ITT: We make our predictions about the Division and Wild Card winners come October

AL West- Angels
AL Central- Indians, because the Tigers got Willis (5-8 last season) for way too much
AL East- Yankees (first time I'll ever be rooting for the Yankees, congrats you BoSox pricks. You made me hate you more than the Yankees fans)
Al Wild Card- Mariners

NL West- Giants, lol. No seriously, D'Backs
NL Central- Brewers (go Crew)
NL East- Mets
NL Wild Card- Phillies, but as long as it isn't the Cubs, i'll be happy.

OP is a Newyorkfag.

If he wasn't he'd be rooting for the Jays.

Mariners, you better fucking shine this year.
>> Anonymous
OP you cant really bag on BoSox fans. We didn't have a World Series win for almost a century. Then we win 2. How would you act?

Wait till the Cubs win. YIKES.

My kids will be dead by then lol

It doesn't fucking matter how long you had to wait, any team that is not yours that wins a championship is going to be fucking annoying.

Because the Red Sox had to wait 86 years, they think their championships are somehow better and more meaningful than everyone else's.

In during yet another NY/Boston shitstorm.

Did someone say Cubs and World Series?

AL West - M's
AL Central - Indians
AL East - Boston
AL Wild Card - Rays (This won't seem so crazy after the first month or so...when everybody realizes they have a great young trio of pitchers with a dangerous lineup)

NL West - DiamondBacks
NL Central - Cubs
NL East - Mets
NL Wild Card - Cubs

Like faggots I guess?

AL West: Angels
AL Central: Tigers, that lineup is scary now
AL East: Red Sox
AL Wild Card: Yankees, but wouldn't count out some other teams
NL West: D'Backs, probably the best #1-#2 starter combo in baseball
NL Central: Cubs, wouldn't be shocked at Milwaukee winning though
NL East: Mets
NL Wild Card: Phils

Fail. Give them about 2 years and they will be sick. Speaking of lineup, do you remember Young was traded?

Which is exactly what anyone would've said if someone predicted the Rockies getting to the world series last year. Also, 7 out of 8 teams in last years' playoffs didn't make them in '06. Baseball isn't predictable, crazy shit happens.

The Tigers WILL make the Playoffs.

AL East: Yankees
AL Central: Indians
AL West: Seattle
AL Wild Card: Boston

NL Central: Cubs (FUCK YEAH, CUBS)
NL East: Mets
NL West: Diamondbacks
NL Wildcard: Probably the Brewers. As long as the Cardinals don't have a fucking miracle season, I won't care.

Doug Davis

Less you forget about Justin Upton.

The Indians will learn to harness and control the power of their swarms of killer bugs from last year's playoffs, go undefeated at Jacobs Field, and win the WS.

No,Yea. You're right. He only drove in 93 RBIs and has a extremely high ceiling not to mention is only 22.

Not to mention the leader in the club(Crawford) thinks he's a cancer:

>"I think he just got it misconstrued," said Crawford. "Nobody said he was the reason for us losing the games. We said it was a more relaxed, more calm environment that could help us in the future. Nobody blamed him or Dukes for losing the games. For him to say we want to wait until he leaves to say something--who is he? Nobody's afraid of him. You know? We'll say it to his face. I'll be more than happy to say it to his face or any kind of other way that'll make him understand what we mean."

>"These are exactly the the kind of distractions we were talking about with the Rays, a young guy popping off at the mouth, talking too much,'' Crawford said. "He needs to just shut up and play baseball.''

>"Tell them, this is exactly the kind of thing Crawford and the Rays were talking about. It hasn't happened much (in Minnesota yet), but at some point it will and they will see what we were talking about over here.''

I'm assuming you missed the Delmon Young comments, then:

>Sounds like Delmon Young’s first media session in Twins camp might have been interesting. Asked about Carl Crawford’s good-riddance implications from earlier this week, Young told reporters he hadn’t read anything.

“I’m not really too much worried,” he said. “They got their own stuff in St. Pete and we’ve got our own stuff down here and in Minnesota. All I can worry about is these 25 guys and the front office over here.”

Looks like Young’s best response came when asked about his being lumped in with Elijah Dukes as players the Rays are happy not to have around anymore.

“If they’re trying to blame us for the way they weren’t winning — if it was us two, we weren’t there from ‘98 to ‘06, so …”
