Occasional smoker here. I find it difficult to jog more than three minutes at 6.0 on my treadmill. Will I have to stop my nasty habit, or is it possible for my body to get used to all of it?

You are filling your lungs with tar and other nasty shit. This makes it so it's impossible to take in as much oxygen as people with clean lungs. You will have a harder time with physical activity. You need to stop smoking (GRADUALLY and with a plan), and then start exercising. You might get a hacking cough and spew out the gross junk in your lungs when you get really into it.

It's cool. I smoke a pack of Black and Milds a day and still run at least a mile. It's hard at first but once you get past a certain threshold you'll be fine. And don't listen to all that bullshit about smoking is bad for you. Who cares if you die at 75 instead of 85.

Actually your biggest worries are things like impotence, and cardiovascular problems.
