I just want to tell you as a USC fan, that Matt Cassell wasn't that bad during his time here. That he was a backup doesn't reflect badly on him, just that Pete Carroll was a dick to pick douchebag Matt Lienart because Lienart had 3 years of eligibility left while Cassell only had one after Carson Palmer left. Really, that's the only reason why Cassell didn't start, because Pete Carroll didn't want to look for another starter after another year. So Cassell shouldn't be *that* bad. His true talent is more like Palmer than say, Rex Grossman. The Pats should be fine if they trust Matt Cassell.

Of all the pictures of hot USC girls out there, and you had to pick the one hag. Fail.

Yeah, he wasn't that bad for teh 33 snaps he took. Based on those 2 games he played, I'm here to reassure all Patriots fans that Cassel will do well. Trust me

Carson Palmer?!? No QB has ever wasted as much talent as he has! Matt Lienart can't beat out a 75yr old man. What Cassell will show is how unimportant the QB postition really is on that team. They won't win the Super Bowl, but they should win 10-12 games. Yes, they have that many byes (read: division games) this year.

What the fuck are you talking about?

That team should win that division every year with the talent they have. Instead, they flounder and flop and end up being meh. I don't put all the blame on the coach. I just don't see how he has progressed as a QB. Don't get me wrong, I really want to like him, but I just can't.

USC is a shit school. They produce nothing but marginally decent at best players. Carson Palmer is the best thing to come out of that hellhole in the last 25 years. I hope they like getting beaten twice at home, first by the Fuckeyes and then by the 2008/09 National Champion Arizona State University Sun Devils.

And it's in the middle of LA, specifically beside Korea-town (really ghetto neighborhood).

"Not that bad" in COLLEGE football equates to "fucking horrible" in the NFL.

USC for life.

That's awesome logic.

Just like Brian Westbrook was "not that bad" in college, so of course he's "horrible" in the NFL.

Idiot.

Bengalsfag here. He played TERRIBLE on Sunday, but for the most part he has been an excellent QB. Last year was his worst season in the league, and he still threw for over 4,000 yards, and has a career passer rating of 90. The Bengals go about 8-8 every year not because of him, but in spite of him- awful defense, inconsistent running game. Palmer on New England would go 19-0.

He hasn't been the same since the knee injury though. Which is Brady problem, he won't ever be the same.

>>325038
Agreed. He has lost something, but 4,000 yards is 4,000 yards. A lot of his interceptions last year were plays where Chad Johnson simply stopped running his route and gave up Palmer for a pick.

Its right next to South Central which makes Korean Town look like a fucking paradise. At leaset Korean Town has good food.

The QB position in New England is irrelevant, but I understand what you're getting at.

It's in downtown LA dickwad.
A good 30 minute drive away from K-town, though yes, USC is in a fucking ghetto neighborhood.

Rephrased to: 95% of the time "Not that bad" in COLLEGE football equates to "fucking horrible" in the NFL.

Cassell is a better QB than Lineart.
