Sore Calf Muscles Trevor Deely
/fit/ i hope you all can help.
yesterday i done roughly an hour of cardio, and i stretched before and after. but my calf muscles are pretty sore now.
I'm kinda tired aswell and ive been at home all day not doing much.
I've rubbed difene into them and there a little bit better. Is there anything else i can do, did i overtrain or do something wrong?

Probably shouldn't be anything serious if they're just sore. That's how muscle gain works.

A warm bath helps some people, but it might be a little late for that. Can't you just man it out with the knowledge that you had a good workout yesterday?

Well, if you never did cardio before then you prolly overtrained. Or you hurt the muscles with the pre-running stretching when they were still not-so-elastic. I actually never stretch, just start out lighter so the muscles have time to warm up..

Heat is always great for soreness, go sit in a hot tub for a while.
