Get a packfilm camera. Better lenses, film that isn't out of production, dirt cheap, and they almost all have focusing lenses, unlike their 600-eating cousins.

Another plus of a camera that takes pack film is that, even though Polaroid is going under, Fuji still makes a handful of instant pack films that are totally badass that, it appears, will continue to be made for a while.
