Hey thar /fit/. First time here and since those "post ending in X do Y" posts on /b/ i realized i can't even do 10 push-ups in a row.Any sugestions? (i'm doing it the "right" according to many internet "sources" aka wikipedia links)My height is 179 cm and my weight is 71.9 Kg. 20.4% body fat.Pic related, that retard it's me.
only way to improve your pushups is to keep doing them. you'll slowly increase the number you can do. there is no other way unless you have weights and/or a bench.
Do as many pushups as you can.Stop and rest.Do more push ups.Wait 5 or 10 minutes between sets. How many can you do in an hour? You'll get better.Oh yeah...squats or GTFO
btw. same advice goes for pullups or chinups. cable lat pull downs will not improve your ability to do them. if you can't manage a pullup, jump up and slowly let yourself down. eventually you'll strengthen your lats and back enough that you'll start being able to manage them.
I guess i'll just stop being lazy and do something. Thanks!
What\'s wrong with being a girl? Not everyone is born a male...
>>374689Didn't mean it in a demeaning way, just trying to get the message across. It was still sexist though... Fuck it, there are no girls in the internet anyway :)
Pretty much everybody starts out in this position. The only way to improve is to build up gradually. Try doing 10 a day now, then 12 a day later, then 15 a day, and so forth.
>>374693You already lost. Never apologize to a woman, ever. That's the first rule of /fit/. Watch me as I handle this for you.>>374689Shut your mouth slut.
