>>204339 I think that if you wanted to make money out of this the only way would be to do commissions. Otherwise you might do what the guy with the mecha (Gundam possibly?) did and release a model template when a certain level of donations are reached.
>>204345 I find remarks like this very humorous. I picture a bored /b/ denizen who's spent long enough in /po/ to figure out what 'buttons' to press to get a reaction. (I think that there are buttons is /po/'s fault. Don't hand out rope when someone wants to hang you). Trolls are only trolls if someone pays attention.
The second type of troll is even more funny, they are actually interested in papercraft but they cross their arms and huff in a corner when things don't go their way. Not going their way could mean:
Why isn't the model available now? It was started yesterday morning! >> Cue butthurt The model isn't available in format X! >> Cue butthurt The model hasn't been released in exactly the scale I want it! >> Cue butthurt The designer needs time to do something else?! (i.e. school, family bereavement, illness). How can they prioritise those stupid things over MY model? >> Cue butthurt
I'm sure you can think of a few more examples but it all sums up to a lot of butthurt and a complete inability to do anything about it other than rage. If you sit back and think about it for a bit it's pretty goddamn funny.
No amount of trolling is going to stop me from releasing a model for the majority of people here that are helping out, creating fucking awesome models themselves, giving advice and just generally contributing. A person wants to get into papercrafting? Just tell them how. Most of them will probably pack it in when they see how much work it is but the few who stick it out will be creating new models. Some people see being nice as being weak. I see being nice as getting us more of what we want.
Anyway, back to papercrafting. :)
