Thanks for the advice. Also, thanks again for the strobe blog link, and the flash advice. Its going to be a while till I can pick them up. I'm playing around with aperture and whatnot. I really didn't know what I was doing when I used to use manual. I've only really been using the hell out of cameras for a year. I finally got into some of the photo classes this semester. Waiting for that to start. I hope it teaches me something useful =/
Oh, the grainyness...... From what I understood the only option to get a brighter picture without turning on a mess of lights was to speed up the ISO. The aperature was at its lowest value (allowing the most light in) and I had as long as an exposure time possible without using a tripod, would have been severely blurry if not :(
