honest question: has anyone here successfully completed a GPM-style military vehicle insanity model without knowing polish/german/swedish/etc? the construction reports on kartonbau.de make them seem like an awesome way to waste one's life, but looking at the instructions and pieces, i'm not sure it's even worth touching. thoughts?

pic frustratingly related.

To answer that, every instruction actually has images, showing what should go where. If a model i complicated, whole construction process is shown this way. Best example? Find yourself a Halinski Bergepanther. Plus parts are numbered and sometimes, where places for gluing other parts are, their number is also printed.

During my paper modelling days, I have never used written instructions. Pics, research material and intuition. Works quite well, especially when I know instructions can be FUBAR (some Ma?y Modelarz ones were).
