Hi /fit/I've followed most of the sane advice given by some knowledgeable anons regarding losing weight or fat, and I have been successful in doing so. Now I haven't started out as fat (my body's metabolism is luckily quick), but a belly seems to have started. I since stopped eating fastfood and tried to subsist on vegetables and whole-wheat sandwiches. From cheese, to peanut butter (once in two days), to mustard, I followed your advice. I'm now down from 149 to 142: I'm 5'8" so even back then I was still alright.I want to ask, though. Since I'm not really eating much meat (most of the time just once a day, and just with small servings), can I just not eat meat altogether and just drink a protein shake?I plan to have a vegetable and sandwich-intensive diet. Can you help?tl;dr: Can protein shakes act as substitutes to eating meat for someone aiming to eat as fit as possible? (Veggies and some spreads only?)
Oh, and to add, how much should I drink in a day? Just one serving? Two? Three?I do cardio for at least 45 minutes 5 times a week.
This bored isint old enough for you to have lost that much weightits water weight most likely =/
Eat nuts and beans. Better natural proteins than a shake will provide. Also, fruit or vitamins. But, on the whole, yes, you can.
