Hay /p/
I did some small course on photography but apart from that I'm pretty new to it. I don't have a camera at all and I'd like to buy one. Since I don't know shit about taking pictures what do you think I should buy? Should I already get a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi while really I don't know if I can take nice pictures at all? Makes me wonder how all of you guys got started.
Also, someone near me is selling a Polaroid SLR 680. I sort of want to buy that instead of the Canon now cause it's cheaper and might actually get worth more over years cause it's a collectors item, kind of.

try getting a Fujifilm s700 if you want digital, not a bad camera for beginners, though not a dslr, you probably wont need one until you've gotten a little bit of skill built up. Also, if you feel that film would be a good format for you, try getting an old pentax k1000, it's nice, and slr.
