Hey /fit/

I'm 18, but my voice still cracks occasionally, and it's embarrassing to talk about something serious like lifting wieghts or talking about chicks when your voice cracks. At 18. =/

tl;dr: Voice still cracks at 18, any way tohelp it?

hot tea and honey is a good way to open up your throat and clear out mucus and shit

also push the air out with your stomach muscles when you talk, not your throat. It should feel like a light sit-up when you speak, especially if you are trying to project. Don't tighten your throat, push harder with your stomach muscles.

Vocalize in the mornings and before you go to bed. Your voice is growing into itself and doesn't have full control of the vocal cords. If you have a guitar or something play a scale and practice singing each note.

Unless you haven't hit puberty yet, I'd have to say this is one of those things that just are...

Most people don't really care about a cracky voice, just ignore it

It's because you don't talk enough. Do light vocal exercises when you wake up to loosen your laryngeal muscles.
