I looked at this image called "The Parrot". Apparently it's supposed to provoke certain thoughts that the brain can't handle, effectively "crashing" the brain. Not always immediately, though. What's the story behind it? Does a site like Wikipedia have a page on it?

Pic unrelated.

I saw it on /b/ a while ago.
It was just some research by some fags, didn't end up anywhere.
There is a wikipedia article on it (those hypothetical images that can kill you have a techincal term),can't find it now.

Don't worry. It would be pretty impossible for it to spread around.

I'm trying to find the wikipedia page on it now. Does anyone remember other details about the image?

There's plenty of images the brain can't handle. I see them on 4chan all the time, and am thoroughly convinced they are slowly killing me.

DEAR FUCKING CHRIST SHITTING CUNT INFECTIONS

A SCIENCE FICTION WRITER NAMED DAVID LANGFORD WROTE A BUNCH OF STORIES WHERE THERE WERE THESE IMAGES CALLED 'BASILISKS' THAT CRASHED THE HUMAN BRAIN. THE FIRST ONE WAS "BLIT", I DON'T REMEMBER THE REST BECAUSE THEY SUCKED.

THE KEY HERE IS THAT IT'S SCIENCE FUCKING FICTION, AND I HAVE OFFICIALLY LOST ANY REMAINING PARTICULATE OF RESPECT I MIGHT HAVE OTHERWISE HAD FOR /fit/
