Hey /fit/

I know these threads are a dime a dozen but I just wanted some advice regarding my body. I am over 6ft tall and I weight around 220-230 pounds. What should I be doing to slim down? I don't eat a whole lot believe it or not and I do exercise on occasion. Anyway, if you could give me some pointers or give me directions to websites with good work out methods, it would be much appreciated! Thanks.

You are no exception to the laws of thermodynamics. If you weigh > 200 pounds, you eat a lot. You just htink that you don't.

Go take a piece of paper and write down EVERYTHING as you eat tomorrow, you'll be surprised.

Snacks and shit that are loaded with sugar, even though they are smaller. Are not really saving you all the much fat.

If your about 6 feet and 230 lbs, your target weight should be around 180 pounds or so, thats a pretty good weight for being 6 feet tall. You can change that number according to your goals.
Heres how to lose the weight.

step 1: Get rid of bad habits, eating fast food, drinking soda, smoking etc.

step 2: Join a gym and begin a workout routine, be sure to see your doctor before beginning. Focus on cardio but do not neglect weight training.

step 3: Write down everything you eat for a week. Once the week is over take a look at your eating habits and change them into habits that will help, not hurt you. research nutrition and the foods you should be eating, then eat them.

Step 4: Get the proper amount of sleep every night. Your muscles can't grow without sleep and you can't perform at your peak when you are tired.

Step 5: Record your workouts in a journal, and keep tabs on how you are eating as well

Do this for 3 months and you will have lost atleast 10 lbs, probubly more.
