Hi there /p/, its not often I come to you for advice, so I hope you'll spare the time to help a fellow pro out.

Today I purchased a TONY K1-D Single Lens Reflex camera. As shown in the attached photo, it currently has a kit 50mm f/1.4 TONY Prime.

Although this lens is excellent, and definitely gives Canon/Nikon and run for their money - I'm more interested in shooting Sporting events, such as Egg & Spoon races for a Local Newspaper.

What are my options for a TELEPHOTO Lens, that come with the TONY L mount?

STUPID. It's a TOMY camera, try that in your google search. There is tons of very nice old glass for that thing.
>> heavyweather !4AIf7oXcbA
Leica makes a Tri-Elmar 21/24/28 in TOMY L mount that's worth taking a look at, if you don't mind the f/4 maximum aperture.

so you also cant read. just stop posting, martin.

Quick search on TOMYs website produced a wide range of glass to suit your spec.

I highly recommend this lens. Sharp as a tack even wide open at all focal lengths.

Shut up brandfag. TONY, TOMY what's the difference? It's like Nee-kon, Ny-kon.
>> Anonymous !SDPEsPMnww
>>187059
Except that Nee-cone is the actual, correct pronunciation...
>> Anonymous
>>187059
one is about how you spell it, when its RIGHT IN THE PICTURE. the other is how pronunciation changes when a name goes to different countries.

If I heard someone say "NEE-CONE" instead of "NY-CON" I would punch them in the dick.

Then stay away from Japan.

>> sage !i/euDJmWr2

I'm American and I say knee-con. Suck it.
>> Anonymous
Be a little more weaboo, ignorant fuckers. It's a japanese company and its name is pronounced Nee-con. Not ny-con or nee-cone, although the latter is closer to the right pronounciation. ITS NEE-CON, LEARN YOUR GOD'S NAME, NEECONFAGS
>> Anonymous
>>187090

then you're wrong
>> Anonymous
>>187092

it's nee-kon everywhere else in the world

in north america, it's nigh-kon

the US is not a hemisphere, everyone south and north of your borders call it Nee Kon.

in japanese its actually knee-cone but the second n is more in the back of the throat, not like how americans say it. the o is a long o sound.
>> Anonymous
>>187133
As we've been saying, knee-kon, not kone

Hey mother fuckers, why the hell would they pronounce it "nigh-con" in the commercials if that wasn't the correct pronunciation?

There are only two rational explanations

1. It's fucking nigh-con
2. The correct pronunciation is different in separate parts of the world.

>>187131

those same ads run in canada and the dubbed versions in spanish say nighkon you goddamn retard

but con/kon doesnt tell people that its a long o sound unless you specifically tell them so. that would be pronounced with a short o sound.

>> Anonymous
>>187406
They don't care so long as we buy Nikon (nee-con) products. Probably people mispronounced it and they figured brand recognition under a mispronunciation was better than trying to educate everyone in switching from "nye-con" to "nee-con."

I say Nigh-kon but I also say Nee-kkor.
