With some amazing models getting lost over the years due to dead links, sometimes it's such a shame that I go and try to hunt them down again. And sometimes I succeed, like in this case of Piotr Koper's Aliens Caterpillar P-5000 powerloader model. You might have found it somewhere else already, because you know... the internet and stuff. But Piotr sent me some pictures of his own build and he made some instructions that I put in a text file along with the PDF for the parts in the ZIP-file that you can get from my own personal webspace now, and I also included a link to a build thread on Le Forum en Papier with many great pictures that will help you build this detailed model:http://ninjatoes.blogspot.com/2008/11/piotr-kopers-aliens-caterpillar-p-5000.html
:Othats just spectacular
damn, that looks complicated as balls.
Damn that is awesome!!!
OOOOOOOOH YEAAAAAAAAAAHNow we need an an alien queen
Is it poseable or would I have to work at it a bit?
Damn that's detailed.
>>196837Definitely need to work more than a bit
wow OP where did you get that?..that's really awesome i thought that aliens papercraft was the only website focused in Aliens models.Btw the 3d model used for that is the one made by D-proctor of his now-dead website movie mesh site right?
>>197048It says on the blog where he got it, it doesn't say anything about the 3D model, but judging from the templates it doesn't really look like a Pepakura papercraft to me, more like a work done in CAD using math.
>>197090Like all real cardmodels.
