Pokemon Anonymous
Some guy posted a few weeks ago a collection of fuckawesome origami pokemon, notably a two-toned Rattata. He had a few models up but like a retard I didn't save them, and now the thread's gone (I swear /po/ gets faster every time I come here).

So, /r/ that, and ITT: All and any pokemon origami.

Rather dull but quick/easy Pikachu:

Also, fishgoth has a shit ton of awesome dinosaurs. I don't come here often, though, so I don't know if you /po/eple already know about fishgoth. But it's good, if you don't.

Were they diagrams or just pictures? Because the Rattata sounds like mine but I haven't diagrammed it yet. I do have Mew and Chikorita diagrammed; they can be found on the /po/ Wiki with some of my non-Pokemon diagrams. I still need to diagram Espeon/Umbreon/Jolteon (what won my poll), but it might be a while due to some issues at home.

And yes, fishgoth is awesome :)

oh god Rattata I want it so bad. If only I wasn't on a laptop. 3D modeling = a bitch with no mouse
>> Soldermelons
>>151399
can't you plug a mouse into your laptop?
>>
>>151408
Of course he can, but that means admiting that he doesnt really want to bother contributing, just building the finished product and complaining if its crap
>> Anonymous
>>151196

Yep, it was yours :3 Sorry to hear about that.

Saging this because it doesn't really need a bump right now, but I'm watching this thread for any replies - anybody willing to tell me the address of the /po/ wiki? Board related things are hard to google since the slashes aren't counted.

PMF, can I see your rattata model?

would need a USB mouse. Don't have the budget for one right now. Which is sad because they're only like $10.

fuck you

it would probably look something like that

you used the .3ds rip from pokemon stadium yeah?
>> POdragon
>>151655
I have those rips. The good thing about the rattata model is it's built solid, and the only intersecting parts are the whiskers.
I don't really care for its looks, though. :P

Hmmmm.... I wonder... could we make a pikachu from the Box Nekos?

I just started on it. I couldn't do the ears though. They need to be at least recolored.

Here's my attempt at the ears.
Never tried reshaping parts by hand but seems easy on a model like this.

erhh... um... didn't he asked for ORIGAMI pokemon?
>> Anonymous

Mine turned out pretty badly but it was a very fun model to make - I got confused at the part where you fold all the sides into the centre but after I made the flat head I got back on track again.

3 more pics to follow, along with a somewhat horrific back view that I'm nearly worried about getting banned over for non-worksafe content.

Next shot. Notice how I managed to slightly screw up every aspect, but retain enough of the basic idea to make it passable as a Mew? :3 I really should make it again with good paper when I get some.

Not enough genetic variation between the parents =[

Origami is way to complicated for such shitty results.. not worth the effor imo.
>> Anonymous
>>151957

Trust me, the shitty results are all on my part, and the fun is mostly in the folding anyway. I shouldn't really have been using plain A4 printer paper, either. You can't honestly look at the Rattata in that pic and say it isn't awesome you can fold it all from a square of paper.

:D! Even if yours didn't turn out so good, I'm still very happy you folded my model! I guarantee the more you fold it, the better it will look. After all, it did take me a while to perfect the design.

Fucked up the head which left the head fine but the mew way too tall, but it's small and on a scale of 1-10 I'd rate it fairly kawaii, so I consider it ok :3

did anon deliver, also this guy has a couple of other ones, mudkip, mew, dratini etc. and I was wondering if anyone had the instructions for the mudkip origami
>> A.r. !!1J3JRobqN2a
>>153049
Haven't made diagrams for Mudkip yet, and as I said due to personal issues it may be a while before I am able to make them. In the meantime, I'll say that both Mudkip and Rattata are from a blitzed fish base, so if anyone can figure them out from there...
>> Anonymous
Could anon please deliver Mudkip?

Bump. BTW, I'll be selling origami in the Artist's Alley Marketplace at AWA this year. One of the things I'll be selling are "Mystery Eggs". Basically, origami Pokemon, dinosaurs, and fantasy creatures that will come in origami eggs. What do you guys think of that? Pic somewhat related.
