Hey /fit/, I'm a fat bastard.

I'm thinking about getting some kind of contraption which will help me to lose some weight before summer (so I don't sit there baking in my own bodily juices like a beached whale).

I think a rowing machine of some kind would do me well, it seems like it would give the whole (or at least most) of my body a workout. Can anyone recommend a rowing machine that's pretty cheap and just does the job without all those fancy LCD screens and whatnot?

Any other suggestions for machines that would help a fat fuck like me, would be appreciated.

PS: I'm a diabetic, so suggestions like eating less are out of the question. I eat pretty well, I just don't do any excercise.

Jah, the rower is a good calorie burner from what I can tell, fuck buying one though just "rent" the gym's...

unless you have godly determination home kit often goes unused, whereas with a live gym membership you think "shit, better use it". At least that's how I think.

Thanks for the suggestion. I too have seen many friend's workout equipement turn into nothing more than somewhere to hang one's coat.

However, I'm a tight bastard when it comes to money, and if I don't use it I'll see it as a huge waste of money. That alone, I think, would be enough to get me on the thing at least once in a while.

Then make sure you buy a bloody expensive one.
