Learn how to move. Do this before doing anything else. Practice moving around for at least 20 hours.
Get in a ring, hold your guard, and move back and forth, laterally, and practice quickly switching guards. When you've finished that, quit boxing and move into something more respectable like muay thai.
Also, jump rope a lot and improve your cardiovascular health as much as possible so you don't tire out after throwing six punches.
