So I've started tracking my daily food intake on FitDay(No, I'm not fat - I just picked up from reading this shit board that it's probably a good idea to track how much I eat, at least when I'm weightlifting) and I'm having some issues. For example, I take dietary supplements like Fish Oil(For Omega-3 and the shit), and vitamins, I can't find fish oil in pill form and the kind that they have on there is wrong, like my fish oil is made up of Anchovies, Sardines and Mackerel - but I can't find that on there, plus it's not in pill form as far as I can see.

What do I do about that shit?

doesn't matter what it's made of, just custom food it and put in the calories/grams of fat per pill and then put in how many pills you take a day

Add a custom food maybe?

Custom food is fucking annoying, but if that's the only way.

i have like 30 created custom foods. pretty much have to when you don't eat 99.999999% of the shit they put on there. mcdonalds double cheeseburger with no onion no pickles and 3 slices of cheese, but no fucking macadamia butter

How is that? Is there anything I should add to my calorie intake, I work out 3 times a week(Mon, Wedn, Fri) and do this:

Workout A:
1) 5x5 Barbell deadlift
2) 5x5 Barbell or dumbbell bent-over row
3) 5x5 Barbell military press or dumbbell shoulder press

Workout B:
1) 5x5 Barbell squat
2) 5x5 Barbell or dumbbell bench press
3) 2x max reps pull-up/chin-up

if you're trying to gain weight then i would suggest eating at least 800-1000 more calories per day. right now you're doing alright, but i would suggest trying to cut the carbs down a little and eat more fat. try to find a better protein supplement as well that doesn't have carbs or 1-2g per serving.

I'll go check for precise measurements on the protein supplement I'm taking - I just took the protein powder in the search.

OK added a more precise protein powder based from the description on it.

What do you suggest eating for fat?

nuts (macadamia, walnuts, pecans, pistachios, almonds) , olive oil, coconut oil are all good fats

So just swallow Olive oil? That doesn't sound very nice.

>>401341
you could, some people do that, but try to incorporate it in your diet. salads, protein shakes, cook with it (low-medium heat max) etc.

You can't find fish oil capsules? Man, they sell bottles of them at the grocery store these days. And any supplement shop has like a shelf full of them. The amount of fat & calories in them is so marginal, I wouldn't bother tracking them though. Omega-3s are mainly to keep your brain working right.

With Fitday, yeah, you're gonna have to do "custom food" for pretty much everything. It's worth it though, for that Zone-tastic pie chart of macronutrients.

he can't find them ON the website. he takes them in real life but doesn't know how to account for them on Fitday

What are the benefits of fish oil?

Holy fucking shit I just fucked up. I thought I'd drink some olive oil, so I fill an average sized glass of it and drink it - Tastes horrible - Not doing that again. But that isn't the reason I fucked up, I fucked up because I found out I just fucking downed 1800 calories in less than 20 seconds. What the fuck do I do.

>>402695

Go do a shitload of exercises, it doesn't have to be a bad thing

>>402699

1800 fucking calories, 61% of my daily intake is now fat. Because of 20 seconds. Fuck.

Has the good fats you need daily, helps inflammation and joints

>>402703

Just tell yourself it's not as bad as eating fast food for every meal of the day
>> Anonymous
>>402705

I'm just wondering if I'll see any consequences like increased weight or increased fat % because of this or will my body just go: Hey healthy fat that's nice.
>> Anonymous
>>402708

You'd have to do it more than once to gain significant weight. You'll probably just shit and piss most of it out.

How much should I take in the future:

Mind you I was gonna have another meal before going to bed consisting of some chicken and ryebread, but that shit isn't going to happen now.

I don't take olive oil myself; I do fish oil, about 2 tsps of it every day. It's probably the same. When I google olive oil and bodybuilding, nothing relevant comes up.
