I'm currently using a LowePro all-weather bag to store my Nikon D40 and two lenses, 4 memory cards, battery charger, and the USB cable. Although it is a really awesome bag, needless to say the its getting pretty cramped.

What bags do you guys use and recommend? Which would you stay away from?

How much was that?

All the LowePro's I see locally are around £50 upwards. :-/

Got a nice Tamrac online for around £20 instead.

I have a tamrac and a lowepro. My tamrac is a backback to carry all my lenses on a hike, etc. it works good and gives me lots of storage.

LowePro seems to be the only brand stores here carry. The bag itself is awesome tho. Tons of pockets for organizing things, a belt clip, even has a little umbrella type cover that you can use to protect your gear in the rain. The bag is really durable and well crafted, and i'm pushing it to the limits overstuffing it with all my gear. It cost me $25 at Best Buy I think. I like it a ton, but all their bags seem to be really tiny, probably to push their "sliplock" system which is connecting a bunch of bags together. I'd rather just get one big bag to hold all the stuff than 4 tiny ones.

My favourite's a Tamrac Superlight 5. I can carry a Canon Rebel XT with battery grip, 420EX flash, 28/2.8, 50/1.8 and 135/2.8 lenses and their hoods with no wasted space. The only problem is that it looks like a camera bag and mine is an incredibly attention-getting and ugly shade of yellow. It's quite rugged, though.

I also have a beautiful Lowepro Nova 4 all-weather that sits in my closet because it's huge and bulky and screams "expensive gear! steal me!", and a roots photo backpack that I hate because I have to take the damned thing off to get at gear.

I have the Lowepro Slingshot AW 200. I love it. its easy to carry as a backpack and flips around for a top opening camera bag without having to take it off. I can sore 4-5 lenses and a body in the main compartment, flash in the top and charger etc in the outside pocket

I have the exact bag in the picture, and it barely fits a D70s or D50 and an Sb-600 (or another lens)
So I will need another one soon, just haven't found one I like yet.

Also I do like the bag, its just a bit too small now.

Im getting rid of all my digital gear and snagging a nice medium format setup, so Im thinking of getting the less expensive Adorama bag. I dont need a lot of space so it should fit a Bronica w/lense and a few accessories.

I'd like some information about Domkes; this is the first I've heard of them.

Are they the Lecias of the bag world or something like that?

They're as good as it gets if you actually carry your gear around and use it.

I've got a Lowepro AW3. I'm pretty happy with it. I'd kinda like something bigger, too, though--my current film SLR isn't nearly so nice and compact as my previous one. Wish I could get something with the shape and focusing screen of a Minolta SR-T with a Canon EF mount.

Pic related. Big black thing is my Rebel II S body. Also visible, a roll of Velvia I'm really looking forward to trying out, along with my 18-55 f/3.5-5.6, 50 f/1.8, and 80-200 f/4.5-5.6. My Digital Rebel XTi sits on top with the lens pointed down in the empty quadrant there with the handgrip hooked over the lower left and the flash hooked over the upper right quadrants, respectively.

Extra batteries and cards go in the front pouch. Side pouches hold filters and whatnot. Back pouch has my checkbook, top pouch has my passport and 18% grey lens wipe.

I'm seriously fucked if anyone ever steals this bag.

I know the feeling. Get Insurance Nao. Srsly.
Don't plan to get some, just sneak up on it and go get it. The second you plan to, shit's gonna get stolen.

ive got a lowepro nova 4 aw and its nice. i just cant fit any huge pro lenses in it, but i dont have any of those yet anyway. it fits my D80 nicely with some filters and extra memory cards and batteries no problem. i think i can fit about 6 or 7 lenses in it, or like 5-6 and a flash. itd be a little cramped with that kind of load though, but its possible.
