Ones that fit your feet properly. You can drop 150 and come out with blistered death bubbled feet. Asics or new balance are good brands, within this you will have to figure out your foot type or find a shoe that isn't adjusted to too much to any one foot type. I bought nice new asics and got huge blisters because of my stride length (but I own a pair of asics and new balance and never had this problem). So, it's really best to just run with whatever causes you the least amount of problems and without breaking shoes in you'll only have the opinions of others and guesses.
