hey /fit/i'm 16, and so i ask you this on a day where everyone seems very helpful in /fit/:I'm 5'7.5", I would like to be taller.Am I likely to have another growth spurt? I seem to be fairly behind with puberty as I have very little facial hair. Also, if I am still in with a chance of growing, is their anyway to maximise it while I'm still young? Lots of protein, calcium maybe?thx for help
I kept growing til i was 20. When I was 16 I was probably around 5'6. Now I'm about 5'9. If you started puberty late (like myself) then there's a good chance you're still growing. If it's really bothering you try and see a doctor. I was prescribed testosterone supplements to help me on a bit.
underage b&eat healthy meals with sufficient nutrients, avoid junk food and skipping meals
not much you can do about itjust eat enough healthy food and hope for the best
>>299950>>299955>>299958thanks :)by healthy food and nutrients, what are the ones I should try hardest to get my RDA of - and should I exceed it?
i'm not sure about which specific vitamins but definitely go for at least 5 pieces of fruit and veg a day - aim for a rainbow of colours. At 5' 7.5" you're still taller/as tall as that most chicks. That was always my biggest problem with being small - no girls want to date someone shorter than them so as long as you're not into tall girls you shouldn't have a problem.
