I'm looking to get into Yoga (or something akin to) for relaxation, calming and flexibility purposes.

I have very little time, but I would love to make some. I'm quite athletic, so nothing is really out of the question as far as that goes, but less intensity is greater as I play soccer/football almost every day.

And I am a poor student.

Are there any good websites out there?

Thanks!

Links to Tai-Chi and Yoga exercises would be greatly appreciated.

Skip yoga, your joints will be weakened.

Don't listen to this mook. Yoga movements are ideal for total body health and control (yes even joints)

I have a set of movements I learned in a University theater class that fucking rule.

Click around and find some tutorials, be sure to do only the most basic movements first, and do them ALOT! More often then not a basic movement will only be a strengthening proxy to a much more intense movement.

Thats about it, except one thing:

Do them alone, most of them, albeit very healthy, look very...very...VERY gay.

Google "Happy baby".

tai-chi would be perfect - it's relaxing, calming, and increases functional flexibility. it teaches movement patterns that will carry over to the sports you play.

you need an actual teacher, though - can't be learned from vids. there are teachers everywhere.
