Hmm, I'd expect more vivid colors of Velvia.

your expecting those way over-saturated post-processed type?
>> Teus !QbSstcPD6U
100F isn't that good imo, it's more like Provia. It does forgive more for portraits, as you can see on the right frame. get the old 50 or the latest 100

your mostly right, but its just what i had. 100F is still better than a lot of other films out there.
I could saturate the colours more, but that means i'll have to post-process the image, this is how the scan came out as.

Velvia doesn't really need a lot of added saturation in PP. pure nature could use some more of it while I'd desaturate the yellow-orange-red channels a bit to get nicer skin tones

I like the Pepsi photo btw. still got some velvia in a RF around here, but my travels are over and I kind of lost interest in it.

heh, i took the first pic, they are a milk yogurt drink, really nice. My gf took the pic of me (i love half frames). The Demi is a wonderful and easy little camera to use and 100F is a forgiving film.

I know that the 100F is supposed to be less saturated and contrasty than the original Velvia, but the colors here don't look any different from a regular reversal film. Aww, and I just bought a roll of 100F to try it out...

Half frames are fun. I just finished burning through a roll of Neopan 100 in my half frame. Hopefully I'll get a chance to develop that tonight.

Hey how did you go around getting this scanned? I've paid to get slides scanned, which was real exprensiave and i've tried using my flatbed scanner with film attachment which didn't turn out too great. Is there any other option? Great shot btw,

Cheers.

Velvia 100 is IMO better than 100F, but 50 still beats all of em. I can get the same effect from velvia 100 I get from provia 100

I just bought a couple rolls of the new Velvia 50 (and some Fuji prepaid development mailers so I don't have to get it developed at the shitty local place). Looking forward to shooting that.
