what i'm going to say will probably peave you who are trying to lose said 50-100 pounds....
at 6'3" 200 isn't really very unhealthy... high body fat and ldl cholesterol are bad....
as such you shouldn't expect to lose X or Y amount of weight, but rather to reach a point where you feel healthy and able to be physically active
a rough estimate of a minimum healthy weight for a 6' man is about 140 (my estimate) more is excellent if it's muscle mass.... bad if it's fatty
assuming you are trying to lose fatty mass aim for 1-3 pounds a week (it'll start out at a higher rate then slow down as you approach your goal)
diet should be primarily healthy foods but unless you're going absolutely extreme, it isn't that hard to find good stuff
overall, a half year to one and a half years
