I've never actually tried doing pull ups first. I always do them on my back day after deadlift and pendlay rows. At that time I can do 10 so I figure if I was fresh I could do quite a few more. I should try sometime.

Male, 16 ring pullups in a row. I drop down for less that 30 seconds, and then can start another set of 10, give or take a few. Usually I can knock out 50 before I get fried. Don't get me started on bar chinups now, I'm super effective at those.

Female, 0. But ask me again in a year and I'm sure it will be a sizable amount. Thought my upper body is fairly weak compared to a man's, I'm pretty sure the main reason I can't do a pullup is because I'm fat. I'm carrying around about 40-60 extra pounds of fat that I don't need.

Though my upper body is pretty weak, it does console me somewhat that my lower body is quite strong. I can do lots of weight on the leg press machine. My trainer was quite shocked. I guess it's from carrying around all that fat all the time :/

I'm starting squatz next week.

Female and I honestly don't know. I doubt I could do many if even a couple since I'm really out of shape right now.

When I was a kid, I could do more pull-ups than the boys and enjoyed challenging myself by doing them with my legs out straight.
I wish I could blame puberty for my massive decline when it comes to personal fitness but maybe it just depends on the girl you're asking. I'm sure the athletic ones involved in sports can do a lot.
