Any good stuff for beginners? And what paper do you use?

Well... you can do:
Solid Snake in a Box
Blur Milks
Optical Illusion Dragon

And many more. I do them with normal printer paper since that's what I've got but cardstock is recommended.

I did my first a few days ago, it was mootcatgirl (pink version). I used 120g paper, printed with a color laser printer and used photoglue, as it doesnt make your paper all wobbly. 120g paper and glue are likely available at your neighbourhood office supply shop.
