So what is the point of firing Flip and replace him with a unknown nigger? Its Joe Dumar's fault for not resigning Ben Wallace, its his fault for not picking Dwade, Carmelo, Chris Bosh or even Chris Kaman. Explain please. Also don't forget the Pistons have been to the ECF 3 times in a row.

What has Ben Wallace done after he signed that 5 yr $60 million deal? That's right nothing. Great personnel move to get rid of Ben Wallace on the back end of his career.

Ben Wallace is a system player, he was great in the Pistons offense. They were a rebounding team and scoring on second chances.

>So what is the point of firing Flip and replace him with a unknown nigger?

Michael Curry, the top prospect, is our assistant coach, so he is not unknown.

>Its Joe Dumar's fault for not resigning Ben Wallace, its his fault for not picking Dwade, Carmelo, Chris Bosh or even Chris Kaman.

No, it's the scouts fault for overhyping Darko. And he might have actually been a good player if Larry Brown would've played him, but the emergence of Tayshaun Prince came around.

Explain please. Also don't forget the Pistons have been to the ECF 3 times in a row.

6 times in a row, dumbass.

3 times in a row with Flip.

Joe Dumars thought his team would still be defensive minded without Larry Brown, and use Flip Saunders' offense to go with it. Shit didn't pan out, so Dumars uses Flip as a scapegoat.

Dumars put this franchise together; he can take it apart if he wishes, I've got faith he can evaluate talent.

our team still is defensive minded, one of the top in the league, and no he's not using Flip as a scapegoat. Us fans wanted him out last year, but we have to wait until now. I'm glad he's finally out.

Do you people know anything about sports? Whenever they need to pin the blame on someone, it's always the coach. Although to be fair, Flip has failed repeatedly in the postseason.

I'm talking about with the T'Wolves too. And good coaches can overcome lazy players. The Pistons piss me off anyways. I wish them nothing but fail, no matter who their new coach is.

It doesn't matter who coaches Detroit, they're still going to be one of the top contenders with the current lineup they've got. Granted, they probably won't ever win a championship with that lineup, though.

well, give or take. Detroit's current lineup gives me the impression that they're too stubborn, and shipping a few players out like Sheed for one needs to be ideal.

Yeah, the pistons players are under the impression that they know how to win a title regardless of whos coaching them. They're complacent, and you don't win titles when you have that mindset.

Of course the coach is to be blamed, the one that made the team great is the players, the best starting five years now. Like Dumars said, the coaches are not going to build a team from scratch, they were handed great players in the first place. And the three coaches haven't optimized that blessing as far as we know.

Larry Brown did, and we got rid of him

That's different, he pissed off the owner.

It's hard to think of a perfect coach for the Pistons when Sheed is in play. And he's the centerpiece of that great team. The irony.

As a Pistonfag, Joe Dumbnig should be fired for picking DARKO.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

People keep saying Sheed needs to be moved, but what about Billups? Hamstring injury or not, as the leader and the center piece of this team he hasn't been able to lead his team by example or do anything to make his team play like a complete unit. He shouldn't even have the name Mr Big Shot anymore after this playoff performance.

There are teams with better talent that aren't even making it to their conference finals. If you don't think Flip is being used as a scapegoat, you're delusional.

no they won't get THAT bad. Dumars isn't stupid.
