Hey /fit/.
A random /b/tard here.

I decided to take the 100 push ups challenge to get into better shape and have a cool party trick.
I'm currently into week 2 for the push ups and started week 1 tonight for crunches (figured doing 100 crunches/sit ups would be a good goal to achieve as well)

http://hundredpushups.com/index.html

What foods should I eat to help me on my goal?

Working at an Italian and Mediterranean restaurant means I eat pizza and sometimes pasta 4 times a week when I work.

(day 2, week 2 for push ups, day 2, week 1 for sit ups, both on the column with most)

Comment too long. Clickhereto view the full text.

100 crunches? are you kidding me? Even a fatty can do 100 cruches, you just have to ignore the sharp pain, crunches/situps don't make you tired where as Push-ups do, wich is why you have to train for it, if you really want to "train" ur max crunches/situps, aim for 500+ atleast
>> Anonymous
>>351978
i can only do like 20 max, how can u possibly do 100+ without training?
>> Anonymous
>>351989
He exaggerated. Muscles will fatigue no matter what ones you use. Every muscle gives in to fatigue at some point.
>> Anonymous
>>351991
Yeh I know how they fatigue, it's like trying to run a marathon without any training, not gonna be easy.

but back on topic, is there anything I should eat/do extra to help me? (want to try and get rid of the little stomach fat as well)

I don't think so Tim.
They can't even do 3.

Eat healthy shit. Not that fucking hard.

If it takes you more than 2 weeks to reach 100 pushups you are a fag.

i believe the program is designed for those who don't go to a gym, are lazy, or fat asses, i am the first two.
if you can get to 100 push ups in 2 weeks, please record, document and upload to youtube for all of us to see how pro you are.

>>352046
I can. I can get to 100 push ups by today.

what a despicable, slimy, scummy /b/.
just kidding.
good luck with the 100 push-up thing.

pasta is good for carbohydrates, by the way.

>>352058
yeh mate was telling me how I should hit the gym with all the carbohydrates I'm eating, but I can't be bothered to go, pay membership, look like an idiot trying to use small weights and embarrass myself. So figured I would do the 100 push up challenge thing.

>>352056
please make a vid of it and upload i expect to see it tomorrow on youtube.

cut the pasta and pizza down to once a week, have grilled/roasted chicken or veal and salad instead. You'll lose the fat quickly if you eat better and go for a run 3 times a week. Doing pushups and crunches won't make you lean.

lawl 'vid or it didn't happen'. Nice try fgt. Doing 100 pushups isn't as hard as you think it is if you work out regularly, aren't lazy and aren't a fatass. Also not 352056 but I can do 100 pushups.

Im not the guy you are quoting, but I agree.

I do 100 pushups twice a week.. to let them rest and on one of the pushup rest days I do bench press.

I started out with 10 5 months ago but do 100 now... its nothing fancy.. just need practice and time to strengthen the muscles... over 100 and my wrists hurt so I stop there.

Do em on knuckles.

how am I tard?

im getting pretty tired of /fit/'s useles and insulting comments.

im 6'5' and 210 lbs my trainer said doing it every day is stupid since the muscles dont rest (tri and pec) and especially since I do bench press as well...

so grats on never letting your muscles rest and recover if you do 100 pushups or more everyday person im quoting.

OP here
yes I should have cut out my face, but I cbf, not like anyone knows me anyway, no-one lurks 4chan or /fit/ that I know.

>>352085
just recently I've been feeling the need to go for a run (since leaving school end of last year I haven't really done anything that physical on a regular basis while being at uni)

>>352194
and no I'm not a troll, if I was, I wouldn't have posted a pic of myself and would have posted the; "Trolling is A Art" pic, it's much more effective.

>100 push ups
>party trick

wait, so i'm drinking alcohol, listening to music, talking hopefully interesting shit, and then some guy goes "EEEY I CAN DO 100 PUSHUPS" and what, we're supposed to gather around to watch while you do 100 push-ups? shittiest party ever

if you want a good party trick, try one-handed pull-up, it doesn't take too much time (drunken people have ADHD) and it's pretty badass. You need some serious mussle to be able to do it, though
>> Anonymous
>>353329
I didn't mean it like that.
But the one handed pull up can be done easily, I can almost do them, trick is to hold your wrist with the other hand.
>> Anonymous
>>354112
Then that is not one-handed.
>> Anonymous
100 pushups = meager achievement for anyone older than 12.

Protip: It's not a one hander if you use two hands.

but if the majority of people you are trying to impress are having troubles standing up, then they dont care/notice as much.

and not 12 btw, 18.
