both my nikon FMs need repair. my olympus RC goes out of service cause it has too much veiling flare (scratched lens, bah). so for film, I'm left with my olympus XA.

I bought an XA2 with flash that were sold as dead: "les boutons ne repondent plus": nice job frenchie, I bought it for little monies. two pair of good batteries and the XA2 is working like a charm. got lucky with the flash, its the most powerful and quickset flash for the XA series available, the only one that takes 2 AAs

D200, 55mm f/3.5 micro-nikkor, popup flash and SB600 from above-left, slightly diffused.

also picked up interest for t-grain films again, I tried a roll of Delta100 and was quite happy with it (next to the horrible flaring in bright sunlight)

TMX, tmax 100, in amaloco AM50. taken with the XA, a wee bit of veiling flare visible in 12mpx scans, but crisp sharp otherwise. I shot some scenes with a good deal of contrast to see how it worked with the developer, because AM50 is a bit more contrasty than most developers to start

I got me two XA's.
One in Meters, one in Feet.
I love them both, and my A11.
