Last, but certainly not least, we want to thank many tremendous people who have helped create or inspire this book. As we say later in the book, everyone and everything is connected: The hearts, minds, and spirits of all those who have come together to create this book are proof of that. May the light of the universe bless you all. |

I would like to thank my husband Gary for all his support. I appreciate all the proof-reading, shoulder rubs, dinners, and late-night discussions. Thanks also to my stepson Cliff Watson. I really don't read your mind, Cliff (most of the time). To my wonderful network of terrific girlfriends, Savita Brewer, Cheryl Gilman, Shiri Hughes, Marina Petro, Jean Redpath, Cheryl Richardson, Gayle Rosen, Barbara Selwyn, and Laura Walker. Thanks for all the cheerleading. You knew I could do this before I did. LaVonne, thanks for your good humor, great spirit, and terrific writing. It was fun to work with you. |

LaVonne would like to thank the following people for their contributions to the book: Lee Walker for his expertise as a physicist and dreamer; Ruth Seeliger for sharing ''the way"; K. Lavonne for her courage and encouragement; and Joanne Go for her inspiration and support. Big hugs go to Brian, Elizabeth, and Patrick for their patience, faith, and love (and sharing computer time!). A huge thank-you goes to Lynn Robinson, who always anticipated just what was needed next, whether it was extra information or enthusiastic support. |

Shiri Hughes has been a practicing psychic and medium for more than 30 years. Now in her early 70s, she is grateful that her intuitive ability saved her life at least three times during World War II. Shiri studied astrology and metaphysics with the famous astrologer Isabel Hickey, then studied mediumship with the brilliant medium Sophie Busch. In 1970, the Spiritualist Church ordained Shiri as a minister. Today, Shiri teaches classes in the development of mediumship and psychometry, as well as gives readings to clients in which she uses clairaudience, clairvoyance, and, occasionally, clairsentience. |
