To the op: I weigh 300+ pounds, so I can't jog for the entirety of the 40 minutes I do it, but I jog for as much as I can, then rest at a swift walking pace until I'm ready to jog again. I do it every day that it's not raining out. I think it might be around 2.5 to 3 miles total. I'm so determined to be able to jog for the whole thing, but I don't think it's going to happen until I drop some weight.
