Emirates
Etihad Airways
British Airways
Cathay Pacific
and some Chinese Airline on this other website.

also the stops seems to differ between stoping in Dubai/Bangkok/London(then direct to sydney)

if only you could be flown exclusivley in an f-15 eh hahaha.

Only airline ive flown with on thier OP is emirates to Japan, and they were great, don't know if they wil be cheaper or more expensive than british airways.

British airways has increasingly gotten crappier, I used to love flying on it, but now its no better than any of the American lines. Emirates is your best bet (in terms of enjoyability) although it will probably be the most expensive. I would avoid anything that china has to offer because in my experience the service can be good, bnut often times you will struggle to find even a counter to check in at.

yeah seconded. Dont go BA.

Emirates and Quantas are are around the same price and level of service ive found, used both hundreds of times, if your in manchester with quantas you will have to fly to heathrow first, then to singapore probably. Easier to do emirates Manchester>Dubai>Sydney.

Avoid British(it) Airways like the plague.

Been burnt, not gonna fly with BA ever again.
Shit for service, crappy (even by aeroplane food standards) food and generally very unpleasant. Got a broken seat that kept tilting back and wouldn't stay up. Complained to the crew but they paid no attention. What they did do was always remind me "sir please lift your seat to the upright position". So yeah, there I was, periodically pressing the fucking button that you adjust the seat with.

Whoever said Qantas and Emirates are comparable in terms of service hasn't run many international or domestic flights with Qantas.

Emirates would be nicest in terms of in-flight entertainment, food, service. The only downside is the constant multilingual pilot banter when taking off and landing.

Qantas serves sweet fuck all food and is generally mediocre.

Cathay and Tiger Airways are cheap which is good, but I have heard the latter suffers from chronically poor service.

Last time I flew BA my in seat television set didn't work properly, it only showed the backup predefined programme rather than the on-demand system. After a few attempts to reset the system they just upgraded me and my colleague to the World Traveller Plus class. Lots of legroom, less engine noise, barely any passengers.

The crew responded in a most excellent manner really.

fuck BA, they're awful
Emirates is good but expensive

i hear good things about Etihad, but i've never used it

ok I noticed this on BA and Lufthansa has anyone gotten a seat where the foot space under the chair in front of you was taken up by the power supply for the TVs or whatever. I am fucking 6ft5in and by the end of my Boston-Frankfurt leg I was about to choke someone out. what asshole airline gives you literally no place to put your legs?
