I overdid it last time with the workout and packed deadlifts and squats on the same day.
The result was lower back pain and knees of jelly.
I'm glad I did not get some permanent damage to my knees.
Planning on resting for the next three days to recover.
Anyone else like to share his bad workout ideas?

making an awesome burger - quarter pound of aberdeen angus beef, 6 rashers of smoked streaky bacon, 2 slices of bavarian smoked cheese, and a few slices of flash-fried apple (whole new dimension of taste, i strongly recommend it - especially if fried in the bacon fat) - and then going to the gym less than an hour later for my first heavy workout in a week.

I deadlift and squat heavy on the same day.

You shouldn't have any "damage" provided you're doing them right.

Warm-up with the squat sets... then lift for ONE heavy set on the deadlifts.

That is how badass the deadlift is. More than 1 heavy set will kill you, almost.
