I need your advice. Tomorrow I will be going to a big indoor exhibition. I know from past experience that it needs the flash on. However last time I went there I had a crummy Kodak camera with a piss poor flash.
This time I am taking a Canon Powershot S2 IS. I'm wondering if I should turn the inbuilt flip up flash up to full or leave it at default settings and pump the exposure up. I have a bit more control over things with this camera. It will have a UV filter on it so I might need to take the exposure up a level or two anyhow. But this will be my first big test of large indoor photography.
My guess is if it's anymore than say 10 feet away I should be pumping up the flash anyhow?

Don't attempt to play with the flash manually, the camera knows what it's doing.
