what's your motivation /fit/?
Gaining functional strength for a sport/job/activity?
Getting/staying healthy?
Improving your looks/trying to impress the opposite (or same) sex?
The satisfaction of hard work and seeing results?
Or some combination of all of the above (that's my answer).
>> faggot !kzxLmJyzX.
Losing weight for myself, for good clothes, for happiness, for career and for bitches. On a more personal note i want to just send a massive fuck you to everyone who has treated me like shit for being fat.

what did you expect you fat whiny bitch?
Welcome to 4chan.

I'm living a sedentary lifestyle now and the higher education I'm pursuing will only enforce this, hence I want to be as fit as I possibly can be to compensate for that.

Improving my looks is a benefit I guess, but I've always been tall, lean and handsome so I don't think I really need it. Not that I get laid often, but that has everything to do with my abrasive personality and nothing to do with my looks.

Not being a fat ugly faggot is enough motivation for me.

I've always enjoyed being active, hiking, water skiing, dirt bikes, etc but I never really gave much thought to staying strong & building muscle, I just did what I did & it kept me slender & healthy. Then I got into an accident & lost a lot of mobility for about 3 years. Just prior to my last surgery I noticed that my left arm was very noticeably smaller than my right, I was having problems taking my dog for a walk around the block & I felt like shit. I took a couple of pictures of myself & saw how much I had changed, how weak & frail I was really starting to look.

I swore to myself that I would rebuild & be stronger than ever. I don't care if anyone ever looks at me & thinks I look good...but when the zombie apocalypse happens & life as we know it comes to an end, I'll be ready to kick some ass.

This too. I can't fight off zombies if I'm a 300lb neckbeard or some 6'2" 130lb twig who can't lift a crowbar over my head.

you notice how zombie movies always have deskjob skinnyfags but the second they start killing shit they were ripped the entire time? that's some bullshit.

exercising and smaller portions seem to work the best and pretty much it's impossible without decent motivation.
Oh yeah, still a coffee addict, stupid caffeine and lack of willpower to stop.

Needed a hobby, and the confidence boost is always nice.

my motivation: Depression and stress.
I can't arsed to eat like I did (I eat about 600-800 cals now compared to 1500), so I might as well tone up as well.
I don't want any of my flesh to be touched (as weird as that sounds.)

For happiness and for them ladies.

I hate being fat, I want to be strong and be able to cosplay as spawn. Oh and a burning desire to bend metal objects.

to finally be able to post my feet on /fit/

Personally, I'm a bit of a masochist. I don't really like myself and the burn/soreness that I get after working out feels good.
>> Anonymous
I do it because I hate my body and want to change it to something I'm happy with. It's going fairly well.
