When should i switch to a higher weight for dumbbells, im currently useing 20lb, and which weight should i move up to?
>> Anonymous
well that would depend on what youre using the dumbbells for
>> Taskbar and Start Menu Properties
when you can do more than 10 reps of said weight.
>> Anonymous

Y/N?

If Y Go up else Keep the same weight;

why don't you buy dumbbells with adjustable weight/handle, or buy second hand weight set
>> Anonymous
Adjustable dumbbells with 25kg on each.. Should hold for quite some time plus it makes doing forced negatives possible
>> Anonymous
>>246627

Increase the reps then?

If you can lift 3 x 10, you're lifting too light. Raise the weight.

Also, get a barbell for some real exercises.

1. What exercise are you doing
2. What tempo are you using

Both crucial questions here

Hey this is OP i cant even remember calling that dude a newfag, i was on coke then i went out to rage IRL with some friends. but ive been doing 6-7 sets of 10 reps with my 20lb. dumbells, and the 20lb's are the ones i started out with, when i first bought them i struggled to do 10 at all. Which weight should i go after now? i spend most of my cash on other shit so i cant buy anything expensive, just another set of dumbbells.
>> Anonymous
OP here... and the excersizes are just 3 sets of 10 for shoulder press, and the 6-7 sets of 10 are for bicep curls
>> Anonymous
OP here again, sorry mangs, forgot to mention that i do some calf raises with them, but not too often, and when i do its just like 50 reps w/o stopping (rarely work out legs, they're naturally pretty strong)

weight is cheap. be creative.
>> Anonymous
go fucking die, you dumb fucker
>> Anonymous
If you are really that cheap, buy some rice bags or buy these 7L water bottles and fill them with sand, or fill your backpack with heavy shit and start lifting that
>> Anonymous
>>248096
hahaha
>> Anonymous
I can do 8 reps first set, second set is like 5 rep max.

Is this wrong? Should i lower the weight?
