Carbs Anonymous
What the fuck, /fit/? How on earth are you supposed to cut body fat by reducing carbs from your diet?

I've felt like shit all day and had little to no energy to do anything, which sucks incredibly when I'm at work or school.

How do I go about having energy throughout the day while minimizing carbs? Or whats an alternate solution to cutting body fat?

The basic principle is, you eat little carbs, your body then has to go elsewhere for energy, namely fat.
And you will adjust.
Might I suggest sleeping longer? I know it's not the best suggestion, but it will help.

How much did you reduce them?
Try tapering down instead if its that bad.

It takes your metabolism a couple of days to adjust to the change and then you'll be fine as long as you're balancing it out with protein and the right proportion of fats.

have oatmeal in the monin
skim milk throughout the day
veggies

bam plenty of carbs but not too much

carry a bag of unsalted nutz and dried fruit. Although you still get the carbs I'd prefer getting them from those sources than bread and pasta and shit. And you can still cut effectively while able to get the energy you need from teh dried goodness.

try exercise instead of a shitty unhealthy diet

carb related question: how many carbs post-workout should I get? should it be similar to the amount of grams of protein?

Post workout I have one banana in with my protein shake.. which carries me over to the next meal. Has served me awesome for a long time.

THE BEST way to increase your energy imo:
1) get 8-9.5 hrs of sleep/night, don't nap
2) exercise daily
3) have a strong personal drive to do what you're doing, boredom->sleep

I dont get it. All this bullshit about diets and special excercise just cracks me up. I mean my dad played sports, swam almost everyday, rode his bike everyday, and basically ate fatty and unhealthy food his whole teenage years and he was a six pack owning, toned, muscular guy with almost no body fat on him.

I think its all in moving more and spending less time on 4CHAN. Simple as that.

We all forgot that your dad is the archetype for the entire human race.
