If they make a BCS bowl game, they will lose 999-0 and give the BCS even further reason not to put legit non BCS schools like Boise State a couple years ago in their bowl games. It was funny as fuck when they beat Michigan but they need to lose, now. For the good of college football.

The government should step in, smash the BCS committee under antitrust laws, and open the door for a playoff system.

I agree. Then they can let 1 or 2 non BCS conference schools in, let them embarrass themselves, and let the big boys play for the championship.

Please stop whining about a playoff. Some talking head on ESPN said it and now you repeat it like a goddamn talking chicken.

There are other alternatives to the current system that AREN'T a playoff, you stupid fuck. If you had a brain, you'd consider them.

Trolling, hatred, and elitism aside for just one brief moment here on /sp/...

BYU's loss was the worst thing that could have happened to the Utes. With that killing any chance of gaining a big chunk of respect and computer points in the BCS poll assuming that Utah beat the Cougars, the non-conference schedule just won't add up this year. They kind of tried, but it just didn't pan out -- Michigan is fail, Oregon State is fail because the Pac-10 is so weak, and you couldn't have a worse non-conference rivalry opponent than Utah State. As for Weber State...I know that almost everybody is putting an FCS team on their schedule, but non-BCS teams need to stop doing that because it does nothing but add another hurdle to crashing the party.

So, sorry OP, but your case is almost as flimsy as the guy who keeps trolling /sp/ twice a day with Tulsa. At least you can enjoy your 68-0 victory over the Golden Hurricane in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl.

The playoff system would destroy college football. Right now, the college football has the most exciting regular season in sports. Every game is important. The playoff in college football is the regular season.

I couldn't have said it any better myself. This is exactly why I watch college football primarily over the NFL. They do need to come up with an alternative if something like 2004 happened again where there's three undefeated BCS teams though.
