Too skinny /fit/?

I'm not wanting to be a beefcake, I think it's an okay weight. Would just like a second opinion.

Mostly cardio, I bike half an hour 5 days a week.

Jog in the mornings for 45 minutes, and ~40-50 pushups a day.

With my diet, I drink only water and I eat alot of fruit and vegetables. I eat three times a day, I don't ever skip meals. Ummm, I don't eat anything sugary, and nothing white. That's about it really.

If you do not do squats or dead lifts I would suggest starting some study into them. The two exercises are the quintessential mass builders in exercise science.

Stimulation of large muscle groups helps to increase human growth hormone release as well as accelerating your metabolism.

The whole "Work your legs and everything will grow" adage is one physiologically sound. The fact you are biking each day is a serious plus as well as cycling is not a evolutionarily adjusted exercise, meaning our bodies did not evolve on bikes, they evolved on 2 feet.

Cycling = More hormone release than Running, so you have a ace in the whole right there, keep that up.

Pull ups, in different hand grip variations are also a good idea. Again, big muscle group (lats, traps) and these exercises will give you a nice V-shape like superman.

As far as diet I would suggest sticking with what you are doing, people tend to overcomplicated things, I have a degree in this shit and I over complicate it all the time. As your activity increases eat what you feel like eating and as much as you want; your body will tell you if its too much or too little.

>>397818eat what you feel like eating
You should add the corollary: unless you're skinny. Then eat more than you feel like. Most skinny people are chronic undereaters and could do with some calorie counting. Take me, for example.

397818 here

>>397818

That is a good point.
I am currently 170 , 5'11, 8% body fat and go through periods where I under-eat even when my activity level requires more caloric intake. Usually I get too busy to fix food because of school and work stress. I am also about to turn 27 and have never had a problem putting tons of shit away but in the last 3 years my metabolism has begun to slow and I have to be careful with what I take in as it can cause serious problems to my blood sugar and result in greater fat retention.

When I maintain a consistent diet of 3k - 4k cals a day I don't have a problem eating.

There is a formula on the web that can help you determine your caloric demand based on activity so that might be worth looking up.

The Zone Diet is also a great resource that I've used the last few years while bodybuilding and strength training for triathlons.

Build up a bit of muscle, you've already got the abs but the rest (from what I can see) is no good.

you look like a scrawny 120 pound faggot.

that is all.

OP

you are what i looked like on day 1 of ever touching a weight. disgusting. so much in fact i was motivated to add 70lbs over 3 years so i could actually COULD move real weights, as opposed to just looking like it.

i am disturbed by you perception of "end game perfection". you look like a child, something lithe, supple, and tight....desirable for a NABMLA cover model, not a man
