OP here. Fuck you guys. Heating it up makes it easier to digest. So when I cook it / heat it up, I do not observe the oat shells in my shit. So this means they were digested. Yet uncooked / not heated up, I see the shells in my shit.
This means that the shells were digested when cooked, but not when uncooked, meaning it is NOT the same deal as with corn where the full calories are digested and the shell is just undigestable fiber. Based on my observations, I'm led to believe I'm not getting the most out of my uncooked oats since they're not entirely or at all digested.
Now tell me where I'm wrong, fags.
