its a pretty cool effect with a fisheye, would have been better if you could magically spin the outer part of the lens but keep the center where the bench is stationary

With a flash you can sort of do that. I have a feeling its used mostly with fisheye's for things like sports.

you know... i would always hate fisheye posts i see here. I hate the roundness feeling like your looking through a peephole, and the black borders around the lens curve.

but this shot gives me a hint of how they can be used effectively, with a subject in the center and cropped without the major edge distortion usually found in the pictures here..
