Psychic GamblingIt's a Crapshoot!
So, if intuitive types can use their minds to control matter, why aren't they striking it rich at the game tables? Or creating a monopoly on the state lottery?
While some statisticians state that it actually is possible to beat the odds at the gambling tables through psychic finesse, maintaining that level of finessing is where it gets sticky.
Casinos are carefully designed to be distracting, using both sound and visual effects to keep you on your toes. Such influences affect the players' ability to concentrate on the game, as well as their ability to remain levelheaded. You see, a big part of actually taking home some winnings is knowing when to go homethat is, to quit when you're ahead. If a highly trained intuitive could consistently concentrateand sense when to quithe or she might be able to make a mint. But it's hard to make a career of that because intuitives are, like the rest of us, human, with human desires and urges!
So far, we have no documented reports of casinos hiring psychics to watch from afar and affect the outcome. And the odds of that happening are unlikely, because most people who get in touch with their psychic senses tend to become focused on more pure pursuits than self-centered objectives like gambling. Furthermore, specific numbers, including lottery numbers, are generally not the type of information that your intuition delivers in a straightforward manner (although it can sometimes happen).
