Have any of you done any IR photography, and in that case, do you have any tips or suggestions? I am totally new on this, but I saw some great-looking IR photographs and want to try myself.

Try a homemade one, just google DIY IR or something, there's loads of tutorials.

Of course, it's no where near as good as a proper IR filter.
