i bought an eos rebel t2 and i have 4 or 5 MD style lenses that i can steal from my mom. i also bought a MD to EF adapter. the only problem is that i cant focus on far objects with my MD lenses. is there another adapter i need to get for this? or should i just get new lenses?

When you use an adapter you lose the ability to focus to infinity unless the adapter has correction glass (I think)

Truth. Your best bet is to just bite the bullet and replace your Minolta glass with Canon stuff actually designed for the EOS.

Or buy a MD-mount camera, which can actually be cheaper.
