The best way to gain weight is to eat a huge meal which include fat and carbs, none of that fiber shit, then just go to sleep. Do it over the course of a week and you'll have 5-10 lbs quick.
If you're talking about muscle then just eat a hell of a lot more and work out with strength training routines. Stay away from long distance cardio and go for lots of short high intensity workouts.
