you have the right idea.
definitely focus more on weight than reps. and spread your protein throughout the day... really, no more than half should come from supplements... the rest needs to be from food.
and eat more. you will not get fat. and if you see that six pack starting to fade, maybe cut back a little then.
if you don't want to drink half a gallon of milk, drink a quart. that is two or three big glasses. one in the morning, one at night, one with lunch. easy stuff.
also, get 'starting strength' by mark rippetoe
btw, if strength/size is the goal, skinny people do it the same as fat people. i'm basically doing the same thing @ 5'11 235 and getting great results.
