And I need some help here too, as I really need to know just how big this is, the body and the leg? How many inches/cm will the completed model be, and is this template sure to be complete? Any problems?

The reason why I am asking so many questions is because I am SERIOUSLY planning on building as close to a life-sized model as possible. By that, I mean a 5 or 6 foot version of this, as long as it can still fit in my room. I'm guessing there are two ways to go about printing the parts, either having it enlarged and printed at Kinko's, or using Rasterbater to extract the parts individually, then print it out on paper and put it all together glued to poster cardboard.

Any other tips or suggestions for this? Believe me, I'm serious about this, as the EX-S model has been my favorite for years and this is a golden opportunity to fulfill a dream.

Its gonna be well over 12 in. I included a pic of it next to a 1/100 RX-178 and one with a 12 in ruler.

The 4 squares will form a cube missing 2 sides. It goes into the small square that is in the top left piece in the pdf.

for that shoulder one.. kinda hard to understand, next time put a pdf name and describe the piece. Anyways i think i know what you are talking about. There should be 2 small grey pieces (~1cm) with a fold line through it. you put the grey piece in there.

Do i cut holes for where the arms will go and fit the long square tube throught both so it sticks out both sides?
>> buurrnn
The source images are not a finished model in the first post. Here is the fully complete one with lots of pics.

For the white waist part. The smaller cube goes under for support. The one that is L shaped goes over to make it look nice.

There shouldnt be any left over pieces for the waist part. You might have missed putting some parts under each other. Dont rush when working on it... think ahead as much as possible. The arm will uses alot of those pieces that fit inside pieces.

The hole on the side of the chest is for the tube to connect the arms. I wouldnt worry bout it til you got the arms done.

Well i got a long tube left over and 2 smaller tubes all 3 are square, i think the long goes threw the arm holes, and i got a small shield shaped thing i think its for the back of the torso?

Anyone got tips/instructions on how to make the head? The provided pictures aren't sufficient for some areas.

The big round red thing didn't even fit into my indent properly.

This is frustrating and it's not supposed to be. It's supposed to be fun. )=

Do these things ever show up on eBay? I'd love to have a giant paper gundam but there's no way I'm going to build one myself..
>> buurrnn
There will be many pieces that wont fit properly. The round piece was a little tight so i just jammed it in there, but made sure it looked alright.

Later on it will be even more of a problem because you gotta put pieces around another piece.(arm and leg)

I really doubt this stuff would hit ebay because its taking so much time to make it.

See, when I tried jamming my round piece in, the paper above started bending and it didn't look all right. =\

Any tips for rolling those really thing yellow tubes for the head? I can never roll anything to that diameter...
>> buurrnn
Try using something to expand the cavity that the round thing is gonna go in. You are gonna cover it up so it should be fine.

For the yellow thing i just rolled it w/o glue until it wants to stay rolled up. Kinda like how a rolled up poster wants to stay rolled.
>> Anonymous
Do you use any tools to rule the tube? Or do you just roll with your hands, cuz when I try rolling with just my hands I find the tube isn't perfectly circular anymore.

When I'm using a thin rod, it doesn't get rolled enough...
>> buurrnn
Its pretty hard notice if its round or not because its so small. I used my hands and just rolled it as small as i can so it would keep rolled up. It will have to be rolled up smaller than its suppose to so when it unrolls it will be the right size. O yea make sure it can fit into the small yellow piece that connects to the rest of the antenna.
