hello /fit/

I'm 5'7 176 lbs, and i've been loosing a good 1-2 pounds a week, and I was wondering what I should aim for. I'm currently thinking to get my body weight to 140-150, but I don't know if that would be to light.

diet consists of chicken/beef, green veggies, most fruits, no bread, and water. exercise 4 days out of the week, short distance walking, usually less then an hour.

Google BMI calculator, then see if you are underweight or not.

140-150 is not too light at all, no. On another note, bread isn't bad. Just don't eat the bleached bread with all of the nutrients out, eat whole grain bread. Don't eat too much chicken/beef; most Americans overestimate their meat needs a LOT. You need around 6 oz, the equivalent of about 2 decks of card's size. Jogging>walking, as a last note.

Unless, of course, you're trying to maintain muscle while you lose weight, in which case you definitley want to get enough protein to do so.

There are sources of protein other than meat, you know.
