sup /fit/

I'm currently taking this fall semester off so I'm gonna have a shitload of free time and while I'm already dedicating 3 days out of the week to lifting I don't feel like that's enough

I mean I remember 2-3 years ago when I was in high school and would lift during football with the wrestling team theyd be fucking lifting every day it seemed and so would we

but all I read about online is people recommending 3 days only, and while I respect the fact that rest is extremely crucial isnt there something else that I can be doing 2-3 other days exercise wise?

It's not like I'm sedentary when I'm not at the gym or doing cardio but a day doing either of those just feels like a day wasted

tldr I know plenty of SWOLE NIGGERS who lift 5 days a week, are they doing it wrong or what

I lift 3 days a week too. Personally, I feel really tired the day after lifting so it suits for me.

That's a bad idea, Mike.

This is an example of an old preseason lax work out we had. There is a day of arms and legs before the first chest day. Although the lifting program has changed a lot in the exercises we do, the format is still the same.

Hey, OP. I lift 4 times a week, hitting two muscles/body parts per session. That's what worked for me (plus I couldn't take more weight lifting classes.) Read Arnold's bodybuilding book if you wanted to hit heavy 5 or 6 times a week, but 3-4 days a week is fine too.
