Fish oil OR flaxseed oil? Anonymous
Heaven or hell!

They say EFA's promote velvety skin, which I kinda have, although my diet has virtually no fat in it. I looked into this Udo's Choice stuff that has a full serving of both Omega 3/6, but it was like a dollar per ounce and my budget is stretched tight enough as it is. Is Flaxseed Oil more more doable? (In b4 look it up yourself you lazy bastard)

flaxseed can reduce total cholesterol by 5-9% and LDL (bad) cholesterol by 8-18%

Fish oil is both EPA and DHA, and the preference is form oily fish, not pills. some pills don't have both EPA and DHA. There is no proven effect on cholesterol levels.

You can reduce triglycerides by 25 to 50% with 4g a day of fish oils. Taking in that much fish oil will probably make you smell fishy.

Fish oil makes disgusting reflux. Flax goes down easier.

Fish oil is essential. Flax doesn't provide longchain pufas, only m-3 ALA which the human body can't reliably convert into EPA and DHA, which is shit we FUCKING NEED. I take 6g fish oil daily, get the occasional fish burp (get over it) but don't smell fishy on a regular basis. Shit is cheap as cheap-all if you buy it in bulk capsules from nutrition supersites.

Humans were designed to get a lot of EHA and DPA (fish, organs, marrow, etc). They were not so well-designed to nosh on flax all day.

I just started taking Fish Oil tablets... not really any difference so far.

They don't taste of anything though, thank fuck.
