What's going on with Sally? Is she in a life situation that supports a change? Does she feel confident? Would another job be better? Is there another job coming along soon? How does she feel about the job? Can I see her happy in her position?
What's the job about? Who's her boss? Will he or she be a good match for Sally? Will the company be successful? What are the political dynamics in the company? What would Sally's coworkers be like? Will they be a good team for Sally to work with? Is this generally a good career move for Sally? Is it a growing company? Would Sally's position change for the better or worse once she had the job? Will she still be there in a year?
Certainly you and I can get a general intuitive feeling about a ''yes" or "no" decision. But, as you can see, a good many intricacies are involved in answering someone's quick question. I would want to look at all of those issues so that I could answer with honesty and integrity.
You Can't Predict Free Will
In my practice, I am often asked if I am 100 percent accurate. I'm the first to say, "No, I am not 100 percent accurate." I also don't believe that measuring percentages really means anything when it comes to readings. I think it's extremely difficultin fact, practically impossibleto assess a percentage of accuracy when it comes to intuition.
I think even the most skilled psychic is wrong a fair percentage of the time. Remember all those scientific tests we have spoken about in past chapters? The highest scores on many of those tests are around 65 percent. And those scores are considered quite impressive.
I am also a firm believer in free will. Without pushing, I often try to steer clients away from what looks like a disastrous path. Am I inaccurate because my client took my advice and the disaster never happened? In that case, I'd be happy with a zero percent accuracy rate!
You can't predict free will. I believe the future is full of probabilities. If you go to a psychic who sees a future event for you, he or she is looking at one probable future for you. What happens to you is influenced by your thoughts, beliefs, and emotions. Whenever you change a belief, alter a thought, or release a strong emotion, you are changing your future.
