Okay, /fit/, I've got a question about getting into shape for gymnastics.
I've trained for 9 years in martial arts. However, these are ground-based---So No high-flying kicks or any of that sort, however my balance is well in tune, and I've an 'okay' shape.

What are some good exercises to help me bet into better shape for the body that will aid in my performance.

I'm limber as a 20 year old, 6'1 1/2, and 180-182lbs.

Correction: I meant I am limber FOR a 20 y/o.

That's like saying, "I'm cute for a 4 year old"

20 year olds are supposed to be limber.

for gymnastics, amputate about 8 or 9 inches from your lower body.

that should handle the extra BW as well

=/ Yah...I can understand that I'm a bit tall for a wannabe gymnast.

However, 20 year olds are not really limber at this state. People lose their flexibility once they hit teenage years. As for me, I'm still capable of the splits, the vertical push-ups, the doorway bridges, etc etc..

Just need to know how to develop my body more for a gymnast form.
