hello /fit/
I have been doing some basic arm workout with a 10 pound dumbbell for a month now (5 sets of 20 reps of curls and 3 reps of some shoulder workout)

I try to do this every other day so I my arms can recover but I haven't been getting sore.
Should I just do this workout everyday since I am not getting sore?
In general, if I am not sore, should I workout even though I did an intense workout the day before?

Thank you /fit/

You're not getting sore because that is a shitty workout. You probably do that workout in your everyday clothes without breaking a sweat, man up faggot.

i did over a thousand reps of that when i was 12, which was a VERY long time ago.

More than your workout not being up to /fit/'s high standards, the problem is you need to increase resistance. It sounds like you started too small to begin with, and you haven't increased over a months time. Add more weight, buy a 20-25 pound dumbbell and do your routine with that if you must

you ever think maybe OP is a girl? 10lbs dumbbell might just be right for her.

To answer your other questions, it generally isn't a good idea to work out twice even if you aren't sore. Soreness isn't really a specific indicator of how good of a workout it was.

But I believe recovery time on arms is higher than anywhere else on the body so if you feel like you can go back to back then go for it. Still I have to question why you would want to go back to back? It sounds like you aren't getting the results you want with the weights you are using, doing a daily workout plan won't really change that.
