Why would you use HDR here? what extra dynamic range did you need to capture that you couldn't have otherwise?

The water looks like mud, the lighting on the ground is uneven and unpredictable.
Overall, I dislike.

I spy someone who's never taken a picture of a stream in a forest.

I find it kinda boring compositionally. I keep wanting to look up out of the frame but can't. Try getting right down low and keeping the stream low in the frame.

The HDR is done well if you were going for the surrealistic effect. I do agree, though, the water looks unpleasant. Also, maybe if you had moved closer to the ground and looked upstream it would give a place for your eyes to go, rather than just trying to look at this messy shot.>>286228. That too

The water here is fantastic. It looks like some kind of molasses and it's unique. The rest of the photo doesn't say much, it doesn't make me want to be there, and it's not a scene I haven't seen before.

Overexposed bits here and there, particularly the sky and leaves. Use the shadow/highlight option under adjustments and bring out the greens/blues in the leaves/sky. Also, not a whole lot going on.
