Yeah. Buy a new lens. Kit lens has crappy CA (trees in the background). Also, dragging your shutter works sometimes with flash+action shots, but you didn't drag it enough. You're in a weird area between stopping action and having tasteful motion blur.

Also on camera flash gives crappy shadows.

im saving for either the 17-55 is or the 10-22, but for now im stuck with 18-55 is

18-55 IS is a fine lens. Don't think a new lens is going to improve your photos. And if you get a fisheye, you may as well stick it up your ass, because you'll never take a decent photo with it.

10-22 is not a fisheye, sorry, there is very little distortion, and it is an extremely sharp lens

10-22 isn't a fisheye

My apologies, the 10-22 does not create distortion, but it's still fairly wide. I wouldn't recommend it for someone that's new to photography.

Probably a combination of movement and harsh lighting.

Motion blur, and it's been way oversharpened.

Ok, nm about the bad copy thing, definitely just the motion blur.

As for the picture, i'm not really sure what to look at in this photo. It's very busy and my eyes can't really tell what is in focus.
