Serious survey...

You're in a foreign country.

You don't know the language.

You're in public when some native tries to initiate conversation with you.

What do you /trv/elers here do?

A) Say the phrase in the person's language you memorized that means "Sorry, I don't speak this language"

B) Stare at them with a blank look, maybe with your jaw open, until they go away or get angry at you.

C) "I ONLY SPEAK ENGLISH. CAN YOU SPEAK ENGLISH? SPEAK ENGLISH."

A. It helps to be polite. Assholes are despised universally.

Um, you smile at them untill they stop talking, then you reply in English, something like "Ha, I'm not really from here"

D) take out your dick and jerk off till the either join in or leave

"I'm sorry, I don't speak _______" in a polite voice.

Most people will recognize the English word for their language, and if not, it will quickly become clear that you are a foreign language speaker, but you will still be answering with politeness, assuming you don't have some dipshit angry voice. Any other answer is a troll.

Why the hell would I go somewhere if I don't know the language?

GTFO, "travel for the experience" fag

Il just try A, if it fails, I just try to make them understand that I have no idea what are they talking about. (ie. Look like a complete idiot.)

in these posts tools who obviously don't do what they preach.
I have spent years learning French, Spanish, Czech (Slavic works in a wide area of eastern europe), and Thai and that has been all I need to talk to anyone anywhere in the world. If you don't travel for experience what the fuck are you doing?
