Please don't do this error! The tunnel of papercrafting it's very hard to leave! Don't listen to those 'I just give up when I want!' /po/eple!

For real: Just start from something you really care to build, but choose a not so long work!
Let's say a 2-3 pages but good looking model it's ok to start, it'll be not so hard to complete and it will stimulate you to continue!

My first craft was the Sunloft Raccoon dog (attached). Its difficulty was listed as 5/10, I don't remember having too much trouble with it. Sunloft has loads of great simple papercrafts for beginners, you should check 'em out at http://contents.kids.yahoo.co.jp/papercraft/craft/01.html

Lol.
Papercrafting is addictive. If you're an art student, you can use it to your advantage. There just aren't enough people making paper sculptures for museums. Yes, there are a few. I've probably seen about 10 or so in the last 3 years, but compare that to the number of people putting drawings, paintings, or photography in museums. There's so much room for another paper sculptor.

122 pages of free models, and with a displayed difficulty level. That should get you going at least.

..... find something you like, and do it.
Google is your friend.

If you REALLY want a site that has a mix of beginner's projects through expert, with clear instructions, google Canon Papercraft.
