with crunches, try to go for speed as that helps more, do as many as possible then rest, then try again then rest, then repeat one last time. im not too good with my food either but have a 6pack :-) also lying on your back with legs 6inches of the floor and holdin works well, try raisin ur legs as far up as possible in that position then lower them back to 6" position and repeat. also try very slow puchups, like takin 5secs to go down n another 5 to go up, works well 4 me. neway gd luck
