Hey /fit, I have a quick question for you.
I'm a 17 year old female interested in losing ~20-30lbs, and was wondering if there any vitamins I should be taking. I don't drink milk or consume most dairy products, nor do I eat red meat.

I'm guessing I need to start taking calcium and iron pills, but what else will make me healthier overall? Currently I feel tired often and don't have much energy. Any help is appreciated.

I recommend this vitamin for you.

1 multivitamin daily, at least. Maybe some fish oil depending on your diet.

take a multivitamin, and start running a few miles every day. Takes about an hour a day. BOOM, the excercise will make you feel much better. No red meat is fine, but switch to soy milk and youll be set.

Dear OP:
Im gonna wild guess that you dont eat much, or eat crap.
Ciggs and coffee are not a food group. Eat healthy, eat good carbs and protein (lentils, quinoa, etc). Things should take care of themselves.
And for god's sake, work out. Skipping rope is cheap and simple.

I wouldn't say I eat badly. (Lots of) fruits and vegetables, bread (unfortunately white mostly because my family doesn't like anything else, otherwise things like Molenburg) and chicken/fish make up the majority of my diet. I snack on yoghurt and popcorn.
I don't eat chips, biscuits/cake or drink soda - only water and green tea.

I've also started going to the gym and doing ~45mins of cardio, 4 times a week.

Am I doing it wrong? :(

Some girls actually need to get injections of vitamins because their bodies can't absorb enough from pills.
