o wat a great idea to do a fitness board. i happen to have a fitness-related question.

ok so i have this gym program supposed to train 3-4 times per week to get sum muscles.
but im not sure how much time betwen each session i should have. the day after i work out i have muscle soreness and it can go up to two or three days. i don't mind, i think it means i worked good, but if i wait too long for the soreness to go away, i can't complete 3-4 sessions per week?

TLDR; is it ok to workout even if i have muscle soreness from the previous gym session?

soreness isn't an indicator of anything other then you are sore. i've lifted the same lift every day (5 days a week) and gained a lot of strength. you won't even get sore after a few weeks so i'd say just try it but go a little lighter if you're sore.. usually the increased blood flow and stretching from the lifts will make you a lot less sore too

No.
Never workout with sore muscles.

Do isolate areas so that you can do 3 sessions a week like:
Monday: Shoulders/Back/Biceps
Wednesday: Legs
Friday: Chest/Biceps/Abs

Or something.

This way you can have sore legs but still do your friday workout just fine, and you can have a sore upper body before your leg workout so long as you can get the weights around and etc. for squats

Ideally you should only workout when you're no longer sore. Try adjust your workout so that your next workout is right on the day you're no longer sore. You may need to reduce the intensity of some of your exercises, or increase the intensity of others (and spread out your workouts) so that all of your muscles finish recovering at the same time.

If you're doing full body then do it for a couple weeks and see if you still get sore, and if you do I'd reduce intensity by a bit.

Some people get over soreness once they are used to the new excercises and etc.

every day can be overtraining, it depends on how your recovery time is. theres an olympic lifter that does the same routine 3 times A DAY, EVERY DAY.

Being sore generally means you are building muscle. Being extremely sore or having other pain is bad, of course, but if you don't get sore from a workout you probably aren't doing heavy enough weights. Yes, it's fine to work out while you're still sore, although if you're too sore it doesn't really hurt you to miss a day or work on something else.

depends how hard you're working.
