I'm 6'4", 265 pounds. I know that according to the body mass index that this puts me on the obese mark, but I'm not. I have a very large frame. I am over weight, but certainly not obese.I used to be very active athletically, training as a boxer, skateboarding, hiking, football, all that good jazz. I had a doctor tell me to stop due to my hypermobile shoulders, and began to get out of shape. Cut to a few years down the road. I'm not taking care of myself, and I have a car accident, rupture a bursa and lose the use of my leg for a time. I was pretty much bed bound for ~4 months, and I'm finally getting to a point where I can run on it again.I want to turn this around. Right now the regiment I'm doing is working a 50lb bag for about 20 min, go running, come back, do some free weights, situps, shadowbox for another 20 min, and finish with either jumprope or more bag work.My questions are this: Is this a good workout? What can I do to strengthen my shoulders in particular? Anything that would really help rebuild muscle in my knee, or anything I should stay away from to avoid re-injuring it?Thanks.
squatz will help rebuild your knee, and bad squatz will help fuck it up. the key is learning to squat properly. good luck doing that one by yourself and with a bad knee.
>>85798yeah, I don't have the money for a gym or trainer, but I'm saving up to afford a few sessions at a muscle therapist. I'll ask her about proper squat form.
fucked up picture OP.
