Do we have any hope whatsoever of playing in the national champion match?

Yes.

I think you guys should if OU doesn't beat the living crap out of OSU tomorrow. Though at any rate it looks like Florida will have no problem winning the NC this year.

OU loses, Tech loses in the Big 12 CCG is the best shot.

Outside shot of getting in over OU if they beat OSU, but it doesn't look good.

if tech loses we get in for sure since we beat oklahoma in the head to head. Unfortunately theres no way in hell tech is going to lose baylor unless a miracle happens.

I'm going to be channeling victory into Baylor, that's for certain.

Assuming that Texas wins by a decentish amount. TT get in over Texas because of head to head? If so than why not Oklahoma. and on and on due to the three way tie. What are the exact rules here?

if there is a tie they look at the teams head to head.
Ex: we beat oklahoma, so if tech loses we go to the conference championship because we beat oklahoma earlier in the season. However since there will most likely be a 3 way tie the bcs decides who gets to go to the championship game, hence why there is a huge shitstorm brewing because both oklahoma and texas make valid points as to why they should both go to the conference championship.

3 way tie rank scenario assuming TT wins

Arguments:
Texas Tech - we beat Texas at home
Texas - We beat Oklahoma at Neutral site
Oklahoma - We demolished Texas Tech at home

--

Counter:
Texas Tech - you were demolished by Oklahoma - you are done.
Texas - You lost to texas tech in the final second on the road
Oklahoma - You lost to texas at a neutral site

--

My rankings
1. their loss was away and in the final seconds. they won a neutral site game against OK
2. Oklahoma they smashed texas tech, but at home, and lost at a neutral site
3. Texas Tech. won against texas in the finsl second, and demolished by Oklahoma. Not enough

This argument would be reasonable right?

tell that to the voters who only vote by joining the latest bandwagon, hence the reason USC/Ohio State, despite being overrated every year is always ranked in the top 5 and in this case Oklahoma is going to pretty much weasel it's way into Big 12 championship.
