Hey /p/

I just got a Minolta SRT 100. It works well with 200 speed film.

The 400 was ungodly, but I didn't get a CD of that roll.

55mm Macro lens, ~1/125

I'm not sure about the macro shots, the adapter makes the image blurry.

Overall, the camera is pretty sweet. I still regret not having that 400 speed roll digitized.

You can probably take it back and ask 'em to digitize it for you.

1 second too long i'd say

stick the same film in any camera and it should perform roughly the same. film slr's are better judged by their reliability, ease of use and durability. really, it's better to just think of a film slr as a shutter housing. the lens you stick on it and the film you put in it are way, way more important.

pictures are alright. now it's time to try a new film.

There are some differences, though. Some certain consumer level Fuji films aren't very nice looking, but Kodak, from my experience, is generally pretty good.

Try Kodak Professional 400 Ultra Color for the greatest achievement in 400 speed film. It's very good (though expensive) stuff.
