a friend of mine had one of these at a party the other weekend. i caught him using it and asked to play with it for a little bit, i've never seen a camera like it. anybody know a lot, or has used this thing? i don't remember which of the samsung "nv" series i played with that night (i was pretty smashed tbh) but it was pretty darn cool and the crazy button-touch rows made navigating menus REALLY fun.

oh Miguel, you cheap slut, lol.

Reminds me of the Sony touchscreen camcorders.

i have a good friend who has one of these.

I only got to play with it for a few minutes but IQ seemed to be decent for a P&S.

Samsung's point and shoots look really awesome, but are mediocre.

I must agree about the navigating part. My friend has one of these and first time i tried it i was impressed by the approach samsung has taken with the menu navigation.

Other than that these are quite normal p&s cameras.

Samsung quality is worst than Kodak, but they have good markeeting and their name sells well.
Through that they sell only crap.

Samsung AutoFocus are always out of focus.

Not to mention that their camera bodies look pretty slick. That's the reason why I'm about to buy a G9. I'm captured by its elegance.

Samsungs aren't THAT bad, I'd take one over a Kodak P&S any day. I took plenty of good pictures on my S500 back before I lost it.
