Was wondering if any of you guys train in MMA and how you would train for it.
My friend trains MMA.. idk what he does but he's around 6'2" 200lbs and less than 3% body fat. Hyewj motherfucker.
Easy as pie, train BJJ, grappling, muay thai and takedows from wrestling. After you get good with that you adapt the techniques to your stile of fighting (If you prefer standing up or ground work or whatever way is easier for you)Or you can eat like a pig and drink a couple of beers before you fight, like Tank Abbot.
i train MMA. apart from the basic skillset (boxing, muay thai, wrestling, judo, BJJ) i would highly recommend Olympic weightlifting, or at least compound lifting (deadlift, squat, overhead press) to supplement your training.
