If Leafs get first pick, then that actually would be AWESOME! Imagine having Tavares in the blue and white... what dreams may come?

Well, at least this season we have an excuse to suck.

I wish I could've gone the NHL game in London last year, I'd have travelled down (from Manchester) for it. They should bring the Flames next time!

Stop posting in NHL threads. There is only one great team in the West.

I lol'd, then agreed.

If Leafs get Tavares or Hedman, than they got something started. Plus, Brian Burke is planning on becoming the Leaf's GM. Not a bad future I must say, but they still won't win a Cup.

Good thing we got the Hockey Hall of Fame here, because it's the only place where we'll ever see the Stanley Cup.

I think the system of awarding division leaders the top three playoff seeds is fucking stupid
>> Anonymous
>>379927
a-fucking-greed 100%

bootleg divisions always send #3 seeds in many sports

however it's a double-edged sword. you need divisions for the classic rivalries and realignment is retarded b/c it's usually poorly executed

shit like the NFC/AFC West, NHL SED, NL West, etc...are scrubtastic. moments of greatness, but usually shitty

So true and Malkin is better then Crosby

Is there an outdoor game this year? NHL and NBA should have each team play at least one outdoor game.

As much as I'd like to believe New Jersey will win it's fourth Cup this year, I don't think we're deep enough unless some of the young talent coming up from the AHL can hold its own.

I think the Cup will go to San Jose and the #1 pick will go to the New York Islanders.
