Dear /fit/

I am on a fat loss/weight loss diet. My caloric intake is 1600-1800 (maintain weight would be 2100), except for days that I have binged (which is, usually, once a week). I have been dieting since the middle of January and I haven't been dropping weight.

Starting in January, I was like 25% BF and 126lbs. Now I am spilling over the 130 line, with like... 18-19% BF (which I understand is due to lifting). It's hard to tell exactly because I can't grab the fat on my thigh with my calipers.

Anyway, the problem is that with this gained weight, my dreaded double chin is slowly coming back, even though I have dropped Body Fat. Is there something wrong with my body? (Female, 5'3)

You sure that double chin is actually fat, or just loose skin? Anyway, lift more, do jaw exercises.

what does your diet include?

Muscle weighs more than fat. You might've converted fat to muscles even though it would seem kinda strange with that calorie intake. Anyway, stop lifting and do cardio instead. Start lifting after.

think before you binge. and holy shit, lower your calorie intake. I'm 5'9, run 5+ miles everyday, and don't even eat that much.

5+ miles means nothing without a time frame, i was walking 15-20 miles a day at work for 3-4 months and i didn't lose a pound.

fail

Eat 2000 calories a day spread out throughout the day into 6 small meals and do some high intensity interval training, which is basically sprinting as fast as possible for say 30 seconds, then jogging for a minute or two, then sprinting again for around 15 minutes.

The small meals spread out the day will increase your metabolism and stop your body from storing fat. Suddenly reducing the amount of food you eat causes your body to store more fat in order to compensate.

Also isn't 18% for a female low anyway? Show me your titties.

18% isn't bad for a female
