Scoliosis.

i just got diagnosed with a 30 degree curve in my lower spine, or lumbar. it's relatively mild, only cosmetically a problem right now.
anyone else have it? or know any exercises to prevent progression etc.
pic related- not me, but that's a scoliatic spine

I might have it. I can't remember exactly what my doctor was saying about my spine. I distinctly recall him describing it as "twisted". I've had lower back problems my entire life, but nothing debilitating. I imagine the problem will become more apparent as I grow older.

swimming is apparently great for building back strength, it may help to your curve the same if you swim regularly enough, i have mild scoliosis, i'm male 17, i do a lot of swimming and i'm pretty well toned, there's a slight asymmetry there on my torse, but ppl don't usually notice unless you have low muscle tone or whatever
