Question GayForP90x !Uaw4R03rlw
I am on day 3 of the P90x program, and there is an exercise for each day. Day 1 was chest/back/abs, Day 2 was plyometrics (legs), Day 3 is shoulders/arms/abs.

Now this is a weird question, but I was in immense pain from day 1 when I started day 3 on the delts/pecs/back, and after I did the beginning stretches before working out, the pain seems to be gone.. Am I just tearing my muscles even more and not letting them get the full repair?

Another question:

Is it good to stretch the muscles that are currently torn/repairing?

Rather than assuming you know why I ask, I ask because this P90x bullshit has a workout everyday. I'm following the day to day basis of the routines and some muscles from previous days are being stretched.

Don't worry, you'll be sore as hell the first week, after the second week, you will adjust. That's what the recovery week is for as well, stick with it.

Thanks for the response, I just want to make sure I don't shred my muscles beyond the point of recovery.

Sure thing, the first round is always the hardest. Make sure to get at least 7 hours of sleep too. And go here if you need motivation:
