The thread to end all new n00b threads Anonymous
We need a definitive thread so people stop making "HAY IM A N00B AM I DOING THIS RIGHT" threads.

Post questions here instead of in a new thread!

Paper: Depends on the model. Stiff paper for strong structures with few folds, light paper for more complex, smaller models.

Glue: Personally, I usually use epoxy on the end of a toothpick. I don't know what the rest of the world uses.

That's really all the help I can be. Hopefully the rest of /po/ can do better for ya.

Um, yeah, I like this idea, and I need help with something.
the model pictured, I can get to step 17, but then, my brain just sorta dies, I have no idea what to do.
any help appreciated.

Oh great folders of /po/, I have a problem.
I'm creating this Cloud model, and I've got it almost done, except the torso doesn't seem to fold right. When I try to fold it, it leaves a giant hole on the left side. Even the guy down the hall, who loves papercraft, can't figure it out. Any help?

So much for being a "help thread".

exactly what I was thinking, but don't sage it just because no one's saying anything

step 17.. you're probably not even doing it anymore, but what it basically means is open out the paper, and pull out the layers of paper from the back to the front. if you're having loads of trouble try completely unwrapping that front bit and trying to make it look like the next pic, you should get it ok.
