Paul Ince is proof niggers should never mange football team, he has just signed Danny Simpson on loan for the season

I'll take your Ince and trade you a Barnes...

Danny Simpson is probably better than any right back Blackburn currently has. Enjoy looking like a dumbass in a few months.

er, i like the kid and think it's a pretty good loan signing, but don't be a twat - he's not better than emerton, or ooijer.

Well if Blackburn had more quality RBs then they wouldn't have to use Emerton at RB. And Oojier is average, wouldn't make United's first team just like Simpson hasn't been (yet).

Emerton can play RB or RM. RB is the position he plays when captaining the Australian national team, so it's not as though he's only used in that position as a stop gap. Besides which, any Rovers fan will tell you it's by far his best position.

As for Ooijer, saying he wouldn't get into the Utd first team isn't really saying much considering almost any 30+ defender outside of the top 4 teams wouldn't get in. Ooijer is a dutch international and has 2 seasons EPL experience behind him, which puts him ahead of Simpson in any managers eyes.

Simpson is a very good prospect, and I hope he gets a decent chance at Rovers, but he won't be first-choice RB. He'll be used primarily as a back-up that will likely feature more as the season progresses.

brace for mediocrity

Paul Ince was given the worst job of all the managers in the Prem.

The vacuum left by Mark Hughes' sudden exit has left him with virtually nothing. I feel kind of bad. Bentley goes to Spurs and Blackburn only gets half the fee. The 4th best keeper (arguably the most consistent) keeper in the Prem goes for absolutely no money, and now your star striker is being baited by everyone. Shitsux.

looks like a good signing he has done well in the scums reserves

Taking a team that has overachieved is really a hard job.

He would do well to get midtable

Ince knew the risks when he took the job.

Bentley was always going to leave - even before Man City came calling for Hughes. The Friedel thing was a huge shock for everyone involved with the club, but once it was explained that Villa would double his wages to 75k p/w, and that Brad needed the money (and help of Randy Lerner) for his US football acadamies, most people simply had to grudgingly respect the fact that a 37y/o would simply never get an offer like this again.

Ince knew what he was getting himself into, but that still hasn't stopped him from making quite elementary mistakes in relation to the appointment of his backroom staff, or his second-rate training methods. I find it quite hard to have sympathy with the man knowing that he's quadrupled his salary joining Rovers, and that he now has access to facilities, resources and a squad that is superior to many clubs, yet seems incapable of evolving his methods to suit those of a Premier League team. He needs to start learning fast.

Yep.

Ince is fucked. Bottom 6 first season.

That's if he even lasts that long. Be assured the Rovers board will not under any circumstances entertain the idea of relegation. It would literally kill the club. If they're anywhere within the bottom 4/5 come christmas time, Ince will be replaced.

His appointment was a massive gamble that some think didn't need to be made.
