Nikon D80 Anonymous !Bjd0a/XWuE
So I just bought the D80 and you can really tell that its not as well built compared to the D70. But I am happy. For now. AU$1300 anit bad after the cash back :D $100 off because it was the last one and a demo body.

rofl, no. D50 is like the D40 and D40x. Its a wanna be D80, which is a wanna be D200, which is a wanna be D2X. Ill stick with the D70 and D80.

ps. The D70 just fucking rocks!

Lol D70 has shitty ass looking noise above ISO 800, the D50 is total win for that, I would take a D80 over the D70 anyday, And tomorow I'm going to buy the D200, Which I would take over the D70 or D80 any day.

Of course I'm keeping the D50 still, That camera is amazing, and cheap! I take it pretty much everywhere.

If your shooting anywhere around the 800 ISO mark, you deserve shitty noise.

Why? Most of the currently produced DSLRs produce very decent results at ISO 800, especially with some NeatImage.

Lol Thats what Alpha users say.
Also I shoot at ISO 800 all the time when the lighting is decent, Baseball games are usually night games, So to keep the shutter speed up near sunset, you need High ISO's. Therefore the D50 is serious win there.

There is a reason why the D50 is no longer around. Also if you can afford a D200, why have a D50? But truth be said, Nikon have great cameras. I would have loved a D200, but not for the price they are asking.

You've never heard of the concept of a backup body?
>> Anonymous
wtf, why are you guys complaining about noise over ISO 800? We're talking about dslrs here.

D70 at 800 isn't bad at all, just overexpose a little bit. I don't really like it above that for anything bigger than a 5x7.

because us /p/hags bite on trolling pretty easy, apparently

Its not bad at 800, but anything over that gets pretty bad pretty fast.

Also you don't always have the option to overexpose, and it isn't always the best way to take a picture.

And of course we want better than ISO 800, we are never sated, Its a fact of life, There is unlimited wants and limited resources. We NEVER are happy with what we have!

Real men only use one body.. at a time.

Mark 3 @ iso1600 is better than most cameras @ iso 400. Also 3200 is perfectly usable, and 6400 too, if you really need.

It's a five thousand dollar body. It should fellate you while you're shooting at 6400.

None of the rest of the thread has anything about 1k, maybe.
