So, /trv/lers, how do you /trv/? 1st class or economy? I've never flown 1st class, but by some ticket office weirdness i got to go from Paris to Amsterdam on the Thalys on 1st class, and i have to say it was pretty awesome.

Do you find the extra comfort and complementary food and stuff worth the extra money?

the fuck I know, I always fly economy.

I too was in first class by chance (comp b/c of their mistake). By god... it's a whole other world. They treat you like humans.

I've flown first class once, in a weird situation like yours.

Well, it was nice, but not worth it. Even if I was infinitely rich I wouldn't do it, it's a shitty plane ride anyway. I once considered getting business class on my trip back to yurop from merika, but again ultimately decided that 10 hours of butt-ache was well worth the money I saved.

Economy.

I fly proletarian

Regular first classer here. (I'm not THAT rich, just upgrade from frequent fliers often.)

It's not really worth it unless the flight is over 4 hours.

I've never flown to Asia before, but I would love to try a flat bed!

Boat. Screw planes, I prefer a bed.

How much more does first class normally cost than economy? The one time I quoted it, it was on the order of ten times the price, which I found difficult to justify.

I fly my own plane

Came to Canada on a boat (yes, I actually did), but when I travel it's usually economy class. I'm going to Australia next year on business class though, which should be pretty awesome.
