Need some great pump up music. I like rock/punk. I like the song harder, better, faster, stronger, but tehre isnt enough energy in it, its to light. So what are some good songs to listen to that gives you engery/strength.

I don't mean to derail your thread, but I tend to listen to pretty slow and meditative music regardless of the intensity of the workout. Not sure why this is.

When I do want something energetic though, I tend to go for anything with aggressive percussion.

Speaking of which, I recommend "Against the Grain" by Bad Religion.

My workout playlist is almost entirely Iron Maiden, Symphony X, and Judas Priest.

A few years ago, it was mostly Bar Religion, Rise Against, and Avenged Sevenfold.

I always like to throw in stuff from TV shows/movies I like so it gives me some positive associations during my workout. "Building the Deathcoaster" from Army of Darkness is my version of the Rocky training music.
