you plan on lifting every day while on velocity? you'll learn to scale that back pretty quickly.
since you've never done velocity before, i'll say max i'd lift 4 times a week, more likely 3. if you want cardio thrown in, do only cardio days and don't mix with lifting for max 2 days. all totaled, no more than 5 days in the gym per week. keep the workouts fairly simple.
why? you're cutting, not bulking. don't even pretend that you're trying to add mass with a hulkamania workout. go in, target a few key areas with some lifts, moderate intensity, moderate weight, get a good sweat going and get out.
yes. 5 shakes a day, even when you're not lifting on those days.
