Anyone have?

You've got to be kidding me. It's a two dimensional fucking shape comprised of three triangles tacked together.

i think op wants a papercraft 3d model, not necessarily the one in his/her picture.
>> Anonymous
>>95446
I think OP know that something as easy to do as this shit can be done in some minuts for himself, but he is so lazy that he thinks that we'll stop what we are doing to do something as small as this
>> Anonymous
Op here, I was justwondering if anyone had one in their massive /po/ folders. Generally /PO/ is one of the more polite and helpful boards, so forgive me for asking for help.

fucktard doesn't remember this is 4chan

no need to ask for forgiving, we are not mad at you, but give us a break! if you actually have the 3D model and maybe pepakura designer, even for a totally noob it should not take more than 10 minutes to finish! it would take longer for a experienced (and busy) modeller to find it and make it and upload it...
understand it, not treing to be offensive, but just be in our place...

/po/ has become rather mean lately I've noticed.
>> Anonymous
/po/ is comprised of people making requests, people fulfilling those requests and people working together to fulfill the requests this doesn't work if there is no respect for one another.

It is because of that lifesized paper girl awhile back. Papercuts down there make everyone grumpy. :-P

But seriously, I think it is due to the year we have had. /b/tards, that whole "new /i/" retardation, being invaded ourselves repeatedly (if I see a "/po/oper" raid again, I think I will have a conniption), the seemingly endless stream of newbies, and then we are coming into the Halloween through Christmas demand rush which always pushes our buttons to some degree – especially since so many people only can manage to blurt out things like "Anyone have?" or "Mask now!" or "I demand you do this!" I think that the denizens of /po/ are just pretty tired and cranky after it all – and who can blame us?

But we do have to kind of snap out of it, shake it off, and try to be a bit more patient – not as much for the newbies as for just keeping the entire board from going apoplectic and having a boardwide, communal aneurism.

Step 1: Make three sided pyramid.
Step 2: Repeat step 1.
Step 3: Repeat step 2.
Step 4: Repeat step 3.
Step 5: Stack.
Step 6: ????
Step 7: Profit!
>> Anonymous
What we need is a sticky with giant flashing text that tells everyone to fuck off.

Either that or a sticky giving a general guideline on how the board works and how they can not shit it up by at least checking /rs/ or rapidsearch before asking. And anyone who does ask stupid shit could get a warning, then a 1 day ban, et c. But that would mean more mods, which won't be happening.

lol I really think some /po/eple didn't think this through: it's a lot harder than it seems.
The shapes are so simple my little niece (I became an uncle three weeks ago lol) could do it, but making it into a good papercraft takes some thinking. I don't think all of you realize that.
Most /po/eple think it's so dead easy, they would just make three triangles.
And then you'd have three triangles.
Three individual triangles.
With no way to attach them to eachother, other than puting glue on the tips and praying it will hold...
Shitty MS Paint schematic shows my idea on how to make a template that will make a Tri-Force, not three individual triangles.

Can someone screencap this thread for my enjoyment pls? Because I lol'ed at all the people flaming OP while not thinking, and I may want to do so again later, when I have had a bad day at work or something and need to lol again.

Open with winrar, et c. Texture is basic yellow, if you don't like it fix it yourself.

It should, *should* be buildable. I dunno. Maybe.

No, a screencap as a single jpeg image, not as a webfile.

but now I'm going to school, I'll be back in 5 hours, and then (like in 5 hours AND 10) I'll upload it, so everyone can be happy and relaxed once again... sorry for the inconveniences, n00b

Thats basically what I just threw together in paint as well, I was trying to dimension it properly and frankly just didn't have the time. But if you assemble it that way it is much simpler then having 3 non-connected triangle pieces.

>>95555
Thank you for ending all this bs then. We'll see you in 5 hours then.
>> Anonymous
>>95569
except you'd want a gap in between each set of triangles, not two in a row.
You could also use the inside edge as the binding and such, but I'd have to run it through pepakura to see if it'd be more interesting that way.

made ir from totally scratch... and I didn't even had done anything in sketchup already, but there you go! hope you like it

P.S: took even less than 10 minutes...

All right; completely buildable!

i like>>95538's more, no offense but his has more space in the triangle points so it looks more stable.

the 3 connected straights are the /inside/ loop, not the outside, btw.

not offended, if you'd like me to make it a little wider just tell me, ok?

Different Anons. I (second) blendered and pepa'd a triforce while others weren't posting. :) it just took a bit. I'll have to find some yellow foil cardstock. :)

Make 5 pyramids instead, better than this.
Or make it gold, but dont push/pull the 2d image. that's just sad....
>> Anonymous
>>95937but dont push/pull the 2d image. that's just sad....
...
...but that's what the Triforce is: three small triangles making up one big triangle. Your models may look nicer (well... that's also just a matter of taste lol) but it's not a Triforce, it's something else.

I'd have made my model look like this, but the beveling would be too difficult to PO properly.

Wait what? It's really that hard?
>> Anonymous
>>96212
You forgot the glue tabs.
But yeah, that's pretty much it.
>> Anonymous

>>96212
It isn't hard, but for some reason you people keep underestimating it in your attempts to mock it...
In fact it's simple, you only need to plan ahead a little.
In your case, you forgot a strip (or three small ones, since you seem to have a preference for making every single piece seperate (your choice of course, but in this case I really think it would be better to have at least some parts connected, so you won't have to cut every edge twice).
And the glueing tabs of course like>>96213said, but I'd start with having all the parts needed first. ;)
Making papercrafts requires a lot of smart thinking and planning ahead. Even on simple ones. This thread is proof of that.
>> Anonymous
>>96212
those strips are 33% to short, or you need one additional one that's 50% longer :)
