Yesterday I lifted for the first time in a while, for toning reasons. Next day (today) I woke up mega sore, especially in tricep and hamstring area. I decided not to run today because after a short jog, during which I felt little to no burning, my legs started to hurt even more.

Tommorrow, I really want to go run, but I'm afraid I'll be in pain again. If I am, should I push through it /fit/? Or should I rest again? Also, I am trying this bulk and cut method. When is it time to stop bulking and start cutting?

Are you trying to tone or bulk ? I don't get it well

As for running, take a rest day id you feel pain, it's especially important to be moderate when you just started

lol
bulk = gain muscle
tone = gain the same muscle but 10x slower

also, pain is weakness leaving the body. your body is brimming full of it

Man the fuck up. A tiger chasing you is not going to care that you're sore and it hurts to run away. Its going to fucking eat your ass.

Well the bulking thing is an in general sort of question, for future reference.

I want to tone because I'm cutting at the moment (and you can't really bulk on a calorie deficit), but I also wanted to know if I messed up, since I bulked for like one month (maybe less) and have been cutting since March.

if you are under 20% bodyfat, and your squat is less than about 250lbs, you should be bulking

Does the squat weight differ for men and women?

i would get to at least intermediate if not intermediate/advanced before cutting or else you will not like how you look
