Sup /sp/ eurofag here, I got a question.

I'm trying to get into the game that's FOOTBALL. And was wondering what would be good place on the net to learn the rules and what not. Since Madden09 is blowing my mind.

Obviously I've been there.

I was more thinking in the sorts of playbooks and what plays are best in certain situations. And what blitz's are etc etc.

Actually I learned the rules of football as a kid by playing NFL Quarterback Club, so playing Madden wouldn't be a bad way to learn.

I learned in little league.

I would have gone pro..if it wasn't for THAT game..

PROTIP: Real American football is nothing like Madden 09. There's 30 minute breaks in between each play.

all you need to know is that football and rugby are like chess. American football is like checkers.

Just watch football. Sunday night games are are streamed live on nfl.com. I don't know if you can view them from outside the U.S, but maybe through a proxy?

Yeah, in checkers, there's only one play. Unco-ordinated tackling.
