No.
Why the fuck you would spend 100$ to get this shit ?
You can get old manual nikon/cannon/minolta/olympus body with nice 50 and bunch of good negatives.

Unless you want to belong to this "in crowd" running around with overpriced shit and claiming they are making art.
If so , get the fuck out of my /p/

its 100 because i wanted the 35mm adapter, cable release, ringflash, strobe flash and a fisheye lens for it. the camera itself is like $20. the pictures are sweet though.

"in crowd?" i havent even heard of this before i stumbled upon it. i like the idea behind it. I already have an old minolta that works fine. I also have a canon k2 rebel and Nikon D300. it takes pictures like this.

If you want cheap 6x6 get Lubitel 166 and just dump this lomo shit. It`s decent and cheap camera that makes good photos.

Oh my I love all this rage.

Why not give it a try? Although I've been able to get similar effects with a soft focus filter and cross processing.

don't spend 100 bucks.

holgas are a piece of shit, and you will be severely pissed that you spent a hundred bucks when the back of your camera falls off for no good reason. just buy the camera for 30.

but even that's a ripoff. if you want the gooey soft lens look, go buy a plastic camera from walgreen's or a thrift store for 5 bucks. it'll shoot 35mm with no expensive modifications, and some of them even come with a flash.

and like it or not, holga and lomo cameras are all the fucking rage among the in-crowd these days. the fact that you found out about it probably by word of mouth or had it recommended to you only confirms that.

You can simulate Lomo on a digicam or dslr, no problem. If you have a dslr, get an extra body cap, and a one-buck plastic camera from Goodwill. Cut hole in cap, insert cheap plastic lens, and wail. With a PNS, cut a square of light cardboard so it fits over the lens assembly, with a square cutout for the lens. You should get some nice sleazy effect.
