/fit/ i need advice

I am a moderately small/thin dude. I have school in one week and have started my 2nd day of bulking. Yesturday I lifted big and had a real good workout, today was a rest day and I have been eating a lot to repair my muscles (3000-4000 calories of mostly protein).
I just ate a massive dinner and I'm feeling very full, and feel that although my muscles are being restored a lot of energy is being converted to fat.
This is my first time really bulking so my immediate response is to go out and do some HIIT or cardio, I fear however that this will damage my muscle gains in time for school, yet on the other hand I don't want to become a fatass in a week.
Should I go out and do cardio or take tonight as a rest day and prepare for another really good workout tommorow?
What is your take on cardio on resting days when bulking?
