ITT: Come clean about your team in 5 points (positive and negative)

I'm a Broncos fan.

1. This season we will go 7-9 at best. This so-called "defense" we have is the worst I've seen in NFL history. And I'm old.

2. We have terrible RBs. Undrafted fumbling faggots and an old TB reject.

3. Cutler + Marshall and Royal will become an extremely potent force. While dangerous, they're not there yet.

4. The very young o-line has the look of the 90's infamous Bronco o-line. The 1st round pick Ryan Clady is already looking like a monster and Cutler has hardly been sacked this season.

5. Shanahan. The two pointer against SD was awesome, but the recent drafts, signings, etc. Poor. Very, very poor. Maybe it's time for a change. I'm not going to even mention the defense.

1. We are not a running team even thought John Fox tries to make us one.
2. Jake Delhomme is completely underrated in his own city.
3. Julius Peppers needs to get his shit together or we might as well trade him.
4. 1st down play action....i swear to god it will work everytime since we have run on first down in every non 2 min drill situation since the beginning of time.

Broncofag here too as well.

You make some good points but I gotta disagree, I think the Broncos will go at least 9-7, If just look at the schedule. If they win the following games, which none of them are really stretches, with the exception of the Chargers, but they looked awful vs the Saints last week.

W - Miami
L - Cleveland
L - Atlanta
W - Oakland
W - Jets
W - Kansas
L - Carolina
L - Buffalo
W - San Diego

Final Record: 9-7

But then again this also hitches on the Broncos not turning the ball over every other drive, which is why the defense is playing so shitty when they are on the field over 70% of the time, they are going to give up big plays.

And yes Cutler/Marshall/Royal/Scheffler is a vicious combo, they just need a good running game to go with the pass offense.

Broncos have a some what easy schedule, they have Miami, Cleveland, Atlanta and Oakland, so they should at LEAST win those 4. Young isn't too bad, but they should look at drafting one or see who's gonna be in the FA market. They'll make the playoffs, but won't make it out of the Wild Card round with that ugly ugly D.

1. We have a solid, yet injury prone QB, and our backups are both rookies.

2. Our offensive line commits too many penalties, and our running game is struggling.

3. We have one of the best receiving corps in the league. Jennings, Driver, Jones, Nelson, and Martin, with Lee at TE.

4. Our drafting is very hit and miss. One year we draft Jennings, the next we pick Justin Harrel. Yeah, I don't know who he is either.

5. We'll finish 9-7 and barely win the NFC North. Bears will eventually crumble on offense, and I don't see the Vikings passing us. Also lol Detroit.

Cardsfag here.

1. We will finish, at worst, 8-8. We're more likely to go 9-7 or 10-6. If we lose to the Rams on Sunday, we're packing up the season and starting Leinart from here on out.

2. Edgerrin James and Matt Leinart need to be dealt, cut, or somehow gotten off the fucking team. They're useless wastes of space and money that could be better used to resign Anquan Boldin.

3. Tim Hightower needs to start, and now.

4. Our entire season hinges on Kurt Warner staying healthy. If he gets hurt, we're done for. If he stays healthy, playoffs and maybe the NFC title game. The only competition he has in the league is Drew Brees and himself.

5. This is the best Cardinals team in decades. Let's not fuck this up.

1. Terrible O-Line. Just absolutely God-awful in almost every single respect.
2. Rodgers is the greatest QB in the NFC, yes I'm still counting Eli.
3. We do have the best receiving corps bar fucking none. Jennings is the best WR in the NFL, Driver is still tough as steel.
4. WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO OUR LINEBACKERS?! Barnett, Hawk, and Poppinga should be the elite corps in the NFC, but our run defense and pass pressure have been embarrassing from that group. The one bright spot was Brandon Chillar's stellar performance last week.
5. We will go at least 10-6. We're a team definitely on the rise, our injured players are getting better (Bigby, Harris, and Collins) and we will win the NFC North.
6. Charles Woodson is the greatest defensive player in the NFL right now, and should win the D Player of the year awards

1) Scott Linehan has been finally fired
2) Steve Jackson is a beast, but the man needs to learn when to put his head down and pound out a few yards instead of dancing around looking for a big gain.
3) We will get a good draft pick, but we have picked up some very questionable picks. (Long and Jackson excepted)
4) We will be lucky to get five or six wins this year
5) The D-Line is shaping up, but the O-line is fucking terrible and not getting better.

