How do i get a thick neck?
I'm not talking about the trapezeius muscle, i'm talking about the throat muscles, etc.

I heard of a guy that would rest the bar on his neck while doing bench press by supporting it with his neck muscles. Apparently his neck turned xbox huge to the point where if you tried to choke him, all he had to do was flex his neck.

thats pretty intense

neck being more powerful than my fapping grip....

Lay on a bench, jacket on face as padding, 20kg weight on face.

Place head outside of the bench and do like sit-ups with your neck. This works as you're laying on your chest/back/sides. Good neck workout.

Used to do it alot when I was into boxing and shootfighting for being able to take punches better etc. GL

WHY WOULD YOU WANT A THICK NECK?

i don't think you can actually train your trapezius without developing the rest of the neck.

Having a developed neck is great if you're ever in a car crash or get punched in the face. A muscular neck protects your vulnerable cervical spine from whiplash movements.

Front and back wrestler bridges are great, if you have a access to a nautilas neck machine in a gym, those are awesome too.

There is this exercise where you put a towel on the floor and then rest some of your bodyweight on your forehead (not all of it) you then roll your head side to with your arms supporting on the turns as necessary. Probably can do it on your knees. You can use one of the harnesses too but I wouldn't suggest loading the front of your neck with weight, you don't see people doing it for a reason.

You're thinking of the front wrestler's bridge.

That would just be a static contraction, this is actually a rolling to side to side movement. You arn't propped up on your toes with your hands behind your back. I am sure there are variations but seems different.

There is no way you'll get a thick neck by doing direct neck exercises. You'll need to increase your overall muscle mass by quite a lot in order for your neck to increase in size. It is the only way.
