On the same sort of note as OP, does HIIT work with biking? I only hear it talked about for running. I went biking for 15 miles with my mom and aunt yesterday (we didn't go further because they were still tired from their marathon the day before... my mom and aunt are more badass than me... sad day). Anyway I was biking in bursts of speed most of the time. Really fast until my legs were shaky then I'd circle back and peddle slowly while waiting for them to catch up as I got a drink. Is this any more effective than peddling at a flat rate the entire ride?
