Many people may brush these experiences aside as mere coincidences, but there's nothing mere about them. They are all examples of synchronicity. Whether we know it or not, they happen for a reason. |

My friend Elena is a seamstress who received a suit for alteration from a client. After the client left the shop, Elena reached for a pair of scissors and accidentally knocked a soft drink onto her client's suit, staining it irreparably. Elena was horrified. She prides herself on her professionalism and integrity and always takes great care with her client's clothes. |

She decided that she would have to find the same fabric and remake the suit. She went to four fabric stores. She found the fabric in several places, but it was always the wrong color or shade. Finally she went to a fifth store in a very out-of-the-way place and again had no success. |

She was about to resign herself to having to confess to her client when she decided to pray and ask for guidance. Elena has a very irreverent manner of prayer. She went into a corner of the store and said, ''Okay, God. Listen to me. If you want me to remake this suit, you're going to have to show me where to get this fabric!" A few seconds later the bolts of fabric she had been leaning against toppled over. Guess what? The fabric she had been seeking was right there. Her client was thrilled with the beauty of her "retailored" suit, and none the wiser. |

As you increase your awareness, you'll improve your ability to hear your "still, small voice" and to recognize the signs of synchronicity. But until you gain confidence in your ability to pick up on these subtle cues, here are a few exercises to help clue you in. |

In each of the following exercises pay attention to how you receive your psychic input. It's just as important to pay attention when you're wrong as when you are right. And try to enjoy practicing these psychic skillsjust for fun! |

As you're coming out of a sleep state in the morning, see if you can get any impressions about the day's news. (No fair cheating with the news on your clock radio!) |
