So how about a sticky answering all the basic questions concerning fat loss and muscle gain, already?

It could be just saying that, for all I care. It's just asked about here so frequently.

if there was a sticky, there would be very few new threads posted here =)

Not necessarily. I'm thinking it would encourage people to post something more specific to them if the basics are already up there. Get rid of those vague "how do I lose fat/gain muscle" threads.

How about we remove that stupid sticky first?

That's the DREAM, but in reality it wouldn't do a damn thing.

it will allow us to answer such threads with "read the FAQ".. only thing is coming up with a FAQ we can agree on though, what we need is a mod actively taking part in the board with the knowledge to go "this is the faq if you don't like it GTO" or something like that.

I don't think I've ever seen a mod actively participate in this board.

We should have something like what they have at 7chan.

I'm going to make this exact post in /r9k/.
I won't be muted.

because then there would be no board, just the one thread.
PLus, everything is debatable, you'd have few definitive answers
>> Anonymous

Yes. It's a decent FAQ. And even more necessary on a board like this, with probably three times more "how do I lose fat" threads a minute.

Well then, how about we find a few books that most, if not all, users can agree on as sources of good information and build the answers to our FAQ around that, in a simplified form?

Short as possible, just the basics down, so it still invites people to ask their question, but also encourages them to think about it first. The answer isn't the same for everyone, but I think we can at least take down the tried and true principles of fat loss/strength building so as to stop people from asking vague questions.
