Hey /fit/..
Have any of you tried to change over to a polyphasic sleep cycle?

I'm a neet and I'm sure I could adapt into a polyphasic routine.
thing is I see no reason to or any benefits.

Rmember, if you do that sleep cycle, you really need to have something to do. Fortune 500 CEOs can do it because they have something really important to do.

Working out, or programming projects would be some examples...

I tried this out, actually, some time ago, for around two months.
it took about three weeks to get into the swing of it, which was basically a week of staying up, then when I became extremely (like really fucking drop dead tired) tired, lots of alarms for a couple of weeks.

and then school started and it all fucked up, but I thought it was kinda rubbish anyway.

Polyphasic sleep is not something you should be doing if you are working on building strenght or muscle.

Your body repairs itself when you sleep, and a good nights sleep is essential to full recovery. Human growth hormone is released by your body about an hour or two into sleep and it continues to be released for the next two or so hours.

Basically, dont fuck with your normal sleep cycle, go to sleep when it gets dark, wake up with the sun. Thats the best thing for your body.
