Weightloss through running only David
hey /fit/,

I want to lose around a stone in the next 30 days. I am fairly slim, my only problem areas are a bit of a gut and small man-tits. Embarrassing. Theyve been there for years and I need to get rid of em asap.

At the moment I cant afford a gym, however I've been doing 40-50 minutes jogging every 2nd day since 3 weeks ago and it's great. I also do 10 pushups and 20 situps before I head out.

Is it enough though?

What else could I do with such limited means? Any advice appreciated.

Do HIIT. Instead of running at a steady pace for 40 minutes, cycle through 30 seconds sprint - 60 second jogs for about 15 minutes.

And also do push-ups and sit-ups to failure, which will allow you to do more of them every day.

I do mix in a bit of sprinting but will try as per your timing.

But do you reckon I'm on track here? I could probably be doing 50 minutes a day but I reckon it could fuck up my muscles OR make me lose interest

The idea being HIIT is that after you finish a session you want to lay down and die.

If you don't, increase the sprint interval.
