keeping a 198+ heart rate for a minute+ sucks, although i did beat my old time by 2.2 seconds!

no he means that you can semi get a heart attack, and semi for heart attacks means that you'll just get a heart attack.

that doesn't make sense at all, so don't exercise because you'll get a heart attack? i want to know how you people do your HIIT, walk @ 120HR then run to 160HR?

seriously when I tabata my heart rate is 190+ throughout the whole thing pretty much. and it should be since training at anything below 95% of your MHR is worthless for tabata

500 meters is not really a good indicator of anything muscle strength, if you want to gauge VO2 max and anaerobic threshold and all that good stuff, do the standard 2,000 m test

i'll do that next week. i've never done a straight 2000m before other than a warm-up @ 155-160 HR which i did in 8:12. though i've done a 5000m and got 18:32
