Sausages are very, very bad. I ate one while looking at the packaging and realised its about 200 calories per small sausage. Im not perfect, i did swallow it but made up for it later.
Basically, as bland as it is, you are stuck with:
Chicken Turkey Pork, but not alot Quorn/Soya Protein
red meats arent that great for you and i cant sit here and tell you its easy to eat chicken and veg every single night. You can vary it, but since you eat carbs in the morning you are stuck with protein in the evening which is the way to go for you.
In my situation i get protein in morning and afternoon and small carbs in the evening. Not the best way, i dont eat carbs after 5pm, though im considering eating my evening meal in the morning as its basically healthy microwave meals and veg.
So basically, white meats = good (except duck/goose, they are very fatty), red meats = bad.
You can also have vegetable stir-fry some evenings, i love doing it because vegetables are low in calories.
I'm not saying completely cut red meat, but try keep it white meat 5/6 days a week, red meat 1/2 a week.
