Hey /fit/,

I know you should work out at least three times a week, but doesn't matter how close together/far apart they are. I started a full-time job for the summer and kept my part-time job for some nights. The only time I have off is Monday nights, Saturdays, Sundays, and alternating Thursday/Friday nights. Does it matter if I do most of my working out close together (mainly weekends), or should it be more of a Monday-Wednesday-Friday routine?

Also, what are some good little exercises to do in the office? I feel like such a log just sitting at a desk for 8-12 hours a day.

you can do a split. tell me what days you will train ill give you a split for weightlifting

What I want is to more-so lose weight than do a lot of weightlifting. Saturdays and Sundays are the days when I could do most. During the week if I only go to the one job I'll get home at about 4.

I don't really need the money. I'm keeping it so that I can still have the job when I start school again. Though I may cut it down to working only two nights a week since by the end of the week I'm absolutely exhausted. (Late-ish nights, early mornings, long days)

weightlifting elevates your metabolism more than cardio, its also anabolic in nature, whereas cardio is not.

lifting weights will help you lose weights more than cardio, cardio helps, but weightlifting is better.

Military Press 3x8-12
Dumbbell row 3x8-12

Sunday
Squats 5x5
Dumbell Stiff legged deadlifts 3x 6-8
Lunges 3x8-12
Leg Curls 3x8-12
Back extension (not machine) 2x 15 -20


and just do crunches in the morning or something on off days.

lifting weights wont make you huge and manly, you are a girl, you have a girl body. your muscle is small and compact. more lean weight will burn fat way faster and you will be stronger and look more "toned" you should be using boy weights too, not pink db crap.

Oh, I agree. I chose my work schedule before I decided that it was actually time to get my act together and do something. And seeing how tired I get now I think I'm going to drop a night.

Thank you. That sounds pretty good. I also found a gym that's close to home and that's also pretty cheap that I will probably get a membership to.
