Nope. But I agree that kites can be very magical. I wish there were some more kite related pictures on this board, but I guess that's a bit too much to ask for.

As for these pictures, they seem to be attempts. But I don't think I can criticize too much. But kites against a bright blue canvas are always impressive to me.

OP - here's one from the 9th Thailand International Kite Festival -- we were flying twelve of the giant octopus kites together, and this was shot as an attempt to get away from the usual "picture of octopuses in sky." I don't know how it works if you are not familiar with the kites, but it works for me anyway...
