alright alright
Listen, I used to be 205 poundsat my peak, I'm 6'1
I'm down to a steady 165. I was able to downsize to 180 with mild-moderate exercise, eliminating sodas, and by some miracle, I just felt like eating less. I still ate, tried to snack as little as possible.
When I go to a buffet or something, I plate a little bit of everything and don't rush it. That works for me, but the biggest revelation is to learn to say no - YOU DON'T HAVE TO POLISH OFF THE WHOLE PLATE
With more exercise and continued watch, I've attained 165.
Also, your worst enemy is that feeling near the end of the meal where you think you want more, but you know you'll just feel bloated and disgusted. I came up with a creative and fun way to overcome it -
take the remaining food and decimate it. Got a bit of cake you're not sure you should eat? Pulverize some leftover main course onto it so you won't (and wont want to) eat it! Or you could dump a drink on it/ squash it with a plate, etc.
You might think it's immature or stupid, but I find it gives my body a little time to realize it's full. It helps when you're feeling a little weak on willpower. Sometimes it's best to eliminate an option all together!
