22 of 24 players gone in just four seasons. That is crazy.

Most of them were old, Desjardins was and retired. Primeau had to retire to do concussions.
Esche is playing in Russia. lawl
Johnsson is being overpaid in Minnesota.
Pickanose is sucking up in Edmonton.

God only knows what happened to Malakhov, Markov, Ragnarsson, Tiamnder and Somik.

But wow, hell, it was a huge overhaul from last season too.

Forsberg was a big name on our team but he sucked so we threw him away.

Half of those players we got rid of just at the right time.
Johnsson
Malakhov (although he didn't do too much)
Pitkanen
Timander
LeClair
Recchi
Handzus
Roenick
Zhamnov
Amonte

All of them had good success in Philly and then really did nothing after being dealt, or left unsigned.

Wow, John LeClair brings back memories.

I still remember the old Flyers "Legion of Doom" line of Leclair, Lindross, and Renberg.

LeClair should have retired a Flyer. It made me sick to see him wearing a Pens uniform.

God, this line-up was just so much fun to watch...

I'm 23 now, and I didn't start watching hockey until I was in about... 6th grade or so. Right around the same time I started playing. LeClair was my favorite player and is still probably my favorite Flyer. He'll forever be a Flyer in my mind.

The person I absolutely miss the most on that list that still plays right now is J.R. He was such a fun player and seemed to fit so well here in Philly. I wish he would come back, but he's about to retire too.

uh wow, that roster has wayyyyy tooo many phx coyotes. esp. the goalies.

LeClair, Recchie, and Roenick were always so entertaining to watch. J.R should have been a Flyer for life. I do wish they would have held on to Markov as well.

I know, eh? Seemed like we were always making deals with them. Now it's Nashville who we're robbing.

Pitkanen sucked, and no one could see it except the coach.

Sucky blue line play. Glad we got rid of him.

Caps are close. Out of the 2003-04 Capitals, only Semin, Gordon, Laich , Morrisonn, and Eminger remain.

(Not counting Nylander, because he got traded, or Kolzig, because he's retiring)

I didn't mind Pitkanen. Johnsson was great for Philly though. Not many people could beat him to the puck. The guy is almost as fast as Kapanen.
