So /fit/, I've been dieting for a few months now and have amazingly dropped like 30 pounds bringing me down to like 165, but I still feel like a gigantic blob demon monster thing.

Do you have any suggestions on good exercises to do in the morning to help with losing weight/waking up? I hear 60 sit-ups each day is good. What does /fit/ think?

Before you eat breakfast, go out for a 30 minute run or do 30 minutes of cardio.

That'll really kickstart your metabolism.

Abs are the same as any muscle (though they've got a bit more endurance); they need their rest as well. 3 sets of 20-30 reps twice to three times a week.

Cardio is the be-all end-all to weight loss, though. Second only to dieting!

I live in the North in a freezing hellhole (during wintertime) and sit at my desk 8 hours everyday at work. Will this still work? Also, is there any other way to do this without freezing myself to death during this season?

Treadmill or thicker clothes and a nice mask...breathing in the cold air is the only real problem. 5 minutes of running and I'm usually nice 'n' warm regardless of the weather.

Layer your clothes. Wear something like sweatpants (with running tights on underneath if it's REALLY cold), a long sleeved shirt, a sweatshirt, and a jogging jacket. If the cold is extreme, your number one priority is to make sure your hands and ears are decently covered before you run.

Otherwise, enjoy 30 minutes of cycling between jump roping, push-ups, sit-ups, running in place, and jumping jacks indoors.
