Ok, so just recently I moved down to Laredo where, during the summer (and even now), the heat is absolutely unbearable. I'm not at all used to this extreme level of heat (averaging at 102 degrees), and every time I go out for any period of time, I get this terrible headaches. When I get home, I try laying down to relax, take Tylenol, close my eyes, but no matter what, the headaches don't go away until after I sleep them off.Am I not taking enough vitamins, is there a specific vitamin I should be taking to not get heat headaches? Are there other pills I should be taking?
Erm, drink moar fluids?
bumping.
I used to live in West Texas and it's damn hot too. Sounds dumb to say it, but you'll get used to it.1. drink plenty2. wear shorts
You need to drink A LOT more water. Headaches mean that you're very dehydrated. Keep a water bottle with you whenever possible, especially during the summer.- a fellow texan
You are suffering from heat exhaustion. Wear a hat if in the sun, drink lots of fluids, stay away from diuretic drinks (soft drinks, coffee, anything w/caffeine), don't smoke.
Take some advice from a trained health professional: you're missing a key vitamin.Vitamin Envirocide.
