sup /fit/ I needs some advice

I'm 19 6'1" and 190 lbs, picture related

Now that my spring semester is over I have time to actually work out. Mostly what I have been doing is running up and down my flight of stairs for 10 minutes in the morning and then doing the p90x ab ripper thing that was on here a while ago. But its fucking boring as shit and does nothing for my upper body and what not.

So I've decided to join a gym. But I have no idea for what I should do in the lines of a workout plan / diet.

Some help would be appreciated /fit/

Chest/Back/Shoulders should be your primary targets. Also work on your lower back. That'll straighten you out and help with the abs.

Seriously though check this shit out it's great. It's like exclusively shit you can do at home with no cost. Has tons of different work outs you can do, with pictures, and indepth explanations. It'll get you in the right mindset and teach you about dietary planning, and it's not a boring read.
