Cleans have the barbell out front, where not much lean is necessary to put the barbell's weight directly over the feet. Pic related: the barbell is cleaned directly over the feet with minimal lean. In a OL squat, they either front-squat the load or they place it very high on the back. Neither of these weight distributions happen in powerlifting squats, which need less flexibility and technique, and where the bar is lower on the back and needs more lean to keep it over the feet.
The one static rule here: The barbell goes over the center of the feet without too much flexion of the knees beyond the toes. Also, no one here needs to be doing OL squats unless they actually participate in OL: because you're too dumb to get the techniques right without a real coach. Stick to powercleans as per SS.
