acceptable squats? Anonymous
Is it OK to use a 20lbs weight to do squats with for balance? (holding the 20lb free weight with both hands) i'm not trying to bulk up since i'm female i just want to tone.

Squats are benificial regardless of weight. Free weights are what I use for Squats when I'm doing a weighted circuit, just make sure you have a firm grip of them.

That is what the arguement is about. It pisses people off who are bulking because people think it is easy to build muscle and it happens overnight.
