calling me jealous for not doing it already just based on what I said is a tad harsh.
I didn't know about papercraft until about a year and a half ago, but I did the 3d model quite a few years before that. The program I did it with wouldn't export to anything since it was still in beta, so I lost the model when the company that made the program vanished off the face of the earth and my beta support died, and soon after that the program's key timed out.
it was pretty cool stuff, though. It did motion capture without needing little stickers all over your face.
Can't remember the name of the software... 'face'-something? bah.
Good news is that there's a product that Autodesk just bought that builds 3d models using photos, but I don't think it's advanced enough to do faces yet. http://www.realviz.com/
