Hi /p/

Does anyone on /p/ study photography at college? If so what college and is your course any good?

I took a first level at PSU, then said "fuck this shit" and gave up. It was a pathetic online course with no art direction or benefit to mankind. Having to comment on 50 students' piece of shit shots week after week in order to get full credit.

I love this photo. Who took it?

Only thing I've done was in ESO, dunno what the equivalent is in English. I learn the basics, how to correctly expose film and typical stuff. Useful at the most.

I went to Ohio University, where I majored in commercial photography in the school of Visual Communications. It's an excellent program. VisCom also has about the best photo-j program in the country - VisCom and Mizzou are always fighting for the #1 spot

graduated from University of North Florida in photography.

Decent program if you really want to learn, but they're currently having some staffing issues; wait until that's worked out.

Columbia College Chicago.
The facilities are awesome.
But there is so much god damn stupid shit.
If you can keep your head out of asses (your own, your teachers, your peers) and just take advantage of the situation, it can be awesome.
Or you can get swallowed and buried in bullshit.
