Looking like a pregnant lady Anonymous
Hey fitymous.

I have a problem. I've never been overweight but whatever fat my body stores, it stores on my stomach. Like, I have nice curves around waist, and my hips are in shape and all, but no matter what I do, I cant get rid of teh belly.

Any advice for that specific area? My bowels are fine, I eat yogurt a lot and drink a lot [not beer or alcohol at all, tbh] and I've been running regularly for 5 months or so now.

Pic related. Not me, cuz I look a bit worse than that.

Stand with good posture and your fat pouch on your tummy will be less noticable.

don't rage /fit/
OP you can't spot reduce naturally, you have to either get liposuction or lower your overall bodyfat through aerobic activities. I reccomend High intensity interval training (google it).

Try standing properly first. When you stick your stomach out like that, of course it's going to look fat. And learn to suck it in.

For fucks sake, it's not even me. I'm just trying to give you a picture of what I look like.

Seriously people.

That.
And maybe run even more? I've got the same problem with storing fat there. I hope I can lose it without having a nazi strict diet.

Do you drink sodapop? I know this sounds silly, but just cutting out soda and other carbonated drinks from your diet will do wonders for body looks. Try drinking only teas, waters, and coffee if you really need a caffeine fix for a week and see how that works out.

Actually, I just picked up on diet coke again. Pepsi Max, since it's sugar free, I try to swim in it when I'm thirsty and my blood wants moar sugar. But what you say sounds reasonable so I may give it a try. Thanks.

My stomach does that too when I eat a lot (I'm usually pretty thin so whenever I eat more than usual, there's this big unusual bulge in my stomach). To fix it, for me at least, I just eat less. Eating more frequently helps too because it means your metabolism is always going and a ton food isn't just sitting around there in your stomach trying to get digested. Maybe try eating 5 tiny meals a day instead of 3 normal ones.

This. I see some girls that walk around standing like this and it always makes them look like they have a belly--ironically, they do it to make themselves look skinnier, but uhh yeah it certainly doesn't.

concerned advice: don't drink that diet crap, it's worse for you since your body has a harder time breaking down the fake sugar. You body knows it's sugar even if it can't absorb it, so it stores it up.
