sup /fat/

i was wondering if you could give me some advice or criticism on my workout plan.

monday - back + abs
tuesday - chest
wednesday - HIIT
thursday - biceps + abs
friday - tripceps
saturday - shoulders
sunday - rest.

i have little to no bodyfat, but theres a tiny bit of padding, my abs show through so its not a big problem but my obliques don't really. i think one day of HIIT training a week should be good for it. I already have a sensible diet and i eat every 2 hours.

An entire day devoted for biceps and for tricep?
Seems a bit unnescessary

If you think you have no bodyfat, you are terribly ignorant. You cannot live without fat.

Fine. If you must be facetious.
I have little bodyfat. 6-7% and would like to see it at 4-5%.

Happy?

OP post a picture of yourself or give us your stats

Not really. 4% is in the essential fat range. 6-13 is in the athletic range. In other words, if you go down to 4% and catch a nasty flu this winter, you risk your life. Just trying to help out.

You devote an entire day to triceps but you don't even mention SQUATZ in your post? You best be trolling, nigger.

My friend walks around at 3 percent all the time. He's 6'1 130 ish. It hasn't affected his health, so I think it's relatively believable.

As for your workout, you should never work opposing muscle groups on the same day, especially back/abs. That could seriously fuck your back up, since your abs support your back and when you work them, they weaken, making your back muscles take up the slack. If you also work your back, thus weakening it... injury.

Wow, seriously didn't know that.
I've only started incorporating abs into other days so i'll stop right away. I thought if i did back first it would help on the abs. Never mind. You live you learn.
Thanks!

lurk moar
no moar isolation exercises.
eat moar too. Diet is important for getting stronger/moar mussels

No problem. While, as a /b/-tard, I should laugh at your misfortune, people working to improve their appearance/health is something I can relate to.

Cheers, anon.

/b/ is that way ->
or did you mean to say.
"i think you should do more than one muscle on one day, for example, back and biceps, chest and triceps."

in which case thank you for the constructive advice.

first of all, /b/ is
<--- that way

secondly, what I meant was that your workout seems to be isolation exercises. How can you work out chests only on one day, triceps only on another, etc. Doesn't make any sense, how long are you going to be in the gym for, 15 minutes/day?

if you'd lurk moar, you'd know of stronglifts.com, visit that site.

I noted the site - will check in a sec.
But..
Chest.
Standing wire crosses. 10 reps.
Standing wire pull downs, 10 reps.
Repeat x4.

Bench press. Priamid. 12->10->8->6 (reps/set)
Incline press. Priamid. ""
Incline and Flat flies.""
Decline. ""

Takes more than 15 minutes with 1-1.30 minutes rest.

Yes, there are several different exercises for these muscles. But doing them all is not effective.
For example, the exercises you listed ALL work the major pectoral muscles. You're using the wrong weights if you can complete all of those exercises in a day.

Isolation exercises is mainly for pro bodybuilders for aesthetics (also for pro athlethes or those recovering from injuries). But even pro bodybuilders start from compound exercises, then fine-tune their muscles.

Compound exercises = overall strength

Ok that site is pretty good. I hate you anon.
