Andy LaRoche says otherwise.

That was no single, I just got distracted with the aroma of tasty cheeseburgers coming from the stands, and messed up the play.

Further proof why CC should win the NL Cy Young.

Pitched a perfect game.

On MLB 2K8

1-hitter.
Sorry fatty.
>> Anonymous
>>308855

9-0. Sorry skinny.
>> Anonymous
tim lincecum should win the CY. this is the one position where a team's record is irrelevant. in fact, i would say a losing team would generally have a more taxed bullpen.

Marry me.

How many pitches was it today?

ONE HITTER WAS ONE
>> Anonymous
i got my johnson sucked while i espn'd your ONE HITTER. i will be getting that mvp award soon. good good.
>> Anonymous
as a yankeefag they better stop making him throwing 120+ pitches a game. i demand that bud selig do something about making cc throwing complete games for no fucking reason.
>> Anonymous
I don't understand. He screwed up the play. Why were the Brewers bitching?
>> Anonymous
Trying to get into baseball.

It's obviously no big deal but just thought i'd ask why baseball players are/look so fat? I know it's not as demanding as other sports but they're still athletes, they shouldn't have such huge bellies.

Or maybe it's just the way they wear the uniform?

He's either going to the Dodgers or Giants.

Sabathia. Lincecum. Cain. Zito.
And they'd still finish with a losing record.

Sabathia. Penny. Billingsley. Kershaw. Lowe. Schmidt.
I don't even know how you would organize your rotation after Sabathia with this group and who you would trade/most to relief. Any of these guys, other than Sabathia, have their contract running out this year?
>> Anonymous
john kruk on sportcenter just called for mlb to expand the replay rule to change the hit into an error. so it begins.
>> Anonymous
>>308563

lol, 0 1 0
>> Anonymous
>>309591
i hope everything comes under the watchful eye of instant replay. that way, they'll cut out all of that fucking pre-game and 7th inning sing songy bullshit.
>> Anonymous
>>309597
they also could put a timer on the pitcher.
>> Anonymous
>>309597
Cut out the 7th inning stretch? Cut out "Take Me Out to the Ballgame"?

GTFO my country
>> Anonymous
>>309591

You actually listen to that fat fuck?
>> Anonymous

> 7th inning sing songy bullshit

No offense, but i'll only agree if you mean God Bless America. There's no need to stop the game and replace a 100-year old tradition for something that should've stopped happening after we this country was all RAGE AT TERRORISTS TAKING DOWN OUR TOWERS. Brings the mood of the game down too much iof you ask me.
>> Anonymous
1-hitter =/= no=hitter
>> Anonymous
They give this assclown a no-hitter I will RAGE.

That was a fucking hit. If you hit the ball in such a way that it resists being picked up, that is a skill and the batter should be rewarded.
>> Anonymous
>>309642
Agreed. I'm tired of sitting through "KATE SMITH'S TIME-HONORED RENDITION" of that song every Sunday home game. Take Me Out to the Ballgame and, as a Brewers fan, Roll Out the Barrel are superior.
>> Anonymous
>>309523

Sabathia, Lowe, Billingsley, Kershaw, Johnson

would be my rotation

Penny has been shit this year, send him to the pen.
>> Anonymous
>>309723
The combo of Take Me Out to the Ballgame and Thank God I'm A Country Boy (Orioles fan, mourn me) or Cotton Eyed Joe (What we use at the minor-league park I work at, with dance) works for me.

Aren't Lowe and Penny free agents at the end of this season?
>> Anonymous
Dodgers rotation next year if C.C. included: C.C., Bills, Kershaw, Maddux, and Dodgers prospect Scott Elbert, and Jason McDonald. Dodgers are full of pitching prospects that can pitch in relief or start at a moment notice.
>> Anonymous
>>309767
oh yeah fuck I forgot about Maddux

What about Johnson? he's looked pretty decent this year
>> Anonymous
>>309767
The Tiger's rotation next year if C.C. and Santana included: Santana, C.C., Verlander, Gallaraga, Bonderman.
>> Anonymous
>>309773

He's going to get non-tendered most likely. Journeyman Jason Johnson really shouldn't be starting for a contender. I rather see Kuo, McDonald, or Elbert earn the 5th spot. All three of them have more talent than ol' JJJ can muster.
>> Anonymous
>>309776
What are we going to send for Santana? Brandon Inge?
>> Anonymous
>>309787
yes, him and Jim Leyland.
