hey /fit/,I want to start doing exercises to make my strikes (elbows, knees, punches, kicks, etc.) more powerful, but I don't know what exercises to do. I am assuming I would want to do plyometrics and o lifts, but I was wondering what specific exercises would help my strikes. Are there any exercises that would specifically help a certain strike?
Compound exercisesBasically what I'm saying isMOAR SQUATZAlso use a heavy punching bag
You train fighting skills by actually USING THEM!I KNOW, IT'S AMAZING!!
>>329674I am all set with my compound exercises. I have a punching bag, but it is some shit filled with water. Will this work for the time being? I plan on getting a heavy bag after I get a new job.
>>329676Thanks, smartass. I am not looking to develop the SKILLS, I am looking to make my strikes stronger. Throwing a punch is a skill. Making it stronger is not. Do you know what "skill" means?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skill
>>329685Just do them over and over dipshit, try to make every hit stronger.
beat something other than your boyfriends cock you faggot
>>329689Just do them over and over dipshit, try to make every hit stronger.YOU ARE A GENIUS.
>>329689Wow.
OP hereAnyone else have any advice or exercises?http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/inmag10.htmIs this any good? Should I swap out the sledgehammer for a crowbar and get ready for the resonance cascade?
Cleans, snatches, etc. Most of the o-lifts are going to make you strikes more powerful if you do them right
>>329793Thanks! Any good routines?
Crunches and jump rope.
