sup /po/

this is my first papercraft.

I know, some might say it's to complex for a beginer.. but this is the first set of instructions I ever saw for papercrafting.. then I remembered 4chan had /po/ so figured I'd ask for your opinion.

BTW: It isn't finished yet.. still gotta do the legs.

That's good! Not many white remains, it's already stable or it would collapse!

Good work Anon... Keep on doing them!

yeah, I heard suggestions of using cardstock from others, but I live in the middle of nowhere so it's hard for me to get ahold of it and I was too excited to wait for it over mail. SO what I did was glue a few sheets of printing paper together to triple the strength. I'm quite happy with the results.

so that actually works?

not the OP, but I do have a Mad Cat template.
3 pages of parts and instructions on top of that.

OP here, I have the, in my opinion, better looking MW4 template of the Mad Cat right here

Ah, finally, someone else with a complex first papercraft. Good job. And I used paper for my first papercraft too, and it was perfectly rigid in the end, so I just used paper for the rest of my stuff. It's perfectly stable.

I've had fun doing it. I enjoy doing things I can recognize easily. Being as I still play MW4 frequently, this mech is a common sight for me.

I'm almost done with it too, I should have it finished tomorrow, if not tonight.

well, it's somewhat done now. I didn't do the legs quite right though, they're angled slighly wrong and it won't stand up on it's own. Oh well, I'll have to make up something to brace it.

Regardless of whether or not it stands up, it looks like some pretty decent work for a beginner!

It's nice to see pictures of completed work from people once in awhile, and I wish more people would post pictures of their completed crafts.

you should try zech's(if he has rereleased them yet, if he hasn't i will upload what i have found), they are fully articulated

I don't recall if MW3 got their papercraft section back up or not. I remember it got shut down after some of the models were being sold or some crap like that.

I got this one from MekTek (www.mektek.net), they have an art section that has a few papercraft artists that just started putting out models like this.
