>>250616 I'm eating a lot of complex carbs and other nutritional things in a attempt to bulk up slightly; oatmeal cooked in milk with nuts and bananna slices added, plenty of veggies, multigrain bread, pasta, turkey and chicken sandwhiches with lettuce and tomatoes and, when I feel like snacking, Triscuit crackers and cottage cheese, sometimes combined. During breakfast and dinner I drink grapefruit juice and milk. Outside of dinner and breakfast I drink only water.
The main question I have is if I can do ab and leg workouts, like weighted crunches and dumbbell lunges, on my off day; I heard some people say that the abs heal faster then other muscles, so you don't need a day for resting. I was thinking about also doing cardio [bike riding] on my off day, and was wondering if this would have any negative effect. Any critiques or advice anyone has to offer on my routine would be appreciated, as I want to make sure Im doing this right.
