I'm off to do my HIIT.

I have a problem, my friends and i've seen on /fit/ people say:
"run 200 meters then jog 200 repeat"

When i describe i say i run for 30 seconds and then jog for 30. Is this a problem because i was thinking that one day i might run slower than another so 30 seconds isnt as hard. Should i change it to meters?

It's hard to explain but i hope atleast one person understands me lol.

I think the point is trying as hard as you can in the 30 second intervals, it probably doesnt matter how far you get as long as you're pushing youreself.

If you're on a 400m track, doing 200on 200off would be the easiest way to keep track.

Usually when I do on/off (HIIT), I jog half the track and run half the track and repeat until I die, then do one sprint lap.
