Hey /fit/ Anonymous
Doign a gym assignment where I have to make a pt program based on alternative methods of strength training (tires, sleds, body weight exercises...)

We need to make programs to work on hypertrophy, strength, and endurance. I am drawing blanks here. Any ideas for exercises or anyone wanting to point me in the right direction? (google thus far hasn't provided much as to specifics)

This is one round:

8 tire flips
100m bodyweight sled drag
Pull-ups to failure
Pistols until failure
Handstands

Complete 3 rounds as fast as possible

tire flips are win. You could make a whole workout based around tires, rope and a 16lb sledge hammer

Tire flips
Tire pulls
hammer large tire with sledge 15x each arm
tire push
tire throw
Leg press large tire

the possibilities are endless

Okay, I will do tires for strength, now I jsut need hypertrohy and endurance.

Are sleds good for hypertrophy? What are good body weight exercises for endurance?

Both programs will elicit strength, hypertrophy, and endurance gains. Look at this chart and figure it out for yourself.

That's forgivable.

Out of curiosity, what kind of gym assignment is this? Is it for work, school, or uni?

SO anyone have good sled training exercises that I should look up?
