I'm trying to lose weight, I've been eating healthy, drunk nothing but water, started jogging, is there anything else i could be doing , like while at my computer to help the process along? and if you lost a lot of weight how did you do it, or what habits did you notice to work for you the best?

are you saying eating healthy jogging and only drinking water didn't cause you to lose weight? because if thats what you're saying, you're lying to us or yourself.

I used Atkins to lose all my fat before switching to the Zone diet. I tried doing all the 'take it slow, eat healthy, workout out' stuff, but I just wasn't seeing any results. I did Atkins for 3 months, where I dropped about 20 lbs. Zone's good, its a lot less to eat, but I feel more energetic.

diets like this are stupid. just learn to eat healthy on your own and you'll be much better off. you won't have to cut things out of your diet at all, ever.

in b4 velocity diet. its just another flavor of the week.

i lost 60lbs in 3 months, i didn't buy any diets or supplements or pills. i used common sense on what was healthy and ate 5-6 smaller meals a day.
i did cardio 6 days a week, and lifted weights 5 days a week (probably too much lifting for most people) and drank at least a gallon of water a day, not counting what i had with meals.

well i mean like sticking to a diet plan, ive already started eating more healthy, avoiding fast food as much as i can, so its not an issue of what i eat anymore, so much as staying active

If you are grossly overweight Atkin's will help you drop a lot of weight fast. You need to follow that up with a good regiment of eating 'right' and exercise though or you will just relapse.

I dropped from 295 to 205 on Atkin's in about 8 months then went to basic training and dropped down to 185.

Please elaborate on your diet and exercise regime for those three months. Sounds like fantastic progress.
