Ok /fit/ I have a question. I am about 5' 10" and 150-155 pounds. I am not fat but not skinny either. Right now I want to become very lean and toned in the ab and arm region.

I want to build endurance and muscle but not to the point of bodybuilders. I am doing this for looks and healthiness as well. My goal is to eventually be able to jog 13 miles straight, and I hope to achieve that by mid May because there is a Triathlon that I may or may not want to try to be in. I dunno how big of a goal that is right now so ignore that part. I do not have access to a gym every day but I plan on going shopping for some exercise materials soon.

So what do you guys suggest for the best and quickest results?

Look, you won't get XBOX HUEG if you just life weights. It takes a lot of work to gain significant amounts of muscle. Besides, if you are going to run 13 miles straight, you probably will have more of a distance runner's body. How long can you run without stopping? Just run that much a week and walk an extra mile. Keep tacking on miles a week and your endurance will go up.

Lifting will tone your body, but if the Triatholon is important, you may want to work on your running. If not, I would bulk then cut.
