Sup /p/

I was doing the inferred mod to a OLD digital camera I have and I had just barely any of the "visible light filter" left on the end of a roll of film, the peice I managed to get to the right size had tiny micro-scratches on it.
Like the kind of scratches you get an all CD's after normal use but the CD is still fine.
Well anyway when I put the camera back together I had that piece of filter in it so do you think that the camera will show those tiny "mico-scratches"? The reason I haven't turned on the camera to check is the backlight broke and I have to solder the wires back on.

So should I bother fixing it or would those scratches show up? Cus I mean my glasses have all kinds of scratches I can see when I hold them in my hands but when I put them on they look perfect.

It's infrared. Inferred is a real word with a completely different meaning and was confused for a while. Try it out anyway, they should be so close to the sensor and so fine that they would only show up in really small apertures. You will suffer a hit in sharpness though. Also, you did remove the low pass filter, right?
