I need to get from London to Edmonton in september, for one week. As cheaply as possible. Is it best to book asap, or last minute? Should I go somewhere more famous, like Vancouver, and get a bus to Edmonton, or is Edmonton a common enough destination that it won't affect price?
I'll take any advice!

Use one of those multi month ticker searchers (http://matrix.itasoftware.com/cvg/dispatch/), search for a few destinations. A return long range bus ticket from a cheaper airfare will cost you $200 min, so add that to your pricing if you don't go directly to Edmonton.
