i know i'm probably the 9000th person to ask but

how much different is a 'lean'-type body workout

compared to

a body builders workout?

is diet the same? more/less cardio? set vs rep alterations?

Well I don't know what I'm talking about, but I would think that a "lean-type" workout would have a emphasis on cardio, and MODERATE strength training. You would want to lower your body fat percentage, and do a full body workout. Maybe calisthenics would work for that, I don't know. Why are you asking this? Are you wanting to do a lean workout instead of getting XBOX HEUG?

A well-balanced and healthy diet is necessary.
Heavy emphasis on cardiovascular exercises.
Low sets, high reps.

You could try 12x12, but it gets pretty boring. I prefer 3x20 then adding 5 reps every week until you hit 100 then up the weight. Although our training probably doesn't overlap, you may be content to stick at 12-15.

hmm you probably just haven't gotten your growth spurt or in the middle of your growth spurt.....you should be careful it is possible to stunt your growth at your age....but don't worry about it i've seen some studies that correlate being a late bloomer with increased intelligence.....I personally didn't fully grow until i was 17 maybe even 17 and a half......but now i'm 27 and people think i'm 18 my father was the same way...when he was 40 everybody thought he was in his 20's and now he's almost 60 and i'd say he looks 40-45 my mother is 7 years younger and probably looks a little older....so fuck it just relax everything will work out in time buddy....
