Sup /fit/.

I've just started weightlifting (two months in), and I'm only training ONE muscle.

I don't intend on getting fit, don't intend on getting ripped and don't intend on being strong.

I intend to train ONE of my biceps (right, obviously) until it is massive. Don't care how fat I get as long as I can see my huge bicep. I've started doing:

Curls
Hammer curls
Preacher curls
Idk what they're called but I get a very heavy weight and let it drop in like 5 secs or so.. crazy resistance.

Any tips?

No tips, but I *MUST* see progress pics.

I'd better start taking pix. Good idea.

Is there any way I can get a really decent workout from this, like say every single day? Any ways I can aid recovery so I'm ready to go next day?

Enjoy your torn tendon

I like your trolling, but could you actually do this and take pics of the progress please? It would be fucking brilliant, one massive bicep and a completely flat, shapeless arm.

going slowly down is negatives/concentration curls

Do that 30 times then rest your arm for a fortnight. Take creatine and get lots of protein

Will creatine do anything to the rest of my body or...?

there was a motivator wirth a picture of guy who did only biceps traning. Not to mention, he looked worse than if he had never trained any muscle.

care

>>96646
Only if you train it but if you just do day to day activities it shouldn't make a difference
>> Sponge !!5qxfxHYSQxJ
>>96664

K something to consider then...

Any possible major health problems from this?

Could I start steroids (after a couple of years of this) and only get gains on that muscle?
>> Anonymous
creatine has no short term side effects and there are no known long term side effects. Only problems occur if you dont drink a lot of water, 1-2 gallons a day.. in which kidney stones may form and if severe enough, enough long term dehydration with creatine can lead to kidney failure. but, thats the worst of the worst scenarios.

tl;dr Creatine is fine, drink water

holy shit

your an idiot, do NOT do what you are doing, your body will not effectivley follow. The only way to build muscle is to train your whole body. You will never see a significant increase in strength if you dont train everything

>>96687

i put on AWESOME gains on my upper body, completely neglecting my lower body...

Now I just squat

Have you ever seen Lady inthe Water? One of the characters in that movie is a scientist who uses his body as an experiment and only trains his right side. So his right quad, bicep, pec and other muscles are totally ripped and his left isde is twig skinny.

An scientist.

Okay, I can't believe no one has just said what I'm about to say.

1. Your idea is EXTREMELY stupid and you are simply not going to do this for the next following reason.

2. If you train ONE ARM MUSCLE, and not the other, you are making yourself more prone to heart attack. The arm with the muscle is going to be needing more blood, and it will put more strain on your heart to do something so unevenly. Your body is going to try and fight against this uneven symmetry because it causes so much imbalance, and not only will it be EXTREMELY hard to do this because of that, but if it IS done, you are pretty much putting yourself at a serious health risk. Don't be dumb.

Once again, I commend you on your superb trolling.

Can we sticky this shit? At least it is original content.

It'd just be the same as if he only had one arm and was training it...

Obviously this is a troll but it's not like he'd damage his heart.

OH HAI.

You didn't get a name/trip then? :( How did you get on?

>>96916

Exactly.. and if your legs are bigger than your arms your heart doesn't go insane.

How would your body fight your attempts to make one arm big anyway? I'm intrigued. Would it take control of your other arm and throw the weight out of your hand or something?
