I'm just starting papercraft, and was wondering if there is a certain type of paper I should use? and if anyone has a Gurren(lagann) templet I'd probably pass out.
in b4 /r/ is that way <-

you must be REALLY new cause requests are allowed in /po/ so relax.

REALLY REALLY fucking new because Gurren Lagann is requested at once to several times a week these last few months.

OP here, yeah I haven't really ever given /po/ a chance in the past few months I've been on 4chan, but I'd really like to know what type of paper i need, I'm just guessing that printer paper doen't cut it.

Most normal printer paper is so thin that the glue you put on it will just sink in and the paper will become soggy. I use cardstock myself.

I'm new to papercraft myself, amd before I go and buy, I might as well take the opportunity to ask. Do most projects use a specific size paper, or do I need to buy several different ones to fit the occasion?

o hai /po/ I should become an tripfag because i'm in ur GL thread posting:
We should assign a part of Gurren Lagann to different people. Then pool the completed templates and everyone build the full model. Many lulz.

I always just use printer size paper, if i want the model to be bigger, i will make the parts bigger and use more paper.
