>>37828 I understand it's impossible to show 4 dimensions, but then why show a picture and tell everybody: "this picture does not show you what it looks like!" ;o) This is just a vase, with a tube at the end (with the tube being actual part of the vase) and the tube goes through the wall of the vase, to the bottom on the inside of the vase, but the bottom of the vase has a hole in it and the tube connects to that as well, and then they rounded of the edges of that connection to make it look a bit better... That's nothing spectacular at all... I guess with the real Klein bottle the spectacular thing is how to get the tube through the wall of the vase without cutting a hole, the solution being the 4th dimension. I rate this the same as the spectactular Escher papercrafts after you have you looked at them from different angle and have been dissapointed big time... (just to make clear, I rate the 3D presentation of the Klein bottle like that, not the OP's papercraft, although that too will be a "fake" Klein bottle obviously, it was made by somebody who had fun making it (otherwise why make it) and I'll support everybody that wants to contribute to /po/ for fun)
