Estonia thread. Time for some more alternative countries to be discussed.

Who has been here? I live here. As an expat Australian.

Actually, in my experience more Australians come here than anyone else (apart from British weekenders).

So, what do you think, /trv/?

Yes, the women are beautiful.

It's taken over very easily in hoi2. you usually don't even have to fight for it they just give in.

Fucking cold, they speak some kind of finnish-like language, frigid and introvert people.
But I guess women cost less there than in Finland.

Oh, it is Olav's. For some reason I thought it might be somewhere else. Don't ask why.

The roof is closed now, by the way. Also, that staircase is a bitch.

I couldn't go there, I would think that somewhere Doom would resided, and would believe all the people to be his subjects.

true

that's why I WILL NEVER VISIT THERE

Come on, it's obvious Latveria is a shitty inspiration from Latvia (Estonia's southern neighbour).

Unless you mean some kind of different Doom...
>> Anonymous
Latveria is actually inspired by Liechtenstein.

But Liechtenstein sucks even more than Estonia.

Estonia doesn't suck. :(

I've been to Estonia, Tallinn specifically, and it reminded me of a quainter version of Belarus, where I was born. Right now I live in Los Angeles but I'd love to live in Estonia for a bit, because it really is a rather beautiful place.

And you seem displeased buy that.
Do you have any grudge against Estonians?

>quainter version of Belarus
you must be kidding, tallinn isn't built up from 0 by the soviets like minsk is. Also people's mentality is totally different and so is the quality of life. when was the last time you visited tallinn? mid 90-s?

been there, it was nice

friendly people, nice old cities, but not that spectacular of a country

women from helsinki were cuter tbh :p

I worked on a radio station with an Estonian. She was very attractive! And always spoke well of the place
>> Anonymous
I'm from Finland, so Estonia isn't an alternative country for me..

Anyway, the cheap alcohol aside, the old parts of the city are intresting, as studying European medieval history is one of my hobbies. A couple of years ago I even got to visit one of the old houses, the owner of the house kept it as an apartment hotel. Also, torturing museum is great!

I think Estonia is a pretty cool guy. eh has the largest amount of atheists in the world and doesn't afraid of anything.

As a Winlandfag, I'll have to say that I've planned on moving to Estonia for a while now. Ultra-capitalist, so a well-trained individual would have chances to make it there. Also, as a side effect of said capitalism, the playgrounds for the loaded are top of the world. Just try the more exclusive restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

Oh, sorry, I forgot. You're not members. Ha-ha!
>> Anonymous
I visited there once, yeah, one finfag more. If you can speak finnish you can speak estonian and the other way round.
