Sup, /p/, I recently decided to get into photography after seeing some half decent shots turn up during AWA, but the problem is I have a rather craptabulous camera (If the EXIF information pops up you'll see what I mean (well, maybe the photo itself)).

I was wondering if you guys could give me any ideas on a moderately priced digital or film camera (auto-focus preferably) I guess in the $300-400 price range.

You could start with a basic point-and-shoot (you can get a decent one for about $100) and after you figure out the basics of composition (rule of thirds, etc), move on to a DSLR.

I actually like that I can manually focus my DSLR. I feel that it gives me more control of the camera.

That would be in ATL, Ga..... Near the Renaissance Waverly. Probably taken around AWA (Anime Weekend Atlanta)
