It might be harder to fix as an adult, but I know for kids parents put their shoes on the wrong foot to help straighten their feet out.

I believe squats will constitute a significant part of the solution to your problem.

See a bloody podiatrist, idiots. You could be fucking the rest of your skeleton up royally for later on in your life.

I walked on the insides of my feet until I was 12 and, it turns out, I required 5-hour reconstructive surgery to repair the problem, or I would be effectively crippled at ~19. I wasn't a freak or anything, I was a healthy, active kid with no pain or discomfort. My parents took me to a podiatrist because I would go through a pair of shoes every 3-4 weeks.

I still have some knee and back pain related to developing that way (nothing a few squatz didn't cure), but I would be in far worse shape if nothing had been done.

If your gait is out of whack, you're going to be stressing your knees first and your lower back as well. It's probably worth the cost of having your shit looked at for the peace of mind at least. Many problems like this can be solved with shoe inserts or orthopedic shoes (that don't look hilarious anymore).
