I am sure that many of you do this same thing, you'll work out a lot for a year or two, get worn down and take a bunch of time off. It's really relaxing actually, my body doesn't ache, my attitude sometimes even improves, it isn't as hard to bounce back close to where you were at.

But getting going again is always tough at first.. usually there has to be a catalyst. Post some things that get you into the gym.

Year or two? More like weeks, then take a half week to a week break and start over.

SQUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATZ

Sometimes I don't want to go the gym. At those times I remember how much I love doing squats. Weight pressing on your back, your legs moving up and down...oh what great ecstasy. The simple though of such joy sends me sprinting to the gym. I caress each metal weight as I slip it on the small slender metal poll. When I put the newly weighted poll on my back I stand and scream as I lose my mind in squating. Some people might look at me but I don't care. I feel like nothing matters anymore. I squat and stand, stand and squat, my screams fill the gym. But alas, all good things must come to an end. I place the beautiful metal bar back on its rack and wipe the sweat from when we were one. It's hard to stand and my legs feel numb, but it feels good. I walk home with a smile on my face.
