my whey proteinn shake says it has 50g of protein if you throw in 2 scoops this is good but right now its barely been 1 month 1/2 and the bag of whey protein already smells rancid and im poor and cant really afford to buy these anymore,

is it ok if i can just eat a couple cans of tuna (about 45g protein per can) instead?

Yes.

But how you let whey protein get rancid is beyond me.
Do you seal it properly? How many KG do you buy at once? I mean i use 2kg a month or so.

Getting nutrients from food is much better than geting them from supplements.

Just watch out for mercury.

no, all your protein has to come from powder to be most effective.

why don't you use fucking google and find websites that are authored by credible sources.

nah, it's a better idea to ask random people on /fit/

eat it after you lift, also, digesting tuna takes longer and your body doesnt absorb protein from it as fast as when drinking a shake
