notice how only Canon EOS Digital Rebel owners take shitty shots like this
>> Anonymous
>>277540
Shitty huh... At least Rebelfags use something other than Green Box mode on a fucking Nikon.

I like the OP picture, composition in the others isnt close.

Sorry but thats not me ^_^
I'd rather not reply to posts of no value.

>>277543
Cheers. For the other two, Im going to crop them tightly before i print them out. I just liked the spread of the water.
>> Anonymous
No offense, but this is horrible.

It has been done 10 million times by every amateur on their first day of buying a new camera.

There is no originality. Oh wow, Splash of water on a can of Coke. That's really awesome. Print it out and show it to your mom, she would be really proud.
>> Pulng.
>>277568
Are you saying you dont like the photo or the concept because its unorigional, or just the concept?
>> Anonymous
It's a stupid idea and it makes a stupid picture.

It's so mundane it's like a picture of nothing. It impresses idiots who have no idea about photography. This is below Photography 101, this is like high school photography.
>> Anonymous
>>277583
Theres nothing mundane about it. Your just another idiot who dosent know how to constructively critisise people of photos.
>> Anonymous
It's fucking water splashing on a can of Coke.

How is that not mundane? I'm sorry but I'm going to have to call OP posting anon to defend his boring photos.
>> Anonymous
>>277621
I agree with him, maybe if the can had some frost on it then it'd be cool. Oh..and if it wasn't obvious that the water is coming from the faucet.
>> Anonymous
it is cliché, but at least the op was inviting people to show their examples in the thread too. i've yet to see any appear from anyone else. no one had any more original or inventive ideas to act as a comparison then?

here you go

irony on anon saying D40 because it's got the fastest sync speed of any camera of this range

You are right, that was a post made by me, the op. Something happened to my name.

>>It's fucking water splashing on a can of Coke. How is that not mundane?

Water splash.
Absolutely not mundane. I dont find it boring at all, and although it can be seen everyday, you cant see it frozen in the air.

a can of coke.
Mundane? It could have been, should I have taken the picture from a front on angle, and in a boring enviroment. However it is not in a boring enviroment, and not from a boring angle.

Nothing in this photo is mundane at all. not even the lighting.

Cliche / unorigional, yes. Does that make it a bad photo? No.

Anyway, can I see some other high shutter speed photo's? Im not going to rip you apart :)

And YET, all we ever get from D40 users is pictures of cats, a flower, or an insect, shot with the original lens.

Oh lawdy lawd.

It can be seen in photos like this every day.

>a can of coke.
>Mundane? It could have been, should I have taken the picture from a front on angle, and in a boring enviroment. However it is not in a boring enviroment, and not from a boring angle.
Mundane? It is. A front angle would actually be better, the composition in these are shit. Oh, and a sink is not a boring environment?

>Nothing in this photo is mundane at all. not even the lighting.
wat

>Cliche / unorigional, yes. Does that make it a bad photo? No.
True. However, what makes this a bad photo is the boring lightning, boring angle and boring background.
Imagine this shot being shot with a front angle and a totally black background with lightning from only the left and the right. That'd still be cliche as fuck, but it would be MUCH MUCH more interesting to look at.

Nice try though, kinda like it somewhat despite being mundande, unoriginal and the kind of shot every god damn kid does as soon as he gets his first camera.

I've probably been trolled now but whatever

>It can be seen in photos like this every day.
You do realise why, right? Because its interesting and eye catching. If it was mundane, people wouldnt use pictures like that in commercials and advertisements.

>A front angle would actually be better
Debateable, i would say no for my idea.

>the composition in these are shit.
I am willing to admit the second and third photos do have bad composition, but for the right reasons.

>Oh, and a sink is not a boring environment?
Any location is a boring enviroment really. unless photographed well. Do you agree? A park can look very boring, and a workshop can look very interesting.

>what makes this a bad photo is the boring lightning, boring angle and boring background.

I guess we are going to have to agree to disagree. I like the results and i like how the coke can pulls your eyes towards it.

Your Idea seems to be mundane to me, but may well make a good photo. Thank you for your opinion, but i think you need to wake up and learn that nearly every photo has been taken before and all photo's have similarities.

I like the colors in OP's first picture. The same picture with a black background would be terrible.
>> Project !dashI8UpO.
     File :-(, x)
I like the OP photo and its lighting but the colors need work and it would be better if the whole can was in focus while getting some part of the water out of focus.

Like anon said, its D40(x)/50/60.

What about those with D70/80/90, or other Nikons?
>> Anonymous
>>278109
The price generally cockblocks (or cockblocked) retards from getting their dirty hands on those higher level cameras. In any case, the comparison was between triple digit canonfags (entry-level range) and D40/40x/60 users on the Nikon side.

Yes but when every little 12 year old who gets a camera goes OMG I WANT THAT PIC I SAW IN THAT ADVERT.

You're just not doing it any better. That's all, making it a 'hey i saw that ad, it was more impressive than this guy' kinda shot.

Seriously..water with anything else and you wouldn't have been shredded :/
