How possible would it be, for a Canadian-born man of Greek-Cypriot ancestry, to visit the Northern part of Cyprus without any trouble?

Very possible. Just use a fake passport that says you are a Canadian-born man of Turkish-Cypriot ancestry.

There would be no problem. But if you want to fly directly to Northern cyprus you need to do it via turkey

no problem at all, southerners can go to north without issues, however a northerner going to south is fucked - as a canadian you won't have any trouble.

Though, that doesn't mean you won't have any problems, TRNC officials stamp passports, so I dunno it might be an issue with some as the country isn't recognized by anyone.

You can go, just make sure you don't speak any Greek or they'll skin you alive.

You can go, Uncle is from the Republic and has been to the occupied areas to see his old home and stuff. Just dont spend any money there.

why do you wanna go there in the first place...all it has is turks after all....
Go to Ayia Napa take a few es and party hard...
Btw tis true that most people on the northen side speak mostly greek as their second language but they are not hostile at all...small economies welcome just anyone that is willing to even spend a few Lira there (and its quite cheap compared to the southern side)...apart from greek cypriots that is(you know they stole their houses killed a lot etc etc)
Anyway have fun in cyprus its a realy nice summer destination...
