So about that running....

so...Lets say I have 50 "units" of energy (work with me here)

Running steadily for 30 minutes a day will burn it all out. But running very fast for 10 minutes will do the same.

which is better? Tiring myself out in 10 minutes, or slowly tiring myself out in 30? They're the same, right? I mean, one is quicker, but harder. So which is better?

maybe if your fat ass had more willpower you could have 50000000000000000 units of energy

both expend the same amount of energy but will train your muscles differently. The 30 minutes routine will be better for endurance and the 10 minute for um... sprinting or whatever.

Haha, wishful thinking. They are completely different in focus. Long distance, slower pace will build cardio endurance, and the focus is upon strengthening your respiratory system. Shorter distance, quicker pace is nearly anaerobic, and the focus is upon strengthening your reactive muscles. You are training your body for extreme physical strain. A combination of the two allows you to move faster longer.

Running 10 minutes very fast will not expend your 50 units, and is something you only do occasionally unless you are training to be a sprinter. Pro runners expend those same 50 units + do speed workouts every other day.

just put in the cheat code for more units of energy
