Hello /fit/,
I have a question concerning types of exercises that I would be able to do without causing too much discomfort or pain. I was born with Developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH), aka "frog-hips" and as such this condition hinders me from partaking in certain activities. Running hurts, jogging is ok, but I can only go for about 1 mile or my hips begin hurting and I start limping slightly. Are there any cardio exercises you'd recommend for someone with my condition?

tl;dr-I have fucked up hips; what type of cardio can I do that won't cause too much discomfort/pain?

Try recumbent biking or jump rope? The former should work fine, it's virtually no joint stress.

OP here, thank you kindly, Anon! I had never heard of "recumbent biking," before. It certainly seems like a great way to do some cardio.

how about not cardio? Strength training with weights is awesome, man.

if that doesn't fly, a good chiropractor loosen tight muscles, it's all connected as shown in your diagram. you can have pain in one area that's released somewhere else in the body Anon.
