Holidays are coming /po/...

Got any box to put my small gifts into?

I have some on my computer, but even though the pattern looks good, they're too small to use. I need like a pattern that requires more than a single sheet of paper to make. :/

What are those in OP's pic? I like those.
Simple and (dare I say it) cute

Tomoko Fuse's book is great for boxes. there's different patterns and shapes too.

Those boxes look cool..

But it's not in any of Tomoko Fuse's origami box books.

Where did you get that pic OP?

You can also find good papercraft boxes on the Canon site.

http://cp.c-ij.com/english/3D-papercraft/event/gift-box-f_e.html and look in the left hand column.

Same person.
I just was given a box simliar to these by my friend (it had a chocolate in it).
If no one has found a pattern and it's still wanted I'll try and take it apart to get one.

I created a colourless version of the Canon Starbox. I also managed to cut it down to 5 pages, but I threw out the frippery - there was a paper bow in the original design but it's best if you buy proper ribbon and make it yourself.

Here it is.

This is the blank version I made of the Canon Starbox. I cut it down from 10 to 5 pages, minus the frippery. I tied mine together with some ribbon bought from a card shop, looks better anyway.

How did you change the box from the original design? I tried changing one of the red boxes, but when I tried to open it in any editing program it says I need a password.

I took the long way around - found a program to convert the PDF into DXF, then imported DXF into vector program, then tidied them up, then exported to PNG, then took them into Open Office, then saved it as a PDF for your printing pleasure.
