See this picture? This is from a double-overtime playoff game. The Panthers won this game to go to the NFC Championship.

They played the Eagles in that game for the right to go to the Super Bowl.

Apparently the Eagles QB was totally oblivious as to what occured in the game the week before involving the team that would kick his ass.

lulz

>"I guess we're aware of it now," McNabb said. "In college, there are multiple overtimes, and in high school and Pop Warner. I never knew in the professional ranks it would end that way. I hate to see what would happen in the Super Bowl and in the playoffs."

He didn't know in the playoffs you keep playing until there's a conclusion, DESPITE THE FACT THAT HE PLAYED A TEAM IN THE NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME THAT HAD GOTTEN TO THAT POINT BECAUSE THEY HAD WON IN DOUBLE OT THE WEEK BEFORE.

Holy shit, OP, thanks for reminding me of that game. This makes McNabb look even stupider.

You have a terrible memory and are also too lazy to look up what is easy to verify.

Um, those are the Rams behind him in that picture. Not the Eagles.

No one should ever forget Philly losing three straight championship games. It was the ultimate triumph of good over evil.

See this picture? It is one of the many NFC Championship games the Eagles lost.

As a Tampa native (thus a lot of interest in the Bucs) and one of the millions who hate the Eagles and their fans, that game was one of the sweetest moments of my young life.

I will never, ever forget Ronde Barber returning a pick for the game-sealing touchdown as the Vet crowd went stone-cold silent in their last game there ever.

Epic.

No, you're just bad at reading. And you also have, apparently, a terrible memory and/or knowledge of recent NFL history.

You definitely don't get it, but it's not a joke.

More like, at first I thought that McNabb was joking when he said he never knew about a tie in the NFL and "what would happen in the playoffs"

By the way didn't that game went double overtime because there was some flag on the field goal attempt? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong

That Rams - Panthers game was great.

Then the Championship was a total letdown.

How can a playoff game where the Eagles lose be a let down?

That game was fucking epic. Steve Smith for the long TD and I creamed my pants in half hour intervals for the next week just thinking about that game. OOOOO WAIT
I just did it again. FUCK YEAH

I could say how impressive the Panthers were to go to the Super Bowl and blah blah blah etc etc.

Instead, 18-1.

I could say how awesome Delhomme is at throwing interceptions, but instead I'll say 18-1, because Bawwston can suck it.

As a fellow Panthers fan that lives in Philly, let me say "Epic Win" for you and "Epic Fail" for Philly. Andy Reid is one of the five worst coaches in the league, and I don't think I can be convinced otherwise.
