So I just joined a local gym, and started a 5x5 program which has deadlifts as part of the routine.

Problem is there isn't any fucking space to put the oly bar down in order to do my deadlifts so I figured I'd use the smith machine, felt a bit awkward but I actually managed 365lbs!

Is this win?

There is no power rack, just the bench press station that uses oly bars, everything is pretty cramped.

There is a policy against displacing things anyways.

Guess what? Time to fucking grow a pair. Move the bench to the side and do your deadlifts then move it back when your done. Nobody wants to approach a person lifting 300+ lbs of weight anyways, so you're not likely to get in trouble.

the fucking cuntrag didn't 300+ on a SMITH MACHINE... My grandma could probably do the same.

Holy Fuck. I've never used a smith machine so i don't know how much 365 lbs equates to in an actual barbell.

Me either, guess you aren't a faggot.
Personally I quiver when I do deadlifts because all my stabilizers are active, keeping form perfect is a hell of a task.
Oh a smith machine that is taken out of the equation.

365 on a smith is like 200 on a bar

How could you possibly do a deadlift on a smith machine?
