Hi /fit/,

After 5 months of intense training im now 76kg (168lbs) & 179cm (5,10 feet) & i have gaind muscle mass on my upper body but also gained some fat around my waist.

Only my upper abs show & some fit fags told me if i decide to loose the extra fat on my stomach bye doing cardio i could lose body mass elsewhere.

What should i start doing to loose the exta belly fat & not loose muscle mass ?

start of by doing moderate cardio for 15 min after weight training (ive read that cardio after weight lifting is capable of burning more fat) no more than 2 or 3 times a week, that should keep your muscle mass intact but, if your still gaining fat slowly bump up the time or frequency

Also, try five minutes of cardio before your workout, then pushing your sets closer together to try to maintain a higher heart rate.
