A great way to ensure that every model is tanned to perfection for your photo shoot.

Fuuuuck. I wander into /p/ first thing in the norning and find THIS? I think I need a hug.

You people are a bunch of idiots. The LHC is an awe-inspiring research tool of epic scale, not some doomsday device.
>> Anonymous
>>133924
At first I thought it was a joke, then a meme, but now I'm starting to wonder. Is the general populous actually dumb enough to think that the LHC is going to destroy the world?
>> Anonymous
>>133933

Yes. Several people on SA posted the LHC in a "things that scare the ever-living shit out of you" thread. Cause, you know, it will make black holes and eat up the earth.

>>133933
We're really going to rub it in your face when that thing kills everything.

Now I know why I ultimately decided on the humanities and not the sciences. I get dismissed as being pretentious, you fellows get attacked as trying to destroy the world.
>> Butterfly !xlgRMYva6s

And which one of those is cooler?
>> Anonymous
>>133956

That's why I chose engineering. Not as dumb as a humanities student, but I don't get blamed for going against god's will or anything. All I get is morons who burned themselves on hot tea trying to sue me.

Incidentally, science > humanities for all common situations.

It wont happen if Hawking radiation exists.

We are not trying to destroy it, we are trying to explain it. inb4religion

Its the biologists who need to go trough that, not the physicians.
>> Anonymous
>>133981

"Physicists"

Biologists and physicians are a lot more similar than you think, one is just the application of the other to humans specifically :p
>> Anonymous
>>133981
I wasn't saying that. The point was that a researcher in the humanities runs the risk of falsely being accused of being in an ivory tower, etc. whereas scientists get falsely accused of trying to destroy the world.

And fundies hate everybody.
>> ac !!VPzQAxYPAMA
>>133988
Not true. Fundies don't hate Jesus Christ.

Well, they'd hate *actual* Jesus Christ, because he'd try to get people to stop working so hard to keep boys from kissing and maybe make some progress towards getting people to stop killing each other. But they love the Jesus they've built up in their heads.

I wonder if that even works like a ring flash...

i'm presuming that's the R1C1 macro system.... hmmm

If... if. According to Einstein it doesn't.
>> Anonymous
>>134010

I don't see why not.
>> Anonymous
>>134010
It does, I don't have a picture of it, but it creates an interesting effect on the eyes on the models. Unlike the circular flash which creates a circular light on a model's eyes, it makes a dotted circle...I like the effect.
>> Anonymous
Nikon have the best flash system. I wish Canon would pull the thumb out of their ass and get working on their own.

so this is /p/'s equivalent of tacticool?
