I have a sad story about Sonic Adventure 2. I have it for the Gamecube and I also had Sonic Advance. I had a Chao named Dash. I hatched him from an egg, gave him some animal parts, and he was PERFECT. He had the perfect mix of everything, so much so that I wouldn't give him any more animals to change his looks. I looooved Dash. One day I decided to take him on the road with me by connecting Sonic Advance to Sonic Adventure 2 and transferring him over to the GBA.

I did, and about a week later I had leveled him up from about 70 to 80 (I think 100 was the highest level). I now wanted him back on the Gamecube. In this week, I bought a Chao Egg on the GBA version that Dash could watch over. So I transfer Dash back over, and once he's on the Gamecube, the egg on the GBA hatches, giving me a new Chao. When this happens, the GBA game automatically saves. Which is fine.

What isn't fine is that when you transfer over it DOESN'T automatically save, which is fine also, I could go out and save any time. So the first thing I decide to do is put Dash in a competition, which requires going into the Chao garden. So I bring him in there and...

...

...the game freezes. Bye-bye Dash! That was the day I stopped playing Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Advance.

What I mean to say is, Sonic Adventure 2 doesn't automatically save. Sonic Advance does.
