>>107160 Ever hear the phrase "As exciting as watching moss grow"? This is like that, it's a still frame so we miss out on the excitement of seeing it grow.
>>107161 Great spider, poor exposure. Either badly focused or camera shaken, not sure.
>>107162 Best of the bunch, but I might just be saying that because I'm a pervert.
>>107163 Sky's overexposed, and it's badly composed (this is one of those situations where you want to rule-of-thirds it, probably). Worse than that, though is that fencepost in the lower left corner. Every time I look at it, my eye is naturally drawn to it. Like it's been caught with a fishhook.

General: Resize your pics before posting, please. We don't need all 4 megapixels. In 2008, work on: 1. Fill the frame. Be as aware of the background as you are of the subject of your shot before you click the shutter, and make sure there's not something like a fencepost sticking up in the corner. 2. Work on your composition. Read some books on the subject, look at a lot of pictures, post things here to get raeped with more criticism. 3. Take a shit-ton of pictures. I've challenged myself to take at least one picture each day for an entire year (starting back on my last birthday) and I think it's helped my photography a lot. If nothing else, I've gotten a lot better at postprocessing to make otherwise dull pictures pop a bit more so they're good enough to post without being flat out embarrassed by them.
