I can't get to a gym and can't afford equipment to work out, what can I do? Anonymous
What would push-ups and sit-ups everyday do for me?
I can't get any weights or go to a gym or anything like that (why isn't important)

I'm 18, about 5"9 or 5"10 and I weigh about 111, I am very skinny and want to bulk up. Can you guys help, I have no idea what to do or where to start.

I can't afford good weights but if I could afford some of those Jugs of stuff that are supposed to bulk you up when you eat it or something I'd try it.

What can I do /fit/?

well first off all. You dont need weights to get big. u can get big by pushups and sit ups alone. Trust me my brother was locked up for 2 months. they threw his ass in a cell all day, all night. it wasnt a prison where u can wander around and lift weights. He was in a jail cell for 2 months. he just worked out in there did alot of pushups. The ticket was. YOU GOTTA EAT ALOT!!! Trust me I used to be skinny and work out but it didnt change shit, it drove me nuts. when my brother came out all buffed out it drove me mad. he told me u just have to stuff ure self and work out.

OP here.

My metaobolism is CRAZY fast. I eat a full digiorno pizza alone about 4 days of the week and I gain nothing at all from it.
That's why I said I wouldn't mind eating/drinking from those jars I always see that say they will Bulk you up if anyone knows what I mean?


What do you suggest next because I do eat like a pig but I hardly gain from it at all.
Also if for some reason I do start gaining weight with a suggestion of yours maybe, how many sit-ups and push-ups should I do a day and when?

Jesus fucking christ, 111? I'm 5'9 130 and I'M too skinny. I'm thinking you need some heavier duty shit diet wise than just eating a lot of normal food. You should buy yourself some ultra-high calorie weight gainer formula (powder/mix). Couple this with some push-ups/dips/pull-ups and some core work bi-daily. Your goal right now should be just to get to a healthy weight for your height, because really man, you're just about fucking 2-dimensional. Once you've got your weight up to a healthier level you should get yourself some weights and then set your sights on some muscle bulking.

Ok here is what I ate yesterday I wrote it down because I am really trying to eat healthier and work out and crap.

-4 Eggs Scrambled, made with butter(I don't know how much exactly but it was like 2 spoon fulls)
-5 Strips of Bacon
-Cup of Orange Juice
-5 .5L of Zephyrhills water
-A full digiorno pepperoni pizza that on the box says 1/6th of a pizza is 360 calories/160 from fat.
-3 Hot Dogs not sure about the details.
-4 12FL oz of Coca-Cola.
-Bunch of fries made from a frozen pack bought at the store.
-Chips, chips, chips when I had free time off the stove or to do whatever activity. Fritos, Doritos, Lays, etc..
-Home-made Cheese Burger (Very big)
-Like 10 packets of Easy Mac.
-2 Pork-chops with some rice.
-2 big glasses of milk
-Some Ice Cream, chocolate chip and cookie dough.
-Some brownies
-4 Fruity popsicles every now and then.
-Some Oreos to snack on like chips.

That's me almost everyday and no fucking lie I don't gain shit from it.

That's not correct. Your metabolism is decided by MOSTLY your physical activity, and then your body mass. Your body REQUIRES a certain amount of calories for basic functioning, and then some to sustain the muscle, fat, hair, etc. on your body. Unless you've got something like hyperthyroidism (do you always feel warm, are you nervous and shaky, do you have chronic diarrhea?) your metabolism is probably comparable to the rest of us (the vast majority of people don't have screwy metabolism).

Are you a very active person? Have you ever done a food diary? A food diary would be very useful for you to gauge how much you need to modify your eating habits. Do you get a BALANCED diet? Nutrition is very important.

Do that, add 700-1000 calories to that number. That's how much you should eat AS WELL as do strength training to gain weight/build muscle.
If you need more advice on gaining weight I can tell you what I've read. I've been working at changing my own habits to gain weight, and I've SLOOOWLY gained 8 pounds over a long period of time.

I used to do that, but I stopped around a year ago. I feel a lot better than I did, and since I've been working out (only for 3 months) I've went from 124 to 142. It helps that I've been working out, though (mostly endurance training, albeit).

Oh, and that diet of yours is going to kill you eventually if you don't start eating healthy, seeing as you probably won't have that metabolism forever and that it causes untold havoic on your arteries, digestive system, etc.

was < 120 like you. my metabolism is crazy. I can not eat for 3 days and not feel hungry, or i can 2pound ribs and 1 pound steak for a single meal.

nothing changes my weight. best thing to do is to this:

everytime you enter your room, or come back from the toilet or basically after you do anything, do some pushups, situps etc. i started with reps of 15 pushups, 30 situps everytime i entered my room. now im up to 50 pushups 200 situps

2 months in.

also if you have an old copmuter (steel case) use that as a weight for curls.

works for me, as for diet, fuck it, just eat when you are hungry, but try to eat big meals, rather than snacks, it's easier; just go back for seconds.

Don't feel discouraged. Start doing situps and pushups, and if possible find a place in your house where you can start doing some pull ups and chinups.
