So I read up a lot on proper squat form and one thing that keeps coming up again and again is something called "hip drive" which I don't really understand. I am 152lb and can squat 213 but I have trouble at the bottom of the squat ( I go all the way ) and I think I am missing this hip drive and it's holding me back from further progress.

Can someone explain how to work on it and what it feels like.

There is no real drive or pop with slow grinding moves like the squat (if you're under heavy weight) essentially you're looking for a knee jump (google it).

the hip thing is liek this. look at a picture or yourself doing the squat with no weight. when your down at the bottom your hips are pushed back behind the rest of you, instead of thinking pushing UP, think push you hips back between your head and your feet. or just hump the fuck out of the air infront of you, this will help cause the knee jump too.
