toying around OPFOR !8vKpfCqy8A
I have been playing around with this image for the longest time with no luck. Do you guys find yourself revisiting old photos just to see if you can polish them into something better?

Here is the second photo of a model that I posted a while back. I have been holding off posting this because I don't think this compares with the first photo in the set. Enjoy.

Post the first photo again, I missed it

Kinda like this... technically it's great, but the model's eyes look slightly sleepy or something?
I'd also hide those bags(wrinkles) under her eyes slightly.
Great colors though, they flow together very nicely.. her shirt and hair rocks

But yea, post the other!

As for your question, I never really do.
Only did it once with a pretty revealing nude I was not allowed to upload at the time, a year later I did

I like this photo better.

The problem with that one is the angle of the light. Her face is in shadow, so that gives the baggy eyes, etc...
You could maybe blur it a little bit to make her look less "crusty".
If it were my pic, I'd likely either trash it (not literally) or radically alter it with some kind of wicked contrast to blow out the highlights and sink in the shadows to give it a weird look, so it wouldn't matter anymore.
I don't usually spend alot of time editing a pic. I just take as many photos as possible, so I have a bunch to choose from and hopefully have some good ones. I've found that it's hard for me to go back to a photo after a period of time - like if the experience of taking it isn't still fresh in my mind, I'm not sure how I would approach editing it. My best utilitarian and creative edits have been done within a week of taking a photo.

This is not a troll..
I want some post processing tips on this one..
You simply did selective desaturation?
Is there some overlays with blur or diffuse glow?
Maybe solid color layers with color blending?
Can you please give me some leads? Thank you

I love this 2nd pic very very much.
I'm also curious to the post-processing you did.

The second picture was done only in light room so there is no layering involved. Your right with the selective saturation but I did not completely pull the colors out. I kicked up the vibrancy, blacks, and the contrast as well as did some split tone work to bring out the hair and eyes. Also, I tend to kick up color temperatures in photos because I love warmth but thats a personal preference.
