The things you hear in Your head Anonymous
hey /fit/.

Back when I was in highschool, I ran track for 3 years, and whenever I would be running around my neighborhood or in my gym, I would always imagine Samuel L. Jackson was talking to me inside my head, saying motivational things in his unique way. things like

"this is only your third lap, You tired already!"
"Mile 3 here we go baby!"
"These first miles do nothing for you, its the burn of mile 4 that will make you better"

Has anyone ever done something like this? I think it helped but I don't want to be seen as a crazy person..

you know thats a pretty good idea OP... when I'm running I usually try to listen to music and "zone out" on the music alone. I think I may start the Sam L Jackson. "YOU TIRED MUTHAFUCKA? OH YOUR LEGS ARE BURNING? YOU'RE ACTING LIKE A BITCH RIGHT NOW."

Was watching some show on Discovery. They had a guy who karate chops cement blocks. He destroyed moar when he yelled than when he was quiet.

It's kind of like a cue to your body.
