But anyways, it's not the hardcore sports fans who are the bandwagon jumpers, it's the guys who wanna go to the bar with his friends and watch the game. And guess what, people are gonna get bored with this team, no one cares about first to first, or 2nd to first(especially not espn). I think it's stuck around with Boston so much becuase of their comeback and because ESPN is based in the north-east. I mean the Marins won and that was a good story, but next year there was a more interesting story(White Sox i think. Writing this in between innings). When Boston won their comeback their really wasn't a better story next year. When they won last year there is a better story this year. As long as there is a somewhat better story next year the bandwagon jumpers will go to a new team.
