So, what's essential equipment to be carting around these days? I'm all with the idea a single good lens is all you need.
Ken? Is that you?
>>85869I found it on a thingy that gets images from LJ. Well, somebody else did and I pasta'd it.Is it some famous dude's bag?

>>86000What's the tape for?
>>86002Tape can do wonders, dear boy.
>>86002You mean you *don't* tape your camera?! What's the world coming to...
>>86013Tape would make it all sticky..
>>86002TSA broke up the latch to the back of my camera. I carry tape to keep it shut so the film doesn't expose. it works wonders-- for that and other things, too.
>>86024Pssh. Newfag dont know bout my gaffers tape.
>>86000What's that plastic fantastic lens you're using there?
>>85877Lens Pen, fuck yeah!
>>86051Which one? I don't have any plastic lenses
>>86051OH! you mean the little one? It's my 28-80 kit lens that came with my camera. It also doubles as my macro- works like a charm and quite well, too ;)
>>86062Tamron?I think I have the same lens (I guess that's why the plastic mount caught my eye)... I think it works great in daylight but I'm hoping to move up to a better lens with a faster aperture. Still, for the price ($50 i think) it's not a bad lens.
>>85877what's the s2is for?
>>86062thats the updated kit lens of mine, i got a 35-80mm with my F60 10 years ago, works super great for what it is.

>>86070It's a nikon lens. The older 28-80 d model, not the g.
Just an extra 50mm f1.8 lens, my sb400 flash, spare memory card, spare camera & flash batteries. Everything but the flash fits in the same camera bag I bought with the camera.
>>86070It's a Sigma kit lens. I swear, best lens ever! I can't find a picture of it on google anywhere, though. :/

>>86153Wait, it's Sigma? I could've sworn it was Nikon.
>>86155it's Sigma. Remember I told you what it was, but could never find an image? It's a Sigma 28-80 with a macro switch/mode on it and it's AWESOME!
>>86156Hell, that explains it. That would've made it a lot easier, I was looking through old Nikon lenses.
My Tesco value disposable kicks ass on you ALL!! 32 clicks with flash AND batteries included! with truely magnificent wind-on action and a 12 month 1hour photo development guarantee! all this for just 32p!
>>86158Hey, I've seen some kickass pictures done on disposable cameras
>>86162so have I, oddly enough.the newest, biggest fanciest technology isnt always the best in every situation!
>>86119It's actually an S1 and it's got a fucked up sensor or something so all the picks come out out crazy from it. It's fun sometimes.Really though, what I usually take out with me is:20D28-70 f/2.8L17-35 f/2.8-430 f/1.450 f/1.470-210 f/3.5-4.5
>>86166yeah i rmember a few years back most of Terry Richardson and Steve Meisels' photo were all done with disposables.they still had excellent studio lighting which brought out the best in the cameras though
