Amerifag here. Anyone else pulling for Newcastle United? I started following a few days ago and decided this was the team I was going to root for. So far so good.

Meh, whatever floats your boat. You just won't win anything. Ever.

You won't get that either.

You should play Steven Taylor in net whenever Given's injured.

I don't know your club yet, but I can assure you: Once I do, I'll hate you and the team you support.

>Harchester United Football Club (also known as The Dragons) are a fictional Premiership football club from the heart of Midlands in the television series, Dream Team.
Now I just feel silly. Thanks.

Dream Team was a feeder show to Hollyoaks. That speaks volumes for the quality of that programme.

If you want exciting football, pic some club in champions league and watch it.

I don't want to pick gauranteed winners/champions. That's so boring and predictable. I want some twists and turns from a pretty decent team. I have come to understand Newcastle United is where it's at for my needs

amerifag here. I watched a couple episodes of Dream Team on FSC. It was very corny but I was oddly fascinated by it. I watch it whenever I have free time.

pick a relegation-threatened team. I don't think Newcastle would be one.

Relegation battles are 20x more awesome than matches for 1st place.

Pick Blackburn
Roque is fucking dreamy

Sorry, I've already chosen Newcastle's Michael Owen
>> shit man... fcbarça
football isn't about winning or losing, it's about the game. You either win or you fail, but you must always play like a Champion. One team that fits that profile is FC Barcelona. It has been arguably one of the best teams in the world when it comes to gameplay, but hasn't so many titles in their possesion.

If you root for Barça, you'll have the good games, the bad games, the EPIC ones, and you'll just love football. No matter the score, with barça you're in for a good game.

Of course, that's not always, and sometimes you'll wish you could kill someone in the team so that they bring back the Barça you've learnt to love.

I fucking hate barca, but now that they don't have ronaldinho, I can hate them a little less
>> Harchester United F.C.

Feel free to hate Chelsea, Everton, Birmingham and Rangers then.

I don't really care.

Also, Aston villa are insane atm support them.

Well at least Arsenal are semi-decent...

And Everton are brilliant...

And Villa are going to go on a rampage this season...

Celtic though? You can kiss my arse.

everyone with half a fucking brain knows football is ONLY about winning, get a fucking clue
>> Phillyfag
What's a good EPL team for me to support?

They must be like a Philadelphia sports team, therefore:

1.Must not have been league champion for a very long time (preferably 30 years or so)

2.Still must have been competitive enough to heartbreak their fans time and time again

3.Preferably should have fans who the rest of the nation hates (like us)

Chelsea all the way for me but it's good to see an amerifag who doesn't support Manchester United just because every foreign fuck seems to. Also it's nice to stear clear of the big 4.
