Last night i had a sports assignment for my local paper, i had to shoot a local AA baseball team. When i got home i plugged my camera in and got the notorious "E R R CF" message flashing on my screen. Needless to say, im thrilled, and so is my boss. I lost all my shots.I need /p/'s knowledge on where i can get the best price on CF's, that i can drive to today.
I'm no expert but can't you recover those files?
>>186256yeah, for a nice little fee.$$$
>>186258PhotoRescue PC is what I use. Just find a trial or crack to use it.
I think the card is fine, its just corrupted. You need to plug it into windows.. I know vista automatically detects corruption and reformats it, idk if xp does.
SanDisk has stacking rebates on their cards right now, however the rebate comes in the form of a gift card to where you purchased it. Also Calumet has deals on SanDisk ultra II cards, though I wouldn't know if there is one near you.
>>186290Look around for the other rebate form, it gives back visa gift cards to anywhere.
>>186290I just ordered two Extreme III 4GB CF cards for $100 shipped - $50 Visa Gift card = $50 from Beach Camera through Amazon.$50 bucks for 2 x 4GB cards ain't bad. Here's the rebate formhttp://a.slickdeals.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=87803&d=1207673275
