HEy /fit/ I finaly got over myself and decided to stop being a lazy bastard. I never worked out in my whole life before. I am skinny and weak. For now I a just running 1 hour every day for exercise. Can you recommend me some good workout routines and hints for a starter. I would like to be a little more experienced before embarassing myself at a gym.

Well if you want to gain muscle you need to cut running to every other day eat a high protein diet and weight lift for at least an hr everyday.

start lifting weights, but look for a guide because you won't know what weights to lift

you have to overeat every single day, bust your ass lifting super heavy weights, then stuff your face again till you shit 5 times a day.

repeat that for 5 - 10 years. changing your body isn't as easy as your think

Screw embarrassment, if you really want to get tough and rock a hard workout, then I suggest actually going to the gym to speak to a trainer. There you can get an evaluation done, and given tips on whats best for achieving your goals. Just do it, you'll thank yourself for being gutsy enough to take the first step later.

GET A TRAINER

do not run everyday, you will fuck up your knees. Do it 5 times a week. Man up and lift some weights, you need to work everything, you will not get a six pack by just doing crunches. You will also not get hueg and deformed unless you take steroids.

no. PT certifications are weekend course that teach you dick all. i know because i took one and learned nothing.

if you must have a PT, get a big jacked guy, not some frumpy girl who doesn't know wtf shes talking about.

a better option is just to do rippetoes. google it, theres guides everywhere. its like THE beginner weightliftin gprogram that teaches you all the main lifts and gets your strong and packs on muscle. i did it when i started and it doubled my strength in like 2 months

Thanks for the advices anyone. I am not going to the gym cause I dont have the time. All I have is one hour per day for working out so I would rather do something at home cause the next gym is miles from here.
