Why does it seem every american sport was stolen from the British. Like 'american football' they took rugby gave it a name that doesn't make sense and gave them tons of armour. And you took proper football and called it soccer.

Amerifag here, imo American Football is much different from Rugby considering what i've heard of it, Rugby seems more of a physical game than football but football is more tactical, Teams have 100's of different plays on both sides of the ball and its all about the matchups and play calls, so they are both extremely diff imo. And I cant really disagree with you on US soccer, at least we beat mexico a lot, but isn't that what everyone wants?

does anon know any places to get rugby matches here in the US?

that's a good point.

but soccer is a great game as well, even though there are ties in it.

I also think that rugby and american football are really different.

The problem with Rugby is that it's only meant for a certain type of person. The upper-middle class. Particularly here in England. They all have huge nose, fat chins and talk with an accent as if they have been shafted by the headmaster (they probably have).

Football is universally played, for everyone, by everyone and just requires two markers, a ball and people. There's a reason why only commonwealth countries and the G8 countries + Argentina are good at it you know.

Rugby has absolutely nothing to do with American football.

They are vaguely similar on the surface, but are worlds apart in terms of gameplay
