What is more effective to bulk up the muscles?
Doing a specific well planned workout, ie. 10x5 or something

Or as Arnold Schwarzengger said in his documentary "Pumping Iron", weight of choice and just keep doing reps, more and more and more, not resting, and when it starts hurting you keep on going as many reps as humanly possible. I got the feeling he was saying that when it starts hurting, thats what seperates bodybuilders from faggots, and thats when the muscles really start to grow.

In my case, resting seems to be bad, i pretty much keep doing reps until failure. That works the best for me. It´s not very scientific but you know, what works works...

arnold never used loads of steroids

His steroid use was 5-10% of what steroid junkies take theese days. And he only took them too keep his muscles bulky when loosing weight for competitions. Cause when you loose weight you normaly also loose too much muscle mass
