Couch to 5k Anonymous
I've been reading up on the couch to the 5k routines on the internets and have come to the conclusion that they don't apply to me. They are made for people who have no experience running or can't run for 30 minutes straight. I have no problem doing a 5k at 10minute mile pace.

Should I just start upping my pace or does /fit/ have any other kick butt routines to work on?

google HIIT, tabata intervals... then get comfortable with it during a 5k.

5k at a 10min mile pace...

for most people i know, an 8 minute mile pace is comfortable enough for almost any distance. and doesn't strain you enough to be difficult to work up distance on...

Then you're not on the fucking couch, amazing, it doesn't apply to you. Have some internets or something.

If you can find couch to 5k plans you can find all the other plans that are relevant.
