Does anyone have experience shooting ballet? I'm very new to it. What camera and glass do you sue?

I hate trolls. The S/N ratio on /p/ is horrible, only a few good things buried among the garbage.

Ok, Does anyone have experience shooting ballet and would like to impart wisdom?

No but I imagine it would be akin to shooting any lowlight performance. I think your best bet would be to ask to be allowed in during rehearsals so you could be allowed to strobe the dancers. Otherwise you're likely to end up with overly noise shots, unacceptable blur, and just unusable exposure times.

For lenses and depending on how close you can get during the rehearsal grab a decent wide and a 70-200.

Posting exif with useful information about your typical settings and camera would garner you more of a response from /p/
