Nice score. Especially since I doubt plus-x is long for this world.

really?
I've never seen plus-x in any shops where I live, the only had FP4+. It's never been a really popular film around here, but I dont see why Kodak would discontinue it.

because kodak's discontinuing a lot of film at an astonishing rate, because kodak wants to go from a top tier film manufacturer to a bottom tier pocket digicam "manufacturer", because making cameras out of third party parts is easier and cheaper than making film, because kodak's management is comprised of idiots.

They just introduced TMAX400-2, I wonder if they would discontinue the brother of the legendary tri-x

I wouldn't doubt it. They've axed a lot of classic films. Kodachrome, for instance.

oh well, Kodachrome development facilities were the biggest problem I think. I think Plus-X will go on for long, it's not obsolete at all.

Kodachrome was a completely different process from every other slide film, so it wasn't cost-effective (most pros were using ektachrome or velvia anyway).

The film I really regret them discontinuing was tech pan, which was awesome.
Most of the better camera stores I've seen still turn over a good stock of Plus-X and Tri-X, at least in 135, so I can't see it going away any time soon.

Still sucks, though. I've been scanning some old slides for my mother. The Kodachrome from the 50s looks as vibrant as real life. The Ektachrome from the 80s looks like ass.
