hey /po/, tomorrow's homecoming and I'm thinking about making an origami corsage for my date.

Got any good diagrams that would look nice?

please next time google "papercraft flower"
http://cp.c-ij.com/english/3D-papercraft/event/o-rose_e.html
at the left, almost at the bottom of the page, you can find more flowers
>> Xydirus
already made that one, DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT MAKING IT IN CARDSTOCK!!!
I made it with normal 70grm/m^2 and still it was too much...
use the slimmer paper you can that doesnt get corrupted by the glue

I, too, made the unfortunate choice of trying to use cardstock for this model, because "cardstock is the best thing to use for papercraft"

Ugh. Most of the parts didn't fit with each other, and there was so much white showing from the joined edges that it was a total failure.

yeah, the more complex the model, the less likely that cardstock is needed (unless you're enlarging by a considerable amount)

yep, the fact is that I used normal paper because the instructions said that you had to curl the petals, and with so much curled parts, and all of them double sided, it would had been ridiculously hard to do...

Curling cardstock isn't that hard. Just wrap it around your knife, a pen, etc.

Don't missunderstand me, I know how to curl paper, what I said would be riddiculously hard was a DOUBLE SIDED cardstock, with this I mean a cardstock, fold by the middle, pasted, cutted and THEN fold that... have you tried it? is like 1/32 inch! much more difficult that a double sided normal paper...
