A respiratory therapy class consists of 3 men and 57 women. What fraction of the students in the class are men? (Express your answer as a fraction reduced to lowest terms.)

I divided 3 and 57 but keep getting 1/19. the answer key says Im wrong. I hate nursing school.

You're probably forgetting to add the number of men and the number of women, and thus not working with the total class population.
3/57 would be your 1/19.
