How do I get abs like this?
AHAH SAGE SAGE, no wait, seriously. I'm not new to fit, and I know quite a bit about healthy diet, exercise, ab workouts, etc.

My REAL question is, how do you get abs that are so well balanced like This picture for example [middle]? vs the other two, one is uneven and not symmetrical, the other is even but cut in a different way [inb4kitchen]

Is it just genes that determine the muscles’ superficial qualities? Or are there certain methods of achieving even-symmetrical profound abs? Or achieving cut flatter less bulky abs [first picture example].

Genetics.

Another example, phelps and the other guy that swims.

This really confuses me. Am I going to have funky unbalanced abs from doing squats, and if I do get those kinds of abs, can I work them out to be a bit more balanced?

I'm not that obsessed with the superficial aspect of abs, but I am curious/confused.

100% Genetics? Theres absolutely no choice in the matter?
Does one form have any advantage or disadvantage over the other?

Just have your tendons attached and reattached through surgery to make sure everything is symmetrical. That's what all the guys with perfect abs do.

THIS??
People actually undergo surgeory to re-structure their abs? I Really doubt I'd undergo something evasive for a superficial attribute, but what's it called?

That's exactly what I look like...heavy obliques.

AHAH SAGE SAGE

jk. yeah it's 100% genetics. there's no specific training you can do to shape them in another way - aside from OATZ

What genetics are you talking about? There's just fit and not fit enough. Look at pro body builders, nearly all of them have perfectly simmetrical abs.

that's not true at all.
maybe all your magazine body builders do, because they've gotten surgeory to be more photogenic.
I've seen people with intense abs, with each muscle in dis-array with another, it's not like he hasn't worked as hard as the other guy, it's just different.
