hi /fit/

I've decided to get into shape. I went from having like 3000 calories a day to roughly less then 500. I've put on a lot of weight but its mostly from drinking a lot lately. Last night was the first night and I just couldnt get myself to go to sleep.

Was the drastic change in calories the reason I couldn't sleep?

basically yes, assuming your going to sleep hungry your body will keep sending signals to go get food keeping you awake. Should go away soon if not consult a doctor for sleeping pills

So your eating less then 500 calories a day? Good job idiot. Enjoy your fucked up health.

Minimum amount of calories a woman should eat is 1500, and 1800 for a man.

Stop that.

And just so you don't think "oh well fuck these fags, I'll put up with the bad health just to lose weight"

Your body will eat your muscle first, and your metabolism will drop to the point to a standstill. You'll be stuck with no muscle, a fair amount of fat, and you'll be pissy from the lack of nutrition.

Then when you start eating normal, you'll pack on chub.

Eat normal, weight-train and do cardio, and it'll come off faster than you would imagine.

Never ever do that again. What you should do is limit your drinking, and get about 1800-2000 calories. if you want to push it you could probably do 1500 Kcal.
