5gb pics, host where? Anonymous
I got around 5gb of pictures that I've taken during the last few years. And I was thinking I should upload it somewere, but where?

Are any of the free sites good? I saw flicker got a monthly upload limit, and photobucket cropped my pics. Any other free sites that would be recommended checking out?

I could of course rent a server or space, but I'm not sure I wanna do that right now since the pictures don't really generate any money.

Where do you /p/s host yours?

Only 5 gig?! Good lord, that's a tiny amount!

flickr doesn't have a monthly upload limit if you pay $24.95/yr.

ive only got just over 5gb from about 4 years shooting.
i dont keep the crap ones so theyre all my best shots (to me at least)

if you only want to upload them as a back up and not for sharing/selling or whatever then why not an external hard drive?
itll be cheaper, its a 1 of purchase, will be faster, more convenient for you and has way more storage.
if its for backup only then fill it up and store it at a mates place?
of course, its harder to share them...

10GB on Picasa = $20 USD a year.

AFAIK there's no limits on monthly uploads etc.

Scavenge a little PC, stick it on your network and set up a DYNDNS account.

MY vote for Dreamhost also, 200GB storage space to start is pretty wicked, And you can put them up however you like.

Plus remote FTP for downloading said pics is always handy, rather than dealing with PBase or Flickrs shitty interface
