Ok, this is the Idiots Guide to Downloading Original, Large, and Medium Pictures from Flickr:
1. Download and install Firefox. 2. Start Firefox. 3. Right below the address bar you will see something called the Bookmark Toolbar. It should have a couple of bookmarks there already. 4. Go to this page http://typewriting.org/2005/10/01/Flickr_Bookmarklet_Update/ 5. Grab the link that says "Get Flickr Original" and move it to the bookmarks toolbar. You will now have a bookmark on the toolbar that is called "Get Flickr Original", except since it's not really a link but a bit of javascript it's called a bookmarklet. 6. Right click on the bokmarklet and in the menu that shows up chose 'copy.' 7. Right click on an empty space on the bookmarks toolbar and click on 'paste.' Now you should have two copies of that bookmarklet. 8. Repeat steps 6 and 7. Now you should have three identical copies of the bookmarklet. 9. Right click on the first one and chose properties. 10. A little window will appear, in that window the first two fields will be 'name' and 'address'. 11. You should probably change the name to something shorter that will take less space on your bookmarks toolbar, like F-o (for flickr original). 12. If you renamed the bookmarklet, click 'save changes.' If you skipped step 11, just click 'cancel.'
