As a veteran of 7chan's /fit/ since December, I've read time and time again that anything more than 2lbs/week is overkill, and will be difficult to keep off.

If I wanted to lose 9lbs a fortnight I'd stop drinking water.

I do 2-3 sessions of tennis a week (usually 2 hours in length) and often 1 or 2 squash matches a week. I cut down on big unhealthy lunches and bedtime snacks.

And upped the amount of water I drank.
