What a shame that the recent repaving/redesign of Bristol's racing surface ruined what could have been a NASCAR track that even /sp/ could love (constant wrecking leading to constant fighting in the pits). Now we can only all like Daytona and Talladega (and barely at that) since they are the only places left where Cup drivers still have a chance to die.
>>395616 I've heard occasional whispers of trying to play a major college game there. It would be nuts if it could be pulled off and would have to set some kind of record. For reference, Neyland Stadium in Knoxville can pack in 107,000 for while Bristol Motor Speedway seats 165,000 for a race.
