Hello /fit/.Sorry if I sound newfaggish, this is my first time on your board.pic not really related. I think.I've been trying for about two weeks now to slim down(I'm not fat/chubby or anything, but I've got a gut.) I've been doing ~200 crunches/sit-ups a day, I've started to eat healthier and I don't really eat snack foods anymore, and I try to walk a few miles each day(sometimes I can't fit it in). However, I still have this gut, it doesn't seem to be going away. It just stays there. I don't want to have a six-pack or abs or anything, I just want my stomach to be flat like it was a few years ago.Any suggestions? Am I doing something wrong and I don't realize it?
you should become a jew, they cut your foreskin off and let you drink blood of christian babies.that'll make your gut go away for sho.
Two weeks? It will take a lot longer than that, and run/jog instead of walking.
>>205558Well, I'm not expecting to instantly get rid of my gut, but I was expecting it to shrink a tiny bit.But yes, thank you for informing me, unlike>>205557.For a while I thought I was doing something wrong..
Can't spot reduce. If anything crunches will just make your stomach look even bigger now that you are building muscles there. Eat less and do more cardio.
>>205565Wat. That's pretty gay.Oh well, I'll just start doing cardio, since I already don't eat much, which made me wonder how the hell I got a gut in the first place.
>>205567Yeah, you need a calorie deficit... Burn more than you take in. Gotta lower that fat percentage.
~200 crunches a day = You're doing it wrong. go up until you feel a tightness in your abs. now SQUEEZE your abs for a second or two, then SLOWLY (keyword: slowly) go back down until you're almost flat again. Repeat. You should be feeling the burn before you hit 20. If you're doing multiple sets until you hit 200, calm the fuck down. you're doing more harm than good to your body.
>>205567Because you have more fat than muscle on your body and males put on weight in their midsections first.
check the energy burnt by each crunch it takes maybe 500 - 10000 just for one chocolate bar. eat less calories + exercise is the only way
