Hi /fit/. I am quite new to this board but I feel I should finally attempt to get my fat ass off the couch and involve myself in running. I am currently weighed at 6" 210 pounds, most of which is weaboo chub. I am new to running and I don't really know where I should start.
What would you guys reccomend for a guy like me to get me started?

Do elliptical and other cardio before you start running. Your shins will collapse under that weight

Do people ever fucking try reading FAQs or stickies? I would think the general knowledge pool would lead anyone that bothered to read them to a rather conclusive answer to how they should start out. Either that or lurk a bit and wait for someone similar to your physical situation to ask.

tl:dr not everyone needs a personalized /fit/ regimen for losing weight. :E

Here's an idea, how about instead of coming here and asking your stupid vapid questions you go and actually read up on fitness, health and diet? you know, empower yourself and shit?
If you want to be healthy and fit, why don't you read about what healthy and fit people do?

Retard.

I'd say start off slow. Begin eating healthier foods, maybe spending less time on the computer, walking more often, etc. Then once you've worked your way into a more healthy lifestyle start worrying about where to start off with the running. There's a lot of tip websites and places you can go to find general guidelines to running, but for you, I don't think its something you should start off with right off the bat.
