/fit/, what's for breakfast? I know it's a borderline /ck/ topic, but we seem to discuss "healthy" diet here often enough.

Personally, I love oatmeal. I eat the hell out of Quaker Weight Control banana bread flavor, but I got sick of eating it every single so I'm setting out to broaden my health breakfast options. I've discovered the wonders of Fiber One Honey Clusters...an extremely low sugar cereal packed with whole grains and fiber and vitamins. I also got tired of buying eggs just to only use the whites...and Egg Beaters are expensive...so I started making tofu scrambles and for the volume of tofu I can get for the price, it seems to be a better value than regular eggs and has a slightly Earthy taste that I really love.

What else does /fit/ besides the typical whole grain oatmeal/cereal and fruit? Do you ever just eat chicken breast or seafood or any meal that is usually considered lunch/dinner for breakfast? Do you recommend stuff like buckwheat pancakes with splenda instead of sugar?

tl;dr: What's good for a /fit/ breakfast that breaks free of typical oatmeal?

rye bred with eggs, and bowl of yoghurt with some cereal.

Piece of wheat toast and a tiny bit of jam or peanut butter with a half a grapefruit is good.

What do you think of regular wheat bread? I have some kind of Weight Watchers approved wheat bread that has 45 calories per slice. Is that generally on par with rye and other similar brown breads? I usually have one slice of this wheat bread topped with a sugar free jelly along with my cereal.

I'm just curious because I've heard a lot of wheat breads are no better for you than regular white breads.

Rye bread is the king of breads. People who tell you otherwise don't know what the fuck they're talking about. Tons of fiber and some iron. Two slices of the stuff we get here equals about a quarter/third of your daily recommended dose of fiber and iron.
