>> 4chan /sp/'s God
God here;
This guy is quite possibly the most overrated basketball player of the past decade, with only Grant Hill, Vince Carter and Allen Iverson coming anywhere near him in terms of "Shitty basketball player that is somehow popular"

Note: notice how the other three all left their original teams have seen their old teams (Hill: Magic and Pistons; Iverson: 76ers; Carter: Raptors) become way better without them, while their current teams define suck? Get ready for the Wizards to become a way better team, lol......

Love to all but those four douche-fags,
God.

>Allen Iverson

>Philadelphia 76ers 40 - 42
>Denver Nuggets 50 - 32

lol wut?
>> Anonymous
>>147353
The 76ers became better as a TEAM without Iverson hogging the fucking ball. Give these guys a few more years and some new additions and they could be a contender.
>> Anonymous
>>147335

>>147353

to add on:

>Grant Hill

>Orlando Magic 50 - 32
>Phoenix Suns 55 - 27

define suck amirite?
>> Anonymous
>>147358

that wasn't my point. He said that the teams that they're on define suck now. which they don't.
>> Proof !!HYH71mAkmGC
Letting Seattle score 151 points on you = suck

And I'd rather be on Orlando than Phoenix. Orlando has had more playoff sucess this year (but you can thank the Raptors) and they're bursting with potential. Phoenix is old, in the hardest division in the West, and have a coach who led Milwakee into 2 terrible seasons.

>>147353

Iverson is a douche.

WE TALKIN' BOUT PRACTICE.. I watched that presser, live, and I was just shaking my head. What a dumb motherfucker.
>> 1/2
Way to ignore Grant Hills injuries that ruined his entire career.
>> Anonymous
>>147403

I agree with you about the coach. it was stupid to hire that guy when there were people like Flip Saunders available.
>> 4chan /sp/'s God
God here to anal rape the fags who tried to pull some fast shit on me.
>>147353
76ers = Won two playoff games with no one well known on their team.
Nuggets = Won zero with at least 4 well known players, including two stars (Carmello Anthoshit, and Allen Imeanpractice.)

>>147360
Suns = One playoff win with an assload of star players on their team.
Magic = Five playoff wins with one famous guy.

Also, to be fair:
Nets = Missed playoffs.
Raptors = Made playoffs.

>>147419
You forget that he cried and cried and cried about how much he wanted to leave Detroit, because they wouldn't pay him giant money, and because he hated the "direction" of the team. He got what was coming to his douche-ass.

Now go home and cry to your mother, for I just raped your /sp/ ass.

You can't compare the West to the East

That's like comparing Div 1 schools to Div 2 schools
>> Anonymous
Arenas is going to go Detroit. Lots of wizards players seem to end there. Hamilton, Dixon, Hayes, etc.
>> Anonymous
>>147457
Sure, the East has more bottom-feeders, but the East's good teams can stack up to the West's best teams on most occasions.

More importantly, people like Carmello, Arenas, AI and VC will never amount to anything more than just dudes who put up shiny numbers without taking their teams anywhere. And unless the Rockets can get their shit together before everyone's wheels fall off (it's already started to happen), you can throw T-Mac in that list, too.
>> 4chan /sp/'s God
God back to rape moar,
>>147457
I'm sorry, but you obviously didn't watch this years All-Star Game, and you sure as heaven aren't watching the NBA Finals right now.
Seriously, and when you consider most people were picking the Lakers before this series started, the lulz are all the better.
No go back and bawwww your way home.

PS - You obviously didn't see the Michigan - Appalachian State game, either (Yea, that's a different sport, but you did bring up Division 1 vs. Division 2)

Love to all but these pro-Arenas fags who about to lose all their money in paying for his lousy ass,
God.
>> Anonymous
>>147465

Celtics & Pistons =/= the entire West.

Michigan-Appalachian State was an anomaly. No one would have picked the Appies if a lot of money was on the line.

It's retarded to think that the playoffs hold more weight than regular season records.

Try again, god.

>>147468

er the entire East*

Those players you first named are all douches though and deserve to suck.

T-Mac is admirable, pretty humble and can't really be blamed, his performance in the playoffs this year was inspiring but in the end, he's just on a shitty team when Yao is out of the picture and the Jazz are superior.

>Nets = Missed playoffs.
>Raptors = Made playoffs.

Well, when Vince was on the Raptors they managed to get out of the first round. And the Nets made the playoffs 3 out of the 4 years Vince has played there.

>>147455
Be that as it may, Grant Hill is definitely not a douche by any stretch of the imagination. I think Grant Hill only continued to get hurt because god hates T-mac so much.

Aside from Celtics and Pistons, what East teams could compete with the West? The Magic? No big men outside of Dwight to guard the paint, bad backcourt, and awful bench. Their paint would be trampled by the elite guards of the West. Raptors? Same thing, except you replace Dwight with Bosh, who's not a defensive anchor, and everyone else is a role player who can't create their own shots, which makes them two steps below the Magic. Cavs? Does anyone watch their games and see how bad their defense and rebounding have become? Until the playoffs they were playing so horrible nothing they do would push them to the playoffs had they play in the other conf. Wizards has injury-prone stars, and both the 76ers and the Hawks are young teams that knows how to hustle, but will get outworked by an established team.

And I don't see the disparity ending any time soon. Houston, Portland, and Sac-town are already showing their competitive edge despite injuries, and they could easily replace the aging powers in a couple of years, and both Seattle and Memphis is ahead of everyone else in grabbing lottery picks. If anyone from the East is going to rise next season, it would be either NJ, Miami, or Chicago.

And yet...Boston is up 2-0.
>> Anonymous
>>147569
Oh, you mean like how they were up 2-0 after a blowout on game 2 against the Cavs and the Hawks, leading every expert and their mother to predict an easy series for the Celtics? I don't believe the Lakers can win all 3 at Staples, but the Lakers making a game 7 happen is very much possible.

Their defense stepped up during the playoffs, not before. They were playing .500 ball post trade, and part of the reason was the lack of quality perimeter defenders. Hughes is gone, and Pavlovic has become useless since he came back from injury. You're telling me right now the Cavs would make the playoff out West at the way they finished the season? Their defense and rebounding last year was stellar, this year they were hanging around average until they played the Wizards.
