Try and make yourself a protein shake immediately post workout. Eat whatever protein and carbs you can. These can be chicken/turkey breast, fish, beans, lentils, or tuna. For carbs, oats are really good. Oatmeal, oatbran, that kind of stuff. Also vegetables. The green leafy kind. They're really nutrient dense and have a lot of carbs in them.
