and for me they seem to have worked and make me feel less tired and weak when i wake up in the mornings and my skin feels abit better, would starting the gym also improve these things?

Hippie "whole-food purists" are fags. Did anyone catch the zealous tone of his message? It's because he's religiously obsessed with whole foods without even knowing the facts behind supplements. While whole foods are great, sometimes you just don't get enough. Supplementing is a great way of ensuring your body has what it needs whenever this happens. Stating that whole foods are the ONLY supplement you need is moronic.

Why did you all fail to get this? Sorry I had to spell it out... maybe all three of you are lost causes.

Whole foods are always better than supplements, but if you are really that picky that you will not eat your vegetables, than so be it. And yes, go to the gym.

Go run outside for an hour then wake up the next morning and see how you feel.
