I naturally come here with a question. For the past 3 weeks, I have been using www.hundredpushups.com to try to reach a goal of 100 push ups. But since I don't want to do only push ups, I've applied the program to my whole work out. So, I've been doing pushups, preacher curls, forearm curls, military press, bench press, hammer curls, and tricep press every other day.

Is this a good work out plan to gain strength? I finish the work out every night and lately it's been getting tougher and tougher, but I can still do it. I just don't know if this is a safe program to use for work out or if it would work at all...It's the only program I've ever used though. I used to just work out and lift randomly for about an hour. Anyway...pic unrelated; it's vietnam.

Read starting strength, and to an extent try out the regimen from stronglifts.com. You can't go wrong either way.

I appreciate your opinon and will look into it, but I guess I'm wanting to know if my workout plan is worth it or if I'm gonna end up hurting myself or something.

The real question is why the fuck are you doing several kinds of curlz, and why the fuck aren't you doing SQUATZ?

I do two bicep curls...hammer and preacher. The forearm curl; I couldn't think of a better name. It's a weight on a rope tied to a bar, and you roll it up. It's for your forearms. Other than that, I can't tell you why I do those. But I work out my legs and abs on days that I am not working on upper body.

This routine is a problem as it does not contain any form of workout to include legs. DO NOT NEGLECT LEGS. In order to achieve max results you have to work out your WHOLE body. Tuff shit but you gotta do them SQUATZ. Also implement some abs into your regimen as well.

While you're at it, do pullups and deadlifts too.

I don't workout my whole body on the same day. I like to work out everyday for about 90 minutes each instead of working out for 3 hours every other day.

No pull up bar, and I only have dumbells, no barbells.
