Companion Cube Anonymous
I'm trying to put together the Companion Cube papercraft that Ian (of Three Panel Soul comics) posted in his rant. However, that douchebag didn't provide instructions or at least show what piece connect to another. Pic is part of what he provided.

That template doesn't have some flaps between places it should. This one should.

well, perhaps I used a too strong of a term. But the thing is that he clearly stated that he doesn't wanted to be asked for directions. It's just the corner pads that's unclear about what goes to what.

They talk about the tiny one. Yeesh, I come here for the first time, make a thread, and failed to realize that there were other threads like it.

OK. you see how those corner parts have curved edges? the should be towards the curve of the flat piece and the flat edges next to it along the edges of the flat piece.

The piece in the bottom right is a joiner between 2 shoulder parts I believe.

Pic added for clarity.

We end up with 10-12 cube threads at a time thanks to folks who post first and look later.

'Ello /po/eople.

My revision of Ian's. Got all the necessary tabs. It turns out to be about 5.5 inches if printed from a normal printer. I shrunk it down a bit for saving paper.

Also, removed some parts that made no fucking sense. (see OP)

Nice one.

Applying those red lines should be pretty hard.

Also be warned: I suggest doing the edge-things before the corner-things. The edge things are hard to glue in if you've got the corners already in, also they tend not to line up. Also, I forgot to putt markings for flaps on the edge-thing's faces. be warned of that.

yes, but the joins between either of those in the middle has to be joined as wel... you need to print out more than one sheet
