Hourglass? Anonymous
Is there an hourglass papercraft? I've searched google and keep finding nothing useful.

Can I have a little help /po/?

Sorry if this gets doubleposted, internet acting odd.

Because I have an obsession with timekeeping papercraft, clocks, watches, and a few other thigns.

I just can't find a papercraft of a hourglass.

(Heck, the sundial was easier.)

I believe there's someone on Nintendo Papercraft making the Phantom Hourglass... There hasn't been an update in a long time, though.

does it need to be functional, should I ask...

I can whip up a model for you, but it won't be textured or... useable...

lol, im not the op, but seriously, there is no way in hell you can make it functional.

make it kind of triangly, but a curved triangle, and at each point, make a circle, about 1/3 the size of the triangle, and make a pillar like thing come down into the bottem, about half the size of the circle area

I'd be lazy and get two small paper cups, put those together with a small tube for the imaginary sand to fall between them, then make the top, bottom, and rods on the sides just from whatever I had laying around. Coasters and pencils aren't paper, but I can see those working to make a rudimentary hourglass.
