So /fit/.. I'm a compleat newbie on the whole training stuff... and yes it was a long time since i took my time jogging the local track.

But all that is about to change! A fresh start so to speak (girlfriend just dumped me, messed up my driving test about a week ago, and.. I'm out of work.. so everything seems kind of crappy). But not to take this opportunity to change my way of life would be a waste. Lets face it, I can sit on my crappy room feeling sorry for myself... or I can try to change!

So anyway, I was thinking on starting jogging again (about 4 miles a day). And I want to start a good full body workout aswell, what does /fit/ suggest?
any good sites on where i can properly learn how to do workouts and stuff, without hurting myself in the process? (I have some weights at home which i intend on using, I live out in nowhere so there is no chance for a professional gym:/ allthou I am willing to expand my personal "training room").
I'm also pretty interested in a good diet, around 1000-1200 Kcal a day (<- to much or to little?).

So to conclude:
A weekly training schedule, how do you do it, and for how long each session?
A good diet, that will help me loose the weight I have put on the last 2-3 years (which is allot!).
Suggestions on how to best get in to shape over all.
And most of all, MOTIVATION!!! how can i best motivate myself to not only get started with a good result, but also keep at it!

Anyway, all the help I can get will be useful, tnx.
