hey /fit I've got a question. So this week I'm home from school for break and have been working out in my basement instead of my local gym. I have everything to do my usual routine except for one thing. The problem is the ceiling is really low (~7 ft) and I'm a little over 6 ft, so I can't do my overhead press. Is there any other workout that can stimulate most of the same muscles as the overhead press.tl; dr are there any other workouts that use the same muscle groups as the overhead press?
Have you heard of a stool?
sit on the floor, sit on a bench, sit on a chair, sit on a stool, kneel on your..knees..are you fucking retarded?
>>467425I guess it was a stupid question. I was thinking maybe i'd do them wrong... idk /thread
>>467430just do what you always do, kneeling will allow you to engage glutes more and avoid putting too much stress on your back, much as standing does. But do whatever is most comfortable.
go outside, standing overhead press is a lot different than sitting overhead press. a lot more muscles are involved in putting something over your body standing rather than sitting
