Sup /p/,

I need a digi cam that can be dropped without it smashing.

I used to have this kickass Polaroid that could be knocked around a little and be no worse for wear, but recently I purchased an Olympus FE-210 and the first time I dropped it the screen practically shattered :( There's a newer model Olympus that boasts that you can practically drop it off a cliff and it'll be okay, but I only have $200.

I'm aware of how weird this post sounds, but I do a lot of rough and tumble work (sadly not pr0n related). In b4 Fisher-Price.

I don't know of any digicams that can be dropped without consequences except those couple new Olympus ones D:

If the lens is not extended, dropping is a short distance shouldn't do too much damage. However, if you are still worried about your sweaty palms, check out the Rugged Compact category at dpreview:

Also, Olympus wins for releasing a 99 thousand dollar compact.
