Try to experiment with the depth of field, see if low light is for you, hell, try photographing stars, ANYTHING, but do it. Nothing worse than only thinking about photographing I think. Ideas will also come to you when you shoot.
On the other hand completely mindless snapshotting isn't the key either - but that's another question. Just have fun! I LOVE that lens.
