Film Temperatur k.
right

I wanna know what the degree unit in the specifications of the film has to say.

for example: PAN-F Plus - ISO 50/18°
Pan-F Plus = name
Iso 50 = sensibility to light at cost of quality
but /18° ???

if you answer please not just one line, thx

it is not a temperature but DIN the German version of ISO.
>> Anonymous
18° = ISO 50
21° = ISO 100
24° = ISO 200
27° = ISO 400
30° = ISO 800

I think it's just another, older way to indicate the speed of the film. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Pan-F always does well on my character curves because it is so sensible. :D

Technically the German version of ASA. ISO is both the ASA and the DIN combined, hence "ISO 50/18°". Just that nowadays nobody really lists the DIN part of it.
>> k.
but iso and asa are popular around here.

anyways! thx!
