Fuck almighty, my foot hurts. Mr. LTE
Okay, so I walk to the gym (2 miles there, 2 miles back) and I have this really bitchin' planter's wart thing on my foot and its KILLING me. Anyone know some quick fixes for these things? I'm in the process of moving right now so a doctor would have to wait for like a week-ish, and I'd like to destroy this thing now.

Cirno unrelated.

Well thank you for your medical opinion Dr. Lawrence, now can we actually give some advice on a health board?

Yeah, go to your local drug store and look for stuff on Planter's Warts, I've had a few and what I used to get them to go away was basically something sort of like a band aid, but round, that went directly over the wart and also acted as a cushion so that it wouldn't hurt so damned bad. In the center of the little round band aid dealy is medicine, more like stuff that dries out the skin I think, if I remember correctly. In about two weeks or less it should peel off and you should be good to go. Check em out, they were really helpful for me.

You're supposed to be changing the band-aid every few hours as well too, but there's directions and what not that you can read.

They also have portable dry ice things that might work faster. They kinda look like q-tips.

Picked up the band-aid style removers, lets hope this works. Thanks anon.

I've had a plantar wart for like 6 years. I've tried all the solutions, (cryotherapy), plasters, creams, etc. Nothing's worked. I got so pissed off some days I'd heat up a pair of scissors over the hob and start hacking into the bastard till it bled, but that just made it worse.

I went to the doctors just over a week ago, and they suggested the current thing (which apparently works) is to put duct tape over the wart for 6 days, take it off for one night and sand it down with a pumice stone, and then cover it up again for 6 days.

Duct tape works apparently because it's got 3 layers, and putting it over the wart deprives it of oxygen, which it needs to survive.

I'll post back in a few weeks to let you know how it's going. After the first 6 days I went at it with a scalpel and tweezers, and for the first time, it didn't hurt, so i was able to dig deep and pull out most of the root.

Good luck OP, I fucking hate plantar warts.
