Hi /po/. I'm a World of Warcraft nut and I wanted to create a papercraft helm from the game. I have the Warcraft Model Viewer, but I'm a total noob when it comes to Pepakura Designer. Anyone have any suggestions on how I might be able to make myself a pattern for the helm? The picture is from http://wowpapercraft.blogspot.com/... they don't have the helm pattern I'm looking for.

I think this might help.. it explains how to get the 3d data from the viewing program.. but how to make that into a sweet papercraft i dunno..

just install wow + bc
open WowModelViewer
find the model you want
export model (file -> export model)
open milkshape3d
export file as a .OBJ
convert texture file as a .JPG
open .OBJ file in Pepakura Designer

honestly, thats easier than going thru the injector program and all.

wow,>>153550, you are awesome.

and>>153551, it's the Gladiator's Dragonhide Helm (http://thottbot.com/i28127). I have the whole set on my druid and I wanted to dress up as it for Halloween this year, so I'm hoping to make papercraft shoulders as well, if this works well enough.
