Hi /p/. Whaddya think of this??

Camera was bagged up when I saw the opportunity so I took it on my mobile and expected it to disappoint. I'm happy with how it came out but wanted some opinions from people who know more about photography than me, both on the shot and on the use of a tiny camera phone...

Don't really see what opportunity would have been missed. It's a boring snapshot. 3/10

All i see are 3 boring ass people on a beach?

Get the fuck out

Should've told them to freeze and unbagged your camera.

Backdrop is nice, horizon is angled. Could have been a better photo with a wider lens. Not bad for a phone camera tho

Oh hi, I cropped and processed your photo.

(The image quality is fine, by the way. Don't worry so much about that. Early 35mm emulsions were crappy, but people got good shots with those. Same sort of thing.)

Wider lens? Why?

Also, I'm not on a calibrated monitor ATM, so if it looks too light/dark/contrasty/not contrasty enough, that's why.

Wider lens so it would be more of a landscape shot with people in it, rather than a people shot with a nice background.

That would be a plus why? It's not really an exceptional landscape; at least there's some action and geometry in the human poses which is more visible with a narrower field of view.

People shot was what I was going for. Landscapes aren't my thing.
