Over sized costume Heero Craft
Ok, in little over a month Halloween will be here and i want to do something special this year. i need a gundum papercraft model thats simple but can be scaled correctly to my hight without looking too bad. I'm 6'2" so I'm trying to figure out what i can use and make in this short period of time... any suggestions?

Can you say "Walking paintball target"?

thats kinda the point cause i've been talking about "wearing" it and i want to make it, set it in the room during the party and then watch what happens. meanwhile i will be in another costume that hides my face. it's more of can i make it and pull it off than actually wearing it.

holy O.o i think that one will be too difficult with my skill level and time resistants. try a more simpler model if possible

You don't get it do you. YOU would be the target not the gundam.

so you want a simple one......
I would recommend the big Zaku 2 (Char's one), but since you are so tall I would go with a Tallgease II or III.

do you know a link to a Tallgease II or III model?

I found an RX 78-2 PDO model in my folders.

Uploaded here: http://www.4shared.com/file/24714214/55650e72/RX-78-2_Gundam.html

Good luck with scaling it up.

Someone post the hight of the model from the ground to the underside of the top or the shoulders of the finished model, and state the scale you printed it at. Then using a similar measurement on your body do a simple scaling calculation for the print size.

No, sorry I don't have a link or the model on my computer for any of the Tallgease models, I think I might have seen a pic of a papercraft one before.

The proportions of a Gundam and a person are very different. I tried it once. The feet are heug, and pelvis is really high, and the head is tiny.

aren't the proportions of the zakus different?

Even if you manage to scale it properly, you'll never make it in time for Halloween.
