hey /fit/ i just ot a set of gravity inversion shoes, to do inverted situps. I hear thought that there is a possibility of bursting a blood vessel or giving yourself an aneurysm. is this common or something that will only happen very rarely?

That shit does not look safe, brace for falling on your head.

Can you not just hang on to tree limb or something with behind you knees?

How is that less dangerous?

it would be hard to keep yourself from falling on a tree limb, its actually pretty secure, my pair are better than these in the pic those were just the first to come up on google

Just seems like it would be easier to get down from incase you started getting light headed or blacking out.

Really?

and what makes this a better ab workout than hanging from your hands and lifting your legs up in different directions, knees bent and straight?

you can get a similar degree of motion from doing dragonfly's. google em.

yo fiddy, where timbo at? tell em he needs to get his ass back on here, i miss that motherfucker.

as for you OP;

yeah doing these sort of exercises regularly increases your risk of bursting a blood vessel/ causing an aneurysm but it doesnt increase the risk by much. if you are already a healthy individual your blood vessels should be able to handle the added pressure
