Hey there /fit/. I'd like some advice putting together a practical, portable meal for someone trying to gain weight.I lift weights, yes, a simple routine, but I plan to take it up a notch soon. As for now, I am trying to gain muscle mass. Right now, I've been eating convenient food where ever I can get it, because I hate carrying a packed lunch. I'm talking about takeaway and coffee shop foods. I don't like eating it, and it sure as hell doesn't count for a decent meal. So for the sake of my body, I'm putting in the extra effort. That's not to say I don't want to go about it intelligently.I'm aware of the basics concerning what I should be eating. But the problem is packing it. For example, as nutritious as it may be, I'm going to be pissed off when I have to open a container of preprepared tuna pasta after I've been knocking it around for three hours. So help me out here, /fit/, it's around about 12:30, I open my lunchbox, what should I be seeing?
>>20999Find a protein powder you like, get a shaker cup, and put the protein powder in the shaker cup.Add water (or milk), shake, and vuala!About as easy as you can get. lol
Gain weight you say?!
>>21001I have protein powder, but it's more of a supplement. It's a good idea though, I should take it, but, I want to eat. What about my veggies? My carbs? How do I get a varied diet in there? It doesn't fit easily into a sandwich.
>>20999Get a small flask and fill it with olive oil. Take a few swigs each day. There's over 250 calories per ounce, so it builds up quickly. Just don't go drinking a hole cup a day right off the bad or you'll shit your pants badly. (Think Alli.)
