Hi /trv/, sorry if this is a really obvious question but I've wondered about it for a while; in Switzerland, how does one know which language to speak? Since it has like 3 or 4 official language (and I know French and German are very widespread) do you have to learn more than one language? Or do different regions have different languages assigned? And, if so, is travelling throughout the different regions/cities difficult due to a language barrier?

Thanks.

Switzerland is not really a country; it's the place where countries intersect.

Regarding German... It's not really German as in Germany, but German as in OH GOD WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT. They'll speak "high" German which is the normal one but you might as well speak English to them.
