These trips aren't something to rush into, you need to prepare, they'll usually give you a kit list of what essentials you'll need. If you see something you like, the best thing to do is enquire with the operator, they expect people to have lots of questions, so won't mind if you ask what kind of people usually go/are going on their tours.
