If you're hitting the snooze while not even awake, set the clock across the room.

Make a conscious effort to walk, turn it off, and leave the bedroom. As long as you actually get out of there and the blood flows your body will take care of the rest.

I still need to do the leaving the bedroom part, as I just turn my alarm off and roll back into bed.

Do you mean trouble "waking up" after you've woken up? If thats so then go to the window and stare outside in the sun. That gets rid of the melatonin in your bloodstream and you'll be more or less fully awake. Its reactive to light.

I have the same problem, OP. I also feel like shit when I wake up for ~30mins, and then I finally start to properly wake up.

Doing a bit of exercise will help too. It's hard. But theres nothing pleasant about waking up, theres no easy way to do it.

Even after doing this, I am still able to go right back to sleep. I had a pretty long room too.

Dear OP,
Have you tried biphasic or polyphasic sleep yet?

In that case buy a floodlight and keep it in your room. They have special rooms filled with lights on submarines to keep Sailors from developing seasonal affective disorder.

waking up is will power.

go to sleep earlier, set your alarm to a certain time and keep to it NO MATTER WHAT.

nap in the day for only 1 hour if you really need to, do about 10-15 minutes of cardio when you get up. do this every day.

jack off as soon as you wake, does the trick

I like to save faping for night time, if that makes any sense.

I used to have the same problem until recently. The change was angling the blinds so light would come through in the morning. Apparently this exposure helps, as I believe some others have posted

Even if its cloudy it will still work, just not as quickly, or you could also try the artifical light method.

As for the different methods of sleep i think its when you break your sleeping up into a series of naps, rather than in one long go.
