So how the fuck does this height thing work?

I was 5'8 in February and I just checked and I'm 5'9 right now. I'm had a wtf moment when I checked it today. Thought that I must have improved my posture.
I'm 19 btw. And I started going to the gym in febuary just in case.

yuh, unless you measured it wrong - straightening up could easily make you at least an inch taller.

Did you measure yourself at different times? All the steps you take during the day slightly compress the discs in your spine, making you a tiny bit shorter.

While you sleep the discs decompress

I measure it in the morning in the gym. I knew about that effect, seemed it wasnt that.

Or possibly the weight of your body forcing your spine down. But that might just be me.

If youve been doing work on your back then that can lead to a better posture as the muscles pull your spine more upright, i guess that could lead to an extra inch, it seems a lot though.

or maybe you just grew an inch. some people grow until they are 21.

Men grow until age 25.
Women grow until age 21.

If you measured yourself (in b4 lol) in the morning, you are 1-2 inches bigger then in the night.
Gravity forces down on your spine and you lose a few inches.
True shit.

the spinal disks lose fluid during the day. When you sleep, they soak up like a sponge again.

I always mesure before a workout i.e. in the morning. And I'm not too sure but 1-2 inches seems a lot of difference.

Heck I aint no expert.
