Creatine Cycle Anonymous
Sup /fit/

I'm almost done with my 2nd bottle of CE2 HiDef (ester creatine pill) and want to start taking SizeOn creatine capsules. I'd say I've been on creatine for about 4 months. The fag at GNC said to take a month off before I start this new creatine. There is no "loading phase" and I don't want to loose any gains I've made. So should I cycle off for a month or sack up and keep taking moar creatine?

pic some what related

your body doesn't really develop a 'tolerance' or anything like that for creatine, you really don't need to cycle it, but all the same, it's good to lose the water bloat and the beneficial effects of one type of creatine before starting another -- it helps gauge if you respond to one type better.

also, the pills are more expensive than the powder -- they're also not any better. Stick with powder unless you're going to do some prohormones or orals like superdrol. You won't lose any gains by being off of creatine anyways, your endurance will go down, however, since there will be less ADP conversion in your cells. but you won't be any weaker, just won't be able to push as long. so don't worry about 'losing any gains'

tl;dr lose the pills, cycle it anyways.

also, loose =/= lose

green mag, sizeon, cellmass are all good. However, I've noticed that just basic creatine mono, with like a gatorade or some juice post workout (for the dextrose) is literally JUST AS GOOD, and WAY cheaper. all the more expensive creatines are more or less rip offs, if you ask me, they just have a couple additives (glutamine, dextrose, etc.) that you can get on your own with the proper BCAAs and post workout nutrition, and it'll be way cheaper ($20 as opposed to like $40)
