Hook a brother up Robbydude
hey /po/

Its Robby again.

Anyone know where a brother can get a templete?

Unavailable. Chokipeta design there -- it was an insert in a Japanese magazine, so unless you can figure out which issue, then time travel to get it... no go.

This Chokipeta Pikachu doesn't look like it's from a Japanese magazine; UK or US I think. Maybe a UK/US magazine copied the idea of papercraft gifts and got permission to use the same papercrafts that were in the Japanese magazine?

I haven't built it yet myself, but it came with instructions to print this first page at 103%. If somebody builds it, please let us know if this is correct, okay?

This second page should be printed at 100% and then the parts on both pages should be the correct scale/size. Let us know if this is correct, please!

I\'m in San Francisco and went to Little Japan Town today and they have a huge bookstore with a ton of Japaneses magazines. If anyone can tell me the name and show me a picture of the magazine, I\'d LOVE to go buy it and make scans for everyone.

The pikachu Chokipeta papercraft was most likely released in the US/UK in 2004. This papercraft looks like it came in a Nintendo Player's Guide in 2004. From the years that my brother subscribed to it in the 90's, it wasn't uncommon for them to put special things like this in each issue to create hype about merchandising.

I made this papercraft yesterday, but I think I got it from a slightly different version. It's in a PDF format that's small enough to upload here, so I'll do that. Team Rocket's balloon also made it onto the web, so I might post that one later. The pikachu one I'm uploading worked fine without me changing the size on anything.

You'll need to use the "rolling" technique with this papercraft. This is done by rubbing the paper along a sharp edge of a desk or table, using it to round the piece of paper, kind of like one would do with ribbon and scissors.

Also, I didn't use the base with this papercraft, and it works just fine. So if you want to save a little paper, you can skip the base. I know I've forgotten something.

I'll try to find out what magazines these pokemon Chokipeta papercraft were in around 2004. There's not much of a chance that it would still be on the shelves, but it's worth a try. Who knows, we might come across something else that would be worth buying for papercrafts from the Japanese district of San Francisco.

I'm not sure, but I think it's being called "Luke Rio" and that it's being released in Dengeki Nintendo's November edition supplement.

It turns out that the Team Rocket is recent, too. Or it recently got a new makeover. One of the two. Here's the balloon papercraft.

http://www.chokipeta.jp/C00_G1_01.htm This is the page for viewing the Chokipeta pokemon papercraft that have been released so far. The OP's pokemon is either going to be released in this month's magazine, or it is already on the shelves.

The text in the upper left is the name for the magazine these are featured in. "Magazine: Lightning Game Cube Supplement" is what it says according to babelfish.

I'd really like it if someone could find the Charmander papercraft ;o; Please!

>>27980Magazine: Lightning Game Cube Supplement

The japanese name for the "Lightning Game Cube" magazine was Dengeki Cube, but it doesn't exist anymore (or rather the name was changed): any new Pokémon models will most likely be in "Dengeki DS" (for Nintendo DS).

In reference to the above website, I was wondering if anyone had any of the following pokemon: Dark Lugia, Torchic, Meowth, Eevee, Mew, Clefairy--in general, any of them.

Cute little Pichu for y'all.

The only website I know of is the one that the pichu papercraft came from that you're sporting. I'm currently using a template or two from it to help me create the body for a mudkip I've decided to work on, since it's a big enough meme on 4chan that many will benefit from. I don't remember the name of the site offhand, but I could probably find it again easily. It's in Japanese.
