Hey /fit/

I have chicken legs. Chicken legs in that I lack both muscle and fat in my calves. I've always been skinny, but lately I've started developing my upper body more, leaving me at 5'10" and around 145lbs. I do a lot of cardio, and one of the main things I've started doing is running stairs.

What I wanna know is, will running these stairs build up my calves and help to get rid of my chicken legs? Or will it just burn fat?

Oh and for the record I'm 18, if that matters.

OP here: yeah I work out my legs (squats, calf raises, etc) but I only have time to do it once a week (I get two days in the gym a week, upper one and lower the other). The other days I do cardio which usually consists of jogging and stairs.

oh. its good that you're already going to a gym. good job. anyway, buy a jump rope. use it 3 times a day, 2 minutes in the morning, 5 minutes mid-day, and 10 minutes before an evening shower. also, eat more meat. plain and simple.

OP again. Yes in a matter of about a month I've changed my diet from chips, soda, and TV dinners to water (a lot) deli meats, egg whites, and various fruits and vegetables. I also eat a lot of oat meal and bagels. I'm thinking about switching to skim milk and maybe starting up on using protein supplements.
