If you want to gain Muscle: protein enriched soymilk, whey protein isolate from a good source (optimum nutrition for example), and a tablespoon of natural peanut butter blended together.

If you want to gain Weight: Surf /b/, eat candy bars, sleep as little as possible and erratically, make sure to eat one giant meal a day filled with meat and dairy fat.

I've tried to surf /b/ and eat unhealthy, didn't work on me. A week of eating often and healthy and I've gained ~5-6 lbs.

Soy is one of those overhyped wonders. It may actually contribute to breast cancer. When given to animals as feed, they are smaller and weaker.

Soy is not an essential part of the Asian diet and didn't become popular until the 1930s. At no time in human history did people eat anywhere close to as much soy as they do now.

Do whatever you want, but I'll be staying away from soy on a regular basis.

Non GMO soy is fine. I'm not suggesting eating ten pounds a day, let alone daily.

I'll take soymilk over rBGH'd, antibiotic ridden, pesticide saturated, pus filled, disgusting and cruel industry runoff.

Soy is a fucking plant. I agree that it should be used in moderation, just like any other substance you eat/drink. I disagree with unfounded propaganda proliferated by the meat and dairy industry. Pretty humorous that they attempt to make a "health" attack against soy when their industry is nothing short of a pandemic.

I doubt you're taking in half the calories you think you are. Milk's a good source of calories and helps you sneak in a little more protein on top of what you're eating.

10 oz 2% milk (10g protein)
1 scoop whey protein (25g protein)

That's the base. Add whatever else you want. I usually add some form of fruit and sometimes a low-fat ice cream for flavoring.

Blend for 30 seconds. Enjoy. A nice protein shake for right before bed.
