OK /fit/... waddaya got for me?

5'5 female here. The before and after pics you see are roughly a year in between, with roughly 20 lbs of weight loss. (185 to 162).

I've changed my eating habits. No soda, hardly anything processed (can't be helped sometimes because of my living situation) 95% of the time I'm drinking water, lots of veggies, not a lot of fruits, 2% cheese... ect.

Exercise wise, I'm doing mostly cardio... about a hours worth and burn roughly 600 calories in that hour. I used to go to the gym all the time, but school and work got in the way and I'm doing it less frequently (maybe once a week now if I'm lucky).

My questions to /fit/, what routines should I make paramount so I can keep going the way I'm going, and achieve my goal of 125lbs? What am I doing correctly and what am I not doing correctly? I can see the difference, but I obviously want more results.

HIIT is the exact opposite of your conventional way of burning fat. What you do is you basically do is run really hard for 30 seconds, then jog/walk for 30 and repeat till you are dead tired. Its all about high intensity Can be done with what ever activity.

Cardio when done over long peroids of time will burn more calories during the actual exercise, but after doing HIIT, you will continue to burn calories throughout the day, making it the better choice overall.

anyways, just to add to what others have said. HIIT is great, but very taxing. make sure you are all set in terms of joints, especially if you arent used to high intensity type exercise. you may want to work your way up to it by doing uphill running intervals on a treadmill. switch up your routine to keep it interesting and stimulating. add in weight lifting. before you say it, you wont get big and muscled. you can start with bodyweight exercises to get yourself used to the movements before moving to a weight room/gym.

protip: get an mp3 player. get some rhythmic and driving music and use it in tandem with your workout to obliterate the chaff.

hey all u need is better diet, no more suger drinks, i would go all water and if needed orange juice something light and natural. For food no more junk foods, also would start taking Kre- any kind is good, expand your meal intake and consume 30% fats atleast also have a good amount of proteins and fibers, one good thing i do that makes me feel great is one bottle of water when i wake up and one when i go to sleep, ill wake up hungrey every time and wanting to poop :P, good luck

Because you are getting that type of workout during the day, I think HIIT would be perfect for you. It's something that kicks your butt in gear and makes you body wake up. REALLY focus on switching it up, too. Don't do the same HIIT everyday and even switch up ratios (you do 30 seconds running and one minute walking? That's a ratio of 1:2. Try different ratios like 1:3 1:1 with different time lengths, etc.). Do something to shake up your routine.

600 calories in a hour, that's like 5-6 miles/hr on a treadmill. You can do much better, since you've been doing it for a year you can easily start increasing the pace. There's no reason why you shouldn't increase the level of intensity.

keep eating less and exercising more. your body's metabolism keeps adapting to your activity/dietary intake to reach homeostasis...you have to keep pushing harder and harder to lose fat at the same rate

you should be losing 2-3 lbs a month if you're following an appropriate diet (which females never realize they don't) and exercising (which females always overestimate how much they do)

I noticed the difference myself finally once I constructed the jpg, and I did go down about 2 pant sizes. As for the tits, they were never huge to begin with. I can fill a B cup, but there's no fucking cleavage so they only look nice to me when the nipples are hard. I've been told by past lovers that they fill their hands when grabbed, so that satisfys me. I mainly blocked out the T&V because I wanted the focus to be on the rest of the body. Only a small amount of that choice was directed towards modesty.

indeed, listen to the others -- less cardio and more weight lifting. you need to build a lot of muscle. it wont make you look bulky because a pound of muscle is about 1/4th the size of a pound of fat. by gaining 10-15 pounds of muscle, you will also be burning an extra 3500 calories a week, which equates to a pound. this will happen even if you are stationary the entire time, it's bonus calorie burning.

also, by doing to much cardio you will start to burn your muscles. stay around a half hour of cardio a day and beat yourself up lifting weights, 1 set of muscles 3 times a week and then let those muscles rest for a WEEK. do research on this.
