so ill sum this up quick
started at 150 lbs (6ft tall)
i reached my goal of 200 lbs 2 weeks ago
started using starting strength program at about
178 lbs

I reached my weight goal, with a little bit of healthy chub. I want to get cut now but im not sure about how to do this as I have never seen my abs. Basically all I have done so far is cut out any fried or oily food from my diet and cut my daily calorie intake by 500 cals.
It doesn't really seem to be working all that well though. I have a job where i'm walking around alot, and I do starting strength tues/thurs/sat. Should I start running? Should I cut more calories? are there other secrets for getting your bodyfat % really low?

so far I have lost about 3 pounds and I have been cutting for about 4 weeks. As far as getting a bodyfat % test, I have no clue where or how to get this done, and honestly I think it would just be a waste of time. Ill know its working when I start seeing definition, I dont need little updates.

tl;dr HOW DO I CUT, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE.

If you really wanted to cut, you'd stop eating anything solid, and basically only have protein shakes and water.

Of course, cutting is really gay, I say you should continue bulking up to 275. And then when you get to 275, bulk to 330, and then when you reach 330, keep trying to bulk

take a total of 1000cals off from what you were eating when you were bulking
make sure you are eating the correct foods, no simple carbs, fatty foods, but you should have been doing that to bulk anyway
cardio will also help, just dont go too far with it
as for how long it will take, without losing any muscle you should be aiming to lose 1-2 lbs per week, anymore than that and you will be losing muscle
