i'll start with this. these motorcylces looked like they had personality to me. like a toughass attitude.

this one's kind of minimalist and i think more than a little cliché.

this one i do not understand. i took it with my camera turned 90 degrees. it displays upright in photoshop, preview, and even in finder, but i cannot get it upright to post here. i rotated and saved. still sideways. anyway if any of you have laptops and are turning them to look, i wanted to capture the unique shape of the tent and its stature as a structure. i don't like that i couldn't do that without the picnic junk and cars in there.

yes yes thank you i can rotate it myself. the idea was that i can't get the pic to display upright in all my programs at once. i thnk my camera puts in an autorotate function that is only recognized by some software. safari is not one.

>>43222
and i posted one that is rotated correctly so you wont have that problem.

you probably shoulda just kept all your photos in one thread even if they werent directly related. youre bumping other people's threads down. as of this writing, you have 3 threads on the first page.

i know, i know. i'm being an asshole. i'm just so bored today. i'm so exhausted on my job search. every job available looks like the same thing to me now -- inside sales, inside sales, inside sales... postgraduate life has been bad to me. i'll delete my squirrel thread. that has no use on /p/ anyway.

Hey dude, it's okay to be having a rough time, hope things get better for you. Just remember that the economy everywhere pretty much sucks. Find a company you like, go in as a file person or something and don't worry about money yet, then work your way up from there. You can't always jump right into a job that'll make you a fortune. Main thing is to get your foot in the door somewhere.

I'm with you there. Bored as hell with my job, but everything I look at that I could possibly get hired for looks just as bad. Just completely uninteresting, nevermind pay.

Motorcycles on their own aren't tough, because that really is cliche. It's a nice shot, composition looks good, but vehicles really need to be doing something. It's like with bird pictures. Unless you're doing more abstract macro.

try not having a job at all and a hot girlfriend who likes nice things lol. i'm down to my last $300. facing moving back in with mom.

anyway i'm into photographing clichés right now. if i can capture something that communicates a cliché then that means that I am doing it right. i'm the worst kind of beginner. i just liked how the bikes were posed with each other, the headlights leaning towards one another, both black, both clean and new. i felt like they were looking over their shoulders, saying to each other "yeah, we boys".

you are turning /p/ into my own personal pity party. thank you kindly for your concern but stop it. we talk about photos here.
this all started when i had my afternoon caffeine buzz and had to justify posting every crappy picture i took two days ago to relax amid my frazzling job search. the craziness is all over now and i just want any available critique for what i have presented here as photography.
also my babe knows i'm poor and she's ok with it. :x

So let's see some pictures of that hot girlfriend of yours.

(Hot girls make for good pictures)

she always says she doesn't 'feel pretty'. she also gets extra pissed when i try to surprise her with a shot she's not expecting. i am working on this situation. she's the type of girl that, like, doesn't take her bra off during sex. not exactly an exhibitionist.

My experience is that, if you take a lot of pictures of them and show them how good they look in them*, they'll get more comfortable with it. And then, they'll let you take pictures of them naked.

* Note: This requires you to take pictures of them in such a way that they look good. Work on that, too. If you're not good at it, you can take a picture of the Hottest Girl Evar and make her look bad. But a really good photographer could take a picture of Ann Coulter that you'd want to fap to.

she wears a lot of sweatshirts and we never leave my bedroom. it's hard to take a dazzling portrait like that. plus she gets MAD at me.
