Well, your fail at replying aside, you are getting a bit ahead of yourself here. Take it from a wings fan: you dont' start talking shit until at least he second round.

There was no failure at replying. It was intentional.

I think you should delete this thread Anon. It's fuckin pointless and this sort of attention whore behavior is only expected in the shitty parts of 4chan like /v/ and /b/ (now one and the same).

Well in that case you're poor mannered. And still getting ahead of yourself.

Look, the ducks are a good team. A very good team. But winning the Cup twice in a row is very very hard and takes more than just being good. It takes a lot of luck, a goalie who's on fire, and near inhuman determination. The only time I can think of was 97-98 red wings, and they had one of the greatest tragedies in Wings history to motivate them to it.

I'm not saying it's not possible. I'm not even saying it's unlikely. I'm just warning you to at least wait until the playoffs start before you start strutting around with your destiny talk. There's still a month of good hockey left. Enjoy it. The playoffs will come soon enough.

How can you support a team with this piece of shit, without feeling dirty?

Anon. I admire your dedication. Really, I do.

I'm just warning you, is all. If you go into the playoffs honestly expecting that nobody in the world can beat your team, you're setting yourself up for a fall. I used to do that, and then the wings went out in the first round three years in a row. That attitude does two things: it makes you value a win less, since you expect it anyways, and makes losing that much more painful. It decreases happiness and increases misery.

You should be happy your team has made it to the playoffs this year, and go into the playoffs expecting nothing but some good hockey. Expect your team to work hard. Then, even if your team does lose, you've got nothing to be unhappy about. Your team was one of those lucky enough to get that far.

So yeah, root for your team. Cheer them on, support them with as much fervor as you can drum up. Hope they win, but don't expect it.

We beat the best of the best last year. Who needs luck.

You, sir, are an overconfident douchebag.

... take it from a Wingsfag, that's NOT how you should think, come playoffs time.

...have you ever played hockey?

*sigh* Yeah. Yeah it really is.

10/10 for actually getting me to attempt to reason with you. But if you're honestly going to say something like "who needs luck" in regards to the Playoffs...then you have never seen a hockey game in your life and have no idea what hockey is actually like.

If you want to be an asshat, I shall leave you to it, sir.
