I have a problem motivating myself to exercise. I keep telling myself "Ok tommorow I'm gonna do it" and never do.

How do you motivate yourself and stop yourself from giving up midway?

I look at my self in the mirror and ask my self "am I satisfied"?
The answer is always "NO"
Then I throw down some caffeine,and l-arginine for a little boost.

I guess I'm one of those lucky reforming fatfags who never really needed to be motivated to burn lard. Turns out that it really was just a question of priorities.

Guess it also helped that I made the right decision in uni not to pursue a libarts faggotry course, so I now have a decent job that pays well enough so I could buy a mid-range treadmill and afford a gym membership.

Life is starting to get really good and I intend to live the ever-loving fuck out of it in shape before I die. The genetic lottery might screw you up, but you can screw it back thrice as hard with determination... and SCIENCE!

ask yourself why you want to exercise. your answers are your motivation. some possible reasons for exercising are decreasing your risks for certain diseases such as heart disease, relieving stress, strengthening your mind and body, improving your self-esteem ....

Set an alarm, my mobile tells me what days to go to the gym and when not to.

If you havn't been to the gym for a week or so then you go back you get such a great rush. Im going again tonight i actually missed the gym that much

Music. Also because I had some motivation to go to start with, and now it is just habit.

Or I take someone. I've had real trouble staying on the treadmill for longer than 20 minutes for my distance run, rather than my speed training, but I take someone and try to grind them into the dirt. Great motivation. You will always, even if they are a complete stranger, with spindly limbs and a drip attached to them, work harder with others around you.

Look online for a book called "feed the muscles, burn the fat". It helped me set goals a couple of years ago and it has a very realistic approach eating and working out, instead of feeding you bullshit experimental ideas that only work for a tiny subset of the population.

Just do it for yourself. You have a potential to fulfill. Academically, mentally, work-related, physically, etc. If you don't reach your potential, you're wasting your life. Would you rather waste your life, which is finite and limited, or live it to the max? It's not a hard question. Just remember that. Also, DON'T do it for women. You lose motivation quickly, trust me. Also, thank you for the accuracy of the text in your pic. It helps me sort out the good single women from the idiots and the undesirable, albeit physically attractive ones.
