Dear /fit/,

I've recently been trying to reduce my carbs. Nothing as drastic as a ketogenic diet, just trying to reduce my calories without reducing my food volume.

I've discovered a great recipe. It takes 2-3 minutes to prepare.

Chop a chicken breast into small pieces.
Pour some chicken/vegetable broth into a pot and heat.
Pour in a bit of soy sauce and half a teaspoon of miso (I prefer red miso), some black pepper and some cayenne pepper if you like spicy.

That's the easy way to make it, and how I usually eat it. You can make it as elaborate as you want, you can chop up some green onions, throw in some wakame, other diced vegetables, etc. But that's a lot of effort. When you eat 5 meals a day, you need simple.

I use reduced sodium versions of the broth and soy sauce. I do two hours of cardio daily anyway, so I'm not really worried about holding water XD

Just be careful if your family has any history of high blood pressure.
