>>45270 Cyclist's own risk. Honestly, I think traffic laws as a whole- for cars and other vehicles- are really unnecessary. If someone does do something that kills someone, charge them with manslaughter, if they damage property, charge them with vandalism, etc. No need to have another layer of laws in place for behaviors harming no one; the deterrent effect of prosecution for harm will prevent people from doing things that harm people.
