eh, it's alright. i don't like her expression, or the composition. lighting's adequate.

then again, it's just my personal preference. i'm not really into commercial-style lighting, so i'm bound to be a little biased against this. other folks on /p/ will probably love this, and they'd be right to do so.

im sorry but where did you or that model get that jacket >_>

I love the photos btw

Fair enough. I'm working fashion photography so the lighting and the studio scene are often required with the trade.

keep the muslin (backdrop) OOF if you can. Its a tad distracting.

First shot is the best IMO, however little about it excites me.. Good fill on the light though, maybe move the lights closer in order to underexpose the backdrop a bit

I like the lighting. Nice and soft without being detracting too much.

>>131947

My fav.

The lighting is good, but try to adjust the positioning of the lights / photographer to get rid of reflections on the sunglasses and eyes of your models as it gives your shots an amateur-ish look. Plus, you're losing a lot of details in your darks (especially around the neck area) so you might want to adjust the exposure a few stops with whatever method works best for you.

I also agree with the comment that suggested blurring out the background as it's interesting, but distracting.

I liked the second model a lot more as the first was boring as the pictures didn't really do that much to excite me.

Keeping the lights in the eyes was intentional.

Get out of this thread. You have no place here unless you post some of your own relevant pictures.
Put up or shut the fuck up most definitely applies here.

For the first image it hasnt worked, for this one its working but try shooping it to be a cleaner spot of whight, at the moment its quite a mess from the supports.

The first few seem quite soft to me as well, soft in an out of focus way.

I don't like. There's just too much nothing. Maybe a closeup of his face while he's biting that sandwich. And then extreme unsharp mask.

>>132020
This one just looks stupid.

>>132023

may sound like an asshole, but I agree with him/her. I don't get the feeling that the light was left in there intentionally. If so, what exactly says that to you, /p/? I find being able to see the umbrella and softbox in her sunglass lenses to be very distracting.

If it was indeed intentional, then what were you trying to achieve with letting us see your lighting setup as I'm confused about that.

oh hi, i made your image better

The lighting is adequate, but completely boring and unremarkable.

Your backdrop is a Lovecraftian horror.

If you are doing a "fashion" shot then, I need to see more detail on the threads of this jacket. This picture seems too "blah".

it looks absurdly contrasty and unrealistic. You have turned a picture of a human being into a computerized image that looks excessively photoshopped - the image no longer resembles a photograph.
