all about what you care, self image n such, get a wax or use a trimmer

If you've got some money, laser hair removal is the way to go.
>> Anonymous
if you're even asking that question you're a fag so you'd may as well shave it all. fag.
>> TheCodester
My parents were willing to pay the cost for lazer hair removal, (something like 2,000) because i expressed interest. Luckily I realized, and I hope you do too, that women really don't care, girls might, but women don't. And there are guys who WISH they could grow facial/body hair.

Seriously, just consider it, at the very least if you find a girl who you happen to fall in love with who despises body hair, you can always get it done then.

Take Pride.

Just for you to think about.

if this post is true, then it's an example of that competition mentality at its finest.

you are a fag.

If she despises body hair, then you shouldn't be with her in the first place. DUH!

Alot of guys are born without chest hair these days. Some think it's from all the medication in the water (women take birth control pills, and piss 90% of it out daily). It gets into our bodies either from ourselves drinking it, or our parents drinking it during our development phases.
So if it's a mutation, you're one step ahead of the game.
Me, I'd make the shave/no shave decision based soley upon comfort (not mental comfort, physical comfort)

I used to shave my chest.

And then I realized that shaving the chest is for bitches. Not I sport a manly pelt, and beard.

...still no bitches...but I feel more powerful.

Having your manhood is better than getting laid, but being a bitch and kow-towing to a girl's every whim.

I'm a swimmer, and I expose a large portion of my exterior on a daily basis. I have a fucking tiger chest, a hairy ass, and backne. None of these self-perceived flaws seem to bother good-looking women. In fact, quite the opposite it seems. Accept your manliness.

Unless you have, like me, a hairy back.
>> Anonymous
I've never heard of a woman rejecting somebody because of a hairy back. I mean, they might joke about it, but truth is, if they like you enough, they won't care.

Most women are pretty forgiving of a lot of the things you guys are self-conscious about. It's only a small percentage of hyper bitches that would let something so insignificant interfere and you don't want them in the long run anyway.

I do. I assume it culminates on your upper back, in which case you need to do something about that (I use Norelco bodygroom and a razor/tweezers). Anywhere else: don't touch that shit, metro/fag board is on /fa/.

The worst part is that it's patchy. Whatever, I'm getting it lasered next month.
>> Anonymous
>>416283
In case you don't know, the laser hair removal is going to take about 6 sessions. It only permanently removes hair in a certain growth stage, so you got to get lasered, wait a little bit until remaining hair has a chance to grow, get lasered again, rinse, repeat.
>> Anonymous
>>416289
depends on what area you are getting lasered, what clinic, and your skin type

for me, I'm getting my full beard area removed, which is about 11 treatments, 7ish weeks apart, 2k in cost

yay for not having to cut up my face every single day for the rest of my life

also, guys have a higher tolerance of pain and get distracted easier(biting on a stick, ooo shiny, ooo cleavage, etc) so it's much easier for guys - however, the facial and genital areas will make you involuntarily cry because of the pain, it can be that intense.

good luck on the lasering
protip: NEVER EVER EVER go when you're sick. pain is about 3x worse.

I want to get my pubes lasered off as it gets quite uncomfortable a day after shaving when regrowth starts to occur.
>> Anonymous
>>416322

yea, they do it do, a front brazilian might be 2k, both front and back would be maybe 2.5k - then again, depending on the place you go. for lasering, the quality is worth it. you don't want stuff growing back later, or them tossing you out the door when it's obviously not done

What's the pain equivalent? Is it comparable to waxing? Tweezing? I have an epilator that I tried to use down there once but it hurt like hell so I just use it on my pits and legs.

>>416344

Dunno, haven't done it in that area, but I'm doing the beard area. the first treatment was suspiciously pain-free, like the "rubber-band" feeling they sell you on. After the 3rd treatment(they increase the power of the laser as you go through treatments) I was crying because I could barely take it. Even though the laser is only active for like 1/2 a second, it felt like it was searing my skin off, and I was reflexively pulling back every time so she had to hold my head down.

