get a real skateboard instead of a longboard... you could get a larger regular board or an old school kind with a square tail. I'm very sure that trying to pull moderately difficult tricks on a heavier board would qualify as HIIT... also longboarding will get boring... get an old school board if you must, with bigger wheels and swiss bearings, it will still go quicker than you're probably comfortable with and you won't be limited
