We just got these in at Best Buy, they're actually really awesome. So far we only have the 200 which carries 4 lenses, but there are a 6 and 2 lense bags also.

I want one and I don't even have a DSLR yet. D:

Are there any other bags like this from other companies?

I've got that bag. It's great. The best part is it goes from being on your back to being in front of you very quickly for quick access.

that looks pretty good, and i'm in the market for a new bag since my old one only carried my camera plus one lens... i need space for my speedlite and 2 extra lenses.

how much are these?? or should i just continue to stuff my old should bag into my regular backpack? i just feel like carrying a camera around sometimes says 'ROB ME I'VE GOT EXPENSIVE EQUIPMENT ON ME!!'

They're $100 at BB, I think $80 with free shipping at amazon. I would go into BB to look at it, if you have to have it then, buy it, if not amazon.

If you have friends at BB, it's cheaper than both.

I've got an old tamrac shoulder bag with the velcro dividers. Tough as nails. I would like one that allowed two lens-equipped bodies at once, but it's not a real big deal.

Lowepro bags are ugly.

I have Crumpler Bunny Man. Very nice bag, could be a little bigger, but it holds D70, 18-70mm, 50mm, external flash and there's still some room.

I considered a slingshot for a brief moment then realised it wasn't big enough. At the moment I've got a Steath reporter 500AW and it's horrible. Next LowePro one I buy will be a rucksack type one.

I have the Specialist 85AW:

http://www.lowepro.com/Products/Beltpacks/allWeather/Specialist_85_AW.aspx

Works well for a dSLR with a big zoom on it like the 70-200/2.8. It works "less well" for when you want anything but the big-ass zoom on the camera, as the big zoom still takes up the center large compartment. If you primarily shoot stuff with a large tele, it's great. I love it at the track.

It has a combined shoulder strap and belt, which makes it insanely comfortable to haul a decent amount of stuff in. When shooting, you can slide it around to your side or front, and work "out of" the bag. It came with plenty of dividers- a bunch of them are sitting on the shelf because I didn't need them after making pockets for my three other lenses.

A plastic rain shield is in the bottom and comes out fairly easily to cover the entire thing and keep it dry in practically monsoon-like conditions. Two stretchy mesh side pockets are perfect for small-diameter waterbottles.

If you shoot primarily with smaller lenses, maybe look for something similar but with a different internal layout. Top loading is still a great idea, I think...I just wish I had a layout that let it work with more than just my tele lens :( I can still stuff the camera in the bag with other lenses (especially smaller ones), it's just a little snug. A full-size or verticle-gripped camera would only be able to do the on-the-side trick positioned with the vert. grip towards the middle of the bag.

That Sling Shot looks mighty fine, and it's just what I need. I'll ask my local photo place to import a couple for us.

lowepro bags aren't the prettiest but they provide good protection and a lot of nice features. More than crumpler on both counts. I'm due for my yearly camera bag shopping trip... still searching for the "perfect bag"

Lowepro bags seem to last forever. They're not pretty, but they kick extreme ass.
