This is just your monthly reminder that all Arizona teams suck.

But hey, at least you don't live in New Mexico.

I love the Suns AND live in New Mexico...

BUT HEY we might be getting a WNBA team!!!

At least you got the Isotopes!

Oh wait, you didn't get the Isotopes, either!

Psssh, screw the Isotopes, it was ALL ABOUT The Dukes!!!

I don't believe it.

Where could you have possibly read that? WNBA.com?

Answer carefully.

I heard it on 94 Rock while I was driving to work a few days ago, must have either been Friday or Monday. They were doing the sports run down for the night before and then at the very end then mentioned it, they said Who gives a shit! and went to commercials.

So, how long until Red Machine D shows up and starts BAWWWing?
>> Anonymous
>>81987
Probably wait until he thinks we've all forgotten. Cuz he's been so fucking WRONG for like a week.
>> thenormalyears !!CsF0PNKYVw4
I think the diamondbacks have the best record in baseball. I hope they start sucking soon however.

They will.

he abandoned the team like the rest of the bandwagoners and jumped on the SA bandwagon.

I predict a massive rebuilding of the Suns roster now. It'll be hard to justify paying Shaq a huge salary without a good coach, when they couldn't get out of the first round with him.

hmmmmmmm 37-year-old shaq costing $20 mil a season

have fun with that, phoenixfags

<-- all i know about arizona is they have these
>> Red Machine D !h1LZxECEVA

I was right though, wasn't I?

Also, OP is right. Outside of the Diamondbacks, there's not a single pro team in this state that's worth the price of admission.
>> Anonymous

worst team in pro sports history
>> Red Machine D !h1LZxECEVA
>>82093

Truth. I'll still support them. Just won't buy their gear or attend their games until someone takes them away from the Bidwills.
>> Anonymous

>>82095
Do yourself a favor...put a bomb in Bidwill's car. It's the only way.
>> Red Machine D !h1LZxECEVA
>>82098

Then his sons inherit the franchise, and they're just as horrible as their father. The franchise needs to be taken completely out of the Bidwill family.
>> Anonymous
>>82100
Good point...you are going to have to kill them too.
>> Anonymous
God I really hope this isn't the end of the Suns.
>> Anonymous
i could be wrong, but the d-backs have the best record in baseball, also the youngest team in baseball. The rattler's are also a good team, yeah we have some shitty teams, but what state doesn't.

>Outside of the Diamondbacks,

Jesus fucking Christ, he's ALREADY jumping on the next bandwagon!!! And in August when they're still hovering near 500, he'll jump off that bandwagon too, and start posting about how the Cardinals have FINALLY turned it around...

No, no "except." All Arizona teams suck. Period. You're in a conservative state, and all the owners want to make money, and don't give a shit about winning games. Say it. Say they all suck. Admitting it is the first step.

As the only non-Arizonafag to give the Diamondbacks a shot this year, I have to believe that they're going to finish welllll above .500.

Now the Cards on the other hand...
>> Anonymous
>>83397
I'm not really sure how you figure that. The NL West champ was a 500 team the last couple years, then suddenly in 2007 the Rockies come out of NOWHERE to make the playoffs... and if you think that's happening again, you've never followed baseball a day in your life.

A Clue: If you're any good, a team that's not AZ fucking buys you. Except for Randy Moss, who's like 108 years old.
>> Anonymous
>>83400
>Except for Randy Moss,

No, wait, I meant Randy Johnson, didn't I? Being a D-Bag is contagious, you know.
>> Red Machine D !h1LZxECEVA

The following would like to have a word with you:

Brandon Webb, Dan Haren, Micah Owings, Justin Upton, Conor Jackson, Brandon Lyon, Max Scherzer.
>> Anonymous

>>83407
I don't know who any of those people are...
>> Alakazam !!OEP6m59Bksc
>>83400

With Brandon Webb and Dan Haren, the best 1-2 in baseball right now AT THIS MOMENT, the D-Backs will cruise to a 95-100 win season, have no trouble with the playoffs thanks to their amazing pitching staff, and will probably win the fucking World Series unless Detroit, Cleveland, New York, or Boston start playing like they should be.
>> Anonymous
>>83412
That's just adorable.

I actually didn't know that HAD homers in Arizona, but you might be the first. Enjoy your crushingly disappointing season!!
>> Alakazam !!OEP6m59Bksc
>>83414

What? I don't understand half of your post, and you seem to assume that I'm an Arizona fan (far from it).
>> Red Machine D !h1LZxECEVA
>>83412

Not to mention Micah Owings who is without a doubt the best-hitting pitcher in baseball, as well as Max Scherzer who just got called up and has already shown what he can do. That's just the fucking pitching staff. Also, out of those AL teams you mentioned, only Boston could compete with the Diamondbacks. Cleveland and Detroit would get stomped, and we've already dealt with the Yankees.

>>83414

Someone sounds jealous.
>> Red Machine D !h1LZxECEVA
>>83419

I think he's confusing you for me. You're the Cleveland fag, I'm the Arizona fag.
>> Alakazam !!OEP6m59Bksc
>>83421

Yeah, exactly. I just recognize (and recognized before the season started) how good the Diamondbacks are.

I still think the Indians could beat them, but like I said, only if CC and Fausto start pitching better and our offense hits 5+ runs consistently instead of having random spurts of 10+ runs and then no runs the next 3 games.
>> Red Machine D !h1LZxECEVA
>>83422

I believe in Fausto. He's going to be a good, consistent pitcher all season if he can stay healthy. CC, on the other hand... he'd better throw about five consecutive no-hitters if he wants to make up for that abortion of a start.
>> Alakazam !!OEP6m59Bksc
>>83426

Agreed. The Indians are a mess right now but I think they'll bounce back, we've had so many situations where we've looked like World Series contenders, but they come at the most random times. Like today - Cliff Lee pitched 27 consecutive scoreless innings, then gave up a three run home run. They can't let that kind of shit happen if they want to contend this year.
>> Red Machine D !h1LZxECEVA
>>83435

Well they're making the playoffs regardless. Nobody else in the AL Central can contend with them down the stretch. The issue is who they're facing in the playoffs, especially in that first round matchup. If they take the division they're going to be in a much worse situation than if they take the wild card. If they end up taking the division they'll probably get stuck with the Red Sox in the DS, while a wild card would get them (maybe) Oakland. I don't know about you, but I'd rather face Oakland.
>> Alakazam !!OEP6m59Bksc
>>83439

Would it really matter? We'd need to take the Red Sox on eventually anyway, because there's no way they're losing the ALDS.

At the moment the entire AL is ridiculous and it's impossible to even fathom what could happen from now to the end of the season, so talking about first round matchups is kind of silly anyway - for all I know we might be playing the Devil Rays in the first round.
>> Red Machine D !h1LZxECEVA
>>83441

I for one would love to see the Rays in the playoffs.
>> Alakazam !!OEP6m59Bksc
>>83448

I would too actually, especially if they made the playoffs and the Yankees didn't.
>> PhilKenSebben !KHc9Lz/HZU
Speaking if New Mexico, the Albuquerque Atoms are a cool team in a nice ballpark.
>> Red Machine D !h1LZxECEVA
>>83450

I have a feeling that they won't. The AL East is just too strong this year, and they don't have enough good pitching to fall back on. Baltimore and Tampa are going to be all over NYY all summer long.
