So /fit/ I'm currently working out trying to lose fat I was wondering if what I'm doing is helping. My routine that I've just started is:25 Squats15 Push Ups25 Crunches (extending my right elbow past my left knee and left elbow past my right knee).5 sets in that order. All of this is with just body weight and no breaks in between. Will this help me lose weight?
Forgot to mention I'm 5'11" and weigh around 175lbs. Most of my fat is on my stomach.
you should try doing some cardio...dance or something
Run, a mile before and after. Then when you can still stand after workout, repeat.
>>393903I've heard people talk about running for 30 minutes rather than a mile. I could run a mile in way under 30 minutes, so which would I be better off doing?
>>393911The one that is easier for you. Never listen to others about how many/much you should do when it comes to fitness. You know your body best.
>>393941>The one that is easier for you.THIS. Never take yourself out of your comfort zone. Never push yourself. You won't see benefits from it.
>>394086This is a very cute response. It's written in a way that betrays little to no sarcasm.Run for thirty minutes when you can. Sweat, dammit. If you're not sweating heavily then you're doing it wrong.
I think I'll try to run for a time rather than a distance because distance would get easier, but running for a certain time would stay at around the same difficulty. So besides running and what I'm doing is there anything else I should do?
>>393911>run a mile in way under 30 minutesWait. THere are people who set that as a goal? I walk two and half miles in 30 minutes weekly to get somewhere.
>>394330I dont think anyone can have that goal...1mile is like 1.7km jeus christ, that's like 5-6min running
