Hey /fit/. I'm 18, 63kg (138.6lbs) and have 10.8% body fat.
I've been doing this routine for 4 days so far

Am I going to have visible abs in 1-2 months or do I need lower body fat %?

i guess one way to really speed up toning is to tense up.
if you are doing that, tense your abdominal region and do crunches. that should give you pain like youve never felt before.
then do it again the next night.
when the pain heals, you will be more harder than before.

also, crunches and the bicycle crunches (i think thats what they're called)

At 10.8% body fat you should already have visible abs. If you are a genuine 10.8% then losing another 2-4 lbs would very easily bring out your abs. Your abs are either not developed enough or you took a misreading.

Also I have seen some cases where people look incredibly vascular and ripped all over but have no "squares" on their abs...

OP here. I don't know if that's really my body fat % I got that number from some internet calculator. Is it good enough or is there another way to know your BF% for sure?

Pic related it's me. I look so underdeveloped for being 18 and I hate it.

you'd be better off having people on /fit/ guess your body fat % than use an internet calculator. Looks to me like you have too much body fat, but probably need to gain some muscle or do lots of cardio to get your metabolism up. Also, work on your TVA muscles. try (basically) sucking in your navel to try to touch your spine (w/ a straaight back), and hold for as long as possible, WHILE BREATHING. Weak TVA muscles is the reason some people have 6 packs on pot bellies

btw, i started developing muscle SUPER late. I've always been tall so I never had to deal with being scrawny or SUPER skinny, but I could never really gain size or definition (though i could gain a little strength) until this past year, and im twenty fuckin three.

tiger woods has spoken numerous times about his late physical development too. He didn't just get huge recently, he's been known as a workout fiend since he was in early high school, it's just that his genetics didn't really allow visible results until his mid-late twenties.

You should get a skin caliper. Internet calculators wouldn't be the most accurate tools in the world. PS., it looks like you have the outlines of abs. I would say you DO need to do other exercises other than just abs. Concentrating on ONE muscle is stupid. Try to throw in some pushups / pullups (at a minimum).

I know, I have a pull up bar at home and am using it daily. I do push ups, pull ups and that routine from youtube everyday but that's as far as my training goes.

I'll try that exercise thanks.
It surprises me that you say I have too much body fat, people constantly tell me that I'm too skinny overall.

for real visible 6 packs your body fat percentage needs to be pretty low. I also don't think you're at the 10.8% the calculator claims

doesn't the actual ab workout reduce the fat in the ab area?

anyone who does that to a dog should be shot.
