its probably chronic posture issues. you are likely kyphotic (shoulders internally rotated, chin forward, neck curved forward) here are the key words for you
-FOAM ROLLING (SMR) with a LACROSSE ball or foam roller. -work EXTERNAL rotation+do some rows -get ART done (THIS WILL WORK) -possibly VERY good chiro could help, as this may be referred pain.
what NOT to do -bench -what ever you've been doing the last 20 odd years. this will require a COMPELTE lifestyle change to adjust your shitty posture. an hr here or there cant fix shit if the other 23/7 you are making it worse.
i halp because i remember how frustrating and useless the medical community was with my problems, no one ever helped and i just felt scammed going between orthopedic surgeons, PTs, and massage...the solution? spend 5000 hours involved in sports med research and get a fucking degree in this stuff. because if you want it done right....
