I want to start pre cooking my meals days before I eat them so that I already have my meals for a few days ready. I'd just put them in the microwave and bam, finished. Would this be good? Is there anything unhealthy? I want to cook a huge thing of brown rice, tons of chicken breast, lots of vegetables, and then put them in the fridge, ready to be microwaved when I need them in the days ahead. I was just wondering if there's anything bad about this with all the bad publicity microwaves have gotten. Thanks.

doesn't sound a good idea to me but that might be more based on perception than any actual fact i know. i have heard that rice contains bacteria that activate quickly after cooking so ideally it shouldn't be consumed too long after. it won't taste good anyway i don't think. maybe do rice for no longer than two days ahead and substitute chicken with tuna and microwave the vegetables separately. sorry to not be of better help OP

Just section off two hours or less of your time right before you go to sleep to make the next DAYS meals. Also keep a journal.
