AWESOME thanks
>> Chrono-fox
Wow, thank you very much.
I'm sorry that my plans fell through.

Epic. Truly epic. Both the head alone and the entire EVA-01. Clear, easy to follow instructions, even though they're in Japanese.

To boot, on Rapidshare, so we can yell at people to search /rs/ or rapidsearch.yi.org if they want it in the future.

I'm not an EVA fan. In fact, I hate the series. Thing is, I know enough folks who are crazy over the series. I'll definitely be making a few of these...

Can someone make a more printer friendly version?
>> Anonymous
>>93276
That would take a LOT of work... and considering how many pages there are to begin with, I don't think the amount of ink saved by removing decorative borders that also serve as piece numbers, plus show join edges, would justify the work. Just don't print the instruction pages, and read them off the computer as you're putting the parts together.

This is awesome as. OP, you are a winrar.

Does anybody know how tall this actually stands? In comparison to the 50 page Eva01 model floating around, is this one bigger or smaller?

I am guessing smaller because it has less pages but on the fourth page it says spec and then has some measurements.

what's the rocket in the OP pic... it seems like the russian saturn v counterpart, the one they were testing in the sixties for the lunar space race

I've been lurking for a while, and was glad to help out. Jim, the owner of www.papermodelworld.net, bought the EVA in quantity, and announced it on another board, so I was able to buy more cheaply than ordering a single from Amazon Japan.
>> oldguy
Yes, the rocket is the N-1, Soviet counterpart to the Saturn V. Got it from
http://www.currell.net/models/mod_free.htm
Currell's models are beautifully engineered.

Would I be able to buy a copy from as well?
>> oldguy
Contact James Coffey at

papermodelword@gmail.com,

and see if he has any left.
Yeah, it's not exactly printer friendly; it might be worth $19 plus shipping to buy your own.

Anonymous, you may be using an older version of Acrobat. When I created the file, to minimize size, I chose to make it compatible with a later version of Acrobat Reader. AR 5 might work, AR 7 for sure.
