the chance for salmonella could be 1 in a 1000, or more, or less, don't really know. but it's there.
chicken eggs are rated as the almost essentially the best source of nutrition, everything in it. but be careful, don't chug a bunch a daily, you can develop a severe allergy to the protein in it and lose your cheap efficient protein. don't overdo it.
i heard a guy did this once, like 6 every morning for months or something. then found it it was a bad idea, layed off completely, and all the egg proteins exited from his system. later an accidental touch of cake icing set him off, keeled him over and was hospitalized. i really wish i had the source of this, so i could say something more solidly referenced. basically it's like it was entirely out of his system, and then body insisted it stay that way, treating as a severe allergic reaction.
take breaks for a few days from protein sources. the same proteins every day aren't good. cycle through your favorite alternatives, fish, baked chicken, vegetarians sources, etc.
