Camera Recommendation? Anonymous
Sup /p/,

I need some camera purchasing advice. While I'd love to get into the high quality DSLR category, I just don't see myself using a camera of that size just because I wouldn't want to lug it around everywhere. I want something to fit in my pocket that's not a crappy $100 Kodak/Polaroid.

At what price point do pocket size digital cameras start having decent quality? Are there any that you'd recommend that have a killer bang/buck ratio?

You can't get better bang for the buck then a Canon Powershot A630.

Do you have mail or something?

The Powershots aren't very pocketable.
I guess if you don't mind having GIANT ROBOT BONER sticking out if your pants they are ok?

A590 is more compact and takes less batteries. Image quality is roughly the same, I think.

Protip: If you want to accentuate your gluteal shapes, do not wear a digicam in your ass pocket

Leica D-LUX 3!
Extremely expensive but small and good quality.

Or you could get this
http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-DMC-LX2K-Digital-Optical-Stabilized/dp/B000GHULTM/ref=pd_bbs_5?ie=UT
F8&s=electronics&qid=1210285590&sr=8-5
Which is $200 cheaper and basically the same thing.

>the exact same thing except minus the tacky red dot, plus a grip, and with bad JPEG processing that doesn't matter because you should shoot raw.

Fix'd.
