is there any kind of cardio workout I can do in a small room to help me lose weight? I go out and run in the daytime but I live in a bad part of town to be running at night, but that's when I want to excercise the most. I don't have a treadmill or any equipment...so is there anything?

running in place? jumping jacks?

I read here that crunchs do nothing to help you lose weight.

Yea, burpees. For example, do a conditioning exercise like this one:

30 sec. burpees
30 sec. jumping jacks
30 sec. mountain climbers
30 sec. rest

repeat 10 times

You will hate me.

i personally do sth like that too.
you could try sth like :
5 reps of normal burpees
5 reps of plyo burpees
5 reps of tuck jump burpees
5 reps of moving burpees

x5 to get total of 100 reps.
fucking excellllent.
