Hey /fit/ I just went to shops to buy my protein powder and they had some creatine bars discounted to 2 bucks so a grabbed a few to try them out, here are the stats and some sort of conclusion on them. (nicked from a site)

It says it has 2 grams of creatine in it.

Comment: Musashi Creatine Bar is not unpleasant tasting, however the texture is dry and chewy. A stronger apricot flavour would enhance this bars palatability. With close to 38g of carbohydrate and 14.5g protein and only 2.6g fat per bar, the Musashi Creatine bar would be considered a high carbohydrate, high protein low fat supplement. Each bar also contains 2g of creatine monohydrate. The manufacturers recommend that 1-2 bars be taken before training. From a practical perspective, it is likely an individual would need to accompany this with fluid due to its dry texture. The product does not require refrigeration.

Now my question to you guys is before my workout should I chomp down one of these guys with my protein shake and how long before my workout?

Also how many protein shakes should I be having a day at the moment i'm having 1 before workout and one after my workout.

What is /fit/'s opinion on creatine should I even be anywhere near this shit or should of I started along time ago?

I had a jar of the EXACT same thing. Musashi is okay, has a lot of other good shit in it too, and when blended with milk it doesn't taste that bad.

I would say, lose the bars. Contrary to popular belief around here, protein isn't everything. You need to get your god damn FIBRE too! Otherwise enjoy your brick shitting.

Yeah thats the stuff I just bought tonight. also I get my fibre in cerial, i've never had a problem with shitting bricks
