I plan to visit Norway in February as I'll have a few weeks of free time and it's on my mental list of 'places to visit.' I was wondering if you could give me some ideas on places to go, things to do and whatnot. I'm open to suggestions on what to do and money isn't really an issue.

Any help will be appreciated.

I went to norway for 2 weeks a while ago...and it sucked. But that's because I thought I'd go see museums and the scenery. All of those things are actually very nice, but it's cold and unpleasant half the time too. You can't see the fjords and stuff because the roads are usually blocked that time of year, so you're stuck with local prettiness.

There are some nice things, you get fresh air, go hiking, be cold, slip on ice, etc. My recommendation is just to party as much as you can though. Go club hopping, bar hopping, etc, say you're from vancouver or something.

The women in Norway are beautiful, tall, blonde, and plenty available. Even the gas station girls look like models. If you have money, even better. Make some norwegian friends, etc.

You'll have fun if you don't mind some downtime. Bring interesting stuff with you, btw, because all the store there are giant chain stores and there's hardly any interesting shopping to be done. If anything, stuff is more expensive.

Oh, and stay in Oslo, and you can travel from there. I don't recommend Bergen cause it's always rainy and mushy. Kristiansand is very nice, it's a college town so there's a hip young crowd there.

And there are some really good looking hookers in downtown oslo...fuckin' WOW
