dear /fit/

I've got a slight man boob problem. I've never dieted/had proper exercise routines before, but I've never been an unhealthy eater either, and I'm fairly active. I'm 18, so I realize it could just be the whole hormones thing.

The problem isn't huge. If I raise my arms so my elbows are in line with my shoulders, the skin is pulled tight enough that they're completely "gone". They're not visible through my shirt at all, and you can really only tell they're there if you look at me side-on while shirtless.

Nevertheless, I want rid of them. Problem is, I know nothing about exercising and what exercises work what muscles, so I don't really know what I should be aiming for. In the last couple of days I've been doing pushups, but I don't have any structure to it (I usually just go and go until I can't) and I realize it is a bit naive to just start doing a random exercise that works the area and expect to see results.

So what does /fit/ recommend? I don't particularly care about being ripped, I just want to be flat.
