/fit/ I need a little bit of help I'm currently 185 lbs but with a lot of fat and would like to lose maybe 40 lbs, I have kind of a stocky build and have no access to a gym any suggestions?

Pushups, pushup variations, bodyweight squats, pullups/chinups/dips if there's a playground nearby, burpies...just search body weight exercises on google and you'll find something.

work out wise would 3 miles a day and push-ups be enough

If you're a beginner anything is better than nothing. After a while you'll hit a plateau though and need to incorporate some different exercises.
