I'm looking for the Katamari Damacy cat if anyone has it. I lost it in a reformat. Have this Tiny Mage in exchange! And any other Katamari stuff you have I guess.

That's all I had saved. I remember another thread from a week or so ago with a couple more characters and a katamari, maybe someone else can post them. As far as I know nobody has made any of the 'irregular' shaped characters, they're all just ones that have used the Prince as a template.

Yeah, I'm currently working on Velvet and already have Nik kind of figured out in my mind. When I've been looking at some of the 23 cousins, I've been wondering whether people would prefer for the size of each cousin to stay relatively the same, or if it's fine for the more complex characters to span 2 pages.

If anyone would like to give me input on what they would prefer, then please feel free to post what you think.

If you can make it fit on one page, then make it so it fits on one page. Simple papercrafts are nice when they're just on one simple jpeg.
>> Anonymous
>>61766

I'd like them to stay around the same height when completed, doesn't matter how many pages that means it'll be.
>> mew
>>61766
you could always just make the prince looking ones as big as the other one =P

I would like them all about the same, if you could fit it. It would be nice to have a little collection of the prince and all his cousins :]

I'm working on a cousin just now. Should be done tonight :)

Hopefully we can work together and get all the cousins completed.

That would be great. I haven't gotten a chance to try out this version of Velvet yet, but I've done 2 test builds already, so I think this should be about it for completion...I hope.

I've also made one for Johnson and have modified the June template. I know there are already two that exist, but neither one has the pattern or the sides of the head correct. Both of them are really close, though, so it only took about 30 min. to edit.

Also thanks to everyone who has given input on what their preferences are for the templates. I'll try to keep all the cousins on one page each if possible, but will not do so if it means that there will be a large sacrifice in size. Besides, these can get a little difficult to assemble and cut out if there are some that go down to a finished size of about 2 inches.

I think Miso, Foomin, and Honey might run larger than 1 page because of their heads. Nik might as well, but I doubt it.

I know this might sound unrelated, but does anyone know how to connect a Sony PS2 to a Sony Hi Def TV? I had fun last week with tech support. Between what they knew on their end and what I knew on my end, we couldn't get it connected. I know that this will require some kind of cable or adapter that doesn't ship with the PS2, so if someone knows what I need, then it would save me the time searching for it myself.

Now for the reason why I want to be able to hook the PS2 up to a Hi Def TV. I can take nice hi quality pictures off of a High Definition TV that I just can't get on the CRT monitors. If I could hook up the PS2 to the Hi Def TV, I could take nice reference pictures for any of the characters in the Playstation games my boyfriend and I own.

Nice work, Jen (I'm the anonymous you've been replying to). I can't get to my PS2 just now, so I've had to use crappy pictures I've googled for reference. I don't know anything about hi-def TVs, sorry.

Here's my first attempt- Daisy. I'm out of printer ink so I can't test build these yet. If anyone else wants to have a go at making it and takes a photo that'd be great.

My other one will be finished in a few minutes...

The only reason I have a PS2 is because my boyfriend and I decided to get one with some of our Christmas money last year. I got Katamari Damacy off of Amazon.com, and it's one of the few games I've actually paid $20 for. My parents decided to get the Hi Def LCD TV a month or two ago.

The fun thing about this mess is that I've already hooked up an NES to the Hi Def TV, but I can't get Sony's gaming system to work with a Sony television set. I figure I could probably hook up the N64 to the thing, and I know the SNES will work with it. I know they corrected this problem with the PS3, but for the PS2 no such luck. The audio from the PS2 plays just fine, but the video is a blank screen.

Is she one of the second cousins from We Love Katamari? I've never gotten to see that one in action yet. The closest I've gotten is seeing the case to it in person. A friend got an entire floor of an art and design dorm hooked on Katamari Damacy one year. Since then, I know that he has We Love Katamari, and that the sequel is a lot longer than the first. In the morning I'll try to go through and give a rapidshare link to a rar archive with a picture or two of each cousin I took off of a CRT. I'll create the archive tomorrow, and try to use 2 good reference photos for each cousin. They're all taken from the collection page of the game.

We were both on the same wavelength, because I made a version of Lalala today as well. I'm lazy though, so I didn't bother to reshape the lower half of her body. The upper half is like all the other cousins, but the lower half is more like a jellybean, as she's showing off her cute little E-rated rear.

Opeo was the next one I was thinking about doing. You beat me to that one. Very nicely done. I'm guessing that you're having to base what you're doing off of the production art. That's why I allowed for Velvet to have optional legs and feet.

I've got pictures of the first cousins uploaded. I hope its good enough for trying to figure out what's going on with each character.
