i'm a fatass and i need to lose weight.

yesterday i tried HIIT - 30sec jogging and 10sec sprint. it sucked. i almost immediately got tired, but pushed through it until i threw up (which didn't take very long).

being so out of shape is very very discouraging. my question is: should i work on my endurance (just jogging) before i try HIIT again?

tl;dr should a fatfag build endurance before HIIT?

Just do some running to lose weight in general for a coupel of weeks. Get your endurance up and then do HIIT. Interval training is pretty difficult if you haven't exercise in a while.

Interval training is supposed to be difficult.
If it's not difficult and tiring, you're doing it wrong.

I ran my first marathon about three weeks ago, and this weekend I did some interval training and I had to stop after five minutes of 30 seconds sprinting, 30 seconds jogging.

But you for - it's probably just better for you to do short distance running - i.e. run between 3 and 4 miles and just try to get faster at running that distance as time goes by.
