What do you use to flavor your oatmeal? Personally I add 1 table spoon of honey (100% natural) and I find it quite delicious that way, but I'm open to more suggestions.

Peanut butter is win for oatmeal, although it's extremely fattening, which negates a lot of the health benefits that oatmeal has. Honey is great. When adding sugars to oatmeal, be sure to use brown sugar, and maple syrup. The malt flavor blends much better with oatmeal than white sugar.

Frozen blueberries! I keep a few tubs in the freezer, so I don't worry about them spoiling. I just toss a few tablespoons in. Something like 10 grams of fructose, and a bevy of antioxidants!

Oatmeal is an excellent source of beta-glucan. Useful for preventing/combatting diabetes because it controls blood sugar. And oatmeal is full of fiber, which means it keeps you full longer and lowers your cholesterol.
