yes, I enjoy it

No, not awesome at all. The crux of your image is tonality between light and dark. However, there is very little to be seen except for too bright and too dark. I would suggest to either take this at a different time of day or find other foliage that more translucent than reflective.

Opinions are welcome, believe it or not

It's alright. Decent composition, nice separation, good light, even a decent use of flare. But nothing too special on its own. Could definitely fit in well in a series of images, perhaps, but I think it's a little weak by its lonesome.

The only thing I don't like is the shallow DOF. If it had everything in focus, it would be great.

Oh, you mean a P-P-P-Powershot?

Acutally, it's a very solid shot.

How do you like shooting with the XT? I just picked one up on ebay, how long you had yours for?
>> Anonymous
I actually like the first picture more, the lens flare, while a little cliche is totally boss. I really like the DoF, what lens was this taken with?

I second this entirely. Photographers need to think more about their editing, not Photoshop editing, but presentation.

Some photographs are short stories, they stand cohesively on their own. If they're put with other short stories, it's in a thematic collection.

Others are chapters in a book. They won't stand on their own at all, they'll seem pathetic, even disjointed. But with the right other chapters, they can come together and tell a great story. And just like in a novel, superfluous chapters, even if well done but especially if they're inferior, that add nothing often can take away from the good bits.

Had mine for a few months now, enjoy shooting with it, only real downside I can think of is the lens which I've felt on a few occasions is inadequate. And sooner or later I'll yearn for a full format and possibly a few more megapixels. But hey, for 300 euros it was a bargain.

18-55 kit lens.

Well spoken, I'll make sure to keep that in mind.
