makes me think of Fate stay night (UBW) I'm reading, it would make a nice backdrop for a visual novel alright.

Reminds me of a Japanese school. I like this photo a lot.

Where was it taken?

Here 's the building from the outside.

Question for you guys, how do you fix a blown out sky? The sky was flat overcast when I took this photo so I clipped it out then rendered clouds with Photoshop.

And this photo would be so much better if that ugly tree weren't there, wouldn't you say?

if you're going to go through all that trouble, instead of rendering fake clouds just take clouds from another photo and match it up.

in before true hdr

clouds look fake.

Try the other suggestion of adding in the sky from another photo

shadow/highlight or HDR

Problem with this one was that the sky really was flat even to human vision.

LOL in Photoshop render clouds isn't actually to RENDER CLOUDS ROFLMAO!!

you can do some pretty good ones if you know what your doing

I guess for little sections of sky like that..

But really isn't it just a fractal based generator for special effects and shit?

Another boring hallway. Dammit, I was alone while going around the place taking shots. Scene has potential. Would've been cool if it weren't so empty. The lighting around that time of day was great, I opened all the windows there to get the spooky shadows

Distortion was a bitch too. My A550's lens sucks it with vertical lines along a distance. Especially if I shoot from the side. At least I'm getting great shooping practice.

After that last photo, I felt like I had to do something like this.

While in Photoshop, I found myself having to often tell myself to hold back on the saturation and contrast. It was just too easy to push the sliders all the way. But just like the last one, it's still empty. If only I had a model and a dSLR with a nice prime for good depth of field cause this photo is almost too busy. Or maybe two people, one in the front and to the left pretending to hide behind the bush and another a bit back on the path and to the right pretending to look for the first person. How cliche... Still makes a cute photo though.

I don't really like recycling styles too often but this was the best way I could picture this.

Going to Japan in a month.

I'll bring my camera along and see if I can get inside of a school to get a nice, empty hallway. :)

Took this one last year when I was new to my A550. That was before the custom firmware that let me do raw and full manual. Quite a newb back then. The blue here was actually me playing with the white balance and having it lock on to a shadow before pointing it back up so the highlights get blown out.

Signs on the wall ruined it too.
