Hey /p/, what's your stance on photoshopping digital photos?

a) I don't care about the amount of photoshopping if the result looks good;
b) All Lightroom/ACR options are okay;
c) Just contrast and color correction, like in film processing;
d) I'm the motherfucking Cartier-Bresson!

Uh, I meant photoshopping your own photos.

A if it's just going to be "art."

If it's still being called "photography," and not "mixed media art" or whatever, somewhere between B and C. There's plenty of Photoshop options that don't gum up the photographic nature of something, but are more extensive than "contrast and color correction."

Hm, well I actually dont PP, except for resizing scans.

The most I do is c, plus minor sharpening. I'm very critical of the results however and am more likely to throw out a shot than "save" it.

B, except that I use Aperture.

C if its an event, B otherwise most of the time and A if its an important photo

For other people, A

For my own photos, D

(Mostly because I'm lazy)
