Hello /fit/

I was just wondering about a few things. First off I don't have any fat to work through.

If I do these 8 minutes a day everyday how long do you think it will take to see some results? I've been doing it for 5 days now. Maybe in a month or so?

Will the workouts always be this tough or will it get easy over time? How long on average do you think?

I do the crunches like they said but my neck hurts doing it. The first day it was sore all day but now my neck only hurts during the exercises. Is this normal?

stop being lazy.

Relax your neck while you're doing your crunches.

I try to relax but even if I just squeeze my abs to pull up my neck still can feel something.

Do you have your head cradled in your arms while you're doing the crunches? If so, make sure that your abs are doing the work when you go through the motion, rather than pulling on your head and neck with your arms. I have the same problem sometimes; I find when my neck starts getting tired, I just put my hands behind my head to let it rest there, making sure I'm not pulling forward with my arms, of course.

I put my hands right behind my ears and let them rest there. Then I squeeze my abs to pull me up. I love up to the ceiling like they say. It doesn't move. Maybe I just have a really weak neck?

I've done this 8 min abs thing and in time, your abs will get stronger and you won't have to pull on your neck as much.
I know; it feels like you're not but you really are pulling on that neck of yours.
when the instructor says "concentrate, you can really feel these.", you should actually concentrate.

How close is your chin to your chest while you're doing them? Keeping a few inches of distance might help.

Oh I'm just starting so my chin and chest are very far apart. I only go up about maybe 4 inches from the mat. Pathetic I'm sure.
