Greetings /po/,

I am looking for links or templates for papercraft artworks like the one on the left. More specifically, I would like to know what they are called instead of "3-D Papercraft" (you get Magic EYE links usually).

The template on the left does not include any detachable parts.

Your pic is a fine representation of kirigami, the art of folding and cutting paper. Peter Calessen does some awesome work that he showcases online.

It's been difficult for /po/ to locate a lot of good sites for pop-up cards and kirigami, because it either doesn't seem to be common enough to be free, or people don't know what to call it to maximize the users they get from search engines.

Chatani/Nakazawa - Let's Make World Heritage Buildings
Chatani/Nakazawa - Pop-up Geometric Origami
Chatani/Nakazawa - White Christmas
Chatini, Masahiro - American Houses
Chatini, Masahiro - Key to Origamic Architecture
Chatini, Masahiro - Paper Magic Pop-up paper craft
Chatini, Masahiro - Pattern sheets of Origamic Architecture
Chatini, Masahiro - Pattern sheets of Origamic Architecture 2
Chatini, Masahiro - Pop-up Greeting cards

Would scan mine but they are in storage - had the builders in.

The pleasure is mine. I'm a bit of a hoarder - the papercraft file is more than 10GB with 20K+ files and I'm glad to share. If I live to be 100 I still won't do half of them but it's nice to have them!
There is a lot more OA stuff out there - I'll try to remember to post some links.

ty for the great files but whats with the files name?

makes no sense and will even less when someone comes across it on rapidsearch

name your files better before upping to rapidshare people!

OA is what many people shorten Origamic Architecture to, it is an accepted abreviation. 1a at the begining of the file name ensures that it stay at the top of my list of my files. If it bothers you that much download it rename it and then upload it. Many of the file names in rapidshare have little meaning unless you happen to know the name of a specific character/model eg Moa.zip or tonarinototoro.rar.

"These Pop Up Card is known as Origami Architecture."
You guys weren't able to find this site when looking for this?
Also interesting to know to the true /po/rson: Tenkai (also from that site) is the predecessor software from which Pepakura evolved. That's how old that site is. ;)

Is there a rapidshare for the Pop Up Origami Architecture program with crack?
>> Anonymous

I tried looking for cracks in serials.ws and cracks.me.uk, nothing turned up. Also tried googling torrentsites, nothing. I guess it's such a rare program and not related enough to mass interests that no one has been interested to crack.

You might want to run a couple of anti-spyware/ anti-adware/ and anti-virus scanners. Now.
Also, I think your assumption is correct.

Trust me, I'm pretty familiar with all that. :) And also, if you have all the right shields working for you, you don't get anything unless you're actually stupid enough to download a crack and open without checking it first. But it's a good reminder though for anyone looking for stuff like that around the websor. Even though I'm kinda sadistic in that way that I think if someone's ignorant enough to download a virus and execute it, they deserve the damage.

Seriously, if you really believe that, and have trusted in this all this time, scan your computer for adware/spyware/viruses with the programs you already use and then scan your computer with HijackThis this and post the log on a help forum like help2go.com, they'll help you get rid of all the stuff the regular scans missed. Seriously.

I seriously do all you mentioned (well, not posting in help forum) every time I boot up. And after visiting places like serials.ws etc. I've actually worked for a company that makes spyware/adware progs, as a coder. I'm flattered by your concern and cheers for the advice though ;) That kind of info-comment should be a sticky on any forum or board, just to share the knowledge to all those lil sunday surfers who don't know crap about internet security. It'd be good if there were more sensible and smart people like you around the web!
