has anybody tried this bald eagle yet? the bitch is huge! 1/2 scale! 35 pages!

I'm currently working on their lucky hammer and unicorn, but when i get donw with those, i'm gonna start on this. anybody have any tips on avoiding snags? anything i should know before i start?

I did it, I even posted a thread with a huge rant about the experience.

Listen, this is very important. DO NOT do this one if you value the making process more than the result.
It's hell. It seriously is. Cutting it is a mess, gluing the whole thing is a well, but I'll be damned if the result isn't REALLY awesome. Also, you'll need 2-3 tries to get the claws to get right, they'll fall apart and break every once in a while. I got tired of making them all the time, so I just threw him in the closet.
So it's a fair trade there, yeah. If you can put up with the shit that is building it, after one wing you'll get a huge kick from the sheer size of the thing.

I'm not home right now, so if you want some pics/help, post and I'll see what I can do.
