West Aussie here, though Perth is a very nice city to live in, it's not very exciting or interesting. tourists should probably stick with the gold coast in Queensland, you can have a lot more fun there. there are good places to visit in West Australia, but most of the really awesome/unique ones are in the remote north half of the state and not easily reachable from the metro/regional areas.

>adelaide

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Stick to the east coast, especially Melbourne.

don't ask people who live in aus about aus, because they'll say their city is awesome, and all others are gay.

>is australia a good place to live
yes

>any tourist attraction?
depends on what you consider an attraction.

East coast state capital cities are your bigger cities so they got more shit to do. They're your tourist states/cities

Adelaide is smaller, and our water supply is the backwash that QLD, NSW and VIC don't use, but it's a nice place to live.

I have been to oz on business more times than I can count and I'll tell you that there is no where in the world, not one single other place, that is populated by such inbred, ugly, thick and ignorant people. Australia is pretty much living proof that you can create people by getting the devil to wank into a bucket of maggots on a hot day.

Fuck australia

Canadian here.

Don't go to Australia. If you thought Americans were arrogant and self-important, wait till you get a load of Australian arrogance and self-importance.

The difference: America is important. Australia is not.

I've heard its a bitch to move on down to Aussie-Land and New Zealand. But maybe one of you West Aussies can help me out with this.

I'm a born an bread Mid-Westerner that likes to be outside the city and loves open spaces where I can shoot at things. Can West Australia accommodate these wants?

'straya basically sells citizenship for $600000

I decided it wasn't worth it, and went on to enjoy my third world country.

Of course we're arrogant.

We're better than you.

Australian here. I've lived in Sydney and Adelaide and wouldn't especially recommend either of them. Adelaide is boring and Sydney is an immigrant clusterfuck with terrible transport. I've lived in rural places too and they range from boring to frightening. Apparently Melbourne is great, but I've never been.

I don't really see the attraction to live here (I'm about to leave myself), but I guess we have some nice tourist shit.

Oh, and Aussies don't like Americans or anyone from one of our major immigrant countries (it's a culture thing, not a race thing just FYI). You'd be welcomed with open arms otherwise though. Englishmen can expect to be the butt of the odd joke but it's just a game you're expected to play.

You aren't going to like Australian gun laws. (There's one exception: my uncle used to get contracts from the military for clearing kangaroos off of bases. Flying around in a helicopter shooting roos by the hundreds and getting paid to sleep sounds like an awesome job.)

'Off of' is a pathetic corruption used only by faggots.

Every word (or compound/phrasal coupling in this case) is a "corruption" of older/proto-English. In this case "offe" predates "off" so it could be argued that the monosyllabic "off" is the newer usage. Not that I necessarily subscribe to that view, but you obviously have no idea what you're talking about so let's just pretend I do.

I'd heard that Aussies were as onrey as us Amerifags but you're telling me that they're worse?

I find that hard to believe.
