Good thing you are not in charge of marketing.
It will be there.
For example, (you can all hate Apple all you want but you'd be stupid to say they have poor marketing) you hype up the press with a release, let's say a new iPod. You gather them for a conference and at the end, you hit them with something unexpected like MacBook updates.
You announce a new SCE game then give a price cut on the PS3. That's how shit gets done.
