I'm about 5'8'' or 5'9'' and around 165 lbs, I have muscle that's being hidden by fat.

Should I lose fat before I begin working out for muscle or just both at the same time? I'd like to look like Kratos in about 6 or so months. Possible?

Sure, just jump off a cliff like Kratos in the first game and you'll lose weight, gain muscle and look exactly like him. Seriously.

You should be able to manage a concurrent cardio and strength training program. Also, you can look like Kratos right now with the right makeup; just ask /cgl/

You'll have his body as soon as your mom looks like an airbrushed Kate Moss.

Also, control your dietary intake.

Well, I eat exceptionally healthy and I use to be 190 lbs a few years ago and I dropped down to what I am now. It's more of the lack of time but since summer is rolling around I'll have more exercise/workout time.

it isn't that complicated but the results wont show over night,
eat right
eat multiple meals, helps metabolism
PUSH UPS SIT UPS the usual deal for work outs

GENERALLY, it's easier to gain mass and then diet to lose fat. You may differ.

And you will never look like Kratos.

i bet you find out that what you thought was muscle under there, was in fact actually more fat hidden under your fat

No, it's muscle.

Seriously though, if you can set aside an hour for cardio every day, then that will be most of the battle. A regular strength training program is trivial to maintain once you get into your groove.

5' 8", 165lbs just like you, probably around 10-15% bodyfat.

Unless you focus purely on hypertrophy for the next 4 months and cut the next 2, you probably won't get much better than the pic (though a disproportionate amount of weight is in my legs, so if you're gonna be all chikkn' legged then maybe not).

To come close to Kratos's physique at your height, you'd have to put around 30 lbs of muscle, and as far as I know, the most I've ever heard of is 20 lbs in a year without steroids.
