Hey /fit.

Wanting to change my protein supplement as Cytogainer doesn't seem to be doing much for me. MHP's Up Your Mass was better, but I was taking that for a while and don't feel like going back to it.

I'm thinking about Muscletech's "Nitro-tech Hardcore" because I've been taking their Cell-Tech creatine, and it seems to be woring well. However, all the reviews I've been reading seem suspiciously positive (see: "viral marketing") and I'm curious if any of you guys have tried it.

How is it for building muscle mass?

i use this stuff as it's the lowest cal protein i could find.

1 scoop (24g)=
100 cal (90 for the strawberry flavor)
18g protein

I did say I'm working for mass, right? I'm trying to take 1g of protein a day per pound on my body. So basically I need about 140g a day. More than one serving a day, ofcourse, but at 18g a serving of the stuff you posted, that'd be pretty damn difficult.

Also, calories are not an issue for me. I'm naturally very thin and have SERIOUS trouble putting on weight.

because you're an idiot and spending money on worthless sugar filled weight gainers will not do anything if you don't eat real food. If you're one year into your training you will gain weight without supplements.

Creatine doesn't build muscle directly... what is needed to build them is ample amount of PROTEIN in your diet atleast the same amount in grams of your body weight in pounds. (160 g protein if you weight 160 lbs)

Weight gainers are extra calories and that's it, not something you cannot make at home.

Get some whey protein powder drink one with just water after workouts
Then make a weight gainer out of it by blending it with oats, peanutbutter, olive oil.
>Protip: eat 3-4 eggs for breakfast and eat lots of pasta.

dude, pasta carbonara ftw.
1 cup elbow macraconi
4-5oz procuitto (chunked kind is better since it's cheap)
1/4 cup cooking white wine
1 tbsp olive oil
2 eggs
1/4 cup freshly grated parm
-cook pasta
-cook procuitto/bacon w/oil til done through; add white wine + reduce for 1 min
-beat eggs w/parm
-drain pasta; return to still hot pot
-add eggs to pasta
-add procuitto/bacon +liquid to mix (still hot ideally)
-mix well

heat from pasta/bacon should cook the eggs enough but you can add heat too

This is fucking delicious and doesn't violate any of /fit/'s recommendations for weightlifters, plus its fucking delicious

Why are you lecturing me on Creatine; I didn't ask anyone anything about it.
>>weight gainers will not do anything if you don't eat real food
Why are you assuming I don't eat food, faggot. I try to choke down 6 meals a day, but that's too hard and time-consuming for me.
>>If you're one year into your training
I'm not.

Look at the post above you, nimrod. I already said that.

That's more trouble than I'd care for; and doesn't sound particularly tasty, either. I've mixed protein powders with water, and they don't taste as good as they do with milk.

??? i fail to see your point?

I've used NitroTech, and while I think it's done a great job and I've made some serious gains on it, it's not worth the huge amount of money they charge.

Somebody else mentioned TrueProtein.com. Do this. Their stuff is good quality, tastes great, mixes almost too well, and is very reasonably priced.

He's saying that since each gram of protein has 4 calories in it, that this should only have 72 calories per serving.

Apparently he's angry at you because he forgot to take into account any additives in the product that might contain more.

so buy the whey concentrate then.

trueprotein.com stuff is probably the highest quality whey you can get in America, but feel free to continue to support GNC or WalMart.
