Did some light painting. Is shorter shutter speed better than longer shutter speed? IE 4 seconds to 30 seconds? Or using a slow syncro flash on certain subjects? Just kind of curious.

using a mag light and a crappy LED flash light. Also recommendations of different lights would be amazing.

Honestly any exposure will do when doing light silohuets or light painting. It's just up do you, and it does depend some on the lighting conditions. I would just set the shutter speed to give you enough time to do what you need to do without having to rush and then set the overall exposure with the appeture/ISO.

As far as lights go you can do some cool stuff like silohuets with a manual flash. Really any light will do. Just play around and see what happens.

do try and keep your ISO as low as possible so it keeps the noise down.

We used a normal flash on accident with this one but it kind of turned out pretty cool I guess.
