Kettlebell exercises.

What the shit can you actually do with these things aside from just the same as you can do with bells?

Look oldschool.

I was wondering about that today as well.
Anyone got any serious input?

Kettlebells are waste of money in my opinion. They're just balls of iron with a handle. If you have one, check out www.dragondoor.com for some exercises, if you don't have one, it's not really worth buying one if you have access to some dumbbells.

After a small youtube session everyone seems to do swings, but flinging a weight about had never struck me as particularly good form.

the real 'power' of the kettlebell can be released by using the system made by Pavel, called RKC.
As 150905 linked, try looking www.dragondoor.com. If you're really interested, you should go to a course, or get a private instructor, because they can show you how to do the excercises well, without getting injured. That way using kettlebells will be a lot more effective(in gaining relative power, not weak but big muscles), than normal weightlifting, and it has positive effects on your joints and backbone as well.
