thoughts? ideas? i'm thinking a model sitting or standing by the log would make for an even better shot.

pretty cool shot, where is this anyways ?

i think a model would perhaps add to it. tbh the log takes away from the shot however, as its in the dead center, and is just sort of distracting..

very true, i was just messing around to be honest. i'll keep the shot angle most likely but have a model and put him in closer to the camera, probably on the right side of the view to balance off the stairs on the left.

this is at my university campus, one of the little niches outside a residence building.

It's a pretty solid shot.

Saved as reference for an HL2 mod I'm working on.

Truer words were never spoken. It's always good to take reference shots of areas for future photo shoots and ideas... definitely bring a model here.

Nice pic. as above the log is a bit distracting.
maybe havce the model sitting with his back to the wall on the right, below the stairs.

You should listen to this guy, OP. He's got a pretty good idea for making this shot better.

Sorry, but this shot could be a lot better. I cba to show how much better I could take it (tickets from Liverpool would be too much) but it would be better if it were taken with a Sony.

k?
it's not because of my camera, i use raw camera 4.0 or whatever and because i saved it at a smaller size instead of saving regular size and then shrinking the image manually, it messes up the quality and makes it over-sharpened. the actual product in photoshop is a lot better quality.
