Hey /fit/. I was wondering, how do I convert running distance to bike distance? I run like 5.25 miles a day, but I have no idea how much that would be in terms of biking. I also don't know if it's really worth it, though. I like running since my whole body is bouncing up and down, and it feels like I'm losing weight more, but I dunno. There wouldn't be a difference in stationary and real bike either, would there?
it's running distance * 5 or something
Holy shit I have to bike like 26 miles?
Basically, but it would probably take about the same amount of time.Running > Biking in terms of having fun.
>>94455seriously? I feel like killing myself when I start running, knowing how long and god damn boring the stupid shit is going to be.
just bike for like an hour?>>94455and I hate running (or walking) cause it's so fucking slowwwwwwwwwwwwwww. which especially sucks if you walk or run somewhere and you know you have to go alllllll that way back home.
>>94461get a heart rate monitor and while running force your bpm to stay between a certain rangemakes things fun (and also improves efficiency of fat burning)
>>94461I hate, hate, hate running outside. So boring. Running indoors on a treadmill while watching TV is significantly less so, however. At least for me.
