Just read the book in like 3 hours, shit was so cash.
For those that haven't heard of it, the guy has weird ass ideas about cardio not really mattering.

I have only read the superfoods list thing, which I follow without even thinking about it. But nah, I've never read the book.

OP here.
Basically,
he says building muscle is superior to cardiovascular exercise. He says for every pound of muscle you add, you burn +50 cals per day, cause your BMR goes up. It's interesting, especially because he claims weight loss (mostly fat) of up to 30 pounds in 6 weeks, without even doing more than 30 minutes of "brisk walking" per day.

yeah but if your training, you should be taking in enough food to balance out your intake or else your muscles wont have enough nutrients

More recent studies show that you only expend 10 cal extra per additional lb of muscle. But I guess if you work out, the potential to burn many more calories during that single workout is higher.

Exercise doesn't rely upon 100% dietary intake. It relies a percentage on bodyfat. You can still lose bodyfat by eating maintenance calories.
