I think I over exerted myself this week my shoulders won't let me do a single front raise. Should I do curls and squats till it wears off, or just do nothing at all?

Butt not related.

No; he probably just over did it. OP: take a week off; come back strong next week and get plenty of protien in the mean time. Light cardio is probably fine too.

Damn you! I can't read what you are writing because I'm too distracted from that gorgeous picture.
What I'm trying to imply here is: MOAR!

Beans, fine. White rice, fine (depending on how you prepare it). Macaroni, fine (again, depending on how you prepare it).

But that meatloaf can't be healthy.

If it's 93/7 lean sirloin ground then It probably is good enough. It's the baked goods he mentioned that show the diet isn't adequate.

Yes, it's possible to overdo it even with proper nutrition, but inadequate nutrition must be ruled out first in many cases of repair times. If it can't be ruled out then the problem isn't that the person worked to peak efficiency (I do this all the time but the consumption of protein shakes and thoroughly balanced diet, along with rest, allow me to recover by the next morning.) I'm willing to wager that the OP's diet is to blame and not the actual workout.
