Motivation problems Anonymous
Im 6'2'' 200 lbs 23 years old. Im in decent shape just from running/freeweight shit/pushups/pullups. However that only takes you so far. I am reluctant to buy another gym membership since it seems that the hardest part about going to the gym is actually getting to the gym. Any motivation tricks you guys know that i could maybe use to kick my ass into gear and go to the gym 2-3 times a week?

Suck it up and go. Crockpot psychologists suggest you can form a habit in roughly three weeks. Man up and go those 9 times in that period, and afterwards you won't need motivation, because you'll be so used to it.

Someone related my facial structure to Brad Pitt. Thats all the fucking motivation I need. Knowing that there is a slight chance with enough dedication and willpower is all I need.

Just get this image of you, the image you really, really, really want to be. Make that image as solid as you can in your head and keep it there day and night. Every time you get a little lax in your routine, bring up that image. Every time you're struggling to pull out that last rep, bring up that image.

Hell, its even helped me with my diet. Last night my father, I still live at home - 18, asked if I wanted any pie, ice cream, or frozen pizza at different times while we were at Wal Mart last night. I turned all that shit down, bought some Weights and running clothes, went home, and put down a can of mandarin oranges.

A single picture can motivate you completely.
