Serious question, has anyone here ever been a fan of curling? Watched a curling season or whatever? If so, what is up with that fucking sport?

I actually don't expect an answer.

i've watched curling for 14 years (not so much anymore, but on a weekly basis during the Sandra Schmirler years) and still don't know how the hell the scoring works.

I actually have watched couple games.

The idea is to get your ''stone'' closest to the center point. I'm not sure how many stones you got but, the idea is to hit away the opponents stones and get your stone as close as possible to the center point.

I love watching this sport during the winter Olympics, in fact, it's the only Olympic event I watch.

Not only is curling the second most hardcore sport in Canada... but you know the chicks in OP pics give KILLER handjobs.

Do want.

These ladies know how to handle brooms.

I support this.

Curling is actually pretty interesting, but it takes forever to get a handle (yeah, I went there) on the amount of strategy involved.

Basically, curling works like this: you take turns throwing 8 rocks at a bullseye. That is one "end" There are 10 ends. At the completion of each end, you are awarded as many points as you have rocks closer to the bullseye than your opponent.

So...if you have three rocks in a 5ft circle and your friend has no rocks in that circle, you get three points. On the other hand, if your friend has 9 rocks 2 ft from the bullseye and you have 1 rock ON the bullseye, you get 1 point.

Helpful?

Not really.

Why can't they just settle their problems with violence?
