so what kind of flash diffuser is this? cant find it online anywhere. could it be custom made?

Why would you want to find it online if you can build pretty much the same for, lets say, zero euro/dollar/any currency you come up with.
All you need is some white cuttable thing (paper for example), and some rubber bands. Things you can get for free.

it's called a bounce card... get yourself some thin plastic and a few rubber bands... ta-daa

Oh noes! You might risk your piece of paper getting damaged! THE HORROR!

Srsly? You want to spend money on buying one because cutting and bending some thin plastic is too much work?
>> Anonymous
bum a notecard off of someone, and look for a rubberband on the floor. grats. its more durable than something like loose leaf filler paper, and you dont have to cut and bend plastic.

Don't be a jackass, someone was actually offering you money saving tips.

Why waste money on something like that? At least buy a diffuser, that thing will almost make no difference than the bounce card on most speedlights.

"umm maybe because it would be nice if it was made out some kind of durable plastic and not fucking PAPER"

I foken lol'd

If you get one out of durable plastic, you'll never bring it anywhere because it'll be an awkward shape that doesn't fit well in any bag.
business card+elastic get. I leave a jaunty scrunci on my flash all the time so I don't lose it.

I use a piece of white plastic a little bigger than a business card and have some adhesive velcro on it as well as on the flash. Just keep it upside-down on the back of the flash when I'm not using it, and flip it over when I want to use it.

I did the paper notecard+rubber band for about ten years, but got tired of rubber bands breaking at the least opportune time.

i have one of the fujifilm 10x zoom cameras (it has pop-up flash, no hot shoe) would i be able to use one of these if i stuck a mirror on the bottom of it (to direct the flash up into the diffuser)?

Yeah the one in the pic is indeed curved... you're an asshole. People helping you out and you're just acting like a dick.

GTFO.

ITT: People feed the troll

I think OP was serious, but his cause has been taken up by trolls. The world is full of people with more money than sense who have no idea how much twenty dollars or however much this thing would cost really is.

>>88785
Just do what I've done for my pop-up only camera: grab a piece of computer paper, cut out a strip that is a little taller than your flash when popped up and about two centimeters longer than it is around. Grab a piece of tape, tape it into a little ring, like those paper chain links you used to make in elementary school. Folds flat, carry it in your pocket, and anytime you want a diffuser, whip it out and slide it over the flash.

~$0.01.

I have a Flipit. Also for popup I have a littled elasticated hood that goes over it. Cost 3 quid from Ebay. Probably overpriced for what it is but I like it and it looks a little bit better than a peice of paper which is negligle cost obviously.
