Hey /fit/I intend to start getting into shape. I have a basic idea of all the excerices I'll need to do. My problem is that I broke my right wrist a year back and it never properly healed. It's okay most of the time, but if I bend it a certain way, or apply too much pressure on it, it makes a cracking sounds and hurts. This makes pushups difficult and painful. What's even worse is that my wrists are thinner and weaker than the rest of me, and by not being able to do pushups (and doing everyhting else like crunches etc), the rest of me us coming along nicer, leaving my wrists looking even more weak. They (the right one expecially) reallyt are my achilles heel.I've tried closing my fists, but that just hurst my fingers. Is there any way to get the same benefits as pushups without putting so much pressure on my wrists, and also, it there any way to excercise my wrists without it being so painful. My doctor is useless.

benchpressing would be an alternative. However you'll have pressure on your wrists too with this.Using lifting bandages might help.Other than that: Ask another doc, preferably a sports doc.

>>297986like this.Just google for "wrist support weightlifting" and you'll get a shitton of results.
>>297998That's great, thank you.
