i have eaten nothing for 4 days and drank nothing but water
and smoked cigarettes
but i have seen no adverse effects as of yet

how long can i continue not eating without seeing any adverse effects?

when you're entering starvation mode, which i'm sure you are in already. your muscle mass is the first to go because it takes less enegry to burn that off then the fat that'll keep in reserve.
