Somewhere in Tokyo... Anonymous
Picture taken at a shrine in Haryjuku Tokyo.

Someone from /B/ decided to abuse the system, I did the same and sent him a message back.

I'm suprised their board was still sitting up the front after a month.

Teehee!

Probably not enough Japanese people with enough of an understanding of English to realize what that really says.

So is true that Japanese universities are a joke? Fuck, I'd hella want to attend one. I'm assuming you're fluent in moonspeak, no?

Getting in is the hardest part, Then its a joke, Barely any homework, Administration will actively try to pass you, And in your last year will help (a lot) you find a job, They like high graduation and job placement rates more than "real" educationional value.

well, this is grad school, so it's slightly less bad, but classes are still horrible. each professor lectures about their own pet subject/research, or even better, they make the students do the presentations from a book and just sit around and look smug. kinda worthless.

undergrad is really a joke, though, since it's basically like high school part 2, almost everybody goes to one, and once you're in you're going to finish it one way or another.

Wait, you go to Todai, too? Or is that only>>51884?

Fuck, I want to go to grad school in Japan (finishing my undergrad in like 3 weeks) but I dunno how to go about it. I dunno if I my Japanese is good enough for regular classes (I have about 4 years' worth under my belt). And yeah, I don't really care if the classes aren't all that great or whatever...it's not like that's the main reason I'd want to attend.

if you really feel like going, you can try getting a scholarship (http://www.studyjapan.go.jp/en/toj/toj0302e.html) or paying for yourself.

oh and I'm nowhere near fluent in moonspeak, but know enough to get by, sort of. (jlpt 2)
