so i'm a lacrossefag, and i was wondering if there were any other lacrossefag's on /fit/ to tell me how to get my shotspeed and accuracy up. i'm pretty decent, but i can't pick corners all the time or anything, and my shotspeed is respectable (80-85 mph) for a high school player. any exercises i could do to increase that?

also, i want to get a flat stomach, and have some definition on nearly everything. mostly chest, abs, back, and arms because my running for lacrosse takes care of my legs. any suggestions for a workout routine/diet? i'm thinking about getting the bowflex and giong on the diet that comes with it. would this help me achieve my goal?

D3 player here, my highest shot speed was 98 mph. Underhand. Work on shoulders, doing side raises, front raises etc. Also use the push and pull method when shooting. Flex your muscles so you are 'pushing and pulling' when in a shooting motion. Also lots of back, especially lower back so you can turn your body quicker.

Well for your off hand, the best thing is the time tested method of wall ball. Find a wall and throw as many passes with your strong hand with your off hand. It's all about muscle memory. For back just check that workout I posted.

also, do you think the warrior diamond/helix combo is a good stick?
and what would you reccomend is the best way to free up a head? the other stick i have (brine swizzle 7075/answer) is too pinched and the ball often gets stuck in the neck

there aren't any gyms nearby. i'm already on a diet.
i played football for 5 years. i was a starting defesive lineman (i'm 5'9", and 170 lbs. coach is retarded amirite?). i decided to quit because the faggotry was too great.

Yeah spent a lot of my earlier years on a wall. No clue about that stick, we are a Warrior team but everyone has kryptos or titans, none of that sticky bullshit. And it isn't easy or often needed to unpinch a head, so I'm not really sure how. Probably should check the forums on inside lacrosse for stuff like that.
