So /fit/, I've been on Nutra System Advanced, and I've come to bring a review to those looking to lose weight.

First off, there is a high variety of foods. Though costly, for most overweight people it's probably saving money. You'd be saying goodbye to all alcohol, soda, eating out, and well anything straying from them. Considering that, the price is reasonable.

The high variety of foods is nice, but I found that 50% of the foods either tasted or smelled so horrible, it made me gag and puke. Another 25% was tolerable, with the last 25% I felt tasted nice.

In my opinion, there's enough of a selection to have good variety. It's a long term investment, so in your first month or two choose a high variety plan, allowing you to pick out things you just can't eat. The portions are small, but surprisingly filling and appetizing. You eat 5 times a day, and each time you eat you have 16oz of water, and no more, no less.

I recommend it. Though I'm only a short ways in, some people I know lost about 80 pounds, another about 90 per year. Exercise at least twice a week for an hour each time, though I recommend more, and you'd slim down.

Overall, I recommend it, but it's a steep curve and I think many people would lose it within the first month. After that, though, I have confidence you'd lose some weight, and for people who need to lose 100+ pounds, it's great for a long term investment.
