Nice colors, but it's really just a shot of the fruit section in grocery store. Makes the best of a boring situation, I suppose. What film did you use?
>> Anonymous
it feels like i'm sitting in the fruit cooler.. A+

I used Fuji-Film, 400 speed. Really cheap.

+1, I've gotta agree.

And there's a lot of different types of Fuji but I'm assuming it's Superia because it's cheap.

I don't like the composition. You should realize that guys like>>223880and>>223913are trolls that are just pretending to be like the people from asspatting websites like flickr and deviantart.

You've also gotta think. It's a rather boring shot; it's just fruit. In the fruit section. Being cold and fruitlike. Not terribly exciting. I see what you tried to do with the composition, having the oranges that are in focus on the top right third intersection, and also what you're doing with all of the diagonal lines, but the diagonal lines lead away from the subject.

No no, this was obviously stolen from Gursky.

Oh shit.. wait..
ANDREAS GURSKY?! ON MY /p/?

Meese, just because it's in a grocery store does not mean Andreas Gursky shot it. Nothing in it is at all similar to his style, except that it... wait for it... is in color.

He shot one picture in a grocery store. One.

Nice composition, but...

I looked at the photo and immediately imagined myself walking through the grocery store and seeing some 17 y/o hipster kid with a Digital Rebel taking photos of fruits. Because of this, I lol'd hard.

Do you ever get strange looks when you wander into the vegetable aisle and start taking angled shots of the zucchinis?
>> Anonymous
I used film- I'm not a fan of digital, no offense. I'm really interested in getting into street photography, so I'll have to get used to some weird looks
>> Anonymous
meese is a fucking retard. End of discussion.

Although it is a simple pic, it seems to tell a story. It's like that one orange, he's climbing to the edge, about to commit suicide by jumping out of the basket. Why?

The other oranges, standing behind him; are they waiting their turn to jump? Trying to talk him down? Or just egging him on?

Or maybe the orange and the pear are at the starting line of a race to the floor.

(i made a thread about Gursky recently.. have you been researching him meese?)

Gurskys fame is soley based on the fact that hes got a wide angle lens and is quite handly at finding good overhead vantage points.

none of which are involved in the photos above.
