Steroids Anonymous
Okay, folks, let's talk about steroids.
All I ever hear is "don't," but I haven't heard anything about milk use of steroids.
I'm primarily interested in knowing if the negative side effects typically associated with steroid use are actually from steroid *abuse*, because I think I'd be perfectly willing to just use once or twice just to get things rolling, in very mild amounts, and very infrequently.

So - anyone have special knowledge and/or experience with the subject?

Like I said, I'm only on steroids (d-bol) for 3 weeks for every other day, so about 11 times. I've been doing it for 4 years now like this, and I don't really feel any different, at least negatively. What I do notice is that I'm more aggressive, but not in a roidrage kind of way, and that I have loads more energy to crank out more weights and reps.

All the shit that you've been hearing is about steroid ABUSE. Major difference of steroid USE. Of course it's going to have some effect on you, but it's not what you hear. There was an article about steroids that I read a while back that explained steroid USE. It's all opinionated, but this guy had some knowledge. Supposedly that roid rage is bullshit, only a few amount of people suffer from any kind of psychological effect. If you're into football and other contact sports, it's likely that you'll be more aggressive than of someone just taking it for gains. Obviously there is a hell of a lot of work to put in when taking steroids. No parties, flawless diet, absolutely NO drugs ( not even tylenol),must report to the gym everyday, and a minimum of eight hours of sleep each day. Just do your own research. Don't believe all the things these fuck heads in the media say.

Former juicer here- I can tell you that there are usually few sides, depending on which you actually take. If you're taking Anavar or Winstrol, sides are so mild very very few people will even notice.

The really androgenic ones you should just stay away from unless you actually aspire to get a pro card- they are dangerous if you don't REALLY know what the fuck you are doing, and even then most people get bad sides.

Probably the most immediate negative you will notice is that, depending on your source, what you want might be really fucking expensive. Also hope you aren't afraid of needles. Otherwise, go for it and just keep an eye on potential sides, don't take retarded huge doses, have PCT lined up, and you'll be fine. Good luck.

I'm turning 20 in less than a week, and I don't know shit about any of that.
My interest in steroids was mainly because I'm a lazy bastard, which is definitely one of my negative quirks, but I just don't feel I have the time to devote to bodybuilding as opposed to just looking good with minimal effort.

If steroid use really requires serious monitoring of diet, exercise anyway, and post cyclic therapy (whatever the fuck that means), I may as well just learn about doing this shit the natural way.

The vast majority of people using them don't need them. The mistake everyone makes is jumping on the chem bandwagon when they've been training for one or two years tops. The problem is you're slowly wrecking yourself for gains that won't stick around when you get off your cycle. The bottom line is that they can augment your physique but they won't make it all by themselves.

So yeah; don't. UNLESS you're actively competing in body building or a strength sport. There you really don't have a choice, your competition is all on drugs too.

basically put, if you lift weights for a year and then jump on the roids, you'll never get anywhere. roids do not replace effective training, and if you don't know how to train effectively or diet properly you're pretty much wasting your time. to get to the same position as someone who knows how to train and yet is also on roids (which you never will) you will have to use the sort of dosages that become very, very unhealthy. this is particuly true if you're involved in an actual performance orientated sport. but whatever, be a guido and get the same results that a drug-free person who knows what they are doing can get, all for more money and a bunch of health damage.
