Hey /p/

This is my first time here, and I had a question. I'm thinking of picking up photography as a hobby. I've always kind of liked pictures, and figured that taking them for fun could be nice. The thing is, I have absolutely no idea what would be a 'good' camera for someone like me. I'm not looking for something that costs hundreds of dollars and is geared towards real photographers, I'm just kind of wondering what would be a good buy for someone like me (preferably under 200 dollars). Should I get a digital camera, or one that uses film? That kind of thing.

tl;dr = What is a 'good' camera for someone who's just getting interested in photography?

If you're interested in getting into photography, get a digital SLR camera.
