Perpetrual Traveller: Is this possible? Anonymous
So, I want to hang outside my home country for most of the year, living and working abroad.

A few reasons for this:

1. I work online so I can take my work wherever I go.
2. Apparently, if I stay outside the country (Canada) long enough so I become a non-resident, I pay zero tax on my income outside the country.

I'm making a decent income (at least $8k a month) so I'm neither a poorfag or a rich fuck.

Basically, if you're a country that doesn't tax non-resident citizens (just about every country except the US and Philippines), then it's possible. You just have to stay in a country either 1) not long enough to be considered a resident for tax purposes or 2) doesn't tax income earned abroad if you are a resident.

You make almost 6 figures? That's pretty dang good for working online.. unless you mean Canada Dollars, in case it's still pretty good depending on where you live.

I don't think there are many places that you couldn't afford to live in TBQH

Additionally, some countries don't even tax their permanent residents at all! Some countries only tax their permanent residents who earn income inside the country, so you could live there all damn year and as long as your working online and not for any locals, you wouldn't pay any taxes to the local government of that country.

Yes, it's very possible. You don't even need to be rich, but being able to work online probably helps a lot.
