Alright /fit/. I'm going to start making a more detailed exercise plan. So far I've been doing pushups three days a week. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. (Following the 100 pushups website) Doing that little routine has put me into the habit of regularly doing the exercise. Now I want to add to it one exercise at a time until I'm doing a full body workout. I will have to start out with bodyweight exercises. I WILL start lifting weights, I lack knowledge in this area, to start I'm going to use bodyweight.

TO THE POINT! The exercises I am considering are:
(pushups of course), burpees, dips using two chairs, crunches, bicycle crunches, pullups, squats, AND (after further research) some yoga for stretching.

Could /fit/ kindly critique the exercises I'm considering? What am I missing? What should I leave out?

P.S.
I am 5'9"
116-117 lbs (slowly gaining, I don't need diet advice, I know all about that)
GOALS: functional fitness, functional strength, better appearance, increased confidence, knowledge through experience so I can help my relatives/friends get fit.

Thank you Anonymous.
>be aware of is how your body will become "used" to exercises
Could you elaborate/provide me with a link/official term?
>also, dont neglect cardio
I've fallen out of the habit of walking a lot. I'll start it up again. I love hiking, and I am by accessible beautiful hiking trails.

stuff like that, not really necessary in the begining, but after a while it can make a difference
also, i would suggest looking into complex/compound exercises, as they provide the most benefit. also check out static workouts, which can offer a lot of benefit too.
but either way, its a great start. just keep too it.

one last thing, i know you said you dont need diet advice but i would suggest running through this website
worldshealthiestfoods.com

its amazing in its nutritional info and would be good to incorporate it. it also has a lot of recipes which i think helps because its always hard, at least for me, to think up ways to add certain foods without eating the same thing all the time.
