>>232765 Wade Phillips, a notoriously lax coach, now has two of the biggest headcases in the NFL on his team. A team that, this season, is carrying the weight of some high expectations. A team that, overall, is pretty young and inexperienced, especially at quarterback.
Honestly, what happens if the Cowboys lose a game in a heartbreaker? Lose because of an obvious mistake by the coach or one player? Have a big injury? How with this group react? Will they rally around and suck it up and not criticize each other and get better next week? Or is this the type of team to start backstabbing and criticizing and calling each other out in public? I suspect the latter.
The Cowboys are clearly among the most talented teams in the league. I also think they are an inevitable train wreck, an unstable bomb, ready to blow at the slightest provocation. And that provocation will almost certainly come this season.
