What would ASA be in ISO terms?

i have no idea how to work this out, and seeing as my light meter isnt working i dont know what to do. so im using my dslr as a comparism. but then i released, 200 iso does not = 200 ASA so what would 200ASA = in Iso terms

Yes. I think I remember reading that some DSLRs give the wrong number, though, like it'll say it's ISO 100 but it's actually 160 or 125 or something like that.

yea, DSLR's iso arent actually iso's.

as all it is is an amplifictaion of the base iso so depending on how accurate the amplification is/how accurate the manufacturers want it to be it changes from camera to camera.
i think my 30D has its iso of 100 at about 125...

will try find more for you.
