/po/ I got a question.
I know it's possible to rip models from N64 games by using an emulator and another software, my question is: is it possible to rip model from PS2 games too??

Yeah, it is. There's programs that can rip any 3D information from just about any 3D program. It's just too bad I don't know how to extract them from the game itself to get normal models instead of in-game ones that may be in motion or activity.

:\
do you know the name of it? I might as well try it out, since the other option is making the model from scratch...

of shit, never mind, I think I found it, just in case someone else wants it

The Kingdom Hearts Sora thread had a bunch of info about this, but ripping from PS and PS2 games is not as simple as you guys think because for the most part the model ripper/viewer is made for one specific game -- every game handles data differently.
