hello /fit/

I currently weigh 185 pounds and i'm 5'10. I'm trying to lose at least 2 pounds a week so that in 2 months i'd have lost 16 pounds. For the last week i went to the gym everyday and ran for 30 minutes each time, burning an estimate of 300 calories. 2 of those 7 days i also did weights. I'm not drinking any soda and not buying any fast food. I eat home made meals that are pretty healthy. Is that enough for me to lose an average of 2 pounds a week?

honestly? do 45 mins instead. that little bit more will go a long way.

I'd think so but I'm not an expert. I imagine it also depends on what you diet is like even without the fast food.

Depends on a whole host of different things. Your calorie intake, how active are you outside the gym, your genetics, your current body composition, etc.

Try not to look at it as "how much weight can I lose" but "how much further/faster can I go and how much more can I lift next time". Keep trying to make progress, not just doing the same shit over and over.

Losing 2 pounds a week is not a realistic goal for weightloss.
