Dear /fit/,

I've been training a lot lately (to compensate for my ugly mug, lol), but somehow i feel im doing it wrong...

I know exactly what you mean, OP.

I train hard, constantly thinking about form, reps, weight, diet, everything /fit/ related. So, how should a truly fit person feel? If you've been working out consistently for years, do you still get pretty sore?

I remember when I started working out, I was unBEARably sore. Now I workout longer, push harder, more weight and reps, more gains, but I don't really get sore anymore (but I can always feel it a little bit.)

So, /fit/ how should you feel to know you're exercising the right amount/intensity?

Soreness shouldn't last more than a few weeks

Don't your trousers chafe like hell?

Quick question guys.. Should you keep training that area if it's still feeling sore? I could easily ignore the soreness and work through it, but should I wait for that muscle to heal and toughen up first?

a few weeks?? unless your training till the brink of death you should only be sore 2-4 days when starting a new program and once your body adapts, its just 1 day or so.

Switch up your training and do exercises your body isnt used to, then youll get the soreness back and get results faster
