Don't know what bash.org is, and it's down now.
The issues of subjectivity and the simple fact people form positive-negative judgments still stand, and I'm not so sure about the premise that certain heavy stylistic things automatically make a photo fail. I like straight black and white with a normal lens and lots of depth of field for my own stuff, very simple, very content and composition oriented. But that doesn't mean a shot taken with that new 21/1.4 wide open with the corners burned, lots of sharpening and saturation, etc. would be bad or not to my liking. /P/ just looks at the superficial aspect of pictures, notice the bashers never point out what they do like. Tripfags post good work and bad work, but they never attack the actual substance or creativity of the work. Just pick a few talking points about whoever's style and repeat them ad nauseum.
