Hey /fit/,

I've got some questions about sit ups. I'm 5'7, 184 lbs and all of my weight is belly fat/man boobs. I know the situps probably won't help the man boobs, but I've adjusted my diet recently and I've been making some progress there anyways (along with cardio).

Anyways, what is a good amount of sit ups to do? How should I feel? And when is it good to stop? I've been trying to do them, and it'll feel really intense, so after a while I'll just stop, but I never feel the burn very long.

Thanks!

i'm no expert, but what i do is ALMOST as many as i can in a row, take a 30 second - 1 minute rest, then do almost as many as i can again, rest, etc.

but, sit ups really aren't an efficient way of exercising. push ups are for REAL men

Thanks for the info, jackass. If it wasn't something I woke up to every morning, saw in the mirror and felt ashamed of it might actually be new info, but I've actually known for a while. Good thing I'm trying to change it right?

And just as an fyi, I'm 184lbs in a 32 now, but I WAS 212lbs in a 38.
