1. If a photo can't speak for itself, chances are it isn't a very good photo. It's not like this is abstract art, or anything.
2. It strikes me as wrongheaded to decide a photo 'means' something and then fix that in stone, because all the pretentious titles in the world won't force someone to agree with your interpretation. Since that's the case, why bother?
As with all creative efforts- show, don't tell.

I do, but sometimes I fail at it. In your case, there's way, way too much pointless empty space, with makes your photo look aimless. Eliminate it and create focus.
