shot this a few days ago... playing around with ferrofluid, a neodymium rod magnet, and a blue led... the light graffiti shot, was done with a canon 50mm 1.4 and the ferrofluid was a sigma 105mm 2.8, camera was 350d.

light for the ferrofluid shot, was a cheap clamp light, with a piece of tissue paper as a diffuser.

my pp skills totally suck...

rendering exactly the same in 3ds max would've probably taken less time than setting up the shot
