Hey /fit/- I need to change my diet.
I have plenty of money, but very little cooking ability/motivation/equipment. What is an appropriate solution? Pic related?
If I ate solely lean pockets and lean cuisine, would be that a decent diet? What to do?

Solely fat loss.

Right, go for fresh fruit and vegetables, no white bread, no large servings of pasta, salads, the usual stuff, essentially you just want to stay away from things like packet noodles, fast food and soda. If you steer clear of the obviously unhealthy foods and count calories, dieting is really very simple, and no diet will work for everyone, try to go to a supermarket, and just explore a bit, read the nutritional information about things before you buy it, you want to aim for about 350 calories per meal, and 5/6 meals a day. Freedom is key, find something that fits the description and tastes nice enough that you can stick to it.

If money isn't an issue, you might try nutrisystem (nutrisystem.com)

It basically is a bunch of lean cuisines, but it is hopefully geared toward a more well rounded diet since it is designed to be your whole diet rather than just a meal.

To add to this, Chicken and Salmon are your gods. Chicken is fucking amazing. Tonight put it in a fajita, tomorrow have chicken parmesan, the next day have grilled chicken with some veggies and a slice of bread (rye or wheat) on the side.

Also, there are bags of veggies in bags called Steamers. Just throw the bag in the microwave, cook it for 5 minutes, pull the bag out and voila, steamed veggies. Perfect for people like you and me.
