Sup /fit/?

I'm a skinny tall white boy but I promised myself that whenever I noticed I was starting to get a slight belly I'd get my fucking act together. Luckily, I found /fit/ a few months ago and the time was right now that I'm 27.

I won't list all the random shit I've been doing from piecemeal info I've gotten here, but one of the things I did was to give up soda 2 months ago. Nothing but water since.

Last night I was at a friend's apartment and they had nothing no water except horrible tasting tap water, so I had an A&W root beer - root beer having been by far my favorite soda back when I was a user. Let me tell you, /fit/, that can made me feel like I wanted to die. I've been officially cured of soda addiction.

That's all.

I still have the occasional soda, but never more than one a day.

I'm more of a coffee and tea guy anyway.

I did it slowly but sooner than you expect, you don't like to drink it anymore. Whenever I eat lunch on campus, I've tried getting soda with my meal but I find that the soda makes me thirstier and it tastes horrible. I then get a craving for water and go get some.

i stopped drinking soda cold turkey ... It wasn't too hard after i finally realized that delicious Game Fuel wasn't comming back.

And yes you fail for drinking caffine free A&W ..

Just my two cents...to help quit soda, I just watered down the soda a little and then a little more and eventually there was no point in drinking the stuff anymore. The only time I use soda is when I am drinking a bit, and even then I use juice. Not very /fit/ of me, but I do have the occasional drink still.

Your first carbonated drink after months away from them absolutely turns your stomach/gives you painful gas. At least in my experience.
