I'm not rooting for the entire division... in fact, I fucking hate the Colts. They're overrated, weak, and the subject of every sports article only because no one wants to do any real reporting. They play in a division agaisnt two expansion teams and a relocated team that was formerly famous for always losing big games.

... but the whole set was .500 or above last season, and they are coming to FUCK your shit UP.

Uh, they're just a fucking good team.

And what does it exactly matter if a division has a relocated team and an expansion if they're all...well, good? It's the NFL after all, and it is parity-ridden. Jacksonville can hardly be classified as an expansion franchise any more. They've been to an AFC Championship and have had numerous playoff campaigns.

But yeah, this all reflects poorly on the Colts.

Usually SEC fags. I think its mostly because of all the inbreeding that goes on there.

>>220040
SEC"fag" here, and yes that's largely true. A lot of fans of SEC programs wear the conference like a badge of honor, but I'm only a Tennessee fag. I say this to everyone, and /sp/ is no different, but apparently it's a foreign concept: the SEC can go fuck itself. Conference loyalty can go fuck itself something hard. Anyone who wants a program to win a particular game because of a conference line is the cancer that's killing America.

You have the Titans and the Texans in the same division. I don't think so.

The best division in Football is still the NFC East.

I agree with this except for the NFC east being #1. The Colts/Jaguars have done more in the playoffs than the Giants/Cowboys. Yeah Giants won the SB, but Colts won the one prior. Titans are comparable to the Redskins, Houston is way better at this point in time than the Eagles.

AFC East deserves to be over NFC North.

Patriots > Green Bay > Minnesota > Bills > Jets > Lions > Bears > Miami

If you give the teams points from 1-8 (8 for the patriots, 1 for Miami) you have it 18-18, but the strength of a division is best judged at the top, and the AFC East has the patriots.

My hometown university plays in Conference-USA, so when Memphis kicks our ass in basketball, and makes it to the championship, you better believe we support them. Conference hating only applies when its a bitter rival going for the championship, ie. Ohio State in the BCS, while Michigan is at home NOT watching the game.

not set in stone. i can understand if somebody puts the AFC South or NFC BEast at the top. but the AFC East is shit

18-1 is the only thing they have. bills are a joke (saying this as a WNYfag). the fins almost went 0-16 and the jets are garbage

the NFC is better only b/c the bucs and panthers are decent (saints are obviously better)

this is even sadder b/c as shitty as the AFC East is, the both West divisions suck ass

I don't mind people supporting their entire conference, because with one notable exception most people do it with some level of sanity.

The exception of course is the SEC... their fans are simply retarded. The SEC road to success is as follows:

Step 1: Get overrated year after year and get undeserved preseason seeding.
Step 2: Beat up on each other's mediocre teams and cupcake out of division opponents all year so you simply exchange seedings instead of the conference ever losing anything like they deserve.
Step 3: Sing the praises as your mediocre teams all have seeds at the end of the year because of this.

There is no profit, because as most everyone outside of the SEC knows there is no benefit from this cycle.

You want strength of division?
1. NFC East
2. AFC South
3. AFC North
4. NFC South
5. NFC North
6. AFC West
7. NFC West
8. AFC East

The NFC East, AFC South and AFC North are all loaded divisions that have multiple teams that could win it all; the NFC South and North are wide open, but each has more than one team that could contend in the playoffs, assuming they don't suck (Falcons and Lions excluded, they aren't even going to get to 10 wins combined, lol); with the last 3 divisions, there is one good team in each division, and everyone else sucks ass. I simply listed them in order of how shitty those the other teams are, and how easy it will be for that one team.

Really, the NFC East is the strongest by far, and the AFC East is the weakest by far. Any team in the NFC East could win it all; no team other than the Patriots in the AFC East will even finish at or above .500 this year. The Pats could go 16-0 again just because their division is the shittiest in all of professional sports, hands down.

At the start of last season, I am pretty sure no one here would imagine that the New York Giants could win the superbowl and caused 18-1 epicness. With that said, I agree with>>220326

Shit, you got me on that one.
But really, four of the six divisions in Baseball suck ass, so I guess I should have just excluded the MLB. At least no division in Basketball or Hockey sucks as hard as the AFC East.
Also, really, does anyone think the Dolphins, Bills or Jets can get to the playoffs, much less win if they do? Yea, I thought so.
