Barcelona is a lovely city. If you're not into clubbing and/or not used to the different time schedule (get up in the afternoon, go to bed in the morning) you might find it a bit loud at night, but it's a beautiful city even during the day time
Venice is nice if you can find somewhere cheap to stay (more likely outside of Venice is cheaper, even with travel costs), and is worth visiting. It has about enough to do in 3 days, even if you don't include just sitting around and enjoying the place
Budapest is also a brilliant city worth visiting. The people there are really quite friendly and food is dirt cheap. When me and my friends had a similar trip recently Budapest was my favourite city. If you do go though, be prepared for extreme heat and a different currency than Euros
Finally, I'd say Copenhagen is worth a visit. It's got that sort of traditional medieval/fairytale city feel about it, lots of spires and cobblestones and the like around, so if you want to see that sort of thing it's quite nice (even for someone coming from York it felt very old European). Copenhagen has ridiculous prices though, especially when trying to find somewhere to stay
