Detroit Lions draft Colt McCoy with the 7th pick of the 2009 draft.

Seems possible.

Leads team to NFC north championship as rookie. Leads team to Super Bowl loss to Cleveland Browns as a second year QB. Next five years the Lions win 4 Super Bowls, and become the greatest NFL franchise since the Pittsburgh Steelers of the 1970s.

OR

McCoy sucks in first year, fans boo him. Throws more INTs than most teams in second year, most of them at least 30 yards down the field. Online imageboard makes "Colt's Gotta Unleash the Dragon" fan club.

He's great, but NFL scouts put a major premium on size. He's listed at 6'3" by Texas but he's not that tall, so he won't be a top 10 draft pick.

Incidentally, McCoy's career ended the instant he was drafted.

If that happens then McCoy will fulfill a lifelong dream of never making the playoffs

More like the Lions will have the 1st overall pick.
