so what does /co/ think about using HDR with a subtler touch?

This picture is boring as hell, but I feel that HDR does give it something without being too overbearing.

All the HDR does is make sure all the details are visible, but all the details don't make a boring picture interesting.
HDR is meant to be subtle, so you've got the idea right. The best HDR looks very real, rather than trippy.
