I really think we need a Halloween thread here... ITT: pumpkin stencils, masks, what have you. I bet some people have got some really good pumpkin stencils out there.

Im gonna post the template first, followed by the ears with texture. This is pretty much the only papercraft I've ever created, I've fixed a few things over time, but I know many anons can improve this a lot, if anyone does please post it for the rest of us ok? :3

Thanks for the tip and file! I have a doubt though, when I open it in Pepakura, in the 3D preview it seems that the color of most big parts is on the inside instead of outside. Is this ok?
>> Anonymous
>>192676
Nice! Thanks very much! I'll probably be making these later.

How'd you end up sticking them on your own ears? Do they just fit inside?
>> Rinku 5155 2575 6451 !!lSClgUWfixm
>>192694
>Do they just fit inside?

Basically. I tried weird ideas like gluing a small pad of paper towel around the opening (inside) but that turned out to be worse and it looked real fake. By the shape I gave these ones they can stay put mostly.

If other anons have ideas I'd love to hear em.

Just saying I made these a few days ago and they are awesome! Thanks.

They're a bit darker than my skin tone, but if I feel like it, that's an easy fix in PS.
>> Rinku !!lSClgUWfixm
>>193483
Thanks bro :3

You're absolutely right, they're a tad dark, I made them after my own color, but that can be fixed with Photoshop as you pointed out, or a free simple image editing software called IrFanView.
>> Anonymous

Don't know if anyone wants these, but I'll upload them anyway. I made a few of these, I'm going to use them as silhouettes to hang from my roof, though I guess they could be used as stencils?

Sorry they're not that good I just made them in ps quickly, planning to fix them up as I cut them out.

ok i don't have any stencils but let me contribute with a very useful tip for those who want to print these without wasting ink:

open your stencil on photoshop
select the magic wand
click on the all the black parts while holding shift
rigth click and select feather an write 3 select OK
and then press erase button

now you can print your stencil

How long do they keep for?

depends on how much you carve it. a basic face, 2 1/2 weeks. something more complex. 2 weeks. something like the leonidas face, one week.

Meaning every stencil available for five bucks is what's in the Mediafire download link, which was posted directly below that. So yes, you need $5 bucks if you want to get them directly from the ZombiePumpkins website, but that would've made posting any link a moot point. What the hell you think was in the Mediafire download? Kiddie porn?

Apparently a few people managed to figure it out since it's been downloaded 40 times, so it couldn't have been /that/ vague.
>> Anonymous
>>196113
and that makes it necessary to tell us that it costs $5 for a membership to some fucking site? THINK PEOPLE

It wasn't "necessary" to post anything other than the download link. In fact, it wasn't really necessary to post anything at all. I'm not going to be blamed for the fact that you can't be bothered to read the whole damn thing and use some cognitive faculties to figure it out for yourself. Yes, mentioning the membership was redundant, but that doesn't make up for being a drooling retard and missing the entire last half of the post. THINK PEOPLE.
>> Anonymous
>>196117

>> Anonymous
>>196125
Fluffy is a shape? Maybe you mean it appears to have a fluffy texture from a distance.

>>196124
Well all I can tell you is lurk moar. It's not as common as Rapidshare but on /po/ Mediafire a good substitute. Sometimes people can't get to Rapidshare (from work or school perhaps) or they have other things to download. Mediafire has fewer restrictions.
If no one uses it how did people figure out what to do with the link in the first place?

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy(ed) the stencils and I hope they stick around (along with the stuff from the other stencil threads) so that next Halloween we won't all be scrambling for pumpkin stuff as badly. I'll probably renew membership with ZP next year if I'm still standing to grab any new stencils they come out with. Happy Halloween!
