it's all about finger strength and body awareness, if you have neither of them you will never become an elite rock climber no matter how many pull ups you can do
Climb some rocks.
Strengthen your grip and learn to position your body. Your arms will hold you in place and you use your legs to push yourself higher.
Dont fall.
it's all about your most distal muscles. The best way to train for rock climbing.. is by rock climbing. Oh, and rock climbing shoes help ridiculously.
