No. That's like saying there's a finer art to egg tempura over oil painting, or acoustic guitar over electric. They're different, but both require technical skill and craft to work.
There's lots of two-bit hacks messing around with enlargers and doing hamfisted overdone prints, same as there is two-bit hacks messing around with Photoshop and etc. etc. Same deal. There's always going to be the klutzes and the masters.
For an example of a digital master craftsman, take the case of Pascal Dangin, who's dubious at best in terms of his principles and character, but who knows the technical side of digital processing just as well as Adams knew the darkroom.
