Hey /fit/

I'm overweight and beginning to get serious about getting in shape. Any good tips as far as exercising and working out? What are the best workouts I can do at home without using any weights/other specific exercise equipment. I'll be getting weights and possibly other equipment soon enough but I'm just looking for your best tips for a beginner.

Also want to change my diet, basically just drinking mostly water and trying to snack less and eat some healthy food. Any foods that are cheap, healthy, and still are filling and decent tasting?
