Hey /fit/ What is considered a good breakfast? What do you usually have for breakfast?
>> Anonymous
I think I've written this before:

4 slices of bacon
4 breakfast sausages
4 eggs
4 waffles (with maple syrup)
1 apple
1 orange/mandarin
.75L tea (.250L of which is milk)

Not particularly healthy, but god damn is it good.

If i'm in a hurry, I'll have a can of Primo or Campbell's soup with a bagel or bread roll.

An orange dipped into cottage cheese mixed with Special K or Curves cereal. Delicious, good for you, and keeps you filled until lunch.

That is an insane amount of food to consume in the early hours.

most days - a glass of fat free milk w/ a banana

ideally i would also add a bowl of bran cereal with dried cranberries and almonds

cereal and fat free milk or a protein bar of some sort..I try to limit it to 200-300 calories

One of these combos, usually:

- 2 regular eggo waffles w/ butter & syrup, 5 morningshire farms soy sausages links, a grapefruit, glass of skim milk, cup of coffee w/ cream & sugar

- cinnamon raisin bagel w/ cream cheese, deli ham browned on the burner for like 30 secs, orange, milk, coffee

- 2-4 pieces of french toast w/ cinnamon & sugar sprinkled on, browned ham, fruit smoothie, coffee (I REALLY like french toast and smoothies but am usually too lazy to make them)

- 2 fried or scrambled eggs, 5 soy sausage links, some grapes, 1 or 2 pieces of toast w/ crunchy peanut butter, glass of O.J., coffee

Shit like fruit is obviously mix and match, but most days breakfast is some variation above.

I usually have to force-feed in the mornings; I'm never hungry after I wake up. Mostly I eat granola bars. They're cheap, simple and inoffensive.

It's actually better to have the largest meal of the day in the morning, I just saw a tv show where this chick went from being massive to being normal sized by reversing her meals.

I forgot to add the baked beans.

But I really like starting my day like this. I have a lot of energy for the rest of the day and basically all I need to do is top up with snacks all day and then have a slightly smaller dinner.

I went ten years without eating breakfast, so for a while eating before ten made me sick. Now I've gradual made my way up to one egg on toast with an orange and tea, but I'm also fairly sedentary so that's all the energy I need.

Generally I'd say high protein and sugar makes for a good breakfast because of the energy it gives you.

special k protein plus cereal, vanilla soy milk, light OJ
>> Somewhat !rK4K86e49M
today i had a round crisp bread with around 20 cm radius, spread some sourcream onto it, sliced up three hardboiled eggs and spread it evenly over it, sliced up a tomato on top and sprinkled some italian salad seasoning on top. ate with a big glass of water.

this was seven hours ago now and i haven't felt the least bit hungry.

You need lean protein for breakfast.
This will keep your blood sugar stable until lunch.

GOOD BREAKFAST FOODS:
eggs
turkey (white meat)
steak (lean, do not eat the fat)
fish
whey protein shake
lite cheese

Save oranges for dinner!

Oranges are very good for you.
Oranges are also very good for spiking your blood sugar.

You want to save stuff like that for the evening.

Eat an apple in the morning, the fiber will keep you full.

Usually I have a delicious bowl of Quaker maple and brown sugar oatmeal, with skim milk. It's that weight loss oatmeal, so there's lots of protein and fiber.

Or, I'll have a nice bowl of special K, once again with skim milk. This morning I decided to mix oatmeal and cereal together and it was really good.

Also, I sometimes try to incorporate some fruit into my breakfasts.

I normally just eat a bowl of Bran Flakes with raisins or sultanas put in, as well as milk obviously.
However on weekends and days I don't get up early I won't eat breakfast seeing as it's either 10-12pm and I wouldn't be hungry for lunch then.

What the hell are people eating.. No wonder america is a country of fat twats.

1 slice of coarse bread with a cut up banana
1 glass of orange juice

Lunch: same stuff, only with cheese/jam whatever.

Dinner: meat. only pure meat fillets. Potatoes or rice. No gravy.

NO food after 19:00.
