Hey /fit/.

I've got these red spots scattered over my stomach, chest, shoulders, back, and neck. They don't itch or burn or peel - they just multiply.

I got them last summer and my dermatologist gave me some pills (of which I can't remember the name). He said it was a common bacterial infection or some such (the name of which I also conveniently forgot), and with like two pills, the shit went away... Until this summer.

Now that I've moved off to college and have no doctor, I come to you. Can you guys name this shit, or the pill I need to get rid of it?

Sorry for the picture quality. Camera phone's suck.

Why does it matter if we can name the pill? Even if we could you'd need a prescription because drug dealers do not generally carry anti bacterial medication.

If you named the pill, I'd know to tell the doctor what I was prescribed last time.

If I can find a doctor in this town soon, that is.

Unless you're going to a shitty ass doctor they'll know what to prescribe you.

True enough. But who knows? He acted like he saw this every day, and Google acts like it doesn't exist.

Do you shave your upper body? those red spots are probably irritated hair follicle beneath the skin. Happened to me when I first started shaving my body.

No. I've shaved parts of my chest and my happy trail, but never my shoulders or back.

Looks like Guttate Psoriasis. Join the club. It'll last a couple months then go away for freakin' years, then come back to say hello again for a couple months. It don't much.

its fungal, not bacterial

your doctor prescribed you ketoconazole or fluconazole or another *azole antifungal. brand names vary. see your pharmacist - you will be able to at least get some cream, here in aus you can get the pills over the counter in pharmacies (they are for thrush, but the same thing. you might have to say its your gf's snatch for them to give it to you)

I had the exact same a month ago.

Its some kind of fungus infection, nothing serious, nothing to worry about. There live all kinds of stuff on your skin, but now this fungus just has the upper hand.

I went to the doctor and she gave me some creme. Takes 2 - 3 weeks for them to go away.
