The problem's more shitty-quality noisy cameraphone sensor and shitty-quality tiny cameraphone lens. More megapixels will let you crop a bit more at the same quality, but a 10 megapixel cameraphone shot is still going to suffer from the tiny sensor and lens.

i like how much blue garbage there is in this shot. everything else but those blue bags and that tiny slice of sky is in a dull earth tone. gives it variety.
