Hey /fit/, help a /fit/fag out. What are the benefits of the two type of dumbell flies I've posted below in my awesome and kickass wacom sketch. What changes can I expect to see to my chest if I do one or the other. I do both but I'm a little vague on why I should be using them specifically.

not an expert, but i think A puts the focus on the chest while B includes arms/shoulders/etc a little more

new /fit/fag here also.

It seems to be that doing A increases the amount of muscles in the middle of your chest, like this is the way to go to get a cleavage or bulk up there.

B does the chest muscles closer to your armpits and around your nipple area.

A: stretches the pecs and ribcage to expand your chest
B: builds general muscle mass

It's good to have both in your plan.

Thanks anon. You're all a bunch of fags but I love you all.

In addition to>>106901A builds pectoralis major (the "center" of your chest, just to the left and right of your sternum) and B builds your pec minor, the line of muscle that attaches to your humerous (when you flex you can grab it). I may have mixed up the nomenclature there, but I know the muscle LOCATIONS are correct.

Also, B activates a fucking laundry list of muscles in addition to its focus on the pecs, while A just does the pecs, pretty much. I'd recommend doing B with your arms closer to your side, though, since that activates your lats. And activating your lats is the bomb.

I'm confused as to what exactly the OP's pic is illustrating. The top is my idea of a dumbbell fly but the bottom looks more like a press to me. Could someone provide a detailed explanation or a vid?

A=shoulder fly with dumbbells
B=dumbbell press

A trains your tits, B trains your Biceps.
