Hey /trv/.

I'm going to Paris in about a month or so, and I'm interested in French gastronomy. What's there in Paris to eat that's both good and plentiful? I don't know much about French cuisine, so maybe /trv/ will give me some tips about what food to look for in Paris.

it depends if you are rich or not

just go to a restaurant where the menu is about 15€ it will be fine
there is so many things to eat that I can't make a list

Paris is expensive. When I went there I was on a very very tight budget and all I could eat was fucking Mcdonalds. I hope you can do better, OP.

OP here, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be on a pretty tight budget. This is bad news :(

make sure to go to Ste Michelle, along the Rue Des Artisans there are a lot of tiny local shops, it's actually the Latin Quarter, but you can find amazing street food for a good price, I remember getting a panini, crepe, and drink for 4 euro (three years ago)

Also check out the sandwich grecs, it's a sandwich with french fries in it and whatever meat that comes on those big sticks that they shave off. It sounds like fast food, but be sure to have just one. It is a great cap to a night of drinking.

KFC is in france, and it smells like nasty chicken. enjoy standing in line forever for your shitty american shit. also is Pizza Hut, and Dominoes. too bad it all sucks.

yeah, he's right, the latin quarter is ballin (metro stop st. michel) tons of gyro sandwich places, tons of chinese restaurants, and other shit
never pay more than 4 Euros for a panini or a sandwich. youre getting ripped off.
maybe you could concider grocery shopping, and having some french people you meet teach you some recipes. then you can teach them american (read: mexican) cuisine.

Anymore great tips like these?

OP here, thanks for the tips about Rue des Artisans, I'll check it out for sure. This is basically what I'm looking for, some good eating at a reasonable price. Panini + crepe + drink = 4 euros sounds pretty good.

Anymore food joints I should check out?
