So I've gained a lot of weight I jumped from 138 to 182 pounds over a 2 year progress. My problem area is my stomach, it's fucking huge. In b4 JELLY ROLLS JELLY ROLLS NOBODY LOVES YOU etc. When I was active I did a lot of cross country, I mean I was NEVER skinny but now I'm just unbearable. Goddamn it, safest thing is to get into a gym and detox for a couple of months amirite?

I'm a runner but I've realized that RUNNING doesn't really melt off the pounds. I just assumed that cardio would help me burn fat but it doesn't really do much.

Should I do more swimming than running?

I usually did the cross country tracks into the woods, basically it was just 3.1 miles. I did that 4 days a week for 2 months, lost SOME weight. I was pretty fucking pissed off.

The thing that bothers me the most is that people are still romantically interested in me. When I find myself so DIGUSTING I don't know why I'm still attractive to them. I know it's a self esteem issue but I just feel terrible on dates. I can't really be with somebody else if I can't even find enough " love " for myself.

That's silly. there is 7 days in the week. spread it out on each day.
Losing weight is about getting daily goals and sticking to them. Not "power workout days".

Whereas with muscle building, you need to work out and have days off where you let muscles rest.

Soo, keep the running each day, and with the muscle workouts. Push your self with them some days then others dont do as many.

Keep doing them though, muscles use calories to build up. Soo you are going to burn more fat during your daily work out.

But keep it daily.

Think of it as a cap on how much weight you can lose in one day. Try to reach this cap each day, but don't go over.

The thing with me is that I'll be traveling a lot this summer, mostly work related. I'm sure I'll be able to work in some form of exercise since the hotels I'll be staying at are very nice. If I'm just starting would it help my body to start off slow because I'm pretty sure I can't run 45 mins straight. Best I could do is run 25-30 mins straight.
