I'm enlisting in the Army as 11x Airborne Ranger in the beginning of winter.

The ONLY thing that I suck at when it comes to exercise is my running endurance. I can already do the maximum amount of push ups and sit ups to get a 100 on the APFT, but I can't run worth shit.

My goal is to increase my endurance as much as I can before basic training so I can get on good levels with the DI.

It would also be good for me to increase my endurance and leg strength before I go to Airborne school and Ranger Indoctrination... I want to actually be able to get through to Ranger school and have cardio endurance.

So. Anyone have any suggestions on increasing my endurance kind of quickly? I wouldn't mind getting a semi high score on the running section of the APFT... I don't know if I'll be able to run the 2 miles in 13:00 thing, but that would be even better for me.

you should be able to find tons of articles on google pertaining to workout routines specificaly catering for your needs.

the problem with asking fit is that everyone will come on here and throw their generic opinions and regurgitated facts at you. mots will say shit like SQUAT and tell you to do HIIT.

do some research, i'd be willing to bet money that you can find workouts that are specificaly made for soon-to-be military men who need to step up their game.
