Hey /fit/, maybe you can help me out with this.
My friend is a skinny short chinese girl. she is pretty slim in every part of her body except the lower stomach and love handles which make her extremely self conscious.
shes been going to the gym and doing a lot of cardio but it wont go away. just yesterday i had to convince her not to buy any of that diet pill shit since it would probably kill her faster than help her lose weight.
help me to help her lose her pouch.

everyone has abs already, there's just a layer of fat on top of them, doing cardio will reduce that fat and lovehandles and if she wants to improves on her abs after they're revealed, then come back and ask for effective ab excersises.

not really sure.
i did martial arts for a few years as a teen. it got rid of my stomach fast but it was probably a combination of the two. we did a lot of cardio with sparing and drills but then there was a lot of muscle toning in it too.

I just got finished reading a book that stated that nutrition is 90% responsible for your results. This isn't some random douchebag either, check some of his shit out: www.craigharper.com.au

Be sure to get some before and after pics of your friend, post 'em on /fit/.

Tell her to hydrate frequently, clean up her diet if necessary and work those abs (spot training is a myth, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't work those muscles)
