Hey /fit/. I want to start doing pilates and find a way to increase my flexibility (don't really know why, just do). However, I want to be able to do these things without equipment. I know I need to start stretching and such and that there are pilates exercises I can start doing, but does anyone recommend a place on the net I could go for help with what the different exercises do? Also, I've never really had a pilates instructor, so is it useless to do it on my own?

Let's Pilates for the DS. No joke.

I already do yoga so I'm flexible already so it doesn't do that much for me, but Let's Pilates seems like it would work well for a begginer. But if you really want to be flexible I would suggest yoga instead. Pilates is kinda like yoga with less stretching and with more of a cardio element.

You might as well do yoga, I've started doing it on my own and learned a lot so it isn't useless. You don't need to buy a mat or anything. Look for a video called "rodney yee power yoga" on amazon or torrent it, it's really good and is straight forward.

Just get a longer penis and be done with it.

Diane Keetes, she does a combination of Yoga and Pilates. works great. Do the Pilates for toning and strength. Depending on the type of yoga you will need it. Most yoga doesn't focus on the core enough.
