Are you taking pictures for amusement or to use commercially for advertising and whatnot. Because your pictures will either be clear or interesting depending.

try using a polarizer to soften the reflections off of the plastic and even out the tone

you can find one at Walmart for $10 made by Targus! Incidentally, they can also function as a ND filter, effectively reducing the light by up to 3 stops!

I actually looked at those, but they were $20. They didn't have them in 72mm anyway. I've been checking out the B+W ones though. I just wish they weren't so much.

also, you should drop your iso down to your cameras lowest, and open up that aperture. at f36 you image is going to suffer from diffraction.
