Good lense for Pentax tripfag !TAHuMAgQ/k
hey /p/

I have a Pentax K110D, Looking for lense, I want a lense that has a good-wide end as well as a decent zoom (or telephoto, for like portraits) and fast if possible, low price, too (not that big of problem though)

Can't you do your own research? photo.net

16-45 and 16-50 seem to fit your specifications. The 16-50 will be a lot more (not sure of the exact price), but it's weathersealed and has a constant f/2.8 aperture. Don't let this discourage you from the 16-45, though; it has much better IQ than the kit lens.

Thanks.

A canonfag friend of mine has a 35-105 or some shit, do they make those for Pentax?

A 35 isn't wide at all on a digital sensor like yours.

As 3x zooms go (like that 35-105), the ones mentioned already (16-45, 16-50) will be better for general use, but they won't zoom as far as you might be expecting. But since larger zoom ratio lenses get very slow and very soft, you're better off buying another lens to cover your telephoto end.

Eh, Well I don't mind how wide-angle it's not. I need something to cover a decent range, yet give me something to kill the DoF for portraits.

You have kinda weird requirements.

Get a Tamron 18-250 if range covered is your priority, and then a 50/1.7 for portraits.

pentax's own 18-250 is pretty damn good
