Another film shot, this one Ilford Pan F+, developed in Formulary WD2D+, shot with a Mamiya 645 Pro and 80mmf /1.9 wide open.
I shoot both digital and film, and honestly I just see them as tools. They're just different is all. Digital is fantastic and I wouldn't want to be without it, but the same can be said for film. I used film for a fucking decade before I started shooting digital, too, so as much as I love digital there's also the simple fact that I understand film and all its idiosyncrasies very deeply, and that alone is immensely valuable. It's valuable because I know what it's going to do, I don't have to worry about it, and that understanding lets me concentrate on the image I'm trying to make.
There are tons of reasons out there to shoot film, but that's part of why I do it.
