OP here, I lol'd for an unknown reason. There were a lot of glasses and I didn't feel like moving all of them.

you should always light glass like that, from directly above or below; with a large diffused light source. seeing how that would be a problem, with the glass in the cabinet. i suggest you wait till nightime, put your camera on a tripod, and simulate a large light source, by using a "light painting" technique.
