D:

But I need to be flexo or i wont be able to perform feats of magnificent agility
>> Anonymous
Everyone is flexible. The trick is teaching your muscles to relax and not react.

Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation is one way. And saying it makes you feel smarter!

Short legaments say otherwise.

To the OP do leg raises in all directions as high as you can 12 times in each direction (front, back and sidewise). Do not use any momentum. This way you'll strech your leg and gain the muscles needed to use that flexibility. You can use ankle weights too.

Agreed. Check out this vid:

Kurz's book is very good too.

same fag

Also, what the fuck are you disagreeing with? That everyone is flexible? OK, nit-picking faggot, everyone has the capacity to be flexible. And yes, you will not get anywhere without first relaxing your muscles to stretch those ligaments.

Pedantic fucking asshole perfectionist self-loathing little bitch you are, you'll probably try and find something else wrong with these paragraphs.

Not same fag.

> Pedantic fucking...

Temper temper!

Just to be clear, ligaments can only be stretched in kids, as an adult you stretch only muscle.

> The trick is teaching your muscles to relax and not react.

Strength through a large range of motion is also required for some stretches such side splits. Read the Kurz book.

Hi, I'm only>>80371and the way you said it sounded like everyone can do a split just by relaxing their muscles.
>> Anonymous
>>80409
Everyone can do a split by relaxing their muscles. Eventually. I didn't even see anything mentioned about time frames or anything that would give you that impression. Two simple fucking sentences and you dickheads (OH wait, it's still samefag) are giving me shit over it. Fuck off and die.

Why does it hurt then? :'(
>> Anonymous
>>80408
Again, you take the simplest fucking statement of observation and make a big fucking deal out of it as if I'm preaching BABYFUCKing. If you don't let your muscles relax then you won't get anywhere with stretching, not as fast as you would otherwise.

If you were educated you would have seen there is nothing at all for you to disagree with. Only you like to pick arguments out of fucking nowhere because you think you're well-versed in everything you narcissistic little cunt.

>>80421
It's not supposed to hurt. If it hurts then you're going too far.
>> Anonymous
>>80415

Trying to do the side split hurts initially because your muscles are weak and your nervous system tenses them strongly to protect against injury. Asshole posting claims that anyone can do the side split if they stretch for long enough. This is bullshit. A full side split requires several months of conditioning the muscles and nervous system to reach full range of motion. Again, read the Kurz book.

Nigger I didn't say do them in one sitting and you'll get it, did I?

I'm one of the samefags and I don't understand why do you rage (appereantly) over a simple argument on the internet.

At least to people ITT got exactly that impression from what you said.

As for your point of having two dipshits on this thread, that's to be expected and is statistically insignificant as an indicator of my writing ability.

Was articulate and well-written. If only you'd done the same in

>>80344

we wouldn't be having this argument. It turns out we don't disagree at all, just that it took about 5 posts full of internet tough guy bullshit to drag what you really meant out of you. Next time just say what you mean...
>> Anonymous
I assume self-fellatio is the underlying reason behind the quest for flexability. I wish you godspeed, noble OP.

ITT: Internet Tough Guys. C'mon, seriously, nobody cares who said what, who knows more about ligaments, or if everyone can possibly be super-flexible, OP is just asking a question. How about we answer it, hm?

From what I found muscles = flexibility. I'm a 300lb whale, yet I can put my foot behind my head, do the splits, etc. with NO effort. Why? My legs are almost pure muscle from carrying my fat ass 24/7.

Sidenote I find worth mentioning- With such legs I also carry myself VERY well for a fat man, most people don't believe I'm over 200 lbs until I lift my pants and show my rock-hard calves. I think I have a 200lb upper body and 100lb legs, no joke. But whatever, I digress.
