Barca are the biggest spenders so far. About 70m€, and I expect another 2 big signings(striker+winger/attacking midfielder).

Also
> Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is prepared to pay £85 million for Liverpool star Fernando Torres.

=107m€/170m$

Roman is batshit crazy,lol.

Barca just signed Henrique Adriano Buss this week from Palmeiras for about €10m . He's a 21 year old defender, will probably be loaned out for a season or two.

Still more to come - Arshavin, Adebayor, Villa.....? Lots of rebuilding going on.

That would be a damn silly transfer, and I'm a Chelsea fan.

Not as silly as £30m for Adebayor though, or for Sheva...

You'll never get Torres from us!

I read that Chelsea have a budget of 250m, so, Chelsea.

I read the same thing last year, and that year we spent what... £15 mil? During the summer, that is.

Though I'm pretty sure we'll see another one or two signings before the end of the transfer window.

My hopes is that it'll be an Arshavin-style attacker and a winger. That could lead to a new Gudjohnsen/Hasselbaink combination up front, which would be fantastic to see.

Barça have not signed Henrique. Ajax are also interested, but no deal is done.

Chelsea has been doing everything they can to buy Kun Aguero from Atletico Madrid but he isn't for sale. Atletico will be spending some good money this year.

Chelsea is gonna buy Robinho which would be like 40m

then, they need someone to fill Lampard.

I honestly think he'll go for about half of that. After all Real have still got Sneijder, Robben and are doing their best to get Ronaldo, at the same time Robinho is said to have been a bit of a problem outside of the pitch, all of this should reduce the price to about £16-20m, but I'm just guessing.

Also I guess Deco is supposed to be some sort of replacement for Super Frank if he leaves, my hope is that they'll buy an attacker and try some 4-4-2, in that case they'll have Essien/Ballack/Deco/Mikel competing for 2 spots, and that is if both Sidwell and Makelele choose to leave.

I haven't honestly read all that much about kun Aguero being a target for transfer, but I'd love to see him in the blue shirt.

My greatest concern is how Robinho and/or Aguero will adapt to the english game, and if they'll manage to avoid injuries.
