Hello /fit/, I am trying to get myself into shape. I have a bit of flub on me, so I'm wanting to get nice and toned yet not overly muscular. I am male, 5'3, and 118lbs.

I worked out yesterday for 1 hour, focusing on abs, thighs, glutes, triceps, shoulders, and chest. I also did a good amount of running for cardio to melt the fat. Today I am sore as hell.

One of my questions is, do I continue to work out today being sore, or do I wait a day? How does that work? I haven't worked out in a long time, so I am just starting.

Any tips, advice (other than SQUATZ, I'm already doing them and lunges lol), diet plans (I understand lots of protein), etc. would be great and beneficial! Thanks anons.

I recommend doing a lot of curls, at least 5 sets of 10 everyday.

I actually did more than just crunches and pushups.

Lunges 3 sets of 6 each leg
Squats 3 sets of 10
Push Up & Arm Lift 6 reps each side (I have carpal tunnel, so my wrists can't handle a lot of weight baring down on them or else it fucks my wrists up)
Over Head Triceps Lift 3 sets of 10 each arm
V Crunches 3 sets of 10
Arm + Leg lifts 10 reps each side
Side Arm Lifts for shoulders 3 sets of 10
Jogging for 30 minutes

Also, last time I went to High School health class was 5 years ago.
