So I'm a skinny guy but am looking to get more toned. I've been doing some pretty heavy ab workout and when I'm done, the only part that feels worked and looks jacked is the top of my abs.

Any tips on getting toned fast, and also on how to max my workout to the bottom of my abs will be appreciated.

Pic highly related, as it is me.

to get abs you have to have a low bodyfat which means eating right.

and bulk up in general (work out legs, all upper body) and then cut the fat. then you'll be toned but not skinny as shit

First of all, stop wearing shirts that tight, it makes you look like a faggot. Wear shirts big and work to fill them, not the other way.

Second, you are probably just doing situps or crunches. Stop.

Thirdly, look up ab exercises online, you should include at minimum 5 into your abs session. There should be included one where you lift your torso off the ground, one where you lift your legs off the ground and one where there is some torso rotation. Go for 25+ repetitions of each exercise.

you dont need to do abs if you have a low bodyfay %

I do have low body fat, and don't want to get bigger because then I'll have to buy an entire new wardrobe.

Also I've been doing 8 minute abs hooray youtube, which includes leg lifts, and rotations. I'll do more torso lifting though.

Also cardio needs to be included more. Smoking presents a problem...

Actually if you just do Squats and Deadlifts you will get kick ass abs, and legs. Not to mention squats will boost your testosterone naturally.

Don't do isolation exercises, do those.

There are some pretty nice Pilates workouts for abs. Quite hardcore, even if Pilates has a bit of a sissy rep from the Yoga stuff.

It already looks like you need to buy a new wardrobe.

He has to build the abs.

Hanging Crunches 4x20+
Weighted Crunches (Machine) 4x20+
PULL UPS
Push Ups
Alternated grip pullups (One hand is pronated, the other suppinated, forces you to hold your core steady).

Building Abs = Building muscle, so you also need to eat protein, etc, and treat your abs like any other muscle group.
