So, /fit/ here is the deal. I've been working out, running, eating right and noticing gains and losses in the places I want. So I am not starting from a stand-still with this question.
Problem: I am not content with my stomach area (like most people). I have until December 19th to lose the majority of my stomach 'flab'.
My solution: Instead of running 2-3 times a week I am committed to running 5 times a week, a minimum of 3 miles a day. All while continuing with my regular workout regime.
Question: Would 5 times a week be enough to lose about an inch around my waist/navel by Dec 19th? Would I be doing more harm than good?

OP -->Cereal or oatmeal for breakfast. A piece of fruit for a snack. Tuna or egg for lunch. Another snack, usually toast, sandwich (PB) or fruit. Supper is chicken or tuna or eggs or stirfry. Finished with a cup of cottage cheese before bed and plenty of water through-out the day. No fast food for over 2 months, maybe 3.
