I've been doing weights for almost a year and no improvements that I can see I do 1 hour four to six days a week and nothing the weights and heavy???

you should start a routine that involves reaching plateaus, deloading, and pushing through. dont just go to the gym load up the bar and push whatever you think is good. record it, improve each workout / week. if you lift the same weights you will not grow.
