good cardio? Anonymous
are nordic track skier machines good cardio?

I have one that is available to me for free if I want it, and I am wondering if it is worth trying. I run, but I am looking for something that is more low impact and this seems like a good bet. (In addition, I can't afford any sort of machine and this one is free to me)

tldr; again, is it good cardio?

Killer Cardio. Uses your legs a lot as well as your arms - add to this that the position is completely unnatural, so your body has to work to attain it - it ends up being a hearty workout.

Very low impact obviously. Very worthy purchase when bought used and cheap. Since yours in free, even more valuable.
