Hey /p/ I came to see your advice! Which wide angle should I get? the Nikkor AF-S 14-24 f2.8 or the Nikkor AF-S 12-24 f/4? I read the reviews on photozone.de and the 12-24 has more vignetting and chromatic aberrations than the 14-24? What do you suggest?

basically if you dont know if you need the extra 2 mm or not, the answer if no. you have to KNOW you absolutely HAVE TO have it to make it worth it.

FX = full frame if I'm not mistaken, right?
I'm going to use it on my D80(I know I don't have enough for a D3 yet :P)

I'd recommend saing yourself a bit of money and getting the Sigma 10-20mm or the new Tamron 10-24mm

if you really want the 12-24 check out the Tokina 12-24. I've used it extensively myself and it's not a bad lens at all. It has the same specs as the Nikkor.

Question for you, OP. Why do you need a wide angle?

Isn't the 14-24 more than twice the cost of the 12-24?
