I HEARD EATING THE RIGHT FOODS, NOT THE WORKOUT, MAKES THE ABDOMINAL AREA LOOK GREAT

for all the thin guys out there who have great bodies... what do you all eat in a day?

*i'm 140lbs, 5ft 11in
*i would LOVE to be the sexy thin guy. i do some aerobic exercise here and there- is aerobic important for a good appearance? // should I be doing that like daily? ----- i do lift some small weights every 2 days and I do an ab workout every 2 days as well (the same ab workout the football guys did at my high school.. and i could last longer than them... but their tummies looked better... i've done this for about 2 years)

i always thought i ate well, but i guess not enough for the body i want. i'm am a vegetarian and i tend to eat organic foods...

-what is in your daily diet?
-what foods should i avoid?
-any foods that help me? thanks!

I need a thread like this too. From what I understand, and how I lost my first 40 lbs, chicken breasts and fiber. I was eating chicken breasts, total cereal, and steamed broccoli religiously and I went from 220 to 180.

You are me, except 230->190. I'll probably reach 175, my target, in two months. I am interested in this thread also.

I eat less and drink a LOT of water and stay in the computer all day long or watching some pokemanz

it works but i've been sitting at like 175 with 20 lbs of fat and it seems to be impossible to get off. I kind of wonder if my body needs to be at 180 or something, so im trying to replace my fat with muscle.

Try changing shit up. Eat a ton. Stop cardio/start cardio, whatever... Do that for a week, then go back to your routine. "Zig Zagging" breaks up plateaus.

Lol i've done most of that, I still hover around 175, back and forth. I was running an hour every day and I was under 170 but I didn't really notice a difference and that was disheartening.

Situps dont give you abs and just doing them wont give you the body of the picture in the OP, Small weights don't build muscles.

Hes worked his chest and arms also.

Should bulk up 20-30lb then cut and your look good and not like a tottaly skinny faggot.

The "secret" to a six pack is to work out ALL your muscle groups instead of trying to aim at training just your abdominal area. If you're very skinny you may first need to build up some bulk, ie. eat alot and train with heavy weights/few reps. But most people already have enough muscles for a six pack, they just need to drop fat. If you're like the later then instead do more reps with lighter weights and remember, train all your muscles. Otherwise you won't burn that fat properly.

- You'll achieve great definition and in a relatively short time too, if you're doing it right and already got some bulk (like an average person and if you ain't fat) then it's possible to do in less than 6 months.

I look pretty good and I eat terribly. Frozen pizza, beer, occasional chicken breast, more frozen shit, fast food sausage & biscuit sandwiches.

Still, with all that, I probably only hit around 1800-2,000 calories on most days. And I workout for 30 minutes a day.

Thats all.

Of course, I've always been the terribly skinny type growing up. Getting myself to eat 2k calories a day has been a struggle. Lately I found smoking weed has helped with my appetite.

I am trying to figure out ways for me to eat more healthy and to eat more. Just going through all the trouble to prepare food is a real chore for me. I worry I'm going to die of heart attack from all the shitty food I eat even though I'm otherwise healthy.

I've just always wanted to eat the healthier shit without realizing it was healthy. Oats. Lean meats. Vegetables. Etc. etc. Read about nutrition.

Abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym. Doing 1000 crunches a day will just make your abs stick out past your chest, they won't get more defined unless you eat in a way that your body won't store belly fat.

I eat 1/2 cup of oatmeal with 2 tbsps peanut butter and milk and a little nutella plus 3 hard boiled eggs for breakfast, 1 cup flax plus cereal with blueberries 2 hrs later, lunch is lean meat and veggies, like chicken and salad with only balsamic no oil, pre workout protein shake or an apple and almonds and cottage cheese, or tuna fish and whole wheat pasta, post workout same, dinner lean meats and veggies again. My desert every night is fruit and plain yoghurt, I try to never go over 2k calories a day. No flour, no alcohol, no sugar, eat every 2-3 hours.

I have a cheat meal once a week and go out for drinks once in a while. I'm 6'0", was 184lbs and 17-20% bf when I started now I'm 165lbs and around 10%. Goal is 6%

Actually 10% is the place to be. Too much below that and you get gross skinny. It's also very hard to maintain.

Trust me, I've been there.
