Don't drink either, or sodas for that matter. Drink water.
There was a study that just came out that found that rats given foods with artifical sweetners actually ate more and more often and gained weight, than those that were given food sweetened with pure sugar. Aparently when your body registers sweetness, it thinks its going to get calories. If it doesn't receive the calories, it tries to get them elsewhere, usually by eating more.
Of course the artifical sweetner companies say that is complete bunk, and are sticking to the calories in - calories out stance.
