I'm not a huge NBA guy, but I know typical Boston bitching when I see it

> Just as Phil Jackson reached the cusp of catching him with his ninth NBA championship, Red Auerbach was on the telephone, grumbling over the legitimacy of that legacy. The emperor of the Boston Celtics resisted letting Jackson climb onto the coaching Olympus with him, insisting a fatal flaw of the Los Angeles Lakers coach still separated them.

cry some more you faggot, oh wait, you can't. you're dead.

the type of reflective article you won't find on ESPN b/c they have the boston cock balls-deep in their mouth

this is your legacy boston. a crotchety old racist man who bitches to the very end.

maybe bill simmons will stop putting his mouth around the guy's legacy now.

You're right, Boston used to have a storied legacy in basketball. Now nobody gives a shit, 18-1 is Boston personified.

just because its not on espn doesnt mean it's some hidden fact. fuck, steve buckley did an article about this today in the herald. yeah he said those things, but he never denied that phil jackson was a great coach, he was just talking about how jackson chose a team that had jordan, than chose the team that would end up with shaq and kobe. but he never tried to take away from jackson.

and im glad auerbach is the fucking legacy of boston (other than 18-1, im just adressing what OP said.) the guy cared about winning, and was an asshole about it either way (lighting of cigar during the game, bitching about losses). sports need more characters like auerbach.

i will say this about jackson, i loved his comment a few months ago about how the penetration allowed was alot like brokeback mountain. guy has no problems about not being politically correct, gotta love that.
