Male, 21, Same position you are in OP, Actually had my family tell me to stop being suck a martyr, Seriously you think they would realize that just because you want to become more healthy, it doesn't mean that you hate your appearance and have to stop doing everything you love. Hang in there. It's been a few weeks here and I can already see and feel a difference too.
Not-So-Protip: Push-ups, and especially pull ups(I do mine on the bathroom door) Seem to really do wonders for my arms if you're like me and dirt cheap. Ab Workouts are also a great way to make a visible and satisfying change when you look in the mirror. I try to take my little brother to the park a few times a week which is a good place to work out. Run around for a little extra cardio, and you can do leg lifts on the monkey bars and shit. My best advice would be to find random times in your day that adding muscular training is actually convenient. Good luck again~
