Through paper dolls at a young age

Some dude sent in two pictures of Bowser and Ness into Nintendo Power and they featured it. After about a month of searching for papercrafts, I learned of /po/. Stupid thing is, I regularly visited 4chan, yet I never knew about this board.

I got banned from /v/ and started checking out other boards.

You, sir, are lying. Everyone knows that it is impossible to get banned from any board on /po/

I saw a mario64 model in my friend's copy of a EGM magazine. Ever since then I have been completely addicted to papercraft.

/v/ is for Video Games which is not a part of /po/!

Spotted it on my rounds here on 4chan, but once I got interested once again in Star Trek props I wanted to have an actual feel for the size of the TOS Communicator and nabbed a papercraft version. Obviously it was fucking paper, but it better prepared me for the arrival of my DST TOS Comm, and after that arrived I decided to put the Daft Punk helmets into motion.

I despise being a part of any "community" that I can't positively contribute to.

an origami book I got in the 6th grade.
Though papercraft specifically...a little mario shroom I made one day, and more recently, a half-life headcrab model :)

I couldn't be happier with this hobby.

I thought this was about origami.. -_-'
Seems that no one here is interested in origami anymore.. Kept visiting /po/ from time to time, but all I see is papercraft discussions.. =(

Credit cards are over-rated anyway.

i believe they take paypal now and anyway you can get gift cards that work like credit cards from american express and some other companies. i got my account before i had checking, so i just used one of those cards.

I'm Australian too - American Express never took off here, they tried and FAILED!
It's pretty hard not to have a VISA when handling most internet transactions, otherwise PayPal is definitely the way to go.
