can anyone help me with night photos? I'm having trouble with blur, It seems like the camera still moves even on the tripod with remote shutter release.

Tripod- HEAVY tripods are better

Mirror lock- most cameras have a mirror inside that flips up for the photo. At slow speeds this cause a vibration that blurs photos. Most decent cameras have a function to lock it. Usually it's a pain in the ass find, check your manual.
