Is it all right to take a multivitamin with just water and no food? Specifically, http://www.gnc.com/sm-gnc-mens-mega-men-multivitamin--pi-2133771.html

I already eat both, but I want to fast/eat next to nothing and exercise this week so I can look damn good in my tuxedo this weekend for friends wedding.

No your body cant fully absorb everything it needs from them. Also you need protein which you don't get from that. Rather then that shit just eat a few small balanced meals every day. Make sure each meal covers all the food groups properly and within a few days your appetite will drop. People eat lots of junk food to compensate for the lack of nutrition they get when they eat shitty food. Their bodies make them stay hungry and it ends up backfiring. So just eat healthy and you'll get stronger and slimmer much better then any shitty diet plan or fake ass health pill.

It's alright in that it probably won't kill you. But you won't digest most of the nutrients in the pill if you don't take it with food. So you are kind of wasting your time.

you need fat, not protein. vitamins and minerals are either fat or water soluble.
