I Think I Feel a Miscarriage Coming On !PRvAKqH.Z6
So, /fit/, I actually need some help.

Girlfriend might be pregnant, dunno. She has a doctors visit tomorrow, and we'll see. Assuming she is, I'll have about 6 1/2 months (wanna be done with basic by the time she's due) to shed a ton of weight. I am overweight, so I'm assuming I'll lose more faster considering most energy burned would presumably be from fat.

I'm probably wrong though.

So, what program do you recommend? Do I do running every day, swimming, HIIT, what?

I don't understand the relevance of the backstory. Do you want to look good for the baby, you filthy pedo?

Sorry, been working all day, I'm fucking exhausted. Probably going to have to do either construction until my college is done or military. Most likely military. And to do that, I need to shed weight.

Also, falcon is out of the question.

Well? Come on, you guys are supposed to be gurus, tell me what I need to do.

How much overweight? What cardio you can start out on depends alot on how heavy and how fit you are to start.

I don't ever weigh. So...pretty fat. My main concern is weight and endurance so that I can make the PTReq. Just basic plan. I'm very muscular, so whatever weight I give is gonna be massively skewed anyhow, as I used to do weight lifting and what not. So just a general plan.

Run, forest. Run.

Duration, intensity, etc?

Well if you're really heavy you might have trouble at first with running since it's hard on your knees. I'd suggest swimming laps if you can get to a pool. It's amazing cardio and zero impact. Besides that, the usual elliptical, bike, rower combo.

PT is pretty though though, since you need to run in boots if I remember correctly. So a few months in I'd start running on a local track if you can find one (since they're usually rubberized and thus easier on your knees).

Once you have a good base and decent endurance, start doing HIIT.

You're obviously going to need to cut calories. Find an online calculator and your required calories for a day and cut that by like 20%. Try to eat whole foods whenever possible, and cut back on carbs and simple sugars while upping your protein.

Whole foods?

So basically more meat, less grains?

Unprocessed foods. Foods that haven't been made into prepackaged frozen meals basically.

Whole grains are fine (wheat bread as opposed to white, whole wheat pasta as opposed to the stuff you'd normally buy).

I mostly eat that anyways, but I'll keep that in mind. Thanks.
