when i first started i used to put a pillow on my chest then if i failed on a rep i could leave it on my chest and push it off to the floor, it used to hurt a bit but once i went up in weight i cudnt be doing that shit no more. i found some fucking steel girders or watever like this kids using in the video to catch if i failed

I work out at home alone. Don't have one of those fancy things to put the bar in either, so I just have to lift it up, somehow lie down on the bench and put it in position. It's a small workout in itself to do that and I guess I can't go to my limit like in other ways.

All in all I like it more like this and that way I also learned from the start to know my limits and all that.

If you insist on working out at home just buy a cheap asd Bench Press Bench. You can find old used ones for almost nothing.
