So the place I work at has a lost and found and there has been a camera in it for a few months now.Policies are if its unclaimed for 3 months its up for grabs by employees, so I snagged that shit up.I dont know if its any good or not tho, the battery dies really fast but takes some decent photos. The camera is called Canon PowerShot S410 and I took this pic of my dog with it.I dont know anything when it comes to cameras so I thought id ask you. What you guys think? Good camera or should I sell to a friend?EXIF data available. I've had the Powershot S400 for quite a few years. These particular cameras are pretty reliable and have pretty good image quality. I'd recommend getting a replacement battery that keeps the charge and there will be no worries.
keep it. it's not professional grade, but it's a solid camera.look at it this way. you wouldn't buy a gibson les paul if you're learning to play guitar.
Free camera == good cameraIf you use it, its a good camera. Enjoy taking pictures and think of it as a free trial.
If it is free, it doesn't matter what camera you are using.
