It worked out okay, but the problem is that (due to my calm nature) I had to remind myself to rage. I was basically raging in spurts during my workout. I would think of something to rage about and then 3 minutes later, I would notice that I was absorbed in my music, and no longer raging at all. How do I sustained my rage (especially considering that I start to get sort of euphoric while I'm exercising)?

Being 5'7", 122 and STILL having a little belly was really what put me over the edge, especially considering I've had all the resources and knowledge to change my damn life around for awhile.

First thing is first. Learn how to do everything properly. Proper technique is important to insure your safety.
Weight lifting is a full time job bro, train hard, eat right, sleep good, and hydrate. It's a lot more important than you might think.
Set realistic goals, and go in to the gym with a work out plan, it makes work outs run a bit smoother when you have an idea of what you want to get done.
