Hey /fit/, I've needed a new workout schedule for a while, and I was wondering what you thought about the one I just made:

Monday-
Chest
Triceps
Abs

Tuesday-
30 minutes of running
15 minutes of HIIT

Wednesday-
Hamstrings
Quads
Calves

looks good, only modification I'd make is moving shoulders to monday and adding traps on friday. also, isn't the 30 minutes of cardio useless if you're doing HIIT?

You do have a point, I just like having my running in there with my other exercises.
Would it be better if I did HIIT on the lifting days, then cardio on the off days?

if you're going for fat loss, yes, that does sound like a good idea. if you're looking to bulk, cut all HIIT/cardio from your program.
