Having sex with a woman is the closest I've ever been to being in a fight. What's the best fighting technique to learn for practical situations rather than just being a sport style?

Kick to the crotch, headbutt, elbow blow after a straight punch, kick to the kneecap etc etc

why does this seem so familiar?

He beats women.

I believe taekwon do (ITF) is the best you could do to train yourself for combat.

If you had seen the woman you'd know what I'm talking about

I support this suggestion. Everything in ITF taekwon-do has a practical application

Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu are relatively practical. That and maybe just good old fashioned boxing.

Krav Maga was developed as a means of practical self defense on the streets in Israel. So, it's incredibly practical and is used by police forces and the military in the USA and elsewhere in the world.

Muay Thai will kick your ass so you can kick everyone else's asses.
I also highly recommend Jeet Kune Do, which in itself is a mixed martial art and designed to be the most efficient, no-frills method of combat possible. It's not as physically demanding as Muay Thai however.
It depends a lot on your build and what you're looking for. Muay Thai is definitely a hard style, i.e. it involves breaking bones and beating the shit out of people. Aikido on the other hand is an example of a very soft style that, if you get really good at it, allows you to disarm and incapacitate your opponent without striking them. Judo and Tai Chi Quan are also soft style examples.
For weaker guys, soft styles work well because they take advantage of the opponent's force and momentum in order to take them down. This way the opponent's strength is used against them.
Also, inb4 massive flame war.

Every time I hear about krav maga I hear a different story about how it was developed

Krav Maga is a conglomeration of martial arts developed by the Israeli military for practical self defense in life threatening situations.

There is no other story.

I don't like anything that comes from israel. So I suggest boxing

no. BJJ is shit for real combat. damn good for a closed one on one fight or competitions, but as soon as you get to the floor, you'll get fucking stabbed by a friend or you'll get your head kicked in.

Krav Maga, boxing, Muay Thai or Jeet Kune Do, however, works great.

I would go all the way for Jeet kun do.
It's very practical and it doesn't really have bullshit stances.
If you can't find a Jeet kun do then go for muay thai. but never Take TKD lessons.. waste of money

http://www.tonyblauer.com/

Tony Blauer knows all. I trained with him a few weeks ago. He trains police men and women and special operational forces in highly functional practical tactical self defense.

He uses a conglomeration of different fighting techniques and puts them together in a way that works efficiently.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, following the curriculum laid out by Helio Gracie. Basically, make sure that wherever you want to train focuses on the actual self-defense aspect of BJJ and not the competition aspect of it.

The best strategy is lifting weights and getting hueg. Strength > technique.

Strength is important, but it won't help you if someone pulls a gun or a knife on you. Or if you find yourself in a choke.
>> Anonymous
>>337224
Well there you have it. Best fighting style is to buy a fucking gun. How did I know that was going to happen.

Martial arts won't help either. Sorry to ruin your fantasy.

Bodslam/bodyweight > choke.

I had some 110lb fucker jump on my back and try to choke me once. He was TKD "blackbelt" and watched too many movies. I picked my fat 260lb ass up and jumped in the air, landed on my back, and left the little fucker gasping for air while I went to go cook some scrambled eggs on the campfire.

any martial art will do as long as you're not a dumb ass.

100% dead seriousness, shit you already know but have obviously forgotten, its a 2 step fight ender, remember there are no fair fights in the real world, only in the ring:

Step 1: Kick in the balls or crotch if girl.
Step 2: punch with full weight the person in the face.

When the person doubles over, they are fully exposed and definitely not thinking about whats happening next, they are thinking about wtf just happened.

sure they may come back and say sucker punch, but this is something you do when you dont want to fight and have to neutralize the person.

He didnt do it right. Hand over mouth/nose, other hand gripped around windpipe like it was your cock.

and if some guy is leaning back and is too heavy...just let go and kick him in the kidney.s
