Good job on the model. The photo's not only bad quality because of the camera, though. Taking a few minutes of setup to take better pictures is even more important with a cheap camera. Here's some general tips, not neccessarily for the OP:
Lighting: get a white backdrop, even if it's just some propped up printer paper, and stand the subject on something white, too, if you can. Also, light your subject well, even if it's only with a desklamp. Orientation: if the subject is vertical, turn the camera to use more real-estate. You'll be able to shoot closer without cutting anything off. Blurriness: keeping the camera steady should be a given, even if you have to set up a make-shift tripod. You also need to worry about focal-distance. Since it's a webcam, it probably doesn't focus well and so the camera will only work in a very specific distance from the subject. Shoot only at the optimal distance. Post-production: Learning a few photo editing skills is optional but worth the effort. Crop, rotate and resize should be a given (especially resize for those people that like to take pics with their 7megapixel cameras and upload the raw photo >_>) but you can also get some better quality with the Levels filter to enrich the colors.
