Right, go for fresh fruit and vegetables, no white bread, no large servings of pasta, salads, the usual stuff, essentially you just want to stay away from things like packet noodles, fast food and soda. If you steer clear of the obviously unhealthy foods and count calories, dieting is really very simple, and no diet will work for everyone, try to go to a supermarket, and just explore a bit, read the nutritional information about things before you buy it, you want to aim for about 350 calories per meal, and 5/6 meals a day. Freedom is key, find something that fits the description and tastes nice enough that you can stick to it.
