Hey polfag, I thought about trekking in Poland. Are there any beautiful, remote areas you can recommend? Also, will people haet me, because I'm German?

Well trekking usually leads me to the more sparsely populated areas, so duh...Maybe I should disguise myself as American tourist.

Seriously. I tried to come up with a question, but I couldn't think of anything worthwhile to ask...

This is quintessentially 4chan.

American here. In case you have any uncertainties, my advice is just to be loud and complain about beds being too small. And ask if they take dollars.

And I guess taking lots of poorly timed rests would help. Like halfway up a set of stairs or something.

Well like I said I'd be very surprised if anything outright "bad" happened to you. Even the villagers are pretty reserved, so even if they have any reservations about you they wouldn't dare let them show... in front of you anyway.

I wouldn't know. I was never interested in that aspect of the anime experience, but obviously anime is popular or I wouldn't be here.

How expensive is Poland for a tourist on a budget? So how much could I expect to pay for public transit, meals, and hostels?

Polfag #3 here.

There are some, although not as popular as in other countries. Also, if you dress up for them, you'll be perceived as a fag, unless your outfit is amazingly cool and astonishingly well imitates the actual outfit of the character.

Well good place for trekking is Sudeten and Tatras. Also, the area around Cracow is pretty nifty. And no, people won't hate you because you're German, unless you act Nazi.

Well, a hostel night generally costs something about 30-40 z?oty, which is 8-10 euro. A dinner for one person costs about the same. A public transport ticket ranges from 1 up to 5 z?oty (generally), which is from 30 eurocent to 1.5 euro.
