Hey guys, I need to lose a lot of weight in a very short time. Now, I'm not talking water weight I'm talking actual fat. I have a bow-flex, billy blanks bootcamp, some low carb food, some low calorie food, some low fat food.

What's the best diet and best workout for a struggling fatass who wants to be a martial artist? (Or whats the best one for a fatass who needs to lose weight and keep that shit off) Also, /v/ pic because I don't have any fatass or skinny pics.

My god, /fit/ is basically /v/ only after they've done all the damage to their bodies and they need to lose the weight they put on over the years of sitting on their fat asses playing "the vidya" as they so eloquently put it.

Hay! No trolling the fatbutts.

Low calorie food is retarded. Eat salads, vegetables, healthy cuts of meat, while working out. A good daily workout consists of an hour of cardio (whatever you want, walking, jogging, jacks, bikes, stationary or not, etc), afterward followed by a specific 1 hour lifting set based on what muscle groups you want to work out (look it up. Pecs, trapezius, bicep, tricep, front abs, oblique, whatever).

running is the best. 30 mins is the fat burn zone. if you can keep your heart pumping fast for 30 mins to start then keep it pumping after you start buring teh fats. when you feel hot and shit that's the fat burn, nigga.

Oi, my fat ass can't run for 30 seconds. I can run and then walk and then run some more but not a straight run.

Not WHILE working out. If you do that, the body will start burning the carbs you've just eaten, and not the fat you're trying to burn. It's best to wait at least 2 hours after you've eaten before doing cardio, or exercise before you eat.

What I like to do is 40-60 minutes of light cardio in the morning to wake me up, and then do another 30-40 minute high intensity cardio later in the day. Daily resistance/weight training at least 30-60 minutes a day is also a must.

Also, you can't eat a bunch of junk, and you can't drink alcohol or soda, if you're serious about losing weight. It's okay to cheat a little bit here and there (once a week is pushing it), but you really need to stick with healthy foods, particularly lean protein.

Gah. Sorry, I misread your post. Obviously you meant you need to eat healthy AND exercise, not do them at the same time, lol.

I need to fucking sleep.

No, I mean. If I run for about 10 minutes straight nonstop the bones in my legs would literally snap. I'm that overweight. You know those fatties you see on dr. phil that need oxygen tanks to get around? I'm one step below the oxygen tank.

I buy bottled water from the stores, not the flavored kind just plain water.

Go to the gym then and find a cardio machine thats easier for you. The rower,a stepper a bike etc. And sorry for the harsh words i am trying to get on your case.

Not a problem. Everyone has total fuckups when they restart cardio workouts, people who are out of shape can rarely jog or run for more than 15 minutes.

All you do is jog till you're out of breath, then start powerwalking until you think you can sustain jogging again.

It's fine, after hanging around /v/ for so long I can take a lot of abuse before I snap

>>1092
Oh! Jogging. I can jog for a long time but I can't run as fast as my legs can possibly go for more than 30 seconds at a time.

Then that's all you have to do, for an hour.

Jog up and down hills for an hour, go home, STRETCH (important point here, no stretching = sore as shit muscles), then lift for an hour.

And if you feel like it you can probably also jog for a half hour after lifting.

Try high intensity interval training for your exercise; it's quick, and more effective than pretty much all other aerobic workouts at weightloss.

As for diet, I recommend eating several smaller, super-healthy meals a day. For me, this is a wholemeal seeded roll with a lean meat (turkey, lean beef, chicken etc.) light mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, and a huge portion of salad. I have a smoothie with it. It's very filling but very healthy, and deals out a good amount of protein to help repair the damage the HIIT has done to my leg muscles.

OP here, these are some more things I have to use but I'm not sure how well they work:

Exercise machines: Gazelle(The tony little walking thing), treadmill, bowflex.

Pills: Stacker 3 with Chitosan, Alli. Some Hoodia thing.

No, I hate /a/ it's Weeaboo shit. I'm willing to work but I know my limits and I really think if I run at fast speeds for long periods of time the bones in my legs will literally snap. And if they snap I'm fucked.

Oh lawd, HIIT. Just a warning if you decide to try this: It is REALLY effective, but it comes at a price. It'll be hard as fuck and you'll have to feel like you're gonna die after each session (based on the way HIIT works). Feeling like you're about to puke your guts out is normal (I stopped doing it because of this...).

But don't get me wrong, that shit works. Really well. Up to you if you want to man up and face the pain to get the quickest results.

Do you know anything about resistance training or whatever it's called? Like, with this Bootcamp Workout thing we have these bands that you put around your feet and then hold it up with your hands, you have to do exercises and after the first 3 reps of 20 my arms feel sore like my muscles are starting to rip or something. Question is: If I continue even after I get this feeling will something bad happen? Should I rest for a few seconds when i get this feeling?

I love that feeling. lets me know I've done a good job.

Rowing tests in school way back when, 2 kilometre on the ergo machine, 6 minutes 30 seconds, then munt. Honestly, it was easier to vomit like that than sticking your fingers down your throat.
