So much torque on those AF motors you could drill holes. With a fitting body, you could very well drive some nails into those holes. It's like a handyman's swiss army knife.

The 12-24 tokina is the only one i've used and it kept up with the nikkor pretty well, not perfectly but well enough for 1/3 of the price.
Tokina "pro" build quality lenses are very good as these things go. Don't know what the rest is like. Probably the same as all the other manufacturers.
