The UK has no Constitution, no Bill of Rights. It's like China, if they decide to prosecute you for wrongdoing, they can, and they will. Who would want to live like that?
Bush has made current things suck, but whenever I talk to my friends across the water, I realize it doesn't suck nearly as much as 24/7 CCTV monitoring in the UK with some guy telling you where and when you can fart on an empty sidewalk at 10pm. (true story)
