Hey /fit/, I've heard of a game called Dance Dance Revolution, and have heard some stories about how people have lost weight. Is it a good form of exercise?

To answer your question, Yes It is pretty good excercise, if you play a SHIT LOAD.

I lost about 6-8 pounds playing ddr in my freshman year of Highschool, but that was when It was the golden years of its popularity, and every day I came home and played for 2 hours atleast.

If you don't love the game, and I mean love it. Then You will be better off doing a normal cardio routine. In fact, you should do both because playing that game will only get you so far.

but 6 pounds isn't small potatoes to some people. So yeah give it a try.

Just jump rope to Eric Pyrdez...god his music is soooo like catchy! Seriously though, jumping rope for any length of time, and diligently will shed the pounds faster than anything out there save for swimming or wrestling mexican aliens with Hep B.
