hey, /fit/, I has problem.

I normally eat moderately, walk/run for 40-60 minutes a day. When I'm on the computer, though, I tend to eat one thing after another: cereal, sandwiches, bagels, fruit, all mindlessly consumed while doing programming/IRC/web. Not really any processed foods, but nonetheless a lot - also this eating mostly occurs at night. I think I have a problem with compulsive overeating - and overall I'm gaining weight. Even if I resolve to not snack, I somehow talk myself out of it. Any suggestions for not overeating?

Get off the computer. Seriously, being outside > internet. But for those times when you *have* to be at the computer, just put down a big salad with fat-free dressing or some baby carrots next to you and nosh on those instead. Overeating on vegetables won't cause weight gain unless you eat over 20 lbs worth.

Nighttime computer work leads to eating? Well, if it is unavoidable,>>153358's snacking tips are win. However willpower is the option of choice.