1. Our defense is either fucking old or brand-new to the league, and thus we suffer and get burned

2. We focus on Brady and this year has sucked, relatively (Cassel's not doing bad, but 50 TD man he is not)

3. Our receiving corps is AWESOME but is struggling because Cassel refuses to look at anyone but his first receiver

4. We should really sign John Lynch again

5. Our rushing corps are powerful but everyone gets injured halfway through the season and they're dead men walking by the playoffs

Ravensfag

1. Our O-line commits too many penalties. Last week vs the Raiders we gave up a shitload of good plays due to holdings. They may be young but they need to stop this.

2. We need wide-outs. Heap sucks this year, and we have a very inconsistent receiving core.

3. Our secondary is too old. Opponents run games have been stopped, but they've been winning from the pass.

4. Matt Stover needs to retire. He isn't the Stover from even a couple years ago.

5. I think we should get rid of McGahee. Ray Rice is a beast when he runs it, and McClain has looked promising this year.

Personally I believe that if we can get to 8-8 this year, it'll be good looking forward.

THAT. BIRD. fan

1. We actually have the best WR corps. We have one of the best passing teams in the league. Last week we took one of the best passing teams and turned them into a joke, with absolutely no help at running. Hell, 30 of the 50 total rushing yards came from Boldin doing an end route.

2. Get rid of that waste of cap space Edgerrin James. All he has in mind now is padding his stats for record book. He hasn't done anything since getting picked up. Hightower would be good but his nickname worries me. He is known as the Bread Truck for carrying the football like a loaf of bread, causing a lot of fumbles. The last thing we need is another person that causes momentum killing turnovers. Draft CJ spiller as a poor mans Barber/Jones combo.

3. Rolle is a piece of shit. Put him at nickle back next season, and have DRC and Hood be the starting CBs. He is always taking bad angles and forgot how to tackle. Use 1st round choice on a killer FS.

4. Left side of the line is doing good, especially Gandy. Gandy is amazing. If you are an LT that can throw Peppers on his ass by yourself, you're good. The right side is a whole different story. Levi Brown only steps up for 3 or 4 plays than just stops caring the rest of the game. Deuce Lutui is as inconsistent. Both are just false starts waiting to happen.

5. The defense needs to l2tackle. They have had good plays, like Dansby knocking Marshawn Lynch on his ass when going into "beast mode". Overall, Pendergast is doing a decent job but needs to teach these dudes to tackle. I wouldn't mind if Wade Phillips got fired and we picked him up and put him at DC.

Anywhere between 9-7 and 11-5 is possible. Tough games ahead are the Eagles and Pats because they are decent east coast teams. Giants simply because of their d-line causing a threat to Warner's health and lackluster run offense.

1. Jason Campbell is easily the most efficient quarterback in the league right now...NO FUCKING INTERECEPTIONS. Not yet, anyway. He'll probably get a couple against Pittsburgh, but up 'til now, he's been stellar.

2. We shouldn't have signed Shaun Alexander because of his huge sense of entitlement, plus he's not a power runner at all.

3. The O-line is old, yes, and sometimes struggles against the pass rush, but has excelled in run blocking, which is why it's awesome.

4. Our special teams fucking suck. The only bright spot has been Moss returning that punt for a TD against Detroit (I swear that Redskins player was trying to bring him down), and the placekicker. THE FUCKING KICKER.

