Sit tight for a month with no exercise other than walking around. Scale your diet back and still eat as healthy as possible, and you'll probably end up losing weight instead of gaining it, assuming you were previously active and had a decent BMR metabolism established. Get on a regular sleep pattern, then when once well, start back exercising SLOWLY, and GRADUALLY work back into pre-mono shape.
And be sure to fill your life with fulfilling activities that are substitutes for exercising if working out prior to getting mono was big in your life, or else you'll get clinically depressed and your life will get wrecked for a the next year.
