Complete newbie Hip !4.GUqv1riY
Hey /po/,

I'm new to all this stuff but what you guys do looks damn fun!

Forgive my lack of knowledge on the matter, but I got a few questions.

First, what's the difference between papercraft and origami? Any tips for a complete beginner, things I should know? What kind of paper should be used?

And finally a question to the /po/ masters: what's important to you about this, and what motivates you to do it? What are some of your important values that are stimulated by this art?

Thank you!

origami is about only folding paper, no glue, no tape

if you want to do origami, just find special origami paper, the thin stuff with one side white one side color, should be good for a beginner

if you're going for papercraft, it should depend on the model you do but usually some cheap cardstock can do

/po/ masters reply if you want, I'm not master
