what is a good time/distance to ride a stationary bike? i prefer it over running, but i don't know how long i should go for.

i'm just looking to do a little cardio, and maybe lose some weight.

what do you guys recommend? i did around 15 minutes last night, but i can probably go longer.

give it EVERY SINGLE TIME.

cardio = go for as long as is convenient
repeat until that time period is only slightly difficult
then do it harder for the same period of time

I usually went an hour at 15mph, but I got sick of it after a month and did the elliptical instead. Burns way more calories in an hour.

if you're doing some cardio in order to lose fat the absolute MINIMUM you want to do cardio for is 20 minutes. it takes your body 20 minutes to just start burning fat in the first place. if you do 15 minutes and that's it the only thing you're doing is spinning your wheels.

that is unless you're doing HIIT.
