I'm a kickboxer and I think I may have something wrong with one or both of my rotator cuffs. It feels as if they're a bit out of place - there's no pain, just a bit of numbness in one of them. Also, when I try to set my back flat against anything my shoulder blades hit and it feels as if they're raised off of the surface of my back and I can't get them flat again unless I pull my elbows out to the side and back.

It's kind of uncomfortable and inconvenient not to be able to sit properly in chairs or lay down on my back. So I'm wondering, what can I do to fix this? Should I see a doctor? Or is there even anything wrong?
