Hey /fit/ I was hoping if you guys would help me out here.

I have problems sweating alot, and am very sensative to the heat (I need AC in like 70 degree weather)

I am a bit out of shape but i'm not obese, and I am working out more now.

Do you have any tips on what to do?

Im the same way. Just get used to it is the best advice i can give. when you do your best to ignore it, it really isnt as bad.

wear a tshirt under other clothes if you're that fussed, and wear loose-fitting button up shirts.

>very sensitive to heat
yeah me too. I like to attribute the sensitivity to my fast pace metabolism releasing all da heat

Aside from losing weight/getting in good cardio shape, which is the best way to go, you might try loose 100% polyester clothes. Yes they aren't very stylish, but these will keep you cooler and best of all sweat won't linger on them the way it does with cotton/linen clothes.

Yeah, I suppose the sweat isnt too problem (I dont have excessive sweating, just, it doesnt take alot)

What about cooling down then?

THe sweat is meant to cool you down.

Not to say "exercise" again and again, but having gotten back in shape recently, it does seem like I'll be drenched in sweat, towel off (no shower) then 10 minutes later I'm dry as a bone, the sweat is just gone. I don't think it was like that when I was fat. In a pinch you can just go in a bathroom and use paper towels, I think the trick is just getting the layer of sweat off, especially out of your hair.

Like the other guy says the sweat is there to cool you down. So you can just cool down faster and deal with the sweat that's on you better... that's why I mention polyester, sweat just slides off.

At any rate, I think there IS some medical treatment for truly excessive sweating. You might ask a doc. But if you're overweight first he'll tell you to get in shape. Clinical oversweating is different than just being out of shape and sweating a lot.
