I have a problem. For the past few months I have been eating like crap and not getting enough calories (usually no more than 1000 calories a day). Then ~two months ago I started working out/running without getting an adequate number of calories. Just recently I started eating more, but I'm seriously worried about gaining fat and destroying my chance of progress for a while.So my question for you /fit/ is if by eating more than my body has been adjusted to for a long time but at the same time exercising, will I be gaining pure fat? Or is there a chance my body will take this increased food and use it to build muscle.The food I'm eating is 100% healthy. No junk, sugar, processed carbs, etc.
