pendulum + escapement. as the original scanner of the PDF, I'm curious to hear how well it works. (one forum I saw said that the weights are only good for about two hours, since there isn't any stepping down of the rotation.)
>> Anonymous
bits seem to be cut off in the pdf, any ideas why?
>> Anonymous
>>61698
Original template was bigger than regular A4 paper size scanner?
>> Anonymous
can it still be made with the parts in the pdf?
>> Anonymous
>>61703
You either copy+paste the cut off parts together in a image editing program (photoshop if you have it, else printscreen+paste, else with newer versions of adobe reader select+copy+paste) or just print it as it is, and glue the cut off parts together in real life.
>> Anonymous
thanks mate, are all parts there?
>> clocknerd
>>61703
The first two sheets are for the two pieces that wouldn't fit in the 10"x14" page. The cut-off bits are all later in the file.
>> Marquis
it might be me. but it seems some pieces are missing (pieces 27-28)
>> Anonymous
>>61887

are they really missing? im too lazy too check =(
>> clocknerd
>>61887
Hmmmmm. Scanner of the pdf here; my copy is missing the upper right hand corner of the sheet w/ 9, 11, 20, 21, and 22; they might be where 28 and 29 were.

However, if that's the case: just look at Figs 1 and 2: all they are is a half-rounded square of cardboard used to hang something from (the pendulum, perhaps?) Fig 1 has the only view of piece 29 at all - it's the uvula-like thing ni the top center.
>> Marquis
I'll try making the piece then. thanks

I have the book lol. I got it when I was little, and thought it was too hard, and that I'd do it when I was older. Now I can't find it lol.

do you punch out the peices from the bookk or do you have to cut it out from the book? o.o

Yep, that's definitely one of the Wrebbit clocks.

Check out the "Time Tripper's clock" in the links page - or http://www1.jawink.ne.jp/koji-y/clock/clock03.htm to get right to the good stuff.
