Thankyou Anon. ^-^ I've seen some of these drifting around and wanted the diagrams for soo long. You deserve many internets.

Which one is the ancient dragon in? I've dl'ed them all, but I can't seem to find it in any.

diagrams and development history of the tree frog, western pond turtle, and koi (fish) can be found in Lang's Origami Design Secrets, which is an awesome book about developing origami models.

The pegasus, divine dragon (Bahamut, the first picture in the series), the divine boar (Inoshishigami), Kirin (the one that looks like it's made out of a kleenex), unicorn, wild yellow bird (chocobo), ancient dragon (on the clock), mamouth, and raptors (the green pair), can all be found in "Works of Satoshi Kamiya: 1995-2003)".

how do you fold 11-17 i fail at all TT___TT
>> Anonymous
>>44392
dude it sure was hard at 11-17, but if you can't get it I don't recommend you to continue it :S

look at me, i could do 11-17 but after ~50 it was like impossible! too many folds and so tiny~~

if you really want to make it .. try to do it step by step, make sure you are in 11, then 12, 13 etc.. go SLOWLY ;)

yeah, Kamiya is a pretty hardcore origami artist. Almost all of his work is at an expert level, even deceptively simple-looking ones like the chocobo.

If you're still desperate to fold it, practice doing other models first, then come back to it once you feel you're ready, is my advice. Sitting getting frustrated is no fun.

If there are too many folds, try using a larger piece of paper. If you go too small, paper thickness gets in the way and things become waaay too awkward.
