I have decided to start working out /fit/! I am pretty skinny so I want to bulk up. I am pretty clueless when it comes to lifting weights and protein etc.. I belong to a club but I don't really know what to do in terms of resting days and how much to lift. Halp!

Start off with finding your maxes.

Bench max
Curl max
Pushup max
Pullup max
Chinup max
Deadlift max
Squat max

Max out till failure for 2sets and wait a few days till you're not sore anymore.

Ask a fitness counselor for help on creating a schedule. In all honesty you're probably not going to bulk up, but you can very easily tone your body out and make yourself much stronger than you currently are.

Gaining a lot of weight for a skinny guy requires a very strict regimen of constant eating, rigorous heavy lifting, and sleep. If you step off the routine for a month, you'll start losing weight again.
