I've got an 8600F, which I'm guessing is the model this one replaced. I'm quite fond of it. And it scans medium-format, too, which is the main reason I bought it.

Can anyone post a hi-res of an average scan? Maybe even a couple. $200 isn't THAT much, but I'd still like to know what I'll be getting if I decide to buy it and not a 360. lol

No. I do random work for one of my professors (also TA for him). Scanning and annotating his old slides is one of the things I do.
