Andre Johnson Anonymous
Best wideout in this era? If you say no tell me who betta and give me proof!
>> Anonymous
Was outperformed by Bernard Berrian.
>> Anonymous

fastest wr to reach 450 receptions
>> Anonymous
Bernard Berrian wasn't double teamed all day, and Texans secondary sucks balls. Which is why Berrian looked like Randy Moss today.
>> Anonymous
Randy Moss is still the best even if he isn't playing well. He's the best receiver of all time.
>> Anonymous
Boldin is a good argument.
>> HKK !h7MHU9L/Oo
Boldin and Fitzgerald. Calvin Johnson in a few years too.
>> Anonymous

18-1
and Jerry Rice says hi.
>> Anonymous
Calvin Johnson = NO
Fitzgerald = NO

And if someone mentions T.O. I will piss my pants in laughter.

Do you know what the two highest scoring offenses in the history of the NFL have in common?
>> Anonymous

they both had randy moss

Moss and Boldin are good arguments, but I draw the line there.

Hate to say it, but Randy Moss. Steelers fag here.
>> Anonymous
Fitzgerald and Boldin, but then again I'm biased towards THAT. BIRD.
>> Anonymous
Randy Moss is definitely better, and although he's getting older Marvin Harrison is still one of the best receivers.

Also, Boldin has better career stats than Johnson in nearly every category.
>> Anonymous
>>448767
Actually, now that I'm looking most of the top WRs on alot of teams have better numbers.

This thread sucks.

wide receivers, not runni- oh wait...
>> Anonymous
No obvious pick for this generation, best all-time is Mr. Rice obviously.

This gen arguments could be made for Moss, A. Johnson, Fitzgerald, Boldin, Steve Smith, even Greg Jennings.

Personally, I think A.J is one of the best in terms of raw consistency, but I like Boldin the best, his playstyle is brilliant. Houshmanzadeh would be a great pick too if he wasn't on such a crap team.

Theres this receiver thats half everyones size still gets double teamed and still dominates....maybe youve heard of him... respect that he is the best or he'll knock you the fuck out
>> Anonymous
>>448789

let me reference, Randy Moss is obviously the frontrunner there. I do feel that many of those other receivers would have done just as well in the systems Moss ran though.
>> Anonymous
I had no idea about Andre Johnson, but panic-stricken, drafted him second round for my fantasy team on a whim.

Needless to say, now I'm a fucking believer in this guy. Dude can fucking play, flat-out. Makes circus catches, runs clean routes. What's the knock on this guy?
>> Anonymous
steve smith is 5'6'' tall and still is one of the elite wr in the nfl....exo facto he is the best
>> Anonymous
>>448789
At his best Moss is better than Rice.
>> Anonymous
Plaxico Burress has better numbers than Johnson.
>> Anonymous
>>448797
There's no knock, there's just alot of WRs out there that are just as good, if not better.
>> Anonymous
>>448790
this.
>> Anonymous
>>448805
If Moss is so much better than Rice, why hasn't he won a championship? Rice won three.
>> Anonymous
Pound-for-pound, no one doubts that Steve Smith is the greatest WR playing today.

But I think I still like Desean Jackson's chances if you give him a couple of years. >_>
>> Anonymous
>>448819
isnt he the receiver that doesnt know to cross the goal line before dropping the ball?
>> Anonymous
>>448797

Proves that Andre Johnson is the most underrated player in the league
>> Anonymous
Yeah... But he gets to the goal line with the ball in his hand. So it SHOULD be an easy fix.
>> Anonymous

Saying a receiver is the best "pound for pound" is stupid when having a big receiver is so valuable in the red zone.
>> Anonymous
I know, I'm not putting a lot of stock in it. But it's also true, and it seems to make the Smithfags out there happy.
