bitch please
I grew up in China for 10 years and lived America for 13, I speak perfect Chinese and have extensive interest and knowledge in politics, and I tell you, people in China do not have a hostile attitude towards ANYONE except Japan (even that is slowly fading away).
If you read the Chinese blogs and BBS boards, the Chinese are more critical of themselves than anyone else. They constantly express concern over how their government and country is portrayed on things like the loli singer and the loli gymnasts. They do care about winning the most gold medals, but it's not at all about dethroning the USA. The American media seem to constantly SHIT on the Chinese for every tiny mistake they make, and blow things out of proportion. Fuck, I only saw glimpses of videos on the news about how much China has improved over the past decade and how much effort Beijing has put in to welcome the world, but MOST of the news about China is the reporters bawwwwing about every little insignificant thing they can think of about how much China sucks.
Myself, I only started to hate America after I hear so much shit about how much America sucks from the AMERICAN media. I guess a healthy amount of censorship is a good thing
