Just put a workout playlist on my iPod to workout to a few hours ago, only put Slipknot, Korn, Disturbed, Hinder, Puddle of Mudd, and Sevendust on it. Didn't have time to do more. Gotta have some hard shit to keep me going.

wtf is with this place and Dethklok? what is the album that made everyone love them so much? I downloaded one and found it mediocre at best. Not trolling or trying to start a flame war, I just want to know why everyone loves them so much.

Also pic related. I try listen to anything with a techno feel or a decent beat.

Nice taste in music, OP. I liked a lot their earlier stuff too, shame people didn't care about them until "I Stand Alone" was played in every fucking movie, game and PvP video in WoW. It's good but sheesh, give it a rest.

Apart from grunge I listen to a lot of metal. Pic related. (Yes yes I know they're pretty lame but they've got a few good songs too.)

pantera, slayer, old metallica, testament, megadeth, nevermore... and some others I can't remember right now. Also sometimes I listen to metalcore, it's good for pumpin iron but sucks really...

This is exactly what I've been listening to, plus the new Verse album for when I really need to get uplifted.

Hate Eternal and Vader are pretty much perfect for pumping iron, if you can handle that stuff.

The best thing to do with gym music is NOT have an order. An order will only lead to predictability and that will only maintain momentum in your workout. It won't fire it up.

That's why I put my gym music playlist on shuffle.

Here's whats in my playlist:
Jay-Z: 99 Problems, Dirt off your shoulders
QOTSA: No one knows, Feel good hit of the summer, You Think I Ain't Worth a Dollar But I Feel Like a Millionaire
Oasis: Fucking in the bushes
Outkast: Bombs over Baghdad
Papoose: Bloody War, Born to win
Arcade Fire: my body is a cage
Beastie Boys: Sabotage
The Black keys: Set you free, Your touch
RATM: Bullet in the Head, Killing in the name of, Bulls on parade
Kings of Leon: Taper Jean Girl, Charmer
Jadakiss: Why, The Champ is here
Handsome boy modelling school: Holy Calamity
FGTH: two tribes
The Go! Team: The power is on, doing it right
Fatboy Slim: right here right now
Eagles of Death Metal: Don't Speak
Edwin Starr: War
There's prolly more but i can't be fucked to do it..

Yes! That or Battle Without Honor makes the best warm-up song.

I don't use them when actually pumping iron, but for warm-up, they're the best.

For actually working out, Dragula is an incredible song.
