Hi /po/!

Are there any Chrono Trigger papercrafts?

Nope, not even one.

Protip: You, too, can design papercraft.

Noobtip: I have no idea how...

Anyone thinking about designing some?

Does anyone have a papercraft toilet?

I have some free time this weekend, I may just design one.

currently tracing the toilet papercraft from my sketchbook into illustrator. I will be needing test builds once I post, watch this thread for details!

Here ya go, one toilet papercraft.

Sorry that took so long, I got distracted by things like food and sleep. Test builds please, and let me know any changes that need to be made!

just printed it

The bowl doesn't work

What on the bowl doesn't work? I won't be able to print it myself until later today, so please let me know what I should change before I can get a good test build in myself.

it just doesn't. it's hard to explain, but you'll see when you build it. I suggest building the bowl first just to see.

Hmm, I just traced it from my monitor onto a piece of printer paper (not cardstock, so that may be the issue) and I didn't have a problem assembling it... does the heavier cardstock not bend properly to get the tabs in place?

i tried it on standard and cardstock. it just doesn't fold right. paper doesn't bend that way.

Ha! This toilet is shit! LOL

Oh dear.

so the toilet gets flushed down the... toilet?

/po/eple need to realize that using heavier cardstock or standard paper does not make a difference concerning how the paper/cardstock can bend/fold.
You'll start to see a difference when you're using a mm thick posterboard, not when you're using 2-2.5 (160-200 gsm) times as thick cardboard...
The only reason why you would use regular paper instead of cardstock, is because it's cheaper.

See, that's what I figured, which is why I did the testbuild out of paper (which could then be more easily deconstructed and traced) And subsequent tracings onto regular paper from the monitor result in working models, which is why I don't really understand what the problem is. Also, tonight I'll print it off at school and will make a cardstock model myself, as my printer died last night...

then you will see what the problem is
