Did you have any issues with the LCD at that point?
>> ac !!VPzQAxYPAMA
>>115388
Nope.

However, it was too fucking cold to do any serious chimping, so I might just not have noticed.

Sweet thanks, sounds like i need to go out tonight and see how it works out, its 23 degrees now so tonight should be a good time to test

Are we talking about Fahrenheit or Celsius?

I've not had trouble with the camera when out at below freezing temperatures.

I've shot in -20 in Canada, its no biggy, just dont leave your stuff outside too long

At the Ski hill today it was -14, D50 did fine, no slowdown on the LCD or low battery issues.

NimH Batteries are much worse than Lithium though. So DSLR's are usually much better in cold weather.

-10 with a 30D

it's fine as long as you keep it in your coat when not shooting

rebel xti at -23 in truckee, california.

the real problem is temperature acclimation. If the air is -23 and your lens/body is 70 you get problems. as long as it's not snowing, leave your camera to adjust to outside temperatures.

-36C in Heilongjiang Province, China, with my D70, battery didn't last long at all.

-30 celcius for my 30D.

Just remember, when you take your camera inside again, let it warm up wrapped up in a plastig bag.
