Has anyone here ever been able to complete this papercraft?
>> Anonymous
I got the model kit... but it still looks so bad ass that I'll love to try it. Anyone have more info on this beast?
>> tohru-kun !hPvy9MQFoc
I've spent a week on it so far and I've gotten the Head, Upper Torso and most of the lower torso done.
It's not too bad if you have the time to devote to it. It's not difficult to cut and fold the the parts. It's just got an ass-ton of them...which is what I think throws /po/eple off with this one.
it's fun though :3

also, does anyone have the seperate stand template?
I noticed that there was a seperate template on rapidsearch recently, and thought it might be a fixed version that is easier to build than the included template with the gundam.
It's not on RS anymore, so would anyone be so kind as to share it if they have it please?

I should have lurked more before starting the SD S-Gundam

I've finished this model. I had some trouble building the stand. The one on the picture seems to be made out of wood.

Got any pics of your semi/fully completed models? Would appreciate high-res ones, this papercraft is the hardest I've ever had to work on. D:

Hey /po/ I´ve downloaded this file twice, yet I keep getting a corrupted file: "?_????????(???)??? 2 ?". Does this happen to any of you too?
>> Rhugha
>>112208
Doesn't happen to me when I try to unrar it.
Though, it's an empty file. 0 byte.

I reuploaded the model without this particular file, hope it'll work for you now.

I think it's not a corrupt file
just a file used to tell us to print the leg pattern twice.
And yes, we have to improvise the stand template because the booster pack become too heavy for it.
>> Anonymous
so, anyone got pics of it completed?

OK, this anon is getting a

"There was an error opening this document. The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect."

Can anyone help me?
>> Anonymous
>>112429
I'm getting that too, actually. Any ideas on what the problem might be?
>> Rhugha
I redownloaded the file to make sure I didn't make a mistake on packing, but apparently that wasn't the probelem.

The deal:

>Detail

>You named the file with a Non-Latin 1 characters in the file name (for example, Greek, Turkish, Latin-2, Asian or Cyrillic characters) and you are opening the file on an English version of Acrobat or Adobe Reader on an English version of the OS.

>Solutions

>Do one of the following solutions:

>Solution 1: Install the Acrobat 7.0.8 update or >the Adobe Reader 7.0.8 update.

>In Acrobat or Adobe Reader, choose Help > Check For Updates Now to install the update.

>Alternately, you can download the update from the Adobe website:

>-- For Adobe Reader or Acrobat 7.x: Download the 7.0.8 update from the Adobe website at www.adobe.com/downloads/ .

>-- For Adobe Reader 6.x or earlier: Download the full installation of Adobe Reader 7.0.8 from the Adobe website at >www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html .

>Solution 2: Rename the file.

>Rename the file to use only characters in the ISO Latin-1 character set.

>Background information.

>When Acrobat 7.0.3 or earlier or Adobe Designer 7 attempt to open a PDF file with Non-Latin 1 characters in the file name (Greek, or Turkish, or Latin-2, or Cyrillic characters), the application is unable to resolve the file name properly.

>You can still open PDF files with Latin-1 extended characters in the file name or using Designer 7 to open XDP files with Non-Latin 1 characters in the file name.

(Taken from the Adobe site (FIRST site to show up in google))

TL;DR
Just rename the files to something with latin characters.Even better if it's meaningfull descriptions anyway.

Yeah you not only have to rename the file itself but also the destination e.g. the folder. Basically rename anything that has squares in the filename with letters.
