What does work in college though, is running QB's that have designed plays to use them to their fullest, not as passers, but as rushers. They get into the NFL and are expected to now play just like Brett Favre. Sorry, that's not where their talent lies.
So yes, well designed plays to use a rushing QB like he was used in college WILL work. Expecting them to run only when a passing play fails to work, just won't. And those saying it can't work, how the fuck do RB get yards? Oh yeah, designed running plays that get them through holes in the defense. The same type of plays work in college and the NFL, and the plays that work for a QB in college can be adapted to the NFL.
NFL teams are resistant because it's "old school".
