/fit/I was just wondering about how low your heartrate can get with lots of exercise. I've been doing regular, hard cardio for 6-8 weeks and my heart rate is usually around 44 beats/minute. Is that too low? Beforehand my doctors always complimented me on my heart rate (it had always been in the mid to upper 50s even when I wasn't working out). I've got normal blood pressure.Also, when doing cardio you're supposed to get your heart rate into the 170s, but thats more than quadruple my heart rate now. Is that same standard applicable to me?
