I am a newfag and basically want to get a little fit. I have never worked out before except for running every once and a while. I want to get a little muscle mostly on my arms and stomach, my legs are already way too big me thinks ( fat probably )

Hm... I'd say get back into just a bit of cardio. It doesn't look like you need or should lose any weight, but muscle? Yeah. Hm... I suggest SQUATZ myself. And do some abs. Cut out crap food. The usual drill. Just hang around the site for a while, there is plenty of advice everywhere you go.

OP still, I tried a little bit of cardio and I suck. I have a treadmill ( my dad used to run marathons before he got arthritis) I can run 2 minutes @ 8mph then 1 @ 10 mph and I find it hard to breathe. Weakfag is weak

I'm same height but fluctuate between 155-160.

You have to work your stamina up. Find a form of cardio that you enjoy (running, cycling, step climbing, etc...) and simply work it. Practice proper breathing (in through the nose, out through the mouth).

It'll come. Don't fret.

Unfortunately, genetics REALLY played me a bad card. Weak knees. I still jog/run, though. My favorite kind of cardio.

Maybe i was just at an advantage when i started cause i understood muscle groups, and while i'm no expert, i'll lay out some things for you.

You're skinnyfat. Yes, you're thin, but the lack of definition implies bodyfat. Hence why cardio isnt really needed if you want to bulk up some. That said, you'll want to look into more full body stuff. squats/press/rows/pullups or pulldowns, +others

I did pass gym, in Canada you only need one gym credit in high school, which I did in Grade 9.

Gym was horrible, I suck at sports, and basically all athletic activities. +1 for organized embarrassment.
