Traps? How does one build them?

shrugs, heavy deadlifts, any of the olympic movements, cleans etc. Upright rows if you are bullet proof.

Personaly i stick to shrugs.
They will build your traps quick, just use heavy weights. And do it until you litterally cannot move them anymore.

Shrug slow, constantly flexing your traps as you lift, focus on keeping them flexed until your shoulders touch your ears. Then back down slowly, keeping your traps constantly flexed.

If your not maxed in 3 reps, go heavier.

I think that you need around 5-7 reps to really feel the traps, sets of 3 seem to be more of an ego boost than anything

I usually max at one set of 3 reps of front/back and dumbell shrugs. After this i could barely lift my shoulders. Traps are dense heavy muscle that need heavy weights to see any effects.
