So /fit/, what's the best way to build leg muscle without weights? I know SQUATZ are always the best answer, but what's the next best thing? I'd imagine jogging is better for endurance than strength, but what about sprinting? Or is there something better than that?

Sprinting uphill with a backpack on your back.

Nothing really beats squats for building leg muscle, though.

You can do weightless squats. just do everything slowly and lots of them. Also finding stairs and doing calf raises.

Any recommendations? I'm thinking go down for five seconds, up for five seconds. Repeat ten times, take a short break; do this five times in a row. Too much? Too little?
