help with polar monitor Anonymous
So i bought a polar monitor to help me with my daily workout, as a 29 YO a little overweight with a heavy workload, I try to use the elliptical trainer for 30 minutes a day, staying most of that time at 75% of my Max HBR.
I configured the polar, did the test that should fine-tune the zone according to ones fit level, and selected the improve program.
The thing is , this machine is really random, I'm ready to start running I select my maiden playlist and this shit starts doing another test when I'm already running so my HB are above 100 so it sets a completely arbitrary "zone" like 112- 165 pretty big margin isn't it.
today I run for 35 minutes and when i check the monitor the thing wanted me to run 90 minutes and 900 kcal goal. How should I set this thing up?

Read it then bring it back where you bought it if it's broken.

Also, any cardio should last at least 45 minutes. Average minimum for fat loss to occur.

I don't eat bad at all, not all the time at least. I don't get fast food. and don't abuse alcohol, don't smoke.
My problem is I have sweet tooth.

Despite all that I've stayed the same weight for almost 10 years, when I work out only my muscular mass seems to change.
Since I work a lot 9-10 hours a day, I don't have time to run for 90 minutes.
Well I'm 6" tall and 200lbs for you people in the US.

45 minutes sounds reasonable, my problem is how to set the damn thing to 45 minutes sessions.
its not about the lash either, the thing is supossed to keep track of how much you've run and burned. also its easier for me to get my mind to do a certain amount oif time before I start, that way I can get up 15 minutes earlier and finish 45 minutes before going to work.
