Loose skin after extreme weight loss Anonymous
So im in a month and 2 weeks in on my diet and exercise. Im 19 years young and 5"7. So far my plan is to lose 10 pounds a month, so far so good, i am now around 240lbs and started at 258lbs. I am only doing cardio at the moment and dont plan to weight train until i hit 200lbs or so. I am worried about the loose skin I will inevitably have after losing these 100lbs.

Is there anything I can do to minimize loose skin while loosing the weight? Any tips on how to help this during or after weight loss will help me much. Thanks

be a man and fill it with RAW MUSCULE MASS

Wear some underarmor under your workout clothes.

Also, loose skin will tighten on its own after awhile. You should see pregnant women. The human body is amazingly elastic.

this is true. It'll happen eventually. You just have to be patient with it as your body needs time to adjust.

Yeah you skin will adjust itself to the fat loss over time.

Oh btw, sometimes you may lose fat faster than the skin can adjust so it may look like you not making any gains but give it time and it'll tighten up.

Utter nonsens.
I lost my weight, and had kept it of for FOUR fucking years and it looked exactly as it did four years ago.
Needles to say, I have now had the surgery.

Umm, suggestion, do at least light weight training otherwise your not going to lose the weight as fast as you would hope.

You don't have to do balls to the walls, but as anyone here can tell you Cardio slows down your metabolism, Weight lifting accelerates it.
If you start doing Cardio, you will lose weight, but if you weight train and do cardio it will accelerate it a lot as far as the weight loss goes.
It also lets you have awesome muscles.

Truth. Fill it out with muscule. Some of your skin will go back, especially since you're young, but not all the way (especially if OP pic is you). Muscle will help fill out saggy skin, to varying degrees of success. Also, be sure and use lotion. Not a cure all by any means, but it will help keep your skin moisturized and healthier.
