let's talk about time!

if i work out 5 minutes before i go to bed (usually im more tired) will this have any adverse side effects? when's the ideal time to work out? from 3pm - 11pm.

secondly, does wanking have any effect on weight gain etc., my thought is that it is a protein sink.

The only adverse effect could be making it hard for you to fall asleep, as working out increases your blood pressure and heart rate.

From what I've heard (various texts, doctors, gym rats) early afternoon (roughly 2:00 - 3:00) is the body's peak. Of course, this is right in the middle of most people's work day, so fuck that.

I try and workout when I first get up, at least on days I have off from work. Gets it out of the way. If you're doing it just before you go to bed, there's 2 problems: Your body is at its lowest energy-wise, and you run the risk of going "fuck it, too tired, goin' ta bed".
