sup /fit/, need some help here

i've recently hit a plateau but also broke through that plateau doubling my cardio by length and intensity and also incorporating more weight training into my routine

but I'm sore as fuck and find it hard to do the 2nd round of cardio daily, and even the first this morning was rough as fuck

so yea, how do I help these mussles recover faster other than protein shakes and ..protein

should I ice my legs for 5-10 minutes? ice bath?

Rest is as essential as working out.

this works, and I'm pretty sure the only reason I'm as sore as i am now is from the squats I did yesterday, and not doubling the cardio

a bit of cardio won't be bad, but don't do intensive cardio after squats, your torn muscles can't repair if you use them again.
