I try to do the WODs regularly, I miss sometimes for injuries or when I'm doing other training (martial arts) that day and don't want to overwork myself.

In the time I've done crossfit, I've been very satisfied. The workouts have an intensity to them that I never got from traditional weightlifting. They generally don't take that long to do but I'm always satisfied with them. I still usually have to tone them down because the WODs are yet too hard for me (I'm a novice). If you start doing them, don't try to do way more than you can and injure yourself; last October after a pullup-heavy WOD it took me a month to recover to be able to do a single pullup again.
