OP again.
Yeah. that's more what I was thinking. At the gym, my routine is a 250 to 300 calorie / half hour-ish bike run and then go to the gym, and this is on top of riding my actual bike a half hour to and from the bike park. The weight lifting/strength is no issue at all though, and as far as that goes I'm really satisfied with the results so far. I have stopped drinking any kind of carbonated drinks/soda/canned drinks and so on, about a month ago, and I'm sure that will make a big difference.
