Texas' year, bitches.

Four teams in the tournament this year? Or five?
>> Anonymous
Texas is definitely in; Houston, A&M, tech, and Baylor are all riding the bubble.

3-4 sounds reasonable.

A&M is a weird team, but they're likely in. Baylor is in and out of the top 25, so they're in. North Texas has a chance in the Sun Belt tourney, so I'd say 4.

Check the standings. UTEP is also on the bubble. And tournaments have yet to be played. Good showings and bubble teams + North Texas are in. Also, OP left out the Southland conference (SFA or UTA are fo' shizzle)

funny thing, all shitty texas teams will be sorted out after first game n tournament, UT may make it thexy 32, but they plus dj augustine, will all be elimated in first weekend. Well, you can blame W. for that.

Lamar is in Texas, and they're definitely in. UTA and SHSU have done pretty well this year. Rest of teams either suck or aren't in Texas.

Texas can make the Sweet 16 easy, and Baylor/A&M is scary this year. Last year NT and AM-CC ran with their opponent nearly the whole way through the game, so if the Sun Belt or Southland tourney winner is from Texas... you'll want to watch those games.

Well I didn't think that TCU's record this year was veALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD.

UTEP is 16-11 (7-7) in a shit conference with no signature wins. They're not making the Tourney.
>> Anonymous
>>25774

Also, North Texas is 6 games back of the conference leader. No way they're winning the conf tourney.

They won it last year.

You will when they beat your team in the first round.

GO HOUSTON.

C-USA's time is now.

so much fail.

UT has the best backcourt in the NCAA. The best point guard, shooting guard and a top 5 small forward. They have the best chance out of anyone in Texas to win the tournament.

>UT has the best backcourt in the NCAA.

Agreed. JaJuan Smith is freakishly athletic, and if Lofton gets open, you might as well give up.

yes I have and the only other team in cusa with a prayer of a bid is uab, and even then it's an outside shot

face it, conference usa sucks, and it always will suck. it is a dying conference. no selection committee is going to put a cusa team not named memphis in the tournament over kentucky, ohio state, or syracuse.

even when houston and uab both beat UcK? hm...
>> Anonymous
Unless Houston wins the CUSA tournament, you're more than likely getting four.

Texas: In
Baylor: More than likely in
A&M: 50/50
Lamar/Stephen F. Austin/Sam Houston State: In as Southland champs

The rest are unlikely to win their respective conference tournaments, so they're pretty much boned.

>>27308

God I lol'd at that game. We suck, and I openly admit we suck, and to mess Houston up was hilarious.
>> Anonymous
>>27315

agreed.

blazers have been hot though. robert vaden is sick.

go uab

that was before kentucky pulled their head out of their ass, if UK played those two now it wouldn't be games

and those games were close even back then

as if the SEC has anything to be proud of this season other than the state of tenn.

If Texas Tech gets in I'll saw off my nuts, put them in my bourbon and shotgun that motherfucker.

A&M probably needs two more wins. Baylor ... probably in, though they really shit themselves hard after the first A&M game. Southland champ's probably a Texas team, either SFA or Sam Houston. Houston's third best in a conference that'll be lucky to get two bids. Rest of the state is fail. WTF happened to UT-Corpus Christi?
>> Anonymous
>>27447

nonetheless it'll still get 4 or 5 times the bids conference usa gets

Well see, now I'm just rooting for Texas Tech.
