Just went to a 2hr workout mis/fit/s (30min Cardio, 1hr Free weights, 30min machines), and seeing as I've just started this whole "getting into shape" thing, I've got a few probably simple questions.

First off, I just bought and chugged one of these bad boys after the workout, thing cost me $2.75. Would it be better to have a protein shake before or after the workout? 35g of Protein in here. Also, that seems a little expensive for a simple can of protein, should I be buying cases from GNC or the like, or should I change brands altogether?

My other question is - now that I've finished and it's around lunchtime, would it be reasonable to supplement this with some solid food (turkey, chicken, mostly low-fat meats and some vegetables, I'm trying to stay away from carbs if I can) or should I wait until din din time? Thanks!

you know what would have been cheaper? if you stole it. I mean, how fucking hard is it to steal a can? not to mention nobody's going to care or do anything about it.

Protein is good postworkout. If you find yourself completely exhausted midway through workouts, try eating some carbs a little before hitting the gym.

ABB is not the best stuff in the world, you can find some better brands with a little legwork.
