Why is HIIT not an answer?
I'm not asking solely to push HIIT . . . but because understanding why HIIT isn't an answer could also help us help you.
To answer the question simply, an hour a day is good exercise and will burn fat . . . but not nearly as efficiently as many other routines. Hell, I could burn more calories/fat with just 15 minutes a day, probably 3x as many calories.
