Hey /fit/

So i've been working out hard bulking up on muscle and cutting fat at the same time. Before you start going BAAA YOU CANT BULK AND CUT AT THE SAME TIME, let me tell you it works. I'm not trying to get super big, more of an athletic look. I started at 145, 5'10", 10% bodyfat

and now i'm at 150, 5'10" 5% bodyfat after about 4 months of intense workout.

I work out each muscle group and i'm noticing improvement in all areas except for my abs. Obviously they show a little more because of the reduce in body fat, but I don't think i'm hitting them hard enough

Abs- (and i'm sorry i don't know the names of each thing)
12 x 3 incline crunches at max incline
12 x 3 incline crunch with ball rotating for side abs
12 x 3 hanging leg pull up
plank for 45 seconds x 2
12 x 3 total ab machine
running once every 3 days for 2-3 miles

SQUATZ helps your abs and core in general a lot.

I have lower back problems from downhill mountain biking and have to be careful with that area in general. I usually stick to the machines for lower back because they put less unintended stress on the area.

You need weighted crunches, using a cable bar is the best.

Slap some weights at the end of your feet and move them up and down while you lay flat on a bench. I do about 10-20pounds in that exercise. Other than that, slow down on the non-weighted ab workouts and throw in more running. Cut all you can, then build up your abs since the difference is huge.
