OK /p/, I'm not entirely sure if this is the proper board for this, but I figure it's the closest due to its relation with optics. Amateur astronomer here, looking to buy a telescope. I know shit about the subject, but a quick lookaround on Google tells me if my budget is below about $300 or so I'm screwed. Problem is that my budget is around $100, tops. Should I even bother, or is there something adequate in that price range?

know that pretty much anything to do with optics will cost you more than $100. way more.

pair of eye glasses?
2.8 telephoto lenses?
telescopes?
microscopes?

$100 isn't gonna buy you shit.
