The only real flaw in Pentax DSLRs is that they won't give them a full-coverage finder, not that it's normal to do so, but it should be.
They've got some of the best lenses available, as picture-taking-tools, I mean: not just top quality optically, but built very well, and available in some unique (and good) focal lengths. And they can take, with an adapter, all the great old Pentax lenses from the years where they and Zeiss were each other's primary competition, and they've got high magnification viewfinders (for crop SLRs) so focusing them should be easy, though the only time I've shot a Pentax was playing around with a K100D in a store.
