I made a pinhole camera out of a satsuma one. The photos were shit. Beer cans work well. Its really trial and error

Justin Quinnell.

We were doing pinhole photography in college recently with photo paper. Used Ilford Multigrade RC, haven't got any scans at the moment though.

Are there any websites on how to construct a decent pinhole camera (one which uses photo paper)?

I know I can google it but I wanna see some reccomendations

Make a light tight container of some sort, put in pinhole in it, put paper in the other end of the container.

It's not really the kind of thing you need a detailed guide for, try it and learn from any mistakes you make.

This is a really stupid question, but wouldn't the images (assuming they're b/w) come out with colors inverted?

I made one out of a bin once. It was pretty rubbish tbh.

Shitty pun is shitty.

They're easy to make, OP.

I like to use Ilford Multigrade Fiber.
When I made a pinhole I used a large bottle(like one of those vitamin bottles with the cap). Drilled a hole in the end without the cap. Taped a neatly folded piece of aluminum over the hole but so i can lift it up and expose the hole. Then, in a darkroom put the photo paper(emultion facing the hole) into the cap end of the bottle and screw it back on. Exposure is one of those trial and error things. Depends on weather, time, etc.

Crappy scan but the images aren't amazing anyway.

OP image doesn't look like pinhole to me.
