I'm going to see a real live photog soon, and I have no idea wtf I'm going to do. Our class is attending a presentation of his friday night, and saturday morning, me and 11 grad students (i'm by far the most inexperienced) are attending a workshop with him. I'm told he usually has off camera lighting stuff, in which I have next to no experience.
His lecture is on his "Almost Naked" series, which is up on his website.

The key to impressing pro photographers is to tell them how many megapixels your camera has.

Guys got some fantastic shots in there, but for been raised in china, he only has a few shots in his china section :S

Anyway, dont try to impress, just be yourself, but do not be shy! ask questions, no matter how basic or stupid tey may sound, make it obvious you want to learn from him.

Oh, and a little ego boosting never hurt anyone :P
