Hey /fit/ im 6"2 190lbs (Chinese)

I want to be randy orton huge but I also want to run 8km easily by the end of 2011. I heard the heavier you are, harder it is to run. I gained 20lbs this summer by going to the gym. Is it possible to look like randy orton and have crazy cardio?

TL;DR Randy Orton 8k under 40minute

8k in 40 minutes is slow (8:00min/mile), so yes, its very doable. will you ever do it? no.

Having a good amount of muscle doesn't mean you have to be slow, infact you should have more resistance, practice springting and you should be ok.

i'm following my own strength training routine and diet.
i'm 5' 7". i was 175lbs. not a fatass, just not fit.
i weigh 163 pounds right now. only recently over the last several weeks have i gained those 3 pounds of muscle. i run 5 to 6 miles 5 out of every 6 days and i bike 30-40 min 2 out of 3 days. i've tracked my weight and reps over the last several months so i know i'm steadily getting stronger, it's just progress is painfully slow as far as mass goes because of two things:

1 - i'm following my own program
2 - i'm doing so much cardio all day long

i get my whey everyday too.

why not hiit it up?

dude OP, your in dire need of some definition, jesus christ. forget the fucking strength routines no one gives a fuck how much u can actually bench. what matters is what u look like u can bench. jesus u look pathetic man. at least your tall tho, so you dont really have anythign to worry about.

I just finished my big bucket of cell-tech, Im still using nitro-tech.

I guess to gain muscle mass you should keep those calories instead of burning them.

My classmates told me this too, girls dont like big muscular guys, they like cuts. Thanks I guess.

i dont know about that man. i posted that other comment but your tall, and that is by far the most important thing for girls. being large or being cut completely depends on the girl thought. just personally, i would rather be cut than large. i do know many girls that like big instead of cut though. just letting you know.

I'm not so sure sprinting would be the best idea for preparing to run 8k. I was a sprinter all throughout high school and my legs are huge but they seem to get tired very easily when I do distance. I can do sports where there's a lot of sprinting and stopping just fine but I'm shit when it comes to continuous running.

means to reduce the body fat so your muscle is revealed in a defined way.

join a college cross country team

after a year you'll be able to do 5 miles no problem.

I was a pretty shitty CC runner in highschool and I could do 5 miles. Surely you can do much better.

8K by the end of 2011 will be ridiculously easy. I've only been doing cardio for 4-5 months and can run for about an hour without stopping.
