Hello! bob
Im about to buy a D80 camera, and im looking for two different lenses. One all around one, and one for macro.

I really never zoom, but i really like to take makro, hdr, portaits etc. For the All around lense ive been looking for a 28-105mm, would that be bad or could you recommend something else?

Nikon 18-200 VR for all-round
and something like a 105mm dedicated macro lens

Isnt that more of a zoomlense?

You're confusing telephoto for zoom. The D70's kit lens 18-70mm is a great all around zoom lens. They go for fairly cheap, depending on luck and location.

If he was referring to the 105mm macro than yeah, he's confusing telephoto for zoom. But the 18-200mm was also mentioned and that is a zoom.

agreed on the 18-200 VR

It is still the only lens I have for mine (had it since May). I love the thing. The only addition I am planning at the moment is a 50mm 1.4
