Quick question for ya /fit/. What music do you listen to while you're workin out? I've been out running every morning for the past week and the beautiful stillness of my neighborhood in the early morning is starting to get piss-boring.Any suggestions as to something that keeps ya goin?
Classical for long slow runs, techno for HIIT pure sprints and 400's, and death metal for lifting
i'm getting tired of my same old music. i've been listening to faith no more's "album of the year" every workout for like 3 weeks.
Inside the gym I don't really pay attention to the music. But on my bike ride to the gym every morning, as I tend to go early, I would play heavy metal to keep me motivated in the damn cold.
Some JunkieXL's been ok...some Zebrahead for sprinting and burnout runs. AC/DC for lifting/crunches/etc
Anything focusing and up-tempo for cardio. Anything sufficiently aggressive for working out.Music taste threads always suck.
I could give a wet fart about taste...I just want to know some bands/tracks that get people pumped up. I suppose you can judge for yourself whether they're aesthetically pleasing AFTER you're in shape.

Someone should start to make playlist for workouts with their apocallypse and zombie shit.
listen to some classical
I try to avoid listening to music when working out. It sort of feels like artificial. I don't know if that makes any sense.
at the drive-in, black sabbath, danzig and the rolling stones mostly.
