Sliding in Shorts is pro Anonymous
Yesterday I played some softball, It was hot so i thought, im not wearing my ball pants, im gonna wear shorts. and i was in a hurry so I didn't spend 30 seconds to put my sliding pad on my left knee/calf.

Well I ended up sliding into second base and got this beauty. The missing layer of skin is starting to repair itself, but when i sit or lie down for a little bit then get up to walk around it hurts/burns kinda.

I'm going to grab some Aloe gel and put that on it

I know time will heal it, its not my first. but just wondering if any of you have tips/secrets for making it feel better.

Silver sulfadiazine will take care of that.

You need a prescription for it.

thanks, Ill call my doctor tomorrow and try to get in.. Hopefully they get me in that day, instead of scheduling an appointment when it heals itself.

ps.. I put some aloe gel on it.. Holy shit 1 minute after i put it on, it felt like a burn for about 10 minutes. i lied down for 30 minutes in pain, massaging the area outside the raspberry, now it finally feels better, still feels like the new skin is ripping when I walk or flex my calf in anyway.. The aloe did make the skin little more flexible though, tomorrow will tell if the 30 minutes of seering pain was worth it..

lol .. damn i got another softball game friday..
tl;dr: dont try this at home.
