So I just "inherited" one of these from my mom, who bought an EOS 10D. Everything is in good working order, and I found the manual in PDF format. I've read nothing but positive reviews; but my question is this: anyone else out there own one of these?

Ok so to those who do have one: how do you like it? Does it do well for a film SLR? I was considering buying a istDL and now with the manual lenses from this camera it kinda seals the deal. What are your thoughts /p/

PS- the thumbnail is hard to see, the camera is a Asahi Pentax K1000 circa early 1980-something

Im actaully online looking to buy a second one ^_^
The one I have is metering 1 1/2 stop down so fixing it will cost just as much as buying another. But I highly recommend it, just be sure to replace the battery and it works like a champ, the Asashi is a tank.

So why an istDL over an istDS?

You can compensate for the meter error by setting your ISO to 1.5 stops above the film's rating.

A lot of people seem to like it.
