how's your gym music?

here they just turn on the radio and mainstream stuff like rihanna, coldplay, akon plays.

it is tolerable when groovy stuff plays, but when i hear the words ''baby, i love you, without you..'' i just want to eat the sound system. in other words, i react negatively, but as the gym owners says, it's like that to appeal to the female audience of the gym.

Ideally there would either be no music, or discreet trance music.

I used to listen to melodic metal, often focused on intense drums, and it always made my heart pump a little harder when I was working out.

Nothing motivates you like an overgrown german screaming at you when you life weights.

My gym plays stuff from "The 90s and the hits of today!"

I work there. I hear "I KISSED A GIRL, AND I LIKED IT" about 50 times in about 10 hours.

It's XM though, and I change the station when I work by myself.

As for me, I bring an iPod, and I usually listen to metal or hardcore.
