Sometime during the the 70s or possibly early 80s my grandpa took a bunch pictures using a hospital x-ray machine. I don't know how many he pics he took, but I got a couple of dozen negatives and a few prints from my grandma today. Mostly flowers and stuff. The negs are roughly the same size as A4 paper, some have "Dupont crovex 4L safety" written on them, some have "Konica / AL 8Z54. That mean anything to anyone? Some are black except for the image, some are otherwise clear, but the image is black/grey.

Now I think the pics are pretty cool and I want to digitize them. I have zero experience with scanning but I do have access to a HP scanjet 4850. Can I use that or should I let pros take care of it?

Pic is a scan of one of the prints. No exif available, I'm afraid.
