/fit/, I'm having some trouble here.
I'm very confused as to when it was when I started to loose weight.

So hear this - 2 and a half years ago, I first got my gym membership. I was 230 lbs. I'm not sure at all what my height was so poop.

After some dieting and exercizing 4-5 days a week for 1 hour to 90 minutes a day, PLUS the 2 miles having to walk each day to get to the gym and back home, the weight (at the time), was around 190-185. It took me about a year to loose that much weight.

So this is the problem, I VAGUELY remember anything from back then but this, and even then, it's a blur. I remember I was... Seemingly skinny/fit back then. I THINK my height was somewhere in the 5'10-5'12 region. I managed to lower my waist from a 42 to a 36. I felt great.

I remember laying on my left side of my bed and seeing that my stomach was retracting.

Now, this is where the real confusion sets in.
About 1-2 months after I reached that goal weight, I started eating whatever I wanted again.

Mind you - I wasn't ALL out but damn, I was binge eating and not exercising as much. So about 2-4 months after all of that crappy eating 'n such, I was up to 210-215lbs. I spent most of that year trying to loose weight again. I was on an off again, on-again diet.

So, now it's year 2008. Jan - Still doing what I said above. Now, it's around... March - I decide to pick up my gym routine. Rather than going whenever I felt like it, I decided to stick to a 5-day a week thing. Now, it's April, I decide to check my weight. 205. Great, lost some weight! Continue to keep up my "going when I feel like it" gym habits.

Now, my parents decide to cancel my gym membership because they feel they're wasting money because I rarely go now - so the last time I checked my weight was around the end of April. I managed to get down to 195.

So now, I have no gym membership - BUT, I do notice I've lost some weight. I now want to stay healthy so I keep a strict diet. School year ends and I decide to get a haircut. (I had long emo-hair. Looked like shit.)

Now, this is the point where confusion hits it's all time highest. I get a haircut, Medium/short cut. Surprisingly it looks good. I got it around the end of June. Just about EVERYONE I know is telling me, from seeing me for the first time with my haircut, that I've lost A LOT of weight.

I find this VERY odd as I recall I barely started dieting.
I continue dieting, now breaking any of my rules, walking about 2-5 miles everyday. Drinking A LOT of water. It's now early August, 2008. I ask my brother if he's going to the gym so I can weigh myself.

We arrive and they reluctantly let me weigh myself.
They had 2 mechanical weighers and an electronic one. I get on the electronic one, it says I'm 165lbs. Me and my brother IMMEDIATELY assume it's malfunctioning. So we try the first mechanical one - It says 163-165. We try the other, It says 162 with my shoes off.

So, I'm standing there, SHOCKED at how much weight I have lost.

It's been about 2-3 weeks since then and, at the time, I was wearing a size 33 - It started sagging - so about a week ago I got a size 32. IT'S NOW SAGGING.

So, now that you've read all of that here's my questions:

It may just be me, but, why do I feel that I was a lot LEANER back when I was 185?

I'm afraid of gaining weight again, /fit/, I try not to go above 1600 calories a day - but I realized that, with my current BMR, it pretty much means for 1 meal, I can eat whatever I want. This is another thing I don't get - Why are meals over 400 calories so bad? Last I remember 400+400+400 = 1200. I'm guessing I'm misunderstanding this but because of this, I never go near meals above 350 calories.

I think I'm also suffering from mal-nutrition.
I said above that I try not to consume over 1500 calories a day but the reality is that I consuming LESS than that everyday. Just estimating my total calorie intake for the past 2 weeks - I've only been consuming about 900-1200 calories per day. Sometimes, even less.
I'm now suffering from constant orthostatic hypotensions.

I never feel weak or like I'm starving, though.
On top of that, the more weight I loose the more the muscles in my arms seem to tone-up.

So can anybody help with what I can eat everyday?
So far I've only been eating 190-230 calorie turkey sandwiches per meal. What am I allowed to eat?

Why do I think that if I eat eggs in the morning I'll start to gain fat?

I know I'm probably confusing anybody who reads this.
It'd be nice to have some help with this.
I'm just so lost in all of it.

Too fucking long, didn't fucking read.

Lurk more, your questions (whatever they were) will be answered in time, because there's 143867 "HALP I'M FAT" / "HALP IM SKINY"" / "HALP IM SKINYFAT" threads every day.

Or you could clue up ever harder and practice the lost art of internet-fu, where you go find the shit you're after, because it's already out there somewhere.

yea i've posted on this twice already in last bit you just need to eat a fucking lot more protein and need to lift weights and jog how big are those turkey sandwiches and you do realize that those turkey sandwiches are probably actually loaded with soy which will promote estrogen an increase in your body.....eating fat is not the enemy carbs are they are what allows the fat to store if you are lifting 3 times a week and jogging twice a week you will be able to eat a fair amount (as long as you don't eat too many carbs)...and still lose weight........i'd suggest 160grams of protein 40 grams of fiber 30-100 grams of carbs and some fish oil tabs

Turkey breast slices, from one of the local deli food markets. Sliced fresh when you order it.

I'm not sure if it's packed in soy, should I ask/be worried if it is?

To answer the question, it's just a regular sandwich.
Lettuce, Tomato, Turkey (1 slice... Not too much at all) Wheat bread. In total, 2 bread slices are around 180 calories.

yea dude its a local deli but its still pre-made turkey right like boar's head or some other such brand they don't roast a whole turkey everyday do they?...if they do that then the turkey is fine really but you should be eating like 8oz of meat per sandwich...Meat is a vegetable....you don't seem to see that eating so little food is sobotaging your metabolism and causing your workouts to burn not fat but muscle....yea you are getting some fat but you are getting as much muscle too....you need to just eat a big slab of turkey and some broccolli you can have some ranch dressing with that if you want because it doesn't really have any carbs you see.....carbs facilitate your bodyfat storage and cause things to absorb more quickly into your bloodstream.......so here is an example day

1.wake up eat a bowl of oatmeal(find something with low sugar/high fiber there is some weight smart stuff that is perfect i'm not sure where you are from) eat some eggs/protein shake as well(fiber+protein see?) you can eat more eggs eat like 7 if you want...hard boil them or something and just eat like only 2 yolks or something(they are very fatty but really you can eat all the yolks if you please because fat is not what makes you fat) also a few caps of fish oil is good too
2. wait four hours
3. eat a protein shake/fiber bar or if today is your workout day then just drink the protein shake(you can have it with milk too if you want/creatine is good as well) then workout and then have ANOTHER protein shake but this time you can have some carbs with it 50 grams but only if it is post work out) wait an hour and then have a good solid meal of protein/fiber
OR
since its not a workout day and you just ate protein shake/fiber bar
wait 4 hours and then eat
4. a good meal 8oz of chicken/beef or protein shake + fiber bar or a bunch of brocolli or a sweet potato something with a good bit of fiber(don't eat white potatoes they suck because their fiber is all in the skin plus they don't taste good without a shitload of sourcream and bacon and crap they just suck avoid white potatoes as much as possible)

Do you understand? I know i'm the king of run on sentences sorry...

oh yea also but if it is prepackaged deli turkey such as boars head/oscar mayer type shit then just don't eat it as your main protein source i mean naturally you can eat a deli style turkey sandwich now and again but its fucking filled with soy and soy = bad for men i think there are some brands that don't have any soy but most do

this is supposed to mean you can eat 7 eggs instead of a protein shake in the morning eggs have a shit-load of vitamins so therefore are very good for you even if you choose to eat a protein shake and oatmeal for breakfest i'd still suggest an egg or two if you have the time...but alas time there never is enough of it...
