Hey /fit/,

I thought it was finally time to make one of these threads.

Back history. I was always a
big fella, all throughout highschool I ate terribly, and just yeah, even though I was active with martial arts but yeah just ate bad food like a horse.

Here is a photo of me back in April of 2006 (I was at 115kg / 253lbs) - the highest I ever got, then below is a photo from today where I am weighing 77-78kg / 170lbs (should be less but I was on vacation, got sick, and comforted myself with peanut M&M's, and just bad terribly food, I am home now and getting back into the routine).

**My routine**

8am - wake up, 20g 100% whey protien.

8:30am - HIIT Sprints, for about 30 minutes.

9:00am -

PWO 30g 100% ON Whey C&C w/ water.

then my oatmeal

1/2 cup of Rolled Oats
2 tablespoon of fat free yogurt
1 tablespoon of honey
top up with low fat/skim milk. probably about 2 cups of so in total).

12 midday - Whole wheat bread, 2 Omega-3 eggs.

1-1:30pm - go to the gym (Monday, Wednesday, Friday is a 1 hour heavy intensity ride (I try to keep my heart rate really high the whole way)

on Tuesday, and Fridays I go to the gym and lift. I hit all muscle groups, similiar to a Rich Franklin lifting scheme. It works for me, but I may try a standard 3 day lifting pattern in the future when I clean bulk.

Get home about 3pm - I have a blended shake with:

1 cup of blueberries,
30g whey of any flavour,
2 tablespoons of low fat yogurt,
1/2 cup of rolled oats (just re-added these because I was drained as fuck today and I think I havent been getting enough carbs)

Take whey protein AFTER workouts.

Before, during and after are all good ideas.

Nice routine, OP and well done!

However I think you may be a little low on blood sugar, since there isn't much in your diet.

5:30pm - walk the dog, takes about 30 minutes walking at a fast pace.

6:00pm- Dinner (see below)

350-400g of chicken lightly grilled (go george forman) per meal. (3-4 pieces of decent sized sliced chicken breast)
some mushrooms (cooked with a tiny bit of butter just for flavouring, its my one indulgence )
and yeah a BIG salad, just think a big fucking bowl with veggies of all kinds. it's all good.

(What I am doing now is the salad and chicken is fairly big, so I will have half at 6, and then the other half at 9pm)

9pm - see above.

11:30ish-12midnight - I'll have 3 tablespoons of yogurt, 30g of calcium casienate (I have 4 900g containers of 100% casien on the way, 2 vanilla 2 choc, looking forward to trying those, I'm currently on a myopure casien) and 20g of whey just to get my system going again.

Sleep around 12 midnight.

weekends I'll have mostly the same stuff, some sushi and eel on Friday night though thats about the only 'cheat meal' that I eat compared to my weekday meals.

I eat the same if I am at work because they have a fridge, and I can bring my eggs and stuff in a container.

good for you OP you do us all proud.

God damn. You really are an inspiration.
I'm a pretty heavy guy right now (230 lbs, though at the height of my obesity I was 310) and I'm going to try some of the stuff you've posted here today.
I mostly just need to get on the healthy eating kick. I do a bit of exercise at home, but I know I could do more and eat healthier.
Thank you for this.

well done OP!
if i may, the only thing i can really suggest is to up your weight training schedule, you've hit the desired bodyfat percentage, so it's probably time you fill in with some muscle. A good idea is to up the weight training to three times a week. For example:

Monday: Chest, Triceps
Wednesday: Back, Biceps
Friday: Legs, shoulders

I could name a hell of alot of exercises, but it's probably best that you pick up a book for weight training. Frank Sepe's "The Truth" and arnolds "Modern Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding" are great choices.

keep up the good work!

I notice you have some stretch marks on the before pix, yet on the after pix they aren't visible. did this happen naturally or did you use cream of some sort?
>> Anonymous
Good work, man. Do you go to college or have a job by the way? Just cause looking at your schedule this seems to be all you do,. How do you schedule yourself?

Is it cool if you post pics of your fronts before and after? Just curious because I really think the fronts show the differences better (although these back pics are still good).

Aww jeez.. manly tears. ;_;
Guy you quoted here.
I feel a lot better than when I was 310. I have more energy, and I'm more secure with myself, so I go out with friends a lot more.

Also, I'm going to make losing weight REALLY easy for you.
I went from 310 to 260 in a single summer. How?
I worked at a restaurant.
I'm not shitting you at all. I washed dishes for a summer and dropped 50lbs without any major changes to my lifestyle.
I figured that it's because you're working in a sauna like environment, you're constantly moving, and if they feed you there and it isn't a shit restaurant, you're eating healthier as well.
One of my favorite things that happened because of the weight loss is that I'm 20 years old now, and I'm fitting into my old clothes.
From Junior High!

For comparison, here is a picture of me in my first years of high school....

I'm the one on the right btw.
And here is me about a year ago, and I've lost more weight since.
Anyhow>>106654
About the loose skin, there is a bit, mostly under my arms, though regular exercise will help with that. I just do pushups and some lifting, and laps up and down the stairs in my house now to keep fit. Don't use any expensive devices or go to the gym. Don't even leave my house that often really.
But I hope that you can figure out your own little routine. I'm serious about the dish washing thing though. Saved my life.

Hey thanks for replying man, it really is inspiring.

I actually picked up a manual labour job outdoors, working 12 hour days all week - so I have confidence in my routine for this summer. Also, when I get home I train for real, mostly going to be cardio until my blood pressure lowers - then I'll start lifting.

Fuck, when I transform - I'm buying a full new wardrobe and I can't wait! Congrats again, and cheers!

This thread is really good and I'd like to share a question with you guys.

At the end of my highschool I used to be a fucking fattie. When I started college (in September) I weighted around 230 pounds (my heigh is 5'8''). At the moment I'm at 175-ish pounds. I made this by eating a lot less of what I used to eat. Most of the things I eated in this period were fruit or yohghurt with almost no special physical activity (push-ups
most of the days but nothing impressive).

Now I'm having some problems with food and I think I may have became anorexic. In the past weeks I've been some days without eating (or eating like an apple at the day), but It doesn't mater what, I still see myself as a fucking fatass. When I see me in front of a mirror sometimes I feel like crying. This must be more like pshycology stuff but this is starting to be a problem for me. I hope somebody who has had this weigh-loss problem could give some advice.

Thanks for this inspiring thread and sorry for my crappy english.

then judge by the scale not the mirror i guess. Are you hungry but not eating or are you losing your appetite?
>> Anonymous
>>107341
dude you aren't fat :(
Eat right or you might kill your metabolism.
Good job getting healthy, and don't think like a fat person anymore!
>> Anonymous
>>107351
Losing appetite. In the beggining I was like starving to dead, but with the time I ended feeling anything at all. I just feel sleepy most of the day.

god bless you OP!
