Hey, just a quick note to anyone else who is still trying to hunt down old issues of Dengeki videogame magazines... don't give up.Actually spotted this magazine in the wild... but in a used magazine store, and the papercraft was removed :(The hunt continues...
Oh, the humanity! But I must commend you for reporting this spotting.
damn. what was the name of the store you saw it in?
Something like Book Barn or Book Trader; it was a used paperback bookstore, and they also had used magazines; found that in a box and went nuts until I saw that the papercraft was removed :(
Used magazine store? Any other places besides "book barn" or "book trader" that sell used magazines? Never heard of doing that before today.
Used paperback stores are sorta common... if you're not much of a reader, you might not be familiar with them, though. They're usually privately owned; they're not chain stores. I've only seen a few that have magazines, and that was the first one that I saw that had foreign ones... thought I had found a miracle until I leafed through.
>>106320Mind telling me where you live, no specifics, for this purpose? If USA tell me the state, if anywhere else, screw it.
Yes we would like to know where you live.
CT, but I travel a bunch. Been checking NY, RI, MA, NJ, VT, NH, PA, MD...
>>106344Which isn't as impressive when you realize they're all 5 minute walks.I'll keep a lookout in stores here where I live, though I really have no idea where stores are that sell used magazines.By the way that first part was a joke. ;)
I had only been checking import video game stores and comic book shops until a friend mentioned used paperback stores..Yeah, states in my area are sorta crammed together. Stick 'em all inside TX, and you'd still have half the state left over.
I'll check the used bookstores here next time I get out.
