If I lived in the UK, I'd move as fast as possible as well. Problem is, even within the EU it is becoming difficult to find a place in which your privacy is respected by authorities. The justification is always neo-nazis, child molesters and, last but foremost, terrorists. Frankly said, when I saw that poster in OP for the first time, I though it was a parody of some kind. The UK is a step further down the road to Big Brother than everyone else. It seems like there is nothing you could do to change that, even though public opinion (in continental Europe) is against it. We have a dictatorship of parties, that have a different agenda on the outside, but only want to eliminate the people as a factor in politics, to strip them bar of their freedom and rights.
