I like this one.

The first one was converted to B&W poorly, and I don't like how angry your subject seems.
The third is boring.

Yeah am still getting to grips with B&W conversion...

any tips on that?

my current thing is to sort out white balance ect, boost the eposure a bit, then lower the brightness to match it, then bump the black point upto about 17 depending on the image, then monochrome it...... how wrong is this?
>> soul !lK4GD5SleY
don't like any of these, nothing interesting.

tips on B&W conversion?
get a classic B&W film

HURR DURR or use the film grain filter, pump the contrast a little bit, and convert it to grayscale.

It's cheap and gay, but it works.

PROTIP: using low apertures and long lenses in street photography looks like paparazzi work

street photography is as much about the surroundings as it is about the people.. lose the borkeh, faggot

Pro-tip: Your definition of street photography might not be anyone else's.

Blown highlights and shadows != film look.

it was cartier-bresson's, so it's probably the definition of the majority of street photographers
>> soulr !lK4GD5SleY
Street photography sure is an overused term these days, guess why HCB decided to quit photography in his later days? And quite frankly just by having this huge legion of fans masturbating furiously over this "street photography rulebook" while taking snapshots with their digicams makes me not want to take any photos on the street either.

LMAO!

This thread is such classic /p/ material.

1.) Some guy comes on and posts photos asking for advice.
2.) He's immediately told that SHITSUX.
3.) Somebody tries to give advice.
4.) People shit all over the advice given.
5.) Thread devolves into talking about why INSERT POPULAR STYLE sucks shit.
6.) Nobody learns anything.

FUCKING AWESOME GUYS!!!!!
KEEP IT UP!!!!!!!
