Fish oil caplets. I had knee "stiffness" due to the level of exercise I was doing (bi-weekly squats + tri-weekly HIIT sprints). It finally culminated in my knee being stiff as a brick for an entire week, so I got on fish oil. Within 3 days it loosened up, and now I only feel very mild and intermittent stiffness.
What to look for: DO NOT just walk in and grab a 2,000mg fish oil caplet. Flip the bottle over, and find caplets with at least 500mg of EPA and 200mg DHA, and make sure it is per serving, and make sure the serving is a single pill. The most will be found in the double or triple purified caplets (I get the triple purified ones from GNC, 20 bucks for a month's worth). Take the pill twice daily with low fiber meals and enjoy your new-found joint freedom.
The reason I say to look at the serving size is if the serving is 1,200 mg and it's only got 400mg combined of EPA and DHA, you're getting a lot of garbage along with the good stuff.
