Help me, /fit/fags...

I was in a car accident last year which left me paralyzed from the waist down. I'm in a wheelchair, probably for the rest of my life. I've started to gain weight at an incredible rate and am wondering what I can do to lose weight? Obviously, I have a little trouble with that whole running and squats thing.

What can I do? I don't want to end up a miserable lump that just lays around all day.

Oh, jesus. Assuming OP isn't a troll, I'm so sorry.

The only thing I can thing of - and it blows - is to eat sparingly.

WHEELCHAIR RACEAN

Go outside and push your chair around by yourself. It's hard work. Also, bench press and pull-ups would be good in terms of resistance exercise, but it might be quite hard to get into the positions required by these exercises.

maybe get a weird modified bike that uses your hands to pedal?

i saw a paralyzed guy on TV using one and he was a badass. he got to bike ride with his family and everything.

Hey OP,

I recently found out I was retarded too, I was just wondering how you deal with people and stuff?
>> Anonymous
well, you actually have it easier, while the rest of us have to work upper and lower body, you only have upper , thus do the exercises for upper unless its phisically impossible for you.

I am also disabled but not stuck in a chair (hard to explain). Do arm exercises if you can, eat healthy, I know everyone says that, You know what your limitations are but the special bike is a good idea. Most of these fucktards dont know what you are going through, but I do. Assuming you are for real, therapy should've given you exercises, call them for ideas.

(I'm not trolling here)

Eat less, and do some physical shit. Cut out EVYERTHING with hydrogenated oils, and high fructose corn syrup, and don't touch dessert foods.

Shit sucks, but you're in a wheelchair. These are your options.

Look for workouts with dumbells, like bicep curls, military press, etc..
