Short of an SEC meltdown or an OU/UT loss, one of these teams is going to get screwed.

so it's all about conference and not who is the best team? OU/Texas/Florida are obviously the best three teams in the nation, but one of the first two are going to get left out on a technicality.

ITT Overrated conferences whose fans actually think the National Chanpionship could possibly be a Big 12 team vs a Big 12 team.

tl;dr Idiots.

I think the actual implication is that Texas and OU are close enough that they should play each other AGAIN, maybe not in the national championship game but then we're going back down the playoff road.

tl;dr bcs is fucking horrible

Even though they got destroyed against Oklahoma, I don't get how they're completely out of the running for everything now. Last time I checked it's a three way tie, they only have one loss, and beat the #2 team in the BCS.

Doesn't matter though, Alabama or Florida will win the NC.

Talking about Texas Tech, my bad.

The only way Tech has a chance with a later loss than UT and OU is if OU loses and it's heads up against Texas, since they have the win.

Regardless, I'm positive the winner of the south will be in the championship game. The real debate comes on whether OU beating OState will cause them to go over Texas if they beat A&M. OState is what, 12? Tough call here, really tough stuff. Either way, a big portion of the Big 12 South is going to be pissed off come next Sunday.

I'd rather see Ball State in a BCS game than an all Big XII national championship, jesus christ

If Florida beats Alabama and Missouri beats the Big 12 South winner there would be 6 teams with 1 loss at the top of the BCS rankings and Utah and Boise St., who have both proved themselves in the BCS, are likely to be undefeated.
