Most people only hear whats good about soy products, so here's the other side of the story. Take it as you will, I'm not going to tell you to use soy or not. Also as far as protein goes. 12% of soy is protein, but only 2% us usable/digestible by humans. 6% or so of eggs are protein and 100% of that protein is digestible, and usable by humans.
