vignetting looks bad. This is a fake-vignette technique I use on occasion when my photo looks kind of flat:
1: create new layer 2: click on the half black/half white circle next to the new layer button, then choose "gradient" 3: style: "radial", check mark "reverse" 4: click on the gradient image, slide the white thing towards the center a little bit 5: click okay, click okay again 6: right click gradient layer, choose "rasterize layer" 7: right click gradient layer again, click "discard layer mask" 8: distort gradient layer so the black just trims the edges 9: change layer property from "normal" to "soft light" 10: duplicate the gradient layer [twice if needed]
