So /fit/, I'm a fatty and I know it. I'm 6'7", 272.4 lbs, and I want to know how much weight I should aim to lose. I lift a lot of weights, but I don't do much cardio, hence I'm really strong and have large muscles, but they're hidden under my unsightly layer of fat.

I think that's just how the fat deposits expanded. The skin looks like its still attached to the muscle beneath, and now he just has six pockets of fat.

OP, you should aim to lose thirty or fourty pounds, assuming your ass and legs are as fat as the rest of you. Do it slowly to minimize gross hanging skin flaps.

Unless you have some major malfunction you're going to have those muscle groups fully there just like everyone else.

Start cutting, take in lots of protien, do weights with high reps low weight, so that your body is reluctant to break down muscle for energy and protien. Spread the protien out very evenly over the day so at no point does the body want to eat away at its muscle. Take in some protien that takes a while to absorb before you go to sleep.

Watch as you begin to look much more muscular.

As general guidelines they are useful. Of course, exercise and diet are the really important part but if you haven't got the right genetics you're never never going to be motherfucking Charles Atlas. You can be fit and athletic, but if you're looking for a specific bodily ideal your genetics might prevent you from achieving it.
