No-one on this site is doing HIIT, they might think they are, but they aren't. Theyre doing IT, and you, shouldnt even think about HIIT, HIIT is for marathonners/atlethes that can run a steady pace for 3+hours, looking to step their game up. Having said that, good job first of all, and you should be fine really, you might wanna try doing it at different times on a day, or your body will get used to it and burn less calories, i'd suggest starting to run when you reach 200 pounds, its one of the most simple and best cardio exersizes out there, AND, for me, after doing it once, it wasnt scary anymore ( going outside, city) and actually helped boosting my self-esteem.
