Bruising on the collarbones is normal and it decreases after a while. Bruising on the thighs means you're bumping it off of your thighs. Think of going up in a straight line (like jumping with weight) instead of swinging it up, which you're probably doing since you're bumping it off of your thighs. If you can, work out with a friend who knows how to do powercleans to watch your form. You can also film yourself doing it.
