>>30877 Ya, it is a pretty good deal for the price. (funny small world sometimes hehe)
And one thing I just realized thats pretty amazing is that the flash sync is obviously also 1/1600, which is ridiculously fast for a camera (the D50 is only 1/500, and D80, D2X are only able to go that high when you use an external flash like the sb-600 or sb-800)
So heres a few things to watch out for on the Z-120, Never use antishake DSP, All it does is crank the ISO up to 1600 and your photo's end up soo goddamn blurry from the noise that its worse than if you just tried to handhold it at like ISO 100. Its apperature you will find only has 2 selections on apperature priority (f2.8 or F4 for wide angle and up to f4-f7.1 for tele) so its pretty much useless to worry about that. Also though, on F4 pretty much everything is in focus, so Setting the focus to infinity will generally help you get action shots. and then the continuous shot of 1FPS will actually be somewhat usefull.
Battery life is decent with 2300nimh batteries but beware of the cold! Ive had fully charged batteries not even be able to take one shot because it was like -10 out.
Don't crank up the Sharpness or contrast, in fact i would set the sharpness to negative numbers.
And don't let any water get near the little power button on top, I shorted my camera out and it wouldn't turn on for 2 days once! (I take it skiing, so water is almost inevitable)
