Does anyone here know how to fold the arms and legs for this GIR?

Nobody?

Seems pretty straightforward- start from the sides of the 'hand', in this case the X'd box, and glue tabs under adjacent sides so it forms a cubic-type shape. What's the problem?

Did that, got real confusing, real fast. It looks to me like there might be too many fold lines or something.

I think the "x-box" is the shoulder joint, where it glues to his body. I made this for a friend, so I don't have it here for reference, but I remember the "top" half of the arm was open, and I angled the shoulder so he didn't look so rigid and his arms splayed out a bit from the body. The feet are really straightforward. You shouldn't have any problems with them. Hope that makes sense and helps...

The arms are fine having too much material. Its the torso missing some on the base that is the pain. I never took the time to edit the file to work (like I did to the MGS Rex/Shagohod).

OP: Here are a few pics of how far I got, not sure if I have the right idea for the arm.

Any input? Output?

The legs you made look fine, but the arms do not. I guess the simplest way to explain it would be to imagine that the two black squares on either side of the white square with the X are little white tabs. That should force you to fold it far enough that it takes the correct shape.

However, like I said earlier, I think the torso is missing something. Either way, this papercraft is just a couple of boxes. It would be easier to just draw it out better on some graph paper and then correspondingly edit the file in paint.

Sweet deal, the arms look done now. And I'm pretty sure the legs are glued on that way, but yeah thanks for all the help.
