Sure the Disney one is cool and much more detailed, but since no templates are free yet!

I still wonder why the disney experience has not been shut down. He is not affiliated with, nor can I find any place where he has official sanctioning by disney, yet he is selling disney-related goods.

Is disney not evil? Do they just not care? If you sell a star wars or star trek papercraft, Lucasfilm or Paramount will personally rape you in the butt.

lol the cds he sells "have been tested to last approximately 100 years"
I wonder how they did that? Put away a cd and then checked it after a hundred years?

Run them in a machine at 4x the read for 25 years? Make the CD listen to five for fighting's 100 years?

That place would be http://disneyana.com/
Why do you care? Thought he was a pirate and only /po/ can pirate? ;o) Or were you jealous he was making money with papercraft? ;o)

So disneyana is now an officially recognized Disney entity, capable of acting on behalf of disney as a whole, rather than just an internet marketplace?

And no, I am not jealous. It just made me wonder how one person can make a profit off of one thing when others cannot – simply a matter of wondering what makes him so special that he is overlooked. I am sorry if my reply made anyone think ill of me.

Not sure what you're babbling about exactly, but Disneyana can give permission to those who want to sell Disney related stuff, yes. ;o)

And it's just that /po/ needs to care less about what other people do and don't do. Many of /po/ seem to get upset by something so trivial lately, and it ruins the board. They need more "who cares?" attitude and post new papercrafts. ;o)

There's no place for this crap here, or anywhere else. Racism is racism.

FWIW: Disney was a well known anti-semite, and did other very NON "DISNEY" things during his life. He was not a nice, or good man, and the theme parks do not reflect him at all.

He did love carnivals and things like that as a kid. He never really got to go to any of them as a kid, because his father always said they were a waste of money. I also read once that his father kept the money that he and his brother earned during childhood and was keeping it for them for "safekeeping." He later used it all to start a jelly factory or something like that for himself.

Who knows whether his reasons for creating Disney themeparks were based more on his childhood love of carnivals, or if it was his father's words that it was a great way to waste money that was the motivation for him building them.
