What kind of paper would /po/ recommend for papercrafts and origami? I'm extremely new at making papercrafts and origami and am wondering if printer paper would work.

Printer paper works for papercraft.

The recommended is 110# (lb.) cardstock, though some will recommend using thinner than that.

For origami buy origami square paper, or cut your own squares.

Next time, PLEASE use Google and do a bit of research; this is asked waaaaaaaaaaaaay too often.

Regular paper will work; go for light cardstock for more permanent models. As the tutorials say, you may need to touch up edges with a felt tip pen or colored pencils if you go with thicker paper to get rid of nasty white edges.

Origami can be folded with almost anything, but specialty origami paper is sold in stores, and some complex models need large squares to have any chance of finishing, or a foil or tissue foil square. Once again, Google will help.
