Go cold turkey on yourself. Get a fucking alarm clock. If you want to sleep earlier, wake up earlier. It's pretty simple. You have to be motivated though. You can press the snooze button. Go to sleep at 3 AM, wake up at 8. Do not take a nap. You'll be able to go to sleep by 10 or 11. But don't wake up at 8...Try to only get 9 hours of sleep at the most, or else you will be up all night again.

Also, when you are falling asleep, turn off your computer, turn off your lights close your eyes, and fall asleep. It's not too hard. Google some ways to meditate. Example: With your eyes closed, say IN when you breath in, and OUT when you breath out. Say it every time. Take in the sounds around you. Soon you will stop saying in, out, and you will fall asleep.

Make sure whatever roommates you have are not within earshot of you whispering "in.. out.." while in bed. Especially if they know about your fleshlight.

Don't complain. At least your schedule is constant. I go to sleep an hour later every night and wake up an hour later than I did the day before. It won't stop. It's like a clock constantly revolving. :\

Me too - it's genetic; there's a name for it that I can't remember. Try and creatively Google it.

really? tell me more

I've been trying to read up on what I have forever and haven't got perfect answers.

I think I might have non-24 hour sleep wake syndrome, but it says that mostly blind people only get that, and I've never heard anything about it being genetic.

I'd really like to know more please.

You got 2 options.

Take sleep meds or take nighttime NyQuil (Not every night obviously)

no. the only one to worry about is phenibut because it causes dependence and withdrawal. If you only take it 3 days on, 3 off then you will be perfectly fine. Melatonin is the hormone secreted in your brain that signals a shift in brain waves towards a sleep pattern. Lots of studies done of supplimenting melatonin have revealed no side effects. 5htp and l-theanine are both naturally occuring amino acids linked to calmness, stress reduction, and relaxation. Perfectly safe and fairly inexpensive if you know where to shop online
