I have been weightlifting for about 3 years so I think im moderately experienced if that helps at all.

I thought that only thursday was intensive enough on legs to require rest on them.

what do you suggest?

Personally don't think you should run on wensday, swimming is fine its not that heavy.

What did you do for 3 years?

Do you really need so many different exercises?

I don't have years of experience, but why not just do something like Bill Starr's 5x5:

Then add a few isolation exercises if something is lagging behind.

I've just been doing basic weightlifting with free weights. Before I used the same schedule my friends had but i made my own to target more specific muscle groups.

Thanks for the tip, but i have so many exercises b/c i lift until total muscle failure. when i started i could max out with only 1-2 exercises/muscle group but now i need higher weight + more exercises to even get sore.
Soreness is what you aim for b/c that means you caused alot of microtears in your muscle right? Or do i have that whole concept wrong?
