Probably "The Decisive Moment." I'd probably also really like "The Americans," but I've only seen shots from it, and not even the book laid out online, or all the pictures in it.

(Of course I haven't seen TDM in print, when are they going to reprint it so there's more than first editions for $2000 or whatever?)

There's a new edition that's about £20 from Amazon. Though I'm saving for the 2007 print since it's probably better quality.

my favorite photo book is probably Phaidon's Photo Book, but since someone mentioned that already, i'll say Naoya Hatakeyama's self titled.
