these are not good for fashion runway. fashion shots understand that the model is immaterial - the clothing is the actual subject. What details am I seeing in these shots? What stitching is brought to my attention, the way that the dresses hang off the hips, or any other important details that make runway photography work?
these are good pictures in the editorial sense, or for an ad campaign sort of thing, but even then I'm not very impressed. The contrasts on your black and white are too harsh, and though graininess is making a comeback with B&W(for companies like Tods and 2nd tier fashion work), it really isn't appropriate for adwork either.
The color shot was the only really good one - it provides an appropriate amount of movement for the viewer to judge the flow of material, as well as showing the complexity of color and pattern that was used in the dress. I would recommend looking at some helmut newton for black and white stuff, or the 2005 dior campaign(womens) or 2006 mens.
