I dont curl, i tried to test my 1RM and it was about 40lbs (dumbell) each arm.

They are for faggots and do not provide a necessary cause, go tan yourself and get a queer haircut

i know you're joking, but that hurt my brain

I can do about 70 on the EZ bar for 16 reps, but on a preacher bench doing the 35s wrecks me after only about 8 reps.

My problem is that I have very long arms in general. Makes it hard as hell to do arm exercises.

Curlz are incredibly functional, you carry shit in your arms all the time.

heavy ass curls are great once you start benching 1.5-2x your bodyweight

Using dumbells I curl ~25kg an arm for 3x8

So, 110 on a barbell in your ancient measurement system?

Before I was a full-time college student, I would do a pretty strenuous workout which would include 3 sets of 10 reps at 100lbs on the ez-bar. I would also do 3 sets (palms down, reverse, and facing inward [towards body]) with 25lb dumbells on a bench 45deg. incline sitting, 90deg. sitting, and standing. KILLER.

I fail to see how the second workout is at all difficult if you can do the first. I call bullshit.
>> gay
lul, i actually saw a dude curling in the power rack for the first time yesterday. Shit was so cash.

The thing is, you rotate. 10 reps of the 100, then 10 reps in each of the 3 positions. Go do some pushups or hell, squats or leg presses or sprint on a treadmill for 30 seconds. 30 second break, and then do the next set. It will kick your ass.
