Don't forget to use the /po/chives. Yes, I know it's not your job to contribute, but if you do, it will make things easier for everyone.

I'll write a guide on how to use this since many seem to be confused. I'll also try to add some Ninjatoes papercraft. For artists such as ninjatoes and Chokipeta, I'll create a hub where all their models will be displayed.

Well maybe if it were easier to use, people would be more inclined to use it -
ie:
-fill in information
-upoload image
-click browse; find file; upload!

I think it's great to make an archive of papercrafts that are hard to find or that don't have a website of their own.
But Ninjatoes does have a website of his own and he frequently visits /po/ so please don't piss him off, will you??

Chokipeta does not however

Why would it piss him off if I put his models on the wiki? I don't want ninjatoes to get mad, but I do want as many papercraft and origami models on the wiki as possible.

Chokipeta has a website, but you can't download his models there: they're often very hard to find and since Chokipeta already got paid when he finished his work lol...
But Ninjatoes doesn't get paid, he does this for fun, and what you're doing is basically driving people away from his own website: if they can download what they want from your place when they find it first, they won't go visit Ninjatoe's own website. That's how it works, and 4Chan knows it. ;) I agree Ninjatoe's work should be in any /po/ archive, but I would just place a picture and a link to where you can download it. And I would do that with any active designer that has his own website. Like I said, I see an archive as a place to back up difficult to obtain papercrafts, where no active website exists.

There's a difference between someone supporting a great current designer like ninjatoes by linking to his website and a troll.

But you should know what a troll is, eh?

yep. And why the fucking hell do we care about any designer. Let's fuck masamune and chokipeta, we just fucked krauser, let's do ninjatoes next. Post what and how you like Anonymous and ignore these inbred assclown namedykes. This in the internet!

Well, to put it in perspective:

The Webdude gets pissed when you put his models on rapidshare, thus driving away hits to his site.

Ninjatoes puts his models on rapidshare as he releases them.

But just to be safe, I'd ask first. :)

>>128627Ninjatoes puts his models on rapidshare as he releases them.

Old /po/eple know he did that for us: he was running out of webspace because he made so many models so he put not all but some of his models on a server with limited bandwidth and he used to have sitx files which are smaller than zip files so the bandwidth didn't run out as quickly. But /po/ complained that they didn't want to have to download Stuffit and NinjaToes read that and he made two versions: direct links but if those don't work, he also made rapidshares in zip form. I think he won't get mad if you just have one or two papercrafts on your site, but I wouldn't take all his papercrafts, just link to where you can get them and everybody's happy.

or maybe host the model on the wiki, but place a link to his website on the model's page.
>> Anonymous
I only host the files that I can't find links to. The wiki only has a limited space, so of course I'm going to link all the models on the wiki to their respective pages.
I don't see how that will drive traffic away. If anything, it might increase traffic and eat up ninjatoes' bandwidth too fast.

Just fucking post the models. They gave em out for free so we can do whatever we want with them. All this cardmodels.net trolling, just GTFO
