Hai /p/

Lenses you would consider changing your gear for. I currently use Canon (D)SLR's with some of the very best lenses (70-200/2.8IS, 85/1.2L2 and the MP-E macro), but im all wet for the Olympus 35-100mm f/2.0 zoom and the 20mm f/2.0 macro would be very nice too.

I would consider getting a Four Thirds for the pamcaek 25/2.8 (on an E420) and the f/2.0 telezoom you mentioned.
>> ac !!VPzQAxYPAMA
Oh, and of course Canon screwmount rangefinder for the 50/0.95 and Leica for the Noctilux.

You didn't really get my point. I was looking for equipment that you would want your preffered camera manufacturer to have and you would consider getting even if your current equipment is as good as it can get.

Apart from those bullshit canon/nikon fans, you know.

Er. Um. Okay. Then I wish my camera manufacturer had an f/0.95 lens and a 70-200mm-equiv f/2.0 zoom lens, I guess.

I'd probably trade my Pentax gear for Canon.

The 40d behaves really well at high ISO and autofocus is more decisive when lighting is shit.

That said, Pentax Limited lenses are second to none, and in-camera stabilization is the shit.... and Pentax has better ergonomics, too.

Soooo. Pentax FTW

I'd go to Contax rangefinder just for the uncoated Sonnar look. I'll probably just find one and adapt its mount.

aww.. thats sweet.. i didnt know the Hitler Youth group was still active these days.

What does an uncoated Sonnar look like?

I dont have an account for that forum, but I found other pics. Doesnt the lack of coating mean you'd get a fuckton of flare though?

Yup, but that just means using a hood and being careful about where the sun is.

Question: How come they don't make adapters that let your Canon connect with a, say, Minolta lens? Is it physically impossible?

Ahh, should have known. Thanks.

You do get adaptors to use different lenses.
