Does /fit/ have any vegans?

I'm thinking of trying a vegan diet.

For every steak you don't eat, I'm going to eat 2.

God bless you for making meat cheaper.

get the nutrition down first. know where all your protiens and essential nutrients are coming from before you start.

I found it to be too hard for me since i like meat. but when i went on a diet of nuts, bananas, apples, and spinach my shit started smelling like baby shit. You know you're doing something right when your shit smells like baby shit.

Don't bother; I've been a pesco/lacto/ova vegetarian my whole life but I would never go vegan. Research shows that humans are omnivorous creatures and that is the healthiest diet for us. With that said, try to cut out red meat and avoid skin as much as possible. Eat healthy fish like salmon (whitefish is bullshit) and eat eggs and skinless chicken. Trying to go the rest of your life without drinking milk or eating ANY kind of meat is unnatural and offers no advantages. And in case anyone comes in with that "save the animals stuff" I don't eat mammals or poultry and I don't support the way that meat processing is handled but I also realize that BAWWWWWWWing about it on the internet won't change anything.

What about getting protein from soy products and nuts? Also, there are vitamin/mineral supplements one can take. Perhaps there aren't especial physical advantages, but there aren't disadvantages either, right?
