thanks for the obvious troll reply. honestly, from a photographer's or editor's point of view, what could be improved? and not "lol sell ur camrah rofl xD".

The green trees in this one make it less good than it could be.

>>187503

did you mess up the save or what

it's blurry as fuck now

first one is better anyway
>> Anonymous
>>187505
no I sharpened the edit up
>>187504
yeah, I know exactly what you mean, but there's nothing I can do about that. if there was a tree all alone like that around here, I would have taken 1,000 cliché photos of it already, like everyone else.

>>187507
The solution is obviously to cut down all the other trees one night, then photograph the white tree. But be sure to burn it before anyone else gets a chance to.

>>187516
And take lots of pictures while you are doing this.

Trees are often hard to photograph since they are so common and boring if the main subject. They can add to a picture, but you have to have the right light and right surroundings. For my picture, the sky was very dull and the colors were not as bright as I saw them in real life. Also, it was surrounded by ugly buildings.

original by far. just... look at it. take a whole picture each time, don't try and crop a good shot out a shot you didn't like 0 that's trying to make shit into chocolate cake and is only useful for collage artists.

a photo is a photo- the more you mess with it, the more you lose it's soul.

also, i bet you saw really pretty colors and you wonder wh the photo looks liike someone washed it tide 400 times when irl the sky was brilliant azure and the treen was glowing green and white?

you need more light. open the aperture or take a longer exposure. hold very still. use the settings on your camera to make it see what you see.

take the same photo on five different ways and see what it does.

color correction can help after the fact, but only so much, see attached (quick and dirty, stfu lurkers)

uh... what the fuck did you do to my image dude? more than half of the sky is blown out and everything looks like shit! it was really dark and cloudy out -- I took these while there was thunder and lightning right before it started to rain.
>a photo is a photo- the more you mess with it, the more you lose it's soul.
you've got that right, holy shit, you made my picture look so bad...
>use the settings on your camera to make it see what you see.
it was exactly how I saw it... do you know what you're doing???

i blasted the contrast and gamma to bring up the color in about 4 seconds is what i did. here i'll do it again in "stormy weather mode". you can do a lot better if you take more than 4 seconds to play with all the color and contrast information.

you didn't post any exif so i assumed you took a shitty pic on a sunny day with the clouds moving in behind the trees.

if that is exactly what you saw and you're happy with the exposure, than i would say that it's a dull and boring photo- the interest in the photo comes from the contrast in color and the intrusion of the tree into the sky, and the duller and flatter the colors, the less that contrast stands out.

it's important to do a good job in manip, too - i did not, but i wasn't trying very hard, its just to show the options.

jesus fuck, i hope youre trolling or just need to calibrate your monitor.

i'm clicking and dragging with my mouse for 4 seconds to make a point. how much fucking work do you want me to put into saying that original photo looks like someone left it out in the rain? it's late, i'm drunk, and i only care enough to do a little, tiny bit.

you don't like it, you spend the neccesary several minutes to fix this photo and post it or crystal ball his setup to figure what kind of cameraphone he's using.
