sage goes in every field. not because you're wrong, but because you're stating the obvious.

actually the lumix brand is fairly decent.

Sure, canon and nikon are the leading brands, but lumix is doing a decent job at keeping up.

Hey, I took some pretty decent pics with my Panasonic before I upgraded to d80. Depends on how you handle it.

This thread is now about women's chests in tight shirts without their heads in the shot.

I like where this thread is going, and will now have to go out and take photos in the future expressly for this purpose.

Those Lumix are great Cameras, They're not bulky. Picture quality is great. What did you expect? A 200Dollars New SLR?
>> Anonymous
>>89146
Exactly. Default settings on the Lumixes are fail, but the cameras themselves are win. That's why one buys one with manual mode that shoots raw and then gets what is almost certainly the best results possible with a dinky sensor.

love my lumix. with a gig card & a 2 year unconditional warranty i got it for $300 a year ago. my friend has a d50 and hers are better than mine, but i've seen almost no point and shoots that are as good as mine.

>>89258
look in the eye.
see all those fucked up colors the firmware injected into that black area? thats one of many reasons why lumix sucks. my nikon P&S makes jpegs with more compression (about 200kb per megapixel vs. about 350 for lumix ) and doesn't do that shit.
panasonic is not an imaging corporation. their video cameras can get away with that shit because the frame goes away in 1/30th of a second, but its no good in still cameras.

>>89285
Which is why you shoot raw if you own a Lumix and be very happy.
>> Anonymous
>>89304
i agree, i was sleepy and it was morning and i just pressed my program auto mode and didn't do anything to actually try to take the photograph.
raw is the way to go with the camera, which is a sad reality. i have a 20d [i know lol old] for when i actually take pictures. my lumix is my fun camera for when i don't feel like lugging shit around with me. i know no matter what panasonic fans will say we will always get flamed, but lumix cameras are nice cameras... and most definitely the waste of money some people claim.
>> Anonymous
i hate my lumix. people don't look real in half the photos (particularly when its dark, even with flash). should've returned it and bought a canon :T

i did that
