I like the SAGE lens.
I use it on my SAGE camera.
It makes great SAGE images.

Uhh, there are thousands of MF lenses in dozens of mounts, I don't quite think you understand what it means that you're saying.

I just got a bundle of old Nikkors on craigslist, so now the lens arsenal is starting to feel slightly large...

There are all nikkors, and they're mounted on a Canon 5D via adaptor. I focus a little past infinity, but eh, it's not insurmountable.
20 f/2.8
28 f/2
35 f/2.8
35 f/1.4
50 f/1.2
55 f/3.5 Macro
105 f/2.5
135 f/3.5
180 f/2.8
300 f/4.5
Lensbaby 2.0

Get whichever ones you feel like. A classic trio is 28-50-85 or 35-50-135 or something along those lines. I'd say get a fast normal, a good wide, and a nice semi-telephoto for compression.

Oh you totally meant medium format.

I'd love to get a hartblei adaptor for my 80 1.9 Mamiya... that'd be siiiick.

I might get one of those arsat 80 2.8s, seems like a cheap way to get into tilt-shift.

Gee, a little past ? looks a lot like ~5 feet...

I just got the 35 2.8, 55 3.5, 135 3.5, and 300 4.5 and a Nikkormat for 200 bucks. Gotta love craigslist. The others I got individually off of keh.com for a lot more. Heh.

No I mean, on the 5D, when I twist the focusing ring to infinity, it goes past infinity, blurring everything. It doesn't stop me from focusing properly, it just prevents me from being lazy when I focus at infinity.

What you don't realize is that that kid's 300 feet tall and Heavyweather's shooting from a helicopter.

i chuckled at this until i realized that if it really were focused at ~?, there would be no background blur in the picture
