>>212426 Rays fans make me sick. None of them have watched baseball before this season, and they are quick to be as arrogant as any other fan who has been watching baseball for a respectable length of time.
Rays fans, like OP, never associate themselves with their team, because they can't. They are new to this, they really don't give a shit about baseball, and it sickens me.
I've been a Met fan my entire life. When the Mets are doing badly, I say "We totally suck right now; I hope we can pick it up for the next series." When they are doing well, I say "we're kickin' ass lately." The biggest part of that is the "we."
I consider myself a die-hard fan. I live and die with this team on a daily basis (and I despise that occasional off-day). I have become assimilated to this team. I feel that I am a part of the Mets, as a fan. I've been with this team longer than any current player on that roster has.
You Rays fans have to stick with your guys. They're your team. They are shit without you. By calling them "they" you show you're inexperience with pulling for a team.
Talk to me in ten years.
tl;dr Rays fan are morons.
