I'm from Philadelphia.

I'm watching snow outside my window.

Is it supposed to keep snowing for awhile? I heard it was supposed to clear up later tonight but I don't know if that's true or not.

I didn;t even know it was gonna snow. I just looked out my window at work.

I doubt it will last more than a few hours.

Even if the precipitation stops, they're going to be playing this game in 30-degree temperatures. In my opinion, the cold is worse than the rain/snow.

I think it's the reason Longo/Pena were having a tough time. It takes a while to adjust to playing in the cold. You're freezing and your muscles tighten up, your movements become jerky and uncomfortable. It sucks.

Selig needs to take control and have this game on a clear day at 4:30 or 5:00 - so they can at least get SOME of the heat of the day.

Selig refuses to have a game start(or resume) before 8:00.

At least they finally made the right move.

not only do i want snow and freezing temperatures, but hopefully no one will be able to score, this badboy goes 30 innings over the course of four months, and somebody dies.

MLB sure likes embarrassing itself

Why not play it outside of Philly?

Oh that's right, they need every advantage they can get.

>MLB sure likes embarrassing itself

On the scale of embarrassment (1 being embarrassing, 10 being mega-embarrassing):

-Tied All-Star Game (8)

-Mitchell Report (10)

-Bickering with Pete Rose (4)

-All-Star game determines home field advantage in World Series (5)

-Game 5 of '08 World Series (7)

>Having the first All-Star Game that determines home field advantage end in a tie (10)

fixd

>>436409

They need an even playing field, fucktard.
>> Anonymous
They should just play at a neutral park, someplace warm where neither team would have the fans factor in.

I propose Dolphin Stadium.

Huh? The home field advantage rule was implemented as a response to the tie game.

yeah that makes absolutely no sense... the rays have home field advantage with 4 games to the phillies 3... now you are saying they should finish the game at a neutral stadium so it would be tampa bay having home field for 4 games and the phillies for 2.66? you're a fucking retard

i also like how the phillies need every advantage they can get WHEN THEY DON'T HAVE THE ADVANTAGE.....
