So /fit/ im trying to eat right and get into shape. For this mornings breakfast I ate oats and a bananna.

But the oats were SO wattery, even though i followed the recepie on the box (1/2 cup oats, 1 cup water).

how does /fit/ make their oats?

I don't follow a recipe, I eyeball it. besides, I nuke mine in the microwave.

1/2 cup of oats.
add water just enough to cover it, 1mm of water above the surface of the oats. nuke for 1:30-2:00 depending if I add powdered milk and a scoop of whey.

Just curious here, why not cook the OATZ in milk, since you add powdered milk anyway?

my refrigerator is old and shitty. Milk kept getting spoiled. Now I just use box powdered milk for the oatz and when I make my whey post workout.

are you cooking the oats?

when you boil the water a lot of it will evaporate, making the oats less watery

1/3 cup oats
1/4 cup milk
Nuke on high 90 seconds

I don't ''make'' oats. I mix them in delicious calciumey yogurt til it's crunchy and eat them. Try it some time.

I just boil some water, around 2-3 cups and then add 1-1 1/3 cup of oats. Mmm, 32g of protein and 640 caloires. Fuck yeah OATZ

6 tbsp. OATZ
2 tbsp. ground flax seeds
1 cup milk/water/plain yoghurt

Let it rest overnight.
