FINGER NUMBNESS Anonymous
really need your help /fit/

three weeks ago I carried a bunch of groceries using my fingers

now my left fingers feel numb especially my index finger which feels like when your feet are "asleep"

it's been three weeks already and I'm fucking worried, is this permanent?

christ I can't even open a sauce packet now because of this

What can I do about this??

Your awesomeness is settling in, just wait it off

Well if the first thread you posted up about this brought up no results then I think this may be the same.
Go to a doctor.

>using my fingers

Well your reasoning is understandable but without training and access to your hand the majority of /fit/ would be useless.

probably tore/pulled something, alternate hot and ice. Could be a sprain. If it lasts a couple months go see another doctor. Try not to use them to avoid further aggrivating whatever it is so it can heal.

You had a stroke.

how long do nerves normally heal anyway?
>> WHAT IS THE BLOGTV ROOM URL
General rule is that if it doesn'tt go away within a week, see a doctor

could be a symptom of carpal tunnel. That's the first sign

Three weeks of this, and you haven't seen a doctor yet. Darwin says "Let him die".

It's probably the median nerve.

because I initially thought it was gradually improving

Dude,

If I sit awkwardly, my feet fall asleep and are incredibly hard to get to "wake up" and get rid of the needles.

My fingers do the exact same thing as yours. The exact same fingers.

My chiropractor claims that the nerve that runs to my fingers is getting "resistance" along the way so to speak, in the shoulders or back.
He said to think of it like a hose: The more shit that gets in it's way or kinks it, the less you get out the other end.

tl;dr your back is likely sore, nothing to do with hands

My toes went numb for months after about 3 days of constantly standing, just keep moving them, as long as you can feel a pulse in them should be fine.

>>should be fine.

You know, if you don't mind the numbness.

I young (20)

doubt it's the back, pretty sure it was the groceries because I noticed it immediately after

Dude, may I ask you something?

Can you pinch a piece of paper using your thumb and index finger without having the thumb pressing against it? Just pinch, and if you can't do it correctly, I would infer that you have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

I am a chiropractor. Find ONE! Its your only hope!

When I do the stationary bike my right pinky toe becomes numb. Trips me out, like some nerve in my bootie that leads down to the pinky toe gets pinched. Goes away when I get up though
