Sane Person
First of all, some general info.

Sane (that would be me) finally got his own laptop. That's great and horrorshow and all, but let's point out the ramifications:
1. I have the .pdo at hand's reach, so I can instantly fix any errors I notice when doing the testbuild.
2. At Friday I'll be going somewhere far, far away, for two weeks. That basically means that my family will be having the regular 'fun' (swimming, sunbathing, etc.), while I will be working on the Chocobo (and possibly something else). If I will have Internet access there, you can expect the template within the next three weeks (without the testbuild done, of course).
3. Camera is placed horribly, so I had to hold my model when taking a photo (I'll procure some kind of stand next time).

Now for the Tonberry; It is half as big as expected, because I ran out of ink and had to use a printhouse to have the template printed, which isn't the cheapest thing, considering the template would be 13 pages big (6 is a totally different story). The testbuild is done using a glossy paper; terrible.

Also, to Urashiman: Are you designing the Cloud or should I take it?

So I forgot the most important thing, just my thing to do;

I am confused. You made the template so it was 13 pages and then made it smaller so you could print it at a print shop for less money. So why is the template we get 6 pages? I have plenty of ink.

Would it be possible to get the full sized template, please?

Holy shit. The preview for stand.JPG has Cloud... but the full image has the Tonberry. WTFs!

Bigger template is included in the new rapidshit link. Also, it is not 'full' template, because it was abandoned in the early stage of development.

Here's the new, updated template:

(no .pdf, though, because converting the file was killing my computer)

I dunno... Do you intent to create a SD version of cloud or a thing like the battle model?
I wanted to create a Cloud that looks like in the PS3 FF7 Tech Demo (the realistic way instead of the manga style)

you mean like in Advent Children?

The battle model of cloud would be damn awesome.

Well, it would be something like this. Not SD, leaning towards realistic, a bit manga-ish too.

Why not use the one that was used in the final sephiroth battle. it is more detailed and looks cooler.

You guys pwn. So is the Tonberry completed yet with this: http://rapidshare.com/files/43321793/FFVII_Tonberry_by_Sane_Person.rar.html ?

Who cares, if you want to make it, make it.
So there might be two in the future. Is that a bad thing. Me thinks not. We can choose the best. Or build both. Or none. You get the picture. ;)

I think you just answered your own question. More detailed most of the times means the resulting papercraft will be much too difficult if you try to save all that detail and won't make a very good papercraft.

Well, then develop this one, I will develop a cloud too.

Acknowledged.

It doesn't matter what version you make. both of them will be good and i look forward to making both of them.
