Help! JonoKai
I do a lot of origami but I focus more on the things that interest me (big suprise there) anyway my dad pipes up with "can you make a deer or a squirrel?" and so... of course... none of my origami sites or books have a deer or a squirrel. I also do not want to make it out of a TEA BAG.....

ITT origami Deer and Squirrels please!!!

I think there's a link on rapidsearch for over 300 origami models that someone has found the diagrams to online. I don't know if it has a deer or squirrel in it, but it's worth a try. I know that I have a squirrel in the origami zoo book I have, but it's at my boyfriend's house right now, and I think I took down the rapidshare link to it a long time ago. The scans of it are probably backed up somewhere, but I don't know where. I remember that the squirrel requires paper that's the same color on both sides.

Lang's deer was the first model I made from a CP. Its really not that hard, give it a try!

Just read Lang's bit on CPs on his page here: http://www.langorigami.com/art/creasepatterns/creasepatterns.php4
and go for it. And don't give up, it took me a bit of time before I got it, but it was worth it!
