Question about testicular cancer. When health websites mention a lump appearing, they say it appears on the testicle. Does this mean the testicle itself or anywhere in your scrotum? I was doing a self examination and when I got to the epididymis I felt a very small (smaller than a pea), soft bump. It was attached to the epididymis though, cuz when I pushed it, it moved freely w/ the epididymis (wasn't attached to the testicle). Should I get this checked out? Or is this just a part of my epididymis? Also: where do lumps form when you get testicular cancer?
Its normal. What you feel are the lumps where your sperm gets produced. I forgot the name. The sperm gets then stored in your testicles.
>>180514fuck i've been feeling sick all day about this shit (from nerves). i guess i'll just see if it changes in the next week or so.
could have an epididymal cyst. i have what i presume is a varicocele. you should still get checked out by a doctor, a testicular ultrasound is a harmless test and if you do have a mass, better to find it early
>>180514what the fuck are you talking about, idiot? sperm are PRODUCED in your testes. they start from: seminiferous tubules, go to the epididymis, then vas deferens, then ejaculatory duct, the urethra, then out teh penis.
funny story, i thought i had testicular cancer as well (when i was 17 no less after taking some biology classes). the lump behind my balls was actually just my epiddidymus! funny, no?i also heard that it's actually quite common for alot of men to mistake their epididymus to be testicle cancer.check it out if you want; its better to look like a tard than to have balls cancer
>>180585I'm 19 and had a Health 101 class last semester. The professor said that the lump would be very painful to touch, and also hard. After doing checks on myself I haven't found anything like that so it's all good.
I had the same problem and of course I wasn't to eager to go to the doc. But eventually I did go because I started to get pain and kept thinking about cancer. A good result from the doc beats ANY advice you get from the internet. I was so relieved when I got back from the doc.The checkup isn't painful or anything either.
>>180979you were experiencing pain but it wasn't cancer? what was it?
