the composition on virtually every single one of these shots is incredibly boring, and without the fidding with the levels you did in photoshop nobody would bother looking at these for more than 10 seconds.

Yay street!

>>255355

Quite nice, you need some PP to fix the highlights in the background, far to distracting. Other than that, good shot

>>255356

Wasted opportunity. If you see someone with the cloths to make a good photo, follow them untill there in the perfect place.

If they see you following, smile, say hi, go over, explain what and why you was doing it, and now the chance for a candid has passed, give them your card, and walk away. (keep a good reputation with people on the street, and give the good name back to photography!)

>>255365

Good subject, but i dont like the pose, try harder to capture the right moment, predict there steps, other wise you catch people in the middle of strides and it looks strange and not pleasing to the eye..

All in all, quite nice

Best street shoot topic weve had for awhile,

On thing though.... Well done for using manual, but you got them all wrong... all over exposed. I know its nice to feel good about yourself doing it all manually, but aperture priority is your friend on street, no need to worry about shutter speed when going from one side of the street to the next, just what DoF your after
>> Anonymous
yeesh, this looks too much like typical flickr shit

Most of these shots aren't even worth commenting on.

I like a lot of your model stuff, but street photography doesn't seem to be your thing. Don't try to force it if it isn't coming naturally. You should spend your time improving what you're already good at instead.

i do think you often push your shopping a bit far at times, but aslong as you keep the original raw files or use non destructive editing if at a later stage you decide your sick of the look, you wont be stuck with it forever.

- stop using photoshop for 1 month (only to resize, no croping) and post results here.

He won't take you on, because Beethy's "style" relies entirely on trying to make boring photos interesting through Photoshop.

DC's similar, but not quite as bad. While he overdoes the PP too, his shots aren't quite as tacky.
>> NatureGuy !se3A3TwzdY
>>255355
too bad you cropped the head out...
unsalvageable but would've been good.

>>255361
Okay but in desperate need of a little sharpening. Also try reducing the contrast of the upper tones or bring them down a little. Hard too look at as is.

>>255362
Fantastic. Shop out that weird glass pane covering some of the squiggle and you're golden.

>>255363
Needs to be aligned better. As is, its imperfections make it garbage. This kind of photo relies on everything being just right.

>>255364
Crop to a square removing the top portion. Also if any of those highlights are retrievable via raw editor, get them back.

Everything else is meh to bad.
>> Anonymous
>>255946yeah I always keep the original files... because there are times when I look at my older stuff and hate the PP so I can reshoop it.

I'll do it. No cropping will force me to think composition through better rather than thinking "i can fix this in PP anyway"
This is intriguing.
Black and white is still okay though right? Like if I shoot straight b/w.
I won't do it for model shoots though.. since they expect the shots with PP.

I'll post the results when I've gone out with my camera again.

Manually fuck with the jets on your printer?

Every picture is manipulated. It's just a question of who is doing it and how: you, a lab, some dope at Rite Aid with some chemical process, you or the programmers at Canikonoytaxusonic, as directed by the marketing guys, with digital code, manipulated directly or through a piece of editing software.
