Do lots of running dude, if you just do crunches, sure they'll make your abdominal muscles stronger but it'll just push them out further. Running will help you get ripped, so just take it slowly at first and work your way up.
A good workout is the 9 minute routine, where its 1 minute of sprinting as fast as you can, 3 minutes of jogging, and a 5 minute cool-down. Do this a few times and in a few months you'll be amazed.
