Trying some new things, it's a bit out of character for me, but maybe that's a good thing...

Your thoughts, as always, are welcome.

looks interesting, good depth of field

whats going on, some sort of grieving?

I'd be interested to see what everyone's take of the story is. ;)

well, seated and holding hands indicates some sort of close emotional moment

the glass of wine is harder to place

I'd really want to have that glass in the background instead of the foreground. It's in the way, and even though it certainly gives the picture meaning it also disturbs it in all its blurriness.

whos hand is that in the background?

This is awesome. Very intimate. Although I'm somewhat undecided on the wine glass.

Also, yay for trying some new things.

I really like this, mate... The contrast of the held hands and the wineglass actually works, at least for me.

I guess... Mebbe it's just how I view things, but, it seems like more of two friends, maybe even lovers of some sort... Who haven't met for a long time, and now they've finally met again, but it can't be for long. So they're happy, but grieving at the same time.

... Heh, I guess I just look like a hopeless romantic now, huh?

This was one of the pictures in my daily photojournal. The subjects were my mother and her boyfriend, my mom's holding the wine. They're very much in love, it's pretty obnoxious at times, heh.

More handcentric portraits?
