Printing cardstock... zeph !MawilegZB6
I've only been papercrafting for a little, doing it all on plain 8x11 copy paper.

I decided to move up and buy some plain white cardstock, its not incredibly thick/weighty but its definitely more sturdy, and it comes in 8x11, designed for printer size already.

I went to print the RO novice template, set full page fax print, and the results went like this:

First page was tilted only slightly at the corner, second page came out fine, third page jammed the printer and bunched the cardstock beyond use.

Its just a 6980 Deskjet, it prints regular paper fine, and listening to the printing it didn't seem to have any problems curling around, and no creases came on the finished product...

So what did I do wrong/what SHOULD I be using to print?

Pic unrelated but neat.

That's mine. Works great. Ink lasts a while, too.

Never tried cardstock but I believe you only put one sheet at a time in the paper feed bit (sorry! don't knoiw the technical name). Supposed to stop it slipping etc. Hope that helps.

First, lightly fan through your cardstock at both ends before you put it in your load try, sometimes it gets packed so tightly that several pages stick together and cause a jam. Make sure your side guards if your printer has them are firm but not tightly against sides, that also can cause problems.
I use an HP crap i mean printer, so I dont know exactly how your model works but my second piece of advice is check in your printers operations folder... most printers have a paper being used menu... try putting it on cardstock or A4 some printers will print on paper or thin cardstock without having to be changed over, others are more tempermental... yours might be one of the latter.
