Last time i posted, the other day, it was 3 strips of 35mm shot in a 5x4 camera. The fact that the image wasn't staggeringly thrilling and that i'd dicked around with film gimmicks ENRAGED a few people hahah, so here's a nice simple digital one instead, no awkward processing techniques or anything. Just had a pitch black studio set up, kept the shutter open for a bit, and painted the light in with a torch. This is from quite some time ago, by the way.

Oh, the theme was 'death', as you'd be able to figure out, and not that it matters.

Nice to see new things posted on /p/, but would be better if you posted the individual pictures themselves.

But yeah, that's pretty cool and I'm stealing this idea.

Not enough you mean. ACTUAL PHOTOS.

Interesting technique for photo illustrations, I'll have to remember it.

I think he means too many light painting threads. To which I'd agree, except those other threads were nothing like this one.

OP: dont take anything i said seriously, but anyone else <3

The image here looks faar to close to being TRUE HDR with its blown saturation. Its also clichie and horribly overdone.

Too many photo threads?

Fuck off.

too many light painting threads. both using a light to draw something or using a light to selectively light areas in the frame.

Yeah, and way too many threads about pictures taken using lenses and cameras.

Again, fuck off. This is triptych is awesome. Way better than the other light painting threads we've had of late, and the thread is about the specific picture not just "zomfg I figured out I could set the camera for a long shutter and then make drawrings with a flashlight!!!1!"
