Is 2000 calories good to maintain on for someone that is 5'4" and 142 lb, but currently sedentary? I've been running a lot since February, at least 45 minutes a day, though I was on vacation for a week before school started and I've been busy re-adjusting to school, so it's been almost four weeks since I've done any exercising. I plan to start again soon, but is nearly 2000 calories not too high?

In that case, go lift some goddamn weights. Barbells only. Deadlift and bench, go! Then you can go home and eat 2600 if you please. You're in your prime, boy.

Well, as I mentioned, I'm going to start again soon, though I'm pretty busy at the moment with school. But ok.

I said lift weights, not run. Weights are key.

I have a barbell and some plates. I guess I'll start tomorrow, I should be asleep for a few tests I have to take tomorrow anyway.
