Eating unhealthy one night a month doesn't really alter your diet as a whole. Besides, even at parties with lots of unhealthy food there's ways around over-eating. One of them being eating a moderately sized meal before you leave home so you're not starving when you arrive, another is making sure there's an option of healthier food where you're going. Keeping a bottle of water on you or chewing on gum also helps preventing mindless snacking while eating TV.
What we've got to remember is that people still need to have self-control, and that eating healthy isn't just a matter of bad food being out of sight, out of mind,
