Use a food calculator when you're putting together your snacks though. Because this diet can go either way. You can bulk up on it, or lose weight on it. But either way you'll feel more energetic all day, and have the energy you need for your work out routine.
I forget his name, but a decathlon runner uses this diet and he stands behind it 100%. Not because you necessarily lose weight with it, but you have the energy you need to run decathlons.
He also ran like across the Sahara or some shit like that.
