...

I'm asking for legitimate advice here.. you dont' have to be an asshole... if I wanted immature responses I'd be in /b.

Anyone else who isn't a pompous dick have any comments?

The XSi is smaller.
The 40D is better otherwise.
Go to a store, fondle them (and any other cameras), shoot a few frames, get a feel for them, buy the one that feels best.
Make sure this store is not BestBuy but a real camera store.
Wolf Camera is not a real camera store.
/thread.

The 40D is a better camera for sure. The extra 2MP aren't going to mean anything in practice.

... Kansasfag?
Did you mean Wolfe's or Wolf's Camera?

Wolf/Ritz Camera is a nationwide chain of stores.

Wolf: Camera Stores as Starbucks: Coffeeshops. Their stores stock more tacky 4x6 frames than they do cameras, seriously. Oldest camera I've ever seen in one is an F5. Never seen a rangefinder or any non-135 gear.

Wolfe's is a hole in the wall camera shop in Topeka... thought maybe you knew something I didn't :)
