Hey /fit/. I dunno if this is the right board to ask this on so sorry if it is. But I woke up just before and had some spasms in my shoulder, afterwards I could not move it. I then lay there for a bit and heard something click in my shoulder.

I can now very slowly move my shoulder, however I am not sure it is popped in properly.

TL;DR: How do I make sure my shoulder is popped back in properly? and how do I pop it back in properly?

If it's popped out, you'll know. Because it'll hurt like a bitch. I dislocated mine this summer.

You might've subluxated it - maybe you were laying in a weird position that put some stress on your shoulder in a weird way. This can cause the shoulder to pull part of the way out of the socket, but then settle back in a little bit after. I've done that, too.

For now, even if it's tempting to try it out, don't raise your upper arm above shoulder level for at least a day or two. You could easily subluxate it again. I've done that, too.
