I usually eat mine with a thin layer of sugar on top, and some milk. But my dad always eat this so I have grown up with it and learnt to like it.

You can try just eating it raw as well, using sugar and milk, works just as fine if you ask me.

honey is one of the best sweeteners to use. Maple syrup is better since it is also natural, sweetens with less AND contains many mineral and micro nutrients others do not have. next would be brown sugar. worse would be any processed sugar (white stuff like cocaine) or artificial sweeteners (enjoy your cancer)

as well a banana chopped up in it makes it much nicer, plus you get lots of potassium. I also like some cinnamon, nutmeg and even a pinch of cocoa (unsweetened).

lastly do you make it with water or milk? if water try with milk,,,,, so much better IMO om nom nom nom

here is my recipe
1/3 cup quick oats
1 cup milk (like my oats thinner)
pinch each nutmeg, cinnamon and cocoa
microwave 3:20 minutes.
add 2 tsp maple and stir.
add one banana chopped and 1/4 cup chopped walnuts.
stir and om nom nom nom

Your taste buds are just used to hyper taste of crap food, I am guessing.

I personally make it normal, then when it is about 2 minutes to done, I toss in some diced sour apple pieces (granny smith style). That 2 minutes softens the apples and the taste leeches out into the oats.

Sometimes I will put a little sugar on it.

Remember, this is healthy and will be something you find tasty soon if you do not now. It will help you have great bowel movements. It will make your life amazing.

I eat my OATZ raw, no cooking. Just add a slash of milk, nuts, honey, raisins, stuff like that and mix it up a little. It's like cereal or muesli that way. I never liked the taste or texture of oatmeal, it's so.. sticky and weird, like thick glue. Also, try putting oats & whey in your shaker and just have it like that. No taste = no bad taste.

i fucking love oatz

breakfast: put your serving of unprepared oatz in a tupperware container. pour in enough milk to cover. add a couple spoonfuls of brown sugar (it doesn't take much, just enough to sweeten it). mix it all up, and leave the covered tupperware container in the fridge overnight. in the morning, cut up a banana into it and eat.

any other time: put one scoop of chocolate ice cream and a shitload of oats (4-5 ounces) in a blender. pour in enough milk to cover, and blend. more milk for a thinner drink, less milk for a thicker milkshake. it tastes like a chocolate milkshake but with delicious oaty texture and flavor. you can also throw in a scoop of protein powder if you're so inclined. i'm going to go make one of these right now. fuck yeah.
