sup /fit/Let's say there's this person, 200lbs with 20% body fat (40lbs body fat). Would this person then be able to drop down to 10% body fat (20lbs) in 10 weeks, assuming he lowered his caloric intake and jacked up his calorie burning to lose 2lb/s week and maintained the same lean body mass? Is this how cutting works? Is it really this simple? I'm sure there's something I'm overlooking, like it being a relative amount of fat lost as opposed to a strict 2lb/s week (or else it would be insanely easy to drop down to <5% body fat).tl;dr Is there a point where you can't cut at a rate of 2lbs/week, or even at all? Visceral fat and all that? How long would it take me to drop down to <10% body fat (currently 15% body fat or 25lbs)inb4 cutting is gay, I'm just wondering how this works
once you get to 10% body fat you have to do more than just cardio and lowering your diet to lose fat
Yeah. As you get to lower and lower body fat percentages your body starts to cling onto every last morsel of fat harder. 20 lbs in 10 weeks is possible, but it takes some serious balls to the wall dieting at the end.
