Trying to make a sailboat Anonymous
Hey /po/. This is a Pearson 35 sailboat's blueprints (some of them). My family owns a Pearson 35 named Christina, she was built in 1979, and sails great.

For some reason, I'm really interested in having a model of her, and not just a model, but an insanely detailed one. With access to the actual boat, plus the blueprints, I have the ideal resources for recreating my boat in paper. I cannot for the life of me, however, get the damn hull shape right. I've been gathering sailboat models (there really aren't many) on the internet, trying to adapt their hulls for my purposes, but so far, no good. So now I'm looking for help. Can anyone point out where a very similar model might be? Or is anyone interested in throwing the hull cross-section into a 3D program and then into Pepakura for me?

This is what's giving me all the damn problems.

Fancy... I'm not the best with NURB modeling, which is what I think would be the best answer. Look into a 3d program called "Rhino".

Isn't Rhino expensive?

I'm sure there's a trial edition, or a student version for less money, or a way to get it for free... not naming any sources...
