Biking Anonymous
I'm thinking about starting a biking routine in the mornings once it gets a bit warmer out.

What can /fit/ tell me about biking? Is it worth it? Will I see any kind of results from maybe 5-8 miles a day?

Depends on what kind of shape you're in right now. Odds are you'll see some results, and you will lose weight if you're eating correctly. Your legs will like it too.

I'm going to start biking too, when the weather gets better.
Just out of curiosity, are you going to bike around a neighborhood, or go to a certain destination? I live 3 miles from the beach, so I'm gonna bike ride there, maybe swim or have lunch on the sand, and bike back.

Its a ride to school (HS Senior) 4.8 miles each way. So it comes out to a bit under 10 miles each day.
