hey /trv/
My friend and his girlfriend are having a baby and were moving up to Seattle so that his parents can help him out and I am looking to get my first apartment and all that jazz. where are some good areas for a young graphic designer to live, and how bad is cost of living really? I'm coming from Florida where everything is dirt cheap. one thing is I am a vinyl junkie and need a good place to buy records. and I am a weeaboo and would like a place to get decent sushi and at least one good anime convention in driving distance(like 2 hours). and lastly its been like 8 years since I've been camping and from what Ive seen it looks like it has some nice spots.

Check out 2001 East Madison Street. It seems like what you really need.

Downtown Seattle holds a huge anime convention each year in their main convention hall called Sakura Con so your in luck with that.
