Dear /fit/, I think I injured myself sometime last Thursday or Friday. The area in question is my right pectoral muscle and the cause was either from lifting heavy luggage all, wrestling with some guy, or my own chest routine.

It hurts to laugh, sneeze, and breathe deeply. However, the pain from moving my arm in certain motions isn't that bad. From what I looked up on the internet, I could have a pec tear or a sternal fracture. I highly doubt it's the latter.

What is your diagnosis /fit/? And how long do you think I'll have to take off from bench pressing. I've already been gone for 4 days and it's disappointing.

Sounds more like a gas bubble in your lung than a muscle tear. If such is the case, it should be gone within 2-3 days. Let's see what the other doctors have to say...

Fix'd.

Whatever happens, don't rush back into a chest routine. As someone who's lived a decade without health insurance, I know most shit goes away... unless you provoke worse damage.
