There still near the top of that division and the afc east is all in the air. Pats have as good a chance as anyone to win that division

Does anyone else think the jets made a mistake by releasing penington? Sure they got farve but he's going to retire soon and look at what penington is doing in miami,
he has the highest completion % in NFL history and he played for the jets for his entire time in the NFL

I've become somewhat of a Dolphins fan this season. It's nice to know there's at least one team in the NFL now that's willing to try new things and take some risks.

I don't think they made a bad decision, they were ready to move on from Penington regardless of who stepped in. He had constant injury problems and wasn't taking the team to the next level. Also, noodle arm.

I'd say another big change that should be mentioned is the Titans. I don't think anyone would have predicted their surprising start, especially if you said Keri Collins would be leading the way.

You dont need an arm to run a west cost style O
also i'll say it again
highest completion % in NFL history
how do you not win games if you have this stat

I predict a mid season choke for the titans they will make the playoffs but wont win there division

By making all of those completions for less than three yards.

Sure seems to be working so far for the Dolphins. But hey, why keep a solid performer when you could cash in for an overrated sandy vagina who has thrown the most interceptions in the history of the league. I don't know who they think they're kidding thinking they're going to make a superbowl run.

I love Chad, I still hate the Jets, and I'll laugh when they realize how shit they're going to be next year. Do they think Kellen Clemens is going to be their future? After Brett costs them their wildcard playoff game this year and realizes football is shit if it's not in Wisconsin, they're going to be back in the same position they were last year, except worse, because they're not going to have Chad.

Like his two touchdowns for 80 and 55 yards this Sunday right? If the pass defense didn't shit themselves on that last drive against the Texans he would be sitting on a winning record on a team everyone thought was worst in the NFL coming into the year.

>>405100
Pennington didn't throw the ball 80 or 50 yards. He just threw it 20-30 yards and Patrick Cobbs did the rest.
>> Anonymous
And yet facts are facts, they lost to the Texans.
>> Anonymous
>>405122
That's still a 20-30 yard pass and a first down if Cobbs caught it and immediately fell on his ass. He doesn't need a cannon arm to win games is my point. He can throw it far enough and make excellent decisions.
>> michael moses !!6nOq0Y/J8jv
The truth is, we were too good, and that's why we lost. We scored too damn fast.
>> Anonymous
>>405167
Nah, Texans beat us and that is all there is too it. Did we score too fast? Probably, but seriously as a fan I can't very well wish that my team slowed down the points.

Honestly if the pass defense would have stopped that 4th and... 15? Where Texans wide receiver "I don't remember his name as I'm posting I am getting ready to go to Wendy's soon so choose not to go to nfl.com on my slow ass laptop" made that acrobatic as hell catch we would have won.

It was a close game, 'Fins definitely have a lot of improving to do, but I still can't be disappointed with the direction the team is going.

The points are points, wanting your team to burn time on offense so you defense has an easier time doesn't make you less of a fan.

Not saying I am, or you are. Just saying I'm really not going to complain that the Dolphins scored when they did. There were other things we could have done to win the game... like tackle during the punt they ran back for a TD.
