Firstly, BMI is flawed shit.
Secondly, that's a huge increase in time. Are you 'power walking' at this point? If so, unless you want to get into running (and the accompaning sweat etc. which tend to require clothing changes) then you will have to add to your distance if you want to improve.
Or, if you were just a sluggish bastard to start with and only now are at a regular walking rate, keep upping your speed untill you're at 'power walking' (if you want to look that silly) and consider that a speed cap for no-gear-needed excersize.
