Hooray! I can see a huge difference in what you're posting now, than what you had before. You've been practicing.

>>47832
I really, really, REALLY like this one. The composition is good, and the color juxtaposition is great, too. Good contract, good texture and good flow.

>>47834
is next favorite; I wish the light and sky weren't so overexposed, since it sort of washes out the photo. The horizon also looks a little tiled, but you have the right idea.

>>47836
was ruined by the glass doors. The idea is good, but it's too busy.
>> SophiaLee
Thank you Liska, I always value your opinions! The diffrence of these pictures was I stopped trying so darn hard. ^_^ Thus the tilt and busy pictures lol.

You really are improving, Sophia! Every new post from you brings a slew of improvements, both technically and aesthetically.

Plus, that reflection is intriguing! We need a self-portrait. :D

lol wut?

>>47832
Composition, to me, is boring. The shadow makes it worse. If anything it's not even flowing, but it's too static.

>>47833
There is tile, sky and light is over exposed. I don't like the framing, sure the frickin thing is in the middle, but what about the sides? I just feel like I'm looking at .... well a fountain?

>>47834
Move the camera a little bit next time, and don't use colour. This sort of shot needs to be in monotone for it to be dramatic.

The flowers are just flowers. A shot is just a shot of a building.

Think of something you want to achieve first.

Can't add much to the comments already here, but I will say the difference is immediately noticeable. Good job.

This photograph cost me $10 to make and took over 20 attempts.

I'm still not 100% happy with it, but it'll have to do for now.

Is the camera on top of the bookcase?

Is this what you were going for?

Straight out of the sensor, other than a resize/rotate.

Bought a reflective orb thingy from Big Lots (hence the $10 cost). Set up my Rebel XTi on a tripod in the back of the room. Took the shot using my rebel's infrared remote control.

>>48335
Straight back from the center of the orb. Used my telephoto at 70mm so that the camera would be unobtrusive.

>>48336
Yep

Thats awsome AC! ^_^
