Okay /fit/, I'm sure we've all thought about this before. Does wearing wrist and ankle weights 24/7 effectively make you stronger at everything? If not, do they have any benefit at all?

wondering the same thing

I've heard that this can fuck up your knees.

Not noticably. You're better off wearing a backpack full of rocks or a weighted vest.

I remember reading about someone from here who wore ankle weights for a long period of time being able to kick harder. That just may be bullshit though.

It's been proven that using wrist weights and ankle weights can turn you into a super sayan.

What if after your body adapted to the weights (would it adapt?) you added heavier weights, and so on

Leg weights are only good for those aerobic-style exercises where you're on all-fours hiking a leg up or back...and you have to wear a leotard too.

If you wanna be Rock Lee than squats are the way to go. I don't see how ankle weights would be any better than weight training. Same with wrists.

Its inefficient
the time you will be spending working out( 24/7) compared to the strenght gained afterall wont worth it.
theire ugly and unconfortable
