So, now that this thread is over, who is going to pick up Bertuzzi?
>> Anonymous
>>193590

The Canucks will, of course, and then they'll suddenly be a Stanley Cup contender, in their own minds.

Hopefully the Avalanche so they can throw him off a cliff.

Maybe awhile ago, but not too much now. Even though they've been hot lately nobody's thinking they'll make the playoffs still.

Thread is over, but here's baseball's nomination anyway. Fuck their new logo.

Did someone say overrated?
>> Anonymous
>>193661
everyone already agrees with this statement
>> Anonymous
>>193590
lol, probably the Panthers again, they're desperate for anybody at this point. Bertuzzi is the village bike of the NHL now.
>> Anonymous
>>193666
GOD YES. I live in Calgary and people here think the Flames are the hottest shit on ice despite only having three decent players on their whole roster.

HABS.

>>193671
This statement is true. Although the Panthers do have Nathan Horton, Stephen Weiss, and Jay Bouwmeester.

These guys, I'm sick and tired of hearing that they are cup contenders, without Brodeur this team would be nothing.

I feel your pain. But I gotta ask ya, isn't three two more than one?
>> Alakazam !!OEP6m59Bksc

What are you talking about? They've been the most consistently good NFC team in the last three years.

You can blame this asshole.
>> Anonymous
>>193693
I think that has more to do with the fact that the NFC West has been shit for about the past five years than anything else.
>> Alakazam !!OEP6m59Bksc

Fine, you got me there. The Seahawks are still good though, and you can't call them overrated because nobody gives a shit about them anyway.
>> Anonymous
>>193698

Since I live in Seattle, I know that people around here think waayyyy to highly about the Seahawks so they are overrated atleast in this region (of course)
>> Anonymous
>>193698
You can call them overrated because the last 5 years on NFL network and ESPN I've heard the announcers say "This is Seattle's year, they are making it to the Superbowl, guaranteed!" Then they don't make it to the Superbowl, but they do make it in the playoffs because they are in the same division as the Cardinals, 49ers, and Rams... what a division to compete in.

Football "gurus" such as Sean Salisbury, Adam Schefter, Mike Mayock not announcers. My mistake.

double whammy
>> Anonymous
>>193870
They still beat wild card teams from the "superior" divisions, they always make it to the second round, at least.

Actually this and Joe Thornton ends the thread...
>> Anonymous

Well Iginla is top shelf, If Ovechkin wasn't the second coming of Jesus I would suggest he could be the best winger in the league. As for the other 2... umm... I hope you don't mean Owen Nolan... Phaneuf and Kipper?
