Do you have any more specific questions? I'm working on gaining weight and increasing my appetite too.
What I did to start out is keep a food diary to get a feel for my eating habits, and I read a lot to learn how to gain weight correctly. What I learned is that I need to eat a lot, AND (very important part) do some form of muscle building strength training, as well as eating HEALTHY food (you will be eating a lot more, so getting it as junk food will be bad in the long run, might as well stay skinny).
From now on read all nutrition labels and look up the nutrition information for food you don't have a label on. You'll gradually learn what foods you want to eat, and which ones you should avoid. http://exrx.net/Nutrition.html
