if you use an emulator that utilizes dirext x use direct X ripper, and for a 64 game which is what i assume you are trying to rip use project 64 and be sure to get petes plugins to utilize direct x and allow geometry export, i believe i have a link to a page that will give you more in depth answers which is on my other copmuter i will post tomorrow

N64 Eva Units won't be able to compete with Inner Brain's Eva 00 and 01, or with Masamune's Eva Unit 02, unfortunately...

Smaller Evas would be awesome. Especially a Unit 01.

While Inner Brains' one is impressive, it's size reduces it's amounts of win for anyone without industrial amounts of printing ink.

actually when I printed mine out it took maybe at most about 1/5 of my cartridge.

a bunch of pieces are in black and white, and those that are in color are fairly spaced out, so ink usage is surprsingly minimal for a 50+ page document.

pic is my eva 01 in progress. Fuck the body takes a long time to build :( Thank god for xbox sized parts!

I actually liked the big size of Inner Brain's models; because they're so big, there's no small parts that are very difficult (I can't imagine doing the heads on a small model.......)
But the best part are the organic shapes and the fit: they look great and they fit together perfectly, they're very well designed, it's a real shame Inner Brain never had the chance to finish the series....
Masamune only releases Eva 02 to some of his friends, and /po/ is not one of his friends... ;)

regular paper. I don't have that much cardstock on hand, and lighter paper is a bit easier to curl. which is kind of a necessity with all those curved parts this guy has :3

Why do people use that as an argument all the time? You start noticing the difference when you're using 2 mm thick cardboard, it doesn't really make a difference if you use regular 80 gsm paper or 200 gsm cardstock...
If you curve it before actually glueing the parts together, it holds the curved shape nicely: it also buckles less easy when you try to hold the final model at the curved parts.
The only reason you should use regular paper is:
a) you just don't have access to cardstock (good reason).
b) it's cheaper than cardstock (another good reason).
Other than that, you can do anything with cardstock that you can do with regular paper: curve it, fold small parts...
