I prefer the color version. Not enough contrast between the wall and ocean to make monochrome work.

You must be new here.

Personally prefer the coloured version, as stated, there is not enough contrast for the b&w version. Plus the inside doesn't look as defined, it looks flat.

The coloured version is beautiful though.

i like the B&W one more
i just dont like any of the colors in the color one, personally.
maybe with some levels or something the color might be more to my liking but as it stands i think i like the black and white more.

B&W by all means, contrast is fine. Colour one is washed out, and has slightly worse composition too. If you did postprocess the B&W and have the RAW, I'd keep a faint hint of the shadow details - just enough to make them them out, but not ruin the contrast. This is my personal preference though.

I would have to say that the color one is better, but it still could use a little work. I would play with the reds and if you have Lightroom, I'd mess with the aqua sliders to make the ocean look a little less 1970.

The color one could stand an unsharp mask as well.

My reasoning behind liking the color over the black and white is that the red of the brick and the green of the slime on the rocks is lost in black and white. And those two contrasts really add a lot to the color picture.

now your posing a really difficult question

1. i cant compare the two really because they were taken from a different angle, so its two different pictures.
2. i like the colours more, they definitely give the picture more depth. also it are beautifull colors, unfortunately rather rare (red) and dominated by grey but still, nice colours
