Cut out greasy foods?

Think about it though, acne can be caused by high levels of testosterone. You might just be too manly.

Thats understandable. Maybe I should stop masturbating?

I luled for some reason.

Greasy foods have nothing to do with it unless it's some type of rare allergy. SOME people have SOME reactions to CERTAIN things like dairy, which MAY cause increased oil production, but this doesn't apply to most people.

OP: Probably 60% genetics, 40% bad hygiene that you aren't aware of. Wash all of your towels and sheets every Sunday, never wear the same clothes the next day, never use regular soap to wash ANY part of your body...it just clogs pores, make sure you actually rinse properly before getting out of the shower, drink tons of water and wholesome carbs (both are vital to your skin's health), get plenty of vitamins D, E and K, and get more sunlight exposure.

Masturbating often actually keeps your testosterone lower.

I was only implying that I have better things to spend my money on than something I might be able to do without spending money.

acne has nothing to do with what you eat. the active ingredients in the expensive OTC shit can usually be found for cheap too (ex. proactive = benzoyl peroxide). fastest and surest way to clear it up is to see a dermatologist and get something rx, though.

Well my father does have it, I don't know about my mom though. She rarely walks around the house with no shirt on. As for the hygiene I take 1 shower every day. I wash all of my towels once a week, but I often wear the same clothes 2 days in a row. And I don't take my shirt off, so theres no way i can get sunlight exposure.

Sucks man, I know.

I have it quite a bit worse than OP's pic, but it's nowhere NEAR as bad as that one pic yesturday.
It always has made me feel disgusting, even though I took a shower and everything.

Then again, I've never really tried a treatment on my back and it's gradually is getting better now, only thing there is a shit load of scarring. Probably was my hormones or some shit like that, and now that they're starting to calm down, it might make it start to go away.

Anyways, swimming should help, some sun, maybe some Panoxyl depending on how bad it is.

Females are MUCH less prone to acne than males simply due to the differences in sexual hormones. Females very very rarely get acne on their bodies and it's much more common to have facial acne in males. Ever see those birth control commercials where they claim a side effect may be clearer skin? That's because birth control is nothing more than supplemental estrogen and the increase in estrogen keeps skin more clear.

Also, the exposure to sunlight isn't necessarily required on your back, just get it anywhere you can. It provides lots of essential vitamins and getting sunlight greatly boosts your body's ability to produce and store fat soluble vitamins, which are essential to healthy skin.

OP here. The OP pic isn't me. I felt too lazy to take a pic, so i googled. it's just a tad bit worse than the pic. The thing that i hate most about it is the ones on my chest. Those really bother me because i often pull down my shirts neck to show off my necklace. But now i can't really even do that.

Oh and i read somewhere that if you picked or rubbed them hard they could leave scars.

Don't pick at them, they def leave scars. Just keep as clean as you can, maybe use a peroxide solution you can mix yourself.

Are you on one your parents' health insurance? Go see a dermatologist. Every case is different and there are hundreds of different skin conditions with the prefix "acne". Rosacea is a form of acne, as is eczema, as is acne vulgaris, etc. Acne is actually more of a blanket term for what may be a bunch of different skin conditions. Don't make the mistake of mixing up pimples with acne vulgaris, pimples are simply clogged pores cause from outside sources, while acne vulgaris is more closely related to boils.

But, yeah, see a dermatologist. We can't really do all that much for you aside from uneducated conjecture.

I had acne for years and I was always on some stupid antibiotic to get rid of it. After not really making any progress I looked for other options.

Someone suggested panoxyl cream. After a week my back acne was almost completely cleared up. There are still some scars but I haven't gotten any new break outs in about 2 months and I hardly even use the cream on my back any more. I use it sometimes on my face if a see a break out happening and it stops it completely.

I'm shocked/pissed my doctor never even mentioned this stuff. Pimple popper MD BITCH.
