sup /fit/,

When I do crunches or any thing where my back bends (touching my toes for example)

There is a part of my back that pokes out.

Actually it pokes out all the time, EXCEPT when I'm standing/sitting with good posture.

The thing is though, when I bend I can feel my spine protuding out of my back.

How can I fix my back problems.

The back problems aren't causing a problem now, but they can later I assume.

OP here. The part that pokes out is near the lumbar curve on the pic.

What part of your spine pokes out?
Be more specific if you want help

I'm going to assume you're really skinny, build up some mass in your lower back and it'll be a lot less noticeable.

no, not straight out.

The part of my spine that is on the same level as my navel is bumpy.

You are not going to be able to correct that with exercise, you should go see a doctor about it. A lumbar brace could help but they are expensive. Lardoloc sells excellent ones. You could try getting a referral from a doctor

Hey i'm not OP but lately after losing 60 lbs my mid-spine pokes out and it hurts when i lean against walls or slouch in chairs? I dont want to gain the weight back (that I think was acting as a cushion) should I do some lat/lower back exercises? Or go to a gym and ask the trainers which exercises would help the most?

Also, I fail... it's lordoloc, and I am honestly not sure if it would help your back. But talk to your doctor and find out what he thinks is best.

An exercise ball is one of the best things you could buy. There are several exercises one can do to strengthen their back. I may have to start scanning exercises for /fit/

Strengthen is what I meant to say. Man I am failing at typing right now
