Dear /fit/,considering taking creatine supplements for the first time. I plan to take it for two months and then stop as I am only '5.4 and already have big biceps and what not.I was wondering if doing this will affect my growth, I'm 17 years-old so I still have a little ways to go, I want to build up more but I DON'T want to be shorter than I should be.
creatine can kill your liver
How would it affect your growth exactly? What do you think is in creatine that would do that? Please read up:http://www.creatine-monohydrate.org
>>386071I had a growth doctor for a short time, I think he said something about rapidly building muscle mass can invariably affect your growth, but I don't know.
You won't gain muscle THAT fast unless you're on steroids... but if you are that concerned you could always ask your doctor specifically about creatine I guess.
Last question, I'm going to the drug store today, is there anything better than creatine that does the same thing or is this pretty much the way to go?
Just get plain old creatine monohydrate. Though creatine with added dextrose isn't bad, you usually get a ton of other stuff added in as well = more moneyz.
Don't use creatine, it's a highly illegal substance and highly dangerous as wellit really fucks with your hormone system, makes your bones weaker, bloats you up with waterit gave me gynecomastia(bitch tits) >_<
>>386146That happened to me too, instead I took Steriods I bought from some chinese dude and now I'm buff. Creatine is for faggots.
