Sup /fit/

I've started to do a couple of excersises in my spare time just to keep fit. I don't do much all day, and it's nice just to do something to stop me from completely stagnating. I'm 5'11, I don't know my weight, but I'm quite skinny, perhaps 130-140 pounds.

I started doing some stomach crunches and push ups the past 2 days, 3 sets of 15 stomach crunches and 3 sets of 10 push ups after lunch, then the same after dinner. My shoulders and abs are aching today and I was just wondering is that normal? Shall I carry on doing what I'm doing, should I be doing less or more?

I'm not looking to get into body building, but it would be nice to tone up a little. Pic unrelated.

DOMS is quite normal. Work different body parts on different days so you can keep exercising and let your sore muscles heal

squatz and on one day
pullups on another
pushups on the third
