Sup /fit/ I have been swimming for the last 4 months (1 hour daily) .I have lost a lot of weight and I feel excellent but I need more muscle. I'm a total n00b so can you suggest any good weight lift routines or excercises that complement swimming???

Phelps is always related.

You need to eat three fried egg sandwiches a day.

After following our preseason lifting program for a couple months; I stopped lifting everyday and started swimming and rock climbing. I would lift mon, wed, fri and swim and climb the other days both for an hour. The swimming and climbing gave me cardio and lean muscle while the lifting kept me strong. Went into the season in the best shape i've ever been in.

I would do it on alternate days or before you swim if you have to do it on the same day

Wrong guy is wrong. Swimming is one of the best exercises you can do in terms of cardio, not muscle building. I don't swim, but I'd imagine you'd want to work your whole body. Squats, pec fly, seated row, bench, and lat pulldown would be good for starters.

It's funny because with swimming you're building a strong chest, deltoids, legs and arms.
