so the other day i was using my SB-800 indoors but in an area with large, large windows that let a lot of light ini use my flash anyway because that's just how i roll. i'm kidding, i just needed some more light and a little fill never hurt anyonethe flash was in ittl at +2/3 and it worked pretty well but then i noticed it wouldn't fire at all in some of the shots, i was like o_O what the fuck?didn't really try to figure it out on the spot because what i was doing needed my full attention. i was in M at 1/50 and f/4could it be the pre flash sensed that i had enough light and would not fire it? the picture still looked okay but not as well as the ones where it did firei tried to simulate the situation again and it fire every time, what the hell happened?
Clean the hotshoe contacts on the camera and the flash, replace the batteries and if the problem doesn't come back up, forget about it.
