So /p/ I'm curious as to what ways you present your works. I just did my first accordion book, and it turned out well. Better than I had hoped. Just wondering if any of you're doing methods other than drymounting etc.
Pic Related, cover..
Shitty Pic is shitty, didn't bother setting it up, just snapped it.

I'd have cleaned up the 1am or done a better job so theres no underspray. Next time you're cutting a stencil just trace a font it will look much better.

I had to do a book and the connotative and denotative aspects of a house hold object of one of my design classes =\ choose a toilet and just french folded the pages and bound it in a toilet paper roll.

3rd Page. Looks a lot darker than the actual photo, a bit of loss of detail.

i like :)

how have you mounted the paper pages to the plywood(?) so that it can be opened?

Hey, thanks. I used something I picked up at the craft store called Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive. It worked pretty damn well. A lot better than I had thought. It's a wet glue, so you have to be diligent about how much you put on, but otherwise it worked really well. I used it to glue the pages together as well. I'll take a picture of it unfolded out and post it up.

Glueing the pages doesn't sound like the greatest idea, why not just bind them? It does look nice though, though the cover looks a little sloppy
>> Anonymous
ohhhh so its like a zig-zag brochure style things rather than a flip through book?

noice pics btw, an aquired taste but i like em, are you studying photog at tech/college/uni?

Op back again. Eh, it's what I had to do. They're heavy enough gauge pages so that there was really no glue lines in the pages to speak of. That and I used a lot of pressure so it bound them together well. Cover I sort of wanted to look rough, my stenciling sucks dick though. Was working in shitty light, and totally didn't see the overspray over the paper. That's what I get for working in low light. As far as stenciling, printer was broken so I couldn't cut any texts out, or make a nice streetlight... Oh well.

Yeah, it's an accordion book. Thanks, yeah I am studying Photo at the College. I'll start posting some more night stuff, all I have is in film, I'm excited to bring out the D300 because of it's noise characteristics when shooting at high iso .
Thanks guys.
