Does anyone have the instructions for this? It's orgasmic.

Also, are there any other diagrams of his works floating around that aren't in "Works of Satoshi Kamiya: 1995-2003" or the Tanteiden yearly convention books?

For the curious, the books I'm referring to are:

The cp for it is on his website, there are multiple versions.

I also have these pictures of someone folding the tail, but I screwed it up when I tried.

The Tanteidan magazines have a bunch of his stuff. This includes his Asiatic Elephant (An excellent, and origamically perfect fold).

Try http://www.origamidatabase.com

wish I could do that... I'd fail so hard

okay, apparently it's in "Origami Birds (Book One and Book Two)" by "LaFosse, Michael G. & Kamiya, Satoshi"

Does anyone know where you can find this? :S

This is one by La Fosse, but not sure if it has Satoshi Kamiya in it too. Probably not, but it's the only Origami book based on birds by Michael G. LaFosse.

Unfortunately you can't peek into the book. But, your guess is as good as mine anonymous.

If you're looking for the diagrams for that Phoenix (Version 3.5), you won't find them anywhere. They don't exist. If you are looking for the crease pattern, it was in the Tanteidan membership calendar a couple years ago. Tanteidan membership costs $55 in addition to the $40 Magazine substcription, but since this is old, you wouldn't get the membership. Your only real ways to obtain the CP are to scour the web, or get it from someone.

Just so you know, Tanteidan membership comes with the magazine subscription, a calendar with a crease pattern, a speical diagrams booklet (most recently being Komatsu's Giraffe. Previous diagrams have been Hojyo's Violinist, Hojyo's Icarus, Kawahata's F-1 Racecar), and you are allowed to attend the Tanteidan meetings in Japan.
