I think I'm losing my fat a bit too fast. I dropped 2 pant sizes in like 3 weeks. I understand that when you slim down too fast, you balloon again really fast as soon as you start eating much again. Is there any way to prevent that? Like eating gradually more and more or something?

continue to eat the way you are to lose fat for the rest of your life. seriously

You shouldn't eat less than 1300 calories a day. That would be your starting problem.

Increase it to 1200 over the next 3 days. Tell us what you're eating on a daily basis now.

OP is only 85kg, if the OP was e.g. 120kg then it may be a problem.

I start the day with a cup of oatmeal with water and a tbsp of honey and an apple, at noon I have a peanut butter sandwish and another apple, in the evening I have a veggie mix with some chicken breast or fish.

Looks like you are stacking carbs here and its not going to work long term. Switch the lunch to chicken and vegetables to cut out alot of crap. Basically you want it like this:

- Breakfast is fine. Take your carbs in the morning.
Lunch - Chicken/turkey & vegetables/salad
Evening meal - Mainly a high protein and low carb/fat meal. Basically lean meats, vegetables.

This sounds bland but it is the basic reality of dieting. You want to lose weight, i can see after another 2 weeks of your current diet you wont lose anymore and will eventually put even more back on when it crashes.

Change to higher protein, lower carbs (but dont completely cut them out!).

Exercise is fine, try adding in some weights to your workout, and squats (lol)/situp's/press up's etc..

And btw it isnt likely you are losing just fat, theres probably a good amount of muscle being lost if you dont get enough protein.

Alright, what are some good examples of lean meat? I pretty much only know sausages, which is probably why I got so fat in the first place.

Sausages are very, very bad. I ate one while looking at the packaging and realised its about 200 calories per small sausage. Im not perfect, i did swallow it but made up for it later.

Basically, as bland as it is, you are stuck with:

Chicken
Turkey
Pork, but not alot
Quorn/Soya Protein

red meats arent that great for you and i cant sit here and tell you its easy to eat chicken and veg every single night. You can vary it, but since you eat carbs in the morning you are stuck with protein in the evening which is the way to go for you.

In my situation i get protein in morning and afternoon and small carbs in the evening. Not the best way, i dont eat carbs after 5pm, though im considering eating my evening meal in the morning as its basically healthy microwave meals and veg.

So basically, white meats = good (except duck/goose, they are very fatty), red meats = bad.

You can also have vegetable stir-fry some evenings, i love doing it because vegetables are low in calories.

I'm not saying completely cut red meat, but try keep it white meat 5/6 days a week, red meat 1/2 a week.

Fish is fukken tasty. Only meat I eat comes from the sea (no shellfish though, allergic). You can find some nice tastes.

grilled chicken (no skin), TUNA, (avoid beef like the plague), you can also try boca burgers which are made of tofu if you are really hung up on not giving up burgers.

My breakfast consists of a slice of honey toast (wheat bread, tsp. honey, approx. 100 Cal.) and a cup of tea (either Tazo Earl Grey or Awake, some kind of black tea.) I have found that, for me at least, the teas suppress my appetite for lunch.

Lunch then becomes a small sandwich with no mayo, and some fruit and/or nuts. With lunch I usually have green or white tea (Tazo, again.) This curbs my appetite further, personally, until dinner.

Dinner is whatever dinner is, but I try to eat well (no fast food, fruit for dessert, etc.)

Incorporating tea into my diet has really helped me stick to it. So if you need that extra help in not resorting to eating way more, try some tea with your meals. The earlier in the day the better.

Im honestly not a fan of fish. I know i should eat it, but i've just never liked fish outside cod & tuna.

>>132958

I forgot to mention tofu, i dont know its nutrional value and if its the same as soya protein.

Is fish high in protein too?

Tuna is awesome. I have it all the time. I'm not so good with fish names in English, but squid and smoked salmon is also very nice.

Actually, smoked salmon is so great I can just eat it with my fingers without anything else. But it's good on black bread too.

I like mackerel too, but not mackerel salad due to hueg amounts of mayo.

Fish meatballs are also good, though I don't know if they have those in fish stores in the US.

You should probably go to a fish store and ask them what's tasty, and don't mind paying a bit more for quality even if it means you get less mass back home.

It's great.

Try Orange Roughy. It's an ass-ugly fish that lives in the cold, deep waters of the western Pacific. It's mild, with no fishy taste. It has firm flesh, is reasonably priced as fish go, and is quite good.

Frozen fillets come two to a pack around here.
