>>40390 lol unless you don't know what you're doing, a 50mm macro lens can keep most hobbyists happy. I'm a professional, and I barely ever use any lens but a 90mm (equivalent to about a 50 for small format, I shoot medium format- 67) Telephoto just runs down your f-stop generally, unless youre paying thousands, dont bother with lenses too much. all you need is a uv haze filter to keep your lens safe, dont go out and buy like a polarizer.
