Origami Raccoon Dog Charles Bradbury
My dearest /po/, I am in a pickle. I found some Japanese site with images of finished origamis and the templates next to them.. The thing is, I have no idea how to read them. Am I supposed to fold the lines and.. do... stuff? An explanation or a Youtube vid explaining the system would be superb.

Unfortunately, some authors don't share their diagrams, and others simply give a crease pattern, and expect the folder to be able to look at it and understand how to fold them.

The templates provided in this manner also usually just bring you "close", and leave the finishing folds up to you to figure out. Not my cup of tea; I find it annoying rather than helpful.

What's the site you found; perhaps there are diagrams hidden?

That's the site alright.
I appreciate your information, though. Thanks!

The author has some diagrams at http://www.h5.dion.ne.jp/~origami/e/diagram.html

Spending some time on the English side of the site reveals that some of the models are credited, including the Raccoon Dog. Unfortunately, only Babelfish can be used to find what the credits say:

"Time paper detective group magazine 96" publication (as for inquiry to this)

Luckily, there's a link in there... to Origami Tanteidan. It must be from Tanteidan '96.

I think I love you.
Thank you so much for your assistance!
