Is it possible to do an entire training program without equipment (situps, pushups, crunches)?
Also how much time a day would I have to spend on training for it to have any effect? Half an hour.. more?
Picture somewhat related, I would like to avoid getting any of that stuff.

If you don't use weights, the only sure fire way to get ripped is to skip.

i know, it sounds gay, but skipping is an outstanding cardio workout that also works your muscles nearly as well as squats. Be sure to skip for an hour a day at least.

OP here, skipping never occured to me, I might give that a try.
btw the goal of me exerciseing is not to lose weight, is more a question of not looking so bloody scrawny.

you don't need weights to do exercises.

just use your body as the weight. Do pushups, chin ups, sit ups. anything you can think of that will use your body weight. Works wonder.

If a female doesn't want to have an overly-muscle appearance, would working out without weights be a good idea?

weights are always a good idea. just do low weight, high reps.

"without using weights" is a very general term. you could just use lighter weights and do more reps per set. that would help to tone the muscles you already have, whilst giving them a little boost at the same time.

working out without weights can be somewhat limiting, however if you're creative enough with your exercises you can find a lot of different exercises.
However if you're still wanting to look like a woman rather than some kind of man-woman hybrid, then doing a mixture of both light weights and exercises using your own body are quite good.

A female is not going to get overly muscly appearing without steroids and a perfect nutrition plan with whatever equipment.

Handstand push ups.
Planche push ups.
Decline clapping push ups.
Jumping pistol squats.
Plyometrics.
Dead hang L-pull ups
1hand chin ups
V-ups,
Oblique V-ups

Get olympic rings.
Muscle ups,
Iron crosses,
ect.

Going body weight doesn't mean that you get the excuse of being a pussy and doing just push ups and crunches.

If you're working, work fucking hard you wuss.

push ups, bench dips, handstand push ups, crunches but do a double leg raise as you raise your back off the ground...forget their name.

You can do supermans for your lower back, squats if done slowly and held can be awesome too. Calf raises, lunges, pelvic thrusts from lying on your back with legs bent knees facing upward.

ummm...what else...for biceps its hard to have a workout that doesnt require atleast some kinda equipment. I use a pullup bar but other than that I used to just do only bodyweight based workouts and then jump rope.

I was doing about between 50-70 handstand pushups a day to every other day for a while but now I only do about 10-30 a day cause its fuckin winter man and it sucks to run or get pumped when its so fuckin cold

super V's

a shit ton of ideas in this thread for body weight exercises. also try roller blading or ice skating. great for the hips, thighs and ass. roller blader girls always raise my flag if you know what I mean.

I am doing a daily set mostly weightless that lasts over an hour. On fridays I do over an hour of abs with not one single weight. Ab day is great shit man!!!
