So I was at work today and I poked myself in the eye with a wire, thickness about 1.5 mm diameter. It doesn't, and didn't, hurt hardly at all, but ever since then my vision in that eye has been blurry. This was about 3 hrs ago.

Should I be worried? Will this correct itself? What do you think happened specifically to my eye to cause this Anon? Should I go to the optometrist? I'm pretty broke right now, so would like to avoid that if I could.

lol, I think you should head to the doctor. It's never a good idea to risk your vision.

Did it puncture the eyeball, or just scrape it?

first of all, eye balls are much stronger then you think. Due to the very compact nature of the tissue, scratches heal quickly and do not impair vision (assuming you didn't ass fuck your eyes with a screwdriver).

Stop been a fucking pansy and get on with your life you raging faggot.

If your job is so boring that you'd do such a thing I strongly recommend getting a better one.

scrape

It will fix itself. An optometrist with give you steroids in an eyedropper to speed the process.

FYI tidbit:

If you ever puncture your eye, don't pull out the object. Your vitreous humor (gel like substance) will leak out, and can never be replaced. Go to a hospital instead where they'll fix it up.

Oh yea, I forgot to mention, your eye will shrivel up and shrink if you pull the object out. Like how a squished grape looks.

bzzzz. They replace it with a clear saline solution in eye surgeries.

Wrong, thats if they get to it in time. You're basically screwed if you do it yourself.

Do it yourself? I didn't know there was a "home opthomology for dummies".

You guys are all dumbfucks. I said don't pull out the object in your eye, leave it to the ER doctors. Otherwise, you won't have an eye.
