wood glue? lectricity
http://www.yamaha-motor.co.jp/global/entertainment/papercraft/howto/index.html

here's a video tutorial on papercraft where it says wood glue is best for papercraft. is anyone actually using wood glue?

i myself use standard paper glue, though i'm not entirely satisfied - it causes color changes and sometimes breaks down after a while (i've been gluing and regluing neneko's hand more times than i want to remember).

i was thinking about that too.
since i haven't started doing papercrafts, i also wanna know wich kind of paper you all actually use. normal sheet looks pretty weak, at first sight.

Ive been using white glue without too much problems. For paper i use matte photo paper. which is usually around 45 lb vs normal paper's 20 lb. Problem is that you gotta use tweezers to fold the edges or they are gonna look bad.

Despite what you may think, normal computer paper is strong enough for most projects. I have completed several projects using the cheapest paper available at Staples, and they are doing fine.

I really depends on what you are planning to build. When using regular paper on a piece that is large like a long tube or something it will tend to collapse. Right now ive only use heavy paper to avoid problems.

really depends on what you're building. when you have big pieces you'd probably want to use a bit harder/heavier paper, but usually normal paper is good enough. move on to heavier when you know what you're doing.

now, anyone have anything on wood glue, or will i have to go out any buy a bottle...

woodglue is strong, but you only need to use a very thin smear of it, otherwise the paper will warp as it dries. being wawter-based it can also cause colour to run.
