So, now it's year 2008. Jan - Still doing what I said above. Now, it's around... March - I decide to pick up my gym routine. Rather than going whenever I felt like it, I decided to stick to a 5-day a week thing. Now, it's April, I decide to check my weight. 205. Great, lost some weight! Continue to keep up my "going when I feel like it" gym habits.
Now, my parents decide to cancel my gym membership because they feel they're wasting money because I rarely go now - so the last time I checked my weight was around the end of April. I managed to get down to 195.
So now, I have no gym membership - BUT, I do notice I've lost some weight. I now want to stay healthy so I keep a strict diet. School year ends and I decide to get a haircut. (I had long emo-hair. Looked like shit.)
Now, this is the point where confusion hits it's all time highest. I get a haircut, Medium/short cut. Surprisingly it looks good. I got it around the end of June. Just about EVERYONE I know is telling me, from seeing me for the first time with my haircut, that I've lost A LOT of weight.
I find this VERY odd as I recall I barely started dieting. I continue dieting, now breaking any of my rules, walking about 2-5 miles everyday. Drinking A LOT of water. It's now early August, 2008. I ask my brother if he's going to the gym so I can weigh myself.
We arrive and they reluctantly let me weigh myself. They had 2 mechanical weighers and an electronic one. I get on the electronic one, it says I'm 165lbs. Me and my brother IMMEDIATELY assume it's malfunctioning. So we try the first mechanical one - It says 163-165. We try the other, It says 162 with my shoes off.
So, I'm standing there, SHOCKED at how much weight I have lost.
