So, I decided sometime last week that I wanted to start taking pictures of ever insect I see in my yard. I have zero photography expierence, and I am more concerned about getting a good picture of the insect, rather than an 'artsty' one.

Anyways, this white caterpillar is the 4th once I've take with a $50 Olympus, and i've already gotten two amazing from /an/. I was wondering what you guys think?

Yesterday I ordered a Fujitsu s700, i wanted to upgrade from my chinatown camera to something a little nicer. I thought it was alot smarter to do that, and ignore my first impulse to get a nikon

a Fujitsu S700 or a fujifilm s700? I've got the fujifilm s700 and it's got a pretty nice macro feature, but the DOF is always too wide. You will never get a nice blurred background or foreground. Everything will be "Sorta" in focus.

I snapped the pic fast, he was wet and I didn't want to bother him with a big ass camera.
