Hey /fit/ I'm a healthy guy around 5"10 with a sporty figure, nice abs. But I'm thin and can't seem to add mass on my arms. My legs are fine because I'm a climber, but my arms don't seem to bulk up. I think I'm eating right, any ideas on diet/technique?

I obviously don't want to be huge, but some sort of proportion to the rest of me. Nicely toned, not too outrageous. (God is there a way of saying that without coming of as an ass?)

Pic is not me, kind of similar I guess.

protip: the word "tone" here is akin to "i suck cocks", it pretty much transliterates directly from english to /fit/

arms are probably the easiest fucking thing to gain mass on for anyone. even when i was in starvation mode, i gained mass on my arms.

just lift as heavy as you can. if you can do over 6 reps, you're lifting too light. easy as that.

if you just want to be toned do pullups and dips until you can hit 20-30 in a set. then progress to muscle ups and more advanced pullups. these work nearly everything in the upper body and are a good way to make basic gains. if you want to really sculpt beyond that you will need to use more targeted isolation exercise.

Train harder and eat more, oh and probably say goodbye to your abs, cuz when it comes to eating it's better safe than sorry

What would one have me say?

The reason it makes you sound like an ass is that no one just suddenly gets RIPPED beyond what they were shooting for. It's fucking retarded to say you want to be "just toned". SO STOP WHEN YOU GET WHAT YOU WANT.

There's no magical Gain Muscle In The Perfect Places but Not an Ounce of Fat diet.

Ehm, no shit? If you read what I had said you'd realise I didn't ask that. I asked to proper techniques to build on my arms.

Don't give me the high and mighty bullshit, I'm a semi-pro climber, I work hard as shit getting what I need.
