My advice - do what Im doing! Teach in Korea. You get free accomodation, don't need to speak any Korean, and just talk English (asuming your a natural speaker) to kids for 25 hours a week. Its a years contract, and Ill leave about £8-10k richer, and that includes eating out everynight, drinking at weekends, and having seen all of Korea. I'm going traveling after that, Australia for 3 months (may do some off shitty jobs there), Thailand, Malaysia, China, etc, then Im going back to UK via Europe and Trans Siberain. It'll take 18-24 months aof my life, and I'll have broken evern at the end, but what are your fellow friends going to achieve in 2 years - maybe a low level promotion? And Ill be more confident, more experienced, and worldly wise. Plus, Ill have a year teaching experience, which is always respected (cos we think kids are buggers to teach, whereas they are awesome here, respectful and willing to work!)
I suggest that you do it. You get paid to travel. No other country does that (and pays well)
