"Spending 2 minutes to grab a new lens from the bag, change lens, and store the old lens" just does not fit in the time budget.
Fixed lenses are OK for architecture, though. But then, my Tamron 17-50 2.8 is as sharp (or sharper) than the Canon primes. I take a lot more (and better) pictures since I left all the crap home and only carry this lens on the camera. Plus, it's light, so I take the camera instead of not taking it.
