So /p/Buying a decent digicam, not digiSLR though. Pref with a high iso range and face detection (because its a funky nifty tool)Now i have seen the Samsung Digimax S1050, which is fairly decent and a snip at £149.99 however, last time I bought A digicam (2MP xD) i found that batteries were being eaten like a hungry piranah (Kodak Easyshare somethingorother)Now /p/ Will this camera eat batteries like crazy? and could you reccomend some decent rechargables. Thanks
Anyone?Has /p/ deserted me?

High ISO range is a no-go on a point & shoot.Battery life is crap on a point & shoot. If battery life and high-ISO ability matter to you, then I'm afraid you're going to have to consider a digital SLR.
>>87323thats all true, except when it comes to the Fuji F30 ;)
