So yeah, I've been using the same 30 yr old SLR camera since I bought it at a pawn shop ten years ago, but now I want to upgrade to digital. What is the best digital SLR camera out there under $800? I'm thinking the Nikon D50, but any suggestions? Something cheaper? Better?EXIF data available. If you get a Pentax dSLR, you can reuse your lenses.
Yep, I think the K10D would be a good choice for you. Pricegrabber says $750 with kit lens, and you can use your old lenses as well.
>>79786I'm pretty happy with my K110, it's pretty nice, it only cost me like $398 with tax. if you have the money, get the K10
I have K10D and highly recommend it. Weather sealing is nice. :)
>>79801You can get the K100D with 18-55 for $400 after mail-in rebate or the body for $350 after rebate from Amazon.I agree, though, to spend the extra $300 for the K10D (if you can afford it).
