who do you all think is gonna win the national title? if bama makes it out of the SEC unscathed, its obviously gonna be them, although i doubt we can make it out of the SEC unscathed...

USC should never be ranked in the top 2 again

whoever wins the SEC title will be in the NC, and they'll most likely win it.

Bama decimates Oklahoma. Period.

With the current system I really would not be surprised to see the Buckeyes get back in there. I'm not joking either. They have a pretty soft schedule the rest of the way except for Penn State. If they beat Penn State and Penn State is ranked high, this will make up for the loss to USC and vault them up the bcs rankings. I am a Buckeye fan and I am NOT hoping for this. Ohio State does not have the talent to beat any of the top teams and another embarrassment loss in the NC game is really going to hurt them, and it will happen if they make it. We have a good thing going with Pryor and we need to develop him a bit, and then we can contend for real.

I hope Alabama does make it, they have great tradition and great fans. I live here in Fort Walton beach, FL and I'll tell ya they are passionate. I could see oklahoma vs bama being a great NC game.

while i don't want to see OSU in a NC game because it would take away a legitimate contenders spot, i would love to see them get crushed again so that it will never happen again.

The problem with your argument is that it could happen again because the bcs does not take the previous year into account in its formula. The big ten is always weak, so ohio state will always have a chance until they get rid of the bcs

yeah, but the bcs formula does take the polls into account, and if this shit happens again they're going to have a hard time getting ranked in the top 2 above any other teams with an argument for that ranking.

I think it's going to be an undefeated BYU vs. Alabama or OU, and if the BCS conference team takes BYU seriously, they should win by a couple of TDs.

Its fairly safe to say, unless some batshit crazy stuff happens this year, moreso than last year, that the BCS title is SEC vs Big XII.

The two teams most likely from the SEC are Georgia and Alabama. Florida is down this year, and LSU might creep into the west. But if Alabama can beat UGA again, good for them. In the SEC, thats honestly hard to say they will.

In the Big XII, Oklahoma is likely to drop one at some point, excluding the potential title game against Mizzou. Kansas provides issues for Mizzou, and Texas gives issues to Oklahoma. Mizzou can win the head to head against Oklahoma, but Oklahoma has an easier trip to the Big XII title game.

Based purely on liklyhood's of a team not beating one in the SEC twice, and Oklahoma's easier trip to the Big XII game...UGA vs Oklahoma. Alabama should, instead of setting their goals too lofty, should focus on Atlanta and then the Sugar Bowl, and if they happen to advance beyond that then they would be deserving. But as good a team as Bama has, then beating UGa twice is statistically stacked against them.

Completely agree. It will be a disappointment to me if the NC isn't BigXII vs. SEC.

KSU - will be a good game, but will win
Nebraska - the lulz
A&M - more lulz!
KU - see KSU
Texas - going to be camping out for that game, it will be interesting to see, but i am gunna go with a Tech victory (we're trying out a blackout, how lame? why should we need a ploy to motivate us to win at home)
OSU - very close game i'm gunna say, our run defense isn't too good at all
Oklahomo - we'll have to wait and see, more than likely Oklahomo though
Baylor - Baylor
