whats the best way to deal with the common cold?

any ways to speed up how fast you will get better like the reason they always say "drink alot of liquids" whenever you're sick?

pretty sure i have it and not the flu since i dont have a fever, but it's been forever since I've had one so I dont remember how long they usually last >:[

sleep more. drink hot tea. gargle salt water. The cold may last longer or shorter depending on how strong your immune system is since its a virus.

righto, prolly doesnt help that I lifted when I felt the first onset of symptoms 2 days ago

did 20m of cardio at night, had a mild sore throat

next day i got up and lifted for 35-40m and that was that day/night was HELL

this, plus zinc, plus 8 hours of sleep.
also, eating yogurt and drinking tea can help prevent future colds.

change your pillowcases and bed sheets nightly or as often as possible. this makes it so that all the mucus and gunk that comes out of your head doesn't fester and stay with you every day. also, i take a daily multivitamin, which may or may not help.

I dunno where you live, but I'd say go to the store and buy yourself some Simply Orange Orange Juice. That stuff is God in a bottle. About a year ago, I had the flu. I drank two gallons of that stuff and the next day, the flu was gone. Ever since, every time I get sick, I drink down a gallon of it and literally, by the next morning, I'm 90% better.

Depending on how shitty you feel, drink 1 - 3 gallons (I think they're gallons. Never really checked, now that i think about it. They could be 1/2 gallons). The only downside is that it costs roughly $1.50 - $2 more than regular o.j.
