My Fantasy Football draft is in an hour. Any last minute tips?

I already know:

1. Go QB-QB in the first two rounds.

2. Draft Kickers and Defense high because there aren't a lot of good ones.

3. Hold off on RBs because there are so many good ones, and a lot will get injured.

4. Avoid Adrian Petersen because he'll never match last season's performance.

5. Ditto for Moss.

6. Ron Dayne is this years Ryan Grant.

Draft Greg Estandia with your first pick. Proceed to win your fantasy league.

I also have Chris Perry, who I think will do well as the new Bengals starter, especially with the Bengals depleted receiving corps.

although op is trollin' trollin' uh this stupid groupthink of taking Adian Peterson and/or Ladainian Tomlinson first and second is bullshit. 1st pick should be tom brady. then LT, AP will suck this year being injured alla time. 3rd pick should be peyton manning, then you should follow shitty draft boards.

i would suggest that last year Brady made moar fantasy pts than LT and AP combined.

I think a lot of people would agree with you, and a lot of people take QBs in the first two rounds.

But in general, RBs are more valuable than QBs becauses there fewer of them, and they're more regular.

Aside from Brady (who doesn't count... guy is just a freak), there's 20-25 decent quarterbacks in the NFL, that will take 90ish% of their team's snaps, and pass for 250 yards and a TD a game. There a lot of regularity and depth at QB stat-wise.

But, running back, especially with so many backs in a running committee, theres less backs you can count on for the consistent 150 yards and a TD a game. Theres not a big jump between a first round Peyton Manning (who had 7? games of 0-1 TD passes) and a sixth round Jay Cutler, but there's a huge jump between a first round Adrian Petersen and a sixth Ladell Betts.

LT & AP have showed us nothing about resilience. Brady and Peyton have. I understand that rbs are in short supply, but if you have the first pick in any fantasy draft and do not pick tom brady, I consider you a retard. Just saying.

A good QB can carry your season. RBs can come and go.

Last year I had Brady as my QB and Rudi Johnson/Stephen Jackson as RBs. Brady was 1st round, the other two were ranked high as hell. Johnson shit a brick and Jackson got hurt. But Brady was good enough to carry my team through the first weeks. Of course I got Ronnie Brown who fucked shit up, but he got hurt too

Then about 1/3 of the way through the season, Greg Jennings (sp?), Ryan Grant, and that Graham guy from the Bucs exploded into awesome. I simply picked them up since they weren't drafted

tl;dr - RBs and WRs can and will emerge out of fucking nowhere for you during the season if you pay attention...QBs will not, fucking get a good QB in the first round or get stuck with like, Cutler (in b4 Bronco rage)

either get better at troling, or stop being so dumb

LT has been a model of consistency since entering the league
