hey /fit/, what is the ideal way to work out?

What i mean is, say i plan on doing 3 sets of bench press. Would it be better to complete my 3 sets of bench press and then move on to my next exercise, or do one set of each exercise and repeat that 3 times?

3 Sets (i do 4 but hey) of each exercise.

what you're trying to determine here is whether you want normal sets or circuit training? amirite?

Sorry lol, then move on. Unless you are super-seting.
Then you do for eg.
Bicep. Tricep. Rest.
Bicep. Tricep. Rest.

But for starters just stick to one exercise.
