For years now, i've been observing this really annoying behaviour of my hands. When have to use my hands a lot, for example if i'm carrying something heavy, they get extremely red and warm. It's much worse if this occurs in cold weather conditions and if i then go back inside. They then stay that way for up to half an hour, even if the rest of my body is back to normal. It's not like they hurt, but it feels really uncomfortable and annoying to do anything with my hands until they recovered, feels like they're throbbing with blood. Other people have also noticed that my hands assume this unhealthy looking shade of red.

What helps is to let some cool water run over them for a few seconds, but i'm not always in the right situation to do that. I also try to keep them in a position that's higher than the rest of my body, to prevent more blood from running through them.

Does anyone know what the fuck i'm talking about here?

Um, I have something like that where the tip of either one of my ears gets really hot, though the rest of me can be cold.

I think I know what you're talking about - I get the same thing, but only in cold weather.
If it's occuring in warm weather too, my guess is you have circulatory or heart problems, maybe even erythroid hyperplasia. In any case, you should see a doctor.

i'm guessing: I wonder if this has to with circulation getting cut off somehow? but... it had pinched nerves from coming out between tense muscles, still get them, but this is not the same, so ur up shit creak.
