/fit/, I think I have a shitting problem.

I don't think I'm going nearly enough. One good dump about every 3 days seems to be my average.

I've tried a high fiber diet, and all it did was give me terrible, terrible gas. My stomach would just hurt so bad like I had to go, but when I'd take a seat, it would be nothing but air and (sometimes) a clear fluid that just looked like someone spit in the toilet a few times.

Is this just the way I am, or is something wrong? I don't remember it being this bad.

Don't add too much fiber to your diet at once.

When I became vegan (in b4 shitstorm) I got the worst gas for about 2 weeks, and then it went away.

If you're gonna switch to a high fiber diet, you'll have to stick with it for a while to let your digestive system adapt, or try adding some fiber here and there and slowly up it.

I don't think my regular diet is so devoid of fiber that I would be having this problem in the first place. That's mainly why I'm concerned.

Well I thought so as well. I always ate lots of fresh and dried fruits and whole grain breads, but I guess the addition of more legumes to my diet shocked my system somehow.

I'd still try going back to the diet (especially if it's one you can maintain), and see if it gets better after a couple weeks. Also take some anti gas/bloat pill if needed I guess.
