Other significant differences are high-ISO performance, one stop higher base ISO, color output (D300 is notably better), 14-bit (versus 12-bit) raw, forty more focusing points, better autofocusing overall, better weathersealing, and live view.
So this is one of the few camera body upgrades that are actually worth something.
