This was a man of quality -- somebody who knew his craft, studied the sports he covered, and announced with proper calmness and excitement without going overboard or acting like a buffoon. The saddest part of this is that most people these days look up to Bob Noxious or Bryant Bumble in the same way, and those asstards aren't fit to drink Jim McKay's nut sweat.
