HALP Anonymous
hello /fit/. This is me, i'm 6'1 and 195lbs. I'm looking to lose a good amount of flab and gain some more muscle mass as quickly as possible. I also have a gym membership, but after a couple minutes get bored and don't feel like working out anymore. I've tried music but it hasnt really helped me stay focused, im looking for any suggestions for music and other things to keep me occupied while i'm there, and workout suggestions for maximum flab loss and muscle gain

There's not a lot that i can do outside other than jogging, as i don't have my own weights or any other equipment for that matter to take outside

You need a workout buddy. It's nice to have someone to talk to, to distract you from the tedium and to force you to keep to your schedule. Do you know someone who shares your health goals?

Try audiobooks instead. You won't much be able to put on muscle while losing weight, but some high rep (12-15/set) lifting spaced in between cardio days is probably your best bet for improving your physique in a short amount of time.

membership cost is 60 bucks, $10 a month after that. also i've gone there fairly regularly, 2-3 times a week, i just get bored quickly.

i imagine that if i ever hit the point where i couldnt see my cock or stopped getting laid i would be a little more gung ho about the whole situation. Also i should add that ive been losing weight fairly steadily since summer started, i'm just looking to speed up the process.

Just grow a pair of balls focus on meeting whatever goals you planned for and DO EEET. You don' t need outside motivation to work out.

If you find you can't work out without outside motivation because you get bored then you don't have a strong enough goal.

i get really board too while working out. i started taking jiu jitsu and that really helped, having a group that i got to know and enjoys training.

Do you write down your workouts? My entertainment is focusing on trying to DESTROY my previous workout of the same routine. Competing with yourself makes for good entertainment.
