That's a very open-ended quesiton. Unfortunately, even if you budget was infinite, there is no such thing as a "best" camera.
A good camera depends on what you want to use it for, what you expect from it, and how much you can spend.
For $200, you have quite a few options, it all depends on what you want to do. You can get quite a few point-and-shoot digitals in that price range that will be great for snapshots. You can also get quite a few older 35mm SLRs that would be excellent, super-flexible, professional quality cameras to learn on. You could even get a medium or large format camera that would provide you with exceptional image quality and as much room to grow as you could ever use.
So I guess what I'm trying to say is what exactly do you mean by 'daily use'?
