cardio/shin splints Anonymous
soup /fit/ me and my gf are going to start down the road to being a bit more fit..im going to start running again..but she has problems with her joints (for lots of excersises) and thinks she gets shin splints from running..

i keep preaching no workout will work unless you sweat your ass off (running)...

i was just wondering what is a good intense cardio for her to do...or will the shin splints stop botherin her after she runs a few times

Anything that gets your heart rate into the 140bpm range is ideal for burning fat. If she can't run, have her ride a bike.

Try the eliptical at the gym.
I have patellar tendinitis and its really easy on the knees. Not having to pick your feet up also will eliminate pain from shin splints.
