Hey /fit/, how do I work out my inner chest. My outer chest looks bigger, so it kinda looks like I have man boobs :S

Pic absolutely not related.

do you mean upper vs lower? if you do (ie the 'lower' portion f your pecs is more defined than the upper... somehow...) use incline bench and avoid declines, or at least don't work high weight low reps on decline bench.

i used to think that i needed more inner chest, and my outer was big. the plain fact is that you need bigger fucking pecs. if they start to droop too much then do your chest work on a slight incline to put the emphasis on the clavicular head more than the sternal head.

but no, you cant target your inner chest, if you want to fill that area out more you need to get more overall mass. crossovers wont do it, flyes wont, squeezing at the top wont, you need bigger. fucking. pecs.

Yes. I meant Upper vs Lower. I'll try it out.

then hit incline movements more, on the bench you might only need to lift it one notch or two maybe, not too much. this will fill out the area around the collar bone, and looks kickass.

Noob here. When you guys say incline, do you mean have the waist higher then the head or the head higher than the waist? (eg Which way does one incline the bench?)

like you are reclining in a chair

Presumeably, a similar effect could be gained from handstand push-ups? (Or highly raised legs)

incline is head higher than waist. decline is head lower than waist. a good chest workout often includes both, in addition to flat-bench exercises and the like (FLYYYYYYYSSSSSSSS)

imo dips work better than decline press. and your head doesn't explode from the blood pressure either

this is true. though for noobs (>>182179self-identifies as such) dips without a machine that offers weighted assist might be too difficult.
