I see what you did there....

I like it, but at the same time it looks a little too warped and dark for me. Is that some fuzz on the upper right?

Yeah, I'm not very good at eyeballing exposure. And it doesn't help that I was working with a camera with a shutter speed "Somewhere around 1/50th to 1/100th" and apertures that I couldn't remember the corresponding numbers of.

There very well might be fuzz in the upper right, but I don't see any. Might just be my monitor. But it's really tricky to scan a medium-format negative without dust, sadly.

Anyone know of a good way to get dust off a negative and a scanner bed?

Oops i meant on the grate itself, not from the scan ;) Your scan is all clean and everything, I just noticed some white there by the grass.

Ahhhh. I actually don't recall what that was. This was a total throwaway shot when I took it, but it ended up being my favorite on the roll when I scanned it. :)

Here's the only other one on the roll that I kinda liked.

Need to take it out for another spin sometime.

I like this a lot. Although the bridge feels a tiny bit cramped.

I know that with Holgas, use of a flash is pretty much required unless you're in bright daylight.

The Holga shoots at 1/100s, f/13 (approximately), don't know how similar the Diana is.

Quoth wikipedia, the apertures available to me are f/11, f/13, and f/19. I should probably write that on some masking tape and stick it on the camera or something.

lol@filename. when i saw that i imagined passing through it for delicious cake.

anyway i like the lighting and color. I'm big on bright lights and vivid colors but this scheme gives me a really quiet peaceful feeling that i feel like i really needed for some reason. what made you want to take pictures with so much grass like that?

The fact that there was lots of grass around. Joseph Davis State Park (where I took these pictures) is a really boring State Park with lots of crisply mown lawns and not much in the way of awesome photographic options. But that's where I ended up when I was driving around aimlessly looking for a good way to take pictures, so that's where I took pictures.
