I got rear-ended on my way to school this morning. I fared pretty well, only a little tender in my neck, probably due to superior constitution and development from lifting weights. It got me to thinking, are there any good neck exercises? Surely it's strengthened in deadlifts, cleans, rows, etc. but any others?Pic directly relevant. Basically my head and neck went through frames 1 and 2, but I caught myself and my head didn't 'whip' as in frame 3.
there's a whole machine dedicated to it at my gym. I think you should stand on a tension band and move it with your head. see how that works
