Hey /fit/ I want to lose approx 60lb and get ripped with relative speed, is setting my goal to january next year reasonable?
>> Anonymous
depends how ripped, if you just mean a basic 6pack and relatively good physique then I dont see why not

the 60 lb will probably be hard. But it sounds reasonable if you want to get it by January.

Yeah I dont want a lot more than a basically set body to begin with, so general concent that its reasonable? awesome, thanks /fit/.
>> Anonymous
definitely reasonable

as long as you are seriously determined, the weightloss will be there by october at the latest, and the 6-pack by december.

Well, since Im currently dieting with about an hour and a half of cardio daily and an hour of weights every second day, im not really working on muscle until Im down to a better weight, is that enough or should I start doing more of something?

I dont have much XP with cardio to be frank, but from what I've heard that should be plenty, I wouldnt rely on my opinion though

Ok, thanks... anyone else have an opinion?

Check out the velocity diet, it's the best "liquid" diet I've seen to date, does no damage, preserves muscle quite well and avoids cravings at the end of it all.

Right, thanks.

60lbs? Depends on how much you weigh right now. It's possible, if you're already 250+.

It's great, and like Anon said, harmless, but I will warn you that it's expensive, and you'll begin to miss solid food after a while.

i was wondering if anyone knew if it could be used for lean weight gain (for instance if you doubled the formulae for calories) or should i just shove 4000 calories a day down my throat and keep up my routines (that would be an extra 500-1000 calories a day)
