Has anyone here tried P90x? If so, what are your comments on this program?

I've actually started it, but now I am regretting it as my lats and pecs are extremely tender and sore. Does anyone have another effective schedule of P90x besides the classic schedule? I must also add that I am quite limited on time due to school.

Its ok, but Starting Strength or Stronglifts is better.

OP here.

I am limited on equipment, too. I only have dumbells and possibly resistance bands soon.

just keep it up! I've done one 'cycle', and it doesn't matter if you look like a drunk retard doing it slow or only half the reps he does; it's amazing how much progress you'll make in about 3 weeks. I also had no pullup bar for some of the exercises, you can substitute a broom handle across two clothes dressers... if all you did was the yoga for every workout, good things would start happening. though kenpo was my favorite.,,, Peace.

Find a gym.

Seriously it's all for shit if you don't use barbells. Dumbell's are nice, but you can't progress in small enough increments and it's hard to go heavy.

learn how exercise and nutrition works and you'll be much better off making your own routine than following something non-specialized

Thanks for the quick replies.

I have one last question: are there any methods to relieve muscle pain naturally, or is the only true option rest?

Tylenol and rest are cheapest.

You can also look into active release stuff such as massage or foam rollers.

Ah okay. Many thanks to all who contributed.

my brother in law lost a shit ton of weight doing it and now he's completely jacked out of his mind and doesn't have any idea what his bench is.

Of course, he was a fat shit and somehow got the motivation to do this thing an hour a day. Of course it'll work if you actually do it.
