Hey /fit/, what are some good carbs I can have as sides to balanced meals (serving of meat, plenty of raw veggies)?

I have two pounds of chana daal (lentils) but I don't want to get a million different Indian spices and spend four hours soaking them.

Ingredients that are available at a metro NYC area supermarket or even Whole Foods are a ++.

I really like pasta, rice & beans, Indian food, all that good stuff. I need a more nutritious carb as part of my lifestyle, though.

Chana Dal. Masoor Dal. Urad Dal. All good. Indian food is easy to cook if you are not a pussy.

Brown rice. Barley. Teff. Quinoa. QUINOA.
