When doing push-ups and ab crunches, is it better to do many reps at a time or to do multiple sets with a smaller number? I want to increase muscle definition, not lose weight.

>>379510what?
three sets with reps "until fail"for body weight exercises .
>>379584Thank you.
>>379584Why?Doing 100 pull ups, IMO, is the same as benching an easy weight 100 times: no use.Why until fail for bodyweight exercises?
Just make sure you have a proper form, go until you can't anymore and have a regular timing between the sets.
>>380003100 pull ups same as benching easy weight?what alternate universe do you live in?
>>380003What you are saying doesnt even make sense. You find me 1 person that can do 100 body weight (dead hang, no kipping bullshit) pullups.
>>380104If you can do 100 pullups, they're clearly easy for you, and as useless as benching a weight that you can easily do 100 reps with.
>>380109Navy SEALs got stories told about them when they can do 50 dead hang pullups. Nobody is doing 100
>>380120That's nice, but completely beside the point. The *point* is that if you can do it 100 times, whatever it is, you're wasting your time.
>>380124No you're not.Even heard of a thing called conditioning training? Or just endurance training?
>>380125Neither of which are the subject of this thread, are they?
ever hear of a ladder?1-10-1 1 pull up then 2 pull ups then 3 pull ups etc. to 10 then 9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1
>>380126yes you penis, they are
