>>406630 I think it's generally accepted that the way LT played the OLB position changed the game, especially from a pass blocking stand point, I'm sure Joe Gibbs would agree. I think Parcells gets some of that credit because he could have tried to bend LT into the normal "read and react" behavior of that position at the time. Instead he gave LT the green light to "when in doubt go for the passer." When I said he turned what could have been a weakness into a strength, I meant that LT, from his own lips, wasn't the greatest at reading the offense. So if he was in doubt for what to do, he would just go after the QB. Since then we see linebackers used more often in a more aggressive attacking role.
