I don't really get what you mean here, your post seems a bit contradictory. If you are using a crop sensor with the same pixel density as the full frame equivalent then all your get is an image crop. However if the pixel density is higher then you can view at the same DPI for enhanced magnification over a full frame. Im not saying its crop is better, just trying to get the reasons straight :D
As for viewfinder, shit yeah, and bigger pixels would be less subsceptable to camera shake as well, 'cause it would have to go furthur to move onto a bordering pixel.
