Does drinking a LOT of water(4L a day) help like dissolving fat and carbs and stuff?

Is drinking this much good for you, what are the benefits?

I don't know how healthy drinking shit-tons of water is, but I personally stick to about 1 tall cold glass every two hours or so.

I drink just around 3L a day without having to force any down, just find what's natural for you taking into consideration what you eat, when, your training habits, your climate, etc.

I have a scale to measure my water intake. If my piss is yellow, I don't have enough water and I go drink some. If my piss is more clear, then I assume I am properly hydrated.

Correct. If your urine is not clear and copious you are not drinking enough water. However you need to spread out drinking water over the whole day. If you find yourself pissing rarely and when you do it is bright yellow or even tinted to brown you definitely need to drink more water. If you start drinking the right amount of water you will feel better and having the right amount of water will help you loose weight. Extra water won't hurt but it won't help that much either besides not making you hungry so you eat less.

If you're gonna drink a lot of any water make sure its that smartwater with electrolytes, or make your own electrolyte mix, althought it might not taste as good as smartwater.

Forgot to mention that I>>155537, am not the OP and already follow that exact advice. I don't even need to worry about losing weight since I'm actually underweight, at 140 lbs and 6'1"
