This is why you're a Nikonfag. I had my D80 about a week. I arrive in Chicago, see this big art piece. Think to myself, 'ohh I'd like a close up of those lights'. Walk up to it, take a few shots, get closer. Look round and people are looking and laughing at me. Rather selfconsciously, not knowing why, I ignore them and get closer. Then boom. Right on my camera. I mean, right on my camera. A year and a half on, after numerous collisions with concrete from various heights and several rainy nights, it still works like a charm.
