Does /fit/ know the best way to get rid of or at least tone down the appearance of stretch marks?

I have stretch marks similar to this on my boobs, and dark reddish ones that have turned white on the sides of my waist.

I've googled extensively and the only things I've come up with are strivectin and also some form of surgery...

Does anyone else here have any other suggestions?

You could try getting a tan. Full-body spray-on like "Mystic Tan" should camo them a bit for you.

Don't tan, stretch marks are scars and are more noticable if you tan. Treat them like scars: moisturize daily, keep them away from the sun and they will fade over time.

A short term solution would be tinted moisturizer or body make-up.

Try some baby oil, it should soften up your skin. Also consider multivitamins, make sure your getting plenty of sleep to release your melatonin, and get a little vitamin D everyday (10-30 mins). Also, you can try Desitin. Its sold as for healing diaper rashes, but its probably the fastest ointment I ever used for healing up cuts.

Eat healthier, it is only through proper nutrition that your skin can repair itself.

That's what I always thought
I was at the beach a few weeks ago and got burned on my chest (which is now a tan) and it just made the white lines ... well as you said, more noticeable.

I'm going to try the Desitin stuff & baby oil.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

And even if stretch marks DID hurt (which they don't) I would probably still decline your offer. Politely, of course.

I thought pretty girls didn't exist on the internet. I can tell you're pretty because your upper body is shaped very elegantly. And yes, I already fapped. Your welcome.

Take liquid vitamin E capsules and break them over the marks. the vitamin E fades the makes faster and causes the skin to heal faster.

The Desitin is loaded with Vitamin E, because its main ingredient is Norwegian cod liver oil.
