He is ours now.

What do you think about that britfags?

I have no idea why Milan signed him. He's never even going to get into the the team. You have Gattuso and Pirlo.

Watch, he's gonna be shitty for 4 seasons and then during the final season of his contract he's gonna be epic. And then he'll stab your back on move to an even bigger club on a free.

Cinco de Mayo 2008----I called it.

One of them is obviously leaving. Probably Gattuso to some Prem club, hopefully Arsenal even though I as a Gooner who loves great passing would so prefer Pirlo. Imagine Pirlo and Fabregas....

I still don't see where he fits into Liverpool's midfield. As I see it there are only two ways:
1. Benitez still holds a grudge against Alonso for staying with his girl while she was having a baby and is going to sell him. Which though I respect Rafa would just be bloody silly. Alonso's form this season should be forgiven I think since he had a very bad metatarsal injury that relapsed during his first game back. (tl;dr he's been out for most of the season and is rusty.)
2. Barry is going to play on the left. Since he's not fast I'd assume a Beckham style role of putting good balls into the box and cutting inside sometimes. I don't think we need this however since we already have several good passers (admittedly none of them have a good left foot like Barry) in the side. Rafa should be looking for more skillful and attacking wing players in the mold of Ronaldo during the summer IMO. Though whether he'll get the money to spend on them or they'll come from the academy I'm not sure.

Very likely to go out the door: Riise, Voronin, Kewell

Maybe: Pennant, Kuyt (Good player, but touch and lack of goals may do for him, I like him though for the work rate), Arbeloa, Crouch (New contract's been offered so it's up to him.)

Needed: Another top end striker, and attacking winger for both sides. A few of the younger players coming through.

Alonso's probably gone, not because of the baby bullshit (Rafa's wrong on that one), but because the tactics Rafa wants to play with (4-2-2-1-1) require two destructive midfielders deep. Alonso, for all his passing prowess when in form, is not the best defending and going back. What I think Rafa is figuring is that he can play Barry just in front of Mascherano and that he can double as a left winger in a pinch. He'll probably rotate Lucas and Plessis, get a left winger, and push Babel inside where he's more comfortable and push Gerrard out right.

Remember when Darren Fletcher of all people kicked his ass in the FA Cup?

Suddenly AC Milan just got easier.

Fletcher is underrated. Probably United's best squad player at the moment.

fuck yeah, denilson

Yeah he is underrated, but you said it, he is 'squad' but the press makes it seem like Flamini is supposed to be some star player who makes big moves between Arsenal and AC MIlan. And Fletcher will still own his ass

i second this fuck yeah

Rafas ONLY buying Barry just so Arsenal (who need someone like him) don't get him, and he'll probably play him some weird position in the premiership.

>>89722
Denilson, although good, is not a flamini cover. us against Derby, the defence was bad. (mainly because of the lack of Sanga and Song mistakes) but theres still noone to cover midfield defensively.
