hey /fit/

i just recently started weight training, just trying to get in good cut shape and lose the beer gut. 6'0" 180. Ive been taking whey protein after workouts. My aim is a pack by dec 17 which is when i fly home from school. Anyone been in a similar situation or have advice? Thanks

how can you see his dick?

My advice to you would be to get a new swimsuit, unless of course you live in the south of france, then by all means proceed

Hell, you could get a six-pack without any supplements. Especially by that time. Just, you know, follow what gets said here every day on /fit/. Most people know what they're talking about.

i used to be a diver, which explains the speedo, and explains why i now have a beer gut

You can do it! Eat a lot less. Work your abs a crazy amount. Mix it up between reps and intensity. Ex. 100+ situps versus Leg-Throwdowns with a friend. and Run, run, run 2 miles on a tread mill every other day and you are set

ooh, almost forgot, mix up between lots of reps, intensity, and suspension...for ex. six-inch killers, holding legs up on a pull-up bar

Not OP, but is it better to run 1-2 miles as fast as I possibly can until I feel like throwing up, or go for like 5 miles? They both leave me feeling about equally shitty, but I'm curious.

Sit ups are retarded. Leg throw downs are eh. Do full contact twists if you actually decide to workout your midsection.

Running for set distances or set amount of times is equally stupid. HIIT; tabata intervals; google in order to experience greater fat burning and superior endurance than most human beings.

Thanks for the tip. Just looked up tabata intervals--during the 10 second rest periods between sprinting, should I slow to a jog or just stop? Also, is it okay to do this on a treadmill, or should I find a track or something (there isn't one nearby)?

Whatever helps you recover. So you don't cramp, I'd recommend just not sprinting full on, as in running instead of jogging. Treadmills are trash; find a grass surface if possible.

Thanks. I'll try that.
