Wow. If you're a *beginner* at origami, you are NOT ready for this one.

Hell, I've been doing origami for over a decade now, and *I'm* not ready for something this complicated.

How about this one then? Seems more doable?

If you're a beginner, you need diagrams, not crease patterns. Even experts can't always put something together looking at crease patterns.

I have a hermit crab pattern somewhere... in a book called "Origami Sea Life" by Lang and Montroll.

I can't scan it today. I WILL scan it as soon as I can; perhaps early tomorrow. Just like I scanned the hippo.

Bump/ask again tomorrow around noon if I haven't delivered yet.

Wow, time sure flew, didn't it?

Still not a beginner's model, but the directions are pretty clear. Maybe you'll get lucky.

Heh. Delivered as Anonymous. Oops?

How do you use crease patterns? Like are there certain ways to start?
Anyone have anything easy to start with?
>> TSONTS !!u7H15vJR6mX
Crease patterns simply tell you where the creases fall if you unfold a piece. Unless you're familiar with the bases, most of them will look like gobbeldygook. It's not worth the effort, in my book, to try to fold by crease pattern.

There is no "easy way to start with" by crease patterns.
