What does /p/ use for panoramas? I've tried Hugin which was good but slow due to large files and the commercial Autopano Pro, also good.

Depends. If I need top image quality, of course the Linhof Technorama 617s III. If tiny 35mm negs will do fine, I'll use the Hasselblad XPan II. Both with Velvia 50. I need the fine grain.
