how the fuck do I get rid of acne? I RARELY get whiteheads and never get blackheads, I just have redness and tiny bumps with pus in them all over my chin, jawline and neck
I think lot of it is from shaving irritation (I use like a gillete comfort 5 blade and Nivea Men for Sensitive Skin shaving gel + moisturizer

I've been on Minocycline Hcl for 2-3 months, and it got rid of the whiteheads, but I'm still not happy.
I wash my face twice a day. I never touch my face
I never drink sodas or juice, but I do eat a lot of sugars, which I'm trying to cut back on (I'm skinny, also)
I get 2 hours of intense activity a day + a fair amount of sun. I wear sunblock

HOW DO I GET RID OF ACNE AND RED SPOTS FOR GOOD???

pic related, it's me

washing 2 times a day might be too much. make sure to moisturize w/ something non comedogenic, and obviously, make sure your sunblock isn't either. also, use warm water to shave, not cold as it can induce ingrown hairs.

just to clarify, you know that overdrying your face causing more oil to be produced in order to compensate, right?

in your case I think that 10% benzoyl peroxide will cure it. trust me I had acne (I guess mild to medium). that shit completely destroyed it, my face is spotless.

it causes dryness and flaking on some people, but better than having acne.

I use clean and clear 10%. it works for me. its 5 bucks and lasts me about 3-4 months.

OP here

my skin is naturally oily as fuck
I do need to change my moisturizer and sunblock I think. Recommendations?
and I wash my face using warm water, and then shave.

If it matters, I use Clearasil Deep Cleansing for Sensitive Skin as my facewash. Switch to Cetaphil?

This looks like razor bumps to me, not acne.
I have the same problem.
Use a single bladed razor... and don't shave everyday if possible.

Start drinking a shit load of water. I'm talking a couple bottles a day.

Best 150$ I ever spent on acne treatment. This is comming from someone who went through Acutane which still didn't cure it all for me. Give it a look, and try it out. Money back guarantee i think. I love this thing

this

I had mild acne. I started washing my face and using benzoyl peroxide three times a day, and now I have none.

Also, what are you washing your face with? Are you using face wash that is specifically geared towards fighting acne?

Pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5)
No white flour/sugar/processed dairy (pretty much all of it)
Just water.
NO HYDROGENATED FATS/OILS
Plenty of sleep.

If you see really good results, can cheat a little with some of the stuff, but should want to stay away from hydrogenated stuff by default.

Use an electric razor. Avoid all caffeine. Zits will disappear in about 2 weeks.

I have similar acne to OP, except more red bumps and I get several white heads pretty much every day.

I've used benzoyl peroxide 10% for like two years. At first it worked pretty well, now it doesn't affect it even slightly. My current routine is a mild face wash, toner, BP10% at night, or salicylic acid in the morning, then moisturizer. I do the salicylic acid three times during the day. It's the only thing now that seems to reduce it slightly.

Gave up milk a couple months ago. I used to drink tons and tons of it. But unfortunately there hasn't been a bit of difference.

(contd)
Also recently I tried this thing on heard about on these boards involving vinegar and witch hazel. That just made it worse.

I'll finally go to a dermatologist next week. I've gone to my regular doc a few times about it, but all he does is prescribe me tetracycline, which I refuse to take.

Don't drink caffeine.
Don't eat greasy food.
Wash your face with high quality face wash.
(Shit's like 10$ for a small bottle but works)
Shave regularly.
Stop being a teenager.
