As a Torontonian, even I can't stand for that. Our team is made up of washed up old NFL players and young guys that couldn't make the practise squad for real NFL teams.

Yeah really

One CFL starting quarterback is JERIOUS JACKSON.

How bad is Jerious Jackson?

I'm pretty sure he once backed up Tim Couch.

CFL >>>> NFL

The Eurofags are right, the NFL is fucking slow. No one likes waiting 5 minutes in between plays

3 downs > 4 downs, it keeps the flow of the game much faster

What is it in the NFL, like 40 seconds before you are FORCED to start the play(Peyton lol), CFL has 20 seconds, again faster pace to the game.

The CFL has a wider field, more open play, faster players and QBs need to have strong arms.

CFL endzone is the size of a stadium parking lot compared to the NFLs tiny little thing. None of that out of bounds bullshit in the CFL.

Field goal scoring system is much better, within 20 yards three points, 20-40 2 points, 40+ 1 point.

Special teams in the CFL is actually exciting, none of that kicking it out of bounds bullshit, you have to return the ball(defenders have to be 5 yards back before catch) and with the giant field it means more touchdowns and big plays.

Have fun listening to John Madden filling up your 5 minutes in between plays with "BRETT FAVRE BRETT FAVRE BRETT FAVRE BRETT FAVRE BRETT FAVRE"

Have fun watching a form of football where the 'athletes' aren't conditioned well enough to play 4 downs.

Have fun watching athletes conditioned to play four downs... with 5 minutes breaks in between.

Ok, I like the CFL but if anyone thinks that it is superior to the NFL they are either trolling or retarded.

Or like watching a game that isn't as slow paced as soccer.

I went to a CFL game. I was on the sidelines of the Calgary Stampeders when they upset the Blue Bombers.

Looked to me like the CFL is a real league with real players and real competition, unlike NFL Europe or the XFL or any other crap imitation pro football league.

But, please...it's obvious you are trolling. Come on now.

Is 100% accurate in his assessment of the CFL, and in many ways it is a more entertaining game to watch if you enjoy football. But at the end of the day the best players play NFL football, so the level of competition and top tier talent make up for any perceived short comings in the flow of the game.

I like both but you're more likely to catch me tuning into a NFL game than a CFL one... unless of course they put a team in Halifax.... in which case you'll find me at the field.

Four downs is far superior. It allows for much more offensive strategy possibilities when you can run shorter-gaining plays.

The minute the Buffalo Bills become the Toronto Bills, the CFL will fold.
