I would really like somebody to make this. either the full model or just the helmet. WOLF or Chamoo232 would you consider making this?

LOL
>> Wolf
Heh... Already on it... ;) After years of searching I found a 3D model of him, & I've been hacking at it ever since... Due to the amount of organic 'curves', it alot more dificult than the ironman model...

He built it out of some chewing gum, a piece of string, and a popsicle stick.

this looks great, wolf would you make the guyver & the helmet, please?
>> Wolf
That head was done several years ago, & as far as I know, it was a one-off...
I started on the model cleanup a while back, so I can put it next in line once I finish ironman... I'll probably do the same "head first, full figure second" deal... With possibly the pod unit with the head. I don't have a 3d model of the pod, but it's simple enough I'll try modelling it myself...

This will a need A LOT of editing, WAY more even than on the Ironman model...
1) You could try doing that (nothing is impossible of course, it would just take a lot of time).
2) Or you could try to find a less-detailed-more-suited-for-papercraft-3D model. The papercraft in>>45323has a lot less detail than the 3D model you're working with, and still looks pretty kick ass. ;)
3) Or you could model one yourself, which I think is actually the best way: that way, you can anticipate the fact that you want to turn it into a paper model later. But yeah, that's not for everybody. So maybe option 2) would be the easiest. But of course, it's your model -> your choice if you want to stick with option 1) or come up with an option 4) 5) and 6) lol

Well... Somedays it seems like I'm working my ass off... Most of the time I'm just farting around... ;)

Although tonight I just put in about 6 hours working on these models I'm trying to get done & posted... :)

6 hours working on designing a papercraft, especially with so much details as this one, is nothing. 1-2 months maybe (not 24/7 of course, but a lot) and you should just be about ready to start up Pepakura for another week or 2 tweaking, then a testbuild, another week or so at the very least, seeing how difficult this model will be, then another week or so going back to Pepakura (maybe even to the 3D model) fixing stuff, readying the templates. 3 Months for a good papermodel isn't very long, IMHO.

Wolf are you still continuing to make this?

Wolf, those twenty or so papercraft projects you're working on; will they be finished when I check back here in an hour or so?
"P" in /po/ doesn't stand for patience lol
(in before "it stands for papercraft" ;)
