I've heard here the proteins are good after workouts. What's /fit/'s opinion on energy bars and protein bars? They seem to be too high in saturated fat to be healthy to me...

power bars are really junkyyou're better off with a glass of milk or yogurt or something.
Just drink a normal protein shake and add some maltodextrin if you need more carbs.
Power Bars are glorified candy bars IMO. Stick with Muscle Milk with an egg thrown in post-workout, and a PB&J an hour beforehand.
I like Pure Protein bars. Taste good and lots of protein and very low sugar.
