Yeah, you cant. at about 7 kilometers the pain will be so bad that you start walking, after about ten minutes you start running again, at 12 kilometers you will be walking half the time, and at 15 you wont see the point in carrying on and quit. Also, EVERYONE feels serious pain when running a half og whole marathon, its fucking excruciating, because you have so little experience you are going to believe something inside you is about to be fucked up for good and quit.
I dont think you are going to hurt yourself, but i think you are going to ruin your motivation for training for the future when you fail. Running is such a great sport, and you should not ruin things for yourself, having a big run to look forward to IS great motivation, but one month is not enough time.
www.runnersworld.com its a great site if you are thinking about starting to run frequently, like all endurance training it hurts in the beginning. But when your body gets used to it its going to be oh so gooooood.
