everytime i shampoo my hair ends up really dry and poofy, but if i dont take a shower for a day then my hair gets its oils back and looks perfect. what can i do so my shampoo doesnt fuck up my hair and leaves it just right?

buying a shampoo for dry hair types springs to mind, maybe you can get something for it in a pharmaceutical store? Do you use shampoo every time you shower? If you are like me and shower 5-6 times a week then you should know that it can actually make your hair really shitty to overtreat it like that.

I have the exact same problem as you op. I love how my hair gets at the end of the day with a little bit of oil. Sadly, shit like baby oil works horribly. The best thing to do would be to spring for an expensive bottle of shampoo for dry hair like the previous poster suggested. It won't give you the natural oily look right out of the shower, but I seem to get it sooner after I wash it.

conditioner, or shampoo designed for dry hair. if you're too much of a man to use a separate conditioner, you could try the two-in-one shampoo/conditioner combos.

or you could try gentle-style shampoos (like the kind made for kids, or the kind made for dyed/permed hair), as this is likely to be less harsh.

its natural to have oil in your hair and on your skin. rmoving it will create long term damage.

try using more "natural" shampoos. i dont mean go and find some voodoo doctor type of shit but go for more botanical oriented shampoo.

or only wash it once every three days like some people do. obviously you still clean it with water but dont scrub it with shampoo every time u shower.

you can also try eggs..eggs have alot of protein and good nutrients that are great for your hair and clean it but gives it that nice shiny and healthy look.
