sup /fit/beginning today, I'm starting a very strict routine to help turn my body into something useful.. (skinnyfag btw) I am about 5''9 135 lbs. I am a fit guy, work 9 hour shifts for a building supplies company which is mostly heavy lifting - my problem, of course along with everyone else, is being 135lbs. and not being able to gain weight AT ALL with my eating habits, tiny apetite, and metabolism.at first I tried eating very high-protein, forcing myself to finish large meals, snacking on meat whenever I could, etc. but this didn't help.I've come to the understanding (I think...) that the best way to gain weight for muscle building is by a eating alot of meals, getting regular with a breakfast/lunch/dinner every day and not missing meals (something I am terrible at), eating lots of things like... bread, pasta, meats? but still maintaining a balance in terms of other food groups for health..anyways, sorry for the long intro, but my question is: I am going shopping tonight to find things I can eat over the course of a week (starting tommorow, thursday, until next thursday) and would like advice regarding... how much protien I should aim for in a day, calorie intake, how much weight I will be able to gain and how fast, and of course, what food to get in general.tl;dr I'm skinny, what do I eat to get big? and im looking for specifics, im really ready to change my body here.pic unrelated
Im not reading all that, but if you are skinny you need to eat more, workout with heavy weight and eat more.
Whey protein shakes.lots of cals - lots of protein, so you'll get bigger without just ballooning
