What kind of paper should I use?
For the majority of the models a 120g/m² cardstock should be fine.
For bigger projects use 180g/m² and for smaller projects/parts use 90g/m².
For cubee you can use plain paper (75g/m²).
For lb values, one should be fine with a 67lb paper but since I do not use this unit of weight I ask for others who are more familiar with it to give the appropriate value. (I got the value of 67lb lurking around here)

What kind of glue to use?
Any type of glue made for paper.
Don't know about brand names but lurking around /po/ found some people recommend:
Elmer's glue
Aleene's tacky glue
Eileen's Tacky Glue

What else should I have in hand?
X-acto knife
Self healing mat
Scoring tool
Tweezers for more complicated models with smaller pieces

Where can I find all these materials?
On the craft section of Wal-Mart.
On a craft store.

Where can I find templates for <model name>?
Before asking, search these general papercraft sites. You'll be able to find many papercrafts that may interest you. If you can't find on any of these sites, than ask on /po/

I have other questions!
Q:How do I open .pdo files?
A:You'll need Pepakura Viewer (or designer).

Q:Where can I get it? And is it free?
A:Get it here: http://www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en/download/download.html
Pepakura Viewer is free and Designer is paid. Viewer will be enough for you if you're a beginner. Otherwise you should already know about this program and all.

Q:What else should I know?
A:Learn to search for the information you want before asking. It's pretty tiresome to keep answering the same questions everytime. Just imagine how boring it would be if you had to answer the same question every week. It's the same for a community. Ask only if you really can't find the answer.
