I installed the other version of pepakura that asks for a key instead of a password. The keygen worked. But, I can't use textures anymore.
..Please help. x_x

That's probably a problem of the 3D model you're using, not of Pepakura.

I hadn't thought about it that way. Could you link me to a model you don't have issues with? Just to test it.

Anyways, it's not pepakura viewer, it views and textures .pdo files fine.
What file types can it texture, I use Metaseq to do my modeling.. and also, do extra steps need to me taken, like a material applied to the object?

Like... yeah. If you open a model that doesn't have textures on it, it doesn't magically does have textures on it when you open it in Pepakura Designer... This needs to be done in the 3D software. After that, the 3D model appears exactly in Pepakura Designer as it does in your 3D software. Although Pepakura Designer 2 does have some very basic 3D functions, it's best to do all the modelling (including texturing) BEFORE you actually get to Pepakura Designer, that's just the final step.
The official website actually tells you what kind of filetypes Pepakura can open:
