shame i'm a Jewish Chink.

otherwise i'd be more excited. Is that a stitched pano or a fisheye?

You could always get yourself a pretty tree and just try to resist worship anyone or anything.

All good, my parent gets the lights set up at their place... cause they live on one of those crazy streets where people do their light and take it seriously.

I celebrate Christmas (since my parents don't) by whoring myself out to a friend's family or the girl's family who i happen to be dating. So i'm off with the girlfriend who's uncle is an award winning National Geographic photographer... and his... racist redneck de-facto...

Christ the bitch asked if i spoke English... what the fuck... i came 17th out of 60,000 people for English in my High School leavers certificate...bah

"racist redneck de-facto..."

Wife? Or something else? It's a bit unclear.

Who's the photographer? Can you say?
>> Jeremo !iKGMr61IHM

oh sorry, de-facto here means living spouse. Like they're not legally married but essentially have the same rights as a married couple... like every right i believe.

I doubt you would have heard of the uncle, it's a shame they don't get that much recognition... besides i don't want to name drop. He is acclaimed in his field apparently... not that i know much about his field.

around here we call that a common law marriage.

>>97581
That's good to learn. Thanks.

Hope she's not too hard on you; she sounds denser than the average racist, and that's not a high standard to meet.
>> Jeremo !iKGMr61IHM

Oh i meant Live-in... oops. haha

Yeah the legal term here is de-facto relationship, funnily enough common law marriage isn't an accurate term legally here.

The main difference is also that our Federal government has the authority to legislate laws that would affect Marriages... but have no power over de-facto relationships... the states have that power.

Not that you're interested, i'm just digging up my old law textbooks.

haha thanks, all is good, my gf warned me plenty. Honestly, i'm so used to it too, i grew up in a predominantly Anglo Saxon area. I was the only remotely Asian kid in my primary (elementary) school.

But it's alright actually, most oldies will speak their minds but it's not a vicious form of prejudice... the old diggers just grew up knowing a different world. They'll use terms deemed now as politically incorrect, but i know they mean no harm.

Let's hope this woman is one of those people.

You're a law-student or lawyer?

>>97586
I understand what you mean; I grew up in an area of the American South with some full-on rednecks and there were plenty of malicious ones and plenty of just set-in-their-ways ones. Like this one regular at a coffeeshop I was a regular at- even though I'm completely European and don't look Asian in the slightest, he would always call me an "asian tourist" because I always would have my camera and because it's my habit to wear a Tilley hat.

Good luck, anyway.

hahah shit i know what you mean about people like the guy with the Asian comment.

Like some locals who've known me for years will stick up for me and argue i'm more Australian than most... but in the same breath they'll tell me off in a joking way about my 'Coon-ie' clothing... i was wearing a bomber jacket with white Air Force Ones... hahaha... ahhh can't win them all.

And yeah i'm a Law student... well i was... still technically enrolled... long story there. Ha!

Thanks,

and sorry to Iprod for thread hijack

Coonie? Another term I'm unfamiliar with. In the US, "Coon" is a slur against blacks.

And yeah, sorry iProd. Nice shot, although I would've either centered the standing tree more or thrown it off more to the side.
