always loved utley as a player even before he became the one man wrecking crew this season (is this guy for real? just went deep again...) hopefully he can stay healthy and not have any freak accidents like last year. can /sp/ say MVP? inb4 jinxing utley...

NL MVP = Lance Berkman

Also, the three sweetest swings in baseball (in no particular order) belong to Griffey, Pujols and Ramirez.

AL MVP > NL MVP?

He's hit what, 20 doubles over the fence?

I would probably have 21 homeruns if I got to play at that poor excuse for a park.

As much as I love Chipper sitting in the 3B slot on my fantasy team, Berkman has more HR, runs, RBI and SBs, and has the higher OPS.

Chipper has average (and people seem to have not noticed Berkman's .385) and OBP, but that's it.

if the season we're to end today.. yeah id give berkman mvp. but he wont stay as hot as he is atm he's known to be a streaky hitter. chipper only has the average, plus hes not a young buck anymore theres a good chance come end of the season if the braves aren't in contention anymore he'll just start sitting games and thats a big NO NO if you wanna get mvp. needless to say if it stays this close its gonna be an interesting vote.

really?

he was one of the most highly-touted prospects in the game, but his career was derailed by off-field issues (drugs). he's always had the tools - just needs to stay clean.
