After you do a lot of reps you lose stamina and get the temporary fatigue.
You lift weights to tear microfibers in your muscles, not to make them tired. if you do high reps you will not tear microfibers, you will just get your muscles tired. tired muscles dont get stronger.
the main idea is that you CANT do any more than 10 reps. if you can you gotta up the weight. in fact, if you can even finish your third set without help, you gotta crank it up.
