someone ever been to Switzerland? What to do/see there?
>> Anonymous
ya i've been to Zurich and it was awesome. Very nice nightlife and the people are somehow prettier, lots were kind of arrogant tho.

minimaltechno in clubs is very big there

Their neutrality sickens me. You never know where they stand.

What makes a man turn neutral? Lust for gold? Power? Or were you just born with a heart full of neutrality?
>> Anonymous
>>36386
it's not really neutral. They just claim to be so and aren't in the EU but every country takes sides.
>> Anonymous
>>36390
reason behind it's neutrality lies within european wars. got them through both world wars without real damage

they have 4 official languages. enjoy learning them all so you don't look like a dick to everyone else.

lol i'm swiss and everybody speaks english. we're supposed to speak two out of the 4 official languages, learning one in school.

My observation is that most Swiss are at least bilingual, but the second lang. is not always English.

I'd say knowing a bit of French or German would be nice, many people understand you, but not all. I'm never going to forget that wrinkled old man yelling at me on a tram in Swiss German for reasons that are still beyond me...

so is the german, french or italian section nicer?
>> Anonymous
>>36422
French.

German comes second, Italian third, and Romansch is the shit.
>> Anonymous
>>36424
why exactly?
>> Anonymous
>>36425
Subjective opinion, comparing Geneva and Bern. Romansch fails specifically because there isn't anywhere worth mentioning.
>> Anonymous
>>36392
nice logic. the reason behind their neutrality is the result of them being neutral.
>>36424
it's worth noting that in english, saying something is 'the shit' is the opposite to saying something is 'shit'. just fyi

Zürich is actually the best city in the world to live, followed by Geneva.

My brother and I prefer the German part because we know German, but our parents perfer the French part because they know French. Personally, I think they're both nice. The part close to Italy is, understandably, the shittiest part.
