Protein Powder Anonymous
Hey /fit/

Just bought new protein powder to gain bulk, people have said I am to skinny, I am fit and strong but I need more mass/definition
its specifically for gaining weight/bulk/mass, you get the point
(pic is the brand i got) Musashi Bulk Protein Powder
I have also bought Flax seed oil, heard its good for training n shit

One family friend says that I might lose my six pack while using this protein but eventually it will come back.

I want to know will I lose it? and how long will it take to gain it back

It has taken me near 6 months hard training to accomplish what I wanted, I don't want to lose it!

What they mean is you might gain a bit of fat from using the protein, which could cover up your excuse for abs. As you keep training your abs should grow larger, and you'll get rid of that fat eventually, if you do actually get it. I've been using protein for ages, never noticed any increase in fat.

OP Here,
thanks for "excuse for abs"... -.-"

I do lots of cardio also, so I'm hoping the fat stays off.

How many times per day should I take Protein Powder, I have been hearing after my workout and before I go to bed.

Is this correct?

Yes and no

After your workout the muscles are craving protein, so some protein there with like 50g of pure fucking dextrose will be very beneficial

Why dextrose you ask? Insulin! It jacks up transportation speed

Before you go to bed you want some Casein protein, it's slow releasing whereas Whey is fast

however milk is like 80% casein so you can just drink +1L of that

I dont think it would be practical to drink 1+L of milk.

Are you suggesting I use two different types of protein powders? as such ones with nutrients you suggested...

There's a whole range of supplements you could use to get stronger, transport protein faster, whatever the fuck. When it comes down to it just protein is good for now and it *will* help you gain muscle.

I'm no expert, but if you're not professional theres hardly a need to go all out with the supplements. But if you want to, do some research and go for it.

Why the fuck not? I tend to do it and the only side effect is a full bladder when you wake up
