So, I have been considering getting into HIIT. However, I am completely new to any exercise regiment. I've tried doing some in the past and I didn't get past like 2 days. HIIT seems fast and VERY effective. I am not 100% sure on where to start however.

I was looking at a chart that says 3 days a week, do 4 minutes of it at 30 second intervals of jogging and sprinting. Step it up every 3rd exercise adding another 60 seconds.

I don't know if I'm ready for that kind of routine. How good shape should I be in before I start some HIIT routine like that? Anyone here tried it before? It seems to be working for "progress" aka>>270769, just hoping it could work for me.
