what technique do you use to sharpen your photos?
>> $19.99 !OSYhGye6hY

The "good glass" technique, lol
Lightroom 2 has a "sharpen for screen" for output sharpening, I set that to high.

I like, pretty much all of them!

Though this one... not soo much

what did you use for fill light?

Also were you using a 50mm f1.8 AND a 50mm f1.4?
Exif says so...

dig the lighting, that just reflected from the building?

Thanks!

For fill light in>>279861and>>279881I used a vivitar 285hv in a shoot through umbrella held by my friend.

>>279905
I used a 50mm 1.4 and an 85mm 1.8, you were probably confused by reading iso 50 :)

>>279898
>2 centered pictures don't really pique my interest, but that may just be me
Yeah, I usually don't like centered framing at all either. I just took these like that to mix things up a bit.

You can really see the difference compared to a hot shoe mounted flash, looks really good in these shots, If I wasn't such a lazy bum and shot more people shots, I would probably get an umbrella or softbox.

However, I know it would never leave my house. I have enough trouble bringing my reflector along.

Best.

It kinda looked like you had trouble capturing the true essence of their love. Overall the composition and quality are good. Next time, just have the couple dress a little nicer and really exaggerate the PDA.

I thought that too, could see they were extremely aware of you/being photographed but on your end top job, very nice photos. They all just have a really nice 'feel' about them technically, smooth smooth bits and sharp sharp bits :P

wow, these are some great shots.
>>279862
shame he wasn't looking into the camera on that

these are all pretty awesome.

i just think this one just needs to be cropped a bit on the top, too much sky imo, square may work.

We were a bit rushed, racing against the light. All the images were taken in an hour and a half time frame. If I had more time i'd definitely try more creative shots.

Worser than the other shots. Not bad but the others are better. The first one would've been great but the angle doesn't really flatter the girl.

>>279974
The girl's much cuter here but the composition lacks. Still good though.

>>279861
>>279881
Great light, although the first one could use a little more powerful fill flash.

>>279862

Most of these were really great. Why aren't these on your flickr, Mikey?

wait when ppl are saying these are great shots do they mean that they think the "clients" will be happy with them or they think the photos work on their own?

Bridezilla is being a bitch about me posting them anywhere right now before they see it. I'm giving it a week before putting them up on flickr. I just assumed they're not /p/hags and put them up here first.
>> Anonymous
>>280155
Yeah... I'd say that's highly common bride behavior. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't save a lot of pictures I see on /p/ with few exceptions.

uh huh. Wouldn't it be better if it was bright across the frame and if you really wanted you could just add some vignetting in PP.
