Couple of questions Anonymous
I am in need of help. I know I sound typical, but please, bear with me. I'm 18 years old. I did lots of sports growing up as a kid, but I ate even more. Now, I want to change.

Ok my fellow /fit/s, last summer, I worked out my ass off and dropped 30lbs. However, due to school, sports, etc etc and overall being lazy, I stopped losing weight, but thankfully, haven't gained any back either. I'm currently 203.

I stumbled across this board, and learned quite a few things. Basically, what I want to do, is lose my fat and build muscle. From what I understand, you can't do both at the same time. So right now, I'm planning (starting this monday) to do a "cutting" phase.
Using an online calculator, my body fat % is 16. I don't know how accurate that is, but whatever.

So heres what I did LAST year,
Basically, monday through Friday, I got up in the morning, ran for half an hour on the treadmill. I did some sort of interval, but raising the incline and lowering and increasing the speed too. By the time half an hour passed, I was soaked and the machine said I burned about 400 calories.

Then, right after, I lifted weights. Another half hour. One day, upper body, the next, lower. Biceps, back, tri, chest, etc. calves, thighs, quads, etc etc.

To be honest though, I didn't watch what I ate. All I really stopped was drinking Soda (just water as I do now) and stopped eating sweets. I dont think I lost muscle though, because my bench max and basically max for everything else got a lot bigger.

So now fast forward to now. It's summer again, and I'd like to loose more weight. I'd like to feel comfortable taking my shirt off at a pool or something.

So heres my plan...I've been doing reaserch, through google and by browsing the hell out of these forums...

I was thinking of alternating between my regular cario (the one with the treadmill and the increases in incline and speed) and HIIT. So say, mon is reg, tues is HIIT. I've done more reaserch, and came across a plan that uses the excercise bike and is for 10 mins ( not including warm up and warm down)

Then, I basically think I should keep my current weight lifting routine, but mix it up a bit (by using different machines, different free weights, etc) this plan was given to me by my junior teacher, an Ex Football coach.

I also decided to start a "diet" so to say. Now, I don't plan to give up all fast food, or cakes, or anything like that. Why? Because I'm looking for a lifestyle change, not just a diet. I think that if I were to only eat veggies and fruits, I'd go crazy. So I AM going to have the occasional sweet, but not as I do now.

I'm pretty sure I eat enough fruits. Maybe too much. but I KNOW I don't eat enough veggies.

I've also browsed and found a program called Fitday. Downloaded it and installed it, and basically it told me I should limit my calories to 2500 ~.

So...here are my questions...

1.) Does my above plan seem ok? Or am I doing something horribly wrong?
2.) I used to do my reg cardio everyday. I'm worred that if I do HIIT I'll only be burning ~200 calories, whereas with reg Cardio I used to burn ~400 calories. Should I be worried, or will the added benefits of HIIT outweight the loss of burned calories?

Pic Related; I used to be between 4 and 5. Currently, I'm around 6. I'd be good with 7, but I'd LOVe to be 8.

HALP!

1. as long as you eat below your daily needed caloric intake, combined with exercise, you should be losing atleast 2-3 pounds per week. Just don't eat too little, that's a bad thing
2. experiment, eat the same stuff as you would with regular cardio when doing HIIT for 2 weeks, track your progress, then try regular cardio and eat the same stuff and see if you improved.

Thanks man. Appreciate it very much.

Kinda have the same question of HIIT as well. Anyone?

I don't have the sauce on the pic, but I have another one. It's essentially the same thing though, I guess.

But this one is pretty good as well too.

Naw, I agree with him and I'z no fatty. Look how the asshole slowly decides he no-longer needs to smile as time progresses. He didn't want to be healthy, he wanted to be a douche.

and ended up fucking his sister.

My only recommendation is that I don't like that you did your cardio first, then your weights. do your weights first, use up your glycogen, then go ahead and do your cardio. see if that helps. by the way, it might take a month to see any appreciable difference.

I agree as well. The jovial & playful chubby guy everyone wanted to hang out with deteriorates into a bleak and joyless cuntwaffle.

OP pic has the pictures backwards. His hair gets longer in each one. He went from fit to fatty in 7 months.

Think about it from his perspective... being that fat guy that everyone jokes around with but no girl would touch if her life depended on it.

Fuck everyone else and what they want. Telling him all the time that hes "fine" or "funny, despite his weight"...

Sure everyone likes having him around because he is laid back, but that isn't going to get him laid.

He needed to get his, so he lost weight, and he got it. Good stuff.

he gained the weight, if he lost all that weight in 7 months he would have stretch marks all over his arms and body.
>> Anonymous
>>245248

not to mention that that's 4.3 pounds per week, which is understandable towards the fat end of the spectrum, but nigh impossible towards the skinny end

i'm starting to believe in the "he got fat" theory
>> Anonymous
>>245245
you can still lose fat and get into shape and not become a douche. guy in op's pic did not do that at all.
>> Anonymous
>>245250

well he could've been losing a shitton of weight at the beginning, like 5 or 6 pounds a week, and towards the end he'd be doin 1-2 pounds like the rest of us, and it just averages out to 4.3.

still kinda tough without going catabolic, but it's entirely possible.

OP here,

Thanks for being like, the only one (besides a couple others) with some actual advice, rather than criticizing the picture. Although, I forgot to mention, that before I DID run first then lift, but now I lift first then run. Something about how it's better for you or what not. But yes, I do lift then run. Thanks again.

As for everyone else.....I think he kind of deserves it, no? He worked hard for it.

the picture is from a poster in the bodybuilding.com forums misc section, his name is zab judah or something gay like that
>> Anonymous
>>245254

Damn straight he deserves it.

Also, why does everyone keep calling the guy a douche?

Where the hell is your evidence?

He looks a little smug perhaps... but so would you if you drop a shit load of weight and pulled a fit bitch.

It would be hard not to have a shit eating grin all the time.
>> Anonymous
>>245261

i think that's what we're saying, he doesn't have a shit-eating grin on his face. i would have a shit-eating grin if i got ripped and pulled a fit bitch, i wouldn't be scowling and taking dark myspace pics

I'm going to comment on these pictures.

The OPs set is incredibly misleading.

>>243966

But it's this one that gets to me.

I mean damn, that guy looks like shit. Sucking in obviously isn't helping him look good, but those later pics just look so fucking damn terrible.

That picture is exactly the kind that promts girls to go "ewwww muscle on guys looks gross, i prefer fat to that much muscle".

I'm at the most overweight part of my cycle right now. I might take some pics periodically over the next few months so 4chan can have a new (decent) motivational.

OP,

So can I get some advice rather than criticism from my pic? Next time I promise I'll post a hot chick or something, haha.

I just want to know if my plan is worth it, or if I'm just wasting my time.
Thanks ahead in time.

If you've ever seen him post on BB.com you would know how big of a douche the guy in OP's pic really is. I'm glad he got banned.

Keep telling yourself that, faggot.

You're not only fat, believe it or not, but you're also fugly aswell, ergo, your opinion is void.
