I've been running 30 mins a day almost every night for the past 2 weeks, and now my left calf hurts. It started Friday so I decided to take a break from running for 2 days, and the pain was pretty much gone this Sunday so I went running again, now it hurts again and a bit more than last Friday so I guess I didn't give it enough time to heal.So, how many days should I rest to heal it completely? If I keep watching my diet during this period, I won't gain my lost weight back, I hope?

how about you stretch before and after running, that should help
