chick wanting to get in shape. I hear you all talking about cutting/bulking, but I'm wondering if I should do the opposite since I obviously don't want to get any bigger.

Three options I guess:
1. Cardio (SPIN CLAZZ, running etc)
2. Lifting (SQUATZ, etc)
3. Cardio AND lifting

which would be the best? Trying to go down about 15lb and TONEKERMIT, but not sure what the best way would be.

This. Lift heavy, not light, you wont get bulky or huge. Eat less, run more. HIIT is good. Squat and other compound lifts are good. And remember, you cannot spot reduce.

Thanks! I've been following that one for a bit, but I should probably up my weights for lifting. Also, with HIIT, how long is "good"? I've read and heard the entire range for cardio in general--20 minutes + warm up/cool down, 30 minutes is when you actually start burning, doesn't matter how long your intervals are as long as you accumulate 45 minutes a day--obviously I should go for as much as possible, but are there any actual facts on cardio times?

4-5 sprints at maximum intensity is good

you lose more calories throughout the day from the metabolic boost than from the actual activity

For HIIT, start by doing a 5 minute warm-up, 5 minutes of intervals, and then 5 minutes for a cooldown. The intervals vary from person to person, but I personally do 15/15.
