Dear /fit/

I do drugs. I smoke cigarettes. I drink alcohol in excess. I eat bacon and hamburgers.

I've lost a lot of weight, and I'm almost what I want to LOOK like. My muscle growth has been amazing. I feel so much better.

But. When I start cardio, my lungs start burning, and I push on. And the pain gets worse and worse, and my vision gets weird. Weird and then dark. I've fainted from exercise when I was younger, so I'm a bit of a pansy when it comes to jogging blind.

Help. Is this smoking? Asthma? Is there a cure?

OP, yeah, I should've added this.
I was fainting from running way before I started smoking and doing psychotropics. I smoke less than a pack a week. Most of my drug use is opiates, orally administered.

My diet is not obscene. And I'm 6'2" and 190lbs.

yes idiot its the smoking that makes your lungs burn. because they dont work like they used to your body doesnt get the oxygen it needs fast enough, hence the blacking out etc. stop smoking, stop doing any drugs, definitely dont drink, and all will be better in due time. seriously though? smoking + running = no. as in charles no. thats right, no.

Austin!?

I know several people who were good at running that still smoke. It may feel like asthma, but it's actually your lungs getting used to shit. Smoking a bowl doesn't build your lung strength, regardless of what you may think. The trick is to stick with it, and try to do things that will help build your lungs strength. Do things like wind sprints, something where you can get a little bit of a cool down but still be progressing. When you jog, you should level out your breathing very shortly, not panting heavily.
