Is it better to work out 2 or 3 times a week VERY intensely, or work out 5-6 times a weak at a moderate intensity. No difference?

Imagine there is no difference in food intake/which muscles are worked.

5-6 times moderately. It's just like eating, you don't want to eat 1 huge meal every day, rather 4-6 small meals.

Do HIIT every other day.

and your muscles, even your leg muscles, will still heal?

why would you even waste your time at the gym to workout with moderate intensity???

IT depends on what you're doing. You didn't really specify, but I'm guessing by "work out" you mean weight/resistance training.

If you're training different muscle groups, then 5 days a week is okay as long as you keep the calories up.
If you're doing more or less the same muscle groups, then it's better to go 2 or 3 times a week and let the muscles repair.

I mean if you run for HIIT.

ahh I don't go to the gym.

Workout is pretty much dumbell presses, flyes, deadlifts, curls
pushups
crunches
I know this sounds retarded but SQUATTZ without weights (don't have the equipment... unless you can do them with dumbells which is pretty hard).
light cardio

yeah I know it's not exactly what /fit/ recommends but it's better than nothing. If there's anything useful I can add please tell me.

If you sleep and eat properly, do what you want. Workout just goes slower with musclepain.

true, but working through DOMS improves pain tolerance and mental endurance
