Hey mis/fit/s

I just started eating chicken again

This is the greatest and healthiest meal I've ever had--crazy amounts of protein, nice clean carbs, low fat

green beans steamed, fresh raw baby carrots, and bbq chicken (with garlic and olive oil, pepper and cayenne)

The bbq sauce isn't healthy, but I use very little, cayenne makes it spicy to raise my metabolism

This may be better suited for /ck/, but what simple, healthy meals do you guys like? this takes me 15 minutes to make (beans steamed a few days ago in large quantity and stored in tupperware)

Good Meals
>Unsweetened, unsalted oatmeal /w small can of drained peaches.

>Cucumber and hummus on cracked rye bread.

>Small bowl of cottage cheese, 5 dates and a banana.

Keep in mind it's the multiple meals kind of portions. You are going to want to eat something more substantial if you only have 3 a day.

Perhaps have the veggies raw, cooking kills off a lot of the goodness

carrots are raw
steaming green beans does very little to the nutritional content--that's the benefit of steaming over boiling

i like how you make it a point not to put sugar on your oatmeal, but then you eat canned fruit, which has shittons of sugar added to it and ALSO has a lot of its nutritional value destroyed in the canning process

glad to see someone with good taste ;)

here's how I make the chicken (beans and carrots should be obvious)

take chicken breasts sliced into maybe 3 pieces for each half breast (or just buy "chicken tenders skinless boneless" from HEB or something)

pan with med heat, olive oil

when warm, put chicken in, put pepper on chicken

wait a few minutes and then flip

again with the pepper, and put some minced garlic on each piece

wait a few minutes, then flip

put on cayenne and barbecue sauce

be shuffling the chicken around to keep it in the oil, garlic residue, and bbq sauce

wait a few minutes, take a fork and knife, cut into each piece to make sure it's not still raw in the center

eat OM NOM NOM

if you do it with the correct heat, the chicken will be tender as fuck; i've never had any poultry this tender in my life

Paprika, lemon grass, touch of ground cinnamon, fresh minced chilli and garlic (or dried powder equivalents if you don't have fresh). Either bake in crushed tomato's or lightly fry in olive oil. Add onions on top if you bake in a corningware dish with the lid on.

FUKKEN YUM!
