It doesn't taste disgusting, your taste buds withered because of your monotonous food.

you're supposed to cook them in water you know. not just pour them in a bowl. also you can add things like artificial sugar, pieces of fruit, bacon etc.

Butter makes it taste savory.

Cook it in milk and add some organic honey to sweeten it. Honey is good shit; beekeepers are the longest lived professioin in the world.

You know, I used to put a half a cup of oats in a bowl with a half a cup of water and heat in the microwave for 2 minutes. Today, I tried it one 50 seconds for the hell of it, so it was slightly not done. Dude, tasted so much fucking better.

Undercook the oats, they aren't mushy but they still go down easy. Just a tiny touch of salt and I was good to go.

Alternatively, add whey to the oats for improved taste instead of drinking the stuff. Or jerk off into the oats, it's a good source of protein. I do it all the time. I recycle my protein man.

Why is it necessary to cook them? Why not raw?

/fit/ told me that it's easier for your body to digest if it is cooked. Another thing, something about cooking them allows your body to absorb more of the nutrients or something like that.

Only REAL difference is the calorie density.
When its cooked (porridge) it fills ALOT more in your tummy, for the same calorie count.

I myself eat it everyday. I usually go with a bowl of yoghurt and pour in a batch of oats and raisins. Its fucking delicious and a real carb bomb that will keep you going until noon and lunch time (more or less)

Btw, did i mention i squat while eating it?
