Hey /fit/

I have a health question. It's actually starting to really interfere with my daily life.

When I 'think' about having a heart palpitation.. I will actually have one. Not necessarily think and it happens, but I can generate this feeling in my chest and I will have palpitations.

The bad part is that I've done it so much on accident that I can't help but let the palpitations start. Sometimes they'll last all day, and if they are happening before I sleep, they will happen the entire night.

I'm worried about my heart, /fit/. Any advice?

I think my heart does this too.
I never got it check out with my doctor, but I ran approx 3 miles one day with my Airforce ROTC group.
I'm not dead. You should get it checked out though.

You have spots in your heart that are amplifying and most likely changing your heartbeat. I bet one internet that your heartbeat is regular, but not normal

Least, that's wht they told me when they suggested and did surgery on me for my heart. I was dropping weights at the gym and passing out. I still have the problem, but after the surgery, it's much better

Have you ever passed out, Anon? And if so, did you have a seizure? Because what you describe is often a symptom of vaso-vagal sympathy.
