So, /fit/, I have an unhealthy but very effective way of losing weight.

For lack of a better word, I am currently anorexic. I limit myself to about 500-700 calories daily of whatever I feel like eating that day, whether it be candy bars or Lean Cuisine. I don't worry about fat or trans fat, only calories. I don't exercise.

Right now, I'm 6'3, and I weigh about 190. I started this three days ago, when I weighed 195. Now, this isn't the first time I've done it; three years ago, when I was 17, I weighed about 210 and started myself doing this. Within two and a half months or so I had dropped between 50 and 60 pounds (the lowest I ever got was 145). Aside from being a little lightheaded when I stood up sometimes, I really felt a minimum of negative side-effects. For example, during the middle of it my friends and I started to play basketball every day for a couple of hours. That only lasted a week or so, but I never felt too bad or too tired from my "diet."

I want to get to about 170 (I think it'll probably take four or five weeks), where I'll start eating a little more normally again. My question, /fit/, is how bad is this really for me? Like I said, I never -felt- all that bad, but I dunno. At the same time, I want to make it clear that I don't care about being super-healthy, only thin, to make it easier to get laid.

Nice pathetic life you lead.
>> faggot !kzxLmJyzX.
This is /fit/ - Health & Fitness. Nobody gives a shit about your willingly extremely unhealthy attitude towards your body.

Your body is in starvation mode so your metabolism is slow as fuck now. As soon as you start to eat normally, you'll gain all the weight back in a few days. Also, you're mostly losing water and muscle, not fat.

>I don't exercise
>losing [...] muscle

Not like he/she's gonna have much to lose, if it's a guy you need to stop being such a faggot and do it the real way though and start working out, instead of acting like a prissy angst ridden teenage girl.

oh also:
" I started this three days ago"
"this isn't the first time I've done it;"
"My question, /fit/, is how bad is this really for me? "

that does not sound like anorexia nervosa. That sounds like you being an asshole. please see community.livejournal.com/proanorexia for some thinspo and txt support.

Interesting, i don't recommend it. I know you're doing it in vain because of the rebound effect.

You're getting yourself into something you will possibly never get out of.

Lose weight or maintain weight healthily or else you will be in constant limbo and it will never end.

Actually there's mounting evidence that calorie restrictive diets lengthen life spans.

Hey I did the same thing. 6'1", went from 175 to 128 in 5 months. Ate nothing but max 400 calories a day.

I started working out and gained back up to 140, but got some nice muscles. Recently I got the idea to cut some more fat to show my abs more so for the last two weeks I restricted again down to 134. Now working on eating normal and working out again. More muscle, lower body fat % this time.
