Fat -> Skin -> Skinny? Anonymous
Hey /fit/. One year ago I used to weigh 152 pounds. I felt horrible, didn't look good at all.
My fat dribbled over my belt.
Today I weigh 125.5 pounds, losing roughly 1 pound a week. I still look bad.
Now instead of fat hanging over, I have a lump of loose skin that looks even worse.
I've tried working out and lifting weights to tighten the skin, but it stays roughly constant.
I'm 17 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and I want to be able to bend forward and not have a single bit of skin touching itself (you know what I mean).
What should I do? (I'd like something...healthy)

Maybe not thinner, but I want this skin to tighten. I have quite a bit of loose skin hanging from losing that fat.

I think most of what people will say to do will be eat more protein and do more weight lifting. Ab work every day may help out with the excess skin problem but I don't know for sure.

Like, crunches? I do at least 300 a day every other day. Situps, maybe 50 every other day (not the day I do crunches)...just whenever I get around to it. God I need a camera...
Pic related (it's me).

you need to induce hypertrophy to your abs by adding weighted resistance to your crunches. the rectus abdominus, when strengthened and developed, is the body's natural girdle.

Thanks, I'm going to bed now. Will research more on this tomorrow.

Gain weight. Start a lifting program, and eat healthy food. If you were 5'8" and 152 with a gut, then you obviously had a shitty diet. Use this 120ish weight as a jumping board and gain 20 pounds of muscle. It'll help the skin fit better over more surface area and you'll look a lot better than you do now (you're underweight).
