Although these colors match up with the seven main chakras and life issues related to them, the aura is not seen as a row of horizontal stripes that starts at the top of the head and moves down to the feet. Rather, the layers surround each person's body in rings, similar to the layers in an onion when it's cut in half. When reading an aura, some experts believe that each ring of the aura, extending outward from the body, expresses a different aspect of the person. Does that person hold a lot of anger inside, which is characterized by bright red in his or her aura?
