Scale problems? Anonymous
fit i treadmill a mile every day at 4mph, i never eat over 2k calories (my bmr is about 2,300 or 2,400) so how come my scale has been stuck at 246 for 3 weeks? is my scale a piece of shit or am i failing.

i've lost like 7 lbs in the last two weeks. yay me

Must be trolling.

4mph is walking speed. 15 minutes of walking will not do anything for you.

Good for you. Do you have a dumbbell that you know weighs X amount? See if the scale is still good.

OP here, no I'm being serious, I don't really no much about exercise ^^;; But I was doing 3mph for a long time and it worked fine, but after my weigh stuck itself, I kicked up the pace to 4mph. I can feel burn in my legs, and even though I'm certainly staying 300-400 under my BMR, I'm not losing any weight. Is it because my body just got used to walking or something?

treadmill a mile a day at 4mph? thats only 15 minutes of barely excercise.

I treadmill for exactly 1 hour per day, it varies from 4-5 miles, sometimes i jog at 6.3mph for 5 or 10 minute intervals. usually i walk between 3.7 and 4.1 mph. that usually burns between 4-600 calories.

I also use the olyptical machine for 30 minutes to burn another 300 calories.

doing this atleast 4 usually 5 days a week, Ive gone from 6'0'' 252lbs. to 212lbs and still sinking.

the more weight you loves the less calories you burn, step your shit up.

you're probably counting calories wrong for one thing. for another you need to do something intense or your body won't be forced to adapt. weights or HIIT or skateboarding or climbing a steep hill a few times, something that induces fatigue in under a minute
