fail blood is fail. looks like the blood was poured on her (or it.) after she was wrapped up. If you're going to waste time and set up shots like this, then try to do it properly.

We didn't have corn syrup, and we didn't wanna fuck up her clothes.

So pretty much, we used poster paint and I 'shoped it to look remotely like blood.

I'm actually quite disappointed in it. We're scheduling a new shoot.

<- Something better I've done.

bring extra clothes next time? also try to make the blood less red and more orange. I heard that it gives a better result. Not gonna matter much cause you're gonna shoop it anyway.

More orange? That doesn't make sense.

I thought it was more brown.. or darker
If not it'll look like the blood in Sweeney Todd, and wtf was that.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking.
Like, the pros use corn syrup, I hear.

You really need to use luke warm kero syrup base for fake blood. If you have an issue about clothing cost head over to good will with a 10$ bill and you'll have all that you need. Also now that you know what your lighting is going to be like, do test shots before heading out with your blood blend to make sure it shows up in your shots. My friends and I were going to make a horror movie, but too distracted with making the fun stuff.

Just a refresher on ingredients
Kero Syrup
red and yellow food coloring
a clouding agent, commonly milk, baking soda, or flour

For coagulated blood I recommend using that brown shredded paper ferret liter as the viscous mass.
