Daily Fluke thread.

Prediction: Cliff Lee doesn't sniff a 120 ERA+, yet will win 12 games with a post 4 ERA and people will still call him an 'ace' because all the pitchers on the Indians will suck even more than Fluke Lee.

The Indians are going to need somebody else than Cliff Lee.

Krod is tied for most blown saves this season. He's the best closer there is this year!

One person won't help them much. They need at least 2 more decent pitchers in their rotation and some decent bats in their lineup.

It's all speculative though, because who knows if Lee will be able to do this again next year. He might be decent like the rest of his career, but he usually has a down season after one like this.

You know who they really need. C.C.

Why? So he can choke in the playoffs again?

Lee will never reproduce the numbers he has this year, but since he reworked his delivery I think he can be counted on being an All-Star every year, sub 3.00 ERA. Next year's rotation is a mystery because we have about 20 pitchers vying for it and Westbrook is hurt. I expect-

Lee

Carmona
Scott Lewis (Rookie, has had 3 really good starts so far (1.50 ERA) but that won't hold. He's a solid 3 at best.
JEREMY FUCKING SOWERS =(

With Westbrook taking over for Sowers when he get's back.

Hopefully Hafner doesn't suck, and Acab and Choo keep up their numbers like they've had since the break (protip- they're good). LaPorta should be coming up too.

Indians win the division next year. Mark my fucking words.

With that division, they really wouldn't need much. To move in the playoffs, they need some veteran bats.

Because Sizemore, Martinez (assuming he's healthy), and possibly Hafner aren't enough? Give the team some credit, they were a game away from the World Series last year and would have made it if it wasn't for their Mets-like collapse.

In the NL, that might be enough, but they'll end up facing teams full of bats in the playoffs. They really could use another veteran in that lineup that can hit it out of the park.

Kinda like that one guy for the Rays, right?

Let him fluke one more time today against the Red Sox.
