Jesus there's so much stupid in this thread.
HIIT is running, or whatever, you just do it in short sprints. And as a former fat slob, HIIT has worked better and kept my interest longer than any boring ass, hour long, jog your way to gay exercise program. The muscle gains with HIIT are incredible.
I used a stationary bike at first, because being a fat slob you have to think about your poor joints. Then I moved up to sprinting.
Still only do about a half hour every other day. In the best shape of my life. 2 minutes of high intensity, 2 minutes of low.
