You're informing yourself with useless information. Seriously, are you taking aikido or ninjutsu or some shit like that? News flash - PRESSURE POINTS AREN'T EFFECTIVE IN A REAL FIGHT. I've rolled with ninjers and the like before; they tried their pressure points and their pinches and whatnot, and yeah it hurt a bit, but not enough to make me want to give up my dominant position and certainly not enough to make me submit.
And are you really implying that whatever pressure-point shit you're interested in is better than Judo? Or, for that matter, that Judo consists mainly of 'shoving people around'? Ok, go get on top of something that's around 4 feet off of the ground. Now jump backwards off of it and land flat on your back without catching yourself. That's what a Judo throw feels like, except that you've usually got the additional pressure of the guy pushing you down and the fact that as soon as you've landed he's going to start trying to break your limbs and/or choke you unconscious to worry about. You want practical self-defence, take a fucking Judo class.
