Recently I've started taking better care of my body, eating less and healthier quantities and exercising more.
At the moment I can do about 1 Lap around a Football oval ( Jogging )before having to stop and walk for a while, My Chest gets tight and I just get an overall fatigue.
Obivously this is payback from years of treating my body like crap, which is fair enough..

My Question is if I jog every day how long will it actually be till I can jog a few miles comfortably?

Well, figuring one lap around the football field is [about and a BIG about] 1/4 of a mile. Four of those would be about a mile...

Hm... Based on my well thought out and carefully precised measurements, I'd say ... that you didn't give enough info. Try again. We need height, weight, and how many days a week you are doing this, as well as how long you have been doing this for.

I'd say you probably aren't going to make it. But hey, if you really want to know, I would guess about three weeks, honestly. Just make sure you keep up your weight loss and you'll be good to go.

Don't tease him, he's not going to go from 1/4 mile to a "few" miles (3?) in three weeks. OP, just keep it up, when you get there, you get there. Also, try running when its cooler out.
