Nice work, OP, as far as the post goes. The photograph isn't great, but it's still good.

One thing I would do... the cigarette draws too much attention. I know you meant to direct the attention there, but it's distracting to the form of the image as a whole. Fix that somehow.

I like the blur. Sharpness is overrated, and here it adds to the dreamy-ideal-form aspect of it.

Doesn't really matter how it was gotten. No different conceptually than using a soft focus filter, although the results of those usually look much better than post-processing blur.
