don't get those "stick-on" fisheye fake lenses, they're absolutely awful in quality...

I once shot with one of those (and that cost a lot more than the one you linked)

If you want a wider angle, step back two steps. Cost: $0

wtf.

so i have to pay $600 to get a legit fish eye? man....
can anyone recommend a halfway decent stick-on b.s. lens?
>> Anonymous
not quite, you could always go for a used manual fisheye (there are popular russian ones out there)

that won't do the quality of a $600 fisheye but it will do a lot better then the cheap stick-on lenses

>> Anonymous
>>268885
you can crop it to get rid of the black edges... and it will deem the fisheye effect POINTLESS!

For a larger format.

Try finding a fisheye for some 16mm film or something like that and an adapter, OP. I can't think of any cheap fisheye lens that has equal to or less coverage than your sensor.

Also,
>equal to or less coverage
How the fuck often is it we look for that?

why for a larger format ?

If a fisheye is put on a smaller format than the one it was designed for, it ceases being a fisheye and just becomes a really, really bad wide angle. The corners are cropped out.

OP needs one with an equal or smaller (he could just crop the black space out) coverage to work.
