People are walking towards a bus stop in heavy rain, leaving the arena behind.

The party in Metro Auto arena was over, and Friday morning greeted the crowd with bitter wind, freezing cold temperature and wet snow. The perfect after-party weather.

I like it. It's not great, but it's far from sucking.

How could the d80 produce so much noise at 1600? Or am I missing something.

Probably no NR on, and it was brightened aftewards. The D80 + D200 (same sensor) aren't the greatest for Noise either.
D50 is actually better.

I turned noise reduction completely off and brightened it "a bit" ;-) Of course with (at least) color NR on, and exposing the photo properly, you get a *lot* cleaner images at iso1600.
