I live in Philadelphia and fucking hate the Phillies. Suddenly there are Over 9000 Phillies' Fans wherever I go.

Their bandwagon is bigger and worse than the the Bawwwwston Bandwagon

I've been to Citizens....loud while winning, not so much when losing...but that's sports, not bandwagon

Truth, can't dispute that.

Also, that 'bandwagon' effect in Philly are people who are not sports fans normally (especially women) and are looking to fit in now. Those people are everywhere, in every city.

Normal sports fans in Philly stick pretty damn hard with their teams. I will admit that many of us stay pretty undercover during losing times, but our affiliation and interest in our teams never sways.

agreed... i've never seen anyone up and screaming with their team down 7-0 in an elimination game in the 7th inning... it just doesn't happen anywhere... if you think otherwise, you are shitting yourself

Well at least they stay in and boo the shit out of their teams until they lose. They don't get up and leave when things go south.

Bawwwston and 18-1fag here

I've been a Boston fan before any of this crap, and yes I hate the bawwwwston bandwagon....it's irritating, I liked them since the losing 90s and when Bledsoe would throw to non patriot fans. The bandwagon reminds me of yankee behavior. You get used to winning and fucking bitch if you don't.

Sports are about having a common goal, a common interest to provide entertainment and watch the collapses and the triumphs..

I think a Phillies/Red Sox Series would be amazing

Fellow Bawwwwstonfag here.

I was at the game tonight. I saw a lot of people in the REALLY expensive seats getting up and leaving once the Rays were up even 4-0. That's where all the fucking bandwagoners are.

Up in the grandstands, we were booing the shit out of the Rays, and as soon as the Sox started to show signs of life, it was fucking DEAFENING in our section.

Didn't hurt that Papi's home run landed like 15 rows in front of me, either. :D
