Hey /fit/, couple of questions.

1: how can i identify the inflection point where i stop losing fat mass and start gaining muscle mass?

2: Instead of working to exhaustion and then giving a couple days of rest, can i just lift the heaviest weights i can for maybe... 2x5 and continue this every day? How much less effective is what I'm doing?

It doesn't matter wether you use light or heavy weights.

You need to rest.

PS: 2*5 of say bench press, press, squatz and deadlift is NOT an easy routine and you WILL feel like you've been ran over by a semi the first time you do something like that.
