PIC unrelated.

the other day i asked a question about gaining fat while weight training, i figured out that it was because i stopped running for about 3 months, and now i know why i would gain like 6 pounds over spring break and christmas break during wrestling season.

so i went out for a run today and was able to go a decent mile at 8:30. but as i turned around to do another mile, i found myself stopping every quarter mile, my legs were so numb it hurt. is this just because i havent been running and i have to rebuild my stamina again?

That's why it hurt to run more, you gained weight and stopped running.

maybe you need to drink more water?

op here, i think i just have to keep running so my legs get back in shape, and hydrate more often

So numb they hurt?

Make sure you're getting enough electrolytes and hydrating. The rest is probably from being out of shape for running.
