Sup /fit/?

I need some diet advice. I've been a Vegetarian for the past 3 years and lost 5 stone in weight from diet alone. However, I think I may have fucked up.

I have a number of problems that have been with me for a while. I have hideous dark black circles around my eyes (despite getting 8 hours a night at the very least) and very oily skin and hair and often get tired. Everything I have tried to do to counter the problem has failed and I believe it may be a result of my diet.

I think this may be a result of my diet and am considering seeing a doctor as I believe I could be aneamic (Sp?).

Anyway, is a vegetarian diet dangerous? And could anybody suggest a "healthy" diet?

Thanks.

Eat a balanced diet including meat, like you EVOLVED TO NEED.

I recommend the steak diet.
That means steak, steak and steak.
It'll help you get over your iron deficit too.

You know, now that you mention it, I have a very similar problem. Dark circles under my eyes, tiredness, oily skin and hair, etc. But I eat meat. I don't think a vegetarian diet is the cause of your problems - there are a lot of vegetarians out there who have no ill effects. I would suggest going to a doctor and getting a blood test done.

I'm a vegetarian, and I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with that. You don't need meat, and don't let people pressure you into thinking you need it. It's a really stupid thing for them to worry/get worked up about. It's definitely something else, unless you're substituting the meat in your diet with junk stuff. Being vegetarian means you still have to eat healthy.
