My friends and I are going to Tokyo in march for about 8 days. Through travelocity were are all able to get there with flight and hotel for about 1500usd - 1600usd a person. Has anyone ever worked with travelocity or priceline? This deal seems amazing.

you could go cheaper. probably find flights for ~900 USD (watch out for long layovers) and you can find super cheap accommodations for ~30 USD/night

Me and a friend went for a week last April for £700 ($1450ish) each. That's flying London to Tokyo direct and a hotel in Shinjuku.

We used Expedia.

It depends on the hotel. If you are staying in a capsule hotel that's terrible... It's impossible to sleep in those things unless you are completely drunk. If you actually have a room I'd say that's a deal.

I went in nov, got it through statravel.com for 794$ RT. Its Extreamly low but that was back then, 1400$ is about right and your not gunna find anything lower I might wait if I were you. Btw wtf are you gunna do in tokyo for 8 days?!?!?! Dont waist your trip, stay there for 3, go to Kyoto for like (go see Nara or Osaka durring thoes two days) then head back to Tokyo again. I wouldnt recomend not spending 8 days in Tokyo despite how amazing it is ur missing out on Japan in general if you do
