>>443797 well, that's really up to you. if you're more than a casual fan, you know at least something about other teams. pay attention to the teams the stars play, look past them being "the enemy" and see which teams' playing style and players you like. DON'T go by statistics. pick a team because you LIKE THE WAY THEY PLAY, not because they're #1 on nhl.com this week. do you watch games that don't have the stars in them? if you don't do that, start doing that. it's the best way to start forming opinions on teams. my absolute #1 favorite team is the minnesota wild, because their defense, when they use it, is spectacular. their PKs are awesome. and [and i am guilty of a bit of home-team hypocrisy here] because the houston aeros [who i've supported since i was a kid] are the farm team for minnesota, so when my boys grow up, they go to minnesota. but even the guys that DIDN'T come from houston, i love. my name is a reference to minnesota's #24, derek boogaard. he's 6'7", over 250lbs, and a mean motherfucker. he's one of the exceptions for minnesota. mostly they play a clean game, which i like, which is why i'm not a red wings fan [for example]. i'm also a huge colorado fan.
tl;dr - if i told you what team you should like, you'd be switching from one stupid reason for liking a team to another. it's gonna take some time and effoer to figure out which teams you like.
