First one would look better without the sun, it kind of overpowers the image.

Second one is alright.
>> Anonymous
The first one's okay, although I agree with above that the photo could do without the sun, since the sun had to be there it was positioned well.
Second, meh. I like the bird, I guess, haha. Little too much motion blur.
>> Anonymous
I actually like photos taken against the sun. I even like lensflare.

I like this, but like the others said, the sun is a distraction. My eyes are drawn to it, and I don't think the sun was your subject.

>>258546

I think the boy in the background was your subject, but for some reason I'm drawn to the bird. I don't know why, though, it's clearly not in focus. Whatever. I do think this shot would be better if the horizon was level.
>> Anonymous
I prefer the first one, I don't like the composition on the second.

These are mine, posted sans tripcode.

So the sun is too much then? gotcha. I included it in the scene because I thought the contrast of it and the silhouettes was appealing, apparently not though. Either way, short of repositioning and losing the silhouettes there was really no way around it.

As for the second, whoever mentioned the crooked horizon, thanks, I missed that. I slipped in the sand while I was taking that and I guess I forgot to correct it. Going back to fix that now. But yeah, the bird is supposed to be noticeable, the bird and the boy both are subjects, just like the multiple people in the first.

Sorry about the blurriness of these shots too. My speeds were definately not fast enough to completely freeze movement, but Im not exactly known for extremely great focus anyway.

Eh, one other one I forgot to post earlier. My favorite, composition-wise I think, definately the worst as far as technical anything goes.

God damn it, I fail so hard, forgot it again. If you can figure out who, then great, if not, then whatevs.

i disagree about the sun in the first pic. i really like that one. the sun adds to the atmosphere telling its actually a really sunny/warm day, while the overall style is actually slightly depressing.
i think it's great.

don't like the other two... blur, focus...

DC, is that you? You're so awesome. I hope you have a gallery of your own in 10 years.

Meh to the core.

>>258546
Genuinely great.

>>258641
Good scene, but it just doesn't come together. Not enough space on the left-hand side. Throw this an the OP out and let the masterpiece stand on its own without the dead weight.

EXIF doesn't fit, and there's some formal and stylistic things about these that aren't at all DC.
