SO I went to the doc yesterday, and found out that my cholesterol is 240 (in b4 "fatass.") My HDL is pretty good (48) but my LDL is 170. that's bad. So, I was wondering what's a good, no-drug way to lower my bad cholesterol. (I don't want to take anti-cholesterol drugs because i'm 30, and I'd like to be able to get a hardon for the next 40 years or so.)

I'm thinking high-fiber, lower fat. WHat are good ways of getting fiber? Are products like Metamucil or Benefiber the right kind of fiber? I"m not a big fan of oatmeal.

SO lay it on me, /fit/ I want to be so fibrous that people confuse me for particle board.

I'd sooner kill myself than stop eating cooked food and instead eat sashimi and egg yolk.

I'm learning about this in school right now, let me counsel you!

Listen here fatty, FDA says to cut saturated fat, and keep fat low. Follow the DASH diet (low fat dairy, lots of fruits and veggies).

You want the truth? do a high fat low carb (<50c/day or lower) but do it for a year or so and your FLP will be amazing.

protip: Harvard Med and Harvard's School of Public Health have gone on record to say that all of the FDA's, AHA's, the 'food pyramid' (in all its renditions),and common nutritionists beliefs are pure, unadulterated shit, and likely RESPONSIBLE for actively making americans the fattest, most unhealthy people on the planet.

so much for you low-fat, high processed carb, 12 servings of pasta a day. but at least you are getting tons of SOY!!! as red meat is the devil.
