Yoshi ?
Does anyone else power clean, snatch, or clean & jerk? Why or why don't you do it?

I power clean, C&J and power snatch, but not as heavy or as often as I used to. They're good lifts that build the entire body and can make you bull strong over time.

The only downside is you really need a good bar to work the lifts or you'll beat your wrists to death.

Clean, Clean + Jerk, I need to work on snatch.

Excellent lifts, depending on how you do them you can workout pretty much every muscle in your body. The pure style for maximum lift is legs/back to bring up to a clean, and shoulders/triceps to hold the jerk/snatch. If you slow them down and use 'poor form' you basically work several exercises into one movement (deadlift, front squat, push press).

I like that they seem to wear out my body pretty evenly all at once, rather than a single muscle.

Cleans are probably my favorite exercise. They don't really build mass, but they increase explosive strength.

That guy is a hero in Iran. He eats 10 barbari bread (pic related) and a couple of eggs for breakfast.

Isn't there a shot of Reza Zadeh where it looks like he's levitating the bar with his mind?

Hm? Dunno. But I've met him in real life. He's probably the nicest, most joyful guy alive. Wonderful person.

I want to start, looking for clubs with platforms atm, considering buying weights but I will eventually have to reinforce my floor... hmm, might be getting ahead of myself here.

I jerk first, then I sort of have to clean afterwards. It's just like that.
