How should one adjust their diet and workout regimen if they're an endomorph?
>> Anonymous
Less fat, more meals, smaller portions. Absolutely no junk or processed food. Only drink water. Do plenty of cardio. Keep weight training on a proper program.

If you do all this right, it is impossible not to lose weight. Don't let yourself think that by being an endomorph, it is natural that you should be fat. You can except the fat to start piling back on the moment you settle for an easy way out or a gimmick.

The same way as everybody else would.

No, you're not an endomorph, no one is. You just ate too much for too long with little exercise. That doesn't mean you have a body type prone to fat, you just stacked fat on your body.

Calories in < calories out = weight loss.

Working out... do cardio every day and weight training 3-4 days a week.

Not him, but metabolism is not as simple as:
>Calories in < calories out = weight loss.

If I suddenly started eating 1200 calories a day, my metabolism would slow down to the point where my weight loss (note I said weight loss, not necessarily just fat loss) would come to a halt.

Also, the idea that a calorie is a calorie is a calorie is flawed. If that were true, you could just eat 2000 calories of chocolate bars and with a sound exercise regimen, end up with six pack abs and 2% body fat. Starch, sugar, fat, protein are all metabolized differently.

I also forgot to mention individual differences in metabolism, which will be a factor in what sort of foods you should eat for optimal health.

You think OP's post is deserving of a statement so detailed? I think not.

I KNOW this stuff already and would be glad to give it to someone worthy. OP obviously isn't.

Actually, the halt in weight loss from such a calorie deficit is simply temporary. Maybe a week, tops. When you start into starvation mode, your body automatically begins making you feel more tired so that you sleep more to conserve energy. If your body is kept in calorie denial, it will eventually go hog wild on your fat and muscle stores and you will drop like 60 pounds in a month or two, very likely more.

Don't even say anything back. My girlfriend's sister was anorexic for over 7 years. Seen it all first hand. Watched her go from 145 pounds at about 15 to almost 80 pounds within six fucking months.
