Do you like the Tour de France ?
>> Anonymous
cancerboy ruled it for so long that i have no desire to watch it anymore

also, i didn't watch bikes pedalling through the mountains as much as i watched sportcenter highlights of how lance armstrong made the french cry

Team Garmin-Chipotle, the American team, is gonna whoop up on this year's tour.

Does it start in fucking France this year?
>> Anonymous
>>198060
Yeah, in Brittany.
>> Anonymous
>>198060
of course it does

they start and finish in france. when they do leave the boundaries of france is the only time they are allowed to remove the buttplugs

You really think their leader Magnus Backstedt can win the tour de france ? Heu...

Big Magnus I don't think would be their leader. and if he is that's gonig to quickly change once they get going. I'd tip David Millar or Christian Vande Velde to lead the team even though Vande Velde is a domestique. It also depends on how they perform, but I don't think Big Magnus'll do very well.

It's a weird team. Vande Velde is one of the best domestiques in the mountains and Julian Dean is one of the best lead out men for sprinters. But they are missing a strong leader which will hurt them. They'll be interesting and I'll still root for them.

Oh, I should add that they were probably aiming for Zabriskie to be the leader but he done went and got injured.

oh, i forgot that even the straight guys from france are considered faggots by the rest of the world

I would like to agree with you that the boys in Argyle are going to take it too those wankers....but I don't think so. I think this year making a few breaks and shooting for a stage win is the best they can really hope for.

**I hope I'm wrong I'm cheering for them too.

I haven't even a small idea of who is going to be the stand out. However, you can't count out Evans.

Yes I do. I'm ususally not into bike races, but I enjoy "Le tour", and I admire the atheletes for their endurance.

Wrong. Preliminary stages frequently start outside of France. This year's route means that it's all in France but on previous tours it's started in Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands. There have even been proposals for preliminary stages to happen in England and Denmark for future tours.

I'm gonna be cheering for them too but they'll be lucky to get a man of theirs into even the top 20. They just don't seem to have a really strong yellow Jersey in the bunch. But I'm hoping for a stage win or two and some break aways so they get invited back next year with a better team like how Barloword is invited back after Mauricio Soler's Polka Dot Jersey win last year.

Looks like the strongest team is once again CSC. Kurt Asle Arvesen, Norwegian Road Champion; Fabian Cancellara, World Time Trial Champion; Stuart O'Grady, 2nd in Green Jersey 4 times; Carlos Sastre, consistant top 10 finishes in the Tour de France; Andy Schleck, 2nd in the 2007 Giro d'Italia; Fränk Schleck, Luxembourg Road Champion; Nicki Sørensen, Danish Road Champion; Jens Voigt, very good overal and great domestique; and Volodymyr Hustov, whom no one cares about. That's one damn fine team, but CSC are like the Spain of football, aslways fuck up at the last minute somehow.

Well maybe. But if all them take the same drugs, it's fair again. I honestly can't see a undrugged person racing up a mountain on a bike like they do. But it's still fun to watch and a credit to our pharmaceutical industry.

not defending them in any way, i'd prefer if it was "clean"
but like other sports are any better...
i personally think nowerdays since they are always the scapegoats they are cleaner than any of the 100m sprinters or the spanish football team. as they busted that spanish doping doctor a long list of spanish football pros was on it, too.
but what happened there? nothing!
