Newfag here so I don't know if this has been discussed before.
I've worked in retail for about 4 years but I could never work more than part-time because I really can't stand on my feet for more than 5 hours at a time without serious pain. I've gone up to 30 hours a week of standing, but even if I'm moving around most of the time and take frequent breaks they still hurt quite a lot. Outside of work, I can walk about 5 miles without rest before my feet even feel tired.

So what should I do? I've bought a million different kind of shoes and inserts. Is there some sort of exercise that should help? Should I waste my time and money seeing a foot doctor?
I wouldn't even think it's abnormal but my coworkers can stand 50+ hours a week without even needing to sit once. I knew some one who stood 16+ hours a day and she's an obese whale, easily weighing 300 pounds. I don't get it.

They are being serious, do squatz, they are mainly for your legs even though they work pretty much every muscle in your body they'll make our legs stronger and able to endure more.

Your FEET hurt? You have a few options;

-Get new shoes/new inserts with lots of arch support
-Walk around barefoot all the time to build up your feetz structure
-Stop being such a fucking vagina and deal with it until you get used to it like the rest of us

Shut up squat idiots, this isn't a fitness issue, this is a him being a pussy issue

>like the rest of us
But that's what I don't get. Nobody else seems to get this problem. Everyone acts like they can stay on their feet forever without any trouble at all.
It's not my legs. They're not worn out like having no energy, it just hurts. After ~7 hours of standing they'll hurt like hell for the rest of the day even if I'm just resting. And standing still is the worst thing, but strangely they hurt the least if I walk.
I guess what I'm really asking is how can I tell if it's actual feet/leg problems or if it's just a lack of endurance/strength?
