Fast food? Blasphemy!

None. Even in my sedentary days i never ate fast food, would sometimes get a mcdonalds every 1-2 months, or a chicken kebab from the local chippy on a friday. The chicken kebab is alot better than the shit they put in the regular ones imho.

ITT: Poor tastes.

If you're gonna binge or cheat, fucking do it in style.

fast food is no that bad really
>> Anonymous
Well I read that a large portion of fries is only 500something calories, so yeah some fastfood can't be that bad.

okay well then my trainer is an idiot and i am a fool. it made sense to me when he explained it. he said that when you go on as low-carb of a diet as i am on (25g 5x/day) that you need a cheat day once every week to remind your body that it's not starving (and also to keep your sanity) and that on that cheat day you should eat whatever you're hungry for so that your body resumes a high metabolism. will you please stop talking shit and explain to me why that is incorrect before i fuck up?

You should be eating regular meals, idiot. 4-6 meals a day, thats 3 staples and 1-3 snacks.

Why do people insist on using dangerous short cuts to get thin? Dr. Atkins died of a heart attack for a fucking reason. I'd rather do drugs for a month and have them RAPE the fat off me, taking 3-4 years off my life expectancy than do Atkins for a year.

i'm not doing atkins goddammit will you listen?
i'm eating 25g carbs at every meal. i eat 5 meals a day, spaced out in 3 hour intervals. today is 10, 1, 4, 7, and 10. every single meal contains about 25g carbs and 50g protein, adding to a total of 125 and 250 respectively, which is based on my body weight. each week, i will reevaluate the diet based on my weight. this is to lose fat and gain muscle. i am not starving myself or going ketonic or reading south beach diet books. last night i made a week's worth of chicken broccoli and rice. i'm all set as far at that.

what i'm asking about is CHEAT DAY. i'm confused as to whether or not it's really a "go nuts, no rules" day or if i should have like ONE cheat food or something.

"cheat days" are 99% psychological

They aren't a physically necessary part of getting fit, but they help keep your mind at ease

A true warrior needs no cheat day

A true warrior was never a fatass to begin with.

what about all that metabolism bullshit? it doesn't need a 'jumpstart'?
>> Anonymous
>>154473
No. You don't need cheat days you asswipe. Just eat healty for the rest of your life. NO JUNK FOOD. Maybe once a year because your friends dragged you, and that's too much. Don't want to eat healthy? Cry me a river. If you want to be fit, eat like that.

you actually need the "cheating day" as your body adapts to your regime.

Cheat day is ok. But a cheat day for me, who eats only 3 meals a day, means that 1 of the meals can be fast food or whatever I feel like cooking that day plus a dessert or so. Even on that day you should learn to cheat in moderation, else everything is in vain.
>>154477
It's not required. Nothing speaks against it, however.
