What was the mood like during this shooting? Something tells me she was fairly comfortable but you were a little uptight. You were afraid to experiment a little and giving her some direction. You're the photographer. It's more your job to tell her how to pose or what to do than hers. She doesn't have a clue what you want or how you want it to look. Photography's real easy when you're just snapping a photo, but the creativity is tough. I'm already coming up with a ton of ideas for this. You need to sit and actually think, "What can I do to make this interesting?" Have her kick off her shoes and walk around holding them, have her take off her jacket, and throw it over her shoulder, watch her play with her hair through the camera, tell her to sit somewhere while you grab another lens and then go hide and snap her with a telephoto, make her go running through the environment and snap away, find something for her to interact with, get her to lay down on her back but pose as if she's standing and shoot her from straight above, see if she knows how to do a handstand, make her tell a funny joke while you hold down the shutter, surprise her and snap a photo real fast, make her walk away from you and then call her name without her expecting it and snap her turning.
