Now, I know we kid around a lot about Mid Major conferences being as good as BCS conferences, but there comes a point when one has to wonder... is C-USA better than the ACC?
>> Anonymous
If ECU beats NC State and Virginia, I don't see why not.

Somebody post all the C-USA teams and ACC teams so we can do that lame "going down the list vs." thing.

C-USA has a chip on its shoulder, and has that basketball money to trickle down. The ACC has been shitty the last couple of years, and Wake Forest has been their best team... Wake Forest, whose home stadium seats 30,000.

If there were a year where the C-USA champ finishes the season higher ranked than the ACC champ, this would be it.

But it's not likely. At least one ACC school padded their schedule enough to avoid this, I'm sure.

C-USA is the fifth best conference this year imo. Big East and ACC are shit.

Tulsa, UCF and ECU would easily win either of those two conferences.

Southern Miss, ECU, Tulsa... and those are pretty much all that I'll really give credit to CUSA for. 'Course, all ACC has is maybe Miami, FSU, and Wake Forest.

Top to bottom? No.

But they've always rated ahead of the WAC, and this is the year they prove it in the national rankings. Their champion plays an SEC team in December, we'll see how that goes.

The champion will be playing in Glendale in January.

BYU vs. ECU in Fiesta Bowl

gets lowest rating for BCS bowl ever

BCS dodges a bullet by making two BCS busters play each other

The BCS is irreparably skewed because of big-school bias. Even if ECU goes undefeated, they won't get a chance to play for the title.

Maybe because they play in a conference made up mostly of shitty teams. That's why we have "BCS Conferences"

83-10.

That's right. 83-10. That was the final score as, fresh off their upset of the Texas A&M Faggies, the new and improved Arkansas State Red Wolves (formerly Indians) took care of business THE WAY YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO AGAINST LESSER COMPETITION by assraping Texas Southern.

Meanwhile, at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, the supposedly mighty SEC member Arkansas Razorbacks needed a late touchdown pass and then a missed field goal to squeak by Louisiana-Monroe 28-27 -- this coming a week after the Hogs could only beat Western Illinois by four.

A-State could easily lose its next three games. However, I give you all a George Zimmer in that, on October 11th, the Red Wolves will beat ULM like a red-headed stepchild and continue to make the Hogs and Petrino look like total fail...I GUARANTEE IT.

college in Arkansas = high school anywhere else

If ECU goes undefeated, they'll probably get in the title game, because these two wins will shoot them into the top 15. Every week they win against fail, they'll move up as other teams lose. It can easily happen
