So /p/, what do you think I should do with my picture? I want to turn it more yellow, but I hate doing the same thing to every one of my pictures. I just wanted to know if anything would make this picture a bit better.

Anyway, I feel nothing good with come with this thread (especially since I decided to take a snapshot of my window rather than posting the picture). I'll go work on the rest of my pics.

Delete the picture. Seriously, it's the same generic angle for a car photo that everyone else takes.

And you should probably think about getting better software.

Unless this is a troll, then stop trolling in /p/ and take your ass back to /b/

This isn't a troll.

But if you aren't going to help, then don't waste your time posting.

the photo itself isn't very good.. i mean.. it's not bad but like the above person said, it's just like every other car photo out there.
and i also agree you should just get photoshop.

If shop is too spendy or if you don't want to steal it yoink the o so free gimp program. It has most of the same features of shop, its interface is just highly counter-intuituve.

Here is the finished pic. Nothing to put on the wall but it doesn't take up too much space on my computer.

To those who recommend photoshop, I've used it for my photography class, but it runs slowly on my laptop, takes up too much space and it takes too long to do simple tasks. I don't need professional software for changing levels and curves and cropping my snapshots.

in that case...
look into Gimp, Adobe Elements or Adobe Lightroom.
These should run on your laptop.

You need professional software to remove the lines, the sign and trees in the car window, the power boxes, and random tools to help remove some of the business of the background which is currently the number one problem with the image. Then you need a decent editor to build a proper mask to make the sky better.

I have Gimp (and GimpShop) but don't like it. I don't like having to use countless menus to do simple tasks. Lightroom won't run 'cause I don't have the min specs. Elements is basically the same as what I have.

Image Suite can remove the lines. (I already removed a couple things- see the original.) It also has clone and blending brushes. It can also do masks with additional layers.

But I'm lazy and this picture is not exactly a work of art.

eh I stand corrected. Point conceded.
