ok ok, let me get this straight, the program is basically to expand your Spanish skills am I correct?
If that's the case, then choosing any non-Spanish speaking country will be an epic fail, common sense my friend, how are you gonna practise the language if you're in Japan or Germany?
It's not only the language but your main interests as well, you wanna live on a tight budget but experience some cool country? then go to Spain, it will be worth it, BUT if what you want is to master your Spanish skills, then go to Mexico.... Trust me it has some awesome places that are actually very lively and SAFE.
Take this advice from a Trilingual beaner (yes some of us do speak English and NO I'm not in your country)
