Hey /fit/. So I just came back from the doctor's, seems like I've had a minor sprain on my left wrist, so I won't be able to work out for at least two weeks. I'm very discouraged, as I love lifting, and I still have 20 lbs to lose (currently 200, want to get to 180 in ~20 weeks). Anyways, I'm gonna do what he says and not lift, so I'm basically gonna just do cardio for 2 weeks. So here are my 2 questions:
1) Should I change my diet and not focus so much on protein now since I won't be lifting for these 2 weeks? Tips on what I should eat during my 2 weeks of cardio only workout sessions. My diet before the injury consisted of 60% protein/35% carbs/5% fat.
2) Will going 2 weeks without lifting cause major catabolism of muscle mass?

bitch, be a pimp and wait the two weeks just to spite your muscles because they'll get their ass pounded once the weeks are over.

1) Up the goddamn fats, ffs.
2) Unless you're on a really heavy caloric deficit it shouldn't be too horrible.

Bonus question) You can still get at least a leg workout done, on the smith machine (one-armed smith squats and variations) if the wrist is really screwed up.
