Dear /fit/,
I'm 5 feet tall, 128 pounds. I'm female. I guess someone my height should be closer to the 100 pound mark, but I dunno.
An excuse for some extra weight could be that my legs are muscular as fuck, I guess.
Anyways, the fat I need to get rid of is all in my stomach. Lately I've been riding my bike for an hour each day and it feels amazing. My biceps are forming from holding my arms out to hang onto the handlebars, and my legs are just getting even more muscular.
I do sit-ups every now and then, and I can feel hard abs beneath the fat.. Riding the bike has been helping too.
Is it possible for me to just ride my bike for an hour everyday and the fat will just fall off, to reveal super amazing abs?

I guess that depends on where you're biking. Flat ground is not going to take a lot out of you, and you'd have to be a crazy all-day biker to get much out of it. Hit some hills and come home exhausted, on the other hand, and you'll probably see good results, diet allowing.

fat loss is constant in all areas of the body. there is no exercise to lose fat from specific places.

the reason you have fat in specific areas is genetics. the only way to lose fat from those specific areas is to lose fat period.

start counting your calories (even a rough estimate is okay). take the number of calories you eat in a typical day, -500.

Try doing a good diet, no starvation but just go around 1500kcal/day, even if your doing hard training.
Biking 1 hour a day is fucking useless if your doing it for training, you must exhaust yourself to the limit, biking like a fucking beast, or hills. Drink loads of water, skip all candy&soda. I'd say you need more training, perhaps a daily rutine of pushups, jumpingjacks, running, skipping or walking if you so wish, you don't got THAT much fat to lose, It won't take you years, moar like months

actually yes yes it will, but under 2 conditions

it will SLOWLY fall off, and it will come off like that assuming you eat clean, if you dont know how to eat incredibly clean in order to let your body burn fat like whoa i'm not gonna spend forever explaining it just lurk the fuck moar and find it out yourself

make sure you really push yourself when you do go biking, get your heart rate going then take it slow for awhile

for example you can coast downhill and when you have an uphill push as hard and as fast as you can, rest on the way down

Eat healthy meals, 5-6 small meals a day

(forget diets, it's for faggots)

It's all about consistency ... if you work out 6 times a week for 3 months, you will become 100 pounds. It's practically guaranteed.

do not kill yourself if you aren't physically fit, even though the body adapts to stress and blah blah blah you will just tire yourself out so fast it isn't funny, build up endurance. try new shit out, be consistant, and eventually work up to HIIT. you could be doing it as early as this week or next just dont tire yourself out too fast, while at the same time pushing yourself enough to burn fat

Bike HARD...race cars. Push yourself to the limit and focus on your core while riding. Get some carbs but avoid sugar before a ride, and get protein post-ride so you'll burn fat and build muscle. Also, do yoga.

Anyway, thanks for all the help, everyone! I'm definitely gonna incorporate exercise into my daily routine (running, pushups, biking, SQUATZ, etc.) and I'll eat a lot better from now on.

Once you get down a bit, then get into more exercise. Although really, the main reason people get fat is because they eat too much garbage. You can still eat a burger, just not three a day.
