I just used my 65mm of extension tubes and reversal ring on my 50mm f/1.8. Here are some results. I must go out and do this more. This is maybe 15 minutes of shooting, tops.

Thank you, exactly right.

It won't have good EXIF anyway, you'll just get that it was around 1/500th of a second (my camera's sync speed with my flash). They were all around that speed, stopped down to f/22. I fired my Vivitar 285hv at full power on my hotshoe.

They seem more interesting because of content and novelty than quality of composition. But, that said, they look nice.

i like the second ant picture better out of the ant pictures, and the reason i like the second picture is because theres more of a focus on the both the ants to the eyes are drawn to the ants, in the first picture, theres a lot of negative space that draws the eyes to the right side of the picture. but i like the second picture better.
