Hey /fit/, I'm about to go food shopping and I need to know what to buy. I'm 6'2", 195 pounds. I have a bit of a beer belly (Well, really not a beer belly, just a layer of fat) and want to change that into a 4/6 pack. What would be the food/excercise to accomplish my task? I have enough time to work out between an hour or two hours per day, in a gym. I'm not sure if I need to do cardio BEFORE I start gaining muscle mass, or if I can just start gaining muscle mass (If I do just start gaining muscle mass, will it burn the fat, or will the muscle mass build under the fat, with said fat remaining?)tl;dr what excercise/food do I eat at 6'2" 195 pounds for a 4/6 pack?

you probably already have a sixpack. you need to lose bodyfat down to 10%.
I doubt it, I just started working out 3 weeks ago, and I haven't done a ton of ab work. so would I just go for low calerie foods, or high protein no carbs?
Not to mention my diet's always been ridiculously horrible. the way I eat, I should be 500 pounds. All I did was eat McDonald's every day and never did ANY form of excercise, I must be genetically blessed that I'm not obese.
eat a good meal before you go shopping, that way you're less likely to buy sugary foods on impulse.
