Two-A-Day-Training Lucretius the Dog Fucker !JnY88ep5OY
inb4EVERY HOUR IS TRAINING

Anyway, /fit/, thought I'd ask you guys; I'm doing a fairly standard 3 day a week volume training program, but I don't feel like I'm doing enough. I've already decided to pick up some cardio since my VO2 max is sorta weak, but that's not all the point; every day, I want to do this before I go to bed:

All it takes is a deck of cards and effort. The main reason for picking right before bedtime is so that I could theoretically rev my metabolism up so that I might be a little more efficient while I sleep. I do my main lifts within an hour and a half of waking up. Is it a good idea to train that close to sleep or am I just wasting time?

Pic related; it's what we all want to be.

This workout takes longer than you think and requires sprints. You should have atleast four hours between training sessions in the same day and your theory probably isn't the most scientifically sound idea. Give it time and proper nutrition, run the in mornings.

you would be better of by switching to a diet that boosts your metabolism and exercising properly to boost it throughout the day.

Any suggestions for said diet?

I guess at this point I'm wondering if this would be detrimental in any way, shape, or form.

Yeah, it would be fairly useless if your only goal was to boost your metabolism. You can checkout the anabolic diet, the warrior's diet, paleo is supposed to be good I guess. They take effort but if you want to lose weight they will work.
