My room mate looks fat when he wears a shirt, but when he isn't wearing one he is fairly built.
So /fit/ my question to you is this why is it that when he is wearing a shirt he looks kind of fat?
He is 6' 3" and about 220 lbs Waist size 36
Why dos his clothing make him look fat?

No I'm the one sitting on the porch

most clothes are cut to a fairly normal 5'10" 'dude' scale. I have really wide shoulders and am fairly thin (swimmers body, think phelps that fucking alien) so almost all shirts drape over me like a tent)

Because he is tall, most clothing his size is cut for fat people. their for what he can find in his size is really meant for fat people = he looks fat in them.

Same thing happens to my 6'0" 140lb friend. With his shirt off, he's very lean with visible abs and defined pectorals. With a shirt on, it looks like he has small breasts, and the shirt makes his arms look small.

I know this because he bitches about all the time. He just ends up wearing button ups and longsleeves.

ppl of that size NEED to wear tighter shirts and less baggy clothing. I under stand that it is hard to find clothing for some one that size that is a little snug but if they spend the time looking for it they will find it.

I actually have this problem. My shoulders and chest make the tshirt stick way out at the top and it drapes at the bottom so it looks like I am wearing a fucking curtain. Once in a great while I will find a comfortably fitting shirt that sticks close to me instead of hanging out in the air.

lol i also got this "problem" i look ok wearing a rashguard and shit, but most normal tees makes me look fucking strange.
