I just bought a Nikon D300. The pressures of working in a camera store and having it right in front of me every day took its toll.

Is this awesome [Y,N]?

Awesome. I have that lens and it's really nice and sharp, sharper than my nikkor 50/1.8D imo. Kinda slow auto-focus though. Great for portraits too.
