Hey Big XII, it's Boise State and WVU. What's that, your conference championship has lost the past two years?

Texas here, Chokelahoma is a loser. A Big XII champ that defeated THE GREATEST TEAM OF ALL TIME (according to 95% of the country).

Last year, you had just about the easiest fucking schedule, as easy it got. Only competition was Mizzou and you got your ass handed to you.

Kansas sucks

Pic related, best team in the nation. Boomer Sooner.

But anyways, SEC fanboys, what is the deal with your conference this year? Seems like all the teams in there are a bunch of mediocre baddies. 4 weeks into the season, and you guys are already losing/struggling with the scrubs of your conference?

It's pretty obvious the best teams in the nation don't reside in the SEC, with maybe, and a big maybe of an exception in Alabama. I mean let us be honest, a win over what is now a two loss subpar Clemson team is hardly worth mentioning. And I think we can all agree about the vastly overrated Georgia Bulldogs. Maybe the Bulldogs should of ran out onto the field after they scored... but that didn't happen until the second half down by 30. Then you have mighty Florida with a home game loss to Ole Miss, and a lackluster win at home against Miami(FL). That is pretty pathetic. LSU had a struggling game against Mississippi State, and another struggling win against Auburn. Who themselves had a struggling win (3-2) against Mississippi State and Tennessee. And then you have Vanderbilt, which in itself is pretty funny to be leading the east division.

I know, I know, you fanboys are going to say, OMG BIG 12 HAS TO PLAY THEMSELVES AND SOME WILL DROP. Which is true, I admit that. It's so funny to hear that from a SEC fan though, since that is like your saving grace as to why SEC is so good. That and, the worst team in the SEC can beat any conferences' worst team. Baylor could beat the worst teams of the SEC, easily.

Anyways, I know a lot of hate spiel is going to be directed this way. Seriously though, SEC, what happened? You used to be so good. I doubt any undefeated team will come out of the SEC, and I could easily see the top teams in the SEC with 2 losses. Why? Because no one is vastly superior to anyone else. It's a battle of mediocrity.

you are kidding yourself

I sincerely, sincerely hope that ANY of the SEC team meets Oklahoma in the Championship Game, because I am confident that Alabama, LSU, Georgia, or Florida would win that game

No Texas or Oklahoma fan will lie and say they aren't nervous AND excited about the game next week. A Big 12 team will be #1 AT LEAST 3 more weeks.

I'm hoping it'll be the Longhorns in the Championship game. Hopefully against LSU. But the media would want Colt McCoy vs. Tim Tebow.

On what basis? Like what makes any of those teams stack up with Oklahoma? Granted, as a Sooner fan for quite sometime and have gone to OU, I am largely biased. But from a mere, on paper comparison, how? None of those offenses can stack up to what OU delivers. And none of those defenses are vastly superior to Oklahoma's. So unless you are counting on significant special teams production, I just don't see how you could be so confident in saying that. SEC teams are having a tough time as it is with the offenses it is currently facing, and even producing. You're going to say that they could match up with that of OU or Mizzou? You have to be joking.

Also, I'll be the first to admit it is relatively early in the season and whatnot, so who knows what upsets can happen. I know all too well of Oklahoma choking, and have gone down with the ship every time. I know the season ahead of them is pretty daunting when you look at it; especially with a possible undefeated Mizzou team waiting in the Big 12 Championship. But I'm sorry, none of those SEC teams scare me as an OU fan.

Huh? Isn't Oklahoma the same team that lost to Colorado last year? You'd best wait until YOU go unbeaten in the Big 12 before you spout shit like that.
>> Lord of the Idiots !xBU36ZELko
>>376980

How does that have anything to do with this current season, or the current state the SEC is in? Come on man, think.

By the way, no, it's not the same team that lost to Colorado last year. And yes, Oklahoma is currently the best team in the nation.

The point I was trying to make is that before you go on and say how SEC is mediocre and all that jazz you should wait and play out your conference.
>> Anonymous
>>377017
Yes, because your team always looks good when you run up the score on easy opponents before conference play starts (OU for example).
>> Lord of the Idiots !xBU36ZELko
>>377017

What relevance does Big 12 conference play have on SEC conference play? None.

It's week 4 and already the "powerhouse" teams of the SEC are struggling/losing to the "bads" of the SEC. Of course, the exception being the Alabama Georgia game. But to get embarrassed like that at home, might as well qualify as a loss to a baddie.

I get what you're saying, and like I said, as an OU fan, I am well aware of my team's choking potential both regular season and in bowl play. But that has no effect on the current state of the SEC.

Hey pal. Why don't you play your first conference game before you talk?

Or maybe Alabama is that fucking good?

Chattanooga, I'll give you that. Cincinnati is decent, as they were ranked in the teens last year if I recall. But yeah, not too tough. @ Washington is a decent win, traveling to a non conference BCS opponent (something the SEC hardly ever does btw). And don't let Washington's winless record deceive you. They've played @ Oregon, almost beat BYU, ate it against OU, and 7 point loss to Stanford. That's a pretty rough start. And then last week OU's win over #23 TCU at the time, who also had the #1 overall defense in the nation. I will admit the game was actually a pretty subpar performance from OU despite it being a 25 point win over a ranked opponent. So yeah, easy schedule? I wouldn't argue that OU's schedule so far has been hard, but I wouldn't categorize it as easy.

>>377042

I think you misunderstood what I was saying. Alabama is a good team. I'm just saying, if Georgia was as good as people say, they shouldn't of loss like that at home to Alabama. Granted, I'll give them credit for somewhat climbing back into the game. But come on, being blown out at the half 31 to 0 is pretty pathetic at home if you are one of the best teams in the nation. Perhaps I used poor wording to mislead you to think that I think Alabama is a bad team.

UNH and Dartmouth play each other every year - we call it the Granite Bowl (granite state durrhurr). UNH kicks the shit out of Dartmouth, so the cheerleaders start going "That's alright! That's OK! You're gonna work for us someday!"
