That isn't that hard depending on how restrictive your budget really is.
You get a good 5lb jug of protein which should be 60$, maybe more, maybe less, each serving is about 40grams of protein, take that post workout and maybe even in the mornings following an intense workout.
Eat meat in all your meals, or eggs, shit won't be that expensive if you know how to shop.

You don't need a gram per pound, just try and get about 140-150g.

It's easy anyway I suggest eat lots of eggs, drink lots of milk, eat things like tuna, buy some protein powder (it's not cheap but lasts a while).

It doesn't seem like it is cheap when you first get it, but when you divide the cost by how many shakes you get out of it then it is pretty damn good.

If you buy your protein shakes at the gym it might be 5 bucks or more, if you go to one of those smoothie bars it is anywhere from 6-8 bucks for a protein smoothie.

If you by a reasonable priced whey, or even whey isolate it ends up being like 2 bucks or less a serving.

figure out your body fat % then multiply that by your weight, and then subtract that number from your weight to get the g of protein you need.

So for me: 165# @ 8% Body fat
165x.08 = 13.2
165-13.2 = 151.8 or 152g

You can always take less if it's too expensive for you. The 1g/lb is for people who work out like a nigger steals TVs. Remember, there's protein in your normal food as well.
