So I've been working out doing just weightlifting for like three weeks. I've been pushing myself hard and eating shitloads of protein every day. Basically, I want to get more muscle before I start cardio, mostly because I prefer weightlifting. Also, whenever I run, my nose runs and the insides of my ears hurt for days. I have no fucking clue why this happens.

Anyways, I'm female. Is there anything else I should do?

My nose runs aswell, but my ears only hurt for a few hours if it's cold. Can't help with 'why' though.

is there any way to fix it? I can't do cardio 'cause my ears ache so bad and I have to blow my nose every five seconds so it doesn't dribble down my face

That's my next question: how much cardio should I do? I have jack shit in terms of muscle tone. I was thinking I'd do some months of weight training until I get some muscle and then work on losing fat.

Or is this a bad idea?
