good day /fit/

well i have decided to actually make myself a regime for working out in the aims of gaining as much muscle mass as reasonably possible. I have been working out for the past year pretty consistently but with no definite goals, mainly fitness and toning.

Now, i have access to a gym and can make my plans for workout, i've got that down. i will be working out for ~2 hours a day, every other day, half of that cardio, half strength training
there are a few things i would like advice on;
1. i would possibly wish to take protein supplements, which would be best forpure (or as near to pure) muscle gain and how much protein should i be taking in a day?

2. How many calories should i be aiming for a day? 3000? 4000? over 9000? help me out here guys.
