You all thought I was crazy when I traded Shaq, you tried to assasinate me after trading future all-star Caron Butler for Kwame Brown, Kobe demanded a trade after I turned down the Kidd, Jermaine O'neal, Bulls and Garnett offers so I could keep Bynum

Now Kobes an MVP, I got the best international player in the world during the summer in Gasol, we got enough big, quick guards to throw at Deron Williams and CP3, and my bench is better than 3 or 4 teams starters.

Im waiting, apologize

ok, i'm sorry the league approved the gasol deal which was a farce.

oooohhhh, do danny ainge next!

I aint saying shit until June and your boys are walking off the floor with rings. Until then, get your bitch-ass back upstairs and don't say nothin'.

Sorry to burst you bubble. But everyone in the league defers to think Dirk Nowitzki (7-time all star and current NBA MVP) is the best foreign player in the world. Actually it's unanimous. Now shut your mouth.

DURING THE SUMMER, best player on the best team in the WORLD

During nba season Dirk, Manu, and Nash (up until this season) were are all greater, but can any one be great in Memphis?
>> Anonymous
I think Yao is to fraekishly large for his own good, everytime you think the rockets are turing the corner he gets hurt

Mitch planned it all from the start.

If they still had Caron Butler they would have more rings.

Odom > Butler

Odom completely dominated Boozer defensively

I don't think he would have developed into a better player without the trade.

Why is that funny?

i agree. im very happy with how odom has worked out in LA, and im glad he's doing well in washington.

I rather have Odom than Butler, hes a better defensive player and a great rebounder.
>> Anonymous
Odom is a great fit now that Fish is running point and Gasol is the second scorer. Farmar, LUKE, and Turiaf all play great team defense. They werew hounding the Jazz players like college defenders Sunday

Caron's a 20-5-5 player in points, rebs and assists this season. Not to mention being top 5 in steals. Not saying he's a shutdown player, but with his size and skills, he can influence the way other teams play against him.

Caron would be better, but without Odom's rebounding I doubt the Lakers would still be in the playoffs.

As good as his stats may be, I doubt Butler would be a good fit with the Lakers.

uh....he played for them. i think that issue is settled. odom works better.

fin.

If he did stay with the Lakers, they'd probably be a lot better off. Stats may not be as they are now, but being that it's the same offense that was run in Chicago during the Jordan-Pippen era and LA Shaq era, having a post game, and two all star wingmen can only do good.

Then again that Pau trade wouldn't have happened had they not traded for Kwame, lulz.
