hey /fit/, you're the last place I can turn too. Recently (as of March-May) I've noticed some weird spots on the front of my chest (Pictured here), and it appears to be a red rash with a small, almost mosquito-bite like bump in the middle.

It ONLY itches when I'm in the shower, and only appears when I'm in the shower. I can see the bumps in normal daylight, but it only gets red in the shower.

Hold on, 3 more pics coming up.

/fit/ is not your last resort, if you're poor go to a damn clinic doctor, it's better then asking a bunch of teenagers on 4chan

I do own a cat, and he sleeps on the same bed with me, and he had Fleas in February, but they're long, long gone now, and I checked him, and my bed, for bugs, such as bed bugs, but like I said, if it were bed bugs, the bites aould be everywhere.

True, /fit/ isn't the last place I can turn too, but yeah, I am too poor to see a doctor.

And it's not an allergic reaction to the soap.

i figure one of you guys have to know what it is.

I also have acne, not like a fucking full-blown pizza face or anything, but I so have it. I shower daily and I eat right, so I don't know what the problem is, but my main concern are these rash-bite-bump things. I've lurked on Google for awhile now and I can't find anything, so, like I said, I figure one of you could help.

I'm... also a virgin... so it's not an STD.

*do have it.*
My bad.

Also I don't go to a gym or anything, but I want to start.

This is only a hint, it could be a fuckton of other things.
Anyway my tips: Do not use soap at all. Get a ph-skin-neutral shower gel without artificial shit. As natural as possible.
Do not scrub your skin after showering, instead lightly pat the water off.

Ph-skin-neutral Shower gel? I'll look into it.

I know this might sound crazy, but to the original poster...

You might be allergic to water, I would recommend seeing a dermatologist about this though, it's nothing to be ashamed of, and will most likely have an easy diagnosis and remedy

But if I was, it would be all over... right? And I would be dead, the human body is 80% water... or something.

Your skin can react badly to water when the rest of you doesnt. You have to take these weird powder bath things. There was a girl I wen't to highschool with that had that problem.

Can be caused by any number of things. I get that when I overheat too quickly. Used to be worse but after a while it became mild.
>> Anonymous
If it's hives that used to happen to me too for unknown reasons. I took some OTC allergy meds for a little while and they didn't come back after I stopped. They occurred after I took a shower though, not before.
Do you take hot showers? Turn down the heat a bit.

Quit using Irish Spring soap.

I used to get the same thing. Might be contact dermatitis. Mine went away when I switched to a different soap. Hope that helps.

Might I recommend Dr. Bronners Magic Soap?

In any case, it's worth it for the hilarity of the label even if it doesn't help you.

Just say "NO" like women, when other men try to cum on your chest.

do you sleep with no shirt on?
your cat no longer sleeps with you. wash your sheets like you're treating for lice. buy some antihistamines - they will bring down the redness and itching. hopefully getting rid of the cat will stop it from returning.

oh and treat the animal for fleas too. it might not be the problem, but cant hurt.

Get some milk and start rubbing your chest with it. Rub lots in. leave it in for the whole day.

This happens to me when I have long hot showers, although not as bad as OP pic.

They go away after about 10 minutes after I get out of the shower.

Try not to scratch your body in the shower and you probably wont get them. Nothing to worry about.

my g/f has something similar. she gets white spots because the rest of her body turns red. Hers is a genetic skin condition and it nothing to worry about. she also gets it from working out or just sweating.
>> Anonymous
Triggered by the heat most likely, have a cooler shower.
