This BonaParte papercraft was a bonus you'd get when you bought a special edition Tank S.W.A.T. DVD. So no download on the interwebs. You'd think someone would have scanned the parts, but /po/ doesn't know who. ;)
>> ANONyMOUSe
can the richest 4chaner buy this and share it with everybody?
>> Doc Robot
How much does that DVD box actually cost? Admittedly, I really want the PC out of it, but the show itself looks interesting. I just might be the guy to bring this to /po/ for everyone else.
>> Doc Robot
Ahh, ok, just found it on Amazon JP for Y6600 total, with shipping (about $55.56US). I don't think I've ever paid for a papercraft, let alone this much. Heh!

That's because you're not solely paying for the papercraft, but you're paying for:
Main DVD:

Tank S.W.A.T. 01 32mins main feature
NTSC Region 2 / 2.0ch Audio / 16:9 ratio
Bonus DVD:
47 mins Romanov Higa "Wired Bob" Short (12mins) / NG Scenes / Continuity / The World of Personal CG Animation (25mins feature)
Extras:
- 16 Pages Tank SWAT Booklet
- Bonaparte Papercraft by Masamune Shirow

But don't forget: this is a special edition japanese release, so there's no English dubs (thank god, because they should never dub anime or any other films) but there are no English subtitles either (that they should do, and they would, if it wasn't a japanese release).
So unless you speak japanese, you would be paying only for the papercraft ;)
>> Doc Robot
Perhaps you missed a key point in an earlier post of mine. I said that the show looked like it might be interesting as well. Had never heard of it, so I thought I would give it a whirl, ya know? Added Bonus: cool tank papercraft, to share with /po/ when I figure out how to properly scan it. Be ready to walk me through it, folks. :-]

Also, I would not have ordered if I was incapable of understanding the language, and didn't have the equipment necessary to play Region 2 DVDs.

I'm still a little curious as to something you said, though. Why for should they never dub anime? I know the subtitles work and all, but why would you care either way?

>>69713
They shouldn't dub anime because apparantly they always insist in using crappy voice actors for the dubbing. It's sad, but true. And as for the subbing: it's also sad that fansubbing is often better than professional subbing, but also true. ;) But I can live with professional subbing, just not the baaaad dubbing... Fortunately you usually have a choice between original voices+English subtitles, and English dubbing. The choice is easily made...

And I didn't miss your key-point, in fact it was the reason why I posted my "warning" (since I didn't know you speak japanese):
if you were going to get it for the show as well, I wanted to "warn" you that it wasn't in English, so that you wouldn't throw your money away for just the papercraft.
Like you said: "I never paid (that much) for a papercraft!" so maybe YOU forgot your key point? ;)

2. Lay pages on scanner bed
3. close scanner
4. press scan button
5. ?????
6. PROFIT

>>69725
1. Take to Kinko's.
2. Have them do it.
3. ???
4. Profit!
>> Doc Robot
I appreciate it, but I kinda figured it was in Japanese due to the fact that the packaging is in Japanese, the official website was in Japanese, the website I had to order it from was in Japanese, I paid in yen (Japanese), the DVD was listed as Region 2 (Japanese), etc.

I've gotta tell ya, though, until you said something I had no idea this box set was in Japanese, so good lookin' out!

I'm just messin' with ya...

;-]

And, no, I didn't forget my original point. If the show turns out to suck, which if what I've just read on those interwebs is likely to be true, I won't be too broken up over it. We're still getting a cool papercraft that was evidentally unavailable to us previously.

I said that I'd never actually paid for a papercraft, actually. If the show blows, this will be a first. The bummer is that it'll be a $50+ first, but what are ya gonna do? :-]

Incidentally, did you just link that information or do you actually own this box set?
>> Doc Robot
Right, got it. Kinko's, scanner, some inexplicable jazz in between, and then profit. I'll see what I can do. :-]

If you never came in contact with another human being, you'd be surprised how many people will not pick that up, buy it and then go like "WTF?? This is Japanese??" If you HAVE been in contact with other humans, you'll not be that surprised, as you will have experienced how stupid they can be. ;)

And I don't own this boxset myself, because I don't speak japanese well enough to be able to do without subtitles. ;)
Otherwise I'd have uploaded the papercraft long ago (you could have just asked me if I had the papercraft instead of asking me if I had the boxset, ya know? ;)

That's from a special edition of Metal Slug 3D, the pdf's you uploaded are not one page, it's four pages put together in one images (4 backsides, four frontsides).
I never tried to build it with this small version, attempts to enlarge it 4 times have failed (just looks baaaad...)
/po/ needs the originals pls
>> Anonymous
i would rather see metal slug than ops /r/ does /po/ agree??

i don't

No I wouldn't rather see Metal Slug than the Bonaparte tank.
Nor would I rather see the Bonaparte tank than Metal Slug.

/po/ wants them both just as bad.
