Question from a newbie: are stronglifts more geared for building muscle or can I use them as an effective way to burn fat along with cardio?

as the name inply stronglifts gives you strenght, you will build msucles wich will help in burning fat. But you're not training in hypertrophy so you won't get as big as bodybuilders who train exclusively for size.

Also do HIIT along it and you'll be fine in your fat burning quest.

Lift hard, eat more, do HIIT, reap the rewards.

So you skip at a normal rythm and you either skip to your max speed for the intervals or you sprint in place
