If you're asking what camera I'd like, I'd like one that has SLR quality, has a ton of good, cheap lenses, and can fit in my pocket. I think that's what a lot of other people want to, but it doesn't exist. Have you even thought about how much money you want to spend or what you're going to be shooting? These are basic facts that you need to define before asking what camera is good for me.
Cameras can get to be very expensive, if you go the dSLR route and that's just for the body. Lenses for SLRs in general can be expensive as well. Also, some cameras are better at different things. It matters when you're going to focus on a particular subject or under whatever conditions. If you're really a newb, then almost any camera will be good for you until you actually realize what you need or want out of one.
