i suppose i should ask this here in /pho/.I'm wanting to get into Super 8 stuff, nothing serious, just to have around with friends and stuff. I want ot go Super 8 because i LOVE the look and the timeless feel of it. So i have a few questions. What camera is best (sub $150), and I need the camera to meter correctly with E64T. I had been looking at the Canon 814 series, but I can't tell which of the group is better. I need it for E64T,mainly because it's readily avaliable to me, thought it's also very low grain and nice colors. And what kind of price would i be looking at for processing and digi conversion with a TC machine, not some shitty DV cam on a projector. If there's any other info i should know, throw it all out. but bottom line, i wanna get into Super 8, but i'm fairly uneducated on the old Super 8 format and equipment. Thanks Anon
It says "/p/ - Photography" at the top. There is no /pho/ here. Go back to 7chan with your lazy copypasta, idiot.
yeah, sorry about that. i posted it there too. and given tehres some rivalry, i wanted to get everyone's opinions. sorry about that.aside from the hating on 7chan, could you help?
>>106191Seeing as you asked nicely:http://homepage.mac.com/onsuper8/They will be a good resource for this sort of thing.http://www.digitaltransfersystems.net and others specialise in digitising these things, so it can be done. Processing (without digitising) will cost about the same as the film cartridge.
