Canon encourages you to use all your ink printing papercraft.

Pic related.

MMM yeah well a set of new ink cartridges from Canon would cost me 52 euro and printer was 72 euro including a set of cartridges. You cant sell printers for 20 euro and make a profit so it has to come from the ink!
Thats why I refill them myself for about 2 euro for a set of 1 black and 3 colour.
This way papercrafting is real cheap

I love how they try to sneak all that yellow in between all the pieces you need to cut out. I wonder if they think nobody's noticing?

52 euro?

3 carts for color [without black] cost me together 59$. It seems like you're ripped off, or Canon sucks, or Brother is awesome, or I got the $=Euro system wrong.
Same currency converter says that's 40 Euros, so black should.. wait, it actually makes sense. I take it all back.

Fuck ink is expensive.

Ink cartridges for my HP 1210 only cost around $30. Is it expensive? Yes and no. Yes, it's expensive for what more people use printer ink for. But when you consider how many colors an ink cartridge can reproduce, then think of how many prismacolor markers with would take to get the same results at $3 per marker. Then an ink cartridge becomes a bargain.
