Anyone have any good designs for your standard 8.5" x 11" piece of paper? I'm looking for things to practice/fold while in school, etc.

So, basically anything that doesn't involve cutting. Pictar unrelated.

Here's the first thing that came to mind. Sorry about the crappiness, drawn by hand. You don't see these around often nowadays, just cranes and water balloons... and fortune tellers, stupid fortune tellers.

What happens in the second step? I don't know where to put fold A :<

This is pretty much what I'm looking for, though :)

Sorry about that. Here's a picture that might help. You basically just fold BC on top of A.

Thanks! I think i got it :) It looks pretty neat. Are you supposed to be able to stick your fingers in it (like those fortune tellers) and move it around?

Cause if not, then woot, I nailed it.

Nope, you just hold it on the outside and pinch/release to make the mouth open and close. It's great for pinching people or amusing little kids.

Instructions to making flightless plane:
1) Grab paper
2) Fold in half the long way
3) Fold corner to edge of sheet
4) Fold opposite corner to opposite sheet
5) Fold inwards, as shown
6) Repeat 3-5 to other side of paper
7) Fold sides of paper under the "wings"
8) Fold one of the wings from both sides, towards each fold
9) Fold opposite side into folded wing
10) Fold bottom under the plane, add wings, fold top.

And that's it, 10 simple steps to an idiotic flightless plane.
