At last, we can post again...

Right,

Spent the day trying to get over my hesitance to get close with street shots, So left my prime at home, and headed into town with my shitty kit lens, left it on 18mm all day, forcing me to get up close and personal.

Quite happy with how I improved, after half a hour or so i wasnt even thinking twice about it.

Anyway, here are the best 3 of the day, C&C?

Pretty sharp, im suprised at the performance. nice.

Regarding the photos, they arn't to interesting. But I applaud you for overcoming the fear of snapping random people in the streets. I know I can't get the courage to do it myself.

If you get a tripcode - we'll be able to see how you progress each time in future posts.

As the tripfag mentioned, they're not all *that* interesting, but I still like them. The biggest criticism I have is that there is too much whitespace above the subjects, which would've been better spent on your subjects' legs. Also, could you post the third picture in color? I think it might work better as such, at least if the make up was as bad as you say.

Thanks for the input, ill tripfag up at some point.

>>262838

not me!

>>262839

Thanks for your input, care to show your superior shots?

>>262848

Thanks, and i agree, i should have shot more of the legs and path, ill keep it in mind for next time

Also, heres the colour version of the third pic, no post production at all apart from a crop to get rid of the "GREGGS" sign above her head

I like it how you photograph only the old people because they cant fight you back in the case they don't like some random guy taking their photo.

As for the photos, they are snapshots of people on the street.

>>262870

Not at all, they are just more interesting, somehow i find it hard to want to take photo of your average 15 year old in the exact same tracksuit as the 7 next to him.

But yes, i do avoid taking photos of the type of people who are likely to kick your head in for simply been alive, let alone taking there photo. Try moving to shitty places in england, see how long it takes for that way of thinking to get your ass handed to you
>> Anonymous
seriously, having an old person in the photo doesn't make it good lol, but I guess the composition is good except for the last one.

whereabouts in england are you?

the fully manual ones make less noise, still more than a leica, but its still pretty minimal and your footsteps, general noise and "oh look a guy is pointing a camera at me" will call more attention than the click.

Hotshoe viewfinder and mirror lock up?

On topic, your shots aren't very interesting, but neither are they complete rubbish and they're rather sharp, which is good.

They paved all the town center (the one street), put in retarded bench's that have holes in, and put in fountains.... wich is basicly jets of water, in random places, on un even floor........

Its a shit hole, everyone knows its a shit hole, why try to hide it?
