But what she said was, she WANTED it to end up hard as plastic, but it DIDN'T. She put on several coats, and maybe if you put on enough coats, you can get it "hard as plastic," but why?? Varnish or whatever is used to protect papercrafts from splashes and dust, not to make it look like it's made from plastic (you can get quite a nice finish if you coat your papercraft in varnish though). I mean c'mon: you're not gonna fool anyone into believing it's plastic and not paper... And what's wrong with that?? lol If you use some good cardstock instead of regular printer paper, your papercraft will be sturdy enough.
