Well I decided to go look at ESPN's experts predict the playoffs (masochist) and I noticed that everyone who picked the Dodgers making the World Series also predicted the Angels would make it as well which would lead me to believe that several people within ESPN are openly pining for an all-LA world series. I wouldn't be angry about people predicting the Dodgers making the world series but always against the Angels? Really?

This reminds me of when in the NFL playoffs that ESPN was trying to make the case that snow in Soldier Field would favor the SAINTS. This, of course, was the season after Hurricane Katrina. It didn't make sense to me then and it doesn't make sense to me now.

So what do you think? Is ESPN's "expert" analysis clouded by bias or is it simply them being dumbshits?

What bias, ESPN headquarters are on the other side of the country.

I know, but it just seems awfully coincidental is what I am saying. Not one of their analysts thinks Dodgers/Rays? Dodgers/BoSox?

Actually, I'm surprised there weren't any predictions of the latter given their desire to see Torre and Manny back in Boston.

By saying Dodgers vs. Angels it made you go WTF and pay attention a little more. Thereby, the advertising/journalistic department of ESPN has done its job right.
