Lack of sleep Anonymous
sup /fit/

I'm averaging less than five hours of sleep per day. I would say is near to four. I think is starting to fuck my metabolism, daylight micro-sleep, losing weight, hair is thinner, fuck yeah bipolar symptoms and many more.

I tried to workout, eat moar and sleep moar but failed.

What should i try to sleep more?

I try to go to sleep earlier, and try to relax and go to sleep.
>> Anonymous
yep, squatz.

Squatz is the dumbest fucking meme ever, contribute or GTFO faggots.

I would say just take some damned sleeping pills.
>> Anonymous
Seriously? Masturbate right before.

Natural endorphins.

Shouldn't Squatz be a bannable offense since its an unnecessary catchphrase?

just because it's said for lulz, doesn't mean it's bad advice.

How many people on /fit/ looking to gain muscle, do you think are doing sufficient leg work?
Or sport people on /fit/ trying to improve performance, are doing enough squats?
Or fatties trying to lose fat not doing squats because it will hinder WEIGHT loss, whilst maintaining muscle mass and burning more fat than if they didn't.

smartest meme ever imo

upa.org
click, 'Where to Play' on the left hand side
Click 'Pick-Up'
find whatever one is closest to you, go play for a couple hours, go home, stretch/eat then basically pass out.

OR. get super drunk and pass out

also: sauce on pic?

sorry to say this, but half the people using the meme have contributed more to this board than most of you uptight self-righteous faggots and your bullshit wah wah wah faggotry. i get sick of arguing with head-punchers and mirror-shouters who haven't read a goddamn thing in their life bitching on like they know what the fuck they are talking about. or moralfag homos like you who seem to be under the impression that /fit/ is the new gbs and it's oh so fucking important to give every half-baked motherfucker here a full life-changing life-coaching and largely fucking wrong training regime complete with medical advice garnered directly from the hallowed pages of wikipedia. so go fuck yourselves and get the fuck off 4chan if you can't handle the internet hate machine.

tl;dr, squatz.

Yes, but completely unnecessary in this case.

How about we just wordfilter "bump" to "Squatz" since thats basically what it fucking means on this board.

I wish I could do squats and get rid of my thunder thighs... my body is a good 160 weight at 5' 11" but the problem is I have a torn meniscus in my right knee that refuses to heal and has apparently developed into early arthiritis. So if I bend my knee too far I will collapse when it gives out. Dammit.

Been there. Get that fucking thing trimmed. Removed, if it's bad enough.

squats mightn't be such a bad suggestion, but not squats specifically, just heavy resistance work.

Few ideas:
OP fucking structure. You **WILL** be in bed by a certain time, every night, without fail. If you want to start sleeping, that's the most important step.
Second, if you start doing afternoon workouts consisting of enough whole body exercises (not curls and calf raises, squats, deadlifts etc) you'll tire yourself and be ready for a nap by the evening, combine that with a big hot meal and a glass of warm milk with 2 teaspoons of sugar mixed in, you'll be passed out before you make it to bed.

For workouts, check out any basic "heavy 5x5" generic program.

Augh, what? That doesnt even sound healthy. I went through phys therapy but it didnt do me much good so I stopped going after two months.

OP, people often have trouble falling asleep due to emotional distress. Has shit been bothering you lately? Resolving that kind of stuff can really help you.

I have this problem at times. 3 things work well for me.

One, daily exercise. Two, keeping a journal where I get the bad shit out of my head. Three, using relaxation techniques of some sort or another to help myself fall asleep.

If all else fails, beer.

Try exercising in the morning and not eating 3-4 hours before bed.

Also, drinking less in the evening (not to the point of dehydration, however) typically brings about sleep quicker.

talk to your doctor. get some ambien prescribed.

if that doesnt work then take melatonin 45-60 min prior to bed with valerian root. good luck
>> Anonymous
I got about four a half hours of sleep last night. For some strange reason, I was more pumped, energetic, and hyper at the gym today. Weird.

I know so many patients who complain about Ambien

Trust me, you definitely want to find a natural route to sleep before medicating.

Doesn't Ambien make you sleepwalk?
