hey fit how much more does muscle weigh than fat?ive been working out, but not too excessively or anything and i cant tell if ive just put weight on or muscle
You should see the difference not at first, but you will know if it's fat or muscle. If you can't and it's that noticeable, and if you don't have a strict work out plan I'm going to say fat.
One pound of muscle is about twice the weight of one pound of fat.
>>124970To rephrase. One pound of fat is twice the mass of one pound of muscle.
>>124970but wouldnt that make them both 1 pound?
>>124988Naahhh, really? It's basically like this. One lb of fat takes twice the space one lb of muscle does.

1 pound = 1 pound. God.In other words muscle is more dense than fat. So if ur mostly muscle you will look much smaller than someone who is the same weight as you, but carries more fat than muscle. Idk the exact numbers... google it.
This thread contains so much fail.
You all make me cry.
