Peyton can right now, at this current time be considered the top mind among quarterbacks. We can judge his play at the end of his career.

Yea he is, top 5 easily. This coming from a Packfag.

Once you start getting down to the top 3, it's all arguable on the order, but usually people with common sense can at least agree on who belongs in the discussion.

As much of a mark as I am for the Broncos, Elway is overrated.

Pic related.

Well Peyton is certainly up there, and I'd say he is as good if not better than Brady. But c'mon, seriously. Unitas. Marino. Namath. Montana. They may not all be better than Manning, but all of them (including Favre, Aikmen and a few others) have a strong argument against him.

Mind you, Manning is easily smartest.

Unitas, Manning, and Brady?

kurt warner is kinda better. look at scoreboard.
>> Anonymous
>>463007

Being a Patsfag, I want to say "BRADY IS THE BEST EVER FUCK YAZ!" but then again, I also want to put Bledsoe above Favre and Aikmen.

Taking of my Boston cap, I feel hesitant to put Brady into the top three so definitively. Manning I would be more confident on. The only way we'll really see is when both of their careers is over.

By that logic Brett Favre, Jake Delhomme, and Jason Campbell are all better

That's something else, Vinatieri is the greatest clutch kicker ever. With him, the Pats are 3-0 in the Super Bowl, and 0-1 without.

It doesn't take a genius to know that you don't win 3 Super Bowls in 5 years without a good QB. I didn't say great, but at least good. Aikman, Montana, Bradshaw. Out of these 3, are any of them less than good? No. Are they all "great"? No.

Brady is smart, accurate, and has a good arm. He has 3 Super Bowls, an MVP, the TD record, an undefeated regular season, as well as longest winning streak on his resume. It's no doubt that in the long run, the QB is the position with the most responsibility for games won or lost. He's great, I'm a packfag who sucked off Favre for years, and now I can cheer for Green Bay each week hoping all the players do well enough without that lock-in that our QB is there to bail us out int he 4th.

Brady isn't the best ever, but he sure as hell is headed there.

Oh yea, saying it won't change my mind, I laughed at 18-1 for a long time, now it's just stale and only suitable for the trolls.

another colts fag here. Manning is good. I don't think he's the best of all time, not when you consider Johnny U, Montana, Young, etc. He deserves mention near the top, but number 1? that's pushing it.

Because QBs can really be judged on team accomplishments.

He threw in an era where there wasn't a flag every 5 seconds if the defender breathed on the receiver in a wrong way, and still has the best TD to INT ratio in the league. Not to mention his records were and for the most part still are the standard to beat.

Dan truly is the man. And all without a superbowl, showing you how completely inept his team truly was.

I'm a huge fan of Dan Marino, and he is my number one as a Dolfag.

I quoted you though because more truth has never been spoken about the rules in todays league. Both Peyton Manning's and Tom Brady's records should be taken with the largest grain of salt on Earth. Return the rules back to when a defense was 1) Allowed to hit the QB without a penalty as long as it wasn't WELL after the pass was thrown, and 2) Allow a corner to cover a WR and make plays rather then this shit about not being able to glare at a WR until the ball is caught.

Seconded,
Not only is it easier to pass due to rule changes Marino never had the supporting cast in place. Name a good running back that played for the phins at the same time Marino did
