so im looking at getting a cheap s9000, and i found one sold as is, and the only known problem is a broken battery door(it was a return, so its not the original owner selling it, and they cant test because of the door problem). Thing is, i found a seller that sells those battery doors, so would it be worth it to get that s9000 and the separate door for about 75$? Im not photo repair expert, but im pretty sure i could tinker it out.
anyone have any suggestions? Could there be anything else wrong with the cam itself?
or has anyone done something similar with same/other cams? Any help trully apreciated

well, the extra door doesnt come with instructions, but its just batteries, right?
