I actually bought the book in a store a couple of years ago, and spent about a year on the diet.
It's not that bad actually - certainly not a "fad" diet like it sounds from the title. If I remember correctly, it is essentially a moderate (good) carbs + high protein diet coupled with a strength training program, emphasizing abs on odd days and all-round body circuit-training on even days.
My mistake was not counting calories while on it - so I ended up essentially doing a clean bulk when in fact I wanted to cut. But it's still quite useful for the description of the workout routines, which I still use from time to time.
