Hey, does /fit/ know a way to avoid pinching nerves in the lower back?
>> Anonymous
keep your back flexed when squatting, dont let it curve like your crunching
>> Anonymous
Yeah. Squats are a lot harder mentally and physically, but you should definitely be putting up bigger numbers in your squat, so you're just not squatting enough.
And when you squat, squat deep. Ass to grass. Squat for reps. Add weight to your squat every time.

awesome, 25 (5x5) a day sound right?

Knees out, Valsava, chest up, hip drive. Proper technique should keep your nerves from getting pinched

Do a 3x5 instead.

More volume > more reps.

Depends on what they're lifting in a 5x5 compared to a 3x5, so volume is iffy. But 3x5's are more intense, always.

well, when I curve my back in (flex?) it pinches and canes - although it's easier to lift like that, but when I curve it out (bad?) it is harder to lift, but does not hurt....
I just did some extensive trials on the two
is this right....?

hello....?
stronglifts tells how to stop me from rounding my back out, but it says nothing about it curving too far IN...
