it is complete bullshit that the AL west only has 4 teams. besides the fact that the rangers and mariners wont do shit this year while the athletics are pretty much gonna penny-pinch their way out of contention, this will all lead to an all-too-easy division title for the angels. all the while the cubs are trying to take over a division of 6 fucking teams, the angels can coast for the rest of the season.

does mlb have any plans of evening shit out anytime soon, in the same way that every division is even in the NHL, NBA and NFL?

MLB is fucking retarded. They have 2 leagues with completely different rules. One of the leagues has 16 teams and the other has 14 teams.

16 teams NL, 14 teams AL. what would be so hard about making it 15 and 15? just put the dbacks in the AL or some shit, and have one or two interleague matchups each series.

NOT THAT FUCKING HARD MLB

I can't remember which team BAWWW'd over being asked to move to the AL and ended up fucking over the rest of the league. A team from the NL Central needs to be pushed to the AL West, then we'd be perfect.

AL > AAA > NL

Actually, we need two more expansion teams. The main reason the MLB won't even out the two leagues is that interleague play would have to occur the entire season, as one team from each league would be forced out of a game every day.

Find two markets that need teams, 32 teams, two leagues of 16, make it like the NFL with either four groups of four with no wild card or two set leagues with set amounts of playoff spots. Hell, you could just make it so the top 8 teams altogether make it in.

Dunno how many people remember this, but COMMISIONER Bud Selig was once the owner of the Brewers. So he moved the Brew-crew to the NL in hopes that they could compete better in a (back then) weaker NL Central division. Too bad his daughter, now owner can't get an elite team or even a big-name manager to get this franchise to the playoffs. They'd have been better served to stay in the AL.

and whats wrong with that? i dont understand what is the big deal about interleague play. every other sport has inter-conference play, it aint a big deal.
