I've narrowed it down to twoThe Sony A100KAnd the Canon EOS Rebel XTThis is my first time BUYING a DSLR, not USING one, so I'm not looking for a "beginner's" camera as such, I'm just looking for an upgrade to my PowerShot A640 Point and Shoot. The Sony is marginally cheaper (by around $65) and wields 2 more megapixels than the Rebel. What's got me tied up is theres ALOT of people who seem to absolutely swear by the Rebel XT & XTi models.. I'm really not sure.Someone help me decide?EXIF data available. ..Oh LAWD
i should look into sonys, i'll try one if i get a chancepersonally : i went canon(350D) for the large choice of lenses+second hand market+no sony at the time+i liked the fact that it is rather small in my hands
