OP, no-one can really tell you what team to support, just watch the game and choose a team you like the style of.

I can however tell you to avoid these fuckers

Trail Blazers.

Oden, Roy, Aldridge. And Jack to an extent. And cap room to trade for Vincent Lamar Carter.

Spurs, Celtics, Lakers, Suns, and Mavericks for already established teams with the things you mentioned. 76ers, Portland, Sonics, and Bulls for some good young teams. I hope you plan to play online or have some friends because 2k8 has shit single-player.

>Spurs, Celtics, Lakers, Suns, and Mavericks

Also another stupid question, when i used to watch the NBA it was all about Jordan, are thier any players of similar skill today in the NBA?
>> Anonymous
Give it another 10 years and then you'll be rooting for the London Knights. Bandwagon till then.

>>44983
Similar, but not as good as him. Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Chris Paul.

>>44989
really?

i heard something ages ago about the NFL possibly considering a London franchise.
>> Anonymous
>>44999
.. Don't know about the NFL, but there has definitely been talks about an NBA expansion to europe.

awesome.
>> Anonymous
>>45007
How would that work, if they were part of the NBA? The road trips for teams going there and for the London team coming to America would be exhausting..
>> Anonymous
>>45021
I've been wondering about that too, but hey who knows what Jewstern has in mind.
>> Anonymous
>>44973
The sixers are okay, as long as you want a team that chokes in the playoffs every year they get to it.
>> Anonymous
>>45021
Maybe European teams will have longer periods of home games and road games, and American teams will get more time off before and after their European games. The season will have to be longer anyway with 5 extra teams, so why not make it a bit longer than that.

No Live 08 is far inferior.

The computer can be fucking impossible to beat sometimes. YOU WILL GET FRUSTRATED. But Live 08 is arcade shit.

Also, OP, There was an NBA Off-season exhibition game in London last year, check to see if there will be another game this year, and buy tickets asap.

To the TC: If you're a britfag, get behind the Blazers, they'll have your shitty country's Joel Freeland coming over... eventually, and they're a good young team that's going to be fun to watch and keep you interested for several years.

This is coming from a Celtics fan BTW.

this

nba is only basketball in a figurative sense these days

K, Boston Celtics have 3 really good players, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Sharp shooter, Ray Allen. They are the team to beat right now, today they beat the Pheonix Suns who have Amare Stoudemire(Great Big Guy), Shaq (EveryoneknowsShaq), and Steve Nash, 2 time MVP, 05, 06. Defending Champs are the Spurs, they have Tim Duncan, Tony Parker(French) and Manu Ginobili(Argentinian)... so yeahh...

Go to Yahoo! Sports NBA for all the stats, standings and news. Lebron James and Kobe Bryant are the best players in the world.

Pick the T-Wolves, that way you will not look like a bandwagon fan, or what you Brits call glory hunters. I know you hate all of the Americans that cheer for Man U, Arsenal or Liverpool.

Tottenham Spurs.
