I borrowed a manual flash from my friend. While I know the basics (like aperture and ISO), how the hell does one apply it to external flash? Do I set the flash according to my camera's setting, or the camera according to the flash's setting?Model is Evacam 400. Anyone heard of this one?EXIF data available. >>52055never heard of itlooks like it doesn't have a thyristor mode. so, you just set the iso, set the focal length and then change your aperture for how far away you are from the subject, according to the chart.
>>52070Thanks. I'm using both an EF and an EF-S lens atm. I know that the focal length on the EF needs to be multiplied with the crop factor to get the 35mm equivalent, but what about the EF-S lens since it is designed for digital SLRs?
>>52197You still need to do the multiplication factor thing for EF-S lenses.
ive used a lot of flashes like this befor. the settings dont really make any difference.
