Hi, I know this isin't the place to probably be asking this but I really have nowhere else to go.

Last Friday I had a pain start in my upper leftside torso, which is very sensitive to the touch. I waited till Sunday thinking it would go away but the pain got much, much worse and has spread even to my upper shoulder, back, and armpit/lower abdomen.

I wen't to the ER and they did bloodwork, found nothing irregular, xray came clean, and blood pressure was slightly high. I'm 6'3, 170 pounds, slim and eat for the most part very healthy. Also to note, the week before this I had a sore thoat with slight sinus blockage.

The hospital injected me with pain medicine and IV, etc. but none of it helped. They diagnosed me with something called "Chest wall pain" and given a prescription for 12 pills of ultram. I've been taking 2 tylenol (1000mg) and 2 ultram (100mg) every six hours and the pain has not been getting better or feeling better at all.

I've been putting ice and heat on the area on/off and I'm still in such pain that I could stab the area and it would probably feel better, plus i'm down to two more painkillers which don't even help.

What should I do? I don't have money to go to a family doctor right now and I can't go back to the hospital unless a new symptom pops up, or something severe happens. I'm scared since I'm only 21 and I've never had a problem in my life with my health.

i'd recommend preparing your estate so that you will not burden your loved ones.

You peritoneal pleura may have separated a little from the chest wall or something. Seriously, if they pain is that wide-spread then your doctors sound like some kind of third world butchers if they're not concerned.

I spent 8 hours in the ER, 7 hours in 30 minutes was waiting. The 30 minutes they gave me was to take blood, inject me, xray, and bloodpressure.

I already have a will set in place so thats the last thing in my mind.

As for my lungs, I've had no temperature increase in the past week. And I have 0 mucus or liquid in my cough (if I force cough).

As for the pain, I am going to get my records tomorrow since they forgot to give them to me and I'm going to go to the health department to see if I can get help. If I can't im probably going to kill myself in pain.

OP, go to another hospital NAO.

tell them the same stuff, make sure they do an ekg.

the chance that theres something wrong with your heart isn't that high, since you're still alive, but better safe than sorry.

Op here again, I'm tempted tomorrow morning to go to another hospital 40 minutes away with my records. As for my heart, it seems fine. I personally think this might be a spleen or liver issue? Even though I don't see why either organs would be effected. But god damned whatever it is it feels like when I got shot in iraq 2 years ago.
