Why act like a tourist?

Whenever I go somewhere I go to the typical touristy areas, yeah, but I don't act like a typical tourist. You tend to stick out like a sore thumb and be seen as a walking commodity, rather than a person. It's good to act almost as if you moved there or something, if you can stand the initial "FOREIGNER SCUM!" reactions.

Except in Japan. They really fucking hate you if they think you're staying longer than just to visit.

Then dont be a tourist. Move somewhere.

eurofags do this as part of their rite of passage coming of age shit. it's called a 'working holiday'.

that's what all those cool japanese kids are doing when they serve you a bowl of ramen in the city (what, you think living someplace is going to be free?!)

so yeah, people learn more than one language through their childhood for this and to also keep the machinery of the euro industrial complex nice and greased and not fall into discommunication and fail

Every white person takes at least one trip to Europe between the ages of 17-29. During this time they are likely to wear a back pack, stay at a hostel, meet someone from Ireland/Sweden/Italy with whom they have a memorable experience, get drunk, see some old churches and ride a train.

What’s amazing is that all white people have pretty much the same experience, but all of them believe theirs to be the first of its kind. So much so that they return to North America with ideas of writing novels and screenplays about their experience.

The arrival of the “other white people” to either restaurants or vacation spots instantly means that lines will grow, authenticity will be lost, and the euphoria of being a cultural pioneer will be over.

The probability of travel experiences all falling into the same of similar categories is fairly high. After all, there are only so many things you want to do when visiting a foreign country for the first time. This is not necessarily a bad thing, and while objectively most trips are effectively identical, subjective experiences are unique.

Of course this doesn't excuse the self-centred douchebaggery that creates the illusion that you are somehow more special than everybody else.

Black people dont travel of course, they just get malaria or eat KFC and turn into fat fucks.

Travel is great and all but too often it's used as a means to appear cultured and compete with other yuppie schmucks much like other things that cost a lot of money like cars, plastic surgery, computers, clothes, etc

Don't blow your money going to those places if you don't want to, god damn.

They can't afford plane tickets.
