Hi 4chan. Lately I've been having a problem with boils. You know, large subcutaneous zits. I used to get about 1 per year on my inner thigh, but I've suddenly gotten 2 recently. One was dealt with, but another appeared shortly after. It's right in the crease of my leg and ass, but with some manuvering, I can see it.Two nights ago, I taped a piece of lemon to the area, to try and bring it to a head, but it didn't work all that well. I poked it, and just a little bit of pus drained out. So I thought I'd try something else.I've always wanted to do this. Science and everything. I boiled some water and grabbed a wine bottle. I poured the boiling water in the bottle, then poured it out, cooled off the neck, and stuck it over the boil. It hurt at first, but I'd felt the bottle opening was cool enough and figured the skin was just sensitive. So I held it on there for about 30 minutes. Then I pulled it off. It had worked, but not in the right way. Instead of a boil, all that got sucked out was blood. Not to mention a few water blisters where I had held the bottle. Annoyed that my plan had failed, I covered it up with gauze and tape. That was yesterday morning. So, I took the bandage off today. It looks pretty nasty, but not infected. It's only a little bit tender. But I still don't know if the boil is gone or if it's just now covered up by other messed up skin. I don't know what my next course of action should be. Try another home remedy or just get the fucker lanced by a doctor like I should've done in the beginning?
BOILING WATER!?
Jeebus... a guy at the gym had the same problem and used a cigarette butt. And I thought that was hardcore...

Wait, he was only using the suction on the boil. Not the boiling water.Guess Mr Cigarette Butt was more hardcore after all.
MRSA might be the cause. It's a staph infection that causes large painful boils. Go see a doctor.
