Velvia and Failure ac
So yeah, if you haven't been following the other thread about this, I exposed a roll of Velvia the other day and they all came back blue. The consensus is that it wasn't my fuckup, but it's unclear as to whether it was the fuckup of Fuji (I.e., bad film), B&H (I.e., sent me the wrong film), or Delaware Camera (I.e., bad developing).

But after looking at the color corrected pictures, I've decided that I kinda like 'em. They have an old, grainy, vintage sort of feel going on that sort of appeals to me.

These were all taken with a Canon Rebel II S with either a the 50mm f/1.8 II or the 80-200 f/4.5-5.6 II, (probably) on Fuji Velvia 100 slide film, scanned, and raped by attempts to color-correct.

Feels like it should be in horizontal orientation.

My favorite. It feels like an old memory.

Do you have any idea how difficult it is for me not to respond to this with "So does your mom"? Seriously. I think I might rupture something.

definatley like the whole '70s film' feel of this one

Can you do this again with another roll? I like the effect

Heh. Not sure. I suppose it should be theoretically possible by bumping the blue way the hell up during the scan and then "fixing" it afterwards in Photoshop.

I've got a roll of Sensia in my SLR right now, which I'm planning to burn through after work. Assuming the lab I take it to this time doesn't fuck it up naturally, I'll give it a shot.
