I took this about a year ago with for fully manual photography class at school... forgot i saved it on my computer, thought i'd post.

high aperture (22+) long exposure and your done.

plus some vignetting (fake or not) and all you need now is a creative mind.. is that where you're struggling?

I can see a picture no problem, but my point and shoot is holding me back...

If only I had the money for a camera...

if it has any manual modes on it set the shutter speed as low as it can go (ie in seconds not fractions) and work from there.

Otherwise no this is a trick limited to actual cameras...

It has a wheel on it with different shooting selections.
It can go from 1/30 to 4 seconds I think. I can get a decent bit of ghosting and blur from "Night scene" with barely any blur in "sport"
Of course the f-stops are all automatic, and the camera seems to only do 4 and 2.8.

Maybe I'll go down to Main St and take some shots tonight...
