Found an old Rollei Magic and three expired rolls of Tmax 100. I know the camera works and I plan on using the film no matter what, but what should i expect from film that expired in July of 2001? If thats just a dumb question, any stories about happenings with expired film?

ASA 100 film stored at room temperature will probably have very little fog if any. For your purposes it should be just the same as shooting brand new film.

If it was stored in a freezer, it _will_ be the same as brand new film.

If it was stored on a windowsill, expect some fog.

Generally film degrades slower at low temperatures and before it's exposed, faster after exposure and in high temp.

So there's no harm in storing new film in a freezer before using it?

None. In fact I personally recommend it.
