Hey /p/So I made this panorama some time ago, and I was hoping to print and frame it as a Christmas gift. The image here is resized because of limitations. The full image can be seen here:http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/9059/panoqe2.jpgMy poor photography skills aside, there are a couple of problems, mainly the 7:1 aspect ratio. Should I crop out the blown right hand side of the image? I'm worried that might take away from the photo as a panorama, but I suspect those blown bits aren't going to print well either. This would, however, fix my aspect ratio problem to some degree. Do you think I could span it across a couple frames? Or should I do both: crop the image off at the end of the rocky bits, then frame it in multiple frames?Any other thoughts? Is this even feasible? If I print it at 150dpi, it'll be 7" x 34", with the crop. Which means it would span across three frames at 7" x 11", roughly.EXIF data available. Does the small pic look like asparagus to anyone except me?
>>300866First thing I though, 'a pano of asparagus, interesting'. Lulz

yummy, a macro pano of asparagus
I thought it was a chewed up pencil
7x34 is a pretty weird size...I got a pano printed at 6x30 without any trouble once, so try adjusting it to fit that aspect ratio maybe?
thought it was pano of a paint brush.turned out to be pure shit.i would just give your friend the money you would have spent on framing, printing, matting etc. instead.
>>299500I wouldn't go through that much trouble to have this image framed and printed. Compositionally, it just doesn't work. The rocks on the left make everything else seem bland. Also, there doesn't seem to be enough sky.
this is definately not worth printing. water is totally broken in a few places and exposure of shadow areas is shit. next time shoot HDR / <just bracket fucker> and do something about the water. (most people do longer exposures to make the ripples become a solid soft mass, but this usually looks generic and gay). more sky would be nice too but it seems like you were cropping out some shit on the right.
Where exactly was that taken?
