Sup /p/ I got a little story for you.

So I take this photoshop class for some easy college credits. Our assignment for this week was to take some shots and make a panorama. Me being the procrastinator that I am just went out and took a shitty one of a stream an hour before class started and just photo merged it during class. When we start presenting the pictures. The first of the people to present are the housewives that have no idea what they are doing and just constantly put random adjustment and filter layers over everything. Seriously, the first one looked like she tried to blend the pictures together herself duplicated it did artistic cutout then slightly lowered the opacity, creating the most shit picture I have ever seen.

So then it comes to mine (pic related). I know its not superb but in comparison to what was just shown, it was fucking awesome. But then teacher noticed the slight lens flare at the top.....

Thing is, your teacher's not wrong. Thanks to the fact that optics manufacturers have done so much work to get rid of lens flare, and thanks to the motion picture industry adding lens flare to CGI to make it look more 'realistic', people now think lens flare makes things look better.
