I hate myself, /fit/.

I have had manboobs since grade fucking eight, and now I'm 19.

They have RUINED my social life, and I can't even go for a swim without being made fun of. They stick out almost 3 and a half inches from my chest.

I have gone to doctors, and they all say it's not just fat, it's Gynecomastia. No doctor is willing to let me get surgery to remove these monstrosities, and I just don't know what to do. I have gone lost weight before (30 pounds) and they haven't changed in size AT ALL. If anything, they just get more and more pronounced.

What the fuck can I do?

Lose more weight and start doing chest presses. That's how I did it, anyways.

Will a fuckton of push ups work?

I think man boobs are hot. It's very circumstantial, though. Most of the time they're just bleh.

Why won't they let you remove it? That's the only way to get rid of the glands, losing fat won't do much for gyne.

.... gynecomastia aren't muscly pectorals, they're literally women's tits.

yeah. I'm guessing they were GPs, and not plastic surgeons. They should have referred you to a plastic surgeon if you asked.

Might cost you a couple grand if you don't have insurance though.... also make sure you find a doc who removes the gland, not just the fat (lipo).

OP here, I fucking hate my doctor for it.

I get mixed replies about what will help, but the general consensus is that surgery is the only way.

I swear, being like this has ruined high school for me.

is it just an insurance issue? Because the previous poster is right; there are tons of cosmetic surgeons who will do it

Nope. All those years, we had insurance that would cover it, but none of the five doctors I went to would refer me to a plastic surgeon.

Oh my, no.

Even though it's gynecomastia, is there ANY way to get rid of it without surgery? I feel that the surgery would also be embarrassing at places like school and work (you have to wear what is essentially a sports bra for about 2 months after)

ever seen women bodybuilders? ... notice how they're almost flat chested? ... go do some chest exercises and pack some muscle on them

Sorry op, you lost the genetic lottery. Live with it.

I've got a similar thing to OP, except its only the nipples. They're all puffy. They look normal when I'm cold or when I rub them though.

So rub your nipples more. With ice, preferably (you said they look normal when cold).

Moobs for the rest of your life, or two months of wearing a bra underneath your shirt?

lol no

Get a bench, two dumbbells and start chest pressing every second day.
Do 5x5 and increase weight as you can.
Get a proper diet.

google.

I also had Gynecomastia and I was on the swim team... pretty embarassing. Luckily my insurance covered it and I had them removed when I was in 8th grade. You just need to talk to a real plastic surgeon, not your GP or family doctor. Only annoying part was I had to get pics of them taken for the insurance... so creepy.

Srsly guys, do CHEZT SQUATZ really work? I've got some manboobs too and all the hard work I put into crushing them with CHEZT SQUATZ and the like only made them bigger D:

look into letrozole + nolvadex.

working out will not get rid of breast tissue, you need surgery.
