Rowing is ridiculously good.
Stick with it, the guys in college are crazy. I do weights with a couple of them 3x a week, and they are insane.
Their general schedule puts me to shame, and I get up at 6:45 AM every day for a 3-5 mile run (and another 2 miles later in the day).
Them? They get up at 5:30 AM every day and do 3 hours of exercise before classes.
My big-boned, rather overweight friend joined the rowing team workout and I swear to god I have never seen the pounds burn away so fast.
