How to rip... Anon E Moose
How can I rip PS1 3ds & textures? Do I need a specific emulator?

I second this inquiry.

Each game uses its own compression method, so unless you can find a specific program that rips models from the game itself, you're probably out of luck.

I've heard of programs that take 'snapshots' of the scene you're currently playing, and then you can just edit out all of the stage/extras that you want, but I don't know how well that works, and it only works with DirectX.

Which programs? Specific Emulators that will export the data?

By specific program I meant like you'd have to find "Resident Evil model ripper" or "Megaman Legends model ripper".

Like for FFXI, there's a model viewer that lets you export to MQO, which is how I've made a few models.

Also I don't know any more about those snapshot-takers than what I already said.

I once got this method to "kinda" work by using a PSX emulator with a directx9 video plugin, but it was FAR from perfect and didn't rip anything usable. The only emulator ripping I know of is for the N64, NOT for Playstation games, for those you need specific ripper program written by fans: IF there are any, because if you're thinking about the FF7 rips "so it IS be possible, right!" then no: they were ripped from the PC CD-ROM version, not the PS version...
