/fit/ - I have a problem.Recently I purchased a bike to start doing some cardio to get fit. So - I went on it for an hour yesterday. The problem is that rather than just sweating - I get prickly, itchy heat all over my body that turns my skin red. What the fuck is wrong?
Is it from 'exercise', is it duration related, or related to an allergy?Do you get the rash from running? Do you get the rash if you bike for, lets say, 20 minutes? Do all this and figure out what's causing it.
Could be heat rash. Could be allergies. I get that sometimes, it goes away pretty quick, I don't bother with it.Might not have the same thing you have, but it happens.
>>74114>>74116Op here. It's not just in exercise - it happened at the supermarket aswell.I think it happens when my skin responds to temperature/light change since it happened around the freezer section.Lots of things cause it - temperature, light - I'm considering talking to my doctor about it.
>>74113Your body is full of la toxins. Did you not work out a lot before?Once you start making this more routine, your body will start to make actual sweat.
>>74157OP here. No, I didn't have any exercise routine beforehand. The prickly heat problem does seem to go around 10-15 minutes into exercise.
answer: you have dry skin. If you are mostly sedentary, and you have dry skin, then sweating will be remarkably painful for some time, but it passes.
I get that shit alot in the summer at work. When it gets around 100+ degrees under the sun I start to feel like im getting pricked by needles.
take off your shirt, itll go away
>>74237Yeah, it sucks. Except I get it nearly all the time - lol.
