maybe just use incredibly light weights at first just to practice good balance.

You HAVE TO lean forward, it's not like you're going to be able to sit on some magical invisible chair. The important thing though is to lean forward but WITH A STRAIGHT BACK. Straight back does not equal vertical.

Also stretch your hip flexors and adductors.
