The 35 is (assuming it's pretty close to 35, and not, say, a 33 or a 37) a longish fifty. The Sigma is at the long end of the wide normal range.
The Sigma, like lots of f/1.4 lenses, is huge. The more modest f/2 Nikkor would be more usable.
The Nikkor probably has better build quality and a better focus ring; it certainly does have a better DoF scale than the Sigma. Does the Sigma even have one?
I do like the results from the Sigma and don't know much about the Nikkor's look, but owing to all that unless I actually outright disliked it I'd probably take the Nikkor and just push a stop when I needed to.
