Dear /fit/izens, I was doing squatz yesterday. And today, my leg hurts in the area noted in the picture, but the pain itself is pretty minor and I don't really feel anything unless i go bellow parallel, thus I will probably wait till weekend to choose whether to go to a surgeon or not.

My question would be this, has any of had something similar to this? I don't want to find out that I have some knee AIDZ when I get to a doctor or some shit.

Well, I'm a first year physical therapy student. That muscle is part of your quadriceps which attaches to the tibia on the tibial tuberosity.

You should be able to tell if it's actually bone pain or muscle pain. If your bones were damaged somehow, you'd know it. You probably just pulled the muscle a little bit.

Obviously, the only way to tell for sure is to have x-rays done, but I'd wait a few days and see where the pain goes. If it's minor now, it's probably going to be fine by Saturday. Since it isn't greatly inhibiting your daily life, give it up to a week to work itself out. If it still hurts after that long, see a doctor.

RICE that shit, and take some ibuprofen...if it's not better in a couple of days, go see a doc.

Ok, thanks, I think I'll do that. And yes, it does feel like it's only muscle pain.

lol yeah, because tendinitis is a life changing event. Just rest. Do some ITBS stretches and ice it twice a day. If you don't feel better in a couple of weeks, go see a doctor.

No need for ibuprofen. I can bloody run if I want to without any pain.
