Junk food = fat loss?? Anonymous
Recently I've been weak-willed enough to eat junk food. I've been eating milk chocolate, oreos, and drinking soda almost everyday for the past two weeks.

However, contrary to what I'd expect, I'm actually losing body fat. Haven't been to the gym in 3 weeks either. Only thing I've done differently as of late is that I'm taking fish oil caps more regularly.

Did I find the magic bullet for fat loss?

It's called ectomorphism

doubt it. I'm no string bean. I'm more of a mesomorph.

Well, shit, I'm clueless. My guess would be that better nutrition sustains your muscles better (and it does, but I'm not sure about how it would affect your situation given the exercising done before the binge)

My guess would be:
Because of your (I presume you have been cutting) healthier way of life you eat less, regardless of what you eat.
These cheat weeks have boosted your metabolism up a bit.
You will probably stop losing fat and maybe gaining some back once your body adapts do the junkfood again..

Just guessing tho, but when I was cutting I had the same thing, I could just give up for a week and eat more or less unhealthy stuff while still losing a bit of weight.
