Should I work out and do cardio even though my muscles are still sore from Saturday?

Don't exercise your muscles if they;re still sore, they haven't repaired yet and you will slow down your gains

No.

alright thanks for the tip

working out with sore muscles helps reduce the soreness, more blood to the muscle helps. Id continue to workout unless it has a negative impact on your regular routine (if you cant walk :D)

Work out.

If you're going to stop working out every time you get a little sore, don't bother.

Stretch properly before and after.

Obviously don't work out if you literally can't move... but if you're just a bit "achy" get back to the gym.

Learn the difference between sore and in pain. If you are in pain it is your body telling you to slow down. If you are just sore then have at it. A few reps with low weight to warm up before lifting the training weight will help loosen you up and get you past the soreness.

If a muscle group is sore then don't exercise it but other muscle groups are fine, if that means you only exercise it once a fortnight then so be it. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong and limiting their muscle growth.
