Protip: Holding onto muscle takes more calories than holding onto fat. Once your body realises it's starving, it will break down muscle first as it takes more calories to hold onto, and it will also store as much fat as possible due to being sent into starvation mode.
Don't water fast, it fucks up your bodies metabolism entirely, all these fad diets are conjured up by people who know fuck all about dieting or nutrition in the first place. If you want to lose weight, just eat 500 calories below your maintenance level (the amount it takes to eat without gaining or losing weight), have high amount of protein to minimise muscle loss and maximise fat loss, and do cardio exercise. Viola.
