>>160198 My boyfriend (not a papercrafter) brags about having a girlfriend who has the hand-eye coordination to put together pieces of paper into complicated 3D shapes. (insert appropriate derogatory remark and excessive winking) However, he will never be interested in doing that sort of thing himself, and that's fine.
What your hobbies are shouldn't matter. You also shouldn't expect them to automatically like you just because they happen to share a hobby. That's not by necessity a good foundation for a relationship. Probably makes for some good introductions and small talk, but that's about it.
If you're really shy, that has nothing to do with papercraft. Work up the nerve to talk to him about it or GTFO. It's not as if we can do it for you. If you feel compelled to present some sort of pc for the sake of introducing yourself, you would know what to get him better than the rest of us would.
Conversely, if you find out that they're actually fervently opposed to your hobbies, then you need to decide if it's worth the effort to try to get them to understand why you like your hobby, or to just give them the axe and find someone who isn't going to be a roadblock.
That having been said, these threads are fucking pointless. Yeah, it's great that you want to share your hobby or see it as a way to expand your social horizons. That doesn't mean we have the magical papercraft relationship button.s
