Why come I weigh more when I exercise? I've asked people and all they give is excuses. I want to know exactly why I weigh 224lbs today after a week of exercises, when last week when I didn't exercise I only weighed 218lbs. I have PUT ON 6lbs by exercising. No, it's not because I'm eating more and don't realise it, don't give me that shit. There is a definite link between exercise and weighing more.

What is going on? Explain it /fit/. You know all about this sort of thing.

when you exercise, you tear muscle.

Torn muscle holds more water.

More water = heavier on scale.

i would say more muscle but you did not gain 6lbs of muscle in a week so either water or you're eating too much

When you weight yourself, are you doing it on the same day with the same environment as you did last time?
Make sure when you weight yourself, you do it on an empty stomach, and naked. That way you can be consistent in your weighing.
But in my opinion i would just stop using the weight scale. Just look in the mirror for results.
