Alright folks, share your oat recipes here.

Each morning I start with this, usually accompanied with whole fruit that I don't bother cutting or mixing in:

1/3cup Oats
2/3cup Water
1 Egg White
Mixed, covered, and microwaved.
Then I add:
Cinnamon
Raisins
Brown Sugar
Milk

Then I eat.

That sounds pretty fucking tasty, I'm gonna try that tomorrow morning.
Usually I blend Blueberries, and strawberries with water to make a think liquid measuring 1 cup then I cook that 1 cup of fruit liquid with 1/3 cup of cry oats. The end product is a fruity delicious oatmeal. If I have raisins or sliced almonds on hand ill throw those on top as well.
I also eat 2 whole eggs scrambled with 4-8 egg whites every morning.

Oats feed lean muscle mass, lower your fat, clean out your visceral organs and rid any distracting hunger, all the while remaining absurdly versatile and moderate for calorie density.

It's a mans food, a heroes food.

Very nice, you could also substitute the oats for whey and cream of wheat, then pour it on a fry pan for a luxury omelet/pancake thing.

I'm guessing oatmeal is the preprocessed, less-good-for you version of oats.

I personally eat that Quaker maple and brown sugar weight loss oatmeal. Would I be a lot better off if I made my own oatmeal?

Old fashioned, 100% natural rolled oats. Not prepackaged, period.

It would be vastly better if you bought bulk organic oats and made your own, try out our recipe's in this thread so far.

Oats and long hair are stellar counterparts! What fucking ethnicity are you though?

I eat cereal.

I eat like some oatmeal cereal, or whatever. Raisins and some other dried fruits, not much added sugar, no added sweets. I use milk in it, only been eating it for 2 weeks now.

Is that ok? I'm a skinny fucker.

Raw nuts have enzyme inhibitors or somewhackamame shit in their skins, so you soak them for about 5-8 or more hours to keep more enzymes or some shit (mold happens). Pretty much, you get more what you eat because your body can digest more of it but if they arn't raw then it doesn't work (peanuts arn't nuts). That was for nuts but for steel-cut oats you must soak them for 24 hours to reduce the phytic acid first, then you can bring the water to a boil and turn down to simmer and they can be ready in fifteen minutes. You can add all the taste good shit in while you boil them (ten minutes or so in). The phytic acid will block absorptions of minerals and make hard to digest.

I pretty much copypasta'd ALL that information but I don't think the OP's will mind me stealing useful information.

I just eat those flavored Quaker oatmeal bars. The Banana Bread one is delicious. Ingredient wise it's identical to making a regular boal of oatmeal so I don't see a difference.

There's many types of oats but yea..

Steal cut oats are the "best" kind. close to real deal.

Then rolled Oats are the most common ones. Like Quaker oats. This is what i use, not that bad since it takes 5 mins to prep.

Then there's rolled cut oats used..really thing
