the viewpoints of one of the leaders, along with his reasons for rejecting the group's plans. My client and I discussed ways to show him that she empathized with his views but had suggestions for effective compromises.
Oddly, the day after this conversation I heard the leader on the radio, expounding on the very same viewpoints that I had explained to my client. If you're wondering about the outcome of their conflict, this situation didn't have an easy solution. The information I provided helped everyone in the opposing group understand the other group's leader from a different perspective, which helped the lines of communication remain open for everyone. The two sides are still working out their differences, and they consult me occasionally to help with the newest step toward progress.
Your intuition also keeps you in touch with your own needs and what you can do to help yourself in relationships. A classic example of how this comes in handy is when new relationships from. I've had various female clients come to me after about a year of dating new men with the sad news that they had chosen the wrong person. And yet, when they look back at their first few dates, these women can usually remember a point when their inner voice told them, ''This is not a good relationship to pursue." Despite hearing these inner alarms, many people choose to ignore their intuition. Often, because they have made mistakes in the past, they have become afraid to trust their own judgment. Once you are attuned to your intuition, it can act as both a warning signal and a confirmation sign that your own judgment is intact.

One simple area where I always apply my intuition is in choosing the professionals who will work for me, such as doctors, dentists, and even my car mechanics. Many parents rely on intuition when it comes to choosing the best schools or teachers for their children. While certain educational arenas are ideal for certain students, they fail others. By understanding how two people will get along and how they will motivate each other, you can better decide the direction to follow for a long-term decision. In addition, you can understand how to present information about new transitions to others, so that change can be much easier for you and everyone else involved.
