to be honest the first thing I tried outside of the norm from boxers were a pair of boyshorts from ae that was designed for girls, as feminine guys were saying that nothing could compare to the softness of women's underwear. Well, I thought they were just bullshitting or so fucked in the mind that I wouldn't believe any of what they would say.
Until I tried them.
Jesus, soft and comfortable and just a slight stretch to them. Of course the fit was completely wrong and didn't hold my package, but the material was perfect. I then tried out women's thongs - which are okay, but again the fit was all wrong.
I then branched back to guy's stuff and have tried both thongs with different cuts and bikini briefs. I might wear a thong if I'm not going to anything or going anywhere important(not comfortable for long periods), but I go with briefs all the time now. I go one size bigger than the norm for me, and the comfortableness is amazing. I can get hardon's that don't feel uncomfortable as if it's sliding down my leg and just prolonging the problem. They hold the package quite nicely, even when running(fatty's beware - your thighs might rub together without boxers/shorts in between), and good material overall, depending on brand.
Really, you just gotta try.
