Should I focus on gaining weight or losing weight?

When you say "lose weight", do you mean fat weight? When you say "gain", do you mean muscle weight?

Because personally, I think losing fat will increase your sex appeal more than plain ol' bulking up. Then again, I've got a thing for lean guys.

People say bulk and cut, but I've bulked just fine so far without gaining a shit ton of weight. You have a normal body fat percentage, just focus on good form and stick with the core excercises, squat, bench, pull ups

You can do both at the same time.

Read about workout routines that do both. Focus on supersets, switch it up. Dont allow your muscles to attain muscle memory and you will grow and at the same time bern phat.

That's what happened for the last year or so. I weighted exactly the same while I changed my shape. But I've hit a plateau lately, so I'm seeing if I should focus on one and not the other.
