People expect the Mets to choke every season now, because it happened so many times. Like, once.
The Phillies (well, Rollins) say they will win 100 games this season. I'm gonna say 90, tops. Even so, the Braves will probably take second place/NL Wildcard since their team is much more solid than the Phillies. They have some sluggers and a fragile closer, so they aren't as much of a worry. The Mets will take the division, they've learned not to be douchebags, since that just leads to lesser teams (Marlins, Nationals) slapping the shit out of them.
As for the World Series, I'm thinking Mets vs. Tigers, Mets in 6. At Shea, for epic closure.
I doubt Hanley Ramirez is going to be the batting champ, but I guess he's as good a guess as any at this point. As a Met fan, I lean toward David Wright, as he will more than likely pull another 30-30 season with a .300+ Batting Average.
