Sup /fit/,Is it normal to feel sore 2 days or more after a workout? Should I still work my muscles if it's still feeling sore or should I wait for the soreness to completely go back? Thanks.Lions always related
Wait a day, then work a different muscle group. If you are in too much pain to do that, you may need to wait a week or more. It's generally stupid to push through the pain.
Let the soreness go. The muscles are repairing in this time.
Keep lifting faggot, you'll never get big if you let a little pain dissuade you.
>>168787The pain is actually not bad, I could bear it easily if I wanted. However I'm not quite sure if it would be bad to lift when I'm still sore as I'm afraid it will tear the muscle fibers before they get a chance to rebuild.
I think when I started lifting, it took about two or three days for "most" of the soreness to go away, i fifugred th e muscles were still in "repair" mode, so after that I started lifting some more
>>168730Being sore is actually a good thing. It's a sign that you tore a significant amount of muscle tissue. What you want to do now is buckle down, rest, eat and get lots of protein and DO NOT WORK THAT MUSCLE UNTIL IT'S HEALED. Overtraining can lead to negative gains.
>>168798Muscle isn't made in the gym, it's torn. It's made at home when you recuperate. If you push yourself back to back every day on the same muscle, you will not have time to repair, and you will never grow.
Overtraining can lead to negative gains. There's acutally a very technical word for this, it's called "loss"
Looks like someone didn't STRETCH.
>>168932I'd just lie kot take a moment to point out, while not good for bodybuilding , thats pretty hardcore strain
