Wanna buy a new camera. Just lost a canon powershot. This one is at best buy for $250. It's more advanced than I'm used to, but I've been wanting to get into shutter speed tricks and stuff like that. Is this a good idea y/n?

P.S., It's at best buy for 250, but priced as almost 500.

Kodak digital cameras = bag of ass. Get a Canon.

Agreed. I bought a Kodak P880 about a year ago and I find myself going back to my old as dirt, non-digital, 35mm on a regular basis. Do as much research as possible before investing in a nice camera.

OP here, I have read a whole bunch of reviews and this model has gotten 5 stars across the board. I'm really looking for something I can point and shoot, but also, if I wanted to, do some minor adjustments. I'm definitely not an advanced photographer. I just found another site which says I can get it $205 with free shipping. Still no?

For the love of dog, don't get a Kodak. Stick with Canon, they don't fuck around.

Alright then, give me a Canon digital camera that uses rechargable batteries, an SD memory card, has a fairly easy interface, with an adjustable shutter speed but still able to be point and shootable. Oh, and keep it below $270

Pretty much ANY Canon A-series camera.
