Ok, I'm pretty tall, and all through my life I've had postural hypotension. Sometimes, when I stand up, I get dizzy, vision fades like static on old tvs and, very occasionally, it gets so bad I go unconscious and fall over.

Fun.

I went to see a doctor once, who took by BP sitting, then standing, and noted a difference, but the sum total of his advice was "be careful when you stand up". Asshole.

I've been doing stronglifts/starting strength for a few weeks now, and I notice I get it really bad about midway through the workout.

Any suggestions in how to make it go away?

i used to get that a lot, haven't had it for a while now that i think about it

Smoke weed and you'll get used to the headrushes, trust me.
I can be laying down, get up, get a huge headrush, while being able to continue whatever I'm doing, even though I can't see for a second.
