Hey /fit/, what can you guys tell me about Quadriceps Tendinitis?I was playing volleyball last night (My hours have been increasing lately with me doing ~approx 10-11 hours just last week)I went for 2 jumps in a row, recovering from a hit then quickly back up to block and then i felt a tug or a pop.I've done my hand of research,I am highly convinced it is the quadriceps tendon after discussion with my colleagues.Being aware of rigid movements of my patella before the incident, Pain just above the Patella, when it is being stretched it is very very tender and hurts.I guess what I would be asking from you guys...Should I run to the Physio asaP?Should I see a doctor first and ask if it would be more wise to wait for an X-ray first, before i jump to any conclusions?
