I'm looking for recommendations on good backpacking spots in northern California. I really don't know where to start, so if you could tell me of some places you've been to that would help. I would prefer somewhere that isn't too crowded.
fuck you, troll.
>>76631>>76631Fuck you, I like backpacking but only did it once, and close to home, and want to get back into it. I'm simply asking for the names of a couple of good places. Original pic unrelated, by the way.
come on, guys
check out couchsurfing.comthere are groups based around regions/states/etc... could ask around there i am sure.
>>76645backpacking in the sense I am using is like camping, but you bring large backpacks meant for it and bring food and water out with you so you can travel far from camp on or off trails. not like hitchhiking or something. saging my own thread.
DISNEY LAND. when it closes get as many hobos as you can and have a fellow ship at disney land find the one ring of power man.
Where in Nor Cal are you based? The Lost Coast is a trail everyone has to do once, and if you are from Sac or the bay area I highly reccomend Desolation Wilderness. Because of the altitude there, it has a relatively short season, but all of the trails I have been on are awesome and difficult enough to feel like you accomplished something.
>>76672Thanks for the recommendations. I'll check those out. Northern Marin county, by the way.
