can i still lose weight/fat and be able to increase strength or do i have to eat allot moar if i want to get allot stronger?

currently eating about 2500cals a day

Yeah ive tidied up my diet, would starting strength be that good for me tho? seeing as im not new to weightlifting, iv been doing it a year and a half.
Would it be a step backwards, or would it help me get moar strength and bone density etc (the focus isnt on hypertrophy)

Do one or the other. I was all worried about losing weight and building muscle at the same time. Fuck that.

I'm eating healthily with plenty of calories and working the shit out of my muscles. I may not be losing fat but I'll worry about that when I've got muscle.

Also the muscle will help you lose that fat, so don't worry about it.

Do the two week method. 2 weeks 4 sets of 8, 2 weeks four sets of 6, 2 weeks four sets of 4, 2 weeks four sets of 2, one week 4 sets of one.

Eat the same amount of calories as you normally would but make sure they're calories you need
