just bought some card stock Anonymous
well i bought some card stock, and i have no problem cutting it out and all....but i have trouble folding it nicely...cuz when i do, its starts to wrinkle...

any tips?

I usuall use the inside edge of a pair of scissors. I use my thumb to bend the papaer over

place a ruler or something like this by the edge and "cut" it with something blunt to make it crease more easily.

another way to score is:
buy a bottle of rum,
use the tip of the xacto knife or anything point-sharp and stab(gently across the folding line) that will ease the things

You can use an exacto knife and actually cut the first layer of cardstock (not all the way through of course), but you can also just make a score line in the paper without actually cutting it. In the Yamaha tutorial they use a mechanical pencil without the actual pencil lead in it. A dead pen (that doesn't write anymore, make absolutely sure of that!!) also works well, or anything else that will "dent" the paper but won't actually cut it (meaning blunt tips).

Not sure why you're having a problem with this thing... I gave it to my 12 year old sister, and she made it with no instructions and no problem... She's also never done papercraft before...
