I had this bad from the start of puberty till about a year or two ago. I stopped or drastically limited the amount of red meat, fried foods, and white bread I ate. I used soaps for sensitive skin ( this is the best Ive ever found and am currently using it http://www.pangeaorganics.com/pangea-organics-soap-bars.html also, they actually put tiny flower seeds into the packaging, so you can plant them when you're done. Honestly this made me happy/smile when I found out) and used aquaphore(type of moisturizer thing, it's recommended for new tattoos aswell. Sort of like chapstick).
It's like 100% gone now. No visible rashes or anything, though in some places my skin gets easily irritated.
Looking back on it Im not sure if the steroid cream my doctor gave me actually helped. It may have made things worse in the long run, though it did keep the inflammation down.
