So I've finally got off the junk food and stuff, and for the last 4 days I've been completely exhausted while my body figures out it has to fend for itself now.

I'm eating alot of apples and oatmeal mostly; and drinking plenty of water. My budget's pretty tight at the moment, but what are some high priority things I should be eating?

eggs chicken brown rice broccoli sweet potatoes and flax seed meal. Every day. You may need a multivitamin for such a restrictive diet too. Also, if you're tired then you aren't eating enough. Eating the healthy foods isn't a ticket to just coasting by and not evaluating your intake. Start counting calories.

About 5 meals a day. With the exception of dinner, its usually cereal and fruit as mentioned.

5 meals? That still isn't a number you can use. I can eat 5 'meals' of a strawberry each or a whole pizza each.

Measure how much you need and eat it. 1-1.5g of protein per pound of body weight. 1-1.5g of carbohydrate per pound of body weight. 1/3g fat per pound of body weight.

Formulas you can use to find your goal calories:
LOSE
(weight-BF%)*15= cutting calories per day.
weight*15= maintenance calories

Bulking calories I don't worry about since I'm fat right now.

You want your maintenance calories if your bodyfat is below 15%. You want your cutting calories if above 15%.

So, how many calories are you eating in a day? This is important and if you want to STOP feeling so fucking tired then you will need to eat properly.

OP, screw all this counting calories BS. Eat nothing but fresh fruits, lean meats (fresh fishes, chickens), and vegetables. Drink only water. Only cook the meat. Eat the plants whole and raw. Fresh fruit is the most important thing to your overall health.

My food intake is like 60% fruit, 25% chicken/fish, and 15% vegetables. My energy level is transfinite, my immune system is invicible, and I eat CONSTANTLY. It's awesome.

If that sounds too expensive, then sell your car and buy a bus pass / walk / bike /etc. That's what I had to do, and the tradeoff is that you get more exercise for free.

I gave you the solution to your diet woes. It involves very little work everyday and the benefits are that you get rid of the tired feelings. Don't be a jackass and think you know you are eating enough, prove it to yourself.
