Okay, I've been hearing that six-pack abs don't come from crunches only, as in doing them won't get you to the six-pack abs alone. This might explain why I can't get six-pack abs, considering I've got a very small percentage of body fat and I do a couple hundred crunches a day.

What's the big secret then? Pic unrelated.

also you can't see your abs if they are small
also they don't come out if you body fat is over 10%

I can't see how cardio effects the abs anymore than, say, respiratory training and such... it doesn't even seem as relevant.

I know its a meme, but you should do squats. Or at least an exercise that really taxes your core. And by tax, I don't mean the "oh wow i can feel da burn!!" after over 9000 situps, more like the stress of holding 2x your bodyweight on your back and squatting 5x5. Even if you don't eat enough to put on loads of muscle you will define the muscles you have as you get stronger.
