This has to be the dumbest argument out there.
Michael Jordan in his Prime: 88-89 CHI: GP: 81 GS:81 MPG: 40.2 FG%: 53.8% FT%: 85% RPG: 8.0(OFF: 1.8) APG: 8.0 SPG: 2.89 BPG: .80 PPG: 32.5
LeBron James Now 07-08 CLE: GP: 66 GS: 65 MPG 40.7 FG%: 48.5% FT%: 71.7% RPG: 8.1(1.8 OFF) APG: 7.3 SPG: 1.8 BPG: 1 PPG: 30.7
The two players played nearly identical Minutes Per Game, yet Michael Jordan dominated LeBron in every statistic except RPG and BPG (Which makes sense since LeBron is a good 2" taller). Also LeBron missed quite a few games this season, and in his early years Micheal didn't have as many injury trouble as LeBron. Now, I'm not doubting that LeBron is a great player, he is, but looking at those stats, Michael is a notch better than him on offence and an entire level better than LeBron on defence.
Now can we /thread this already?
