Belly fat.

This is probably a fairly common question to /fit/ but I'm female and thus have no reading comprehension, or I'm too busy eating desserts and don't come on here enough to catch it.

Belly fat. It's not like I'm 400 pounds. I'm 5'8", 135. I used to smoke, and quit this year, and ever since I quit, I've gained weight. I guess I gained an appetite, when everything didn't taste like an ash tray.

So, I'm fairly healthy, I try to walk to and from work almost every day. I ride a bike a few times a week, and both of these things are about 3 miles each time that I do it. So, nothing heavy, but I'm not just sitting around on my ass. I work two jobs, and find little time to do anything outside of them.

However, I've got enough belly fat that it bothers me. I've always had a flat stomach and getting older and gaining weight is a terrifying experience.

Seriously, what the hell works for getting rid of belly fat? Sit ups have failed me. Walking and biking doesn't cut it. I can't run because of a bad hip. Now what?

Also, I refuse to sacrifice my sweets, and also do any exercise. And, if you try to call me out on my fatass'd lazyness and idiocy, I'll just call you ignorant, and claim I'm not perfect so I feel better about my fat self.

I prefer to go all out during the week, and then taking a day off on the weekend. If you're so busy, then it's not like you're going to have time to stress over wanting unhealthy food. Why not utilize the fact that you're too busy to make substitutions and eat healthy? Because honestly, you get enough cardio that THAT has to be where the problem lies. Also, I am a 22 year old female and I noticed a metabolic change (slow down) already. You might have hit a point. If you overeat, you'll just gain and gain as metabolism slows down.

Make yourself a list of foods that you enjoy first, and are healthy for you second. I've found when I have really busy days, even though it's not that great for you, something like Slimfast is great. Between meals. Focus on smaller meals. etc. etc. so on. Do you have any questions? I hate just babbling.

I was wondering if anyone knew that if when you lose weight, fat on ones face can also be lost. I am fat nor skinny... more inbetween but I have a chubby face and a little bit of fat all over my body... (once again, not fat)

Does anyone know if I lose weight, will my chubby face become less chubby?
