In this video they seem to be able to cut a little before and after what they just cut. Whenever I try to do this and it intersects with another cut my exacto knife seems to stick. I am not using a cutting mat, not sure if that matters? But why can the people in the video do it and not me? I am using printer paper atm. Stupid stationary store had no 67lb paper...(Pic is the papercraft I am doing)

Not sure if I follow...You made a cut, and you want to cut across the first cut basically? And you can't...?Maybe your blade is blunt? Very, very blunt?
>>143739brand new blade... I can cut fine but cutting across a cut sometimes seems to make the blade stick.
From the sounds of it you need a cutting mat.... thats probably why it "sticks", because you running into old cuts? You should use a cutting mat anyways lol try getting a self-healing one and see if that helps
