Hey /fit/So I've started running a lot more lately (7k every other day or so at this point) to switch it up from rowing wich is what I normally do. I'm not fat exactly, but I am pretty big due to some extra fat I'm still working off and muscle. The problemb I'm having is there's some pain developing in my left knee wich has a bad history. I've dislocated it half a dozen times over the years and have had surgery to tighten up the ligaments. Normally it doesn't bother me at all and the only time it's gone out since surgery/strengthening is when something has pushed it out so I'm not too worried about that. Also the pain really isn't bad at this point, it's more like a sign wich is why I'm here. Is running generally fine on knees or is this something I should look into more closely? Are there any techniques or things I can do to minimize knee strain while running? (I already warm up/stretch well before I start) Any other general tips? I really don't want to stop because I'm enjoying it so much but also don't want to fuck over my legs. They get me places.pic sadly unrelated.
