See above. :D
Use a light meter of some sort.
120 Film, maybe the other MF size that they don't make anymore.

TLR's have the ability to take awesome pictures if you do it right.

For close-ups use a tripod to focus and then raise the tripod shaft to bring the shutter lense to the level you focused at with the top lens.

I'd opt for the pinhole camera. :I

P.S. Negs are still photographs by latin. (that or prints aren't either)

Photo=Light

In case you are a faggot and don't know your basic latin roots.

/p/ has bred a new form of weeaboo. are latin word root literalists a pathetic subculture yet?

a negative is not a photograph the same way that batter is not a cake. the assumed implication of the vernacular usage of the word 'photograph' is that it refers to the end result of the process, the picture that is intended for display. this is the correct, accepted definition. no one throughout the history of photography, has ever been confused between a negative and a photograph because of the latin roots of the fucking word.

go fvck yovrself.

Dude, awesome find. I'm jealous. Do a google search for how to use a TLR (Yashicamat fans tend to have lots and lots of detailed webpages). The trick with a TLR is to be patient with everything. Loading film, composing an image, advancing film, everything is slower paced than 35mm, but it can be worth it.

Yeah, I'll be sure to take it slow, I have limited experience with even the "ez-mode" 35 mm.
