At my largest I was 220, I starved myself down to 160, then hit a wall.
Just be prepared to be skinny-fat, you'll feel better because you aren't a fatass, but you're going to gain fat back once you start eating normal.
Weight-training when losing weight is recommended, since it'll slightly help in retaining the muscle that you are catabolizing through a lack of calorie intake, and it also raises your metabolism.
