I'm about 5'11', and weigh about 205lb, but don't show a lot of it. Of course I was born with a cogenital birth defect that left me missing everything below the first 4 inches of my right forearm, and that's probably another few pounds there.
Do try cutting down on stuff like beer and carbs, as well as sweets. drink a lot of water, and try to stay a little active during as much of the day as you can; it'll do more for your metabolism than a single long workout, or a few mega workouts per week.
