I'm wondering if it is worthwhile switching to a 5x5 workout since I've done 3x12 for the last two weeks.

I was just doing a basic chest/back mondays, legs/shoulders wednesdays, and arms on friday... Sticking abs in when I wasn't wrecked.

I'm a stocky 5'10 202 lbs guy with a bit of fat on his stomach, but I make myself sick 3 times a week attempting proper tabata sprinting.

Should I stick with what I had?
Do you need me to list what exercises and weights I was doing? Really nothing impressive at all for a guy that looks like he should life more.

Is that just to build bulk though?

I wouldn't mind getting some decent muscle mass without looking like some amateur body builder with more width then height.

OP here, just browsed the site.... Am I seeing this right, there is no sale of books or subscription to the site?

It is just a bunch of free step by step advice for this awesome sounding program?

strong lifts 5x5 beginner. fuck with it.
no money needed of course dude what the fuck. no workout routine out there is worth buying.

starting strength should be bought(downloaded for free easily if you want) to teach you the form on all exercises.

I got nothing to lose from trying something new, anyways I heard it was good to mix shit up every now and then, prevent the body from getting too comfortable with a routine.

Awesome!

There it is on /rs/... I Guess this is something they threw together to help keep the site up even though they basically set this up as a non profit help site.

>no workout routine out there is worth buying

In a way your right, everyone should be allowed to maximize their potential without having to pay for it.

Although it's usually worth paying for expert advice to guide you through the motions if there is some really fine technique involved to maximize benefits.
