Lower back pain Anonymous
Hey /fit/,

I just wrote an explanation of some back pain I'm having and decided it was way tl;dr. To cut it short, I'm a 6'3", recovering anorexic male, who is currently experiencing lower back pain.

This back pain is aggravated exclusively by sitting in a chair. Lifting heavy shit, standing for 8+ hours, bending over, chopping wood, carrying a backpack, etc. all have no effect on my pain. 90% of chairs hurt me, yet 99% of car seats do not. My posture is fine.

The only lead I have is that I may have injured myself by riding a bike made for someone with a max height of 6 feet. At the time that I rode, however, I experienced no pain. I have discontinued biking for 2 weeks and seen no improvement.

Do any of /fit/'s wisemen know some exercises that may soothe my ailing back, or a possible explanation for my pain?

Get pain killers from a doc.

Supermans

You lie flat on your belly. Arms straight ahead like you're flying like superman. Lift your entire upper torso off the ground. Get up there. Chest has to be off the ground, hold and then descend. Repeat

Another one. Stand with legs spread a little past shoulders (like a cheerleader). Have weights in your hands (5 lbs would be good). Bend over with your weights on the ground, lift yourself with your back. Do this in sets of rise.

When you wake up in the morning curl like a fetus. It stretches the back.

Deadlifts, absolutely. I had the same problem, almost ZERO back muscles.
Learn how to do deadlifts. And I mean LEARN it. If you don't do it right it'll destroy you.
