Hey /p/, I remember see'ing a concert thread where people were saying not to use flash. I've really only done local scene stuff/friends bands, but i've always used my flash.

The thing about not using flash is not for the sake of the pictures. In fact, it's because you don't want to annoy the band members by having them BLINDED BY THE LIGHTS

I guess you're new at this...
You don't use flash at actual concerts (usually you aren't allowed to), they have lighting that would be much more interesting than straight on flash, and you flash wouldn't be strong enough to light up the whole stage anyway. At your local shows, do whatever you want, there's not much lighting so flash is fine.
