Polysporin on Zits? Anonymous
Ok, so i have zits on my face. Googled around and it turns out that it might be cysts. The problem is it turns red and starts to swell and I don't acne cream works since it inflammation my skin making it redder and stings. So I am wondering if I should put polysporin on it to reduce the redness and speed the healing of my face and kill the bacteria i have.

have you tried 10% benzoil peroxide+accutane?

Have you tried just going to the dermatologists?

2.5% works fine. it is less harsher for the skin, and may prevent the irritation.
my advice is to go see a dermatologists, to confirm if its a zit or cysts.

Wash your pillowcases and sheets weekly. Eat healthy and drink lots of water. Wash your face two or three times daily at most (don't dry it out). Moisturize. Use benzoyl peroxide on zits asap. GET A GOOD AMOUNT OF SLEEP (7-9 hours a night).

I did this and saved a shitload of money on dermatologists and prescription medication. The sleep is the biggest thing it seems. If I don't sleep enough, I almost always break out. Try it, and if after a few weeks you don't see any difference, go to a dermatologist.

Work out to the point of dry sweat, and keep at that pace. Testosterone clears faces.

You should go see a doctor or a dermatologist, they'd know. As far as polysporin goes, if yours is even close to that bad I doubt it would do anything.

I went on Accutane for 6 months, cleared it all up, but you may have to go on it for longer (maybe 18 months, don't know) depeneding on how bad it is. Work out, always change/wash your pillowcase, every night, wash your face twice a day and always dry it off with a fresh cloth or towel. Also, don't touch your face unless you washed your hands. Basically, don't let anything dirty touch your face. You probably need a referal form a GP to see a dermatologist, but check around.

If it's really bad, Polysporin won't do anything except maybe clog your pores. Also, don't put cremes on your face, those clog pores. (unless you need to) I wash with Spectro Gel, works really well for me.

I haven't heard anything good about oxyclean but if it works for you then whatever.

Well I stayed up late playing video games and blogging on 4chan mostly. I cut back on salt intake in foods of all kind and show everyday twice in which all come with blood dripping from somewhere on my face. I'm guessing a break out happens and juices of pus leak out from one of many cysts on my face. So yeah i went out to shoppers drug mart and picked up some benzo peroxide 10% brand.

DONT FUCKING TOUCH YOUR FUCKING FACE. I WANT TO POST THIS IN BOLD CAPS AND THREATEN THE MOD WITH RAPE UNTIL HE STICKIES THIS, YOU WILL HAVE ACNE WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT. but you will clear up if you, and let me clarify because the whole thing about touching your face even with dirty, nasty nerd fingers causes acne IS A MYTH. im saying dont destroy your face bursting pimples that are not there, if they have grown into, i sincerely apologize their is a medical term for them, the big white ones, you have already been fucking with them, you still dont touch it. i dont care how nasty it looks, its simple math(?) the more you pick at a certain bad one the longer its going to stay etc.

sage for stoopid thread btw

I can't really stop since i wear these plastic surgical gloves to touch my face at all time. Before I didn't wear them and it got worse. Everytime my face got itchy i tend to scratch it and then it came to this. So I wear gloves now. I take them off when i eat.
