3 of Pentacles.
Upright Imagery and Meanings: In the 3 of Pentacles, we see a man receiving approval from a nun and a monk. He's finishing a masonry piece in the church, and his skill and ability will be rewarded.
This card promises recognition of your skill and ability. For example, your boss will approve of your work and a pay raise may be in the works because of it. It could indicate a good review at work, or acceptance for your education and skill.
Congratulations are due you. Material gain and success are yours through your hard work and effort. The 3 of Pentacles can also represent being accepted in a group, club, or other organization.
Reversed Imagery and Meanings: When this card is reversed, the rewards are not coming and approval of your work and skill is delayed. The man on the bench has had all his tools fallen away from him, so he can't do his work the way he had intended.
Sometimes, the 3 of Pentacles comes up reversed to mean loss at the workplace because of a lack of goods or equipment to do a good job. This card can also represent union or contract disagreements. Negotiations are possible when it appears, but they may not have the outcome you desire. The card can also indicate mediocre work or that work-place conditions are not safe.
