Damn those branches on the left side get in the way.

Seems a little undersaturated to me. It'd be nice to make the yellow on those joint attachments pop out a little more.

Mind showing off your source images? Also, what program did you use to put this together?
>> Anonymous
Not bad for HDR, I like that you didn't oversaturate the fuck out of it like many seem to enjoy doing.

I'll work on removing the branches on the left (already tried, failed to make it look unshop'd)
and lemme try something saturation wise like you mentioned. :]

one of the original images attached

Thanks

Yeah, be careful with the saturation. Very moody feeling to the photo overall.

This is TRUE HDR quality.

I HATE YOU :<

To add saturation to the joint attachments I had to individually lasso each and every one of em.

The branch crap was also hard to get rid of due to no natural similar gradient visible in the photo. Had to use other techniques.

But hay, liek?

That is made of win.

First image is still the best. Second image is shit, third image is less shit but the branches balanced the scene and helped hide the big ugly blown-out section.

You really didn't bother to read the thread did you?

I like this one. Better than your first one.

>>112502

What in that post has anything to do with reading the thread? The two edits were less appealing than the first posted image.

>>112506
Image #2 is a raw source image, of course it isn't good. The third one is a judgment call but if you don't even know what editing technique is being discussed here you should just get back to /b/.

>>112509

No fucking kidding, it's not any good. Why anyone would want to see a random image from an HDR set is beyond me. What editing technique are you referring to, the cloning out of the branches or the tone-mapped HDR?
>> beethy
>>112520
Hopefully not the HDR technique. I don't want this to turn into another TRUE HDR thread hahahaha

>>112504
thanks ac, i guess the 30+ minute touch up was worth it

>>112521

Haha, TRUE HDR. The funny thing is that even though we're arguing about it and I like the first image best, this us still the best HDR shot I've seen on here in months. It's HDR done correctly.
>> Anonymous
Actually I'd like to know more about creating the image. How many different exposures did you use for this? How far apart in EV? I'm assuming you used photoshoop for this?
>> Jeremo !iKGMr61IHM
Looks like you shot this somewhere in Japan.

>>112524
That's great to hear :]

>>112525
Ran 3 exposures though photomatix pro.. at AEB -2 and +2.
The thing with photomatix is that it actually creates a lot of errors in photos where certain things aren't positioned the same, like tree leaves or any other moving objects.
This then needs to be fixed heavily in photoshop by various means.
Apart from those fixes, I adjusted many other parts of the photo by selecting them and either sharpening or adjusted the contrast of it.
The colors were also dramatically changed as you can see. :]

Every HDR shot generated through photomatix needs to be altered a certain way changing the levels, different for every shot since a generic preset value set will not always look right depending on the elements in a shot.

If it was in the US he'd be in custody for having a camera on school property....the fucking pedo that he is.

I like the unsaturated look a lot more. Saturating the colors doesn't fit with the otherwise somewhat gloomy picture.

haha, it was actually shot in Sydney.. at a tiny public playground nobody visits..
