Hey fit. Need halp with a few questions plz. I've lurked for a while but I'm starting a new routine and I like the input from here rather than stale msg boards/sites. I'm going to try starting strength. Has anyone had success with it? I've heard that you burn more fat by doing a body weight routine 12 hrs off from your workout. So I'm also going to do 3 sets of 15 pushups in the morning (then SS after work). Is this a mistake? And should I continue cardio while Starting? I've been doing HIIT jumprope 20 min on Tues, thurs, Sat. I don't want to lose my gains though. Also I've seen a few recipes for home made no bake protein bars on this site. If anyone has a favorite please share. After buying powder and creatine i don't feel like spending much more. Without going over board how much muscle can I gain in 10 weeks? I'm shooting for about 5 lbs
i doubt anyone can answer all those questions without specifically stating what kind of goals you're going for
Just general fitness. Will I negate my gains from starting strength if I also HIIT? And I'm looking to pack on as much muscle as possible by the beginning of november or so. Is Starting Strength the best way to achieve this?
