Hi, this is my first post here. I'd like some feedback, although hopefully it's not too brutal. =) Both pictures were taken at a beach nearby, and were tweaked in Nikon CaptureNX.

Interesting subject. I like the textures. And it automatically gets approval from me because unlike 95% of the photos on here, it's actually in focus.

Thanks! Yes I did a bit of sharpening, but really I think the digital macro on this camera is just slick. I try not to overdo the unsharp because I have trouble getting rid of the artifacts. (I'm new to this.)

Here's the last one I took. I wasn't going to post it because I think it loses the overall shape that makes it cool when it's zoomed in so much. But it's still sort of nice, so why not?
