at what point...or rather how can one tell, when during your day your body has gone from burning the calories that you recently have consumed, to burning the stored calories that make up your body fat? being hungry cant be the only way of telling. and while I'm at it, how many calories should you consume when you are hungry to keep your body burning its body fat?

Proof? You are just making stuff up.

Not OP.

I've read that it takes about 30 mins of cardio to drain your glycogen storage. At this point your body will resort to using fat.
About being hungry: You should never feel hungry at all. 6 meals a day, constant supply.

If you feel hungry you're actually NOT burning fat reserves. The best way to lose weight is to be eating at least every two hours. If your body feels hungry, that means it feels like it's been too long since your last meal, and it'll actually STORE more fat.

Oh, and>>142363is pretty correct about the glycogen storage issue, but also keep in mind that your body can build more sarcoplasmic globules filled with glycogen as you do more cardio and other high rep exercises. That means that effectively, if you are an experienced athlete, you may have double or triple that storage.
