every big-market baseball team will make the playoffs this year. it has become abundantly clear:

MONEY=SUCCESS
MONEY=SUCCESS
MONEY=SUCCESS
MONEY=SUCCESS
MONEY=SUCCESS
MONEY=SUCCESS
MONEY=SUCCESS
MONEY=SUCCESS
MONEY=SUCCESS
MONEY=SUCCESS

twins, rays, athletics, etc=FAIL

the D-Backs will beat the Dodgers. And since both teams will be close to .500, the Dodgers will mis the playoffs entirely. The raison d'etre of a team in phx, is cockblocking the Cubs and Yankees. And it will happen yet again.

if you think its unfair now, you havent seen shit yet. wait until citifield and new yankee stadium open, their payrolls will equal that of the rest of the league combined due to a fucking ridiculous cashflow. all the while the a's, twins and marlins trade their best players to them, it makes my brain hurt just thinking about it.

>>222949

yea but yanks don't need any more bandwagoners. other than the over 9000 million mexicans who love the dodgers, we need more true diehards.

1.01 - Bandwagoneering
--------------------------------------
1.01. The Bandwagon always has room for more.
1.02. The Bandwagon always has room for more.
1.03 All of Bandwagoneering is one.
1.03(a) To Bandwagoneer a popular team is the same as Bandwagoneering an unpopular team.
1.03(b) Anti-Bandwagoneering = Bandwagoneering.

salary cap needed. the fact that theres only baseball in big markets shows that one is absolutely needed.

NHL has ottawa, calgary, edmonton, columbus, etc
NBA has san antonio, memphis, portland, etc
NFL has green bay, jacksonville, etc.

MLB has no teams like that.

Milwaukee is not a big market. Neither is Minneapolis, really.

If Twins, Rays, and/or Brewers make it = You Fail sir!

If Yankees miss playoffs in last year with dumb stadium = Epic Fail!

I think he meant to say "big cities"

Milwaukee is pretty big, but the Brewers are definitely a small-market team. Same with the Twinkies.
