The Saints and Cardinals are pretty terrible, but at least the Saints are on the cusp of being a really good team.

The Cardinals have won ONE playoff game in the past 40 years, and that was a wildcard game.

People could argue the Lions also suck, but they've at least consistently made the wildcard round, and made it to the NFC Championship in Barry Sander's 3rd year.
>> Anonymous
>>15311
BENGALS - 2 Super Bowls, all time won-lost record of .446, won 5 playoff games since joining NFL in 1970.

CARDINALS - 0 Super Bowls, all time won-lost record of .412, won two playoff games since 1920.

You lose.

The Mets have won TWO World Series. And actually within the last couple decades, not like the turn of the century or some gay shit like that.

The only reason people say they suck is because they don't even begin to stack up against the Yankees.

obviously you don't know about the Pirates teams of the 70s. Roberto fucking Clemente would like to have a word with you. Oh wait, he's at the bottom of the Caribbean...

Anyway, this is the worst ever professional sports team.

Didn't the bucks win a championship in the early 70's with Robertson and KAREEM??...Either way they still suck

If a team has won a major championship before, or has been to one, they aren't the worst of all time. Bitches.

The Oilers were respectable. These guys make me cringe.

However, I won't give them too much shit anymore about passing up Vince Young and Reggie Bush. Mario Williams is pretty good.

10000 loses.
>> Anonymous
>>15360

Certainly now they are terrible, but still not doing as bad as the Heat or T-wolves.

We had glory days back in the 70's, and even had a bit of a renaissance in like, the early 2000's when we made it to the Eastern Conference Championship. Glen Robinson, Sam Cassell, Ray Allen, Tim Thomas etc
>> Anonymous
>>15367

The Texans are actually becoming better. It just sucks that they're in the hardest division in Football.

-Colts
-Jaguars
-Titans

I am from Houston, but I am also on board with this anon's surprisingly accurate prediction.

the Texans aren't all that bad, and I'm not even from Houston, or even Texas. Or a fan. A couple more years of improvement and they can be a contender, especially if they can keep Andre Johnson healthy and productive. They're first key step was getting rid of Carr.
>> Anonymous
>>15403

The Titans are solid.

They have no star playes (except VY) and they still manage to win games.

Raptor Chirst, a team has five shitty years and you fucking people compare them to the Cardinals???!

Dude, check the fucking records, the Cardinals and the Clippers are the worst teams ever. They are never ever good.

Vince sucks, their entire offense sucks. But you're right, they win games, and I have no FUCKING clue how.
>> Anonymous

>>15305
The Cardinals can switch managers all they want - until the Bidwills are gone, the team will never improve. They are turning a profit on a losing team, so why would they bother to spend tons of money possibly making it a winner?

Same problem the Pirates have.

>> Anonymous
>>15309

They at least got to the Super Bowls, not to mention they won AFL championships and continue to sell out. Their streak is a colossal failure, but they are not a failure of a franchise.

A team with three trips to the NFC title game in its first dozen years is hardly an epic failure. Especially since they won one of those.

They've just had terrible luck with injuries the last few years.

Fuck no. The Vikes haven't been great in recent years, but they have a pretty rich history. They have a bundle of Hall of Famers and have been to the Super Bowl four times. Granted they lost all four, it's still pretty good compared to teams who haven't even got past the Divisional round. Also, Fran Tarkenton played for us. Fran fucking Tarkenton.

Now GTFO you ungrateful cunt.

Shareef Abdur-Rahim is the worst Professional Sports Team ever.
>> Anonymous
     File :-(, x)
Let's look at it shall we...

20 -- yes, TWENTY -- consecutive seasons of missing the playoffs to kick off their franchise history. In the NFL, even during the 70s and 80s, that is a VERY VERY difficult thing to "accomplish"

34 years before recording their first playoff win, in 2000, after almost blowing the biggest playoff lead in NFL history (but at least they won on a freak punt fumble, right?)

2-6 overall in playoffs, only 8 winning seasons in 40 years of franchise history. while 3 division championships wash away some blow, never going to a super bowl and only appearing in an nfc championship once does bring things down.

not saying they'll remain one of the worst sports teams in history, since they do have some promise for the coming years, they do have to be considered for the present (at least as the NFL's worst team -- even the Cardinals have an NFL Championship!)
>> Anonymous
>>15734
Ask the Houston Texans, Charlotte Bobcats and Tampa Bay Rays if we care. All four teams are recent expansion teams, never making the playoffs.

Atlanta Falcons. Ok, there may be teams out there with worse overall records or fewer playoff appearances, but for sheer ingenuity on fucking up and finding new ways to fail, the Falcons can't be beat.
