Halp /fit/!

I'm trying to get in shape for my best friends wedding in late January. That would be me on the left...I would kill my grandmother to look like my friend on the right.

The main problem is my arms. I am nowhere near a gym, so right now I'm just looking at hand weights. What size should I get, how many reps should I start with, what exercizes should I do, and what should the build up be?

the main problem is you are fat all over, probably sitting around 38%. Clean your diet, and go for a run. Hand weights wont do shit, don't build up to anything.

If you want very small muscular definition and to tighten the skin after you run 20-30lbs off your ass, then do pushups and pullups, or do them consecutively.

Work up to running 5-7km every day. Start by running 1, then see how you hold up the next day. Stay consistent. In 2 months you will reach your goal.

also your friend is naturally much more beautiful than you, and obviously genetically superior- so no matter how hard you train, 9/10 guys would pick her over you- just because imagine how good she would look if she went through all the hell you're about to put yourself through.

I know. I'm working on the overall rehaul of my body. But even while I've lost and gained weight, my arms have always stayed the same. So I really want to kick start that part

Yeah, you have to do cardio to get rid of fat. Any type will work, such as running, swimming, and using an elliptical. The key is to do it hard. If you're able to maintain a conversation while doing it (analogy does not apply to swimming) then you're not doing it hard enough.
