Alright /b/, here's what I don't get about The Bret Favre Saga. Now as a Bears fan with a vested rooting interest against the Packers and unable to even comprehend the idea of my least favorite player in the NFL in a Bears uniform, I've followed pretty much every step every step of the fucked up way.

The real question here isn't if Favre is in, "The right mental place to lead the Packers," but whether he's going to win more games than Aaron Rodgers. Outside the Packers organization, apparently, not a single reasonable football fan on this planet thinks the Packers are better off with Favre. I get the sense even the Packers don't believe it because they won't even let the two practice together. Despite all this, the Packers contend they're a threat to win the Super Bowl with Aaron Rodgers. Basically, they think that a guy who can't handle the pressure of being ahead of Favre on a depth chart can totally handle the pressure in a Super Bowl. Still, even if Favre comes back, he'll probably blow dick. OP is the last pass he threw, a back-breaking interception to secure a loss in the NFC Championship to a team QB'd by Eli fucking Manning. Fuck the Packers.

1. Nobody cares what you think, you are a Chicago Fails fan.
2. The Packers will no doubt be better next year with Brett, no one is going to argue that. What they will argue, and the reason that they are reluctant to sign him, is the long term ramifications that such a deal would bring. Aaron Rodgers is in the last year of his contract. He has had to sit for four years and watch with a clipboard. Do you really think he's just going to put up with one more year and take one for the team? If we don't give Aaron time this year, he will tell us to go fuck ourselves and sign with SF or TB or some shit. We need to work Aaron and give him our support.
3. Brett's last pass was in an NFC Championship game. The Bears didn't even get to the Playoffs last year.
