Hey /p/,

A few months ago we had a thread on here where people were posting shots from their fucked up Canon point-and-shoots. Well, I saw this link to the Canon website where they had issued a service notice for certain models affected by a sensor malfunction. So I sent in my S1 IS to get it fixed and now I'm sitting on a brand new S5 IS that they replaced it with. So if you have this sensor problem, now's the time to cash in.

Actually, I work for a Ritz Camera store (not OP btw) and recently a customer with an S1 IS brought his camera in with this same issue, so we sent it out. 3 weeks later, canon sends us back a refurbished S5 IS with his repair paperwork, explaining the details. This is for real, /p/, so definatly cash in.
