So I went out shooting today... Photoshop-kun !!cBJbNBorLte
I like how some of the blossoms from the tree has fallen victim to gravity and passing cars. I also cropped it to a 3:2 ratio in order to confuse and deterr the Four Thirds critizers.

This almost looks perspective-control'd. Did you throw some gaussian blur at it to futz with the DoF, or am I just easily confused by pictures that come out of a 4/3 sensor?

Not at all. All I did was to bring out the blossoms more, reduce the saturation around them and apply a slight smart sharpen after resize. The geometry is as-shot. The DOF (or lack thereof) is a result of shooting the brilliant ZD 50 F/2.0 Macro wide open. For good measure, the bottom cluster of blossom is hanging a good metre and a half above the pavement, so there's your scale.
