Oily skin sucks Anonymous
I'm 29 and haven't had acne/oily skin since I was a teenager, and now shit is back with a vengeance. What the fuck. So my doc put me on benzoyl peroxide gel and clindamin phosphate for the acne, and I am using some pure aloe gel for a moisturizer or some shit. It's working well.

But I still have super oily skin. I can wash my face and look like crap again in about 40 minutes. What works? Looking for OTC products I can buy off the interwebs or from a drugstore.

PLEASE help, ANY advice is appreciated.

You have acne at 29? Did you start new medication or start a cycle?

Nah, my hairline started receeding too so it's some kind of hormonal shit. My medication, diet, and lifestyle has not changed over the years at all.

I don't really mind that it's happening at this point in my life, but the oily skin pisses me off to no end.

you need some of those oil blotting sheets. yes, you'll feel gay, especially since you'll probably need to go to sephora or some shit, or at the very least the teenage girls section of a CVS

go to costco and buy their proactiv knockoff brand, its the same shit but cheaper and you get twice as much. you will probably break out more for a month but after that you might only get a pimple here or there.

try changing your diet. lower your milk and sugar intake. See if it helps. No guarantee.

I've always used those round cotton pad and just put some rubbing alcohol on it and then run it over my face. It dries out your skin more and you can't keep doing it every 2 hours or else you'll have dead skin city. However it's probably much cheaper and you'll definitely get more for a lower price.

is proactiv actually worth it? I keep hearing how great it is, but shit's expensive.

evaluate your habits. Did anything change recently? Eating habits for example? for example, when I binge on chocolate, I get pimples growing speedily like a motherfucker still at age 26
