after about a week, working about an hour a day (have to wait for paper to dry before wetsculpting another section) kamiya's dragon is finished. :)

done in kraft paper if anyone's interested.

Well done. I'm curious, how much did the instructions for Kamiya's Dragon cost?

go to origami-usa.org and search "kamiya". it costs $53.. if you're not in the US, i'm not sure whether they ship worldwide. either way it's pretty hard to get hold of..

Yeah. I knew they cost some money. Someone was asking for Kamiya's Bahamut on here not too long ago, and I decided to Google for more information.

Damn, you beat me to it. I was also in the middle of making his dragon! But yours looks very awesome; I wasn't even thinking of wetfolding it. The concept kind of scares me; paper gets so fragile when damp.

I did this about a few months ago, with a 14" sheet of gold foil with the white side painted black, which became the outside color when finished.

Personally, I think yours looks better. But I wanted to know, what was the starting size of the sheet?
