You didn't even KNOW they were straps until /po/eple told you... ;) That's what I meant, I should have phrased it differently: If it doesn't give any problems, and if it looks nice, then it's perfect! If it looks nice, but people don't know what the hell they're supposed to be (so easily solved by providing a/some finished picture for your model, btw; more designers should (test)build their own models and take pictures ;) then it's only half perfect. ;) It's nice to have a little extra detail to break up a big(ger) surface, but you can achieve that same goal by putting the detail on the texture instead of an extra 3D part. But on this one, the extra parts just to create some extra detail aren't very hard (once you know what it is supposed to be).
