my anus is bleeding! Anonymous
a week ago, i made a lot of blood when i went number 2. my anus doesn't hurt, but it was a LOT of blood. bright red, and it had some gloppy stuff in it too that wasn't poo. i'm a girl, and the gloppy stuff resembles the uterus lining that comes out during that time of the month. like i said before it doesn't hurt, but my stomach does. around 10 minutes before i go poo i get a sharp pain in my lower abdomen and then i make bloody stools. what could it be? i'm afraid to see a doctor.

oh yea and i have been making bloody poo all week

bump. i need help pleaseeeeeeee

bright red indicates it was close to yr anus. probably hemroids.

enjoy! eat more fibre, drink more water, don't spend a long time on the toilet, don't stress to push.

gloppy stuff is probably blood clots. sharp pain in your lower abdomen might be constipation.

but hemoroids would hurt wouldn't they? or itch?
i don't have hard poo, it's more like normal, and then ocasional diahrea. but i am very regular i poo at least 2 times a day and i am only 18. can 18 year olds get hemoroids?

nah, internal hemroids don't hurt or itch since there's no pain receivers in there. they only start hurting like a mofo once they're out, and become thrombosed.

i'm 19 and i got my first one about a month ago, after about 7-8 months of symptoms just like yours.

oh damn, that might be it, i looked it up and it fits the description. i'm afraid to go to the doctor though because it's embarassing, and what if it isnt hemmoroids and its something serious? i couldn't cope with it if i had crohns disease or cancer D:

well that's your decision. there's basically absolutely nothing a doctor can tell you if it's hemroids - all you can do is change your diet, exercise and try to take it easy on your butt the best you can.

Could be Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn's Disease. I just got diagnosed with ulcol myself, with identical symptoms as op.

For god's sake, go to the doctor. They've seen worse and more embarrassing stuff than that. It's what they're there for.
