>>243730 Also i should add, that you should get a remote shutter release, I bought the canon RS60E3, it has about a 3 foot wire that you plus into the side of the camera, and it has a slide on it . So once you push down the button you can slide it up to lock it into position,locking the shutter open; then slide it back down to release once you get to the time you want.

there is a couple different triggers for specific camera models, your manual will tell you which is the correct one.
