Selling my old setup Anonymous
Just trying to gauge interest and get an idea on how much I could possibly get for my old SLR setup. I am looking to get rid of 2 Cannons. The first is an AE-1 and the second is and AE-1 Program. There's a total of 6 lenses for the two bodies. One lens has crap inside one of the elements so really 5 lenses.

I have: (all manual focus)
2 50mm 1.8 currently on each body
1 28mm 2.8
1 135mm 2.8
1 80-205mm 4.5 macro
1 80-200mm 3.9 macro - this is the one that is messed up.
1 Cannon Speedlight 155a Flash
1 Vivitar 2800 Flash

The Bodies are in great working order and don't have the AE-1 squeak that it seems that many of them had. All the lenses (with the exception of one that probably could be cleaned) are in great shape and work perfectly.

I'm primarily looking to get rid of this setup to buy new glass for my digital. What do you think /p/?

I can't figure out a reason why anyone would sell such a fine film SLR setup.

But well, whatever......

Because I've gone digital and I haven't touched these in years. I'd rather put the money I get from this into some better glass...

Are all the lenses Canon originals? If no, good luck selling them.

SPOILERS: so has almost everyone else
If you're near a college town you could probably get a couple hundred for them if you split them into two packages and sold them to students. Maybe.

I so want the AE-1 on the left. For nostalgia reasons, mostly. Mine got stolen from me years ago.

The 28mm and both the 50s are cannon but the 135 and both the zooms are no-names.

I'm near a couple of colleges here in Delaware so that may be a good idea...
