Exactly how bad are energy drinks for you? A friend of mine just dropped off 4 cases (24 cans a case) at my house for free, and seeing as how I've been looking for something to give me a boost in the morning I'm considering drinking a few of them instead of giving them away like I had initially planned.

My diet's already pretty clean and I have incredible metabolism, would it hurt that much to drink one every morning for a much needed pick-me-up?

It would hurt as much as drinking coffee every morning. Probably worst. Plus, is has all the bad stuff that soda pops do.

just one a day won't kill you, but once you run out you won't be able to function
as caffeine is a stimulant you'll need to increase your intake periodically, so in a year or two you'll need to drink 3-4 energy drinks every morning

an alternative i suggest is early morning cardio, that shit will wake you up

i wouldn't drink them if you're trying to lose weight, but if you're happy where you are, they're fine. it's not good to drink them every day, but 3-4 a week isn't going to hurt you
