I don't lift weights because muscles make you slower.

I drive to the gym so I can walk on the treadmill for half an hour.

Cardio makes your muscles smaller, so I don't do it.

The greatest feeling you can get in a gym or the most satisfying feeling you can get in the gym is the pump. Let's say you train your biceps, blood is rushing in to your muscles and that's what we call the pump. Your muscles get a really tight feeling like your skin is going to explode any minute and its really tight and its like someone is blowing air into your muscle and it just blows up and it feels different, it feels fantastic. I can justify drinking diet soda: it tastes more fun than water. And is way less unhealthy than regular soda. What good is water for anyway? Besides I can just work it off by doing some extra running.

I weigh 280 and am 5'8. Is there a way other than exercise and diet that I can lose weight?

Close grip bench press works your "inner chest"

Wide grip barbell curls work your "outer biceps".

Its simple.

You cannot train a "part" of any 1 given muscle. Due to the all-or-nothing reaction of muscular energetics, THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE. You either use the entire muscle, or you dont use it at all.

What you do use is certain percentages of muscle activation. If you lift only 50% of your 1 rep max (or how much weight you can lift one time), then you're using around 50% of your muscles maximum potential (this is a crude example, mind you). This is why you cannot hit certain parts of a muscle.

You can hit different muscles that are near each other! For example, you DO have an upper and lower oblique! But you dont have upper and lower abs.

As far as egg yolks, the discovery was made in 2006, so dont feel bad if you're still falling for that one. Australian scientist discovered that people who ate around 15 yolks a day did not have higher cholesterol at the end of several weeks. The reason is due to an enzyme in the egg yolk that blocks the uptake of cholesterol (forgot the name of the enzyme).
