Down the road, in a gym far away
A young man was heard to say,
"No matter what I do, my legs won't grow!"
He tried leg extensions, leg curls, leg presses too.
Trying to cheat, these sissy workouts he'd do!
From the corner of the gym where the big guys train,
Through a cloud of chalk and the midst of pain,
Where the big iron rides high, and threatin' lives,
Where the noise is made with big forty-fives,
A deep voice bellowed as he wrapped his knees,
A very big man with legs like trees,
Laughing as he snatched another plate from the stack,
Chalked his hands and monstrous back,
Said, "Boy, stop lying and don't say you've forgotten!
Trouble with you is you aint been SQUATIN'!!"

I've been doing sets of 15 at 215lbs but I'm afraid that may be too little weight.

At 150lbs and ~10% body fat what weight should I be squating?
>> Anonymous
tall, top-heavy, semi-fatass here been doing slow and controlled weightless SQUATZ now for about 5 weeks....

the shit is amazing, yo. It really DOES make a difference.

that's a pretty good squat for your weight. sets of 15 is obviously bit too much. put more weights on. I do 5 x 5 of 220lb right now. I am 152lb.

Do weightless squats really help? I don't have any access to a weight heavy enough for squatting.

Do them fast and jump up. Will give you massive thighs and basically trains your complete lower body + balance. Do 50 (or whatever you manage. jumping is easier than doing it slow in terms of reps) squat-jumps and then 50 (same here though you can not "jump slow") jumps where you pull your knees up. Pause and then repeat.
