stop eating so much

eat 5-6 small meals a day

stay away from processed shit and soda

drink 1 gallon of water a day

exercise for at least 45 minutes every day

3 days = weight training

3 days = cardio

rinse
wash
repeat

Sorry to tell you but you can only break down fat from all over your body. Spot reducing is a myth.

That was me a year ago, OP. What helped me was being told by my doctor that in the next four to six months it was likely for me to have a stroke. Meet a nice girl, then call her while you take a walk. You can walk for hours and not realize it when you're on the phone. When you're light enough to jog/run, take an mp3 player.

Do compound exercises, read SS as stated in this thread, and eat right.

Also, get a fucking tan.

Ignore them and wait for people to give you some useful advice. Like: Don't take things personally on the internet.

Anyway, I'd recommend going cold turkey and cutting out all soda and sweet drinks you have and just stick to water and milk. Also any and all candy. From that step alone you're likely to drop a few pounds.

And take up some good form of cardio that you could do every other day or so.

This anon has a good point:>>398592

Thanks man. You don't know how fucked up my life is all because of my lardassness. I like to walk a lot and I do try to lift weights sometimes. However, I constantly drink sodas, and eat fried foods and sugary shit so that basically nulls all the walking. I am trying to cut all of that out.
Something else...how would 6 small meals a day help?

Read the wiki link I gave you. ALL of it.

It explains diet and how to work out. Eating small meals keeps your metabolism up.

Six small meals will be best, four if you can't afford to eat that much. Stop eating fried food, don't drink sodas, and find yourself a weight lifting schedule you can fit into your schedule. If you hang out with friends and all they do is sit around and eat shitty food, find new friends ASAP. I had to do that, and the friends you leave behind will follow in your steps to become healthy as well.

worst social advice ever. This is why half of /fit/ are friendless losers who spend all day talking about their buff bodies on the internet, AKA to the only people that pretend to give a shit. Don't be a cunt and end any friendships over your diet.
>> OP
Thanks to all who helped.
Now i'm off to read that wiki...

you can start by doing this
>> Anonymous
>>398630

What are you gonna do when you're hanging out with said friends and they want to just play computer games, but you want to go run around and be active? You fucking leave.
>> Anonymous
>>398633
this is why you set aside routines and workout schedule. So you're not sitting around in the middle of the day and go "fuck i need to run!" and run out of work to get a sweat going.
>> Anonymous
>>398635

I train Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, for an hour and a half. Tuesdays and Thursdays are my off days where I spend it skating or boxing with my friends. This, plus school Monday through Friday and work on the weekends keeps me occupied.

>>398633

exactly, but that doesn't mean you should cut them off completely, if at that exact time you feel like doing something physical instead of playing games (and really, you could plan to do that before or after you meet your friends, he only needs 1-2 hours exercise per day), then go for it. It's not the meeting with friends part that causes people to gain weight, that's only a fraction of their daily activities, it's the hours of sitting around the house on weekends and at nights that caused those mantits and gut.

If you REALLY want to lose weight fast then just starve yourself.

>>398641
exactly dude. it doesn't take much to stay in shape. anything over 1 hour a day is because you choose to do so for whatever reasons. If i choose to deadlift 400 lbs, that's my particular goal and i shouldn't lambast other people for not wanting to partake in my goal. Now if i go tot he gym every morning for 1 hour and my frineds give me shit for it and tell me its a waste of time then yeah, i could definatley get pissed about that.

>What are you gonna do when you're hanging out with said friends and they want to just play computer games

I'm gonna play games with them. Training time is training time. Social time is social time. Gaming time is gaming time.
>> Anonymous
>>398646

Thats the reason I had to stop hanging out with them as much I used to. They'd constantly give me shit for not wanting to skip my work outs to LAN.

many small meals or few large ones doesnt matter, metabolic wise it will be about the same at the end of the day. it's a good way to not get hungry and risk over eating though.
>> Anonymous
A 22 oz bottle of soda has 280 calories.
2 sodas have as many calories as a meal.

Stop drinking them.

most important thing: routine

write down your weight every week, and set goals

also write down every time you work out to avoid skipping it.

ROUTINE
