Cheap Protein? Anonymous
Hello /fit/. I am a very poorfag and I was searching for cheap protein sources. I found salted cod fish and I need your advice if this can be an appropiate protein source in a diet.

Please note that the fillets are de-salted before consumption.

Yeeaahh, sorry man, but you should just buckle down and get real food. Find a local meat market with medium ground beef on sale and stock up. Cook it up and drain the fat, and you're looking at about the cheapest food source of protein you can get. Whey is definitely a better idea, and while it's relatively expensive to purchase a jug, it may last you a month or more for $30 if you don't consume it too fast.

Chicken breasts, peanut butter, cottage cheese and a tub of muscle milk are usually my protein sources.
