LOTS of light. plan ahead, get a at least a half dozen lights set up, drape, etc. this is studio photography, but people are really fucking big and complicated subjects. GET A FUCKING HEATER and keep it going.
be understanding and sensitive with your model, unless you're paying them. also, be upfront about your handling of the photos afterward and do not fuck them over.
take your time, take a load of test shots, really study when looking through the viewfinder.
experiment until you find a lighting and a setting that flatters your model's skin tone and condition.
deliberately look for and snap flaws or ugly bits, so you know where they are when you try for nice photos.
lastly, before you start any serious processing, look through the whole session and jerk off at least once.
you cannot focus on art while you are focused on ass.
