What are the best measurements on a female, anon? Actually, I'd be interested in male body measurements (in b4 lolpenis). I have no clue what are ideal measurements at all for male.

Femanon here, 36-28-36. Care to share?

surely the 'best' measurements would be subjective.

THAT DIAGRAM LOOKS INTRICATE AS SHIT
FUUUUCK I'M CONFUSED

Silly anon. Just humour the poor female. It is clear that she has ventured away from her comfort zone in the kitchen and is a little confused.

ideal measurements are 34-26-34

so do you want measurements for a male or female?
honestly, I'd say xx-(22-24)-(30-34). Where the xx is proportional to cup size. Eg. DD's would be 32-34, while anything smaller should be smaller as well.

For a guy... well waist size should be 30-34. No real need for anything else, of course a larger chest in proportion to waist wouldn't hurt.

I'd actually like to find out the general outlook on what anon views as the "ideal" measurements. Methinks I should have explained myself better.

Major = psychology = project on mindsets. What does anon think the ideal measurements are for either males or females or both?

Sampling can't get any more random than 4chan.

it depends on your height really and if you're big boned or not.

You are a complete abject failure as a Psych student. Go fill out an application at McDonalds. It's fucking obvious selection bias. You are getting an extremely disproportionate amount of young males. A disproportionate amount of socially inept. Etc Etc etc. 4chan is anything but random.

Don't be such a dumbass next time. Go die in a fire.

How many people could actually choose a "best" size? I couldn't. There are just too many variables. You could work from ratios in proportion to the height, but maybe people like different proportions depending on height. Or maybe the preferred proportions depend on race (of the person being judged). Perhaps there are multiple proportions that work well for a given height, but which would not work well for another height. On top of that, you're asking people to accurately describe what they like.

There's only one way to do this right. Get a lot of pictures of a large group of women. Now weed out the ones that you think are going to screw up your results, such as bad photos or terrible acne. You then need to make sure that you've got all the body types you can manage represented in roughly equal proportion in your data set. Race included.

Done that? Good. Now you can start collecting data. You're going to need to have people rate a variety of these pictures. Probably everyone will not be able to rate every picture, if you have a large set of pictures. But for each person who participates in the study, you need to take down their gender, age, race, place of origin, and any other data you think relevant, as well as keeping their ratings associated with them. This is going to be important when you go to analyze the data, since you'll need to ensure that you're looking at a representative sample of the population. E.g. you don't want to accidentally use only black men's opinion's, or only those of white women, because you'll skew your data hard core.

Now that that's done, and you've ensured the statistical validity of your data, or at least identified biases, you can try to make sense of it. A self-organizing map looks like a shoe-in for visualizing this data.

tl;dr—You're just blowing smoke: you need to rethink your method. At the very least you need to get more info from your respondents here, though asking us to correctly identify our preferences is still going to render your data pretty much useless.

^To say nothing of the fact that no matter how much information you get from people the mere fact that they chose to respond makes them a shitty sample to represent the general population. It's called self selection OP, look it up sometime.

You are asking strangers to give you a technical response. The only people who are likely to even understand your question, much less know off the top of their head what the measurements are like for their ideal women are people who REALLY care about what their women look like. People who have made a conscious decision about what body type is most appealing. In general these people are more concerned with appearance than average...and that's a major problem.

The majority of the world has no preference that they are capable of expressing in circumferences. It is far more apathetic and far more subconscious.Like this other anon said you need to have pictures.
