It jump starts your metabolism and sets you up for the whole day....think about that 1000 calories at night, you're having now. Your body isn't using that for fuel because you're sleeping. Just to get started, grab some oatmeal packets (I know they aren't as healthy as real oats, but they're quick and easy) and start your day with those and a boiled egg. And if you don't have time to boil eggs each morning, make like 10 on sunday night and store them for the week.
Plus you can grab a box little 100cal granola bars to have on you in between classes. Or fruits or jerky...it doesn't have to be like a real "meal" for the inbetween breakfast/lunch/dinner intake. Just something to keep your body wanting to burn calories.
