I'm currently in las vegas for 7 days for my sisters wedding, unfortunately i'm canadian and i'm only 20, so what is there to do for a guy like me in las vegas that doesn't involve being 21, but that will still be a good time, I'm at the MGM grand - the signature.

Picture unrelated because my sister has my camera right now, i left it in her room and i'm to lazy to get it right now.

Unfortunately, not much. I would say find a buffet and stuff your face for cheap. Could go to an outlet mall and go shopping if you're into that kinda thing. Maybe go see the sights at the hotels around you on the strip, although you might have a hard time walking through the casinos by yourself.

get a bong. at least that is if you smoke. if you can find a way to transport it back home safe, you can get some of the best bongs in vegas for cheap as fuck. my friend got a killer perk zob for 150 a few years back.

I know, and what sucks is that its my second time here, But last time it was a bit better in that we drove from LA to las vegas and we were only staying for a few days, so i spent that time wandering around the hotels and checking them all out, so i've already exhausted that option. I guess i'll just go by the pool and just chill out for while.

I already have a bong, I'm canadian and the city i live in has quite few places. I'll look around though, that would be a good souvenir.

I have taken to collecting stripper cards. I guess i'll wander around and get more of those.

do you need to be 21 in nevada to get hookers?

Don't go. Which retarded fag gets married in Vegas anyway?

well i'm already there, and the wedding already happened, and it was a 40 000 dollar wedding, it wasn't just a wedding chapel and couple of blackjack chips. It was a great time, but i'm still worried about the last 4 days.

I live here in Vegas... One thing I find fun is the Pinball Hall of Fame. Basically a place that has 150-200 vintage pinball and arcade games, all set up to play with quarters, at normal prices. Games from the 50's all the way up to new pinball games, and more. If you're into that kind of thing. I'm 28, but still go there. Pretty sweet.

Since you're at MGM, and the place is on Tropicana, a cab would be less than $10-12 for sure, it's pretty close.

Posting again. Depending on your nerd-level...there are a few other places to visit if you're looking to pass the time.

Atomic Testing Museum - $12 to get in
atomictestingmuseum.org

Star Trek Experience - $25 but you can get 1/2 tickets often at the 1/2 price ticket stands on the strip.
startrekexp.com

Imperial Palace Auto Collection - $cheap, and you can get free tickets outside the casino from guys standing there passing them out. Pretty cool if you're into cars.
autocollections.com

Liberace Museum - $15, minus $2 if arriving by cab and showing receipt. Odd place, kind of interesting and a couple blocks from the Pinball Hall of Fame, if you head that way you could hit up both.
liberace.org

I'll add more as they come to me.

If you like cars go to the Nascar Raceway and visit the Shelby Inc. They have a free tour everyday at 9 pm. You can check out the production line and the little museum. And it's for free!

I LIVE in Las Vegas. If you have enought time for yourself, check out the stuff around the Strip. The scenic route from Charleston to Blue Diamond is promising for any hiker and Old West fan that visits here. The Springs Preserve is bound to interest you as well; the State Museum is reopening there pretty soon. You'll have a blast as a golf enthusiast, wherever you are in the valley. Lake Mead and Boulder City are pleasant locales to stop by at this time of year, despite the receding water. Area 51 tourism is phenomenal in Indian Springs, about ninety minutes north of the city. As stated, there are loads of interesting museums to look around in town. If nothing else works, go rock-hunting. You'd be surprised at what you can find around here.

As for the Wynn, the free-bee stuff is best for viewing at night. Otherwise, you'd need a fat wallet to truly immerse yourself there.

The Wynn's buffet is expensive as fuck, but everyone says its good.

it's very good, but about $40. if you gamble, you can get a players card, earn 200-ish points and you get 2 free buffets put on it. i ate about 10 pounds of the huge fresh cherries at the wynn buffet after i already stuffed myself, and my friends met myself and my brother there... it was awesome.

by the way, i think the kid who posted this thread has already left vegas.

Thanks i ended up going to the pinball museum, walking to the atomic testing museum and going to the star trek experience. All of them very much worth going to.

Overall, i was pleasantly surprised with how well i managed to keep busy. Overall a good trip, but now i have to deal with the shock of returning from a great trip only to return to the most boring fucking city in north america.
