hey /fit/,
I want to start doing exercises to make my strikes (elbows, knees, punches, kicks, etc.) more powerful, but I don't know what exercises to do. I am assuming I would want to do plyometrics and o lifts, but I was wondering what specific exercises would help my strikes. Are there any exercises that would specifically help a certain strike?

Compound exercises
Basically what I'm saying is
MOAR SQUATZ
Also use a heavy punching bag

I am all set with my compound exercises. I have a punching bag, but it is some shit filled with water. Will this work for the time being? I plan on getting a heavy bag after I get a new job.

Thanks, smartass. I am not looking to develop the SKILLS, I am looking to make my strikes stronger. Throwing a punch is a skill. Making it stronger is not. Do you know what "skill" means?

Is this any good? Should I swap out the sledgehammer for a crowbar and get ready for the resonance cascade?

Cleans, snatches, etc. Most of the o-lifts are going to make you strikes more powerful if you do them right
