2. The Transition Phase. This is the toughest part for most people. It's the stage during which you're waiting. It often feels like you're doing nothing. It's a time, however, to let the solution to your dilemma percolate. If you're a believer in guides, angels, and other helpers of the universe, you may want to think of this as a time that they are gathering resources, connections, and synchronicities to bring about your answer.

Try to enjoy a little down time. Take care of yourself. Get a massage. Take the day off. Meditate or do yoga. Relax. Sleep more. It's often difficult for your intuition to get through the usual busyness of your mind. Do anything that helps you slow down.

Now, back to my example:

I am an action taker, so I hate this waiting phase. I prayed about the decision. I asked for dreams, any form of guidance. I meditated. I wrote in my journal. I asked for a sign to indicate the direction I should take. I played out various scenarios in my mind and tried to feel out my response. I felt scared of the risk. Would it work to have my own business? Could I do this full-time? Could I make it on my own? What about benefits and security? I also felt excited by the idea of change and the possibilities it presented. Meanwhile, I continued to do my software job and give readings. I waited.

Sometimes, if you're not sure what decision to make, waiting is the best strategy. Allow time for your answer to come to you. If you feel you're in a time crunch, create a bit of quiet time away from your usual busy routine to allow a sense of inner calm to come your way.

3. The ''Aha" Phase. If you've followed the first two steps with the clear intention of receiving intuitive input about your decision, the next step will happen all by itself. The answer may come in a dream, by a continual inner nudge toward a certain answer, or sometimes by a simple inner certainty about the right decision. The answer may come when you least expect itand most need it. See the way it happened to me:

My answer came in a dream. In my dream I was out on a beautiful lake. I was taking in this glorious scene when I noticed that I was in canoes. That isn't a typo. I had one foot in one canoe and my other foot in another. The two canoes were going to opposite ends of the lake. I immediately woke up and laughed. I couldn't continue to try to go in two directions! I instantly understood that I couldn't possibly hold down my software job and give my readings. The answer became clear.

Your information may come to you in a similar way, or much differently. Just remember to trust it, as well as trust in your reading of it. It's a special delivery message just for you, so don't take it for granted or feel afraid to act on it.

4. The "I Know I Made the Right Decision" Phase. When you've made the right decision you usually feel relieved, excited, and maybe even calm and peaceful. Often events start to click into place for you. This is part of the synchronicity we talked
