Winter's coming close again, so time to get those last year's pics out of the way.

All scanned from the negative. Not manipulated except standard levels finetuning and cropping where needed.

Sunset over a grassy (well, snowy) airfield.

I'm particularly interested in your opinions about this one. I can't judge it objectively enough myself.

Don't know if this building still stands.

That's the last one for now. More to come later.

Haha, I jinxed it. The very night I posted these, we've got 25 cm of snow in like 5 hours. And now it's all wet, rainy, and bleh. So much for Autumn pics this year. :(

Nice picture of stones in the snow, but what's the idea behind it? I wanted to say it lacks context, but it's more like context that lacks the subject. ;)

Geez. You don't need to bump anything on /p/. If you don't get any replies it's because the photo is bland, boring, generic or bad.

>>30279looks nice, imo.

Oh, ok, whatever. At least it wasn't completely unjustified, since one of the photos is "nice".

i really like the first two photos my favorite being the second pic.

the reason i like it more than the others is because you havent made a portrate of one thing in the frame. everything is fairly open to interptitation. where as in the first photo there is a person walking in it. it takes away from the photo as you focus on the man walking in the distance.

yeah so this one is the "best",>>30278.

are you taking these photos n mind to create a sense or a feeling in the viewer? are you trying to capture "dead" areas or empty places.

I like it, admittedly some of the foreground was distracting when I first saw the thumbnail, but full frame I quite like it.
