Obviously not as simple as 'zero calorie food', but it's one example of how you can eat regularly and still starve, even to the point of death.
There are plenty of things you could ingest, and digest, that provide so few calories you would be forced to eat a much larger volume of them in order to sustain life, when compared to the volume ingested in a more varied diet, with celery as one example. Not very satisfying, though.
