Can someone recommend a good camera for indoor/low light usage? Something in the $150-$300 range, preferably closer to $150 than $300 since I'm no photographer but if it's worth the money I'll go for it.

I'm just a loser who likes taking pictures of crap inside his house and posting it on the internet.

Here's me with my Canon Digital Rebel XT camera that I used for these photos. That's a chunk of salami on the right. The camera uses a high-end macrophotography lens and an expensive flash unit to capture this kind of detail.

Just about any camera that strikes your fancy, plus a tripod. You only get good low-light ability in the SLR range, which means you're talking more like $400-$500 and some time spent learning how to do it properly.

So, get yourself a cheap little $150 camera. Look for one that says its lens is f/2.8 or better (lower numbers being better, but ++price. f/2.8 is the best you're likely to get in your price range unless you go used). Then get a cheap tripod (for a little camera like that, you don't really need a good tripd. The little cheap crappy $20 ones at your local mega-lo-mart will do) and learn how to white balance and tell it not to use the flash.
