hey /fit/

so ive cut a lot of weight so that i can fight at a certain weight class in boxing. i am at that weight, and can lose a little more to replace it with muscle, but how (if possible) can i get stronger without gaining muscle mass? i feel like by going to the gym all i will be doing is just putting on more muscle weight. thanks for the help. pic related.

You thought wrong. Low rep high intensity (95% of 1rm) will cause myofibilar hypertrophy. Higher rep shit will cause sarcoplasmic hypertrophy which merely adds fluid between the muscle, leading to the 'pump' and a larger, softer muscle.
