Soup /p/

I have my granddads two old Olympus OM 10 35mm cameras, but I think they're broken. I'm going by a camera store tomorrow to check, but I wanted to drop it by here first. There are no batteries in them, and when I press down on the shutter, the mirror locks up. I can't tell if that's because it's broken, and needs to be repaired (They need to be repaired regardless), or just needs some cleaning done.

I have an OM10 as well. The shutter is electronically controlled, so you need to put batteries in for it to work. Two LR44s will put you on the right track.

Also know as AG13s. You can get several of them for a dollar at a Dollar General.

yep, just needs batteries.

but use the lenses, and get an om-1 or om-2 off of ebay or anywhere else.

they're cheap, and awesome cameras.

the om-10 is frustrating.
