Bridge at Sunrise Anonymous
Here are a couple shots that I took this morning. They are both of one of the longest pedestrian bridges in the world, the Walnut Street Bridge in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The bridge was built in 1890 and was closed to vehicles in the 70s. It was almost demolished in the 90s but a group of citizens rallied behind it and put up the money to turn it into a walking bridge. It's now one of our top local attractions as well as being a very convenient way of getting across the Tennessee River on foot.

I took these shots this morning while wandering around downtown.

And this is the Holmberg Glass Bridge that connects the Bluff View Art District with the rest of downtown. Before this bridge was built a few years ago, it was impossible to get from the bluff to the rest of town. Now it's possible to walk pretty much anywhere in town.

The more I look at this one, the less I like it. I just didn't pay enough attention to my exposure.
