Hey /fit/

Right now im 274 pounds and Im wanting to get down to 250. im mostly eating two meals a day, and beginning to cut back on my snacks and sugar and sodas and shit. but I was wondering. usually on my off days I swim for about a hour or for a mile, doing various swimming techniques, backstroke, butterfly, etc. to work on my muscles.. and thats usually about 2 times a day, with that. I tend to walk/jog also a mile to swim back down the creek again, is that a decent workout? plus ive been thinking about buying a dumbell, to begin doing curls. and, whats a decent way to do situps or pushups in a room where you dont have much space, is a bed good for situps? thanks anon.
