Fix me /fit/. I seriously dont know why the hell I exercise if i dont even eat right. I usually jog for 30 minutes everyday. lift a few easy weights. Ab workouts and i guess thats it. Its pity but it's really easy for me. I have been doing this for about 2 months now. I eat whatever I want but watch on the soda and snacks. I havent gained any weight, but i have lost around 8 pounds from it. Give me some foods that I shouldnt eat and maybe a good diet and some exercises

it's still better than not eating right and not exercising

What kind of equipment do you have access to?

8lb in 2 months is pathetic. Maybe instead of eating whatever you want you could try learning how your body works and eat accordingly.

wrong.
1 lbs per week fatloss is excellent.
You avoid starvation mode that way, the slower you lose weight the better.
Maximum recommended is 2 lbs per week.
Just keep going OP, slow and steady.

Starvation mode does not happen overnight nor does it happen when the body has sufficient stores to be burning. Your metabolism will slow down yes, but not the point where fat stops being burnt. Fat people will burn a much larger proportion of fat/muscle than say someone who is already lean at i.e. 10%BF. You can lose 2lb, if not 3 safely a week providing you eat right, get enough nutrition and exercise regularly. Because you will be losing weight, your BMR will start reducing which then slows your weight loss down to around 2lb a week assuming you do not lower your calorie intake to compensate, which you shouldn't in the first place. On average i lose 2-2.5lb a week, i am losing fat and gaining a small amount of muscle which is good to see for progress.

There is so much hysteria over muscle loss and loose skin it is turning /fit/ into a general shithole for information.

yeah? your point being, cause that's what I wrote, 2lb per week maximum?

My point is in 2 months, 8lb total loss is extremely low and the slower you lose it is not necessarily better. If the OP wasn't dicking around and was losing 2lb a week, that would be 16lb without taking into account water weight). I'm sure i am not the only one who would rather cut the time it takes to lose weight in half rather than pissing around in a comfrot zone for a long time and most likely give up due to lack of results.
