hi /fit/!
I'm a male, 20 years old, and I sweat pretty much... I use deodorant every day, and I've tried many different deodorants, but I keep seating, even if I'm not doing exercise. Someone told me that shaving my armpits helps a lot, and in fact, my armpit hair is pretty long and dense.
Is it true? Will I sweat less? Won't my armpit hair grow thicker?

Doesn't work that way.

And no, you shouldn't shave. Trim, yeah sure. But shaving... Go on, try it, you'll see what I meant.

>Will I sweat less?
No, but the deo will work better and you won't smell like shit
>Won't my armpit hair grow thicker?
No. And even if it does, who gives a shit?

You're lucky I guess. Ingrown hair. Itching. Rash. Shitsuckscocks. Unless you mean waxing/threading/whatever, not shaving.

Trimming is probably a good idea to reduce the smell. If you want to reduce sweating use a strong antiperspirant. Try Mitchum. If that doesn't work try Driclor.

there are anti-perspirants (e.g. driclor) that contain about six times the aluminium content of normal anti-perspirants, but trust me: you don't want to use them. they do stop sweating, but they itch/burn maddeningly and intolerably.

i tried to use it for a few months, but my will-power just wasn't up to it, and i'd rather not accumulate a shit-ton of aluminium in my body/brain.

Get talcum powder, and deodorant which contain Triclosan (google to find out more)

In S.E. Asia, a lot of people sweat here, and if it wasn't for Triclosan, this place would smell like sh*t

And if you just want to reduce perspiration, no, shaving armpits doesn't help. Plus, ingrown hair would make your armpits itchy. Don't shave it. Just trim it with scissor :D
