Hey /fit/

I was wondering. Where do you get your protein from? I've been eating eggs, pasta, oatmeal, refried beans, and nuts mostly. I weight about 125, and I'm getting about 50 grams of protein a day. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Is this enough protein if I'm trying to gain muscle mass? Or should I have more in my diet? Also, what are some high protein containing foods. I've been thinking about just eating deli meat by itself to get more protein (Feels good man,) but is deli meat healthy?

RDA for an average adult is supposedly 45g a day...

If you're looking to gain muscle mass you should eat 1g/lb of body weight, I'm pretty sure you can get away with less but it really depends how intensively you're training.

Easy sources:

Eggs (my #1), Tuna, Cottage Cheese, Milk, Whey Protein supplements, and obviously decent lean meat (chicken/turkey breast, the odd steak that sort of thing).

Pro Tip!
You're body can only absorb a small amount of protein at any one time. Spread your protein intake throughout the day, especially if you're taking a supplemental shake (split it into two drinks instead of one).
