ITT: Your favorite camera to look at (i.e. The most aesthetically pleasing camera you've seen and/or own.) Camera makers have made some really nice looking stuff over the years, in addition to some horrible looking shitboxes, but let's just focus on the positive here.

Here's my entry: Kodak Bantam Special from the thirties. It's got a nifty Art Deco style and I really like the tiny little bellows. This is my (very dusty) copy I inherited from my grandfather.

Cliched answer, but the Leica M3. It just looks, maybe by association or whatever but it does, just like what a camera should look like.

That wooden handle is fucking awesome.
>> Anonymous
>>293369

i have it. the wooden handle is too small for my hands so it is much easier to handhold without it. i guess it only helps people with small hands hold it. i never use it.

it's a good camera but it isnt that insanely attractive, its just a generic slr shape.

i think mamiya 7ii's and bessa rangefinders are a heck of a lot slicker looking.

The M stands for Maitani, the creator of the system, and was also the original name.
But then the nazis over at leica decided they owned the letter M, so olympus had to add the O, which does indeed stand for olympus.
Olympus Maitani.

They actually manufactured M-1 cameras before leica realized what was going on.

On topic:
OM-2n without the hot-shoe and with the standard 50mm lens mounted.
