OK, here's a question for you guys.

My bones are constantly popping or cracking. Almost anytime I move they make noise. I could be sitting at work then get up to get something from outside my office, and it sounds like a drum beat in my body. I stretch daily, lift, and am a fairly active person. Is there any reason why my body makes so much noise? Thanks.

Sir, calm down, you're going to give yourself skin failure. The symptoms you describe lead me to believe that you are suffering from bonus eruptus, a rare disorder in which the skeleton tries to jump out of the skin. The only way to stop it is through transdental electromicide. I'll need a golf cart motor and a thousand volt capacimator, stat.

lol i do this too. especially when doing dips and pull ups and stuff. imagine squats!
apparently it's normal as long as it doesn't give you pain which apparently for some it does. sux2bthem2bhonest

As long as it doesnt hurt its fine. You may have crepitus; which is where your joints crack. If it cracks without pain it's nothing to worry about I would say.

Yeah, this happens to me too, as well as a friend of mine. I don't think its anything to worry about though.

i get this.
i've no idea why it happens, it doesn't bother me though. it only serves to make people give me funny looks when my arms crack really loudly.

When I do pushups this happens pretty bad. It's weird, but nothing to bother me to bad.

Ive got a similar condition and I had a doctor explain that having slightly elastic ligaments can cause joints to pop and click simply because of improper tracking. It's nothing serious, similar to inadvertantly cracking your knuckles, and it should go away as you age and become less stretchy.

That said, it could also be caused by a muscle imbalances. For example when I come up from a crouch my knee grinds terribly because my outer Quad is very dominant which puts stress on the kneecap. If that's the case you just need to train up the lesser used muscles so they balance out.

Also, amputation. It fixes everything.
