hey /fit/, this is the first day of my bulking diet. Been living on 1500 calories for the past 2 weeks while I got my BF% down to 8%. Just wanna get advice on if it's enough or too much so I can change it for tomorrow.

Exercise done: 30 minute workout, 50 minute swim (1 mile), 4.5 mile walk (60 min).

Eaten: 1.2lbs lean chicken with tomato paste with 4 slices of wheat bread and lettuce/tomato. 2 slices wheat bread with peanut butter. Protein shake.

It seems a lot to me and I'm not hungry for the first time in a fortnight. Trying to eat about 3000 calories a day though.

get FitDay or a similar program to count your calories. you're probably not eating enough.

If I'm not eating enough is it OK to just add on a few extra protein shakes during the day? Is there something inherently wrong with drinking protein and energy over eating it?

because I want to stay cut looking and I'm paranoid about getting fat. I don't want to look like a body builder, I want a swimmer's body. I just want to build up my arms and chest mostly.
