I have been eating wholemeal bread recently but have always liked rye bread (this certain one in Australia). Are they essentially the same or one more healthy then the other in a diet geared towards living healthy and weightloss?

I think at that point it doesn't really matter which one you eat.

It's not like you're eating wonderbread

and lay off the vegemite

I eat 2-3 slices a day tops. 2 for my sandwich at lunch and if I take canned soup to work for dinner I will have 1 slice with it. I prefer the Rye so if there is no significant difference to them i'll stick with the rye :)

The healthiness is pretty much 50-50. But rye bread has definitely a better taste, so it wins.

Whenever I start eating bread regularly, I gain weight so fast you can see it growing on my belly.
Bread and weight loss is a no for me.
