>>110059 Sure though its not exactly impressive :)
Print was done at Costco, 12x36 is a standard size for their good Noritsu printers. Cost me a whole $8 CAD (information I usually don't give freely to people I'm selling to!) As for a frame, its a Black metal frame dimensions, 44x20" which leaves a 4" since black matte border around the entire picture. The Bigger the Matte the more Square the picture looks, I find 4" is a good compromise while still keeping it looking quite "Panoramic"
Also the place I get it done at is roughly half the price of all other quotes I got in town, so not sure why she is soo much cheaper. but I pay about $90 CAD after Tax for the frames. (foamcore backing, acid free matte's, all the regular stuff)
>>110084 Tripods don't even fix for Parallax error, So I figure whats the use lugging one around when I can fix minor errors in post anyway (didn't find any errors in the winter one either...). All I do is stand in one spot and turn my body. Plus I'm standing on a kind of precarious cliff here, so I doubt I could set one up anyway!
Program is PTGui, although I hear CS3 and Autostitch can do a good enough job, PTgui lets you adjust the controll points in post, so for tricky large panoramics its good to have that option!
As for taking pics, at least 20% overlap is all I do. (I've done up to 52 picture panoramics with P&S camera's, PTGui is pretty damn awesome)
