You ask for PoKéMoN... Pixel-Kakashi
...I give you PoKéMoN!

The "ears" might be a little tricky, so you need the .PDO file, you need Pepakura Viewer to open it. www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en

I haven't test-built it, but there shouldn't be no problems, if you find anything please let me know!

Thank you so much! I requested this some time when someone asked what Pokémon templates he should make. And now you've made it, yay! So many thanks and free internets from me :)

hey pixel. do you have a website?
>> Pixel-Kakashi
>>65047
No, I was thinking about making one, but I only have like 6 models, on the other hand, I'm working on like 10 models right now, so, maybe later.

When I make it I'll post it here.

Cheers!

How do you get the textures to works properly? I can never get it right.
>> kyle
thanks

In the process of building the head, and there's something that's really minor.
I'm building the lineless version. Look at the pieces directly to the left of the left eye and to the right of the right eye. There's a TINY cut/tab there.

When I printed it out, it just shows up as a line. The tab is too small. You could photoshop that out, as it's not really necessary.

Here are the more simple ears on a4.

>>65092
That depends on the 3d editor you are using, remember it's not just rip a model and throw it into pepakura.

>>65095
Ok. got that corrected, and also added the more simple ears, but I want to wait until all the errors come out, so I wouldn't be releasing many versions.

Please tell me if you find anything else that needs fixing, and also please post pics of your finished models!!!

Oops!

Forgot to upload the file.

I think the simple ears are best. Since it's almost the same color as white, I won't mind using those.
>> Anonymous
how do you do that? i mean the entire rip model from a game then into pepakura then into a final model???

I shall be attempting this very soon dratini is my favourite pokemon and has anyone heard from the guy making breloom???

You need a plug-in based emulator, and you need the nemu64 plug-in (read this http://www.emutalk.net/showthread.php?t=21092 the entire thread, not just the first page), I use 1964; then you need a program that can open .wrl files, for this I use Deep Exploration, I use version 3.5, but I can't tell you were to get it ...cough.http://rapidshare.com/files/43655938/DE_for_wrl.rar.cough, I think you can open them with 3DSMax v9 or Maya, I open the .wrl with Deep Exploration and export to .3ds, then import it into wings 3d (www.wings3d.com); the next thing to do is modify the model to be useful for papercrafting, this means that if the model is too complex you should simplify it, and then fix the textures; the final step is to load the file in Pepakura Designer and cut and place the pieces so it would be buildable (is that a word?).

I was thinking on making a little manual or tutorial for Pepakura, not so much as how to use the tools, more like how to set up the pieces so the unfolding works and it's easier to build.

Mine's done. I used the 2-D ears. I'll post pics a bit later when I get the chance to take some. I had to use 3 pennies to weigh down the inside, though.

There it is, in comparison with a few other papercrafts. Good stuff, Pixel. Good stuff.

>>65399
He he, it seems you need a little bit more practice, but it's ok, some of my friends gave up right after they cut the pieces.

>>65416
Man that looks awesome!
I'm glad you like it.

Now you gotta see my next one: Porygon 2!
>> Black Mage 001
I would much appreciate it if you could post the template for your "thomas the tank engine" model.

^_^

>>65416
I would like a template for that bag in the background there... oh and the sprite box that would be cool too. I'm being serious about one of these and I don't know which one, but I am.

I was already there and the application they have for .fsys files doesn't do anything. I am sure that there are 3d models somewhere in some of those files!
