hey all.
i'm 6" and 11 stone. I'm desperately trying to gain mass. Currently doing a 4 day a week weight regime (monday-wednesday-friday-sunday etc) i love doing it with a few friends but i'm not putting on as much mass as i'd like to or think i can.

I use maximuscle cyclone (protein and creatine all in one shake), my question is how should i take the it; for example what times (before/after workout etc) how much protein should i be consuming per day, and are there any other things i should be making sure i eat/drink.

generally accepted you want to consume 1g of protein per pound of body weight

You need to eat a shit ton of food, not just take protein supplements. I used to be a skinny dude like you, and then I started eating as much as possible at each meal and went up from about 130 to 155.

Basically, eat a lot of chicken and meat and stuff like that.

ok well avoiding stone i am 155 pounds already and i eat a ridiculous amount of food.
a decent amount of vegetables/fruits, plenty of meat and fish and at the right times during the day. also plenty of water.

my main question is (i'm sure i'll learn this in those pdf's which i will read but for now i'd like a quick answer) what is the best time to take the supplements to use them to their full potential?

If you're using protein, you're supposed to take it in even increments throughout the day for best results.
