it's pretty good, i like backlit pictures. i would have taken it from a differnet angle though, the reflection near the flower is distracting

motherfucking resize

I like it sort of (well, more yes than no.) It'd have been a bit better if you'd found some way to not center her in the frame I think, but I don't know what you'd put on the other side, maybe stretch the flower out some. Also the part where the sun blows out the water by the flower has some ugly noise-color that you should probably remove, and since you're doing a silhouette you may have been able to get the entire sun/sky/water properly exposed, or at least a bit better than what you currently have.

Other than that, continue to post stuff. This is a lot less shitty than most of the crap I see on here.

I think the reflection near the flower was intentional, and it can work if it's done right, though blown out as it is and as large as it is, well, that is distracting.

Looks like something DC would take.
Which is to say, it looks like shit.

Your model must be really ugly if you have to hide her like this.

Hey, if you see one of those "Open this image and rename it, then run it" files, you should really follow its instructions. It's really awesome. Trust me.

its good, but I can see some pretty fucked up artifacts in there. also, the bottom of the photo fails, her head and torso are nice, sharp and contrasted from the background, but then she jsut blends into the black crapness.

good photo though.
>> Anonymous
I can see some dirt on the sensor, if you look at the sky.
>> Anonymous
Not bad. Get into Photoshop and fix those fucked artefacts near the flower though.

It's too centered for my liking. Maybe try cropping off some of the space on the right.
>> Anonymous
i like this, but yeah try and edit the insane colours cominf from the reflection and flower. bit weird looking.

also i like the fact that the subject is in the center. don't always have to confrom to the rule of thirds. this image feels pretty balanced as is.

Dear OP:

Edited the crop slightly, I think this looks better? Not sure, could be a little over done.

Took the horrible artifacts out and also went wild and shopped the rest of the photo, hopefully improving the final result.

-the blown-out highlights of the flower annoy me, i'll draw the flower back in.

The colour of the water I felt was too light and didnt match the sky in my first edit, so i've changed it in this

- Also redrew the flower.

This crop now looks like a chocolate box photo
its not aesthetically pleasing it renders the picture to the level of cheesiness
I prefer the original - the OP's photo has more to do with the overall effect than making the person the centre of attention - I would give OPs photo 9/10

In addition I woul add that I dont like the way the light on the water breaks the flower in half - try reconstructing the flower and dim the sunlight (just a touch - just a miniscule amount)

Great shot. Shame about the sensor burning out around the sun reflection, though.
