Consider making the pinhole in thin shim of metal. For example, you can take a piece of thin brass, dimple it with a needle, and file down the bump until a small hole appears. The smaller the hole, the greater the detail in the picture, and the longer the exposure time.

It was taken with a pinhole camera, but one I made out of a tin can, not the dirkon. Try the dirkon, but you can make a pinhole camera out of almost any box or can, if you can keep the extraneous light out.

I finished mine the other day aside from the pinhole, I don't know how to get a .4mm needle none of the needles at the craft store listed diameter in mm or imperial units for that matter
>> Trippin' !!9z23VPHrCcB
just get the smallest and thinnest needle you can find

OP here. I failed. My negatives came out terribly. So I'll just consider it a test build and try again. I'll try using electric tape inside this time. And thicker cardstock.

Some more models if anyone is interested in building.

And while you're at it, some black spray paint inside and out might help. The dirkon looks cool, but paper is translucent, and photographic film is very sensitive to any light leaks.

Dirkon is cool, but the P-Sharan seems to be the best papercraft pinhole camera out there, costs about 30$, i'm dying to get one
