Pay attention to your thoughts. Listen to what you tell yourself about your life situation. Pay particular attention to your beliefs about your ability to achieve what you want. Erase negative self-talk. |

Practice your affirmations and visualizations. Practice these at least twice a day. Often, the morning and evening are the best times for most people to focus their thoughts. |

Pay attention to what excites you. Continue to think about what you would like to create in your life. Focus on what brings you joy in your life today and what may bring you joy in the future. |

Take action. Take action on at least three things that can move you closer to your goals/visions/dreams. If you're after a new career, for example, call a job counselor, interview someone who works in your desired industry, sign up for a related class, or do some research on the Internet or at the library. Small steps count! By taking them, you're building a bridge to create the life you want! |

One important way to build confidence in your ability to carry through with your dreams and goals is to give yourself a pat on the back for opening up to your intuition. Following are some suggestions for staying in touch with the psychic side that got you this far along on your journey: |

Begin each day by asking for guidance. You might do so when you first wake up in the morning, when you're having your morning coffee, or even during your shower. If you need information about something specific, ask your intuition about that problem. Otherwise, ask for general guidance and wisdom. |

Take time out every day for a 10- to 15-minute meditation break. Experiment with doing it at different times of day, then decide which one works best for you. |
