I just lost about 40 pounds in 3 1/2 months. Is this too fast? I'm just doing cardio + weights + push/sit-ups every day. I'm eating a good amount, not too much. Lots of protein and fiber.

I'm just worried because my pecs haven't really tightened up and become solid all the time yet. They only become solid when I flex.

better a boney stick than a walking tub of lard if that's what you want to hear. You're probably making good time for such a short period.

?

I'm worried because I don't want flabby fatty pectoral muscles. I guess besides cardio-respritory fitness and feeling good, it is the main reason I'm doing this.

I guess from the lack of advice or anything helpful, I'll assume my pecs will continue to become more and more solid as my body fat decreases.

Protip: Most people cannot lose weight because THEY DO NOT EVEN TRY TO. You could lose a lot more than 40 pounds in 3½ months if you really put your back in it.
Muscles, however, require real work. Do note that the purpose of muscles is not to be hard like the erect penis of a virgin and, in fact, if your muscles are hard when not being strained in a manner which a specific muscle is designed for, you should see a doctor.

Just a few points:
One: If you didn't train specific muscles before, then they're not going to magically change in relation to weight lost.
Two: You sound a bit like a faggot - figuratively of course. Unless you're trying to become a professional bodybuilder or athlete, you don't need to use superscientific calculations. As a matter of fact, you don't really need to think about anything, just do your workouts in moderation.

Walk, jog or run. Do more streches. Train your entire body, or kill yourself.
>>Lots of protein and fiber.
Stop calculating shit and eat like a normal person. If you get complications from eating normal food in normal manner, then you're NOT eating normally and should be shot for thinking that you do.

50-60 lbs in 6 months is normal if you work hard. 40 in 3.5 months could occur if you were working hard, eating pure shit and really sedentary before, as a lot of your weight could have just been water and shit. The trick is to hope that most of that 40lbs is fat, if you're lifting moderately and doing tonnes of cardio that should ensure you lose mostly fat and keep muscle.

Whew, I almost raged before I realized that you are a gigantic pigdisgusting troll.

Apparently I should be shot for more than one reason. Great job.

That's pretty much the reaffirmation I wanted. Why I come to a bunch of unqualified kids for advice is beyond me. Guess I should seek out professionals.

Bye, /fit/. I would say it's been nice knowing you but-
