Halp /sp/. Have to put together power rankings for the local paper. Aside from assuming a Dallas win over Philly tonight, where did I fuck up:

1. Dallas
2. NY Giants
3. Buffalo
4. Denver
5. Pittsburgh
6. Green Bay
7. Philly
8. Tennessee
9. Carolina
10. NE
11. Baltimore
12. Arizona
13. Washington
Comment too long. Clickhereto view the full text.

I'd move Detroit up, even though they are lol bad, they aren't as bad as the Rams or Chiefs.
>> Anonymous
>22. San Francisco

Are you fucking retarded?
>> Anonymous
>where did I fuck up:

pretty much everywhere
>> Anonymous
>local paper.
Soooo, Dallas morning news?
>> Anonymous
>>339551
seconded.

after really looking through this list i realized how fucking stupid you are. fuck you and your paper.
>> Anonymous
Denver at #4 is too high. And I'm a Broncofag.
>> Anonymous
OP here, San Francisco area paper, glad to move them up, but didn't want to be a homer.

Losing to the cardinals and barely squeezing out an OT win vs. the 10th string Seattle receivers had me worried.
>> Anonymous
>>339586
>>339548
I knew it faggot. No wonder you have the Raiders lower than 0-2 teams.
>> Anonymous
I don't think Dallas should be first. It should be the Giants. Dallas only played one game so far and it was against the Browns. Also, Green Bay should be higher than Pittsburgh.
>> Anonymous
Pittsburgh should be third, they have played very well so far (they will collapse soon enough).

St. Louis should be the worst team, they have given up like 75 points.

San Diego should be higher, they are 0-2 but could have won both games.

Green Bay is playing great and could go higher.
>> Anonymous
>>339600

Good call, Anon. Moving Oakland, SF up, Denver down. Any other glaring mistakes?
>> Anonymous
Raiders blow and will always blow by definition.
>> Anonymous
Detroit shouldn't be last, it should be St. Louis. That team has looked the worst.
>> Anonymous
>>339537
New England should be at the fucking bottom due to being the worst franchise ever.

listen to this man

also lol there is no way buffalo is the 3rd best team in the league
>> Anonymous
>>339603

Sorry, Anon. I'm assuming a Dallas win, since it will run in the morning. Figure beating Philly would be a pretty significant win, but I'm writing my contingency for a Philly win as we speak as well.

Hard to move Green Bay up much higher, I'll drop Denver below them and Pitt though.

Keep it coming, guys. /sp/ loves to rip apart Power Rankings, I know you do.
>> Anonymous
Minnesota should be in the top 15 AT LEAST.

jesus christ, OP. you are retarded.
>> Anonymous
>>339616
>HURRRR
>> Anonymous
>>339622

Isn't MINN 0-2? Am I missing something?
>> Anonymous
carolina's a little high
>> Sneak !!+y8MDiWrdyT
Indy should move up a couple spots. Washington and Baltimore are too high.
>> Anonymous
>>339632

I have the Cardiac Cats as the 3rd worst 2-0 team (lol cardinals/NE). Hop them with Indy c/d?

Sneak: I missed Baltimore's only game, and I thought Indy looked poor, but respect their track record. Anyone know when they turn on the V-TEC and start playing like a playoff team?
>> Anonymous
>>339634
>14. Chicago
>17. Indianpolis

What do you have against Chicago?
>> Anonymous
Oakland should be no lower than 22.
>> Anonymous
>>339649
When they don't have 4 starting OL out...and their to two top TEs...and 3DTs out (or released)...and Bob Sanders is hurt...again...*sigh*
>> Anonymous
As a Giantsfag I am surprised no one argued their number two spot.

We didn't beat anyone worth remembering. Granted we are currently tied for fewest points allowed, but it was 7 Systems Campbell and the Friggin Rams we pulled that against.
>> Anonymous
>>339622
DETROIT SHOULD BE #1

THEY ARE GOING TO GO 17-2 YEEEEEAH
>> Anonymous
>>339685

Seems like I might be hearing Pittsburgh as /sp/'s #1-2 by default. I was left unimpressed by their showing in /cle/ but I'm okay with dropping the G-men a spot based on weak opponents.
>> Anonymous
Protip: Putting Shittsburg at >1. on anything will get you reported for trolling.
>> Anonymous
>>339709

Agreed

Just look at CB, he's one of our most successful trolls for this reason
>> Anonymous
>>339701
Ben played with a dislocated shoulder, the weather was god awful and the browns are supposed to be good right? right? lol

>>339709
Protip: HURRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Also giants deserve to be in the top 3, 2-0 and reigning champs should get you decent credit
>> Anonymous
I like Buffalo a lot, but holy shit, how can you possibly rank them higher than GB? Green Bay, through the first two weeks, has proven to be top 3 without a doubt.
>> Anonymous
Carolina should be top five... if not top 3.

