2008 NFL Draft Anonymous
Alright /sp/...

You're ON THE CLOCK.
>> Alakazam !!OEP6m59Bksc
Anyone who passes up Vernon Ghoulston is an idiot.

That is all.
>> Anonymous
>>72532
Is that really someone's name?

BRB have to pre-order the jersey.
>> Anonymous
sadly, it's gholston, not ghoulston.

not as if that'll stop anybody on here, but still...
>> Anonymous
>>72532
>>Anyone who passes up Glenn Dorsey is an idiot.
Fix'd.
>> Alakazam !!OEP6m59Bksc
>>72539

Whatever
>> Anonymous
Jake Long had to be the pick for the Fins, but it is such a boring pick. McFadden, Gholston, and Chris Long will all be awesome pros. Someone is going to STEAL Michael Jenkins in the middle of the first too.

I got my first rounder.
>> Anonymous
Saints trade up to get dorsey/ellis for a 1st and third, trade second and a 5th for shockey

Sup pats.
>> Anonymous
>>73022
Their defense would still suck.
>> Anonymous
>>73023
We have an near-elite linebacker corps now

Fujita Vilma Morgan
>> Anonymous
>>73022

You fags will suck. It takes one injury to Duece and having Reggie take on the RB role again for the shit to hit the fan. Plus your defense fails.
>> Anonymous
>>73026
I would call that linebacking corps "decent" if not "injury-prone." What's the depth like behind them?
>> Anonymous
>>73026

Ill give you Vilma and MAYBE Fujita. Dan Morgan will get hurt very very soon. Plus you guys still have Jason David.
>> Anonymous
>>73026
WHAT? As in Johnathan Vilma? I must have missed that this off-season...how did they get him?
>> Anonymous
>>73046
conditional 4th rounder in 2009 iirc

Depends if morgan can stay healthy.

Assuming Mike Mckenzie is healthy and that Aaron Glenn or Randall Gay can actually play better then a 12 year old, and that we draft a good DT, our defense will be much, much, much better.

With the 4th pick in the 2008 NFL draft, Al Davis selects.....the fastest DB on the draft board. He than suffers a terrible heart attack and dies, Oakland than throws a city wide party.
>> TheLonelyRayFan !!29cu3WeR6CU
>>72532
Yay for overhyped Athletic 3-4 LBers who can't cover and are inconsistant?

Bucs choose Mike Jenkins or Devin Thomas

Pats shock the world and trade up to #5 to steal Chris Long.
>> Anonymous
>>72532
Yeah, because he was so awesome in college. Oh wait, no he wasn't. He was crap. The guy had two good games in his entire college career. Where was ho in the bowl games? Zero bowl game sacks. None. This guy is a third round talent. I will call this one right now... BUST.
>> Anonymous
>>73101
Hopefully there are not any 4.3 DBs this year. It is always an adventure being a Raiders fan on draft day. I want that nigger runner back guy. That would give us the best five-some of RBs in the league. That's 5000 potential yards right there. Yeah.
>> Anonymous
Unless the Eagles can find a WR in a trade, they're pretty much screwed in the draft this time around.
>> Anonymous
I trade my pick for thirty-two 12th round picks. I draft 32 punters and LAY DOWN THE FUCKING LAW!

With the first pick in the 2008 /sp/ draft, Anonymous selects Cyber-Demon Jenkins, Alabama.

With the first pick in the 2008 /sp/ draft, Anonymous selects Ted Ginn.

I like this pick for /sp/. He's got a gun for an arm, cybernetic leg which grants him fantastic mobility in the pocket, and the fang/dual horn facial make-up will protect him from reaching arms. I think we see him as a solid starter on this board for years to come. Where he may encounter some problems is in his exposed stomach. They worked on this at Alabama but when you talk about open intestines available for any defense to hone in on, you've got a situation prime for injury. Overall though, this kid is off the charts in his positives and the feeling around the league is that this is the best player on the board.

anyone knows Ray Rice is the best running back in this year draft. i want the raiders to get chris long and draft ray rice later in the rounds, but they going to get dat wood nigga and set the franchise back another 10 thousand years.

The Arch-Vile's best attributes aren't his measurables but his football intelligence. He doesn't have a huge arm, but his ability to resurrect his teammates from the dead will be a godsend for the New England patriots. While he does need to bulk up to play at the next level (he weighed in at a skeletal seventy nine pounds) his ability to explode opposing defenses cannot be overstated.

I want to trade my /sp/ pic for a big pair of tits from /s/ and a nice shaved snatch.
>> Anonymous
>>73210
I can picture him saying that. WHY?!?!?!?!?!
>> Anonymous
>>73222

b/c he was on pti as i was writing and i stole a few phrases
>> Anonymous
Cyberdemon does have one huge flaw though that may cause him to drop a bit in the draft and that would be the fact that you could "shoot at him until he dies."

With the 2nd pick in the draft, /sp/ selects T-1000 out of Cyberdyne

Think of this kid like a stronger, faster, and immensely more violent Cordell Stewart. His entymentypollyalloy make-up allow his to take a variety of forms and play multiple positions. He's a match-up nightmare that is going to drive opposing coordinators batty trying to game plan for him. Major issues here are that he sometimes plays down to his opponent so much so that it looks like he's taken their form. We're also still a little unsure that his combine numbers were accurate as rumors have been flying that he shifted into McFadden for his 40. I think this is a high risk, high reward selection that may doom /sp/'s future, or save it. But hey, there's no future but what they make of it.
>> Anonymous
Ok, Let's look at the board:

1. Cyber-Demon
2. T-1000
3. ..............?
>> Anonymous
So, /sp/ took over the Cheatriots' first round pick?
>> UZ !kHzD4It5Tc
>>73234
Sounds like a protip.
>> Anonymous
I'm on the clock now??? with the 3rd pick of the NFL Draft, we take Tom Brady.
>> Anonymous
With the 4th pick in the NFL draft, /sp/ selects

VC!
>> Anonymous
I pick Sam Cassell cause no one in their right mind would run towards something that scary looking, therefore rendering defences ineffective.
