Biggest bust who wasn't Ryan Leaf or The Boz?

BLAIR NO TOUCHDOWN THOMAS
>> Lambchop's Death Legion
You can't call anyone a bust when they've only been playing in the NFL for 2 years.

Players need at least 4-5 to mature.
>> Anonymous
>>22469

I suppose you're right. His stats are just so dismal for what they should be.
>> Anonymous
he doesn't look like he's developed as much as they'd hoped, and it appears he'll never be a good passer, but he somehow found ways to win games the last 2 years. i know this is a troll thread, but no, i don't consider him a bust even if he never puts up big numbers.
>> Anonymous
Michael Vick, without question.
>> Anonymous
enjoy michael vick 2.0 no dogfighting edition.
>> Anonymous
>>22475

OP here. Seriously not trying to troll. I know this is gonna piss off a few Titans fans but seriously. I looked over his stats and just shook my head. 9 touchdowns and 17 INTs this season. Believe it or not he went to a fucking Pro Bowl his rookie year.

I guess most people don't notice because like you said, the Titans keep winning.
>> Lambchop's Death Legion
not to mention the fact that the titans have no receivers.

Look at Eli Manning, when he was in his 2 year, everyone was eager to call him a bust, and look what happened.
>> Anonymous
>>22479
Is that suppose to be bad?
>> Anonymous
>>22479

Shit, at least Vince has half a brain, and can throw the ball worth a jack shit. His great great grandaddy must have been white.
>> Anonymous
>>22486
pocket qb wins championships, not look at me i can juke 10 defenders and still got sack qb.
>> Anonymous
>>22484

a lot of it has to do with the Titans' receiving core.
>> Anonymous
>>22488
are you kidding? his throwing motion is horrible.

Well, there's a huge difference between a scrambler and a ball hog. Vick was the latter. Young is half and half.
>> Anonymous
>>22485

I personally still think Eli is shit. Did you see him in the Vikings game?
>> Anonymous
>>22496
not the super bowl, but okay.
>> Anonymous
>>22496

oh, he won an illegitimate championship game that was really more of an exhibition game!
>> Anonymous
>>22500
He is shit. He got hot for the playoffs. He'll continue to suck again, and everyone will turn on him again.

DID EVERYONE FORGET THIS SHIT HEAP!?!
>> Anonymous
>>22484

lol i didn't realize his numbers were that bad. i figured they'd be closer to a 1:1 ratio
>> Anonymous
>>22506

who the fuck is that?
>> Anonymous

Barry Sanders.

I like watching Young play, but that's mainly because I prefer football games with a slow tempo.

Andre Ware. Heisman Trophy winner.

>> Anonymous
>>22490
do the receivers make the QB or does the QB make the receivers? as a steelers fan, i look at ben roethlisberger. his receivers arent stellar, and yet he still managed 32 tds among other career highs
>> Anonymous

Shake-N-Blake
>> Anonymous
>>22515

The fact that he's a Heisman Trophy winner says it all.

Did you know that LT finished fourth in the heisman trophy voting?
>> Anonymous
>>22516

He's a decent qb with decent receivers.
>> Anonymous
>>22518

Ryan Leaf finished 3rd. Oh lawl.
>> Anonymous
>>22517

Jeff Blake wasn't that bad, if that's what you're implying. He still holds a Pro Bowl record for longest TD.
>> Anonymous
Mike Mamula forgotten already? Aundray Bruce (y'know #1 overall '88)? a "lil' " guy known as Tony Mandarich? #1 in '92 Steve Emtman? Heath friggin Shuler???

Vince and Vick actually could play... not as well as the hype but they are/were solid starters...

Ki-Jana Carter? Lawrence Phillips? Curtis Enis? Akili Smith? David Terrell? Charles freaking Rogers...

These are BUSTS.
>> Anonymous
>>22523

They're usually forgotten for good reason.

Except Ryan Leaf. No one will ever forget that shit head.

HAY GUYS!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah. He was recently traded to the Jags, but Troy Williamson is a fucking bust. He was the first round draft pick that the Vikes got in the Moss trade, and he was shit. Couldn't catch a ball to save his life.

Hey buddy....Seeya buddy.

*VROOOOOOOOOOM*
>> Anonymous
>>22530

I really don't know what to make of the Bears offense. It seems no matter who they plug in there, they can't get anything done. It might be a case of bad coaching, although I have no idea who their OC is. Maybe they just need to hire someone with an actual offensive gameplan and pick up guys that can fill roles. It just seems like they've never had any real offensive identity.

Cedric Benson

>>22539
no
i think he need to get some weapons to work with
>> Anonymous
>>22544

i think you need to shut the fuck up.

Maybe the Bears could draft Colt Brennan. The fanfare surrounding him seems to have died down after he fucking sucked at the Senior Bowl.

And pick up Matt Forte' while they're at it so they can get something going with their running game again.
>> Anonymous
No mention of Jeff George?
>> Anonymous
>>22560

Jeff George really pissed a lot of people off, but actually had a few great seasons. He had a season in Oakland where he was pretty good. He turned a 2-4 Minnesota team around and led them into the playoffs.

He's a disappointment but he could have been worse.
>> Anonymous
>>22560

he was wholly unremarkable but not truly terrible. He at least has had a long career.
>> Anonymous
>>22545
that really didn't make sense
you told him to shut the fuck up and then you agree with him. lol you stupid fuck
>> Anonymous
>>22574

no, he said that the problem was Train Rex's supporting cast. They need to get rid of Rex and replace him with Brennan. And while they're at it pick up Forte.
>> Anonymous
>>22578
isnt colt a little frail for the NFL??
>> Anonymous
>>22578
they should draft Andre Woodson instead
>> Anonymous
>>22588

he's at least a step up from Grossman.
>> Anonymous
maybe he can bring his cool visor with him too.
>> Anonymous
>>22489

Did anyone else notice the irony of dissing scrambling QBs in a thread about a QB whose last name is "Young"?
>> Anonymous
>>22599
at least steve's td to int ratio wasnt a complete joke
>> Anonymous
>>22599
>>22608
oh you silly bastards
>> HKK !Li1UpTuBEs
Vince is actually a lot better than his numbers would indicate. His receivers are the main problem. I don't know many Titans drives I saw this year that ended in dropped passes but it's way too fucking many.
>> Kilgamayan !2BklmILFiE
Control-F "Tim Couch" = nothing

What the fuck.
>> Anonymous

Freddie "I love these hands" Mitchell...

Makes him even more of a bust because the Eagles could have drafted Chad Johnson, Reggie Wayne, and Steve Smith.

Akili Smith thanks you for forgetting Akili Smith.
