probably a repost, but

Raw eggs? Worthwhile?

salmonella is a superb nutrient though
>> Anonymous
Nothing wrong with it.

i really dont see why this would be worth the risk

Does this have any advantage over hard boiled or pan fried with no oil?

Raw eggs are a disadvantage. Besides putting you at a risk for salmonella and other bad crap, it decreases the bio availability of the protein in the egg (meaning you absorb much less). Yes, when you cook it you get rid of a small percentage of the protein, but it's negligible.

Don't be lazy and cook the motherfucker.

Good enough for Rocky, good enough for me.

Pro tip: organic eggs have very, very, very remote chances of salmonella.

So, technically, you can make you sick if you eat a shitload of raw egg white.

Get pasteurized eggs if you're worried about salmonella. Costs a little more, but worth it if you want to eat raw eggs for some reason.
