I'm driving up to Portland, Oregon tomorrow, and I'll be there until next tuesday. Anything I need to do while I'm there?

Yes, you must do Voodoo. My recomendation: the maple bar with bacon.

Also, buy gas. It's amazing. You don't even have to do it yourself!

Also, Powell's. Coolest bookstore ever.

If you're up late at night, the few eating places that will still be open are Roxy(Stark St, one block south & west of Powell's), and maybe Backspace (NW 5th & Couch)

OMSI is cool, too.

If you like nature: Go to the Multnomah Falls, either by taking I-84 east to it, or if you have more time I-84 east to Troutdale, then US 30(the Historic Colombia River Highway) east. There's a bunch of different, pretty waterfalls along the HCRH route, as well as the Crown Point vista house.

Pic related.

Also, you can go up to the Dalles, where the Oregon Trail game ended. Do not attempt to float your car down the river.

voodoo doughnuts sucks plus if you go near it you're likely to get assaulted by the bums or drug addicts that inhabit that neighborhood. portland has an exceptionally low murder rate, it would be near nothing if those ten or so square blocks were not included

A concur with voodoo dough nuts. The Maple Bacon one is good as well as the Mango Dough Nut. In fact, all save the vegan ones are awesome.
