I would include freeweight strength training because it releases a ton of HGH, which causes you to release fatty acids, aka fat for energy. If you add some muscle to your frame, it needs a constant source of energy and will eat into your glycogen reserves constantly and shoot up your metabolism.
Always do strength training first, though. I would reccomend you keep your sessions at 1 hour but you can do an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening
