A BRIEF TAPPING SEQUENCE

Preliminaries: Three Thumps/Three Navel Touch, Select Problem, Rate Problem from 1 to 10, Word the "Reminder Phrase."

Part 1: Rub chest sore spot while saying three times, "Even though [name problem], I deeply love and accept myself."

Part 2: Tap the points (see below) while saying out loud your reminder phrase.

Part 3: Tap the point between the little and fourth finger, beneath the knuckle as you: look down to the right, down to the left, circle eyes, circle in opposite direction, hum a bar of a song, count to five, hum again, sweep out and up

Part 4: Repeat Part 2.

Part 5: Rate problem again. If above 0, return to Part 1 and repeat sequence. If at 0 or near 0, imagine having an ideal response in the situation, rate it on how plausible this seems (0 to 10), and repeat Parts 1-4, this time using a reminder phrase that represents your ideal response and visualizing your ideal response as you tap. Repeat sequence until believability is up to 8 or higher. Then you are ready to test the gains in a "real life" setting.

Inside of eyebrows
Outside of eyes
Under eyes
Under nose
Under lower lip
K-27 points
Over thymus
Spleen points (four inches below underarms)
Side of legs between hip and knee
Karate chop points
Point between the little and fourth finger, beneath the knuckle
