Just some questions Anonymous
What are the consequences if I use regular printing paper instead of slightly thicker card paper for my models?

Also how do you guys print out your models that don't come in PDF form? (ie program you open the picture in, the setting you use to print).

Example - When I open from Windows Picture and Fax Viewer I print on A4 sized paper. I choose to do full page fax print. For some reason full paged photo print gets cropped.

So if you would please, show me the best ways to properly print out the model sheets.

Thanks

So what options do you use? Where do you open the picture?

example of a problem - I tried printing from paint, it wouldn't fit on an A4 sheet

When you print from MsPaint, you have to make sure you go to file, print settings/options and adjust the image, because it's always going to have huge margins and not be centered, so be sure to fix that first, then click on print preview to make sure it comes out right. if its just one page, you can always set it to "fit to __ page(s)"

i always either print from my PDF viewer, or i save an image to a file, and right click > print. i use "full page fax print" cos it doesnt crop at all for me.

i print using the "Text and Image" setting my printer has.

I'm going to assume the OP is using Windows, if so there's a pretty good chance you have Microsoft Photo Editor. It has one handy feature that keeps it from being purged from my system entirely--the print options. Margins and "Fit to Page" are all listed right there when you hit "Print" so even the hopelessly ADHD can remember to adjust the settings. That should work for the PNG and JPG (artifacts >.< ) files at least.
