Does anyone have papercrafts of Chaos Space Marine vehicles?
Looking for a papercraft Chaos Rhino to be precise.

Had no luck so far.

Yes, both are paper. Well most of it. The guy did add some plastic parts, and the reason why you're all like "ZOMG!! CAN'T BELIEVE THAT'S PAPER!!" is because it's scratchbuilt (so no templates to download) and it's been painted and textured by what I can only call an artist.

The only paper templates for a Warhammer Rhino I could find are at http://www.geocities.com/Area51/3097/40k/bilespage.htm
and to be honest: those look like shit. I mean it. Seriously. Sorry that I showed you the other ones first... ;o)

warhammer 40k papercraft is a bit rare because GW doesn't like you not buying their $50 tanks

not that it's not common, it's just not legal

so there's no affordable way to play this game?

There actually is an affordable way to play, you use a pure Tzeentch chaos space marine army, each guy costs 24 PTS a pop and your leaders of each squad get to become sorcerers, so that means a squad of 8 marines cost you well over 192(the cost of 8 teentch CSMs, then you add points for the sorcerer and his equipment) points!

...Hey, you asked for an affordable way to play, not cheap

err... well, cheaper way to play, just not a good army

when i said affordable, I was talking money wise.

Other than using these "illegal" papercrafts, you´ll probably get away cheap by discarding the tabletop game and get a cheap copy of Dawn of War from ebay.

thanks for the links

I fail to see how making a papercraft of a model is illegal...at least any more so than fan art of a series. it's not like you're selling them...

illegal means that its not standard to play for the actual game. You can get by playing with friends but if you are going into tournament play or more hardcore players you may not be able to use it.

Its not THAT expensive, get a job you guys. A playable army of space marines should cost about 70-80 bucks. And you never really buy a whole army at once, you just start off with a couple squads and an HQ and expand on that as you can afford it.

Not to say that paper modeling is a bad idea, the game does encourage customizing models, just look at all the white dwarf and black gobbo stuff.
