UT lead for 1:30 of 60:00. UT had a chance to make plays, but they didn't, which is why Texas Tech won.
OU has a similar excuse with the loss of Ryan Reynolds halfway through the game. The yards against for OU's defense doubled when Brandon Crow was in at MLB. OU struggled next week when they tried to convert Nic Harris to MLB, but since Box has settled down at MLB, the OU D has been almost as good since before Reynold's injury. Why is your excuse more valid than this excuse? If OU loses tonight and Texas Tech wins next week, who do you think should go? If you say Texas, why? Texas Tech, according to Horn logic, "settled it on the field"
This is why head-to-head is bullshit in a three-way tie with each team only losing to each other and no other teams. It's why other factors like SOS have to become the mitigator in this clusterfuck.
