I'm taking creatine. I'm thinking about taking some muscle milk or slimfast or something like that with me in a cool little thermos. I go to school for a while before I work out on campus. Usually I've left the house for 6-7 hours before I work out.

I want to mix the creatine in with the milk-stuff but when should I do it? Any help would be awesome.

Creatine is really not as helpful as uping your amount of B vitamins in the body. The latter is much cheaper, too.

Yeah, it seems that way. I notice an increase in endurance on creatine, though. Not neccessarily energy. Which is why i'm using muscle milk with it.

Okay so mix it right before drinking, how long before I work out?

I've tried creatine a few other ways before and am trying to maximize its usefullness.

Creatine is a natural substance found in meats. It is always more beneficial to get nutrients from natural sources. Eat protein rich meats before and after you work out. You will absorb more of the substances needed for building muscles.
