Doesn't look digital

just look at the first picture, it's obviously from a polaroid!

Nice dust on your sensor, faggot.
>> Anonymous
aha, I get it
>> Anonymous
lul, first of all, its a Pentax K10d.
secondly, the dust is in the lens, which is like 20 yrs old and a 50mm put on a m42-adapterring on my pentax.

if something was a bit more in focus this would be a really nice picture i think

maybe overshooped and kind of deviantish? but whatever i like them
>> Anonymous
I really like the grass in front of house shot, I think it's quite epic.

composition = 0/10

All 3 are overshooped to look fake vintage.

imo, op is doin' it right. I like that look, and that does look a bit like a polaroid. I like the first one the best though, blossoms second!

I think these are both kinda nice and relaxing.

The single cloud in "2nd one" is a bit odd and ronery.

You have my interest. Please explain this. Could be worth a thread on it's own.

This is probably the guy who was making that craptastic ~f/1 ~50mm lens.

>>177742
In a nutshell, Im building a camera from the ground up

>>177753
Exactly. Being limited by the materials available to me, it's likely to be craptastic. I'm still doing it anyways. Rather make something bright although crappy than something slow. If I'm going through so much trouble to make this, why not make it something to look forward to using? At the very least, I'm learning a bit more about the technical aspects of my hobby and how much work goes/went into making the badass gear we have today.

>>177756
Also, if you look closely at that picture, I've taken up the challenge of making it a double element lens

Sorry I keep rambling, but this is the last thing I'll add: It's looking like it's going to be a really long project and for certain, a ton of work. But hey, I want a film camera but dont want to settle for
a) another crappy toycam
b) panfocus camera

I'd take a film slr to complement the digital one I have, but it's not entirely the same thing as crafting it.

That looks like an interesting project.

"I'd take a film slr to complement the digital one I have, but it's not entirely the same thing as crafting it."

If all someone wants is photos on film, well.. cameras are available and that's it. To say it's not entirely same is quite an understatement. Building things is a whole another game.
