Warts and Verrucas Anonymous
Halp /fit/

My foot is a mess since last week when these suddenly appeared. I've had athletes foot in this area for a few days after a visit to my local pool.

I've got a verruca on my other foot that's been there forever and not painful, but these hurt like shit, look different, and I'm having trouble walking. Went to see a doc today and he told me to just man up until they go of their own accord... but that could be years so fuck that shit.

Anyone have good methods of getting rid of these? Anything I can do to prevent getting them in the future? Any of the treatments I should avoid?

You're doctor's an idiot. Go find another one that will do his job and take care of it with some cryotherapy.

It's a callus with a blister behind it if im not mistaken. On the side of your big toe is a callus, is it painful? My guess is no. The problem is a callus has developed over a blister putting increasing pressure on the blister. You need to grind the callus down with a pumice stone or some of the products you see in medical stores, then heal the blister. Theres nothing wrong with a callus, sometimes they are a benefit to toughen your feet up.

Also, stop going to the pool, i dont go there at all now because its full of skanky little shits who go to the pool whenever they get foot problems.

I was assuming that this was planar warts/verrucas.

Could it just be a blister under a callous?

I hope it is... much simpler to treat...
