Notre Dame's chances Anonymous
Alright lets be perfectly honest and actually no one can speak against me: either Ohio State or Michigan is going to be in the National Title game, or due to a bunch of douchebag pollsters who enjoy sensationalizing the whole matter perhaps both. But if not, what is the chance that, if they beat USC in two weeks, what are the odds that these boys can face the winner of Ohio State/Michigan?

You need Florida to lose. Even if you beat Southern Cal, bowl promoters are going to remember the last time Domers played Ohio State (bad loss) or Michigan (bad loss) and look for a better matchup if they can get it.

Ohio State and Michigan are the two best teams in the country and a national title game between them wouldn't at all be a bad or wrong thing.

Don't be jealous that your team got blown up at home by the supposed lesser of the two.

Florida is better then Michigan

Actually it would be, as they play before the national championship and will actually determine the better of the two. This isn't fucking boxing, where you can have rematches to determine the champion.

I don't think ND deserves a spot, since their D is horrible and we already know they can't compete even with Michigan -- so whether OSU or Michigan wins, we pretty much know ND would get raped.

The Buckeye/Wolverine loser will have already have had their chance to win the title, so they don't deserve a rematch either. Imagine if Florida and Arkansas were undefeated going into the SEC champ game and people were talking about the loser playing again in the BCS title matchup -- people who scream and whine about to no end.

Florida seems to play to the level of their competition, but their resume is the strongest of the teams with a shot and they would be fun to watch.

Arkansas is much better than when they lost badly (unlike ND) imo, but USC obviously has the edge over them if it comes to that.

And Rutgers is a fucking joke. They're a nice story and I went nuts during the Louisville game last Thurs, but we all know that any other team I mentioned would beat them by 3+ TDs.

So in my opinion, depending on who finishes strongest it should be like this:

UF > USC > Ark > OSU/Mich loser > ND

how is rutgers a joke, they win, win convincingly, and are undefeated i think rutgers should be first in line to face the winner, if not boise state, that's how it should be undefeated, plays undefeated and if a one loss team does get in, it should be arkansas or notre dame, both of hteir loses came early, and as i'm sure all of us know you cna improve through the season i wouldn't be surprised if arkansas beats USC or notredame beats michigan now

so in my opinion OSU/Michigan winner SHOULD face Rutgers/Boise State but realisticly, they should face Arkansas or NotreDame Maybe Florida

Then the winner of that game should be given the BCS title right there because they'll be the best team in football.

Any championship game that isn't between the best two teams in the country is crap.

If UM/OSU is a close game, odds are it will be evaluated as a one loss team who lost to the best team in the country by very little.

Not one other school can say that. If USC runs the table, they lost to a shit team. If ND runs the table, Michigan beat them by 24. If Arkansas runs the table, USC beat them by 34. If Florida runs the table, they lost to an Auburn team that can't throw.

The thing with Rutgers is, they still have to play WVU, and WVU is a completely different team from Louisville. Lousville is going to throw 2/3 downs, WV is going to run 2/3 downs. WV is built on speed on defense. That is going to be a tough game. You can't just Rutgers the Big East just yet.

And Boise State is a fucking joke don't even get me started.

Rutgers vs. Ohio State

Oh yeah.

Yes, if Rutgers goes undefeated, they should be in the national championship. It's black and white. IF you are undefeated, it means you have performed better than every other team with one loss, and therefore, should go to the national championship game. If you have more than 2 undefeated teams left, than teams should keep playing each other until there is one undefeated team left. What's that called again? starts with a P i think.
