Ive been hitting my universities gym up every other day for about 45-60 minutes on the elliptical on the higher levels.

Last night, I went out with a few friends, drank a bunch, and also smoked a black n mild, inhaling a few.

now my lungs hurt. would it be wise to go running today, or should I wait a day or two?

Inb4 retarded moron or cancer kills. i know.

you just aggrivated your lungs a lil bit. it's like if you have a cold. go and work out mildly. also, arey ou doing any strength training at least 2-3 times a week?

I hear it mentioned every so often that if you do cardio regularly and medium to high intensity - but no strength training, that it actually takes away from your overall muscle mass and strength. Is that true?

well, cardio burns alot of energy in your body. do too much, and you will burn mucle as well. I'm not saying you should do less cardio, perhaps you find it keeps you in great shape and keeps you trim, but definatley throw some calisthenics in there to help fill you out more and maintain some muscle. otherwise you'll end up looking like some kenyan marathon runner.

also, eat well.
