Most of them looked like they were slapped together in three minutes using a size six-hundred airbrush eraser in photoshop. Fucking huge halo effect on almost all of them.

I thought a few of those were pretty awesome, myself.
>> Anonymous
I thought some of them looked pretty nice. They looked processed, but not even as bad as some of /p/'s pictures. Of course, I didn't look at the full pictures, only the thumbnails from the link, so that might affect things.
>> Anonymous
yeah three or four were alright, the rest is typical overfucked hdr shit

HDR is the new b&w. It just makes everything look artsier.
>> Project !dashI8UpO.
There is such thing as good HDR, such a handful of those. It's just too easy to fuck it up by pushing the sliders all the way. It's like a phase some people go through. First time I did HDR, I was like OMFG AWESOME but eventually, it grew old for me.

wow haha my comment got deleted. it was right after lindas, who is my favourite poster on that haha.

No, this is epic quote:

This is the acid test: was a human really required to produce these images, or could they have been produced by a computer program? Art is not art if the human behind the work cannot be detected, or could have been eliminated. Human art reveals the uniqueness of the artist and the way they perceive their subject. True art is a singular, unforgettable act of creation which no computer can possibly produce or emulate.

>"The thing to keep in mind about HDR is often the images do not look the same in small size as they do resolved up at full size. The micro-contrasts at small size seem un-natural, because it is an effect we are used to seeing on a larger world (our brain micro-contrasts all the time)."

Are you trying to say that HDR images don't look drastically different in thumbnail size? It must be tough to do photography blind.

w...wat?

If you're trying to say that a technique makes a picture bad then you're a megafaggot. Because that's what it sounds like you're saying.

Too bad you got called out on your faggotry. Stop trying to change the subject.
