And your reasons to get a D2Hs?
Its a great camera for only very few people. I actually don't know anyone who owns one.

I know somebody who owns two, and shoots a lot of models. he used to shoot more sports before, but is now fine with these cameras. the output images are only 4MP but theyre really nice he says.

you think a lot of D2H users will move on to the D3?
the D3 is a lot faster alright, with better AF, great ISO and everything, but a LOT more expensive. D300 is only 6FPS, but I doubt a lot would move back to a lower segment.

I was taking the discussion actually to the D300 and not the D3.
The D300 will give you 8 frames per second with a battery grip (on the paper - still waiting for test results). Also has nice memorry buffers and a nice sensor that will allow to shoot many consecutive RAW files at this speed. (not sure how many, but plenty).
So unless you can think of a real advantage of the D2Hs - I would say wait a bit until someone reviews the D300.
Also, I know all of you guys keep thinking that its not about the pixels, but you WILL feel the differnce between 4MP and 12MP.
Also - what looks like a superior 51(?) focus areas and a pretty intelligent chip looks really nice for sports.

A D2hs would be a lousy purchase unless you worked in a newspaper.

Get the D2Xs instead.
