>>236161 I had addressed every "point" you tried to make, but 4chan ate it. Mostly, though it just pointed out your warped view of how rushing works in the NFL, how you blame a 5'10"/200 lbs back for not bulldozing linebackers, and knocking Parker for not being the third-down back in light of his 20+ attempts in a game.
Parker has one major flaw and two minor quibbles. The flaw: his fumbling. Fourteen over three seasons. No excuses. The quibbles: his awkwardness hitting the hole when attacking the middle and his decreasing yards/carry over the seasons. Why are they only quibbles? First, he's not Bettis. He cannot take on a 250+ lbs linebacker time after time running as much as he does. Concerning his average yards/carry, his last two seasons have been comparable in attempts and average yards/carry while his 2005 season saw less attempts and significantly better yards/carry. However, getting 50+ additional carries more than explains the .3 yards/carry drop.
All of your slander is colored by your personal dislike for him and/or his style of play. But Pittsburgh doesn't employ Parker alone. Throughout his career, he's done the majority of the grinding with a second, "big" back to handle short-yardage/goal-line situations. Welcome to today's NFL. Have a hotdog.
