what's the deal with dairy? What happens if you stop consuming it all together? Anything good?

Also, does taking whey protein count?

Dairy is a good source of protein and calcium. If you can find alternatives go ahead, but stuff like skim milk and cottage cheese are top-tier.

Whey is not dairy per se but it comes from dairy products. Something to keep in mind if you're with PETA or something.

I grew up drinking milk, but I stopped for the past 2 years (but I still eat cheese.) I replaced getting my daily calcium source with broccoli, so I don't have any bone problems. Whenever I do have some milk, I have the worst fucking diarrhea exploding out of my ass. Its awful.
