Ok, does anyone here actually have and use one of these for papercraft? And, if so, does it rock as hard as I hope it does?

I'm seriously considering the purchase.

no, actually I find very relaxing cutting the pieces of the templates by myself, i don't understand why some people RAGE about that.

and about the atomatic cutter if you have the money and you want to make many papercrafts as possible buy it.

The only thing these are good for is batch cutting, like if you have many pages of the same thing. Before you can cut out anything you have to load each page into the craftrobo software and trace all the lines you want it to cut. It does do scoring as well as cutting and perforating, I suppose if you want extremely accurate cuts and scoring it would be worth it, you could always sell precut pages like tank tracks plane formers atc.

I agree with the above, if you hate the cutting out and can afford it go ahead and buy one. But the cutting the pieces is half of the model itself, so I like to do it. It gives me more a sense of achievement once I've finished the model.

Though it is a time saver, I think it's cheating.

Aren't you supposed to cut out your own papercraft?

It would be useful only if A) you are making a very, very complex papercraft that requires the cutting out of complex shapes or B) you own a large papercraft publishing company and you need to make your art look absolutely perfect for build pictures.
