I just bought a new bench but my old bar doesn't fit and rests on the threads (its the smaller diameter), all of the bars I have measured (also small diameter) aren't big enough either, do I have to buy a new large diameter bar and new weights also? ps where is a good place to buy weights, they all seem to go for about a dollar a lb.

craigslist is the best... keep your eye out for ads, then bargain. people will more or less let you take them away for free so they don't feel like guilty fatasses every time they walk by the dusty pile in their garage
