Hey, /fit/. How do I start not sucking at tabata intervals? I'm a weak sprinter and after doing intervals I feel like they take less out of me than a 2-mile run at 12:30, but I'm just not able to sprint any harder. The 2-mile runs every other day also aren't helping me get rid of mah belly, which is what I'm trying to do. Any tips?
1) stop eating junk2) run 2 miles everyday3) hit the gym
>>477690Thanks. Doing the gym thing already, but by "junk" do you mean fast food, or just eating out in general? I don't usually hit burger joints, but I don't exactly count calories, either.
>>477694i dunno /bro/. Depends on what kind of food you eat when your out. If you're not counting calories, then doing so would definitely help...as well as give you a wake up call.make sure you are eating enough though, wouldn't want your body to go into starvation mode.
>>477701Got it. Thanks. I guess I'll try cooking or something. Too bad I suck at it.
>>477703Cooking is simple. Here; I'll teach you.Get frying pan.Go to store.Get chicken, it's cheap.Get No-fat lo-cal Italian dressingPut chicken in panWhen chicken looks not pink, pour on Italian dressing.Careful because the bubbles burn.Cut open to see insides; make sure they're not pink.Turn off stove and eat said delicious chicken.
>>477705When I do it said chicken's not delicious :( . I'll suck it up though. Also, how do you manage how much to eat if you're trying to maintain weight but build muscle and cut fat? Just eat until you're full? I weigh 124 (less than most womans lol) and can't seem to get myself to eat more. I'd rather face the cardio pain from running 10 miles than eating a whole chicken.
>>477705I'm saving this, by the way.
>>477709are you actually so fucking stupid that you could not, on your own, contrive the recipe: take chicken and add heat?
>>477710Yes.
>>477708> deliciousAm I the only one who only is able to stay on their daily targets when they stop wanting every meal to be delicious? Not knocking OP, it's just something I've noticed. OATZ with some milk and fruit is good, but I never look for it to be "delicious."
>>477714Yeah, I still order based on what I'd like to eat rather than what I probably should. Probably why I've got the gut. I've seen some people without beer bellys who seem to eat anything though, which is kind of astounding.
>>477705fried chicken is bad for you and has barely any fucking proteinITT: newfags
Seems like /fit/ either rages uncontrollably at you or tries to offer advice. Where's the middle ground?
