Just an hero.
It's your fault you smoked, rough it out and see what happens.
>> Anonymous
drink more, a lot more.

I don't know about the brown shit, though. I quit and that never happened to me and I smoked heavily.

I'm the first Anon that responded to your thread.

I always lol at /fit/'s "you brought it on yourself fatty/smoker/innocent mugging victim/house fire victim/random leukemia patient" toughguy act.

But then these friendless nerds would be crying and begging for attention the second they got a minor fracture improperly performing their latest fad workout.

It would uh, probably be more beneficial to ask a doctor rather than here.

It's 3:09 am and I don't go see my shrink till thursday. (not a proper MD but she went to med school for 4 years.)

hard to say without knowing how long you've been smoking, and how much you smoked during that time. coughing up brown shit isn't all that surprising--smoke too much and you kill the cilia in your airways; when you quit, the cilia come back, and start pushing some of the crap out that had been collecting

as far as the thirst goes, part of it could be because of all the coughing, with the extra ventilation plus the stuff in your phlegm.

of course, you might've also smoked your way to kidney failure, or fucked up your hypothalamus too, or good old diabetes. again, hard to say without knowing your smoking & general medical history

oh sweet cigarettes have acetic acid, that shits good for you!

What region do you live in? The fact that it's getting much warmer and in the 80's here in the American Midwest might have something to do with your hydration issues.

My dad always coughs up tar for a while when he runs after he quits smoking.

You'll stop coughing when there's no more tar.

That is weird, namefag OP. I'd just try drinking more water. It really doesn't hurt unless you are drinking so much your bladder explodes. I coughed up stuff for awhile after I qit smoking weed. After a week or so I was back to normal. I didn't have any problem hydrating though.

Fuck you niggers, I'm going out for a smoke!

This man, it's most likely your lungs expelling all the shit you put in them, but i'm not doctor, and no one else here is either. If nothings changed in 4 days go see one.

Excessive thirst can be caused by certain diseases as well.

If you're also pissing a lot, then it might be dabeetus.

Just keep coughing, it will go away. Start exercising ASAP. Don't smoke again. Don't bother with the doctor.

Also don't be a pussy. Quitting smoking is hard work and hurts all over sometimes. You will be crazy strong once you're through with it.

OP, this shit is not unusual. While you're smoking you cough up that shit all the time, but little by little and only in very small quantities. Since you've quit, it's started coming up all at once. It's nasty, but the good news is that it's not being replenished by more smoking.
