Denver Bronco defense: Not as bad as it appears.

While watching the games, I've noticed a trend. Denver's D is actually very good. Not the best, but still good. Teams start racking points up against them when Denver is already up by 3 Touchdowns, and they start taking chances to put it down the field. If the Broncos can stop desperate teams, they'll start closing games better. (an INT or two will do that)

What say you?

Yeah, they fall asleep once they get up 15+ points.

They have also played the chargers and the saints in back to back weeks. Two teams with ALLOOOOTTTT of weapons.

I think they are probably in the bottom half of the league but not 28th like they are ranked right now

Yes, it is.

And I'm a Broncosfag, so don't rage.

Unfortunately, this.

I think they'll outscore enough teams to make the playoffs, and then get dropped in the first round by a team that runs the ball down their throats for 60 minutes.

That's a hell of a lot better than I expected coming into the season though, so no complaints.

IMHO, the Broncos have it lucky. They now know their offense is excellent; this means they can concentrate way more on their D. In addition, call me crazy, but I think it's way easier to improve the D then the offense in mid-season, because there is always way, way more pressure on the offense by fans, tv analysts, the owners of the teams, etc. Plus, the D wasn't half bad the last two years, but their offense was.

Also, the fact the Chargers and Chiefs will be 0-3, and the Raiders will be 1-2 and have just seen their coach fired by their retarded owner who should just die of AIDS already, helps the Broncos out big time.
