That is not the digital equivalent to film. If you had to be more accurate, you would specify a particular CMOS or CCD sensor which is responsible for creating the image rather than the container that holds the said image file.

And do a certain extent, the processing software used to cook the RAW. Though there's really not a direct parallel since some of that corresponds to film's developing/printing step.

Velvia for color, Delta 3200 for black and white. I haven't really shot enough film to develop that many allegiances, though (hence not really having a medium-speed film that I feel any strong fondness for).

enjoy never getting any better at photography, instead relying on your your almost endless amount of sotrage to get the shot you need by luck, rarther than skill, then have photoshop to touch up the scene so you can make it look any good....

Ill stick to my 36 exp and talent thanks :)
