HDRs, Panoramas, and Infra red seem to popping up a lot in /p/ just lately..

Are there any other techniques/things i should be trying out with my new DSLR?

If your hdr comes out uglier than the shit you put in, then don't fucking put it up on the internet like you're proud of it.

Here's a technique you should be trying... Taking photos that are sharp.

Yes, im still learning at this, I enjoy trying all the different techniques. So apart from the obvious jibes about my blurry HDR shit, has anyone got any good things to try out?

Learn how to read lighting in your scene before trying anything crazy on the effects. Just go out and set your camera to black and white. Try to read contrast in scenes, black and white is a good way to train your eyes.
