I just bought a used canon 60mm macro lens.

It is (supposedly) in perfect condition, comes with the hood, a little canon lens bag, a year left on the warranty, and six months of in store warranty. Also the original box and all original packaging and papers.

I paid around 320 dollars. Did I do good?

If you like the lens, yeah.

If it works and you like it then it's a good deal.

I haven't had the chance to try it out yet.

And I can't find any used versions online to compare the price to.

Check eBay and similar places to see what they are going for. As you've bought it already, maybe you shouldn't look incase you see a lower price and just be happy with it. ;)

I'm v impressed with the moth!

I had those in my garden once, but it was before I had a DSLR so I had no hope. They're scary as fuck when you shine a light down the garden and see about 20 little eyes reflecting it back at you!

I like the new bug pictures. Maybe a little more soft and even lighting would be worth trying. Clearly a worthwhile purchase for you, good to see you enjoying it.

Were they all hand held shots? You've got a steady hand. Always a plus for work like that if you don't have the shakes.

well photography is just a hobby for me, I'm actually an illustration student.

A plus for this is that my hands have to be very steady, so that is a happy thing for photos.
