If anyone is interested I have finally finished the core model of the Immortal, here is a rar with the pieces if you want to help BETA testing it. =Phttp://rapidshare.com/files/50949655/Immortal__BETA_.rar.html
this is an outrage! why has this not been bumped, good on you mate for learing how to model in a matter of days your the kind of person /po/ needs to keep the templates rolling in
I will be giving it a build. I hope my fellow /po/ineers will help out.It looks really impressive I must say, even without textures.
>>80192Thanks, I just came back from work so I will start building the untextured model to see if it works. If everything goes right I will attempt to do some textures for it later, if you find any problem please don hesitate to inform me.
>>80295O well, I think I found the first problem, and is that I made this way too freaking small. XD
>>80314Is it 25%?
>>80316Original size, and don't be startin shit.
>>80316I think it is that small at 100%. XDNothing that a 200% or 300% couldn't fix though.Anyway, I think I will keep working on that micro Immortal tomorrow, if I can build the beta in that size, then a final one at double size should be way easier. XD
yeah i had the same probl;em, it seems that pepakura sizes things slightly smaller that you would think they should be, this happened to me as well
ah yeah i was wondering about the scale issue, i had a job offer to take a 3d model of a stair case (made of bent sheet metal) and make flat patters for production. I was debating on using pepakura but didn't know if it adjusts the size. Is it just a visual thing or does it really scale down the model?
You can adjust the model size in pepakura..
i find my printer automatically sets the size on the page which tends to be smaller, if i want it to be actual size i need to adjust the page layout to actual size.. i got halfway through ragnarok until i realised this
Sorry for the lack of updates, I have been busy this weekend so I kinda forgot about the model, here, a few pics of bot arm cannons on an improvised body to see how it would look.
