Film scanners, /p/

I have been shooting film for a long time now, alongside my dSLR, but I've never bothered with scanning in the negatives. It's time to stop putting off buying a film scanner, so I need your advice.

I shoot the majority of my stuff in 120 format, and I might get into 4x5 some day, so I don't want one of those negative-strip scanners that scan only 35mm. Is the quality of a flatbed photo scanner even comparable to a device dedicated to negatives?

So... does anyone have suggestions on which scanner I should buy, that can do relatively good quality scanning at least up to 120 format size?

Thanks

Oh yeah, pic related, it's the only 120/35mm dual-format strip scanner I could find.

The only problem is that it's about $3k :(
