whats an easy way to resize pictures? i want to just make the resolution on my pictures smaller

Really though, this is dead simple. If you haven't pirated photoshop yet, go to http://gimp.sf.net and install that. Just play around till you find the resize dialog

I'm not sure about resolution, but...
http://www.resize2mail.com helps me out when resizing.

irfanview batch job is easier than photoshop batch job

quality is pretty close

for photoshop just record a resize macro and use it on a batch

ifranview uses lots of checkboxes and stuff in its advanced batch menu

photoshop can do much more custom stuff on batches, long complicated image processing macros etc
