fit, why is it that when you work out, your body heats up? What is the physical reason my body gets warmer until I start to sweat while I work out.

This question has puzzled me for awhile now.

THERMODYNAMICS!

Energy can be released (like the energy you are using to make your body workout) in many forms, in this case it is heat.

No. Absolutely not. Your post was so fucking retarded that I'm actually bleeding out of the dick from reading it.

OP, you heat up because ATP biosynthesis is an exothermic reaction. End of story.

>>470082your body is basically making it's own energy.

electrons move from a very dense very stable form (fat, glucose, ect) to a very diffuse, reactive form (ATP, ADP + PO3) Going from dense stable forms to diffuse reactive forms is an exothermic reaction, energy from those broken chemical bonds is released in the form of heat.

friction goddamn

Movement of muscles causes friction.

Friction produces heat.

wow wtf /fit/ i hate it here you are all assholes

even /b/ is nice sometimes

some of it may be friction, yes, but the guy who said the breakdown of organic molecules (your fats, sugars, and protein) is a heat-releasing process has it right.

it takes energy to build all the chemical bonds in glucose for example, and the energy gets released, partly, when those bonds get broken during respiration.

when they say you are burning calories, you are in fact doing that. caloric content is the measure of how much heat it takes to break down the food you ate. your body is breaking down food molecules to replenish what you're diminishing.

That is because /fit/ is the even more insecure version of /b/. Only everyone is jocks and has no sense of humor because they can't get over the depression of how small their dicks are.
