Does /p/ develop their own film in their own dark room, or do they have it done at a store?

OP here again. Yeah I do black and white as well. Is color really that much different? I know it uses different chemicals and all.

nah, it's basically the same concept. it's just much, much more labor intensive, and you have to pay scrupulous attention to your temps and times. it's not impossible like some people make it out to be, though. i mean, i did it in high school, and i was a fucking idiot back then. the hard part is getting the chemicals. none of the photo stores in my area even stock them.

Ah, I see. Well, I don't plan on doing color because I mostly shoot black and white.

Same. Can't wait till I get to the dark room tomorrow, I've shot so much during my holiday. Also. Artschool + dark room + pretentious photography = lots of girls.

I process my own black and white. It's actually cheaper to have a local lab do my color slides than it would to do them myself, and they have better quality control that I would.

how much does your lab charge?

You're also all forgetting that color processing chemicals have known carcinogens that cause cancer.

Not, "lol, second-hand smoke" cancer, but HOLY FUCKING SHIT BENZYNE PLASTICS CHEMS cancer.

meh, gloves. gasoline is carcinogenic too.

Store until I learn to do it myself, but I'm not buying chemistry for a long time until I've been using film for a while. Also, my film camera is dead, so it's going to be a long time until then.

I can't seem to find someone to do E-6 in my city though!

I do both BW and Color myself, including prints. Used to do slide prints too, before a long hiatus after which I realized I couldn't obtain slide print chemicals anymore ;_; .

And EVERYTHING causes cancer.

See

It's a little bit worse than the usual cancer hypes.

So it's for sure? The cancer killing 4chan is coming from us mucking around with film?

Shut up.
>> Butterfly !xlgRMYva6s
>>176344
No, because none of us are actually out taking photos, nothing gets developed so no cancer.

Its not /p/.

Yes, but only color film. BW film gets you the chicks.
