Wide angle lense for landscpae Anonymous
I have a Canon XTI, and I really enjoy shooting landscapes. What would you recommend for $400-1000?

With pretty much the same max aperture, too. The only difference is that the 20-35 doesn't need to be stopped down 2 steps in order to stop sucking at wide angle.
>> Anonymous
20-35 is also significantly better in terms of contrast and picture quality

have fun shooting landscapes wide open lol

I have been leaning toward the 16-35mm f/2.8L. Y or N?
>> Anonymous
no

there are better options for 1.6x cameras

What would you recommend? And why would that lens not be the best option?

EF-S 10-22

Hard to go wrong with an L. But the 10-22 is wider and cheaper.

how come nothing in this picture appears to be in focus
>> Anonymous
I got a few flowers in focus, other than that me and my newbie self in photography did not put up a high enough f/stop to really get everything in great detail.

Yeah, I'm still learning. At the time I knew the basics of how to shoot the thing, I'm slowly learning.
