Gold's gym Anonymous
I want to join but i'm iffy about the 2 year contract... is there anyway you can pay for something shorter? or are there better gyms out there with better contracts.

find a local YMCA or sport/aquatic center. seriously, golds gym and 2 year memberships are really !@#$ed. Even in about the shitttiest little gym tucked away behind the pool, you will have enough to go on. plus, there are a lower number of roided out fucktards and dumbshits worried about their hair there. God I hate people.

Is it a good Gold's Gym? The meat heads at mine were trying to sign me up at theirs for two years, but the place was tiny and dark and looked like an 80's porn studio. Hell, I recall there being a crazy 80's guitar solo during the climax of our conversation...

Anyway, if it's a good one thats huge, like two full stories, it may be worth it. But if you don't like commitments like that, go for somewhere like LA Fitness. You can bring their initial price and monthly price down by a lot if you act like you're unsure if you want to join, or if there's a special going on in your area, just have no initial fee and pay by the month.
