Hi /p/!
I'm thinking about buying two Vivitar 285HV's from B&H Photo, because it's much cheaper in the US than in Sweden (I can't seem to find any cheap flashes at all here, except for the SB-600 which costs like 300-400 USD).

The problem is, I don't know what to use to fire these flashes off-camera. PocketWizards seem to be quite expensive.
I use a Nikon D70.
Pic unrelated.

tl;dr: What should I use to fire Vivitar 285HV's?

Plus a second receiver for the second 285HV

Thanks a bunch!
Also, two Vivitars are better than one SB-600, right? Or is the SB much better?

Two flashes will give you more options when using them. You can get fancy and creative.

The 285HV is fully manual, I'm not a Nikonfag but the SB-600 probably has some level of TTL or whatever Nikon calls it.

But they're otherwise as good as the sb-600? In that case, I'll go with the 285HV's, since I already have an SB-600.

By the way, are there any alternatives to ac's suggestion? I can't find that one over at B&H, and the flashes at gadgetinfinity are more expensive.

Midwest Photo Exchange sells both the Cactus triggers and the 285HV, I believe.
