Hey /fit/,
How do I get faster? I do Olympic lifts (snatch), work the posterior chain (glute-ham raises), do ballistic throws of a 15 lbs. plate, jump for height and distance, box squat, jump squat, and sprint for time, and I do all of that pretty damn well except for the last. Wut?

How old are you and what's your fastest 100m time? How much do you weigh? How much do you squat? Deadlift? Bench? Snatch? etc.

You're going to need to give more information if you want answers.

Look up books for a running and sprinting technique. I went to the library almost ten years ago for stuff like this, so I bet you're library will have some also.

I'd work on getting stronger. Aim to squat at least 1.5x your bodyweight and deadlift 2x your bodyweight.

Not necessarily. By that logic, a 400 lb man that squats 550 lbs would be faster than a 200 lb man that squats 500 lbs.

I single arm snatch 100 lbs. on a barbell, box pistol squat 105 lbs., I can do 8 glute-ham raises in a row, 20 jump squats at 100 lbs., I throw a 15 lbs. plate around 10-14 meters, a standing horizontal leap around 10 feet, and have a 28-32 inch standing vertical. Upper body work mostly pushups and pullups. I weigh 150 lbs., and am 5'10".

Plyometrics are good, if not great.

and 14 sec for 100 meters is sort of slow, how old/how tall/how much do you weigh, OP?

Also, you seem to be neglecting calves...
those are what make a fast man.
