>>227858 Also an amateur photographer; enjoy portrait photography as well, so if there are any flaws in this, sorry! I noticed her elbow was cut off. Personally, it's a pet peeve of mine when this happens! Although, I completely understand it's an honest mistake and it seems somewhat spontaneous. Also, when taking pictures outside, the sky can get very cyan & shallow, without the depth of what the sky may actually look like! I'm not familiar with your camera other than the fact that it's a bridge, but if you can, invest in a polarizer so that the sky may look more realistic, and of course your photos will seem more dramatic! This should help with the overexposure of her hair at the top, as well, and with keeping the aperture small. Now for good points! I like the way she was looking left, yet the majority of the subject was on the right, very symmetrical, draws the eye around well. Also nice depth of field, on bright sunny days like the one you took this on it can be rather annoying to have to resort to making the aperture smaller & ruining the portrait-like quality about a small DoF. :)
Tldr; Good symmetry, buy a polarizer & keep your apertures wide!
Photo unrelated, example of my work with portraits. Contrast adjusted, but other than that no post-processing.
