What works for me. Anonymous
Well, there's a lot of threads where people ask what to do to lose weight, so I thought I'd make a thread on what I've been doing to lose it.

I started out in September and I weighed 224 and I am about 5'11''-6', Male. I am currently 199 pounds.

What I did was totally stopped all soda and unhealthy foods. I eat mostly the same stuff everyday. My breakfast is either a single yogurt, or an open face turkey sandwich (Just turkey, nothing else). Lunch I have is usually grilled chicken and brown rice with fresh squeezed lemon juice. At night I work at a restaurant, but I have a salad with either salmon, grilled chicken, or grilled shrimp.

The only things I drink are water, propel fit water, or apple juice.

I occasionally eat out with friends who like fast food, particularly Taco bell, so if we go there I have one thing, and its either a chicken quesadilla, or a volcano taco. Only one.

I don't drink coffee, alcohol, or do any drugs. I sometimes do two mile walks with some jogging, and occasionally do some push ups and stuff.

Well, I know its not the best information, but its what works for me. I'm still not where I want to be; my goal is 180, but I am down a few pants sizes and my tight clothes are now loose, which makes me feel a bit better about myself.

Cool story bro
25 pounds in 6 weeks. Not too shabby.
>no milk?
Why would he drink milk. He's trying to lose weight, not build muscle. Milk is a high calorie drink

you could probably afford to cut out apple juice, a 12oz glass is 150 calories. But since you seem to be doing alright I wouldn't worry about it

Cool story bro keep at it

Way to go OP. Now that you're starting to get ahead of the game, don't start eating shit, stay strong until you reach your goal.

I failed my first diet that way, and it's the easiet way to fail. I decided when I started, to make something that would denote when I quit my diet, so I would avoid doing it. For me it is "drink a big gulp of mountain dew", which before my diet, I'd have almost every day, sometimes more than once. If I do that, I know that I failed.

Yeah, another person told me to do this too, and like, I know it'd be cool to have, and I'd like to have them, but I just am not doing it. Its kinda embarrassing, I think. Also, I'm bad at taking pictures of myself.

Yeah, I just want to have some variety. That reminds me, whenever I absolutely NEED a snack, it is nearly always just an apple. One apple usually satisfies me until my next meal.

they make a good Zero Calorie Mountain Dew, its pretty easy to find in 2 liter bottles, but is pretty damn hard to find in cans where I live (SF Bay Area) about the only place ive found that sells it in cans regularly is at K-Mart.
