hey /fit/

sometimes when I'm in my room at night, and I'm not tired, I'll do a shit load of pushups and pull-ups before i go to sleep.

does time of day matter when it comes to fitness? besides the bi-weekly-ish game of ultimate frisbee, i don't really get any other exercise of any sort

The time of day will effect you somewhat, but you should definitely be eating some sort of protein rich food before bed, especially if you do a bunch of push-ups/pull-ups beforehand.

Time doesn't really matter. Frequency does

Some people have difficulty sleeping if they're too active (exercise) 4 hours before going to bed.
