Hi, im training for a fight in 3 weeks for a girl I love. I have been training really hard for 2 days, including punching bag and weights.
I read something about the 20 rep squats where you do really heavy weight with high rep. I heard it makes you stronger and is really effective. Im planning to do it tomorrow. Any advices?

yea, dont fight for a girl. if she actually wanted to be with u then why would she want u to fight some other dude? anyway, squats are hard and you will not master them in 3 weeks. especially if u are trying to go heavy. best thing to do is practice speed and endurance so atleast ull be able to last with the other dude.

Conditioning is the king of fighters. You don't squat regularly im assuming and the 20 rep squat style isn't something you want to do if you have shit to get done. It will fry your ass and isn't something to start with IMO. You'd be better of doing box jumps and sled dragging or something (or normal squats or something).

Street fights normally boil down to more experience than anything. I've seen some black-belts freeze up when they take a hard knock. It can be quite unsettling if you have never been full-on hit before.

That being said, Knee and Elbow strikes are your friend. Wrap his head with your left hand and pound the shit out of him with your right elbow. If you do it right and it connects with his temple, he's out. End of story.

A bunch of street fighters can't do shit if you get close, so they will throw punches that have little to no power. If they are bigger than you, avoid grappling. If he is smaller than you, you can try. Just remember ground fighting used 5x more energy than a well fought striking match.

You are retarded for three reasons:

1.) 20 rep squat program is for building mass and gaining weight in a short period of time. It's an old Olympic weightlifting program, that for some reason has been picked up by the internet as some kind of magic bullet.

2.) The program works by using the fatigue of 20 "breathing squats" to elevate GH and testosterone levels, but you will not be able to get that effect unless you can squat 1.5x your bodyweight for 20 reps. I'm guessing you can't.

3. Even with a properly designed strength training program, whatever gains you make in 3 weeks will be completely negligible when applied to a fight.

Your best bet would be to work on your conditioning, and maybe take a couple of beginner MMA or boxing classes. If it's anything close to a fair fight, then chances are it will be decided by who wants it the most. Don't be a pussy and end up rolling around on the ground until you tire each other out, those fights fucking suck. Be willing to inflict some pain and take some in return, I recommend rolls of quarters.
