/po/ I need help

me and my friend tried looking for shy guy masks for this play we're doing for class, and we tried to look for it on ebay and everything but nothing, so we try making them

what we did is buy a regular costume plastic hockey mask and just modify it, any suggestions?

Depending on your tools, a hockey mask could work. You'll need to either cut it to a circular shape, or add material to the sides. Also, you'll need to chop the nose, enlarge the eyes, create a mouth, and fill over the breathing holes.

I would say just get some jumbo party balloons and paper-mache the top to get a good circular mask. Just build it up thick, around 1/8" to 3/16".
