create a 15-20% deficit between calorie intake and use, eat complex carbs and protein in every fucking meal.
For the next 3 weeks, all that should be in your shopping basket is good carbs (oats, brown rice, decent pasta, fresh veggies - not beans though they're full of sugar) 1% fat milk, lean meats that you can cook (buy an entire fucking turkey, take skin off and cook the bastard in water with onions and garlic for flavour - voila 3 days of protein)
tl;dr grab the ebook BURN THE FAT FEED THE MUSCLE and make sure to read the first few chapters and the last few ones in the next 3 weeks, then read the whole thing through at least once when you feel like it.
