You can conduct your own Zener-card experiment at home. Here's an easy way to make your own cardsand put them to use!

1. Purchase some blank, white 3''×5" index cards. Draw the five duplicates of each of the five Zener-card symbols with colored felt-tip pens or crayons on 25 of the cards.

Again, the five symbols are a red cross, a green star, a black square, an orange circle, and blue wavy lines.

2. Choose a partner and determine who will be the sender and who will be the receiver. Sit in different rooms. Both of you should get into a quiet and relaxed state of mind.

3. The sender shuffles the cards, picks up the top card, and concentrates on that image for three minutes. The receiver visualizes the image she receives and writes it down. It's generally best to just go with the first image you get. Don't try to figure it out or keep changing your mind.

4. When the sender completes three minutes with each card, he should ring a bell or clap his hands to indicate the start of another image. The sender and receiver should not talk about any of the results until all 25 cards are completed.
Now check your results. The odds in pure chance would result in you getting five right out of the 25 chances. A higher score than five out of 25 shows that you have a more advanced degree of ESP. If you consistently score well above average, then you are quite psychic!
