Just a quick thank you to /fit/ here.

I still have a lot of improvement to achieve but I'm a lot better than before. Things like giving your muscles time to relax to allow them to grow and repair seems obvious but it's one of those things that are vital.

I can now go out and feel a little better about myself.

I do have one question if anyone cares to answer. How do I stop turning to stuff like chocolate for snacks? I only ate a tube of Smarties today but that's still pretty bad.

Fair enough.

Its ok to have cheat days, every once or two weeks. Don't go apeshit and eat a whole buffet table or something, but have a treat, chocolate, etc. If you save one chocolate bar for once a week, its not that bad. Ofcourse don't buy a whole box of it and store it somewhere, if its in your house, its going to get eaten by you. Just buy it on your cheat day.

get really fucking dark chocolate. it tastes better and it's healthy; one of the oldest living women in the world ate like 1/4 a pound of chocolate a day.

The next time you are about to reach for that junk food, just don't take it. It's that simple. Think to your self, I am my own conscious being, I will not take this and eat it.

Yeah, the best way is to not buy that crap in the first place. Leave nothing within easy reach except bite sized fruits and veggies.

And willpower. Lots of it >_<

the worst thing is when you basicaly compete for food with family.

you know they're gonna eat your shit sooner or later, so you eat it before they do.

Eat something healthy as your snack.

Like steaks. A good steak craving is healthy for you.
