If you want any more milk just tell me OP. I have plenty :)

You suppose them bugs are a good source of protein?
>> Anonymous
that's a lot.
Most people will say milk is healthy.
A few people will say milk contains hormones and steroids due to cows being motherly and should not be consumed in great ammounts.
It's up to you who you believe.

only if you like bugs
>> Sheep++
That's a little over.

Two cups are fine.

Bugs are a fantastic source of protein.
Grasshoppers: 24% protein and 4% fat for example.
mealworm:
20,4% Protein
9,0 % fat
0,4 % Calcium
0,29% Phosphor

I drank milk like that too. Always had bad skin, I'm drinking soy milk now besides milk and want to try if my skin improves.

At least get organic milk. Most cattle in the US are basically kept on a constant trickle of steroids and antibiotics. It's worse in milk than it is in meat (although it's bad in that too).

And yes...insects are both delicious and packed with nutrients. If you're squeamish, purge earthworms then dry them out and powder them. Mix the powder into other foods to add protein.

earthworms can contain tapeworms.
It's not a good idea to eat them raw.

Organic Milk.

Fucking lol. I'll let you think about why that would be a BAD idea.

Hint: ORGANIC.

even though every gallon of milk I've ever seen says no steroids or growth hormones are given to the cows?

don't listen to all the people who say that milk is bad for you. There's a reason mammals produce milk for their offspring.

Yeah, their offspring. Not humans.
I cook with milk some, but I very rarely drink it.

Oh, so milk is for cows and not for humans? Explain please.

>earthworms can contain tapeworms.

A worm inside a worm? Are you trying to make my brain fucken hurt?

Not him, but...

Not all milk is alike, and even if it was, it's meant for young animals. Humans are both the only creatures that drink the milk of other species, and the only creatures that continue to drink milk past a certain age.

Milk DOES contain hormones- both natural, and in many cases, added. Girls have been hitting puberty younger and younger over the years, due in part to added growth hormones in both meat and milk.

On a side-note, Pedobear is firmly against adding hormones into little girls' diets.

Just because other animals don't do it doesn't mean it's unhealthy. Other animals can't think abstractly either, doesn't mean its unhealthy.

As for hitting puberty younger, what's wrong with that (for not pedophiles)?
>> Molon Labe !OWRNsS8xeo

Not either of them, buuuuut...

No, I can't point to anything specific showing that hitting puberty early because of supplemental hormones is bad for you, but in general, history has shown that carelessly fucking around with peoples' hormones causes problems. I mean, even when it's medically intentional and carefully monitored, fiddling with the hormone knobs just tends to have unwanted and/or unforeseen side effects.

Hmm okay thanks. I'm not OP but I'm keenly interested as I've heard people bashing milk before and never understood why. I've never heard of a single person have a negative side effect (besides those who are lactose intolerant) and I'm curious as to how this got started.

Well, specific cases are somewhat hard to pin down, since effects are spread out over years, and *there is no control group.* Virtually everyone either drinks milk or eats meat.

Google will aid you.

milk has a lot of sugar
>> Anonymous
>>135791

It's a disaccharide. They have a different make-up than your traditional sugar sources. Try again.

>>135797
....did you know sucrose is also a disaccharide? as in table sugar? do you even know what a disaccharide, let alone a monosaccharide is or why that would matter?

allow me to save you the trip to google to try and defend yourself. lactose is a disaccharide of galactose and motherfucking glucose, connecting by a glycosidic linkage that's broken down just about as soon as it hits your digestive tract. Btw, galactose is converted to glucose pretty fast too, so your body (yes, even YOUR retarded body) will quickly convert lactose to glucose.
