Anyone here get waxed? How long does that last until you have to do something about it again?

I googled it, but I get varying results that said anywhere from 3 weeks to like 4 years.

1) That photo is nasty...hence my bump.
2) Yes, I have got shit waxed before (Chest/Lower back)
3) Yes, it's fucking painful as hell and you bleed a little out of your pores
4) It took about 6 weeks to grow back, though it took about 3-4 months for it to reach the same thickness as before

Wait a sec...that isn't a shirt...

i've thought about it. almost seems worth it. i have a superman shaped patch on my chest, it would be nice if it just went away.

I've gotten my butt and the "change purse" area done.

HURTS LIKE HELL. But it's nice to have a bum so clean that you only need once square of TP to wipe it.

First of all, if you never have gotten waxed before YOU WILL CRY LIKE A LITTLE BITCH. It hurts and you will bleed a bit out of your pores. Deal with it until you do it enough to get used to it.

It really varies on how long shit grows back, but it's usually at least a month for me.

a month? blech. i might just start saving up for laser epilation, shit dog

if you have the $$$ go with lazer. it's much, much better.

hair still grows back with the laser, and it burns your skin.
it's not "painless" as they advertise, though doing it a few times is a lot more tolerable then getting shit waxed for the rest of your life
and the hair grows back, just much thinner and lighter
repeated treatments make it very fine and very light which is hard to see/notice

yeah, that's what i've heard, after like 5 sessions it starts going away permanently. i think i can deal with the pain, as long as it's permanent. going through excruciating pain once a month routinely doesn't sound too kosher to me. laser treatment is like, what, 500-600 bucks a session?

FUCK, i hate having back hair. i have such self-esteem issues

depends on the body part.
i priced it a few times and it was looking like around $3-500 per treatment, with "package deals" for arms or legs at around $1700
some places did it by # of laser pulses; people w/ more hair need more pulses
it also works better for people with high contrast between the color of their hair and the color of their skin, i.e. dark hair on fair skin. black hair on black skin takes repeated pulses

Do they do all body parts? Including the scrotum?

you'd trust someone shooting a laser at your nuts?
>> Anonymous

yeah they'll do pretty much everywhere, including neck, eyebrows, butt/anus area, and crotch, tho that's crazy expensive and probably really unpleasant

I rather trade a few days of pain for a lifetime of hair free nuts so the temporary unpleasantry doesn't bother me. I figured it wouldn't be cheap.

I don't mind having hair, but I can do without it in certain areas (feet, butt, nuts, back). Luckily, I don't have to worry about a hairy back '^_^, but the feeling of hair tugged from the foot can be a lifetime of torture. Not to mention hair tugged from your nuts. Tried waxing and realized a lifetime of that can be more painful than marriage.

Sure, lasers on nuts sounds insane. But hey, we all have our chestnuts roasting on an open fire at some point in our lives.

i'd be more worried about my sperm count or permanently damaging my nuts than discomfort or pain. testicles are very delicate organs. if tighty-whities are bad for nuts, i can't imagine killer lasers are much better
