Hey /trv/ I'm going to Spain in April and I don't really know where to go. Well, I have an idea, I feel like spending around 10 days in southern Spain. I've plotted the places I'm thinking of visiting on the map, with my ideal pathing. Should I do it clockwise or counterclockwise? How do I get from one point to the other? :D

Visiting Barcelona is a must.

Oh well I'm initially joining a study tour, that includes Madrid, Barcelona, and Salamanca. So my main places of interest are (in no particular order of importance):
1.Sevilla
2.Granada
3.Cordoba
4.Valencia
5.Algeciras - Tangier

I have 10 days. The question is, how much time to spend where?

Come to Barcelona, you'll like it :)

spend all 10 days in one place. Its a way better way to travel.

After what I've heard, Barcelona is indeed worthwhile.

Also, Tanger: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/99/Tangier_5184a.jpg

Your route lacks Toledo. It´s very close to Madrid.

I'm also going to Spain, early April. Maybe we'll run into each other.

I'm planning to pick up a sword from the factory at Toledo. I'm just wondering how I'll check that on the plane.

What do Spaniards think of the Isle of Ibiza?

Okay, I know Barcelona's really cool. It's part of my packaged tour, and I've been there before. I'm also going to Segovia with the tour... I'm just asking about these 5 places. I think none of you have gone there eh? Haha

not OP here

do people understand castellano in Barcelona, or is it all catalán?

they speak castillano also, they all do

Pretty much everywhere there except madrid is filled with gypsies.

You might want to see Cordoba and Barcelona, they rule. Barcelona is amazing just because of the Sagrada Familia.

Barcelona, visit the Dali museum.
