Lucky Stars and Crane Eggs Engel
So, while shopping online for some nice paper to make itty bitty lucky stars out of, I came across paper meant for something called a "crane's egg". It's apparently similar to lucky stars except it's egg shaped (somewhat triangular) and made from slightly wider and shorter paper. I searched around for a free pattern to make crane's eggs, but couldn't seem to find one. Help? In return, instructions for folding lucky stars.

Patience, my friend.
/po/ is the slowest board out there. Check back in a day and you usually have an answer.

first you pre-fold (steps 1-8) not unlike a paper football. Then you follow steps 10-12 to make it a tetrahedron-like 3d shape, basically rolling it around itself and tucking in the tail.
