Hi guys. I'm addicted to modular origami, but I don't have the patience to fold 120 pieces of paper to get something done, they take too much time. I'm more for the 'simple' origami that still looks cool, like the omega star (pointy, cute and made from 6 papers - can't beat this!).

So, requesting more modular origami, specially if they are spiked, not those boring dodecahedron and etc.

I'll post the 6 pieces omega star as soon as possible, i'm having a bit of trouble getting the, through the internet.

Also, is there a scan from Tomoko Fuse books? I can't find them anywhere...

6 pieces of paper? In the book "Animal Origami For The Enthusiast" by John Montroll, instructions for one of those stars is there... made out of ONE SHEET OF PAPER. Sure, it's hard to get it to look as good, but it's one sheet :)

The book's bigger than my scanner, but perhaps tomorrow, if someone else doesn't turn up scans, I might try to share.

Nah, let's not wait until tomorrow. Let's use an old video camera to take a few still shots and share. The thing is simple enough to make to pull off even with the horrid picture quality.

...and one last shot to show the full 2 oversized page spread as it appeared in the book. That's the same star, right? Enjoy making it from one piece of paper.

thanks for the scan, but it would've been better if you used another format to save on file size.

Sorry, it was 1 in the morning, and I wasn't going to change any settings on my camera or computer; I took the pics, uploaded to the PC, uploaded to 4chan, and went to bed.
