Quick question here, is Elmer's Glue sold in the UK?
I can't be bothered to go all the way to Hobbycraft to find they don't sell it, so if they don't any UK sold alternatives?

Because that wouldn't give me any alternatives. I would still be in the same situation as I am now, with little idea of any alternatives. Which is why I asked "any UK sold alternatives?"
Showing that I was asking for some alternatives.

Yeah, if they don't have Elmer's. Which was to say, if they did have it, you would buy it. Therefore calling the store would be the first step.

"Do you sell Elmer's glue?"
"No"
"What glues DO you sell, then?"

I live in the UK and haven't seen this type of glue in Hobbycraft or some other arts and craft shop.
Use Wood Glue or any tacky glue. Shop brand, Anita is fine. This is type of glue I use for all my models because it holds fast ,strong and dries quick.

I never even thought about it, but Elmer's glue probably isn't sold much outside of the USA and Canada. Here's a little history on the mascot, Elmer.
Elmer is the husband of Elsie the cow. Both are mascots for Bordon products, and Bordon used to have an entire family of cattle mascots. The only ones that are still in use today are Elmer on glue bottles, and Elsie the Cow on Bordon's Milk.
