it does, I worked my ass off to get from 105 to just shy of 160 and now I'm right around the 150 mark. it blows.

it's not that I had much of a choice though, I use my college's gym and didn't have access to it over the summer. Bodyweight exercises only go so far. I got good at handstandpushups though.

Its funny how that works for Ectomorphs. Same for me man, If I am slacking and not paying attention, the weight just comes off. I fought up to 190 from 175. My lifts are still a little pathetic though. I lost 20lbs on the bench and 5 pounds of weight early this summer. Almost all the way back now though.

Everyone complaining on the board should start realizing different people have different needs and goals. You should all go read a book instead of calling this guy a troll.

I don't see what's so hard about _not_ eating. You don't have to go out of your way to put down the fucking cheeseburger, and you don't have to eat so much you almost puke. I say having a high metabolism trumps any problem that fatties have.

also note that most of the mass I lost over the summer seems to have come from my lower body, particularly my glutes... no way of working them. chinups and handstand pushups helped me mantain upper body to a degree but lower... ehh I'm not doing 500 1 legged squats I don't like high volume

we recover slower
we need more time to recover because of it.

therefore you usually need to lift less frequently in lower volume in order to NOT suffer from overtraining. It varies by person, but an ecto not on steroids is probably about right lifting 2 or 3 times a week, again LOW VOLUME, high intensity.

endos on the other hand recover quickly from lifting, they can benefit from further training as compared to an ectomorph and don't have a tremendous risk of overtraining. Mesomorphs are in between.

Same problem. Cept I went from 140-120.

I have a semi-excuse. Nagging injury that i let go on until i finally got tired of it and stopped lifting until I fix it. But I was getting lazier and lazier. Working out 2x a week and skipping deadlifts too. Got tired of making no progress for 6 months so i just lost motivation on top of it hurting when i lifted.

Hoping Ill feel into it when i'm all healed up so i can get to 150 lbs. Im 5'7". I have wider shoulders and a smaller waist/lower body so I look heavier due to thicker upper body. 150 will look 160-170 on me. I look 20 lbs more than I am or so.

Positive about this is I can just wear an over shirt and I look average build instead of thin since my shoulders drape jackets down nicely and cover thin forearms.

Know OPs problem. I weigh around 120 and I eat pizzas and hamburgers and fuck knows what and it's hard to eat every 2-3 hours (even smaller meals). I used to lift but stopped when summer hit (lazy skinny fag, life is great).

But now that summer is over I'm starting a real routine.

Fatties think they're the only one's with problems.

1) you lost fucking weight for SLACKING OFF on your DIET

2) not knowing that you have muscle memory and should you start working out again it well take halft the time to reach your origonal size

depends on the context, if you physically changed recently your body will have a buildup of various hormones and your body is prime to revert towards where it once was, at least to a degree. Part of the reason why a guy can struggle to get to 160 from 150, go to 150 again and get back up to 160 relatively quickly.

arms are decent I believe, i've actually had random girls walk up to me and say that my arms look big, arms are 14" cold which while not huge is decent given my light frame, they probably look like they're 15" on an average framed guy.
