Do you prefer high school, college, or pro football?
>> Anonymous
high school is on friday
college on saturday
pro on sunday and monday
It's all good during football season
>> Anonymous
All three have their own separate, distinct appeal. Pro football is my favorite, though.

pro

I hate amateur football
>> Anonymous
Pro, without any doubt.

College is occasionally, but rarely interesting.

I'd rather watch bowling on ESPN2 than see a high school football game.
>> Anonymous
My high school is terrible. My favorite college team is god awful. My favorite pro team is reigning champ.
>> Anonymous
I like college and NFL equally

College is exciting.
Pro is boring except when my bills or chargers play.
High School is only entertaining if it is your school...but really not.

College = competition
Pro = entertainment

That being said, I prefer Pro, though it would be interesting if CFB had a playoff.
>> Anonymous
I like college much more. Being at a game is way more fun with the band and student sections going crazy. Pro's just don't have that same atmosphere.
>> Anonymous
I like college and professional a lot, but for different reasons. High school football is only fun if you have some personal connection to the team/players/coaches.
>> Anonymous
I'm pretty split between college and pro, but the system for determining the champion of the highest level of college football is really frustrating.

Set criteria > bullshit beauty contest

lol o wow
>> Holy Emperor Anon vi Philadelphia !!CF3BKIiUIDY
College tends to be more frenzied and interesting, so I would definitely prefer it to Pro.
>> Alakazam !!OEP6m59Bksc
I get more excited for the NFL, but I love college football with a passion.
>> Anonymous
i've been to mlb and nhl games.

college football, basketball, and hockey were so much more entertaining
>> Anonymous
I've always loved college football more than the NFL but since I've been playing fantasy football, I'm now more interested in the NFL's regular season.

I love both equally.

College and Pro are awesome to watch. Nothing beats waking up to football on Sat and Sun.

High school football is only good when your playing. I don't give a fuck since I graduated.

I loathe both high school and college football.

Pro football is just great though.

i keep getting older, they stay the same age

college football is By Far THE BEST THE BEST. it's right in the middle of the players' careers so you get to see them mature before your very eyes and follow the good ones at all levels, thru HS and recruiting, ncaa, then the draft, etc. there's passion, tradition, campus tailgating... plus (unless you're a real shit school) it's on saturday so you can get fucked up and recover/sleep through boring ass NFL sunday. in before duhurrrrrr im a dumbass construction worker from the NE durrrrrr

Pro, easily. It features the best of the best and the cream of the crop playing. I've never been able to get into college.

fucking this

college is so fucking bush league

hurrrr, let's run the option/trick play #62726, WAIT, he breaks one fucking tackle and he's gone for 80 yards b/c half the people out on the field are scrubs and will never amount to anything

everybody's always like "that's the excitement of college football, you never know what's going to happen"

yeah, b/c it's shit. shit like that would never go down in the NFL. best of the best is the ONLY way for sports

would anybody watch a triple-A baseball or a AHL game over their pro counterparts? (outside of the locals). if you answer yes, you're a troll or have shitty opinions
>> Anonymous
>>348329
Or maybe you just don't want to spend the assload of money required to see a pro game.
>> Anonymous
>>348337
True. College Football may not have as equal of a playing field as the NFL, but it will always be more exciting with the scenario of an upset.
>> Anonymous
>>348329
I like watching AHL games sometimes because the refs generally let them get away with more but the NHL is def the choice.

Only reason I like college is the atmosphere. I would much rather talk NFL and watch NFL, but if I'm going, it's to tailgate and hang out with buddies at a college game.

You're comparing minor league baseball to major league baseball but also comparing college football to pro football, shouldn't you compared the MLB to college baseball? that would be more accurate, but then your opinion would look like shit because college baseball is largely popular too
>> PhilKenSebben !qNgkjhpu0A
NFL, but the college game is becoming more and more interesting to me. I was never real interested in college ball before.
>> Anonymous
>>348346
minor has more talent than college and is more of an even playing filed compared to the bigs

> college baseball is largely popular too
yeah ok. maybe at the colleges with good programs.

nobody gives a fuck about college/minor league ball when MLB is in full season
>> Anonymous
>>348352
there is enough mlb to where we dont need an alternative, as opposed to football, where by the time Saturday comes around we are starving for it, college basketball is the same way until they give us pro games on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday

This.

Also go Irish, beat Spartans.

College hands down. They play for pride and to prove themselves, not for multimillion contracts. Granted, they do it so that they might one day play for a team that will give them a multimillion dollar contract, but still....
>> Anonymous
college because every game has more emotion and every game matters

plus theres more then 2 games on at a time
>> Dolfan !!6nOq0Y/J8jv

Let's have babies and fill this world with knowledge.

>>348337
I'd assume most people just watch it from home anyways. I could understand that a college game experience might be more enjoyable though, especially with the direction the NFL seems to be going about how crowds are acting.

And which team will you be playing for this weekend? You talk a pretty big game for a guy that has spent most of his time talking shit to a TV from the couch and occasionally switching it up by coming online to do more of the same. You want to know why you see plays like that in college and not the NFL? College athletes are students that have real world shit going on outside of that field. This isn't a full-time job like it is for the pros. And let me tell you, they better do a great fucking job on that field every Sunday and Monday for all the zeros that they see on their paychecks. Then they have the nerve to complain about rules and regulations, paycheck disputes, etc. Pro ball players are nothing more than a bunch of whiny little cunts.
>> Anonymous
college for sure
>> Anonymous
>>348420ollege athletes are students that have real world shit going on outside of that field

I'm willing to bet that most starting players on big name teams are only attending that college because they have full-athletic scholarships. Without the game, they would never be undergraduates. Don't act like their "education" is their priority.

I love football in any form, but college is superior:

- more intense rivalries
- more passionate fans
- appealing collegiate atmosphere (coeds, bands, student sections, etc)
- every game truly matters
- crazier offenses than in the pros
- less bullshit drama (NFL = ref controversy, TO diva antics, players arrested every 2 seconds, etc)
- my team is in the top 5, reigning Heisman QB, won title year before last, and plays in best conference
- players truly care about their team and don't get traded back and forth constantly
- more games each week

The NFL is technically played at a higher level but that often makes for uglier and less entertaining games (though not always, of course). Plus, I don't personally care about any pro teams 1/1000000th as much as my own college team, which is also where I live and go to school.

And yes, college football needs a 4 or 8 team playoff worked into the bowls.
