What am I missing here? Do I need to lower my body fat? Get a tan? Get a haircut? Work on my forearms? Lose some of my "love handles"/work more on my obliques? What should I do to improve?

I'm already thinking about joining a gym to do squatz. I work out every other day with a 2.5 mile run and then an hour of free weights and followed by AB RIPPER X. I try to do lunges to replace squats because I don't have a squat bar, but I know it's not the same.

I've been considering strong lifts 5x5, but I don't know. I want to join a gym, but I don't have friends that would join a gym. Most of them don't really want to set aside the time to go.

I don't really follow a diet. I eat Rasin Bran every morning. I usually have leftover pasta from dinner and fruit or a salad and a yogurt...maybe some almonds. Then for dinner I have whatever is made...which is usually chicken and pasta or something like that and a salad and bread. Then I have some more almonds or something small before I go to bed.

I was considering a protein formula. I like the things I hear about the one in the shiny red jar...I don't really want to use creatine because I've heard it just fills your muscles with water...I don't really care to be huge, and I just don't think creatine is right for me.

I guess this is my /fit/ diet. Here's my cell phone picture with my face blotted out so that I won't get recognized because I try to be modest although I may not have much to be modest about or I may not be very modest about being modest.

By the way, check out my awesome paint skills.

Bigger delts and VERY SLIGHTLY lower bf% and you'd be pretty much perfect.

But really, just work on the delts.

This. Your deltoids are disproportionately small, but that's really the only problem I see here.

Yea, I guess I don't really do many exercises for my deltoids. I have a large workout rubber band that I got during my football years because I wanted to improve my throwing strength.

My dad told me to loop it around my door and basically use it as a resistance workout. I'll try to incorporate that again...Unless anyone has a better exercise.

I do curls, then push ups, just started doing dumbell flies, then forearm wrist rolls (with a little weight attached to a rope on a bar...and you roll it up), military press, bench press, tricep press, then lunges.

Oh, by the way...This picture was taken right after I worked out as most workout pictures are...But I am just saying that to make you aware that I had some sort of rip going on. So normally, my arms aren't as big. That may have to do with the deltoid/biceptricep disproportion. But I guess if I worked out my deltoids, the rip would be proportional too.

This is my /fit/ diary.

Look into anterior and lateral dumbbell raises, and some kind of inverted dumbbell flies. That should take care of your deltoids pretty perfectly.

You are one good looking dude.

I like your makeup bro. Suits you.

YOU!

Do you have a barbell? Power clean + front squats make a nice alternative to squats, until you join a gym.

Looking great. Some rounder shoulders would top it off.

Would.

Delts and arms. You just look really fit right now... the only thing standing between you and looking jacked is another 2" or so on shoulders and arms.

Where did you download Ab Ripper X?
>> Anonymous
a decent tan would probably be good for you

>>314699

No barbell, unfortunately. There's not really room for me to store the weights. I've got about 112 square feet to room in, house my computer, and house my workout equipment.
>>314992

I purchased my copy legally through the P90x program, but if I did happen to download illegally, I could have gotten it on thepiratebay.

I know, right? I wish I had a pool over this summer.

Work on traps and delts
>> Anonymous
You need to train your obliques, shoulders and then if you feel like it work up some further definition. Probably yer back aswell.
>> Anonymous
This is exactly what I fucking needed. I'm around your age, and I started losing my motivation a bit.
But now...it's fucking back. Thanks man.

Yes, obliques are a problem. In Ab Ripper X, they do oblique V ups, but I feel like I am doing them awkwardly. If anyone does Ab Ripper X and is reading this, are you supposed to have weight on your elbow/hand or is it only supposed to be on your hip? I looked up the proper technique, but it still seems confusing.

As for back, probably. I do military press (which I think works your back, no?) and I'm starting flies again (traps? Not really sure.). Maybe I should get a pull up bar. Does that work your back? And does the door have to be open on the ones that use the doorway? or do you hang it above the doorway?

Anyway, I don't know what I did, but you're welcome. This thread motivated me a little more as well. I'm as excited to work out tomorrow as I've ever been.

pic of back and wheels too?
>> Anonymous
What the fuck? You got to looking like that by doing a home workout program?

You have some good genetics, boy. You're gonna be huge.
>> Anonymous
>>315713

"boy" and "gonna be" is funny. I don't think I'm going to grow much. I'm already 18 and past puberty. I don't think it's really much to do with genetics either. It's mainly to do with wrestling for the last 10 years of my life. But who knows, maybe my growth isn't over.

Oh, and I don't know how I could pose for a back picture...I'll try tomorrow. Wheels? I'm guessing you mean my legs? Yea, tomorrow.

Bulk and cut, bulk and cut, bulk and cut.

You look as though you've been cutting for years and have never bulked.

Put some meat on that body.
>> Anonymous
>>316313

Yea, like I said...wrestling. And it wasn't good cutting either. I would cut about 10 pounds a week just to gain it back over the weekend. Dehydration, malnutrition...all that good stuff. I've been lurking and learning more about how to lose weight though, so I think I could cut better. I used to get about 1000 calories a day...maybe less...and go through 3 hours of practice...intense practice. It wasn't very healthy I know now.

>>316313here
Eh, that happens with most.
I can remember the shit I ate and what I put my body through... hahaha, oh wow.

You should bulk though, it gives great gains for a relatively short amount of time.
>> Anonymous
Based on randomly checking you out... you need bigger traps and pectorals.

i thought the same thing

>>316380

What are good trap exercises? I just started dumbell flies. I think that works traps...no?

>>316331
I think I could bulk...I'm looking into high protein drink mixes...I've seen some that are 1300+ calories. Adding that to my diet would probably make me start to gain weight.

As requested...legs and back...Legs, skinny, yes. Back, I don't know. I've never judged back.
