I just turned make a large pepperoni pizza for myself.

I preheated the oven.

I opened the box.

Then I said "FUCK IT AND FUCK YOU ALL" and turned off the oven, put the box back in the freezer.

I took out three cans of fucking tuna, cracked them open and put them in a big bowl. I took out one whole giant cucumber and sliced it up. I put it in the bowl but the bowl was too small so I grabbed another one. I mixed it all up. I put in 3 lemons worth of lemon juice. I sprinkled it with salt and lots of pepper. Then I drizzled it with a tablespoon of olive oil. Mixed it up good.

I hate myself. I hate my life. I'm too fucking fat. I'm so fucking angry at myself while shoving this tuna and cucumber down my gullet.

I fucking hate everything. But I didn't eat that fucking pizza. It's like a fucking cocaine fiend turning down a free line.

Keep a decent sleeping schedule so that you eat breakfast when the Sun has just risen. Not feeling lazy at the start of every day does wonders.

Keep a good diet, one that tastes good, not that you have to force yourself to swallow. I hate oats, and I won't eat them no matter how much /fit/ praises them. Eat eggs, vegetables, fruits, chicken, turkey, salmon. Follow the meal plan from http://iwantsixpackabs.com. You're going to feel hungry, because your body is used to overeating, but as long as you're nourishing yourself every three or four hours, your body won't actually be hungry.

Find a distraction when you want to indulge. Masturbate, play video games, read a webcomic from the beginning to present. There's no switch to turn the hunger off, you just need to keep it at bay until it passes and you find yourself involved in something else.

After eating healthy for a week or two, you'll feel better mentally and physically enough to start exercising. At bare minimum, grab an MP3 player and walk for an hour. It'll be weird at first, but make it be part of your schedule. Don't worry about not doing enough if you're not feeling the burn. It's a slow process for the body to get used to activity after being overweight and sedentary.

After that, find a work-out program that appeals to you. Google beginners HIIT or StrongLifts 5x5. Go the gym no matter what, keep up your martial arts.

Find excuses to go outside. If you were going to order something, for example a video game, from the Internet, go out and buy it in person instead. It is NOT hogwash when I say that being outside, in public, in the Sun, will keep your mind off of overeating and help you maintain your focus. Go food shopping for yourself twice a week. As I already said, WALK.

It can't happen on its own, though. It never will. If you want to get a truly muscular and fit body, it's going to take a change in your life's dynamic greater than anything you've ever experienced.

I only got one thing to add. In regards to find a workout program, if you're intimidated by free weights and this fear is preventing you from working out, then by all means use the weight machines. You can also proceed to free weights after you've become more comfortable and accustomed to working out. Hopefully, you'll eventually make friends with some meatheads that will give your some tutoring on free weight exercise technique.

Hey OP.

I was getting hefty. Working tons, school tons, me tons. Here is what I did almost a year ago to the day.

I just started eating oatmeal every fucking day for breakfast. The biggest bowl I could fucking handle without puking. Raisins, nuts, cereal, brown sugar, etc. and a couple of fried eggs.Then, lots of water throughout the day. I completely cut all bread, milk and crackers, noodles.. Essentially, all simple carbs. I lost almost 35 lbs in a year.

About 3 months ago, I started doing IF (intermittent fasting). I lost another 10 lb, and now I just IF. It rocks. You eat NOTHING until your one meal. And what a fucking meal it is. My typical daily feast is like this, I shit you not.

2 full chicken breasts, skin on, bone in,
A large bowl of vegetable stew with squash, onions cabbage whatever is cheap.
2 cups of rice with currants,herbs and saffron
1 big bowl of salad
2 pieces of whole wheat bread and butter.

After that meal, I just lay down on the couch and digest for about 30 minutes...I fucking lost 10 lb doing it so far.

It takes about a week to get used to fasting like that, but when you know you are going to break it, and break it big, it is no problem. Look up "The warriors diet" it pretty well explains it all.

I am reasonably active throughout the day, and do push ups and chins is all. No gym, no heavy workout routine. My arms are all veiny and crazy like when I used to lift heavy. This rocks.

I find a big cup (6 dl) of tea goes a long way for me and contains no energy whatsoever.

About a year after moving out, before I had any interest in my physical health or fitness, I could easily go 3 days without eating and not even notice. I wasn't consciously fasting, I was just too lazy to buy and cook anything. Sure I was weak as shit then but I got quite thin without even trying. If you don't buy food you don't have to go through the hassle of deciding not to eat it yet.

NOT THAT THIS IS HEALTHY EITHER but it should beat being obese. To me it seems that obsessing about your diet might be counter-productive as you will constantly be thinking about FOOD, which makes you hungry - now that I think of it, the fact that I didn't expose myself to food advertising (I never watched TV) must have played a role as well.
