What's /fit/ general opinion of Men's Health magazine. A guy at my work brings it in every once in a while and I was reading it on my break. I didn't really take any advice it had but it seemed entertaining enough and I was thinking about getting a subscription.
Magazine is for homos
>>361133This is actually the thruth, ive meet many man who buyed it but didnt actually worked out, eventually i found out they were gay.
Yikes, better watch out for that guy at my work then.
>>361140>many man> buyedgtfo underage fag
Most of the information is just common since. Every once in a while they have a nice food section.
not too great, you can get the same info off the internet in 5 minutes.>>361133fer serious. the only person i know who has this magazine is gay and does not work out or really embody health in any way.
if i had a choice in the world to burn anything, it would be that magazine, then it would be mcdonalds
erm. woman read men's health also. and btw it's not about men's pic's or whatsoever. There is also other stuff like fashion, entertainment, gadgets, workouts, diets and other stuff in it.i don't know what the gay fuzz is all about? they even have articles how to improve sex in bed with your girlfriend/woman etc. i'm straight as fuck.
>>361165Since you picked it up he thinks you're gay. HE WILL MAKE HIS MOVE SOON
Anyone noticed the "Are you big enough, Is she faking it? Do oysters really work?" on the background of that picture. i lol'd, THAT MAGAZINE IS OBVIOUSLY FULL OF INFORMATION ABOUT WORKING OUT, I WOULD BUY IT NOOOOOOOOW
you know a magazine sucks when it says 100% useful on the coverwhat the fuck haha
>also other stuff like fashion, entertainment, gadgets, workouts, dietsyes there is. men's fashion, entertainment, gadgets, workouts, diets. unless you're a huge tomboy or a dyke I don't see why you'd read this
There's just something wrong with men's magazines with men on the cover.
Women's Health is superior.
>>361952And its readers are just as likely to be into men.
>>361942i'm a man and i am straight. I'm not joking, some woman i know also bought men's health.
I like it for the unintentional lulz. The ridiculous pickup advice, the supermodel/actress interviews where they make it seem like some regular guy could actually hook up with them, the 5 minute abs workouts, the endorsed and paid for hair/skin product recommendations, it's awesome.
I got their book on diet, it's pretty informative.
MH is only worth getting, if ever, a few times a year. They just recycle their cover stories (Flat Stomach/Amazing Sex/Summer Body/etc) over and over again with nothing really new added.
thats the life story of EVERY FITNESS MAGAZINE EVER, just different demographics and diff cover models.you cant 'reinvent' the wheel, even poliquin said 'nothing has changed since the early 1900s' regarding HOW to get big and strongand before you bitch about your advanced p90x shit and fartlek HIITs and dbolrecall that one of the events in the 1896 olympics was the 1 handed barbell snatch. so take that 'functional bosu training'http://weightlifting.moonfruit.com/#/onehandsnatch/4510512932
hey, whatever gets you healthier.but work out more than you read the magazine okay.
I find it to be good, nagging and unrequested advice. Hence, I subscribe. At least it keeps me motivated somewhat. Like having a fitness trainer living with you but not related to you.
With Men's Health, you really only need one issue since they all contain the same stuff ("THE ULTIMATE WORKOUT SET", "BETTER SEX IN 2 DAYS", "THESE ARE THE CLOTHES YOU SHOULD BE WEARING"). The only reason to browse new ones is for the random "healthy" recipes they throw in. They're usually pretty easy and quick to prepare.
>>364010This. They have some good recipes once in a while, but they do recycle things. I buy it once in a while if there's something good, but you're all mostly right.Just watch for their 125 Best Foods issue and look for recipes, that's all you'll need.
so the general consensus is if i enjoy sticking my penis into other guys anuses i should read this. Otherwise its alright for the odd recipe
