Come on! Only that shit?

You could possibly be a janitor or construction worker too.

You could sell your body.

You could work as a telemarketer.
>> Anonymous
You could start your own business. That's pretty much your only shot at making a good living with just a high school diploma (unless you're really good at sales).

12th grade is nothing. Graduate 12th grade and go no further with your education and you will be referred to as "uneducated."

So yeah, what kinds of jobs can you get without an education? Construction, fast food, telemarketing, bag boy, etc.

Without an education your best bet is to enter a trade as an apprentice. Call the trade unions and find out how to become a plumber or an electrician or a carpenter (like Jesus lol), or some other trade. But even in a trade you are going to be competing against the illegals.

Exactly. The undergraduate degree is the new high school degree.

Is this only if you plan on working in the US? I'm interested in traveling, but I too only have a gr 12 education. By the time I can get my undergraduate or degree, it'll be too late to apply for a working holiday visa.

If you received your high school education from the US, best of luck. In most European countries, the final two years of high school is equivalent to the first two years of collage in the US.

Right, keep telling yourself that and maybe one day you too can have good universities and free public education with pass rates that = America.

Historically, primary and secondary education in the Soviet Union was superior to that of Western Europe and America. I'm not sure how education in those areas is now, but I'm sure taking a science course at Moscow Uni or something would be a fuckload harder than anywhere in America.

Must have been truly rigorous, considering you used collage instead of college.

All of your job opportunities will most likely be crap. But you can always move up from there. For instance, my Dad works for Trane Air Conditioning and many of the people he works with started out in the warehouse moving stuff around. You aren't going to find an amazing job right off the bat with just a high school diploma, unless you start your own company or something.

is a degree that important in america? can't you just learn a trade?
>> Anonymous
A four year college degree isn't high enough now.

No. Most states are requiring contractors to have state issued licenses (that require at least a two year college degree or so many years experience) to operate. You can thank all the Mexicans for that.
