About how many calories are burned from a 2 hour bike ride?

est 10-14 mph avg speed. 20-28 miles covered. on a scale of 1-10 in hardness i'd say 7/8 depending on parts.

OP: 220 lbs 6'6 and I have moderate muscle from 7 months of weight training.

NOT AS MUCH AS RUNNING, GET THE FUCK OFF THE BIKE AND GO ON A RUN. FUCKING I SWEAR GET SOME DETERMINATION IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE FAT ANYMORE. BIKING = EASY MODE. IF ITS HARDER DO IT, NEVER TAKE THE SHORT OR THE EASY WAY, THE REASON BIKES ARE TRANSPORTATION IS THEY MAKE IT EASIER TO MOVE AROUND. YOU DON'T WANT EASY, YOU WANT MOTHER FUCKIN HARD MODE. I SUGGEST YOU GET EXTORDENARLY PISSED OFF BEFORE YOU TRY RUNNING. I WOULD SUGGEST YOU THINK ABOUT WHAT A WORTHLESS FUCK YOU ARE, ALWAYS TRYING TO TAKE THE EASY WAY OUT, LIKE KEKE BIKE RIDE LOL.

I read that bikes are good for weight loss and running is good for cardio.

running gets my heart rate up much higher, besides I cant run the whole time, I spend about 30% of the jogging time walking while I catch mah breath/relax a cramp

SO YOUR TRYING TO TELL ME YOUR GOING TO LOSE MORE WEIGHT BY SOMETHING THAT YOU CAN DO CONTINUOUSLY FOR 2 HOURS RATHER THAN SOMETHING THAT IS SO DIFFICULT YOU CAN ONLY DO IT IN BURSTS?

well yeah, that's how it works.

the latter is better for cardio.

My google foo turned up this calculator.

you need to know your Vo2 max or it will use a default guess based on your age.
When biking do NOT focus on distance, focus on time in saddle and how hard you went. Cyclist train hours per week not miles. The serious guys use a power meter to gage intensity. If you are cheap like me then use a heart rate monitor. They cost 50 bucks.
Also running is better for cardio. It is hard to hold a high BPM while riding a bike.
