Hey /p/

What can you tell me about the Minolta SRT MC II? I found this in my dad's closet and it seems like the fucking tank of cameras. I could kill someone with it and then take pictures of the crime scene.

I like digitals for convenience of not having to develop film but they don't seem as sturdy as this thing does.

Manual-focus minoltas are win. Lenses are cheap as hell on eBay, too. I got a Rokkor-X PG 50mm f/1.4 for $20.

I have a old Minolta XD-5 which is pretty similar to that one. It's an awesome camera.

I got the SRT 201 and it's a goddamn beast. I love the shit out of it, even though I have like 3 other SLRs I could use. Also, I know that it's at least 30 years old, and has seen more use than a little Taiwanese girl, but it still works great.
