Check out the LensWork podcast at lenswork.com/podcast.xml, or find it via iTunes like I did. There's a ton of short episodes with some very excellent insights. I generally agree with this guy, he seems like he knows what he's doing. Plus, unlike a lot of podcasters, he's got a very pleasant voice, which is nice when you're listening to 300 episodes, hah.

Yup! Just pick up one or two issues, first. They tend to pick a few submitting photographers and then showcase their work, along with little captions about the photos, and how the photographers see things. It's very well done and well written. Mostly black and white, too. I can flip through it just for the photos and be perfectly happy.
