Take advantage of your ability to eat things that can not taste very good. Eat some raw vegetable with each meal, very good for you.
As for balancing carbs and protein, I dunno. Try eating about the same volume of carbs to protein with each meal. Whole wheat and whole grain breads and such are good for carbs, so is brown rice. Lean meats, milk, nuts and fish are good sources of protein.
Maybe take a multivitamin so that you know you aren't missing anything important. When I'm deficient in something, I crave food that has that vitamin in it (I can taste it in my mouth even though it's not there when I have a craving). >>450029 Do you get cravings as well, but in a different way, OP?