5. The D-line can't generate a pass rush at all...it's a wonder the defense as a whole is playing as well as it is. Jason Taylor needs to heal up, and fast.

6. We'll definitely make the playoffs, possibly the NFC title game if Jim Zorn can keep the team positive, confident and focused. If the team loses focus or starts overlooking opponents like it did against St. Louis, though, we're fucked.

Titans fan here.

1. The defense is good, but overrated. Bulluck is the Lorenzo Neal of linebackers. A player that is so often touted as underrated that he's actually overrated. The secondary is good, but the D-Line lacks the depth that allowed for its success last year.

2. Passing game is a joke. Kerry Collins is a joke. WR's are a joke. Bo Scaife is a serviceable receiving TE, but he's known to drop some key balls.

3. Running game is way overrated. LenDale White is perfect for when you need 3 yards and that's about it. He doesn't have a "nose for the endzone". If you hand it off to a guy that big three times in a row from the 1 yard line and he can't score, then he shouldn't be in the league. He just does his job. Chris Johnson is good, but can't hold on to the ball and his production will likely drop off as defenses get more film on him/the longer NFL season wears him down.

4. Special teams are still mediocre. The Titans' game plan allows for only the slightest margin for error. They can't cover kickoffs or punts the way they need to, but Bironas and Hentrich are both pros.

5. The wheels will come off. The Titans will undoubtedly lose 4 or 5 games this year. They could lose the next two very easily. We'll see how the team supports Collins when he's leading them to a .500 record in the second half of the season.

I'm a Cowboys fan.

1. Though I said time and time again it was unreasonable to expect a Super Bowl this year, I did anyway and thus I'm already crushed by the way this year has gone.

2. Our secondary was overrated coming in because, for some reason, they're unwilling to abandon bad safeties and instead just play a lot of corners. Even when Pacman and Newman were in, the safety help sucked. Our nickle and dime were good, though.

3. The line is ridiculously overrated, and I've said this for a while. If you remember the Raiders in 2002, they were big and strong, but not mobile. They got a great forward push and could create a good pocket against some teams. But if you sent a speed rusher against them, all hell would break loose. Fortunately, Gannon was mobile enough to stay alive, but there would come points that even that wasn't good enough. If the line had to move a lot, they'd tire out at the end of the game. And the GREAT defensive ends, like Jason Taylor and Simeon Rice, would abuse them to pieces (this is why I didn't think they had a prayer in the Super Bowl).

The Cowboys have the same line. It's big and it's strong, but it's not mobile and it's low on stamina. It's not bad, but it has too many flaws to be elite. And Romo's awareness, speedy release and mobility make it seem better in the passing game than it is, but even the best QB can't totally make up for a line when it falls to pieces.

4. Tony Romo is really good, but he's MADDENING. A poor man's Favre, he just makes mistakes that drive you crazy. And he has tiny ass hands that like to fumble.

5. The coaching staff is just not that good. Phillips is a great coordinator, but a bad head coach. And Garrett isn't but, but he's overrated. Romo makes him look a lot better than he really is.

4. Draft a heir to Hasselbeck as well. He gets injured every other year, but plays well the following season.

5. Our defense was always overrated, even last year when they "seemed" to play well, I knew they couldnt possibly hold that up. Our d-coordinator needs to go die, your defense cant be this horrible with the talent we have. Also Brian Russel is a huge faggot.

Obviously don't know much about the Packers receiving corps. Yes I will give it to you that Boldin/Fitzgerald is THE best receiving duo in the NFL, but the Packers have the best receiving corps by far. Jennings, the best overall receiver this year in the NFL, Driver, James Jones, Jordy Nelson (who leads NFL rookies in receiving yards and touchdowns), and Ruvell Martin make up the best group of wide receivers on any team top to bottom. And as for Driver not being as tough as Boldin, Donald Driver got hit EVERY SINGLE PLAY last year because we constantly sent him over the middle. Donald Driver once landed on his head against your Cardinals Commissioner Red, and people thought it was a give-in that he wouldn't play the rest of the season, and most feared he may never play football again, or maybe even never walk again, but Driver didn't miss a single game.

