Is there anything wrong with working out on your biceps and triceps on the same day?

I have a bench and a bar with a lot of different kind of weight. What I've been doing lately is cramming biceps, triceps, chest, shoulders, and back all in one day (mon, wed, fri).

Is there anything wrong with that? I don't want to end up getting deformed muscles or something. I like this schedule though.

I can't tell if you're being serious or not. What's wrong with curls? That's my only bicep work out since it's the only one I know with a barbell.

your routine sucks and probably only includes isolation exercises

enjoy learning that you've been doing it wrong a year or two from now

I used to think so too, until I did inverted rows.

My biceps STILL hurt from 3 days ago, more than they ever did doing curls.

Make the switch now:

Looks like a good addition to a bicep day, I'll give it a try and see how it feels.

Overtraining FTW.

Get a split that works your entire body over the course of a week, and make sure you separate them properly. Mine is a beginner's split:

MON: Back, biceps.
TUES: Legs, Abs
WED: Off, maybe stretching.
THURS: Shoulders. Just shoulders.
FRI: Chest, triceps.

Obviously each day spends a lot of time hitting those areas as hard as I can. You'll burn yourself out if you run out and do 6000 curls three days a week, and you're liable to pull a tendon too. Your muscles grow while they're at rest, not when they're worked.

Well I was planning on just working out with my upperbody until I got a little more comfortable with working out. I have pretty strong calves/hamstrings already just from skateboarding so much my whole life. Hopefully by January I'll have enough to buy a gym membership and start working out with my full body with more exercises.
