Stretch marks... Anonymous
What's the best way to lose weight and get rid of stretch marks? I know if you lose weight too fast you have flappy skin all over but if I replace the fat with muscle will I still have to get all of the stretch marks removed with surgery?

they'll fade over time but they won't ever go away. skin doesn't just disappear

There's some laser surgey that's pretty new to get rid of them, but other than that just let 'em fade and hope for the best.

I have them too, and as far as I know there is no way to completely get rid of them. Eating a healthy diet that includes all the nutrients that help give you healthy-looking skin is always a good idea, as well as drinking water (this might not help rid you of stretch marks, but it can definitely help prevent new ones).

Also, thoroughly and frequently exfoliating the affected areas can help. Doing this will promote collage in the areas you exfoliate. A while back, I exfoliated my breasts often, and used a product called Striae on them, once or twice daily. My stretch marks on my breasts are still there, but they are much less visible than those on the rest of my body.

I've also heard (though I've never tried this) that massaging the skin that has stretch marks helps too. Increased blood flow, etc.

I am currently undergoing laser surgery with something called a pixel laser to reduce/remove my stretch marks. I'm on my second treatment, and my stretch marks have gotten a lot less "deep" if you know what I mean. Once they fill in completely, ideally the scar tissue will be replaced with skin (to some extent). I hope it works.

Chemical skin peels using trichloroacetic acid also help to fade stretch marks.

i had stretch marks about 6 years ago and they went away almost completely, they faded and were almost invisible, but i got them back after my injury. cocoa and shay butter helps, so i hear.

sandpaper.. yes, i am serious :D

Baby oil and shay butter help ONLY as you are expanding....ask any woman who as ever been pregnant...It does not help once you have the marks. Your skins integrity has been compromised.

What, are you a skinny moron who knows nothing? People who gain muscle fast would also get stretch marks. People who grow/grew fast during puberty can get stretch marks. Women who get PREGNANT get stretch marks.

tl;dr fuck yourself and I probably got trolled

go outside and get a tan every summer

the stretch marks will disappear aftera few years

Actually, this makes the stretch marks stand out more. The scar tissue doesn't tan as much as the skin around it, making them stand out even more.
I'd skip on tanning. Don't get tattooed over your stretch marks either.
