Hey /fit/. Whenever I lift something, like even a jug of milk I get pain in my forearm. I noticed it a couple weeks ago while I was at the gym, and I checked it yesterday again, and it still hurt. It's a pretty sharp pain, more prevalent in my left hand over my right, but it's still in both.

Any ideas to why this happens?

Pic related, it's where I usually feel it.

A) you aren't letting it rest long enough if you exercise your brachs
B) you have bad form when you are lifting and you work your brachs even when you dont mean to
C)Tiny muscular rips from a combo of A and B

SOLUTION:
The body is an amazing product of nature. Give yourself a break, focus more on lower body, things that you don't use your arms for. Give it a week, if it gets worse then you will need to see a doctor. but whatever you do DO NOT continue exercising, thats how a serious injury can occur, potentially affecting your long term future.

agreed but,

if you are getting a pain from lifting somthing like a milk jug i would say the time to see a doctor is now. could be a stress fracture or pinched nerve

I've got the exact same thing in the exact some place on my right arm. I keep thinking it's healed but when I start lifting again it hurts like crazy and is fucked for days. I'm going to cut over the next two weeks and not touch a weight, and if it starts up again I'm seeing a doctor. It hurts whenever I rotate my wrist or have to lift something with it, and I injured it lifting what was probably too-heavy freeweights.

I'm having something similar only on the side of my left shoulder. Think I got it from doing pushups (as doing pushups is basically the only time I feel it, and when I do it hurts like a motherfucker). Haven't really done pushups now in a week though and the shit is still there, gonna give it another week, if it still hurts, see doctor?
