>>78807 I second this. It matches most criteria:
* A generally low level of bureaucracy, state interference and "nannying"
Check
* A high level of social acceptance (absence of racism, sexism, homophobia, etc.)
Semi-check, there's some racism, homophobia, etc. but in general it's frowned upon.
* Either no state religion, or very low importance of religion in society
We have an official religion and all, but there's almost no religious nuts or very religious people. Also, you can announce you're an atheist without fear of discrimination and such.
* ACTUAL SEASONS (hot in winter, cold in summer) but with no "holy shit I'm dying" extremes
Check. It does get pretty damn hot in summer, though.
* Relatively uncomplicated to gain citizenship if I want to stay
Fucking check. Everyone can get in here, and that's actually a bad thing, mind you.
* Low level of state/police corruption
Sorry, this is a big problem here.
* Relatively low cost of housing/living
RELATIVELY is the key. It's expensive for us, but not nearly as expensive as some first-world countries.
I live in Buenos Aires, btw.
