So, I'm a /b/tard trying to reform my lifestyle and get into shape. I'm 23, 6'1", 250lbs and no muscle. Up until now I've never really done any exercise in my life except for the demands of my job as a programmer.

So far I'm trying to drop any and all junk food from my diet and I'm starting to go for a 40 minute jog at least every other night. But I'm so out of shape it's more like a 5 minute jog with 35 minutes of breathing heavily and speed walking.

So, /fit/, anything else I should be doing to get my fat ass down to size?

When you're 'jogging', go as fast as you can for 30 seconds, or however long you can. Then recover slightly but keep moving. Then repeat.

Also don't just stop if you start feeling sick, at your level of fitness you have to go through some discomfort.
