I'm trying to do a low-carb diet. Mostly under the princple: as little sugar as possible, and no white foods (except milk and milk products like cheese). Has anyone here been on one or is on one currently? How are you faring-- losing weight?

I did the "south beach diet" which was no carbs.... lost 12 pounds within a week... i know that's not healthy to lose that much... but hey, it worked.... also i was walking for a good hour and a half each day.

OP, i'm on the anabolic diet. and let me tell ya, the first week is killer if you're used to eating lots of carbs on a daily basis like i did(i'm asian, so it came with the territory).

it sheds fat pretty easily with the correct exercise regimen and doesn't give you that "bloated" sensation you get after a meal with carbs.

OP here. What is the appropriate exercise regimen? I'm going to walk/jog at least 45 minutes a day, maybe add on another half hour after the first week (I've been very sedentary these past few years, so I NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT), so even 45 minutes is sort of a lot comparatively.
