I'm a Eurofag who was seriously into NBA around '95. I've just started reviving my old hobby, but I'm pretty clueless. Could you give me the names of some players to look out for, /sp/?

It was the Hornets that lost twice against the Wizards.

Same Wizards dropped Boston back-to-back WITH Boston's big three.
Wizards are always pulling off huge wins, mostly to conference rivals (they took season sweep on Detroit last year I believe).

On the note of Portland:

When they have a full roster (James Jones included) their record is absolutely ridiculous. They are the third youngest team to suit up in the NBA AND they have a winning record. They also have the #1 draft pick (center Greg Oden) recovering from micro-fracture (on schedule to be back next year)

The craziest part is the Blazers went from the worst team character wise to a group of really outstanding kids. They don't chest-pound or talk about stats...

In a few years the Rose Garden will probably be the toughest arena in the NBA.

the zach randolph trade was awesome. the significance of that move cannot be overstated.

that being said, with all these young guys there, potential doesn't win games for you. Roy looks like he's already there, but Aldridge/Outlaw/Webster/Jack etc. all have to take that next step. and with a such a big guy like Oden coming back from the kind of injury that he had, you never know how long he'll last. but good thing he's still so young.

either way, i'm hoping to see some good things out of the blazers in the future.
