Sup /p/ I've heard that sometimes lenses for SLRs will fit on a DSLR, is this true?
If it is, would pentax SLR lenses fit on a Conon DSLR?

Dunno about this specific instance.
Usually best to use same-model lens w/camera though.

Is your camera a K-mount?
If it is then any K-mount Pentax lens should work, though it may not carry over the autofocus.

K-Mount Pentax lenses will fit on a Pentax DSLR.

M42 screw-mount Pentax lenses will fit (with an adapter) on a Pentax DSLR or a Canon DSLR.

K-Mount lenses might be fittable onto a Canon with an adapter, too, but I don't have any direct knowledge one way or the other.

K-mount lenses work just fine (with an adapter) on Canon DSLRs. Same restrictions as Nikon F mount lenses apply, but definitely worth looking into.

Thought they probably would, just didn't know if the flange-focal distance on K-mount was enough to let 'em adapt to an EOS and was too lazy to search.

Everything (most people will ever run across) works on EF mount except for MD and FD. It seems like every other week I see some guy selling a lens in some mount I've never heard of converted to EF. It's pretty amazing.

As far as I know, but not all of them do (like my dads macro). It depends on the age. All of my lenses that I used on my n80 work on my d80; but not all of them work on my f100.
