You need to see a doctor about your allergic reaction to amoxicillin. You have a throat infection. The location is probably lower in your throat, which is why the chloraseptic doesn't last long. Keep taking the Biaxin, make sure you keep it down and drink plenty of water when you drink it. Avoid any citrus fruit or citrus drinks, no soda either. Tea with honey should help with some of the throat stuff too. Go heavy on the honey, but make sure you won't choke on it. Honey's also an antibiotic and will rub directly into the infected area. It's safe and has been used in heart surgery so no worries. Just stick it out. You have a bad infection. I had a similar one this last month. I stupidly let it become an ear infection(by picking in my ear at something that was stuck in it) and now I'm on a second round of antibiotics for being dumb. Infections on antibiotics tend to clear up 7-10 days. Next time, ask for a Z-pack. Those kick ass.
