Pirstontale Archer Anonymous
I has it.
I've never, EVER done any papercraft or origami.. I got this from my mom, she knows i'm into anime stuff, and bought me this when she saw this on a fleamarket (don't know how it got there, Finnish fleamarkets aren't known for their selection of anime-related products..).
It's in prime condition and looks like a have a lot of work ahead if i ever want to finish it. If i ever even get started on it.. If i do, i promise i'll find a camera and take pics! I did a little googling (very, very little) and someone said this is pretty complicated.. What suggestions do you have for a beginner?

Get paper thicker than regular paper: twice or 2.5 as thick as normal.
The kind of glue you used in kindergarten works best. Superglue or hot glue are overkill and will only make things messy, and won't allow you to move the parts around a bit when you find that you haven't put them in exactly the right place. If you use a Pritt like glue stick, the parts will often come apart after some time...
Use Google images to find papercrafts you like, those are the best to start with.

Thanks, i'll try to see if i have suitable paper stashed away somewhere. If not, it'll take a while until i can get some.

Here you go. I think this is the same model. I downloaded it here a few years ago.

I recommend you use Aleene's Tack Glue.

You could probably find it in any craft store.

It's a good model to build. Remember to only detach one piece at a time. It might be a good idea to start with something simpler. However, the 3D kits save you the labor of cutting out the entire perimeter of each part, and the labor of scoring fold lines, so it goes fast for a complex kit.

With numerous pieces, small errors can add up. In my case, both feet were not flat on the ground, so I posed her as if taking a step. I still like how she turned out.

lol she looks like she broke her ankle... ;)
still looks nice of course, the only pre-printed papercrafts I have are two flatpack toys from a magazine (those are worse than hakos) and a king cobra from 3Dpaper. I wish they'd sell more papercraft kits in stores, but it's not very profitable since fan made kits for free are often of equal/better quality when it comes to putting them together. Only the print quality is better...
