Casio Exilim EX-Z75

Does /p/ think it's an alright compact camera for the $200 I spent on it?

This is a random picture I took out my backyard 5 minutes ago. This is the first camera I've ever owned, and I'm pretty new to photography.

What sort of stuff do you plan to shoot? I've got a friend who has this camera, and it seems to give really sharp photos.

If it's just something you want to keep in your pocket to snap off something interesting you see during the day, then you can sure do a lot worse.

Actually thats exactly what I wanted a compact camera for. I wanted to be able to carry it around and take snap shots here and there during the day, which will hopefully help me develop an eye for good shot opportunities. I don't want an expensive camera for awhile yet.

I did a whole lot of research before buying it, and it seemed to be the highest quality I could find in it's price range, and also one of the smallest.
