I believe I speak for Everyone, Everywhere when I say that photographers taking pictures of their shadows is one of the most uninteresting and over-done things in the world.

yeah the shadow picture thing is about as over done as the HDR and the reflection in the puddle thing.

I can explain why the rest of your images suck in one way or another pretty easily, but this one is really good. Bravo.

>really? i don't like that bee picture too much because of my shadow on the right side. i wish it wasn't there.

Well, I didn't realize that was your shadow when I was looking at the picture. Since there are other shadows in the background I just assumed it was a shadow from part of the bush.

You have enough space to crop it out.

i do, it's a huge 10mp picture too, so if i just wanted the flower and the bee for some reason i could just get a huge picture of the bee if i wanted to.

out of focus but very interesting, what is it?
>>165956
aww cute frog, nice framing
>> ac !!VPzQAxYPAMA

Great angle. I'd have wiggled around so that the person in the pink shirt was on the other side of the frame, though. Too much going on on the right makes it feel a bit unbalanced.

>>165946
Too much blur in the foreground. You should've focused on the plant in the center since that's what you framed for.

Eh

Well, greater depth of field would have helped a lot, for one. Other than that... I dunno. I just don't find the frog that interesting. Maybe if he were doing something more exciting than sitting there quite literally trying to look like a rock.

Wow, this photo definately deserves some sort of praise.

abit of CC:
Try experimenting with cropping.
If this photo where to be cropped just above his head level, then the subject would become the main point of focus for a viewer. With the perspectic of his height adding a sense of authority. :)

Good advice? From Martin?

>Good advice? From Martin?

Nope.
The negative space that Martin wants the OP to crop out is most of what makes that shot good.

Whereas I find it to be ugly - it doesn't work. The upper should be cropped.

I disagree, I like the empty space.
