Just took this photo of my mate on the trampoline. B&W = insta-art, right?

Was shooting with my 50/1.8, it was hard to get the whole body in the frame, and the ones that were usually showed ass crack

Anyone got any tips for shooting someone bouncing around all over the place?

boy, are you going to feel dumb...take some steps back or get a wider lens.</thread>

I tried the standing back and ended up catching too much of the background along with the subject

I guess a wider lens was probably needed.

Needs EXIF.

Ignore this, there's no reason that would help, if anything it would hurt because you would have to focus closer for the same framing, which would leave depth of field.

Prefocus, stop down some, keep both eyes open and on the subject, one in the VF and the other waiting for him to enter the lens's field of view. Have quick reflexes.

please learn something about optics and math - for the same format, aperture and magnification, and much less than the hyperfocal distance, all lenses will have the same dof.
Before any of you argue, run the numbers. and remember SAME mag!
