"up there?"

You're aware melrose is canadian, right?

And hell, why not. I'll take Bob McKenzie so we can round out all the major channels that cover hockey.

Somebody needs to get hal emmerich, though...

>ESPN broadcasts primarily out of its studios in Bristol, Connecticut; it also operates offices out of Charlotte, San Francisco and Los Angeles

Also Crosby is simply unstoppable. Wouldn't you agree Don?

I guess this thread is a good place yo pose the question:

What team is the underdog for the playoffs?

I'm sorry, the fact that there's a don cherry post and it involves a suit that isn't eye-boiling is inexcuseable. I shall rectify.

Unlike the ESPN and VS hacks.

I'll say the Bruins if they make the playoffs, the offense have been absolutely dreadful.

Amerifag here, if only we had Hockey Night here but alas...

Some of us do. I cherish my HNIC, knowing how lucky I am to have it.

But sometimes I wish that they'd be a little less nationalistic. Cherry sometimes comes off as some kind of canadian millitant.

One of the few good things about living in Michigan, we get CBC
>> Anonymous
>>35117

True that. Sucky economy, sucky job market, sucky housing market, sucky weather (well, currently pretty nice but in general winters are miserable. Not so cold as further north...but miserable and grey)

...but at least we have our HNIC and our Red wings.

ESPN's National Hockey Night theme > Hockey Night in Canada's theme

>>35124

I must respectfully disagree.

Especially since there hasn't been a whisper of espn doing anything with hockey for...what? 4 years?
>> Mazarin
>>35131

It could be 20 years from now, the NHN theme will still be better. The NHN theme gets me ready for hockey. The HNIC theme gets me ready for bingo.

OP here: We get CBC in New York but we need NHL CENTER ICE which is $119 for half the season.

And in all seriousness, the CI feeds are shit. I got the playoff CI pack as a gift last year and I never watched it. Terrible Quality.

HNIC are generally my favorite hockey broadcasts to watch, followed by TSN. A lot of hockey fans in Canada get their local team feeds from the regional sportsnet channel which is alright, but as a Canucks fan I can't fucking stand John Garret half the time. Jim Hughson is cool though.

OP: I do get NESNHD with my Time Warner HD package so I can watch the Bruins. Still I do like to watch hockey and it's never on to many channels unless the Devils, Rangers or sometimes the Islanders.

That's why I wanted to pick up Center Ice.
