Hey /fit/, anyone know why when I first stand up I get incredibly dizzy and sometimes find it hard to stay up without holding on to something?

Am I missing something from my diet, perhaps? Or is this something serious? It goes away after about 10 seconds, and has only just started happening (about a few days ago it started).

Well it's normal.

sometimes it can be dehydration and other problems, but everyone has it. Some tips to stop being dizzy+blacking out, would be to flex your stomach muscles when you get up or cough. This makes the blood pressure move else where and stops dizzyness.

Also, being dizzy when you stand up can also be low blood pressure.

What's wrong with having a medical checkup? You're supposed to have one every year. What's so hard about going to get one done insted of asking this board?

Still, try it out. You'll probably have luck.
