Negrodamus the 9000th
Anaheim who?
>> Anonymous
Thank god. Scott and Teemu's "lol, we'll come back at the last minute and knock off some hardworking new guys from our roster" antics and Pronger's ability to get away with murder is finally resulting in some bad karma.
>> Negrodamus the 9000th
Whoever is sleeping on Dallas better recheck that thought. That team is deep with talent and work ethic.

Dallas is one of the most unappreciated teams in the league, mostly because of the LOL DALLAS HAS A HOCKEY TEAM WUT factor.

Dallas is the only sunshine team I can genuinely respect. They actually have something resembling a storied team history and unlike the LA Kings they haven't failed for decades on end.

Robidas down!!!!! Stars down!!!!

I guess Anaheim decided to start making this a contest. Good game so far.
>> Anonymous
The Ducks take way too many stupid penalties.
>> Anonymous
>>66747
Pfft, they have all season
>> Anonymous
>>66749
It wouldn't matter as much if their penalty kill acted as if it were a real game and not practice skate.

DALLAS DRAWS THE KNIFE
>> Anonymous
WOW

Too many men? Really?
>> Anonymous
Hey Anaheim, maybe it'd help if you actually had five skaters on the ice.
>> Anonymous
I can just hear the Anaheim fans now.

"GOD DAMN BULLSHIT REFS STEALING THE GAMES AND SHIT BULL SHIT CALLS FUCK THE FAGGOT REFS"

Meanwhile Bettman remains deaf to their bitching, having already appointed a sunshine team to secure the Cup and a Canadian team to boost interest in traditional markets.

So accurate that it's almost sad.

Oh hai guys,

Dave Tippett here. I can't coach a fucking team worth a shit. During the 2nd intermission I told my boys "Just dump and chase even though it didn't work in the first 2 periods" and you know what? They listened! Also I like to pair that piece of shit Swede Norstrom and that nigger Daley together even though they suck horribly. Also, Modano's age is really showing but I don't give a fuck I still put him out on the ice every chance I get!

Hey folks,

Pronger here. Just wanted to let the rest of the team know that I scheduled our tee time for Monday at 11AM. Let's not play the blame game, but we could have used a few less "stupid" penalties. Hey, even a little penalty killing. Anywho, see all you other guys next season! And don't forget to practice man coverage and zone clearing!

Either you're a real optimistic Stars fan, a Stars fan like me that actually saw what happened, or another team's fan that's just being a dick.

I'm not quite sure about the rules here.... but Turco is allowed to check players apparently, does that mean that if he's out on the ice he is fair game as well?
>> Anonymous
>>66872

Goalies are only safe in the crease/making a save as far as I know.

Is that trapezoid a no-hit zone, too?
>> Anonymous
>>66874
I thought that was the case, though I'm pretty sure taking out a goalie is universally frowned upon. Well maybe not Turco, as he plays the puck a lot, perhaps he should get hit. Also, BRB knocking my own goal out of place...multiple times.
>> Anonymous
No goal assholes, you have no idea what that was like to watch as a 9 year old Sabres fan. I still see it in my nightmares.
>> Anonymous
>>66874
Checking or impeding the goalie anywhere is goaltender interference.

The crease used to be an area where no player/player's stick was allowed to enter, so goalies wouldn't have to worry about being slammed into the net every play. They got rid of that rule in the 99-00 season, and goalies have been targets for douchebags like Briere ever since.

ITT amerifags think they know hockey rules
>> Anonymous
>>67085

Ha ha...oh wow. Sorry, but goaltender interference is not the reason the Caps didn't make it out of the first round.
>> Anonymous
>>67091
Did I say it was? Didn't think so.

>>67087
GTFO my /hoc/, faggot.
>> Anonymous
>>67085
lol you're a fucking idiot. Cry more capsfag. At very least you should get the player right. Hartnell is the one pissing Huet off.
>> Anonymous
>>67105
Lol, did you even watch the third game? Briere was diving into Huet every chance he had.

Anyways, Hartnell isn't a douchebag, he's a big physical player. Briere, on the other hand, is a total faggot.

Good comeback. You really burned me there.
>> Anonymous
>>67116
You're just pissed of because Briere is dominating and Ovechkin is too busy diving all over the damn place.
>> Anonymous
>>67122
Bawwwwwwwwwwww.

Actually, I hate Briere for spearing Ovie in the nuts when he was a Buffaslug, and then being a pussy and backing down when Ovie threw out the challenge to fight over it.
>> Anonymous
>>67127
That was payback for Ovechkin hitting him from behind into the boards. Your precious OV isn't the cleanest of players either.
>> Anonymous
>>67130
The difference being that Ovie got penalized for it (and also, attacked by the Buffaslugs). Briere got away with his antics with no trouble, official or otherwise.
>> Anonymous
>>67130
Also, I don't see Ovie crashing into Biron constantly.
>> Anonymous
>>67136
He's too busy swimming.

And what difference does it make if he was penalized or not? Somehow that makes it ok? Fuck, Simon must be a Saint then.
>> Anonymous
>>67139
Hey, the people Simon attacks generally have it coming. I wish he chopped that pest Ruutu's fucking leg off. Hollweg's a little bitch and plays for the Rangers. But, no, he's not a Saint. This in NHL, not NFL.

And I said "official or otherwise". Ovechkin was willing to fight Briere, and Briere backed down. Also, Ovechkin clearly didn't intend to put Briere's head into the divider - he was finishing his check. Briere speared Ovechkin and was fully aware of his actions.
>> Anonymous
>>67172
He wasn't finishing a check. He came over and pushed Briere headfirst into the boards while his back was turned and haunched over.
>> Anonymous
>>67173
Hah, okay. Learn to watch replays, sagefag.
