This topic probably sounds really lame, but here goes anyway. After high school when everyone buggers off to their respective colleges/universities all over the country, when you want to meet old friends (in b4 no friends), how do you decide where to meet up?

Do you meet at a good midpoint city, do you alternate between each other's cities, go for what's the cheapest, or do you just all take a long journey somewhere totally random and totally awesome?

Pic related, as I am a Britfag. I've used Sheffield as an awesome midpoint between Yorkshire and Warwickshire, any other ideas?

Usually the city where they attended high school together.

Isn't that where you make your life-long friends?
