sup /fit/

need some details to set up a healthy food plan, counting calories, proteins, carbs and everything else.

now for example on my bag of bread it lists nutrition per 100g, but how much do i know what each slice of bread weighs?!

could find out how heavy all the unit bread pieces are together, then divide by the amount of pieces, and figure out if i need to cut them in a specific way to get the amount i would of food in order to not lose or gain any weight... but i would need to do that for everyone type of food

HELP

what about wheat bread tho?

it's the healthy kind, dark bread, with no butter ontop so it's gonna be ok

already gave up all unhealthy stuff 3 weeks ago, but i need to be more precise in order to "bulk" properly

What is your goal, fitness, weight loss or building muscle?

building muscle

so far i know i should take 1.5g-2.5g proteins per kilo i weigh, and that i need 500kcal above my "normalized" kcal intake, but it's counting nutrition and kcal itself that seems to be an issue for me when i don't know how much each unit of "food" itself weighs

op here, bumping

so: is there a general way to find out how heavy your foods are, to relate it with the nutritionlist per 100g on the bag, or do you need to buy a really really accurate scale somewhere?

Either use digital scales to weigh your food or find the 100g and divide it by slices etc..

Digital scales and a calculator are better imo, some people hate calorie counting, i like it. Though i tend to just count in my head continually for no reason, OCD :S
