I've been trying to find simple exercises to do around the apartment. I've been doing push-up's but the problem is that I can't keep my damn back straight when I raise. any suggestions?

If you're sagging in the middle, concentrate on sticking your butt up a bit. Chances are sticking it "up" will really just be setting it into place.

Use a mirror if you've got it, that helps the most.

Unfortunately, not that long. I can do it a little more than a minute

My goal is to improve on upper body exercises, as they have always been my weak point. VERY weak. I've never had any problems working the leg muscles and to a certain extent my abs. Anything in the arms--forget it.

If you can hold a minute then you should have no strenght issues keeping your back straight while doing pushups.

I guess you need a mirror for practise.

pushups, crunches, get an empty gallon jug and fill it with water or sand and do hundreds of reps of any certain exercise that the shape allows you to do, or just do however many reps until you cant lift it up anymore.

I have 10, 15 and 20 pound weights lying around the apartment. That's the general consensus I got, just didn't know if I was the only one who thought that way.

but anyways, you can only do so much at home before you plateau, so start looking for a local gym so that you'll have a bigger variety of free weights and machines.

thank you, it's what happens when you try and shave all the hair from your chest without realizing it just grows back darker and thicker. don't know why that one is waaay the fuck out there though
