Sup mis/fit/s, i have a question about knee wraps, but first a small story:- So ever since my last wrestling season i've had really bad problems with my knees (bursitis, etc.) and so whenever i lift, my knees feel very weak and sometimes even hurt. As i progressed in weight, a personal trainer who also works out at the gym i go to recommended i get knee wraps. I did get knee wraps and used them today. I was surprised that i could rep what i normally did only two reps on for SQUATZ. My question is: do knee wraps give some kind of lifting advantage? Every rep i did felt precise and seemed easier. Anyone know?

Ive never used them but from what i understand they do offer an advantage. They produce spring like tension what you reach the bottom of your squat to allow it to be pushed easier. They would keep your knees straighter as well. But i just had a busitis as well man, you gotta make sure you stretch your hamstrings to prevent that shit.
>>395544OP here, i always stretch before i lift, even then my knees feel like jello after lifting :\anyways, thanks for the input!
make sure youre doing dynamic stretches before your workout, not static.
