Water Anonymous
Hey /fit/, for the past 3-4 years, I have regularly been drinking around 6L of water a day. I know this is quite uncommon, but was wondering whether there are any other /fit/s in the same situation?

To expand on it, I think it's more because of habit, I don't have diabetes or anything else hopefully (but am going to get a blood test on tuesday). I take multivitamins plus Berocca (B and C) every day, and try to eat adequate amounts of salt. I talked to the doctor about my water intake, and they were very dismissive, although they did do the little diabetes test the day after, which turned out negative.

I'm very careful about water intoxication/hyponatremia, but the reason I am going to see a doctor is because lately I have been peeing urine which if left for a while, turns cloudy. People around me are -convinced- it's to do with the water I drink, but just thought I'd ask /fit/ what your views are on my situation (any dangers I am ignoring?), and if any other /fit/s in the same boat as me.

You are drinking too much water. If you don't want to reduce the amount, at least don't drink large amounts at once.

If your pee turns cloudy, it could either be reacting with something in the toilet, like bacteria or you you could have a bladder infection. (the latter is highly doubtful unless you experience pain when urinating)

drink 2 liters less water a day.
