fuck it, fit. im tired of being on the chubby side. I want to be skinny.

I'm going to eat very little over the next few months, and what I do eat will for the most part only be vegetables, fruits, lean meat, and complex carbs. tiny meals. not enough to be healthy.

but you know what? i don't fucking care. so what if its not going to be the healthiest thing. i'm going to work hard on cardio, not eat a lot, and lose weight.

eating healthy while you are trying to drop doesnt fucking work unless you have time to do cardio for several hours every day.

this isnt going to be forever, just a few months. i'll drop the weight, and then roll back into a more healthy diet while continuing cardio. yeah, maybe i'll put a few pounds back on, but i'll have shed the layer of flab that I currently have. I can stand being unhealthy for a few months in order to drop weight.

I don't have time to count my calories and do 3 hours of cardio a day. so fuck it, here it goes

I did the same thing. Not sure about starvation mode theories, I was starving and I felt it but I didn't "bounce back" and my body didn't "cling to every last fat cell" to keep me alive. After I finished about a month of that and lost 7lbs (I wasn't overweight, was just trying to see how low I could get my BF% down to - 6%), I started eating healthy, but continued the amount of exercise I was doing. Now I'm still losing weight and I can't eat enough.

Your body will get an excess amount, and if he LIFTS WHILE HE ALSO DOES CARDIO he'll build muscle aiding his fat loss.

Eating less = More you gain when you do eat.

why would you give him advice on lifting>>395983
?

this fat faggot clearly has no care in the world to dedicate himself to something like eating clean and lifting, he wants a quick fix like the rest of the unsuccessful fatties, he might go balls out and do well for a good week or so then binge hard on 20 taco bell fajitas and gain everything back that he "WORKED SO HARD FOR"

I dropped 30 pounds by eliminating all unnecessary calories and snacking.

The basic rule was; if it's not essential for the continued functioning of my body at a healthy level, don't eat it. Absolutely no seconds. If you eat anything at all you've had more than most people in the world could dream of, so you have no right to complain about being "hungry"

Also I did about 300 crunches a day.

basically you just have to accept that you're going to have to change your lifestyle. It took me about 4 years to get from "fat kid with manboobs" to " in shape". I never gained weight during that period, I would just be content to stop at a certain point, then get motivated again to see how I would look with a six-pack. When I was dieting I cut out a lot of foods to the point where there is barely anything I'll eat anymore. When I needed about 3000 calories a day to maintain my weight and was only eating 1500, I just got used to it and adapted. When I had reached a point I was happy with, and continued the exercise, eating 3000 calories a day became a challenge, so I rarely get to it and am still losing weight, even though I'm full all the time. As long as you incorporate about 2 hours a day of exercise (ie: I swim an hour, walk to the pool and back for an hour), you will be able to accept your new lifestyle and you will lose weight as long as you don't eat anything outrageous, so any kind of dietary restrictions you impose upon yourself will only speed that process up. If you're in for the long haul, I'd recommend whatever daily calories you would need if you're sedentary, minus 500. If you do an hour walking and another one swimming, that's a 1500 deficit per day, which is almost a pound every 2nd day and is not too difficult to achieve. Just don't go overboard because you'll get sick of it if you can't handle it, and quit.

4 years from fat manboobs to inshape?

8 months to a year that should be easy peasy

It's "almost a pound every two days" rather than... EXACTLY A POUND EVERY THREE DAYS?

weightloss wasn't really my goal for most of the time, even when I was fat I probably wasn't that bad off, so most of the time I probably thought of myself as skinnyfat, though others probably just saw me as skinny.

>>396065

2 days * 1500 deficit = 3000 calories
lb of fat = 3500 calories

who was closer to the mark, faggot?
