I think this is a health question but I've been using moisturizers for a few years, starting from when my acne meds would dry out my skin. Acne issue resolved, but I continue to use lotions. One of the reasons I do this is because my mother and her dermatologist have told me that by using it, I can postpone the aging effects on the face (wrinkles etc.) I don't buy it, but the spf in the lotion I use keeps me using it. WAT DOES FIT THINK?
tldr; will daily use of moisturizers combat skin aging later on?

Possibly? I saw this show where they had a 78 year old who still had suprisingly good face. Most 79 year old women, their face is litterally melting off. Her's look very similar to her younger day. She made good use of moisturizers, though in her words "anything that kept the moisture in."

Though she was a model, so genetics might be the bigger factor.

However, anything past casual sun exposure dramatically accelerates aging of the skin. All these bitches that use tanning beds are in for a world of hurt when 35 years old comes around....

They're right. Keep at it. SPF is essential to protecting skin anyways, so you have all the gain by using it.

My skin dries quite a bit after a shower. What kind of moisturizer product should I use?
I should avoid stuff with alcohol right? Water as the main ingredient can't be a quality product either. Anything else I should take into account?
