so here's the thing.

I am a girl, 17, 5'3", 140 lbs.

In the past year I have put on 15 lbs. A number of things have been the culprit in this weight gain. Morbid obesity runs in my family and environment wise: I work at a fucking Dairy Queen and I really like ice cream (no self control) and stress I have realized has caused me to eat more. So I want to lose 10 lbs by may and 20 lbs by July. Help

Eat less, do cardio and quit being such a fat big.

I swear to god, every answer to thread is the same!

How far do you live from your place of work? If it's viable, start walking to and from work every day. Stop eating ice cream so much. Replace fluids with water. You should see some results.

"I want to gain weight/strength"
Eat more, workout more

"I want to lose weight/fat"
Eat less, workout more

hey fatty

stop blaming genetics and accept that you are just lazy and eat too fucking much

obesity runs in your family simply because you've learned your parents' gluttinous lazy ass behaviors, not because your genes magically make you fat from thin air

want to lose 10-20 lbs by summer? then start running 45 minutes every day, just eat chicken breast, vegetables, oats, tuna, cottage cheese, milk, eggs, lentils/beans, and fruits. eat as much of these foods as you want, but don't buy any other foods. do not eat any desserts.

if you do that, by summer you will have easily lost 10-20 lbs. but of course your fat lazy fuckass probably thinks this is "too extreme" even though it's simple as fuck and requires very little willpower

from march-may, i walked an hour - two hours each night and ate until i was full/didnt snack as much. i lost 20lbs. its really not hard.

as a kid i liked a lot of sweet things, ice cream and shit, but the older i have gotten and the more i eat healthier and drink water over say, soft drinks, i realize shit is too fucking sweet. back off the really sweet things like ice cream and sodas for two weeks and drink mostly water. see if your opinion doesnt change on how sweet that shit is. gross

I keep hearing about this shit, but i don't buy it. Over the course of a year i lost nearly 100 pounds by switching to almost primarily water, being more active and not eating two bags of Doritos for breakfast every day.

Every now and again i'll treat myself to a Dr Pepper or a root beer for dinner instead of water and it still tastes fucking delicious. Junk food and beer/liquor are still great.

a) see b.

b) i only posted as a suggestion. some people will never loose their sweet tooth. i lost mine and really cannot stand sweet things like ice cream-soda-etc. from the way op talks, the taste for those foods probably wont change, but suggestions never hurt.

op here...
yeah some people love fried food, some people like salty food, i have always liked sweets. It really sucks, though I really do enjoy fruits, they seem to be sufficient sometimes in quieting my sweet tooth.
