Echoing what others have said about it probably being a UTI. You absolutely should see a doctor about it. If left untreated, a urinary tract infection can progress to a full-on kidney infection, which is more dangerous, more painful, and much harder to get rid of than what you have now. I get chronic UTIs, so I know how much they suck. Both Monistat and AZO make OTC urinary analgesics which will lessen the pain and the urinary frequency. Also, in my experience, my doctors have always been able to fit me into an appointment in a day or two for a possible UTI; if they can't a UTI or kidney stone are both things that would warrant visiting an urgent care or walk-in clinic.
