Heilman wants spot in starting rotation Metsfag No. 124968 !q2ZLb2hZmU

Aaron Heilman is demanding a trade if he is kept in the bullpen. I think this the single most selfish thing Heilman could do at this point. After putting up a stinker of a season last year, he wants to make the failpen even worse.

The balls on this guy.

The reason he isn't a starter was because he was garbage. He made 25 starts and went 5-13 with a 5.93 ERA. That isn't good.

I can't believe this fuckin' guy. He was our most steady reliever in the mess of 2007, and now he wants to send us up shit's creek.

tl;dr Heilman continues to fist fuck the Mets.

he wants to infect the starting rotation now too.

in 2010 he'll demand to bat cleanup.

His butthurt is back in full force.

Enjoy your 2009, Metsfags.

33 starts, 19-10, 4 no hitters, 2.88 ERA.

Calling it.

Trade him now, you can still probably get a bag of World Champion Tampa Bay Rays T-shirts for him.

I'd consider it a bargain.

Someone needs to post the angry metsfag .gifs from the Cubs game last year.

Philsfag here. Please keep him, Metsfags, as long as you possibly can. He is the best part of you pitching staff.

bahahahahahahahahahah

I have some good ones, but I'm saving them for next season when all the Metsfags are talking more shit about how awesome they are and need to be taken down a peg. They are funny to listen to.

The Mets won the season series against the Phillies. It's just that they couldn't beat anyone else.

And if any fanbase needs to be taken down a peg, it's phillyfags. You assholes became fans in September 2007. Remember Veteran's Stadium? Going there to boo the Phillys? Morons.

Also, Schoeneweis was one of the Mets best relievers last season. He gave up that one home run and now he gets the shit end of the stick.

Remember Shea Stadium before 2006? Sure, the Phillies couldn't sell out, but guess who are right down there with them?

Fans there to boo their own team.

The Mets have always drawn crowds, it was never a question. 2006 just helped. Trust me, I've been going to games for quite a while. It's not like the early 70s when they were so painful to watch only 15 people went to a game.

despite being in the largest U.S. city, the mets attendance was never spectacular unless they were in playoff contention. see 2004...17th in the league in attendance. 2003..16th. 2001...15th. they weren't in the top five in the league attendance until 2006, which is pathetic for a team from new york.

I know that attendance hasn't always been stellar, especially when they were mediocre at best. But that's with every team.

All I'm saying is, the people who were there went to support the team. Smaller supporting crowds are better than larger crowds there to mock their team.

Delicious butthurt is delicious.

I remember paying $12 to sit in the upper deck at the Vet to watch Chad Ogea get absolutely destroyed by the Yankees in interleague play. Hell I remember watching behind home plate as Mickey Morandini swatted a grand slam in that magical year of 1993 vs the Giants.

New York fags are pieces of shit with shitty press that baaaaws over preseason games and stupid shit. We show up to boo our own team? Fuck, at least we show up, can't say the same about NY.

>>479921

wait...mets fans don't boo their own team? i'm a yanksfag, so i get the "pleasure" of watching sny when the yanks aren't on. those fans were either booing or sitting on their hands the entire season. carlos delgado wouldn't even do a curtain call because of how mercilessly he was booed earlier this year.
>> Metsfag No. 124968 !q2ZLb2hZmU
>>479926
I'm not butthurt at all. The Mets played like dicks last year and didn't win the Division. Tough shit for me.

During the World Series, when Ruiz hit that grounder with the bases loaded and Stairs on deck, the only reason I was disappointed was because Matt Stairs didn't get to unload on one and end the game as it should have.

To be honest, I don't care what other teams do. My main sports beef is with know nothing Yankee fan friends who think the Yankees are going to sign everyone and trade for Peavy.

And I reiterate my point.
Small supporting crowd > larger antagonistic crow.
>> Metsfag No. 124968 !q2ZLb2hZmU
>>479932
Actually, if you read the interview with Delgado, he said that he doesn't do curtain calls unless he feels he deserves them.

And I go to Met games as much as I can, and I hate it when some assholes boo Delgado and/or Heilman. But when I look at who's doing it, none of them are over 16.

I love sitting in the upper deck with the veteran fans who listen to the radio and actually acknowledge good play by opposing teams and cheer on a slumping player.

The new generation of Metsfags are either lifeless or on the anti-Delgado bandwagon. That is, until he carried the Mets on his back for three months.

Ingrates.

You're a faggot who doesn't know baseball or how to be a good fan. You're probably some IRL oldfag without the balls to boo the players that suck because you don't want their ickle little feelings to get hurt. Your spineless antics are the reason the Mets fanbase sucks and knows so little about baseball.

Also, great job "closing" out the year again. Oh wait...

Being able to boo your own player is a New York trademark, embrace it, because it's awesome.

You're an idiot.

I rage like fuck. Of course I do. But I'm not some dumbfuck asshole who doesn't know how to support a team.

I boo'd Heilman. Because he was fucking garbage an ruined way too many games.

You musn't know dick about baseball yourself to accuse me.

M most vehement booing came a number of years ago when I went to a double header against the Diamondbacks. The Mets lost both games and Robby Alomar went 0-8. Of course I boo'd.

But I'm not some dipshit who shows up to boo his team.
