I have a shitload of waste paper. Anonymous
Most of it is rectangular, standard A1.

What do I make out of this so that I don't have to just throw it away? What are some huge modular origami models that use hundreds of pieces of paper?

I am prepared to cut squares/triangles/etc from these.

Holy shit where did all that paper come from?

hrmmmm I smell potential. You could make a huge 3d modular with a shit load of origami triangles. Have any idea of something you would want to make? Like what are you into?

Anything. A motorcycle, a skeleton, I don't know. Is there a triangle module you can lock from all three sides?

Shred paper, mix water and glue.

Use chicken wire for forms.

Paper mache your heart out.

Hmmm a skull would look kinda cool done with a bunch of little triangles. I can't find any intrusions you'd have to experiment and figure out how to do that yourself. It's fairly easy to see how they are put together and what something would look like. If I were you I'd pick out something in specific to build and start doing the math. Thats a fuck-ton of paper and if you have the time you could really make something cool.

If you want to get a feel for it build something relatively easy like the panda bear.

Pic semi-related not the panda bear but something else built with the same units.

How does all that modular stuff work? Same goes for the one with all the cranes, as least I think that's what they are.
