Bitch, don't hate on my Cover Girl ;; It's priced right, they just don't make a foundation that's right for me. I'm almost considering trying that Bare Minerals stuff I see advertised on infomercials, though. As of now, I don't bother with anything more than eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss.

I live in Pennsylvania...it's similar up here. It's cold and snowy like 6 or 7 months out of the year, but most people walk around with beach tans in the dead of winter. I, for one, have very Nordic type genes (fair hair, fair skin, tall...I mean I'm freaking 5'10" and was taller than my last three boyfriends), so the sun hates me.

Yeah, I've read about the genetics behind each gender. Female skin is generally softer, more thin and has less melanin. The problem with very pale skin is that redness shows up so easily, like if I'm sitting down for more than an hour, I get that nasty red streak going across the area right under my boobs and where my ribs end and it's extremely visible on my skin tone. My cheeks will always be constantly red if I don't moisturize like five times a day.
