How long until I start seeing results? Anonymous
So I've been working out for almost three weeks now. Cardio daily for 20 minutes, and ~30 minutes of strength training 3 days a week. I notice I'm getting a bit stronger but in reality it's still kicking my ass and it's a chore just to get up and do it every day.

How long does it take to start feeling some real changes in your body? I'm not talking about fat loss, which I'm already experiencing. I'm talking about fitness level, and to a lesser extent post-workout euphoria. I don't feel any more fit now than three weeks ago, and although I do feel a bit better immediately after my workout, it's not enough to make me want to keep going.

Depends on how fit you were before and how difficult your cardio routine is.

Less fit people will feel results sooner.

It had been over 2 years since I last "exercised."

It's possible you're just not built for exercise. I used to workout a fair bit, cardio and weights, and I never got any post-workout euphoria. Eventually I had to drop cardio because I hated it and never felt good after doing it, just tired. I still do weights, but again, I don't experience any type of post-workout euphoria with it. When it's over, I'm kind of happy that I've done it instead of brushing it off, but that's about it.

I could be doing it wrong though.

dude, it takes a LONG time

I think I heard somewhere it takes 6 weeks at least before you notice a change in your body, and you shoulnt feel it while its happening, that means you will gain the fat back

I took me months to lose 35 pounds of fat and more to put on a significant amount of muscle.
