- Sport turbo/supercharger ( race turbo/supercharger if 1.9l or under, NA also allowed )
- Sport weight reduction, Sport tires, Sport gearbox, Stock flywheel
- Forza Front/Rear Aero suggested

- PI from 550-621 ( across classes )
- 2.8l max if forced induction; 4.0l max if naturally aspirated
- No restrictions on other parts.

Yes, you can put as many parts on your car as it takes to get to your class limit.

Limited to two cars per series, any number of tunes.

We will be trying a form of teams of two drivers using the same livery, same/different cars.
It's more of a trial thing right now, so if that seems stupid, we can go back to single drivers.

Team Mustang vs Team Camaro
3v3 or 4v4 races (depending on number of participants)
Race entry based on first come, first serve basis

Car Restrictions:
Team Mustang – 2005 GT or 2000 Cobra R
Team Camaro – 2002 35th Anniv SS or 2010 SS
Car will be upgraded to A class
Car must be RWD
Car must contain a racing roll cage
Body Modification allowed (No Forza aero permitted however)
All other upgrades allowed
Multiple tuning setups allowed
All driving assists are permitted but please use your normal assist levels (new driver friendly)

Car Livery:
All cars must have a number plate with a simple or detailed livery
All cars must have the WATSeries sticker (available on my SF for free right now[GT: MAns44])
Team Mustang cars must have a predominantly BLACK livery for easy team identification on the track
Team Camaro Cars must have a predominantly RED livery

Team Scoring Format:
Scores will be calculated as a team score after each race. Points are awarded for the finishing place of each team member (in the case of a 3v3 race, 1st place receives 6 points for the team, 2nd receives 5 pts, and 6th receives 1 pt). Team scores will be totaled at the completion of the series to determine the winning team.

Dates and Tracks:
Races will be held sometime in February (probably between the 5th and 12th). Race date and tracks will be announced sometime soon after the CCC. The date will be determined by participant availability to make sure we have full teams. Inexperienced drivers are more than welcome; we will just try to have you on separate teams so please identify yourself as such if you would like to join this event. To join, post your GT, your team, car (if you have decided), and car #.

The only Forza game I played prior to getting Forza 4 was Forza 2. In that game it was piss easy to get credits. All you had to do was buy one of those cars on the auction house with a picture of some anime girl all nude and it would sell for 25-80 million every time. I actually did reach the CR limit on that game at one point.

Good times. Too bad it's hard as shit to make a profit in the auction house in Forza 4 because LOL U NO PAY FOR LCE U NO GET VIP SUCKS FOR U.

And as a matter of fact, many other cars from those polls made it into Forza 4, and also the Forza 4 DLC. Which i personally think is great, as every single car on that poll deserved to be in the game.

But they do (some times) listen to the community. I think the biggest problem for them is time. Forza 4 was made pretty fast and some sacrifices had to be made, and i wont be surprised that microsoft is pushing them to get Forza 5 out the door in two years time, likely on the next xbox which will put even more pressure on them.

What they SHOULD do, and its incredible they arent already, is outsource the DLC. Ok hear me out first: According to Turn10, stuff like additional tracks take a very long time to create, and i imagine cars arent that easy as well. 343 studios outsourced their halo reach dlc to third party companies to what i believe was done well. Other game companies do the same. Heck, even the cars in PGR3 and 4 was made by other studios to save time and not skimp on content.
Yet Turn10 makes everything in house. Which is remarkable in this day and age, but it wont do in the long run if they want to keep adding new content. The only company who can do that is Polyphony Digital, and thats only because they have a development cycle of 5-6 years, one luxury that Turn10 does not have.

Rally was the same but it was more to do with the amount of objects on screen.

Apparently, those crazy fucks rendered a shit ton of houses and topography on that track. As a result when they used the new engine the FPS took a huge nose dive. Rather than try and make it work they had to axe it. Making it work would've cut out so much scenerery that the town would have looked desolate.

This happened with Fujimi Kaido too. It you ever can, race on it on F3 or watch a vid of it. The amount of trees along the side of the mountain are cut down drastically. In F3 you could rarely see over the edge of the road because of all the trees, in F4 you can see across the valley and the little village and the base of said valley.

