I can't go as low as i'd like in a squat. I can get my butt lower than my knees but say if i want to go lower, what exercises can i do to improve flexibility in that area

OP,
you need to be careful not to hyper-extend your quads doing this. Flexibility is something that should be worked on separate from weight training to avoid tearing ligaments or tendons

Also, if that is a picture of you, you may want to work on your arms and chest because you do not have any muscle mass there, and when you work out, you should make sure that you are making strong progressions in all factors of your health.
