Was this ever uploaded? Anonymous
I was watching the thread carefully and it got to the point where the guy said he just needed to upload the scans somewhere.

But now the thread is gone and I don't know if the scans were uploaded.
Sorry for not contributing anything to /po/ this time around, but since there's already a bunch of request post and all,I don't think I'll do any harm.

Bad scans though, need a lot of fixing, which someone supposedly did but has yet to upload it somewhere. The guy who scanned the model promised to rescan it in a bigger scanner.

Thanks!,are these scans from the thread that was here just a few days ago or are these older.
I just ask because your reply is a little confusing as to when these scans were posted.
I missed the upload and any talk of fixing scans if the conversation was in that thread.
Thanks again :)

they are from the threads that is gone now, the new scans won't turn up until next week.

Cool, thanks a lot. Some tabs are almost not visible at all, some edit jobs will be needed, as well as aligning I guess.
BTW I've just notice the nipples, I was like WTF? LOL

Are
>>31231's scans in the PDF the same as
>>31239's scans?
>> Anonymous
can someone make the alignments on the new scans and upload them in a .pdf or something ready for printing?
>> Anonymous
And after you align them, can someone print and build it for me?

>>31241Cool, thanks a lot. Some tabs are almost not visible at all, some edit jobs will be needed, as well as aligning I guess.

Should've given 'em to me, I'd have made better scans. Would've be a dick and kept the originals, but hey... Nothing's for free... ;o)
>> Anonymous
Has anyone actually tried to build this yet using the scans provided?
>> Anonymous
i think it is impossible!
how align front and back with this scan, it´s almost impossible a a fuck work
i know the guy who scaned had a good intention, but i don´t think possible make a papercraft that the pattern have invicible fold lines.
>> buurrnn
why u whining so much. go buy it if u dont like the scans. it will prob take a little bit in photoshop to line them up but at least u have the templates for it for free. if u even looked at the pictures u can see the fold lines for it.

Has the PDF been uploaded anywhere yet?
Nobody has answered my question about the scans being the same as the ones on http://4chan.mirrorspock.com.
>> that's why I buy. Mirror Spock
seeing all the fuss about the scans make me apreciate the originals even more. only 2 mode working days and I have a 10 day holiday.

Well the whole point was to share the next best thing to the originals with everybody(an awesomely nice gesture),so everybody could enjoy building the model without having to buy one themselves.
The only problem is that what has been shared isn't up to par with something that would work for everybody, thus all the fuss.
I'm still hoping to build one of these but I don't have a way of getting the original templates myself,so I have to rely on somebody making some good scans(some people are that nice).
>> buurrnn
If people cant work with the scans that are already uploaded then they dont need to build this papercraft...

I also tried pasting the "cut-up" version together, but every time I aligned the part at the bottom, the parts at the top would be mis-aligned... So did you align all parts seperately?
Also: if you need a place to upload that 69 MB file, you can use www.rapidshare.com or another filehoster: that's what they're there for.

Me don't think we're gonna see the "69 MB pdf" anytime soon, since me don't think it exists.
The guy in>>31231probably *did* give up but was just unwilling to admit defeat.
Aligning the cut-in-half templates isn't as easy as it sounds...
Just like cutting away the grey in the Terminator so you're left with just the outlines so you can print it on some shiny, metallic cardstock: not as easy as it sounds. I dare you guys to prove me wrong by posting your adjusted, finished templates.

Well I'm the OP of the terminator template and here's PART of the terminator's skull. I'm posting this to prove that's its not impossible if you have the necessary tools. It took me a mere 2 minutes to get rid of the grey that ought to be silver, using ONE tool in photoshop.

You challenge posters to post 'final' copies so you don't have to do any of the work. Do not shoot people providing you with templates when our original intention of posting was to simply make templates available for the public. May it be 'raw' data or whatnot, you'd ought to be grateful that someone actually tried sharing this to the public.

>>31836

Amen to that!

>>31836You challenge posters to post 'final' copies so you don't have to do any of the work.
Well dûh... Pretty obvious, obviously. I am in fact very grateful for you uploading the scans of the Terminator, and for this guy uploading the Priston Tale archer.
But myself, I failed miserably when trying to align and paste the two parts of the archer together.

First I was hoping for somebody to buy and upload the kit, and now I'm hoping for somebody to correctly align the two parts of each page. Does this really surprise you..? (well, obviously not, you saw right through me, well done!)

As for your Terminator, I haven't tried the "magic wand" in Photoshop on it myself, but that's because if I ever build it, I'll just print it grey on regular cardstock instead of on metallic cardstock. But I'm sure others would like to have the oncewhen you've done all the pages.
But 88 pages (of which not even all of them have silver parts) times 2 minutes: a little under three hours? Shouldn't you be done already, even if you do have a life besides /po/... I challenge you to sha... no wait, that'll only make him mad...

i went to a paper supplier by my home and i bought metallic 110lb card stock. IT would be perfect for the terminator. I got 25 sheets for 11.00 which is expensive for paper but it will make an amazing papercraft robo
