Hailo, /po/.

I am requesting some simple and easy paper crafts. Perhaps a cupcake as well, for when I eventually get better. Thank you.

Good God. For all you hardcore papercrafters out there, my hat goes off to you. This took me about an hour to get a somewhat crappy result.

What do you find hard about it? I'm not trying to be insulting or anything. It just requires patience in my opinion.

I couldn't really get any of the folds to fit together right. The cutting part was easy. Just the gluing mostly.

what kind of glue are you using? and how much?

Elmer's Glue. I tried to keep it at a fairly small amount. I used a piece of leftover cardstock to spread it around a bit. Thankfully, my second papercraft attempt worked much better than the first. I guess it's just something I need to experiment a bit more with.

I use ordinary school glue too. Cheap stuff I found lying around. I don't have any trouble with gluing small pieces, due in part to my being a girl. But I've heard the whole left over paper thing. Here's what I do: I squeeze a glob on to a card or I guess you could use left over card stock. I don't use card stock though, the corners fray and it's aggravating. I use 24lb. paper... two sheets glued together with Duck brand glue stick(which you have to be 18 to buy because kids huff it)if I need it that thick. And to apply the glue I use this thing you can get at walmart for a couple bucks, it's a blackhead/pimple extractor. I just thought it'd work nicely, and it does. One end is flat, I use that for applying thin amounts of glue, the other end is rounded, great for creasing. it's also good for holding stuff down inside that your fingers can't reach. I just thought it was so easy and producing cool stuff so I jumped right into the more difficult ones.

My best advice, never squirt glue directly onto the tabs.

Ok, there's a file of easy, medium and hard papercrafts>>67185is just the easy file.

This was a little hard to determine the different levels so don't bitch if it seems easier or harder than the file it's in.

Hide in the hiding place where no one ever goes.
Put it in your pantry with your CUPCAKEs.
It's a little secret just the Robinsons' affair.
Most of all you've got to hide it from the kids.
