fellow mis/fit/s. ive reached a limit with my SQUATZ.
I am currently able to do 275 to parallel and can not do more with good form. My knee physically does not want to let me go any farther down. I tried a front squat to compensate as that places the weight differently and its better for you back. I felt like i was going to choke myself with the bar What would fit advise ?

You need to deload. Take a week off, and then when you start again your SQUATZ numbers should go down 10-15 pounds. This will set you back 3-4 weeks, but when you start over going down all the way shouldn't be a problem anymore. Congratulations, you're not a n00b anymore.

Yup, most of the /fit/ old guard will help each other or the well-meaning new guys out. Who we don't help is the stupid newfags that never bother to lurk and spout off retarded fitness myths every 9 seconds.

Oddly enough, I've never had too much of a problem going down too far. The only times I did were when I plateaud at 2 plates and 3, and I just downed the weight a bit and went deeper than before, faster and higher reps (10-12 as opposed to 4-8). Like the guy said, just deload for a bit.

More SQUATZ

You need to keep your back arched and your whole body tight if going down all the way. You're going to need very flexible hamstrings if you plan on doing this, so stretch those suckers.

I think this is part of my problem. Flexibility has been an issue for the last two years. After reading more on the theory of deloading, im gonna give it a try. who cares about the weeks. I dont have a deadline, i just have goals to reach....
