alrighty /fit/ so I recently bought P90X and did the first workout (chest and back), it was hard as hell (they were doing 30 pushups and 25 pull-ups when I could only do about 15 pushups and 5 pull-ups). Now after the workout, I felt a little wobbly at the arms, but today when I woke up, I could barley move my arms. Why is that? I never worked out in high school, so I don't know when soreness is supposed to come. Is it after the workout or like a day or so after the workout?

also, the soreness I feel is not anywhere near my chest. When I did lift weights (like in Middle School) all of the chest exercises that we did never really helped my chest, nor has pushups or anything. The chest really never seems to be effected by any workouts (and this is where a lot of my body fat is, man boobs)

thats because you have low neurological recruiting in your chest muscles. you need to use heavier weights.

OP here: another question:

I just got done with Ab ripper X, but my thighs and legs hurt and my abs didn't actually get a good workout. I literally feel like it did nothing to my abdomen. Why is that?

use bands to substitute for pull ups if your that sore then in about a month go back to the pull up bar
