Can you use Canon lenses on other DSLR's using adaptor rings? If not why not and if yes then what are the cons if any?

In general no, because the EF mount is OMG XBOX HUAG. It's hard to make it fit inside anything else.

This post is right that you can't, but it's actually because the mount is so *short*. Like his cock.

The only SLR mount that will take them with no problems (except manual focus on viewfinders about the size of the tip of his cock) is Four-Thirds. Other mounts, if anyone's bothered to make such adapters, have to either include an extra element in the adapter that will shit up the lens, or lose the ability to focus out to infinity.

So if you're looking to adapt the MP-E, you should have no problems except finding an adapter. If you're looking to adapt, say, a typical 35mm, you're fucked.
