I cannot, for the life of me, figure out the Kawasaki rose.

Having trying to find various instructions on how to make it, I've found that http://www.wikihow.com/Fold-a-Paper-Rose is the easiest. However, no matter which tutorial I use I constantly find myself stumbling over myself at steps fifteen to sixteen. I simply can't make the nice square they have at the top when I fold the corners round. If you could help, that would be the best.

tl;dr - How do I make the Kawasaki rose?

I'll do my best to explain it to you with pictures. I actually haven't got any origami paper right now, so I'm just going to use notebook paper.

I learned how to make the Kawaski rose from this video:

http://www.metacafe.com/watch/609223/origami_kawasaki_rose/

It was one of the first models I had ever made. I always fold it like the guy in the video, because in my opinion it's the easiest way to make this rose.
