Hey /fit/
How can i get rid of stretch marks?
>> Anonymous
You can't.
>> Anonymous
stretch marks do not go away, theyre much like scars, but if you reduce whatever caused them IE fat or breast growth, then they're appearance can be greatly reduced

I've had them since i started working out. I was 220, now im 180 and i still have them. I really hate them, even when they are really light, they are still visible.
>> Anonymous
You can reduce them by using Vitamin E and Vitamin A cream, also using surgery.

This. I've also heard cocoa butter with a rough sponge/washcloth of some sort will help.

No, you're full of shit.

Look people, if cocoa butter and other lotions got rid of stretch marks, everyone would know about it. They'd tell you about it in school. But they don't work, and stupid people (usually dumb bitches who read too much seventeen) keep perpetuating the myth.

You can't get rid of stretchmarks, period. Sometimes they will fade to the point of almost being invisible, but the texture of your skin will be changed, and in certain lights they'll still be visible.

Big fucking deal, bodies go through changes.

At least they fade, take your scars like a man.
>> Anonymous
yup, they disappear with time
>> Anonymous
Just claim you got them wrestling with lions or something.
>> Anonymous
Stretch marks are caused due to hormones. Only time will cause them to fade and eventually disappear.

Wise.

Yeah, good try but, no, they're not.

I went into this vitamin store place. Have you heard of that brand, NOW? Well, I was looking around, and saw their double strength vitamin e thing. It was $10, but what the hell. So, I used the dropper it has and got two drops and rubbed it on some scars, including this damn scar I got two months ago from this shitty black acne, and the scar faded so much. It's pretty much skin color now.

tl;dr go to one of those vitamin/herbal stores and ask for some vitamin e oil, the strongest shit they have.

can we get a second opinion on this?

vitamin e oil is pushed as an effective product for minimalising non-serious scarring, here in aus at least
>> Anonymous
anon is correct, vitamin e is great for scars.
