Let's take a poll, /fit/.

How many of you have this?

I guess I do.

I lol'd hard. DSPS? Really? It kinda sounds like a made up "disease" just to justify your own laziness and seem "special".
For me it doesn't matter when to sleep. Of course "by default" I go to sleep at midnight and get up at 7 AM, but really, I travel so much that "midnight" and "7 AM" seem VERY loose terms to me...

tl dr; stop being a pussy and set an alarm clock

Midnight is a little early for being sleepy, you know?

And waking up at 10AM is a bit late, you know.

That's like, six hours of sleep. Seems a little early to me.

For me my default sleep time is around 3am-12pm.

And it's been that way since I was a kid. Believe me I've tried to fix it. But Nothing. Works. I've used sleeping pills, melatonin, mediation, I've sworn off caffeine entirely, I've gone for 48 hours straight without an ounce of sleep and I STILL cannot change my sleeping pattern.

8 hours is the healthy minimum for sleep
computer screens reset your circadian rhythm so you are not tired
that is all

you need to give your system a shock
don't go to sleep one morning, or late night, whenever you go to sleep. stay awake the whole night and day, use caffeine if you need to. then, around 10 or 11pm, drink a bunch of booze until you're tired and go to sleep. then, wake up at the right time, use caffeine to stay awake, and repeat a few times.

alternately, actually working all day will make you tired by the evening.

11pm for me. I can't get to sleep before then, but anytime after that point I feel incredibly tired.
It's not DSPS, but it's a problem, because I have sleep apnea and have to wake up at 6:30am and I never get enough sleep.

It's 5:30am and I'm juuuust about getting sleepy. Probably go to bed around 8. Wake up at 4 or 5. Et cetera ad infinitum.

Do I have a disease? I doubt it, but I don't have an alarm clock either.

mine to
i can shift it if i need to (work, school, ..), but it shifts back to 0300 - 1200 sooner or later
but whatever, it doesn't bother me

I cant get to sleep until around 3:30-4 am. College was a nightmare for me when I had early classes. I would often smoke weed to just get to bed early.
