Sup /fit/. I've decided I want to stop looking like a porky fat fuck and get into better shape. At the moment I'm 175 lbs and 5 foot 9. I want to drop down to about 130 or 125. How would I go about doing this? How long would it take? What should I be eating, when should I be eating it? How should I be exercising, and how often? Some books I should check out to help? Thanks in advance.

is that you? And dude, weight doesnt really matter, its your body fat %. Started working out 6 weeks ago(im really new, not saying I know alot but my uncle is a body builder) and I know weigth 158, but I have dropped from a almost tight 34 waist, to a lose 32. Muscle ways mroe then fat, get muscle, lose fat, profite.

Don't just listen to me. This is what I was though from my uncle who weights over 250 and doesnt have a gram of fat on him. you dont want to just lose weight and look weak as fuck, IMO.

op I ate nothing but tuna, garden salad and 12 grain bread for 3 months and lost 45 pounds mind you im 6'5" and i was 275 now I'm 230 I lost more than 45 pounds of fat but I've been working out and have put on a lot of muscle mass and thats what i weigh now

If you are just looking to get leaner, aerobic exercise (getting heart going, more than 20 minutes of exercise at an elevated heart rate) is burning 60-80% fat, rest carbs, until you run out of carbs. The longer you can do aerobic exercise, the more fat you burn.

Seriously, a few months of doing aerobic exercise 5-6 times/week... You will look and feel a lot better. Make sure you are getting adequate complex carbs and plenty of water, however.
