Jesus, why do I think this bar is worse than just normal protein bars you see in the store? I don't see how homemade bars are better.

I've tried home-made too, I just ended up with chocolate protein glue bars. The biggest problem with store-bought is all the shit they put in them. High fructose corn syrup, partially/hydrogenated oils, preservatives, etc etc. Basically, choose wisely and be picky.

maybe if he didn't put the two bars of Nature Valley Honey Oats in it it wouldn't suck as much.

Just put the whey powder in a baggie and eat it raw.

Not to mention they're overpriced as fuck. Fucking charge you like 2-5 dollars for a single bar sometimes, when the shit costs like 20 cents to make.

I got 180 bars of these Atkins Advantage bars for pretty cheap a while ago. They were like 94% lower than what they would be ($404) because it was some wholesale blowout thing. Each bar has like 220 calories, 11g fiber, and 17g protein. Not bad for a snack.
