hey /p/ i need your suggestions on a good, cheap, not function heavy hotshoe flash that will fit for my pentax k100d. suggestions?!?!
As your picture seems to make it clear you know, Pentax makes three. If a guide number of twenty is enough for you- I imagine it would be for almost everyone- the AF-200FG seems like it's small enough, for "Under $150."
Non-articulated flash with a GN of 20 isn't much of an upgrade for the built-in flash (which has a GN of 13 or so). I suggest you take a closer look at the AF-360 you posted, and at Nikon-compatible flashes Metz makes.
>>63380Oh, shoot, you're right. I thought the one I mentioned (>>63377) was articulated, but it's not.A search on Adorama reveals this, though:http://www.adorama.com/SU266DPO.html
>>63382>http://www.adorama.com/SU266DPO.htmlI call bullshit on the advertised GN. No fucking way it fires at GN 92 using 4 AA batteries. Plus at $46, it probably doesn't integrate much with the camera.
>>63385Shit, my bad. I didn't notice they measure GN in feet, not meters like Pentax does.
