lo fucking l, the only team that fails harder than mine (Eagles)

I would normally defend myself but at this point I don't think I'll ever be happy with the Vikings. The 1998 season was our year. Gary Anderson and Dennie Green changed that.

The Pats fail harder than both of them combined.

I'd rather have 3 tainted Super Bowls than 4 ugly losses...

As a Packers fan, this was a fantastic day in my life.
Watching the ball miss the crossbar, and seeing Denny Green's face go sour in the bottom corner was motherfucking priceless.

The only greater Vikings choke was this play.

No you wouldn't. Not if you're a true fan.

Maybe it's just a lifetime of watching Vikings failure. I've seen every season. I was even at the very first regular season game in franchise history. I was 6 at the time.

That sucked but we weren't even going to win that year anyway. We were supposed to win in 1998. I respect the shit out the Packers though. Great franchise and a very storied history. The week before, when they lost to the 49ers, was one of the best games I've ever seen. Both teams played hard and made me respect them even more.

Mother fucking Jerry Rice fumbled that goddamned mother fucking football goddamnit. Incomplete pass my ass.

No, I'm not bitter, honestly.

holy shit a congenial Vikings fan. That's a first.

I guess that means I should say something good about Minnesota. I guess, there are worse states, although I can't think of any off-hand.

Just kidding, I always loved Fran Tarkenton even though green and gold runs through my veins.

I would be more heated by the fact you shut down TO until when it mattered most.

Sir Francis is one of the few bright spots in Vikings history. Along with the Purple People Eaters, Cris Carter, and 1998 Randall Cunningham that is.

THANK GOD THERE IS ANOTHER /sp/ARTAN WHO AGREES WITH ME ON THIS ISSUE

I was at a charity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, and was following the Sterling Sharpe/Jerry Rice group. I wore a Packers golf shirt and got an autograph from Sterling and I turnd to Rice and said "you know that wasn't a fumble"

he looked at me and said "I don't know what you're talking about man" and went back to signing autographs.

As a Northern California Packers fan, and having been in the stadium that day, I am still oh so bitter

Except for the fact that that play never should have fucking happened. Brett Favre should have been kneeling on the groundin victory formation when this play occurred.
