Hey guys, I'm extremely new to papercraft ( just found out what it is today) so be gental...

What kind of paper is normally used? Just regular printer paper? Origami paper? Or something heavier?

It's alright to use (and probably better to start with) regular printer paper.

Most people generally use 100 # (lb.) cardstock, though some say it leaves too thick of white lines on the smaller models. If you feel that way, then go with something a little bit thinner, but cardstock increases durability and makes it look better.

Also if I may give a tip, use as little glue as possible. A big mistake beginners make is using too much glue.

sage for someone extremely new to the internet with obviously no knowledge of multiple pages existing.
