what does it stand for? i thought it was High Intensity Training - as in, big weights + low reps = muscle mass.

yeah, High Intensity training. That be the one. It's so two sided, half the people say it's inafective, and others sware by it. Ive been doing it for a couple of mounths and it's very effective. Just wondering if anyone had any experience.

it is the intensity of the work done rather than the volume, and you only need 2 real work sets

You mean HIIT? High Intensity Interval Training? If you think it's called HIT you've probably been doing it wrong for a couple of months.

I do super slow HIT training, which is HIT... but you take 20 seconds to do a single rep. It has worked very well for me, I've been doing it for 2 months.

You need a trainer for it however. Otherwise, conventional is probably better.
