>small and dim viewfinders As has been said, all entry level viewfinders suck. Though, quite frankly all cropped sensor viewfinders suck. I've no experience with FF dslrs, but I do have a k10d which is touted as having a very good finder, and compared to my OM-1 it's just depressing. The difference between my k10d and my e-400 is negligable in comparison. If your primary concern is viewfinders you should forget about digital.
>limited dynamic range The entry level Olys lack about 0.7 stops compared to competition, while the e-3 supposedly has about the same. It doesn't make any difference in real life. If your primary concern is dr, you should again forget about digital.
>horrendous user interface Just no.
>poor high sensitivity performance Indeed. Then again, all non-canon (lolnotd300) dslrs suffer from this. If your primary concern is asa64000, get a D3 or a canon.
>can't rent lenses locally I'm currently renting a 150/f2.
>limited (new) lens catalog Indeed, but the existing lineup is of unusually high quality.
