>Tazawa appears set to start career with Red Sox.

Junichi Tazawa...... Is that a name, or just a really bad scrabble hand?

You're on 4chan.

From what I read he seems like a top prospect, 95 mph fastball with a slider and 12-6 curve. He's no Yu Darvish but he won't be available for a while anyway.

enjoy never being able to sign a Jap player again, Red Sox

I doubt it. Again this is overblown, gentleman's agreements are meaningless and petty. Now if it was written in paper or something then I'd understand. ALSO you're saying if the Red Sox offer a Japanese team the most money for a posted player they won't take it? I laugh at you.

This.

Hideo Nomo did something similar to this in 1995, nothing really happened.

Am I wrong or is he just a Relief Pitcher?

From what I read he's a swing man. Boston would play him as a reliever though.

They can't use him as a reliever. It's in his contract to remain a starter.

Why the hell waste money on an unproven Jap then?

Well he does seem to have some talent and I doubt they'll throw him into the majors right away. They could always stick him in the minors until he develops and gerts used to American baseball.

Yeah I thought of him, but his performance started to decline in Japan before he joined the Yankees.
