found some time to test my new Camera, would prefer C&C instead of useless sony bashing.

This one could have turned better, a shame there was that couple at the very center, they detract from the subject, the girl on the bike. Should have cropped better?

I tried to convey the contrast between the brightness of the girl's dress againts the darkness of the lady's, more like ingenuity versus malice of grown ups. cutting the lady's head was intentional. could it work better in b/w? in b4 pedobear

this is shit

nice idea very whoever did this first, framing is ok but a "cleaner" crop on the left with the cars would be nicer and then ballance the image out by cropping the right and top to maintain a close ratio.

Some creative shooping can probably get rid of the other people, esp if you planned ahead and took a few shots with the people in different places (but you didnt, right?)

My attention is indeed drawn to the couple in the middle, but not only because they are in the middle.A lot of lines in the picture leads to the couple as well. This cannot be fixed with cropping. It already is quite an extreme crop from the original, which I think might look better. I'd reconsider cropping it so panoramic. There's a nice balance in the picture due to the dark shadows on the right, and the light and bright side on the left in the picture. The clouds are a little too light, there could've been some more contrast. I would suggest to underexpose a little. This would bring out the left side more, and create a more dramatic side on the right. The biker blurred by motion is okay, but is not quite nice, but not quite frozen either. It would've been better to take a slower shutterspeed, giving more blur to the biker.

It's nice to see you have thought about the picture (hopefully while taking it). However, it doesn't show. There is indeed a contrast, but the subject of this picture is the little girl, while the subject should've been the contrast between both of them. This is mostly due to the fact we can only see the lower part of the body of the lady in black. It would've worked better if you had both in frame, while trying to not have the little girl on the bottom of your frame. The car in the background is distracting. A shallower Depth of Field would've worked. Her expression is bland. Next time, wait longer till you get a more interesting expression, or find a way to get her attention, so she looks at you. That would've contrasted better with the lady still looking to the left and what looks like, in a hurry.

The couple adds to what otherwise would've looked like a shoddy allusion to a photograph of Cartier-Bresson. I like it.

>>206988
It could, maybe, let's see. Either way, needs more contrast. Don't worry about clipping your blacks, or much about clipping whites on a dress.

>>206990
Meh. Composition is boring. Work static subjects too much, literally, and continuous situations, too. Just keep shooting, get the lazy, boring, obvious compositions out of your eyes.

Interesting abstract, would look great as a decorative mural in some weird minimalist design, but as a photograph-as-photograph it's not much.

Photographs of art are rarely art themselves. Both acceptable "here it is" photos, but nothing worth talking about from a photographers perspective.

That and 27mm isnt wide.

Focal Length (35mm Equiv) 27 mm

18mm x 1.6 crop factor = 27mm

27 at 35mm equiv is wide. anything under 35 (35mm equiv) is wide. are you sure you know anything about photography?
