Hello /sp/, Tampafag here

I have a fun quote for you then a question

"In the immediate future we'll be thought of as losers, But one day down the road, when I'm no longer playing, they'll say, 'Wow, they won four straight AFC championships. They must have been good.'" -Kent Hull

Regarding The Bills, of course.

My question is simple...does /sp/ view the 1990-1994 Bills team as a great team or just epic failures?

And if time has indeed changed your minds would you ever view the 2007 Patriots as a great team for winning 18 games in a row or just always remember them as "18-1"

They probably were good, but they just weren't good enough. Somewhere along the way, they had lost their Eye of the Tiger.

The Bills were epic failures and will always be #2 on the epic fail list (lol #2 again) to 18-1. Which will always be viewed as the biggest fail ever.

no they were fucking good

jim kelly is one of the best QBs of all-time, thurman fucking thomas? bruce smith? marv levy?

they were a great TEAM. they had the O and the D. hell if you think about they had that super bowl locked (obviously they lost, but only b/c norwood is a faggot)

they weren't the favorites in the cowboys ones, i'm pretty sure they were about even with the skins/underdogs. can't remember with the g-men

losers b/c god hates the city of buffalo? sure
choke artists? def not (except norwood aka ray finkle)

They were a GREAT team but yes, they will always be remembered as epic failures. It's the same thing with the Patriots this year. They were great but they lost when it matters most. Not really fair but its just the way it goes.
