Digital Low-Rez Anonymous
Hello /p/. I'm into digital low-rez (or "lo-fi") photography, using cheap/shitty toy/keychain cameras.

I just ordered myself the VistaQuest VQ1005, which has something of a cult following amongst low-rez photography geeks.

Anyone else into this?

OP here. I'll post some images taken with the VQ1005. I didn't take these. Most of them came from Flickr.

The subject of this thread wasn't meant to be whether or not the photos themselves were good, but whether anyone on /p/ is into the cameras.

Cool beans, OP!

I used to use some similar stuff for film...
Not "toy" cameras like the Holga or Diana, but vintage throwaways that you can get at a garage sale for five or six bucks.

I had an ANCIENT metal-bodied 120mm camera that didn't have a viewfinder and that had rusted quite a bit (still worked though!) and seven or eight Argus C3 cameras (35mm) with various lenses.

I highly recommend the C3 to anyone who's interested in shooting with an old-as-fuck rangefinder. It's a fun little camera.

I sadly agree (owner of rebel here)

these are actually really bad. want a look similar to this but waaaay better? use a HOLGA lomography medium format film camera, then youll get the results that are much more impressive.

I'm going to get beat to shit over this, but lo-fi digital reminds me of film. I'm not sure why, it's very often very obviously digital, but it still does.
