maybe the giants, but I don't think they can stop the run game. and the Jest's only hope is that the teetons DB's don't show up, because all time INT leader is the QB

what are the odds that brett favre wins both games?

I think the Titans are more likely to lose.

I love my Cards but even though they took the Cowboys down, defeating the Giants is going to be tuff. They are going to have to come out ready and wanting to win. The running game needs to be in top shape to keep the Giants defense on the field.

Everyone needs to jump off that Cardinals bandwagon now before it burns to the ground in the first week of the playoffs. They're a mediocre team and they're not beating the Giants.

I picked the Bretts for this week. Although i'll be just as pleased if they lose as well, since it will put my Dolphins ever so closer to taking the division after we beat the Pats.

I think people are actually posting from Arizona, and it's not so much a bandwagon as it is the one season they can look forward to in their lifetime.

Being from Albuquerque, I always root for Arizona teams, but I watched the Packers in the early 90s as a 5 year old, and started rooting for them loyally year-in, year-out, still do.

I'm happy for the Cards and all, I want them to win, but if it came down to GB and Arizona in the NFC Championship, I'd hope for a 33-30 GB win in OT.

Everyone was saying that when they played the Bills, when they played the Giants. The Cardinals are a good team.

Their run defense is not the kind that would have a good chance to stop Brandon Jacobs. They just charge up, say "fuck tackling" and ram with their shoulder until one guy goes "hey, I have more momentum than the running back, I think I can wrap up and tackle him now!", which is typically the 4th or 5th guy to get to the RB. With Jacobs, I can see him have no problem having the defense bounce off of him. Ward or Bradshaw is a different case, he's the type of back that can get swallowed up.

With the Cardinals game, they will most likely win if the Giants don't have Brandon Jacobs. The lack of Aaron Ross also helps. Adrian Wilson is in the clear so that helps put pressure on Eli Manning when they finally decide to blitz him more than twice a game.

I dont think stopping the run game is as questionable as how the O-line can handle Tuck, Kiwanuka, and Robbins trying to rip out Kurt Warner's throat on every play.

how do you beat a blitz, throw the ball to the RB, hmmm seems like Kurt Warner use to do that alot, MARSHAL FAULK ANYONE!?

Tuck, Kiwanuka and Robbins are linemen.

Did you see the Ravens game?

>>480085
um.. if he throws to faulk to beat the blitz they'll just blitz every play. while im sure his coach appreciates ball security, you want to try to make a play, not just blindly throw the ball into the nfl networks commentator booth.

first off I know they are line men, however, the reason they get penetration is not because they are black, but because of NYG blitz pack, Tuck is an everything player, not just lineman, hes a DE and a OLB, its a shifty defense.
as for you, you beat a blitz with swing passes, screens, and quick routes, one of the safest routes is a RB out, Arizona has plenty of speed in the backfield to grab a pass and run for 3 yards, Marshall Faulk made his carreer on that in St.Louis and Indy, he was a leading reciver as well as a rusher. Kurt warner use to throw him the ball, thanks for the reference

I would say higher than they've been so far. Which is to say, quite high.

Giants haven't faced an offense like 'Zona yet. They can really put up points and Kurt is playing like an MVP and his receivers can really make plays. Giants front 7 have 1 sack in the last 2 games. That's... pathetic. Especially for a team that prides itself on pressuring the QB. If they can't pressure Kurt he will really cut up their secondary, no matter how well Ross and Webster are playing lately they can't cover THOSE receivers forever.

Totons haven't faced Brett Favre yet. That is all. Also I guess a little credit should go to the Jets ability to stop the run without just their front 7.

I'm actually picking the Jets to win, not the Cards though.

*with just their front 7

Kiwanuka isn't going to be a problem, it's Tuck I'm worried about. Tuck will have absolutely no problem breezing past Levi Brown. Quick slants to Fitz and screens to Arrington and Hightower will defeat blitzes, but the 7 step drops and shotgun draw plays will get eaten up.
