These big camera companies must be able to come up with better ways to avoid dust inside DSLRs.

Are they just perpetuating this pain in in the arse problem for profit? Or because its too expensive to fit every camera with some type of defense?

OP: Also, This Dorr sensor cleaning vacuum kits about £50 ($100US), it uses a wierd compressed air suction system... good idea? Or is there a cheaper and better way?

Still think a replaceable internal shield would be helpful. I have prblems with dust on a bi weekly basis. Probably because of my insistance on constant lens swapping.
