Hey /p/

Shot this photo when I was bored during a company trip. Criticism very welcome!

nice, but the hut/shed is too off center (to the right) leaving the left a bit repeated and boaring.

I'd say it's actually just about right. The repetition of the lights on the left fill the negative space just to the point where it's not eye-catching, and lead the eye straight to the boathouse.

I'd say this is a very good photo, overall. The ONLY thing I would've tried, had it been possible, was changing the location of the camera to a place where the moon wasn't directly over the boathouse, but it's not a problem as it is.

Very nice exposure, as well. It really conveys the "feel" of the moment.

great shot man/woman
dont listen to them... that shot is a perfect example of your style. and there is no correction that can make it more of your style than it already is... the shed is great where it is

Agreed great shot. If I had to make a criticism I would have waited a little longer for the moon to rise a little higher in the sky.

I really like the reflection of the hut + moon on the water, how long was the exposure?

I agree that I'd prefer the building to take up a little bit more of the frame. But I also agree that this is a great shot.

Is this HDR? Does look a bit like it.

Nice shot indeed. I agree with waiting for the moon to get a bit higher though. Nice.

so, OP ... HDR? exposure times? cough em up.

excellent shot, the silky black water contrasts with the coloured huts very well.

nice shot... what do you do to get this effect?

If you're still around OP...

For once, do you have this in a high resolution? It'd actually make a pretty kickass wallpaper, especially because the "empty" side is where icons would be...
