I was wondering how you /p/hotographers edit RAW files.

I just recently started experimenting with them and I don't know where to start. I downloaded the Camera Raw Plugin for CS2 so I've been fooling around with that without much success.

Tips/suggestions for editing in RAW?

as little work as possible
Get the exposure right first, then RAW editing should be to set the WB to accurate, and the exposure to perfect (Don't go overboard on the highlights / shadows, it can create unnatural looking landscapes and turn people into grey skinned zombies).
Sharpness and noise reduction if needed.

Rest of the editing is done in photoshop after the fact.

Thanks, I've read a bunch of resources online and the only thing I learned was to not blow highlights or overdo shadows.

Otherwise, they all seemed to employ drastic edits with the colour levels and I knew there had to be a better way.
