HEY STOP LOSING THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
>> Anonymous
Teams have to stop OSU from getting there first.
>> Anonymous
>>23140

Buckeyefag here-

Kent State and Youngstown State ain't gonna stop shit. SEC rolls us over and you know it.
>> noko
>>23140
Illinois tried, but the Media poll sucks.

The Big 10 Conference is a shell of it's former self
>> Anonymous
>>23153
You don't have to beat OSU to stop them from getting there. Everyone says how shit OSU's schedule is, so go fucking beat people with your teams and out-impress people. Pass OSU in the polls. Otherwise people need to shut the fuck up. Beat your teams to get there and stop BAWWWing when OSU beats theirs.

SWEATER VEST

>>23175

This wasn't true in years past; but it might be now. The Big 10's reputation has been absolutely ruined; they'll be easier to pass in the polls now.
>> Anonymous
>>23175

Its kinda hard when my team(DAWGS) plays quality opponents almost every week and loses a hard fought game while you guys blow out teams Youngstown State and have the #1 O and D in the nation...
>> Anonymous
>>23175
OSU had the weakest schedule, so it easy to say that OSU could kick the crap out of team when they play teams like Kent State and Youngstown. OSU should stop being a bitch of a team and play more SEC teams

THE BIG 11 IS A SHIT CONFERENCE

Atleast we have 2 strait national championships in conference to cheer us up, instead of 2 strait national runner-ups

ITT we predict what SEC team will curbstomp Ohio State next year in the National Championship.

Georgia looks like they have the best chance. LSU is STILL one of the most talented teams in the country. Auburn has a shot if their QB doesn't completely hamper them until the last minute of the game (lolcox). Florida is still Florida and still I'm still hesitant to make a complete prediction on them. Tennessee and Alabama will reminisce about the good ole days while being nonfactors.

Is it Hate Ohio day again? Well...I go to Michigan...I'm always game for a little OSU bashing.

Shit, I don't even mind that you're putting the Big 10 down so long as you keep beating OSU.
>> Anonymous
This year will be Ohio State-Oklahoma in the National Championship game, and somebody will have to win this time.
>> Anonymous
>>23737
They both tie in what is somehow a blowout.
>> Anonymous
>>23182

win more, faggot.
>> Anonymous
>>23758
NO U
>> Anonymous
>>23774
No! If OSU keeps beating its pitifully-easy schedule, they'll keep getting mowed down in the National Championship! We'll never have an entertaining NC again!
>> Anonymous
>>23778
Eh... I'm and SECfag and I'm getting a kick out of this whole business.
>> Anonymous
inorite, they've only been to three national championships and only won once in the last SIX years!

ONE CHAMPIONSHIP AND 1-2 IN SIX YEARS!! WTF LOL
>> Anonymous
I once went to a game where we played Ohio State. They have stupid cheers that involve nuts. We kicked their ass. It was funny.
>> Anonymous
>>23791
Congratulations on beating (1) the Big 10 (ahahahahahaha) and (2) Larry Coker (AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA).
>> Anonymous
Big Ten: College sports on easy mode. OSU is always going to lose to the best SEC and best PAC-10 team, the reason they don't always have to face them and the reason OSU actually ever wins a championship is because the PAC-10 and SEC are so good that teams end up getting 2 losses are are immediately out of contention for the national championship game.
>> Anonymous
>>23799

why thank you.
>> Anonymous
>>23801
No, thank you for letting me laugh my ass off when you guys put up 80 total yards of offense after talking for two months about how troy smith was the greatest quarterback you had ever seen.
>> Anonymous
Hey guys. Let's not fight. Let's all come together and unite in our hatred for Notre Dame.
>> Anonymous
>>23811
Kinda hard to hate on the cripple kid. Until you try watching ESPN cover college football and they won't shut up about the guy.
>> Anonymous
>>23807

not a problem. how many times do we have to repeat it? that team wasn't ready to play the game. enough about it. jesus. i'm sure you'll get there, georgia. i mean, you have to eventually.
>> Anonymous
>>23811
Notre Dame will suck forever until they man the fuck up join a conference, or stop playing a bunch of gays.
>> Lambchop's Death Legion
>>23814

No, it's like that kid who has the "hearing problem" and gets to take extra time on tests, and he aces them because of it.
>> Anonymous
>>23816
not georgia, sorry

you'll have to keep repeating it until you get it through your thick skull that the buckeyes put on the most embarrassing performance in the history of the national championship, worse than nebraska against miami, worse than okie against USC. Between the coaching, the players, or the schedule, something sucked, badly. You weren't the best team, you were an above average team who got blown out by a team which struggled in SEC play.

