What's fits opinion on beef jerky. The only downside I could see is the high sodium but half of a pack of about this side would only be about 120 calories and its packed with protein.
Too expensive, but nutritionally great if you don't worry about sodium. Much cheaper to make it yourself.
>>132893Thanks.
Op here again, what is the downside to high sodium intake anyway? I mean, I dont really eat too high of sodium, beef jerky is the only high sodium thing I eat other than soda crackers once in a while.
>>132899High blood pressure. The sodium backs up into your blood stream, causes your blood to retain water, which increases their pressure.
Make your own, it tastes so much better and it doesn't cost a fuckton.
>>132905But if you have low blood pressure, on the other hand, a high sodium intake can be beneficial.
>>132914Shit man, i didnt think anyone had low blood pressure these days :)
>>132920I have, it makes me dizzy when I do handstands
>>132920I've had 100/70.
op here, i do have low blood pressure, also money isnt a problem right now, but time is, and I quite enjoy these. Thanks
>>132905Drinking lots of water will counteract a high sodium diet. Piss out the sodium, etc. Also beef jerky is fucking awesome.
I have 100/70 also. I think you can have it, so long as it's in moderation. In other words: don't rely on it.
>>132988To an extent. After a certain point you're throwing off your body's natural balance if you're only using water intake to control the sodium. There's a lot of other things you're pissing out too and you can bet your ass you're still going to have high blood pressure.also, I haven't seen you post in a while.
>>133018Well sure, it's not gonna help you if you're spooning in salt from the bag.And I've been keeping busy, finals season + handling a girlfriend who seems to be getting more clingy.
