Needs more composition. Is this a lomo camera with the fisheye lens?

FULL FRAME FISH EYE, PLX.

Uncropped looks really stupid, imo. So either crop or get a frame filling fisheye

i could be wrong but to me this looks like the ol' door peephole trick.

The shit Lomography hawks is worse than a door peephole.

Read the OP.

Fail. You have no skills.

fisheye != skills
fisheye = cheap gimmick getting old after a minute

Really, a photo that would warrant shooting with this kind of lens is maybe 1 in 10000. And if you're shooting everything with it, you could well go and shoot landscapes with real lens focused at 0.5 m and wide open. There is a chance you would get a good abstract photo from it. But it's just a sad waste of film.

Get a real camera, and start taking photos, not just pressing the shutter on your overpriced plastic toy.

I've just spent five minutes trying to think WHAT that 1 in 10,000 photo would be. Any help? (I think most everything looks kind of stupid in fisheye... Anonymous, prove me wrong with pics!)

I think the fisheye adds to the two shots in this lens review:

and, though slightly off,

i dont even need to make a post about fisheyes after this one. case in point about the usefulness of fisheyes. its a gimmick that gets old real quick and is only extensively used by this kind of people.

How many people shoot skating? Fisheyes are useless for most of us.

I wouldn't say useless, I've seen plenty of shots in which the fisheye has really added interest and helped make it a great shot, it's just the majority are really awful.

I think it's a bit like HDR, except you have to buy a new lens.

Look around on Flickr for fisheye, there's some good shots in amongst the shit.
