BREEEEEEEEEEEEEWER FANS!

Let's make a pact. None of those shitty people at ESPN or anywhere else think we can win, so let's make it to the NLCS and piss off the faggot markets of Chicago and Philly.

We can do it.

+184 to +52

That's why nobody thinks you can win, Dodgerfag.

I support this measure.

I was pulling for the Dodger anyhow.

Take into fact that we didn't have Furcal, Manny, or Blake for 70% of the season.

I give you that much, but I also want to take into account that in a month where they faced a mixture of opponents from around baseball (August) after said trade they were 13-6 and in September, by far their best month, they were 17-8 and only played against the NL West and Pissburgh.

I'm not sure which one is the real Dodgers but I'd take say it's most likely a mixture of the two, a slightly above .500 team.

By 13-6 I mean 13-16

i cannot support the dodgers due to the influx of celebrity bandwagonning that will happen. no fucking way. also i want to piss off the scumbag markets of philly and chicago... the brewers are my only choice. plus i don't feel any animosity toward their fans. plus milwalkee will suffer through a long football season anyway, so lets give them this.

THE BREW BLUE CREW.

LET'S GO BREWGERS.
>> /sp/'s Brewerfag Representative
I think everyone has completely written the Brewers off without even playing one playoff game. ESPN keeps saying shit about how Sabathia is the only starter they have and the only reason they're in the playoffs now that Sheets i s down with an injury. This is bullshit. We won 6 of the last 7 games down the stretch, only 2 of which were Sabathia starts. We have done so well in the last week without any help whatsoever from Sheets, and we even got an unexpected gift in the form of a Yovani Gallardo start, when he was supposed to be on the shelf til 2009. Another starter who had a fantastic end to the year was Dave Bush, who has transformed from the goat to a legitimate number 2 starter in the playoffs. We also got a six inning, 4 hit, one run performance from Suppan on friday night, so I think our starting rotation right now is as strong as Philly, LA, Boston, TB, or Minnesota.

And all year long everyone has been talking about how the Brewers have a bullpen as bad as the Metskies, but let's look at what they've done recently. If you take out "Gas can" Torres, who without a doubt has been terrible, the Brewers bullpen has thrown 23 shutout innings since the start of the last homestand. That isn't just one guy over and over again, but Mota, Gagne, Coffey, Villanueva, Parra, and especially Seth "Big Red" McClung have been absolutely solid down the stretch. I think our bullpen will be fine as long as Sveum stays away from using Torres all that often, or at least keeping him on a short leash. I would much rather have Eric Gagne in there at closer the way those two are pitching.

Brewers, as a Dodgerfag, we must unite.

If we both win, we have a 50/50 shot. We have Billingsley, Lowe, and Kuroda. You have C.C...we have Manny...and you have Braun.

We are pretty even...

WE MUST COME TOGETHER AND DESTROY THE CUBS AND PHILS.
>> St.Feraligatr !VJOf9vVc0E

You forgot the Cubs in your "great rotation" list. This is either a hideous oversight or you are admitting your starting rotation isn't quite as deep.

Other than that though, I find myself agreeing with a lot of what you have to say.

I sincerly hope the Brewers beat the Phillies.

The Cubs will have a much easier time beating the shit out of you than they will the Phillies.

Unless we're losing by at least 5, I do NOT want Gagne doing anything but grooming his beard. Coffey, Torres, Villanueva, and Mota are all better options than Gagne.
