Travelling to Italy and Greece Anonymous
I leave in a week for 10 days spent mostly in Rome and a little in Greece. Can you guys offer any advice on what I sohuld watch out for or see? It's part of a class trip so there's an itinerary and I don't have complete freedom. General tips would be nice. Also, how do I keep the "Im an Americafag!" appearance to a minimum? Wear a canada flag patch? :3

Enjoy italy as much as you can, so that you can think of there while greece is draining your life away.

Ahem, seriously though, don't be fat, obnoxious and loud and you'll be fine. Also, don't scream WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS, I WANTED PIZZA when you see italian pizza. Keep politics to yourself, especially if you're a knuckle-dragging right-wing nut. Basically, think of the American stereotype, and don't do anything resembling it.

sounds like I'm set.

1. I'm overwieght but not pigdisgusting american fat. you wouldn't notice unless I had my shirt off. I'm quiet and selfconcious.
2. I know what to expect form Italian pizza. Looking foreward to it. :)
3. I'm liberal.

What's so wrong with Greece though? We're only spending a day or two on some peninsula.

Greece is nice as long as you stick to tourist spots - historical stuff and the beaches.

No one buys that now, because all Americans do that and no Canadian does.

from what I heard from my dad who was station there when he was in the army Italian pizza is just flat bread with sauce.
