ITT: Your facepalm moments. Share your 'what the hell?' moments when encountering other photographers.

A few weeks ago I was trying my new gear out at the zoo. I ran into a Rebel user that had her nose in the air. I watched her as she shot. Now mind you this is around 11 a.m. with bright sunlight. But she was shooting in full auto and every shutter press I heard it beep and the flash popped and fired. She'd push it down, recompose the shot, *beep*, flash pop, etc. I wanted to tell her she has over 9000 other options than full auto and flash wasn't necessary when you're outside at sunny midday.

Same zoo, I saw a lady with a (D)SLR on a tripod. She was dragging it around like a red-headed stepchild. The tripod looked like it was made out of sheet metal and sounded like it as she drug it around fully extended almost hitting everyone in her path.

Not saying he wasn't using an entry level camera. He had a good flash and new how to use it and that would be more useful than a pro level body at that point.

Entry level or not, it's got a fucking good chip and produces good results, period. It's a good value.
