The minimum is total bullshit. One official PT session, and two unsupervised PT sessions you "do on your own". Best to get a 1.5 mile run in each day with upper body workouts and lower/mid body workouts on alternating days.

Start doing Crossfit, you'll crush the PT test.

Air Force has probably the most laughably easy PT out of any other military branch, except maybe the Coast Guard

The navy's is even more laughable. I say that as a gay-sexing submariner.

Is it the 6 month underway eating midrats and not sleeping enough with no exercise, or the pulling into port and working 12-16 hour work days plus duty days with no exercise that makes you think exercise in the navy is a joke?

I say this as a 900m/year swim club submarining member

That pretty much sums it up. While physically taxing on your body, I wouldn't say it's really exercise. And it's definitely not good for you. I've recently discovered the joy of the stationary bike as the key to a no-effort PRT cycle. SOO fucking easy.

seconded, crossfit. its pretty much a perfect combination of all the aspects of fitness
