I shoot with an OM-2 occasionally, and it's quite rigid, but probably not to the bunker-like specification of, say, the minolta T-201 (my sister has one). It's huge, and not to mention, heavy. She dropped on some rocks at the beach once, and all it has to show for it is a small dent.
Personally, at this point, cases are a matter of functionality and aesthetics, so pick whatever looks good, and holds whatever you need [film, filters, whatever]. You probably won't be satisfied with that either, as you'll want to carry along more lenses, a flash, motor drive, etc etc. Usually I just carry mine on a shoulder strap at social events and stuff. It's durable, but it never hurts to be careful.
