ITT: Sports that make you fit. By fit I don't mean just thin, I mean gaing some muscle too.

The only sport I can think of is surfing and that isn't really an option for me. So any other sports that are effective in this kind of way?

Pic related, surfer body.

Ummm... any?
Being in a sport usually requires some sort of training (aside from golf, tennis, things of that sort) in a gym.

This. Even in basketball the players will workout to gain mass because you'll never succeed in a sport being a scrawny douche.

He probably has, but surfing also tones your body naturally since you use your abs alot.

>>205998

You just ruled out all the "basic" sports that mose people play and of course they don't "tone" your body that way. What about swimming?

JERF MERF all footballers are required to use the team gym.

Soccer players have awesome legs. That is all.

I probably should've mentioned that I want to train my stomach and back primarily. Sports that do that would be awesome, and I already to go the gym.

I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet. In fact, I'm quite fucking appalled that it hasn't been mentioned yet. I guess I'll be the first to say it:

W R E S T L I N G. Greco-roman wrestling, submission wrestling, etc. Those sports get you in shape QUICK and you become extremely powerful in record time. Extremely competitive Brazilian Jiujitsu and Judo can also do the same. If you want proof, check out the picture or view these links:

Those guys are built like tanks and most(if not all) of them can control their bodies with amazing virtuosity.

By the way, that's Ricardo Arona. The guy's a fucking beast and he's undefeated in submission wrestling.

Constant ab work and back strain.

Thank you, exactly what I was looking for even though wrestling might be kinda hard to get in to.

But if you are really training for it you train all muscles.

MUAY THAI

- Endurance
- Speed
- Explosivity
- Most hardcore cardio workout EVER (if done properly)

You also get to see your flexibility progress when you kick.

Kickboxing owns.

Some type of martial arts maybe. When I was taking Hapkido (many years ago) I know developed good strong legs & back muscles.

So I've heard. Some of my friends was kick boxing a year ago but it became too much for them.

Hapkido is a joke, I took it for two years and its nothing compared to the fitness levels you get from other sports.

break dancing.

seriously when you're throwing your body around all day good results come out

Martial Arts. Depends on the style, of course (wrestling makes you buff, Yiquan probably doesn't). But martial arts is my answer.

Parkour. One of the two best bodyweight forms of exercise out there.
>> Anonymous
Parkour and martial arts are not sports you shit asses.

OP play rugby, but be warned it's a harsh sport. Imagine football in America, only without any padding whatsoever. Also it's legal to grind your steel cleats into other players faces. Are you a bad enough dude to handle it?

lol, beach califag here.

if you think that surfing will get you that body, good luck, because you're wrong. there's a LOT of surfers who are chunky/fatty/chubby. toned requires more than just surfing, and building muscle requires more.

try futbol.
>> Anonymous
It's true. Alot of surfers are fat and shit here.

Guys with builds like Paul Walker are usually naturally thin guys who work out, but don't eat like a body builder.

I have the same body type, I have to lift to keep it. With out lifting i become underweight.
