I can imagine this getting serious support, so not a bad move on the lib dems part. At the bery leat, someone is listening to them, which is more than expected.

As to the actual proposal, I think the key would be in the stewards. Right now, they are a bunch of cunts with rods up their arse. If they are actually trained to be reasonable and enforce safety rules, I see nothing wrong with standing areas.

It would also mean cheaper tickets (touch wood), which could only be a good thing.

Plus, if the Germans can manage it, I'm sure we can.

I doubt many clubs would go for it anyway, at least straight away. Probably have an affect on league one/two 5 years before it even started coming up into the prem.
