how would i go about becoming the manager of a football team
when i say football i mean soccer btw

how complicated is the process?
do i have to have ever played on a team because despite the fact that i adore the game, ive never, ever played for a team before.

No, you do not have to have played before.

You have to do a coach/manager course, try to do it in europe.

There are different levels of certification for managers. Obviously to coach a top level team you have to have the top level certification. It's kind of recent and some tried and true managers have been grandfathered in like Ferguson. It's all a bit confusing to me actually but it's a big part of the process.

retard, some of the best managers in the game have never played, Mourinho Graham Taylor and Carlos Alberto Parreira are a few that you may of heard of. Parreira was one of only 2 managers that has led 4 teams to the wc. Get a clue before you give out advice.
