I heard a guy talking about to help with bad food cravings, instead of just eating the food and swallowing, you just spit it out. So far, I see no problems with this theory - but does a sufficient number of sugars/bad stuffs get dissolved with saliva right away, or is it inconsequential?

Think about it when you put a spoonful of sugar in your mouth. Some of its going to dissolve and inevitably be swallowed.

I think the spit it out theory may help, but you're still going to get some sort of breakdown of the food in your mouth. Especially if you chew it.

yes, it is wasteful of money, I realize that, but I need to stop getting this sugar that I habitually eat daily to stop going into my system. I honestly feel that I am helping trick my body into thinking it's getting the normal bad habit stuff that I do daily. Seriously, if my body doesn't think that I'm getting my usual sugar craving stuff, it goes crazy on me. I'm running out of solutions that work for my messed up mind

The human body is pretty good at recognizing the amount of calories it's eating, and adjusting to match. So when you put something sweet in your mouth, your body is preparing itself to get a shitton of calories.

If it never actually receives the calories, there's a bit of a metabolism backlash. The same thing happens with diet sodas.

Of course, this is just something I read on the internet, and LOL INTERNET

might be true, but only limited to food. your body and brain cant detect how much calorie you are consuming from liquids.

sucks huh?

and yeah, i get this off from the internet. LOL INTERNET

Not Tom

Doesn't make sense - if that was the case, then the body would presumably know how many calories it needs and therefore know when to stop eating
