Zorki 4 - Is it a good rangefinder camera in this pricesegment?

Sadly, no. They look nice, but they are truly a hell to use. They break easily, and I have only once in my lifetime seen one with a working rangefinder mechanism. The only positive is that it has exchangeable lenses, but it might be better to get a good fixed rangefinder instead. An Electro 35 (GL is best) would be much more pleasant to use.

But the GL is kinda hard to find. A Fed-2 is a good alternative to the Zorki. If you're dead-set on getting one, get a Zorki-4 that's from 1965 or earlier (the first 2 numbers in the serial indicate the year of manufacture)

True that. I suppose for a good price, Zorki's are okay. They're just really not pleasant to use, and I'd avoid them. (Unless you just want to look cool, because these do look good.)
