Giants did not have a bandwagon.
Which was awesome because... you know... 18-1.

I hate these white suburban bandwagon fans who buy up all the tickets and rises prices. I was only able to go one game so far this because of those fags.

Read the article. It teaches you how to become a bandwagon douche, not calling all Cubs fans bandwagoners.

Bizarro Bandwagon. Mentioned in their "8 Types of Bandwagon Fans". Means you hate the best team for no apparent reason.

Also, I hate Red Sox bandwagoners. Simply because they think Bill Buckner is the worst player ever (thanks to Fox), equate the 2004 World Series to Fever Pitch, and drive up the prices for tickets to the point where it's impossible to afford them.
>> Anonymous
>>174725

and the fact that they think they're still this blue collar team coming from nothing to win against the big favorites. This combined with the fact that they became red sox fans to try and combat the bandwagoning yankee fans makes them hypocritical and just as bad.

edit for clarification:

my dad spent over a thousand dollars for 6 sets of 2 and 4 tickets. tickets that sell in any other park for about 20 bucks, he spends 50.

thats not the fans fault. its because fenway is old and small.

Ticket prices are high at Fenway because its a great place to see a ballgame, in a great location, with a great team.

Other ballparks have maybe 4,000 more seats than Fenway does, and they are lucky to sell 20,000 less than capacity on any given night.

The Angels and Marlins have stadiums with outfield seats permanently tarped over, and they aren't the only ones.

oh look it's a bandwagon fan.

That should also apply to the Red Sox and Celtics fans.
>> Anonymous
>>174777
let's imagine for the a second that fenway sat 55000. They aren't going to sell 55000 tickets at $40 per every single day. Therefore prices come down.

Hey guys what's going on in this thread?
>> Anonymous
>>174825let's imagine for the a second that fenway sat 55000.

The only difference is that the cheap seats in the back would bring the average ticket price down. The affect on the infield seating would be marginal.

Yankees have a 57,000 seat stadium, but front-row ticket prices aren't cheap there either, despite the fact they rarely have capacity crowds and its not in quite as good a location.

As a lifelong Cubs fan, I'd have to say that BSPN actually hit the nail smack on the head with this one. It makes me sad that so many people are Cubs fans because it's "trendy". Every game I go to, I'm surrounded by people talking on cell phones or to each other about shopping or some crap, not paying even the slightest bit of attention to the game. Hell, I doubt they could name more than 2 people on the team, if that many.

tl;dr - I fucking hate being lumped in with Cubs "fans".

As Brewers fans, we don't really have to worry about this.

Being trendy in Wisconsin usually means buying a cordless phone for your house.
>> Anonymous
>>174903

That, and you have a really nice stadium full of people who actually care about the game.
>> Anonymous
>>174905
Compared to Wrigley, fuck yes. Wrigley is old and historic and shit, but it's also OLD. Plus most Brewers fans are really nice people. The only time I've seen a fight at Miller Park is when the Cubs come to town and the trendy Cubs fan college students pick fights with the kids from Marquette.

My grandmother was a huge Cubs fan, but I still hate Cubs fans.
