Reading through that made my head hurt so I didn't bother.
Being emo is actually just consumerism. Record companies and fashion labels come together and create this image by exploiting all the irresponsible teen angst that you don't really have. They bloat it up and make you buy clothes and accessories and make you listen to crap music just to keep it going. "Teens enjoy being miserable!". Brilliant marketing is all it is.
Same as how Nickelodeon is feeding on the "Preteens enjoy pretending to be teens!" craze they've created.
