So my friend is in Japan for a little while, I want to know if/where he can get Chokipeta papercrafts to bring back.

Is it possible to get Chokipeta papercrafts in Japan, and if so, where would he find them?

Pic very related.

Did I mention that I would share them?

Chokipeta models, or at least most of them, were printed in Dengeki Cube and Dengeki DS magazines from 2002-2006. If you want to find any, you'll have to check used book/magazine stores, and if you do find any magazines, you'll be hard-pressed to find any with the papercraft still in them.

I guess he'll have to bring me back a school girl instead..

Thanks for letting me know.

Yeah, I saw a picture online where someone had the template, but you could only see half of it. I just mirrored that half, and test-built it to see if it worked. It does, and it makes his head and two arms. Just need the 2nd page and we're good. Easier said than done. :(

I emailed Chokipeta once and this is the reply I got:

"Dear ******
The papercraft of Pokemon was an appendix of a magazine. It cannot receive now. Since I am working as a pro, I have to respect a copyright. It cannot distribute freely. sorry.

chokipetaKOBO"

So the short answer is that you will probably not be able to get any Chokipeta papercraft - unless you happen to luckily stumble upon a copy of the above mentioned magazines.
