Hey, /fit/, why are you so obsessed with lifting heavy and acting like there are no alternatives? Personally, I've been doing calisthenics for nearly a year and I've seen great gains, definition, and amazing control of my body. I got into them because I have a friend who's a world class gymnist, serving on the national team, training with the olympic team, and was with Cirque de Soliel for 7 years.

Seeing him lift himself up with one hand and do unassisted handstand pushups made me realize that there really was something to be said for them. So how come /fit/ is so heavy on the weights?

Also, why is /fit/ so ULTRA MASCULINE SHIT IS SO CASH about things. People have different goals. Personally, I don't like going to gyms because I prefer my routine to be something I can do at home. When I wake up, I give myself a quick workout to wake up. When I go to sleep, I do my heavy workout so that I can take my mind off the day and have a good sleep.

Some people want to be able to do cardio for the sake of having a healthy heart and lungs. Being huge doesn't matter to them because they care more about just being healthy then SUPER HUGE AND LIFTIN HEAVY AS FUCK
