I just realized that after a couple of weeks working out that every time I straighten or bent back my fingers they hurt. Is this normal the first couple of weeks working out, do I need gloves am I just hurting my hands?

same here, i started seriously lifting a month or two ago, and my fingers are stiff and ache

feels like the feeling i get when i use the computer (keyboard) too much

Your dumbbell handles are probably too thin, or you're overworking your hands with free weights.

Don't forget to stretch your hands before your workout. Try diamond push ups.

Also, if you find other joints hurt (elbow, shoulder, etc.), look into MSM. Remember, if you injure yourself, you're just going to have to skip workouts until you're better.
