first shots with A new lens. Just picked up the Tamron 70-300mm f/4. I was pleasantly surprised on how it preformed especially for the price ($189 USD). Does anyone else have this lens, or speak highly of Tamron as well?

In before gearfags. I have the Sigma 70-300 f/4-5.6 DG and a EOS400d (rebel) and it's fine for amateur stuff.
