/trv/, I just graduated from an art school and have equal job oppurtunities waiting for my response in either Los Angeles or New York City.

Which city should I pick, I will be getting the same work in either area, but I am cannot make up my mind as I like both cities and will have fellow friends/students in either areas.

Panhandling isn't limited to just NY or LA, kiddo.

Seriously though, both cities have a lot to offer, so it's really hard to give a recommendation without you telling us your interests (aside from art, apparently), and possibly a bit more about each job offering.

New York, but don't actualy live ON Manhattan. It gets old after a while. Go for Brooklen or the Bronx.

Yep. I wish the best of luck to all hard-sciencefags, but the idea that anything even remotely abstract yields nothing but a life of begging while Physics majors are waited on beck-and-call by potential employers is hilarious.

Good Artfags > shitty sciencefags, also true inverted

I also call for living in NYC. Like another anon said, don't live in manhattan though, look for a place in brooklyn (preferably williamsburg where all the other hipster scum like you live)
>> Anonymous
LA will be cheaper rent-wise, but you'll need a car, which is expensive and will be getting more expensive

NYC (even brooklyn, even the hipster areas, all of it) is expensive rent-wise, but the rest can be quite manageable, and it's wonderful not having to rely on a fagetmobile

aside from cost, i don't know what other metrics there are. both will have plenty of the culture shit you want.
