Dear /p/
I have a Fuji Finepix S5100 with 4-6 bad pixels. The camera is 2 years old and I'd like to get it fixed (read: parts replaced). Ballpark it for me if you know. Should I just get it replaced? I don't really have cash for a new comperable camera right now..

£50 to £100. no joke.

For fix? Hmm.. thats like $90-140 USD... I can get a NEW one for right at $200USD. What can I get thats comperable in features for $140-$150 USD? I'm open to getting a new camera. You'd think I could get something comperable for that range, especially since my Fuji is 2 years old...
Also, I just realized this still might be under warranty. Gonna call tomorrow about that..

Froogle. But on a second look, I checked the reputablility of some of the resellers, and they're all the sell-the-camera-then-call-you-and-threaten-you-if-you-dont-pay-far-out-the-ass-for-the-accessories tactics sort. So stike that comment. I forgot how proliferate that method of business is with resellers. When I bought mine, two years ago, Best Buy had the best price by $25 over any reputable reseller I could find, including online.
