Help me eurofags, I don't understand this video. He just rolls the ball and hits him in the leg. It's obviously a big offense but what did he do and what did he get for it.

Fuck I'm sick of India, why can't they just cut out the childish bullshit and start playing cricket.

Did he get points for bouncing it off his leg or something?

No, when the batsmen stops the ball like that and the bowler picks it up he would normally turn around and walks back to his crease to bowl again.

Sreesanth is just a dick and wanted to provoke the batsmen.

Oh I thought that maybe it counted as points even though he didn't throw it from his regular spot.

We don't have football in /cle/. Sorry I can't help you.

In this clip the ball is considered 'dead' because ther batsmen played his shot and didn't make an attempt to score from it.

Even if Sreesanth threw the ball and hit the wicket it still wouldn't make a difference.

I don't understand the title of the video then, is it just some crazy who hates Sreesanth or what?

The game was between India and Pakistan, even a relatively little thing like this can be blown up into something big.

Because they can't hack the fact that even though they've a hundred times the money invested in the game and have far more worldwide influence over the game's direction, their team is still inferior to Australia's.

The Australians love winding Sreesanth up. He's the biggest hothead in the game.

Press his buttons and you've put a hole in their bowling strategy, whatever it is.

Please explain what was going on here. How would it benefit the player to roll the ball in such a faggy way?
>> Anonymous

It was the last ball of the game, and obviously the batting side needed 6 or less runs off it to win/tie the game. If they get no runs Australia wins. That kind of throw gives the batsman no chance to score anything. It's a pussy move which only serves to secure a victory without honor.

oh okay, now that makes sense.

It's still one of the most talked about incidents in Australian sport. It got a bigger reaction in Australia than it did in NZ if you can believe that.
