So here's the deal /trv/ You've decided to go overseas for a couple of months. You've chosen the city because there's someone you know there, but they work during the day. What do you do with your time?

You're going to have a lot of free time, so how do you keep busy?

Picture related because it's Jakarta

Jakartafag reporting. Try visiting our boring and uninspiring museums or one of our 386 shopping malls. No, seriously. If you're in Jakarta there's bounds to be a lot of stuff to do if you're a foreigner with a reasonable amount of cash. If you're a stay-at-home kind of person, don't count on internet speed, instead go buy a DVD player and 500 pirated DVDs for like $15 (I'm exaggerating here).

Yeah, your musuems are pretty bad. I went to the one near the picture (it's like 2 minutes down the road) but it was sweet because they have one of the Flores skulls there. Plus it smells old and is dusty.

Last time I was there, I went out to a fair few shops. It's about 13 dvds for $10. Or atleast it was when I was there a couple of months ago.

What's your football like? If I try to go to a game, Persija most likely, will everyone target the bule?

Oh, I don't know, I certainly wouldn't waste my time doing useless crap like exploring my new city/country or just going outside in general.
