Tried my new Canon 1.4X extender today! it works great! really recommend it for the 70-200 f/2.8L IS USM lens!!

Well unfortunately most of us can't afford 8000$ bodies, 2200$ lenses and 300$ convertors as our cameras, based on 4chan's recommendations

But the general consensus with convertors is that don't use them (and if you do need one for sports or whatever, an F2.8 lens is the best way to go and don't use the 2.0x if you can)

So good job on buying the right equipment, But 4chan isn't likely to have EOS Mark II's, and $2000+ lenses.

I've never had a problem with teleconversters on primes.
I've never heard it ever be a good idea to use them on a zoom but all my book learning is oldternet, maybe it's "OK" now.
