Hey /fit/

I've been hearing all kinds of people dissing my egg consumption - getting all up in my face about cholesterol.

Now, I think, in an avarage week I'd maybe eat (on avarage) 1-3 eggs a day. I think thats ok, but apparently not.

Second of all, and totally unrelated, is /fit/ cool with using cordial? Water on its own is boring as fuck.

Oh god can someone post the link about eggs that I just saw.
>> Anonymous
I read that, but it didn't mention anything about cholesterol specifically.

eating 3 eggs a day will not kill you

eating 3 eggs a day and doing no exercise at all will most not likely kill you faster

Oh I'm doing excercise. I know it won't kill me but I hadn't even given it a moments thoughts until people were all like "dude.. what?"

I've eaten a six-egg omelet every morning for the past year and every physical check-up I've gotten and anyone I've sought for advisement has said it's fine.

Those facts are coming from the same people that say taking vitamins are bad for you. Just shut up and eat your damn eggs

...Yes, I read that. Its talking about egg yolks versus egg whites, and thats not what I'm asking. I eat the whole dammn thing.

To the 6 egg omlette guy - thats what I plan to do. Thanks.

Also, throw in some cottage cheese and chives for added proteinz

I hear cottage cheese the best thing to eat before bed.

I ate 3 whole eggs a day for 2 months.
Went for a full check up with my twin brother.

My cholesterol level was lower than him. He does not trains or diets of course.

Most cordials have a load of undesirable preservatives and colours in. Stay away from those. Diluted fruit juice (squeeze yourself) or green tea are much better than cordials.
>> Anonymous
Not a big fan of green tea, might just have to stick with boring old water.

Thanks guys.

So, eggs good (as long as one works out) and cordial bad.

Do you guys fry your eggs?

If you are worried about cholesterol, take fish oil. Carlson's is a great brand. I like the liquid fish oil with lemon that has no fish taste whatsoever.

You can get a bottle for $14 which should last about a month or so.
vitaminshoppe.com has the best price, and an Amazon.com store

most of the time it's hardboiled
but if i do fry, it's at a low temperature with grassfed butter

There was a study that came out last year showing that the type of cholesterol in eggs doesn't actually effect your heart.

(But you can never really tell, these studies go back and forth. Look at milk for example)

Egg it easy. I'm lacto-ovo vegetarian (who occasionally eats fish) and I eat a ton of those little fuckers. Eggs fuckin rule.

Good. I'll continue eating a fuck ton of eggs.

this shouldnt even be a discussion

dietary cholest =/= blood cholest

i happily eat 8+ eggs a day for years and enjoy substantially below average cholest
