Question 4 u gusy. Do push-ups ever get "easier"? ive been working on increasing my amount of total pushups at once, and im up to 55 now, but every single push-up, from start to end is a fucking nightmare and even the first one feels like my arms are gonna fall off, i REALLY have to push myself

OP here. The minimum requirement to pass PT for the Air Force is 45 pushups in under a minute. I've been unhealthy and smoking a lot lately and wanted to see if I was going to pass my PT eval.

ah yea for me i can do 70 now i use to be stuck on 40. I use to get tired physically at 20-30, now i can get to 40-50 before my arms begin to give in and it becomes a mindgame lol (i dont smoke btw)

break it up into smaller sets.
dont always push for max reps. srsly.
go for like 3-5 sets of 20 with crunches/flutter kicks in between.
the 3-5 sets do not necessarily need to be standard pushups, alternate between wide arm, diamond and declined.
try to go for your max one day a week.
