Dear /fit/,
I am 19 years of age and I am on Zoloft (anxiety issues). I've been taking it for two months and the side effect of "inability to orgasm" hasn't subsided. Fighting the side effect head on, I've masturbated until I forced myself to ejaculate. However, I can never achieve past a certain point, causing the penis to become flaccid before any ejaculation. Afterwards follows a exhaustion as if I finished. Am I pretty much screwed over with the Zoloft or is this something more serious?
Pic semi-related, that was my face when I tried jacking off 20 minutes ago.

btw, if you do decide to go off the meds, DO NOT quit them all at once. You need to gradually lower your intake over time. It would be best to consult your doctor.

Bullcrap that you need the meds. If you truly did, you wouldn't be posting here. Instead, you'd be stuck in a ward somewhere in the middle of bumblefuck.

I know this because I've got a hereditary "chemical inbalance" in the brain, as well. I tried 1 Paxil and then said "FUCK THIS. I CAN GET OVER THIS ANXIETY MYSELF." That was when I was 14-15. I'm 22 now and am anxiety-free 90% of the time (the remaining 10% being normal anxiety that everyone else goes through).

Don't feed (money to) the pharmceutical companies and don't let them feed you (the notion that drugs are the only way to cure this chemical imbalance).

A friend of mine was misdiagnosed with anxiety for years for complaining of erratic heart rate. Turns out he has some mild heart condition that requires some other medication that he was wrongfully denied for ages. Dunno what the disorder is, though.

Not saying that you're being misdiagnosed, but if you have "anxiety" based solely on the fact that your heart rate is being a nutsack (especially if Zoloft isn't correcting it), you might want to consider seeking a second opinion.

I second the exercise bit. That almost always works for me.

For some people, it isn't bullcrap. Learn some genetics. Not everyone can think their problems away.
