hey /fit/

I'm a 3d graphic designer, and been doing a shit-ton of work lately, working well for my wallet but turning my eyes to shit. Burning, stinging, itching most of the time, occasionally dark patches under the eyes and unbearable to get direct sunlight in my eyes of any substantial level the day after doing a lot of work.

I have 20/20 vision with regular checkups so there's no eyesight problem involved, but the strain of looking so precisely at pixels all day is really taking its toll. Is there any sort of eye drops or medication (over the counter or prescribed) that claim to help lessen this, that actually work?

Get more sleep generally, take a break away from your monitor every 20-30 minutes and look at something like outside scenery for 5 minutes. Rub your eyes gently with warm water, then cold water. Find an eye drop that says artificial tears to keep them moist.
