I'm a submission wrestler.
Here is my workout.
Handstand walk - 500 steps
Four point - 100 in both directions
Bear Crawl - 250 steps
Reverse Bear crawl - 250 steps
Crab Walk - 100 steps
Reverse Crab Walk - 100 steps
Bridge - Hold for 100 Breaths
Ab Strengthening - 250 drops w/ 20 pound medicine ball from 3 feet
Jump Hang - 100 x 5 seconds
Pull Ups - 100
Chokes - 10 left/10 right x 10 seconds
It's getting kind of easy. I don't want to increase anything cause the fucking thing takes forever as it is.

Yoga is great...also, very unorthodox, but try ballet. Strength and flexibility with grace always helped me on the wrestling mat.

Really? Your trainer or fight manager hasn't told you what extra exercises you can do? By submission wrestling are you talking about pankration?

Anyway... kettle bells. Every single fight I know, including myself, use them. Turkish get ups, double hand swing, snatch and press, one arm presses... Also, some of the bjj guys I've met actually roll in swimming pools. Might be something you may want to look into. Not sure if it will help any as I'm strictly a striker.
