I'm thinking of taking a trip from my home in Minnesota to Seattle this summer for PAX (in before bald and piglike) and Greyhound bus has been the most promising option thus far. (Friggin' impossible to find a train out there, and WAY cheaper than flying.) I'll probably go by myself, and I already love bus rides. Is there anything I need to know before traveling by Greyhound?

Did you say it's impossible to find a train to Seattle? Are you aware of Amtraks Empire Builder? It leaves from Minneapolis bound for Seattle every single day.

I had to travel by greyhound from St. Louis to Seattle once.

I thought it was pig disgusting.

Back of the bus smells like jenkem and it's full of fuckin lunatics. Always keep on eye on your shit. Severel people tried to weasel money out of me. Bring cash cause a lot of the little shitstain towns they stopped in didn't take credit. Maybe it was just me being used to flying all the time so I didn't really give it a chance. Hope it turns out better for you.

Holy bricks. It's like the same price as a bus ride and far less pig disgusting. You've saved me. :O

Greyhound travel is proof that the American Dream has always been a myth.
