Ok /fit/, I have a problem. My girlfriend (in b4 no girlfriend) and I have been jogging together every morning the last few months. Unfortunately, she hasn't been able to keep up lately. After about 3 miles she is too tired to keep running and has to walk. I've tried running on my own and I was able to do 6 miles before I needed to walk. I feel she's holding me back as she doesn't want me to run off without her. Have any of you experienced this? What's a nice way to tell her to go workout at the gym so I can run on my own?

why don't you run laps around that loop back to your haouse. this way your girlfriend can stop then and be at home and you can keep going around again by yourself

just walk with her you asshole, bring her home then run however much extra you want

It's funny cause it's true.

Dump her. She is a fatty and will only hold you back. Trade up for hotter gf, that is, if you can talk to womynz without freezing.

Damn 6 miles without walking? Your gf can run 3 miles without walking? Shit. I'm in great muscular shape, but I can barely run a mile without having to stop

DO NOT WORK OUT WITH YOUR GIRLFRIEND.

Seriously, it is the dumbest fucking idea.

Generally men and women have entirely different fitness goals.

well always depends on your pace too

i (not op) can do 6.2 miles in a little less than 50 minutes without resorting to walking

a real man would carry her on his back and sprint the last 3 miles

This is a good suggestion actually. You don't have to run with her on your back, but tell her if she needs a break you'll have to carry her. Your reduced pace will be made up for all the extra weight.

This is awesome workout. You might consider changing your route a little to have the least public visibility. Even just squats with another person's weight, it's a good workout. If you can carry, go for it!
