Great shot, I think the overexposed sky worked well. You could've used a skylight filter or polarizer or something, but I think it works perfectly well this way.

I actually have a shot that was exactly the opposite. The flower was SO BRIGHT that it underexposed the ground below it to almost complete blackness. Really pretty cool.
