I've got some 3 pound dumbells at home and I decied to start lifting them, on top of running 10 minutes every other day, it's better than nothing, I don't really know anything about techniques, But I drew a picture of what I did, do these have names, are they bad? also any other things i can do? Just gimme a name, ill look it up.

1-Stood up with arms to side and bent arm upwards at side with weight and back down, 5 times in a row, 4 times

2 -lifted up the weight with my elbow to my side kinda, but not touching, I had to use one hand to lift it up, and just one to let it down slowly, 5 times in a row 4 times

3-laid down and did kinda like a bench press I guess, 10 times in a row, 4 times

4-both elbows to side both hand on weight and lifted up to chest, then down, 10 times in a row, 4 times

Yeah, that's a good start. Honestly, OP, you're doing fine. By doing your own exercises, you're probably more motivated than if you had some know-it-all here start carping about all kinds of things that aren't really important to you and might overwhelm your initiative. Until you get to the point where lifting what you're lifting becomes trivially easy and you really need a new challenge, I'd keep doing exactly what you're doing. Starting from 0 is the hardest part. Your mission right now is to keep that up, for at least a month. If you can do that, you will be succeeding.

also, row the damn thing in some form or all of your madee up exercises are presses and curls.

30 lb dumbbells are fine for some exercises (temporarily) but bench pressing them is gonna be useless in very short order. You need a variety of weights.
