Because SLR's take better advantage of light than a standard digital camera, and I can't afford a DSLR.

The camera has a pretty poor focus, and it's focusing on the near center of the wood.

I'm in the exact same position as you. DSLRs and SLRs are both expensive, but I already had an SLR( it was my sister's and she wasn't ready either for the camera or the amount of money that she had at the time) and I just can't afford to get a DSLR.

Oh, but I wish... Maybe Black Friday will bode well for me... right?
