sky's blown, shadows are murky and lack detail, no real subject....
it just doesnt seem to be executed very well at all

It's a composite it of 8 color pictures. IIRC, what I did was I put them in the CS3 autostich, then worked on the layers as a whole and messed around with the b&w converter and then up the contrast. They are all RAW, so I could go back and see if I could get back some detail.

Also, this is the original color composite, I have another that''s really greenish.

the shadow detail is better in this, but the sky is still completely blown unfortunately
might wanna try recovering it from the raw if possible

critique on what? it's just a snapshot of some vegetation :|

its not even scenic, just too busy and boring.

Thanks. I wasn't sure how good it was. I guess I probably just like it because it was my first photostich that came out decent.

How is the second b/w conversion, though? (Tonal range, detail, etc.)

I like that bit of the photo.
The rest of it sucks.
You can't even see where the pool starts and finishes at the bottom.
It's just messy.
Lacks any real composition.
It's not even an interesting subject.
What made you take the photo?
>> tizzou !!HuouSd+PYUs
It was an interesting place but I didn't have a wide enough lens to capture everything so I figured I'd do a photostitch.

This. No amount of manipulating in PS is going to save a crap shot. Do yourself a favor and read up on composition and exposure. Then get off the computer, go outside, and take more photographs.
