Hey /fit/, newfag in the world of strength training here.
I'm in my second week of strength training, and I'm having trouble with bench pressing. On my last set my left shoulder starts to pop and and hurt a lot, so I have to stop because I'm afraid of dropping the bar. It's happened my last two sessions and is the only thing keeping me back besides my bad deadlifting form.
Should I back up on the weight a little and get the form right, then move up again? I'm underage b& so I'm kind of worried about messing up underdeveloped joints.

Deload because its probably to heavy for you. Better to learn the correct form before pushing out the heavy stuff. Shoulder injuries are a bitch to heal.

go to stronglifts and read their shit about proper form. Train with lighter load until you feel safe with your form. Avoid injury, avoid pain.
