>>446084 I don't really care. We aren't as strong because we don't need to be. I like my superior brain, thanks.
>>446134 Chimps have more than 4x the upper body strength. They can swing their bodyweight around like it's nothing. A 135 pound female chimpanzee was tested and was shown to be able to easily pull 1,000 pounds with only one hand. And this is considering chimps only do bodyweight exercises, not strength training.
>>446153 Gorillas can benchpress the equivalent of 4600 pounds. That means that a gorilla can benchpress a car and a half.
Orangutans are actually the strongest apes, according to tests done at the San Diego zoo.
A bear is strong, but a gorilla would wreck it. The gorilla would yell and pet the bear like you would pet a big dog, but the gorilla would break the bear's spine in half without any difficulty.
>>446565 That's right. We are made for endurance and running on the plains, not swinging from trees effortlessly.
>>446602 Nope. Bears are like dogs. They can release all their energy at once in short bursts. A human would outrun a bear and probably a horse, too, in a race that was based on distance.
>>446606 Damn straight. That's part of the reason why we're not as strong as them anymore.
