Sup /fit/I have a problem with my jogging.I have recently started jogging (about 1 month ago) and it all went well at the start.Now 1 month on I am trying to do a 3 mile run but after 100Meters or so my legs start to ache and go all stiff on me.I have tried having days rest from this but it didn't help it.Have I got arthritis in my knees?pic semi related, it's not me.. unfortunatley.
Do you stretch and warm up before you run?Sometimes if I feel like I need a better warm-up, I walk for 5 minutes.
>>60088I stretch all my leg muscles possible for about 10 seconds. I should try a walk around the block next time I go out.But if I have arthritis i'm knackered jobwise too. :(
stretch, warm up, what kind of running shoes do you wear? You might have heavy pronation, which means your feet roll inwards when you land, and if thats the case, it can really throw your joints out if you are in the wrong shoes.
I am wearing some nike running shoes I bought the other week for jogging.I must say, I have felt my feet going in while doing this. I'll jog in another pair tonight and see the difference.
