/fit/ Ive been lifting for a good four years and over the years ive gotten very happy with my chest and back but my arms always seem to be lacking; should I focus on my arms and forget the chest/back for a couple of weeks or should I keep with my routine but lift at a fixed moderate weight for chest/back

/thanks/

The key to good biceps is a good back program, and the key to good triceps is a good chest program.

Although isolation exercises have their place, it's better to bulk up to add more inches to your arms. One source I read put the number at about 15lbs for 1 inch of circumference on the arms for an average sized man.

My arms are pretty stubborn too. But going from 143 lb. to 154 lb. with some select isolation (CURLZ for GURLZ, TRIZ FOR GUYZ) added almost 3/4"
