>>287046 dude our olympic team was short changed we where supposed to at least have two golds. one in one of the lightweight divisions and the other in the middleweight division. that particular middleweight (demitrius andrade) is the current world champion and lost a controversial decision to a fighter that was definitely not of the same class. what's fucked up is the scoring system that seems to pick favorites during the fight. and when favorites are picked the only way to show that you're better is via the knockout which is how deontay wilder (in the pic) got through in his first fight. Deontay lost his last fight to the current world champion and has a lot more experience, (wilder just started boxing 3 years ago and he stood toe to toe against the best amateur in the world) >>287052 dude this is an amateur competition when it comes to boxing and pro fighters would probably refuse to fight in the olympics not only b/c of the pay cut but b/c of how fights are "scored."
