Okay /fit/, some help needed. So I've been doing cardio for around a month, trying to lower my body fat... Thing is, I've gotten an increase in appetite... I'm doing my best to not eat so much (and doing a good job so far), but sometimes it's almost uncontrollable. What would you guys recommend to lower this hunger? More snacking? More meals throughout the day? I eat around 3-4 times a day.

Pic unrelated, but full of awesomeness.

More meals, and go for food that fills you up, but doesn't give much calories.

Hmmm, thought so. What, though? All that comes to mind are salads... Lettuce usually fills me up quite good, but there should be other things... Gotta make another trip to the supermarket soon.

Eat 6 times a day composed of high protein, good fats and limit your carbs. I like to keep cooked chicken pieces & nuts around so if i get hungry i eat a few slices of chicken and usually lose my appetite just chewing.

Please elaborate.

Don't nuts have a lot of calories, though? Well anyway, I try to keep my portions reasonable (applies to cheat meals, too). Not big, not small... Like I said, though, sometimes it's hard to keep it like that and I end up overdoing it a bit.

Regarding snacks, I've recently started to buy "light" yogurts and cottaged cheese.

more nuts? you gotta be kidding me. you're trying to create a deficit, so STOP EATING. when you're eating meals, just drink a lot of water with it, and eat the most stuff you can with the least amount of calories so you won't snack later.

google 'what does 200 calories look like' asshole

Er... What about my body going into "starvation mode"?

There's no such thing. Lies perpetrated by obese people, quacks, etc. It isn't so easy to alter the way your body's metabolism works.

Eat whatever you want, regardless of what you eat will power is still required. You seem to be the type of person who pretends to exercise and diet, but actually spends more time talking to people at the gym and eating $5 energy bars all day. You know what's required to lose weight, just fucking do it faggot.

My own personal
1. Write down everything you eat/orcellpics/etc.
2. Eat every 2-3 Hours
3. Fruit and/or Vegetable every "meal"
4. Protein with every meal.
5. No drinks that contain calories other then maybe some green tea.
6. Fish Oil
7. Dominate.

Good source of protein and good fats. I don't know how many calories you are eating a day, but nuts are a decent way to bump them up if you aren't eating nearly the amount you should be.

Go be stupid somewhere else.
