What do you think of Gatorade? Good to replenish lost electrolytes or too much sugar and corn aids?

Good if you actually work out and also drink water. Bad if you're a fat faggot that drinks it so he can pretend he's being healthy.

Way too much sugar unless you're doing hardcore training that lasts hours in the heat.

Back when I was training boxing hardcore, I would cut bottled Gatorade 50/50 with water. I only drank that mix when the temp got into the 90s, and even then only when I knew the workouts would last over an hour and a half.

tl;dr: You probably don't need it.

I DO THAT WITH POWERADE BUT ONLY BECAUSE I LIKE TASTE WATER IS OK AS WELL

Not good, way too much High Fructose Corn Syrup. Just drink water. After you workout you can drink powdered Gatorade though, has Dextrose. But water is still the best by far.

Much needed for endurance sports.

So would it perhaps be of use for me, an indoor climber?
(Every session lasts at least over 3 hours, but even then I'd like to last longer)

50/50 it with water. Football coaches, Honors Biology teachers, health professors. I've gotten this from all of them.

More immediately and far less contrived, when I run, my mouth dries out and the spit and saliva turns to super-glue and anti-breathing gunk. When I'd normally stop at a fountain to rinse and spit for a couple minutes, this junk cleans my mouth/throat out fast like mother of Jesus hyped up on E and speed. Maybe it's the salt, maybe it's the sugar.

tl;dr
It won't kill you. I like it.

There're waters that have electrolytes in them... without the sugar and the BS.

Gatorade may serve it's purpose by replenishing, but dyes, sugar and artificial flavoring don't exactly help you.

Gatorade is best during and after competitions and extreme training sessions.

If you're getting cramps or whatever just eat a banana or two before your workout, much healthier.

I drink it while playing hockey because it doesn't run through me like water. I hate having to take a piss during the course of a game because removing my gear just to do so is annoying especially while I'm a sweaty mess.

I usually just drink water.

Mix it with water.

bananas are anti cramps.
