my body post #2 Anonymous
Okay, here's a better pic.

what do you think?
I want to tighten and firm my thighs/butt a bit, and I wish I could get boobs, but no matter how hard I try, it doesn't work.

so.. am I a ectomorph, mesomorph or endo?
and what should I be doing to myself to get fit, /fit/?
>> ?suomynonA?
spot reduction, no such thing, etc
>> Anonymous
OP here, yeah I know about no-such-thing spot reduction, etc. I just wanted to know if there were ways to firm up the muscle - and what I should be doing as far as exercises go. I have a really hard time w/ muscle definition and gain
>> Anonymous
Uhh.

First of all, you can't get boobs by exercising, hun. They're mostly fat and shit. Have you been thinking pectorals or something are going to emphasize them?

What exactly have you been trying?
>> Anonymous
I've been trying mostly cardio - and I've done push-ups, little things like that. I also tried gaining weight to get the boobs, but that was just ick.
>> Anonymous
what the fuck are you on about. you are already fit. most girls would kill to get a body like that.

agreed. stfu

Putting on a little bit of pectoral muscle will push your boobs out a little. I think tightening up your shoulders will make boobs perkier but am not sure, but you don't seem to have a problem with sagging as it is.

As for the hips you really shouldn't try to lose anything there. You're nicely shaped as it is. If you lose much fat on the hips you'll need to put on ab- or adductor (whichever one raises the leg to the side) to maintain a feminine shape, but that usually comes out looking weird.

If you want a tighter butt I'd say deadlifts and reverse leg raises is the way to go.

Geez, how tall are you, OP?

A bigger muscle is a firmer muscle, so, squat. Really.

Also, you look perfect as it is, so I wouldn't really worry about it.
>> Anonymous
your thighs are REALLY flabby, but everything from your belly button up is mint
>> Anonymous
Build some muscle, don't lose fat. Focus on heavy weight (~5reps/set) exercises. Once you build your body to the level you want it, switch from heavy weight to moderate weight (~20 reps) which will train endurance and maintain your size.

Your bodyfat level looks about right as is. As you build muscle you'll bulk up a little bit, and burn off a little bit more fat which should counteract the size change.

if i had a body like yours i would be SO happy
>> Anonymous
OP here, yeah I know my thighs are a trainwreck. They've been like this my whole life, and even with cardio - they still don't firm up. I can literally grab a fistful of fat/skin and twist it... thats how bad it is.

:-/ I'm not too sure what to do about it. It bothers me to no end.. its like half of me is a completely different person.

Oh, and I'm 5'7"

do weighted squats. heavy lifting bumps your metabolism really high and keeps it high for a long time after you've stopped lifting. also will give you better butt.
>> Anonymous
eat some fucking food genius
>> Anonymous
OP here, I do eat. Mostly carbs and sugars though, I'm trying to focus myself on eating more healthy food.
>> Anonymous
>>45610
don't worry about what you eat. just make sure you do some squats. seriously. they are incredible.

Your body is fine. I recommend looking into /fa/, seeing how you're into wanting to look a certain way.

Fats and proteins: Fish (tuna, salmon, tilapia, etc.), almonds, beans (baked, kidney, white), chicken, avacadoes, olive oil. For carbs: oat bran, whole wheat breads, whole grain cereals (cheerios, kashi), fruit. Of course there are a ton of other things...

You should probably aim for a 20% fat, 30% protein, 50% carb diet. It'll vary day to day as much as 10 or 15 %, but try not to eat too much of any one thing. I find that fats and proteins help me feel more full after eating them.

>>45610
OP, I think you have a beautiful body. You shouldn't worry about it at all :3
>> Anonymous
>>45627
50% carbohydrate? yikes. unless she's an endurance runner fuck that.

op, google poliquin principles + rapidshare, this will give you good foundation on how weightlifting works. go over to tnation and read their articles on diet, half of them are written by phds and the rest by sundry hard chargers. apply concepts, ????, profit.

fucking hell, all you're going to get here is general and half the time wrong information. if you do your own research you'll do much better.

most of this site should be about directing people to other sites.

200g of protein is right for some people.
>> Anonymous
oh, i've got another problem as well as diet, I have a genetic disorder called (atypical) phenylketonuria - in short, I can't digest protein properly or it can give me brain damage. 70g a day is my limit. :-/

(sorry forget to mention above topic was from OP)^

OP, research squats and straight-leg deadlifts. Those two exercises alone will hit everything in your legs.

Also, more cardio, less refined sugars, and less saturated fat

Yes, a 225lb body builder on steroids. OP can't weigh more than 120 and is a girl looking to slim down. A high protein diet (50%+) is wrong, you moron.

>>45667
This guy is right about squatz & sl-deadlifts. It's the only thing I do for legs. Just get someone to show you how to do them right, use low weight and go slow at first. You don't want to fuck up your back.

>>45662
>>So seriously, what is your distribution? You should try to avoid anything higher than 30% fat.

you sure about that? some bodybuilders are sitting at 35-40%, with no ill effects. there's a bit of research happening over that level as well. maybe you're confusing fat with fast-food.

i actually posted a tnation round table here a couple of days ago but nobody gave a shit. shows how interested most motherfuckers here are about learning more than their local gym-hero rants about post group-shaving session. had people talking about low carb diets (generally less than 45%). poliquin seemed to be running some of his pro-athletes on even less than that and, once they'd adapted, their performance showed no decrease, nor did their health.

hell, there was a bbc program on last night that had one bodybuilder who ate 18 eggs a day, and his cholesterol was in the bottom five percent. i also know someone personally with a world title who ate more than twice that. i am being deliberately vague because more information would make things difficult for me.

>> that's 200 fucking grams of protein. Don't be a fucking idiot.

i eat nearly that much anyway for my bodyweight. I'm a fucking idiot? do you actually talk to athletes/bodybuilders and read about the subject or do you just jerk off over loli and came here by mistake?

yeah, just because you're completley mediocre doesn't mean everybody else is.

You can tone your legs with weight training, which replaces flabby fat with firm, shapely muscle. You won't get huge muscle thighs, don't worry.
Don't be so obsessed with boobs, men don't like huge boobs....they simply like all boobs.
>> TOKKA
>>45454

Do pilates and yoga to work those areas to get them to their best tone. Not only will you tone up and build up your endurance as well as your limberness/flexibility you have an ectomorph build by the way if you also want to build up the fatty tissue in your breasts your best but is to put on 30 lb. of healthy fat (beans, nuts, whey protein) and then try to selectively work more mussel in the areas you want to loose and don't work out the area's you want to keep. The more you work a certain muscle to the more it will burn fat faster in particular areas.

How true.

Ugh. God. I fucking hate girls like you. "WAAAHHH I'm fat."

OP, your body looks great. You don't need to change anything. I'm an endomorph, and I'd kill to have your "problems".

OP is hot, stop complaining.

op is completely attention seeking, post tits.

Some guys (such as myself) prefer a smaller chest, I'm sure you know. I don't understand why it makes a difference, either way is good.
