hey /fit/. I did abs for a few months but stopped, so recently I gave it another go... I find it difficult to target the lower abs... so, any tips or help? so many different routines out there I'm not sure what to try.

The pec is one muscle but you can still target higher and lower, dumbass.

OP, butterfly and swiss ball crunches usually hit them well enough for me.

thanks, I just looked it up. seems pretty interesting... I suppose I'll try it, considering it'll help on the damn lower abs. my upper ones are in pain right now...but the lower ones...not so much.

try hanging leg lifts? I bet if you dropped a few % they would come in better. also, don't neglect good old fashioned sit ups, as that hits your hip flexors, bring it all in together.

i've been doing 100 situps a day for the past couple of months and i just now starting putting my hands flat on the back of my head, i notice more burning on the lower abs so try that

Or you could just... oh, i dunno, lower your body fat so that you can see your abs?

If you want your abs to HYPERTROPHY, do weighted exercises. Just like any other muscle.
