Sup /fit/? During a work out, I know its important not to over eat or go far fast yor caloric intake but at around 3 AM I usually get the acid stomach feeling and need to eat something.

tl;dr Should I eat even though I met my calorie needs?

Pic unrelated.

Eat when you're hungry. Don't worry about that shit unless you're 300lbs.

spread your meals out into more but smaller meals, with healthy stuff instead of junk; that way you won't be hungry, and if you are, it won't have mattered

If you're going to sleep in under three hours, don't eat anything. Also, if you've counted your calories and you're at your limit, just tough it out and go hungry. What is your intake anyways?

well eat an apple for example when you get hungry.

eat lots of fibre because when you have food moving through the system it makes you feel more full

this includes apples, cereal, etc.

if your hungry, eat unsalted brown rice crackers. only eat about 3 or 4, its usually not that youre actually hungry, but just FEELING hungry out of habit. eating 3 or 4 or 5 should calm it down.

2000. I figured if I get an apple or a small cup of cereal that it would be ok.

If you're hungry, eat some fruits or vegetables that are high in fiber. Actually, eat as many of those as you want, seeing as the fiber helps LOADS more than the extra 100 calories you're gonna take in.

Hmm, 2000 is a bit on the low-end for an adult male. Unless you're under 160cm(a little over five feet I believe?), and live a completely sedentary lifestyle, you could probably get away with adding a couple hundred calories a day.

The 3AM wake-up used to happen to me.
Go with fruit, the cereal or maybe a low-fat yogurt. Keep it light.
