Sup, /fit/

I have an internal conflict.
I have for the past several months been focusing on getting myself into shape, and it has been working relatively well, but there is an issue, I work as a chef.
I eat 5 or 6 meals a day, and preprep a lot of my food, but I'm still around fatty foods of a good 10 hours a day. I never go all out, but i do eat an extra 150-250 calories a day and as such, I have been considering taking some sort of appetite control pill. Not something i would consider under any other type of profession. Is this a bad idea? will it work with my being surrounded by food?

In b4, WILL POWER!!!! I'm a god damn chef. you try it.

How about you ask yourself WHY you are eating those foods? Is it really a matter of convenience or are you simply attempting to sabotage yourself?

I'm suggesting that you don't really want to eat healthy. That your profession is merely a convenient excuse. That you fear having to do without the comfort of the food you have grown to love over the years.

I'm not a whale sir, and I have cut down plenty. I was just thinking that since the only unhealthy thing i eat happens to be at work when I'm stuck with it right there, that an appetite suppressant might give me a bit of an edge and help me eliminate it all together by removing my cravings.
