Can you offer some advice to a skinny piece of shit?

I'm 6'2, 160lbs. I have been working out for a month now and have gained about 7lbs. I'm noticing some small gains in muscle but obviously its early days. I've basically been eating everything in sight and not 'clean'. Just making sure I get my protein each day. Thing is, I'm starting to get a bit of a belly coming on and was thinking of starting some cardio. My question is, should I wait until I've bulked up more before starting cardio work as I don't want to hamper my gains too much? Would only do a couple of running sessions a week at most.

I'm not looking to get huge but to gain a couple of stone would be nice as I am currently skinny as fuck and don't like it one bit.

And yes, I squat

Do a minimum of 30mins of cardio daily, always, it doesn't matter if your on a bulking tour or not.

Watch what you eat. Calculate your calories, not just your protein, you're not going to get 7lbs of muscle a month, if you get that, its probably around 1-3 lbs muscle and 5 lbs of fat.

Only get ~300-500 more calories a day then what you need, that way you will minimize your fat gains.

What is the ideal amount of cardio? I'm not OP by the way.

OP here

What if I continued with my current eating habits and did cardio every day? With my high metabolism, could I get away with this?

This is just wrong.

depends, everything i do is practically cardio

when i lift I try not to rest between sets too much, and most of the stuff I do is interval/crossfit anyways. so it would be pretty redundant to do running/rowing/bicycling other than to cool down which would be 10-15 minutes slow 50-70% MHR.
