How long does it take? Anonymous
So like, I'm not gonna lie and say that I've been working out or am planning on working out, but I am curious about something fitness related.

If you're fat, like, 280 pounds fat (male, 6'0) how long does it typically take to see visual results (i.e. how long before the actual skin goes away and your arms/stomach/etc slim down)?

This has always been one of the things keeping me from working out, because I heard it takes years for the excess skin to disappear. In other words I would be left with a formless roll on my abdomen or similar. >_>

skin tightening isn't as much of a problem for most people as it's made out to be... now get out there and exercise/eat right

I'm 23 if age matters at all.

Does it really take several years for the skin to revert back to normal?

a roll of skin is better than a tub of fat.

Over the last 15 weeks I went from 290 to 245. I still look the same. Clothes are all looser. I don't think until I lose another 30lbs that I will look any different. Which is going to take another 15 weeks.
I feel a lot better though, and I am way more active.

I miss food though. ;_;

Clothes looser = you're thinner than you think. Keep going.

Its hard to notice when your the one looking in the mirror all the time but I'm betting other ppl have noticed especially in the face.

Keep up the good work ^_^ It'll be worth it in the end

Yeah, that's an excellent reason not to exercise.
