Hey there /fit/!A week ago I stopped weight training due to a lack of time (exams coming up) and startet rope skipping every other day to lower body-fat.Now those shakes have a high amount of calories and I´m not really building up muscles atm.So should I still get the daily shake or not because it hinders the fat-burning?Btw I´m no fatguy and have been working out for 1,5 years (bmi of around 23,5).tl,dr:Continue protein shakes when I only want to burn fat?
I guess its no problem, as long as you maintain a 500 cal deficit..
>>196415But if my body has no real use for the protein, I could as well save the money? (I still continue eating high protein, low fat stuff, veggies, etc.)
your not bodybuilding, but your taking a protein shake? Yeah id say its safe to stop...
no; unless you get the cheap kinds with a bunch of sugar it's fine. Simple carb and sugar intake is what you really have to worry about.
Thank you guys.Have some fucking comfortable slippers!

They're quite calorie dense and powdered, so if you're worried about excess hunger you may want to replace those (limited) calories with solid food.If you just want to be quick/convenient and willing to tough out the extra space in your stomach keep chuggin em though.
