multivitamins Anonymous
so, multivitamins. i want to start taking small steps toward being healthier - i know quitting all my bad habits cold turkey is futile. should i be taking these? if so what would be recommended for like... a 23 year old skinny male twat?

I don't take multivitamins and I have seen no negative side-effects.

Saved a bit of money.

I take em. I feel better but I'm not sure if the have crazy benefits that I notice. But you need to fill the nutritional holes in your diet. Magic beans.

Not enough vitamins for an adult.

take with water and food, preferably a meal with some fat in it. Avoid taking with anything containing calcium (milk) as this will degrade zinc absorption

A nutritionist who posted here a while back taking questions said vitamins don't do jack shit, big BS industry.

Makes sense too. Your body will just tear them apart at the beginning stages of digestion and spit them out in liquid form asap. When they're part of food, they take a long time to show themselves / they become available in the intestines where they can actually be absorbed slow enough.

And you're going to believe someone posing to be a nutritionist on 4chan over a credible medical source?
