But it kinda depends on how thick the transparancies are if you want to glue them on the edges: if it's paper thin, no matter what glue you use, the bond won't be very strong. You'll probably just end up making a mess trying to apply the glue to the edge... And with all the bending/warping/curving of the parts while you try to glue them together, it'll be hellish to try and press them together properly to try and get a good bond. To avoid making a mess, maybe spreading out some glue on a scrap piece of cardboard then lightly pressing the edge of the transparancy in it is probably better than trying to put the glue directly on the edge (it will just run down the sides...)
