I am 6 foot 3, 190 lbs.
I run a 7:30 mile
I have a keg, not a six pack
I am under 20 years old
I have roll marks

I eat Taco Bell a lot
I eat Fast Food in general a lot

would a bagel be a nice alternative to fast food?
>> Anonymous
7:30 mile my ass, chubbs!

seriously, its not fucking rocket science:

You either do your time exercising and eat right

OR

Enjoy no change

Cut the soda, fuck taco bell and fast food. If you're gonna eat it, try to downsize your portions. Look at the back of a can of soda - 200 or so calories. Shit adds up.

And for christ sakes if you're gonna snack, pick some good, low cal shit

Heh. No, really. I can run a 7:30 mile, but I did a 7 mile marathon and got 10:00 miles, which is very shameful.

7:30 mile isn't fast... I'm not a great runner and I run a 6:30.

As for OP, eat Taco Bell or fast food once a week. Make that your special eating day. But limit yourself for the rest of the week. I used to be at least as fat as you and I'm not anymore.

I'm not saying it's good. That was one of that stats I used to show how much of a fattie I am.
**Acts as if this is an after school special**
Kids, this is what you do when you quit sports and decide to stick with drawing. Don't fuck up like I did.

If you have any worries about going cold turkey on fast food then dont, cut it down to once a week. And a bagel isnt that great to be honest, I mean its the equivalent of 5 pieces of bread, a couple a week wouldnt be bad as long as you dont load it with cream cheese or anything.

What would be?

So what I've gathered...
1. Goodbye Fast Food and cut out Soda (Replace with Fuze? and of course water)
2. I need to work out (would running 5 miles every other day suffice with doing 200+ crunches twice a day?)
3. ?????
4. Profit

(thanks for your guys suggestions, any more would be greatly appreciated)

alright alright

Listen, I used to be 205 poundsat my peak, I'm 6'1

I'm down to a steady 165. I was able to downsize to 180 with mild-moderate exercise, eliminating sodas, and by some miracle, I just felt like eating less. I still ate, tried to snack as little as possible.

When I go to a buffet or something, I plate a little bit of everything and don't rush it. That works for me, but the biggest revelation is to learn to say no - YOU DON'T HAVE TO POLISH OFF THE WHOLE PLATE

With more exercise and continued watch, I've attained 165.

Also, your worst enemy is that feeling near the end of the meal where you think you want more, but you know you'll just feel bloated and disgusted. I came up with a creative and fun way to overcome it -

take the remaining food and decimate it. Got a bit of cake you're not sure you should eat? Pulverize some leftover main course onto it so you won't (and wont want to) eat it! Or you could dump a drink on it/ squash it with a plate, etc.

You might think it's immature or stupid, but I find it gives my body a little time to realize it's full. It helps when you're feeling a little weak on willpower. Sometimes it's best to eliminate an option all together!

to actual food? Sounds unhealthy...

Watch those calories too, bud. Cutting sodas can save you an assload.

Also, be reasonable. You can do whatever course you put your mind to, but if you can't keep it up, it's not worth a damn. I'm talking only salad and water diets and shit - fuck that. Cutting by a few hundred calories a day is easier and healthier than getting results quick from near starvation, only to abandon it later and revert.

Not to mention said diet would be fucking miserable.

so the main priority is to cut out those unnecessary cals?
Thanks.

You need more upper body strength..

Do push ups. Lots of them. Combine that with running. You mentioned running 5 miles every other day--that sounds like a lot! It's easy to quit when you're doing too much. Start slow to avoid injury.

Cut fast food to once a week, don't eat a lot of bagels because they're pretty high in calories and nutritionally void.

Push ups, pull ups, sit ups, running. You can get weights and join a gym if that doesn't do it for you, but that alone there will tone you up and cut fat at the same time.

thank you very much for the info.
Yeah, I have no strength really, I might be able to bench 125 lbs. ;_;

Unrelated, and not OP, but:

I'm in a worse situation than OP, same height and 60 pounds heavier. I just bought a bike (OP of Walmart bike thread over on /n/), and I plan to ride it as much as I can, as that's the only exercise I can stand to do. Running is hard on my already-bad knees, and situps are fucking boring. Biking is fun as shit.

Anyway, I digress. Once I lose the weight (I'm thinking I can get myself down to around 200 with no real problem, and to 160-170 if I work hard at it.), what's a good way to get rid of stretch marks? I've heard preggos say that shea butter shit works, but these are srs stretch marks here. Almost to the point of scarring. Any tips?

get an exercise bike. There are going to be days when it is too hot/cold outside and you won't want to ride your bike. Ride it at a relatively fast speed for at least 20 minutes. Don't worry, you'll get better at it and it will get easier.

Also, definitely lift weights. I'm 5'9" and 155lbs. I go for relatively high reps, and I take short rests (30-40 seconds.)

You need to eat right too. Don't even think about cutting out fatty foods or soda or whatever completely, because it will not work. You have to learn how to eat balanced instead. Cut the junk food down to once a week. If you're hungry before bed then just chug a protein shake. Mix it with WATER (juices are packed with sugars/calories etc.) You will get used to it with water, trust me.

here

I feel ya bud. HAET BENCHAN

When I was descending to 165, I didn't do... I think ANY benching. I'd run 2 or 3 times a week, only for about a lil over 2 miles.

More frequently, though, living in a dorm, I'd do some no weights stuff. Pushups - grab a couple chairs to descend further if you want. Situps - duh. Laying on your back, raise your legs straight (jacknife was it?), scissor kicks. Also, some dips! grab a chair, heels on the ground, palms on the chair (back to chair), and do dips.

Also, if you can find a pullup bar, that will get you burning. Work those lats!

What you need is motivation.

Watch this over and over again until you want to do push ups until your bitch tits melt off.

>>127007chug a protein shake. Mix it with WATER (juices are packed with sugars/calories etc.)

-_- Yeah, cause nothing does a body better than a protein/fat/calorie bomb right before you hit the sack.

and don't you give me that shit about 1.5 protein ratio. I doubt these guys are going to come screaming and tearing up the weight room like some roidhead and I'm sure they don't want to bulk right now.

Drink some diet green tea (good for metabolism) and pick something LOW calorie

I'd say suck it up and save the hunger for breakfast, but smaller meals are better for metabolism

Start drinkin a gallon of water a day. Run 5 miles everyday of the week. No fast food. Eating healthy is easy - the only way i could see it being hard is if you area gluttunous fat fuck which you are. Learn to hate food, only eat it to further carve your physique into the proportions of a greek god. Try to still take in at least 2500 calories a day from food. Above all EXERCIZE + A GOOD DIET will allow anyone to develop a gangstas physique. you are lazy and fat. i was once too. change your ways brotha and you will not be sorry. yes i once looked like you. did the diet and exercize thing (still do) and got to 150 pounds at 6 foot 1. Now ive gotten laid 25+ times SOLELY because of my physique if that tells you anything.
