Share your accutane experiences. I just started to take it two weeks ago. 40mg

I've started 3 months ago. It's gotten really good compared to before, but some acne still pops out like once/twice a week.

Yet your picture still describes me right now.

Let's see.. I was younger, taking the shit, thought life was all about clearing up my acne with medicine when really it was what I was putting in my face. I was willing to sacrifice kidney function for looks that didn't harm me. I always had chapped lips. I got off the stuff early, and I am not a virgin.

tl;dr: shit doesn't matter, feels bad man

Was on it for 8 months, my joints hurt, my lips were always dry, I was always tired and felt depressed a lot (cried at stupid things sometimes). But my skin is AWESOME now :D

I had horrid cystic acne and was on it for 9 months, only side effect I had was dry lips, but it wasn't too bad as I've always drunk a lot of water.

Cleared up my skin really well, still get a bit of acne here and there but it can be dealt with using standard acne creams from the chemist. Add in a good dose of vitamin D and everything is perfect.

On a 30mg dose of a generic called Sortret.

Now into my 3rd month, face has cleared up dramatically. Chest and back are still bad but fading. Side effects have only been very dry skin on the face and itchy, burning bloodshot eyes. Nothing some chapstick and eyedrops can't handle. Even though depression runs in my family, I haven't experienced that at all. Since starting college, I've been too busy to feel sad

never had acne.
