ITT: make international cricket interesting

ITT: Pigs flying, hell freezing over, Toronto Maple Leafs winning a Stanley Cup, and Lions Winning Superbowl.

For other examples of impossible things, see: Making baseball interesting.

Protip: Baseball is just as boring as Cricket. Don't fool yourselves, amerifags, you know it.

Baseball games usually end in less than 3 or 4 hours.

Does anyone even care about cricket other than Indians and Pakistanis? In America it's like the FOB sport of choice.

This is 44824.

That was my point. Both are boring, making them interesting will never be possible.

Ever.

Disband the fucking ICC.

Only game more international than cricket is soccer.

Because the Indians love it to death (and have the most money in it), China will soon venture in.

Also, cricket takes about 9000 gigalitres of steaming McFlurry shit on the fagfest that is baseball.

The Indian national board is doing a pretty damn good job of making the international scene 'interesting' atm.

You mean they're having a BAWWWW because financial investment != on-field talent?

But they have Lunch in cricket! I love lunch! (protip: if you're a fan of lunch, siesta's may be something you also enjoy!)

Cricket's alright but takes a fucking long time to watch a test match. Sometimes you can get into it and watch a full test match, other times you just turn it off.

Twenty20 games are a bit better for the casual cricket fan, big hits, fast pace and so on.

It's not exactly the best sport to watch but like someone said baseball is just as bad in terms of being boring.

>Don't fool yourselves, amerifags, you know it.

So true.

Yeah pretty much. It's what happens when you give billions of $$ to one of the most corrupt sports organisations on the planet, who also happen to have a chip on their shoulder.

From what I understand the BCCI isn't exactly popular among actual cricket fans in India either but they're just too powerful to overthrow.

Fucked up situation because if this 20/20 league takes off and grows larger we'll have more and more players playing for the big bucks rather than playing for their Test team.

i'm actualy suprised that 20/20 hasnt taken off in america yet, its got big hits, its shorter than a standard match and they could advertise at the end of every over.
