Dear /po/,Hello, I'm a random lurker on these boards as well as /b/ and /w/.. but I need your help. :(I found this image and thought it was absolutely adorable - and it's a papercraft!Alas, I have no idea what it's called. What is the name for these little paper characters? Also, if anyone has more, post please! I'll post ones I make. :)Thanks in advance.
That is a paperchild.
Sorry, that's not a papercraft. We've been through this before.Google "paperchild". 99 percent of their work was just shown as photos, and no cut-out templates were ever available. Also, most of it is NSFW, and can't be posted here.

i thought there was an /rs/ pack of these damn things?
got it done ... me gf is in the background terrorizing my paper child :)
>>116393Aw, if there is, could someone please post it? :)
unlike papercraft, which takes a long time to cut out, fold and paste, these only take a couple seconds, so the real art of it is actually drawing it yourself.
i think it really depends on how stringent with your cuts you are.. it makes damn good practice for papercraft though... I have a nasty habit of cutting directly on the line.. i finally broke that and started cutting outside... but with paperchildren you have to cut inside... and it is just different enough to warrent practice
I have quickly saved the images that I think could be re-printed out at decent quality. Here is the archive :-http://rapidshare.com/files/84163316/Paperchild_Quick_Download.zip.htmlI also did a very quick and dirty edit of 8a which is in the archive. I printed it out and it came out alright. If people want to they can (a group effort) they can pick an image, photoshop it and we can collect them back and load them up via rapidshare.
Oh yeah I forgot to mention 8a is going to my contribution !;-)Hey I didn't say I couldn't pick the easy one !
>>116412Yeah... if you're just printing out what other people made for this sort of thing, that's pretty pointless.
>>116427I did a quick and dirty edit of this (it's from your archive) because I simply HAD to use it for a gift. (A monitor is hard to wrap. She'll have to do instead.)
