I have this habit of eating late at night, and it got me wondering. What kind of snacks guys eat to keep yourself from binging out when it's late?

It's called "I'm not a fat fuck who thinks he needs to eat CONSTANTLY". You should try it, it's great.

WHAT KIND OF SNACKS KEEP US FROM EATING A LOT? WHAT THE FUCK? JUST DON'T EAT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO EAT. HOO-FUCKING-RAY, I SOLVED THE PROBLEM.

Roasted Peanuts (no salt) from the shell. I enjoy the whole process of opening the peanut. Same for walnuts and almonds. Something about the whole process of cracking the nut makes me eat less.

Also, oatmeal. Carrots help. So do frozen grapes (I'm absofuckinglutely addicted.)

Drink water, it helps make you feel fuller faster. Also, get a solid breakfast full of fiber, it helps balance out your metabolism for the rest of the day.

Thank you.

And water doesn't fill me at all. I still have that craving to eat something solid when I drink water. Ehh.

raw broccoli is good to eat as a snack. It's healthy, slow to eat (so you can't cram it into your mouth), and pretty filling.

Lots of people, especially fat people trying to lose weight, have strong hunger urges and want to eat. Their body is used to eating. At least this person is going to attempt to do it better.

I eat beef jerky, protein shakes, or a protein bar late at night when hungry. I try to make all my snacks (and meals) high protein. Because if its high in protein, odds are its low in fat.

lol, no. not if you're eating whole foods anyway, which are the only foods you should be eating. i would in general be more worried about reducing carbohydrate intake than fats, unless your diet is solely fast food.

I gave up most carbs and eat a lot of fat. Snacking just doesn't happen anymore.

I've read your post several times and can't figure out how it relates to mine.

First, if you're eating late at night, what's your schedule. If you're still eating 2-3 hours prior to bed, then you're technically still within bounds (as long as you keep within a calorie/meal limit). It depends on your schedule.

That being said, like people have said, eat something high in protein. Celery with peanut butter, some beef jerky, hell if you want a sandwich (not a fucking monster mind you). Try not to exceed over 300 ish calories.
