I've been looking around for a new camera the past few days. I currently have a Samsung Digimax A400 (aka crap). I pretty much narrowed my choices down to the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 and the DMC FX33(or 30).
I like the TZ3's 10x optical and the 3" screen, but I like the FX33's face detection and small profile.
They both are ~$5 of eachother online so I am wondering if one or the other has better image quality, or I should just save 50 bucks and go with the FX30.
Even though the TZ3 is larger, I haven't found any pictures with them together to compare how much bigger it actually is.
Also, if there is another camera around the same price that you think is better please tell me.

I have a Lumix DMC-LZ7. It's good for capturing people + events but miserable for anything artsy. Settings are a pain in the ass to change around - very limited options of exposure time, ISO, etc.
