Hey /fit/, I've got a problem. After years of being a dumbass and totally yo-yo dieting, my metabolism is in the shitter. I don't eat much more than is recommended, (about 1200-1500 calories on any given day), and trying to get in an hour of cardio in everyday, (running, jump roping, DDR, a lot of fucking jumping around). But weight loss is going at a snails pace or even non-existent. If I eat more than 1500 calories, I gain weight. If I exercise less than 1 hour or not at all, I gain weight.What the hell can I do? I have no problem with working really hard and making changes to my diet. I'll do anything to finally get fit and healthy.Also, as far as I know I do not have any medical issues hindering my weight loss such as hypothyroidism, so thats been ruled out. If that helps.

eat regularly and do some heavy lifting. heavy squats and deadlifts have shot my already naturally high metabolism through the roof.
Instead of doing a one hour cardio session in a day, try doing one 45 min regular cardio session, take a couple hours off, then do another 45 minute session.
