Hey /p/.
So I'm on vacation and I took a bunch of pics today. Can someone show me how I can improve these pics through photoshop? I'm looking for a rich saturation look w/ a bit of vignette.

not bad pics, not great pics either. They could use some photoshop work. Not everyone on this forums are assholes... someone will help you out.

Those just look like vacation pics, nothing artistic here. Why don't you try to put a concept or some more structured environment/feeling in your pictures? Showing your abs won't make it look good magically.

he's not asking for critique you faggots.

Read a tutorial on using levels and curves (or just play around with them). That'll give you that saturation++ look you're probably going for.

I don't know how to do vignetting. I'd feel weird adding something like vignetting to a picture other than practically.

INFACT RETARD THEY ARE VACATION PICS

not op by the way, dont want to make him look like an asshole.

BUT levels/curves may help with saturation, color balance SHould help.

as for vignetting that depends on what version of PS you have. if you have 7 or maybe cs ( never used it ) its a bit of work. if you have CS2/3 its filter>distort>lens correction then just fiddle with the vignette settings i would suggest turning off the grid at the bottom right i think is where that choice is but thats just preference.

Play around with the camera settings a bit more, don't shoot in auto. You'll have more control to get what you want and then less post processing will be needed

OP here. Thanks for those who gave me advice on actual things I was interested in. It was 96* and I was fucking tired when I took these photos. Also, the pics of me involved handing my parents the camera on fully auto and saying "zoom and take the picture".

So fuck off to those with nothing but criticism.

Took this pic of my parents today... always looking to learn from mistakes... is this a decent picture?

Hey. Did you mean to shoot these pictures at 1600 ISO? That looks like bright screaming sunshine to me. I would have dropped it down to 100 ISO. It would have eliminated a lot of the digital noise in your photo and made this much easier to edit. To increase saturation in photoshop go to Image-adjustment-saturation. I also used the unsharp mask at 100 percent. Its listed under filters-sharpen-unsharp mask.
