Goddamn, why are you visiting Omaha? What, do you live in Iowa or one of the Dakotas? ;p
Anyways...Well, there is the zoo, which is very nice. The Old Market is a nice place as well. There are several restaurants to choose from there, along with stores. If you go down to the Old Market, and your looking for record stores check out Homer's, Drastic Plastic, and The Antiquarium Record Store (be careful though, that place is ran by assholes). The Durham Western Heritage Museum is a nice place to visit as well - nice place to learn some of the history of Omaha. The Joslyn Art Museum is really nice as well.
All of these are located fairly close to downtown. There really isn't anything of great interest out west...Unless you like malls. In that case hit up West Roads and/or Oakview.
If you're looking to catch any concerts just visit onepercentproductions.com, there's always a show going on somewhere around here.
Some nice bars, if you're old enough, are: The Dubliner (in the Old Market) Mr. Toad's Pub (Old Market) Billy Frog's (Old Market and out west) The Slowdown (Downtown area)
Hope you have a fun time in Omaha.
