so, this summer i've been drinking a lot, or at least, a lot more than usual. This means, around 5-6 beers a night, 4-5 times a week. sometimes 6. (if you've ever lived in boston in the summer maybe you can share my pain of boredom) my routine is based in calisthenics, so i do pushups, raised pushups, cruches, situps, reverse crunches, burpees, and try to fit in a 20-30 minute run.so, i obviously am getting a nice beer belly like never before, but i've been changing my diet pretty significantly: wayyyy more protein, veggies, wheat, etc. cutting back of sodas, pizzas, takeout, etc. (although, when im drunk,all i want is gross chinee food).my question is, anybody had experience with this? once school starts i definately wont be drinking as much, maybe once or twice a week. any changes i should make in my "routine"? (i do it every other day. one day of recovery in between, and i usually do my cardio on that day, but have been slacking.)it's hard for me to do this workout thing because honestly, i don't care that much how i look, i just hate feeling like a slob. and my friends are all drunks and users, so... most of them don't really understand why one would want to start taking care of their body. OP here. I hate drugs! Never had any interest. i'm just a happily awkward person and alchohol removes the awkward and makes me a happy person. I need to find a happy medium!
