ZMA doesn't increase testosterone. Though it might increase your libido for a little while.

Intense training increases testosterone, particularly if it's full body

It increases testosterone for a few minutes, but hard exercise has a net negative effect overall.

Although lower bodyfat from exercise lowers estrogen and thus testosterone increases.

this shit is so complicated that it's better to just leave it be...

something like:
the products of muscle decomposion (due to it's damage during workout) lowers testosteron
(lowers anabolic effect)

lower blood sugar during workout stimulates somatotropin
(higher anabolic effect)

high sugar after eating after excercisy = insulin spike
(higher anabolic effect)

err... well whatever, just fucking do some excercise and don't think of that shit

Should have explained more.

Short bursts of high intensity don't raise cortisol and preserve T but prolonged high volume training lowers T and raises cortisol.

Bodybuilding style trainees have to be careful of not overdoing volume.

So, SHORT high intensity exercise is good.

oh yeah, cortisol kicks in when you have low amount of blood sugar (longer workouts)

Cortisol litteraly turns your muscle into sugar (protein > glucose)

so it has an Antianabolic effect

so then what's a good time frame to lift?

from what my trainer tells me, you really Should keep your workout in under 60 minutes, also it's pretty hard to do a full body workout in that time, so i'm doing split excersices now.

rest period is 48 hours

time of day to do the workout = from noon to evening

always sleep more then 8 hours - 10 is very good. during sleep your body produces somatotropin (anabolic)

best bet is before and after....
regular meal is usually 1 hour before the workout and right after the workout.
with whey protein its 30 minutes before the workout, and right after it
