How many of you have forgotten that Staten Island was one of the five boroughs, at least once in your lifetime?

I wouldn't object to daily napalm bombings of Staten Island.

I've never forgotten, as much as I'd like to.

I would prefer daily napalm bombings of Brooklyn. Brooklynites are the only ones from the five boroughs who thump their chests and yell brook-LYN like monkeys every time the subject of their shitty borough comes up. Like having a couple of nice blocks next to Manhattan (gee I wonder where that niceness trickled out of) makes up for hundreds of square miles of shit and hell.

At least Staten Islanders have the good sense to shut the fuck up about their island. Some of them even have a sense of humor about the place.

staten island is just italians...its so fucking annoying. like they think they are the shit for having empty fields.at least in brooklyn. you have a little of everyone.

How does it feel to be surrounded by New Jersey, and full of World Trade Center asbestos?

is it true that it's pretty much all industrial shit? Can a guy actually live there if he's not like, a plumber or something?
>> Anonymous
>>39761
the entire state of new jersey is full of more fail than Sao Pauolo. All those damn chemical plants in Linden and Elizabeth are responsible for our high cancer rates

>>39763
its not really industrial at all. Theres a giant forest in the middle of the island, and there are a few ports, but thats pretty much it. its mostly houses and alot of ppl commute to NJ or manhattan for work

That' a broad brush you are using. There are very nice places in New Jersey, largely the center and the shore at parts of Ocean and Monmouth county. I'm under no delusions, it isn't California or whatever, but it has very nice places.

And btw, I'm from New Jersey, Manasquan to be exact, and I now live in Sao Paulo. The failingness of SP is not to be rivaled anywhere on the planet, at least in NJ you can drive away from the bad parts. In Sao Paulo the bad parts have no end.

the state itself is fine, but the majority of stuff coming out of the place is just awful.
the guidos
the chemical plants
two failure governors
Trenton
Newark [purest heroin in the country]
the list goes on

The North part is alright, all the stereotypes come from the south shore, at least thats what the two cool kids I know from SI say

Plus Wu came from there
>> SI guy
the north part is awesome, most of the stereotypes come from mid-island and the south of the island

That MTV special on Staten Island, True life? 100% correct once you go below a certain street
