First time radnomness
First time in /p/ I have a canon, Not sure how EXIF data works, it is extracted from the photo, yes? Anywho, I have had my camera for about a year now, Not to happy with it, it's my first camera ever, I really love using it.
But I'm not so happy with the 6 Megapixels though. I was going to get an Olympus, but Officemax was out of stock.
EXIF data available. Clickhereto show/hide.

Flash ruins the picture, get a tripod and slow down to 30 seconds or whatever you need to get a good night shot.

What's wrong with 6 MP? You aren't making poster-sized prints are you?

Maybe you're just a troll.

I never have my flash on. Just did it for this really quick shot, I was leaving to go get some food and i grabbed my camera and shot it w/o tripod and turned flash on for the effect. Then In Paint.NET i just darkened and increased the contrast.
And I would like to have, at least, a 22" photo.
Also I really like macro photography, are there any macro lenses for a Canon Powershot C3 IS, and how much would they run for?

p.s. I am pretty much a noob to the Photography community, I am really passionate with it, just that I have never talked with people that actually know a lot about cameras and photography.

Ahhhh, okay. It's legible now. In your first photo you really blew out the photo.

In photography it's important to have a variety of tones- the darkest of darks, mediums, lights, and some highlights. If you have too much contrast you end up with mainly darks and highlights

It looks like the focus of the camera is on the towel(?) instead of the mouse. If there's a manual way to focus your camera you should be able to adjust this so we can tell what your subject is. If not be really careful focusing until you get what you want in focus and keep adjusting

Try to shoot in natural daylight as much as possible because light is what makes a photograph dramatic.

Also try to get photos of subjects from a variety of heights/angles for more interesting compositions- don't always feel like you have to center your subject or have only one thing in a photograph. Use selective focus to increase your creative controls

I know nothing about your camera.

Again it was a quick shot, I was able to get two shots before I had to leave. I think i understand what you mean about having the different lights, the rule of third i understand quite well surprisingly.
If i can find a photo I took I will show one of my best examples of 3rd's that i have noticed myself take.
Seriously, does anyone know about my camera? And what would be a good macro and (forgot the name of photo's that have things falling or moving really fast but being clear) camera that is good and somewhat cheep for a beginner/intermediate?
