Cravings Shiggy
good morning /fit/, how long did it take those who apply to this to eventually not have to worry bout cravings because i have a binging problem thats been under control for the past 2 weeks

I keep a pretty detailed log and for me to really stop craving anything at all it took about 30 days. I have a cheat meal once a week, but lately I dont even care that much about it.

The difference between want and need is self-control.

I just reminded myself that being glorious will be forever, and I'll do whatever it takes.

Thus, no relapse and eventually no weak lust.

I am really skinny (145 and 5' 11"). I don't really gain weight, is the crap food keeping me from gaining muscle? I don't really eat fast food, but I do eat a lot of subs.

lack of protein probably is.

I was 6'1 and around 130-135, I'm now around 180.

Just eat alot of GOOD foods, then eat more, then drink a fuckload of milk, then keep eating, once you're done with that, eat some more, go to a friend's house, eat all their food, then go home and eat your furniture.

You get the idea.

op here:
what ya want to do is begin to take in whey protein supplements, you need to take in 1 gram of protein for every pound you weigh, along with heavy heavy weights and sets of 3 with 6-8 reps you will build muscle

I fucking failed hard yesterday. Woke up, had a decent breakfast. Veggie omelet, an orange, and coffee. Later, I had to go to this ceremony thing, and they had a refreshment table. I started eating cheese cubes and cookies. Then, a few of us go straight to the Mexican restaurant. I binge on chips and salsa for a long time because our server forgot about us.

I also took a break from running yesterday after running the previous three days.

Yesterday was made of fail and moar fail. Today, I'm back on.

Everybody goes off their diet at some point. It's more or less inevitable for one reason or another. Diets aren't a thing of one day or couple of hours; they're a thing of a matter of months or years. To think you'll never ever ever cheat in the next 40-50 years is just vanity; and the honest truth is the occasional binge doesn't do jack shit to you if you get back on the wagon the next day. It's when it becomes habitual you need to worry.

I think everyone should just stay positive. I think when you beat yourself up about not exercising one day or not eating healthy it makes you feel like crap. Then once you make yourself feel like crap you fall back into old habits. When we feel good about ourselves on the inside, we will then take the time to make ourselves look the way we want too on the outside.

I started by changing what I ate. I didn't focus so much on cutting back on the binges, but just what I ate when I craved foods. Instead of eating pizza I make a huge fuck off salad that could fit in a popcorn bowl and I'm set for the next 4 or 5 hours. Just doing that has yeilded results. Next stop is portion control.
