for quinoa:

germinate and fry/saute > boil

yesterday I germinated about 1/2 cup of quinoa in water for like 5 hours, till it sprouted, then sauteed it in some olive oil w/ garlic and a little bit of of red pepper flake. tossed in some spinach and let that cook through.

the whole process was extremely messy, but it was fuckwin tasty. the quinoa turned into little hard, delicious, crunchy, golden-brown pellets without any of that green-pea boiled taste that I don't really like that much. plus, because it was germinated, it was like 10x healthier.

HURR DURR FOOD ISN'T AT ALL RELATED TO HEALTH AND FITNESS

What the fuck is this shit, honestly?

Interesting. I'd like to see more threads along these lines, this is some original content right hurr to keep this board alive. /fit/ isn't just for dumb jocks to shout SQUATZ and HIIT at each other in every thread. This is Health & Fitness, so more talk about general health and nutrition would be appreciated. And /ck/ is pretty much useless for health food information anyways.
