the sky is way too fucked up and distracting.

Lighting/exposure on the house is Godly Win.

Sky looks like total shit.

Why is the sky bad? That's not a paste job. I simply masked the sky and increased its saturation.
>> Anonymous
>>171263
and that would be exactly why. you turned the saturation too far past FUCK YEAH.
>> Anonymous
Not bad. Sky may be a liiitttllee bit oversaturated but it's not too bad.

To the OP: That's actually a very good photograph. If you were shooting for a Real Estate Agent or for publication, that's quite an attractive picture in every respect. The exposure is particularly good. I don't have a problem with the sky.

Cheers.

Looks remarkably like Ken Rockwells dwelling

That's exactly where I want to head. Do you have any clues about how to start working as a photography for real estate developers or agents?

1: Take pictures of other houses. Make them look good.
2: Call a bunch of different real estate agencies and present them your work.
3: Get hired.
4: Profit.

Pick up a copy of Norman McGrath's book on architectural photography. A lot of the technique is based on using a view camera, but the principles still apply regardless of the equipment you're using. Easily the best book on the subject. Also, take a look at Hedrich Blessing for inspiration:

The sky is REALLY FUCKING STUPID. Everything else is okay.

This 1993 book appears to be out of print. Amazon doesn't appear to have anything worth buying on architectural photography.

Should I contact real estate agents or real estate developers?

The Norman McGrath book from $10 used. Being out of print doesn't change the fact that it's the best book on the subject.

No sir, I don't like it.

I don't know why you are being to stupid. If you don't like the sky, then just shut the fuck up. There are many who think a rich blue sky is gorgeous. If you can take a better picture with better lighting and with more skill, then please show it to us. Otherwise, shut your mouth and sit down. Thx.

Butthurt OP faggot.

Maybe next time before you ZOMG SHOOP TO FUCK the sky you should stop to consider that THE REAL SKY DOESN'T FADE TO FUCKING *WHITE* IN THE FUCKING DISTANCE.

It's not that hard to understand.

Not always. This is a slightly different setting and it is underexposed, but still. This is what our sunsets look like in Illinois in the winter.

Btw, this isn't photoshopped (obviously). Hell, I don't even have to add vignetting.
