hi /fit/ , when trying to get muscle size and mass how many sets should you do for a muscle group during a workout.

Say im working on my chest, how many sets of bench, dumble fly should I do in total for max gain without hurting myself

Never do any more than 10 reps, and limit your sets to around 4 or under. This goes for any exercise, and make sure the weights are stacked too about 75% of your 1 rep maximum. Try going up in weight from that even, whilst lowering your reps but maintain the set amount.
