Hey /fit/, fatty here. I recently broke 300lb* and figured enough was enough, I gotta cut the shit. I'm thinking of just eating canned goods supplemented with water and some fresh foods for snacks. I'm thinking of just eating a can of fruit cocktail for breakfast, a vegetable based soup for lunch, and a meat based soup for dinner. My question is though, how much is the sodium gonna fuck me over eating nothing but soup, and how much does canning actually detract from the nutritional value?

*not as bad as it sounds, I'm 6'4". Still obese, but I don't look *THAT* bad.

week 1:
bowl of cheerios with skim milk, serioulsy, 1 cup, bit a huge salad bowl
bread turkey cheese sandwich, no mayo
a dinner thats 300 calories

week 2:
same

week 3: no cheese on sandwich

week 4 dinner is a bowl of cheerios.

eat maintenence on the weekends, (around 2000 calories approx)

after week 4 you may need to replace the bread with lettuce. walk for 1 hour everyday. you should loose 40 lbs in 2 months on this.

dont live like this, its just a severe jump start

You'll want to knaw off your god damn arm if you eat like that. You're a big guy if you're 6'4'' and 300lbs. Eating maybe like 2000 calories would be good. I don't know what this canned food idea you have is; it sounds like some kind of diet scam, and it also sounds like it'd taste like shit.

You don't have to starve yourself, just don't be stupid about what you eat. Stick to stuff that's high in protein (helps you ward off hunger), eat vegetables and fruits (preferably fresh, not the can shit), avoid fatty foods (fast food), get some exercise.

If you go jog or bike for 30 minutes a day 3 or 4 times a week and eat around 2000 calories a day, you'll see results at your weight. It won't give you a perfect physique, but you'll see losses.

i do a shitload of cardio and never eat canned food. try jogging and not dieting or eating like a pig! you will lose or gain the weight your bodys optimal weight. lolscience!
