hey /fit/

i'm a pretty poor college student, and can only afford ramen for lunch. I try and spice it up with chili sauce to raise the metabolic rate of it. I also drink a quart of water. Can I do this and still stay /fit/?

No.

if anything, even if you're poor, bananas. Fucking bananas. cheap as fuck (upwards of $0.50 a pound) and decently filling.

But seriously, I'd use that as a temp relief. Get a better paying job, of friend to mooch off of.

not a chance OP. I ate these almost every night for my entire first year. Wasn't pretty.

You need to create a budget that incorporates proper nutrition.

i'm 5'7'' and 140 going for a lean muscular body. i'm actually going grocery shopping today, so create a mealplan for me that's nutritious, kind of cheap, and has somewhat of a variety.

fucking do it YOURSELF with some fucking research you faggot bitch. god I'm sick of all the new shits "hey /fit/ do this for me, tell me about this, design an entire workout/meal plan for me now even though my restrictions make it nearly impossible and I give too little information"

i used to eat ramen pretty much every day for lunch - then i realised it's made with oil and flour and deep fried in the factory. so will it make you lean? no..

also you didnt even fucking say please, it's not liek people enjoy doing mealplans for you. if you're poor and in college, maybe you should focus on getting through that and getting a proper job so you have enough money to do this /fit/ thing properly. otherwise you'll have done both half-arsed and not have much to show for it.

Can I live on, like, protein shakes and fruit juice if I can get all my micronutrients from supplements? Because I've always hated eating and viewed it as a chore, it would be nice if I could reduce the thought involved to the amount used filling up a car.

read that over, trying not to make yourself sound incredibly boring

I have better things to do than plan out my sources of chemical energy on a day to day basis.

JUST DON'T EAT AND YOU'LL FINALLY BE PRETTY!

buy a bag of rice
buy bags of non-instant boil noodles
buy bulk amounts of things like peas, carrots, beans, lean chicken breasts
invest in some good sauces, a skillet, etc

you're set! 40 cent meals.

Something cheap would be to buy black and pinto beans. Even organic they're like a buck a can, but I think bagged form tastes better (even if it's much longer to cook). Mix those with rice or eat with nachos and you've got a pretty tasty source of protein in a poor man's meal form. None of it's really fattening either.

Bananas, yes, are lovely and cheap and extremely good for you. I'd buy NO junk food and fruit and nuts instead. At least then if all you have all day is a snack, it was a healthy one.

Buy things on sale. 2 for 1, 50% off, etc. Go to multiple markets, drugstores, target and walmart. You'd be shocked what you get for cheap when doing this.

Bottle water isn't really expensive or cheap, but it's a good choice since it's healthy and you can take it anywhere. I used to do that on campus instead of buying it there, take my own with me (about two bottles) everywhere I go.

1 cup ramen noodles = 1 of Canned Tuna, cost wise

which would you have more? ones handful of hair thin noodles and MSG. other's best source of protein and Omega 3, 6.
