So /fit/,

I'm pretty damn flabby right now, and I've decided to start exercising. The thing is, I don't want to build up a lot of muscle, I just want to be slim. Someone told me to just do lot of cardio. Is it true, or should I put in some other kind of activity?

build some muscle or you'll just become smaller while retaining flab.

Maybe I should say it this way- I don't want to look like a body-builder. I suppose I'll gain some muscle, but I don't want any of it bulging out.

Do whatever you want, but remember, if you do just cardio and nothing else then your overall athleticism will not improve, you won't look as good, and you won't be strong.

you won't. the women that you see on the covers of muscle mags strength train for hours a day and they load themselves with endless amounts of protein and possibly roids. 30-40 mins of weight lifting won't hurt.

I've met women in sports who actually want to get big and they never get close to disgustingly hueg bodybuilder size.

Well you're an idiot. Those guys put years and years into training and take steroids and sometimes HGH not to mention hundreds of little tricks at and just before showtime, add to that they are genetically inclined to look like that.

if you don't want to, you don't have it in you to get there anyway. it's easier to get strong than it is to get that big.

physique class freak-bitches are on roids. if you're not on roids you'll look like jaime eason. meaning, with some dedication and dietary prudence, you'll get that big tops. and she spends a couple of hours every day maintaining her level of fitness.

so it is both harder and easier than people think.
