i want to spray this(samuel L jackson stencil, duplicate file) stencil onto my Halloween costume, but it looks like a lot of specific cutting. how would i get such precise lines/cuts. im using a razor box cutter on 110 lb cardstock.ITT. stencil and spray tips
take your time, cut slowly and carefully. either that or get a craft knife/scalpel and do the same. thicker card will cope with the narrow bits better aswell.
Mad skillz, that's how its done. All joking aside though, I use a regular (rusted) razor blade box cutter on 110 paper and it works just fine. You have to cut slowly and watch closely what you're doing
i cut using plastic. that crap for screenprinting i forget the name but its cheap and easier to cut than cardstock.
ALWAYS cut towards you.Turn the paper - not the blade. And sometimes it is easier to cut the Bulk out and then focus on the details.Spray away from the edges.- Alternately spray from a distance but cover what ever you don't want paint on.When spraying, don't go overboard coz it will leak/run.Use a pen knife (X-acto). $5 and well worth it.
