Flexible as a lead pipe Anonymous
Hey /fit/!

I was wondering if you guys could recommend any good books / guides for stretching exercises? Tried Google, Mayoclinic, Amazon etc etc; but all come up either too 1 dimensional, or incorporated into a larger health plan.

Thanks!

www.laurensfitness.com has some good, although somewhat specific stretching info, tends to focus on the hips... but I've had trouble finding anything to make a full stretching program for myself.

Actually the Mayo clinic has a decent general guide to stretching (I'm guessing you tried the crappy "slide show" they have).

Has a lot of good info, you'll just have to get other stretch techniques from somewhere else.

Someone on /fit/ posted this. It had a few I had never seen before, like the one where you lie on your stomach and bring the bottoms of your feet together and bring them towards your head as far as you can.

Download the DVD off demonoid.

Any comments on the 8 minute stretch? Or, for that manner, the 8 minute exercise videos in general?

Last one is the best IMHO.
