I usually get bored doing my usual on the treadmill, so there was this kind of running exercise I saw in a mixed martial arts magazine a month ago and for the life of me I can't remember what it's called.I do remember that its a combination of running/walking/jogging. You run for about a quarter of the track, jog/walk some, then you sprint it out at the last leg before walking back.Sorry if it sounds like mad jibberish but hopefully its enough. Anyone got a clue what I'm talking about?
Wind sprints?
H.I.I.T.?High Intensity Interval Training.
That could be any method of interval running. Either HIIT, Tabata, or just sprints followed by rest periods (like resting between sets of lifts). All of them are good.
