big veins Anonymous
so if i notice my veins becoming more pronounced, does that mean that working out has made them larger, or that the fat around them is diminishing?

pic from google, but pretty similar to mine.

mine too, when I started lifting I was hoping to increase muscle, so far all I've increased is vein

Sounds like you got AIDS.

Actually I would really like my veins to protrude more, is it possible to do without losing more fat?(already at 10%)
>> Anonymous
mine as well, think it's because your muscles need more oxygen while working out so they got bigger, shit is permanent
>> Anonymous
i don't believe you have large veins, enjoy your well-defined muscles

nitric oxide can increase vein definition as well, supposedly...

My veins have definitely bulged, and I don't lift that much. I just run 3-5 miles everyday.

It looked pretty sick to me, like the guy picture I could trace two distinct veins from my shoulder to my wrist, branching out to shit the lower they went, someone I knew who worked out said that's a good thing, but I went and got a tan to at least get rid of the color of the vein, now I can live with it

nitrous oxide?

my hands and feet do it all the time for no reason wtf?

everyone who isn't obese has that in that hands and feet, raise your hands above your head and the veins will go back down, but if you have a four or sixpack chances are your BF% is low enough that the veins in your arms and legs are in 3D

i want big veins

are big veins a good or bad thing? I would have thought that ideally you would have big muscles and invisible veins

Nitric oxide (body building supplement), not nitrous oxide (laughing gas).

The visible veins are mainly for dissolving heat from your muscles, that's why they get bigger. amirite?

it means you have higher the normal blood density, do you eat a lot of sweet or salty food? Its not a serious problem, but you should keep the salty and sweet foods down, you don't want spider veins later in life right?

big veings really gross me out. i can just imagine them getting snagged as a bodybuilder brushes against some sharp object

I have been told that lifting weights can be bad for your blood pressure. I always presumed that high blood pressure=bigger veins. Somebody suggested doing some cardio to prevent heart and blood problems. So when you are doing lots of heavy lifting, I suggest you to do some cardio also.

Workout = body needs oxygen
oxygen is in veins
and the veins pump oxygen to arms, legs etc
???

Yes, working out gets you bigger veins. Specifically high-intensity workouts over a period of time.

After a session of sprints/plyo the veins in my calves/feet stick out like you wouldn't fucking believe.
