Sup /fit/izens,

I'm looking to lose some weight. Currently, I'm 207 at 5'6" (anything but /fit/) and want to drop to 150 lbs.

From lurking on this board, I've learned I need to eat clean, OATZ included, and start walking. Slowly but surely work my way up to jogging/running/HIIT, light weight lifting and SQUATZ.

Is this it? Anything I left out? Advice is greatly appriciated. Also, asian tits.

ok no joke I went from being 250 lbs to being 135 lbs in 8 months. It's kinda risky and kinda hard but if you wanna try it I can tell you how I did it. Oh and Im 5'6 too lol

Alright Here goes.
Step1- Restricted my calories to about the 500-600 mark.
Step2-Worked out for 2 hours a day 6 days a week(saturday off)
step3-for the workout I did 30 minuts on a stationary bike, 45 minuts on a treadmill at full incline at 4.5 mph,then do 20 minuts of strength training(push ups,chin ups,ab workouts.
step4-every sunday I ate oatmeal and took naatural fiber(inulin) to flush my system and help ease constipation.
step5-started enjoying having a 28 inch waist and wairing size small in shirts

I did pretty much the same to lose 50 lb in 2.5 months. Except I only ran 3 miles a day, and ate only 300-600 cal of cereal basically.

Yes it sizes you down, but it also makes you skinny-fat and what many here would call unfit. You might be small, but congrats, you're also about 20% bodyfat. Everything about you is either bone or fat, there's no muscle to speak of. This methodology will cut the weight quickly, but it is in no way sustainable--eventually you'll have to hit the weights and eat proper if you want to lose more fat and gain some muscle.

Your absolutly right about being all fat lol. That was just for the weight man I had to lose it to be able to advance to a better lifestyle.Now I stay away from red meats and junk foods and eat around 1000-1500 calories a day and do ALOT of strenght training and man let me tell you Im getting ripped and haven't gained a pound of fat! I would recommend anybody to do it then up your calories while at the same time upping your strenght training routine.

i hope you're all fucking trolls because everything posted so far is beyond bullshit.

1) Eating any less than 2k calories a day is CRITICAL to your overall health/fat loss/long term results, especially if you are extremely overweight.

2) If you claim to be getting amazing results and fat loss eating barely any food(1000-1500 calories a day) you're not working as hard as you should be, endorphins are giving you a false sense of security, or you just started a week ago and made the standard beginner gains which will slowly diminish if you continue a diet like that.

3) fuck

whatever, you fucktards do what you want and enjoy your stretch marks and excess skin. If eating no food is how you want to lose weight(ALL of your muscle) go right ahead. Enjoy trying to live a normal life being completely burnt out of energy day after day, you'll probably end up losing less weight than you would following a HEALTHY diet because of all the time off you're going to need spent lying around on your ass because you're so exhausted you can barely move.

I eat my oats. I eat lunch. I try and stay with a small dinner. I also eat various healthy snacks throughout the day. mid morning. Mid afternoon. Before bed. Also much more protein than I ever had. Consists of a lot of my diet. Also more water and tea and NO SODA and minimal alcohol.

Going for 1800-2000 calories a day. Though I'm often pushing 2500. I don't want an unsustainable diet and I still want to be able to go out/enjoy myself/date. I take a multivitamin, a vitamin C and a fish oil per day.

I ride 6 miles three times a week and I swim 3 miles twice a week. I also work a fairly active job.

I've been doing this for 2 months. In the first couple of weeks I gained 5lbs. In last six weeks I've lost 25lbs including what I gained.

Strange but true. I'm assuming it is working and I feel much stronger in the legs/chest/back. Slightly stronger in the arms. As a side effect my neck seems out of proportion for some reason.
