Do you have any strangely muscle-y parts of your body? I've never exercised my calves on purpose, and supposedly they are the hardest muscle to build, but mine are very toned and large compared to the rest of my body. How does this happen?

Pic not me, but similar

Do you ride? Every one of my cyclist friends has crazy calves. You can spot non-riders in the group at glance by their skinny-ass calves.

My other freakish muscle group are my lats. Way stronger than they should be given my size.

I have the same, but I just put that down to the fact that I used to walk miles every day to get to school and back. The bus pissed me off, and it was nice to walk through a major park everyday.

Apart from that, I was naturally skinny except my shoulders seemed pretty far apart to most people who saw me topless.

not been the gym in about 6months now, though when i started going properly last year i would work my calves so had i would limp for about 2 days after, but they grew huge in about four months

I used to cycle a bit, but only when I was really young. It's probably just walking! :)

calves are mostly genetic
basically
niggers - skinny high calves
asians - massive diamond calves
whites - in between

For me, my traps are abnormally large. I would say that it has a large part to do with genetics, because I rarely ever work them out. The good thing is, you can spend less energy and time on your strengths, and put fourth more effort towards your weaknesses.

both my forearms are always really tone, and my abs always have definition without hardly doing anything. My pecs, however, have NEVER been easy to work.

i am asian and my calve sucks. my outer calf is nicely developed. inner calf nothing there. so my legs look a bit wonky.

Me too, mostly because I walk too much, which supposedly makes your calves larger than with running.

Speaking of which, is there any way to make my calves smaller? I'm a female and having these xbox hueg calves just looks weird.

walking doesn't make calves big. because we walk so much, the calves get muscle memory or something, so we have to load it with huge weights just to make them grow any bigger. that's why they are one of the hardest groups to build.

fuck yeah K-Swiss.

I don't exercise my calves much now, or ever really, but they're pretty big and toned without effort. Probably a by product of sports over the years and high protein diet.

you're pretty lucky OP.

calves are some of the most problem areas for even body builders.

Huge generalization and pretty much off the mark.

But yeah, calves are probably more genetics based than anything. OP is lucky as hell, he's a lot like my grandfather was (although my grandfather was just a big, muscular guy all around without trying...huge calves, 17 inch arms, probably an 18+ inch neck without lifting a fucking weight in his entire life.)

Anyhow, I'd kill to have your genetics in terms of calves. Seriously.

nice OP but mine seems to be larger and more toned.

too much fucking ddr as a fatty.
