So i've been working out 3 days a week every week since Spring Semester began back in mid January. Now that I'm out of school, I don't wanna lose progress.

I've been primarily doing cardio and ab shit to try and get rid of this gut I've had my whole life. The main focus of my workout's usually 30 mins cardio on an eliptical and 3 sets, 12 reps on a captains chair (along with w/e else I feel like lifting that day, I'm not that concerned w/ the other muscle groups).

Anyway, what are some good ab workouts i can use to replace the captain's chair BESIDES doing a shit ton of crunches every morning? Last summer I did 300 crunches a day for a month and got no where, so i quit.

Doing situps does not take fat from your stomach.

Burning fat is like taking water from a lake, the largest deposits go last.

Spot burning is a myth.

You want abs? Do HIIT and eat oatmeal every morning.

what's the oatmeal supposed to do?

Low carb, and if you take protien, add some in.

OP here, kinda hard for me to do HIIT. I don't have an eliptical, exercise bike, or any of that. I have a treadmill, which isn't really ideal since treadmills speed up slowly

Just low fat carbs with fiber, plus most people in /fit/ have a hard on for oatmeal. In fact, they cum on it before eating.

Shit, go outside.

Here's what you do? You like a place? Put on sweatshirt. Put on sweatpants. Go outside. Run to that place doing HIIT. Come back to your place doing HIIT.

And if you're too scared/embarrassed/etc. to go outside and run around, don't. Don't feel stupid for exercising, and most importantly, run in places that are safe to tread on without the worry of being bullied.
