how much can you lateral raise?

i can do about 7.5kg each arm for about 5 reps, but i'm just starting out

what are other good exercises for this muscle reigon?

It's all about big compound lifts and eating right. You'll gain pretty quickly in some areas. Then you'll plateau.

Man the fuck up. Proper squats put very little pressure on your knee. That shit you see people doing in the shirley machine, and those swinging bicep curlz in the squat rack are more likely to hurt your knee.

Squating lifts are the one of the best weight training exercises in the world, or the best. It engages the entire body. You should do everything in your power to get that knee better. And any other limiting points. Seriously. Train especially to recover that knee, get advice exactly how to recover it. Nothing in the world can you as a good a workout as squats.
