You have no idea how much I identify with you, OP.
The only thing I can do once I start thinking about deviating from my diet is to remind myself (basically beg myself to remember) how bad I felt for the days that followed the last time I did it.
Fortunately, that's been enough lately, but I don't know how long it will last.
Also: "cheat meals" are bullshit because they aren't physically necessary (and thus not "ideal"). No matter WHAT, I could never feel justified; if I cheated on my diet, I'd feel awful, that's it... not vindicated, not satisfied, just awful.
