A guy told me today that you get 10% more out of a curl if you extend your entire arm back at the end of a rep.

Is that true, or is he full of shit and that's a good way to hurt yourself and nothing else?

He probably means to get rid of momentum/muscle elasticity to make the curl easier.

If that's what he means, he's right.

If you want big arms forget curlz, they will not work.
Start rowing, if you suck at form just use dumbells.

I do preachers at the end of my workout, every other back day and my arms are growing just fine.

I warm up with dumbell rows, the bentover rows heavy, then lat pulls.

Rest for 3-4 minutes then Deadlifts, a light set of low-rows to stretch out after and then preachers with 70-80 depends on how fresh Im feeling
