Leaving New Zealand to go back home to the West Island. (Yeah, reverse Mozzie/I'm doin' it wrong)My current plan is to leave Dunedin on the Knightrider, arrive at Chch Airport at 3am, wait in the 24/7 Arrivals lounge, move to the International Departures when it opens at 4am, loiter at the airport until 2pm when I check in, then fly off at 3pm.That's a 7 hour bus ride, and 12 hours at the airport. Is this a really fucking stupid idea? Or should I shell out an extra $100NZ (and more for city shopping and sightseeing in the morning) for a daytime bus/hotel/airport shuttle/my sanity?
Stay awake from now until you get to the airport and you should be alright. Get some moneyz though so you can look around the city in case you wake up.Also, Maori born in Australia?
