And from the countless reviews and comparisons I read, I gathered that they are equally sharp, though the Sigma's sharpness may suffer a bit wide open at 70mm. As far as build quality goes, most people said the Sigma is superior, though it is much larger and heavier. I guess it's the feel. Here's another shot... it's HQ, sorry. If I resize it, it loses its EXIF, which is what happened to the first picture.
