hello miss/fits/ i have a quick questions.

I am a Grade 12 student, 6feet 148lbs. Trying to build some upper body muscle. Currently, and been doing it for all my life, i have been skipping breakfast and 80% of the week lunch. I get home from school around 3 and i usually cook my self a 3 egg omelet with hashbrowns and sausage, or just a big bowl of pasta.

Is this an unhealthy eating habit. skipping breakfast and lunch and just eating a meal at 3-4, then again at 8. Usually at 8 i eat a huge portion cause i get so hungry. I am pretty sure its unhealthy, but want to hear your opinions.

it's better to eat multiple small meals then one big one.

op here, i really cant find the time in the morning to eat breakfeast or lunch. And when i do get lunch i go out for fast food(just once a month id say).

Eating breakfast is very important, even if it's a small meal. It starts your metabolism in the morning. Even just a piece of fruit, or a granola bar would be just fine.

Also: Eat something nutritious with protein thirty minutes after your workout, when your body is most receptive to nourishment. Try changing up your workouts frequently. Like benchpress 2 or 3 times a week for one week, then pushups the next week, then something else the next. I've heard from many people that less reps with higher weight is better for building raw muscle. I'm more of an endurancefag, so maybe someone else here can explain that more.

Good luck.

yeah, you want to start eating breakfast. why don't you have time in the morning? fuck it, if you don't have time to eat you don't have time to exercise; it sounds more like your time management sucks and you can't be fucked getting out of bed in the morning. if you're gonna be like that, forget putting on weight. the first thing you're doing every morning is putting your body into a catabolic state.

start eating breakfast or forget building muscle.

also, if you want to build upper body muscle, you'll have to start working your legs anyway. can't really seperate them, unless you want to suck your entire life.

Seriously no time for breakfast?
A 'good' breakfast can be something like some left over chicken or a slice cold pizza. It really doesn't have to be a 'breakfast' good, just something to get in your stomach.

I'd advise against it. Maybe 3 times at most. Switch it around with chicken, pork, and salmon.
