New Camera Anonymous
Hey, I'm pretty new to photography in general, and I need a good moderately priced versatile camera for artfag discovery of my own. Recommendations?

(I took this picture with a Canon Elura DV camera, I want one specifically for photography)

I really like my PowerShot G7, I assume the newer G9 is even better

G7 used was about $250, G9 used would be a bit more

Powershot A590 is the only answer. Ever (until the next model comes out). You don't need anything more until you decide you need an SLR.

wrong bitch. the extra sensor size does basically nothing at the expense of extra weight, size, AAs and 100 dollars. The only advantages are the extra zoom and the tilt screen.
