What does /fit/ normally eat for a healthy breakfast? I eat a small bowl of Whole Grain Cheerios every morning before I head out to college. It gives me a nice power boost without making me feel shitty compared to a typical American breakfast (Eggs, Sausage, Bacon, etc.)

Oatmeal motherfucker.

Eggs and sausage are fine sources of protein. Especially eggs. You should have eggs every morning.

superheated toasted to hell. destroyed all the vitamins and minerals that were naturally present, and then they add back just 4 them by law. And they're of synthetically inferior quality.

Eat natural fruit, vegetables, legumes. Healthy shit. Not that barcoded-boxed shit. I'd rather eat the box the Cheerios came in rather than the Cheerios themselves.

Oatmeal and Fiber One Honey Clusters or Uncle Sam cereal. Good stuff.

I don't have time for breakfast usually. In the summer, I used to be able to take my time to eat anything I wanted for breakfast, which usually ended up being some broiled or baked skinless chicken (or other lean meat) and a vegetable and/or fruit. Breakfast is just the first meal of the day, there's no reason people eat "typical" foods like eggs and sausage aside from societal habits.

Now that classes have started again, I have to be out the door for a 1+ hour commute three days per week and a 20 minute commute on the other two days (taking classes at multiple campuses). I started relying on Fiber One bars, which have about 150 calories each and are fairly low in sugar. They're usually just oat and nut bars with a random third thing in there to change flavor (dried fruits, a bit of carmel, peanut butter, etc.). I just eat two of those in my car on the way. Might not be the best, most natural breakfast, but it gives me slow burning carbs, a tiny bit of fat and just enough sugar for a wake-up energy spike and they don't overload me with calories.

If it's available, sometimes I'll grab only one bar and a banana or apple. I only do this if I have an extra five minutes or so to eat the fruit in the house, because I don't want a fucking banana peel sitting in my car on the ride there or apple juice dripping on my fucking chin in the car.

And lunch. Fuck. Forced to eat at the campus cafeteria and 95% of their food is greasy shit like pizza and burgers. The only healthy things I can get down there are the boxed chef salad with fat free dressing and Baked Lays. I don't even trust their turkey or ham sandwiches cause deli meats can sometimes be loaded with calories and there's no way I can know what I'm eating. At least with the salad I know it's all vegetables and a low calorie dressing and the Baked Lays, while not ideal, only have 110 calories and 1.5 grams of fat per bag.

It's hard to eat healthy in college.

How can you honestly diss eggs?

Breakfast:
2 whole eggs and 6 egg whites scrambled with what ever vegetables I have at the time.
1 bowl of oat meal(non-instant)
1 cup of coffee with a scoop of creatine mono hydrate in it.
And a piece of fruit.

Much better than a typical anorexic French breakfast(croissant and espresso)
LOL

Eat this every fucking morning and never get tired of it:

x 4 egg white omelet
x 1/2 cup oatmeal cooked in 1/2 cup w/e milk available and half diced banana
x 1/2 cup cottage cheese with half diced apple and raisins

School started 2 weeks ago and my first class begins very early so I only have time to eat 2 of the above.

usually it's a bowl of steel cut oats with dried fruit, nuts, and honey.
