you can stand out of the seat, and pedal faster sure.
if you actually have a bike and not some recumbent/stationary thing, the plan the HIIT to be hill sprints- you know, going up hill- which you can just mimick by standing out of the seat and pedaling harder anyways lol!
but it sounds like you are 15, fat and have a bmx. In which case, you should probably just go play WoW.
