Long time acne combatant here. Don't listen to the retards saying "stay away from meat/dairy/greasy foods". The greasy foods maybe, but the dairy and meat is bullshit, acne, at least for me, is a hormonal response which food effects very little, but things like say, strength training, will effect much more. Benzoyl Peroxide is utter shit. Dries the fuck out of your face and does next to nothing. Same with cleansers and so on, again, at least for me. If you have die hard acne, that has been with you for a while now, say a few months, topical creams in general will do little to help you, and effects take about 2 months to show any progress. Currently, I'm on Akamin (minocycline), an oral medication for acne and other skin shit. So far, 2 weeks down into the treatment and I have to say, things are already looking better. Cost me $5.
Best advice I can offer you; see your doctor, ask for oral medication (not Acutane, try a few alternatives first as mine won't put me on that straight away either) take it religiously, drink plenty of water, shower once a day and avoid soap like a nigger.
All should be well in a month or so. Least, that's what I'm hoping for. Pic related, it's how I hide my acne.
