Hey /fit/, quick question.I broke my hand 4 weeks ago, got the cast off last week. Joints were stiff but now I can make a fist properly without any pain. My doctor said I can't lift more than 1-2 pounds with this hand and I have to baby it. My question is, should I continue to lift, with my other hand, doing the the exercises I can manage with a dumbbell (curls, kickbacks, etc)? Any drawsback to this, or is it a good way to ensure I am not losing any lean tissue? I bike an 45 mins to an hour on a stationary everyday. Thanks!Pic not related, but I know the guy.
I guess no one is awake yet :p
bump
You will create an imbalance, but if you're OK dealing with that later then go right ahead. If it was me I would take a break, and focus on the recovery of the other hand, but you don't REALLY need to stop.
>>369859Well I'm not lifting super heavy. I do like 25lb curls, I'll lower it to 15-20. I'm looking just to maintain lean tissue.
No. You'll still have the imbalance. Your broken arm is already so weak from it not being used. Just work on your legs and abs and when you can lift again, lift.
damn what does fat ass weigh? about 450-500!?!?!maybe you should suggest a girdle.sorry no help on your question brah.
