Sup /fit/. About two weeks ago i got very drunk and fell face-first off a large fence (bottom of my jeans got caught on the spike so I basically pivoted). I stopped my fall with my left hand which was very painful and swelled up at the time. Its been two weeks now and I still can't do anything with my wrist. Its not constantly in pain but if I pick up anything heavy or turn it, its very painful. Oh and also it clicks a bit when I move it now. Any doctors here?

you could have a broken scaphoid
go see a doctor, scaphoid fractures can cause a part of the bone to die and you don't want that

Shit, you could be right. There was a lot of pain on the side of my thumb when it happened. Thanks for the help, I'll go see a doctor

Lucky you came to the internet first, going to see a doctor is the last thing you should do. Those professionals never know what they're doing.

Doctors aren't free, lest you live in one of the enlightened nations (ie not the US).

Guy probably wanted to make sure he absolutely needed to go to the doctor before shelling out hundreds of fucking dollars like I did when I went to the emergency room when I tore a muscle in my ankle and shelled out five hundred fucking dollars for an x ray that didn't detect anything and NO FUCKING PAINKILLERS.

Alcohol is an excellent source of bone-healing calcium.

Your bones have like a thin layer of 'gristle' on them in certain areas.

You may have fucked that gristle up royally, I did the same thing in almost the exact scenario.

Eh, depends on how hard you fell. If it's swollen and it hurts, you might have fractured it. A doctor would be your best bet.

Fucked up yea? I 3rd degree sprained my ankle, then sat in a hallway at the hospital for 4 hours, had some x-rays and got charged 1200 bucks.
