Alex Rodriguez Is Overrated HKK !Li1UpTuBEs
I am so sick of the media proclaiming this guy the best player in baseball. Albert Pujols is superior and here's the proof: 162 game averages from 2004-2007. Along with their postseason stats.

Albert Pujols 162 Game Average: 198 hits, 126 runs, 42 doubles, 44 homers, 126 RBI's, 7 SB's, 97 BB's, 59 K's, .330 BA, .426 OBP, .626 SLG, 1.052 OPS, 376 TB's

Alex Rodriguez 162 Game Average: 183 hits, 126 runs, 28 doubles, 44 homers, 131 RBI's, 22 SB's, 91 BB's, 135 K's, .303 BA, .404 OBP, .573 SLG, .977 OPS, 346 TB's

Albert Pujols Postseason: 40 games, 142 AB's, 51 hits, 33 runs, 9 doubles, 11 homers, 28 RBI’s, 0 SB’s, 26 BB’s, 19 K’s, .359 BA, .462 OBP, .655 SLG, 1.117 OPS

Alex Rodriguez Postseason: 24 games, 94 AB’s, 23 hits, 15 runs, 6 doubles, 4 homers, 9 RBI’s, 3 SB’s, 14 BB’s, 22 K’s, .245 BA, .355 OBP, .436 SLG, .791 OPS

Albert Pujols World Series Rings: 1

Alex Rodriguez World Series Rings: 0

Best player in baseball my ass, ESPN.

The media only cares about the biggest teams when proclaiming this or that. Just don't listen.

I suggest he buys a replica World Series ring because he's never going to win one.

Pujols is good but not great. Let's see him put 5 years together. Anyone remember Chris Shelton? Pujols just put a year together where Shelton did a month.

It takes luck as much as anything. Sure Boston was the better team, but they got extremely lucky when they were down 3-1 against the Indians during the ALCS.

He's had at least 30 homers, 100 RBI's, a .300 BA, a .395 OBP, and a .565 SLG every year of his career since it started in 2001. He's FOURTH all time in career OPS. If that isn't solid then nothing is.

Still not as good as Pujols. I'm a Dodgers fan though, so all our good players are young bucks.

>Still not as good as Pujols.

I was talking about Pujols, genius.

A-Rod is also hitting in the American League East, not the NL Central. Let's see how well Pujols does against the likes of Beckett, Bedard, Schilling, Kazmir, Halliday, etc.

One, that's a bullshit point; Pujols has no control over the pitchers he faces. Plus, the current crop of NL pitchers is arguably better than the AL with Peavy, Oswalt, Zambrano, Webb, Smoltz and the arrival of Santana. Two, here are Pujols career numbers against the AL East in interleague games:

24 games, 103 AB's, 35 hits, 20 runs, 7 doubles, 6 homers, 23 RBI's, 1 SB's, 11 BB's, 14 K's, .340 BA, .410 OBP, .583 SLG, .933 OPS, 60 TB's
