Anon I need help with nutrition, I know I need a diet based aorund things like oatmeal and tuna and stuff... btu I need a meal plan, a really strict (but bearable) meal plan.. 'cause ifnot I'll revert back to eating crap.

Basicaly what I need is a database of foods where it tells me how much fat/protein/carbs per X ammount of grams for that food, so I can build my meal plan around it.

Also is it ok to eat the same thing every day? as in make 2 meal plans and alternate them on a weekly basis? (effectively eating the same thing every day for a week)

Any database or somehting that will help me? im 5'6 and 168 pounds which makes me have a BMR of around 2000 (taking into account calorie defficiency since Im going to loose weight rather than bulk.)

I have my routine (bodyweight, no access to gym in my area) and cardio, all im missing is good nutrition on my side.

Ideas?

I have the PC version and use it daily.

Variety in the diet is always *ideal*, but eating a monotonous diet of broccoli, chicken, and rice will always be better than a varied diet that includes less vegetation. What's most important when building a diet plan is making sure that you build something that's sustainable for you and meets your dietary needs. Do what makes you comfortable.

Your tax dollars have already paid for it (if youre american) and it also keeps track of your intake so you can graph your nutritional info

or you can pay me a few thou to finish my program that does this and allows custom foods (eg, i drink this protein shake that no online db has)

meet a nutritionist, or take general interest college course for 30 hours spread over 3 months with time to absorb info. latter would be much more bang for the buck
