If that's really how they feel, then more power to them. However, it could just be a defense. Some portray skinny people as being evil and unhappy, and fat people as being happy. Some could have conflicting views on their weight, but are greeted by dogs in internet groups who tell them that it's ok, that they're beautiful, etc etc.
It hits home with me. I have a mother who, you can tell, it just hurts for her to live. She's always tired, she gets mad a lot....And I know these are things that skinny people can have, but somehow I find them related to her weight. She sees me losing or not eating as much as I should, and throws the fact that she pigs out in my face. If anything, I have the utmost pity for her. She looks so happy when she's eating and terrible most other times. However, this could just be me projecting all of htis onto her because I am trying to lose weight.
Anyway, the commercial for Liposine ran over and over, and she said something about how the diagram looked like her when she was depressed, and that she guessed there was no hope. I told her that she didn't try, and that it's not that hard. She didn't respond.
This is related because my mother is into the BBW groups herself. She is one of those " i'm comfortable with my weight " people. I'm not one to judge her, so idk.
