I have two stories.
I had a "touch and go" arriving in SLC, wicked wind sheer. The pilot was unable to get the plane down until we were almost across the runway, so just as the gear touched, he bailed on it and jacked up the throttle, and we took off again... We went into a 45 minute holding pattern, then landed without anything interesting happening. He explained what was happening over the PA, so we were not too freaked out....Pucker factor: 6/10.
Another time, on approach to Vegas one summer afternoon, we had so much turbulence one time, about half the chicks on the flight were crying..Totally freaked out. When we landed, we hit so hard, I swear to god I thought the gear was going to give out and we were fucked. Pucker factor 8/10
I fly about 15-20 times a year, and these were the absolute worst ones.
