>>195363 I tell ya man, running is just all around good shit, and to be honest, a cold climate is great for if you are insecure about running. No-one is around, you can take it nice and easy but still get a good workout because of the added challenge of teh snow and such.
I only started running recently, and the deep winter was the best (and I live in northern Minnesota). It was -10 F (actual temp, not windchill) at times when I was running, but really the body regulates your heat just fine with proper layering ( hat and baklava, underarmor shirt, a cold weather running coat, polypropylene long-johns, shorts for added crotch warmth, and windpants for the worst case, less otherwise).
Pic related. It was -14 F that day, coldest run ever, but I felt fine the whole time.
