Why the fuck do protein bars always have so much saturated fat in them?

I need a high protein low saturated fat bar or snack of some sort since I want to eat often, but my job won't allow constant breaks for food. A protein bar is perfect since I can keep it in my pocket and eat when I need it.

Too many faggots are looking for low carb bars but they fucking forget about fat. I couldn't care less about how much mono and polyunsaturated fat is in these(since I've never seen anything too high), but the saturated fat is unforgivable.

Any recommendations?

Nuts, no really.

Can't you learn how to make them yourself? If you could, you could wtfbake a shitload of protein bars to your dietary standards.

be a man. eat meat.

i also herd that lean meat is better for you than bullshit that consists mainly of old chinese newspapers and some shitty low-quality protein.

Get yourself some nuts (unsalted) Cashews, Walnuts whatever takes your fancy (buy them in reasonable bulk). Bag em up with some dried fruit (raisins, pineapple, sultanas) for a little energy boost and some sweetness and enjoy. Filling, full of protein and unsaturated fats.

If I eat the required amount of nuts to meet my protein and caloric needs it would amount to even more saturated fat than a lot of protein bars...

Go ahead and call me a dumbass, whats the difference between saturated and unsaturated?

What's a lot of saturated fat?

I eat:

Pure Protein Peanut Butter Marshmallow Eclipe: 4g Sat Fat

Cliff Peanut Butter Builder Bar: 5g Sat Fat

Big 100 Carmel Graham Some shit or something else: Don't remember, probably like 8g-10g (they're twice the size of most bars, if not more)

>Saturated fats are not essential to your health. They come from animals and are found in meat, eggs and cheese. They are harder to digest and full of cholesterol.

>Unsaturated fats are liquid at room temperature and have been divided into two groups. Monounsaturated fats such as olive oil, and polyunsaturated fats such as sunflower oil.

>Polyunsaturated fats are split into Omega 3 fatty acids and Omega 6 fatty acids. Monounsaturated fat (Omega 9) although not essential, is not harmful in moderation - a good quality (extra virgin first cold pressed) olive oil is a healthier alternative to the usual vegetable oil.

eating saturated fats leads to heart disease and tons of bad shit. absolutely nothing good comes from it.

unsaturated fats are actually good for you as long as you don't consume a ridiculously large amount.

Actually a small amount of saturated fat is beneficial as the cholesterol has various uses, particularly in males, but its not difficult to get all you need and more these days at all, so people tend to avoid it where they can.
