You are in the "Closeup pictures of stuff around my house" phase of your photographic journey. You should strive to move past that phase. It has been done to death already by everyone who has ever gotten a camera with a macro function.

Also: Converting to B&W or Sepiatone doesn't instantly make it more artistic.

ac is right, every photog i know has gone through this stage. don't sweat it, it's a learning experience. just try to find an exciting angle of something more interesting than a boot next time. Also, cropping the buckle was a mistake (imho)
