Hello /fit/, I'm currently 5:10 and weigh 207 pounds. I want more then anything in the world to lose some weight.

My fitness plan: Everyday 40 sit ups, 10 push up, and to run up and down the stairs ten times. Anything else I can add to the list?

I'll only eat lunch and dinner and nothing else during the day. So /fit/, what do you think? Will I lose some weight?

Avoid sugar. Add as much cardio as you can stand. Make sure it's actually kinda difficult: simply walking won't do it. Consider HIIT.

Eat when you are hungry. Do not starve yourself and let yourself get wildly hungry, your body freaks out and stores fat when that happens. Also eat slowly the slower you eat the sooner your body knows when it is full with less food being "wasted" and turned into fat instead of burned off as needed.

Your metabolism will be higher if you eat properly, 5-6 times a day, not huge meals for lunch and supper and nothing in between. If you are trying simply to LOSE WEIGHT, wtf do you think doing 40 situps and 10 pushups will do. Those are muscle builders, not calorie burners. Do some jogging or, if you don't exercise much and are just getting into it, even long walks will do it. Get out there and walk. And no cheat meals.

Eating Breakfast stimulates your metabolism.eat three square meals a day.. start out with grains and whole wheat in the morning, through out your day if you get hungry for a snack, eat a fruit or two.

avoid fast food at all costs, and you wont see much results from your fitness plan

you need to jog at least 15 minutes

Sit ups are shit. They'll do nothing for you and fuck up your back. The Army doesn't even have sit up requirements anymore because they're utter crap.

If you're serious about losing weight, read that and apply. You're not gonna make any serious losses by being a pussy with the exercising. Also, don't do this everyday. I forget if it's explained in the link, but you need at least a day of rest between intense cardio sessions.

And for God sakes, eat more than two meals a day. The general rule would to eat about every 3 hours, meaning 5 to 6 meals a day like someone else recommended. Just eating multiple smalls through out the day doesn't mean a fast pass to not being a fatty though. Eat your fucking vegetables. I'm not kidding with this shit. Also, don't eat only vegetables. Vegetarians are some of the least healthy motherfucks around, unless they really know what the hell they're eating, and I guarantee you won't since you know nothing about how to lose weight healthily.

what's going to happen is:
you will eat 2 meals a day, lose weight, and then get back to regular eating

in the meantime, your metabolism will have dropped

thus, when you go back to your normal eating again, your body will gain all the weight back

Are you retarded? If you burn more calories than you consume then you will lose weight. It is really fucking simple!
