I've been taking a lot of party photos recently, seeing as I've been going to a lot of parties with photographer-types.

First two with the 50mm f/1.8, last one is with the 35mm f/1.4 Nikkor.

As someone who doesn't need to lurk moar, I'd be willing to take that bet.

Don't really like any but the last one. Just the sort of photographs people playing around on their camera take, like people will sit and play around with their guitar, if that makes sense.

Unless you're an EXIF whore, it doesn't matter. Go to his Flickr if it's so important to you.

How much is that 35mm f/1.4 go for these days?

This was shot with a big ol' strobe pointed into a white umbrella. The photographer I was photographing was good enough to lend me a pocketwizard so I could use her strobe as well. This dude just walked by.

Low, low, low ambient room light from a lamp. Love that 1.8 and 1.4 aperture.

There are many copies.
