There's a lot of questions about weight loss, muscle building and nutrition, i'll try to answer these at once here.
This applies to most people posting there. You are not unique. What works here works for mostly everybody, they're tried and trusted.

If you want to loose fat, you must have a caloric defeicit. You get this by burning more calories than you are consuming. (While maintening a healthy calorie level so your organs can function proprely.)
You don't have the choice, the best options are;
-HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and nothing else. It is the best cardio available, there is no spot-reducing techniques.
-Tapeworms (If you want to loose much weight quickly)
-Weightlifting (Muscles burns calories just by being there)

If you want muscles, you have to train correctly. For that, you should read Rippetoe's Starting Strenght or Stronglift's 5x5. It provides a good program for overall increase in strenght and mass.
But most importantly, you must squat.
Have good nights of sleeps, and eat 1g of protein per lean bodyweight kg.

you don't need to already be fit to do HIIT, start it now and do it as much as you possibly can.
