All of you are fucking idiots. I'm sick of everyone sucking the SEC and Pac-10's collective dix. the best conference in college football is the big 12.

We have OU, Missouri, Texas, Texas Tech, Kansas (all top 25 teams) and surprise teams like KState, Colorado and Nebraska.

Basically, respect the Big-12, for they are the greatest Conference Evar!

Fellow Big12fag posting. (From Gillett Hall actually)

Yeah, we don't get respect because we don't have any major media outlets here...unless you count the countless Missouri grads working at ESPN.

best be trollin'. pac-10 has 3 solid teams in U$C, ASU and Oregon. UCLA isn't proven yet, I feel like the win against TN was a fluke, but either way, the pac-10 is light years behind the big-12 and the sec.
>> Anonymous
>>312483
biggest problem isn't that noone wants to cover them, but the shitty tv deal that the morons who run the conference run. It only allows for one game to be shown at a time so scheduling doesn't work while trying to promote a conference.
>> kris-alyx devereux
but there are great teams in the big 12 like texas oklahoma (go sooners) & colorado but here in the east you can just barely watch them sure you might get an ocasional game on csn but that about it.

Big 12 = SEC
Oklahoma/Texas = Georgia/Florida
MS/MS State = Texas Tech/OK State
Nebraska = Arkansas
A&M = Alabama
Baylor = Vandy

... I'm already bored, I've made this point so many times before. But it still stands.

Holy shit, good lord you couldn't be more right. A&M lost to some scrubs in the SUN BELT.

>>312650
No you're point doesn't stand, because Vandy could easily wipe the floor with Baylor. They gave UGA a nice scare last year and beat them @ UGA the year before that. Being dead last in the SEC doesn't mean it's equal to being dead last in the Pac-10 or Big 12.

I'm not going to get into an inane piss match of who's conference is better since no one will ever change their minds. All I'll say is watch who makes it to the National Championship and another BCS bowl this year.

Oklahoma = Georgia
Texas = LSU
Missouri = Florida
Tech = Auburn
Kansas = Alabama
Oklahoma State = South Carolina
Colorado = Tennessee
Kansas State = Kentucky
the rest are also all equally bad

0/10. SEC is lucky Arkansas didn't lose to W Illinois, though ESPN would have completely ignored it anyway.
>> Anonymous
>>312763
Let me think about that one..
Georgia is like Colorado in that they're chokers. Auburn is pretty much the exact opposite of Tech and are more like.. okay, who's a Big XII team with a mediocre offense and a top 5 defense? Florida is only like Mizzou if you draw comparisons to Tim and Chase, otherwise they should be better on both sides of the ball. Oklahoma State is like... Vandy, really. Perennial loser that always is on the cusp except for the ONE FATAL FLAW. Alabama is obviously Oklahoma: a team nobody likes with a history and douchebag fans, though I've never been to a Nebraska game. Kansas State is Old Ole Miss: they're inexplicably good even though they have an uphill battle for recruits. LSU is... shit, uh... Texas without a history of winning I guess. Tennessee is Texas A&M, only not to the extreme bad that A&M has become.

Are you guys too young to remember nebraskas dominance?

we've done it before and we'll do it again, you can kind of call us what south carolina should be you know we'll be good, but when!

Oklahoma < Georgia
This one is funny because they're both chokers.

Texas < LSU
LSU is pretty much a perfect matchup for Texas. Can you imagine the fits the LSU DLine would give Texas? This would be a fun game though.

Missouri < Florida
Juice Williams looked like a Heisman winner vs. Mizzou's defense. Tim Tebow is an actual Heisman winner. But Mizzou really did have a shit defense.

Tech < Auburn
Auburn has one of the best secondaries in the country. Tech has just an bad enough defense to allow the average Tiger offense to move up and down the field.

Kansas > Alabama
Kansas dominates Alabama. Saban compares the game to the Holocaust.

Oklahoma State < South Carolina
I don't really need to commentate on this one.

Colorado (?) Tennessee
I have no clue. Colorado struggled a bit vs. CSU, but this may be the year they get everything in order. UT has more talent, but are they falling apart?

Kansas State < Kentucky
Kentucky wins the Taco Bell Who Gives a Fuck Bowl
>> Anonymous
>surprise teams like KState, Colorado and Nebraska.

Oh dear lord....
>> Anonymous
Georgia has been to 3 BCS games since 03, kinda hard for me to call them "chokers" seeing how this is only the second time since Herschel Walker they've started around the top 5 and been considered a real contender to begin with. Oklahoma, now there's a real choker.

Oklahoma/Texas and Georgia/Florida are easily indisputable, because (a) they both play an annual rivalry game on a neutral field, and (b) they've all won national championships fairly recently.

Vandy and Baylor are both relgious schools who are only even in the conference to boost average graduation rates and GPA. Just because Vandy is having a good couple of years doesn't mean they're about to be contenders. Baylor had a few good years during the SWC days, but their GPA requirements are so high, they'll never get kicked out. Even though (from an athletic standpoint) they deserve to be.

A&M and Alabama both have braindead toothless hillbillies for fans.

Anything else I'm willing to hear arguments on, but it should be noted that Nebraska, LSU and Arkansas all think they're the shit, cuz they're the only BCS schools in the state. That's a special kind of arrogance, especially considering they haven't won shit.

... okay, LSU did, but USC was the better team that year. Fucking BCS.

>>314005
Baylor wasn't even supposed to be in the Big 12 at first. TCU was going to be the fourth Texas school added until politicians in Austin got involved.
>> Anonymous
>>314009
Baylor is in the Big 12 to jack up the collective GPA the NCAA mandates each conference to have.
>> Anonymous
>>314009
I never heard TCU mentioned... only that the Big 8 wanted to add just two schools, until the governor said, "No, you're taking Baylor and Texas Tech, because I said so."
>> Anonymous
>>314010
EVERY bcs conference has those. SEC has Vandy, Big 12 has Baylor, Pac-10 has Stanford, Big East had Temple but now Syracuse... it's like a scam they all agreed to run.
>> Anonymous
>>314012
Temple? Good lord son, the average GPA of college students is only 3.35. That's not bad, but Temple isn't and wasn't the elite academic university of the Big East.
>> Anonymous
>>314074
I went to Temple...it's a good school, and a great school in my major, but let's not go comparing it to MIT now.
>> Anonymous
>>314080

Temple is a piece of shit compared to other big east schools such as Syracuse, Rutgers, or UConn.
