He chose to release his shutter at a point when the subject looked bad. Eyes closed, nose scrunched up, mouth way too wide. We can surmise the guy's singing because he seems to be clutching a microphone, but this could easily be cropped to make it look like he's just getting punched in the nose.
>It's not the most original pose, but unless you discussed it with him before hand, not your fault. One could make the argument that not discussing it with him beforehand makes it his fault. Easier to just make the argument that he presumably had at least an entire song's worth of poses to choose from and yet he chose this one, though, which is definitely his fault.
