Please resize pics, WE don't want your full res
Also your Close up isn't close up enough even, You don't need to include everything in the pic all the time.. (Use vertical/portrait orientation to get more of the "person" less of the background)
Stand farther back, zoom in more (its a safe bet when dealing with people) That will also limit the Depth of field and make more "portrait" like shots. (trust me 90% of the time its a good thing)

Your everquest shot had some potential, but it was ruined because the chick is too dark. Overexpose the sky if you need to, But keep the subject properly exposed.

Also a bit noisy...

As photographs, these are pretty bad. I don't exactly know what you're going for really, but it seems more like a random snapshot rather than a portrait of any kind. A more personal perspective would be better so the viewer can see both the person dressing up as well as the costume itself. Otherwise there's really no connection, just a body in no particular context. I can't even tell that this person is in a costume in>>77263, the lens flare consumes all.

I like potraits that have interesting faces or bodies, and some context is always nice. But there's not of that here. If you're just taking pictures of costumes, then you might as well put them on mannequins.

The last picture is absolutely beautiful. Stop looking for the technical aspects of it and see it for the art it is. Not everything is suppose to be a portrait. Some things are emant to be interpretive. Look at how her shadowy silhoutte contrasts with the brightness of the sun and the sky. Its meant to be something more. From an artists point of view it's beautiful.

well thats the problem. its in between. its overexposed to be a silhouette and underexposed to be whatever else. its in limbo. its just there. the trees are really busy there and its a bad time of day. the sun is too bright and just overpowers the rest of the picture. artistically its still crappy.

Large and noisy, just the way I like them. I also like when I can't distinguish anything in the picture. Your focus is poorly lit and composed.

You also have small testicles

Hey OP,

also It isn't beautiful, ITs a decently composed Shittily exposed, snapshot, with waay too much sensor noise
