I'm a complete beginner at photography. I picked up a nikon D-50 a while ago for fucking cheap as shit.I've begun to take a few pictures but I'm not too horribly sure what I'm doing at all. Does anyone have any recommendations for "must have" accessories?

I'll post a couple of pictures just for lols, any critique is appreciated.

get yourself a tripod first and foremost. any old one will do, as long as it attaches to the camera securely and doesn't wobble under the weight.

what lens do you have on the D50?
>> Anonymous
50mm f/1.8
Flash (and perhaps TTL Flash cord)
Tripod

Also, try to pick more interesting subjects, or frame them in a way that MAKES them interesting. The flash and TTL cord can really help with that because you can control your lighting for a better effect.

I like this shot. What can you tell us about the dinosaurs?

Was this some sort of exhibit or maybe a mini golf course?
