How often does fan interference affect games in America? It doesn't seem like something that happens often.

rare

but fun when it does happen

It happens more than you think, but only when it really affects a big play, like a homerun or something, that you'll hear about it.

It happens once in a while in baseball, its harder for an away player to catch a foul ball in the stands.

And in hockey you can smack a player through the boards when he's against them. It definitely hurts you way more but it helps you release your anger at someone who dared work for a corporation from another city

Once I got awesome front-row seats in the corner and Sean Avery was fighting for the puck with another player against the boards right in front of me. Should've smacked the fucker right there.

In Philadelphia, me and my boy had seats right next to the opposing bench. Jamie Storr was the back up goalie that night, and sat right in front of us, so we broke his balls the whole game. We're Philly fans, so we rode him pretty hard, but he ignored us completely. He was like five feet from us, he could hear us plain as day, but he never even flinched.

Well, the Flyers were up 2-0 when Kings suddenly scored twice in like three minutes. My friend and I were paying attention to the Kings players celebrating on the ice, so Jamie Storr reached over the glass, tapped my friend on the arm, and mouthed "Fuck you" to both of us.

I always liked him after that.
