For the "Understanding Exposure" book, a search on abebooks.com shows it is easily had for under $15 for a physical copy. Do yourself a favor and just buy the book.

To a poor college student, $15 is like $50. So, in my best interest I did a little torrent searching and the best I could find was a scanned copy of Understanding Exposure. So, i'm unaware of the quality. Worth a try anyways.

As for the other book, found it in a non scanned PDF thing:

I understand this fully. Seriously - I don't know how much weight I lost in college buying film instead of food. Shit, in '03 I was spending $100/week on film and processing for 4x5 chromes.

Point being that I'm sure OP can manage to scrape together $15 to buy a legitimate copy of a reference book. It's worth it to have physical copies of books like this. Making notes in the margins is a lot less convenient with a PDF.
