I don't know about insects... but it the crop looks a bit too tight, and just centering the subject is prett boring :-P

I wouldn't mind a smaller picture either, because my display is so small. Your mileage may vary, esp. with 2560x1600res monitor :D

Actually my widescreen monitor is 1280X800. I just fit it to screen without stretching it.
I took others. If you can't tell, I do a little bit of photoshopping, but I only shop the best ones. Here's one from another angle without shopping and if you think it's worth it I'll do it. I really wasn't sure if this one was better or worse than the OP.
It's hard to mess with angles when I'm trying not to scare the dragonfly away :D

Currently my favorite; but too many areas are whited out from the exposure and you lost some detail in the process.

The Top one (unless it's specifically my monitor) is cool, but looks underexposed.

better than the OP, btw, (in my opinion) leave it as-is.

MY EYES! THEY BURN!
A little over saturated, don't ya think?
Here's the one from a different angle. Also, ya I know the other one is overexposed. It's not perfect but I like it anyway.

Definitely better than the first, more interesting angle.
>>66014
Maybe back off the saturation just a little. I prefer the pale colors of the unedited version.

I didn't even touch the saturation slider! ;-P

Well however you did it, the saturation/contrast is a bit much. It has to look realistic.
It's also possible your monitor has low contrast so it looks normal to you.
