Hey /fit./

I'm an overweight asshole, I work 40hrs a week, am exhausted before and after work, and am also quite insecure about working out in public. The most obvious solution to my issue is to diet properly. This means fewer calories a day, and ideally, burning off even more (I work a job that has me walking/loading/carrying things all night. Third shift grocery stocker at Wal-Mart.)

I used to eat things like hot pockets every day for lunch. Usually the calories on these lunches would be around 600-800, and between 1000-1700mg of Sodium (Holy fucking shit, I know.)

I found a solution, though. Lean cuisine. They make pizzas that are 320 calories and 6xx(I forget specifically how much)mg of sodium. Awesome. The problem here is that these assholes cost like $3 for one pizza the that fits in my hand.

I found a solution to that, though. They make these cheap, refrigerated pizzas that come four to a pack for $2.50. One pizza is about the same size of the Lean Cuisine pizza, has the same calorie and sodium values, give or take maybe 30 on both, so that's awesome.

Here's the point of this thread: The pizzas are really greasy. How much will this affect my health/weight loss? I soak most of it up with paper towels before eating, will this help?

Also, rather than drinking sodas out of vending machines, I get a six-pack of propel and drink it instead. Is this recommendable?

Okay, firstly no more microwave pizzas. Period. No propel, it's just sugar anyways. Drink water and only water. 6 meals a day, which sounds tough, but try for at least 5. Stop eating microwave food and start packing your own lunches. Stuff like whole wheat sandwiches with a slice of turkey and some tomatoes and lettuce inside or something. Count your calories don't get lazy. Some ideas for snacks as your in-between meals could be yogurt and some fruit or cottage cheese and some fruit. The amount of calories to consume depends on your weight and your normal calorie consumption, since you provided us with nothing but that you're an "overweight asshole".

If you're insecure about working in a gym you could try talking walks around your neighborhood during evenings and getting up to jogging. Run up and down stairs until you can't move. Everyday, and don't give yourself the shit excuse of "man I'm too tired today". Either suck it up or drink a cup of coffee and get to it. Weight loss is really just about will power and if you don't have any will to lose weight then you don't deserve to.
