can anyone tell me how they calculate winners in cross country races? is it just the best member or is it some sort of team effort?

first person to cross the finish line is 1st.
second person to cross the finish line is 2nd.
and so on.

They do give out medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd (and depending on the events bronzes for 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th place)

But for team scoring they give out points per places kinda like Guts but for the top 10-15 places. So like 1st place might get 15 points, 2nd gets 12, 3rd gets 10, 4th gets 8 and so on. The team with the most points wins.

Alot of the time it isn't the team with the fastest runner that wins but the team that can push one another and pack together to score fairly highly in bunches.

I'll take a team who can take 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th place over a team with a great #1 guy and then no one else who can come in with a top 5 finish.

Also a a great time is 15 mins and lower
