Hi fit, I need your advice on how to loose 20lbs in a health way by the end of june. I am wanting to go into the airforce and they said that i need to lose 20 lbs and im good. I have just started to run everyday and am getting a pool membership so i can swim on the days i dont run. But what else can i do. Also im not wanting to really add muscle just lose it.

Jump-ropes are good, running, swimming, biking, elliptical. Just keep your cardio up. Among that, drop your calorie intake by 500 a day. You should lose 4 to 8 pounds just like that. If you want to take it even further, drop 1000 a day... but only if you eat like 3000 a day now.

You're really gonna have to work your ass off, one way or another.

Should i also start taking multivitamins or any such thing or just eat mor vegies and baked chicken type stuff.

how tall are you/how much do you weight?

im asking because i did exactly this in 4 weeks and i was 5'11" 214 lbs. this is exactly what i did

I tried to run in the morning everyday. honestly i really slacked off on this, and it ended up being 2-3 times a week in the morning, but it was always somewhere between a 2.5 - 5 mile run.

for three consecutive days (they dont have to be consecutive) i had a 1-1.5 hour workout in which i just did calisthenics and some more running. just go for 100 pushups, 100 crunches/sit ups, leg lifts/flutter kicks, lunges, anything you find and like.

in terms of diet, i actually started eating more. it was exciting because i knew that i should never get that hunger feeling, and i felt like i was eating too much, yet the pounds still melted off. for breakfast my meals was yogurt, cereal, a bowl of fruit, a boiled egg, and water. for lunch i had a tuna/turkey sandwich or a salad with water. for my third meal it was usually just a salad with water, and for dinner i was eating rice, corn/carrots, and 1/4 chicken with water. i think the biggest thing is to drink loads of water (dont kill yourself), stay active, and try to keep out the simple sugars and needless fats.

in terms of multivitamins, i didnt take any, but i was eating fruits and veggies and i felt totally fine. more veggies and baked chicken is all good in my book

you'll be fine. the work i was doing was a boxing regimen (actually at the beginning of the 1-1.5 hour workouts we jump roped for 15 minutes or so) so if anything it should be good prep for air force. oh, and if 100 seems like a lot, just do like 20 and switch off with a different exercise, then come back to it. best of luck

So... give me a related example in parts of the chicken lol

Like, wings, breasts, what?

Or 1/4th of a boneless breast?

oh like, a quarter of the chicken, cut down the center, having one of the chickens two wings.

you can probably just use like one and a half to two boneless skinless chicken breasts, and youd be at about the same chicken content lol
