hey /p/
last friday was a pretty lax night and ended up finishing dvd's at 430am and decided that seeing as the sun would be up in a few hours i may as well get out and get some sunrise shots.
so after calling my confused and tired g/f we ended up driving about 150kms southeast of auck(sorta way coramandel for nz'ers)

so anyway after hanging out in the fucking cold for a few hours taking pics im pretty fucking happy with how they turned out :D

hope ya'll enjoy and as usual c&c the /p/ way.

tl:dr
dont worry, just c&c please.

1st shot is sort of a shot looking back towards auckland and gradually looking up into the sky, ended up being about 9 shots and being about 270 degrees FOV over the top? just ignore the numbers, this isnt the final so i had to keep them manually organised... also ignore the bad blending/metering, it was early, cold and i was too excited to think about it.

enjoy.

oh wow that is lol :)

what part?

to be more specific as you may know where it is, the place i got these is just on the raod from auck heading east where youd normally go to coramandel SH2 i think? but you keep going and take the turn off for tauranga and its along that SH for about 2 mins up a small rd on the left then off on the right about 200M up there.

fucking sweet view espesh on a good day and/or sunrise :D

i think i remember ya now, you got a tamron 17mm 3.5?
>> thefamilyman !!rTVzm2BgTOa
>>156260
i'm down near Gordonton, thats near Hamilton, Turn off at Taupri SH1b.
On a dairy farm like everyone else lol.

And yeah, its the Tokina 17mm f/3.5, got it from Auckland Camera on New North road, near St Lukes road.

a good size ratio for panos is 3:1... so since your pano was 9 shots across, it should have also been 3 tall instead of just 1.

dimensions like 3000x313 just make it a sliver of a photo. it's different for>>156242since you were going for something different.

still good photos though. :)

winrar. is this on flickr?
>> I||ICIT !!mknjFN/v/49
>>156264
nah, i just finished processing them today and besides, i havent used my flickr in months so its got heaps of shitty old photo's on there...

>>156263
trouble with that ratio is cos i was shooting with a 50mm any higher or lower wouldve just been bland sky and even more bland farmland...
