/fit/, need opinions on my situation nowi think I have some form of carpal tunnel, or a repetitive stress injury related to either 1) too much typing/clicking on the comp 2) liftingthe pain in its most bothersome form is around my bicep, shit sux, and it stopped me from doing bench a few days ago, and also while I was swimming, shit hurt like fuck. now it's hurting almost constantly even to move my arm up, so through some trial and error I stopped using the comp for a few days and it all but went away, with some occasional pain here and therehow long should I take off lifting? i know something like this takes along time to develop and even longer to recover, I can deal with no comp or games for a loong time, but i HAVE TO LIFT HEAVY ASS WEIGHTSno sauce on pic btw(ever)
Look into foam rolling and self-myofascial release, there's a pdf floating around by Mike Robertson that is about this stuff, it should help your arm
