Phillies are gonna take the Brewers in 4.

Which game? Brewers v. Phillies is Yovani Gallardo for the Brews and Cole Hamels for the Phillies.

And before anyone says it, yes, I added an A by accident to the beginning of "LDS" because I'm so used to only talking about the ALDS online. So sue me.

Cubsfags, lets be serious. Are you really happy with Dempster? This is first year starting in a long time.
>> Anonymous
>>373630
nigga are you being serious. have you looked a dempster's stats at home this season, i'd suggest you go to mlb or espn to see why he gets the nod.
>> Anonymous
>>373633

He's a fluke. An even bigger one than Cliff Lee.

Lowe will hold down the line for the Dodgers, and then Bobby Howry will give up 900000000 homers to Manny and Ethier and Kemp.

aaa dodgers plus manny are gonna be playing an AL calibre team now, this is not nl west anymore it's more like AL east where two teams that had a better record than you and played a much tougher schedule failed to make the playoffs. heck come to think about it, the nl central had two teams with a better record than you that did not make the playoffs. i lol.

Very satisfied. I think I'd rather have Harden start in game 1 and Dempster in game 2 but you know what? I'm pretty sure Demps will do his job right.

Cubs vs. Red Sox.

Red Sox wins their 3rd world series in five years, and start a civil war between Chicago and Boston.
>> Anonymous !!35pjJ34t/2v
>>373677
I would have thought bandwagoners would be going for Rays vs. Cubs, but I guess Phillies works too.

Whatever. Go Red Sox.
>> SSG Posted Here
Sad to say, but Boston will beat the Angels; They are better built for the post-season in both their hitting and pitching; hopefully the Angels will buck their trend of folding, like they have in their last 3 playoff series.

I know the Cubs are a "better" team this year, but they are also the biggest fail in sports history; Dodgers will win the series, thanks to that, and their new mascot Dougie.

Phillies and Brewers are a coin flip; either team could win the series, but I give a slight advantage to the Brewers, just because they seem hungrier and a little more determined to win.

White Sox and Rays is also a coin flip, for the Rays are a better team, but it seems the White Sox are on a roll, and they have the experience. I give an advantage to the Rays solely off their holding the home-field advantage in this series, and nothing else.

>>373689
Edit: Meant 3 playoff appearences for the Angels, not playoff series; I forgot they did win in the ALDS in 05, but then got raped by Chicago in the ALCS, just as they were raped by Boston in the ALDS in 04 and 07.

This is mostly unrelated, but. Google opened a site to search their web index from January of 2001, and I did a search for Red Sox, and this is one of the things I found, and it made me lol.

Dreaming, dreaming.

Phillies Rays

Phillies in 6

And before all your bandwagon bullshit, I have been a life long Phillies fan... whether they are finishing in dead last or first in their division, love them thru and thru.

hai there billy goat, everyone thinks it's your fault that the cubs haven't won in a long time, but i know that the real reason is what the cubs did to merkle in 1908. merkle came to me in a dream and told me that all is forgiven and that the cubs would win this year. goodbye goat.

BREAKING NEWS

Milwaukee Brewers second basemen Rickie Weeks has been killed. Weeks was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest outside Citizen's Bank Park in Philadelphia. Just hours beforehand, Weeks' error kept the third inning alive, eventually an inning that plated three runs for Philadelphia.

"I got to say what happened to Rickie is a complete shocker," says Brewers long-time play-by-play radio broadcaster, and baseball Hall of Famer Bob Uecker, "That bullet was the first thing Rickie caught today."

The Philadelphia Homicide detectives are questioning the few Brewer fans in attendance, as well as the entire team and crew that made the trip from Milwaukee.

"It's obvious whoever killed him came from Milwaukee," says Homicide Detective Bunk Moreland, "these Philly fans look at Weeks as a hero, he was the MVP for Philadelphia today. There's just no motive for them."

I don't know why the entire thread doesn't think the Angels will dominate. I know they have fallen apart recently in the playoffs but come on. 100 wins, record-setting closer who's arguably one of the best, 5 starters with at least 10 wins, and good offense. Don't kid yourselves
