If occasionally i eat crap like burgers etc, does this had a detremental affect on my muscle mass?

I'm a bit concerned if eating burgers reduce by biceps etc.

Protein you get out of real food, like fish and chicken.

Depends on the the burger itself. If you are eatting Burger King or McDonald's or that ilk, you are pretty much getting a large amount of fat and carbs. These aren't bad things, but it's shitty when you are trying to cut fat. But, protein is protein and burgers is protein. Not a lot from most fast food joints when you compare it to the size of the burger itself.

Everything is fine if you exercize enough, 1 burger wont kill you and you really wont notice it.

If you never go out to eat / drink and wory that much about one meal how do you hope to get laid or have a social life? You can be as toned as you want and still never get layed because without going out there are no girls.

This guy is dead on. If you eat healthy 90% of the time, your fine. Burgers really arent THAT bad if you arent eating more than one every day. Think about, bread, carbs, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, etc... You have your meat, bread, and veggies right there. Just dont order a large fucking shake with super sized fries and its actually a pretty balanced meal.

Don't be so worried about it, balance, moderation, and variety.

Personally I eat whatever the fuck I want now that I'm trying to gain weight. Losing weight was very easy for me anyway, gaining weight isn't as easy.

The biggest problem with the burgers you get from mcdonalds and burger king and such is that the amount of proteins in comparison to the amount of carbs and fat is rather low. You might end up being full for a while and as a result eat less of the food that contains proteins.

Point being, either way: As long as you get the proteins and good carbs you need every day, all the junkfood in the world won't make much of a difference on musclemass. You will get fat, though.

I'm eating at Burger King once or twice a week. But I just eat one burger. I wonder if that is actually healthy, because if you look at a whopper the only bad ingredients are probably the bun and the sauce.
