So /p/ I'm going to a concert tonight, and I've never shot in dark conditions like this before for a band. Any tips?

equipment I'm taking: D80, 85mm f/1.8, SB600

should I bring a different lens? I also have 50mm f/1.8 tamron 90mm, and 18-135mm d80 kit lens

I've never shot in RAW before, what would the post-shooting editing in CS3 entail?

and thanks for the tips ac!

I... actually don't know. I don't use photoshop. So let's hope that someone who does decides to be nice and help you out.

Maybe I should ask Ken Rockwell, he has a RAW vs JPG opinion-blab.

major lolz

I'll go out right now and mess around with RAW

someone needs to make a RAW meme

Dot worry about it. You just open the pic, and it automaticly takes you to a menu where you have sliders for everything. When youre done with them, you press "open image", and then you are in photoshop to do everything you normaly do.

the only ones that shoot raw in /p/ only use deviant art presets, therefore they suck

This man speaks the truth. However, the only overwhelming part of it might be trying to install RAW capability in CS.

Don't ask me why, but I've had to do it twice. Not fun.

Take your tripod into the moshpit. That will help to eliminate Camera Shake.
