Haha, I knew there had to be a starfox thread!

Many years ago, I had a subscription to Nintendo Power. They had a special issue for subscribers only with a papercraft arwing. I cut it out and glued it together. I loved it. Then my dog ate it, and I cried. I never could find that pattern again.

Does anyone here know what pattern I'm talking about and/or maybe be able to help?

OK, now I have a stupid newbie question. I can't get the images to line up properly on opposite sides of the page and I'm wasting ink. Is there an easy way to do this that I'm missing?

If you want to find the right settings for your particular printer and print program, I'd suggest making an image with... nah, I'll make the image as an example.

Print this image on the front of a page. It should clearly mark the upper-left and upper-right limits of your printing.

Fold the page in half from side to side. The two marks should perfectly overlap (hold it up to a light). If they don't, you have a margin problem; adjust your print settings to make your printout centered. You won't waste as much ink tweaking your settings this way.

Once you have it centered, as long as you're printing images that are the same size, they also should line up perfectly.

Thanks again for all the help.

I downloaded the high-res arwing zip file with the XBAWKS HUEG *.tif scans and used photoshop to correct them so that they "should" line up perfectly on a printer that isn't off-center.

Unfortunately, I've determined that my printer is always off-center by about 2mm to the left. You would think it would be easy to correct, but nothing I've tried so far as enabled me to get an image to line up horizontally on opposite sides. Vertically, there's no problem at all.

Anyways, I'll upload the new zip file with the slightly altered images and post a link to it, so maybe someone with a better printer can make use of them.
