Let's presume that I'll be making this. Would anyone build a functional version, if I made one?
>> Anonymous
Would you?
Make papercrafts that you would like to build, and since there's so many crazy people on this planet, I'm sure we could find at least one other that would like to build it as well.
But at least then you would know there would be at least one person that you made happy: yourself. Who cares if that's the only one? It's the most important one. :-p

You have to ask? Of COURSE someone will build it. Looks like a great subject.

All questions like "would someone build it?" here are pretty stupid questions (despite your parents and your teacher telling you "there are no stupid questions").
But I think it's supposed to be a joke: would we build a working one? No we wouldn't. All people answering yes are also trying to be funny.
Good luck on your new project, let's hope people will be patient enough to just wait.

Well, the thing with most of my projects is that I don't really need to build them, but I don't have anything against making them either. So in most cases, when I don't make things for my friends, I ask others.

Furthermore, presuming that I'll be making this in static version anyway, it is a matter of ten minutes to turn it into functional one.

Do you actually LIKE making them..? lol Because it sounds like you couldn't care less about making them, but apparantly you care a great deal about people building them.
It would be better if you cared a great deal about making them (so you would have a great deal of fun doing so) but couldn't care less if people build them or not. lol

Of course I care about them. The whole process goes like this:

"Hey, there's a empty space on my shelf, let's do something about it. But what could I do?"
A list of possible projects follows. 9/10 is then removed, after rethinking and categorizing them as impossible to make (or after realizing that this is not what I want). Then I come here and ask people which one would they build. And here's the funny part, I make them. Or not, if I am not satisfied with the results (then it goes on my to-do list).

And that, as they say, is that.

Hurray! So you DO have fun making them! You started to sound like a slave making papercrafts only for other people's enjoyment...........

Exactly what>>62283said.
But to be more precise, I just need about four hours of free time (most likely provided by a weekend) to do some finishing touches of the 3D model, then unfold. It might even be done before The Rack.
