I've downloaded version of these models that were low resolution, missing pages, etc, so I ripped my own from the original into PDF. They are sized for A4, but they will print on American letter without resizing, and they have the pages for all the parts. The construction diagrams were ripped by Anonymous.

This model is really hard. It is kicking my ass.

It seems I'm stuck on the same bit as you. I don't know how to attach the main part of the head with the crest thingy (the two main head parts shown in OP's pic).
It's been sitting on my desk unfinished for a month :(
>> oldguy
The little quicktime building demo movies on the original disc help a little bit.

the model really isn't as hard as it seems.
the only hard parts that I've encountered/am encountering are the shoulder things. They're pretty confusing at first, but things start to make sense the more you play around with them.
As for the head pieces, check out the instructions. there's a series of tabs on the underside of the upper jaw portion, and that's where you attach the skull/eye parts. just slip the head in, and fold the tabs into the skull to hold it in place.
pic related, this is the progress on my unit so far.

You are Legion!

Man I dunno, should I try to scale it up in Photoshop or something?

Is it hard to keep the small parts straightened up? To add on that I have some shitty disease or some shit on my fingertips so I have double the difficulty to do it.

WASH THE DAMN GLUE OFF YOUR FINGERS!

Little pieces?!?
Me and other people built it scaling it down 4pages in a sheet!

Can somebody upload the discs to rapidshare, please?

I can't download from megaupload :(
>> tohru-kun !hPvy9MQFoc
>>116912
lol no.

this thing is HEUG.
you shouldn't need to scale it up at all.
The smallest pieces are the knuckles and verious bits on the face. Everything else is gigantic and more than easy enough to handle.
once you get past the head and hands it's smooth sailing, trust me.

use rapget

>> tohru-kun !hPvy9MQFoc

nope. the trick is plenty of glue to hold the leg joints in place, and about 5 pennies in each foot to balance it out. :3
>> Anonymous
>>116979
The REAL trick is to find the right pose for the arms, legs and torso, before you glue it together, then you don't need to cheat using pennies. ;)
Just make the torso(+head), the arms and legs seperate, they have joints (well, cones) so you can make different poses. Find a pose where the balance is alright.
>> tohru-kun !hPvy9MQFoc
>>117053
well, that too of course.

but pennies help the weight balance a bit as well :3

Glueing it to the table will also keep it from falling over. ;)
I never put money in my papercrafts. I would just carefully detach the arms and legs (no problem if you're just careful (be sure NOT too use HUGE amounts of glue; that was probably necessary because you were a little too impatient I think and people often think: if it doesn't hold, I'll just use more glue! but more often than not it's just that the glue hasn't dried yet. Then the first layer of glue finally dries, finally bonding the paper together properly (having a much harder time doing so because of all the extra, soaking glue), and people think the other, still wet, five extra layers they put on did the trick lol...)
But just cutting between the glued parts, or rather, usually you can kinda carefully wedge them apart with a thing blunt piece of metal, reposition them, then glue them back together.

Another hint.
Don't use normal printer paper for so huge papercraft or it will bend if you touch it too much or in the wrong way.
Use at less 160 or 180gr paper.
>> tohru-kun !hPvy9MQFoc
>>117056
I didn't really go overboard with the glue.
just using plenty of it to make sure it holds the heavier parts up.
yea, I know how the cutting thing goes too.
I've had to do that plenty of times before on my models when I mess up lol.

Doesn't work :(

Every time I want to balance the models that don't stand up, I always think to put in money.

Then I feel like I'm a rich bastard by wasting money like that.

Then I feel like a greedy bastard when I feel bad about wasting money like that.

oldguy if you having a real problem i found that it helped to take a break from putting it together for an hour but then try to visualize the pieces in your head and how they should go together. also do some trial and error trying to fit the model together without glue before putting the glue on this is the best way to figure it out.

Are the discs working for anyone? Whenever I try to open the .exe on the disc I get some sort of error.

An noob answer.
Can I put both the images on a single disk?
How?

lololol

as far as i know, no.
however, if you want to save yourself some disks, you can always mount the images on your computer via virtual disk drive by using Daemon Tools. just find a torrent of it or something on mininova or some other site.
>> oldguy
If I recall correctly, function of the .exe file depends upon previously installing the retro version of Quicktime included on the disc, which might cause trouble if you already have Quicktime on your computer.
>> Pixel-Kakashi
So... still nobody willing to upload this to rapidshare?

Which link is for the actual papercraft templates. I don't want to download the wrong one. Thanks in advance.

Anyone?
>> oldguy
All of them are the original papercraft templates. The first two links in the OP have Windows programs that print out the templates. The third link in the OP is the templates themselves, ripped to PDF documents.
