You can try this as well.

I might help you find something nice later on, when I have some more time.

i got myself the Lowepro Fastpack 250

it fits up to 6 lenses (one being on the camera)
your camera body
has pouches for memory cards/ batteries
space for a jumper/ lunch/ cables etc
a laptop / magazine pocket that fits up to 15" laptop (iirc)
drink holder/ phone pocket on the strap.. its VERY padded... and has a waist strap and clip too.....

i love this bag i can just put it on and go.. and it suits me because i live at 2 different houses (one at home the other my bfs)

and i do alot of bush walking and climbing.. and also alot of bike riding...

and the camera pocket lets you unzip just the side and get the camera out when you still have the bag on...

watch this video..

tl:dr try the lowepro fastpack or something similar for hiking etc...

Did you also take a look at the Fastpack 200? How is it in size comparison to the 250?
I'm searching for a rather light and small daily backpack, to carry my 40D+70-200 f4 IS, plus a flash and another lens... And I rather like the fastpack and sligshot's side-entry compartment...
It's just that the 250 is a bit too big and bulky for me.

the 200 is identical to the 250 apart from the laptop compartment.
