>>46591 Well New West is a part of Vancouver. The Greater Vancouver Regional District (actually I believe they changed the official name from GVRD to Metro-Vancouver, which is faggy but whatever) Consists of Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, New West, Port Moody, Surrey, Langley, Richmond, etc etc etc. Look it up on google maps and you'll see its all connected.
That said, New West in particular is a verry hilly area near the "center of town", for lack of a better word. Some of the residential areas around it are kinda run down, or are otherwise not the nicest places to live, but not ALL of New West is bad. Personally, I would rather live in Burnaby though.
Whatever you do, never live anywhere under the fraser river. Anywhere is a palace compared to there (this means langley, surrey, richmond, etc.). Again, look up the area on google maps and learn the layout.
