Ireland does not deserve the shit most of you fags give it. Alot of peoples impressions of ireland are based on their time spent in the cities (Dublin, Belfast, Limerick), but all you need to do is take a short bus/train from these places to see Irelands true charm. So here, have some pictures i took while out and about in my glorious country.

I never gave her shit. In fact I'm quite the celtophile and would really love to move there if I knew I wouldn't get shit from the locals for being born in Turkey to Turkish speaking parents.

I think most people tend to judge a country on its shitty tourist attractions and metropolitan city life. I honestly don't get why people bother traveling unless they're going to see the real side of the country they're going. But then again I suppose people are ignorant and don't know that there's anything out there.

Because the real side often involves getting robbed, raped and murdered. And not always in that order.

And rightfully so.

I live in Dublin and it sucks. The countryside is crappy too, all sheep and no mountains.Wicklow and Wexford are nice (mostly Wicklow) and the surfing is ok in Mayo/Donegal, but everything else sucks. The Midlands is the most depressing place in Europe. Not worth the trip over here. Go to Scotland, which has city and country.

PROTIP: we're on /trv/. If we loved the places we lived so much, we wouldn't be here.

Not true. Of course you got to be careful but you can't tell me that unless you've been raped and robbed many times while seeing the countryside. I can see from afar that you're taking this "reality" from some scare-stories of a woman being raped & murdered while abroad.

>It happens but it's rare. ( And most of the time, it wouldn't happen if people were more cautious. )

Pretty asinine assumption. So people only travel to escape the shitty places they live? I personally, love where I live, yet I love to travel. How can this be? Hmm, perhaps because I find most places interesting and worth seeing?

If the world's such a scary and dangerous place, best stay at home then eh?
Come on, that's ridiculous. That's just stupid paranoia.
If you're going to stay in places that are familiar and similar to what it's like at home, save the money and stay home.
