>>452485 Not true, and besides the point, running is a massive caloric expenditure. You can walk at a neat 4-6 miles an hour with minimal effort and cover great distance, or you can run at 10 miles an hour for 2 hours with a lot of effort to get there slightly faster. Hunters rarely gather enough food to justify that amount of continuous exertion for long periods of times.
