I like handrail 2. Ideally he should be farther down the rail and you should have a faster exposure (and not roller blading fucking fruit-booter). But i think its the best of the group.
I've been doing skate photos for quite a while now, and I think the whole extreme fisheye thing has gone too far. You don't need less than a 15mm.

lighting with skating is an issue too. Because of the speed of your shot on the battery gap its just slightly darker than it should be.

keep in mind that skate shots are the only place where it's OK to use your flash.

I don't get what skaters see in the extreme fisheye shot.
The skaters where I live do it too, all it does is make a boring shot pseudo-artsy.
The pictures aren't god-awful I guess..

it's been a big thing in skate videos/magazines for a while now.

the point is to make everything look bigger. so a switch backside tail done a really small ledge looks like it's done on a ledge thats knee-high. etc, etc...
