Hey /fit/
In a week and two days my schools football tryouts are starting. I've been working out all summer, mostly on strength by lifting weights and stamina by running daily, but I still feel insecure, is there any exercises I could do that can get me in better shape by the time football tryouts start?(p.s. I'm a Nose tackle_

u don't need football skillz for nose tackle... just do squatz and practice swim/rip moves with your hands + arms... google that shit

Nose Tackle requires you to have to take on Double Teams alot to free up lanes for linebackers. You will need a good base. Do your squatz and deadlifts. Practice keep your center of gravity low and coming out of your stance right at the snap.

Do core stuff with a swiss ball. Also, try some quickness drills, shuttle etc.
