Although you needn't believe in a specific God called by a certain name, faith and a true desire for wellness are important ingredients in many types of healing. Many people pray expecting that God will simply grant their requests. But it doesn't usually work that way. Prayer, with its built-in positive thinking, is a partnership. If you're always afraid to believe that it may work, you'll never even have a chance of knowing that it can. |
