Oh shi- Jurassic park! Also, clan of the cave bear (never read it, but I pass it on the shelf like 5-6 times a day, or more).

Benoit?

what'd you make that noose with, a shoelace?

needs more head

I would make more effort chosing the books in the background (either go with "war and peace" type of books, or go with typical borderline type of books: "the idiots guide to getting noticed by women" or something like that.)
keep it dark, but get it in focus and maybe you have something there.

Yes. This could actually be a good concept, with a real noose and more interesting books. And of course, a camera that isn't shit.

How about a certain book by James Joyce? So long it's suicide enducing.

Agreed. Or possibly a farther shot of the bookshelf with a shallow DoF, so that the actual books don't particularly matter. Focus in on the noose that's hanging down from somewhere off camera, the ceiling or some other fixture, instead of right off the edge of the bookshelf.

I didn't set this up. It's how my bookshelf actually looks... the mini-noose hangs from the shelf above, anchored between D&D books.

I just took the picture with my camera phone.

It's still bad. On /p/, there isn't a thing called 'just a picture.' If you didn't want any criticism then, you shouldn't post it here. Also, you shouldn't say you think it's "pretty" either in the OP. Stick it on imageshack or photobucket or something like that.

It was a reference to the Soundgarden song, "Pretty Noose".
not that I expected many people to get it.

Gigantic faggots are commonly misunderstood...
>> annoyingmous
just because you think it is a reference to a particular song, doesn't make it a reference to that song. If nobody got it then it is probably a bad reference. Anyway, this place is not really for song references.
And on another note, come one people, someone should make a reproduction, this time done properly.

and on another note, OPs pic now seems waay more apropriate in /mu/ than /p/.
