Hello /fit/ :)I'm sure this is a pretty common question, but what is a good general workout routine for a 16 year old male?I'm not looking for anything too intensive, just something to make my upper body more appealing and my legs more defined.I have access to some weights and an old Total Gym 1000.
You have to give us more than that.WeightHeightBody FatGoals (Strong man training is different from marathon which is different from general)TimeDiet (that you are willing etc.)
>>317868Dude. You're probably still in highschool, so you have a whole fuckton of time to actually go out there and play.Join a sportsclub and just have fun. You'll get fit as long as you stay competitive.
>>317868http://rapidshare.com/files/128061449/pavel_tsatsouline_-_naked_warrior.pdf.htmlRead this. You can either just stick to his two exercises or you can incorporate his theories into your weight training. What I like about it is that it doesn't require weights - beyond the fact that if you're not fully developed, you probably shouldn't be lifting too aggressively anyhow.
Work out 4 days a week. Break it up so for the first 2 workouts, you have a day rest between them. Then work out two days in a row, and rest a day after that, and repeat. Break up the muscle groups too, have days for chest and arms etc
