Hey /po/!
I really need some advice in how to make that kind of "poster". I need the name of the tool that do that, or, if there's not, some way to do it using Adobe Photoshop. what I really need is to know the way to separate the full image on din A4 papers. I would like to do a real big poster of a photo of my village to decorate my restaurant.

Thanks in Advance! keep the good job!

If you're going to blow up a picture, make sure it's very high quality, several megapixels in size and not compressed to hell.
An Italian place near me had a large crest of some sort, which was created from a bad JPG that couldn't have been bigger than about 400X400. Without ever stepping into the premises, I could see the glaring artifacts and blockiness caused by stretching a small, bad quality picture.

i used rasterbator to make a huge 10ft high mudkip stencil( it was vector'd beforehand so no blockyness, and was outlined to save on ink).

now there is a monster mudkip overlooking my village , its been up there for a year, may his reign of terror and suppression last for many decades to come, hail lord monsterkip.
got no camera, so no pics sorry.

There's usually a printing preference from your printer that will allow you to print posters (2x2, 3x3, 4x4, etc). I find that this is the easiest way. I've tried doing it and it works!

no no no. rasterbator changes your images. what you are looking for is an app called 'posterazor'

I second checking printing preferences. I can tell you Lexmark and HP both have this option in their software.

http://www.blockposters.com works very well, too. Again, you get problems with image stretching. However, pixelated images stretched out look WONDERFUL, and they're really fun to put together.

Heh, rasterbation is a funny word.

try yourself.

rasterbator modify image making different size colored dots, you need be a bit far to see properly the picture. I Dont recomend rasterbator for less of 5x5 A4 size posters And/Or light colours posters. Works better in large and/or dark colours posters.

Posteriza only makes the image bigger and split to print in many paper pieces. If you will see poster from near, works better

In both cases use the biggest(in pixels) image you can found. more pixels->better poster.
