Ok, my mother wants me to go to my little brothers school for Halloween and make origami for the kindergartners. I have seen bats and stuff, but nothing that would make a small child go "BAT!!!". I need some stuff that wouldn't require the eye of an origami enthusiast to realize what it is, but i need it to be sorta simple, for the younglings. thanks for any help

Don't underestimate the little ones. I have had to work with children and origami. They love fortune tellers, flapping cranes, and bow ties! Just add a paper clip to the back and they love 'em. There is even a book out, just go to your local bookstore and have a peek.

comes in pdf and jpeg the onlt issue might be black paper but i guess the teachers could get the little darlings to colour in their paper first to see how the bat turns out, this is also known as a time killer for the teachers, if you are still worried about the like ness of a bat get the teachers to cut a whole bunch of little triangles for teeth and get plastic eyes from the craft room, or go nuts with a permanent marker drawing faces if white paper is used

Honestly check the bat out from origami club.

I know kindergartners can make that. It's also obviously a bat.
