Oh God. One of those would be so nice, but I would be so unworthy of it.

I'd have to go with a climbing rope. I can't find a good one anywhere locally, but they're great for pull-up and grip strength, and for making your palms tough as kevlar.

Just found this and it's cheap. Would like some kind of rowing machine with seperate handles. Place I bought my freeweights in Ottawa doesn't have any.

Roman chair, my lower back injury is really recovering with this thing.

At peak thus far I'm holding 75 lbs sandwich of three plates while doing 3x10. It's a delicate balance, have to watch to take short break immediately when pain reverts.

Unless it has a giant wheel at the front that could take your fucknig fingers off, it's not a real rowing machine.

It would be a lot easier to just hold dumbells as you did it instead of plates.

a great way to injure yourself. if you wanna work out your lower back, then deadlifts are the way to go.
>> RSI guy !HjbWRiSTJ.
hey, i'm already injured and i'm doing it properly enough that it feels BETTER. it's possible to do correctly.

i hug the plates with my arms to my body. not quite the same as dumbbells, but i could try that i suppose.

Powerlifter I knew used to use a loaded Olympic barbell on the hyperextension. He was a hardcore motherfucker; did like five years for armed robbery and took up PL in the joint.

But yeah, DBs are easier. And fun!

cool, i aspire to be that hardcore mf.

i was trained using plates, i'll try db for variety, but as it seems harder i intend to keep using plates. 25 lbs at least most days, 75 on one peak day recently.

it's one of my most sensitive exercises. my sets are frequently interrupted by back pain. but it recovers in a few seconds hanging, or with a gentle twist. my back feels stronger for a whole 1-2 days later every time.

and i'm smallish guy, at 5'6", everyone in the gym copies me after i do it. makes me feel uber.
