first day at a gym tommorow, been using 2x20kg dumbbells for a while, but grew out of them long ago.

i'm 5'8, 146lbs, 8%bf(according to cheap scales) and have relatively developed triceps, deltoids and quads.

what can i expect to be able to lift, for say deadlifts, squats, benches? i know you can't tell accurately, but it will save me some time instead of starting at like a low weight and just going up 10 for as long as required.

we cant tell at all.

just because you have a couple of relatively developed muscles doesn't mean you're strong.

for squats, start with the empty bar and move up in 10's
for deadlifts start with 135 and move up in 20's
for bench, start with the bar and move up in 10s
