Eating correctly and working out but getting <6 hours of sleep, How badly will this effect my gains?

you may find lingering soreness or reduced recovery. only time will tell if that is enough sleep for you but most likely you wont make any stunning gains.

Considering all that damage you do to your muscles is repaired in your sleep. You'll notice it for sure. When your sleeping is when your muscles use protein to rebuild themselves, thus making you stronger. You absolutely need 8+ hours of sleep in order to make good gains, and specifically, gains you keep.

Not sleeping and working out is just going to overtax your muscles and potentially cause a loss of size/strength.
