The only time something like that really happened to me, I realized after a week that I was completely miscounting the calories of one of the things I had been regularly eating. Like, "holy crap I missed a 0" miscount. I doubt you're in the same case, but you might want to evaluate the things you eat and make sure you're estimating the calories correctly.
Otherwise, I mostly agree with what everyone else is saying.
