The ideal way for you to help people may not appear to you when you first realize their needs. Perhaps you'll have an opportunity to talk with them at some future date. They may want to pour out their hearts, and it's your job to just listen. Or you may never know exactly what troubles them, but perhaps what you offer can be as simple as a smile or a silent prayer. Any offering of compassion can be a form of healing. |

At the same time, you'll come to realize that you are healing yourself as well, because each moment of awareness and empathy you share with another, and every blessing you offer that person, helps you appreciate all that you have and are. |
