Do I need to get protein from multiple sources, or can I just rely on one food for my protein intake? For example, could I just inhale enough whey protein powder (or lentils or hemp or whatever) every day and not worry about protein?

Whey is a complete protein, so you're good. Doesn't matter where you get it from, it's just pretty miserable living off protein shakes.

no, use different sources. some sources have better benifits than others for example beans might have more dietary fiber than whey and red meat probably has more iron than both whey and beans

inhale meaning loosely "to consume"

that doesn't affect protein though, if that's all we're looking at, assuming they've already got their other nutritional needs worked out.

meaning loosely "To consumer in large quantities, quickly."

assuming youre working out

you want to down about 50 grams of whey right after workout cuz it metabolizes within 30 minutes

take caesin protein at bed cuz it digests much slower
