Its fine in small amounts. I couldn't ever imagine eating more than 4 ounces of the stuff at a time.

Why would you want to eat it?

It's great for bulking

Get the solid kind, has less sodium and tastes better.

Its a great source of casein protein, the kind that your body burns slowly. So Its great to eat before bed for continuous protein absorbtion

Er, cottage cheese makes you fat? What? Cottage cheese is almost exclusively protein, especially if you get the low fat variety.

the home brand version has 7 more grams of protein per 100g of cottage cheese than fancy versions, and tastes cheesier (which I enjoy)

I eat 500g of it for breakfast, because that's 75 grams of slow digesting, filling, tasty, easy and quick to eat protein, a small amount of fat and carbs, and it puts me 1\3rd of the way to my daily protein intake before I even go to school.

It's also relatively cheap.
And casein fucking owns, your muscles are constantly recieving small bits of stimulation (walking etc) so why not always take advantage of it, growth stimulation lasts alot longer than an hour or two after a workout, and because I also do things like planche training in the morning, incline bench every night (just a thing I have) chinups every day, the benefits are endless in having some protein always in my blood.

Did I mention it tastes yummy as too?
