so /po/, how do you prevent papercuts when you origami? i personally where a chain mesh glove. it provides me the safety i need to prevent painful (and often dangerous) injuries, while allowing to keep my paper folding dexterity! any other ideas? :)

Just learn to work with the paper. Never move your hands across the edge of the paper, because you will get cut. I have been doing origami for years and I have never gotten a single cut. Wearing gloves or something else on your hands would probably make it harder to feel the paper or work with it. So I think you just need to learn how to work with the paper if you are having problems with paper cuts.
