The fact that a match can last days and still end in a draw is gay. No one outside the commonwealth gives a rats ass about cricket.

Its a factual truism that nothing lasts forever. The game needed to attract new blood, to provide sposors, attendces at crowds, etc. I suppose its assumed that the younger fans will come to appreciate the longer form of the game.

But honestly, twenty20 sucks gigantic monkey balls. Compared to the sedate mastery of test cricket it is a no brainer, over what i personally would watch. 6 dot balls in an over, or a perfect cover drive is more attractive than the glitzy BOOM BOOM bang wallop of the twenty20 over's, and the nature of it is very throw away and tacky

*sigh*

But, we'll just have to deal with it

pic related, i'm a lancfag

Cricket kinda sucks balls. It takes all day to play a single fucking match. As a usually open to everything American, I can't care about the sport - it's just kinda lame.

Baseball has serious game elements in it, and that's why I think it's so popular. Cricket is basically a race, and there's NO situational play at all - which is why Americans don't get it.

It's repetitive and boring, IMO, and if Cricket were to form some sort of baseball-like game element, it might get interesting again.

Cricket is a cool game if lasts no longer than a day. I used to go with my dad on the weekends who played for a local team, it was fun summers spent.
