hey anon. Former sodafag here--what I drink?
I drink juice (its my guilty pleasure now. Cherry Cider, Apple Cider, fresh OJ, Lemonade, ect) here and there. Maybe a glass or two a day. I drink water mostly, and also have been drinking soymilk, normal milk, and tea.
Tea/coffee is what I tend to like in the morning. I sweeten with splenda, depending on my mood and the tea or coffee, add milk.
One of the biggest things I've noticed since I dropped dropping soda is an appreciation for more diverse flavors. Bitter things, savory things--I can't drink cola anymore because it tastes so sickeningly sweet. If I do drink soda, its a lighter thing, like cream soda, sprite, ect, and that's a rarity.
Water, with ice. Its amazing what it can do--so damn refreshing, so perfect. My advice is drop soda for a while. Odds are, you'll lose your taste for such incredibly sweet things, and you may find yourself saying "fuck yeah, natural sugar fruit juice!" Or even "fuck yeah, water with ice in it!"
