I would, but I'd like to keep the fucking lens intact. There's a bunch of heavy duty tool facotires across the road from me, could maybe ask 'em if I could borrow a pair of pipe wrenches from them >.>

When this happens to me I wrap my mighty cock around the outside of the filter for one or two full turns and then I think of my own firm and beautiful buttocks, causing an immediate swelling in my loins. The mechanical strain from the resulting erection is more than enough to twist off the filter.

You are trying too hard. The filter ring is very flexible, even with glass in it. When you use brute strength, you squeeze the filter and it expands and locks into place.
Wrap a fat rubber band, slightly smaller diameter than filter, like the one that comes on brocolli (buy some if you have to) around the filter, and wrap your hand around the filter. Grasp JUST tightly enough so your hand doesn't slip. It will probably loosen up. If it doesn't, this advice is worth what you paid for it.

Let's face it. This is the internet, after all. They put warnings on food to tell you that it will be hot after you've cooked it in the oven.
