You sure you're not mixing up your gsm with your lbs..? 190 gsm (well, 200 gsm for me since that's what they sell here, their supply jumps from 160 to 200 gsm) works perfectly. It's only 2.5 times as thick as regular paper. I've cut mm thick posterboard with ease with a normal breakaway blade. When I had to cut 3 mm posterboard, it became quite difficult so I just did it in two goes. And yes, 3 mm thick posterboard would be difficult to fold (top layer stretches and bottom layer creases) 200 gsm cardstock folds just fine. Only thing is, it's more expensive than 160 gsm and 120 gsm and 80 gsm. ;)
