Question for those watching the video streams on NBC.com.
Anyone able to watch it without installing silverlight?

I refused to install Silverlight, then finally did and realized it wasn't all that bad. Kind of a CPU hog but you can open as many browser windows you want with as many streams as your CPU can handle.

watching softball atm. Canada just made a double play against the US, WTF?

I'm watching them on Mexican channels and websites despite only understanding about 50% of what is said. They seem to have less coverage with less bullshit. Like the other guy said, use a proxy. NBC sucks.

I've tried about 8 different canadian proxies for cbc.ca. It still says its not available in my area. Is it just a matter of findind the right one or am I doing something wrong?

Silverlight is pretty good. I was quite surprised. I haven't lagged at all and The load-ups on selected times is surprisingly quick. I have to applaud NBC on their coverage, although I want more. They cover a lot, but until they cover 100% of everything, I will always be disgruntled.

For those who didn't install it because you're a pussy, I say give it a shot. Runs well on FF.
