The first one was also taken in Tasmania :) It's a type of 'Sand-dollar'.
I found it washed up on the shore of a very pretty inlet that was behind our Hotel.

Perhaps its a regional thing to call it a sand dollar, which are both echinoids, but the thing you have photographed in the first image is infact a sea urchin skeleton.
