Well if I had fungus all over my body, the first question I would ask is "What's causing this, doc?"

Sounds like you need to talk to him again. It would be better to learn what causes it and try to fight it from the root, instead of messing with this stuff.

Fungal infections are communicable (can be passed on by people like colds) but the real culprit is change in skin pH and bacteria. Could be as simple as overusing an antibacterial bodywash that kills off the necessary bacteria to fight off a fungal infection, then BAM! You come in contact with someone with athlete's foot, yeast infection, ringworm or any number of other stuffs. All of those shits are easily caught if your skin pH is out of whack. This is why some doctors frown upon the whole antibacterial and everyday shower crusades.

Seriously, asking a doc "how did I get a fungal infection" will only cause the doctor to snigger about eating some infected vagoo out or an all-over footjob. NOT recommended.

Having said that, OP, don't use the foaming solution, it's going to sting, itch and irritate you further in your state (you're meant to leave it on until the next shower).

Just get some baby powder (they're finer than the talcum powder for adults) and sprinkle it around the affected areas to keep them dry and not festering until they're healed.
