You know, I could vaguely understand imprinting the date on the picture for film. Don't agree with it, but understand it. But why the hell would anyone do it with digital? With digital, you can put the time in the EXIF and not fuck up the photo.

A LOT of people do it. They do it mostly because they bought a digital camera to save money not because it was a digital camera. I'm sure if you ask around you'll find someone you know who has a digital camera but doesn't have a computer. I can personally think of three without even trying hard.

Actually, thinking about it, I don't think I know *anyone* who doesn't have a computer.

(I'm a computer programmer)

Really? I don't mean know as a friend, just people you know in meatspace.

Don't see how that's relevant unless you're trying to insinuate that you're a sociopath who doesn't leave the house save to stalk and feed :3

I moved to Buffalo following my girlfriend. I don't know anyone here outside of work (and I work as a computer programmer). I went to a techie university, so all of my college friends have computers. The only friends I've kept in touch with from earlier schools (i.e., high school and elementary school), I've kept in touch with through the Internet. My dad's also a computer programmer, so my parents both have computers, and so does pretty much everyone in my extended family.

I don't go to bars, I don't go to sporting events, I don't have kids that would let me interact with other parents. I really don't think I know a single damn person without a computer.
