Is there a version of that clous without lines? I hate to be lazy, but I dread having to remove them myself.

I'll take another look at chocobo and hi-res cloud tomorrow to see if I can speed up the process any... I haven't textured hi-res cloud but I think I finished fixing the model so that it's buildable.

I don't know if pepakura can handle that many polygons though...

Pepakura can handle *a lot* of polygons, the real question is, can *you* handle that many polygons?
What I usually do with big and/or complex models, is break them down into several pieces (with a character for instance: head, torso, arms, legs) and make a seperate Pepakura file for each of them. It's much easier to work with small components than it is to work with one big model in Pepakura. Sometimes, you won't even be able to see what you're doing in Pepakura if you try working on a more complex 3D model as a whole.

sexy~!
make a tut on ripping ff7 models and bringing em to Pepakura??
I've played with Leviathan and bitTurn a bit but no results..
>> Jamis
>>36306
weeeeell the current problem is that bitturn outputs sloppy dxf files. Maya hates working with them and it slows down to the point where it crashes...

anyone have a dxf file reformer? or maybe a converter from 3ds to dxf that works well?

I'll dig out my 3d max discs and see if i can remember how to use it...

oh this cloud is great..

>>36332
mirex has a great page on ff model usage, what you need is to use the model viewer leviathon to see what you want then rip the models out into .obj format with a dif program. do a google search on leviathan and go to mirex page it is quite informative
