Will someone on /po/ mind Unfolding these in pepakura for me, I'm stuck at work. Please set them up for 8 1/2, 11 paper. Also I think the Scale is messed up. The Chainsword should be about 2 - 2 1/2 feet long and the Bolt Pistol should be about 10in from the tip of the barrel to the back of the gun.

Anyone have a suggestion for the next 40k weapons I should make?

I unfolded the bolt pistol, so it will be 254 mm? i resized all the shit up and it doesn't fit on the pages :c

forgot the pic
sorry

If you want them to be "life sized", the parts won't fit on one page. You will have to cut them up in the 3D model, because Pepakura can't "unjoin" parts if there is no edge that attaches them.
I never tried what happens if you just print it with parts spanning multiple pages: does it print everything, or do you miss a part because of printer margins?
If it prints everything despite printer margins, you can just print it as it is and glue/tape the parts that got cut up back together.

OP here... I found the time to install Pep on my work pc (which i will probly eat shit for some other day). Here is the Bolt Pistol sized to 10in, and spit up onto 11 8.5 by 11in sheets.

The Layout is terrible but I will mess with that after I try a test build.

OH yeah.... ha ha..... I kinda left the flap length way too long. you might wanna tune that down a bit.

FYI, Pepakura works just fine when run from flash drive.
Smarter than getting yelled at for.

Just /rs/ the regular version. You don't need a specific version of the installer to put it on a flash drive. It installs all on the flash drive either way.

So with all talk of who installed what where settled. has anyone gotten started on the pistol? Pix Plox, I'd love to see how the build looks.

I'd rather the Chainsword.

Alright I'll see if I can get the chainsword to fit into a reasonable page layout. The huge flat surfaces are a bitch. but iff all else fails I can scale it down to less than realistic size.

Alright so here is the Pepakura file with the chainsword broken down into 2 pieces. Everything you need to build it is there. The bad is that the layout is terrible. the unfolding process went apeshit and made far to many small pieces. If someone wants to join a few edges and and repost we will all worship you.

Anybody working on this?

That bolt pistol looks a bit odd. Like the proportions are off or something.

This one looks better but I know nothing about using sketchup.

I think the proportional difference between the two models has to do with the pattern of the pistol. The OP Model is scaled with a human sized grip (IE Imperial Guard). It looks out of proportion because it is, A bolt pistol is about the size of a full grown man's forearm and fires bullets the size of a Coke can. If you took the second Pistol and sized it 1:1 The grip would be in proportion to the gun but you wouldn't be able to get your and around it, Unless you we're a 9ft tall space marine.

It's not the handgrip the barrel looks odd. I just think the other one is a better looking model, almost like it's from the same person who did the bolter recently.

This ones not mine. I only edited the Bolter, it was found at Google Warehouse by an Anon here, I designed the shadowbox for it though. It looks like this Anon quite possibly got these from there as well, I could be wrong though.

The barrel looks the same size as on a bolter, it should be a bit shorter and not as big a circumference.
