What can I do to git rid of my huge thighs /fit/?

Back in highschool my gym teacher made us do squats,running in place,and leg lifts for an hour mins everyday.Now after I graduated, my thighs are fat but have like huge muscles sticking out,looks fucking nasty to me.

How is running gonna help dumbass when it just builds more muscles in the legs.I dont want them to be lean I just want them to be smaller but it's like their stuck at a certain size now forever.

Don't use your legs for anything more except to move.

Your body will realize that the muscles are not being used and break them down into something more useful.
