no vignetting looks better, but it looks like your focus is on the flys forehead just above his right eye
>> Anonymous
why does exif say 1.8 lens?
>> Anonymous
The vignetting is uneven, presumably from the crop. I guess that doesn't really matter.

They're both cool.

Vignetting works because it rather looks like it's nice lightning

I have no idea actually. I don't even own a 1.8

>>219690
I did that purposefully, to push more emphasis to the face.
>> Anonymous
less drastic vignetting would better, maybe?

You helped me out on my picture earlier on>>219036, and it seems to me like you really like your vignetting. I think the vignette on this shot does well to bring the subject to attention, however I feel that the same could be accomplished if you just cropped out the upper portion of the image, or didn't have as much of a dramatic vignette as in the OP image.

Personally I find the vignetting pulls my attention away from the actual subject, which is never a good thing.

The reflection in this image looks fake as hell.
Is it?

ANd if it isn't, what surface did you shoot on?
>> NatureGuy !se3A3TwzdY
>>219885
No, it is real; and as stated in the first post it's on a lightbox, aka a place of white transparent plastic with fluorescent bulbs underneath it. They're fantastic for under lighting.
