I'm 6'2, 150, mostly (body) fat. I've never worked out in my life. I've read up a decent amount on the P90X workout plan, and I figure I'd give it a shot. Does anyone know if this plan is any good? It focuses on getting lean, which is what I want.

Dont get this. This is for the advanced. They even include a dvd that tests you if your strong enough to endure the rest of the dvds. Since you have never worked out, just go for the regular Power 90. When your done with that, go ahead and go for the p90x.

or just find the torrent :P of the regular or both. THIS IS THE INTERNET. USE IT.

Much appreciated. What's the difference between the two workout plans? (other than one being harder than the other)

The regular Power 90 mostly consists of Cardio and bodyweight workouts. Some weights. Mostly just to lose body fat. As for the P90x, mostly consists of high intesity weight lifting and cardio. You can get ripped with p90x but still challenging.

Does the Power 90 workout come with a diet plan as well? And do I need any extra tools? (dumbbells, pullup bar, etc.)?

Both the power 90 and p90x come with diet plans. And yes, you will need it all for p90x. Even has a pullup bar on the cover :D

Well based on what Anon said, I guess I'll start with Power 90, (not P90X)

I don't see how you can be 6'2 and only 150 pounds, but still think you're fat. I highly recommend www.crossfit.com, best workout program there is, and it's free. it's a whole community following the same program and they all share how its going for them
