So how is exactly stressing your body and your heart healthy? All my grandparents are 90+ and none of them has ever done any kind of sports, and yet it's not rare to hear in the news of fit youngsters dying of heart attack on the pitch.

Oh and before any of you goes "lol fat fuck/skinny fag doesnt want to train", I'm not either of them.

well, think of it this way: if you're a huge fat fuck your heart will be under CONSTANT stress, which is much worse than the temporary stress on your heart brought on by cardio. or at least that's what I think.

also some people are just genetically predisposed to heart attacks, despite their fitness.

Stress makes the body adapt to it. Meaning if you hurt yourself, your body will rebuild and make itself better than before so it doesn't happen again.

yar
stress kills.
also moderate consumption of everything is the key to long life. every meal and every breath is a step closer to death! tested and proven right by yogis or such who minimize the amount of food and breathing and live to be 200.
also - beekeeping! is worth a shot if one wants to have a long and healthy life.

consuming 3000+ calories and sweating the brains out day after day isn't very sparing for the body but in many ways it's better than sitting on a lardy ass.

Youngins dying seems to be all over the news is because of media alarmism over undiagnosed rare heart defects. The chances of a healthy young person dying from these kind of heart defects are similar to winning the lottery.

Because stressing your heart the right way will make it stronger.

Some elite marathon runners are known for having extremely low resting pulses, below 50bpm.
