Did anyone else watch the Blue Jackets epic failure last night? WTF Rick Nash?! The Red Wings are unstoppable.

As a Wings fan I can tell you the Wings are most certainly NOT unstoppable, particularly within their own conference. They barely have winning records against any of the other Central teams, and Chicago has raped them so far in their series matchups. Not to mention the various early playoff exits in recent years.

That said, what the Wings lacked most was grit - in the conference final last year the Ducks simply dominated them physically and it cost the Wings a trip to the finals. Now that Stuart and McCarty are going to be on the ice in time for the playoffs they're going to have some of that much-needed physical presence. If - *IF* - their wonky goalie situation holds out in their favour their playoff performance might actually reflect upon their season numbers for once.

Can't expect a lot of grit from a team whose roster is half European. Especially those god damned Swedes.

point is that we have MORE grit. It's not like we need 20 Chris Simons on the roster.

can't wait to see mccarty back for the playoffs. especially if colorado continues to hold the 8th seed.

The Redwings are a bunch of faggots and 90% of their fanbase are bandwagoners.
