So hockey fags, tell me:
Will the Vancouver Canucks EVER win the Cup? Even though it's my home team, I vote no. Unless they figure out how to clone Luongo and have him play every position, because right now he seems to be the only player on the team.

Why the hell would you want a team consisting solely of, admittedly very good, goalies?

You have the sedins

The whole blueline is almost back...we've won three games in a row...

Fucking coincidence? We're only 3 points away from the top of the division.

The Sedins are fuckwin, but the Canucks need Bert and Jovo back. They haven't been the same since Bertuzzi was traded.

Bert is a shell of his former self although he had a decent stretch at one point with Anaheim. Also who needs Jovo when you have Kevin Bieksa. He plays like Jovo in the sense that he can lead the rush and chips in points all the time. The difference is he isn't fucking lazy. He plays hard everynight whereas Jovo plays hard on nights when he just happens to be feeling it.

When the Canucks are healthy they're good. Their defense has been fucked all season and now it's finally starting to come back together as everyone gets healthy. Once Morrisons back in the lineup they'll be even better. The only thing they need to be a legitimate threat is another top 6 scoring forward.

Yes, I don't think Bertuzzi ever fully recovered from his suspension and the following lockout. It was fun having him play on the Red Wings for that short stint, but he never fully fit in with the rest of the team.

He actually had a decent season after the lockout. 71 points I believe which isn't terrible. It's no 97 but it's still a fairly good season.

He even started out well in Florida but that Injury fucked him over severely. He hasn't been the same since.

I think it would be neat to see Bert/Nazzy/Mo play together again though. They could probably play pretty well now that the team wouldn't be relying on them thanks to the Sedins stepping into stardom.

The Bert/Naslund/Morrison line was truly a thing of beauty. As was the Sedin/Carter/Sedin line.

Yeah. The Bert/Nazzy/Mo line, or the "West Coast Express" as we called it in Vancouver, tore up the league for 2 seasons. Once the big money contracts came into the equation it seemed to kill their chemistry though. That or the rest of the league finally started to adapt to their play style.

When it comes to the Sedins though you could place a fucking pylon on the ice and it'll score goals. The Sedins can make almost anyone they play with into a goal scorer. Like you said the whole Carter thing was awesome. He had a career year, wanted a stupid amount of money, and Vancouver told him to go fuck himself. To no ones surprise he's fucking terrible the next season.

no.

and they'll never have good looking jerseys either

They need to drop the C with the killer whale and go back to their old school jerseys with the blue and green. Those were my favourite.

Sedin/Sedin/Naslund are doing pretty well together this year. Though they can't rely on them for all of their scoring. Their other lines have to pick up some slack.

I like the colors, but the "Vancouver" on top needs to go.

The Sedins are so much fun to watch. Can't wait to see em play against the Wings tonight.

Man, remember when everyone hated the sedins for being so useless? Can't believe how good they've become.

How anyone can tell these two apart is beyond me.

Canucks need to get rid of Naslund, pick up some offensive forwards and basically rebuild the team.

Oh and let Linden play soem fucking minutes, th guy is better then people half his age.

if i would have been a team mate of moores after
bitches hit i would have either used my skate to stab him or hit at least a dozen times over the head with my stick

fuck yeah, 4-1!

Rebuild? I don't think so. They've got Mason Raymond and Ryan Shannon showing signs of stardom and a really good checking line. They just need Morrison to be healthy again and acquire a top 6 forward. The team doesn't need much change.

Unless Nonis decides to trade them at the deadline for another player like Smolinski again.

Personally, I'd be pissed if they lose Raymond or Edler. Tons of potential in those two.

Morisson and Naslund haven't done anything since Bertuzzi left. The West Coast Express is dead, I think both of them need to leave town.
