>>471396 It's not how far you run, it's how long you keep your heart rate up. Also, it's always a good idea to do cardio twice in a day rather then just once. Now 1 mile isn't really that far by running standards. So once that 1 mile gets real easy for you, you can begin to increase the distance little by little. But running twice a day is great, no matter how far it is.
