OP here, sorry about the resize.

The assignment is very vague. The overall theme is "a sense of place", and it's up to us how we interpret that.

Anyway, I took a few more photos today. Critique appreciated again.

"A Sense of Place"? Uni module?

We did that for a college Graphic Design module. D:

A few more I took today. I don't really like these ones...I think I fucked around with this one too much in Photoshop. Any recommendations as to how to improve it, or how I should alter it instead?

No shopping done one this one apart from resize. Feedback on the composition on this one would be appreciated. Personally I think it sucks, which is why I havent bothered to do anything with it yet.

whatever you did to this picture, never do it again.

yeah man, flower pic looks mundane. sky is over blown, and kind of sad. i guess if you describe it as the flower is shitty, its dieing, sort of like the house in the back is shitty and dieing too.

I think all of your pics you are tying to use that short aperture to create some artistic bile. Its not working, good bokeh works in portrait pics to emphasize the person, in this its not making me want to stare at that beautiful (horrible) dieing flower.
