Sup /po/

I am new to this and want to start making papercraft.

Is using thicker paper suggested?

Any thing I need to know would be great.
>> GoblinGuy
Starting with regular paper is usually recommended, but cardstock is generally better for all types of papercraft.

Thank you.

Anything else?

score all your folds, it looks much cleaner

and take your time to make everything nicely, you're not racing to finish anything

Most everything can be found here:

although personally I would never use a glue stick.

One more thing. I used these videos to teach me how to papercraft. I still go by most of what these videos say.

Thanks very much guys.

Hey I just wanted to say thank you to all with tips, i've recently also gotten into papercraft and have made some of the minimmos and the snake in the box. Never thought to score my folds though, any advice about that?

only do it on heavier paper. If you're using normal printer paper, don't bother.

Well i'm actually using a form of cardstock, but which side would I score, the side i'm folding or the opposite side?

How about you ask about a Monkey D. Luffy papercraft since you are using him to market your newfagginess.

Luckily I have learned all of the interweb's contents by heart so I can direct /po/eple at whim:

The blue links are for instructions (quite useful obviously) the pink links are for the parts.
