Sup, /fit/?Got a few quick questions...I have had a fast metabolism all my life until recently and I have gained weight. I've cut out my snacks, gotten healthier alternatives and started running on the treadmill every day. I've already made some progress on the gut. It's noticeably smaller now yet I'm still at 170. Should I be freaking out about this or no?Also occasionally I have to stop my running due to chafing... I don't have any different clothes I wear for it or anything and don't really want to get any right now. There any alternative to preventing it? Or maybe a way to get it out faster? And finally... What's something else I can do in addition to running that'll help me with weight loss? Killing myself, anorexia, and bulimia aren't options here. Something actually healthy. Thanks a lot!
HIIT
>>249070Looked that up. That's kinda what my treadmill does automatically with some program. I live in a rural area so would alternating from driveway to driveway be a good idea? I've heard about that before. They're a good distance apart but nothing extreme.
its not really abnormal to gain weight when starting an exercise program its probably due to muscle growthwhere are you chafing?squatz, pushups, pullups
>>249107Chafing in the groin area. Also noted. No real place for pullups around the house, though... Where'd be the best place to go for that sort of stuff?
>>249139you need to buy a jock straplocal park should have a pullup bar. You can run there and back some days instead of using the treadmill (if there are no pullup bars hang off the top of the swings or tuck you legs and use the monkey bars...if they are sturdy enough)
