I was actually surprised how much detail you can get from a 200mm lens

IT. DOES. NOT. WORK. CORRECTLY. IN. AUTO. MODE.
ROUGHLY. 50%. OF. THE. TIME.
BECAUSE. IT. METERS. POORLY.
IN. COMPLICATED. LIGHTING. SITUATIONS.
WHICH. MEANS. I. HAVE. TO. USE. IT. IN. MANUAL. MODE.
FOR. ANYTHING. OTHER. THAN. BASIC. INDOOR. SNAPSHOTS.

did you crop this? i can't get that close even with a 300mm on a half-frame camera.

Not really sure WHAT YOU ARE SAYING, couldnt hear much throgh the shouts. It is metered in manual mode, and the thing about TTL was just a joke, obviously I did not use a flash.

Foca, yes it is cropped a lot. I have a 1.5 crop factor on the camera (makes it 300mm lens) and then cropped again in photoshopped and sharpened carefully. I wanted to make it look less 'flat' somehow which didn't really work this time. (I was thinking that darkening the edges will work).
