Today I was at the grocery storeand I received this coin with my change.I found that it is a Bulgarian Stotinki!WTF how'd it get to central Illinois I have know idea. It's from 1951, is it worth anything moar than a few bucks at best? for now i'll just put it with my Yen and other foreign currency.
bump
I bet it came from Bulgaria.
>>77115obviouslybut to see it in central Illinois was quitea surprise.I haven't even seen a Euro or a peso or anything closeto what I might expect to make it around these parts.not Bulgaria. out of all the small obscure countries....
Google is your friend for old coin values, but I'd guess it's probably not worth a lot, since it's probably a common low-denomination coin.Closest I've ever come to that was being tipped in Renminbi (Communist Chinese bills) in the middle of Colorado.
A five minute stint on google showed me that it's not worth more that a few bucks, but you may want to do your own research to make sure.
Bulgarianfag here, those are out of circulation, and back in the days I guess that coin was worth about the same as 25 cents.Funny though, I had not seen one of those in a long time, and now, it's on 4chan, of all places.
>>77145yeah, a night of research revealed that I might as well just keep the damn thing for now>>77160they're not even in circulation anymore? that just makes this story even more interesting.
Commiecoins ain't worth shit anymore
That coins value is in the negatives, you are in debt just by having it. All hail the motherland!
