/fit/ I know you're supposed to drown yourself with water or whatever, but I never really feel the need to drink more than max 1.5 liters a day, assuming I'm not exercising or it's not 90 degrees out. Is that "drink loads of water" stuff true, or just a protip that's been blown out of proportion?

Also, when I do try and drink 3 liters a day or more I get loose stool. Is that normal?

the amount of water you need to drink is affected by your size, so if you're short or small then you probably won't need as much as you might see people saying. it also depends on your diet

6', 190 lbs.

I don't eat too much though, only twice a day, and not very large meals. Most of my calories come from chocolate. :o

It's a myth that you MUST drink 2 or more liters water per day.
Your food contains water too.
Just drink like you feel.

Since more is better I recommend at least 12 meals of 30 lbs of chocolate per meal.

There's several places where it's important:
1. You're really sweating a lot and are at risk of becoming dehydrated.
2. You're on a high protien diet.

In both cases you have an elevated need for water intake. Particularly in the later case a good supply of H20 makes things easier on the kidneys.

3 liters in a day is easy anyway.

I recommend you drink 3 liters of arsenic.
