hmm ... looks smaller then I thought.

>>56961
Only one thing you can do then: print and build it bigger when it's released. ;o)
It's big enough for Chamoo's girlie hands ;o) but us guys with our big man-hands will probably have to build it bigger, yes. Not a problem.

in fact its smaller cauz I screwed up the scalling. its fine for my hands but its still not 1:1. the real one shouldbe 24 inch long. mine is barely 15-16.

I know

>>56969
That's wut I was talking about when I was saying "looks small". My finger would rip off the u-bolt. lol

how would we increase it so it fits bigger hands? what percentage would it have to be printed out at?

to fit YOUR hand: trial and error
>> Chamoo232
>>56997
it cant be printed bigger. the pages are already as big as they can. but there is alot of stuff to fix on the 3d model itself so it will require a new template anyway. I migh give up the bullets and bullet chambers
>> Nonymous
Chamoo-kami, if you decide to take them out, can you set up a copy of the older one that you put in the first post if its already fully designed, please? I'm a bit of a Vincent addict, and would -love- the progress models ^^

if you want the template with errors and sacrifice 1:1 scale to have bullets then yeah I could releasse the current template
>> Nonymous
YAY! Er... sorry ^_^;; *Accepts graciously*
>> Anonymous
>>57031
Everything is possible of course, you could just scale them up and have a big part (gunbarrels are as tall as a whole page I'm guessing?) on two pages. Then when you cut it out, you'd just have to glue these two parts together again. It wouldn't be too bad to do this. Or enlarge it, and take it to Kinko's or something to print on larger paper of course. ;o)

Or just use a large format printer like me ;)

done building my prototype. I had to use a little pin to make it stay closed. there is no bullet chambers or bullets anymore. just the end of the bullets glued to the face. fits my hand but wouldnt fit most people's hand. once again sorry for the crappy webcam quality. better pics coming tomorow hopefully

woah this is cool... xD

Looks nice, even without "real" bullets. And I wouldn't worry about scaling too much. If it fits your hand, then that's the size you'll want right? But maybe you could release it as jpegs instead of pdf this time so it would be easier for people if they wanted to rescale it to fit their hands.
But even so, if you'd release it in pdf as usual, some people would complain (it's inevitable ;) but it would only be a small step to extract them as jpegs themselves really, so don't worry about the complaining then either.

It looks -awesome-!! *Big happy smile* Again you amaze me, Cham-kami!
