Hey guys.
Current shape:
Gender : Male
Age : 21
Weight : 175lbs
Body % : 16-18%
height : 5'11''

I used to be 220lbs during high school and pulled off weight down to 175lbs last summer. I'm trying to get rid of the extra body fat and get into toned shape, perhaps more muscle...idk yet.
anyways.....I noticed I went into stravation mode when I started eating only 700 calories a day.
But, I bumped it back up to 1500 calories and still dont get any results.
My diet is getting better, no junk food, but have no will power againist cookies, muffins, etc. I mean if its there, its gone in seconds. literally.
Also my metabolism is gone as well due to....ahem.....addiction to Monster Lo Carb Energy drinks. 3 of em a day. If i dont have one a day, i go into withdrawals. I'm pleased to say I'm at 2 a day now.
Now, I'm heading to college again, but this time I wont be in dorms, I'll have my own place, by myself.
Now I have a few ideas to help myself to reach my goal, just need ur opinions.

Are you serious?

1. You say no junk food, but you say you're eating cookies and muffins. Unless they are bran muffins and some whole wheat sugarless cookies, I don't know what you think junk food is.

2. Breath through your nose, not your mouth. You're probably hyperventilating while running because you're trying to intake too much air through your mouth too fast.

3. Lay of the monster's. Try some black coffee if that's caffiene is your problem. Or just try to get off them all together.

4. Do other things besides crunches. Lift some weights. Get on a bike. Maybe even some other ab exercises besides crunches.

5. I'm not a trainer and don't claim to know how to lift weights or anything, but I've always heard circuit training is good. Find yourself a program and try to use all of your muscle groups.

I'm good about junk food, but I mother insists baking all the god damn time, I mean I dont go out and get taco bell or mcdonalds, its those baked shit I dont have will power over.

hyperventilating? alright, makes sense.

coffee? how about tea? I can take tea, I dont like coffee.
