SO, i wake up in the middle of the night to extreme pain in my leg. the back of my left leg just under the knee to be exact.

The pain was so bad it took all my concentration not to scream or anything. . .

so i feel my leg, the muscle is completely contracted or whatever, as in its really hard. all on its own. the only thing i could think of was to massage it and the pain stopped all of a sudden, and as soon as it did, the muscle went back into a normal relaxed state. i went back to sleep and slept fine.

anyway, when i wake up today, i realized it may be a problem, plus the muscle aches a little like i pulled it or whatever.

anyone know what this is?

it is a petit mal seizure and you're an epileptic
grand mal is the same thing except over your entire body and you will have one if you dont get your drugs and take them five times a day every day

Absence seizure — also known as petit mal seizure — involves only a brief, sudden lapse of conscious activity. Occurring most often in children, absence seizure may look like the person is merely staring into space for a few seconds.

Compared with other types of epileptic seizures, the petit mal variety is very mild. But that doesn't mean they can't be dangerous. Children with a history of absence seizure must be supervised carefully while swimming or bathing, because of the danger of drowning. They may also be restricted from driving and other potentially hazardous activities.

Some people experience hundreds of these episodes each day, which interferes with their performance at school or work. Absence seizures can usually be controlled with anti-seizure medications. Many children outgrow these seizures in their teen years.

yep, thats definitely what i described.

I've had the muscle under my tongue cramped up a few times and let me tell you it hurt so much i wanted to cry.

It's so weird too because my whole face was cringing and my tongue was sore the entire day.

I've had that too. It's caused by calcium deficiency. Calcium is a muscle relaxant, if you body doesn't get enough it can cause severe muscle cramping. Take more calcium, a lot more and the problem will go away.
