but 1 have teh hyooooooge 19 inchbicepts, cut l1ke d1am0nds, amirite?
and op, I'd like to say that even though I don't fit into any of the aforementioned categories, I could be a personal trainer if you give me a week. That doesn't mean I know wtf I'm talking about. A shit ton of retards in the doctoral profession or w/e think they know what they're talking about, when they're really just retarded. Case in point: I was told to stop taking creatine cause "all that extra protein is just rattling around in my kidneys doing who knows what kind of damage." and another one telling me to gtfo my JW. you know what pt at the gym, I don't know or care your name, FUCK YOU.
Point is, even if you're not a PT or a doctor, you MIGHT have some good advice if you're a huge nerd and just study this shit for a hobby.
That said, I'm always learning new stuff. That doesn't mean that the basic advice of "eat a lot, spread it out throughout the day, 40/40/20, lift a lot but don't overtrain, etc" is bad advice. Far from it. Basically everything i learn only reinforces that.
