Would you all decide on a name already. I hear it called Parkour, Free Runners.. traceurs?

There are differences of sorts between the names. Something like how Free Runners are more into tricking while Parkour is more about getting from A to B with minimal effort. Doesn't really matter as most use the words interchangeably.

I do some basic parkour. Really basic. No flipping about like some sort of circus act. No camouflage pants. Just getting from A to B as fast as I can.

I just call it parkour although free running sounds a bit more inspiring. Regardless I love watching parkour vids. Part of the reason I work out is so I can eventually free run around campus.

I'm one of the few traceurs here, or that have revealed themselfs. What do you want to know?

Your lifting yourself constantly, supporting weight with your arms, hell yes its a decent upper body workout. I think you'll hit a plateau though, since you can only lift so much of your own weight.

If you do more tricking, then you will work your arms more. Cardio gets worked a lot more, but the arms get worked when you're climbing.

its a really good stamina work out. also its amazing for your core and your legs. But mostly the core. As your constantly lifting your own wait at awkward angles your abs play a major part

Parkour works nearly every muscle in your body as much as it can, that's the point.

I used to do some, but I busted a little bone in my foot from a bad land 2 years back and it healed bad. I shouldn't be doing it, but I'll probably start up again.
