Hey /fit/.

I'm 173cm or 5'7.5 tall and 17 years of age. My dad and grandfather are both like 185cm tall and 6'2. Is there still a chance I can be as tall as them? Or taller?

Yes, men generally stop growing around 21

>17 years of age

stop worrying about these types of shit until you're 22 and sure that you've been over puberty

Height isn't nearly as much about genetics as nutrition and freedom from childhood illness. Your daddy's height means nothing if you've been starving and/or eating empty calories without enough vitamins. Yes, you can be a fatass while starving your body of necessary vitamins for growth.

I'm of average weight and eat a nutritious diet.

I don't usually eat a lot of junk food.

They aren't, dumbass. You fuckin' disgusting me with your ignorance.

average heights:

Ghana -- 5' 6.7"
Gambia -- 5' 6.1"

Netherlands -- 6' 0.8"

USA -- 5' 10.0" African-Americans, 20-39
USA -- 5' 10.2" White Americans, 20-39
USA -- 5' 6.8" Mexican-Americans, 20-39

The fact that uneducated cunts like you exist is the reason I RAAAAGE into the gym so hard four times a week and lift so much weight, so thanks, bud.

Height is primarily not genetic, but based on childhood nutrition and health.

how old are women before they generally stop growing?

You still have another few growth spurts; one in about a year, another (though lesser) one around 21 or 22, and a last one around 25. Although, the last one is more about filling out than getting taller.

You might get another couple inches out of it, but that's not a lot.

Welcome to mediocrity, bitch. You'll never be as tall as daddy.

I heard it was 25 from my doctor.

And you are taller than 5'7.5"... You are 5'8".

Height is determined 90% by genetics. You're going to be short.

Any fucking douche who thinks it's mostly nutrition and hard work is a fucking ignorant cunt. Much like the douches who think everyone puts on muscle at the same rate. Ignoring factors such as testosterone levels, hormone levels recovery rate, muscle fiber type, appetite, metabolic rate...

Do a quick google search and see.
