>>31691 White tea is becoming very popular as a healthier alternative to black tea. Similar to green tea, it is jam-packed with anti-oxidants which help fight cancer, and lower cholesterol. White tea is often a toss up however as it has less natural caffeine than green tea, but sachets tend to have sugar in them. If you buy white tea, buy loose leaf for the most benefit.
Red rooibos tea is the most commonly drank tea in Africa, and is also slowly growing in popularity, especially in North America. Rooibos, while not actually a tea, when steeped makes for an amazing beverage. Rooibos is naturally sweet, and so it doesnt need sugar additives, has no caffeine, and no tannins. If you can find this wonderful tea you should definitely try it out as it stands tall and proud as the most healthy tea, with more anti-oxidants than either green or white tea! A recent Japanese study also shows that Rooibos may help to combat allergies! If you can find it in loose leaf all the better, check your local tea shop or google for Rooibos. If you can find it also try out green rooibos, which is even better than the red variety!
