so /fit/...a few questions here.
1) I'm currently trying to get a physique -relatively- close to the guy in this pic, ie defined muscles, NOT big ones, but I'm not quite sure what kind of exercise will help me achieve this. Small weights, lots of reps? Lots of bodyweight exercises? Any suggestions?
2) Obviously to get that kind of physique, very low body fat required, and I still have quite a few pounds to get rid of, so I also run several times a week. Problem is, I work in a kitchen, there is food all around me and I find it particularly hard not to pick at stuff all day long. I'm not fat, but this behaviour is stopping me from losing that little bit of extra weight. What kind of food is both filling and relatively low in fat? Bear in mind that I only have ONE short break for lunch, it is hard for me to have several smaller meals.
3) Last one : I have started eating fibre in the form of cereals every day, one bowl every morning (I never used to eat any). Is that too much? Anyone experience any digestion problems after eating too much fibre?

1. Lift weights. A common belief that ignorant people like you have is that you'll go to the gym once and then *BAMF*, you look like Arnold. You're not going to get big unless you try extremely hard.

2. if you're going to pick at stuff then at least pick at healthy sutff. Keep a bag of nuts or vegetables in your pocket to pick from instead or find some healthy things that you're serving and pick from those. You're supposed to eat often anyway so it's ok as long as it's healthy.

3. stfu.

I'm NOT trying to get big, as I have already mentionned, just to have more defined muscles. The guy in that picture is not big, yet you can see every single one of his muscles. I have lifted weights, but have only reached the size I wanted, not the definition. Lifting too much will make me too big, not to mention a lot stiffer, which I don't want.

Yeah sorry about question 3 I wrote it before thinking about it.

That guy is ripped because he is extremely active. You should become extremely active so you can get ripped like him. And eat better.

I am getting more and more active... I cycle 5 miles 5 days a week, run at least 8 miles 2 days a week, work out on average 3 days a week, stretch every day...maybe I have more fat than I think. If I lost it maybe I would find a kind of ripped body under it. I also heard drinking less water would help but deliberatly dehydrating myself doesn't sound like a good idea...

1) lift weights, take a weight that feels semi-easy for each exercise and do 2 sets of 16 reps this will burn lot of calories and won't really build too much bulk weight
2)fat-free cottage cheese sounds like your bet choice, eat a lb of it with an apple of two. and i also worked in a kitchen and had that problem, caffine and bring your own healthy snacks, munch on vegetables/fruit
3)do you poop fine? if you do then your fiber is fine.

and p.s. i'm sure his muscles are much bigger than what you think they are

Wins for Muay Thai, but rest is mostly fail.

Asians have an advantage with getting that sort of body do to their bodytype(endo, ecto, etc - look it up) By all means strive to lose weight and get definition but don't expect to get like that if you're not naturally inclined to it.
