feedback? what adjustments would you make?

i would make the subject smaller by backing off a little ( the first rule of photography is to NEVER get too close) and try to put it dead-center in the frame so that the eye is drawn to it and you can see what is around it. the eye is naturally drawn to the dead-center of the frame anyway, so your subject better be there.

Well, to tell the truth many adjustments are needed in this case. That couch is just awful, you need a new one. Also, and I think you'll agree this is an understatement: your living room is a little messy. And you need a roof or something.

Seriously, what kind of rubbish rule is that?
You obviously suck at photography.

i will have walked a few metres to the left and taken the shot from there so it includes the road/pathway and the natural rhythm of the pillars will lead the eye to the couch which will be slightly offset from the centre and viewed from an interesting angle.

but i guess thats just me.
