Start eating lots and lots of food, very often (the whole 5-6 small meals per day thing).
But here's the thing: make all of it healthy, low-calorie, nutrition-filled food. An example would be something like honeydew melon, oats, or cottage cheese. These are all things that are packed with nutrition but are not all that dense as far as calories go.
Also, start drinking lots and lots of water (if you aren't doing that already). Drink it throughout the day.
Also, do cardio, but instead of doing it on long sessions once-per-day, do it in short, intense bursts, perhaps in the morning and in the evening. Over time, long, regular sessions of cardio will put your body into fat-storing mode, because it will think there are hardships in store. But short intense bursts will not do this, and they will still raise your metabolism. For example, you could do 15-20 minutes of really hard cardio in the morning and the evening.
Strength training also. Even if you don't have access to a gym, there are still ways you can build muscle using your own body as resistance. I don't have any suggestions as far as this goes, because I have never done this because I have a gym membership. But, you could probably look some of these up online. Build up your muscles = build up your metabolism.
To be honest, going into starvation mode in the first place was a shitty idea. NEVER DO THAT AGAIN. That is not a good way to lose weight. The suggestions that I have provided above are all ways that you *might* be able to get out of starvation mode without gaining weight. But to be honest, even if you're extremely careful, you may still gain a few pounds because that's just how the body is when it comes out of starvation mode.
