Any idea where I can buy the lower half of a camera strap? I'm making my own straps, and there has to be a better way than buying a new strap and taking it apart.

You can buy blank camera straps from most camera stores.
Adorama and B&H will probably have them. Amazon too.

Also on most straps the company logo is embroidered, so you can just take a pair of nail clippers and cut the thread and then pull the logo out easy as pie.
