This isn't an opinion, it's pure scientific fact. Soy products contain plant hormones called isoflavones. Isoflavones, when ingested by humans, become phytoestrogens - essentially, female sex hormones sourced from outside of the body. The research community is not entirely settled yet as to the actual effect of soy isoflavones on humans who eat them, but the studies to date have not shown significant linkages between soy consumption, or phytoestrogen levels, and the development of sexual characteristics.
