lebron james, by the end of his career, will probably be considered the best to ever play the game.
he just needs to do something about that free throw shooting, and develop his post game.

ok, what if you had to make a team of 10 players, 2 at each position.
not the 10 most talented players ever, but the team you think would win the most games, if each player was in their prime
mine
PG: M. Johnson/J. Stockton
SG: M. Jordan/K. Bryant
SF: J. Erving/E. Baylor
PF: T. Duncan/D. Rodman
C: H. Olajuwan/S. O'Neal

magic johnson --- purely for his name

Even if he didn't die that night, he still would've been a crackhead on the court. Never would've been great and eventually would've gotten arrested.

Shaq dominated after the other allstar centers in the 90s have declined with Duncan as his only competition. People kept talking about how great he was in the finals even though he only need to go up against Rik Smits, Deke, and MacColluch. If naysayers want to make a case about Jordan's competition being weak(which I don't agree with) then it should apply for Shaq even more so.

All in all, he's a top 5 player in the last 20 years, but he's hardly considered to be the best ever considering how out of shape he became.

Take Rodman out, put Malone in, start Shaq and you've got yourself a solid list.

Too much Olympics, Michael Phelps and Brett Favre going on, let's talk about tonight's main event: Edge beating the Undertaker.

Not a real sport.

You all fail for a lack of Bill Russell.

Ok, so you want to go by Position? I, like 455, will give a starter and backup for each position.
PG: Magic Johnson / Oscar Robertson
SG: Michael Jordan / Jerry West
SF: Julius Erving / Larry Bird
PF: Charles Barkley / Moses Malone
Center: Bill Russell / Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Also, I never would have put Shaq on the list; he is great, but he still wouldn't even by in my all time top 5 for centers. Hell, he might not even be in my top 10.

You can think of 10 centers better than the Shaq Attack? I can only think of 4 off the top of my head, putting Shaq at #5.

Fuck, I will admit I was wrong; Shaq came in 10th on my list. However, my top 5 is unbreakable, and he will never reach it.

Now I don't hate Shaq, I just think he is way overrated. He always takes too much credit for what his teams have done, and then denounces the team when he leaves. He only talked shit about Orlando after signing with the Lakers, the Lakers after being traded to the Heat, the Heat after being traded to Phoenix, and it's only a matter of time for when he does the same for Phoenix after they let go of him. Worst of all, he denounces the team, fans, and the whole fucking city when he leaves, instead of just praising his new city, and saying nothing about his old team/city.

Fuck this, I changed my mind; I hate Shaq, and I hope his wife rapes him in divorce court.

Michael jordan is obvious answer. However Shaq is no way overrated. They actually had to change rules around because of him.
