MAN TITS Anonymous
OK /fit/. I've had man tits my whole life. I haven't been a fatass my whole life, but I a recovering fatass right now. I weighed 210 at 5'6" about six months ago. I'm 180 right now. I eat a fairly healthy diet, do cardio, and do weight training as well as body weight training.

Does /fit/ know what the problem is? I'm not mortally obese, and I've seen people who are equally as fat as me without such severe man tits. Is it just fucked genetics? Lack of testosterone? (I don't really have any other signs of low testosterone levels.) Is it just fat? Weak chest muscles? I had asthma as a young kid and for a year or two I was on medication that had some sort of steroid in it IIRC. Is that it?

Is there anything else I can do to erase the man tits besides continued cardio and weight training?

I guess genetics determine where the body stores the fat, cardio and weight training + healthy diet and you should be fine.

get on the bench and start working on your chest.

posture? do they appear less so when standing more upright than in picture? well in any case you want less tit volume so cardio.

cardio reduces fat equally, so whenever the body decides it's time to take away the manboobs, that's the time. spot reducing is impossible.

In all seriousness, you should see a doctor. Often times there is tissue formation, not just fat. No amount of exercise will get rid of the tissue, only cosmetic surgery. Your doctor will be able to tell you for sure. Also, if you need that surgery the more weight you lose prior to it, the better the outcome will be. I had this problem before.

nonsense. docs like to make money and operate.
Skip that shit and just get to work and reduce fat.

Uck, that doesn't sound fun. I've been slowly but surely turning my body around back into the shape I used to be in, but I'm pretty sure these mantits are way too excessive. I'll check out a doctor once I get in a little better shape to fully determine what's up.

Of course weight loss will decrease the size to some extent. I'm just saying there is a possibility of tissue formation. I exercised and ate right and I saw reduction too, but it still didn't look normal. Thats when I went to the doctor. It's a pretty minor operation, nothing to worry about. There's no harm involved in just talking to doctors, and getting multiple opinions.

I'm fat but don't have tits. A very rare breed.

I also wanted to add that I was on prednisone (corticosteroid) as a child for Hodgkin's Disease. That's why I had abnormally large man tits even though i wasn't morbidly obese.

If you work your pecs and trapezius hard enough the mantits will become less noticeable.

Wrong. Corticosteroids don't cause a spike in estrogen levels in the way anabolic androgenic steroids do.

It almost certainly has SOMETHING to do with medication. Pretty much everyone I've seen with asthma has some degree of mantits.

So the fix? Lose the meds. Breathing is for pussies anyways.

They may have been exposed to high levels of xenoestrogens from other sources, but corticosteroids are not sex hormones and should not have any effect on secondary sexual characteristics.

if you've always had big man tits, or after puberty got them then:

See a doctor.

OP i know EXATLY how you feel. Look up Gynecomastia. I worked out and lost 30 pounds. They were still there. Then i started bench pressing with my older brother. My chest got perkier.

I dont mean perky in a good way. I mean they stood out more. Now I wear a jacket or hoodie everywhere

Well, I guess I'm not alone. Looks like there isn't too much help for me besides plastic surgery. Thankfully I have a great soon to be wife already, so I don't really *have* to be incredibly hot to get laid.

I've been working out a ton lately with deadlift, squats, bench, and pull-ups to try to work out the bigger muscles in my body and hopefully trigger a stronger chest. Maybe? I'll keep you up to date /fit/.

perkier like tits, or your chest looked better like a square shape.

i got it too. so i dont know if i should even continue to work on my chest, and just get abs to distract people from the mooobs.

Anyone had surgery on their gynecomastia? I have it too, and it's pretty annoying (given the fact that I'm not overweight), so I have contemplated it.

I pretty much have to wear something over my shirt everywhere I go also. I lost 60 pounds last year and they are still huge. I look around and it seems most other fat guys don't actually have this problem. I guess we are just unlucky people.

run as much as you can op. my advice.
