Okay, So I am upset with the amount of hair on my body, and I want to change it. I have a fairly hairy chest and stomach, and my legs/ass/crotch are wookie-esque.

I've been checking about what I should do about this, and with you fine folks being the proper resources on physical fitness and general body care, this seemed the place for a second opinion.

TL;DR I want to be hairless. How should I do it.

P.S Shaving does not work well enough. Pic possibly related.

After being scared by online horror stories for like a month i finally bit the bullet and tried nair - which surprisingly worked really well.

If you're actually concerned about this, then you might consider sucking it up and going to have a pro wax you. Seriously. It's not weird, it's just not OK to talk about after the fact, that lasts for a while and produces the best results. You won't have to worry about the hair coming back any time soon (compared to like shaving) and when it does it usually comes back light at first.

From what I've read really the cheapest/fastest way is just shaving. It sucks because it comes back right away, and I have patches on my back that I simply can't reach. Also stubble sucks and its a pain to shave your whole body if you are a hairy guy.

I haven't tried getting a professional wax. Honestly I feel awkward about it, and the fact that I'd have to PAY for it AND keep coming back to get it done doesn't help.

I've been considering that, but the only places within my range are priced like scalpers. Combined with a college student budget...well, yeah.

About your experience with nair, how well did it work for you? Did you use it in any areas perceived to be "sensitive"?

yeah I'm in college too, thats why I went the nair route - honestly, I had really good results with it, especially on my chest. As far as more sensitive areas...it wasn't necessarily the most pleasurable experience, but I didn't bleed or anything like what I read online. Didn't produce the same red bumps from razor burn, which I hate, though the skin was visibly irritated for a few days. I'd say nair anything not terribly sensitive and have a pro do the sensitive stuff, which is what I'd do next time (worth the money I think), but if you dont have the bill$ then nair all the way would work.

Do yourself a favor though - trim first and be patient.
