hey /fit/ i have a question

a friend of mine is currently on a "soup diet", which obviously means she's only consuming soup (i'm assuming some kind of vegetable soup). this has been going on for 2 weeks or so and she's dropped 7kg so far (~15lbs). as for me, i'm going about it by eating less and more healthy, and exercise. since she's rapidly losing and i'm not, of course i'm pretty envious and have thought about doing what she's doing.

when she starts eating normally again, will she put on back a lot of the weight she has lost? how bad is what she is doing for her body?

depends on her caloric intake. If she is consuming less than 1200, then you'll bet she'll take back her weight.
she is probably losing muscle more than you are, too.

She probably lost a fair amount of water weight and muscle in there. In six months I'd wager cash money that you will be better than her.

15lbs in 2 weeks? GIVE ME THE RECIPE, NOW.

Overall in the long run what youre doing is right and you'll be stronger. So why bother? She'll prolly gain that weight back anyway.

OP. do a wager with your friend but 50$ she'll gain back the weght and even more after she stops the diet.

You'll gain 50$

I also speak from experience. I used to be a fat fuck. I did a super diet (no breakfast, small sandwich for lunch, small dinner) for a month or two. I lost about 10 pounds.

Guess what? I gained it all back, and then some. And I never looked any better because I lost muscle along with the fat.

she is very, very sensitive about it, but i'm not sure why. we were talking earlier and she said "please don't tell anyone i'm doing this". it seems as if she knows it's bad but she's doing it anyway. if i place a bet, she'll probably fucking psyche.
