so 2 weeks ago I was lurking on /fit/ and found www.hundredpushups.com. Because I was curious and wanted to proof myself I decided to give this program a try. The first 2 weeks were really no problem, but today I started with the first day of week 3 and seriously, is this some kind of joke? http://www.hundredpushups.com/week3.html

In the exhaustion test I completed 32 consecutive push ups, so I followed the 3rd column but struggled really hard. I had to pause 3 minutes between the last 3 sets and in the last set i wasn't able to do at least 25 push ups but only 16.

I mean look at the progression in reps from last day of week 2 to the first day in week 3. How am I supposed to pull this off without a shitton of resting between sets?

Any experience with this program or tips? I really want to do 100 push ups!

Just keep going. If at the end of the week you didn't do so hot, then repeat it.

what do you mean? I am sorry if this is a stupid question but English isn't my first language and I am not accustomed to colloquial.

you're gotta repeat the week you didnt complete over and over again until you reach the last week. this should take a few months.

Keep going with the current week. If you have to wait 5 minutes wait 5 minutes. If you can only do 16 instead of 25 do 16. At the end of the week if you were not able to do it properly redo the same week. I think you will find that it is much easier the 2nd time around.

If you want to do 100 push-ups, it's simple. Just cheat. Don't go chest to the floor - go until your elbows are at 90, at the deepest. Don't come all the way up at the top.

If you want to do 100 legit push-ups, it's going to take more work than hundredpush-ups.com.

I was in the same situation when I hit week 3. I just did "day 1"of week 3 for an entire week and then in the week after I managed to complete week 3.
