So I really want to check these out. Anyone out there know if they are a decent work out?

I'm a bit on the larger side (6'5 240ish), and I've been looking into alternative methods of exercising. I dislike running, because of my high arches, its painful, and bicycling has just had bad luck for me. But these just look amazingly fun.

tl;dr Powerbocking.... worth it?

Those look retarded, tbh. But whatever floats your boat.

If you want to look like a colossal faggot, go for it.

I live in the middle of South Dakota, I have tons of room to not be seen.

No doubt about it. Look Extremely gay. Fun to run and even jump in.

not worth it. Just use the elliptical. Stationary, so not dangerous. Low/no impact on joints.

Get them, tell us what it's like.

DO IT

Op here, this is what caught me on to these things originally, but they seem kinda limited with only being able to do flip.

As long as I stay away from anything along these lines...

do it if you want to and have the money

Looks to me like those things are a knee snapping good time. One bad landing and you'll have yourself a knew joint.

High Arches causing pain while running?

Check out New Balance MR882CU.

You can thank me later.

Either that, or take up cycling. Going fast rocks.

You know what works? Exercise.
You know what doesn't? Gimmicks.

If you want to really develop your skill based fitness that related to pogo-shoes, then this is the way to go.

Not OP, but I have high arches and random pain in my ankles/shins when I move my feet alot (from running or soccer)

Would the Asics Kayanos be better?

going 20 mph isn't that fast

an decently shaped human can peak at 23mph, with the best reaching around 25.5mph

23 miles per hour requires a little more than "decent shape", dipshit. Unless you define olympic sprinters as being in "decent shape."

Here's an excuse free heart pumper. You can do it in your own home, no equipment necessary:

Do each item for 30 seconds, do this set 5 times over:
Burpees
Mountain Climbers
Jumping Jacks
Burpees
Mountain Climbers
Scissor Kicks
Rest
Rest

You'll be trying to gag your heart out it's so intense. But if you keep it slow, it shouldn't be too bad.

I don't know if I could do that 5 times, but it looks kinda fun. I'll try it tomorrow maybe.

I've got some, they're pretty fun for just mucking about on and running about, but don't expect some kind of major workout on them, its not what they're made for.
>> Anonymous
Why do you need tools for this? Just do Parkour or Freerunning.

because that involves hurting OP's delicate feet.
