ITT favorite underrated player on your team and why.

Mine would be Freddy Robbins, DT on the Giants. He was drafted in the 2nd round in 2000 by the Vikings and signed with the Giants in '04 as a free agent. He's 6'-4" 317lbs all meat. He gets little credit with the ends getting more of the spotlight, but he's the biggest reason that the opposing QB can't step up in the pocket. This year the Giants made him a captain and it's long overdue. He's already had back to back 2 sack games this year.

That whole D-Line really is underrated, as opposed to Eli, who is massively overrated. Some idiot on ESPN was actually arguing that he's better than Peyton. Really? REALLY? RAAAAAAAAAGE

>Before the season started:

FUCK STRAHAN IS GONE AND NOW WE LOST OSI AND TUCK IS ALL WE HAVE LEFT FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

>Now:

FUCK YEAR, RANKED NUMBER ONE, UNDEFEATED, BEST TEAM IN FOOTBALL, NFC BEAST

I was always saying the D was going to be fine. Tuck=beast, Kiwi=beast. Interior=unchanged. Spags=2nd year there.

I was more worried that with Shockey gone the running game would suffer but it looks like Boss is doing a fine job at his run blocking assignments.

London motherfucking Fletcher. He was the defensive leader and anchored the 99-00 Rams superbowl winning team. He's been a great player on the Bills and now the 'Skins since.

It used to be a tie between Kevin Faulk and ty Warren but then the sports media started actually paying attention to them. Fuckers.

Then it was Chad Jackson but he got cut.

Now I don't know. Maybe Jabar Gaffney.

Was marques colston. I was like man this guy is amazing why don't they throw to him more. Then little by little he got discovered.

Now its pierre thomas. He is a great small runner who goes up and down the field.

He needs to get in the game more as he is a great runner.

This guy is going to be a great reciever eventually, heck he already is good. Getting him off waivers from Denver was a steal.

Agreed, Hixon is amazing. It was great to see him starting for Burress last week. And that reversal he took??? OMG sexy! Totally fooled the D and he's got great speed and shiftyness about him from his punt return position. I think he's probably the most improved guy on the Giants this year. That's what I hear in interviews and articles about the team, that he made leaps and bounds in camp to get where he is as a wideout.

I'm a huge 'skins fan.

there is no player on our team more valuable to the defense than london fletcher. how the rams/bills gave him up is beyond me.

Antonio Pierce for the giants. He's been the defensive captain for a few years now and the giants' line has always gotten more credit than the LB core.

During the offseason he was asked if "team morale was going to lower since Strahan retired". Total bullshit question to ask the captain of the team.

I hardcore facepalmed when that skanky reporter asked him how the Giants were going to find leadership with Stray gone. HE'S THE FUCKING MIDDLE LINEBACKER YOU WHORE. He's the one calling the signals, lining everyone up and just generally taking care of business. I don't know why the Skins gave him up. But I'm happy about it.

gregg williams, our cocky, asshole, ex-d.cord didn't get along with him, so that meant pierce was out. i liked him a lot as a leader and an athlete, but now (as i mentioned a few posts ago) we've got london fletcher, and i don't think i'd make the trade, even knowing how good pierce is.
