Took some pictures out and about. They don't seem quite as sharp as others that I see... Is it because I am shaking in the slightest when I take them?

I'm a big fan of advice.

At 1/200th of a second and 55mm, no its not due to shake unless you have a horrible disease.

400iso will give slightly less sharp images, which you don't have a reason to be shooting at in the middle of day.

A decent photographer can hold out to 400mm at 1/30 of a second, won't give the best results, but they can be usable.

Shoot in raw, and turn off all those presets. All they do in raw is give you presettings and can fool you when you look at the images in image review.

any sort of nubbery will get you flamed

Hang around more and pay attention to how the namefags posts as they are slightly more accountable for what they say, though some of the namefags are just as bad as the normal trolls.

Resize a max height of 800 pixels for one thing.

You also probably just missed the focus on some of these unless this is a consistent problem.

It could be the UV/Haze filter too. I bought the camera from a friend and he had it on there so I just left it on since I was going outside to practice with it.
