instead of a smart ass reply, i'll offer to help.

I personally own a Fuji F30, and from what i've used with it, its wonderful, top marks in noise control (especially for a p&s, nothing beats it)
Pic very related, try doing ISO800 with any other p&s

My favorite's the Canon PowerShot A630 (and there's an A650 coming out soon, apparently)

The powershot takes very, very good looking photos. I borrowed one for 2 weeks in France and was impressed by its excellent photo quality. I'd strongly advise that camera to anyone looking for nice photos but don't want an SLR.

I've got a powershot A620, cheap and gets the job done

The Powershot SD800IS, A710IS, and the Panasonic TZ3 are all really solid compact cameras. It depends on exactly how tiny you want to go and how much you want to spend mostly, but you'd be really happy with any as your concealed carry.

I can tell you from actually having one, Exilim is NOT that great. Any picture where I don't use flash turns out noisy (except outside) and in many of those situations flash creates a bad reflection or whatever off the subject.

lug your SLR around
you shelled out the $ for it and you'll be real pissed off when you have you P&S, but the shot you want is only available to your SLR due to whatever reason (lack of control of the P&S mostly)
