Alright /fit/.
I've started a diet.
I don't eat until dinner which consists of a meat product, a vegetable product, and pasta.
I don't really exercise but I do some boxing on the weekends.
I've told some people and they say that what I'm doing isn't good for me.
But it doesn't seem to me that there is anything wrong with it.
What are some effects that would occur if I were to continue doing this and/or why is this a bad idea?

your body is going to go into catabolysis much more readily than a person who eats more meals, because you're basically starving it for more of the day. you might lose weight, but a good bit of it will be lean body mass (muscle) and surprisingly little of it will be fat. i'll see you when you're skinnyfat.

eat more meals.

your body needs food every 3~ hours to keep your metabolism going, eating once a day makes your body think youre not gonna be able to get food and it turns whatever you give it into fat to keep you alive in case you run out of food etc.

"But it doesn't seem to me that there is anything wrong with it."

this is the main problem with your diet: you have no idea how to lose weight
