Born in NZ, lived in Aus-failia for a long time too. Australia: Don't touch the insects. Or the lizards, reptiles or fish. Just don't touch anything that's NOT domesticated, because it can probably kill you. NZ wildlife is pretty innocuous though. Both countries, tipping is frowned upon, it's like saying 'you look like you need it' and both countries have an intense work ethic. Ask away, i'm a NZ citizen and an australian permanant resident.
