Hi /fit/,

I need to lose roughly 30 pounds by Mid-August. I just started a few days ago, and so far I've lost about 3 pounds. My current regimen is 30 minutes of cycling + 20-30 minutes of basic weight lifting a day, eating a roughly 1400-1500 calorie diet.

I just need to get the weight off by Mid-August, and it's okay if I slow way down and/or gain a little back afterwards. So, am I doing it right or is there something I should change?

thats fine, get your protein. the problem with this board is that every asshole has some little thing they want you to change that you forget about actually just manning the fuck up and hitting the gym.

just do it.

Alright, good to hear. Motivation is no issue for me, I'm capable of doing whatever it takes. I just want to make sure I'm actually doing that, and I want to know if it's even possible to truly lose 30 pounds in such a short period of time. Once I lose 30 pounds I will be well within the bounds of a normal weight, so it's not like I'm one of those 300 pound lardos that can lose 5 pounds a day easily if they start trying.
