Hi there, I recently joined the gym and the guy there made me program with like 20mins cardio and some random weight work with the machines. My question is he said to just walk fast to burn fat not to run till im puffing or that is to get fitter, so is this true???

False, more intensity will burn more fat. Forget the trainer, start on HIIT

As long as you don't do it for 10 minutes, you should be fine. Start doing short periods of time and work your way up.
