Hey /trv/
Where in Aussieland is worth going?
>> Anonymous
Great Barrier Reef
Byron Bay
Kakadu National Park
Fraser Island
Twelve Apostles (Great Ocean Road)
Daintree Rainforest

Really depends on budget and what you like.

Bron kind of sucks these days, way too many tourists. Good area though, check out surrounding towns etc.

Really it depends what you want to see, if you want to hang out with other backpackers and get drunk and go to some nice beaches, see a koala, then do the standard east coast route.

If you want to see something unique get some transport and check out more out of the way places, like the northern territory.

fucking tourist bullshit, just walk around sydney or melbourne and see what it's really like there. Those places you listed are fucking lame and shouldn't represent the country

You're an idiot. Sydney and Melbourne are just like any big city in the world. Go see some of the natural wonders of the country or just be a pov cunt and live a sheltered life in front of your computer.

Yes, get out and about. Don't miss Tasmania either.
Don't stick to the cities. Although there's plenty to do in town the real country is outside.

you're an idiot. There's not a whole lot to do in Australia.

Ignore the cities, go adventure in the outback.

>>22509
There are shit loads of places to go, what the hell are you talking about?
>> Anonymous
>>22511
the only people who go to the outback are tourists who want to go to 'the land downunder'

no one who lives here goes there

Because everyone takes it for granted. You're just ignorant in thinking that it is all 'outback' outside the cities.

Australia has a shitload more interesting places to see than most countries. We don't have old buildings nor a long history (Federation I'm talking about) but we have so many other natural wonders.

Rainforests, deserts, reefs, sand islands, snow, beaches + it is very cheap to visit if you come from anywhere in Europe.

Melbourne, Tasmania (particularly Cradle Mountain and the Wilderness Area if you don't mind a few days/weeks walking), Daintree, Barossa Valley, WA.

THIS!

If you've got the time do the Tasmania Wilderness trail walk from Cradle Mountain all the way south.

It's long, it's hard and it'll take you across some of the most beautiful country on earth.

Don't go alone and you'll need to be bloody experienced. If you want to break it into sections you can do the Overland Track from Cradle Mountain to Lake St Clair and then look at things like the South Coast and Port Davey tracks as well as walks in the Wild Rivers park.

For each you're looking at between 6 and 14 days.

Bullshit. I have been plenty of times and there is still a shitload of places I haven't seen. People spend large portions of their life venturing around australia and still don't come close to seeing it all. I'm guessing all you do is bum around the city and never see any of your own country.

People over the age of 50 travel around Australia, because they have nothing better to do. No one else does, and anyone who says they have are idiots.
