New to origami. Wanting to pick it up for awhile now.

I was wondering if a printer can print out origami paper (no idea how thick it is).

Before someone else blasts you- origami is not the same as papercraft. The pic you attached is a papercraft model.

Origami: folding only (occasionally some cuts), usually one piece, uses lightweight paper

Papercraft: many pieces, lots of cutting, folding, and gluing. Uses heavyweight paper.

As far as your question, I generally use cardstock (as does most of /po/) and most printers have no trouble with it. I paid $70 for a cheap HP all-in-one and it handles it fine.
