Sup /sp/,
Say hi to the future 2009 Sprint Cup Series Champion!

Since when does driving cars in circles really fast make you an athlete?

Is this an automated response?

You would think that people would come up with better opinions than the "cars in circles" cliche.

The way he's running in the 18 this year, it might be 2008.

If he keeps a level head.

Ironic how that car failed so hard with Yeley in it. I remember when Yeley was coming through the ranks he was the anointed one.

Okay, I'll say it like this.

Since when does driving a car around a track simotaneously make you an athlete?

To elaborate some more on what I was talking about, it's nothing that's hidden. I think Kyle is much better than his brother Kurt. He has a tendency to wear his emotions on his sleeve and I think that detracts from his talent, but I think moving to Joe Gibbs is probably the best thing that could have happened for him.

If he wants to win this year, I think he'd be hard to beat for the title.

I wouldn't call it too ironic. Yeley is just that much worse than Kyle. I agree...JJ showed a fucking lot of talent early on in NBS in 2005 or so. I think he can still wheel a damned car. But Kyle is, well, the real deal.

Kyle is a better driver than Junior.

He's a nutcase, but he can race like a motherfucker.

Kyle can win the championship this year, easy.

he just reclaimed the posts lead, turns out nascar is full of cheaters.

no way to really say who's going to win the champion chip, this time last year everyone said kevin harvick was the man to beat, and look what happened.
it's a crap shoot in the final ten races.

Enormous amounts of G-Forces being put on the body, the car symbolically becoming an 'extension of the driver's body', and plenty of the same skills and conditioning it takes for regular sports.

Also, Kyle Busch is the new Ernie Irvan. Checkers or wreckers is his driving style, which reminds me a lot of Irvan. But Busch has some maturing to do yet before he wins a championship. Him taking just about the entire field out in the Truck race at Daytona is evidence of that.
