STFU ACNEFAGS Anonymous
Listen acnefags gtfo with your bullshit threads, you can't cure that shit. It's not caused by what you eat, how much you wash your face, or how much you fap. It's 100% genetics, either you hit the genetic lottery or you have acne it's that fucking simple. Just wait that shit out or deal with it for the rest of your life.

Sure genetics has a lot to do with it, there are still variables. Even kids with genetically perfect skin will end up with some acne if they eat shitty sugary food. If they dont take a shower after football practice theyll still get pimples where the sweat pooled the most like on thier chest back and forehead.

Genetics, inheriting a predisposition towards acne from one's parents, and hormones (including increased male sex hormones during puberty and drastic changes in hormone levels in pregnant or menstruating women) are thought to increase sebaceous gland production. Other causes of acne include prescribed medications because some drugs, such as lithium or steroid products, can cause a blockage of the pores and lead to blackheads, and some oil-based cosmetics.

Stress, which may contribute to a person's lack of personal hygiene or caring, and physical irritations such as tight clothing rubbing on the same spot are also factors that can influence the formation of blackheads. The weather, including humidity or environmental pollutants, which increase perspiration and can clog the pores with mini-particles also add to the factors that can cause acne.

I didnt have a lick of acne all through highschool. I would look at those with it and scoff. My dad had HORRIBLE acne in his teens, and I had none, so I was on cloud nine.

Then I entered college at got HORRIBLE acne. It sucked. A lot. I tried proactive, stridex, you name it. For 5+ years it persisted, and it sucked.

Then I got on accutane. In 4 months it cleaned up completely. Its been 7+ months since i've been off it and I havent had a SINGLE blemish. My scars are healing, and I feel great.

TL/DR; Accutane works and is a godsend.

greasy foods do factor in.

but yes genetics do play the biggest roll. I have VERY oily skin and my acne is pretty minor.

Sure but what's worse? Acne or crackled ass lips, depression, baboon ass looking face? I more rather have acne and make out with decent looking girls than be depressed with fucked up lips not making out with any girls.

tl;dr Acne and Girls > Accutane and bullshit side effects.

>>294928
No they do not factor in. Stop being fucking retarded

>>294934

You'd be singing a different tune if you had severe acne. Symptoms are temporary.

The food thing is a lie created by the jews who are jealous of our greasy hamburgers and pizza that they can't eat because it isn't kosher.

Naw man I don't want to look like a baboons ass. Well I really don't know I never had anything more than blackheads tbh.

I didn't have any of the side effects listed, save for one, my face dried up a bit and i got "ashy" which was remedied by applying some moisturizer for the last 2 or so months. About 2 weeks after I stopped using accutane the dryness topped. I never had dry lips or depression, and I all ready had a gf going into it, so making out with people wasnt really a concern.

If your gf leaves you over chapped lips, you fail at picking women.

i had really bad acne, then i used those stridex wipe thingies and my acne basically vanished. i stopped using it for a few weeks and it came back. im using them AGAIN and AGAIN my face is spotless

That's not a cure, that's you being trapped into using their bullshit product for years.

Pro tip: Dove soap works just as good and is probably more gentle on the skin, try it.

Also your moms make up kits should have some shit to cover most of it up and as long as you don't sweat (not likely seeing as your a fat fuck) or get noticed, you should be fine.

I'm not going to debate whether or not high GI foods make acne worse since the jury is out on that. But the hormones in milk can cause breakouts.
>> Anonymous
Food dosent have anything to do with it but im 100% clear when i watch my diet, and break out terribly when i dont.
Makes sense....

Ask a doctor. It's true.

This summer i didnt shower for weeks. and drank soda every day. Minimal acne. Very minimal. Used Clyndamycin RX topical shit daily but never showered. didnt get more acne.

>>294985
If that's true wtf.

So I always had acne when I lived with my mom and drank like a gallon of milk a day, but when I moved in with my dad all he ever had to drink was beer or water. I never had acne when living with him, even the acne on my back disappeared. Now I live with my mom again and drink shits loads of milk just like before, now all my acne is back.

So from personal experience I'm going to accept that as fact.

Anyone got pro tips for blackheads?

Accutane cures Acne.

I know the thread is retarded so I didn't read it.

But, Accutane fixes that shit completely and permanently. Just don't off yourself, pussy.

Doesn't seem to help everyone though, my girlfriend gave up milk for a few months, but it didn't help her at all.

Good thing too, now she's on birth control instead =D.

I know it's been said that diet doesn't play a huge factor in acne, if at all, but I'm always interested by one thing.

When I was suffering from severe acne, my dad mentioned that he had the same problem when he was my age. He also mentioned that a door-to-door salesman was trying to sell a juicer to my grandmother at the time, and he noticed my father's acne, and said that fresh-made carrot juice 3 times daily helps clear it up.

And in actuality, it ended up being his personal miracle cure. It cleared him up dandy. But I guess everyone's different, and it didn't solve my problem. However, the carrot juice 3 times a day topped with regular washing, some benzoyl peroxide and a good moisturizer worked a bit better than without the juice.

My acne is pretty much gone these days, but I still get the occasional blemishes. Maybe I should try it again; we still have a juicer collecting dust.

I'm the sweatiest fuck ever, and I used to have really bad Acne, but I took some shit for about 6 months, and though it dried out my face and lips. I didn't have the problem back till recently. The scars are weird as hell, like little boils on the skin. That can't be usual, can it?

>>295127
No shit, right? Those guys knew what they were doing in the 50's and 60's.

But it doesn't change the fact that it really did help clear up his skin after a couple months. I thought I'd mention it for those people who have nothing left to lose.
>> Anonymous
you probably just need a course of antibiotics....
>> Anonymous
>>295123
makes sense, since vitamin A helps with your skin alot.
thusly why accutane is derived (sp?) from vitamin A

SAUCE ON OP'S PIC

I don't know if I agree with OP though. I used to have pretty bad acne when I was 12, and then I started using salicylic acid cleansers, benzoyl peroxide spot treatments and moisturizing twice a day. It pretty much went away, I broke out in a tiny spot like once a week which was pretty good I guess for a 15 year old.
