I haven't built that one; unless someone here knows exactly which gun that is, you'll have to link to the pattern for help.

I can't see a purpose for those sheets, other than maybe stabilizing the insides so that part 1 doesn't move and the gun doesn't fall apart when you slide.

Hopefully a /po/ member that has finished the model can tell you.

It's the ceiling of the lower part of the gun. It makes things a lot less flimsy.

tcht, having another look, it looks like something glued to the top of the ceiling piece. I dunno, I don't remember putting anything there and mine was fine.
