sup /fit/, and I apologize for visiting the obscene horror that is the attached picture upon you. I've never checked /fit/ before, so I apologize if my post comes off as what passes for a troll.

In the beginning of May I weighed 220 lbs,6 foot. That was when I was done with college for the summer, and I decided I did not want to be such a fat lazy fuck. So I vowed to not eat like a retard and wakeup early and run everyday. In favor of a diet I would not keep, I decided to work into eating more healthy amounts of what I already eat, and forgoing that snack before work or bed, etc. I only manage to run once a week.

I have a physical job @ fedex being a package handler, which usually involves unloading packages from the vans or loading onto trailers. Boxes weigh between 10-100 pounds, and its a pretty fast paced job. However Its mostly lifting, and we all get fucking exhausted and covered in sweat, I dont know how much of a real workout it is.

So now august rolls around. My scale doesent have batteries so I don't know how much I weigh, but last count about a month ago was like 210~, but recently I've been doing a more difficult job at work the whole last month. Anyways. Family members I only see once in a while keep saying "oh you look so much better, lost weight" etc etc. However I don't really feel I've made that much progress. Is 15-20 pounds of fat loss + moderate muscle gain in 3 months something to be proud of or ashamed of?

I acknowledge I havent been running or doing much exercise outside of work. So now going to ask a blanket question, assuming my pace and progress is lacking:

Can /fit/ recommend :
-General tips for turning my "semi-intelligent eating" into a genuine diet that will show results
-Exercise or shit to do at home.(I'm not opposed to spending a decent amount of money on supplies). Simply with school starting in a month and my work schedule ontop of that, I dont see myself having time to go to a gym.
-General advice for "slimming" down. ie, is one of my big problems simply not running everyday etc?
-Any other advice?

It could just be a case of me...not seeing it. But in all honesty the picture I have of may 7th, when compared to the one I posted...It looks the exact same(to me). like..the 20 pounds is gone from the scale. I think I look slightly slimmer with a shirt on etc..but nothing noticable.

any progress is something to be proud of, ANYWAY.
1. eat below 500 your maitinence, trust me it works. Just stray away form sugars/saturated fat.
2. just stay with cardio if you don't have a chance to follow a routine
3. be more active, less time on the internet moar time just walking around or whatever
4. dont give up
