I'd say you're about on the money.

If its fog then its kinda cool because it has the definition between depths of field. If its your sub-kindergarten photography skills then its fucking crap.
The sillhouettes of the tree and the wind turbines are cool.
Cool setting, bad photographer.

OP here, yes it was a misty morning. I know I am a n00b, but hey you can't learn much in 5 months.

5 months is a long time. You should've picked up some decent ideas on composition if you were really trying to learn.

If you waited a few more minutes then the lighting would've been much better.

Also, use photoshop to crop.

Near enough. Scotland.

Uh it was plenty light, in fact the sun was about 10deg up in the horizon. Although I was trying to keep it kinda dark on that shot for the house, trees and turbines to be silhouetted.

And when I say 5 months, I don't mean 5 months straight. Anon works long hours, and the weather here is too shit for it to be worthwhile going out every day. Have another poorly composed picture to diss!

Complete tangent but you might be interested in this? I remember the one from a few years ago (when I didn't have a camera), you should have some great opportunities for playing with long exposures :)
