So... I started jogging around my neighborhood (little under 2 miles) every night about 5 weeks ago yet I've lost practically no weight. And no, I don't stuff my face with twinkies 24/7, I don't even like eating stuff like that. halp?

eat less
or eat the same and run more
or do weight training

Have you gained muscle? It weighs much more than fat, so there are good odds that you've changed your body composition but can't measure the results with your scale.

Keep going! Run further and faster!

2 miles ? Less than 30 minutes, no good to lose fat. You won't have even begun to burn fat by the time you stop running. Run more, run in the morning before breakfast (cautiously at first, you might feel faint if you push yourself), check the calorie intake.

That really has little to do with it, if you're eating the extra will go to fat unless you have an insane metabolism. If you jog in the morning you're simply burning the fat that was stored from something you ate previously because you didn't work it off.

Go over what you eat, and switch from regular pasta to wholegrain, it's much better, and tastier as well. Other than that, try and eat healthy (not talking about junkfood or candy, everyone knows it's unhealthy).

Ignorance. Where do you think that energy comes from?
