standard fashion shot.

Awful compression, no EXIF. Where off google did you pull it?

I took it today on the street.
I cropped and fucked up the EXIF info.
The EXIF is in the related picture.

Trying to fix the angle isn't the best thing to do. You just ended up with a cramped full body portrait. I actually prefer the original shot (just because it opens up the image).

It's a blurry, unsharp, side lite, ill composed shot.
The angle is slightly upward, and akward.

Why do you shoot sideways? Do you have mental difficulties? If she already sees you taking the shot, take it properly. No, but seriously, the 24/2.8 is not supposed to be a piece of shit, but why shoot wide open in day time? Especially on crop sensor. 2.8 is not shallow at all, especially that wide.
Pick your apertures correctly. F/8 and be there, faggot.

Since this is the only shot you posted, I'm going to assume that everything else sucked, and this is the only one you could salvage.

Don't upload shots that didn't suck by accident. Try harder.

Also, you should also accidentally this thread. It's an eyesore.

oh thanks! I was looking for a critique like this. Seriously.
You are fucking right. From over 60 photos, this one is the less crappy. So imagine!
I usually shot at F8 apperture priority but today I wanted to test speed priority at 1/250. The day was cloudy for minutes and sunny for minutes, also the city is very shady and I become crazy configuring the camera every 10 steps.
The shot is completely messed up. The subject I think was very good: very red lips, intense look, defiant attitude and nice clothes.
the 24mm f2.8 is nice when it's used correctly, not like I do. The 50mm F1.4 gives me better results in my clumsy hands, but the crop factor makes it be a tele-lens.
My camera shows a lot of noise from iso 200 to up. It's a shame.
Thank you again for your comment. I'll save it in a txt file. SRSLY!!

No problem. The 24/2.8 is a great normal. Have you though about getting an external light meter? I use a handheld meter for incident meter and I never worry about lighting. Worst case scenario, I'm off by 1/2 a step, and I can fix that in post processing. I'm shoot film and digital full manual, so it's something that I'm used to.

Generally, speed priority is only useful in low light at 400-1600 ISO, so I would recommend it ever for street work. What I would recommend is Aperture Priority with center weighed metering. Set it on your subjects, meter the face to be +1/3EV, and you'll be NICKEL for 90% of 10 AM to 5 PM photography, especially in this weather.

Subject is great, but it seems like you're too much in hurry. Always shoot horizontal or vertical. If you're going to shoot from the hip, use a bubble level, so you know you're doing it right.

Just ask her for a photo next time.
