no. fast food is good for your body.

Kind of self-explanatory, no?

If you absolutely HAVE to eat fast food, your best bet would be to eat Subway, stay the FUCK away from fries, pop, and milkshakes. Mayonnaise and other types of condiments are quite bad as well.

Salt is a no, by the way.

Not really, but you should not abuse of fast food. Specially foods with high content of trans fat.

I dunno about losing weight, but I have to eat fast food at least once a day on the week days. I've been doing so for the past year now. Varies on what, sometimes Long John Silvers, Wendy's, KFC, Chik Fil A, Pizza Hut, list goes on. I run for 30 minutes for five days a week though. I know I haven't gain anything, but I think I actually lost a pound. I dunno though, may have just been wrong time of day to weigh myself.

For losing weight though, it's definitly recommended to not eat fast food, and to have a high fiber and protein diet. I don't want to say you can go back to fast food when you make your goal, but you can probably start eating again once a week if you wanted to.

My doctor told me Arby's is probably the only TRUE fast food [like, not sub sandwiches and stuff] that s ok, if you stay away from the fried crap.

Is this true?

Anyways, if you have to eat it I'd stick with just a sandwich ONLY, preferably grilled chicken or something. No shitty soft drinks or sweet tea either.

>I have to eat fast food at least once a day on the week days

Bullshit.

If you can't bring your own food from home, go to Jamba Juice or something.

This is very relevant to my interests considering I cannot cook.
What do you all think about Panda Express?
Fried Rice, Mandarin Chicken, and Black Pepper Chicken. I am skinny, atm, trying to gain weight and muscle and already have been working out but my diet consists of a bunch of Panda Express, turkey lunch meant on wheat bread with vegetables and triscuits, and breakfasts of oatmeal, bananas, eggs, and sometimes cold cereal (special K with strawberries).

Also, if I really don't want to cook is there no "fast food" or take out I can get that is somewhat healthy. I really don't mind paying abit extra to get some healthy meal instead of three bucks for some shit from McDonald's (just an example because I hate McDonald's).

I probably COULD make my own food, but I always wake up late from watching Conan, and have to rush out. Food is pretty cheap too, so who gives a shit. I'm not gaining fat, and shit is delicious anyway.

Keep making excuses faggot. That'll get you in shape.

If you are just getting started, there is no need to immediately change your diet 100% and eat only this and that blah blah blah.

Go to the websites for Taco Bell or Panda Express and look up the nutrition facts. Then the next time you are there, you will know to choose the Pepper Chicken because it has like 1/4 the calories of the Orange Chicken.

Make little changes like that a little bit at a time. That way, your weight loss isn't because of a diet, but because of lifestyle change.

One day you can get away from fast food altogether, but small steps are better than nothing at all.

I don't give a fuck. I already said that I'm already in good shape. I'm 5'10", 145 lb. Do I sound overweight at all? Fuck no! I've only proven that it isn't fucking fast food that is making this damn nation obese. It's lack of exercise.

I would say that both are making people fat and unhealthy.

Just because something doesn't make you fat doesn't mean it's not doing harm to your body.

I check regular check ups, blood tests, the whole nine yards. Everything is fine. And I'm not saying like eating a Whopper every day and exercising will keep you skinny. But even if you eat out, you can do it smart.

Thats just my point though.
I don't think I will EVAR get away from fastfood because I don't know how to cook and with such horrible cooking skills and no time/money to learn the only decent meal I can have is one from some type of restaurant/fastfood place.

Does every /fit/ person know how to fucking cook or what?

knowing how to prepare oatmeal or a sandwich isn't cooking

>>95633I have to eat fast food at least once a day on the week days.

Once a day? Are you shitting me? I loev fast food, but I can manage to limit it to once a week.

Buy energy bars, lots of them, if you're honestly too lazy to cook. They're not that good, but still better than fast food.

If you HAVE to eat fast food, eat Subway. You can actually get things that border on "healthy."

Get simple shit, like the chicken breast sub, don't put a ton of sauces or anything on it. Just wheat bread, chicken, veggies.

>>95996
subway is just as bad as taco bell...come on, meatball subs? chicken drenched in ranch dressing? steak and cheese? most of that shit has 500+ calories.

and the "low fat" sandwiches are a joke. in a 6" sub you will have consumed all of your sodium for the day.

Go on a Jared diet. Eat two subs a day. Within a week your blood pressure will be through the roof.
