Help me out, /fit/. I went to the gym and worked out on Monday, and had an unexplained migraine. I worked out a lot last night, and woke up this morning with my head hurting so bad I couldn't get out of bed until 1pm and even now I'm almost tripping on painkiller in a darkened room. Has anybody heard of headaches or migraines triggered by workouts before? What the hell am I doing wrong?

Picture entirely unrelated.

I know pinched nerves in your neck can give you a headache for quite a while but I've never heard of pain this bad resulting from working out. Dont' know what to tell you.

Check your post-workout blood pressure, otherwise you really should see a doctor. /fit/ may be filled with licensed cardiologists but we gotta do a physical to diagnose.

You might be dehydrated from sweating. I usually get really bad headaches when I don't drink enough. Try drinking lots of water before and after you work out?

it's a sign the body needs water. i'm pretty sure it would be mentioned in the long winded book:
Your Body's Many Cries for Water.
