ITT: Best/Craziest experiences at college football/basketball games.

I attended a Washington St./ Nevada football game a few years ago, and there were these two lesbian sisters sitting a few rows behind me. Well, I guess they were sisters because they looked a lot alike, but there was no doubting that they were lesbians.

Oh, and earlier, the pregame activities included some Iraq War veterans parachuting down onto the field, but one couldn't adjust to the wind and he ended up slamming onto the ground and I think he broke his hip or shattered his spine. That was memorable in a somber way.

Back several years ago when the NCAA BB Tourney was in Denver, during one of the games I saw this brawl break out between a bunch of Texas fans and a bunch of Princeton fans. It was the funniest thing ever to watch Princeton people fight.

OP here. inb4 samefag

I suppose this question needs to be asked: What is the best atmosphere for a college football game? My answer is Virginia Tech. Blasting Enter Sandman with the entire stadium jumping up and down is enough to make me cum.

I went to a Temple basketball game in North Philadelphia. If you've never been to North Philadelphia, it's a lot like East St. Louis. Or Washington DC. Or Oakland, California.

Well, as I'm walking in, Temple's Women's Fencing team was selling fifty-fifty tickets, and the first girl I see was TEH HAWT. Soooo, I slide on up and start trying to put the moves on this fencer chick, but she was having none of it. So I bought my ticket and slumped off to my seat.

Four beers later they announce the winning fifty-fifty ticket and I won! So at half they take me to midcourt and, in front of the entire building, hand me an envelope filled with a thousand dollars. In cash. In the middle of North Philadelphia.

I get back to my seat, and they two guys I'm with tell me I can't walk back to the car with them, I have to go alone.

I did make it back to the car safely, but it was an anxious walk.

When Davidson came to play basketball here at Georgia Southern this past season (you know, the team that made a huge ass run in the tourney) some frat-esque guy in a pink shirt was down near the court almost the entire game yelling his head off. He was eventually made to sit down, and put his head in his hands.

I think someone also yelled at Stephen Curry calling him a child molester.

I was at the Browns/Steelers playoff game back in 2003 I think. Tommy T for the Steelers and Holcomb for the Browns. That was one of the craziest football games ever.

I live 30 minutes from blacksburg and go to alot of games the atmosphere isn't even close to that of Florida/LSU/Tennessee

While I have to admit enter sandman is pretty sweet way to enter the stadium everything else about Tech games fucking blows

Shit, my only good stories involve pro teams. :<

It sucks to live in a small town.
The only good thing about my city is Cal Poly, and that's only because of Madden, Weird Al and Ozzie Smith all going there.

I was a student at Notre Dame when USC came to play football in 2005. They were No. 1 and we were No. 9, so with that on top of the huge rivalry the whole place was crazy with anticipation.

Aside from hearing bagpipe bands playing celtic war songs in the middle of the night that week and almost tipping over the USC bus when they showed up, at the end when Leinart got tackled and the clock ran out (looking like we won), everybody just went nuts.

LSU/Florida game last year.

The sheer pandemonium that erupted in the stadium when they announced over the speaker that USC lost. I lost my hearing momentarily people were going so apeshit. Was almost as loud when we actually won the game.

Awesome experience.
