morning: bowl of wheaties OR bowl of oatmeal w/ raisins OR 3 hardboiled eggs

mid morning: yogurt AND piece of fruit

afternoon: turkey sandwich OR pbj sandwich AND fruit AND almonds

mid afternoon: two cheese sticks AND almonds

evening: can of tuna OR can of chicken AND can of vegetables (green beans, peas, asparagus) AND one slice of bread

all whole wheat low fat et cetera

looking to lose weight (working) and get trim (questionable), i'm mostly concerned with my carb intake

also, i guess my regime bears posting: 30 mins cardio and minor exercise every day, the 7chan faq's beginner lifting program every other day

should i be taking in more protein on lift days, or will that only make me fatter?

You might wanna consider upping your fat intake. It seems a bit low.

My guess off hand is that's not enough calories to keep an adolescent girl well fed.

If you're concerned about your carb intake make yourself an account at www.fitday.com (it's free.) and log absolutely everything you eat; enter fat, carbs, and protien off of labels, weigh and measure your food like a diet nazi. That way you can see what you're doing each day and adjust your diet based on what you see happening. If you stall out you probably need more fat and protien, if you gain fat you're eating too much. But that way you have a record of what you did so you can judge what it did to you.

He said "all low fat." I took that to mean the yogurt, tuna and cheese were the low fat kind. Was I wrong to make this connection? You tell me.
