I'm going to be traveling around Latin and South America in a few months. My Spanish is pretty much non existent and I've been trying to prepare myself as much as I can before I leave. My goal is to be able to speak conversational Spanish so I can at least get my ideas across.I've tried programs like "The Rosetta Stone" but found it to be boring as hell:Pero. Pero. Pero. *click*I heard that Super Memo is good for learning languages. I was thinking about just inputting Spanish vocabulary and trying to memorize as much as I can.But anyways, what's are some good ways to learn conversational Spanish. I'm focusing on grammar and vocabulary.
See if a local group on Craig's List gets together to practice. Hang out with them.

>>82496Super Memo/Mnemosyne are great programs for learning vocab. I've been using it to help me learn some kanji and Japanese vocab. As for grammar conjugation, 501 Spanish Verbs is a good book to look at. See if there's a library you can check it out from.

try livemocha.comit's like rosetta stone but there's a lot more too it. you can just do writing programs, speech programs, or talk to people from the country that you are trying to learn their language.
