The Epcot Ball Anonymous
I started on this about a year ago, and made these damn little pieces every now and then since. And now about a week ago I figure it was time to finish the damn thing, and tada!

Here's the site: http://nuwen.net/poly.html

thats pretty impressive. I've made smaller versions using a similar module. I tend to make the smaller ones but I've done it enough times I should really just man up and make a big one.

its the small ones that get all the attention. a simple small ball of a typical module normally looks more interesting than a really large ball of a more complex type module. at least thats what I've come to see.

Is there a way you could cover and smooth it with plaster? I'd do that then spray paint it.

ive made all the peices for it in 1.5 days but then when i went for the making of it im having major problems of gravity pushing down on it making it very hard to build up. any pointers?

i got bored so while making my big one i decided to make a small one. i made 180 pieces in 2.5 hours still need 90 more and its with 5cm by 5cm paper lol. well anyhow i was wondering does it still count as origami if i were to glue it together so that it will keep longer so i can hang it w/o needing to possibly fix it sometimes?

I just feel a need to nerd this thread up a little.

Its proper name is "Spaceship Earth."
