zipper effect Anonymous
A while ago, somebody posted a picture I don't know exactly what papercraft it was, but I remember it had a red (?) spherical part. And one of the comments was that the glueing flaps where not so well designed, because they glued together like a "zipper".
Did anybody save that picture? I'd like to show it to somebody to show them what the "zipper-effect" is in papercraft.

Yes, I think it is; but do you have the finished picture I'm talking about? It really showed the zipper effect very well.

I remember seeing it. It made the result of the papercraft pretty bad.

Exactly why I want to show it.
Although I do believe that with a little more effort, the result wouldn't have been that bad. But I have papercrafts too that I made in a hurry, just to pass time. ;)

if its designed right, zippers can look pretty good. usually they're attached at an end.

\|/ <- like that sorta

but the elibit is so... fucked.

The result looks just as good as with normal tabs (if done right) but the zipper takes a whole lot longer to do right, the only plus side is that it makes for a really strong bond between parts.
