Halp?

I'm joining the Air Force (just passed the MEPS physical, which sucks) and I'm currently a cashier at Bi-Mart. For those of you not from the Northwestern US, think S-Mart without all the awesome. For the most part I just stand around and talk all day, whilst pushing buttons. Would /fit/ be able to recommend any sort of fitness regimen/routine that I could look into? I'm shipping out in November, and I'm mostly asking so I won't be the fatty at the back of the pack all the way through Basic Training. Also, I'm 5'10", 155lbs and I have relatively little muscle tone. Pics if nescessary (I'm an ugly bugger)

Just do basic strength training. I don't know much and I don't care to help you beyond pointing you to Google.
