I have a portrait screen that fits 15 images up to the size of 8x10. What I want to do is take one image and break it apart in photoshop so the screen puts them all toghether to look at one big image.

My questions:
What size/resolution should each 8x10 be?

What should the resolution of the original image be to be able to break it apart and still look good as a stand alone 8x10?

I'm having troubles trying to figure out what type of image would look good broken up. No people, no text, something abstract but nature. I'm leaning towards some sort of tree.

Thanks /p!

You can use rasterbator for this, but I agree that image selection is going to be tricky because of the seperation between the images.
A good trick might be a landscape or similar fairly even coloured image and just painting the wood inbetween the images.

Thanks! That site is going to work out well. Now I just need an image. I think I'll skip the painting though. When a brush is in my hand, there is disater in the air.
