Didn't go skiing today cause I had to study my ass off for a Econometrics test. So my Mandatory Skiing thread will have to wait...
BUT I did take an hour or so break to take some pics (read, panoramics and it was sunny!)

Then another hour or two to edit them... Then I didn't really study that much...

Ducks were really close, dunno why they weren't afraid of me..
Taken with a 15mm Fisheye and Defished Then Stitched.

Oh ya, Camera body is a Converted (to IR) D70

I have a pretty much identical picture to this one in Visible Light. I find they make cool comparisons.
I'll post it if you like

Haha, Panoramics rock, I kind of specialize in them for a few reasons.

One they look awesome, and a lot more natural to the eye (Given these have some insane fields of view and you can see a bit of distorion) But they are easy to look at.

Two, They sell! People don't buy pics they think they can take themselves, and I can make up shit for hours about how hard it is to stitch together pictures, and that I have to get these custom printed from Eastern Canada (Lol Costco).

Hahahha. Yeah, I've lied about the difficulty of stitching a few times.

you mean "Stretched the truth"
I tell them it takes HOURS to stitch (True, I just don't clarify the computer Rendering and me having to edit each picture by hand"

I do get some prints (12x36" Panoramics) Done by Cameracanada when I want metallics.
Whats stretching the truth, The pic in front of them is most likely Printed at Costco. I keep all the metallics for myself cause they look fucking AWESOME.

Do you use one of those panoramic tripod heads or a simple tripod, or do you shoot handheld?

I thought you guys were getting to know me now! I never shoot with a tripod, If I do I'll post that I used it and why (Bracketing for HDR mostly)

Locally, mostly to businesses like Cafe's / restraunts, then they resell them or I have a contract and they get a percentage.
Pro-tip: Winery Prints sell for big Bucks, As do Ski Resorts.

Its a type of ink, makes everything Ultra Glossy. Looks totally awesome. (Reflections aren't even a big problem with them). I'll post a comparison pic later tonight (After my goddamn test)
