New Kawasaki Rose Anonymous
Was attempting to make the New Kawasaki Rose diagrammed by Winson Chan, and i got stuck pretty fast... how are u supposed to make the 2 lines leading to the point 2/3's of the length of the square? i got the outer 2 lines, but can't get the inner 2..

When instructions give you thirds... you give it your best estimate, or use a ruler. The amount of creases needed to determine the exact point would detract from the model.

Sweet angry jeebus I hate that thing. Not the rose itself, just that way of making it.

He is on to the way I did it. Note where the folds cross the prefolded lines. Line that up a little off (as you can see, just barely), and then fold the other line, connecting it roughly at 1/3. In the end it doesn't really matter as that fold wont make or break the rose. Don't get me wrong; you need to fold something there, but exactness really doesn't matter.
