Mushroom Pixel-Kakashi
Hey there /po/!!!

This is my first contribution to /po/

I'm not a good modeler, neither I'm good with textures, but come on, it only took me about 6 minutes.

The small one on the picture was my test build, and the second, bigger one was just for fun.
>> Red Mushroom Pixel-Kakashi
4chan wont let me upload the .pdf so I uploaded it to my server

http://tinyurl.com/24pvgu

This one is for the big red mushroom.
>> Green Mushroom Pixel-Kakashi
And here's the template for a green version of the big mushroom.

If you want a smaller version of either post your request, 'cause when I try to open the .pdo file pepakura crashes, so if I want to modify something I have to re-unfold the model again.

wow... i want that mask :S

Ooh, nice shrooms! And thanks for revealing the location of a nice Kistune mask; I've been searching for one for a festival, and that's perfect!
>> Anonymous
can someone post the kitsune mask model. the program doesn't work for macs.

You'll need to dissect the sheets and print them at full-page, but that shouldn't be very difficult, right?

i'll be laughing at you when your computer is dying of viruses

Here's a .pdf version.

HAHAHAHAHA have fun waiting for that.

Being a big Zelda freak, I made one, and modded one into a Keaton mask [still called "Kitsune [no kamen]" in the Japanese version, though]
Sorry, no temp; it was modified AFTER printing.
And, I didn't fold.
Just tucked. XD;;;;
>> Anonymous
>>47099
can you post the template to the Keaton mask please?
>> Nova Greensocks
>>47112
You're not very good when it comes to paying attention, are you? XD
>> Anonymous
>>47114
no not really, especially when it comes to zelda, i read half the thing and didnt see the rest, my bad :-P
>> Nova Greensocks
>>47119
No problem! But I'm sure someone could modify the Kitsune template in the program itself. Just not me XD

However, if I can get the hang of ripping and crafting, I'll post all of the masks in both games XD
>> Anonymous
>>47120
O.O i would love you forever if you did that lol. i'll try modifying the kitsune to the keaton in paint, its the only program i have :-P
>> Nova Greensocks
>>47123
I didn't want to waste ink; I printed the model without the texture, and then I extended the ears and lightly applied a coat of yellow paint [where I could still see the folding lines]
Then I let it dry, used a black marker for the details, let THAT dry, assembled, and used a coat of spray-on gloss like I did when I made Ninjatoes' Majora's Mask model [slightly above] lifesize XD
>> Anonymous
>>47124
that sounds like a long process...
>> Nova Greensocks
>>47127
Not really. I just colored it myself instead of using lots of yellow ink, and drew on the black parts. The rest is normal papercrafting [given that, again, I finished mine with that spray-on gloss]
>> Pixel-Kakashi

Here's a lame edit
>> Nova Greensocks
>>47129
That's actually nice! Ears are rather short, but it still screams "Keaton" XD
>> Pixel-Kakashi
     File :-(, x)
And here is in black and white, to be printed on yellow paper.
>> Nova Greensocks
>>47131
DUDE, I was just about to ask for that XD;;;;
It's a bit hard to tell where exactly the tabs end, though. Guess it wouldn't be all too difficult when actually assembling, though!
>> Pixel-Kakashi

Here's one with bigger ears
>> Nova Greensocks
>>47137
Yay X3

Now, if I could just figure out how to extract and import those textures, I could make crafts of all the masks in OoT and MM... But alas, I still haven't got the hang of it [although I can grab the blank masks, if that made any sense XD]
>> Pixel-Kakashi
>>47135
You can use the original one as a reference for the tabs, it's not that hard.
>> Anonymous
is the kitsune mask in the Japanese or the English gallery?
>> Anonymous
>>47187
check both and find many other nice papercrafts you may also want to build while searching
>> Anonymous
>>47189
ahhh

where are these "galleries"??
>> Anonymous

http://www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en/gallery/galleryindex.html
Click "Go To Gallery" for English gallery, or "Japanese User's Gallery" for Japanese gallery
The works are uploaded as pdo files, so you'll need the free Pepakura Viewer from the site: http://www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en/

This is my first papercraft. My printer had next to no black ink, and no color left, so I was left with 3 sheets of regular printer paper. Went over the black parts with a sharpie, painted it with red acrylic, and put it together with scotch tape. Terrible, but decent.

Here's an other kitsune mask.
If someone could post pix about the completed mask, it would be great.
>> Nova Greensocks
>>47594
That mask looks more like a Nogitsune than a Kitsune. It also looks rather small to be used as an actual mask... Could it be scaled up?
>> Anonymous
>>47596
Wow, I didn't know about Nogitsunes. I'm researching a bit about them. I will try to print this at work on an A3 paper.
>> Nova Greensocks
>>47598
Yeah, I've studied all about fox legends. The only big difference is that Kitsunes are generally friendly and helpful [and have nice faces], while Nogitsunes are mean and sometimes evil [with angry faces].
>> Pixel-Kakashi
>>47594
Actually , the mask is from this model>>47600
>> Nova Greensocks
>>47602
Ah, that would explain the whole scaling thing XD
The mask itself still looks like a Nogitsune to me, though.
>> Anonymous
Nice 'shroom. And, uhh, wicked kitsune mask too.
>> Anonymous
the masks is tiny, its smaller then my hand, can some one make a bigger version? i'm bad at scaling
>> Pixel-Kakashi
If you want here are the .pdo files for both shrooms
