Hey /fit/. Serious question. So I'm losing weight, and so far so good. From 230 and now 218, lost approx. 12 lbs in 12 weeks. Alternating HIIT/strength training days, eating well, drinking lots of water, doing great. However, I hate eating fruits... but I'm a big veggie lover. For the past 12 weeks for my weight loss journey, I've been just trying to shove fruit down my mouth and downing water as well just to get the taste out of my mouth... I'd have an apple, a peach, a banana, and a tomatoe spread throughout the day. However, fruits are really annoying me. As a person who is trying to lose some weight (trying to get to 180) but eats a lot of a variety of vegetables, are fruits truly ESSENTIAL for my weight loss and adding muscle to my frame? I feel like I'm getting all the fiber/vitamins/some protein/minerals/etc in my vegetables, and I'll take a Centrum multivitamin once a week, so I feel like I skip on the fruits. Comments please.
