Fantasy World Anonymous
So I've got a task for my photography class at school and I'm wondering if I could get any suggestions on my subject matter. The task description is as follows:

"You are to photograph an exterior or an interior and construct a 'fantasy world'. You are to submit 2 prints. Your constructed world should communicate ideas of fantasy through various Surrealist and digital manipulation techniques learnt in class."

So the aim is to produce photographs that communicate a strong artistic intention and are without obvious flaws. The photographs must communicate a well constructed fantasy world and challenge the notions of reality. I was thinking of perhaps doing something with a single human surrounded by several ghosts (done via digital manipulation obviously) or something of the sort but am not too sure on anything yet. All suggestions are welcome and appreciated. Please no hate comments or flaming. If there is some flaming at least let there be some good comments too. :P Thanks guys. :)

Well shit. Your photo class is a lot easier than mine. Each project I do, I have to turn in 15, all printed with 5 mounted.

If you're going with the 'ghost' idea, there are plenty of things that could go with that. For interior all you need to do is find some abandoned building and there's your 'surrealist' world and you could put ghosts where ever the hell you want.

Exterior, wake up early and shoot in a graveyard (if they both need to convey the same kind of idea) and hope there's fog or frost. Either one will work but fog will work better.

I have another idea for your project but, I realized that's something I want to do.

OP here: Haha, cool thanks heaps. That's helped a lot. :) I'm only year 12 (Australia) - second year of non-compulsory schooling and last year before any extra study, i.e. university, college, etc. So that's maybe why mine's easier? Well thanks again, perhaps I'll post my pictures when they're done. :P
