Am sorry, are you from the past?

Most flash portfolios are basically the same, and where did you logic fail you in moving the mouse to the right would produce an arrow to advance??

If you found it THAT hard, your problem solving skills must be beyond pathetic

the way the photos change are not the problem, its the fact that it takes 5 seconds to switch from one photograph to another on a website which sole purpose is to show those photographies. makes you wonder about priorities:
#1: make cool innovative website in flash
#2: show my photographies

You're right, because designing pleasureable user interfaces is for retards anyway, and navigating a page should be a brain-stimulating experience.

You're the worst troll of /p/, GTFO.

every pic i tried (tried more now) take approx. 5 seconds to load, some take longer. im on a 6mbit dsl connection and never had trouble with slow loading

Same. Takes about four seconds for a picture to load, and the + and - options are already present while loading, which confused the shit out of me the first time. A+ for full screen photographs, F for usability. I'm getting tired of crappy made flash websites. At least a badly made HTML will still load at a decent speed.

When did people get the idea that a website had to be flashy (no pun intended) for it to be good?

Wikipedia, Google, Drudge Report (don't like Drudge, but do like the simple design of his site), Craigslist, and, well, 4chan. A very nonexhaustive, top-of-my-head list of very successful sites with very simple designs.

Hopefully you find inner peace and relaxation through shallow DOF and stop being such an annoying pest.
