ITT: Your first games

I seem to remember going to a Celtics game sometime in early 1995/1996. They lost to the Hawks, I think.

My first Red Sox game was in late June, 1997. I am unsure which game it was, but it was against the Tigers and I think they lost.

My first Patriots game was an exhibition game in 2002, the first game that was played in Gilette Stadium. They won 16-15 against the Eagles.

Bruins... sometime when I was 8 or 9.

I went to a Brewers game back in like... '92, when they had Robin Yount and Paul Molitor

They lost 12-1 to the Blue Jays, who I think ended up winning the World Series

I still haven't gone to an NBA or NFL regular season game, only preseason games :<

NHL: Red Wings @ Sharks.
MLB: Technically Dodgers @ Giants, but the first involving my team (the Angels) was A's @ Angels.

Picture related.

I only went to the game because they were good, after they won the 2004 World Series I've been a diehard fan.

-Dodgers when I was...10 or something. My family went because it was Korean Appreciation Day or something, but Chan Ho Park didnt pitch that night.

-USC in 2001. First time I actually watched a full football game and I had seats right behind the field goal posts too. Awesome

Still waiting on those Lakers tickets

When I moved to Colorado from San Jose, my first game was the Rockies vs Giants. Rockies won that one. Go Rockies!

In 95, I went to the first ever Colorado Avalanche game against the Red Wings. I was so excited that we finally had a hockey team, and it was even better that we won.

I don't remember my first Nuggets game. It was when Dikembe Mutombo was on the team, though. I haven't been to a Nugget game (Or basketball game) since.

My first Bronco game was their playoff wildcard against the Jaguars during their Super Bowl run and eventual victory.

- First Red Sox game was in early '97. Clemens pitched and they beat the Orioles

- First Patriots game was the Sunday night game vs. the Cowboys where everyone made a big deal about Belichick vs. Parcells. Pats won 12-0.

- Can't remember my first Celtics game

- First college football game was Saturday. Maryland beat Delaware 14-7.

Mets/Cubs at Shea, sat in the Mezzanine behind home plate. Don't remember much more than the Cubs won.

My second game was more memorable. 1990 Rusty Staub BBQ in the picnic area. Keith Hernandez was hurt that year with a kneecap injury so he was at the BBQ signing autographs. He signed my program (which I wound up losing years later).

The Mets played the Pirates and it went into extra innings, game went on through 1 AM until Dave Magadan hit a solo walkoff HR. That was an epic day at big Shea for this particular youngun'

MLB: Braves-Reds way back in the day, early 90s, Fulton County Stadium, Steve Avery was the starter. Bout all I remember was Deion got on 1B bot 9th in a 2-2 game, was fucking with the pitcher/cather, faking steals & such. So they kept throwing over, one got away, Primetime advances all the way to 3rd, Ron Gant sac flies him home next pitch, fireworks, ballgame ^__^ !

NHL: Thrashers'/Philips Arena inaugural season, Red Wings crush em like 7-1 yet no one was really sad about it, everyone appeared to be having a good time... yay hockey, yay Yzerman! I've since been to roughly a half a dozen more games... and yet to see ATL win in person, even the yr we made the playoffs ;_;

NFL: Inaugural season of GA Dome, Deion comes out dancing in the smoke... I honestly remember nothing else about it, other than the Falcons lost... to the Saints, lol. I was too busy opening packs of SkyBox basketball cards from the waxbox my cousin just gave me for my b-day to remember the shit game, heh. FUCK YEA ALL THREE PIECES OF THE BARCELONA DREAMTEAM SET !!1

NCAAFB: UGA, so young I don't remember, probably been to triple digit games or close to it by now. First remember back when we sucked & you could almost always score FREE tix if you knew folks, now scalpers want $100/ticket to shit games like GA Southern... well fuck you bandwagon niggers, break back out your Florida State gear again you glory hunting faggots, where were ya in the Ray Goff era?! D:< Also been to most every other sport on campus dozens of times, from hoops & baseball to girls' gymnastics & soccer... mmmm, tanned & toned barely legal bodies w/ bouncing ponytails, FTW.

Went to a Royals game as an infant in 1985. Shit my pants. Ruined my parents day cause they forgot diapers. fail.
Went to the final four in 1988, still too young to remember.
Went to Old Trafford and Wembley at 12. Epic.
Multiple college football games/Big 12 championships/Fiesta Bowl while in college. Mostly epic.

I loved going to see the Vipers. I was there when they won the Turner Cup and for the game where Gordie played a single shift. They should have put him in for the shoot out.

NHL: 1997, Wings vs. Mighty Ducks, Ducks won 2-1 in OT.

NFL: 2002?, Lions vs. Redskins, Lions lost (duh).

MLB: 2008, Tigers vs. Indians, Tigers won 8-2.

First Pro game ever was a Tiger's game at Tiger Stadium. They beat the Orioles, and I saw Cal Ripken play, which made me super excited.
First College Game- OU/Texas Tech when OU won the Nat'l Championship that season.
Never been to a pro football game :'(

Old Tigers Stadium: Tigs vs. Indians, random year in the early to mid nineties. Lost, as usual.
Joe Louis Arena: Random exhibition game, Red Wings vs. Capitals in 1993.
Ford Field: This year actually, Exhibition Lions vs. Giants. Won

I have never been to a Pistons game, but I have been to the Palace on many occasions for the afore mentioned Detroit Vipers. I remember fans heckling Fedor Fedorov for not being as good as his brother Sergei.

>My first hockey game was with the Detroit Vipers
Shit, they were my first hockey game too. I don't remember anything from before I was 10 so I don't recall much, but apparently we were visiting my uncle.

My first baseball game was an El Paso Diablos game.

New Mexico is such a shitty place for sports.

I havn't been to a Michigan State game(any sport) yet but I have been to about 4 UofM football games, including the recent opener against Utah... bleh...

The only pro football game I've been to was last year at Ford Field when the Lions had that overtime win against the Vikings in week 2. That was pretty exciting. Highlight of the night was when Kitna passed the ball to himself for a 9 yard pass/reception 1st down

First Blue Jays Game: I was like 2 and didn't know what the fuck I was doing.

First Raptors game: It was like 1997 and it was played in the SkyDome. Everyone made a big deal because the Bulls and Jordan were coming to town. I'm pretty sure we won.

First Patriots game: Last year in Buffalo. I live too far away to go with any sort of regularity.

First Ticats game: Labor Day Classic when I was an infant.
