Hey /p/, I'm looking into investing some of my hard earned money on an external flash unit for my Canon 400D. I think I'm settled on getting something from the Speedlite series, although I'm not exactly sure what the differences are in between each of them. I mainly want to be able to bounce my flash and have a softened light in indoor shooting situations. If you could recommmend me a good external flash for a 400D by all means go ahead. My budget is <300$ btw.
