Okay so I'm used to taking the LIRR from Long Island to Penn Station and going anywhere in the five boroughs from there. But I've got a show to go to tomorrow (DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist!!) at the McCarren Park Pool in Williamsburg, outside of Manhattan. The G and L trains are right next to the Pool. The problem is the LIRR stops on Flatbush Ave. with the 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D, M, N, Q, R trains. I'm not too keen on subways and the MTA website Map is omgwtf clusterfuck.tl;dr - how the fuck do you go from Flatbush Ave. to McCarren Park Pool via the subway?
I suggest leaping in front of an L train.
