Is it healthy? Anonymous
Is it healthy to be as big as Ronnie Coleman? If not what the the medical cons of being this big?
>> Anonymous
No. Your heart wont be able to keep up with your size and you'll die.
>> Anonymous
i don't think it's very natural and sparing for the body.
He surely won't live to be hundred.

you will gas out really quickly.

Alright, what do you think would be the biggest anyone should get and still be healthy. I example of a specific person would be appreciated.

The steroids are an obvious detriment.

You have burned so very brightly, Roy.

any extra weight, be it muscle or fat, is bad for your heart. the benefits of having muscle only outweigh the strain on your heart up to a certain degree, and being that big is WAY past the point of being healthy.

Kinda hard to say. Even if its all muscle, being overweight is bad for you. It puts extreme strain on your heart first of all. your joints probably won't do very well and you'll probably develop some extreme arthritis.

I'm getting a very clear mental here now of Coleman walking up a few flight of stairs, sweating rivers and panting in that funny squeaky voice of his.

this

and the fact that he spends half his time lifting weights

Your bones can only be so strong, so getting to any point beyond some amount of fat or muscle will put strain on your joints and heart. In other words, no it's not healthy to be as large as Ronnie Coleman. Definitely not.

Not only is it terrible for your heart, but also for your liver and kidneys, which filter everything you consume. Guys at his size have to eat 10,000+ calories a day just to MAINTAIN. That is fucking baseline, not even considering what they put away during a bulking phase.

Not to mention that he's on steroids 365 days a year.

Dude's 44 years old, I'm kind of surprised he's made it this far.

I heard Ronnie Coleman also has that genetic disease where you get muscles even if you don't work out, so he takes advantage of that by getting into bodybuilding and he only has to do a fraction of what others have to do to get the same way.

Not only is it unhealthy; it's also disgusting.

I still don't get why marcus ruhl isn't mister olympia.

itt skinny fuckers making excuses.

this kind of shit you are talking about is more applicable to dogs then it is to humans. bad for your heart only comes into play if you are extremely obese, because guess what guys, your heart actually gets stronger through heavy exercise.

god i fucking hate you people.

Professional bodybuilders are basically obese with muscle. All that extra weight, like everyone has already said, can't be good for your heart. Steroids won't help that either, remember how Schwarzenegger had heart problems a few years back?

No. In his DVD you see Coleman doing some impressive walking lunges with heavy weight. If he can do that for reps, I'm sure he can make his way up stairs without trouble, but probably not very quickly. I'd like to see him try and sprint.
