Hey /fit/, I've got a few questions for you.

Not long ago I started beating up on a punching bag as a fun way to do some cardio work. However, I've got a few problems. First, my wrists are naturally thin, so it kinda hurts when I botch a punch and hit the bag at a weird angle. Sometimes it even hurts when I don't mess up the punch. Are there any specific exercises I can do to strengthen my wrists, or will they just become more resilient over time?

Also, I have a pair of padded gloves [the same kind as in the picture] that I'm using. Do these support/protect my hands enough, or should I get some proper boxing gloves?

hand wraps
wrist curls
don't fuck up the punches.

Ok, thanks for the help guys. Going to get some wrist wraps sometime soon. I don't mind sucking up the pain until my wrists get tougher, I just wanted to make sure that I wouldn't be fucking them up by continuing.

Buying a bag is pointless if you don't do some form of boxing you faggots, you're just going to end up teaching yourself how to punch wrong and end up hurting yourself...

Wow OP, no fist wraps under you're little gloves that aren't even made for heavy bag? You sir, are a failing faggot who doesn't know shit about boxing.

Get some bag gloves and fist wraps, I doubt you even fail so far as to punch incorrectly so I'll spare my opinion of you in that factor, but, if it seems necessary, learn how to throw a punch, for cardio purposes you don't even have to punch hard.

This is coming from a 4 year boxer.
