hey /fit/

i have a little bit of a problem with man boobs.
i have been trying to get rid of them with bench presses and other exercises. i havent gotten around to actually trying to lose fat yet because im trying to build more muscle.

does anyone know any good ways to get rid of them fast? i have been thinking about getting an
e-book such as the chest coach. has anyone used these?

You could also have a hormonal problem. You seen a doctor?
Otherwise, you just have to lose fat. You can't lose it in specific areas, you just gotta trim it down.

If you're doing exercise, you're on the path to losing fat. Just keep at it and you'll see results in a month or so. Also it's been said hundreds of times already, but spot reduction isn't possible, you have to drain the flab out evenly from your body. Good luck!

if you work out your chest you are going to make the muscles underneath larger and it will only make your boobs appear bigger. If it is just fat, try losing weight (spot reducing does not exist).

im planning on starting to get on a fat loss plan within the next few weeks or so.
i want to finish my current routine for gaining muscle mass.

i've done really good with staying consistent with my current workout. i just hope i can do the same with trying to lose fat

I'd recommend losing weight in general, but also focus on your pecs. Spot reduction doesn't work, but putting actual muscle underneath the moobs will make them look a hell of a lot better. Yours aren't really that big, so with some nice pecs your chest will look just fine.

Listen to these guys.

Any cardio exercises will help you diminish the fat everywhere on your body. Another bonus is that you'll become addicted to the feeling you get while doing them(I don't know what it's called :X) Which will make it a lot easier to do.

Do cardio and you cant burn fat on one specific part of your body. when you burn fat you burn it all or nothing.

So do cardio and you'll burn overall fat in your body and eventually the moobs will be gone.

Trust me; cardio; nothing else works as well.

And building muscle will only make your moobs look bigger cause the added muscle to the fat makes it look perky. lol.

I'd like to say (for the 101st time), spot reduction is 99.9% a myth. In principle working those areas increases blood flow and hence fat cell mobility, but the difference that makes is so small you'd need a microscope to measure it.

Srsly, when I was like 15 I used to do like 500-800 crunches a day to get rid of my gut - didn't do shit except develop abs, but they were still covered by a layer of flab.

Moar recently, started dieting properly and hitting the treadmill, fat gone.

Best thing to do is reduce your caloric intake just a little (200 cals a day) but hit the cardio hard (I like the treadmill as it shows lots of stats like calories burned)... 30 mins running at about 6.5mph will burn 400 or so cals.

It takes 3500 cals burned to lose a pound of fat, so with the above in mind you'll lose a pound a week easily if you exercise daily (though its best to mix up with weights so you don't lose muscle).

do drugs/stims if you really want to lose them.

lose the bf%.

But, eating right w/ cardio/lifting is the way to go. Just throw the stims in with the routine for some fast results.
