/fit/ i have a question

when i go to the gym should i work out to the point where is physically hurts? i went to the gym 2 days ago and i was very sore the next day. i just went again today (still sore from 2 days ago) and worked out harder than i had before.

my body not physically hurts. not like sore muscles but my arms and elbows feel bruised

im not complaining, i kinda like the feeling. but i wanted to make sure that this is what is supposed to be happening, and that im not pushing too hard.

What? Sore muscles should feel a bit like they're bruised. As long as it's pain on the muscles and not your joints you should be ok.
