Perfect Pushup. I bought it, laugh all you want.I didn't have much time to do full upper body workout the last couple months, and I didn't want to quit working out alltogether, so I bought this, $40, and did the recommended routine that came in the box.I gained a noticeable amount of muscle in my pecs/shoulders. I was fairly surprised as I was just doing this to keep fit until I could start my regular workout routine again. This got me thinking: How comparable is such a basic pushup routine to a full out upper body weight lifting routine?Am I seeing gains because I just changed up my workout so drastically? Or was I doing something wrong with my weight training before?I've been eating healthy, 6 meals a day, protein supplements, 2500 calories/day, BCAAs, vitamins etc, no fatty/sugary foods, etc. Nothing in my diet has really changed.I'm wondering now if I should go back to a full weight routine when I'm seeing such positive results with such an easy workout : /Any thoughts?Comment too long. Try variations such as incline, decline, t pushup, stagger your arms or just push halfway down and hold that position as long as you can.
