Did any of you play highschool football?
I've been away from it for one year. I graduated college last year and have been working.

I miss high school football so much, it was all worth it. My little brother is a senior and I remember at his last game was very emotional, being that he hasn't gotten any scholarships unfortunately.

ITT, we discuss the greatest times of our lives, our High school football days.

Pic related, me my senior year

I mean 5, but I played college ball.

I did not go to a high school with a team.

England sucks dick so I never got to play anything other than soccer and cricket

my high school's football team sucked. if you were a fast nigger, they'd play you. same thing in basketball too. I think our combined basketball and football varsity records for the four years I went there was like 8-117. That's why I quit both after JV year.

Mira Loma ftl.

Sorry Gents, I play a superior sport.

Baseball.

>>11925

You sound like a superior faggot.

High School Football was fucking great. I played QB(no joke), 2nd string until my senior year, which was kind of gay since we didn't depend on the "Field General" as much as we did the Running back. We did above average, but didn't make it to any form of playoffs higher than our district, or neighbor districts.

My team didn't have a football team. But I was on the basketball team my freshman year. It sucked too cause I was going thru puberty and was tall for my age. I had to play the 2-5 positions. Then all my friends quit. Im in college now and my high school is the #1 seed in the Northern NJ playoffs :|

I loved playing High school football.
I was a Offensive Lineman I was a right guard my first year, right tackle my second then the rest I went back to right guard. I was kind of small for a linemen though by the end of my senior year I was 6'2 248 pounds.
I loved being a Linemen... I still play football only for a jr College.

Linemen was for the fatasses WHO DIDNT DO ANYTHING.

Starting Halfback.
>> Anonymous
>>11989
lol, sure. I was a halfback too and I loved my line. I had too, because if any one of them hated me they would half-ass it and I'd get beat like I stole something.
>> Anonymous
>>11989

Yeah... 3rd string punter.
What proves it, that you're lying is that if you actually were a Halfback you'd understand that the line saves your ass.
Every Halfback that I knew loved Linemen.
We fucking protect you. We open the up wholes for you.
We fucking work the hardest during summer camp and during practice and during games.

GTFO!!

Free Safety.
Also known as boooooooooooooooriiiiiiiiiing.

>>12027
I loved being free safety in high school. Many of the teams sucked(including ours). Many of the QBs threw bad passes. All I had to was get under them

Two year starting QB at a private school in Texas. After my sophomore year we had a shrimp line though, so I got chased around all damned game.

8 man football in a tiny rural school. Everyone played, we lost most of our games. Ran an I formation, I played safety/tight end.
>> Rick Dominated
Alright, I'll admidt it
I was the requisite "Fat Guy Coaches Felt Sorry For Linemen whose only real purpose was to add 20 pounds to the team average"
Played mostly JV for 3 years, considered it a fucking awesome accomplishment when I finally got a starting spot on the saturday games my senior year (Hell, I was even voted JV Captain)
As a Tackle the only thing I ever had going for was my size (6'6'' 380) which on JV is usually enough to beat out the shrimp ass guy playing Defensive Tackle and then bounce the occasional linebacker
>> thetruth !!aGXBnMVTlN3
>>12756

If you had coordination and got into shape you could have played at least low end D1 ball with that size.

Got on the jv team my freshmen year ,stop my sophomore year. Played 1st string strong safety and return specialist, also was a defenive captain
>> Anonymous
Fullback. Only was involved in about half of the plays, never got a carry except in short-yardage situations or blowouts. Our team was decent (more due to defense than offense), we made playoffs my junior year, but I tore up my knee in practice something terrible and didn't get to play in our one postseason game.
>> Anonymous
Middle Linebacker. Going into my senior year. I was just in the paper today too. Can't fucking wait till season starts.
>> Giovanni Sinclair !kPeYgxvYE2
I was going to be on my school team but during camp I broke my forearm and was out for the year but it was for the better because the team never won more than 2 games per year in all the four years I was in school.

I always play QB when my friends and I play at the park :D :D :D

that defensive linemen tried to tackle me ... an offensive linemen ... pretty much all game.

I played some wide receiver because I was a heck of a sprinter. I also did some quarterbacking when one guy failed a class. Didn't have much of an arm but I was real good at escaping a sack.

Dang, that was so long ago.

My highschool career goes like this
Grade 8: Starting Tight End/ Linebacker for the JV team I was the starting running back, for the senior team starting tight end (Its not fucking easy for a freshmen to go up against guys 6'-6'5" we went 3-3)
Grade 9: JV Team: Starting Running back and LoLB, Senior First reciever, Starting MLB
Grade 10: JV Team: star QB, Nosetackle/MLB Senior team: Full back, and MLB
Grade 11: Running back MLB

I guess its becoming more balanced :/ I made the all-star team though for defense, we finally won a championship after every team I've played for either made it to the championship or semi-final.

I get told this about every day actually
Didn't help that I couldn't be assed to play until my sophmore year
Hell, if I'd started playing back in the Peewees instead of half assing soccer and bowling for a year, who knows what might of happened (I remember vividly thinking that football was wrong for me because I didn't like to "hurt" people)
God, what a dumbass...

The two years i played varsity high school football we went for a combined 1-19.

Thats with the same players we went 16-4 with on JV. Think about it.

Oh, and I was a Special teams player, doing kick-offs and kick-off returns.

North California HS sucks in football for the most part. When I was in high school, we had a lot of overlap between players on our baseball, basketball, and football teams. You see 6'11 guys as DT. Our quarterback was also the punter and kicker. We had some pretty bad records like losing 20 straight games...but other teams in the league were worst.
