Hey /fit/, I guess you could say im kind of a newfag at weight lifting, and need help from some oldfags.

I bought a home gym and have been working out a lot for about 7 months now, a pretty expensive home gym (Its a big cage, stacked with all free weights, no machine.) Yet i guess im not getting full results as I would like.

Iv'e been using NO-explode, as picture, to help focus and gain weight. I guess im not completely satisfied with it really, and ive only gained a total of 5 pounds in the 7 months. I am 5 foot 9 and 160, im pretty insecure about my weight, I feel like I'm to skinny.

So knowing that, i suppose my question to /fit/ is: Is there a better work out routine i can follow to get better results, and gain weight? Or is there maybe a better supplement that yall have used that helped you pack on moar pounds?

Ask questions and ill tell you anything moar extensive, please.

tl;dr: I feel to thin, and i feel NO-explode is junk, is there something better then that, and/or a better routine i can follow when working out to gain weight.

Well, generally lifting heavy weight slowly uses the most muscle fibers, requires the greatest control and reduces the chance for injury.

Of course you don't just do slow reps thats fucking retarded, but there is no reason not to do a few slow reps to ignite the last bunch of muscle fibers. Which increases strength.

What does NOxplode have to do with weight gain? It's an all in one miracle powder now?

Drink 2x whey protein shakes and one Casein before bed you have taken 1g protein per body pound without even counting real food..
BSN also makes that Truemass shit too.

wrong, lifting with maximal effort recruits the most muscle fibers. lifting slow just recruits the slow twitch more and the fast twitch less

it doesn't do anything, its just a stimulant that temporarily dialates your blood vessels. there is no direct carry over to muscle growth.
