BF is around 4% I believe....

Still ugly and retarded.

He is not at 4% bf, but that diet is mindblowing.
>> Anonymous
/fit/ should really go a day or two without mentioning Phelps.

These threads are such retard magnets.

All the gold medals and multimillion dollar sponsorship deals in the world are NOTHING without the approval of 4chan.

fuck me, 12k calories

And he has done more and fucked more then you ever will.

Anyways, I have a feeling he is 10x better looking then your virgin ass.

Ok, are there seriously any americans here who believe he is not doping? Not detracting anything from the guy, since EVERYONE is doping, he is just better, but, really?

And i honestly believe that diet is pure bullshit. If he ate all that he wouldn't have time to train. Dude takes 5000 calories max. There is no way he eats more than a sumo fighter and doesn't gain weight. I don't care how much he swims. If his metabolism is that high then he's dead by 30.

In b4 thousand of brainwashed gullible americans who never done a sport start bawwwing.

And who are you? A dietitian? Nutritionist?
I conclude you have no idea what you're talking about.

He burns most of it off.

What are you not getting?
>> Anonymous
>>277140

Going by that reasoning then one could assume that everyone on /fit/ who has ever gave an opinion on anything is reaming with bullshit.

inb4 shitstorm (which is only appropriate since this is a thread about Phelps)

Michael Phelps is a pretty cool guy.

Eh eats 12,000 calories a day and doesn't afraid of anything

You're taking my statement out of context.

He/She made an assertion that he'll be dead by the age of 30 with a metabolism that high.

Now, I don't know about you, but that seems like a pretty damn bold statement that seems only a dietitian/nutritionist can make.

I suppose if someone is educated enough to know about it, then it throws my words out of the window.

But I highly doubt it and I can just feel he/she pulled that out of his/her ass.
>> WAIT WAT
Isn't training 6 days a bit too much? not alot of time for the muscles to rest :X
>> Anonymous
He better cut down on that 12,000 calorie shit when he retires
>> Anonymous
>>277161
His body can dump lactic acid like it's nothing (basically the swimming version of lance armstrong)
>>277163
He probably is eating a normal diet now that he isn't actively competing in everything.

think of what he might be able to accomplish if he follows 4chan's advice. the sky's the limit!

I'm not betting my left nut that he'll die at age 30 and not a second more or less. I'm saying that having a metabolism that allows you to constintently burn off that much energy is extremely harmful for the body(free radicals, liver/kidney damage). People who compete at top level sports generally live much shorter than normal people.

>>277142
That other proffesional athletes like boxers/sprinters/OTHER SWIMMERS don't eat that much?
