sup /fit/,
I need some answers. I have been working out for a while and decided to cut before I gain (I know it's recommended to gain and then cut, but I want abs to show first.) I am close to starting a gaining period... but I have no idea how to go about it so that my muscles will grow and fat stays little to none. How can I balance out diet and cardio to gain and stay fat-less?

look up keto diet on bb.com forums or the intarweb

tl;dr - cut carbs to a bare minimum or completely out of your diet for a few days, then eat carbs when you lift, repeat.

It will probably fail and is very unhealthy but it's the only real way. It will stress your body a lot and you will feel tired all the time though.
Honestly you did it wrong. You should do it properly and gain then cut.
Think of it like sculpting : you carve a statue out of a big stone no from gluing stones together.
