Learn to cook, chicken salads with lowfat dressing are good, basically if you get fresh foods like vegetable lean meats poulty etc. and cook it yourself being careful about how you do it (No frying no butter whatever) you can make a decent diet out of it.

Chicken is your friend. Also rice. I don't feel like googling, but there's a US gov't publication that lays out food purchasing, menus, and recipes to eat healthily on a very small budget indeed.

you can cook that chicken with mixed vegetables (go for the grocery store brands that are cheepish) for some extra win. oh and always drink water

a lot of healthy foods are cheap if you don't mind cooking things yourself.

brown rice, oatmeal, fresh veggies, egg whites, some light fish like flounder/pollock, chicken breasts

bread and water...just like Jesus. Its called The Jesus Diet. I go on and off it.

or start out slow on the Poor Student diet and eat Rits with peanutbutter and jelly/honey.

Or throw down 30-50 bux on an appetite suppressant and save money on food in the longrun.

Dont listen to these ppl. Chicken is not your friend, unless you like to eat the #1 worst chemical/hormone grown meat. Get your protein somewhere else...such as cock.

all the illegal ones work the best.

but that is going to make u eat less, not better. If you go that route, make sure you supplement nutrition...but you are poor. So, might as well eat unhealthy till you can afford it.
