hi /fit/currently i'm 6'2 and 156 pounds. I'm not bony, but I'm pretty skinny and I'm unhappy with my frame. I'm going to start going to the gym starting tomorrow (schedule of tuesday/thursday/saturday/sunday)what do i need to do in addition to lifting to bulk up? i don't really care about having cut abs right now, i just want to be bigger, muscular, and healthier
eat more and better food
also, by healthier i just mean healthier appearance, my state of health is perfect right now
protein, protein and protein.did I mention protein?
>>67038my diet consists of fruits/vegetables with sandwiches and rice and fish, do i just need to start hogging down more? i also hear eggs are pretty awesome for weight gains, is there some specific type of egg or do i need to prepare them in a special way? i thought they were chock full of cholesterol
>>67042Not OP here, but what do you recommend for protein?
eggs, fish, milk, beef, pork, nutsi limit myself to max 1 yolk a day
chickens
need to eat muscles to build muscles pretty muchprobably end up taking powder if you are trying to get huge cause its too hard to eat like 10 eggs a day
hah, not op or>>67046here, but I bought some weight gainer yesterday actually. And one of those shaker things. Put in two scoops and an egg, but it didn't mix as well as id hoped. Little bits of egg white aren't pleasant. My advice... Use a blender.
op here againjust a picture of me for reference
>>67066I'd kill to be that "skinny".then again I'm about 100 pounds overweight
you need to start swimming
>>67067shut up>>67069no.Hit the weights, eat big, get biggerThat's all
>>67044Whole milk and red meat is a good source of protein if you don't mind a "dirty" bulk. If you're a hardgainer though you might think about it. I drink a gallon of milk a day when I'm bulking.
op: eat some fuckin beans
