A quick question for /fit/

So yesterday I did my leg routine, squats, calf raises, extensions, leg curls, etc. leaving me just a little sore today (mostly in the calves and hamstrings).

What I want to know is, will doing a few miles of cardio jogging hurt my legs? Should I not do my cardio today to let my legs rebuild or will it not affect my recovery?

You're asking whether exerting muscles that are already sore will affect recovery? I think you already know this.

Give it a miss, or better yet, rearrange your routine so that cardio does not conflict with your leg day. Do something else now.

I wouldn't do it. But I'm a wimp.

You're not doing them right.

I'd give it at least 48 hours.

I would probably do it anyways, unless your trying to get huge. the guy in your pic doesn't run after his leg workouts... he probably doesn't even move unless it's to the fridge.

you do any work on your hamstrings as hip extensors? because doing lots of leg curls and then going for a run is a great way to get injured.

Running after a leg day will annihilate your legs. Enjoy 2 days of not being able to use stairs.
