hey /fit/I went lifting about 3 days a week for a couple of months, but now I've taken on swimming instead. I intend to go at least 4-5 days a week. I still have a bunch of whey protein left, can/should I use it? I know that swimming is great cardio. my question is; will the protein help me gain more muscles as well, or just prevent fat burning?pic unrelated.
btw I'm 5'10, 152 lbs, if that matters.

>>450606well as far as I know, if you consume it while also doing the right kind of activites, it will stimulate muscle growth - but if you're not doing any (or wrong kind of) exercise, it won't help you at all?
