Hi everybody. This is my first post on this board, I'm often just on /b/.Anyway, I'm a strict HDR photographer.. and have been for a while now.I will post 3 of my most popular works.-Run Away-
Please do not feed the trolls.
-Bruxelles by Night-
Running.
-Bruxelles Street I-That is all for now.I hope you all appreciate my works.
>>143966I am not a troll....Why would you think so? Is it so unlikely for me to post here on /p/?
Leave. Now.HDR = Instant Art
>>143974Haha, I know you from UG. They don't like HDR here...like, REALLY don't like HDR here.
>>143984Why is that?HDR can look beautiful when executed well.I doubt everyone here would hate my images.
These are all done by zardo @ dA.http://zardo.deviantart.com/
>>143969Good.>>143962>>143972Something is very wrong with the colors in the sky around the power lines. There is a sort of gradient that appears near where the lines are.
A+++++++++ work! Insta-favorite! Thnx or posting! ^_^
>>143987Yeah, that's me. It's nice to see someone recognizes my work.>>143989I actually liked that effect.
>>143989when most people try to do HDR and there are power lines in the shot whatever program is generating the HDR doesn't know how to deal with it and you get that weird stuff around them.
I'll crit these later, but for now, let me just say this: at least the OP knows what he wants to do, knows how he wants to work with his photography. If you can't say that, don't bitch at him for it.
Fantastic captures! I love the tonality in the skies, makes it seem so earthy and post-apocalyptic. It's like you took a picture out of what we all feel inside. The urban environment... The urban emotions.
Boring wide angle shots + HDR. Seen it a hundred times and it's never good.
So boring.Boring shot + HDR = totaly cool and artistic amirite?
FUCKdid you follow me to /p/ or something?anyway, in all honesty..... i don't really admire photographers who do the saaaaame shit over and over and over and over.some of them are decent, but after seeing a few, it just gets very boring.also, the 1st photo has too many errors (halo'ing mainly) which really kills it.instead of processing with photomatix, consider trying other software.
OP gets credit for actually knowing what he wants out of his photography. I normally hate HDR, too, but these are pretty decent.
>>144050anyway, in all honesty..... i don't really admire photographers who do the saaaaame shit over and over and over and over.ahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahold onhahahahahahahhahhahahahah
>>144054So you don't like:Ansel AdamsEdward WestonHenri Cartier-BressonDavid Alan HarveyElsa DorfmanWeegeeBrian UlrichMartin ParrSteve McCurryHerbert List (Okay, his style evolved considerably over *decades*.)Bruce GildenGarry Winogrand
these are terrible. Fucking haloing with photomatic ALL SETITNGZ MAXED OUT LOL. The only excusable use of hdr is the stuff vicent uses it for. Difficult lighting, saving blowen highlights etcSage for stupid thread with stupid pictures and a cocky deviant fag. Fuck off with this shit
>>143972how?
>>144062maybe i should've said..same boring shit over and over and overoh wait.. i did>but after seeing a few, it just gets very boring.many of the photographers you mentioned are anything but boring
looking at your DA gallery I cringed at how bad most of your "photographs" are.
>>144083OP is so popular thoughthat's dA for you:kingdom hearts, bleach, naruto, furry art, more weeaboo shit, hdr, cats, tits, ass, 15yr old self portrait chicks, .. etc etc.
Looks like someone threw up cancer all over perfectly good shots.
TIME FOR A NEW BOARD: /hdr/
ya i took the time to go through 90% of the pics on the DA site, There are a few that have good (if not cliche) wide angle composition, But the HDR is too much and too distracting. You can do dark and dreary without all this fake Microcontrast.
Thanks OP for these pictures. I have to do a presentation on HDR in a few weeks and I am always looking for examples of the current HDR algorithms failing miserably. Halos, powerline artifacts and general downright artifical look, all present.
suck my car
he is so dark and mysterious... he reflects this in his "art" and taste in music and movies. LAWL!!!
ZARRRRRDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
what software does /p/ use for HDR?
photomatix/photoshop. Now gtfo.
i'm pretty sure OP left
>>144626If only you would give up so easily
