Hivemind.

Also, a Lensbaby is really just a really crummy tilt-shift lens, so anything posted with that qualifies.

oh...!? umm... Well then, carry-on!

really?

>>251996

Yep. An imprecise, optically poor, and (I understand, I don't own one) very limited (in terms of how large the image circle, and thus how much you can move it) T/S is all a Lensbaby is.

DC did some, but it was poorly and he blew up at all the "jealous poorfags" for hating on his shit.

24 TSE is 2nd on my camera lens wishlist.

shit's trend of the year right now. i've got a national geographic spin-off magazine, and half of the photos are tilt/shift.

this is totally the 70's-style-fence-illuminated-by-a-flash-in-drastically-underexposed-daylight, 2000.

or cross-processed-shit-of-the-90's.

it's a fad. a pretty fad with aesthetic applications, but a fad that will date your portfolio in an instant.

Hurr lets master specific use lens in a few days durrr

I bet you could get a similar effect by putting a cheapass UV filter on your lens, and carefully smearing something on the top and bottom.

The only thing that makes it look small is the extremely shallow DoF.

TS lenses are really just shitty ripoffs of bellows. Get a real camera.

You could have gotten the exact same thing with a gradient blur in Photoshop.

Tilt/Shift really makes me wish I still had my 4x5, I could've done some awesome stuff. At the time, all I used it for were traditional architectural corrections and such, hadn't ever seen these "miniatures" like are all the rage now.
>> fence !!POey2hdozCZ
>>252311

mehhh. i think this is some of the least interesting stuff you could do with a 4x5 or tilt/shift.

and? any tilt shift can be faked in ps
>> Anonymous

>>252412
You can fake the blur when the object is deliberately brought OUT of focus with a tilt-shift lens, although it can be quite hard. But you can never fake the opposite effect - when the object is brought INTO focus.
