soup, /fit/

I'm trying to lose some weight. I've began doing at least 30 minutes on my exercise bike a day, ~70 press ups, 200 sit ups and 20 chin ups. I manage to keep to this most days, but my main downfall is my diet. I'm having real trouble trying to stick to healthy foods. To be honest, they're disgusting. Can /fit/ suggest any delicious foods that are good for you, or how to make myself eat food that I find revolting?

I eat a lot of peanut butter sandwiches, are they good for losing weight? I never even considered them.

They can be, if you get enough protein, use healthy bread, and don't add sugars by using jelly or honey, etc.

Enjoy not eating the most nutrient dense food you can find.

well, you said "healthy". even healthy foods can make anyone gain weight if you're eating over your calorie limit. the idea is to look for healthy foods that aren't dense in calories so it fills you up more. peanut butter is something like 220 calories per 2 tablespoons. if you put that on something like celery, you could basically double the amount of food you're eating, while only increasing the calories by like 30-40%

I eat yolks with my egg meals once in a while. I'm just giving him ideas for low calorie meals.

Some of us don't like eating large amounts of fat and carbs at the same time because of the synergistic insulin response and we don't want to have high amounts of glucose, triglycerides and insulin all at the same time.

Oh, and I also use my powerball a lot. Will that do anything in the calories department?

If you find eating healthily difficult then give up and join /ck/.

Its not difficult to eat a plate of vegetables, if you cant even do that then just an hero right now.

No, do cardio if you want to lose weight.

Also want to add no matter how many pressups, situps and chinups you do it will not reduce weight. You can still keep doing them, but to lose weight you need cardio, and 30 mins isnt sufficient imho if you use an exercise bike.

so did you start eating healthy foods thinking "oh my god healthy food is nasty"

or did you start eating them thinking "i bet it'll actually be pretty delicious"

because the power of the mind and suggestion is ridiculous

or are you just eating the wrong fucking food

uh you should go into it knowing healthy foods aren't the best tasting things

some of them are infact awful

but condition yourself to stop eating shit foods, eat for results not for taste
