I think if Eduardo gets back to the form he was before getting LEG BREAK, he could be a good captain.

You spelled Barcelona wrong.
>> Anonymous
Cesc will never leave Arsenal. He loves it there. Plus he is butt buddies with Ashley Cole, and they both have agreed to stay in London.
>> Anonymous
>>487579

thats adebayor. Or any other old/crap/traitor (delete as appropriate) player.

Jermaine of Jermaine Jenas.

The rats are already leaving the sinking ship

FUCK YEAH, FABREGAS
>> Anonymous
This captaincy is purely to keep Fabregas on the team, Wenger must buy new and good players to play with him so that the team can start wining, fuck off silvester, gallas, song and bendtner, they are crap!

>>487626
hmmmm....i smell a strong potential for lulzy shoops of cesc.../sp/artans?
>> Anonymous
>>487622

Silvestre has been okay imo. Bendtner can become a very good striker but not just yet.
With Gallas we are less likely to conceed but without him we are more likely to win (odd).
Song needs more experience.
>> Anonymous
cesc has been shooped for years dude
>> Anonymous
>>487637
Leave Gallas out of the squad and recall Senderos from A.C. Milan, he never should have left in the first place.
>> Anonymous
>>487637

Bendtner is shit, accept it.
>> Anonymous
I don't mind Soccer (Football) on /sp/ but /b/?

Fuck off.
>> Anonymous
I RRRRRAGED.

First off, Silvestre never should've been bought.
Second, we still need a secondary right winger as cover for Walcott. Eboue will not do.
Third, We need cover for Rosicky. Nasri is best deployed in centre mid or attacking mid.

Second and Third points can be solved by purchasing PSV forward, Nordin Amrabat.
>> Anonymous
>>487679

Nasri doesn't like playing in the centre, he's too much of a faggot, and Van Persie can play on the right. Sorted, you'll win the league now.
>> Anonymous
can someone tell me why adebayor is not playing and we have to stick with bendtner who cant do shit, i would prefer carlos vela, at least he looks like doing something

Enjoy your emo faggot captain leading you to Uefa Cup football next season.

lol 5th
>> Anonymous
>>487679

No, Podolski. He put in a transfer request.

And Adebayor is injured
>> Anonymous
we just need a proper holder in the middle

and better centerbacks

obviously no boeing 707 silvestre and gallas
>> Anonymous
we obviously need a right winger and a Flamini type player, Denilson is rushed to this position but he is more like Fabregas
>> Anonymous
>>487690
Watch, when Rosicky is fit and playing regularly
lol
, watch Nasri go into the center with Fabregas.

Central is his preferred position, by the way. He's just never played there for Arsenal.
>> Anonymous
>>488321

I would fucking love to see an Arsenal central midfield of Nasri and Fabregas. The days of Vieira and Petit seem like centuries ago now.

>>488321

There's a quote from Nasri a few weeks ago now saying he prefers to be a peripheral player or something like that which to my mind is akin to playing on the wing. Maybe not.
>> Anonymous
>>488460

>I would fucking love to see an Arsenal central midfield of Nasri and Fabregas

I meant because it would be hilariously shit, incidentally.
>> Anonymous
>>488468
Rossa on the left, Nasri and Fabs in the center of the park... shit?

Good joke.
>> Anonymous
Wenger should bring in Sébastien Frey, Yaya Touré and Matthew Upson
>>
>>488460
they'd need yaya or someone similar to add some bulk, and play ade solo up front; a midfield duo of fabregas and nasri without protection would get run over by every midfield duo in the premier league. it probably means RvP's gonna get sold sooner rather than later if that's the case, because he can't play solo up there and he hates playing out wide. enjoy ur uefa cup u guise
>> Anonymous
>>488616
I think you've been playing too much Football Manager.
>> Anonymous
>>488489
not the nigga you replied to, but i agree with him. niether cesc or nasri can defend, enjoy being raped on the counter through the middle
>> Anonymous
>>488652

Yeah i've become addicted to FM09 =p

but still, those 3 are realistic targets....
>> Anonymous
Bischoff anyone?
>> Anonymous
     File :-(, x)
side note - how much do these kits suck?

I'm not even a gooner, but I raged.
>> Anonymous
>>488854
I do like this year home kit but the away one just sucks so hard. The last year kit is the best IMO.
>> Anonymous
I could see toure being moved to defensive midfield duties one day. I think he could perform pretty well up there.
>> Anonymous
>>489653

That would just create another problem in central defence, but I think he could do a job there.
>> Anonymous
>>488827

Mikael Bischoff?

He seemed a decent player when he was on loan at Wolves a few seasons back, until he broke his shoulder.

>>487740

Haha
>> Anonymous
>>489661
Not really. Gallas and Djourou is still a solid central defense with Silvestre as cover. Touré hasn't been playing regularly at all (mainly due to injuries though). Wasn't his last few games out on the right because Sagna was injured?
>> Anonymous
>>488854
Not a Gooner but that a decent kit, their away isn't too up to it, but it's better than Chelsea, Liverpool and Wigan 2nd and 3rd strips.
>> Anonymous
I like the away kit.
>> Anonymous
yeah, push kolo up a bit. i'd trust him more there than giving away penalties at the back. he likes to push forward anyway.
>> Anonymous
>>489672

Still no Vidic/Terry type hard as nails centre-back, which means you'll continue to get run over by big strikers. At least Kolo has a bit of steel about him.
>> Anonymous
>>489759
Man U couldn't break it down, and they tried about 210 times. I can't think of many teams with an attack force that strong.

I don't think the problem is who we use, but how they perform. They're usually too busy going forward and not holding their position (Toure is a big offender of this), so when we get him on the counter we're fucked.

That's why I think Toure should take up DM duties. Right now anyone is better there than Denilson/Song.
>> Anonymous
>>489759

Kolo's steel is due to his HUUUGE arse.

Puts the Arse in Arsenal.
>> Anonymous
>>489781

thats because man utds strikers are girls who prefer to run around people rather then plough through them
>> Anonymous
lol at Wenger when Barca buy Cesc back
>> Anonymous
>>489849
lol

The point still stands, regardless.
>> Anonymous
>>489781
i thought about kolo playing in the holding position as well, but le frenchman says kolo doesn't have the stamina to play in that position and refuses to use him there
