Gym and Results Anonymous
Sup, mis/fit/s?

I was just wondering how many of you go to the gym and for how long. I think if the number of people who do are significantly higher than those who don't, that in itself is a good thing. Perhaps the result will also persuade those who don't to join a gym too.

Anyway, as for myself I've been training in my home gym for roughly 8 months. Gained 8kgs of muscle and have hardly any fat at all (just the way I am, I eat like a horse).

I went to the gym for a a half a year and from a skinny geek i turned into a muscle man. But haven't kept it up so now i am turning into a fatass. Fucking college...

I hit the gym for 2 hours, almost everyday.
My body fat dropped from 19% to 12% in less than 8 months.

I guess so, I saw others using it today when this board was created.
I reckon it's pretty cool.

Opinion time: what is better, home gym or public?

Public: More equipment to play around with, if the gym is good there's a good vibe in the place and there is more experienced people that can give you assistance.

I used to go to the gym when i was 16 or so, does that count?

I go 2-3 times a week for about 90 minutes and i go for a 2 mile run 2-3 times a week on nights that i don't go to the gym. I'm getting in pretty good shape. Around this time 2 years ago i was in supreme shape, but then i let myself go for about 18 months after i pretty much stopped going out and caring about my looks or health. I started again a few months ago and i've lost 19 pounds so far.

I go to the gym most days for about an hour. It's nice.

I never went to a gym in my whole life. Until college the dojo I went to provided more than enough exercise (3 sessions of 2 hours each, plus 2*1hour field running). Since then I've been moving a lot, not able to stick to a correct routine. Moreover I'm hyperactive, even with a regular diet I can put or lose 5 pounds in a month (always staying in the 145-175 range for 6 feet, not much flab), which sucks bad.

The least I do is 3*1/2 hour field running per week, plus daily 5bx (maintaining B- on the 5th chart for connoisseurs).
