Hey /fit/ do you have any tips on how to make my hair grow super fast, be reasonable.

Cut it regularly. The older a hair's tip is, the more likely it is to split, so if you cut it, you reduce the chance of split ends and your hair grows a bit faster overall.

any like foods, or vitamins I can consume to help the growth process, products... etc etc

that's nonsense.
Hair is dead tissue, except for the root of course.
Cutting it does not speed up growth.

This is the oldest rumor in Dr. Seuss' big book of rumors.

Hair grows from the root, not the tips.

Get lots of protein in your diet.

Ya'll done misconstrued what I said. If your hair splits, chances are it'll break off, becoming shorter than the rest of your hair. Cutting it regularly before it splits will make for a stronger strand of hair that is less likely to break.

Plus you won't look like a fucking scrub. If you want long, smooth hair (rather than hair riddled with shorter strands which stick straight the fuck up regardless of any styling you do), the cut it regularly to reduce split ends.

You said cutting it regularly speeds it's growth. This is false.

use hair formula 37. i do and i get at least one inch of growth a month. and if it dosent work for you, you can get youre money back.

A technicality. The point is it gets longer faster (by minimizing loss/damage/whatever).

I wanted long hair for a while, but as a guy never knew much about it. There's a lot of bad info out there, and sometimes it's hard to tell who is right. I didn't believe the trimming thing really, and thought I can just get a trim after growing it a good ways or something.

So I haven't had it trimmed at all since my last buzz cut, which was at least 2 years ago (probably more, but I forget). I consider it a mistake.

Pic is my hair now (crappy cell pic, all I got SRY). I could do better about conditioner (though I'm careful about drying/damaging). Otherwise, besides the lack of trimming, I think I've taken pretty good care of it. So you can make your own judgements.

Lots of vitamins, especially flax seed oil or evening primrose oil. Take those along with a multivitamin. Get your hair trimmed only a tiny bit every two months or so. Use plenty of conditioner and only shampoo four or less times a week. Use serum like Paul Mitchell Skinny serum or Citre Shine on the ends. Try not to use a blow dryer or a straightening iron and stay away from hairspray. Comb your hair with a wide tooth comb when you get out of the shower NEVER brush wet hair it will break it. Try not to brush it too much while dry either. Do not dye it unless you use semipermanent dye. I recommend using Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner but if you can afford more then try anything from Biosilk. Good luck!

If I were you I would cut it a few inches and have some layers put in or something. Your hair is a little too thin to wear long no offense. Some thin highlights would make it look a little thicker too I think.

This is why you have someone take care of your hair, even only removing a half an inch/an inch and giving you advice about growing it out. I mean a damn barber would have helped here. 15$ every 2 months or so would have you looking a lot better.

How about in combination with long beard?

I've read that massaging your scalp often helps a bit. Not massively, but it's worth a try, right?

Head Massage -> Blood stimulation -> Growth-> Profit!

Really.
Let's compare how much pussy you get and how much I get.

I don't know if there's any truth to this, but I've always been under the impression that dairy, namely calcium and a decent amount of sunlight encourages hair and nail growth.
My nails always grow quickly, likewise my hair and I down milk like there's no tomorrow.

This could just be my body, but might be worth looking into?

It's genetic, but make sure to eat more protein. Hair is dead protein.

i don't care how much pussy you get. i've never seen a guy with shoulder length or longer hair that i didn't immediately think "douche bag". i also had a roommate who bragged about how much pussy he got, and he just fucked anything that walked, it was 99% HUGE fat bitches. enjoy that.

Thanks, I know I need help with it, lol. I've been putting it off because I'm scared I'll get somebody like>>49715who won't have a clue what to do with long hair on a guy, and will probably want to cut it to 1inch.

If I lived in a bigger city with more options, I wouldn't have thought twice about it. I suppose I should go anyways, though...

actually, thicker hair on a dude never looks that good. My hair's really thick and when it was a lil over shoulder length it looked very meh, whereas thinner hair will fall a bit easier and usually look less bummish.

I've heard a rumor that eating moar jello works. Probably false.
