Is Benitez reverting back to 4-4-2 with Torres and Keane up top?
His 4-2-3-1 in the last months of last season worked pretty well, but left room for only Torres as centre forward, with Crouch as benchwarmer.
>> Anonymous
I hope Benitez gets into a car crash and dies, have you seen the liverpool squad, its ridiculously bloated and he wants to buy more players. the 4-2-3-1 worked really wel llast year, why change somethings that works.
>> Anonymous
This is shocking. Keane was a Spurs bloke, through and through. Only last season he said and I quote, "I'de like to finish my career here at Spurs". Now he's on the first ticket out to the fucking Scuzz? *sigh* I'm disappointed... We better get some GOOD money for our two goal scorers :(

nothing is surprising anymore. look at friedel going to villa as an example. players will move, that's just the way it is.

In fairness to Friedel, Ince did put him up for sale on condition that Blackburn could sign another keeper.

keane+torres = lots of goals ^_^

apparently he's been a life long Liverpool-fan

Robert keano, liverpool's number 7

Will he get the 7? Better to sell Voronin and give him the 10

LOL I SURE HOPE KEANE DOESN'T PICKPOCKET FROM THE BODIES OF DEAD FANS IN A TRAGIC AND HILARIOUS SPORTING DISASTER

Most Irish people suspiciously seem to support Liverpool and Celtic.
>> Life-Long Liverpool Fan? Anonymous
I think it's more likely that he just wants to play in the CL and actually have a shot of winning awards and the league and such... Torres had a good season but the Reds will be even more deadly with a Torres/Keane partnership.
>> King Motherfucking Billy
>>223786

I predict Torres will have a crappy season plagued by injury while Keane will underperform spectacularly.

Eventually they will even play Kuyt.

Fucking micks, stealing our teams. Go pick some fucking spuds.

ARGH FUCKING SCOUSE CUNTS, THE KOP WILL FALL DOWN AND U WILL ALL DIE !

>>223788

At least that pony-tailed faggot Voronin will stay on the bench. As untalented as Kuyt but lazy to boot.
>> Cheers Fat Rafa
and many thanks to spurs for selling keane, now hopefully he'll forget about Barry, he's staying with us.

until his contract runs out next season villafag

>>222986

Because if Torres breaks and ankle, Liverpool is FUCKED. Do you not understand that?
>> Anonymous
>>223809

yeah, enjoy your Barry, who clearly wants to GTFO from Aston Villa and will "accidentally" own goal in front of the Kop next season.

Just fucking sell him, MON you moaning cunt.
>> Anonymous
dont forget
keane can play right wing as well
or he can play attk mid and gerrard on right
good to have more options anyway and 2 strikers is better against crapper teams
all we need now is david silva, leave barry to rot at AV

>>223783
United and Sunderland have a lot of Irish fans. This is to do with Sunderland practically being what Liverpool is Spain, they are to Irish.. We until they sign the rest of Spurs. And of course a lot of it is down to the real Keane.
>> Anonymous
the squad is bloated but hopefully some will leave

vorinin finnan and beneyoun if we get silva
>> Anonymous

If Liverpool really wants Silva, this summer is the moment, Valencia is pretty fucked up with his stupid directives and they need money to pay the cuotes of the team in December.
>> Anonymous
bloated squad? lol what?

we sold like 11 players to get keane
>> Anonymous
Heh, usual Benitez here, spending first rate money on second rate players while aiming for first rate trophies.
>> Anonymous
silva is way too lightweight for the pl
>> Anonymous
I'm looking forward to seeing Crouch and Defoe next season, any money they BOTH score more than Keane at a fraction of the price.
>> Anonymous
crouch and defeo? the strikers that no one really wanted? keane is better than both of them put together, easy!
>> Anonymous
>>224928

They're no worse than Keane, you'd think Benitez would know what a world class striker looks like by now, but apparently not.
>> Anonymous
Who knows if Keane will even be up front with Torres?

Hell, Babel and Kuyt are both natural strikers and benitez made them play the wing. He might just take Kuyt's job

Robbie Keane is Señor Golasso

hes such a natural finisher, is a smart player, creates and provides goals. having him with Torres up front, Liverpool now have two of the best strikers in the world up front. a 4-4-1-1 would make the most sense, with keane playing in the hole behind the target man torres. keane has an awesome shot and can score from outside the box all day. he can also run at defenses and make defenses cringe.

I just wish that the scousers had a more creative midfield. mascherano is aweosme, and he is your holding midfielder with a hard side. but they need someone outside of the most overrated player in the premiership, steven gerrard.

he just gets super hyped up all the time by the media sucking liverpools dicks, even though they havent won shit domestically in almost three decades.

mabye keane can change that
>> Anonymous
>>225024

We have Xabi Alonso, but after that, you're right, we have no midfield.
>> Anonymous
lol, supposedly keane has been a life long celtic fan, but anyone knows that there was zero chance of him moving to glasgow, despite being continually linked with the club since his days at inter. but keane has been around the block and it seems hes a lifelong fan of whomever hes playing for at the moment.
>> Anonymous
>>225024
He's not that good mate. He is good yes but nothing the CL hasn't seen before. Will be interesting to see how him and Torres work with each other. However, what is most likely is that Benitez will not play him/play him on the wing/play him instead of Torres.
>> Anonymous
>>225031

if benitez plays keane on the wing, he needs to become an hero.

4-4-1-1 or 4-4-2 makes the most sense. but since liverpool's midfield sucks, i could envisage something like a 4-3-2-1 but thats REALLY dependent on whether or not alonso leaves, and if liverpool get gareth barry. you could have gerrard and mascherano as your central defensive midfielders, play barry in the center mid like he has for england. Alonso is your attacking mid, Keane is your center forward, and Torres is the striker up front.

but the other thing though is that 4-3-2-1 requires natural midfielders, not strikers played on the wing
