Wheezing after running Anonymous
Yo.

So I've recently started a running regiment. I've been making good progress and I enjoy it. But about 30-60 minutes after I stop, I'll get these intermittent bouts of wheezing and coughing that last for the rest of the day. I figure that it's just my body getting used to the exercise, but feeling (mildly) winded five hours after a run makes me kind of concerned.

Is this a normal part of getting in shape or should I see a doctor?

Is the air dry while you run?
Whenever the air is dry, I wheeze.

should last for a few weeks.

are you fat?

BREATHE

but no seriously, breathe. In through the nose and out through the mouth will deliver oxygen to your muscles as efficiently as possible.

If it doesn't go away I'd mention it to a doctor. This might be obvious but you don't have any history of asthma do you?

Well no I'm not fat.

I should note that the coughing problems only come in until about 45 minutes after I stop moving.

I'm pretty sure it's just a part of the process, thanks for your replies.
