Fifthed!

Not to get anyone's hopes up but... that doesn't look horibly complex. From what I can see, atleast a few of the peices are duplicates of eachother.

If you took a 3d modeler and first built cylanders, then cut them to be a square, then added the teeth...

I can't do that, but it might be possible for one of our more skilled builders to recreate.

I seventh -- this is inspired.

Would the pieces need any extra support to hold them in place? At least three are connected to the driveshaft.

I would love to try this one, /r/ing a template for it

Yeah, is the gearing that would probably though. So if we could get a template, that would make it oh so much easier to do.

Nice idea, a nice visual aid for during a presentation. "But do not touch"??

If it was me, that would be the whole point! I'd have the audience pass it around during the presentation. Sure, there would be a little noise from the audience from the people playing with your models, but from experience, I found that they would just giggle a little, and won't really disturb your presentation. My teachers love stuff like that, it's much more fun and relaxed than standing there like "Hey! All of you! STFU and look at me for the next thirty minutes and try not to yawn!!" No matter how interesting your story is... ;o)

Next time, loose the "do not touch under penalty of death!!" ;o) Sure, your models might get damaged during the week(s) they are on display prior to your presentation. So think ahead, make two of each model and bring the spare with you on presentation day. ;o)

That being said: /po/ loves all papercrafts, of course you need to upload them...

lol yeah i battled w/ this over the curator of our sr show. all the displays had to have the "do not touch" sign. But dosent really matter its like when you tell somebody not to do something they want to do it more. I saw ppl picking up and breaking other kids projects on accident. LOL yeah ill embed the pdo when i get back home and up it.
