The full Iron Man there is pure fail, and the helmet model by itself is some Civil War version or some such shit from the comics.

Expect a wearable movie-version in a few weeks once everyone's shuffled into the theaters.

I didn't know Iron Man had downs syndrome

Is it just me, or does the new Iron Man mask resemble a middle-aged balding man?

He's got the smug, "I'm gonna fuck you up" Sam Fisher look.

Thank You.

I would love somebody to make a full body suit out of paper, just like the Halo ones.

Maybe when the game comes out, and if the models are ripped.

The Halo suit(s) were "easy" because they are either the raw game rips or modified game rips to add detail.

The problem I think would be with the seamlessness of the Ironman MKIII suit. It'd be really hard to get it right.

The model would definitely be edited. I'm willing to bet someone would go to those lengths if the models were released.

i would think you could solve that by simply leaving off the lines. most of the parts on the suit are broad natural curves, and the plates overlap in some areas, so if you didn't actually crease the surface you could proly get a good smooth look to it, and even better, use photopaper.
i think making the third suit would be nice, cuase with no creases, you would have to sculpt the suit more than fold it, which is a little more fun and interesting to me. anyone can follow crease lines and stuff, its the sculpted curves that require some thought.

The Iron Man game's out, someone should try ripping the model outta there.

First, that is not as easy as you make it sound. ;) There's the DirectX9 ripper, but the game doesn't use that, so you'd have to reverse engineer the coding of the game developers to actually write your own extracter/converter tool for it.
Most people have no clue where to start even lol...

Secondly, the model you will rip will be great for use in a game, but will make a crappy papercraft. And most people have no clue how to edit it in a smart way so it COULD be made into a nice papercraft.
But I'm sure you can get simpler Iron Man models by simpler methods.

would be cool if could build in full detail, with working control surfaces and what not, but ill keep dreaming.
