Im looking to signifigantly improve my jumping ability in everyway, vertical etc... what exercises/drills would /fit/ suggest to improve my jumping ability?

op again =/ irrelevant but im kinda new to the whole lifting and building scene, your gonna lol but what are those muscles that look like the wings when someone spreads their arms out? what exercises can I do to enhance those?

pull ups, barbell lows, lat pulls

op: ive basically been conditioning to start an mma career, I love fitness and ive been training for quite some time. July 30th will be my one year aniversary of exercising :D started at 210 and Im currently sitting at 175. What I really need to improve on is my whole arm strength so I can esaily control peoples arms when doing jits without them overpowering me. Any suggestions?
