Alright, I've been riding my bike to get in shape for sports season, along with running. What do you listen to when you run /fit/?

I listen to Mago De Oz- El Cantata Del Diablo. A 20 minute long song, I enjoy listening to long songs when I run .

OP, is it better to listen to longer songs while running/biking?

I don't think so, it's just a preference for me. Since I know by the time the song is finished I'm half way done with running. I also like to listen to an entire album of certain bands as a challenge to see if I can run an entire album without stopping. It's a fun challenge for me and better than staring a timer.

I listen to the cries and yells of innocent children as I run them over.

OP, i feel the same way
its just that i do soccer and dont do much running outside of the sport because i dont feel it as necessary, and its harder for me to encourage myself to run. Another question, is it beter to run or bike to get into shape?

Well what I heard about from soccer coaches is that jogging would be bad for soccer plays because it teaches them bad habits on that transfer onto the field.

I say you run a mile a day and time yourself. Bike is also a good alternative =D for your thighs.

Excuse my incoherent babbling.

Yeah, just sprints miles and bike. In the end you just need to push yourself.
