There are rumors afloat that Sundin might be willing to take a Stanley-Cup discount for a one-year contract. He'd get to play for a serious Cup contender, plus he would only have to play against his Leafs once, twice tops. But it seems more likely to me that the Wings are going to try and maintain last years roster as much as possible, with the removals of Lilja and maybe Stuart so as to help free up the massive logjam that Detroit has for defensive talent.
