My dad is a freelance soundman and he works with the news networks a lot. He went to Kuwait a few years back for several months and he told me its dangerous as fuck. There are terrorists riding around with machine guns and dead bodies everywhere. 4th richest? Try 3rd world. Try not do die =D

Old Army buddy of mine works in Iraq for a certain corporation hired out by the US Department of Defense. Had some shit to do that required crossing the border into Kuwait. Said he couldn't wait to get back to Iraq where it was safer. Claimed he had to fire off more rounds working for a contractor in Kuwait than he had in his entire military career.

You're going to die, dude.

I was in both Kuwait and Iraq, and Kuwait is a million time safer then Iraq. They don't even issue ammo to 99% of the troops there.

Yeah, they have alot of oil money floating around, but the culture is still 16th century with the majority of the population. Its a barren, uninteresting desert wasteland with only one city. Kuwait city apperently even has a bar that serves liquor to foriegners, and thats likely the most awesome place to see.

Other then that, there is some tower in kuwait city where some random Kuwaiti businessman picked up a AK and killed some insane number of invading Iraqis, after having been shot at 12 times with tank maingun rounds and shit. They left the shot-up place the way they found it.

Other then that? I hear the Airport is OK if your holding a ticket to someother country.
