Peter Gammons said C.C Sabathia for Evan Longoria straight up is a real possibility.

Imagine that.

Tampafag here.

Oh, fuck that. I'd rather keep my rookie of the year then trade for Fatassia.

C.C is an FA at the end of the year.

Tampa cannot afford him.

Evan is signed for dirt cheap for 7 years.

Evan has MVP, Gold Glove potential.

Tell me how this even benefits Tampa AT ALL?

Same Tampafag here... been a baseball fan since 1998 actually

I'm WELL aware that Sabathia was the Cy Young winner last year but the Rays DO NOT need anymore pitching, although Garza is sometimes a little shaky.

Sabathia also doesn't look as good as he did last year, I figure they Yanks and Sox will just go on a Money-War for him with one team just giving up at the end*most likely the Sox)

Longoria, on the other hand, is, like I said a candidate for AL ROY and has pulled the Rays out of a more then a few jams this year.

the rays are missing the most integral part of a world series team - the fat lefty starter, and sabathia can provide that

There's always the alternative...he's not a lefty but he sure is fat...

My Brewers are looking into acquiring the services of the mighty corpulent one.

I hope they have the mental wherewithal to steer their passions away from this dark Salary-cap ingester.
