sup /p/
need halp

i just cant get the colors on this pic look good. even saturating the blue sky a bit does not turn out the way i like it.

would you just adjust the colors and show me the pic?
also, how do i saturate the sky without touching the rest of the pic? it's like i cannot get a good mask of it.
>> Anonymous
did you try using curves?
>> Anonymous
>>221533
i tried right now with no good results.

i got another wuestion though:
when i use the tone curve to get the darker areas (here: trees in the background) brighter, the contrast gets lower, of course.
problem is, that low contrast looks shitty.
if i apply the tone curve to get the darker areas brighter and afterwards push contrast higher, the image quality sucks.

The greenery is underexposed, thats your problem here. Try and shoot it again if you can.

i didn't want the great sky get overexposed i think, that's why the greens are underexposed as you said.

Problem you have is, is that the ground is underexposed, but the sky is -nearly- correctly exposed, so simply dragging up the curves would only fix the ground and ruin the sky.

Although my "fix" isnt exactly perfect, its more along the lines of a correct exposure imo.

nothing special at all, no fancy manual curves or adjustments, just presets.

all i did was saturate and play with the hue of a copy of the image in photoshop then i put a copy of the original ontop of it,, masked it and used a gradient on the top 1/2 to erase the sky....

i also cloned out the playground / rides in the bottom corner etc..

(its not the best job but only took a few mins ^_^ )

>>221545
not bad, although the whole pic is a bit oversaturated imo

>>221547
sky is good here, green could be a bit stronger. other than that i like this edit the most.
you used a mask didn't you? because that was my problem, as seen in your picture the tops of the trees look strange when using a mask.

>>221551
the green is too red, looks like autumn here
the sky is good though

>>221556
too dark and oversaturated, meh

>>221636
love the sky again, but the trees and so on are too dark (as in the original) but as already said, it's because the original is underexposed
I will also take away the playground and so on, that's something i actually can do.

What I'm not good at is getting the contrast / contrast / color adjustment etc.

Thanks so far everybody, I'll look what I can do and maybe post the result later.

You shouldn't even need to mask with the huge contrast between the sky and the trees. Use the individual color curves. If your PS version doesn't have it, try a selective color layer.

On my (uncalibrated) monitor, it looks like your sky is fine as it is, and most of the edits seem to blow out the cloud area. Just try brightening the greens.

You're an unhappy little teenybopper/twenty-something, aren't ya'? Are you off your meds? Perhaps counseling would help polish your socail skills to the point of having a larger vocabulary than needing to be negative and be able to pen a sentence w/out using 'fuck." Go ahead - give it a try. You'd come across a whole lot better (and more educated, no?)

not who your talking to but who the fuck are you?

the cloud area is fine on the contrast side but i would like it a bit more saturated (like here>>221547).

>Just try brightening the greens.
That's where i fail. :)
But I'll give it a go. (and most likely post the result)
