Who else..... I knew they going to make it to the NBA finals when they drafted Ron Allen, Calvin Garnett, and Parry Pierce, and what a beast of a head coach, Rick Rivers. Can anyone say Dynasty?

IF THEY STOP GETTING HURT WITHOUT PLAYING BASKETBALL MAYBE I'LL BANDWAGON YOU BUT ILL STICK WITH THE LAKERS UNTIL YOU DECIDE TO PLAY SOME REAL BASKETBALL!

LOL!

The east will get younger and tougher next year while the Celtics get older.

Also a lifelong fan. What do you honestly think about Oden? I hope that's not you trashtalking in that other thread across the way

Spurs=/=Celtics

Garnott is no Timbot and Doc is no Poppozits
>> Anonymous
>>165438

At very least he'll fix the rebounding issue. I have no doubts he'll play with intensity.

I'm glad to see we can finally have two centers in rotation, instead of being FUCKED when Pryzbilla gets two fouls in the first.
>> Anonymous
oden just so injury prone, his career will be like chris webber, always put up numbers but fucking gets hurt like a chinaman
>> Anonymous
>>165448

Fuck dude I hope you're wrong
>> Anonymous
>>165448

He's been doing full body and core training to reduce the risk of injuries. He's 20. TWENTY.

If he continues to train as he has, he'll be in great shape for NBA play.

I think he has potential though if he can stay healthy.

I shall bandwagon two teams- The NY Knicks & the LA Clippers, because their wins will be so rare as to become special. Esp. after Elton Brand becomes a Bobcat.
>> Anonymous
>>165482

Yeah this year was the year to bandwagon for Portland - an impressive .500 season and a team on the rise.
>> Anonymous
>>165482

I'm also bandwagoning NY. with D'Antoni they could be a good team. if they get rid of Randolph and some others.
>> Anonymous
houstonfag for life, im always hoping we can get a season where we dont suffer injuries to core players.

hell we could beat any team in the NBA, and we did

just get motherfucking healthy you dicks
>> Anonymous
>>165517

22 streak was impressive but it mostly came on 3-point shooting and not on good play making or easy baskets.
>> Anonymous
>>165519

also T-Mac's FG% = lowly .419

his career is on a downward slope; the team needs new guards
>> Anonymous
>>165519
They're just building up the team, most of the members now are newbies so they're putting them into the offense

Of course we could score in the inside, we have the best inside scorer in the league. And I keep asking why T-Mac doesn't pass as much when Yao's around. I think he's taking for granted so he just shoots those jumpers instead of giving it to the big guy
>> Anonymous
>>165526
Anybody else notice Yao puts up 30/15 when T-mac is not around?

Then again Houston's rotation collapses with no T-mac

That's why T-mac needs to just stop those jumpers, instead just dunk to the hole, make opportunities pass the ball etc ala Penny
>> Anonymous
>>165532
oh shut up rocketfag. this team always wins when either Yao or TMac is injured. Which only means that team is fail and full of aids, esp. since they have yet to win a playoff series.

time to hop on the Bulls bandwagon.

Too bad Steve Francis is a shadow of his former self. Otherwise you'd be looking at a solid triple threat with Franchise, Tmac and Yao and solid players in Battier and Scola filling in the 4 and 3 spots.

Uh, Stevie "Franchise" has been SOOOOOOOOOO "franchise" with Orlando and New York. God Rocketfag, just let go, plz. HIs name is Steven Francis, not talented enough to make his team have a winning record. You may as well call Andrew Bogut "franchise" or Joe Wolf, or Bo Kimble, or Harold Miner, or even Tracey Murray. Also give them better nicknames- I would suggest- McGrady - "the death of three franchises", YAO- "Tall brittle dragon of fail", Francis- "Francis, king of all unfulfilled promises".

Also, I'd call Battier "pretty cool guy, not afraid of anything"

G'night WHOston.

it makes me sad everytime i realize that steve francis is still just 31 years old.

i honestly thought (and i'm sure many others did too) that he could have had a career similar to gary payton's, but it just never happened
>> Anonymous
I'm a Cavs fan, but I'll be watching the Blazers, Suns, and Hornets next year. They should all be fun to watch.
>> Anonymous
>>165558
lol, you actually feel bad about steven francis' career. You should invest that emotion into your own.
>> Anonymous
>>165561

i'm a rocketsfag, what can i say. he brought genuine excitement after drexler/barkley/olajuwon either retired or left town, and that's not even mentioning the failure of the scottie pippen experiment. yeah we sucked, but when he finally made the playoffs for the first time with yao in '04, it really felt like there was something developing. of course, we know what happened after that with the whole t-mac thing.
>> Anonymous
>>165558
Guy was talented but bad karma follows him. It's what he gets for bawwing out of Vancouver. Now he's just a backup guard with slow handles.
>> Anonymous
>>165544
That team pushed the primed Dallas to seven games back in 05. After that the conference champs Jazz to seven as well. And this year pushed Jazz to 6 games without Yao and Alston and just a bunch of rookies to report in. Remember Bob Sura? Yeah, dead as fuck. Stevie as well. The Rockets are strong but who knows if they will ever play at 100%
>> Anonymous
>>165587
>conference finalists Jazz
fixd you bitch

What they do need is a real point guard, everybody on that team can score at will, Tmac and Alston dont give the ball back. They need a Nash. Or a Brevin Knight.
