/po/, if you're like me, you don't live in Japan. Which is where the topic of today's thread comes from, Japan. Pokepark. What was Pokepark? It was a Pokemon theme park, everything was Pokemon. The rides, the prizes, the attractions, the food, EVERYTHING was Pokemon.

What does this have to do with papercraft you say? Well as we all know, we have one huge chunk of unobtained papercrafts made by papercraft legend Chokipeta. It just so happens that Mr. Chokipeta himself made a papercraft resembling every single ride in the Pokepark, and gave those papercrafts away exclusively at the park. Here today, I am going to give you some of those crafts.
>> GoblinGuy
     File :-(, x)
Now with every set of good news, there's some bad news. The bad news is I didn't get every single one, just some.

These papercrafts in particular are different from Chokipeta's other models. Usually I would just post them and leave the cleaning up to you guys, but these models are pre-cut. A lot of the cut lines are hard to see, and could be erased when cleaning up. Since I have the originals to compare to, I'll be cleaning them up myself, and I take forever to do that. So be patient, but the first one I will be bringing you in a little bit will be the one in the picture.
>> GoblinGuy

You know what? Screw it. I take too long and it looks too shoddy. Have a field day cleaning these up, /po/. Just post about a particular section if you have trouble seeing what's where.

Woops. Didn't crop off the white on the right and bottom of that one. Whoever cleans it up, keep that in mind, kay?

Now for the two models that aren't on his site. The first is like a stand for all the Pokepark models. Three parts. 1/3

And last, the super-exciting, terribly complex model. Warning: only papercraft master's can even dream about attempting this one. If you started within the past 3 months and you're dreaming about attempting this one, you have just crushed your own hopes of ever completing it.

BEHOLD! The Pokepark entrance sign!
>> GoblinGuy
     File :-(, x)
After looking at the stand closely, I think this is one entire set of two sets. Because there's only so many spots where crafts can go on that one. If this is true, then I feel I accomplished more than I thought.

But I am sad that it didn't include this one, because it's my favorite of all of them. :(

Where did you find all these?! And how the hell did my ink cartridge manage to survive all this?!
>> GoblinGuy
>>170430
That's why you gotta wait for someone to clean 'em up!

Also I got them when someone was selling them on Yahoo Auctions Japan. It was scary, too, because I waited until the last second to bid on the item. When I finally bid, I was the winner, however, someone else had bid on it at 25 seconds left, and my bid was higher than his at 24 seconds left. Got him by one second. :)
>> GoblinGuy
     File :-(, x)
>>170433
That being said, it's not like these are easy to come across. I've seen tons of magazines that normally would contain Chokipeta papercrafts, but every time I e-mail the people selling them, I get the same response. "Sorry, it's been ripped out already".

Instructions time.

I'd clean, but I'm not really in a cleaning mood right now. I'm currently swamped distracting myself from making the Weighted Companion Cube by distracting myself from WALL-E by making the Icthus7 variations of Chokipeta's Four Swords Links.

Maybe I can slip in a few to distract myself from Red Link.

I'm doing the three one-sheeters up there. You can do the two-sheets and the one three-sheet base thing. After that, we can pool our money together, take a cheap flight to Japan, and find and kidnap Chokipeta so that we may have access to all of his past models.

After closely inspecting them, the only thing's wrong (which isn't really wrong, per se) is that the bottom right piece on the Chansey/Kangaskhan ride has 3 pieces that are cut-out, and they're still there. Thanks for the coaster. Unfortunately there are still some problems with some of the cleaned up versions in that zip, which is why I wanted to do it, no offense. It's just that there are some things you can't even see in the scans that belong on the models, and whoever gets these in the future might have trouble building them because of these problems.

Nice, dude. How'd you know where everything goes?

>> GoblinGuy

1) I can read Hiragana so I just matched the words. Even if you can't read Hiragana you can still just match the words from the ride templates to the base template. Despite this, I decided to be stupid and NOT read them at first, so I put the Jiraichi model down without even looking at the words. Turns out it was the wrong place! Yay!

2) Only if someone sells it. Who knows who still has the papercrafts and hasn't made them yet? And who knows if I'll even win the auctions if they're ever put up? Can't ever tell, but I look every single day on Yahoo Auctions for everything that could possibly lead to Chokipeta models, so don't worry. I've got every inch covered.
>> Anonymous !bgREVLN8FU
>>171320
1) Sounds reasonable.
2. Not every angle, we need to set up a tracking system connected to Chokipeta him/herself so we'll be able to sneak into their house, steal some sheets, scan them in and post them on /po/, and hightail it before the fuzz gets there.
>> GoblinGuy

All the parts to the Dante model are where scanned together but separate in a way you can cut them out. There's pages for front and back, the scans themselves are too light and need contrast to bring colour in. Don't know if the download link to model is still functional, last time I checked on po/ archives it came up with a message the image is unavailable or something. I do remember printing out the templates which are over 20 pages. If you want the file I have somewhere on disk, it will take sometime to find and upload it.
