Okay so I really love photography but since I am really poor I could never fulfill my dream to buy a real camera. I used on old Praktika LT from the 70s.
Now I finaly saved enough money to get something more modern but I would like to get some advise on a good camera from you guys.

Pic related its the Kodak Z1275 I was thinking about buying that one.

Thanks in advance!

No, never Kodak.

How much money have you saved up? What will you be shooting? Does size matter?

About 500 Euro but if I can get something goof for less it would be good...Anything really! ... and no it doesnt

Well, 500 euros is roughly $700 so you could get a dSLR if you're interested in doing more in photography. But does size matter to you?

As I said, it doesnt.

Oh, sorry, I blanked on the second part ofyour post.

Well, you could then get a Nikon D80 or Canon Rebel 450D Xsi for about that much, so if you want a dSLR go to a store and hald them and take some shots, mess around with menus and and stuff and see which you like better.

Something but more pocketable but you have control over what you shoot you could look at the Canon G10 or the Panasonic LX3 or other similar cameras along those style's.

Or if you're looking for a compact pooint and shoot just got a canon powershot

Thank you for the information I will look into those.

yeah 500 euro is enough for an entry level dslr, you will have a lot of fun with that.
if you go used you could even get another lens with it.

go with the 450D. I purchased one since im on a budget too, and the image quality is awesome. IMO id say Nikon has better color processing, while canon produces sharper pictures. I opt for the sharpness since i can bump everything post processing. plus its really easy to navigate.

i have a panasonic lumix lx2 and i love it. go for the lx3 :]
