My first Squat, Deadlift, Chinup, Press today.
The squat was interesting. My deadlift technique isn't mature enough. I didn't feel a 'pump' on my Chinups, probably because i can only do Chinup 8 reps on the first sets or 1½ Pullover reps. But i did 3 sets to failure just like Stronglift's recommends. The Press was pretty intense.

The squat, you should try it if you don't use it already. Personally, it's much more stimulating and fun than a leg extension, a leg press or machines. I only used 65 lbs even if i usually bench 120lbs, so it probably wasn't as intense as it could be, but it was my first time and you gotta use low weight your first times to get your technique right.

What does your bench have to do with your squat?

Otherwise, good job on trying the things 95% of gymgoers don't. Keep doing them and never, ever stop.

If you would have warmed up properly, which I'm willing to bet that you didn't; you should have had a chance to perfect your technique.

Not much, but i'm pointing out that i'm unbalanced if i can bench more than i squat. I've been benching for a month or two, maybe i'll catch up. Yea you should see my gym it's more of a spa with all those women and machines.

Oh no it takes a while to get it right. Only a third of people get it right the first time. I did 4 sets without weights then 3 sets with weights. More like of technique acquisition than real training.

You should be able to squat ALOT more then 65 if you can bench 120.

You should be able to bench A LOT more than 120 if you're not a girl.
