Mini EVA01 Project Onanymous
I'm having fun building this 25% EVA01!
It isn't so hard as I thought but is challenging
indeed.
I reopen this thread after it was deleted for some reason.

Heres mine, I didn't picture the body because its drying right now and i don't want to mess with it. Why does every one make the 25 percent ones? Why not full size. I know it takes a ton of ink and paper but i think its worth it

because it's too friggen hueg. It would take up too much space in my room that's for sure.

i edit and rearrange in photoshop, usually i can fit them
maybe 1 or 2 sheets extra cuz they're positioned alot closer
than original
>> Anonymous
is there a way to make it big , without using photoshop?or could someone post a 150% template
>> Anonymous
Someone got the 25% template? I would like it alot.
>> Onanymous
>>79999
Just set your printer to print 4 pages in a sheet!
come out more or less 14 pages...
>> Anonymous
can someone explain how to make it 150%

Thats a ton bigger than i thought. sense you had that sensor bar under there I got to make a comparison and holy crap
>> Anonymous
At 25%, printing it with 16 modelspages to a A4/USletter sheet, builds it that large? 0_o
Or is it Anonymous can't do basic math?
Isn't this 4 pages to a printed A4/USletter sheet, which is 50%.
>> Anonymous
     File :-(, x)
i see. it works like this
>> Anonymous
>>80268
Where did you get that image, cause whoever made it, their math sucks.
>> Anonymous
>>80271
fail gb2 school
>> Anonymous
>>80272
since when does splitting a page four ways make each piece 50% of the whole page?
>> Anonymous
>>80273
Wow Anonymous is embarassing itself.
25% of the sheet surface makes model 50% scale
moron.
ITT people who failed grammar school.
>> Anonymous
>>80274
this is math, not grammar.
>> Moony
>>80275
...

grammar school is also called grade school or elementary school, AKA kindergarten - 5th grade
>> Anonymous
>>80274
That doesn't make any sense! 25% is equal to 1/4. Printing the model on 1/4 of the page makes it 25%. That is how the real world works.
>> Anonymous
>>80278
Sorry, I live in Canada, and we don't name grade levels after educational subjects.
>> Anonymous

In a board populated by fucking morons this uneducated behavior is not surprising.
>> Anonymous
I hereby challenge you /po/opers to build both, stand them together in a pic and proudly say that your 1:2 scale EVA is 1:4 as tall as the 1:1.
>> Anonymous
Scale is a function of ^2 square, height is linear.
The conversion between 1/2 as tall is a square root, not divided by 2.
To reach 1:4 scale (AKA 25% as large) the square function places 16 model pages to each print out sheet.
Now you are going to tell me it is only 25% as heavy as the full scale build ^_^
>> Anonymous
>>80293
Why don't they just build the heads. Cause I figure the main reason that they are building them smaller is because they have no room.
>> Anonymous
>>80294
OK that actually makes sense, sorry I said anything. It's just that my current job doesn't involve any kind of math, so it kinda faded away. eheh. 2 years ago I probably would have agreed right away. *deletes other posts
>> Onanymous
Both "maths" are right!

When I was at school I wasn't a math ace but it's a fact of logic, if a full size model is 100%, half size(2 pages in 1 sheet)is 50%(half of 100%) of its size;
a quarter (4 pages in 1)MUST be 25%!

>>80268
this kind of math is about volumes of model, it's right, considering the amount of space
the model fills.

But I was considering surface area of pieces not volume!
>> Onanymous
>>80296
I actually live alone, it's not a space problem!
Not everybody here is a parent's parasite!
>> Anonymous
> Hello is this the local hobby store?
=====
> Yes, I'm looking for 57 Chevy model that is 1/625 the volume of the real one.
=====
> WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T KNOW?
=====
> Okay, how about a Gundam that's a 3600th the volume of full size.
=====
> WHAT THE GODDAMN MOTHERFUCKING HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU, DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND MODEL SIZES YOU CRACK SMOKING IDIOT?
=====
> what... scale? What's scale. Models are listed by scale thet're made by goddamn volume.
====
> Fuck no, you're wrong. Don't hang up on me asswipe. Don't... *cries* he hung up one me.

150% ?

Beat your head vigorously and repeatedly against the nearest solid concrete surface.
Line up the stars you're now seeing with the stars on the printouts.
