i'm a 18 year old male. i'm aerobically fit. i run a mile or two every 2 or 3 days and train for my university field hockey team.

i have aspirations to both run the marathon and get a bit buffer. i'm of pretty skinny build and find it hard to put any muscle on.

what's the best way to achieve both of these goals. i don't really know much of the terminology (reps, squats) so am looking for a real beginners guide - diet, excercise etc.

i've also got slight Pectus excavatum - do any other /fit/tards with this find it's hard to get better looking pecs or any other fitness differences?

Its kinda hard to run 26 miles and get buff at the same time. Do one before the other.
