Hi /fit/. Next week on Wednesday, I must leave on a school trip to D.C. until Saturday. Now, this is going to be hard for my exercising. I started in early February to restrict my calorie intake and walk on my treadmill, and eventually built up from 25 minutes to 60 minutes of walking now (I do it everyday). I've been doing great, and have lost about 28 lb so far (lost a good bit initially, and have been losing at a healthier rate since). Now, for the three days I will be gone, I will just feel guilty the entire time that I won't be able to do any exercise (except touring, though I don't expect to burn much more than 50 calories). I also have a slow metabolism. Therefore, I am afraid of both gaining weight while I'm there, and not be able to exercise to lose the vital extra 400 calories I normally burn off. What do you guys think, is this ok?Also, just a random question. Is liver any bad for you? Cow liver, I believe (may be lamb, though not entirely sure). I like it, though I've heard it's high in calories. I didn't eat a meal of it or anything, I made myself a tuna sub, but I couldn't resist eating about three barbecued ones while I was downstairs.
anyone?
Just generally watch what you eat and your calorie intake. I went on a school trip to D.C. years ago, and from what I remember, it was a fuckton of walking. You'll be fine.
>>411833 days won't fuck your shit up. Just don't eat everything in range.
>>41922Muscles don't atrophy as fast as they build, woooo evolution. That means...enjoy your 3 day vacation, eat right, and take some extra time for healing.
I believe I read some where that it takes about 7 days for atrophy to kick in.
Eat nothing for 3 days.
>>41943Ok, I'm a little happier, but still. I guess 3 days will do me good for walking for 60 minutes a day everyday for a month now.
Walking from the Smithsonians over to Ford's theatre etc will be a decent hike. One of the malls I went to had to be near a mile long.Walk fast anywhere you go. Run stairs and skip elevators.
