Couple of questions first.

1) What's the name of the Pokemon with Piplup?
2) What's the name of the Pokemon with Pikachu?
>> Anonymous
     File :-(, x)
well the one with pikachu is shaymin. Japanese event only in D/P unless you cheat.. the other one is an evolved form maybe.. never seen it before..
>> Kenta

Here's Piplup. After this I will give you Ground Shaymin. Then it will be a while before you get the other two. And then it will be a while after that before I get you the instructions.
>> GoblinGuy
     File :-(, x)
Woops, I'm sorry. I meant Sky Shaymin.
>> Anonymous

i'll put these on the /po/ wiki shortly

Nice quality. Thanks, OP
>> GoblinGuy
     File :-(, x)
Here's Piplup's instructions. I've been busy all day, but I'm going to scan the rest here and now. It's going to take a while, because the pages are bigger than my scanner, and I have to stitch them together.
>> Anonymous
oh come one, MORE pokemons? so many great papercrafts out there and you guys still drool over yet more pokemons..?
>> gizmogal !MmLOyiCYJs
awesome! thanks for these.
>> GoblinGuy
>>165979
We haven't caught them all yet.
>> GoblinGuy
     File :-(, x)
Sky Shaymin's instructions.
>> GoblinGuy
Ground Shaymin.

On another note, see those backgrounds that they're standing on on the book covers? Those are included with the kits, but does anyone really want them? They'd waste a lot of ink, not sure if anyone would want to print those.
>> GoblinGuy
>>165984
Woops, forgot my file.
>> GoblinGuy
>>165985
Double woops, obvious flaw in that one. Deleting it for now, I'll get a fixed up in a minute. Sorry for not noticing it.

All right, there you go. Now to get to work on Pikachu, the instructions, and then I'm done for today.

Scan as much as possible for those who are interested.

Also, do you know the creator of these?
>> GoblinGuy
     File :-(, x)
Sorry, something came up last night, and by the time I was finished it was WAAY too late in the night. Ground Shaymin instructions. I'll get started on those backgrounds.
>> GoblinGuy
Background for the Pikachu set. The crease a little over halfway up is where you fold it.
>> GoblinGuy
I swear one of these days I'm going to forget my file and it won't be funny.
>> GoblinGuy
     File :-(, x)
And then another one of these days I'm going to learn how to spot obvious flaws before I upload.
>> GoblinGuy
And here's the one for Piplup. Enjoy.
>> GoblinGuy

Jesus, I am failing a lot today. NOW enjoy.

The checkbox at the bottom of the page is not for deleting your post, it's for deleting the File Only: if you DON'T check it, it will delete your entire post.

I know. I just don't want to re-type what I already said.

bump - too young and beautiful to die...
>> Anonymous
Why are they so tiny when completed?
>> Anonymous
If they're too small for you, spread the parts out over more pages. Not every papercraft is huge...
>> Anonymous
That's it. GoblinGuy, I want to have your kids.

Thank you so much for all these scans you give us.

Don't thank me, thank the Japanese guy. Not only did he go out of his way to buy these for me (thus saving a TON on shipping and processing fees) but he even included in the package 2 Pokemon figurines, Piplup and Pikachu, and 2 sets of Pokemon sticker sheets as added gifts just for me. He's really a nice guy.

Thank you Japanese Guy!

>>166739
Aww, how nice of him. I wish I knew nice people like that, tell him next time you hear from him he made a lot of people happy today.

And still, thank you for the rest of what all you have done for us.
>> Anonymous
I wish we had papercraft magazines like that here in Australia, then we wouldn't have to impose on nice Japanese people ... thank you.

Could all this new Piplup stuff be used in the recreation of the Chokipeta Piplup? Jen?
>> Anonymous
another great find by goblin guy and his friend in japan
thanks
>> Jen

Most of it looks like it could be. The head on the chokipeta piplup is cut up differently. Just about all of the parts are different between the two, but create a similar product.

Since the chokipeta instructions do not show the side or back of piplup's head I cannot be sure about this, but it looks like the front and back of the head are almost completely separate of each other. There is one line on the instructions for the head that does not make much sense, so I'm guessing that this may be what is happening. Something like that happens on the limbless cat he made for Graffiti Labs, but I haven't seen it on any of the more recent papercrafts from him, so I'm not sure. Plus, if there was a lot going on in the back, he would probably show how to put it together.

In other words, I'm confused. I have been looking at this in some of my spare time. I'm going to print out this piplup and see what I can modify from this to create something similar to chokipeta's version.

Will you get one of the turtwig or that water pokemon which looks like giant crocodile? Sorry I can't remember the name. Something gnaw?
In the meantime I'll take what's here. Thanks once again Goblin guy.

Well I finally finished Howl's Moving Castle by adding the secret hidden Piplup part to it.

I really need to get back to HMC. I am also surprised nobody built this before me; I took forever and a day to build it.

As a perfectionist, I think next time you should try to make sure none of the white tabs are showing.

To best do this, color the edges and tabs with the right colored marker before gluing.

Just my two cents.
>> Anonymous !bgREVLN8FU
>>167378
I'm working on the moving one, readily available and free to find. If that bitch gets destroyed somehow, I'll do the expensive one right there.
>> GoblinGuy
>>167380
They're not really that noticeable, the flash just makes it seem like they are. I am also a perfectionist, and that is why papercrafting is really frustrating for me.
>> Anonymous
why would you pay for that when you can get it for free?

And i think i'll go ahead throw my name in for the perfectionist club list too.
