Haha, at least one Malaysian can imagine: few years ago we got exchange student from Malaysia to come with us to sauna (80 c) and from sauna to swimming (we did saw hole to the ice before sauna) to the lake (watertemp near zero) ;)

As a North Dakotan, I lol at that as well. Coldest day I remember was about -70F with wind chill. -4F is pathetic.

And remember to wrap your camera inside a plastig bag when you take it inside.

I think you should take advantage of the interesting contrasts that snow provides. These look like they were just taken at random with no thought as to what you were shooting. If you were going for the tree line, get closer, that fence is distracting. Other than that the pictures a just kinda bland, nothing stands out and nothing catches my eye as interesting. Just my 2 cents though, take it for what it is.

I like the fence, you suck
>> Anonymous

Then ask OP to make the fence the subject of his next outing so he can satisfy your fetishistic love of the fence. Then you can have a ton of nice pictures of the shitty fence to jack-off to.

-25 celsius, northern finland.

from what i've heard, it's more about the toughness of the photographer than the camera with modern dslrs when shooting out in the cold :) just remember to bring backup batteries and keep them in a warm pocket - battery life is very poor in freezing temperatures.
