hey /fit/
I have a few questions.
1. I bought a 20 pound dumbbell to help repair my muscles from some atrophy I went through. But I can only lift(pull it up to my shoulder, then let it down) it when I lay down on my bed, and I have difficulties if I try to lift it standing up. My back like moves, I can't keep it straight when lifting, what can I do to 'strengthen' or 'fix' my back/its muscles?
2. In a previous topic, I found out that I should lift weights intermittantly, lift one day, rest the next, lift another day. So that my muscles can rest and grow, but I was wondering what would happen if I lifted nonstop until I reached 10,000 reps on each arm? This would take about a week at max.
3. I'm trying to lose some weight, so I'm doing a intermittent fast (eating one day, fasting the next, so my body can burn calories and it increases your life span and whatnot). I was wondering if anyone could help me design a low calorie diet on the days that I DO eat (around 1000-1500 calories a day (my bmr is 2200, i wanna eat at least half my bmr so I'm healthy), that would also help my muscles grow and whatnot.
4. And there's probably going to be some problem with low cal + intermittent fasting, so if there IS a major health risk, I'd be willing to use the new diet on a regular basis.
5. I'd really prefer if your answers were in order (ie, 1. Answer, 2. Answer, 3. Answer)
Thanks ALOT, guys. I appreciate any advice I can get.

1. Lighter weight

2. Muscles get smaller due to overworking

3. NO WORST WAY TO LOSE WEIGHT go running biking or my personal favorite the torture device know as the erg. Just eat 2000 calories + the amount you burned you will lose weight and gain muscle, but it will take time but you will look better then you ever imagined, trust me please

4. Eat enough so that you have energy for working out

You would fuck up your muscles and become even weaker.

>I'm trying to lose some weight, so I'm doing a intermittent fast (eating one day, fasting the next, so my body can burn calories and it increases your life span and whatnot).
Don't do that stupid. No one is going to ever answer this question seriously.

Good. You're going to be doing that.

JUST FOR THAT I'M GOING TO THROW THINGS OUT OF ORDER.

>My back like moves, I can't keep it straight when lifting, what can I do to 'strengthen' or 'fix' my back/its muscles?
Increase your core strength so you can resist.
