*sigh*
ok, if you have the weights, all you really need now is some room, an internet connection, and an ab roller. I love that thing, works your stomach like a crazy fucker.... moving on
If you've never done a real workout before, start with squats, deadlifts, and an ab workout... then add a new exercise each week or so. Even if you go to the gym, start small, and work to get bigger::: start with squats and deadlifts, then add stuff for your chest and back, then arms. Look up supersets.
also, make sure to rest. If you aren't getting enough, all your work will mean much less. Don't forget to stretch and warm up before and after every workout.
Work the heart too: cardio is as important as your muscles, just don't over do it. 30 minutes of cardio per session is usually good enough, an hour is overkill. Excessive cardio kills your muscle building unless you eat constantly.
as far as eating... focus on water and protein. Drink ONLY WATER, you should do this anyways. And large amounts of protien to fuel the muscle growth you want. Protein is needed by the body whether you are trying to gain muscles or not, so trying to put on weight means you need more of it... lots more of it.
good luck
