how many of you /fit/fags are in college atm?

can't EVER get any healthy food here. I'm relegated to turkey on whole wheat every night.
>> Anonymous
who cares about healthy food?

eating calorie-dense junk is great if you lift

HAHHAHAAHAH

enjoy looking disgusting and out of shape like any other fag even though you're constantly lifting.
>> Anonymous
Ugh same here. Food is shit here, I just get a wheat wrap with just chicken in it, no sauce or anything.

Enjoy never making progress because you're too afraid to lose your abs

my dining hall is pretty decent. breakfast is usually an egg white omelette with mushrooms, bell peppers and tomato and a serving of OATZ with blueberries.

pretty decent.

Some sauces aren't bad for you. Mustard and Frank's hot sauce have zero calories (hot sauce does have sodium though).
>> Anonymous
>>459560
Well sodium's not inherently bad for you unless you're eating way too much of it.

yea freshman year i dormed.....dining hall was terrible..max of 2 meals a day. -_-

Man I'd kill for that, even though they only have oatz sometimes here, though they have boiled eggs everyday which is a plus.

There's a dearth of fruit though, that's annoying.

>>459567

Yeah, that's the worst part I don't even have enough meals on my meal plan to eat 3 times a day, and I'm stereotypically low on cash. I think I'm gonna get a whole bunch of boneless chicken breasts up here, freeze 'em and eat one a day with some beans to make up for that 3rd meal.

same as these guys. if you want more options then eat tuna, seafood or egg on wheat. Then you can add a little mayonnaise to make it a salad if it doesn't have high fructose corn syrup in it or has a low fat content.

Going to a state uni, pretty wealthy one. While my healthy eating has been impacted by coming here compared to what it was at home, it's still very good here compared to other colleges.

But buying food on campus is really expensive, I'm spending like 3 times as much on food as my parents spent on me when I was at home. Everytime I go home to visit, we go grocery shopping and I take like a month's worth of food back to campus with me because it's so much cheaper.

I go to college and I cook my food at home. My cooking sucks and is nasty as hell but atleast it's healthy.
>> Anonymous
buy hundreds of cans of tuna and store it in your dorm.
>> Anonymous
don't you have a kitchen in your dorms?
just cook for your self

>eating calorie-dense junk is great if you lift
dirty bulk ftw
where are my cheeseburgers?
>> Anonymous

since this thread is here, I sometimes eat a cheeseburger on a wheat bun with mustard, am I doing it wrong?

I'll eat anything and fucking everything after lifting.

After doing insane shit like deadlifting and squats, your body is a fucking furnace and will use carbs and proteins like a motherfucker.

Cheeseburgers, french fries, eat all that shit. You need a caloric excess for mussel growth. You can always cut later.

Eating at the dining hall was the first time I ever ate healthy in my life.

Sorry to hear that yours sucks.
>> Anonymous
umm eating tons of shitty food is not only going to make you fat, it will make you unhealthy.

being fit is seriously not just about SQUATZ and OATZ
>> Anonymous
Its simple. Eat junk is called dirty bulking. You will gain muscle but a lot of fat also. Clean bulking is better as you will gain less fat but see same muscle gains.

No morons. Lifting is not an excuse to fill your fat fucking unhealthy face with junk food.

Fucking rage.

I'm don't know what that is next to the macaroni, but I would eat the fuck out of that.

Ok. Enjoy your 200 calorie chicken breast PWO.

You're not going to see shit for gains.

undercooked chicken breast?

I'm in college, but I commute from home. That means I have 2 1/2 - 3 hours of boredom on the train every day, but it also means I get to sleep in my own comfy bed and cook my own food.

Like that other guy, my cooking sucks. But at least it's healthy, and I keep getting better and more adventerous. I take up to an hour out of my day every evening to cook lunch for the next day.
>> Anonymous
>>459638
Yeah, because it's impossible to eat a lot and eat healthy.
>> Anonymous
Isn't there a salad at the cafeteria? lettuce, celery, and other vegetables can cut down on your appetite so you can still eat shit, but it'll be easier to portion control.
