Okay /fit/, I'm over 200lbs, 5'10, and want to lose weight. I work at a desk job (front desk at a hotel) and my boss is very pissy about looking professional, so I end up sitting on my butt WAY too much.

I know exercise AND eating right is important, but I... I rarely find the motivation for a lot of exercises (More often I just forget to do them.) and eating right, well I don't do the shopping, and more often than not anything I eat I pick up on the way to work.

Thoughts?

Improve on the diet. Exercise takes a routine as well as commitment for it to work out.

Skip the soda (sugar-water), french fries, takeout, anything in a package and start cooking your own food.

there's no magic solution for motivation.

do it for a week and observe the subtle changes in your body. that's what I did.

...I was afraid you'd say that. Its hard to stay committed to exercise and eating right when it will take months for appreciable gains.

Fuck, now I'm getting depressed about it
