I seem to have this problem. It's kinda easy to tell with pic provided. Basically, what's been going on is that for some unknown reason, I like to cut myself in the heel area of my foot. Sometimes, I do it without even thinking; I will just sit there, watching TV and picking and stabbing at it. It doesn't hurt me until the point where I cut off too much skin and I start bleeding. I don't think it affects my health in anyway, but it is really emberassing after I'm done taking a shower or when I get out of a pool because my skin sucks up the water and it looks like mashed up cauliflower down there.

What I'm asking is that if anybody knows something I can do so I can stop cutting down there? It would really help a lot, so thanks for any suggestions.

could wear away the hard skin with pumice so it's more sensitive.

Other than that, find something to keep your hands busy, fiddle with a pen or something.

glue socks to foot, problem solved

I have a similar problem.
Ha ha. Weird.

I can't stand any loose skin, and I will tear it away, but the problem is, it doesn't tear evenly/tears too deep.

It will take a while to fully heal. It will only fully heal if you don't touch it.

Wear shoes that enclose your foot completely. Wear socks when you aren't wearing shoes. Leave your feet the fuck alone.

Hope that helps.

HAHAHA. Dude, I used to this myself, so I just had epic lulz. I used to eat the skin I peeled away too... I was a fucked up kid.

Anyway... I just leave my socks on all the time. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. I guess I just got bored with it too.