Somebody even compared the Packers corps to the Saints. Are you kidding me? I love Lance Moore, but that team has Moore and Colston and that's it. Who else is gonna step up for that team? Devery Henderson?

Haven't we proved yet that there is no team on the planet should sleep on us? I guess I could make that my first point...

1)For a year that is obviously rebuilding, the fact that we have shown time and time again that we can hang with some of the best teams in the league. This makes me quite happy and everyone should worry what we look like when we are done rebuilding and start playing.

2) We are not making the playoffs this year, we make far too many rookie mistakes. Yes we can hang in there, but more often then not we will lose that close game rather then winning it.

3)There is something wrong with our defense, but I can't quite put my finger on it. I think its mostly pass defense, in that overall we are solid but forget that the opponent has four downs instead of three to go ten yards. It seems like the best way to beat us is 'throw short and miss, throw short and miss, unleash dragon for nearly guaranteed 70 yard TD.'

4) Pennington is better then Favre and it is giving me a smug sense of happiness. I know people want to give a lot of credit to Brown, and he freaking deserves it. However, if we win its because of the intelligence and leadership of Pennington. If the Dolphins win, its because of Chad, if the Jest lose its because of Brett.

5)I honestly think the Dolphins should wipe Ricky Williams' slate clean if he continues to be the class act he has been this season. Its not easy being of starting talent and sharing hand offs with a guy who quite honestly is one of the best (I say the best but that will get me flamed off /sp/) running backs in the league. All the while he smiles and simply does his job and I respect that. In an league of steroids, theft, and murder is wanting to smoke pot really that bad? You can ask that of the law in general actually.

1. Our team is seriously held together with one player. That doesn't really bode well considering he's the player liable to take the most damage. If Trent gets hurt again for more than just one game, we're done.
2. We shouldn't have pushed McGee into playing that last game since his knee was still obviously bothering him. Epic failure on the part of Jauron.
3. Playoffs? You kidding me? You wanna talk about... playoffs? I just hope we can win a game!
4. Despite what the numbers may show, Lynch is a really awesome back. Sure he won't explode for 150 yards in a game, but BEAST MODE gets us TDs and 1st downs, that's all we really need.
5. Unfortunately, I think us winning the division requires more work from the Pats than it does the Bills. They have to make some sort of screw up or else the Bills will only get Wild Card at best.

1. Our defense is ridiculous this year. It has the reputation of always being, at the least, above average, but this year is truly inspired. We can only hope Rooney can clone Dick LeBeau and have LeBeau's brain transfered to its new body.

2. Roethlisberger let his reputation go to his head. He's proven he can play with the best, but now there's a certain cockiness to his decision-making on the field.

3. The offensive line is built to run-block...and that's all they can really do. They aren't nearly as horrible as Internet Football Experts claim against the pass rush, but they aren't anything better than "average". Hopefully, Pittsburgh will make moves for an above-average Tackle to handle those All-Pro ends that are giving the Steelers fits this year.

4. Arians has life-time membership in the FUCK IT, I'M GOING DEEP! fanclub, and the worst part is, when his two-trick offense actually works against the weaker defenses in the league, he takes that to mean his play-calling is effective. Arians cannot adjust to a defense more-than-prepared for his simple-minded plays. Don't get me wrong, Arians will call a few running plays and a short pass (or screen) during a game, but if they don't produce 5+ yards, Bruce goes straight back to the seven-step drop. I think Arians is too busy jerking off to Big Ben's throwing arm to realize his team's defense gives him a flexibility in play-calling that few in the league really enjoy.

5. Tomlin. Fire Arians. Really, what were you, a black man, doing hiring a guy named "Aryan"?
