Is he getting too much press? Yes. Is it pretty fucking amazing that in his first year of professional baseball he's an X factor in the World Series? Absolutely.

Most guys in their first year don't make it past A ball.

Facing the most pathetic part of the Red Sox lineup to end game 7 of the ALCS, and allowing 2 runs in 2.1 innings against the Phillies. Yeah, he is an X-factor alright. If I'm a Phillies fan, I'm begging for him to come in. He hit Rollins (pretty sure it was Rollins), and got a free pass. He almost gave the second game away if Howard wasn't a platoon player at best.

I stand by the fact that J.D. Drew didn't swing at his last AB.

cue BUTTHURT. 18-1.

He allowed one earned run, not two. He gave up a solo homer. And to call any part of the Red Sox lineup "pathetic" is a joke.
