When calculating how many calories I need on average per day in order to figure out how much to eat for fat loss, I'm finding the activity factor troublesome.1.2 Sedentary: Little or no exercise and desk job1.375 Lightly Active: Light exercise or sports 1-3 days a week1.55 Moderately Active: Moderate exercise or sports 3-5 days a week1.725 Very Active: Hard exercise or sports 6-7 days a week1.9 Extremely Active: Hard daily exercise or sportsI alternate between medium cardio (7.5 mph, 3 miles) and HIIT every day of the week, but I don't think that qualifies as "hard exercise or sports". I do a martial art twice a week, two hours each session. I also do the stronglifts 5x5 beginner's strength training every-other day. Out of all this, I'm kind of thinking I might be classified as "very active" or "moderately active", but I'm really just maxing out my body every day that I exercise, so I'm not really sure. Where do you think I fall, /fit/? So far I've been using an average between those two types and eating 800 under where it puts me, but at 2200 calories a day, I worry it isn't enough calories still. 5'10", 165 lb, 15% bf. Been pushing 2200 cal on myself for 2 weeks so far, with very very slight progress as expected, but I hope to optimize it further.OR would it just be better to take my base RMR and then add on the theoretical burning effects of each individual activity I do? Or are there some other factors at play I don't know about that will push my daily caloric needs slightly higher than that?Pic related, me.
