Hey guys, first time posting in /p/. Couldn't sleep last night so I experimented a little with shadows and my body. I know it's not very original but one has to master the basics first, right?
I'd appreciate any constructive criticism, tips and thoughts.

Great lighting, really. Contrast is perfect. As a matter of fact, I doubt this is yours since it's that good. The reflected lighting with your hand in the second pic is off. Did you use some sort of vasaline to get that kind of glistening reflection?

Are you kidding? That's so flattering I'm afraid it's sarcasm. The fingers are probably that way because it's hot. I'm not too fond of the reflection on them. As for the lighting, I only used a desk lamp. Amateur fag is amateur.

Oops, I thought it'd be better to keep them unresized. Next time I'll know better.

If you took this alone you're really lucky you kinda managed to get such lightning. Looks cool!

Try to get your negative spacial shapes to interact more with your subject, even if it's subtle it would benefit your images excellently. The subject matter you have chosen is rather over shot, so try to either add another great photo to a certain type of shot or expand on what has been done before.

Your lighting is good as has been stated.

Also this is blue board, which means worksafe. You may want to remove the first image.

Thanks, that gives me something to think about.
I looked at the /p/-specific rules and they said nothing about nudity, but you're right.
