Fuck it /r9k/. My first week of diet and exercise after 7 weeks of doing nothing and I didnt lose any weight.

I done 6 sessions of cardio and one weight session, with 1800 calories a day.

FUCK

Could I have just gained muscle instead or something?

/r9k/ <-- You need to go that way. however your post is on-topic for where you accidentally landed, oddly enough.

Probably composed of plates of sugar is my bet.

rofl.

you don't gain muscle in a calorie deficit. Highly unlikely.

You probably just haven't lost enough to make a NOTICIBLE difference yet. Keep on keepin on and it'll happen. Check again in 3 more weeks and you'll see.

Nope my diet is 6 small meals a day, using Tom Venutos ebook. I already lost 20 pounds previously, but was suprised not to lose any weight in my first week of this new diet with added exercise.

And obviously I'm not giving up, im just pissed because its monday morning and I just weighed myself.

well if you lost 20lbs before, then you should already know that losing weight doesn't happen at the snap of your finger.

Takes time, man.

Water weight is so variable, and at 1800 calories a day, you won't be losing much more than a pound a week unless you're really big. Not that losing one pound a week is bad--it can be really good to go that slow, but remember that your scale will not be recording much movement at first.
