1st Round
Lakers/Nuggets (4-0): Lol, Nuggets. I'm not sure they're aware yet that they completely fluked into the playoffs.
Jazz/Rockets (3-4): Don't forget the Rockets have homecourt advantage, and Utah can't win shit away from home. Rafer missing the first two games will be slightly problematic, but I've factored that in.
Spurs/Suns (4-3): When it gets to the playoffs, comparing the Spurs' play to regular season is like night and day. The reigning champs will pull it off.
Hornets/Mavericks (4-2): Mavs had a lucky game yesterday, I don't expect the Hornets to be playing asleep for the playoffs. Also Jason Kidd's age makes him completely unstable and since the team's success hinges on him now, ChildPorn3 will destroy them.
Conference Semis
Lakers/Rockets (4-3): If Yao was healthy, the Rockets would dominate this matchup easily. The predominately young Laker team wouldn't hold up; but Yao's out, so Kobe and Gasol should be enough to do the job.
Spurs/Hornets (4-2): Spurs easily. Pitting the most playoff experienced team in the league right now to the least? This is the playoffs, the Hornets' record in the regular season against the Spurs means nothing now.
Conference Finals
Spurs/Lakers(4-3): Spurs have too much experience, skill and depth. Especially depth. Most everyone who's not in the Lakers' starting 5 is young and inexperienced. The Spurs should clinch this easy.
