/sp/ would you like Gilbert Arenas on your team? Don't get me wrong, Gilbert Arenas is one of my favorite players who doesn't play for my favorite team, but I don't think I would want him on my team. I love to watch him on tv, but I would hate to go to a home game, and see him in my team's colors.

Bobcatsfag btw..

No.

hes like a poor man Micheal Redd, jacking up those three no regards for his teammate.

But he's so fun to watch
>> Anonymous
Unless you like being below .500 and choking in the playoffs every year, nobody should want him
>> Anonymous
Eh...not so sure, I too enjoy watching Agent Zero hit 27 foot jump shots. But he seems like one of those players that I would constantly complain about if he was on my team.

Streaky player. Also a volume shooter. But you will LOVE him when its the last seconds of games. He is deadly from behind the arc when he's got his stroke going. It's hard to judge now, but if he gets to 100% again, he can be a top 6-7 player in the league.

There's plenty of sub .500 teams that he could suit up for. But if it's anything like last years off season, or the mid-season deals, who know's where he might go.

He puts himself before the team, IMO. I wouldn't want him.
>> Anonymous
I'd want him on my and one team, that's about it.
>> Anonymous
If he'll be the 6th man, the Houston Rockets' /sp/ fanbase accepts him
>> Anonymous
He'll cost too much to get.

The only thing I got out of this post was:

Holy shit, there's another Bobcatsfag on here?

If I am Wizards management, I am trying to resign Antawn Jamison more than Gilbert Arenas.
>> Anonymous
What team would go for him? Like anon said, hes gonna have a big contract, and most likely want to be the guy doing the scoring load. If only Isaiah were still around, things would be so much more clearer...

>>150661
A team doesn't care about playing defense and only care about scoring, so look out for the Knicks and Warriors trying to sign him.

and denver remember they gave up 120 points to the sonics.

yeah, but the scored 168 or something like that in the process

With Gilbert, they'll score 180.
Gilbert - 60 pts
Carmello - 59
Iverson - 60
Najera - 1

Wizfag here, He has two modes: shoot, drive. No passing, no defense, still for a drama-whore he's damn fun to watch. Teams that need him are crappy teams no one cares about like the Grizzlies, Clippers, Hawks. He'll rejuvenates your franchise, just don't expect to win in the post season.
>> Anonymous
Of course you'd want Agent Zero on your motherfuckers, 27 points per game is a killer no matter how fucked up the way he gets those 27 points
>> Anonymous
i do not trust this man's knees
>> Anonymous
I wouldn't touch him at all, did you guys forget he had knee surgery, and knees are the most important to a explosive player.
>> Anonymous
how many bobcats fans are there? a lot or is it just me and the op all the time?

I dont think he would fit with my teams. The lakers have plenty of scoring guards and need fish to be the tough defender/distributor, the bobcats could use offense but i wanna wait until larry brown works with raymond felton

gil will be a clipper. the rest of you can debate how that is a good or bad thing. Elton Brand won't be a Clipper. He's prolly gonna be a Buck or whatever former Seattle team is gonna be...
>> Anonymous
>>150928

Isn't Corey Maggette a possibility to opt out? I've always thought he was wasting his talent there, can get to the line at will, learned to be a little less selfish the past year or two. Plus i'm a duke fan, want to see Brand do well too.
>> Anonymous
If the Clippers can get their core players to stay and acquire Gilbert, they will be a deadly team next season.
