Also: Some basic postprocessing (levels/curves, unsharp mask) would help this a bit. Unfortunately, because of the atmospheric haze you get shooting into the sky at that distance, there's almost no detail left in the actual skydivers, and you lose a bit more of what there is when doing a levels edit. So this quickie edit that I did leaves with you with a formless blob under the parachute.
(Honestly, I wouldn't have even bothered to post my edit if Firefox would let me delete the file from the upload box, but I can't figure out how to do that, and I'm too lazy to retype this. So what the hell. The trolls will enjoy pointing out how much I suck at postprocessing)
