A530 on left.

a530 on the right
>> Anonymous
A530 on the left, Its much sharper and DOF is greater.

BUT then again if this is supposed to be some sort of comparison of image quality the lens used would definitely come into account.
But like we all know on here, its the photographer that makes the difference more so than the camera.

the optics on the left are better. the lighting on the right is stunning however.
>> Anonymous
The left = The better camera

More detail on the chip, as you can see anti-aliasing

Better color, and richer blacks.

Camera on the right is consumer garbage.

The one on the right is amazing FOR ME TO SHIT ON
>> pskaught
better camera on left.

slightly off topic, but what do you use to stitch like 8+ pictures together?

autostitch seems to only do like 3 or 4
>> Anonymous
What PP and settings were used?
>> Anonymous
I don't know how to read a sun dial anymore, but it looks like a pretty large time delay between shoots assuming same position.

ive used autostitch for more than 4 :S

it just takes a while if your doing full res shots...

And I don't really understand how this could end up in talking about autostitch...

Only a few minutes probably, and I seem to be standing about a meter more to the left on the left picture...

One is out of focus, one is not.
Now you guess which is which?

The powershot one has been heavily processed in camera. This was a crappy test. There have already been better done.
