you run all these through some photoshop filter? anyway,

>>41238dominated by a huge out of focus object. anything in focus is either being covered up by the rail, or so close to a corner you dont want to look there

>>41240
>>41241pretty boring. just a picture of a few stairs and some alley. nothing interesting in the frame

>>41242a pretty good perspective, but the bridge leads to nothing. you want to follow the bridge to something, but then you just end up looking at half a building.

>>41243also boring. theres too much space above/below and also not much to look at in the frame. theres a bridge, but its tiny in comparison to the picture. theres also two buildings, but one is covered by a tree and the other is getting probed by a crane.

QFT. Don't really have much to add...

You'll have an easier time taking interesting photos if your subject is something interesting to begin with. Take pictures of ordinary stuff, and even if they're great pictures, they're still likely to be very ordinary.

Well actually I like these 2. Of course they are ordinary... but... well I guess that's what I like in them. They give that "oh, I'm in downtown" feel. Of course, they're probably not going to win any prizes; but I like them anyway.

Pictures that kinda look like a movie background intrigue me.
