Help me /po/! I need to hide my face! Anonon
well, /po/ple, I was invited to a video game costume party at a local college (video games, drinking, some very hot nerd girls I know), but all of my money must go towards gasoline and now I can not afford a proper costume. My decision is to make a papercraft helmet or mask, but the only decent ones I have are the halo helmet and a combine soldier helmet. I need more options!

Please post your masks so that I might be the nerd everybody shakes their head at for wearing a video game mask instead of being the nerd everybody shakes their head at for not wearing a costume at a costume party.

Pyramid Head is attached simply because he's awesome.

By any sort of raep?
>> Transceiver
All kinds.
>> Anonon
I'm not going as pyramid head because somebody else already claimed the costume. Same thing with the Companion Cube mask over at www.threepanelsoul.com - I wasn't sure that i was going to be able to make the party so I didn't claim any costumes.

The party is tomorrow, so once again I'd appreciate the help. Thanks, /po/!

Is the Halo Guy taken?

>> Anonon
no, but I don't have the cash to pick up any fiberglass resin or the like. I just happen to have a lot of paper of various weights and would like to do this with as little non-paper as possible (though I plan to spray it with enamel to give it some toughness when I'm done.) Thanks for the suggestion, though.

simple cut out masks of various star wars characters

storm trooper helmet (full size, wearable, requires card stock, copy paper and b/w printer, possibly something translucent black so you can see out the eyes.)

cool, thanks Moony. Only problem is Star Wars isn't allowed because it's movie first and video game second.

There are way too many rules for this thing. Still, I really appreciate those masks.

why don't you try a head of one of the final fantasy characters of sane person?
http://www.freewebs.com/saneperson/models.htm
cloud would be like "OMG awezum he owns us all lulz"
>> Xydirus
in the case you made cloud, you could use some black wide pants (do not know if they are called like that) , tie them at the bottom to make them look like Cloud ones (I doubt you have purple pants...) and a black sleeveless shirt... also, if you made the shoulder armor:
http://www.freewebs.com/chamoo_papercrafts/newestpapercraft.htm
you would probably OWN every one else...
>> Anonon
xydirus, that's a damn fine idea. I wouldn't even need a mask for that one (though I'd have to murder my naturally brown hair). Still not decided, though, I don't have the shirt and pants for it (damn my love of jeans and t-shirts)

Any more ideas? I'm sure other /po/ple could benefit from hiding their face besides me.

you could go as the lie cake? dress in all brown, glue a candle and 8 red pom-poms to a hat?
>> Xydirus
mmm, maybe some black jeans and some old black t-shirt that you could cut the sleeves and using it inside out to leave it all black... anyway, let me think about a jeans character, or about some other cool mask...
