Hey /fit/ how long would I have to do cardio activites such as running or swimming to eat around 2~3k calories a day and still keep the same weight? I know Phelps eats around 12k a day but he swims all day. I'm pretty sedentary at 5'5" and 100lb. Does anyone have a guide to how long exercising to how much you can eat? How long do you exercise and how many calories do you eat?

I'm 5'8" 145lbs and I eat around 1900 a day

assuming you probably need about 1700 you want to eat an extra 300-1300 calories a day...you would need to run somewhere between 5 and 20 miles a day

Wouldn't I gain weight considering my base calories is 1000 a day?
