Girl's pretty, but the photograph's pretty boring. Just another fashion shot in the typical style.

Also, ditch the watermark.

i like it a lot... enough to not be too annoyed that you didn't resize... good pic
>> Anonymous
that's some extrem fast shutter speed

bothers me that her hand and leg are out of focus and it's generally not super sharp but will probably be sharp enough when resized

i give it a 7/10 for style and content

Just like every photographer moonlighting as a graphic designer manages to do.

well done, her bra made that weird line on her shirt tho, i guess you could clone stamp it out.

i have to say your website is one of the ugliest one i've seen

good photos though

A bunch of things here could be improved. First, her hand and forehead are slightly overexposed. I would have used a much smaller aperture, something like f8. If you want her to stand out from the background, use a fill flash. Second, the background is harsh. My guess is that you blurred it in photoshop with some sort of harsh filter. Don't, but If you must, use lens blur or gaussian, but go easy. Third, I would have tweaked the saturation. The colors are dead. And fourth, her face lacs any detail. She is just a white head with black sunglasses. Did you dodge her in photoshop?

OP here, i didnt blur the background here, its at an f/2.8, originally at an f/1.7 but i didnt have a fast enoug shutter speed to properly expose.

I over exposed this by a stop deliberately. I didn't photoshop her face, the over exposure helps me get rid of some imperfections on her face.

true story on the website, i'm a photographer, i have to find an asian kid or a highschooler to do my site :p.

yeah yeah not standards compliant, i know :)

Also, I shot this using nikons sRGB color space, so when it converts over, you lose some of the original brilliance...look at the ICC profile...

appreciate the honesty

model is a little chubby for my liking (but according to /p/, i like nazi concentration camp crack addict bodies, so you can ignore that maybe)
anyway.. other than that i think the photo itself kicks ass.
excellent framing, very nice and dynamic composition.
the only critique i have is that i would've liked a little less DoF, maybe f8

the one i've resized is sRGB>>138708

i'm on safari so i can see the correct profiles so that might be why some others are saying it looks dull

sRGB is the standard colorspace; it should be displaying correctly for everyone with a calibrated monitor. Colors look perfect to me.

The only real problem with this photograph is that it's unoriginal. It's a rather cute girl in a slinky, vibrant shirt, jeans, and those boot things they wear these days, shot like about ten thousand other photographs of rather cute girls in slinky, vibrant shirts, jeans, and those boot things they wear these days. Make it a bit more lively and creative.

It looks to me as if she has slightly thick legs- which is just fine- and a slim upper body, not that she's chubby at all.

i agree, these were for her headshots, and I kind of ran with it. didn't have my MUA with me at the time or an extensive wardrobe.

i'm have a huge casting at my house on saturday for 12, 40's / 50s pinup girls, so ill let you guys know how this potential shit show goes down haha.

as a person she looks fine in my books..
and it may just be this photo that doesn't show any definition in the shape of her body

that's all
