How how can I increase the distance I jog? I'm in pretty good shape but I can't jog a mile.
>> Anonymous
Then you're not in pretty good shape dumbass. GODDAMN PEOPLE if you want to get good at something then do it, often. FUCK.
>> Anonymous
Come on man, I just started running outside for the first time in my life a week ago, and I can jog 1.75 miles before I walk a little for rest.
>> Anonymous
lol law of non contradiction disagrees with your question.. wtf.. jog a mile... how long will it take you? slowly make goals towards a faster time..
jog with someone that you wouldnt want to look like a moron in front of, but who is slightly more in shape than you, this will push you, which will help you get in shape faster

I was talking to the OP. I'm a fattie that just started running outside for the first time in his life.

OP here.
In all likely hood I'm greatly over judging the length of a mile. Whats the best way to tell distance?

Hard to just judge. Find a trail or something in a park and go for it. Or a treadmill, but I find myself being slower on a treadmill than I normally run.

I've been running in the backwoods country, but I'll see about going to a gym or something. (no parks with trails like that that I know of around here)

Diet does have its effects on acne. The problem is that it isn't as simple as "oily foods like pizza cause acne" or "chocolate breaks me out" - its all in how your body responds to different foods. Some people have acne because they are lactose intolerant, and after quitting dairy have clear skin. Insulin spikes from certain foods = hormone changes, which can = acne

The only reason doctors and derms say otherwise is because it's far too complicated to just cutting certain foods out unless it's obvious (like lactose intolerance)
and because giving you prescriptions is far easier

The first question is just a myth, and is only ever recognized in teenagers who, surprise surprise, have "raging" hormones changing their vellus hair. Does shaving speed this up? (because your body starts regrowing the hair faster to it's "normal" length.. ) Maybe? I don't really know, just something I've assumed

i did it by just killing myself. I ran for about a mile for like a month, and then I bumped it up to 5 miles and would run until i finished or died

OP here.
wtf. I'm 5'10, weigh 133 or so, and I'm pretty muscled. but damnit running kills me. I also just started running.

also, grats on the weight loss.

>>94556

You're lying about something here. I am 5'8" and weigh 158. I actually am pretty muscled, so there's no way in hell you're 5'10" AND weigh 133 AND have a muscular body type. Maybe no body fat, but certainly not well-built.

>>94556

I'm 5'10" 145lbs with a small frame and I don't consider myself to be that well built at all...; I was 125lbs when I started.

I drove down the street and took note of where one mile was.

maybe people don't get the corelation, that skinny for your height , doesn't make you in shape. and muscular endurance and cardiovascular endurance are completely different. you can be cut, and have no cardio, you can be chubby and have great cardio. you can average looking and have great of both or horrible of both. get it right people, jog a mile 3 times a week lift weights 2 times a week, eat right , live long, fuck women.

You need cardiovascular training. Try doing excersizes that get your heart rate up really high and get you really out of breath (HIIT, etc.) This will stress your cardiovascular system and whip it into shape.

The better your lungs/heart work, the better they deliver oxygen to your muscles, and the less tired you feel. Eventually you can run longer distances with more intensity.

Today I run 5,4 kilometres and that's something about 3 and half a mile. Is it win?
I do it every day, and it takes me something about 25 to 30 minutes. I don't have any more time, so that's how it will stay.

keep running = better running

Strangely, I can get my heart rate very high doing squats (like, 1 squat per second, no weights).
