help me /fit/!

how much do you think i could lose in 2 weeks at the most? and what would be the quickest way? i want/need to lose atleast 10 pounds by then! help! im 16 years old, 5'6, and currently 198.

Weight lost that fast will come right back 9 times out of 10. And there's really no healthy way to do it. 1-2 lbs a week is healthy and the weight will stay off.

i know :/ im know it wont make a big difference, but it wont be that bad. and its just that a good friend of mine is coming back from Afghanistan by then (i think) and i dont want him thinking "holy shit wtf happend to you" as i used to weigh around 160. thats not perfect either, but you get what i mean. i just dont want to look as big as i do now.

I'm guessing school starts in two weeks.

I would eat right (healthy proteins, veggies, and whole grains) and exercise. Drink plenty of water only. Ignore what's on the scale. You won't see anything good on there, but what others will notice (and you won't) is that you look better. Eating right and working out gives you a good look that others pick up on. Focus on that, because in two weeks, you won't hit any significant goal.

that works. either way, i havnt worked out for a good month and i need to get back on track again. thanks for the advice. even thought a difference in 2 weeks would be nice, i guess i should focus more past 2 weeks and let my friend think whatever.

2 weeks hm? You could lose 3lbs per week if you follow a diet high in protein, low calories, little/no sugar and cardio 4x a week 3miles a day.

I can tell you how to lose 10 lbs. in a day; I wrestled most my life and know a bunch of different ways to make weight. But i'm not gonna tell you cause you're just doing it to impress your boyfriend; plus it's not healthy and you'll gain the weight back in a day or so.

hes not my boyfriend really. just a good friend. and yeah, if ill just gain it back quickly i dont want to bother with it as even if he wasnt coming, i plan on losing more weight.

I know the same tricks, and it's only water weight you loose. So you wont be skinnier and you're dehyrating yourself at the same time... Not the best thing to do to yourself.
