Depends on what you want. If you want historical bs, go to Istanbul - if you want sand and beaches, go to Antalya or places around Izmir.

Also, make sure to discuss Armenian genocide with the locals. and tell them Ataturk was a gay dictator and they'll love you.

Turkfag here. First browse www.turkeytravelplanner.com
I think it covers most of the holiday routes and our weird customs that you may be aware of before coming here.

Armenian genocide is not a hot topic anymore since it's proven false at least twice a day on our national tv channel. But yes, you can still get our attention by debating Ataturk's sexual preferences.

>It has been recognized by some lulzy state governator so it's true.

Sorry for forgetting to add an inb4 clause to my post above. I'll try and compensate for it:

In before more Armenian American trolls trying to hijack another Turkey thread.

It is all retarded apologetics, perpetrated to delude the ignorant and the idiot and no I'm not an Armenian troll, I'm Turkish. The truth is though, it in no way does warrant the butthurt Armenian way of handling things.

Funny thing is I'm probably the only Armenian lurking on this site. Yet I could give no more than 2 shits. If the Turks don't want to accept history, let it be.

The Greeks are the real ones at fault here.

Nah, there should be quite a few, though I presume most don't live in Armenia.

That should be the attitude though, crying over past won't solve anything - and, the same goes for Turks who deny this vehemently but are eager to cry and blame their contemporary failure when it comes to something they were raped in.

YES THEY HAVE STOLEN OUR PRECIOUS RAKI AND BAKLAVA FROM US AND GAVE THEM FUNNY NAMES. THAT'S WHAT HAS DISTRACTED US WHILE THOSE ARMENIANS WERE PUTTING THEIR EMO SHOW ON THE ROAD.

Joking aside, tell us more about your priorities as>>40879said, op. Cuz if you just want to spend most of your time on beach and see some on your way home, I suggest Istanbul (assuming you'll fly from there).
Otherwise, if you're a archeologyfag, there are countless places of historical value scattered all over Anatolia. But you'll really need an even more seriouser vacation plan than the guy's in pic to see most of them just in 1 week.

You'll be happy to know /trv/ is one of the few boards without trolls or /b/tards.

Also, Turkey kicks ass. Nice girls and shit.

Was born there, but now live in the States. It's surprising, but people outside of Armenia are the only ones usually whining about it anyway. Like I see people with bumper stickers that say "BOYCOTT TURKEY" around here, and I think that they're no different from the turks who say the genocide never happened.

tl;dr everyone needs to get over it
