Most photographers go through a phase where they think pictures of their eyeballs are really awesome.

Thankfully, now that you've done this, you can move past that stage.

Even though it's kind of hackneyed, I think that if you made a series of similar images, it would be a lot better. Some sort of freaky matrix of eyes with varying shapes, more circular to almond to more linear, would be very cool. That's just me though, or you could put it into some sort of flipbook where the pupil stays in the same place but everything around it changes.

Go ahead, steal my ideas. I don't really "do" photography involving a lot of people.

thank god she/he took a pic of her/his eyeballs and not his/her balls

That was kind of cheap. You need to work more on your jokes, this isn't /b/.

Everything's gonna be boring to someone. There are a lot of people who really dig on macrophotography of flowers. There are probably some people who absolutely love closeups of the photographer's eyes. And I'm sure there are people who would look at a picture of Dali jumping while the photographer's assistants threw cats and water at each other and find it boring. And I'd *love* to see that guy's photos. They're either the awesomest photos ever, or the lamest.

I think that there's the theoretical possibility for there to be a photographer good enough to make anything interesting. As in, one photographer who could make boring flower photos interesting, one who could make boring eye photos interesting, etc, probably not one good enough to take *any* boring subject and make it interesting.

A lot of things, like flowers, are boring because there are so many good pictures out there that you have to do something absolutely amazing or you just pass over it. They require something above and beyond to actually garner interest.

True.

I'd recommend chucking a cat at the flowers, while an assistant chucks water at the cat.

Man, I love "Dali Atomicus"

Hey, like I said, everyone does it.

You've got to expect some abuse anywhere on 4chan. It's just how we are. You've gotta roll with it.

Just sift through the abuse and look for the feedback, at least you know on 4chan people aint going to say you're pictures nice when its not just because there nice people.

Best place on the internets to find out if ur pics good or not i rekon this is.

I understand that you just wanna have fun, but if you post sum pictures there will always be critics. Instead of taking it emotional, I say try and listen to their advice, it can be very helpful

Poor cats. Although I did lol.

Was the chair edited in, or did they throw a chair, too?

He had several assistants. As I recall, his wife was in charge of holding up the chair out of the frame.

The most interesting thing to me is that this needed a *lot* of takes to get right. 28 chucks. Those must have been *damn* patient cats.

I like the amount you can zoom in and still have a detailed shot of your eye. maybe try it on other things like insects, flowers or on other little objects.
