I think something's wrong with the lens one of my cameras- a fixed lens digicam, Panasonic FZ-8 to be specific. In the view when manually focusing, there's a depth of field chart that shows up off to the side.In all telephoto lengths except the very far end, it's accurate. At wide, normal, and the end of the range, though, the visually correct focus and autofocus are way short. For instance, focusing on something about five meters away, it'll tell you it's under one meter. Focusing on infinity- almost literally on infinity, even, like the moon or whatever- is also off. One has to back up the focus a few clicks of the control to get it in focus.Any idea what could've caused this problem to crop up?
