Once and for all:

You can get any of his templates, any of them! if you just email him and ask. He will send you a blank template for you to color or design on, and ask that you email the finished design back to him. He'll then send you a template with YOUR design on it, build it himself, and add it to his site.

You'll end up with a blank template of the model you want AND a template with your design on it. ALl JUST FOR SENDING SHIN AN EMAIL! Stop being lazy people.

I've read up about that on his site. I think I would like to try at least making one design for one of his papercrafts. He's giving out templates for 3 now via email. I think they're T-Boy, Gritty, and Spiky.

According to the website, it sounds like the template is the property of Mr. Tanaka, and the design is the property of the designer, so it's a collaboration that these two people can do what they want to with it. I would probably put it on /po/ once and then move on to designing something else.
