avoid these: high glycemic carbs (sugar, white bread, fruit juice) saturated fat trans fatty acids
eat these: protein unsaturated fats low-glycemic carbs (whole wheat, starch) leafy green veggies all kinds of fruit fiber
and remember: balance is everything! each meal you should have low glycemic carbs, fruit/vegetables, protein, good fats, and a big motherfucking glass of water. also, eating a lot of small meals rather than 3 big ones keeps your metabolism up.
