Any other swim fags out there?

I've been involved in the sport since I was young and I love how fit it keeps me, I eat 3000+ calories a day and still have BMI of 22.

i used to be on the swim team when i was a kid and in highschool

now im 21, 30 pounds overweight and if i swim a 500 i feel like im about to die

STILL LOVE IT THOUGH

I like swimming, but doing it as a workout or competetive sucks, because its just boring. If I run or ride my bike I can atleast listen to some music...

It's not boring if you swim fast and not just flap around your arms fatty

the best part is when you epically rape someone in a race then when you look over at him to say good race and hes about to shake your hand you say

SIKE and pull your hand back

the best part is when you're finishing up a 400im and you feel like you're gonna die but you just keep pushing until you finish. Then you get out, throw up and accept your medal.

I almost drowned when I was 10, haven't swam since.

You're so badass, I wish I had the balls to pull that one off.

Why is it that swimmers look all weird and stuff? Genuine question, I'm curious. They just seem like even though they're ripped, they got a layer of fat on them. Does that happen naturally to protect against cold water?

I wish I had been raised a swimmer because my life's goal is to do one badass thing on every continent ("badass" means "cool and kinda hard" here, not "fucking difficult as shit"), and Europe's would be to swim the English Channel. But seeing as how relatively few people have done it, I can only assume it's because (1) only expert swimmers make the swim, and (2) GODDAMN SHARKS.

NA: ?
SA: ?
Europe: ?
Africa: ?
Asia: climbed Mt. Fuji (climbing over the great wall would have been cool, too)
Antarctica: either ski at the south pole or bathe in a hot spring
Australia: ? Maybe climb Ayer's Rock?

SWUM, faggot, not SWAM

use the past participle with auxiliary verbs, so have + SWIM --> have swum

Fuck yea that's cool idea, here's some more ideas for you

NA: Hike the Appalachian Trail, or the 2 other 1000 mile trails in the US.
SA: Parachute into Columbian drug lord territory, escape from jungle
Europe: Tour de France? Eurofags help out here
Africa: Sahara desert trek? Niggers help out here
>Asia: climbed Mt. Fuji (climbing over the great wall would have been cool, too)
>Antarctica: either ski at the south pole or bathe in a hot spring

I don't think he means the actual race. There's a bunch of tour companies that take you on the race route, only over a couple of weeks.

thanks for the suggestions

I actually forgot that a couple weeks ago I was thinking that hiking that PCT or whatever it is that is in the western US and stretches from Mexico to Canada would be cool, but it takes like 6 months and I'm not exactly at a stage in my life where I can take off of life for 6 months--maybe I can round out by doing that if I can retire early (fuck I'd better)

They're skinny, and but they have that thin layer of fat on them. If anyone is a collegiate athlete here, like me, then you would immediately know that the swim team is also known as the 'fat boy team'.

>swimming in cold water stimulates the appetite to increase caloric consumption

>However, the typical body fat levels of these athletes are significantly higher than runners or cyclists who expend similar or even smaller amounts of energy in their training.
