Aside from the big picture, make sure that you're taking care of the small stuff too. Do your research on any decision you need to be making. Write your thank you notes to the people who count. Make sure you exercise, so your thoughts and energy get flowing. Go on a walkabout around your neighborhood so you see a different view of the reality that surrounds you. Dance, jump, punch a pillow. Just stop taking yourself so seriously! Remember the saying, ''Angels can fly because they take themselves lightly." |

For example, you may be waiting to hear about one job possibility because anothereven better!job is about to become available somewhere else . . . maybe at a level or company that you never dreamed you'd have a shot at. This takes us back to that old adage that we keep sending your way: Trust your intuition. |
