Buy them at a cheap grocery store and cook it yourself. Buy the stuff that's on sale or about to go bad and eat it immediately.

go to your local groceries store?

honest, when I started eating healthy
I had more money in the end because you can buy a lot of greens for the price of a meal at burger king...

try to stick to the "fruit of the season"

You can get a bag of frozen legumes really cheap, and they often last more than a week. Put some in a bowl of water to thaw when you get up and have a good handful with your main meal. They mix in well with a LOT of things.

Or perhaps I just really fucking love green beants.

I didn't express clearly what I meant. These are the kind you get really cheap frozen all year around.

Tinned and Frozen Veg and Fruits are usually cheap to buy in large quantities and can of course last you longer than fresh produce. Also it's usually has an equal amount of vitamins or in some cases frozen has more.

Just be careful of buying anything that has loads of extra salt, sugar or preservatives added to it.
