So I'm going to Europe this fall, so far the plan is England, Holland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain.I've been thinking about it and I'd like to go to the Nürburgring if possible. I looked at where it is, and it kinda seems to make sense to go there after holland on the way to Munich (want to be there for oktoberfest)Has anyone done this? Anyone have any suggestions/ ideas of the best way to do so?
that picture is awesome
Forget to drive with your rental car on the ring. They will not let you drive on the course.
>>37333Your list sucks. Cut out England, France and Italy, and you might just have a decent vacation.
>>37333If you're going to the ring, take the taxi around.Trust me ;)
While your in germany, you MUST go to berlin, frankfurt, luneburg and limburg. No shit, so much to do at all those places. Also, for addes kickass, go to koln
>>37362Limburg is not in Germany.
>>37352It's a one way public toll road. As long as the rental agreement doesn't specifically tell me not to drive there, I'm fine.
Yeah i was there christmas last year which was pretty special as we were there for the Christmas markets, try and stay in the old part if you can and it's worth taking a day trip to the parade grounds of Hitler, interesting museum. There is also a fairly awesome backpackers hostel we saw there up on a hill, unfortunatly i can't remember the name but it's always booked out so it's worth looking into soon. It was up next to the castle and i think it used to used for storage or grain or something. We also did a walking tour the first arvo we got there which was quite cool. be prepared for some anti-american sentiment though, they lost quite a lot of art and everything else in the war.
