It's amazing.
Running down hill, I feel like a gazelle....going soo fast, taking like 12ft strides, the wind rushing by my ears, the pounding of my heart in my chest...it really does feel like flying sometimes.
Pumping out a hundred pushups...when you've done so many before, it feels so natural that it's almost like your a machine. It makes it feel like a piston in an engine pumping, especially with that sharp blow of air through the nose with each one.
Diving...when you get the rhythm of the board so perfect that the synergy lets you rocket up so insane heights. Normally, you don't really realize just how high you go, because you're busy flipping and stuff....that's why it's so great to every now and then just go up and splash down, without doing anything fancy. With that much airtime, you actually have time to look out around you and take in the view while thinking about how free it feels. Then, of course, you come down (from what feels like out of orbit) and get to hear a splash as your feet hit, and see the white water start to jet around in a cone- but then, it's cut short by a deep blue rush of silence, and a cold blanket. Your feet touch down lightly on the bottom, and you linger there a second, just enjoying the total silence and coolness.
TL;DR: It's like sex, god, and freshly fallen snow.
