I'll be spending 2 months in Croatia. What should I wear so that I look like I live there? Or at least like I am not from American.

In short, what do all the cool kids wear? Should this go in fashion?

A bulletproof vest (under your clothes of course).

We saved them 15 years ago, the Nazis did it 50 years before that.

Plus they're still pretty poor, plenty of bitches will sleep with you if they know you're American. They'll take everything out of your wallet but whatever.

Dubrovnik and Brella are the nicest.
The country is pretty touristy so they are used to foreigners.

Other nice areas nearby are Ljubljana in Slovenia, Sveti Stefan Hotel in Montenegro (an island off the Coast, very beutiful, near to where they set Casino Royale), and also Sarajevo and Mostar in Bosnia.

Don't have to wear anything special, just flash this sign a lot and smile at people, it's like their version of the V for victory sign.

A good kevlar jacket would help you blend in well.
Nothing flashy though, keep it simple.

saved? no, failed to capture war criminals 10 years on, yes

anyways. Dubrovnik is awesome, and as someone said, it is very touristy, but don't forget your manners, and learn some basic Croatian (we love that =D) if you go anywhere else though, be on your guard. its not all as safe as Dubrovnik

Be sure to greet everyone with Ubi Ustache, they'll love you for it.
