I am a skinny guy currently trying to bulk up. I want to start doing some cardio purely for health reasons but I'm worried it will have a serious effect on my gains. Would going for a run twice a week be a bad idea bearing in mind I am skinny as fuck with a super fast metabolism?

Yes it will. you need all the cals you can get so don't waste any of them on cardio.

Why not do weights instead? That will give you a good work out. Worry about cardio after you bulk.

If you are only working out 3 times a week you shouldn't run. I am in the same position as you, skinny as fuck.
3 weeks ago I was 138 lbs at 6'2. I work with some girl who does fitness competitions and has 2 trainers and a nutritionist. She was kind enough to make a routine for me and I work all the muscle groups 2 times a week. As of 4 hours ago I weigh in at 149 lbs.
I don't run at all. I really do want to start swimming but that's cardio too.
