maxes are for people who know how strong they are and are striving to get strong.

you, on the other hand, are neither
>> Anonymous
>>152802
so i don't know how strong i am? :p

form > weight

your form aguement has no merit. i measure all my maxes based on the following:

Bench : bar touches chest, no bounce, butt on bench
Deadlift : no straps, no hitching
Squat : hips below knees

Nice squat man. how long you been working out?
>> Anonymous
>>152823
uh yes? being strong is more important than looking good
>> Anonymous
>>152823
Yeah. I want to be strong, and would love to join a competitive lifting team someday. I don't want to be a bodybuilder and I could really care less about looking buff.
>> Anonymous
>>152829
you don't /need/ to bench 250 lbs to be sufficiently strong
