Rippetoe's Strength book Anonymous
I have the first edition of Rippetoe, I'm tempted to get the 2nd. Is the new edition worth $30 or should I get Practical Programming instead? Does anybody know what the fuck I'm talking about?

Get Practical Programming, then scan and upload to rapidshare. You'll be an internet, and more importantly, a /fit/ superhero.

Get 2nd edition. It is geared more toward people training themselves than coaches and has more assistance exercises. It's probably worth it Unless you already know what you're doin and don't really have form trouble.

Practical Programming. If you're like me, then the pirated 1st editions and the Starting Strength wiki site are more than enough information to train. I hear PP teaches more about designing programs for yourself at the intermediate and advanced levels.

I bought the 3 Rippetoe books and I'm in the process of scanning them. However, my setup is quite limited and the quality is not optimal. So far I've scanned the whole SS2ndEd and OCRed about a half. If anyone is willing to help me OCR, drop by 7chan or 99chan or contact me on 7chan's #/fit/ IRC channel. I don't log in often, but post in the OCR thread on 99chan and I'll try to log in.

That's fucking awesome dude. I just read the thread on 99chan, my sister was a scanner for a title company for a few years, I'll ask her to do a write up for some help.

Thanks, but what I need the most right now is people who will help me to clean up the scans. I just can't do it alone, because it's a shit ton of work and I don't have much free time. I'm currently using FineReader as the OCR soft, but I need a decent PDF editor for things like margins, etc. Since FR sucks fir that.

Rapidshit search for Nitro PDF Pro. It's a good PDF editor.
