Hey /fit/

Typical fat guy here. 6'3" 325 lbs. I'm overweight, body shape somewhat like the guy in the pic (not quite so flabby). The thing is, I've been in the same shape since I was very young, I have been fat since I was 6 years old.

As I got older, my body remained roughly the same shape regardless of calorie intake or physical activity. I worked my ass off in P.E. in high school and never lost/gained any weight, and I didn't eat crap all day. I went on a diet about six months ago and lost about 10lbs before plateauing and forgetting about it.

I can cross my legs, jog, and do a half-assed push up. I can play sports. I'm not an anemic piece of shit, but I live a rather sedentary lifestyle. I eat like a normal person, not a dieting person, but I'm just fat and it sucks. I don't lose weight and I don't really gain it either.

I fucked up my left knee real bad three months ago and it's never fully healed back. Doing very strenuous activity with it could blow it out for good. How can I lose the fat suit I've worn my whole life?

no exercise for you sir, as the strain may cause heart problems, what you have to do first is diet, then once you lost a decent amount of weight, lets say youre 15-20 kgs from your ideal weight, then start doing cardio (jogging).

To find out what your ideal weight and how many calories you should eat everyday, google.com, many tables out there.

hope it helps.

count your calories, you sound like my girlfriends mom who is 5'5'' and almost 400lbs.

she says she cant lose weight and dosent eat that much, but i see her eat 5000 calorie meals all the time, at her weight she's eating between 10-15000 calories a day to maintain the weight shes at.

basically, eat 2000 calories a day and do 1 hour of walking or swimming a day and you should lose atleast 10 pounds a month, more than likely 15 pounds a month, BUT something tells me youll try for 2 or 3 weeks and give up again. Surgery is prolly your answer.
