Big Toe is Yellow Anonymous
Sup, I just noticed that for the past few weeks my Big toes on both feet (the Nail, near the middle and end) has become slihtly yellow. I dunno what it means...

Anyone know if its like I'm low on calcium, or something? Any help?

could be athlete's foot.
Do you sweat a lot in your shoes?
Do they smell funny?

Nah smell fine, and I don't sweat at all. Atleast not enough that I notice it. Socks are always dry, even in hot days.

Athlete's foot doesn't need to smell funny or needs a lot of sweat. It's higly infective and will also just occur if you go swimming and afterwards don't shower your whole feet again or don't use a towel.

Is it more like really yellowish (mostly a fungus infection), yellow-greenish (mostly a sign of diabeeetus) or yellow brownish (mostly some kind of kidney-malfunction or "yellow-nail-Syndrom")?

There can be many things that can cause your nails to become a yellowish colour.

The way you describe it (only near the middle and end) sounds more like an early fungus infection, nothing serious.

But go see a dermatologist anyway, whatever it is, it's not normal.
Search with google (yellow nail) and look for a pic that's describing the colour best or take a pic of your toe.

If it was about a calcium-deficiency or something similar it would "grow into" the nail slowly from the back.

I think it's "just" a fungus.
And then you need to get it treated as soon as possible. If you let it grow deeper it could take over a year (and I MEAN over a year) or at least months to treat it. Those are some resistant little buggers.

Thank you. I will look into it!
