So my parents are taking me to Canada in like a week. My question is:
Is there anything to do (besides the Falls) in Canada (we'll be in the Niagra Falls area)
What's the drinking age? (I'm 20)

lol I'm from Toronto and that area of boring as hell, only good thing is the wine.

The only places that are nice in Ontario is up north in the national parks and Sudbury... Toronto is a great place to live if you're downtown, everything is a 5 min walk away.

You need to go to British Columbia, the mountains and Vancouver Island is some of the best scenery in the whole world.

I'm in Ottawa, unless your an angst-ridden teen, you'll find the area really beautiful. Canada is a big fucking place so what you do depends on where you're going. Niagra is touristy, not my favorite place. It doesn't exactly represent anything about Canada seeing as it is shared with the States.

I'd reconsider going to Ontario and I'd head either all the way out West, to British Colombia (Vancouver Island, etc), or I'd go all the way out East, to the Maritime provinces like Prince Edward's Island or Nova Scotia. Quebec City in Quebec (original name, huh?) is one of my favorite places, so is Montreal. Very artsy and has awesome outdoor patios to drink.

Drinking age is 19 in most provinces, 18 in Quebec. Weed smoking age: everyone.

Comparing Toronto to New York means you have never been to New York. Toronto is cheap Chicago, all the touristy stuff with none of the depth.

Wow, man. Burn!

Seriously, I'll be damned if Kensington and especially the stuff on Queen W isn't becoming Touristastic. Only on the streetcars and the time you reach Osgoode do you start seeing natives again.

umm, maybe cuz it's the TRUTH!!! Deal with it. BC is the shit!

BC is for nigger hippies and white trash pothead teenagers.

In highschool all the above mentioned people talked about was moving to BC to be a snowboard instructor. FAR OUT.

10 years later they wonder why all they do is work retail and wallow in fail.

No. Vancouver is a dull, lifeless, overwhelmingly suburban burg filled with horrid architecture and the trash of Canada that thinks its a real city because it has pretty mountains.

Also, contrary to>>40172, there are no black people in BC. Mostly just white hippies and Chinese immigrants.

The CN tower is amusing for about thirty seconds, before you realize that once you're on the top, it'll be another hour before you get down.
