Hey /fit/. Got a question regarding losing weight while in college. Mainly that I've been told eating too little is bad for you. The problem with this is, that I can't get breakfast, lunch is iffy sometimes, and dinner is the only guaranteed meal.

Guess my question is, will eating not enough fuck me over in losing weight? I was down 30 pounds from June to August just cutting out all soda, walking hours daily, and eating normal portioned meals. Now I'm walking 30 minutes to each class, but I barely get enough food. Also, I'm afraid the one meal a day I get, I'll be overeating to compensate.

Looking for any input, thanks.

You gotta have breakfast to lose weight, cuz if you do eat breakfast, you'll eat less throughout the day. And it depends on how much you're eating, if you eat too little, your body will cling to the fat.

Eating throughout the day is no problem. I'm in classes all day. I don't have the money to buy snacks. Basically I'm eating 1000 calories on a bad day and about 1500 on a good day.

Screws up your metabolism, so that one meal you do eat will go straight into storage (i.e. fat).
Though, assuming you're not exercising you'll be losing muscle too, and that weighs more than fat so you might still lose weight.

That's what I'm afraid of. I get plenty of walking in and work outs in the room. My schedule is just fucking me over with eating. =/ I might need to get some money to keep stuff in the room to try and make up for what I'm not getting.
