Try something higher up than the counter for foot placement, or graduate to doing handstands on the wall. Either way, better than grinding out hundreds of easy push-ups.
Also, do one-armed push-ups. If easy, then elevate feet on two chairs; if easy, on the counter; if easy... do one armed handstands, you beast.
