WANTED: A truly massive papercraft Anonymous
I am bored with little things and want to build something truly massive and complex. Does anyone have a really huge papercraft I could build? Something larger than the EVA-unit 01 papercraft, would be great.

Picture unrelated, unless there is a big ass papercraft of that.

Howl's Moving Castle. I don't have the PDF, but I bet the 4chan rapidshare archives do.

You could buy the Battle Starship Yamato papercraft book and make that huge kick ass well deserved to be in my hands mother of a papercraft...*sigh*...if only...

Found it. This looks good.

Sweet. I'll be on the lookout for it. If I find it, I'll make sure to scan it and make it available too.

Somebody on /po/ posted this:

It is now dead. However, this does mean that one of us possibly has it for posting. I request most humbly – if you are reading this, and this is the papercraft of the Space Battleship Yamato herself, please post this papercraft.

This is a pretty large and detailed model of the pulse rifle from Aliens. Quite daunting if you ask me.

I already built that. Made it for a friend of mine up in Alaska. Though I guess I could do another now that you mention it, applying the skills I have built up since to make it better and more rigid.

And no, I don't have any pictures. I do not own a camera.

You already built it? Dang! Well have you tried those Lineage Elf and Human models. They're like two feet tall.

These are the Innerbrain models (a great papercraft company that made many massive

papercrafts (all well over 30-40-50 pages). They don't exist anymore (it's very

difficult to make a living out of papercraft, now that almost everybody has

internet...), but you can still find (copies of) the cd-ROM's; they are great, they even

offer small video clips for instructions (along with schematic drawings, of course)!!

Here's a 4 minute demo of the assembly of the hair for their Sailormoon papercraft (I

don't have it before you ask ;o): http://www.extra-

stage.com/projects/papercraft/sailormoon/demo.wmv

So, you can try looking for a place to buy (a copy of) the cd, which is absolutely

great, or you can make do with just the parts and some instructions, you can downloads

these from various places, one of them is: http://tendou.wordpress.com/2006/10/05/neon-

genesis-evangelion-paper-models-for-units-00-and-01/

There was an Eva fansite in the sticky with direct downloads for the files, but the

sticky got deleted (way to go...) and I don't remember it...Google is your friend, if I

can find a place to download the models, you can find it. I like the 00-version from the

site I gave, because the instruction manual is basically screenshots from the cd-ROM! On

unit 00, there are 138 pages!!!! The videos are not included, unfortunatly...
On Unit 01, the instructions are ripped, and re-sized so they all fit on 10 pages...
