How Perceptive Are You?
Picking up on intuitive information has a lot to do with being open to it and aware of it when it comes. Sometimes you or others may receive information that seems normal enough, but if you pay attention you may see that it is actually unusual. The information can come to you either as a surprising extent of knowledge or an uncanny skill to receive it quickly.
Dr. Daniel Cappon is a Scottish-born psychiatrist, environmental expert, and author who has identified 20 skills that naturally intuitive people have. He divides the skills into two categories: input skills and output skills.
Based on his list of these skills, Dr. Cappon has devised an IQ test that measures intuitive ability. It's much too long to include all of it here, but we want to offer some insight. The input skills include 10 skills involving the ability to take in information quickly, without many clues. Among these skills are:

Quickly taking in a whole scene and remembering the details
The 10 output skills involve acting on information quickly, even with a minimum of background information. Here's a sample of these skills:

Having hunches that often prove accurate

Describing what's already happened, without having any outside source of information (finding out after you've described something that it did occur as you saw it)
According to these descriptions, James Bondwho somehow knows everything from the instant he walks into a room (or before)is extremely psychic. (That's an idea that's not so far-fetched, once you know that the U.S. government engaged in psychic espionage.)
