Just made the decision.. Anonymous
Hi /fit/,

Finally just made the decision to get my ass into shape, currently I tip the scales at 6'3 340lbs. Just had my first wake-up call with possible high blood pressure. Went and saw a nutritionist today and my new doctor, as well as signed up at the gym my friends work out at. Anyway, Any tips for staying motivated/interested in working out, I hear that can be the hardest thing. Also, any general advice or anything I can do to help increase weight loss would be great. Thanks

Pic related sort-of.....

OP here, yeah, that's a given, that why I went to see a nutritionist to give me guidelines and what i should and should not be eating.

You can get healthier at any age. As long as you're still breathing, there's still hope. Tell yourself repeatedly to get stronger. Diabetes is linked with too much refined sugar. Cut it all Out. Eat as naturally as possible, the less boxed crap the better.

Get a girlfriend and have her dump you after you get ready to purpose to her after four years. I went from almost 240 to 190 in a matter of weeks. Although my feet are covered in blisters from running and walking.

Also go look at /fa/ the models will make you feel bad about yourself if you want a motivator.
But In all honesty good luck loosing some of that weight.

to stay motived keep your regimen sort of rigid, meaning if you say "I'm going to do X for 20 minutes every day at 10 am" don't skip or push it back ever.

Op here: Thanks for the tips guys, lol @ the girlfriend thing, part of losing the weight is so I can get laid again. But yeah, I'm ready to do this now, im going to work out and burn at least 250 calories 4 or 5 days a week, as well as cut my caloric intake to 2300-2650 (per my nutritionist. I going to start off slower with the workouts (250) and work my way up. I've got nothing to lose but some weight and gain some self-confidence. Thanks
