When it comes to designing papercraft using Pepakura, this is a nice link: http://www.ericksmodels.com/paper/paper.html It's from the guy that made many of those Homeworld models I'm sure you all know (http://paperstarships.tengun.net/), and got others hooked on doing those as well, by writing a nice tutorial. It explains everything from ripping the models, to editing them and using Pepakura. I really advise the guys making the Final Fantasy models to take a look here... ;o)
Another nice link, this time on how to BUILD papercrafts is http://www.cardfaq.org/faq/ All those people that keep asking questions like "what kind of glue should I use?", do some research yourself and you'll find that all of your newbie questions about papercraft have been asked before and better yet: that they've also already been answered... ;o) Where to start your own reasearch? At http://www.google.com
Or instead, just keep asking it here, and somebody else will use Google for you and post his/her finds here. Whatever. ;o)
My own personal opinion on what kind of paper/glue/tools you should use though: whatever is available to you, and what seems to work. Best advice ever, I should think...
