Admit it, /sp/, you miss me.

You miss the epic threads about my failpen. You miss the lulz that were had when Wright or Reyes couldn't come up in the clutch. You miss worshiping at the altar of Jobu.

You know it's true. The playoffs just aren't the same without us. Watching the Cubs fail for the 100th year in the row is just tiresome. Nobody cares about Eva Longoria, especially now that the Buccaneers are back in town. I guess it's fun to watch Manny be Manny, but wouldn't you rather watch Carlos Voltron?

You know it's true. /sp/ just isn't the same without me. Not even 18-1 can fill the void I've left in your hearts.

I guess you'll just have to endure the long harsh winter without me. See you next spring...

I feel great without you, Mr. Met. This post-season has been a joy. But I do thank you for such a fun September here on /sp/.

You're my hero Mr. Met. Without you, my team's playoffless streak would be at 27 years. I love you!

I'm not really missing you, Mr. Met.

The Mets, themselves, weren't really that interesting. If they had gotten in, what would we watch them for? The main reason the Mets were awesome was because they failed harder than any team in the world could in two straight seasons.
