You'll find it hard to do barbell strength training without a barbell. Just join a fucking gym, have a little bit of discipline, don't allow yourself to make excuses.
You can get a half decent barbell with 300lbs of weight for around 400$ in North America, but I'm not sure about in Australia, because you guys are so fucking backwards. Assuming you can get a barbell and some weight, then you can clean the weight and front squat, or steinborn lift, or build a wooden power rack, or something. Don't make excuses, they are for the weak.
