Playing around with IR. ;o

I dunno why the files are so big though.. and they're not even that high resolution.

I prefer the first one for the colours but like this composition better.

Probably just the low compression, but the file size is okay. Looking pretty nice, except for the distortion near the edges.. Crappy lens, or just the trees moving a lot due to the long exposure time?

>>223990
Wait, what did you use as filter? That might also explain the red blotch in the middle..

Meh, I think it's the Sigma at 10mm when it gets "pulled" a little bit too much at the edges.

Some lenses have hotspot in the middle when shooting IR.

Just a little? If you ask me it looks horrid.. That picture is already a lot better. Got to love black skies.

Never encountered that myself, hm. Thanks for the info.
>> sage !i/euDJmWr2
haha, that's my fake trip from the other day isn't? neat.

Anyway, these look good for just "playing around" with IR, but then again I'm a sucker for IR. The distortion is distracting, but other than that they're really nice to look at.

What filter are you using?
>> sage !7fWuMpLs4s
>>223994

R72 filter.

Which red are we talking about? That's from the processing.

>>224003

Oops, I didn't know the name was taken.
>> sage !i/euDJmWr2
>>224007
It doesn't matter, tripcode is different anyway. I just posted a picture the other day that had a fake version of my tripcode in it and I thought you were using that. No worries. :)

Wait, OP isn't female? ;o

>>224007
There's a red splotch under the middle tree in>>223990
I certainly hope you didn't shop it in?
>> sage !7fWuMpLs4s
What the? Why am I a chick? Because of the smilie?

I have a cock and I masturbate to /s/, is that manly enough now?

I don't see the splotch you're talking about. But I didn't add anything to the picture. What's there is there in real life. o_O

Sigma 10-20mm = worst IR lens I have ever used, Nasty Hotspots and Sharpness is sketchy at best

the Nikon 18-70 and even the 18-55 are pretty good. The 18-70 being the better of the 2

/s/? Dude, all they post there is anorexic chicks with too much airbrushing. I really don't understand people getting off on that.

The sage that is already on /p/ is female, or at least to my knowledge.

I've encircled it, though I suppose it's brown and not really a splotch. It still looks pretty bad though.

By golly, good story bro
>> sage !7fWuMpLs4s
There's like 10 posts that appeared suddenly that weren't there before. o_O

I dunno, it's like that after I convert it. I think it's normal to have some red tints in parts of the image.
