Well I found this recently and I wanted to ask, is this actually a good diet? Is this healthy? It seems like it could be really nice, especially with decent eating habits on the days off of it and good exercise. Any comments?

Ohh, yes it's a great diet. IF YOU NEED TO LOSE LOTS OF WEIGHT IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME IMMEDIATELY BEFORE HAVING HEART SURGERY, YOU STUPID FUCK!

Thanks very much for the informative reply. But really, that's why I'm coming and asking if this is *healthy*. I would assume not, which is of course why I haven't done this. But thanks for being a dick. Really made my night.

Also I should add that:

>who need to lose LOT'S of weight

Anyone who doesn't know how to use an apostrophe probably isn't smart enough to give you advice about the complex biological functions of your body.

Thanks, that was much more informative. Seems like a lot of food for being a couple thousand calories less than 0.

Nah I'm good.

Finally someone knows something! I've been trying to drill that point in to this board since it's inception.

Thanks, that really helps. I'll tell the friend that gave me that in the first place not to try this if they want to live. It's interesting to know that about Hollywood diets, I had no idea. (Not that I would do one of those, as that would be idiotic.)

Thanks for reply~

Could someone find a graph of weight in conjunction with calorie requirements to sustain that weight? That would be REALLY useful for a lot of overweight people. If no one can I'll have to make a note of this and find/make one.

No, because SO MUCH MORE factors in to calorie requirements than just weight. With dieting being a multi-billion dollar industry, don't you think that if this were even remotely possible, it would be done already?

>>290690
... what? Did you even read his fucking post? He asked for a graph showing the requirements to sustain a weight and different weights itself. What are you talking about?

>>290693
THE REQUIREMENTS TO SUSTAIN WEIGHT FLUCTUATE MASSIVELY FROM PERSON TO PERSON. THEY ARE NOT BASED ON WEIGHT. FOR INSTANCE THE CALORIC REQUIREMENTS FOR PERSON 1 TO MAINTAIN A WEIGHT OF 300LB IS GOING TO BE VASTLY DIFFERENT FROM PERSONS 2 THROUGH INFINITY. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I SAID IN MY PREVIOUS POST; LEARN TO READ.

That looks like the diet the mother used in Requiem for a Dream.

Diet works. I used it a couple of years ago, lost 11 pounds.
