Gentlemen.I am 6'1", 173 lb. which is a pretty good weight.but I have a bit of excess fat areound my tummy, and some sort of "lovehandles" type thing. Biking 30 minutes a day and eating well enough to get rid of it in a month or two?what else should I try.I'm pretty weak, and I can only do like, 17 push-ups before I give in to pain.
Push ups won't help with "tummy fat" or lovehandles. Keep biking, and if you want to actually look decent, do some situps or whatnot.

Is doing the eliptical as good as biking?
