Hey /p/Share with me your HDR tricks and knowledge.Basically the way I shoot (when without a tripod) .. Is I set the shutter speed to 1/60 sec .. then adjust to 1/2000 ish.The problem with that technique is that the 2 photos aren't framed exactly the same so the result is not as nice as I'd like it to be.Does it work better if you take 3 shots in a row with -2 and +2 exposure compensation? Also, do you use 2 shots or more for a better effect? The other issue I sometimes get when objects like trees or people don't exactly match is that photomatix pro replaces those areas with stark black spots which doesn't look great either. Is there any other program which processes this better? Thanks in advance.(photo related, shot taken yesterday in Sydney)EXIF data available. I just do 3 shots in auto bracket -2,0,+2 and then combine.
>>105258I may sound like a total noob here.. but from what I can remember with AEB shots.. you need to press the shutter 3 times in a row pretty quickly. On a 400D would it also work to hold the button down with AEB and cont shooting on?
>>105258no autobracket on nikon d40 T_Tdo i win/fail for not being able to HDR?
>>105262OP hereI say fail .. because I've been taking HDR shots (but with difficulty) without AEB :]Give it a try.. Make sure you come home with at least 20 to 30 HDR ready photos.. (which would mean double or tripple that amount)
