>>177263 Honestly, I think if they trade him before the deadline, it will be to Cubs. Reasons include:
The Cubs could use another top of the line starter and would be able to give him a nice new fat contract to match his fat ass.
They won't trade him within the Central to the White Sox or Twins.
The Red Sox and Yankees are more focused on farm system development, and Cleveland will want three prospects. We have seen Boston unwilling to trade Hansen, Delcarmen, Lester, Buchholz, and Ellsbury in any sort of combination, and that was for Johan. Same with New York and Hughes, Kennedy, Joba, and Cabrera (and Cano). Plus those two teams can survive (Red Sox have great young pitching talent, and the Yankees can hit the ball well enough to make up for pitching deficits) until the offseason to sign him and not give up prospects.
The Mets gave up the farm for Johan.
No other team can give the money he will want, and do you really want to rent him? If you're going to trade two or three good players/prospects for him, you'd want to sign him, right?
tl;dr Cubs will get Fatassia.
