ok /fit/, i'm currently in need of fat burning education, for the longest time i've tried to bulk up and now it seems to have caught up with me. i've been so concerned with gaining weight that i never bothered to understand the way the body burns it off. so i have some questions; i'd still like to put on lean mass, is it possible to still gain muscle mass while burning fat? if i maintain a high protein intake will running for 30 minutes 3 to 4 times a week cause me to lose muscle mass? can someone give me the lowdown on how someone can still make gains and lose fat?

You wont gain as much as someone bulking up but your prob still gain some muscle.

Just make sure you don't lose more then 2lb a week and you should be fine.

Oh keep up your weight training dont stop that

Lean mass comes more easily from bodyweight exercises.
