Sup /trv/

Going to Egypt tonight. Sharm-el-Sheikh.
What are some good phone numbers to bring in case something happens? So far I have my bank and the number to call in case my credit card is stolen, so I can get it blocked. My travel agent is probably also a good idea. Suggestions, please.

why the fuck would you want to go to a place like that if you are already expecting your credit card to be stolen and are looking for other emergency measures?

Let me give you some advices...

Avoid the mob at the entrance to the Pyramid. They WILL scam your money off.

Don't drink their tab water, always bring a bottle of water by yourself.

They are not too aware of food hygiene, so inspect carefully, or avoid those road-side eating establishment. Eat at your hotel, or a known restaurant.

If you go now (these season), it will be scorching hot and there will be occasional sand storm. Check the local tourist guide. Or better yet, come in a cooler season around March-April. It's better.

Don't worry about language, though they mostly speak Arabic, they are willing to speak in English.

If you're a woman, please be discreet and cover your body.

And do trust me.
I've been there.
