This is kind of a /fit/-/fa/ combined question. Right now I'm 200 lbs and I'm thinking about losing about 20-25 lbs this summer but I also need new clothes like jeans and t-shirts and whatnot. I usually wear XL shirts and size 36 jeans and I want to go down to L and 32 or so. What should I do? Should I just save the clothes for later? I really need some new stuff this summer.

Keep them, and get worried when they start to fit you again; it means you're failing your regime

Buy an article of clothing for when you lose weight. Nail it to your wall and look at it everyday. That will be your motivation to get yourself unfat.

I did it. I lost 50 pounds in 2 months. I would suggest saving your money until you actually lose the weight, though.
