Looking to get a new camera.... sd
Hi there. I know that a lot of you may laugh at me, but Im thinking about getting a camera in the future. I want a really good camera that can do all the blurring effects (focusing on close objects, afar) and literally one that is capable of professional usage. I know those are expensive butI want to work toward one.

I actually dont mind film camera's, but a digital would be nice. I have nothing against Film, I just think Digital will suffice at the moment and frankly costs less aside from my initial investment cost.

Thanks so much, and hopefully you guys can help me. Take care!

D50 = great beginner DSLR, since its not really a beginner camera at all! (just the price tag)

lots of used Pentax and Minolta DSLR's lying around too, And you will always find used Canon digital rebel XT's (or new XTI's)

I would suggest if you don't have any lenses as of now, get only the Canon or Nikon DSLR's as their lenses are the easiest to find and have the most third party lenses. (aka cheaper)

Expect to spend over 1000$ on the whole package though, for example a d50 with the 18-70 kit lens, and a 50mm f1.8 would run you about 900$ (then memory card, camera bag etc)
