Força Celtic reporting in. We have won eleven in a row domestically. All in the midst of an injury crisis. We have an attitude, a will to win. We were unlucky as hell not to take a result from Villareal. We knew Old Trafford was going to be difficult, but the offsides goals killed our spirit that had looked so good. But tonight in Denmark is when Celtic finally break their curse.

It was just a decade ago when Celtic broke the curse of Rangers' success in Scotland, and stopped their quest for ten championships in a row. Now we stop the curse of our woes in the Champions League on the road.

Aalborg 0-2 Celtic (Brown 42' Samaras 65')
Villareal 1-2 Man United (Rooney 54' 86' G. Rossi 70')

As a Canadafag who was in Glasgow for a few months, I didn't get why the Rangers and Celtic hated each other, don't both their teams suck internationally?

To me its like two nerds arguing over who's going to take their sister to the prom.

Englishfag here, i watch alot of SPL though. Seems to me that you only win because the refs are always on your side.

>>489884

Its a politicla and religious division over Northern Ireland, Britishness, Protestantism and Catholicism from what i understand.

Basically a huge load of bullshit, both fans are as bad as each other. But especially praising the IRA and UVF is totally out of order.

Both Celtic (2003?) and Rangers (2008) have got to the final of a European cup competition in the past 5 years. But both lost due to playing supremely shit.

But seriously the bias for the old firm in Scotland is worse than the bias for the big four in England. Hell it's nearly as bad as 1950's Spanish ref Real bias.

Rangers fan here, i agree. Both Celtic and Rangers seem to get a disproportionate amount of the decisions.

I mean look at our game against Dundee United last season, or the fact that this season Celtic have played 40% of their domestic matches against 10 men...

Its insane bias =/

well he won't get better sitting on the fucking bench, all the while his confidence and fitness wilt away. I've just about fucking had it with this five in midfield shit in Europe, no wonder we don't score, and have a decidedly dodgy away record in Europe. I hope I can eat my words later tonight, but fuck me, this sort of shit is pissing me off with SAF.

Celtic have really done a lot to eradicate the extremist elements of the irish republican community from the club. we are very proud of our heritage through, but we dont stand for racism or bigotry. Sir David Murray, 20 years of unsurpassed hatred and bigotry from Rangers football club. From Nazi salutes in Israel, to their Spanish thrashings of Barcelona and Pamplona, to the horrendous rioting in Manchester this May.

This we are not. We are routinely complimented by footballing authorities worldwide, and we are welcomed with open arms throughout Europe.

Rangers are a cunts hair away to getting the ultimate banhammer from UEFA, and they can say goodbye to European football for a long, long time

/redirect

Celtic are clearly outplaying AaB and they are looking dead set for the challenge. They should win as they have held the majority of posession, and they have had numerous scoring chances. Samaras hasnt looked great though, and Strachan could elect to bring on the next Irish hope, Cillian Sheridan. Young Sheridan has looked great in the league and has scored a number of goals in his recent run in the first team. He has played well with McDonald up front lately and the two could really link up well against Aalborg's defense. Strachan should also think about putting on fit again Aiden McGeady, and his wizardry might be enough to win the match

STAND UP FOR THE CHAMPIONS!!!!! HERE'S TO FOUR IN A ROW AND ONWARDS IN EUROPE!!!!!
