Chocolate expert
Heading off to Japan in October with my sister. We're currently checking into how much tickets would be and stuff.

I don't know anything about Japan. We're debating where we would want to go in Japan. We're basically looking for Sight seeing, entertaining, and exploring.

If it was just me going alone I would just explore the streets (with my camera) as if I were a street cat. But since I'm going with my sister I want to make sure she has a good time.

He's a namefag, you fucking moron newfag.

Anyway, you can't go wrong with Kyoto. Lots of cool sights. Plus Osaka and Nara are both close, so you can easily visit them as well.

>>nice historical and science museum.
Yes, definitely go there.
>>Zoo close by
Better don't visit it.
>>theres a plaza in the middle where homeless people sit in nice files.
It's really impressive when you get there first. Almost everyone sitting/sleeping on a bench is homeless, and some are moving along the way with their mountains of trash - no exaggeration here.

With only one week you can't do much more than Tokyo-area and Kyoto/Osaka-area. Personally I'd give Kyoto more weight, but it largely depends on your and your sister's interests.

One thing in advance: You have your sister with you, so you should plan your visit to Akihabara, if you want to go there, in detail. Really, it isn't difficult to accidently run into something you don't want to see.....like taking the wrong entrace to toranoana.

This.

Try to get a bit more time if you can, depending on your interests, a week isn't really enough time for Tokyo, nevermind other places in Japan.
