I am looking for interesting geological formations in Ireland, im tired of seeing cities and towns, can any of you recommend anything worth seeing that is natural?

I done the ring of kerry a few times when i was younger and its probably got the best scenery in the country. theres also an awesome beach at the end of it, in dingle i think.

connemara is interesting too, but kinda fucked up, and valentia island is nice.

Dear fuck /trv/, how can no one have mentioned the Giant's Causeway yet?

Glenveagh park in Donegal is also worth seeing, it's a great example of the scenery you get there, and the castle and grounds are good in their own right, and impressive given their surroundings. Chinese ferns growing around Balinese statues against the background of a spectacular Irish lough? Yes please.

Geologically it's also of interest as it's the continuation of a rift valley that stretches right along the Scottish mountains and down across Donegal.
