Just ordered Lonely Planet India, Nepal and Thai Phrasebooks. Im going to travel to those countries after i have finished army, which should be one year from now.

Planning to be there atleast 6 months, i'll have about 8000 euros by then, is it possible to be in those three countries for +6 months with 8k?

Awesome. I'm still in college right now studying in culinary arts. Planning to work as soon as I graduate and collect as much money as I can and travel the world. In other words, a full time backpacker. Anyone here ever have experience backpacking in Europe? Is it easy for a foreigner to find a job over there?

Not sure about nepal or thailand but €8000 will get you over 500K indian rupees. You could buy a small car in india with half that. So youll be set with money unless youre going to rent out a nice fucking town house in one of the major cities which will only get you 1 months rent.

You could get a decent apartment to rent in any city for about Rs.10K/month check around though. Everything else is cheap as fuck. If you take the autos then that will only cost you around less than 1-2k/month even if you travel 5x a day in those things.

Not sure what youre going for, if youre east asian some people might just think youre from mizoram and shit.

India kicks ass. I loved it. If you get the chance, head over to Goa and Bombay. Northern India where New Delhi kicks ass too. And don't listen to>>67921the Indian's will practically suck your dick and bathe you in gold if you have one Euro.
