>blocking WR
I'm pretty sure that wide receivers were made to receive, not block. Yes, it is great to have a WR who can block as well as catch, but blocks don't exactly compute as a job made for a receiver.
>Will be in the top 10 in receptions and well over 10,000 yards by the time he retires.
He's 27th all time in receptions right now, and about 900 yards off of 10,000 receiving yards. I could see him cracking 10,000 but he needs at least another 150 receptions to break into the top 10, and that's barring the possibility that Torry Holt or Tony Gonzalez crack it as well (which they most likely will). Even if he does both, it will be more due to longevity.
>He also has a SB MVP and multiple all-pro/pro-bowl appearances.
Cool. So does Mark Rypien, Richard Dent, Desmond Howard, Terrell Davis, Larry Brown, and quite a few others. None are in the Hall of Fame.
>He is also an extremely high profile philanthropist; His work for mixed race children in Korea.
Being a nice guy and playing football are two different things.
Look, I'm not saying it's impossible for Ward to make it into the Hall of Fame, but I'd probably choose Moss, and TO over him right now.
