Type of Glue Anonymous
What type of glue do you use for your papercraft?

Basically the same as what your pic shows, but not that brand. It does make the paper a bit soggy, but it's easy to work with and is flexible when it dries.

I use Elmer's clear glue stick. Quick drying and easy to apply.

mines called Zip Dry paper glue, but it says DANGER EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE, which makes me question why is it used for paper...

well paper ain't fire, is it?
>> Pepa Craft
lol, for those who wish to set fire to their papercrafts ^_^
and for those who don't, the paper from the paper craft is burnt, leaving the 'craft' or the places where you put the glue

The only glue I've ever tried.
>> KidIron
I'm currently using a ten year-old bottle of Elmer's Wood Glue. It has a yellow tint to it and it doesn't dry clear, so stay away.
I really need to buy something else. [But I'm so lazy!]

Zip Dry.

I got tired of holding the paper for 130 seconds waiting for the Elmer's to dry, which sucks anyways.

I friggin' love Zip Dry.

You really use white glue?
I must suck at this then, I'll accidentally get glue on my papercraft and it'll completely ruin the colour.
...
Maybe I just have crappy printouts...

I just use regular glue.

<------But has anybody ever used this glue roller stuff?

It might buy it sometime, since it looks really easy to use.

Might be nice to glue photos in a potoalbum, but not so useful when you have to glue seperate glueing flaps. Stick with bottles.

Bleeding of colors might also have to do with the ink, as well as the glue. It's why it's best not to color the glueing flap themselves, as some designers do. Also: do not use too much glue, you're less likely to spill when you press the parts together. To work cleaner, use a strip of paper to smear a small amount of glue.
Pritt is very prone to "unstick over time, and waiting over 2 minutes is annoying. I use TESA liquid hobby glue, which you need to hold for about a second (depending on how much glue you apply: like I said, don't use too much). When the glue is almost dry already, when you press the parts together, they are glued together almost instantly (while when you put lots and lots of glue on there, it will create a mess and you'll need to hold it for over two minutes, yes...)
