/fit/ I need your help.

My free training session got fucked, and I don't want to pay a bajillion dollars to get a real one so I want to know:

I have semi-large arms. They used to be moderately muscular, but now there is a considerable amount of fat. I was working them out, but they were just getting bigger. Not to make an unnecessary point to my sex, but I am a woman and would much rather have slim arms.

So how do I do this? I have gym access, but would prefer to do it at home.

Pic related, but not to that extent.

tl;dr: Woman needs help toning/slimming arms.

Cardio.

Run jog etc.
Get a treadmill at home and start off. Or a cycle if you are afraid of hurting your joints... due to the weight. >_>

Lose weight. You can't spot reduce.

I do cardio constantly - doesn't work. I'm not fat, it's just my problem area.

I have been losing weight. Again, doesn't work. The rest of me looks perfectly fine. And by largish, I definitely mean nothing NEAR that picture. Just related.

Probably genetic. Only way to slim em down would be to lose weight.

no arms = no arm fat

Being fit isn't about trying to tweak body parts for the sake of aesthetics. Stop being so shallow.

i'm sure you are one of the twelve thousand on /fit/ that work out your arms for the sake of taking photos. or your abs, legs, what have you.

There's no way to spot train your arms. The only thing to do is lose weight (which you said you've been doing) and try doing some strength training. There's really nothing else to tell you.

While looking better is a nice side effect, no I am not vain enough to dedicate a huge portion of my life to working out to look good. I train for my sport and for my health.
