take a pain killer a day to relieve your heart of some of the work, or else ur gonna have a heart attack at age 45.

does your family have a history of high blood pressure? you should see a doctor, so he can get you on some meds.

>>422908

That's not high at all.

But you can eat less sodium and take potassium supplements.
>> Anonymous
Exercise a lot. I mean A LOT. After a year of weights and some running, my blood pressure was 115/70. After taking a supplement calling Forslean, it helps lower blood pressure while reducing fat and increasing testosterone levels... I was at 105/65 on it and I had to stop.

Are you ill? Well obviously you are with those numbers but I mean do you feel worse than normal? A somewhat fit 18 yo should have a resting pulse of 60 tops.

>systolic 144
>disatolic 93
>pulse 92

Pussy, I'm 160/100 even on prescribed medication and my BMI is 22. Sucks to be me.

cardiac medifag here

time for you to come in to see us
>> Anonymous
you need your heart tested. pulse rate of 92 at rest is a problem.

naw, it's safe up to 100

OP, don't worry all you have is pre-hypertension.

But if you have the time/money you can get your EKG done, then heart and belly USG, then urine tests.

And 80-90% of hypertension problems have no identifiable cause, mind you.

BP can be helped by more potassium and less sodium.

first. unless he's had 2 clinical measurements, his scores mean shit (white coat syndrome, random variation, etc)

hypertension is related to BP, NOT HR. please stop talking and adding lies to this thread.

hypertension, stage 1 = >140 SBP
>systolic 144
looks like we got a winrar
throw in your HR and age....wow. its going to suck to be you. like i said, time to go 2 cardiac clinic. considering lack of other obvious things (sendentary, obese, diabetuuz) wouldnt be surprised if you had a pathological dysfunction of heart/peripheral vascular system

>And 80-90% of hypertension problems have no identifiable cause, mind you.
its 95%, but in all honesty, thats just to make people feel 'good' about themselves. the amount of 300lb people i tell this to a day makes me sick. ("dont worry, its not your fault. 95% of vascular hypertension......")

Reading comprehension classes.
He said HR up to 100 is safe.
>> Anonymous
>>423027
>pathological dysfunction of heart/peripheral vascular system

Now you're just scaring him. As you said it could be white coat syndrome.

TRY IT YOURSELF

>OP, don't worry all you have is pre-hypertension

FACT
hypertension, stage 1 = >140 SBP
>systolic 144
looks like we got a winrar

also mr reading comprehension
tell me
when does HR = BP ?????
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM??????

the thing is, you are actually that retarded, and not just trolling. literally, how can you be so stupid and so full of yourself to try to correct a person who ACTUAL FUCKING WORKS IN CARDIAC REHAB on the most BASIC and fundamental aspects of the heart?

he did say
>my blood pressure is always through the roof
but i am not making a diagnosis (for that you need 2), but based on the situation and what i've seen before, it is likely what i wrote
>> Anonymous
OP here. i will definately go see a doctor.

>>423049
>when does HR = BP

I don't know where you read that.
Easy mr internet doctor, breathe and check your BP. Might start taking some meds. I heard losartanum and indapamidum work well together.

92=/=93, silly

Wow, it's so easy to troll medics...
And I thought they had some restraints.

>naw, it's safe up to 100 [hr]

see where the HR = BP statement came from?

apology accepted
>> Anonymous
>im in the infantry

and they accepted you with high blood pressure? my dad was knocked back from the (lol) German army because of high blood pressure.

you should be proud

cheers for you

you have done a great thing today. enjoy

>correct a person who ACTUAL FUCKING WORKS IN CARDIAC REHAB

because most doctors I met are egoistic idiots
>> Anonymous

Not the troll here, but I DO enjoy enraged people, who normally are so composed.
>> Anonymous
>>423070
phew. thankfully i'm not a doctor, so that zinger zips right over my head

here we go, name calling on doctor's that they are 'idiots'
this is going to go well
what next
that silly darwin
and fucking, evil "SCIENCE"?

i am normally composed? am i supposed to be upset? this is "teh Internets" if you cant remember, generally something people use to unwind (assuming you have something IRL…which I doubt most of /fit/ can say, as such, this becomes their only entry point into the ‘world’).
the OP had a legit issue, and was intentionally given misinformation, which is fair game i guess, so no foul there.
i capitalize to make more clear on the key words, for you ADD riddled miscreants.
i do get upset telling morbidly obese fucks that 'it isnt their fault' because we a 'positivist' clinic and support the fact that 'hey, at least they are IN the clinic, as opposed to eating', on the internet, anonymously, I couldn’t give a fucking shit
>> Anonymous
>>423083

No, just making wrong diagnoses and refusing to admit their error after getting other opinions.
>> Anonymous
>>423083
>thankfully i'm not a doctor

Oh I get it. It's like when a plumber works at a univeristy and thinks he's more educated than others.

OP should be checked out but you waving around heart disfunctions contributes to another truth about medics: You OVERDIAGNOSE us so we pay you more.
>> Anonymous
>>423091
I certainly know how that works

doctors, who at most have 1 class of 1 semester on 'general fitness/health' and came from a non-movement science undergrad circ
always go over my head, even though i DID do exercise physiology as an undergrad, and DO have post grad cert from NSCA and ACSM, because "they are a doctor" and know everything on all things with the body. my favorite is the perennial 'squats are bad for you knees and deadlifts are dangerous for your back, so stick to curls and raises, in machines' prescription.
CAVEAT: this is directed at doctor's who bullshit outside of their specialty. i don’t pretend to know the intricacies of open heart surgery, they shouldn't pretend to be Olympic-level S&C coaches.

>>423097

if OP DOES HAVE hypertension stage 1, at his stats (age, weight, etc)

that INHERENTLY MEANS that there is SOMETHING WRONG.

the younger, the more likely pathological, this issue is. if he was 60+, it comes w/the terroritory, he's 19 and
>my blood pressure is always through the roof

thanks for your opinion, whats your source of commentary? your 'feelings,' watching Grey's Anatomy?
i am done on this thread
>> Anonymous
How often do you smoke and drink coffee? That's what always had my HR racing
>> Anonymous
>>422974
um, that is fuckin high dude
>> Anonymous
I'm usually 112/80

after a coffee, I'm 140

did you have coffee prior to?

also, vagal manuaevers while you're getting your bp checked, if you're worried about passing a physical exam.

Start doing LSD drops every day. That'll cure it.
