>>149192 Oh, don't get me started on the DTM.
The old DTM before it was canceled in 1995 was great. Mercedes vs. Alfa Romeo vs. Opel. AWD, full aero, carbon brakes, screaming V6s, ABS, it was essentially F1 for the cars you and I drive every day.
Then DTM comes back in 2000. Mercedes, Opel, and Audi. And for a few years things are alright. Then GM shuts down Opel racing and it becomes Mercedes and Audi. FOR 3 FUCKING YEARS NOW.
Sure, all the cars in NASCAR look the same, same body, etc, but at least there's 4 different manufacturers between 43 cars (plus the one-off entries and the guys that don't qualify) and not one is a factory team, all technically privateers. But look at the DTM. Like 20 cars and half the field is owned strictly by Mercedes, half by Audi. So what happens when one or 2 Audi teams gets butthurt about a couple of Mercedes drivers actually racing them hard and getting into them? AUDI PULLS ALL THEIR CARS OUT OF THE RACE.

"At Barcelona, Häkkinen collided with Martin Tomczyk and Daniel la Rosa with Mattias Ekström. This and couple of other incidents caused that all Audi drivers withdrew from the race with nine laps to go."
And nothing says SUPERIOR like not even being able to pick up the right driver during the safety car period. "OOPS WE FUCKED UP SO WE'RE JUST GOING TO GIVE YOU GUYS HALF POINTS :V "
DTM needs to be fixed. BAD.
And fyi, WRC has been nothing but fail and suck since they changed regulations from the old Group A class to the new WRC class. Fuck that.
