If everything they ate was fairly healthy and stored as body fat there would not be such a high correlation between obesity and high blood pressure, diabetes, heart attack, and whatever problems it supposedly causes.
Not the weighing 300 pounds with an extremely high body fat is healthy, but what we consider overweight is not unhealthy, the food people eat is.
Most of the problem with certificate wavers is they don't know how to do or teach exercises like squats, deadlifts, proper benching, presses, and others and they don't know how to train someone in the beginner phase for strength. They just give you a shitty bodypart each day split as if you're a bodybuilder.
