montezuma's revenge? brace yourself for you could be expelling fluids out of every orifice in a few hours. if you think this may happen, you need to get your hands on some ELECTROLYTES now before it starts. this means either gatorade or pedialyte. should this happen and you don't have any electrolyte-rich drinks DO NOT drink plain water. instead boil 1 liter (1 quart) of water. after it cools enough to drink mix in 2 tablespoons of sugar or honey, 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 baking soda. if you don't have baking soda add another 1/4 teaspoon of salt instead. drink this for as long as you're throwing up (and after you stop too). if you get tired of making this concoction, interchange it with sweet (CLEAR) drinks like kool-aid or apple juice, but don't stop making it altogether. 24 hours after you stop vomiting start eating SIMPLE carbs, that is white bread, pasta, potatoes, bananas, rice, in order to stop the diarrhea. if it doesn't go that far i'd say just eat simple carbs and drink pre-packaged sweet clear drinks. don't drink unboiled water unless it comes from a bottle.
