Breakfast Anonymous
A few months ago I started getting into a decent workout routine. Nothing pro, but enough to drop from a 42-44 waste to 38-40 (Depending on brand). It was definitely a noticeable improvement, random coworkers complimented me out of the blue and a few asked me what had changed.

Anywho, breakfast is one thing that I've never really done. Since middle school (going well over a decade now) I simply haven't eaten breakfast. But I keep reading things about breakfast being pretty important for overall fitness. Including eating smaller but more numerous portions rather than one or two massive meals each day.

I fucking hate waking up in the morning and loathe any day that I have to get up extra early for anything. Is there anything I can start eating in the morning that's both fast to make (or preferably something I can grab-n-go) and healthy?

You can eat shredded wheat cereal for a really quick meal. I also throw in come microwaved scrambled eggs. About 3 minutes prep on that (yes, you can microwave eggs). Finally, oatmeal works. That's about 6 minutes if you follow their microwave instructions.

Really, it doesn't matter what you eat for breakfast. You can bake a turkey dinner the night before and pick at it the next morning, but most people prefer "traditional" breakfast foods.

easy healthy ideas:

make a bunch of hardboiled eggs on the weekend. eat them.

eat a banana.

make smoothies/protein shakes

fried eggs are super easy and fast, use healthy oil like olive or walnut

wholegrain bread w/peantubutter if you aren't a fattyfag

wash it down with a big glass of milk

at minimum, banana and a glass of milk.

Hmm, the banana/milk idea sounds pretty good. And just about any fruit like that I could grab as I head out the door. That, or I can be a complete bastard and eat cereal at work...

Shredded wheat is bite-sized, so you can just bag up a serving or two and eat 'em dry.
