Hey,

Two questions /fit/

1. We all know, squats vs leg press, squats win, ALWAYS. On a leg press, we can all pile up the plates ad infinitum. How do I calculate the amount of weight I can handle doing squats, if I already know how much I can leg press (at an angle of 45 degrees)? Let's use the example of leg pressing 300lbs.

2. My friend has decent traps, but the right is frickin huge, and the left is just proportional. How could this be corrected? I think he wants his left one to grow as well.

lol, actual answer to 2- i've heard it's good to isolate, and work the weaker side to failure, then do the same number of reps/weight w/ the strong side. should even out over time

in answer to question one: theres no specific formula that i've ever heard of, though i'm sure some maths nerd would be able to work it out.

when i started squatting i started with an empty bar, then added 2.5kg and 5kg plates till 5 reps was a struggle.
