to those anons who have been to many places already, is living somewhere else over-rated like "the grass is always greener on the other side"?

yes.
everywhere you go ends up disappointingly similar if you stay there long enough.

Well, not necessarily similar. Just shitty in their own way.

Every place has its own pros and cons, so you will never find a paradise by moving from one place to another.
However, nothing matches the experience of being in a brand new place. It feels so fresh and new, its hard to explain. When you are in a new place, there are no ghosts from the past, nobody knows you and you know nobody. Its a really good feeling of freedom you get. The best part is being away from your family. Of course everyone loves theirs, but in the end of the day all they bring is trouble and interference in your life.

That place is in Turkey.

The grass is always greener whenever you stay in place. I imagine someone always on the move always enjoys where he is.

Fuck no. Sometimes, it's economically beneficial for you to live somewhere else.

For about 6 months, most places are great.

After a while you get tired of not being a local. and you start to understand what a bunch of idiots most people are.
