I'm looking for some pentax lenses that are inexpensive but good for what they cost.

im considering getting the Pentax 50mm f/1.4 ($195) and Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 ($130)

I keep hearing that "lots of cheap glass" is a major reason to go pentax but i haven't been able to find too much of it myself. any suggestions?

thanks in advance

Used K-mount lenses are cheap and extremely prevalent, aslong as you don't mind going manual. Any shop that carries used gear will have a few kicking around.

Pentax has no lenses? Are you FUCKING retarded?

k-mount = fucking universal.

I can take a 60 year old lens (EXAGERATION TY) and put it on my K10D.

a name brand 50mm 1.4 for less than $200 is a very good deal, the equivalent Nikon one I own is $300. I work at a camera store, I love both the Nikon and Pentax SLR line, and We're starting to get the DA* lens' in, and they're sweet.
