Sup guys.

I've been warming up for some training this summer, I don't want to do anything heavy this summer just yet- I have back pains and shoulder pains from this last senior year of school from all the book I had to carry. I'm going to see my doctor later this week about that.

Now that that is out of the way, I have a question: What do you recommend in a pair of running shoes? I'm starting running a mile in the morning everyday over the summer, but my current shoes dig into the back of my heel and cause bleeding. So I need some shoes that won't do that (My size foot is 11 1/2).

For that matter, what's the basic running atire? Sweater, sweatpants, running shoes, a water bottle, and a beanie for the Rocky look?

Its not a fashion parade. Wear a decent pair of running shoes (New Balance imo), t-shirt & shorts. Wear tape over your nipples if the t-shirt has a logo near the chest area.

pro-tip: Rub vaseline/KY Jelly on problem areas if they are prone to blisters/bleeding.

I've always used Asics. I found them on sale one day when I needed new running shoes and I've loved them.

Also, just wear whats comfortable. If it's hot out obviously don't wear fucking sweats, wear that when it's cold out. Hydration is also a long process so there's no need for you to carry water with you. Hydrate all day how you're supposed to and you won't need water while running.

You don't need to be running you need to be deadlifting to strengthen your weakass back

It probably is weak, but then again I was carrying six books on my back so I figured it was a reasonable strain.

I might as well ask, after seeing the doctor, what do you recommend to strengthen my back?

Alright, I'll google deadlifting and see if I can integrate them into my daily workouts. Thanks for that suggestion.
