Why don't you try it? It's not going to make you fatter

I guess that's true. I'm just worried that it is going to be way beyond my fitness level to even begin to attempt. they have power 90 too, but I think it would be a waste to purchase a bunch of dvd's and stuff to use for only 12 weeks, and then spend more on Power 90X.

tl;dr whiny fatass complaining about money

I don't know about the program.

If you're not fit at all, you should walk hard for an hour every day, and when that becomes easy, you should start jogging and maybe swimming.

walking is no problem, i could see jogging or swimming being tougher, but then why shouldn't I P90X?

does anyone know the program? plox halp

I know the program well. It works, but you better be serious about change if you are thinking about doing it. It is NOT EASY!

I think the fit test requirements are:
3 pull ups
10 pushups
4" vertical leap
Jumping Jacks for 2 mins

Tony gives you options for easy and hard ways to do each exercise movement. He always has 3 people in the background and each one is doing the routine using a different method.

I would say that you should be able to do the program, but quit bitching about money and get a good continuous reading heart monitor (like a Polar).

tl:dr- buy the program- make sure you wear a heart monitor. Otherwise you will die.
