/Fit/, I've got a problem. I can't seem to lose the love handles and the little bits of fat that hang under my pecs making it look like I've got two part man tits. Some background - I'm fit, and reasonably strong. Not going to win any contests, but cardio fitness I can do. Even when I was in the military (About 9 months. 3 for basic, 3 and a half for employment training, and then the rest was spent as a REAL LIVE one, except I started sleep walking and got kicked out) I had these, and nothing I can do can shift the fuckers.

I was hoping some of you might have a few ideas on it; I've been lurking and posting advice in the hope that something would pop up, but thus far, jack. So an active appeal.

I'll admit it, I don't eat well. I eat plenty of nutrients, but I also eat sweet stuff and coke, etc. I also work out daily, see below.
First number is the rep amount, second number the sets, third number the weight in kilograms.
12x2x20 curls
12x2x15 curls
12x2x20 lunges
12x2x10 squats
12x2x20 Incline DB Press
12x2x20 shoulder press
12x2x55 Bench press
12x2x60 Lat Pulldown
12x2x95 Sitting leg curl

Try HIIT or tabata. I know they're our answer to everything, but that's because they work.

anyway,
5x5xY will gain you more muscles

5x5 will give you more strength. Less weight, more reps will give you larger muscles.

No it won't.

YOU CANNOT FUCKING SPOT REDUCE

YOU CANNOT BURN SPECIFIC AREAS OF FAT

you can take a cup of water out of the bathtub, but there will not be a cup-shaped divot left. all of the water will go down the same amount.

if you want to lose fat, lose fat. do this by eating less fat and calories and more cardio. you can't magic away a specific area of fat no matter what you do.

Feel free to disagree with biology & how your body works. Doesn't make you right though.

Is this an elaborate troll?
more strength=larger muscles.

low weight high reps=endurance gains and less strength gain.

Strength isn't what I'm after, it's taking out these stubborn bits. I'm reasonably strong as it is, and while I'd like to be stronger, I'd rather be as fit as I am now. And 10kg squats as in squats with 10kg dumbbells.

THe rest of me doesn't have any fat on it. Well, it does, but barely fucking any. That's the problem; even when I drop out everything that isn't fruit and meat and veggies from my diet they don't move. 13 hour days and a healthy diet didn't do shit, so I was just a bit curious if anyone else had some magic wand solution that I might not have tried or been instructed to try.

OP again, ta. I'll take a swing at those, anything that I haven't tried is welcome.

A squat with dumbbells is a deadlift. And your average ten year old can do 2x10kg squatz.

just do stronglifts on around 2500 or so (maybe less) calories with your body weight in lbs of protein every day.

Okay, my mistake. I've always called it a squat, same motion, same everything, except with barbells in hand. Again, though, I don't give a shit about my strength. I'm reasonably strong. but my cardio fitness more concerns me - I can't hold 15km for more than 17 minutes, which wrecks me. The only thing I'm doing to train that is 10 off, 60 on (seconds) at 15km until I quit, which is twice a week because I'm lazy, opposite end of the day to my normal workout.

Eh. I'll try it, if it works, you'll probably hear me shouting all the way over the pacific.

Or a dumbell squat >_>
