This weekend I am going out to a camp for my youth group and taking pictures with the leaders camera. I did this before during a mission trip and they turned out okay.

I'm used to the canon interface and not quite used to the Nikon D40 (what I will be using there).

My question is if there are any sites or advice to be able to use the D40 to its full potential. Most of these pictures will be out by the lake or lightly wooded areas if it helps.

Thanks in advance

Set it to raw and M and everything will work the same.

If you need help learning the control layout, RTFM.

Good luck with your pictures.

Well....they are middle schoolers....I could deliver some after if it would make /p/ happy.

and @>>235205I said I like Canon's more but I have yet to have the money to buy a DSLR, just a regular 35mm SLR so I have to deal with what I got.
