its gonna take a combination of things to feel the lower abs. what i would tell you however is to mix in fat burning, either do cardio for 40 minutes or do hiit... whatever you like best. squatz are highly underemphasized and can help you gain muscle almost everywhere in your body when done right so i would look into doing them if you are not... as for the pouch that you wanna feel being worked out, the trick is in the breathing. what you need to know is that in a standard crunch/ sit-up or whatever abdominal exercise that you're doing you need to breath in as you do the motion required and then at the top of the motion you need to tighten the ab muscles and then breath out as you go back to the starting position, try this out and see if you feel it working cause i bet my left nut you will.
