>>484846 Really? That's all you have? Let's break your arguments one by one.
>Oscar is a world class fighter several weight divisions above pacquiao
World class? He is part time fighter at most today. Care to tell me when is the last time he's hold a meaningful title in a division?
>Pacquiao relies on speed and power to win. At the higher weight, his speed will be diminshed and his power will have no effect on the rock chinned ODLH. He'll have to rely ENTIRELY on his speed to win.
This might be true a couple of years ago, like when he blitz Morales on their third fight, but the Pacquaio now is a much more complete fighter. Look at his fight against Diaz (albeit I admit that any elite fighter will look good against Diaz). He is not just a left-handed monster of years past. He can now use his right much effectively than in the past. One example: it's the very first fight I've ever saw him throw right hands with complete authority, not just as a setup for his left. He's no defensive wizard like JMM or Floyd jr., but don't tell he he's an all-offense fighter now like he's what he used to.
>Pacquiao has no plan B, he is no defensive slickster, he will be going straight at ODLH all night, that's a stylistic nightmare for Pacman.
A stylistic nightmare for Pacquiao? Are you fucking kidding me? If anything, it's the other way around. Tell me ONE southpaw that Oscar fought that he did well against. I fucking dare you. A very active fighter with good footwork will only gas faster an aging fighter like Oscar.
>ODLH will easily rehydrate any weight he cuts.
Rehydrate is one thing, but retaining your power and stamina is another. If this goes the distance, then that's the only time we'll know if Oscar can still carry 147. I'm a bit surprised that you haven't brought up Oscar's left hook yet. People that I've talked to seems to think that once Oscar lands that, it's basically over for Pacquiao.
