I wish I could do my own routine at the gym, but I can't afford memberships (and the closest gym is a town over :<).
A few years ago, when I was in highschool, I took part in the weight fitness program, where we did circuit routines every other day, and swimming on the remaining days. I didn't see very good results with it.
Even though I worked out every day, and did cardio every day, at the end of it, my body fat percent increased from 11% to 19%, but my weight remained the same (160 lbs). This confused the fuck out of me, and even to this day I don't know how this is possible.
I've seeing results with my in-home exercises, though. Maybe when I can afford a membership, I'd just go for the pool, and maybe treadmills, etc.
