wanted to try some star pictures from the top of the stands and this is what i found. so i sat in the grass for like like 30-40 minutes takin pictures of these trees and then decided to try a panoramic of the game.

what does /p/ think?

granted, it's way off balance (all the attention is on the left) but i'm dying to see more stadium.

imho, another take during the day when you can see all the details of the stadium structure (plus the lights would be off so the balance would return back towards the center) would greatly strengthen the composition.

yeah i was thinking around sun setish no matter how cliche the picture might be. i like the right side alot but it was to damn dark and by the time i started taking these my hands were the coldest i think they have ever been so i just packed my shit and left.

yeah, i know how that is. but the good thing is you can come back.

Actually, i was thinking a good mid-morning/mid-afternoon shot (depending on which direction the stadium benches are facing). imho, you're right about the sunset thing being too cliched. and i doubt it would do that much for your pic since it would throw some hard shadows (assuming the sun sets into the background and not behind your position).

if you have time, you might want to consider playing around with long exposures while they set up/play. from this distance, seeing ghosts of people/players might add to the composition.

yeah i was going for some movement, i was just ready to get on my longboard and then into my house.

im not to sure about where the sun rises and sets in relation to the stands il have to check that out. maybe at the next soccer game.
