How much do you lift per dumbbell for bicep curls?
Include measurement (kg, lb)
>> Anonymous
55lbs if I'm doing a set of 10. For a one lift max probably 65.
>> Anonymous
i do 25lb 100 per arm

i'm too cheap to buy new weights

So you 1 rep max is only 10lbs heavier than your 10rep? Sounds like your either wrong about your 1rm or cheating too much on your 10x

100 split into separate sets?
>> Anonymous
55lbs 10reps
50lbs 15reps
45lbs 20reps
40lbs 25reps

well I lift a set of 15 for 15kg, but from what I remember my max is only about 20kg

Bicep curls are for posers. The most useless and overdone exercise evveeeer

it makes you arms look big, and the ladies love big arms.

most of the muscle mass in your arms comes from your triceps. If you want to impress the ladies try dips and tricep extentions.
>> Anonymous
If you fags are going to curl at least do full-extension preacher curls.

I haven't done biceps in a while but I predict I can do 40lbs. x 10 reps

What the hell are dips? Do I need fucking Tostitoes to work out now? Maybe my salsa intake is directly proportional to my muscle mass increase. I'm confusst.

you can also do dips at home like off the edge of your couch or your bench if you have one

I tried that and tipped it over ;_;

Also include forearm length for accurate work calculation.

40 lbs for like 6-8.

Concentration bi's only though.
>> Anonymous
40 lb. 12 reps
40 lb. 8 reps
35 lb. 10 reps

I could probably do 50 lb. 10 reps, but would rather have use of my arms the next day for other things.

This is a weird board but whatever. 100 pounds each arm

20lbs 3 sets 40 reps per set
>> Anonymous
1 lb, several hundred reps, 3 or more sets a day.

I do normal curl dropsets as a final thing before I leave the gym on the day I work arms.

Preacher curls and any sort of variant are easily better, but I do those as well. The curls are pretty much just to make sure I've burned myself right out.

I do all of my current work with 8lb weights. I have wrist tendon issues (had bilateral wrist tendinitis for years) and am female. I can lift more, but I'm trying to take it easy on my wrists until I have health insurance again. (Physical therapy, even with insurance, is EXPENSIVE! I hated it, but the doctor was knowledgeable.)

i do 30 pound curls for 10 reps and then 7 reps. guess i'll have to get some new weights fairly soon.

Currently, it's "down" to 40-44lbs for 3 sets of 10. In the olden days, I used to do around 30lbs and like 100 for each arm. 20, 20, 20, 20, 20. Then people started ragging on me for "doing it wrong", and I did heavier.

Prefered doing a buttload rather than a few ultraheavy, but it's at least had _visual_ results.
