Your hand?

Cameras and lenses and delicate things go in the bag, the tripod's happy in your hand.

Failing that, make a ghetto strap for it.

Tiltall makes a pretty nice tripod. I've got one, it's a workhorse. I've been using it for 15 years and it's still just as great as the first day I had it.

go to an outdoors store (not Dick's) and get yourself 6' of 1" webbing. Tie it into a loop. Girth hitch it around the center post of the tripod - voila! instant shoulder strap

i think OP wanted more of good bag suggestions for $100 and not so much tripods for $100.

I won the item for $1.20, had to pay $37 for shipping though.

I was incredibly surprised with the quality of it, It even has a slot to hold a laptop.

Really strong and rugged and can hold everything you need. I think you'll be impressed with it too if you decide to go with it.
