You could make a white one this time, and just spray paint it gold and silver. You could use frisket film or rubber cement to mask off the areas you don't want to spray a certain color. I think that might work and it's a bit cheaper than the paper you're looking at.
In order to get rubber cement off of something, I think I remember that art gum or some kind of regular eraser works just fine. It's been too many years. It's probably one of those pink erasers that work on it. I wish I could remember the details better. Friskett film is a clear film that's sticky on one side, and smooth on the other. Friskett film kind of reminds me of decals. I'm not certain how easy it might be able to find outside of art and craft stores, or drafting stores. I think hobby lobby carries it, maybe Michael's too, but I don't remember. Again, it's been too many years since I've had a need for using those techniques.
