I'm trying to lose body fat and gain some muscle at the same time, in b4 "OMG 100% impossible!".

I'm pretty new to the gym, only a month in, is the idea of having a daily calorie deficient and taking a protein shake with my workout sound good?

...or are protein shakes just for pros?

protein post work-out is always a good idea whether you're trying to lose or gain weight.

The first six to eight weeks you work out, it IS possible to stay at the same weight and lose fat/get stronger.
After that, you need to actually focus on putting on weight and cutting weight in separate phases.

If you have a caloric deficit at the end of every day, you're obviously going to lose weight. If you want to keep the muscle you have, keep the protein and good fats up.
If you're a skinny-fag, you really should focus on putting on some decent size before you try to lose body fat; you'll look better than you did before anyway.
If you're already somewhat overweight, you can really take it either way.

well, the first thing you need to do is eat less pellets and more hay. Pellets were developed as a cheap way to fatten rabbits for eating. The hay is pure carbs and fiber, so you'll be able to poop more and have plenty of energy for running. God knows you love running, OP. Also, tell your owner to stop eating yogurt treats. As long as you convince your owner to let you run around in the park for at least an hour, and you run like hell, you'll be getting into the shape you want.

Once you're all buff, wanna hook up?
