lol.

For those who want to take this serious, do pushups daily, as many as you can do until you cant possibly do anymore (physically, not mentally). You can't overwork yourself on pushups, only causes soreness. If you get too sore, just take a day or two off, then resume the onslaught.

Also, alternate wide arm, diamond, and regular pushups for MAXIMUM EFFECT.

wtf only 30. Just do as many push ups you can, 3 times a night for every other night. 2 weeks and you'll be able to do 50 push ups in a row.

I'm usually fucked after like 3 :(

OP, Army veteranfag here. Do whatever type of push-ups you can just so you get those muscle groups going. If you have to do them from your knees instead of the required "front leaning rest"(pic related) then do it. Work your way up to the proper push-up positing and do as many as you can before you go to muscle failure as suggested above. For the love of God get some lean protien in your diet. As a vegetarian I struggled almost my entire career to build up my triceps/chest because I never got enough protein thanks to the shitty DiFacs(Dining Facilitys).

Pro Tip: DO NOT CHEAT. Either use proper form(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Army_Physical_Fitness_Test_(APFT)) or the person counting your push-ups will rape you on the total number you've completed and you'll fail your fitness test. I'm being dead serious. They will fail your ass if you don't use proper form.

Do whatever you have to do to start, but once you get going make DAMN sure that you lock out, go down far enough, and return to the proper position before doing the next repetition.

Oh, one more thing...if you absolutely can't do many push-ups at the start even from your knees then get a friend to straddle you while you are in the push-up position and have them assist you using their bare hands or a wide strap slung under you. It sounds ridiculous, but it's not a bad way to start using proper form while reducing the overall difficulty of doing a real push-up.
