HALP PLOX

I was raised to finish everything on my plate, not waste food, etc. Good principles by themselves, but I've sorta carried it over into my adult life and these days I eat everything in sight.

I genuinely love food, and I'm a bit of a gourmet. It's not like I load up on cheeseburgers and milkshakes every day - the food I do eat is relatively harmless and usually somewhat healthy. I don't eat as a coping mechanism, and I don't think I have a disorder or anything. I dunno. I just see food and I eat it. I'm the guy who finishes other people's food at restaurants when they're done eating.

So, /fit/, I need any advice you have that would break me of this bad habit. I get a decent amount of exercise, so I'm only about 15 pounds overweight (I'm 6'0, 200 pounds), but I'm getting married in March and I'd like to drop at least 10 of those pounds beforehand.

tl;dr, how to I discipline myself to eat less?

You know what you are? A damn hypocrite. Gourmets enjoy good food in ultra-small bites because they like the taste. Gourmet does not mean "I LIKE EATING"

oh and you're a fatass. HEeeeey fatty boom boom, you want a creamcake?

Eat only n French nouvelle cuisine restaurant. It's damn good but the portions are ultra small and it's insanely expensive. Problem solved.
