>>98936 I punched the numbers recently, and it seems more people would tune in for a series if LA makes in to the CF then Utah, and more people would tune in for a series if NO makes the CF than if San Antonio did. One of the main reasons is that the Hornets are considered a "more exciting" team to watch on television based on how they play the game; another is people wanting to support teams for New Orleans, considering it is STILL a hell hole almost 3 years after Katrina. In the East, most people wanted Detroit more than Orlando, and Boston more than Cleveland, so that would be the East CF that could draw the biggest ratings. Finals wise? LA vs. Boston would be number one, with the next biggest being NO vs. Boston, partly due to Boston being bigger than Detroit in amount of fans, and many people once again supporting NO due to Katrina. Fitting: worse rating possible would be Utah vs San Antonio and Detroit vs. Cleveland for the conferance finals; considering that's the series we saw last year, I bet that we may see these teams play each other again, and see David Stern drink huge amounts of whiskey again.
