Hey /sp/artans,

Growing up, I was a fan of two NFL teams: The Patriots and the Redskins. When I was 12, my family moved to New England and I became mostly a Patsfag (though I would watch the Redskins when I could find the games). Things were great. For most of the years I liked the Pats, they sucked, and now they were winning. Then it happened. Spygate. When Spygate broke, I was extremely disappointed in the Patriots, especially when I found out the list of teams they cheated against. After that, I stopped liking the Patriots. Every time I saw BB, I was filled with rage. I didn't blame the players, really, because I doubt most, if any of them, knew what was going on. But anyway, as a result, I now only care about the Redskins. Is this right, /sp/? Is it okay to stop liking a team you watched for almost 22 years because of what some jackass did?

tl;dr After Spygate I became a fulltime Redskins fan and don't know if it's really ok.

Yes. But not for spygate. That was nothing. Every team does it. Bill Belechick is the greatest coach since Vince Lombardi. You should love him.
