That's not really that bad. You'll be able to get in shape quickly if you're serious enough about it. Just keep running/swimming and don't eat shit food.
When I say "keep doing it" I mean for at least an hour everyday. The more you do in a day everyday, the quicker you'll lose weight.
Warm up for 5 minutes with light cardio, then get into a steady rhythm. When your heart rate is through the roof for about 15 minutes, you'll stop burning sugars and start burning fats.
It'll take time for your heart and legs to adapt to the new stress, but I say you'll be running farther and faster in about 2 weeks if you keep at it. Dedication is the real challenge.
