What's the chances these guys go 9-3 the rest of the way?

Illinois
Penn State
Purdue
Minnesota

Someone brought up the topic, "Never count Iowa out of a big game," (unless it's against THE Ohio State University), so it got me thinking. Is it more believable they go 7-5? Loss to Illinois and Penn State?

As a huge Hawkeye fan (from Cedar Rapids, IA), I think they stand a chance against PSU, but PSU will still beat us (at Kinnick in Iowa City). Probably a low scoring game, around the 40 total points mark. Iowa's defense is better than Michigans, and their offense is coming along quickly.

In my personal opinion, I think we have a chance of winning out, but I see them finishing at 8-4, losing to PSU.

Well I don't see 9-4 possible, and I think they'll lose one between Minnesota and Illinois, so I see them at 7-5, but this is a team on the rise. They just need some better young talent coming in.

Shit. I have tickets to the Minnesota game. Hopefully they don't lose that one, Minnesota fans are horrible.

I'm not sure if I think they'll lose to Illinois, simply because we showed we could stop Juice and the option last year, but this is an away game, and this is to a team needing to rebound.

Shonn Greene will put the Hawkeyes on his back if he has to - I just hope he doesn't get hurt (or get the ball right after he just got up-ended). Stanzi is developing awesomely.

The young talent, I went to school with Keenan Davis (he was a freshman, but still...) and even then I knew he'd be a great receiver, so I'm pumped for that. They'll have a scary, big threat with him.

Honestly I'm shocked with the Gopher's turnaround. They were 1-11 last year (and that win came in 3OT) and even lost to a Division 1-A school (North Dakota State)
