I sincerely believe Rick Nash is the best thing in hockey right now.

Sure, he plays for a shit team (which I believe will make the playoffs this year), but he has performed some of the sickest goals in recent memory. He doesn't care about secondary points (LOL Crosby), and despite scoring 40+ goals a season, only manages to tally 70-80 points in a season. Still, goalies fear him. Defensemen shake when he's on a rush. He's Rick fucking Nash.

Also, he's the kind of player I want to see more in professional sports. Despite being a Canadian, he involves himself deeply in his team's local culture (he's gone on the record to say he's a *HUGE* Buckeyes fan) and has said that he wants to have his whole career playing with the Jackets. That is fucking admirable. He's not one of these douchebag primadonnas who ask to get traded to a team just to get their name on the Cup. Rick Nash is a career franchise player. He's still young, so his performances can only get better and better.

He means more to Ohio than Lebron James. He's Rick Nash. He's a Hockey God among men.

I'm tired of all you fucking padball/niggerball faggots knocking hockey. Seriously, go make your own thread where you say "18-1" "BRETT FAVRE" and "RAX GRISSMAN durr hurr" over and over.....

Not really. Maybe to CBJ's fans but not to Ohio overall.

If I got the Blue Jackets in my market (NE Ohio) then I would watch them a lot more, but personally my team is the Devils, since I was born in NJ

Dan Ellis does not fear Nash...nor Columbus.

His stats this season are not indicating that.

And he did what in the first two weeks? He recently had a few good games, but he'll fall back down to earth and become that inconsistent player he always was.

5 goals 3 assists and a -4 in 15 games. He's averaging a point in every other game, not what I would really consider a good player.

Superior to Nash.

one 40-goal year four seasons ago, career high 69 points. On pace for 60 pts this year. I've seen some good defense from him this season but yeah, he's not known for it either

WTF are secondary points? secondary assist BS might fly untouched on /sp/ but, post that on a hockey board and see what happens.jpg
