ITT the place you live and three places where you'd like to live at least for some time.

I live in southern Germany near Munich and this is where I'd love to spend some time.

1) Southern France (Montpellier for example)

2) San Francisco

3 Tokyo (preferably Shimokitazawa)

OMG, I also live in South Germany near Munich, we have something in common!

I agree with you on Japan, since I speak the language which is an important factor for me.
I could picture me living in Northern Italy, Canada, Great Britain, Switzerland or Austria.
But I don't think I will ever find a country that can replace my home. It doesn't get much better than here.

Actually, I do like Kentucky's mountains and batshit crazy roads. From what I read, there's a lot of places there to catch bass, although they're mostly smallmouth and striped. I got to spend some time there last year and caught a few smallmouths just upstream from Cumberland Falls. I know that fishing and the idea of being in Kentucky isn't everybody's idea of fun. I just felt so comfortable and relaxed everywhere I went there even though I couldn't drive more than 500 yards without seeing another church...lol.
