Sup /p/, thought I'd share some of my first-try HDR images.

They are all taken with a Fujifilm Finepix S6500fd (kinda like a fake-DSLR for half the price), and the HDR effect were made with Photomatix Pro trial (I PS'd the watermarks out).

I've cut half the original size of the images and compressed them quite a bit with jpeg to cut size (have lousy bandwidth atm). The scenery is all from a northern town in Sweden called Umeå, and yeah, that town is pretty much as depressing as these images tell.

How ethical of you.

Yeah I'll probably do that sometime, as for now I just wanted to se how "bad" I could make it.
>>67188
What is this "ehtical" thing you speak of? At least I didn't crack their program or something. In fact, it's completely legal to edit the watermarks out if I *want* to.

I wouldn't consider that unethical. Ethics is larger than just some set of rules; it's the practice of a good life in accord with one's fellows.

I do not think any wrong is done in editing out a watermark from an image editing program offered as shareware; while the owners of the program are entitled to compensation, if an artist can't afford the program and needs it for his work, more harm is done by the artist not accomplishing his work than the loss of, what, twenty dollars to the programmer.

>t's completely legal to edit the watermarks out if I *want* to.
The law has nothing to do with ethics. There are plenty of illegal actions that are ethically permissable or even required, and there are plenty of legal actions that are heinous.

This is 4chan lol.

Anyhow I love HDR that is over exagerated. There is a dude on Flickr who does some stunning HDR in that style.

Why the fuck would you bring up something so fucking stupid and trivial in a thread like this?
So I guess you'd rather have him get a torrent of the program or some shit? Fuck you honky ass nigger

Yeah, yeah there are. OMG at the CA. I was told the lens on the S3IS had some pretty bad CA sometimes, but was told that I "wouldn't notice it". I tried to fixxor it using the lens distortion filter in photoshop cs3, but i couldn't really make it any better, just make it differently bad.

Also, y halo thar>>67346
