I'm a misfit who never runs, only twice in the past year. I ran seriously the other day, my obliques screened out in a delicious pain that I never felt there weight lifting for four months prior.And my glutes and ham were sore also, but nothing I ever do touches the obliques like that did. BTW it was 2 minutes to soreness, and another 2 minutes to failure. Uh about 1 km I think ( five laps that is, should be 200 m track ).
