Shoot it again.

awesome setting and nice bird, but should have shot it closer to the ground imo, too much empty river
>> Anonymous
yeah ill probably be cropping bottom out alittle. as for the zoom this was as close as my lens i had let me get to it. and its not like i could say..hey bird...fly across again so i can get closer

I'm not feeling it. It's not a bad shot, just not... So what do you like about it? You felt lucky because you caught the bird fully spread?

dont have the camera set on iso 1600, and the lens wide open at f/5.6.

More exposure time couldn't hurt, unless you have a fit of involuntary tremors in the middle of capturing it. But perhaps since you were capturing the bird, you chose an appropriate exposure.

It's a beautiful setting, but the photo just doesn't invoke the correct mood, to me.

Wow dude you caught a bird flying that's insanely lucky you never see them doing that, ESPECIALLY in a poorly composed image wow I'm impressed.

So you bought a $500 camera?
>> Anonymous
yeah i bought a 500 dollar camera... why spend 200-300 to learn then spend more later...these still resell quite well...so if im not intrested in the camera wouldnt be a problem and only spent 375 for it anyway..Thats why i was asking for comments and suggestions..everyone starts somewhere..i figured id start with this camera..sorry it aint the way you would do it...regardless of the camera i own..ur point was pointless..
