Im 5ft 6 and skinny build. My girlfriend doesnt want me to get much bigger, but i want to tone up and put on a few pounds of muscle, whats the best way to do this?Pic a little bit related

Just do bodyweight stuff and that will prevent you from getting much bigger. I recommend bicycle crunches, varying pushups, squats, and lunges (or hiking), and something for your back. I do supermans but I have a feeling they aren't so great.

>>380194Also to add to this.. since you are skinny I'm going to assume you don't really eat enough to recover quickly from strength training, so your results will be slower. Period. That's good because you won't put on fat as easier as other people (leaving your muscles revealed).

You don't really have to worry. Just work out all your muscle groups with a decently strenuous regime, eat your body-weight in protein and you'll "fill in" nicely without getting bulky.Really, for you skinny-frame-fags it's as hard if not harder for you to get bulky as it is for the fat-fags to get thin. You'd have to work VERY hard and be VERY dedicated to get bulky.
