I bought a chin-dip station on the cheap and for several months did nothing but bodyweight exercises and HIIT at home. It was great! I lost 20+ lbs, got in great shape, felt better, looked better.
Then I decided I wanted to get bigger, faster. What can I say... I have a vain streak like many people on this board. Buying weight room equipment would have been far too expensive and space-consuming. So I joined a gym and love it. When I get older and cardio health becomes more critically important than somatic strength, I'll go back to my home routine.
