/fit/, i am proud to announce that i have completed ADEQUATE SQUATZ. when i started my workout routine 4 weeks ago, i had too hard of a time with my stabilizers to target my quads. tomorrow, i will be a sore boy.

also, how strong are my legs if i'm warming up with 175 and topping out at 10 reps with 215?

You're an average beginner, I'd say. But your stronger than all the losers who don't do squats and your numbers should still increase rapidly for a little while.

how much do you weigh? i am 150 and i can just barely manage a rep of 215 and i've been doing squats for a while now.

i know i will. i was not doing 215 4 weeks ago let me tell you. i've already added 30lb to my bench press too.

like i said, i'm having trouble with stabilizers. i could have done way more than 215 on my last set of SQUATZ (i would realistically estimate that my quads could handle my whole 300 lb set) but my back and shoulders kept giving out and i felt like i was going to lose control of the bar. i did 16 reps by 175, then 12x195, then 8x215 -- it was supposed to be 10x215 but i almost fell over -- then instead of adding more weight, i just did 2 more sets of 10.

Sounds like your max is in the 230-240 range. About 400lbs is considered intermediate by some of the people I'm in contact with.

i'm a big dude. i'm 6 foot 240lb. everyone thinks i'm 180-200 though. i have a lot of quad muscle from years of biking, but i have been through a huge quarter life crisis lately that has left me fat and soft and perpetually drunk. i got a weight set for my birthday and it is motivating me to get healthy. my dietary habits changed SHARPLY after i got the olympic bar. i don't even WANT cake anymore.
