/Fit/ I've been sick for the past week and continued working out and haven't gotten any better. Do I continue on as normal until it goes away or do I rest until it goes away?

Rest you fucking moron.

Thanks.

Not OP, but I'm sick also. Would it be productive to do some bodyweight activities, not enough to build more muscle, but enough to keep me from possibly losing any?

Also, is there any specific vitamins/minerals/stuff your body needs to fight sicknesses optimally?

Whoa, big fucking deal, a week without exercising will turn you in a fucking slob/skinny zombie.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay warm, AND GET PLENTY OF REST YOU IDIOTS. This is common sense that you should know by now.

repairing your muscles takes a toll on your immune system

so does being sick

If you continue your routine when you are sick , your body wont recover from your workout as fast seeing how your immune system is low, you wont have a full workout because you will tire easily and its better to rest these 3-4 days then to recover from working out + recover from your sickness = 1 week+?

Okay, say I worked out yesterday, still sore, but didn't realize I was sick until AFTER I worked out, will it take that much longer to repair them?

But as far as vitamins/minerals, is there anything I should get more of? Anything to help my immune system?
