soup /fit/
fatass here I recently started exercising about 2 weeks ago. I usually like to work out in the morning since it's the only time I have during the day. The thing I've noticed is I can get weary afterwards and can often last for the next few hours even after I've eaten breakfast. Is there anyway of avoiding this or am I better off eating breakfast and then working out later?

Are you eating enough for breakfast? And are you drinking enough water?

It usually consists of eggs, tea, and oatmeal. I drink a bottle before each workout and then 4-5 the rest of the day.

Srsly what? Is your life so empty and pathetic that you have nothing better to do than post shitty little unconstructive grammatically incorrect insults here? Get the fuck off.

OP - To begin with, if it's the first time you have exercised in your life then expect to be tired in the beginning! Many people say the gym leaves them feeling invigorated but I have found this is not true for newcomers. What sort of exercise are you doing?

Secondly, the debate about eating before or after exercise will rage on until the end of time. I can only advise you try both and see what works for you. Next time, perhaps try a banana and plenty of water before and during your workout.

personally if I eat anthing within 2-3 hours of going for a run I only get about half a mile before stomach cramps stop me.
