frenzal
ausfag here, sydneyfag to be precise.
i'm considering going down to melbourne for a week or so with the girlfriend, and i'm figuring out how we should get down there.
Sydney -> Melbourne is ~900km.
a) ROADTRIP!!
pros: we'll have a car when we get there; convenience
cons: fuel costs; we're staying in a youth hostel that may not have parking; it'll take at least a day.
b) Train
pros: trains are fucking awesome; it'll drop us off right in the middle of town
cons: we won't have a car; expensive; apparently ausfailian interstate trains are fail; it'll take a day.
c) Plane
pros: <2 hour trip; cheap
cons: flying is boring compared to a train or car; we won't have a car; melbourne's airport is an hour from the city.
