Ganon Anonymous
Hello /po/, billybob here. I'm considering doing a model of Ganon from zelda: oot. If someone was interested in helping me out a bit, it'd make this much easier for me. I really don't feel like playing all the way through the game again on an emulator to be able to rip the model, so if someone wants to give me a savestate for Nemu64 (.nss) at the end battle, I would be most appreciative.

I think someone else is already working on a Ganon from WW... but the OOT version is different, right?

I never got to the end of WW. :p

Why would you have to play the game to get the model?

Can't you just decompile and rip it out?

At the end, the Triforce is joined together, Kingy wishes for Hyrule to drown, AWESOME boner inducing boss battle against Ganondorf ends with you stabbing him with the Master Sword.

THROUGH HIS SKULL.

Awsome!!! But which Gannon- "pig" gannon or normal gannon? If you mean normal Gannon, then make him riding his horse so that the model will go nicely with ninjatoes link on horse model.

The OOT version is, well, pic related. Giant fucking pig monster. In the end, anyway. I hope that's the version the OP is talking about.
Fuck, I remember when I first got to him and that badass music kicked in. I can't believe that was 10 years ago.

Yes, I meant the final big monster version (Ganon). The human form is Ganondorf.

I use a geometry exporter in conjunction with Nemu64, so I have to have the character or object on screen in the game to "rip" the model, hence my need for a save state at the end of the first fight (with Ganondorf)

nah, I've tried those, its got to be a .nns (Nemu64) save state, otherwise I'd be good to go. I'm trying to use the built in gameshark to cheat my way there, but as far as i can tell i still need to visit all the areas to even get the temple door open...

hmm yeah, can't seem to find saves for that emulator. Mostly just Project64 or 1964 save files.

Might as well give that one a try.

I've made some progress with the cheats, I just cant seem to get the golden gauntlets to work, so i haven't yet been able to do the last two barriers in the castle... I'll figure something out eventually.

making cheats work is hard. oot was made in three diferent versions (golden cartidge, two internaly different grey cartidges). that means that there are three different sets of cheats- one for each version. you may want to find and try all three versions of the golden gauntlets cheat. i hope this helps. (this is going down on my to-do list the moment you relese it)

mm, those kind of cheats are tricky i've found. like before i couldnt get the door of time to open, even though i had a cheat that gives you all the quest items, medallions and such. it turned out i needed to trigger the first intro cutscene for the temple. i was just warping there. so after "getting" the gold gauntlets legitimately, it still didnt work, which gives me the feeling i need to get the silver ones from the desert temple, THEN get the gold ones... eh, for another day.

on a side note, i've found that the graphics plugin that lets me extract in-game geometry also works on the 1964 emulator. unfortunately, i haven't been able to find any save state files that work for that one either...
