Let's go.
>> Anonymous
they're in New Orleans, so the Hornets will. When they go back to San Antonio, the Spurs will win, but when they come back to New Orleans, the Hornets will win.
>> Anonymous
The pressure is on New Orleans now to win this.

Tim Duncan can now score in the paint and when he is double teamed and he pitches it out, players can make the shot now.. jumper 2 or 3. And more importantly Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili can now penetrate and score in the paint as well while the San Antonio D has managed to keep West and Chandler not to mention Peja's numbers down as well.

Spurs in 6

Go Spurs GO!

looks like a battle of confused point guards

You have a point.

"How do I shot hoops?"
>> Anonymous
New Orleans hasn't lost a home game since March. New Orleans is taking the series in 7.
>> Anonymous
>>98315
in the paint, like kenny said yesterday, the team that keeps the other teams pesky point guard out of the paint will win the game.
>> ????????????????????????????????????
whoever wins this game wins the series

Fuck you Manu, you aren't a fucking sixth man. If you win Sixth Man of the Year, you shouldn't then be allowed to START in the fucking play offs!!! Also, just coming off the bench the first time there's a dead ball doesn't make you a "sixth man" either, you stupid cocksucker. I hope you die in the game tonight!!!
>> Anonymous
NBA crowds take notice- this is how you start a game. Sounds like college ball in there.
>> Anonymous
>>98732
I hope Tony Falker dies from a stroke while doing a layup.
>> Anonymous
apparently running your balls into another guys knee = foul on the other guy?
>> Anonymous
>>98739
Chandler leaned into it.
>> Anonymous
>>98739
New to basketball much? The fucking Spurs could pull out shot guns and murder the entire other team in cold blood, and the foul would be on the other team.
>> Anonymous
nice flop to get three free throws, ginobili
>> Anonymous
>>98745
Flopnobli should go play his native countries sport. This is basketball you fag.
>> Anonymous
This is a Spurs paced game so far.

Peterson: You should probably go kill yourself. Paul just dished you a god-like pass, and you decide to miss the shot? Are you fucking insane?

That should have been a foul on paul

Even if he did flop (he didn't) at least he's a good actor. Chris Flop couldn't even get the call.
>> Anonymous
As an N.O.fag, I half-hope the Hornets lose this series now. I hate the Lakers but all this flopping and attempts to cause fouls won't be nearly as effective on them as it is on these inexperienced Hornets. Would be fun to watch the Lakers demolish a team that's largely relying on fouls and flopping to do anything.
>> Melvin Ely
Leave Oberto to me.
>> Anonymous
I shat bricks when they didn't find a way to call something on Ely for that.

Getting a little sloppy there refs.

Wells needs to stop shooting.

And Manu needs to stop failing at imitating Nash with the no-look passes.

Duncan is hitting shots. Not good for the hornets

Aw comeon, Hornets aren't playing THAT bad.

Give em a little more credit.

I really hate hearing the New Orleans announcer going WOOOOO all the fucking time, I want to stab him for that shit. So fucking annoying.

Hornets are in deep shit right now if the Spurs keep knocking down shots.
>> Anonymous
>>98816

The problem is that they don't even look half bad defensively. They just can't get in rhythm on offense.

Did anyone hear that "Your lookin like Ginobelli now" when Parker went down?
>> Anonymous
duncan really needs to step up his game second half

also, joey crawford needs to get suspended again. faggot ref
>> Anonymous
>>98837

Duncan's gotta find a better way to handle those stiff double teams and Ginobili needs to quit slipping and turning the ball over.

One of the reasons I love Inside the NBA, they say the same asshole things that Anon is thinking. Good luck Avery lol.

WHAT DOES DUMB FUCK MEAN?
>> Anonymous
This game is being giftwrapped, I don't understand why there can't be a game that's close to the end with these two teams. It's always floodgates open in the third.

Turnover after turnover by the spurs, ugly ass low percentage shots, refusing to drive to the net and draw the foul, what is this shit? Quit taking fucking threes which haven't been sinking and let your defense bring you back into this game. Fuck. You can't play at the Hornet speed offense pace, idiots.
>> Anonymous
Chandler is out, the Spurs now have a chance.
>> Anonymous
>>98876
lol
>> Anonymous
They have a chance if they stick to driving the ball in, shooting from the inside and leaving the perimeter out of it. Perimeter shooting has been awful in the second half.

