Take the redline uptown and get off at 86th street. There's a 24 hour more or less Halal market/deli place that's open 24/7. Yummy and inexpensive comestibles.

Get the landmarks out of the way
Statue of Liberty
Ellis Island
Museum of Natural History
Museum of Modern Art
That spiral staircase museum that starts with 'G'.

The Village and 14 St were the sleazy, cheap college kid hangouts.
Young professionals had meet markets in bars on the upper East side.
Theaters and tourists on the West side.
And you know the North side.

My friend liked the Cloisters. I'm not sure why.

I used to get the hell out and drive upstate. Quite scenic in spots. The coast of Brunswick, Canada, was a nice vacation once.

Bushwick?

don't wander around your neighborhood alone on Halloween after dark unless you want to get gang mugged by 5 kids wearing masks

^_^

There's a zoo. Brooklyn Zoo? Bronx Zoo?
Anyhow, ride the griaffe. That's the memory you want to make that day. And bring your own lunch; the burgers have sickening mystery meat.

If you smoke weed, albino is a new york week and it's one of the best. Some what common too so it's cheap for it's quality.

Don't go in central park after dark unless you have friendly company or no sense of self preservation. Also, don't make prolonged eye contact with anyone. I don't care if you were raised in pakistan, don't do it.
