hey /fit/. I'm a 28 y/o vegan who exercises regularly, 5 times a week, 45 minutes on average, to be specific, and I have a stubborn 5-7 pounds that just won't come off. My husband says it's just loose skin from losing weight, but I don't buy that.

I lost some 75 pounds 5 years ago, so I know how to control my calorie intake, overeating is not the problem. I am not sure what I need to do to take off the last stubborn couple of pounds, does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm seconding what your husband says. 75 lbs is a lot of weight, and like anything that stretches, skin has its own threshold of when it just won't retract anymore (not tinsel force, but some other fancy physics term).

OP, would it be a safe bet for me to assume that you're petit? If so, your skin had to do all the more stretching to hold that fat you had.

Start eating 5 or 6 times a day, but only until the hunger's gone. The aim is to never be hungry, never be full. That way your body stops storing fat because it always gets food. Cut down on simple carbs and eat more protein. As a vegan, that means lentils, lentils and more lentils.
