Both pretty much the same except for the food and the accent and maybe tokyo's a little more modern looking I guess

So Tokyo uses an over-inflated budget to buy all the good players in the league?

Kyoto > all other japanese cities

Osaka has better food but it's super ghetto (by Japanese standards) all the buildings are grey and unpleasant. also they speak in a rude-sounding accent : S

Tokyo is big and shiny and some parts are ultramodern, some parts are old fashioned. You can find everything (EVERYTHING) in tokyo.

Osaka = mini Tokyo.
Tokyo = heug Osaka.

Take your pick.

Tokyo is sexy, Osaka is neat.
Osaka-ben and kansai-ben sound cool but are hard for many to understand.
Akihabara seems to be going to the mass media, and trendy. No idea about Nipponbashi...

Hanshin Tigers are superior

>>71989
>>super ghetto
The Nihonbashi part around Den-Den Town and the Tsutenkaku I guess. But even that's a hell lot nicer then America.

Also, watch out for Roppongi niggers. They're up to no good, just like the niggers at home.

Osaka: cooler accent, better takoyaki, closer to Kyoto for your temple sightseeing needs
Tokyo: more stuff to see/doo that isn't temples, more varied nightlife
>> Anonymous
Tokyo is a bit better if you're not planning to leave the city. Otherwise Osaka wins because it has Kyoto, Nara, and Kobe nearby, and isn't that far from Nagoya and Himeji.

Also, Hanshin Tigers fuck yeah

is it accurate to say Osaka = Chicago and Tokyo = NYC?

Osaka is more fun, the people are nicer. Tokyo is ok, Kyoto is beautiful but the people are up their own ass. They make Londoners and Parisians look amiable.

Kansai-ben is weird, but the feedback you get as a gaijin using "bochibochi ya na" after a moonspeaker asked you if you speak Japanese is awesome.

Osaka is to Tokyo as Alabama is to New York.
