Dear /po/

I am going to a craft store today to buy supplies. All I have been using so far is scissors and clear tape. Here is my current list:

Paper crease tool
Exacto knive
Cutting board with rulers
Tweezers
Glue
Printer Ink
Paper

What should I add\remove? What is the best kind of paper and glue to get? Should I bother with any kind of tape?

Tape: DON'T BOTHER
Glue: Elmer's Glue is fine, but some people recommend Tacky Glue
Paper: 110lb. cardstock is recommended, but it will leave big white lines on the smaller models, so if you don't mind that, go with a thinner cardstock. Regular printer paper is ok for beginners, but models don't last as long, they sag, and colors might not be as sharp.

Add some whiteout (liquid paper) to your list. Rarely used, but it comes in handy.

I mean, if you do mind white lines, go with a thinner cardstock.

WHAT?
Tape is the easiest to use. I use it whenever I can [i.e. on places it's not seen, such as bases and inside parts].
in b4 BUT BUT TAYP IS CHITING LOL

Paper crease tool? Scratch that, grab a food knife that's really dull or just anything that's sharp but not cutting [nail cleaner included].
And rulers on a cutting board is just overdoing it, you're not gonna see past the paper anyway. If you don't have any at home, buy a normal ruler and get a normal cheap wood board.

I'm not getting a wooden cutting board. those are for cooking. Craft boards are made of clear flexible plastic or similar.

I'm getting the ruled board. I don't want to damage my desk and the guides will be helpful to square things.

I wish for MM measurements but not in Amreifag land)

You don't really need a crease tool. Just something like a dull knife. Even your fingers will work if you spend some time practicing.

I don't know, it's more expensive, more clunky, and it runs out quicker than glue.

And for a good crease tool, if you want blazing fast accuracy, a mechanical pencil with no lead works wonders. You're as fast as your fingers allow you. I found it's easier to do that dull knives, etc,
