/b/ritfag here, planning a holiday in mid-November. Here are some specifications:

1) Cheap. Cheap as fuck. I don't have many requirements but cheapness is absolutely vital.
2) I would prefer to go to Spain because I know the country quite well but really 1) overrides this dramatically.
3) 7-10 days, absolutely no more than 10.
4) Don't get me wrong, I love good weather, but there really is a such thing as 'too much'. I don't want scorching hot weather. I know we're talking about November here but I understand that it's still common to find this kind of weather abroad in November. I'm looking for a similar climate to British summertime.
5) Mostly English-speaking resort if possible please. I don't want to be surrounded by ignorant Germans/Dutchies. I can't stand tourists like this from other countries, they tend to be very ignorant and abusive. This is not a generalization/troll attempt, just something that I have come to find in my previous travels.
6) 'Activities' aren't vital, I just need somewhere with a beach and a few bars. Like I said, there aren't many requirements, I just need to get away for a while and chill the fuck out.

I know the kind of places I'm thinking of, but I'm not specifying because I'm more interested in specific good deals than can be found. Muchos gracias /trv/.

what is your budget?

do you have to pay the full train/airline fare?

Ok well here's what I can think of for all of these points:

>1) Cheap. Cheap as fuck. I don't have many requirements but cheapness is absolutely vital.
I'd say choose an airline such as ryanair (even though they are shit) to fly with as they're so damn cheap. This should help you with hotel fares and food, etc.

>2) I would prefer to go to Spain because I know the country quite well but really
Funny, I was thinking of something along the lines of this (for the heat) but I don't know how expensive it would be.

>3) 7-10 days, absolutely no more than 10.
Can't really comment on this, it's your choice. Less days = cheaper holiday.

>4) Don't get me wrong, I love good weather, but there really is a such thing as 'too much'. I don't want scorching hot weather.
Well I'd recommend...
> I'm looking for a similar climate to British summertime.
Oh ok. Well I was going to say Malta... it's not too hot, not too cold. It's about 19-24 degrees at this time. The UV Index is quite high in that area but due to the winds you will never be too hot. Although it can be expensive. Ryanair does fly there for fuck-all though, as do many budget hosts.

>5) Mostly English-speaking resort if possible please.
Not a problem in Malta, English is an official language and everyone speaks it. Everyone. Without exception.

>6) I just need somewhere with a beach and a few bars. Like I said, there aren't many requirements, I just need to get away for a while and chill the fuck out.
Again, Malta has these things. The islands of Malta are small so you can get around to each place easily. It's also a great place to just relax and get a tan.

There are a lot more choices than Malta, of course, and I'm just speaking from experience on a lot of those. Good luck.

Turkey is beautiful I hear. Don't know much else about it though.

It it just you going? Most package holidays/hotels will charge you extra for that.

I got a late deal to the Algarve a few years back from MyTravel for £76 per person last minute (days before). Nice 4 star hotel, flight was shit but got us there.

I imagine that there's lots of package holiday companies that are desparate for some cash at the moment, I would hit the travel agents and haggle.
