i just installed a pullup bar in my door way and i tried doing them and all i can do is 2 full pullups no cheating shit. how can i increase?

Put a stool underneath and spot yourself. Help on the way up, super slow with no help on the way down.

Do two multiple times per day. Do them whenever you walk into or out of your room. Keep trying on the third and it will come eventually.

Also do push-ups, bicep curls and shoulder presses. Pull-ups use almost the entirety of your upper back and upper arms, as well as some chest muscles. Working these muscles will help with pullups.

I'm in the same boat. I just started and I could only do like 3. So whatever, I'd do 3 sets of 3. After two days I'm doing 3 sets of 4.

So ah, just keep doing what you can and eat right.

Push ups? Shoulder presses? You list workouts focusing on assisting muscles (pectoralis minor, deltoid muscle) but nothing that works out the lats?

Basically do bent over/single arm rows and curlz. You'll OWN at chinning instantly. Also do Pushups and shoulder presser cause they're great too.

"Set a bench, or block under the pull-up bar.
Position it so that you can push your body up with your leg.
The idea
is that after failure, you can use your leg to push your body up to the bar,
and cheat on the positive ("up") portion of the pull-up.
However, to make this technique useful at all,
this means extra emphasis on the negative (lowering) portion of the exercise.
Try for 5-15 second descent, and shoot for at least 5 forced reps per set!"
