I'm doing quite a bit more work to the helmet. I'm going to resin it up and make it solid, then paint it... I've got a gold mirror visor im going to place and then some LEDs are gonna go in there as well.
yo just printed that from the 405th forums without sizing it diddnt you? its in the scale for the 7 foot super soilder.. if you really want a nicer helmet with more detail, try my remade model, it is closer to the cutscene model for the MKVI. its a harder build, but itll look alot better in the end.http://rapidshare.com/files/57744570/newhelm.pdo
>>88843so do you need to upscale the original when you print it? I printed it off and built it, and it won't even fit my kid sister :(It was fun to build though :3
>>88870what? which one are you talking about? newhelm.pdo? it should be quite big enough to wear, its scaled to fit me, im 5'11'' .protip: if your going to resin this, actually build the visor part, if you dont it will come out horribly deformed. you can cut it out after hardening.
dannifood4less, are you still making the full armour?
>>88899yes, this is a pic from last week, i dont have my digi right now, i got the other arms done, and the boots, still doing my new helmet, and the leg parts
the boot, it looks so cool. :D
OP hereThat first one was too large, I've gone and remade it to scale properly now. First was the first papercraft i've ever made so I tried :PSecond one looks much nicer and fits much better. I've got the visor build, i just left it out for right now until I'm ready to resin, then I'll get it in there. I want to leave it out so i can fit my HJC visor in there and make sure it fits
