How do you know if your lower back is curved to much? I have a gut and I think my lower back has too much of a curve. How would I correct this problem?

Pic semi related, I do not have any back pain, yet...

wtf, stop knocking my thread down.
I do squatz. Will this eventually straighten my back out? or do I have to do other exercises to fix my lower back?

Kind of on the same track, I'm an actor and work with what's known as Fitz-Morris and Alexander work. These have helped my lower back problems, maybe something to look into.

Sorry, guess I should have elaborated. Both are pretty much muscle exercises to identify and relieve tense areas in the body.

Here's a quick link about Alexander work - http://www.alexandertechnique.com/

Google "Alexander technique" for more

As for Ftizmorris, I can't seem to find anything at the moment, which makes me wonder if I'm calling it the right thing. But irregardless, Alexander work does the same effect

Back again, can't find anything for Fitz-morris, but I can hopefully explain the first exercise that centralizes on the small of the back.

Lay belly-up on the ground, and bring your feet to your butt. No stressing of muscles, thats where a lot of style comes from. From this position, roll your hips, as if trying to squash a banana with your lower back. It's not a tense squeeze exercise, just a roll of the hips forward. Take a few good deep breathes in, if you feel anything thats tense, try to relax it.

Yeahs, its one of those hippy Tai-chi kind of things, but hey, worked for me.
