Ok..I have two questions..

1 - will body weight exercises (push up/pull up/sit up etc) make me gain weight ? even if it is in muscle, will I still gain weight ?

2- I run/do sit ups/push ups/do cardio every day (running varies,100 push ups a day and 300 sit ups) but I can never get any endurance..my cardio is the same as it was last year.Ive been stuck in the same amount of push ups/sit ups max since forever.could it be my diet ?

You can gain weight from pushups if you are wearing a backpack full of something heavy.

Depends if you increase the difficulty of your BW exercises as you get stronger, and keep the reps in the 5-12 range. One handed/weighted push-ups, weighted pull-ups, planche push-ups and their variations, stuff like that.

Myth. Yes, you'll gain muscle mass and endurance. But you need to do ridiculous amounts of all body weight exercises to see significant results.

I know because from June 2004 to August 2005 I wasn't doing much more than bodyweight exercises. I was preparing for BUD/s, going to BUD/s, then quitting in Hell Week. Oh well. Other than the logs and the boat, everything was bodyweight exercises and endurance physical training. It was more like raep. Regardless, in the beginning of training I lost a lot of weight, and once I really got into the thick of things, I started gaining a lot of muscle mass. I wouldn't recommend doing any exercises at a BUD/s pace or levels, because I'm fairly certain it took years off my life. So all in all, weights. XD
