Hey /fit/,

I'm just a hair under 6'0", and I'm about 165 lbs, and pretty out of shape. I've got a tiny bit of a belly (enough for me to feel self conscious), but there's some pretty hard muscle under it all from the fact that I used to do like 100 situps every night like 2 years ago.

so, I'm wondering:

1) What should I do, and how long will it take, to get a six-pack (not very defined), or at least trim my stomach to flatness?
2) I've got man-boobs! How the hell do I get rid of them, and how long will it take?

Pic unrelated.

Aren't squats for the legs?

You think sit ups 2 years ago=abs now?

When I flex, it feels pretty hard. People have felt my stomach over a shirt while I was flexing and they thought I was pretty trim, despite my slight gut.

1) lurk
2) lurk moar

holy shit you need to lurk.

seriously. if i was to write the prototypical bad post in /fit/, it would read exactly like this. congratulations, you've taken the most frequently asked bad questions and shitty fitness myths and condensed them into a single post. i mean if a shit post took a big steaming shit, and then that shit had really bad constipation, what was finally shit out 3 days later would be this post. a little turd bejewelled with awfulness.

Christ in a bag, I'm not allowed to want to make myself a bit more physically attractive? Fuck, man, squats work out the quadriceps and glutes, not the abs, so I got confused. I udnderstand why someone would have to lurk a bit sometimes, but I felt like getting an answer right away.

...I'm already realizing how flimsy my argument is sounding, but eh, who the fuck gives. I just wanted to see if anybody had some tips on either of my concerns, sorry if they were bad questions.

woo, great answer, though I must say I'm confused as to what the squats will do, but I'll take your guys' word for it.

What the hell do you think everyone else's questions are going to be about? GETTING MORE HEALTHY AND FIT.

100 situps a night isn't ever going to do shit. 100 situps a night 2 years ago is meaningless.

Lurk.

Any tips on that one? I was thinking slow and painful - I could slowly chop off every piece of my body fat until I was as fit as I'd ideally like to be, and then maybe slicing off my toes, then my fott, and then maybe hacking away at my knee, and then my whole thigh could just be done away with, yeah? After that I'd prolly just shoot myself. Sound good to you, fellur?

What's wrong with 100 situps a night?

What? No, that's an incredible waste of time. Just jump into a kiddiepool of glass shards and squirm around until you pass out.

ok. mr.i'm-in-a-hurry-and-gotta-know-NAO. quit now. don't even bother with a fitness plan. you won't succeed.

i'll tell you right now, i randomly clicked on 4 of the 10 pages in /fit/ and parts of your exact questions were asked/answered on every single page.

so spare me your "i'm just confused" bullshit. you're fucking lazy. you're lazy and looking for an easy way to what you think is self-improvement. it doesn't work that way. you need to want it and be willing to do research on your own. you're too lazy to click on other links in this forum, so you'll just shit it up by bringing up the same goddamn questions every other lazy 4channer asks.

how can you expect to succeed in any kind of fitness plan if you can't a) lurk, or b) check other pages here to see if these questions might have been asked already.

or are you delusional also and think your questions were unique merited /fit/ to get on it and answer you right away?

sit ups 2 years ago... shit man, you gotta be trolling me with that one. fuckin horrible.

just lmao

>People have felt my stomach over a shirt while I was flexing and they thought I was pretty trim, despite my slight gut.

Protip: outside of 4chan, people will generally be nice to you, so take what they say as a compliment but not the truth.
