I no longer have the local gym for free anymore. How do I increase my upper body at home? (I only have one dumb bell and noting else, lawl)

Find an over hanging bar (I.E. a swing set in your neighborhood playground) and do pull ups.

if your roof is low enough jump up and grab the edge and do pull ups there. my brother used to do it.

also: improvise on weight lifting: you can use grocery shopping bags as dumb bells. or carry the rest of your folks or your grocery with your bare hands (duh)

You can create a pretty awesome body with nothing more than that dumbbell (how much does it weigh?) two chairs, something to hang on, and hard work.

Also, you can either buy more weights, or just buy /find some water jugs, fill them up with water, sand, or rocks. And use those. I used to work out with a bar that just had a bunch of water jugs on it. 1 Gallon of water = 8lbs.

As for the chairs, they're for a variety of pushups and shit.

The thing to hang on to is for pullups, which will help your back, chest, and arms, depending on the angles.

First off, if you're too cheap to buy weights, then you're too cheap. Second, don't neglect the other muscle groups, or are you doing it just to look good (poser!). Or just do pushups, pull-ups, that kind of thing.

I;m not too cheap to buy a dumbell. I felt like a loser going in and buying just one. And now i'm gonna have to do it all over again.
