eliminate refined sugars from your diet to feel more energetic. a can of pop spikes your blood-sugar lots, feels good initially like first five minutes, but then depresses the immune system and everything for like an hour or two afterwards as it tries normalize your sugar levels. having large sugar peaks and valleys like this throughout the day wreaks havoc on the body. concentration suffers, muscle building suffers, everything gets fucked up. and then you get fat too. try to eat protein regularly, just a little something even, every few hours, except when about to work hard. frequent quality snacks are win.
tl;dr refined sugar makes feel like crap.
