Well, it's possible... in a way. Not directly, but there's a workaround. I wrote a little program called pdo2mqo a while back, that could extract the Mesh file from the .pdo and turn it back into an .mqo file to edit in metasequoia. You can then make a new development (unrolling) in Pepakura Designer using the .mqo file.
That would mean having to do the whole layout again. If you want to edit the original (read-only) development, you need the work around.
1. Extract the .mqo using pdo2mqo
2. Make a new development in Pepakura Designer (just hit automatic, and save. You only need to have the parts unfolded, doesn't matter what it looks like)
3. Then you need to copy a key from the new file into the original one. You can do that in a hex editor, but i started to implement that into a second version of the program.

Unfortunately, i havent been able to work on it in a while. I have uploaded the first version before, maybe someone can repost that for the time being. I can't right now, but in the next days. I will also try to see if i can still figure out what is what in the unfinished version, and try to upload that as well.

Can you give full instructions as to what key you need and how to get it using a hex editor, etc?

And where could I obtain your most excellent program?

iirc you can open it in notepad and change one variable to 0 from 1 or 2 or whatever.

Shit, i completely overlooked that you only wanted to remove the lines...
I think 24541 is right. You dont need to remove the copy protection for that.

Open the file in a hex editor, at the end you will find a part named "info" containing these lines (among others):
iTaniLineType 0
iYamaLineType 0
iCutLineType 0
Try changing these to 1 or 2 in a Hex Editor. If you save the file in Notepad, it will fuck up the textures.
