Well that was a beautiful thing to behold.

Indeed it was

It's always nice to see a college game end before their gay overtime rules start.

wwwaaaaaatttt? college overtime rules are the best. they actually give both teams a fair shot. unlike the pros where whoever wins the coin toss usually wins the game.

i almost forgot how fun it is to watch ku lose

That kick was epic, I thought it was going to miss and then it was like LOOK OUT BITCHES and just squeezed in

I peed a little

College football's overtime sucks, just not as hard as the NFL's. I wish they had a soccer-style overtime, two ten-minute long periods, each team kicks off once.

Yeah, because they haven't been losing that much lately.

Soccer-style pisses me off with the second overtime dealie. I like college's rules the best because I like baseball's extra innings and college rules are essentially the same thing.

The teams should be bumped back a bit to start, though. Maybe at their own 35 instead of the opponent's 30 or whatever it is.

I dislike USF strongly. I was rooting for Kansas, but they fucked it up. But, USF will lose three in a row in the middle of the season, and things will go back to normal.

Also: Matt Grothe looks like a pedophile redneck.

Both these teams will prove to have been over-ranked in the end.

What's with all the anti-Kansas sentiment? Still bawwwwwing over the fact that Memphis is allergic to good free throw shooting?

Probably because Kansas has outlawed teaching of evolution, and is home to the church that sponsors www.godhatesfags.com.

It's probably wrong to punish an entire populace, and university, for the actions and beliefs of a pecentage of the population, but if that's the message you send, that's what you get.

Plus, USF has only had a team since like 1999. What's to hate?

I fucking hate the Big East; they've got too many basketball schools, and their football is undeserving of a BCS bid. They even cheated to keep their autobid, the year before they lost all their good schools to the ACC.

The thing about USF, is they're kinda like the last kid picked at dodgeball. "Well, I DEFINITELY want Louisville, and Cincinnati, and uh... fuck. I GUESS I'll take the Bulls, tho they'll never be on tv..."

And, BAM, they're the only thing keeping the league afloat, plus they're like the 2nd best team in Florida. SUCK IT, ACC. And hey, SUCK IT, WVU/Louisville.

I don't know how you can call WVU an underachieving BCS squad. Maybe they blew it this year, but it's hard to draw your conclusion based on past performance.

WVU has been padding their schedule for years. I'll grant you they did beat Georgia last year, but that's what made it so shocking. WVU (like Louisville) schedules cream puff I-AA and MAC teams, then goes 11-1 and are like, "See, we're good! We beat Connecticut, that's proof!" and I was like, "Wut?"

They finally scheduled some tough nonconf opponents this year, and got Pwned. I'm still giggling a week later.

Georgia didnt lose to wvu last year we only lost to south carolina and tenn.

Bah, my bad, you're right. Georgia crushed Hawaii, but WVU beat Oklahoma, which is what I meant.

I get all those arrogant, hillybilly schools confused.

Georgia was three years ago.

My thought is, since the Big East and Mountain West don't have a league title game, have the conference champions from those two leagues play for the auto-bid.

Protip: ECU was supposed to be a creampuff team.
