Hai guiez,I've just been put on the cover of Madden 09Is this awesome Y/N?in b4 g2b/v/
very old (in two ways)
>>75411>3 waysfix'd
I don't get how they can place an athlete that does not play anymore on the cover.
>>754151. Honor a legend2. Breaks curse
Is he actually going to be playable in the game or not? I remember in QB Club 2002 that Jim Kelly, Steve Young, ect. were playable but you had to unlock them, will Brett Favre be the same way?
>>75421I hope the curse follows him and he breaks a hip.
>>75421Doesnt break curse, it just curses every packers quaterback until Favre dies
>>75421>1. Honor a legendTrue, his ways of finding a way to throw an interception do make some great highlights after watching so many other good QBs throw those boring TD passes
>>75424Brett Favre will prolly be in the Free Agent pool
>>75415Two reasons:1) No currently playing players get stuck with "The Madden Curse", and everyone knows athletes are a superstitious lot.2) Nobody loves Favre like John Madden. It's a fitting way for Madden to honor his favorite QB.
>>76061I thought Madden hates the Madden games and even if he doesn't he probably doesn't have much creative input anyway.
>>76056Who's the alltime leader in touchdown passes again?
>>76068Every single play and how the players move and react are reviewed by Madden...
Brett Favre's Int ratios are in line with all the recent 1st-ballot HoF QBs.His Att/Int is better than Warren Moon's, and his TD/Int is better than Elway, Moon, and Aikman. Only Steve Young really outclasses him, but Steve Young outclassed everybody in passing efficiency.I don't understand the consensus that he was an interception-prone or inaccurate QB.
Aaron Rodgers leads the packers to a 19-0 season capped off with a Superbowl victory, showing that Favre was just preventing an elite quarterback from starting.Could happen?
>>76069And who has the record for the most interceptions in a career?Brett "288 Int" Favre
>>76084Who has the most MVP awards, wins, TDs, consecutive starts as a QB, yards, and is (or was in this case) one of the most respected and well-like players in the history of the NFL?That's what I thought.
>>76091Who has been in the league longer than of the other great QBs? Seriously, Montana, Young, or Marino could have a much higher stat count had that played as long as the old man did
Even though I've been a Bears fan my whole life, I still respect Brett Favre. Man is one hell of a football player.Too bad he's now going to die in a horrible accident due to the Madden curse. At least if he was still playing he'd just bust his leg or something.
>>76100Should have, could have, and would have doesn't make you any less of a faggot for hating on him.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=paolantonio_sal&id=3281535All that needs to be said about Favre
>>76110>Should have, could have, and would have doesn't make you any less of a faggot for hating on him.You obviously don't know what a faggot is, faggot. You can't be a faggot for hating on somebody.I leave you to masturbate to Brett Favre in the dark.
>>76125Can i borrow some tears for lube? you seem to have ample amounts.
>>76110I'm not "hating" on him. I think Brett Farve was a fantastic quarterback, one of the best for sure. What I'm saying is that you can't say he is the best based on stats, because all that proves out of all the great QBs, is that he's been there the longest.
>>76125I now understand anon's psychology! anon hates on everybody because he's a closet homosexual who doesn't want to be found out.
>>76141>What I'm saying is that you can't say he is the best based on stats, because all that proves out of all the great QBs, is that he's been there the longest.Another way to put that is that his stats show he was a great QB for the longest period of time.
>>76159YOU KNOW TOO MUCH.
Whose more likely to end up back on a team roster in a Madden gameBrett Favre or Mike Vick?
>>76193RICKY WILLIAMS!
