I'm trying to lose weight but I am a complusive snacker. Is there anything you can suggest that will fill you up easily without doing too much damage? I know there's alot of crap on the market that claims to do this but half the time it's bs

snacks. not dinner.

You can have vegetables as snacks. Instead of munching some chocolate crap eat a carrot. Fruits are fine too.

I have recently replaced my snacks with water, fruit-juice, fruits, and if I want to treat myself I'll have a low-fat biscuit bar or cereal bar, but that's maybe only once per week.

Pickles are a great snack if you like them.
I don't though, but damn if they aren't low in calories.

You could always just get some self control and eat proper meals. Fucking people and their "addictions"

Carrots are high in sugar.

Nuts are a good snack (inb4 testicle joke). I guess just watch the sodium.

But celery and carrot sticks (like baby carrots or premade sticks) are still a good source of fiber and will help keep you feeling full.

How has no one said oatmeal yet?
Well either way it should be the non-instant kind of oats. With out all the added sugar and what not.

It take more energy to chew it tot he point to where you can swallow the vegetable easily than it has in said vegetable. celery is like eating nothing and getting full

Chewing burns about as much energy as staring at the computer screen.

If any energy is used it's in the digestion of the celery although I'm not privy to how much energy it takes to digest, say, a gram of cellulose (which isn't really DIGESTED I guess process is the right word).

Still, great snack.

no one ever got diabetes from eating too many vegetables.

I am also a compulsive snacker. A lot of what's being suggested is meal-foods, which are too rich, what you want is... Paper?

I have no idea, but hey, I think I'll go try my new invented paper diet.

Same guy here, I forgot to mention that I've been tending to eat apples, and before that lots of plain bread. Seems to work quite well.
