ok, so /fit/.

I probably get 150-200 grams of protein a day. i am taking creatine as well. I do chest on monday's and supplementary chest every day during the week sans weekends. It isn't a super demanding lift schedule but it has shown gains already. So, my current max bench is 225x2. My goal by the end of the year is to bench 300.

is this realistic?

Too many sets for bench.

I do incline, decline, and shoulder press then some flys and call it a day.

Your working your chest too hard, lift hard, then rest, dont lift like a pussy everyday with no rest.

if you want a strong bench you need powerful tris and shoulders/upperback.

+1...give your chest a rest. Working it every day is bad. There's also no point in having a nice looking chest if your other muscle groups and cardio are in poor shape.

That's also way too much protein to be taking. You could easily cut it down by 50g/day and still be consuming more than enough. I'd also suggest dropping the creatine.

That aside though, increasing your bench to 300 by the end of the year is realistic. Diversify your exercises and you'll be much better off for it though.

it can be done, but you gotta change your sched... and creatine is bad!

300 is a good bench to plateau and maintain. It's a nice round number.

why should I drop the creatine? Also, I weigh like 300. yeah, I'm a fatty I know. I thought you should strive for a gram of protein per lb.

If you're 300 pounds, then I'll concede the 200g/protein a day. But if an undue portion of that is fat, stop the strength training. At this point in time, you need cardio.

Unless you have naturally low stores of creatine, it really doesn't do a whole lot for you. Creatine might help you perform high intensity exercise for 10 seconds or less. You might be able to squeeze out an extra one or two reps per set, but it doesn't work for everybody. If you drink any sort of caffeinated beverage, also know that the caffeine will prevent creatine from having any performance enhancing benefit. If you dropped the creatine you'd probably lose a bit of weight from that alone since you're retaining so much water, which I think would do you more good than a max bench would from the info you've provided.

yeah, i got alot undue. but actually, I do cardio to. More muscle means more burned. But, I guess I will just finish this creatine naturally and then not buy it again. Anything that would help me with quicker recovery.

very reasonable bench goal, but you're probably clueless about training.

if you get your shit together, you'll have it easy, especially at a bw of 300 goddamn.

I can bench 45 pounds.

IN B4 JEALOUSY.

If you have to plateau, do so at 315. It's even evener.
