I had a topic about it last night, I'm wearing wrist and ankle weights right now in class.

Half of people said they were good for burning calories, the other half said I'd have joint pain and wouldn't build any muscle.

Wrist/ankle weights are useful if you use them to supplement a regular exercise routine.

They're best if you remember to use them when doing controlled type exercises.

Don't throw them on if you're going running or playing tennis (or whatever high motion activity you choose, just using tennis because you swing your arms). Your limbs aren't used to the extra weight and the momentum they can create can lead to injury from overflex or muscle strain.
