when you add protein powder to milk does it add the protein of the milk plus the powder, or is it just become the high number on the label on the powder?

How would the powder manufacturer know the protein level of your specific brand or type of milk? Or if you're even drinking it with milk? There may be a generic thing on the nutritional label that says "1oz serving with 8oz. skim milk", but just read what the powder itself contains, should be about 25g of protein per oz of powder.

It usually says with an asterisk next to the nutrition facts:
"*Amount in Dry Mix."
