Why do a lot of fat people claim they eat as much as skinny people?

Is it a blatant lie, do they have skinny high-metabolism junkfood eating ectomorph friends, or do they really eat just as much as a normal, skinny person does?

my best friend is TINY (4' 11" and about 95 lbs) and her sister is about 5' 2" and like at least 300 lbs. She tells me that her and her sister eat the same food. I sometimes wonder if her sister is sneaking food or if she really is that genetically unfortunate.

it's a combination of denial and unconscious behaviour.

its some ratio of lack of activity, poor quality food, high quantities of food, and genetics.

I think it's because they look at other people eating out of context. I've been able to out eat fat friends during a meal and because of this they think I eat more than them, despite the fact that they don't know what else I've eaten that day.

For some people, it may be the truth. The only thing is that they prolly eat their whole day's worth of skinny people's diet in one frickin meal..... at 10 fuckin PM! I, for one, know far too many people that eat too late at night and also have the habit of playing "catchup" with their meals. These are two major pitfalls that contribute to the problem that is Fat America, unfortunately.

And it's like>>240714said, basically. No exercise. Fat & carbs are not bad for ya, believe it or not. Both fat & carbs end up being energy for your body. The only time they work against you is when you put the energy in the tank and you don't use it. Do some friggin exercises.
