Hi /p/,

Sony DSLR-A200

or

Canon Digital Rebel XTi

?
>> ac !!VPzQAxYPAMA
Canonfags will say XTi.

Sonyfags will say A200.

Nikonfags will come in completely irrelevantly and say D80.

You will get no useful information from this thread.

(Also, I'm a Canonfag so... XTi.)

A200 = win.

Sony/KM fag here

A200

you can get really awesome Minolta glass for really cheap from Ebay or buy the new expensive glass from sony.

Not entirely sure, but i'm pretty sure the A200 is superior to the XTi

also with the a200

Zeiss lenses.

PROFIT.

Pentax K10D.

I think A200 is a pretty good guy, he is superior to XTi and doesn't afraid of anything.

By the way, op, I'd recommend only giving Anonymous one vote total since there's a 90% chance that these are all the same fucking person.

If I absolutely had to pick between those two and no others I'd go with the Canon.

I don't trust Sony's DSLR line, and just because a lens has the name "Zeiss" on it doesn't mean that it's any good. Despite their few mega-hits Zeiss has produced plenty of shitty lenses over the years.

no shit the lens is plastic, the MOUNT is metal.
>> Anonymous
>>166727

What the fuck are you talking about? They don't even make DSLRs with a plastic LENS MOUNT.

But most kit lenses have a plastic mount, including the Sony 18-70.
>> Anonymous
>>166730
I'd be surprised if Canon didn't. Their Rebel film cameras always used to have plastic mounts. They made several cheap lenses with plastic mounts too.

So either you're just a faggot troll or an ignorant fuck.

>Low-end Canon EOS film cameras built since the early 90s have used lens mounts made of polycarbonate plastic. (the EOS Rebel Ti/300V/Kiss 5 being the sole exception) All other EOS cameras, including all affordable EOS digital cameras to date, use lens mounts made of metal.

I lol'd

Sage for stupidity. So long as it doesn't get stressed, it wouldn't matter if the mount was made of balsa wood.

And if you're stressing your equipment, you're not buying a entry-level SLR with a slow consumer zoom.

I was the poster in>>166745. Not the samefag as the one I was loling at. I thought the book was funny. If you don't know who Chris Skase is then google it. Also get a sense of humour.

Also both my cameras are canons with metal lens mounts.
