Is 80 gram paper heavy enough for papercraft?

Or 2.821 916 956 ounce if you live in the US&A

GAH. Not this again.

ANY paper is good enough for papercraft, as long as it goes through your printer. Standard copy paer works wonders on simple models, cardstock's fine for making them more permanent.

Be prepared to adjust your folds and spend a lot more time working with thicker papers to avoid bad-looking seams, and if your papercrafts have exposed edges, such as on this Haruhi head, you're going to have white showing, and the thicker your paper, the more white you'll see.

I thought we told you you couldn't use that picture in paper threads!

if you arr going to make something to wear you should use card stock.

Nobody told me. The picture does prove the point though, doesn't it?

Personally, I like working with cardstock... because I have a ton of markers and colored pencils to touch up the edges with. If I didn't have them, I'd use standard paper to avoid the white edges.
