Since you're obese, right now all you really need to do is stop eating so much. How much do you weigh? Go find out what your BMR (basal metabolic rate) is and eat like 100 calories less than that.
If you want to start exercising now, walk for 20 min to an hour every day. You can't run right now because your immense fat will crush your knees. But if you do this exericse, DO NOT SAY "I walked for 25 minutes today, I can eat a slice of cake" because you can't. Walking doesn't burn a lot of calories, it will just get you prepared for heavier exercise when you get thinner.
