I've said it before, Nikon should've done it like this:
FX-P(rofessional)-I (=D3) DX-P(rofessional)-I, II (=D1, D2) DX-A(dvanced)-I,II, III (=D100, D200, D300) FX-A(dvanced)-I (=D700) DX-[noclue]-I,II (=D70, D80) DX-B(asic)-I, II, III (=D50, D40, D60)
Stick the X and H on the end, like -X or -H, although I do think it's kinda silly that they bother with two different versions.
