So ive been going to the gym for about 2-3months now. and i still dont have an exercise "plan". is this bad? the only schedule i follow is monday thru friday switching between cardio and weight training. Also, on weight training days i spend most of my time on the machines rather then freeweights. is this terrible?

any comments or suggestions on what type of excersises to do or schedules would be great, Also im very slender with a fairly low bf %

ummmmm.... what exactly are you doing then? Wandering around aimlessly and doing the occassional machine session?

get rippetoe's starting strength, google compound exercises, and build up a workout plan around those exercises.
