Hi /fit/,
I am sick as a dog due to something passing around my school and work.
I'm assuming its a cold because I have a runny nose, a slight fever, sore throat, etc.
I've been talking a concoction of Chloraseptic, Tylenol, and Claritin, as well as drinking fluids and getting lots of rest.
Am I doing it right, /fit/? Is there anything I can take to speed up my wellness or just let it pass through?

Getting your vitamins and minerals to optimum levels are going to make your immune system stronger, meaning you'll be sick less often and for shorter periods of time. Probably won't matter for this cold, but something to remember.

You're very right, thanks anon.

Also, ignore this jackass. Traditional medicine is more likely to hurt than help, the last thing you need right now is rapid changes in body temperature. Just take your time resting, try to keep eating normally while drinking a good deal, and use common sense. If it doesn't go away within a week, go see a doctor.

I'm not a big fan of "traditional medicine" (how traditional is it if it hasn't been around for very long relatively?) but my advice would be to err on the side of caution. If you think something is at all serious, have it checked out sooner rather than later.

My sister's roommate died recently from something they caught. Eventually he got to the hospital, but apparently it was too late.

It's not traditional medicine, dumbass, it's the same thing as putting a hot humidifer in your room.
