Posture Anonymous
Hey /fit/

So tonight my parents told me that I need to correct my posture (stop slouching etc). At times it almost looks like I have a belly. I had it checked but the doctor said there was nothing wrong with my spinal curvature. I spend most of my day working on the computer (hence the shitty posture) and I go to the gym 3-4 times a week.
Anyone got some advice on how to correct my posture?

Hey my posture is shit too. I think my head/upper neck leans too forward. Trying to keep straight posture I feel like I look stupid& and think people look at me like some wannabe hardass. Yeah I'm a computer mouse. Help pls.

Work your core, be mindful of your posture when sitting, use a Swiss ball instead of a computer chair.

Know that when you have a correct posture you are working your abs only thing that made me correct my self.

I use one of those balls as well, i love it but i don't think it makes a difference to my posture.

What is a good posture, for example standing up? Abs tight, clench butt. I never can't seem to know if my hips are in a straight line with the rest of the body. Draw a line from head to toe, how are your hips?

And what is good sitting posture?
If you're on the comp all day like me, then its kind of hard to keep that correct posture going the whole time. I find I'll just slowly hunch over every time.
