Hai /fit/
I got a question about the protein supplement that I currently use..

When I use the blender to prepare it, it comes our really thick and foamy at the top, kinda tough to drink

But when I stir it in a big cup w/ a spoon (REALLY GOTTA STIR IT!) its not foamy or thick at all, and goes down much easier.

Would the way its prepared affect its absorbtional at all? any insight into this matter is helpful :)

(and the protein powder i use is the chocolate isopure)

i've seen those... "mixer cups" or w/e, any success with that?

The reason it gets a head on it is because you're either putting the blender on too high a setting, or because your blender is just too fast period.

If it gets like that even on the lowest setting, you'll have to use a shaker to get the consistency you want.

I can use a spoon just fine, but im concerned about getting my nutrition.

Would either method alter the protein absorbtion somehow? If it doesn't make a difference i'll stick to using a cup/spoon, much easier to drink and less clean up

Sorry to temporarily derail the thread, but I've been considering taking whey protein for a while now. What are some decent, not expensive as fuck brands? Along with good sites to get them? Thanks.
