Are they all this boring?
>> Anonymous
the seat looks like it's another fat brown appendage. Massive fail for a fashion shot.
>> Anonymous
It looks washed out.
>> ac
I like it, and not just because there's a scantily clad woman in the shot.

How did you light this? Flash?

the tension between the car seat and the side of her body is a little distracting.

but the lighting is good. the pseudo-direct flash style is def in right now.

composition is simple and somewhat too plain, especially in contrast to the 'junky' look you might've been going for (the boxes of stuff, old van, etc). but i'm bias to the rule of 3rds and an off-centered look, so i would've gone for that.

i like the girl. her position and expression is hot. her clothes/styling works well. the colors are a good choice and go well together.

some of the shit in the van is a little distracting as well, but it works.

i'd also recommend 'shopping out the forking wire(s) connecting the power line to the right of her head. and whatever that is the the upper-right corner could be easily removed.

all in all, i'd give it an 8. it'd work well as an advertisement/portrait/whatever, just not a photo/art mag.

I <3 Jael.

This is a terrible picture of her face. Look at her eyes.

i really would get rid of that wire(s) by her head. it's needlessly distracting, really takes away from the image, and it'd take about 5 seconds to fix.

i didn't notice them right away, but once i did it's all i can see.
>> pskaught
>>48846
painting them out as we speak.
>> Lonjamática !EVNOu/Pjsg
Dude, I don't see why anyone cares so much about the wire. Personally I think it adds to the whole "i'm so fucking indie" aesthetic". The seat is making the shot really unsuccessful. Just need to pick one that was at a different angle in my opinion, which shouldn't be hard if there were in fact 900.
>> mrdevon
the wire isn't really that big of a deal. it's just that it's easy to fix, just a few strokes of the heal tool in PS. just one of those little details that separates an A-grade print from B-grade.

the chair, on the other hand, wouldn't be so easy to remove.

though on second look, the chair actually kind of adds to the image. it merges into the curve following up her right side and smoothes it out that line/form. and it balences with the shrubs/trees on her left.
>> pskaught
>>48859
I like the chair actually, the light hits it really well and the color is great, its just more depth and detail.
>> DookieSoupPoopedMyPants
Isn't this Jael from America's Next Top Model?
