I think the most important part to remember is that it's 45 fucking pounds. I mean shit, thats not nothing. When I do a split routine to isolate certain muscle groups, I'll do barbell curls. put 25lbs in each side. So saying I curl 95 pounds is a bit different than saying i curl 50. Even with the big lifts it's good to know how much you can lift. 300 pounds might not be that much more than 290 but it's a bench mark. I guess numbers for measurement dont matter, cause you could say you lift 5 ocelots, which is more than 4, but if you want to know how many pounds you can lift, you include 45 for the olympic bar.
