I have a question about weight plateau. Thanks to the glory of freshman fifteen, I was at 149 pounds, and I'm now down to 142. I love cardio, and I've been walking or runing six or seven days a week, in part because I enjoy it. I eat healthy, but I haven't really lost weight aside from the first few pounds from the first week. How do I continue to lose weight? Should I do cardio kicking boxing, swimming, etc.?

Use more energy or eat less.

I run 15, 5 miles 3x a week, and I still need to reduce my calorie intake.

Bulk up then slim down.

Do weight training and up your protein.

You will even look better naked. Though you might technicality way the same.

Run more.

Plateauing simply means you have reached the point where your calorie intake matches your body's calorie use. You eat x calories a day and use x calories a day.

As you lose more weight and get in shape, you use less calories for the same exercise that you used to do.
