Hey /fit/, just a couple quick questions...I've been pretty satisfied with the results I've been getting so far. I eat about or under 1000 calories a day, and don't really bother to work out. I lift 10 pound weights and do some sit-ups from time to time, but thats it. I mainly just sit on my ass or lay in my bed all day (And I've gone from 6'1" 180lb to 160lb in about 2 months.) However I feel like I'm not losing weight nearly as fast as I was, and I'm starting to get ultra-huge urges to eat some high-calorie meals, so my quetions are, is there anyway for me to burn off these calories, without going outside, or to a gym? It's possible for me to get a weight machine here in the next couple of days to finally work out a bit, will that really do any good to help burn a high-calorie meal. I don't have a problem with running or anything, but a treadmill isn't an option, I'm not going outside (I just hate working out outside, though I'm in the sun plenty, I don't know why it sucks so much for me) and there isn't really a good gym here, and I wouldn't go to it anyways because I know it would be fail.

I'd just jog around the house, but with people living on the same floor as me, and below me that isn't an option either, please help, there probably aren't any "secrets" to magical fitness without actually getting out and running, but any small tips will help greatly.

Pic related, god I can't believe I ate something like that two days in a row.

You feel the need to binge beacuase you've trickedyour body into thinking you're starving. You'll soon stop losing weight. Way to go.

Do what now? So 1000 calories a day was a bad thing? I figured that if I do nothing but sit around all day, and wanted to still lose weight that was about the best thing.

wow, OP, you basically posted a question ive been meaning to post for days--only difference is, i walk for 40 min a day (nothing high intensity, just casually walking to a different part of town and back) and have managed to keep losing weight at about the same rate. i'm 6'1, went from 220 down to now 188 in about 2 months;

I think if you find someplace worth walking to for 40 min a day and make it a part of your routine you should probs be fine (then again i could be completely wrong I dont really know anything)

Yeah, that's the issue. First of all, you've been loosing 10 pounds a month (>(And I've gone from 6'1" 180lb to 160lb in about 2 months.)) this is actually a lot. A pound is equal to about 3500 calories. So simply eating 500 less calories a day yeilds about 1 pound per week. (equating to about 4-5 pounds a month from just NOT EATNG AS MUCH)

You should nto be eating less than 1500 calories a day, assuming you're normal sedentary person. Your body started burning a lot of weight (twice as much as a normal slight, 500 calorie less-a-day diet) but now beleives that it's starving.

What normally happens is exactly what you're experiencing, Loss, binge, loss, binge then normally some related eating disorder.

RAPID WEIGHT LOSS IS NOT ALWAYS GREAT IDEA GUYZ! even the Atkins diet only has rapid weight loss for 2 weeks.

I suggest eating at least 1500 calories a day and working out. It sucks, but if you don't want to exercize you obviously don't want to lose weight.

Just a word for all "large" men wanting to loose weight. CRASH DIETS SUCK. You can't just stop eating, you cant just go on a no carb diet and you cannot do either and massive work outs. OR THIS SHIT WILL HAPPEN

The best course of plan s to stop eating 500 calories a day for a while. Then, after a week or two start working out GRADUALLY, do this for a month or 3. THEN IF YOU STILL FEEL LIKE YOU'RE NOT LOSING WEIGHT FAST ENOUGH GO ON A KETOSIS TYPE DIET
