Hello to all,

Can people please let me know how they are getting on with makiing this gun? especially the mechanism.

PLease can somebody post pictures of the mechanism they have made on the actual model.

dude, holy crap! did you have a seizure while you were putting that together? That looks like regular printer paper, if so try using card stock, printer paper is too thin.:)

If in the end he's pleased with the result, then that's all that matters.
Using cardstock would make it stronger though, especially on models like this that are meant to be handled a lot and especially with moving parts.
But not everybody has cardstock lying around, so many people just use printer paper.
Maybe if the build works out, he can get thicker cardstock and he'll be able to build a new, stronger one faster.

Nothing went wrong while making it, that's just how printer paper turns out on a 2ft long model.

I'm only making this one to get the mechanics right, so I can make moving versions of the Hellsing guns. So I don't really mind whether the end result has a few creases in or not. ;)
