Holy shit, chap.
ISO rating 1600? Shooting against the sun? No no no no! ISO is the sensitivity rating of the sensor. Higher ISO will result in faster exposures, but will introduce a quality-deteriorating noise to the image. The more ISO, the more noise. Use ISO to get better shots in low light, when a tripod isn't available. In sunny weather, keep it at 100. You really don't need a shutter speed of 1/2000 for floral photography. And even with a shutter speed that fast, you've overexposed the shot a little. Try not to create too many highlights (burnt-out white) on your pix. Precious detail gets lost.
For floral photography, get a macro lens and a water sprayer, tho. Focus in tight on the prettiest flower you can find, throw the background out of focus (but keep a stem, to give it an anchoring point), spray water on the petals to simulate dew droplets and shoot.
