Hey /fit/,

I need to gain weight so I recently started drinking a tall glass of protein mix everyday.

I usually mix it with banana's, ice cream, and milk.

How long should it take to gain a decent amount of weight? I have very high/fast metabolism.

That's not too skinny for your height

If you really want to gain weight quickly, eat a combination of large amounts of high protein/high carb foods and start a beginner's strength training program. Stronglifts 5x5 is a good one.

Eat lots of nuts or seeds. Any you want, as much as you want. I personally enjoy peanuts, sunflower seeds, walnuts, almonds, and other shit.

If you're too lazy to eat the nuts, go to a store and ask for a peanut butter called "Naturally More". I get jars of them for $2.66 at Wal-Mart. It's the best peanut butter around, just buy a lot and eat a lot of it. Try a container a day on top of what you already eat.
