hey /fit/, i was wondering what would be better for cardio: Running or Jump Rope?

Cardio=cardiovascular endurance.
It depends on how hard you make your heart work.

I did jump rope but then switched to running because although jump rope is fun, you have to learn how to do it well to get some speed and still sometimes I kept catching my foot on the damned rope. Running gives you a much better rhythm to stick to and I just phase out and think about stuff while running. So it's really whichever one you enjoy more.

running should be your primary cardio work-out. jump rope in addition to running or as a substitute on days when you just cant run
