Hey /trv/First time posting on this particular board.I just wondered if you guys could help me. I'm going to Australia in April but my route isn't entirely finalised yet. I will be spending most of my time in Brisbane, but I'm also interested in seeing Perth. What's Perth like? Is it very touristy? Things to do, etc?On the same topic, Brisbane will be fun..right?Cheers.
The Cities worth going to in Australia are Brisbane, Melbourne, probably Perth (though I haven't been there personally), and perhaps Sydney (if you have something planned out there)
I heard Sydney was a bit crap, actually.
>>52477hence why I said "if you have something planned out there"it's not that good if you don't.
shameful bump..
>>52459Melbourne in spring (August to December) is awesome.Perth in high summer (December to March) is not pleasant unless you are a beach person. However, the locals think it's perfect.
Stay away from Perth...I couldnt, now its kicking me in the butts twenty times a day.
>>52684Perth is suffering from the effects of the resources boom.Jobs are plentiful and well-paid. Housing is scarce. Very scarce. In fact people on good salaries are living in tents and caravans. And paying through the nose for the privilege.
