hey /fit/, I've just started clean bulking for the first time ever. I have a very low BF% and after 3 days of eating 3000 calories a day and working out (3 days ago and today), I've already noticed a significant increase in muscle. Where I used to be only able to feel bone on the back of my arm, I now can feel a layer of muscle and can feel the grains in it. Is a noticeable difference after 3 days really possible or am I just imagining it?

Yes, it's possible. Especialy with triceps as this muscle isn't often used to it's limit. So therefore it's more likley to reposond well to weigh training when your begining.

GRATS ON TRICEPS MEIGHT!

Yeah it's possible. You never bulked before so your gonna get some gains. I'm taking it that your not an ectomorph.

Also your muscles get filled with blood and crap so they might look bigger after a workout.

I'm not sure what category I'd fall in, what my "natural" appearance would be. I posted these photos of myself about a week ago just as I was finishing getting BF% down, lost another 2lbs in the few days after that then started building a few days ago.

Ectomorph.

Also if that's what you look like with gains I hate to see before eww.

no, that's before I started lifting

yeah, you'll see gains pretty fast if you stick with it, if you start with low fat and muscle and build muscle you'll be able to see the changes every week or so

Post a new pic then.

you wouldn't be able to see the difference in these grainy photos (it's a shitty webcam), especially since then I've lost more BF and gained muscle. At that distance it'd probably look exactly the same. But to me, I can feel my arm compared to when I started and there is more mass there.

Just take measurements now and take now as the point where you started. Take all measurements on your "off" days so that the muscles aren't expanded from working out.

Also, is there any weight to reduce the appearance of veins? I can track one in each of my arm from my shoulder to the wrist.

gaining fat will obscure the veins, though usually the goal is not to obscure the veins and muscle with fat. That said, the veins shouldn't grow much bigger while the muscle will, so they won't look so out of proportion in the end.
