Push ups Anonymous
Gentlemen, I am pretty /fit/ in terms of RUNNAN anyway but it bugs me that I can only do about 15 push ups before I lose it. I'm not out of breath, 'feeling the burn' or anything I just stop for some reason. Discomfort I guess.

So, WTF is wrong with me? If I keep banging out these 15 push ups all the damn time...like...30 times over the course of the day...am I going to improve much in, say, a month? It's bugging me.

1- Do 15 pushups...shoot for the 16th / 17th
2- Eat
3- Next day, shoot for 18 pushups
4- Eat some more
5- Add 2 pushups to your routine every other day
6- ?????
7- Profit.

Hi op, some days/weeks ago I was like you. I could run, had lost weight but could only perform 4 push-ups. I found the one hundred push-ups page and started it. Now I am much better at it but I know push-ups can only take me so far.. (just end of week 4, will make the exhaustion test in 10 minutes, manager to do 112 push-ups yesterday but in 5 reps).
