Hey /fit/fags, what are your favorite shoulder exercises?
Military press
Various flavors of pressing, all in front of the head, of course. Also lateral and front raises.
>>23313barbell or dumbell?
Dumbbell lateral raises will kick your ass.
Iron crosses, 25 lb
>>23337Truth
>>23333I thought military press was performed with barbell by default? If you do it with dumbbells it's just called shoulder press.. afaik.

>>23337My favorite shoulder exercise right there.
I do headstand pushups.
>>23479I used to know a gymnast who would do one-handed handstand pushups as part of his workout routine. We were in his doormroom giving him shit for it once, and he balanced one-handed on his bedpost and did ten pushups.
>>23499Holy fuck.
>>23518Yeah. We never gave him shit for it again. I've never met someone with a higher strength/size ratio.
>>23525Someone posted this the other day.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dD1iVMHNvrcI shat bricks.
>>23529They were kind of like that, except he didn't do the part where he brought his body parallel to the ground.
Hey OP,I recommend the seated rope row. Keep your back strait, pull the rope right at your face, then twist the rope outwards at the end.
OP's picture scares the shit out of me.

>>23554WTF...
On shoulder day I'll do military db, push press, frint, side, back lateral raises, upright rows, seated cable rows to neck, and shurgs on the smith machine.
>>23566isn't that overkill. i read that it's better if you keep the number of exercises low.
>>23579No, as long as you give them time to heal it'll be ok. Most of those are compound exercises.Of course if you're doing 3 sets of each, yeah, you'll kill your shoulders that way.
military presses + overhead shrugs + bent over rows
