anyways op: ditch the machines, go for squatz / deadlifts / benchpress / incline dumbell press / overhead barbell press / dumbell rows etc etc
ask a trainer how to do them, doesnt matter if you start light, if you do it right you will feel it. 3-4 sets of 8-10 reps with increasing weight, slow down fast up.
Do this for a week and you're hooked, you will dread your resting days.
Also, eat like a fucking whale and get enough sleep (8-9 hours)
