I'm about to start on these ship models i have. i just downloaded the USS Missouri, and its supposed to build into a 4.5 foot ship. Cant wait. i was wondering if any of you knew whether fedex kinkos does printing on cardstock? most of the ship files i have were in A4 format and i dont want to chop it up or shrink it to fit letter size. any other ideas would be nice, thanks
call around and see if there's a print shop in town, often they will custom cut paper for you to American legal size. That's what I had to do to get the paper I needed. Legal is longer than what you need, but it's the only US standard people seem to understand.
thanks, im hoping i can possibly get them to make it bigger while they are at it. seems like it would make a cool display piece. btw, does anyone know if there are any Red October papercraft models out there?
OP here, not trying to bump or anything, i just thought i should ask if anyone wants to try one of these ship models or has already tried one, i would like your opinion on them
Some build threads here;http://forum.zealot.com/f392/Also the original page size is 420x300 mm soin a4 its shrunken alreadyPs it has 11800 parts (see u in a year or 2!)and they are excellent but not for the beginner

>>145777OP here, not new at all to papercraft, infact im bored of all the simple stuff, i want a challenge so bad.
Fedex kinko's and similar places are notorious for refusing to print out things if, in their opinion, the copyright is iffy. But a giant model ship may confuse them. Good luck.
>>146225well they cant say i didn't scan them myself, afterall, these kits say nothing about it beeing illegal to blow them up for personal projects
