Listen, you stupid team. Pick Beasley. With Rose you just become a slightly better jump shooting team. With Beasley you can actually get a post player. Don't fuck this up, though I'm sure you will.
>> Anonymous
Kirk Hinrich isn't THAT bad. Tyrus Thomas is.
>> Anonymous
they said beasley is from the chicago area too, so it would be a good fit

hopefully, whoever the bulls pick ends up sucking like quame brown
>> Anonymous
It was kinda sad seeing the T-Wolves guy lose. When they announced him as #3 and he let the Teddy Bear sag..
>> Anonymous
bulls suck, why did they get 1st pick? needs more warriors so they can whoop mavs ass again.
>> Anonymous
It's awesome that now the Bull's can make it to the playoffs again as long as they get Beasley. They desperately need a guy who can score loads of points.

Think of poor little Billy in the hospital room. Oh! His beloved T-Wolves got in the top three! As ESPN goes to commercial he thinks of the ramifications. This could make up for all of those tedious months of cancer. Surely this is a sign from god that better things are on the horizon! They come back and... #3. 1 pick away.

they should do the lotter differently

post ends in 00-20 picks for shittiest team, 99-100 least shitty team in lottery

lol Bulls draft. Let's look at their recent history, shall we?

'06 LaMarcus Aldridge
'04 Ben Gordon
'02 Jay Williams
'01 Eddy Curry
'00 Marcus Fizer

Only one of those highly-drafted guys is still on the team, and he stinks like shit.
>> Anonymous
>>108470
Regardless if they get Michael Beasley he will not stink like shit and he will be dominant. Apparently you haven't heard of him. lol
>> Anonymous
>>108473
Somebody like Beasley comes across every year. Chances are either Beasley or Rose will be good, not both.
>> Anonymous
I don't understand this lottery thing. The Heat had the worst record yet they don't have the first pick?

Help me out here /sp/.
>> Anonymous
>>108491
It's basically what it says it is...a lottery.

Instead of the worst record automatically getting the first pick and so on and so forth, It's basically pulling team names out of a hat to determine who goes first. However, the worse your record is, the higher the chance of your name getting picked out first.
>> Anonymous
>>108491
If you don't make the playoffs, you get an invitation to the draft lottery. The worst records have higher chances for the top 3 picks. Everything after the top 3 goes in order from worst to best. Here were the odds this year out of 1000:
2008 LOTTERY CHANCES
(out of 1000)
1. Miami Heat (250)
2. Seattle Supersonics (199)
3. Minnesota Timberwolves (138)
4. Memphis Grizzlies (137)
5. New York Knicks (76)
6. LA Clippers (75)
7. Milwaukee Bucks (43)
8. Charlotte Bobcats (28)
9. Chicago Bulls (17)
10. New Jersey Nets (11)
11. Indiana Pacers (8)
12. Sacramento Kings (7)
13. Portland Trail Blazers (6)
14. Golden State Warriors (5)
>> Anonymous
>>108495
I see. Exactly why do they have a lottery in the first place? The worst team should get the first pick. That would make more sense.
>> Anonymous
>>108470

'06 LaMarcus Aldridge
'04 Ben Gordon
'02 Jay Williams
'01 Eddy Curry
'00 Marcus Fizer

That seems like shitty management rather than shitty players. The better players they draft end up getting traded!

>> Anonymous

No, Beasley is from D.C.

I go to Kansas State. I went to every home game this year and a few away games. Beasley is as dominant as anyone in the draft. He does everything, he could play the point for fun if he wanted to. Great hands, Rodman-like rebounding, and a sweet shot. Even in games we lost he would score 30+. Chicago will fail is they don't pick him. Chicago isn't in need of a point guard THAT bad that they need to take Rose. Let him go be in that clusterfuck in Miami.
>> Anonymous
>>108581
>I go to Kansas State.

So you're completely objective here...

What the Bulls REALLY need is a center but I will SHIT if they don't take Rose because Duhon and Hinrich are utter failures at everything but they have plenty of decent young SF/PFs.
>> Anonymous
>>108561
Just b/c the top 2 picks were clearly in a class of their own does not mean it was a 2-man draft. It was arguably a deeper draft than 2003.

LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh, Josh Howard, David West

Dumb reasons. I'm not even going to address the thing about how Rose was born in Chicago, because I have an idea that you already realize that that is a stupid reason to draft someone. I'll address the age thing: they're both 19.
>> Anonymous

in a way no, in a way yes. Basically I've seen the kid play 20 some games in person, and he just does things I see few people do.

Beasley. He can shoot hoops in Noah's mouth for practice.

Rules of Top 5 Drafting:

Don't pick a white guy
Don't pick a foreigner
Don't pick a hotshot shoot only college player like A.Morrison or Redick.

The Bulls are overcrowded at guard and forward. All with crappy players. As the team stands now the starting five would either be
Noah
Beasley
Deng
Hughes
hinrich

or

Noah
Nocioni
Deng
Hughes
Rose

I would rather take my chances with the second bunch. Hinrich is the most overrated piece of crap and will NEVER lead a team to a title. Period.

I wish you were right, being a life long Bulls fan, but I think it's more than around the corner. Look at how long we had Jordan before the Bulls made it to the Finals. Be patient, we'll get there again. Fucking Chicago sports teams being tight-wad cheap asses is getting old.
>> Anonymous
>>110994
How are our teams cheap? The Sox have the 5th highest and the Cubs are at 7. The Bears were at 11 last year. The Bulls are down at 22, but its the same guy in charge of them and the Sox. The Hawks are irrelevant. So in the two best sports, we are spending plenty of money.
>> Anonymous
>>111005
Not wisely. Anytime we bring someone up who develops into a franchise player they are sold off. And (minus the Cubs) you won't see the Sox, Bulls, or Bears fork out good money for a seasoned star player. The Sox off season was good for the guys who stayed but their trades were trash minus Quentin. They could have got some good players but they decided to keep Dye, Konerko, Thome, and Pierzynski who are all on the downside of their careers because it was just cheaper.
