Megapixels don't matter too much; don't shop for cameras based on them.

Find a used camera off e-Bay. How big do you want the camera to be.

I'd go for a used Canon Powershot A or G series, depending on which size you'd rather have. The A series is smaller, but the G series is much better. Point and shoots get cheap really fast once they're a couple years old. Have at it.
