>>39152 Well, I haven't declared yet, but I'm leaning towards a straight up "Chinese Language" Major, and if there's any other BA I can get that makes me more attractive as a teacher to Chinese schools, I might double major up to get that. I'd love to teach English in China and actually be good at it, but anything that would keep me over there sounds good. Which is why I'm lleaning towards the IES program in Beijing (anyone else studied through IES to any country?); as their dialect/accent is the standard, I think it'd be the best for my Chinese, although, like I said, I'd love to teach Engrish anywhere in China after a graduate. What about you? My school doesn't have anything as specific as "Sino-American relations", but your major sounds pretty interesting. Are you hoping to achieve eventual fluency in Mandarin?
