o/ @ /i/ from last night.

Thanks to them, we lost the Gedo Senki Papercraft thread.

What am I talking about? See link for sauce:

And: I've looked more closely at the directions, and if you want your dragon to stand up better, they suggest adding a wire. That's what the measurements are for. And the lines going down the middle are alignment marks for the wire.

Since the doubleprinting made it impossible to scan right, you can print as usual, and shine a light through and use a pencil to mark where the wire should go. Esp if you want to hang the flying one, since its wings and its body need extra support.

Good luck!

I haven't made the dragons yet. I've ran out of paper.

Well, there were two dragons in the book right? Sitting and flying? I was asking if the flying one had been scanned yet. Thanks for the link reposts though!
>> Tehanu
The second is the flying.

Looked on rapidsearch, and a kind soul has already converted it all into a pdf file. Instructions and everything are included.

To figure out the kind of wire needed, all you need to do is look at the directions. All numbers are printed in Arabic numerals. You'll see things like "1mm".

For instance, for the interior support wire, it's suggested to use .9mm to 1.2 mm wire.

Craft stores, and I believe possibly hardware stores will have the necessary wire.
The wings also require wire, in order to provide support. This wire should be slightly thicker than the body wire. There's measurements given for this as well.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=j-MrgMLzQuc for a visual too. You can see the springyness of the wire.

The video creator's blog has some good in progress shots too:

I've begun to make my own from the book, so chance for scans goes down. But question-chance goes up!

I am documenting my own progress through photos, so if someone needs help, I might be able to help.
