Holy fucking shit. I did both of those things when I was a little kid! I thought I was the only one, too. Wow.
>> Anonymous
holy fuck, same here
>> Anonymous
wow. what the hell is going on lol
me too...
>> Anonymous
theres a video game where you control a spaceship flying outside your car window, it uses a webcam that you point out the window and makes up obstacles that mimic the outside, like houses become walls and so on. looks awesome but cant be arsed to find it.
>> Anonymous
It's a relief to know someone else does this too. Sometimes I would stick my hand out the window and pretend it was a spaceship in a sidescroller, a lot like>>74772
>> Anonymous
Holy hell I did this too.
>> Anonymous
sup /v/?
>> Anonymous
Holy shit me to, and you know those little water drainage parts, where the ground is dug in a little beside the street, I pictured a guy on a ATV driving inside that and going off the sides like jumps.
>> Anonymous
I never did any of those things. C-C-COMBO BREAKER.
>> Anonymous
>>74767
>>74768
Did the same too.
Also i imagined a buggy, i loved to imagine the shock moving and the dust lifted.
>> Anonymous
I imagined a car that could transform in different things so it could bypass all the obstacles
haha
>> Anonymous
i used to imagine the millennium falcon was flying along side dodging obstacles.
>> Anonymous
I imagined (imagining?) a motocross driving outside the window avoiding stuff and jumping over stuff.

And sometimes I imagined it was a war or something outside and houses and stuff blowing up.
>> Anonymous
I used to imagine a ball going back and forth between the broken line in the center of the road. This got more challenging at higher speeds. Also, when there was one solid line and one broken line, I imagined the ball bouncing off the solid line in between the broken line.

I am now going to sage this thread.

Heh, sometimes he was a skateboarder. Thanks for reminding me OP. Genuinely.
>> Anonymous
I used to imagine I was playing a video game, and the objective was to shoot x number of a certain colored car in 5 minutes.

It was awesome
>> Anonymous
i would look at the telephone lines going up and down, up and down like a wave. I would imagine a guy on skis or a snow boardriding the waves and doing tricks
>> Anonymous
As a child I day-dreamed of grazing highway line markers. Now I graze bullets in Touhou.

Did this too but I didn't imagine a little guy, I've always had these little floating things in my vision and sometimes some of them look sort of like stick figures and I used them.

Off topic, that could be a retinal detachment, retinoschesis, or macular degeneration. You may want to get that checked out ASAP.
>> Anonymous
>>74847
Yeah I always assumed it was probably something horrible, but its been this way for as long as I can remember and I'm 22.
>> Anonymous
>>74846
I wonder if anyone else has it
>> Anonymous
>>74846
Whole life? Probably just floaters, it's normal.
>> Anonymous
>>74767
>>74768

wow I used to do this too (still do)... fucking trippy
>> Anonymous
>>74847
Bro don't use your scary words to describe the wonderful phenomenon of Floaters.
>> Anonymous
>>74816
Holy shit me too.
>> Anonymous
I played tony hawk on the n64 alot when I was a kid so I would always imagine a skater grinding on powerlines and kickflipping over ditches and shit like that.

Nostalgia ftw
>> Anonymous
>>74785
THIS

or I played theres a car.
>> Anonymous
it was sonic running/jumping etc. for me

sometimes it was metal who chopped down trees instead of jumping above them.
>> Anonymous
I just sleep.
>> Anonymous
>>74938
It was sonichu for me!
>> Anonymous
>>74864

Holy crap me too. He'd always be grinding the fuck out of the soundwalls on the sides of freeways.
>> Anonymous
What's with "I did this when I was a kid" or "i used to do this"? I'm a grown man and I still do this shit.
>> Anonymous
Wow, I did this all the time.

...I still do.
>> Anonymous of Dallas
>>74768
>>74767
FFFFFFFFFF me too
>> Anonymous
I do that if I'm not driving...
>> Anonymous
The guy had some fucking jumping skills. Also, if he couldn't pass by something and got stuck, the "screen" would compress him against the walls and he would die. Fucking Super Mario World scrolling stages.
>> Anonymous
>>74993
Same here, but only if I'm in the passenger seat. When I was a kid, whenever we were about to drive under an overpass, my brother and I would pretend it would decapitate us if we didn't duck.
>> Anonymous
i... i did that to....
>> Anonymous
ITT we're not all as unique as we thought.

>>74943
GET THE FUCK OFF
>> Anonymous
FUCK ME, i thought i was the only one, i always did this, but the man was wolverine, and he was cutting down fence posts and telephone poles in addition to the dodging of obstacles
>> Anonymous
yes yes i used to do this all the time. and the wind screen wipers except i wanted them to dodge the poles in the motorway.

I wonder if a generation NOT brought up on sidescrolling platform games will do the same thing though?
>> Anonymous
I did the exact same thing.

>>74864
This also.

>>77439
I was brought up on Super Mario 64 and Pokemon, mainly, not side scrollers. Except a Megaman game, but I never did get anywhere in that fucker.
>> Anonymous
>>77448
Now I keep a copy of Top Gear magazine in the car at all times, looking up the prices of the makes and models of cars I see whenever I'm the passenger.
>> Anonymous

please tell me someone else did this when they were young. if you did it all, you could send of for a badge.
>> Anonymous
Holy crap, I did this too!

Except that I would make a little man out of my hand (two fingers would form the legs pointing down) and hold it at the right distance to make it look proportioned to all the shit whizzing by.
>> Anonymous
>>74767

LOL

same thing
>> Anonymous
I did this too! In my case, the little man was an athlete, and he could swing from lantern posts and stuff.
>> Anonymous
     File :-(, x)
>>74767

Oh my gosh, I thought I was the only one who did this >.>

Except I did mine with Pikachu. Yes. Pikachu. Sometimes other pokemon >_>
>> Anonymous
     File :-(, x)
Oh wow. The people who never did this sure are weird. The ones who keep doing this also are... which would make me a weirdo... Anyways, the character I always imagined was Kirby... I probably thought he could be anything, so the trip would be more interesting this way...
>> Anonymous
>>74768
hahaha I did that too hahaha

I still do now and sometimes when I'm waiting for the train I imagine there's a blade cutting trough the whole train horizontally.

I also pretend on road trips that there's this magical blade I or Crono from Chrono Trigger has which makes me or him fly next to the car >_>
>> Anonymous
>>74767
I started with Sonic the Hedgehog. Later I had slightly cooler things like Imperial Speeders flying along side after I saw Return of the Jedi.
>> Anonymous
>>77585
Sonic is probably the most suitable character for this.
>> Anonymous
>>74767

Wow.

Did that too.
