Hey /fit/,

I just made broiled skinless chicken breast with steamed veggies consisting of mushrooms, carrots, and spinach. The only seasonings I used were pepper and some Italian herbs on the chicken.

This was my first time making chicken, and it came out pretty bland. Yesterday I made steamed spinach, and I sprinkled salt on it at the end, and it was DELICIOUS. Today I didn't use any salt though, because I don't want to ingest too much sodium, and the veggies came out pretty bland too.

So /fit/, how can I make my chicken and veggies tasty without significantly increasing calories or making it less healthy? How do you make your chicken and veggies?

This'll seem like a cop out, but I just add puddles of hotsauce to everything I eat.

Yeah I considered eating it with sriracha, but I imagine I'd get pretty sick of that after a while too.

if theyre fresh veggies, its ok to put a little salt on them. just stay away from perserved food with a lot of sodium.

I put a mix of herbs and spices onto my chicken.

No, seriously. Cilantro, rosemary, thyme, and a dash of vinegar will put flavor into it.

Materials and prep time are nothing, it's the cooking time that gets you with baking.

Materials: Chicken, can of stuff, dish, foil
Prep: Put shit in dish, cover, cook it
Time: 30-45 minutes :(

That stuff's supposed to be bitter.

Oregano tricks my buds into thinking it's salt

Isn't potassium chloride what they use for capital punishment via lethal injection?

Yeah, broiling only takes 15 minutes, and it was still pretty moist.. though I guess I don't have much to compare against right now.
