>>448425 The office is returning to fundamentals, a solid short pass game with a bit of running to open up play-action passing. The Wildcat gimmick has worn off and Miami is beating opponents by just playing basic, solid football. No star receivers burning corners for 50 yard routes, no hall-of-fame quarterbacks able to air out the deep ball, but just solid football.
I think, carrying this momentum on a young team that will improve as the season goes on, that they can trump at least 3 out of the Seahawks, Chiefs, Rams, and 49ers. The Patriots lose a key player almost weekly now, and the JEST are inconsistent with which team shows up every week. I'm not saying it's a guarantee because the odds are still stacked against them, but basic, fundamental football, lowering penalties and turnovers, and preventing the big plays, can chug Miami into a winning season and possibly the AFC East title as the rest of the AFC East struggles.
