Maybe he'll be like Johnny and have a good looking man under all that shit

Yankees will be bad for a looooong time. They traded away all their future prospects to line their team with aging-"stars". Well, they're old... and they have no one worth shit in their farm system. They could keep trying to buy championships I guess, but we saw how that's worked so far.

I never understood baseball cap space.
Is it like the NBA where each team has only certain amount to spend every year on a roster or is it like whatever the club makes in profits they can spend on players?
>> Anonymous
>>413366
The latter, there is no cap in baseball

Major League Baseball is like European football leagues; the rich teams can spend as much as they want (there is a 'luxury tax' that doesn't do much to prevent it though)

Qucik Question:
The NFL has the same cap system like the NBA right?
>> Anonymous
>>413387

A bit more retarded. Rookies like Matt Ryan getting paid $60mil doesn't happen in the NBA. You get a rookie entry contract and depending on your performance, you'll make more
>> Anonymous
>>413391

True, but the NBA makes up for it with a shitty mid-level/veteran contract system. Players who average 20 minutes and 5 points a game can regularly get 7-10 million or more per year.
>> Anonymous
Also NBA contracts are guaranteed money no matter how shitty you become during it. NFL contracts the only money that the player will definitely see is the signing bonus.
