Papercraft is a hobby for the patient ones, not only building papercrafts, but even more designing them. Everybody always asks about Pepakura, but if you make a model with Pepakura, you need to be aware that you'll probably only been working with Pepakura about 30 minutes (well, I'm exaggerating a little...) but the work on the 3D model will take you days if not weeks, depending on the model of course. If you try to shortcut the preparation of the 3D model, the final papercraft will not be very good usually...
