Sup /fit/

I am 19, and female. I have been working out my whole life, mostly ballet. However, I recently tried to do a stress test on some of the things I do at home, ie crunches and the like, and I felt extremely ill afterward. Still do, in fact.

Does this mean something is wrong with my diet, or I just took the stress test too far? All I see when I search google for this is bullshit about fast food poisons making me feel sick. Also, I'm vegan.

Ballet is a workout now? So what, specifically, did you do? A bunch of crunches, leg extensions, and so on? It's not unusual to feel queasy after pushing yourself harder than usual. I doubt your diet did this to you, although that doesn't mean it's not wrong.

ballet is a workout.

you probably worked different muscles than what you do with ballet. you prob. took the test farther than your current stamina thats all.

also i dont know much about this, but since you are a vegan, are you getting the right amount of proteins from other sources?

In ballet terms: Releves, plies, arabesques, pas de chat, so on and so on. I did 10 leaps, but they're simple.

Others:
Crunches, sit ups, reverse crunches (all the stomach work may have been the problem)
Supermans or whatever they're called now
Push ups
SQUATZ SQUATZ SQUATZ

Also, ballet is as much a workout as running/walking. You sweat, you breathe heavily, you move muscles. Fuck, how high can YOU run and leap into the splits, mother fucker?

Yes, I'm very careful about my protein.

it just sounds like over exertion.
i recently experienced that when i did a fasted run (ran as soon as i woke up, no breakfast) the morning after i did a late night lifting session. felt like vomiting the whole day.

You probably have a low work capacity.

If you were to jog or do something that required you to gulp air; how long could you do it for?

You may have engaged flight/fight type situation, I would suspect your stomach stopped grinding food temporarily.
