It's not bad...and like everyone says, eat right, do HIIT, and throw in some sit-ups, push ups, and squats.

You look fine. Put on a bikini and try and enjoy yourself. Once you start working out, you'll feel 10x more confident even if the gains are minimal.

to be at my best , from my shape , how many pounds should I loose?
>> Anonymous
well a better pic would help more but you look fine. nothing to worry about from what i see. just continue eating right and exercising.

You're just a typical girl who thinks she has to look like the anorexic chicks on tv.
You're fine, go to the beach and enjoy your life.
Eat healthy, do a little jogging or biking for cardio if you're worried about it.

You should try to determine what your body fat percentage is; this is the most useful metric for determining what approach you should take. Also, women tend to retain water more, so avoid taking in a ton of salt, and drink plenty of water, although it may seem counterintuitive.

You can also do abdominal exercises to tone the muscle underneath, but it won't make a huge difference if there are fat deposits there; you can't spot reduce fat.

Also make it a point to avoid extended stretching of the abdominal muscles; they are very long muscles and don't typically need to be stretched. You can take advantage of muscle shortening by doing abdominal exercises and then clenching your stomach as often as you can; this will cause them to heal in a cramped position, which is actually a good thing.

Also, tits plox.

One more thing; you can help enforce the habit of sucking in your gut by clenching about halfway and tying a string around your waist. If you release your muscles, it won't be uncomfortable but you'll notice that you've let go, so you can start holding it in again.

sucking in is a bad way of putting it,
tightening your muscles like when you flex your biceps is a better phrasing i think

True; I should avoid colloquialisms on the world wide interbutts.

well a lot of people just suck their stomach in like their breathing when they're out and you can so easily tell they're just sucking air in, which a lot different than flexing that muscle

Well, if you were anyone I knew, even a gf, I would say that you look great, but if you want to lose a few pounds, that's cool, too, although it seems as though you really don't need it.

HIIT is your best bet. High intensity interval training. Google it and do some research.

Also, what this man said.>>128814

Just eat clean and shit. If you can, do squats regularly. Squats help your overall body by working the most muscles.

I'd say if you lost like... 10 pounds, that belly will go away and it's quite easy to lose the 10 pounds. Just run!

OP - If your perception is that guys wont find you attractive because of your "belly", think again. Myself, like the majority of decent guys dont find anorexic size 4 girls attractive. You look great as it is.

If it is for your own personal achievements and desire for perfection, by all means follow the advice here. My advice is drop your intake of calories by 500 under your BMI, use a calculator on google. Because there isnt that much fat, its mostly about toning. Dropping a small amount of calories and getting 20-30 mins cardio, and toning exercises i.e. sit-up's, squats etc.. a day will give you a more toned figure if thats what you are after.

Good luck.

Eat less food, drink less soda, beer, etc., and do more exercise if you want to lose whatever lil belly you think you have.

Ok, for everyone saying your weight is fine, they're generally right. But they're not taking into consideration that anybody of any height/weight can be fat. You need to maintain your weight while making a transition of losing fat and gaining a little bit of muscle.

And this is easy. Just jog and eat more vegetables/wholesome carbs. If you want to know what worked for me (female as well, although taller and heavier than you), all I did was start basing my diet around seafood like shrimp and fish and green vegetables. It's long been known as the Okinawan Diet and it just focuses on lean seafood and vegetables high in follic acid and vitamin A. This is staple food for people of the Ryukyu Islands south of Japan and they are proven to have the longest average lifespans of any people in the world as well as extremely low obesity rates. They generally don't even a lot of rice or noodles in Okinawa, because they had trouble making those historically because they were stuck on islands that could only grow certain vegetables and had to rely on fishing for their meats.

As for your rollerblading, I've heard often that things like that are not ideal ways to burn fat. Most in-shape people have told me that jogging is the most effective form of cardio because it works the most muscles at once and is easy to maintain for long periods of time.

OP, you're not really very fat at all. You could get by just fine as you are.

I'd recommend some cardio and high-rep low-weight work just to tone up a bit. Cardio will help you most with burning fat.

The most important thing is largely to neglect your weight, because chances are, you could look incredible without loosing any weight. Focus more on how you body looks than your weight.

do cardio (45+ minute sessions) if you want to shed some fat..

but honestly you shouldn't stress or worry about your figure for a second, you look good (from the pics posted so far)

Femanon here. I have the same "problem", I don't think you have anything to worry about. If you insist...

You could try core training. ^

I have yet to stick with the program because of exams and laziness.

Cardio is good too. I find it more enjoyable to do long distance jogging rather than HITT or crunches.
