Touch-and-Breathe (TAB) is a gentle, mindful, and natural treatment approach, used in lieu of tapping, to facilitate subtle energetic changes along the acupuncture meridians of the body.

The client is asked to lightly touch the designated treatment points along the acupuncture meridians with one or two fingers, and to take one complete respiration (one easy inhalation and exhalation at his or her own pace, usually through the nose) while maintaining contact at each treatment point. [Note: TAB is NOT a substitute for rubbing the neurolymphatic reflex area (NLR or "sore spot") in the upper left chest area.]

The TAB procedure is easily inserted into any meridian-based psychotherapy in place of tapping. This would include treatment of all acupoints, the 9 Gamut, the floor to ceiling eye roll, all treatments for neurological disorganization that do not use the NLR area, and psychological reversals. TAB treatment is conducted while the client is attuned to his or her problem.
