My secretary had a brain aneurysm yesterday morning at work.

Looks like she might die :(

An aneurysm is not an event; it is a thin bulging area in a blood vessel. What your secretary had yesterday morning at work was a hemorrhage, which is the bursting of an aneurysm.

being pedantic toward my own post: the bursting of an aneurysm is one cause of hemorrhage; hemorrhage does not refer specifically to the bursting of an aneurysm, but rather any copious discharge of blood from the blood vessels (which could also be caused by trauma)

I don't believe you have a secretary, enjoy your hectic workday.

I too, found your post to be shallow and pedantic

I knew someone that had a clot at the base of the skull. Unfortunately, they didn't die. It wasn't an aneurysm, which sucks. Apparently, if you have an aneurysm, you're probably going to die.

Unless it's operable.
