I'm travelling to Indianapolis from Hartford (CT) next month. Anything I should see along the way?

The highest point in New Jersey is a fun little stopover. You'll pass tight by it on your drive.

If you changed that route _slightly_ I think you'd have a better drive. First, dip down to southeastern Indiana and see Old Man's Cave. Very cool area there. Then, if you wanted to continue up through the Dayton area, there's Mendelson's Electronic Surplus in Dayton and Midwest Electronic Surplus in Fairborn. Both favorites of mine. Also in that area are Young's Dairy outside of Yellow Springs. YS is a fairly cool little town in general.

If you want to swing a bit more out of your way, the drive up I-79 through West Virginia has got to be my favorite so far in the US. I hate driving and would go out of my way to see it.

Old man's cave? What's it like? And nothing against West Virginia, but what's so special about it? ^^;;

Nothing really special about WV. The drive is very pretty though. Way better than going across OH. Also, really in the Yellow Springs, OH area there's a ton of shit to do. There's the Glen Helen nature preserve and lots of other parks nearby.
