well, these people are more concerned about using crease patterns instead of diagrams, they crease the base of the model all at once instead of having a process...even if there was a diagram It'd be fairly lengthy

Does this mean that the first step where you crease everything has all the creases and theoretically you shouldn't make any more creases when you assemble the model in the other steps? (HUEG RUNON LOL)

Yeah, if you made those other creases whilst folding it Your model might be impossible to crease later on in it's construction...as far as I know...
