when you're picking her up initially you're grasping her body, but you're actually squatting her weight up; thats why its easy... your legs/glutes/hams come into play.
However when you're holding her up, its your upper body strength that keeps her up there; thats why you're having trouble keeping her up there for very long.
also your core is going to come into play balancing both yourself and her weight as you pummel into her.
this is one of those few times that your biceps will need to be strong but it wil lbe more of an endurance issue... hence more reps to give your biceps greater endurance.
traps, shoulders, forearms, back, etc. your entire upper body and core.
i'd focus more on endurance - greater reps.
