New noob

protip: read all pages first. There's usually at least 3 threads like this at any given time.

summary: whatever works best for you. for beginners, we find cardstock and white glue (like elmer's) works best, be sure to score lines before folding (that means going over them with something dull to make the paper thinner and easier to bend)

be sure to apply glue thinly and hold the pieces in place until it sets (gets sticky enough to not move on its own) most of us use toothpicks or cotton swabs.

for small bits, a pair of tweezers/forceps makes things much easier.

and generally go slow and be patient, the increased quality of the end result is worth it.

sorry and thank you. they should sticky a thread like this so noobs can know what to do

Also, consider buying one of those segmented utility knives, or an X-Acto knife, and some kind of cutting board (I use my lil bro's dry erase board). It'll make cutter many times more easier than with scissors alone.

Am I the only one who thinks that they should sticky a thread like this so that we stop having 3 different threads at any time asking the same thing?
