Hey guys, I'm planning buying my first pair of running shoes, and most of you /fit/ people prefer either Saucony or New Balance shoes.Which ones are most affordable as a first time buy? Why do you like the ones you like? Also, which brand would you say has more cons than pros?
Fuckin tims, motherfucker.
>>27354awesome, I have the same exact New Balance.>>27359Why the fuck would you run in boots?
>>27362To destroy your ankles, obviously...
>>27362Do you have any opinion on Saucony?
Asics
>>27362Manliness.
>>27368I don't get it. Boots are typically known as footware that supports the ankles and prevents injury, which is why they're worn while traveling over tough terrain like when hiking.
>>27423they don't have the same kind of cushioning in the soles for the one. running in boots is bad for your joints.
I try on shoes then get the ones that most closely conform to the shape of my foot and or the lightest. Any extra weight is compounded by the fact it is furthest from the axis of rotation (your hip). Your feet travel more than 2x the distance you run.Ideally run barefoot.
>>27423hiking <> running.
Based on the OP picture you should get something similar to the right ones. The left ones appear to have a less flexible sole and running is done mostly on the front of your foot. There is a reason 'flat foot' is derogatory.
