Hey /fit/!
I really enjoy running, normally I do 5 km runs and after it I don't feel much tired. So I was thinking of running carrying some weights (about 2 or 3 kgs in each hand). What do you think? I wouldn't look like a jerk because there's never anyone at the place where I run. I would like to have some ankle weights, but I'm a poorfag. Btw, is there anyway to make some homemade ankle weights?

Fail, they'll fuck you up. If you ever decide to add any additional weight to your body, make it a weight vest. You stated you're a poorfag, just find a way to save up. Expensive but definitely worth it.

Check it out, I have a Men's 50 lbs short vest. Totally adjustable, you can work you way from 0 to 50 however you want.

Either run for a longer distance or start practicing negative splits during the last couple k to lower your overall pace. Seriously, weights will destroy your joints.

be careful with ankle weights, or really any weight besides a vest, they can fuck with your joints over a long period of time.
