Ok /fit/,
i had a really slouching problem, as in almost a hunchback. I didn't want to get a back-brace because that's for fags. So when uni started and i had to get a new book bag, i bought a North Face. And man, in the past couple of weeks, my problem basically disappeared. This is because the book bag is like a sheet of plywood against you back, thus making you stand straight. So my question is, Is this bad for my back? or am i just making mountains out of molehills?

slouched computer user, leaning into the computer too much.
1. imagine a string attached to the tip top of your head pulling you upright. Like a doll or puppet or whatever.
2. get a kneeling chair.

The bag is just acting as a counter balance. You could have bought any old bag and it would have done the same.

watch your posture; shoulders back and arms at your side while sitting on the center of your pelvis.

at the gym: do supermans and back extensions. stretch out with a foam roller on your back, abs, and hip flexors. rest on any tender muscle mass for 10 seconds while breathing normally, and follow muscle striation while rolling. do SQUATZ~abs flat against quadriceps and ass out. posture fixd.
