Im looking into taking protein, just the Whey stuff you can get at costco. i workout generally ever day, but small workouts. heres what i do:

6 sessions of pullups until muscle failure, 4 sessions of curls until muscle failure. I get my cardio from rugby training everyday.

Is this workout sufficient enough to get results from taking protein?

Eh, not really. You should be working your whole body, not just your back and your biceps.

Doesn't rugby training includes some weigh lifting? If you are on the pack, you must absolutely work your legs. In fact, at any position, you should absolutely work your legs.
