hey /fit/ I was wondering... what is the best way to get rid of manboobs? I've been doing pushups and curls but nothing is really working fast enough for my liking. I also changed my entire diet, and totally removed pop.

Oops, hit submit too soon lol.

Also, I was wondering if there was a quicker way to lose weight while maintaining my health still, or maybe even improving it. I've only lost about 2 pounds and it's been 6 weeks, I'm getting very discouraged.

strength training does not burns little to no fat, it builds muscle.

you need to burn more calories than you intake by doing...guess what...cardio!

running, biking, jump rope, etc. you need to sweat a lot, for a long time, to get rid of the manboobs.

Are you doing cardio? At all?

you should be doing cardio regardless of a need to lose weight.

Maybe after college I can get a good paying job and save up. Until then, I'll be wearing jackets and hoodies everywhere

Thanks. I've actually been thinking of taking Judo, unless you can suggest a better / more fun / more useful martial art.

>>The problem is that it's difficult building muscle while losing weight, unless you're an exceptionally fat fuck, so you must decide if you need to lose weight through dieting and cardio training, or if you want to build muscle to increase the energy your body needs. If you choose the latter, it will take more time, but it's healthier and you won't look frail and skinny.

i believe that if he rationalises his diet he will change body compostition (not loose weight) a lot faster if he lifts. protein synthesis can occur even with caloric restriction so there is no reason why he can't do both anyway.

the stomach band might be a better solution for a fat person.
