I have my new fav lift. one arm dumbbell snatches. Saw it on youtube and decided to try it out and it's really fun. Not sure if my form is correct though. Got up to 72lb.

I know a lot of fighters who have gotten into the bell routine. Not done it myself much though. (I hate buying new eqip.)
It is suposed to improve the brute streignth of the person considerably over time. However. You need to be carefull with these. It's very easy to hert yourself. Try to due some reaserch on proper teqniqe. Or find someone who knows their stuff.
Somehow I dont think the guy in the pic. is you. It's hard to see the face but it reminds me of...a certain brazilian fighter.
If that is you, and are who I think. Would love to be able to discuss mutual mma experiances.
Good luck bratha, keep on keepin' on.

Well the lower back and shoulder would be a big concern. Not to mention the neck. Definatly make sure you stretch out anything around your spine really well.
I really cant give you proper advice on how to properly proform these, becouse like i said they are not really something ive done a whole lot.
I will tell you though that snatches and other power routines are becoming a lot more popular state side.
I would recomend you hit hte big search engines and look up mma routines and snatches. A lot of sites offer advice to questions.
In the mean time i will call some freinds tomight and see if they cant recomend something solid, or at least a good info source. I'll post tomorow to let you know.
