Hi there /fit/

I am a normal sized guy, about 6'3, currently about 188lbs. When I was younger, I had gynocamastia (basically, I had some lovely A cup breasts.)

I had the surgery to remove the breast tissue, but I guess the doc was an idiot, and he left me with 'crater deformations' by taking out too much tissue and fat.

A couple days ago, I got a corrective fat transplant behind my nipples. I look pretty weird right now (right nipple has swollen up. Looks like he didn't quite put enough fat behind the left) but definitely better. I will probably have one more procedure in a couple weeks (I am leaving the country soon after) to hopefully fix any asymmetry. I am really excited about potentially looking close to normal, not being embarrassed to take off my shirt.

Pic not me, but related - that is what crater deformity looks like, after a bad gyno removal.

More of my story:

Having tits as a kid sucked. I picked up some bad habits: negative self image, poor posture from always slouching forward to try to hide my boobs.

I had a nice enough family care doc who went to bat with the insurance company to get my original gynocamastia surgery fixed. The procedure I just had, six years after the original, came out of my own pocket, but lucky for me, wasn't that expensive. (a grand). I am not sure how much a follow up will cost, but I really feel like it is worth it. Especially since fat transplants can be permanent.

I have been working out lately, looking better, a little more lean. I am an attractive fellow, I think, but still struggle with my self image.

I feel like getting this fixed will be a huge boost to my confidence, and probably inspire me to work out more.

Probably too late for that this was six years ago.

Frankly, I am just glad that I have some sort of resolution in sight.
