the nikon f2. no one seems to like them. did nikon make them to a lessor standard than the F? i tend to see people prefer the F3 and F over the f2. is it in the lens mount?

it is harder to grip the f2 when hammering nails

f3s are better for building houses

The prism'd meters take a shit and are expensive or impossible to repair (depending on problem and location).
With the F, you don't have to worry about it when buying or selling.

If the prices weren't stupid and it wasn't so hard to get them fixed, I'd still have a couple. They're getting to be collector's pieces now, so it's not worth keeping them in good repair.

F3 vs F2.
If you've got a collection of NAI lenses, the F3 doesn't make much sense. You can use them, but you have to stop-down meter.

Not to mention there's a billion F3s out there and parts are plentiful and cheap. Makes a lot more sense to use it as a shooting camera. I'd prefer the F2, but I'm a match-needle fag.

F2s are still quite popular. It's just that the price is becoming really similar to the F3 (which has more bells and whistles), and the F has the sooper special historical background. There's nothing to especially dislike with the F2.

I have an F2, since a couple weeks ago. eBay ftw.
