I have lots of free time and very little money, so I'm turning to origami for some of my Christmas gifts. I want to make a bouquet of paper flowers, but there are tons out there. What are your favorite flowers to fold, /po/? Which ones do you think look the nicest? Easy-ish ones or really detailed instructions would be cool, since I'm still pretty new at this.

I'm also looking for some neat origami boxes/baskets, if anyone has any.

Here's a free e-book that contains lots of flowers. I'm sure you'll find something in here. They are all very easy and have clear instructions. There's also a basket in the instructions, I think.

I'll look for some instructions on how to make boxes later on.

I prefer the lily, simple to make yet elegant looking.

Not exactly an origami thing, but similar to the picture you posted.

There are some other awesome gift ideas on that site all involving paper.
