Sup /fit/,

I had glandular fever about a year and a half ago and am still having problems with it.

A couple of weeks ago I went skiing. I felt pretty energetic and made sure to eat/drink a lot more than I usually would. I skiied Sunday to Wednesday, then on Wednesday night I had a fever, spleen pain, couldn't move out of bed, thought I was going to die e.t.c.

I slept throughout Thursday and recognised that I was suffering the exact same symptoms I had for glandular. The problem is I'm going skiing again in two weeks and don't want a repeat. What can I do to prevent this?

tl;dr: Going skiing soon, don't want to get shitty glandular fever symptoms.

you're body needs more rest now. don't overdo it in the first few days.
you may think you don't need to stop but you actually do.
also... why the fuck are you skiing in august?
