quick question

I'm about to end my bulking phase and start cutting. I eat 6 small meals a day now and am going to continue it but should I cut out the protein shakes/bars? I feel like its going to be harder to lose weight taking them everyday.

i think you will need protien to maintain muscle mass. well i don't know much about cutting.

Two things.

1: You should cut out the shakes/bars maybe, if they're high in fat and sugar, and switch to straight up whey.

2: You definitely shouldn't cut them out without replacing them with some other source of protein. If instead of them you eat chicken or tuna or plain whey, then go for it, but you definitely need protein to help with retaining muscle.
