At least a CP would do.

Alright, I will when I can get off my lazy ass to do so. For now, some of you might be able to figure it out since it's made from a blitzed fish base.

Wow, there's actually an origami thread around. Good job Android (especially for a girl :-p), but I still don't get what's with you and pokémon...

Hey, origami Pokémon are fun. Found this pattern years ago...
>> Anonymous

For sure. I've even folded a few. Keiichi Kozasa's Pikachu, Miyamoto Shintaro's Northern Wind (Suicune?), Reptile witha bulb on its back (Bulbasaur), Mudkip (but the CP is terrible), and Burning Anteater, which is pretty cool.

Just saying I think it's weird how she's so into pokémon...

Have any of the ones you just listed to share, or have any links?

Well, here's Miyamoto Shintaro's website: http://www.comic-folder.sakura.ne.jp/top.index.html

He has some crease patterns. Also, he has pokemon in Tanteidan books 6, 8, and 9.

Kozasa's Pikachu is in Tanteidan 5.

Blargh... crease patterns. At least I can see the basics behind their ideas.

My brain has too many origami patterns committed to memory, anyway... adding in Pokémon might be bad.

Here's the burning anteater I just folded. It's actually a pretty good design, as opposed to a lot of his work.

You have crease patterns memorized? Which? How are you doing with them?

No, not the crease patterns -- the exact step-by-step instructions on how to fold things. I have over 100 memorized, mostly simple stuff, but a good two dozen ones out of various John Montroll books, including the three-headed dragon from Mythological/Chinese Zodiac

The designs for some of the pokemon are really nice, so I think that's part of it. Now that all of the pokemon cards are worthless, I go around collecting them from time to time, because it's good to surround oneself with the artwork of others when you're an artist yourself. The work I've been doing with origami and papercraft are starting to pay off with my projects in sculpture class.

Jesus Christ above, can you be anymore snotty and pretentious. You sound like a freshman liberal arts student. Oh I bet your going to be real fun to hang around with the next few years. I hope you enjoy your experimentation. Remember not to piss daddy off too much, or he'll cut you off dear.

Dunno, it's just a good anime-related subject to fold. Plus, who doesn't liek Mudkips?
