This is one of the main reason people who tries to lose weight by eating salad fails. With this in mind, if you cut the additives such as sugar, butter, oil and so on you can actually have more whole foods which will in turn makes you feel more full and have less of a craving.
and lastly yes i know a piece of fried chicken with ranch sauce taste 10x better then a piece of lightly seasoned chicken but if you want to lose weight/fat then drop those extra additive you add to food.
