Oh, hi /p/

Here's another diptych for you. But before you ignore for gear threads, evaluate this composition please.

Does it work, or should I reframe. I can post the originals of both if necessary.

Quite like this, Although the only thing which lets it down abit imho is the dark area at the bottom left.

Both photos could be cropped slighty at the bottom to hide this abit? im not to sure. experiment! :D

Yeah, I think this might be a little healthier as well.

Wow, this photo confused me.

At first I was like, "Eh, is this two photos next to each other divided by a black line?" Then I thought, "wait, that kinda looks like a mirror" (red highlight) but then again, the projected image didn't match so I thought the other side was the mirror (green highlight) then I noticed her table was cut off on the same line as the black line so I looked up the word "diptych".

I feel like an idiot now.

you must have poor pattern recognition or comprehension skills.

OP one is the best.

>>179479
Well, the more you know...
>> OP
would it help if I switched the left and right frames?
>> Anonymous
i think it would help if the photos were the same size, you could probably crop the left to match the right. and also it would help if there was a just a lil bigger gap in between them

what the fuck is diptych

For some reason, this doesn't work for me.

I can't explain it, and it doesn't mean it's not good. Just doesn't work for me.

i still don't know what diptych is

is it putting 2 mediocre pictures in 1 to salvage something
>> Anonymous
>>180652
are so fucking lazy you can't look up some examples on flickr, or even attempt google?

faggot.
>> Anonymous
>>180652
No. It's presenting two pictures together. Nothing about quality is implied, nor is salvaging.

L2/basic visual art terms.

>>180662

putting 2 bad pictures together to make 1 bad one

okay, gotcha

Yes, that is a diptych. It's a shitty one, but it's a diptych.

And you're a troll and I'm feeding you like an idiot. Go to /pho/.
>> Anonymous
>>180671

uh, it's visual arts dude, it's subjective

i think it's a great piece, because it depicts the life cycle of the majestic sequoia tree from the roots to how it towers over life in the forest dude, what the hell

it's better than ice cream
>> Anonymous
>>180673
Yes, it's subjective. And my subjective sense is telling me the OP is pretty good and yours is a shitty piece put together for trolling.

And damn, I've already used my one facepalm graphic.

And you're still a troll and I'm still being an idiot.

Corrupting /p/ one image at a time.
Maybe one day, we'll be doing diptychs TOGETHER.
Talk about circle jerk.
