when it has nothing to do with healthiness of the diet, it is completely irrelevant to /fit/. there is another a board for discussing what you eat if you are going to disregard health aspects.

Vegetarianism is a lifestyle choice usually associated with health and fitness. These are arguments against it, which make sense because its stupid. Protip: If you need to take supplements to get all your necessary vitamins, you're not eating the right shit.

from /ck/ (yes i surf there too, bite me):

I never understood vegans, because every vegan I have ever known personally

1 ) Complained about how unhealthy meat and dairy were, but smoked and drank hardcore.

2 ) Wouldn't wear leather or eat eggs because you were hurting an innocent organism, but were pro-choice as far as abortion goes.

"Aren't redskins and indians just as offensive?"
"No Wendy, PETA doesn't care about people."

I've been vegan for about 7 years, and let me just say - I'm fucking sick of all the pussies who think by becoming vegan they will immediately be some icon of health.

I'm vegan because of personal ethics, I don't delude myself with the idea that somehow cutting out two major food groups is an immediate step towards optimal health.

Thank you.

A real reason to not be vegetarian: it's cheaper and easier to get complete proteins from meat and fish and eggs, which are forbidden from veggie diets.

That's it. But any person with a regular IQ and good planning can go start a vegetarian diet and easily get enough nutrients. Having the consistency to stick with it is a good trait, and disciplined vegetarians can do other shit well.

Low tier: the faggots whose diets depend solely on taste.

I would be your friend, even if you are a vegan.
