Hello /trv/,

I am a hobo, I have been travelling and working on the road since I left high school. I'm 24 now and I want a change of pace. I need a steady job and go to college.

I'm a jack of all trades (currently a ships mechanic, chef and doctor on a Dutch container ship) and speak 4 languages but I'm quite low skilled, on paper at least.

What country (and area) would you recommend for someone in my situation? I need decent minimum wage, reasonable rent and good college support.

I myself was thinking England, but I'm not sure.

OP here, I'm an amputee btw

You could try somewhere with a low standard of living, like a small county in Kentucky or something. The Bible Belt of the US sucks ass, but damn, its cheap as hell to live. anywhere from 100-300 for rent a month and if your white a job is easy to come by. They also have university in KY, but again, your in KY so your paying for in one way or another. No free lunch in this country I guess : /

That's my problem with a lot of places in Europe. Netherlands is a good example, there's no incentive to get off your arse. high welfare payouts vs. low working class wages.

Isn't one's sense of self as well as honor an incentive or has that become dated?

"Honour? Fuck that, I want free money!"
Welcome to Europe.

Sneaky fuckers became politicians.
Entrepreneurs lifted themselves out of the working class centuries ago.
People with HUGE GUTS RIP AND TEAR took on a whole fucking hemisphere and became Americans in the continental sense.
Who's left? The pussies.
