If that lens flare was more spread out it would be much more epic.

The older pics with the log had a btter mood. Now there is too much in it. Goddamnit, it's a awesome location, do something with it!!!
>> washer !kxrJVlZ8OE
ditch the umbrella

use the lines to your advantage, draw the eye somewhere.

use a female, they're more aesthetically pleasing

I still really want to punch that dude.

original (uncropped) is better

I fucking hate this shit.
>> brite
I'd use the autobracketing too put some more contrast in the dark umbrulla. and try to lose the lensflare. it doesn't suit the picture imo

PANTS AND LENS FLARE
>> Martin !!ve2Q1ETWmJH
Don't like this as much..

OP:
This is totally random, but vital to my sanity.. Why is there a matress & painting(photo?) in the middle of a stairwell?
>> Jesus !1EQ.kCAg9c

I liked your first picture a bit better...and as others have said, get a lady.

What would a woman instead of a man add to the shot?

Besides, he'd just put her in those same damned pants.
>> Jesus !1EQ.kCAg9c
>>168054
Well, unless it's a horribly ugly woman, she's probably going to look better than a dude.

...unless you could get Jude Law to pose for you, he's damn fine.

As long as that's all she's wearing, still win.

Keep the guy, hes hot, everyone is worried about being gay so they are trying to get rid of him.

Better lense flare would be nice, the current blob is quite distracting.

Love the colour (or lack off) and everything else tho.

1) Stump looks shitty and distracting.

2) Why the fuck is there an owl painting? If there isn't a specific symbolic reason for it to be there it looks like shit. Actually it looks like shit no matter what.

3) JESUS CHRIST NOT THIS FAG AND HIS UMBRELLA AGAIN. I'm starting to think it's YOU and that these are self-portraits.

4) Lens flare looks like shit.

Totally agree with you.

>"FAG AND HIS UMBRELLA AGAIN."
I've got a feeling all these were from the same shoot. Is just showing as different angles.

Actually I'd say that guy is rather mediocre. I'm all for having hot guys in pictures, but this guy is not hot.

did Butterfly just admit it's gender?

OP here,

>>168075
The whole thing was pretty experimental and under time constraint, I didn't have a whole lot to work with, but on returning I'll take better care to set up the shot more appropriately.

There's a tree log (actually carved into a chair, though you can't see it from the angles I've shot it at) and a paper mache mattress there because it's one of the many art pieces around the campus. Don't ask me why they're there, they just are, I have no idea. I'm just trying to take advantage of a good location.

Lens flare was accidental, again when I go back to it I'll have a better idea for a shot in mind. My original plan was to use a female, but nobody was around to do the shot, so I used the subject you see there, a friend from residence.

I understand and appreciate both sides of the criticism, but like I said it was pretty rushed.

newfag harder, also i was talking about the sepia more than anything.

Butterfly is a woman, presumably unmutilated.

Ergo, she has a clitoris. Why the hell are we even talking about this?

If you don't want criticism don't fucking post your images asking for it.

Seeks to be original through use of uncommon props and scenery. In other words, too try hard, the photograph is imposing ... there is no curiosity that arises when I look at it only frustration.

You fail at cropping, but I commend you on your persistence with this. It's hard to really express an idea you like. Sometimes you just gotta give up and move on.

But hell, can this dude be a meme already?

Never said I didn't want criticism, thanks. I THINK what I said was I accept both sides of it, the positive and the negative. Thanks, though.

>>168190
I'm not trying to be inventive or original, or whatever. I'm mostly experimenting and asking for criticism and ideas on here. Maybe I should repeat myself more to get the point across, I don't know.

Again, thanks to everyone for the responses.
