Vulpix Anonymous
I'm just experimenting with some papercraft modelling. Probably not a good time to be doing it, because I broke the blade on my xacto.

I've made this Vulpix model. Well to be fair, I ripped it and unfolded it.

If anyone wants to have a shot at it and see how it goes, I'd be happy to see the outcome. If all is well, I may make some more.
(Sorry there's no instructions, it's 5am and i'm going to bed.)

This is a render of the model.
Don't panic too much, I fixed the repeating textures in photoshop after unwrapping.
I couldn't figure out how to fix them in 3dsmax.

Good point.

Please everyone, post your criticisms on the template for me. When I wake up, i'll have at the model and recut it and everything, then I'll try to release a good version tomorrow some time.

1) Split up the pieces. Make a lot more pieces. You don't want the glue tabs overlapping each other like they are in this one.

2) Combine the smaller, more complicated ones. There are some parts in there that are just tiny squares whereas the rest are huge pieces. Don't leave those out there in the desert, put them on the other parts.

3) Study other parts from other models. Get a good feel of what other parts look like, and try to make your parts resemble something that can be built. This can probably be built, but it's a lot more complicated than it needs to be.

Burger King had a plush Vulpix? KFC had a huge one along with Zubat, that Seal (was its name Seal?), and Dratini.

I was op, btw.
Just became a namefag yesterday so I could claim all the flak/praise from any papercrafts I make... I'm so greedy. =]

Anyway, I'm having some trouble with the model, but I'll get there eventually. I promise.

If you want me to upload the model I will. Just say the word.

May take a day or two for me to work out some issues with the tails. Like the fact that they're all overlapping eachother.. Looks fine on the computer, but it didn't occur to me that they're solid objects when you put it together. Ain't I the smrtest?
