so /p/ whats the exposure latitude like on ilford pan f plus? i just got three rolls and my light meter is broken in my camera. i heard its not very fogiving but i can deal with over exposure no problem. ive printed from negatives that look black to the naked eye.

I've shot with this a few times. Not enough that I'm going to go off on you like some of the pedantic fucks running around, but I will say this:

You're going to need a meter. Really.

Pan F Plus is a good film, and it would be a shame to waste it when you aren't going to get good results. Granted, I'm not saying that you aren't guaranteed to fail here, but, why fix in the darkroom what you can do right at exposure.

Just a few thoughts.
