I want some adderall, so I'm considering going to my doctor and telling him I'm having problems with paying attention while studying, in class, and in general. How do I approach this, and what should I say and not say? What should I do and not do?

Alternatively, how do I buy it from a pharmacy without a prescription?

I am curious as well.

ANY of the ADD drugs, where can they be purchased?

2 are interested, I'm sure there's more

adderall is made of ground apricot seeds and sugar.
just get some apricots, they're over the counter

Go to Mexico, they have prescription drugs that require no prescription.
They even have signs on the outside of some pharmacies "No Prescriptions Required"
It's ridiculous.

Jesus christ. If it isn't over the counter, you need a fucking prescription to buy it legally. Your only alternative is to buy it from a drug dealer.

Go to the library and read the DSM-IV. Research ADHD extensively so you know how real people talk about their symptoms. Expect to be put on several other drugs before Adderal.

If at all possible ask for Dexedrine or Dextrostat, it's the same shit as Adderall but about 14 times cheaper because there's only pure dextroamphetamine in it, whereas Adderall uses 4 or 5 different amphetamine salts in it. It's the exact same effect, they just use so many analogues to justify jacking up the price.

when you go to the doctor and they start asking you questions. its pretty fucking obvious what to say. trust me

A strong Conium (aka Hemlock) tea is very similar to adderall.

Sooo... what about sites like

Is it illegal to order this stuff?

It's easy as fuck to get a prescription. Tell them you can't concentrate in classes, you can't read because you space out and have to backtrack because you spaced out while reading, you can't carry on a conversation without going off on some ridiculous tangent because some seemingly irrelevant idea pops into your head, you jump from task to task and never really end up finishing anything because you can't commit yourself to one goddamn task at a time, you space out while driving and will probably end up rear-ending random cars. Fuck, I hate my life.

Hilarious ending.

But the sad thing is that is how I REALLY am.

What should I do, go see a general practitioner, or is this something only a specialist prescribes?

I'm the exact same way, hence the self-loathing. I'd recommend a specialist, they're pretty prescription-happy when it comes to ADD kids. We're what puts dinner on the table, after all.

wow reading this makes me feel like i need some.

like sometimes i see a ton of threads i wanna read so i open them all in new tabs and only look at the pictures because text takes too long to read. it's not that i'm a slow reader its just like "tl;dr"ON FUCKING EVERYTHING. I took the goddamn ACT and all I could think was "tl...dr..." and I guessed on all the reading comprehension.

oh yeah, half the time I dont care about the tabs I opened when I come back to them.

I don't even have a doctor, but I read that Omega-3 and vitamin B12 help and I've been downing those. I don't know if it's placebo or what, but I do concentrate a little better. I still brain tangent like fuck, though. I wish I could afford a perscription.

My friend was on ADD med's and he was about ~145-150 pounds.. Probably because of insurance issues, he doenst take it anymore; and boy, he's easily 210 now. It's amazing what those things do. But I don't know if the post pill metabolism was his normal metabolism or if quitting the pills slowed it way down. so i'd be careful

I'm sure that if millions of American parents can convince qualified physicians to supply them with the means to drug their innocent children into obediently submitting to their elementary school teachers, then you should have no problem with conning your own doctor into giving you pills for a mental conditions that you and 90% of the other "attention-deficit" people don't have.

It's pretty likely that your friend started eating more after he stopped the medication. Adderall does wonders at killing your appetite, but modifying metabolic rate that drastically doesn't seem like something that it does.
