so what does everyone take with them to the gym?

here's my list:

boxing gloves
wrist wraps to grip bar during deadlifts
ankle wraps (cable crunches ftw)
jump rope
towel
fingerless gloves

of course my gym is in my garage so i have everything i need there, chalk/dry-erase board/towels

unless you go to a boxing gym, there is no reason to bring boxing gloves to a gym. Especially since you leave out the fac that you're bringing wrist wraps to go along with gloves, i can assume you're the type of douche who shadow boxes in the gym and looks over his shoulder every few moments to make sure that people are paying attention.

BTW, unless you have some sort of medical problem that requires wrist straps, you should probably man the fuck up and work out on that grip. Your deadlift might be less but you won't be cheating.
