frozen water, time still, how? Anonymous
How do you take a picture where liquid water looks like its frozen? Like it's really focused and detailed, not like it's in motion and blurry.

If my buddy is under water, and quickly rise up from the water, how do I take such a picture?
I want it to take a picture where the water looks like it's 'frozen' while still attached around the person and in the air.
Can it be done with a standard point and shoot camera?

You have to have your camera on a really fast shutter speed, probably the fasted you can. So with a point and shoot camera you'd need to have lots of light so the camera can decide a fast shutter speed. So I advise you to use a flash. Infact if you do use a flash this will freeze the motion so you will get the desired effect. Good luck!

Highest shutter speed with lots of light, basically.
