I want to do some RUNNING tomorrow...
are 30 minutes enough for the first times?

should be fine
keep the pace nice and light.
Stretch AFTERWARDS, not before. Stretching before running makes you looser and more likely to injure yourself. And for Desu's sake, if your joints hurt after light running try swimming/ellipticals to strengthen 'em.

In related news I'm a 6' 3" 223lb flabbo who ran 3 miles last night (45mins, bleh). My muscles hurt like a bitch, but since I did the above I'm fine. I'm running again tonight. Running ftw.

If it's your first time, you may not be able to do 30 minutes. Do get discouraged though; run as far as you can, and then walk until you catch your breath again, and then run some more. Rinse, repeat. It shouldn't take too many days before you can run a significant length without becoming too winded to continue.

Also, this is insanely bad advice. Always stretch before and after any exercise. It may behoove you to jog in place for two minutes before your preliminary stretching though, but I recommend that in all situations anyways.

Definitely! Stretching prevents injuries, it doesn't cause them.

If this is your first time running, try running for five minutes, then walking five, running five, walking five etc. etc. It'll break your legs into it easier.

STRETCHING IS FOR FAGGOTS, WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME SOMEONE WHO WAS MUGGING YOU SAID OH WAIT LET ME STOP FOR A SECOND AND LET YOU STRETCH. IF YOU NEED TO STRETCH BEFORE YOU CAN USE YOUR MUSCLES THEY ARE USELESS.
