Subtle HDR Anonymous
ITT HDR without all the controls maxed out.
I happened to take this shot with strong sun behind the subject so bracketed and HDRd to avoid blown out sky or black subject.
What does /p/ think??

Erm, I think you could get the same result from a single image with two layers, one with high exposure in the RAW processing, one with fairly low exposure. I don't think you'd need HDR for that.

I think HDR is (other than a bandwagon) for situations where you really need the extra bit depth. That's why you see people abusing it; all the colors and such can be brought out in different detail.
