I'm a bit dissapointed by the rudeness on this board.

It's not cool to rage after people, it hurts you and the other person.
Please, for a better /fit/, join this program. Everytime you are being mean or loosing patience, you have to come confess in this thread or deposit a 5cent in the confession jar.

this is some faggotry, but you douchebags really ought to help out the people that come here looking for help. I'm sure this board has helped you at some point in time, you should return the favor.

The people who are always screaming and going off about fatties and people who say it's ok to have cheat meals are usually people who just troll this board and don't even give two shits about being fit.

I'd bet a paycheck that at least 70% of the people who go "DO SQUATZ AND HIIT" have never done these things in their lives. The real people on this forum are people like Petbot who post an average, slightly chubby body and ask for advice, almost nobody here is ripped. It's basically a collection of people who are out of shape or really fat who think they are qualified to give advice to other fat people, yet neither of them are actually working out.

Some people are actually in shape and want to share their experience to those who aren't. I know there's at least one because I'm posting (huge self call I know).

As I posted in another thread yesterday, I'm 17% bodyfat at the end of a bulk, so no, I'm not about to wow you with a skinny waist right now, but I have ten years of lifting and sports experience. I've been hurt any number of ways: I've had tendonitis in the knee and elbow; I've tweaked my back; once I didn't lower the weight slowly enough during a shrug (let gravity do the work like a dumbass) and couldn't move my arm for hours afterward from a nerve impingement. I've dieted low fat, or low carb, or high protein at various times. I've seen exercise fads come and go since long before this shiny new Crossfit. I was on the Garage Gym forum run by Jay Trigg back in the early days of the internet circa 1996 when HIT was god and Dr Ken Leistner would hold court to his worshippers on that forum... Superslow, Odd-object lifting, Westside, Strongman drills like flipping tires and dragging sleds...

I have tons of fucking advice, mostly how not to fucking do things as I once did. I know you have shitty self-esteem surrounding the fact that you are a basement-dweller, but we aren't all like you, and many of us have tons of practical knowledge and old aches and pains reminding us what not to do. Will we reach the people posing stupid questions before the trolls feast on them? Maybe or maybe not. Will we even be arsed to form a respond to half the questions? Probably not. But we're here.

And, finally, 8/10.

fuck that. seriously.

getting fit requires dedication, effort and drive to improve yourself. if you come into fit without doing the slightest amount of preparation, the simplest google search for diet information, or exercising without equipment (fuck i hate that question) then you will fail in any advice you get from fit, whether it's diet, workout plans , technique or any other possible issue because you can't do a goddamn thing for yourself.

those kind of faggots deserve all the shit they get because they waste everyone else's time. "help me not be fat /fit/!"

they have no goals ("i want to gain 10 kg", "i want to increase my endurance for cross country"). they have no desire. they don't know why they want to work out, they just come in here and take a big steaming shit on a board that already plenty of steaming piles to discuss. all i read is "hiit!", "frank yang!" and "olympic lifts!". these people i pretty much ignore. or ridicule.

however, if people come into discuss basic points but have done at least a small amount of research (or actually done a workout routine for more than 3 days before deciding it doesn't work) then, i'm more than glad to discuss.

but there's a world of difference between the two, and unfortunately, more morons then people with "legitimate" questions.
