This is the best you could come up with? Really? Didn't occur to you that maybe if it were overexposed at 13 seconds that maybe *less than 13 seconds* would be a good avenue of exploration to go down next?
The moon's pretty bright--you want to give it less than one second of exposure. That'll leave the rest of your scene underexposed, but that's probably what you want in a scene like this. If not, take it at a time when the moon's up and there's still enough light out from the sun that it's not several stops brighter than the rest of the hemisphere. Or take multiple exposures and HDR it.
