Hi. OP here.

I'm not convinced they'll miss the playoffs, but I'll bet you $9,000,000,000 that they don't make it past the first round.

We're Houston. It's what we do.

FUCK YOU AT LEAST THE ROCKETS HAVE WON A FUCKING CHAMPIONSHIP

Yeah, in 1993 and 1994.

These were also the first two years after Michael Jordan's (first) retirement. Don't think we aren't constantly reminded of this.

I'm a T-Wolves fan.

YOU KNOW HOW BAD THAT SUCKS!?!

OP... fuck you. There's shifts looking to pick up Mike Miller and a brief whisper that they were dumb enough to peek into that team destroyer Ron Artest. If we pick up Mike Miller I'm looking to the second round. Also, so long as the club stays healthy, they'll be golden, the offense is clicking and McGrady stopped being a giant vag.

Last year was the year to make it past the first round for the Rockets.

Now I see a very terrifying trend toward becoming the Knicks. Franchise, Alston, James, Head, Brooks. We got the PG requirement, but at least we aren't ALL pgs

shouldn't you weeaboos love the rockets because they got the big chingy chong chinaman?

Still a fan after the Garnett trade?

And why haven't people boycotted the games until they get rid of McHale? He completely fucked that team over and wasted Garnett's career.

I'm pissed about bringing in Bobby Jackson for Wells and James. Wells was doing great for us and has a habit of ripping teams new assholes when he's on and running. James hasn't seen the floor for a while, but still... Bobby Jackson? Why not move Snyder and James and draft picks for Mike Miller? It was within our capability.

I do realize, as you might not, that Les Alexander is fucking asshole. He's there to make money, not win championships, and his tendency to be more like the owner of the Knicks or the Clippers is wholly accurate.

I've supported that team since 1990, but Yao is fucking soft, and T-Mac should've gone to college. I've been let down too many times; if you had ever been an Oilers fan you'd know what I'm talking about.

I'd be pissed too if I lost to the Timberwolves

Yao's not soft, he's just not a total banger. it's not like he's supposed to play like Jason Maxiell.

the man is averaging 22 and 11, and 2 blocks aa game. seriously, you can't ask for much more.

So who's got a better chance of making it past the first round of the playoffs Rockets or Hawks?
>> Anonymous
>>9373
After bringing in a consistent back up point guard and an athletic swingman with great potential extras (That Haluska kid and Green's upside is still developing), I think they'll both progress past the first round, Rockets more likely having been there before and having competition they're closer to. If the Hawks come in low they'll get steamrolled.

Also, for the Yao comments, he's not a banger, he's a gentle shooter and finesse giant, that turns him "soft"? He's amazing for his size and can outright dominate most opposing centers by altering shots, blocking them outright, and scoring in bunches on them.
