Hello /po/. so im planning to ask out this girl i know.. i was thinking of doing the letter "I" a heart and then the letter "U". folded from money. problem: I can fold the heart, but i havent the foggiest how to fold the letters. or any letters for that matter. so...

ITT: folding letters/numbers with money, and romantic origami ideas.

(also im in canada, so our lowest bill is a 5, and it wouldn't be very efficient to make a long message.. sigh)

shes either gong to be offended by the fact you made it with money, or unfold and spend it all. foolish idea if you ask me.

Yeah, don't make it out of money. She'll think you're telling her she's a whore. Women are nuts like that. Here, make it out of paper instead. She'll think you spent a lot of time on it, and that == putting out. Score one for /po/ my friend.

I would reconsider using money to ask a girl out. Down here in the states, if you offer a girl money when you ask her out, it has a certain connotation that... never mind. Best of luck to you.

Use ordinary paper, but write a message on each piece. Much less offensive.

I lol'd.

Anyway, if she accepts your horrifically cheesy offering then a few weeks down the line or whatever, you could fold a heart out of $20 and tell her to buy herself something nice with it. That's romantic enough but doesn't make it seem like you're buying her love.

Not just you, more people in this thread seem concerned that she might take it the wrong way, although I think/hope that most people are just joking lol: because this isn't some straight-to-the-video-stores-movie with a baaaaad script held together by cliché jokes: real life women will get that that is not what you're trying to do lol...
