it's never lupus

btw, HOW exactly did you manage that OP?
>> Anonymous
That sucks man.

I went to some bitch's antique camera shop, she tried to sell me an old FT3 body for 50 bucks. The viewfinder was horribly clouded by yellow fungi. I told her "what the fuck? Are these fungi?"
"Oh they wipe off easily, and they don't really affect image quality", she replied, and then she took off the retaining plate and attempted to wipe off the fungi from the lens, then handed it over and pretended nothing happened. Nothing but fail. I couldn't even manage to focus through it.

Actually, everyone, that is a moth.

Nah, it was dead when I discovered it. What the fuck, though, I can't find any logical way that that fucker got in there.

Actually, the weather sealing works only when the lens is attached to an equally weatherproof body. The rear end is never sealed.

hmmm........ this is rather strange..... could the moth in question snuck in at the factory as a larva? then lived its life in its pupa while sittin in the box only to unravel itself in a caged world?

>> ?suomynonA ??????????
heh, when I unpacked my first camera it had a HAIR inside the lens. didn't really affect anything though, so i left it there. just pretty weird...
>> Anonymous
>>280105
You'd have to be pretty stupid to leave it there, when you just got a new camera. You most likely couldn't even notice if it affected image quality, because you could only notice if you compare it to the same hairless lens..
tl;dr: your stupid.
