P90x, /fit/, yay or nay?

my mum bought me this out of fucking nowhere. I don't have any idea how much weight I should be using (and can't afford to just buy a complete set).

I haven't really started it yet, right now I'm just doing the XTREMOABSOMG3000 exercise that came with it every other day in hopes of building some visible stomach muscles (I've got next to no body fat, but also no muscle.)

OP here, I forgot to mention, I'm almost keeping up with them in the video (my pace is a little slower and my form is a bit worse than in the video) but I'm not 'feeling the burn' or any muscle tightness after the workout.

tldr; it feels like it's not doing anything (week and a half of this routine) any suggestions to help intensify it?

If your keeping up with them, you must be in pretty damn good shape. I have the p90X and it is intense. You might want to slow down and work on your form a bit. Also, if its easy for you, do the intensified versions of the workout (he shows the easier and the much harder way of doing them) I LOVE the p90X and i think it works great.

Meh, I torrent'd this for the hell of it. Still haven't tried it.

I did Kenpo tonight, and it was fucking awesome because the first time I tried I died like halfway through. (I haven't been doing it long obv). For weights I usually use 15-25 pound dumbbells, theyre like $30 at walmart and you can take the weights off and adjust them and stuff.

And the Ab video is supposed to be for after your regular workout. Look at the sequence in the fitness guide. I havent done P90X long but I think it's amazing and will make you a spartan in no time.

I know several people who have used it and it's done what it said. Just follow everything it says, don't half ass it.

I just downloaded this. How exactly does this work? Do you do one video a day or what?
