hey /fit/ i have never posted here before.

yesterday, i ran 4 miles non-stop. now...i never run.
and my muscles are pretty achy. is that good or bad?
and if it is. would stretching be good or bad to help alleviate the soreness?

It'll get a bit better if you do a light jog for half an hour or so. stretch after that.

alright thanks. yeah. see i used to smoke. well up until about a week ago. so the actual running was easy for my body (i thought). at the time it was just my lungs that were failing.

No it's not. It's DOMS and some blood circulation takes off the sharpest edge of the pain.
