FRUITS AND VEGGIES MOTHERFUCK. keep red meat to a minimum, and also get some REAL fish like Tilapia (smoked, or packaged in those high liner boxes) and Salmon. Also, i stand by my soy milk! it's better than normal milk, tastes better & healthier. Silk to be exact...

well keep it to small portions. it may not seem like it, but meat isn't very good for your body (especially in large amounts) and doesn't get digested properly so it just sits inside of you and rots. look it up if you don't believe me :/ also keep it lean!

dude, shopping is uselsswithout a meal plan.
figure out what you're going to eat and be consistent about it.

that way you can buy only what you need.

and eating healthy can definatley cost you about 30 or less a week.

1 gallon of milk - 2.99
1 pack of chicken - 10.00
1 loaf of bread - 2.99
1 lb of meat - 5.99
1 head of lettuce - 1.79
1 bag of apples - 3.99
2 bags of frozen veggies - 5.00

that's what i buy every week. things like rice, oats, and snacks (almonds) you can buy in bulk so you don't need to get them every week. it costs me about 30-35 dollars or sometimes less depending on sales and where i shop. I

my menu is this

breakfast - oatmeal + milk + apple

snack - almonds

lunch - sandwich + salad

snack - almonds

dinner - rice + chicken +salad

snack - apple

some times if i want to stretch my money more i just don't buy chicken and deli meats and just eat beans and rice. You can have a shit ton of beans and rice every day for lunch and dinner for one week and it will cost you 5 dollars.

the best diet is one that was forged into our DNA for hundreds of thousands of generations and that's the primal or paleolitic diet which consisted of 50-60% of our calories coming from meat and the rest in nuts, berries, and vegetables. not one grain was ever eaten in those millions of years, yet we think grains are good for us? why are so many people allergic to gluten and grains and have unusually bad side effects from grains, but no one is allergic to meat (the meat i'm talking about is grassfed or wild, none of that processed bullshit they feed you in hot dogs and bologna)?

have you ever gone on a legitimate natural organic meat diet? I did it for about 5 months and it got too expesnvie to maintain but holy shit! I never felt like my body digested food so well. I felt like i was getting more nutrients from my food it was amazing dude.

if i ever make enough money to afford that type of lifestyle again dude i'd love to do it all the time. Fresh eggs, real beef, real poultry, untouched vegetables and fruit. My digestive track never worked that well.

well i'm trying to lose weight so i've cut down quite a bit but it's got all the essential vitamins and nutrients I need. Sorry its not flashy enough or packed with calories. I should add more veggies and fruits though..
