Sup /fit/

2 years ago I weighed 493 pounds. I weighed myself today and I'm now down to 280. Over 200 pounds in 2 years.

To make a long story short, life started shitting on me between 2003-2005. My dad was killed in a car accident, my fiance was killed in a car accident a year after that. My job and my life in general was just shit. I kept stuffing my fat face to no end. It took a very mild stroke to wake me the fuck up. I peaked at 488 on September 13th 2006 after a visit to my doctor in which he just said I need to straighten the fuck up otherwise I'll die before I hit 30. I was 23 and I weighed 488lbs...

Over the last 2 years I've gotten serious about losing the fucking weight that's been the cause of my health problems and my social problems. I've received counseling for depression and all that shit but I know that the reason I got so fat was because I really loved to eat.

So I guess I just wanted to post and say I fucking did it with your help. Shit's awesome? y/y

Nice.

Keep going. Another year, another hundred pounds or so, and you'll be pretty good weight wise. Then you just need to start hitting the weights and getting back some of that muscle you've undoubtedly lost.

If you've lost 200 pounds so far, I think you'll be fine.

Keep it up.

Believe it or not. Listening to advice from here helped me change my diet and get into shape. That, and the mild stoke had something to do with me getting serious too. But you guys helped in a large way.

I'll have to pull some out. I know that before pics exist somewhere. The thing is I hated having pictures taken of me back then. I still do but at least I'm a little bit easier on the eyes.

Was your fiance as obese as you? The steering wheel probably got stuck in one of her tubby rolls of fat and she collided with someone right? She probably caused the accident and killed a child in it. She's the type of obese driver we need to keep off the roads. I'm glad she's dead.

Anyway, grats on the good work OP, I'd glad that I and the rest of /fit/ could help you improve you life. Keep it up!
