6' and 165 lbs - I want a good regimen to get my torso muscles and abs into better shape. I'm not to concerned with overall strength, I have no trouble at my job in a warehouse. Whats a good amount of situps and pushups to be starting at? I plan on doing different types of pushups to work my pecs and shoulders and whatnot. One of my buddies said to do those situps where you twist to one side to work the muscles under my arms too. I forget what they're called but w/e.

tl;dr - whats a good amount of reps to start at?
