>>29916 You must only build big papercrafts. ;) In my collection, about 90% are under half a meg. I mean: many of them have multiple pages of parts, and together they might be over 2 meg, but alone they're well under the upload limit so you could just post them all one by one. You have to do that anyway since you can't upload ZIP files here, so why ZIP them so you need to use that "dreaded" rapidshare anyway of yours instead of just uploading them here?
All papercrafts in a single file of over 2 meg (let alone 8 meg...) will be a multiple page pdf, not jpeg or gif I hope... ;) You're talking about BIG papercrafts like the Eva Units, Howl's moving castle... We need an archive like Plus4Chan for those, instead of uploading them here only to get bumped off the board... And what about papercraft pdfs of 8,1 meg? Why set the limit at 8 meg? Whenever you say: so we can upload MOST papercrafts here, I can say "we can do that with 4 meg" or "we need 9 meg for that". How can you say: MOST papercrafts are under 8 meg and not under 4 meg, or over 8 meg? How did you come to that conclusion? By your own archive? My archive will do just fine with the 2 meg as it is, and somebody else's archive needs 9 meg to be able to upload "most" pdfs. It's impossible to tell what MOST papercrafts are, so you can't define a definitive size limit for MOST papercrafts. All you can say is: papercrafts are basically jpeg images (converted to pdf or not, or even in the original even smaller pdo size when made with Pepakura designer) that need to printed on A4 paper, and for jpegs that need to printed on A4 paper, 2 MB is already a lot...
