I am not trying to convince /sp/ to change it's mind about the Cowboys. I am well aware of the hate football fans have for the Cowboys, that often will cloud their judgment of a good team. Of course, only time will tell if THIS Cowboys team will win in the playoffs and win in the Super Bowl.
The point I am making is that the Cowboys have the BEST chance to make the Super Bowl of all the teams. Sure, it's only week 3, but look at what the Cowboys have done compared to other teams. They've won against two quality 2-0 teams in the NFC. Which by the way, these wins will be valuable come late in the season. Mark my words. They also went and beat a Cleveland team at home that was supposedly good. Although, we've all seen the disaster that is that Cleveland team. But, the Steelers only beat them 10-6, and the Steelers are supposedly one of the better teams in the AFC?
I just find it extremely funny that the only knock anyone has on this current Cowboys team is what happened in past seasons. Look at the Patriots for example, no one is saying they aren't going to win the Super Bowl this year because they lost it last year. Or that because they lost in the playoffs the year before that. The Patriots won't make the Super Bowl because they are bad this year. I mean using that logic, the only team that should win the Super Bowl this year is the New York Giants. And going by that logic, the only team then to ever win a Super Bowl in the future is the New York Giants. But wait, who won the Super Bowl before the Giants? The Colts. So what happened to that theory last year?
