I am going to say you slid too far down the photography slope and rolled right into mediocre digital art. I will tell you why.
HDR is like makeup on a woman just a little and it really makes her look nice but she can quickly put too much on. When there is too much on you can quickly see that she is a novice at it. Also when people overdo HDR it makes their picture look like it was taken in the eastern block, no color or warmth.
The lighting on this picture is smudgy and makes no physical sense, you have halos around everything, and the bottom of the arch is lighter that the top which is not possible since the light is coming from cloud cover (acts as a diffuser).
Composition: It is up to you in the end but I think you should rotate the image and crop it in a little tighter. Also look up how to do lens corrections, it makes you images look so much nicer.
