80lbs in 6 months? Anonymous
Over the last year I gained about 80lbs by eating nothing but burgers and doing nothing but browsing /b/. In this time, I also dropped out of university, where I had previously met a wonderful girl (in the pic!)

Recently this girl has been back in contact with me via phone and msn... she's dropped out of uni, too, and is blatantly vulnerable at the moment. However, I have not met up with her yet because of all this excess weight... when she last saw me I was attractive and now I'm an unrecogniseable lard ass. I can put off seeing her for another 6 months, but that's a maximum.

So I come for advice, /b/. Is it possible to lose 80lbs in 6 months WITHOUT resorting to extreme diets (i.e. ones which will leave me feeling like shit)? Has anyone experienced anything similar?

My other concerns are stretch marks and loose skin. If I had the patience I'd lose this weight over a year or two but because of my pride (and circumstances) I'd like to lose it (comparitvely) fast. I'm not sure if 6 months is "extreme" or not for 80lbs but is there anything I can do to minimise stretch marks/loose skin?

Thanks, fitness gurus.

...by the way, I meant to say "/fit/" and not "/b/"... damn copypasta.

Velocity Diet

velocity diet would be some very painful but very epic win...

you should be able to lose at least 50 in 6 months... with velocity diet (almost) anything is possible and you'd be a ripped person at 80 lbs less than your current weight

Velocity diet to drop an initial 20 or so, then anabolic diet + HEAVY Lifting (think rippetoes or west side for skinny bastards)

6 months, you could have a six pack, maybe the beginning of pec striations, and a fuckload more muscle, IF you did velocity - anabolic and STUCK to it.

You wont feel like shit, people have done the anabolic diet for 1+ years with success, fuck, CT (writer on tnation) did a pure ketogenic diet for 9 months without side effects... that's nearly 0 carbs for 9 months.
