It's by Satoshi Kamiya. He first published it in Tanteidan 9 though. Later in Works of Satoshi Kamiya.

>> OMG NOT THIS SHIT AGAIN Newfag
My chocobo turned out just like my hydralisk. Crumpled up on the fucking floor. Christ I even have a video of some guy making the hydralisk and I still fail.

/po/, baby, give me some papercraft & origami I can actually do. Thanks.

I have one at home on top of my screen, only without the creases on the wings and tail. No pic though, so I guess it didn't happen.

If I remember correctly, this folder should have pages to the symbols and folds at the beginning of Origami Zoo. They're pretty standardized in the origami community, so most diagrams should follow these with only slight modifications. Around steps 21-22, there are two folds that lead to a squash fold. After that comes more folding for a fold that resembles a petal fold. Then you get to unfold and refold half of what you've done up to this point, otherwise the body of the bird would be white on the final model. The legs are the biggest pain on the model, and I still haven't uploaded my version of getting around some of that pain. I really should get around to that.

I knew I had this PDF floating around. You can thank me later :)

I got all the way to something like step 46 before they were asking me to make some fold that either didn't make sense, or appeared impossible. So I got fed up and tore it in half. Maybe I can do better with the symbols and folds list. Maybe now I'll know what the mean by "open sink"

gave up at 30 just now.
