Yes they're taqxed, and no, no software will ever help you.
To learn swedish, you need someone who speaks swedish, who will speak swedish with you.
Heck, you could do it over IRC or Skype if you really wanted to. Learning grammar shouldn't be very hard, it's mostly pronounciations, words, and how to form up your sentences that you'll need help with.
And for those who are in denial about rosetta: It'll most likely tell you shit that is either horribly mangled, or you'll say it in such a way that everyone around you will just facepalm and talk to you in english.
If you ever go to Sweden, as a tourist, don't bother trying to speak swedish, unless you're interested in pidgin words, like how to ask someone where the washrooms are, or something. The same goes for everywhere else; it makes you seem like you care and helps you get around.
