Flowers, Grass Grow from Earth
Sunday, June 10, 2007 A series of small, garden variety organisms of apparent origin in the biological kindom of Plantae have erupted from the earth at an unspecified location. These organisms, commonly known as 'plants', include both flowering and nonflowering varieties.
The plants pose no apparent threat, according to locals. "Jefe say to put flower here, so I put flower here," said Eduardo Ortiz, the individual responsible for the eruption of the plants in question. "No esta la migra," he added, addressing his associates.
The flowering plants are apparently used as an aesthetic enhancement to many homes and businesses in the area. Many flowers, like the one pictured here, reflect a series of wavelengths of sunlight, that, when viewed by the human eye, are collectively found to be pleasing.
Multiple additional instances of flower eruption are suspected to have been occurring in the area as well.
