Hey /fit/ Yes i am a newfag well atleast to this section anyways, im pretty close to anorexia lol, anyways i started going to a local gym in my town called " The Temple Of Fitness "
at first probably 3 months ago i was going well started in april this year 2008 i just kept going back and i have had this feeling I should keep going and never give up then all of a sudden i just got LAZY and stopped going i wanna know how i can stop being so fucking lazy i really wanna go back but find myself extremely to lazy plus the gym trainer luke isn't exactly happy

also could /fit/ recommend some good foods / drinks that might help with weight gain

Sometimes I like to have a recovery day but usually I just want to get back to lifting as soon as possible.

You just need to push yourself. Push yourself to get into the gym 3-4 times a week. Push yourself to lift heavy. Push yourself to eat, and to eat frequently. You want to be aiming for 6 or so meals a day. I suggest you invest in a good quality weight gain powder as it will help you get those extra calories.

Look for the articles on hardgainer nutrition, and amatuer training.

If you want to get big, you will get big eventually: but there is no easy way, you will have to break your balls to put every pound on, and break your balls to keep every pound on. Good luck.

Makes me rage. It's so fucking easy if you're a super skinnyfag. All you have to do is eat a lot and lift weights, aka the fun parts of getting fit. No fucking counting calories, eating on a rigid schedule, controlling carb/sugar/flour intake, no hard ass HIIT or intense cardio or circuit training where you really have to mentally and physically push yourself to the limit on a regular basis to lower body fat.

How hard is it to just eat cake and cookies and steak and cheeseburgers or whatever the fuck you want and do 5 sets of 5 reps of some compound lifts 3 times a week while you listen to your iPod.

I'm pretty sure that while those builking have a little more flexaility anyone who was seriously going about it would be unlikely to eat cookies and cheeseburger all that often.

And hey - if you make allowances for it you can eat that shit sometimes while you are trying to reduce your BF%. Go you!
