Hi /fit/ this is my first time hear and I figure that you guys can help me, I am morbidly obese. I can get around,I go out and I have a nice life and all,no self esteem problems, but I do have stamina problems as well as the fact that I am shaving years off my life.

I want to know whats the best way to start getting myself back into shape? I am around 4-500lbs and 6'6. What is the best regime to get into and what will be the most effective and keep me motivated?

To be honest I never want to be skinny but I would like to be around 250. I do want to be healthy however.

Any advise is very welcome

Who cares if you are "shaving years off of your life"? You're only going to enjoy live in to your 40's anyway, if that even. Stop worrying about it, if one has the genetic capacity to reach 500 pounds you simply cannot lose weight, it is who you were born to be and nothing, not even gastric bypass surgery could ever change that. It's just like the women that get fat after pregnancy, they were genetically predisposed to do so as they have terrible genetics, they were not meant to have children and that's why a great percentage of them have c-sections during labor (God does not want their fat children to live).

how did you even get that way? not meaning to be rude, i'm genuinely curious

but you should lurk around /fit/ for awhile do get the idea of what kind of foods you should be eating.. i'd put off the exercise until you've dropped a bit of weight. it's really bad for your joints. if you drink soda, eat fast food, candy, etc., stop. depending on your diet now, just doing that could help you a ton
