Carpenter's woodglue (dunno if there's difference between PVA paper glue or wood glue?) works well too, so if you don't have PVA paper glue right now, and don't want to buy some, go in your dad's toolshed to find out where he keeps his woodglue. DO NOT USE A LOT. It will spill when you press the parts together and make a mess. Use a small amount, almost dry, and it will stick very well. If it doesn't (if you waited too long and it's TOO dry, apply glue again. Simple.
