anyone know how to use a d60 to do timelapse stuff? i.e. take a photo every minute or 3? can't find the settings :S pic unrelated

Using a DSLR for time-lapse isn't actually a very good idea. The mechanical SLR shutters lack longevity for movies; you'll use half of your D60's shutter life on a mere 15 minutes of time-lapse footage.

you must be buying shitty cameras because even if you took one photo per second, 15 minutes is only 900 actuations. do you need to take a photo a second? no, its a timelapse. unless you want to make a long timelapse that doesnt cover very much time, you can shoot a low slower than that.

2700 acctuations is hardly 1/2 of the rated number.
3fps for 15min btw, not that the D60 can do unlimited 3fps anyway (go sony!)

I meant 15 minutes of *finished* time-lapse footage, at 24 frames per second.
