I remember everyone saying this bullshit, in every topic about how Spain will win the EURO. We all know how that ended. This generation has what it takes to win the WC.

Argentina and Spain are the strongest teams right now...though that doesn't help a lot in a cup competition.

Kazakhstan greatest country in the world
all other countries are run by little girls
Kazakhstan number one exporter of potassium
other countries have inferior potassium

There is only one country with 3 points in the WC qualifier groups. That is Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan win WC.

Looks like Spain still have the good looking football that showed in the Euro.
If they keep going like this they will be serious challengers to raise the worldcup.

Brazil = 5 WC titles

Apparently they don't teach the concept of "per capita" in Brazilian schools.
>> Anonymous
>>278273

In comparison with Argentina, the per capita level of Brazil is the same

But I don't give a shit
>> Anonymous
>>278280
You're kidding me, right?
Argentina's gdp per capita is nearly twice that of brazil

Saging this shit thread

lol, Brazil. Not the beautiful team they once were. I remember watching the Canada friendly on Setanta and the Brazilians won 3-2 only by capitalizing on Canadian mistakes.

And the match against Cameroon & Argentina was disgraceful in terms of physical brutality. If that had been Argentina we'd have heard all about "dirty" tactics, but Brazil are allowed to get away with it.

Without the refs in brazils pocket they are exposed for what they are: pathetic prima donnas

It was a pleasure to watch Argentina school these sore losers.

Anyone can see that for most of the past 10 years Brasil have simply ridden the coat tails of their great forefathers.

Over hyped by Nike propaganda and overpaid, and reaping the benefits of big corporations with too much vested interest.

And God forbid any referee that doesnt blow a foul count in their favour

Whilst containing supremely talented individuals, the Brasilian team is a shadow of its past. Diving & cheating its way to glory... the classic Rivaldo incident in 2002, other incidents all over WC 2006 and now the 2008 Olympics.

On the other hand, Argentina is now emerging from Brasil's shadow to become the true benchmark of Sth American football.

10 years?

OK

Let me see

1998 = WC runner-up
2002 = WC winner
2006 = WC fifth place

Not to mention 1994 WC title

In 2002 the Brazilian football started the WC really ruined of reputation (just like now) and has got the title

Don't underestimate Brazilian football

we have great brazilian players...the problem is about those old players like ronaldinho that don't give a shit about the national team, but are backed up by Nike and the brazilian confederation

also, Dunga is the most stupid project of a lame trainer on the face of the Earth...

if we can get a good trainer that knows something about soccer, we'll have a good team as long as no player has an assured spot on the team just because of fame or sponsors

Its true that Brazil has the 8th strongest economy but from all Brazilians only a few get the money and become very rich while the rest are extremely poor. Argentina on the other hand hasn't got Brazil's economy but the people's economical status is generally better than in Brazil

Also with this World Hunger problem Argentina is the best country positioned to became a World Power taking Brazil's place, because while Brazil produces much more food it also has to feed a lot of Citizens, while Argentina has a very large territory too but has only 30 million people so a lot of whats produced is left for exporting. Argentina was as its peak the 7th World Power and 3rd strongest military country in 1949 and that situation could come again in this historic opportunity. In other words, Brazil suck Argentina is the future.
