Fuck Rachel Ray and her promotion of mindless consumerism. Now watch my cable show and listen to me wax poetic about the virtues of subsistence farming in Namibia before i fly first class back to my NY apartment, then grab some chateaubriand and a $200 bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon.

Got wasted on bootleg absinthe in New Orleans with Bordain in October. Fucking funny guy, but needs to get a better bunch of flunkys. They spent three hours trying to get him not to drink, since he had to get on a plane in the morning.

Quote of the night "I'm not the fucking pilot. gimmme that glass and lets see who dies first!"

Granted, I have yet to drink even half that much since then. But such is the magic of this town. And having chef friends.

The DVDs do have English subtitles but I don't know if they do any justice to Riku's crazy antics.

You inspired me to download the Vegas episode where he does a little Fear and Loathing bit.
The quality is so choppy I should just buy it on DVD.
