Okay /fit/. Another weight loss thread, but with a twist.

I have come to the realisation that it's the "ceremony" behind eating which is holding me back. Evey time I try to lose weight, I try to come up with enjoyable "diet" meals that'll still let me savour my food. I hate salads and all that shit, so this doesn't seem to work too well, as I keep gradually slipping back into eating lavish, fattening meals.

Therefore, I wish to make eating a functional, succinct experience for the duration of my weight loss attempt. If there was a magical pill which would give me all the right sustenance and make me 'feel' full instead of eating meals, I'd gladly take it.

I basically want something like that. I need quick and easy food to ingest quickly and then get on with my day. I don't mind if it gets samey - if it's fast and easy to eat then I don't have to dwell on it for long enough to care. I just want to make sure I have the proper nutrients, and none of the hungry pains in my stomach.

For the records, I'm morbidly obese - 6'3" tall and 310lbs, which even with my apparently quite heavy bone density is still fat as fuck. If that means I need to factor in a kind of gradual loss so that I don't get the horrible "loose skin hanging off your body" thing, then so be it, but I don't really understand that stuff.

I'd be grateful for any advice you guys could give me on this. Oh, one more thing, I'm not a cute girl like the pic. Sorry.

TL;DR, I want all the benefits of a healthy meal except I still want to eat steak for BF Lu and Dinner.

Eat some salads you asshole. If you don't actually have a revulsion to them do it faggot.. Otherwise, your best case scenario is to lose all your weight and gain it back again. Before you storm the fuck back onto 4chan and break the floor, try to think if my points are valid at all.

Mantras! Mine is "eat to live; don't live to eat." Just repeat that every time you start to crave something naughty. Looking at yourself in the mirror also helps.

To get to the meat of the matter, keep things simple; eat 6 small meals a day. Shredded wheat (1 cup) and a few eggs for meal 1, a serving or two of oatmeal for meal 2, and a 4oz portion of boneless, skinless chicken breast with a cup of a greenery of your choosing for the last 3 meals. Space meals 3 hours apart. Precook the chicken and veggies for "speed factor." Finally, lots of water. Just force down about 60oz of it per day. It'll get easier to do so pretty quick.

You'll also want to work out and do cardio, but this goes beyond the scope of your question so I'll leave it out.

They're not. Because:

>TL;DR, I want all the benefits of a healthy meal except I still want to eat steak for BF Lu and Dinner.
>If there was a magical pill which would give me all the right sustenance and make me 'feel' full instead of eating meals, I'd gladly take it.

I don't really think I need to say any more. The last sentence made it a decent troll post, good amount of potential rage inducing, but it was too obvious overall. Next time, sport.

I think you've got a good grasp of what I'm saying, but that's the approach that's been kind of failing for me so far. Perhaps I should have given more examples.

I had a friend in the army who regularly are and drank weird shit in cans and packets that supposedly gave him 100% of his nutrients. The thing is, he did that ON TOP OF eating full meals a day. He got away with this because he was the most active person in the fucking world, getting up at 5am to climb mountains with sackfulls of rocks on his back and shit.

Obviously, the way he did things doesn't apply to me - he was a very physically fit person trying to keep his energy up during grueling exercises, I'm a very physically UNfit person trying to get everything my body needs in as short a time as possible. But thinking back to how he did things, I thought maybe I could adapt it in order to essentially ingest my 3 meals a day in about 5 minutes each, or some crap.

I appreciate your good intentions, but when you start talking about cooking things, that's exactly where I've fallen down before. It gives me room to think and experiment over my food, and that's what makes me slip, and also makes me think about food entirely too much even when I'm not eating.

I want to reduce the practice of eating to something that only takes a few minutes out of my day, so that I don't have to think about food at any other time, ever. That's essentially it. I don't care if it's non-sustainable in the long run, providing it can carry me through significant short-term weight loss.

Understood. Well, you can go for various health food and protein bars, slim fast meal replacements, and other stuff like that, but I can't say for sure which ones will give you exactly what you need.

Eat raw fruits and vegetables. You don't have to cook them, just grab a piece and bite.

You can lose weight by eating less of what you currently eat, you dont really need to change your diet, just eat smaller portions.

Just get some more fiber in the morning.

I find that it really helps curb my appetite, so I really only get hungry when I'm supposed to (ie lunch, dinner).

But really eating isn't the only solution, you need to actually get off your ass and work out to help create a calorie deficit, or else you're stuck slowly losing weight eating less and less, therefore getting bored in the process.

tl;dr, eat fiber and get your fat ass up.
