Okay your options are like this:
1) Find a real mercury battery. Apparently they're sold online but I've never seen any. 2) Buy an alkaline battery in the correct size. These are pretty accurate at first (a bit too high voltage) but their voltage decreases sharply over use, so they end up inaccurate fast. 3) Buy a silver oxide battery in the correct size. These give a constant voltage, but a bit too high. 3a) Buy an adapter for lowering the silver oxide battery's voltage to the correct level. I think these are sold by a company called CRIS. Expensive, but a good long term idea. 4) Buy zinc-air Wein cells in the correct size. Good if they didn't run out so fast.
