I took this pic by a church in Romania.

PS does anybody have any tips for shooting weddings? Thanks!

Real men don't photograph weddings, they crash'em.

Wear a mask and a couple of pounds of C4 around your chest just incase they send in cops and SWAT and FBI. Take a little gun powder out of each bullet to make it quieter and lighter for you, and be sure to bring a fair amount of preloaded magazines. I would use a MAC-10 just because it's reliable, small, and gets the job done. If you plan on getting out of there alive, I suggest you purchase the gun used and get your ammunition from a small store in a large city. Wear a ski-mask and somewhat padded gloves obviously (mountain biking gloves work well). If you can afford it, pack a light kevlar vest, make sure it doesn't slow you down too much though. Make sure you study your location well as to plan out as many probable situations that may occur during your hit.

EXIF is so easy to edit that it's useless to ask for it as proof.

Photo with gloriously fake EXIF related.

sweet glass plate camera dude, whered you buy it from?

My first tip would be DON'T DO IT. If you really have to do it then what little advice I'd have would depend on how much practice you've had and what the situation is/what equipment you are using. Tell us the details!

I hope you have good nerves and are good at working with people.

uhh if youre asking for tips on a wedding, id say tell them you dont feel youre up to the job and have then hire a professional. if the pro isnt a dick he'll let you tag along or whatever and then you can learn stuff from him.

Sorry, can't tell because I've been dead for 60 years.

Wise words. A lot of the pros are sympathetic and won't mind you tagging along either and as long as you don't get in the way it shouldn't be a problem.

Yeah, but who would think to edit it to be an Olympus E-10?

someone who owns an E-10 and wants to give the impression they took it?

I use a Nikon D200 and D70 with a variety of lenses such as the Nikon 17-55mm 2.8 and a Nikon SB-600 flash.

I've done a wedding before but it was a small one and they were going to do it without a photographer anyway. I'd say I'm pretty good at documentary photography but the only part I'm not really sure about for weddings is the indoors with low lighting and all that.

I guess I could tag along with a pro and it would be nice to take pictures without the pressure of having to please the customers but then again I wouldn't have as much freedom because I'd have to let the pro dude do his job.

You'll have plenty chances to arrange your own groups while they are busy and get some of your own photos.
