What does /fit/ use for salad dressing?

Prior to cleaning up my diet I always used ranch. It made me fucking love salad. I tried using balsamic vinaigrette and different oils as well as light ranch. Problem is, rather than "meh, this tastes ok," it was "holy fuck this tastes like pure shit." So, now I eat salad maybe once a month. I really want to change this because I'd like to add salad back into my diet but I don't know what else to try.

Just make an avocado salad or add some hard boiled eggs

Eat it with as much ranch as you need, they're important. Just compensate for it in other areas of your diet somehow. Do the math, it'll work out.

Or just liquidise and drink the bastards.

I don't know whats so wrong about some salad dressing, unless you're trying to cut out every possible calorie by not using dressing. For example creamy french dressing only has 2 grams of saturated for per 1 oz serving, the other 10 grams of fat are mono or poly unsaturated fats, and those really aren't that bad for you. The salad dressing wont kill you, it's the saturated animal fats that you should stay away from.
And really, this is one reason why America got so fat. We see fats as a bad thing so we take fat out of delicious things like salad dressing, ice cream, and yogurt. And we replace those fats with CARBOHYDRATES. Next time you look at low fat yogurt, and reduced fat ice cream you will notice that alot of time they have more calories than their regular counterparts. Because to make it reduced fat with the same texture, consistency and similar flavor something has to be added. The something is sugar, and simple carbs.
So go ahead and have your salad dressing. Just keep in mind "modesty" when pouring out your favorite dressing.

Wrong. It's not 'carbohydrates'. It's MSG and ASPARTAME that is making Americans so goddamn fat. No one ever bothers reading what's contained in the food they eat,(Ingredients) But I'm not complaining. I'm not the one eating the shit.

Also, burn in a lake of fire tripfag

you have probs if vegetables dont taste good to you. you'll learn to love the taste and hate shit like ranch.

that being said, i have a glass bottle and make my own dressing like so:
some type of vinegar
olive oil
seasoning blends (any of the many blends you find at the grocery store)

ftw

They know what they're talkin about

Screw that, I seriously use water in my salads, just so it's not so dry. Dressing makes it taste odd. I'd prefer to taste the fresh vegetable material in my mouth.

Hit the nail on the head. Fat is just like protein and carbs: there are good sources, there are bad sources, too much is bad for you, and too little is bad for you.

Not all carbohydrates are equal in providing needed nutrients. Consider yourself fucked if they're from processed food.

I personally like Italian dressing. Not drenched like the fucking Olive Garden does it, but just a squirt, mixed around equally. Adds some zip to it without the vomit value of Ranch.
