hi /fit/. i'm trying to not be a faggot and lurking moar, but in the process i've come with something i can't seem to figure out.so i've been reading the FAQ. useful shit. and i've come with this>>You can determine your BMR by multiplying your current weight by 10. For example, if you weigh 180 pounds, then eating 1,800 calories a day would be your BMR.so i weight 183 calories, meaning my bmr is 1830.so, then, i go to the nutrient database. i search for a lemonade and it tells me a serving of lemonade has 98kcal. and this is where i get dumb.i find out one kcal are 1000 calories. if 1kcal is 1000cal, 98kcal are 98000cal. wtf. i know this must be fucking dumb, and i'm sorry. i'm not supposed to be asking such stupid stuff, but i just don't get it.thanks, /fit/.
>>3080121kcal = 1 Calorie(food) = 1000 calories
People are lazy. Cals are really kcals.
Food calories=kcal
you're just massively uninformed. Calories aren't actually used to measure things anymore, what people call calories are actually Kcal.
>>308026>>308027>>308032>>308035thanks
wish I weighed 183 calories
