Has anyone here heard about "foosers" or "foosters"?I was on the train the other day and I noticed that this guy had passed my seat going in the same direction around five times (it was a double decker, Pacific Surfliner track). I asked the person sitting next to be about it and she said "yeah that's kinda weird"A conducter overheard us and said "Yeah, that's Max, he's what we call a fooser. They're folks that are obsessed with riding trains and Max lives over in Moorpark (near LA) and takes a roundtrip to San Diego almost everyday. He's always talking to us trainfolk about how trains work and different models as if we're just as interested in trains as he is but honestly I don't even want to see a train on my days off. I drive or take the plane for vacations even if it takes longer or is more expensive"The lingo might be different for different places
Sounds like someone from /n/.
why dont these guys just get a job at the railway company?

>>18651Or why /an/ doesn't yiff in hell.
>>16912In response to OP, I can't say I've heard of that particular term, but yes there are completely obsessive people for every subject. Go visit a model train convention, you will find gawd-awful loads of 'foosers' there.
>>18612I did. Then I almost died of pnumonia. Then being on antibiotics for six weeks eliminated my immune system. Now I'm home after six months of being constantly sick.
