No hands no Muscle Gain? Anonymous
Hey guys, I lost my hands in a construction accident last summer working on a house. What are some good weight lifting exercises for me given that I don't have hands?
>> Anonymous
Um...good question. Curls if you can somehow balance the weights...

Front squat?

How about those resistance band things?
>> Anonymous
How about aerobics with weights attached? Sorry man, but, unassisted, I can't really think of anything.

I have prosthetic "hands," but they are really geared towards manipulation, and not anything heavy. I want to lift weight like everyone else, not elastic bands.

i'm going to hell

can you do pushups with the fake hands?

PROTIP: You aren't everyone else, you have no hands. Suck it up and use the god damned bands already.

Also, your doctor/physical therapist, talk to them.

I can run fine, and have good cardiovascular fitness. I can grip things but unless the weight is on my wrist, it won't stay in the "hand" if it is more than 4 pounds.

yea yea yea....mess with us. but as the previous post were. weight wrists, legs, vest are great.
I wear 5 on each arm (those 10 pound ones are too bulky and no one has made a heavy one for wrists)
20 on each leg
and an 80 pound vest.
and jog for 2 miles averaging about 20 minutes. so 130 pounds of weight jogging 2 miles in 20 minutes
