Want me to let you all in on a little secret? Not every powerlifter competes as a super heavyweight.
Saying powerlifting makes you fat, or that all powerlifters are fat is about the same as saying all Olympic weightlifters, football players (linemen vs cornerbacks), wrestlers, etc, are fat.
"Fitness" people hate powerlifting because they know in their heart of hearts that lifting heavy with compound exercises are best for damn near everything, they're just too weak or stupid to do it.
