>Redskins 6

Correct me if I am mistaken but didn't the skins just beat the Cowboys? In Dallas? How does this ranking make sense? Are we still judging Washington based on week 1?
>> Anonymous
Power rankings don't mean SHIT in the NFL.
>> Anonymous
NFL is not college football. Thank god. Nobody gives a fuck what the polls think, the standings are what matter.

Then again, if people didn't openly debate whether DALLAS or PHILLY was #2 in the NFC, where the fuck would ESPN get 90% of it's programming?

Titans fan here, we're overrated.

More proof that power rankings fail. Packers AND Colts are ranked ahead of the JEST and they both probably have the crappiest offensive lines in football respectively.

Minnesotafag here, not too suprised at our bad rank. Or our bad standing, either. As soon as SI predicted glory, we predicted shame.

Sigh Dallas. As a Cowboys fan, I'm not buying into this "it's good they lost" ideology. The Cowboys don't deserve to rationalize this loss to the Redskins at home, because we haven't done anything in the past 12 years. Cowboys need to come out every week with a strong showing until they win the Super Bowl again. Only after that, can they rationalize losses. Any Cowboys fan who doesn't see this loss to the Redskins at home as being a legitimate concern needs to put down the Cowboys kool-aid and recognize we haven't done shit. I don't care about last years record, or the year before that. The only record that matters is the postseason, and we haven't done anything the last 12 years. Lackluster efforts like the one displayed this past Sunday is why we haven't done shit in the postseason. I just hope the cyclical collapse of the Cowboys doesn't repeat itself at the end of this season.

True cowboys fans don't expect a 16-0 season. I'm sure you all want it, but losses that don't end up in double digits will get you into the playoffs. And regular season is not what you guys should be worrying about.

You should be saying "The coyboys need to win ONE playoff game under Romo, then they might be coming back". You want a super bowl, when you can't even get to the NFC game.
>> Lord of the Idiots !xBU36ZELko
>>372076

What? First of all, any true fan wants to win every game. And in the NFC East, single digits in the loss column carry a huge chance of not making the playoffs. So yes, regular season is something of concern. Especially for the Cowboys, when the dismal end of the past couple of seasons have carried over to early exits for them. It's simple logistics my friend. As a Cowboys fan, of course I want a Super Bowl win. I am also well aware of the need to win a playoff game for that to happen. But in order to win the playoff game, you have to take care of business in the regular season.

I guess we can't complain. Michael Turner is a beast.

3 teams from the NFC East are making the playoffs. We know that shit already. The other divisions will be sending paltry 9-7 teams, maybe even 8-8.

NFC is weak this year, you don't need to be 14-2 to get into the playoffs.
>> Lord of the Idiots !xBU36ZELko
>>372101

Right, and a home loss against the Redskins is not good.
>> Anonymous
>>372101

the afc sucks this year too.

>>372108
It's not season ending. 1 loss won't ruin the chances to make it into the playoffs. You might catch the Giants, because they're not going 16-0. The Eagles aren't either. No offense, but you're basically fighting shit teams that are #2 in other divisions for the Wild Card.

The Cowboys will have zero problems this year making it into the playoffs. Start worrying when that first game comes up.
>> Anonymous
>>372109
I have a feeling 10-6 will be the cutoff getting the wild card though. Each division has 1 decent team and another nipping at their heels. It'll be a fight til the very end. NFC East and South are garbage, and they won't be sending 2 teams. Hell, I'm sure they'll have like 9-7 records and still make it.
>> Anonymous
>>372112
If things spiral for the cowboys (another loss in their next 4 games, I don't see them losing to cinci or st louis, probably not arizona) they might implode. Also how do rate them above a team that just beat them and they have the same record? Whatever. Fucking media slobbering on "america's team"'s cock

I'm not a Cowboys fan, but I think that their "demise" has been greatly overexaggerated. It's one fucking game, people. Good teams lose games they shouldn't all the time. Suddenly, people are saying that Dallas might miss the playoffs. WTF?
