Hello /fit/ this is the first time i come to /fit/ and it's to ask a question.

When i was 14 i was 5'8" and 230lbs
That summer after my doctor warned me that i might have a heart attack at a young age, i managed to lose weight and the next year i was about 5'10" and 190lbs I did 150 crunches/situps (sometimes 250) a day, drank a lot of water, halved my portions and biked everywhere at any time. My doctor said i did a radical transformation and was very proud (especially since i did it all on my own with out consulting any sources (not even the internet, nutritionist or even friends and family))

But now i'm 20 and i'm still 5'10" and i'm still 190lbs, i'm not fit looking, my legs are still strong, since i still bike everywhere but my torso is still mostly fat (fucking man boobs are pig disgusting) But when ever i try to do what i did when i was 14 i fail.

I still have high blood pressure and i just want to loose some weight and feel better about my self image.

Also what are ways to reduce high blood pressure, i've always had it all my life.

Now you're making me feel bad. I'm 5'9'' and 185lbs. I didn't think I was fat...

you cant just do cardio and expect to lose weight, you have to do muscle training exercises, weight training is more efficient even

true and you'll look good after you lose the fat.

I'm not huge, but i want to get down to 175-180

The recommended weight, and by doing so i'm hoping to do something about my blood pressure.

I see, well i have some dumbbells and a barbell, they're really cheap, but i guess i'll try them out.

What weight training exercises would you recommend?
