Not a photographer, just some dude who took some pictures for some class a while ago. I lurk around, but I've never taken any courses or anything. I just thought I'd post these.

Rip me to shreds.

I like this one, though I realise I should have raised the camera a bit more, so as to include more of the arch and less of the floor. Ah well.

Btw these are all scanned.

not bad, looks like someone might have some potential
>> Anonymous
I agree. You definitely have potential, so keep taking pictures and posting them. Might want to get rid of the noise, though.

These pictures have feeling.

I like the first one the best. Even though it's not technically great (too soft and too much noise), the subject is good. Photographs with a good subject, no matter how bad technically, will always be better than "OMG LOOK AT HOW SHARP THIS PICTURE OF MY SHOES IS".

wow, real nice. the grain makes me wonder how old these are; if you wanted an aged look.

The first one is beautiful.
>> street-pirate
It's not sharp, so call this art, and a reflection on today's consumer culture, and call anybody who disagree simple.

OP here. The grain/noise is because of the scanner, the actual pictures are cleaner. I do like how some of these ended up post scanning, but it was not on purpose.

Thanks for all the comments, though. I'm looking to get into some photography courses when I have the time.

What did you scan with? Did you use a flatbed or did you use a film scanner?

Flatbed, and I got that from my old school. Don't have, or have seen, a film scanner around here.
