Ron Fricke is the fucking man, I just wish he'd have used Glass music when he strayed off from Reggio.

A Dead Can Dance is fine too. IMO Glass's minimalism wouldn't have fit the spiritual imagery of Baraka. While *qatsi soundtracks are awesome, too much Philip Glass music hurts my ears hurts my ears hurts my ears hurts my ears hurts hurts hurts hurts hurts hurts hurts Philip Glass Philip Glass music music music music music music music music music music music wwwwwwww

Also posting random awesome shot from Baraka to avoid B& and gb2/tv/

ew, buy a polarizing filter instead
>> Anonymous
Yes, a c.pol filter would have been good too....but i dont think it would quite have darkened the sky that much....

Ideally, shoot 2 shots on a tripod, both with C pol filters.

It might be my imagination, but isn't this the scene from Armageddon just before the Meteorite flattens Paris?

Either that or the OP found the exact same spot ...

I'd have to check IMDB, but I'm pretty sure Armageddon wasn't filmed on a Canon Digital IXUS 400.

(Though I suppose he could've faked the EXIF if he really wanted to put the effort into it. Seems a waste of time, though)
