I'd go with the K10D- it may be a bit more, but it has a few extra features that would be worth paying for.
The 18-55mm lens is good for a kit lens, but I outgrew mine pretty fast. It is, however, a good lens to figure out what sort of focal length you like.
The 50-200mm I have no experience with, but have heard mixed reviews. Look up the Sigma 70-300mm (similarly priced) and see what people have to say about that.
With a 50-200mm lens, you would usually be taking pictures of things in the "far away" category- a good example is wildlife photography. Long focal lengths are also more suited to portraiture, so you could give that a go as well.
