It's so inhumane that when it became clear that winning wasn't possible Big Browns jockey pulled up and slowed down instead of whipping his way to the finish.
Simple truth with horses is that there are a lot of factors that can lead to changes in performance, a lot of people will point to the quarter crack in the hoof wall, that wasn't what lost this race. If I was to guess, I'd say it would have to do with minor bleeding in the throat and lungs, this is a problem that horses often have in very hot weather, when the horse tastes the blood, they will often slow themselves down to regulate their blood pressure. My guess would be that, I have heard that he was kicking around a bit in his stall earlier which is not typical of Big Browns temperament according to his trainer.
Regardless of whether Big Brown ever races again, the life of a successful former racehorse is a life of grazing and fucking, the life of an unsuccessful former racehorse is usually at nonprofit organizations such as horseback therapy places, etc.
Also, quit talking about shit you know nothing about, faggots.
