Look on, mortal, and tremble.
This is Dean Karnazes. He ran 50 marathons in 50 states in 50 days. He had gained muscle mass by the end.
He also did the Badwater Ultramarathon (135 miles, 130 degree heat) in 27 hours and 11 minutes, ran 350 continuous miles, foregoing sleep for three nights, ran a marathon to the South Pole in negative 40 degrees, on seven different occasions, ran a 200-mile relay race solo, racing alongside teams of twelve, swam across the San Francisco Bay, scaled Half Dome in Yosemite, and mountain-biked for 24-hours straight.
Think of the human body like a car. Do people today look for horsepower and speed, or mpg?
