what the hell is there to do on the central coast of california. I'm smack in between san luis obispo and santa barbara, and I know there HAS to be something to do between the two of them where there will be wominz and culture, but for the life of me I can't figure out what it is...

if I was still in washington, I'd be eating at the pho than brothers, going to the viaduct in tacoma and el corazon in seattle, as well as a bunch of other stuff. but now that I'm here, it feels like everything worth while is in either san Fransisco or or LA, both of which are more then 3 hours away.

I've been to Santa Barbara before. There's nothing but old people.Go to LA man.

it's called monetary requirements. SOMETIMES, just sometimes you can find a house for less then you can find anywhere else, and your so far in debt that you have no choice but to take it because it's the only thing that will allow you to work your way out of debt.

or for other people it's a job.

If you can't figure out how to have a good time in some place without money, you're failing hard at this whole /trv/ thing.

didn't say there was no money available, I gave a reason for moving somewhere where there isn't anything to do. I actually grew up in this area, staying mostly north of the san luis/santa barbara county line.

TONS TONS TONS of hot chicks in Pismo. More in the summer and when school is out, of course. But I think the lack of anything to do is the main reason a lot of people love the central coast of CA. Unfortunately there are more and more people showing up which kinda ruins it for me.

i liked it when I had all my highschool friends, if there was nothing else available there was always bonfires at the beach south of the a.g. grand avenue beach. But now that I've gone away for 3 years, all the friends I had here are either gone, pot heads who do even less then me, or I've had some kind of drama with and don't really want to talk to.

I travel from sm to beulton for work, so I'm half heartedly drawn to the south side and santa barbara, but thats even less appealing to me then san luis. san luis kinda feels like washington/portland in a half hearted kind of way. right now my only plans are to try to go to the palm at least twice a month. maybe see about going to the billiards in pismo...
