Mizuiro Gakuen Anonymous
Okay, so, I'm working on perfecting my collection of Mizuiro Gakuen models. If you don't know who that is, the models are here:
http://mizuirogakuen.hp.infoseek.co.jp/index.html
But they don't keep them there. I have nearly all of them, but I'm missing...

From Characters:
Haruhi (surprising)

From "Peparoid":
Autoclair
Craius
CrystalCluster
Serenade

I plan on uploading the full collection (with screens of the models completed, ripped from the site) with all versions and PDOs. BUT, I'd really prefer to get the full collection before I do this. I'm looking to get the WHOLE paper crafts, which means the lined versions, nonlined, and pdos, plus the model instructons if there are any.

im still missing santako girl from mizuiro gakuen :(
can anybody upload it?

You don't need the password to open and print the pdo file with the free Pepakura Viewer from http://www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en/

The pdo file IS the template...

Also, I know there's some way to break the passwords on (japanese developed) pdo's. Anybody know how?

There should be a way to print to pdf to get the pdo files into pdf files. It's standard on a Mac, but pepakura only works on Windows. I would suggest downloading PDF995 and installing it on your computer if you don't already have a print to pdf program. When you go to print the pepakura file, this will allow you to choose to send it to PDF995, which will then make a pdf file out of what you sent to print.

I've tried to download the Santako papercraft on Megaupload twice, and both times the download failed, seemingly in the same place. I'm wondering if the .rar got corrupted during the upload. Please feel free to confirm or deny this suspicion.
>> Anonymous
Seems to work fine, but whatever you upload where, there's always people that have trouble downloading it. Curse of the interweb.
Megaupload works basically the same as Rapidshare: wait a while, input code, click download link etc...

there was a batch of mizuiro gakuen models, and all of them had no password. Some of them are really recent. The reason I want to be able to get them with no password is so I can resize them and output them.
>> Anonymous
>>48162
forgot to say, I'm pretty sure it's on rapidshare, called "mizuirogakuenmodels.rar" or something similar. I think it's missing some recent ones, and the ones I posted here.

holy shit if you actually make them bigger be sure to post here!

Have you tried looking for the uploads of the mizuirogakuen models on rapidsearch yet? If you haven't, here's the link to get you started.
http://rapidsearch.yi.org/?from=/po/

Unfortunately, I'm on a Mac, so I don't know if the .pdo files I have for haruhi are passworded or not. I have access to a PC with pepakura viewer and the designer hack, but the haruhi pdo files haven't been put on it yet. I'll try to make it a priority, but I make no promises.

any chance you could send me the designer hack? I have a bunch of other ones that need the password removed.

I haven't had much of a chance to mess with the pepakura hacks people have been posting on rapidshare, but this is the most recent version.

I went ahead and looked at the haruhi pdo files on pepakura yesterday, and they seem to work fine. I didn't get asked for a password, but I didn't try to change a part of the file. I've never dealt with a passworded pdo file in pepakura designer before, so I don't really know what I'm looking for yet.

I've got all of the files that are haruhi-related off of the mizu site. I'll go ahead and upload them onto rapidshare, and then post back with the link when I'm done. It will be somewhere between 3 and 4 MB.

http://rapidshare.com/files/29424690/Haruhi.rar

It's 3090KB or 2.9MB. I forgot the size of my own files. There are two pdo files in there. I figure haruhi-pa.zip was the one without a password, because when I looked at both of them yesterday, there didn't seem to be a difference between the templates.

Everytime I open either of these, I get this. I tried downloading both the Haruhi's here, and both of them have this password. This may be alot to ask, but if you don't get the password, can you just open the .pdo's and save them seperately? If you save them as a seperate file, it should remove the password. I think.
>> Jen
>>48464

You're right. That really sucks. I'm not getting that on either one of them. I might try downloading the trial version of pepakura sometime just to see if this happens only on it or something.

I'll try saving it again, and see if that removes the problem you're having. If it doesn't, then I offer one last resort. I have photoshop and would be willing to enlarge it to the size that you want, but only as long as it's a percentage. If you're looking to get it to a certain height, then we really will need Pepakura Designer to get rid of the trial and error this would cause in Photoshop.

These password has got nothing to do with having a registered/hacked version of Pepakura Designer.
It's a password of the person that made the pdo to lock the pdo files, so people can't go and change them in Pepakura Designer. Unless you have the password (that only the maker knows, there's no "hack" for it) you can only use Pepakura VIEWER to open the files and there's no save option in VIEWER (>>48464get real, what stupid password method would allow that?? lol).

Luckily, the guy ALWAYS releases several versions for all his papercrafts (if you download a Rapidshare with "all of his works" and it's missing a version, then the uploader was lazy and/or didn't have them all to upload them):
PA is a pdo file without fold lines.
PN is a pdo without fold lines.
A version are jpegs without fold lines.
PN version are jpegs with fold lines.
L version are untextured (white) jpegs.

