this is what my friend told me to do every day
after everything after the jog, i do in cycles of 3
i could also replace jogging with swimming, but i want to only swim when the place is empty at my apt, so i'm going to scope it out for awhile

what do you think?

You should never do weight training (Bodyweight is considered weight training also) and cardio within six hours of each other.

Sit-ups are bullshit, they do not target the abdominals directly, and they horrible for the lower back. The entire routine also blows, there is no point in doing isolation movements if you aren't a bodybuilder. There definitely is no point in doing such high reps unless you are attempting to gain muscle, which you aren't, since you are obviously trying to lose weight.

Do you have access to a gym or are you just using dumbbells you have around the house.

Why would you put cardio at the front of a routine if you were trying to gain muscle.

Cardio catabolizes muscle, and you would be burning off calories that you need to maximize your lifting gains.

Also you don't work out your legs at all. Heavy compound lifts causes a hormonal flush throughout your system, making your entire body grow. If you want your upper body to grow as quickly as possible, you really need a new routine.

Also working out every day gives your body no time to recover.

I think your friend is trying to kill you.
