Hi /fit/.

I'm pretty bad at the fitness/diet thing, so bear with me here. I'd appreciate any advice you can give me on how to improve my current health situation.

When I was in college I was in excellent shape. I weighed 174 pounds (I'm 6'0) and rarely ever got tired from any physical activity. This was due to

playing DDR 3-6 hours per day, every day, for 4 months. This was with a terrible diet, eating hoagies and fried chicken twice a day.

Now I'm around 205 pounds. I don't have the time to devote to that much exercise anymore, but I'd be able to swing 2 hours per day at the most.

My current diet consists of a bagel in the morning (370 cal) with some fake SmartBalance butter spread. Lunch is an apple and a pound of assorted fruit

(canteloupe, watermelon, grapes, strawberries, and pineapple). Dinner is whatever I can scrounge together, usually a tofu hot dog on a wheat tortilla

with spinach, bell peppers, and Grey Poupon. I drink a LOT of water at work, to the point where my urine is clear all day. When I snack, it's on carrots

Word wrap sucks, sorry.

I exercise twice a week. I stretch for 5 minutes, walk for 5 minutes, run a 9:30 mile, walk for 10 minutes, run half a mile, and then walk until I'm exhausted. This usually takes 40 minutes total because I'm out of shape. I have a good pair of running shoes that were fit for my running style. I don't lift any weights.

My goal is to be around 180 pounds again, with the stamina to run 5 miles without stopping.

Any advice you can give me would be appreciated. Citations are particularly helpful because I'm skeptical.
