Alright, /fit/, so here's my deal: I'm crashing at a friend's house for a month, sleeping on their futon. I swim pretty regularly, but after moving into said situation, I've started to notice light pain in my lower back, and it's generally just tight back there. I always feel like my spine is out of place or something, and it'll stay like that for the rest of the day. So, the question: is this a core strength problem, or a problem of needing to stretch my back more, or what? Its basically ruining my swims.

You've probably figured it already, but it most likely has to do with sleeping on that futon. What position do you usually sleep in?

Yeah, that futon seemed the most likely culprit. I sleep on my stomach, which my girlfriend tells me is the worst possible way to sleep, so, I guess it's time to switch positions?
