Pretty sure not one of those is a prime. Not familiar with Pentax's new stuff and I can't read the things very well, but it looks like a 16-50, 50-135 and 60-250.

In general, Pentax's higher end lenses are surprisingly good. Not up the the quality of the 60s and 70s, when their lenses were some of the best you could buy (and still are of the all-manual type), but pretty damn good. They won't let you down.

Minus - they are not primes.

Retard.

Pros:
-Very sharp (although true of most primes)
-Fairly lightweight
-Don't need to buy digital specific primes. Any F, FA, DF-A FA-J will work on digital bodies.

Cons:
-Can be expensive in comparison to zooms

The Pentax FA limited series are considered to be some of the best primes ever made, seriously no joke. I own the FA Limited 77mm right now and its sharp as a tack and a real joy to use. Kind of expensive though (500-700) but its worth it to have one great lens like that.

Here's another article that writes a bit about them- http://www.luminous-landscape.com/columns/sm-02-05-02.shtml

I also own the FA 50 1.4, that's a really great value.

Limiteds are good, but overpriced. Seriously, a friend of mine has the 40/2.8 and while it's mighty cute, $400+? And 43/1.9 for nearly $600 when it turned out to be not much better than the cheap 50/1.8, except for build quality?

cons: price of limited primes
pros: everything else

ps the op's pic are the DA* sealed SDM series
