order from amazon (it'll really increase the life of your blades) and use cardboard on a table in the meantime.

I use a piece of card stock. It's pretty shitty, but you can always print more.

Paper, white glue, paper knife*, scissors, ruler, one sheet of A3 heavy weight paper** (to protect your table from scratches, glue drops, etc). That should be enough.

* — or box cutter or letter opener
** — or cuttingmat. Or just a piece of hard plastic.

Such threads are strange. Like people expect some magic tools which will make papercrafts for them.
