It's hard to tell which part is flower and which part is spider. Creepy as hell, combined with being bright...man, that's crazy. At least the worst we have here are black widows. Yeesh.

It is a good photo. Ask any of the people freaked out by it whether it adequately shows what it would be like to run across the thing.

Me, I wouldn't mind, and so the photograph doesn't freak me out. But the only thing I would do is maybe bump up the contrast some.
