hey /fit/ i was wondering what are some good exercises i can do to maintain muscle strength and shit. i havent gone running for a while and im just wondering what exercises i can do in a short period time when i wake up or am going to bed.

is cardio very necessary and are there some cardio exercises i can do without leaving the house?

Well muscle won't show through a layer of fat.
Do aerobic exercise such as jogging, then muscle exercise.
Good exercises you're talking about are pushups, crunches, leg raises, pullups etc. Just stretch first if you've just gotten out of bed.
