"Sealing" Paper Models? Anonymous
Wikipedia's article on card models says that you can seal a finished model. With what though, and how exactly would this work?

I think that they might be talking about using a "fixative" (prob the wrong word). It comes in a can, kinda like spray on adhesive, and you use it for when you're using charcoal or other things like that. You spray it on top to stop your artwork from being rubbed off/smudged.

Hmm, just read the article. Well, either what I said before, or maybe they mean using spray on glue to make it more solid. I dunno.

Yes, it's called fixative.

Make sure to spray it outside or in a ventilated room, it's VERY strong and bad for you.
This stuff is usually used to protect artwork from water/smudging/etc. I believe this would protect the ink on the card, but I don't think it would protect it from being squashed (maybe a little).
