I think they're angry because they get this a lot.
Anyway... To keep it basic - To burn fat, run outside. if that's not plausible, use an indoor track. If not that, a treadmill.
Do some HIIT. jog 10 minutes and get your heart rate up, then alternate between sprints and jogs until you die.
And then do SQUATZ, crunches, push-ups, lunges, etc... to build tone.
