sup /fit/fags,

about 4 months ago I got mono and lost 17 pounds. I was 6'3" and 151lbs.

Now, after 2 months of bodyweight and endurance exercises (pushups, pullups, chinups, planks, bodyweight squats, running, cycling) and some dumbbell exercises (curlz for gurlz, tricep extensions, etc.) and diet, I'm now up to 170.

Question:
should I stick with bodyweight exercises?

or is it a good time to start stronglifts again?

also, anyone have full bodyweight week plans I can compare? This pavel book is nice and all, but I'm lazy and would like a premade plan to compare/contrast.

Thanks.

i think you should start stronglifts, especially if you're looking for mass. i did it for 12 weeks and moved on to a different program, more bodybuilding type than strength training. it really gave me the foundation i needed though to continue more advanced lifting.

Yep, Lewisville, just north of Dallas, near Denton.

is this a picture of when you were 151 or current at 170? I can't imagine you being 170 and looking like that. I'm 6'3" and 165 with what looks to be more muscle mass.

This is me today at 170. I think most of the weight comes from my legs. I have a lot of muscle from hiking/cycling/walking/running, etc. This is the second time I've had mono (ffs) and last time I gained back pretty quickly, so my goal is 180 and 10% body fat by christmas. I just can't decide if I want to do body weight exercises or compound lifts to get there.

Compound lifts with a healthy mix of cardio.
