Also, if you were to choose between the Sigma EX 10-20/4.0-5.6 DC HSM and the Tokina AT-X 12-24/4, which one would you choose?

The Sigma is 2mm wider than the Tokina and it also focuses more closely, but the Tokina seems to be sharper and the largest aperture is f/4.0 throughout the whole zoom range.

They're close enough that I would just take a look at all the optical properties- not just sharpness, but bokeh, how it deals with flare, etc. and pick the one I liked the best.
