Sport & War †Invisible Sky Magician† http://invisibleskymagician.baywords.com/ !!I9XpXfP4okU
Hello /sp/, I don't usually post here but I would like your thoughts.

I am thinking of writing an article that compares sport (viewed as a positive thing) and war (viewed as a negative thing).

I want to compare their similiarities to make a point: Sport and war suck equal ass and only the lowest common denominators would support such a thing.

One of my theories is that sport is just preparing people for war. Whether it's training your team to demolish the opposition, or gaining the "hearts and minds" of the public to support your cause (scoring more points than the other team/waging war against the other country to score more oil).

War is just as disgusting as sport.
And sport is just as disgusting as war.

Has any writer/blogger already wrote something like that before?

If so, I would like to read it.
If not, then I would like to be the first.

Why I think my article would be good:

-I don't work for anyone. I'm not paid by a corporation who also sells sport. A professional journalist wouldn't dare write an article like this for fear of reprisal from sports-fans, troop-supporters, and his own employer (News Corp, NBC, etc).

-My article will be on Baywords (owned by PirateBay). The whole point of baywords is to provide a blog service free from censorship.

-People sick of sport and war would find it interesting to read (obviously).

I don't expect you knuckle-dragging mouthbreathing sport-lovers to understand, but at least try.

Hm. I am actually working on a similar report.

It has to do with the correlation of anime watching a virginity.

Can I interview you sometime?

>Hm. I am actually working on a similar report.

I suggest you go back to school, braindead sports-lover. The reason for that is as follows:

>It has to do with the correlation of anime watching a virginity.

This has been copypasted for 9000+ times:

correlation =/= causation

You're obviously just trying to insult me, but let's pretend you actually are making a study and writing your report on it.

The very first fucking thing you should have learnt is: correlation does not equal causation

Using your logic: All virgins breathe air. Which means anyone who breathes air is a virgin.

Fuck you /sp/. I gave you a chance to conduct a discussion on sports and war, and the only thing you proved to me once again, is that sports-lovers have little in the way of intelligence.

Go back to watching your sports, you peanut-for-brains neanderthals.

Sorry, I meant CAVEMEN.

You generalize about people that like sports. You're a hypocrite and pathetic.

Enjoy you're lifelong virginity.

>Name a war that began over sport?

Sciencedammit.

My point isn't that sport leads to war.

But to answer your question, sport can lead to tensions between the supporters which may lead to race riots. Funnily enough, these race riots often have the catalyst of decades old past war between the countries in question.

Sport is not so different from war.

LOL fag thinks all people that like sports are the same jocks that stuffed him into lockers and beat his ass in high school.

Way to be a complete idiot.

I think it says a lot about a person if they have never competed in a activity of athleticism and brains., whicj many sports have both.

Continue be a dickless loser that trolls /sp/

Comparing sports to war is easy enough in your average discussion, but try to write an intelligent article on it and I'm sure most people can burn it to the ground. Also, you sound way too biased to make a proper article. If you want to compare two things, you should do it objectively, not to prove a point. If you do that the comparison will fail from the start.

The reason no professionals have written about it is simply because it's way too farfetched.
The only examples are moments when war crosses over into sports *for example, croatian teams versus servian teams* which only prove that war affects everything.
