To get more cardio stamina, what's more effective? HIIT every time you exercise, a normal jogging routine for extended periods, or some sort of combo? I'm pretty interested in distance running.

Lol @ ops picture.

I think it has to be said that the more affluent states like California and the northeast are correct. It's not called coke or pop. GET THAT THROUGH YOUR THICK INBRED HEADS.

I remember before the civil war, everyone in my town called it soda-pop. It sucks being old.

Fuck you California why don't you go surf some more or wait maybe you can snowboard in the same day, fuck your dumb state with its options. Moderation, do both but in cycles so your body can get some benefit. I have no scientific base for this, it just seems neat. You could always just see what is effective by doing it

Go get me a coke...
What kind?

I hate hearing that every time I ask for a Coca-Cola.

ive wondered as well if pure HIIT is best, or if you can gain even more by doing a mixture of HIIT as well as throwing some extended running sessions into the mix

For improving stamina, I've heard a few series of HIIT a week followed by one or two long distance runs for about 1,5 or 2 hours in medium pace will be best. The HIIT is to improve your muscles' ability to take in the limited oxygen it gets, while the long distance is for allowing your lungs to follow your muscles' progress; that is to say, expand your lung capacity.

It makes sense to me.

Just keep your heartrate high (at least 70% of max) during your cardio workout. That tends to increase cardio stamina.
