HEY folks, I need a good camera for around £200 or however many dollars that is, needs to be fairly rugged, metal body for traveling not huge definitely not an slr and a fairly good zoom and screen would be nice, working well in low light would be nice and must not take ages to focus, the time from turning on to take picture should be quick finally good battery life is good, but not essential, i can carry spares
anything at or around around this price range is great, thanks for your help

i was gonna say this, Olympus has a couple of water- and shockproof point and shoots. may not be too good in low light though. since theyre not much more expensive than your regular P&S, the technology in it is a bit cheaper i think.
