I decided I want to stop being built like a q-tip, so I've been hitting the gym lately. I enrolled in a weight lifting class this semester (college student) but we only meet twice a week for about forty-five minutes. I try to get out more often, with my goal being around four of five visits to the gym each week (these usually being the class days, Wednesday, and once or twice on the weekends).I'm hardly a physical specimen but it seems rather half-hearted to take it easy with only two or three times a week. Is 4/5 days a week a good starting poiont for a fitness newbie like me? Should I crank it up? Back off?tl;dr What's a good number of days to work out without low-balling or overworking myself?
3 days max for noobs
>>335615Really? That little?I guess it explains why I've been sore as fuck for the past week.
>>335629yes, if we're talking just weight lifting. do as much cardio as you want (including none).
