My problem was consistency and commitment, I would train ~2 times a week and still skip breakfast here and there.
What you need to do is join a gym, or get some free weights and a bench for yourself at home. start eating a lot more, eat more eggs, meat and tuna but make sure to include greens and cereal and such. All things in moderation for now. I wouldn't suggest cardio right now, if you're anything like me, you won't need to strip off any fat till later.
