Indoor with crappy camera Anonymous
Sup, /p/, do you come here often? I don't. But I'm pretty sure you're the guys I can come to for help.

Tomorrow I will have to use my friend's digital camera to take a ton of indoor photos of people. I don't know anything about taking pictures/cameras/etc. All I know is that whenever I take indoor shots with my piece of shit, they come out blurry and/or generally shit. I don't know what camera he has, all I know is it's about got about 7megapixfags of quality. This is an example of something I'd expect him to give me to use: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16830113041

Anyway, question is - are there any effective methods for improving the quality of indoor shots with this kind of camera? I don't know what settings there are to adjust, but do you have any idea what kind of settings there might be or I should be adjusting? General tips welcome, I'm a newfag to photography.

bite the bullet and just use the flash. it looks like hell, but in the mind of the general public, blurry is worse than an unflattering lighting pattern.

of course, using flash will eat up the battery, so tell your friend to bring his charger, and don't walk around with the lcd display on.

Ah yeah didn't even consider the battery life being an issue. Thanks for that tip. Also, I guess I'll be using the flash as I don't think there's going any great lighting going on.
