/fit/, why am I not dead yet?

I've eaten 1070 calories but burned 583 (net: 487), and this is true for almost every weekday for a few months now or so. On the weekends I eat closer to 1500 calories.

I'm male, weigh ~66 kg and am 175 cm tall

same question, for my height (6'3") weight (190) and activity level (seated work with some movement) most online resources indicate that my body is burning about 2000 calories per day just for living.

i burn about 500 in cardio 5 days a week. i usually eat about 1500 calories in a day. with this regiment i basically stay the same weight. someone explain to me the deficit - am i hurting my body? i don't feel bad, but don't understand the discrepency

A one-hundred and ninety pound man eating 1500 calories is fucking ridiculous. At minimum you should be taking 1900 calories.

Start eating six meals a day to get your metabolism going, start weight-training, and stop doing so much cardio, you're catabolizing your muscle.

At my largest I was 220, I starved myself down to 160, then hit a wall.

Just be prepared to be skinny-fat, you'll feel better because you aren't a fatass, but you're going to gain fat back once you start eating normal.

Weight-training when losing weight is recommended, since it'll slightly help in retaining the muscle that you are catabolizing through a lack of calorie intake, and it also raises your metabolism.
