More than likely, nothing! Sorry but anatomy never lies and from what you have described, it has to do with the attachment point of the pectoralis major tho the sternum on the lateral more aspect verse the midline. It's your biology not you technique thats failing you. To gain the appearence of larger chest muscles do more upp back work to stregthen an area plagued by weakness in most ameteur lifters. This will pull the shoulders back and naturally arch the chest out. You'll look bigger and will gain strength in the chest by restoring the normal contaction relaxation lengths of the pecs.
