Saw a big can of 100% Whey Protein at Walmart for 33 bucks. Is this worth buying or should I order my stuff online?

Pic sort of related, not the one I'm talking about but they had this too.

Dude stay away from that garbage it's loaded with sugar. Do you want to gain muscle or fat? You can buy something much much more superior for around the same price..

http://www.nutrabio.com/Products/whey_protein_isolate.htm

Once you go Nutrabio you won't ever take any other protein supplents..ever.

It all depends. when comparing protein get information like:

-size of container
-how many servings per container
-how many grams of protein per serving.

and you want the carbs to be a low amount per serving.

Damn I'm glad you pointed this out. I almost bought that shit, too.

But a quick question, which package of Nutrabio do you buy and how long does it last? I was thinking of getting the 5 pound one.

I usually buy the 15lb bucket from them. It's very cost effective, usually lasts me 3 months or so and i try to take at least 100-125 g a day, then the rest from food. Before this i took Optimum Nutrition whey protein..it's not as good as the Nutrabio.

Btw,Nutrabio ships via DHL.They are located on the east coas,i'm in the west coast so it usually takes 4-5 days to get here.

So others won't make the mistake of buying inferior protein. Find me a better product with a better protein/g ratio, less fat, etc. I don't work for them,i'm just a guy who has gone from protein brand to protein brand the last few years.

Muscle Milk is the best tasting and has a shit load of flavor variety of protein powders,

but fails in the price/gram of protein ratio

if you don't mind spending a little extra per gram of protein I agree, Muscle Milk hands down best..

Bodyfortress is fine. Honestly, it's protein. It's all just whey protein--in fact, the more expensive whey powders tend to have more superfluous additives.

If all I really care about is gaining mass does it really matter what kind of whey protein I take? I'm currently using the stuff in OP's pic and I wanna know if using something like Nutrabio instead will up my gains at all.

The stuff in the pic is alright. Whey is whey. Just make sure you take it after a workout with some high GI foods (sugary shit)

you could also mix maltodextrin in with your shake .

1/2 cup is good in your post workout protein shake.
