If you're not American. Talk about your homeland.

I am from Colombia, moved here when I was like 13. I miss Bogota and haven't been there in 10 years. Things have changed.

I'm from Canada. We're like America only somewhat less crazy. Actually, technically speaking, Canada is in North America, so it's... sort of American. But I would never call myself American, so whatever, fuck off. Mexico's "American" too.

It's -28 degrees celsius outside. Come during fall or don't come at all (COPYRIGHT ME, DON'T STEAL IT)

New Zealand.

Yeah - something like that.

I live on the east coast of Canada. We don't have the economy to stand on our own, our only exports are fish and coal, and everybody is leaving to get work out west, since over there they don't treat workers like bags of shit in terms of pay. It's always raining, hailing, or snowing, just one of those things at random regardless of temperature or season.
Don't ever come here except for the seafood.
also if quebec actually manages to secede we'll have no physical connection to the rest of Canada. I'm leaving in 2 months anyway so I could give a fuck.

I live in southwest Saskatchewan, in western Canada. Our weather is complete fucking shit. Way too hot in the summer, I mean 40 degrees Celsius or more. In the winter, expect frequent blizzards and hailstorms that kill small animals. The roads are complete shit because the Conservative government won't pay for fuck all. The only 2 real cities, Regina and Saskatoon (my hometown) are filled with racial violence and high crime.

On the positive side, we hate French Canada. The jobs here can pay a lot if you work at a manufacturing plant or on the rigs. In northern Saskatchewan there are diamond rigs that pay huge money.

Stay the fuck outta here.

Oh, I forgot to mention the temperature. high 30s in the summer while wallpaper-peelingly humid, -20s and frequent blizzards in the winter while the air is so dry that sensitive people get nose bleeds.

I'm Malaysian. Decent standards of living around the capital, Kuala Lumpur, and other larger towns around the West Coast, but pretty much shit everywhere else. Horrible heat all year round, shitty government, infrastructure, education, dirty cities and everything else. If you're not a local you might find the food here decent.

Sounds like southwest Saskatchewan. Not the temperatures. But we are all either alcoholics or stoners. Anyone who isn't is over 65 years old. Kids start drinking at 5-10 years old sometimes.

Indonesia.
The weather was never good, but now it just keeps raining and flooding.
Pollution due to too much people being a lazy ass.
The people here aren't that terrible, but they're not exactly polite either.
At night, there are a lot of bad things that can happen to you.

Bali is the only place you should visit, any other place in Indonesia will just ruin you.
Why do I hate my own country so much?

I've lived in Paris for 20 years, then I moved a few years ago to the Riviera, in a small city between St. Tropez and Cannes that isn't too much of a trashy tourist trap.
I really don't miss Paris. People there were assholes and there were way too many of them all over the damn place. I feel as if I moved to a different country.
I have to go to Paris about twice a year (by TGV, which is awesome, because you really don't want to have a car in Paris) and every I go back to the South I'm glad I moved.

Stockholm, Sweden. I like it here, people aren't that fucked up and the climate's modest (it's 2 celcius right now). But this is pretty much the only place to be if you live in Sweden, the rest is like the hinterland.

A'kum Malayfag- unless you're non-Muslim, in which case, apa khabo, brader!

Anyway, I'd have to disagree on the weather part; I LIKE the heat, and quite frankly I try to stay out of visiting colder climes unless it's during the summer.

Props to the govt. being a load of idiots, though; case in point, their handling of the police force more for quelling demonstrations than actual policing.

Foodwise, i can think of no better place, though I have to say that the food can get rather too spicy if you're not used to it. Try satay, nasi ayam (chicken rice) or even plain ol' cendol, which is shredded ice topped with fruit juices and/or confectionary liquids like condensed milk. What can I say, we Malays do simple food very well.

Limerick, Ireland. Weather is mostly shit all year round - only sunny when you don't really want it to be. 10C now.

Lots of nice bars and restaurants and stuff in town. Loads of historical attractions like castles and shit around here too if you're into that sort of thing.

In the past 5 years or so the suburbs have been overrun with too many hotels, shopping centres and retail parks that we don't really need. There's retail parks built over 2 years ago still with many vacant buildings, and they're building more of the fuckers!

Traffic and public transport is shit thanks to decades of useless governments. Drug/gun related crime is on the rise but any city is gonna have that kind of stuff in dodgy areas.

Largest employer here is Dell - I guess we learnt nothing from kicking all the jews out of town back in the 1900s LOL

Sydney, Australia.

I only liked living in the inner-west. The rest of Sydney is pretty average, really. Boring and what not.

The weather is usually good, if a bit too hot for my taste.

Sure, the harbour and bridge look really cool but that's in the middle of the tourist strip, so only rich pricks and foreigners ever go there. Circular Quay isn't too bad but it's also very pricey.

The red light district around surrounds is probably the most interesting part of eastern Sydney.

The city itself is spread out. Really, really spread out. The outer communities are more like their own little towns.

The population is really international and so is the attitude of the city. It's not a culture-producing city but it doesn't really matter to the people living there (compared to Melbourne, for example).

And archipelago nation located in south east asia. Consists of more than 17,000 islands
Capital city: Jakarta.
Corruption is the biggest problem in this country.
Lots of beautiful places.. The most famous one is Bali (yes!! Bali is part of Indonesia) and then Lombok, we have lots of tourism objects and sites (I can't name them all, it's too many).
We have Orangutan, paradise birds and lots of unique species.
Please help us save the orangutan in borneo... bastards are chopping down the trees in borneo and killing orangutans because they're considered pests.

Pic is the Uluwatu temple in bali... where the monkeys stole my friggin' glasses.

everything's so..i dunno, generic. plastic. all the shopping places like Bugis street have become modernized and not as authentic as I remembered. When you've seen one Nike outlet, you've seen it all.

Tønsberg, Norway.

I wish it would be colder here, we've had less than seven days of snow this winter, and the summers are sometimes almost unbearable imo.

It might be a boring place, but I can't think of any other place I'd rather live in.
