Hello /po/

I've been lurking this board for a while now and I want to start papercrafting. Does /po/ have any beginner's stuff? Preferably of war vehicles.

Start with anything you like.
If you can't glue two pieces of paper together, that doesn't mean it's difficult, it just means you don't have the patience to figure out which way to fold the part. There's only so many different ways, and 90% of them won't make sense, so if you just try a bunch of ways (it's papercraft, print new parts if you fuck up) you're sure to find the right way...

When people say: this is a difficult papercraft, they don't mean ZOMG I can't build it, they meanholy crap this is so poorly designed that I don't want to waste my time on it because it will require lots of time and will look crappy in the end. ;)

Sometimes "difficult" just means it'll take a really long time. Also, there are times that folds are difficult to make, or hard to glue together because of the size, or shape. I've only been card modeling for a little over a year now, but I've seen enough to know there definitely are difficult models.

Lack of instructions also contributes to the difficulty.

Go to the store and buy a pack of #110 8.5 x 11 cardstock (if you live in America).

Yeah, it'll be called something else over...wherever you are, but its definitely out there.

I don't think any of us would do much building if we had to manually cut pieces like that.
