>>384843 It's best to start a diet that is about 50% vegetables and fruit (as much fresh as possible) and the rest whole grains, legumes, beans, lean protein, etc. Avoid dairy, you're an adult human mammal, not an infant cow, don't get suckered into that hot mess. Look up propaganda and the dairy industry. You're a human being, you weaned years ago, dairy is pretty much liquid weight-gain supplements that veal calves take to gain hundreds of pounds in the first year of life. Doesn't sound like what you're looking for. Eggs are good, and lean protein (I prefer tofu because I'm a vegetarian but I'm not gonna lie, fish won't hurt you, and some white meat, but skip the artery clogging red meat...)
Honestly this is the key: a high-fiber, high-plant protein diet and exercising 4-5 times a week for about an hour each time (aerobic like elliptical machine and some toning stuff like crunches on a medicine ball).
Losing 10 pounds by eating soundly and exercising will look like 25 because it'll dissolve the layers of fat that usually seem most visible.
good luck.
