Ok here's the deal. I love my weight and my body, which, being average, is a thickish in the hips and thighs. Not as thick as I actually want, but that's beside the point here. My thighs aren't huge, but my legs aren't particularly long. Like I said, I'm average. Here's the problem. On a nerdy endeavor, I've decided to cosplay. But the character has reaallly long legs. My legs would look longer if I rid myself of the excess fat on my thighs, and firmed/lifted my butt. What are some of the best ways to do this? Diet isn't an issue, I'm a healthy eater.

Exercises like stair stepping, going in an incline on a treadmill, and squats, will lift your butt and tone the muscles in your thighs. Cardio and a better diet will take some of the fat off your legs. Not that you are fat, but, you know.

If I remember my tripfags correctly I've seen your picture. There's no way to just trim your legs or any other area for that matter. Do cardio.

Ok. I'm kinda focusing on cardio since I think my heart is a little flabby anyway. I have like a year or more to do this. I was supposed to start jogging/running anyway.

I just thought I'd add my 2 cents -

With weight, if it's first on, it's last off. Unfortunately, if you're female, the first place fat goes to is the hips/butt. So you might have to lose a lot of weight (meaning get to an "optimum", not go mad anorexic on everyone) to slim down your thighs a lot.
Also, genetics play a large part in your body shape, so you may just be out of luck.

My genetics actually say I stay small until pregnancy, which is why I only weight just over 120, which is average my my standards, but size 0 to jealous fat housewives. I'm not visibly bottom heavy, but yeah, my thighs and butt are nearly the ONLY place on my body with excess fat, which I personally am fond of, but the character doesn't have.
Thanks again, though, I'm thinking lunges, leg lifts, jogging. I hope that sounds reasonable. Afterwards, I'll acually focus on gaining muscle weight. Mmmm thick thighs.
