sup /p/,

I just started using SLR cameras today at my course. Would like to know what you think of my photos and how I could improve on them.

This one has been shooped, obviously.

I dont think you have any SLRs. Enjoy your friend.

There are a lot of blown and underexposed areas in each photo. Try taking your metering off something other than your subject, like the sky or plants.

Heh. Kinda like. Would be better with better lighting, though. Maybe blast him with flash so you can use a shutter speed fast enough to keep him unblurred.

Photo is empty. Needs a subject.

cool, thanks. i'm still learning the ins and outs of the camera but I'll keep that in mind.

yeah, I meant to use a higher shutter speed for that shot. Here's one where I did...

also, how do I retain the EXIF data with resized images? i'd like to post the originals with EXIF but they'd be around 5mb...

this would be a neat photo if it didnt have the distracting bit to the right of the wall that's all blown out

Don't use Save For Web. Just resize and save normally.

this one turned out pretty grainy. would a higher ISO fix that?

If by higher, you mean lower, then yes.
