Right on, bro. I wouldn't suggest the Marines, it's 4 years of being habitually disrespected, standing by, and field day, but whatever bro, it's your life. Bro, the major things for the Marines is pullups, crunches, and 3 mile run. I understand there is a new physical fitness test since I've been out, and I don't know what it is bro, but this should help.

Find out your max pullups. Then do half that number, for each of these, bro.

shoulder width
palms in
close grip
wide grip
cliffhangers, 1 set each way

then do 20 regular pushups, 20 diamond, and 20 wide grip. then do 20 dips. then do the whole thing over again. That's pullups workout bro. Periodically test your max so you can adjust accordingly.

Crunches; just do some fuckin abs bro.

Run time. After your long run, do a couple 400 meter sprints as hard as you can. Shit will cut lotsa time off your run, bro.

Good luck bro. Enjoy standing post and your lack of sleep, bro!

Not op here bro, but, I mean, the Army is kinda like, light infantry bro... are the Marines that too? (Canadianbro here)

If anything bro, the Army would be the "heavy" infantry. They have a lot more mechanized bro! A LOT more APCs and tanks. That is the Army's strong point bro.

The Marines take being a grunt a little more serious though, bro. The training is a little more in depth and intense, and unit runs and PFTs are a little harder. And also bro, the whole branch isn't infantry. Only like 10% of the Marines are groundpounders, bro. There are Marine pogues too.

I see what you're saying bro, It's just that people have compared our Infantrymen to Shock Troopers, leading to me to believe that American troops, while just as equipped and trained, are not the same... bro?

Bro, I go to bootcamp in June. I run on the reg, lift like some shit, squat like a mother fucker, and get pussy every day. Nah mean, bro?
