I started skipping a while back, and after doing about 10 minutes straight everyday my feet started caining... I gave them a rest for a few days, and they're better now. Now they're stronger I can do it with no harm.
I think you should rest for a few days, then just gradually increase the number you do. 250-odd is pretty extreme from nothing. Start of with a total of 50, then 100, then 150, then 200, then 250. Give the muscles and joints time to strengthen up.
