Hey /trv/ !

I'm looking for a specific brand of guidebooks, but I can't remember the name of the brand. It's interesting because these guidebooks are really funny and cynical. I can't remember if they were very popular, but I think the ones I saw had black covers. They were kind of narrow. That's all I remember.

All the ones I have are boring and only give you hotel rates and local restaurants, etc, but these are just fun to read, especially when you're going to the places they talk about.

Anybody know what I'm talking about?

That's Frommer's, which is really old and conventional and has been pretty much obsoleted by the internet.
