yeah, i startet with a cool model instead of an easy one as well. pic very related.
>> Anonymous
>>126046here

these legs are fucking impossible.
>> Anonymous
>>126048
You have to crease them in 5 spots. Once where the big tab is, and once between each triangle tab, and then once more across the square section that sticks out above the tabs.

If you do it right, it'll come out looking like a veeeeeery long square.

>> Anonymous
>>126751
>>126752
lol nice
let's just hope the legs won't give up one day under the weight.
>> Katsuko
>>126771
I thought about that too, but the webcam is reallllly light, and I used hot glue to help strengthen the questionable parts. :3
>> Anonymous
Really cool man. :-D

You could've use a wire armature to further strenghten it. ;-)
>> Xydirus
>>126751
>>126752
you know, for that kind of project you could have used those long wood sticks that people use to eat sausages (don't know if they have a specific name) instead of the legs, you just had to break a pen and roll the stick in the ink.
then, you should have inserted the sticks INSIDE the "thights" and pasted them inside the superior face, so it would be kept in place and the inferior part wouldn't break eventually...
I know that this way it'd be much more artesanal, but (i think that) it would be able to hold the camera longer

Webcam Turret poster here, cat did a good job of snapping the legs. I had some bamboo skewers, they worked perfectly. Thanks guys!
>> Xydirus
>>127770
ur welcome, but actually I just got the idea of pasting inside the piece to get more stability from the robocop robot, so i can't take all the credit...
