"don't use a regular flatbed scanner for negatives"?
I'm not disinterested by the subject. It's hard to give any technical constructive criticism because of the scan. The light above his head is probably on the neg, that's distracting. The lump in the left corner was either something worth seeing and should be better exposed with less of the sky and more of it in the frame at exposure or something not worth seeing and cropped out after.
Use a better scanner or clean up the scans a bit. Also moar, plz.

Hmm yeah the light at the top and the black in the bottom left corner are pretty bothersome.

it's shot with a Holga, so the light leaks are part of the art. Vignetting is the source of the dark corners. I'll share another from the same set, you can see the slight variation...

Also, these are shot from the hip without aiming or focusing, no metering whatsoever, estimating shutter speed and aperture just from experience. The results have a high degree of variability.

I'm not one for praying for serendipity so, I have to ask; why not just use a folder or, say, fuji fixed-lens?

Did you develope these yourself?
I just started to experiment with holga cameras. Im shooting with Arista 400 120 and was wondering what type of developer would work best.

(insert a wall of non-existent "laughing my fucking ass of" emoticons here)

Please decide, are you taking photos, or are you just wasting film hoping there will be something remotely acceptable among completely random snaps?

I've kind of enjoyed using the Holga I got a while ago, it's fun to put down the SLR and play with a toy camera for a while. They're fun to make prints with. (not computer printer, that just makes you a hack)

I have absolutely no idea what you're asking, but here's some advice that might help.

According to The Massive Developing Chart, Arista is exactly the same as Ilford films. So probably D-76 1 to 1 for 10 minutes at 68F...
