Philly flew under the radar all season because no one cares about or likes the Phillies other than people from Philly.

Also, habeeb it.

CLUTCH TIME
>> Anonymous

Seriously, I think if the Phillies keep playing like they are, Shane Victorino could be up for MVP. He's been absolutely clutch for them so far.

Without a doubt that kid is going to be getting a big raise come arbitration time... He has been super clutch offensively as well as defensively. That grab the other night at the wall was beautiful... if that was any other part of the field it would have been a robbed home run and not just a robbed extra base hit... Fuckin' sick. He was smiling before he even squeezed the glove too.

is there a minimum at bats for that stat?
>> Anonymous

Yeah, that's why he's not up there. I think it's an average at-bats thing.

It looks like you need 10 ABs at least if you look at the complete list.

That's a pretty dumb comment. Who would arbitrarily like any team if they weren't some how geologically related? It's not like people decide out in west bumblefuck that they're Boston fans. If they do, they're bandwagoning. And you know how /sp/ hates that.

Also, it won't be under the rader once they win the world series. Shit.

And he still manages to write the blog about it too.

It's not that dumb of a comment- it's fairly true.

>>It's not like people decide out in west bumblefuck that they're Boston fans.

They do, and that's the practice of

>>bandwagoning

Which is for faggots, but millions of people still do it.

>>geologically

The word is geographically- I don't mean to be pedantic, but I do find the idea of choosing a team based on the rock formation under one's house to be amusing.

We're under the radar. No one pays much attention to Philly sports, for we lack a bandwagon after continuous failure for decades.

>>Also, it won't be under the rader once they win the world series. Shit.

And when we do, the bandwagon will begin. It may start with winning the NLCS as the anti-Sawx fags may load on.

It's not that dumb a comment. I constantly hear "Philly has the worst fans in sports." There is a lot of hate for Philly for a few reasons. First, Phillies 1 championship in 126 years; Flyers 2 championships; Eagles 0 Super Bowls; 76'ers 2 championships. Philly teams are not really winning teams so they don't get much attention. Seconds, the fan thing really makes people hate us... fuck I hate our fans... but I grew up loving all Philly teams and it won't change.
