Fast Weight Loss Anonymous
I'm attempting to lose 72 pounds, I would like to lose it within 2 months. However due to my laziness, I lack the musculature to maintain any form of regular exercise at the start. I'm building myself up and hope to at minimum reach a burn of 1000 calories a day if not more. So I realize yes it will probably take longer than that.

I've been thinking about the amount of food I would have to cut, I have cut it down to 347 calories which 800 calories is considered extremely low cal diet. The diet consists of 2 cans of tuna with relish, and one main meal one regular no skin chicken breast (1lb) and one sweet potato.

What can I expect here? Quick fat loss, or disaster?

Well I'm thinking treadmill or various other exercise equal around 600 calories per hour, "regular" low cal diet is over that (800). So what alternative is there?

I could amp up the workout but I don't think I could maintain 2-3 hours. Which two hours would net me 1200 calorie burned.

if you cut down that much, your metabolism will effectively shut down.

in fact, i suggest you binge for one day a week and don't eat the other 6 days. i'm 100% certain this will work out great for you.

if you cut the cal intake to that right away and you do at least 1 hr of cardio a day, you will actually see quick weight loss in the beginning. Problem is, you will eventually plateau so you have to up the exercise eventually. ALSO if you eat that everyday you will get sick of it and most likely binge. so diversify your diet.
Also dont dive 100% into the fitness mode where all you think about is fitness and dieting, find something to do to take your mind off of it. Over eating is sometimes caused by boredom. remember pace yourself and give yourself a little more time than 2 months ... say 4.

I recently lost 25 pounds, im about halfway to my goal. My biggest problem wasn't being hungry (that goes away after a few days of not eating much) but it was with keeping up the exercise, because it was too boring. I recently decided to play basketball everyday down at a local court. Its fun and intense, also social.

WTF!? Healthy weight loss is a couple of pounds of fat a week. 5 lbs a week would be pushing it, and that's only 40 in 2 months.

That's retarded. 1000 calories is considered extremely low. Hell, I consider 1500 low. At 347 a day your body is going to burn muscle as well as fat and your metabolism is going to plummet. You won't have any energy, but that'll be the least of your problems.

do NOT starve yourself and exercise, Feed your muscle and burn your fat. It takes time but it's the sm.. fuck, it's the only way to get optimal results without any sort of failure.

And also, don't kid yourself in saying "I lack the musculature to do this and that" because you're only kidding yourself. If you really want something, you'll do anything to get it, even if that means maintaining a regular form of exercise.

800 calories a day is not enough to build muscle, and when your body's starvation response kicks in, you're fucked.

Your diet plan is beyond awful.

My advice to you:

Try to get around 1500 calories (NO LESS THAN 1000 OR I'LL PUNCH YOU).

Keep your fat grams low. Sat, trans, mono unsaturated should be very low.

Get about 1 g protein per 2 pounds of your body weight. Not necessary, but will help build muscle, muscle burns calories. Light weight lifting will also help this.

Walk or jog for 30-60 minutes at least 3 times a week, more days a week would be better.

Drink lots of water. Take vitamins.

Eat a lot of fruits and veggies, they're healthy, low cal, and filling.

Cook more at home, it's healthier and cheaper than eating out.

The fastest (but not the safest) way to lose weight, of course, is to lie in your bed with a huge jug of water and nothing else for about 4-5 days. Aside from going to the toilet and bathing yourself (remember to use lukewarm water, hot water will make you faint), you should never move about too much, because it will actually make you collapse. As you lie in bed, you will sleep more often, and that will curb your appetite.

If this is a realpost, you'll last a week on your "diet" then go back to gorging burgers while your metabolism is shot from all the fucked up cutting. It's seriously not hard to watch what you eat and just avoid processed/fatty foods and do 30-45/mins of cardio atleat 3 times aweek.
