1.) Learn to cook. Really, it isn't hard. You just have to try. If you don't try, you won't learn and you'll always be fat and broke because you spend too much money on fatty take-out.
2.) Buy fruits, vegetables, breads, nuts (just plain nuts, not salted, honey roast or any of that shit), beans and juices. Also, see entry 1.) above and learn to cook rice. With all that, you'll get lots of vitamins, complete proteins, and enough fiber/fat to keep you full and not hungry every twenty minutes.
3.) Yes, biking can help you lose weight. But you need to be going up hills and working pretty hard, not just cruising around town or coasting to your local McDonalds. I have a friend who rode his bike to work every day (30mins one way), and he ended up losing nearly 60 pounds. You can do it.
