Extra skin and weight. Anonymous
I lost 130 lbs between 2004 and summer 2007. I gained almost 40 lbs over the fall-winter and was at 220 in spring, now I'm at 208.

I look much thinner than my weight would indicate for my body type and height. My body fat % is in the healthy range.
What I'm wondering is if the extra skin from being epic huge is throwing off my calculations for a healthy weight?

When I was 185 three of my ribs on each side were clearly visible and my hipbones were prominent. I'm 6'0".

Besides surgery, is there anything I can do to get rid of this extra skin? It is worst on my stomach, back, thighs, and arms.

pic unrelatedly cute.

torso altogether, I forgot about my chest, which is the most upsetting of the extra skin :(

just leave it and your body should adapt and reform in about a year

Losing 12 pounds in 4 months wouldn't give you a lot of extra skin. I think you're overreacting.

Just wait, do some squatz, you'll be fine.

I lost 50 lbs in 5 months, and 15 in one at one point. Summer of 2005 I was already at 225, summer 2006 I was at 205.
So I pretty much lost 90 lbs in a year and a half with varying rates.
