Blender and Pepakura ANon
Anyone know why a model I made in blender is textured in texture mode and when rendered, but when imported to Pepakura designer is either white or grey?

You need to export the texture in Blender, and then import it in Pepakura. Pepakura only supports a couple texture formats, I believe they are .jpeg and .bmp.

UV mapping is messed up i'd say

And just to be certain.... your faces aren't all flipped are they? I mean, before going through retexturing and whatnot, you did make sure to just hit CTRL+N right?

this worked for me, assuming you have the UV mapping alright, the only format that gave me the result i wanted is .obj
choose this in blender File >> Export >> Wavefront (.obj) >> choose your destination, and then click on Export Wavefront OBJ, in the options don-t forget to choose "copy images" the OK, later open this new obj file with pepakura you will be ready to change images or colors, this depends if you have made a good UV Mapping, hope it helps.
