Couldn't say really... I suppose 2-40kg dumbells would be pretty sufficient. If I were you I'd find a good gym with a good selection of weights, so that you have whatever you need as you progress.
Go onto /rs/ and find Starting Strength. I'd recommend you follow the program. At the very least you should read what the author has to say about the useful applications of weight training.
Read through the whole thing and you will be fully prepared to lift properly and efficiently. You might only be able to lift an empty bar now, but within weeks you will be lifting twice as much; then twice as much again in another few months.
If you lift weights as outlined in that book, and try and eat more healthy food in larger amounts, you will put on lean muscle all over your body, which will lift and hold any and all "sag" and will raise your metabolism sufficiently to burn off excess flab. Overall you'll look and feel a million times better.
You'll also develop one hell of a round ass and some very nice legs.
