Hi /fit/, looking for some HIIT advice here [I tried google, but I couldn't find any specifics.]I'm not incredibly muscular [kinda thin], but I am in somewhat good cardiovascular shape. I've always had some clinging extra fat around the stomach/back/arms. It's not horrible, but I'd look/feel a lot better if I got rid of it.So, I do about 45 minutes to an hour of cardio on a bike like this everyday, but I'm not quite getting the results I want. I'd like to continue doing that, but maybe adding some HIIT at night on the same machine, I'm willing to add anywhere from 30 minutes to another hour if that is what it takes, but I'd like to know how I should handle the intervals.thanks /fit/
>>HIIT>>stationary bikehahahaha
Anon, I'm pretty sure a stationary bike doesn't quite allow you to exhaust yourself as much during the intense part of HIIT.=/
Can you change the resistance on your bike? If you can do it, try 20 minutes with 1 minutes intervals/ rest at 80 RPM without resistance and then go up for a minute to at least 120 RPM with high resistance. Then, repeat.
