I'm a skinny weak fuck, weighing in at 62kg and standing at 6ft2. About a year ago I started to go to the gym and do weights from leg presses to bicep curls and heaps in between. After a year I have pretty much nothing to show for my work. I know some of you are quick to shout DO HEAVIER but I'm pretty much doing my max for each rep. My question is how can a weak shit like me build up to heavier stuff and gain some muscle?

pasta probably every 3rd night, lots of bread, quite a bit of meat, fruit an veg and also snacks every now and then

When you want to gain mass it doesn't really matter what you eat, as long as you eat A LOT of it. Eat MORE MORE MORE. No other way, seriously.

Yeah but in all seriousness, my family is kind of poor you see. I eat the on first two days after pay-day, then it's hit or miss everynight for the rest of the week. You know, I'll get like a hotdog or some shit for tea.

I take it you're still in school. In that case, from one poor fucker to another, just do what I did back then and abuse the free lunch food (you do get free lunch food where you live, right?). Just take as much as you can and gobble that shit up. I used to have a friend that didn't even like to eat the crap they served half the time, so I ended up having him get me double portions.
