This idea challenges the long-held belief that existence occurs on a linear plane, in only one place at only one point in time. Using mathematics, Bohm theorized that time and space do not really exist, except as constructs that people agree to. In essence, everyone and everything is part of a nonlocal reality, meaning that events that are far from one's awareness can, nevertheless, have an effect on them. This principal allows for the possibility that psi works by transcending the boundaries of space and time, creating the interconnectedness that yogis and philosophers described 5,000 years ago. |

One thing that physicists and psi scientists agree on is that physics and psi probably follow the same set of natural laws. But at the moment, no one school of thought about physics is agreed upon as true beyond a doubt. In general, even most psi researchers aren't ready to come out proclaiming that psi has all the answers. Rather, they suggest that it may lead them to the best questions to ask in order to understand a wide variety of issues and concepts. |
