Hey /fit/

I started weightlifting recently.

I increased what I eat to take in more calories, I eat more protein now too. I have a problem though, I'm always hungry now... is this because I'm taking more in and my body was always craving more but I was starving it before (when I just ate healthy and did cardio? I try to eat when i get up and have at least a snack every 2 hours like most bodybuilding sites suggest.... to keep my metabolism going all day and when I go to bed I eat 1 cup of Cottage cheese and a tbsp of natural PB to keep my metabolism going through the night.

What's up with my constant hunger?

You might just be dehydrated, often the brain can confuse the signals for thirst and hunger, I suggest more water and less diuretic substances (like coffee, tea, salt, ect.).

Hey it's OP..

yeah I guess I'll just try to keep hydrated ( have a feeling I'm so busy all day that I forget to keep sipping h2o)

Also I'll prob just cram vegetables in my mouth.. they seem to be the best snack food.. I save my proteins for meals and post-workouts.

I'm training harder lately, so maybe that's why.. and of course it makes sense that if I'm eating more my body feels that the source is available and wants more foodz.
