lol, the IOC recognizes dancing, chess, and life saving as olympic sports but not american football.

There's probably some reason for that. I'm not an Amerifag so I don't know but it's probably not just a case of "lol the sport sucks".

you're an idiot. That's the British IOC. It's different for every country. You'll notice they also have cricket on that list, even though CRICKET'S NOT AN OLYMPIC SPORT.

maybe because only americans play american football. everywhere else it's called rugby.

protip: none of these sports are Olympic events.

Rather, I think they are prominent sports in the UK that are just that...non-Olympic.

The NFL decides to disband NFL Europe, yet they still want to have an international influence by having regular season games in Europe. How is one game greater than an entire season? Factoring out the quality of the d-league games, IMO giving the sport more live air time over a season is always better than one hyped up game that featured the Giants and the Dolphins.

I'm not sure what else the NFL is trying to do to expand their league internationally at the amateur level, but its obviously not working if they've disbanded the closest thing to American football in Europe.

I think Wallball should be an Olympic sport.

Life saving? Shit they should start knocking people unconscious or set fire to an orphanage and let the games begin!
