Slight acne Anonymous
I get breakouts of boil-like spots on my back and sometimes on my face but most of the time i just get spots on my chin and jawline from shaving, does anyone know some good facial cleansers for sensitive skin?

Last shit i used gave me a bad reaction and gave me horrible bumps that looked like acne.

Forgot to mention i use facial scrub and moisturizer but i still get these fucking breakouts, such bullshit.

Cheese grater.

Seriously though, as far as your face it sounds like you've got ingrown hairs, which exfoliating every so often will help with. Also, try shaving after hot showers when your pores will be more open.
Shit happened to me a lot, not so much anymore.

As far as facial cleansers, anything scentless that claims to be for "gentle" or "sensitive" skin is all I can really recommend.

do you use a razor or electric? aftershave? need moar infor to properly be an internet dokkktor

Don't use an electric shaver, try to substitute it with a regular Gilette razor. I noticed that I don't get any pimples around my face since I started shaving with a gilette razor. They cut the pimples, an electric shaver doesn't.

I did use a razor but i changed to a dry electric shaver, problem is i used to cut my chin because my chinhair is like wire.

Everytime i find a spot fighting cream they are always in tiny tubes that last about a damn week.

Would it be suggested to wash my face with soap, instead of useing facial scrubs after i wash?

thanks for the replies

I also get them on my forhead but i am really annoyed because i don't eat badly and i wash quite alot, would it have anything to do with useing showers too long?

I have some spots (red ones that look more like something has been pressed there for a while) on my chest and some acne on my back

I'm pretty sure it's from working out in the same clothes once in a while

I've been washing my back and chest with a warm cloth before I go to bed and noticed that it helps

While reading about infrared heated saunas I learned that infrared kills the bacteria on your skin that causes acne. So, either get a sauna or maybe try putting a very thin coat of lotion on your skin after showers to protect your pores from bacteria. Facial scrubs may be damaging your skin surface making it more prone to infection, I always had worse breakouts using acne washes than just rinsing my face on a regular basis.

Soap is going to irritate your skin more, for what it's worth.

Let me ask all you people how old you are.
Chances are if you're going through puberty and have acne there's nothing you can do but wait to grow out of it. You can treat it over and over but it'll just come back until your hormones settle.

A facial scrub may dry out your skin or irritate it further, even more so if it contains unnecessary chemicals and you use it in excess.
If you think your skin is sensitive, then use gentle, plain soaps (Dove) and a plain moisturizer (a little petroleum jelly or Aquaphor). Cheaper than most OTC crap and not quite as harsh, either. Personally, I use Dove soap in a sort of hemp soap bag once or twice a week to exfoliate. Any more than that and my skin gets irritated and breaks out.

"Washing a lot" is a great way to dry out your skin. Twice a day WITH soap is enough (after and before bed). If you're washing that much because the oil bothers you, rinse your face with plain water and pat dry. If it gets too dry, always reapply your moisturizer.

You sure these aren't ingrown hairs from shaving?

Had the same problem.

<-- Now I use that kind of thing.
It's basically used to cut hair and not beard, so you won't be shaved perfectly (some millimeters will remain, but it won't for sure hurt or infect your skin.

And I noticed that washing my face repeatedly, even with adequate products, leads to more pimples. Shit dries your skin, which produces more oil to compensate.
I used to wash twice a day, now I do it once or none, eat a shitload of apples and sweat as fuck, works well.

Once in a while I would break out with one or two zits

How often do you clean your sheets? Do you touch your face throughout the day? Do you wear clean clothes?

spoiler: exfoliation, do it! - there is a reason girls get "microdermabrasions" and "facials" because it helps get rid of acne and makes the face look clean, glowing, etc
