I can't seem to gain weight /fit/, I constantly eat fatty foods and drink Sustagen 3 times a day, I must have a metabolism that goes at the speed of light.

I'm 18 years old and at about 62kg (136.7 pounds) - what would you recommend?

Im in the same boat as you. Eating is the key. Work out, lift heavy. Eat egg whites, a lot of them, and oatmeal. Cheap, and effective. Im doin 6 egg whites in the morning + oatmeal, 6 egg whites and oatmeal at night before bed. What you do in between is up to you. Turkey burgers are nice, tuna sandwhiches, PB & J, etc. The weight will come, slowly but surely

This. Healthy foods in large amounts. No empty calories (chips, chocolate). Although I hear ice cream is a good way to gain weight.

If anything you'll look better. I can't manage to put on muscle and fat simultaneously, and just replace existing fat with muscle, and it looks pretty nice. Currently eating about 3,500 calories per day (BMR is 2,800).

and also, cut out sugar and junk food, replace it with loads of meat, pasta, milk and veggies. Eat 5-6 times a day, do a food diary of what you're eating, and keep it for a few weeks. If you don't gain weight then just eat more, and limit the cardio work you do.

I cant seem to lose weight. I exercise 3 times a day and eat 1400 cals. lets swap OP.

I had the same problem, forget trying to gain fat weight and start building muscle.

Whatever you do, don't just "moar food". Gaining more fat is useful for nothing at all - it's muscle you want. I myself don't have any muscle, and no fat either, while I'm 18 years old. Of course, I'm only 60 kg as well, but that doesn't mean I'm not healthy - I'm just not strong.

tl;dr: don't eat fat - grow muscle.
