HOW DO I MAKE LIGHTPAINTING PHOTOS??????!

set shutter speed to 30sec.
set timer to 10sec.
start timer
stand wherever
when the shutter opens turn on your torch/flashlight
draw and design for 30sec.
etc. etc.


you can use anything besides 30sec, its just a nice number

there's a technical difference between light painting and light drawing. light drawing you get in front of the camera and draw with fire or a smaller glowing source. light painting you take a spotlight and shine it on buildings and stuff where you want the image to show. here's a bad example of light drawing.
