here is what I have been working on since a few days
>> Charles Bradbury
Looks amazing.
Definitely lots of small polys there, but something tells me it's still buildable.
Best of luck.
>> Chamoo232
>>200816
thats why I made the hands and other parts 2d. I want the model to be about 10 inch tall. the tail part has alot of polygons but once on the template it will be 4 stripes

Hot damn. Inspired by that other thread?

Too bad there's no decent joints option available for papercrafts, then we could recreate scenes from the movie using your models.

You guys are wasting your time. I already made this paper-mâché and it is a billion times better. Plus I made 2 different heads that you can exchange.
>> Anonymous
What would the stand look like? It obviously couldn't stand on its own.

YOU ARE SO AMAZING. I AM IN AWE OF YOUR SKILL.

Is that what you wanted to hear? Okay, there it is. Now get the fuck out. You're not wanted.

im thinking of something very simple. a round piece with some grass or brick texture and possibly a pumpkin
>> Chamoo232
     File :-(, x)
texturing is progressing very well
>> Cotton Eyed Joe !s5rR18z5kQ
>>200913
I love that whole stitched-up look on his mouth.
>> Anonymous
It looks very good as always!
The head looks like it can be difficult to make because of all the small pieces needed to be able to curve it like that.
How will you attach the brim of the jacket? (the "ring" around the white part)
>> Anonymous
>>200863

I think it would be awesome if you made the stand a kind of a diorhama with spiral hill in the background
>> Anonymous
im moar like make him 18 inch
>> Anonymous
Chamoo, you stopped Psycho Mantis?? :(
>> X !!Yc0bFuexJCy
>>200914

I agree. It's looking fantastic, Chamoo.
>> Chamoo232

>>200937
I dont have space in my room for an 18 inch model.
>>200941
more or less. im just not actively working on it but like many models I did I might come back to it later
>>200927
that would require Jack to be very little or the stand to be huge and once again I don't have space in my room for diorama
>>200918
im keeping the model as simple as possible without making it look like a box. most parts will be stripes that you curve and add to the body. the head work this way. the collar work this way. the shoulders too.

>>200850

It's fucking paper-mâché, not rocket science. Anyone with the free time could make it without your instructions.

>> Anonymous

test build finished. it look amazing considering how hard he ended up being to build. he is 12 inch tall but I will probably scale up the template so he is 16-18 inch to make him a bit easier. the template is simple but the parts are tricky to glue together

Release template asap pretty please, this is amazing and I wish to build it as soon as possible.

Many thanks.
>> Chamoo232
>>202460
I have no choice to make it very big because some parts like the collar are very tiny. and to make a part 2x the size I would need to make the whole model 2x taller. but I think 16-18 inch should make the smallest parts big enough.
