Newfag here
Started taking protein powder for the first time. I took it last night after my nightly workout.. Mixed my 100 grams of powder with hot chocolate so it wouldnt taste like assberries. Also I'm a skinny fag (145 pounds sadly.. with a medium build and im on the cross country team so pretty fit) So my questions are:

How much protein should I take?
How and when should i take it?

Thanks for advice... Goals are to get six pack (I have definition but not enough yet), peck, biceps triceps (the usual /fit/izen goals... and also to have a dick like that cow thats hung like a fuckin horse)

Also, wouldnt me stopping CC make me less fit... I mean isnt cardio useful in the muscle building process?

being a skinnyfag, no. Cut the cardio completely, it will diminish your gains.

Take 50g of protein within 30 minutes of your workout, i suggest having it with a meal that is also high in carbz.

You took to much powder. You need 1 gram for ever pound you weigh, however, 50% of it should be through a natural source. Anything more it will be less effective and would damage your liver over a long period of time.

do what the poster above you says, take 1-1.2g of protein per pound of bodyweight each day. Try to get the bulk of this from from your meals (i.e. eggs, chicken, nuts, etc.) If you can't get it all then have a protein shake, it's no big deal it just costs more when you can easily get it from regular foods.

Yes, but it depends on the person. I use the general rule of 40g can be digested in hour. Wish I had a sauce to provide but sadly I can't remember where I've read that, and can't seem to find any solid information on this subject - my google-fu is weak
