So I set up a little thing on my desk and photographed Snorlax.

Now go fix your lights. It's all about light.

What would you say I should fix with my lights?

It's not neutral at all. For a setup like this, you'd need lights that all have the same color temperature. In this example, your right light is a lot warmer, giving an orange cast over Snorlax. It also blows out the background in the middle right corner, and creates a shadow which could've been worked out with another light on the other side.

Thank you for your helpful tip! This was just kind of goofing around on my desk because my internet was down, but adding lights/using the same wattage would work out better?

>middle corner

does not compute

It indeed does not. However, you'd have to be pretty dumb and underage b& not to understand.

Not only wattage, but also the type of lamp has to be the same.

Okay then, thanks. I'll probably get some actual lights or something if I want to be serious. Or just a few of the same cheap lights from home depot or something.

Try regular old GE-brand "Reveal" bulbs. Really good, even color.

120 watt should be good, maybe one that's 120 for the main light and one that's 60 or 90 watt for the secondary light.

No problem.
Go for cheap lights. Pro lights aren't needed for things like this, you'd be better off getting some strobes with wireless triggers.
