As for>>101715: in just about every thread I see someone looking for a reason to sage the thread just like this................. It's FAR more annoying than people that are too stupid/lazy to use google and that we can help by replying with a link to the papercraft they'd like to build, or by telling them we don't know if it exists and be done with it.

Saging does not help. It's either:
1) a new person everytime, so they don't know you're annoyed by all the "noobposts" so even if they would have wanted to care they couldn't, because they won't know about the sage you did when they weren't here yet.
2) it's the same person sometimes; it means they don't really care about you saging their threads, and will wait patiently until someone who isn't a jerk replies them with the info they seek.
3) even worse, it's the same person sometimes that actually likes reading your sages just for laughs and actually makes noobthreads just to see you do it again so they can laugh at you again. Unfortunately, there's no way for the rest of /po/ to tell if it's a troll that you woke up, or a real noob that /po/ can help.

The best way to deal with a post that annoys you is to DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Don't reply, just scroll past it to something you do find interesting and let the replying be done by somebody who doesn't mind helping others, even if it's the same question over and over and over again; it will always be like that.

thank you for that lovely post.

these sages piss me off more than anything.
I bet they're the same fucking person too who's all butthurt over so many newfags asking questions about how to get into papercraft.
We really do need a sticky though, I have a feeling that would help a lot.

A number of us have been calling for a sticky for some time, and for the removal of that "requesting is permitted" line in the board rules, or editing it to tell the folks to at least TRY to find the models themselves..

The truly infuriating thing is that there's one shithead who keeps looking to see what the last model is on page 10, then posts a "I want that model" post to knock it off the bottom of the board.
