just to let you all know this is on auction
http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r47841201
40 dollars tho
>> GoblinGuy
Yeah, I've seen it several times. It's already expired once and re-listed, so there's probably a huge opportunity to buy it, if anyone needs some extra time to gather the extra cash.

On the other hand, I have a few surprises coming in from Japan, just as soon as the third item I bought is ready for shipment. I won't tell you what they are, but you can expect a thread about 'em within a month or a month and a half.
>> orz
>>158377
oh hey its you
thats great that you got 3 models but this one is really pricey 40 dollars >.<
>> GoblinGuy
>>158379
Oh yeah. Stuff's really expensive. And since most Japanese sellers won't ship internationally, you have to use a different company to get 'em to buy them for you and ship 'em to you. (Thanks to the anon that told me that last time!)

And that's where things get more expensive. Each item is charged with a 15 dollar processing fee (so this would actually be 55 dollars if you live outside of Japan) and then shipping is 32 dollars per 1.1 pounds, so the shipping really piles on to that as well. On the 3 models I've spent about 45 dollars so far and plan to spend 45 more for shipping. All of this for items that would have totaled less than 10 dollars without fees.

>>158394
Ouch! I don't care what models they are, I'll make them just because you payed that much for them.
>> GoblinGuy
>>158396
Hah! ;) It's no biggie, I bought the models mostly because I myself am interested in them. If nobody else builds them, that's fine with me, because I'm getting what I want.
>> Anonymous !bgREVLN8FU
You share them, right? These highly expensive yet very rare papercraft models are shareable, right?

RIGHT?!?!?!
>> GoblinGuy
>>158411
Nope. Keeping them all to myself.

Yes, I'm sharing them.

http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r48275609
>> GoblinGuy
>>160528
Yeah. It keeps getting re-listed because nobody is buying it.

On a side note, I've shipped the items from Japan. It was exPEEEEEENsive. Lemme break it down.

Item 1 - 1 dollar + 15 dollar handling fee.
Item 2 - 5 dollars + 15 dollar handling fee.
Item 3 - 1 dollar + 15 dollar handling fee.

Total for items: 52 dollars.

Shipping (3-7 days) 82 dollars, plus their handling fee that they have not added yet.

Grand total: 134 dollars.

1. Prit picture
2. Show them
3. Say: "kono pepakura kudasai" (this papercraft please, if it fails look for someone that can understand english and talk japanese. If this person is a native it will be easier if you write it, you can look for foreigners, there are some japanese descendant brazilians)
4. buy it

It isn't the exact same Hatsune Miku as OP's picture, but it's a decent model. I haven't opened the .pdo yet.

>> SilentCaay
>>161394
A bitch to build, though. I'm almost done with mine. The OP looks like the same design as Mari-tan. That was a pleasure to build and 2 sided. It would be nice to have.
>> Jen
>>161386
I don't speak Japanese, but when I was looking on Japanese paper model sites, I remember them writing it as "pepakurafuto" in kana.
>> GoblinGuy
>>161435
That's correct, with a dash after pe and pa.

So it would look "pe-pa-kurafuto" or "????????"
