Hai /fit/. I have a few things I've been curious about before I start working out and getting rid of my overweight gamer body / posture:

1: I was just wondering, is it better to eat before or after you start running? If so, what is good to eat? (e.g. Meats after running, noodles before running, etc.)

2: I've heard that at least 30 minutes of running per day is prime. But how often should you do it per week? Is running 7 times a week going to guarantee the maximum amount of weight loss over time?

3: Does fapping before exercising diminish returns on one's overall athletics?

I started running a while back going about 4km every day. I always eat after I get home, drinking 2 full glasses of water and taking a fruit (as its basically the only thing I can get down at the moment). After about 2h I take a "regular" breakfast, most of the time its oatmeal, but every once in a while I enjoy a good´ol cup of tee and a sandwich.

I'm seriously thinking on extending to 2 laps around the local track thou, going 8km every day, for a better result.
Eat regular home made food, and try to cut down on you're portions. If you feel hungry anyway match up with more salad on you're meals, and eat a fruit every now and then when you get hungry.

1. Side stitch is more probabel 3 hours after a meal, i always run first thing in the morning and eat afterwards.

2. All about burning more calories than you eat.

3. Wow, i think we need some scientific research to answer that question.

yeah some people will do a quick snack (apple, protein shake) before running but i prefer to do cardio on an empty stomach before breakfast.
now if you're talking about running after a big meal like lunch/dinner, it's better to do it before so that your energy isn't split between digesting and running.

how often you run is up to you, obviously the more days you run, the more calories you burn so 6-7 days a week would be best if you can manage it.
