Depends on what you like. Spain is where most Europeans go for vacations, and for good reason. They know how to have fun. Italy, especially Florence, Venice and Palermo are good places to visit for the cultured anonymous. Malta, Corsica and Sardinia have always intrested me. Ireland for easy living and hard drinking, as well as a cute countryside, even if it might be quite dreary in the winter. Switzerland for mind-blowing sceneries to explore, preferrably by hiking. Black Sea coast Bulgaria for a cheap-ass beach resort with shady services available. Germany would be a nice place to visit for it's history; there's a castle sitting on just about every hill. But apart from that, it might be a little dreary. France is a nice enough place, except it's full of French people. Avoid Finland like cancer, I live there and with little hesitation will attest that the only people who visit here are British pensioneers who've been everywhere else already, or nips who think the idea of a Santa-based theme park is a cool idea.
