What does anon think of this book, should I be listening to it?

I just read chapter 7 and this is some important info I got so far...

Optimal Caloric Intake for Fat Loss = 2400. (female; 1500)
Eat 6 or 7 small meals a day, every 3 hours, 400-480 per meal (female, 5 meals 300 per meal)
Eat a break early, make it largest meal, make dinner smallest, then don't eat 2-3 hours before bed.

Men/2400 calories/six meals: Women/1500 calories/5 meals
Meal 1: 500 Meal 1: 375
Meal 2: 400 Meal 2: 300
Meal 3: 400 Meal 3: 300
Meal 4: 400 Meal 4: 300
Meal 5: 400 Meal 5: 225
Meal 6: 300

All I am wondering is, is this something I should read more into and use as my diet when I'm doing the 5x5 beginner program from stronglifts or what?

Its basically a high protein, low carb diet packed into a book with alot of advice and FAQ. I havent read it since im following the same thing from gaining my own knowledge which pretty much made me be doing the same thing as what you get told in the book, but i will be reading it to see if i missed anything. Simple answer? Yes, follow it.

the late 7chan/fit/ board swore by it back it the days, that's when i first heard of the book and it's a good book. Nicely explained, no bullshit.

Tom Venuto knows what he's talking about.
