Most fags here are gonna tell you to go to /fit/ but some people here are actually athletes...

Anyways, eat alot, sleep alot and lift alot. Do fewer reps with alot of weight.

whats /fit/ ?

You should have known he's a troll when he said he's 103 pounds. That's almost impossible if you're a guy. Hell, even for a lot of girls.

If you ever need spending cash for freeweights, check this out:

http://www.gangstergreed.com?ref=66672

The deal is, you fill out small surveys and get paid a little bit for each one. Over time the money adds up. The guy who runs the site gets paid to find people to look at the ads and surveys. So you help make him money, and he passes some along to you.

Certainly not as fun as 4chan, but it pays much better.

i grew from 5'5" to 5'11" in my 18th year, so you might not be done growing yet. heavier weights less reps is sound advice for growing muscle

If you are 18, only 5'1" and weight 103lbs you should forget becoming buff and just go be a ladyboy in Thailand.

He wants to get buff, not ripped.

Buff = Big
Ripped = Toned

More reps less weight = Ripped
Less reps more weight = Buff

Im not trying to be rude but when I was 14, my freshman year of highschool I weighed 135 and benched 185. You should at least be able to bench your bodyweight.

Dont try to do it all in one day. The first week will hurt like hell (when I started curls my arms were stuck like a t rex) as it gets more regular you should start jumping at least 5 pounds every couple of weeks

Do squats too. I usually do a leg day then an arm day. I went from a db to a line backer and my senoir year i ended up being an all region DE.

5'9 205 bench max:345 Squat max:415

Btw, unless your bar is made of lead it looks like your only benching 65.

Its better to have a friend work out with you. I suggest a program called P90X it depends on what you want. Theres toning which gives you a muscular appearance but not a large one but attractive. Then there is muscle mass which due to your size would give you a good appearance but a large body.
So follow this
Toning: 8-12 reps of your normal lift
Mass:3-7 reps of above your normal mass where you're struggling at three or four.
Also take some protein powder, change your diet, and hope for the best.

Thats not true, a lot of muscle before the teen years is usually developed due to activities. Playing sports builds the muscle, as well yard work which a lot of kids do. But although in some cases there are the kids that are just strong without doing a thing.

That's a BAAAWWWWWWW sage right there if I've ever seen one.

To those reading, don't ever, ever weight-lift this much. At most you can damage/deform the muscle right off the tendon (and if you try heavy weights on very fatigued muscles, you can actually rip them in half - someone did this in my high school weight room working their pecs), and at best you'll end up losing a lot of flexibility in the muscle when the tears heal, unless you sleep on a crucifix.

tl;dr: don't be a muscle-bound faggot, use some common sense when you're in the weight room.

guy that said that. it wasnt from the amoun t of weight or lifting. I just didnt stretch like i should have after. stretching after a work out is as if not more important than doing it before

and about the lifting his body weight. Im not saying he should be able to lift it his first time ever benching but he should at least work out enough that he can get to that point (hot girls or not)

Im by no means a muscle head and in the 4 years I was in the high schools weight lifting program the only injury by any one was a broken foot from a dropped weight.

I did assume you had stretched after you worked out.

Obviously if your arms are curling up after stretching, you've done some damage to your muscles and tendons.
