If I can find interesting things to take pictures of in Buffalo in the dead of winter, you can find things to take pictures of in the middle of bumble fuck.

One of the biggest "problems" that new photogs encounter is "what do I take pictures of?".

You simply have to look at everyday things and try to see them in a more interesting way and commit that to your images.

It takes a lot of practice and used to burn up a lot of film. With the new digital cameras, you can take pics to your hearts delight and erase them.

Read "Joy of Photography" and take many pictures of the everyday things around you. After about a hundred or so, you'll get some sort of idea.

Practice the rule of thirds and etc.

The art of photography is to take pictures of everyday things from your perspective.

Now take some pictures and don't post them until you've taken a couple of hundred and find the one that you really like.

It's all about you and your ability to present yourself. Look within...

JUST KIDDING!

With your new kit lens, why don't you try actually talking to people with your camera. Conversation is the best way to get candid shots of people or farm animals.

Even if you are in Podunkville, OH, at least take the mandatory star streaks over farmhouses pics.

I am anxiously waiting for your next composition.

Now that's just silly, isn't it Mr. lens? Mr. lens? That's funny, Mr. lens usually talks a mile a minute, but he's not talking right now.

That's so the lens can't "kiss and tell".
