/fit/, im here to ask some questions that i am confused about.

i hear mixed things about changing up your diet a lot and not working out too much. I usually lift weights for 20-30 minutes in the morning and then do HIIT for 20-30 minutes in the late afternoon. I usually have 2 days off a week. I have 6 meals a day, 3 are around 400-500 calories and the others are around 100-200. I eat healthy, lots of eggs, fiber cereal, oatmeal, fruit, tuna, chicken, other meat, tons of vegetables of all kinds, lots of salads, etc.

so, is this the way to do it? i want to gain muscle and stuff and i wasnt about switching routines and diet up.

I'm trying to do similar. You're doing the right thing with 6 meals a day every 3 hours.

Try following this as a workout guide:

Also lots here:

And healthy eating tips:

Good luck.

Oh and milk is meant to be good. I've been drinking a lot of that recently to try and bulk up. Make sure you're getting enough proteins.

I'm not an expert, just telling you what I've read :)

gaining muscle is about getting stronger, not switching it up. "switching it up" only impedes your progress.

pick a compound lift for each basic movement of the human body:
hip extension
squat
horizontal press
vertical press
horizontal pull
vertical pull

continue to add weight to these exercises bit by bit. over a number of weeks or months, you add say 50lbs to an exercise. your muscles have to get bigger to move that kind of weight, so long as you are eating a caloric excess.
