Sup /fit/.

I'm male, 5'11", 300 pounds. I've had a bit of a revelation in regards to being xbox hueg, so I'm trying to work out an exercise plan before my skeleton calls it quits. (Right now I walk to class and that's about.)

I plan on taking longer walks daily, but I'd also like to address the fat on my abdominal and oblique areas.

Are there any resources you folks might be able to recommend? I could just wing it with the old push-up, sit up standbys, but I'd like some advice.

you can't spot lose fat , fatty.

just eat less and exercise more.

try jogging your fat ass instead of walking for faster results.

yeah, walking wont do shit fatty. do some real exercise

As it stands, jogging would wind me in a matter of minutes. I intend to start with walking and move up from there. Jogging would probably give me a heart attack.

Now, do you have any information for exercises that involve the two areas I mentioned?

I believe what he meant is you can build muscle mass in a targeted area, but cannot be that precise when it comes to losing fat.

protip, idiot! lifting weights cannot cause targeted fat loss! 'wow' yourself, moran.

All of you are idiots. Resistance training develops muscle. Muscle burns fat. Hence, resistance develops fat burning muscle. Combine cardio, and fat gets melted off.

you're a terrible troll dude. you're either so retarded you can't comprehend what i said, or pretending you're retarded so you can get a response.

either way you're still a mouthbreathing idiot.

you're just angry you said something fucking stupid.

>>there's no way to target a selected area for fat-loss like you can for weight training.
>>target a selected area for fat-loss like you can for weight training.
>>like you can for weight training.

THAT'S NOT INCORRECT AND STUPID.

if you could actually engage your brain, you'd realize that i meant that you cannot target an area of your body for fat loss specifically by any kind of exercise, UNLIKE how you can target specific areas of your body FOR WEIGHT TRAINING.

ugh.

Eat smaller meals every three hours (protein in every meal, and stop with the sugary drinks), walk for an hour before breakfast every day, do a few compound freeweight exercises every other day (squatz lol) and think about hitting a stationary bike or something on non-lifting days. You'll need to consider diet and workout in more detail if you want to lose A LOT, but in your situation, if you stick to this you will see much improvement.

This thread is like a singularity that somehow attracted all the idiots and trolls into one big clusterfuck.

Muscles require calories to maintain. Burning fat off is just having a caloric deficit. Thus, having muscle contributes to burning fat.

>>90843
No you just build muscle under the fat

Sup OP.

Immediately stop drinking things with high fructose corn syrup. Soda, artificial fruit juices, etc. Water, tea and delicious cancer causing diet brew.

And stop eating pizza and french fries completely, at least until you've gotten down to "husky" as opposed to morbidly obese.

It goes without saying you shouldn't be eating rich deserts.

target specific areas for what, moron? you don't say! or, did you?

>>target a selected area for fat-loss like you can for weight training.
>>target a selected area for fat-loss
>>selected area for fat-loss
>>FOR FAT-LOSS

Face it, dumbass, you either used shitty english and said something you didn't mean, or you really did believe you can "target areas for fat loss with weight training." Either way you are a dumbass.
