Chow down tuna instead.

That's weird, a 99cent can of tuna is just as cheap as sardines where I am.

eat your sardines and love them, they're full of healthy fat, come from sustainable fisheries, and don't have high concentrations of heavy metals. they wlll make you big and strong and smart and happy.

Seconded. Tuna and salmon (especially the canned kind) pale in comparison to sardines.

Since they are a smaller fish, sardines are a lot lower on the food chain, and have a MUCH less concentration of PCBs, Mercury, and other heavy metals.

Sardines are also full of omegas and antioxidents.

Probably the cheapest, healthiest protein you can eat!

hey guys but don't canned sardines contain huge amounts of sodium?
>> Anonymous

I love my sardines.
Usually I let the oil drop out of the tin before I put the fish on the plate.
Then add some vinegar and an onion. Voila: Fucking awesome meal.
