Dear /fit/,I've had strange knee and leg pains for about 2 years now, and while I only have a slight idea of how it started, I have no idea what I can do to fix it.During a weird phase of my life, I'd never change out of my pajamas and as a result, I'd wear slippers to school. They provided little to no support for my legs, which was an obvious transition from always wearing shoes. When I would come back from an entire day of walking around, I would have strange pain in my shin and ankles, and a very distinct pain right under my kneecaps. It doesn't feel muscular; more so joint, tendon, etc. related. The pain has been around for a good while. The pain is easy to ignore, strangely enough, when I'm moving around and running. I'm on an Ultimate Frisbee team and I'm able to ignore the pain when I'm running around and jumping to catch and shit, but after the games are over, I'm barely able to walk well.I was wondering if this is any sort of easily diagnosable problem, and if so, if you guys have any recommendations for what I should do. It's possible it's related to stiffness, because I rarely stretch. I'm about 183 lbs and 5'9, so while I have a large build, I'm not nearly big enough to start having weight related leg problems...I hope.I haven't visited a doctor, which now that I think about it, is kinda stupid, since this has been a long lasting issue.
emjoy ur physical therapy
you can try glucosamin and chondroitin.A bandage is fine too.Better shoes.Get your spine, hip and legs checked for length differences/ other problems.
oh yeah, biking is good for your knees. It keeps them working, lubes them, but doesn't put stress on them like running.

>>69643I'm like that so it isn't as weird as you may think.
Go see a fucking doctor. /fit/ can't diagnose your chronic knee pain.I hope you have good health coverage or live somewhere with free care.
