Tony Romo is a pussy.

I hear he talked to "a veteran QB who had broken a pinky in the past" and is going to play through it.

Apparently us Packer fans are the only ones who remember all the interceptions Favre threw while his pinky was broken. He also made good plays and won some games but for short passes and running Johnson will do. No point in having an injured Romo out there not really playing well (those long balls will not go as planned if his injury is like Favre's) to aggravate it more when Johnson could do the same and Romo could get healthy faster.

That's why he should cut the fuckin thing off.

I'd rather let Romo rest and heal and lose 3 straight games with Brad Johnson. Then let Romo play injured, still might lose because it hurts his play, and have him prolong the injury. We need him playing his best the second half of the season, and in December.

Pretty sure this is what the coaches and Jerry are thinking as well.

Jerry Jones is obviously thinking
"Daunte Culpepper is younger than Brad Johnson...what am I doing?"

it's really hard to throw with a splint, trust me

even so. Thats why he is getting paid like he is. He has to play through the adversity and even though I am sure it takes a huge adjustment the cowboys aren't in a position where they can lose 3 more games.

Brad Johnson isn't a backup cut out for this IMO.

30-40 carries total to Felix Jones and Marion Barber per game (who are both awesome). Short passes to TO, Roy Williams and Witten. No dragon unleashing.

i actually think it may be a better situation with johnson in the lineup. he may not be the quickest guy on the field but he's reliable as fuck, wont throw too many interceptions and knows when to get rid of the ball, and when to protect it. But then again his playing style isnt geared towards garrett's offense so it may be tough going anyways...bad time for the cowboys.

Shit, if the Cowboys do this they'll be fine without Romo. The running game with Marion Barber is their real strength.

The big question is, will they continue to run the ball when they get Romo back.

Ronnie Lott? Flipping burgers? It's not as likely as you may think.

Felix Jones will be out just as long as Romo, with a partially torn hamstring. The good thing is that the Cowboys prepared for an incident like this last year, and drafted Tashard Choice out of Georgia Tech.

The problem with the Cowboys is their offensive line. It has been playing like absolute shit since the Packers game. The run game can never be established, and Romo is under constant pressure. Once the offensive line starts clicking again, the Cowboys will look like the team they are supposed to be.
