Hai guys
joining the military of my country in 2 years, after im done with my current goals. wont tell you where im from, but we have particularly harsh entrance tests, i need to be capable of 60+ pushups and 150+situps in one set. now i have the situps, im fine for cardio fitness (i run to work , 6 miles, every day, and then back) and i can do the 150 situps no problem, but ive never been able to stomache more than 38 pushups.

after a bout of Pneumonia i can only just make a set of 20.

now this isnt a rush since i have 2 years, but i need to know wtf to do to get up over 60 reps.

i am 6'7, if that could be anything to do with it. (leverage?)

pic very unrelated

I seem to be able to do more push-ups when I hit the floor and bounce up, but I'd imagine they would look for that. Otherwise, if you can do 40, you could easily do 60 this way.

Still, practice is best, and you wouldn't want to rely on a fluke chance to get into your military.

YOU MAY TOUCH THE GROUND AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT REST UPON THE GROUND. THE GET WITH IN TWO INCHES IS TO MAKE SURE YOU GET AT LEAST THAT LOW, TOUCHING IS BETTER AS IT GIVES YOU A LARGER RANGE OF MOTION.

SORRY DIDN'T SEE YOU ALREADY BROUGHT UP THE RANGE OF MOTION THING.
