I'm not "FAT", but am overweight enough to be embarrassed taking off my shirt. 2 inches thick of belly fat, and some A-cup moobs.

1) Has anyone here ever been like me and bounced back to the world of the fit and pretty? What did you do?

2) If I wanted to go practically anorexic (practically zero calories and let my body eat it's own fat) what do I need to take along the lines of vitamins to supplement my fat calories?

answer either one.

All number two will do is slow down your metabolism and make you retain everything you do eat, however little. Also; diet pills. Get the ones without caffeine, otherwise you risk getting addicted.

They work, yeah. Read the ingredients. It's a long and boring list, full of complicated words with too many X's, Y's and Z's, but if it's got caffeine or anything else addictive, I strongly advise you to find a different brand.

you just get them at a retailer? have you used them? what did you use/was it expensive/how invasive was the process? You need an excercise routine to go with right? what do you eat? what do you do for exercise? (I hate running, but i guess I can...)

That's not how starving works. You'll eat your muscles first.

Yeah that caffeine is some serious shit. I started off at a party and my friend said "hey man, you wanna do some caffeine?". I gave into peer pressure and thats where it all started. It was a social thing, and we were all having a great laugh doing caffeine at parties and clubs, it was like we were invincible, but my world started to fall apart as my addiction spiraled out of control. I'd stop caring about my appearance and became hostile to my friends and family. I started stealing from people to make more money to buy caffeine, even from my own mother. I got to the point once where i was melting it on a spoon and shooting up on it. I really need a hit of caffeine so badly right now, but i've been clean for 2 years and i have a long road ahead of me.

If this guy's gonna be starving himself, the caffeine will be more concentrated in his blood. Also, diet pills have a lot more caffeine than coffee or tea. It's how they work.

Also, go watch Requiem for a Dream. Old lady gets addicted to diet pills. That's what it's actually like.

you don't have to be go all sardonic on him man. Caffeine is more addictive than lost of drugs out there, just less harmful as well.

PD: Cannabis is neither. XD

do this
diet pills are bad for the body
they are "addictive" in another way
once you start you still have to change your eating habits or else once you get back down to your goal weight you stop the pills
then you are still eating the way you did before
the pounds start packin' on
back on the pills
and that's how they get you

always do at least 20 minutes of cardio before lifting

this way you'll always do cardio, and you'll warm your muscles up for better lifting results. also, stretch often.

don't do more that 10 before lifting. do at least 20 min AFTER lifting. Lifting should get fist dibs on the good energy so you can build muscles. cardio is for fat burning or second-class energy. if you do your cardio first, it will take all the good energy and give your muscles shit.

Sorry, lost the thread, then got distracted. $25 for a bottle of...however many. 30-50, depending on the variety. There's no more information you can get, just go out and take a look at them, then look up ingredients and the brand on wikipedia. Be sure to look at side effects, there will be side effects. There's no harm in looking, and no one will judge you.

My bad.

I used to be semi-fatty too, but turned it around to the point where im "that fitness guy" at work.

It took a year to get to slim, and another 2 years to get to fit.

I lost weight by taking the advice of my doctor, which was to stay only in the perimeter of the supermarket. Anything that came in a box was off limits (with the exception of whole wheat pasta)

It wasnt as bad as it seems. I spent a lot more time in the kitchen, yeah, but in the end it really benefited me. In addition to losing weight, I now have flawless skin which even my girlfriend is jealous of.

I'm going to assume you're just being a dumbfuck and not a troll when you made the second assertion...

but as for your first point:

I was a fatass all throughout high school, 5'7" and around 220lbs. It took about 5 years, a long progression, but I started with a program of weight loss through calorie restriction (1800-2000) and aerobic activity (for me, running the battlefields of gettysburg 5 days a week). Supplementing at this point with lighter weight, higher rep lifting is useful for maintaining some muscle strength. Once you've reached a goal weight, you would be better served tapering aerobics to around 3 days a week, with 3-4 days lifting with higher weight, low rep mass building exercises.

I won't go into my whole ordeal now, but I can elaborate if you want more info.
