My latest build Aravin
This was actually a pretty easy model to build except the face. i like how it turned out. has anyone else built him yet? if so could you post pictures of it.

Thanks for the comment^_^
I had it printed at OfficeMax on really nice paper which i am addicted to now. it was really nice to use.

Print quality is awesome and it's a nice build
but why are there so much white?
Is it the edge of the paper or do you score it with a blade?
If the 2nd, stop it!
If you use an empty pen to score or don't score at all (like I do) and use tweezers to bend precisely, it will look far better...

and you probably used a flash on your camera to photograph it, didn't you? If so, the white will be emphasized, so when photographing papercraft don't use a flash.

scoring with the back of the blade works too, as long as it doesn't cut
>> Aravin
I score with the back of the blade. my models dont usually turn out like that. its the paper that i used.

yes i did use a flash.

It's a very detailed model, with lots of small parts, so that means there a lot of edges to be shown. But for me, that's okay, it means "this is a papercraft" it's okay for me that they don't look like a resin kit when they're built. ;)

it was a bad scoring he even scored the lines and the ink falled, maybe is laser toner

touch that shit up with prismacolor markers

Why?
It's Link, I can tell with the papercraft lines and they don't bother me.
Though I think if you build it, you should touch up the white edges with a marker, and the same goes for everybody that doesn't like them.
The people that aren't bothered by them however, shouldn't.
Isn't it nice when it's so simple? ;)

That's why when i make those lines it doesn't bother me. i like them and it makes it look like it was paper instead of me just buying a figure of Link.
