hi /fit/,
i just bought two of these hand grip things since my forearms are a bit skinny. however, my left forearm is slightly larger than my right. how can i compensate for this?

They won't build forearm mass, they're meant to improve grip. Deadlifts, pull-ups, and BB rows will build your forearms just fine.

Your left forearm will always be smaller than your right. Gain weight to compensate.

Actually I have almost the same hand grip,
excepted thats it can train each finger separately,
which is useful if you want to improve for guitar/climbing/...

It can actually train your forearm,
depends on the way you take it
and trains with it

Try different positions dude, and with your other hand,
press muscles on your arm to check which muscle is trained.
