its impossible. tabata calls for 20s of 100% all out work followed by 10s rest for 8 intervals. i do it on either an erg or just sprints in the neighborhood - realistically i hit true 100% for 2-3 of the 8 intervals at best, and i'm in better shape than all of you.
try it, it works, but you'll never truly achieve 8x100% efforts... hence, impossible
