Carragher to score the only goal. For Athletico. 1-0 Athletico.

Thank God I'm not the only one who thinks this. Why can't Aurelio start every damn game...

So far this man is right. While I don't put all the blame on Carragher, it was still mainly his fault that Atletico got through and scored.
>> Britannian Anonymous !4bbKDTSEQc
Unbelievable, Liverpool play really well and get sucker punched AGAIN! That goal was literally perfect, everything went right, the control, the pass, the first touch, the finish. Everything that could go right, did. Liverpool meanwhile have dominated, had some chances, but everything that could go wrong with those chances has gone wrong. *sigh* Fucking football...
>> Anonymous
>>452115
>Unbelievable, Liverpool play really well
This is what you call really well? Jesus christ you have low standards. Their marking on the goal was retarded. I hope they loose, and continue to loose. 'Pool need to be put back in their place. 5th in the league and no silverware.

No, it's true. Jamie Carragher is real good! At helping the other team score.
>> Britannian Anonymous !4bbKDTSEQc
>>452131
I thought that was clear from the OP...
>>452119
>>452139
Actually yeah. Against a team who've basically parked the bus, Liverpool have kept the ball, made several decent chances and until the goal kept them to one other chance (which came from a handball by Assuncao). Nearly all the game has been in Athletico's half. Granted they're not playing in Top Gear so maybe the 'really' was too much, but they're playing well.
>> Anonymous
>>452144
If they had parked the bus, they wouldn't be down 0-1. If they had parked the bus last weekend they wouldn't be down 2-1 against Spurs. Shut up, your opinion is moot because you want to suck Rafa's dick.

Liverpool deserve to be in this position, so many wasted chances, I can't say they don't deserve it.
>> Iniesta Is God
>>452144
I'm not watching the game, but this is just the most ridiculous thing ever: Liverpool playing well while Atletico parked the bus.
>> Anonymous
Liverpool are struggling to break Athetico down. One shot on target.
>> Iniesta Is God
Also, Roma just doubled their lead over Chelski.
>> Anonymous
What is 'parking the bus'? From context, I'm inferring it means to play extremely defensively, correct?
>> Anonymous
>>452187
It does indeed. It was coined by Jose Mourinho who isn't exactly an attack minded manager.

>> Britannian Anonymous !4bbKDTSEQc
Yeah Mourinho once said an opponent (might've been Liverpool actually) 'parked the bus in the goal'. Meaning they hardly attacked at all and just defended their box and goal all game.

Which is what Athletico did tonight, Liverpool couldn't break them down very well at all. Advice for those who said they couldn't have been 0-1 up if they were defensive: WATCH THE GAME.
>> Cardiff City! Anonymous
That penalty was a fucking joke. Liverpool should be out, Madrid should have won, and the referee should be banned. Fucking typical.
And he booked Aguero for kicking for the ball? What the fuck sport does he think he's refing?

small world, isn't it. looks like we're in for a tough month, don't see where our goals are going to come from, unless eddie finds his form soon the game against the jacks is a write-off
>> Cardiff City! Anonymous
>>452376
I saw the Bothroyd injury, and it looked more like to me that he didn't want to play cos we were losing. Mccormack is determined and will be back as soon as possible. One of them will be back by the Swans game I reckon, along side Eddie Johnson.

>>452532

It's cos he's a bottler. He can be a good player, when he wants to be - Other times its just like he can't be arsed, thats why we (Wolves) got rid of him. 2-0 down after 8 minutes to his old club and he just though fuck it...

>>452307

Haha...

I don't understand how the officials managed to arrive at a penalty for that. Benitez said anywhere else on the pitch it would have been a free kick so it should be a penalty - I agree with that, only the free kick should have been to Madrid.
