i guess this fits in here the most. I got my tongue pierced on Wednesday, and while brushing my teeth tonight I noticed my tongue has a yellow/white tinge to it around the piercing area and towards the back of my tongue.
I am taking 2 vitamins to help with the healing process, Vitamin C and Zinc. I also wash my mouth with sea-salt water 2 times a day. Could these be affecting my tongue? Could it be natural healing? Or is it something worse?
I was thinking it is just plaque. Sadly I can't brush near it, as I am ment to let it heal for 10 days.

All help is much appreicated.

Sea Salt Solution isn't going to help, use a 50/50 solution of mouthwash with NO alcohol in it, and water. Yellowish stuff if plaque and normal piercing gunk, just brush it off. Doesn't matter if they said ten days, leaving that shit on there is going to do worse than brushing it off before 10 days.

Alright, thanks for the info. If I am not able to brush it *all* off, but get a bit if it, is that going to be a bad thing?

Alright, i just went at my tongue for 5 minutes with an electric toothbrush, and none of it came off. I am kind of stressing about this, as I haven't got a new piercing in a while, so I am not sure if this is exactly a bad thing.
