soup /fit/.
I just went out for my morning run, I run about 6 days a week for roughly 2 miles on pavement (I know, I know, but it's my only option.)

I had to stop and come back early, something I have never, ever done, because of this pain I've developed in the outside of my foot, opposite the arch. It's on my left foot, on the left, outside, and it doesn't hurt at all when I push on my foot or when I'm just sitting here, but when I try and walk or run on it, it will only hurt with seemingly random frequency. However, it was enough to stop my run, yet I can run through cramps, side stitches, etc.

I started feeling the pain at the end of my run yesterday, and I figured it's some kind of muscle/tendon issue, so I put heat on it to try and expand it and relax it, but apparently to no avail. Any help?

tl:dr I accidentally just my whole foot. Is this bad?

Pic related. It's me not being fat and putting too much weight on my joints/knees.

ur tendons r probly pushing again a bone or something. Take some days off and do all of the various runner health fix stretches (google them).

You probably need insoles.

Are there any explicit stretches/techniques I can use to try and "work" this pain out? I really don't think it's a stress fracture or anything big, just pain from the shoes that is persisting. I have my foot on a bag of ice right now, but I want to try and stretch it out but I haven't been able to find an effective stretch.

Jealous fag.

OP, do you use insoles? If you do, get some new ones, if you don't, buy a pair and use them. It's the best way to deal with foot pain.

Thanks guys. I'm going to (sigh) take tomorrow off, and go and see what kind of insoles I can pick up and perhaps some new shoes.
