I'm dying to find a kyokushin dojo in my area, it'd give me an excuse to work out more. Anyone take a style? I love the full contact, fight-till-you're-dropped aspect. Less hokey than padded point sparring like strip mall 'krotty' or TKD, and less of that "OMG BJJ FO LIFE YO" shaved headed chin scruff growing MMA crowd.

YAMAKI KARATE STUDIO

Says the adult monthly fee is $100, that's a fucking shame. If you can afford it and get on the fighting team, it'd be well worth it. If not, I'm sure as long as it's Kyokushin you'll learn all the same shit. Good luck.

oh yea, it says he resigned from kyokushin, does that mean he doesn't teach the style or that he just left the organization?

Remember you will get the shit beat out of you, so no whining. Cross training in goju ryu couldn't hurt either.
