/fit/ I've been browsing for a while and I need some help.
I suddenly realized there might be something seriously wrong with me.

My ex broke up with me a few months ago after over two years together and it completely destroyed my confidence and left me deeply depressed for a while.

I've gotten over the depression a little but for the past 4 or 5 months all I do is work out about 5 days a week. I always get more than enough sleep but recently I've been very tired both physically and mentally while at the same time being incredibly pissed off and depressed, in addition to this I feel like I have a lot of pent up energy which is weird considering how tired and sore I am.

TLDR: Is it bad to be depressed and angry at the same time while also being exhausted and full of energy simultaneously somehow?

The only way to describe it if you don't understand is I'm really tired and sore but feel like I want to go running or get into a fight with someone and fall asleep at the same time.

Thanks, I'll try adding more cardio to my workout though, I can't do much more since I do it completely from home but right now it's primarily just working free weights

I know how to hit things, I took 5 years of martial arts back in middle/high school.
Like I said I'm limited in what workouts I can do since I'm broke and work out at home.

There's nothing like practicing backfists for 20 minutes to get rid of my aggression for the day.

What I'm hearing is:
- you're aggro about something
- you're not sure what that something is, or not admiting it to yourself
- you're working out like crazy
- working out is not helping with the thing that makes you aggro.

proposed solution: take a good hard look into yourself (endoscope not required) and figure out what's really got you angry. In my experience when I'm angry at anything it stems from my own insecurities. I'm not pointing a finger. I'm just saying.
Personally, I'd suggest going out and becoming social again. We're social creatures. Cutting off from the herd is bad mojo. Plus which you already know that what you're doing isn't getting you a girlfriend, so why do MORE?

Thanks and I guess it is true that I'm only pissed at myself when I think about it

My main problem (I think) is that I look at myself and go "Why would any woman ever want to even look at me" since even though I've lost about 60 pounds a few years ago and more recently another 10, I'm still slightly overweight (188 and 5'11") which is also my confidence problem.
