So, I just started up on a 5x5 routine, but I'm a little confused on how to start adding weight to the bar, while remaining on track with the routine. It seems that even when I add a bit more weight, I just can't complete the 5 full sets.

Do I continue crapping out during my sets until something happens? Pulling back the weight would seem to make sense, but then I wouldn't be challenging my body every week. Also, the routine has only like 3 exercises, (sqaut, rows, bench) I'm going all out on these but I don't seem very sore/tired at all afterwards. I do nothing very physically demanding all day, and get a ton of sleep so recovery is pretty quick for me. Add more exercises?

go back to stronglifts and read again.
Add press, deadlift and chinups/pullups if you can.
Add weight to all lifts every workout.
Do this until you fail a rep.
Then try it again next workout day.
Try it for a total of three times.
If you still fail, deload by 10%.
If you managed it, add more weight next time.
