I've got that problem too. I didn't even know that I had it until I had surgery, and my surgeon said "LOL HEY I NOTICED YOU HAVE UNEVEN RIBS. :D" Now every time I look in the mirror it's all I notice.

Hey fit, I need some general advice here.

Now obviously I have things to work on, but my biggest concerns are my chest and hips. I'm starting to look like a fucking girl.

About a week ago I started running again after a long time. Weird thing is this flabby body can do about 7 km (4. something miles) rather easily (in about 25-26min), and this is starting after a good two months of sedentary living. I'm running minimum 7km every other day, stretching after. Ran 5.04 miles today in 30min.

I'm not really doing any pushups/situps etc, as I'm not really aiming to get cut, just get rid of the flab. I'm hoping the cardio will just burn it off.

I don't eat a whole lot, I usually have one large meal in the middle of the day (I know, bad form), but it doesn't seem to slow me down too much. Don't get a lot of sleep during the week and sleep like 12hours on weekend.

TLDR:

I'm looking like a girl, started running 7km every other day a week and a half ago, it's relatively easy, no effect yet. Doing no other exercise. Is this good y/n? Something else I should be doing?

Should I eat more to boost metabolism, or is that stupid?

How would sleeping more/less affect this?

what you need to do is start lifting heavy (i recommend getting starting strength or ws4sb) and eating a lot
for cardio stop doing this long duration low intensity shit and instead to hiit
warm up for about 10 minutes, around 10 minutes of intervals (1 min high intensity, 1 min low intensity), 10 min cooldown
you can do this with running, biking, on the elliptical, ...
if you can do the entire 10 minutes of intervals in the beginning the intensity was too low
