Heres an example The blue lines represent a wider angle lens, See where they crossover, one location has a completely different angle on a building. If you try to stitch these, you will get foreground that doesn't match up but background that crosses over more and more the farther away it gets. (hence the cloud problem)
The yellow lines are a longer focal length, you have to take a lot more pictures, but the crossover is less and less the narrower the field of view.
Basically, your fucked no matter what, but if you are shooting a flat plane with no foreground or background it could be done and still look realistic
