Soup /sp/.

So I get to write this essay about why the Seahawks will win the next superbowl. (Don't care if they actually don't, but the topic is awesome.)

Lurking on /sp/ tips me in the direction that there are more seafags here than fags of any other team. So: /r/ing any quote by someone important talking about the Seahawks, preferably from John Facenda (though I know he was more of a Raider fag).

TL;DR: Need quotes from important people talking about the Seahawks

inb4: "They Suck," - Dan Rooney

“The physical beating doesn’t hurt as much as the disappointment in how we played.” – Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck

Quote: “We gotta reevaluate ourselves. On our side of the ball, we have to take a good look in the mirror and see what we are doing.” – Linebacker Julian Peterson on Seattle’s defense, which gave up 499 yards

Quote: “This is awful. Teams that lose in December, if they are lucky enough to get into January, lose very early in January.” – Seahawks defensive end Bryce Fisher.

Quote: “There were a lot of good things in this game. I would probably be celebrating a bit more had we won the division and won the game.” – Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren.

"Appalling," defensive end Patrick Kerney called the Hawks' performance.

>TACOMA - A Pierce County Superior Court judge startled prosecutors, sheriff's deputies and spectators by leading a Super Bowl cheer for the Seattle Seahawks before a sentencing hearing in a manslaughter case.

>After all were told to rise as Judge Beverly G. Grant took the bench Friday, she asked everyone in court to say, "Go Seahawks" before taking their seats. Dissatisfied with the low volume of the response, she repeated the request.

>Only then did she hear statements from prosecutors, defense lawyers and relatives of the slain Tino Patricelli, as well as an apology from Steve Keo Teang, before resentencing him to 13½ years in prison.

>"The tension was very high, and I thought it would be a way of people just thinking of something else and releasing it," Grant said afterward. "It was a diversion tactic to bring unison in the group."

>And then there’s the Seattle Seahawks. And don’t worry; we can talk about the Seahawks, despite the fact that we don’t want to talk about football today. After all, whatever the Seahawks are playing these days it’s definitely not football. A week after getting embarrassed by the Pittsburgh Steelers the Seahawks came home and got whipped by New Orleans, a team that hadn’t won a game all year. Thanks to the Seahawks’ generosity, there are only two winless teams left in the NFL: St. Louis and Miami. And seeing as how St. Louis gets to play the Seahawks next week, well... - Hey, Scripting Guy!, Microsoft TechNet

>At a free-falling 3-3, the only thing the Seahawks have going for them at the moment is the old real estate bromide of location, location, location. With bad losses by Arizona and St. Louis and a blessed bye for San Francisco, the NFC West is home to a sprawling mediocrity that is breathtaking, if not soul-sapping.

So we've infiltrated the court system?

Good. Good.

The penalty is clear: root for the Seahawks, receive 13 years in County Jail.

That 13 years was a re sentencing, so it's actually:

Root for the Hawks, get a great plea deal after accidentally killing that guy.

I would never expect of all teams that this board has more Seahawk fans...

My Poli Sci professor is a huge Seahawks fan who gives us extra credit when we can tell them the final score of the game they won.

I, however am a huge Green Bay Packers fan. So big, that I went to this year's divisional playoff game vs. the Seahawks (also Brett Favre's last win), aka the Snow Globe, which was a fantastic game for those of you who don't remember. Anyway, a bewildered Seahawks fan thres his 12th man flag into a snowbank. I dusted it off and gave it to my professor.

I got 3% taken off my grade. not kidding.
