Rising and Descending
Begin this exercise by getting in a relaxed, meditative state. For the first part of the exercise, count down from ten to one. As you do so, imagine yourself moving downward into your consciousness, as if you were walking down stairs or descending on an escalator or elevator. When you get to the bottom on the count of one, ask your guide to show you information about a newsworthy, well-known past event. Observe and remember your own feelings and sensations regarding this news.
For the second part of the exercise, again count down from ten to one. As you do so, picture yourself flowing gently downward into your consciousness on a feather, cloud, or magic carpet. When you arrive on the ground on the count of one, ask your guide to show you information on an upcoming event that will be noteworthy and possibly newsworthy too. Observe and remember your own feelings and sensations regarding this news.

An important aspect of this exercise is recording everything you experience as soon as you are doneand don't forget to date it. Over time you may see your new ''news" come true, and you'll be glad you wrote your personal "headlines" down.
Creating a Screen
For this exercise, choose a screen on which to see tomorrow's information, such as a blank television screen or a calm pool of water. Position it in an environment you feel comfortable with and enjoy, and then sit back and relax, watching the screen. Try to picture tomorrow's headlines, or lottery numbers, or winners at the track. (We don't advise putting money on themjust check it out for fun!)
This exercise works best when you look for information in the near future on an area in which you have a specific interest. If you normally read the newspaper, envision yourself getting up and following your regular morning preparations before sitting down with the newspaper. Then open up your imaginary newspaper and envision the headlines. (If you don't normally look at the betting or sports stats, don't try to test yourself in that area. Just stick with the front-page news.)
As you experience shifts in time, make mental notes of how each one feels to you, or write them down in your psychic journal. When you're recalling the past,
