im really sorry op but you posted this on 4chan, and well...this is what you get. some people on 4chan think theyre starting a revolution, most of them however are just idiots.
this is gonna be short and sweet. what Willy B and Korheiser did for sports writers on television was without a doubt groundbreaking, PTI was the first of its kind, two respected DC area sportswriters with an obvious east coast bias debated sports topics on television like sportwriters in a newspaper, remember this is 2001 so even though the idea had been around in politics (see Mclaughlin group) it finally touched down with american sports. also, this is well before the sports blog and sports writers went to the world wide web. anyway cut to the chase what they did was put you local sports writer in your newspaper, or for that matter a large national print service, usa today etc. and put him on tv, these people are obviously smart and can articulate their ideas thoughtfully and still get them across to the public. but will it translate to tv? PTI did that, personally i hate kornheiser hes winy jew in a television bocks full of whiny jews. but he did do great things for writers not only in america but across the globe, i mean yea the www kicked into high gear in a very timely manner also. and with the leaving ESPN thing? the featured story on ESPN.com right now is encouraging all of us to like a detroit - spurs final matchup even though we wont like it because it will be best for the NBA, by Jemelle Hill, or something, the same dumbass that called Lebron James' Vogue cover "racist" and then summarily got blasted for it. yea i dont blame tony one bit for wanting out of there.
