Ah, damn.
Did you buy the shrimp sushi one as well?
I was gonna scan those.
Well, did you see the booth right near where you got this that was selling some assembled papercraft?
>> Otakon artist alley attendee

I'll post the shrimp tomorrow, then.
Well, the point was making money.
They were sold within a few hours for a good price.

I made around fifty bucks this year.
Gonna build more for next year.
I didn't bring them to sell, but people kept wanting them.

thats better than how I did last time!

next year otakon(? or a different one) I'm going to have a panel/workshop for papercraft. maybe then more people will actually be interested and buy some.

Fuck, that'd be really cool.
It'd be interesting to see some other /po/eple.
You may have seen me, on the first day, I was Kuro, from Tekkonkinkreet, and the second day I wore a surgeons mask with fangs cut into it, a green hat with goggles, and a suit jacket over a green corduroy dress.
The other ones there were Shiro from Tekkonkinkreet and Yotsuba the first day, and Hinata and some random loli the second day.

that's fucking far. and no offense but I don't think I could be around cosplayers all day just for a few papercrafts. Maybe that's why some people cosplay. So nobody will see who they are.

That's why fursuits come in full and partial fursuits. The full fursuit attracts a lot of people who are otherwise very antisocial.

That's what happened to me at Naka-Kon two years ago. I had built two papercrafts and was learning how to fold chocobos from memory, and I just gave them to a friend to have more pretties on his artist's booth as he sold his work. He sold out of most of his drawings, and I got rid of nearly everything I gave to him. That was a good year. One of the ideas some of the artists got at that con was to make the chokipeta link emo, because he had the hairstyle. I still have to recolor one to meet those expectations.
