I asked this a few days back but I forgot to check to see if I got an answer and now it expired. I need to take a photo of picture in a frame with a glass front. I can't take the picture out of the frame unfortunatly. Is there any way to take a photo without getting reflections off the glass?

I think, not sure, that polarisers cut down on reflections. Don't know to what extent though.

take it at an angle.

Ah polariser. I will give that a try. Thx.

Take the shot in a darkened room, photo facing the camera lens directly from at least 6-8 feet away, with the camera zoomed-in on the photo. The lights should be far to the side of the camera, also pointed at the photo, but from different angles. Use a flag or a snoot to block any direct light from the lamps on the side from hitting the camera lens.

When I've got a weird angle of light hitting a lens sometimes I'll just hold my hand beside it or stand next to the camera for the shot. Not exactly a professional maneuver, but it works when I've got something unexpected and annoying.
