1/1900 Danube-class runabout Anonymous
Just thought I'd share my madness with /po/.
After building the Jem'Hadar attack fighter by Paragon (http://www.freewebs.com/paragon19/) and the USS Defiant by Zosho (http://www.geocities.jp/ikenohata2005/papermodel2-e.html), I decided I needed a runabout at the same scale. So I hacked out a 1/1900 paper model. At this scale, a 23 m ship should be 1.2 cm- mine ended up 1.3 cm. I'm currently working on refining the design- once I finish tweaking it, I'll post it here.

Another shot, a close-up of the craft on a ruler. Unfortunately, my camera wouldn't focus correctly, so I apologize for the image quality.

And for those who don't know what this is- it's a ship from Star Trek DS9, a bit larger than a shuttlecraft (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danube_class_starship)

I think i see how you did this...
The nacelles and hull are the only things that are actually folded into a 3D form, the rest of the details use the thickness of the paper for their height.

Close.... I actually made the nacelles with four strips stacked horizontally and then a strip on each side. The final nacelles will be built the same way, except that rather than a strip on each side, there will be a single strip that wraps around the front so the nacelles look better from the front.
