Right /p/ I need some advice, for my project at college I'm going to be taking a series of portraits in the style of some famous pieces of art work, im doing a series of 3: the mona lisa, girl with a pearl earing and one other.

I will dress my model up to look like these paintings, and edit them later etc.

Any ideas for the 3rd painting I could use, and general advice on arty portraits like this?

Not a painting, but a famous 21st century piece.

Try something in the style of Julian Opie, his most famous work being this:

nice idea, but I'm looking more at traditional portraits, and not trying to make them look too artificial, like taking the mona lisa for example and putting a fun twist on it
in a totally none gay way

would be too hard to do, need something more refined and less abstract

>the mona lisa, girl with a pearl earing

like this, clean refined portraits with a bit of age to them

If you can do something a little obscure, Modigliani's painting of Soutine, the one where he's dressed in the black suit.

Or, here, pic related.
