I've done hiit before, and since i have a HRM and fat to burn i'll start doing it again

I guess it depends if you feel particularly hungry in the mornings. If you do, then maybe a breakfast before you start would be best. Personally, I never feel hungry after I've woken up, so it's no problem for me.
