Sorry I just got off work so I'm gonna start modeling it now. I want Sniper Joe to be removable and his shield to pivot like in the game, but I don't think I have the capability yet to make his legs movable. And don't worry, he won't just stand straight up, I just wanted to draw out his proportions before-hand.

While at work today I was thinking about using a modified wooden clothespin at the knee joint to make a jumping Sniper Armor, like it does in the game. But that would take a lot of beefing up...

And for future reference, pretty much everything I make is from MM2, as it's the awesomest in the series! =p

All the Airman and Woodman made me want to play Megaman 2 again. The best I ever got 10+ years ago was the first stage of the Dr. Wily map, with the dragon boss. Right now I'm on the last one before Dr. Wily.

This being said, right now I am in a huge nostalgia state, and definitely want this to become a papercraft.

Here's a mockup of Sniper Joe. I don't want to make him too big so as to keep the Sniper Armor at a reasonable height, Joe is ~1/2 the height of Armor, so he will be fairly simple shapes. His gun arm will be able to rotate 60^ up and down, and his shield will rotate 90^ side to side, like in the game. Also, his torso pops off at the belt so he can be placed on the armor. It sounds weird but it allows his legs to be in his wide firing stance.

I made a few of those a while back. I think that I only released the mega buster/ arm cannon though. It was in 1:1 scale. The entire idea didn't turn out too well.

I'm building him tonight. It's been a week full of birthdays and family events so I havent put much effort into this. That, and I found that Hobby Lobby sells individual cardstock in multiple colors, so I'll be doing Devastator after this....
