Neither, it's not a real sink, in that sense.
You do a crimp (in and out) of the creases on the left. You will now have a 3D model. Flatten it along existing creases.
An alternate method would be to, using the same creases, fold down to the right, and then squash to the left. Then unsink it. If I have time today, I'll try to diagram what I'm talking about.
