Any Norwegians that can give me the lowdown on what to do around Oslo?
I plan to be going sometime in November.

don't go to Oslo, the Statue Graden, Palace, Viking ship museuns, marina and fort and very nice.

But the city itself is not so special (doesn't berat copenhagen for example) and you have a 75% probability to enconter gang fights of no-Norwegian people arround downtown.

I recomend Bergen: better city, better people, better Fjords, better landscapes and its still a city. Not some area with houses in the mountatins

Vigeland Park!!! It's weird as hell, but on my Europe trip, it was the most impressive thing I saw (though I was somewhat sick at the time).

Also, yeah, the guy kicking babies thing is in that park.
