Sup /fit/.

What is your experience with chiropractors, massage, and accupunture w.r.t. backaches?

I heard there was a type of massage where someone walks on your back, anyone tried that?

Beard unrelated.

Unless its some hot little asian, noone is standing on my back.

then again I dont have back problems requiring massage, or backsnapping.

Personally, the best improvements I have felt to my back have been by strengthening it: deadlifts and back extensions/similar stuff.

I know where I train martial arts many of the long time students do massage and chiro, so I imagine they are alright. Massage for muscle pain and stiffness, chiro for spinal issues.

I would say to keep in mind though, if your back is weak, any adjustments you get from chiro will be transitory and you won't get much benefit from them. I had originally gone to chiro for a while, but I didn't feel like I got much out of it until I actually started strengthening my back.

I've been to several different chiropractors, and they helped a lot. Neck issues are mostly gone at this point.

I couldn't move my neck at some point.
Went to a chiropractician and he set it right again with some move.
One day later I was back to normal again.
Awesome!
However, this should not be done repeatedly, instead I worked on my back and had never problems in that location again.

Anyone here tried different chair setups, like an aeron or those ball chairs?
