What? I study "freestyle karate" under a guy who spent a long time doing tae kwon do, who spends most of his time training (pro and amateur) kickboxers. Lets call it kickboxing with a few chops and throws for good measure. Why? I can barely bring myself to run for two minutes, let alone any sort of usual exercise, but hot damn spending a minute punching, then a minute kicking, then a minute at pushups, then jump kicking, then some more punching, then some SQUATZ then some getting punched at, then some punching at stuff/people, I can go for two (or more) hours at a time. Whole body workout, FTW, variety is the spice of life, etc. I'll leave out the psuedo-spiritual bullshit and kill-a-man-7-times-before-he-hits-the-ground-self-defense crap for the time being... Is that sorta /fit/ related enough to save this thread?
