How do you motivate yourself to work out? It's easy for me to get started and at least go through the motions, but I want to really push myself to the limit to gain as much muscle as possible. Sometimes I just don't feel that drive. It was a lot easier when I was single and there was always some girl I really wanted to impress/fuck, but being in a long-term relationship I'm started to feel complacent and lazy.

TL;DR: How do you motivate yourself?

If you can't motivate yourself to work out you'll never make it as a doctor

No, but it's hard to find a pair of 42/32 or 44/32. I almost always have to get my jeans hemmed, which makes them look fucked up at the bottom because they sit strange on my shoes.

If I *kinda* want to run but I'm not really feeling it, I go change into my running clothes and shoes, and then there's no reason not to go.

I also take my dog. She runs with me for a couple of streets. Then I take her back home and finish running the neighborhood. She needs the exercise as much as I do.

Also, I always know that I'll feel better about myself after I exercise. Without that occasional boost, I feel like shit.

PROGRESS pics. Push yourself HARD for one month, then make a comparison pic.

You'll have good motivation to keep going after that.

Say to yourself that for every push-up one of your wishes will come true.

I can run for quite long lengths of time, but I find it SO boring sometimes.

I'd take my iPod to the gym but the headphones I have for it are useless for running (always falling out) and I need money for other things than headphones.

I remember once at one of my local gyms I was on the treadmill and they have TVs on them. Anyway, I was just about to get off it, feeling fucking exhausted, and suddenly the news started talking about an obesity crisis and pictures of fat, tubby children adorned the screen.

I cranked that bitch up to 12 and ran for another 10 minutes.
