Northwest suburbs of Chicago.

Steak 'n Shake, IHOP, and Denny's.

Nothing else much to do around these parts at 3 AM on a Tuesday. :(

I'm the designated GPS bitch. I thought that me and my group of friends were the only people nutty enough to do that. Guess not.

I usually drive out of NYC every friday night by myself to a small area around Sleepy Hollow with a brook and a forest, and just walk around in the fog. It is so creepy but at the same time so relaxing and exhilarating. I usually end up spending a couple of hours chilling on the hood of my car, looking up at the moonbeams shooting through the leaves, and listening to the water. Love it.

I love night driving. Usually I don't hop in the car until two or three in the morning so I definitely have the roads to myself. I live along the Puget Sound up in Washington state (a county below the Canadian border) so I need only drive a short time before hitting a 24 hour drive up coffee shack. Grab a kiwi-banana milkshake, maybe a muffin or cookie too, then head off into the woods.

My favorite thing is to end up on a mountain overlooking the valley or the Sound to watch the sun slowly rise.
