So, /fit/, how do you feel about being the most stagnant and repetitive board on 4chon? You encourage shitty noob questions by responding to the same 4 questions EVERY TIME with masses of replies instead of telling them to fuck off, so they just keep coming in with more, "WHAT'S HIIT." (and you indulge, endlessly) Then when people ask questions or want real advice outside of that, nobody responds and it dies in a few posts. This board's entire contents could be summed up in the 7chan FAQ because you guys just let this turning into a steaming pile of shit and noob questions. Enjoy your monotony and lack of real discussion over anything but the same few things!

Fitness demands a constant buzz of motivation, and sometimes reinforcement of the basics is helpful to experienced folks who forget.

people go elsewhere for real fitness discussion, just come here when bored.

/fit/ is a board for people with no idea about fitness. It's populated by people who don't do exercise often but pretend they do--and then they pretend to be experts by repeating the advice that was given to them in their thread.

There are handful of people who do work out regularly, but for the most part, they only bother with /fit/ when winding down before bed, or live in europe.

I don't know about anyone else but I got hooked on /b/ for a short time while I was recovering from an accident. Then when I could start getting active I switched over to /fit/ and began lurking. Reading almost every post & scanning through the bullshit & repeats I ended up learning a lot, finding other good places to go online to learn more about getting back into shape. I learned enough & fit helped me to become motivated & entertained enough that my ortho doc told me he didn't see a need in me going to physical therapy because I was progressing very well on my own.

There might only be 4 or 5 noob questions, but a smart noob will get past them & can learn from others.

If you don't like it here, GTFO faggot

This. /fit/ isn't really about fitness; it's just for fitness noobs. People who really care about fitness will spend time elsewhere

1) how do we 'let' it happen, none of us have mod powers do we.
2) 7chan's sticky wasnt the be-all and end-all of exercise information, it was good, but a better one could be written.

There are a few people who occasionally give out good advice, the problem is most of it is washed away in a /b/ style torrent of shit. Ive taken to posting with a name now to try to help that but i doubt most of the people who come here give a shit anyway, serious people go to serious boards. (so why am i here?)
