Hapkido - yes
Judo - not sure

Either way, make sure you spar a lot.

DO both, OP. Both are very good. Judo is especially fun.

Judo is ultimate. Take Judo. Srsly.

Hapkido is iffy. It's like a less commercialized version of Taekwondo. It can work well, but only if you find a really good school that does a lot of sparring, pad work, conditioning, ect.

I agree, you can't go wrong with Judo either way. The sport version is awesome, and the rarer fighting version if you find it is supposedly very kick ass as well.

Depends where you take the Hapkido. My old instructor in high school was an old ROK Marine hardass that served in Vietnam, and he taught an absolutely brutal combat style. In college now, my instructors teach a more mainstream, softer style focused on wristlocks. Its more actually a kind of aikido than the style I learned in high school.

Take Judo if you're into flipping someone over your shoulder and snapping their fucking arm off.
