HIIT isn't bullshit, but doing it everyday probably is

I do HIIT probably twice a month if that, I prefer longer sessions lasting 45-60 minutes.
>> b
I would probably HIIT it

So if I where to go doing HIIT how would I go about it?
Cant I just run daily for fat loss, or is it better if I do HIIT every day?

I know this might sound as a retarded question, but I'm quite new to the whole training stuff, and just started out running on a daily basis, but this interests me.
