Does brisk walking (say, 1.5 miles over half an hour) need to be relegated to every other day like jogging would, or does the human body not need rest from something so mild?If I start up HIIT, should I do walking on the days I'm not HIITing for MAX FIT?
Well it's hardly the same intensity as jogging. Listen to your body, but a fit person shouldn't need a day off from something like that.
No you don't need to go walking/jogging everyday if you diet compliments your HIIT, and don't go over your BMR then you're fine.
Glad someone else does this, I go for an hour and a half though, somewhere a little over 6 miles.
