My dormpartment's cafeteria serves food from 11:00 - 1:30 and then 5:00 - 7:00. The meat of the main course is usually either chicken or beef, and there's always a buffet-quality/style salad bar and Soup of the Day available (and ice cream for those who love their diabeetus), as well as bagels and sandwich stuffs during Lunch.

My query is this: I want to start doing the several little meals thing, but don't really know how to when these are really my only times to eat during the day. Any suggestions?

Why not make sandwiches etc at breakfast/lunch for later on in the day? Grab an extra bagel? Or buy some food for yourself you can have in your room, like fruits, cracks, vegetables etc
