I'm skinny... people always tell me how skinny I am. But I am also quite tall. Anyways my question is would I be able to get tone if I started drinking lot's of that protein powder and working out a couple day's a week. Is there anything else I should do? Do any of you have stories how you used to be skinny?

Pic related. Jesus is probably more tone then me.

i feel for ya. as a fellow skinny, i know the woes of not gaining weight. i don't eat that much, but i should still weigh more than i do.

sadly, this is our body type, and we'll never get big and bulky, but skinny guys can get toned, so just work out and yeah, eat protein shakes/powders w/e.

OP here. I weigh 140 lb and am about 6 foot 1. When I look down there is this bone on the back of my neck that sticks out like a spike.

3 inches is a much larger difference then 20lbs.

the problem is not so much you not working out, you need to eat more. as much as you can all the time.

I'm kind of in the same boat, I'm 6'5" and 165. I have some decent leg thickness, but my upperbody is skinny. You can see my ribs through my shirt, if it's not loose. I'm going to use a little sand resistant bag to help with my arms. That way I'll always have some weight on them and could build up slowly as well as hitting the weights a bit more.

I used to be fairly skinny, I'm 6'3 and I weighed about 68-69 kgs (no idea what that is in pounds, about 155?). I've been going to the gym for about 2-3 months and now I'm at roughly 76-77 kgs (170 pounds) I haven't had any protein powder just some food when I get back. Trust me, go to the gym its really rewarding.

Potein powder will just hurt you if you take it without a proper workout. It's best within an hour after you exercise because that's when your muscles will absorb the most protein.
Don't use too much of the protein powder though, I don't think that overly buff is a good look for you.

You should eat at least 140 grams of protein per day. Eat chicken breast, eggs, drink milk, also supplement this with whey protein powder. Make sure to eat a carb-rich meal after your workout.

For skinny people, the problem isn't eating more, usually. It's just a fast metabolism.
