Depressed? Anonymous
Hi thar /fit/

Am I depressed?

I get bored really easily and nothing interests me, I have no motivation to get up in the morning for work or college, I get aggressive sometimes and end up in arguments a lot. I will sleep for a very long time if I don't need to be up for something and i'm never satisfied with anything I have.

are you sad? ;_;
>> Anonymous
Not sad in the traditional sense. I still get along with friends and can enjoy myself, just everything else is a bit empty.

exercise. it releases endorphines and makes for feel better, both mentally and physically. Otherwise take crazy pills.

You are an attention whore, nothing else.

I think you're right about the exercise actually. I do absolutely fuck all. The most exercise I get is walking up an down stairs to the stockroom at work.

OP...just find contact your college outreach program and get free help. The dipshits here don't believe in any sort of psychology or mental sciences.

You need to talk this stuff over with an insightful professional, not bring it to an anonymous image forum packed with 16-year-old trolls.

This isn't /b/ though, I was expecting some actual discussion instead of cocks and gore. It worked out quite well.

ib4 cocks and gore

You'd be surprised how much effect exercise & diet has on your mental state. You dont need a degree in psychology to know that eating junk food and sitting on your ass all day is going to make you feel like shit.

You are just like me except I'm always statisfied with what I have, except of my body.

I really don't think you are depressed, you just lack motivation and direction which makes you frustrated.

Exercise will help, set yourself some goals and make a plan. Wake up earlier and go for a run or something, have a big nutritious breakfast and you will feel great for the rest of the day.

Find a hobby, something different from what you are doing right now that has always interested you.

Also, cheer the fuck up :)

Sounds just like me so I resort to drinking to make myself feel numb and dumb for that time being, but it's worse as I sober up.

I'm gonna try getting better nutrition hoping this will help atleast a lil.

you have signs of anxiety which a lot of psychologist consider to be an attribute of depression.

while it can be associated with depression. It, by itself, is not depression; however anxiety can certainly lead to depression.

Don't see a psychologist, they'll try and prescribe you something. You need to get out, start surrounding yourself with genuinely positive things (GENUINELY! DON'T TRICK YOURSELF).

Be concerned but understand life goes on, blah blah blah. Steer clear of introversion. But must importantly INDENTIFY your anxiety. When you start to get that way your mind should be going IM BEING ANXIOUS IM BEING ANXIOUS! HEY FUCKFACE! YOU'RE BEING ANXIOUS RIGHT NOW!

it'll help.

Stupid idea is stupid. I used to go throw truckloads of alcohol a week and generally felt like killing myself everyday. Havent touched a drop of alcohol in 4 months mainly because it conflicts with my diet and i feel great.

Ah alcohol, the solution and cause to all of life's problems

I used to feel like that for months. You need to go out more, do sports (it really does make you feel loads better) and most importantly find a source of motivation. Clearly, that's what you lack.
