Howdy /fit/

I'm 18 and am pretty fit since I started working, I fluctuate between 50/60kg's and used to have a small gut, generally after eating a lot, and my heights about 5'7, now I have that 6 pack definition but no actual lines and quite nice and broad shoulders for a person my height.

I've been wanting this board for a long time, a few days before it was up I was actually wishing for a Health & Fitness board, so I'm quite happy.

But on topic.

Considering this is a health board, then it must cover mental health too.

I've come to realize over the past 2-3 years that I have slight OCD/OCPD, but it can get pretty bad when I'm nervous or stressed.

It was a lot worse last year when I used to know the distance between my TV to the wall and used to straighten everything in my room compulsively without even meaning it.

Now I'm better, but it's more about being clean and still having things square and in line with where it's meant to be.

Knew someone like this, he'd get quite literally sick whenever someone messed with his room, and he never wanted to go outside to avoid crowds.

It all cleared up when he got a girlfriend, who was his psych's assistant.

Wow man you hit the nail on the head.

I forgot to mention if people as much as step in my room, I start to think of how they are going to mess it up, it drives me mad.

And sometimes they do it on purpose, and I am the kind of person who won't get angry no matter what, but when I do it's like a nuclear bomb, but when people mess up my room I get so unbelievably annoyed, it's generally when I go into my crazy self and start sorting things out and washing myself, until I calm down.

>>Also, I feel like being sick if I get up early in the morning, now I have a job I have to get up really early, so I don't get sick as much but if I eat or drink in the morning I feel like I'm going to die, no matter how much I try to adjust my body.

i dealt with this by drinking water first thing. no breakfast, only water. appetite comes in about 10-15 minutes.

as for teh rest of it; self-talk, self-control or therapy. happy to help.

I used to have issues if there were things moved about in a room, even minor things. I was having panic attacks at the time, too. You may want to see a doc and get some Xanax or Klonopin. I didn't have OCD, but my anxiety manifested like that. Go figure.

Yeah drugs aren't really something I'm comfortable taking, and as for a lady, I think they just cause more stress than anything.
