i have two questions for you /fit/,whats that type of excercise called where you push against yourself (for example i put my hands together and push) and does it work?like if i tried to raise my left arm but my right arm is pushing it down?
Dynamic tension.Yes but you have to put a lot of effort into it. Weights are simpler. There are no shortcuts.

>>372464Yeah but it's a lot easier to miss muscles and create imbalances than other methods... try bodyweight exercises instead of that. Pushup variations, etc. Possibly even just pay for gym sessions wherever you go.
