Hi /p/.

So, I recently got into photography and I thought I could post some photos and get some comments and critique.

I try to keep the shots as I take them, without any crop or heavy shooping.

Allright, this first shot is at the Boston Acquarium, Massachussets

Not bad but I would of liked more of it in the frame, and that thingy on the left is annoying. Try shooping it out.

>>189382

Why did you tilt it, just why?

>>189383

It's ok, just ok. Nothing bad about it, but the background is pretty distracting and there is nothing of real intrest in it. The guys just look kinda erm ... dull.

I kinda like the textures on the shirts though

very very nice. the thing on the left spoils the pic. shoop it.

>>189382
beautiful composition. I don't have anything against tilting but that tilt is way too much. tilt less.

>>189383
I don't like the background.
I don't like the foreground.
Is that guy drinking pee?

Pretty! nice shot.
and I agree with everyone else about that thing on the left.

The color is *way* off. Don't use auto white balance unless you are in a situation where you need to, and always shoot in raw so you have more leverage for fixing the color. Those jelly fish are supposed to be brown.

There are no rules for color. In this case, it looks great, so who cares if its accurate? Photography is using light to create art, not always recreating reality exactly.

Also, the usefulness of AWB depends entirely on your camera. On mine it works fine in almost all situations.

played with it. shooped little white thing, and cropped black thing.

also: i love the movement in this picture.>>189381

This is actually quite nice, though it's mostly because of the colours and setting, I could do without the tilt.
