Hey /fit/

what do you think of my workout plan?
I do this since a few weeks and it's good so far:
I got it from www.bodybuilding.com

A typical workout might look like the following:

Mondays/Thursdays - Chest, Back & Rear Delts

Incline Dumbbell Bench Press - 8 sets of 8-12 reps
Dumbbell Rows - 10 sets of 10 reps
Dumbbell Flyes - 2 sets of 10 reps
Bent Over Lateral Raises - 3 sets of 15 repetitions

Sounds pretty gruelling to have only one rest day a week. You'll have to make sure you keep up with a good diet to justify having a workout like this. Also, judging by the rep range, it's definitely for just growing muscle. That is, you won't get as strong as you would with higher weights and lower reps.

OP here:

I am 5,8 and 162 lbs. I am not fat but I need to lose some bodyfat to get in shape. Especially the belly, my arms are getting bigger though, I am not the MONSTER BB type...

So, would you recommend it to me?
Or do you have any other suggestions?

Generally do a specific body area once per week (chest/shoulders/triceps one day, legs another day and back/biceps a third day). Separate each session by two days (like do it Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays).

To lose body fat, do HIIT cardio inbetween your workout days (like on Tuesdays and Thursdays). That leaves you with two full days for your body to recover. Believe me, you'll need the rest eventually. I recently had to take a good four days off for my body to completely recover (it doesn't help that they work us to death where I work at).

So basically, here's an ideal exercise routine:
Monday: Chest, Shoulders, Triceps
Tuesday: HIIT Cardio
Wednesday: Legs
Thursday: HIIT Cardio
Friday: Back, Biceps
Saturday/Sunday: Rest

Awesome. Thank you. How many exercises should I do for each day or body part?
