Since I am female, our tastes in activities may slightly be different. However, there are a lot of cool places to go to near the Baltimore Harbor. My Thai (located off of North Charles St) is a really awesome Thai food place that also has some great sushi. If you are into drinking and partying, than Angels Rock Bar is a fun place to go (anyplace near Power Plant Live is good). Slainte in Fells Point is a fun Irish bar/pub that is fun to go to on Saturday nights. Asahi Sushi in Fells has been said to be the best Sushi in Baltimore.
One place that I always enjoyed going to was downtown Annapolis. Lots of great places for photography (if that is something you are into) and cute little coffee shops. I know there is also a local anime club that meets at the 49 West Coffee House once in a while. It's just a fun, chill place to go for tea and coffee and once in a while they have live bands.
If you are into going to see bands, than I suggest the Ottobar (north howard st. in Baltimore).
I also suggest once in a while taking the Metro out to DC. Every spring they have the National Cherry Blossom Festival. It happens when the cherry blossoms in DC bloom. It's a giant festival celebrating japanese culture in every which way. Food, little shop stands, entertainment and a parade.
I would also suggest going to see a DC United soccer game at RFK Stadium, but I usually get laughed at for actually liking soccer.
