Remember an estrogen blocker, and have a post-cycle therapy ready. I used methyl 1-D and Formaldol for my post cycle. I didn't notice that great of a mass gain, but the strength gain was magnificent

I would consider moderate test supplementation (keeping my serum levels to the high end of natural range). but i don't think I'd ever do any kind of bodybuilding cycle... that just can't be healthy.

OP > first cycle? Keep it very light. Have you really thought hard about this? You could be doing permanent damage... everyone responds differently to this. Are you really ready? Have you really exhausted every natural avenue possible for your genetic potential? I doubt it!

My experience - 3 cycles at the age of 24 - worst thing I ever did. It DID work, it worked extremely well. It's just all the other parts that I'll never finish paying for (liver damage, friendships ruined, nearly divorced, and much more).

Everyone reacts differently. I've known guys who have juiced steadily on/off for 8-10 years and have done it fairly responsibly and they're as huge as a mountain right now..... but who knows where they'll be in another 10-20 years.

and I've known guys to have a heart attack or some other kind of horrible violent reaction after their first or second cycle.

Remember you're also likely taking some mexican unregulated crap (if you're in the US)... it could be 2x as strong as the dose written or 1/5... you wouldn't know. Rat poison?

anyone who posts on /fit/ should not be using steroids, its as simple as that. if you come here to discuss serious fitness then you're a fucking failure. you might get some beginner information but 90% of what gets posted is worthless and probably posted by someone who is in worse shape then you'll ever be.

Singed. I knew a guy who juiced. His exact words to me were "We thought we were so smart." Then one day he keeled over and had a heart attack; no warning, he just dropped. He survived but now he's a tooth pick with heart damage.

Look; people in contests use this shit; no argument. If you're not turning pro or close to it you have no really good reason to use it. The bottom line is what the above poster has said is right; there's a good chance you're going to do permenent damage. If there's isn't a lot of money/fame on the line why take the risk to begin with? Ego isn't a good reason!

That's an important aspect I forgot to include. The reason I decided to do it. I'd been training since I was about 14 with various forms of MMA to either be a professional fighter or a top-notch US Marine. I made it into the amateur circuits through 18-22 but my body just wasn't built for that kind of punishment... I learned in order to make it to the UFC or K1, etc... you have to:
a.) Have just the right genetics
b.) Be committed to it 24/7/365 with NOTHING else in your life
and/or
c.) Abuse anabolics.

At 23-24 I was desperately seeking a way to return to what I perceived to be the power I had at 19 and I wanted to take my "one last shot" at real success towards the UFC so I started cycling.

It worked extremely well... I went from 6'3" 215 to 235/240 over the course of about a year and 3 cycles to a 10% bf 225 when I slimmed back down. I was fuckin' buff. In the end, although I was stronger - I was still too slow to compete with the big guys. Now I'm a 31-year-old 255lb fat fuck with too many problems to mention. I was never made for that sport and I should've learned my lesson when I was 19. Fucking steroids only made it worse and nearly ruined my entire life... but at least I had SOME kind of reason for it.
