Well shit, that map makes me want to go but no money. Does anyone think a foreign exchange policy in college to Japan could work?

The Tokyo Disney Resort has two parks: Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. Both are owned and operated by a company with a license from Disney.

Why does it look like Tokyo Disneyland seriously lacks?
>> Anonymous
>>62855
That's Hong Kong Disneyland. Not Tokyo. Why it might look lacking is it's just a mirror image of disneyland which by itself is not that big of a park. With time it will probably expand or they'll build another park close by.

Japanese people are fucking crazy when it comes to Disney shit. I work at Disney World at the Japanese people that come here bug the fuck out when they see the characters and start whipping out presents they brought from Japan to give to the characters and shit. It's nuts. Plus, apparently it's a Japanese law that if you're a Japanese female visiting DW, you must wear Minnie ears.

a lot of Japanese people (young girls) are apeshit crazy for any disney products. Its on a completely different level tho. Its not just that they really like the movies, or the stories, its much more so an obsession with the characters.

Ask them if theyve ever seen an actually mickey mouse cartoon/movie, they will probably say no, but give them some gay trinket like a pencil case covered in baby mickeys and they will go fucking nuts.

HK Disney land is only like 2 years old. It's still expanding.

If you go on the site you'll see the autopia is already in place and they have added the "it's a small world" ride which is not on the map posted.

When Universal Studios was deciding on a mascot for their park they found the Japanese really like Snoopy which I don't understand why.

Go Disney Sea. All the Disneylands are pretty much carbon copies of the SoCal one (except HK is the smallest in the world), but Disney Sea is an original.

I did about half a day at Tokyo Disneyland. 2.5 hours in line for Haunted Mansion. Other than that is was OK. Disneyworld was a billion times better, but I was 12 at the time...
