Cologne vs Deodorant Anonymous
/FIT/,

I'm in college, I don't sweat ever throughout the day - I'm a pretty lean guy. I barely perspire...and when I do, I don't have any scent.

I don't have too much reason to use deodorant, other than to add a slight pleasant scent to myself. I use Mitchum "Mountain Air" deodorant, currently.

However, the scent is obviously deodorant-esque, imo. I was wondering if I could/should start wearing cologne instead to class/throughout the day.

My roomate last year did that, but used some Ralph Lauren "Polo Blue", which was very noticeable for the first few hours within 10 ft of him. I was thinking something much lighter, for closer proximity or passing by someone--much like Lacoste "Essential".

I'm not trying to call attention to myself with it, but am thinking it'd be more pleasant for myself and others than "Mountain Air".

What do you guys think?

No reason why you shouldn't, it'd probably help a bit with the ladies. Ask /fa/, they know a lot more about cologne. All this bullshit about woody and spicy aromas are beyond the scope of my understanding. Also, I think your friend is doing it wrong if people can smell him 10 feet away.

/fa/ seems like such a bad place to turn to, but I'll give it a shot...

/fa/ person here. Dior Homme is the shit. It's a really neutral, pleasant smell. Not overpowering, or spicy at all. Pretty much what you want.

Dolce and Gabana's Light Blue.

Shit's so cash.

No really though...no a day goes by where I don't get at least one question about it or a compliment. It's light and smells awesome.
