ah. I recently bought a do it yourself reseal kit on ebay from a seller called Interslice. Its nothing fancy but it definatley works as ive already refoamed three camera with it. and the ten bucks to buy the kit beats the hell out of paying 30 bucks for parts and 120 for labor at B&H.

I've checked into it but I'm a little worried about using solvents without really knowing what I'm doing.

i had no problems. i just used lighter fluid as the solvent (dries fast and gets rid of the sticky crap) and cotton swabs and toothpicks for saturating and removing the old foam.
