So now august rolls around. My scale doesent have batteries so I don't know how much I weigh, but last count about a month ago was like 210~, but recently I've been doing a more difficult job at work the whole last month. Anyways. Family members I only see once in a while keep saying "oh you look so much better, lost weight" etc etc. However I don't really feel I've made that much progress. Is 15-20 pounds of fat loss + moderate muscle gain in 3 months something to be proud of or ashamed of?
I acknowledge I havent been running or doing much exercise outside of work. So now going to ask a blanket question, assuming my pace and progress is lacking:
Can /fit/ recommend : -General tips for turning my "semi-intelligent eating" into a genuine diet that will show results -Exercise or shit to do at home.(I'm not opposed to spending a decent amount of money on supplies). Simply with school starting in a month and my work schedule ontop of that, I dont see myself having time to go to a gym. -General advice for "slimming" down. ie, is one of my big problems simply not running everyday etc? -Any other advice?
