Dear /p/I just bought a Nikkor 28mm f/2.8butI found a 24mm f/2.8 for like $80 more.Should i send the 28mm back and go for the 4mm extra wideangle?(shooting film, though that really doesnt make a difference)EXIF data available. Yes.
So it's definitly worth the $80 bump?
If it will help, think of it as $20/mm.But honestly, I don't know if it's worth it. I haven't used the 28mm f/2.8. I guess it depends on what you already own.
>>260958No. It's worth the bump if you want to go wider, which you may or may not.
Go for whatever one gives you better IQ.
>OP here.I've been using a 50mm f/1.8 for a little over a year, i've played around with wideangle a bit with digi, but i was wondering more about lens quality overall.
From what I've read, the 28 has slightly better IQ, but I don't think it's anything significant that should sway your choice.
