I have that aswell, Well I gave it to my sister, and I bought an N80, AF is nice to have. But for static / landscapes the viewfinder is great and its super simple.
The center weighted meter should have been a spot meter IMO, and the metering button on the side of the lens mount is extremely usefull.
Buy film off of other people rather than stores, find a camera forum that has a for sale section and ask if anyone is selling any.
I just got 30 rolls of velvia 50 at about 3$ CAD each from a guy in the States. No duties or taxes = about a 12$ a roll savings from buying this stuff new. And the expiry is not up on them either.
Also get rid of the shitty kit lens on it and get a 50mm f1.8, Its all you really need for it, maybe a 24mm lens aswell. But only if you want to spend the money (Sigma 24mm f1.8 = good buy, and yes its full frame)
