So I pretend to work (in Information Technology) in Japan as a trainee for 1 year through AIESEC (if that matters). Is it possible with my actual conditions?

- I have that /v/irgin's stereotype. This may be a problem in terms of clothes for fat people.
- English is not my main language.
- No one close is supporting my decision.

I believe I can be and work anywhere, if I have access to Internet 24/7, so I can check what's happening with the world. I think anyone with this thought can succeed in his/her career.

If I'm advised not to go to japan, what are other good countries where one can work?

OP, I'm not getting you.. if you're going through AIESEC I guess you get a trainee visa as you mention.. that means living expenses (lodging, food) paid for and that's it, as far as I know. Are you happy with it? If yes, tell us why.

Regarding conditions: it's easy to find clothes for fatties, if nothing else, in hip-hop stores (just select non-flashy clothes). Seriously, it's not a problem. Your english seems decent enough, japs and indian/srilankan/filipino trainees you will meet will probably have much worse english (well, except for filipinos I guess). And no one close is supporting your decision, so what? It's your choice and of course they're gonna try to talk you out of making 'big steps', but it's not a big deal. If all else fails, just come back (be sure to have a return ticket secured). If you're in a college now, don't quit it, put it on hold.

Also, could you write a bit about what kind of deal did you get and how? I'd like to hear more.

How easily can an American tourist score japanese girls? I hear it's as easy as smiling nice, but that shit has to be blown out of proportion.

better place for info is the AIESEC site.

You pay for the plane ticket and the rest gets paid for itself.
