Hi,

A few days ago I went into an abandonned theater and took my whole film roll testing and fooling around with my camera. Now I'm really curious about the result, and I was wondering is there was any difference into a 1h development (ie: Wal-Mart's) and a ~4 days drugstore photography section.

I wish I could just develop them myself, but I have no equipment and no darkroom.

bump for general intrest.

I general shoot with my DSLR but recently dug out a old film camera. i go to school in a small town, and the local photography store wants ~$12 to delvelop with color corection and all that were walmart only wants ~$6.

The ~4 day drugstore photography development might (*might*) send your film out to a real lab to get developed. Or they might just do it on their minilab but slack off for longer.

If the latter, there's no difference. If the former, you're somewhat more likely to get your film back without a fuckup.

Also: Wal-Mart is destroying America. I'd recommend getting one-hour-development somewhere else in your town. The vast majority of drugstores can do that.

what kind of film? black and white? print? probably not slide film, but, slide film?

if it's print film, take it wherever. they all use the same fujitsu/noritsu/whatever minilab machines. black and white or slide, take it to an actual camera shop or, even better, an actual photo processing lab.
