/fit/For those who consume their protein shake at the gym:What type of container do you use to mix/consume your whey? How do you get rid of that horrible smell that accumulates after a couple of weeks.pic not related?
just a regular plastic drink bottle. the smell wont stay if you wash it when you go home.
The smell won't stay if you throw the bottle every other week or so.Personally I use a Jolt bottle
Order a portable mixer if you hate the clumping as much as I do.
>>53324Replace the plastic drinks bottle often, or enjoy your cancer.
-Get a normal wide top plastic flask-Add 1 or 2 scoop of whey in the flask and close it-Pack one normal 500ml bottled waterWhen youre done working out pour less than half of water in the flask and close it tight then shake. you shouldnt see any clumps after a while. Some times there's high gas pressure build up with all the shaking, open the flask to let it escape.Pour the whole thing in the flask and drink up.
>>53308What smell? I clean if after every use and I use one of them shakers.
WASH THE FUCKING BOTTLE!
mason jars
I use a wide-mouth push-top plastic drinking bottle my college gave out. Add milk, add shake, close, shake vigorously, open, drink, rinse it out in my dorm building's kitchen.
I usually take the whey in a small plastic bag and a plastic bottle of water and when I'm done with training I wrap the bag around the bottle (after drinking about half of the bottle's content) pour the thing inside and then shake it until it dissolves.
