>>107762 SD: Low end cameras, no manual controls, but very small (so good pocket cameras for that reason) A: Middle of the line. Usually (possibly always nowadays, but this hasn't always been the case) have full manual controls available. Bulkier, but still pocketable. Cool features like an articulated LCD available on the A6x0 line, which is my personal favorite. Current top-of-that-line is the A650IS, which is *win*. G: Top of the line. Full manual controls, hot shoe, and built-in RAW support (although you can get RAW on a lot of the models in the A series with a firmware hack). Only buy this if you really need something that'll fit in a (large) pocket that has a hot shoe. I.e., if you plan to bring a shit-ton of lights with you everywhere. Image quality is no better than the A series and, other than the hot shoe and RAW support, features are about the same.
