Insomnia Anonymous
Over the last year, I started becoming insomniac. I can't get myself to fall asleep before 4am and sleep in til about 2pm. Even when I try to get to sleep at a decent hour, I can't fall asleep til the point of exhaustion.

Its now starting to really screw up my health, making me gain ~30 pounds of fat, losing any muscle I gained from running and working out and making me insanely lazy.

My girlfriend suggests pills, but I want to know what my options are first. Anyone else got good cures for insomnia or something that will get me to fall asleep quickly?

i suggest smoking weed an hour prior to the time you wish to be asleep.

Well you could allways try Valerian, but that shit stinks and tastes foul.

just use some pills like nytol to get yourself into a routine.

if not that, then just drop a really really heavy stone on your head at the time you wanna sleep.

If you are already lifting try Zinc Magnesium Aspartate (ZMA) from GNC (or really anywhere, but GNC's is cheap). It has valerian root in it & will help you sleep, and it'll also help raise your testosterone level and get you JACKED UP.

Or you could just try straight valerian root pills.

I have year long college and I start working part time again this week. At the time being I can either work part time at a restruant for lunch and dinner shifts or work for DHL doing warehouse morning shift from 545 to 845 monday to saturday. Both are same in pay weekly but not sure if I can handle having to change sleeping pattern that drastically and that quickly. Suggestions?

Weed. Just make sure you fall asleep before you give in to the munchies if you're worried about weight. I had really bad insomnia my entire life until I started smoking. Now I get a solid 8 hours every night at a reasonable hour.

Insomniac? Bloody amateurs.

For the past 5 years or so, I've had no sleep rhytms. Basically I stay awake ~14 hours and sleep ~11 hours, making my inner day ~25 hours long. That leads to my bed time being pushed later and later, getting to the same point at roughly 2-5 week intervals. And I'm still quite skinny and in a normal shape... although I kinda agree with the laziness part =(
