ITT Unreal photographs ??????? !KEBab7wem6
Okay /p/,

Time for some unreal photography!
What photographs of yours have come out disturbingly unreal looking? Here's mine; photographed last summer in Hiroshima. There is something that's disturbing me, which kindof wants me to believe this is just a render - the flat, harsh lighting, with all the strong, straight lines going around.

Photographed with an EOS-3 body, Sigma 12-24mm EX DG HSM at 12mm f/8 on Fuji Sensia 100 color slide film.

I a;ways thought this one looked a little fake, since that day everything outside looked so surreal.

This shot is kind of awesome.

I love your photos more and more, Yaranaika.

Just wanted to say that this photo is very impressive.. How did you do that ?

Haha thanks <3

Most of what makes this picture is the mid-noon sun. I tried out a few exposures and this came out the best. Shot with a 12mm lens on film, with aperture around f/8 to give it sharpness.

The Sigma 12-24mm DG lens is awesome, though - no distortions at all, not in 12mm nor 24mm. I kinda regret selling it. :(

this is a pic i took a few years ago on the Rally of New Zealand.

its a TV cameraman with a tripod over his sholder.

before anyone states 'fake tilt' i can assure you that its not, its not hard to figure out what i did when you look closely

your actually quite correct, i put it on here quite a wile ago, but it got burried quite fast, you have a good memory.

>>29516
i forgot to complement your photo, how rude of me. Its amazing on how sharp it is, especially when your using only Fuji Sensia 100, looks like it from Fuji Astia 100F to be that sharp.
i like that yellow Honda Beat, stands out alot

It's just water, but it came out looking like some kind of plastic.

god you guys are waps. sorry to burst your bubble but the only reason anyone is saying things like,

>>This shot is kind of awesome

, is because its in japan. If that was in Texas no one would give a fuck.
>> Anonymous
>>29933
Not true , I like it because it a great example how perspective works in real life. I'd still give the same comment if it were in somewhere like the Canadian prarries (Saskatchewan and Alberta)and showed perspective that perfectly
>> Lindknecht !ozOtJW9BFA
>>29933
Aye, that's not me there.>>29936
But nevertheless, he's right.

From the thumbnail it could also be China or something. It doesn't matter where it is.

But you were right with your argument, though.
>> If that was in Texas no one would give a fuck
RIGHT! Do you also know why? The cars would drive on the other side of the road.

Show me a similar photo by a non-professiona (Don't know if Yaranaika is one at all) from Texas and I will applaud you.
Car's with similar spaces between them, such unreal colors, the rails of the metro and the leads over it. Photographed like everything is either sucked in or blown out by the fixpoint.

I'm not able to explain in English why I like this picture.

i think he means that he likes the effect that the converging lines in the photo creates.

Im sorry but i have to agree with what others have said about the photos of japan on /p/. this is a very basic photo, albeit nice, of a street with cars. It has no feeling or mood. it shows something but gives nothing.

its very well documented that we find the exotic appealing. this tends to blind us when studying photos for aesthetic value rather than its content. eg , "i think the car in the photo is good, so the photo must be good."
>> Anonymous
I like the lines in this photo.

Way to overanalize assholes.
