Hey, I'm buying a membership to a local gym soon, and I'm wondering what a good gym itinerary would be for somebody in my situation. The pic is an artistic rendering of me.

I'm 6'2", 260lbs.

I'm working on a diet, but I'm losing weight very slowly on it, I want to speed things up at the gym.

I can't run on the treadmill, as after I do so, my knees feel like they're broken. I'm thinking elliptical and stationary bike?

HIIT on elliptical

dear op. i recommend doing full-body lifting routines followed by cardio. you could lift M W F. also, try doing a longer cardio session on T TH minus the lifting.

try doing compound lifts like bench press, squats, rows and stay away from isolated lifts like curls, calve raises, etc. i am sure you are trying to lose fat, not get strong, but the reason you should do these lifts is because they signal your body to release greater amounts of testosterone, which will help lower your body fat.

OP here. Many years from now, I'd love to have a kickass body like this pic.

What does this stuff mean:

>you could lift M W F
>longer cardio session on T TH

Thanks.

Lift weights if you want that body. Weights not only build muscle but also burn calories! Turn mush into muscle!
