ok guys, i'll be simple:i have this: http://www.deep-shadows.com/hax/3DRipperDX.htmand DEVIL MAY CRY 3 SPECIAL EDITION, that works with DirectX9.ripping some part of the game, i got the textures, and a 5 MB OBJ file, of the 4 Mission, when y'r in the tower.it seems that 'DANTE' is in the ground, but at the Pepakura Designer, the zoom don't go more...so: how do i extract EXACTLY Dante, Virgil and another characters?
put the scene in a 3D modeling program and remove the crap you don't want

>>83770Yeah, that's what I did with one of my models. I was making a crown from *a game* but I couldn't get it seperately. I had to get the 3D model of the character and then just delete all of the character's faces. Maybe I might release that soon...

i have recently started doing game rips. the best advice i can say is that your model has to be a complete hollow shell for it to work nicely. So all the surfaces have to be trimmed to meet each other w/ no extras overlapping. kinda hard to explain but if you had two spheres intersecting each other, they should be trimmed so that from viewing the inside of the model you can see from end to end. like a peanut shell on the inside. most of the clean up work is on the inside of the model it make look good from the outside but not work correctly in pepakura.
ok, here is the extracted, plus the textures and some other things that i don't know.there are some crap, but i think that is no problem with it...just look deeply inside the 3d files and you will find Dante and Vergil.
