1 - compared to the 2kg dumbells, yes. but to add more muscle you'll want to constantly be lifting more weight for the same number of reps, so you increase the weight you can lift at least every week. 2 - no. bench press. 3 - more so again compared to doing the same thing over and over with 2kg dumbells. for maximum growth, you need to up your caloric intake by about 1000, and rest lots. gains are made in the kitchen, not in the gym.
