Dear /fit, I am having trouble getting pass 135 pounds on my bench press. (two 45 plates on each side) How do i build up? i never feel like im working out when i hit the bench. Ive been stuck at two 25's on each side plz halp!

Sounds like your plateauing. Try intaking more protein and how many meals per day are you having?

I have cut back my calorie intake a lot (not sure) i have been completely off soda for 2 months now. i weigh 165 and i am about 5'10. meals range from 1 to 2 with snacks in between. I run everyday too 4 miles in 23 minutes.

Thanks /fit! im glad to see positive feedback. I have been swimming 1-3 times a week at 530 in the morning. So i feel my triceps are ok. I will try a 4 meal system being the 3rd meal of the day a protein shake. Also, what is the best cardio/weight loss/physique cutting workout?

Just so you know, 135 is ONE 45 pound plate on each end of the barbell, TWO 45 plates is 225. TWO 45 plates dose not add up to 135, it adds up to 225, its this thing call math. You should try it sometime.

Swimming is AMAZING for your cardio. It also works, in the best descriptive way, A SHITLOAD OF YOUR MUSCLES.

I knew some vegan kid last year who was 5'8" and like 105 lbs who decided to do swimming one year and gained ~15 lbs of muscle.
However, being a vegan and a complete douchebag, 7lbs of that muscle atrophied away during track season because all he did when we had to weightlift was whine about how we shouldn't have to do it.
