Hello /fit/. I currently have lots of pimples, and I have been trying to get rid of them. But I don't know how. I wash my face 3-4 times a day. I have tried some different face creams for pimples. But everytime I try it, my skin dries up and I begin to desquamate. If you, /fit/, can help me in any way, I would be really grateful! Thank you.

10-15 minutes of sunlight everyday and stick to a sleeping schedule. Preferably get more than 8 hours everynight. One, some wavelength in the sun kills the acne bacteria in the skin and triggers a hormonal response, and two, a regular sleep schedule cuts down on stress and the sleep causes melatonin to be released. All of these are good for your skin, in addition to something like a benzoil peroxide cream.

All right. I tend to not sleep so much. I'll try to sleep more, thanks!

Don't wash your face so much. Twice a day is plenty; if you wash 3 or 4 times a day your face is going to pump out more grease because the natural oils are getting washed away all the time.

Drink a lot of water, try to exercise a lot so you'll sweat and then shower afterwards.

its true, but if you eat oily/greasy food, some it the oil/grease will get on your skin and cause pimples

Washing your face 4 times is not good for you. You stick to once in the morning and once at bedtime no more no less.

When I eat healthier and drink plenty of water my skin is noticeably better. Diet does make a difference (although this is spots on an adult, not someone in puberty).

Zinc makes a noticeable difference for me, you can get supplements for it or you can try and include zinc rich foods.
