Hi /fit/I'm a skinny guy, been that way all my life and for a long time I've tried to gain weight to no avail.I'm 21 at the moment, 6'4, 70kg or 154 pounds.I've tried eating as much as I can as regularly as I can but it does nothing. The food I eat is pretty healthy, my mother being a health freak.I don't do much exercise, since I figured this would prevent me from gaining weight, but I've been doing various martial arts for many years and recently I've been training more.It doesn't have to be muscle weight, just getting a layer of fat on my would be ok.Any tips? >>3339Basically what Anon said; eat as much as you possibly can of healthy fat and protein rich foods, don't do cardiovascular workouts if you can help it, and take up something more like weight-lifting to help stay healthy/strong and hopefully grow a bit bigger

OP here:I need good cardio to fight well (for any period of time), gaining weight will make me a better fighter (my light weight is my main disadvantage) but it cannot come at the cost of gassing 3 minutes into a fight.Is there no way to gain weight without sacrificing cardio?
