what does /po/ think of 3D printers?
>> To sage or not to sage... that is the question. !!u7H15vJR6mX
WTF?!
http://www.zcorp.com/documents/114_450Video.wvx

Impressive. However, needs a price reduction.

$20,000 for the monochrome. $40,000 for the color. $50,000 for the deluxe color.

Plus, it outputs a solid 3-d model, not what we make here. Still... if I had 40 grand to blow...

actually a lot bigger than a piece of paper. a piece of paper doesn't really take up all that much space.

it uses fine sand and lasers.

it places a small layer of sand then lasers shoot that sand that they want to harden. it melts the sand. and they go layer by layer

If you watch the video... the completed object ends up surrounded by non-bonded powder, which is then vacuumed away, leaving the product, which just needs to be cleaned off with compressed air and then covered with a finishing solution.

Well, then just ignore my posts. Insulting me won't make me stop answering posts, researching models, and the like.

Instead of paying me negative attention, why don't you pay the folks who have donated their time and efforts into making models for /po/, such as (picks one randomly) Pixel-Kakashi some respect?
