The New England Patriots lose for the second straight year in the Super Bowl to an NFC Wild Card team and finish 18-1. Matt Leinart becomes the new Eli Manning. Larry Fitzgerald made the most dramatic play with an acrobatic catch over Rodney Harrison when he had to hold the ball against his helmet.

Kansas City: Easily the worst team in the 08-09 season. W

New York (Jets): LOL. W

Miami: Hell, why don't we just HAND THE AFC CHAMPIONSHIP to the Pats right now? W

San Francisco: Despite what you might of heard, SF is up and coming. Not like Smith is god or anything, but they can put them in trouble. Not like they'll win or anything. W

San Diego: I smell revenge. This is the game everyone and their grandmother circled for them to lose for their first lost of the season. I have to follow suit. L

Denver: It is very unclear as to how Denver has put up so many wins against the Pats in recent history, but the way the Broncos organization has ran in the past couple years, this will change. W

St. Louis:: It's almost like this scheduled was manufactured for the Pats to go nearly loss lees. W

Indianapolis: YES, we all have this game circled and we will all watch it like it was the fucking Super Bowl or something. Perfect oppertunity to pick up their second loss. L

Buffalo: Underrated team, but NO. W

Jets: W

Miami: W

Pittsburgh: Despite what you might of heard on TV/Radio/Newspaper, the Steelers suck ALL HELL. I owuld give you in-depth analysis of why New England would win this, but do I have to convince you? W

Seattle: I can see New England losing this. I don't know what kind of running game they'll have at this point of time, but Seattle gives the most unsuspecting teams troubles. Espeically IN seattle. L

Oakland: LOLWUT. W

Arizona: another one of those games I can see them losing, but will ultimatly win as they gear up to secure home-field for the playoffs. W

Buffalo: This game is a good toss-up. At this point, Buffalo should be fighting for their playoff lives while the PAts will be resting all their starters. I see a loss. L

Final Tally: 12 - 4

As one of few Cardinals fans, I hope that happens.

KC @ NE - Relative cakewalk. They'll put up some points because of mediocre run defense, but: NE 31, KC 17
NE @ NYJ - Spygate fallout. Belichick will go all-out. NE 49, NYJ 21
MIA @ NE - Easy. NE 27, MIA 7
NE @ SF - Easy again. Christ! NE 31, SF 20
NE @ SD - First relatively tough matchup. NE 31, SD 27
DEN @ NE - Denver will pose a challenge. Honestly, this could go either way.
STL @ NE - NE 27, STL 17
NE @ IND - Tough. Very tough. Can't call it right now.
BUF @ NE - Buffalo could take one of the two matchups. They're pretty scrappy. BUF 24, NE 20
NYJ @ NE - No mercy. NE 42, NYJ 24
NE @ MIA - NE 31, MIA 17
PIT @ NE - Wait, wasn't this last year? NE 24 PIT 17
NE @ SEA - NE 35, SEA 24
NE @ OAK - Oh wow. NE 81, OAK 3
ARI @ NE - NE 41, ARI 14
NE @ BUF - End of year. Pats will rest most starters. NE 24, BUF 21

Remember Mangini was a coach with Bellicheat for a while before he left and got his own gig with the Jets. Also, a few seasons ago, maybe the one before last, the Jets DID beat the Pats, I remember because the way Bellicheat shook Mangini's hand at the end of the game was totally funny and awkward. I wouldn't give the Pats the go ahead 100% gonna win that game pass.

You're serious? Denver? You're fucking retarded.

Also, 1-15, only win coming against Miami.

Did you just start watching the NFL this year? NE only has like 3 wins over Denver ALL TIME. The most painful being the 2005 divisional loss where Brady got picked in the endzone by Champ.

Also I enjoyed your prediction.

Denver traditionally didn't suck total fucking ass those years. They are going to this year. It's inevitable.

Basically, for the past 8 years or so, DEN > NE > IND > DEN has been the balance of power in the AFC

But of course the Pats and Colts won Super Bowls and the Broncos only ever got to the AFC title game before choking

Best case for Pats: 16-0 winning it all. Truthfully, its not that hard cuase of their division. There only challenging games are the Colts, Steelers, and Chargers. And they are all possible even without alot of luck.

Worst Case: 11-5. This is if they drop all 3 of the hard games, then maybe 2 more agaisnt the Broncos/Seahawks/Bills.

With the schedule, and strength of team, they have already locked up a playoff spot, and probably a bye. 18-1 all ya want, but they are heavy favorites.

NYJ might give Pats a run for their money this year after their excellent off-season moves.

Then again, this is the Jets I'm talking about here (and I'm a Jetsfag, so I know first hand)

NFL scheduling system is so dumb

Why not just play each team in the conference once (with home and away alternating every year), and each team in division home and away each year
that would make 18 games

9-7 if they lose every single game that won't be handed to them on a silver platter. Sorry but you'll be seeing them in the playoffs yet again. Best case scenario I see is 14-2 tho so no undefeated bullshit this year.

Miami almost always upsets NE once a year, I love those games.

ALso, Detroit, no linger being under their 50-year curse, will win 3 straight Super Bowls without the use of Videotape, AND go 19-0 their third one.

Oh man, I BARELY made it through that without laughing my ass off.

You joking? Calvin Pace sucks. He had a decent year and suddenly everyone thinks he's great.

SPOILER: He's not going to get more than 5 sacks

Gholston is a gigantic hit or miss, and Faneca is getting old. The only additions that are sure things are Kris Jenkins [great player, but needs to be surrounded by great talent (julius peppers, mike rucker)] and Damien Woody.

I really don't see them getting past .500.
