Male, Age 21, 195 pounds.

Hey /fit/. When I do pushups, my wrist hurts. Kinda feels like someone has slammed me in the hands (parallel and along the bone line) with a steel pole. Obviously it's from half my body weight being on the arms.
Is this something I'll get over eventually, or should I see a doctor about it? Is it possible I'm doing pushups wrong?

wrap some tape around your wrists.....or maybe try dealing with the "pain" lol

the tape should brace your wrists more and divert the pressure

Wow. Apparently it could be a lot more serious. Thanks for all the help, you asses.

iv experienced some pain too, but what helps is using your weights as bars to do push ups. i can only do so much on my hands before my wrist and fore arm start to hurt. but iv also been doing forearm and wrist exercises to help with that. though i really don't want to risk fucking up my shit permanently.

Do pushups on your fists, pussy

I'm dead serious. It keeps your wrist straight.

If you have dumbbells you can hold them while they are on the floor. Works wonders.
