i dont usually come here, but im trying to put on some weight, im about 5'10, 160-165lbs. the problem is i have some stomach problems, ulcerative colitis, minor now, just flare ups when i eat the wrong thing..thus the fluctuating weight.
so most weight gain powders/liquids usually fuck my guts up, is there anything else i can take? also what sort of diet do you suggest? it seems i always just break even on weight, id be happy at 175-180.

I have morbus crohn and exactly the same problem you have.
I just tried out what works and what not.
Things I can eat: Whey protein, milk, buttermilk, soy milk, peanut butter, steak, tuna.
For breakfast I mix oats with two spoons of whey and soy milk for example.
Lunch is steak or fish, dinner fish usually.
Between bananas, apples, whatever.

I might not have emphasized it enough, but fish is king for people like us. If everything else fails eat fish. Milk rules too and peanut butter is condensed energy.

Another thing that came to mind: Often spices are more dangerous than the meal itself. I react very badly to some sorts of seasoning.
