I'm 30 pounds over weight. In the summer I live on a long stretch of road with barely any houses nearby and after lurking /fit/ for a few weeks I decided to get myself into shape or atleast into better health. So to get started I've been doing a running/walking routine down the road. You know, walking a little then running a little, just to get my body used to it because I've pretty much been doing nothing for years. But the thing is after running my thighs become red and really itchy to the point I have to stop because it hurts. So my question is, is it normal? Is it just because I've been doing nothing but sitting on my ass before now and I'm not used to it? Or is it something more serious?
sounds like chafing. something really common if you're a fatty. you should check out different walking bottoms, and also wear briefs instead of boxers.
No, I don't think it's that. It's more on the top of my thighs. And I noticed in the winter if I would run they'd do the same, get red and itchy but also swell.
perhaps irritation from what you're wearing?
