/fit/ I'm starting to go running first thing in the morning and every other day doing HIIT. Should I Eat in the morning before i go running or should i wait until after if so what should I eat in the morning before running.

Eat, and eat well, but eat light. I personally eat a piece of peanut butter toast before I go out running in the mornings.

First thing in the morning, your glucose stores are depleted, and your body will go straight to fat and muscle for energy. So if you want to work out first thing in the morning, do it without eating.

You should wait 2 hours or so after you eat before a workout. Otherwise, cramps and poor performance.

After. You'll continue burning calories for awhile after you run so your best bet is to eat after. Plus, if you eat before you take runs, you basically have a good chance of shitting your pants.

So long as you have sufficient energy when you wake up to go running.
