So I tried to start cycling a ketogenic diet on monday to burn the last 8 or so pounds of fat I have left. I was planning on carb loading during the weekends and eating no carbs during the weekdays. However, in the 8 hours im at college or so it seems fucking impossible to find anything low carb and today I just ended up giving in and eating some carbs. Supposedly if you eat above 40g of carbs you leave ketosis, and have to wait a couple of days to enter it again.
Are ketogenic diets really worth the trouble? So far losing these last pounds have been nearly impossible for me -_-

Be self sufficient and quit your whining.

Bring low-carb snacks with you.

Nuh-uh. There's sugars in the cream part of cott.ch. and OP is doing a keto diet. Alternatively there's egg whites for protein. Tuna also.

This is not hard. Meat, jerky, nuts, green veggies. Take a bag... put some jerky, nuts, and broccoli in it. Take it to school. Get cheese if you want. Just eat. Eat a lot before school so you don't get too hungry. Have some sugar free jello or diet pop. Seriously... not hard.
