Hey guys, this'd be my first time ever posting on this board, but I hope you call all help me out.
Okay so about a day and a half ago I was at my girlfriends place or whatever, and she's having her bathroom renovated so of course there were planks of wood laying around and I STOOD ON A NAIL. Went straight through my fucking shoe into my foot, there is a scab so I know it punctured the skin. My question to you is, what are my chances of getting tetanus? I'm 16 and I'm not sure when I got a tetanus needle or if I even did at school.
But what are the chances of getting tetanus say if I hadn't had any previous vaccinations?

Please help guys I'm kind of worrying about it.

Well you obviously saw that I'm 16, so you might know also that I cannot drive, and my faggot arse parents won't/can't take me in.
Would you just answer the question if you can please and if you can't don't bother.
I'm not 100% fucking useless I'm pretty sure I've thought of going to the doctor already.

Thanks fag.

With an attitude like that no wonder your parents won't take you in.

Book a doctor's appointment in between lunchtime, or go to an after hours clinic by -gasp- bus.

You've probably had a tetanus shot in the past..
Don't ask here, go check wikipedia or something to see what the chances are.
Bottom line, if you're worried, at least CALL a doctor.
Also do you have pictures of GF plz?

your chance is very slim of getting tetanus. if you grew up in the united states or canada (and likely other western countries but I do not know for sure) than you have received several tetanus shots already, as part of your immunization as an infant, and likely upon your first year of grade school and possibly first year of high school (they do this in canada). your description implies that there was some blood and coagulation outside the wound. tetanus thrives in the bloodless closed puncture wound type. having said all of that, please go just get a tetanus shot to make sure. tetanus is just about the most painful and agonizing death that anyone could get. even a 1/10000 chance makes the simple, cheap shot worth it. for the record, puncture wounds are not the only types that warrant tetanus shots. any unclean laceration will get you one. nearly every hospital's SOP involves a tetanus shot for any procedure requiring stitches from a laceration or cut or abrasion, and certainly for preparation of surgery, etc. they are doing this as a precautionary measure, and so should you.
