sup /fit/.

health question - I have made a sad lifetime of ignoring my vegetable requirements. hear me? a LIFETIME. I am 18. Ever since I can remember (lets just say since I was 6) I avoided eating my vegetables like rape. Very, very, very rarely, I will sneak the occasional green in here or there (usually destroyed in the process of having said greens come with chinese food/ lettuce on tacos). anyways,

what kind of shit can I look forward to in my life from now on? I sincerely, sincerely want to change my ways, since lately I've been up night and day conjuring myself images of the horrible health predicaments ahead of me. and I go jogging every morning (mind you, its not much, a 9-minute wonder that leaves me feeling like shit and walking the rest) , and lately my lower legs have been stiffening up like a mother, almost to the point of excruciating pain after I come home. this went on for three days before I just started DDR in the mornings until I am drenched in sweat.

If it matters, I drink buttfucks of sunny delight during this ddr session, and when I ran I took an entire sports bottle full of drinking water.

but i digress.
tl;dr, I never ate my veggies, i'm 18, what lies ahead of me health-wise, and is it far too late to change my ways for the better?

upon rereading that, I realize there are probably better words to describe my 18 years other than LIFETIME.

oh well.

Never too late to change.

Meat should be eaten, but the average person (especially over here in the US) eat much more than required.

How is your stool and anus. Must be hard and swollen from the lack of fiber, huh?

Also, your large intestines can develop little "bubbles" due to the lack of fiber that moves stool along. The stool can stick in there and stay there for a while - a good candidate for colon cancer.

My stool comes in every variety and my anus is not something I go probing in or get inspected regularly. And I eat this one cereal that says "excellent source of fiber" (though i eat it just because it tastes good, i wasn't genuinely concerned about my fiber intake).

What is so imporant about vegetables? If you can get the vitamins and fiber from somewhere else, why eat them?

eating a bunch of different things is better for your body, than eating the exact same meal 5 times a day.

processed food has a lot of additives you dont need.

You can't get the phytochemicals anywhere else, and they fill you up for so little calories. I always giggle when I hear people complain about being hungry when they are trying to lose weight. You can sit down and eat all the fresh spinach you possibly can, literally gorging on the stuff and I doubt it will break 150 calories.
