Night shots Anonymous
Hi /p/, i just got a Nikon D40 and I've been a weirdo all night and taking photos from my balcony. What do you guys think of this one? cliche, but I'm new to this stuff.

Also, what would be the best way to put the settings in order to getfast shots of moving objects in low lighting? I'm sure there's more to it than just pumping the ISO setting up as high as possible....right?

Thanks.

pumped ISO, wide aperture and wide angle. Then shutter speed as fast as you can reasonably get it.

s'pretty much it.

wide aperture = out of focus/hard to focus

im talking about shots with a subject of course, not scenery. any tips on getting it right? or do u just have to get lucky with autofocus?

also, in low light you cant see shit in your viewfinder to properly frame up your shot.
