heres my problem: I NEED to do cardio, but i can't lose weight.

I lift every other day, and I was wondering whats the best way to do cardio and increase my heart strength and leg strength and stuff, while not losing weight? Should i eat a TON like 2 hours before?

Sprinting will ensure you train your legs and heart without losing too much fat. Warm up for about 5 minutes (stretching is important) and then just sprint. I would do 3 sprints until failure (rest till I feel ready in between each).

Running uphill is also great.

im sure if you maintain a bodybuilder's diet, ie - a fuckload - then your weight loss should be negligible. not that i know, i'm merely guessing.

eat right after and and one and a half before you lift, something like a whey shake with oat and maybe a banana. do your SQUATZ, and then more whey, oats and super foods.

Jump rope.

Also cardio is very vague becuase wieght lifting is classified as cardio becuase cardio refers to your heart working harder to supply your body with more blood. Can't you feel youre heart beating faster and here yourself breathing harder when you are lifting?

But if you are talking about the kind of "cardio" like running, i suggest Eliptical (reistance + incline) or HIIT on a jump rope.

Sprinting a lot will also build bigger muscles than when you go for endurance. (If your legs arn't really all that developed yet.)

Seriously, look up olympic ice skaters who do the 500m sprint. Upper legs as thick as tree trunks. The guys who skate longer distances are way smaller than the dedicated sprinters.
