Oh hi.

I'm just a bit curious about my facial hair.

I'm 20, and I've had mustache for a few years now and the outer sides of it is starting to loose its color.
Is it like with your nails? If you are low on calcium, your nails will get white spots?

Can't say I'm the healthiest person around either..

Any ideas?

Pic unrelated.

Hair can change color for a number of reasons:

1) if you're drinking acidic drinks like lemon juice or drinks high in citric acid on a regular basis and its getting in your beard it might lighten the color of your beard.

2) sunlight will change the colour of your hair, especially if youre white. My hair is lightish brown in the summer and dark brown in the winter.

3) genetics. A lot of white people change color. Its a white thing. When i was a kid my hair was blond and my eyes were blue -- my hairs now dark brown and my eyes are green. This can happen in adulthood too, you can change color slightly because of genetics.

"lol white people" is the only suitable responce to this.

i'm also 20, but pretty healthy, and unlike the rest of my hair (which is jet black), my beard has lots of RED and a few blonde hairs in it. (i'm brown skinned btw).

nothing to worry about methinks, just genetics.

When I was very young, I started out with jetblack flat hair with a rather nice texture, if I do say so myself.

I now have curly mahogany that frizzes to highfuck. But the waves look nice. Very romance novel-esque.

it was a shock to me, too. And I am not white or anything.

I'm 25 and have had grey hair on the sides of my head since I was like 12, kinda like how nick fury/mr. fantastic has it.

the rest of my hair is extremely dark brown, except my facial hair which is light brown with a lot of red in it.

mexican/scotch/irish btw.
