I've been doing an hour a day on this thing - mostly balance games. At first, my back hurt like fuck, but I can really feel the difference.

Something that shouldn't be used as a primary exercise fitness.

the ONLY thing that is useful is the scale and chart it plots for your weight.

i´d disagree. when i was recovering from an acute bout of a nasty chronic disease, i bought wiifit to gently get me execising again. i´ve been resistance training for 10 years, so i´m not an idjut noob.
there are loads of great core exercises hidden as games. the exercises will challenge most people in one way or another and the yoga routines are pretty good. my girlfriend likes it too

my only real criticisms are that it doesnt facilitate making a routine, its just a load of exercises. that it is difficult to see the screen when you are doing some of the exercises, particularly the yoga. the logic of when you need to stand on the board is a bit odd (some standing on and getting off for no reason). the bmi measure is really limited, as it doesnt consider muscle/fat ratio, so it says that i´m bordering on obese, even though i have 11% body fat.

continued.

these are the exercises and games in wiifit. anyone who says it is useless is saying that all of these exercises are useless and talking shit. obviously you dont need a board to do most of these.

But that's what BMI is and that's why it should never be taken serious.
