Is it a good thing to do weight training one day and cardio the next if I am looking to increase muscle mass?

Or should I do less cardio?

6ft 2, 185lbs btw

Well it is what I have been doing for the last 3 weeks.

Day 1- Stomach crunches and leg raises, Chin-ups with hands close and then hands apart
Day 2- 7 mile bike ride

I take in loads and loads of energy through tuna, eggs and rice.

And you count a 7 mile bike ride as cardio?

That takes 20 minutes, hardly enough time to reap the benefits of cardio.
