Use decent paper - NOT that regular 80 g/m² printer paper
- I prefer cardstock that is about 120g/m² in weight.

Krazy glue will work, but I usually use rubber cement. Not as awesome as the Three Stooges made it look, but it works pretty well. Just brush some on, give it a few moments to get tacky, and hold the pieces together.

I use card stock but I have some cover stock which isn't a smooth and not as heavy.

A decent acid-free paper glue - importantly it needs to be fast setting - scrap-booking glue is usually perfect.
eg: Power Pritt Multipurpose Extra Strong Gel.
