I saw a post here on /fit/ about being much stronger then you actually look. Like you look in good shape but you can lift like a beast.Is that possible?It was something about low reps with heavy weights.

Yes, its entirely possible. If you don't eat in a way that's conducive to size gains, you'll stay small but your CNS will continually improve and you can make leaps and bounds strength-wise. Bodybuilding training and functional strength training are also very different.

Pretty much its kind of hard to look like a beast, takes several years of lifting etc.

Actually you build more muscle mass and less bulk when you do a high rep workout with slightly lower weight.

I try to switch back and forth every 4 weeks between high weight low reps to high reps low weight.

And I do lift like a beast.
