I really, really like the first three. The last few seem kind of blah, but I just can't get enough>>161998

Did you fake DOF on these?

Its just something about them looks unnatural, especially the first.

thats exactly what i thought

Inclined to agree with you. The van is defocused while the ground right next to the van is tack sharp. Weird?

lol, BUSTED!

Needs more Deep Vs.

fake DOF is fake
>> Anonymous
About the van thing... I noticed that too, but figured it was moving or something
>> Anonymous
>>162166
Funny thing, the tire is the only thing that looks like it's not moving on vehicle in the first picture.

>>162167

Ha. You have a point, Sir. That does it for me. Fake dof /IS/ fake.
>> lobstercake !pJDFbJZtxk

that ice cream bar looks pretty tasty though
>> Christopher !LQd6JHwoaQ
>>162146

Fuck! lol it's true.

First shot wasn't as tight as I wanted so I added a bit of "DOFness" up front. Guess I fucked up bad! hahaa, Is PP a no no?

Fake DOF = RAGE!
Otherwise, nice shot.

>>161999
Boring. Off-level ground seems unintentional and sloppy.

>>162000
See above comments.

>>162001
Too snapshot-ey.

>>162002
Too snapshot-ey.

>>162003
Uninteresting and lacks solid focal point(s).

>>162005
I like it. Urban, foreboding, and yet serene at the same time. Lots of layers to hold interest. Best photo in the set.

>>162006
Gay art-school shadowfaggotry.

>>162008
Nobody who isn't a bikefag cares about your fucking bike seat. Get in closer for a better composition.

Postprocessing's fine. We just object to *bad* postprocessing.

No EXIF. What sort of camera are you shooting with? If it's an SLR, you should be able to get a wider-aperture lens for it.
