i was thinking about buying a remote timer for my dslr.

i know i will be able to take some sweet sky lapses with it, but what else could it do with it?

Night shots, dawn/dusk, whatever you've got going with a long exposure.

i'm planning on doing some time lapses next summer and putting them up on 'tinternet in HD, and releasing them on some open license.

why would you want to buy a remote control program when there's a fine one included with the camera, or doesn't nikon have one?

serious question though, cause I now nikon doesn't have a decent raw processing software included either.
