Got this set of knives for 7€ at Lidl (Germany) today. Guess it will be worth the money.

Just in case any other Germans are here and still need good knives. Carbon stell blades.

Destroyed two of those knives in a week. The thread in the handle can't cope with pressure. Been using a Swann-Morton surgical blade since, it's awesome.

Although you don't need 7 knives (the whole idea is that you can change the blades, not the knife handle lol) there are a lot of blades included too, and more importantly, a sharpening stone: with papercraft, on the #11 blade that most people use for instance, you only use 1-2 mm of the tip and it's amazing how fast cutting just paper dulls the blade... Most people throw the blade away after the first 1-2 mm gets "used up" but for you with this €7,- set with lots of blades and a sharpening stone, it's quite possible you will never have to buy a new set of blades again. ;)

I'll think about that...

...? How much pressure are you using to cut through the paper...? I destroyed none in the last 15 years or so.

This is what I use to cut my papers.

scissors are great for circles/curves, I found them terrible to cut lots of glue flaps and/or small parts...

This is true. I avoid anything with a lot of triangle flaps.
