Hey /fit/ I am a male and work as an herbalist. I also have hemolytic anemia. Now I suggest iron supplements to other people who come in with anemia or who just want an iron supplement. Mostly women come compaining of this, and everytime I mention that I also suffer from anemia, they seem very surprised as though males never have had anemia. So I want to ask /fit/, is it REALLY that uncommon for a male to have anemia? If there are others like me out there, please speak.

OP: heh yeah, it does making a good selling point though when you actually do have the same thing,

I don't have anemia, but I take desiccated liver tablets every day. Shit ROCKS. The total iron content isn't as high as say iron sulfate supplements, but liver is high in -assimilable- iron, so you get more of it. Iron = more red blood cells. I get awesome pumps in the gym. Some of you might say it's just water weight, and you'd be correct but shortsighted. Water in your muscles makes your muscles big, and makes them strong.

I eat 3-4 g of Vit C per day only when I'm feeling sick or am around people who are sick.

A lot of women self diagnose lack of iron if they are feeling a bit tired or whatever the fuck. Stupid bitches.
