http://fitnessblackbook.com/dieting_for_fat_loss/lose-body-fat-by-eating-just-one-meal-per-day/What about this philosophy for losing fat?I know it flies in the face of what's preached here, but it makes sense. You guys say that cardio on an empty stomach is best. Well, why not do all your days activities on an empty stomach, and then nourish/replenish at night?
>>91865b/c your metabolism would slow the fuck down
>>91866Read the fucking article then post faggot.
you would lose weight doing that, but not healthily. metabolism can only go so far, but it's really not a good idea to do something as extreme as this.. and it would be very hard to stick to, so you'd probably end up yo-yo dieting
>>91873here.I just realized the site is an advertisement.
hey, that's actually a good idea. it's like you have nothing else left to do but digest. and if you're not constantly getting food all the time you'll be burning more calories, right?i say give it a try.
>>91865cardio on an empty stomach is NOT best. your body starts catabolizing muscle as well as a little fat, after starving all night during sleep. best to take in some complex carbs/protein asap in the morning to stop the catabolic process happens at sleep.
>>91887plus you'll get hypoglaecimia and get really nauseous, or even dizzy + blackout. not fun.
www.cavemanpower.com - do it.

This is a terrible, terrible solution.the less meals eaten, the slower your metabolism goes. The more meals in a day you eat, the faster your metabolism works.IS IT THAT HARD TO FIGURE OUT?
you know, this seems like it would seriously work. My brother is 6 feet 160 and has been that way for the past 10 years, he gets drunk every night at like 9 PM and eats the most unhealthy food ever until he passes out at 3 am and never gains a pound. He also never exercises.
>>92133OP here. But does that matter? If you haven't eaten all day, then the energy for your activites have to come from somewhere, and surely it would be from your fat?
>>92162fat and muscles.
>>92133http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9155494"More importantly, studies using whole-body calorimetry and doubly-labelled water to assess total 24 h energy expenditure find no difference between nibbling and gorging."6 meals a day is useful for bodybuilding because it's hard to absorb sufficient protein otherwise, but it's useless for dieting.
