Cold stomach while excercising?! Anonymous
Okay, I know this sounds really fucking weird but next time you're running or something check it out and you'll see that its true...

Whenever I run or do any cardio type activity (cutting the grass, walking a very long distance, biking) when I'm done my stomach is very cold to the touch. the rest of my body is warm or hot and sweaty but my stomach is very cold. Im not overweight at all or anything so I dont see why it would be reduced blood flow to my stomach area, but its like a freaking internal air conditioner or something. It even happens when I'm wearing a heavy sweatshirt or a thick long sleeve shirt.

I've done a few Google searches and have come up with no explanations, just people agreeing that it happens to them and that they've just never notice it before. Anyone know why this happens? out of curiosity? Its so weird to me.

It's not colder.

It's not colder, your hands are warmer due to the increased blood flow to your arms.

no, its seriously colder. my GF who was sitting inside felt it and agrees that its much colder than normal, not even just a little bit. maybe next time ill get some temperatures.

happens to me too

and also my dick is smaller, but that's cuz all my blood is in my legs

and also my hueg muscle thighs push my balls to the front of my body and that pushes my foreskin over my dick like i'm uncut (yeah, i'm cut, whatever)

but since i've lost about 20lbs, my dick looks longer, so it's worth it for it being all weird for a while after a workout

All your blood is in your muscles when you're working out man. /thread

Also, if you're running/working out with your stomach exposed it will account for the drop in temp.

ohhhhh, so the blood is being sent to my muscles as a priority instead. and then once i stop exercising my body resumes its food processing and all that good junk in my stomach area so then it goes back to being normal. never thought of that. thanks.

that's why if you eat a big meal, you feel chilly -- all the blood goes to your stomach to help digestion
