I have a question. What are the easiest countries for an American to legally work in? I want to play professional soccer in a few years. Most US players don't make shit, and I'm not good enough to play in a major euro league. If I'm going to be poor while I'm playing, I'd rather play out of the country. I figure somewhere in South America would be my best bet, but I might be able to cut it in some of the weaker European leagues. So, where can I find out about work permits in less glamorous countries?
i live in mexicoyou have a bigger chance to get a job in europe than in here or any other place in latin america.there are virtually no US players in here, they never get any contracts on professional leagues
>>21442Really? I never see any US players on the rosters, but I just figured not many americans tried. not even in the lower division semi-pro teams? Are there strict labor laws in latin & south america?
Dude.Definitely Europe. You could probably play for Fulham with Kasey, Clint and Eddie.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fulham_fc#Current_squad
Americans suck at football. Try another sport.
You'll find a lot of people hate Americans now, including me to some extent. If you're loud or overopinionated you can expect rough treatment. That said, Australia will probably have you.
Turkey. Relatively easy to get a working permit and you have a much higher chance of playing for a sizable club than, say, in England. Also you'll score lots of model booty.
>>23217funny I was just thinking of there, it'd be easier than euro clubs.
