Use a sharper knife when cutting the rolls. It will give you a cleaner edge, and presentation is a key part of the sushi experience.

Also, I'd recommend against drenching it in soy sauce, but that's just me.

I didn't do it myself - I bought it in a restaurant. And it was my first time eating sushi, ever. I dropped it in the soy sauce by accident. :)

thats the end piece of the roll. its a nice pic, lighting could have been better.
