Howdy /fit/

I have Diabetes type 2 and it's from gaining so much weight. My doctor says if I lose 50-100 pounds my Diabetes will be gone. I hear that Diabetics have a hard time losing weight, is this true?

probably, type 2s are usually severely overweight so that's reason enough that it's harder to lose weight. also you need to check your blood sugar before and after you work out, and you have to pay closer attention to how your body is reacting otherwise you'll end up blacking out.

Hey OP.

I've been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes for about 3 years. Bad news is, you will never get rid of Diabetes, but you just need to learn how to control it. And also, I never check my blood or take my oral medication to lower my blood sugar. I just eat as careful as possible with rigorous exercising (I play football for my high school team).

Well, I'm assuming you're getting shots like I did when I just found out that I was diabetic. Don't let those shots GET TO YOU. Those shots will make you HUNGRY AS HELL. I've gained about 60 - 70 pounds off of those shots and I lost all of it now thankfully (better shape than ever).

Anyways, don't fret.. You'll be fine, actually.. It almost keeps you in check for having those nasty sugars.

I was on pills..

It was like this: 1 after breakfast, and one after dinner. Then my Doctor bumped me up one more pill for the morning and nighttime one.
