it's not from working wrong, it's from working abs too much. A lot of people think the more crunches they do the flatter their tummy will be. They do 1000 crunches a day and their abs bulge out with the layer of fat over them still there. That's not why some otherwise fit people have a little fat there tho, it's just they have to work a little more to burn that stubborn area off.
