Where does /p/ develop their film? I'd like to try out a dark room but I don't have access to one.

Any suggestions on where to get it done? And how much it costs?

BW darkroom set up can be found for under 100$ on craigslist all the time.

If you really want to do color, find some local old badass who loves his work and don't use someone who ships it off. More than likely you'll pay a little more, but the quality of work you're getting will be worth it.

I print everything at home
fo the large scale if you do little of that, then send it out but anything say around 20" get yourself a nice printer it will save a lot in the long run (long, long run)

developing can be done fine in a kitchen sink, and you can just use a changing bag to get the film onto the reels of the tank.

printing is kind of hard to do without an actual room that is dark, but that doesnt stop you from scanning which works fine.

I got my equipment for exactly 100 dollars on craigslist. It hadn't been used since the early 70s, no joke. A bunch of unopened paper was labeled 1973.

What kind of quality do you get developing from some place like Walgreens?

Just in case OP was actually talking about only film, you don't need a darkroom for that. You just need a changing bag or a very very dark room just to load the film onto spirals. Once in the tank you can do the developing in daylight.
