>>234846 having seen the innards of the old yashica tlrs, I can say with confidence they they're comparably fragile. I had a cable release nipple on my yashica 44 and I set it down on the road next to me to meter with my nikon, it rolled over onto the front and the nipple ripped out the shutter release. The front and sides are VERY thin metal on the old ones. Prices being what they are, if I wanted something cheap, I'd buy a new seagull 107 off b&h. Otherwise I'd be inclined to get an RB67 or a C330. The problem with the e-bay snipers is they put rediculous max bids on their snipes, so even if my bid goes in last, I still couldn't make a 500$ bid on a 300$ camera, which is what it appears to take on some of these auctions.
