Uhhhh.... I don't mean to tear this guy apart after posting my model, but wtf. If you don't know the history of Megaman then just don't use it. Megaman (the original) had 6 robot masters (Cut Man, Guts Man, Ice Man, Bomb Man, Elec Man, and Fire Man). Wood Man was not a descendant of any previous robot master....

Also, he was one of the first 8 bosses before Wily's Castle... This probably shouldn't bother me as much as it does, but jeez...

Alright, I chopped that frilly elbow crap and pushed his shoulder forward to a "more natural" angle to avoid that two-piece bend thing I had going on.... It looks a little better, but without indenting his torso I don't know if I can get that upper arm shorter. I'd rather not extend his glove much farther back, lest he start looking like Lady Deathstrike or something =x

Personally, I think his head is a tad too big, and the boots are a tad too skinny. The Mega Buster is also a little bit too fat, it should be more rectangular.

I've already convinced myself to redo Airman. I only did him because there was a request and no one else did it. As my first design, I didn't think it too terrible, but it does deserve a facelift. =S

OK, revised draft (why do I feel like I'm back in CAD class?)

- As per advice, I narrowed the Megabuster by about 75%, and widened the barrel to more closely match the proportions of the reference pic.

- I shortened the left arm by raising and rotating the wrist, and also chopped off the tips of the fingers and thumb to avoid that alien look.

- I fattened up his boots by 25% and fixed his knees so it doesn't look like he's holding in ton of piss....

He definitely does look more boyish and chubby now... Any more advice before I start simplifying his boots?

Sniper Joe/Armor are made, I need to revisit their models and clean them up before releasing them. As they're simple models, I'll just put the .pdo in there and let you use that as instructions... because I'm a fat lazy piece of shit....

Also, yes, Heatman is next. There's already a cutman on Nintendo Papercraft.

And I do textures (after Pep details really) in Photoshop. I've read tutorials on how to UV map in Blender but I just can't get good results... again, I'm retarded.

I put the files for all 8 Robot Masters' weapons in there too, so you can have Megaman using whatever weapon you want. Just switch the textures in Pepakura. 3D models are in there too, so if you feel the need to modify or fix something, do so. I'd really like to see him in a sliding pose, although that would be Megaman 3 territory...
