Realistic Crepe/ Tissue Paper Flowers Anonymous
Picture is related! :3

Hello /po/ ^^ I have happily been lurking here and had a quick question. As of late I have been really interested in making realistic paper flowers. I found a few neat origami sites, but now I want to try something that is ultra realistic. Does anyone do this neat paper craft or can point me in the right direction? I have found a few websites that sell paper flowers, but none on creating them.

I am hoping to find patterns and directions somewhere. :/ My eventual goal is to make a paper lantern out of paper flowers. I think it will be really pretty and unique.

This might help.
Not quite crepe paper, but coffee filters.

Crepe paper on this one, but limited pictures. Although there is a pattern for some petals and leaves.

Not to hijack the thread, but I have a question for the olddykes on /po/ about the kinds of papercraft we can post on. Usually /po/ is about diagrams->cutting->gluing, or origami. What about things like OP's flowers (which really are pretty), or paper-mache? Or artwork that is primarily but not entirely made out of paper, like sculpture that incorporates Styrofoam or fiberglass?

154268 here again. Have you checked Martha Stewart's site?

^^ Thank you so much 154268!! I have been looking all over for the ones Martha Stewart did. Thank you everyone who helped me find some links. I did finally find out how to make the pretty daffodils and narcissi on the first pick I posted.

I am going to give it a try and see how they turn out ^^ Thank you again /po/ !! :3

Oh and 154268, I haven't been poking around /po/ too long. I do love the origami I have discovered here. To be honest I didn't know that there were different types of paper crafts besides origami, before I found /po/. I understand what you are saying though. Feel free to hijack the thread to discuss. I hope these flowers count :P I would like more patterns ^^;;;

Thank you again /po/!! <3
