Posing Anonymous
Hey /p/, can we have a posing thread? For portraiture of various kinds. Good or bad posing doesn't matter so much, though good examples are more useful. Post a pic and if you can, point out what works or doesn't work with the pose.

I can't be the only one who feels they need to know of some more poses while doing portraiture. Feel free to go a bit wild, too; we can just not use it if it's too strange.

(Wedding, EGL, formal, informal, it's all good.)

I'll start: This pose is fairly good. It captures a bit of dynamic of turning and shows off the wedding gown. The face is the clear focus, with the flowers as a second focus. Arm is a bit awkward, but at least it's doing something. Other arm being not visible is a bit odd, but works okay with this pose.
