I'm a bit stuck, /fit/.

Since I have GERD, I'm stuck taking Prilosec OTC which kills my appetite which makes me super picky with food for some odd reason. If it matters, I'm currently 5'3 and 109lbs.

My college's cafeteria serves a ton of "heavy" foods (i.e. entrees like stuffed peppers, vegetable lasagna, pineapple ham) all make me sick thinking about them.. the "biggest" thing I've eaten there is pasta with spinach.

I can't skip eating or else my blood pressure will make me dizzy as shit and I can't eat something that's xbox huge. Can /fit/ suggest something "small" yet healthy to eat during lunch?

P.S. Other vendors include hotdogs, hamburgers, and other greasy gross shit.

I have the same problem. If you eat a very low carb diet you'll find a LOT of your problems go away. Also avoid the fried greasy foods.

Best advice: make your own lunch and brown bag it. It's a pain but then you can control what goes into your food.

Greasy foods make me sick to begin with, so if it has fried in it I run away. Thank you for the advice.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gastroesophageal_reflux_disease AKA a ton of foods make me puke because stomach acid goes into my esophagus or something

Acid reflux, faulty valve in the stomach; washes up your esophagus randomly or when you eat the wrong stuff and provoke it.

Nothing says Fun! like acidy puke coming up your throat into the back of your mouth.

The best thing for GERD is to stop drinking soda altogether if you haven't already. Even diet shit. The carbonation and phosphoric acid aren't too good for you.

Broccoli is good, green beans are good for you. I've never had problems downing them. Bring your own food definitely. I found that when I eat broccoli, chicken and a bit of rice I have no problem with a burning sensation at all once I start productively burping. Drink lots more water to help dilute the hc acid and try to eat the same times each day.

Stopped drinking soda a few months ago :) It also causes my skin to break out

Gah, broccoli is really gross though. Thank you for the advice though. I drink about 2-3 bottles of water a day.. is that enough? (I like the taste which is odd..)

Nothing odd about liking the taste of water. I don't know how big your bottles are.

At meal time drink a sip or two of water after each mouthful if you don't already, that usually helps me if I'm eating something I probably shouldn't.

im pretty sure all the foods you listed in your original post are all acidic as well as heavy. i recommendation is to eat more fruits and drink water.
