In all seriousness, I'd like to know. I was once a fatass but now I have a..semi-well defined six pack, but I still have these motherfucking fatty scars.

Time. They fade.

If you really want to, go see a dermatologist. They do have creams that can reduce the appearance of stretch marks, but by how much depends on how bad they are.

I think trilastin is the best cream on the market for them but it's also pretty expensive, exfoliating may help
>cocoa butter with vitamin e
Is a fairly effective cheap way too, if your really strapped for cash some people have reported success with cooking oil, seriously.
In the vast majority of cases the only thing to remove stretch marks without laser surgery is time (5-8 years depending on the serverity), every thing else speeds up the rate at which they fade

Mine faded after about 4 years, mine was like that only not up so high. Lose a bit of weight and keep it there is my recomendation; they will go away with time and youll forget all about em :)

microdermabrasion fixes all. Microdermabrasion (often referred to as Microderm) is a cosmetic procedure popular in day spas, doctors' practices, and medical spas in which the stratum corneum (dead outermost surface of the skin) is partially or completely removed by light abrasion. Different methods include mechanical abrasion from jets of zinc oxide or aluminum oxide crystals, fine organic particles, or a roughened surface. Particles are removed off through the wand/handpiece through which the abrasive particles come [1] The term dermabrasion itself refers to the more severe medical procedure carried out under general or light anesthesia.

Microdermabrasion is used to remove sun-damaged skin and to remove or lessen scars and dark spots on the skin. The procedure is not very painful and requires no anaesthetic. Microdermabrasion can be used medically for scar removal when the scar is raised above the surrounding skin, but is less effective with sunken scars. There is very little, if any, evidence that microdermabrasion stimulates collagen formation. Microdermabrasion can also be used for treatment of acne, but must be repeated periodically to be effective. Microdermabrasion should not be used on patients who have taken the medication Accutane (Isotretinion) in the previous twelve months.

cocoa butter/vitamin E scar serum works for me. It's fragrance free (i'm allergic) so that's a big plus.

I am in a similar boat as you OP, used to be fat, now i'm not.

COCOA BUTTER.

God you people are stupid. Once you have stretch marks, you've got them for life. FOR LIFE, MOTHERFUCKERS. They'll only fade to a lighter color with time.

- Cocoa butter won't do shit. If it really made stretch marks go away, everybody would know about it/use it.

- Microdermabrasion might help a little bit, but it won't make them go away altogether.

Yeah, they don't totally go away, but 90% of the time they fade so much that you need to look at them with a magnifying glass under a giant spotlight to notice them. Tanning helps A LOT to make them nigh-invisible, you can see them much easier with pale skin.

Also, speedy muscle gains cause stretch marks just the same as fat gains. So does pregnancy. Tons of people have these.

Just a guess, but because 70% of women and 40% of men get them?

Stretch marks are also called "Scars of war". So be proud! don't hide it.

Are you fucking retarded? Stretch marks are scar tissue that rips right down into the subcutaneous layer. The red bits in OP pic are blood filling up the torn skin.

Dermabrasion will NOT fix scar tissue, no matter what you are led to believe.

THEY'RE SCARS. DEAL WITH IT.

Tattoos cover stretch marks beautifully.

Except tattoos aren't fucking beautiful. Plus, like most scars, stretch marks cause raised or dented skin, so you can still tell.

stretch marks suck. i have them on the sides of my waist from putting on weight and now in getting them on my upper arms from doing weights! gurrr. is there any way to prevent them in the first place?

Don't gain weight or muscle quickly, keep skin supple with a body lotion (just use johnsons' baby lotion or generic sorbolene cream).

Get gains slowly.

I have the exact same problem. I was a fatty mc fat fat, and then I was a thin fag. Then I became a bulky fag.
