yes 110lb cardstock is usually what everybody uses. Sometimes regular printer paper for smaller parts.

Just as long as the "recycled" part doesn't change the color of the paper... ;-)

Ok so I got back from the store and I was wondering what type of cutting board you guys use? I have a small wooden one but I was thinking of getting a plastic one or one thats a bit bigger than mine (it's smaller than a peice of paper).

1. Paper: I use 65 lb. cardstock, but only cause I'm too lazy to go drive to Staples or something, and th local stationers and bookstore both only have 65
2. Dedicated self-healing cutting mats. Its what everybody uses. I have an Art Alternatives 5" by 7", but only because I carry my /po/ stuff around a lot (College student, I work in places like dorm room, lounge, library, class, etc) and need the portability. My size is big enough for a lot of applications, but sometimes hard to tell where it is under the paper, or long (see whole page length) lines. Try this:

Although your local store where you got your hobby knife should have cutting mats, probably near the knives. If you didn't get a hobby knife, scissors suck ass. Go get a hobby knife.
