stickers are almost papercraft, right?
>> Anonymous
No, this doesn't belong.

Papercraft is NOT "things made from paper".
Papercraft is "pepakura" -- making three dimensional paper sculptures from cut paper patterns and glue.

I do think those stickers are awesome.

where can I go about acquiring some?

Stickers are neat, but not for /po/.

Papercraft IS "things made from paper"
PAPER CRAFT
not "crafts from paper that only i feel are worthy"
elitists need to stfu

>>103662see>>103539

Papercraft is "pepakura".
Papercraft is NOT "things made of paper".

By your thinking, then making homemade paper, wallpapering a room, and making flypaper would belong here.

By your thinking, any game played with your eyes would belong in /v/.

By your thinking, ring-around-the-rosy, jacks, and dodgeball belong in /tg/.

Homemade paper is very useful for origami though.

>> Anonymous
>>103744
To stick to random shit obviously. I wish I had some money to make some cake stickers.
>> To sage or not to sage... that is the question.
No sage this time...

You do know that you can buy sticker paper for inkjet and laser printers at most Wal-Mart and Staples stores, don't you?

Also, this isn't papercraft or origami, but obviously, OP isn't listening.

to stick on bathroom stalls. or other random doorways.

These are neat things to do with paper. Are you really going to whine about it because it's doesn't fit a preordained caetegory?
>> Anonymous
>>103772
yes. but my printer sucks, so id have to buy a new printer too. i dont do this often enough that it would be worth the price of a new printer, sticker paper, and the work involved in cutting them out.
>> To sage or not to sage... that is the question.
>>103776
Sorry to hear that. As for work cutting them out, papercraft supplies -- a cutting mat, a metal ruler, and an x-acto knife -- gives you professional results.

>>103775
That still doesn't make it papercraft. Stickers: Take a picture, put it on adhesive paper. Done. ANYTHING can be a sticker. I can print out this topic on a page of sticker paper and stick it to something. I could just print it on normal paper and GLUE the paper to something...

/po/ is for origami and pepakura(papercraft), not origami and everything else made of paper.

but i made that swan out of the backing from one of the stickers, therefore this thread is related!
>> Anonymous
>>103792
wait, did i say swan? i mean crane, lol
>> To sage or not to sage... that is the question.
>>103792
Stretching it a bit, aren't you? Still... gotta admire the comedy and civility of the thread.
>> Cancer that is killing /g/ !zkraGArAss
WalMart doesn't have glossy sticker paper, only shitty label paper with cheap glue backing.
>> Anonymous
>>103803
yeah these are vinyl, so its a bit more costly than the paper ones. so yeah, overall not worth it for me.
>> To sage or not to sage... that is the question.
If you really want to make stickers, you could also pop for a Xyron stickermaker at A.C. Moore or Michael's...
>> Anonymous
>>103807
Except not at Michaels because they overprice everything!
>> Cakeslob !!49IDaeG8P6M
These are vinyl printed stickers right? not like shitty printer gloss ones ?
>> Anonymous
>>103812
yes, they are vinyl.
>> Anonymous
Obviously the only thing you can do with these stickers is give them away.
>> Anonymous
yes the tranformer and other shit are made from vinyl and a cutter so those where made like if you where cutting paper
>> Anonymous
>>103843
¿does this make any sense?
