Have your dad teach you.

1 Get Quads
2 Practice balancing and skating indoors
3 Take it outside
4 ?????
5 Profit!!!

Seriously though, I go to Family Night at the skating rink with my dad and sister and there are a few adults who use that time to learn, because there's barely anyone there. Also, it's less embarrassing to fall in front of kids than adults, IMO

Practice makes perfect?

Essentially you deal with it and learn. My ice skating is completely self taught from going to drop in hockey 3 or 4 times a week. Within a couple months I was able to do everything and now I actually play in a mens league.

You just have to be prepared to fall. Wear proper protection if needed so you don't hurt yourself while learning.

Simple momentum exercise. As momentum in a particular direction increases, movement in all other directions will decrease. So, point yourself down the steepest hill in town and go for it.
DO IT FAGGOT!!!

for serious, go to toys r us, buy a fucking skateboard, and stand on it. then add movement. ffs, this is fucking retarded.

Make sure your skates actually fit. You shouldn't be able to bend your ankle.
