Walking will help you lose weight but you'll need to do a LOT of walking. You also need to be mindful of your eating habits, and make positive changes to them. Try investing in a bike, it's easier on your knees than running and you can perform HIIT on it. Ideally, you want to lose FAT instead of just WEIGHT, and fat doesn't just come right off. You have to coax it out of yourself, at the rate of 2-3 lbs. per week
