Back again. You can get a random final product from him for free just by clicking on the appropriate link on the website. I think only the Spiky Baby is available right now. I think someone stated that if you wanted all of him, you could simply email him and ask for the templates. They're not usually mass distributed online or anything. Just something for strangers to collaborate on.
From the Spiky Baby I've downloaded and put together before, the template is password protected, so the password would be necessary to modify it. The instructions for working back and forth say that you send the pattern back to him and he will send you back the final template, which he will build one of and put it up on his website. Even if he did give out the password for modifying the template, I personally wouldn't share the original. I would possibly print it and scan it in again, or do something to greatly reduce the template from the original quality. But the original is his work, and he's being kind enough to try this form of collaboration online.
With how nice and simple his website is, I can't help but wonder if he is or ever has been in webdesign. He seems to have all the tools for it.
