hey /fit/. I've been doing well on my diet for a week, but I think I just destroyed all my hard work by eating a big St. Patrick's day dinner and having a few cookies at the end.

I feel pretty full, and I'm afraid to step on teh scale tomorrow... any ideas to compensate for what I have done?

You ate it, there's no going back. Just remember that you've used up your cheating for a good, long time.

The obvious choice is to vomit it all up. Like, duh! I do it all the time!

I actually have tried vomiting up food before, but I just can't get it to work. Anyway, that's a bad idea and I'm older than that now.

It wasn't that bad. It was one dinner and a few cookies. If you did a good amount of cardio today and didn't over eat at lunch or breakfast, you're probably more than fine.

really......if you have kids or live with kids look for ipecac. its basically a "eat one meal for free" monopoly card of dieting.

3500 calories = 1 lb of fat
So lets say that you SHOULD eat about 2500 calories per day for your daily caloric upkeep. But you about 2000 calories per day to loose 1 pound every week.
You would have to have eaten 6000 calories to day to gain a pound of fat. And I doubt you put away 3500 calories for dinner. Don't worry about it, you should enjoy a little binge every now and then.

Hmmm yea, I actually did do my cardio today and ate properly the rest of the day. Good advice anon... well not so much advice... but good.
