Take this for instance, the other day, I was 15st exactly. The next day, I did a lot of weight training and when I checked the scales I was 15st 4lbs. The next day again I was back to 15st.
What you need to do is measure your weight every day at the same time so that you can realise how your body works.
I would suggest getting an excel spreadsheet and inputting your weight every day, with a set of rolling averages. You can find these online. The ones at the Hacker's Diet website are good.
