What the hell am I doing? I can't see why this shouldn't work but I can't find a tutorial on how to do it. I want to "digitally develop" these negatives on the computer. I can get results that semi resemble a picture but it's definately not right. Halp /p/.

Photoshop textures. You layer them on top of your photo and then blend it whichever way looks right.
As for the colors.. that can be easily obtained with 'color balance' and 'curves'

There's a lot of textures you can use on dA, have a look around.

Overlay textures? Hmm... I'll see what I can figure out from messing around. I'm not sure what the texture overlay is to acheive though.

You're flatbed scanning a neg strip? That's what it looks like here. You need to get a real film scanner or a flatbed that supports transparencies and has a backlight jobber for them.

1. Scan negatives with proper backlight
2. Go to Photoshop -> Curves
3. Select "Color Negative" preset
4. Tweak the color curves
