I need help, /fit/

I'm desperate. I'm 5'2(.75!)and weigh 136lbs.
I've been trying to lose 20-25lbs as long as I can remember.

During the year, I go to the gym whenever I can. Since the end of June, I've been going to the gym 4-5 times per week. Cardio three times for an hour, treadmill for the rest of the week, one hour each time.

I eat fast food 2-3 times per month and although I don't really put any food off limits, I eat small servings because I get bored with food quickly. I drink tea and water, soda very rarely.

The first week, I went to my doctor for a check up and the next week I was in for some inexplicable rash and at that time she noted that I had lost three pounds. I haven't lost ANYTHING since despite increasing exercise by going to the gym 5-6 times a week.

What can I do? What am I doing wrong?

Possible troll. But whatever:
- Don't eat fast food AT ALL. Only eat healthy food and healthy drinks (NO alcohol)
- Do HIIT on days that you don't go to the gym
- Get a proper workout for the gym

Why go to the gym to use a treadmill? Treadmills are terrible, just run outdoors.

How old are you, and are you male or female?

I take a cardio kickboxing class. Does that sound okay?

Treadmills make me less miserable because I can run while tuning into divorce court or dumb shit like that.

can eating fast foot as rarely as I do really make that much of an impact? I mean, there must be more to my gigantic plateau.

136lbs at 5'2" is NOT too fat to be doing HIIT. Moron.

1. start counting your calories
2. compare to the consumption
3. keep calorie intake sufficiently under consumption
4. avoid starvation mode
5. ???
6. profit!

I think its time you left. Whether or not she is "too fat" is irrelevant, since you seem to think HIIT solves everything i would assume you know that it comes down to your fitness. Perhaps i was wrong.

Get out.

She should be eating at a 500-1000 calorie deficit. Honestly, if you're doing that, it doesn't matter if you do steady state or HIIT, you're going to lose weight.

HIIT is nice, but it's not nearly as mandatory as some of you people seem to think it is.

Reading these:

These threads come up at least 10 times a day, it's tedious to go through it and give people the same response. More importantly reading these and knowing the basics of how your body functions and reacts to foods is more important than any diet/exercise plan given here.

Keep track of calorie consumption. Do some cardio. Do some strength training (muscle needs more calories than fat to sustain itself, you will increase your metabolism).
