All you need is a bit of metal to make the bayonet on the end of the lens the right shape, and push it out to the correct distance from the sensor (the $15 adapter mentioned). Of course, since this only physically fits the lens onto the camera, you lose the Nikon specific mechanical linkages that give you open-aperture viewing and shutter priority. But who cares, you're manually focusing already so you can live with a little more knob turning.
