Hey /fit/, I have a question I was hoping you could help me with:

How long should you wait after a workout to eat? And what do you think is best to eat after a workout (in before OATZ).

eat as soon as possible, and eat A LOT.

you mainly want protein and carbs, avoid fats if possible as they slow digestion.

JUST EAT A LOT. shakes, meats, milk, fruits, etc.

OK I'm getting it. You wouldn't be so kind as to suggest a post workout meal plan, could you?

I know you suggested some things above but are there any exact foods for protein/cards/whatever that I should eat? How much of each?

you should avoid eating too much BEFORE a workout -- because then you will just burn off the food instead of burning fat. if that's what you're going for.

Try and make yourself a protein shake immediately post workout. Eat whatever protein and carbs you can. These can be chicken/turkey breast, fish, beans, lentils, or tuna. For carbs, oats are really good. Oatmeal, oatbran, that kind of stuff. Also vegetables. The green leafy kind. They're really nutrient dense and have a lot of carbs in them.

My hourly schedule before workout:

Eat hueg portion pasta with cheese and spinage or red pesto.
Wait 1 Hour.
Consume Creatine cap, and No2.
Wait 45minutes.
Workout
15 minutes or asap after workout neck a protein shake, then i prepare 1 cut up apple, some cashew nuts, 10 blackberries and a tuna sandwich.
Wait 2 hours
Eat mainmeal - Chicken breasts + rice.
