Maaan. From the thumbnail, it looked like this was a snowboarder in a penguin suit.

Suggestion: Put your snowboarder in a penguin suit. INSTANT AWESOME.

DO AS THIS MAN SAYS

also dont crop so hard, its hard to relate what the border is doing if you cant see how high/far/fast he is going.

Use fast shutters, pan your camera and use a flash if you have one.

I think the crop is fine, just get a better angle so its less, Bushes, and more Rider (specifically the rider's face)

snow! "overexpose" or it looks gray!
This can be as much as two stops, depending on your meter!
Penguin suits go!

They do that kind of stuff here. I will hopefully have pictures of that by the weekend. Lots of people riding in ridiculous costumes.

It's not cropped at all. He drops a 3m ledge on there, as i said, limited by lenses, also by weather, i was not comfortable with that pile of snow on my camera.
Also, the camera WILL get snowed on / wet. What can i do to prevent subsequent damage? I kept it in the bag / tupperware container, when i came home i wrapped it tightly in a cotton linen and put it in the coolest place i could find inside, after a while i brought it to a warmer place.

Keep in mind if the boarder is goofy or natural. Shooting someone from the right side is better than a shot of their bum.

And you need to shoot at a faster speed. At least 1/1000s. Trust me on that.
