First you should get someone to show you how to do it properly. Then you could do 2 days with many reps and 1 day with heavy load per week or something. Just do it a lot.

Try doing them on your knuckles with your forearms very strait so you don't put pressure on your wrists this also puts more constant stress on your muscles. Make sure your back is straight and that you aren't pelvic thrusting the ground. Do them slowly through the movement without stopping at the top and bottom until you cant keep your form any more. There are no right or wrong ways to do push-ups except when your joints hurt.>>122786only one....

>>122822In my experience it's a whole lot harder to do 65 extremely slow pushups than 65 fast pushups. Unless of course the guy was like stopping in between or something, lol. I can do 65 fast ones in about 50 seconds if I'm not tired :\ get really red faced though.
I hate it when people do a lot of push ups with little travel between the floor and their highest point and then boast about how many they can do. Fucking half assing them. You briefly touch the floor with either your chin or chest then you you go as high as your arms will allow. You want to feel as if your wrestling with a fucking polar bear when you do pushups.
I can do about 2, never been that good at them.
