wtf..so i was just eating right for a while, and lost about 20 pounds..i was down to EXACTLY 200 pounds.

Then i threw in cardio for about 30 minutes a day (10 minutes, 5 minute break 4 times), and now i've gained about 6 pounds back. I was told I had to up my calorie intake, so I have. Not alot, and i'm still eating right. Have I plateaued or what?

WHAT THE FUCK. Halp :(

10 minutes of cardio will not burn off a Super Size #6 combo meal.

sacrifice a child to satan. he'll give you abs.

Take your weight at the same time. I take mines first thing in the morning for the most accurate readings. If you did this over a few days to confirm i suggest dropping your carbs lower and ramping up the intensity on the cardio.

OTIO

For fucks sake, eating more = more energy = surplus = fat stores increase

He upped his calories because he began running. Hence no surplus to speak of, theoretically.

OP, could just be waterweight. If you've just started running, you've begun to actively pump more energy needs to your legs which are transferred with water. Think of a muscle-in-use as a muscle pumped with water as well as more energy. Even during recovery the muscle (are you sore?) is going to have more water weight stored in it than usual.

Just a thought.

Fuck you asshole. I was eating like 1000 calories a day now i'm eating about 1500.

Does this mean I just have to cut down to 1000 again? Seriously I just want to get down to about 170-180. I'm not running but jump roping and sprinting in place. (not little girl jump roping, it's pretty high intensity)

I also started drinking more water. I drink about two bottles throughout the whole thing.

Seriously what the fuck should I do..

If you can jump rope, you can run. Start.

I'm not sure if 1000 calories is healthy... hmmm. I say build muscle.

I'm not trolling..

Like I'm regular jump roping then instead of just jumping with both my feet I jump with one foot at a time and pick up the speed of the rope. I didn't know what else to call it..

This is the same for me, OP. I've been getting the same amount of calories every day for a little under a year, basically. I was exercising but stopped a month ago. Between then and now, I did very little, but still my weight dropped from 224lbs to 215lbs.

Well, Tuesday I did some cardio and yesterday I did weights and last night my weight was at 223lbs. So I gained 8lbs in a day.

I weigh myself at the same time every day, drink plenty of water and eat the same amount. But when I exercise, I GET HEAVIER. Why?

If you're eating 1500 calories a day and running for any great period of time, enjoy your catabolized muscle and wasted time. That said, it could be any of a number of things: water weight, replacing fat with muscle, not running enough to burn off the extra calories, etc. Analyze what you eat more carefully, it's highly unlikely that you're really eating 1000-1500kcal/day unless you're tracking it.

yeah I count out my calories every day

lol, by eating 1000 a day all you lost was muscle and a little fat, then when you upped your calories, your metabolism was already fucked so it probably made you gain weight. You had less lean tissue, and that helps burn fat. This is a symptom of YO-YO dieting, I've been there. Learn from your mistake, stop being an idiot. Fat loss is a slow process.

This sounds like a fucking troll, if not, smarten the fuck up, eat properly, at least 1800 a day, and exercise regularly. If you're not doing that, then fuck off. Starve your body more and enjoy your fast weight gain once you stop.

Oh alright. Yeah I was trying to go down and down and I read how it totally fucks up your metabolism so fuck that x_x
