Cardio results Anonymous

I'm going to do alot of cardio, after doing crunches and situps etc ive realised my ab's wont show until i lower my body fat, ATM you can sorta see the 6 pack when i tence the muscles, but untenced it just goe's back to normal. admitedly i do have a little extra fat on me but nothing too bad that people think im fat, How long will it take for me too see some results? I was doing cardio last night at the gym, i kept my heartrate at around 160 for about 20 mins. .. so yes how long will it take for me to see some results? and also whats a good target heartrate to aim for?

I think if you measure the number of calories you burn instead of your heart rate it will be more accurate and easier to judge your progress. Also 20 minutes isnt enough, do at least half an hour but work your way up from 20 minutes slowly. 500 calories is a good target to aim for but keep increasing it when you reach 500. lowering bodyfat is also about diet so look up an abs diet or some shit and go by that. if not just eat low fat, a lot of lean meats and vegetables, might want to look into protien shakes as well

the food i mainly eat is like, pastry based, chips, and sandwiches, chips only on occasion thought. I wouldnt particularly say my calorie intake was huge, i tend not to eat through out the day and then eat on a night
