You don't need weights to do pull ups well, here are some super awesome tips!
When you've hit around 5-10 pullups, start to stagger your arms--have one closer to your body, one further away. Reepeat this for both arms (I.E. one set right close, one set left close) until you can get good distance. This will allow you to eventually do one handed pullups, and also allows you to keep gaining strength
