I'm confused, does a lot of sleep boost or slow down your metabolism? How much sleep is ideal per night?
All of your muscle recovery is done while you sleep. Ideally you should get 8-10 hours a night with a protein snack right beforehand so you don't delve into too much of a caloric recess (inevitable but you can help counter it).If you don't rest your body won't heal so tl;dr - it boosts it, sleep lots.
8 hours is good. consistent is key, as with just about everything else.
what is a good protein snack to have before you sleep?
umm protein snack before you sleep? enjoy your fat

>>112817i had some cheese, im pretty sure that has some protein. Am i right about that?
>>112819I THINK that's more dairy/calcium...which can help keep your weight in check, but I don't think it has as much as meats/nuts/fish/eggs.Peanuts are also proteins, but I don't THINK they have as much as meats and eggs.
cheese has a lot of proteins but as much as fat, so it's not really a good choice
