I was under the impression that HIIT is a form of cardio

don't be stupid, with that regimen, you'll hurt yourself and then you'll really be fucked up.

also, PROTIP: You have to keep going to the gym even after you reach your goal weight, so suck it up and do it normally.

Yes but he means a more moderate than intense cardio workout.

You sound fat.

Nothing wrong with that regimen at al if OP is fit and isnt working the same body parts every weight day. Alternating weights and cardio is a good way to keep muscle mass while cutting. That routine is very similar to what I do, it works

I'm fit and 135 pounds or so. I just believe it not beating the fuck out of your body during the week so I can actually get out and do stuff over the weekend. Faggot, I work out to live. I don't live to work out.

going the gym only on mon/wed/fri doing lifting+HIIT

OP, if you're already close to 10% bodyfat, those last 10 lbs are going to be a bitch to get rid of. the last few percentage points of bodyfat are notoriously hard to get rid off.

You're not going to get rid of it with low or even moderate intensity cardio. This isn't what you wanted to hear but HIIT is the only way to go at this point.
