Dear sirs/faggots,A friend's dad is turning 60. She wants to get him a vidcam. He's got a nice SLR and all those lenses already so he's probably someone who cares about the aesthetics of pictures. He wants a vidcam to capture the best moments of his grandson growing up, and possibly for other stuff.Granted, videos are not the same as pictures and it's impossible to get the same degree of customisation as pro cameras go, without paying a steep price. We'd hope to strike a good balance between satisfying a photographer's whims and budget. What would /p/ recommend?
