Hey /fit/. Serious question. So far, I'm doing a good job losing weight (fro 230 to 218, approx 1 lb per week for 12 weeks, target goal = 180lbs). I'm eating well and alternating HIIT/strength training everyday. However, I hate eating fruits, but I really love veggies. Is there any way to skip on the fruits and still lose the weight? I feel like I'm getting all the necessary nutrients (minerals/vitamins/fiber/etc) from my vegetables (I eat broccoli, carrots, peas, corn, lettuce, spinach, and onions) almost everyday and incorporate them into my meals. Comments please. I don't want to skip on the fruits, but if its absolutely necessary to eat them to lose weight, I'll eat them, if not, any suggestions for getting around them?

Wow, why would you bother taking that long to make fun of someone. I recommend Civ IV or Call of Duty 4.

Maybe everything 4 is good? I digress...

You could try throwing all of your fruits in a blender and then chugging.

How dumb are you?

I dunno... I feel like some fruits are necessary because they do make you less hungry... any suggestions fit?

You'd more weight and more stable energy levels if you cut out fruit. Assuming that's not your entire diet.

OP: Veggies alone should be enough, but fruit is really, really good for you. What fruits don't you like? I can't imagine there aren't any you might actually like.
