Hey /fit/I'm looking for a way to lose some excess fat, and maybe gain some muscle, mostly about my chest and abdomen. I tend to avoid fast food and most other foods that are universally accepted as not healthy for human beings, and the food that I do eat is mostly whole grain, reduced/low fat, or some form of grilled chicken or turkey. I get a moderate amount of exercise on most days, and the main focus of my exercises are obviously my chest and abs. I do sit-ups on an exercise ball (I'm pretty sure it's got some official name but I don't know it. It's essentially a big rubber ball filled with air.) and I also spend time just sitting on the ball if I'm doing something else like sitting at a desk. I also do at least few push-ups a day depending on how ambitious I'm feeling because I don't have as much fat to get rid of on my chest. I'm not looking to become super fit or anything, I just want to be less doughy. So I ask you /fit/, amidoinitrite? Is there anything else you fine knowledgeable folks think I should do?
cardio will make you lose weight quicker then weight training but more muscle mass well let you keep it off
Also, I'm six feet tall and about 180-190 lbs if that helps at all.
honestly you gotta do more than that if you wanna lose weight
Put down the fork.
Stop drinking anything except for water
>>290570I pretty much do that already. I drink mostly water and orange juice.
