Spicy foods. Do they really positively influence your metabolism?
If so, then theoretically... if some fat shit is dieting... would dousing all their food in Frank's red hot sauce optimize their weight loss?

Cayenne is purported to have that effect, but the same can't be said for most other spicy peppers.

As am I.
I'm curious is one could build a diet based on metabolism-boosters such as Cayenne and whatever else there is... and be extremely successful in weight loss.

If you were smart about it, you could use chili peppers to; increase your pain threshold, aid in vasodialation, and be a laxative.

To be used specifically for weight loss may not work. I think that would fall in the category of "sweating," like saunas or going outside on a hot day. Yes you will burn calories and shed water weight, but there is a thousand more productive ways to do that.

Sigh. You guys, seriously. If you want to overload yourself on metabolism boosters, do what the anorexic chicks do.

Drink ice water, coffee, and green tea- at least six times a day for the caffiene and five glasses of water a day. Eat nothing but pickles, celery, low fat yogurt, cottage cheese, shirataki noodles, and spinach.

Eat less than 1000 calories per day.

tl;dr metabolism boosters and appetite suppressants- for the unhealthily obsessed.
