Aight /fit/...I overdid it running stairs, and now my knees feel like dire shit. I'd say I probably put in a total of about 200 flights over a couple weeks time, with about 60 of them weighted (took the elevator down for weighted though.)

How long should I expect to be recovering from this shit? I don't plan to try this regimen again...

Seven hours. I know more about your body than you, trust me.

Bullshit, they've been hurting now for about three days. I'm realistically expecting estimates in weeks or months, not hours.

Seriously, nobody else has a clue?

Wait until they don't bother you AT ALL.

Then proceed.

you DON'T need to weight your stadium runs (stair climbing, w/e you call it)

can't give an estimate because I can't give you a full eval over the internet... if you go to a university with a student health center, find the office of the ATC-L (aka L-ATC) and ask to get your knee evaluated...

Well, for greater detail, I'm 21, 5'8" 155 lbs (not a fatty) and in reasonably good shape. I also have a fairly decent diet and only drink water.

The pain is mostly at the front of the knee where it meets the shin. Mostly they just feel weak (like I can't push full force through them) and produce dull pain when I stand up from sitting or walk on hard surfaces.

It was a knock on what you're asking. You're 21, get to know your fucking body already.
