Don't know if you're trolling or not, but here's a little background. Yes, he was hurt. He came in to pinch hit in the bottom of the 9th with 2 out and trailing by a run. He hit a walk-off homer off Dennis Eckersly (Widely considered the best closer of that era) to win...Game ONE of the World Series.
I mean, it was a good homer, but I can think of a hundred plays in sports history that are better. ESPN reruns this play like its the end-all be-all of Home Runs. Where's the love for Maz's walkoff, which won GAME 7 of his respective WS?
