just some questions flashfire !Z.u76FTVEM
hey everyone. I'm just looking for ways to put myself and discipline myself to be on a good schedule. I'm 19, 6'4" and weigh between 235 and 240 lbs. I'm not worried about how much i weigh because i heard somewhere too many things go into core weights and ideal weights.

I just want to know how to drop fat. around my middle area, mostly.

-I eat out maybe 2 to 3 times a week because I work, am in a band and am a university student, so there's a bit of stress around there.
-My BMR is about 2500 calories, give or take some.
-i tend to not eat very often, and i drink alot of everything, though i abstain from sodas whenever possible.
-i try to just do cardio ( walking/running, DDR, doing hip hop dancing for my church -- yeah yeah, i know. ) but the thing of it is, it's all just so TEDIOUS.

so i guess I'm asking this: what ways can i disipline myself to eat correcctly and excercise and not make it seem boring as fuck and not worth my damn near nonexistaant time?

sorry for the pic, i just got a laptop and it's brand spanking new.

Do bodyweight exercises to get started. Invest in some dumbbells or use your university gym. It's not really rocket science. "Just cardio" will make you lose weight, but adding some weight training or bodyweight training to your routine will help reshape your body quicker.

Don't sweat the eating out part too much. It's shit, but everyone is going to make mistakes. I drink too much and end up eating out whilst really drunk, but as long as I ate healthy the rest of the day/week, it's not too bad of a blow.

Also, try to cut your calorie intake. A good rule of thumb is if you can recall everything you've eaten during the day, you are in good hands.
