Anyway, I was asking about a crop version of the Zeiss 24-70/2.8.

If they don't make one soon, I will have to settle for the 16-80 even though it's slow :/

Well, I actually want to find it somewhere — I have an outdated A100 and I'm not going to change it. Plus, Zeiss 16-80 is a great value.
