2. do every fucking thing you can to attain that goal
3. go back to step one.

Remember, even if things don't go as planned and you don't achieve your goal, in the end you'll have done a bunch of shit that you would've never done otherwise. Everything that matters is the hard work you put in.

Dramatic and lasting change is impossible until it becomes a do or die necessity for you. I was chubby my whole life and went on a bunch of pointless diets until I finally got so fat and so fed up with myself that I knew I'd never get laid again unless I completely changed my life.

And I did.
