So /fit/, I work the night shift (weekends only), from thursday to sunday.I have no problem exercising every day of the week (except Sunday, never have, never will). But, since those days I am working at night and sleeping during the day, I wonder what would be the best eating habits for those days. For example, they say that you shouldnt eat heavy foods at night, so, for me, it would mean that after 5 or am I should be eating lite stuff only (I get out of work at 6 am, and I work out from 6:30 to 8:30 am, I go to bed at 9am if i have the energy, if not, I go to the gym after I wake up).So what does /fit/ thinks? Also, is it best to work out one specific group of muscles a day (example, monday=shoulders, tuesday=legs, wednesday=chest, thursday=back, friday=arms) or a combined rutine like most people do (example, monday=back and legs, tuesday=chest and shoulder, etc).Halp, /fit/
I recommend eating while you are awake.
Anyone?
get better shifts.
It doesn't matter when you eat, you shouldn't eat heavy at all. You should eat small meals 5-6 times a day
