So in a few months I may be moving to Fremont, California for work-related reasons. So I would like you to share with me everything you know about Fremont. Mainly, what is there to do there.

I'm from Fremont.

It's shit. Nothing to do there. It's not a city, it's a large suburb with a population of 200,000 people, and around 99.5% residential zoning. There's not even a mall in the suburb, the closest ones are in the nearby towns (Newark, Milpitas, and Hayward). Seriously, it is boring as hell.

They have an art and wine festival once a year that I've been to. Other than that, it's just one big parking lot with Indian movie theatres.

No it doesn't. Southland > Newpark. But all in all the Bay Area is really, really boring.

You're about an hour to two hours from San Fran and Berkeley. Just spend your weekends there.
