Drank a bottle of DXM? Anonymous
Think that's what it's called, cough syrup or whatever. It's been a long time since now (12+ hours) and I'm still feeling disconnected from reality. My eyes are a little bit bugged out and I sort of feel like a robot. How do I get myself back to normal? I'm not normally a drug user so this is odd for me. Thx in advance if I get a reply!

it takes a long time to get out of your system. go to sleep and you should be fine when you wake up.

I believe what you are experiencing is due to the large amount of psychoactive substance you have ingested. These strange, and often times pleasant, feelings you have are commonly referred to as the "high". The "high" is present until the body has a lower level of the substance than is needed to produce it's notable psychoactive effects, at which point the subject may experience a "hangover" (the negative effects of the substance are felt lingering after the high, including dehydration, fatigue, etc.), an "afterglow" (when the positive effects of the of the substance still linger, including positive mood change, clarity of thought, etc.), or some combination of the two.

It wasn't pleasant, I learned my lesson and I'll stick to my weed... but I did sleep for a while (8+ hours) and I woke up still feeling it. Ergh. Thank you for the information though when I come back from the movies I'll just sleep drink lots of water and watch House. ^___^

welcome to robotripping. Enjoy your stay and bask in the round about way you took to get high.... fuck, what happened to kids just buying from a fucking dealer and getting high in a much simpler fashion. really... gram vs fucking bottle.... FUCKING BOTTLE.... especially since that stuff tastes like ass so you are risking being nauseous during the experience....
