Clairvoyance: Your Inner Vision |

Clairvoyance comes from the French, meaning ''clear seeing." It refers to the power to see an event or image that appears in the past, present, or future. This type of sight usually does not occur with your physical eyes, but instead with your inner eye. |

For example, I was preparing to give a reading to a new client named Esther. When I closed my eyes, an image of a huge umbrella immediately popped into my mind. I saw it quite distinctly. In my mind's eye, the umbrella stood in the corner of the room, tipping over. While I often receive symbolic intuitive messages, I couldn't make any sense whatsoever of this falling umbrella. Not knowing what else to say or do, I simply told Esther what I'd seen. |

To my surprise, Esther shrieked, "Oh no! That can't happen!" She then explained that she owned an event management business and intended to put on a huge promotional functionheld under a tentfor her largest client the following week. All of the buffet tables were to be decorated with umbrellas! "They can't fall over. It would ruin everything!" explained Esther. |

Because I don't believe that everything is predestined, I suggested that Esther tie down the umbrellas securely and, while she was at it, secure the tent itself with extra rope and fasteners. Esther called a week later to say she'd arrived at the event early in the morning and "battened down her hatches," so to speak. When she returned a few hours later, all of the other tents had blown over in a sudden windstorm. Esther's was the only one left standing! |
