As far as fruits and vegetables go, eat a shit ton, and eat a variety. Fruits do have sugar in them, so you can overeat them. Try to aim for 3 servings a day. An example would be an apple with breakfast, a banana around noon, and maybe an orange a few hours before you go to bed.
As far as vegetables, the same thing applies with variety. The thing is though, is that most of the dark leafy vegetables (lettuce, broccoli) are so calorie light that you would have to eat mega-shitton amounts to get a lot of calories.
