There is a concept called a superset. It involve doing multiple lifts in sequence. For example, 1 set of curls, then within a minute, 1 set of tricep extensions, then within a minute, 1 set of shrugs, then rest. Repeat until you have completed 3 or 4 or however many sets of each lift you are working for. Look it up. I really like it, it keeps the heart rate up and you can get more lifts in.
also, you meant 'a lot' not 'alot.'
