damn exif didnt come over. Shot with 450D w/ 17-85mm lens, f4.5 i think and i dont remember the shutter speed. im not at home so i cant check the original, but it was edited in lightroom and Pshop
>> ?suomynonA ??????????
very nice!
the attention is pulled away from her face a bit though, for some reason i find myself looking at the hair between the face and the chest... but still, i like it

thanks a bunch man

heres one i used slightly more saturated colors for and a slightly closer shot
>> Anonymous
>>271982
the first one was good just because you thought she was good looking.. the second messed that up. Its a shemale right?
>> Anonymous
The subject and the background have the same tone. I would like to see the background underexposed so that the foreground 'pops' more.

Oh, and train tracks are cliche.

if she is, id still hit it

thats a really good idea. I'll definitely play with that a bit when I get home (dont know why i didnt think of that before >.<)

lol I know im going to get shit for this one, but for the sake of completion, heres the last one in the set... HDR tone mapped...

>>271995

Fuck it, I like it, except for the house in the upper right corner, but you can't do anything about that.
>> sleepingjesus !!EUSvSB1EC8u
>>271995

The track on the left side leads me right past your subject. She's maybe the third thing I notice in that shot.

>>271995
That's quite ok. You're better off without the HDR but it doesn't hurt my eyes.
The OP pic is by far the best.

>>271995

I'd like to see this cropped down a bit, so it was shorter.

> HDR

kill yourself now

I don't like any of the photoshoping you did on these. It looks very armature.

>>272008
I think I do have to work on my compositions a bit, I find i frequently do have a lot of distracting elements in my pictures.

>>272032
what would you change differently? the color tone of the pictures?
>> hV !!Uu8NMl1et5d
>>272025
There is nothing wrong with this HDR compared to most shit /p/ gets.
>> Anonymous
>>272044
Less is more when it comes to photoshop. You just need to back off from the gimmicks a little bit. The second one is a little closer to what you should be aiming for as far as the post processing goes.
>> Anonymous
>>272046
It might be a little better than some of the HDR we get but it's still pretty bad.
>> Anonymous

:(

I dont think /p/ would consider any HDR good lol.
>> Anonymous
i wish a train would have come by and smoked both of you.
>> Anonymous
>>272056

that would have made for some pretty good pre-death shots. meh, ive only been shooting for about collectively a year or 2 or so, so i'm sure in time i'll get better. especially when all the damn photo classes arent full before I can register for them.

It's only good if it's realistic like this guy's picture here

lol well my little photo philosophy so to speak is that i like the pictures to not look like they would in real life, since you could just as easily go see it with your eyes, and instead go for a more surreal look. I unno, just me I s'pose.
>> Anonymous
>>272069
There is a fine line between surreal and tacky over shopped garbage. You haven't found yourself on the right side of that line yet.
>> beethy !vW/UaE6zYU
>>271971
Pretty fucking cool... She looks hot here.. .the colour combinations are great and the angle/setting work well too. Love it.
>>271982
Not as good at all, the light on her face isn't flattering at all.. and the framing is too tight.
>>271995
no, just a huge sea of bright colours.. very distracting.

OP, /p/ doesn't mind HDR stuff as long as it's not over the top and the photo has good composition... what /p/ just gets a lot of is shitty snapshots with HDR tacked on.

you suck

i like your shots OP... great location, great lady

Need more EXIF.

Her eyes look a bit wrong. Too dark. Can't see the whites. Also, I think it would be better if her bra weren't peeking out of her tank top there. That being said, overall, I like the shot.

>>271982
I like this shot a lot more because her eyes look right in it. However: again with the bra, and I find the various little bumps and blemishes on her face distracted. They'd be barely noticeable in real life, but in a flat, static photo like this they draw the eye.

>>271995
Despite the HDR, this is my favorite of the bunch. The HDR isn't overpowering--I.e., you didn't just issue a fatwa on all shadows--so it mostly just looks extra colorful.
