i've yet to hear a good excuse for why someone can't work in weights at least two or three times a week.

but if not then do pushups. Wide, narrow, explosive, backpack, rolling. Those will all work your chest. However you should really consider bench press, flys, cable crossovers, incline press, etc. etc.

I've got one.

I have no car and the gym is not along the bus route and it takes 15 minutes to get there DRIVING, let along walking. I have access to a car at night, but I work until 10, which is the precise time the gym closes.

the problem with pushups is usually that they don't do well w/ the lower pecs- dips is the solution. dips for lower pecs=win
