Never posted here before so hope Im not too far off base with this post but I was looking for advice on diet pills. There are so man products promising to kick your metabolism up to assist with with a diet and exercise. From what I read the best ones were the ephedrine based ones which are banned. Are there any that work better than other?

Yeah. I recommend a high dosage of self-motivation coupled with some stop being lazy. If you want to get in better shape, you can't take shortcuts. You only get out of it what you put in, and you can't buy results.

Don't bother with ephedrine either. It effects everybody differently, and most of those who say it's good are trying to sell you something. If you want to raise your metabolism, do it naturally by going for a run in the morning.

Find a buddy and get them to work out with you. If you have a friend in crazy good shape, ask him for pointers. Let people know your goals so that way a) if they see a difference they'll let you know, and b) that way you can't back down.

It really all comes down to you in the end; drugs aren't a solution. Good luck meeting your goals with an attitude like that.

Well honestly when I see myself in the mirror I am apathetic to it thinking "eh whatever". As far as people in public seeing me I really dont care as I go out of my way to not talk to them or look at them. Pretty much only go out for work, food, booze and cigarettes.

The only reason I ask this question to begin with is my weight has hit a point where it is less than comfortable and I would like quick ways to drop it back down. Stuff like bending over to tie my shoes etc has gotten hard. I just want to get the weight down to a situation where I can be comfortable again and not feel like unbuttoning my pants while sitting. After I achieve that I fully intend to go back to my glutinousness ways.
