Starting a new Fitness Plan Anonymous
Hey /fit/.

I've been pretty lazy for the past year or two and I've decided I'd like to start getting back
into good shape.

For the past two quarters at college I have been doing mixed martial arts training. I would like to focus my fitness plan around this so I can have a good source of motivation and a way to make measurable progress.

So far I think there are 4 main areas I need to focus on.

1)Strength and speed
- quick bursts of power and speed are very useful especially for striking, and general strength is important all around.

2)Endurance and cardio
- being able to keep going and stay quick and ready when your opponent is tired is one of the most important parts of a fight so I really need to build more endurance, I can only really run a mile or two before I need to stop these days.

should have your body / head positioned more towards the right there for a tighter triangle choke. Oh and point both feet straight up, that helps squeeze the legs together more.

That's not me. ;) I actually have very tight triangles thanks to decent tecnique and massive thighs from walking too much.
