I've been looking for a usb cable with this interface, apparently it's proprietary to HP. I've checked google newegg B&H HP's site and all I can find is either the dock or a charger for the battery. Do you guys know where I can find this cable?

Nope, but you could just get an SD card reader instead. Unless you have an objection to them. I generally prefer using a card reader, esp. if I want to continue shooting while uploading from another card.

I've got a card reader...I need to be able to charge the battery, and I don't want to spend $50+ on some proprietary piece of shit. I should have mentioned that I found this camera, witch is why I'm not willing to spend much on it.

I would break the thing out of principle. Proprietary connectors are fucking weak.

>Would you really break it? I really fucking hate proprietary shit like this too. granted, some things that are proprietary serve a unique purpose. There is no reason this shouldn't be mini usb.

I have a friend that works for a car rental company. Someone left this camera in one of the cars. Why would I steal such a shitty camera anyway? I'll check it out, thanks for pointing me in the right direction =]
