Solution: eat better, eat more. I was skinnyfat throughout my running days. Trained for a marathon in a couple weeks--probably could have done some real bomb fatloss had I actually eaten properly during then, because anorexic-style eating during that period just made me a smaller fat version of myself.
Point in case: eat very slightly less than you burn with as much running as you do combined with maintenance, continue doing what you're doing running-wise, and your body composition should shape up over a few months.
Pic related: me, 2 months on a 2000-cal protein-rich diet as opposed to < 1000 cal of randomass foods. Running daily, lifting every now and then for the additional fatburn lulz.
