wondering if i should buy a bar Anonymous
he guys, i do my whole weight routine with dumb bells.
how much more would i be likely to bench if i switched to a bar bell instead?

If you buy a cheap bar for full price it will bend in a year. get a used or get a good quality one.

1. Find out how much you bench using dumb bells (add the two up)
2. Buy a bar, find out how much it weighs
3. Subtract bar weight from combined dumb bell weight. Then add plates to bar to compensate.

no, the amount you can lift using a bar will be more than with dumb bells. the bar is a lot easier to control and lift
