hi /fit/
first time posting here. Need some advice. Im 21 5' 10" and weigh about 152 pounds. The problem is the only fat i have has accumulated under my chin/neck region and also belly. I am trying to get rid of that whatever way possible fast (a month or so before summer really starts here in Canada). Pic is related since i could not find the camera on time and so i did the next best thing: A realistic representation of me in MS Paint. Should i join a gym and lift weights? I usually am fit when i play sports but i got lazy last 3-4 months and this is the result. Started playing soccer again a week ago + biking but do not know if that will be enough.

Do sit-ups, it should knock out two birds with one stone. It'll work your abs and hips, and also, when you strain forward to complete the rep, you neck should also be working to keep you neck level.

oooh, thanks. Also, how much should i be able to do in one ... set. I get tired after around 35-40. Is that normal or have i gotten too lazy?

Just get a tad bit more fat under your chin and call yourself the Hen-Man!

That sounds about average. Its no problem when you get tired, take a break for a few minutes or so, then try to do as many more reps as you can in the next. You should see some rapid improvement if you're used to playing sports.
