Finally got some new equipment in this week:

Mamiya RB67 Pro S + 90mm + powered back
Rolleiflex Automat (Xenar 3.5 version)
Contax IIIa (Color dial version)

It's awesome. Have only used the Rolleiflex so far, and it's better then I had expected. Pic is a shot of the test-roll I did with it on HP5 film, to see if everything was in working order. It does have a lot of flare, even with a good lens hood.

Here's another shot, crappy composition and boring subject, but it really shows the qualities of this lens, if you ask me.

Cool. Does the selenium meter still work? I've been thinking about getting a Contax IIa or IIIa for a while now. Did you manage to get it with the Sonnar 50mm f/1,5? I've heard great things about that lens.

How did you get this shot, I've been around plenty of deer before, and I've never gotten that close

The meter still works, and is pretty accurate. I wouldn't trust it though, it's apparently pretty wide compared to 50mm. You'd be better off getting a IIa and using an external meter, as I'm using anyhow. Sadly I didn't get the 1.5 , but I did get the non-collapsible f/2.0 T Sonnar. I might get the 1.5 later on, if the camera is to my liking. I don't quite like the infinity lock though.

It's a tame deer, and I offered em my sandwich in return for the modeling.

Also, these were shot on an overcast day, with very flat and dull lightning.

You should have moved a foot or two to the left. The tree branches obscuring the gazebo looks terrible.

Take a bit of time with composition, especially medium format.

Thanks, I did walk to the left and right quite often, wondering if it would be better to have a little part of the branches in front of it, or not. I suppose I'd have better taken both.
