Bleeding of colors might also have to do with the ink, as well as the glue. It's why it's best not to color the glueing flap themselves, as some designers do. Also: do not use too much glue, you're less likely to spill when you press the parts together. To work cleaner, use a strip of paper to smear a small amount of glue. Pritt is very prone to "unstick over time, and waiting over 2 minutes is annoying. I use TESA liquid hobby glue, which you need to hold for about a second (depending on how much glue you apply: like I said, don't use too much). When the glue is almost dry already, when you press the parts together, they are glued together almost instantly (while when you put lots and lots of glue on there, it will create a mess and you'll need to hold it for over two minutes, yes...)
