I am actually quite surprised, because two days ago I was thinking "what should I do now? Damn, Porygon would be easy!".

Yes! Please do
>> Anonymous
try ripping it from one of the gamecube games.

or that pokemon snap/colloseum game for the N64

I have a book very similar to that one, but the origami really looks nothing like the pokemon unless you use the special pokemon printed paper that comes with it (which I no longer have)
But if you still want scans, I can do so.

The Japanese Livro one is better. Someone put it on rapidshare and I downloaded it. Most of the stuff (such as this Slowpoke) involves cutting and multiple sheets, but at least it looks like Pokemon without the special paper.

I found some inaccuracies in my model so it'll take a while longer. And I can't get to Pekakura Designer tonight. So check back sometime tomorrow afternoon/evening. This is what I have so far.

Still needs some work. I don't have a key for Pepakura designer and the texture is off, but I think I have a way fix both at one time.

Hopefully, more tomorrow.

fukken awesome
>> Anonymous
By texture I assume you mean that the pink is striped with white? Or did your printer do that?
>> Anonymous
That was the printer. I mean that the line widths are different all over. I'll unfold the model without the texture, print, scan, and paint on the lines and color directly onto the pattern so they're uniform.

>> Anonymous
yea, your printers running low on red

You are awesome, hot damn. I don't suppose you'd work on other Pokemon when you're done with this one? Not to sound ungrateful of course.

Why print then scan when you can just go to 2dpatternwindow and select copy development to clipboard, then paste it into whatever program you use for images.

So this is my first official contribution to /po/.
I don't expect to be doing more any time soon so no requests. I just dabble and it would take a mighty strike to my fancy for me to do another. This one was just simple and I wanted to do one eventually.

If there are any major mistakes, let me know and I'll edit it.

If you do please post and let me see how it turned out for you. Enjoy!

/po/rygon should be the mascot of this board
>> Anonymous
>>58922
I disagree, Porygon screams: "this is a Pokémon board!" and not "this is a papecraft and origami board!"
And that is the case with all characters from movies/anime/games/etc. It doesn't matter if it's made from paper, it still refers to the movie/anime/game, not papercraft and origami in general.

Well, this is my try at it. I liked the model, it was easy to work out and quite simple to build. The eyes were a bit weird though, I wonder if they could've been done in any other way? And the head seemed a bit small compared to the body, but it doesn't really make a difference. Didn't find any real mistakes or blunders. Anyway, good work on the model, thanks!
>> Anonymous
The eyes were hard. It ruined it for me.

Here's my attempt, the eyes were fiddly but by no means impossible, it looks pretty good in the end. Thanks to the creator for this one!
Only a few hundred to go....
