I hate gear threads....ITT post and criticize photos (only post your own). I´ll start with this.

I can´t decide whether or not to crop the bottom. What does /p/ think?

What you hate is the overexposed, out of focus wash out in the upper left.

fuck, is anybody else having problems uploading?

This is what I think.

The leaning angle from the left is fucking up my perception of the horizon. The lines are good, but a little akward. I cropped to my liking. You don't want weird things poking from the edges.

This is tedious and boring. It doesn't seem like any effort went into the picture. The face is underexposed for seemingly no reason(mood is no excuse), and her jaw seems to be sticking out in an unappealing fashion. I wouldn't let her see this shot.

Why did you choose the striped background?

This is shot gives me weird feeling. Even though it's right in her face, I don't feel any intimacy. Sure it's clean and well composed, and the skin tones are even. But other wise, its meh, from me.

Is this a 100mm+ telephoto? It feels like there's a bit of distance between the observer and the subject. If that's what you were going for, good job Lars.

it was shot with a macro lens, I was right up in her face shooting it, actually. Thanks for the feedback!

Those are verticals. I took the shot while she was watching TV. If it seems tedious I'm not sure how I pulled that off...

I'm not exactly clear on what you're trying to say.

When I think of tedious I think of something that goes out of its way to be something. This photo is just a girl's face and some verticals. I'm not saying it's a good photo...just not sure it's 'tedious'

When I said tedious, I meant for me. Its work for me to actually think up criticism for bad pictures and snapshots, so in that sense, your shot was tedious.

Thanks for the comments, I´ll crop the bright light out.

What about this one?
