hi /fit/. just a ez/quick question for you my friendly friends.

basically i've been maintaining a calorie deficit of 500 by just eating 500 calories less then my bmr (so around 1500 cals) Anyway i've been eating 50% whole wheat carbs 20% protein and 30% fat. I was wondering if I can cut out all fat or if that is doing it wrong, or if I should just eat less fat? I'm not sure how much fat my body needs to not FREAK THE FUCK OUT and start holding on to fat etc. So what say you /fit/

You have it the wrong way round. anyway. probably a troll:/ but 50%protein 30% carb and 20% fat.

>20% protein and 30% fat.
You got it backwards, its 50c/30p/20c and if I recall correctly most people use that ratio for bulking.
Anyways, your body needs fat (the good ones, monounsaturated/polyunsaturated) to function properly (not saturated fat though). Try doing 40protein/40carbs/20fat or even 40protein/30c/30f. Find out what works best for your body

If you're eating at calorie deficit you'll lose fat regardless. Try to eat around 6 times a day and arrange your meals so have your carbs while you are the most active during the day. and of course do not eat carbs before you go to bed/late at night

try 40/40/20 i've had some pretty good success with it
