score the dotted lines with the tip of a mechanic pencil or something, then use it to help youwhile opening slowly each fold. that's all I can say to help you.

http://www.page.sannet.ne.jp/jun_m/index-eng.html This page used to have Tenkai, a 3D papercraft modeler like Pepakura Designer, but it is no longer offered on the site. I think he got to sell it to Tama Software. There's a 3D Card Maker on the site for free, though, so if anyone is interested in making papercraft like these, then this would be a nice, free program to use. I think it only works on pc.

we need more like this these are hot

http://borocon-hnct.hp.infoseek.co.jp/tenkai.exe Nevermind, Tenkai is still online, though not in completely legal terms. And I looked back at the website of the person who created it and the 3d card modeler, and sure enough, he said himself that Tama Software bought Tenkai and repackaged it as Pepakura Designer. Tenkai is what SonicTeam used for their papercraft templates.

I don't know about you folks, but the program crashed twice out of the three times I used it when I was rotating one of the pre-loaded models. Crashed as in 'let's restart the computer with the reset button' crash, too.
