Push ups, sit ups, jogging/walking/cycling, maybe find a sports league in your area so it's less monotonous if just running isn't your thing. But you should try to do 30 minutes of cardio 4-5 times a week.
- Cut simple carbs, replace with complex carbs. (ex: Brown rice instead of white rice, wheat instead of white bread, etc) - Avoid starchy foods, or just cut your intake. - drink water - lose the soda, energy drinks, alcohol, etc. - Cut overall carbs in half, but do not eliminate them. - Avoid any fatty foods, eat less red meat. Chicken and fish are good protein sources, along with nuts.
- Eat several times a day, but make the meals small. If you're looking to lose weight, it actually makes sense to eat less, but more times during the day. It will kick start your metabolism. Try eating 200 calorie meals 6-7 times a day. Avoid having really large meals, especially after 7PM, but a light protein snack, maybe a couple tablespoons of peanut butter or half a cup of low-fat cottage cheese, an hour before bed will keep you going as you sleep.
There's no easy trick to healthy weight loss. There's still no option that works better than a combination of proper diet and exercise.
