Well, /fit/, I have a mucocele. Should I pay to get it surgically removed or see if it goes away? Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.

For those who don't know, a mucocele happens when a salivary duct ruptures. It causes a big blister in your lower lip of fluid trapped behind connective tissue. I could pay to have a doctor cut it out and remove that salivary duct, or I can wait and see what happens.

What would /fit/ do? For reference, mine is just a bit bigger than in that picture.

That can't be comfortable. If you can tolerate it, though, leave it be and see what happens.

If it's bigger than that, get it removed. I had a two in the past that never went away (had both surgically removed) and both weren't even as big as the one in the picture.

I've had them go away by themselves before. I suggest you keep a supply of Cepacol handy and chew on it, but I'm a masochist and obsessive compulsive, so that's just me.

I had something similar to that on my gums a few years ago.
I don't know about where you are, but here in Britfag-land there's a mouthwash called Corsodyl that is really good at getting rid of ulcers, those, and the like...
