18-1 is not the biggest failure of all time. It was lulzy, and it was an epic fail, but there is a fail far larger than the failure that was 18-1.

The Buffalo Bills losing 4 straight Super Bowls is the biggest sports failure of all time. To add insult to injury, the Bills had one of these Super Bowls by the balls but failed to squeeze. Three words: Scott fucking Norwood.

Continue to laugh at 18-1. Continue to laugh at Bill Belechick. Continue to laugh at Tom Brady. I'll join you and happily laugh along with you. But NEVER forget, that the Bill's 4 straight Super Bowl losses is a larger failure. If the year was 1995, and /sp/ existed, we'd be singing a whole different tune right now.

I agree OP. The 4 straight losses was a larger failure but I think /sp/ likes 18-1 more because most Billsfags are either in hiding or not total homos.

You faggots don't get it. NOTHING tops 18-1. The 07 Pats had the chance to go down as the greatest football team of all-time, if not the greatest team in any sport, ever. And they blew it. To Eli Manning.

It was the greatest choke job in the history of sports.

bills 4 in a row would have made them the best team ever

but im 19 so 18-1 is all i know and care about

also 18-1

4 super bowl losses = epic underachievement

18-1 = epic fail

>>186254this explains why

1) Bills didn't cheat
2) Marv Levy is a million times more likable than Bill Belicheat
3) Despite their AFC dominance the media wasn't using words like 'dynasty' and 'best ever' and 'destiny' to describe them.
4) They lost to some legendary teams
5) 18-1.

Bills were just the class of a weaker conference. Patriots were a bunch of media darlings who were too busy smelling each others farts to win a game that was theirs for the taking.

not from the area, but i guess they're not a 2ndary or 3rd fav team

i just can't root for them 100% b/c they make stupid mistakes. or they still have the spectacular way of losing

if i was a bills fan, then last season would've been heart breaking

cowboys MNF game
broncos running out w/THE last sec kick (never seen that in history of the NFL, swore they were gonna get a TO or not get it off)
browns gutter blizzard bowl
giants game

so many heartbreakers. which is why i can never fully support them. not to mention everett, JP LOLsman, trent edwards, dick jauron, etc...

OP is obvious 18-1fag. the bills are just in a cursed city. they'll never win. the sabres will never win. somewhere, at some place in history, the city sold it's soul, and the price is heartbreaking sports

The Buffalo Bills represent Buffalo, NY, a small blue-collar town in upstate NY.

The New England Patriots represent the City of Boston- filled with bandwagoners and generally annoying people. They also represent the region of New England- the smuggest area on Earth not in California.

18-1 is far more lulzy

Ahhh, we've finally arrived at the next Eighteen tactic: attempts to supplant 18-1 as the biggest fail in the history of football.

Yes, Wide Right IS massive fail. And it probably was THE gold standard of fail....until 18-1 came along.

The Bill face the....
Giants (15-3) Bills (15-3)
Redskins (16-2) Bills (15-3)
Cowboys (15-3) Bills (14-5)
Cowboys (14-4) Bills (14-4)

The Bills were = if not worst the the super bowl opp.

Giants (13-6) Pats (18-0)

Epic Fail!

It also helps that the Eighteens only seem to get more and more full of themselves due to all the recent championships.

I wish I could have been there (Boston) when Manning threw that final TD pass to Burress. The collective swearing was probably audible for miles in all directions.

clearly, you'v never been to WNY

the sad part is, after the game, there was no real rage. it was just acceptance. nobody was surprised that they lost

that's how broken the city's spirit is when it comes to sport

but even then, we're still one of the most loyal cities in pro sports. pretty sure we're #2, after green bay, for tailgating, and that's only b/c their fans fucking own the team. easily top5 in the nhl. mostly after canadian teams and detroit. i'd say (leafs, habs, wings, and vancouver in no particular order)

like a redheaded stepchild, we keep coming back. no matter how bad the beatdown can be

slight side note; buffalo gets kick in the nuts again, with the NFL taking away a HOME GAME to play in toronto for the next X years

city gets shat on all the time

Fans owning the team is a beautiful concept. Seriously, you should try to wrestle control of the team from your owner, lest he take your team to Toronto or some shit.

By the way, what the fuck was up with their uniform change? You had a good red/white/blue concept fucked up by darkening the blue, adding grey, and adding that faggy shoulder coloring. It's like you imported yourself out of the Canadian League or some shit, dude!
