hey fit,

got a question. i've been a smoker for some yeas now, and just recently added more cardio to my work out. after a good run i coughed up a bunch of shit, and now i can breath easier than i have been able to in years.

does cardio somewhat reverse the effects of smoking on the lungs, and breathing?

pic unrelated.

Are people really this idiotic? Because normally I would have instantly said "troll 1/10", but lately, I don't know.

No. Not smoking does though.

Nope, although you might get more use out of the oxygen absorbed through the areas of your lungs that aren't tar coated.

You coughed up a wad of phlegm ... that's a physical obstruction in your airway. I've got no idea how big was or how long it was there but if it was big enough and was there long enough then you're probably feeling what it's like to have a mostly unobstructed airway for the first time in a long time.

If you really want to feel better then quit, if you can't quit at least cut down. You'll notice a difference.

What do you expect from a fitness board on 4chan?
Yes, they ARE that retarded and they should be punished for it.
