Jesus christ, this place turns into /b/ in the day. The girl wants some fucking help, so for god's sake quit being self righteous pricks and help the poor girl.
Here's what you need to do. Figure out your target calorie intake based on your BMI. You should be able to find a decent formula online somewhere (that's where some of your leg work comes in) then simply eat the appropriate amount of calories so you don't overeat and you don't go into starvation mode (that kills your metabolism and builds fat)
then, get on a workout plan. here's a decent one. do HIIT workouts 2x per week. On all the days you don't do HIIT, do standard cardio like running, cycling, or swimming. Also, do weight training 3x per week. I'm not going to give you a weights program you can probably find a good one yourself online.
Follow this program STRICTLY, with NO slacking whatsoever and you will find yourself losing weight and looking better soon enough. Good luck.
