that is a nice photo. correct use of electronics approved.

lack of proper focus/bokeh problems, lack of blatant asininity regarding light and color, lack of retardedly boring subject, noted.

you may have a gold star to place upon your cheek and kiss from teacher.

this one, i could care less about

seriously? the noise on the first one is god awful and that's only iso 800. also, what lens were you using to take this? cause there is some bad bokeh on the second pic.

I'm guessing it was one of the kit lenses.

OP is doing something EXTREMELY wrong if that's how much noise he gets at 800. My bet is that it was extremely underexposed and he used some exposure compensation slider or some other bullshit to lighten it up.

Included is a full size picture taken by a D40 at 1600. Yeah, I know, there's different noise exposure with different lighting, but jesus christ; his 800 looks fucking horrible when in reality, the D40's ISO performance is right on cue with most other DLSRs.

i hope you got her permission

i cant beleive all that noise!! on comparison id also say n00btweak resulted in more noise OR GRAIN MR SMARTARSE than was nescecarry.

do you use on camera noise reduction?

Someones new..

The camera in question has a crop sensor (smaller than the FULLFRAME sensor, which is just slightly under film size)

Cbb to explian the reasons why, as your not even going to read this.. but on a crop sensor you times the focal length by 1.5 to get the 35mm(Fullframe) equiv focal length. This is only approx.

>>198357
yeah i know it's a crop body. but i thought it was 1.6? it's 1.5 on Nikon?

WHy are you idiots spending so much time responding to a troll post with a picture of two squirrels fucking?

One more - I tried as best I could to crop and edit this photo in photoshop, that's why EXIF data is missing. The noise/grain is as low as I could get.
