Any Melbournians here?
I screwed up and am flying into Avalon... So I'm thinking of getting a taxi to Lara train station, then getting a train into the CBD.
I'm not familar with Melbourne and I'm kind of organising this for a few friends as well so I don't want to get stranded anywhere.
Is there a flaw in this plan or alternatively is there a better way to do it?

Of course it doesn't have money to spend on public infrastructure; they have to subsidise Connex coffers so the company can fund its twice yearly fare hikes in order to pay the ticket inspectors.

There's a ~$25 bus service from Avalon to Melbourne.

Quicker and probably damn near cheaper than fucking around with taxis.

I know theres a bus but theres four of us which gives me the dellusion that maybe public transport would be cheaper.
