Hey /fit/,
(6'2", 170lbs male)
I've got this summer goal to have a 6-pack and be in good enough shape that an 8-story building's stairs leave me unphased (complete couch potato last school year).

My mom's making pork ribs, one of if not my FAVORITE food tonight, but I know that the sodium, fat, sauce, and the pork itself are terrible for me, so my question is:

How often, given that I stick to my workout and nutritional plans, can I treat myself to a treat that completely opposes my diet?

I believe one cheat day a week is standard?

Most people have a cheat day once a week, I'm losing weight atm and I have a cheat day once a month. What ever works for you, just dont over do it.

A cheat DAY? Holy christ. I have cheat meals sometimes (and I'm bulking atm) but I can't imagine cheating an entire day.

I'm lucky to have a fairly fast metabolism. Even while eating college food and sitting at my computer in the hours between class and bedtime, I never went over 176lbs.

So, one cheat-meal / week should be alright? neato.

Yeah 1 a week is standard, just remember that the less you settle for the less you get. Good luck OP.
