hello /fit/

I developed an autoimmune thyroid disorder in 1998 for which I was treated with lots of hideous medication. I was never thin as a child/teenager but I went from about 70kg to 115kg in about 4 months.

I'm back to 70kg or so now and have been roughly the same size/weight since my recovery in 2000.

I have stretch marks though from literally my neck to my ankles, I have them on my ribcage and shoulders and lower arms and other places I've never seen them even on hugely fat people. they're silver and light, but they cause me grief as the skin is very weak in places and breaks for example when I'm shaving.

I know nothing gets rid of them, but is there any form of surgery I might be able to have to get rid of them? I'm especially upset about the ones on my arms and torso.

my skin is seriously fucked /fit/ what do I do? I've tried acid peels, exfoliation, I've had a treatment of laser and nothing has helped

Dude, that shits out of your control. Best internalize it. Everyone's skin breaks from shaving, it will naturally toughen over time.

As for the stretchmarks? Wear them like a badge of pride. God only knows I've never gone through anything that intense.
