TWENTY POSTS UNTIL THIS POINT WAS MADE!!
>>469313 To add on, run for at least twenty minutes at a steady pace (nothing less than a "6" on most treadmills). None of that pussy-footing that most people call "running." Of course you might have to work up to it, but if you can't run then at least walk the rest of the time. Treadmills are infinitely easier on the joints for beginners. Get plenty of protein, cut out unnecessary sugars (soda, cake, etc).
Have one "cheat meal" a week, basically anything you want as long as it's not deep fried hog fat. It'll help keep your metabolism guessing. The rest of the week, follow a strict diet regiment such as fruits, veggies (the darker in color the better, no iceberg lettuce), lots of water and plenty of protein. Yes, carbs are all right, just remember to EAT SLOWLY and drink ONE GLASS OF WATER before every meal. Another thing to try is to keep a diary for triggers that hinder weight loss. Devote some time each day to record what you have eaten and how much, your hunger level prior to eating, and any feelings or emotions present at the time.
Stay focused on being HEALTHY, not becoming THIN. Many succeed in losing weight not by focusing on losing it, but by focusing on becoming healthier.
