this pic is me about 5 minutes after working out a little. i weigh 125 lb at about 5'9. a lot of friends have told me that i'm too skinny or too small. im already trying to gain muscle. so my question to you guys is am I really too skinny and should i start eating more and trying to gain weight?

Im about the same weight but ive gained about 10-20lbs of fat. Metabolism is slowing down so time to hi the gym before i swell up into a hippo.

Eat:

1 cup oatmeal every morning

Eat lots of pasta with meat everyday

also snack on lots of baked potatoes for extra carbs

by doing this you will bulk up and not look like a skinny 10 yr old when youre 20.

your goal for next four months is to gain ~20lbs with will be muscle and fat dont worry though the fat can be taken care of with some running / cardio and its easier for ectomorphs (skinny body high metabolism etc) to get rid if extra fat but really hard to put on weight.

I weigh about 150lbs at 5'6", but look only slightly more muscular than you. And that's after 3 months of bulking from nothing. Eat more, lift more = better looking.
