Greetings /fit/, I started losing hair around age 16 (I'm 18 now). The shedding has accelerated during the last couple months and has caused me significant frustration!
I was wondering what kind of lifestlyle changes I can make to slow down/remedy this problem.

Pic related, it's my head ;__;

doesn't male pattern baldness stem from the mothers side usually? take a look at your mom's peppep first.

not much you can do other then cutting of your balls

It comes from both parents.

To OP: I started losing my hair a little earlier than you. My advice is to be a man and take your baldness into your own hands. Shave it all off.

you're not so far gone that you couldn't start using rogaine and propecia, but those are both pricey. If it's worth it to you then I guess it won't matter too much, you'll just have to give up some other luxury like vidya gaems or your morning cup of starbucks

I'm in a somewhat similar boat.

My mother and father neither lost their hair, but as they got older it just got thinner.

My hair looks fine when it's clean, but when it's wet or dirty, I look like I was just outside the epicenter of Hiroshima the day the bomb dropped.

I tried home remedies first. Then I bought a laser comb. I was told it was working, but I could never stick to using it.

Recently bought Procede and minoxidil. You can get a 6 month supply of minoxidil from Amazon for 30 bucks. That's what I did.

Haven't tried them yet though. Other than that, maybe try some of those products that just make it *look* thicker?

Last resort: Hair transplant.

They basically cut off a flap of skin skin from the lower back of your head where the hair isn't thinning, and implant the hair follicles into the bald spots.

Guaranteed success: Get a wig or shave your head.

rogaine bitch. costco has it now, its only usable on the back of your head where a normal baldspot is.

otherwise save up for bosley so you can wash it, swim with it, comb it....

balding anon here too. now 24, i started very slowly losing when i turned 20.

funny thing is that nobody, living or deceased, in any part of my close/extended family is bald.

oh, but hey. i was an almost daily bulimic from 20-22, so yeah. that might be a factor. who the fuck knows if it'll get thick again or not.
