What are some excercises I can do around the house that'll help me lose weight faster?

I've already cut down massively on alcohol intake and started eating healthier meals, but the only excercise I get is stacking shelves at work and I don't really think that's quite enough.

I don't wanna get ripped, just thin.

Cardio will help burn it off faster than anything. Riding a bike/stationary biking and walking or running on a treadmill will be the best. Might need to join a gym or head outside to walk or run.

This, and buy a jump rope. "rep" means repetition, and you're right, it is weight lifting.

Cheers for the insight, are there any sites you guys can recomend so I can work out how long I should be doing these things and what sorta gear I need to buy?

Been a long time since I've rode a bike too, might look into getting a new one.

A rep is the number of times a specific exercise is performed within a set.

You don't need gear for cardio. To lift, you'll need quite a bit more, so I suggest just getting a gym membership.

T-nation has good information for lifts.

It depends on your height/weight and goals on how long you'll need to exercise and in turn burn calories.
Check into a gym before you start buying stuff, might save you money in the long run.
