The human body devours muscle mass before fat.

By eating one meal a day, you will cause muscle catabolzation. Eating one meal a day will also completely destroy your metabolism. Eating six small meals a day puts your metabolism into overdrive. Weight-training also increases your metabolism.

Muscle mass uses calories at rest, so the last thing you want to do is burn off the muscle you have. You'll end up getting rid of ten pounds of muscle and ten pounds of fat, when you could have lost fifteen pounds of fat and literally no muscle in the same amount of time with proper nutrition.

The least a full grown male should eat in a day is 1800 calories, if not more. The last thing you want to do is burn off all your muscle, then be stuck with a flabby body that resembles a bruised orange.

your body continually wants energy, so continually supplying it throughout the day is better than going on the principle of having a "set amount of calories to consume" per day; thats not to say you shouldn't have a target caloric intake on a strict diet, but its important to keep the calories distributed throughout the day.

Hang on, you're looking for expert advice on health, nutrition and dieting and the first place you think of is 4chan?!
If you don't want to learn real facts, at least go to Wikipedia -- which is where most of the advice here will come from.
P.S. Anon is correct - your idea is dumb as fuck, starting reading books more.

eat more often, eat "less" (although less is relative), and make sure your getting a good balance of carbohydrates, protein and fat (40g carbs/40g protein/20g fat is a nice rule of thumb although there will obviously be deviation from that unless you are really being strict)

Get a basis of nutrition and make a plan for yourself. We cannot tell you how much you should be eating, since we all have different types of metabolism and body types.

http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/brewster27.htm

Read over that and get an idea of what you should be eating. A pound of fat is 3500 calories, so you would want to aim for creating a deficit of 500 calories a day. That will cause a pound of fat loss every five days. The problem is balancing the calorie deficit without allowing the body to starve itself, and use muscle for energy.

You really don't need to micromanage, so just eat six meals a day, each serving size should be the size of your closed fist, drink plenty of water, start a weight training routine to minimize muscle loss, and starting doing cardio.

here's an example of a 1600 meal plan with high protien, low carbs and low fat:

Breakfast: 2 eggs
snack: Tuna salad 1 can of tuna with lettuce + sweetcorn
Lunch: Red meat, no more than 600cal
snack2: peice of fruit or salad
Dinner: 3 celery sticks with peanut butter
snack3: anything low carb and low fat.

This is just an example, you should make your own that suits you but look at the nutritional value of the things you put on and avoid saturated fats and simple carbs (sugary shit).

six meals a day speeds your metabolism up and will help you lose weight. also start some cardio depending on your fitness now running, walking or cycling for 1/2 hour per day.

the bottom line is, don't skip meals to lose weight; it's counter-productive

Bad plan is bad.

You should have at least two macro-nutrients in every meal. Oatmeal should be consumed with the Eggs in the morning, making the first meal the largest.

There is absolutely no point in eating red meat when cutting weight. The type of fat consumed during the day should have Omega Fatty Acids, not saturated fat.

Protein should be consumed with every meal, and the carbs before bed aren't required in the least bit.

that and 1600 calories a day seems unnecessarily low in this case
