So who do we have to kill to get a playoff system?

The heads of all the BCS conferences, I guess. The BCS is such crap.

Start with Gordon Gee or whatever that faggot's name is who used to be at Vandy, now he's at Ohio State so he realizes that shit is his bread and butter in that fail conference.

Also, we must protect Obama's house! Nigra still talkin about throwin his weight around for a playoff - BLACK POWER!

I hate anything about government being in sports but FFS I would support Obama bitch slapping the BCS out of existence.

Me too, congress wasting time with steroids was retarded, but Obama against the BCS is potentially epic.

Also, Gee is the Stephen Hawking lookin geek who said something to the effect of "They'll have to pry a playoff from my cold dead hands." Motherfucker I live in the South... that shit can be arranged, trust me on that, these fools are crazy down here, niggas gettin killed just last week over the LSU-Bama game.

It's a shame the man in pic related seems so capable of running shit in CFB, it's like an IRL Revenge of the Nerds.

I don't see why we can't work it out similarly to the BCS financially.

Say Obama gets his wish and an 8-team playoff is created. We can make the two semifinal games and two of the first-round games "BCS games" (or whatever new name), like say the 1/8 and 2/7 games, and reward the schools and conferences accordingly just like the BCS games do. Like say USC and OSU make the semifinals, the schools, the Pac-10 and Big 10 get however many million dollars for making it that far.

Samefag adding to this: It will still be an advertising clusterfuck, probably moreso. there's really no loser if you do it right.

Lets see, Bob Stoops, Mack Brown, Jim Tressel and Pete Carroll, they all benefit under the current system, I mean Ohio state went to two championships and had the snot beaten out of them, same with chokelahoma, and if USC actually went up against quality teams, they'd lose.

Take the top two in every conference, round robin play, 2 survivors play in the championship game.

There are so many playoff models that would work just fine. That one sounds good, too.

Also you gotta think the talent pool will be more spread around. Kids will start realizing the benefit of going to the lesser schools in big conferences, your Northwesterns, Vanderbilts, etc, and if you finish high and earn a wildcard playoff spot you will have just as much of a chance at the title as the seven other teams.

Parity? In my college football? It's more likely than you think
