Hi /fit/

I've probably left it a bit late..
What exactly is possible fitness wise in a Month?

I need to lose a small amount of weight, maybe 10-20 kg.

I've got about a Month and a Half.

So I dont get any unrealistic Goals what exactly can be done in a month?

Also is it better to jog or walk? I keep reading different articles, some saying you can get fit walking at a fast pace everyday ( When I do that I dont sweat ), but if I jog I tire out in 30 seconds.

Thanks.

10-20 kg. is no small amount of weight. Enjoy your failure of a Month.

Pro-fighters, lifters and bodybuilders can lose something like 10-15kg in 2 months. PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES.

Alright, so perhaps 5 kg?
On the Biggest Loser these guys lost up to 20 kg in the first month, sometimes more.

1-2 pounds of fat a week is normal and healthy.

So fucking relevant to me, I'm wondering if you're doing it for that exact same reasons as I am.

Except instead of wanting to lose 10-20kg I want to lose more like 5-7kg.

You're are probably American and mixing pounds and kilos. 10 pounds is certainly doable with some significant work. Do jog not walk and try to last longer and longer till you reach 45 minutes straight. Times spent jogging above that will deplete your fat.

(Not OP)

Christ! About 45 minutes of jogging and I feel spent.

Is there any more higher-intensity but shorter duration routines that will give me the same result?

I have a skipping rope if that counts for anything.

That's mostly right but those examples are bad. Fighters, etc are not overweight. They force themselves below their natural weight to compete under their normal category. For fatties it's easier to lose weight since it mean going to a more natural weight. But yes 20 kg in a month is way off if you don't want to fuck your body up.

HIIT works but to do it you have to already be well trained or you won't be able to do the actual intensity. Jogging is just better to start. Also HIIT is way more tiring than jogging.

Also all the exercise in the world won't replace a healthy diet.
