Looking forwards to orlandos pick

Russell Westbrook will probably slip into the Kings lap.
>> Anonymous
I'm hoping that the Rockets draft CDR.

But based on Morey's last draft I have no idea what he's gonna do.

do the pacers dump O'neal to get two 1st round picks?

some people are saying they get D.J. Augustine and Roy Hibbard at 11 and 17.

that can't be right, can it?

Duke fan here, yet glad to see executives probably won't take Demarcus Nelson.

MOSTLY because he frustrated me almost as much as Josh Mcroberts and he was stupidly, stupidly drafted high.

And while I've learned to love the Clipers due to them simply being Duke west [Brand, Maggette, Ewing for a while..Livingston was gonna go to Duke [hell, they even signed Cherokee Parks for a while]]

I wouldn't mind seeing Brands ability being wasted even longer. Chicago trading him after being ROY..what?

SAVE ELTON BRAND SOMEBODY

Unless they absolutely LOVE Hibbert, I don't see him going that soon at #17.

But i've been wrong before.
>> Anonymous
>>186139
i agree, hibbert is not patrick ewing
>> Anonymous
>>186139
apparently Larry does love Hibbard, pacers have all but traded away jermaine to the raptors for 2 geezers with expiring contracts and the 17th pick tomorrow, and they said they'd want Hibbard at 17.

I repeat, that can't be right, can it?

Surely a top 10 pick. Prediction is Milwaukee, combo with Yi.

OJ MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I don't think Beasley will be a bust, but I don't think he'll be a star either. He seems like an Antwan Jameson type with better low post skills and shot blocking ability.

The NBA draft confuses me.
As an ACC/SEC follower and the only sport I care about being basketball, I usually latch on to the NBA draft and follow everything about it because it's all I have left.

The one year in college rule is pretty good, it probably will keep us from having an equivalent to Kwame Brown, but all it really did was instead of making executives look at insane highschool stats to judge players [when the best college players usually had those same insane stats..] they look at guys who know they'll be there one year lobbying for a lottery pick.

I don't really know where I'm going with this, and my bias aside..I can't believe Chris Lofton isn't projected even as a second round [Seriously, if Trajan Langdon was a first rounder, why can't this guy be in the 2nd at LEAST.] Same with Sean Singletary, he's a scoring talent, can get to the rim and is an above average passer..he can't be THAT much worse than D.J. Augustine. Singletary didn't have any success due to being in the ACC and having a pretty average team overall, but Lofton was at a solid program which did really well.

I get that it's about body type, overall athleticism, potential to build. But it's also to much about big Programs ignoring guys who put up solid numbers and weren't completely lobbying for a position. I get that Singletary is no Beasley in terms of statistics, but he put up solid numbers his whole career and is getting looked over.

[note that i'm actually not a Virginia fan or a Vols fan, 1
and Sean will probably go late 2nd..]

>>18706
As a Duke fan, he shouldn't be drafted and he won't pan out. He doesn't even have the Duhon factor of managing to be decent after disappointing in college..whatever that is
>> Anonymous
>>186937
All i see is poor defense and a guy that likes to dunk. His percentages are low, and his offensive game looks all about trying to get penetration.

D-League material. Unless the bucks really want to get yi a translator. Fuck that. You're in america, learn2english.
>> Anonymous
>>187484
Yeah I saw that in his bio. Wonder if his english is full of, "Herro I pray backetbarr". But he could make that Bucks front court a bit more athletic and make that starting line look good on paper.

I hope Seattle trades with the heat to get rose/beasley. That is assuming they stay in seattle though, if they leave for Oklahoma I hope they take Bayless, I still have no idea why he is rated so high, he is way overrated.

Oj doesn't remember what his favorite class was called?
Curious...
Also Eric Gordon put 'y' instead of 'my' and I sent in a comment as Miss Manners correcting him but of course nothing humorous will ever be let in there >:[
