Not true at all. Leica lenses tend, for whatever reasons, to have a similar, distinctive look.
A similar example is the three f/1.4 Canon primes currently in production (24, 35, 50), which make almost exactly the same look as each other, although it's usually not quite this pronounced. Especially across decades of lens design.

QFT. Which I think is much closer to what you're trying to say: that Leica lenses aren't magic, but are very good, as are other lenses produced by (among others) Zeiss, Pentax, Nikon, Canon, Olympus, Minolta/Sony, Fuji, Mamiya, Angénieux, Cooke, Schneider Kreuznach, and even "budget" companies like Sigma and Tamron.
