I want to do a zombie shoot similar to the style in that video. I was wondering if anyone had any tips to re-create that oldschool grindhouse film style pre-post processing. I've haven't done a ton of model work and lighting arranging. I figure either really heavy back lighting or straight forward would do it for the most part with a fill on the background? Is it possible to create a controlled vignette on a dslr?

Thanks in advance.

Oh ya, if anyone has any examples of stuff similar to this post it up please.

amazing video. There are plugins to do that kind of thing. Check bittorrent.

video has a lot of light mounted to the camera crap, where the field of view is greater than the light's spread. if you want to make it look grindhouse, do a really terrible job lighting it and up the contrast, and maybe smear some crap on the lens.

or just use a holga.
