Hello /fit/.

I'm trying to loose some weight by walking and stuff like that. I also need to change my diet. Almost no matter what I eat I pretty much never get full.

My question is: What thing to eat contains the least fat/calories/whatever but still makes you feel full?

Eat beans. Beans have enzymes that make you feel full.

and willpower also comes to into play.

Im trying to lose weight as well. But Im not doing any real "diet". I merely put up some rules like: no soda, junkfood and alcohol on weekdays. And when I get the munchies I eat fruit or green vegetables. Wich you can pretty much eat all you like.

I combinwe this with regular excersize. But because I lift weights and such, I do tend to consume alot of meat and dairy products to get plenty of protein after working out. I dont mind my weight because of this (I only get heavier because of muscle growth) but I do watch my figure because one of my goals is a flat(ter) stomach.

Two pieces of advice, first:

1) Don't shoot for full. Full is usually bad. Instead, learn to shoot for "not hungry", and just live with that. If you can train yourself to only eat when you're truly hungry and not even think about food/eating, it makes it a lot easier.

2) Breakfast changes everything. Have a nice balanced (meaning a good amount of carbs, protein, fat, and especially fiber) breakfast, and you'll find that you'll be hungry a lot less often. I used to be a breakfast-skipper, and I didn't really believe how important breakfast was until I started eating a bowl of oatmeal every morning. That shit makes "not eating" so so so much easier.

That said, anything with a lot of fiber is gonna be good for filling you up, without stressing your intake too much. Aforementioned morning oatmeal is probably number 1. Various vegetables, beans, and WHOLE WHEAT starches, IN MODERATION PLEASE. What I like to grab when I'm hungry and can't really have a full meal is a single large Fuji or Honeycrisp apple. Delicious and filling. Don't eat too many though, apples are pretty much made of sugar and fiber and not much else.
