Hey Dai we should start a Pepakura thread...For all those in need of 3-D model papercrafts. Much like Halo helmet seen here...Tips, tricks, and suggestions all provided by us.

Sure, I'm up to it. I'm pretty good at converting a 3d model into a workable template in pepakura, so if anyone has a model they'd like in a REASONABLE printout (instead of the auto-unfolded garble you get by default), just upload and I'll get to it sometime.

not a helmet... -_-

im desent at it, im just too lazy and dont have the programs to fix problems in the conversion to pep.

Learn engineering, and quit being such pushbutton dumbfucks

Engineering... as in autocad, 3ds max, alias, and such? Sorry, but I work for Autodesk using most of their utilities (aside from high-end video editing stuff), and in my honest opinion pepakura is the fastest and easiest way to get the models laid out in a coherent printable form.

I wonder, though, what do YOU use that is (presumably) better than unfolding models in pepakura?
