Either shoot tighter, or don't cut off his hooves. This goes for people too. Feet instead of hooves, obviously.

Whenever you cut off a hand near the wrist or a foot near the ankle, it just looks awkward and unnatural. Compositional no-no.

Nice light though.

Boring composition. Use rule of 3rds, get the horse to look less pregnant(get a better angle). I don't like all the poles. But I agree that the lighting is good.
