Anyone ever buy from them? Are they reliable? Will they eat my credit card? I want to purchase a few of their papers/glues, but I'm reluctant to throw my info at a "Chinese Medicinal/Origami Paper Supply Store."

Also, share your prefered origami paper purchase places with me?

There's no chinatown by you? I pass by the Chicago one every day, so I can always pick up stuff if I am so inclined.

Anyways, I doubt opane is bad. There website has been up for years, so if they were it would probably have been shut down. Also, I recommend paying through paypal or using a virtual cc so they don't get your real info. This is for ALL online merchants though, except maybe amazon.

So everyone buys their paper in person? I've only ever seen paper for sale right in front of me once, and it was in a specialty store in a Chicago mall(I live in Cornfieldvill, IL), and all they had was star paper strips.

Any other nice online places out there?

Ok, I just gave them my credit info. If I get butthurted, I'll be sure to scream and rant here later.

I'm probably going to be ordering some stuff from hiromipaper.com for a Japanese woodblock printing class. There are booklets on sale for $7 that allow you to preview a bunch of their different papers. I don't know which one I have to buy for the class yet, but I'd like to see what types of paper the company sells.

In the USA, I've only been able to find origami paper that's a little less than a 6 inch square. I find them in the scrapbook section at Michael's and Hobby Lobby.
