Ok, /fit/ I'm in a sort of dilemma. I'm about 5' 3", 18 years old, and I'm a girl. I'm not obese, but I don't want to become obese, as my family has a history of chubby hips and thighs. I just recently started working out (I do 2-3 miles on the treadmill every other night), and started following a healthy diet, with only 1200 calories per day. But I'm worried. I'm a D-cup, and I don't want to lose my breasts through exercise. Is there any way to lose weight without losing your assets? I probably weigh around 125 to 130 pounds.

your tits aren't going away unless you start taking steroids

most of the time when a whole family is fat, it is because of their dinner/eating habits and grocery list. many unhealthy habits can form without noticing, and when everyone else in your environment is doing it, it seems like "normal" behavior.

If you want to get down to ~110 pounds and keep D cups, you'll look like a freak. Keep your diet going and your body will remove fat evenly, keeping your proportions intact which is what is most important. It's not size, it's proportion.

Losing around 15 lb which would seem idealistic for your height shouldn't make you lose that much of your breasts. Also note that gigantic breasts aren't all that men look for. Many men love B-C cups, some even say D is too big. I myself don't care any way, unless it's just flat.

Also, 1200 is a bit too low, at least I think. My maintenance without exercise is 2200 calories, and I ate around 1900 and did 45 minutes of exercise 5-7 times a week and lost around 1-1.5 lb a week. That is the healthiest way to lose weight. 1200 just doesn't sound healthy at all.

I think you're better off with smaller breasts as you lose weight. Or else the weight might take a toll on your back.

And besides, your breasts will become more toned and less saggy.

Really? I always felt 1200 was best, b/c of my height, age, and build.

1. Eat every 2-3 hours, no matter what. You should eat between 5-8 meals per day.

2. Eat complete (containing all the essential amino acids), lean protein with each meal.

3. Eat fruits and/or vegetables with each food meal.

4. Ensure that your carbohydrate intake comes from fruits and vegetables. Exception: workout and post-workout drinks and meals.

5. Ensure that 25-35% of your energy intake comes from fat, with your fat intake split equally between saturates (e.g. animal fat), monounsaturates (e.g., olive oil), and polyunsaturates (e.g. flax oil, salmon oil).

6. Drink only non-calorie containing beverages, the best choices being water and green tea.

7. Eat mostly whole foods (except workout and post-workout drinks).
So what about calories, or macronutrient ratios, or any number of other things that I’ve covered in other articles? The short answer is that if you aren’t already practicing the above-mentioned habits, and by practicing them I mean putting them to use over 90% of the time (i.e., no more than 4 meals out of an average 42 meals per week violate any of those rules), everything else is pretty pointless.

do these 7 things and you can eat as much as you want. I find it MUCH MUCH easier to do than counting calories, and it works far better

1200 is way too low, that is on the edge of starvation diet. To ballpark your maintenance calorie intake: take your weight, put a zero on the end, and then add your weight to that number. So, you'd be like 1250 + 125 = 1375. If you're exercising you can eat more.

As people have mentioned before, breast size is all about proportion. You know how you can just look at women who've had breast implants and know? And think about how fake and weird they look? That's because they're skinny with large boobs.
Women with larger frames, or who are taller or fatter have larger boobs. You're really short. If you lose the chub, it's just going to look weird to have big boobs. As you start losing weight, including boobs, you'll look and feel so much better! (Boobs hurt posture and bras for larger ones can hurt!)
Also, don't be afraid to lift weights!

5'3'' and 130 pounds eh... I donno doesn't sound too fit to me.

I think basically you need to make sure you get 1500+ calories, and lift light weights (like 5 pounds or 10) and just do a lot of reps, rather than run, so you can lose weight in certain non-breast areas? I donno.

OP is a troll, but at any rate: fat girls have big tits for the same reason fat guys have tits at all. When a guy sees a fat girl they are not impressed by her fat tits because they know the territory they come with (fucking a fat broad). There is nothing attractive about big tits if they are on a fat girl, fat girl tits are saggy and covered in stretch marks. Just because they are big doesn't mean they are an asset. Most guys would prefer a skinny girl over a fat one regardless of the tit size of either of them.

I just wanted to say one thing: having D-cup breasts is nice and all, but if you lose some weight your breast size will go down, too. It's better for your body to be in proportion than the alternative.

Actually, 1200 calories a day is just fine for a diet for a female. It would be low, if you were male.

Her tits alone must weigh about 25lbs, so take that into account.

Boobs don't weigh much at all. They are almost negligible when factoring in the total weight of a person.
