It's a little too much, but it is still kinda cool.

There's just too much contrast in the sky.
>> hannibal
It's halfway sexy, but at the same time the color difference between the top half and bottom half are too severe. Desatureate it a bit, mehbeh?

The contrast looks about right to me. Strong, but right.

It's too much saturation that's bugging me.

Ya something about the cloud lighting seemed a bit false to me, I thought it was the overexposed areas, but maybe the saturation is a bit overkill.

Heres the pic I started with (actually 4 pics made into a HDR (very low localized contrast, so it wouldn't look uber fake)

Add a little overall contrast or play with levels just a tad, and you'll have some win here.

>>96333
Its not as easy as it sounds, Give it a try if you like, the massive amounts of white sky kills the snow (messing with contrast doesn't make the snow look anything but gray)

in original pic I have about 5 layers each with its own gradient mask to isolate areas. then messed with levels and contrast.

oo great job, Makes the sky look much more realistic than my edit, and the snow looks good too.
thanks man!

Also for those asking where it was taken, It was in Kelowna, B.C. (Canada)
Same mountain as a lot of my shots (cause its a super fucking awesome mountain)
Pic related (also a repost)

The Fence in the bottom left of the screen gives it more depth i think.

Making it look moar real

It's a truly beautiful shot, but the cut-off tree at the bottom disturbs the pic a little.

Also needs moar lens flare.

Vincent, how do you make your panaromas? I've been thinking about doing a few, but I know nothing about how to do it besides "use tripod and a software program."

I crop all my pics to 3:1 ratio (For printing 12 x 36" prints.
So I had more detail I just cropped it out. Heres what I sort of started with.

Also Tripods are overated, I never use tripods even for indoor pano's. Use Autostitch, PTGui or CS3 photomerge for software.

Trick is (not really a trick) Turn your body around the camera, And take pictures with AT LEAST 20% overlap on each edge.
Also don't be afraid to take whole vertical rows aswell, I start top left work my way right, go down a row, work my way left, and if needed go back to the right again.
(Depending on the wind for clouds or moving subjects that is)
