drink liquor if you plan to get fucked up. at 7 calories per gram, its just shy of fat's 9 cal/g. but adding in the extra shit in beer just to get to that same amount of liquor in a shot is even more detrimental.
if youre just wanting a drink or two to lubricate social situations, have a glass of wine or a couple shots. dont sip on a beer or 2.
its not healthy for you and will detract from your overall fitness. but if you keep it to weekends, its not that big of a deal.
