/fit/, I have a problem with my diet. I have a remarkably fast metabolism. I'm fine with this and have become accustomed to a difficult but managable 'eat-everything-you-can-and-then-eat-some-more' diet; I'm slowly but surely putting on weight. Good weight.

My problem is, eating so much seems to have caused me minor digestive problems. I get bad gas. Occasional stomach cramps. I keep it high protein as my focus is muscle building. I've been told this in itself could be causing the problem. But then, it's not something I could easily give up.

Do you have any advice?

try some yogurt and yea it's the protein

take a break on all that protein once a week. go easy, that's hard for the body to digest so much high protein constantly. just like fruits and water for some of the time.

have you tracked the bad gas to occurring after eating anything specific? i've seen candy bars cause bad gas in myself, i never really asked anyone about this. wish i did.

Almost all gas is caused by bacteria digesting carbohydrate (fiber is the worst).

I never have gas when im eating 3000+ calories on anabolic diet, mostly from red meat

Try limiting wheat, beans and corn
