Had the same thing after my first week of running. Nothing you can do aside from taking some ibuprofen, run through the pain, and ice after your run. Also, look up some shin exercises to build up shin strength to prevent future pain. If it is unbearable after a week of running try Bengay or something similar. If the pain still continues for 3 or more weeks, and Bengay doesn't work at all, see a doctor. It's extremely unlikely, but possible, that you might have a minor stress fracture.
