Rudimentary lurking has yielded nothing, though it should be noted that I don't really know anywhere to lurk other than Google, Rapidsearch, and this board. Anyway...

Anyone know of any Final Fantasy XII papercraft? Anything would be excellent.

Pretty sure there's a Fran.

It was made once by Deeper-Shade/Tar Valon, the guy who also made the Metroid Morph Ball.
But when /po/ had some remarks about how it wasn't the most epic papercraft ever constructed on the face of the planet, the guy went crazy and removed it. Maybe somebody saved it, I haven't.

Just checked my computer. I didn't save it either. It's been over a year since I've seen it on /po/

I didn't know that. That's kind of lame of him.
Back up onto the internet it goes then!

OP here: Thanks for the timely effort fellows. This Fran looks good. Lots of small pieces, but that should make for an interesting build. I don't imagine obtaining 3D models from the game would be easy, given it was never on PC. Anyone know of methods to do that?

any pics of the finished model?

OP again: Slightly unrelated topic, but I hate to start a new thread to ask a simple question.

Is there any way to load a pdf of an unfolded project into Pepakura, or any way to turn the pdf into a 3D model? I'd like to scale up some stuff, but I hate to do it the hard way, by loading the pdf into Photoshop and moving double sized pieces around until they fit nicely on single pages. Is there any reliable way to scale something up, short of taking it to a profesisonal print shop?

I can't help you with the resizing, but I can tell you that turning a PDF into a 3D model can't be done.

I figured as much, just thought I'd see if anyone knew anything I didn't before going down the hard road in Photoshop manually. (So far it's actually turning out half decent)
