You DO know the NFC Championship COUNTS as a playoff game, right? Because I wasn't sure if you were being sarcastic or stupid. Not ruling out both.

You're an idiot. You fail to see that the only thing anyone ever has on the Cowboys is "win a playoff game first". So since all the Cowboy haters relish the past, figure I might as well throw in the 5 Super Bowls into the mix. Oh, but that hurts too much for you haters doesn't it?

How 'bout dem Cowboys?

Oh I'd say winning in the playoffs is fairly important if you want a championship. And we are talking about THIS team, not the Cowboys franchise in total. This is about Romo and TO and Witten and all the rest and how they fail to get it done in the post season against inferior (on paper) teams year after year.

Basically until you prove us wrong, this is how your team will be perceived. It's like this in all facets, if you suck, we think you suck until you show up, if you are great, we think that's how it's going to go down in the future until you lay an egg.

As far as all that goes, it's week 3 and anyone talking about Super Bowls is kind of silly.

Because the Cowboys team from two years ago is the exact same team this year. And the team from last year, is the exact same team this year. And the teams they faced two years ago and last year are the same teams this year. Sorry, your logic doesn't make any sense.

Honestly, dude, this is the exact thing you did last year and you know what happened... and you all did this exact thing the year before. All you are doing is continuing a vicious cycle that happens whenever your team inevitably fails.

Just be gracious every once and a while, Jesus Christ.

>>356739
ok if my logic is insufficient to judge your team, give me your pearls of wisdom on all the teams in question and why they are better or worse than their recent performances indicate.

It's easy to say that they are not the team they used to be, which is an obvious enough statement, but I don't think you actually have the knowledge it's going to take to convince anyone but yourself that your team will continue to do what it's done in recent past. Anyways, I'm inviting you to go for it. Kudos to you if you can come up with a convincing enough argument to change /sp/'s mind about the Cowboys.

but honestly, our team does great during the regular season and cant do shit during the playoff..

>> Anonymous
>>356745

I am not trying to convince /sp/ to change it's mind about the Cowboys. I am well aware of the hate football fans have for the Cowboys, that often will cloud their judgment of a good team. Of course, only time will tell if THIS Cowboys team will win in the playoffs and win in the Super Bowl.

The point I am making is that the Cowboys have the BEST chance to make the Super Bowl of all the teams. Sure, it's only week 3, but look at what the Cowboys have done compared to other teams. They've won against two quality 2-0 teams in the NFC. Which by the way, these wins will be valuable come late in the season. Mark my words. They also went and beat a Cleveland team at home that was supposedly good. Although, we've all seen the disaster that is that Cleveland team. But, the Steelers only beat them 10-6, and the Steelers are supposedly one of the better teams in the AFC?

I just find it extremely funny that the only knock anyone has on this current Cowboys team is what happened in past seasons. Look at the Patriots for example, no one is saying they aren't going to win the Super Bowl this year because they lost it last year. Or that because they lost in the playoffs the year before that. The Patriots won't make the Super Bowl because they are bad this year. I mean using that logic, the only team that should win the Super Bowl this year is the New York Giants. And going by that logic, the only team then to ever win a Super Bowl in the future is the New York Giants. But wait, who won the Super Bowl before the Giants? The Colts. So what happened to that theory last year?

there is cancer at the heart of the Cowboys

they are clearly the best team in the NFL right now

but look at TO's stats. He ain't doing shit.

How long do you really think that is going to last before Owens starts to lose his mind, complain, and become a cancer

Wade Phillips does not know how to handle that, and the cards will start to fall from there.

Cowboys are playing great in September, but they are peaking too early. By election day, the bloom will start to come off of this rose.

Romo doesn't exactly have the longest track record... and it's "this" team we're talking about. You think we're gonna quote stats 5 or 10 years old that have absolutely nothing to do with 2008 Cowboys? Well that just wouldn't make sense honey.
