Alright so some friends of mine got the idea in my head that your body can only absorb a certain amount of protein in one sitting or else it just dumps the rest. Is this true?

Say i work out and take a 30g protein shake afterwards, would my body use all 30g or convert some into something else?

with that in mind it works a lot better to eat multiple smaller meals, break it up into 6-7 meals with 25-30g of protein in each one and then you'll be fine

exactly.
it's hard to find guys who do that though, with all your "Hungry-man" meals and stuff.
or they're too busy running around to actually eat how they're supposed to.

Not op, but awesome info anyways.
I just started an isolate, love that shit, mixes so easily!

inorite? it's a lot better than the chunky stuff.
ALSO. make sure to mix it with water, if you can stand the taste, or at the very very least skim milk. you don't wanna put more lactose into your protein shake than you have to.

if you eat it, it will get absorbed. however, your body can only absorb so much per hour. this doesnt mean everything extra just gets crapped out. if that were the case then we wouldnt have an obesity issue on our hands

I always mix with water, some double chocolate royale whey iso flex stuff, not half bad considering its usually with room temperature water.
I had a grueling full body workout today, should I take a spoonful before getting into bed? thats half a serving, about 19.5 grams of protein.

if you feel like it.
since it's an iso, it probably won't do a whole lot, but it can't hurt.
it'll probably just help your muscles repair over night.
does your protein have amino acids in it?
even just the bcaa's?

whey protein isolate, banaba leaf(corosolic acid),cocoa,protease 1 & 2, peptizyme SP, lactase, amylase,piperine extract

says its an excellent source of amino acids, balanced array of naturally occurring whey protein microfactions... low in lactose and carbs.
