Like anyone on /p/ can (and wants to) afford that, lol.

My favorite is their 11-22, though. Best landscape lens evar.

that's a classic cheapbutgood'un for me, too. Not amazing but more than adequate and cheap enough to use as a beatup walkabout.

My favourite of the moment is a sears (rikenon/chinon/mamiya/blarg) 55mm f/1.4

Pentax-m f1.7 50mm.

Simple, but it's still lovely.

Most of Canon's primes between 28mm and 35mm

Keeping it simple is the best way to go, and on a crop body they're basically around an old 50mm. They're all good for their respective prices, though my favourite is actually the second cheapest, the EF 35mm f/2.0. For the money it's a solid lens (it's no L series, but it does the job well enough), is good enough optically for most commercial work, and since it's cheap you can afford to take it whereever and abuse the hell out of it and if it gets damaged at all, it's no big loss. I always have one with me on any job I do.

Tamron 90mm/2.8 macro
I love it, sharper and better bokeh than my 50/1.8, cheap and great for both macro and portraits. Kinda like the focal length too.

Also: it somehow gives a different feeling than my other lenses, especially the slight color difference it produces.

MC Rokkor 55mm f/1.9
Vivitar 85-205mm f/3.8

The Vivitar is a dark motherfucker unless you're outside, but where else would you use a tele-zoom unless you did sports photography?

God damn, I also love my Vivitar 35mm wide-angle f/2.8

How can you expect me to choose a favorite lens?
