So which team had the biggest turnaround from last year? Lakers whom got eliminated in the 1st round again or Celtics who had the worst record and why?

I'd say Lakers simply because the Boston team had completely changed. 3 Superstars vs. Last year with none (Pierce was gone most of the season). LA had the same team until Gasol came in Feb.

"whom" is used incorrectly

boston obviously had the biggest turnaround

they both had big turn arounds but in different ways

the lakers made the biggest turnaround in teamplay, instead of being Kobe and Kobe, it is now Kobe and the lakers because they are a team now and not a player.

Boston made the biggest turnaround numbers and personel wise.

I think the "new Kobe" theory is just retarded.
Have any of you fuckers who spout that theory ever watched past Lakers games? The supporting cast was horrible. Sasha sucked, Bynum sucked, Kwame sucked, Lamar sucked, Farmar sucked, Cook sucked, Evans never got playing time, that dumb pg whose name i forgot but now is unemployed suck(s)(ed), and Walton was decent.

Isn't it obvious that now that Bryant's teammates got better, Bryant is more willing to pass?

tl;dr: Kobe is same Kobe. He just has better teammates.

Yea it is shit. I've saw a few games where Gasol or the role players didn't show up and you see Kobe of the past X years.

agreed. Last year the Lakers were carried to the playoffs by Kobe. Odom was unhealthy, Walton was ok, and Bynum wasn't really that good, as you always heard rumors of trading him because nobody wanted to wait for him to mature into a great player. Yet the team made it to the playoffs and had a good series with the suns, so the team itself was carried by Kobe, and you always wondered that say the supporting cast was a little bit better and healthy, how great can they be?

Fast forward now, and you have your answer. All teammates are healthy and alot more better and experienced, and also have Gasol in the lineup as well. the wins prove it.

Huh? Lamar Odom was and is a superstar and can do whatever he wants against most 3's and 4's in the league. Add, Gasol and you've got three all-stars. How is that any different from the Celtics, besides the fact that Odom and Gasol were suppose to lead their previous franchises yet were unable to? Better question is why in the world would Jerry West trade an all-star for a high school fluke? If only Boston was able to trade Sebastian Telfair for Kevin Garnett. We'd have equally stacked teams.

if the word that "who" is referring to is an actor (pretty much the subject of the sentence), then it's "who." if it's an object, direct or indirect (a thing being acted upon/for/with etc) then it's "whom."

with whom are you going to the movies?
"you" = subject, so must be whom

who went to the movies with you?

who = subject
