I started asking my fellow man what a good way to start getting toned & muscular would be, & many of them say something along the lines of "Do a shitload of push-ups."

Some people say do elevated ones, one guy said "Count, and take 10 seconds to lower yourself down, then push yourself back up quickly," and some say do diamond push-ups, pushups with my arms out wide to help build definition, amongst other things.

Just wondering if you had any input for a guy who wants to do push-ups correctly & effectively.

basically, just do a fuckton of pushups

wide grip ones train your chest, close grip ones (also diamond) train your triceps


once you hit the spot where the number of your max repetitions doesn't increase anymore, do elevated or weighted ones
