Tom Haudricourt Defines Shithead HKK !h7MHU9L/Oo
http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/34594194.html

Everything that is wrong with the BBWAA can be summed up just by reading the above article. People this fucking dumb are the ones deciding the awards and the Hall Of Fame. Yes, this idiot actually voted Fielder ahead of Pujols for NL MVP and that fact will be in the record books forever.

Tom Haudricourt is a beat writer for the Brewers. Of course he's a fucking homer.

Hanley Ramirez=best player in the NL east

Not only is he a homer but he actually voted Aramis Ramirez ahead of Albert Pujols, too. This guy had Pujols seventh(!!!) on his ballot.

I just threw the Ryan Howard picture up there because I know it would attract morons like yourself to the thread. Looks like it did it's job.

So if he's using playoffs as an indicator of MVP, how is Carlos Delgado more valuable than Albert Pujols?

Because this guy is so fucking dumb he doesn't pay attention to his own rules. This guy has a say in every award and the Hall of Fame.

Good for the Phillies. They had a talented overall roster and deserved to win the World Series. I just think Phillie fans are asshole idiots and Ryan Howard is vastly overrated.

TRUE FACT: The Phillies don't win any of their playoff series if Carlos Ruiz didn't become the 2nd coming of Carlton Fisk.

Seriously, Carlos Ruiz was the best hitter the Phillies had in the playoffs. You could make a good argument that he should have been world series MVP, but he wasn't awarded because Hamels had a perfect record in the post season, and Ruiz wasn't a white scrappy shortstop named David Eckstein. Instead, he's a great defensive catcher who played over his head at the best possible time.

One of the main problems of Awards voting is that the BBWAA, which is composed mainly of dinosaurs and idiots, has a monopoly on it. Seeing them choose Albert Pujols was a pleasant surprise, really.

Don't worry, they'll vote K-Rod for MVP tomorrow.

Actually, it's just September stats for players on contending teams. Otherwise, check out the stats from August 1 on:

Manny: .396/.489/.743
Pujols: .363/.461/.725
Howard: .276/.370/.638
Delgado: .292/.371/.569

Andre Ethier would seem to be a top-5 candidate using his system, but he probably credited Ethier's performance to Manny.
