I'm just saying, man.

Canon boxes are white and red. That's it.

There is no style to them.

The Nikon boxes have cachet.

...and you haven't seen them Leica boxes yet!

That's fucking hot too.

Is it a matte satin finish?
>> Anonymous
>>104017
No, it's just matte gray cardboard. Still, minimalistic design ftw.

Canon is so 'in your face'. Box is made of fail.

But I would kill someone for that camera.

Only trailer trash kills people for 40D. You gotta aim higher.

You miss Rockwell mode next to Adams mode, other than that I LIKE YOUR CRUISE CONTROL
>> Anonymous
>>104041
Rockwell Mode is only on the D40 and 18-200 VR.
>> Anonymous
>>104044
How is the 18-200 VR ? I'm planning to buy it to replace my 18-105 kit lens for the d80.
>> thefamilyman !!rTVzm2BgTOa
why dont my nikkor boxes look like that? :(
All mine are Gold with black writing (gold writing for ED lenses) but i like the gold box.
>> Anonymous
cos those are old boxes...the lots of lens ones.
The gold only is newer boxes..not that boxes matter.

I have the 18-200VR. Love it. But at F3.5 there's not much bokeh.
So, I am using my 50mm F1.8 and 18-200VR. Next will be a macro lens...

i've got many boxes that are more than 10 years old, but still the same design. So i always thought they had been the same design for at least 10 years.
>> Macheath !8b4g0BkNZg

Actually, those boxes are nikon certified to be light tight, so you get a manual film camera as a bonus.
>> Jeremo !iKGMr61IHM
man i havent even seen one of those colourful boxes... they do look better than the Canons... not that it makes a point in the long run...

i've only got the gold on black. Bah.

I've been getting stuff for over the past year, and I've seen 'em all. My 50 1.4 comes in the lenses box design. The 17-55 came in the later gold one, thick material, as does the flashes and battery grip. My 70-200 came in the thinner gold one. The D80 came in the black box with gold trim. The D300 came in the thick gold box as like the 17-55, but what the MB-D10 came in I think is the newer design.
