Pubic hernia knowing_anus !hWqSMG2zUc
So i my surgeon told me that my pubic hernia is nothing serious, but still offered me surgery. And that's what frightened me. He told me that they anesthetize by inserting something into the spinal cord and i stop feeling shit from my belly button down.

Have any of you had this kind of surgery.

tell him to fucking put you to sleep. you don't want to be awake for that.

having something injected or taken out of your spinal cord feels like being punched in the gut only in your spine. It's a sickening feeling. just tell them to knock you out.

the doc told that he had this done to him a few time and it only sounds scary.

he's the doctor, not a fucking sadist, isn't he?

it's not because he's a sadist it's because he doesn't want you to be afraid
same as when you take a small child to the doctor to get a vaccine you don't say that the needle hurts
you say that he won't even feel it, which is clearly a lie

yeah doctors pretty much describe everything as "a slight pinch" or "some discomfort" or the perennial favourite "slight pressure" but it really means "this might be nothing or it might be a 45 minute kick in the nuts or it might be shards of glass directly into your spine"

isn't that basically the same thing they give to women who have a c-section?
