My right brachialis has been aching for the past 3 days. I tried doing dumbbell curls 3 days ago and pushed myself a little too far. My left muscle ached for the first day too but that passed. It hurts when I straighten out my right arm. Keeping it stretched for a bit makes it more 'flexible' and less painful, but I'm wondering if that slows the recovery process. Did I pull something or is it just regular muscle burn for a newbie?

tl;dr how do I healed brachialis?

Whenever I get something similar I just rest it out.

See it as penalty, really. And learn from it.
Shit happens and it will take a little bit longer to get stronger than otherwise for som weeks...

Should I avoid bending it outward? Or will stretching it a bit help it recover?
