I know how you could lose 20lbs of fat in only one day without exercising. Light yourself on fire.

>Rule #4: Take one day off per week

>I recommend Saturdays as your “Dieters Gone Wild” day. I am allowed to eat whatever I want on Saturdays, and I go out of my way to eat ice cream, Snickers, Take 5, and all of my other vices in excess. I make myself a little sick and don’t want to look at any of it for the rest of the week. Paradoxically, dramatically spiking caloric intake in this way once per week increases fat loss by ensuring that your metabolic rate (thyroid function, etc.) doesn’t downregulate from extended caloric restriction. That’s right: eating pure crap can help you lose fat. Welcome to Utopia.

I've heard of taking a cheat day, but is it actually a good idea to just pig out for that day?

I wonder too. The basis of this program is the strict and clean dieting, which can always shed some fat quickly just because it's so different from what we're used to (how we got this fat to begin with). Pigging out one day seems to me to be smart in the long run because the next day you're eating healthy again, it's going to seem like a fat-burning godsend for your body. Also you can't store necessarily so much fat in just one night anyways.

I wouldnt say eat crap for a whole day, maybe order a small pizza once a week for a meal or something, i think his logic implies that eating all that shit will put you into guilt of eating it the following week so you will avoid it and work harder.

On the surface if its calories in vs calories out, depending on how much you were to eat in that day then it may not be that bad, but when you go deeper into seeing what food groups were eaten on that day it becomes a problem if it was composed of sugar, simple carbs, alcohol etc..

While the title says "How to Lose 20 lbs. of Fat in 30 Days… Without Doing Any Exercise," if you read the article, he works out regularly. LOL WUT

>7:30-9pm - sports training

>Post-workout pizza with extra chicken, cilantro, pineapple, garlic, sundried tomotoes, bell peppers, and red onions

Well, if you're obese you can lose more than that. When I was 340 lbs I lost 3-4lbs per week for the first two months.

Fat fucks should stop talking about cheat days and drink water instead of diet coke.

and sage this shit

While I agree with your latter point, I think you underestimate the power of a cheat day.

Sorry to break it to you guys, but one day of eating pure garbage isn't going to magically up-regulate your metabolism. Besides, if you do need to increase your calorie intake because of strict dieting, 3000 calories of oatmeal, chicken and olive oil is always going to give you better results than 3000 calories of pizza and donuts.

Honestly, people will do anything to justify eating junk-food.

Are you insisting that people who try to get fit are going to end up eating healthy their whole lives long, never touching fast food again? It might be to their benefit to keep their bodies in the know for how to deal with it before the first hit of it later eventually all turns to fat.

Except eating junk food occasionally has psychological benefits as well.

No, I'm not insisting that people never eat junk food. I have about 3 cheat meals a week myself. I don't have anything goes 24 hour binge fests though.

I'm just saying people shouldn't delude themselves into thinking that cheat meals/days are actually improving their physique. They are for psychological reasons only.

I like this sense of rage i get from not eating junk food then watching some extreme fatty plow into a supersize meal..

*FUCKING RAGE*

That is fucking retarded. Go kill yourself.

And people: don't plan cheat days, there are going to happen anyway.

Having a sense of cheat days isn't something healthy living people do. Facts are, if you're a clean eating person, you can afford to have 10 out of 100 meals be crappy or not too great. Like, you can't expect to go with a group of friends on a Friday night and request a cup of oats and four egg whites and one whole egg, and really see it happen.

Just take this into consideration: there are people out there, probably about 85% of the U.S. population, who eat complete shit at every meal of the day, and still snack on other bad shit through out the day.

NOW... Regarding cheat meals. Do NOT under estimate the cheat meal. I am not even fucking kidding. When I lost about seventy pounds last year, I'd plateau every ten pounds, no matter what. You know what fixed it each time? A spicy chicken sandwich combo at Wendy's.

And to the diet coke naysayers... Fuck off. Chemical filled? Eat dick. Is it good for you? No. Is it bad? No.
