/fit/, i need your help. I've been working out regularly for awhile now, but I'm faced with a dilemna. I work as a cook, so one meal a day is free--which is breakfast. But I still have lunch and dinner to cover. However, I make around 10-20$ in tips on average. Now this is my dilemna. I got the job the other day, and I came in during the last pay day. So for the next two weeks, I'm living off tips. Which means I have around 15$ on average to feed myself every two days.Except it's only 15$. Not a bulk sum I have to make last for about 15$ a day, but 15$ in cash a day. What do I eat?

>>249230Eggs are out, as I eat enough at work. (Breakfast cook). I was thinking of brown bread + tuna, but I want some more variety for protein if it's going to be for the next couple weeks.
if you do go with deli meat like anon said, make sure its no the pre packaged kind, its usually loaded with sodium and other preservatives.
I eat on about $4 a day. I am 5'8" and 185lbs, so I'm not starving myself. Eggs, bread, tuna, canned vegetables, chicken, pasta, salt, and pepper. You could probably buy everything but the chicken on your first $15.
>>249234Nuts are good but out of your price range. Go for peanut butter.
>>249234Beans and rice instead. http://exrx.net/Nutrition/Protein.html Look at the "choose one from each list" section. That should cover you. When you have some saved up, buy a small chicken for some variety.
