Hey /fit/,

For the past few years I've been lifting weights regularly but recently I've had no motivation to go to the gym whatsoever. I'll go 4 or 5 days without going and then I'll only do a half-ass workout when I get there. It's just too boring. What can I do?

inb4 barrel roll, an hero, pooper, etc.

get a buddy to go with you
plan out a schedule ahead of time and stick to it
set alarms on phone/pda to make sure you go

quit being a pussy and just do it, or take energy supplements to get you into the mood of throwing weights around.

Well for me, when I'm usually really tired, I just force myself to do the first set. By the time I finish I get psyched up and motivated to finish the rest.

What's your goal, op? I'm psyched up every time I go to the gym because I want to get strong as fuck and every workout is one more step toward that.

You need a goal and a plan.
