Yo, /fit/. Fatass here, trying to lose some of my excess weight.
First of all, I bought a bike and now ride it to university and back (around a kilometer from my home) and just for fun occasionally.
But there's that thing I wanted to ask you about, /fit/. See, I also started doing morning exercises - 30 sit-ups, 15 lifts of a 6 kg weight with each hand and 10 push-ups. Thing is, after a week of doing that I started to get bad leg cramps every morning, to the point where I simply can't do more than two sit-ups in a row. Am I doing something wrong?

Good job on wanting to lose some weight and getting a bit more active.
You need to increase the amount of exercise you are doing. The cramping isn't from excursion, it's from your muscles being unhealthy. Start stretching, ride your bike more and add more reps. Remember to stay hydrated as well.

Stretching as in trying to reach the toes in a standing or sitting position, right?

Yes. That's a good start. I'm sure you could google some good stretches. If your quads are tightening up while doing the situps, you should be sure to find at least one stretch that includes them. Stretching, especially at the point in which you are at right now is very important. Your muscles haven't moved like this... maybe ever? They need to be loosened up before and maybe after working out.
