Ive got one, but i actually find them annoying especially when trying to open menus.

I use them for vectoring, maybe some dodge and burn, but thats mainly it.

I just got one myself. Same base model Bamboo as the OP pic, since I wasn't sure enough how well I'd adapt, and didn't want to make the jump to an Intuos.

I'm actually surprised at how quickly I'm getting used to it. Maybe it's because I've got a TabletPC and a Windows Mobile phone, which both are stylus-based, but it's already become totally natural as a mouse-replacement. It's also great for vectoring/selecting/masking and burn/dodging in Photoshop, worlds better than a mouse.

I actually have the Intuos III and I use it for all my shooping. I am a fashion/wedding photographer and also a full restoration technician (i.e. I fix old photos) and I love my wacom. It has 2000:1 sensitivity ratios vs a standard mouse.....which is INSANELY necessary sometimes. From what I've found, smaller ones are better unless you want to go full force and buy the screen *drool* LOL......

anyways....once you learn to use it, it will completely transform what you do. I hate using a regular mouse for anything.....I rarely even use the mouse it came with...I usually use the pen for everything. Dont forget to customize your buttons...I usually keep one set to act as an Alt button so I can keep it in my lap and not even have to mess with the keyboard :D

Once you use one you can never go back to using a mouse shooping
