Im skinnyfat, how can i not be skinnyfat anymore /fit/?
I eat about 2500cals a day, weight lift 3 times a week (compound exercises) for an hour a session. Diets good, eggs in morning, chicken, veges etc and on top of that i ride a few miles on my bike in the week, and have a cheat meal saturday to confuse my metablolism. The only think i can think that has changed is that i lost my job and ive been sittin on my PC 4-5 hours a day (when im not lifting or riding a few miles)

Where am i going wrong ?

You're not "skinny fat", you're just fat. Go on a diet.

you dont look skinny to me. more like average with a little extra fat. drop 15 pounds and still be in crappy shape and you'd be skinnyfat.

skinny-fat is composed of two things. Being skinny, and being fat. To not be skinny, you get bigger. To not be fat, you lean the fuck out. Need metabolic conditioning. Try barbell complexes, HIIT (not as fun), crossfit.

Need more lifting. Need more calories. 2500 is nothing for 6'1" 175. Try 3500-5000. This will boost recovery and provide more energy for...

>more lifting

Experiment and push the boundaries of volume/frequency. To know the boundaries, you're going to have to become overtrained at some point. Don't be afraid of it.

a few miles on a bike over the course of the week is NOTHING. dont expect to lose any weight like that.

also, your fat is gonna cover your lifting gains for a while.

No idiot, if you try to get skinny/lean first, that's be a mistake.
