Wow I love /fit/.

Seriously, if I looked on a workout forum or any shit like that I'd feel like a fat fucking loser who spends too much time on his computer. (6'5" 255lbs) So now I can be a nerd, and learn how to get in shape.

So I'm looking for some help here, I go to the gym four-five days per week for a half an hour, and the only purpose is for being good looking, nothing else matters because I have no need to be in shape.

Anybody have a workout routine that can get me in shape in a decent amount of time with the time constraints I have?

Thanks in advance /fit/, here's what I would like to look like. I know it's not possible, but c'mon, I'd kill a few girls with chainsaws to look like that.

count calories. eat protein. cut fat, cut carbs. work those weights. reduce bodyfat. increase muscle. win.

I have to make a not that I don't use the free weights, at the only time I have to go to the gym they're taken, so I have to use the machines. Which ones should I use? Since it's for looks only I've been working on my (rapidly decreasing) bitch tits and bi and triceps. Is this good? I already eat pretty good, health food store shit, tastes bad but it's tolerable.

why don't you ask the people using the weights if you can work together with them?

diet diet diet. The only way you'll get "ripped" is with a VERY strict diet -- one you probably won't get out of anybody here (because there's a lot of do's and don'ts that nobody has the time or patience to type out). The gist of it is...

30% of calories from lean protein (milk, chicken, fish)

55% from healthy carbs (whole wheat anything, veggies, oatmeal)

15% from Essential Fatty Acids (vegetable oils, fish fat. Look for monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats on the labels)

Eat that proportion in every meal, for 5-6 meals a day. Do cardio that hits your target heart rate for 45 minutes as often as your body will let you. Work each major muscle group at least twice -- and at most thrice -- a week. Bodybuilders do it more, but a body builder you ain't!

Do some homework and put together a STRICT regimen of diet and exercise that leaves no room for guessing or eyeballing and you'll shed weight easily.
