>>338385 OH LOL. There is a big difference of a "yard" penalty of 8 yards, and a game changing turnover that would've iced the game.
You can only give so many chances to a team to punch it in. Denver should have never had four, let alone five.
Then again, No Merriman = No playoffs. Especially since now it could look like LT will be hitting the shelf for a bit as well. And isn't Gates nursing the same thing?
Chargers are done done done. They'll probably beat the easy fry, but wont be able to beat any decent teams this season, and will get crushed by whatever constitutes as a elite team this season. Which, to be honest, comes down to *gasp* the Steelers, the Giants and the Cowboys. Sorry Indy and Patfags, your teams have either key pieces hurt or they're totally out of synch right now.
But yea, LT hurt, Merriman done, safeties suck ass, Jamal Williams is still not 100%, Phillips will be seeing double teams all year, and the O-line is still missing two pro bowlers (like a certain Indy team.)
The only reason the Chargers look good is because of Sproles who is a stud, the fullback who is a pass catching stud (but sucks ass blocking), and Phillip Rivers who will probably be grabbing his knee before this season is over.
Denver will win the division, then will get thoroughly owned by Pittsburgh. Looks like its the Cowboys year for sure this year.
