ok. so ive been doing about 90 crunches a night for the past month and a half. ive been eating right and im active(softball player) but i still cant get abs. sure its more toned but no definition. help please

Take a look at the way Bill Phillips does his crunches in his Body for Life program. Emphasis is on intensity, not number of reps. If necessary he adds weight. I'm a guy and it worked for me at least.

Err, dumbasses. Well, you aren't all stupid.

But here is what you should do. Instead of just working out your abs, Set up your workouts so they work out your entire body. Rest one entire day then go work out again.

Your body will burn fat from where it's genetically disposed to, not where you train the most. Where you train the most will just have the most muscle.

You burn more fat by having more muscle, muscle doesn't grow if you workout every single day. So rest one whole day. Intensity does help, don't run over an hour.

Two ways to destroy muscle, not eating & working out too hard. Good luck.

it depends what your after. do weighted situps, for added intensity, they'll make the muscle itself larger, and for definition; simply, you have fat covering your abdominal muscles, thus, making them less visable, so lower your body fat percentage...

As a suffix to my earlier statement I'd request that you don't lose too much weight. It's not healthy for girls to reduce their body weight past a certain point, and you're obviously not fat or anything to begin with. There's a reason why it's so much easier for men to get well defined muscle.
