I know you guys probably get this a lot, but I'm a fatty who wants to lose weight and build up some muscle mainly in my arms. I know there's there the standard eat better, exercise more thing. The thing is, I suck at exercising and I tend to need something to relax me like music, however all my music is spacey sort of relaxing stuff, I need stuff that will pump me up.

Another problem is, I'm addicted to Coke (the drink) and whenever I stop drinking it I get cravings for it, how do I stop drinking it and start drinking a healthier alternative? I've been thinking of just doing it, but I don't know how long or if that will work.

If I did half an hour of pushups/situps/weights every night and started drinking water and eating more healthy, would I notice a significant change?

I really want to lose weight but I fail at sports, and I'd like to do it in the privacy of my own, thanks.

I've got a lot of Pink Floyd/King Crimson/Porcupine Tree stuff, most of it's slow and sort of relaxed. I need some good rock I think, nothing too heavy.

So the half an hour of doing stuff = good or bad? I might have to start getting into riding again.

That actually sounds hard to me, showing you how lazy I am, not to mention people will think I'm insane. How about everytime I want a coke I sprint downstairs, sprint up the stairs, sprint back down them, run to the fridge and get myself a water?

Depends on how many stairs you have. If it's a significant amt of stairs than I think that'd be an okay substitute

Alright, did an hour of random stuff, and I'm feeling a bit tired now, got a bit sweaty, but not too much. I most did situps, pushups and a couple of those hand held weights. I've had a shower, and now for lunch I'm going to have 1 mini pizza (I usually have 4) that's supposedly low in sugar >.> and a cup of tea. Should I add milk with the tea? Or just have it with water? And then I'll probably have an apple and do another half hour, does that sound good?

I wanted to go for a ride, but I haven't got the garage key.

Question: I have same problem as OP with the coke. I'm fucking addicted to the shit. My dad was an addict and as such there was always coke in the house. Luckily (Or unluckily?) it was only pepsi max, so there was no sugar in it, but of course a bunch of aspartam so I probably have cancer for now.

ANYWAY, I can't stop with the pepsi max man, I mean it's basically 0 calorie, but will it still fuck up my weightloss? Would I lose more weight by drinking only water?
