Okay, /jp/ got upset about it...

So, /trv/, I ask you this: I'm in Hakodate and I don't speak or read Japanese. I've only got a day before heading on down to Tokyo, where I'll be spending nearly a week. What do I do?

Before the questions come up, I'm going on the trip because I'm not paying for it and some old family friends invited me along on their grand tour of Sapporo, Otaru, Naboribetsu, Hakodate, and Tokyo. They don't read or speak Japanese either, and are making up plans on the fly. They're stinking rich, though, so they don't care.

Enjoy Tokyo's world class French cuisine.

I'm not joking.

Righteous, will do. Not quite certain how that sort of thing ended up so popular in Tokyo, but hey...

Anything in Hakodate? Otherwise I'm just going to aimlessly amble through the streets until I get lost.

There is nothing in Hakodate, it's just a bumpkin port city.
