Sounds like you pretty much have everything already set up, you just need some guidance on WHAT to do. I'd reccomend walking to start it off, possibly jogging. 300 lbs is quite a bit to be running on and will damage your knees in the long run.
I'd recommend packing lunch for work and not eating fast food though. Some random tips: Your protein portions will 99% of the time be the size of your fist. Chicken is your best friend, chicken and fish. Both very lean, high protein meats.
