Charles here Charles Bradbury
Hey. I'm in the final steps of completing this Bowser's Clown car model, but having some trouble deciding how to work around with the actual propeller. Would you be determined enough to pop a toothpick/some other stick through the hole in the bottom and attach a paper propeller to the end, or should I go for a more advanced thing (I had the idea of tearing a small clock apart and use the 'motor' as the spinner of the propeller and the hands of the clock, but then again that would be pretty complicated... right? Either way, hit me up with some ideas before I do this.

You have the worst luck, Charles.

Well, I guess I could finish it.. But in order to do so, you've got to help me out here. I was never too good with the unfolding process, let alone assembling models. Which one (in terms of easiness of assembling) would be better of these two? The 'Flower'-type or the 'Stripes'-type?

2nd one, but make sure the tabs are alternating in an alternating zig zag fashion. This prevents your pieces from overlapping each other. When you put all the tabs on one side, the margin of error you'll make gluing the piece is extremely small, but it can add up to about half a face when you're done. So make the tabs alternating, and that'd be perfect. Pain to cut out, but perfect.

The one on the right looks like it would be easier to make.

Well, alright, but the core has some issues..
I can't imagine anyone folding such small areas... Right?

Two options.

1) Edit them out in Paint if you're providing just the template, the difference doesn't matter.

2) Leave them, the difference doesn't matter. They're so thin it's just like that line is a mountain fold anyway.

Or not folding at all. You get my point.

Testing this out.. Looks good?

Yes, perfect.

Awesome.
I'll get to working around with the propeller as soon as I get back home.

Until then.

Yours actually looks like a better model of the clown car. I really look forward to making it. ^_^
