These are pretty bad.

First off, i LOVE street, to me its the purest form of photography, and i hope you stick at it!

>>280381

This is just a tourists snapshot

>>280385

This is a nice "canvas", good background, the van gives you a place of interaction..... Go back there and hang around, wait for events to happen, then capture those... the scene itself is not enough.

In this photo there are lots of people, but very little interest, not one good expression, and main focus point seems ot be of subjects not even doing anything at all...

>>280384

Again, the scene has potential.... just wait for it to show

Thank you for constructive feedback. Maybe I'll try it again with more time (and with a fresher roll of film :)

You ruined it. Looked great as it was. Makes you feel as if you were standing there. Our eyes see in landscape, not portrait so it makes sense to use landscape orientation on a wide. Besides, on the left side, you cut out her shadow and the wastebasket also making a shadow, and the other trees making their shadows, and the light source and flaring on the right side. All in all making a very atmospheric scene which is what pulls me into the photograph.

This photo also proves that film has more dynamic range than digital.

Sorry, no. I can't be arsed to develop color film in my own WC and I don't always have access to camera club's lab.

While your improving, make use of black and white film (inb4 insta-art)

You can develop it and print with ease in your own home (enlargers can be picked up for next to nothing on ebay),

and if by using colour your missing out on the darkroom, your missing out on (what i feel is) the most rewarding and enjoyable part of photography

i'm probably being over-enthusiastic here after coming back from a design student exhibition with loads of bw insta-art bullshit, but i love all the photos. especially>>280381and>>280404

Ok, but you're the same guy. I was wondering if another filmfag had spawned here.

By the way, are you planning on taking part in kuunvalokuvausyö (Friday next week)?

Probably, if I happen to find a group first :P

heh, I don't have a group either, plus I'm too lazy to do anything about it. I'll probably end up skipping it, again.
