It is technically rule of thirds, but photo is still disinteresting.

Turning this in for assignment? Then congrats it is rule of thirds, you get a C for it; or you create that is interesting that you then photograph using rule of thirds as a basic composition. There is more to that composition than my subject is on the third line, but what is interacting with that subject? Iron man is creating the positive space, but not creating any interesting negative space. How can you make the negative space more interesting? What shapes and lights look like what when ____ distance out of focus is what you should be asking yourself when you're looking at this photos negative space. How can the negative space interact with iron man, or the lighting your create on iron man?

Negative space = uninteresting

Otherwise, it's a decent comp. Would be a lot better with something to balance the +/- spaces. Lighting needs work, but you already knew that.
