Hey OP, Did some Karate and TKD on-and-off when i was a kid, Wrestled throughout high school (among other sports)
This year in college i'm looking at joining a local dojo for BJJ and Kickboxing. Am also doing Rugby and working out in the mornings, so it should prove to be an interesting semester, but i've found grappling skills lately to be very effective in the play-fights that me and a bunch of roommates end up getting into with eachother (over anything, over whether it's who cleans the dishes or who gets to drink).
On a side note, my g/f did a lot of Hapkido when she was a kid, and even though i'm ~30lbs heavier than her and have my wrestling experience for takedowns, she's much better with technique than me and often has me on the ground first :X (some of those grapple-throws from standing are nuts!)
