So /po/ I need help.

I'm a part-time lurker round these parts, but have always had a great interest in Origami, but never really had time to do anything about it. BUT now I do.

So I have a couple of questions which I would like answered if possible. (I am COMPLETELY new to it, so laugh if you will...I would)

1) Do you have any good websites for my situation?
2) Being a complete beginner, do I necessarily need Origami paper?
3) Know of any good books as well as websites?

Any help at all would be much appreciated, in returns...I handle your /r/'s.

Go here and type origami into the search bar lots of good stuff that beginners can do.

Also go to this site and learn the symbols for directions it's a bit of a pain but once you get use to it you can break away from the videos and understand the diagrams for nicer pieces.
