Also lots of people with parasols, which were being sold there. We overheard this pair referring to them as umbrellas, which made my girlfriend raaaaage.

I think this one is the best out of the 3 you posted. Good composition and colour.

>>253862
A good shot too but doesn't really say "Weeaboo" like the ones with the parasols.

>>253864
average shot if you ask me.

You're a pedophile aren't you?

also, shit sucks.

Sharpen up your images and dont shoot wide open. go to f/4 or f/8 and your lens might produce better results.

Seriously, there is something wrong with your equipment or post processing since I havent seen a single sharp image from you.

Also, shit sucks.

lol 4chan.
Atleast he's out there every day taking pictues. Any picture is better than no picture.

Thats the funny part, he shoots probably more than most of the /p/ and still he cant advance his skills in terms of quality, composition and subjects.

Not bad, a good holiday snapshot, but not much elts...

You shouldnt have cut the top of the girls head off, also, people get beaten up for taking photos like this.

>>253863

Not a very nice shot, I see what you was going for, but the composure is off, and a huge holdback, the subjects are ugly as sin...

>>253864

Again, i see what you was going for, but it never quite came out

These images are perfectly sharp. Go back to your over processed photoshoops.

What the hell is wrong with you??

You cant see a problem with how soft

is??

If no, then put your camera down, and get out, you dont belong here

It's sharp enough to see what's going on. There's more to photography than "SHIT'S SO IN FOCUS".
>> Honest So You Dont Have To Be !9UISPtwBPo
>>254057

Dont try to rely on "theres more to photography than focus!!!"

Yes, selective focus, or good use of soft focus can look fantastic in images, this isnt the case!

He never planned for it, and he never wanted it, it adds nothing to the image, and infact, subtracts from it.

If you hide be hind these kind of arguments, and these kind of photos, you clearly are nothing but a hipster faggot with a noob ass slr, whos thinks "art" is a excuse for sub standard photos....

Where did this guys preaching HIGH PHOTOZ DEFINITION & SHARPNESS came from? Is this all you can comment in a photo?

Poorer image quality photos have won prizes and recognition most of you will never achieve with your SUPERIOR IMAGE QUALITY & SHARPNESS, I remember some months ago a anon posted a polaroid of this girl naked in the window light, the image quality & sharpness was "pretty bad" but the photo was still one of the best posted on /p/.

as for the photos they are quite snapshoty,>>253862does just not work, too centered & lacking interest,>>253863could had worked better with a less busy background,>>253864does not get my attention any way.

TL;DR - go back to your digital photography classes and your justification for buying high end DSLR's .

>Sharpen up your images and dont shoot wide open. go to f/4 or f/8 and your lens might produce better results.
I wasn't shooting wide open. These were taken with my 35mm f/2.0, and exif says I was at f/2.8, so I was closed up one stop.

More likely the problem is that all three of these were shot from the chest while both I and the subject were moving, which means:
1. There's double the chance for motion blur
2. My camera got to choose the focus point.
3. If my camera's not fast enough going from focus to shot, we'll have both moved so that she's no longer in the depth of field that got locked in when it focused.

In the one with the parasols, for instance, my camera chose to focus on the further girl, which put the closer one a smidgen out of focus.

Going all the way down to f/4 might help with all of the depth of field issues, but I worry about the motion-blur that cutting my shutter speed in half again will cause. I'll try it next time I'm out. But honestly, these shots *do* look sharp enough to me...

>>254036
>You shouldn't have cut the top of the girls head off, also, people get beaten up for taking photos like this.
Yep. Like I said, shooting from the chest and moving quickly. The "Don't want to get beaten up" thing was a big reason for that. It also explains (but doesn't really forgive) why I cut off the top of her head--that bugged me too, but I still thought it was a good shot.

>the subjects are ugly as sin...
Er. So you think I should only take pictures of *sexy* children?

I agree with what your saying, its the same point i made, fact is, it dosnt apply here

You cant take examples from well planned out photos, were soft focus adds to the scene, to a shot where he just fucked up
