So Cowboys fans, who here is loving the look of the Cowboys defense minus Roy Williams?

So money. Packers had one big play, with that pass to Driver. And that was only because of a mixup between Pacman and Brown (3rd string saftey). I wish they'd just cut him. He only hurts them being on the field. Has zero coverage skills and poor ass tackling. The thing that really pisses me off, is he'll get a ring at the end of the year for being utterly useless and detrimental.

typical cowboys fan. probably loved how much of a big hitter roy williams was two years ago and mistook it for him being a good safety when he was shit the whole time and now you realize he's shit. Cowboys will lose to the Eagles at lincoln financial. protip

I was saying for years that Williams was a liability. If he ever did manage to catch a guy odds were 50/50 that he'd horse-collar them anyways.

Look how dumb you sound. Roy Williams was good, and then has become complete shit. So you're saying because he was good at some point, we as Cowboys fans should continue to support him despite his routinely awful playing the last couple of years? The irony of this statement coming from a butt hurt philly fan is amazing by the way.

Also, you are right, the Cowboys will probably lose to the Eagles in the last game of the year @ Philly. Why? Because the game will be meaningless for the Cowboys and they will be resting their starters.

Roy Williams was never good. He was always weak in coverage. Look how dumb you sound you fucking jackass. Most of the time the Cowboys got beat deep through the air since he's been in the league its been in his direction. Newman and Henry are pretty good, he has ALWAYS been terrible in coverage.

>>354729
so in short i'm not saying you shouldnt support him because he used to be good. Just saying that from someone who watches football he was always the weakest aspect of the cowboys defense. I can see how you mistook him for being a good safety though, you probably watch ESPN for your sports news because your clearly a toolsack

>>354732

Yeah, get mad because you know I am right. Roy Williams wasn't brought in for his coverage skills anyways, bro. He was also brought in on a 4-3 defense, and played up close to the line. With the switch to the 3-4, he found himself in more coverage situations.

Roy "Leads With My Helmet With Every Tackle" Williams

>>354737

So weak that he was the focal point of the Cowboys defense when he was drafted. The defense was built around him after his acquisition. He wasn't drafted for his coverage skills too by the way. He was drafted for his big play ability, run stopping, blitzing. Pretty sure if you "watch football" like you say you do, you would of seen this the first 3 or 4 years of his career. It wasn't until the last 3 years that his skills have substantially declined. The guy now consistently makes poor reads, bites on fakes, poor tackles, dumb fouls, etc.

So, anyways, in short, you might want to watch a little more football. You seem to lack a knowledge of the fundamentals. <3 Oh, and I watch the NFL Network for my game day coverage. You probably can't afford that with your hourly paid wage.

Roy Williams has been affected by the horse collar rule much the same way that mediocre lineman would be exposed if the NFL finally banned cut blocking.

they spend too much time circle jerking the big name markets (dallas, jew york)
dan dierdorf is the best. he was an olineman, so hes not arrogant like some overrated quarterback or some pip-squeak that only got the job because of his daddy

RAAAAAAAAAAAAGE

no but seriously, despite Madden's turducken-induced spiels Al Michaels is still the best play-by-play man in the game on TV, and Madden does at least know what he's talking about, he just has a hard time getting it out sometimes

but if you want my opinion on best current football commentator overall, my answer is JOE FUKKEN STARKEY. He does the 49ers on the radio, but you might know him better for "THE BAND IS OUT ON THE FIELD!!!"
he showed more excitement in that famous call than Joe Buck has shown in every game he has ever done combined

I could listen to Madden ramble on about cheese and the North Pole all day.

The easiest way to tell if a Cowboys fan is from Texas is their level of hate for Roy Williams.

OP is clearly from Texas

Manning drops back to pass.

Looks like he's going to be sac-- no wait, he escaped.

Throws downfield..... and Tyree makes an impossible catch.

What a fantastic play.

You left out the monotone and bias. Aikeman rules though.

No, that's better than the call he actually made.
He actually just said "and it is caught by Tyree at the [yard line]"

marv albert called that play on the international feed so much better. the world got a better call of the play than we did.

Except Aikman's reaction to Tyree's catch was (after several seconds of dead air) to laugh and then say, "How the heck did he catch that?"

Yeah, great joke Aikman.

Who cares? At least he knows football. Its better than the robot that does the play-by-play without personality or vocal inflection.

j/k I love Joe Buck, especially when he does baseball with Tim McCarver. Now that is a MUTHERFUCKING GREAT broadcast duo and sitcom: Robot and the Senile Alzheimer's Sufferer.

>>354965

aikman is good if you're a dallas fan because they generally put him on cowboys games and you can be sure that he'll be slobbering all over how good they are all game while joe buck bobs up and down on his dick occasionally pausing to remind him how awesome the cowboys were in the 90's when he was quarterback.

ugh, Joe Buck

what a fucking cake boy
