Motivate yourself by taking a notebook and pencil to the gym and make a record of how many sets/reps you're doing of each exercise, and at what weight, if it's a free-weight or machine exercise. Bring an iPod to listen to, or some radio chat show. Have some small treat set aside for yourself which you're only allowed if you do the full 45 minutes (a protein bar or shake, your Gameboy, a magazine, whatever floats your boat).
The time will fly, man.
