exercise a bit

Your metabolism depends on your activity level. They are directly connected.

eat 5-6 times a day, at least once every two hours. But just eat smaller meals.

That doesn't accelerate your metabolism. The only reason that works is because you give your body less energy to digest at a time.

Not entirely true. It totally boosts your metabolism. Because you have a consistent flow of calories and nutrients, your body won't store excess amounts of fats or sugars as it's get all it needs. Eating 2-3 larger meals promotes starvation mode, which forces the body to hold onto more fat.

So skinny people should eat 2-3 large meals, and overweight people should eat a bunch of smaller meals?

>and insulin sensitivity
Does that mean that you'll notice when you are hungry easier?

Pretty much exactly.

Do weights, HIIT, eat 5-6 smaller meals, drink green tea, take fish oil supplements.

Your metabolism will go through the roof if you are eating right.

no, it means your body is more responsive to the insulin produced. ergo more efficient carb uptake, less fat conversion.
