I've had a pretty brutal shoulder injury for almost a year now, only got it checked on early september for the first time. Can't fully remember what he told me, but he said something along the lines of it being filled with fluid, and just suggested to try and strengthing it (with lightweight of course) and ice it regularly. Now, i did this, got a lot better, but then it got wrecked in judo again one night. I cant even lift my dumbbells to do curls, my shoulder cant handle it. I took a few weeks off (of everything) because of this, and it feels shittier than ever...anyone have anything similar to this happen?

Also, I have a question regarding the inside of my bicep. Say you went to put your elbow as close to your head from the side of your body, and stretched the inside of your bicep...whenever i do this the inside of my bicep stings like fuckin fire and I've also noted it getting significant atrophy comapred to my other bicep.

I'm going to my doctor again in April, I'm probably going to go with his first suggestion of injecting steroids into my shoulder for a quickfix, but do you think I should bring up the bicep problem? never had it happen before and don't want to delay an injury again like my shoulder.

Have you gone in for an MRI yet? You may have some real damage in the joint.

Your bicep issue SOUNDS like a nerve injury, but you never know online. Tell your doc. Get the imaging done. Realize you might need to get it operated on.

i have injuries where the pain from years ago was vastly reduced by an experienced good chiropractor. it may well be less involved in expense, wait than an MRI. but if you have to, do it.

the thing is, chiropractic doctors fix the pain. or maybe a good masseuse? once you have a picture and see what's inside, are those doctors just going to prescribe pain killers for the whole body? i'd rather the chiro fees, fixed in a few sessions lasting 15 minutes.
