/po/, when I load my model into Pepakura there are red lines everywhere, meaning that the model appears to be connected at those points, but it's really not.

I've heard you can fix this in 3D modeling programs. How would I do that? Thanks for any help, and a solution to this problem WILL lead to new models! I won't tell you what, though. ;)

pic slightly related.

Seeing as how I won't be at the computer for a while, I'll just bump this ahead of time.

You can try clicking 3DModelWindow -> Join Adjeacent Isolated Edges in Pepakura Designer. Sometimes it will understand you messed up and will try to fix things, but there are limits of course.

You're right: it should be fixed in the 3D model: I don't know how you model, most noobs "pick points" to create lines and by creating three lines, they have a triangle. Now what happens is, they try to select an existing point, and the 3D model has a tolerance so the program says you selected that point, but you're actually clicking right next to it. But because of the tolerance, you'll still get a line and a triangle... It's different for each software how to select the EXACT points. Look in forums or just in the Help files of your software.

I use metaseqouia, and I don't build models from the ground up, I just edit them there.

Joint Adjascent Isolated Edges I knew about, and it does nothing.

The thing is, I want to attach the existing faces to each other, not create a new one between them. But I guess I can just read for it when I have that much time.
