Paper Claws Orin
Hey, I remember being in middle school (somewhere in the vacinity of 10 years ago) a friend of mine taught me how to make some pretty nifty "claws" out of paper. It made for a good time-consumer in those boring classes. I had since forgotten how to make them, so I just looked it up, and found it. So here it is.

Its here. The text for the fingers in case the post is deleted or somesuch:

1. Begin with a sheet of ordinary, 8×10 in. computer paper.
2. Fold the top right corner down so that the edge lines up with the opposite side of the sheet, as in figure 2.
3. Fold the upper point of the triangle straight down to the bottom left corner of the sheet, as in figure 3.
4. As in figure 4, fold the right edge of the paper in so that the diagonals line up. The paper should now be square-shaped.
5. Fold the square in half along the diagonal line, making a triangle; see figure 5.
6. This step gets tricky, as you’ll have to fold by feel. If you don’t get it at first, it will come quickly after a few attempts. Fold the right side of the triangle over, as shown in figure 6.
7. Now fold the same side over a second time, ensuring that the point of the folded portion lines up with the bottom edge of the triangle to make a contiguous line going across the entire shape, as in figure 7.
8. Fold once more, and your piece should resemble figure 8.
9. At the short end of the claw, you should now have a flap of paper which can be folded inward and tucked into an opening, locked the last fold in place.
10. You may like to secure the paper’s edge to the claw with a strip of Scotch-Tape, but it’s not necessary.
11. Open the short end, and put it on a finger. Voilà! You’ve one tenth of a tiger’s front paws! Now, make nine more, then menace a kindergarten!

agreed. What I did was at 6 put the triangle pointing up then take the right point and fold it over and you get something like 6, after that i had to figure out how to make the claw on my own because the rest of the diagram I couldnt understand

When I saw the picture and the text, I started freaking out. I too was taught by a friend in middle school how to make these, but forgot it long ago. For years now I've wanted to rediscover these relics of my past. Thank you.
