From Satoshi Kamiya's "Works of Satoshi KAMIYA 1995-2003"

Reposting because I don't see it here very often (was about to ask about it, but checked /rs/ first), and because this board need more origami.

Model in picture has 275 steps, and a 50x50cm sheet of paper or foil is recommended- at minimum.

Search /rs/ for CHOCOBO or YELLOW BIRD -- you FIND IT.

yes, the book in the file has the instructions for the chocobo, as well as all the other ones posted here.

At the risk of sounding like a neo-luddite, why not order the book from Origami House?? It's not difficult to get an international postal money order; and it sounds like you fellows would get plenty of use out of it.

Not just a luddite, but you're advocating legal acquisition! Also, some countries actually don't do IPMO (like England I think).

Actually, you can get it from places besides Origami House. You can order it from Origami USA, Sasuga, and possibly a few other places. I bought the book right when it came out, and it is my favorite, getting more use than any of the others, even if it's just for studying. Satoshi Kamiya's diagrams are even more impressive than the models themselves. Definitely a purchase I do not regret making.
