So apparently people used to be able to access this site directly: http://www.pa.kkr.mlit.go.jp/tool/
It had lots of really really awesome free vintage Japanese papercraft (picture related)

But now when I try to go there it shows 403 error. Which means it's still accessible, probably, but I have to access it by clicking through links at http://www.pa.kkr.mlit.go.jp/ which is proving extremely difficult...google translator is just not doing it for me.

So can anyone access the papercrafts and at least tell me which links/buttons to get through? Or does anyone have them saved?

Thanks a lot, I really want to make something for my boyfriend, who's an east asian history major.

Wow didn't know about the site before...but I want this too. Can't figure it out either. ;_;

I would guess that the domain was bought by somebody else. It looks like this site is a public advisory/engineering firm. But Japan does do weird things sometimes.

Well it's 403 not 404 so the page should still exist right?

this is relevant to my interests

A page with the same directory name, yes. But it only seems logical that /tool/ would be used for administrative purposes under the new domain, which explains the 403.

dang so it really did disappear? what happened to all the vintage papercraft then? does anyone still have it?

I took a look around on the site but I didn't see anything relating to postcards. My Japanese is not great but I looked through the site map just to be sure. Also bump in case anyone saved them.

YAY THANK YOU ANON SO SO SO MUCH

I have downloaded them all and put it on rapidshare for everyone. They're all together except for one file that had to be in 5 separate pieces because of some archiving problem.
Hope it works! Enjoy =)

Will try, but I've looked for some before myself and didn't find any. I think the best thing to do is go through a bunch of old mangas that people don't want anymore and just look for ones that you can use. Crazy humorous slapstick mangas seem to be the best place to look possibly.

Wow someone actually got it! bump for awesomeness
