Get real man, while CC riding is fun and i wouldn't want to miss it, you can't tell me that it's remotely as exciting to watch as DH (i've raced and watched both).
Schladming is probably the best course on the circuit, it's the final event in a pretty close points race and Sam Hill will be out for blood on his favourite course.

i know it's mindblowing to think that sports other than football or basketball exist but yeah, it's mountain biking, down a mountain, against the clock. And it's not even extreme to the max

i never competed, but i rode down the course at mount snow the week after norba was there. as an amateur with no health insurance, it was all i could do get the fucking bike to slow down. crazy shit that unless you've done it you won't appreciate watching it.

Yeah i guess it helps to appreciate it if you're into the sport, but i still don't get how cross country mtb is an olympic event and this is not. It would add a touch of all the winter olympics time trial events that are so much fun to watch to the summer games.

Short clip for the uninitiated, epic fail at the world championships:

P.S.: The Norba series was great, when that failed the sport kind of faded into oblivion in the US

QFT it's as exciting if not slightly more than downhill skiing, which is one of the bigger events
