Hello /fit/Well, I've been jogging for the past three weeks, and there has been changes that have happened in addition to proper diet (I hope). I jogged 4 km today (pure jogging) and I brisk-walked about 2.5 km. That's not much, I know, but way different from the puny amount I could run years before.Anyway, I was planning to start with HIIT tomorrow morning or evening (probably evening, as there's a marathon I think). I wanted to ask, though, that with a capacity to sustain jogging for 4km, can HIIT be done? I don't mean easily, as it is a lot of work, I know, but is it feasible for me?My feet no longer feel sore also even after all that distance, so I think I'm game tomorrow morning. It's only for four minutes, after all.
HIIT is a possibility for almost anyone. The question is one of intensity.Do your warmup, stretch correctly and know how to tell if you've pushed too far (PROTIP: if your vision goes blurry, STOP!) Have fun.
Warm-up? By just running around, or semi-jogging? I feel HIIT is best done on mornings so I'm going to do them early morning tomorrow. :)
