Just got back a test roll of kodak gold 100 that I ran through my canon ae-1. Looks like the camera works fine, but my first two shots didn't expose and the third was a partial exposure (like 1/6 of the frame) and after that was lined up right. Anybody know how to fix that?
This is the only one that came out with colors and contrast looking like it should, although a couple others were close. But what do you expect for cheap film and kodak processing? Comparing exposure against my d40, they meter the same, so I may need to underexpose most shots by 2/3's to a full stop. I think some of the loss of contrast was processing adjustment for a little overexposure.
