Hey /fit/,I thought I'd share some of my recipes with you. I thought /fit/ would be a much better place for this than /ck/ because the ingredients for the recipe were created with a bodybuilder in mind. I got some good feedback on a previous thread, and figured some of you might be able to learn how you can make some of the meals I've made. It took a lot of experimentation, and a lot of hard work went into making my food taste good. Believe me, I've made some really awful tasting stuff experimenting.Teriyaki Salmon Rice:I started by throwing approximately a cup of brown rice in a pot with some cold water, put a tight fitting lid, brought it to a boil, stirred and then turned the heat down to low for about 50 minutes. Bam. No need for a rice cooker, just an old fashioned pot with a (preferably see-through) lid.I chopped a chicken breast into cubes and mixed them into the rice when it was done cooking. Then I added cracked black pepper, cloves, powdered ginger, a teaspoon of rice vinegar and a splash of soy sauce. If you wanted to modify this meal to have some healthy fats, I would suggest removing the ginger and soy sauce and tossing in a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil.I'll post more recipes if wanted. I even have sugar-free bodybuilding breakfast cookies.
Oops. Wasn't thinking, long day. In the recipe I described chicken. That's an alternative, but for the pic, I used salmon. I flaked the salmon with a fork and mixed it into the rice.My bad.
