Mornings.. Anonymous
/fit/

Weird problem I have. For the last few months, I haven't able to eat breakfast at home. If I eat, 90% of the time I feel sick and throw it up. This ends up in me having to bring a breakfast bar or something where I go in the mornings. Anyone ever experience this or know what might be causing this?

Sometimes it takes your body awhile to wake up and get hungry. In our fast paced world, most people don't give their body enough time to go through the process of waking itself up before they rush off and go to school or work.

I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it lasts for an hour or more after you wake up. Just give it some time, and eat when you're hungry.

Yes it could be as simple as this or it could be more serious.

Go for a blood test OP. I was like that for several months before it was discovered I had sepsis. Don't panic as it may be nothing but what the above poster suggested but better safe than dead.

OP here. Thanks for the reply, that makes me feel better. And yes, it really lasts less than an hour usually.

OP again. I do actually have a blood test scheduled for next week, since this has made me a bit nervous.

Yeah don't worry if it's only happenign for this long. Eat a smaller meal in the morning though and see how you go. If it persists then see a doctor.

Mucus. You're gagging on it while brushing. Do you smoke?

Don't smoke.

I still think it's just mucus. But the doctor can tell you when you go for a blood test anyway. You can try drinking 2 large glasses of water in the morning too to wash out mucus and getting your digestion going again in the morning as well.
