/fit/, recently I discovered that my family has a rather prevalent history with heart and blood problems (I found this out when my mother's heart stopped from being overworked).I'm trying to prevent this from happening to me, and I was wondering if there were any foods/supplements that I could take to help out in this area.

Red Wine.The skins of red grapes contain reservitol (in fact, it is the only known source), which has shown many positive effects including promoting vascular health and combating carcinogens. Essentially, drink enough of the stuff and you just may live forever. Just watch your liver.Google it.
