i have 1800-2200 calories a day im just not to active, and what type of cardio
>> Anonymous
Cycling is good if you're not coasting and you're getting some decent cycles per minute. Climbing is a true calorie burner.

Another good activity is running. A good pace is 10 minutes or less for a mile (preferably 8 minutes or less).

Both of these get you outside as well, which is much better than being stuck in a crappy gym.

gah lack of replies :(

>>33703nowhere to climb here, what is coasting?, and i prefer using a running machine then running outside :P

running will help you loose the handles, then sprint sets can help you get more defined

When I say climbing, I mean going up hills on a bike. And coasting is when you aren't pedaling on a bike but you're just letting your momentum carrying you.

Running outside rules over running on a machine, just so you know.

>>33707, sorry but what are sprint sets :P
>>33712, thanks but its a preferance of mine to joy running on machines more idk why, and i think ill start cycling more tomorrow, there are a few steep hills around here

running can do both, so can sprints.

op, just do cardio, alot of it.

ignore the cardio people, op. your body fat is not that high. lift weights, and do it heavy. it'll take care of any fat loss you need and put some shape on your pansy body. and the endorphin kick is worth it by itself.

men lift. so get lifting, man.

This guy is right. Weight training actually gives your metabolism a jumpstart that lasts far longer than cardio. This is the reason why so many body builders have almost zero body fat and yet they do almost no cardio. Simply having muscle mass causes you to burn more calories a day (muscle is heavy, and your body burns calories just carrying it around all day...though obviously this assumes you don't sit around at home 24/7).

Why just lift when you can do carido in addition to lifting and get an even bigger boost?

Cardio is important too, you know.

And OP: YOU CANNOT SPOT REDUCE FAT. There are no exercises that will target stomach/love handle weight as the body doesn't work that way. When you burn fat you burn it in constant ratios across your entire body.

run you bum
its not that complicated

You don't need to run, just do SSSSQQQQQQQQUUUUUAAAAATTTZZZZZZ!!!

In agreement here; you can't target body fat locations. Of course, the body can target specific sites for fat deposits; men's waists unfortunately happen to one of those sites. Diet is more important than exercise in this regard.
