I used to play fps games a lot and max'd out the gamma on my monitor so I could see the players hiding in dark spots. Now I don't really play games anymore or stay on the pc as much but I noticed my eyes are very sensitive to the sun now. I can't walk outside without squinting even when I have my sunglasses on. My vision is still fine but I want to know if this is permanent or what I can do to fix it. I turned down the gamma on my pc and I put up a dark background so it wont stress my eyes anymore.
>>258169wow i just thought i was a faggot who squinted alot. I play bright games too, damn fucking 1.6.
YOU SHOULD TRY GOING OUTSIDE MORE OFTEN.
Its because of global warming =D
I do go out a lot now. It's not that I think gaming damaged my eyes.
>>258647avoid dark places as much as possible. Have all your windows bringing in sunlight during the day, and have your lights on at night before you go to sleep. Get enough sleep as well, between 8-7 hours will often do.
The gamma increases X-Rays (including gamma radiation) coming from your CRT monitor's shadowmask. tl;dr, get outside, stay outside.
Should've used hacks
