Hey /fit/, have any of you ever experimented with performance enhancing, muscle growth drugs before, both legal and illegal?

I've been training for almost a year now and my progress is very slow. I know I'm doing the right type of routines, but it would be good if I could get a little boost to help. I'm also an ectomesomorph, so I need to train twice as hard and eat twice as much food to keep up with others who train who happen to have their genes in their favor.

1. if you've been exercising for a year, keep doing it. you have an unfortunate body build you are not built to be "big and muscular" you are built for endurance. deal with it.

2. you're going to get injured. steroids are for when you have reached your genetic peak. keep doing things for 5 years. muscle strenght growing faster than joint/tendon strenght will cause injury

tl;dr you're not built to be rambo, keep doing shit for years and only then consider juice if you're willing to have heart surgery in your 40's and everything else that follows steroids

theres plenty of good non hormonal things you can take. Of course, in time I bet they too will be found to be dangerous. Maybe someday, in a few years, do it once, for once cycle, and then look in the mirror, say "this is as good as it gets" and walk away satisfied.

get a good whey powder and some plain creating monohydrate. i'm an ecto-morph and i just started juice after more than 5 years of training and significant growth. it can be done you just havent figured out how yet. it's a learning process and it can take a while to figure out what your body responds to and build up the intensity

I took a course of steroids once, although it was one of the weakest kinds you can take (dianabol 10mg tablets, started 2 a day then went up to 4 a day), i noticed not much change, or not worth the amount of change in strength and mass. I got extremely moody, like seriously PMT crazy moody (inb4 hormornal girl), very aggressive, and it makes ur acne flare up like hell, because it causes ur body to realease more testosterone, which causes oily skin therefore acne. Since i stopped using steroids and seriously changed ym diet, i mean like protein and carbs and the right amount of exercise, i feel much better and am noticing big increases at the gym in strength and mass. I wont ever consider goin back onto the gear.

Stay off it and train right, eat well and youll see results

Also, adding to my post, i took them for the same reason you are considering, i wasnt seein results as fast as i wanted. this is a bad idea, if ur not seeing results its down to your diet, not because you need to power up with steroids. If you want to add a bit more mass quickly, you should consider buying some protein, like proteinshake, with added mass gainer, this can give u a good boost if u eat properly while drinking it. This can really boost your confidence when you see results.

When i was starting the steroids i was about 6"2' and weighed about 160 pounds? dunno how much that is in pounds like, since i came off them about 1 month ago maybe a bit more i now the same height lol but i weigh about 175 pounds
