The loneliness of the swings and the rocky-toys was showcased pretty well imo.

Still new at photography; go gentle! Constructive criticism would be nice; can't get any better without suggestions!

okay, this has got to be my favorite out of all of them. I'm not sure exactly why, But I am loving the composition and color of the photograph. You're def headed in the right direction-- also, not including any of the sky, which as far as I can tell, from the photo above, was a good idea. It's lighted properly, etc, so good to go.

I also like these two; you didn't center the subject, but kept it interesting. There's a flow for the eye to the pictures and you were able to properly pick up on the color that was already there. Well done.

is my least favorite; there's just really nothing of interest there to hold my eye. If the sky is washed out like that, you probably don't want to include that in your picture because it washes out the photo. The water looks dull, too, and it detracts from the otherwise (pretty?) blue that you were trying to capture in...whatever that is.. on the playground.

>>46834Seems a little bit too busy to me; too much going on and too many places for my eye to go. If you could have focused just on the swings, without getting the monkey bars-- or even leaving the bars and curring off the dolphins and the picnic tables in the back, you would've ended up with a better shot.

Good work, though, keep it up.

Thanks a lot! It's nice to know what I'm doing (sort of) right and what I'm doing wrong, along with the areas in which I need to approve. I understand where you're coming from on all of your comments, as well as your criticisms. I realize some of the flaws in some of the photos.

Thanks again for the encouragement!

the good news is you're looking for something out of the norm and different to photograph, nor are you centering things in the middle of the frame. It's a good start! Just keep practicing.

The image quality of the camera itself is really, really good. I don't think there's anything special about the shots, but they are more interesting to look at simply because they're so sharp and colourful. Of course, this is the camera and not the photographer.

the swings are good
>> le CS, c'est bon
It's pretty hard to take pictures that haven't already been taken a thousand times over at the beach, but the third one was neat.

it's pretty hard to take pictures that havent been taken a thousand times over in general.

That is very true, so you have to make your pictures stand out, which is why I think most of the people who commented liked the slide photo the best.
