Gentlemen, what is the absolute MINIMUM different foods that you can eat and still get all the nutrition you need?

Soon, I'll be changing my diet. And just to make things fairly simple, I'd like to minimize the number of different types of food I have to eat.

If you had to pick just a handful of different kinds of food, which foods would you pick to still get everything your body needs? I'm thinking maybe 2-3 different kinds of meat, 2-3 kinds of fruit, 2-3 kinds of veggies, etc.

eggs and some fruit to supply vitamin c and fiber are the only foods you need to survive forever. egg yolk contains all of the vitamins and minerals needed for survival except vitamin c

Doesn't it also have lots of cholesterol? I eat lots of egg whites, but not many yolks. I guess I could though.

yeah, eggs are entirely self contained systems that grow in them a living animal. they have to contain all of the nutrients needed to sustain life, why they dont need to have vitamin c i dont know though...
