Acne Anonymous
Greetings /fit/
Last couple of weeks I've noticed my acne is getting really bad.
I've been do all the pro active and I looked on the internetz and did some research and I've started to do these things:

Exercise: 30 mins running in the morning and afternoon
Water: 8 glasses a day
Healthy food: carrots, apples ect

is there anything more i should do?

Wasn't this posted before?

Anyway, if it's only a couple of zits and blackheads, pop em and wash your face with facial soap.

If it's all over, wash your face daily with the facial soap, then get some deep pore cleanser, dab it onto some cotton, and wipe down your face.

If that doesn't work after a week or so, get accutane from a dermatologist, and try not to hang yourself.

Stay away from fried and greasy things.
I heard milk can sometimes cause acne.
Buy lemons and squeeze. Mix it with any juice you like. Supposed to be good for your acne, and health.

Exercise enough so that you sweat alot, it gets some of the greasy stuff off your face.

I used to have alot of acne, once I started sweating alot from Martial Arts, and Airforce Physical Training. My acne died down.
You can do it.

OP here: Yeah ive been doing that 3 step thing with proactive, but i got it really bad with pimples and scaring.

Also, wash your face throughly with a good bar of soap. Sometimes I wash my face twice. If you wash your face twice or more, splash a little bit of water on your face, and just pat with a towel. You don't want dry skin.

Pro active sucks.

Facial soap, not normal soap or dishwashing(lulz) soap.

do not touch your face. Touching your face will apply bacteria to it.

Sure, eating healthy foods will help your body, but cut out the unhealthy foods. Cut out the sugar / fake sugar.

Shower and scrub your face at least 2x a day (in the morning and after you exercise and get sweaty)

Fuck that proactive / pharma shit. Instead of treating the problem, fix it.

OP here: yeah im going to the dermatologist.
but i have to wait until April because of faggotry.

Fuck going to a dermatologist, just order the accutane from an international online pharmacy
>> Anonymous
Accutane can cause liver damage so going to the dermatologist would actually be safer

My advice if you're looking for a facewash sort of thing:

Acnefree Severe. Can be bought at walmart and most grocery stores for $22. Orange and blue box. Seriously 9,001+ times better than fucking Proactiv, I noticed results after one day, no bullshit. I highly reccomend it. I had terrible acne and this stuff cleared it right the fuck up in about 3 weeks and got rid of 95% of and scarring.

Screw the doctors, medicine, w/e.
Cut out the unhealthy shit.
Go exercise until you sweat alot.
Wash your face everyday.

Accutane is poison lol. Enjoy your Chron's disease, severe hair loss, rosacea, and kidney and liver failure.

how i get my pure Ephedrine in the States.
>> Anonymous
Try an aspirin mask. Just dissolve a few uncoated aspirin with water and mix with aloe vera. Apply , and let sit for ten or fifteen minutes.
>> Anonymous
stop using that pro active shit, did nothing for me either.
just wash your face in a soap free soap, it doesn't clear it all the fuck up, but reduces it till you can goto the dermatologist and get some raccotune or something. that shits nasty man

Shaving is a good way to get rid of dead skin instead of leaving them to clog pores.

And believe it or not, take a Multivitamin.

Here are some that have been known and recommended to prevent and help conquer acne breakouts. These include

* Vitamin A or Retinol (High doses are toxic)
* Vitamin B Complex
* Vitamin C
* Vitamin E
* L-Carnitine
* Zinc

balance your omega-3 and omega 6 acids so your pores don't get clogged as easily. So basically, less fried stuff, fatty meats, and more nuts/fish

Acne could be from diet or it's just your genes. You can get medicine from a Physician to help with that.

Don't take Ephedrine. Your liver breaks it down and turns it, basically, into speed. Which causes neurotoxicity and permanent brain damage.

Stop taking steroids.

depending on where you live you could be absorbing
hormones and antibiotics through chicken and dairy , could be adding to the problem a bit ?

Wow...after all the seemingly random and contradictory bits of wisdom on /fit/, I would suggest you ask Google before following anyone else's advice, especially random strangers with no verifiable interest in your well-being.

ITT faggots without clue post shit.

Acne is rarely caused by food. True, food will influence it to some degree, so if you want to do your skin good, leave out fatty and sugary stuff as some have pointed out. However this WILL NOT GET RID of your acne. Even if you follow those washing rituals mentioned it some posts. Actually if you wash your face too often, it's going to be much more oily.
So far>>6785had the best advice. Accutane (Roaccutane) is the only way to permanently get rid of it. It does have its side effects, but ultimately you won't have any choice if you really want to defeat acne. I took that shit for 9 months (low dose therapy) and I haven't regretted it one time in my entire life.

You could try Accutane, but you would probably go emo and jump off a cliff.

Accutane is the Satan of vitamin C.

I had acne as bad as that when I was a kid, maybe a little worse. My parents put me on accutane, I think it was a 4 month treatment or something. It worked great and now the acne on my face is non existent pretty much, though my back is a different story.

When I was on the accutane I had to take monthly blood tests, I don't remember why :X I also had super dry skin and had to apply lotion to my arms and legs at least 2 times a day. I mean the dry skin was pretty bad, if I used some stupid girly lotion it would burn pretty bad. Also while taking accutane my lips were peeling very badly.

All in all I think it was great and helped out a lot. If I didn't take some sort of treatment to help reduce my acne I'd probably have some stupid amount of acne scars on my face. Though do your research about the medicine before you take it. A lot of the people listing some side effects in this thread are worst case stuff. I've known at least 5 or so people besides myself that have taken accutane and they're fine even 10 years later.

You ought to try brushing your teeth more. I know it sounds liek I'm being a dick but seriously if you have bacteria in your mouth then brushing with mouthwash is a good way to help the acne on your face.
