Sup /p/. It's possible you all have heard of this but I thought I'd share it here since it's related to photography: http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1762315You can try out Photosynth at their website: http://labs.live.com/photosynth/I highly recommend clicking on the "collections" link on the left and trying out Photosynth with their collection from the Canadian rockies. Some really beautiful scenery, although the zooms aren't as good as in some of their other collections. It's also easier to test the 3d functionality of it with some of the buildings like the palace in Korea. That Seadragon technology works very well apparently, because even on my shoddy dinosaur of a computer the whole thing ran beautifully. I can't wait until it's released to the public, as clicking through photographs in Photosynth was smooth and easy as compared to the irritating and cumbersome clicking through of slow loading folders to find an image with current systems.Anyone else excited about this? Imagine browsing through all the images on 4chan with Seadragon! Actually that might be kind of traumatizing if you accidentally clicked on /d/ or something...
Yes, we saw it, like a years ago. No, we aren't excited.
