Sup mis/fits/. I, Anonymous, another fitness nub, come with a question.Yesterday I did a full fucking workout - everything. Abs, legs (yes, squatz), arms, back. The day after I know you're supposed to recover. Well the question comes now.I hear you shouldn't do weightlifting and cardio in the same way, something about them canceling each other out or some shit, and that's cool. Question is, the day AFTER you workout (rest period) would it be awwwwwright to do cardio (swim, in particular)?Additional info: 16 yr old male (underage b&), 511, 148 lbs.
Yes, swim. Not only is it a good carido/muscle builder, but it will make your muscles recover faster and reduce soreness.
>>142999Thanks. I just hope you're not trolling.
If you can't do cardio the day of or the day after weight lifting, then when COULD you do it?I personally think same day cardio is fine, but that's because I've never seen or heard mention of the ill effects of it except on this board.
Use a monofin while swimming for a hardcore workout.
I've never heard of this no cardio and lifting on the same day shit. I've been running after workouts for like a year..
