Just try to drink water any time you're craving soda. It'll be way easier if it's really cold, so don't skimp on the ice cubes. If you don't have any obligations for the next couple of days, just try to take it easy and ride it out. It's totally worth it.
After you're over the hump, stay off soda 100% for as long as you can. If you're like me, you'll continue to get cravings down the road, but these days I can't finish any soda I start. It's just not good anymore - I take a sip and it's like ah fuck. I can't believe I've done this.
