Discworld
Just as I was about to start cutting up my £15's worth of book and scanning it...
I did a quick search

That's a very nice find!
In the shops all I could ever find regarding papercraft, were castles, and other old buildings. Never any videogame/anime papercraft, now that would've been cool! Here on /po/, I'm glad that there are so many vg/a papercrafts, but this one reminds me of those old castle/buildings papercrafts. Same style/artwork... Looks great, thanks!
And I'm glad you found it before you cut up your book... Nowadays, many papercraft books come with a CD-ROM so you can print the parts yourself if you don't want to ruin the book. If not, I would always try to scan the parts, instead of cutting up the book...

I know this is not the best place to ask, but out of curiosity I did a little search about discworld and I'm interested now. where should I start? reading? playing the videogames? comics? where could I find them (buying is the last resource here)?

The games are awesome and all, but you'll enjoy them more if you read the books first, that's where I would start as well - the books, in order they're released, each few books feature the same characters and that's how you can read them as well. And finally you can probably find scans of the books somewhere but it's so much better to go to store and buy them to read (better for your eyes as well).
