Hey /fit/ I don't know a whole shit load about the best ways to get in shape but I am interested in getting a strong upper body and don't really care TOO much about abdominal muscles or anything below that. If I just work out my upper body would I get the same results (for my upper body) that I would if I worked out upper and lower?

No. Full body workouts are recommended by almost all trainers for maximum results. Plus, you look really fucking distorted if you only work your upper body.

The exercises that cause the most production of natural growth hormones in the body are lower body exercises. You will not grow as fast if you half ass everything.
