Hey, can any1 explain how the Euro is backed? I don't know too much about international currency, but i'd like to.

Most currencies are backed by nothing but supply and demand. Governments actually sell and buy other currencies on the market. Central bank shenanigans effect the rate as well. As far as I know, the Euro is like the dollar and the yen.
