hey, /fit/ Over the last year or so, my body weight has raised quite alot(20kgs). I now weigh 105kg and I am 6'2" (Male)

As a result, I have developed stretch marks on the sides of my tummy and on my forearms.

I am starting a strict diet/exercise regime now and I was wondering what my fate will be in regards to the stretch marks.
Thanks, /fit/

Former fatfag here.

I had stretchmarks at 310lb and now I'm down to 175.

They're still here. They don't look that bad with my abs though.

TL;DR Don't worry about them.

OP here, they should fade eventually though right? I'm only 16.

I was 16 when I started my weightloss, now I'm 18 and they're faded but they actually stick out a little bit because it's basically loose skin.

I'm down to my target weight. I asked about stretch marks and the feedback I got is that we're young, so our skin has a chance to bounce back yet.

There's nothing you can do other than wait and continue to do cardio.

Honestly though, I don't mind them at all. I'm more concerned about health than looks at this point.
