also does anyone else just love being in airports, especially when they are busy. I even like layovers. As long as I know wtf is going on I really enjoy it.
>> Anonymous
I fucking hate airports especially in the US.

Orlando International airport.

Is that the airport in Japan?
>> kuzukuzu
>>79481

That's Auckland...

Hong Kong is by far the best, nothing even comes close to how frikken awesome it is.
>> kuzukuzu
>>79500

Actually, that might be somewhere else, similar layout to Auckland though.

It's in Rio de Janeiro
>santosdumont.jpg

For me it'd have to be either Beijing's Terminal 3 or Singapore's Changi Airport

It doesn't look like Auckland to me, but it was dark when I flew in, so I couldn't get too good of a look.

I like Detroit for some weird reason.
Shitty city though, obviously.
>> Anonymous
Osaka-Kansai probably.

Maybe because I spent the LEAST time there, plus it's like...an island and shit.

I fucking hate Heathrow.
>> Anonymous
Kansai International.

It's a fucking man-made island
>> Anonymous
O'Hare... it's interesting to walk though
>> Anonymous
Denver, and luckily its my home airport
>> Anonymous
Salt Lake City
>> Anonymous
I like O'Hare... London Gatwick was okay,
also DENVER
>> Anonymous
Kansai or San Francisco.

Philadelphia was fucking sweet last time I was there, but that was like fifteen years ago and I was probably just amazed at the automatic faucets in the bathrooms and whatnot.

Another one I like for some reason is Ontario, in California. I haven't flown out of there after 2001, but before then it seemed like a pretty chill airport.

You know what's a terrible airport? SeaTac in Washington.

I'm really partial to SFO since I live in the bay area. I actually live nearer to San Jose's airport, but it's such a barren place, it really is only good for getting out of there.

I could spend the night at SFO, I wouldn't be distraught if a flight got canceled or postponed.

Though SeaTac isn't bad. I've only had good experiences with them, so I can't say how accommodating it is when I'm stuck there. I've honestly never been inside that place for longer than an hour at a time... Same with O'Hare, Dallas Fort Worth and Heathrow.

Oh actually I've spent some time at DFW... That place is absolutely great if you don't mind at all when shit falls apart. There was a massive shitstorm a while ago and DFW went down. Michael Jackson might as well have taken a jet to every traffic control tower in the nation and sodomized the head coordinators, for all the trauma it put the system through.

Pic is related to Dallas's airport. I thought it was nice, pretty tongue in cheek.

Why is SeaTac so bad? I was the guy who posted right after you... I've only been there for like an hour at a time, and the one time that shit happened, I was buying a last-minute ticket and all they did was flag me for a search (no invasive stuff though, thank god).

Yeah me too. It probably has to do with the fact that whenever I'm at an airport, I'm going on holiday, which is happy times.

>>79966

Me too. Last time I was there it took me 15 minutes to get from the train to past security.

Goddamn I am a samefag.

Kansai just for the landing. It's fucking crazy.

O'Hare for the underground tunnel with the neon lights. That shit is awesome to watch.

Amsterdam's Schiphol was great in terms of amenities and organization and the like. From a purely aesthetic standpoint, Toronto's Pearson is probably the best I've been in.

PDX - Portland, Oregon. I don't mind having a layover there. Never seems too loud or annoying like other airports, and free internet. Only airport in America I've seen with absolutely free internet.

Reagan International, Washington D.C. (sorta). I never had to leave the airport to get to the train, which was able to get me to all the good parts of said city and then some.

Houston's George Bush Intercontinental has a NASA store and vending machines wif iPods, though...

Phoenix: Nicely designed, clean, free internet

San Fransico: Pretty and great food. When you take/off land the descent is all water until the very end where you touch down. Very nice :3
Airports I hate:

Houston, LAX

Agreed, it is certainly a far cry compared to the old Kai Tak airport ... though the Kai Tak's 13 Approach is quite mind blowing (I lived in HK before I moved, and I can see the planes pretty close since I lived closed to the Kai Tak)
