Driving from Philly to Orlando takes around 21 hours (not counting stops), it can be a fun drive if you make it fun. Chesapeake Bay Bridge (takes a bit longer, will add a a few hours but worth it to be on a bridge and not see land :O). Alexandria, VA is a beautiful little yuppie town/suburb.. you could also make a stop in Washington, tons to do there. If you get bored with I-95 get off and take 301 for a while, it's nearly parallel to 95 for the entire length but passes through some local towns and you can really see the rural areas, which make it more interesting. Not much to see in the Carolinas that's near 95, though there is South of the Border mini-themepark between the two Carolinas. But it's seen better days, the best part is the giant neon sombrero. Georgia is long and boring too, unless you like pine trees (no flames guys, Georgia really is boring). Shortly after crossing into Florida there's Jacksonville, not very interesting but big. South of Jax there's St. Augustine, the "Oldest city in the nation", lots of interesting things to see there (and eat, omg seafood). Past that is Daytona, surfer territory. It's in Daytona you'll wanna get off 95 and get on I-4 to take you to Orlando.
Long post is long. But I've done the drive from Jax to Philly almost every year for 12 years now (relatives).
