I just finished this. It's a little over 60cm from the bottom of the handle to the tip of the spike and it's the first papercraft I've made that took more than one sitting to complete (this took 2, one for the blade and one for the handle).

What I'm wondering is, would anyone be willing to make me a template for some kind of stand for it?

Wow, a thread on /po/ that needs to be bumped the same day it was posted... amazing.

no, it doesnt. just because its not on the first page doesnt mean it needs to be bumped.

No, what he meant was so many posts have been made today it actually required a bump. That's what was amazing.

Disregard that, I suck cocks. I saw the two different days and put two and two together so I thought...

and most of the time yes, in one day a thread will move off the first page. but that does NOT mean you need to bump it the second it goes off the first page. why? because theres a lot of pages. and people dont just read the first one, unless they are stupid.

Yeah yeah, I thought it was a little bit over 24 hours, when it was just two, so I'm stupid for that.

...Back on topic; who wants to make me a stand? =D

What it the diameter of the handle? Do you want it to be a vertical or horizontal stand? Coat of arms style wall hanger? Or a desk/mantle stand?

If I just make one to taste, if you do not like it, I will have wasted my time and you'll probably get all whiny - so I would want to be DAMN SURE of what you wanted before trying to make it for you.

The handle is 19mm in diameter. I only want to show one side of it because the other side has all the joins etc on it, so I was thinking I want to hang it on the wall vertically.

I can draw something up of what I had in mind and provide more measurements when I get home tonight.

I would of course make the stand myself, but I'm not all that good with SketchUp and I honestly don't think it's possible to do freehand.

Cheers.
