Isn't it sad when I, a Patriots fan, am so happy that they will be horrible, just because the fans have become insufferable idiots who don't know that the Patriots were historically a mediocre at best team? That Tom Brady wasn't always the QB, and we actually made it to the Super Bowl with Drew Bledsoe? That there was a time not so long ago when they really did play in Foxborough, and NOT Gillette Stadium? I find it sad. Sad that rooting for the team I grew up watching lose has become 18-1*, and a focal point for people who just want to be with the "in" team, the winners. As soon as that team starts to lose, they move on to the next winning team. Here is hoping the Patriots don't make the playoffs this year.

Does anyone even realize the Patriots have sold out every home game since Bob Kraft bought the team?
>> Anonymous
>>321336
Yeah, I remember all those things. And I wouldn't trade what either team has done, even with the crappy fans. If you can't suffer the bandwagoners, at the cost of your teams sucess, then you don't deserve to call yourself a fan.

On the Subject, the Pats should still make the playoffs. The Jets and Bills might try and challenge, but until I see more then one game, I don't want to hand the division over to them. Pats still have a decent defense, and the offense could prove to be as good if Cassel doesn't suck. If he does suck, useing the running game more should set up a decent offense atleast, especially if Moss shoulders a Load. But it ain't looking good.
>> Anonymous

>still have a decent defense

Cassel sucks, they're going to need to pound the ball with their trio (soon to be quartet) of average to good halfbacks. Maybe a couple play action passes to Moss, but from now on they're a defensive team and that's exactly how I want it.
