I've recently lost a lot of weight, and have developed some nasty stretch marks in between my shoulder and bicep.I would now like to start lifting weights, mostly curls and bench pressing, in order to get my body into my desired look and to gain some of the muscle that I lost. My fear is that I don't want to make my stretch marks worse due to lifting weights and stretching my arms out even more.Is there a way around this? Any ideas on how I can gain muscle mass while limiting the amount of stretch marks I get on my arms? As of right now, they look pretty bad, and seem like they could get worse. Some info: I'm 23 years old, am 5'10 and weigh 172 pounds.tl;dr: How do I gain muscle without getting stretch marks? Thanks, /fit/
do it slowly? id be proud if i got stretch marks while gaining muscle, it means youre doing something right.helps if you get a tan along the way.
I have them too, they are natural don't worry too much about them.
