i'm 20 years old, 242 lb and 5'10.

what's the best exercise or exercise program i can do to lose a lot of weight in a healthy way over a 6 month period? how many days a week for how long? that sort of thing.

i'm clearly a complete noob to exercise.

walk every day, then jogging, then running, then HIIT.
lift weights once a week. as a newb, it will take a week for your muscles to heal and the soreness to fade.
but walk everyday 30 minutes.
