I found a shitty ass lens at Ritz for $60.

Quantaray 100-300mm f4.5-6.7

And you know what, it's really not that bad.

Yeah it's not. And a nice filler until I save up for an 80-200mm f2.8

Sample picture when I was messing around. I have yet to really use 300.

Is it AF? Looks decent at 100mm, sounds like a steal for $60

I just picked up a Sigma 50-500, Should be here on monday, Of Course I paid about $600 used for mine. But it should be a fun lens to mess around with regardless. Long zooms are hilarious to mess around with for me.

Yeah it's AF.

It was on clearance, regular price is about $100 even.

Where did you get it for $600 used?

Nikoncafe, I buy most of my used stuff from there
Its actually $540, but after it crosses the border I anticipate paying 12% tax on it aswell.

Here's another one from the same set taken with a 50mm and a red filter.

Thoughts?

I agree, the bokeh looks like crap in the 2nd pic, but for 60 bucks you cant beat that sharpness... nice find!

Nothing wrong with the bokeh there.

Not as smooth as a 1.2 or 1.4 lens but nothing wrong with it.

It's all subjective anyway.
