Hey, I remember seeing someone working on a papercraft FN P90 a couple weeks back.. Wondering how the progress on that's going or if it even got finished, I didn't get to catch it all
>> Anonymous

>> Anonymous

I have the .pdo of one of the versions, I dunno if it was final, but it looks like it would work. Think it was half way through the thread.

Here ya go, open with winrar.

In case that wasn't clear enough, download my image, rename to .rar, open it.

Hey fellow /po/mpoms

The thread was indeed lost, but I was not. I finished the P90 this morning at about 4am. It turned out pretty well considering I was using cardstock and it was damn fiddly. I'm going to varnish it tomorrow cus it's a prop for a cosplay.

Pic related.

Excellent work dude, you actually modeled the rivets? :)

umm, I may have cheated a little with the rivets. The card I was working with was a little too thick for that, so I used a hole punch to make a bunch of discs which I then glued together in stacks of 5. Those were stuck on card, and held slightly away from the main body by some rolled up card. They look pretty good considering they were improv, but I think if I had made them true to the design then they would have been slightly better.

Can't see why you'd consider it cheating, it's all paper after all.

True, just tell people to make rivets, you do that. Or just make a bunch of circles that size, and put that in the sheets somewhere.

Excellent work. After seeing yours I think I have to make one for myself. I will just ask about the varnish. Exactly how does that work with PC?

This will be the first time I'm using it - I want to get a shinier metallic finish so I figure that if the card is black then to make it shiny would be enough. I'm using a spraycan of clear glossy polyurethane varnish to ensure a good finish. Hopefully the card won't warp. Thin layers or varnish methinks.

Does it print fine? Looking at the pdf the parts are cut off on quite A few pages.
>> Anonymous
