Nothing to be worried about.

You can only patent a specific implementation. Some place like /po/ would obviously not fall under this, unless Safko himself owns 4chan.

> A system for providing paper models over a wide area computer network includes a user computer that communicates with a model server via the Internet. The model server includes a database of paper model files, e.g., the pieces of the models and assembly instructions. The corresponding method allows a user to access the model server via the Internet and download paper models. The paper models are printed at a printer connected to the user computer. A user can then assemble the paper models following the assembly instructions.

So how do you buy a patent for an art form?

Ugh, well as long as he doesn't try to give anyone hell over it, I don't care.

People like this are pieces of shit.
>> Jen
Hahaha. I was waiting for someone to do this legally.

So...It says on the free paper models part of the site that he is going to mess around with what models are free from time to time to keep people coming back. Who wants to be in charge of stealing from someone who steals?

And now I should really look at what the hell he did to get that patent. It might come in handy someday.

To bad he left out the glue.. Once ya add glue it becomes null & void
>> M.
Now to patent putting paint on a canvas :)

Glue, that's it! We patent the process of assembling the pattern with glue. Then /po/ will OWN Lon Safko. Ha Ha Ha...

who cares, we're pirates anyways

This is a patent for a way to distribute the models, not the models themselves. He doesn't own shit.

Dammit! You realized what I was going to use it for. Remember to research all of the other materials artists tend to use for paintings other than paint and canvas. I figure you can figure out some of them, and I can figure out some others, that way we both get a part of the profits. :)

I watched the interview and the guy says the really complex models take an hour, fucking liar.

I got really negative sleaze bag emotion from him. But he does seem like an onto it businessman, i grudgingly respect that, what a cunt though.
