I can help you with some general tips... first, DO NOT GLUE FLAPS WITH ANOTHER FLAPS believe me, i've seen people doing it second, dollow aaaaaaall of the instructions, as they all are usefull, cutting (do not forget to do it over a disposable- hard surface) scoring the folds, creasing, etc. when you are going to start to paste, thats when you really need to know which flap goes where... if you have no 3d model or instructions, you can still do it by try and fail, (I don't know if you say it like this in english, "prueba y error" in spanish) I mean, take a part, and check if the flap is EXACTLY the same size as another part that has no flap, if it does, check the adjacent flaps, if all they fit, then you've found a pair of pieces... it may sound dumb, boring and even time taking, but this way I completed sephiroth (no instructions, almost completely black and gray, no colors in it, so all the hair was the same grey and all the body the same black...) believe me, is really easy
