Yes. And N/A because you'd be wasting your time.
In b4 "curlz for da girls". Do it the old fashioned way.

If you're a total out-shape-fatass/toothpick,
any exercise is better than none.
That being said, there are probably better things that wii fit.
Not having played it before, couldn't tell you what to use.

the free run/island lap is decent for your heart, you're just basically running in place. The strenght exercises didn't really impress me but I really did like the yoga portion.

wii fit doesnt do a lot for you weight wise
however it does get you off your fat ass and it puts you on a regular schedule
that being said it has some fun aspects but isnt worth it if you re trying to lose a lot of wieght

Dance Dance Revolution is better as far as im aware for pure cardio. Correct me if i'm wrong though.
Either way, makes me realise how unfit i am each time i do a hard song for my level of play and only after maybe 6 songs im working up quite the sweat.

Wii fit is for people who weight 300 pounds and can barely get off the couch.

The best thing to do is to pick it up and squat with it.

Its ok the only thing strength wise is doing push ups but you don't need a wii-fit to do that, wait you don't need a wii fit to do any of the exercises.

the ONLY good thing about it, is the scale and chart it plots

other than that, useless

I'm 286 and I get off the couch and go outside all the time.

And food isn't involved!

add a 50lb dumbel to the wiimote.

You are wasting your time with that thing. The only thing it is good for is tracking your weight (ignore the BMI) and giving you a nice graph

The balance thing is somewhat useless I find. Helped me correct my centre of gravity.

useful*

it's good for keeping track of weight, correcting posture and some cardio.

i'd say it's good for fitness, as is intended, but not for strength building, for which it is not intended.

the yoga is okay but a lot of it is named wrongly from what i've heard.

It's a video game, and a fun one. If you do it every day for 30-60 minutes, you can lose weight. Some people online have blogs about losing like 15lbs just doing Wii Fit.

Should Wii Fit be your only exercise? No. Is it a fun game that also can add some help to improving your health?

Yes. I lift weights at the gym 6 days a week and play Wii Fit like 2 or 3 times a week, Wii Sports a few times. I treat it as a Game first and supplemental exercise second.
