How does /sp/ think the NL West will play out this year? Who will win it between the Dodgers, Rockies, D-Back, and Padres?

Same as last year: D-Backs take division, Rockies get the Wild Card.

lol, San Fran owned

On topic: I believe the Rockies will finish 1st in the NL, yet will get eliminated early in the playoffs.

San Fran is officially going nowhere for at least the next two years.

Also, I agree on the Rockies assessment. They were riding luck all the way to the WS, and they just don't have the pitching to do that again.

D-backs take the division, but I'm not so sure about the Rockies repeating. They got incredibly hot at the end of the season, and got incredibly lucky to get into the playoff game. (Thanks to the Brewers!) I'm not denying they have talent, I just think a lot of things worked out just perfectly for them at the end of the season, and predicting them to do incredibly well may be a bit of a stretch. Their pitching is mostly what I think they have as far as weaknesses go, and Holliday and Tulowitski can't carry the team on their own.

dodgers win the division with speed and clutch hitting
