I intend on quitting cigarettes and replacing the urge to smoke while at home with ab exercises. My question is is there such a thing as doing too many ab workouts in a certain period of time? what would be the downside of it?

Next time you're going to post something, I want you to think to yourself, "Is this post smart, is it helpful? Do I sound Like a dumb ass?"

Yes. But odds are you won't injure yourself unless you have horrible form or do an absurd amount of exercises. The worst that should happen is that you will over exercise and not get the benefit from the excess workouts.

PROTIP: If your stomach is fat, ab exercises alone won't give you a six-pack.
