Alright, /fit/ here's my story-
About a year and a half ago I decided I wanted to be a vegetarian and it seemed like a good way to lose weight, so I become a dieting vegetarian at about 5'8" and 200 lbs. I got no exercise and ate very, very little of anything and next to no protein. In less than a year I'm down to 129 lbs and still really fat, having as close to zero muscle as one can have. At this point I didn't really care about muscle so I figured I'd keep on eating 1500 calories a day (I'm not a chick, just an idiot) and the rest of the fat would go away. Unfortunately I began to gain weight. So looks like a fucked up pretty good, and I didn't know what I was doing so I guess I got what I asked for. So here I am now with what I assume is a dead metabolism and after a bit of research I decided what was going to help me achieve my goal was muscle, so I'm eating meat again for the protein. I haven't started working out yet but I assume this is the right thing to do...what does /fit/ think? (sorry about the pic, very unrelated)
