I want to avoid the crappy crash dieting, and using diet pills and stuff to try to drop weight, only to have it come back once I stop that stuff.
I want good long term results. I don't have any specific date I need the weight lost, and want to do it the right way.
After having my mom hit over 300 pounds(and the same height as me) seeing the shit ton of health problems she has, and her having to go through surgery to finally lose the weight. My grandma over 250, and finally after she loses the weight(after her first near heart attack, they put her on a very strict diet), a doctor misdiagnosed a hernia, and after getting it taken care of, she has two heart attacks in a row that kill her.
I think I want to nip the weight issue soon and the right way. I'd rather avoid these types of problems in the future.
>>314273 Yes. It's a bit of a slow process. But I'm cutting out the old crap I used to eat. Avoiding candy, sodas, and stuff like canned vegetables(I don't even touch them at dinner anymore) and avoid fried meats(especially pork)
also my dad loves barbeque, so it helps reduce the fried food dinners.
I'm working on breaking old bad eating habits.
