>>3257 Yeah, I am caucasian. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly. Just walking down the street elementary, middle, and high schooled aged kids would say "hello!" to me, then all their friends would giggle when I said hello back. A group of kids on a field trip bombarded me with questions while in Gyeongju, a big tourist destination, even in Korea.
In Seoul everyone seemed cold though, but I think it is just with them being so crowded. People would often give slight nudges in packed subway cars to get you to move because when those doors open you better be moving if you're getting off. However, everyone I met there was very nice.
