Shit "sport" or shittest "sport"?
>> Anonymous
Not even quotation marks justify the use of the word "sport" in relation to NASCAR.

Poker is more of a sport than Nascar.

Dudes driving for 4 hours at 180 mph, sometimes losing up to 15 pounds in one race vs. some fat dudes sitting at tables with cigars hanging out of their mouths trying to catch a glimpse down the bartenders shirt so they have something to jerk off to later. Good comparison, fuckwad.

I'm no Nascarfag, but you're still an idiot.

b. A particular form of this activity.
2. An activity involving physical exertion and skill that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often undertaken competitively.

looks like it is a sport, steering a car is a physical activity.

as a fan of nascar, i believe it is a sport.
but it is also a shitty sport.

It takes an awful lot of endurance and precision to drive these cars.
a common misconception is they only race at oval tracks, but this is untrue.
they have road course races as well.

As far as shitty sport goes, it's is poorly managed and the rules are poorly governed.

Wow. First Nascarfag I've ever met who didn't freak out at the accusation of Nascar being shitty. Good job sir.

NASCAR's going to die soon. The chairmen of the board just constantly suck any entertainment value out of it. I don't give a shit about safer cars. I want to see cars get the shit beat out of them. I don't want drivers taking anger management classes. I want to see men in race suits pummeling the shit out of each other on the back straight. I don't want to see performance race cars with some manufacturer decals pasted on it. I want to see the car I drive everyday prove that it's made to drive 500 miles non-stop while being beaten and bruised by other cars to inspire some confidence that I made the right purchase.

>>18013
agreed.
rollerdurby nascar is so much win.

that is why the 80's were the best time to watch nascar.

i mean, it's a race, how can you penalize people for wrecking each other?
>> PhilKenSebben !KHc9Lz/HZU
>>18019

classic nascar on SPEED is pure win.

BAAWWWWWWWWWWW a superior car company is making cars that win races because they're better than chevy. FUCK NASCAR

You DO know its pretty much a Specs series now with the COT right? Like>>18013said "I don't want to see performance race cars with some manufacturer decals pasted on it.

That's why I only watch Daytona then not give a shit bout NASCAR anymore till it wakes the fuck up. Now I pay more attention to F1 (though lack of passing makes it boring as fuck) and even more attention to grass roots racing (Friday/Saturday night circle track stuff using old beaters) and Road racing such as SCCA Club/Pro Racing.
