/fit/, I am 6'3" and 155 lbs. I wish to put on more weight in muscle, but I am broke and am currently trying to find a job, so I can't buy any weights or get a gym membership yet. How can I start working out on my own without having to spend money?

Just do pushups, squats, situps/crunches?

put heavy stuff in a backpack. books or anything really. and yeah squats lunges even running.. and like you said pushups and crunches.
If you can find a place chinups are good, build your back

Bodyweight squats -> jumping bodyweight squats -> 1 leg squats.
Pushups -> incline pushups -> handstand pushups.
Chins -> Pullups -> backpack pullups.
Crunches -> V-ups, Planks, Windshield wipers.

Do them, and you'll have a better body than 95% of the posters here.

Yes, if he just does those, he'll have a good body....

Try and do the major compound exercise with heavy shit, ie deadlift, squat and bench. Also, eat more food.
