Ok /p/, I have a question about photometry: How can I calculate the lux value of an illuminated surface? I have a camera which only adjusts shutter speed itself but not aperture. All the instructions online only work by setting the shutter speed manually and letting the camera adjust the aperture automatically, which you then can use to look up the lux value. However, there obviously must be some formula where I can calculate the lux value from shutter speed AND aperture size.
Yes, I know the whole thing isn't very accurate but I only need for a rough estimate.

Google.

And that camera ought to have manual mode.

Google. From Wikipedia: (N^2/t)=(ES/C) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exposure_value
