How badly do you have to fuck up to have your passport revoked by your country?

Pic related, still valid despite juvie court for vandalism in US.

Blow something up.

Why do you have to waive citizenship?

Threaten to blow something up.

High Treason would do it.

Apart from that you'd have to do something so foul they wouldn't want to acknowledge your existence. Most citizens still keep their citizenship even if they murder people in another country or blow stuff up.

When you harm others, the countries you belong to should take responsibility for that. When you harm your own countries, they'll try to catch you so they never let you be a foreigner.

Just wait for some time. Japan doesn't allow double citizenship so you can waive your Japanese citizenship if you're 22+. In fact, you'll get a letter from Japan's Minister of Justice asking which country you choose if you keep double citizenship until you're 22.

Citizenship is really hard to lose, you really really really really really really really have to try.

OP asked about PASSPORT, not CITIZENSHIP.

They take your passport only under a court order. The court will only take it off you if you've been charged with serious crimes and they think there's a serious chance you might try to leave the country.

So you'd better get defrauding some Fortune 500s.

I've got two suitcases and a carryon. I need to pack for one year overseas. Roughly two weeks worth of clothes and some extra room for souveniers and the like on the return.

Any packing advice or tips?
