FFFUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCKKK.

Done 3 sets of 15 of these badboys after not working out for a month.

Two days later and they sting like fuck.

Anything I can do before or after workout to prevent the pain?
Pic is google imaged.

The pain means you're doing it right. Don't sweat it.

Ummm a warm-up, perhaps?

Lots of stretching when you are done.

Pain is weakness leaving your body.

rest until the pain goes away and do it again.
It shouldn't hurt (as much) the next time.

If your doing it like in the OP pic, at least out some weights in your lap to make it a bit harder.

HEH I remember when I discovered those I had about the same reaction.

Keep your protien intake high, drink some whey before your workout and afterward. Factor it into your daily protien intake.

Whey tends to be more anabolic then your other options so this is the best time during the day to use it.

You can build a setup with 1 1/4 galvanized piping for about $10.

I have found nothing as effective for relieving soreness as doing a "light" version of the same exercise. I don't mean do a workout, just crank out a few and move on.
