Hi /fit/

I was wondering. I am training to do a 3 mile run in under 24 minutes. I can run 1 mile now and I have to acomplish this in 3 month.

Is this possible if I try it 3 times a week with the other days swimming or biking?

ps. when I do press ups I do alot and I really ache the day after. Would this make me improve alot or am I doing nothing great?

Well, if you're training to do a 3 mile run fast, I would run three miles as fast as I could.
