and of course I'd have liked something more like this =D

Man, I need to get an external flash I can bounce.

And hot girls to dance for me. I need that, too.

And I wouldn't mind a dorky fat guy with a huge afro to make me look cooler, while we're at it.

Just to follow you around making "ima eat you" faces?

Original picture is OK, but the crop is great. I'm not sure about it, but I have a small suspicion that it might work better in B&W, slightly heavy on the blue channel.

More from the night here:
http://photos.timchuma.com/Pony100607/index.html

Mostly just unsharp masked the best photos and it still took me five hours to go through them all. I once did 3296 in 32 hours in 2 16 stints at the keyboard.

That's actually a pretty neat effect. I likes.

Why thankyou.
The gray one above has the same effect, but apparently JPG doesn't save any extra channels next to RGB.. So I had to screenshot it to make it completely RGB again :[

Up until now I held it as axiomatic that the bar staff are the best-looking people in a restaurant over eighteen.

She'd look a lot better with some better camerawork. E.g., wideangle makes her look all distorted; she's giving a really fake, posed, take-the-damn-picture-already smile; a higher angle would have given her less of a double chin, etc.

Also, 2000x3008 size is ouchy.

photography discussion aside, it's good to hear someone else understand and use theword 'axiom'. it is hard to convince some people that such a thing even exists.

Yeah, photography can hide flaws, but they're still there.

Burned background out.
Channel Mixer (Black and White, then made it look as if it had been shot on infrared film)
Levels.

Different version.

Burned background, Channel Mixer (Black and White, moderate on red and green, heavy on blue), levels, burned the rear girl's shirt, dodged her face, arm, and belly, but not hip, burned the front girl's shirts, dodged her arms, burned out the guy in back a bit more.

Please disregard the low quality of the burn job on the rear girl's shirt. For some reason, I went ahead and dodged her face without checking the results, and couldn't get replicate the same quality level of dodging on her face.

Photography can also accentuate flaws, which I believe is the case with this photo. She'd look a lot better if she was moving around in 3d with those breasts a-jigglin'.

She was getting sick of me trying to take her photo, was the best I could get at the time.

Made it look like it was on infra-red film? Say what? You clearly don't know what infra-red film is. Infra-red isn't just 'more contrast' or something like that. It actually generates completely different data in all, most likely the girl on the left wouldn't even have freckles in IR.

Photoshop Elements has a setting called "Infrared Effect" that duplicates the effects of infrared film.

In Photoshop, one has to manually input the values, but it can be done by setting the channel mixer values manually.

Photoshop Elements does it to R = 40, G = 140, B = -80. I read something somewhere that suggests instead R = 100, G = 200, and B = -200, and then upping the contrast, but I haven't tried that.

>>55268
I'm trying to say, it's impossible to make something look like an authentic infra red film, because the human body look different in IR, it's not just a color adjustment.
>> Anonymous
>>55268trust>>55271

for a picture to be IR, it has to be taken in, IR. it has to do with different frequencies of light, not higher contrast of more grain.
