I need a good Tripod for my digital camera. Something small enough to carry around in a backpack or a plastic bag but not shit enough that it will break to peices by the end of the month.

Any recomendations?

i tried to fold up my gorilla pod and snapped the top bulb out of its socket... it went back in just fine but now its too loose to support the camera. they said they'd fix it if i just send it back but i havnt gotten around to it yet...

Are you trying to set up longer exposure shots? I've got a boden that works great for me, i'll find the model when I get hoem if you'd like, but if you are simply looking for a steady hand.. check and see if you are moving up and down, or side to side. I've actually taken to using a Monopod instead of a tripod, because it isn't as heavy, can double as a walking stick and still takes care of the movement issues.

I've got this one for my little things (granted, i never mind gettin right down on my stomach to take a shot)

If you get a ball head for the top to adjust(hence my brand name mis-spelling earlier is Bogen not boden), this one works too.

I mainly carry around a heavier one, but if you're looking to travel right, one of these may work.
