work on a theme, or idea. a project. the reason you can't find a subject is because you don't know what to look for. find something or some place that interests you and concentrate on that.

i'd say you're off to a good start: do park benches.

As far as it goes for these two specifically, the first is nice but the placement of the lamppost is particularly distracting. The second provides a better angle, but strikes me as being just a bit too low.
Looks like you have a good start.
