Hey /fit/.

I took up indoor cycling (spinning) two months ago, and it really seems to hit the spot for weight loss.
I usually do it 4 times a week, for 45 minutes at a time. I don't know exactly how much weight I've lost, but it's pretty visible.

Anyone else here into indoor cycling?

Indoors cycling is good, heck even Bruce Lee did it.

I do 7 times a week, 20 minutes at a time. Not spinning though, just a normal stationary bike.

I need to take up spinning again, but the classes at the YMCA get totally filled up. Grr.

I was on it for three months, then I moved on to actual running. It was such a noticeable difference. I don't think I'll go back to biking unless the weather is horrid.

I prefer elliptical, but I used to use the spinning room every once in a while at my old shitty gym when all of the ellipticals were taken up by sorority girls doing 90 strides a minute and chatting on their cellphones.

I always felt like I wasn't really getting a whole body cardio experience on the bike.

when i get to the gym the spinning class is usually almost over. What kind of benifits come from the spinning class?
