I want to start doing more cardio. I figure I'll start doing cardio on the days I lift (in addition to days I don't), and since both my lifting and running take place at the same place I'll probably do them one after the other. I'm just wondering, is it better to do cardio before or after lifting? Does it matter?

And fyi my cardio routine involves something like jogging (usually like 2 miles) followed by running stairs.

I don't, I work out at a highschool and run at the adjacent track (where I also do my stairs on the bleachers).

do light cardio after your workout on your off days. while doing your light cardio sip on some protein shake + creatine. this will help circulate your blood to help remove lactate and replenish glycogen stores in your fatigued muscles.

Do HIIT early on the days when you don't work out as well as some light cardio in the evenings. This should help reduce recovery times while at the same time efficiently training your cardio.

something like 10-20 minutes of light jogging should do the trick of reducing lactate levels. Don't use this time as a cardio training time, just keep your heart rate at 50-60% above normal for around 10 minutes (shouldn't be too hard considering it's after your weight training.)

fat people run on treadmills. are you too fat to go outside and run? If anything, strengthening your ankles from running on an uneven surface should be enough. But I guess people are just idiots. That's why every gym has treadmills in front of the televisions right?
