Printing papercraft designs on construction paper.
Can it be done?
Is it a cheap replacement for card?
Is it easy to fold?
ITT we discuss.

Relatively easy to fold, not a replacement for card in the least. However, it can be done (I've actually done it) for average results, as long as you're just doing something you don't care about so much. Don't go trying to make a masterpiece with construction paper.

Yes it can be done. Yes it can be folded (though it leaves an odd crease if you fold it the wrong way). Yes it can be a replacement for cardstock (albeit a thin one).

I wouldn't say it's easy to fold, since it's pretty fibrous (depending on what quality you have), and tends to fold however it wants. Crisp folds are a pain in the ass unless you use a straight edge. Much easier to glue, however.

For comparison, here's what happens when you use relatively cheap construction paper (and admittedly are very inexperienced at the time).
