Hey /fit/,

I'm looking for some advice on how to lose a considerable amount of weight. I weigh about 230 right now and am 5'11. I want to get down to at least around 170.

Now, I've been told by a handful of friends to just eat a stupid small amount of calories a day (a bowl of rice has been the most common recommendation) and exercise regularly to lose weight. Good idea? I mean, I know its probably not the most healthy method, but is it deadly? I figured fiber pills and supplements with the rice would be good. I also considered just water fasting for like a week. Aside from those, any other recommendations for extreme methods of weight loss? Keep in mind, I just want to lose the fat before I build muscle (I hardly have any muscle to begin with.)

run for 30 minutes everyday once you wake up and before you eat breakfast.

Eating less will not work. Search your BMR and eat exactly that much a day. You can go up to 100 calories below or above without any ill effects.

You will immediately begin to lose weight if you stick with that. Also, eat HEALTHY food that has the right amount of calories or you will starve yourself trying to meat that low amount with shit food.

For example:

Burger = 800 calories (estimate) and you are not hungry for two hours.

Lean Chicken Breast in delicious sauce w/ veggies = 500 calories and you are not hungry for two hours.

So on and so on.

Also, exercise you fat lazy fuck. It is the only way you will have any chance to lose weight if you live such a sedentary lifestyle that you got that fat to begin with. Walk up stairs or walk around. Eat healthy and exercise and you can do it faggot.

I ate 600 cals instead of 1600 yesterday and tried to exercise. Didn't happen. I walled very quickly
