Alright, /fit/. The gentlemen of /r9k/ recommended I see you guys, so here it goes.

I want to lose weight like every other fat guy here. I'm 5'9, and approx. 225 lbs. I prioritize losing weight above gaining muscle mass, which I figure I can start focusing on once I slim down a bit. So what I'm here for is perhaps a routine you might be able to offer. I have access to a gym (albeit a small local place, nothing too fancy), a pool, and plenty of room to walk/run. What do you suggest I start doing and strive for?

Also, recommend any advice you'd have on foods as well. I have a fat-free yogurt in the mornings usually (approx. 100-something calories), and the rest of the day I eat whatever. I don't eat a lot though.

Lift and do cardio vascular. The more muscle you have, the more fat you burn. I suggest doing Rippetoe's Starting Strength (available on many torrent sites fyi) and doing swimming/medium intensity jogs on the days you don't lift.

Ketosis would be best suited for you methinks! Research it!
