The camera itself looks normal, but the rings on the lens look kinda goofy. I sorta support the suggestion that it is a prop.

The body is difficult to pinpoint, but from the shape of the flash/prism area I'd say it's a Nikon, probably an N55.

The lens is a mid-90's Tamron, no question about that. I suspect it might be one of the earlier 28-200 variants.
