I understand that a dumbbell bars are straight which I use for bench pressing but for curling the bar is bendy, what is the significance of this?Just something that puzzles me
different center of gravity, stress on a different part of the arm/wrist
would it be counter productive if I used a dumbbell bar for curling?
you can also curl with flat bars, just tend to hurt alot more in your forearms
Bended bars are for more ergonomic grip, so it doesn't hurt your forearms.
but i want my arms to hurt>>468753
focuses on different parts of the bicep, and makes grip easier for other exercises
thanks for the good responses /fit/izens
