You made a fatal mistake, you came to /fit/ any advice you'll ask for will be answered in three ways.
1) DO MORE SQUATS 2) LIFT HEAVY 3) DO HIIT
Some people don't want to get big, not because they think it's PIG DISGUSTING. But because it can be a pain on the upkeep and may not be their goal. As for OP.
Once your abs are developed, you'll need to bring down your overall body fat. This can be dangerous if you're thin, because you'll eat away at muscle as well. However, if you're naturally skinny, it will just take constant ab exercise for them to show.
I.E. Ectomorphs get six packs easier.
