Fuck the Lakers. I'm tired of the fucking Lakers. When they were shitty, we had to hear about how abysmal they were all the time. When they're good, we have to hear about how great they are all the time. Next year, I hope the Lakers have a mediocre season. That would accomplish two things: you couldn't hear about them in the season or (likely) during the draft too much.

Now that I think about it, it's obviously LA. LA teams always get too much credit. USC, for example. I remember during a USC game last year how the gameday analysts were praising the Los Angeles Coliseum for being one of the best stadiums in college football. Anybody with eyes could tell you that place is a piece of shit.

Don't forget UCLA in basketball

And I pretty much agree completely

if they have a mediocre season, they'll get a lot of coverage. they are in the top 3 in the west for the next few years easy, and falling out of the top 4 spots in the West will be HUEG

>next few years easy

how?

What if Kobe leaves next year? What if Bynum never lives up to his potential? Fisher is getting old too.

valid points, but i don't think kobe will leave for the sole reason that he was going to leave because he was getting frustrated with the Lakers FO. they finally did something and got the biggest ripoff trade seen in a while.

Fisher is getting old, but they have a solid bench and Farmer will be a solid backup once he gets his confidence back in his 3-point shot.

Bynum is the one thing that makes me question about this team. the fact that he's still not back on the court when he was supposed to be back in march.

this is coming from a guy who hates the lakers, but it's hard to argue with how well the team is performing, and how solid of a bench they have (mihm, bynum, ariza coming back for next season). however, one thing i just thought of now is how both kobe and gasol play international ball. with the olympics coming up, the question of fatigue towards the end of next season may come into play.

Hey idiots, you heard a lot about them last year didn't you?

And it was a pretty mediocre season by their standards, so shut up.

But that's why we hate them

I enjoy the Lakers coming to the Rose Garden because I get to watch them FAIL every time.
