I have a question about soups and salads.

What kind of soups are good to eat when dieting and what kind of dressings/toppings are ok for salads? Is it ok to eat canned soup, or do I have to make homemade soup?

dont put toppings on salad. just eat the fucking salad. if you don't want to do that, then remain fat.

Eat soups which arent full of shit (no fat, no carbs if you arent doing any exercise), and eat these soups in small quantities. If you don't want to do that, then remain fat.

Read the nutritional table on the can and make your own choice.

Making your own soup - you should know that by now.

Soup is fine as long as it isn't cream based. It's 75% water, so it's filling and usually low in calories. Canned soup is usually crappy though. Last time I checked, even a can of Progresso Vegetable Soup had about 800 mg of sodium per serving (2 servings in a can).

Same thing with salad dressing. Things like Caesar and Ranch (egg-based) have lots of fat and calories. Other stuff like Italian are fine as long as you don't go overboard. Salad tastes like crap if you overdress it anyways.

You can make your own soup with low sodium beef/chicken/vegetable stock and a large pot. You can also make your own salad dressing very easily if you have a blender, some vinegar, oil, and other things (herbs, etc).
