i want to get down to 140lb.
all i eat is crap...and my eating is irregular.
on certain days, i eat very little...like two things a day, lunch and dinner and thats it.
other days i eat a shit load of stuff and splurge.
i usually eat something off the dollar menu from mcdonalds like 3-4 days out of the week for dinner, something microwavable for lunch like chicken nuggets and the like.
all i usually drink is water.
so, i need you guys to give me a full list of what the fuck to eat 7 days of the week or some ideas in order to stop gaining weight and be healthier. i feel like shit, obviously.

The reason you splurge is probably because you're only eating two-three meals a day. Skipping meals usually causes overeating later. Most people will suggest eating 5-6 200-400 (average) calorie meals a day. You're going to want to cut out the fast food. It's not so bad if you eat it in moderation, but there are better foods and it's not a good way to get nutrients. Try to eat mostly whole grain or organic foods. A lot of people say to stay away from HFCS (or most sugars). Again, this could be okay to eat in moderation but the high sugar levels usually turn into fat. Drink water for the most part and eat a good amount of lean proteins (fish, chicken, turkey, ect.) That'll be the main idea..

Figure out your approximate RMR. Do a food diary of your current eating habits over a couple of weeks (record EVERYTHING with calories in it including alcohol.) Average it out and compare. Then look at where you can cut back so you're in calorie deficit. It might not be what the /fit/ types like to say but ultimately the biggest factor in weight is going to the amount of calories you eat not where they come from.
