i come to you with an idea. i recently bought some nice slide film. seeing as how this is my last year at this college (i'm transferring for my last two years to a college that specializes in my major), and how this was also my first college, i'd like to make a project out of it.

I want to use the 36 exposures the create almost a 'picture book' of my time here - what i first though when i got here, memorable experiences, and so on.

I come to you to ask you how i should start. I'm assuming get a little journal and write down things that stuck out to me over my time here. After i do that, figure out what physically represents the events in the journals. Following that, would be the actual composition and picture framing.

what say you /p/?

picture related, it's me and my bitch.

I am not sure what you are asking.

Screw college, the OP needs to go back to elementary school from the sounds of it. He can't even form a coherent thought.

Just what exactly are you talking about here?

in the olden days people would have used a polaroid camera to make a bunch of test shots, and then use the slide film to make final shots

these days you can just use a point and shoot for test shots and use the slide film for the final shots.

I would suggest you put the slide film into your camera and then you go and take some photos.

he's asking the best way to create a book of these things - the creative process, so to say.

asking someone else how to be creative is kind of silly

You don't learn to be creative at art school. You have to have the creativity yourself. Art school is for everything else.
