Getting big now...? Mr. LTE
My other thread got washed away into the vast expanse of forever. So I start new one with an update. In case you forgot who I is, I'm 409 to 198 guy with loose skin and stuff who thought he was still fat.

I went to the gym and had a talk with a friend of mine whose been bodybuilding for 25 years or so, and asked what he thought about the whole "Screw surgery, just bulk the fuck up" approach. To which he agreed would probably be a lot better idea, as well as cheaper and less damaging as far as scarring and whatever else, so we basically worked on my diet, and changes to my weight training to benefit building more mass.

I did not however, ask him one thing, and thats how often I should take my protein, I already take 2 scoops in water after workout, should I have another shake BEFORE working out? (1 scoop). etc.?

You have to understand I'm very new to all this "Putting on mass" stuff, as I've done nothing but cut for the past 2 years. Also THANK YOU 4chan /fit/ for all the positive comments in my thread and giving me the courage to talk to someone IRL about bulking, etc. You guys rock.

You NEED 1 gram of protein per 2lbs of your weight to not lose muscle. If you intend to gain you want to get 2-3x this much. It is suggested that more than 30g at one time isn't absorbed. The best time to have it is when your heartrate is highest.
