Looking for a good, healthy breakfast cereal with low GI. Anonymous
Low on the glycemic index is what I need in a cereal. Also, a decent amount of protein. Plus, low in sugar.

All-Bran would have been fine if it didn't have High Fructose Corn Syrup in it. Same with Total.

The only thing I see on here is "Muesli," which I've never seen in the cereal isle.

Anyway, I'm surprised that that site listed Shredded wheat as "high" while the other website I went to listed it as medium. :(

Anyone have any other suggestions?

Count Chocula wants to raise your blood sugar level with high GI foods so that its easier for him to take from you, and more nutritious.

Seriously you don't know what fucking Muesli is? It's not a brand or anything. Google it and I'll guarantee you'll facepalm.

The best cold cereals I can recommend are these:

Uncle Sam (cheapest at $1.50, and my personal favorite)
Ezekiel 4:9
Fiber One Original
Kashi GoLean

Also try out oats. Regular oats are fine, but I like to get multi-grain hot cereals for more fiber and protein for same caloric amount.

OP here.

I always mix Quaker Oats in with my cereal anyway.
