So the store I work at (Best Buy) sells a lot of digital cameras. There's also a display case with a bunch of lens and I was just checking the stock we have in the back and there's 3 of them.So I want to buy them myself and sell them off to people but I don't know the going price for things like this. I work in the PC dept. The lens is Canon EF 28-70mm lens and I can buy it for $1099. How much do you think I can sell it for?EXIF data available. Second hand they go for $1000.
Hmm, can I sell these for $1,200 or more? They are brand new. Never been opened.
>>158385I can get new in box for under $1200
This is an older lens and has since been replaced by the 24-70L.You'd be very lucky if you got more than $900, even when it's brand new in the box.
Oh well, I thought there would be good demand for these.I'll go back to reselling Wii and iPod Touch now.
>>158467Less.
>>158467Try talking to the higher-ups and see if they'll let you have it for a bargain. I can't imagine it's good business to have stock laying around or six years.
>>158473Good idea. Those things are quite out of date, but if you can get it very cheaply it could be worth your while.
Not worth my trouble. There's no market for these things anyway. Wii and iPod FTW
>>158480People still buy them. Sell them on KEH.com if you can get them cheap.
Steal it, sell it for $500you win, the person who bought it winsand best buy looses, but they deserve to loose. i fucking, FUCKING hate them.
>>158480There's a huge market for lenses, used and new, old and new. If you can get it for $700 or less you should be able to get at least $850 on ebay especially if it's unopened.
