uh any time you change a team in a way like getting rid of shaq...theres an adjustment period.

im quite happy with just one year out of the playoffs, then 2 years eliminated, then another championship. theyre on the fast track the way i see it.

How does a team with Dwayne Wade, Shawn Marion, Alonzo Mourning, and Jason Williams do so shitty?

Even teams that are a bunch of nobodies are doing 10 times better than them

Outside of Phoenix and Orlando they haven't had much of a tough run, @Portland tonight will end their streak.

The league has changed over the years, and left Pat Riley in the dust. He sucks, and is done. The only reason the Heat had any success at all was not Riley, but Stan Van Gundy... who is now coaching in Orlando, and having a really, really great season.

Can Riley, and you can be proud of your team again. Until then, Miami fans still have... um... oh, shit. Sorry, dude.

next year they will be on their feet again....i guaran-sheed

Could happen, Portland always gives them fits and for the last 2 games they haven't played at a top level. But I'm still expecting them to win.

>army of veterans

before signing Pau (and DJ Mbenga), the Lakers were the 2nd youngest team in the NBA

With Yao, I don't want to meet Houston in the playoffs. Now, meh. Even though they're still playing well w/o him, I don't see them as really scary anymore. With Yao, it'd be a great series.
