1) Resize or crop.

2) I could do a better job with a PowerShot G9.

3) Fuck off and die.

PowerShot G9 should be a meme for /p/.

Kind of like, M249 SAW: power of a M16 and accuracy of a sniper rifle. But I might be doing it wrong.

So PowerShot G9, power of a 1D MK III but?

1. FUCKING RESIZE
2. I think this shot would be a lot better with some postprocessing. (Pic related. And if you think it looks like ass, you should probably just ignore me)
3. This isn't a bad shot, but I think it would be better if you either cropped it or (ideally) had moved forward a bit when taking it to get a tighter framing. The birds sort of get lost in the noise of the forest, to the point that I first assumed this was just a boring plant picture until I opened it up. If nothing else, try to get a shot where one of the birds is looking towards the camera.

Oh, and ignore this guy, other than point #1. He probably couldn't do a better job with a Canon EOS 1Ds Mk III and EF 100-400 L. This is not a bad start. Go out and take more. But fucking resize them before posting.

I...honestly can't tell if you're being sarcastic there or not. I suspect you are, but I don't know what in my post was really worthy of sarcasm like that. The postprocessed picture, perhaps, but I copped to the fact that I very well might have made it look like crap...

'AC' == the common acronym for 'Anonymous Coward' on Slashdot.

(I do occasionally post on slashdot, but under the username 'allanc')
