I'm done with the A350.

I gave my A350 to my father today for Father's day. My partner was a little peeved, but so what. She has to use the A200 now... I'll buy an A300 when the opportunity arises.

Anyhow...I could care less about reviews and pictures and yadayadaydada... There is a big difference between set up review shots and real world shots.

It's just like reading a review for a car! How can you read a review about a car? You have to go test drive that thing before you buy it...

I'm not trying to put down the A350 (I love Sony!), but let's be realistic people...

ISO400... 100% crop... I made the exact same face as the guy below when I saw the EXIF data...

If your not shooting RAW... don't bother... but if you are shooting RAW... get ready to deal with 15+ MB file sizes... You can't win with it during low-light event shooting... $800+ should have gotten me better... Anyone disagree with that?

I like to underexpose by 1/3 to 1 stop and re-adjust in pp, but you can't really save that picture... Even if I did adjustments (brightness/noise reduction) noise would be apparent or it would get that watered down smudgey look... I don't think noise should be THAT NOTICEABLE at ISO 400... call me crazy...

Other than ISO performance I truly believe it is a great camera... I wouldn't recommend this camera in all honesty. I would highly recommend the A300...

It's underexposed. And he's black. What do you expect, seriously? Your camera is fine.

Was this brought up in post at all? I'd say the noise really is higher than it should be for ISO400.

shadows will always, ALWAYS have noise in them.

what the fuck?

that's at 100% and you're bitching about it?

post the resized version with the longest side at @1000pixels then look for noise.
