Anyone here try the Warrior Diet? I've read about half the book so far, and I'm very interested in trying it. I'm kind of excited, but nervous at the same time, as I've been doing well with losing weight so far by eating 6 controlled meals. For those of you who've tried the Warrior's Diet, can you please comment on if the Warrior Diet is actually legit and produces results?

Try it out and see for yourself.

I haven't tried it, but I am interested, it sounds like a good premise. But following it around on the internet for a few years now, I have heard that only for a few has the diet worked really well, the majority of people its just 'meh'.

what is your diet?
specifically

WOW. You've been following it for years, have heard people who I can almost guarantee did not follow it or follow it properly say "meh" and you're back to get the same results? Do yourself a favor and just commit to it for a few months and find out. It takes a ton of devotion and the book is big enough to kill an infant with. If you arn't ready to a drastic lifestyle and mindset change don't bother with the diet because the guy goes far past food.

I've read the book, it makes a lot of assumptions about a lot of things with little proof to back them up.

OP here, anyone actually try the Warrior Diet and see results??

been on it for about 3 weeks now, i find that fasting during the day living on raw vegies and some berries (fucking shit is awsum) increased my awareness to a very high level. i have a job where i have to be active around 6-8 hours a day, and it really helped. at night after work i hang out with my mates and i literally eat about twice as much as they do, sometimes more.

of course most nights i go home and prepare a huge meal, and it feels me the fuck up. =D i tried so many diets but this one worked for me because i could be very satisfied at the end of every day.

of course, excercise helps. doing p90x for about a month now and seeing some pretty impressive results. abs are starting to show, and the last time i saw my abs were in a picture (i was 6 years old by a swimming pool).

Ironically during my childhood and teenage years while i was very lean, all i did was eat bananas in the morning and afternoon and raped everything during dinner @@

So any quick summary for what this diet is about?

Well thanks.
So is this supposed to make you lose weight or gain superpowers?

oh the irony.

I've been fucking lean my whole life. I've never been good at eating in the mornings etc. but then I migh eat huge piles of chicken and rice before going to bed.

I guess it works.

undereating during the day increases your hormones, metabolizes fat as energy. due to the increased level of hormones u have higher energy levels, more aware, etc. Think like a hunter looking for prey.

you really only have one meal during dinner where u can have the equavalent of three meals in one sitting. extremely satisfying. because the state the body is in having such a huge meal only benefits you.

not to mention you can also get through the day easily with the higher energy levels.. which meals higher motivation to excercise, work, pick up girls, etc. of course during the day u are allowed to snack on fresh fruits on vegetables.

i never knew how awesome berries were until i read the book :D

Oh shi- This makes so much sense to me it's almost ridiculous. No wonder I was doing better at school when I wasn't lifting yet. No wonder that I am - while gaining some serious muscle - loosing muscle and bone definition.

Now I just need to make sure I keep on eating +calories.

also, when I was a skinny little 14yo kid I used to be able to skateboard 8 hours straight. I would eat some breakfast, small meals and then two goddamn pizzas at once in the evening. Back then I was able to run 3000m on the coopers test. Now I'm 19yo almost fully grown man and I finally beat that record just two weeks a go. About fucking time.

OK

DAY1 on warrior diet. Hadn't eaten very much before this thread came up so I decided to not eat at all before 7pm (I'm in finland).

I felt dizzy after 3 hours of not eating. I've been on 6meals per day diet for 8weeks now and I was fucking shocked how it had affected me CARB ADDICT MUCH???

About a half an hour ago I started feasting, It's amazing. I ate like 350g of roastbeef, a pile of garlic cream potatoes and some salad for starters. After that I proceeded to a small dessert (a banana and an ice cream stick.)

Now I'm resting by dringing whey and malto. I'm not even that full. I feel like I could eat a ton more if I just could get some more room inside my stomach.

I'll propably continue with some whole rye bread with ham and cheese in a while.

I've never had such an appetite in my life.
