hallo /fit/

i am in uni and we have no kitchen, due to idiotic health and safety rules we're not allowed to have any hot plates or whatever (it is a tiny place so i probably couldn't slip through the net with them)

that said, the canteen is also small and as such usually only offers one option a week which almost invariably consists of cheese and mushrooms, which, after six months, i have grown sick of.

keeping in mind i have no fridge, what food should i try and stock up on?

other than the obvious tinned beans, tuna, fruit and veg, nuts etc, is there anything else i should have?

Protein powders, the cheapest ones (being a uni students, the ones you'll most likely get) can taste like burning plastic, but you get used to it.

If you buy some, you can just mix with milk\water and have to help make sure you don't turn into a skinny-fat uni student:P

Aside from that, I guess if it comes in a tin you'll be diggin it ey?:p

I'd probably get a multivitamin to try and fill in the holes in your diet.

I can only really suggest lots of dried fruits, they'll last long and still give you some benefit, but they can be expensive.

Why not get a minifridge?

You could probably sneak this bad boy in and rig a hot plate that way:P
