Leading skeptics have theories about where UFO sightings originate. According to one well-known skeptic, abductees who are hypnotized to recall their experiences are simply following the lead of the hypnotist's suggestions. Furthermore, they speculate that the media, including shows like The X-Files, fills people's heads with information about paranormal experiences. Then, if a person is hypnotized to report on her UFO experiences, she has a wealth of informationalbeit from sci-fi sourcesat her mental fingertips.
Both the abductees' and skeptics' perspectives may seem equally odd at times. But it's always wise to hear both sides of any story. The skeptics have logic and rational arguments on their side; the abductees have experienceand a transformed perception of realityon theirs.

The impressions and experiences you have had may seem simple. People start calling you more often when you're thinking about them, you suddenly know a bit of information that can help you out in a pinch, or perhaps you feel filled with a sense of peace or energy when you're meditating.
