Hey /fit/, first time browser.

I shaved my pubes 2 days ago, and I've got major razor bumps/ingrown hairs. Will they pass on their own (I don't mind the itching if they go away by themselves) or will I have to pull them out? Currently I have Neosporin on the area right now, hoping it helps.

fwiw, my ingrown hairs went away by themselves. if they become super huge and swollen then pluck them out. there's a product out there, i think it's called like tend skin or something, that's like a salicylic acid solution that helps with ingrown hairs -- you might also want to exfoliate a bit.

if you're a guy i'd recommend just trimming (scissors or buzzer). girl -> wax

Whenever this happens on my face i have to pull them out with a needle, but for most people using a loofah to exfoliate works fine for removing ingrown hairs.

I take a shower and use my loofah, then my pubic area feels fine.

>Treatments for ingrown hairs include putting a warm washcloth over the ingrown hair, shaving in a different direction, exfoliating with facial scrubs, sponges, towels, or creams containing acids, treatment with Ibuprofen or other NSAIDs, and prophylaxis with twice daily topical application of diluted Glycolic acid.
