Okay /fit/, I need help with warts. Motherfucking warts.

I've had a few on my hand the last few years. I'm planning on going to the doctor to get them frozen as that's the only way that's ever worked for me.

I can't, however, find a direct answer on whether or not warts from your HANDS are transmittable to a girl's genitals. They are different strains, no?

Also, has anyone tried any methods such as duct tape or garlic that have worked 100%? If so, give details please.

On my index finger I believe a wart has taken over the side of the nail.. very irritating.. has anyone ever seen something like this? The nail basically grows white on the side like how it does on the top. Hopefully freezing it will work too...

Pic related, is my finger.

Yo OP, I had a serious problem with warts. I had them on my hands and they kept multiplying until I had at least nine of them. They were disgusting. I got them frozen off four times and they would appear to be gone, but then grow back. The old ones would be there, bigger than ever, and there would be new ones as well. It was horrible. Just before an-hero, the doc told me that he would try burning them off. He produced this awful new tool: some kind of medical soldering iron. He burned craters into my hand at all the wart locations, and the office reeked of burning human. The wounds were truly hideous, and I had to wear bandages all over my hands. I asked the doc, "will my hands have really bad scars?"
"Well," he told me, "you'll never be a hand model."
It was gross as hell. Today, several years later, I have discolored spots on my hands that are sort of numb where the warts were, but the scars aren't that bad. I never had a wart again. So if freezing works for you, super, but for me it took the more macho and extreme measure to get rid of the warts for good. Oh, and I don't know about transmitting them to girls whispering eyes. As if you touch girls, mis/fit/. Enjoy transmitting warts to your PENIS.

Oh yeah, one more thing OP. I did manage to get rid of a wart once with caster oil. I smeared it all over the wart whenever I could for a week, trying not to wipe the oil off, and at the end of the week it was gone with no scar or evidence or anything. I guess i drowned it. GL brother.

i have the exact same thing and its givin me the shits, got 7 on my left hand, tried freezing them off, getting them cut out by doc and still they grow back, the only 2 i managed to get off and stay off for over 3 months now, was copper sulphate, burns like a mother fucker but it just rapes them hard, 7 days of copper sulphate under waterproof bandage, changed daily with more copper to be added also and it was just a black scab and when i picked at it the whole core came out an left a neat little hole in my finger ^^

>the office reeked of burning human

Jeez! That sucks you had to resort to that. Removing warts at the expense of your hands.

Anyways, isnt there something from Dr. Scholls, I think, that has a wart remover? Maybe OP could try it.

Yeah, they sell solutions of salicylic acid. What it does it loosens the top layer of skin, so that it can be wiped off.

I had them really bad, all over my feet and a whole bunch on my left thumb. They stuck around for a couple years, and I tried everything from salicylic acid to banana peels. I eventually went and got the ones on my thumb burnt off with a laser, and the ones on my toes frozen off with liquid nitrogen. The doctor who did that went all out and I had the most painful blood blister on ym toe for two weeks, it really sucked. I eventually just got rid of them by having repeat visits with the doctor (about 4 I think) and the liquid nitrogen, although he went easier those times. I think all it really takes is those repeated treatments to really wake up your immune system and get rid of those warts, because really, it's your immune system that will ultimately have to get rid of those since there is no cure. Good luck.

Also, duct tape might work if they are small enough, but if they've really taken hold you'll need more powerful procedures. The over the counter methods are usually not as effective either.

This hurts like FUCK, but it works, so suck it up OP and follow these steps:

1. Go to the store and buy a bottle of Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar, some gauze and water proof bandaids.

2. Get a bowl and soak the area in full strength vinegar for HOURS. If the area is small enough, soak some gauze in the vinegar and put on a water proof bandaid. If you can cut the wart(s) to expose the insides of it, all the better.

3. After several hours the area should be water logged, but the wart should be much larger, swollen and white. This tells you it's working.

4. Repeat step two until the wart is gone. Keep vinegar on it 24/7. It stinks and stings, but it works.

It will hurt, a LOT, once the wart starts to die. Expect it. After the second or third application the warts will shrink and turn black, but that's just the top starting to die. Get some tweezers, dig the black out and do it again and again until you don't have anymore black. If you do it right, you shouldn't bleed at all.

This is the best treatment for Planters Warts because it's cheap and it doesn't destroy the skin or nails surrounding it. This works wonders on deep warts as long as you dig out the old stuff.

Expect to do it for a week or two, even my largest warts died in that time frame.
