I'd like to save up some money and tour japan, how much should I save for a trip of mostly hostels, lots of walking, and tons of food?

20-30€ per night in hostels, 3-5€ per meal.
You can eat quite cheap if you go to konbinis and buy the ffod there, they even heat is upo for you. It is usually under 600 yen per meal. Or you go to a Ramen Restaurant, you get a meal for under 800 yen.

Also Curry Houses and Gyudon Chains got all their meals for less than 800 yen. So even eating out the whole time isn't expensive and gets you full.

walking is for hippy scum. Real men use armored vehicles with flamethrowers!

expect around 3000 yen per night, 4000+ gets you into a business hotel.

If you eat nothing but udon in soup (all over the place), expect a meal to be no more then 300 yen (as low as 105 in Osaka).

If you're going tour Japan, buy a Japan Rail Pass before you go. NOT available in Japan.

I fucking hate anime and most people who watch it, but its getting a lil silly not being able to discuss Japan at all without this shit.
