You can blame the owner, but don't blame Kerr for making a last shot gamble with 2 players who are about to leave the league AND save money with it to keep the Suns out of luxury tax. Shaq is cheaper than Marion + Banks.
Also notice the draft picks they don't sell away, are nothing more than what that team already is. More athletic players who will rely on a PG, which is what this team's downfall already is. The Suns lose when Nash is forced to score 30+ points in the post-season (and he plays really well in those games), and the rest of the team can't do anything when they have the ball.
