Ok /fit/ I know you love your oats. Just tell me, how many different ways do you eat it? I guess if I mix it up I can eat it whenever, but I just don't want it to get bland on me.

Why is /fit/ so addicted to oatz? I don't really like oats too much, although I'll have some oatmeal every once in a while. Like once a month at most. So anyone care to change my mind, or can I keep on not eating oats and still be great. I really AM in very good shape.

half a cup of oats, a single scoop of whey powder, and enough milk (I don't measure this). Microwave for 2 minutes. Stir, let sit for a bit and enjoy. You can also add fruit, nuts, peanut butter, etc.

Oats... Will they Blend? Hellz yeah. I blend 1cup oats into a powder, then add unsweetened almond milk, 1 scoop chocolate whey, 1 cup frozen strawberries, 2 tbs spoons all natural peanut butter... and blend into a smoothie, great morning meal prior to a long ass bike ride.

quick oatz 1/3 cup
hot water 1 cup
microwave high 90 seconds
add 2 teaspons of maple syrup
add one chopped bannana
add nut/seed of choice - ie peanuts or peanut butter, walnuts or flax seeds.

Anon likes oats because they're a great source of low GI carbs, protein, and fiber. They help lower your cholesterol levels. They keep your colon and bowel clean and healthy (And we all know that Anon likes packing his pooper).

They're also cheap as fuck and delicious.

I make mine by buying the biggest, cheapest bag the store has, and some powdered skim milk. Measure up 1/3 of a cup into a ziplock bag, along with the right amount of milk powder. When I get to work, I add water, mix, and microwave until delicious and creamy.

If I want a change I add cashews, ground ginger and/or cinnamon, a small amount of cocoa powder and once, chilli flakes, some palm sugar and lime juice.

I usually buy variety packs of organic oats so I have a different flavor every morning.
BUT if all I can get is shit regular oats because my grocery store sucks, I cook with water and add in some honey, or a dab of brown sugar. Honey is GOOD SHIT.

I started using this very simple recipe over the last week, and I think it's so amazing I want to share. A word of warning though: this breakfast is high in calories (around 500 give or take) so it's not suitable for everyone.

- 50g old fashioned oats
- 8 fl oz skim milk
- one banana, sliced
- one tablespoon of natural, no sugar, unsalted peanut butter
- one whole egg

Instructions:
1. Mix milk and oatmeal in a large bowl. Beat egg in a cup then combine.
2. Microwave mixture for 4 minutes.
3. Remove, add peanut butter and slices of banana, stir and microwave for another minute.
4. Eat
