St. Louis should just make Carpenter pitch every game.

>> Anonymous
Game 4 pitching match-up: Anthony Reyes vs. Oliver Perez! Bet Fox is loving that one.
>> Anonymous
>>20007
No way cards are winning 4 in a row. Cards don't have a bullpen.
>> Anonymous
no no its ok let him dream.
>> Anonymous
>>20039

Have you not been watching cardials games in the postseason?

How many runs has our bullpen let up so far? Zero? oh.

Carpenter ain't pitching in St. Louis tonight mother fuckers. Shea is gonna be wild
>> Anonymous
>>20566

He didn't win the cy young award for nothing. YOU HAVE A ROOKIE PITCHING. YOU DONT STAND A CHANCE.

Home field advantage doesn't turn a rookie pitcher into an ace.

Also, Mets are pond scum.

Why all the hate? Too much sand in your vagina?
>> Anonymous
The diffrence between carpenter and maine is that carpenter gave up 2 runs while maine gave up zero ^-^
>> Hyperbolie !/vvPu8L6pA
I hope the Mets win the series. A lot of people in my family can finally die happy, lol. ^_^
>> Anonymous
Is Suppon pitching tomorrow? The Mets are in trouble if he is.

It's hard to say how the game goes. The Mets are unpredictable, John Maine was awesome today, and really shit last time (Was it game 3?).
>> Anonymous
Suppan tomorrow on 5 day's rest, vs. Oliver Perez most likely.
>> Mets OWN!
mm no i hope its Darren oliver because he had hueg rest and he did well last outing against the CArds.. so my money goes on Darren to pitch :D
>> Anonymous
>>20567

Ok, so the dipshit that posted this can now feel like a complete ass, right? Good.

Mets did not stay in first place since Day 3 of the regular season for nothing. They are the better team and that's really that. Suppan is pitching? Yeah, in Shea stadium. Home field is a factor and Game 6 proved it with Maine pitching 6 shut out innings.

Mets just played and won their Game 7. Now both teams are playing their game 7. It's gonna be a tough game. But the Mets are at home and I feel good about that.
>> Anonymous
>>20622
edit: i meant the third game, not day
>> Anonymous
Big met fan here:

I don't think anybody in NYC though OLIVER PEREZ would be pitching GAME 7 for the Mets in the NLCS.

If the Mets can solve Suppan, the Cards can make tee times for next week. If not, Paul Lo Duca is gonna need a partner for Bingo Bango Bongo.
>> Anonymous
GAME ON!!!

repeat "LETS GO METS" ad nauseum

silly new york haters. you should all shut the fuck up and be estatic its not the yankees
>> Hyperbolie !/vvPu8L6pA

>> Anonymous
Perfect game to end the series so far, i'm loving all of it and hoping that mets make something of this(6th) inning.
>> Anonymous
im sitting with my TV right next to me, browsing the web and not taking glaces at the game.

chanvez robbed the cards of that home run and suddenly i realized that THIS WAS FUCKING GAME SEVEN AND MY TEAM MIGHT NOT BE PLAYING BASEBALL TOMORROW

ive been staring at my tv since quivering...i can't belive they squandered that bases loaded opprotunity...i dont want my season to end today, ill miss baseball, fuck basket ball the knicks suck, fuck hokey its only worth watching in may, fuck football, its not like the jets are doing anything signifigant this season DEAR GOD METS PLEASE WIN!!
>> Anonymous

Way to strike out on three pitches, Beltran!
>> Anonymous
Cardinals. Who woulda thought that one as they were losing 50 out of 52 down the stretch or whatever
>> Anonymous
HHAHAHA GOOD METS SUCK!!!!
>> Anonymous
Beltran fucking sucks.

Hence forth, I shall refer to him as Failtran.
>> Hyperbolie !/vvPu8L6pA
Oh well, there's always next year.
>> Anonymous

i fucking hate you. mets, never did like you at all, either. but gtfo saint louis

Oh, man. Two outs in the bottom of the ninth with the bases loaded is EVERY KID'S DREAM.

And he blew it.

WTG Beltran!
>> Anonymous
>>20685

As good a game as that shit was, it could have ended better...well, it did for Cards fans.

Fuck, Carlos. You could have at least swung at one of them...
>> Anonymous

>> Anonymous
Ugh, fucking HATE the Cards

Atleast we can be content in the guarantee that Detroit will have a White Sox circa 2005 pitching performance and destroy them.
>> Hyperbolie !/vvPu8L6pA

>> Anonymous
HAHAHAHA Mets lost.
>> Anonymous
>>20693

Forgiviness, please. In my haste I have bashed a fellow Braves fan by assuming his hatred of the Cards meant he was a Cubs fan.

I hate the Mets. And their losing as they did, well, it makes me feel alot better.

Tigers win it all in six, anyways.
>> Anonymous
haha yeah mother fuckers, thats what you pond scum get for messing with the best baseball team in the u.s. thank god i live in stl and have the best team in baseball to root for.
>> Anonymous
>>20706
Besides, you know, the tigers.
>> Anonymous
of course beltran was gonna strike out. they had no chance after molina got those 2 runs. but that was one of the most intense games ive ever watched. i love my red birds!
>> Anonymous
>>20707
fuck the tigers. im talking about all time. the cards are the best and have had the best players. there are no fans like cards fans. most cities only cheer their team on when they are doing good. the whole damn season for the cards has sold out the last 3 years. season tickets go for a couple grand on ebay.
>> Anonymous
>>20709
Who cares about all time? The season that matters is now.
>> Anonymous
>>20709
Also: 1984 tigers could smear any cards team. Ever.
>> Anonymous
Between the Cards and the Mets, the Mets were the better team, but Suppan shut the game down. Plus they had a mediocre lineup in the 9th, with the excpetion of Beltran, who failed.

Time to put on my Detroit hat.

If the mets were a better team they wouldn't have had their closer fail, twice, strike out with their best hitter at the plate with the bases loaded, lose 2 games at home, etc.

Mets weren't the best team. On paper, sure. Too bad you have to play on grass amirite?

lol, Tigers are going to sweep them.

Ugh...this series is going to be brutal to watch... well the mets will come back next year with better pitching and probably win over a 100 games.

yeah the tigers arent gonna sweep the cards. itll be close but i have a feeling the cards are gonna win. everyone was sure the cards were gonna win the series against boston 2 years ago, look what happend. everyone thinks the tigers are gonna win. stl rules.

You'll get swept by the Padres!

You'll get swept by the Mets!

You'll get swept by the Tigers!
