I'm poor, but I bought a d80 instead of my old LULZ d40. Though I don't have enough to replace my lenses, so I'm still using 18-55 and 55-200 af-s lame ass kitlenses. Any suggestions on great lenses I can buy now? Was thinking about a 50mm f1,8 one. <3

ITT; sup?

I have all of these.

18-55 and 55-200 are fine lenses anyway. The 55-200 is sharp as hell at f/9.

The 50mm f/1.8 is worth it's weight in gold. At about $125, you can't afford to go without.

Stop chasing the dragon and use the hell out of what you have. You don't have to get a $1000 200mm f/2.8 to accomplish anything.

50 on the crop body will make it 75; which is an awkward length to get used to, I find.
Go for a 30mm. Sigma offer a few nice options here.
