I see a lot of you hoping to get in shape but for all your talk of calories I think you will never succeed if you continue to overlook one very important dimension to your problems.

Sin and Virtue.

You probably know that muscle weighs more than fat, right? Well why do you think that is? If you study the teachings of our lord, you will see that as the pioneers realised, SIN WEIGHS LESS THAN VIRTUE - AND THAT IS WHY WITCHES FLOAT!

Think about it. It's obvious. No-one likes a fatty, not even jesus is that keen on them. That's why they sing so loud in church, to try to turn His face toward them.

And being fat is a SIN - THAT's RIGHT, GLUTTONY!

So muscle is virtue and fat is sin.

So forget all this calorie rubbish, all you need to do is don't exercise but lead a virtuous life and you will be thin like an old woman who gives to charity and orphans.

Or if you do hard work for jesus and his mom, like war on America's enemies, you will grow muscle, which is virtue!

I've always wondered why weight or appearance is never brought up in biblical times. Now the teachings and paintings are making sense.

I hadn't thought about it but that probably is the reason.

Another thing, why is it normally the poor who are fat? Because it's the poor in this country who do the crime. Now we know they exercise because they run away from police almost every day but the sin causes fat to grow on them.

TL;DR, if you don't want to be fat all you have to do is follow jesus, when I was a sinner I was fat but then I just prayed and prayed pretty much all day, and fasted and prayed and the weight fell off! Now explain that if you don't belive it was jesuses work?!

I was at 21% BF prior to my deployment to Afghanistan, but after 2 years of purging the heathens, I'm down to 10%.

Jesus rewarded me for my service in his name.

You are possibly being a bit sarcastic but doesn't it at least fit the facts? Worth thinking about maybe. Exercise isn't wrong or anything, it does feel good and maybe then you'll want to do more good deeds, but I think there's something in this theory.

Don't force your religion on others faggot, especially claiming it helps with shit such as weight loss.

10/10
Holy fucking sage.

I have been fairly religious most of my life due to my parents maintaining non optional prayer and church outings.

I've never been fat LOL, lazy fucks.

Hey I'm only trying to help, it's not about religion it's about fitness right?

I did some research and look what I found.

I plotted % religiosity in our fine country vs % obesity. The numbers are interesting reading. Pic related.

America = obsessive right-wing Christianity
America = extremely obese
Coincidence? Noooooooooope

>>127556

God put deep fried twinkies on the earth to test for sinners. America is full of sin apparently.

If you're an American, you're an idiot.
If you're not, you're uneducated.

The vast majority of America is not obsessive right wing Christian. Most of us are just normal people.

And while we do have large numbers of overweight people, the average America is not clinically obese, but carrying perhaps an extra 4% body fat.

Talk to the graph! You are right that most are normal non-christians but the figures clearly show that we are mostly all obese.

How subjective of you, get back to me when you develop a universal scale to measure normality, kthxbai

That graph is clearly not scientific, clearly made by some kid in Excel, doesn't back up its sources, and doesn't corroborate itself. Is it saying 91% of the 21% are fat? Or 91% of America is fat?

The current rate of obesity of America is 31%, though that rarely actually considers body fat percentage, rather BMI, which can be figured by height and weight with no other measurement.

For example, my BMI is like 30. I get counted as obese. But my body fat percentage is 20% and my Fat Free Muscle Index is 24.6, and at my weight that means I'm carrying about 10 pounds more than what is "normal" or "average." That puts me in the overweight category, but not obese.

>>127577
A scale to measure "normality" would just see how much everyone has in common with each other across a wide set of criteria. Though its funny you demand I define normal, where as you accept "lolz evry1is crazy fatgodlover in murrika"

>>127586

lol it oviusly means 91% of America is fat just look around you lol

anyway you would lie because if his right then your fat therefore a sinner so you always lie

20% is not obese

>>127604
I understand that, but the graph is clearly skewed and not based on fact.

Simple Google searches show that over 70% of America believes in a higher power (as high as 94% by some studies) and that the obesity rate is 31%.

The graph is either 100% wrong or they mislabeled it or reversed the numbers.

But flat out, the graph is incorrect.

Could there be any truth in this, Guise? The facts add up. Anyone with any more advanced knowledge to say for sure if this is true or not?

Fat people are more evil--I know that much. I often see some shameless fatass eating her fifth donut and think about starving children in other areas of the world. She doesn't care about anything but filling her repulsive mouth. Fat people are incapable of considering other people's feelings. Evil.

They don't even look human, but rather like blubbery and disgusting amorphous blobs. They're subhumans. Repugnant subhumans that would trade a starving baby for a krispy kreme.

I say, burn them all at a stake... a really sturdy stake that can bear their weight, of course.

Makes sense and seems reasonable enough, I don't think they need to cite outside sources. Common sense and self interpretation seem to be enough for me.
