of course not, im still gonna finish it, now i just have a better refrence. im also working on using a ripped model of cloud from ff7's battle.lgp to make sora. and i hear that there is 2 different models of cloud coming out soon as well. hopefully my sora will be up to par. :/

If memory serves, the key was one of her earlier ones, try to do it better.

its actually a really nice model, now that im looking at it, but the tabs are a bit silly.
>> dannifood4less
actually, now that im looking at this

i think im gonna work on him from scratch too.

I did not say it was a bad model. I said try to do better. Just because something is good, does not mean it cannot be improved. It is good, aim for best – or something.

Don't make the small circles so that they're on top of the triangles, it will be hard to attach them...
Make them so they go inside the triangles a little (they actually are like that on the official design from the game; since they thought things through and realized it wouldn't be a very realistic design otherwise). But even if they weren't, you need to think about things like that to design it so it will be easy to make later.

thanks for the tip, i also have to angle it inward, i made it just straight, but hey, i got time to fix it all, im building Vivi righ now, so im taking a 3d break, but now my fingers hurt from cutting and scoring

question on Chamoo's keyblade.
does anyone have any done pics of theirs?
chamoo's are...well..let's just say blurry as fuck.
also, anyone else not dig how the crownkey part is put together?

> been done already. wanna make something useful?
lol you got it all wrong, that's not why /po/eple make papercraft templates...
No, OP doesn't want to make something so that YOU can enjoy it (that would just be a nice bonus) he just wants to fight off the boredom by having some fun modeling a 3D model, learning himself some new skills that might come in handy for whatever the future holds and making a papercraft for himself.
And it might be better than the existing one or it might turn out crappier. The one that needs to be happy with the work is OP, not you I'm afraid...

>>75502
I'm afraid I don't have pictures, but can't you figure it out by looking at what the crownkey piece looks like and then figuring out where each part goes..?
Maybe you're confused because on the parts labeled 1, there are some fold lines that shouldn't be there. Because of the way the 3D model was modeled, the "top" of the crown key isn't one continuous part, but it's actually four parts (hence why there are four tabs on the right crown key part, cut it out as one).
The parts numbered 1 are the sides+ part of the top, the parts marked 2 go around the circles and the parts marked 3 are the "inside valley folds".

no no i get how to make the crownkey part u just think it was a weird way to make it 3d. (HINT TO OP) *cough* sorry there was apparently something in my type.
no the part i don't quite understand i will show in the photo to the left there
i dunno how those go on the handle

lol yeah in>>75502you said "anyone else not dig how the crownkey part is put together?" and now you say "no no i get how to make the crownkey part" that's why I got confused lol...
The 3D design in preperation for Pepakura could be better yes, but that goes for many papercrafts that are far from perfect but still buildable and that many people will like have and build because it's from their favorite game/anime/whatever. ;o)

You make parts G+E into flat cylinders, only two sides will be flat, not round. Those are the sides you need to glue the "handles" to (they have open hands that are flat and that you need to glue to the flat sides of parts E and G).
Parts J are kinda like decoration. Make them into small cylinders again and glue one on each side of parts E and G. Then glue the black part (roll into a cylinder) in between and you'll have the start of your handle.
Maybe attached MS Paint crap will help.

thank you anon i thought it may go something like that but sometimes i am a tard, and this particular build is for a friend and his woman, so i am trying to actually making it not look like complete shit.

the whole comment about the crown part is that i understand the how to make it, i just think it's stupid.
and i tihnk OP could do better, especially since he's maing something new.
which is awesome.