So if you want to scale them up, forget about finding a hack to open the pdo's in Pepakura Designer, and just use the jpegs.
>>48441has all versions (including jpegs of Haruhi).
>> Anonymous
>>48472
you're probably opening them in Pepakura VIEWER. That's okay, that's allowed. That's what the guy wants. ;)
When you try to open them in Pepakura DESIGNER, you can't. He doesn't want people to edit the models themselves.
>> Jen
>>48477

You're right. I had been opening them in Viewer instead of Designer. I wasn't trying to confuse anyone. I just have both of them on the same computer, and Pepakura Viewer is the one set to default.

I like the password option in Pepakura Designer. It allows the creator to share his or her work without having someone else modify it.

>>48476

I've been wondering what all of those letters meant. That's good to know. I won't stop saving all of the zip files for these that I get off the mizuirogakuen website, but it's good to know what I'm downloading before I click on it.

>>48464

What size are you planning on enlarging the models to? I'm just curious. Also, how many models do you still need to collect? It would probably be a good idea to post them again, since this thread has gotten a lot of responses.
>> Anonymous
>>48476
Unless he uploads them without the password too, which would be pointless, there IS some kind of hack to skip the password. Because on rapidshare, there's a rar of more than half of the files with no password. And of course it's possible to make a hack. If there was no way to get to the password, there'd be no way to compare what you put in to what's set as the password.
>> OP
>>48497
With the exception of Haruhi, I still need all the ones in the opening:
Autoclair
Craius
CrystalCluster
Serenade

They're all mechs, or parts to the mechs.

>>48503
Show us the RapidShare you're talking about then, dammit! Sheesh, people always go like "oh, yes, I've seen what you're talking about wanting!" and then don't say where....... lol
And what I was talking about, was that it's pointless to have a hack for Pepakura DESIGNER, since the password is not in the Pepakura DESIGNER program, but in the pdo files themselves..... There was a way to open the pdo files in a hex-editor, and then deleting two lines of hex-text that apparantly were the password, then saving it back without these lines (don't know if that's what you would call "hacking") but I don't know which two lines exactly.
And "if there was no way to get to the password, there'd be no way to compare what you put in to what's set as the password" I just don't get what you're trying to say, sorry... lol
>> OP
>>48560
I think I got the same rar as him, but I'm not sure. http://rapidsearch.yi.org/?s=Mizuirogakuen
If I'm right, it'll be the one that's only like 6 days old, and is missing...
Autoclair
Bahamut
Bee
Craius
Crystal Cluster
Delphinion
Exert
Haruhi
Kirakisyou
Serenade
Vita
I think that's it.

I'm not 100% sure if that's it though. It'd be wonderful if you could find out which lines need to be removed to remove the password, because I have eight pdo's that need to have the password removed.
>> Wolf
*Hint* Almost all his models ( & any others done on the old Pepakura version) can be converted back to the base 3D/OBJ format using 3D Object Converter 3.80... It won't do the new Pep version, but the majority of the models out there are the old format... You'll have to reskin the model, but it gives you a base to work from... I've already 'stripped' most of his models... Pesky cloths... ;) Heh heh...

Wolf
>> OP
>>48573
You ought to rapidshare those. Also, I don't have any expirience reskinning them, and then I'd also have to recut and place them. And I barely know how to do the 3D shape cutting, I've just barely tested out pepakura designer.
>> Anonymous
Yeah, most of those models don't ask for a password, they just say: can't open it in designer, want top open it in the viewer?
Guess what: it's the same; I think it's old version Pepakura, only saved with new version asks for password I think.

>>48570
The program that's 50 $ to buy? Yeah right... I do papercraft because it's cheap... And then I'd have to more work I'm not good at to re-do them?? Me thinks I'll be printing the models as they're released, thank you very much. lol
>> OP
>>48578
I'm using version 2.1.2 and it does that too. It says that it's only supposed to open in viewer, but I don't it in stalled, so if I click "Yes" then it says it can't find it, so click "Ok". Then, it brings up a browser thing to find viewer, just hit cancel, and then, if you don't have japanese fonts, it'll say it can't read them, just hit "Ok" and it opens in designer.

That only works with the ones in the rapidshare pack though, not the new ones. Also, I'm not asking you to do them for me, if you can figure out which lines it is, I can do it. It's not that hard to find a hex editor.

Also, if you can't afford pepakura designer:
http://rapidsearch.yi.org/?s=pepakura
I'm pretty sure the one with the sentence in the password doesn't have a password.
>> OP
Does anybody know where in the hex the password is? I tried comparing them in a hex editor, but couldn't find it.
>> OP
Well crap. I downloaded some models from his site, and compared it (through hex) to the ones from the rapidshare, and it turns out they're exactly the same. In other words, there might not be a known way to crack the password currently. There must be some way to hex it, though, and open it, but I can't find it. I don't know how to edit hex well enough to. If somebody could help figure out where it is in the hex, I could fix it, and that'd be awesome, but I don't expect it.
