sup /fit/. I was considering doing some long term training for a career in acrobatics. Only problem is I have a hard time with motivation. I end up playing the vidya instead. But I'm dead serious on wanted to do this. What does anon do to keep training sessions going longer? Its just basic stuff at the moment like cardio. And a workout partner isn't really doable. I'm from /v/ so i have no friends ;_;

Also this is the place I'm training at the moment. Its pretty damn rough.

Any ideas would be great

i have few friends, and none of them are serious about training. it's called waking up every morning and deciding what the fuck you want to do with your life. if you want to become a loser keep playing video games, if you want to actually become something and achieve your dream then take action and responsibility for them.

In the long run, nobody but yourself can motivate you, sure you can get a coach but only you know how far and how long you can go mentally.

Do a barrel roll. I mean, it's gymnastics, right? Sorry :|
>Only problem is I have a hard time with motivation

Does not compute.

Take a piece of paper.

Make a schedule. Put exercise before vidya.

DO NOT FUCKING ALLOW YOURSELF TO PLAY VIDYA BEFORE EXERCISE. Vidya is no longer there to pass the time. Vidya is now your reward. Do not reward yourself if you do not deserve it.

OP here

>Sounds like sum real /b/ shit there.

I totally understand what you mean. It sounds terribly bad i know. I was just curious what normal people do during workout sessions thats all. I'm fairly new to it and not ashamed to say its hard to stay focused at times. I'm not looking for anon to motivate me, I'm more looking for a general idea of what everyone else does.

Could you possibly be more specific on that? Like what would you do as a starter? How often a day to work out?

It depends. What are you doing now and how often, and what are your specific goals? Are you just trying to get your heart healthy and gain stamina, or do you want to lose fat, bulk up, or both? Also, how's your diet?

Sorry if any of that is explained in the youtube video you posted, I can't view it here.

OP, if you seek to be srs bsnss in anything, seek people who take it also srs bsnss. This means you need to join a gym/school that will train you to your full potential. To be the best, you have to learn from the best. When you've exhausted that school/coach/gym's resources/usefullness, move on to the the next better place.

My diet is perfectly fine. I don't eat fast food really ever. Just mostly home cooked stuff. Usually all the stuff they suggest. Fruits, pasta, salads, wheat bread, brown rice. I'm not a fat ass, if anything I'm actually a skinny guy with an insane metabolism. And don't worry about the youtube vid, its just kinda a promo for the gym.

Well thats the problem. I DID join a gym. I made a complete ass outta myself since i lacked the basic understanding of gymnastics. So i wanna workout and practice on my own. Then return when i can really do this. But its hard to keep going for long periods of times. I'm thinking i just need somethin to take my mind off the training or maybe like a better idea for a routine. Not very good at organizing you see.

When I started training in X I didn't know shit about X. What's your point? Why did you quit?

Moar protein.

Oh no no. Don't get the wrong idea. I suppose its a little harder to understand unless you were there. The way it works there is that they work on the basics first (handstands, walking on hands, cartwheels, etc etc) and move up to more advance stuff (wall flips, wall running, etc). Apparently i can't be taught the more advance stuff till i can nail the basics. Which is totally understandable. But it still stands its all stuff i can't do. Everyone there has been attending for years so its all easy. Its was just a bit intimidating i guess. So i wanna get my body in shape and train up solo for a bit then head back. What type of foods with protein would be fine. I assume a greasy ass burger is out the question. Isn't there like some healthy beans or something I can eat for that?

Animal protein is best. Whey protein, casein, all good.

Burgers are okay. It depends on your diet and how it fits into it.

go to beaskskills.com. Go to tutorials and learn the shit you need to know. The biggest factor for a lot of these moves is core strength. This doesn't just mean abs, it means back-- spinal erectors, etc.

Lots of ab work, lots of back extensions, good mornings, Glut ham raises, reverse hyperextensions, etc etc
