hey /fit/, Im a guy thats about to go to college, and My college has this kick ass gym right across from my suite, and I want to make good use of it. Im not specifically looking to get abs and bigger muscles, but I want to get "stronger," so to speak, so I can lift more, and be more appealing to the ladies. right now, Im about 135, 5'9, and can lift more or less 100. unfortunatly my high metabolism is keeping me from gaining weight and I guess gett more muscle mass. any tips on what I can do so that I can get stronger while not getting skinnier?

3sets of 10 reps of heavy weights. 10 should be tough. When you can do 3x10, add 5 to 10lbs depending on exercise and start again. When the weight is perfect, you'll probably be doing sets of 10, 9, 8 or 10,8, 8 or something, because its heavy. When you get to 10,10,10 then move on.

Eat protein. 150 grams of it a day, at least. 30 grams post workout. Eat 3250 calories per day.

Work hard, lift heavy, good luck.

Steak, steak, and more steak. If your college isn't shitty, they'll have steakburgers for lunch. I fucking chowed those every single day.

If not steak, anything and everything with chicken, pork, or fish.

you don't have a high metabolism
girls care more about how you look than how much you can lift
