Sup /p/, question for all the 18-200 (Nikkor) owners:

When you put the lenses down, or up, and zoom to 70~27, does it slide down (or up)due to -I guess- it's own weight?

I noticed mine really enjoys moving on it's own, depending on the lenses' position. Does this happens to other people, should I worry, or it's notmal?

Cool, so no need to return it or something then.

It's a little bit "hard" around the 70-100something area for somebody else?

Put an elastic band around the begining of where the len moves, flip it forward so its on the moving part and the non moving part of the lens when you have it in position and flip it back when you want to change the lenght. If its that much of a problem anywyas, mine doesnt really give me to much trouble.

Funnily enough it's almost a design feature... well not really but Nikon's response to the creep problem makes it sound like so.

Nikon is usually like... ummm yeah it's meant to do that.

If yours doesn't creep, don't worry it will eventually, you have to wait for a while.
