If you're gonna be shooting this close to something, you're gonna need to have a larger depth of field. Too much of this is out of focus to be really interesting, also, it's just another high speed shot of a water droplet.

at least play with some colors and try to catch the drop in the air bouncing up to make it even more recognisable from 1M other places. (but also better)

Well I didn't mean to petronize (he, I guess it comes naturally). Anyway I was trying to be constructive (arguably in a rude way). There was just a post here just like yours with someone using a drop of food coloring in a glass of water or something. And look at my pic - recognize it? We ALL tried our luck with pics like that, and yours is not especially good so what can I say? you asked for feedback.
so here is my 5cent of advice for these pics:
use a lot of light and shoot as fast as you can, take about 50 pics I would guess --> delete only 49 if you are lucky. I think I actually emptied a battery first time I played with drops.
