Hey /fit/ some basic questions really quick about HIIT.

I've been doing p90x for the past few months after body building and riding my bike 6 miles a day for the past 2 years and have lost 40ibs (hit and miss mistakes I did gain a lot of muscle but whatever)

Anyway I've plateu'd or at least am not losing as much weight as I'd hoped so along with p90x I wanted to start doing HIIT.

I tried reading up on it on wiki and what it seemed like was you jog at a moderate pace then sprint as hard as you can and do that 6 times for 1minute jog - 30second sprint periods in a row.

But from what I've been reading on /fit/ it sounds different as if I jog for a minute sprint for 30 seconds then cool down a minute and walk I just want to make perfectly sure so I can start this training on monday.

Don't listen to HIIT's version, listen to the wiki program. Your never suppose to cool down the jog = cool down. Here read this workout guide too

As for HIIT

It's not my diet trust me, I have 3 egg whites with grapes or celery in the morning
Lunch = turkey and cheese on rye bread with carrots

dinner = salad with italian or ranch dressing

I have thyroid issues :*( really fucking blows
