Hey /fit/, how the fuck do I get rid of these calluses on my fingers?

I barely ever touch them, except for maybe scratching/rubbing them. But would I be able to just kind of grind them off with hot water and a pumice stone or some shit? No, I don't wear rings either.

What the FUCK is that shit from?

It's from 4th grade when I coloured on my hand with a pen, yea I know, really smart.

I went to a dermatologist about 8 months ago and I was told it was a callus and that I could either take some cortisone injections directly into them to MAYBE soften them up, or wait it out.

I would rather not get steroid injections, and I'm tired of waiting. I've had calluses on my feet and just grinded them off with hot water/pumice stone, do you think it would work for these?

You've had these for 8 months?
HOLY MOTHERFUCKING MOTHER OF GOD!

Get a nail file and grind it down, then soak in extremely fucking hot water for 10 or so minutes and just grind them off.

Repeat until satisfied.

Dr. Scholls corn removers. The acidity will eat away the top layer and allow the soften skin to surface.

HOLY SHIT DON'T.

I have callouses from doing cleaning shifts at nighttime. They will never go away if you try to touch them or grind them down in any way.

Get yourself a good hand cream and rub that shit into your hands for a couple months.

Yeh, you could try to remove them, but I strongly advise not too.

I had pretty brutal calluses on the palm of my hands from weight lifting. I started wearing gloves and they went away, but they are still there because i tried to remove them with a pin. good fun.

i've cut mine off with a knife several times, they come right off and have never come back unless i do things to put them back. the callused skin comes off and the skin under it stays just fine if only a little tender till it heals up

maybe my hands are just fail. I got rid of most of it with the pin / knife, but when it healed I still have calluses, just no way near as bad as before.

Its brutal trying to get palm wounds to heal, specially when you work out every day, play rugby and have to work every other day.

Why remove them? I'm proud of my weightlifting calluses, they do their job just fine.

Every time I used to work out they would swell and fill with fluid, pretty painful to workout with. Easier to just remove them with a pin or wear gloves.

Calluses are natural, built by your body to reinforce skin that is under constant abrasion and such. I've got them on my palms from weight lifting and on my left fingers from guitar. Just keep em, shows you use your hands a lot. That, or bit them off after a shower, that works too.

No they weren't. The next day the swelling would disappear and as would the fluid and the toughened callus would still be there.

wait, you got those calluses from drawing on your hand with a MARKER?

I want soft hands for fapping and (hopefully sex after I do more CURLZ for da GURLZ). I'll wear gloves, sandpaper hands are not cool.
