Yeh it is... but like I said, it isn't that much once you're used to it.
Start off with like, 2 pints a day, and add a glass every day until you're drinking the whole gallon.
You don't have to be too precise, if you're just starting lifting and suddenly drinking a big surplus of milk... you're going to see very rapid gains in size.
I drink a lot of water too... so what I do is, everytime I go to the kitchen to get a glass of water (at least once an hour) I have a glass of milk too. By the end of the day I've made my way through most of the gallon.
