Hello /po/

Is there a free program that converts .ms3d files into a format that pepakura likes?

Any help would be appreciated. The free version of ms3d doesn't allow saving or exporting.

I don't see .ms3d as a valid import file format. Is there a plug in or something I am missing?

Thanks, I ended up just getting the full version of milkshape, but I have a new problem now so I will use the same thread.

When I bring the model (not one I made btw) into blender as an .obj file, everything looks shiny. I want to simplify the model so I select the two triangles and hit alt-j to make them into a quad... except it doesn't work.

I googled for an answer but the only forum threads I could find either said use the alt-j thing or delete the two faces and make a new face from the vertices. I tried that too, but then that face didn't have the material on it, and it wasn't letting me add the material.

To sum it up, blender hates me or something. Any advice on simplifying models?

Here is what I am working on. The model doesn't need so many faces/detail for pepakura, so I want to make most of these triangles into quads