However, the hair density changes things. It doesn't feel like anything if there are no hair follicles there, so you may get lucky if the hair is already sparse. You can always call them and ask them about the pain sensitivity for that area. Otherwise, good luck bro

I should also mention that they warned me that it was going to hurt and they told me the beard area is one of the worst for guys, as they seem to "hold" onto the hair longer, that's why I've got about 11 treatments instead of 6 or 7.

>>416347
Good description of the process. They are basically microcooking the first few layers of epidermis to destroy the follicles.

Can I ask what your skin tone and hair color are? I hear it works best on pale skin with dark hair. I am half middle eastern so my skin is tannish but I do have really dark hair. I don't think it will be too much of a problem since there is still a huge contrast.

I think I may just get the bikini line done and deal with the rest of the area the old fashioned way. I can imagine my tolerating a rubber-band feeling that close to my vagoo.

I'm 25% irish, 25% french, 25% german - so basically a white guy. I burn easily and get freckles. My normal hair color is dark brown.

They do is a consultation and go over everything like that to figure out if it's a viable solution for you. But also keep in mind it's a business - they want your money, however they will be upfront and tell you what the pain will be like.

Good luck

random stuff, I'm american

oh, by the way - the area is MUCH better looking afterwards, like porn star quality, the skin is softer, smoother(obviously), firmer, etc

i have never seen someone male with a complete hairless body before. in real life.

>>416435

I like to be hairless from the neck down - wait, actually scratch that, I like to have even, good looking hair on my arms, back, legs - and hair that doesn't look like it changes the color of my skin. Otherwise no hair anywhere else, except maybe ass hair(I've heard horror stories).

I wouldn't mind being completely hairless from the neck down, but I don't think I would pay for the lasering of my whole body for it, as it's about $10-12k.

>>416730
I basically agree, but here's the problem

Where do you stop your arm hair? Despite the fact that I havent tried lasering... I face this problem when shaving/waxing/anything.

Where does nasty upper arm hair end, and logical normal lower arm hair begin?

Where does shoulder hair turn into chest hair?
>> Anonymous
Right. I've got a beard and moustache which stops dead around two inches below the jaw line. Body hair starts on my toes and feet as thick and black, brown and thinner on my legs and kind of fades out to blonde as it goes up, around and over my thighs and then darkens up back to black for the pubic area. I've got it going up my stomach then lighter and thinner then darkening and thickening to the centre of my chest but it thins out and lightens again for the rest of the chest, shoulders and darkens again for the upper arm, forearm and hands.

I've got hairy toes and fingers and even think I don't have enough body hair. Who the hell pays to get it permanently removed?

nobody WISHES to grow shoulder and or back hair you dumb shit.

chest hair, leg hair, arm hair all fine.

but no skinny hairless fag like you goes to sleep and says "Dear jesus, please let me grow hair on my shoulders and back, please"

I have manly body hair. It's not monkey style all over, but it's not 17-year old boy either. It's actually quite a lot like>>415810.

Fuck yeah genetic victory. Now if I only weren't fat...

To be honest, I use both porn and celebrities for good ideas. If I happen to have either a lot of hair or dark hair, what I'll do is trim most of it and then go with specific removal spots

The way you describe your hair's variations in thickness and color in a trip around your body is actually very mellifluous and somewhat hypnotic.

If you get laser hair removal in the genital area it will be VERY painful. I had a pilonidal cyst just below my tailbone, and to prevent any future incidents I decided to get laser hair removal in the region between my tailbone and buttthole.

They told me it word hurt because I have very dark hair (the darker the hair the more painful because the laser basically kills the pigment). I went for my first treatment and they asked if I wanted any numbing gel put on. I said let me see how it feels so they obliged. They use the laser for just a quick pulse so the pain is intense but subsides rather quickly. The only problem is that they do about ten to fifteen bursts in a row. So you don't really have time to catch your breath in between zaps. What worked for me best was to hold on to the head rest and tense up really tight and hold me breath until they were done with a set. The next six treatments I always asked for the numbing gel even though it didn't help that much.

In the end I would say that it is worth it, but if your getting it done in a sensitive region you might want to have a few beers before hand.
