So /fit/... I'm thinking of trying polyphasic sleep. 20 minutes every 4 hours.

I'm wondering, how much would this increase my daily caloric requirements?

Probably increase. But it won't heal you up enough to exercise all out like normal sleep... just enough energy to get by.

Not OP, but this interests me.. what are the benefits of living like this?

1. Early Death
2. There is no two.

no, 2 is that you get 20 useable hours of every day.

OP won't make it past day 10 though. polyphasic sleep patterns are notoriously hard to train the body into, by day 6/7 your body will force itself to sleep.

how does your lazy ass have the time to sleep every 4 hours? don't you fucking work?

Well I mean if we're to go along this root you can always try "micronapping" apparently it's what astronauts used to do on the space station/shuttle.

30 second naps, every 30 minutes or so. I don't, I could just be high.

Ya, you are, Mr. AstroTits McAnalBeads. That would amount to 1 minute of sleep per hour. Or 24 minutes of sleep per day. Are you seriously this fucking stupid? It's actually slightly less when you consider the time spent napping subtracted from the available time.
