Dr. Baron von Evilsatan
Let me tell you this. If you drink that stuff properly, like only have it while you're eating and wash your mouth out with water afterwards and use a straw and don't clean your teeth immediately after, then you will be fine. I had only a film of enamel left on my teeth after drinking it wrong and it has not worsened despite my nigh-comical overconsumption.
If you suck it over your teeth, drink it while your mouth is dry, and sip it over a period of time instead of drinking it quick, or swill it in your mouth, and never drink water after, it will rape your teeth mercilessly. Your enamel will be destroyed incredibly fast. Your front teeth will literally be eroded down. If you do this and grind your teeth, your teeth will end up ground down by entire millimetres within months. Do you know why construction workers have massive dental problems? Drinking soft drinks while working.
Also, I doubt there are any actually harmful chemicals in it, or at least in Pepsi Max. For three years at school I would drink a 1.25 litre bottle a day, and for the last two years it's been 4-6 cans a day and more on occasion. Frankly, if it was damaging in the slightest, I would be dead now.
