Cheers.

Learn that doing sit ups doesn't tone your stomach at all.

-Leg lifts (lie on back & er, lift legs).
-Lie on your back & "cycle", perhaps with weights.
-Pullups, with your legs out in front of you (like you're sitting down on the floor).
-Jog/cardio to lose weight

Sagefag is correct. Toning your midsection means getting into a good fitness program for you whole body. However, you can work the abdominals by tightening your stomach muscles as you're doing other exercises.

Oh yeah handstands are good too. Very good.
How bad is your back though dude? I mean, is it weak or just plain painful?

I ordered a book "Combat Conditioning" off the 'net a year ago when I was struggling for stuff to improve my physique. The author has 3 main exercises to help you become stronger & more flexible. It certainly has helped me! I can walk on my hands now, and bend over into the crab from standing.

Guy's name was Matt Furey. Book was well cheap!

Wow I sound a bit like a salesman there so I'll just tell you the 3 exercises:

-Hindu pushups
-Squats
-Back bridge

Those are mostly iliopsoas exercises you fucking cretin.

OP, stand in a pushup position but with your elbows and forearms on the floor in front of you. Hold. Hold. Now lift one leg and move out to the side. Hold! Put it back, repeat with other leg. Slow slow movements.
