im trying to lose weight but i cant stop eating shitty food. i dont consider myself fat i have a BMI of 22.5 but whenever its time to eat i cant stop eating food like burgers and fries. any suggestions on what to do to lose weight

try finding out what the healthiest thing on the menu (that you like) is, and only getting that. or get a small fries instead of a medium, etc. you could also try going to a healthier fast food place, like subway.

of course, that's not going to do all that much. what will REALLY help is to stop being a pussy and cook your own food.

If you like burgers try grill them at home, and making them with turkey instead of beef. Whole wheat buns and instead of French fries, I've found sweet potato fries to be delicious and a lot better for you. You don't need to fully cut them out just try to find healthier alternatives.

There are places to get healthy burgers. Hold all the sauces, have them slow-grill so more oil leaches out, load all the salad/tomato, eat with green beans or corn or something that isn't fried shit.

I understand where OP is coming from. I've tried to avoid manly making my meals large, and I totally stopped getting King sizes. Also a good idea would be not get combo meals and instead pick out some items off the menu and just drink water or tea or something.

I started taking my own lunch in to work... means I can keep working while eating, and I save a small fortune.

Also, learn to cook - it's really worthwhile. I now cook a lot of freezeable meals which only require microwaving - e.g. a shitload of bolognese sauce, portion up and freeze for when you can't be bothered cooking.

Also, drink tons of water during the day between meals.

OP, I too enjoy food - I enjoy all kinds of food (which is why I'm not losing as much as I want). Since December, I started eating healthy, and in the beginning of January I had my first fast food (Panda Express) which tasted HEAVENLY! However, I felt sick like 45 min later.

So when you start eating healthy for a while, you won't want to eat fast food anymore.

I also love fast food, i eat it all the time, although i walk alot and train some so i don't get fat, i just stay a little bit overweight, i have this problem quitting, im getting tempted.
