As we discussed in Chapter 2, artists, prophets, and philosophers have been talking about psychic phenomena for ages. Indeed, the sacred Vedas, written in India thousands of years ago, state that it is an illusion that individual minds are separate from each other, but that, in fact, our minds can cross boundaries of time and space to access information. |

Today, science is finally catching on toand trying to catch up withthese ideas. But whether or not the source of psi is something sacred (as the yogis would claim) does not currently concern scientists all that much. Rather, their focus is first on proving that psi exists, and then defining exactly what it is. In this chapter we take a look at how science regards psychic phenomena. |
