Did Packers make the right decision?

You can consider the future of the franchise as well.

Both quarterbacks are good but It was a terrible idea to get rid of favre. I would play him forever just for novelty.

Yes.

From every other team's perspective.

Yes in every way. The Pack has lost good games to good teams, the slide won't continue very long. Expect to see them lose a close game in the first (second if they draw the Cowboys) round.

Aaron Rodgers - QB - Packers
Aaron Rodgers (shoulder) admitted to experiencing "pretty intense pain" on his third-quarter touchdown pass to Greg Jennings Sunday.
"I tried to throw on the sidelines and couldn't," Rodgers added. Coach Mike McCarthy said he has "no idea" whether his QB will be ready by Week 5

Brett Favre - QB - Jets
Brett Favre completed 24-of-34 passes for 289 yards, six touchdowns and one interception in Week 4 against the Cardinals.
The six scores are a career-high for Favre, who limped through an ankle injury while leading the Jets to a franchise-record 34 second-quarter points and then tacked on 22 more points in the fourth quarter to complete a wild 56-35 victory. Through four games with the Jets, Favre has gone 2-2 while on pace for 3,700 yards and 48 touchdowns

As a Greg Jennings fantasy owner I say yes

Rodgers is getting him the ball a lot more than Favre did.

Favre played the Arizona D. Rodgers played the Tampa D.

How about the last two weeks before this game where Favre looked abysmal? Rodgers still has better stats on the season so shut the fuck up.

> Rodgers still has better stats on the season

Favre 12 TDs, 4 INTs, 935 yards, 110.8 rating (leads league)
Rodgers 6 TDs, 3 INTs, 961 yards, 91.4 rating (11th)

I know it was only a matter of time before he got hurt. Dude stepped on the field once last season and broke every bone in his body. He's delicate. lol

Yes they did, of course they did. No reason they didn't make the right one. Yeah they did they most of. You see because I am right and all you are wrong they did make the right choice.

Considering Rodgers is a 1st year starter, and Favre is learning a new offense, they've both been impressive.

I think ultimately the Packers made the correct decision, they have more of a future with Rodgers.

Of course it was the right choice. Favre retired, and they started moving ahead with the young guy. To have allowed Favre back and given him the starting job would have hurt Rodgers' development badly. The team invested a first-round pick in this guy, they had to move forward.
