Does anyone have a papercraft version of the ship the Discovery from 2001: A Space Odyssey?
(pic related; it's the ship)

*gasp*

Apparently this guy modified his to make it more realistic: http://jleslie48.com/others/disc0224.jpg

I emailed him and asked how he did it. If he sends me anything significant, I'll post it here.

Super nice EVA Pod. Billions of glue tabs to cut out though... haven't had the level of sanity needed to take this one on yet.

It's not papercraft, but the pics can be used for reference. Thanks.

Wow, thanks.

I got responses from the guy at jleslie48.com (the guy who made the realistic Discovery). Apparently, he used the "hako" version at Homespun Magixx and added a modified papermodel of the Death Star to replace the sphere. I'll post more about this later on.

This is somewhat related.

It's a papercraft model of Jupiter: http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.city.himeji.lg.jp%2Fhoshinoko%2Fkansoku%2Fc

Seriously one of these days I must find a good pepakura tutorial because I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL I MUST DO TO UNFOLD A MODEL PROPERLY.??!!

manually is the only way to go, not to hard to figure out, just arrange it yourself.

Nah, I am too lazy for this, if someone want to continue this, it will be much apreciated.

For the eva pod if I remember correctly there is a normal version and super detailed version. One is the 6 page one and the other I think is like 12 pages.
