the people in these are really killing me.

love the IR one, but i want to see more of those nice, white trees. i can see why you're unhappy with them... definitely not your normal caliber of work. this is one of the few times when i prefer your normal shots to your panos.

I'd would like to start by stating that these are great.

>>247965
If you can, remove the lettering with the white around, it is very distracting.

>>247966
Crop some from the right so it will balance with the left.

>>247968
I really like a lot about this one, and dislike a lot about it too. Personally I would remove the people, the benches, the cement that benches are on (creating a nice even path), and remove the house on the other side of the lake.

>>247969
Again, remove the people.

>>247974
If you crop just far enough down to remove the sky, the image because much stronger. Naturally your eyes want to wander up to the sky instead of staying on the rest of the image as this one needs.

>>247976
Remove the people on the logs on the rights of the image, and the boats. The ones in orange are particularly distracting. I like the people on the rocks.

>>248004
Nice, but play with cropping the sides again, they're unbalanced as is.

Vincent do you have a website?
>> Vincent !!8LCSE0Zp1mL

Ya I know what you mean about the uneven sides, though I did leave it that way on purpose. Sometimes its tough to keep the 3:1 balance too, and I don't like stretching my pics.
thanks for the critical eye though, I see what you are getting at in all of them

Yes it is, People say its the most photographed place in the world, and I can believe it.
Everyone there had a camera, I saw about 5 D3's, a couple D700's, and many more 5D's and 40D's.
Also just as many Pentax and Olympus bodies aswell.

Find Lake Louise and Moraine lake in google earth, its hilarious how many pictures there are.

if you ever make it a bit east, check out boundary waters. great scenery, and very VERY secluded... it wan't out of the ordinary, to go through the whole day, and not see a single other person. on the american side (i don't know about entering from canada - it might be called something else), you have to take a written and oral test, to get in.

Ugh. Lake Louise is a wonderful place to visit, but a hellhole to live in. I spend a winter there a few years ago.

Truly beautiful place for photos though. I only ever saw it one day (and cursed myself for not having a camera on me), but I've seen the sky filled with sparkling crystals that would have made a perfect winter landscape.

Great job, Vincent.
