Any advice on healing and preventing wrist pain /fit/?

My wrist and a bit of my forearm seems to be injured or something. It's difficult to work out or play guitar right now. I assumed if I let it rest for a few weeks it would heal, but it hasn't. It also seems to have developed a permanent click when I move it. I assume it's tendonitis.

From resting, the pain is no longer constant, but comes back if I aggravate it. Anything I can do to make it get better?

Go to a doctor, enjoy subsequent painful cortisone shot to help with joint inflammation.

Wrong side. I've never understood why people would want to handle themselves with their less dexterous hand. Except for the whole mouse thing I guess. I crossover.
