Need help /fit/. I am currently 190, 6'0--not obese, but flabby as hell. A few questions--first, if i walk for at least 45 minutes a day and only eat around 1200 calories, will i still be burning weight while avoiding 'starvation' mode? Second, I am completely poor right now, so I can't afford a gym; I don't even want to bodybuild or 'get big' i more just want to tone up while im losing weight so i get rid of the flab. Can anybody recommend some references for exercise I can do that doesnt require any equipment but will still tone me?

You might want to try a sport from time to time if you can find people also willing to play--basketball is a good one to get other people for, and the cardio and jumping will help

Also, 1200 calories is probably way too few. I'm 6'0 and 172, and I eat around 2300 calories to lose weight.

Also, pushups, situps, bodyweight squats, etc... You can also use innovation around the home. Fill a bookbag with sand and do curls/squats with it. Do dips between two counters, etc...
