Buy a tripod. It's a better shot than the first, but it's been overdone and then some. I'm a sucker for low key though.

You need to work on composition, and learn more about just using a camera. Read up on shutter speed, aperture, exposure, and metering modes (these will be specific to you camera, sort of).

Don't use auto settings. Set your color space at least to sRGB, though adobe rgb is better if you are doing anything more than posting them online.

Not particularly compelling pictures. These look like things that would look really neat in real life, but when rendered in two dimensions, they just look flat and lifeless.
