my savior

95% of my time on this earth goes towards achieving steve house like status, the other 5% is planning how to efficiently use the other 95% of the time.

i'm literally obsessed with it, people might say they are obsessed with something, but I think I take it another level.

before class starts I'm always reading a book about alpine climbing. when i get home the first thing i do is check mtnathlete.com to see what they did for a workout. when i'm home i either read nutritional blogs, read previous workouts done on mtnathlete.com or gymjones.com, read an AAJ or Alpinist magazine, cook the best possible meals i can, sleep 9-10 hours a day, train 45-60 minutes intensely 3 days on 1 day off, and on the weekend do a 6-8 hour 3000+ foot elevation hike with a 30-50# pack on.

i'm probably missing something, but yeah that's what most of my time is consumed by. also reading these boards when i don't feel like reading workout logs or nutritional blogs

i hope the day never comes (when I'm alive at least) when it becomes commercial like Everest and Cho Oyu. it's just total disgrace to everything alpinism means
