Hey guys, there's this guy at my school who can run 7 miles in 45 minutes, and he's amazing.

I want to be better than him, just to be better, and I can only do 6 miles in 55 minutes :( I have some questions about like, how to run maximum efficiency.

Is sugar bad for running?
Is it okay to eat before running?
Are you supposed to run everyday?
If you did run everyday, how much should I do on average? I usually aim for 4-6
Are you supposed to eat a lot, or just normal? I try to stick to like, three 500 calorie meals. I usually go over though, but that's when I'm so hungry I can't sleep.
