I just recently came into some money (inheritance) that has made it so that I dont have to work anymore, so I decided to take up photography as a hobby, largely because my girlfriend and I are going to spend a few years traveling the world, whats the best camera I can buy? money is obviously no object.
There is no such thing as a "best" camera.
Best all-around DSLR would probably be the Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II.
Buy an entry-level DSLR and take a few photography classes then decide what you want. The most expensive camera in the world will still give you crappy pictures if you don't know what you're doing.
>>33106Im taking courses and whatnot, I just want a ridiculously expensive camera because I honestly have more money than I know what to do with
>>33109I can give you my paypal account, send me 2000 USD and you have done sth. good (I'll buy a Nikon D80 and some lenses with the money)Mhh, you are better of if you go to a store where proffesionals can recommend u DSLRs ;)
Canon EOS 1Ds Mk II, along with a Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM for basic zoom needs, a nice Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM for longer zooms and of course if money is not a problem, you should get a Canon EF 1200mm f/8L.
>>33117I just ordered the Canon EOS 1Ds Mk II cost me $6,500, and although the $80,000 lens seems a bit much for a new photgrapher.
Fucking moron. You could do something constructive with your money, but instead you buy a super expensive camera that you will have no idea how to operate just because it's super expensive. May you trip and fall off a cliff while looking through your newly acquired digital penis.
Sounds too much like a troll to me.
