Original origami models? A.r.
Has anyone on here come up with any original origami models? I came up with the Compy pictured left a few years ago. If anyone has any original models, would they also care to share diagrams?

That's a really cool model. I like it.

I've come up with several models of my own(about 15) but the only ones I'm willing to share (and already have on here) are a Metroid, Gohma, and Arwing. They're all jPegs, so I'll only share the Arwing to spare thread length.

Page 2, I see that the OP at least uses foil paper. I recommend that with this model, otherwise it will not hold its shape easily. I hope others share more. Happy folding!

Whoops, forgot pic.

I came up with an 8 petaled flower from a blintzed frog base, but it's so simple someone else has done it before me, I'm sure. (Make blintzed frog base, sink top halfway, reverse fold flaps up, fold flaps down as petals.)

That green Compy is ientical to one on fishgoth, right down to the way you made the arms. You sure you made it yourself?
>> Anonymous
All the dinos I can see on Fishgoth's are closed-back. His isn't.
>> zet
crap, i forgot how to make the godzilla... which is odd, cuz i made 3 in a period of a week. but this is taking me way longer then i had hoped to make the instructions
>> A.r.

Yeah, they're made from the same base, but like>>32351said, all of his are closed-backed (except the deinonychus). I also came up with mine before I knew of the existance of fishgoth's site. Plus mine has a longer neck.
