Curing the hikikomori disease Anonymous
Hey /fit/. For a long time, I've had problems with sleeping, talking, learning or relaxing. So naturally I don't have any friends and ended up on 4chan. I've been looking for what could be the problem from a medical point of view and I think I've found clues related to equilibrium. Basically, it's like I'm always in a semi-state of sea sickness, always uncomfortable. I'm scheduled to have that checked by a specialist but in the meantime, I wonder if 4channers also have similar symptoms. So out of curiosity, I'm asking: Do you get nausea easely during car travel? Do you digest rather slowly and burp several times? Did you ever have an ear infection or sinus infection?

I don't get car-sickness, but I'm very prone to ear and sinus infections, I get them a lot, and I've permanently damaged my right ear because of them. I do digest slowly, yes. I have similar problems with focusing, conversing, learning, and sometimes even standing.

I'd definitely check for allegies. I was sick a ton before my doctor put me on flonase (sp?) and I take that everyday. After about 2 months of taking that I saw improvements such as not ever getting sick ect. I used to constantly have sinus infections that I thought were colds, ear infections sometimes, but my ears were constantly plugged.

My life is definitely much more comfortable after that.

That look vaguely similar. There's a lot of things that can trouble someone with focusing, conversinga and learning so it doesn't mean much but the last one, standing, hits the spot. I'm somewhat irritated slowly and surely just from standing up. Have that feint feeling that I want to dive to the floor.

I'll look it up. What kind of check-up for allergies? I've been thinking about doing an allergy test for a while but I don't know here to start. I believe there's two kinds, a skin reaction test and a blood test?

Yes, do both.

I have non-specific allergic reactions that can't be pinpointed by skin testing for specific allergens, I just have elevated results on blood tests.

That's really fun. They're not so bad that they should be treated properly on a systemic level. Just a fucked up immune system that reacts to a myriad of things by creating small to moderate annoyances all the time. Bah.
