This may sound ridiculous, but next week I have to run 4km for a test at school in a period of time between 15 and 25 minutes, the less time you take the more points you have (15 min and you get max points) and it seems like i can't do it. I went to run in my free time for the few last weeks, and I still have problems like pain in the lower left part of the chest and at my tibia. Probably due to the fact that I don't do much sport outside of school activities, or with friends.

Any tipps how I could reduce pain, any nutrition advice, etc.?

That's because you're 10kg overweight, unless you're all muscle. Try to run at a 5minutes per 1km pace and you'll be fine.

4km in < 25 minutes is very doable. I'm not a fast runner. I ran my first 5K in 25 minutes, so that's like 4K in 20 minutes. Plus, 4K is a shorter distance, so you can run harder.

You have a week, yes? You still have time to prepare.

Breathing: I've always heard, "In through the nose, out through the mouth."

Pain: take pain reliever. Also, make sure you're running in the right kind of shoes. Go to a running store and get fitted.

Nutrition: the day before the test, eat more carbs, and make sure you're hydrated.

So you have a week to prepare?

I'd say try doing something like HIIT but not not so hard (so that you can go on for 15mins or so for a few days and rest the two days before the test. that's what I would do but I don't really know...

The pain might be small muscle cramps in abdomen. just get over it. It's not dangerous and will go away with time.
