what an awesome coinidence that i have a thread to post in BOTH of my favorite boards.. /fit/ and /fa/

i recently fucked up my big toe/toenail cause i was playing basketball in apparently ill-fitting running shoes. i want a new pair of sneakers that are good for weight-lifting (nothing too serious) and running and basketball. good for outdoor basketball too would make them THE BEST etc

anything out there that you suggest for overall quality with some style?

pic OH DEAR GOD DONT LET IT BE RELATED

I'm pretty sure it was said on 5x5 (fuck im drunk cant even remember the name) that you should wear flat shoes like converse or barefoot. Running obviously these wont work, theres a few makes out there that are designed for runners rather than fashion, think i'll order New Balance shoes since im wide feeted.

These are tennis shoes, good grip, and flat soled. I would also reccoment k-swiss.

If you are doing more than 15 miles a week running, go get fitted for a running specific shoe. Medial stability or motion control if you are a moderate or overpronater. Also toe room.

srsly horrendous. i will look into more flat-soled shoes though.

i dont run seriously like that. most of my running is for warm-ups and some frisbee.
