hey anons of /fit/

3 weeks ago I cut out all the shit I used to eat, and started eating healthy, and less off it. I started doing weights 2 weeks ago. I weighed 130 kilos

Flash forward to today. I jumped on the scales to weigh myself (I weigh myself twice. Once on Friday night to see how the week was, and once on Monday to see how my weekend was). I am down to 125 kilos. I've dropped 5 kilos in 3 weeks.

I just want to say thanks to all the anons of /fit/ for helping me work out what I needed to do, and for making me feel horrible enough that I needed to lose weight.

I've hit my first goal (to lose 5 kilos) but I'm not over yet. I have another 25kgs to go before I will be happy, but will I stop there? I'm not sure I will.

So thank you anon. From a fatty who is becoming thin.

I've done my lifting for the day. (I came here and posted after I had done it)

Just keep in mind that your body fat content is more important than your overall weight. Muscle weighs more than fat. I used to be clinically obese and weighed about 113 kilos, then I started weight training and cardio consistently about 2 years ago, now my body fat percentage is down to 10%, but I weigh exactly 136 because of the muscle I gained while lifting.

Yeah, I was worried about it, but I'm overweight, and all I seem to be losing is fat at the moment, as clothes are fitting better and the like. When I feel like I am down to a better level weight wise, then I'll find out what my body fat is, and go from there.

At the moment I'm trying to be able to run and play soccer again

Awesome. Oh, you don't actually have to get a body fat percentage test, just do the old pinch the love handles and see how they shrink as time goes on. Keep up the good work!
