Hey /fit/ I'm a 20 year old male, 215 pounds. I'm trying to lose the fat. I'm doing jogging, push ups, crunches, and general aerobics and cardio I was 228 pounds a month ago. Should I just continue what I'm doing for now to lose the fat? Or should I push it to the limit? What should I doooo? Pic related, it's me.

Keep smokin', chunker. You're not going to lose it with hard work and dedication.

Stop smoking, do more weight lifting/anaerobic exercise, and monitor your food intake, because you feel hungrier/eat more when you exercise.

What? Why?

Because he is 215lb = 2150 bmr approx. Taking in 1500 a day, exercising daily and eating bread & rice. Assuming we say he burns 300-400 a day he is in a defecit of 1000 a day approx without taking into account how much carbs he is eating, which is neglibile in the first few months. I did the same as him in my first 3-4 months, never had any problems and continued to lose weight healthily.

OP i suggest in your third month you up the protein and lower the carbs and increase your cardio intensity to keep the ball rolling.
