so my goal was to gain muscle and I did, gym 4 days a week only weight lifting 0 cardio.
and I did gain muscle but I got some fat too that wasn't there before.

is this common when bulking?
should I start doing some cardio or stick too it till I reach my goal?

i dont like this fat it feels nasty

Yes, its common, though some put on a little too much fat and not enough muscle. Just stick it out, its relatively easy to cut the fat once you reach your goal after all.
