i have an exercise bike i don't use but maybe 4chan can help me out. 280 right now, but tall. i was 205-215 a few years ago.

what's a good plan for starting on the bike? how many times a week? how long? what about dieT? i'm cutting back the cokes big time, but i'm not really sure what to eat. just point me to a good site if you want for the diet stuff.

goal is just to lose weight for now. tone up later. i guess.

You should probably eat less when you do it too, that way you won't build muscle mass.

Also try gouging out bits of fat with a knife.

try going for the interval or random setting for at least a half hour most days. the nice thing about bikes is that you can easily watch tv/movies/music/audiobooks while using them. it may get tough around te 15 minute mark, but power through it and focus on the entertainment instead.

also, definitely cut back on your food intake. Gaining 70 lbs in a few years shows poor food choice and very poor portion control. But I only know because I was there once :)
