Mental health and IQ are conversely related.
For instance, John Nash, Friedrich Nietzsche, and Theodore Kaczynski are all famous for their genius, and for their spectacular insanity. This is not coincidental; as Foucault notes in Madness and Civilization, to say someone is mad is to say they deviate from accepted social perceptions - and how else could we describe brilliance, but as a similar deviation, but one that is recognized in retrospect as correct?
