Lateral delts, need to grow them, can't seem to be hitting them enough with the compound movements I do.

Need suggestions for isolated lifts. DB or BB, I do prefer DB thought.

I'm already doing raises.
I'll add lat rows, thanks.

Already doing behind the neck presses. Aren't shoulder presses in general for anterior delts?

Upright rows.

I always get a shiteating grin on my face when I'm fatiqued at upright rows, pretty odd that's it's out of your control.

I get a /v/ RAGE face, be happy you are just grinning.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong with raises sometimes.
I do them till I just can't raise my arms anymore but its not like I feel any muscle burn or whatever, its not like doing a chest press to failure or whatever, I can HGNGNGGGHHH rage face and push out that one really hard last rep, raises just..... fail. Woopteedoo, no sorry, won't do anymore this minute.

Also try military presses, almost as shoulder presses..

Military press has probably worked better than anything for me to get toned deltoids.

Just do lateral raises, arms straight out, slow negatives, 12 reps.

Use lighter weight and do more reps. Since this is a "cosmetic" exercise anyway, don't worry about low rep high weight. Save that for the military press.

is it normal to get slight pains in your upper back from militrary presses? like is it jsut my muscles or is it general pain i should have?
