>>20997 'having the best car is useless without the best driver' Maybe so, but when all the (Ferrari) team works exclusively for a driver to win, that's when the sportsmanship dies. What was Enzo Ferrari's motto? The best drivers on the best cars. Even if Schumacher was good, he didn't have to prove that to any of his teammates, all allowing him to take the glory by contract (Irvine, Rubinho and Massa, even if Felipinho has shown that he's fast) Don't belive me? EG: Alonso has shown Fisico's ass almost all his time on Renault, Hakkinen and Jaques Villeneuve did the same with Coulthard, Senna and Berger drove the hell out of each other in McLaren. All of them were champions that battle against ALL THE PACK WITHOUT HAVING CONTRACTS THAT SAID "YOUR 2ND WILL HELP YOU OUT ALL YEAR"
'If anyone matches that in the next 50 years, they will surely achieve simlar legend status.' Why wait? Alonso, Raikkonen or maybe Kubica later have the guts and the hability do do that in a couple of years.
>>21035 That's a real fact.
