How did the Americans sell them out? They were clearly in the Russians' zone of influence. Honestly, such nonsensical bitterness.

And if anything, I recall Polish units fighting in close accordance with British units more often than not. Battle of Britain, those two convoy escorts (Gnediseu or something? Not good with Polish names...) etc.

Canada actually did an assload of fighting in WWII (and WWI), considering population size.

I know Ze Germans considered the Canadian 1st division/army one of the more dangerous allied units in both wars.

Too bad the Brits continuously wasted them at battles like Passchandaele and Dieppe.

The fact they didn't fight for Nazi Germany I guess. Sweden didn't contribute to the war and was seen as "neutral", but they helped a a lot of Norwegians during the war, so they could very well be seen as an allied force in some sense.

I always assumed that the French were idiots for not thing they would be attacked through Belgium after ww1...
>> Anonymous
>>254342
Huh? The Battle of France was a replay of the War of 1870, not of WWI. It was because France WAS expecting a replay of the German massive envelopment manuever through the Low Countries in WWI that the Ardennes breakthrough cut their army in half between the Maginot Line and Dunkirk.

Incidently, in WWI, France expected a replay of the Franco-Prussian War, so they stationed all their best units in the Ardennes region and on the Saar, and attempted to retake Alsace and Lorraine and drive through towards Berlin. They would have been completely enveloped, except Belgium holding the German Army up for a week.
>> Forth Valley F.C.
>>254380

Yeah but strategically, how can you not notice the lightly defended neutral country between you and the belligerent?

Im just saying the French must have been idiotic not to expect that...
