Loose Skin? Anonymous
Ok /fit/ I'm a fit fag, high protein low carb/fat etc not going to go through my entire diet here so we'll simplify it as I eat healthy.

I'm in the gym 4 a week do plenty of cardio and have a proper rotation for muscle groups.

Now then that's the current story and heres the background, I'm 24 now and basically from ages 5-15 I was overweight (at my heaviest I was 5'8" and 220lbs) I got sick of being picked on so I went balls to the wall and dropped like 40lbs over the course of a couple months, of course that obvious left some loose skin since ya know 10yrs of being overweight kinda kills some of the elasticity.

I've looked into abdominoplasty etc to get it fixed but I only really want to use that as a last resort, I'm trying to find natural ways to tighten up the skin as much as possible without resorting to surgery.

Does /fit/ have any suggestions for my dilemma?

Stats as of current:
6'0" 180lbs
Not sure of my body fat % at this point but given as that most everything BUT where my loose skin (stomach) resides is pretty defined.

Help a fellow fitfag out?

your BMI is 24.4

* Underweight = <18.5
* Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
* Overweight = 25-29.9
* Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

i hope thats muscle

Everyone knows BMI is absolute shit if you actually have any semblance of muscle.

Yea it's muscle (hence why I said I have definition everywhere BUT where the skin is)

Not sure how severe your situation is OP, but I'd target the lower back and core with:

Deads
Squats
Overhead Squats
Good Mornings

These can build muscle and thicken up the midsection area and "fill out" some of the skin space.

As long as you aren't a competitive bodybuilder a buff 'U' looks just as good as a fratfag 'V'.

If you were a fatty to begin with and lost 40 pounds in 2 months, there's no way in hell you're mostly muscle. I'd say its pretty damn impossible to lose 40 pounds of pure fat in a course of 2 months. If you lost 2 pounds in a healthy manner at a rate of 2 pounds per week, then its believable that you mostly lost fat. You probably lost more lean muscle than you did fat with whatever method of losing weight you used.

Read the post I was a fatty and lost the weight almost 10 years ago, have either been highly active in sports or in the gym ever since (though I didn't hit the gym as much while in college since I didn't have as much time.
