I doubt you have the willpower to starve yourself. They're far more dedicated than you.

And exercise addiction is an extremely common symptom of ana/bulimia. They aren't just sitting on their asses eating nothing, they're often eating nothing and forcing themselves to run 5-10 miles per day in heavy clothing. It's one of the most dangerous diseases you can have.

Alright I want to revise my statement, bulimics are retards AND they're lazy pussies.

you're right you have bested me, sir. But seriously get some fucking mental help. It pisses me off when people have obvious mental problems and don't get help for them.

also, I did develop anorexia. I would constantly count calories, and getting out of it was fucking hell.

b) how long it took : 2 years (to keep it off)
c) how we lost it : I was in college so i only really had time to eat once a day, and there was a free gym.

a) 70 lbs
b) 10 months
c) Ate more green stuff and less processed crap, cook for myself 90% of the time vs. eating from cans and boxes, started walking everywhere. A simple plan, really.

Have maintained said weight loss for five years.

A) 100 lbs.
B) 5'10", 275 lbs. (Mid-2005) to 6' 175 lbs. (April 2008). Currently 180.
C) Lost 50 lbs. just by walking moar, cutting soda, and growing two inches (this took a year though). Lost 30 lbs. in 3 months by counting calories (2,000/day) and rowing (7,500 meters 6x a week). Went from roughly 195 to 175 in one year after transferring to a new university. Began seriously lifting weights and alternated with weeks of intense rowing. (10,000 meters 7x a week with high intensity intervals 4-6 times.) Also went through my last growth spurt (wider shoulders and back).

More a lifestyle change than anything, I've only really been dedicated to lifting weights and fitness in the last six months or so. Plan to join NCAA team next year (lulz D-III, priority housing and class selection). I also became a vegfag around 2006, and took a keen interest in diets and nutrition. Currently at around 12% BF and looking to cut it to around 10% with a goal weight of 185-190.

1) 5'6" (183 lbs) entering college freshman --> 160 lbs beginning of summer junior year. (Currently 167 lbs T_T no time to work out because of classes...)
2) I lost about 20 lbs in 2 - 3 quarters and the last few pounds over the course of sophomore year.
3) First 10 lbs --> Swimming. Next 15 lbs --> Running and dieting

Yeah, yeah... I know it's not much... but it made me happy :) I lost 5 inches off my waist though ^_^

a. 60 lbs. (from 215/220 to 155)
b. Roughly 8 months
c. Initially, just pushups and eating better (somewhat starving myself; ate only fruit all day, then dinner), and eventually got into running and other bodyweight exercises

Funny though, I feel worse about myself now than I did back then; the further you get, the further you feel like you are from your goal ._.

forgot to mention that I gave up ALL sweets and ALL dressings; no cake, cookies, soda, ice cream, ketchup, salad dressing, barbecue sauce, et cetera

except mustard; it's harmless and delicious :)

a) 12.3kgs (27.06lbs)
b) 4 months
c) change diet. 2 first months I couldn't. I was still eating crap. Then I could eat more vegetables and fruits. Frequent cardio (running 3 times a week for an hour) without plateau. This improved my physical condition. I can run faster, farther and longer now. Run almost every day for one week. Though my legs are okay now (muscles from running) I have to start lifting because my chest and arms are really weak (and still flabby). I am not eating enough. I feel sleepy all day long. Maybe bordering on ana if I screw up now.
