Goddammit is the entire south/south-east retarded? It's not called a "coke" unless it has some kind of coca flavoring.

I have lived in Ohio, Florida, Texas, New York, South Carolina, and Germany and about 75% of people I have met said "soda"
About 20% would insist that it was always "Coke"
and about the last 5% would say "pop"
Every time someone says pop I want to pop them in the goddamn mouth.

wtf is "other" on that chart?
do large numbers of idiots walk around saying "pardon me could you bring me a soft drink please?"

"Soft drink", "Fizzy drink", or else they refer to a specific brand or type of soda. 'I'd like a Dew', 'I'd like a root beer', 'I'd like a diet cola', and so forth.

I live in Atlanta, so it's called "coke", but I"M from Detroit, so I call it "Pop".

I remember the first time I heard someone refer to Mountain Dew as "coke". I raged for days.
