k /fit/ here's the deal...

i could stand to lose some weight, and i have done some random stuff in the past, but never really stuck with it.

at the beginning of the summer, i started running about 2 miles a day, about 5 days a week doing crunches, and push ups every night.

i weighed myself for the first time yesterday and i gained 6 pounds.

i guess it's possible that it is muscle, but i don't look any thinner or muscular.

what's going on?

That, and eat healthier. How over weight are you? Running two miles a day is great, but if you eat a big mac for every meal you'll get nowhere fast.
