So, I assume most of you watched Indiana Jones when you were younger. Did it blossom into love of ruins left by ancient civilisations in your case too?

Damn, there's so many places I want to travel to, with Macchu Picchu being on top of the list.

Any more ruin lovers on this board? It seems to me that most of the topics now are modern cities and natural wonders.

I'm definitely more of a natural wonders man but yeah ancient ruins are ok too as long as they don't have any kind of brick shitting traps like in Indiana Jones

Also, Tomb Raider really left its mark on me as well.

Heh, brick shitting traps and secret passages are what turns me on the most. I remember how finding a secret passage (that everybody apart from me apparently knew, it was used to store old furniture) in my uncle's mansion. I was like WOW, A MYSTERY! After that whenever I was on a class field trip to a castle or a mansion, I always staggered behind everybody, and when nobody was looking, I knocked on every suspiciously-looking wall.

I think it was Tomb Raider for me.

Does anyone remember when they found the secret doors in the khufu pyramid? Can't remember the exacts but they had a camera to fit through, and showed it on live TV.

That was one of the most exciting moments of my life. Pity all they found was another fucking wall.

I live in Peru (Lima) but I never been on Macchu Picchu, can you believe it? I feel very sad about that...
