1/4000?! Anonymous
So my finepix s9000 can do shutter speeds up to 1/4000. what good is that though? won't it just be black?? help me out /p/! i'm very very new to photography so please help =)

In very bright light, you'll want the high shutter speeds when you've reached minimum aperature (say F16) to keep the picture from being over-exposed. Also you can use the high shutter speed with a wide open aperature (say F1.4) to "freeze" a high motion shot.
