I was looking on Exrx.net about some of the exercises.
What is the difference between these two exercises?
http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/Quadriceps/BBFullSquat.html
http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/GluteusMaximus/BBFullSquat.html

What part does the full squat emphasize, or does it equally work those two parts?
Same with the deadlift.

Same exercise, but it says it targets different muscles.
What is the true target for each of those exercises?

They're called COMPOUND LIFTS. A COMPOUND LIFT works multiple muscles. An ISOLATION LIFT works a single muscle (eg. Bicep CURLZZZZ). COMPOUND LIFTS are an excellent way to work large parts of your body with one exercise.

the first two are identical and they will work for almost all muscle groups of your body.

same with last two

try not doing them on the same day because each requires A LOT of energy and power. your main goal in the beginning is to get the form right and you don't want a back/knee injury by lifting heavy in the beginning.

took me three months to get it right

Yes. But does that compound lift work each of those two muscles EQUALLY? I mean, the exact same exercise apparently TARGETS each of those muscles the exact same way but there is no difference in exercise.

I'm doing Rippetoe's and he has Squat/Deadlift on the same day. People say not to fuck around with it and just do it.
