Why would you be sore before a workout?

I am not sore in the areas I am targeting in my work out, but other areas (my core, and lower body), and today I am working on my upper body.

But, as I am sure you all know, when working your upper body, you cannot escape working your core in the process -thus, I am taking Advil so I can work my upper body to avoid pain when my core is worked indirectly through cross-over training.

Its ok but you shouldnt really need it. Once your body warms up and the blood starts pumping through the sore areas you really wont feel the soreness.

it thins your blood, so if you already have problems relating to that, it's a bad idea. i've heard it can stunt muscle growth, but not to a degree where it even makes a difference. other than that, just don't take over 800 - 1000 mg or so and you should be fine.
