none of these shots have been worth any money, atleast not to me.

they are all kind of boring, the 2nd ones ok, but id say you should use either a tripod, a stabilizer of some sort or an image stabilizer be it lens or in body for shots longer than 1/30th of a second

as for the freelance stuff. i dont know your schedule or how much time you have on your hands but if you have an extra couple of hours a day and you can get your name out then it would definately be worth it.
getting payed to do something you hopefully like to do, well just try to find something wrong with that!

yeah i got some time..

also these photos weren't anything special, just shooting around my house/backyard.

So how about you post something "special" then, instead of useless crap which gives no indication of your skill.

To be honest, freelance photography is a double edged sword. On the one hand you've got the freedom and options to do whatever you choose but on the other hand, work can be few and far between.

You're better off looking for fulltime work and working on your photography on the side. Start taking your camera everywhere you go, instead of just your backyard.

Seconded.
The second picture is the only half-decent one.
In the dog picture you cut its paws off and the shadow to the left is pisspoor.
The other three are really bad.
