Ciprofloxacin? Anonymous
I went to the doctor cause I thought I had UTI (after asking around /fit/).

He took a blood & urine test and found out that there's sugar in my piss... so I decided to cut back on sugar intake. He also checked the blood test results and said everything looked fine.

The thing is, my penis hurts when I pee. I told the doctor my symptoms and he said it's usually a bladder/kidney infection and Ciprofloxacin should do the trick.

Will Ciprofloxacin work?

It was hurting when I peed once and I thought I had a bladder infection too. Turns out it was a kidney stone making its way out. Maybe you should get your kidneys checked?

This talk of kidney stones reminded me of "Friends". Fuck, I can't believe I ever liked that show.

OP: No help here. Sorry.

How?

Free clinics do that kinda shit right?

And how did the pain feel like?

I have no idea if free clinics do it. They took a blood test and then some kind of scan.. I can't remember what I had. Catscan maybe?

Anyway I'm a chick so I don't know if it feels different for guys but it was like.. while I peed it didn't hurt too bad but after the stream died down it was like a firey razorblade hell.

Fuck.

It hurts after I finish taking a piss too.

GOD FUCKING DAMNIT.

So what did you do to get rid of the stone? Plenty of water?

If both things are right then you might have more than one problem. I would get more tests done soon as i can.

I didn't really do anything it just came out. I actually think sex might have done it but I doubt it'd help a penis pass one.

I'd go get more tests if I were you

It is hard to say if cipro is going to work for you without the various bloodwork/labs that need to be drawn, if anything a broad spectrum antibiotic may help with the "burn", have you considered the possibility of an std?

a body cleanse or detox might be in order. doctor probably won't be allowed to advise it though, he could lose his license or some gay established shit like that.

i've never done it, just heard it could dissolve those stones if done right.
