Aerobics lol wut Anonymous
Fat /v/irgin here. I saw this "Slim in 6" thing posted here and just downloaded it. For those who don't know this is a 6-week aerobics program. Being a large fatty, this will take longer than 6 weeks, but what does /fit/ have to say about this kind of cardio workout?

Picture completely unrelated.

How'd you get it for free? If possible can you provide the source?

Anyways compared to what's being marketed out there it sounds pretty decent. hopefully you can keep it off

You are not going to stop being a fat /v/irgin in 6 weeks. You should expect nor try to lose more than 12 pounds in that period.

Initial fat loss is easier than 2lbs a week. Though doing 'aerobics' is fail at fat burning.

If you really dedicate yourself to losing weight, in 6 weeks you could realistically lose between 18 and 25lbs, depending on your efforts, while still being safe.

Be careful if it is a 'boot-camp' type program or something to jump start exercise. The sudden shock of little-to-none exercise to high intensity workouts can damage untrained muscles and ligaments, potentially leading to injury and also a dislike for exercise. Unfortunately, slow and steady will always gain more results.

To be more effective, stick to your current diet with a few substitutions and do more exercise than you did the week before. Skip one piece of cake or sugary drink and do 30 minutes of extra walking. After 6 weeks you will feel better and notice some change, that will prompt you into making further changes still. And if it isn't enjoyable, go do something else.

This has a lot to do with breaking bad habits. When you stop eating fast food and drinking gallons of soda, your intake will go down and so you'll burn fat without changing your routine. When you start drinking more water, your body retains less and so you lose water weight. When you start exercising, you're increasing your output, therefore you're moving away from your equilibrium. Most people start to do all these things together, and see a drastic improvement at the beginning, which tapers off. (This taper is often discouraging.)

It's not unhealthy to lose a ton of water weight, but the OP should be concerned with burning fat. 2 pounds a week of fat isn't unreasonable, but he can't expect to go from a "large fatty" to "slim" in 6 weeks without seriously compromising his health trying.

You can only healthily lose 2 1/2 pounds a week or approximately 10lbs a month.

If you're super fat and never ran more than 5ft in your life, I would suggest you start by just eating healthier for 1 month, then try walking around your block or something everyday for a min of 30 minutes. If you start too intense, you're only going to discourage yourself and go back to being fat and lazy.

I lost 10 lbs (145-135) the week I stopped drinking coke. That was the only change.

Took me years to get it back.
