I can't possibly imagine where else I could ask this, so I decided to pick here.I'm a writer and in order to write more effectively, you need to experience more and more, especially if you're trying to write about something you don't know about.I've been to France once, Paris with family, and I fell in love with the architecture and the style, and I wanted to write a story which uses a town styled after many French towns. So, what I was wondering how you would describe the architecture? What is it called? Is there any sites I could read more about it?

I think a lot of it is considered neoclassical, with strong baroque influence. Then again there are a lot of styles, you're better off just looking up Georges-Eugene Haussmann
