too much window, theres a bar right in the middle of the flowers, its too busy, highlights are blown all over the place, flowers look out of focus...like the camera was focusing on some point on the wall/window instead, looks like there was little thought in composition

The framing isn't done well. Since it's not, you might as well have just gone outside and taken the picture instead of staying inside. I really don't think you've tried your best unless you call taking a picture you momentarily thought was amusing your best.
