So I need some fantasy football advice.

My #1 RB is Westbrook, but I don't know who to put in this week for #2. I have Tim Hightower, Justin Fargas and Kevin Smith. Deuce McAllister is my normal #2, but Saints have a bye, and he'll probably be suspended.

Also, sit or start Reggie Wayne this week? Past 2 weeks he's had less than 30 yards, no TDs, and he's apparently injured this week.

Help plox?

I'm tied for first in my league at 6-2, and today's matchup happens to be against the other guy who's 6-2. So if I win, I go back to being league leader.

MATT FORTE ,the bears playing detroit = over 9000 yards.

I helped you on /b/ but it 404ed right after my reply.

Fargas is projected to have an OK day because McFadden is doubtful.

I'd go Fargas.

Fargas. McFadden's out with a toe injury, and Atlanta got taken apart by Westbrook last week. Fargas should get plenty of touches.

Reggie Wayne? Depends on what your other options are, but I'd lean toward sitting him.

Also, if a team with McAllister as the #2 back is good enough to be tied for first in your league, you should notify me before your draft next year. I can always use some extra income in December.

Thanks. Going with Fargas as #2. Until Hightower starts getting more than 10 yards + 1 TD a week, he can ride the bench.

As for Reggie Wayne, here's my WR situation - this week (as of right now) I'm starting him, Steve Breaston and Donnie Avery. Hines Ward and Wes Welker are on my bench.

Breaston's been pretty good each week, even with Boldin back, and Avery is pretty much the go-to guy in St. Louis now, and now that they don't suck as much, he's looking good.

Welker is still a great receiver, but I'm not in a PPR league, and the 5-7 yardage points he gets me each week isn't quite enough.

Ward is usually great, but he's had a few recent shit weeks. With Holmes out, defenses are focusing on him more.

Might Anonymous help me out as well? I've got two W/R spots for Ryan Grant, Wes Welker, Kevin Curtis and Leon Washington. Who to start? Or should I put another TE on the W/T spot - Owen Daniels and put Matt Jones in one W/R?

Go with Grant and Curtis. If he's available in your league, pick up Fasano for a TE spot this week.

Fasano's already taken, I'm afraid, but I've got Tony Gonzalez for TE. Thanks for the advice!

I'm pretty much screwed.

I'd put in Welker...

I wouldn't be surprised if he sneaked in a TD this game to go along with his guaranteed 50-70 yards.

Why are you carrying 3 qb's? There's gotta be some garbage point players you can pick up. This season has been wide open with junk points, get to scouring the FA's.

The original idea was to play Palmer/Hasselbeck one in the OP slot. now both are hurt. waiting for one or both to be IR'd

Ok, can't judge that mistake you made off the bat, hehe. Bottom line, drop Hasselbeck NOW. Go week by week picking up WR's and TE's that will score in their match up. There are a minimum of 5 good players to pick up off FA every week in every league. You just have to be the one to snag them. This is coming from someone that's won his league twice in the last 5 years and the other 3 barely lost the championship game.

I've been at scrapheap pick ups since week 2 and I'm still tied for 2nd. I had to grab Pennington and Fasano for hope of the tandem points this week. If those two don't pay off, I'm screwed but I'm pretty damn sure those two will win my week for me.

There is nothing available. there are zero QB's that will play today.

Start Matt Cassel or Matt Ryan?
