sup /fit/ i recently decided to stop eating shit. (read: fast food, sodas etc..) and to eat less and at proper times (breakfast lunch and dinner). Is it normal to be so hungry? I'm finding drinking water helps when I get hungry though so I am drinking alot more.

Try eating a serving of fruit before each meal, this will help and they're low in calories (be careful of certain fruits that are high in sugar). Water definitely helps, your body is trying to get used to not having that particular food, give it time.

certain berries, such as strawberries can be high in sugar. I recommend bananas. They have like 60 calories and it takes like 2 to make a breakfast (for me anyways). Also, try waiting after you eat. It takes a few minutes for food to reach the stomach. Eat slowly, you'll fill up faster.
