I'm happy Obama won, don't get me wrong, but Politics don't belong in sports. I don't want the President stepping in and telling College Presidents he's making playoffs. I want coaches to step-up and demand playoffs.

The President should have no stay in this.

I think it's great. More people need to call out the BCS and its bullshit.

I heard that Obama is going to name Lou Holtz the head of the College Football Playoffs Task Force.

His report will be illegible.

"OH NOES OBAMA IZ GONA CHANG MAH COOLAG FOOTBAL"

"FUCK YEAR PLAYOFS IN COLLG TAHNK U OBAMA"
he was just giving his opinion, which is shared by most of the nation, but hes not going to use his power to do anything about it

Given that the tax-exempt status of the NCAA is under the auspices of the executive branch of the federal government, and the status quo does not provide equal access to the money that pours in to the BCS system vis-a-vis the fact that all Division I FBS universities pay the same membership fees to the NCAA... yes, he has at least a slight zone of influence and reason to hold opinions on the matter.

His recommendation would be to have an 8 team playoff to determine an honorary runner up while notre dame is automatically awarded the national championship every year.
