Hey /fit/ I'm 5'9" 140.8lbs (175cm, 64kg). I've no access to a gym and I've been trying to workout at home for the past month. I do 20x3 pushups, pullups to failure on my pullup bar and this series of ab exercises http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fU_8kJeXeE daily.I wanna start lifting some dumbbells as well. I have 3kg dumbbells but they feel really light to me. Which weight should I buy? and how many times should I lift it?
>no access to a gymwe all know thats not true,justgotothegym
>>166342But they'll look at me ;_;
>>166348Not everyone at the gym is going to be fit, there are plenty of older women and fatties. Based on your height and weight you shouldn't be embarrassed. So stop being a wuss and get to it.
>>166348This ain't me. What's wrong with just wanting to train at home jesus christ
well purchasing all the equipment a gym has can be expensive
>>166354if you can buy a power rack for your house, go aheadotherwise, go to the gym(a power rack is about $300-400)

>>167280>20 pullupsI lol'd.
>>167280
>>167280lol, 20 pullups is ok but 200 pushups and 500 situps is just stupid. Do them right and 80 pushups and around 100 situps is enough. Youll ofc have to do other exercises, the youtube video OP linked is pretty decent for abs.
>>167298I can't even do one pull up :(But I have a broken arm.
>>167343You need to be doing one armed pullups using only 2 fingers
Everyone is a dickhead, just get a set of 2x10kg dumbbells, you can tonnes of stuff with them.
