Hey /po/, I need these two textures put into one so that the new one can be used in a papercraft. They are of an eye, but they need to be one texture for it to work. Please help, I can't shop at all.

No cleaning my room, doing the dishes, taking out the garbage anymore today. This is my good deed for today.

Btw, if the textures are messed up now this may be because it's 64x64 pixels now, instead of original 32x32 of OP. Try shrinking it to 50% and try again if that happens.

actually could you make it look more like this? And point the iris a little more to the left?

It's very difficult to create something like this and get it exactly right. Usually, you try, check, fix, check, fix again, check, fix again, check and so on until you get it right. Not very efficient over the internet, I'm afraid... So I hope this is close enough.

perfect thank you

Could you also do these too please? This one is a bit hard to see, but it is a socket just like the other one.

and this.
Please. There will probably be more coming as I mess around with the models, so please don't get frustrated yet.

Twice as big as original so it was a little easier to work with. Shrink to 50% if necessary.
And obviously, I'm not gonna do this for every model in the Wind Waker pack, even if you do tell me not to get to frustrated. ;)
'Cause I'm a nice guy, but that doesn't mean I'm stupid. ;)
If you have that many models you need this to do on, it's worth learning this yourself. It can even be done in MS Paint if you uncheck the draw opaque option in the image menu, although a better program helps. ;)
Good luck on your projects, /po/ eagerly awaits them!

Here is the zora. It's an embedded .rar file. As you can see I made it into a bust. Don't worry about the picture the eyes are fixed in the papercraft thanks to you. The goron is coming soon. It's eyes are already the way they are supposed to be.

I took a quick look, you're actuall missing two pieces on the "ring-thingies". I think you accidently deleted them or something. It's a small thing, and if people really want to build it, they can fix it themselves if the want to but just printing an extra version of these rings and use the parts of those to make a completes set.

Also, the bottom of the bust is not flat. I think you made it into a bust because it's
1) less work obviously
2) they were in the crucifix stance..?
But busts are a nice idea of course. But the bottom of the bust is not perfectly flat. So you can't place them on the base very well (they'll be falling over backwards).
It's a matter of pulling the back parts a little down in SketchUP (from your screenshot I think that's what you're using?) until the bottom is perfectly flat. Then you can easily just place or glue the bust on the base.
I reckon this is your first try, and many people will love you for making a Zelda papercraft I think. With a little extra work you can fix the small flaws it still has.
If you really want to find them all, you should try building it yourself, it's the best way to see if some things could be better.
Keep it up, good luck on your other projects!

this is just how the model is. The people at nintendo just got lazy is all. That's why the two rings match like that.
>> Anonymous
>>63847
as a note about those pieces. you should put the part with the piece missing through the ear, or just cut out that section of ring and put it around the ear.
>> Anonymous
>>63845
I ripped the models myself, and put them in a more natural pose using the wait animations the models came with. It's just to make it an easier build, not an easier design.
>> Anonymous
>>63849
That's why you don't go directly from ripping the model --> to Pepakura, but do an extra step in between: fixing the model in a 3D modelling program. That's the step where you put back those pieces that got forgotten by the people of Nintendo (or whatever reason they have for this). It's also the step where you can make the base flat.
Cutting out a hole for the rings to fit in is more difficult than it sounds, especially if you're not really familiar with 3D modelling... People can do this themselves (make a hole when they built the ears, or just glue the rings on top of the ears, rather than making a hole.
It's a first papercraft so you're experimenting with all the stuff, as you should do. These are just remarks and tips on how I think you can improve in the future.

the second note on my note was to cut the ring and put it on the ear. See image.
>> Anonymous
also the little white triangles should be cut into circles before they are glued on.

hey those ripped models you have, also have positions that arent in the crucified position?
if so can you megaupload or rapidshit them please?
mine are only crucified models and i really want to try my hand at making some models, specifically the ganon model
>> Anonymous
>>63923
It's a bit different than that. I can only get them in poses that you can see them in the game because they are actually ANIMATIONS meaning they move. When they reach the position I want them I export the model. You would have to tell me what position you would want each model because some models have 10+ animations/poses.
>> Anonymous
>>63928
and within each animation there are many different possible poses that I could export them at, so if there is anything you want specificaly then just ask.

as an example I could have missed and one foot would be in the air on this model.
>> Anonymous
right i was meaning can you upload the animations or in fact just ganon in an awesome pose / normal stance (mind you ganon not ganondorf) thanks a lot and one other thing, howd you get the animations o.o
>> Anonymous
>>64105
they come when you rip the models off of the game. And just so you know they don't come in .3ds format and the animations can't be applied to .3ds files.
>> Anonymous
>>64105
i think you mean that you want ganondorf(the humanoid one) ganon is his beast like form

here are a few poses of ganondorf(the one you really want)

and if you really did mean ganon(the pig one) would you be able to tell me what they might call either ganon or a pig in japan(using our alphabet)

my computer doesn't have japanese support, and I wanted it romanized anyway.
>> Anonymous
>>64257
but it would seem to just be ganon anyway, which doesn't work, so what is the japanese word for boar or pig?
>> Anonymous
>>64258
this is all because there are 1397 different files that it could be in and I don't want to look through all of them to find ganon.
>> Anonymous
haha, when I said ganon i did mean the pig like one
>> Anonymous
>>64261
shit, that's gonna be a bitch to find then
>> Anonymous
>>64261
no you definetley want the human shaped one because that's the one I've found already. You'll want the pig one when I find it, but you dont want it yet.
>> Anonymous
>>64264
SO ANON SAYS AND SO IT SHALL BE
>> Anonymous
>>64264
As you try out the files to see what they could be, make a txt document where you make a note of what file contains which model. Just a tip, because if you don't, you'll be wanting a particular model some time later and then you'll have to go through all of them again...
>> Anonymous
>>64266
no I've been doing that. I just haven't gotten to ganon yet. You'd think it would be in the same file as Ganondorf and possessed Zelda, seeing as how that's all about the last boss fight.
>> Anonymous
>>64273
the thing that sucks is that I can't extract the .arc files in a batch, it has to be done one at a time, and some don't even have models or animations in them, and for some you need to take an extra step and run them through another program first, again, one at a time. It really does take a while to find what you are looking for the first time.
>> Anonymous
>>64277
I know, and some files have obvious names, others "not so obvious"...
So it really is a matter of just extracting, converting and opening all the files you're not sure of one by one.
/po/ is a hobby for the patient ones. ;)

>>64279
I know. I'm almost halfway through them all. It shouldn't take too much longer to find it.

but i'm going to be taking a break for a while(day or 2)then I'll get right back to you.
