Staring Strength or Stronglifts 5x5?
Been doing 5x5 for awhile now and finding the work is way too much. I currently can currently squat 100kg, deadlift 130kg and bench 70kg for 5 reps and by the 4th and 5th sets I'm pretty much fucked.
Thinking of switching to SS. Any experiences with these two programs? Opinions?

You're supposed to be destroyed. You keep doing the same weight until you can complete those last two sets as well.
Don't tell me you thought this was going to be easy?

Drop 2 kg of weight and ad 30 extra seconds rest between sets.

How much rest exactly do you need? I'd do my 5 reps and I'm gone for at least 5 minutes.
And I never thought it'd be easy I just saw that the work in SS was lest and people still get results from that don't they?

Do this. It's not as much about reaching failure as tensing your muscles.

Switch to SS and see if it helps. It's probably better anyway. Although both are good.

Do frequency with sub maximal weight most of the time.

Ex: During the week I have 15 Bench sets. Only two of those are failure sets.

My muscles practices the movement and get stimulated 15x5 times a week. They only fail twice a week or 10 reps.

I've been gaining 5lbs a week doing this method (Bill Starr 5x5) on my bench. Squat and Deadlift are going up by 10lbs a week.

switch to starting strength
your problem is exactly why it has 3 sets and not 5 sets as in stronglifts 5x5 - you want to get as high as possible with linear workout to workout progress
also, resting more and eating more would probably help

with each set your body build up lactate, which makes you weak.
Rest as long as it takes to get to full power again.
You don't want to wade through lactate, you want to lift heavy.
