Would cardio in any amount have effects on my strength development?
>> Anonymous
I believe overdoing cardio makes your body begin to eat muscle for energy, I suppose you could cancel that out by eating a small meal in advance of running.

Those are some mammoth legs!
>> rowerfag
>>63816
you are wrong

your body eats muscle when it's starving and out of carbohydrates

high level rowers do what lifterfags call cardio... they are ripped

Not in ketosis or fat burning mode.

This is what got me interested in the olympic lifts.

what? His bulge? You faggot.
>> ESH !Oj4wGhYfsE
>>64255

Hint: you get quads from squatting, not the Olympic lifts in general. However, check out that dude's traps and posterior deltoids. That's why people should O-lift.

>>64259
lol, wut? while they use squats as a supplemental movement, both the olympic lifts require coming out of a full squat at the bottom of the movement (hence the using the squat as a supplemental movement). the full names of the olympic techniques are actually squat-clean (and jerk) and squat-snatch, as opposed to the power and hang versions used to help training.

so hush now.

You don't necessarily have to O-lift in order to develop a lower body like the OP posted. All you have to do is full squat.

You can't be this stupid...I hope.

You won't have an outrageous vertical jump though.

>>63890
Agreed. Tabata burpees = cardio for men.

the fuck you say you lying little monkey boy. this is what you said here, bitch:

>>64259
>>Hint: you get quads from squatting, not the Olympic lifts in general.

you're saying here that the lifts in general do not develope the quads, which is lies lies lies as they are a squat movement to begin with, and then you say:

>>64276
>>You don't necessarily have to O-lift in order to develop a lower body like the OP posted. All you have to do is full squat.

>>You can't be this stupid...I hope.

which has got about fuck all to do with your premise in your first post, where you explicitly say that its the o-lifts don't develope the quads. you fucking monkey, either learn to english or stop changing your fucking story when your bullshit gets contradicted.
>> ESH !Oj4wGhYfsE
>>64284

I never said that the O-lifts don't develop the quads. They do. The first person I quoted said that the OP's lower body development is what made them interested in the Olympic lifts. I said, you don't get giant legs from o-lifting, but squatting. As in, you could just as easily squat and never do a snatch/c&j in order to develop that lower body.

I'll learn to English if you learn to comprehend.

>>I said, you don't get giant legs from o-lifting, but squatting.

and there you go again. the correct english would be you don't get giants legs ONLY from o-lifting, you can get them from squatting AS WELL. goddamn smurf, do i look like your mother? you gonna make me raaaaage boy, just like that.
>> Anonymous
The o-lifts are more of a deadlift movement before it turns into a squatting movement, numbskulls. Pulling up, then pushing up, get it?
>> H.I.T.Man
Don't do any cardio if you want pure muscle mass/size gains and strength gains.

That's bullshit.
Cardio is good and nice.
Swimmers have great figure and race bikers got legs twice the size of your waiste.

Right thats why the best and biggest body builders in the world don't it?
>> Anonymous
>>64629
Being fit doesn't mean being a body builder. And they do cardio or take steroids. Either one.
>> Anonymous
>>64629
Boxers do cardio till they puke and they're strong.
I can't believe that olympic lifters would skip cardio either.
A weak heart and lung system can't be contributing to strength.
Tldr: Cardio, even if it's only for warmup.

Bodybuilding is not a sport. Its a mental illness called vanity.
