Also, this may seem a bit money grubbing Jew, the new Pepsi vending machines with the giant buttons that take up the front of the machine have a poorly designed change return slot. I've personally picked up the habit of checking the slot because it tends to have at least one quarter in it. If you want to modify your return and you know a machine that you can check regularly, all you have to do is put some kind of "partial block" on the change return line under the shadow. I've found silicone works great for this. I'm picking up a good $8-$10 a week free from a couple of machines in my hotel building. |
