Cute birdie.

It looks like it's either dirty or mad, though, with the feathers that way.

It's a kind of parrot, actually. I don't know the name in english, but here in Brazil we usally call it "piriquito" (parrot is "papagaio").

You can say in English "parrakeet".
But that'is a different kind of "periquito".
In Brazil we used to call it "tuim".
Ou seja, esse é um TUÍM, pô!
Now post some parrots.

Cute pics.

How is the Powershot S3 IS? Was thinking of getting one... Quality of these pictures is affirming my choice so far. Did you find any problems with it?

Ah sim, sempre confundo os dois. :x
E não tenho foto de papagaio.

No problems till now... just get a large SD card (>1gb) and you'll be fine.

Don't be fooled, this isnt an SLR, is a "superzoom compact". So there are some (minor) issues, like grainy images over ISO200, slight definition loss near the edge of the pictures, no RAW mode, no suport for external flash etc... but these are all expected for a non-SLR (actually most of these "issues" are above average for a compact). Nothing that you'll worry about. At least I didn't. ;D

BTW, videos at 640x480 @ 30fps with stereo sound ROCKS.
