I'm not sure what sort of bug it is but I think it's a type of bug known locally as a "stink bug" - apparently called that because of the smell when they get squished or they can spray, I'm not really sure cause I never got into bugs.
And no, lol, I don't live near Chernobyl, although I wonder if our air is just as wierd. I live in Ipswich, in South-East Queensland. It's an old coal mining town, coincidentally older than the city of Brisbane just down the river - Ipswich formed first, then Brisbane grew up around the river mouth in Moreton Bay.

55 mm can't focus that close? Uh, yes, it can. I usually take Macro shots with my 55 - 200 mm kit lens, zoomed to 200, but I didn't know if I had time to change lenses before this little guy vanished so I just grabbed my camera and snapped a few shots.
