hey /fit/ is it safe to were a weighted vest for the entire day and what about wrist/ankle weights. I was thinking about "training" by wearing a weighted vest underneath my clothing. I've heard that if you were things like that for long periods it can cause problems in your joints but I plan to start off light and SLOWLY work my way up.So is it ok?
Yes, I wouldn't work out with one though, just wear it all day.

It's like making yourself fat. Vests are perfectly ok. I would wear it everywhere.Wrist and ankle weights are not ok though. Those can fuck with your joints.

Just take breaks and allow your body to rest every third day or so. Don't use it in conjunction with any hard labour and you should be fine.May want ankle weights aswell.
They're pretty good to begin with, but you're going to plateau eventually. At some point, you're going to need to move on to gravity rooms.

Not unless you're doing extreme physical training. Ankle/wrist weights are a joke, and a waste of time. Hard on your joints for minuscule, rapid gains that dissipate within minutes.
