fat gut Anonymous
Hi /fit/ I've been a long time /tv/ fag, I just got a gym membership, and I wanna lose some body weight, I got a bit of a gut, other than that my arms, chest, and legs are in good shape, how do I lose my gut.

You are right, I drink like 10 beers a week, I only do it when I'm surfing the web or watching tv after work, but I used to drink allot more and I think thats where I got the gut from.

I've been doing allot of elliptical and weights, is that good, or should I switch to the treadmill?

I can cut the beer out. Thats no problem.

OP here, does age matter, I'm 24 and I started getting the gut when I hit 22, I used to be a twig, same height but like 170 - 185.

I also smoked allot. Quit smoking a year ago.

What exactly is more cardio? Anything other than HIIT on a regular basis is a waste of time.

For cardiovascular health, google HIIT. If you think you can handle it, look up Tabata intervals too. This will place your physical endurance for above the general populace's and wreck fat like nothing else.

Alternate between lifting and cardio, doing one every other day, and the other on the other days, with a day of rest. This mean three days a week you lift and three days a week you do cardio.
