fuck /p/, i just got my new d80 in the mail and the sub command dial doesn't work. the place i ordered it from isn't open on the weekends. who do i kill first?

Don't send your camera to Nikon whatever you do.
They charge massively for something which could be a simple fix, also it takes them a good 1-2 months just to realise that they've recieved the item.

I suggest waiting till monday, take the camera back, explain whats happened - I'm pretty sure you'll have some sort of warrenty with them.. if they still wont accept it back for a refund/replacement.. then prepare your legal team and SUE their shi-

I sent it to NIKON not one of their so called "repair centres" (third party hacks). They did a good job, and reasonably quickly.

CCD are more fragile than CMOS by nature, ie: more prone to hot pixels
