Really? Your trainer or fight manager hasn't told you what extra exercises you can do? By submission wrestling are you talking about pankration?
Anyway... kettle bells. Every single fight I know, including myself, use them. Turkish get ups, double hand swing, snatch and press, one arm presses... Also, some of the bjj guys I've met actually roll in swimming pools. Might be something you may want to look into. Not sure if it will help any as I'm strictly a striker.
