Today when I started my cardio routine, I experienced a mild in intensity, but sharp pain in my knee. Since it persisted, I halted my cardio routine. It is more of a dull ache now, but is there anything I can do to make up for this lapse in my normal Monday workout schedule?

The pain felt like it was located under my kneecap towards the outside of my left leg.

Joint pain should be checked out by a professional.

joint pain is normal if ur not active. aka if u havn't ran in months or years. run once a week untill ur body get used to the impact again.

u can try shadow boxing, after a few mins it adds up.

I gave precisely this description to my doc. They corrected it. She told me pain at the site can be translated from a tight muscle connected to that area, or somehow somewhere pulling too much. I couldn't really feel it was "tight" myself, but when the chiropractor pressed there deep, THEN I could feel it. It was massaged out, the pain went away.
