Okay, everyone knows that if you put weights on your wrists and punch, you'll hyperextend your arms and fuck shit up.

I just thought of a new way of training like this though.

Okay, it's a vest, with a metal ring above each of your pecks. You wear a glove, and a resistance band attatches the glove to the rings on the vest. You then train with that against a heavy bag. No hyperextension problems, the resistance increases the further you extend your arms, but there's no momentum to worry about because the resistance comes from elastics. It seems like it would seriously improve your punching speed and power.

Good idea or bad idea?
