Sup /fit.

I've been an avid runner since about the beginning of this last winter, so far HIIT is my primary focus and things have been going well - went from 250 to 150 pounds so far.

One problem however, whenever I run during the summer/hotter days I end up with massive stomach cramps half-way through. I've been able to complete the runs but I find the pain somewhat disconcerting, any ideas?

I believe stomach cramps are caused by lack of water, try drinking 2/3 glasses of water half hour before running.

Also, running late arvo/morning before the sun truly hits you may help.

Alrighty, thanks for a swift reply anon

damn, 100 pounds! what kinda diet have you been on?

Stepped on the scale, finally decided I fucking hated being fat, and basically cut from around 2500+ calories down to 1000 a day or less.

Also hired a personal trainer who happened to be a recently returned marine who ran me through a gauntlet of cardio every other day.

Also, grats on the mass weight loss.

Do you have any loose skin?

Yeah I was just thinking that, but I guess its either unhealthily fat or unhealthily becoming thin.

Is it a good idea to be on less than 1500 a day? Even that isn't safe if your not paying close attention to your nutrition.
>> Anonymous
well you can hardly argue with 100 pounds of weightloss.

Actually just got back from said run with cramps so I'm about to hit the sack after a shower, also my camera's computer link cable is something I'm still looking for as I wanted to contribute to earlier Before and After picture threads, mayhaps tomorrow however.

Also, a no on the loose skin, I was afraid of that happening due to what I heard from other massive weight loss cases but I guess I got lucky.

Yeah, I kind of went overboard for quite some time but every moment not being fat is worth it as far as I'm concerned, also builds mental discipline required to build muscle after the initial fat loss.

Finally, the diet was mostly vegetables/fruits and perhaps meat for dinner, was 8% body fat last time I was checked at the gym via calipers.

Done with the shower /fit/, just checked my computer and I have some older pictures of around the 170-180 point if anyones interested. Also have some old fat pics to match it up too.

Alright, this is one of my couple month old pics, ignore the odd shiny streaks - my camera work is shit. Also you can see the stretch marks in this one, somewhat painful to look at.

Front angle, ignore my acne, I'm working on that.

Finally from the other side, also - can anyone inform me as to why I see these damned white streaks when taking a picture up close as such? I've been unable to figure it out for quite some time.

Dried up water on the mirror reflecting light at a different angle. Wash the mirror.

I appreciate the shaven chest, sexy.

Another question /fit/, I've been working off the last traces of fat as you can see on the stomach in these pictures, so far it's been more than a few weeks without any noticeable improvements - suggestions? The love handles are already gone by the way.

Keep at it, but try to do more lifting, especially ab exercises. Once that pumps up, the fat's gonna have a tighter squeeze to keep around it all, so there'll be more definition.

Your doing HIIT already yeah?
>> Anonymous
>>122154

Yeah HIIT either daily or every other day depending on how hard it beats up my legs.

>>122153

Alright, thanks. Additionally, what's the best time of day for such exercises? After waking up/before bed or what?

Depends on what you're trying to do. For pure muscle gains, I guess it's ideal to do before you sleep.

But it's also great to do first thing in the morning, because it'll boost your metabolism up early on in the day, marginally carrying over throughout the day so you get more weight loss. Plus you'll stay visually pumped for a while and during the day when you can see yourself / other people see you.

if you can do it that often, your doing it wrong. whats your HIIT set up? what exactly do you do?

Guess that answers the last of my newbie questions then, thanks, I'll come back and post pictures when/if I get rid of the last remnants and find my cameras USB cable.

Since this thread has served it's main purpose, anyone else have some pictures to post? In return, a totally unrelated picture of me washing a cat I recently found.

I do 1 minute sprinting and running as fast as possible/1 minute jogging for 20 minutes total 10/10 each.
>> Anonymous
>>122166
try swapping that for 20/10X8

OR add 20 mins jogging AFTER your already used HIIT setup.

Sounds incredibly painful, I'll implement it tomorrow, thanks.
