>>28418Also, how would you like to see others taking credit (and money) for something you've worked hard for? That actually happened on E-bay, where some of my own free models were being sold, but I'm not losing money, so what? I felt more sorry for the people that bought them when they could have gotten them for free.
>>28418Chances are, people would want to buy the original from the actual reputable seller than someone unknown in China. No, they would buy it from the place where it's cheapest (if they don't care enough about Trader Sam to make a small donation, why would they care enough to buy it from TS instead of the pirate??). And cheapest would be 'for free'. That way you would be sure when people just look at the prices, they would go to you and not to the pirate. If you just want to fight the pirate out of principle, that would be the way to go. But obviously, it's a matter of making money. That's something TS should decide on his own, but then just say you need money to pay for bandwidth and that's why you want to charge model for your work. You see, I'm not 'mad' at him for him wanting to make money with his paper models, if I am 'mad' at him, it's for him trying to lie to us claiming he has no other choice because of this pirate...
>>28418There might be a big chance Disney might go after him for making Disney related products without proper royalties. If Disney decides to do that, you *probably* wouldn't be able to make enough money selling paper models to pay for the royalties...
>>28418This is the USA, you're supposed to fling money around like dung. Internet does not equal USA?? And why would I want to act like I can buy everything with money?? I'm the guy wanting everything for free, remember?? What, because it's 'the American way'?? You'll have to do way better than that to convince me...
So basically, I think your arguments are a whole lot of bullshit that don't make any sense...
