Hey, /fit/, I need some help.

I have small calves. My whole family has pretty small calves. I want to make them bigger.

I do full body workouts 4 days a week and take some pretty awesome supplements. Part of my workout included calf raises. Four sets; 25-20-15 and a dropset to 50. Unfortunately, I've seen no progress really.

How can I gain muscle massive on my calves?

Let me guess, you are training your calves for about 2 weeks?

They make sneakers where the toes are raised higher than the heel. Find and buy a pair, and wear them all the time.

That's terrible advice. Calves don't work like other muscles, as you use them everyday.

The best way to get bigger calves is to work them harder (higher reps) but not with high weight. That shrinks them, for whatever reason.

Start out by warming up by running backwards for five or ten minutes, then do calf raises, working on both the inside and outside of the calves. You have to really hammer them to get any gains, as you walk on them every day.
