Hey /fit/,
So, I've been lifting on and off for a good few years. Anyhow, I've had worries about becoming too bulky. I'm a meso-endomorph so it happens really easily and quickly. I want to become wirey and strong, not bulky and strong. Anyhow, I can't get passed my bench press of 235 pounds and haven't been able to..ever. Tips for getting stronger and not requiring a large amount of mass gain?

TL;DR Want to get stronger without gaining mass.
Pic related, it's me.
Currently 160 lbs. 5'8.

OIC, the classic female response to lifting weights "OMG I DONT WANT TO GET TOO BULKY!"

thinking that 'lifting weights' will make so much muscle, you wont be able to see your watch. GOLDEN, to the point of MEME quality

lol, simply that. lol.

you massive faggot

OP here,
again, have been lifting weights for a while now. I'm somewhat aware of how my body works and it is my experience that I bulk up extremely fast.
It's not just the appearance that bugs me. You feel sluggish and clothes fit awkwardly. It's just uncomfortable.
Also, it is extremely difficult to maintain a decent low calorie intake while lifting heavy because I get so fucking hungry, so weight gain is ridiculous.
