Which pose? Anonymous
I want /po/'s opinion on this:
I'm planning on making a papercraft. One idea is a vivid pose like the model is hanging from the edge of a cliff. Looks quite nice I think, but you can't really see the front of the model. You might hang the model from your monitor (if I get the balance right). And I'm also thinking of a stand made from transparant sheets, so you hang the model from a transparant "rock" so you can see the front through the sheet.

Or should I just make it a simple standing model so you can see all sides in full glory? That will also look very nice, but I find it a little boring.
I'm afraid it's gonna have to be between these two poses, I'm leaning towards the climbing pose, but does /po/ think it would be too much of a shame not to be able to see the front in full glory?

how about a hanging pose, with one hand being used to hold the character up, or mayble an inventive 'grapple hook' involving string( and something to weight the character with) using a pose as if resting on the 'cliff' while haning on the grapple chord. both will allow a frontal view

This pose would enable you to see at least half of the front body.

I agree with this, maybe it should be more of a hanging than actually climbing pose. If you made it so that the model could sort of be hanging by a rope, the model could be hung from the ceiling etc and could always be rotated to see every side. Plus, that would also look way cool ^^
