first I need to know which game you are thinking of ripping.

Every game company has its own methods of compressing and storing the game data for their games. So there's not one Masterprogram that can read and de-compress them all. If a game is popular enough, sometimes there's some nerdy fan that writes a program to do this for a specific game. And sometimes nobody did and then you're out of luck...
Google a lot, and you'll come across many forums, be sure to read every posts because the link you need is bound te be in post 501 if you're about to give up after reading the first 500 posts...

Nope sorry, it runs from some kind of emulator on the disc like that special bonus Zelda disc with Ocarina of time and the Master quest on it. Meaning it has a rom on it with no 3d data.

i dont know much about getting models of games or if you can see the files if when inserted to your computer. But you should really just look at what ever the file extension is .mdl for example then good that w/ decompile.

is there another program ?

its really a matter of just googleing. it took me about a week of not much sleep to figure out how to view/extract 3d models from hl games. i never found a clear tutorial just random bits that helped along the way.

USE GOOGLE. a quick search for "gamecube rip model", and a tone of stuff comes up. Im feeling nice this morning so hear is a huge hint. This program came up in a few forums. its a Chinese thing but Google translate covers that

http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=zh-CN&u=http://www.gameassassin.com/&sa=X
&oi=translate&resnum=1&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3DGameAssassin%26hl%3Den%26safe%3D
off%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US:official%26hs%3DHCD

also keep in mind this stuff is not easy to to figure out and support is limited to the geeks that have paved the way. And once you have the model chances are its not created in a way that suitable for paper craft, requiring editing in a 3d program.
