Goblin Complete Anonymous
It's done! Man, this took forever. I'm working on instructions, and I'll post the template and the instructions when I'm done with those. The two or three messed up textures will still be there.

If you try to build this thing, don't say I didn't warn you about the hands. Oh God, the hands. They were so hard that by the second one I just said "screw it" and now the thumb isn't the way it should be. Templates along with instructions should be out later today or tomorrow. I'm serious about the hands...

Now might also be a good time to bring up that my next project is a Mandragora.

The faint colors are just what my camera flash did to the picture. It's a lot darker in person.

Very nice. I wanted to try and make some of the models from XII, unfortunatly the viewer program hates me :(

I'm making the instructions more detailed than I said I would, so I'm pushing the release of the model from tonight-early tomorrow to tomorrow night-early Wednesday.

Bump, and is there any chance you'll make a to scale taru?

I sure can. I just wanted a break to something easy after the level of challenge that the Goblin was. The Mandragora doesn't have complicated parts, and it's a pretty straight-forward model. Once I finish the Goblin instructions I'll begin working on it since the templates are done. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself.

If I make a Taru, what armor should it be wearing if any? No head or hand armor, just body and legs.

The sterotypical Blackmage?
I'm trying to figure out how you did the project as I have the viewer.

There is no stereotypical BLM (blue and yellow-orange) armor in FFXI. The BLM Artifact armor (basically the armor that defines BLM) is in the picture. I've also outlined the button you press to turn the 3D model into something you can put into Pepakura.

All the while I've gotten no instructions for the Goblin done today. Still getting ahead of myself. I also need an alias. I'll think of something I guess.

what do you use to get the models and what viewer do you use
>> Anonymous
>>55758
I get the models directly from the game itself, and I use Foyle's viewer.

AF1 looks better than AF2 anyways.

friend... does speak for me..... did you export the direct models of the it game correct?
me already dump the models of Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2... but do I just get visualize them.... does he have as exporting them somehow for a file 3d?
thx
>> Anonymous
please... software to convert the models of the you love Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 (PS2) or model 3D? reminding that me already dump the disks and I already visualize them in KH Viewer...

I don't know. The Goblin is from FFXI, I only know FFXI stuff.

On another note, I'm getting frustrated just making the instructions. I'm going to put off a specific release date for the Goblin for now.

Good news though. The Mandragora is XBOX huge (totals to 30 cm when built, I have 2/3 of the head done) and it's an easy build to boot. You can expect that in the near future as I know instructions for this won't be hard at all.

just the thought of making a taru is making my imagination run wild. if only we could have a few different face/af combinations and have them all lined up >,<

but if i had to pick, i'd probably go for (in no particular order)
the blm af (though that would look imcompleate without the hat imo)
the standard green overalls outfit
a crafting apron

all of the above with either crafting shades (black would prbably be more recognised, but the clear one would look nice too).

as for weapon i'm drawing a blank.

though the blm in a casting pose, or the taru in the panic (ie.dancing) pose would be great
>> Anonymous
oh, and the event clothing (the yakuta/kimono thingy) in welcome pose or clapping pose would be great too.
