TWO MONTHS - Clock is ticking for me! :( Anonymous
Here's the deal guys.

My friend's girlfriend is trying to fix me up with one of her friends who is coming here in August, roughly two months from now. We've been talking online and on the phone for the past few weeks and we've hit it off pretty well. I really like her and I think the feeling is mutual.

Before she arrives I want to do as much exercising as possible. I know I'm not going to be able to drastically change my appearance in only two months time, but I want to do whatever I can.

Question time!

1) In two months of pure exercise and weight lifting, dieting, etc, is it possible to see noticeable results, or does the skin need time to revert? I'm 6'0" 260lbs, 23 years old, if that helps.

2) When is the best time to work out? In the morning before work? Before bed? I own a very nice treadmil and a set of dumbbells of varying weight. I want to do like an hour on the treadmil, 100 situps, dozens of sets/reps/whatever on the weights, etc. Basically when is the best time for cardio and when for lifting? Situps anytime?

3) Do I want to work out before eating or after eating? I've heard mixed things about this. Like "don't exercise before eating you'll ruin your metabolism" and "don't exercise after eating you'll get cramps", etc.

4) More than anything I want to work on slimming down my stomach, chest and neck. What can I do besides running and situps?

You can lose 16 pounds in 2 months, more if you consider water weight.

1) Yes you can see very noticeable results, but it all depends on how hard you are willing to work

2)Don't excersise before bed, 100 situps isn't very much, but situps in your case are a waste of time atm

3) If I run less than 2 hours after eating anything I get a massive stitch and have to stop, also exercising before eating means what you are burning is fa and not energy from the food you ate

4)you can't spot reduce fat, cardio will burn fat from all areas and you can't control which areas it is burned from. run more or do other cardio like swimming or skipping

5) eat at least 1500 calories a day or you'll lose nothing, don't bother with slimfast, eat healthy low fat low carb foods like tuna and turkey and shit. also high protien foods like red meat. look into getting some protien shakes.

>eat at least 1500 calories a day or you'll lose nothing

This is just wrong. Firstly, that's all dependent on your body type, gender and height. Secondly, if your metabolism is going strong, you'll give up fat.

Ok, usual anonymous's way of how to lose weight.

Cardio (no shit), do loads of this run for miles you need to burn that fat off.

Cut out all of your soda and shit, get to just water, eat sammiches rather than burgers for dinner.

I can't push how much to drink water instead of soda, make sure you don't crack, the first couple of weeks is the hardest without it but stick with it.

I eat after I've worked out and have around 1 hour gap from working out to having something to eat.

4) SQUATZZZZZZZ

If you truly exercise hard and eat correctly, you may lose 20 lb at most. Good luck.
