Floor Master "Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker" DaredevilBR
After a long time waiting for the models of the Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker done by Chokipeta, I decided to develop the models, besides the ones that nor they were done. To begin I decided to do "Floor Master", besides done by Chokipeta. I finished unfolding the model, I should finish the texture, instruction and the base under next days.

OMG, you are awesone for doing this! I have been wishing for this!

Good luck, all new models are welcome! ;)
Maybe try to make the palm of the hand a little simpler like 1 flat face or at least not 10 different folds.
Also keep in mind that it will probably fall over if you don't get the center of gravity right (even if you glue it to a piece of paper like Chokipeta, if you don't get it right you'll need a disproportionate large piece of paper...). Weighing it down works of course, but it will be a much better papercraft if you don't need to weigh it down, but can stand up on itself (with just a small base like Chokipeta's) because a little extra work was put into it.
Good luck!

indeed well done and kudos for trying, I do wonder, will the arm be strong enough to support the hand?

If it can't stand up on it's own, you could always make a stand which has a small weight (coin, stone etc) in the other end, so as to give it a counter-move.

Btw, nice work, looks cool - can't wait ^__^

I don't think that will be a problem, the paper hand part will weigh so little that the arm will be able to hold it without problems. Balance is the biggest issue I think.

I agree with>>63253, I hate models that are poorly designed so you need to use tricks to keep them falling over. It can easily be done like Chokipeta originaly did it, with just a small baseplate (Floor Masters do come out of a small hole right?) it's just a matter of getting the balance right. It's hard to tell this beforehand, but I don't think it's gonna be far off.

Yeah, but you're known for wanting any papercraft as soon as possible. ;)
>>63251please don't take the easy way out and find out if it can stand on its own or if it needs a little fixing before you release it pls!
>> digerman3 !!ZZooA9OMvOQ
no the paper model maker can take the time to finish the model and test build to se dat it works and if there are broblem have the time to fix it

What 3D modeling program are you using to develop the model?

Answering to all.... I had already thought on the balance of the model, be calm... same because still lack the hole from where leaves the hand.... that was already thought... my largest problem is time.... but I should finish that week, and I should send for a friend to do the first assembly, like this he will help me to see the problems in case the model has, and like this I arrange before to liberate the model. Excuse if I forgot to answer some question, it is that I have little time to be in the computer. I use at least 3 different programs to model, being them: Matesequoia, 3D Max and my favorite one, Maya, being each program to model something specifies.

I lower another image of other angles of the model!

Until the next innovations!!!

Bye!!!!
