New to photography, I'd been told that I have an 'eye' for it... any tips on ways or things to start off with?

Find something that you love, that looks interesting to you, then photgraph it. Take a different approach; make it your own. Don't always center everything, because centering all the time is boring. Zoom in, zoom out, move to the side, etcetc. Try to looks at things from a different perpesctive. If you truly have an "eye" for it, then the end product will be unique to you.
