In honor of Tom Brady's career fucker-upper injury, we remember other epic talents that were fucked up by an injury.Ill go first: Ken Griffey Jr.
>>328851>Tom Brady>epic talents
>>328852>Best statistical season by a QB, everI'll just leave that here.
I agree... I think it was the talent that surrounded Brady rather than Brady himself. Had Brady played his whole career for the Texans or Browns or some other shitty team he wouldn't be in the top ten QB list.I do have to give him credit for being able to know how to get the ball to his playmakers.
>>328855That still doesn't change the fact that he is a huge faggot.
>>328872second
Can I play?
ENOUGH. This thread is not another Bradyfag vs otherfags. This is epic injury thread, you fucks.!

Bo Jackson is the quintessential answer here.
Had he not broken his foot he probably would have been the Giant's QB for another 5 years.
>>329143/r/ing the K-Zone version of Osama Bin Lidle
Sierra Hotel before the car accident, an integral cog in the failpen afterwards.

The lack of Penny Hardaway in this thread is incredible.
>>328855Kind of helps when you have moss, and 2 other pretty damn good recievers.Marino's was better, he had NOBODY.
>>329424Mark Clayton, Mark Duper, Mark Ingram and Irving Fryar want a to have word with you.
>>329453Thanks for proving the point.
Me.
How this guy didn't get mentioned is beyond me:Mike Bossey.50 goals /year for 9 straight years, could have had 10 but his back gave out. On a pace to shatter Howe's record and probably fight toe to toe with Gretzky to 900Honorable mention goes to Mario Lemieux who tried to maintain his career despite a laundry list of health problems, including fucking cancer. While he managed quite a few games and was disturbingly effective until his last one he couldn't really play more than once a week.
He didn't do too badly afterwards but didn't really live up to his potential.
Sweet prince!
If Bobby Orr could have played 20some years instead of 8, i'm sure that he would be considered the best hockey player, before Wayne Gretkzy.
lol
>>329525That's true... he's not the same, he's changedI don't need him anywayHe's not the personThat I believed in yesterdaydadadaaaaa dadadadadadad dadaaaa!
>>329525he still plays anyway, dont think hes fucked up by this injury.
cam neely :(
Such a shame..
Used to throw 95-98 mph consistantly, but because of these injuries. (rotator cuff, hamstring, calf, hip, and toe)Such a shame, great player.
>>328883I lol'd
Not injury exactly. Could've been a legend.
>>330265He's currently forming his own legend now in Texas.
>>329524>>329985THESE TWO
>>330153He's still headed for the Hall of Fame
Hey guys, like my new shirt?
>>328967FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUCK
animooted
If this guy didn't get injured and the Patriots managed to keep him they would've won the superbowl in 2006 and then went 19-0 in 2007. 18-1ing this post has no effect because you all know it's true.
No body remembers me?!
>>330381I was just about to ask why no one had Benoited this thread.Back to seriousness-but-not-really, I add Larry Bird to this thread. Missed more than 140 regular season games in his last four years, plus a bunch of playoff games.
Hey guyz, watz this?
>>330480Yea, with him, he really took a fall and was never able to recover.
>>329067Lack of ability to turn right?
The way he broke his ankle fuuuck
>>330480
bumping the cancer off the page
bump again because mods can't delete cancer off of /sp/

WTF? Why haven't Antonio McDyess and Allan Houston been mentioned. Do you have any idea the amount of grief that put Knicks fans through? They sucked up our salary cap worse than Marbury and Francis.
>>331080"IKE! DO YOUR IMPERSONATION OF OWEN HART'S FINAL PERFORMANCE!""itrustyouvince" *splat*
No one has mentioned Eric Lindros yet?
>>329424lrn2footballhistory young fella
>>328967what happened to this guy?
>>331231He got injured.
Is death an injury?
>>329477>>329477underage
>>329453I would disagree with that, but the card clearly says they're the "real deal"
>>329477you're an idiot.
Is it too early to put Greg Oden on the list?
i lol'd when i shouldn't have.
>>331336Yes
>>330362Yes, but ever think where would he be now if it wasn't getting all this injuries? He'd already be on his quest for 300+ wins.Kind of like Griffey Jr., would easily had the record for home runs.
So close to being a hall of famer.
He'll never be the same
self-pwn'r
>>331350I didn't know doing too much blow was an injury.
