ADD's a bit more than just distraction, it's a sort of mental block that hinders memory and organizational skills. I have to write constant reminders and notes to in order to remember to do things like pay the bills, or even eat. Sometimes it's because I forget, other times it's because I'm doing something else, that doesn't even have to be that interesting, and while in the back of my mind I know have to do that other task I can't pull away from whatever I'm doing. It's a little frustrating at times, and I never manage to finish a lot of personal projects, but it's not really life damaging. Except that one time my phone got cancelled because I kept forgetting to pay the bill.
