ok /fit/ im new to working out and ive lurked around here for a week or so, so what i want to know is why are squats so important? i see your always tellin people to do them. also after i do a set of squats my hearts races and i feel out of breathe, whats goin on here?

May have something to do with the fact that YOU ARE USING PRACTICALLY ALL THE MUSCLES IN YOUR LEGS AND HIPS WHEN SQUATTING AND IT'S A HEAVY ASS WEIGHT EXERCISE THAT HAS THE HIGHEST ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND MAKES YOUR BODY PRODUCE GROWTH HORMONES.
