I have trouble sleeping and I don't think it's insomnia as I can sleep fine, it's just getting to sleep, for the most part. Does A.D.D. have anything to do with this because sometimes I will just be laying there and I just can't stop thinking about random shit (no it's not stress related thoughts). Any thing I should do? A lot of my peers say I am pretty active and others with A.D.D. that I know of are on medication. I workout often and try get as much exercise as possible. Should I go see a doctor because it's getting frustrating, my eyes are burning and I have a headache and I'm tired as fuck.

Pic semi-related.

Try learning to meditate and clear your mind.

It just means you have anal tension. A sufficient dose of cock in your ass will fix it.

listen to some self-help type stuff on an mp3 player as you lie down . it should put you to sleep.. and who knows maybee youll learn something subliminally if you fall asleep with it on.

also, you can try Melatonin.. its pretty cheap. I use 3mg pills occasionally if im having troubles falling asleep.

but the main thing is you can't be surfing the net or playing games and think that will help

There are two thought patterns that I experience as someone who has severe insomnia. I think about all the things Im afraid of, what I need to do, how I can do them, what I did earlier that day, a bunch of random crap and I am thinking as though Im taking an exam or Im in a conversation. Following that, right before I sleep, I think as just how I think when I wake up. Its slow and I finish thoughts before I narrate them in my head. My eyes roll back, I breathe through my nose, and then if there is another step its lost in my unconsciousness forever.
Dont think about comfort, just choose a position and stay in it and your body will find it acceptable within a couple minutes and you'll be just fine for the night.
Also look into RLS if you like to take night walks.

I'll try to find something more relaxing to do for a while before I go to bed, thanks.

The only way I can sleep at night is by listening to a podcast on my ipod nano w/ skullcandy earbuds.

Otherwise I stay up recalling old bad memories, embarrassing things that I have done and things I should've done differently.

The shows I listen to entertain me and keep my mind occupied so I don't have room to think of the bad things. Usually within 20minutes, I drift off to sleep and stay asleep all night as my memories do not haunt my dreams.

fuuuuck i do the recalling bad/embarassing memories thing before bed too. i fucking hate that. vidya games and interweb browsing till i'm sleepy as hell has fixed that just fine though.

I'll insert my two bits worth.

Probably wrong, but meh.

If you work out like an hour or two before bed, you won't be able to sleep.

If you're watching TV or something an hour before bed, you won't sleep.

tl;dr, just read an hour before bed.

Trouble with sleeping can be related to "over exercising" (sorry I don't know the english word). I recomend seeing a doctor.

A good word to use for "over exercising" is fatigue. More of a result to exercising in excess, but it works.

>The result of having trouble with falling asleep in a timely matter can be related to being overly fatigued in your current status. I would advice contacting an M.D. using a telephone during your nearest convenience.
fixed. This is how all English-speaking people talk.
