my photos are drab and dull. So here's a crowd-pleaser. Something colorful and static.

Composition needs some work, imo.

Shouldn't center like in>>118616.

>>118618
might be better if you shot from a lower angle, maybe include more of the doorway at the top of the frame instead of cutting it off

>>118619
Too empty, I'd even prefer if the white space at the top had a sign or some paper on it, cause right now it's just boring space.

Where were these taken, btw?

It was cropped a bit already, the original image had the three boys dead center. Couldn't really do much for the composition since it was taken out of impulse and didn't have enough time to look through the viewfinder.

>>118618
Yeah, I agree

>>118619
Thought of playing with the shapes and making the white and yellow portions symmetrical, but yeah, the white portion looks too uninteresting.

All taken in Manila.

nice shot.

Fantastic shot. I don't think the composition's bad. This is hard to explain, but... it only looks centered to me when I view it completely objectively. Like when I look at it normally, I see the depth and so my brain puts a lot more visual weight on the right side, because there's a lot more depth there. So while technically the front runner's just about dead center in the frame, I don't think he is compositionally.

FUCK YEAH B&W.

Seriously, though, not that exciting. The main focus kid is just sort of standing there looking at you. Would be better if you got the camera down to his level to give a kids'-eye view of the scene. The people in the background are just sort of wandering around in ways unrelated to the shot.

Gorgeous colors are gorgeous. I love this shot. I don't think there's too much white. In fact, I think that the white balances nicely against the rest of the scene--if there were something other than the blank white there, I think it might go from "vibrant and colorful" to "garish and gaudy".
