I need to do more chin ups. I can do only one dead hand pullup with a close grip, but I'd like to be able to do at least 8 dead hang chin ups with a wide grip. How can I get to this point? Using the manlier grip, I can do 2 sets of 8 with 20 lbs of assistance.tl;dr : How can I quickly increase my chin up numbers?

Don't use the assist machine you fag. Go to a playground and hit the monkey bars.

>>430664No.Chances are your muscles are strong enough to do more than one pullup, but your CNS isn't. Until your CNS catches up to your muscles, it's not a hard effort.
this question always gets asked, isnt the answer obvious? it doesnt matter how many reps/sets you do, just fucking DO MORE chin ups/pull ups and you WILL improve.
