Whey Protein & Fiber Supplements? Anonymous
Hey /fit/. I take whey protein on days I lift, usually one before and one after. Sometimes I'll take one at night before bed on days I don't lift. Unfortunately whey sometimes has a constipating effect on me if I take too much. I'm curious if taking a fiber supplement at the same time is a problem? For instance, I'll mix in some metamucil into the shake. I only ask because I heard you should take fiber at the same time as vitamin supplements because it'll block the uptake of certain parts.

Also, what is the best whey protein? Currently I'm taking Life Extensions Whey.

yea whey will clog your ass up if you take a lot of it. I use six star and it isn't as bad as the others I've used. I still get the massive shits, but not as much as before. If you're worried about taking fiber with the supplements just start eating a ton of natural fiber like vegetables.
