Gold's Gym will have you working out with pseudo-tough guys and shit. I've been to a few of them in different states, they attract completely pig headed guys with real macho-man complexes.
Never heard of LA Fitness or Lifestyle's Family Fitness. Given the name, Lifestyle's might be the best place to go to get sound help as it sounds more geared to the casual person looking to drop weight. If I were as fat as you are now, the last place I'd wanna be is a Gold's Gym. You'd be better off working out around a bunch of chubby soccer moms to avoid ridicule.
When you get to your desired weight, then you could look into an actual muscle building gym for your bulking. Regardless of what people on /fit/ say about how THEY wouldn't ridicule someone who was trying to better themselves, that doesn't speak for the droves of douchefucks who attend places like Gold's.
What I'd recommend, though, is going to each one and meeting the staff. Go to whichever one has the friendliest and most educated staff. Given your stats, it's obvious you know little about dedicated muscle training, so getting an experienced personal trainer would be a smart move for you.
