Fake EXIF info Anonymous
Hi /p/, I know there are EXIF editors out there in which you can replace everything.

However, for the technically inept, isn't faking EXIF info as easy as copy and pasting something to a file with the info you want?

How does one detect the EXIF has been faked if the exposure data seems correct for the photo?

1. Yes

2. One doesn't. EXIF was intended to make organizing photos easier, not for verifying whether the photo was tampered with.

Oh, I see. So I could go around making people think I've got some digital MF back?

Is it possible to extract the original thumbnail somehow?

Have some original Phase One picture now, /p/.

1. Yes, until they request that you write "sup /p/" on your dick and then post the photo of it in original MF resolution.

2. This depends on whether your image manipulation software modifies/removes the thumbnail when saving (most of them do).
