ok /fit/,
just asking for general advice here. i'm going to be joining a gym and have two options near my home. Golds gym and 24 fitness. I'm probably going to get a personal trainer or something for the first few months untill i can learn how to do things properly, and to help with my diet and whatnot.
so my question is, which does /fit/ recomend? In terms of prices, quality, pushyness ect.
I'll of course visit each gym to check them out personaly, but if there is an overwhelming voice in one direction, i wont bother with the other.
i'm in seattle btw, near the northgate area if there are any locals.

You sound like a pussy. First of all you dont need a personal trainer unless you dont know how to educate yourself and have little motivation and drive to work hard yourself. 24 hour fitness is a more well rounded gym but has a large variety of people who dont really know what theyre doing. Golds Gym is a more serious gym that attracts people centered more towards weight lifting who generally know what theyre doing which is why i hate that there isn't one near me. Bodybuilding.com and the rest of the interweb is all you need to get the knowledge and guidance you need to get in shape if you have the motivation and effort.
