Hay /p/.

What lense should I bring to the next raid?
March 15 I only used the 50mm 1.8.
Gives awesome results, as expected, but i want some more versatility.
I have some choices (besides the prime):
Nikkor 18-55 Kitlens
Nikkor 35-70 3.5~4.5 AF
Osawa 28mm 2.8 MF (no metering)
Osawa 70-150mm MF (no metering)
Lensbaby 2.0 (bad choice?)
Rubinar 500/5,6 MF (no metering)

So basically this leaves me with an AF range of 18-70mm and MF of 70-150 + 500.

Comment too long. Clickhereto view the full text.

Come on /p/.

Theres a Sigma 55-200 comming up too, so maybe 3 lenses? Being 18-55, 55-200 and 50mm Prime?

55-200 nikkor vr.

Comparison (also in price) make my interest shift radically towards the Sigma.
my $30 Tripod > $300+ for VR.

I don't need that shit in broad daylight.

I can take a 2nd-hand Sigma for €50-60, whereas a 2nd-hand Nikon with VR would cost me €200. Respectively that would be $80-90 and $330 for you Amerifags.

then go buy the sigma. jesus fuck. if you already have your mind made up, why even start a thread? to brag about your awesome third party gear?

No, if you would read the first post, im looking for advice for a lense choice to shoot some photos for Operation Reconnect.
The fact that I consider buying a telezoom for close-ups has little to do with it besides me asking if it's a good choice to take with me to the raid...

I think the general consensus is that /p/ doesn't really want to hear about this scifaggotry
