Help anon. I'm also trying to gain muscles by doing atleast 200 push ups a day, but all I gained from it was better endurance.

I eat alot of eggs and fish, and the occasional steak. I haven't gained a single pound. Sometimes I lose 10 pounds. I've never been above 120.

try eating healthy, stop drinking sodas

think of a sumo wrestler, although most azn are ectomorph they can gain weight, eat more, and the most important thing be patient and focused, this will take its time, 100gram per week is a succes for your body type, but it will take 10 weeks to gain 1 kg

You need to eat High carb and protein foods

Protein: Eggs, cheese, skimmed milk, Whey powder (it's cheaper than milk). Chicken, Canned tuna/salmon. lean beef.

Carbs: Whole wheat Spaghetti, pasta, rice, whole grain bread.

Peanut butter, nuts, almonds are also good

and LOTS OF WATER

For building muscle (hypertrophy) you have to drastically increase your load, not necessarily the amount of work. When I was building my abs, I built up to 200 crunches, but it doesn't really help after a while. I started holding a 10# dumbbell to my chest, and went until exhaustion, and eventually built up from there.

For pushups, you can put your feet on a bench, and it drastically increases the workload.

Pushups are good, but to build mass you need to be using heavier weights.

Mass building exercises rely on 8-10 reps of the heaviest weight you can use 8-10 times.

As for food, 3000 or more calories a day, from high protein sources.
