This is health related, in a way, so here I am.

So I decided my face could use a little better taking care of and began applying Neutrogena facial cleansing whatever to it. Thing is, I sort of left the soap on my face. Meaning I didn't wash off the soap.

I did this for two days, since the first produced no signs of peeling or burning. The next evening however, all day long my face was red, almost passing off as "healthy-looking." I was worried, however, and rightly so - that evening my face looked red and splotchy in the places where I left the soap. I have since stopped applying it, and I figured it would just go away, since its commercial brand facial soap, but now my face has begun this gross peeling ...thing, it looks white and scratchy (not noticable from afar) and isn't too much fun to touch. At least I felt clean.

Halp /fit/? There was a moisturizing lotion in my mother's cabinet I applied sparsely to the affected regions.

You're an idiot. You've just torched your facial skin. Only hope now is to use a good moisturizer and wait for the dead shit to slough off.

Always wash off the damn soap. What the hell is the matter with you.

I think I might have just gotten trolled.

You weren't trolled.

How long will it take the dead skin to leave?
