Hey, uh, /fit/?

Okay. When I was benching on Wednesday, I was surprised to see that I could do 170 x 5 three times. However, today, Friday, I tried again, after warming up, and I could barely move the bar up... my right arm could barely keep up.
I had to go down to 165, which is what I tried on Monday.
Is there any reason for this?

I meant Monday. Not that.
Sorry, I fucked up.
Last time I benched was MONDAY, not Wednesday. So it was Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday before I benched again (Rippetoe's).
Also, there was carb cycling... could that be it? Because HIIT absolutely killed me today...

Possibly a breathing issue.

Steady and slow as she goes. It'll come back eventually, don't freak.

HIIT requires more rest but I've had long down times without HIIT due to lifting a little too much. If it felt impressive, good for you, you know you can lift that much, but you might have lifted a little out of your range.

Just keep at it, take it down a notch and work back up again.

Steady and slow.

Thanks for the support.
I'll do that. Next week, I'll start back at 165 and work my way up to 170 again, then.
