This is true for me in general, I make sure I do the research and buy the equipment I want in the beginning, then don't replace it until it breaks down. If the camera isn't affecting my shots, I wouldn't upgrade unless it gives me better functionality. Of course, right now I'm using a powershot a530 that I got for christmas, and there are little quirks that already make me want something a little higher end. Lke the ability to use filters, or a little more variety in manual. So the real question is, are you satisfied with your camera's performance?
