After a trip to Europe we had left over booze (hard to imagine, I know) and wanted to bring it home but eventually decided it wasn't worth the possible hassle. In Canadian law if you purchased it legally in another country you must be able to legally purchase it in the first province you set foot in. Since in SK it's 19 I couldn't but if I had landed in AB, MB or ON then departed to SK I would have been fine. Pretty sure the laws are the similar in the U.S. so you may not be able to bring it home.
