/sp/artans,

Should ballroom dancing be an Olympic sport?
>> Anonymous
I think it should.

I mean if fucking FIGURE SKATING is an Olympic sport, then Ballroom Dancing should be. Also, its very competitive, very athletic, and very fun to watch.

I predict by London 2012 (the Ballroom Dancing capital of the WORLD), the IOC will allow Ballroom Dancing as a Medal sport.

Well, it's recognized as a sport by the IOC. I'm surprised that they didn't capitualized with the Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance popularity all over the world. Maybe someone should push for it.

I bet those Britfags are pushing more for cricket and squash to be on the program more than anything.

He stepped on her toe there, Bob. Thats going to be a deduction of .125 which could cost him the gold.

Stepping on toes should be the equivelent of balance checks for .1 deductions.

Both the man and women messing up a part of the routine should be .3

Fuck no! It's bad enough that gymnastics is in the Olympics!

I think it would be awesome....

Eastern Europe is a hotbed for ballroom dancing, and will possibly take all the medals if it ever became an Olympic event
