nothings "wrong" with gnc brand but.....Optimum has 4 more grams of protein per serving, less sat. fat, and less sugar...so its a little bit better

GNC is very good for the fact you "GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR" as in, each and every batch is universalized and sent through extensive 3rd party lab testing for
1. truth in labeling (IT REALLY IS WHAT IS SAYS IT IS)
2. nothing "funny" (be it that cheap chinese stuff or just 99% complex carb powders, 1% protein. or illegal stuff) in your "OMG SUPRAWESOMEWHEY"

remember, there is NO EXTERNAL GOVERNING BODY for supplements. you can DO and SAY almost anything you want on the 'bottle' of X you are selling
so i would sure as shit recommend boring GNC to my athletes than any of the newest, latest, and greatest. protein is protein. you only need it
