Constructive criticism please.

I only changed the contrast after scanning, cause the scanner made them grey. I couldn't quiet get them to look the same.

The background was also a lot lighter on paper.

Eh, wished I kept it still enough to keep the dashboard smooth. But the driver was doing like 100mph.

pretty sweet, i like this one.

persons to underexposed.

i like this one, but i think it would have been made better by a smaller aperture so more of if not all of the chilis were in focus, but small enough to leave the background out of focus. if it really matters the background looks pretty bland to start with.

The train was moving when I took it. How could I represent that in a photo?

How would I get him more exposed?

I'm still learning how to work f-stops, so I'll go find that chile in my aunts house again to experiment.

Oh, and the car one was in my first roll ever :P

bigger f stop or neutral density filters so you could use a longer shutter speed, though i think this looks better than that would have.
remember smaller f stop means more light larger f stop means less light

>How would I get him more exposed?
basically it looks like you needed better light because the rest of the picture is pretty well exposed. maybe move to his other side because it looks like the sun was facing more that direction.

>I'm still learning how to work f-stops, so I'll go find that chile in my aunts house again to experiment.

smaller f stop will have less dof, larger f stop will render more dof

i get the car picture, ive done the same thing.

My monitor sucks on this comp, and it really makes B&W suck, so I won't critique them.

As far as the scanning goes, try scanning them in color, it will leave you with a little more room to get them looking right as you can adjust each channel.

This kid has a giant head. And a taste for human fingers. A dangerous combination!

(Could use a little more light on his eyes, I think, but I still find the photo interesting and compelling. And a bit creepy)

Sky's pretty white on my LCD, too. Not really in a good way. Kinda too much blank sky in the shot for my tastes.
