from everyones experience on /fit/ what would you all recommend:

a)join bigass fairly expensive gym b) join a gym that isnt too popular or big and has plenty of free weights and squat racks and a place to box too

or c) spend the $700 I have and use it all to make a gym of my own?

I'm kinda leaning towards b because I kinda get this impression that some personal trainers at the A gym are dumb niggers and I wont gain much knowledge or strength working with them if I do

b but you wont find many personal trainers there so starting off at A and getting all your basic shit down might be the best

i go to A, but only because my sister manages one and she gets me in for free

80% of personal trainers are terrible at both A and B gyms. If you need help with technique, get a friend to watch or record you, it's a lot cheaper than $60 an hour for someone to tell you, "you don't go down that far for a squat, it'll blow out your knees"
