Tour Diet Anonymous
Hi /fit/. I'm in a band that goes out on tour for about 150 days of the year. It's not full time or anything, but it's fun.

I've always been fat, but I've worked my ass off the last three months and have gotten to a respectable weight/size/physical condition. I have a work-out plan that I'm going to stick to while on the road doing bodyweight exercises, so that's not a problem.

I just don't know what to eat. Any recommendations?

Rules:

No microwaves.
No preparation.
We have a cooler (some cold stuff allowed.)
Has to be cheap.
Grocery store/liquor store/fast food.

Anyone bored and want to help me design a diet?

What band?

I work at a grocery store, so I have a decent amount of time to snoop.

I've found this cereal with 13g protein.

Also going to bring raw walnuts and almonds for good fats. Obligatory fruits and a veggie here and there.

A shitty one. This isn't /mu/ and even though this isn't /b/, I'm still anonymous. :) I just don't want this becoming some type of argument over how much we suck or how much genre a blows compared to genre b etc. etc. etc.

Enjoy eating only fruits and cold sandwiches

DragonForce, is that you?

It'll be really hard, OP, but you just have to resist any sort of empty calorie stuff.

You could probably just stop at the local grocery stores, grab some fruits, some milk, maybe some sandwich stuff, and be gtg.

Buy a 1l bottle with a sealable lid.

Buy protein powders, lots of milk, maybe some vitamin powders\multivitamins, some of it's very cheap for all of these, you just pay in taste.

Mix and drink.

Might not be cuisine, but it'll stop you getting fat OR wasting away.

Throw in stuff like eating half a loaf of bread each morning (once again, very dull, but good energy, as an ex-touring drummer, I know how important that is) and you can work out a pretty reasonable on the go diet.

Thanks. This is going to be my first tour where I'm actually going to attempt to be healthy. I was considering just going on the velocity diet, but I won't be able to lift weights and I think it's ridiculous to try to diet while not being active.

I'll def. purchase some protein powder.
