Me and my friends just came back from a travel to Rhodos in Greece. We where in the city of Rhodos, and as always when you are in big party cities in the Mediterranean. You'll find tons of swedes, britts, finnish people, norweigen people and one or two deutch people. Just look at Ibiza, Ayia napa, Sunny Beach, Alanya etc. It's always like that.

So to my question. Where do the Americans travel to take their vaccations?

I thought to myself they maybe travel to asia. But no.. There the northerners also have taken over. So where do you Americans take your vaccation?

A lot of Americans don't have passports because "MURKA IS BEST, USA! USA! USA!". The ones who travel go to places like France, UK, Canada. Certainly not "unknown" islands belonging to nations like Greece. The ones who would travel there are a definite minority.

Florida, Hawaii, and if they're feeling adventurous, Mexico or somewhere in the Caribbean.

Don't forget the geographical size of the United States. To a lot of Americans, traveling between states is like going to another country.

That is sadly true. I would imagine 85% of Americans would not know.

Here's one, why should we?

They have better places for vacation in their own country. Most of them come to Europe either to explore the roots of their ancestors or to get some cultural experience.

Most Americans will stay in their own country/state, depending on where they're located. Being in California, most people go to LA/Disneyland or San Francisco, or a national park. The most common country that Californians will go to is Mexico, for obvious reasons. I imagine people close to Canada might go there, but I dunno.

Cause history and culture is interesting? That mostly the reason I know stuff aboyt places no one gives a shit about.

Many stay in the country, and travel to places like Florida and California. Those who do leave the country typically go to Mexico or somewhere in the Caribbean.

what are you, stupid? It's expensive as fuck for Americans to travel outside of the country. Unlike Europeans, we don't have the luxury of being able to go to France or Germany for the weekend by train for cheap.

The Americans without passports would kill for the opportunity to travel abroad, it's not an elitist thing. You're just a pompous dipshit.

I'm British and I love going away every year to Rhodes and other Greek/Mediteranean Islands to get paralytic drunk on English beer, eat nothing but full English breakfasts, get into fights, abuse the locals, and have sex in public.

Brits abroad are an utter embarrasment to our country. And I am no exception

At least you're not Russian.

And I admit it's fun to watch drunk Brits fall and injure themselves. Just follow the trail of blood!

Why don't you do that shit at home? You would spare the flight costs.
