Sup /fit/

So, I saw this commercial about this series of DVDs called Crunchless Abs.

http://www.crunchlessabs.com

Now I'm usually pretty smart about not believing any of that miracle bullshit they advertise on those type of commercials, but after visiting their website, I'm actually considering buying it.

It consists of exercises that focus on the abdominal region, and targeting areas that regular crunches don't take care of.

I've been doing about 50 crunches twice a day for about a month now. Sure I can see results, but it's just not enough.

TL;DR, Should I just buy it or not and will it help.

You think 50 crunches twice a day will do anything? If you want to see improvement in your abdominal region, you need to DESTROY them. Meaning when you leave the gym (or the floor of your room) you shouldn't be able to move comfortably. And the next day if you move at all, you didn't do enough.

I personally work my abs 3 times a week, and do approximately 300 crunches on an declined bench, then 100 leg ups, 100 or 200 oblique crunches, and if i have the energy i do more. The key is to ruin the area you're working, and try to sweat a little.

I'm sensing some sarcasm here.

Do those really help? Because my belly is the area on my body that needs the most work.

I think I'll just buy it. It's only $10, so it's not like it's going to kill me to try it out or anything.

If you buy this piece of crap, you are too far gone for any of us to help you.

Don't be retarded, keep at it, and up the intensity.

i lol'd at the "how it works" page

HOW IT WORKS:

YOUR ABS ARE LOTS OF MUSSELS
CRUNCHES ONLY DO 2 MUSSELS
THIS THING DOES MUSCLES YOU DIDN'T EVEN KNOW YOU HAD

Why don't you post your diet?
Do you really think that doing 50 crunches per day will make a difference if you don't change your diet and lower your body fat? You can do 1000 crunches if you like, it won't do shit if you don't lower your body fat.

FFFFFFFFFF

I always feel wrecked after I do them. Plus I increase my crunches by 10 every week.

The reason why I'm even considering this is because it's supposed to target other areas around the waist. Like I have some stubborn areas of fat near my shoulder blades and in the love handles that I just can't get rid of.

I don't think I could ever get to the point of 200+ crunches a day though. I mean goddamn.

Squatz always help: especially if you're joining the military (enjoy your force marches!)

If you really want to just throw away ten dollars I'll charge you a $10 consulting fee for recommending squats.

Well, I have 3 meals a day. For breakfast I usually have scrambled eggs (no egg yolk) and a fruit salad. For lunch I try to have either chicken (skinless) or some type of sandwich on wheat bread, no mayonaise.

For dinner I usually cook fish, baked. Stuff like cod, salmon, etc. I also have some type of vegtable side dish like asparagus, peas, a salad, whatever.

I also walk every morning, and I use an exercise bike every evening. I walk about a mile, right now I'm just trying to build up my stamina so I can go further.

I also do 40 sit ups and jumping jacks.

Oh, and I weigh 148 lbs, and I'm 5'2.

Well, I don't know shit about strength building. I thought it just wouldn't hurt to try it out.

I'm not really in it to get rock hard abs or anything, I just don't want to have a beer gut anymore.

do what the strength builder dudes do anyways, because its the fastest and best way to change your body. dont want to get any bigger? eat less, lift less. but if you wanna burn fat, get toned etc. train like the dude looking to pack on 40lbs of muscle and get ripped down to 3%bf and squat 450lbs. your goals will be reached 10x faster

if you really wanna try it out download a torrent, then if its crap, you didnt waist any money

Not bad but you also need the amount of calorie you are eating. Try to eat smaller meals but more often. Also calories intake < calories burnt = loosing fat you should already know this.

Also>>191359is partialy right, you need to start weightlifting, muscles will burn more calories by themselves so you will be loosing faster.

Trying to burn fat on an isolated region will not work, your body will redistribute your bodyfat where there is some missing, yes you will lose fat but not specificaly in that region.

I can't beleive I wrote a serious awnser on 4chan

abs come from diet not how many crunches you can do, idiot.
