I'm trying to get toned and the internet is full of mixed ideas and theories, what do you recomend.

I'm not fat, and have muscle being built up through daily push ups and sit ups but i'm bulcking up, not toning.

Run, cycle, play tennis etc.

Toning takes longer. Stop doing floor exercises and go outside.

If you've lurked for any length of time, you should already know this, but you have to cut fat and build muscle. If you want to have a visible six-pack, you have to have around 8% body fat. You can still have abs above that, but it might still look like fat.
