I need a shutter release for my Nikon D80 but don't know where to look. Is there any good site online that sells them? I got a cable release but I don't think it's compatible with the camera.

It only takes IR or electronic cable releases.
There are cheap ways to do it with PDAs, if you've got one. I use my palm iii with my D70

Their is another way if you dont have a PDA. You can use the self timer. That is what I do with my D2h and even my minolta X-700 slr. On my D2h, I have changed the self timer in the menu to 2 seconds and it really seems to work well. Hope this helps.
