Fuck yes Fujifilm!! Comfortable 12 Megapixel with Wide Dynamic Range and supposedly great High ISO Performance! I'll still wait for samples but I knew if anyone was going to develop proper sensors that don't whore megapixels, it would be them. I want my FinePix S6 Pro in a D300 plox!

And here's how it plans to solve chroma noise.

Also, get some better writers, dpreview.
>Fujifilm looks forward with excitement to introducing this sensor into its range of high quality cameras, and expects enthusiasts to see a quantum leap in image quality from anything they have seen before.
>quantum leap
Quantum means fucking tiny.

Second that. I have been waiting for a long time for an in-camera HDR.

What I don't get is why other brands don't follow fuji's steps, and quit sucking dicks with stuff like ADR.

By the way, I hope fujifilm makes this FX.

From DP Review:

Fujifilm's second technology announcement of the day is the latest development of its Super CCD sensor, Super CCD EXR. Designed as a 'three in one' sensor combining the benefits of high resolution, high sensitivity and wide dynamic range, Super CCD EXR uses a totally new color filter array and has the ability to process half the pixels separately. This should, according to the press release, get Fujifilm closer to the holy grail of compact camera design; small sensors that don't sacrifice noise and DR for resolution. Again there's no product this time around.
