Guys, I'm heading to Mexico City this sunday (DF). Any spots, tips, etc.? I don't have much time, and my free time will be on weekdays, so just give me the best to visit. What is the typical "postcard" place in DF?
Cheap and typical places to eat very much appreciated (don't give me no McDonald's crap).

Spanish is my native language, so that's not an issue. Also, where can I get a good hi-res city map to print? Specifically, I'll be in Colonia Juarez, sleeping in Paseo de la reforma Av.

I had/have quite a few Mexican friends and they've all told me Mexico is a real shithole.

I'd reccomend the area north of Mexico, where tourists never go and its still more or less the same Wild-west frontier its always been.

Bummer :(
On the plus side, I live in Argentina, so I know how shitty a shithole can get. It just so happens that I'm going there for working reasons, and won't be able to travel throughout the country.

Mexico City is full of all sorts of everything. I recommend taking a ride on the Turibus, which is also usually full of hot Eurochix.

Recommended visits: Museo Interactivo de la Economia, Palacio de Bellas Artes, Museo de Anthrolopia, The cafe in the Sears building next to to Bellas Artes (for the view, photo op, and good coffee), MUNAL, and the national history museum (I forget what its called). Also, Penthouse Club.
