The series of paintings by Lady Freida Harris that were commissioned and overseen by Aleister Crowley to make up the Thoth Tarot Deck are without doubt some of the most symbolically rich and stylistic images ever designed for this purpose. I have not witnessed the paintings in person but in past editions of the deck it seems that the printing and photography did not allow the true beauty of the paintings to shine through. This fact I believe has left a gaping hole in occult tradition.
While newer versions of the deck have improved substantially, I have been inspired to go a step further.
This package consists of 'digitally remastered' versions of the Thoth images. It emphasizes intense, rich colors and a graphical novel look. I have processed the images to smooth out colors and remove much of the canvas texture. This sacrificed some amount of detail but creates an illuminated feel. An improved frame has been created which adds depth to the designs.
All images are optimized for the 1600 x 1200 computer screen. If you know much about printing, you'll know that without special 'spot color' ink formulations these rich and saturated colors could never be produced satisfactorily. 
So I hope that you'll enjoy working with these images and renew your appreciation for the masterpiece that is the Thoth Tarot Deck.
