Nobody gives a shit about the Nets. NYfag here they literally cant give away tickets to fill their arena. Everyone in NY is either a Knicksfag or doesn't give a shit about the NBA.

The Clippers deal is Zach Randolph for Cuttuno Mobley and Tim Thomas.

No Marcus Camby for you New York crappers.

>>481098
I live IN Brooklyn and I can guarantee that you have no fucking idea what you are talking about.
>> Kilgamayan !2BklmILFiE
Aren't Jamal Crawford and Stephen Jackson pretty much the same player?
>> Warriorsfag !mOntaR93q.
>>481111
no, crawford is a 1/2 jackson is a 2/3
plus crawford is a more explosive dribbler where jackson is better with his body.

Knicksfag here. you do realize none of us give a shit about this year or next year. this is strictly dumping z-bo's albatross contract. d'antoni only plays his guys mobley and thomas can ride the pine with starbury.

According to the L.A. Times, Zach Randolph and Mardy Collins have been traded to the Clippers for Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley.
This comes within one minute of us posting a Newsday story saying Randolph would not be traded today. This is the same deal originally rumored to be taking place earlier on Friday and the L.A. Times column is the only source we've seen stating that the deal is back on. While the reporter makes it sound like a done deal, we'll feel better when it's verified by a second source.

God damn.. this deal is growing out of proportion.

>The question remains, though, if James or any other free agent would consider a team led by Gallinari, Chandler and guards Nate Robinson and Chris Duhon good enough to leave where they are -- even if it is in the media capital of the world.

King James comes to New York City a.k.a. Wade County in 2010
>> Anonymous
>>481228
So he would stay in Cleveland? Really? Fact: He will go where the money is. Fact: the money will be in New York.
>> Anonymous
>>481232

He doesn't need the money, his best friend Jay-Z owns the team he'll be playing for.

Also, he would get even MORE money from endorsements and media if he played in NY, so yea, he would probably not ask for too much money in his contract, as long as he has his long-term/security aspects covered.

>Wade said earlier this week that his main consideration for 2010 is being on a winning team.

"In 2010, I'll have eight years in the league," Wade said. "I've already won a championship. I've already done a lot of great things in this game. At the end of the day, it all comes down to winning for me. It's no secret. I want to be in a place where we're building a championship team or competing (for) a championship. Hopefully, Miami's that place. That's where I live. That's where I want to be. But it's two years away, and I have a decision to make in two years."

Lol, Lebron playing for the Knicks. Thanks /sp/ I needed my laugh for the day.
>> Anonymous
Netsfags please STFU and GTFO of /sp/. There is no way in hell that LeBron would play for the Nets. Unless they find a way to build that $1 Billion dollar arena with public funding in a shitty economy, it's not going to happen.

With how bad the Knicks are, they're gonna need both Lebron AND Wade if they want to get anywhere in the playoffs.

Clipsfag here, still in WTF mode after the trade that sent Z-Bo in.

And I thought Dunleavy as GM is better than Dunleavy as coach. I guess not.

>> Anonymous
>>481699
Same Clipsfag, Knicks are obviously going for the 2010 sweepstakes, no doubt about it.

Thing is Cat and Thomas' contracts are expiring by 2010, and the Clips were positioned to get a free agent by then, and now they go into panic mode and get Randolph.

I guess the upside is that we finally kicked Thomas out.
>> Anonymous
>>481709
By free agent I mean the year where Bron Bron is free from the shackles of his hometown team along with Bosh and Amare.

For now the Clips will have Z-Bo's wtf contract expire for 2011, but we'll suck until 2011 and Dunleavy will probably press yet another panic button before that.

Now that I think about it, when the time comes and the Cavs know for sure LeBron will leave, they will most likely trade him before his contract expires.

Unless he pull some nigger shit and gives no warning and fucks the franchise.
>> Anonymous
>>481726
Maybe he'll pull a Boozer/Brand. I don't think Cavs got the balls to trade him.
