Coz man, I love the colors on that.

amazing photo.
was staring at it for a while, i rarely come across photo that interest me the way this does

op, do you have a dA or flickr or something?

I used a cokin 155 gray filter, its not quite like an ND filter as it gives a gray tinge and desaturates the colours, and the provia 400X provided good contrast with the high speed. I also pushed the film by a stop to make the contrast even stronger.

filters are really hard to use with a range finder :/
i used a tripod and cable release as i wasn't sure how much light the filter was going to eat as it was quite a dark gray.
no photochomping, straight scan. with ICE turned on.

Very nice.

By the way, what kind of batteries do you use for your E and how long do they last?

i's using 2 Wein Cell Mercury Replacement PX675 zinc air batteries, with the battery compartment packed with paper and tin foil to make them fit.
Still on the original cells, seems to be lasting a wile.

Thanks! I was thinking of purchasing a hi-matic e (because the 7SIIs are friggin' expensive), but didn't really have an idea regarding the batteries.

yeah, i was looking at a 7SII as well, but waaaaay too expensive, also a Petri Colout 35 is my dream little camera, but also way expensive.
A Hi Matic E is a fully auto camera, there is no aperture or shutter priority, just focus and shoot. but thats what i think what makes this camera so cool, its a film point and shoot, i just point and shoot and done, no need to metering, aperture and shutter adjustments.
And the lens is razer sharp too, and fast, so its a good all rounder.
