Hello /p/.
I am trying to create a picture of "photography", in which I show photography while taking a picture of three old old old cameras, ~ 1920s-1960s.
I am debating with myself over which of these two photographs I should display, and also I am debating on whether I should shoop it to black & white.
Could /p/ lend a hand/advice?
If black and white, which filter would you advise?
Thanks in advance, and pic somewhat related.
Here are the two I'm deciding from:
First: http://i35.tinypic.com/wqy5ab.jpg
Second: http://i36.tinypic.com/28ujwia.jpg
They basically look the same but I like the angle of the camera on one and I like the color and light scheme of the other.
Also, would you recommend any way to make it look like it's an old photograph? Like some sort of frame or something I can do with Photoshop, I'm a bit of a newfag.

It may just be me but the line that the wall/floor joint makes bugs me in both photos

It bugs me too, it's a white paper I was using as a ghetto backdrop.
Any ideas on Black & White and/or frame though?

Thats a particularily careless and unappealing arrangement of cameras. Good day to you Sir.

how exactly does a picture of cameras "show" photography?

I think its just a flawed concept from the start. Vintage cameras dont make me think of photography, they make me think of fun at a thrift store. A picture of a picture being composed or even an interesting picture of a photographer would work much better imo.

I'm not here to argue or see how much people like or dislike my photography, I'm asking which picture you like more and whether or not I should put them in black and white and with which filter.
