Hey there /p/
About 4 years ago back in highschool I did a photography class and I've been thinking recently about picking up an old analog SLR and reliving the fun times of shooting with an old-school camera for the lulz. Can anyone recommend somewhere to source an old SLR? Obviously it's not for professional use so I don't want to go over-the-top on the money side of things, just the camera and a basic lens.

eBay, craigslist, flea markets, thrift stores. They're all over the place.

I got a "new" (still in the box) Nikon f80 for 100.00. Coupled with a 28-70 ed lens (not dx) for 80.00. Compared to what they would have cost prior to digital, I think I got a cool deal.

eBay/craigslist/etc are all good places.
Make sure the model you pick has a builtin lightmeter (nearly all of them do)

Also camerapedia.org ftw.

Also, make sure said meter still works/has a good battery in it.
