Not that they're amazing or anything, everyone expects more photos out of me for some reason.I prefer the ones i took in japan (also lol instant art and someone please PS those lights out)
>>164711This is good. I don't get the other two. As of now, I think they suck, but for some reason I get the feeling there's something I'm just not getting.
Oh also i think these are all taken with my "new" 1.5x TC, which is a 2 element job, no chip (no new exif etc) and is very blury wide open on my 50/1.7 (which is normally very sharp, even wide open)
The first two are horribly meh, not as poignant as I think you thought we'd think they'd be. The last is nice though.
Holy shit, Butterfly actually posting pictures.>>164709I like this one.The other two, meh.

>>164718ac, you have the worst eye I have ever seen in a human being. you always like the pictures everyone else knows aren't as good. wtf
>>164721Not *always*. There are a lot of threads where I mention that one particular one is my favorite and three or four other people chime in agreeing. Granted, that's balanced with the threads where I say I like something and then have to spend the rest of the day arguing with someone who assumes that I can't *possibly* actually like it and that I must just be saying it because I enjoy sucking tripfag dick. That can't be the case for this particular thread, though, since I hate Butterfly and hope she dies in a fire.
>>164719It's better with the lights, for what it's worth. Also, idiosyncratic taste is good. At the very least, grant ac he actually looks at the content and composition of photographs, which is more than can be said for most people.
>>164729i like it more without the lights personally but i only did it because she was apparently to lazy to do it herself..
>>164709I prefer that one to the first shot. The background is more interesting as the tags are more obvious as well as the writing. I get a sense of the large numbers of them more.
The area with the tags tree would have been the perfect place to use a fish-eye lens, seriously.
should of bought a nikon
holy shit, i just shot one of those, wishing tree things the other day, i forget there actual name.
holy shit, i just shot one of those, wishing tree things the other day, i forget there actual name...
>>164709I like the idea, but despite the shallow depth of field, somehow the background is still working against you. Also, the tones are super muddy. Why is everything that flat, boring gray?
ITT: Buttertrap shows he is a huge failure at life. Kill yourself.
>>164875You're one to talk, b'w-out-the-window picture man. Or "low contrast is good for b/w"Not trying to be mean, just saying...mellow out a bit, you're coming off as rabid and annoying lately.
>>164875Just because you're posting under an alias on a largely anonymous internet board doesn't excuse the level of asshattery you're displaying. Say something useful, dick.
>>164889EvenSteven accidentally posted his name/trip in the subject line instead of the name field. So this guy's actively trying to destroy the guy's reputation.I.e., the asshattery is its own goal.
>>164896Oh, guess he did then. Didn't notice that when I was looking at that thread earlier...No hard feelings towards the real tripfag except "delete thread stupid"
>>164900Yeah, I've been reporting 'em all. Which probably doesn't actually help anything, but it makes me feel better in a grade-school tattletale sort of way.
And based on the various disappearing posts, a Janitor has noticed. Hopefully said Janitor will get a mod in here to actually ban the asshole...
>>164910Now I feel like a dick, haha. Good to know, I guess. Poor dude.IDENTITY THEFT IS A REAL AND PRESENT DANGER
bump for photothread
>>164873Because liverpool is flat boring and grey.Im not sure about the removal of the lights either, but all i have is Picasa not PS so I didnt have anything to remove it with. Thanks for the comments.
>>165137So shoot flatness, boringness, and greyness.
>>165213I thought thats what i'd done.
Wow! Butterfly posted photos? How utterly unsurprising that they suck ass.To be fair, they're better than I thought they would be.The first two are an interesting subject but pretty poorly composed. The background is too cluttered and despite being OOF the background tags compete with the foreground tags. The third image is pretty solid composition-wise, but just not very interesting. I could see this being turned in for a college course project on "geometric shapes" or somesuch.
really boring
