Greetings /p/, this is my first time posting here.
My father bought a Canon EO5 (or E05, I'm not sure) (it also says: Digital Rebel XT) camera some time ago and I would like to attempt to take HDR shots, I believe that's what they are called.
The lenses this camera has says they're made by Canon and they also say: EFS 18-55mm. It also includes a sort of switch which can be AF and MF (I think this is the focus, lol..).

So, anyone with a similar camera that could help me out? I want to take a picture of something at very high resolution but that it doesn't come out blurry when you zoom in...

I browsed the first page here and found the picture I have included. I want a picture that looks like that (except for the light), could anyone help?

I forgot to add, the object I wish to take a picture of is a guitar I own. I have a tripod as well <.<...

I smell troll. If not, the thing you are looking for to zoom in without everything becoming blurry is here: http://www.gigapxl.org/ yeah thats right. What you described isn't HDR.

I'm sorry if it looks like I'm trolling.
I don't want super high resolution, I was at least a decent resolution, but I want it to be like the picture I posted above.
I'm serious.

Trolling is continuing because you don't explain what you want but start out with HDR because you know we hate HDR, right?

I'm sorry. I honestly read that what I wanted is called HDR.

Well, what I want is to take a picture of my guitar but for every part of it to be in focus. I also want it to be a decent resolution, so I can use it for a possible poster I have in mind.

use f/1.4, it brings everything into focus

shoot in JPEG for best resolution

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but it doesn't matter where the little dial thingy is I can't see the picture on the screen. Is it a separate button?

your trolling is way too obvious, so just stop

That last post wasn't me.
Also, since it seems like I'm going to keep being called a troll... Is there any guide I could read to learn about these things? I really WOULD like help.

Try typing HDR into google.

I can't find the HDR switch on the E05.

Should I tell dad to get this replaced as the screen is still black.. and YES i have taken the lid off the front of the camera.

Ok guys, I finally got the monitor to turn on after I found the battery/film or whatever it is and put it in.

I am going through the menu right now but still don't see ANY menu items called HDR or even high density resolution..
Can someone point me in the right direction please?
Also, i have had to tape the lens on because for some reason I can't get it to fit... is there a special way of making it fit?
