I am a female vegetarian. I eat PB2 which is a peanut butter with 85% of the fat taken out. You can get it at www.bellplantation.com. If you cook your own food, you can also buy some whey protein for baking and start adding it to food (for instance, mix some in with some pancake mix).

I also eat Western bagels which you can get at King Soopers and Walmart. They have a higher protein content and I don't believe it uses soy.

And beans are always an option but they get really disgusting after eating enough of them.

They also make some meat-like products not using any soy. My doctor was telling me about them and you can buy them at health food stores such as Whole Foods and Wild Oats.
