Guys, what do you think of my camera. I just got into photography, so I only have an HP M425. Anyways, what do you think of my skills, and what should I improve on. Thanks in advance.

Your camera seems fine. It took a photograph.

Your skills are terrible though. You took a boring picture. There is nothing compelling about it. You would think everyone will go "oooh, ahhh, a Lamborghini," but we've all seen Lamborghini's before so that makes it boring. It's also a Lamborghini on a show floor which means the setting is also very boring. You took the photo from your eye-height so the perspective is boring. You used on-camera flash when there was plenty of available lighting in the building - that's ugly and unnecessary. You placed the car in the center of the frame which is boring compositionally. You included this stupid rope and pedestal in the bottom left corner which is uninteresting and distracting. This is pretty much what you would expect out of someone who just bought a digital point-and-shoot and wanted to take a picture of a car they think is cool.

Best advice you're gonna get on that one. :]

next time get a snap of your friend trying to jump on the hood, and security chasing him... then this guy will shut up about being boring.
