I like it alot, but i think this shot could have really benefited from a wider DoF

since your aim i presume was to contrast the screw with everything else.

i like it :)

the only thing is the bolt seems to be weirdly distorted from the wide angle and being so close...

yay!
OP here,
it's HDR and I've been deathly afraid of the over processed look. Good to have affirmation that my aesthetics are subtle.

Yea the DOF is the one thing I would change in this pic

I actually like what you did with the DoF. It's what's interesting about this shot for me. Plenty of people have done this but the way the lights go out of focus on the horizon looks really cool.

Focal point of the image is too close to the bottom of the frame.

At least the HDR was relatively subtle though.

I really liked this one! Good job!

I like everything about this:
The colour tones.
subtle pp.
contrast between focus on the screw and the background. blur of the lights.

Personally, I feel that there's a lot of emphasis going towards the horizon. There are many lines pointing towards it and it's dragging my eyes towards the bokeh. I find that the screw is lost within the blurred space. : /

Forgot to add, I would have increased the depth of field for this shot, though that would have hurt the bokeh.
