Alright, this is highly relevant to my health. I got a new roommate for the new semester. Much like my first roommate, he spends about 17 hours a day in bed sleeping or facebooking, and the other 7 hours eating or going to class (and sometimes getting up to use a phone.

So I didn't put anything in there about going to the restroom, taking a shower, or doing laundry. He just wears the same thing all of the time. He goes to the restroom about twice a day; he goes through the elaborate process of lacing his shoes up before he'll step foot in there (as if the restroom is dirtier than him). Because he has a diet of sugar-in-water and multivitamins, he expels little waste.

Needless to say this little shit STINKS. The first three days were fine. On the fourth day his bed started to smell so bad and now it keeps me up for an hour or so at night.

So, rather than confront him about it and break his little heart, I need a list of the absolute best in discrete odor-eliminating tools.

Pic related but only if roommate slept on carpet.

Man up and tell the smelly shit to get a shower and a life

So I'm guessing you don't really mind his stink too much, just the overall smell of the place? What you can do, which works magically, is buy some of the Arm & Hammer Baking soda made for smelly pets. It'll be extremely obvious. But get some of that, throw that down on the floor, and vacuum it up. It has a pretty pleasant smell that lasts for a long time. Covers pretty much any godawful smell, without being extremely overpowering.
