Hey /fit/
Somewhat original content very related.
So how do I tell between cold sore herpes and horrible life ruining herpes.
>> Newb
I hate to break it to you, but cold sores are the "horrible life ruining" herpes. There are two strains of herpes: oral and genital and you can get both kinds in either location. The only real difference is how bad your outbreaks are. Some people don't have outbreaks, at all, ever, other people have sores every day of their lives, most people fall somewhere in between.
No matter what your symptoms are or how frequently they occur, once you have them you can pass them on at any time.
There is no such thing as 'mild' herpes

How the hell does 70% of the US have herpes simplex 1?

And if its transferable to the genitals why the hell don't ALOT more people have genital herpes.

I'm only fucking virgins from now on.

Also nice story bro.

you can get them from simply kissing or sharing a drink/chapstick/anything else around the mouth

but, to point out, you cannot get them when y ou're born from your mom acc. to my dr. gf

they are the same thing. also, if you have a cold sore, and touch it, then touch your genitals, you now have genital herpes. someone can get genital herpes from a cold sore, and that cold sore could be from sharing a drink with someone. so don't ever judge someone with herpes. you can be a prude and have it.

and if you're of NW-ern european descent, you've got about a one-in-ten chance of being immune to HIV thanks to ancestors who survived the black plague

short explanation:
-black plague attacks ccr5 receptors
-black plague killed off a ton of people who had the ccr5 receptor that could be attacked
-leaving behind a lot of people who didn't have the normal ccr5 receptor
-hiv attacks the normal ccr5 receptor
-black plague killed off a lot of the people with normal ccr5 in NW europe
-leaving hiv to have a tough titty time infecting about 10% of nw-eurotrash-descent peeps
