Hey /trv/,

Trying to plan a short road trip with a few of my mates, living in FLorida, and going not more than 1000 miles out. I don't even know how to go about doing things. Would just going with the flow be the best idea? I at least need a destination. Ideas/assistance?

pic related, someone wants to go to brian,OH... don't ask.

I don't advise road tripping to Ohio. Boring.
Go to Texas or California something awesome. And yes, go with the flow. Use your brain. If you come across something new and foreign, just try go with the flow or if it's a problem, figure it out. Nothing is beyond your capabilities.

You could always go to Cleveland and go see the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame or go to Kings Island or Cedar Point....but they might be closed for the season. Ohio seems like a boring state.

Go to Washington DC or something.

If you dont have a particular destination and and are not in a rush then I suggest getting off the interstates as much as possible and cruising down some state roads. You always see way more exciting stuff than you would on the interstate. I've road tripped all across the country, and I'm even done most of that route you have planned out. (I live in Orlando, drove to Detroit via I75, and back along most of your route) it was really boring except for when I was in the mountains or Shenandoah valley.

tl;dr: wing it, get off the interstates
