You can't lose bodyfat and gain muscle mass at the same time, they require opposite eating habits (cutting means eating less net calories than you burn, bulking is more).

Yeah. Also, cutting is more naturally appropriate for a human being. I'd rather cut than bulk and you can build muscle endurance while cutting in which case your muscles will get bigger and stronger anyway.
