>>46194 Uhh yes and no. What you said is true but when you use the bar you're developing your muscles to work together, as a team. Not to say you shouldn't do dumbbell presses, it's always good to include both in your workout but dumbbell presses are not a replacement for the classic bench press. Dumbbell presses require more from the arms to individually stabilize but if your focus is on the chest and overall upper body strength then the barbell bench press is the way to go.
