hi /p/

I generally bear hatred towards pet shots, or at least posting them for others to see as if they're some sort of masterpiece, but I liked this one a bit. What do you think?

Some do, and pet pictures are often boring, I'm not saying this is an exception to the boring either.

>your's would be better if the dog wasn't blurry.
It would look like every other 'freeze frame' shot if the dog wasnt blurry. The difference is what I liked about it.

It's a slow exposure, obviously, and while I did pan to follow the dog as it fell, it did squirm a bit. In other words, nothing I can do to fix the dog being blurry, unless I either

a) used a wider aperture and thus made the background sharper as well, thus exposing its ugliness, making it an even worse shot or...

b) used a longer telephoto with a high aperture to blur the background AND freeze the frame, which I dont have and wouldnt have done much of a difference anyways.

In any case, that's your opinion, but that's my answer to it.

Oh that's where you're wrong. When I take pictures of my pets they ARE masterpieces. For example, here's a picture that's a culmination of my entire life's work. My masterpiece. My pet diptych. No animal picture will ever be as magnificent as this.

is diptych/triptych becoming a new /p/ meme or something? I've seen more of them in the past day or so than I have on /p/ in quite some time

I dunno. I was just browsing through all the crappy snapshots I've taken in the past 2 days, saw this thread, and thought it would be amusing.

Well, I like the light on the cats at least. Much nicer than the contrast-less cloudy day lighting on mine. (I'm OP)
