So, I'll be in Boston in a couple days.

Basically all the areas highlighted on this map I plan to explore. Anything else worth seeing I'm missing out on? Would any of these hoods be described as "no-go" areas? etc.

Go to Toronto instead

Thats where I am already.

So, any advice for me aside from the suggestion to visit my place of residence instead?

And where could I purchase a $15 7-Day-LinkPass?

Hmm, I just went on MBTA's website, and it said I could purchase one at Harvard Station (where I'll be staying). In a vending machine, with cash?

go to:
Mike's pasteries in North End
Aquarium (you can walk there from Gov. Center)
Random shops/restaurants/museums around Harvard Square
Random shops/things around Newbury st (though overpriced) and the Common is nearby (don't go after dark though)
If you like nature & gardening you can take the commuter rail to a place called Garden in the Woods...forgot which stop it's at tho
Fun things within walking distance!
And I supposed the now-infamous Glouchester high school...

Too bad school's out. I was hoping to knock up a 15-year-old.

Fenway. I don't give a fuck if they're not playing the Toronto Blowjobs, you WILL see a game.

That would probably increase your chances.

Boston has little in the way of "no-go" areas. There are some parts of Dorchester where you might feel uncomfortable, and I've heard of people being mugged REALLY late at night in Harvard Square (though obviously not in the parts where there are always people, like the Pit). But for the most part, you'll be fine going anywhere.

That, or I've been very lucky in all my years here.

These two are good plans. Also, if you've an interest in history, drop by the Charlestown Navy Yard and check out the Constitution. You might also consider Faneuil Hall for touristy stuff, but it's fairly overrated to be honest. It's right near Gov't Center and the Aquarium, though.

Lastly, you definitely want to take a walk through the Common and the Garden.

And now I'm back to /tg/, which is what I had meant to go to in the first place.

Quincy Market; Faneuil Hall for shopping, street entertainment and food.

North End: Amazing Italian food and pastries. There's two places I go to: Piccolo Venezia and Saraceno's
And go to Mike's pastries after for dessert.

Harvard Square: Eat, shop, go to museums, hit on smart college chicks.

Yeah stay out of Mattapan and Dorchester. They have some shitty parts. A 6 month old was shot the other day.

Go to Dorchester if you like risking your life for the fun of it. Most neighborhoods downtown have plenty of things to do.

Don't visit MIT, there's nothing to see there unless you like watching nerds in their native habitat.

Thanks Bostonfags. I heard that the South End was also cool (looks it from Live Local's bird's eye view shots), worth checking out? (and I don't mean that ghetto shit like Dorchester, but that peninsula-ish thing southeast of downtown)
