Oklahoma is the West version of Alabama.
1. They look similar.
2. History etc.
3. The vast majority of their fans are rednecks
4. They are the only team in their conference that everyone in said conference will pull against despite "weakening" their own perceived "conference strength".

Will choke down the line

Texas Tech, Oklahoma State - both lose-able games as shown in the past. Hell, they could even choke 1-2 down to Kansas St or Texas A&M. Then of course there's the bowl game.

I live in OK, but goddamnit I can't support you OR OSU anymore. You're both disappointing as fuck (inb4 OSU hasn't lost yet - they get Texas this week)

How the fuck can OSU be disappointing? Going to a bowl game is a success at OSU.

The PapaJohns.com Bowl is not a Bowl

Fuck, they used to have Barry Sanders and Thurman Thomas. Now it's LOL WE FAST AND HAVE NO DEFENSE LETS TRY AND SCORE 60!

Are we thinking of the same OSU? I'm thinking of the OSU that was never important ever and lucked into getting Barry Sanders even though they wasted his talent by being OSU. You must be thinking of some kind of Bizarro OSU where the fans have a reasonable expectation for success. In fact, I'll make this handy guideline for you!
North
Colorado - Win the Big XII North after Mizzou implodes
Iowa State - Beat Iowa and be respectable
Kansas - Win the Big XII North and beat Mizzou
Kansas State - Upset somebody and hope for a defense in the next 2 years.
Mizzou - Win while there's still a chance of sustaining success before the door inevitably closes.
Nebraska - Become top dog again.
South
Baylor - Upset some top dogs.
Oklahoma - Go to the national championship and get blown out only to do it again next year.
Okie State - Beat Oklahoma and go to a pretty good bowl.
Texas - Win the national championship. Duh.
Texas A&M - Stop being crappy and get at least 6 wins.
Texas Tech - Don't drop a game they should win (like they do every year) and have a shot at the conference.

Doesn't it seem to be a trend... teams wasting Barry Sanders' talent? I believe that is what defined his career.

You should see Stillwater then. Fags down there are assploding about this year, but even moreso next year.
