Should you be sore after cardio? like if you walk 7 miles at a good pace but dont feel much, if any, pain in your legs. Are you will losing weight?
>> Anonymous
Yes you should feel at least a little sore. If you don't feel sore, you're not pushing yourself hard enough.

thanks, also whats a good distance and speed for walking. jogging for long distances is out of the question as i have very bad asthma and am unfit.

walking will use up calories, regardless of whether you're sore afterward. whether you will lose weight depends on how much you ate.

if you don't go through the pain of properly running, those will never change

Not OP but whats the diffrence between running and "properly running"
>> Anonymous
Properly running involves keeping your ankles and feet straight and not bending. Keeping a straight spine. Generally just keeping good form. Improper running is a lot sloppier looking, and does about as much good to your body as lifting too fast and burns you out without much benefit.

OP here.
Thanks, how long should i run for if i am just starting?
>> Anonymous
Start with what feels comfortable. Try to start with a slow jog, maybe for like 10 minutes per day, but keep increasing. You should be breathing very heavily, or even panting, by the end. But remember to maintain form. If you feel that you can't keep a straight spine and ankles, walk for a minute or two to relax, then keep going.
Good luck.

Fuck all the magic tricks. Just keep your kcal income smaller than what you use every day. And if you want, you can also do some walking / running w/e, it will help, a little.
