Building muscle: i am aware that to build ur muscle u engage in intense work to stress and "tear" the target muscle then u wait for it to rebuild itself and then break it down again so that it repairs itself stronger to try to adapt to the intense work. My question i state to you! to completely wear out ur certain muscle groups it can takes up to 3(in sum situations more) days for it to repair if i dont let it fully repair.. its easier for me to stress the muscle meaning i dont have to work as hard to restrip the muscle.. so is it easier to build muscle if i work intensely one day.. then continue to work hard day after day without allowing the particular muscle no more than say 19 hours of rest? i imagine i culd damage it through such excersise.. whats ideal resting peroid for short intense weight lifting upper body

everybody repair/rest time is different. if your workingout and eating enought, and your progress is slow and you may need to rest longer.

most common is the 1 body part a week,
arms/abs day, legs/back day etc.. that give each body part 7 days to repair,

it also common for begainer with no mucles to workout everyother day, but onces the progress start to slow down or stop u'll need more rest.
