Jumping sauce needed
ok, here's the deal.
i have a mid year break from school coming up soon and i want to dedicate it to improving my vertcial leap/jump significantly and core strength as well as losing some weight. Does anyone know like a long list of exercises i can pick and choose from which will help me improve these assets?

op here,
15, 6 foot tall, strong legs (i have done 300 pounds on a 45 degree leg press once, but i dont do that much weight on a regular basis)
i can get like my fingers above a 10 foot ring, but my goal is to dunk by the end of th year. i have heard losing weight and strengthing my core would be good for my jump since my legs are relatively strong already

also, i have jumpsoles, ankle weights and a skipping rope if that helps at all

throw all of that away

The problem with vert training is that it is pretty complicated, My personal advice would be to focus on heavy weights(squat dl power clean) for a few months and then correctly implementing a four week plyo cycle. This is not easy stuff, just the plyo alone is to complicated to properly guide someone through on the internet. Have a look at the scientific training works from the old soviet, their knowledge of shock training was better then that what you will find in American/rest of Europe sport science today
