Travelling the world Anonymous
Yo /trv/.

I'm still deciding what to do with my life, and am in my final year of college (English). I intend on going to university, and then after that going abroad. Specifically, to teach English as a foreign language (for which I would need to complete a TEFL course). So, where would /trv/ recommend? I'd of course have to learn the cultures of the countries I intend on working and living in for the early adult years of my life, along with some languages.
Pic very related, it's where I plan to go at some point.

Tell me the country and I'll prolly tell you tons of places that are nice to visit. Seriously, it totally depends on what you like. Person that loves nature usually will like other things that person that is interested in medevial architecture, or person who has etnographical interests. Since you mentioned you'd like to learn cultures and you want to go to russia, I'd HIGHLY recommend going to shamanistic people of Siberia and Tunguska (with Ewenks being most characteristic). Though you have to be ready to go off main routes to do that.

While I enjoy nature, I much prefer history and culture. Russia is a dead cert for a country I want to experience, I'm not about others. Asia seems interesting, though. I'm not fussed about not being in conventional areas, as it were, I intend on living as if I was a proper part of that culture, opposed to an English girl wanting to see a bit of the world while she has spare time.
