So I've decided, if I don't die of a heart attack in my sleep tonight, tomorrow morning I begin dieting and exercising.

I'm through procrastinating, I'm taking a hold of my life and making my ambitions a reality. I'm 310lbs at 5'11 currently. Size 48 waist, if I recall correctly.

I'll start the day off with some oatmeal and fruit, later I'll have tuna and eggs, for dinner it'll be vegetables and chicken. In between meals I'll have more fresh produce, yogurt, and trailmix. The diet will vary in foods, whilst maintaining the same guidelines.

For training, well, I'm going to run my bag off. Then I'll do some calisthenics and stretching. I'll start slow, so I don't die in the process.

I'm not looking for a pat on the back, I'm just posting this too reassure myself. This is forever, I'll do whatever it takes.

you can do it!

Change the diet so that you have protein in every meal, Eggs would be better in the morning since your body has been starving all night, and it needs protein to keep the muscle you have (you have muscle underneath all of that, and you want to retain as much as possible) from catabolizing.

Good luck, Honkey.

Good luck OP, after a little while I got addicted, with any luck you'll do the same. There are worse things to be addicted to than exercise.

glad to hear it friend and best of luck to you, you CAN do it, let us know how you get on. we like progress reports.

Remember, getting INTO shape is the hardest part but once you have a reasonable level of fitness in the next 6 weeks or so it will become real easy

I appreciate the support, Anon.

Two years ago I was a hard and ultra lean 190lbs, and I fought internationally in full contact karate. I love the taste and feeling of pain, struggle, and victory - always have.

I don't know what happened, but I'm fuckin' over being in this condition. You guys will definitely get a progress report from me, and some comparable pictures.

Also, the diet is just to eat anything that came from the ground or had parents - cooked in any natural manner and in moderate amounts, like how I used too eat.

Cheers~

my rule is "If man made it, don't eat it" so quite similar

if by trailmix you mean nuts, raisins, honey and such, i'd leave that out. it's meant to be a high energy food (healthy but calorie-packed) to be used by people like long-distance runners and such.

You gained 120 lbs in two years? Jeabus. How did you manage that? Did you move to college and live off twinkies, or something?
