What's new in gymnastic? Anonymous
When will they give the gold medal to US because of cheating?
>> Anonymous
If they do that the whole china gymnastics team will lose their arms. DO YOU WANT THAT TO HAPPEN TO SOME 14 YEAR OLDS?!?!?!!?!?

A lack of arms means less resistance.

and china loses gold medals again because of unfair advantage.

So. . . 14 and 15 year old girls aren't allowed to compete, but there's no rule against training them for several hours every day. I don't know, I kind of think they deserve the chance to compete, given all the shit they go through.

Or they could just make up some rule preventing the excessive training or professional competition of anyone under 18... But then how would we tell which country is better if we can't turn our young girls into muscular back flipping little monkies?
>> Anonymous
>>259547
Maybe you don't realize, but you're representing your entire country. Some people are so competitive that if they lose they might just snap. Asking a 14 or 15 year old to represent their country in something that they absolutely dominate in is just too much, especially if they would lose.
>> Anonymous
>>259547
The thing is other countries weren't allowed to use their younger more agile girls to give the Chinese a run for their money

Never because your chicks fall off the balance beams.

lol fuck off america and get over it, even if you get one medal its not going to help.

btw where is your niggers now? tyson gay failed like the gayass he is in track and field.
>> Anonymous
These girls were snatched out of their homes at 2 years old and thrown into a training camp. The medal is all they've got. ;_;

I think our niggers are too busy owning basketball right now.

The IOC is a ball-less organization. They're not going to say shit to China.
>> Anonymous
Could you imagine if the US tried something like that? It would be a shitstorm. Fucking ball-less IOC
>> Anonymous
>>260273
Um, the Chinese did too....
>> The Judge
>>260535
It'll pretty much take some sort of ninja getting undisputed proof (like, definite birth certificates, confessions, undoctored hospital records, and a video of the child being born) distributed to the media. Then the IOC might be forced to act. But they sure as hell aren't gonna look into it themselves.
>> Anonymous
>>260298
lol its called a joke

I for one am waiting for the facts to reach the surface. All I've heard so far are purely speculations done by the western media. Maybe not even then will I believe it, I've been burned before (WMDs in Iraq etc). Everyone mentions that the girls are so small and must be underage. But they are Chinese goddammit. And seeing the difference between a 14yo and a 16yo girl isn't that easy either, especially if they are different races. And that stupid milk teeth-thing? Not good enough.

It hasn't been all speculation; people found articles on websites that stated different ages for 2 of the gymnasts, but the articles were subsequently taken down or some shit. Those discoveries were leading up to the Olympics, too.

There wouldn't be controversy if their ages weren't put into question even before the competition. Everybody would just talk about how young they looked because all of the gymnasts look young.

But I don't really care anymore. I think it has become an annoying issue.

There were also online gymnastic registrars from past competitions they had competed in that listed their birthdates as 1994.

>>260596
Yes, I've heard about that. But I've never seen it myself. That's why I choose to call it speculations for now. Are IOC too scared to investigate further/go forth with the evidence? I don't know.

Yes, the IOC are a bunch of Chinese cocksuckers and will do everything they can not to look like a bunch of fools for choosing Beijing, even though there was so much protest. Even in the face of underage gymnasts, a lip-syncing opening ceremony, and the arrest of the British journalist for covering a protest.
>> Anonymous

>lip-syncing opening ceremony
who cares about that, theres nothing wrong with lip syncing. a bit weird to do it in an opening ceremony, but w/e
>arrest of the British journalist for covering a protest.
well, protest are illegal in China if they are not scheduled (yep), and the protesters were arrested along with a journalist who was in the middle of it. people are arrested and "roughed up" for smaller reasons all over the world.
>underage gymnasts
if this turns out to be true, then it would be a disaster. the only disaster in the olympic so far though.

when all the world agrees that someone should NOT be stripped of a medal after a failed drug test, when every drug testing expert says that the failure was due to some OTC medication that gives no competitive advantage but happens to contain some chemical that triggers the drug test, and every other athlete, every observer understands and sees no problem...

IOC strips the medal. no review, no consultation with outside experts, just "we have a no tolerance policy LOL"

when there is a variety of evidence that these girls are underage, and anyone with eyes and a brain is incredulous that these girls can be 16, when there is controversy and media clamor over it...

IOC says "not our problem LOL"

IOC are greedy, amoral assholes who do what is easiest for themselves and care nothing for justice or the integrity of the competition.

and why do so many think that this is only a concern of USA nationalists who want gold for themselves? it's very important on its own, regardless of who took second.
>> Anonymous
>>260910
doping is a lot worse than underage in my eyes, good thing there is non tolerance. and where is this evidence you speak of, times wrote an article about it and they said that the girls may be underage. may.
>> Anonymous
I don't know if anyone's noticed this, but on average, most asian girls I know look younger than their actual age.

Anyways, I think China has PLENTY of talented 16 year old gymnasts. what makes you think they would decide "OH HEY LETS ALTER SOME BIRTH CERTIFICATES SO THESE 14 YEAR OLD GIRLS CAN ENTER INSTEAD. HURRCHONGNIPNONG"

This all seems ridiculous to me
>> Anonymous
>>261145
ummm because they're better than the 16 year olds?
>> Anonymous
I really don't think it matters. If your gymnists were good enough, then they should be able to beat someone a year or two younger than them. If your girls were good enough, they should be able to beat girls whose muscles aren't fully developed and haven't had as many years of practice. But let's face it - you're just not as good.

We have the 2 best female gymnasts in the world.
The others were goofy, or broken.
>> Anonymous
>>261145

In women's gymnastics, it's better to go with younger girls because puberty makes them grow hips and breasts which weighs them down and throws off their balance. The best gymnastic performances are usually performed by 12-14 year old girls, before puberty hits them too hard.
>> Anonymous
>>261555

Have you... ever looked at an Asian woman? 25-year-olds don't have hips or breasts....
>> Anonymous
>>261586
Not even true, have you looked at an Asian girl?

They've got boobs. Not knockers, not tits, but they still have boobs which doesn't help at all.

>>261505
Hey, let's have some NFL linebackers tackle the opposing gymnasts during the routine. Sure, it's unfair. Sure, it's against the rules. But if they were good enough, they'd be able to dodge while competing. They shouldn't get upset at us for their own lack of skill.

China cheats at anything they can. They'll even use holds in a boxing match, knowing full well the ref won't do jack shit about their rule infractions.
>> Anonymous
>>260541

Difference is it would be a _national_ shit storm. There would be 60 minutes reports about how kids are growing up too fast, or gymnastics is dangerous and stunting growth or whatever. Americans wouldn't allow 14 y/o to compete w/o some huge scandal.

In China no one seems to care. "Do your duty for your country", they say. "Make us proud!", they say.
