discrete bag stickb0y7 !9FVrc11kpo
does anyone here have a non-camera-case-looking bag or "stealth" bag they use to carry around their DSLR?

there's many times i wish i had my camera with me, but don't usually carry it around - i have a lowepro bag that i keep it in but looks too obvious and/or touristy carrying that around, and i don't want to just carry the camera on my neck when i'm out doing something. i've been thinking about the Domke satchels, i might try to go to adorama to take a look at them this weekend.

i'd like something that doesn't look like a man-purse but can hold a d50 with my 50mm f/1.8 and 18-135mm lens and that's probably it, i probably won't carry around my flash or extra battery or anything.

I've thought about finding just a messenger bag of some kind too, generally i don't think they are padded though.

also here's a picture to make this a little less of a gear thread.

the thing with messenger bags is that

they either have a zip, that's good for easy access but not as much protection from a flap

or they got a flap, which is harder to get inside

the only bags i found with best of both worlds are the lowepro stealth reporter bags

they got the flap AND a zipper on top of it for quick access

if your afraid about the obviousness of a camera bag because of the fact that your stuff might get stolen you can get one of the lowepro flipsides. it also doesnt look TOOOO camera baggy it just looks like a really weird back pack, atleast to anyone what doesnt know what a camera bag looks like.

I have one of these and it fucking rocks. The compartment design is similar to>>240022but the bag itself is less gay looking.
