I started making a bunch of sandwiches at once to save time, since most of the time in making a sandwich is in getting the ingredients ready.
I'd take a whole loaf of bread, some cheapish lunch meat, and a block of cheese, divide the bread up in half, cut 1 slice of cheese per slice of bread, and put all the ingredients on them in sort of an assembly line, put them together and put them back in the bag the bread came in.
Then when I'm ready to eat it, I'll put it in the microwave for 30-45 seconds to melt the cheese, and put whatever condiments (usually mustard or hot sauce, since they're good for your metabolism/digestion).
And I also learned that you can indent bread, crack an egg in there, put it in the microwave for a minute and a half on high, and holy shit the egg is cooked. Careful of the yolk though, it might still leak depending on the strength of your microwave.
Also, bagels.
