eggs are pretty much a miracle food.
they contain every vitamin and mineral needed to sustain life except vitamin c and each egg is only 75 calories.
your diet should consist of 2 dozen eggs and two oranges every day and nothing else except water
>> Anonymous
Pfft. I need oranges too? "Miracle food" my ass...

the choles in the yolks is supposed to be bad for old geezers, but not supposed to matter for youngsters. but i don't know jack shit. please verify.
>> ?suomynonA?
Tons of cholesterol too.
>> Anonymous
I heard that dietary cholesterol doesn't have any special effect. Can someone confirm or deny?
>> Anonymous
>>15486
reducing dietary cholesterol apparently has at the most a 3% difference is cholesterol levels. cholesterol is absolutely vital to metabolic function, so your liver will produce more to compensate. there are also two types of cholesterol, only one of which is linked to heart disease. this is not the type found in eggs.

so sounds like you read what i read. they're better for you than fucking sugar coated cancer-pops, that's for true.

problem is eggs are nutritionally very dense, so they're a big boost in energy intake. and excess energy = fat storage. in very fucking simple terms anyway. and people will cook them in unhealthy oils and further increase dietary energy intake and consumption of bad shit.

so eat your eggs, i say.

Do you have to drink them like crazy marathon people on tv? Or is scrambled with no additives the same thing?

If you don't suck at cooking poaching an egg uses no oils.
>> Anonymous
>>15507
i don't bother with rawr. either poached or fried in olive oil at low temp so the oil doesn't convert to shit. i just saw a baked egg recipe on tnation that i am going to try.

Hard/soft boiling is quite tastey too and pretty easy to do with mass qualities of eggs.

eggs seriously make me vomit :(

tons of eggs would be great until the sodium kills you

Friend of mine used to play football for OU. He trained with this mad scientist type out west in the off season.

Dude at one dozen raw eggs, blended with a little grape juice, three times a day. That was it, except for vitamin pills. He was a freak, physically. I've never had the balls to try it out, myself. I might this summer, to get my weight down before boot camp.

That said, good night mis/fit/s and God bless you all.

Anyone to say that eggs are unhealthy are wrong.
>> Anonymous
Eggs have just recently been scientifically proven to be healthy, and cholesterol to not be bad/cause heart disease (cant remember which) and it's infact the actual saturated fat that tends to go along with cholesterol that's bad, which eggs have a TINY TINY amount of, particularly in proportion to unsaturated fats
>> Anonymous
Solution? Egg beaters. No fat/carbs/cholesterol, and all the vits and minerals that are lost with the yoke are put back in. AND THEY DON'T TASTE LIKE REFINED ASS JUICE EITHER.
>> Anonymous
I actually there's many recent studies concluding that whole Eggs have more benefits then (potential) dangers like the amount cholesterol in them.
>> Anonymous
eggs are awesome, learn from nature, all carnivores and omnivores eat em.

How does that even work? 1 dozen eggs = ~75 * 12 calories = 900 calories plus grape juice daily. He had to be supplementing with something.

I usually have three scrambled eggs in the morning with onions, peppers, garlic powder, spinach, salsa, soy sauce, all sorts of shit, plus a bowl of blueberries. Beats cereal any fucking day of the week.

Awesome. I thought I was the only one who used soy sauce. I also use onions, when they're available.

And garlic powder, you say? I'll have to try that.

That was a dozen eggs three times a day. 2700 calories.

Given the gaseous emissions I create after eating two or three eggs, if I followed this diet I would be in violation of chemical and biological weapons bans.

I eat 4-6 eggs every day for the past 11 years, I love that shit. My LDL cholesterol levels are a tad higher than they should be but if you exercise every day, eggs are good fuel.

If you're a sedentery fatty, eggs aren't a wise choice--eat more low-calorie, high-volume foods like green vegetables. Use lean meats to help you get past the taste (a bite of chicken and 3 bites of raw spinach is good times)
