>>299587 Well, the formula I used is the Harris Benedict Equation:
English BMR Formula Women: BMR = 655 + ( 4.35 x weight in pounds ) + ( 4.7 x height in inches ) - ( 4.7 x age in years )
Men: BMR = 66 + ( 6.23 x weight in pounds ) + ( 12.7 x height in inches ) - ( 6.8 x age in year )
Metric BMR Formula Women: BMR = 655 + ( 9.6 x weight in kilos ) + ( 1.8 x height in cm ) - ( 4.7 x age in years )
Men: BMR = 66 + ( 13.7 x weight in kilos ) + ( 5 x height in cm ) - ( 6.8 x age in years )
Now, you can just type it into google to get a quick answer. Now to calculate your total calorie needs you multiply the following to your BMR:
Sedentary -1.2 Lightly Active - 1.375 Moderately Active -1.55 Very Active - 1.725 Extra Active - 1.9
Now, from that amount, you need to subtract 500 in order to loose weight. To gain, you add 500. To maintain, eat your total calorie intake.
