A friend of mine is going to sell me his Canon Rebel XT and 2gb Ultra II card, spare battery, UV filter, and large Canon bag for 450 bucks. Is this a halfway decent deal? Also, with the Rebel XT I am told it has a fast enough shutter-speed to take a picture like this one I have posted. I want something that can capture images without motion blurr...EXIF data available. I use the XT and like it
I'm going water skiing and I want to have my wife take pictures of us from the shore. I'm a little new to the photography scene but if what would a good shutter speed and ISO be if I wanted to capture extremely nice pictures in the noon sun? Good enough to see the little water droplets and very little motion blurr.
If troll: gtfoif not: any DSLR you get will have shutter speeds of upto atleast 1/2000th.
Sounds like a nice deal. Yes it can, provided you have the right lens and light conditions. /thread
Is it coming with the 18-55mm lens?If so, bargain and get it for 400 bucks.
He won't take 400, already tried. He kind of needs the money but he's only used it like four times. I probably will buy it from him just because then I'll have an extremely badass camera and then once I learn to use it I can take some nice pictures.
>>193001Good attitude. :)
>>193001extremely badass cameraTake it easy now. Dont forget that it is the cheapest canon dslr-series, and it went off the market like 9000 years ago
hey OP, i just bought an XT body-only and the 50mm prime and a 2gb ultra II online for $500 new, I'd say that's a good deal. (has yet to arrive! goddamn amazon) yeah the XT isn't "badass," but it is still really damn good.
>>193084>>193001It's okay it's okay, certainly not the most high end tool but it counts if he's happy with it, which is probably the most important part. It's a bit old, but still very very good for a beginner.
