Hey /fit/ , I have had a serious sprained ankle combined with the flu for the last week. Needless to say, I have not felt very productive. I am worried that when I go back to the gym I will lose a lot of gains and muscle. Is this possbile that muscle goes away that fast?Also what does /fit/ do when in a similar situation?
One week off will not hurt you much, if at all. You will feel refreshed and rested, if nothing else. But if you aren't fully recovered when you go back to work out you might feel tired or weaker than normal.
