You know /fit/, foods are extremely shitty these days.

Microwaveable foods that are based on healthy foods are shitty for you.
Restaurant foods (not just fast food) can be shitty for you since you don't know what kinds of oils and fats(especially trans fats) they're cooking with, and thats not something you ask when your already seated.
They can exlude somethings on the back of food labels, such as 0.5g of trans fat.
EVERYTHING has high fructose corn syrup. FUCK.

Alot of people are tricked into thinking they have a good diet.

I understand the obvious alternative to this is cooking fresh foods at home, but if you use premade shit in your cooking (ex: Some precooked food topping or some shit) or something that needed bad preservatives you can still get horrible toxins in your body.

How do you deal with this /fit/?

It's ridiculous how food marketing completely covers up for shitty food making.

Reading nutrition labels.

Also, not all food preservation is harmful

Just eat whole foods. Stop buying TV dinners and shit. Oatmeal is a whole food - packets of flavoured oatmeal are not. Grilled chicken breasts and steamed vegetables are whole foods - a chicken and veggie TV dinner is not.

Problem solved. Now get off your skinny/fat ass and cook.

You're not going to die from eating it. Jesus.

Congrats. You get to live to 100 instead of 90.

You never got to eat anything good your whole life, but you lived 10 more years in a wheel chair.

You can eat whatever you want as long as you eat smart, you know. If you're that scared of "toxins," then... damn.
