Type A/Type B Free Agents are out. Among the notables Type-A Free Agents are Darren Oliver, Jamie Moyer, Edgar Renteria, and Doug Brocail.

A type-A FA means that if a team offers abitration to that player, and another team signs him, that teams gives up their first rounder.

The exceptions are teams that finish in the bottom 15 in win-loss record. The cutoff is the D'Backs who have the 15th best record, while the Dodgers with the 14th best record will lose their 1st rounder if they sign a Type-A FA.

Moyer will either retire this year or get re-signed with the Phillies.
