You can do cardio everyday but it's a good idea to give lifting a day of rest...

24 hrs is enough to repair muscles

>>35549No, you're retarded.
48 hours is the minimum. 3 days rest in between is suggested.

You can over-work your muscles and cause damage to them. The more damage you cause, the longer it takes for them to repair.

For instance, Brent Butler, when doing 300, over worked his muscles so bad that it took his body 9 months to recover after shooting before he could begin a work out routine again.

So I'd recommend not lifting weights more than 5-6 days a week. Your body needs at least some rest time.

He coulda compensate the time between workouts with his voice, even his quietest whisper is a shout!

You should really give yourself a day a week to wash away the acids that build up from constant exertion. Especially with lifting, you shouldn't work the same muscle groups two days in a row.

Cardio is pretty safe to do daily though, if you have a complex about it.

Do that for 2-4 months and they call it boot camp. Bodyweight stuff can be done with practically unlimited volume.
