This one wasnt so bad, rest are fucking shit

just because you shoot on film dosnt mean you can take photos of dull and boring scene, poorly composed, look at the muted tones and go , OMG ITS ART!!!

just because your name says "honest" doesnt mean you can be a dick to everyone.

the car ones are ok, first one reminds me of something off of top gear, but the pictures of the cars are better. last one is definately the best.

Well, I am still just learning. Maybe you can point out specific ways I could have made the shots better?

It is considered offensive to say something is, like, "fucking shit", you're better of stating "these photos are not satisfactory" and everyone's happier that way.

The Civic was actually pretty fast, but the new M3 had a good driver and was passing the Civic.

Nothing of interest here, Nasty shadow running down the center of a triangle, that has the end cut off, and is intersected by a cone....

none of the shapes work together, at least not in this shot, where ever you was going for, it never worked

>>278436

Again, nothing of intrest, if that wall was on the left 3rds line, and the guy was still there, then maybe it would work, but its just a poorly composed shot of a wall as it is...

>>278437

Wayyyyyy to buisy, what am i ment to be looking at here, eye goes from the red lining, to the checkers, up the road, to the red/white bumper things....

no clear point of focus, with no subject.

>>278438

Its a shot of a car... nothing that nice about it, you can make out what car it is, and the driver(s??) in it.

>>278439

Again, just shots of cars, these just aint so interesting...

>>278440

IMO the saving grace of the set,

Composure works (not perfect, but its good enough), i like the two sets of lighting on the car, side and half of the front,

I also love the way the car and the sky work, so for the eye it goes, red (bumper, thing), white (body), red (spoiler), white (sky)

duno if that was intentional, but its a handy occurrence

Thanks. While I may not agree on all points, it is helpful to see what your criteria in judging the photos are.

A lot of times I just walk around with the camera and I see something that catches my eye I'll try to take a shot of it. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The 2nd photo for example was taken quickly. I saw the sticker ("I <3 Road Racing") and my friend standing in the back talking/smiling to someone (out of frame) and thought it would be a cool pic-- I had hardly enough time to compose the shot and have all the exposure settings right. Technically I was pleased with the exposure, but if I had composed the photo following the rule of thirds I agree it would have been better.

Youre a fag, cars are awesome, not matter how the photos of them look, so they make photos automatically awesome.
