Regarding OP's question, you have a couple of options. You can try to find a Vitamin Shoppe or GNC kind of place near you, but most places will try to rape you price-wise, and GNC only sells their own brand of shit, which doesn't give you many options.
The best place to get whey protein is from bodybuilding.com, even after shipping costs you'll save money. If you can afford it, buy one of the 10lb bags (80 bucks) and don't worry about having to buy any again for a few months.
