In an average day:

Breakfast - bowl of whole oats with various nuts and berries in whole milk, followed by two eggs cooked in olive oil and eaten on top of wholemeal toast, washed down with a mug of green tea

Lunch - Snacking on fruits and veg throughout the day at work, generally an orange, 1-2 bananas and or apples, about 150g of carrots and 300g of tomatoes

Dinner - Depends. Tonight, homemade pasta sauce with ground beef, chopped tomatoes, various spices and wholewheat penne, with a mug of green tea.

On lift days - 50g of whey, 50g of oatmeal in water for a shake plus a banana immediately after workout.

Copious amounts of water throughout the day. Pretty much sums it up.

what i buy every week at the grocery store:

3 gallons whole milk
64 oz chicken breast
2 lb steel cut oats
7 cans tuna
18 eggs
1 loaf whole wheat bread
1 box of salad (not sure how big the box is, but it's enough for 6-7 xbox hueg salads)

plus i go through a jar of organic peanut butter once every few weeks, and i drink a fruit gel every morning and night which i get for free

Bkfast: 2 servings of cereal in 1 cup of 1% milk
Snack: Green apple, carrots or celery
Lunch: 2 Turkey sandwiches, whole wheat bread
Snack: moar vegs and frootz
Dinner: Tuna and crackers or chicken breast, salad

That's about as clean as it's going to get for me, unless I switch out the morning cereal for a 2 egg omolette cooked w/ olive oil and 4 strips of turkey bacon.

I read people's meal plans and it all seems so meager amounts. How do you keep your stomach satisfied with such small amounts? If I ate just a small bowel of oats for breakfast I'd be starving 20 minutes later.

>>391297here. My breakfast alone runs about 800 calories, what with the eggs, milk, and nuts.

Lunch is meager, but I manage off the breakfast. Something like 300-500 in produce.

Dinner is another big one, the portions for the pasta include 250g ground beef, 300g tomatoes, and 100g penne. Not sure what the total is, but I know it's Xbox hueg.

The workout shake has to be about 300 calories, and even on my off days I snack on produce in the evening. I figure I'm getting 2500-300 calories a day. Not a science to me, so I'm comfortable.

This will sound like.. so bad compared to what some of you /fit/ considers healthy...
but since my gf dumped me I have had some serious trouble with gaining a apatite.
I can go a whole day on a slice of bread and a light soda... Some days its worse and some days it ain't.
Ain't complaining thou, was bit of a lard ass when I got the boot 3... or was it like.. 4 weeks ago (to think what 1 year of cuddling in the sofa every night with a bag of chips and a pizza can do to you... ugh.. I should have stayed single!)...
Anyway, I have lost like 15 kg. If only I could find the motivation to start working out now, it would be great:)

Probably already saw this coming, but that's lean weight you're losing. Cut it out.

you will lose weight if you don't eat, but then it will stop and you will not get past that. you have to eat eventually because your body is in survival mode and it will keep on any fat it can
