Hey /fit/, post your HIIT workout.

Mine is as follows:

Burpees
Jumping Jacks
Bodyweight squats
Abs
>> Anonymous
running on a track

or

elliptical
>> Anonymous
10-15 minutes on a bike.

I hope to transfer over to running soon, I'm just afraid I'm going to fall on my face and/or collapse.

Running in the desert

Running uphill.

>>166340

you probably won't fall over or collapse, you'll just end up walking.

>>166349
Well, I am fairly convinced my feet doing point forward when I walk or run. I heard that your feet straighten out as you run faster but... I'm not totally convinced yet.

Its not about collapsing, its more about my falling over my own feet.

doing= dont btw

Is it better to do just one thing for the entire 14-16 minutes, or do multiple exercises like OP?
>> Anonymous
>>166352

Then focus on getting form down before running hard. Once you get the form down, and then start running harder, it should solidify itself pretty well.

running on a track

im up to 10 minutes now, but when i first started doin the 6 minute cycles id throw up after almost every one

>>166361
If you can't run at least 4 miles, then honestly you need to work more on endurance than on HIIT. And yes, for starting, do it on flat ground. For the sake of your joints, make sure it's not on asphalt or concrete. So if you can't find any trails near you, stick to the track.

I've just started to incorporate HIIT actually, but I run every other day (used to be everyday but I started weights). I have noticed I don't kick the back of my ankles as much as I used to. It really hurts when you do \ =

>> 166364

i can run 3 miles easily and do it every day of the week... but running and HIIT are worlds apart. Im sure 4 miles would be no problem if i can run 3 easily. Also i only do HIIT on flat ground right now because i live in louisiana and there are no inclined areas for me to run on

>> Anonymous
>>166328
how long do you do each of these for?
>> Anonymous
>>166404
4-5 minutes each. Do them for 20 seconds, then 10 seconds rest, repeat.

It's actually a tabata workout, but it's still HIIT.

MOAR of the mom
>> Anonymous
on a track, i sprint the straights and jog the curves for 4 laps, which is a mile. i focus on more cutting down my mile time this way (ie I've gone from 10 minutes to 8:53) rather than sprinting for 30 seconds, jogging for a minute, etc.
