Does anyone know of any life sized papercraft swords? Not any design in particular.

I want to make one so I'm looking for any examples or. Does anyone have an idea to make the blade part stronger.

Pic related.

http://members.home.nl/papermodels/html/downloads.htm for a doublebladed axe, Spiked mace, Longsword and Morningstar.

Making it stronger? Well you could spray it with several layers of varnish/lacquer, but c'mon: basically it will be a paper strip a meter long and 10 cm wide...

I was thinking maybe some paper support like a grid glued to the top and bottom, or maybe a long piece (or pieces) of cardboard on the inside.

As long as you don't try to hit something with it, you're fine.
The second you do, the paper will buckle between the ribs.

Idea to make the blade stronger? You could buy a plate of aluminium and draw the instructions on it and after that cut it out of the plate and fold it. It will be bulky, and wouldn't really be usable as a sword because it'd be too blunt, but for a mace or morningstar it could work.

mini swords would be nice, otherwise better off making some blade trainers for real swords
