Abstinence. I've never been great with it. This would probably lead to people questioning my overall dedication to my own health and fitness, rightly so. I'll just say that while I'm not a particularly motivated person, and that I exercise simply because I enjoy it. I don't view it as a chore or a sacrafice anymore, and if I did, I wouldn't be doing it. I guess it's in my blood to do what I like. I'm just lucky I happend to like at least one productive activity.

Lately though, I've been questioning my self indulgence. I work hard. There's no doubt there. But I'm wondering whether I've been hindering myself. How do you do it, /fit/? Give me tips. Sex, masturbation, alcohol, caffiene, smoking, anything. How do you stop yourself and why?

OP here, the post is badly written, I know. I'm a little distracted right now and I ended up typing alot of short sentences.

I'm just asking what the people of /fit/ avoid for the name of fitness, for example, giving up smoking or drinking, and how they went about it.

Alot of athletes abstain from sex before big events and there seems to be alot of preaching against excessive masturbation here because of the lethargic feeling it enduces. I was wondering if anyone gave up any other vices.
