there's no need to spend money on "Extra virgin" if you are cooking with it. The virgin part comes from the fact that during pressing there is absolutely no heat added. Heat hurts the flavor and such. Extra virgin is good for eating raw with bread or as salad dressing. Regular ol olive oil is good for cooking.
