Dear /fit/,

Whey protein is fucking awesome. Normally, after a gym session, it takes 2-3 days for my muscles to stop being sore.

Last night, I tried taking 500mL of 2% milk and mixing it with 40g of Whey protein mix, and drank it after my workout.

I woke up today and my muscles weren't sore at all. Fucking win.

son, you'll find that as you work out more often, the soreness goes away whether you're taking whey or not. soreness is an introductory gift to weightlifting.

I stopped getting really sore awhile back... I miss it.

I doubt after several months, it decided to go away the night I started taking whey.

If you've been sore for several months, you're doing it wrong.

Me too. But then again, I'll be entering my mid-30s in a few years, so I get to look forward to soreness again.

You guys should take a 1-2 week break, then you get sore muscles once you hit the gym again

If I do the same exercises everyday I go to the gym, then yes, my muscles aren't sore.

But I try to make it a habit to do a different set of exercises for a particular part of the body each time I go to the gym. And this usually leads to soreness.
