Hi /fit/

I wonder if more people are like me, totally indifferent about what food tastes. To me, oatmeal mixed with water is the same as chips and coke. This is great while dieting, but it sucks when I'm trying to enjoy a "good" meal like i used to do.

oatmeal mixed with water is not the same as chips and coke.
it's a gourmet meal, dammit.

You have no tastebuds?

Do you smoke/do drugs?

If so, you've probably 'busted' your tastebuds.

I posted this in a previous supplement thread, but it actually seems more relevant here.

Mix 1 scoop 100% whey protein powder (vanilla) /w 8oz of warm apple juice. If you can drink that crap and honestly say you enjoy it, then you truly do have taste buds of steel.

Delicious.

Have you tried warm prune juice mixed with applesauce and bran cereal? Now that is delectable.
It tastes even better on sprouted grain bread.

Would you feel the same about some butter?

Oatmeal with water is gross.

Oatmeal with milk is win.

OP here. I don't smoke or do drugs. Actually, I can still sense the flavors, but I just don't think anything tastes better/worse anymore. Coke is coke and water is water, but I have no desire for any of the tastes.

I will try it out. I don't have whey with vanilla taste though.

Is there any other foods with a very bad (or good) taste anon would recommend to me?

While the actual taste of the food doesn't matter to me I can still tell a difference. Its a nice treat every once and a while. I love the fact that I can totally shut out kfc and taco bell and all that shit really easily.

Try celery. Sage because no post with 'celery' should be legal

chips and coke is horrible, i'd rather be eating dry oatmeal
