yooo /fit/

i've been reading this board pretty religiously for the past month or so and decided to start eating healthy. i've cut out all bullshit from my diet (including ALL trans fat, HFCS, most sat fat, sugar, and still trying hard to cut out worthless carbs). I've been snacking on carrots when in a snacky mood and it's been great. I actually do feel healthier (as in not as tired all the time)

On top of that i've been running almost everyday. I run about a mile in 12 minutes (the fastest my treadmill will go, but i still sweat like shit when i get off it so i know i'm at least getting somewhat of a workout). It definitely gets my heartrate going at least.

The problem however is in the last month i've lost about 7 pounds. I feel like this isn't a healthy amount of weight to lose (considering i'm 5'11'' and 153 lbs). I'm still skinny fat because I really don't have access to a gym but am going to start onehundredpushups.com today.

I was wondering what you guys think - is this healthy? Am I on the right track? Will just doing this pushup routine make a difference as far as strength training?

Start a routine of.

5 sets of Pushups
3 sets of Pullups
5 sets of Bicycle Crunches
5 sets of Side Crunches
3 sets of Back extensions with legs raised
5sets of Heel raises
5 sets of Lunges
5 sets Bodyweight Squats

Find your max, and then do 2/3rds that each set. 30 seconds rest between each set, 2 minute between each exercise. No gym, no weights. Keep doing this for the next six weeks. In the mean time, either get money for the gym or research harder bodyweight exercises.

Push ups alone won't do it. If you want to tone your upper body, do pushups, chin ups, pull ups, and I suggest downloading ab ripper x.
