I picked up L2 in a 2 pack with CoH for $20.
It's a good thing the elf model was in there else it would have been a total loss.

So far I've got just the arms and sword completed but hope to begin working on it again soon.
So far it is very impressive in size and detail.

Does the elf link not work for anyone else?
'Cause it didn't work for me.
Any other way to get it? Someone throw it up here maybe?

heres the deal with the dark elf model:
She has NOT been released yet!

The korean company that makes these models (3dpaper) still has her listed as "coming soon." I plan on buying the model as soon as it is out. I've made the human and elf ones and they are incredible models. the Elf is amazing, very VERY high quality design. Simple, but with an attention to structural detail. The human had some design flaws, mainly in his right hand and the way his hair sit son his head, but it was enjoyable to build.
I HIGHLY recommend getting in contact with the one guy over at 3dpaper.com that speaks english and ordering these kits! I have his email if anyone is seriously interested. they are dirt cheap, and they usually throw in a small free model or two if you are nice to them.
I will let /po/ know when the dark elf is out.
pic related for credibility. check out the Pristontale archer model as well, it was pretty fun to build.

DO WANT the e-mail address of the bilingual guy at 3D. I have 25 years practice of being nice to Koreans. And yeah, that Pristontale rocked.

Thank you for making me feel superior to you. ;)

So if you don't know that this has been posted dozens of times already (which is entirely possible and nothing to be ashamed of!) you read the post>>116964which displays the picture and find that it says, yeah, that Pristontale rocked.
WTF? I want that papercraft, what is this pristontale crap?? Googles -> Oh wait, that girl is an archer from the Pristontale game!

Knowing this, a (my) superior brain goes tohttp://rs.4chan.org/and types pristontale. There's a rapidshare from /po/, that must be it.

I do believe I would be a great detective, seeing as how I am always able to solve these difficult cases by picking up clues people don't notice themselves! ;)

I downloaded the model and it will be my next big project. The model seems really big and the clothes are optional! I haven't printed it out yet, but I think I glue sheets of papers back to back? That's something new I haven't done.

3DPaper models are actually not meant to be distributed via download: when you buy them, they come preprinted, with the fold lines on the backside, so they won't show when the model is built.
The best thing to do is to print the front, then re-insert that page into your printer to print the fold lines on the back. But aligning front+back properly is difficult, even though everybody will tell you it is easy. ;)
Glueing two sheets together is easier, just make sure to use an elastic glue: some glues turn brittle when they dry, and then when you need to bend/fold the two sheets that you glued together, you will be screwed... Just try it out on two small pieces of scrap paper: glue them together, let them dry overnight, and try to fold them tomorrow. If you don't hear cracking and the sheets don't come apart, it will probably be okay.
