How do I Vector Engineer /po/?
http://vectormagic.com/You get 2 free goes at it, but its worth it.
Inkscape (http://inkscape.org) haz what you needz.Just import the bitmap and convert it to vectors or vectored areas. Delete the bitmap and save it as SVG.It's Open Source Software, you not need a serialz number :-)
Newdykes, don't know about my Pepakura. Pepakura protects you from Masamune. Anything not Pepakura is crap. Pepakura is the Japanese word for papercraft.
>>197289Newdyke's bullshit!Pepakura(futo) it's just the word papercraft, just as a japanese speak it!
>>197307you got troll'd
pepakura can export to vectors
>>197338No one does it though, and it would be a "process", not real engineering.
page 10 bump
Is 3D Studio Max out of the question? Cause it can do the same thing...kinda overkill IMO
Would a program like AutoCAD work? Some texturing work would be required.
>>198968I use a copy of AutoCAD2008 I bought online. Very easy to use program, extremely short learning curve, recommended for amateurs and those with minimal computer skills.
>>198974>bought onlineDo people use the internet to buy software still?
>>198974>>198955ARE YOU ASSHOLES OR WHAT, YOU MUST USE AUTOCAD OR 3D MAX TO MAKE FIGURES ON PEPAKURA GTFO OF /PO/ IF YOU DONT EVEN KNOW THE BASICS
>>198996autocad + tailors.lsp FTW
I LOVE STICKING THINGS UP MY BUTT. JUST SO ALL OF YOU KNOW THAT.
Pepakura fucks up on vector output.
I going to try to make a pumpkin for the /pw/ contest on AutoCAD tomorrow in school. I'll let you know how it comes out, should it come out at all.
