Lots of pushups and crunches I suppose, you cant spot reduce fat, but if you can fill up the target areas with more muscle it may have the desires effect.

Go to the gym.
You do 5 sets of 5 reps, for everything.
Monday:
Squats
Lunges
Bicep Curls
Tricep Extensions

Wednesday:
Dips
Bench Press (bar, not dumbell)
Shrugs
Military Press

Friday:
Deadlift
Dumbell Row
Chinup
Good Mornings

Do this, eat less food, what you do eat has to be higher protein. No carb rich foods after midday. That means you can have your toast + eggs + bacon for breakfast, and some chilli and rice for lunch, with a snack of maybe 2 salad sandwiches inbetween, but then for a snack after lunch, you might have a chicken breast cooked in desired way, then for dinner maybe a steak, or some fish and vegies, no bread, no potatoes, no rice or pasta for dinner.

Train heavy, train hard, always focus on using more weight.

if you don't know the exercises.

Sure you might not totally lose them right away, but as your shuolders look wider and chest looks thicker in a good way, they'll become alot less obvious, aswell as you look 10 times better in a tshirt, then when you're ready, come back here, go to tnation or bodybuilding.com and start looking for advice on how to lose fat, without the muscle.

Within 12-18 months, you'll look a million bucks.

I bought a book
http://www.amazon.com/Maran-Illustrated-Weight-Training/dp/1592008666/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books
&qid=1207017427&sr=8-1

Nicely illustrated and each exercise has a list of "don'ts". Great for beginners like myself.

I don't know of it, if you have any confusion with the "donts" email me, I've seen some really good advice combined with terrible advice in workout books.
