I think someone tested it out before, and he said that overall it's faster and easier to cut it out yourself.

Op here

well i tested it on the ceiling cat and it cut it great!

now for the reason no pdos, i was on my aunts comp when i typed up the message and i couldnt be stuffed downloading pepakura viewer. Does sum1 have the link for the version that is compatable with craftrobo? im guessing that means it creates the outlines for me.

only problem i have found when using normal paper, is that after i peel it off the mounting card for the cutting, it is curved, but i dont think that should happen with card stock.

Please describe the use of the CraftRobo in regards to making a paper model. All I've ever seen one used for is making cards and cutting out letters. You have to trace it, first? There's no automatic mode?

I'd consider buying one if it made the process of cutting out all the little pieces easier without a lot of extra work on my part. ::lazy::

there is an automatic mode. its called autotrace, and u set the tolerance. i used the autotrace function to trace cieling cat. only part i had to add myself were 2 lines on that top part where the tabs have no gap between the tab and the part of the cat. it really works well

could this be used to cut out stencils from pictures i print or import into the software?

THE use for craftrobo is if you want to make a dozen of so of the same cuts.
If you like gadgets, you can use it for one time simple stuff too.
For more complex papercrafts that you only want to do once, well it's your money if you want to get one.
If you just download templates but never build any, I would also recommend against getting a craftrobo. ;)

op here again. The main thing that i was going to use it for was really small repetative cuts like on that working gun where there is like 50 small tabs that need to be cut and crap. I didnt buy it, my aunt bought it ages ago for scrapbooking so yea.

Their site made it seem like it only works on A4 sized paper. Does it work with standard Amerika paper?
