Histoic Baseball Tournament AnonyBob !!bHK6FUTAyi2
Played by 1867 rules.

this is my second pano I have ever made. I think it looks a little better larger size, but I don't want to cause long load times etc...

Would a CPL help me control my sunlit whites a little better?(ex. the players uniforms out in the field etc..)

I would like to give this shot a 1867 look.

is there a cheatsheet somewhere that tells what types of film/lens effects etc.. were used in certain years?

sepia and lots of grain is the go.

As for lenses/film from 1867 it was pretty primitive. For one film didn't exist - you're looking at wet plate negatives i.e. chemicals painted onto a thin piece of glass.
Lenses would probably have been custom made.

Look up daguerrotype and wet-plate photography if you want more info.

It's unlikely there were any candid action shots back then, because chemicals weren't very sensitive and lenses were slow.

To try and fake the look anyways, you might want to add a bit of blurring to the edges, and swirl it a little so that the edges seem to be forming a ring around the center. All of a sudden I can't think of how to explain it so that'll have to do.
