Anon have any experience with P90x. They seem to have that whole muscle confusion thing down well.

I don't personally but a friend has been doing it...he seems to like it and is doing good. I'd rather do a little research and put together what I want to do myself.

perfect if you don't want to research and turn your brain off for 1 hour a day.

p90x is great, if you stick to it with a good diet, you will put on muscle, but that really goes for any exercise regime.

what i like about it is that it breaks away from the traditional idea of SQUATZ and all that jazz. do it, to mix up you training and get a little variety

I thought little of it then did the leg day with a friend. All exercises were 1 set of 25 reps, and most didn't use any additional weight, and we only used 20lb dbs for the ones that called for added weight.

I'm in rather decent shape, but after that I couldn't walk normal for a week. It's definitely intense.

It's like CrossFit, but you have to pay for it.

muscle confusion prevents progress. how the hell are you supposed to know you are getting stronger if you never do the same exercise twice. p90x will get you lean, but not strong.

Confuse your muscles by adding 5lbs on the big compound lifts every week

Lol, gj guy who has never even seen the program....

Actually the muscle confusion is in reference of the variety of workouts you can do that keep your body from adapting to the workouts.

You are supposed to keep track of every rep, set and weight lvl that you are doing the workouts to and they even give you a nice sheet for you to keep track of that stuff on....All in one torrent

I use it when I can't invest 30 mins to get to gym, 1-2 hours working out in a crowded ass gym and then another 30 mins getting back home....good shit if you don't want to set a plan

you WANT to adapt to a workout. ie squats. you WANT your body to adapt to squatting.

people are confusing mixing shit up with progression
