Hey /fit/So I've reduced my calorie intake to about 1500-2000 calories daily and exercising 3 days a week for about and hour each of those days. I don't drink anything but water and about 80 ounces of water daily. My problem is that I weighed myself 1 week after I started and I've gained ten pounds. Is this normal?
How much sodium do you take in? It could be retaining all that water you drink. And if the content of what you eat is healthy, it's probably muscle mass.
Yes, my diet is low sodium.I'm doing mostly cardio with a little weight training here and there. Also, what can boost metabolism well? Naturally of course.
how much do you weigh? if you're working out for an hour a day then maybe you should eat more like 2000-2200 calories/day.
also what are you eating? lots of fruits and veggies, in small but many portions can boost your metabolism.

Continue exercise. limit calorie intake and increase number of meals. At least 6 small meals a day. That will boost metabolism
muscle weighs more than fat, fatty.Do you feel/look better?if yes, then who cares what the scale fucking says.
>>60169secondedwhen you're starting out you usually get extra weight from muscle as muscle weights about 3 times more than fat (density)get a BodyFat scale that way you can see how much you weight AND how much body fat you lost!
