Veteran forward Gary Roberts won't be returning to the Pittsburgh Penguins, according to his agent.

Agent Rick Curran told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that Roberts, 42, was parting with the club amicably.

Curran said Roberts is healthy and wants to continue his NHL career. The Toronto native has 434 goals and 469 assists in 1,194 career regular- season games with Pittsburgh, Florida, Toronto, Carolina and Calgary.

While the Penguins have a bright future after an appearance in the Stanley Cup final, which they lost to the Detroit Red Wings, Shero is looking to lock up young stars Evgeni Malkin and Jordan Staal to long-term deals.

Forwards Marian Hossa and Ryan Malone have already indicated that they will test the free-agent market come July 1.

Pft, CB doesn't come around anymore since the Penguins lost, despite saying that he wouldn't run away like a little pussy.

Stop feeding the biggest troll in /sp/orts history plox.

Also, he's technically only 0-1 right now though 0-3 is very likely.

Also, lol at Roberts thinking he can still play.
