They need middle relief, not closer material. The Mets are more likely to sign guys like Joe Biemel to 2-3 years deal for around $10 million for the whole contract than sign K-Rod $15 million per year.

They should go with Fuentes then. He's only gunning for around $10 million a year. And he's just as good as K-Rod is. Only problem is that you're giving up your first rounder for either Fuentes, or K-Rod. And for a closer, that's hard to bite on.
