Dear /fit/,

I've been taking a whey protein shake at night about an hour before bed. Is this bad? Or does it not matter?

When is the optimal time to drink whey shakes on off days?

sleeping is catabolic for our muscles, which means that they break down. . Breakfast, is quite literally a break in a fast. . and as we all know fasting depletes muscle strength and mass. .so taking a protein shake like Muscle Milk before bed is actually recommended.
