Alright, /po/, I need your help. I've been trying to track down some online instructions to fold this guy here, and thus far, google has failed me. It's Hideo Komatsu's Horned Owl, and it's from Tanteidan 49, I know that much. I have the crease diagram from Komatsu's website, but have no idea where to go from there, as I have no prior origami experience. I've attempted a bit of folding with some brief success, but I still don't know exactly how the owl is constructed. Thus, anyone to present either scans of the appropriate Tanteidan, or some other form of instructions, shall win so many internets, they will have to buy a second home just to keep them all in.

Please, /po/, I beg of you, help! If it's any help, here's the crease pattern from http://origami.gr.jp/~komatsu/gallery/horned_owl.html
If any one else could even fold one and take pictures, or describe the process to me, I would be eternally grateful! Please, the mangled piece of paper on my desk can't take much more!

honestly, just do more origami and learn how to use/visualize crease patterns if youre that desparate.

Oh, I know I'll eventually figure it out on my own, I just thought a little drama might speed things up a bit. I can see fairly clearly what goes where, I just haven't yet figured out 100% how to put it there. Also, this place needs more Tanteidan scans, and more origami in general.

just one tip:
i like to enlarge the crease patterns and print them in a very light grey and use that as a guideline as to where to fold...anyway, good luck (ill be trying this too)!
