I've been doing squats for about 3 weeks and I have minor pain in my knees. The thing is, it usually happens after I do squats, and I don't notice it at all while doing them. Are my joints just getting used to the the stress? I also had elbow pain when I first started lifting. I think my forms pretty good, I keep my knees out, they don't drift past the toes, I keep my back arched, etc.
I started squats about two weeks ago, everything was fine until like two days ago my left knee hurts a little bit, it kind of impedes my ability to squat but doesn't stop anything else, what could cause this so suddenly?
Any pains, even MINOR ONES, means your form is off.Try using a foam roller, do some hip mobility exercises, do tabata squats, do supine bridges.
