How the fuck do I get "addicted" to exercise? Anonymous
I want to get that "high" after a good workout. I want to become addicted to the SQUATZ. I want to suffer severe withdrawal symptoms when I miss a work out.

I've been working out four days a week for over two months and I still don't want to exercise. I feel no addiction. No high. Nothing.

WHAT THE FUCK, /fit/? WHAT THE FUCK! WHY THE FUCK IS THIS NOT HAPPENING

PIC RELATED, IT'S MY FUCKING RAGE

That's hard to do because your brain rewards itself with the same chemicals it does for other activities like eating and sex.

It's the same feeling as fapping, except after exercise, you still have blue balls.

I only get that high from cardio. Which is usually just me walking with a heavy backpack on at a fast pace.

Why can't SQUATZ feel as good as cumming, just like Arnold?

YOU HAVE A NEGATIVE ATTITUDE.
brainwash yourself into thinking things that are useful are enjoyable.
that's the best advice you'll ever get if you actually follow it.

workout harder =/ you'll get addicted when you start seeing results

this man is wise. Most people dont get that endorphine high. It more of a feeling of pride that your doing something to improve you for yourself. also that your not a fat fuck like your friends at the bar.

oh also get laid alot more because youre not a fatty can be that high too.

So is the high that I regularly get from exercise a placebo effect? I went for a long walk today at a hard pace with a backpack on, and about halfway into it about when you get the "second wind" where everything just gets... significantly easier, I got extremely happy. This happens every single time I go for walks or hikes. The first part is always the hardest then you reach the top of the hill and everything is just down hill from there. I'm STILL riding the high from my exercise six hours later. Is this a placebo effect? Or am I genuinely experiencing some kind of a "high"?

I usually feel a lot happier for a few hours after working out...then I crash and start feeling depressed. What the fuck.
>> Go running for 60 to 90 minutes Anonymous
Running is the exercise that addicts people. After a good looong run endorphins are released.

Google "Runner's high"

How come I get a high from a 40 minute walk at a brisk pace? Is that a placebo effect like I was asking?

Fuck. I love getting high.

Maybe I should start running instead of sprinting.

I always feel like the shit after a workout, knowing that my body will be stronger in the next couple days is enough to keep me going most of the time.

If im having trouble getting started i just remind myself of how awesome i feel when im done and once i finish my first set of whatever im pumped

Also, once you have been working out enough to see results, start getting compliments from people, and are able to wear smaller (or bigger, if youre a skinnyfat) clothes comfortably you'll just be like..."fuck yea..."

You have to love the pain.

Pain is weakness leaving the body.

do you not want to be strong lol? if not just become another fat weak slob or skinny faggot. no pain no gain if you can't put the effort you wont' get the results I anticipate the gym after working out for over year I can see the results now and I just keep going to get better I can't wait to hit the gym everyday,.

Fake it until you make it. Fake the thoughts. Fake the actions that go with it. Keep doing it until it becomes part of you.
