Dear /fit/. Starting at the beginning of the year, I weighed 169 lbs. Not happy, pissy, and working at a deli. I dropped the deli after three months, and took up a job at the zoo here. Since then lost two pants sizes, gained muscle in my calves, thighs, forearms, and shoulders (lots of lifting heavy crap, shoveling, running around, pushing wheelbarrows... etc.) And, I started taking ephedra again, simply for the energy. I stopped eating anything more than two small meals a day... and damn, it is awesome. I haven't weighed myself yet, but man, I feel good.
Another plus side, it's year round, 5 days a week, 8 hours of constant work. I started in June.

LOVE high energy jobs!
(Just thought I'd share....)

Not really. Every body has it's own need, and if I feel I don't need to eat much, then I don't. Eating healthy (fruits and veggies, lean protein etc.) and keeping it under a intended caloric intake per day, while supplementing with vitamins. I don't quite see how that's terrible nutrition.

Hell, every Fatty post I read on here it's states "eat >1000 calories a day." If you're trying to loose weight, but gain muscle (which the constant lifting/pushing is equal too), isn't it reasonable to lower your caloric intake, but eat healthfully?

I concur with this.
