How is it possible to do bench presses and SQUATZ without a spotter? I am doing 1 legged squats and leg raised pushups and pullups, but looking into heavy weights.I don't have a gym membership and would be doing it at home. How do I prevent injury?
Sweet igloo.
>>289546I can't even really tell what that is from the pic, looks like a power rack with random levers
>>289560yes a power rack. It'll save your ass if you drop the weights.
Bench using dumbells and squat in a power rack
The cheap solution.
i've never thought of using a spot with a power rackjust know your limit and you will be fine
>>289569no way those could support proper weight for SQUATZ
>>289574They can take 100kg/220lbs+ each, so that should be fine for a newbie.
>>289569Interesting.. judging by their height, I would be front squatting? Or could I get underneath them first?
>>289613These would be used in addition to a normal rack, just to provide a failsafe similar to that of a full cage.
>>289569If you're going for thrift, just get some 1" metal plumbing pipes & joints and throw them together into a couple of saw horses. It MIGHT cost 40 bucks and it'll support a buttload of weight.
you dont need a spotter or a rack for squats..build yourself some squat stands, and if the weight is 2 heavy, just drop that shit of your back. For bench, you either need to know your limits, or do floorpresses.
>>289684>floorpressesClever girl.
>>289673Confused what you meant here.. anyways what about benching? I use the bench as an additional something for squats? That doesn't make any sense at all.
