welcome to the exercise of picking apart a really good picture...

color in that small gap where there is no color at the top of the frame.

great pic.

oh yeah, needs moar lens flare and HDR.
>> pskaught
looks like three sources? two next to each other and a third behind, what did you use?

ahh yeah, that gap was bothering me. Okay it is filled.

Lens Flare added. HDR enacted.

Seriously though, thanks. The gap has been filled. Oh and again thanks to you i'm getting my arse out to IKEA and getting some lighting setup. No need to splurge on pro equipment...

what's pissing me off is that the stuff you listed costs about 3 times more here in Sydney...bah

Believe it or not this is ONE SB-800. I had a lightsphere II on it and fired it wireless via CLS arms length above camera which bounced off the soft netted ceiling (to prevent ballons getting popped by the ambient club lighting)

Oh this was just taken at a birthday party, my gf helped to collect the dozens of ballons and she was sitting to have a rest, that's when took the shot.

The upper right corner ballons has had it's flash reflection cloned out because it just didn't look uniform with the rest.

i like it.

This is where it was...my lady hiding behind the ballons...she might have been falling asleep, this was about 2am if i remember correctly

I have a habit of shooting friend's birthdays, one of those presents that not many people can give.

That's a great shot man, the surroundings worked for ya, the light colored ceiling and those silvery walls added as reflectors on the side maybe? Good job on making it work for you.

I can't. Everything is amazing. The only thing that looks weird is the look between her hair and the green balloon top left but that might be because I am tired. Hell if it were bigger, I would use it for my wallpaper.

you got the joeyL look going on there, lol

My friend just asked me why her pupils were huge and I replied "Shes rolling balls man!". We had a good chuckle.

Here ya go, at 1280 width. And you're right about the ballon on the top right corner, that's the one you're talking about right? i think i got a bit too zealous with the clone tool trying to get rid of hairs here and there and the light reflection i didnt like... i've gone over it a little with the heal tool but i think i need to do a proper job on it.

>>95707

Holy shit... i just noticed that too i thought i had a fast shutter speed... the lighting at the club was very very low... i guess all clubs are.

>>95708

hehe yeah, she just had the chop for the mia farrow look, i think her agency encouraged her to go for the Agyness Deyn look... so she'll go platinum blonde soon... even though she just coloured it darker...bah

I'm kind of jealous of this shot, I must admit. Now to top it off, tweek her eyes so they match, print it, frame it and put it on the wall.
>> Jeremo !iKGMr61IHM
>>95714

Wow. Coming from you that means alot to me man :D

I appreciate the CC that's been given, with you and OPPFOR seeing it differently and helping me to improve the shot. I didn't even notice the eyes weren't matching.

Cheers again.

The colors are great, how did you get this with your D70? The colors on my look really different

this is pretty great. one of the best things posted to /p/ in months, and the best thing i've ever seen from you, jeremo.

Play around with layers, i don't have a set of actions if that's what you mean. I usually play with duplicates and either soft light or hard light and screen, change the opacity of that layer or use a layer mask. Obviously depending on the image, it'd require different processing.

And sometimes it just depends on what mood i'm in :D

>>96234

Cheers big ears, I havent really posted that many images to be memorable have i? or were my previous ones that awful this stands out even more? haha.

I keep coming back to this thread every day.
I love this picture
>> Jeremo !iKGMr61IHM
Hey thanks alot :)

Who knew kind words from 4chan would encourage me to do more creative stuff eh? I probably should save the thread so I can be reminded that /p/ is the last vestige of reason here.

sage as not to bump my own thread and seem like a whore.
