HAHAHAHAH
That is GREAT!
how about some shrimp eyebrows?
shoot some film versions of this, digital does it no justice.

eyeshadow I'm guessing was the stylists idea? I think it kind of makes her somewhat retarded looking. I would love to see some of the other poses.

again, great concept!

Digital is better than 35mm film.

In b4 pointless Film vs. Digital flamewar.

film vs digital is such a stupid debate.

Film is being discontinued. period. No point in debating.

then shoot 120. but you're wrong, flip through any magazine and 90% of the top print ads(prada gucci dulce even nike) are film.

Not any more. They're shot on Leaf and CaptureOne with Mamiyas and Hasselblads.
Its still medium format with better quality. NO company likes to wait for film to be processed and the risk of the shots being off in exposure.

thats only because their are a good number of photographers still unwilling to make the switch.
once this next generation of photographers comes through and the old dudes/dudettes die out, shits over for film.

i love film though.
i kinda hate digital.

I have taken an intense and instant dislike for you.

I kind of agree, but seriously if the MUA took a different approach.

same here. to me it just dosent feel the same as when you have to be so deliberate in every step because there is no 'back button'. just somethin' about the difficulties make it more fun

She seems a little... dead. Is the point that these are dead fish, about to be served up, or are they supposed to still be "alive" to some degree? The positioning of her head and the way everything just sort of hangs makes me think drooping, sagging dead fish.

Of course, that could be the point, as you said seafood.

Also, puffer fish. Do it.

Who ever re-edited...That was Horrible. Seriously. Bad.
Just because an image has a low ratio does not mean it is flat. There is a full range of black and whites.

I did let the makeup artist do as she pleased but pulled her back a bit when she went to put on heavy eyelashes. I wanted her to look pale and high key to give it a fresh "just caught this morning" feel.

For some crazy reason, I get a huge kick out of those photo. I'm not going to join in the film/digital discussion, because everyone already knows what side i'm on there.

As for seafood, i'd go lobster. Lobster is always fun. Or Squid, though that might not be an option because you've already done an octopus

I am well aware of the photo shopping on this one. I have a better version on another computer.
