I love the airlines.

I love sitting in an Airport for 6 hours to be told your flight is canceled.

I love that while you didn't get a seat on the plane, your luggage did.

I love being told to come back at 430am.

I took a flight to Phoenix with my dog from Orlando once. Got to Phoenix to find out my dog is still sitting on the runway in Orlando in her kennel. Needless to say, I got four roundtrip first-class tickets.

Yes, they left vignettedog on the runway.

>> Depressed Cheesecake !wFh1Fw9wBU

No, she can hold her bladder for almost a whole day. I used one ticket to return to Phoenix a few months ago, still have the three remaining ones, though.

if they didnt stick a mile limit on them make em pay to fly you somewhere fun, hell I bet you if you could find a hotel in China you could do the Olympics fairly cheap if you had the plane covered

Last Christmas, I missed a connecting flight at JFK, and Charles de Gaule. Had to spend both days sleeping in airports.

On the other hand, I shot some, without getting caught.

Here is my fucking dinner in Paris.

Also, they sent one of my bags to Zürich, while I slept in NY ($150).
Fuck.
I hate flying.
It took 2 weeks to get my luggage at my final destination.
OP, did you do any shooting while waiting?

On my way back, there were a really obnoxious group of students that were pissing everyone off. I pretended to be French, but could help snickering at how they played to every American stereotype in the book.

This dude was unflappable.

When I was in Paris, they politely made me put my camera away multiple times (different people) because the Airport was under construction.

The security people were very suspicious that my carry-on messenger was full of camera equipment.

is film OK to go through x-ray??
>> Depressed Cheesecake !wFh1Fw9wBU
>>191520
X-ray equipment used to inspect carry-on baggage uses a very low level of x-radiation that will not cause noticeable damage to most films. However, baggage that is checked (loaded on the planes as cargo) often goes through equipment with higher energy X rays and will fog and ruin film
>> Anonymous
>>191522
soo... how to transport film??
I guess just put it in check-in luggage?
no special bags or anything?
>> Anonymous
>>191525
oops i meant carry-on luggage
>> Anonymous
>>191525
Yes. While it probably isn't necessary, you can and should ask them to hand-inspect your carryon with film in it instead of running it through the machine. They'll do it in most first-world countries, and it'll just take another minute or two.
>> thefamilyman !!rTVzm2BgTOa
>>191520
baggage inspection x-ray machines are guaranteed by the manufactures to be safe up to ISO-3200 (including pushed film above 3200).

i've been to over 2 dozen different airports around the word including military airports in Italy and China, without any problems. except i found out that you cannot take on alcohol on domestic flights within china. The worst experience would only be stuck in Frankfurt airport for 6hrs but its such a boring airport!!!

Some sort of solid fish paste, and the driest Brie in France.
>> Anonymous
just ask them to hand check it . . .lern airline rules there a heap of shit to do with camera stuff and planes . . look up there terms and conditions . . .not hard and if they question it have a print out of it to throw in there face

Great bokeh with that 50mm 1.8. Looks delicious.

They hate doing it, though. Every time I come back home with a bag full of film (25+ rolls usually), the TSA folks always give me dirty looks as they hand-check it all. No matter what film it is, I always ask them to hand-check it, so I don't risk anything. I guess it's an obsessive compulsive thing.

I spent 22hrs in KL int in Malaysia. Not so bad since we got a visa and went on a giant taxi trip round the capital, appart from my undying hate of Malaysia (not malaysians).

I dont remember much trouble with baggage, i do remember flying from Auzfailia to the UK and the plane lost 2 engines (747) before getting to sing, so we had to turn back.
