Crits/Advice please?

I'm trying to work out how people do those awesome shots where the clouds are really well defined etc.

Any example shots would be nice if you can work out what I mean :D

Get a ND filter, that will bring out the contrast in the foreground whilst keeping the highlights out of the background.

Try a square lens-holder and a graduated ND filter to balance the exposure and get some detail in the foreground.
