Okay... Weird ass internet.
ANYWAY-- I took this at a park the other day while hanging out with a couple of friends. I was taking pictures of a goose that was swimming up to me when this guy came around the corner.
C&C/What could I do to it?
In b4 boring bird picture.

it's so dark, and really bad glare/contrast

Yeah. I think my metering thing was changed when I stuffed my camera into my bag. All of my pictures were either under/overexposed that day. Kinda ticked me off.
I'm still a beginner, so is there any way to fix that with Photoshop?

Exif says 0ev, so it wasn't that. It does say spot metering, and with bright white feathers, that's probably what caused it.

That's what I thought. I usually keep it on Auto, and I noticed when I got home that it was on center.

I am amazed at your post processing here. It has made that goose into a swan! Astonishing. You are a master of Photoshop.

washed out colors, bad lighting that looks like ugly flash use

...wut?

Anyway, I found out why it looks so fucking shitty. When I saved the .tif as a jpeg it completely killed the colors.

Any tips for a photoshop noob?

Okay yeah I must be fucking dumb. The JPEG looks perfectly fine in my folders, but when I uploaded it, it turned into this washed out piece of shit. Any ideas?
