Fact: Americans hate sports they don't dominate in. It is so obvious, there are a million examples. Hockey: Boring? Compared to baseball give me a break, in baseball and football, the total time the ball is actually in play is about 1/20th of the actual game, how is that exciting, i guess its exciting that the corporations have so much ad time. Violent? America loves violent things, look at MMA's growing popularity. So why isn't hockey popular? Cuz America sucks at it.
Chess: No one in US played Chess until Bobby Fischer became world champ, then suddenly there was a HUGE surge of american chess players, what a coincidence.
Tennis: America loved tennis when pete sampras and andre agassi dominated, then what happened? Oh yeah, international stars started to take over and suddenly the sport became boring again.
Soccer / Rugby / cricket: America hates soccer and they suck at it, ditto for rugby.
America only likes things they dominate at, and they trivialize all other sports.
P.S. Basketball is just as bad as soccer for fags crying about being touched while shooting. Talk about a non-contact sport.
