Kept file large so I could make a print of it.

Learn to use the little negative cursor it gives you.

Appears to be a good subject, but:

Needs to be resized/cropped. Maybe a different perspective to eliminate the distracting upper left/lower right.

People don't want to have to scroll around their entire monitor to view a photo.
>> abphoto
>>191533
Not everyone has giant monitors with the rezo cranked. So...
as a general guide line, no taller than 610 pixels, no wider than 720 pixels. Keep it at 72 dpi to keep load times down. Anything more is fucking anoying as hell to scroll around to see.

Windows Internet explorer re-sizes large images to fit the screen retard and if you internet connection cant load a large image the just GTFO
>> abphoto
>>192351

Yeah, it does resize the image. It also makes it look like shit when it does that. This is a photography board. So it makes sense to present you work so that it looks its best and is easy to view. If you can't understand that simple concept then I kindly suggest that you GTFO.

resize man. it's just a courtesy. don't be so butthurt.
>> Anonymous
>>192351
1. It resizes images with possibly the worst algorithim currently in use to do so. It looks like ass.

2. It's not our bandwith that's the concern. Well, for most of us. You do realize /p/ has posters from all around the world, where broadband might not be the standard like it is for people in whatever plush G7 country you and I come from.

The real issue is 4chan's bandwith. This is the fifth most popular Internet community and Moot + ads to a bunch of porn and Weeabo merchandise are paying for it. Don't tax the servers.

looks like someone needs to learn the difference between resizing and resampling...
>> Anonymous
yer but you are telling this guy that has an images 1600x1200 when a few posts down there is an image 3008x2000

http://zip.4chan.org/p/src/1212037722831.jpg
so why give this guy shit when there is worse?
>> Anonymous
if this is the fifth most popular internet community what is number 1

>>192360
Because I didn't look at that one and didn't know it was huge.

Gaia. I'm not shitting you.
