>>316697 You're slightly heavier than me, and slightly taller. So we're probably about the same. Start eating a little less each day. Try to leave maybe a fourth of your food on the plate, and save it for later. Start drinking just water, and drink a really good amount each day. Go out and walk 6 minutes, run 1, walk 6, run 1, for a half hour. Do this 3 times for one week. The next week, do 5 minutes walking, 2 minutes running for a half hour. The next week change it to 4 minutes/3 minutes. Keep going until you can do a half hour of running straight.
Also, get damn good running shoes.
And you'll get confidence as time goes on, don't worry so much about that. The more you worry, the worse it gets.
