rightI wanna know what the degree unit in the specifications of the film has to say.for example: PAN-F Plus - ISO 50/18°Pan-F Plus = nameIso 50 = sensibility to light at cost of qualitybut /18° ???if you answer please not just one line, thx
it is not a temperature but DIN the German version of ISO.
18° = ISO 5021° = ISO 10024° = ISO 20027° = ISO 40030° = ISO 800I think it's just another, older way to indicate the speed of the film. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Pan-F always does well on my character curves because it is so sensible. :D
>>296692Technically the German version of ASA. ISO is both the ASA and the DIN combined, hence "ISO 50/18°". Just that nowadays nobody really lists the DIN part of it.
but iso and asa are popular around here.anyways! thx!
