Running for a mile isn't going to give you leg definition.
Even then, you want to put your body under as much stress as humanly possible. A three hundred pound Deadlift targets damn near every muscle in the body, not only the legs. That heavy of a compound movement will flush the body with testosterone, supporting growth. This is not something that will be achieved with curls.
Do not use machines, use free weights. Also fuck the situps/curls, do Full-Contact Twists. If you actually want a routine.
