Squat day today. After my warmup, I flipped off my shoes before my first working set and squatted in socks. I can't believe the difference. I felt more grounded, stable, and powerful than I ever have. I easily pushed up my five-rep set, with power to spare. Can't believe I didn't start doing this sooner.
This anon wears padded running shoes....perhaps he should consider this option.
