Sup /fit/, i want to get into better shape, im not fat, only about 160 pounds, but i would definately love to work out my chestal region, abs, and my butt is a little bigger than i would prefer, currently im trying to run on the treadmill for 15 minutes straight, precor elypticals for 15 minutes, than just general dumbells for a bit, also i feel my diet isnt anywhere near good, being a college kid i never really have time to make a healthy meal but im thinking about giving up all junk food just to help. Any tips?

Run longer on the treadmill. Try 5 minutes of fast running, then 5 minutes of paced jogging, then 5 minutes or running. Try to keep in motion and moving enough to keep your heartrate up.

Stop drinking soda.

Giving up junk will just make you want it more. You want to limit the junk that you eat, a snack here and there will keep you from getting frustrated or pigging out when the urge hits you.

Does the school have a cafeteria or are there any healthy places to eat around? It may take a little effort now, but finding good places to eat can have a great effect on getting healthy/losing weight/getting fit.

Basically, you need to try to find a way to eat healthy, keep exercising, and you should start to see results. Then build from there, maybe increase the exercise that you do, or find a sport or activity that you enjoy and use that to workout.

No, it's called a fucking lifestyle change. I haven't had junk/fast/soda type foods in three years now, and I feel repulsed whenever I see people eating that shit. I don't miss it at all.

well we do have a cafeteria but it mainly consists of a bunch of franchises, eg. pizza 73, subway, tim hortons, some burger place etc.
