hey /fit/ i always see shit on tv that talks about how milk builds muscle, and how milk is better than gatorade after a workout etc. etc.

but my friend used to run cross country, and he used to say not to drink milk because it builds lactic acid in your legs faster.

who is right?

I'm lactose intollerant, and can drink milk/protein shakes. On some rare occasions I get diarrhea. Most of the time I just get toxic smelling farts. When I was younger, the diarrhea thing happened every time.
