so /p/ this sunday im gonna be taking some cool pics of a nice waterfall where i live

do you guys have any tips? (i plan on long exposure and normal ones)

dont use high ISO?
shoot in RAW for nature?
long exposure tips? (i have a gorilla pod)

It's hard to give pointers on what to do, besides all of the normal or common sense tips. It already seems like you have some sense of what you're doing.

If I were outside near water, I'd probably make my camera more waterproof by putting a plastic bag over it. Also, a lens hood wouldn't be a bad idea if you had one. If you didn't, then I wouldn't worry about it too much, just as long as you don't shoot into the sun too much. As for your questions(?), always shoot in raw when you can, despite subject. High ISO is not necessary, but it depends on what effect you're aiming for. As for long exposure tips, a tripod is probably the only thing you'll need.

you can bring a neutral density filter and maybe a polarizing filter. The neutral density filter will help with making the water fall look "flowing." A polarizing filter can cut out some of the light that reflects off the water.
