Just wondering, anyone found or made a Kogepan papercraft? I love the poor guy, and I'm surprised I haven't found any papercraft of him yet.

well failing that, does anyone have a character with a shape similar to kogepan? I might be able to modify that...
>> Anonymous
...please? I can't find anything anywhere (most things with a big oval head seem to stand on 4 feet, kogepan stands on 2, so I can't find anything to modify even)

lol, it often takes days for something like this to be delivered, not hours.

ah sorry ^^ have been lurking /po/ but am too used to the fast /b/ turnover of threads

Anon bumps on behalf of OP. This should definitely be undertaken, and I'd do it myself if I were any good with making templates.

OP here...I've been trying to make this myself but modeling on sketchup is hard...any advice for making the 3d model of the body? (I got the head...)

...does anyone use sketchup, actually?

Anyone have at least a hello kitty or stewie griffin .pdo file that I can modify to make this? otherwise I'm giving up...

Yeah I saw that one before, but it's basically a bunch of flattened spheres...seems like other people are having trouble making actual connected limbs in sketchup too. Thanks though!!

Anyway any other free 3-d modeling software you can recommend me? I feel like sketchup is kind of limited.

GAAAH ok so I went ahead and did this all by myself (thanks Anon) but I'm realizing the feet are kind of weird. I'm on campus where printing color costs a shitload and I don't have my own printer, so I can't really afford to do a test run of this myself.

Any advice on what to do with the legs, since they look weird as is, and I'm not sure how to modify them to stand separately?

blender ftw

it's a bitch to learn but powerful as anything

Blender? Thanks, I'll try it out. I guess 3D modeling will be a good skill to have anyway.

Going to try out my kogepan pattern after my finals are over, I guess... =P

GAAAH just tried out my template. Awful. So I'll...refine it...later.

Seems like I'm becoming a fan of San-X (though kogepan is my favorite by far). I like this cute guy, tissue san, and was wondering if anyone has a papercraft of him? Or is willing to make one? Because it strikes me as one of those rare things that can be both cute AND useful.

Um.

Physics?

The shadow underneath makes a stand both accurate and aesthetically pleasing.

Why not try to make a kogepan out of... you know... bread?
>> Anonymous
>>147126

Well I guess it helps that I frequent /ck/ too. But bread can only last so long...

Now tissue-san seems not only somewhat easier but more useful AND more accurate! I mean, tissue boxes are cardstock right?

No clue who tissue-san is, but I have to say..

Easiest. Model. EVER.

Here you go.
