hey /fit/, fatass here

starting weight this month: 290lbs
current weight: 270lbs

im eating less, and walking everyday

im planning on starting light jogging as soon as my inner thighs stop rubbing together

are there any advantages/disadvantages from jogging on grass or pavement?

Grass can be slippery if it rained recently.
If you fall on pavement you're more likely to have bruises.

Yeah. Pavement will fuck your knees up HARDCORE.

The human body isn't meant to take that much force pounding onto your ankles and knees repeatedly for that long. After a few years (or even a few months, depending on your body), you won't be able to run again.

If you can, run on grass. The absolute best is running on sand, though.

Hey another fatass. How's it going? If you want a way to stop the rubbing of your thighs you can get some boxer briefs. You just have to find the ones that don't ride up your crack. They work well for me.

If you're going to jog at that weight you need to learn to run properly. Run on the balls of your feet, not your heels, otherwise you can develop joint problems in your knees and hips.

With regard to running on pavement or grass I haven't really encountered any problems on either. I prefer grass though if it's dry.

what about a combination of on the pavement some days and on the grass other days
