Whats wrong with my calves. Anonymous
Well I worked out on my calves three days ago doing heel drops. This was the first time working out in a long, long time. After I was done, I felt the burn but it was nothing too bad. The next day my calf started to hurt, then the day after that it hurt even more, and today it hurts even more. It gets to the point that I cant stand totally straight because the pain is so excruciating. What do I do guys?

stretch every morning in the shower and learn your fucking lessons.

1. dont overload when you start working out
2. jog and stretch before and after every workout

It's really easy to get DOMS in your calves -- work your way up, let your body get used to using them again (stay away from weight at first) and don't push your body like you used to for a full two weeks.

Then you can ramp up the intensity.

Ah yes. Overly worked out muscle soreness. It can last a week or more. The severe pain will die down after 4-5 days to a more manageable level.
i usually lift lite with just enough reps to get the muscle pumped. It helps with the recovery.
