/fit/ what can I do to make my teeth whitier? I don't smoke and I brush my teeth 4 times a day. Is there any product out there that can help? Or do I have to go to the dentist and pay a looot of money to get it done?

If you consider ~$300 a lot of money, then you might have trouble. The over the counter whitening products such ass. Best way to do it is to get your teeth bleached by a dentist who knows what the fuck they are doing and won't screw up your gums.

Brushing 4 times a day is only going to ruin your teeth because youll brush off the layer that protects them. Brush 2 times a day, after a meal. Also use a soft brush.

Some of those whitener product should work, and some toothpastes have whitener in em, try using those on a regular basis.

I cant say I tried any of these though. My teeth arent sparkling white but their not yellow either. Im sure id notice it if I tried but noone ever told me I have yellow teeth or anything.

I tried these once, about a year ago. They helped significantly then, and while they aren't as sparkling white as they were immediately after finishing, they're much better than what they started out at.

I brush twice a day (sometimes three), floss twice a week (lazy), and mouthwash when needed.

Another thing: brush gently. I used to always brush like mad because the dentist really had a go at me when I was a child, and I'd end up wearing out my brush in 1 month instead of 3.

I've noticed since brushing gently that my gums don't recede so much and it feels like there's a thicker layer of enamel on my teeth.

Crest White Strips are enamel safe. I'm using them right now, actually. About halfway in and my teeth are noticeably whiter.

How much are Crest White Strips, and how long do you have to use them?

Or get toothpaste that has baking soda/peroxide built in.. like most whitening toothpastes.

You can even feel the grittiness of it.

True, but I prefer brushing with actual baking soda.
Either or is fine, that's just my personal preference

Is there anything you can do to strengthen tooth enamel? I've noticed that some of my teeth have a fairly noticable thinning, which is a little worrying.

Act mouth wash and/or Gel-Kam.
