Working in spain Anonymous
Hey /trv/, I currently reside in sunny Hull, England. I am looking at spending a couple of months in Spain working. Have any of you done this summer get away? I am wondering how easy it is and what is involved.

My ideal is a dirt cheap apartment, a bar or labouring job (something to cover the rent on my dirt cheap apartment and a little food). I've got £2000 to play with in terms of flights and getting an apartment to begin with. Do I need to pre-plan this or can I get a flight this weekend to a tourist hotspot and start my adventure?

Spainfag here. Real estate is extremely expensive here, but I am currently working inside Spain in a foreign city and I found the best places to rent at:

inmobiliaria.elpais.com
www.globaliza.com

I do not know how much bartenders earn, but they always prefer to hire sandniggers who will work for some fresh rice and bread. Do NOT start your adventure right now without some planning, as Spain is full of tourists at the moment and you are not likely to find any free youth hostels if you are not insanely lucky.

Do not worry about the food. We are probably the only country in the world where we all hate each other (i.e. Catalonia hates Spain, Galicia hates Spain, Valencia hates Spain, Madrid hates Spain, the Balearic Islands hate Spain, Andalusia hates Spain... you get the idea), but Spaniards will always show off about having the best food in the world. WHICH IS TRUE. We are unsurpassable in terms of quality/price and quantity/quality ratios - you might eat a wonderful hot paella, some local delicacy, wine and dessert for less than 9€. However, if you do not trust restaurants (which you should do, as you seem to want to become a bartender), I suggest to go to /ck/ and ask for some Spanish recipes. Which are the best in the world. No exceptions.

I'm originally from somewhere in Spain and I'm working somewhere else, in a completely unrelated place, with different customs and an annoying accent.
