Well in the beginning its REALLY hard. Usually you go on a rage mode at the evening and be like "Shit I'm not gonna eat anything unhealthy ever again!" and start to plan your exercising routines. In the morning you go all lazy and forget about everything you said last evening.
Also, when you go jogging for example, you can jog for a so little time, that you get annoyed by this and don't go jogging for a while.
It's really only a matter of willpower, which fat people have way less, at least in the beginning.
Usually fit people do way better in school then fat people, for they can concentrate on studying way better.
