Man if I just let myself eat I'd probably be a big ol' fatty and eat like 5000 calories a day. That said, I dont eat that and am not a fatty. Currently trying to slim down a bit more, so am eating between 1800 and 2400 calories a day.
OP you need to cut out shit like tortilla chips, which are calorie dense and not very filling. You can eat like a pound of steamed vegetables at a sitting, if you want though. 1lb steamed veggies = 400 calories (depends on veggie, but about that)
My lunch today is 12oz steamed vegetables (240 calories [corn,beans, carrots, peas]) and 1 can white albacore tuna 210 calories. So 450 calories for lunch and I'm eating, literally a pound of food.
Get a Hungry Man 1lb of food or 3 quarter pounders for the same food by weight and you'll eat between 800 and 2000 calories in that sitting.
