Canon Pwershot A570 Anonymous
I wanted a camera that's portable and has manual settings (such as for shutter speed and aperture settings, and has a lower chance of producing blurry shots. This seemed like a good choice, considering the price (I found it for a clean $180). I haven't bought it yet, but unless anon says otherwise, I'm doing it.

tl:dr, Is this win? [Y/N]

At how much light? Most cameras won't have this problem when shooting outside on a sunny day.. if you're thinking about eventing and indoor you should go for DSLR.
