One Origami Square Anonymous
I have exactly one square of origami paper, whats the most badass thing I can make that doesn't involve scissors or glue.
>> Anonymous
What are the dimensions of the paper? I could suggest any anatomically accurate insect if you have a piece 20cm or larger.

Its rather small, I think its 15 cm

The raccoon at>>98548was done with a 15cm square. How good a folder are you? Just about any John Montroll model can be done with a 15cm square, and a lot of them are "badass".

What color is it? And is it "regular" origami paper or rice origami paper? Might be able to suggest something depending on those things...

what colors is it? I've got some nice patterns that require certain colors

Regular

Its white on one side

and the color of the flower pattern? Give us something to go on here, man! There are lots of diagrams that call for different colors, such as many animal models, and most also require the white back side.

this one is pretty cool, though you'd have to be pretty good at origami to pull it off with 15cm paper...

if you're not so great, this praying mantis can easily be done on 15cm (I did it on 10cm without too much difficulty)

Make 15 paper cranes.
Anything is badass in the world of origami if it's small.

15 cm is plenty. I fold all of my origami with about 10cm or less square paper usually.

You can make a lily flower.
>> easy-ass bat Eric
Although i like puzzling out more complicated designs, I really like this "Happy Good Luck Bat": it's cute; it's cheap and easy; you can fold it really tiny and quickly with a little practice; and it's a little more out of the ordinary than a crane.

Here are a few tips for the beginner-ish folder:

1) there is no step #6; the diagrammer miscounted (and no maltreating the Abo's while anybody's looking!)

2) It doesn't really show it in the diagram, but when you swivel the wings up in step 25, the bottom part of the torso bends back, making the chest stick out

3) If you search on google images, there are photos of how this thing is supposed to turn out. They are helpful.
