I've done that before. "Why didn't I notice this before?". it's also a good reason to keep pics you normally wouldn't.

Mine don't go back very far, but I agree, you never know what you'll see once you've distanced yourself from your shots a bit.

No, not really. I usually associate something else that happened at the time when I took the picture like that time I got kicked out of the supermarket. Good times. Pictures were horrible though.
