Hi /p/, i'm a 18 year old Media/Photo student, soon starting (I think) 3rd year in uppper high school. Just passing by but I would very much like you people here critique some of my images.
I've never poster here before so I might do something wrong or whatnot.

I'll start with just a few and if you want to see more then i'll try.

Enjoy. First pic is taken for a project where we were trying different lighting and setting up an improvised studio - it's my father.

An idea I got when bicycling home and I used an editing style to make it look like it was an old picture.

(no need to argue, especially not over the internet, you'd still feel like a retard.)

quite the opposite am afraid, dont mollycoddle him into thinking he deserves praise...

All he has posted here is sub par work, and an attempt to steal a idea from a film by claiming ignorance.

this image has been employed for a long time across many works and cultures, it's an archetype, making up the content of human consciousness as such, emerging from the way our brains are hard wired to read faces into ambiguous detail. in other words, it is not only possible but probable that he came up with it himself. on this thinking, it it very much speaks of possessing artistic flair, the ability to render emotive images being dependent on being able to access archetypes like this.

would you agree? or not?

Dont try and back me into a corner anon :P i dont have a argument with you :P

But yes, i agree with your statement in principle! I do however, doubt that he came up with the idea on his own, or had ANY idea about this idea been about... Am going with the much more likely version, he saw the image, remembered it, took it as a photo, denied all knowledge of the film

Right am off to watch top gear... Ill pick this up later
