So i went downstairs and i made a cup of coffee for the first time in my life because i felt like it. It tastes like shit.

I need to stay awake and do the shitloads of homework i need to do. i've never dealt with this back in high school.

What do you guys eat/drink/do to stay awake?

Cocaine and amphetamines.

I find it impossible to believe you finished highschool without ever tasting coffee. With that said, wake up daddy and ask him yourself.

Coffee is something that you just have to muscle through until you can stand the taste. It's pretty hard to get along in real life if you don't like coffee and beer.

If your finding it really hard to get a taste for coffee, there's this sort of syrup that you can put in your milk for some good tasting coffee.

Ugh.

Fucking pussies. Because you haven't gotten accustomed to the "shit" taste of coffee or it's effects, even if you drank loads of it your body wouldn't know how to cope with the amount of caffeine you're overloading it with. Then you won't be able to function at all, and you won't be able to do your homework.

This happens to a lot of idiots who decide that, despite never drinking coffee, they're going to pour down 5 cups of it down their throats half an hour before their SATs start. And then fail miserably at them.

Drink soda, and drink it constantly. Stop drinking it and sugar lows will come down and make you pass out. Eat a lot, stay in a well lit room. If your homework is on a computer and the screen is the only thing lighting your room, give up now.

Make coffee or go to the gas station to get coffee. Drink it.

Rinse and repeat for a month, you'll learn to love coffee

I was exactly like you when I started drinking coffee, but now I fucking love it. I wish I could have some right now, but its 1 in the morning sadly

hey buddy you are screwed but i wish you luck. go buy an energy drink... actually go buy a whole pack of energy drinks, red bull should do the job. i really feel sorry for you if you can't brew a decent cup of joe. i'm hispanic and i've been drinking great coffee ever since i can remember. next time you try brewing coffee, buy a coffee pot that looks like the one in my pic. this one is made by an italian company called bialetti and the best coffee, bar none, is made from pots that look like this one and i fucking know my coffee. anything thats plugged to the wall, makes shitty ass coffee and thats what you probably have at home. as far as the coffee blends, there's nothing better than cafe bustelo. remember to add lots of sugar (2 or 3 tbsp) . look it up brah. here's to you becoming a better coffee maker.

Don't drink coffee before bed unless you really need to stay up ALL night. Even just a cup will ruin a night of sleep (even if you manage to fall alseep it'll be crappy sleep). If you just wanna stay up a couple extra hours, movement, deep breathing, and good old fashioned concentration is the way to go.

I never had coffee before I graduated. Though when I was a senior all the freshmen and sophomores were starting to drink it. I think this must be a recent thing.

Graduated in 2003, btw.

In my fatter days, I had an absolutely horrible finals week workload. I was able to down like three energy drinks + a few starbucks bottled frappaccinos a night. I was awake and functioning on like two hours of sleep a night. I passed with A's and B's.