Giants should be much lower.
>> Anonymous
>>339734
Green Bay had the Lions come back on them. They're top 10, but not top 3.
>> Anonymous
>>339734
Playing Detroit makes anyone look like a top 3 team.... see Atlanta week 1
>> Anonymous
>>339736

Carolina had to pull two wins against lower ranked teams out of their ass in the final seconds.

>>339734

I'm just waiting for Buffalo to fuck up, and they really haven't. Granted, now that I look at it, #3 is a little extreme...
>> Anonymous
>>339782
>lower ranked teams
They're only lower ranked BECAUSE THE PANTHERS BEAT THEM

Holy shit,. are you retarded?
>> Anonymous
>31. Kansas City

That's one spot too high.

We fucking suuuuuuuucccccckkkkk.
>> Anonymous
Greenbay 4 Denver 5 Pitts 6.
>> Anonymous
>>339740
they came back, but still won by 23 fucking points. Aaron Rodgers has looked amazing.

I think you can safely say that the three best teams in the NFC are in Green Bay, Dallas, and New York. Arizona is growing on me, but they're still the Cardinals for fuck's sake. If the Iggles win tonight I'll rethink them in the conversation of best in the East. Carolina I think is 5th in the NFC. They look very very impressive so far, even without Steve Smith.

As far as the AFC goes, I think you have to put Buffalo and Pittsburgh right at the top. Patriots after that only because they have barely escaped against two cupcake teams and the Broncos should be 1-1 so I have to knock them down a little bit.
>> UZ !kHzD4It5Tc
>>339782
EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE KICKING ASS THIS YEAR WE MUST CONSIDER THEY USED TO SUCK, eh?
>> Anonymous
You have Denver and Buffalo ahead of Pittsburgh????

Are you writing this power ranking for a European newspaper?
>> Anonymous
>>339603
Wtf? Not calling Dallas a winner, but the Giants have so far faced the Rams and Redskins. If Dallas beats the Eagles, Dallas has beat better teams the 1st two weeks.
>> Anonymous
>>339944

Thanks, Anon. Good insight.

Thread Summary: Aside from 'lol r u retarded', the glaring mistakes from the original list are:

Buffalo too high, Indy too low, Raiders too low, Niners too low, and no one knows what the fuck to do with Carolina.
>> Anonymous
Yeah I'm a Broncofag, but I would drop Denver, put GB at 4, Pitt at 5, Buffalo 6. Denver 7.

We should not have won that game yesterday. Saved by a shit call.

Our defense is such a horrible joke. It's gonna be a long season.
>> Anonymous
Switch Carolina and NE, Baltimore and Indy and you've pretty much got it right.
>> Anonymous
>>339954

Got it. I overvalued Denver's wins hard (grats you beat the raiders, and 'beat' the chargers). Pitt is a solid top 3 pick for sure.
>> Anonymous
>>339960
Broncofag here.

>Our defense is such a horrible joke.
I don't think so. The Chargers have a ridiculous offense when they get going, and they got it going yesterday. We managed to make some important stops early, and overall, I think our defense is above average.
>> Anonymous
>>339978
(Though I agree with your rankings, and Denver's place on them.)
>> Anonymous
>>339961
Nice try coltsfag
>> Anonymous
Billsfag here, put them down a bit, not top 5 yet, you won't know much about this team until 8 games in or so. They play the Raiders, Ram, and Cardinals the next 3 weeks and if they win those games it just means they win games they should and if they lose those games it means they play down to their competition. You're gonna have to see how they play San Diego at home over a month from now to see how truly good they are.
>> Anonymous
In his defense, we know virtually nothing about the Ravens, other than they would have probably been 2-0 had they faced Houston this week as scheduled.

However, we DO know Indy had my vote for ugliest win in regulation this week.
>> Anonymous
No Arizona rage surprises this anon. Not shocked you're getting no respect, Birdfags?

(PS THAT. BIRD. is not a meme)

>>340015
Week 5 Buffalo vs. Arizona suddenly looks like a good game.

That's surprising.
>> Anonymous
The Chiefs got DESTROYED by the fucking Raiders. At least the Lions almost came back against the Packers.

You also spelled Cincinnati wrong.

Fucking cowboys better win, or my list goes to shit...

Dallas are going 1-1 sorry fail ranking
>> Anonymous
What the fuck? Buffalo number 3?????
BILLS ARE FUCKING NUMBER 1
LETS GO BUFFALO
>> Anonymous
The Cards should be in the top 10. DEFINITELY should be higher than New England.
>> Anonymous
I'm a Patsfag, and I think Indy should be ahead of NE, and NE should be a little lower overall.
>> Anonymous
>>340548
Indy has looked like shit the past two games
>> Anonymous
Their entire o-line is injured. But they still have Manning, and that's pretty good to have.
>> Anonymous
>>340554

But they have Peyton Manning, and so as long as the defense keeps it close, they're in the game.

You can hardly say the same for Matt Cassel, though I have to say he's looked solid the first two games. Nothing amazing, but he's avoided big mistakes that would seriously hurt the team.

they score 41 on the eagles?

that scares me.
