Question /fit/, is it better to eat a meal before or after exercise? I've heard arguments from both sides (eat after if you want to gain back teh muscle, eat before if you want to loose teh fats)... and I've heard more valid arguments for after (if you do it before you get teh stomach cramps, bloodflow, metabolism screw ups etc. etc.), but spill some knowledge on me /fit/. Also what time of day (mornings, evenings) is it better to work out?

eat a meal 1 hour prior to your workout. You can try 2 hours also. you can also eat 1-2 hours after you workout but its generally recommended to chug in a protein shake within 30-45 minutes after your workout. You can workout anytime during the day as long you have enough energy.
