Sup /fit/.

I am unfit.
I would like to become fit.

I am not overweight.
I go for a 1.7 - 2 kilometer run around 4-5 times a week. I do virtually no upper body excercise.

Help me out, plez?

No, you are just too used to /b/ where threads get 100 responses in 3 seconds

Hmmm, ok. I'll just gently bump this and start praying.

i heard that lifting heavy things lots of times makes you stronger, i think it's a rumour though. we could put some heavy things like on the end of a stick, but to balance it out we'll put heavy things on the other end too... maybe we'll call it a heavystick.

I've heard there's a bunch of guys out there on a series of information tubes that have knowledge that can make becoming stronger both safer and more efficient.

i think there's also a place in real life where people go to make themselves stronger i think it's called a stronghouse

If you're fat:
(1) run 3x a week & (2) do weights 2x a week.
If you're thin:
(1) do weights 3x a week & (2) run 2x a week.

-Always try & beat your previous record.
-Always eat correctly.
-Realise one day doing nothing is a day lost.
-Realise one day doing exercise is bringing you closer to your goal.

1.7 - 2 km is not a lot, but I guess the pace you're running at can compensate a little. You should definitely try lifting weights and increasing the intensity of your cardio.

Since you mention a lack of training equipment, you got a few choices 1) buy some weights and benches, 2) join a gym, or 3) do bodyweight exercises (google it).
