What brand of oatmeal is preferred? I've heard quite a bit about steel cut oats, what's this all about? Lastly what do you like to add to your oats to make them healthier and/or more delicious?

Don't get that quick oats/instant oats shit, it's grinded to a relatively fine powder and tastes shit. Steel cut oats are pretty hardy, because the outer hull of the whole oat itself is still intact. They are a little more inconvenient because they require a bit of time to prepare, unless you do so the night before, but probably have more nutrients. Just go for rolled oats, it's fast to prepare, but is still pretty nutritious. As far as brands go, that depends on where you live. Ausfag here, Uncle Toby's is the primary brand round these parts.
