Hi, /po/
Ok, I was wondering if any papercraft exists of the dancers from DDR. (I would prefer either Alice or Charmy) If not that then just the dance arrow would work fine. I want to make some for my girlfriend. If none exists, maybe you could point me to a software where I could rip the models form DDR Extreme 2. Pictured is Alice.

Bump for a Charmy model ^_^

You could just download the models from the DDR character ripping project for Stepmania.

I zipped all the Stepmania characters I have, hopefully it'll help. (Think OP's character is in there, not sure though).

I'm sure if I don't have the character you can find them for download easily by searching for their name and 'Stepmania'. Stepmania.com is helpful too.

I'll see if it works, thanks.
If I can do it, internets, 2 u.

Ok...
What do I open the models with?
Can I convert them into Milkshape3D?
I need to open them and convert them into a file compatible with Pepakura.
HALP.

In Milkshape go to Open>Import>Import Milkshape 3D ASCII. Because of how StepMania animates the characters, you'll have to reposition all the body parts and meld some vertices together.

Alright, cool.
Ok, now here's another question.
What file do I save finished projects in to get them compatible with Pepakura?

I'm someone who doesn't know much of anything about the programs you're using, since I've never had them on my main computer. But I do know from converting the .pdo files from Pepakura into something that would work on a Mac without using the print to pdf function that there's a PICT resource in the .pdo files. So maybe something dealing with an anti-aliased PICT or PICT resource? I'm sure the person who's been helping you previously will be more help than this, but it's an educated guess that will add to the post count, so it can't be all bad.

Metasequoia *.mqo works best for me (but I don't know if Milkshape doesn't export to that format?)
Some people use *.3ds, others *obj... There's a list of the file formats that Pepakura supports at (surprise surprise) the Pepakura site:

/r/ one for Yuni in a pdf or gif or jpeg ?

-.-
Greeeeeat...
I've been working on Charmy for like an hour now, trying to seperate the body parts...
and Pepakura doesn't support Milkshape...

if you compare
http://chumbalum.swissquake.ch/ms3d/index.html

with
http://www.tamasoft.sakura.ne.jp/pepakura-en/productinfo/func5.html

Then you should be able to find a format to export your milkshape work in, that can be opened in Pepakura. Might I suggest Wavefront *.obj for instance? ;)

I have a partially finished Robo200 I started on a year ago. I can probably get it done in a week or so (spring semester starting in a few days.)
