Hi, I'm new to this, and I'm having one major problem.. GLUING the pieces together.... so, this led me to this question... exactly WHAT type of glue do you recommend for papercrafts?
>> Fiona
I swear by wood glue, others will say UHU office glue pens. One or the other is good.
Try both, see what you prefer.

The one I've done till now was with wood glue.. But I had trouble with covering the entire part to be glued... I put small quantities of glue on a piece of paper, then using a clip, i would ''grab'' it and splash it on the part to be glued.... >_<
I'm the TC btw =P

i use a glue called tacky glue
you can find it at a crqaft store or walmart
then i apply it with a toothpick
and use tweezers to press the paper together
less finger print glue marks that way ;)

there is actual "paper glue" that you can find any any big art store. It holds tight and stiffens the paper. Can cause a bit (a BIT) of discoloration if you put on too much.
>> Elmers
Elmers Glue All.. Been using for 20+ years and no yellowing and all bonds and seems are still tight

I would recommend any all purpose white glue, like Elmer's or Aleene's tacky glue. Others that I have not used but know would work really nicely are what Fiona said earlier, wood glue and UHU office glue pens. I usually reserve UHU glue for the higher artist quality stuff I do as an art major.

Nice OP pic. It really grabs my attention.

I use elmer's, and have been, but I actually use a pair of needle nose pliers when I can to hold tabs together lol, I should start using tweezers, to avoid the ridges caused by the grip grooves in the pliers
