Joke's on you, last playoffs the Ducks were the most Canadian team in the league in terms of the people who actually PLAYED to win it.

The Stanley Cup goes to Canada every single time it's won.

Shit, they keep the damn thing in Canada after everyone who won the cup gets done humping it and jacking off into the top.

Technically the genuine Cup never leaves Toronto. What they present at the playoff finals/dick around with during the post-playoff celebrations is a replica. Plus the original trophy is just the bowl at the top, all the rungs stuck onto the bottom were later additions never originally intended.

Though it's true the rings weren't intended at first, they eventually became needed just so they could continue to engrave names on it.

Though, they take off rings as needed so the cup doesn't become so big they cant lift it.

It'd look pretty awesome with 45 rings on it, though.

>>61194
Oh I know WHY they have the rings added on and all that, I'm just saying that the original trophy was purchased as and intended to be just the cup.

That's what they used to do. I'm trying to find photos of it but before they used the current design where they add/retire rings, the Cup used to be ridiculously long.

Found it. They added a new ring to the cup virtually every year from 1927 to 1947.
