Sup /fit/, over the last two months I've adopted a diet, and started exercise and have managed to gone from a 210 to a 183. After a few weeks of cardio, squats, and situps I'm feeling great.

Problem is, I wanna bulk up my upper body, but I'm terrified of stretch marks. I cannot do pushups, shadowboxing(whatever you call it), or lift weights because I fear these unslightly scars.

Is there anything I can do to avoid them /fit/? Or should I just plow on and add upper body workouts to bulk up a bit?

use cocoa butter, drink a TON of water, and try not to gain too quickly. since you've lost a bit of weight, you might have a little extra skin (even if it's not noticeable) and your muscles will grow into that before you start getting stretch marks. you should be fine, just don't try to get XBOX HUEG or anything.

Any recommendations on how I should start off? My arms are incredibly puny (especially compared to the rest of my body) I'm planning on starting off with simple sets of pushups, and gradually working my way towards other stuff.
