continued** So now fast forward to now. It's summer again, and I'd like to loose more weight. I'd like to feel comfortable taking my shirt off at a pool or something.
So heres my plan...I've been doing reaserch, through google and by browsing the hell out of these forums...
I was thinking of alternating between my regular cario (the one with the treadmill and the increases in incline and speed) and HIIT. So say, mon is reg, tues is HIIT. I've done more reaserch, and came across a plan that uses the excercise bike and is for 10 mins ( not including warm up and warm down)
Then, I basically think I should keep my current weight lifting routine, but mix it up a bit (by using different machines, different free weights, etc) this plan was given to me by my junior teacher, an Ex Football coach.
I also decided to start a "diet" so to say. Now, I don't plan to give up all fast food, or cakes, or anything like that. Why? Because I'm looking for a lifestyle change, not just a diet. I think that if I were to only eat veggies and fruits, I'd go crazy. So I AM going to have the occasional sweet, but not as I do now.
I'm pretty sure I eat enough fruits. Maybe too much. but I KNOW I don't eat enough veggies.
I've also browsed and found a program called Fitday. Downloaded it and installed it, and basically it told me I should limit my calories to 2500 ~.
So...here are my questions...
1.) Does my above plan seem ok? Or am I doing something horribly wrong? 2.) I used to do my reg cardio everyday. I'm worred that if I do HIIT I'll only be burning ~200 calories, whereas with reg Cardio I used to burn ~400 calories. Should I be worried, or will the added benefits of HIIT outweight the loss of burned calories?
Pic Related; I used to be between 4 and 5. Currently, I'm around 6. I'd be good with 7, but I'd LOVe to be 8.
HALP!
