Finger push ups hurt my fingers. After like 10-15 I usually stop because my fingers can't take it. Do my wrists need to be stronger or something?

stronger muscles can tolerate more pain, to the point it's not really pain anymore.

I think finger exercises would be a waste of time.

Try getting your arms in better shape.

It's going to strengthen your forearm to where you can start working on more finger push ups.

Put your fingers into right angles(might be easier if you position them on a flat surface first) so that they're all at the same level, and pretend they're claws or whatever. Now slam them onto the table. It's important that your hands are cupped. Eventually you'll be able to tap someone on the shoulder and hurt them unintentionally... Which is why I don't tap anyone on the shoulder anymore... My uncle is so good at this that he can break a table in half, with his fingertips.
