i just had a thought, could it be because of my chair? for the past four years i had a cheap $5 chair without arm or back rests, but i was always siting on it in a Buddha position (lotus?) I've never had any back or neck problems, even after extensive use, but a few weeks ago i got a $50 executive chair, it's pretty comfortable and all, but it has arm rests pretty close to the body and a curved (vertically) back rest, so I've been unable to sit in the same position, i pretty much have to hold my legs straight down and my back against the chair while i use it, it's also about two inches higher than the old chair so I've been forced to hunch a bit when using the keyboard, and I've been having more back pains too.
could it be that the old dollar store chair was better for my health than this monstrosity?
