I don't really work out much right now, some huge black guy at the community centre told me a long time ago to do situps pushups and squats so I do them whenever I feel like / remember to which is around 1-2 times a week. Right now I can do 35 sit-ups, followed by 15 pushups, then 30ish squats but I don't really improve or improve very slowly. I also play badminton in the weekends approximately every other week.
I do hope to start biking again as soon as it's warm enough. I used to bike regularly last year, and I felt like I could squat forever (like 80, before I get really bored). Now I feel pathetic when my thighs start burning at 30.
And I'm 178 cm tall without shoes on and weight 67 kg. So I'm not 'fat' unlike the majority of thread starters around here. I also don't have much muscle.
Anyway, getting side tracked.
Goal: 1) Eat healthier, 2) produce less fat and more muscle.
Get protein shake as snack, yay or nay?
Where should I buy them? (I want cheap.) Online? Walmart? Zellers?
I know I should look for whey protein isolates, but which brand / flavour tastes good and is cheap?
After reading 7-chan's FAQ, I'm also going to grab some multivitamins. Any recommendations on that is also welcomed.
