Hello /fit/

I'm about to do HIIT on my exercise bike for the first time.
I'm going to follow the 20 minute schedule from the /fit/ FAQ

Now, this is all well and good, but is there anything else I should do throughout the rest of the day concerning cardio or should I only do the 20 minutes of HIIT?

It's not HIIT if you do it for 20 mins.

I was told yesterday that if I do it right, I shouldnt be able to do much more than that

so instead of making a passing comment, give me some actual insight into what im supposed to do exactly

20 minutes is plenty if you do it at high intensity, as the name suggests.

Thats what I thought, only the other anon made me doubt myself.

just another question, should I make this a daily thing? or does I need rest days in between?

Cool.
So I literally have to do 20 minutes, and that makes up my daily cardio?

Yes. 20 minutes of hard biking, with waterfall sweating and a heart about to punch a hole in your chest.

Shit

One last question
am I better using shorter intervals (the 6/9 method) or something longer? (30/45) ???

Which one will be more benficial for me?

you misunderstood him, that is too long if you are working as hard as you should be.

I see that now
I'm new to all this, lol

Anyways yeah, should I do a few minutes of warm up then do 6/9 second intervals or should I do longer intervals? 30/45 seconds?

So I've been eating turkey meat for the last 4 months and I finally get a hold of some fresh beef tenderloin, I slice it up and cook it with some veggies, and thoroughly enjoy it. Weird thing is, afterward I eflt really depressed and out o fenergy. Wtf? Explain this phenomenon.
