NBA isn't relevant unless the Knicks/Bulls are relevant
>> Anonymous
>>371356
i guess the NBA is utterly, totally, completely fucking pathetically, grossly amazingly supremely retardedly irrelevant then

or maybe it's just the bulls and knicks

nah man the NBA was last good in the 90's everyone knows that.

Not even a real big NFL fan, but I can sit through an NFL game. The reason why there's so many commercials is so you can get drunk quicker. But the NBA and MLB just crawl so much it's only worth watching the highlights.

I'm hoping the Magic beat the Pistons in the playoffs for once. BTW, the new Magic jerseys are cool. Pinstripes will bring us closer to an NBA title!

See (wing passes to the back) I (back passes to wing) would (wing passes to back) usually (back passes to keeper) agree (keeper boots it to midfield) with (wing passes to forward) you (forward gets it stolen) but (back passes to wing) all (wing passes to back) sports (back passes to keeper) have (keeper passes to back) their (back passes to wing) slow (wing passes to back) moments.

Faggot (back passes to keeper)

how (1-2 count) can (pitcher scratches his balls) you (catcher diddles himself) guys (here's the pitch) forget (throw to first) about (safe) baseball, (batter calls for time) the (pitcher scratches his ass) other (here's the pitch) sports (foul ball) are (foul ball) way (foul ball) more (foul ball) exciting (foul ball) and (foul ball) fun (catcher calls for time) to (foul ball) watch (foul ball)

Lost: Jarret Jack

Gained: Rudy Fernandez, Greg Oden, Jerryd Bayless

Returning: Roy, Aldridge, Outlaw, Webster, Frye, Pryzbilla...

With the off season improvements that have reported (a lot more lean muscle on Webster, Aldridge is a lot stronger, etc...) they will be a team to watch.

You gained two shooting guards(Bayless is NOT a PG) to compete with ROY, an injury prone overrated center, and lost the pure awesome that is Jarret Jack.

I mean fuck, just look at that name. Also, He's an awesome team leader and PG(lolsteveblake).

Enjoy your disappointment.

If you call stepping out of bounds and the lowest assist to turnover ratio in the league pure awesome.

At least he has charisma (again, lolsteveblake)

last season the trailblazers kept giving the lakers trouble. i think they won the season series 3-1 or something. in the end, the blazers never made it to the playoffs, but being a lakersfag, i feared that if they were the 8th seed that theyd actually have a chance at pulling an upset over the 1st seed lakers.

well, maybe it could happen this year. but yeah, the point guard situation will be interesting with them. the bulls had all this hype a year or two ago too, over their group of young talent with a year more of experience, etc, and they just tanked hard. its easy to see the blazers going either way.

Caron Butler
Antawn Jamison (aka mr. 20-10)
Gilbert Arenas (Out till dec, yes, 2 1/2 knee-operations, yes..but still...daaagggeerrrr)

+ Haywood who had a great breakout season last year, Etan Thomas returning to improve the bench
+the young guys playing very well in summerleague/training camp..

Let's go for the 8th seed and eliminate boston! (last season 3-1 against them, some games without butler/antawn)

I'm an NFL fan much more than a NBA fan, but seriously, you can sit through an NFL game but you think the NBA crawls? They spend much more time moving and attacking in the NBA unlike the NFL where it's one play, pause, one play, pause, one play...

Heat are a top 5 team in the East now.
>> Anonymous
>>371581

East Coast doesn't matter. Half of their top 8 didn't make it past 500. A healthy Wade isn't going to make a difference. It'll be West Coast + Boston all over again.

Hell yeah getting hype for the new season. Curious to see how Mo Williams will mesh with the rest of the team. I'm always interested in how well the rookies perform and how the new off season acquisitions pan out.

But with every season coming and going, I'm getting closer and closer to LeBron's departure :(

That will be a day when all of Cleveland weeps.
