If you were in the city for a couple days, or even overnight, you could've waited for evening or morning.

I hate to sound an ass, but no one cares about anything except the photograph. Doesn't matter that you don't live there. This might've been the best picture *you* could've made in that situation, but as a picture of Rome, as art, it's only okay. Enjoy it yourself as a personal thing, fine, but to others its meh. Ansel Adams said something to the effect of that he only got twelve passable photographs a year... that should tell you something.

been there. i stayed in a hotel that wasnt deserving of being called a hotel..it was supposedly 2 star but I dont even think it was 1.

looks more like diffuse glow to give it that bloom look though, not hdr
