Next year I plan to travel, either to Portugal, Japan, or some other place with a target language of mine. I am considering working through the organization WWOOF and perhaps couch-surfing.My passions are linguistics and cultural anthropology. Challenging my worldview and building language skills are my main reasons for travelling.I am signed up as a full-time student this year earning transfereable general education credits at community college. It is not too late to cancel and receive a refund (it costs roughly $80 per credit, $1200 a semester). Should I work full-time and put off school to save up money for travel expenses?Due to certain circumstances I cannot do both concurrently. Night classes would likely interfere with my volunteer work (hospice/youth center).Thanks.
