9-1 is "barely above average"?
>> Tom Brady
>>484370
Yes. Look at the league this year. It blows. And you havent even had a difficult schedule for a Super Bowl championship team. The 49ers, the Seahawks, the Rams, the Bengals, the Steelers w/o Santonio Holmes and Willie Parker, the Cowboys with a hamstrung secondary and w/o Tony Romo.

The only legit win you have is against the Eagles. The Redskins are a flash in the pan, they've proved it this year. Campbell can't carry the team and Portis is on and off hurt.

Barely above average. Get over it.

I hope the Cardinals shit all over the Giants.

Giants aren't even that good. Compared to some other teams, a cake schedule, and a fluke Super Bowl win.
>> Anonymous

>>484490
And Sneak, what exactly do you have to say? Any way to prove me wrong, or just continue demonstrating that you're a gigantic faggot

Giantsfags need a wake up call, and Arizona's gonna give it to you, hard and fast.

You beat the Pats on a fluke, your team hasn't played anyone of consequence this year, and you're acting like your team is worth shit?

And for the record, I'm not a Patsfag. I just posted as Tom Brady to see how fast 18-1 went up.

Also, guess who else is gonna be 18-1 if you win today Giantsfags? Your season, fucked in the ass by the... Cleveland Browns? A huge accomplishment in failure.
>> Anonymous
>>484550

I sure hope the giants go 18-1 this year. i could care less who the loss was to. At least it wouldn't have been in the super bowl.
>> Anonymous
>>484561
That's right, it's better to lose to the best team from the other conference than to one of the shittiest from the other.

Patriots were a better team, indisputable fact. While 18-1 was epic fail and quite hilarious, I'm tired of dumbass Giantsfags acting like their team is the shit.
>> Anonymous
>>484550You beat the Pats on a fluke, your team hasn't played anyone of consequence this year, and you're acting like your team is worth shit?

Was it a fluke when the Giants stormed through the Bucs, Cowboys and Packers previous to taking out the Pats too? Were all four victories against "better" teams flukes too?

If a team is 9-1 you can't pull the "easy schedule" card because no team is going to have nine easy games out of ten. By the way, the Giants are undefeated in division games and play in what is widely considered the most competitive division in the NFL. Also, the remaining opponents the Giants face have the highest combined winning percentage of any schedule in the NFL.

And I guess wins against Dallas, Washington, Philly and the Steelers are all flukes too?
>> Anonymous
>>484567That's right, it's better to lose to the best team from the other conference than to one of the shittiest from the other.

Which outcome produces a Super Bowl ring, faggot?
>> Anonymous
>>484469And you havent even had a difficult schedule for a Super Bowl championship team.

Week 8 thru 16 schedule: PIT, DAL, PHI, BAL, ARI, WAS, PHI, DAL, CAR.

there's no other team in the league that has as tough a 9 week stretch

Good, maybe when they lose to these high win percentage teams, they'll bottom out and be horrible again.
>> Sneak !!+y8MDiWrdyT
>>484550

The Giants are 9-1 and easily in the top 3 teams this year.

As for the Super Bowl, it was no fluke. The last regular season game, Pats beat the Giants 38-35, hardly a convincing victory. The Super Bowl was a toss-up, and the Giants defense stepped up huge in the playoffs, beating the Bucs, Cowboys, and Packers (all of them road games)

The Giants this year are 9-1 (possibly 10-0 if they had Osi), and last time I checked, that means something, especially in a division as competitive as the NFC East.

I'll admit the Giants SOS isn't world-beating (16th based on win %) but they are winning games and that's all that matters. They have a better record than 30 other NFL teams.
>> Anonymous
>>484607
yes, horrible teams often start 9-1 after knocking off two 13-3 teams and then a 16-0 team in three straight weeks
>> Anonymous
FACT : Giants are fucking awesome
>> Anonymous
>>484582

You must mean beating the Cowboys (I've said this already) without Romo, when Roy Williams still hadn't fully worked into the offense, when half of the secondary was out hurt, and when it is widely accepted that the Cowboys are finished? Yup good win.

Next, the Redskins. You beat them 16-7. Congrats. Big win. You sure proved how awesome your team is with 16 points.

Now the Eagles. gave up 31 to them and were victorious on some very lucky defensive errors and with Donovan McNabb making some VERY stupid decisions.

The Steelers? Are you serious? You played them w/o Willie Parker or Santonio Holmes, two of their largest offensive producers. That;s like playing against the 2000 Rams w/o Isaac Bruce and Marshall Faulk. Nothing to be impressed by.

The NFL blows right now. Fact. You're really disputing you have an esay schedule? rams seahawks browns 49ers I could go on.

You've gotten dead-ass lucky with the teams you played, considering you usually played teams with huge portions of their offense hurt or just teams that suck.

