I'd say it is easier than running half a mile.

I biked around my local lake (about 20 miles) a few times a week pretty easily. But when I tried to run a bit, I found myself exhausted.

I did a half marathon at 7mph and tapered down to 6.5 over 2 hours and only burned 1600 according to my Polar S725x
