hi /fit/,i am 4 weeks into a 6 week work out program. at 4 weeks i am required to do 26 push-ups 5 times a week. the problem is, when i first started the plan i could do the 12 needed for the first week with ease, but on week four it starts to kill me after 10 and i can barely make it to the 26 required.what causes this, and is there any (free) way to remedy this?

good, stretching is pointless. Waste of time and new evidence shows it might actually be harmful.
