Dear mis/fit/s, long time lurker first time bitcher. I sincerely need your help!!!! this is more on health than fitness though.

For the past month or so, at night I'm getting EXTREMELY itchy during my sleep, on my legs. It's dricing me fucking batshit insane. It's 7am on a SATURDAY and I'm fucking awake and had a shower already because I cant sleep because of this fucking itching.

Check list
- only my legs
- do not shave legs
- don't have lice
- wash my bedsheets every two weeks
- no change in skincare
- no visible redness, bumps, bites etc etc. -- JUST FUCKING ITCHY

The ONLY explanation that I can come up with is that recently I've been doing a lot of leg training at the gym, and perhaps when I'm sleeping and muscles are recovering/growing i'm 'stretching' the skin and that's what's making me itch?!

Please please help!!! :(!

Are your legs sweating?

If you're doing lots of leg training it's possible, but every unlikely, that your leg muscles are expanding at a faster rate than your skin. That tension can cause itching. If you're training that hard on your legs though, I would suggest cutting back just a tad. There is a possibility of forming stretch marks. Also, there are creams which can make the skin a little more elastic-y, ask your pharmacist about that possibility.

If that's not the cause, then you have leg AIDS.

Possible, the weather is starting to get warmer now that we're entering summer. I might try a lighter quilt. Thanks for the idea!

Leg AIDS is possible, I've been having unprotected calf rubbings with multiple partners recently.. I might ask my personal trainer about this re training etc.

I don't think it's that, It's just simply itching and moving doesnt help at all. Only good ole' fashion fingernails.
