Grab a weight, hold it to your chest. Problem solved.
Medicine ball: hold it into your chest.Plate: hold it in to your chest.Dumbbell: hold it in to your chest/under your chin (if it's low enough weight)
Extend the weight over your head and to the crunches that way. That is how real men do crunches.
Or if you have some extra cash, you can get a weighted vest.
