I started only able to do 11 pushups, and I weighed 112 lbs (which is after an attempt to eat more to gain weight). Adding in bodyweight strength training gave me a big boost in weight gain. I'm now 117 lbs. This has been over a few months, and I haven't put an organized effort into it, so I'm very satisfied.

lol, I guess it does sound a bit strange. Like I said in my post I didn't use to lift for my legs since they get a pretty good workout at TKD. I haven't gained or lost any noticeable amount of fat, so logically all the muscle gains are in my upper body.

:'( I like working out muscle endurance. Trying to go for definition rather than power. Just doing this for my ongoing cut phase. When I've lost 15 more lbs I'll go for power.

Just a different form. Almost the same, targets different areas more/less than back squats. Harder though because of the form.

You're probably scared to add on more weight to your squats. I know they're hard but it's also easy to increase the weight on it. man up and do dem SQUATZ
>> Anonymous
>>296879
Yeah, you should pretty much assume anyone who puts their squat stats online isn't even squatting powerlifting legal unless they have video proof.
>> Anonymous
=/ I front-squat ATG maybe thats why its low..
Also form > reps, weight. Not trying to get thunder theighs. I'd rather be the guy doing 225 ATG than the moron with 405 doing half way.
>> Anonymous
I front squat only because I don't have a squat rack at home and have to pick that shit up off the bench press arms. Pretty intense to lock yourself up front into holding fucking 200 lb.
>> sasuke
>>296882
Is that so? Squats are pretty fun and challenging, sometime i love them sometime i only like them.

>>296884
a video would be good enough proof

>>296891
yes thats the spirit squats are more effective if you use weight you actually can handle.
>> Anonymous
>>296891
It's going to take years for you to get big legs. Don't worry about getting thunder thighs. Although I do agree with you on half squats. People doing half squats are cheating themselves.

>>296915
Well, on these boards, video proof wouldn't even cut it since anyone can pretend to be anyone.
