Who else remembers this amazing game? I used to do drafts in the franchise mode with all the unlockable players and one time I ended up with Ruth, Gehrig and Foxx. Each of them hit 50 home runs during the season. I really miss this game and I wish EA would some how get the license back because the 2K games suck and The Show, while decent, has several flaws.

hasn't played MVP 05 which is a great game regardless of who is on the cover.

If you're that anti-Boston, MVP 04 has Pujols on the cover, but it has the Expos instead of the Nats and it doesn't have that hitter's eye feature, other than that its still the same great game.

I loooooooved MLB 04 (not OP, not ^thisfag).

My only beef was that Lefties couldn't hit homers for shit, and I exploited the hell out of that vs. the computor.

Really great game though, I'd support EA getting back into the sport. I don't mind 2k8 for now. Gets the job done, even if online is UTTER SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK ITS SO BAD

The Show is great at times but it really feels like the game just pulls bullshit at times to make you lose
Especially with the bad strike calls, I know it happens in real life but fuck, it's a vidya, don't make it call balls when the pitch is obviously a strike. Every game it seems like half the lines coming from the commentators are about terrible strike calls. I also rage about how players will often run right past ground balls instead of trying to field them sometimes, and fucking slow lob throws when I'm trying to turn a double play. Also hitting is really hard but pitching is really easy so all my games are like 1-0. Actually it feels like I lose 90% of the time when I give up a home run in the 9th inning of a 0-0 game.

MVP 2004 had my hometown announcers Kruk and Kuipe (San Fransisco Giants), and they actually had players representing them in the Giants' AA franchise.

Played all the Minor league games until they both made it to the big show. :) Very cool touch for bay area sports fans.

Also, GG signing Ricky Henderson to your AA team and just fucking raping.

The Show is way better than MVP baseball. It just sucks that it's only on sony, but for PSP it rules.
