Okay, /p/,

I was wondering if this is a decent picture. See, this dove is nesting outside my window, and I got a picture. I thought it was pretty good, what do you think?

I took a few variations of it so I have more if you think they're any better.

Here's my take on it. But this is just me. There are many ways of approaching this. It's up to you to decide on how your photograph should "feel".

That cropping looks pretty good. Thanks.

Oh, I can't play with it it Photoshop because I suck major balls in it. I'll try and post it later if I do.

it's the best way to get better at it

We all suck at the beginning of something new, just practice and try different stuff so you learn how to use it.

Thats... probably what I would have done with it actually.
The original is a nice picture, very well focused, just a bit overexposed on the side. That, and the picture is a bit busy uncropped, so cropping it and fiddling with contrast and brightness would be essential to the survival of this picture.

Otherwise, nice catch. I'm amazed that you could get that clear of a picture from a shot out a window, especially with a coolpix.
