Hey I had hernia surgery about a week ago. The doctor says its about a four-week recovery period but 10 days later I feel like I'm fully recovered. Yesterday I spent about two hours gently walking up and down a smooth mountain trail so I'm wondering, can I do sit ups and push ups and run yet? My family keeps telling me not to push myself and keep just playing video games all day, but after two days of gaming straight I've been burnt out of being on a couch.

You came to the right place for a second opinion if you were wanting to hear what you already knew. Go balls out bro, hernias are not serious enough to worry about. I doubt the same spot would rupture again because now you've got it fixed with glue or some shit right?

I'm a doctor and I concur with this intelligible anon.
SQUATZ at full force are not only fine for you to do right now after your surgery but they will help you heal faster.
Also the more weight you use the better. Try to set a personal record.

are you a retard or something? The four weeks your doc recommended are conservative. 2 months is more likely for heavy workouts.
Go on an enjoy your exploding belly.

Just take his advice and LISTEN. Why do people think they know best? Even if you are a Super Saiyan, it will only help just to take them extra few weeks of rest to FULLY recover.
