I wondering what the best way to get slightly ripped is, I don't want to get buff or huge I just want to be more defined. I want to go to a pool and have a definable six pack and the like. I'm 6 feet tall and I weigh about 160-165 pounds.

Honestly, just get your body fat down. Eat less and exercise more. Core exercises are good, but body fat will mask any muscle gains you get.

Lay down, bend your knees and make sure your lower legs are straight up and down. Raise your hips so they are in line with your knees. Extend a leg straight out, keeping it in line with the rest of your body. Hold. When you fail, switch to the other leg. Then go back to the first and move it straight out, and then to a 45 degree angle relative to the rest of your body.

I'm putting these things into a text file.

Grab a medicine ball and lean back so your legs are straight out and your lower back is touching the ground. Twist as much as you can and tap the ball (grip with both hands) to one side, at least level with the hips, preferably behind. Do the other side. Do this over and over.
