/fit/, I'm psyched and ready. I squatted 25x 195lbs on friday and today I'm going for 200. If you don't hear from me within a couple hours then one of my gluts ripped off the bone and the resulting implosion drove my shattered hip up through my rib cage, killing me in about a minute of complete agony.I started 3 months ago at ~100lbs with Starting Strength. My goal is 250lbs. If I can do it with a desk job and no money, so can you. Stop being a whiny little bitch and hit the weights already.Wish me luck! (yea yeah, break a leg...)

>>189293It was 5x5. I succeeded but just barely. I should have had more than 6 hours sleep the night before and I was yawning between sets. Also now there's a subdermal, bruise-like sensation near my left elbow. wtf.I guess 200 is "respectable" because after I was done a bunch of the powerlifters started offering to spot me and giving me good advice on improving technique whereas before they didn't acknowledge my existence.To anyone else out there thinking about getting started, just go already. I feel a sense of accomplishment today.
