Monitor Calibration Darkain
I'm just wondering what others do for calibration of their monitor? From the past few months, I just did a basic eye test with Adobe Gamma. I wasnt able to get very consistant results once I picked up a new screen, comparing it to the first.

After a short period of time with the new monitor, I decided I needed something other then Adobe Gamma for screen calibration. I picked up the Spyder2Express, then calibrated all of the screens in the house.

My screens now have (nearly) the same visual results to them. The newer screen is slightly cooler and slightly desaturated compared to the original.

Whats sollutions have others done in this department? Does anyone have any experience with the Spyder3 series, or other calibration hardware?

I have a Spyder3 Pro.
Works good.

The ambient light thing is a bit weird, and I'm not sure if it changes the colors on my PC consistently, or that I have to do it myself when the Spyder icon changes. I think the latter.

The thing is, I have a shitty Acer 19inch TN panel. But hey, students just don't have a lot of money to buy good gear from. :(
