 I missed my corgi-mixed dog.
We had her for ten years, since 1998; ten years I've enjoyed having her. I used to run back in fourth with her, whenever she's outside, in the fence, threw balls across the yard, wrestle with her, with my hand, and let her sleep with me, whenever she wanted to.
I moved into a new house in 2006, when my mother moved away from my dad, since they were having communication problems, but we left the dog, since my dad bought her; he decided to give her to us, a month later, since we enjoyed her company. With the new house, I started a new game for her, by throwing the tennis ball at a wall, between the living room and dining room. The first couple times were hilarious because she thought the ball went in the living room, instead it bounced back to me, in the living room. She lasted two great years, still very energetic, despite getting old.
On October 2008, she got ran over. I didn't understand how it happened, since she usually walks along the side of the road and not in the middle, but it broke my heart; I couldn't get over it for a couple months. We buried her at my dad's house and I try to visit her grave site whenever I go there.
Four years has past and my sisters have gotten a black lab and a pit bull, both, apparently, mixed with australian shepherd. I don't mind having them around and playing with them, but, compared to our previous dog, they're too destructive.
Anyway, here's a pic of my corgi; it was taken a couple months before the incident(filename). |
