Alright nigelts. I want to discuss something.

Why is it so much harder for some men to gain weight then the rest? I know part of it is we have a smaller natural appetite, so we eat less. But there has to be some other factors as well. I'm guessing in the army you are all fed the same shit, yet there are still thin guys there.

I may not eat like a beast, but neither do a few of my friends. They do the same thing. Bagel and 2 eggs for breakfast. Sandwich and a drink for lunch. Some chips through out the day. Family dinner or take out. A protein shake or two. Then maybe something before bed.

And they are 30-50 lbs heavier than I am.

Different genetics, if they have stockier bone structures there body is moving toward being bigger anyway. Beyond that the digestive tract you have may have a lot to do with it. Lactose intolerance is somethign most people understand but to some degree many foods are difficult to process. Depending on the bateria and enzymes in your gut certain carbs or fats may pass right through you. Thus you may be much less adapted to the bagel and chips diet then your friends.

This. Your metabolism is more efficient. Gravy train doesn't last forever though.

Btw, is that your pet woman? She's so cute. I like how you put newspaper everywhere so she doesn't make a mess. Women can be messy slutty bitches.

Well. I'd like for it to stop.

I'd like to be able to eat 3-4 meals comfortably and work out and be a fit normal sized man, like many people can. Instead of working out and eating 3-4 meals a day (6 is not possible due to commuting to college and money issues) and being fit, but the size of a 16 year old.

the more active you are the more calories you will burn in a day, therefore the more active you are the bigger your appitite will be. the best way to gain weight is by being really active, your body will automatically want to start eating more. just gradually eat more and more. pretty soon it will be easy to eat 3 to 4 times as much as you used to!!!!

trust me OP, you have it way better than the rest of us
you may think it sucks to be able to eat 2 pizzas and not gain any weight, but think about what its like for the rest of us.
if i eat a pizza, i'll literraly blimp up like a fucking balloon and it will have ruined any work i've done in the past several weeks. I WISH that my problem was that I had to eat a ton of delicious food but I would stay skinny. Thats like a fucking dream for most Americans. So stop bitching.

I kind of have that same problem. And it's not that I don't eat enough; it's like when I try to over-eat, I will for the next couple of days just be nauseated with food. Literally nauseated.

It's just simply hard for me to consistently eat more and more food.

And here's the kicker: I eat more than my friends on average. Like I'll eat almost 1.5 x whatever they're eating at any sitting (maybe they ate before, idk), but I'm usually the should-be-fatass at the table who orders and consumes the largest amount of food. Like they order a salad, and I have an entire pizza.

Sorry if it hurts some hardgainer's delicate sensibilities, but most people dream of eating whatever they want and not getting fat. Most people (including me) don't want to look like a bodybuilder, either.

Of course, if you don't get some eating/training discipline when you're young, it's all the harder to learn it when you're 35 and your metabolism slows down. I guess that's the plus side to gaining fat easily in your youth.
