fuck the red one, just another tool to destroy the film industry and further flood the market with high resolution crap.

when anyone can afford a "professional grade" camera, we're [camera assistants] doomed.

Though, I wouldn't worry too much, it's not really anything new. Excellent ENG cameras have been "cheap" for years and the film industry hasn't croked yet. Why would them being digital and (slightly) cheaper change anything?
Nobody wants to pay to watch a torrent of hacks running around in shit light, with shit writing, shit talent and no steadicam

i own panasoic HVX200 with some extra accessories for it and i love it... and if you really can get your hands for one that cheap dont even think about it. buy.

and if not tell me where it´s that cheap?

what ENG does 4K and has a PL mount with a 35mm chip? and a decent eng is more even more, f900r is listed at 80,000 for 1080p.
a red package (minus lenses) is somehwere around 25,000.

anyway, I'll tell you exactly how it is on February 2nd. I would prefer to never work with personally owned cameras, and giving people the opportunity to own one makes life hell.

I don't understand your issues with this situation or these cameras. Could you explain it to an outsider such as myself, please?
