I plan to go to Buenos Aires, Argentina on my motorcycle. What's the best path? What countries must I absolutely avoid?

I'm in the early stages of planning this. So bear with me.

I can navigate Mexico fairly well I've done it before. The countries that worry me are he most are the ones between Guatemala and Nicaragua what would be the best path for this region?

I speak Spanish. I'm not a gringo. Pic is a rough draft of the first part. Any modifications would be appreciated.

Also, any input on any of these countries would be greatly appreciated next post I'll explain what the second part of the trip might be like.

Second part.

I'll be hopping on a boat From Panama to Guayaqui Ecuador. (Fuck Colombia) Then easy breezy I guess.

Another thing, how are the main roads in the places I'll be passing? BTW I don't want any major distractions If there is something nice to see close to my travel route I can consider it so tell me.

My wife I have driven from the USA to Panama twice and for the most part there really is only one road, the Interamerican Highway. The only countries you can skip even if you wanted to are Belize and your choice of Honduras or El Salvador and most folks skip El Salvador. The drive is easy, the roads are great and paved all the way and the only hassle are the border crossings and they are only a small hassle. You can do that in 10 to 14 days.

Yeah you either had to take a boat to Colombia or Ecuador. I think Colombia would be a death sentence for you ha!

If you're a crazy motherfucker you would cross the darien on your bike. but you are not.

avoiding colombia is a good idea, peru is not safe either, and shit, and you're going to peru but not going to see machu pichu and cuzco, thats kinda dumb
when you get to chile you can consider yourself safe, the road santiago > andes > mendoza > buenos aires is very safe, the buquebus to you're going to take the buquebus to montevideo, go to colonia del sacramento first, im sure u gonna like that city, and then ride to montevideo (2,5 hours by motorcycle i guess)
u gonan run some risk in sao paulo again.. fuck i gtg to class lol bye

Actually more dangerous is Rio, today São Paulo is safer. But just don't go the slums and you'll be relatively good.

Gtg to class too, good luck, anon.

You should spend sometime in Chile before jumping to Argentina, both are the nicest countries in the continent

The Brazil, Central America and Peru parts of your trip seem to be the most dangerous, I'd plan very well for these countries because the state of the roads is lacking and the risk of crime is high.

The rest should be perfectly safe and easy. I've been told Argentina is like a small Europe.

that only rings true for Buenos Aires

Argentinians are really white though

and Cordova, Rosario (sp?), etc.
my friend brought pics.

OP, you should definitely check the waterfalls on the Brazilian border.

OP here how about if I land in a more southern part of peru skipping Ecuador or maybe skipping Peru too. Question : how long will the boat trip last?

Dude take the Dariens Gap it's relatively safe now even though EVERYONE will tell you opposite
