I have been for about a year (260 lbs) and I've lost about ten pounds at most. I was wondering if anyone knew hoe much I have to play this bitch to lose a decent amount of weight.

I'm hoping you're playing at home instead of being a douchebag and hogging the machine at your local arcade (read: NOT your personal gym).

That aside, DDR won't help you lose weight unless you're playing on heavy/maniac in some kind of nonstop mode where you don't get the luxury of a 30 second break in between songs to catch your breath/lower your heart rate, and even at that point, only if you're sweating like a fucking pig (again, another reason why you should keep the strenuous exercising at home/the gym).

actually for a fatty, an 8 minute mile would burn around 200 calories and thats not any kind of ridiculous unattainable pace, i went from a 13 minute mile to under 7 in 3 months (i also went from 260 to 200 in the same time frame)

you would get more out of 30min of hard lifting at a gym or doing easy stuff at home.
doing push ups, chin up and squats can burn a lot of energy especially if your heaver.
also more muscle = more energy consumed doing nothing.
