the 40D is generally regarded as being placed between the D80 and D300, canon and nikon tend to leapfrog each other

It's a temporary art installation in Toulouse, France. Interesting subject with lot of potential, but sadly, all my photo of if are crappy beyond measure. It also suck that I was there mid-day.

By the way how could I have dealt with the overexposure?

<----------Aka, given the condition (harsh almost overhead sunlight, white sand in the foreground) was there a way I could have made this photo good?
