called HPPD I think,I've always had a lot of stuff like this,a visual snow, and sometimes certain colors seem to flicker and change like crazy after doing lots of acid
>> Anonymous
Theyre called floaters im pretty sure. I saw them on a poster at the optomitrist. Not sure if theyre very common, but i have them too.

I keep seeing the same one that's always S shaped, I've named it Sylas

AGH.
NOT AGAIN.

take a knife or something sharp and make an incision in your eyes, they will eventually wash out. if not repeat incision until fully drained.
>> Anonymous
I work at Lenscrafters and they're just protein strands in your eye. There's nothing you can do about them. I have a few floaters in my right eye.

proteins

sucks for college bio labs where you have to look into a microscope for 3 hours straight
>> Anonymous
damn you... I just became hyper aware of these things after looking at that picture
>> Anonymous
I've noticed these things a lot. Vitreous floaters; I heard they were very common, my mom said they were pre-diabetic signs so she could get me to quit drinking soda.

Oh wow I thought I was special because I had these. Guess I'm not.

our eyes are fucking FILLED with these little shits.

Our brain works overtime to filter them out but they will never really be gone. There have been reports of people who have recovered from detached retnas not having any or developping any, but that's because when you fix detached retnas you replace the vitreous fluid in your eyeballs.

If it's really fucking bad, go to a eye doc and tell them, it's an early symptom for retnal detachment and if caught early it might save your vision. Otherwise you'll have to pay through your ass to have them suck the goo out of your eyes and have your body naturally replace it after being filled with saline.
>> Anonymous
i complained about them a few years ago to my eye doc and he was you have PVD, posterior vitreous detachment

"alot of old people have them dunno why you have it @ 20 but whatever"

I have one that I've had for years. It's shaped almost like the flaming skull on the title screen of UN Squadron, so I like having it around.
>> Anonymous
Whoa, this shit is weird
I have not experienced this
BUT
when I close my eyes and look directly at a very bright light source, I can see the veins in the eyelids.....
>> Anonymous
>>320249
thanks

i always thought they were just minor tears in my eye caused by dirt from being a person who doesn't live in a bubble
>> Anonymous
Do you guys see these with your normal vision? Do you have to close your eyes?
>> Anonymous
Holy fuck, for the longest time I thought I'm the only person who has this shit.
Now I've read a bit about it, but I still don't know - are they very dangerous?
They're pretty much invisible to me, I can see them if I really stare into something for a long time.
>> Anonymous
Meh, floaties. Whats worse is the visual snow that I got to go with em. Oh well.
>> Anonymous
When I was young I used to see these all the time
I believe they're just particles in and on the surface of your eye, like minute strands of dust or something
>> Anonymous
I think I had maybe 3 really light ones.

So light, tiny and insignificant that I can't even find them now.
>> Anonymous
The worst part is: I have one that is a nigger
>> Anonymous
I can see them any time i want by simply squinting
>> Anonymous
I've never seen any of these
>> Anonymous
Those are the tiny particles of dust and debris that float through the air until landing on the surface of your eye. What you're seeing is them as the minute layer of fluid on your eyes(tears) whisks them away.

I seriously thought I was the only person in the world that had those things. I tried explaining it to people and they thought I was nuts. Now I'm kind of freaked out. I love you, 4chon.
>> Anonymous
they're bacteria living on your eye
