So what's the recommended division of fat/protein/carb for a cut diet?

theres 2. 40/30/30 and 60/30/10. carbs most, protiens second most, and fats least. plus you want a diet to have HDL instead of LDL.

i believe the best diet in general is 50/25/25 fat/protein/carbs, but for cutting I have no idea but I believe the best would include more fat just because the more fat you give your body the less it will store and also eating a lot of carbs makes you retain water weight like nothing else

I've been going with 40/40/20, but I'm not too strict with carbs, so it's often more like 50/30/20.

It depends on what you're doing as far as training. From what I understand, the more intense your exercises, the greater your need for protein.

I admit I don't know much about this though.

60/35/5

With the 5% of carbs only from fibrous veggies. No sugars nor starches. That means no grains. No potatoes. No fruits. No legumes.

No fucking oats. In b4 oat fucking.

If you want to take it hardcore, 15/85/0, *and* about 800 cals/day. Combine it with intermittent fasting.

If you can somehow manage to maintain a ratio, that's awesome, but I don't see how you do that over 5-6 meals a day.
