Hello
I don’t do this much but I am at a cross roads

Problem: whether or not to start my instance morning work out imiditly after not training for 4 weeks

Facts: 1.I have got my deviated septum corrected 4 weeks ago, doctor gave me the Ok to work out but didn’t give me how intensely I can do it
2. I am a very good at the sport that I do, (10th in world) so when I train I train very intensely and I do double practices, morning and afternoon. It pretty much training for the Olympics

Problem:
Conflict one: My coach dislikes me, (im not going in-depth why) she is telling me I should not state my morning practices yet because it will shock my body and I will burn out pretty quick
Her reasons: that I have not been morning training for 8 weeks and I was bed stuck for 4 weeks so I need to stick to regular practices and let my body “worm up” to work again

Conflict two: my mother (which is in argument with my coach for reasons I will not go into) says “fuck her, she is only trying to slow u down, do morning practices”
Her reasons : with out training in the morning your going to get fat and slow and that you can jump into an instance work out because the doctor gave you the ok.
Ppl of /fit/ lend me your wisdom do decide what to do

2 things

1. Take a step back. Who do you trust for your sporting future - your coach who I assumed has played the sport, is trained OR a middle age woman with little to none experience.

2. I'm curious. What sport?

I recently had a septoplasty, turbinate reduction with sinus surgery. I don't train extremely hard, but hard enough and I was able to go back after 4 weeks, I took it easy but I was back to full workouts by 8 weeks.

Stop listening to everyone else, you have a mind and you should use it.
