What would /fit/ recommend I eat for breakfast that won't leave me hungry an hour later? I usually eat a bowl of Cheerios, but within the next hour I'm STARVING TO DEATH.

Specific food recommendations would be awesome.

Also, is there anything that isn't a million calories that I can put on/eat with celery for snacks so it doesn't feel like I'm eating crunchy water sticks?

16 oz Omaha ribeye steak with three scrambled eggs and four strips of bacon.

I usually supplement my cereal with a banana, but oatmeal is good because the complex carbs keep you from getting hungry as they take longer to break down. As to the celery, I suggest a LITTLE peanut butter because it's good flavoring (though a lot of people put too much on it, you don't need much to get the flavor) and it has good protein.

Hard boiled eggs!

And a piece of fruit.

My breakfast is oatmeal with a banana, yogurt, and some honey mixed in. Also, OJ, grapes, and coffee.

I second this.

You'll have to get up earlier to prepare a proper breakfast, but its worth it.

My breakfast is usually 2 scrambled eggs, 1 slice of American cheese, one of those Starkist tuna pouches, a banana, and 1 tablespoon of all-natural peanut butter.
Maybe some parmesan cheese for a little flavor.

Btw, the peanut butter and banana is not mixed with the tuna, eggs, and cheese. Thought I'd clear that up.

I usually have a double serving of oatmeal (1 cup) and put some splenda brown sugar mix.. like twenty calories a tsp.. usually put a teaspoon or two in.. so between 300-350 calories and it keeps me full till the afternoon

Start off with your calves, then work your way up to your thighs. Delicious

red split lentils with salt in water with heat. simmers in 5 minutes. slow release energy is much better than the fast release kinds like cheerios

....Lentils,.. for breakfast? That does not sound very appetizing.

I wake up at six, make a double serving of kashi Go Lean oatmeal, and a solid sized piece of fruit, like a nice orange or a pink lady apple. Holds me till about nine, where I'll have a whole wheat bagel and a thing of skim milk. Going healthy is the best thing schools have ever done.

One egg and cheese and organic ketchup (no HFCS) on a whole wheat muffin, some spoonfuls of cottage cheese, a banana, and whatever fruit you wanna mix with the cottage cheese. And some orange juice.

Keeps me moving.

just don't eat god damn eggs every day. it's an alternative source natural protein. add anything to that.

Please elaborate.

Aside from the cholesterol associated with egg yolks, why shouldn't I eat them every day?
>> Anonymous
Cholesterol from food doesn't harm your body. It just turns into excess bile. It's sat. fat that hurts you.
Ask any entry level biologist or nutritionist about it.

So you say cholesterol doesn't hurt you, but it turns into something that hurts you.
How is that not cholesterol hurting you?

Bile is excreted from the body during digestion.

something is fucking with your insulin. stop eating so many carbs for breakfast, stick to fats and proteins. basically, whole eggs.

>>86682
this isn't actually true. well not for all people anyway. i had the problem where i would eat 1 1/2 cups (dry volume) of oatmeal for breakfast and would be hungry one hour later. like painfully so. shit to do with carb intolerence and insulin levels.

i have up to 8 whole eggs a day. don't even worry about it.

At first I was like... WTF GB2/b/ TROLL!

Then I was like... oh, OP didn't specify it had to be healthy or reasonable

So finally I was like... OH LOL YOU WIN 10 INTERNETS

Also for celery sticks, dip them in ground beef dip. Works wonders.

i had a cup of steamed broccoli and carrots. i'm fine. be stronger. water makes a good snack too.
>> The Dark One !UYklPQPVhw
My typical breakfast:

4 eggs, fried using cooking spray
1/2 c fat-free cheddar cheese (I like melted cheese in my eggs)
1 c Quaker Weight Control oatmeal (some extra protein to supplement the eggs and cheese)

i've taken to making lunch type foods for breakfast... like a turkey sandwich or a baked chicken breast w/ broccoli or something. then again i don't really eat until a few hours after i wake up, so i don't know how appetizing that would be if you're an early eater

I heard this guy totally thought eggs were the best superfood ever. completely balanced perfectly for the zone diet. so he ate them every day like crazy. Like six for breakfast or something. He did this for months. And getting into it he built up a severe allergic reaction to them. Inflammation in the neck, couldn't breathe, had to go to the hospital. He gets it all out of his system. Takes weeks off. The body has had time to get all traces of eggs out. Then he touches a bit of cake icing by accident. it floors him

unfortunately I don't know the source and recalling the details is murky from last year. I've heard it health college classes. vary your protein sources. Take breaks from proteins for a few days a week. don't just eat the same protein source every god damned day forever and ever.

Took him like six months to be able to reintroduce a little bit of egg back into his diet.
