In all honesty, exposure to sufficiently frightening stimuli will provoke a fight-or-flight response, which might make it easier for you to run more (for a bit, anyway). Either fighting or flighting will return the body to it's normal state (which will happen quickly while exercising). In that case you'd need frequent exposure to the stimulus to try it again and I can only see this devolving into a crack-junkie-chasing-a-bigger-high type scenario. I would not suggest this; the added stresses may be ... unhealthy, not to mention the possibility of your scared ass falling off the treadmill.
