I'd say you've been starving yourself. It's not really self-recognizable, the body does amazing things (sacrifices) to survive. I would rather you eat 2000 cal working out, than 800 without. That's far too little.
The minimum energy necessary to just lie there in a bed all day is 1400. I'm calculating with averages, for your exact caloric needs, we need three numbers: age, height, weight. But won't vary much, it will still be very close 1400 cal/day, whatever numbers are given.
By eating so little, you're basically causing your metabolism to stop. (as in, turning off the furnace). Nothing gets burned. You are killing your ability to burn food as most of it gets converted to fat once you start eating again.
So is this anorexia? No, not quite. A true anorexic can eat 200-500 cal per day. A big thing with this group of people is "·To be hungry and not eat is mastering their body·" This is their mantra. You're not quite there, but almost.
The most important solution to this is exercise. That's what's breaking you out of your undernourishment habits. You're creating a huge need for energy, you can still be fit and healthy, and eat more. You will burn up "lots" of this if you just keep on weight training.
Please, keep it up. Don't stop. Keep going. Keep exercising. Get strong. Get stronger. "Fit" people burn through lots of energy. Your resting metabolic rate (burning rate) will ? increase, even when sitting doing absolutely nothing you'll burn more.
