Light it nicely in the first place, basically. You can't edit in more or less photons. That photo you posted, for instance, is a composite of several shots, at the very least two, and likely more. The editing on each layer is fairly simple, just good contrast and sharpening. The nice visual quality and great colors are results of really good studio lighting, or at least controlled outdoor lighting.
