Alright /fit/ I need some help.

I've been eating a lot of chicken because it's lean and doesn't have a lot of calories.

Does anyone else know any filling meals that are low calories and/or good for you? I don't care too much about the vitamin content or what not, just the calories or low fat.

Grilled veggies (peppers, zucchini, onions, mushrooms)
Mashed cauliflower is a good potato substitute
Stirfry: green beans, peppers, onions, snowpeas, sprouts

It's about trial and error for what you like/dislike

what oil to stirfry? and keeping it healthy?

my HEALTHY stiryfry recipe:

a splash of grapeseed oil
strips of shredded chicken (I usually have a rotisery chicken from costco on hand)
slices of onions
bean sprouts (these are the shit, get it from your local asian market)
slices of lighter colored bell peppers
broccoli
a little bit of shredded carrots
some oyster sauce (probably the unhealthiest part but gives it a tradition asian flavor)

oh ya i forgot, you can add ginger or garlic in too if you want. Do it before you put in other stuff to flavor the oil nicely.

and remember, stir fry mean HIGH temperatures. Have everything prepared and toss it in and mix. you don't want the vegetables to be completely or overcooked. You gotta preserve the nurtients man!
