have to be careful for initial few hours/days?, the raw exposed wound can get infected very easily. the skins seal has been broken. take care.

little off topic:
what did anon use for keeping the skin moist?
I've been told scent free lotion , anti bacterial creams, and corn husker oil... so which the hell is it?

I used anti bacterial cream and worked great, no color fade of worry of well... bacteria...

heres the tattoo low down from someone who dose it for a living.
keep it UNCOVERED
keep it clean by washing it with warm water and mild soap 2 a day is good
first two days put a little but of A&D on it anymore you're going to pull the ink out
it can take up to a month for it to heal even just to get that funny paper skin off it.

The wound will close up quickly (probably by the next day). You still need to be very careful with it though. After a few days it will have scabbed over. Be very gentle with it now! If the scab gets torn off, it most likely *will* show later (meaning forever).

And by "now" I mean "until the scab has naturally disappeared".

about 10 days > 2 weeks, avoid the sun while healing and for 2 weeks afterwards as much as possible.

scent free lotions are ok but bepanthen is better: avoid tattoo goo and tattoo treatment things as alot of people get allergies to them then your FUCKED
