In high school gr 12 within 6 months i lost a lot of weight maybe 40 pounds muscle and fat i didn't keep track of my weight then.Since then i've been eating more to gain weight but all i've seemed to gain is love handles i want to put on some healthy body fat.Is this due to my sugar intake which is fairly high due to my love of coca cola or something else.I've read that low testosterone can lead to fat gaining around the hips and dramatic weight loss can lead to low testosterone.Or do the love handles count as healthy body fat?

Have you been exercising regularly? If not, eating to gain weight is pretty much only going to cause you to gain fat.
