i just started doing HIIT too, 2 or 3 weeks ago.
this doesn't deserve it's own thread, so i'm hijacking this one: occasionally after doing HIIT (i do it on my bike) i get really REALLY lightheaded and nauseas, and it feels like i can't regulate my body temperature. it seems random; it's not like that only happens after a particularly intense workout. why does this happen, and how the hell do i make it stop? if this happened after every workout, i would quit after 3 days. it's really unpleasant.
