having been extremely active for the last 15 years, I've suffered enough really painful injuries to know that a healthy body does not mean pushing myself to ridiculous limits.
I'm not competing in the olympics anytime soon, so I'd much rather dial it back a bit and not risk debilitating injury. Not to mention, at my heaviest, I was about 190, and I was HUGE. but in general, I have a tall and slim body type, so I'm never going to be able to displace crazy amounts of weight.
