Sup /fit/.

Need some advice - I'm 180cm (approximately 6ft), and about 70KG (Approx 154 lbs). Now, my BMI is alright normal, and I'm a relatively thin build, but lately I've looked at myself and figured I'm carrying a bit too much in front - my stomache, and I'm starting to (slowly) grow manboobs.

This is a MASSIVE do not want.

Anyway, this week I started exercising - as I work full time and study part time, it's hard to find time to exercise a fair amount, but my morning routine is this at the moment:

- Wake up
- 5-10 minutes on recumbant bicycle
- Breakfast. Consits of Coffe, normally black with no sugar but occasionaly I may add half a teaspoon of sugar and toast, or something. Need to come up with a better breakfast plan.
- Shower / Get ready for work
- Work
- Come home
- Dinner, then another 15-20 minutes on bike, some starjumps (jumping jacks), pushups and crunches.

I used to eat relatively crappy lunches at work, however lately I've been having fruit, sald sandwhices, and I've cut back a LOT on my beer, fast food and soft drinks.

So, my question is this - am I on the right way to removing my excess baggage?

Any tips / suggestions?

Exercise gets boring after a while, but I've really been meaning to do something about this, mainly for my health (I'm only 20, so I'm worried about down the track, don't want diabeetus, etc). Any suggestions on how to keep exercise interesting would be good too....

Much <3

Pic somewhat related I guess.

Don't do "some" exercises, do set amounts.
Can you do 40 push ups at once? Then do 4x30.
Can you do 10 pullups? Then do 6*6.

Also, increase the numbers with time.

I started out with 10 pushups on Monday, and that damn near killed me. Now I do 15, and that near kills me.

Crunches I only just started, so haven't got very far with those yet.

Star jumps anywhere between 100-200. I don't really know how much good they actually do though? How benefical are they really?

Yes, music is good. But need something fast paced to get in the mood and I always end up trying to exercise in time with the music, lol.

increase difficulties of exercises rather than increasing reps, add backpack weight, do clap pushups, pushups between chairs, do burpees, buy a set of dumbells(adjustable) and do tabata thrusters (google=friend). buy a pullup bar and make it routine to do 1 short of your max(at least one) pullup everytime you leave the room and chinups when you enter.

star jumps?

grap a jumprope, or just jog

pushups and crunches won't really burn fat either, but they're a good way to start before you investing in gym equipment/membership
