Mucus diets Anonymous
so /Fit/ I used to train in mma, and at the time I heard Randy Couture talking about NON-mucus producing diets. Well I think I need to get on one of these diets, I know I have a post nasal drip ive always had one but lately it feels like i have something in my chest/throat area i can cough up, and when i do it is indeed mucus like. I know mucus is your bodies way of trying to get rid of something.

Any one know a link to a diet which lowers the mucus production, Also im pretty sure this is all allergy related but clariton D did me no good.

Cut back on dairy.

... and I'm tapped.

milk makes mucus. how much dairy is in your diet? you might have a low grade dairy allergy or be lactose intolerant. if you're eating tons of dairy try cutting back.

i don't know what pollen conditions are like where you live, but you might have a specific pollen allergy too. if you really want to stop it, see a doc.

You may just need a different medicine. I have horrible allergies; it felt like I had the flu constantly before I got treatment. Claritin didn't do a whole lot for me.
I started taking Allegra to hold off the nasal allergies long enough for a nasal spray (rhinocort) to actually stay in my system, and it's been great.
