Guys, how do I get extreme at this sport?

I want to rock. Any tips?

In return, I'll answer any tactical questions you may have. Or any questions.

My current idea is to load up ball and movement training daily with work outs and runs every other day. How long do I need to train in order to get good?

Join a soccer school and start a strength training routine/diet.

None around here. In Canada, that is.

You should play the game to get good at playing the game. Absolutely no amount of training will get you as good at it as actually playing it.

the best way to get good at soccer is to PLAY soccer.

Trust me, I know - I'm a qualified soccer coach (srsly).

Soccer isn't about training or fitness (granted, it helps your game) but it comes down to playing it.

Also, watch soccer to get an idea of how players do things (technique, etc) and why they do things (tactics, off-the-ball movement, etc).

Also appreciated.

Unfortunately, there's only so many leagues around here, and it's fairly hard to find teams over winter.
