I don't run in the mornings right now. I used to in Airforce ROTC, in 7 in the morning (shit sucks). But during that time was when I went from almost 190 lbs to 165. I'm constant at that weight now.
I run at 6, and if I feel like it, I usually grab a small banana too eat because I don't want to eat anything too big.
Try eating a small banana, lots of good vitamins and I heard if you ever barf while running too hard, it still tastes like banana (which is a good bonus :D).
