i have no motivation to get up in the morning. I wake up at 7:30, and eat my breakfast (it's brought to me ... yeh, i know) then lie there till like 8:05 watching TV then i get up, shower, and im out by 8:15. I'm almost always late.

How do i motivate myself to get up, or is there a cause beyond mental? Is it lack of sleep? Lack of vitamins? etc.

i've also read some other stuff, like stretching and getting blood into your limbs helps. I find that my frame of mind in the morning is NOTHING like it is at night. I dont really know what causes it .. how can i snap out of this especially? if i could i'd be able to excercise more in the morning.

this used to work for me, but after a while i just went to bed again. now i use four alarm clocks that each go off 2mins after another in an attempt to keep me awake/annoyed long enough that i won't fall asleep again, but it still doesn't work. I am just not a morning person and getting to work by 5:30am is fucking hard.

I've made it a habit to jump out of bed immediately and start some light calisthenics, followed by stretchs, ianly targetting my spine.

I set two alarm clocks out of reach of my bed, so I have to get up. That usually does the trick.

The only time I have a problem is when I get so little sleep, I wake up half dreaming. I'll get up and hit the alarm, but it doesn't register that alarm = I have somewhere to be, so I just go back to sleep.

get an alarm clock that allows you to put a custom sound on it.
set the sound to the most annoying thing you can think of--such as: screams, white noise, babies crying, etc.

also place the alarm clock somewhere far away from your bed. maybe put it in a little case that has a locking mechanism.

I'm same as you, OP. I hit snooze for over an hour. Lately I get out of bed at 8:00, which is also the time I'm supposed to be at the office.

If you have a nice friend that's starting their day slightly earlier than you, ask them to call you and tell you to get up. That strangely works for me.
