No he's right, all the NFL teams are named after states, except for the Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots, Denver Broncos, San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks, Oakland Raiders, St. Louis Rams, San Diego Chargers, Chicago Bears, Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions, Cincinnati Bengals, Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Atlanta Falcons, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Technically, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are named after a region.
