Sup /fit/. I'm 5'8" and just hit 140lbs after a few months of exercising and such (for the record, I was never disgustingly overweight, highest I've been at is probably 155). Also, I'm female, inb4nogirls, etc.

Is this a healthy weight for me to be at? I'm still not at a comfortable "bikini weight", but I feel pretty damn good about myself, and I'm in excellent shape because my stamina's gotten a lot higher.

As far as I see it, the only reason to keep losing weight would be to be more socially acceptable. But really, I'm probably not going to want to wear bikinis anyway, so does it matter?

Try losing a bit more,if it makes you feel even better then do it

If you are feeling good, keep up exercising to be fit, to keep your heart in shape, and stay strong.

Also, my ex-gf was 5'8" and 135lbs (runner, worked out a bunch) and I thought that was the perfect weight... Looked great in a swimsuit and a great ass.

There's nothing wrong with you. It's society's standards that are fuXored.
Do what makes you comfortable.

you'd probably look good in a bikini but have some sort of self image problem.

5'8" should be like 125 for a girl.

I'm a 5'8" girl, and I've been at various weights from a 200 lb landwhale to a 100 lb skeletor. Other people always seem to think that I look best between 130-140 lbs; anything under or over and I get comments about being too fat/thin. So you're definitely at a healthy weight, and other people probably think that you look fine. If you feel good about it too, then great! If not, you could lose some more, just don't drop below 120, as that's the minimum healthy weight for somebody of your height.
