In Week 1, would you start Phillip Rivers (vs. Car) or Derek Anderson (vs. Dal)?

My Starters:
QB: Rivers or Anderson
WR: Andre Johnson
WR:Wes Welker
TE: Chris Cooley
RB: AP
RB: Jamal Lewis
W/T: Dwayne Bowe
W/R: Michael Turner
Def: Dallas
K: Kaeding

Doesn't matter, both will do about the same

Rivers. I for one think Dallas is going to rape Cleveland.

Dallas probably has a better defense than Carolina. I would start Rivers even though I think Anderson is the better quarterback.

which is why I say they will do the same.

Rivers

Anderson has to go against Dallas' great D and he's also coming off of a concussion.

I'm not sure Anderson will play against Dallas. Apparently he's still feeling effects of the concussion.

/cle/ would probably lose anyways but if Quinn starts they are definitely fucked.

I would advise trading your team for picks next year. That way when you lose horribly, you'll have an excuse.

If you insist on trying, I would put in Rivers. As of now, word is that Andersons head is still killing him, and its effecting his play.

Also, get Forte in instead of Lewis. Jamal is mostly for scoring, and they are going to have issues driving on Dallas, and if they do, it will be by burning them on passes before Dallas gets all of its secondary back. Meanwhile, Forte is the best skill player on the bears (lol!) and Indy had a average run defense, and did nothing to help it in the offseason.

If it's keeper though, consider the picks. Better then going under .500 which your team will

This has got to be the worst fantasy team I've ever seen.

I hope to holy hell you're in a 30-team league, which would explain the dilution of any semblance of talant on your squad.

Why didn't you just draft Usain Bolt with your #2 pick instead of AP and finish the deal?

Thats what Im saying. AP is good, and other then that, the best player he has is a big injury risk, and a WR. I truthfully cant pick out your 3rd round pick.

1: AP
2: Johnson
3: ?

He must be waiting for Ted Ginn, Jr. to clear waivers so he can bench Andre this week.

not as shitty as my team

If you guys are such experts, tell me why this is a shitty team. Because I've read a few things authored by people who actually get paid to give FFB advice and this team seems comparable to theirs. Or post your team so you can get flamed as well.

Jamal Lewis is one of the few backs in the league who will get a majority of its teams touches because most teams use 2 backs and Cleveland relies mostly on Lewis.

Willis McGahee or Selvin Young for week 1?

Seems like it's 50/50 for McGahee even playing and throw in the fact that the Broncos are playing the Raiders...

The draft RB/RB method is dead.

avoid all cleveland and tampa players this year, their offenses are going to come down to earth hard

I don't trust any back running under Shanahan's plan. You just never fuckin know anymore.

Antonio Bryant for fantasy sleeper

Start Rivers, Anderson has a lingering concussion and Dallas has a slightly better secondary (although they do have the worst coverage safety in the league in r.williams, so winslow might light it up.)

I've won championships with worse.

Becuase while I agree that RB/RB is dying (not dead), its still needed. I still dont see a legit 3rd rounder their, and not even a true legit 2nd rounder. Andre is good, and he was great in what little time he played last year, but fact stands: The Texans have no line. This means that they could lose the QB again, and Davis isnt durabile in his own right. He would be a good 3rd rounder, but 2nd is a strech over guys like Plax who are proven.
As a Patsfag, Welker will never have last year again. He is a great player, and the perfect person for NE's system, but the League is going to be prepared to cover the middle against the Pats this year, like they learned to put an extra safety on Moss.
I have no big issue with Anderson and Rivers, but Anderson has a concussion right now, and its lingering, and Rivers had surgury in the offseason that ost QBs have a bad year after.
No Argument out of Cooley. Hes a legit #1 TE.
Turner is going to get crushed once the season starts. The Falcons have no line, and a bad passing game. Without SD's amazing line behind him, all the talent in the world isn't going to let you beat 3 guys who get in.
Lewis has hit 29, which is the first year of down seasons for runningbacks, and his team is throw first, even in the redzone.
K and DEF are fine.
Bowe won't have a good of a year. KC is a quagmire of suck, and he will be sucked down with the rest of their passing game.
Other then that, you have very poor depth. Forte is great, but might suffer if the other AP picks up his game. Other then that, I wouldn't want to start any of your backups even on bye weeks.

My biggest issue is not spending a Midround pick on Chester Taylor. Draft him a round early, cuase if AP goes down (problems in college, and so far in the NFL) then your 100% done for. If you had taylor as a handcuff or backup, you wouldnt lose much cuase the Vikings power comes from their line, not the RBs.

Is that enough?

Isn't Forte a rookie? Also, I believe Kevin Jones is the backup, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him share alot of carries with Forte.

He is a rookie, but hes a starter. I say AP2 taking carries, cuase hes the pass catching back. Forte has good hands, and AP is going to take plays when forte could be in.
