Abrams tank papercraft Anonymous
I have been trying for 3 days to get these pictures to download and they get to like 20% or so before they fail. Can anybody download these suckers? Or does anyone already have it or even a better abrams papercraft?

I've gotten pages 1-3, and page 4 is almost done. I'm tired though, so I'm going to go to bed and upload the rest in the morning.

Thank you whoever posted the other pics to it. There's a snowstorm here, and my parents kept me offline today since they were home, so I never got to upload the files. I figured someone else would do it for me.

But I'm curious OP, couldn't you just refresh the picture and use the internet cache to start where the download left off? That's what I did on the page I uploaded.

I tried that repeatedly, but the farthest I ever got was on page one, which I edged up to about 35%. But since I was getting headway in all of 1kb increments, and each refresh took about an hour, it was all but impossible for me to get the pics. Plus safari and opera (at least the Mac version) seem to have wonky caches if you reload a pic more than 70 times – it basically says, "That's all you're getting, accept it or piss off." :-P

I'm on a Mac too, and I've had that problem with Safari a lot as well. I've given up on it, and I've never used Opera, though I've thought about it many times. I now use Firefox. I love the fact that Firefox is kept updated by a bunch of computer programmers that are also fed up with glitchy browsers that don't keep up with technology.

So basically like so many before me, I reccomend Firefox. That's how I was able to get the pictures. The first one was the only one that I had to refresh the page on.

Overall, the only problems I have had with using safari and being on a mac in general.

Safari has issues with narod.ru sites – not exactly something to switch browsers for, especially with /po/ for help.

Safari does not let me access the "add more writers" option to my blogger account, so I have to use opera for that.

Macs can't usually open every PDO file.

So they are little more than minor annoyances. Especially now that Mac took that 20 downloads at once limit out of safari's download manager, I have no problems apart from what I just mentioned.

I didn't like how Safari has to download every image file twice in order for it to get to the desktop. There are some other issues that would come up on occasion, and I think certain image files was one of them. I don't know your reason for owning a Mac, they're nice machines, but mine was originally for illustration and graphic design. Now I'm a painting and drawing major, and I use my computer for images now just as much as I did back then, possibly even more so.

There are certain things I like about every browser I've ever used, and Firefox seems to have most of these in one program, so I don't have to switch browsers based on what I'm dealing with that night.

Buh? I've never heard of that, I just saved an image using Safari and it saved just fine. O_o But Firefox is much better, I agree with that.

It downloads it first as a page, but then when you try to drag it onto the desktop, it has to get the data to save it all over again. I don't know if they fixed this on 10.4, but I know that this exists on 10.2 and 10.3.

It's not obvious or much of a problem unless you're on dial up.
