Also, I doubt the T/S lenses are sold at a loss. I'm not an optical engineer, so I might be talking completely out of my ass here, but the only obvious technical hurdle I can see to making a T/S lens is that it has to project a larger image circle. And I'm not even sure of that. Canon's T/S lenses don't even have autofocus motors.
