I HATE THIS SHIT SO MUCH.
It's basically an eye dropper full of oil and takes 3 fucking hours to dry (I was in front of a fan for a while too) before I can even heat style it. It's gross and messy; half of it was running all over my forehead and on my nose. The leaflet thing that it's possible that hair can grow where ever it touches. COOL I GET TO BE CHEWBUCCA. And it's possible to grow a mustache.
My dermatologist is a fucking tool and said to use this stuff when he doesn't know why my hair is falling out. IT SAYS ON THE BOX DON'T USE IT IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE REASON FOR HAIR LOSS GOD DAMMIT. He wants me to use it for 3 months (box says it takes 4 months before anything happens, so like hell anything would happen by the time I see him again), while he tries to figure out if the reason for my hair loss is anything organic.
And if it isn't I'm going to have to use this stuff FOR THE REST OF MY FUCKING LIFE because if you stop using it, all your regrown hair will fall the fuck out again.

RAGERAGERAGERAGERAGERAGERAGE.

the majority of younger women with hair loss has to do with poor nutrition (ie. anorexia, bulimia). older women without eating disorders or undergoing chemo is due to genetics.

in other words, i can pretty much guarantee you know why you are losing hair.

how old are you OP? has your doctor checked your blood? it could be possibly that your body is lacking in a important vitamin, or that you're iron deficient. I had the same problem, my hair was shedding like crazy, couldn't comb/touch it hair was just shedding everywhere and on everything. turned out that I was low on iron. I took iron pills off and on for a year. but I saw results within the first week. Also see if baldness runs in your family among females. It may be genetic.

I'm 20, and my doctor just did blood tests so it's going to take a week before I know anything.
My hair does what you described. But for months I have been taking a multivitamin, that has 100% of my iron needs.
