I'm hitting a wall.

I've got 778 .pngs of various sizes and aspect ratios, and I need to resize all of them to a standard 225x125 px size, which equates to a 1.8:1 aspect.

I know the logic of what I want to do, but not really how to implement it with photoshop's action system. Can someone help me find my way?

Not sure if it is possible...

Because of all different ratios, sizes, and other shit.

Might be a bit of a problem D:

Resize by percentage, not pixels.

i don't understand what your confusion is. it is one of the easiest things to do with batch commands

Are all the starting images of the same aspect ratio? Do you have some square and others rectangular and so on?

You want them to be exactly 225x125 at the end of it all?
Resize image to 200x100(longest side) and then resize canvas to your 225x125 with the canvas growth colour something not displeasing to the content.
