wow nice shot,, i attepmted some photos with my Olympus mju 720sw.. but yeh with out an external lens they were shit.. plus is more of a point and shoot type camera, im looking into getting a DSLR cam tho =) i love the redness of it.. also. did you get any around 10pm EST? (east coast) when the light started to appear on the bottom right of it? if so can you upload some? it looked so surreal and amazing at that stage, thanks

Anyone captured this with a DSLR?

Sorry about this comment, but the images are blurry a tad bit and noisy. Coming from a S3IS is very good..Did you use a tripod?

Just wish there was a version which is sharp. I cant wait till the next one in February.

here is my version of the eclipse, shot with a fuji s5600 on a tripod on full 63mm zoom, (10x),
it turned out noisy and crap, even on my minolta xg-m with a 200mm lens the moon is only like 1/20th of the photo, imagine with a 28mm lense., lol
