OP: Great shot. It's nice to see some cycling photography here, and it's a genuinely good image. This wouldn't look out of place in Velonews or Rouleur.
My one critique is the tone. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is straight grayscale, right? That is, not toned in any way. It's just a matter of personal preference, but I really thing b&w looks better if toned in some way. I guess it's a holdover from my silver printing days.
Anyway, here's a version of your shot toned with the duotone I use for all my stuff. I like it better this way, though you may disagree. Just a matter of personal preference.
