Appetite problems /fit/

I want it bigger. But it seems to be the biggest problem I have. I have a weak stomach and get full very easy.

Would smoking weed benefit me positively, aside from lung damage, in gaining muscle mass if my problem is a calorie defficet. Or will it boost my metabolism as well and make it so the extra food i eat will be burned up.

Also, any pills?

I'm 5'9" 135 and want to be 165. Started at 120.

Eat a number of small meals through out the day, and some snacks. Keep track of your caloric intake, and try to get over 3000 calories (I don't know exactly how much for sure for you, as I'm 6'2" and about 170 and I usually try to get, at the very least, 3500-4000 a day). Also, protein shakes right before you go to bed every night.

Some people say drinking a gallon of milk a day will help you gain a lot of weight very quickly. I never tried it, but I'm sure it will help.

unfortunately, doing that will also kill your bones and joints. It's a trade-off.

lol what?

did a faggot in here just say milk is bad for your bones and joints?

LOL WHAT?

Milk robs your body of calcium, and it comes out of your bones to escort the digested animal protein from your body. Propaganda aside, there is an enormous amount of evidence that links milk consumption to arthritis, so if you're not sucking on your mother's tits (which you probably are since you're here and all), then it's best to moderate your portions of the substance.

Facts are facts, and it's not my problem you're too ignorant to pay attention to them or in denial because you're probably one of those fags that fuck up squats and swallow bloody red meat whole to get ripped or whatever

OP. I had trouble with the same thing two. After about a year of increasing the food I ate each time I ate I've drastically increased my appetite and now I'm gradually gaining weight. I recommend just stuffing yourself every time, and then saving water for after you're finished with the solids. THen just chug down the water. If you start thinking to yourself "BUT I'M FULL OMFG" then just tell yourself "NO YOU FUCKING FAGGOT. EAT THIS FUCKING FOOD NOW." and then obey yourself. Thinking things as if they are commands helped me a lot.

Explain the Masai.

You can't. You can't even come up with a link and settle for ad hominem attacks. You don't actually have any reliable resources and you aren't kidding anyone.

I really don't have two years to get my appetite up. I've been training for two already and am SICK of how much my girly appetite hinders me.

Are there any pills or herbs illegal or legal that will make me hungry? (Except for ROIDS)
>> Anonymous
>>282755
I was just kidding. I'm not really the dude who made the milk claim. :) I drink a glass everyday.
>> Anonymous
The anti-milk guy is a troll. Trust me, I'm a Masai.

What kind of food is best for this? Carbs, protein, fat? Should I be maxing out on pasta or meat?

Hay guise, PHD here, no ulterior motives- read my new article:

http://www.rense.com/general63/milkmyth.htm

>>"Under scientific scrutiny, the support for the milk myth crumbles. This analysis of 58 published studies shows that the evidence on which U.S. dairy intake recommendations are based is scant," says Dr. Lanou, lead author of the study. "A clear majority of the studies we examined for this review found no relationship between dairy or dietary calcium intake and measures of bone health. In the remaining reports, the evidence was sketchy. In some, the effects on bone health were small, and in others, the results were confounded by vitamin D intake from milk fortified with vitamin D. To build strong bones and healthy bodies, children need exercise, sunshine, and a diet rich in fruits and vegetables that helps them maintain a healthy body weight."

and here:
http://pediatrics.aappublications.org/cgi/reprint/117/1/260.pdf

>>By way of clarification, of the
58 studies that we reviewed, 11 were excluded for not
controlling for weight, pubertal status, or exercise, and
10 focused specifically on the effects of calcium supplements.
1 Of the remaining 37 studies, 4 had prospective
designs that specifically addressed the effects of dairy
calcium rather than total dietary calcium on bone health
in children and young adults.2–5 Of these, 3 were randomized,
controlled trials and 1 was a cohort study.

So you see we drew conclusions for just 3 studies, even though we cite 54. It's okay our 3 were random, the hundreds that came before us were probably wrong- GOOD SCIENCE ALWAYS GIVES GOOD RESULTS!

