Not sure if this should go into /fit/ or fashion but whatever.

I have fairly dry hair. I dunno if it's because I'm not using a conditioner or some hair product or what. What should I use to make it not so dry? IE- what conditioner, if diet helps, etc.

Pic unrelated, but OMGAWESOME

You're pretty much stuck with it. But buy better shampoos and conditioners which have labels relating to something about moisture or whatever. I found that the Aussie brand is good!

Get more omega 3/6 (fish oil/seed oil, respectively). Don't wash hair every day, and use any conditioner you wish. You might look into getting a shampoo/conditioner combo that is specifically made for moisturizing.

Most guys don't know that you still have to use shampoo when you use conditioner. Conditioner just goes on after shampooing to give your hair something of a "clean greasy" effect.

If I get a shampoo/conditioner mix, will that not moisturize as well as something that just conditions? Also, what is the best brand to get?

It's better to get them seperate! Aussie is good, as some other person said earlier.

separate is best. i have the same problem as OP and the way i figured that helps is that i use the leave-in conditioners after i use shampoo. it alleviates some of the dryness in my hair.
