Hey /fit/

Im a massive fat ass, I dont know how much I weigh, but Im sure it is no less than 300 pounds

However, I want to loose that shit, I want to get only SLIGHTLY overweight.. Im not going to be ridiculous and want to get super thin, but I simply want to loose some of my massive weight.

So, what should I do, what should m weigh tplan be, How often shoud I work on, how long should each session be? Should I use an eliptical? how much should I eat (calorie wise) each day, should I eat often but small, or few times but alot?

Fair enough. I should have worded it: Im in it to lose weight, I dont want to get super thin or anything, I dont wnt a plan that will get me thin fast. I just want something that will let me lose weight and help keep it off. My goal is 2 or 3 pounds a week.

The important thing is that you never give up, consistency is your best friend, consistency as in never get lazy and never take breaks. As you get used to working out/dieting/cardio more increase intensity so and so forth. just take it light. for now

All good suggestions, but I would add emphasis to the first one.

At times I've been over 100 pounds overweight but I can also get myself back in shape by just exercising. Running/cardio every morning or every other morning plus throw in weight training about two times a week and I've been able to whip myself into shape still eating the same shit and otherwise being as lazy as I normally am.

You need to start by googling BMR. Find that out and never eat more than that a day. You will immediately start losing weight being the tremendous fatass you are. Also, start cardio 45 minutes a day. Do it until you can't anymore and then rest and do it some more.

Hard work and dedication to your diet is the only way to save yourself now. You can be as skinny as you want if you put your mind to it. Set your goals week by week.

Thanks guys, Im just wondering, what are good foods to eat for each meal? I hear oatmeal is good as it gives you energy but has essentially no calories nor fat in it.

So what should I eat for break fast, for lunch and for dinner?

Also, here is my daily workout plan:

15-30 minutes of weight training (at the gym, about 15-30 minutes of weight training in addition at my house) and 30-45 minutes of elliptical training.

In addition I plan to do 50-100 push ups and 50-100 crunches every day.

I should also probably say that I'm cutting my calorie intake to 1200 a day, max. In addition to working out (where I lose about 500 calories per half hour of cardio) How much weight am I looking at losing, per week. (I'm working out 5 times a week.

I actually did not think cutting my calorie intake by 1000 and exercizing daily for an hour or so was harmful. Should I start of just dieting, exercizing 3 times a week and build from there?

if you're too lazy to read some nets, you're too lazy to do exercise

don't go below 1500cal/dy or you'll start to go into ketosis and your metabolism will drop massively, and as soon as you eat regular again, you'll balloon up in weight AND you'll have less muscle, so your metabolism will irretrievably be lowered

here's what's going to happen, if you actually have any will power tubby. First you're going to cut your calories way to much, and start doing way to much exercise. You'll keep this up for at most 6-12 weeks. At some point you will stop loosing weight. After two weeks of this happening you will become discourged and stop your routine. Now, the reason you've stopped loosing weight is because your body is freaking out and thinking that your starving, so it wont let you loose weight. Soon after this you will develop a strong, uncontrolable urge to eat, and you will eat. In doing this you will gain all the weight you lost back quite quickly.

Now, if you want to do this the right way you need to CHANGE YOUR WHOLE FUCKING LIFE. I bet you drink a lot of soda, well stop right now, and if you can't quit change over to diet. Water is better. Also, stop buying all that fast food. By cutting that out you remove a huge source of fat from your diet. Also, when you go to the grocery store go with a list and make sure that you are not hungry, because shopping hungry means you will buy whatever looks good. So, stick to your list. Now the best type of exercise for you is cardiovascular. You need to 45-60 minutes of cardio EVERYDAY. Your heart rate must get over about 140 depending on your age. If it's not that high you're not working hard enough. Then slowly add in SMALL WEIGHTS. DO NOT OVER DO IT WITH THE WEIGHTS YOU WILL BE SORE AND NOT WANT TO WORK OUT THE NEXT DAY. By doing these things you should be able to loose weight in a helthy and controled manner. But I'm sure you wont do this because youre nothing more then a fat tub of shit with no will power.

To be quite honest I dont eat more than 2000-2500 calories a day. The few times I do drink pop it is always diet and I dont much eat fast food, I always eat whole weat everything so that part wont be much of a problem


The weight thing, once again, should not be an issue. I've steddily been doing a tiny bit of weight trainingfor the last few months since my gym membership ran out last time. (I did not have enough money to renew it at the time.
