Hello dear /p/hoto friends.
Im about to go on a vacation to Egypt monday morning, and one week ahead. And i would like som advices.

I've packed my photo gear which is:
EOS 400d.
17-70mm f2.8 lense.
UV/POL filtre.
And a tripod.

Its not much, but im still abit new, and im wondering if i forgot something? Do you get any advices, or do i need to see something while im down there? Thanks :)

Not sure what country are you from, but egyptian plugs and/or voltage might not the same as in your country. Check it and try to get converters if needed, so you won't be left with dead batteries or laptop.

and damnit, if you get just a physical converter, MAKE SURE YOUR POWER BRICKS CAN ACCEPT 120-240 VOLTS. Other wise you're going to end up with a lot of expensive dead electronics.

Egypt. huh? Shitloads of sand, bring cleaning equipment. A blower, a microfiber cloth, and lens cleaning fluid. Almost more important than the camera!

Lots of Zip-Lock baggies to keep your gear in until needed.
