Hay /fit/ I am 6'2 and 263 pounds. My doctor has told me that I am a fat fuck and must lose 40-60 pounds, at the rate of 1-2 pounds a week. I've started eating healthier, smaller portions, more fish and vegetables, but I need to start exercising.
I also have moderate asthma which makes it difficult to breathe after running about 300 meters.
What exercises do you recommend?

Cardio - elliptical machines
Weight training - get a trainer to lay out a routine for you. start light. work up.

join a gym and do low impact exercises. running really isn't good for folks carrying a lot of extra weight. does damage to the knees and joints.
try spinning or cycling, a rowing machine (a real erg, not those flippy lever pieces of shit) and free weights or a universal gym.

thats my suggestion fwiw

when does your asthma inflame?

certain foods are bad for asthma.

I never did a formal test lactose intolerance, or other related intolerances, but i swear it cleared away when i got rid of cow milk and cheese. fuck it being on the god damned food pyramid. i breath clearer through nose, and throat hasn't felt constricted ever since I removed it from my major diet over a year ago. had god damn asthma for fucking 20 years before. pissed me off i never knew.

please don't mix pounds and meters. You are confusing me and I won't be able to help you that way.
