I run on a threadmill for 10 minutes at 9 kmph (eurofag), but by then im glad its over because my knees and heels start to protest pretty badly. I can go on stamina wise, but its my knees giving me problems. Could be because I have a very slight case of x legs, but im gonna try different shoes, some that are specialized for running. (right now I use flat-soled shoes)
If you want to burn fat you can also consider cycling. I go to the gym on my biccycle wich is already a 20 minute ride and offcourse a great warmup.
