It would be interesting, to say the least.
Algeria, Morocco, and Lebanon have tried to keep close ties with France, and historically all those countries were occupied by the french, and although in cases like Lebanon they had to fight a bit to get independance, the French backed out gently enough. (Of course, with Lebanon, it was being occupied along with Syria after WW1, and during WW2 the nazis were in charge)

Lol, like the Chinese are going to give tibet any rights.
They're going to flood the country with hans.
It's like as though in WW2, Japan invades and occupies china, kills off all the leaders, and they surrender, but instead of just keeping a military presence they begin immediately to send over millions of japanese, and get them all to have big, 10-20 people families to overpopulate the natives. That is what China is doing to Tibet. The Japanese and Chinese feel the same as the Chinese feel towards the Tibetans (A believes it is superior to B).
And you know what's the most insulting part of all this? Twice the Chinese were under attack by the Japanese in a massive conflict. And in the second time, the US and most of "free" Europe severed ties with Japan, who used to be an ally, then declared war, then fire-bombed Japan, then dropped TWO FUCKING NUKES ON JAPAN, SU annexes two parts of Japan, then finally fucking busts them to the ground to allow China freedom.
And you know what the chinks do right after? The communists win, the real chinese are forced to flee, and from that day on china hates the US.
China = double niggers of the highest order.
Next thing you know, they'll be going "LOL CANADA = NAZI FREE QUEBEC" even though this generation's Québecois seem to refuse independance, and rather want to remain Canadian, albeit in a higher position than other provinces.
