I bet Butterfly could handhold one of these fuckers, no problem.

She could, but only if she could find a way to mount it on her Sony.

what use this shit has?

Well, look at it this way. In general, I'll see an interesting angle of view of something, but from a position that is much too far away, and the angle of view isn't available from anywhere closer. There are situations where a telephoto and/or heavy cropping is really all you can do.

That's a pricing bug. No lens is worth 99k

This lens has one use, and one use only: paparazzi

Well, is the money you get from such a picture worth the 99 000 dollars of that lens?
>> Butterfly !xlgRMYva6s
tbh for the price they charge (70k gbp) id fucking expect them to put it on any mount i want!

AND YES.

actually, Ken Rockwell can and does hand-hold that lens (he took this picture from about six miles back)

If you are paying that kind of money you could probably get a mount converter even if they refused to sell one on that mount. I know that these lens manufacturers have done made-to-order for the more expensive lenses before. I wonder if they would be willing to do that for enough money?

Because you do a lot of street photography and don't want to give up your inconspicuous Leica M? ;)
