so /fit/, I am a 5.11 220-230 (have not checked in a while) lb fat ass with like, no upper body strength.

I want to get in shape, but fucking hell motivation, how does I get it?? I also don't have a gym membership yet, still working on getting a job, and if i get paid enough I will get a membership at the gym literally around the block.

But the motivational issue is still there...

SO what does anon suggest? What about those metabolism boosting pills? will they give me like the 'get up and go' to run my fat ass around the block?

Last time I lost all my weight I was on the cocaine deit... I don't want to go THAT route... help me anon, your my only hope.

its seriously a greater difficulty for me to go from 0-1 than from 1-60mph if that sounds clear.

That's why I was thinking maybe some of those metabolic boosters (from what I can tell by reading the label, they are vitamins and caffeine...) to chemically and plaseboing me into movement...

The metabolism pills won't help shit. If you're too lazy to get up and go work out now, then taking a pill isn't going to make you want to. It just speeds up your metabolism, and since you're probably not eating right anyway, that's not going to help.
Find something that motivates you, what works for us can't work for you. It might be getting ass, looking better, playing sports, what the fuck ever, just do it and think about that while you're exercising instead of looking at the clock/distance you've gone.

I was thinking I could Pavlov myself with my drug addictive personality. I have a fondness for opiates, so I was thinking I could reward myself with some opiates after a good work out, and only do it after working out. I figure the natural endorphins would just multiply the morphine's effect, and in short order I would be addicted to working out.

True. I had no motivation until i reached that point thinking "wtf am i doing with my life?". I dont think anyone can seriously lose weight, especially a large amount until they have something that really hits them and gives them the determination to get there.

Mines was 2 things:

1) I was tired of being fat and i wanted to lose weight so i could actually be found attractive. Not much fun at parties while everyone is away fucking/chatting each other up while you are left on your own.
2) Contradiction here. I want to join the army, and have no interest in chasing pussy as i'd rather focus on getting fit enough.
