soup /fit/

Like a bunch of people probably have, I have finally decided to get off my ass and do something about my weight, but I have issues with excercise, While my diet isn't perfect, it's good enough for me to be losing weight and sustaining what would be considered a normal weight (I have spoken to a dietician) my problem is excercise and motivation.

I finally have the motivation, but don't know what to do for excercise. My problem is while I'm not normally introverted, I get self conscious when I'm excercising around other people, so I'm looking for a good workout plan I can do privately / semi privately.

I'm cool with walking / jogging (which usually is alternating between jogging and walking because I'm so unfit) around the block and stuff.

tl;dr: how do I excercise in my own home without buying equipment?

pic related: left is about how big I am, maybe a bit smaller than pic

I understand the concept behind this but really, wasting money isn't enough to motivate me. I will approach that if I start struggling with it, but for the time being, I'm gonna be weighing myself daily and just forcing myself to do this excercise

Trainers are crap. Jog, pushups, situps, pullups if you can, bodyweight squats really is the best advice, you won't get hueg, but it doesn't sound like you want that. Here's your simple guide to body weight squats: http://www.frixo.com/sites/fitness/exercises/squat.html.

I know it may not seem like it does a lot, but it does, also try doing some Iron Mikes, interlock your fingers behind your head, move one leg forward, and lower your body so you're almost kneeling, raise your body, pull your other leg forward, then repeat with the other leg. Also note, a little bit of money can go a long way at Wal-Mart. Get a jump rope, some dumbells, and a benchpress set if you're real enthusiastic. A 25 pound weight held to your chest while doing situps is real affective.

Trainers help you exercise and eat right, not just do it. Basically they perfect your workout to maximaze results.

Eh, true. As someone who knows how to workout I guess I think they're just unnecessary.

I actually have an old adjustable dumbell set and was gonna progress onto that eventually but for now I struggle enough with the basic stuff.
