Nice. I tried one but it's too small to take a picture. All it shows is a 4 pointed blur.

I believe you. After all, I've been doing ones with 3cm squares for half a year now in multiple colors. I'm going for 1,000 cranes, so I decided on a small scale that would still look nice but not be too difficult on my hands to fold.

Plus, I've always liked the fact that I can get the centers of the smaller cranes I make to open up just by pulling on the wings a little.

One thousand gold-foil 1.5cm cranes. No tools; fingernails.

A hundred to a string.

My size record is 5mm- I'll have to make another one of those and snap some shots for /po/.
>> Naki
I should clarify. My measurements are for wingspan- a 1.5cm crane means about a 1cm square piece of paper.

A 5mm crane means, according to my calculator, a 3.5mm piece of paper- which really does sound too small. Perhaps it was a 5mm square piece of paper after all.

For those 1,000 cranes, I think you're supposed to make 1 more... for good luck

Should have wished for something better than 1000 paper cranes.

My mini crane on a dime. Blurry as hell but I didn't take it.

That is no dime.
At least, not in America.

Dimes can exist outside of the US, they just take attrition.
