Hey /trv/!

Me and a friend is going to travel to Indonesia in the beginning of April. We're going to stay there for two months, traveling around and just have fun. We're also planning on visiting Malaysia and the Philippines.

Any advice on what's worth checking out/doing in these countries (and also advice on what NOT to do) would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Do the Borobudur. Place has been hyped up to all heck, but as commercialised as the place is, the actual temple itself is fantastic.

Then travel up into the Javan heights, there's a small volcanic lake (forgot the nam) which is really pretty.

advice? hum... enjoy yourself and do try the local food.

er a traditional custom here to give and accept with your RIGHT hand. Giving with left sometimes count as being impolite.

To be honest i liked Lombok better than Bali, cheaper and less touristy. Still a very beautiful place thought.

If your chicken kebabs have a fish scale in them, go to the nearest and most expensive hospital you can find, before/after punching the chef.

Cockroaches in Bali get fucking huge. there were that many in said resturaunt last time i went that there was a queen cockroach. it was big and screeched at me. try going through that when you are eight years old and are scared of the alien movies.

Also, Waterbomb park is awesome, if you are around Bali.

msiafag? in my /trv/?

Anyway, Malaysia is not that bad. Singapore can be done in two to three days.

I suggest you to visit kennysia.com and search for his travel log in Indonesia if you're really interested.

I'm a Singaporefag. My advise stay away from Singapore and visit Malaysia instead. There is nothing here really but concrete jungle and our tallest peak is paltry 250m high lol.

A nice thing to do in Indonesia is be jailed and executed for drug smuggling.
