Faguars last in division.
Gayvens: 4-3, doing decent. Shit offense, but, okay, one decent win.
Colts: lol
Vikings: Maybe one step below Ravens win.

Colts beat your "one decent win" 31-3. Tell your two dads to quit fucking in front of the tv so you can actually watch (and learn) football.

Listen, I admit it, you guys are legit. I have been saying that for three weeks now. You have nothing to prove to the NFL, and I will be totally behind you if you won the Super Bowl.

Now could you lose one game? Please? Just choose one. Don't take my last shining ray of hope away from me ;_;

Don't worry, 3/8 analysts will pick us to lose next week and everyone on ESPN will keep asking the question "are the titans the best team in football?" Analysts will still claim we aren't the best team. They will use every stat except W:L to prove this.

ITT: "We think the titans have a legitimate chance at perfection and we don't mind them because they don't have tom brady"

Good to know these types of discussions don't take place on /sp/ 8 weeks into the season.

They're a playoff team playing a 3rd place schedule with the big dog in the division (Colts) having an off year. They're the only team in the NFL with nobody on IR. That's alot of stars aligned. It also helps that nobody's that good this year...
>> Anonymous
They're good. They're the best team in the NFL. But I don't think they'll 19-0.

>>435587
And Tennessee just put twenty five unanswered points on that team in the second half.

Tennessee is legit. Let's stop playing this queer "HURR DURR PLAY SOMEONE REAL" bullshit. If we're going to do that, we should do that for practically every winning team in the fucking league. Example: Buffalo.

Yeah, shut the fuck up already.

I think he was commenting more on /sp/, not on the team itself.

>>435622

And yeah, don't expect any sort of consistency here. /sp/ will probably welcome this bandwagon with open arms, as we do any out-of-nowhere team.

[spoiler]Tennessee Titans Wins so far:

Oh god, I LOLed seriously hard at them comparing them to the 2007 Browns or the 2007 Patriots. Either way, that's a megafail.

Here's to hoping that the Tennessee NFL team can compensate for UT's shittastic season.

Except the Rays which everybody hates.

There's no way the Titans even come close to 16-0. They're peaking way too early.

>>435657
If the Patriots chose to shake their opponents hands after games, be decent winners, and not display the highest level of douchebaggery anyone has ever seen in sports they probably would have been accepted as well.

the titans will probably lose next week in a let down game, but if they do manage to get to week 12 or 13 unscathed, it'll be the shitty team that no one expects that brings 'em down. always is. (and like baltimore should've last year) my money's on the divine powers of bernard pollard.

No, because they're from Boston and /sp/ automatically hates any team from Boston. The only one they don't hate is the Bruins because the Bruins never do anything.

A good amount of /sp/ hates the Bruins. You should have seen how conflicted /sp/ was in June during the Habs/Bruins playoff series.

4 home games, 3 away games. Away games at Bengals (0-8), Ravens (4-3), and Chiefs (1-6). None of the teams the Titans have played at home have a winning record. Combined record of Titan's 2008 opponents is: 17-30.

Buffalo Bills:

Away games played against: The Jaguars (3-4), the Rams (2-5), The Cardinals (4-3), and the Dolphins (3-4). No home games played against winning teams. Combined record of 2008 opponents: 18 - 31.

So you do have a point. But the reason the Titans are being scrutinized at this point is due to the fact their record is thrusting them into the spotlight. The same questions aren't asked about Buffalo because, while Buffalo is considered a surprise team of the year, nobody really cares about the Bills except Canadian moguls, and the issue of their easy schedule goes without question for many people.

Enjoy the questioning of the Titans. It means there is legitimacy to their supremacy.

And /sp/ couldn't bring itself to root against said pussy frenchfag Hab fans because the Habs were playing the Bruins.

There were more posts saying "I don't know who to root for" than posts actually making a choice.
