i do have a camera bag somewhere, i dont really like to use them, to cumbersome. But i am thinking of getting a nice little bag for my cokin filters tho.

Pelican case, if you're going to get a case, get a Pelican. They're a little pricey, but they're pretty near indestructible.

My parents (well, really my mother) who has an SLR but never uses it keep it in a camera bag in her closet. Pretty easily accessible but, still hardly ever used.

My room tends to get dusty alot (mainly cause i never clean it :D)

So my camera is usually kept in my camera bag that i use for travel and the lenses are kept in their lens bags with the caps on both sides on. Those bags are then placed in one of my electronics drawers to minimise dust.

Obsessively packaged and organized in a closed camera bag on my dresser.

I keep all five of my SLRs on my desk with 50MM primes. I keep the rest of my lenses in a photo backpack under my desk. No cables or batteries or memory cards or anything like that, these are all 70s or earlier cameras, so keeping them is easier.

i'm starting to think i am the only one who doesn't look after my gear lol

Truth Be told, I keep my camera on top of my amp and my lens on my desk....

In camera bags and each lens in individual cloth or leather baggies to keep them protected. Also have a cleaning kit in each bag to clean lenses and bodies, and a chamois in each bag to avoid sand or any debris from getting in when in an outing. You sir are waiting on shots with stupid little dots all over them or tiny scratches... I get so annoyed with dust particles while producing my final product that I am very picky about how I leep my equipment.

in all my years, i've never had any issues with dust/partials, maybe i'm just lucky ^_^

Good camera bag. I don't have that much stuff: DSLR, two lenses, flash and few other small accessories. Oh and there's few delicious silica gel packets in that bag.

I keep mine in a small camera bag case, two my lenses are stacked on top of eachother so I have them just in case. For trips I have a larger backpack for all my lenses, including my large one, if i need it. Otherwise, i just carry around the tinier bag. Granted, my camera goes almost anywhere with me so I always have access, just in case.
