/fit/, this is mainly for /fat/ties.

What keeps you motivated to lose weight?

As for me, mine's pretty damn corny. Hell, I doubt it's really that much. But since 3rd grade, before I even liked girls, there was this one girl I liked. Weirdly, that was the great where I lost my social skills and didn't make many friends, and just gained weight. I'm now in my senior year, and can't accept the fact that I never tried to be with her. I've lost 20 lb so far, and I need to lose about 35 more until I meet my goal. I dunno if it'll get anywhere, but I couldn't live with myself knowing I never tried. Yeah, call me gay, whatever. But it's motivation.

awesome, thanks. I really like this new board, I hope it stays. Trolls seem to be the only people who put you down, otherwise, everybody helps each other. Probably the nicest board now.

Jesus Christ you're such a pathetic faggot. Use a name so I can appropriately direct my hate toward you every time you post.

I exercise and "train" because the way I see it is if I'm not in the best shape of my life every day, when else will I be? I also have a reputation as being "that crazy, tough sonofabitch" to uphold.

I think that's really cool, OP. My motivation is the results that I get. I know I can - therefore, I do.

At least you're not sitting there sulking and being fat.

my motivation is really to be funtional enough that in case of an emergency and/or crisis I can actually do shit. Plus actually be able to do parkour stuff, but that also falls under the emergency thing because it focuses on how to escape from a bad situation.

Because I can, I will. I don't want to waste my time and life.

I'm not trying to lose any weight, just building up some stronger arms, legs, and a six-pack. What keeps me REALLY motivated is that there is a girl I'm great friends with, and I'm working out until the day I ask her out and take her to the beach. The rest is self-explanatory.
I agree with the OP, this is a fantastic board. Needs to stay.
