This question is directed to PMF and anyone else who can answer it for me.
Ive been playing around with making WoW papercrafts and ive noticed that when you open the obj in pep and unfold it it doubles up all the parts. is there anyway to stop this? if so answer would be much appreciated
in return a funny cartoon

your models probably have many layers called "objects". it happens mostly when there's effect/procs/lightings/etc.

after opening your models in pepakura and adjusting the coordinate, click on:
3dModelWindow -> Show Object List
then only select the "objects" that you need once.

use the latest version of wow model viewer found here:
http://www.wowmodelviewer.org/

TUT:
1. get model viewer, milkshape and pepakura
2. find model you want on model viewer
3. export as ms3d
4. open with milkshape, export as obj. convert png textures to .jpg using paint
5. open with pep, texture, go through the object list and make sure you only have one of everything (thanks for the tip PMF)
6. be a god at pep and make the model buildable. im currently making a red hawkstrider
