/fit/Should I consider eating putting beef jerky as a snack in between my meals? All the beef jerky I've tasted in bag or home made taste really salty and rarely fills me. If it wasn't high in protein I wouldn't have even thought about it.
you're overlooking the calories from fat, which is probably over what you should be consuming in one serving
It's an excellent source of protein, would be good if you made it yourself instead of eating pure salt which is commercial jerky.
>>328676What he said. Alton Brown (of Good Eats fame) has a good recipe for jerky, but I can't be arsed to find it for you.
>>328675>fat>beef jerkylolno
>>328675fail. beyond trans fats theres nothing scary about fat. also the amount you eat in one serving isnt a problem except for carbs which can cause huge insulin spikes. and theres is virtually no fat in beef jerky.
>>328771sure tell me about it if you're still there anon
