I'm going to pick up longboarding for the first time and i want to buy one. Problem is i only have 110 dollars (at most) to spend. I was thinking of buy the one in the pic, it's a Krown but i wanna know what you longboardfags think first. Its a $70 board, i dont wanna buy trash or top of the line shit and so here's my question...Whats a good longboard ($110 or less) for a beginner to pick up?

Most any Sector 9 boards within your price range will do fine, although keep in mind that the trucks they use on their completes kinda suck ass. Ideally you'd build up your own setup but that'll probably take you over your pricetag. For starting out it'll do fine, just keep in mind that much better gear exists and that you'll probably wanna start switching out trucks and wheels when you get the cash. Also look into Gravity or Arbor.

Was there any kind of riding in particular you were planning on getting further into? (downhill/carving/slalom/etc)

Get a Sector 9. They're amazing. But they also cost like 200 bucks. :/

They're good starting boards. Once you find something you want to pursue more specifically they lose their appeal pretty quick.
