Hi /fit/ I have a question about loose skin. What are the first signs, when does it typically start, what are the chances of it happening to me.My info age: 23. height : 6 feet, had frequent weight fluctuations in the past (mostly about 10-15 lbs), never had stretch marks, loose skin before, weight : at the beginning of March - 231 lbs, as of today 198 lbs ( went down by 2000 kcal diet, weight lifting 4 times a week and doing cardio 2 times a week) I plan to drop to 172 lbs till October.
Well...it looks loose, saggy. Stretchmarks may appear.If you lose weight steadily and don't crash diet then your skin will have time to adapt.
Loose skin is really only an issue if you have over 100lbs to lose. 60lbs isn't enough to see anything too bad. You should be fine since you're weight lifting. It helps your body not lose as much muscle while you're in a deficit.
