Routine/diet help Anonymous
Hi /fit/,

I have been trying, over the past year, to lose some weight and get in shape. I didn't do anything special (didn't have time, did 2 and a half years of highschool in 1 year), I just started doing pushups, situps, walking more and eating at home more. I also stopped eating any processed, frozen food and became a vegetarian.

Now that I finally have some free time, I have been doing a routine that I came up with but I think it could be better.

My current info:
Height: 5"10
Weight: 220lbs
Waist: 32 inches

My current routine is:
3x30 pushups
3x50 situps
3x50 squats

Swap the walking for jogging/running. You never said how much you lost in what time.

>>4x50 reps (15lbs)
>>4x12 reps (40lbs)

Reps of what? Also, you don't really want tips, you want to show off and receive some validation. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Sorry, forgot to mention the weight loss. Lost about 20lbs in 8 months. I forgot to mention the cycling too, I usually do 45 minutes to 2 hours 2 times a week. I can't really run or jog, it hurts my knees an incredible amount.

The reps are of curls with free weights, and what? I'm showing off? I didn't think this was anything to be proud of. :(

You're proud of your accomplishments, are you not? It may just be a subconscious thing. Also I've been drinking.

Read all of it. Ask yourself if you want to invest in some weights and a rack. Answer yes and get going.

Also stop doing curls immediately, do pullups and chinups instead.
