I'm looking for any papercraft dice towers. This one would be tight, but the parts are split into 16 pages and don't print to 8.5x11 correctly.

In return, Microtactix Dirt Cheap Strongholds, which apparently isn't in /rs/ yet. Link after towers!

I never knew such a thing existed but now i know i must have one. MUST! PLEASE!

If you're looking for foamcore towers, cehck out this:
http://www.boardgames.co.il/RichTextArea_Pro_he/popups/uploaded/Misc/Dice%20Tower.zip
But, that one isn't anywhere near as interesting as that one.

And for everyone interested, the OP's picture is this one:

Don't know what to tell you about fixing it though.

Thank you so much!

only 16 pages for this? not bad.

I haven't played a game requiring dice in quite some time, but I think I still have to build this.

I too found this rather amusing, will try to find something related when I get home

So, I know it's only been about a day, but I was wondering if there was anyway anyone could rescale the pdfs for for this model (http://www.papermakeit.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=17&Itemid=42) for 8.5x11 paper, or tell me how to do it when I print? I thought I had it figured out, using Adobe's ZoomSmart feature, or whatever, but it didn't scale properly.

It wouldn't be a problem, but I don't have access to any A4 cardstock, unless Hobby Lobby carries it. I know my local Office Max doesn't, because I looked for that a few months ago when I tried doing some other models.

scale to fit printer margins

I just printed the whole thing with no issues

...What exactly do these things do?

takes away the boredom of rolling dice by letting them fall down little paths and holes and such.

Guaranteed to make any game last 3x as long.

No, it provides a "fair" way to roll dice. If no one's throwing, no one can be throwing wrong.

Try putting it together now and tell me if the pieces fit correctly. Using that feature, the pages that are already small enough to fit in the margins print original size, and the pages that are bigger will shrink, messing up assembly. The pages aren't all the same size.

You'd have to open the .pdf, and copy each and every page to an art program, find the largest width and largest height, adjust the canvas size of each page (add white border) to those proportions, then print all the pages. A bit of a pain, but hey, piracy isn't easy.

If you don't mind the fact that I copied the images at 100 percent print size instead of at their full resolutions...

Gah. Cut the tabs off on page 7... but still buildable

Here. I did a MUCH better job on the green.

Deleted the red tower, redid it in a better quality, with the tabs not cut off.

Now, if you want to fix the OP's model to print properly... that's a lot more pages, but it can be done. Save each page of the model to .bmp or whatever lossless format you want, make all pages the same size, and then either print, or pack them into a new .pdf file.

well, I was searching for dice towers, and it seems it would be better for me to make it from wood or plastic; paper would not stand travelling on my bag and they sound a lot better too

I made the red version out of 65lb paper. I used cardboard for the base, didn't have any foam board. It is nice and works great. It should stand up to use.
