Papercraft Sea Animals Anonymous
Anon looking for this book. Google fails. Does anyone have and willing to share? Or if anyone can direct me to where I can purchase, then that's ok too.

It's a book by the papercraft designer Kei Craft. A link to it on amazon.jp can be found through this tinyurl:

Here's another one by Kei Craft on amazon.jp.

If you live outside of Japan and decide to buy the book, I would recommend buying as many books as you want from Japan, because the charge for shipping and handling on the first book is somewhere around 25 USD. After the first book, each additional book is 300 yen, so it's worth your while to just make one big purchase when you're ready. You could probably buy multiple books, sell them at an anime convention or through word of mouth and make a small profit.

Thanks, Anon.

I was trying not to go that route 'cause it's a bit too much for me. I got the second book from Amazon US for about $13 a bout a month ago but they don't have the sea animals one which actually I like more.

Not exactly. In fact, I haven't even seen the book in person. I got it and shipped it directly from Amazon to an old friend's kid who loved to craft.

I really would love to have the Sea Animals one for myself. I'd love to have that whale shark and that sea turtle.

You know what, I'll give my friend a call and see if he could make scans of the book (hopefully, his kid hasn't cut it up yet).

I believe this is an earlier edition of that book. It has 5 of the 7 animals, plus two that aren't shown on the original pic.

I looked around online some more, and I found that they may be available through Pie Books. If you're in the USA or Canada, then their distributor is Rizzoli Publications, so you should be able to get it through them. You may have to contact someone from these two directly in order to find out all the ordering information because Rizzoli's website isn't the easiest to search.

Thanks. I just don't think I want the book that badly to go through that much trouble. I did email Last Gasp , an online store that had it on their website, about 2 weeks ago, but never got a reply.

Thanks to everyone for the help. Appreciate it. If Kei Craft sea creature scans suddenly turn up on /po/, you know I got my book.
