skinny ecto noob lifter here

tried a few supplements, felt like i was being robbed everytime i bought them and haven't really seen the gains they offered.

however; i started eating a tin of omega3 rich fish every morning with toast as a supplement to breakfasts that normally include a bowl of cereal and a few eggs and some bacon.
pic related: these beauties contain 23g of protein per can, and the cereal and bread means i get enough carbs, and the eggs and bacon tastes awesome and gibes me plenty energy and protein too.

also, for post workout, instead of having a shake i pop to the supermarket that is really close by and grab a rotisserie chicken, the entire of which i will devour with jack daniels bbq sauce in about 20 mins. add to this regular meals, and i've found a far superior method of getting my daily protein. i've gained about 7kg so far in the past 3 weeks, though i finished my last supplement two and a half weeks ago and haven't been able to eat a chicken every day, just usually post workout because squats make me hungry.

also, a whole rotisserie chicken costs around £3, whereas a pack of 4-5 breasts can cost between £4-7. fuck you credit crunch.

Old enough. I lol because excess omega 6 are claimed to be unhealthy. It's omega 3 that are claimed to be healthy.

Surprisingly, when I started taking omega 3 last term I could concentrate better at class.

I took it as a recommendation from a friend after I'd already tried iron and multivitamin supplements. (I was cutting down on caffeine).

I'm one of those typical 'can sleep 14 hours straight, can't get out of bed before 12' person, so it was a great help.
