Hey /po/. This will almost sound like a troll topic, but I guarantee it is not.

Instead of LOLWUTPAPAR2USEFOWRPAPARCRAFT

I'm wondering where I can get myself some 12x12" ORIGAMI paper.

I know it's out there, but I can't find it anywhere.

Pic related, its what I want to make.

I want it to be solid for easier folding.

Well, I know that the Japanese Paper Place sells origami paper up to around 12" squared, but they're a wholesaler, so I don't really know what to do for the needs of individual customers when dealing with that site.

I was looking around for origami books on Amazon not too long ago, and I think it was an author by the name of Michael G. LaFosse that had a book that told how certain origami masters made their own paper. I think Robert Lang and Satoshi Kamiya were two of the three listed. I hope that helps a little bit. I'm currently trying to find origami papers that are larger than 12" myself.

Thank you anon. Info is well appreciated.

More info would be nice as well (not from same anon, he needs a break).

You could try gluing tissue paper to aluminum foil? It's a little bit of a cop-out but it holds its form well and can be cut to a larger size than normal.

Couldn't you cut giftwrapping paper to size?
