Portugal is high on my list of places to check out when I finally decide to explore outside the States. How's the cost of living there compared to the states, and how does their employers feel about immigrants who barely speak Portuguese?

After looking up some jobs, it seems quite a few require good English skills, with Portuguese being optional.
