sup /fit/ ?I am trying to get into shape, and am working on pushups. Every time I do them I feel this weird sensation in my arms. It feels like there are really tiny pieces of string breaking inside my arms. It doesn't hurt it just feels weird and abnormal. Is this supposed to happen ? I lifted weights back in high school and in college a bit and never felt this before.don't worry I will do squatz also...

Sounds to me like classic overtraining.Eat lots, sleep lots and don't work out for three days. See if that helps.

I used to get this. It usually means that you're starting to shift your weight incorrectly (more to one arm than the other). Just make sure your form is correct and pound them out.
I think its becouse "you're not used to it", I had it on beginning, whenever you start to do something the muscles arent used to it in past and then when you suddently start it then the muscles feel kinda pinchy... cant say for 100% tho
