/fit/, just direct me towards some links to learn how to get started in body building. I am about 20% bodyfat, and I'd like to get down to 10% by next year and look pretty good shirtless. I think bodybuilding.com is a good place, since I have no idea how to do any exercise or anything, but I can't find anything that will start me off as someone who is clueless. I am a teenager, but /fit/, I remember you used to be a nice, helpful board when you first started out. A website that would take the fatness consideration at first would be nice. pic pretty related, getting to there without turning brown would be pretty nice.

You want to run as much as you can. Don't speed up and slow down in intervals, that's just bad for your knees and can slow your metabolism. When lifting weights, if you want to gain, do 10 sets of 2 reps of a really high weight. If you want to tone, to 2 sets of 10 reps of a low weight. Freeweights are for gay fags, contrary to popular belief. You want to use machines with LOTS of lines and the ones that look really advanced. Do the reps as FAST as possible to get the full benefit. Squats are for losers, jumping jacks work your legs out just as good. You really only need to work out once a week. During your workout day, do as many exercises as you possibly can. Protein is good. You want to eat a lot of red meat, it has a lot of protein. Tuna has mercury in it, stay away from it. Chicken have feelings, don't kill them. Sit ups are great! they target your stomach fat and will give you a 6 pack in no time!

Not OP but i was wondering, If I ran 2 miles and lifted weights to maintain my muscle 3 times a week, and then did HIIT the days im not lifting/running 2 miles, would I be losing muscle faster then just doing HIIT? Or does the lifting fuck up my whole metabolism and decrease my muscle mass?
