Tom Brady: System QB or heart of the Patriots offense?
>> Anonymous
Clearly the heart.

It's not even close either, Pats are undefeated and looking like a shoe in if he doesn't get hurt.

system heart of the patriots offense.

can i has be a heartz of the offense too?

Tom Brady's not a system QB. He IS the system.

The Patriots are an absolute joke without him, the defense is playing like shit and Matt Cassel couldn't pump fake my grandma. There's no inspiration or fire without him leading them.

There was no question the Patriots were going to win their division and little argument against them getting to another superbowl.

Then Brady was lost and they lost to the Dolphins. THE FUCKING DOLPHINS! At home! They would have been, nay, SHOULD have been undefeated until now with Brady.

BOY IT SURE IS ESPN IN THIS THREAD

in all fairness to matt cassel, he only knew he was the starter after week one. any quarterback has to be expected to do poorly if they dont have the entire offseason to prepare with the first stringers.
just look at favre and manning: they both missed alot of preseason and did poorly in their first few games.

just look at his superbowl years statistics. good, respectable, but not great. they mostly played, as an offense, not to lose. ive always said that it was the pats defense that won them those championships.

>the pats defense that won them those championships
did i just see a maddenism?

2001-2003 Brady was a glorified game manager, but he did it when it mattered. The Brady of the last 5 years is a machine.

Nope. Cheating got them those Super Bowls.
Current Pats: old Defense is old...

The facts speak for themselves. When the Patriots were allowed to cheat, they won games. After they got caught cheating, they lose. Coincidence? I think not.

ah yes - moss with no superbowl hopes = c-c-c-c-c-cancer!!111

Well, they did win 18 games without using the video camera. That's more than anybody else did without it, now that nobody can do it.

Week 1, at the end of the first quarter. Clearly didn't affect the game much.

The Patriots even with Brady struggle against the Dolphin, btw.
