which lens are you using, OP?
because if you're talking about one of the cheapest lenses ever (50mm 1.8) then you shouldn't complain about a little unnoticeable CA

There's no need to be down at f22, you lost alot of sharpness, bring it back to f8-f11.

the 50mm is the 1.4 one, I've never had a CA problem with it. The other one is the EF-S10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM, I get CA around the edges. Original, unshooped:

It was during the day. I had to be at f/22 with a few ND filters to be able to take an exposure of that duration. Some of the lost sharpness at the trees is due to wind... other from the flimsy tripod.

Also, f/22 would be a deeper dof compared to ~f/8

but did it HAVE to be a min and 45 seconds?

CA at 10mm is normal, don't worry about it.

Yuss. Makes the passing cars disappear while giving me trails from the headlights of those who had theirs on. I also like the blur of moving objects. I also like high contrast, dark, brooding images (in case you couldn't tell).

I also need to retake this one with more sky.

I am almost reassured, but, to your knowledge, are there any wide angle lenses that do not exhibit CA?

the sigma 10-20 is worse, and those are the only lenses that go to 10mm, i'm not sure about tamron, but reviews say that the canon is supossed to be better than it anyway. use CA correction in lightroom.
