Hi Anon,

I know there is no easy way to lose weight, and I have no trust in these websites that have the "secret to lose weight" that only make you lose cash...
I have lowered the amount of what I eat, and not really increased exercise. I'm still losing weight but very slowly (1 lb per 1 month for the last 7 months, but I still have 45-50 to go...), and the family eat a lot of pasta...

I still drink probably too much (6-8 pints of beer a week), no spirits any more though I should probably inverse, stopping beer and drinking 6-8 glasses of vodka or gin instead.

What would be the best breakfast and lunch food as not to die of hunger at 11 AM and 4 PM, and any "l33t sekret" ideas of losing the flab faster other than the gym (which are either too expensive or too far away)?

You aren't going to die of hunger by just eating less.
What you have going now, is alright, but since you want to speed you your process, you need to not necessarily eat less, but consume less calories.

Buy some lean ground turkey, sliced turkey breast, chicken breast, tuna, etc...

They keep me full for the most part, but that really just depends on your self control.

you need to exercise! jump rope, sprints, jog, hike, pullups/chinups, pushups, crunches, they can be done anywhere!

eggs and oats for breakfast
eat your pasta for lunch
make your own dinner, but you can still eat with your family! (chicken!)

kicking alcohol is hard, but try drinking water when youre out. Its your health, you have to make the choices!

You should probably eat more food, just lower calories in those foods.

Try and spread it out over 6 meals, i order to speed up your metabolism

Lean meats and fish noted - lunch will be made by myself (we have a decent office kitchen), and eat with the family.
Getting my ass into gear to go and do PE is going to be interesting... but that is the best part of burning this crud off ;)

6 smaller meals rather than 3 main ones? That would be easier to work with... That would free up my lunch hour too to go biking for an hour or so around the office, as time is the main problem (isn't it always!).

Most of the calories in alcohol are in the ethanol itself so changing alcohol type (beer to spirit) isn't going to help you all that much
