sup /p/, heres my problem. I need to shoot reference photos for some pinup illustrations. I have a model, BUT no lights. I was curious if i could find any lights @ lowes (big hardware store here) that could do the trick? Also, are there any house hold items I can utilize as a back drops or tools during the shoot ? Im thinking of purchasing 2 lights, thanks /p/.

It is hard to say without *sample photos* of what you want to replicate, in subject, style or whatever. There are endless ways to set up shots and adjust settings on the camera.

I don't shop at Lowes so I can't recommend any particular models from there if that is what you are looking for, sorry

alot of the images i have been looking at for reference come from the old 50's style pinups, but im not limited to that. The main goal is to have the figure well lit with a good variation in contrast to be able to paint from.
