where do you guys get your paper for harder projects from? i used to go to my local copy place and pick up paper that was "stiffer than printer paper but looser than cardstock", but they don't carry that anymore. i have no idea what all the numbers and weights mean, so any links or tips would be great.

i read all of that. what i was asking for some advice on was a) what those numbers all mean, and b) perhaps some good links to online shops that you'd tried and would recommend.

none of the links you posted have any of that information, so why not hold off on the all-caps before you start stroking your anger-chubby ;)

Each of those posts VERY clearly state what the numbers mean. It's not that hard to find paper of the weight you need, and it's very possible to still get good results working with flimsy copy paper if you're careful when you're working.

Try rereading the posts. Try googling the information if you still can't understand them. The question HAS been answered already, no need to result to name calling.

yelling in all-caps and then a bitter lecture are fine, but name-calling is right out?

what's so hard about "i prefer www.store.com"? it's a lot more friendly and far fewer keystrokes then your version.

How about "I prefer whatever store I'm passing; Staples, Target, Wal-Mart... because I bothered reading then googling info on paper weight, figured out what I needed, then just picked up said paper on the cheap. And yet, I find myself printing onto standard copy paper and still getting good results with a lot of models.

Don't put so much thought into paper weight.
