how do you deal with carvings? Not for sweets but just food in general.

I eat alot since I do a lot fo strength training and an hour of cardio every day-two days .. so about 2k to 3k on days I do cardio.

The thing is I had a really big pay this week so I bought stuff I can't normally afford (poor student here) like honey to add a drop in my oats and these dried figs... some emanthol cheese.. just little treats to have a bite or slice or drop every day or so to treat myself while sticking to my main healthy eating plan...

I have a cheat meal on saturdays , two weeks ago was cheesecake and this week was chicken pad thai (the greasy one from chinatown) but those didnt affect me... but now even between my small meals every two hours I have this RAGE CRAVING ...

what the fuck... did the treats peak my metabolism into rage mode or something? It's driving me fucking insane even if i chug water till I want to puke... do I have to reinforce my will power?

One thing that works really, really well for me whenever I have cravings is brushing my teeth; the whole routine, brushing, flossing, mouthwash. Not only does it deal with whatever oral fixation might be involved, after spending all that time cleaning my mouth my desire to soil it with crap--crap made less tasty by mouthwash and toothpaste aftertaste--is significantly lower.
I only do it for eating when or what I'm not supposed to, obviously.
