Lol did someone drop it in the water?

A guy i met at the camera store here was in Peru and he lost his whole setup in a river (When he was on a boat getting ferried across)
Paid 50$ to get someone to dive and bring it back up for him, And of course it was completely destroyed by water damage however.

It was a rental. The monopod head snapped off and when the camera fell on the concrete, the lens and 2x teleconverter came loose and fell into the (apparently crocodile infested) water.
