/fit/, I come to you with a quandary. Before I go into details, I'll give you some background on myself. 31 years old, Male, Caucasian, 6'5'', 190 pounds, not buff, but I don't have the worst of bodies.

I have been healthy my whole life, ever since this past Christmas season I have been tired, irritable, sore, my head has hurt all day-every day, and it has affected my life completely.

My relationships with friends have tanked, I was pissed off and wouldn't hang out so now they think I hate them. I almost got fired from my job at Best Buy twice in four months, and even though I am very very tired almost all the time, I can't sleep. And when I do get to sleep, it is usually short periods of 30-40 minutes.

I haven't changed any major things in my life. I'm not a heavy drinker, and don't do any illicit drugs (anymore, and it's been more than two years since I last smoked pot). I don't smoke, and I'm not a caffeine addict. Please, I'm just trying to find out if all this is mental, or my body has been fighting some sort of infection for 4 months.

Uh, try seeing a doctor. Thank God for Medicare, eh?

I have health benefits working for Best Buy, but the doctor says my only problem is bad posture, and how this could hurt my lower back.

ask your doc if he can recommend you to a good neurobiologist. sounds like most of your problem stems from sleep patterns and usually those are closely linked to problems with the head.

Have a beer with your buddies and work shit out. Your mental state is probably what's effecting your sleeping schedule. The only person that can truly help you right now is yourself. You're going to have to make things happen yourself.
