Okay, I've been a fan of the Florida Panthers since their first season in 1993. The Panthers are the reason I got into hockey. Initially, support of the Panthers was immense. They had great players, an awesome goalie, and barely missed the playoffs in 1993. 1996 was of course a magical year for the Panthers, making it all the way to the Stanley Cup finals. In the mid to late 90's, the Panthers *RULED* the South Florida sports scene. Everyone had Panther jerseys, bumper stickers, knew the names of the players...people who laughed that a hockey team in South Florida would have never succeeded were suddenly in awe at the success that the Panthers had in the 90's and early 2000's. Then, all of a sudden...the support they had is gone. "What? The Panthers are still around?" is a comment I hear often. The support just isn't the same. Going to home games at the BankAtlantic Center are sad, seeing lots of fans for the visiting team and plenty of empty seats. Sure, the Panthers haven't been doing at all well lately, but just to have the magic and all the support the Cats had in their glory days would just be amazing. Its important to throw your support for the home team. Then again, it goes to show that most sports fans are bandwagoning faggots.Go Cats Go!
Its called a Bandwagon.
OP here, fuck the Bandwagon.
Oh hai just sold over 300+ home games in a row, have fun with your hockey in Florida
Only a man like this could get a standing ovation after getting swept in the Finals.Beezer was my hero!
After the lockout, NHL support is non-existant in most places. It killed the league. NHL was huge in the mid-late 90s and now it's nothing.
I'M IN YOUR BANKATLANTIC CENTER, PWNING YOUR SHITTY TEAM
>>23142You do realize how shitty the lightning are, right?
