Bump for Ludwig Von Drake, as well as something I could go with myself.

There you go: one Ludwig von Drake papercraft.

I give it a difficulty rating of 2 (out of 5): 1 because there are two different types of folds (valley folds and mountain folds) so you really have to pay attention when folding it, and 2 because you need to cut in between the bottom tabs (some people might cut too far and ruin the papercraft).

Does this seem okay to everybody? I would have given it 3, for having to use a sharp and dangerous object like scissors, but if you don't feel confident about using scissors, you could just ask your parents to cut it out for you.
And maybe you can even get them to fold and glue it for you.

but you're not taking papercuts into consideration here

hmm funny... but not exactly what i was looking for ^.^ Primaraly i wanted to know where i could find a good 3d rendering prog. a prefured skin editing prog. and perhaps visuals of examples of vally or mountan folds.
My goal is to educate more people about what is required to create papercraft.

As far as I know, Milkshape and Pepakura designer should get you started.

Funny? What's so funny? When I see a request, I try to fulfill it! And people laugh at me for it?? Grrr....

When it comes to designing papercraft using Pepakura, this is a nice link: http://www.ericksmodels.com/paper/paper.html
It's from the guy that made many of those Homeworld models I'm sure you all know (http://paperstarships.tengun.net/), and got others hooked on doing those as well, by writing a nice tutorial.
It explains everything from ripping the models, to editing them and using Pepakura.
I really advise the guys making the Final Fantasy models to take a look here... ;o)

Another nice link, this time on how to BUILD papercrafts is http://www.cardfaq.org/faq/
All those people that keep asking questions like "what kind of glue should I use?", do some research yourself and you'll find that all of your newbie questions about papercraft have been asked before and better yet: that they've also already been answered... ;o)
Where to start your own reasearch? At http://www.google.com

Or instead, just keep asking it here, and somebody else will use Google for you and post his/her finds here. Whatever. ;o)

My own personal opinion on what kind of paper/glue/tools you should use though: whatever is available to you, and what seems to work. Best advice ever, I should think...
