Fatass wanting to get fit Anonymous
I am 18 years old, 6'5 and a massive 360.

I am tired of being a fatass, and I need to take control and get healthy. I have eaten mostly fastfood most of my life and I have no clue how to to cook most foods that aren't Ramen/Mac&Cheese. I was never raised to eat healthy so im in the dark as far as how to prepare stuff like salmon, salads, etc. I have never really tasted too many veggies I like, though I've been trying more fruit every day and finding some I love.

What foods does /fit/ recommend I mainly eat? What are your daily meal plans?

I have never really excersiced either outside of the mandatory in gym. I am starting to walk, and will build up to 60min a day then do some other more intensive stuff. When should I start the stronglifts program? Can I learn the right form with just Starting Strength, or do I need to find a friend to help me. I haver lifted weights or been in a gym before.

I don't see how power lifting is the best way to lose weight
at 360, your knees and back must suck, and assuming you took a carbonated drink everytime you ate fastfood, your bones are probably in shit condition
ride a bike for an hour, you will loose so much fucking weight
screw salads and veggy shit food, just cook your own peas, macaroni, spaghetti, chicken, etc. simple, non microwaved, non 'fast'food food.

and cut the carbohydrated drinks by like 100%, that's usually the biggest problem in weight gain.

Keep it a brisk walk for 5 min for warm-up. Then jog for at least 20 min, 3x a week. Eventually you can speed up once you're not fat or you can keep it at a steady pace for 45 minutes

3) find out what cardio workout you find most fun, and then do it 30-40 minutes 5 days a week
4) if you're too much of a jew to buy a gym membershit, do sandbag weighttraining
5) eat healthy, dont overeat or undereat
6) keep on that shit, if you're not seeing progress then trying something else, everyone's body works different

Where the fuck do I buy Wild Salmon and Flax Seeds? Again, what are some of mis/fits/'s eating plans for the day, where I can see some good examples.

So is it possible to have a calorie deficit, but be eating enough protein and lifting where I can burn fat and gain muscle through free weights?

Eat only every other day, 2000-3000 calories. On days the days that you do not eat chew gum and drink tons of water. For exercise look up bodyweight workouts. They require no equipment and are pretty simple (squats, pushups, lunges). You will lose 5-20 pounds a month.

i don't know if that's the best plan...
going on 1 or 2 day fasts in the condition your body is in isn't very intelligent, to say the least, and it definitely won't help you.
eat small meals, about 5-6 each day.
you can get flax seed at health food stores now, so look up one in your area and expect to pay a little more buck for a way more bang.
see what the guy at the health food store recommends you do, eating-wise.
stay away from enriched or white flour, soda pop, simple carbohydrates, and just fast food in general.

eating 5-6 meals a day will help your body have a constant metabolism, helping you to not retain the calories you intake, and burning off all the calories you have stored as fat.

and if you can't even handle running right now, just try walking. it'll be less work on your joints. or if you go to a gym, try the elliptical bike, that thing's pretty fun. it's not actually a bike, it's more like...a treadmill/skiing thing...

anyhow, if you have a hy-vee nearby, they have a nutritionist you can talk to as well as a health food section.
i'd go there next.
