I know Columbus is shit as a sports town, but the Blue Jackets organization is actually great in terms of fan relations. I'm not even a fan of hockey and I've found their games to be pretty enjoyable. Plus, the new arena district has vastly improved that area of downtown since the team was started.

In 2006 the Albuquerque Isotopes had 8304 attendees per game in their stadium which holds 12215, while the Florida Marlins had an average attendance of 14372 per game in their stadium which was arranged to hold 36,331 spectators that season. So while the Florida Marlins had an average of 39.5% of their stadium full per game, the Albuquerque Isotopes had 68% of their stadium full per game.

tl;dr: the Marlins are less popular than their AAA affiliate.
