Surgery. Anonymous
So /fit/ I've had pain in my wrist from tendinitis for 5 months. After two cortisone shots it still burns a little after I use it, not during. It use to be to the point where I could only do 10 push ups or so. When I could do 80 before.

Should I get surgery to shave the tendons down so they don't rub? My doctor said that's the next step since it's been so long and it hasn't healed. I have no lifted a weight seriously since March, not at all since may.

Is there really any other options to treat it besides wait another 4 months.

I've rested it, worn a splint, been on two different prescription strength NSAIDS, and had two cortizone shots.

Don't know if those are options for tendinitis or not. I can ask.
