Question about cutting:

I want to go on an insane cut and get my body fat down from 14% to 10% by Christmas, through a combination of heavy dieting and daily cardio. But obviously I want to avoid the dreaded muscle loss.

So I figured, if I do a light lifting session every few days (Maybe two exercises per muscle group, low weight high reps) and take my usual dosage of protein shakes every day, will I be able to avoid, atleast to some extent, losing muscle? If not, is there a better way?

daily cardio is bad in general. just cut back 500 calories from your diet and lift with more intensity. you should only be doing cardio 3-4 times a week at most.
