I always had my back a little more curved than normal. Hypercyphosis I think it's called. So, I started gym about two months ago, lost about 7kg (lot of cardio nearly everyday), and I also did lot of exercices for the back, shoulders, pecs and abs, esp. as I was told it would help straighten my back by the instructors at the gym. But when I look at myself it seems to be even more curved than before (or it's the same I just notice it more because there's less fat to cover it up?)

Should I go see a physician or whatever they're called; is there any hope to straigthen it without surgery? I'm 20 year old so my bones growth is kinda finished.

Anyone with hypercyphosis has some practical tips or will I be distorted for the rest of my life?

surgery is not an option unless it's really really REALLY bad as they stick nails in your spine that can make you a cripple.
Because ur 20 yo and your bone growth has already finished it can't get worse now. Just keep doing your shit at the gym and swim a lot it works on the back really good. Nothing else you can do.

That's a very minor Kyphosis, certainly it will have zero impact on a normal patients life - both health and social.

Try deadlifts. They're the best muscle-builder for your back (in b4 squatz) and after a few sets of those, you'll be walking stiff as a board for a while.

I went light yesterday, pyramided from 135 to 315, then back down with pull-ups supersetted. My lower back is killing. me. But hey, straight as a board.
