sup /fit/, so I've read some arguments vs cardio when it comes to fat loss/cutting about how they dont go hand and hand together if you are also lifting and trying to gain muscle

basically what I'm trying to ask is, I did chest/abs/obliques for about an hour yesterday

so I didn't do any squats or leg exercises other than some mild cardio in between bench and incline or something

doing 35-40 minutes of cardio today, would that interfere with my mussle gains?

You gain muscle from a calorie surplus.

You lose fat from a calorie deficit.

Cardio causes muscle catabolzation. It's completely ass-backwards to perform cardio when weight lifting.
