Off days don't mean do exercise on them too many threads with

"I do HITT on my off days"
"I do Weights on my off days"

They aren't off days if your exercising.

Rest days are needed so you can recover from the previous workout and grow.

Doing curlz ever day for example wont make your arms big your just overtrain and fuck yourself up even more.

tl;dr off days/rest days are mean't for rest not more exercises faggots.

What's wrong with doing HIIT on your off days exactly?

Is there anything wrong with taking pills so you sleep like 22 hours on your sleep days?

(With eating periods inbetween so no catabolism ofc.)

Just benzos.

not enough blood flow. This is just my hypothesis, but from what i've read and from the classes i've taken, i would say that too much sleep will create less than desireable results.

And sleeping that long will leave you tired, so enough if it does yield better results, you're missing out on alertness for your next workout.

And you're missing out on a day. The point of weight training is to be productive, that's something you should learn from it. It's something you should apply to the rest of your life to make something of yourself, and if you sleep a day you haven't learned or applied anything.

Doing heavy squats then the next day doing HIIT not a good thing.

And since most of /fit/ say do starting for strength thats 3x squats a week, when exacty will your legs rest if you do HIIT on your off days?
