"Come to me Brett, this is why I kept that 35 Million under the cap. It's ALL yours."

TampaFag here who happens to be a Saintfag. My Friend who works for the Bucs training facility informs me that the Bucs plan to be all over Farve should he be released. Last time I checked, they still have 35 mil laying around. So im sure this is going to be fun on where he goes.

He's not going to be released, they'll bring him back and trade him.

I say trade him to Miami or Oakland to let him rot in football hell. Or to Atlanta, because I will be at the Packers-Falcons game in October, and I want to see the Packers beat the shit out of him for putting my team through this shit.

>and I want to see the Packers beat the shit out of him for putting my team through this shit.

Giving your team 16 years of consistency and winning a Super Bowl? Geez what a douchebag that guy is.

Things will be very interesting if Favre does end playing in Tampa, especially their Week 4 matchup at Tampa, which I plan on going to.

if he went to Tampa, what would they do with Garcia?

Brett can go anywhere outside the NFC North.

I am pissed at him for putting the team in this position though. I would have no problem if he just came out and said he wanted a trade at the beginning of all this but to retire, unretire, issue a statement saying he demands an unconditional release and all this bullshit is just retarded. We're running a football team here not a fucking circus. We're good enough to get to the super bowl without you right now Brett so stop jerking us around.

What makes you think Brett would negotiate a new contract with those teams?

You forget that Brett was the sole reason we lost in Dallas and the NFC championship game.

We'll be as good without Brett as with him at this stage in his career thanks to Ryan Grant, Charles Woodson, AL Harris, Nick Collins, AJ Hawk, Nick Barnett, Aaron Kampman, Donald Driver, and Greg Jennings.

>Ryan Grant

We'll see how effective he is when they don't have a passing game to take the pressure off of him. That offense managed to make SAMKON GADO look good ffs.

You Packerfags are all ungrateful fucks.

My team (the niners) would be GLAD to have Aaron Rodgers as a starter.

You're forgetting that Brett was the reason you guys were even in the championship game.

lol

if he doesn't get hurt
>Greg Jennings
had one good year under Farve
>Donald Driver
won't be good without Farve.

Considering you misspelled Favre twice how can I take you seriously?

And Ryan Grant had 201 rushing yards in 3 quarters against Seattle in his first ever NFL playoff game do fuck off. Charles Woodson has missed 0 games as a member of the Green Bay Packers.

As a Seahawksfag, I will say that doesn't mean much. Our D is shit, and our tackling in that game was actually worse than usual. We didn't do bad in the regular season rankings, but considering who we played it is made to look much better than it really was.

p.s. how many fumbles did he lose in that game? It seems like it was two of three.
>> Anonymous
>>212553
First play of the game he lost one, fourth play of the game he lost another. I was at that game and that's what made it so much more impressive, that he would lose fumbles on two of his first three carries of the game, and then go for 201 yards and 3 TDs.
>> Anonymous
We'll be happy to take Brett down in Tampa.
It'll be nice to have a quarterback that Gruden can't ruin with his unbelievably shitty coaching.
>> Anonymous
Speaking of Ryan Grant, what did he do against the Giants? Let's go to the stat sheet...

13 Att, 29 Yds, 2.2 Avg
1 Rec, -3 Yds

so despite the fact he ran on only 13 of 49 total offensive plays, he only managed to get 29 yards with a 2.2 avg. that's pretty lol.
>> Anonymous
>>212572
Everyone has an off game. Let's take a look at his stats for last year.
956 yards
8 TDs
5.1 Avg

IN ONLY 7 GAMES

Fuck off fag, if Grant would have started all 16 he would have been in contention for the 2000 yard mark.
>> Anonymous
>>212582
Case in point, Brett Favre. He had an off game, but he was nowhere NEAR as bad as Grant against the Giants. So who gets the finger pointed at for that loss?

Brett Favre, of course
>> Anonymous
>>212606
Ryan Grant didn't throw the interception in overtime that gave the Giants the ball on the fucking 25 yard line.
>> Anonymous
>>212582
With a 5.1 rushing average? That's pretty good, but he had no chance in hell of hitting 2000 even if he had started every game.
>> Anonymous
>>212607
He failed to get back to the LOS in the red zone on 3rd & 3. The resulting FG was the last score in regulation, causing the game to be tied up.

He was also so ineffective that the Packers had to abandon the running game.

But yeah, let's just pretend the INT was the only important play of the game.
>> Sneak !!+y8MDiWrdyT
>>212612

Actually...

956 x (16/7) = 2185, so if he had played all 16 games and was as productive in the 9 he didn't start as the 7 games he did, he would have broken the single season rushing record by 80 yards.
>> Anonymous
>>212624
He only started 7, but he had significant number of rushes in several other games. His avg would have also more than likely dropped with an increased number of carries and playing against a defense that was concerned with stopped the Packers' ground game.

At a 5.1 avg, he would have needed 392 carries, which is way more carries than anyone else in the entire NFL had. In fact, it would be close to the NFL record for carries in a single season.
>> Sneak !!+y8MDiWrdyT
>>212630

Now that I looked at his numbers, I see your point. You'd need to run an average of 131.6 yards per game throughout the regular season to break the record, and if a RB had an average of 20 carries per game, he'd need 6.58 ypc.
