hey /fit/ what happens if I'm doing medium lifting and I'm not eating enough or at the proper times to build muscle mass?

Will I
a) just not build muscle mass
b) hurt myself in some way?
c) something else??

enlighten me

OP here. Lifting is the wrong word. Just some weight training with freeweights.

you're going to have longer recovery times and will likely start losing weight

a. yes
b. you'll be sore all the time
c. you'll feel tired all the time
