Brendan Flaherty represents injured people and their families in car accident, foodborne illness, product liability and wrongful death litigation. Soon after joining Pritzker | Ruohonen, Brendan served on the trial team that achieved a $6,425,000 settlement for victims of a food poisoning outbreak. He has since had significant experience with food poisoning litigation and claims involving allergic reactions to mislabeled foods. With Fred Pritzker, he is now representing people injured in Yamaha Rhino rollover cases.
In addition to extensive trial experience, Brendan has successfully handled numerous appeals, including the published criminal decision of State v. Banken, 690 N.W.2d 367, (Minn. App. 2004). He handles the firms appellate practice and often works with other attorneys on their appeals.
Brendan graduated from Grinnell College and earned a law degree, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School. Prior to joining Pritzker, Ruohonen & Associates, Mr. Flaherty was an associate at the law firm of Campbell Knutson, P.A. where he specialized in civil litigation. Mr. Flaherty also spent two legislative sessions on staff at the Minnesota Senate where he drafted legislation and provided policy research for the Transportation, Environment & Natural Resources, Crime & Public Safety and Judiciary Committees.
