Howdy /fit/,
I am looking for images/guides of kinetherapeutic exercices to prevent/ease back pain. I used to do mézière and others but fell off the wagon and can't remember all of them any more.

Sedentary lifestyle, running 4 times a week between 7 and 9 miles. 167.2pounds 5.9". Losing fat reaaally slowly. Should start squats in the coming weeks. Don't feel any backpain while walking/running. But I have to sit in front of computer all day long :(

Am I the only one who thought of OPs pic as various sexual positions before realising?

Op, can you clarify where the back pain is? Is it lower back or upper back?

It is in the upper back. Located most of the time in the "dorsalgies" area. But sometimes it can spread a little or it can hurt somewhere else if I have been bending down to pick up stuff for a long time (then it's in the "lombalgie" area but it fades away quickly).

It starts to hurt when I have been sitting for some hours at the computer. Sometimes it's going to hurt when I get up and finally leave the desk. It's not pulsate(?) pain, more like discomfort. I remember some of those exercises were helpful.

Ask more if I wasn't specific enough or if I didn't answer correctly.

Alright, I'm not a doc or expert, but slipped discs in the chest region are very rare.
That's the good news.
The bad news is that it's probably a muscular problem.
Your muscles don't like the way you sit or sleep.
Change both situations if possible.
Consider a better bed and a better seat.
Try standing at work, etc.

If this is a muscular problem: is it safe to do some exercises to train those muscles ? Since I started running and eating healthier my legs muscles are leaner and more visible but the upper part of my body is still a chubby mess. Could my muscle back be weak and would it help posture changes if I train them ?

I would get it checked to be on the safe side.
An orthopedist and or a good masseur can help you out there.
If it is a muscular problem, training the back is a must.
In fact training the back is always a must if your spine is ok.
A strong back knows no pain and it will improve your posture and stabilize your spine.

There are a lot of exercises that target your back.
However these are NOT safe if there is something wrong with your spine.
Two things that come to mind are deadlifts and bent over rows.
Swimming and rowing if you want to do cardio.
Or climbing.

I'll go for swimming 'till I can get an appointment with a kine or a chiro. Thanks for the advice anon.
