What's a typical strength ratio between the hamstrings and quadriceps? I'm reading online 70-80 to 100% and 50-80 to 100% to be normal.

I'm curious because I'm a Rippetoe disciple and do lots of SQUATZ and deadlifts. My faggy roomate took me to the gym to do a "real" workout, involving (lol) hamstring curlz and leg extensions on the machines. Well, I knocked out eight reps of 120 lbs on the hamstring curl and eight reps of 150 lbs on the leg extension, so my ratio is 80%.

It's kind of disturbing, I thought they would be able to lift equal amounts of weight, if not the hamstrings being able to do more. Is my disturbia justified or silly?

I rep 250 for hamstring curls and 160 on leg extensions. That's 64% ratio, I guess it's healthy. I'm about max on the damn hamstring machine though.

250 on a hamstring curl? Gatdamn! Anyways, I believe how the ratio is set up is H:Q, so your hamstring strength wouldn't be 64% of your quadriceps strength, it would be 156.25% of it.
