/fit/, I'm in great pain.

I'm not sure what caused it, but I've got some serious stomach pains. I think it was the beef I had, must have been too raw. It's been up to 6 hours now, straight through the night, and no sign of it geting any better. Sometimes I'm writhing in pains, other times my stomach feels like it wants to throw up, and sometimes it feels like it would be fine, only to creep up on me a few minutes after. It's early morning now so I'll be going to the doctor as soon as they open, but have you got any suggestions?

Drink something sweet, take a warm/hot shower or sit on the toilet seat.

Quit blaming the steak. I just had one tonight too for the 3rd day in a row, raw as bearable, and I feel grrrrrrrrreat!

Properly cooked rare beef isn't going to do that to you, so don't knock a beautifully delicious food like that. You might have a virus from improper preparation methods, improper sanitation (ex. something contaminated left on the counter), or not washing your hands.

It wasn't the meat. I've been eating my steak blue rare for years now...and the only time I ever felt sick was when I took a 32 oz steak challenge at a local restaurant. 32oz steak, baked potato, garlic toast, side salad and a beverage...finish it all in 20 mins or less and it's free, otherwise you can shell out $40 and get a Polaroid of your bloated, bbq sauce covered face added to the Wall of Shame.
