I'm not the OP, bu tthis is trivial to reverse engineer. Look at the shadow halo around the subject, as well as the ring-formed catchlight in the eyes. This was shot with a ring flash. I can't see any other lights in the scene.

I don't really dig the ring flash look, though they do seem to be all the rage these days.
