It's refreshing to watch soccer where the players don't fall down and cry for fouls every three minutes.

sage for the 1000000000000th anti-soccer thread
>> Anonymous
yeah i'm watching it

it says "prime time mls" on espn2 lol

Anti-soccer? This is pro-soccer if anything.
>> Anonymous
true, but the only problem with the MLS is that games are called waaaaaaaaaaay too tightly, and the amount of fouls that go on in the game slow the pace down immensely. and they play waay behind the ball, there isnt much fluidity in counterattacking, and the game seems to be held at the whims of the refs.

but other than that, i like the MLS. i think la liga is the best in the world. i follow the scottish premier league closest (3 in a row bitches!!!! go celtic). I think that the english premier league is the most talented individually.

but mls is still fun to watch
>> SonicsFag
still a garbage sport, mostly rejects that couldnt play REAL football

nice goal for san jose

Ew, San Jose on ESPN2?

I hate Frank Yallop. He destroyed the Galaxy.

2-0 now. I have to admit that was a pretty good goal

If England beats the US, I'll eat the spare euros I have lying around from my vacation overseas. 15 euros is now equal to 100 bucks, right President Bush?
>> Anonymous
USA to win is paying $7.2
sounds like a good bet to me.
>> Anonymous
>>113001
easy now buddy, england sucks cause they didn't qualify for euro2008, it's proof.

enjoy eating dusty old money though

England will win, no doubt about it. Sure, we have a chance, but don't be silly.

Britfag here. Our national "team" is a bit of a fucking joke at the moment. We have (collectively) some great talent in the squad, but they're mostly all egomaniacs that hate eachother and can't play together as a unit.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see us get beaten by the amerifags, and as humiliating as that would be, I'm not sure I'd really care all that much. There's a fair bit of apathy towards the national squad right now, because essentially, apart from 1 or 2 individuals, all their attitudes fucking stink.

enjoy your washed up players.

Holy shit, Real Madrid joined the MLS?
>> Anonymous
Also, i've enjoyed the way Blanco has played aside for the needless dives and lack of his signature move. Scored some cracking goals.
>> Anonymous
I fucken love Blanco. He's everything MLS needs to be a competitive, exciting league - cynical scumbag and all
>> Anonymous
>>113014
I lol'd way more than I should have at that.

I love the energy Blanco brings too, but you can't contest that the second another player breathes near him he's screaming at the ref for a card.

I tried watching MLS last night, it's boring to watch players with no skill. At least the eurofags make it interesting.
>> Anonymous
>>112915

Truth. I'd probably be more of a fan of soccer if there wasn't more effort put into subterfuge rather than skill.
