do you save your photos in photoshop on the highest quality each time you modify it?
i saved one of my photos on the highest quality after i only did the auto level adjustment and the photo size got 2 mb bigger...

Nope. I only save a resized-for-web copy at the end of all of my postprocessing, unless I do some really involved PP (i.e., color correcting, levels, etc I discard; Lots of work with the clone/heal tools or other manipulation like that I'll save if I think someone might want a print at some point).

My thought is, I suck a little bit less at postprocessing each time I do it, so I'll do a better job if I go back and PP it from scratch again later.

I delete only the worst photos (100% un-usable), I save the RAWS for what i don't throw, and what i don't use.

For what I edit, I save the original RAW and the PSD.

Theres no reason not to, hard drives are relatively cheap for a huge amount of storage,

I save the RAW files, do my post in Lightroom and export whatever format I happen to need for that particular image or set.
