I've been trying to lose weight recently. I have been going to bed at 11-12 and getting up at 6am to workout and then jog for about half mile or so.

I sometimes take a nap about an hour after...will this mess up my metabolism at all and should I try to stay awake?

I am a 16 years old, is 6 or 7 hours enough sleep for me or should I try to get more?

8-9 hours is what you should be shooting for, this is continuous not your stupid wake up work out go back to sleep thing.
