Something to do in Japan this evening Kidzu
/jp/ have not been helpful

We're bored. We're in Japan (I live here)
Friends of mine are here only for the next week, and it's shitty weather and we want something to do tonight. It's now 5 pm. We're near Machida

Preferrably not something ridiculously expensive...

Can anyone help?

In exchange, a photo I took the other night from my apartment steps during a storm that was the start of this crapness...

Club, dinner at a restaurant, go to the arcade, mess around in a depaato, go shopping, go meet new people, movie, etc...

Thank you. We're looking for something more than normal, though... Perhaps a restaurant/something tucked away that not many people have heard of. I realise it's a long-shot, though...
Our best idea right now is to just go to a Nomihoudai down the road (not expensive, just a few thousand for the 3 of us for 2 hours of unlimited drinks) but we did that last night due to the lack of ideas...

I dunno lol. You're the one who lives there.

We did in the end... That's two days in a row now...

Have you ever actually been to Japan? I don't know where you're from, but $15 for all-you-can-drink plus two tapas-type food items is pretty cheap... (britfag)

and on the topic of costs in japan, are there any cheap hotels in the tokyo area, or any ideas on price range per night?

Srsly. Some days it seems like this board is mostly "gb2/n/", "gb2/jp/", and "I dunno lol, check wikitravel."

I try not to post wikitravel links often since its obviously not conducive to discussion but it's good to remind people it's there as a supplement. Or I'll post it if I notice /trv/ is slow and someone's thread hasn't gotten any (useful) information.

why does everyone on any 4chan board live in Tokyo?

Osaka is so much better and cooler.

You sir, deserve +1 internets. Although, I wish I could have spent more time in Tokyo and maybe my opinion would be different...

Go explore and find entertainment rather than relying on others to spoon feed you ideas? That's is how people actually find out what there is to do in places...

japan-guide.com's pretty good too

looks like they've got some hardcore forums there as well. However, I'll stick to /trv/ because it seems like posters there are either A) over the age of 35 or B) even worse and are under the age of 16.
I think anon knows best. The rest of the site seems good and I'm sure you could get some REALLY specific answers at the forum if you wanted to...
