So I bought a Nikon D90 a couple weeks back. I'm pretty happy with it so far, it's a fun camera. I've used it at 3 concert shoots so far and some night scenes as well.

The HD video looks good but the sound quality is awful, especially for live music.

One thing that annoys me about it, when you plug it into a PC to transfer data it doesn't register as a hard drive and you can't cut/paste your stuff.

All in all, its a good camera but I wish that I'd waited a little longer and got a D700 instead. Ah well.

I love Liverpool, dont get me wrong,

But the "capital of culture" sign sure does look like an oily rag with some marker writing on it...

Bet someone got paid thousands for that design.

There's a setting you need to change under the Settings menu, if the menu is still the same as the D80 that is... RTFM...

it's not.
not OP.

He needs to change it from PTP to Mass Storage. Then it will show up like a USB drive.

Really? I was planning on getting a D90. My budget won't go near as high as a D700 though; right now it is a monumental leap in price. Is it good for its price range though?

Get out of my city!

At least you're not in the centre, grats on not getting mugged.

Yeah I hate the CoC sign too, I refuse to take photos of it.

no camera company including nikon has developed a better camera than the d40. everything else is just hype.

Liverpool is the European capital of culture in the same way that Montreal is the American capital of cheeseburgers.
