Yo guys, just figured I could throw this out here, as google seemed somewhat vague with its answer.

My nose has been bleeding a lot today, and no, I haven't been picking.
I started a job on friday at a metal fabrication shop.
I.e, lots of grinding/polishing/burning metal.
Didn't get a blood nose then. Worked as a laborer Sat and Sun, shoveling fucking clay for 8 hours. Got fuck all sleep.
But today, my nose has started bleeding.

TL;DR

Could breathing in all this crap flying around in the workshop, and hay fever from pollen outside due to summer, be causing my nose to bleed?

Anyone heard of this, or should I just go see a doc?
It's nothing huge, just a bit concerned.

yes it could, go see a doc or your lungs will be destroyed.

Tell me the shop is:
A. Well-ventilated
and
B. You wear a facemask. I'm not talking the wimpy little paper things from the dollar store. I mean the ones with the organic cartridges you have to change every few weeks.

Hmmm. I will have to take a check, to be on the safe side!

I was just using a face visor, don't like hot metal jumping at my face.
I'll inquire about the bigger face mask.

And yes, it's ventilated OK.
The whole side of the 80 foot wall is 95% roller door.

Thanks.

no machinist on earth uses a respirator, unless they are grinding graphite. You are an idiot. Metal doesnt just float around in the air.
