Hey /fit/ i just got some creatine monohydrate, and i have not taken any. i go to the gym for about 3-4 hours a day, i also eat very well. I play basketball for about a hour and a half, and i lift weights for the rest of the time. Do you think this will help me?

OP here, should i be drinking a lot more water. i drink about a gallon a day.

yeah because its so hard to take it for 3 months and take one month off. and cycling has never been shown to help anyway nor has it ever been shown to hurt. cycling will save money anyways so why the hell not?

op:
its the fucking cheapest supplement available. there is no reason not to take it. don't listen to faggots that tell you to load. take no more than 3-5 grams a day. get it online and you should be able to get a kilo for 20 bucks. that'll last about a year.

also, creatine is not for BIGGER MUSSULS so if thats what you're expecting, you will be let down. the increase in muscle size will go away when you cycle off of it but the strength you gain will not.

OP you should probably drink a bit more water If you feel thirsty. I wasnt drinking enough when I started and your mouth will be dry etc. On a gallon you're probably fine

Can you drink milk with creatine instead of water? What I mean is, I struggle to put down enough calories daily, and drinking all this water is fucking with me even more. Needs more whole milk rippetoe style

OP here well im about 6'4" 230 and in good shape. i just have been using muscle milk all these years. And i want to try something new, but still use my protein.
