When doing cardio on my stairmaster, it says I burn 800-1000 calories in a 30 minute session. Though, I use the lowest resistance and do sprint intervals (30 secs sprinting, 30 secs walking).Is 800-1000 calories realistic?

It's realistic, if it says calories.Kilocalories on the other hand would be ridiculous.
It might read that high if you weigh a lot and entered that into it. Those calorie counters are always inaccurate, especially at abnormal weights.
