do you have experience with the 50mm/1.8 as well? was just wondering if the 1.4 is worth the extra 200$

i use to own the f/1.8, until i broke it haha.
the f/1.4 looks of nicer build, but the f/1.8 just looks of less quality, when i pulled it apart, i can safely say its built much better than people give it credit for.

as for the extra speed, i am surprised on how useful f/1.4 is, but comes with all large aperture lenses, there is low contrast and less sharpness around the boarders, but you will only notice that on flat pictures and when you look for it.

the f/1.8 is great value for money, i would buy that over the f/1.4 if money are a topic.
