No offense intended (I think it's a badass shot)....I'm just a contrast junkie.

This sucks so much it hurts my head.

That's fair. I'm drunk and sort of didn't pay too close attention.

this would benefit from careful cropping.. its too long and the bottom adds nothing (imo).

good shot though.

>>236235
I would like to see colour on this one - there's not enough highlights on the buildings on the right I think, for a black and white picture..

I like the pictures btw, but stuff like that ^ is probably more useful than me going ":)"

even something like this..

not a lot of thought in this crop (just cut off some of the bottom), but you don't lose any of the cool perspective on the ground, and there's not as much just black ground taking up the shot.. also gets the horizon out of the direct center, and follows the rule of thirds, come to think of it..

>HDR?

is it?

ground, buildings, and clouds all look just awesome.. I just love the rich look of the ground more and more each time I see it.

if its not it has the feel of well done hdr
>> Anonymous
No, it's not hdr, just some non-invasive shadow/highlight control...anyway thanks for the tips, anon

Cropped one FTW. Vertical is a lil too much.

i like it alot more but id say next time move away from the streetlights, they are really distracting
>> Anonymous
Looks better cropped, the foreground is too dull, you don't want it to be distracting but on the other hand you want it to be interesting enough to be worthy of inclusion and ideally it would lead the viewer into the scene but here it just kinda steals useful space that the main subject could be taking up.

I like this crop the best. All the interesting detail is right there for my eye to enjoy. It's too spread out in the horizontal one; but that's just me.
>> ac !!VPzQAxYPAMA
A bit too much wide for the sake of wide, I'd say. There's no real central focus to the shot. Just "here's a street on a cloudy day". Everything looks too far away because wide angle is wiiiiiiide.

I cropped it like this, and I think it's a pretty nice shot.
<------

also you should really be careful to level the camera if you're going to shoot wide. I find the converging lines on the right distracting
