Does anyone think that Mike Vick will play again in the NFL? If so, how do you think he'll play? I mean, he wasn't exactly a great passer, but he was a game changer.

In the NFL? Gtfo!

If Matt Ryan is a bust, than Atlanta will try and get him back. If not, I hear Cincinnati is taking in criminals.

I wouldn't count on him returning though.

Really, I don't think he should have a chance. I think the NFL and maybe even College Football should accept a zero tolerance policy when it comes to committing crimes. One mistake, and you are out.

Yes, this would mean that for a couple seasons football would suck. But, kids who know their only future is football and athletics would clean up their goddamn act knowing that it is their only chance to succeed in life.

Running back, or Tight End.

If Mike Vick does return to football, I think he could find his way on to an NFL team. He's shown that he can take a team to the playoffs. That should be good enough for a few teams to give him a look.

I think Houston, Detroit, Minnesota, St. Louis, and maybe even Tampa Bay with John Gruden would give him a shot.

shit, he'll be the qb for the vikings even faster than you'd expect.

when hes paid his debt to society, he should come back if he can still perform
but im sure if any teams do sign him, there will be massive peta protests outside the stadium/training complex, and no gm wants to go through that headache

If Adam Jones and Tank Johnson can find another chance in the NFL. So can Micheal Vick.
>> Anonymous
Sad to say, but if he does come back, I do think what he did will be forgotten a little and he will be able to perform.

But with Matt Ryan in Atlanta now, I think he's gone from there. Does Atlanta still own his contract/rights?

Believe me, Peta doesn't scare Lions fans. They are desperately trying to break a curse. They would take The Juice if he could still run.

Truthfully, I think the Bears would even give him a look. It's not like Rex and Griese are doing anything great this year.

Yeah, but Pacman and Tank only hurt people.

Vick hurt dogs.

DOGS!

What he needs is a team that understands him. The Pats.

Fit right in.

Nah, his release date is Monday July 20, 2009. Then, I guess, the fun will begin.

Really, I have no idea why Dallas wouldn't try signing him. They could give him a cheap contract because he won't have played in years. Slap him at wide out, like the Steelers did with Kordell Stewart, toss him the ball on a reverse and let him heave it deep.

thats when his federal sentence is up.
wiki says: "His state trial has been delayed until he is released from federal prison.
He faces a maximum 10-year state prison term if convicted on both counts."
uh oh spagettioes

Sounds like he need a GM with balls. A GM that doesn't care what other people think. A GM named Al Davis.

I think I heard he was entering into some drug rehab thing while he was in prison. This could help his image with the courts and help him get out early.

By the way, most people aren't expecting the state to give him anywhere near 6 months in prison. He'll be in a training camp some where in August 2009.

I would love to see him on the field again. Even if it redeems himself to atleast PETA itself, the odds of him being able to play again don't seem good, especially with how Goodell dodges any mention of him in interviews.
