You might not like them though, I used
*gasp* HDR for one of them!

I love 3:1 ratio pics, but I hate the amount of time that goes into making them...

Prob spent a good 6 hours editing these 2 (not actively, but it takes time to blend and edit...

i've almost given up on panos

for some reason my shit just aint getting stitched right... bah...

where is that by the way? I thought it was pepperdine for a second.
>> Vincent
Nah its up in the frozen wastes of Canada, Both are Winery's. The top one being nice and empty cause well its the middle of winter (Its been warm and melted all the snow)

They are in Kelowna B.C. BTW

That second one is awesome.

I liked the first until I saw it full size and the errors joining the tiles. It would take ages to fix... probably not worth it.

I really like the second one. Your Pano technique is unstoppable.

I missed any previous threads, do you guys stitch by hand or with a tool assist?

Love the winery pics, btw, I'm heading to work in about twenty minutes, at a California winery.

holy wtf that's amazing

Nice, one thing that i dont like is the very sketchy line to the left in the tiles. very good though
>> Vincent
Ya I plan on fixing the errors in the tiles (Not sure how exactly but at least make it look more natural) Its going to take a while to do though :(

Because I've had numerous requests for winery shots, so I know I can sell the 2nd one easily enough, but I have some work to do on the first still (its also not a perfect 3:1 ratio, so I need to get it to that for printing on 12x36" paper)
>> Anonymous
All of these are amazing. :D

>>98275

Cut a bit more off of the right and it's perfectly even.
For some reason, the uneven-ness bothered me a bit.
>> Jeremo !iKGMr61IHM
hey, would any of you guys want to gimme a quick run down on how to do these properly?

best focal length to use
how to stitch and what to stich with.
how to fix errors or whatever post process you use

i seriously can't even get Autostitch to put my photos together properly... maybe i'll try pt gui
>> Vincent
>>98572
Ya I liked having both railings in the pic, gives it more depth, I can slide on over a bit to even it out though.

>>98580
First Use any focal length with minimal distortion, you can do pano's with 10mm lenses or 200mm lenses, doesn't matter.
Overlap at least 20% of each pic. (Sounds like you need to do more overlapping)
Use PTGui or CS3 (they are the best 2, though PTGui lets you fake it (with a lot of work) if the program can't autostitch.

Fixing errors usually = impossible so clone tool in photoshop is your friend.
Post processing = the same as any other pic, just it takes longer cause the files are HUGE
>> Jeremo !iKGMr61IHM
>>98613

nah autotstich is just fucked somtimes, i used 50% overlap just to be safe... nope... bah. fuck autostitch i'll try PTgui

Well I fixed it in case I actually sell some of these,
And by Fixed I mean Covered up the inconsistencies so they look like crappy engineering, And are of no fault of the photographers whatsoever..
Also removed the small piles of snow. and cropped it to 3:1.
