would i be safe from burning up my hard earned muscle tomorrow morning if i woke up, drank some black coffee and immediately did HIIT? i want to burn PURE fat. no breakfast until i'm done. i'm losing only about a pound a week by being strict and healthy and it's pissing me off. i want to lose about 3lb/week. i have about 20 pounds of fat to lose.

you shouldn't lose more than between 1-2 lb of weight max per week. notice, I said weight. that means you'll never lose just fat. anything more than 1-2 lb means just muscle loss.
