Sup /fit/.I used to work out a couple of years ago, for about a year (lots of cardio, push-ups and sit-ups), and I'm thinking of getting into it again. However, even though I did like 3 sets of push-ups (to the point where I couldn't do even one more for each set) every day for 5 days a week, I never actually upped my maximum number of reps.Any tips?
lol you're never gonna get results if you do the same exercise back to back for 5 straight days. i can do 100 pushups without stopping and i have gone 3 days in between before working out my chest at times. usually 1 day of rest is good enough though try that.
>>312912Actually, I think I did 5 sets until I couldn't do any more reps every set, not 3.
OP'S PIC IS DOIN IT WRONG!
>>312919But it would be natural that I could at least up the number of maximum reps within a set from the first time I tried, right? My maximum rep count didn't change from the first time I did it to the last time I did it.
When I eat right, I usually can increase my # of reps every few weeks. If I eat just enough, my reps don't increase. So you might need more time, and you might need to eat more.
