So I do cardio 7 days a week. When am I supposed to be getting SQUATZ in? Shouldn't you be resting your legs for a day or two after SQUATZ? But how the fuck does that work when you gotta go and run everyday?

cardio*5, dickwad, not *7

if you're doing it right, your cardio comes from doing semi-intense shit such as squats, pushups, lunges that just keep on coming without stop....

pain is for pussies

the above is for the intense person... if you're just doing it for general health, then don't worry about squats

if you're a fucking troll get out my /fit/ the hell right now

Yup, do you want to be an olympic runner or a weightlifter?
Not much point in squatz if you only want to run or bike.
On the other hand, if you do squatz, expect to be sore for at least a day.

wat

Seriously though, running and squats both involve your legs, but they're not really the same kind of exercise.
Running is an aerobic exercise, whereas squats are an anaerobic resistance exercise.

If you want to run, do that however many days you want to, and do some sort of resistance workout (including SQUATZ) every other day, or whatever you feel works for you.

maybe not the SAME kind of excersize, but if you're doing it right, they both rock your legs. and it seems to me that ripping your legs up even more w/squats and then not giving them rest time (because of running) pretty much defeats the purpose of ripping them up by squatting if you're not giving them rest time to rebuild because of running.
