Troll hunter(Has stopped 1000+ troll attempts)
Sup /po/, I found the papercraft for a Metal gear in some random website. This is the first time I attmept to do something like this, so, any recommendations? what materials do you use? some tips?

Also, at the risk of this being a common repost, here's the papercraft for it.

by something like this you mean "papercraft" or "complex papercraft"?

Either way, just do it, right now I'm building Eva 01, even though it's like my third papercraft and I totally suck at it.

If you need basic tips...

I'd suggest downloading a one page model first as a warmup, as the craft you're looking at is one of the toughies.

And that's all.

Thanks for the link, anon. Yeah, I was also planning on trying one of the easiest ones in /po/ first. The one I'm trying to make doesn't look all that complicated, maybe tedious, but at least the way every piece should be folded is obvious.

"...but at least the way every piece should be folded is obvious."

Good, if you can see it properly in your mind before you start, that's going to help a ton. Plus, you have the directions page, so you're good there as well.

Can't wait to see the results, and welcome to /po/.

fine, i'll say it again. shagohod is actually messed up, if you just follow the number scheme it's got. One piece is reversed (mostly obvious via color scheme and inability to connect to a vital piece) and there are a few instances of multiple numbers. but dont let it stop you. connect each number to its counterpart and you will finish it fine. if you are a stickler for detail, you will do it in black and white and then correct the pdf file, the finish it in color.

it's the sandy-coloured pieces not used in the Rex.
