The kind that comes from the faucet.

the kind that comes from the faucet.. and filtered. The shit here isn't drinkable straight from the tap.

Fuck yeah, water. Though I have tried many many types of bottled water before, including de-ionized water that comes in chem labs. Slightly bitter but not bad.

I buy purified water like 33 cents a gallon from a local supermarket, and drink that. Sometimes I forget paying for it.

i get my watter from a 600 foot well that goes streight threw sand stone (best tasting and coldest water in the world imo)

No one else drinks bottled water?

I drink filtered (we have a Brita pitcher AND a filter on the faucet for cooking). But when I'm on the go I get filtered water. I usually get Fiji but when I'm poor I just get any old bottled water. That Smart Water is good for hangovers or just in general for the day after a party, etc. It's got added electrolytes.

I like to drink my water straight from the tap, however- i have had a few bottled waters. Smartwater is the only one where i can say it 'tastes good' more so than like.. shitty deer park or something like that. Dont know why, but if i have to buy bottled water (like if im on the road and left my cup) i try to buy smartwater. Also, the big fucking bottles are awesome to refil and reuse with my own tap water. Holy shit, it holds so much!

Once again, Op here. There is a very foul flavor caused by green algae in the lake of our water source. Filtering doesn't remove it, nothing removes it. I have tried 5 different filters and its still there....so I buy bottled water.

Yeah, because I'm sure, you know, ice isn't colder water?

PROTIP: recycling plastic bottles actually uses tons of energy, more than to make a new bottle so recycling is bad and dumping is good.

Energy is renewable; we can always make more energy. And you can't automatically assume every source of energy causes pollution. Every plastic bottle in the landfill will take centuries to break down completely. Besides that, we need to recycle our fucking plastics because oil is going to run out in like 50-100 years and the shit will be crazy expensive to make.

Tap water still contains lead and chlorine, and tastes like shit.

Historically, our country's water hasn't been naturally good to drink. In the 1830s most Americans were drinking whisky and milk as opposed to water straight from the source because it made people sick.

Sure, our water is better than say, Mexico's, or Angola's, but it's not always safe to drink from the tap (and it depends on where you live).

Recycling is fucking lame.

You drank de-I water? What the hell is wrong with you?!?! It has no ions in it, so when it gets into your system osmolarity pushes all of *your* ions into all of the de-I water you just drank.

That's why those football players, marathon runners, and ravers keep dying: you're essentailly leeching all the salt out of your body.

All potable water has *something* dissolved in it. "Pure water" is a marketing concept to sell bottles of tap water to idiot hipsters.

Tap water out here tastes really bad, but still I use a filter instead of paying for bottles of watter

I buy water like, once a month; I buy it for the bottle and reuse it until I want a new bottle. I really like that smart water too. :)
