Buy or Sell: freestyle edition

After you make your answer, feel free to pose a question of your own!

Will the Cowboys finish at or under 500 and miss the playoffs?

Well Tony I'm buying this. Their defense looks absolutely terrible, Wade Phillips couldn't coach stubbornness to a mule team, Jerry Jones is the next Al Davis, and the best thing the Cowboys have is Tony Romo, which is truly a tragedy for any team with playoff aspirations.

I'm buying. If you look at the schedule, you will see that they still have under .500 teams that they can lose to.

Have to buy this.

Romo's backup showed he can't play worth sh!t, and were handed a huge loss by my team, the Rams. Just to put this loss in perspective, the Rams scored more points on Sunday against the Cowboys than they had ALL SEASON. Beginning of the end for the Cowboys.

Sell.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the Cowboys. It was two fluke losses.

They won't take the division, nor the wildcard! bwaha!

question?

Do the Bills make it to the playoffs for the first time since 1999, and if so, how far do they go?

I'm buying the Bills in the playoffs this year. The AFC East is wide open so it's not a stretch to think they can win that division, especially because they are sitting on top of it right now. I think they will go over .500 in their division and get into the post season with homefield advantage. However I don't think they can get past the really good teams of the AFC like the Steelers and Titans. Also I think the Broncos could give them a run for their money and the Ravens as well. Eliminated in the first round possibly, definitely not going to win a Championship game this year if they make it that far.

I'm buying it. They make it to the Superbowl, the game comes down the the last seconds, a Buffalo field goal will win the game. Wide Left.

Tony, I have to buy this. Right now the team is in shambles but the reason for this has got to be the vast number of negative personalities they have on the team. TO? Pac-Man? Tank Johnson? Who are they going to bring in next, Ocho Cinco? The Cowboys have just about no chemistry and that's going to cost them! I'd even say they flunked out of chemistry class.

They either get a real leader, ship out this club-house cancer, or they can enjoy sitting at home in January watching the Giants make another run at the Super Bowl.

Titans have an easier schedule than the bills.

This one's a tough sell, but I'm going to have to let it go. granted they're 5-1, and lead their division by two games...but they have yet to face the Jets, Patriots or Miami; and despite those teams woes of late, I think it's too likely that the Jets or Pats will take their two games against the Bills, and narrowly beat them out for a playoff spot. The possibility of a wild card spot is still there, but the overall picture makes this a sell.

Detoit Lions- nearly came back against Houston yesterday, but still managed to loose their 6th straight game...making them a "perfect" 0-6. Buy or Sell a "perfect" 0-16 Lions team?

fukken sell

not even the shitty miami dolphins could pull that off

Buy. They are an absolutely horrible team, and if they were going to win this season, Houston would've been it. The schedule from this point on is almost entirely playoff caliber teams.

Sell. LOOK AT THE SCHEDULE! 0-16 is possibly even harder than 16-0, with opponents quitting down the stretch and resting their players.

Moving away from the NFL, it's World Series time, people! The Fightin' Phils with a long layoff vs. the questionable momentum of the Rays: Simple question, gentlemen- WHO YA GOT?

Rays in 5.

Anyone not mentally retarded knows it in their heart.

Alright look, like, the National League? They are lambs to the slaughter against the American League. The Tampa Bay Devil Rays just beat the Boston Red Sox - THE BOSTON RED SOX - I think if they can handle that 9,000 pound gorilla they can handle the Phillies.

The Rays win this won in five and they have an unlikely World Series co-MVP in Cornelius Clifford Floyd and Rocco Baldelli.

Five points for a good argument, and a mute for homerism, Bob.

Buying the Rays. AL vs. NL is a nobrainer. If you look at the play of the AL DH vs. the DH on NL teams in past series' it's tragic. Also Rays are just a better team top to bottom.

I'll buy 0-16 for the Lions this year. Unless one of the teams they play absolutely lays a steamy turd they won't have a chance at any of their remaining games.
