thats not very macro, since thats probably the 50mm f1.8 (or f1.4) I do have some advice though
Take your Lens off and hold up the front to the camera body, So you are looking through it backwards, Set the focus to infinity. Now you have a 1:2 (i think) Macro lens.
Use your flash (not the built in flash, but the external) To light up the scene (Will have to set to manual probably 1/8th or 1/4 power)
