Hey /p/, are there any good photo magazines? My parents subscribed me to Outdoor Photographer when some little girl came around selling magazine subscriptions for a fundraiser, and though are are some GORGEOUS images in it, there's really not much in the way of interesting educational articles and it's mostly just articles by a ton of Canonfags with 1Ds MkIIIs and twelve 600mm f/4s for every occasion giving out idiotic advice to people who don't know what the difference between RAW and JPEG is and shit like that, not to mention they laud every crummy body that comes to their office (who the fuck buys a Samsung DSLR, srsly?). I enjoy gearfaggotry to some extent, but Outdoor Photographer is just ridiculous.Summary: What are some good photo mags that offer good images and INTERESTING, USEFUL articles.EXIF data available. >>225186>>225187I think I've seen a couple of these at Barnes and Noble... Any idea where I'd be able to find LensWork? Like, a website that you can use to subscribe or something?
>>225191Sorry for double post, but can that be found in the US at all?
>>225193http://www.lenswork.com/sampleoffer.htmlIt's more expensive than other magazines, but that's because they do nice printing on good paper, and it's almost all portfolios of work. I loooove it. It's like the good ol' days of Aperture. I consider it a periodical photobook.
>>225190I would buy a Samsung DSLR. The Gx-20 is a brother to the K20D which means insane high ISO performance for the price.oh lawd, i lold
>>225210Thanks!

i subscribed to popular photography because it was cheap, and it's ok, but my favorites are all imports at barnes & nobles. so i sit in the cafe, read a stack of them, and leave. sometimes i buy jpg or b&w for inspiration.
>>225267This.Also, internets.
>>225267this is just right,
>>225267Seconded. You can get them from most used bookstores for like, a dollar apiece, and there's ALWAYS amazing photography in there.
