Sup /fit/, I started working out regularly about 2 weeks ago, focusing mostly on chest, arms, shoulders and back. I'd like to get into core exercises because I hear they are great for building strength but a lot of such movements are advanced and I'm still somewhat of a fat shit (6'2", 230). Does anyone have any exercises to recommend that could help me before I move on to the more difficult techniques?

If you want to lose weight, doing squats and such is not going to help at all, you may build muscle but its still under a load of fat, use the rowing machine at your gym, its the best way to lose fat fast, and it works every muscle in your body if you use it properly.

What the fuck are you talking about... squatz are a cardiovascular workout, unless you take like 10 seconds between reps and 5 minutes between sets
