So /fit/, I need some advice.

About a year ago I decided I wanted to get into shape, I ate healthily (I'm now vegetarian) and exercised (albeit I only did push-ups/pull-ups) but lately I haven't exercised for ages (since November) and I'm starting to get a bit chunky around the edges, and seeing as push-ups and pull-ups don't work, can you advise on anything else I could do?

Also, the gym is out of the question seeing as I am hugely self conscious and embarrassed by my lack of stamina.

Yes, they do work. Pushups, pull-ups, crunches, sit-ups, military press, bench press.

With your lifestyle..I would think doing anything that would keep your heart rate elevated for about half an hour, 4-5 times a week would put you in good shape.

yes, keeping your heart elevated for long periods of time is good. it doesn't have to be anything strenuous, but it will boost your metabolism and strengthen your heart.
