In this thread we discuss tuna.

It's delicious; it's ridiculously abundant in protein; it stays good for many moons in a can -- but I don't know what to eat it with. How do my fellow /fit/fags prepare their tuna? Tuna on crackers is boring me quickly. Tuna sandwiches are also immensely boring, especially as I have a turkey sammich daily already. Are there any other easy-to-prepare tuna recipes that will keep things interesting?

I can't stand the taste of shredded tuna. I eat tuna on sushi, that's about it.

I eat it plain or with hot sauce and pepper. I like the taste. Sometimes I mix it into pasta with tomato sauce or pasta with a little butter and cheese. Sometimes I just mix it up with vegetables.

Just keep eating it. When gaining muscle or losing fat, eating is for fun, eating is your job. Now go have some fucking cottage cheese.

Use it in pasta rather than another meat. Get some wholemeal pasta (fresh! from the fridge not from the shelf) and cook it, add (or make and add) some tasty tomato-based sauce (NOT cream based, you fat fuck)and heat that up. When it's done, stir in tuna. Tasty stuff

white motherfucking albacore is the greatest thing evar. i like to make some wheat rice, fry it with an egg and coconut oil and stir in some white albacore. try it. if you can make a decent low fat peanut sauce do that too.

I just make tuna sandwiches with salad cream, that's the only way I eat tuna.

Usually eat a tuna sammich before bed with a protein shake or between meals sometimes for extra protein.

I take about two cans and dump them into tupperware, then I mix it with a tablespoon of mayonnaise and a fuckton of chopped celery. Store it in the fridge and put it on some whole wheat bread for a nice tuna sandwich whenever I want it.

I usually just drain the water, throw the tuna in a small bowl, add a couple heaping teaspoons of Miracle Whip, sprinkle on some garlic powder and pepper, then make a sandwich with it.

Key ingredients!

Tuna.
Celery.
Relish.
KOSHER DILL PICKLES (diced!)
Low-Fat Real Mayonnaise (Miracle Whip is for fgts.)

Mix together. Eat!

I also like to throw in carrots as well.

A good idea if you are lacking veggies in your diet is to buy a huge fucking tomato. Cut it about 3/4th down to the bottom like you are cutting a pizza (straight, across, diagonal, etc.) Place the tuna salad you just made into the tomato and eat. Absofuckinglutely delicious.
