Holy fuck I just ran through Ab Ripper X for the first time.

Holy. Fuck.

I am quite fit, under 10% body fat, and I could not go the whole way.

For those of you who've attempted this freak of nature workout, how did you go about managing the whole thing? Tips?
>> Anonymous
aint nothin to it but to do it
>> Anonymous
>>295467

But is it common to be UNABLE to do the whole thing for awhile?

Do I just shorten the reps?
>> Anonymous
Everybody wanna have a six pack but don't nobody wanna do the ab ripper X.
>> Anonymous
i gave up, its kinda fucking impossible

THE ONLY WAY TO GET THE RESULTS AND THE SCULPTED ABS THAT YOU WANT...IS THAT YOU'VE GOT TO BRING IT

Where can I get the Ab ripper X video?
I think I did it already but it might have been the wrong one
>> Anonymous
>>295492

I don't really know much about the P90x system so I could be wrong, but I think I read somewhere that it's a 90 day workout through videos, but there are different videos so you don't have to watch the same thing every time...So I think there might be variations.

ab ripper x and the moar intense sequel abs core plus are both on youtube.

the easiest way to save them is to install a firefox extension that can save files from youtube and other places.

i used to jerk off to this guy's informercials.

what a silly 12 year old i was.

PROTIP: You won't see your six pack unless you run at least 10 miles a week.
>> Anonymous
How many reps are to be done?
>> Anonymous
>>295624
Fuck that nigga, I run 40 miles a week and I still can't see my abs.
>> Anonymous
>>295677
25 each exercises, there's 11 of them in Ab ripper X. Takes 15 minutes to do if you don't take pauses.
>> Anonymous
p90x+ abs/core workout will destroy you then if you add trouble with the ab ripper x

I run 0 miles a week and have a six pack.

i fucking love ARX. in the manual, it says you can start out at 15 reps instead of 25 but if you dont wanna be a pussy and see awesome results like i did, just pause for 15-45 seconds and start up again, he tells you to several times if you cant
>> Anonymous
>>295794
nope
>> Anonymous
>>295464
haha, just wait till Plyo!
>> Anonymous
P90X will destroy you
Tony was in his mid 40's when he made the videos, yet Horton can make you cry every day for 90 days if you can survive that long
>> Anonymous
This is an overkill, if your goal is just getting a six pack. What you will get here, is a fucking killer core.
>> Ser Davos !2faq12i6cM
Im on week 3 of p90x and I still can't complete all of the Ab Ripper excersizes. Its mainly the ones where you have to hold your legs in the air for 25 reps (Phifer Scissors and Heels to the Heavens). I just can't get them up there or straighten the out. I just modify a bit by bending my knees into 90 degree angles and still get a brutal workout, but hopefully Ill be able to get through it all with correct form in a few weeks. Just got to keep at it. I couldn't do shit when I first started but Ive already got mad results all over. Keep at it and modify where you puss out op.

I LOVE P90x. It's turning me from a fat ass to a fit ass.

I got rid of my gym membership and all my other DVDs. Yoga is insane.
>> Anonymous
I'm not very fit at all, but I guess I have a good core from running as hard as I can every day. I'm more like 12-14% bodyfat, with no visible abs.

Yet for me, ab ripper x was easy shit. Run more?

>>296590
Nope do the exercises the hard way

Tony Horton is smolderingly hot.

I couldn't even finish the whole thing yesterday
I died at 20 at heels to the heavens

that stuff freakin kills
but I plan to do it twice a week atleast
>> Theodore Roosevelt
I just looked at some P90X videos, including ab ripper.

Looks gay as fuck. Why you would do this stupid shit is beyond me.
>> Anonymous
I did the whole thing, have more body fat than you but it was pretty grueling. The arm and chest workout was the one I couldn't finish
>> Anonymous
>>297024

I also died at heels to heaven. I took a five minute break and started back up again though. I'll just use that as a halfway marker now though.
>> Anonymous
Ain't nothing, but a peanut.
>> Anonymous
people, you do realize that you should do this AFTER a full workout, as in finishing the workout with this.
>> Anonymous
>>297364

Isn't that impossible?
>> Anonymous
>>297381

Look at the training program.

as an example, for a double.

Morning - Cardio X
Day - Chest, Shoulders and Triceps, THEN Ab ripper X and you finish of with Yoga X.
>> Anonymous
>>297391

Too many X's.
>> Ser Davos !2faq12i6cM
>>297364
Thats what I do, and its not as bad as youd think. After Legs & Back today i could barely stand up, but my abs were fine so its not really a problem. Just do the cooldown from the previous video and get some water.
>> Anonymous
I do it all. But only in like two or so hours thought. I need lots of breaks, althou I'm a weak as shit fat ass.
>> Anonymous
How often does /fit/ do Ab Ripper X?

Do they mean do it normally and you'll see results at day 90 or do it 90 days straight?

I do abdominals every other day since I have A LOT of exercises on my plate due to the sport I play, so is doing ARX on my abdominal days instead of my usual 300 situps a good idea? Or do any of you do it every day?
>> Anonymous
>>297391
good god thats just short of a 4 hour workout total
>> Anonymous
>>298222
Try it, see if you can run through it instead of your ab workout. If you feel sorer, or can't complete it, then switch to using it until it's easy. If it's easy, stick to what you do then if it's harder for you.

Not overly complex.
