sup /fit/, just wondered how good cycling is for building leg muscle and cardio/stamina work.

i actually enjoy cycling (theres a massive country park type thing that i go too, so it will actually be terrain rather than a flat road) but i just wondered if i'll be wasting my time compared to other exercises

Unless youre really weak on the legs it wont build much muscle.
Personally I find it good for stamina, but dont cycle near traffic or some shit.

I take it you've never seen the sprinters on the professional circuit? Their thighs are XBOX HUEG!

Cycling doesn't generally build mass though unless you do sprints. Long bikes through the mountains and that shit are awesome cardio and will strengthen your legs up, as well as train them not to seize up in 20 minutes due to lactic acid buildup, but they won't make your legs huge and chunky.

it al depends on the gear you push when riding an xbox heug gear would help to raise your strength but would be less efffiecient smaller gear higher cadence for stamina
