Pull-ups if you can. However, if you have no weights, or money for a gym membership, odds are you don't have a good way to do pull-ups either (or chin ups)
so here's what you do: Make you own weights. You drink milk right? or know people who do... get 4 clean and empty 1 gallon milk jugs: fill 2 of them half full of water, and the other 2 completely fully. Hot glue the caps on. Now you have 2 sets of dumbells, one half the weight of the other. With these you can do a fair amount of exercises which require dumbells. If these become too light for you, fill the first set half full of sand, then teh rest with water, fill the other ones entirely with sand, then add water (to fill the tiny spaces between grains of sand).
there is no such things as gettign toned: Toned is a term that reads "if you use light weights you'll put on a little bit of muscle". Even if you wanted this to happen, it doesn't work. You need to constantly challenge your muscles so that they grow, and light weights don't do that. Never say toned again. Say "add to my physique". It's more accurate, and just sounds better. (YAY FANCY WORDS!!!)
