Neither Firefox nor IE seem to consider this a valid JPEG, so I can't comment too fully. From the thumb, though, I suspect I'd agree with sage.

Boring centered horizon, boring blank blue sky, boring black taking up most of the frame, no real subject, and clipping from shooting straight into the sun.

Unlike the burnt sky, underexposed tree and totally black foreground, you have the water well exposed. Congrats, that's like 5% of the photo.

Have you everconsidered trying out HDR? You could've made magic from this scene with +-2 EV exposure bracketing and Photomatix.

you cant even see what the foreground in this scene looks like, so its 99.9% likely that it wouldnt be "magic"
