I'm a little too busty Anonymous
Hey /fit/ 22 F here, sort of a newbie.

My problem is that I'm slim and healthy but my breasts are larger than I want and it strains my back. It's like my frame can't quite support them comfortably so I really on certain bras and even folding my arms a lot to prop them up.

I'm terrified on having surgery to decrease my size and I don't have much extra weight to spare by dieting, so what else can I try? I am also naturally shy and haven't really talked to anyone about this although I know I should.

Get into yoga. If your instructor is good he/she will be able to suggest different poses that will ease the tension in your back and strengthen the muscles. (sounds like a female would be easier for you to talk to)

Weight lift routines for your back muscles will also help.

And you can send me naked pictures of yourself so I can really get a better picture of how much help you need ^_^

My aunt had the exact same issue, and in the end just just had reduction surgery. She says it was the best decision she's ever made.

OP, strengthen your core, also do some light deadlifting.

Do deadlifts for heavy weight (don't reduce those things, plz). Get someone to show you how (someone who doesn't bodybuild, bodybuilders can't deadlift worth shit) if you can. If you can't, then find a copy of Power to the People! and check the DL form in that. There are other ways to do it but that is the safest way I have found. Essentially it tells you to push your butt back to keep your shins vertical as you lower to pick up the bar (keep them vertical throughout the whole lift). Don't look at the bar because if you look at it you're more than likely going to round your back. From there grab the bar (if it's real heavy and your grip can't handle it you can do one palm out and one palm facing you) and lift up with your back, not your arms. You of course don't start with a real heavy weight at first but girls underestimate themselves thinking they are going to look like Ronnie Coleman. As long as you train for strength (low reps, high intensity, plenty of rest between sets) you won't get any bulk. It's your lower back more than anything and this is the one surefire way to make it strong.

well, boobies are fat. so, cardio cures fat around the whole body. everyone here will say do lots of cardio. by increasing muscle mass, women naturally reduce fat.
