I really like these. Excellent colours, and the second one is great, but I agree on the earlier comment to the first one - the background needs more blurring not to be distracting.

This is exactly where it was taken, looking south. The "river" is more like an "irrigation canal", I suppose. To the north it meets the Oyabe river, and if you follow it far enough south (and choose the right branches) it meets the Sho River (Shogawa woooo).

It's not bad now. Rains during the night, sunny and warmish during the day. Wait until summer though, when it rains all the time, or uh, winter, when it rains all the time, and the streets shoot water upwards out of bizarre spidery valves.

It's nice enough, though. :)
