Dear /fit/,Should I work out when sick? I'm sick all the fucking time lately -- between colds, strep throat, food poisoning, and AIDS I'm sick probably half the time. My question is this: should exercise continue when ill? I've hit a plateau I'm sure I could overcome if I could work out for more than two weeks at a fucking time, but it doesn't seem to be in the cards. I'm not a powerlifter or anything, but I'm trying to bulk up a bit and it's getting frustrating. Is working out while I'm moderately sick going to do more harm than good?
Fix your immune system then work out.Go see your doctor if you're sick all the time or just get more white blood cells.
If you're sick then it means your body is trying to fight against whatever crap is in your system. Don't you dare workout. Rest!
