>>145267 The "marginally decent response" was three and a half people. Several more claim to have done it or to be contemplating doing it, but... pics or it didn't happen. Most people are just going to give excuses, like "It's cold out" or "I don't have a car and walking more than fifteen feet will cause me to cramp up and die" or "My town is too photogenic for me to photograph it" or "I don't have a USB line (I'll show you later)".
Here, have a little math. I'm too lazy to make a Venn diagram for this, so you'll just have to imagine the circles in your head: 1. Take all of the people on /p/. 2. Subtract all of the trolls, jackasses, gearfags, newbies who come here asking what intro-level SLR they should get, etc, leaving you with the tiny, tiny, depressingly-tiny fraction who actually take a goddamn picture once in a while. 3. Subtract from that all of the people who don't use Flickr 4. Subtract from that the people who can't be arsed to deal with Flickr groups. 5. Subtract from that the set of people who'll actually follow through with such a plan instead of just acting all excited about it at first and then losing interest.
I suspect you'll be left with the empty set. You lose me at #4, for instance.
