Does anyone have a pattern for a Bob-omb? i want to make one to bring with me next time i cosplay as Mario
>> Pixel-Kakashi !!m4QWeHOOFBy
Check www.nintendopapercraft.com specially the "Mario" section.

Thanks! i was thinking of making it out of fabric, but i figure i can use the same pattern as one used for paper
>> Octo
Fabric like felt? Are you making a plushie Bob-omb? That would rock!
>> Octo
Now that I think about it, I kinda want to make a plushie Mario-mushroom for a certain lady.... =]
>> dai
uh oh, looks like plushie patterns are going to slowly start to wedge their way into /po/...

This may prove to be interesting.

Google "plush weighted companion cube" or something, find the sewing patterns, and be prepared to brit shicks.
>> Octo
I know that it's not really papercrafting, but it's damn close, just thread instead of glue. Hmmmm.... wonder if my Megaman could be sewn? =P
>> RMDC
I would love to see what papercrafts could be made into plushies. My toddler would go apeshit for a Stitch.
>> Anonymous
I've seen plushies of Stitch already. What we need are the fringe characters that aren't commonly made, like the Plushformers, or whatever she calls them.

Megaman
Blanka
Ein
Rei Ayunami <3
Wolverine
Spawn
The Maxx

I would cuddle up with a Maxx plush every night, I swears! =3

Hmm, is this the start of a list? Let me get in a few...

WALL-E or EVE (from the Paper-Replika models)
Amaterasu (Standing, not Swordplay)
Metal Gear REX (The 2x model would do nicely)

fuck man, making this plushie is turning out harder than i thought it would... it's annoying to cut fabric precisely, and sewing takes much longer than glueing

harder yes but its wert it

sorry, still working on the main body, almost done with it, but i don't have anything to stuff it with yet, so there's not much to look at right now
>> Octo
I saw a ton of that pillow stuffing crap on clearance at Michaels a while ago...

Are you making it out of felt, and if so, are you using those assortment packs or buying it in reams? I'd like to make a Shyguy and maybe a Metroid...

>> Anonymous
>>188358
I'm making it out of old fabric i had lying around, and i think i'll mutilate some stuffed toys i had when i was like...4 for the stuffings
>>188385
Sorry XD; i'd at least like to have the body done before that
>>188496
haven't worked on it today ( been away all day ) I'm doing the rest of the main body now, but since it's already almost 12 PM here, im not gonna do THAT much
>> Anonymous
I have 4 beanbag chairs that are fairly done being useful, so I may gut them and use their filling to make the kind of plushies that are a little harder, not soft like a teddy bear.
>> Anonymous
>>188640
i also have some of that material, just not near enough to fill this entire thing.

Also, i finished the main body, ill get pictures up as soon as i get home later today

Okay, here it is, main body and fuse... This is my first attempt at making a plushie, so it looks kinda messing at some points ( not to mention the first time i've touched a needle and thread in a good few years )
>> Octo
O lold! That looks awesome.

dai, Common sense tells me that any simple paper craft could be translated into a plushie. instead of tabs, add 2 cm of fabric to all sides and 'build' it inside out.

All that is lost are textures, but Cotton could solve that problem. All that's need to be taken into account is the force of the white stuff on the inside pushing out. So a T shape would end up as an upside down Delta shape. So that would need to be an I and a _ shape.

Basically, yea, cept that you don't need to add 2 cm, 3 milimeter is usually enough as i just found out. and to get it to retain some shape, you can make a thick paper or thin cardboard template, and sew that with it on the inside

Okay, did the shoes and the eyes along with it ( shoes were a bitch to attach ). all that's left is the wind-up key at the back
