what rate of fat loss does /fit/ think is healthy?

My health teacher told us it is safe to reduce your diet by 500 calories a day, which should add up to about a pound a week. That being said, it might only apply to dieting and not exersize.

that's the maximum. more is unhealthy, very unsustainable, and can be dangerous i heard. you'll likely put it back on the next week if you're going too fast.

also note you naturally fluctuate a bit during the day due to water in/out
