hmm.. what does /p/ think? it was the best shot on the roll.

i think it was f/9, 15sec, 28mm.

I wish it were a tad darker with a bit less grain and more in focus and a lot sharper.

Ouch.

Well, I like it anyway.
>> Anonymous
Seconded on the focus part.

I like it otherwise though.
>> Anonymous

not OP

it's just funny to see idiots thinking every photo should be in perfect focus to be considered a good photo

people who say that are people who never actually shoot good photos

sounds like a cop out to me sir

i have to say that there is really nothing THAT compelling about this photo. it just looks like the stuff that countless highschoolers and undergrads with some ambition but zero talent crank out endlessly. no real subject unless you count the bland un-interesting tunnel and train tracks. lighting is generic too. if you are gonna do anything black and white killer lighting is generally a must. and while it is kinda gay that most faggots do like to have stuff in focus i dont think it really shows any mastery on your part as a photographer if you just print blurry shit all the time - to easy. also if you are exposing at 15 seconds and obviously dont have a tripod / cant keep yourself from touching it you might as well open up your lens and go for a shorter exposure (less blur). the benefits of a high f-stop dont do shit on a wide lens focused at anything further than like 3 meters (in this case infinity).

inb4 f/8 is sharpest, not in this case faggots

this is one of the few pictures here i would auctualy have sex with
>> Anonymous
well, i'll be honest, i don't know what you mean by that

all i'm saying is a shot doesn't have to be in perfect focus to be good and only amateurs stress over that

lol, I like hiding behind anonymous too.

Also, generally when I do go out and take pictures I do post them on here. They may not be lol /p/ro but I actually go out and take pictures.

And sorry if this photo isn't meant for me because it's not sharp; must be too DEEP for me.

no. only nubs stress over that. amateurs think "s'all good brah. blurry shitty image is artistic deep image." real masters know this is all bullshit incompetent photographers hide behind and don't stress about it because they can MAKE IT HAPPEN. though artists(real ones, ie people who aren't photo nerds, but use photography as a tool in their art just like painting, just like anything) are generally able to get away with whatever because their work actually dose have conceptual depth.
this seems to be about as deep as my cock.

protip: not very deep at all.

soo...OP should've used f/22 @ 3min. is that it? by sharp i presume you guys mean that everything should've been in focus?
>> tizzou !!HuouSd+PYUs
>>301137
Yes that is what I meant, but I realize you can only stop down so far and then you start losing quality.
>> tizzou !!HuouSd+PYUs

Or maybe the opposite for this photo, have something very distinct and sharp at the end of the tunnel but everything else OoF with a short DoF
