Sup /fit/
This might be the most ironic question in 4chan, but how do I gaing weight? Seriously, I'm skinny as hell, I did some research and found out that muscle weights more than fat, so I begun excercising, and as you can see I've progressed nothing, maybe is the fact that I don't have a routine (I just go out to run until I'm tired, then do push-ups and some other stuff until I'm also tired and don't feel like doing any more). While not a very good one, I try to keep a balanced diet, except that I eat a lot of meat (meat tastes fucking awesome), any ideas /fit/?

tl;dr how do I gaing weight?

Pic is obviously me.

YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG!

If you're already a skinny boy, stop running. Never run again. You don't need it. Eat more, Lift weights, Problem solved.
>> Anonymous
High weight low reps, eat plenty of protein especially after lifting.

Isn't difficult, running isn't gonna make you put weight on, it will help your cardio.

Also grow older.

20-years old, I have magic genes that makes me look younger, same genes that makes me skinny and weak, so can't have everything, right?

Anyway, weight lifting and proteins is it, right? Thanks anon. Self sage to prevent drama

Any time, I'm underweight without exercise so have done it myself. Have put on 5kg recently thanks to resistance training.

stop cardio (running) NOW. this will just burn off all the calories and fat you ate.

i would try to get some muslces by lifting, since you are thin already you should get results soon.

I'm in the same situation as you OP. I have the -exact- same arms and shoulders.
I just started on a program this week, hoping for some nice results eventually.

So far I've just added some daily tuna to my meals, I guess you pretty much have to eat more than you really feel like doing.

here's an idea, how about instead of coming here and asking your stupid questions you go and
actually read up on fitness, health and diet? you know, empower yourself and shit?

if you want to be healthy and fit, why don't you read about what healthy and fit people do?

Wanna know the secret to losing weight and feeling great? Wanna know the way to turn those scrawny

legs/arms into tree trunks? Well I have the answer for you.
It's called hard work.
It's not called going to the gym WITH A BOOK and being able to read it while you "exercise". It's

not called doing 20 min. of weightlifting for "toning". And it is definatley not thinking that just "cutting the carbs or calories or fat" will work.It is about getting out of your comfort zone and doing something about your fat ass and out of shape body.
There is a reason why there are so many of you /f/at faggots out there and so few of us /f/it
tards. Because getting into a fit shape AND keeping it takes hard work. This involves removing yourself from your chair/couch and getting yourself out of your comfort zone.

when you resist the philosophy of hard work, your gains in the gym will come to a standstill.

he is RIGHT when he tells you to get out of your comfort zone and work hard

i dont understand why people, who want to change the composition of their bodies (leaner, more muscle etc), make fun of the very men who can do just that day in and day out, and get insane results because they know what the fuck they are talking about.

instead, these people listen to some 150lb flabby PT who took a weekend course. or brad pitt in fight club

here's my philosophy towards life:

SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LIFT

/fit/ needs much more of that. your program can be kinda crappy, but if you are laying your heart out every time you step into the gym, you will probably make gains.

people need to learn to push themselves beyond their mental limit and way out of a comfortable zone

You need to lift every other day and eat every two ~ three hours. Caesin protein shake at bedtime. It's prolly gonna take a long time.

>>181942

but then you're doing it wrong
you're saying it yourself, muscle weight more than fat
if you exercice and get muscle you will maybe weight more, but you will still be skinny

I have the same problem, I took 10 kg in around one year, by starting to seriously working out (full-contact training and weight lifting)
but I still look skinny (even if Im muscled all over.. shirt on I look fucking skinny )

do you have any hand weights? If so what size? Also Do way more push ups.
>> Anonymous
YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG, ALL OF YOU!

Lots of protein shakes and eggs. LOTS. Pushups and pullups will help a lot, eat slender portions of meat. When you play beer pong, put protein shakes in yours and hit the weight machine in your friend's basement between each game.

I'm a swimmer, so I have to keep a strict weight throughout the entire year, therefore being an expert in both gaining and losing weight if I need to.

Good luck.

This is what I did. I weighed 150 pounds and bulked up to 200. Now i am down to 185 and getting ripped.

If you dont have any money... good luck because you will be spending $600 a month on food. EAT EAT EAT.. workout, eat. You wont have a life for awhile but if you are disciplined... it will pay off.

You look like a skeleton, too.

Im just like OP with a similar question. So I should just give up running all together? It wouldn't keep me in shape overall and give me more stamina?
