>>242513 My attempts to correct the whitebalance went tits-up sorry, hense the high red tones.
Didn't expect anyone to like it if im honest, - I just told her to sit there and do what she wanted.
The shot was only taken a day or two back, I was practicing different techniques for Band Promotional Shots indoors.
Attached is a scetch of how I set the lighting up. Excuse my MSPAINT expertise; im working on it.
I was about 2-3ft away from the subject, so in order to get her in I had to go as wide as I could - 18mm in my case.
The lighting was created by bouncing from an SB-600 (1/4 power I think) mounted on my camera, angled 90degrees into an umbrella to the left of me.
The umbrella was facing at a 45 degree angle to the subject, also about 2-3 foot away.
Additional lighting was ambient, as it was taken during the day time if I remember correctly.
Artificial lighting is still new to me, i'm forever learning new techniques to achieve the desired effect. I would have mounted the flash on a tripod (pointed into the umbrella) - but I can't afford any radio transmitters at the moment to set it off.
Hopefully this helps
