Would you kindly help me make a big daddy papercraft?

What do you mean by ``help''?

He means "you make the template, I build it" I think. ;o)
Your best bet is to provide the 3D model (rip it from the game probably if possible) and then MAYBE somebody will try it.
But most /po/eple are very enthustiastic, but will fail when trying to create something themselves (just the way it is, it's not a good thing, it's not a bad thing, it just is).
Especially on next gen games, which will have very detailed 3D models, most /po/eple won't want to/can't edit the 3D model enough to make a GOOD papercraft... It's A LOT of work, and most /po/eple will give up...
But there's always a chance. ;o)

those of us who missed out on the actual model are behind this

I think a model of big daddy taken straight from the game would be all but useless for papercraft. It's ridiculously detailed.
You'd probably need to build the low-poly papercraft model from scratch, using the detailed model for reference.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with you there, but if anything, it could serve as a good referance.

OP here.

No I know no one's going to go make a template for me, but I was looking more for some help on where to start so that we can maybe make a template /po/ would enjoy.

Then like I said, trying to rip the model would be a good place to start. But it's pretty new, so I don't know if some crazed fan already wrote a software that can read and decompress the format they used (or maybe they used a known format for which a software already exists).
Or since it probably would be unsuited for papercraft anyway, maybe make your own simpler model using SketchUp or Metasequoia?
Where to start is pretty easy: I'm guessing you're gonna use Pepakura, so you need to create a 3D model.

Oh and btw:

Stranger things have happened here. ;o)

if someone can rip the model and will post it in .3ds, .ma, .obj, really anything but sketchup, I will try to use that model as a guide to make a papercraft friendly low poly model for you.

is the link working ?

Yeah, file is in (Halflife?) .smd format, so you need to convert it (and then simplify it A LOT before even attempting to make it into a papercraft, please whoever feels like making this into a papercraft, don't skip this step...).

Make a Rosie instead of a Bouncer, so that both have a tangible version.

But Bouncers look so much cooler!
>> dreamofanotaku
I'd like both.
