18 year old, 5"10, 300 pounder, here.

what is the best way to measure my peformance on a stationary exercise bike, is time spent on the bike + my average heart rate OK? and if so, how high should I keep my heart rate at without giving me a mother fucking heart attack due to my epic fatness?

or should i just be aiming for certain speeds? and distances?

Aim for around 200BPM, you'll be fine. If you get chest pains it's just your heart adjusting to the exercise.

Stop bumping every five seconds. This isnt /b/.

Just focus on dropping some weight before you worry too much about anything else.

Cut 300-500 calories from your BMR and do a couple sets of 20 minutes on the bike with a short break in between, 4 times a week. You'll start dropping weight pretty fast.

Measure your performance in pounds. If 20 minutes starts getting easy, bump it up to 25... and so on.

about the calories thing, just 300-500 calories in general, or should i just cut all carbs except oatz?

Wake up.

Drink coffee and water.

20 - 40 minutes of light cycling.

OATZ.

Rest of the day: No more carbs, only a moderate amount of fat, and lots of protein.