One more thing I would like to address, the fox body mustang is a pretty respectable track car IRL. Everybody luls cause can't turn, but a tuned fox body can friggen turn with some tires, suspension and short wheel base. I hate how the miata is a handling god and the fox body is pretty much good for drag and doriftuing. The miata is an awesome track car and deserves to be strong in the game, but the fox body gets significantly short changed. It can't handle like a miata IRL, but when made into a track car it should be a relevant contender.

They were not the best laps but I can't believe with a little tuning that I couldn't consistently being in, let alone touch, 1:35. I can never get BMW's to feel natural in this game. They always feel too twitchy or like a plow, half the time managing to feel like both. I have racing slicks on both. If anybody uses either of these cars for A-class, what type of rubber do you use? I am thinking I may have too much tire for modestly powered A-classers. I feel like an idiot driving 96% of my cars. My ferraris and MC12 tuck me in a night to sleep though (3%).

I use Race tires with the widest tires available, and my E46 seems okay to me. A little overexcitable coming out of slow corners, but definitely manageable enough to get consistant times. I do like my cars a bit loose so it works for me. Try adding a bit of toe in on the rears (0.1) and setting the diff to 60% to calm it down a notch. Other than that, I find the default setup it gives you when you chuck parts on to be the best.

Trust me, once you've got this car under control, you'll find it's one of the best A Class cars this side of a Lotus. It's a damn good all rounder and serves me well in any public A Class race.

In case you guys haven't figured it out yet, Fjukimi traffic is GT1 style driving. You do 130mph at the guardrail at a slight angle and GRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIND that mother fucker through. I don't even turn for the hairpins, gun it through the guardrail, You enter at 100mph, you exit at 50ish. It's the same, if not faster, than braking.

traumer and I have also learned to pinpall certain corners, gun into it. Divebomb corner, turn late, bounce bounce bounce bounce Gun it to victory.

Fuck legit racing. I tried that after traumers time and it's not even fun. FK traffic is all about maximum cheese.

the only real problem I see with this is that you can't gas and brake at the same time. like when turning you get on brakes but you don't necessarily have to drop the gas completely off, you can taper down to a light throttle input and then roll back into it while letting off the brakes.

I dunno maybe I'm the only one that does that. It's really helpful in cars that have turbo lag like some of the lower class cars where you can't really do alot of upgrades without breaking class restrictions.

I've never needed to do that, and I'd imagine it would make you understeer. If I have to slow down a little but not enough to fully brake, I just ease off the gas a little or just tap the brakes. If it's understeering a little or if it's a really tight hairpin, I'll give the e-brake the tiniest amount of pressure to get it around. Slows the back wheels down and helps it get around. Never needed to use gas and brake at the same time, unless it's for wheelies, in which case I change controller setups anyway.

It also helps that I can't use gas and brake, cuz sometimes I get lazy and have LT pressed in without me knowing it, and using RT for gas is like playing with the controller upside down in a way because I have no idea how much gas I'm using or how fast I'm actually going. Really disorientating lol

Different strokes and all that I suppose.

well I don't put my fingertip on RT, I actually put my finger around it so my fingertip is touching the controller and then the RT is in the joint between the first and second portion of my finger, that way I always know how much it is pulled in, in relation to the controller. I also don't pull in to the controller, I push the along the button from top to bottom. so it's more like pushing a gas pedal in that the more down you push the more out the button is so it gets pushed in farther.

I do something similar. Specifically using the top of the trigger since less pressure there translates to more result. It's a lever so pressing on the end of the trigger requires more distance for my finger to move to get a result. I do the same with the left trigger and braking.

Surely you're not that retarded? GT5 is a kids game just as much as Forza. Don't forget, all cars change gears instanteously, even a lowly Midget, and all cars have racecar brakes which cannot be upgraded or improved whatsoever. They're so good, actually, that you can't turn ABS off without them locking completely, because that's just how realistic this game is. And of course my favourite modifications - the racing exhaust for the ZR1 that gives it +40hp while lopping 4 cylinders off (or at least that's how it sounds, and the racing computer for pre-60's cars.

Somewhat relevant, after reading the battle between Ryosuke Takahashi and Rin Hojo, in Initial D, it makes me want to make a replica of their cars.

Except the aero kit options are very limited and you can't customize headlights, excluding the covers used in racing spoilers, on some cars.
