Is it better for losing fat to run like 1.5 miles a day 3x a week or like 1 mile a day 6-7x a week? Wouldn't doing it every day help you to burn more calories throughout the day by boosting your metabolism? Or would you be burning less total that you would 3x a week at longers distances? Help please.

Depends on how hard you run. The harder you run, the better the workout, regardless of how long you run.

Do an HIIT every day. Try to go for 10 minutes total. You'll loose weight or shit your pants trying.

I'm running on an eliptical trainer on the "Intervals" setting. It's essentially HIIT, doing 1-2 minutes of low resistance, then like 1-2 minutes of high, then like 2-3 of low, 2-3 of high etc.

I'll be going just as hard for the shorter one as the longer one so which is better? Shorter more often or longer less often?

well if you notice the long distance runners have a much more leaner figure while people who specialize in sprinting dashs have more of fuller build in there body. me, well i go to the gym about 3 times a week(trying to go more,5 is my goal) and i start off my workout with running for 30 minutes with a incline of 3 and the speed setting at 6.5 if that means anything to you. anyway i get a little over 3 miles in that run and i am spent, i then rest for 5-10 minutes and do the rest of my work out.
