in terms of just general amateur (very amateur) photography, does anyone use the Gorillapods and if so do you like them? I'm considering buying one cause I cannot take a picture without shaking to save my own life.
The camera I'll be using (and am using) is a Sony Cybershot DSC-W55. I got it for Christmas after having no camera so really its better than nothing. Mostly it'll be general use. Like I said I just cannot take photos without shaking so I figure a tripod of any kind will be useful. Plus the aspect of being able to wrap it to trees and poles and things like that seem fun and probably useful.
>>173818Yeah, sounds like a good alternative then.
>>173819So as long as I don't expect a really professional product (as that would be odd with a simple point-and-shot) I probably wont be disappointed?
>>173821shoot*** sorry.
>>173818From the sonys I've used W70, W55, I find it rather hard to create a blurry picture since it pumps the ISO up whenever there is less light. Unlike my powershot A520, which never seems to have a faster shutter speed than 1/30.
