It's supposedly called a "Queen of the Night" but I'm not really sure. The plant sat around getting bigger and uglier for the past 10 years and it finally bloomed this summer. The bloom only lasts one night and smells amazing.

The common name around here is "Moonflower", but yeah.

Earlier this year I made a 1080p time-lapse video of one of these opening using my 450d.

Turned out okay, considering it was outside, without any additional lighting, and the whole thing took place over about 5 hours during sunset.

Pic semi-related, as its the same plant, but using my old P&S.

Have this plant in the yard. They bloom only during full moon, which I find kinda freaky.

My wife and I just bought one of these, although it hasn't bloomed yet. It says on the tag "????" and "Moonlight Cinderella," although the latter isn't listed on the Wikipedia page. I can't wait to take some pictures of this one.

I approve of this thread. Bump for more rare photos.

This is a pic of a parkour dude scaling a bridge over the Yarra (Melbourne), which is highly illegal and rather crazy.
