>>124325 well, there's two ways of going about making papercraft: 1. do it by hand, do the math, make the parts, testbuild and tweak.
2. make/find a 3d model (low poly count required) texturize, and import to pepakura designer. Then tweak the open edges and tabs to make it easily buildable.
I've done it both ways, it's about the same speed, they just require different though processes. (I'm associative non-dominant Left/Right brained) if you're more left-brained (logic and math) I suggest doing it by hand. if you're right brained (artsy) or have experience with 3d modelling, I suggest that method.
