I am not a sixpackabs faggot who works out biceps and abs to get the girls but there's something wrong with my belly.

I've lifted heavy for about 3-4months now and I'm definitely seeing some results. especially in PR's. However, I don't like having this gut I have How do I get rid of i?. Part of it is due to eating a fuckton today but anyway. Of course i can always suck it all day in all day but that feels like I am cheating. Also, I hate the extra weight feeling it gives me but again that's probably mainly due to eating all day long.

Inb4 skinnyfat, I deadlift 400lbs and run a mile in 5minutes.

I can believe you on the 400lb deadlift, you look like you've got the legs for it, and the faggots around here think that 400lbs is a lot of weight.

Your stomach looks pretty normal, of course it's going to stick out if you've stuffed yourself, and even if you lose bodyfat it probably wont change much. At your height you should be closer to 200lbs, so just keep eating a keep lifting.

400 lbs is a great deal of weight. If OP's pic is legit, he has very little mass, and it would be very unlikely that he's regularly deadlifting 400.

400 lb isn't a magically remarkable weight to deadlift, fellas. I started working out just this past summer and got my deadlift up to 315 after 2 months. I stopped lifting routinely until then, but I reckon a month more would easily get me to 400 lb deadlifting. This guy's 3-4 months is more than enough. Granted, I'm not as cut as him yet, which sucks for me.

They suck? Wtf does that even mean, son? This is deadlifting, not some high-rep workout. You lift it up once, you put it down, take a breather, do it again. It's about pushing yourself to your body's maximum. When I deadlift, I turn red, veins pops out on my neck which inflates like hell too. Should feel like a spaceship lifting off triumphantly, that sort of thing.

I'm a tall, skinny-ass fuck, I can barely bench 135, yet I was able to deadlift 200 lbs for reps the first time I ever tried.

Hahah yeah. And it's not like you can just go there and pick up the weight. you need at least 15min of warmup lifts and building the rage to get even the set weights up. Let alone PR's. Your fingers are in terrible pain but you won't even notice that until after the lift.

Squats are pretty hard but deadlifts are the most brutal thing ever. It feels fantastic after the lift though.

Yeah, I started at 225 with starting strenght. 4months ago. (previously a track runner, 800m and up and I had done some weight training before)

10-15lbs jump, didn't stall until the set weight was at 340lbs. no bullshit. All other lifts still relatively crappy.

Most experience I had previously was doing mindless bicep curls with 30 lb dumbbells, and I don't know, maybe being a marathon runner in the past solidified my core--deadlifting really is all about core. I can lift with my arms more than I can deadlift, and I know this because if I go down on my knees, grab the weights, and straighten out from there, it's no problem at all for my arms. In the summer, I cleaned up my diet to the gram, and every time I hit a new deadlift max, I felt sore to at least some extent and pretty much disabled. I guess I was wreckless because one day I threw every plate I had onto my barbell (at home), and attempted a jump from 240 to 315 lb. I couldn't do it the first time, but a few more attempts and wreckless tests of will eventually helped me get that shit up there. It's all legs, and legs grow fast as hell if you supply them well. Now I have that 315 lb barbell sitting on my dorm room floor and I deadlift it pretty much every day to keep my musculature. I hit the gym the other day and 340 wasn't crazy.

It's call determination and the willingness to break some bones, brah. If it hurts, GOOD, shit will repair itself.

Well, I'm 5'7 155lbs, and have just got back into lifting after training for a half-marathon. My form in deadlifts and SQUATZ have always been weak, so I'm starting low and working on my form.

only starting with SQUATZ at 135
and Deadlift at 115

But at least I have form.
