Questions about Photo Editing Superthrust
I have some simple questions about my editing. I have a camera that can record movies and take pictures.

I use my camera sometimes to record a movie and turn it into a animated .GIF file. My only problem is, once its turned into a movie, how do i speed it up? When it goes into .GIF form, it loses speed GREATLY. I have lowered the time as low as it can go, but something is still not right.

The programs i use is Gimp, U-Lead GIF animator, and Adobe image Ready. All do the same thing almost and neither will speed it up fast or make the file size smaller than 5mb. Any Help?

In ImageReady you can set the duration of each frame. Select the frame (or group of frames) in the "Animation" tab, click on the frame duration, select a smaller time per frame (which will speed up the animation).

See attached screenshot.

i have tried this, and though i lower it as much as possible, it still does not speed up.

I dunno, that GIF seems fast enough for me. If you need to make it super fast, decrease the number of frames.

Have you tried the "No Delay" setting in ImageReady?

I mean, suppose you are taking videos at 15 fps. 1/15 of a second is 0.06 seconds. If you set to 0.1s (the smallest increment on ImageReady) your gif will actually be slower than the original video...

My camera records at 30fps. I will prolly be cutting about half off in frames, depending...how do i go about increasing speed and decreasing file size now?
