Cymbalta Anonymous
So /fit/ I've never posted here, I'm a /v/irgin.

My family is a bunch of kooks on my grandpa's side, and we all take anti-depressants because of the crazy gene.

SO, I have been on 30 mg/day of Paroxotine (Paxil) for probably a good 5 to 7 years now. It worked, I guess, but I had an uber meltdown on Wednesday morning, and my doctor immediately switched my meds to 60 mg/day of Duloxetine (Cymbalta) which seems better because I'm not BAWWWing and complaining about my job anymore.

Anyone have any experiences with either drug they would care to share?

Don't bother about talking to me about SSRI withdrawal syndrome and all that shit, I know about it/have experienced it multiple times before.

You didn't ask for any advice. You just popped in and said "Hey guys I take these pills. Does anyone else?" Apparently no one who has seen this thread in the last 13 minutes has.

Whiny dick.

I take Prozac. It's really helped, and I've never gotten any symptoms from it.

i took paxil a few times for a few months at a time.

i would get to the point on paxil where i just wouldnt give a shit about anything.

lets see. i cheated on my wife on paxil.. i got divorced on paxil, i got drunk and blacked out on paxil, i was a zombie on paxil..

yea i guess it was good.

but then i got more involved with joining a gym and working out and dont need paxil anymore..

yea im still lazy and my life is nothing right now, but i know that there is no magic pill

I was on Paxil and Clomipramine because of OCD. While they seemed to be working, I stopped taking them because I started to care less and less about the thoughts and they still seemed to be there with the meds (even though they were less prominent, I guess).
