First, make sure you have elected not to hide your file extensions (do this in control panel). Save the file to your desktop. Let's say the file is called "lurkmoar.jpg". Click on the file to select it, and then click again. The file's name should then be highlighted. Do not rename the file, but instead move the cursor to the jpg extension after the name, and replace it with rar. The comp will give you some shit about changing file extensions and files getting fucked up. Click OK as many times as necessary. Now the file should be called "lurkmoar.rar". Right click the file, and extract by your preferred method.
Of course, this is assuming you are on a PC. If you own a Mac, I can only inform you that a Remington 12-gauge over-under shotgun fits very easily in one's mouth, and the trigger pull is nice and light.
