Stretchmarks. Anonymous
I've lost 36 pounds and have about 10 or 15 left to go. I have HUGE stretch marks all over my lower back, ass, upper legs, and upper arms. Is there anyway to make them go away or make them less conspicuous?

Pic sort of related.

No. I have heard some things about cocoa butter but don't count on it. There is surgery but of course not many would spend the money.

gain weight back (but not all of it). Wait for your skin to adjust. Lose weight again. Wait for skin to adjust. Repeat the last two steps until you are done.

Cocoa butter will not cause them to go away but it will reduce them.

Too bad, think you can just gain all that fat and not have any consequences?

They are SCARS and you're stuck with them.

Same here, OP, 'cept I'm female so it makes it twice as dsgusting. I don't need to lose any more fat, however. Now I just need to build some muscle. My stretch marks are on my thighs/backs of knees, beasts and hips. I had them on my bum but they have considerably faded. The others, however, won't budge. I currently use cocoa butter daily but am thinking of surgery later in life depending on the cost. I am so self conscious of them I won't even let a guy get anywhere with me. Sux.

Fucking iPod touch and its word-changer; I meant breasts.

I also had stretch marks (though from gaining weight). Cocoa butter is temporary. But with time they go away, in my personal experience.

Pic is related. If you look closely at her right breast, which I happened to catch by coincidence, she has what looks like stretch marks. Or maybe not.

Only time really. Stretch marks are caused by overstretched skin loosening up and causing said lines due to lack of tension...hopefully with time your skin will tense back up, it dosen't always happen.

I gained most of that fat when I was little and stuck with babysitters who did not care what I ate and did not make me go outside like they were paid to do. Now I'm close to losing it all. Too bad my ass is totally covered with white stripes.

Look hard at this mother's belly. Look loose to you? I'm sick of /fit/'s constant chorus of "loose skin."

OK, well not everyone feels like doing 500 sit-ups every other day or swimming 6 miles daily just to get rid of stretch marks.

Clearly, all eight-year-olds have a grasp of physical fitness requirements. Most kids won't go outside and play unless you shut off the TV and force them out.

And turning off the tv is so hard because.. ?
PARENTS ARE LAZY FAT FUCKS WHO COULDN'T BRING THEIR CHILDRENS BACK HOME WHEN NIGHT COMES BECAUSE THOSE CHILDRENS WOULD BE RUNNING TOO FAST IN THE WOODS PLAYING HIDE AND SEEK OR TREASURE HUNTING JACK KNOWS WHAT.

Putting them into an intense karate class could work.

I've been using cocoa butter and would guess that my stretch marks have faded by ~50%. It takes time, though. Right now I'm looking into other products. Damn my aunt and forcing me to eat fatty foods for 4 months.
