I'm a newbie @ photography, but I want to learn more about it, and I was looking for a camera to start(not a expensive one).

I am more attracted to the FUJI FinePix S6500fd, what you think? Some people say that is a good/cheap camera to start.
What u guys think?Buy this one or there is better alternatives?

(Sorry for my English)

no image stabilization, fail.

all of the other superzooms have one, even the kodak. get one that has it.

The reviews are killer for this camera. I'd suggest it because of the price. This is a great camera for someone who's just entering. Just keep in mind that eventually you'll want to get a D-SLR if you stick with photography.

I have it too, I think it's good, I m more a canonfag even for point a shoot, but you wont find a superzoom with fully manual control better for its price, FZ5 is more expensive but seems good too.
and yeah a tripod is way better than image stabilisation ;p

thanks to everyone :D

Just one more question, what u advice?Should I always left the polarizer on the camera, when I am taking pictures?(indoors, etc)If yes,in the weak position?Or can I set it high?

Anyway, I believe that indoors it will not make any difference.

No. However, the polarizer will help protect your lens a bit from scratches, etc. (Though for protection-only, you can get a UV filter and leave that on)

The polarizer is very handy but it is something you should really only attach when you know you need it. Keep in mind that having the polarizer attached will reduce your light by 1-2 stops, and you (or your camera) will have to compensate, usually with a longer exposure.

just leave the lens hood on.

I have this camera, I think it's nice, go get it.
