Hey /fit/
This is my first time here.
I thought it would be the best board to ask.
Could you guys give mea good list of anti-depressants and side-affects? I'm trying to decide which one would be good for me.
I'll be posting this on /r9k/ too, to see if they could help.

SSRI's (zoloft,prozac,lexapro,celexa,paxil lalalal etc.)

-nausea,headache,problems sleeping, upset stomach, delayed orgasm.these usually go away or lessen after a couple of weeks.

MAOI (nardil, aurorix etc)

-trembling maybe and you can't eat aged cheese, flava beans or drink red wine.really though, the side effects are not even noticable usually.

SNRI (duloxetine, efexor)

-same side effects as SSRI's, maybe a little worse but they're more effective.

Wellbutrin

-insomnia, nervousness and increased heart rate, all these also lessen in a couple of weeks.

Remeron

-apetite goes up and you get tired, maybe hallucinate if you're lucky.

TCA (elavil, anafranil)

-dry mouth, blurry vision, sleepiness, weight gain.

These are ones your doctor is most likely to prescribe, theres a bunch of others that have fallen out of fashion but are still used in some cases.also, cannabis is possible in some states in the u.s. i believe.
