It's too dark. It's difficult to really pin point the problems with this photo, but I think it's just got a weird composition, I mean, what the hell is going on in the background?

I think if you used some fill flash it might have made the cake more of a focal point, but I still don't think that would've saved it.

...do you know what a lomo is?

Does it matter? There are still weird things going on with the composition, shitty Russian camera style or not.

The composition? The composition is greatly done, what the hell are you talking about?

S'not really convincing...
The vignetting is too dark, and distracts from the photo. the camera flash on the table also does that.
And what's that curvy metal thing?

that's not the flash, it's a light from above that accidentally got in the shot. And the curvy thing is a fork, makes sense?

Vignetting looks about right to me for going for a Holgaesque shot.

I think it has potential, although I think the composition's a little too busy. I think it'd be better with just one utensil in frame instead of three. I assume you were going for a cutting-into-my-heart sort of thing (emo cut, emo cut, emo cut), but who the hell cuts cheesecake with a knife and fork?

HEY! I cut cheesecake with a knife and fork. ._.

And well it was improvised, we were at a café.

Why the hell do you cut cheesecake with a knife and fork? It's not steak, you know. Just slide your fork through sideways. Saves a lot of effort.
