Since the Gungrave Replica thread is no longer bumping, I'll make a new one.

So, I have all of the pieces (minus the last 2 pages) cut out and built. So, I was testing all of the parts to make sure I didn't mess anything up, when I noticed this (see image).
Anyone know how the hell this is supposed to work?

Notice the red piece only has a hole on the bottom, but at the same time the sample image shows the green piece obviously inside of it. I thought maybe it went the other way, but I don't think that is right, since the sample images also show the red piece overlapping the bottom barrel. The iamge also may, or may not show the red piece overlapping the upper barrel as well - although the rear end is overlapping, I honestly can't tell for the front. Even so, with the piece given in the .pdf, it could only overlap one side, the bottom, without looking very akward.

I don't know what I'm going to do at the moment, I was hoping maybe one of the other /po/eople who are working on it figured it out.

I actually found a use for this one <--
>> Anonymous
what makes you think that the hole goes on the bottom?
>> Anonymous
Haven't built it myself, but I agree: maybe you put the red part upside down? And the "stem" of the green part goes through the hole in the red part?
Has anybody finished it yet?
>> Anonymous
well i replied earlier but it seems it didnt go through and i couldnt post the gif of the gun moving because duplicate blah blah blah, and yes i believe you put it upside down because that green part is the part of the top barrel that stays still as the top moves back

Well, since it obviously isn't going to work facing down, I'm trying it upwards, but it just honestly doesn't look correct. The red piece is wider than the lower barrel, and the green piece is slightly wider than the red piece. Or at least that's how it is now that I've cut them out and made them. Maybe I didn't cut them right. I don't know.
Probably would have been better to have both sides overlap. Just too unnatural this way.

hey where does part 58 (and the other parts on that page) go, im kind of confused because its the cross shape but it looks like it folds and is only half
>> Anonymous
it would be great if someone could label which parts are what on a picture of the gun, that would help tremendously

I see what you mean about how it looks as if it should overlap on the bottom, but these instructions do have the green piece going through that hole in the red.

If you have the .hwp viewer, here's the entire instructions:

Does anyone know where piece no. 14 goes? I'm up to about 35 now, and it's still kicking around being nothing in particular.

Also, what's the point in the tiiiiiny strips that come with the cross-screwheads?

Spoilers, you glue them onto the screws.

And I'm pretty sure number 14 is the piece on the back.
>> Anonymous
yes 14 is the rear sight, and also where can i find a hwp viewer, google has failed me
>> Anonymous
also wtf is piece 15

Argh, why couldn't this be on another website? MegaUpload won't let me download for another 433 minutes.

Amazing. If people had the instructions in Korean, why didn't they post it already. -_-;

... Oh wait. I opened it, and seriously, it has no instructions on it. Seriously.

Change extension to *rar, etc.

Tell me, was it just me, or does piece #54 come a bit short of the tip of the lower barrel when attached and glued? I have about a centimeter gap between them and it's pissing me off.
>> Anonymous
yeah i get a gap too, but about half a centimeter. i haven't glued it down yet so i reprinted piece 54 and i'm planning on changing it myself so that it fits.

I'll suck someone's e-cock for the template of this.

actually, rather than extending 54, i've decided to extend the jutting out part on the lower part. even though rebuilding the entire part will be a total bitch, it'll be easier overall.
>> Anonymous
would you make a template of the modified piece?
>> Anonymous
i dunno what you guys are talking about, it fits fine on mine....
>> Anonymous
also you might have set your print to auto scale and rotate to fit, which can sometimes lead to different sized parts (my light from death note has hair that is to large and it looks like hes wearing a helmet of some sort
