I changed my diet and have been working out for about two weeks now. I want to know whether I've been doing it wrong or not.

1) Should I eat before or after a workout? What's the best sort of thing to eat? I usually jog in the morning and don't eat anything before that. After my jog i have a protein shake and a bowl of oatmeal.

2) I'm trying to lose body fat and maintain muscle mass. Currently I'm eating 1700 calories a day and consuming around 115 grams of protein. I'm 5'7", 155 lbs, 21 yr old female.
I walk+jog for 20 minutes 3 times a week and do various exercises 4 times a week. Is this a good balance or should I lower my calories and/or protein intake?

3) Is it better to split up exercises and do them throughout the day or do them all within maybe a few hours or so?

1) after, eat a banana before you jog- wait 15mins, go jog

2) its good, keep doing it

3) do it at once

go swimming aswell, it costs like 3.50 for 30mins at the pool, and you will get more comfortable with your body 100 times quicker by seeing a lot of old ladies naked.
