Hey, /fit/, I don't know if you remember me clinging to the bottom of that Street Fighter thread from a few days ago in here. Like I said, I WISH TO BE THE YUN. I don't want to be a stick figure, but I don't want to have huge muscles, either (see Progression_Guy in the sticky) and as stupid as it sounds, it seems like this fellow has an admirable balance between thin and muscle, and I wouldn't even need that much arm muscle to be happy. But if we take a look at my figure, you get a short guy with fat thighs and no tone anywhere on my arms. So you could say that I have little or no strength, that little would be in legs from DDR. Add on a relatively healthy weight with some pudge clinging to my waist and upper legs. Fast food is a rarity, and I stopped drinking soda cold turkey a long time ago.Rambling aside, this is where I would like /fit/ to come in. My only viable equipment is a set of light weights, minimal cardio equipment (nothing like a bike or treadmill) and, if it counts, a DDR game. I do not deny being a little too inactive, as there are no decent neighborhoods around to jog when Spring rolls around, no campus with a flight of stairs (like some people suggest) and, well, the only thing I can think of is a YMCA nearby. But please note, I have determination AND a lot of free time as of late (as much as 8 hours a day, proper rest included).tl;dr: Street Fighter nerd with a lack of exercise resources/knowledge wishes to be the little Yun. Any help would be appreciated.
Heh I remember growing up wanting to 125 lbs because that was Ryu's weight. Then I found out it's actually 175 lbs.
I'd suggest bodyweight exercises (pushups, Hindu squats, etc.), they only take your body and whatever space you need to lie down. Also, try buying a jumprope for cardio.
