Hey /fit/ i drank 4-6 litres of water today, i am 75kg and want to loose weight and was wondering if this was too much?? thankyou for your answers :)

It's too much. Max. should be 2 liters for you. Eat less, 5 times a day, 5-10 fruits or vegetables and move more.

You need drink no more than two litres per day, otherwise you will only end up destabilizing your electrolyte balance and your blood sugar will plummet.

gawd so way too much water then? i normally drink it because i dont want to have hunger pangs yaknow?! any advice on how to decrease size of stomcach etc through eating shit all and drinking shit all? should i just go down in water volumes?

It depends, OP. Common advice for competing bodybuilders is 1 US fl. oz. per pound of bodyweight. You don't want to drink probably more than 4 litres, and less than that if you're sedentary, but if you're active there's no reason not to do 4L if you can handle it.

4 litres is ideal for a very active person... yes you have to watch electrolytes and blood sugar... but it's better than dehydration...

hell.... when i backpack, i often go through 7 litres in a day not counting what i use to cook
