french bread, /fit/, good or bad? about how many calories would you say the pic has? I get mine from Publix and it's damn delicious, but I dunno. I don't want to waste my calories, though bread is filling...

Not whole grain = bad. Loaf of rye.

If your bodytype is that of a fatty then neglect it.

I used and still use to eat bread a lot. Often plain if it tastes really good. 200-250g a day, usually fills me enough to serve as a meal even though it's not the healthiest route to go for a meal (compensate with fruits and stuff during the day and your other meals). 110lbs here btw, eating bread doesn't mean you have to be a fatty.

You could make it a reward for accomplishing an exercise achievement. "Oh man, If I run 2 miles today I am going to eat me some bread" I do that sometimes but you have to have the willpower not to be like "I want bread *chomp*, I should run now....maybe later"

I enjoy my baked good, fresh bread included. I find myself eating less now that I've switched over from empty calorie white bread to whole wheat and Squirrely bread. I find myself eating it less often and in less amounts.

Last summer I was eating up to three pieces of white bread slathered with peanut butter and honey, but after switching over one slice of whole grain with a bit of almond butter fills me up and gives me the same satisfaction.
