OP, you need to start with your diet. What kind of iced tea do you drink? If it's like Nestea, don't drink it because that stuff has a lot of sugar in it. Just stick with water, and if you can manage buying tea bags - get those too. When you buy food, split it up into 4 sections - the meat/protein, fruits, vegetables, and bread/carbs. Then just look for cheap, but good food to get with your $50.
As for exercise, you can powerwalk for 45-60 min if you don't want to jog. Biking is good, too.