I don't really see the Spurs coming out on top unless they get single digit deficit really soon, I hope they do of course but I am doubtful. What I think might be more of a factor is how injuries for the hornets look in game six.
>> Anonymous
You see that shit.. thats why i hate CP3 after he gets charged with a charge, duncan is just holding the ball and he trys to slap it out of his hand.. Just the little shit he does really pisses me off

oh well, game is over.
>> Anonymous
So it seems the Spurs once again got raped in New Orleans.
>> Anonymous
WHORENETS FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now we can have rape back at the T and then losing the series back in NO game seven.

Wagers on a blowout in the third quarter tomorrow?

SHUT THE FUCK UP, KOBE IS MVP

WHORENETS SWEEP IN 6

I'm a Spursfag and I'm disgusted by the way we played. Spurs should just throw game 6 and save everyone the trouble, we're clearly the worse team this year.

No team that scores 2 points in 6.5 minutes deserves to win the game much less a series.
>> Anonymous
This series is odd. The winning team ALWAYS blows out the other team.
>> Anonymous
>>98911
in the third quarter

and the losing team always seems to just hand the game over by fucking giving up the ball, not trying to get into the paint, and missing shots.

San Antonio vs. New Orleans as a market? Well, yeah, but it's not like NO is a big market anyway. Spurs have proven they just cannot draw an audience no matter what, I'm not sure about the Hornets. Stern is praying on Kobe/Boston though.
>> Anonymous
I hope another hurricane rolls on in there this summer

I punched the numbers recently, and it seems more people would tune in for a series if LA makes in to the CF then Utah, and more people would tune in for a series if NO makes the CF than if San Antonio did. One of the main reasons is that the Hornets are considered a "more exciting" team to watch on television based on how they play the game; another is people wanting to support teams for New Orleans, considering it is STILL a hell hole almost 3 years after Katrina.
In the East, most people wanted Detroit more than Orlando, and Boston more than Cleveland, so that would be the East CF that could draw the biggest ratings.
Finals wise? LA vs. Boston would be number one, with the next biggest being NO vs. Boston, partly due to Boston being bigger than Detroit in amount of fans, and many people once again supporting NO due to Katrina.
Fitting: worse rating possible would be Utah vs San Antonio and Detroit vs. Cleveland for the conferance finals; considering that's the series we saw last year, I bet that we may see these teams play each other again, and see David Stern drink huge amounts of whiskey again.

>>98952
You did what to the numbers now?
>> Anonymous
>>98954
punched them, they didn't get back to the kitchen

>>98910

Calm down. forget about this game and focus on game six. we win that game and anything can happen in the 7th game. I've been a fan of the spurs since david robinson hi-fived me when i was 9. If they win, fucking great, if they lose... thanks for this season let's get ready for the next. But i won't stop rooting for them even if they are down 3-0 in a series. I won't count them out until New Orleans beats them.

LA vs NO

would definitely be more appealing to watch. I'd watch a few quarters of SA vs Utah only.

hey who actually watched the Finals last year?
>> Anonymous
>>99493
I watched a little.

Spurs-Cavs is still better than Spurs-Pistons. I mean, noting can be worse than Spurs-Pistons.
>> Anonymous
>>99503
I've seen WNBA games more entertaining than Spurs-Pistons.

Well, WNBA game, but my point stands.
>> Anonymous
>>99514
You're admitting you watch the WNBA? Fag.
>> Anonymous
I want Utah to win the finals just because i feel bad for Jerry Sloan.

He holds the record for the most playoff games without winning a title.
>> Anonymous
The most interesting Western final to me would be NO vs Utah. Yuo would have the two best young PGs going against each other and Boozer vs West. That would be one hell of a series and the start of what could be a great rivalry.
>> Anonymous
>>99590
i'd enjoy that just cause the lakers would be out, but we know they're through. i'd rather the whorenets make it to the final through kobe though, and not have the jazz do their dirty work for them
