Probably asked a billion times...

Is there a good way to start a "lean" diet (protein, boiled chicken, fish, whatnot) without having ability to cook well?

I am sure none of you fellow gentlemen cook that often, so how did you work into a healthier diet without being able to prep food?

Learn to cook.
If you live on your own : Use google
If you live with your parents, ask the one who does the cooking how to prepare a certain food.

most supermarkets have precooked foods. when i'm lazy, i go grab 2 small cooked chickens (about 1.5 kg each), strip the meat and put it in the fridge. usually enough for 3-4 meals for me. it is more expensive, but my kitchen sucks and awkward to prepare bigger meals in.

and yeah, cooking ain't hard. learn to do it.

I'm pretty sure everyone here cooks, just start out simple with a raw chicken breast, you can tenderize or make it flat if you want, season with pepper or salt or whatever, then throw it in a pan with olive oil if neccesary. cook until you reckon it's done, but check by cutting it in half before you eat it.

cooking isnt hard.

You can get skinless chicken, god don't boil it. Grill this shit, steam some veggies. I went from 220 to 175 sans exercise just by eating right. I would usually cook 3 chicken breasts at a time, throw some in some tupperware for work that night, steam some broccoli, shit was delicious

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised you actually cook /fit/. Realize I sounded kinda dumb applying my personal bias to the whole of the unit.

Anyways, thanks. I guess I should stop being so lazy and afraid and just do it.
