Need to lose weight. Anonymous
Hey /fit/, I've been doing various workouts and cardio routines all year. Over the summer I lost 58 pounds. I'm 6' 0" tall, 210 lbs. Lately my weight loss has kind of hit a standstill. I've been doing HIIT 15 minutes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I think I need to include some sort of anaerobic exercise every week. What would /fit/ suggest for someone with no money for equipment and no access to a gym.

Unless you are super atheltic at that weight and height, It looks like your not doing HIIT correctly, also burpees, Push Cups, Chin Ups, Use tires or bricks for weights squats etc.

anearobic is excellent. use calisthenics primarily and use all sorts of household objects to make them harder. try doing dips between two chairs. use the same chairs to increase range of motion with pushups.

also, whats your diet like? There's alot more to weight loss and diet is a huge part.

OP here, once again I'm weird about schedules, can you give me like a certain routine to base things on?

My diet is actually pretty good and getting better as time goes by.

For burpees, 6 x 3-minute rounds with 1 minute of rest between rounds but if thats too intense go for 6 x 2-minute rounds with 1 minute of rest between rounds Or 4 x 3-minute rounds with 1 minute of rest between rounds

Squats, 3 reps, 10 sets and push ups, try working for 30 reps and 3-4 sets. Chinups, just go to your local park and use moneky bars or something thats hopefully taller then you.

I live in the middle of nowhere so I can try to do the park thing, just got to worry about gas.

How about running/biking there? Thats also a good form of cardio right there. Inb4 its 5 miles build up your endurance.

worst comes to worst, you leave chin ups out of it. You can still do tons of exercises in your bedroom though.

also, buy a rope. throw it over a branch in your backyard and start doing pullups with that. youll get a diesel fucking grip.