And I didn't say running through the NFC last year was a fluke. I was very impressed. But the Giants ARE NOT the gods of football you have deluded yourselves into thinking they are.

who's better? your argument just seems to be that every team in the NFL sucks.

again, if you think the Giants have an easy schedule - Week 8 thru 16 schedule: PIT, DAL, PHI, BAL, ARI, WAS, PHI, DAL, CAR
>> Anonymous
>>484611
Finally someone reasonable.
Yes, you are 9-1. and you are about 70% to go 10-1.

You are also definitely the best team in the NFC. But that isn't saying very much. The only reason the NFC east is considered so competitive is because ALL THE OTHER DIVISIONS BLOW.

Case in point - NFC West, who the Giants happen to play this year. Horrible division, basically free wins.

And they've played teams who've been wracked by injuries in central positions, except Baltimore which was a public beating.
>> Anonymous
>>484643
And if they run the table I will CONSIDER changing my opinion.

And honestly I'm not sure there are any better teams. Yes, my argument is that most of the NFL sucks because it does. Pay attention. The AFC is TERRIBLE. This is beyond dispute. Two standouts, the Jets and Titans, are the only reason there is even discussion of a competitive Super Bowl.

Second, the NFC really does blow. except for the Panthers, Falcons, Eagles and Giants, the conference sucks. So what is that, 6 decent teams out of 32? Yes, the league sucks this year.
>> Anonymous
>>484664

>Panthers, Falcons, Eagles and Giants

woah, you seem to have misspelled 'cardinals', as there is no 'p' in cardinal, and you have also misspelled 'cowboys', as there is obviously no 'e' sound in the word.

you probably shouldve stayed in school, kid.. :(
>> Anonymous
>>484664And if they run the table I will CONSIDER changing my opinion.

Okay well they're halfway there.

the only real threat to them NOT going 15-1 in the regular season is the Panthers
>> Anonymous

>real threat
>panthers

gentlemen, this is a troll.
>> Sneak !!+y8MDiWrdyT
>>484649

Just to let you know, I'm a Packerfag/

Second, the NFC South competitive (in a good way) as well. The Falcons are doing surprisingly well, the Panthers are back on track, the Bucs are doing just fine, and if the Saints get their act together...well they're still in the hunt. Also, yes the NFC West is shit except the Cards, and the NFC North is mediocrity defined unless one of the teams gets on a long winning streak.

It's not the Giants' fault they've been playing injured teams, and few expected the Seahawks, the usual NFC West top banana, to be such a dissapointment. I'll give you St. Louis and San Fran though, but the Cards are finally looking like a competitive NFL team for the first time since they last made the playoffs.

But yeah, the league is kinda...off this year.

The Arizona Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys are a threat to the Giants? Are you fucking kidding?

The Cardinals will most likely get ROCKED today. I dont want it to happen but it probably will.

And the Cowboys suck dick you pathetic excuse for a sports fan. They fucking COLLAPSED. I doubt they get 10 wins this year the way they are playing.

btw, I'm responding to a troll and I know it.

>>484704

As a Bearsfag, I agree with the assessment of the North. I mean shit, the Lions mathematically still have a chance of winning the division.
>> Billy the Blue Ranger !5lGrhM17rM
Every time I read about how this or that team was injured and therefore never had a chance to win. Everybody is injured fools, also it's a 53 man roster. Step up and play! Depth is a key for any team to have a successful season!
>> Anonymous
>>484743
Yes that's right, because every backup running back should be able to run like Larry Johnson or LaDainian Tomlinson.

And every lineman can be Jevon Kearse IF HE TRIES HARD ENOUGH!!!

And every corner back can be like Champ Bailey if he believes in himself!!!

Fucking troll.
>> Billy the Blue Ranger !5lGrhM17rM
>>484755
Giants backups can play at a high level, that's one of the reasons for their success, last year and this year. That was my point. The fact that you missed it is kind of funny.

aw, the little bitch is cranky :"(

shit too REAL for ya, cranky little bitch?

panthers are overrated shit, eagles are fucking awful, the cardinals are beasts, and the cowboys are super bowl bound, get the fuck out of here, you little bitch.
>> Anonymous
>>484768
Oh Billy I didnt miss your point, my point is that backups will never play as well as a starter. That's the reason they are a BACKUP.

If the Giants have great depth, more power to them. But not every team has that depth.

Step up and play is a meaningless line that idiots like you spit to avoid admitting that certain injuries kill teams. example the New England Patriots / Dallas Cowboys. quarterback goes down, both teams suddenly are nothing near what they were the year before.
>> Anonymous
>>484790
Awwwww, what, did the meeting of the dallas cowboys bandwagon break up early? You have no idea what the fuck you are talking about,

The Cowboys are fucking garbage, they are last in their division, and have no chance whatsoever at a wild card berth.

And honestly, how can you have that kind of faith in the Cardinals. We've all seem them act like the real deal and then relapse back into the Arizona Cardinals we know and love to lol at.

Can't believe your bitchass even showed up.

How does it feel to know that your team has been absolutely dismembered all year? How does it feel to know that you know shit about football and have no place to say anything?

Shut the fuck up and get the fuck out, thank you very much. Your single post has accomplished nothing other than to drag me away from watching the Titans Jets game for 10 seconds.
