"Bicycle crunch 248%"

Now, when i do bicycle crunches, compared with normal crunches with legs elevated (against a wall) and pulling up using only abdominals, i feel more burn with the average crunches. Could it be with bicycle crunches i'm not putting enough emphasize on using the abdominal muscles only and doing them wrong all together, or are they just easier to do and provide a greater dividend?

Bump.

I don't think the burning feeling is really a direct indicator of how hard you're working a specific muscle, I think it has something to do with lactic acid release.

Doing it wrong.

They are an epic struggle when done correctly, and should light your abs up.

Make sure you're crunching your elbow/shoulder up and towards a leg, and also make sure you're crunching that leg towards you.
