Hai /fit/ after some consideration i've decided to give creatine a try. I've done all the reading I needed so that's not the problem .I just can't seem to decide wich brand I should buy. So /fit/ what is the most cost-effective name brand "100% pure creatine monohydrate" available ?Also opinions of users/anon who used creatine would be appreciated.
>>288665Creatine isn't natural don't put that shit in your body
yea man, creatines like Steroids...
>>288696>>288701both trolls.creatine IS natural, red meat contains it.Steroids ARE natural, your body produces them (Testosterone, cortisone, etc.).Fitanon usually says it doesn't matter which brand, it's all generic.
>>288712So NoXplode and all the other crap are the same things ?
>>288752They are based on the same ingredients, yes, the mixture may be different though.Mix creatine, arginine, caffeine and whotnotothershit and you get the same effect.
>>288757Ok, does a company sell pure creatine ? I'm not interested in all the other shit they throw in it.
>>288781Disregards that I suck cocks, GNC does sell it.Did anyone tried GNC home brand creatine ?
They all do the same thing it really doesn't matter, get the cheapest I say.
>>288712Your body also produces creatine.
Don't buy anything from GNC, it's overpriced like fuck and isn't really that good compared to other brands. I've been training on and off for about 9 years now and the best shit I found is Prolab Creatine Monohydrate. It's cheap and works really well.http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/pl/creatine.html
i hear creatine makes you look really bloated, is this true?
>>289554in a (very)small percentage of people. If it does this to you just stop taking it.
So.. what happens when you take creatine but have a sub-optimal diet?I know 2 skinny guys who bought creatine. I'd like to wish them luck, but i thin that they will have no results?
>>289586Creatine is helpful if you work out hard.Does not depend on the diet.It will enlarge your muscles by binding water in them, allowing you to lift more. You also avoid the risk of depleting your muscles of creatin.
It has some other health benefits as well, better concentration, minimized heart attack risk and whatnot.
>>289594really? i heard you revert to normal strenght after you cease taking creatine.
Monohydrate can make you retain too much water so you look a little bloated (some people like this).Creatine EE (ethel ester - or something like that) doesn't require loading and won't make you bloat.I like NoXplode because it has nitric oxide and creatine and caffeine which is a good blend right before a workout.
>>289609Creatine EE has been proven to be slightly toxic and less effective than creatine
