If you muscles are still sore after a day of rest can you work them again or should you wait till they are not sore?

i used to take it easy, but Rippetoe said you can go ahead and work. but if you feel it's too much, don't kill yourself.

I just work around it. Work what isn't sore and throw in some other exercises to keep myself busy. If you don't normally work your abs or legs much, hit those up.

I still workout if they are still a bit sore, or not feeeling absolutley normal, I just ifnd that I can only go to about 75% of total exertion when compared to when Im completely healed, the time waiting is not worth it, it means you will loose many potential days of workouts a month
