Hai, /fit/ -I'm doing the program described in Rippetoe's "Starting Strength," and I'm thinking of making a slight modification - doing overhead squats instead of back squats on Wednesdays. I know this will ultimately lead to lower gains in all of my other exercises, but based on everything I've read, and the low-weight overhead squats I do for warmups and mobility, I think the benefits I'd get would outweigh this...What do you think?
