Fuckin HELP jdA
Right /fit/, i was on a squat machine earlier, squatting around 300lbs, so nothing too heavy but not too light.

I was casually bringing myself back up, when all of a sudden i felt this weird feeling in the red part of the picture, as if it was tearing or pinging something, i honestly dont know. From what i've heard from others though, it was nowhere near painful enough to be a tear.

I was using the technique shown on the machine, so i know i was doinitrite.

Now it feels like i've bruised one of my ribs, i cant breathe in properly on the left side of me if im sitting upright or standing upright.

What the fuck have i done /fit/?

Pic related, its where the pain is.

as long as it doesn't hurt, it's fine.
Those are the muscles you target with deadlift after all.

RON PAUL /fit/

So I have, in all seriouslyness, a cracking sensation whenever I arch my back. In violet is the general area that is affected. It doesn't really hurt, I just don't know why it pops and will continuing to crack it give me arthritis?

I guess you are pressing the air out when going up, right?

I had pains in the same area when I had my pneumothorax. Especially since you mentioned you can't breathe correctly I'd suggest you see a doctor ASAP! Parts of your lung can collapse which can be a threat to your life.

If you want other indicators: Do you have some sort of "bubble" feeling behind/above your lung? Can also be more of a crackle...
Does the pain get more when you breathe heavily? Does it hurt more when you walk (although that might be due to other things as well i guess)?

holy shit i had that pain not too long ago.

eat a banana. potassium helps with sore muscles and shit.

btw, couple days later, i was good to go for more squatting.

Concerning SQUATZ
>> jdA
ok, just sept for like 4 hours, and it turns out, it doesn't get better when i lay down.

It doesnt hurt when i walk, but when i breathe it feels like someones making a fist and pressing really hard into that circled area, so it means i cant get deep breathes.

And i know machines are for pussies, but i've never used a squat rack before, annd today was the first day trying my new routine ;/

Help?

The closest thing I have ever felt to this is random muscle spasms. They run in my family it seems. Only the women too. Anyways its always in my ribs and I can't breath deep either. Longest I've gone with one was about 2-3 hours. The only difference I see here is it happened during working out. Mine usually go away after a while.

collapsed lung, probably wont die.

sadly.

machinefag.

That happened to me once after a 5 rep set of 315lb deadlifts (Im 6' tall, 160lbs soaking wet), it was on both sides of my spine, felt like the muscles were loose and just flapping around almost, went away after like 5 days.

I was on /fit/ one time casually dropping numbers, using some shitty pinched nerve as a cover.

Honestly thuogh, i get a similair thing, it goes after a few days I find.
