You mean picture books? It all depends on your taste. For coffee table books, I usually have a small stack of Phaidon books on fine art, photography, fashion, and architecture. Each are 10 dollars each. They aren't flat and rather box-like in shape if that matters at all to you.

I would suggest looking for compilations of Ansel Adams, Richard Avedon, Henri Cartier Bresson, and just some other classic photographers.
