Sup /fit/...So I'm feeling particularly faggotish and vain at the moment and I've decided to try and drop my body fat level to 8% or less.I'm currently at about 12% according to measurements.I already know what I'm going to do exercise wise, I'll be continuing my strength training (5x5 type routine 3 times a week) and I'm going to add running back in as cardio. My question is, if I keep a minimalist diet but add protein shakes in and keep protein high will my bodyfat level drop? I'm not going to completely cut carbs obviously, nor do anything particularly unhealthy. An average day would be something like this...Breakfast: 3 eggs, scrambled, handful of spinach mixed in. 2 pieces of soya+linseed toast. 2 tomatoes. small glass of Orange Juice.Lunch: A piece of fruit, maybe a handful of nuts and a protein shake.Comment too long. You need to be getting enough calories with your diet. Just don't go too low.
go all protein/fat, ex out the carbs in your diet if you want to get the % down, and go only a few calories under daily requirement to maintain weight
lol I'm 5% and trying to raise it.
Is that sum Maxxie?
>>230318I'm not sure I could pull that off.I mean what would I eat?Proteins I generally have access to at the moment are primarily eggs& milk, then chicken & turkey and nuts.Any other good sources? Is quinoa low enough in carbs?
>>230349Why?
>>230391Because it's unhealthy at my body weight to be below 8-10%
>>230366A lot of chicken and asparagus/broccoli/small portion of yams. For every fucking meal, with low carb protein shakes to fill in the other meals. Breakfast is really the only meal you can have liberties with since you should be working off anything you put in your body in the morning by the time you go to bed at night.
>>230366Lean meats, eggs, and cheese. I'd do it too, but I'm not sure I'm radical enough for ketosis.
