So during summer my nose will run while I exercise, regardless of what I'm doing or where I am. I'm 100% sure it's not allergy related because about 30 minutes after I'm finished or too annoyed to continue, my nose clears up and dries. There's also never any sneezing.I was wondering if anyone else has this problem, and what steps they take to prevent/deter it?I googled it and apparently it's called vasomotor rhinitis, and can be alleviated by a drug called Atrovent or ipratropium bromide. I've also heard anti-histamines and Robitussen work, to some degree. But I've never tried either. I'd like to prevent a trip to the doctor for a stupid situational runny nose, so gimme your solutions, kthx.

no clue, sorry... saline nose spray may help though

When you run, your working up your lungs and all the flem is comming out from all the huff and puff and ending up in your nose. I would suggest you sniff hard and then spit out the spit that comes in the back of your throat. Or spit more when your running.
Is it clear and thin? It's moisture buildup in your nasal cavity. You are probably breathing out through your nose more, right? Breathe out through your mouth and in through your nose instead.
I have the exact same problem, it usually clears up a half an hour into running tho. When running long distances (2hours+)even when drinking along the way it doesn't seem to come back. How far/long do you tend to run?
