Lol, but seriously, is ther anyway? Will lifting weights(I already do) increase the sizes over time?

punch walls. I've been doing it for a few weeks and I can nearly hit a cement wall at full strength.

lol, but will they just grow in size as my muscle does?

Mind if I ask why would you wan to do that ? But still finger push-ups and grip training with caaptain of crush .

Anyone can hit a cement wall at full strength. The aftermath of your hand is the difference.

That doesnt make them bigger, it just gets you use to the pain

Enjoy your tiny fractures in your wrist.

No you cannot increase the size of your fingers. Hands tend to be very sinewy/tendonous and there is little muscle in the actual hand

I jsut find I have small fist for someone my height, and I would be able to do more damage in mma and boxing if my fist were a little bigger

big knuckles is a bad thing in fighting. it will cause your skin to stretch across them and break. i remember back in the day, people used to say that popping your knuckles would make them bigger. pretty sure that was bullshit, though.

It's all in the fingers.

doesn't a small fist have less surface area thus more pressure when you hit?

In MMA and Boxing you're wearing gloves over your fist therefore your fingers/hand/fist sizes are unrelated o the damage done and since the punching power mainly come from hip movement and your core the size of your fist doesn't really matter.

Sure a bigger fist can apply damage over a bigger area than a smaller fist but you can't do anything about your hand size.

punch bark/wood, hard books, cement

Can't really increase size, unless you get liek enormous amounts of callus on your hands.

There's barely any pure muscle in your hand, mostly tendons. Tendons don't grow like muscles do.

smaller area of impact with the same amount of pressure = more damage in a smaller area.

for MMA you have a gift, just get good at punching hard and accurate.

only way to get bigger hands is to get fat on them

Provided you've got a solid core to back up the punch, smaller hands would probably be a bonus if anything.

You might be losing out in the grappling stakes somewhat, but I figure being able to concentrate a punch on the smallest area possible is going to do the most damage.

Just keep hitting things... you bone will repair thicker and stronger... allowing you to strike with harder fists.
