High numbers on your bench and squat is physical perfection.

Solid physique, we got about 100000 dudes who look like him at my gym... ANd 420 squat aint impressive, add 50% and you MIGHT pique serious lifters attention if he's a bodybuilder, but any powerlifter will lol@you.

Pic related: REAL thighs, this guy did 500lb squats, ATG (as low as you can with his freaky hamstring development)for 20 bloody reps.

perfection is much less than that guy. Perfection has a balance. He has too much muscles. If you want too much look at guys like Ronny Coleman. He has a perfect physique but his body is far from perfect.

I'm sure some people think OP's fella squattin in the 400's is too much, doesn't change the fact that's still on the low end of the radar.

If you're gonna do something, do it right, that's precisely what Platz did with legs.
>> Anonymous
You have to work with what you got. Tom Platz happens to be extremely gifted in the leg department, drugs or no drugs (although he most certainly does enough juice to kill a small horse).

I personally judge perfection by a person's rate of progress, and what they've done with what they have. If OP really was a 90lbs skinny runt (as an adult), and can now squat 400+ and looks the way he does? Then fucking great, more power to him. I put up decent numbers in some thing, but know I'll likely never reach some of the best numbers ever put up. But I will never cease my attempts to improve -- and THAT is the attitude of a winner.

judging success by progress? That's not a winner.
Platz didn't take enough "roids to kill a horse" you're vastly overestimating, it's normally the ametaurs (guys we don't hear about) who triple the dosages, the pros are very light, like lee priest only takes a small amount of dbol and deca 8 weeks before he starts cutting to really fill out..

Yes, Platz had good leg genetics, but fankhouser has great calf shape, but irrelevant of that, 24 inch calves always look fucking insane (pic related)

I guess it's just that to me a winner is whoever comes first, I know it seems crazy and all.

A winners attitude (progress) is what makes a winner get where they are, but doesn't mean the attitude's enough.

And OP's posting pics of some dude from a mag\site, I don't think it was him.

Not saying he's not got an alright physique, just it's dime a dozen + some quad.

Like I said, if you wanna get big, get huge.

In during Frank Zane.

OP's picture is nice, but physical perfection would have a lot less visable veins. Seeing veins everywhere is kinda gross. I'd gladly trade a aesthetically muscled but veiny guy for a less muscled unveiny guy.

This isn't physical perfection, but the body looks alot more appealing than the OP's pic. but hey.. t's all in the interpretation
