took this pic today outside my house,
an HDR IR photo, with the Cyanotype filter in Lightroom.
since photomatix looses the EXIF, its just taken on my D70 with stock lens with a Hoya R72 filter. with +1 0 -1 EV shots.
EXIF data available. Clickhereto show/hide.

awesome, that tree looks like a giant lumbering beast.

wonderful shot

Nice, but I really hate fake lens vignetting. To me it's just shy of putting fake lens flares everywhere.
>> Anonymous
see, this is good hdr.

(...unlike those abominations from a few days ago)

the lens at 18mm is known to vignette anyway, and the added vignetting was just part of the filter plug-in, i didn't intentionally add the extra vignetting in on purpose.

ah, but you can remove that feature of the filter

either manually by editing the file itself (LR filters are plaintext) or by removing the vignetting values and re-saving the preset.

kinda boring
>> Memloch
what program do you use for your HDR?

Interesting how most of the IR effect in the tree get lost due to HDR.
It's nice, but I suggest you set your white balance correctly next time, so it won't just be all blue.

some tree's react to IR differently to others.
that tree looked even more dull in non-HDR.
and if you read my OP, you can see i used a filter to make it blue colour.
(IR photos straight from the camera is all red colour, WB doesn't really make a difference)

What kind of filter? Photoshop or a filter on the Hoya R72?

i live in New Zealand, so i guess i'm far closer to heaven than you.
but seriously, its red because of the Hoya R72 IR filter.
