Every time I come here I'm kind of deterred. All I see is a whole bunch of threads about weightlifting or threads relating to it.

Do any of you actually play any sport to keep in shape?

Post pics of you playing a sport, doing something active outside...even yoga's fine.

I'll add my pic in once I see this board isn't full of fail.

I play basketball, jog and swim laps. Never been into weightlifting much, only started out of vanity, it doesn't give me much of an advantage in any of those things. A lot of the amateur "bodybuilders" on this site are probably fat guys who use it as an excuse to do 30 minutes exercise a day while sitting around eating and living a sedentary lifestyle the other 23 and a half hours, lest they don't maximize their gains. Only know a couple of guys who are built, and while their broad shoulders look impressive, they don't have even a 4 pack or any kind of tone to show for it, they may as well be fat.

Really? So, when you started lifting for vanity reasons, it wouldn't help you as much as lifting for athletic reasons?

That's what you get for lifting like a faggot
