So /fit/,

How do you feel about working out right before going to bed?

Oftentimes during the week I try to get into bed by 11 at the latest and will exercise from about 10 until right before I knock out. Is this good/bad/neutral?

Pic related, it's my ideal build.

Lots of people say working out in the morning is ideal as you get an additional effect from the boosted metabolism, where as if you worked out and went directly to sleep your metabolism will shut down. But who gives a shit, they say like 75% of the US will be overweight in a few years so if you go to the gym at any time its probably better then the vast majority pretty soon.

Well, yeah. I'm not that tall, and look at that axe. You've got to be built to heft an axe like that.

i always thought to workout at least 3 hours before you sleep, something to do with neurological pathways still being active and making you not sleep as well

I have serious trouble sleeping for 2-3 hours after 1/2 hour of cardo regardless of time. So doing it at night doesn't bother me food wise (i dont eat last 3-4 hours of day), but sleep wise it can fubur my schedule.

Hmm, I've been meaning to start working out in the morning instead. I just find it hard to fit a good breakfast, getting ready for work and getting to work on time as well as a workout. I usually get up about half 6 on weekdays.

Guess I'll have to start getting used to half 5.

Also, I usually take my fish oil right before bed. Anything wrong with that?
