Hey /fit/. Doing great with my weight so far. Went from 235 to 210 in approximately 25 weeks, target weight is 175. Anyways, I want to know if there is anything missing in my diet that maybe you can suggest, either for my health or to help facilitate in me losing some weight. Here's what my diet consists of:

meats: turkey breast, chicken breast, tuna, salmon, tilapia, egg whites
Carbohydrates: wheat bread, oatmeal, brown rice
vegetables: broccoli, carrots, peas, onions, corn
oils: vegetable oil (tablespoon when I make my eggs)
drinks: water, green tea, white tea
supplements: multivitamin every two weeks

Is there anything missing in my diet or some other essential food that I can include? Discuss please.

I see your diet, and raise you healthier choices. Your diet looks great, albeit somewhat bland.

>meats
Why no red meats? Human beings have been eating red meat for thousands of years you know.

>wheat bread
replace with low-sugar whole grain, as wheat bread is junk food

>peas/carrots/corn
green beans/mixed salad with sugar free dressing/complex carb veggies in general

>oils
Only oil you need to worry about is trans fats. Cook your eggs in whatever oil you want.

>drinks
You drink what I drink :)

>supplements
Unneeded

Actually, I would recommend vitamin B multis and fish oil, but that's it really (because your body naturally produces all the supplementation it needs).

Also, I just noticed you didn't write a fruit section. Eat natural fruits as you please--they are a sweet food that you never need to feel guilty about.

goddamit, calories out > calories in = lose weight

it's as simple as that

No. No it's not. Weight loss is about choices, not calories (calories have almost nothing to do with weight loss, and is usually taken completely out of context). Counterexample to this viewpoint: fish has a lot of calories, but you can't get fat from eating it regularly.
