I eat my oats plain, no cooking process. Now when I look down at my shit, I see oats as if it were corn I was shitting. Is my body not digesting the oats any longer, or is it the same issue as with corn, where the shell of it doesn't get digested but the rest does?

Heating it up with hot water makes it easier to digest.

Doesn't answer my question about digestion.

Then why did I not experience this when I actually cooked my oats?

Because HEATING IT UP WITH HOT WATER MAKES IT EASIER TO DIGEST. lol

OP here. Fuck you guys. Heating it up makes it easier to digest. So when I cook it / heat it up, I do not observe the oat shells in my shit. So this means they were digested. Yet uncooked / not heated up, I see the shells in my shit.

This means that the shells were digested when cooked, but not when uncooked, meaning it is NOT the same deal as with corn where the full calories are digested and the shell is just undigestable fiber. Based on my observations, I'm led to believe I'm not getting the most out of my uncooked oats since they're not entirely or at all digested.

Now tell me where I'm wrong, fags.

Fuck you faggot.

But how the hell do you make it easier to digest then?

Chewing your food is part of digestion. Therefore heating it up (making it softer, and make it absorb water) is sort of... digesting the oats outside of your body. Same thing as cooking a steak. Cooked meat is easier to digest than raw meat.
