Jicama Fries Anonymous
Sup, /fit/.

I've been doing low carb/high protein for months, and, to be honest, I miss my God damned french fries.

I've been looking up some healthier alternatives and I found this -- Jicama fries.

Has anyone on /fit/ ever had these? What do they taste like? How healthy are they, really?

Lemme know.

For one medium jicama, fried in 3 to 6 cups of vegetable oil...according to the food network anyway.

Hmm. Would probably be a bit healthier if I baked them. I perfer my fries baked, anyway.

yucca def. has more carbs than jicama... but you know, that recipe above is actually pretty healthy - big stack of fries with fewer carbs than a slice of bread!!! and if you cook 'em in a healthy oil like canola, it is win all around.

Atkins puts no cap on fat intake; your cholesterol goes through the roof with all the problems associated with that. Keto diets with a defined fat gram limit CAN work but they tend to kill performance in the gym. I know a few people who do well on them but not many.

why do some ridiculous diet that you've got to constantly keep track of, instead of just learning to eat properly like a non-retard? i lost 60 lbs in 3 months by eating with common fucking sense and exercising. nevermind, i know the answer, you don't want to exercise and want a fast easy solution (there is never a fast easy solution to anything long term)

Goku dies of heart problems in certain timelines. Are you saying that Goku doesn't know anything about fitness?
