Quick question /fit/ cardio before or after weight stuff?

I heard that one way builds muscle and the other loses fat or is this bull?

Thanks in return a diagram showing what people call drinks in different parts of America.

I have read lots of different views on this.

One train of thought seems to suggest doing cardio before weights saps you of the energy to do better/heavier reps.

The other side I believe says its good to warm up before weights..

Personally, I do 15 mins *light* cardio before weights as I like to warm up.

i do 30 mins cardio before lifting, but then again i'm not a serious lifter.

if you are a serious lifter then i would say do 5-10 mins to warm up, then lift, then do more cardio after you're done. you don't want to get carried away before you lift or you'll burn through your blood sugar and you'll get tired quicker.

lifting in the evening

if you do both at the same time, lift and then cardio

the lifting burns through your glycogen stores, and then the cardio goes for the fat as opposed to glycogen (since you've sapped yourself of it)

this info came from a med student, and she got the info from her professor in medical school
