Honestly? shit..

If your going to include models, include them!!! dont just give them a tinyy bit of leg, use all of them, or just leave them out and do a stand alone shoot

it was actually a decision of mine to make teh shoes the main thing, a stand alone can only look weird, surreal maybe , and that was not the idea, i didn´t love the pics for othe reason, teh ocntext of them, is nothing, i could i worked on that, andt to use all of the model would be distracting i thought to the fact that the clothing and the model itself can be distracting to the main subject, the shoes. any how thanks for the comment.

tell that dumb broad to get a real job and stop wasting time on bag shoes.

as for the photo, it's shitty. you can have more than an ankle in the frame and still have attention brought towards the shoes.
>> Anonymous
Use a wide-angle lens with the camera near the ground/feet, but include the whole body in the shot. This will emphasize the shoes while still giving a bit o' perspective.
>> Anonymous
the rainy pavement conveys the product is targeted for emo's

goodluck to her idea,

Horrible idea. You'll get too much distortion.

>>229051
the rain makes them look like they are rain shoes...

>>229056
you know shit about shooting models, proof is in the pics you post.

>>229057
OP here, they r in deed shoes for rain, to look good and dont mess up your leather shoes

>>229058
on this i guess you know tons on shooting models, give some tips please.
>> sage !i/euDJmWr2
I can't offer any real tips on shooting them, but those are really, really nice for being made out of bags. She did a good job. :)

pro tip: dont fuck up her dreams by taking shitty photos

alre the legs shooped? they look like.
and yes, it's a shitty shoop to be honest.

also: what about the lighting? it's also shitty (there is none.)
come on, if you guys really want to actually sell something use some decent light. at least sunlight..

They're called tights.

reshoot with full body shots with poses emphasising the shoes.
these 2 photos you took suck ass and don't sell them at all.

i kinda disagree with DC (maybe because he doesn't have much experience with a wide angle)
but this
>>229048
would work if you have the model sitting down or if you're able to get at shoe level height.
get really close to get less DoF above... and center the head near the middle of the shot to avoid distortion.
if there is distortion it can always be fixed with lens correction in PP.
however I think that funky full body shots would work better. in a casual environment or something. not this rainy road bullshit.

ditch the models?

OP here, ok so these people have actually make sense on what they r saying and not beeing total trolls wich i might say /p/ is filled with. It is true we did not have any lights so we thought we use sun light and diffuse it a little , but that day it was cloudy as shit, so that shit didn´t work.

I´ll take new photos i think with some of the advice i 've got here, but you have to admit that the pics are not that shitty to have little to no resouces than the camera itself
>> Anonymous
>>229211but you have to admit that the pics are not that shitty to have little to no resouces than the camera itself

The point is, you're at a baseline level of quality. If you did ANY worse than this, you'd need to be a complete idiot. Expand your techniques and get us something cooler.

seriously ditch the models, if you want it to be all about the shoes just use them.
the white ones in front of a white back drop would be cool
>> beethy !vW/UaE6zYU
>>229234
if the models aren't actually models (like friends and shit) ... or are just plain ugly... then this may be a good idea OP.

someone link him that strobist 10 dollar light box thingie.

white object on a white background = no no

cardboard box+tracing paper.

cut holes in each side of box tape tracing paper to 3 sides, leave front open flaps. get some poster board and cut it to size so that it slopes from the back to the bottom of box.
