how long have you been doing this? only a week and a half? if so you cant expect instant progress, its all about the long term
cut out the junk like sweets, chocolate, soda, crisps etc. and eat more veg, maybe have days where you eat less calories than the normal intake (i found soups help) and you should see some difference, even if it is 1-2 pounds a week
keep at it though
