Hey /fit/.

I'm a fat fuck right now. I'm 5'8" and currently 277.5 pounds, down from 321.4 a year ago.

I've been "half assing" it more than anything lately, and I'd like to get more serious about this. After all, I ain't getting any younger.

I've dropped all soda from my menu - even diet. I've limited fast food to 1-2 meals on weekends. (However, I'm dropping all fast food from my menus effective now.)

Twice weekly hour-long bike rides. Not nearly enough, but way the hell more than I used to do.

I want to visit good fat loss sites on the innertubes, and I see T-nation and the like thrown around quite a bit - but I do NOT want to end up looking like the guy in this picture.

Where can I learn how to just get rid of the damned fat? Anybody got any good sites to visit?

Do NOT do any weightlifting, you'll end up like that guy. Seriously.

Did you really feel you were in any danger of that, you fat fuck?

Eat 500 calories under your maintenance level. If you don't know what you're maintenance level is then figure it out. For the average person it's around 2000 calories. Since you seem like you've got your diet under control I won't go into any detail with that, just make sure you're getting enough protein so you don't lose whatever muscle you do have.

Also, to get rid of fat you must do CARDIO. But incorporate weightlifting into your routine or you won't have much shape when you do get to your ideal weight.

Sidenote: Depending on the elasticity of your skin you may need to have surgery anyways to get rid of the excess. I was at 280 3 years ago and I'm 170 now, and I have a good bit of extra skin on my lower abdomen area. I'm waiting until I get low enough body fat (I'm at 14 percent now)... if it still bothers me then I'll probably get a tummy tuck or something. Nothing worse than having to wear pants two sizes larger than needed. Falls off my fucking ass, and if I tighten it with a belt I've got overhang... sucks.. whatever.

But it's probably more for you, OP. Figure it out.

Yeah, I read that maintenance is weightx10 - if that's the case my maintenance is 2775 calories? So to lose I could drop down to 2000?

ye OP prolly needs a 1000 extra cause of his hard breathing, being such a fatty

you'll never be able to look like the guy in the picture even if you want to

I'm getting tired of fat fucks who say "oh I don't wanna touch a weight because I don't wanna instantly be transformed into some jacked ripped dude!" SHUT THE FUCK UP! You're never gonna look like that even if you DID want to because you have no drive or discipline thats how you got to be the fat piece of shit you are!

I don't know how accurate that is. I'm at 170 and I need about 2000 to maintain (according to this $120 Tanita Ironman scale I got from Academy that I found for $50 on clearance)

Jesus christ OP you're retarded.

>but I do NOT want to end up looking like the guy in this picture.

Get the fuck out, now.

>but I do NOT want to end up looking like the guy in this picture

Then don't lift weights, ever. All that fat will magically be transformed into muscle if you do.

okay

ugh, i hate threads like this OP basically insults people who lifts weights through ignorance.
>>161972
this isn't true, you dont need cardio to burn fat. i ONLY lift weights and i have been steadily losing bodyfat, and gaining muscle at the same time. i feel that just doing cardio would seriously slow my gains

Jesus Christ. It seems that every idiot who doesn't excercise thinks they will turn out like this from lifting weights. It takes fucking years of close dieting, training and the willpower most of us don't have.

OP is an idiot. Go to the gym fatty.

Don't listen to these faggots OP. I did some weight lifting once, some intense high rep low weight and I accidentally had some protein afterwards. Next morning I looked like OP picture. Don't lift weights unless you want to gain 50 pounds of muscle overnight.

lol @ you guys
i was born looking like that, i had a 6 pack when i was 2 years old

Yeah, you're right. But I doubt the OP has the endurance to do any kind of quick succession lifting with small breaks in between each set. Which is basically cardio with added resistance training because you're keeping your heart rate up.

I'd suggest quick walking, elliptical, or biking OP. Dunno what you're doing now. But you need to add in some strength training too on separate days (don't overtrain if you're just starting out). Not only will the added muscle boost up your metabolism.... umm, it's not quite as satisfying losing all that weight if you still look like a fatass when you're skinny. (aka skinnyfat)

Thanks for the advice.

I didn't think I'd look like that overnight, folks. I just want to be able to say enough is enough once I get to a certain point.
