Alright /fit/ I need help serious(Plus I'm tired of these "I'm fat fat, help me!" threads).

For the last couple weeks, my rear most tooth on my left side starting hurting like. And it still does today. When I looked in there, it seemed like I had a whole new tooth growing. WTF!? I can hardly eat and drink. What's going on? Is this my wisdom tooth or some thing?

yes its normal i have my wisdom teeth. i havent had them pulled though..

Definitely a wisdom tooth. Consider getting them removed if they cause more pain.

mine refused to poke through the gums, they are just sitting back there

you don't necessarily need to get it pulled out, unless if it grows to the side or if you don't have enough room to grow another tooth.

The reason it's hurting is probably because it's beginning to break through the gums. What I did when that happened was just rubbing it with my tongue, feels real good. Just hope that it grows properly, the effect after having it pulled sucks.

Fuck I cant really reach it with my tongue. I was really freaking out cause I never had any tooth problem like cavities or whatever else before. thanks /fit/. I may need to get this pulled now tho as my insurance will be running out soon.

K heres the deal. Its def. a wisdom tooth. You will want to go to your dentist and will most likely have a panorex X-ray taken. If you have one wisdom tooth you most likely have 2, or more likely 4 (one in the same spot on the other side on the bottom, and one on each side on the top behind your back teeth.) The only reason these are extracted are due to pts having pain. The way the tooth comes in has no bearing at all on whether the tooth needs to be extracted or not. Some people have larger jaws/mouths that can accommodate wisdom teeth. You obviously do not due to the pain. If you are going to be put out for this procedure they may suggest that you have any other wisdom teeth extracted at the same time.

AKA go to your dentist, may need 4 wisdom teeth extracted.

I had the terrible mistake of letting mine grow out because I am absolutely terrified of the dentist.

The pain that came with them growing in was TERRIBLE, but I was fucking stupid and still didn't go.
It ended up growing out weird and chipping, which then led to a tooth abscess and even more pain.

I took anti-biotics and got three of them pulled. One more left to be pulled buuuuuut I ran out of benefits for a while.

Ouch, sorry to hear that. I'm 23 and never had mine pulled because I have no insurance and fuck if I'm paying for that. When they first showed up (was around 21-22?) I was scared this was gonna happen, but so far so good. Don't even notice em now. Guess I was lucky.

The worst part of it was when the tooth was growing in and it was catching the meat of my cheek when I chewed. All I could eat was soft foods for 5 days
