/fit/, I've torn the muscle on the right side of my chest (pic related). Is there anyway to speed up the healing other than rest? It affects almost my whole workout.

You could not fucking work out so you could actually heal...

Welcome to the injury club. I'm the bum that keeps saying he has tendonitis in his elbow and knee.

Just don't work out. Use an ice pack on it frequently for now. After four days of healing use a heatpack on it, but use the heatpacks sparingly. If used too much, a heatpack can increase inflammation again since they help with circulation.

You've got it easier, tendons take longer to heal than muscle.

i used to get tendonitis, nad it killed my arm to bowl one delivery (i play cricket). i had this problem for a long time.
one day i just forced myself to bowl for four hours straight, and a week later, arm was completely cured.

true story. though i wouldn't really recommend it - i think i was just lucky

Definitely. I tried that already and it aggravated my condition. I grew up being taught in a very old school fashion, "Well now boy, if that shit hurts then you're doing it right!" So I often tried to play through the pain until my condition worsened and rendered me useless.
