Hay guyz. I am overweight guy (by about 20 pounds)

wanna lose the fat, am already eating healthy and exercising, but no one can tell me for sure, how many calories should i fucking eat a day?

I do weight training shit, but I do it for muscles to lose weight, so I want a calorie intake that's optimal for weight loss without being anorexic. Please /fit/, i have googled this shit for the last hour and can not find an answer.

Shouldn't I eat a least 500 below my minimum intake, since i'm fairly sure that my exercise can't burn more than 200 calories that would mean i'd be fucking on a diet for the rest of my life to lose 20 pounds

It takes 3500 cals burned to lose a pound of fat, give or take a bit.

If you go for a 200 cal deficit, and burn 200 a day running or whatever, that's 3500/400 which is about 9 days to burn a pound of fat.

200 cals burned during exercise is not much, that's only about 12 mins fast jogging (about 7.5mph). Add another 12 mins at that speed and then you lose a pound in less than 6 days.

To become normal weight in less than 20 weeks is pretty good.

On the other hand, going too far under your intake is dangerous because you risk triggering starvation mode which will suppress your metabolism and make you lose muscle mass.
