Anyway... I don't know, but it sounds like a good idea to me, since being broken up and mixed in might increase the chances of the vitamins being absorbed (many pseudo healthy foods do something similar by adding various vitamin mixes to their product).

Or maybe you actually absorb more if they are release over a longer period, which may be the case when taking the pill whole.

It doesnt really matter... multivitamins are harmless, and you dont really need 100% of everything if you eat a balanced diet anyway

well a note on that: multivitamins are carefully balanced. a micronutrient imbalance pushes out the ones you have too little of it and then you get nothing from those.
