Allright, I just finished my last project and decided to make a kamikuzu gun, that is until I saw this http://finalpaper.net/bbs/board.php?bo_table=gal_soup&wr_id=23210
I remember in an earlier thread someone posted the templates for this gun. I stupidly didn't save it because I didn't have any pictures to build it off of. So in short /r/ gun in pic. You have yet to fail me /po/

I think I found the download link, it's here but you have to be a member to download. Anyone have an account?

I liked the design very much... until I looked at the pictures.

I know it's only a paperbox shaped like a revolver pistol, but I saw something that spoiled it all.

The hammer is located right at the top, like it's supposed to line with the upmost bullet in the drum... although the front design suggest, that IF it was a real gun, it would fire from the downmost chamber, since it is there where the barrel is located.

I know I will be ridiculled, and I admit the model isn't a total fail. It looks totally badass.

I don't like the incosistency though.

I enjoyed this model, making it and playing with it after it was done. If only the trigger and hammer moved like the Kamikuzu python model, it would be epic. A bit of note though, I'd suggest reinforcing the grip to make it more solid and making sure the hinge joint is well secured, if you plan on messing around with it like I did. Sucks to have it collapse in on you.

And for the hammer design, blame Nightow. If you can explain the mechanics of the Cross Punisher, you can probably explain the mechanics behind this gun.

The hammer is not indicative of the firing pin.

Whoops, forgot pic. :-P

As for the mechanics, the hammer and firing pin should be two separate parts, like it is in the Mateba(Togusa's gun), which Vash's gun is based upon.

Mateba isn't exactly a good example here. It's an excepion rather. The second gun in history trying to be an automatic revolver.

You can clearly see my point on your picture there. Hammer, although being a separate part, is actually striking the pin with it's head, so both should be lined with firing chamber.

We can of course assume, that model in question is of hypothetical automatic revolver, and hammer isn't actually a hammer, but some kind of mechanical actuator, or smth (making things up, again).
