Hi,
I've got $2000 to my name and I'm absolutely sick of this country. Where should I go?
I'm leaning towards Berlin....

fuck you assball

if you wanna go to germany, better head for the south (eg munich, stuttgart, freiburg, nürnberg, regensburg) ... its way better than the shitty north cause its got beerfests, great nature and way better sights - besides southern girls look better

Im in nurnberg now, it's alright, bit crap sometimes.
Go to Munich, it's like a better Nurnberg.

Also, 2000 dollar isn't going to do much for you, remember, creditcrunch.

$2000 makes a hell of a lot of difference if you choose to spend it in a third world country. Why don't you try Asian countries like Vietnam or Cambodia? Vietnam is especially secure for foreigners ( they require registration upon residence and arrival in a particular area for security reasons).
Although, European countries are nice places to go to for a visit, $2000 (minus travel) will not get you a good hotel and facilitate good transportation to see the sights unless you opt to join backpacking tours.
