what kind of paper does /po/ use to make their papercrafts? the included craft is my first, done with simple computer paper. but theres a thwomp craft that i would really love to make for my freind. but the computer paper seems just so flimsy. is there a more stiffer paper that i can print on?

Paper is MUCH stronger than you think. You'll do just fine with copy paper. If you want to use light cardstock, or glue a second layer of paper to the first if cardstock can't go through your printer, go for it...

alright, well thank you! ill just go for it. i just ask cuz the thwamp craft just looks a bit beefy.

True, it has some size to it, but it's a closed solid shape when done. There's no part that isn't supported on all sides, so regular paper will hold nicely.

I've built the Thwomp, and it's my personal opinion that you might want to go cardstock on it. Reason being is because it requires a lot of small fits and you might end up damaging the end result when you use regular paper.

I use cardstock on everything, but I do end up having trouble with really small folds on a smaller model. Cardstock is tougher to work with just because it's super beefy compared to copy paper. Though copy paper might be easier to work with, my models can tend to get kind of moved around and touched etc a lot so I want the strength.
