Plagued with injuries or what? Top 4 defensemen are out. Cleary is still out. This is getting ridiculous. We only have two players on our blue line that actually has decent NHL experience. Now we are going to have to call up a fourth defensemen from GR. Granted most of them have been playing well. Last night was a true test of all of them. Ericsson played great. He had around 21 minutes. We just couldn't catch a break. Kipper was absolutely red hot against the wings in that game.

Oh, geez, I know, and now Chelios is out too? This truly is getting to be old. Kronwall should be back in a few days, though, from what I've heard.

And, to give the Wings a little more credit for last night's game, they hit, what, three goal posts? But yeah, Kipper was amazing in net.

Yeah, thats why I thought they couldn't get a break. I'm hoping that Kronwall and Rafalski gets better soon. Hopefully they don't get many injuries during the playoffs because of all the injuries now.

What happened to Chelios?

He took a shot to the back of his leg.

Welcome to the 2005-2006 Buffalo Sabres during the Eastern Conference Finals

Except west has a harder conference.

I find the Atlantic and Northeast to be the two hardest divisions in Hockey.

Atlantic has New Jersey and Pittsburgh really close together fighting for the division while the Rangers, Flyers, and Islanders are all trying to fight for the a playoff spot.

The Northeast Division has Ottawa, Montreal, Boston, and Buffalo all fighting for a better spot in the top 8.

I find that the Northwest conference is the hardest in hockey.

Speaking of Wings tho, the Canucks and Grand Rapid s Griffins are playing.

Drake is a fucking animal. He had four teeth knocked out and kept playing. Enough of these pussy hockey players diving and faking injuries, suck it up and take it like a man.

but the other 2 are jokes. Detroit has no competition except MAYBE Nashville, and the Pacific is Dallas, Anaheim, and San Jose.

Nashville is shit. CBJ, St. Louis, and Hawks are starting to get better. Maybe next year they will actually start getting into the playoffs. CBJ has a good shot this year though.

only challenger to detroit for the cup is aneheim. east is garbage

Nashville is doing very well for what they were handed this year. Show me another 72 point team that lost its owner, and so many quality players, and is still in playoff contention? Don't worry, I'll wait.

lol no, ottowa and the Canadiens are both contenders in the east that could beat the wings. In the playoffs I could see any of the Western teams beat Detroit, I really have doubts about Detriot's ability to grind through the playoffs.

ottawa doesn't have the goal tending to be a legit contender, and i'll be damned before i let the canadiens win the cup

Nothing matters, Detroit has blown every game except the Ava's game since the All Star break. They're not going anywhere even if they are in the Playoffs.

As a Canucks fan all I have to say is deal with it.

We had to deal with our top 4 defensemen being out of the lineup for awhile and now that they're getting healthy again the team is making a turn around.

And woo Kesler. Burning the Wings badly for 2 nice goals.

Kesler played a great game. And not to really take away from your defensemen but Lidstrom, Cheli, and Rafalski are a little better than some of the ones you had taken out. Only due to experience but I'm not trying to take anything away from your defensemen being good and all.

On a side note, another strong performance by the Grand Rapids Griffins defensemen. Howard played a great game besides those two he should of had against Kesler.

It seems like every other the night the bruins lose a key player for a bit. Suck it up and move on.

Except the fact that Rafalski and Lidstrom are top 5 for points and +/- for defensemen.

Buffalo Sabres lost key players, not an owner. Sorry. Your claims are ridiculous. But Sabres are just barely making playoffs along with Nashville. And both teams are shit to what they used to be.
