My gal pal gets into trouble a lot, with guys that are bigger than me. I need and want to learn personal defense.

1) How do I increase bone durability? Is it true that bones grow back stronger after being broken?
2) How do I increase range of motion and flexibility?
3) What are the core muscles one uses in a fight?
4) How can I best learn about self defense?

I hope you can send me in the right direction, /fit/

1. Calcium. Not really.
2. Stretching every day.
3. Back, chest, grip, core, legs. (Stamina!)
4. Take a class, read some books, youtube search "Bas Rutten"
5. Dump your gal pal, aint no tang worth getting stabbed over. (Except Jessica Biel and Gina Carano)

if by gal pal you mean gf, than cool.

If not, don't be a fucking dumb ass, she is a dumb bitch for fucking around with them. She will not fuck you.

tell your fucking gal pal to stop getting in trouble!

1) A broken bone, prolly not, but micro fractureing it makes the bone denser and stronger. Thats the reason why those crazy karate and kung fu guys hit their hands into sand and stuff. But you'll prolly fuck up your joints too.

A broken bone can be a little like a broken tree branch or a welded metal joint, if you have seen one that has mended after a break there will be a thicker part that will have formed a stronger connection. However, it will have less flexibility and is actually more likely to break in that spot if the wrong sort of pressure is applied.

A broken bone is also likely to damage muscles, tendons and nerves, so will almost always be more fragile than an unbroken type.
