Hi /fit/, this is a SQUATZ question, I remember reading somewhere that even if I do them in a perfect form, it can slow my growth, and since I'm 16 years old and 188cm(aroun 6"1 for you amerifags) tall, I'd rather wait till I'm 18 without doing weighted squats and get taller.
So the question is, is it true? CAN PERFECT SQUATS SLOW YOUR GROWTH?

I'm pretty sure weight lifting does indeed stunt your growth a little, even though most "experts" say otherwise. Just by looking at most people in my school who started early, and weight lifters in general, you can come to the same conclusion.

That said, Arnold is 6'2 and started weight lifting when he was 15. But, what if he didn't weight train? Could he have been taller? Who knows.
