Roids Anonymous
I know a shitload about steroids, their use, function, etc... but the one thing that medical documents have never told me is the street price on these things. How about listing some street prices that you've seen around for some common things like: Testosterone, Winstrol, Deca-Durabolin and maybe some PCT stuff like Nolvadex and Clomid.

roids make your balls funny

I want to know this as well

Androgenic Steroids will cause testicular atrophy, but the effects will completely reverse after the end of the cycle with a proper anti-estrogen post cycle therapy.

Does Anon need some JB?

I don't get it. Why do so many people ask about roids on /fit/? Unless you're some kind of extreme bodybuilder, why not do it the old fashioned way? Or are you people just lazy?

Maybe I'm just a purist.

they're trolls, sweetie.

I'm an athlete. The ends totally justify the means. Now tell me how much steroids cost.

1 million dollars.

Exactlty. Steroids done correctly do nothing but increase your body's capacity for muscle growth. I see no reason why someone that has reached an advanced level of fitness should shun them. A few people I've worked out with that do basic cycles have such fast recovery times that they can practically do major compound exercises like squats or deadlifts four times per week. Why would you want to not have that ability? It all links back to people not understanding steroids and having wrong preconceptions about their effects.

There are a lot of negatives though. I feel thta unless they were the difference between getting a major contract, or being one of the strongest people in the world, I wont take em

Lovely troll or real idiot.

So, the only negative you list to them is the possibility of losing a sporting contract? What about casual use?

Also,>>268738, I appreciate how you call me an idiot and don't state any valid faults in my argument. I challenge you to come up with any proof of my idiocy.

I would personally be more impressed with someone who reached a certain level by using only their body's natural ability, than with someone who reached a level twice as high by doping.
I can't help but see it as "cheating," or at least as an unnatural advantage.
>> Anonymous
Why would you push your body beyond it's natural limits?

What possible good can come from that? By doing so, you're turning it into an obsession. And unhealthy one at that.

They're illegal for a fucking reason.

Negatives being liver failure, sterility, among others.

They can really fuck you up.

But if I had to take them to get a 5 million dollar contract? oh yeah, no problem

That's where you're wrong. Working out on steroids doesn't magically make muscles appear. You can't sit on the couch and get jacked just by popping a pill or injecting your ass. Every fiber of muscle you build has been torn and mutilated and nursed back to health. Steroids increase your body's capacity for muscle growth, but that doesn't mean the muscles just 'appear', that means that you heal faster so you can go to the gym more often, that have more power so you can do more intense and longer workouts, etc... On steroids you work out harder than anyone that's natural because they help your body cope with the stresses of rigorous training. There is no cheating going on, you're simply healing faster so you can work twice as hard and get twice the results.

No, you're fucking with your body's natural processes in order to pointlessly increase your exercise regimen.

Dangerous and pointless.

>>Negatives being liver failure, sterility, among others.

Firstly, liver failure is only an issue with orally ingested anabolic steroids, and even then only in high doses. Injectable steroids do not cause any liver damage because they are not being forceably metabolized by the liver.

Secondly, sterility is not a long term or permanent side effect of steroids. Extreme abuse of a steroid with no post cycle therapies will undoubtedly cause major damage to your fertility, but so will overuse of a multi-vitamin. A proper steroid cycle will drop sperm counts by a minor percentage for the duration of the cycle and with proper post cycle therapy, sperm levels should be back to normal (or actually higher in quite a few cases due to increased testosterone development by the body) within two weeks.

Others? You haven't listed one yet.

I never assumed that it was an instant process. The fact remains that it is an unnatural enhancement, and that is something I have extreme difficulty reconciling.

>is not a long term or permanent side effect
lol.

stop defending yourself you faggot. kill yourself for resorting to roids.

It's the same logic that a lot of people follow where taking protein 'supplements' are an 'unnatural enhancement'. So, chicken is an unethical meal now because it has too much protein? You're not allowed to eat foods with more of the nutrients your body needs? How the hell does that make any sense?
>> Anonymous
>>268821
Obviously eating isn't unnatural. Shooting up on hormones is not equatable to eating chicken.

I'd definitely do steroid cycles if I could get my hands on cheap, high quality roids.
