Sup /fit/,

I used to be really really flexible last year.

Now im feeling a bit more stiff (and not just b/c of this picture!).

Does anyone have a strategy for getting super flexible again? also, is there a timeline, like a one month system?

Thanks!

Not op, but i do have a qeustion.

whenever i do the butterfly stretch, my left leg goes all the way to the floor, but my right seems to stay up a bit more.

Is my right leg jsut 'less' flexible than my left or is there something wrong with my joint?

Also, how long did it take for most of you to get your splits?

I guess it's possible to have a flexibility imbalance, it's not uncommon to have a strength imbalance.

As for getting flexible, you just have to stretch, there's no way around it. There isn't really a normal amount of time to get flexible, but you can do it pretty damn fast.

I started stretching twice a day for submission grappling, I would hold each stretch for thirty seconds, relax, and repeat three times; so basically 3 sets of 30 seconds, and I reached all of my goals within six weeks; foot behind head, completed butterfly stretch, and lotus.

Attempt to suck your cock, until it happens.

This actually might work.

OP do not try to get flexible by sucking your dick... You WILL fuck up your spine. Get involved in a local yoga school.

Doesn't someone have a book/video or something. I'm interested in stretching in the morning and before I go to bed to improve flexibility as well.

the reason you have to keep bumping this is because nobody either gives a shit, or cant come up with a legit answer, fuck.

The only reason anyone would want to be that flexible is to suck your own cock. And people can only be born with that gift. If you couldn't do it when you were 14 you definitely can't do it now. Enjoy your meaningless life.

Only about 2 weeks or less. I'm still working on my middle splits. It's been about 2.5 months since I've started on those. I've been closer some days than others.

Just stretch 2x a day OP. Do ANY stretch you can find. Google is your friend. I can stretch up to 40 minutes if I really feel like it.

And Yoga and pilates are both good.
