OP here, I have gut I've been trying to lose for the last year or two (Im 20), but that's really secondary to building muscle at this point. Really I'm just trying to body build and hope the gut will take care of itself by eating right and building up to heavier wieghts. I just have the attitude that every day I take off I feel as if I wasted it, although I realize rest is crucial to growing. So I just want to know what is the least amount of time I should be resting without putting myself at risk of injury.
