/fit/!!! I feel accomplished today!
After 4 months of 5x5 stronglifts
I finally squatted(read SQUATZ) 1.5XBW
I have a question for you squatters...
Have your arms ever felt numb from doing squats?This is the first time for me. My right arm was slightly numb. From this, I completely fucked up on my benching >_<

If your squatting heavy enough it will effect your whole body pretty much, you should feel completely wiped afterwards. What sort of grip are you using though? I find that close 'hands near to shoulders' grip does that to my arms as well, cos its an unatural position, which is why i go much wider with my grip. Im not sure it matters at all but the close grip does make squatting a little safer, but if yourve been doing it for 4 months you should be fine going to a wider grip.

Are you doing high bar position(bar on traps) or low bar(bar close to shoulder blades)?
I'm getting neck pains and might consider going to low bar :\

How big are you? After 6 months, I finally broke 2xBW SQUATZ, WOOT! I cut from 190 to 165, and my highest (recent) 1RM is 345.
