Going though my old shots and found this taken at a friends pre party thing...

I didn't think much at the time, but now am very much a fan of documentation style of photography i kind of like it...

I know it brakes most of the "rules", subjects are at the edges, nothing in the center, yet the eye keeps going there.... But for somreason I like it,

Well, it's not complete crap. Read up a little more on composition and you'll understand that you're really not breaking any rules. Also, I think the center tells us a little about your friends and adds to the piece.
