What's the healthiest cereal, /fit/?Pictured is what I eat, but I'm trying to lose weight and if anyone have any better suggestions, I'm happy to hear them.
Depends what the rest of your diet is like
I am superior fiber!
>>262773seconded.
Always look on the ingredients list for High Fructose Corn Syrup and "partionally hydrogenated."You don't want those ingredients in what you're eating.
>>262768Almost exclusively eggs, chicken, broccoli, spinach, tomatoes, non-fat yogurt and various fruit.Non-fat soy milk with the cereal.
Oatmeal./thread... (HONESTLY)
>>262887Not that pre-packaged shit either, get a bag of 100% whole grain oatmeal...
>>262888How do you prepare it?
I just buy the organic, granola-type cereals. Those really fill me up.
May I suggest eating fresh fruit for breakfast instead?
>>262894I eat fruit twice a day anyway.
Kashi GoLean ftw
>>262890Just pour some REAL milk on it.
kashi golean is the healthiest, but it tastes like crap. i enjoy regular old all-bran. but really, oatmeal.
>>262890Boil in a pot like the package says, I mix like a 1/4 cup of 1%milk once it's cooled and add a bit of splenda.
>>262963You get used to the taste pretty quickly though. I mean, I don't think it'll ever taste _good_, but it's definitely bearable after the first few times you have it.
Aside from oatmeal, I like Total
>>262955seconded, get a sack of old-fashioned or steel cut oats, not the instant shit and throw some milk on it, or you can mix in yogurt and peanut butter and its like a granola bar you can eat with a spoon.cereal tends to be a lot of starch which for me wears off pretty quickly. I eat PB sammiches for breakfast
Is Total a good choice?
