Various meats and fish: Ground beef, steak, boneless pork, chicken, turkey. A focus on what's on special. Eggs if I feel like I'll get use of them. Lots of canned tuna. Cheese

Vegetables: Maybe a couple bags of frozen veggies, otherwise I don't pick it up unless I know I'll use it that day. Otherwise it'll go bad before I want it.

Grains: Pasta. I'm a skinny fag, so my guilty pleasure is to get side kicks and mix meat with them. Whole wheat bread, maybe some bagels. Granola for breakfast and some instant oat meal if I'm not sick of it.

Random: Lots of milk. Cracker, chips, cookies, corn dogs, taquito's, etc. I eat them in moderation (Maybe 3 cookies every couple days. etc) So that I'm never interested in pigging out on junk food, because I have my little taste when I need it.

Everyday: At least 3 litres of chocolate milk

Meats: mince, chicken thighs w/ bone and skin, whatever cut of meat is cheap (varies), sometimes fish.
Starch/grain: Potatoes, steel cut oats, quinoa
Vegetables: My staples are onions, celery, carrots, and lettuce. Everything else varies with price.
Fruits: Seasonal
Dairy: whole milk, cheese
Etc: Eggs, garlic, tea bags, coffee, etc.

I am not a subsistence shopper, so I usually shop once every couple weeks and stock up.

Few cans of tuna

Almonds by the bagfull

Lots of bananas and apples

Beans

Cheese

Wholewheat bread load

Dozen eggs (will start buying and eating considerably more when I move to Uni)

a few gallons of milk

I don't draw too many calories or proteins from solid food. I make up what I can't scoff down (due to ridiculous parents) by putting away a scary amount of milk.

Tom Venuto eats potatoes even while cutting.
He says that some people really place too much importance to the glicemic index. I agree with him. Jesus Christ, just 20 years ago most bodybuilders refered to their builds as "meat and potatoes" build

-Water
-Eggs (usually six dozen)
-Bread
-Water (or at least filters)
-Vitamin Water (which is not a healthy buy, but more of a once in a while treat since it has so much sugar)
-ready prepared fruit
-Other assorted fruits
-etc.

I should really put vegetables on that list, but I can never seem to muster the appetite for them.

People are obsessed with the glicemic index, just that. Potatoes are not really that bad
>> Anonymous
>>319494
do you know if there's anything wrong with the flavored/vitamin waters that have no sugar in them, their usually flavored with splenda or something.
>> Anonymous
>>319500
splenda will give you cancer
>> Anonymous
>>319500

Drink water and eat a peice of fruit. It costs less and you get the same benefit. Or if you're going to bitch about the calories in a fucking apple just pop a vitamin pill instead of one.
>> Anonymous
>>319500
Yes, the artificial sweeter. Just drink water, if you want vitamin, buy them separately, they are supposed to be taken with food
