Curling is actually pretty interesting, but it takes forever to get a handle (yeah, I went there) on the amount of strategy involved.
33257 Basically, curling works like this: you take turns throwing 8 rocks at a bullseye. That is one "end" There are 10 ends. At the completion of each end, you are awarded as many points as you have rocks closer to the bullseye than your opponent.
So...if you have three rocks in a 5ft circle and your friend has no rocks in that circle, you get three points. On the other hand, if your friend has 9 rocks 2 ft from the bullseye and you have 1 rock ON the bullseye, you get 1 point.
