Not everyone will experience their relationship with their guide in the same way that I do. Indeed, ''guides" may be just one way that some people conceptualize the intuitive information they receive. Everyone that does so reports that a common trait: The presence of one's guide creates a sense of being filled with love and light. If you do not sense the presence of a guide, do not bemoan the fact: It may not be the ideal path for you. However, if you're interested, we provide exercises to help you explore the possibility that you too have a guide to help you receive and interpret intuitive information. |

Making Time for Peace and Joy |

One of the ways that your intuition speaks to you is by directing you to joy and peace. Writer Brenda Ueland has coined a term she calls "moodling." She defines it as "long, inefficient, happy idling, dawdling, and puttering." We rarely give ourselves time like this, and may even think of it as laziness. |

When we're our most busy selves, bustling around complaining about the direction our life is taking, we're most in need of moodling. Such preoccupation prevents our intuition from breaking through the minidramas we've created. We need to slow down to hear the still, small, quiet inner voice again. That voice will show us how to bring our lives back into harmony. |

The following exercise gives you three steps to help you realign your awareness of inner joy. First, recall what's worked for you in the past, then open yourself up to where you're at in the present, and then see what amazing changes can come along. |
