anyone got any requests for papercraft, with decent source material, that i might be interested in designing? i gave up on my tv project (well, i finished it i suppose) and am now bored.

How about the Simouns and their carriers fromthe series "Simoun"? Lots of curved and textures to give a designer room to stretch their talents and the idea they are variable units and operate in 2 modes adds to the challenge.

What, you want to get people to like you by making them a paper model? What's your own favourite anime/video game?

i just want something to do. i don't care if 4channers like me or not.. that said, in terms of my own interests, i was thinking of making canti from flcl. but hasn't that already been done?

never heard of this, will give it some thought though... looks complex. xD

Metal Gear RAY would be awesome (and damn hard to make with its curves). Our REXes are very lonely...

i'll bear that in mind, but this abe is looking very promising. i just need to fit together the legs, head and body that i found, apply the right textures, and (gulp) make it realistic to put together. oh, and perhaps obtain permission from the guy who made the models..

Could you make starcraft models? I can't find that picture, but you know the one with all the different units on a table. I think it was an origami thing, but no one has instructions for them.

hrm, bet you guys thought i'd given up or something... well i havent! although, the poly count seems quite high right now, and stitching together textures from different body parts manually is proving difficult... but hopefully it'll be in testing by next week..
