e-500 any good?

>>67480
Yes, but not stellar. E-410/510 are superior.

You can try and look as cool as you like with all that fancy equipment but with those shades it will never happen. Next time you get the notion to buy another lens, go to Sunglass Hut instead and buy some Oakleys or some such shit.

I used to have that many lenses, Now I ditched most of the ones I didn't use and kept the good ones.
Now i have
18-55mm (need to sell)
50mm f1.8 (need to sell)
18-200mm sigma
10-20mm sig
24mm f1.8
50mm f1.4
28-75 f2.8 tamron
90 f2.8 macro sigma
80-200 f2.8 af-s

why sell the 50mm/f1.8 and keep the 50mm/1.4? How often are you going to use it at 1.4? The 1.4 exhibits barrel distortion that the 1.8 doesn't have.

I absolutely love the 50mm f/1.4 and as a benefit I can use it in places where I'm worried about the lens getting damaged because it's so inexpensive (as lenses go).

That 10-20 sigma just rox my socks. I found it used and was very happy for the money.

Because when I use the 50mm f1.8 I really need a 50mm f1.4 or brighter, it rarely comes out during daylight, and even then its usually just for infrared or portraits!

So yes the 50mm f1.8 is not needed, while the f1.4 is.

I really want to get the Sigma 10-20 or the Canon 10-22 but I just can't justify spending so much money on a lens I will probably rarely use because of the specialty of it.

I thought that way at one time, then I got enough money to buy one and was like, What the hell, Might aswell!

Picture related.

I just keep finding excuses to spend more money on camera gear, Its not necesarilly that I need the equipment, I just want it or thought of something new and cool that I could do with it. Thinking of converting my D70s into a full time IR camera, But don't want to send it in to lifepixel (would cost me over 400$), would rather trade someone and give them the extra cash... OR sell the D70s and buy another D50 outright.

They're not that specialized. They make great landscape or interior shooters. With a flash they're awesome for social shooting in dim light, if your friends don't mind.

I have the equivalent lens for my film body - a 17-35mm and I rarely use it so that's an indication for me that I wouldn't use the 10-2x very much.
