Is this thing any good for Macros? Please don't rape my orifice, im new to this...

Need a nice solid macro for cheap as chips, and this things 70 quid/140 bucks. Your thoughts?

^ plus extension tubes = decent macro for cheap

by itself, not so much, still fine if you crop

Cool, any ideas for an equally cheap macro? preferably without experimentation...

all 3 kenko tubes, autofocus is dead by that point so this is manual

these are only resized by the way

what you see is what you get = that's a full frame, no cropping at all

damn, good work thanks, ill have to get a tube set too...

out of interest... do extension tubes have any effect on telescopic lens'?
>> Anonymous
telescopic? what a zoom?

if it fits on the tube, yes
>> Anonymous
also worth noting

the longer your lens is, the less magnification you get from tubes

that's why 50mm is the most popular, gives you the most magnification
