Gunblade template finaly finished Chamoo
I finaly finished the gunblade template I started almost 3 weeks ago. it wasnt a hard model to do its just that I was very busy. I dont even have time to do a build test myself but the model is simple enough and I dont think it has any error

considering the size of the blade on the sheet I think it should be 13-16 inch long once completed. maybe more

A lot of people like Final Fantasy and love the gunblade, so a lot of people will love your paper model (some people even couldn't wait to get their hands on it and were asking about your progress not too long ago ;o).

I haven't built it yet, but at first glance I did spot a minor flaw:

You made the (half) cylinder in 5 sections, but the adjoining (quarter) dome in only 4 sections. This way, they won't fit together properly...

>>21435continued:

Either the (quarter) dome should have 5 sections like the (half) cylinder, or the (half) cylinder should have 4 sections like the (quarter) dome. I made a quick sketch so you can see what I mean. I'm not sure if it'll work exactly as I sketched it, but in a 3D modeller, you can figure this out much easier than I can in 2D Photoshop... ;o)

Other than that, the model doesn't seem to be very complicated so it's very buildable.
Maybe you could have joined some parts together to reduce the total number of parts, but I also think that often the model is much easier to build when you keep the parts seperate and simple like this.

I'm not telling you this because I just like to bitch at you, but since you're one of the few people that actually PRODUCE papercrafts here on /po/ for others to enjoy, I thought you'd like some feedback on how to make your papercrafts even better.

Oh, and if the pieces aren't meant to fit together; forget I said anything. They just looked like they should. ;o)
>> thank you digerman3

it wasnt meaned to fit or not fit. its just how it ended up with to tool I used. but the small round thing should be smaller than the half circle so no spike should be seen betwen the 2. at first the whole bullet roll was suposed to be just 1 part and be a real cylinder but I though it would have made the center part too tricky to build with the hole in the middle

Thank you very much!
gonna make this one soon...

I just have the trigger and hammer left but i made a few rudimentery mistakes i placed the cylender peices facing the right way but on the wrong side so the shadow isnt congruent on the cylender (my bad) and i belive the cover for the back of the cylender wont fit. glued the cylender on first and maybe to far back. but its almost done

Nevermind the datestamp, I hate my camera.

This is an impomput picture, my printer sucks, second papercraft ever actually built (first was the pool nigra, lol)... but this shows that it's buildable, and from a distance looks pretty awesome.

look nice indeed. not too small either. I wish I had time and ink to build one myself

how you up original dimensions to build with this weight
