the asa and iso setting on film cameras just changes the way it meters. so your still shooting with 400 speed film but your metering for say 100speed film.

seems like an ineffective windshield wiper arrangement.

i think if you change it from 400 to 200 you only change the meter 1/3 stop over

wat? Please, don't say things you don't know for certain, that's bullshit. 200 to 400 is one stop.

I always shoot my colour print films 1 stop over exposed.
Colour print has a fantastic dynamic range with a vast degree of latitude. Over exposing colour prints really brings out the best in them, making the colours have more punch and detail.

Are we talking about push/pull processing here?

Do you underdevelop too? Like 30% cut down development time?
>> Lynx !!KY+lVSl0s2m
how does on propose going about altering c-41 process times?

no pushing or pulling involved, just simply overexposing.

>>241311
Just let the machine do its business developing according to the DX code, development time is irrelevant as the store will normally take 15mins anyway.

>>241312
Depends on the machine. The Noritsu machine at my local store doesn't like pushing or pulling. It will only do according to the DX code. We experimented at pushing some film once. Pushed some 400ASA by 2 stops but since the machine will only develop it at 400ASA we turned the machine off while the film was developing for about 45 seconds. leaste to say it kinda worked but not worth the hassle.

I never noticed any mechanism for reading dx codes on the fuji processors. It takes 2 rolls at a time side by side into the same bath of chems for the same amount of time every time. GUess tahts just those RA-4 chems.

Single wipers aren't as bad as you'd expect. I had an old Benz that came with one stock, it was decent enough. If you look, you'll see that its sweep covers most of the driver's perspective, with most of the "missing" area that'd be covered by a normal wiper falling on the vinyl banner.
