hey im joining the USAF and thinking about trying to get stationed overseas in germany. can anyone tell me about their experiences living/ visiting the country?

i went there,didnt like it.the people were asshats,the food is bloody awful unless u like sausage.the scenery was ok.

Go for Italy. There's a base up north (Aviano), but for max fun try Naples. There's a NATO and Navy base there. Naples really has a lot of cool stuff to see (Pompeii, Mt.Vesuvius, Capri, Amalfi Coast is 1 hr drive south, Rome is 1 1/2 hrs drive north), and when you have leave time you can catch free flights to Germany at least 4 days a week. There's also military flights to Spain and Greece at least once a week. Can't fuckin' beat it.

yeah that might be cool, but germany has the autobahn and the 'ring, what made the people asshats? everything else ive seen said the people were cool (inb4 hitler) and the scenery is amazing. how bout german women any experience there?

I never said you should. Ever been to Minnesota? Germany is like that except a little warmer and a lot more cramped.
Italy on the other hand is a decent 2nd world country which I heartily recommend.
