dear /p/ why are there so many used Nikon D70 / D70S on ebay?
are they worth a purchase for a poor fag?

My guess is they're looking to flog it off to supplement the purchase of a Nikon D90 or a Canon 50D.

My reasoning being that I wouldn't get rid of my old D70 just to upgrade to a D80 or a Canon 400D - maybe a 450D, but probably not.

Shitty ISO performance, very small viewfinder and the display is really small on the D70. The D70S LCD is a bit bigger.

I have a D70 and it's a VERY VERY good camera for its price. I can sync flashes at 1/800th too.

Would you have a better recommendation than the D70 in the second hand price range?

Megapickles don't bother me too much but shitty ISO probably would.

anything in that price range is gonna have about the same high ISO performance. (read: shitty)

the next best thing both price and performance wise is the d80. the canon xsi is also fairly decent but since you probably care about having a large, imposing DSLR that looks like its made out of metal the d80 is a must have.
enjoy, faggot
