How many times do folks have to say it? Chokipeta models were distributed in Japanese magazines and are largely unavailable, period. The fact someone found thumbnail sized pictures of the Wind Waker Link model is impressive, but other than the Four Swords Link, a Pikachu, and the Team Rocket Meowth Balloon, nothing has been found or shared.

Here's the Pikachu. Someone else can put up the Four Swords Link, or you could always Google it; it's easy enough to find.

No, it's fine. Matches the one on my harddrive bit for bit as well, and both open. Try redownloading.

Magazines, plural?

If they were ALL in 04-05 Dengeki, that narrows the search considerably. If OP could share his sauce for this little thumbnail, I bet it'd lead to the right issue. I WOULD buy it.
>> Anonymous
His papercraft has been in Dengeki, as well as other sources, but random back issues of Dengeki would produce a LOT of his Pokémon and Zelda models. Quite a number of them were inserts in special magazines made for the release of games (there was a model of the team base for Pikachu in Mystery Dungeon recently in such a magazine), inserts in strategy guides, pack-ins with videos, movies, and games, and some were promo items given away at events (video game shows, etc). I don't know who found the Four Swords link, but the Pikachu was reprinted in a European Pokémon magazine and scanned by another /v/ user, and the Meowth balloon was on the Japanese Pokémon homepage at one point and was saved.

I googled link papercraft and among the hundres of sites I checked out, there was this one messageboard that had this image, but 'alas, no source what magazine it was in...
>> Asnaki
Damn. I checked through all the back issues MediaWorks had up for preview- lots of Pokemon model previews, no other WW. Bet it's in an older one. No choice but to go hunting, then.

Great detective work! One free bump for those who have access to Japanese magazines to be able to see which one had the model in question.

This should not get buried...

...oh, and just to mention it, I found a store with a few random Japanese videogame magazines in my area, but none with papercraft inserts. Bummer.

I was kinda asking you... Like I said, I googled link papercraft and amongst the thousands of hits there was this forum that had these low res images. Don't remember which forum though, before you ask (again).

What do you expect? They don't bother reading the post history before asking for something. It's the same as the folks that keep requesting the same non-existant papercrafts once a week...

You can see Chokipeta's old guestbook there, and according to a post from August of '04, finding the Link model isn't going to happen.

What's even more interesting is that one of the posts there is by a "Ninjatoes"... perhaps the same Ninjatoes that has graced us with multiple quality models in recent months?

Is anyone bidding on this?

>>25502

Wouldn't it be fun if you won the bid, and after waiting a while, this would fall on your door mat, you open it, only to find the papercraft templates were already cut out by the one selling? ("I liked the papercraft so much, I made it myself. Sorry!" ;o)
No it wouldn't. Like it wouldn't be fun receiving a cardboard box with an X on top.

You could ask in poorly translated japanese, "papercraft included?"