You guys might remember me from PCRM (Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine), you can visit us here:

http://www.pcrm.org/

heres our mission statement :)

>>The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) is a non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C., founded in 1985 by physician Neal D. Barnard. It is an "association of doctors and laypersons" whose stated purposes are to promote preventive medicine and ENCOURAGE HIGHER STANDARDS FOR ETHICS AND EFFECTIVENESS IN RESEARCH

whats that? noo, we have no bias- we have phd's guys, phd's!

>>The PCRM advocates for a vegan diet, which it argues helps combat a multitude of physical ailments, such as diabetes and high blood pressure among many others. PCRM goes further and claims that certain vegan products, which are "naturally low in saturated fat, high in fiber, and replete with cancer-protective phytochemicals," can help to prevent cancer

That in no way supports your argument that milk damages bones, just that calcium doesn't really help bone density. Most knowledgeable people know this and know that resistance exercise is more effective. However that wasn't the point of recommending milk to OP. It was for calories. So that's a moot point.

tl;dr: You're an idiot.

It really isn't all that obvious that it's debunking his claims. geez, sorry for being "stupid"
>> Anonymous
>>282780
maybe if you actually read before you posted, and weren't 14 years old you would stop being such a faggot in life.
>> Anonymous
>>282780
>>282781

maybe if both of you didn't drink a gallon a milk a day, you'd be less irritable because your blood would be cleaner, thereby promoting better mood regulation due to more efficient nutrition uptake
>> Anonymous
>>282781
ok, I'm a gigantic idiot. Can you please tell me exactly how that is against his arguments?
>> Anonymous
>>282785
the person who conducted the study clearly has an anti-milk/dairy/meat bias. She is part of a group which claims to promote ethics in science, but she is just pushing her own agenda. On top of this, her earth shattering debunking of milk boils down to 3 random studies- not 58 as originally claimed. Generally when you see articles published by fringe journals such as PCRM you know you are going to be reading something that is not objective or even scientific, because the whole peer review process is governed by their own internal mechanisms, and not mainstream scientists.

in short- hypocritical bullshit, not real science or results.

(she didn't actually conduct anything, just reviewed 58 studies that looked at the effects of calcium, and cherry picked 3 that supported her theory of no correlation between milk and its positive effects)

>>282788
Ok, thanks. I see exactly what you're talking about now and you've just let me know that I need some sleep because I have the reading comprehension of a 5 year old on pot right now.
>> Anonymous
>>282796
no problem. I'm only talking down at you, because I'm so much better in every single way.
>> Anonymous
ok, let's get back to the OP's problem
>> Anonymous
easiest way I found to eat more was to do it gradually. Just carry fruit and snacks with you in your pockets, I know it sounds gay, but it works.

You might consider, if you feel you really cant eat any more; eg its like 7pm, youve shat twice already today, and eaten so much youre going to explode- that you should turn to a liquid supplement. I suggest something cheap, low on sugar, high on protein, mixed with milk.
>> Anonymous
So about smoking or certain pills that aid in this. Anyone experienced with it.
>> Anonymous
>>282661

You should eat less more often imo. Also you can get powders with concentrated protein if thats the problem. Its called whey protein and you can buy it at fitness/food/drug stores.

Instead of smoking the weed, if lung damage bothers you cook with it. It will be more expensive, but the high lasts longer. look up THC butter or green dragons online.
>> Anonymous
I smoked some weed one time and then worked out.
I felt like the fucking hulk.
and then I was hungry.
>> Anonymous
I improved my appetite by one simple belief:

"Eating things is awesome."

Face it, you love eating.
Also my girlfriend calls me a pussy if I decide to eat a big meal and start to get full, so I work on. Don't let that food beat you. Eat that fucker to show who's boss.
>> Anonymous
>>283708
How come it gets me laughed at to believe the reverse of that?
>> Anonymous
>>283731
Probably because everyone seems to be a fatty apologist these days?
If you want to eat less, just hang in there so your gut won't hang out there.
