So Patsfags...

Who's thinking they'd like to see a bit more of BenJarvus Green-Ellis?
>> MATT CASSEL !!ZIZEM+9e4u8
Next best running back in the league.

I'd like to see him against a defense that doesn't suck. It's a shame we're hosting St. Louis next week.

Then again, maybe it'll give him some confidence.

The sad thing is he played a lot better than Maroney would've.

Second.
Maroney is fucking overrated, and has only had the luxury of the Patriots o-line making him look good. How many times has he stopped in his tracks at the line of scrimmage to tippy toe back and forth, instead of lowering the shoulder and hitting a hole with a full head of steam.

This why Sammy Morris, Lamont Jordan, and now BenJarvus Green-Ellis have all looked better when they get touches. They hit go storming into the hole, shoulders down, looking to hit someone in the mouth. Lawrence Maroney is busy pretending to be Barry Sanders (PROTIP: He's not).

More like he had the luxury of the GREATEST PASSING OFFENSE OF ALL TIME making room for him and he still couldn't get shit done. He's a bust through and through.

Uhhh? Sammy Morris was amazing too, so clearly it's not just Green-Ellis. Morris would've had well over 200 yards had he not gotten hurt.

Yes... but the big question is whether Morris will be back soon or not. The way the Patriots season has been going, hard to say.

Either way, with Maroney done for the season, and Jordan presumably gone for a while, Green-Ellis will have his shot. If he keeps ripping off 10+ yard runs when they give him a touch, he's going to start getting more touches.

Just be cool to see a guy really make the most of it when he gets that one shot.

I just don't want to see them using dual backs, especially since Morris was already successful ( and on my fantasy team). If Morris is hurt, sure. But i've never been a fan of a multiple back system. I want to see guys rack up stats.

So you're not a fan of the clearly superior double back system because you lose some points on your precious fantasy team?

He was okay, and his back-to-back 10yarders looked nice. But Morris was the true hero today. No, actually, the true hero was the poor Bronco's run defense. Made it freaking easy for the Pats.
