Is money no option? Your best bet is to go to a physical store and try on some shoes. You may not know what to look for at first. I would not pay more than $60 for a pair of shoes either, and those shoes scream retardation.

adidas. They dry quickly and have plenty of padding. Lots of mesh to let the foot breathe. I used mine as river shoes then just let them airdry. No smell no deteriation.

New Balance. I'll be buying their trail running shoes as i have wide feet and i heard alot of good feedback about them.

I have adidas. They work perfectly for what I need. Breath through, dry quick, decent traction, flexible sole that doesn't wear out, and decent padding.
