i have been gradually shifting my diet for the better. doing the whole lose the fat routine before bulking up. slowly switching over to oatmeal, brown rice, chicken breast, etc.

however, how important is fruit overall? i really don't care for it, but in order to fulfill that "requirement" i was considering on buying a decent blender to make smoothies. yay or nay? if yay, what are the best combinations?

Smoothies are a great to have post-workout. Just combine your favourite fruit with some natural yoghurt/skim milk. Also having alot of fruit and not enough carbs can spike your sugar levels and leave you tired in a few hours.

I usually have muesli, a banana, protien powder, yoghurt/skim milk. It keeps me full for a good 3-4 hours afterwards too.

just go for the berries and bananas. Fruits like apples, pears etc. are just sugars and water - aforementioned berries and bananas are full of good shit (magnesium, potassium).
