how do I prevent my shin area from tightening up before cardio..

any stretch I have tried hasnt helped, can anyone help me

sounds like compartment syndrome again.

if it's compartment syndrome, you have only two solutions:
1. stop doing cardio
2. surgery

sucks. I had compartment syndrome, I got surgery, and I have lived to regret it.

i think thats a little extreme of a diagnosis

some times it happens some times it doesnt. i think it might have to do with how warmed up i am....

any stretches that I can do to make sure it doesnt happen?

You need to warm up longer. 15 mins. doesn't warm up your body everytime.

A good way to make sure you body is warmed up is to warm it up with a hot shower.

Then your warm up, then streching, cardio and cool down with more streching would be ideal But what ever time you can afford.
