your body doesn't really develop a 'tolerance' or anything like that for creatine, you really don't need to cycle it, but all the same, it's good to lose the water bloat and the beneficial effects of one type of creatine before starting another -- it helps gauge if you respond to one type better.
also, the pills are more expensive than the powder -- they're also not any better. Stick with powder unless you're going to do some prohormones or orals like superdrol. You won't lose any gains by being off of creatine anyways, your endurance will go down, however, since there will be less ADP conversion in your cells. but you won't be any weaker, just won't be able to push as long. so don't worry about 'losing any gains'
tl;dr lose the pills, cycle it anyways.
also, loose =/= lose
