Printer woes Anonymous
Hey /po/, I am working on a model and I want it to look nice and all that, so I want to print out the texture on one side of the page, then flip the paper over, send it through the printer, and have the template on the back. I tried a simple "flip horizontal" in photoshop but when it prints it doesn't align properly, it's about 15-20mm off. The printers I am using are a BJC-1000SP and a HP Laser Jet 6P if this makes a difference. Wondering if anyone has any tricks in photoshop to make this work.
Pic is taiidan repair corvette from Homeworld btw.

I've found that 99 percent of printers, even when you're using set sizes and centering, end up not quite aligning fronts and backs.

Instead of trying to print it front and back, why not have an instruction sheet with the folding instructions, and then the actual parts with no markings? Sure, it's more of a pain to put together since you have to refer back to the instructions, either printed out or still on your PC screen... but it's better than the headache of trying for a double sided printout.
