I love it, but then again I'm a sucker for street shooting because it's something I can't do.

Kind of a shame the guy on the left is looking at the camera, but in saying that it gives it something too.

Did you develop yourself? What developer?

here OP
I did not develop it by myself, but I use to develop my negs with Tetenal ultrafin.
Thank you for your comment!
Why do you say you can't do street photography? you only need a full manual (or capable) camera and two touching balls.
>> sufi pk_x !!MgYe24ZHfRC
I like the composition, but there needs to be more contrast in the blank footpath and in the windows. All the blurry detail is somewhat distracting.
Also, lol at the sitting down mannequin. Peculiar pose.

>>Kind of a shame the guy on the left is looking at the camera
OH NO! The subject is aware of the photographer! It is no longer street photography! The raw emotion is tainted!
fuck your street photography.
>> Martin !!ve2Q1ETWmJH
Wow at first i was like "yeah its alright" but then after looking for abit longer.. its opened up so much more

The mannequin sitting down in the window, as Sufi stated, is rather odd but coincidently mimics the other subjects in the photo. If the guy wasn't looking at you, it wouldn't be as good, in my opinion.
Nice work!

Good shot, although the background is a bit too messy. Unlike>>269249I think the guy looking at the camera really adds to it.

>>269254
Fan-fucking-tastic. The look on the suit guy's face is priceless. This is one of the best street shots I've ever seen on /p/.

I like this shot, but wish the man's jacket were blacker. Its otherwise really cool!

thank you guys. Your opinions are very appreciated.
I have some more rolls to develop. I'll post the best shots of them.

Very nice work, OP, especially the first shot. If there's anything I can criticize, it's that I think the second shot doesn't benefit from the odd angle, it would've worked a very little bit better if it were level, although it could be argued that the angle makes it seem more dynamic and candid.

Are you scanning your film, or doing prints, by the way?

This whole thing really makes me ache even more for the days of film. I'm getting really close to picking up something fun to shoot film with, and developing equipment is everywhere on craigslist, so it's pretty plausible. Just haven't decided whether I'm going to go for an RF like the Bessa, or some sort of medium format camera. I really like the idea of a MF TLR or SLR with the waist-level finder, seems like it'd be great for candid shots, and there's a point to be made that MF film still has some real-world benefits in today's digital world. On the other hand, though, there's nothing quite like the feeling of a nice 35mm rangefinder, it really takes the photog back to a simpler, more refined era, in a way... 35RF is also nice because it means using the same printing equipment I'd use for my 35mm SLRs.

here OP
hi, thank you!
my chemicals are Tetenal ultrafin developer but these photos are developed by professionals because I dont' have plenty of time to spend it in development, nowadays.

Just get a 35mm rangefinder: Bessa or Leica or Zeiss Ikon, whatever, with a luminous 28mm or 35mm lens.
If you go with medium format, I can suggest you the Mamiya 7 II.
For me "street photo" means: bring the camera with you every day and if you see something, just shot. If you carry a heavy and bulky camera, you'll only take it expressly to "go out to take photos".
Don't waste time thinking on which camera should you purchase. Just get it and use it as soon as possible :-)
Leica M4P are "cheap" out there on ebay or RFF

Yes, it's from a minilab. I said "professionals", I mean't people who earn the money developing, not artisanal people...

who knows. I think this man has a very cinematographic face. Don't you?
