So, /p/ I suppose you get this question a lot. What's a good digital camera for taking everyday pictures? The last digital camera I had came with a slot to fit a 3.5" floppy disk in, so I'm a bit behind on the times.

I care about: Memory large enough to take 100+ good 1024 x 768 pictures. Flash. Something that isn't clunky. Cost of $150 or less, cheaper if possible (I don't know what things go for these days).

I'm not a troll, I really want to know. :(

I went on eBay and found that picture that is now deleted, and realized I know nothing about cameras.

That's the item by the way. Title just says "digital camera." So yeah, help please?

Your demands are so low you could buy just about any current production model or one that is still on sale for $150 or less and it will do what you want. Get a Canon. A-series if you can. It doesn't matter what one you get as they will all work for you.

How can you be so retarded and still know how to use the internet let alone 4chan?

Canon A-Series is your answer. A570 to be specific.

Thank you! I didn't know technology was that far ahead these days.

I'm a programmer and my wife wants a digital camera to take pictures with so I figured you guys would know best.

Thanks again!

Be nice. OP clearly isn't a troll, just hasn't kept track of photo technology, and admitted as much.

I agree with what they said, just start with something small and portable and most importantly. Cheap.
