Need advice on buying DSLR AMATEUR
Hi there, I'm thinking about buying a camera, preferably a professional one, my budget is around $650 USD, I'm thinking about getting the Canon Xti/400d as shown on pic. Looking to become a professional photographer. Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

my wife and i took our puppy to the dog park one afternoon, and i brought my new d80 to snap some pictures of our puppy. one lady came up to me, asking, "would you mind taking a picture for us, since you're already being a photog for the day?" she handed me her fancy iPhone, which i've never handled before. she pointed at the button to touch on the screen to take the picture. as she turned around, she dropped something, and bent over. meanwhile, i wasn't paying attention, and i asked, "this button?" and accidentally clicked the button. so, the phone took a picture of her behind as she was bent over.

i was too embarrassed to know what to do, so i returned the phone, and ran away.

Then the kit lens is all you need to learn the basics of using a dSLR and taking photos. Once you've used it in a variety of situations and better understand what you can do and cannot do, then you'll be good to buy more stuff (if even necessary).

classic, reminds me of a time in Barcelona. I was there with my family and we went to the beach. I was 19 and had my head on a swivel, as any 19 yr old would, with all the beautiful women walking around and the majority topless. My dad went to take a picture of my younger sister next to the sandcastle she had built when one of the prettiest girls i had ever seen was walking out of the water topless right behind them. Unfortunately that picture never made it our of the store when it was developed. Today I would pay hundreds for it as it is a classic family story.

Believe me you I did everything I could to get my hands on that picture
