I recommend Tabata every other day or so for cardio, HIIT is also popular. You can google both of these for more info. As for weights, your options are either go to a gym or buy some weights and a bench for at home, whichever you'd feel more comfortable with. If you're at a gym you can watch what other people do, get a personal trainer or whatever. If you're at home, you can work out how you want when you want. www.bodybuilding.com is probably the best fitness-related site I've ever found, has articles about everything.
