Its there for support. Goes in the middle of the inside of the papercraft, right before the back (the black piece)

I suppose that is for inner stability, some shields have it too, it goes betwen the frontal and back layers to mantain the inflated aspect...

won't do an incredibly good job but will help make those small pixely papercrafts nicer for you and it lets you download the svg for it so you can make it bigger as you see fit
