What paper? Anonymous
Hey /po/
I'm new to this papercraft business, and have some disposable gift card to a craft store, so I figured I'd give this stuff a shot.
I'm wondering about pro's and con's to paper and whatnot. I've heard not to use just plain ... paper. But then there's all these different kinds and while I know it's up to preference I'd like to know a little bit about the differences between papers.

Maybe a bit about whatever glue I should use too.

Maybe you should check the other ten pages of /po/.

This is asked to DEATH. Do a tiiiiiny bit of research, say, read the other 10 pages. Or the tutorials on the Canon or Yamaha sites.

OP here
Yes, I've looked at the other 10 pages.
And yes, I've seen kinds of papers mentioned.
But nothing about what is good or bad about them or what the difference is. Maybe I'm just being too technical, but I thought I might as well try to ask the people who've been doing it.

....

110 lb (200 gsm) card stock works for most. Regular printer paper for small stuff where stability doesn't matter and you want less white edges. Plain old white glue, like the stuff you ate in school. Carpenter's glue works too.

No, you didn't. Wikichan's /po/ article is all of the answers you could get here.

I use rubber cement for gluing. It doesn't wrinkle the edges and it holds well.

I use 240gsm card, and PVA glue.
