Dear /trv/,

I want to see the world, but I'm finishing up my degree in environmental science. My question to you is this: will a degree in this area find me work outside of this country, or is it pretty much worthless?

OP here.

Shit, should have inserted the name of a country somewhere in there. U.S.

Kind of. I mean there are jobs for environmental scientists elsewhere of course, but there are already too many locals with degrees in that field anyway. Maybe after a few years of experience you might have a chance.

lol, we can understand, default country = U.S.A.
also lurk job resources, every country has environmentalists
though, it isn't popular profession. it is better to be a locksmith or welder

Shitty as it is, I'm not absolutely hellbent on using my degree. I'm sure it'll get some use one of these days, but as long as I can travel, other things are secondary.

Protip: Should've double majored with a language. German or French would get you a job in the decent parts of Europe.
