Rosenberg? He's the only half-decent forward for that price. Won't see much playing time though, with Zlatan, Larsson, etc.
That or you could get a Greek defender for 5.5/6. Those guys'll be playing for 0-0 scores anyway, which means you'll gather more def-points.

Don't get me started on Germany, because Ballack is a fucking diver (and a horrible one at that, bitch grabs his face no matter where he's hit) and a shitty captain, did I mention he's a horrible spot kick?

Oh, and Odonkor! Odonkor is the "Black" German (of German/Ghanaian decent)- back in 06 there were race riots in north germany "because they had a nigger on the team", bunch of racist fuckers.

The funny thing about the above, is that you heard very little from the German media about the race riots, and how they were... wrong? Yet, you heard numerous BAAAWing because Italy had Mauro Camoranesi, who was born in Argentina and of Italian decent. I fucking hate Germany.
>> Anonymous
>>140669

they didn't riot because of Slavs in their team, at least.
>> Anonymous
>>140684
because slavs are of fairer skin, and the media can hide their heritage more easily :3
>> Anonymous
>>140669

First of all: it’s really funny to see that you are exactly acting like the “racist fuckers” (“I fucking hate Germany”) you detest so much. Actually this fact should be enough to dismiss you, but I will carry on.

No, I did not hear anything about Camoranesi (and I’m living in Germany), so I must disappoint you. Yet I know about Asamoah, who played on the Germany team before Odonkor. There have been reports in the German media about racism in football, e.g. in the widely known newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung, when Asamoah was insulted in Rostock:

http://www.sueddeutsche.de/sport/bundesliga/artikel/317/85232/

Oh, btw. maybe you know Paolo Di Canio? He seems to have some problems with his right arm.

There are stupid racist people everywhere in the world, not only in Germany, so please try not to generalise.

Huntelaar has to compete with van Nistelrooij for a single striker spot, and van Basten has aknowledged that RvN will be his main striker.
>> Anonymous
registering as we speak
>> Anonymous
>>140757
I did over-generalize a bit, let me clarity. I detest the way that the German media blows things out of proportion about France and Italy, and even sometimes themselves (California Klinsy? C'mon, the man picked your team up from one of their biggest ruts in recent years). Everything I saw of Camoranesi was in paper print, and I'm at work right now, so I can't really dig anything up :( I know of Di Canio, and I really cannot speak for his actions, because he's one person, and doesn't represent all of us. I'm pretty sure the Nazi's had players beaten when they lost National Games, but once again; that was the actions of some individuals.

Regardless, Ballack is a dirty diver still :P
>> Anonymous
>>140761
a shame really, I think Huntelaar is a much better all around striker, and much better in the air than Nistelrooy is, plus RvN is pretty damn easy to provoke into getting a yellow, (I recall an international where he was laughed at for missing a penalty by a opposing defender, and went over to taunt the player later when he scored, receiving a yellow. That's not very professional.) I think Huntelaar also needs the experience, because he's the teams future.
>> Anonymous
>>140783

Huntelaar han't proven himself at a big event yet though, and I wouldn't try experimenting during a tournament. He's a great back up for now.

Also, I don't see how a team with no defence can afford to play just one striker.
>> Anonymous
>>140783

Huntelaar is about as poor on the ball as van Nistelrooij, but I reckon RvN has at least leaned to conform to a passing team with Real Madrid.
Huntelaar slightly edges it when it comes to headers.
As for attitude, Huntelaar is known to become frustrated when things don't go his way, so he's pretty prone to catching yellow cards as well. Him elbowing players is actually pretty common, but that's mostly him contesting headers.
I agree that Huntelaar is the way of the future, but with van Nistelrooij you have a tried-and-tested goal machine for the highest level, something Huntelaar hasn't really shown (yet).
>> Anonymous
>>140794

Well, one suggestion I've read in the Dutch media is to field a counter-attacking team. Not a very popular option I know, but stacking the weakened defense with more bodies, while looking to spring Robben, van Persie and van Nistelrooij through on goal, with Sneijder or van der Vaart as link up players might be an excellent choice.
>> Anonymous
>>140781

Again you have to distinguish. Of course tabloids like Bild try to polemise on lowest level, but you have these kinds of “newspapers” in each and every nation: in the UK it is The Mirror or The Sun, in Poland it is The Super Express, etc…
And they do this with everything, not only football. Yet there are still newspapers which try to be objective.
>> Anonymous
>>140804

And one thing to add: While his on-the-ball skills might be poor, Huntelaar's shot technique is excellent, probably better than RvN's. Huntelaar is/was a regular free-kick taker for both Heerenveen and Ajax.
>> Anonymous
>>140656
Listen to the other guys in this thread, Huntelaar will hardly get any playing time..because even when they need to switch the single striker Van Nistelrooij it seems van Basten rather have Vennegoor there.

If you want a dutch guy in your theam, go for names like Van der Sar, van Nistelrooij, Sneijder and van der Vaart. Van Basten seems to employ them in pretty much every experiment so far.
>> Anonymous
>>140823
Don't count on it, Sneijder seems pretty keen on taking pretty much every free kick out there.
>> Anonymous
>>140884

Free-kick takers for Holland are either Sneijder or Van Persie, and with vP semi-injured, Sneijder all the way.
