You know what made him great? He didn't try and score 50 points a game, he just fucking worked. Rodman was the hardest worker in the sport not named Jordan and that's a fact. Rodman should at least get a shot at the hall. Prove me wrong, bitches.

Vince Carter is/was a great player, but he's too much of a show off to go into that list. He just dunks beautifully, but he never was a nba key player

but this group is put together by the NBA and despite all his credentials you know the guys are saying to themselves "do we really want to have this guy hanging out with us and representing our brand?"

and OP why doesn't russell belong?

Needs more LBJ.

If you think that's Russell, get the fuck off /sp/.

I would replace Worthy with Dominique. I know that Worthy was the ultimate big game player, but statistically he doesn't belong on the list.

oh hello americans. no one outside of your country knows any basketball player other than michael jordan. so i pick him.

p.s. your sport is fucking stupid.

why not walton? he's arguably one of the top 10 centers of all time.

Yeah, Rodman needs to go in there.

The SI cover says it all. Arguably the greatest rebounder of the modern era, but not among the 50 greatest?
>> Anonymous
Rodman committed the ultimate sin of the modern era..He did not score points. Working your ass of on defense means nothing in todays Kobe Bryant game.

not of all time, not even for that long, just for one season.
>> Anonymous
I'd rather have a 20-10 7 footer who can actually block shots and defend big men over Dennis Rodman any day. Heck, i'd settle for less.
>> Anonymous
Rodman = Ben Wallace.
>> Anonymous
>>22679

Wallace never averaged 18 rebounds per game..2 years in a row.
>> Anonymous
>>22686
HOLY FUCK! Ok let me take that back. Rodman needs to get in. 18 rebounds has potential for 36 pts! Not including threes!
>> Anonymous
All that matters is shooting and scoring points. Just ask the '04 Pistons and the soon to be champs. the '08 Pistons. Rodman belongs in the top fiddy.
