Hey /trv/,

I'm planning to go to New York next year with my dad, in the vacation around July.
The thing is, I need to acquire a visum (some allowance thingy to get into the US or something). Does the fact that I have a police record until my 19th cause any potential problems?

As far as i know it could be a problem. Just call ur local american embassy for more info.
I know a friend of mine was denied entry into amerifag land. But he was convicted and served a prison sentence for a pretty violent crime. Im not sure the crime its self comes into consideration

They're pretty innocent, a small cellphone theft and something that's noted as 'thing's that aren't allowed'.

It's not a visum, it's a visa. And unless you're planning on staying for like 2+ months, you don't need a traveler's visa.

As for the rest of your question - yes, if you have petty theft on your criminal record, it will be more difficult to qualify for a visa, but not impossible.

Depends on what passport he has. Though judging by "visum" I guess he's German and thus should not need one.
