Where do I start? Anonymous
Goddamn, I'm so lost.
5"2' or so, 141 pounds, female. School is roughly 25 minutes away and I walk both ways 5 days a week, along with walking approx a mile in phys. ed 4 days a week. Starting tomorrow, three times a week, maybe four, I'll be doing the fat burn program (heart rate 132) on my gym's treadmills for 30 minutes. I don't yet have the endurance for more intense cardio, but I have to start somewhere.

So, /fit/, moderate dieting considered, is this an okay program for weight loss or should I be doing something different?
Pic unrelated.

do you worry about being attacked when you walk to school?
You seem to be doing a lot of walking which is good. how long have you been walking this much? have you lost any weight while doing so?

My area's really safe. As for how long, for the past four years at least, but subract the summer months. My weight rollercoasters, but I'm always lighter during the school year, so yeah, I lose. This June my lowest was 133.

I also wear ankle weights at home and sometimes to school, (more in winter because I wear pants more often, huuurrr). Idk if I'm wasting my time though?

Anyway, ultimately my goal weight is 125.

Hyper extension of your joints. Make sure you're eating right too, exercise isn't all of weight loss and it sure doesn't give you the right to eat worse

Thanks, anon! You guys are so awesome.

Diet's been questioned, so what I've been eating:
Breakfast: Egg beaters with cheese, apple
Lunch: Sandwich (turkey/lettuce/cheese on sourdough) and apple
Dinner: Generally healthy meal, my family rarely if ever goes out to eat, especially to a fast food joint
Drank: Seltzer or water all day

I kind of have a problem with grazing though sometimes, especially when I'm not at school, and I feel like it's probably sabotaging me to some extent. Brb buying celery lolol

Sounds like she's just wearing them while she goes about her day.

Ankle weights will only hurt you when you're doing ballistic movements, like in an aerobics class.

Wearing ankle weights while you walk is a great way to make your gait less efficient and burn extra calories without significantly stressing your joints.

It's sounds like you are doing pretty good.
You may want to alternate treadmill with exercise bike if the gym has them just to mix things up.
let us know how it works out.
also, maybe add some protein, add a hardboiled egg with each meal. good luck. feel the burn. ignore all your catty friends that will try and knock you down
