Hey /p/.

Check out these videos. The world's largest douchebags review a camera that they don't understand at all - in this case the 5D.

Listen to them discuss its groundbreaking new features such as "a compactflash slot!" Wonder at the miracle of technology that is "magnesium alloy or something!" Cry at its tragic shortcomings such as "it has no flash!"

One guy just talks about how the camera's "got it all, right here", with the little "toggle knobs" on the top, then specifies that I ONLY USE MANUAL. I can't make this stuff up. Watch and weep.

watch the damn things before you start spewing random nonsense. These videos are about 3/10 troll-level on /p/, but as far as I can tell it's real.

wat. the second guy is a bit wrong... 5d flash synchs at 1/200, not 1/250. 12.1 not 12.8mp.

Non of them said anything about full frame sensor :(

lool at the buzz cut guy. Pointing out the canon logo on the strap like that's why you buy it

LOL OKI DOKI!

a "professional" amount of resolution. haha, that bitch sucking her teeth makes me want to punch her in the face.

Sweet, according to these assholes my $500 Olympus E-500 is almost up to par with the 5D!

But it doesn't have a professional amount of resolution!

I don't own a 5D so I'm not sure, but I pretty distinctly remember when shooting it there were saturation varying controls in some custom picture style menu.

Not like that matters, because one should be shooting raw.

all canons have that

lmao that bitch has no idea she is talking about. I have a D80 and according to her the body alone of a D70 is 1500 dollars alone. Strange when I got my D80 THE FUCKING MODEL ABOVE for 1200...with a bundled 18-135 lens.....
>> Anonymous
That fucking bitch doesn't even know what full frame is.

"It can take all EF lenses, so I dont have to buy any additional lenses or anything" /facepalm

If anything, she gets to use -less- lenses.
>> Anonymous
I hate when people buy crap they have no idea how to take advantage of... like $10k alienware pcs or a camera that i would die for to own.
*shrug* @ newfags

THIS CAMERA IS AMAZING! LOOK AT THE STRAP! IT'S THE REAL DEAL!
>> Anonymous
On the 5D ones the guy in the yellow shirt and the chick both say "with the 135mm lens". Does Canon actually make an EF 135 prime? Seems like a strange choice for such morons (WHAT NO ZOOM!)
Or are they just talking about the long end of a zoom? In that case I'm surprised that they didn't call it a 4x zoom or something.

Sad...

It's the 135L (f/2)
>> Anonymous
>>212011
They make two: and f/2 L and an f/2.8 non-L soft focus. I'd guess it's optically up with an L lens, but they didn't want to weatherproof it since the chances of someone using a soft focus lens in bad conditions are close to nil.

('Nachtwey, could you come here a minute? Why did you use soft focus on this particular set of starving African pictures? And you wrecked the lens, too, all that dust got in it..." Not very likely.)
>> okto !.ZlrOYZhsk
>>212017
The 135/2.8 is similar to (although not as good as) Nikon's 105 DC, in that the primary purpose of the softness is to let you control bokeh while keeping your subject sharp.

jay peg and raww

professional level amount of resolution

one of the key features that really sold me on this item
>> Anonymous
>>212088
Why do I get the feeling that, if that bitch put her lens on a crop body and saw that it increases her "zewm", she'd be completely sold on that body and would want to switch.

HOLY FUCKING HELL ON A KEN ROCKWELL, MY D70 HAS 9 MEGAPIXULZ AND I DIDN'T KNEW OOOH SHIT PROFESIONAL RESOLUTION!!

professional resolution is now a meme
