I'm going to Ireland (Republic of) in about six weeks. I'm traveling from Australia and this is my first time out of the country. Not only that, I'm doing it alone. I don't mind the idea of being in an english speaking country but the thing is I have a day and night in Seoul on the way in and the way back. Now I have no idea what I should do or how to do anything. What do I do with a day in a non-english speaking country, with a time limit? Its a great opportunity to see a little bit of the city I guess but I'll be fucked if I wind up lost. How will I read signs? Anybody have any tips on how to not get lost or what I could do there? Ill be staying in a hotel somewhere and my ticket comes with a bus to and from the hotel and airport.

Make yourself a cheat sheet on Korean that you can carry around with you before you go. Basic phrases and words that you may need to know how to say and read like "bus", "bathroom", etc.
