Easy jobs in Japan Anonymous
I want to go live in Japan for a year or two.

I already have a steady income from the internet, so all I need in Japan (to get a Visa) is the easiest, most stress-free low-hours job possible where I will still be sponsored for a Visa. I don't care how little it pays, it could even be volunteer work.

Unless there's another type of Visa I should be looking for...

English native, BA in linguistics, never had a real job.

Unless you know Japanese very fluently you won't get a visa. Besides that, the only real way to get a visa is if it's for/from a company, or you're becoming an English teacher. Japan is pretty anal concerning people living there with no real work/purpose.

How does one be a japanese pronstar?

Depending on what you income is, you can get a visa by doing a cultural study (Japanese language, karate, etc). I bet if you searched online you'd find somewhere relatively cheap and lax on attendance.

Another option would to go over with an eikaiwa and quit then keep the visa (I don't think they can take it away, although it will only be a one year visa.)

Otherwise, it's quite hard to get in but you could do JET, work for one year, and then chill on the remaining two of the visa they give you.

Not saying it's impossible but I haven't met foreign engineers in my time in Japan. Usually it's teachers, translators, IT, finance/business.
