And potentially your shutter, depending on the type of camera you have.

I give it to my camera to my brother to mess around with, these are the only two of the sun he took. It won't be messed up after two shots will it?

oh and I have a UV lense on would that make any difference?
>> Anonymous
>>168034
uv filter cuts out the ultraviolet light, making the infrared and visible spectrum of light all the more powerful, and it also acts a a magnifying lens to create a small pinhole burn on your sensor. you better get a new cam!

Wow, this is wierd..

I don't think it would - but just watch it to see if lines start to appear or colors are misrepresented.

Next time tell him to stop fucking around.
>> Anonymous
Yea I will do, he blinded himself as well so fucking owned there. The camera seems to be fine, although I have a 2 year warranty so alls good!
>> Anonymous
yea just take it back if theres any problems and they should fit a new sensor if anythings wrong with it
>> Anonymous
oh and if my sensor was fucked would the results show up straight away? cos ive taken about 100 photos and they all seem fine.

Definately would.
I've heard of people damaging sensors this way, although seen no proof myself.

If the sensor breaks or gets damaged, just delete the pictures, deny what happened and your sensor should be fine again.
