The pic is some tests from playing around with the built-in pop-up flash on a Nikon DSLR. I have an SB-800 but I was wondering if there were some interesting ways to manipulate the pop-up flash so I wouldn't have to carry that big flash around all the time...All pics taken at 35mm f/4, ISO 400.First pic shows direct pop-up flashSecond pic shows result with a small styrofoam card (cut from cheap styrofoam plates) attached by rubberband to the lip that says "Nikon" above the lens mount. The styrofoam card extends just enough to intercept the light from the flash.Third pic shows result with a cheap cosmetic mirror from the dollar store, rubber-banded to the pop-up flash unit, which causes the light to go straight up (ceiling bounce). What do you guys think? Are there other neat ideas with the built-in pop-up flash? I've seen stuff like improvised ringflashes out of prisms and stuff....
