Hey /fit/ it's been awhile, but I just want to say thanks. Before I tell my story, just know I'm not a troll, I'm not looking for a "congratz" or anything like that, as a matter of fact I'm just going to post this and be done with it.
So starting in January I decided to lose weight. I was 330lbs and no muscle. I was a fat bastard. Well I decided to lose weight. Looking on the internet for different helpful hints I ran across 4chans health and fitness board. I became a regular asking advice and reading other posts that helped or motivated me. I don't know what /fit/ has become now. I don't know if it is as helpful as it used to be or if it has gotten silly.
Anyway I started excersizing and eating healthier, everyday at work I would sneak in time to write a /fit/ post or to read/respond to whatever was going on. Through /fit/ I found out about things like HIIT and Steamfresh Vegetables (which I enjoy nearly every day to this day). Long story short, I have lost roughly 80 lbs and am in the best shape of my life. People don't beleive me when I tell them that I used to be a fat bastard.
I still have some weight to lose, but because of the lifestyle I have begun, I know that I will lose more weight, and become very fit.
I'm not saying that reading /fit/ made me lose weight, I worked HARD. VERY HARD to lose my weight, but I got advise and encouragement from /fit/ and I just want to say THANKS!! I haven't been on in a few months, so I don't even know if the regulars from jan/feb/march are still on, but if you are, thanks a lot!
