hi /fit/,
Today I Decided to further fix my diet, which I already thought was pretty healthy. I've got a load of excess bodyfat but my bmi says I'm ideal weight. anyway, more importantly I checked my daily calorie intake and goddamnit it was only 745 cals a day. fuck. I started going to the gym 4 days a week and I usually burn about 400 cals in there from cardio. From what I've read on here I need to just about double my intake. It kind of goes against common sense but if I double the amount that I eat, am I going to lose this bodyfat? and by eating that little, I'm actually hindering my progress... starvation mode etc. So. If I eat moar, will I lose moar? because I've stopped losing altogether.

btw I'm going to double what I eat anyway I was just wondering about the likely implications of doing this. Also please dont rage about my accidental starving myself, I didn’t mean it.

Its possible that you miscalculated, or that you are really really small, otherwise you should go to talk to a doctor before it's too late.

At 745 cal/day you either sleep all day or you're completely emaciated. Check again.

You've stopped losing because your body takes every calorie now and makes the best use of it possible storing it as fat therefore you are losing fat from exercise but gaining it because you dont eat enough and forcing your body to do anything to survive.

Up it to 1200 (100 calories gain per day). You will put on a few pounds doing this, there is no avoidable way out of it.

Nope, triple checked. three meals a day w. no snacking, 350cal breakfast, 190 cal lunch, 205 dinner. I cycle to and from college every morning and go to the gym every other day. I've lost no weight.

you triple checked wrong. triple check your triple check. a 190 cal lunch would be no more than a tomato.