Larry Coker's record at Miami against the SEC: 4-2
>> Anonymous
>>23833
Florida with the Zooker doesn't count.
2-2
Also I'm sure vandy was in there somewhere.
>> Anonymous
>>23826

No one ever denied it. They played a pitiful game. Most people can accept that that was an anomaly, considering the next year they once again faced the SEC champs in what was supposed to be a rebuilding year for Ohio State and actually gained more yardage than LSU.
>> Anonymous
>>23842

nope, tennessee and florida. and you can't say "lol doesn't count". if so you're admitting that one of your conference's powers don't count as a worthy opponent.
>> Anonymous
>>23852
Most SEC fans will admit that Fulmer and Zook were a couple of dumbasses... yet somehow Zook is the second-best coach in the big 10?
>> Anonymous
>>23800
Like the PAC 10 is any harder than the Big 10, it's the same thing on both sides. 2 annually good teams and the rest are shit.
>> Anonymous
>>23855

Zook knows how to recruit, not coach. In the Big 10, all you have to do is throw your talent out on the field.
>> Anonymous
>>23860
Or, in tressel's case, out-milquetoast your opponents
>> Lambchop's Death Legion
>>23855

and notice how all the Florida players now (ie Tim Tebow) are all Zook's recruits.
>> Anonymous
>>23846

Yet it was almost a potential blowout. YEEEE
>> Lambchop's Death Legion
>>23858

oh you mean like last year? When USC, Oregon, Arizona State, and Cal were all in the top 10 last year?

You can say that teams like Oregon State. Stanford or Arizona are shit, but saying the pac-10 isn't competitive is a bullshit statement. ALL three of those teams pulled big upsets, so don't say that it's very heavy towards just 1-2 schools.
>> Anonymous
>>23864
Tebow came in after Meyer's first year. You don't follow college football much, do you?
>> Anonymous
>>23876
Is it like that every year? No
USC is the only stable team in the Pac-10
>> Lambchop's Death Legion
>>23879

Yeah, but Zook sure as fuck had his scouts on him during his last year.
>> Anonymous
>>23864
LOL fail.
Zook is a good recruiter, but a horrible coach.
"IMA DO A BUBBLE SCREEN OK?LOL IT FAILED. WE TRIED HARD OH WELL WE ARE AN OK TEAM GUIZE"
That is Zooks approach.
Teebow, Percy, the defense, the defensive line, and the offensive line are all non-zookers. Florida won the national championship with many Zook recruits, yes, but it's not like the Larry Coker Miami teams who was using fucking epic Butch Davis talent. Meyer is actually a good coach, and is capable of recruiting damn fine talent. Without Ryan Smith (Meyer get) and Teebow (Meyer-get) Florida would never have won that championship game.
>> Anonymous
>>23874

lol @ almost being a potential blowout.

the size of the margin boiled down to a couple of key calls (lol running into the punter) and a couple of turnovers.
>> Anonymous
>>23899

>the Larry Coker Miami teams who was using fucking epic Butch Davis talent.

Oh, you mean the team that Ohio State defeated in the 2003 Fiesta Bowl?
>> Anonymous
>>23913
again with the excuses
>> Anonymous
Learn to read idiot, I'm saying that Larry Coker was a failure of a coach who was using Butch Davis talent. Butch Davis, like Zook, recruited well. Unlike Coker, Meyer actually wins games and gets new recruits. God damn you're such a failure.
>> Anonymous
>>23913

Stop making excuses buckeye fag
>> Anonymous
>>23925

>failure of a coach

>4-2 against the SEC
>> Anonymous
>>23933
The zookster had a winning record against the SEC too. They both still underachieved with overwhelming talent, which is why neither has a real head coaching job today.
>> Anonymous
>>23933
And then he got fired after the amazing talent that Butch Davis amassed eventually went to the NFL. Where does Coker coach now? Oh right, NOWHERE
>> Anonymous
Pac-10 this year was just odd, Cal disappointed, USC lost to STANFORD, Dennis Dixon got hurt so Oregon Lost.

Lets not forget that for a time in 2007, the polls had BC and South Florida as the best teams in the country.

IMO 2007 ended the way it should have
>> Anonymous
>>23977
>the polls had BC and South Florida as the best teams in the country

um... no?
>> Anonymous
>>24003
I think he meant "one of of the best teams"

They were both ranked no. 2 at one time.
>> Anonymous
OSU might as well be in the Sun Belt the way they keep losing to the SEC
>> Anonymous
ASU has Dennis Erickson, the Tarkanian of football, and I do not feel one whit guilty. I only fear that super-Tarkanian Neuheisel is at UCLA nao. LET US GIVE PROPS TO THE PAC-10 CHEATING CONFERENCE WITH GREAT REVERENCE. And call the SEC bitch ass wanna be cheaters (they'e poor down there).
