Okay, some people approached me this morning wanting to exhibit my photos in their gallery.
Not sure quite what to say, is there anything I can lose from doing this?
Also one of the things that would bother me is printing the photos.
I have a MBP and the printouts I get differ quite drastically from how they appear on my screen, and attempts to calibrate to a printer have all but failed.
If I were to take them up, I'd want to know my photos are being seen as I wanted them to..
Any ideas how to get round this, or would it just have to be trial and error.
Anyone else ever exhibited before?

Used photobox a bit. Their prints are great quality, but the calibration sucks.
Had them done in some photo labs. Standard Noritsu equipment and a couple blown up on an Epson something.

My prints come out differently as well, they are too dark (does anyone know why?). You should go and get them printed by a pro printer.

I think Photobox is pretty infamous for printing dark.
When I send mine away I usually boost the midtones a bit, but the colour's still screwed.

Color calibrate your monitor, or stop working at 100% brightness, or go to a professional photo store with some pictures on a flashdrive and have them printed off, or bring the pictures to someone else's NON-MB/P and see if they're too dark.
