Hey /fit/. I live in Canada, and since it's almost Canada Day I'll be having a party/barbeque. I just want to have fun without totally pigging out on waybad for you foods, so what kind of party food would /fit/ recommend me to barbeque/serve? Also, I'd like to knock back some brews, but being a woman the little six packs of smirnoff fruity shit I used to drink are packed with sugar and are high in calories. Is there something you guys would recommened that is nicer tasting but better for me? Thanks in advanced. I was going to ask /ck/, but knew I'd get better ideas from /fit/.

Marinate chicken breasts, bone on, in white wine, olive oil, fresh rosemary, crushed garlic. Grill em up and eat with grilled vegetables. You can't go wrong.

Drinks: switch to these --

1 1/2 ounces gin
1/2 lime
soda water

Squeeze lime over ice, add gin, and top with soda. A bit of a guy drink, but really refreshing and as low-cal as you can get if you must drink.

Hey fellow Canadian, I was in the same boat as you. Honestly, read some of the "Women's World" magazines and such if you want stuff that looks nice, tastes good and isn't incredibly bad. As for drinks, what I plan on doing is having a couple shots of 151. Mostly because those couple shots will knock me the shit off my ass and I therefore wont have to drink as much. I'm pretty sure you can buy Bacardi Breezers with half the sugar, and any LCBO will have diet alternatives to your favourite drinks/drink mixes. Good luck though, bonne fété du Canada!

More than likely some drunken badminton or other sports.
I've also just taken into consideration to just have Canada day as my cheat day, but I still want kind of healthy.
