what's a good way to get drunk but with taking on the least calories? I heard vodka has very few but I was a bit suspicious because it's made from potatoes. Anyone know of anything good in this area?

Bump because I'm very curious as well.

Alcohol is calorically dense. You can minimize the impact of drinking by sticking to hard liquor. Diet Coke is your friend at the club. Mix it with vodka and it tastes like some hooker pissed in an ashtray. Learn to love it.

Simply consuming alcohol involves taking in Calories. If you must get drunk, try overconsuming in a short amount of time, enough to become inebriated without being sick, then stop drinking alcohol and convert to water. You will get drunk initially and as you sober your mood will already be altered but your mind can start to return to normal. You also look tough for drinking so much while everyone else still remembers and cares, can be fully in control when others are not as the night gets longer, plus it will often prevent a hangover by going to bed sober.

If constant drinking is a must, avoid anything with colour and that tastes nice. Diet or 'Zero' drinks will have lower Calories compared to beer or pre-mixed spirits. Never buy pre-mix, always get it made.

My choice is constantly sipping on a brown liquor like Scotch or brandy neat, or on rocks/with a twist. Tastes awful, but eventually your mouth goes numb followed by your head, and since you always have a glass of something in your hand, it is assumed that your are drinking and are drunk. Its also a conversation starter as you look refined and classy and people will want to try this fancy drink they only see on movies or in playboys.

Alcohol has 7 calories per gram. Hard alcohol generally has about 90-100 calories. Beer has about 140-150, about 100 for a light one. And wine has about 100 calories as well. On a slightly off topic note: Dark beers, and red wines are supposed to be very anti-oxidant rich.

Ohh, and the serving size for each is as follows: 1½ oz shot of hard liquor, 12 oz beer, and 5oz of wine.
