Dear /p/ Anonymous
Trying to tap into the interest of photography. I've looked around and it seems the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS75 is the one for me, at least I think so.

Any of you brave souls know of other cameras in the same price range that can provide good results? (Not looking to pay that much since it's my first camera)

The Nikons really are fantastic... shame they don't market them as well as other companies. Check them out. The Lumix are nice also.

I heard the Nikon ones were garbage and overpriced.

And sony has a "high-quality electronics" image to them. It makes all the difference.

haha i love that... Sony has crap DSLRs but sells alot of P&S... Nikon have a great image in DSLRs and SLRs in general but don't really sell P&S...

is it us the consumers or the marketing douches? HA!

That person is what we in the industry would call 'An Idiot'

I think it just shows Sony are well established in the electronics business, but Nikon is entrenched in the world photography.

I've heard good things about the A700, so you're right Sony's aren't that crap.
