no, actually it was growing on the inside of a a bottle that used to be full of organic root beer, it had been sitting on my desk for maybe 3 weeks and I noticed a little black blotch at the bottom, so I wrapped a towel around the bottle, cracked it open and noticed these little bastards were at the bottom.
