Nice! But I see from your sketch you're planning on doing the legs just from a strip or paper (or two I think, glued back-to-back). But that may be a little flimsy (looks very prone to falling sideways by folding on the two "hinges" on the top and bottom of his legs this way). Maybe it's better to make the legs from square tubes. But you can test that first of course, to see which works best.
Keep up the good work!

Good eyes. Yes, I was planning on making them from two strips glued back to back. My thoughts were that, if I make the model small enough and use some good cardstock it should be fine. The reason I didn't want to make tubes or boxes was to make the model easier to build. But I'll test it out. If it doesn't stand then I can always modify it.

Well, it's a big, sharp picture. ;o)
Just strips would indeed be so easy to make, and I can see you were going for that (good choice, of course ;o) and you're probably right: it all depends on how big the papercraft will be in the end: the longer the legs, the easier it will fall. I was judging by the head you already made and the scale on your cutting mat. ;o) But it also depends on what kind of paper other people will use (200 gsm or plain printer paper?) and how good they are at papercrafting (it's an easy model, but people mess up the simplest things ;o).
But go test it out, it's the only way you can be sure. ;o)
Good luck, many people will like yet another simple /po/ papercraft!
