HELP!This is my first papercraft.I cut, folded with no real directions, and then ended up with all these folds left at the back/tail.should I cheat and cut it and fold it then glue it back on or try to fold somehow while still on the rex?I dont want to fuck this up even though its my first attempt.

is it possible to keep it attached and just carefully fold?

I'll post the only picture I had to go by also.

That's a bit hard for a first papercraft, but nonetheless, you should find a way to carefully take the tabs off of where you glued it. Once you do that, score the fold lines and fold as you are gluing. Meaning don't make the thing an accordian and then start gluing it on, it gets in the way. Score the lines, keep it straight, and fold as you go.

To score the lines means to go over the paper at each place you want to fold with an inkless pen, or a dull knife. If you do that for each "section" you want to fold, you can fold extremely easily with no effort at all.

If you cut off the tab that it glues to (or glues to it) then you can always make a new one by cutting it out of scratch paper.
