Yeah, it doesn't simply result from drinking too much water. It results from how much your body retains the current batch of water as supposed to how much water you drink, as shown in the FOURTH LINK, as well as the fact that there is no such thing as "flushing the kidneys" because your kidneys will always process the same amount of toxins, extra water or no.
The FIFTH, SIXTH and SEVENTH link all state that there is no such thing as a recommended dietary intake of water, and because drinking too much water can fuck up your electrolyte balance, as well as the fact that THE LESS SALT IN YOUR BODY as well as THE MORE WATER YOU RETAIN, the desire to drink water is ironically greater.
