So /fit/, I did my first HIIT session this afternoon. I warmed up with a 5 minute walk, then did 30 seconds of sprinting and 90 seconds of brisk walking x6, then another 5 minute cool down. Worked up a really good sweat, and sorta felt like dying but it was good. (By the way, I noticed when I doing my last sprint, I got a really bad cramp in my lower ab area, and I was thinking how that pain was so familiar, then I realized 'holy crap, that feels like a period cramp.' For anyone that thinks that wimmenz whine too much about their periods, just remember that it feels like HIIT.)
Anyway, I did this on a treadmill, and the treadmill keeps track of calories burnt. I don't believe it 100%, but in the past I've noticed it's pretty accuarate. The whole 20 minutes I was on there burned 104 calories, it said.
How is such a small calorie burner "the best" exercise for fat loss? |:
