I've decided to join the army to pay off my college debt. I'm training right now to be ready for basic in June now. I walk for two hours(run for 20-30 minutes of it), 50 push ups, 50 sit ups, and 50 crunches. Any tips to help me get in better shape. Right now I can only run half a mile before I need to walk again cause I've ran out of breath. Going to a pool won't be an option soon, so any tips?

push yourself harder? Thats all i can come up with.

Back when i did martial arts, we exercised so much in an hour and a half class that i barely walked afterwards. Now, i just dont have the drive

But be careful. I have a friend that joined and one time he was visiting, he fell asleep while ironing his clothes
