working out just before you go to bed could wreck your sleep. As your heart rate increses when it should be slowing down ready for sleep. I would get a good 8 hours, wake up and work out. Then shower to freshen you up and have breakfast. That way you're psyched for the day but you still replenish the energy levels. I like to work out when I get home from work too, then have dinner and relax for the rest of the day.
