Fat guy asking for advice Hadron
Yes, I'm fat, however I've recently started working out. I play about 30-50 minutes of stepmania (like DDR) and lift weights for around 20-30 minutes. Every day. I'm trying to eat around 2000 calories a day, but here's the dilemma, I personally don't have much money, my mom buys enough food usually to last about a week to two weeks, which before I just didn't eat much for the rest of the month.

Right now I've bought a couple of packs of canned tuna, a box of cereal and some dried fruits to snack on. I suppose the question is, what is cheap, and tasty, and healthy that I could eat on a very low budget. (Hard time finding a job)

Tuna cans are great. Cheap and healthy (evade oil-canned tuna).
Eggs.
Frozen fruit.
Frozen veggies.
Canned beans.
Pretty much anything that's canned (fuck yes, I'm enjoying my cancer).

Yeah, when I was skinnier I used to go to the gym and when getting home I filled the blender with milk, an egg, and frozen fruit (strawberries and peaches) plus a banana and an apple. Tastes fucking great. And ate my tuna directly from the can.

Yeah. Mayo is no good. Maybe it provides some good oils but the rest is crap. Eat some almonds/nuts instead (non-salty)

I never really ate much junk food to begin with, I pretty much assume that I got overweight because I don't really like sports or those kinds of activites to much, I don't really much on stuff all day, nor is there ever any food to. Hell, ALL of my skinny friends have SO much more food in their houses than at mine. I always feel bad for em when they come over, cause there is never anything to eat. As a matter of fact, I'm having to eat MORE to get 2000 calories, which was kind of another thing I'm worried about. As I know of the whole starvation mode and I don't know if my body is doing that or not. Yeah, I'm kinda fucked, ha.

The problem is, when trying to loose weight, is that you want to see the results immediately. Stick to a healthy diet and do some sport. Don't FUCKING be ashamed of putting on some shorts and going out for a walk. The first week is the toughest, but when you have aced it, the rest is easy.

I actually dropped 30 pounds in about 35 days just by doing the following: Eating two small meals a day, 30 minutes on a stationary bike/30minutes easy weightlifting daily, and no soda. I drink a TON of water and that keeps me pretty full. I'm still a work in progress though.
