hello p can you help me out

my friend said that for pictures of little things i need a micro lens

i think this is a micro lens since it is the smallest one i can find can it take good pictures? also it has a little picture of a flower on the side so it must be able to take pictures of little things

Assuming you're not a troll:

What you need is a "macro" lens, which allows you to focus closer and thus take pictures of small things. A "micro" lens is Nikon's trade name for their macro lenses. It's stupid, I know.

The word "macro" should be in the lens' name if you're using Canon, so look up those. This lens is not a macro lens.

50mm F/2.5 Macro is the lens youre looking for perhaps.

That lens is just a fast prime, a REAL macro lens would be better construction and cost ten times more.
