large buildings, skycraper photo holiday Anonymous
i wanna take pics of cool huge buildings, preferably newer ones

which city has the coolest skycrapes?
nyc is obviously alrite, but what about the new cities like shanghai and singapore? and others?

anyone been at those places? any tips about taking good pics of such things? availability to a observation deck at the top wouild of course be a bonus

London doesnt have much at the moment, theres Big Ben and the Gherkin, maybe some of the east ends financial towers...

I shall go takes photos of our cranes tommorow with (massive luck im tired) as its all liverpool has in the way of skyscrapers (that and the beetham towers).

Hopefully they go down better than the last time i did it.

Ah hittin the shops mainly, i meant to go to the tate too but i missed it. Theres a little arcade in Liverpool with loads of hippy and metaller gear in it, but i can never find it! Should of taken my camera. Those big roman style buildings are totally tits!

Quiggins got shut down a year ago (and has since been demolished). Grand central is its replacement which is next to Rapid (lolol largest shop front in europe).

Yeah there are some really nice buildings here, but i duno how to shoot em!

Cool ill try and find that next time, as for big buildings, i guess a wide angle lens in portrait for close up full building shots?

Maybe try makin a fisheye out of a door peephole fitting?
