hey /fit/
i do lifting and bodyweight exercises 3-4 times a week and ive gained quite some muscle. i still want to improve in another category though, balance and movement. nothing too much like free-running but i feel that ive lost flexiblity and quickness after i quit martial arts (right b4 blackbelt, supid i know). i cant go back to the dojo, costs too much and it interferes with my other workouts. halp /fit/

maybe i should buy a heavybag...

Try doing your forms and such by yourself. Better yet, if you did judo at all, take walks down dark alleys at night.

Srsly though, If you belong to a gym, there might be a cheap yoga class available. Or buy a DVD.

If you want flexibility, just stretch, it's that easy.

If you want quickness and movement, do agility drills. Speed ladders, hill sprints, plyometrics, the list goes on.

If you want to keep practicing fighting, then buy a heavy bag. If you really don't need it for any other purpose, it will probably just be a big bulky object for you to spend money on.
