Like I said, getting mad at the rule is fine. I agree that it's a dumb rule. I disagree with anyone who claims it should have been ruled a fumble because, by the letter of the law at the time, it was not, plain and simple.
And yes, if the game had gone the other way with Gannon and Janikowski, I'd be pissed, but I certainly wouldn't be incredibly bitter about it several years later (Note: this isn't the only sports forum I frequent). Hell, I'm already over this past February, though I admit it took me about a week before I could feel normal again.
