>>162134 Functionally, they're almost identical. It's the UI and workflow that are different. I'd say if you like Aperture's operation, stick with it. I started off using Aperture, and switched to Lightroom for speed reasons (I was using a shitbox laptop at the time and needed every bit of help I could get), and I've just learned to edit faster with Lightroom, so I've stuck with it.
Don't sweat switching though, Aperture's awesome in its own right.
