Greetings /fit/,I'm trying to gain weight, plain and simple. If I'm doing the stronglifts routine 3 times a week, is it worth it to do HIIT on days in between my workouts, while saving 1 day to rest? Thanks.

According to the stronglifts FAQ, this will cause you to burn out. He recommends doing aerobic stuff after you are done with your stronglifts program.Not sure if I agree with this completely though.

OP here. So lets say I do stronglifts Monday, Wednesday and Friday, what exercises could I do on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday if at all? Or is it best if I just don't do anything for those days?
>>267784You won't need to, just rest, maybe do something light like a little swimming. Just make sure you eat right, lots of protein and complex carbs. I put on 20 pounds in 4 months with a 3 day routine, though it wasn't stronglifts.
