Jake Peavy will accept a trade to the Yankees, but not the Red Sox.

You honestly think Beckett and Dice K are better than Peavy? Are you fucking dense?

Durr it has nothing to do with being in a pitcher's ballpark vs. a hitters paradise, huh boss?

In Boston, Peavy is a #2 (behind Beckett). He wants to go somewhere where he can be the staff ace.

HAVE YOU SEEN THE NL WEST THIS YEAR?

The AL can field offensive teams like the Red Sox, and the Rangers. The NL fields the Padres, and the Giants. Even teams with an offensive reputation like the Reds, and Rockies sucked at hitting the ball this year.

Have you seen the AL West? Take a look at the Mariners and Athletics. Truth is, the NL is a lot better than people think. Want further proof?

The NL dominates among the top ten in all offensive categories.

Peavy isn't getting traded to the AL West. (Unless the Angels wow the Padres, and I don't see that happening). He's likely getting traded to the AL East or NL East. Now the difference between the teams between those two divisions is more slight than say, the NL East to the AL west. (Which was a crummiest division around) But the AL East was the best division in baseball. With the best offenses in baseball, fielding teams such as the Red Sox, Yankees and Rays.

That's not a bad group of teams.

If it's the best division in baseball how come it's winner just lost the World Series four games to one?

Same reason why the Lakers won the NBA west, but lost the championship to the Celtics.

Shit happens in a 7 game series.

That still doesn't mean that NL is suddenly superior to the AL. You want a large sample size as you can get, and the interleauge games show how better the AL is over the NL.
