What's the proper way to breath while cardioing?
I'm going to guess that it isn't the standard breathing (the kind you don't think about) and that it works for all cardio (running, biking, et cetera)

unrelated question:
is it bad to eat before bed?

I find that breathing with my stomach but without making it sticks out works best for me,and that when you breathe in your chest shouldn't rise and that you shouldn't exhale in the normal way but to press it out

Breathe through your nose as much as possible, but there's no "proper" way to breathe. Your body takes care of it automatically, so focus on something else.

also in the nose, out the mouth and breath in maybe 75 percent of what you could in a full breath and exhale to 25ish

I hear you're supposed to let air in through your nose, but not out. Then again it was a boxer tip... it may just be so that your face doesn't look all banged up after getting punched a bunch of times, heh.

Boxers try to control their breathing rate, while keeping as little air in their lungs at any given time; this makes for a more solid target. Anyways, it also keeps blood from blowing out on your face, and keeps you from inhaling the gallon of drool pooling up around your mouthpiece.

Best sport ever, though.
