Hi /fit/. I used to be in really good shape in a lean, martial-arts style sense (focusing on lower body strength), then I had a really nasty episode of SAD, gained forty pounds of fat, and lost a lot of my muscle.

I'm viewing this as an opportunity to try getting in shape from a different angle. I'm want to focus on muscular endurance this time, and to try to get my upper body to catch up to my lower.

I have access to a full set of weight machines, so I can easily work out most muscle groups. I also know an obscure Chinese martial art that will let me exercise any motion you can name that the machines don't cover, but that takes discipline so I'd like to keep it to a minimum.

What kind of exercise plan would /fit/ recommend?
