Not sure of this goes here but...
School started last month and for the first time in my life I've had difficulty sitting down and reading from a textbook.
I can spend all hours of the day reading from a computer or a xerox copy of something but I can't get past a few pages of shiny textbooks. The glare is just too distracting.
This is fucking me up big time. I aced all of my sciences last year but I'm fucking them up this year, dropped one a month ago and one a week ago. I've only realized this now, that reading from a textbook is unbearable.
I wear contacts and have for a few years. They stabilize my vision; before I used contacts I had to change my prescription every year but now I've been in the same range at one point with better vision than before. My eyesight is about -5.25 nearsighted at both eyes. I have this problem in any lighting situation, fluorescent, incandescent, reflected, daylight, etc.
Are there any glasses I can use to help with this problem. I know that they design some to work with computer screens but I have no idea if they'll work with this sort of glare problem.
