Enlarge parts? Sea Lion (>:3=
Hello /po/, I have a question here concerning Pepakura...

I'm trying to get a Kitsune papercraft started but I want to do bigger pieces. I would like to have bigger pieces and print more than 2 sheets of paper for the craft. I tried doing it normal size last time but I'd always fuck it up with my gigantic hands.

Is there a way I could enlarge the parts somehow, adjust them, whatever?

You can't adjust the parts. They are like an image. You can print it on bigger paper, if you want it bigger.

Yeah, but I don't know how to extract the images short of printing it out and rescanning it.

At worst:

1. Printscreen. It's a button on your keyboard.
2. Paste into Paint.
3. Stretch/skew. 200% is probably good.

Paint in XP even supports antialiased resizing, meaning it won't look shittily pixellated.

isn't that Paint.NET?

I don't think the re-sizing options are available in Viewer.

Use PDF file printer such as 'PDFcreator', then rip the images from PDF,
or by some means make an image file
DO NOT STRETCH IMAGE!!
(>>119183lol wut ROLFMAO)
... cut the image and put parts on "smaller" pages, some parts may need to be split to fit
(pages "print to fit sheet")
"lasso", "color wand" and "polygon" select tools to separate the parts and move them to the new page size.
Example is double-sized model.

get pepakura designer.
use this cd key:
0285-3242-3589
go into 2D window menu, select recalculate parts layout.
under the parts layout menu, select the "specify value" ticker.
input how big you want the model to be (in centimeters) and pepakura designer automatically resizes and arranges the parts for you.
you can also rearrange the parts as you wish.

This is how I made my 45 centimeter Miku.

Newfag question:
What is the source of this model? I swear I've seen it before, but I have no idea what the name is or anything.

>> For the lazy ~
For the lazy, or people who have no idea what is going on I decided to upload the upscaled version.

It is 25cm tall when finished. I have have test printed the parts and they look fine to build. I recommend downloading the original archive as it has the build instructions. I have removed all the text labels except for the model details refer to the original if you need help.

I also recommend using at least 160gsm paper to make her, anyway the link is :-

Oh yeah I almost forgot you need to set your print options to landscape to print correctly. Some printers are not smart enough to automatically detect the print alignment.

I might have a go at making her over the weekend, I already have the original sized one. If I do make the larger one I will post for comparison.
