I'm running on an average 4 miles a day (cross country) I lift weights at home just for muscle mass (not really trying to get big) and thats it. I'm 6' 2" 1/2 and i'm a solid 170lbs. I'm trying to lose weight to be healthier, even though my BMI is in the the normal weight range. I've been at it for about 2 months, and i can't seem to get out of the light 170's range. I have a bit of a belly, but its not too bad. Also, i kinda don't eat very much from 6:20 a.m till about 4.

Any suggestions on what I should do?

Be a champ and run more after XC practice, my coach used to love that shit. Also, eat 6 300 calorie meals a day, with 2 hours in between each meal. Keep it low carb, and high protein, fat should be adequete. Don't eat less than 3 hours before you go to bed. All your carbs should be consumed in the morning and all your fats at night, protein should be all day.

Keep this up and you'll loose fat easily. I feel your pain, because it's us distance runners that get the most fat, even though we burn the most calories, but it's just your body learning how to burn fat efficiently, hence you hold on to more fat.

Good luck.
