I'm on day 2 of my regime still going strong, but I have a question about leg strength/endurance. Whilist running, the first thing that seems to go is not my physical stamina, but my legs start to burn like hell, enough to make me want to stop (of course I don't but whatever), is there a way to jumpstart my legs by doing an anaerobic exercise targeting my thighs and calves?

Protip: That leg burning IS your physical stamina. You'll get past it. Day two is not a day to be making changes.

Not making changes, adding on. I don't want to have to feel this for longer than I have to obviously, so I'm trying to get ahead.

If its impossible just say so, and I'll deal with the pain as it comes and goes.

He did say so. Just do what you're doing and you'll get past it.

also, lactic acid buildup can cause you issues, keep strong on electrolytes.

these guys are right.. squats will build up your leg strength quite alot.
if you're aiming for fat burning, do the weights first, they target your major muscle groups (hamstrings, glutes and quads) and when you run it recruits the other smaller muscle groups and trains them.
don't change your plan. stick to it. and achieve your goals.
I think the most important thing about working out is sticking to it. no one else is going to make the gains for you

alright alright. Well I planned for my regime to be flexable, I basically have 2 hours a day in which I want to work out in. I decided starting on the treadmill is probably the fastest or almost the fastest way to lose the excess weight I have (I'm about 25 pounds overwieght) so I'm almost running 1:30 of that time away, and I have no idea what to do with that extra 30 minutes. By the time I'm done running/walking, I'd rather dedicate that extra 30 towards something other than my legs, but if doing something that would help me achieve that 1:30 without as much trouble, then I'll do it.
