Hey /fit/. I've decided to do a bit of exercise, maybe gain a little body mass...however, I was wondering: Is there anyway to do this with little to no equipment? I have nothing but a punching bag. So will pushups, situps, and jogging be enough (along with whatever use I can get out of the punching bag)? I really don't want to join a gym at the moment.

can you get sandbags or a pullup bar?

Do bodyweight exercises like pushups, pullups, squats, etc. You could also try to get a cheapish weight bench because nothing bulks you up like moving heavy objects besides Long John Silvers.

heavy bags are pretty good, keep ur wrists straight, don't just stand there and hit the bag though, kinda bob and weave a bit and keep your feet moving

A sandbag. Get one. Use it like a barbell and you'll be the GARest motherfucker around.

Yeah you can get pretty strong. It will be harder though.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll see about picking up a sandbag, and, as silly as this sounds, I have a tree out back perfect for pullups.

Is there some routine I should make, or frequency I should workout? Like, for the last week, whenever I've had free time, I'd do 10 pushups and 10 situps once every hour, ususally being 60 pushups and situps a day, and devoting about 15 minutes to the punching bag.

This website has a few good exercises that require no equipment or just cheap stuff (exercise ball, bungee cord, etc)
