I'm considering packing up all my shit when I graduate college and moving to New York City, whether I find a job or not. Is this a good idea or am I going to get eaten alive?
>> Anonymous
Depends, where are you currently living?

Never live in NYC without previous employment history, it is beautiful when you visit, living there can be living in a toilet owned and used by the goatse guy.

There is nothing beautiful about NYC even if you are just visiting. It is always a shit hole in all parts. Otherwise the state of NY is pretty decent.

tips to living here
1 GET A JOB pizza in manhatten can cost like 4$
2 dont gawk at every fucking building and if you have to stare at the hole in the ground get out of the way of everone
3 dont actualy live anywhere in manhatten or downtown brooklyn they seem nice but its expensive and realy shity
4 get a bad attitude and lern to talk fast nice is weird here and the slow as fuck down south talk is not welcome here
5 living near the police is never a good idea
6 dont expect anything live-able for cheaper than 1.5k + 25 down
7 hospital wait time is close to an hour

other than this the city takes some getting use to
