Hi /fit/,

I've always been a slightly overweight guy, bothing serious, my BMI has been ranging from 25-27 over time. About two and a half years ago I started working out and quickly lost weight and build some muscle, I never felt better.
However I have been diagnosed with asthma when I was pretty young. After working out for about 8 months I started noticing I had toruble breathing whilst working out, up to the point I once almost passed out whilst doing my exercises. I stopped working out and slowly started gaining weight again (I'm now 8 kilogram's heavier then I was back then, but I'd deduct about 2 of those in terms of muscle building).
Recently we have discovered I've been wrongly diagnosed and was giving the wrong medication for my asthma. I'm using the correct medication for about 2-3 months now and I'm starting to notice a slight improvement in my breathing capabilities.
However, I want to lose some fucking weight because the summer is coming up. Now, I've tried everything that doesn't require heavy exercise because I'm simply not able to do that yet. I've tried dieting, but that isn't for me, I love food too much. I tried snacking less and healthier and even though that has some slight effect, it doesn't make me lose weight, it keeps me on my current one. I've also tried having lots and lots of sex with my partner after hearing that should be a great work-out, but I haven't lost any weight, I even gained some over the past couple of months.

TL;DR: How do I lose weight without heavy exercise (due to asthma, should be able to exercise properly in half a year) or heavy dieting (since dieting is pretty much just a bitch and is quite unhealthy aswell)?

DO A BARREL ROLL.

Ok, your diet i'll assume is shit if you were putting on weight. Find your BMR (use google), then cut it by 500-750. Thats how many calories you can eat per day to lose weight. You will eat these calories from lean meats, lots of vegetables and limiting your carbs to a small amount, roughly 60g a day since you wont be extremely active throughoutt he day. Cut sugary foods, alcohol, saturated fats etc..

If you cant do anything streneous, have sex with your partner and walk briskly for 40 mins a day. Try lifting weights rather than doing cardio and consult your doctor if there is anything that can be done about breathing capabilities.

Your aim is to be 1000 calores under your BMR (maintenance levels), which means you will lose 2lb a week from this calculation:

1lb fat = 3500 calories.

In order to lose 1lb fat in a week, you would need to lose 3500 calories from your maintenance levels.

3500/7 = 500 calories a day under maintenance levels

To lose 2lb fat per week, its double that:

7000/7 = 1000 calories a day under maintenance levels

You achieve this through diet and exercise, you need to be doing both for it to be effective, especially the former.

Sounds like you were misdiagnosed all right. The correct diagnosis is "lazy piece of shit" and it sounds incurable. You won't exercise and you won't restrict what you eat but you still want to lose weight? Good luck with that. Get in the gym and start lifting, and start controlling your diet. If you "love food too much" then well, you'd better get used to being a fat fuck. Your asthma excuse doesn't fly here, either; lots of folks have asthma and are not afraid to make themselves a little uncomfortable and wheezy in order to get in better shape. Hell, some people find their asthma improves with exercise, but you don't want to hear that, do you? You just want to carry on being a worthless subhuman.

I wouldn't say my diet is shit:
Breakfast: A bowl of Cruesli
Lunch: 2-3 slices of bread with either Ham/Cheese/Salami on it.
Afternoon snack: An apple
Dinner: Usually something consisting of potatoes, a piece of meat and a salad.

Sometimes (about 2-3 times a week) I snack a bit in the evening (which I should obvfiously cut down). But when I snack it's either a cookie or two or a couple of snack-a-jacks (about 4-5) which are quite low in fat.

If I don't eat as much as I do, I will go hungry and faint, and losing weight isn't worth feeling crap.

Oh my, some people can be such morons, but hell, this is 4chan, so I'll let it slide.

I've already tried dieting, and I eat a lot healthier than I'd like. Also, I go out and cycle to work and school about every day, so I'm not that lazy. Problem is, I have to cycle about 30 minutes to work/school and after about 15 minutes I end of wheezing and extremely short of breath. Yes, of course asthma improves with exercise, but I'm not yet at that stadium because those wrong medicine fucked up my lungs and they need to recover. In about 6 months I should be able to work out the way I did a couple of years ago, and trust me, I intend to.

But seeing as you're an ignorant little prick I'll just assume you don't know shit about being short of breath all the time and passing out because you're simply not able to breath.

Whatever you need to tell yourself to get through the day, kid. I'm a lifetime asthmatic, currently on Flovent (fluticasone propionate) and of course the omnipresent salbutamol inhaler, but once again, you don't want to hear that, because it threatens your perception that nobody else could possibly understand how hard it is to be as lazy and work-avoidant as you. Good luck with your life, such as it is.

Even when what you say is true, you're obviously not reading what I'm typing.
My lungs need time to recover and "get used" to my new medication (which is Seretide by the way) and I fully intend to work the fuck out when I am able to breath a bit properly again (at this moment I'm a chronic Ventolin user). However, until I am able to work out I need a way to keep my weight down a bit because I'm turning in a fucking sloth, which I detest.

Also, succesfull troll is succesfull.

I was right, your diet IS shit.

My brother suffers from asthma and doesnt have any problems playing football or doing alot of cardio work. I have to agree with everyone, you are just lazy and looking for excuses.

Follow my advice in the first reply to the thread, build up cardio to jogging pace and then build where you want from there.

If you arent prepared to put hard work in, physically and mentally, dont bother visiting /fit/, we dont have any respect for fuckabouts.

My diet really is that shit? I would say it's pretty normal, isn't it? Anyway, I'm not saying I don't want to put work into this, but people are jumping to conclusions. Just because I'm asking for help that meets my current demands doesn't mean I won't alter those critics if it turns out it's not possible with what I had in mind.

You wanted to lose weight, yet you stocked up on carbs and as you stated, you cant do alot of exercise.

As i said, everything is outlined in the first reply in the thread.

Pro-tip: Find out what happens to carbs that go unused.

How do I drive a car on the road without a car and a road?

Cereals for breakfast seem fine to me.
What's so horrible about bread? I thought whole wheat bread was at least good.
His dinner seems ok too save for the potatoes. Nothing wrong with salad and meat, if it's lean that is.

Not enough protein man.

Cruseli and Milk - about 16g
Lunchmeat and Cheese- probably around... 16-20g? if that
Piece of meat at dinner - not sure, depening on the size, but 30g to 40g

Thats 72g of protein, plus or minus. You should supplement with whey protein shake as a snack and cut out the apple. That would add around 50g of protein for 2 scoops of whey or 25g for 1 scoop (depends on the brand of course).

Also, cut out the potatoes at dinner and eat a snack between breakfast and lunch. You also could use more greens in your diet, but of course you said you hate eating healthy.
