Home Workout Suggestions? Anonymous
Dear /fit/,

Because of my work routine (work late every day) and monetary situation (poor as shit) I am unable to join a gym for such as workouts and can't really even go jogging (live in a real ghetto neighborhood).
I am OK with my current weight (5'10", 150lbs), but according to some online calculators I have a body fat level of about 22% and I would like to lower that.

Does anyone have suggestions as to things I could do at home to get more in shape? I have enough money to buy dumbells or whatever, just not enough for a monthly gym membership...

Running requires no cash investment, and neither do push-ups or crunches.

Install a pull-up bar, and get a used barbell with weights for about $50.

A pull-up bar is a great idea, thanks.
Are there any kinds that I wouldn't have to screw into the door frame? I live in an apartment and I'd probably lose my deposit if I had screw holes in the door frames...

the safe ones that can hold a person's weight really do need to be secured in. nearby playground apparatus can be substituted.
