I'm still not sure what the deal is with that sign. I was walking home from the sureshot and noticed it. There was another sign on a pole nearby.

It's not a great shot but in this case I just wanted to record the sign for posterity.

this photo bumped and quoted for truth

Wow, they misspelled "very."
But yeah, that's awesome.

I agree with the basic message, but the idea that everyone is beautiful just as they are is bullshit.

There are plenty of physically ugly people and plenty of spiritually (for lack of a better term) ugly people. So, "you are beautiful just as you are" is possibly the worst way to say that one shouldn't judge a person's worth by their physical looks.

>one shouldn't judge a person's worth by their physical looks
Just to clarify in advance, I agree with this idea. I just think it was expressed in a bad way.

Also 'wear'.

(I'm an ugly person because I am a spelling and grammar nazi)

Spelling and grammar should be proper. It's a defilement against the language in question otherwise.

Heh. I was an English major. It's written into my bones. And I find those kinds of mistakes amusing, as they're so freakin' obvious.

I'm rather into literature, too. I enjoy photography and I'm pretty good at it, but the written word is almost orgasmic for me. If given a choice between owning (as in, I can only own one and not sell it) a Leica or my Oxford Shakespeare, I'd pick the Oxford Shakespeare instantly.

In before dropped jaws followed by "GTFO litfag," etc.
