My Olympus E-3 has dual control wheels and an EV button. In aperture priority mode, BOTH wheels by default control aperture, same with shutter priority. To dial EV compensation, you have to press and HOLD the EV button, then turn one of the wheels, but the button is placed in such a way that you'll either drop the camera or dislocate your finger while doing this. How fucking retarded is that? Thankfully, you can reassign wheel functions if you dig to the bottom of the menus.
As for Sony, just look at the Invalid Operation button on the A350. I doubt any manufacturer will ever top the idiocy of that.
