So I started a new routine today. I wanted to do the bent-over rows with barbell but every barbell at my gym is at a different rack (like power rack and cage and stuff like that)

so i just guessed at a place to to my bent over rows (i knew not to use the squatz rack after murking loar here)

pic related, i used this looking thing because i couldn't figure out what the fuck it's for

cr;nl What the fuck is this contraption for?

and yes, that's a raised platform you're supposed to stand on, and when i got there, the barbell was on that black "ball height" stuff

Looks like a Studt platform.

i can't find a picture and "studt platform" with quotes on Google gives one spammy hit

infos, please? What's it for? I've never seen anyone using it. And I was hoping to find a pic to see if that's really what it is. The purple was some kind of carpet (very, very thin) and the black "ball height" things were adjustable (as evinced by my shitty "circles" I drew in nine thousand hours in ms paint)

I just put the barbell across the two lower silver bars I drew and did bent over rows there (although it was hard as I kept almost hitting my knees--hooray for very inflexible hamstrings)
