Hello /fit/, tomorrow I am going to start jogging. I plan on making this a morning routine for 5 days a week. Are there any steps besides stretching for 15 min, eating a lite snack, and pissing/shitting that I need to do to help further the fat burning process?

Everyone is going to tell you to do HIIT, and they are correct in doing so. It will work wonders.

Also, don't eat shitty food, and STICK TO IT. Every pound /fit/ loses is another victory for those of us who are still getting into shape.

i would ease into it, but you won't listen to that advice. short of that, i would vary your routine, mixing distance, speed and intensity. say 5 km at a medium-fast pace, then 10 km slower, and then third day, 3 km with alternating hard 400m then slower 400m (that's old school HIIT training, right there son).

As soon as you wake up, 1 quart/liter of water.
It'll get all your insides moving and will make jogging about 20% easier.
I do it Mon-Sat, I would know.
