Okay /p/. My camera started producing lines when I take pictures. Is there a way to fix this? Or should I just go and buy another camera? It's a P&S camera. Here's one of the pictures I just took to show /p/ an example of.

Either a Canon A series for cheap+good or an SLR for the money youre willing to spend

Unless you disable it or your image doesn't have associated EXIF data it will show up automatically. Neat!

What's your budget? If you want a P&S I think most people will suggest the Canon Powershot line. If you want a cheap DSLR you should probably look into the Pentax K100D Super or the Pentax K10D. Since new versions of both cameras just came out it should be fairly easy to find used/cheap versions of either one.

...No, I usually use my camera at night time... Unless it's sitting in my car while the heat is on kills it, then damn myself...

Hmm, yeah, I was looking at the Canon Powershot line. I also like the Canon G9 when I was playing at it in the camera shop, but I don't think I will be using it to it's full potential, and for that much money, it's kind of a turn off. I'll probably go for the Powershots. The A-series, I don't think that's pocketable for jeans... I'll try it at the store. Thanks /p/ for your inputs.

Same thing I told you last time.

The P5000/5100 will be cheaper than the G9 and deliver the same performance.

Hehe, yeah, I remember. It just doesn't have RAW, which I don't think I even need.

Wow, I haven't seen this before. Anyone here know what actually caused this? Just out of curiosity.
