slimming down Anonymous
sup guys. ive never been on /fit/ but since ive started working out i think ill see what kind of advice i can get :). well to start off i am about 200 lbs and 6'0". i dont look particularly overweight but i think its time to slim down. I've been riding a bike for about an hour a day, jogging for a while, and going to the gym for an hour as well. i also do about 60 sit ups a night before i go to bed. I've been eating fairly healthy. I keep active every day whether its playing lacrosse, tennis, swimming. i just started working out about a week ago. i know that is not long but you gotta start somewhere. what should i focus on when working out? i am particularly looking to work on my abs because thats my weakest attribute. lets see what kinda replies i get... Sounds like a good workout plan. If I can give you any advice, its that you should watch what you eat (so no foods high in fat) and that you should keep yourself motivated. Set goals for yourself, and don't shoot for the moon at the first go. It takes time, and if you're expecting to look like Brad Pitt in a month, just forget about it.

TL;DR: Eat right, keep motivated.

Not strictly by salads and chicken. Try to stay away from fast food and fizzy drinks.
