>>257465 >So, that's what I made. You think your rich? >I live in NYC. You couldn't even rent a 1 br aprt with that salary. I know several secretaries that make more than $100,000, I know at least 2 Paralegals that make that much, I know a PR person with a BA that makes $115,000. I also know a dentist who makes at least $350,000, and a guy who owns a very small chain of stores who lives in an $8,000,000
1) Move out of NYC you dumb shit. If you don't want to pay out the ass for living expenses, don't live in the most expensive city in the fucking country.
2) It's a 4-year degree. Why the FUCK would you expect to get paid the same as a fucking DENTIST who went through at least 7-8 years of school to get his degree?
>The fact you think 80 grand is big money nowadays shows what kind of trailer park trash you are.
Never said it was "big money", but compared to 90% of the jobs you would have gotten with a fine arts degree it's significantly more money. All of my non-engineering friends who graduated from the same school in the same year are earning between $36k-$56k.
So, as I already stated, Engineers are NOT underpaid compared to the majority of their peers with similar amounts of education & experience.
Argue it all you want, but the facts are heavily against your moronic statement.
