Sup /fit/. What's a good way to whiten your teeth? Do those Crest strips or whatever work? Normal brushing doesn't do the trick, as my teeth are very stained and I'm fed up with not being able to smile due to my yellow teeth.

you probably have a cavity. go to the dentist so they can drill off the yellow shit always works

...
So all the teeth are yellow because of one cavity?

Apparently, Crest White Strips DO work, but they don't sell them in NZ where I live so there isn't really an alternative that doesn't cost more than $50.

Look it up on YouTube, there are videos of before/afters.

I've used strips and gels

They both make your teeth sensitive, though I've never noticed a difference, they're supposed to weaken the enamel somehow...

Anyway, the gel was kinda meh, the strips work great, but you can't eat shit for a good while afterwards to ensure they stay white through the process

i just got back from a party and was talking to this chick with super white teeth. I commented on them how nice they looked, and she said she had been using the strips.

Im thinking about picking some up myself...they looked pearl white

I have the same problem, I brush everyday, twice durr, I don't smoke or do any shit like that, yet I have something between white-yellow teeth with some yucky ass shit sometimes sticking on it, makes me feel shit. It sometimes even hardens like it's some food that got stuck on it, as if I had braces, four or five years ago damnit.

I guess a certain alternative would be first polishing then whitening them at the dentist. Might cost more but has to work, I'll sign up for it myself after I'm through with this dental tissue surgery I have pending.

My sister is a dental hygenist, and she recommended that I dip my toothbrush in 3% hydrogen peroxide solution (the stuff you get in the brown bottle at the drugstore for 99 cents), then put the toothpase on and brush as usual. Crazy, right? But I tried it and within a few days it whitened my teeth to the level that it takes the strips a couple of weeks to achieve.

I did find that my teeth had a limit on how white they could get with that method; any further and I guess I have to see a pro. For mild whitening & touch-ups it's worth it though.

I used the rapid dissolving Listering Whitening strips and they didn't work at all. I actually sent in my receipt and the UPC for a refund. Don't get the listerine strips.
