does /b/ know any way of training latissimus without a pull-up bar? :/
>> Anonymous
Dunno. I guess you should ask /b/.

Dumbbell rows. Or a rowing "machine" if you have access to that. Some thing attached to a wire that you pull towards you horizontally.

Try to keep a strict form so that you feel you're working your lats.

pull with your elbow

doing these with an olympic bar will give you great overall back mass. great exercise.

BB, DB rows
pendlay rows
DB pullovers (elbows slightly bent to emphasize lats over pecs)

basically a lot of row variations. if you throw in cables you have even more exercises you can do. This is why I love training my back, there are SO many exercises you can do to keep from getting stagnant

pulling toward your chest works the delts
pulling toward your waist works the lats.

Pulling towards your waist works the delts too. Maybe not as much as pulling towards your chest though

any of those pulling motions will incorporate the rear delts, middle back, and lats. it is the degree to which they are recruited that changes depending upon motion, hand grip, etc.
