you have no idea, the most exercise I've done in the past month is cashier or play halo, whatever is more strenuous. My shoulder blades still hurt, do I need to stretch them or something.

It's probably to do with my bad sitting posture when on the computer.

I have this exact same problem. It's like an ache between the shoulder blades that gets worse if you arch your upper back. No idea what's causing it or how to fix it, but I thought I'd let you know that you're not alone.

I've had to go to see the physiotherapists for this exact same shit. Been going on for about a year now. It's all to do with posture, and yes, it can be helped by adjusting your posture while at the computer every now and then. Go get some sessions done with a professional, invest in a new computer chair, and try leaning your back against a wall completely flat.
But I mean completely.
Stay in this position for as long as you can, and repeat daily.

More tips so we can save thousands of dollars? What exactly do they have you do?

I used to have this problem. Felt like my upper back muscles were on fire. I got a new desk chair and that solved it.

Well most of the process is actually doing these small exercises yourself, developing a routine over time. The physio mainly does some massaging here and there, to loosen up things a bit. This then gives you a startup point to do these things on your own.
You should have your arms stuck to the wall also (bent ), as if you were lying flat on the wall. Then move your arms up and down as far as you can, without losing the wall-back contact.
We have free healthcare here.. so yea..
