Holy shit /fit/.

Forever I had been buying my shoes from a bargain basement warehouse place and had always thought I was a 11 1/2 size -- I went to a retail place yesterday and got fitted for size 13, what a difference it made! These shoes are so comfortable I almost cum when I run.

I was recommended a pair of Asics that cost £80.

Is a good pair of shoes really worth that much, or should I just get a £30 pair?

Shoes really differ brand to brand for instance:

Nike tend to be a softer run with less response and are a bit narrower
while Asics "Gel" system in more responsive and springy, but not everyone likes that. They also tend to be wide in the toe box and fitted in the heel.

Best thing to do, is go try a few pairs on and get an idea of what you like.

I paid 75$ for a pair of running shoes 4 years ago, and they still feel great. Granted, I don't run a fuck of a lot, especially since graduating three years ago and not doing sports anymore.

However, I no longer felt like a woman for buying an expensive pair of shoes after they survived being my running shoes for a wrestling season and still felt great.

tl;dr You get what you pay for.
