Not the guy who posted the summery. But I'll answer anyway. There's four seasons out right now.
Season 1 deals with the end of his father's Pro career, with the unlikely switch from an injured mediocre pitcher to a hitting phenom. Shades of the Legend of Rick Ankiel, then father dies after getting hit in a pitch in the head by a Roger Clemens clone who is named "Joe Gibson." The Story then switches to his son "Honda Goro", and follows his little league career.
2nd season skips a few years and we follow Goro's last year in middle school, and then trying to enter a baseball powerhouse school.
3rd season has Goro leaving said school to enter a school that literally has no baseball program, and literally only 9 whole boys at the school. Somehow Goro convinces these same young men, who never played baseball ever to enter the summer tournament to play against his own team.
4th season has Goro deciding that Japanese baseball is boring as fuck and deciding to skip the NPB all together, and jump to the MLB. First deciding to attend spring training with the 'Anaheim Salmons' and then joining the "Indiana Hornets" organization. Somehow Goro is able to skip Rookie ball, Low A, High A, Double A, and start all the way at Triple A despite being 18 at the time. And only able to throw a fastball. He also plays against the son of Roger Clemens who is an blonde blue eye asshole who hates the Japanese.
season 5 is about the FUCKING WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC, which starts airing next Jan.
The 2nd half of season 5, or season 6 if they stretch the FUCKING WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC arc to a full 26 eps will finally have Goro start pitching the major leauges. He'd be 19/20 by then, age wise. http://minorjanai.info/ That's the group translating it.
