Get some sun on your back, rinse in the shower, towel off carefully. Quit playing with them. Don't eat greasy crap for a while.

im actually a VERY healthy guy. i dont eat that much junk food if any. the only grease i usually get in my food is a couple of dabs of olive oil i use to grease the frying pan when i make eggs.i usually have eggs around 3-4 times a week.

In which case, your diet isn't your problem. I'd really recommend giving them sun if you live in a hot place or are getting good weather. I get the occasional oil bump over my shoulders/chest and it dries them out within a few hours.

A couple more tips, if you have long hair, try pinning it back. If you have short hair, try adding a moderate amount of a drying hair product like gel or something. I find it stops my hair getting so oily.

i did this a couple of weeks ago and my forhead acne is pretty much gone now. i heard that wearing tight clothes irritates body acne so i stoped wearing undershirt and my back acne just spreads. slowly. and even a little bit is on my chest. nothing really big or red but noticible and if i run my hand over it it feels like a lot of little bumps

This. It's OTC in some EU countries and short doses of it work wonders.

accutane

Maybe it works in short doses but it does nothing in the long run for big stuff. I once took it for 1 year and I saw little improvement from day 1 to day 365.

Never tried it but I heard many cases of depression while taking it. Maybe because the kids are fucking fags and they are sad they are taking the strongest stuff ever I don't know. I just wouldn't mess with body chemicals like that

I was recommended accutane, but I hate needles so I declined (need monthly blood tests); and am currently on Tetracycline.

im 22 and i have bad fucking back acne. i was able to get rid of it on my face through dip method, but my back is still as bad as ever. not op.

hey i bad acne all over my back and face, and then i took acutane for 8 months, and now i might brake out a little once a month every now and then. Acutane works great and will get rid of almost all of your acne permanently. The only bad things about it are having to worry about getting your GF pregnant because it causes birth deffects, and how bad it damages your body while your on it. It creates extremely dry skin, can make your blood pressure and cholestoral rise, and will give your the worst chapped lips and sun sensitivitey ever. While i was on it i got a 3rd degree sunburn because it made me so sensitive to the sun, and the really dry and cracked skin. It did not make my blood pressure or cholestoral rise at all. But definently ask your doctor or dermatologist about it.

My doc had me try tetracycline before setting me up on Accutane. Unfortunately tetracycline didn't work for me.

The blood tests were a pain, but the results were worth it.

wear a clean shirt to bed. makes a world of difference, especially if you're not one who washes their bed sheets weekly.

>It creates extremely dry skin, can make your blood pressure and cholestoral rise, and will give your the worst chapped lips and sun sensitivitey ever.

This is ONLY WHILE ON IT. These issues are nonexistent after one finishes Accutane. Also, all are easily taken care of during treatment with proper moisturizing, usage of sunscreen, et cetera.

OP here again. to all those who took acutane. y do u need blood tests? and i work out 3 times a week and this sounds like a heavy drug. does it effect u in any other way. my main concern is of course my muscles mass.

Accutane worked for me; however, it caused me to have nose bleeds during class. :\

I can tell with you posts that you do weights. It could be a hormonal thing, you could have the best diet and skin cleaning regime and still have acne if its hormonal. Doing weights increases your testostrone thus increase acne. Or it could be a fungus infection, you could use the dandruff shampoo 'Nizoral' which will clear it up in now time.

What do you use to wash?
Get a ph 5.5 skin-sensitive creme without parfume, or other shit.
Acne sufferers often think they should use heavy stuff like real soap.
The opposite is true.

PHISOHEX (Triclosan)
BENZAC AC (benzoyl peroxide, same shit in pro-craptiv)

you can get those OTC, they work.

also, Minocycline from doc. it works

i never knew this at all. that would suck if it were true. is there an age were it cuts off? im 20 years old right now and thought it would go away at the end of high school but still hasnt and kinda seems worse.

>>116096
yes, i actually do wash with regular soap. i didnt know this either. i thought soap would b good because it cleans ur pores and all that junk u hear about. what should i watch my back/chest with when i take my shower if soap will mess me up? and that skin sensative cream should be applied when my back isnt wet like in the shower right?

No, to clarify: Stop using soap and use a sensitive or medical shower gel instead.
Ph 5.5, skin sensitive, no perfume, no preservatives or other shit.
Your skin has a natural acidic shield, if you use soap you destroy it, making it easy for the acne-bacteria to spread.

cont: Do not scrub or rub your skin.
To get dry, gently pat your skin with the towel, don't destroy your skin.
If you have dry skin afterwards you could try a skin sensitive creme.

cont: and don't expect the acne to vanish in two days.
Think weeks.
Other than that: acne.org and I highly recommend BPO.
