hey /p/, i'm planning on finally upgrading my D50. i'm stuck between the d80 and teh d200 since i can get them both at roughly the same price (120$ difference). what does you think?

$300, 16-85mm is $750 i think. Personal preference and stinginess were taken into consideration.

get the d200 if you get a nice deal and at least 2years warranty. if you live in toronto (which is unlikely), henrys sells mint d80s (no physical signs of wear, prolly from some spoiled brats) for $999 + a year and a half warranty.

D200 is miles better than D80. D200 isn't too small like D80, D200 has got more important controls in camera body, support for older manual focus lenses and all that.

D200's only downside is the same sucky small and inaccurate viewfinder as with D80's. Of course small and inaccurate is the standard in dslr's, but still...
