haha i know what you mean. i went to spain in '01 for an AP spanish study abroad program. the flight to spain was an overnight flight, and i couldn't sleep, so i looked out the window and realized you could see the aurora borealis. i almost shit myself. this was back in the day before i had any expensive gear, but i grabbed my camera anyway. i shot about 15 frames with my point and shoot through the airplane window. i got to spain, and about 3 weeks later, we visited the alhambra, which is one of the most beautiful places i've ever seen. i pulled out a roll of film and put it in my camera, and proceeded to snap away. after i got home, i had all the film developed, and i came VERY close to tears. i had shot the alhambra on the same roll as the aurora borealis. the camera i had didn't roll the film all the way in, so i double exposed it and lost two of the most important shots from the whole trip.
