Dammit /fit/, for the past 6 weeks I've been exercising to the point where my legs almost give out 3 times a week and eat little besides veggies and soup. I hop on the scales today and I haven't lost a single gram. Measured my waist and I haven't lost a milliemeter.

I know weightloss takes time but I was expecting SOMETHING by now.

I'm not educated on this by any means besides reading venuto's book but perhaps you should eat more more often? Also, I'm wondering what your resting heart rate and normal daily metabolism is.

There's a couple things that could be wrong:
1)You are a lying troll

means nothing. You are fat. How long is that? Fat people give up fast. An hour of cardio = about 3 slices of pizza. Maybe. If you are exercising vigorously the entire time...which since you are fat you probably aren't.
3)you are lying to yourself about what and how much you are eating. Write it down everyday for a week. Crunch the numbers. Figure out what you are actually eating.

Considering that you "haven't lost a gram" and peoples weight naturally fluctuates within a kg or 2. I think you are a lying troll. I only responded because I'm part of /fit/ and we like to feed trolls

Cardio mostly. I go to the gym and cycle hard for an hour and then use the step machine for 15 mins (which is all my fat ass can take). I also swim a few kilometers.

See above for workout. I have been monitoring my food intake very closely and make sure that it's less than 1200 calories per day, though being a vegetarian (brace for impact) makes it hard to lay off the carbs (though I've swapped them for whole grain pasta/brown rice/etc.)

It is not possible for a girl who weighs a 170lbs and is only 5'4 to eat 1200 calories a day for 6 weeks without losing weight. With exercise you would be averaging a caloric deficit of about 1200 calories a day. Even if you never got out of bed you'd be running a deficit of about 800.

If you weren't a liar you would have already lost 15 Lbs. But since you can't even be honest on an anonymous message board because your fatass has to lie to herself and say you are doing everything right and its not your fault. You are still fat.

Well I've been keeping a journal on calorieking.com where you enter your exercise and everything you eat... so I've been monitoring my exercise/food intake properly and everything. I'm certainly not lying to myself because I bloody well NEED to lose weight before I go overseas next year and that would fuck up my plans.

you should try eating 4-5 times a day. but eat enough i made the mistake of trying to lose fat by eating twice a day and all it did was stick me where i was at. Its much easier to lose weight eating more times a day. Just dont eat too much.
