people who refuse to do cardio and only do shit that shows quick results. This is a true story, I have a friend who only does weights because he can see quick results. If he wasn't a good friend I would have raged on me so fuck bad. Fitness takes time and effort. Plus astectic gains is not what matters, its fucking function. Honestly I rather be a fat fuck who can run faster and hit harder than be thin and look fit but really not be able to do shit. The nice thing is to have function you get form or its win win. But to get form you dont get function, it doesn't work like that which in my view is useless.

Consider this situation. Chubby guy and thin guy have to catch a bus. Would you rather be the chubby guy who can run and get the bus before it leaves, or the thin guy who gets winded and missed the bus but looks good doing it?(protip: if you choose the latter you are a faggot and hope you get your ass kicked by a fatty to make you realize going to the gym was a waste)

clearly point was not received. Point being, given those two options I would sacrifice looks for ability. Not saying it was a real world example. As I said, a side effect of getting ability is getting some looks. However there are methods that make your muscles look bigger and make you look more buff but really do nothing for your over all strength(such as people who want <10% BMI, it does nothing and is just extra work but you look stronger).

Also chubby does not always mean out of shape and having no stamina. I know a a chubby guy that can run crazy long and is quite strong. he have some fat on him but also a good amount of muscle underneath that. Hell he would probably be fucking ripped if lost that excess fat but he doesn't want to give up his mikeyDs.

just saying, dont underestimate people depending on how they look, as I said in my previous post, function is what should be important.

Sprinting actually doesn't use oxygen to give you energy, it relates more to the metabolic demands of weightlifting far more than endurance running.

If the bus is a mile away, however, fatty with lungs will win.

If everything they ate was fairly healthy and stored as body fat there would not be such a high correlation between obesity and high blood pressure, diabetes, heart attack, and whatever problems it supposedly causes.

Not the weighing 300 pounds with an extremely high body fat is healthy, but what we consider overweight is not unhealthy, the food people eat is.

True, being overweight doesn't necessarily mean you're diseased, but being obese certainly is. If one ate fairly healthy in the first place, obesity will never be an issue. Sure, fat deposits will accumulate but by no means that you are unhealthy.

Technically, being morbidly obese isn't a disease itself per se, but it's helpful to think of obesity more like 'chronic food poisoning'. Poison like arsenic causes all kinds of nasty secondary issues in a human body, and nobody calls arsenic a disease, but it's still recognized as causing death.

I work in a shit mall in a shit city called Cornwall, Ontario. I work at Athlete's World, lulzy because I'm overweight (Fuck you, I'm losing weight. Big whoop, wannafighdaboudit?). There are about 5 or 6 regulars at the mall who don't need their scooters at all. They aren't all fat either.

There's one guy who used to complain about the aisles being too narrow for his scooter when I worked at Radio Shack. My old boss owned him. He looked at him and said "buddy, you need that fuckin' thing about as much as I do."

You burn more calories per mile compared to jogging walking due to its lack of efficiency. Coupled with how long you can keep it up, it really isn't a bad exercise at all for weight loss, I've seen a few people get into decent shape this way.

Not great shape, and not quickly, but that's far from the point.
