You're not gonna make it.

I'm joining the Air Force this month (soon as all the THC is out of my system) and it's taken me since January to get from 235 to 177.

...and since there's already a thread started about the military, I'll just ask my question here. How much running is done in PT? I know it's a lot, but what should I be able to do going in?

newfag? You're the one asking for a basic workout on a subject that's covered everyday. You can only safetly lose 2-3 pounds a week. That means that if you go 100%, you'll lose 12 pounds by next month. And that's eating properly, running 3 times a week etc. Beyond that, you're asking for a workout routine which means you aren't sure you'll make basic fitness standards.

ENJOY. YOUR. REMEDIAL. PT. WITH. THE. OTHER. FAILURES.

Give yourself 2 months of hard-ass dieting and working out and you'll pull it off.

I suggest biking and elliptical a fuck load while eating and much plant based protein as you can (I suggest hummus. stuff is fucking nom)

Airforce PT is a joke. I was out of shape as hell when I joined up, and I didn't really have an issue with it.

Just cut 500 calories off your maintenance level, do 30 minutes of cardio every other day.

You'll be fine.

How long ago was this though? I've heard that within the last couple of years they've amped it up to get away from the "Chair Force" image.

I'm in the AF right now and I'll agree. PT is a joke. Be able to do 55 pushups run 3.5 miles and do 60 sit ups. As for the diet stick to vegetables alot of water and chicken. Bmt was cake. Have fun rolling your shirts bro.
