So, I just tried some SQUATZ out. Don't have any free weights (or any weights at all for what's it worth) so I put a standard size car wheel on my back. With my car wheel size gut I figured it would be enough weight for a beginner, not that I had any other options. After ~45 reps breaking parallel I almost fell over. It wasn't quite to failure, but it's still a strange feeling to be winded and pumped without a burning, uncomfortable sensation in the lungs. I expect my butt and thigh pain to be delicious tomorrow.TLDR: rant rant rant
lol how did you hold onto the wheel?
I just lifted the wheel above my head and flipped it over onto my back, supporting it from below with my arms.
