I am quite depressed atm

My friends joined the gym lately , ( Ive been there for 3 months some of them have been working out before )

but theres a competition going on,

recently ( 1 week ago ) i benched 50kg for the first time, i only did one but it felt great.
Recently i can't even push out one , but my problem is i told my friends that i can bench 50, i told them i would show them tomorrow. i was at the gym there and i gave it a go, much to my suprise i couldnt do it... is it mental? whats the problem here?

Are you including the bar when you say 50kg? Because some idiots don't include the standard 20kg bar.
So just add to 15kg weights to the bar and try to bench.

But of course, if you're not a complete retard and you include the weight of the bar then yeah, you're fucked.

Maybe try telling your friends that 50kg is your 1RM.
Better yet, kill yourself.

Hey OP. Dont worry We all have off day's! If you wanted maximum perormance on the bench. Do it first thing after streching off, so you have a lot of energy. I notice a big difference at the end of my session. Fir thing il bench about 70k by the end of my session il drop down to 50k and struggle a bit with that.

I know what you're talking about though, first time I tried 50kg it felt like a thousand elephants and when I managed it I was happy as hell. Next time I tried? No result. Don't drop yourself at all, just keep trying 50 till you get reps of it out, it'll happen quite fast. Just push yourself and soon 50kg will be nothin' but a peanut baby.

It could be mental, I know I have trouble cleaning heavier shit when I use large plates instead of multiple small ones, iunno I guess it just scares me, but it's more likely you didn't get enough rest. Eat a decent meal before you go next time, like an hour before, and have a decent drink and you'll be able to do it.
