ok i'm going to give blood at my school drive later in the month, and a have a question. Will giving blood effect my workout and how i build muscle because of this loss of blood? i know i can't work out for the day i give and probably won't even the next day, i'm cool with that, i mean like in the weeks after will that loss of blood have any kind of effect?

pic unrelated

you'll feel kinda weak afterwards but after a few good meals and a solid night's sleep you will be the same

The fluid you lose will be replaced within the day, but the red blood cells will take a few weeks to get back to their normal level. Chances are you won't even notice, especially with weightlifting. If you were a hardcore cardio man, then you probably would have a lot more adverse effects.

don't worry bro, giving blood is actually good for you. from what i understand many athletes give blood to help them with what ever they're doing.

yah bro, get your body used to giving blood, so its always making like tons of RBCs bro, then STOP giving the blood bro, and your body will still be thinking like 'hey bros, keep up w/prodn, the big bro make decide to give more blood again soon'

but then you DONT give more blood bro

and then youll have EXTRA RBCs bro, it'll be like your own fucking EPO bro!

screw lance armstrong, you'll have your very own blood doping hookup, bro

giving blood is actualley a very healthy thing to do every 3 months.

When you take blood away in large amounts (in this way, 1L) the body rapidly starts to produce cleaner blood which for up to two weeks is unaffected by cholesterol that it would normally be under you just lost the game.

lol fucking sucker giving away blood, your weightlifting, endurance, strenght they will all suffer becase? THERE ARE LESS RED BLOOD CELLS IN YOUR BODY = LESS OXYGEN TO YOUR MUSCLES = DECREASED PERFORMANCE

fucking sucker, now i'm gonna go to the blood bank and get some of YOUR BLOOD to increase my strength and endurance
