do push up bars really offer anything special?

will they help tremendously in working on strength and push up endurance?

no

OP - Instinctively, what do you think?
>> Anonymous
Increased range of motion but the effect is minimal. Doing pushups between chairs helps a lot more. Also some people find it easier on the wrists, can't say i lean either direction. I'd say the increased range of motion makes it 5-10% harder

theres probably something you have in your house that can be used as those

I read that as
>do push up bras offer anything special?
And I was about to say FUCK YEAH THEY DO!

No. g2 gym, use dumbells/bench/flypress

that is all

they help prevent wrist injury. regular pushups have your hand at an angle to your forearm putting strain on your wristjoint. using the bars puts your hands in line with your forearm thereby no strain.

btw. you can achieve the same effect if you do pushups on your knuckles/closedfist.

They make it easier to do several different exercises, and help you make sure you do the full range of motion.

Can you do the same shit without them? Yeah, sure. They just help.

Also, it's easier on your hands.
