I always enjoy /po/eple making papercrafts themselves, so don't get mad at me or anything, this is just to give my opnion: The models look very nice in 3D, but this is how I would do it: not in one part, but in sections. Because now, you have all these 90 degree valley folds at the middle ring and the button at the front to try and glue the different sections together when building the papercraft, and from my experience, these look likevery difficult parts to do that on. When you make sections, you basically just make several low cylinders (the easiest type of papercraft I know of: roll a strip of paper and glue the two circles on top, either with "zipper" style glueing flaps so you can't miss the alignment or not) and two half domes (they can still be a bit fidly, but you have to make those anyway). And then you just stack them.
