Yes, any core exercises would help.
If not, concentrate on flexing your midsection as often as you can throught the day. I heard Ronnie Coleman and Bruce Lee did this on their every days, to improve their core muscles.

But more than likely you're just slouching. I used to have a problem with bad posture, all I did was regularly remind myself to flex my lower back and stand up straighter throughout the day and it eventually became a habit.

It depends what sort of posture you have. All of the postures are technically created through pure habit. But the first posture would be due to an overpowered chest, work on some upright rows, behind-the-head lat pulldown or something similar. The last one i have no idea how the hell you get in that situation.

i started doing these two weeks ago and i've already noticed it's a lot easier to sit up straight

of course you'll also set yourself up for an assfucking, so make sure you pick a gym without too many homos, because they can't be trusted...
