Hey, /po/

Assuming this pattern originated from somewhere like here, I was wondering if anyone has the printable model?

Seeing as that's me in OP...and I patterned these...

I have the .pdo's hosted up on a different RS link, but the 405th is down currently for some reason.

I'll put them back up tomorrow (sleep) if the site doesn't come back up...or if someone does it before me.

kind of too much smooth... looks like caricature helmet...rather than a serious one

what'd you do to the visor so you can see out of it? I have the guy helmet and am trying to figure out a way to use my eyes

actualy in general how'd you reinforce the helmet?

for the eyes, theres this material that pros use on stuff like kamen rider masks and sentai ranger masks that works. its like a tinted thin plastic material, forgot what its called

hehe you look as powerrangers !@ :D

For my visor, it's just plexi cut and heat shaped into the curve, with 5% auto tint. For Guy, I would suggest looking into vacuum forming pre-tinted acrylic plastic...it's def not an easy one to make.

Is there a colored version of this?
>> Anonymous
hm, well it doesn't have to be a plasitc, would you think cloth would work? (once i figure out how to support it with the mask's frame)

uhm no you didnt, unless you mean you fixed 20xx's model so i could then unfold it.
i made the thomas helmet and the (crappier) version of guymans from models that 20xx made
i say crappier cuz he made a better model but i was too lazy to unfold.
and idk if somone else did it.
btw, blocked link was original upload i made, like a year ago. thats why its dead

and holy fucking shit, good job :D>>195543

I don't like using the cloth, it completely removes sharp edges. I normally use resin and a few layers of bondo
