Hi /fit/,

I've finally started a solid workout that I am fairly certain I will be able to maintain. Using mostly body weight as resistance.

It has been one week today, hitting the gym 6 times a week, 3 for lifting 3 for cardio. (I have nothing to do until mid September so it hasn't been a problem).

Anyway, my question is about cardio, the gym I goto is at an apartment complex.

-They have an elliptical type machine, it seems different then what I have used before. It seems to be missing some of the motion. Like a cross between a stair climber and full elliptical, still the most calories for time though.

-Standard treadmill
-Stair climber (though I think I am too tall to use it effectively)
-'Recumbent Bike' (I guess its called.)
-Upright bike

bike.

You should be doing at least 1 hour to an 1 1/2 hours of cardio if you want to lose weight.

Stick to 45-60 minutes of cardio. 60 or more you start getting lesser gains for more work.
