...oh wait, we already HAVE eternal shame.

gb2 ESPN. By the CBA, the Cavs will be able to offer him more money than any other team, and will probably have the cap room to do so.

And don't bring that garbage about Nike contract language saying he gets more money if he moves to a bigger market. Besides, he already built a house in Strongsville.
>> Cleveland Fag !AVztAjVxGg

And it's not about the money to Lebron. Or, it's not about the basketball money. He wants to be the center of attention, he wants to be a mogul ala Jay-Z. New York is the best place to do this.

Search your heart, you know it to be true. He can go back and live in his nice house in Bath during the summer if he wants. Jim Thome had a real nice house in Aurora.

If LbJ wins a title in Cleveland then he would probably leave. But he can't be going into business ventures in the prime of your athletic career, aside from endorsements, otherwise his performance would take a big turn for the worse.

I know he's explicitly stated that he wants to be the first billionaire athlete; BUT, I feel right now that he's 100% committed to athletic achievements. If he thinks the Brooklyn Nets will be the best place to go for that, then so be it.

Donovan, Beckham, Buddle and still no playoffs. Probably gonna lose Beckham and Donovan. This is a team that should be glad soccer is not as highly regarded as the other four, people would be baffled at how much they suck. lrn2defense

>I know he's explicitly stated that he wants to be the first billionaire athlete

Holy shit I just lost a lot of respect for Lebron. I know Tiger is a billionaire, but I don't ever remember him outright stating that was one of his goals.

LA Galaxyfag here.

IMO we should sell Becks and LD and buy an entire new backline and 2 midfielders. I don't care how many big names we have until we at least get into the fucking playoffs. Until then lets focus on that

>>463775

Forgot to add, Landon Donovan started a "trial" with Bayern Munich today. Rumor has it Podolski will be gone at the January window, so Landy might as well slip in there.

As for Becks, whatever. Let Milan keep him
>> Anonymous
>>463781
No, no, no, NO! You want this to work out. You want him to go on loan, be successful with AC Milan and come back to LA and keep playing for the Galaxy. Playing well for Milan and coming back will show the country and world that MLS is respectable. You, I and American soccer fans SHOULD want this to work.

Firefag myself. You think they got a shot against the Crew? I can't wait for Thursday night.

Come to terms. Boobie will lead us to glory.

Xavier was waived by Los Angeles Galaxy on 18 July 2008.

Don't follow the MLS does you?
>> Anonymous
>>464157
Why would he suck? He was still solid at LA as an assisst man. To have a world class player still playing at the world level, who played at AC Milan, Man U, and Real Madrid would be huge for the MLS. It would (and needs to be) even bigger for MLS. Beckham and the LA need to win a couple of title while during his 5 year tenure in America.
>> Anonymous
>>463972

Xavier got waved like halfway through the season, shame it wasn't sooner. That guy has a good record and good football IQ, but too bad he didn't have the legs.

But shit he was responsible for so many goals against us it wasn't even funny. We might have got into the playoffs if it wasn't for him. A fucking mannequin would be more effective playing defense.

waived* sorry. because i know some asshole will get mad over it.
>> Anonymous
>>464231
His footballing mind was fried from coke and steroids by the time he arrived in LA. He used his head to clear the ball more often than his legs; Even if it meant that it was going to fall at the legs of a friendly opposing striker. Dude was awful.
