Uh, yeah...

Ilford PAN 400 +1EV push in R-09 (Rodinal) 1+100. Bad idea.

Fomapan T200 +2EV push in R-09 (Rodinal) 1+100. Even worse idea, but I had no choice. Still, this turned out to be the only remotely usable frame out of the whole roll. "Can push to +2EV without development time change" my ass.

Oh, and just those two shots this time. Damn summer and 24 Celsius on the COLD tap. I'm out of ice to keep it down at 20 to develop stuff.

Im thinking of buying some Ilford film, what do you think of HP5+ and FP4+?

theyre nice. i'm more a kodak film shooter, plus-x is the equivalent of FP4+ but not very well known. t-grain films like delta have less grain and are sharper, but are "strange". a stop less of shadow detail, odd grain, pushes 1stop with little increase in development time,..

what is a "+2EV push", some un-used term for just pushing 2stops?
(that would be exposing EV-2)

Don't know those two, or any other Ilfords for that matter (lol poor student mode). But I read an alleged Ilford plant worker claim Deltas 100 and 400 are the same emulsion as PANs 100 and 400, except cut from "better" parts of the original sheet. Don't take this for sure though.

So it is. Must be a local thing then, as this is the only shorthand way of referring to push/pull processing by N stops I ever saw used at domestic newsgroups and foras. ISO 200 + 2EV = ISO 800, which is how I exposed both films.
