Looks like A3x0 is basically Olympus E-330 done right.

>24-70mm f/2.8 ZA lens will be available for about $1,750
>70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 G lens will be available for about $800.

what the FUCK are they thinking
>> Anonymous
Needs moar Butterfly.

Sony's version of live view is nice though.

Lol, when Olympus E-330 came out, everyone was like "ah, let them be with their weird and useless shit", and now Canon/Nikon/Pentax and Sony basically copied both of its Live View modes.
Now I wonder what shit Olympus guys will come up with next.

The only reason olympus had it first is because it's easier to implement in their tiny ass 4/3ds sensors. Same reason live view was on APC-C before fullframe.

Butterfly isn't the only person that's a fan of Sony/KM.

For amateurs it's not that bad of a deal: In camera VR/IS which will work with any lens KM made from ~1985 to 2003, AF on EVERY body, and cheap used KM lenses on Ebay (I saw a 70-200f/2.8 for <$2000 the other day).

You guys can't deny they aren't that bad of cameras.

I see 70-200/2.8s go for sub 700 which is >$1400 so you are getting ripped off.

Can we do this again when there are links to specs etc? I personally dont give a crap about live view.

Seeing as you asked so nicely in your always eloquent way.

They sound worse than the A700, and they are certainly no A900 replacement. Sounds like nothing to get excited over.

And more. That should give you an idea of what to expect. Enjoy.

Live View wasn't on APS-C before full-frame: 1Ds III, 40D, D3 and D300 were announced almost simultaneously. And 1.3x crop 1D III was before them. So I don't see how implementing live view is harder on larger sensors - they just have to be CMOS-based in order not to overheat.

Just looking at that camera makes me question my gender identity...
>> Butterfly !xlgRMYva6s
Well it doesnt seem like anything special to me, 14MP isnt a great bump from 10 and none of the other specs are particualy impressive.

Im not interested in live view so unless i break my A100 soon Im going to be waiting for enough $$$ to get the A700, unless an A500 turns up <3
