sup /fit/ question...

should i brush my teeth before breakfast... or afterwards?
>> Anonymous
ok serious answer here. I have no idea which is better for your mouth, but I brush right when I wake up and eat breakfast an hour or two later.

before breakfast to eliminate bacteria that have festered in your mouth overnight, once again at lunch to eliminate bacteria accumulated since breakfast and ditto before bed.

actually you dont need to brush in the morning at all. its just recommended cuz your breath probably stinks after a full nights sleep

both

sleeping at night you get more germs in your mouth

if you eat breakfast without brushing first you introduce the germs into your system

if you don't brush afterwards you're just asking for cavities

thus, brush first thing when you wake up and then after breakfast

> you introduce the germs into your system

who the hell got sick from not brushing in the morning. You probably think we all carry pounds of impacted fecal matter in our intestines too.

It can actually... crazy huh.

Only problem with brushing before is your food tastes like shit.

oral infection and gum disease? the link between gum disease and heart issues has been around for a while.

as long as you brush before bed you're okay

To guy with a doctor girlfriend, is she a dentist too? No? Then fuck off.

no because dentists deal with mouth problems, not stomach problems

that's like saying that my girlfriend can't speak authoritatively about skin cancer because she's not a dermatologist

After eating is stupid because you're only damaging the already weakened adamantine (from acid in the food). Brush earlier and only rinse later.
