Dumb dumb question time. I have a cheap off camera flash. I was going to try it out on a tripod but the fitting does not fit on the camera tripod. I was looking around for a flash fitting to camera tripod adaptor but cannot find one and the flash tripods I have seen have a different mounting (Round screw on type)?

On second thoughts it has a threaded hole in the bottom? Might be more useful than the other type then. They seem to be reasonable on Ebay too so will get one of those instead if it has a mounting hole.

I have a mounting hole as well...
I've luckily never used it before...

This is what is confusing me. It looks like the small screw is further up in the body for this type of mount.

Thanks guys. The Adorama links seem to by the type I need anyhow. I'll get a proper stand and mount with umbrella at a later stage when I get a proper D-SLR.
