/fit/ Ever since you started working out, what has changed about you? I'm not talking about just your body. I'm talking about mental stuff, did you feel more "motivated" to do things in general, did you lose the laziness? Shit like that. What has changed mentally?

Or are you the same person. Just fitter.

Well, for one thing, i try to squat as often as i can on chairs. Because it's a biomechanical better position than sitting down and it stretches me a bit.

oh yeah and more confident, ambitious, endorphins, etc..

- Bodywise, look a lot better.

- I used to hate salad, especially lettuce and spinach. Now I have a salad daily with extras of both. They're so delicious.

- More energetic, ambitious, more endurance, and less lazy. I can't believe I used to spend nights playing WoW like a fucking loser.

I used to literally do nothing but watch TV and play video games, and had almost-failing grades. In highschool I started working out. I ended up getting into a good university, now play vidja for about 1 hr/day average, and haven't watched TV at all in about 2 years; I don't even own a TV.

I still don't consider myself intelligent or particularly skilled, but I'm far beyond what I was. It was working out that started getting me motivated to try at things.

what the guy above me said, haven't touched a vidja game in quite awhile and when I do i only spend a few minutes on it

I feel I've changed things forever since every cheat I have I usually feel sick to my stomach and think its digusting as fuck during and after, other than mah hot wangs

I also feel somewhat better in quality of life(have chronic pain) wise, but it's strange, I only feel quite abit better on days when I lift and days when I cardio, and rest days I usually feel like shit but maybe it's because my mussles are sore as fuck

Sometimes I just like to scream "SQUAAATZ!!!" randomly in public, quite a bit actually. I also have a habbit of squatting pretty much everything in my sight.

mentally? more motivation, even more willingness to walk instead of using a car (although i liked walking even when i wasen't too fit)

one bad thing i guess, is that i've become rather biased towards fat people, the fatter they are, the more disgusted i am (these feelings are only based on first impressions, once i talk to the person i no longer care that they're fat)

I'm definitely more motivated since I started 6 years ago,
I get shit done, on time and regularly.

I'm a completely different person than I was, and I'll never willingly go back to how I was.

I'm better in every way than I used to be.

I only wish more people would improve themselves:

1)Mentally
2)Physically
3)Financially

also OP ... good thread !

When I was a lard ass If I set a goal It took me forever to start to do what I do. I contemplated exercise for about a year lol.

Now I If I want something I do that shit right away. Just this year I learned how to ride motorcycles, learned russian, and started up a small money making scheme.

Also, confidence with chicks.

I'm the same old person, and I'm rarely depressed like before, and I sleep better.
