that "less America" on the wall is OK

Hah, I noticed it after taking the shot. Supposed to say God Bless america. I thought it was interesting, considering it is in Chinatown.

Hey does anyone remember the Tom Green episode where he goes to Chinatown in Canada or America(I dont know) and he has these fish tied to his clothes and a Chinese police man comes up to him and fucking tells him to go out of Chink town and do it somewhere else!

This isnt fucking China you're in now dickwad! We dont live in a country controlled by dictators who dictate how much time we can spend online and about what what we want to say. Jesus christ, they come all the way over from chink country and into America and they think that Americans should stay on THEIR part of the country....People need to wake up...

Lol interesting...And no I haven't ever seen that movie. Did the picture remind you of it, or was the less America?
>> Anonymous
No it's not a movie, it's from The Tom Green Show. Tom goes into China town and has these fish tied to him and this police man who is Chinese comes up to him and TELLS him to go out of China town and go somewhere else.

What do you think about that? I think the Chinese think that they are in China and think they OWN the place? What do you think?

uh - you have a d300 and you're shooting with a f/3.5 zoom at 1,000 iso?
>> Op
>>235873
Sorry, am tired. You do have a point. I'll have to check out the episode . All he was doing was being Tom Green, and having fishes tied to him ? Kinda bullshit

I inherited everything except the camera. Unfortunately, that's as good as I can do with what I have. I bought the camera with knowledge that I'd grow out of some of the stuff, and move on. Know any good Prime's for street photography?
>> Anonymous
Well I telling you right now, that Tom wasn't doing anything too major and this prick comes up to him and tells to LEAVE China town. It's not the fact that Tom was doing something stupid, but the fact that the policeman(who was Chinese) THINKS that hes in China, has the ability to stand there and treat someone like they are actually in China...I see a hell of a lot wrong with that my friend.

Hah, good stuff. Yeah, I realize the lens I have for this is a hugely limiting factor. I've just been putting money towards other things unfortunately.

Here's another one. I don't know why, but it just kind of caught my eye.

I hate you liberal fucks who just let people who refuse to learn English and come from other countries and then tell US how WE should do things! Laugh it up all you fucking want, because a few years down the line theres gonna be little left of American culture of our own left to remember.

It's all gonna be Chinese "culture" and whatever else that comes into America. But what about OUR ways of doing things? >...and today i spilt some milk, i started to bawl my eyes out... Stop trying to make me out to be a "cry baby" when Im far from it, you MUST be Chinese if you are going so far so and try and paint a bad image of me.

50/1.8 = $115

are you using a tripod for these, or hand-holding at 1/10?

if you're using a tripod, why not shoot at a lower iso and use a longer shutter speed? that'll help you avoid the noise.

Uhh...Interesting ...Well I might as well post some more photos. A colorful Eatery. I liked the lines.

Handheld. Among the accessories I haven't had the money to get, a nice Manfrotto is another one. I enjoy shooting without a tripod though, just makes everything a bit easier, less of a hassle. I should try and get one, with a nice prime lens, to shoot at a lower ISO like you mentioned though. Where would I be able to find a deal like that on the 50, wherever I looked it was about 300$. I'm assuming you're talking about used?
>> Anonymous
>>235896

you can buy a tripod for $30 at best buy. quit jerking yourself off talking about manfrotto.

"a deal like that on the 50?"
you didn't even look on amazon? christ.

Haha, only reason I said Manfrotto is because of the build quality. I had one of the cheaper ones, and the head assembly just fell off when I was taking photos at an autocross event. Luckily my camera wasn't on there, otherwise I would have been out a good deal of money. Thanks for the Amazon link, believe it or not that was the last place that I would have looked. Hah, checked out pretty much all sites other than it.

You were probably looking at the 50 1.4, which is a fuckwin lens.

>>235901

no, i'm sure you didn't look at "all the other sites" - the price is the same at b&h and adorama.

I know that I was going on about the Chinese just now and Im not trying to be a smartass or anything but when I was in Taiwan, I tried that beer thats advertised there the Tsingtao, and I really liked it.

It just bothers me and alot of other people when I see Asian people going around thinking that they own the place they are living in, when if we did that, we would be put in jail! Can no one else see this hypocrisy?
>> Op
>>235902
Yeah, now that I think about it, I was. For the extra money, do you think it's worth it. It looks fucking godly.
