The tone problem is a scanning issue, and there's no way that's a finished product yet.

Second one is well thought out but you've missed focus on both the face and the mask.

Vital step in photography. Check any good guide and it will include that step. I find a dash of cigarette ash really finishes the job nicely.

I just had a horrible thought: I bet there is a Photoshop filter somewhere that people can use to add the "dust and pubic hair covered negatives" look to their shots.
