Dan Uggla is a real American hero!
>> Anonymous
dan uggla did nothing that lead to an AL run, so scapegoat him all you want, the NL lost this one as a team
>> Anonymous
How was he not the MVP?
>> Anonymous
>>217690

He still made three errors and did a terrible job batting so we can certainly have some laughs at his expense.

Dan Uggla: The Rex Grossman of Baseball.

Seriously, they look alike. Could be brothers.

yes, but NONE of his errors lead to an AL run, so they had no bearing on the outcome of the game.

So if a runningback fumbles 5 times in one game but the other team never actually scores off of them, we're not allowed to critisize him?

You're an idiot. UGGLA SUCKS ASS DEAL WITH IT.

In his defense (pun not intended) the last two errors were tough (the first one has no excuse, though) and they didn't lead to the NL's defeat.

He's had several walk-off and go-ahead hits this year (including a grand slam against the Phillies and recently, a go-ahead double in extra innings against the Dodgers), so to see him come up lame twice in good scoring situations was unlike him. When he came into the game, he seemed like he wasn't comfortable at the plate. It may have been because of his recent ankle sprain, his late entry to the game, or because he just choked.

It doesn't really matter; he technically didn't lose the game. That's Wagner's fault.
