Any advice? One of the best pictures I've taken so far, only been at it seriously for about 2 months, so any critiques would be excellent. Also is the picture too boring since it's just a close up on a flower and that's been done about a million times, or is that just me.

And does anyone have any advice for shooting snow? It just started snowing where I live and I've never have had a chance to take pictures of it.

a bit underexposed, busy background, bland lighting, blah subject

how would I fix the lighting? It was a little cloudy when I took it so should I just wait for better lighting or mess around with external lights?

Cloud cover/grey skies are usually good if you want even outdoor lighting, but obviously everything will be grey and blah.

Word. Cloud cover is the biggest outdoor softbox on earth.
