has anyone here done HIIT on an erg?would it work just as well?
Erg = elliptical?If so, yes and yes.If not, no and yes. HIIT isn't about what you do, it is about how hard it gets you breathing. If you can make yourself nearly collapse after doing an activity for 30 seconds, then you can HIIT it.
Erging is basically the seated row, and it's supposedly one of the most efficient movements you can do.Look at pro rowers; all they ever do on the off season is erg. Monsters!
You can probably do it, but I don't think it can be done fast enough for HIIT. Can anybody disprove?
