This is really quite good.

Awww, thanks! I want to submit diagrams for the Chikorita to the Origami Forum's 2007 Christmas ebook. Problem is, my camera is being a bitch at the moment.

That Eevee is quite impressive.

Do you diagram your creations? I wouldn't mind taking a stab at them.

I do when I force myself to get off my lazy ass :P Though like I said the camera's being a bitch at the moment (I do photo diagrams because I can't draw well and lack a scanner or a tablet). Was just able to snap the pic of the Eevee before it cut out. However, I based the Eevee heavily off of John Montroll's Coyotte (from North American Animals in Origami) in case that helps.

*pokes around bookshelf*
Page 74. Longer ears, reshaped the face, different tail folds, and a bit of reversing to add white to the front and the tail. Clever!

I honestly didn't recognize it at first.

Well, the white collar comes from a flap pulled out during the pleating that forms the front legs (which results in the belly flaps having to be close-sinked). I also shortened the body a bit. If you fold one, please post! :]

If I get around to it, I will.

There's only so much papercraft or origami I can do at a time before I walk away for a while... I actually was using the book, trying to do the raccoon model in it. How'd I do?

'Bout as good as I did. I've only made it twice so far, mainly because like you, I loose patience after a while.
