/fit/, what are some great low calorie foods? This is a resurrection of another thread from the other day. Some winner results from then:

- Fiber One Cereal
Salsa with plain saltine crackers. Saltine crackers have roughly 10 calories per crackers and salsa has 10 calories per two tablespoons. Might not be a perfect replacement for greasy chips, but it does the job just fine. Spicy foods also raise your metabolism higher than normal foods.

Tofu Shirataki noodles. Very similar to regular al dente pasta. Has no funny taste. Come pre-cooked. 40 calories per EIGHT OUNCES (that's half a box of regular pasta). Find a low calorie vegetable marinara sauce to pair them with, and you can wolf down a big bowl of it for practically no calories. Also good for stir frying or simply with soy sauce and some seasonings. Haven't gone back to regular noodles.

Ballpark or Oscar Meyer 99% fat free turkey dogs. 40 calories, 5 grams of protein. Make fucking four of them if you want, it'd only be 160 calories. Goes good with fat free baked beans or just cut up and dipped in a low cal sauce. If you need buns, look for Wonderbread lite buns that have 80 calories each.

Water. No calories, sugar or fake sugar, no sodium, nothing. 0 calories per gallon. Tastes great when cold, really refreshing and hits the spot. Fuck diet soda or tea.

I got that new Special K Protein cereal. each serving (3/4 cup) has 100 calories, 10g of protein and 5g of fiber. Only 2g of sugar. I think I'll enjoy my FiberOne or Kashi GOLEAN Crunch more, but I'll give it a whirl.
