Augmented Perception/Senses Anonymous
I always listen to music when I run, and I often do when I lift weights. Something I've noticed is that when I exercise, the music seems to be going slightly slower than when I listen to music on a day when I've done nothing but sit at my computer. This is also true when I get back from the gym and immediately get on the computer and watch animu or something, but it's harder to notice then. I'm guessing working out heightens my senses or something like that, so I percieve things more clearly, process sensory information slightly faster. Anyone else notice this?

I've always noticed this too.
Don't worry, /fit/anon, you are not alone.
However, I have no explanation for it, either.

its because of the increased demand on the CNS. Just like if you squat high weights a lot then all of hte sudden your hearing gets wonky and you see spots.
