1:25-1:30 not bawwing, not saying he did it on purpose. dont really care. the point is he got blocked into the turf and tried to make up for it and dove directly into his shins
>> Anonymous
wow, he even hit him before he released the ball. How is that even remotely dirty?

Cry moar, 18-1's
>> Anonymous
>>325474
has nothing to do with him having the ball. teeing off at a qbs knees is dirty
>> Anonymous
>>325463obvious patriots idiot not understanding that he was trying to SACK the QB, which isn't dirty at all.

What? There are plenty of things a defensive player can do while trying to sack the QB that are perfectly dirty... tackling below the waist, spearing, helmet to helmet hit, facemasking, tripping, headslapping, and, in the words of the late Ben Dreith, "giving him the business."
>> Anonymous
>>325483
Wasn't teeing off you blind tool.
>> Anonymous
>>325489
In this case he wasn't. Don't be an idiot.
>> Anonymous
So since he is on the ground, he is supposed to take the play off? Seriously?

Wow, you Patsfags are morons.
>> Anonymous
>>325498
You're the idiot. You said nothing about "this case," just that it was impossible for someone trying to sack the QB to do something dirty.
>> Anonymous
>>325502
no hes supposed to NOT TACKLE HIM AT THE DAMN CALF. jesus chris. below the knees= dirty. deal with it. bradys still out. why the fuck do you care
>> Anonymous
>>325505
>he was trying to SACK the QB
>he

clearly not referring to him...
>> Anonymous
bernard pollard is a hero for playing dirty and OP should be banned for his lies.
>> Anonymous
I don't know if anybody cares, but it wasn't an O-Lineman that pushed Pollard down. It was Sammy Morris.
>> Anonymous
seriously im a coltsfag and i hope brady never plays again but theres nothing clean about that hit. lol tho
>> Anonymous
>tackling below the waist
Butthurt Patsfag spotted. It's funny how the Patriots entire team is raging over this hit yet their players do the exact same thing.

If anything, it's Brady's damn fault for stepping into his throw so much. Don't put down a defensive lineman for making an effort to wrap up a QB by the legs.
>> Anonymous
>>325514>he was trying to SACK the QB
>he

Oh, I get it. It's not that any NFL player can do nothing dirty while trying to sack the QB, its just Bernard Pollard who can do nothing wrong while trying to sack the QB.

Stop with this dumbass jibber-jabber and either say why the hit was dirty or not. Intent or who the player is has no bearing on any of it.
>> Anonymous
>>325536
you're an idiot. of course the patriots make dirty tackles, everybody does. but nobody spears a qb bellow the waist, because everyone will see it and its dirty.it wasnt a wrap it wasnt a pull down. it was a dirty tackle.

also pollard is a safety you asshole

WTF

where was the outrage when that Steeler scumbag went at Carson Palmer's shin like a full second and a half after he released the ball?
>> Anonymous
>>325560
yeah that hit was way worse
>> Anonymous
>>325560
Nobody in the NFL says jack shit when it's the Steelers, because it's the Steelers they're considered a holy franchise.
>> Anonymous
i remember steelers lineman that was said that he didnt mean to do it and i remember believing him

>>325560
>>325563

Indeed. I admit I am a Bengalfag but all these 18-1 fags need to watch that replay before they keep BAWWWing
>> Anonymous
>>325560
/sp/ didn't exist at that time
I remember visiting Bengal message boards and those cats were livid.

As I recall, the NFL ruled that hit was not illegal because Kimo "did not have an unimpeded path to the QB." Similar to Pollard, but then again also similar to Wilfork, who was blocked into Losman by Fowler, but Wilfork was fined.

>but nobody spears a qb bellow the waist,

Now it's a "spear"? Jesus christ, he was being held down while trying to wrap his leg, then your faggy o-lineman fell on hm and the weight went on Brady's leg. If you haven't seen the clip like 50 times already watch the one posted earlier in this topic before making any more comments. Try wiping the tears out of your eyes first though.

He fell sideways and it was pretty controversial whether or not he put his arm out intentionally or just to break his fall.

That will never happen because Patsfags have come to expect a certain amount of entitlement just like people on welfare...and they BAWWWW just like a welfare mother when she's asked to go out and do a little work for her check.

ATTENTION ALL YOU FUCKS

This is NOT a dirty play. if you watch the video, sammy morris shoves Pollard onto his stomach. Tom Brady is holding the ball. Pollard is able to crawl forward slightly towards Brady who is still looking for a receiver. Pollard lunges forward to make the play. He's not standing up on his feet you fucks, he is on his hands and knees. Do you want him to stand up, tuck his shirt in and tie his shoes before trying to sack the quarterback? At the same time he lunges, Brady steps forward and extends his knee. WTF do you want Pollard to do at this point, change directions midair? And lets compare it to the other 2 prominent hits, Kimo von Oelhoffen on Carson Palmer and Vince Wolfork on JP Losman. Both Kimo and Wolfork were on both feet when they went in on the knee, and Wolfork even led with his forearm (so cut his ass if you think shit like this is unacceptable) Pollard was on the ground. There was no way for him to make a tackle above the waist, but he is clearly not intending to go for the knee/calf.
>> Anonymous
>>325597
If arm motion were important, Kimo would have also been fined for wrapping his arm around Palmer's leg.
>> Anonymous
>>325584
watch the video 1:25-1:30

he was blocked to the ground, then jump at the legs while the lineman tried to hold him back.

Joe Thomas and Derek Anderson laugh at you Pats-fags. If you still want to cry, they've got some film from last year's Browns/Pats game to show you.

ATTENTION ALL YOU FUCKS

This is not a dirty play. If you watch the video, Roy Williams has to cover Reggie Brown on a shallow cross and is far away from McNabb when he starts to scramble. McNabb is running towards the sideline. Williams is able to run and nearly cut off McNabb's angle, but is just a little behind. Williams grabs McNabb to make the play. He is not in front of McNabb you dumb fucks, he is behind him. Do you want him to flip over top of McNabb, land on his feet, square up and then lightly push McNabb out of bounds? At the same time Williams grabs McNabb, McNabb lunges forward to pick up more yardage. WTF do you expect Roy Williams to do at this point, let McNabb go? There was no way for Williams to make the tackle from in front of McNabb, but he is clearly not intending to injure McNabb's knee/ankle.

That rule is some bullshit. If they are going to outlaw the horse collar, they need to outlaw cut blocking.

Pollard's a strong safety.

We are agreed then. As long as a player is trying to make a play, nothing he does is illegal.
>> Anonymous
>>325680

Ref, honest, I wasn't offsides, I was just trying to sack the QB before anybody tried to block me.

so were agreed.as long as a player says he didnt do it, he didnt do it.
