So /fit/ Booster Juice and others like it.

My friends love Booster Juice and kept recommending it to me, so after work today I figured I'd try it.

I had no idea what the 'special' boosters included in a drink were, but I ended up getting the Very Berry with calcium. Anyways, the point is, is this stuff as good for you as they keep advertising?

Well considering I'm not a retard who thinks a smoothie is a replacement for a balanced meal, yes I did eat. I tried it because I was curious about it.

Good. No problem in that.

And to be honest, I've never seen one of those stores around. The only ones that come close to it are called Jamba Juice and Roebucks. (sp?)

Booster Juice is basically the Canadian version of those two places.

aaaaaaactually.

The calories in a Jamba Juice or a smoothy are so high that you should treat it as a meal replacement. We're talking between 400 and 800 calories in these things.

You shouldn't use it as a true meal replacement, ie, one you use every day. But if you're trying to lose weight you shouldn't drink one of these with your lunch. It could be a snack, if you got a small.
