I don't understand how to eat more, /fit/, honestly. I'm that person that was here a few days ago, asking if I'd gain weight or something while in D.C. I'm back, and I actually lost nearly 3 lb some how. But, on the last day, I really noticed that despite eating three nice meals, I am still way under the amount of calories I should eat in a day.

At breakfast, I ate a veggie omelet with wheat toast. I didn't finish the entire omelet because I ran out of bread to eat it with. I'd estimate it was about 250 calories. For lunch, I ate a grilled chicken sandwich from some sandwich place from a small food court at Mt. Vernon at Washington's place. I'd estimate it to be no more than 400 calories. And for dinner, before we left, I was at some mall with my group, where I ate a turkey breast sub at Subway, which is 280 calories according to Subway's website. I was completely full after each meal, so I wasn't really feeling starved at all. I actually wasn't even that hungry for the last few bites of the sub, but I ate it anyway. Now, how do I eat more? I can't really force the food down, but apparently I'm in starvation mode, and have been so for a while now. I'm going to a nutritionist on Monday, but I thought I'd ask you guys anyway.

Eat more.

Not hard, just do mind over matter and try not to puke.

Subway is incredibly misleading. They do not include any sauces/toppings in their calorie estimate. So if you had sweet onion sauce, chipotle, and mayo on that sandwich of yours, you could easily have eaten 400+ calories.

1. Make/buy food.
2. Bring food to mouth and insert.
3. Chew thoroughly.
4. Swallow.
5. Repeat from 2 until finished with meal.

Then why are you having problems now?

Incidentally; I've put 100lbs on my squat NOT doing it.

Because I can't gain more mass. Because I can't eat more.

If i don't do it i get weaker.

You're right, keep doing what you're doing, just don't come back here when you can't get past your plateau and you don't know why.

There's only one thing worse than a dumbass and that's an arrogant dumbass.

I did stop doing it. I lost the gains I made in a month. Then I went back to it and they came back.

I'm pretty sure my problem is my caloric intake.

protip: as long as you're not eating a ridiculously low number of calories, your body only cares that it has food in it. if you're eating often enough, you will not go into starvation mode. just eat like you do, then add in maybe an apple or some nuts strategically so that you're eating every 2 hours. and DRINK!
