Check out bodybuilding.com and T-nation(testosterone nation) for some helpful articles concerning fat loss and muscle growth. Secondly, one cannot spot reduce; it is impossible. You can build muscle in certain areas, but you cannot lose fat in 'certain' areas. Fat is depleted from all over the body; one section doesn't look 'thin' and the other 'fat'. Body mechanics don't necessarily work that way.
Thirdly, try checking out stronglifts.com or starting strength by Rippletoes. Hope I helped you out.
