Centered composition makes it kinda of boring, also the relatively long exposure has given you some blur, it could be sharper with a shorter one.

Any reason for the black and white?

digital UNITINU photo of analog audio is too ironic
die in a fire

Blur is sort of related too resizing and mostly my camera. You're right the exposure was way too long. Thanks for the advice. I choose black and white because I didn't know I left black and white on.

why the hell do people always ask this question? black and white is better, it's not artsy for the sake of fartsy, you suck at using color anyway.

black and white should be fucking default.

and op, your photo sucks. how many photos did it take you to get to that one? 3? 4?

Take 100, 200 photos of your turntable, then come back and post.

Another monochrome picture of a still not every day object. How original and artsy. Go back to Starbucks with your trendy emo friends and Macbooks. Die in a car accident on the way there.

It's raining out and I'm stuck at home. So unless I go outin the rain and take picture and get my camera ruined, I'll just take stuff in my house. As for still I believe records move around in circles.

In that case, grab a couple flashlights or something and play with the lighting on it. The reflection has some potential, but the current composition is static and boring and the lack of variation in tones doesn't help; the record may be spinning, but it certainly looks like a still shot.
