From Kilarney, head for Limerick. Not a huge amount to do here, but they have very good museums, good night life, but 2/3 nights would do it. From here you're into the wild country. The rest you can do on buses and trains, here you will need a car, an os map, and a list of B&B's. Go along the coast, Cliff of Moher, The Aran Islands, any small fishing village will be an experience. I shit you not, they will love you there. Head for Galway town, great night life, it is like 20% students (seriously) so nights out are as wild as any will be (Galway girls will drink you under the table, DO NOT under estemate their drinking power).
Galways is pretty much the end of the road, have a look along the Shannon river, you could rent a house quite cheaply in the spring for a couple of days, worth doing if it doesn't rain. Donegal is just hills and sheep, not much to see but if you're into all that wild rugged landscape stuff then this is it.
In Northern Ireland, you have a few musuems, AVOID anything even remotely political, they're boring as hell. Belfast is the only place worth going from experience.
As for Scotland, it is all the same pretty much, Edinburgh and whereever your fiance's relos come from, thats about it. Don't forget London, people say it's boring and expensive, that it may be but it is still totally worth doing, you will never go anywhere with so much history, heratige and culture in such a small place.
For the rest of your trip, don't jump between countries, each one is completely different, go from country to country, doing each one separately, this way you will get the best feel for each place and will get the most out of it.
Good luck, and most of all, be adventurous!!!
