Not really, I've got a bit of excess skin but it's been going down with all of the toning training I've been doing.
>> Anonymous
I quit driving and started biking everywhere. The biking ended this week Monday because of the first snowfall. Now my friend and I are training for his Army entry on February 4th by jogging on a track every night.

We've started with just a half a mile at a time with a quarter mile walk in between each segment. After 2 miles of jogging we head down and start push ups, sit ups, 8 count body builders, leg lifts, and whatever else keeps our heart rates up.

Losing weight is simple guys, it just takes a lot of dedication. I also changed what I ate. I started eating fairly healthy with breaks each week to get something nice to eat. On the break nights I wouldn't go overboard but I'll allow myself some fast food (Subway or a place that sells pitas is really great) or head out to a restaurant. You just need to keep at it.

toning training

GET THE FUCK OUT

Other than that, you still look a bit fat. I would suggest cutting a bit more and then bulking like crazy. Then you can cut as needed.

Any diet plan, or regime?

Or just generally eating healthy and counting calories, etc?
>> Anonymous
>>446692

Godlike troll? Don't work out with weights, so resistance training. Weights will add muscle but you need to maintain it. I work a really busy schedule so in the future I may not be able to do this. So I do push-ups and sit-ups and everything to tone up, not build muscle and then lose it.

Diet plan: I just keep it to under 1500 a day on the low exercise days and 2000 on the high workout days. All you've got to do is buy low-fat stuff like turkey dogs and applesauce. I also like getting the 100-calorie packs.

Oh I know I've got to get a bit more tightened up. But I've just been working so hard that I just wanted to post this.

Well I'm around the same weight as you were, right now, maybe a little more, by 10Ibs or so. I think I'm going to stick to around the same thing you did. Although I don't have the facilities to tone or lift weights due to the high cost of gym membership, but I do own a recumbent exercise bike. Which I suppose is better than nothing.

How long did it take you to lose that weight?

this thread is halarious!!

It took about 6 months when I got serious. The first ten pounds is easy.

I was biking outside because I really like the view. Even in the rain and excessive winds, I kept on biking. After a while I was able to go for as long as I wanted. Right now we just got our first snowfall of the season this week so now I'm starting to run.

But biking is definitely the way to go. Just watch what you eat too. A big thing is that I completely quit drinking soda. And I mean completely. I don't drink it anymore; that alone cuts out a whole ton of calories.

Get some 5 calorie lemonade or water with your meals. Also, I put bell peppers and pickles instead of mayonnaise on my sandwiches. They also have 35 calorie per slice bread which is great. A normal slice of bread is 80 calories, so this pretty much cuts your sandwiches in half.

Including diet soda?

Tell me more about this bread, I live in the UK though so I don't know what the availability would be like.

Well thanks. I really haven't got the time to be doing a whole lot of weights. Although, I did go out and buy 2 20 pound weights in order to start working out my arms and back.

It was an old clock. Really nicely made but unfortunately the winding mechanism broke.

>>446756

Diet soda is alright but don't drink it all the time. It really slows you down if you have that replace everything. At least that's what I found. I'll drink it if I know for a fact I won't be working out in the next 3 hours.

Because he's a cardio bunny that doesn't see the long term benefits of real exercise. Also, TONE TONE TONE.
>> Anonymous
>>446772

Honestly, I really don't like real exercise. I just exchanged biking and walking for driving and I lost close to 100 pounds. Most people think you need to work out like crazy and stuff; me, I just started biking to my destinations, even work.

>> Anonymous
>>446778
i agree. i dont see whats wrong with simple fitness oriented exercise. I understand if you have a certain goal such as increasing a deadlift or squating more than yes you have to work for that.

but the average person who just wants to stay fit doesnt need to do more than pushups, pullups, ab exercises and 30-45 minutes of cardio every day.
>> Anonymous
>>446786

Crap, sorry about that. They sell it at the local Wal-Mart here. It's bread that's 35 calories a slice. It's called something like "Whole Wheat Lo-Cal 35 Calorie Bread". Try a really big mart or a food store that specializes in healthy food.

>>446790
the truth.

i wish most of the people on this board could just understand that.
>> Anonymous
also, you dont look like shit like other people are saying. that's what a fit person should look like. all the fit fags on here pretend they have body builder like physiques or are good enough to be a model but i think what you look like is healthy. You can fit into clothes, look good in a suit and not worry about being shirtless.

i say all of this because that is what i look like. sure it owuld be nice to be cut or be jacked but quite frankly, i dont see any other reason to do all of that work other than to say "wow i look more cut and muscular"
>> Anonymous
>>446788

I'd be the weird looking dude.
>> Anonymous
>>446797

I've never been comfortable taking shirtless pictures until now. I've also been building more muscles because I've been getting into some fighting programs lately. It's a lot of fun and I can let off steam really easily doing it. That's the only incentive for me to build a lot of muscle though. And even then, it's more lean muscle than anything else.
>> Anonymous
>>446797
you think
>>446673

looks healthy or attractive at all?

i lold
>> Anonymous
>>446808
well there is no such thing as "lean muscle"..you just dont have alot of it and have low body fat so it gives you that "lean" or "toned" look.

but i hear ya. I'd rather have that "toned" look. i know im gonna get a bunch of fit fags raging about that one lol
>> Anonymous
>>446778
I probably spend less time lifting weights than you do on cardio.

However, my gains are long term as the muscle gained provides a permanent increase in my metabolism as long as I eat well enough to maintain it.

The benefit of your hours of cardio end immediately.

Read Tom Venuto's burn the fat feed the muscle if you want to learn more, but who am I kidding, you'll just keep doing your cardio and then become fat again when you get to lazy to keep up with it.

>>446818

I don't feel bad about posting here. I know I've got a bit to go but to be honest, I've come so far that it feels good to show it off a bit. Yea, I've still got some muscle to build and yea, I've still got a bit of fat left. But 100 pounds later I'm feeling really good.
>> Anonymous
>>446814
well you see, what i see there is reality.

where as you probably are in your 15 year old mind thinking about hwo everyone should look like frank zane and im sure you stand in front of the mirror and think you look like frank zane as well.

but its okay ,as you get older you will realize how wrong you are.

enjoy being a fitness nut to the extreme while you can. once you get older, you wont have 4 hours a day to run around and pretend you're a professional athlete.

>>446821

99 cents a pound. And yea, you just need to find exercises that utilizes every muscle with them.
