All right so I've never in my life really worked out... or really watched what I eat... sooo

I'm overweight.

Not morbidly obese but I don't want to get there either.

I'm 5'10" and about 180

I was wondering if you had any tips... What kind of things can I do at home that will help lose weight, should I DEFINITELY get a gym membership (I'm poor and would rather not pay the 150$ or so for the membership but if it would work a lot better...), and I've already started changing my eating habits. I've stopped with the junk food and I'm trying to make a meal plan so I have everything planned out and don't just make something unhealthy and quick.

Also I've been thinking... I usually don't eat Breakfast or Lunch (No time during the day), is it extremely unhealthy to the point where I should make a salad to take with for lunch and maybe grab a fruit for breakfast, or is it okay for me to continue skipping?

Maybe I'll play DDR constantly and loose so much weight it will be insane.... just kidding. -_-

Get up 20-30 minutes earlier so you can eat breakfast and pack a lunch. If you're not willing to do even that, then you won't be willing to do what it takes to get healthy, and should leave.

A salad or "maybe a fruit" is better than nothing, but it's not enough. You're not going to get healthy unless you eat.

I know right?

That's just recently. I started going to a new school and haven't had the time nor do I actually want to eat the food they serve.
I'll start getting foods for breakfast and lunch for sure then.

If you can, try to stay active all the time. If you eat too little, your metabolism slows down because your body tries to conserve food. You tire more easily, need more sleep, etc. By watching what you eat and doing daily cardio, even just a little, you should stay in good enough shape.
