the morning after pill is ALWAYS a last resort only--it stops ovulation (release of the egg from the ovary, dumbfag) from occuring, so that potential feterlization might not happen.
If ovulation already happened, it does nothing.
It is not in any way "just like the pill"--the pill you are on 25 days of active hormones, and it prevents ovulation of ever happening--but it must be taken at the SAME TIME EVERY DAY.
OP, my guess is that your girl was new to to pill, got nauseous for a few days and quit. Tell her to get back on and stay with it-the nausea goes away pretty soon, and then doesn't come back. It's just they body's way of adjusting to the hormones...if she has problems with it, she can simply go back to the doctor and get put on another kind.
Another route to go, which I'll be getting soon, is Implanon- a chip implanted in your arm, it's 99% effective and lasts for three years. Hell yes.
