sup /fit/

Have a question, if anyone is willing to answer. Are there any specific exercises that increase agility and speed, as well as any equipment needed for the exercises? I'm going to assume that running/sprinting is one.

Ladder/tire drills, you know the ones they use in football. Skipping rope is also excellent.

No idea what you're talking about.

Alright, will do. What would the benefits of skipping rope be? Higher jumps?

one of the coolest exercises i've seen requires two people: each wears a small belt with a leash. the leashes have velcro on the ends. The two athletes connect the two leashes between themselves and play a game where one leads movement actions and the other follows. If the leash comes undone, the game is over.

I forgot to vary up your rope drills, you can google search for a more complete list then I would give. Your calf muscles are important for starting movements in all directions.

I forgot to add: lateral shuffling, diagonal shuffling, carioca drills, plyometrics, and sport specific skills if you're an athlete.
