not from us cause were not dumb, but the flyerfags in one of these threads are saying hes horrible and shit, cause we're not up 3-0 in the series

silly flyersfags.

He has more wins because Osgood didn't start all of Detroits games. Osgood is undefeated though
>> Anonymous
But Fleury cannot handle a rebound to save his life.
The Wings will raep him.

Playing two series against teams with non-existant offensives does wonders for your goalie's stats.

Then again, Osgood wasn't playing offensive juggernauts, either.

Also, lol Pengoons bandwagon in every /hoc/ thread

And we know how well Pittsburgh supports its NHL team.

what, like Comcast didn't bail out the Flyers by buying THOUSANDS of empty seats last season? did you already forget Ed Snider's BAWWWWWWWWWing about moving to Camden in the 90's? or did you not watch hockey until this year?
>> Anonymous
AS MANY SHUTOUTS AS CAREY PRICE, BUT I PLAYED 4 MOAR GAMES AND THAT IS THE TRUTH. ALSO, WINS SHOW HOW GOOD GOALIES ARE. NOT.
>> Anonymous
>>100274

What nonsense are you spouting? The Flyers have never threatened to move... I don't know where you read/heard that, but it's bullshit. Ed Snider is kinda crazy... they're talking about knocking down the Spectrum and building something there, but people say Snider is having a problem with that because it's "his baby".

Oh, and yeah, Flyer fan here... Fleury is good.

He's really bad at not playing hockey and not being Canadian.

Not anymore :<

Fleury has been good enough for now but he's been showing inconsistency. Even against the piss-poor Senators he's let in a number of goals in short amounts of time, and that shutout in the Rangers series goes without saying. He's been able to make up for it since he's had offense that gives him lots of goals to work with, but dealing with a defense like, say, Detroit's is likely to slow that offense down.

>>100435

Penguins spend most of their time on the power play or mucking about the neutral zone. I don't think Fleury has faced consistant offensive pressure all play-off long.

But, just watch Detroit. They've too much defense for Pittsburgh and too much offense for Philadelphia. Unless they collapse hard, they've got themselves a Stanley Cup.

>>99975
Even if he could, what kind of defense is going to stand between the likes of Zetterberg or Datsyuk and him? I have to say that the gap between Detroit's offense to Pittsburgh's defense is much larger than Pittsburgh's offense to Detroit's defense. Detroit's blue line and defensive forwards are the best in the league, and they have the numbers and repeatedly-won silverware to prove it. If any other team came out on top in the West I'd give the Penguins the odds to win the cup, but if any team can slow down Pittsburgh's offense and break through a defense that ultimately isn't much to write home about, it's Detroit. Unless Detroit's entire finals are a parade to the penalty box (and the refs' anal-retentive scrutiny towards Holmstrom's presence in front of the net aside, the Wings' play is too smart for that to be likely) I can't see the Penguins winning it.

>Detroit's defensive forwards are the best in the league

Funny, I thought Mike Richards played for the Flyers
>> Anonymous
>>100462
Because Richards' play is Selke Trophy wort- hmm, guess not

Well, at least it's not like any Wings players are nominat- oh. Two of them, even.

But it's not like any other active Detroit players have won it or anythi- oh. Draper did, huh?
>> Anonymous
>>100466

Yes, because it's hard to play defensively for a team like Detroit.

Hell, if Crosby played in their place, he could be nominated.
>> Anonymous
>>100471
So you confess Detroit's outstanding defense then?

That's what I needed. Thank you.

Nice reading comprehension thar, bucko. Kind of expect it from Red Wings fans, though.

Good thing you're obviously a master of reading comprehension. You'll need it to read the "DETROIT RED WINGS 2007-2008" engraving on the Stanley Cup this time next month.
