Did you photoshop that gun in? it looks fucking stupid.
it looks blurry, shitty and pretentious. His SARS mask just kills it completely.
You can't save this photo.

OK, might go and try for a reshoot, gun was originally in it, but you couldnt see it, so i shooped another in. Blur cause i was attempting to avoid flash and it was on purpose... Thanks
for the advice

Reshoot it.
Get in closer.
Try to get a more dynamic angle (higher or lower).
Try to get more of at least one of the faces in the image to show expression, or try to get your models to physically express something.

This image is lifeless.

Trying to avoid faces, going for anonimity (probably spelt wtong), I want them to look older as this is a school project and these are two students in my class

OP, you won't need to hide their faces that much....
But yeah, reshoot. Like above person said.. you're going to want to try more dramatic angles, just get crazy and experiment and take plenty of shots until you'll see an image in the preview LCD and think "awesome!"
Good luck.

Gonna need more luck telling my teacher i want to reshoot, what about a change of locale. This one is under the school and i was really limited on time...

Shopped in:

Have the faggot against the wall, slightly facing you with his one arm against the wall, possibly half-hiding behind it, while the other faggot pins his other arm to his back.

Possibly make the guy with the gun raise his gun-elbow slightly (it looks more intimidating. i've seen niggers do it in movies)
Now, recompose from a lower angle.

Also, if possible bounce or diffuse a flash. Experiment. Make several shots.

And a BFG.

I shot myself posing for this. My composition is wrong, but it's not easy to compose and pose as two people at the same time.

Try to stay near the golden ratio.
Use more contrast. Focus on the people.
That's what I'd do.
>> Anonymous
try a square crop of the original photo. that will give the impression of being closer to the action, and it will make the lack of the use of the rule of thirds less noticeable/important.

when square cropping this one, just cut off the sides. leave the top.

i think if you composed the picture so it looked uncomfortable and rushed it might look a little better.

maybe a tilt
