hi /fit/

i've been weight lifting on and off for several monthes now and i am able to spot noticeable progress. however the one thing that has been troubling me was the lower portion of my pecs. they are flabby and i would like to tone them so that my pecs are tilted downwards.

what are good ways to work the lower portion of your pecs in order to tone them downwards?

You just need to add more size to your pecs and lose whatever fat is making it look that way. Stay away from decline presses.

Decline bench presses
Decline dumbbell flies

use the decline bench and do presses and flies

or/and put the cable pulleys at the top and do flies

similar to the attached picture of the chick on the torture machine

When it comes to benching Barbells are more for strength, and dumbbells are more for size.

dunno why that one anon said stay away.

But, I dont always use the decline bench...just the flat, incline, and crosscables. I will through in the decline when i feel like mixing it up

dumbbells use more muscle groups at once

barbells have more of a target muscle

I prefer the dumbbells
