A Medical Question Liam
So I'm here again, and I have to ask, does anyone know anything about plastic surgery? Mainly, I want to get my thighs, butt, and stomach tucked.

How much does an operation like this usually cost? I spent forever losing weight and I'm tired of still feeling like a fatty because of the fucking leftovers.

Dammit /fit/, Give me answers.

I guess he's tall as fuck.

count your calories, eat more fat, and start upping the workload. if you're doing all that already and you're not losing fat then i really have no advice for you

Fill in the skin with muscle, start lifting heavy weights and eating healthy large amounts of food. It will look better than any plastic surgery you could get plus you will save alot of money and feel better about yourself at the same time.

WIN for kmfdm t-shirt, double win for godlike

Look, I don't WANT to fill it in with muscle.

I'm 6'3, and I've gone through a lot to lose this much weight, I lost chunks of it in a hurry and now I've got a lot of weird loose crap just hanging around.

It needs to be cut off, or tucked, or something. I do NOT want to be big. In any way, shape, or form.

can I ask how you lost it???
Liquid fast or bariatric surgery???
or the old fashioned way???
>> Liam

Strict diet, lots of exercise.

it's not like you're going to balloon into an xbox hueg bodybuilder overnight. lift weights so you maintain a HEALTHY amount of muscle.
>> Liam
>>394699
Thats not what I meant.

People talk about filling it in with muscle, I have exercised enough to know that working out a day or two isn't going to make me into a bodybuilder, I want to be thin and attractive. I don't care what you think of that - Just listen to me.

However, I believe it is physically impossible to "fill in" this skin with muscle and NOT become "XBAWKS HUEG" because I'm telling you, theres a LOT of it.

Want me to prove its not fat? I will pull the shit halfway up my damn midsection on video to prove to you I'm not a fucking fatty. I work hard outside everyday, lifting heavy things and doing hard labor, I eat well. And I don't drink soda or even excessive diet soda or cafffeine.

I'm just asking if anyone knows anything about the damn "tuck" operations. I'm not looking for an easy way out - I'm looking for closure so I don't have to keep being reminded of what I used to be. Okay?

I lost a lot of weight, too. However whether you hate yourself about it or not, you're much better off doing exercises than getting surgery.

okay buddy. go get knifed instead of eating healthy and exercising like everyone else. we won't think you're a total faggot for doing it.

This is true. OP, you need to understand that surgery isn't your answer. A healthy lifestyle is. Change the way you think, eat, and live, and you won't go back to the way you were.

No. Its an Ibanez.

I really don't think you guys understand exactly what I want.

kthx and u should consult with a doctor to ask about the surgery.. also remem to ask about scaring
good luck
>> Anonymous
>>394728
i understand perfectly. you decided one day to stop being such a fat piece of shit, and lost a lot of weight. now you have stretch marks everywhere and a bunch of extra skin. you're frustrated because it's harder now to reach your goals, so you're looking for a quick fix.

what are you looking for? someone to come in and say "well SQUATZ and OATZ work, but if you want to get surgery to fix your problems that's cool too"? if you're looking for someone to justify cosmetic surgery for you you've come to the wrong board.

I think he's just asking about some basic facts regarding the surgery so he can make an informed decision about what he wants to do. Besides becoming xbax heug with muscles, how ekse would you say he should get rid of leftover skin?

Jeez...all the OP did was ask a question and everybody is jumping all over him calling him lazy.

OP: The surgery is expensive. According to some light e-research, about 4-20k with a few months of recovery time and the possibility of disfiguring scarring. I do not know another way to get rid of loose skin and most of the "solutions" I've seen that are not "just fill em out with muscles lulz" are just companies pushing their miracle pills.

If anybody has any solutions to getting rid of loose skin I'd be curious to hear about that as well, because I don't really want to spend eight hours a day at the gym in order to maintain my XBOX HUEG muscles that will be needed to "fill out" the leftover skin.

He must be, when i was 310lb i looked a shitload fatter than he does at 420lb.

No fucking way pic on the left is 421 lbs.

Do you still wear your Excessive Force shirt?

protip: this poster is also op.

He's pretty tall. Look how small the Ibanez RG is on him. His arm looks long, too.

Plus, everyone carries weight differently. No one thought I weighed as much as I did when I was fat. Fortunately, I had less weight to lose and only ended up with some MASSIVE stretchmarks.

If you really did lose 200+lbs in a short period, you will need skin removal surgery. Any serious weightloss forum will confirm this. I've heard it's extremely expensive, but most people who got it considered it "the cost of doing business" after getting such dramatic fatloss results.
>> Anonymous
guys, its fucking impossible to fill in that much loose skin with fat. It's one thing if he lost 20-30 pounds. But when you lose that much weight...the only way you're going to fill in all of that loose skin is with a shit load of muscle...body builder style muscle..

and i don't blame him for not wanting to go through all of that shit. It's fun to be fit but i doubt the guy wants to start training like a pro body builder just to fill in some loose skin. Besides, you guys make it seem like all he has to do is lift and eat and next thing you know he's jacked. It won't happen overnight and takes way too much dedicaton. Not that that is necesarily a bad thing but not everyone wnats to spend that much time worrying about weight training.

some insurances will cover it if the weight loss is over 100 lbs. Give it a try.

what a tool. You must be a newbie to fitness and are still in your senseless meathead stage. Someone can come up to you with a broken leg and you'll just regurgitate what the more experienced lifters have said and then get pissy when someone questions you.

i remember those days..thinking i knew everything...and then fucking things up because i didn't know jack shit.

no.
more like 321 in the left. no way thats over 400.
>> Liam
I'd like to thank everyone who posted actual advice and ideas in the thread, I wasn't expecting positive feedback after I've already been on here bitching so much in the past.

I will talk with my insurance provider tomorrow and ask them about what>>395535said. It sounds like a great idea.

If it costs me some dough, I'll deal with it - Even if I'm paying it off for 4-5 years, it'll be worth it. I worked hard to be like I am. I love running and doing martial arts, and not running out of breath anymore, I love doing all of the active things I enjoy. I don't love all the glares I got when I tried to go to a beach with friends, or wore shorts at the gym.

Thanks /fit/, you guys (for the most part) are great. Peace.

Not gonna bother reading OP's poast, something about plastic surgery.

But regarding his pic. The 2004 guy looked better imo.
Also, I doubt he's 421. 421lbs = cant fit through door

That is all.

Fact:

I was that heavy, my doctor told me if I didn't start doing something I'd be dead within a few years from SOMETHING.

I was 6'4 before losing all the weight, for some reason, I am now 6'3, hell if I know what happened. But yes, I'm tall.

And fuck yes I wear my Excessive Force shirt.
>> Anonymous
first off I liked the fat shades better than the thin glasses but I digress.

what you are looking for (i think) is "apron surgery" which is VERY expensive. you do not look that old so IMO you should give it some time, try some vit E and some creams to give your skin more elasticity. being big for a while take a toll on your skin and so does age.

tl dr; "apron surgery" is $$$$$$. Vit E and some time, you are young still.

Keep doing what you are doing, and try toning excercises (yoga will get you toned, if you can put up with it. If you're looking for a burlier look, look into weight lifting.)

With all the plastic surgery malpractice suits, I'd stay away and invest in a good suit :-/. Weight loss is about health, not looking superfly.
