ok /fit/ i have been going to the gym for about 4 months now and have been running about a mile everyday and working my abs alot but still u can see my ribs just but i cant lose fat from the bottom sectors of my abdominals , any suggestions just to lose weight from that section of my body ?

I don't really think it's healthy to run a mile EVERYDAY. Try taking a break one day out of the weak. Try doing yoga.

Running a mile six days a week might be a bit better for you than running seven times a week, but doing it everyday is by no means unhealthy. Even on pavement.

1 mile a day isn't much at a all, its all of what 5-8 minutes its not gonna hurt you, people coddle themselves too much as is.


OP: try doing some HIIT 2-3 times a week in place of running a mile, running a mile other days is still fine

I must be the most unhealthy person to have ever lived, then. Me and my teammates. We warm up with 2 miles, then we practice, then we condition (sprints + long distance) at the end of practice. This is Lacrosse, by the way. It's not like you can sit around and do nothing.

If running 1 mile everyday was bad for you, I'd be dead.
