Doctors won't diagnose me, will you?
I get dizziness lasting from 5-60 minutes around five times a day, Sometimes I pass out. It is worse in the morning.
I've had serc and stemzine but they did nothing. I passed out in nine minutes on a tilt test.
I also have tinnitus, one doctor thought it was relevant but two did not. I took a hearing test and have perfect hearing.

Go to a few more doctors I guess. Doctors suck if it's not something easy. Find someone great.

You need to go straight to both a NEUROLOGIST and an ENDOCRINOLOGIST or perhaps an ENT

Dear anti-smoking campaign.

I am a nineteen year old male. My name is Alex Thompson. I do not smoke. Nor have I ever wanted to.
However, occassionally my waning teenage spite makes me consider lighting up. Spite not for my parents who say I shouldnt. The fact remains my parents have done their job, they told me smoking is dangerous and that it could lead to serious health problems. But they also said "If your legal to buy it your legal to smoke it"
I see so much money put into televised anti-smoking ads that I actually become aggrovated. The tobacco industry is selling a product, and by law they explain that their products do lead to very deadly health issues. Also the extravagant advertisments against them tells me just how deadly cigarettes are. I get it. The rest of the world gets it. And still, tobaccoo companies make a profit.
It is also proven that nicotine is addictive. Everyone knows this as well, and yes, it makes quitting smoking very difficult, but there are products out there that can help. It is difficult, not impossible.
I am actually very bitter, though, about how much money is wasted on these extravagant ads to tell me how dangerouse tobacco is. They could be spending money on people are trying to quit. Or people who are ill for the various effects of smoking. Once again, I KNOW.
So far all I see is a waste of money, and I have been seriously considering smoking and picking up this terminal habit to put an end to this waste of economic resource. I've already picked out a really neat and stylish lighter with one of my favorite video game characters on it. Just talking to some smoking friends about what kind of cigarette I should pick up.

When I pass out usually I get a heat flash accompanying the dizziness, and have hearing loss and massive amounts of sweat when I regain conciousness.

Any triggers? Anything that you do or that you notice happens every time before the episode?

How much water do you drink in a day? What's your diet like?

Nothing consistent.
Always have a bottle of water next to my computer and i empty it about 4 times a day.
No fast food for 2 years, and I prepare most of my own food since I'm a shut in.

Then go see the other two. My math teacher once had a problem where her body was expelling mass amounts of water. No other diagnosed her but one, the endocrinologist and it was determined she had a brain tumor. I fear you may have a either a tumor or perhaps some hormone imbalance. Of course, i'm no doctor so go see them now.

CT showed no tumor.

You've got vasovagal syncope.
Treatment is avoidance of triggers, muscle tensing exercises, and tilt training (although I've found once study that concluded tilt training does nothing).

No drug therapy has any proven efficacy, and the pathophysiology of the disease is uncertain.

You could try drinking more water to keep your fluid volume up. When you pass out it's due to a parasympathetic tone controlling your heart rate and blood pressure. Pressure drops, blood doesn't get to the brain.

As you age, the episodes will decrease and be less often (hopefully).

Just be aware of it and be ready. Don't fall and hit your head or somethgin when you pass out.

The first decent diagnosis, thank you.

Do you have any other diagnoses?

Or Gatorade. Try both.

>>20101
The drugs prescribed were for vertigo.
There is one flaw with vasovagal syncope, I very rarely pass out.
>> ?suomynonA?

Stemzine (Prochlorperazine) is more of a nausea and vomiting treatment.

Serc (betahistine) is approved for meniere's, which I doubt you have, but if you were to have it, the fainting doesn't make much sense. If in that case you wouldn't want to drink gatorade.

The tilt test is specifically for vasovagal syncope, so that's indicative.

But I'm not sure which balance disorder you have, but I'm sure it's balance related.

Could be something wrong in the pituitary gland.
