Hey guys, I started exercising a few months ago doing push ups, crunches, and some weightlifting. I've already noticed results, but I gotta say, doing the crunches is getting tiring. My neck and back are always sore afterwards, but I am seeing progress. My abs feel a little bit tighter, but I still have to much body fat for them to be visible.

So basically, what are some good ab workouts that won't strain my neck?

None of those look fun. I guess I'll just do the crunches.

PS. Are jump ropes good for anything?

so are you just doing more crunches instead of increasing the difficulty by going onto an incline or doing them with a plate? If so then do them that way.

I do full sit ups on a 45 degree incline with a 65lb dumbell on my chest, increasing the weight every week. But I only do it because I think doing crunches makes people look like faggots.

I'll probably pay for it when i'm 50 but whatever.

Yeah I started at 50 and now I'm up to 150. I do 6-7 sets of 150. I can't really go to the gym right now either. Maybe I could make some equipment?

I'm also looking for a kind of cardio workout. I've tried running, but it kills my knees. Biking is alright. But I ask again, is jump roping any good?
