stay away from anything sweet. if youre not looking to get hammered, just have a few light beers, alcohol has 7 calories per gram compared to pure fat which is 9 calories per gram. there is roughly the same amount of alcohol in a beer, a shot, and normal glass of wine.
if your palette doesnt support beer, just get a vodka tonic or something.
theres no really healthy way to drink. (unless youre male and over the age of 45, in which case a glass of wine a day is beneficial for heart health) so dont do something retarded just because you think it might be a tad healthier. just relax, have a couple beers or a drink or two, and make sure to also order a glass of water. youre going to have to account for the extra calories no matter what you drink.
hangovers vary drastically from person to person. typically eating some food with the booze or stopping a few hours before you go to sleep and keeping yourself hydrated are a solid start to avoiding hangovers.
tldr: sweet drinks are for fags and girls, drink your drink and make up for it later at the gym.
