So, /po/, I was thinking.. Ganon Papercraft, Oot rip.

Sounds nice to me.

well? get to it op!
>> Notlaw
There is no way in hell that you will be able to rip him and get decent textures or a 3d model that is not fucked to the extreme. Good luck, by the way.

sure you can, just get a geometry exporter:

Yes, we all know it is impossible to get a decent papercraft with a decent texture from a OoT or MM rip.

Not OP here, but anyways o.o I fucking love Ganon, so I decided to try this here shizzle out, but apparently NEMU haets .N64 roms, and demands .V64, which I don't have the OoT rom in D:

like... change the extension manually?

Didn't ganondorf show up very briefly in MM? Or was that just zelda? I thought it was in a cut scene. If he did then that would have a better texture.

Lolno? Apparently there's a difference in the byte alignment between N64 and V64 files because different ways have been used to extract the roms out of the cartridges. Soo better luck next time with that.

lolyes? I can change the extension from z64->n64->v64->rom and it doesn't matter, both Project64 and Nemu64 open them without any problems; are you sure it's not just a bad rom image?

..Wat. I just tried it. And it worked. That makes like no sence at all but screw that, I got it working \o/ Thanks

So you just figured: " I'm not gonna try it and see if it solves this problem I came here asking about, but instead I will just pretend I tried it and it didn't work and I'll throw in words like byte alignment to make it look I know what I'm talking about" ? ;)

>>168663
No, I didn't think of renaming the files because I read in some emulation forum that NEMU just wont work with N64 files, and renameing files dont always work, usually you'd have to use a converter of some sort to change a file from one type to another. So that's why I didn't expect it to work. But hey, you learn something new every day, right ;D

Also, saging a thread because some person is trying to do what OP suggested? Lolwut.

Correct byte alignment ensures that data used with an API is correct. Byte alignment is also essential when APIs are used to retrieve and then print or display data. When byte alignment is off, it causes the API to read the data at some point other than at the beginning of a record. Do your homework before you post something like this showing us how ignorant, unintelligent, and intolerent you are.

No, saging because>>168663didn't tell you anything new, so it wasn't worth bumping the thread for.
Neither is this, but apparantly people get offended when you use sage correctly. ;)
