a lot of people say "I dont want to get TOO big...blah blah blah"

has anyone actually ever gotten too muscular (not too big fat-wise) for their liking? you or someone you know looked in the mirror and said, "ugh i look way too huge, this is gross"?

lots of other things to worry about before thinking you'll have the body of a competitive bodybuilder

As a female, yes I have. I tend to get giant ass-fuck lesbian arms if I lift too much.

I doubt anyone has, as you start making hormones after you start training, which make you want to get bigger.
But saying that, if you say from the start that you want to look like Arnold in his prime, youre always going to be disapointed when you look at youself in the mirror. If you say you want to look like Brad Pitt in Fight Club atleast when you look you will think thats what you aimed for, now you want to be bigger though

more like 12 year old boy arms.

muscle gain is done at a such slow rate that you can stop anytime you want. muscle is not like a cancer.

How is getting too big without you noticing even possible? It's a gradual and slow process it's not like you wake up one day MOTHERFUCKER SHOULDN'T HAVE LIFTED SO HARD YESTERDAY

Blah blah blah, no such thing...

I did spend 3 whole years doing a 10 mile cycle everyday and got to the point where my legs were way out of proportion to my upper body. But nothing that couldn't be fixed through some reversibility and upper body training (Though I've managed to now do the same thing with my abs). I doubt I'll ever be "too big".
