Hay /fit/
Here's what I eat every day, please tell me if you see any problems with it, such as vitamin deficiencies or whatnot:
2 apples, 2 bananas, 1 orange, 4-5 medium strawberries, 4 raw carrots, 2 celery stalks, 2 handfuls raw spinach, 1.5 cups steamed broccoli, .5 cups steamed cauliflower, 1 cup white rice, 1 cup yogurt, half a cooked chicken breast, 1 cup raw cashews. And I drink approximately 4.5 liters of water a day.

I've been eating like this for about 7 months and walking about 15 miles a week to and from classes, and I've lost about 30 pounds. My weight loss has slowed considerably the past 2 months, so I started a crude workout regimen (push-ups, crunches, etc.) hoping it would help but I haven't noticed much of a difference yet. Any pointers in either area (diet/exercise)? Thanks a bunch.

you'll probably need to exercise more. start running.

Weird diet.

Also too many fruits, you don't need them everyday.
Do you eat breakfast everyday? consume solid carbs in the morning and it should be your heaviest meal.

Cereal and eggs, preferably Oatmeal and egg whites.

Cashews are load of calories and fats. even though they are food fats it still not recommended everyday.

Yeah, an apple and a banana for breakfast. I'm also a poor college student, so I get by on $5 a day with this diet. Hell of a lot better than most college students (ramen and hot pockets) I would think...

bullocks to your bullocks... oh wait, that would be gay... still, fruits are mainly sugar (good sugar mind you) and out to be consumed less frequently. I say replace all but one fruit with a starchy or fibrous vegetable and the pounds will start shedding again... also, where the fuck is all the protein???

chicken breast, cashews, yogurt
not enough? I'm not going for bulk here...

What i said is more economical then most of those things that do almost nothing.

i'm talking about stuff like carrots or strawberries everyday.

1 kg Bag of Oatmeal is like 3 bucks. go to a bulk store and get it even cheaper. Will last you weeks and healthy carbs that don't make you fat or hungry after an hour.
Something with Eggs cheapest source or protein right now. milk is skyrocketing.

You still need protein to maintain. Eat 1g per pound of lean body mass, and get some every 3 hours.

You weigh less so you need less calories than you did before and your body gets less of a workout too. I have no idea how many cal that diet gives.

Do some more exercise like jogging or skipping and make sure you do some HIIT

bullshit more like 1g per kg of lean body mass

Well if you're not a weightlifter or performance athlete then 1g per lbs/Kg thing doesn't apply, pushups don't count.
