ESPN wanted Charles Woodsen to win it just as they wanted Tim Tebow to win it last year. Charles Woodson was to be the first primarily deffensive player to win the Heisman just as Tim Tebow was to be the first sophmore to win it

denied because he was a Freshman, what a load of shit.

Some voters even said that was the reason they didn't vote for him

He actually deserved it up until that point, but the majority of the hype was already behind Tebow. It didn't really matter what Dixon did.

NO.

He was never particularly good at throwing, he ran on his own alot and had a pretty devastating knee injury. But hey, he still has 3 or 4 billboards here in town.

The short answer is no, QBs like him won't win championships in today's NFL. Tripfag Phil, a clear Duck hater, forgets that he had a very high passer rating and completion percentage in his 2007 year prior to his injury. We'll have to wait and see if he plays like 2007 Dixon or 2006 Dixon, the interception machine.

You can think of him as a less accurate Randall Cunningham.

more like tavaris jackson that never plays

Should have been:

1. Randy Moss
2. Ken Dorsey
3. Joey Harrington
4. Rax Grissman
5. Someone not named Crouch

Hey, last year he was fun to watch made me almost want to see the ducks win. He did well losing a few of his WR's and it did not hurt having Stewart behind him. But i would not trust his knee and style for the pro level.

With this guy and Tashard Choice, Chan Gailey should have been able to win more than 7 games every season.

Joe Dudek, played for a Division III schoo, broke Walter Payton's college record, still holds the overall NCAA records for career rushing touchdowns (76) and career 100-yard rushing games (30). He played for the Broncos, sparingly.

Anyway, there was a push to get him into the Heisman awards ceremony, and he ended up placing the highest of any Division III player ever. I forget what it was.

Because of his size and the division he was in, now 3rd string in the pros, sigh. Yeah, so what if I'm a butthurt NIU alum!?!?

If he had been a senior, he would've won over Crouch, no contest.
Sad that considering he can't hold down a starting job his NFL career is still so much better than that of Crouch or Jason White.
