Are there any apps out there that help you with the basics of origami? Something with simple examples that show each fold occuring in 3D. I'm trying to learn, but I always end up making some mistake because the diagram is confusing to read. The best model I can fold right now is a waterbomb, hardly impressive.

Can't think of anything like that, just practice some simple ones, the diagrams can be confusing, look ahead 1 or 2 steps to see what shape you should get and try to figure it out. Seriously IMO if you can do the bird then you can do like 3/4 of the less advanced origami.

often there a re videos on youtube of people doin origami. not usre how hard it would be to find one for a specific model your doin, never tried searchin myself
