Its very radical compared to the standard that you are all used to.
You have posted somethings cute and delicious, so I'll describe it.
Early in the program, you do light weight 2 sets of 10 reps. Then slightly heavier but still light for 2 sets of 10.
By the end of the program your doing exponentially heavier wieghts, doing 6 sets total, and increasing the weight every set as the reps halve. There's a forumla to get the right weight/reps/sets for the person doing the program. My leg press went from 200 to 900 after 1 cycle. Also the training majoritively affects fast twitch fibers, so your speed increases but your endurance declines.
