hey /p/ just have a question. whats the best camera bag out there?
i need something more like a backpack or messenger bag style. im on the go 24/7 and so i want something more portable. ive been looking at the lowepro slingshot, but i was wondering before i commit to that, what my fello /p/phers had to say. thanks!

That's the bag I use. It works perfect for me because I only have one camera and only a couple lenses. The build quality is superb. Only downside is one of my lenses won't fit because of the size. Really depends on your gear and your own preferences.

I definitely recommend Tamrac bags. I have been beating the ever-loving shit out of my Tamrac Pro 8 for eight full years now and it refuses to show wear.

I use the slingshot AW200. Its a nice weather resistant bag with a cover (I used it in Ireland for a while, rain didn't get through at all). However it is a bit on the small side for me. I plan on upgrading soon to more of a "backpack." with 4 lenses, a flash, and accessories, its a tight fit. other than the size issue, I love it for its ease of use and "I'm not a camera bag" look to it

im using a lowepro toploader zoom 2

its designed for a body and reasonably sized zoom(70-200?)
for me it holds a body with one of my lenses attached and one sitting below it. either 2 of the 3 lenses would be sigma 17-35 canon 50 and sigma 30 to give you an idea of the size it can hold.

I have a Lowepro Rezo 140AW, which came in a bundle with my camera. The build quality is awesome, but I haven't been very hard on it, so I don't know how well it will put up with abuse. I recommend it if you only have 2-3 small lenses. I have a little bit of trouble squeezing my EF 28-135mm IS and my EF-S 10-22mm in with my body and EF 50mm, but I can somehow manage with that.

I just bought a lowepro rover plus AW, it should get here next week :)

This is my set-up, it's just a simple messenger bag, but its got a Tamrac thing in it. I don't actually know what the name of the bag is(got it with my SR-T201 when my dad gave it to me) and its only big enough to hold a body with probably two lenses. But, it will definitely hold a 200mm lens in the body holder. Then I use the bag for other stuff, Lenses will fit in the front and side pockets, but you would need to be careful with them, since there isn't as much protection there.
