ok so i got a wisdom tooth pulled a few hours ago
was given a few gauzes to apparently 'stop the bleeding'
the gauzes, now all gone, did nothing other than add to the pain. tried the moist teabag thing but again its only causing pain
dentist didnt say anything about painkillers or anything so i might get a packet later on
websites about dealing with afterpain seem to contradict themselves; they say not to rinse your mouth yet they also tell you to rinse it regularily in saltwater, the same advice pages are often poorly written and make no sense, for instance they dont tell you when and when not to do certain things...
grrr
thisll probly go on for the next few days and i dont really know what to do about it...

any tips that make sense??

DONT rinse on the first day. Take some T3's and suck it up pussy, you're not dying

i just got mine pulled. didn't the dentist give you an instruction sheet with post-procedure after care?

you're not supposed to suck through a straw or rinse your mouth the first 24 hours because you might dislodge the clot your body is trying to form.

after that you can rinse with saltwater or antiseptic oral rinse if they prescribed you one.
