Bad use of flash, makes the foreground washed out and lifeless, and you've overexposed the background in the slow-sync. It could be a decent shot if the bench wasn't there.
>>173990
Crooked and badly exposed. When it's too dark to take a sharp hand-held shot, that doesn't mean turn the flash on. It means get a tripod out and use a longer exposure. A tripod will also help you to have a level picture.

fix'd

figured the camera was way too bad for "wallpaper quality"

in the first picture, the bench was the whole point, and it is a REALLY crappy camera, but i made do with what i had.

thank you though

>the bench was the whole point
Point of what? I don't see a reason for the bench being there, other than it's bolted to the ground.
>and it is a REALLY crappy camera
Don't blame your equipment. The most glaring problem, the overexposure and improper use of flash, are very strictly user error.
>but i made do with what i had.
*due, and clearly not.

I didn't mention those as serious problems. Do you have the ability to listen? Because you're never going to get anywhere without it, especially nowhere in any field of art.

Ahaha you'll never achieve anything in any discipline of the arts with that attitude and mindset.
>> ac !!VPzQAxYPAMA
Yeah, problem with these shots has nothing to do with equipment used.
>> Anonymous
Honestly, the whole pic is just plain uninteresting. Nothing catches the eye or holds your attention. And if you're going for composition, bad news there, too. Whatever it was you were going for, try a new perspective. And read up on some photography books. Let me suggest Photocommunication. It's old yes, but it teaches well. ISBN: 0-02-326350-4 cheap as fuck, too. If you can get any in the first place.

I haven't seen someone this childish and unable to accept criticism in years and years. Since I was in grade school, actually. You've done no art, especially not photography. Just get lost and cry into your pillow.

you suxx0rz, badx0rz.

I think the OP is well-composed, but it's still not a good picture.

i meant the picture quality. however i will say this; what he lacks in looks he makes up for with incredibly soft fur.

i scaled it down, sorry.

This is a picture of your cat, and not a particularly exciting one. Also, it is blurry, though whether that's from being too close to effectively focus or because cats and people both move, I'm not sure.
>> Martin !!ve2Q1ETWmJH
>>174164
I think this photo is abit boring tbh, its been done far to many times.
Its perfect if you want to show your cat off to friends.

Could be improved by maybe placing your cat in unatural environments, and using a abnormal camera angle. That'd be more interesting to see.

For example, um:
Black & White
In the Bath
Photo taken looking up at cat, from foot-level.

That'd be interesting!
