Hi /p/, I took a photo from a, mm, what is that film type called? (And I did this because I lack a proper scanner to scan these.)

And yes, they _suck_! So, what's a good and cheap (but not too cheap, because that woudln't be good) scanner to do the trick?

you photographed 35mm slide film (aka positive film, dia film, chromes...)

Minolta dualscans (or Scan Dual) are great scanners, I picked one up at ebay for 150 euro.

some flatbed scanners also support scanning film, but don't use for 35mm film. it's cheaper, especially if you work with larger formats, but low quality.

I'll second the minoltas, just make sure you don't get one of the first couple models. Not having ICE is a pain in the ass.

my III doesn't have it afaik. ah well, B&W can't use ICE anyway
