melatonin yo it regulates your sleep cycle based on light.

Hence leave you blinds and shit all open to make your room nice and sunny in the morning and it will be easier to get up.

You're fucked.
Although I did read some fucked up shit one time, where some dude trained himself to get up early. It sounded like way too much work, but basically he classically conditioned himself to get up early.

He set up his bed and did everything he did as if he was going to bed (made his bed etc, whatever) set his alarm to 5 or 10 minutes later, and got up right away. Did that a fuckton of times, and was able to get up easy in the morning.

Mind over matter basically. Sounds like a big waste of time to me though.

lol, my alram is already set to 10 minutes ahead of what the actual time is.

cold shower would help, although I personally dont do that.
I have to get up at 6.30 during the week and at first I was tired throughout the week and felt pretty crap. Now after doing that for numerous years I'm tired on the weekends to so it doesn't feel so bad.

you didn't understand what he said, this guy did his wake-at-alarm habit repeatedly during the day and eventually it became natural for him to do it in the morning (and he stopped doing it during the day i imagine)

another thing is to get a fluorescent lamp (large one) to simulate daylight and have it set to one of those timers that goes between the plug of the lamp and the outlet. they turn on/off at set times everday. bam instant daylight during a certain time. set it to turn off 5 minutes after you (are supposed to) leave and you never even have to mess with turning it on/off

except on weekends? but im guessing you can find a digital one that will exclude certain days

i have the same problem and always late for my 1st period. Its all in your head, you know the day is going to be tiring. best thing to do is say youre just going to the bathroom to piss and will come back to bed and then walk into the shower

Had this same problem. My room mate used to always get me up for school (we were in the same classes) because I'd tell my alarm to fuck off.

My solution was to set a good song in the alarm function on my cell phone. Always got me motivated to get up.

Or you could just develop the willpower to throw your blanket off the second your alarm goes off and literally jump out of bed.

Slept through a midterm once, failed that class. Now I always wake up when I need to.
