If you -do- have a hernia, it is a inguinal hernia. You might be able to push your intestines back into place using gentle yet somewhat firm pressure. If not, then you will require a simple surgery.
Either way, you should probably see a doctor, as they will be able to tell you if you actually have a hernia, and fix it for you. If you're lucky, you'll go in to find out you don't have a hernia, or that you do and get it fixed all in the same trip. Otherwise you'll have some surgery but it is no biggie. It's usually covered by most insurance plans.
