Lassoo, invert, desaturate is fail. Doing it in RAW is leet, therefore wins.

Yeah well, I happen to like selective desaturation sometimes guys. Not particularly on these pictures, but anything can be put to good use. Not OP btw.

Number two is pretty good with it, I think lowering the saturation of the blue so that it blends in a bit more would help. As is, it stands out just a little too much.

this one makes me think of my FZ-7. It is absolutely unusable in dark with any kind of fire or red light source around... even on tripod and iso 80, the image is relatively sharp but but I get a blue/violet color noise all over the frame that looks exactly like what you did on purpose there XD

If it's done on a Canon 400D then it's automatically fail.
