Sup /fit/?

So I've noticed I've gotten a bit round as of late, used to swim my ass off up until I graduated high school three years ago. I stopped swimming regularly, but continued eating like a was, so now I'm a bit overweight. I've taken up eating a lot healthier in the past weeks, having a fruit smoothie for breakfast every day, and eating pasta or soup or sandwiches for the other meals, eliminating most junk food, fast food and soda, and I've noticed an improvement in weight.

So now I'm trying to find a good exercise to get into. I run about 2 miles once a week, but in order to get into shape, I'm going to need to do it a bit more. Problem is, I find it incredibly boring. So I've decided that in addition to jogging 2 miles once a week, I'm going to play DDR for 30 minutes minimum every day. My question, is this a decent cardiovascular activity, and should I see some results? I'm looking to lose about 20 lbs from what I weigh right now.

we've gotten tired of bashing ddr.

ddr at anything less than the hardest levels is really pretty useless

however; my brother played and played and played and got really good and lost about 20 lbs from it

The only friend I have that plays DDR (or at least that I know of) is both a weeaboo and is kinda fat. You guys are right. He's cool though.

DDR is good exercise for incredibly out of shape weeaboo faggots who would die if they actually jogged for more than 2 minutes.
