''I Know, But I Don't Know How" |

A common expression among many beginnersand even mastersin the world of intuitive insight is "I know but, I don't know how." If you've ever had this sense or the impulse to express it, you're definitely on track. But what does it mean? |

You've probably had a moment when you stopped short in your tracks, struck with a thought or idea that came from seemingly no where. Perhaps it had no relation to any topic you'd had on your mind at all, and yet the information later proved accurate. Once you gain a little experience with receiving intuitive information, you'll be able to say "A-ha!" with the full confidence that the information is something that comes from a source beyond your five senses. You may never be able to describe the inspiration for that source, but you can get better at recognizing and using this type of knowledge. |

Intuition as Life's Teacher |

A safe way to view intuition is as our souls' instructions, guiding us to make correct decisions for ourselves, according to our higher purpose in life. The messages we receive may give us information about how to proceed in our lives. Or they may provide insight into what lessons we should be learning from certain experiences, even painful ones. They offer suggestions for taking the next steps, large or small, along our path. |

In addition to positive growth in our personal and spiritual lives, our relationships with others also benefit. Psychic insight can grant us greater understanding, empathy, and compassion for others. It informs us about our world in new ways, giving us a fresh perspective. I like to refer to intuitive information as "an instruction package for planet Earth." But don't worry too much about reading the entire world: Once you start seeing your immediate surroundings, the larger world will come to you. |

Remember one thing: Keep an open mind! As you begin tapping into your psychic information, you'll discover it's a hit-or-miss proposition at first. It may take you some time to sort out which messages are meant for you. Maybe you won't be bending spoons like Uri Geller from day one, but eventually you'll tune into the method of sending or receiving information that works best for you. You'll also start to get a good sense of when an intuitive message is truly coming to youloud and clear. |

Here's an image to help illustrate it. Envision your intuitive powers as a radio wave or radio signals coming from station W-PSI (or K-PSI if you're on the West Coast!). The power is always there, you just need to know how to tune in. For some, this tuning in involves a concerted learning effort; others may just happen to hit the best station right off the bat. With a little effort, anyone can soon gain access to a usable frequency. You just need a few lessons on how to fine-tune your psychic receptors. |
