So, I broke my wrist.I haven't been to the gym in a month and a half. Doctors tell me the damage isn't TOO bad, I just cracked the radial distus in my right wrist (bone that supports the smaller bones in the hand).I figured I wasn't even going to attempt exercise (aside from the occasional 15 minute HIIT session)I have a cast on it now, and it comes off August 15th.I badly want to start exercising again. I've noticed my muscle size going down since my accident and its driving me nuts. I stupidly tried lifting my set of 50lb dumbells in my basement but I didnt feel any pain or anything.. so I wonder:Should I just wait until a FULL recovery or is there ANYTHING I can do to keep myself occupied?
Just cut the cast off now and be sure not to fall the same way to did to break it.
Fuck your doctors. Your doctors told you not go to the gym because they think you are dumb and will hurt yourself again.
