EVE-Online Papercrafts? Anonymouse
I would love me some EVE-Online Papercrafts of some of the various ships, the Thorax especially. But I haven't seen them! Do they exist? Can they? Pic very related.

A gallente shuttle would be a great papercraft. That or an incursus, but it would have to be tech 2.

Bump?

As far as I know, does not exist... yet.
Did not find anything searching any sites I have bookmarked.

How about the URL of an official website or a dedicated fansite for the game (I assume it's a game), so that folks who know nothing about it (me, for one) can learn more and perhaps track something down?

Oh, and if you say "Google it", then you can use Google to find your crafts :P Just kidding. But the more information you give, the more of a chance someone will find what you're looking for.

Okay, just spent another little while looking. Seems folks in the EVE Online forums are working on this right now. See the bottom of the first post on http://myeve.eve-online.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=298451

Rifter and Heron.

There may be more models on the site; try searching the same section of forum, or perhaps more posts by the same author.

For someone who has never even bothered looking at the game before, it didn't take me that long to find stuff. Enjoy?

Interesting... any Caldari boats would make great papercrafts, as they have sharp geometric shapes.
Ferox would be a nice challenge...

taking a bit of a break from my homework...

If you have Eve and you want papercrafts get these tools:
1. Triexporter:
http://www.agronom.pl/selvin/Default.aspx?tabid=66
2. DDS Converter:
http://eliteforce2.filefront.com/file/DDS_Converter;29412
3. Pepakura Designer
4. crossed fingers/3D Max (to edit the files into pieces that can be dealt with easier then the big huge 3ds file
5. Googles SketchUp (for making instructions):
http://sketchup.google.com/product_suf.html

Smiffa, the first person who ever made Eve papercraft templates made them by hand. He had the 3d models and he unfolded them manually. His work will probably be better then this because his method works through each piece individually. This makes for a "tighter" template in some ways.

But this method is for the hacks like me who just use other peoples tools...

Wow, nicely done 30177. shame i uninstalled Eve just the other day.i guess i'll reinstall to give this a go.
Plenty of time go's into these types of games, i've been looking for some way to imortalise a few of my guild wars characters, rather than just screen shots. Is there any way of doing the same kind of thing with them?
