I never find these "I downloaded more papercrafts than you lol!!" competitions very interesting, for the same reasons I never download big (like Gig+) torrents. There's just not that much quality papercraft I personally find worth downloading, so those big archives some people share, usually just have any papercraft they could find, but they don't realize much of it might not be very fun to build (since they see the file name, see that it's from a popular anime or game or something and they download it without checking). So 90% of the stuff I'm not interested in, and the 10% I might want I already have since I also have an internet connection with 4Chan /po/ and Google... ;)

Shit and I thought /b/ was hostile. I was attempting to gauge my addiction. To shut me up? When was I verbose? Ilucifera will forever be etched in my mind as a faggot. Papercraft is not pokemon collecting FYI.

I wasn't interested in started a competition. I just wanted to see if I was going overboard.

See pic. Soon all of this will be in my folder.

Right now I made about 4 papercrafts out of.. 700mb.

Well you're obviously NOT going overboard.

Ilucifera. I think you need anger management.

You are an idiot. You act way too stuck-up than him, you know.

I have about a gig, not much, I only save those I REALLY want in my collection, plus some that seem hard to be used as practice.
OP, downloading shit just for your collection is worse than watching animu just because it's animu. Download it because it's cool, dammit.

But that's exactly what's gonna happen when you start a thread with >This is how much papercraft I have: So how much papercraft on your computer?
I agree with>>98143I'm not gonna waste my time and resources downloading hueg archives filled with papercrafts I don't want anyway. But I know some people are more collectors than builders and they love big file collections, so torrent all you want for them ofcourse.

OP here: Why does a sizable collection automatically entail that it's crap? Folder used to be bigger but I pruned out the weeds.

It will surprise you all that I'm very happy with all of the model in that folder. Pic related, I still have to build it.

They're Blizzaia, Zenith and Weapon from the FM4 site:
http://www.square-enix.co.jp/fm/
Click Series, Front Mission 4, then the moonspeak between Wallpaper and Movies.
http://chokipeta.jp/C00_Download.htm has alternate part for the Zenith.

>>98161Aston Martin DBR-9 scale 1:18 model from http://www.extazaweb.sk/astonmartin/

For the same reason why people WITH a sizable collection think all other people like exactly the same papercrafts as they do.
What you call awesome, I might call crap. Then again, I might call it awesome too.
The main thing is, that you get your papercrafts the same place that I do. So any papercraft that I call awesome, I will already have.
What does all this mean? It means that you should share your papercraft folder if you want to, and that you shouldn't do so if you don't want to. So that people can download it if the want to, and don't download it if they don't want to. Simple, no?

The one good thing about threads like this, is that when people post a screenshot of their papercraft folder, it often turns into a /r/ thread, which often delivers without having to download a large torrent archive. Ah, the irony... ;)

I thought I was getting obsessive with my paltry 900 MB of papercraft. So I come here to asking a simple question. I'll stick to /b/ from now on.

Only 2.4 Gigs
