>>428958 "Whole wheat" is no better for you. Basic theory is that the milling process creates a flour that's fine enough to have a better insulin spike than sugar. "Whole wheat with the germ" is probably what you want--and good luck with that in bun form. After learning that "Whole wheat" is just un-bleached flour, I now take the white bun... and toss it.
