Hey,
Have fun with this - it's easy to lose weight when you're very heavy! When I turned 18, I saw the scale hit 300lbs. Within a year I had dropped to 220, by 20 I was 200 - now at 21, I'm 190 and just about to start P90X.
The key, for me, was not eating many meals a day (though sometimes I did), but more so being selective in what I ate, when I did. My issue was overeating poor things - now, I eat smaller portions and choose chicken over beef, peas over potatoes, etc...
If you want to base your ~2000 calorie diet around six meals, realize all of them have to be a bit smaller. The idea is not "eat regular meals, plus snacks". It's OK, especially at your weight, to just reduce your caloric intake at regular meal intervals.
That said, have a cup of yogurt for "snack"; maybe mix some with your oatmeal. 1/2 a granola bar, an apple (or other piece of fruit), a glass of milk, etc...these work well. You don't want "6 meals a day", but three small "meals" with two or three "snacks" interspersed.
Something that will really help you is to work out on an empty stomach, and making sure you quit eating at least three hours before you go to sleep. Also, drink tons of water.
Good luck on your adventure. It's very rewarding to feel your body getting healthier.
Best, blah
