That PHiZZ stuff is damn addicting. If this thread is still around, I will post pictures of the DNA strand I made with it (22 sheets of paper?) and the Yin Yang my friend made with them (i forget how many sheets that was)

The one i posted was a 555 unit torus. It's a lot of units, but really not that hard in the long run. I found a way to make 64 units per sheet of 8.5x11 paper. From there it's just repetition until complete. Using that 64 unit method it took about 1min per unit to fold, and quite a while to assemble. When I did the math, it was something like 12-13 hours per torus.

...i've made 9. Plus the 22sheet DNA Strand.

Post a picture of the DNA strand? I tried to make one with a different module, but it didn't work so well...

Ok, I will start off with a set of Torii, just to warm up.

Here is the Yin Yang.

Now, it doesn't have the amazing helical property of DNA, but we are getting over that.

Eh, this is just a fun shot. I might have more angles somewhere if you want more of them.

To conclude, I post a picture of the iteratively larger buckyballs I made. The large one is some 434 units or so, if i remember correctly.

150 hexagons + 12 Pentagons
(150*6) + (12*5) = 900 + 60 = 960
930 interior edges / 2 edges per unit
so thats 465 units... if i did the math right.
>> Voltron
wow. ok, so i did the math wrong.
960 != 930

How do you make 64 out of one sheet of 11x8.5?

Ok, I went ahead and threw a page together in haste with some basic instructions and all the images in a .zip file (why doesn't geocities like .rar?) You can just use this one picture if you like to be puzzled, or you can go here:
