BE HONEST /fit/

How much weight did you gain your first year of college?
>> Anonymous
I was a lazy fuck in High School - so I actually lost 20 pounds. 6'5" 210 -> 190.
>> Anonymous
Yeah, I did the opposite as well.
>> Anonymous
18 pounds
>> Anonymous
Probably lost a few also
>> Anonymous

>> Anonymous
Gained about 10 lbs

fast food ;_;
>> Anonymous
i lost 90 lbs my first year of college /flex
>> Anonymous
lost about 10
>> Anonymous
I lost 10 pounds the first month and never gained it back. I attribute that to our campus being huge and having hills everywhere.

Then a few months later I discovered the wonders of a free world class gym, and haven't gained/lost weight but I've definitely lost fat and gained muscle.
>> Anonymous
I started to eat healthier when I got into college, since it was pretty cheap to buy healthy food in bulk. I didn't do any hardcore exercising, I maybe ran for 30 minutes two or three times a week if I could, but I used my car only for going to my parent's place or grocery store. I lost about 7-10 lb through not even trying.
>> Anonymous
i lost 20 lbs because the dining hall food was gross and i had to walk everywhere in florida.
>> Anonymous
I haven't started college yet but, already being a pretty dedicated lifter, I hope to gain a good few lbs.

I ain't a big drinker either (I love getting slaughtered but got tired of the marathon puking involved) and I know how to eat well on the cheap; I expect I'll do fine.
>> Anonymous
Went in at 115 pounds, went up to 130 when I started exercising, now I'm down to 120 since I don't have time to exercise anymore. (Yes, I gain weight from exercising. I have virtually no fat on my body as a result of my metabolism)
>> Anonymous
Gained 15 pounds first year lost 30 pounds second year not skinnyfag
>> Anonymous
should of said now*
>> Anonymous
Lost 6, actually--167 to 161.
>> Anonymous
As the average denizen of /fit/ where everyone is 6'6" and well-hung, I naturally shed 30 pounds of fat during my freshman to become 255 lbs at 5% bf.

I know you think I'm lying, so don't be a stranger. Just hit me with your best shot. I'm pretty much perfect.
>> Anonymous
I actually lost weight. Fuck yeah! It was alarming to see how many fellow high-schoolers put on weight after a couple years. I honestly felt like I was the only one doing right for myself.
>> Anonymous
I lost about 20 pounds.

I actually am 6'6", my penis size is average, and I've never naturally lost more then 30 pounds in a year. I've worked for everything I've gotten.
>> Anonymous
I went from 170-145, and I was sick constantly. Drinking instead of eating and all that.
Years later I ballooned to 225-230 from being lazy, now I'm at a happy 175.
>> Anonymous
i weighed 180 from high school, end of freshman year im pretty sure i was 214. now about to start junior year, joined boxing team last semester, down to 175 (y)
>> Anonymous
those COLLEGE shirts are so fucking stupid.
>> Anonymous
My weight didn't change at all, although I did put on a decent amount of muscle (musclehead roommate=best thing that ever happened to me). I was/am kind of a fatass to begin and end with, so I've long since stopped putting any credence in the number on the scale. 5'10, 207, for those interestedd.
>> Anonymous
170 to 185. I'm glad though because prior to that I could never gain any weight. I'm 6'3"
>> Anonymous
at the beginning of the year i was 295 by the end i was 245. i just finished my second year and i'm 225.
>> Anonymous
None. I probably lost weight since the cafeteria was so shitty.
>> Anonymous
I lost like 30 lbs.

College is the perfectly place to lose weight if you're stingy and don't want to spend money on food.

And if you don't drink.
>> Anonymous
>College
>don't drink.

Have fun not having fun moralfag.
>> Anonymous
Was already in decent shape and I lost like 20 pounds first year of college because I picked up a contruction job to pay for it.
>> Anonymous
>>259251
If you don't drink in college you fail anyway.
>> Anonymous
Lost like 21 pounds my freshman year, but when I joined a fraternity and actually had a reason to go out and eat, I gained most of it back.
>> Anonymous
I lost 45 pounds my first semester at uni. The bad cafeteria food discouraged me from snacking, and we had a free-play DDR machine (in b4 troll call).
>> Anonymous
220 Freshman year
245 Junior year
210 Senior year
170 2 years out
>> Anonymous
Gained like 17 pounds freshman year, moved up to 185. However, sophomore year I got into fitness and dropped to 172
>> Anonymous
I gained like -40 pounds

Yeah.
>> Anonymous
I went from about 190 to 160.

I didn't want to gain anymore weight when I went to college, I wanted to lose it.

I just drink water and get salad whenever I'm in the cafeteria, and I also try to get the healthiest, least fried food they serve at the time.
>> Anonymous
I lost 20ish. Mainly because I was buying drugs instead of food.
>> Anonymous
No idea. But I did. I'm guessing around 5 Kg.
>> I skank to post rock
didn't really change so much, first semester worked out on a lot at the free gym and gained muscle. second semester I was in Italy and had to be practically anorexic not to gain weight because of all the food and lack of gym. most people there gained at least 15- 20 pounds
>> Anonymous
Went from 120 to 140 within a year.
Stopped doing cardio and started to bulk up.
Unfortunately I got lazy halfway in the year and stopped. Now I'm just fat.
>> Anonymous
:D
I'm going off to college in about two weeks, so all this "I lost weight in college because of nasty food" stuff is pretty damn encouraging. Supposedly Georgia Tech has nasty dining hall food.
>> Anonymous
I'm an off campus student, but holy shit how fat I would get with every day being all you can eat, I don't even want to know. I would spend my cheat days at the res caf. we would make waffles, eat tacos, there was so fucking much..
>> Anonymous
200 pounds. ;_;
>> Anonymous
I stayed the same, though I lost muscle and gained fat. That's not going to happen this year though. I have a solid workout schedule now.
>> Anonymous
Gained 15 pounds cus I couldn't cook for shit,
aka every night was junkfood night
>> Anonymous
>>260491
I'm glad youre looking forward to starving yourself

idiot
>> Anonymous
I honestly dropped 10 lbs my first semester because the cafeteria food was so bad. I gained 15 back by the end of the year but mostly muscle
>> Anonymous
>>259262
>>259274
Lol. It's not that I don't drink because I'm a "moralfag" but the money spent on me actually getting drunk is way too much. Not to mention that I have to drink so much just get a buzz that the next day I have a huge hang over.
>> Anonymous
>>260923
So you're saying that you get a hangover from being buzzed the night before? Weak.
>> Anonymous
>>260962
last time i got a buzz going, it took 4 shots of bacardi rum, two shots of grey goose, three shots of absinthe and like three glasses of sangria. after all that, i only got a buzz. my friends were passing out when they drank like half of what i drank, and yet i still couldn't get more than a buzz. and yet...i got a hangover and my friends didn't. you tell me why, and tell me why that's weak.
>> Anonymous
I gained weight the summer after because I often met with old friends over restaurant meals.
>> Anonymous
12lbs
>> Anonymous
>>260994
neither the amount of alcohol you drink or the lies you tell make you a man, you lying non man.
>> Anonymous
>>261042
i'm not lying. i was explaining why i don't drink. it's impractical for me to get drunk from a purely monetary view. i have to drink a lot get buzzed, and even then i've drunken so much alcohol that the hang over is not worth it.
>> Anonymous
I lost about 4 pounds. 112 lbs to 108 lbs.

I walked a lot in my first semester because my school is spread out over the city and I didn't like crowding on the bus. I also didn't have a proper grocery store nearby so I wasn't very enthusiastic about the food I did have.
>> Anonymous
>>261050
Word. I get killer hang overs... enough to just turn me off from drinking. That, on top of the calories and the cost. Otherwise, I used to really enjoy it.
>> Anonymous
>>261077
yeah. i rarely drink nowadays. the first time i actually got a buzz it took a lot of alcohol and the hang over was horrible. and i drink a lot of water so it isn't the dehydration.
>> Anonymous
Lost 40 pounds.
>> Anonymous
bounced up some 10 lb by winter break, my planned time to burn it off. knee injury, couldnt run. so i stayed there til spring break where i starved/ran it off entirely and more.

never again
>> Anonymous
Female, 5'8".

My twin brother also goes to my university. What I lost my freshman year he gained plus some. (He's into bodybuilding, but nothing professional.)

I lost 25 pounds, he gained 30-40 something after he toned down the bulk, or as I call it, Fatty Phase II.

Cafeterias are pig disgusting and I chose to walk. Campus is pretty much a series of hills. Also helps that I started ~2 hours of cardio a day.
>> Anonymous
lost about 20 freshman year because i got anorexic. gained 40 sophomore year. now i lost 20 and am back where i started.
>> Anonymous
I lost 25lbs, it is easy to be over 300lbs in highschool since you just go straight into your room and eat pizza when school is done. But when you are in college and surrounded by hot chicks at all times, and their is a gym you can use for free you have no excuse to stay fat.
