Got any good Sailor Moon Papercraft templates, especially for beginners?
>> Anonymous
very well OP, I have a couple of them here
the first site you should look is http://www.kinmoku.net/tsukutte/downloads01.php
very simple papercrafts for beginners
afterwards, jusr /rs/ other Sailor Moon related /po/ projects: the disquise pens, a broach, the star, and a round locket.

And if you're done playing, you can build this one.

This is the innerbrain model and i must say, its not easy to find.

Had that one years ago, but without decent instructions I am not going to attempt it in a hurry.

I built it earlier in the year, it's not that hard. The parts are laid out so that things that connect are next to each other, or on adjacent pages. Just keep in mind there are two versions, so you don't need to print all the pages (the skirt and the torso parts).

thanks for the tip, I'll keep that in mind ^^

Wow, that is the first time I have also seen pictures of the model completed, that isn't the creator one.

Are you interested in taking a few more closeup shots of various parts like elbows, back of head hands etc ?

Sometimes having those things can really help alot, since there aren't any know instructions.

I actually don't have it anymore (it was a gift), but I remember it fairly well. Keep in mind that it is about two feet tall, so the parts are huge and actually very simple. There were two "mystery pieces" that I couldn't figure out properly, one was supposed to go in her waist to stabilize the legs and I don't remember the other one, but I built it without them and she stands just fine.

The hardest part was doing the hair (they don't connect A-B-C-etc exactly), but if you match up the size of the tabs you can figure it out. Just remember that they curl halfway down and are not perfectly straight. The lower half is actually three (or four) pieces intertwined.

Also, the skirt was a pain because I didn't realize it was pleated so that the top folds are on top of each other (the waist is compacted to half its unfolded size).

Once you build the parts, it will make more sense than looking at the template. Just don't glue anything together until you're absolutely certain that's how it fits. It just requires a bit of patience and possibly a test run for the hair and skirt.

For some reason I can't download .rar files. Is there a rapidsare backup? I would really like to make this. I used to love Sailor Moon.

the model really is a brute without instructions. i spent about 2 hours trying to figure out how to build the legs, and at least another 2 trying to do the hair since they don't match right and which ended up a little mangled.
