Hey /fit/. Got a couple questions I need help with.

1. When I'm doing really heavy weight, or something that is particularly painful or difficult for me, such as squats, overhead dumbell presses, or flat bench, I get REALLY vivid and random memories, straight out of fucking nowhere. I mean, shit that I had no fucking clue I remembered, clear as crystal, bam right there in my minds eye. Does this happen to anyone else, and what is this caused by? It bugs the shit out of me and I'd like to know if there is a way to make it stop.

2. I try to eat a little something about 2 hours before I lift, maybe some broccoli or oatmeal or a banana. If I don't I feel weak and famished when I'm lifting. But when I do eat, by the time I finish lifting and take protien, I feel sick as fuck amd I don't want to eat anything, even when I know I should. Again; does this happen to anyone else and what are some solutions/explanations?

Thanks guys. Pic mostly unrelated. I don't demand, simply inquire.

1. That's your body anticipating death and your life flashing before your eyes.

1. no clue what you got going on there.
2. i take a scoop of fast digesting protein (whey) 30 minutes before working out. you can also add a simple carb (medium apple or other fruit) too.

post work out, i have 50 g protein (can be a mix of fast and slow).

oatmeal may be too complex and slow digesting. that may be some of the discomfort you're feeling. no idea why broccoli or a banana would make you sick. try something else maybe?

1. It's common. I'm too lazy to explain, but if I did you'd go, "Ohhhhh okay."
