Stretching after lifting.Is it beneficial or does it set me back? When I stretch I feel better the day after, but a friend said stretching after lifts will reduce growth and even make me "weaker". So now I'm worried about stretching, worried about not stretching.hlep

I don't see how, but I know static stretches have been said to add to the risk of muscle tears. Warm up and cool down by other means. Dynamic stretches, maybe.
