Any difference between the incline barbell row and bent over barbell row?a pal of mine got me into the incline ones instead of the bent over ones while doing my Stronglift 5x5, but if bent over is the way to do it I can go back
Are you maybe just a little bit high?
>>290660k what, I know there is a difference but what IS the difference mussle wise?im just asking what do i gain/lose from doing one or the other?
no difference?
>>290656if you do these with an abdominal support like in your pic you're just basically working your back and nothing else. bent over rows with a bar (like in my pic) hit essentially every muscle in the upper body except the chest and triceps and that includes the abdominal and lower back (which a lot of ppl tend to neglect). i'd say do the bent rows it'll save you more time and give you better results unless you just wanna focus on your back alone which is kinda stupid.
>>290703When you do these, are your upper arms supposed to be perpendicular to your body at the top of the motion? Or is it alright if they are closer to parallel to your body, maybe 30ish degrees out?
>>290713http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ss5SuopztW4this. ass in air, arms straight.
>>290703You can do more weight with support.
>>290722the only good thing about this dudes bent rows is the fact that he sticks his ass up but his torso should be in a 45 degree angle and if im not mistaken that looks like a 90, which you can do but if you do it that way you might as well do the rows in a bench.
>>290772wrong, you don't need your abs, ass, legs and backs as much on a bench.
>>290777no you're wrong when someone does a bent over row like the dude in the vid is doing although he is using his abs he is overemphasizing his back muscles to the point that the other muscles involved do not play a major roll in the movement. you know shit about this because you mention legs, legs have nothing to do with this exercise.
>>290777oh i forgot and ass has nothing to do with it either. you want ass and legs, do fucking squatz brah.
