As with most 4channers I imagine, my posture is shit. I'm always very slouched, and my head goes way out in front of my body.

I was wondering if there is any simple at-home things that i could do to promote good posture.

being conscious of it really. I hear basic work out routines like sit ups and running helps.

I have posture number 2, there. I think it's because I sleep prone.

If your are properly working your back muscles and rear should muscles you will not have such horrible posture problems. Speaking from experience as I am a programmer and spend about 9-11hrs a day sitting at a desk but have good posture thanks to the above mentioned and I constantly remind myself to sit straight.

Shoulder dislocations apparently help

I used to have bad posture (number 1) and backpain. I did deadlifts and squats to strengthen my back muscles. I'm sure you can find stuff around the house to do these exercises with.

I fall in and out of good posture. Sitting for a while, I'll probably slouch a bit. When I do straighten up, theres this spot on my back, somewhere to the side of both my shoulder blades flanking the spinal column, where if I do a dip I hear this cracking sound. Both spots feel great afterwards, but dunno if I should be doing that.

Was wondering wtf it is and if anyone has the same thing.
