I had carpal tunnel in both hands from excessive wire cutting work using hand clippers. I bought heavy duty wrist braces for both hands. Not the neoprene things. Those are more "reminders" than "braces." I got the most rigid ones I could find. I wore them every night to bed, and often during the day as well. Also, surely not what you want to hear, but I stopped lifting weights. Had to; it hurt too bad. I couldn't even push open a door or push a shopping cart without sharp, shooting pains in my wrists and forearms. It took over a year for that shit to heal. To this day, I do pushups and open doors with my knuckles, and in the gym, I pay very careful attention to my form. I've become very good at 'making a lighter weight feel heavier,' as some bodybuilders say.
