Anyone have any Grim Fandango papercraft / templates? I saw a Manny Calavera one a while ago and it looked like it'd be fun to make.

^^ That's pretty awesome.. but look what i found /po/.

Everytime a Grim Fandango thread opens i keep saying i started a model and it's halfway finished, but haven't got the time to finish it, yet it never seems to interest anyone.. i'll try it one more time for the heck of it, here's a rar with all the files:

Maybe because it's been halfway finished for how long now? If you were truly going to make it, it would be done by now. Design for yourself and /po/ just reaps the benefits, not design for /po/ and hope you reap the benefits. I'd build it if it was finished, looks like a promising start.

This. Finish it, and then DO WANT. DO NOT WANT until then.

My 3d skills sucks that's why, i guess i will finish it someday, i'm just not interested right now and doubt i will be for a while, at the moment it takes me a huge amount of time to clean what should be a fairly easy model to someone with moderate skills.

I've been waiting so so patiently for this.

As an extra incentive for you, Tim Schafer (the guy who was responsible for Grim Fandagno) release development notes in his website a few days ago on
www.doublefine.com. I can't seem to upload it here for some reason.

It's a good read. Hope it inspires you to keep working on the papercraft.

Yep! It's from the official puzzle doc used in the game's development. Tim Schafer put it up for free on the Double Fine website to celebrate the game's tenth anniversary.
