Which is better, A or B?
>> Anonymous
Seems to me A would be better. There are a lot fewer tabs in one place, and aligning will be a lot easier

Agreed, A looks a lot more welcoming

Thank you for your input.
Now I will start unfolding the real template.

I was just asking myself not an hour ago what happened to this model.

B is better for lineless because you can use the end of the tabs to know where to fold if the textures dont show any difference.

i'd go for b - less overlapping tabs & easier to do one side first
>> Anonymous
I agree with B, too
>> Anonymous
I have to say B too. You would do the one side tab by tab, then glue all the tabs for the other side and hold it on a flat surface for a minute.

I'm gonna have to vote for B also. A would be really awkward to glue on the finger where the tabs come from the different sides of the joint.

OP here. I've done a test try of B and it sucked. Getting the tiny strip that fills the space in between the fingers is like dining in hell.
So I'll stick with A on the hands.
But that brings up a interesting question:

What's your strategy on tab placement?

Score it, bend it, glue it, jam it.

Have you tried out A yet? I don't see how A could possibly be easier. B would be a lot easier to close the object.

What if I mix the two and have one side like A and the other like B?

That's quite possibly the worst idea I've ever heard.
