Halp me /fit/!

Despite being healthy and very happy with my body, I don't feel good. I feel tired through the day, I have trouble going to sleep and I have very hard time waking up, I don't feel like doing anything. I'm sure it's because I don't eat good and/or because at work, and most of the time at home, I sit in front of the PC all the time.

The question is: What do I do? I'm thinking about regularly going to gym, but how much time would that take? I just want to feel more energetic, I don't need to loose weight or build muscles. Would one or two hours once or twice a week be OK? I have no idea. Maybe I should just get a roller skates or a bicycle?

Exercising works.. You can try out some supplements perhaps. ZMA works good for me, I get much more rest out of the same or less amount of sleep.

If you have the money, sign up for a gym membership. Go 3-4 times a week. Get a trainer to help you start basic weight training and fitness. Get a girlfriend. /f/inish well.

> 3-4 times a week
That's quite often.. approximately how much time should I spend there each time?

eliminate refined sugars from your diet to feel more energetic. a can of pop spikes your blood-sugar lots, feels good initially like first five minutes, but then depresses the immune system and everything for like an hour or two afterwards as it tries normalize your sugar levels. having large sugar peaks and valleys like this throughout the day wreaks havoc on the body. concentration suffers, muscle building suffers, everything gets fucked up. and then you get fat too. try to eat protein regularly, just a little something even, every few hours, except when about to work hard. frequent quality snacks are win.

tl;dr refined sugar makes feel like crap.

From your situation I would recommend DAILY exercise. That means every day. It doesn't have to be weights, but do something that gets you moving. Ideally an hour a day or more for best results. If you can, just walk/jog/bike to school/work. Once you get used to regular exercise, you'll become to restless to sit around for an entire day without doing anything.
