6'5" 175 pound guy that would like to get "bigger"

I have been eating right for a month (whole wheat, veggies, protein shakes etc etc) and working out 3 times a week (lots of weight, low reps) and I am patient, so I'm not complaining or going to give up.

My question is if I should be running at all. I know it burns precious calories (Strict college budget, can't eat all I want) but some people say you need it for your heart and just lifting doesn't give you muscles just makes you stronger.

Advice? How long before I see any progress on average?

I have same problem as OP
Im 6"4 and about same weight.

I'we started eating proteins, and next week ill start a high intensity program, ill go to the gym every day and try to push myself to the limit every time. So that i could gain, stregth and mass.

Im also thinking of eatin beef daily or something, chiken and pasta. Everything, and in buckets.

Also I was thinking about creatine... Yes/no?

Thoughts?

I put my protein in milk, but thats not near a gallon.. I guess I'll try to increase my milk intake.
