But honestly, I'm still a little confused. I read this earlier: "There was a 41% increase in risk of being overweight for every can or bottle of diet soft drink a person consumes each day." But it's kind of like the chicken and the egg - Does diet soda cause obesity? Or does being obese cause you to drink diet soda?
Anyway, even if it is true that splenda or other things like that stimulate the appetite, it's just a matter of self control.
