Oh snap, and where's tripfag too?!

I believe this falls under the category of, be careful what you wish for. The sad thing is, Georgia should have scored AT LEAST 3 more TD's...

ugafag here, but you're right. also add usc to that list. all of them are certainly capable of beating us, i just hope we get better by the time we play them. bama worries me for sure.

>>352178
Every year is a different story. All those teams look great this year.
>> Anonymous
>>352186
so does georgia. they get better and better as the year progresses, see the entire richt era, but esp the stafford era. dont have the nations longest winning streak by a real team for nothin...
>> Anonymous
>>352157
Your lack of Oklahoma disappoints me.
>> Anonymous
>>352234
i think uga beats oklahoma, tbh. i also don't think oklahoma will make it to the NC, so i don't think we'll meet them anyway. maybe in one of the other two big ones.
>> Anonymous
>>352243
If they beat Missouri in the Big 12 Title Game, do you give the Sooners the nod?
>> Anonymous
>>352243
It's going to be USC and not OU.

>>352201
Yes, but UGA has the most to lose right now, what with them being preseason number 1. Also, I never said that UGA would lose any of those games, but those teams have the potential to beat them.

BTW, UGA has the second longest winning streak right now, I think BYU has the first.
>> Anonymous
>>352257
depends on a lot, but if either of them are only a 1 loss team and oklahoma takes it they'll have a really strong case for the NC no matter what happens. if uga is a 1 loss team, though, and wins the sec championship, i think they have to take one of the spots considering their schedule.
>> Anonymous
>>352276
i agree. if usc is undefeated, obviously they take the spot, and even if they drop one i think they still take the spot.
>> Anonymous
>>352288
Georgia's schedule matches up really evenly against Oklahoma's. It would come down to thousandths of a point if they have the same record at the end of the year.
>> Anonymous
>>352276
Hence, the part where I typed "REAL TEAM"

And the ranking was gone long ago, and was going to be after the pillow fight in LA last weekend anyway. I assure you no one on our team gives a shit about that right now. lol at "pressure" because of a ranking... EVERY game on our schedule is pressure, from S.Carolina on.
>> Anonymous
>>352307
yeah, if both teams were either undefeated or just dropped one random game, beating all their big opponents, it would be a pretty ugly decision. if it came down to a choice between the two, whoever doesn't get the nod has to be super pissed.

though considering uga got kinda screwed last year, if uga didn't get the nod again then i would absolutely RAAAAGE.
>> Anonymous
>>352307
What?! UGA's schedule had 6 teams who were preseason ranked whereas Oklahoma had just 4.
>> Anonymous
>>352328
tennessee is probably the only team we could get away with sleeping on for the rest of the season, kentucky to a lesser extent. they're both conference games, though, so we have to make sure we take them. losing the conference will fuck us out of the national championship again.
>> Anonymous
>>352338
yeah, if you look at it from the pre-season rankings georgia has the toughest schedule in the nation almost without a doubt, imo. the way things are shaping up we may be losing a bit of that respect, though. fucking arizona st lost to unlv, jesus christ.
>> Anonymous
>>352347
Tennessee had no business beating us last year either... nobody is sleeping on that shit bro. If it wasn't for gameday and the hype coming next saturday, THAT woulda/shoulda been the blackout game.
>> Anonymous
>>352328
Well my fucking bad for not having a goddamned mind-link with you about your shitty job at implication.

Where the flying fuck did I use the word "pressure?" And you should give a shit about your ranking with the BCS system. If you drop a game and say OU and USC are both undefeated then you'll lose your chance at playing for a NC.
>> Anonymous
>>352352
Honestly, I couldn't care less what some faggot espn analysts/writers and senile coaches who dont even watch each others' games think right now... nothing matters until the BCS poll much later anyway. And with this schedule, all we gotta do is keep winning and it takes care of itself. But obviously, easier said than done. I for one don't think there's any way we can come out of it unscathed, but even a one loss UGA team should be sitting pretty at the end of the season as long as they're league champion.
>> Anonymous
>>352356
yeah we were the better team last year too, but the way tennesee has played this year looks like they really just don't stand a chance. anything can happen, though, and yeah, since they beat us last year we'll prolly be psyched which is good news.

i was so happy that south carolina scared the shit out of us last week. it seems like every season we fuck one game up and then start playing for real, but this time we fucked up and still won, so that was great news.
>> Anonymous
>>352370
oh yeah, obv if we're undefeated we get to the NC. if we can drop one and win the conference still i think we make it to the NC barring an undefeated oklahoma and usc, also. it's even possible imo for us to drop two and still get to the NC, which would be weird to see happen two years in a row.
>> Anonymous
Here's how the BCS will work, people.

- If USC wins out, they'll claim a spot. Simple as that.
- If any team goes undefeated through the SEC, they'll claim the other spot. Again, simple as that.

- If USC has one conference loss OR the best SEC team has one loss, an undefeated Big 12 team will claim a spot.

Regardless of the rankings RIGHT NOW, USC has the inside track and then the SEC teams. The Big 12's best teams (Oklahom, Missou, Texas) come after that.
>> Anonymous
>>352432
yeah, that's true. i won't be too excited about it, though, as i'd expect either a 1 loss USC or a 1 loss LSU/UGA/UF to take down even an undefeated oklahoma pretty handily. too early in the season to really say, though. oklahoma could be way better than i expect.

RAGE

USC is the most overhyped piece of crap program in college football in the last 30 years

they play a bunch of womens programs out west, and teams that only look decent because tehy are looked at relative the rest of the crap teams out west

go to hell usc fans
>> Anonymous
>>353261
incorrect
usc is the only team not in the sec that could be in the sec and not go straight to bottom and hang out with kentucky and miss st.
>> Anonymous
>>353261
amen. University of Sucking Cocks would be 5-7 if they played in the SEC or ACC.
>> Anonymous
>>353275

sorry, they may not go straight to the bootom but they'd hang around the middle after getting shalacked by Florida, LSU, Auburn, Georga and maybe even alabama

the SEC doesnt have any paper tiger teams like Oregon, Arizona State, UCLA and California who give West Coast writers a boner because they had a decent season in one of the last 20 years.

that's how the pac-10 works, the west coast writers ride pac-10 dick every year because they feel the "East Coast Bias" doesn't give proper credit to their shitty teams and their shitty schedules

USC is entrenched as the #1, and will get an auto-bid if they run the table. If someone goes undefeated from the SEC, they're the second spot automatically. Everyone else is shut out, regardless of what they did.
>> Anonymous
USC plays NOBODY. Literally NO ONE the entire year. They schedule softies so they can just hang around at the top because their writers shill for them, then they wait for the SEC teams to beat the crap out of each other then they slide in the National Championship game like they deserve to be there.
>> Anonymous
Who else are the west coast writiers going to vote for in the top 25? they have an entire coast full of crap teams so USC is the only option. Meanwhile the rest of the country divides up their votes between florida, georgia, oklahoma, LSU, Texas, and THE Lolhio State university

Didn't the USC-OSU game start at like 5:00 PST? I know the sun was out for almost all of the first half watching it on TV

I dont wanna direct this toward any specific anons, but you do know that OSU landed in Los Angeles on like wednesday, right?

Its not like they landed on the same fucking day they played USC. And the game was at 5 but whatever.
