Hey /fit/, I want to buy a 40 lb. weighted vest. Anyone have any opinions on any particular brand? Or anything else I should be aware of?

What if I wanted to use it for basic stuff like pull-ups, push-ups, sit-ups, jumping rope, etc?

If people gain weight it's gradual not just a huge leap in 20 pounds. Your knees aren't prepared to handle it. Second 20 pounds of weights is everywhere, not a giant lump on your chest. The military has to do something similar with there backpacks. They have some fucked knees brah.

Are weight vests worth it? I'm trying to gain muscle and lose fat, so I can assume a yes? But what if ur body already has adjusted to a 40lb vest already? Dont tell me theres like 100lb vest out there.

I've seen 50lb vests. Wear two of those and you've got 100.

I have also seen people wearing 20lb. vests over 40 lb. ones. I would assume there is no upper weight limit to how much you can wear in vests, just a limit on space available.
