Blur is my fault.

No worries. "Hey, look at how little noise this has at ISO1600" is one of the few acceptable excuses for posting a high-res shot.

I'm guessing it's CMOS magic. That's a damn pretty ISO1600. I barely see any noise at all in those shadows. If Canon's doing this sort of stuff with their low-end bodies, I really, really can't wait to see what the hypothetical 5D replacement will do when it stops being hypothetical.

That is saved as quality 10 from PS CS3 because the JPG was 7 MB for some reason.

Looks pretty good, the 1600 on my xti is damn good as well.

No NR = no luminance NR?

Since I don't see any chroma noise.
>> Anonymous
ACR has chroma at 25 by default, so yes.

How are you liking the xsi so far? I can't believe they put so many pro features on it. How's the viewfinder?
>> Anonymous
It's not mine.

>>141936I can't believe they put so many pro features on it.

What pro features? On the subject of viewfinder, it's still a pentamirror, no prism.

It's got 14-bit and Live View but that's just getting with the times and not "pro".

Spot meter but that should've been there since the beginning.

There's no sealling. Small buffer and FPS, no QCD, goes on and on.

Forgot to say:

It's a good camera. I would buy it.

>>141939

The small buffer is kind of a kick in the nuts.

What is QCD?

is something in OP's pic supposed to be sharp?
>> Anonymous
>>141945

lol
>> Anonymous
>>141945
I think it was to demonstrate how much noise there is at 1600, even though it's not super sharp. It wont make a difference if you print at 4x6
>> Anonymous
So did that guy just walk into a brick wall or something?
>> Anonymous
Is it an expensive camera? You sure didnt put much money into glass :/

OP?

Sorry, sharpening and scaling doesnt impress. you dont gain detail by increasing contrast.
