If you have been doing whatever it is that you have been doing, you probably wont be a whale. Again, it should be pointed out, that women have higher body fat, and are supposed to, for several reasons, none of which will i bother listing.
Point is, avoid foods that make you feel like crap (emotionally or physically) despite how they might taste going down. Cut down on anything loaded with sugars, enough grease to make the paper they are wrapped in translucent, and enough caffine that your head is pulsing numbly 20 minutes later and-you-cant-tell-why.
And this isn't a diet, it's just general rules.
If you can manage, and your family wont give you guff about it, i'd suggest eating many smaller meals throughout the day, like a small turkey sammich on wheat, every thee or four hours, instead of like, nothing-but-dinner, and too much of it (which is my general problem, growing up poor and italian). Besides speeding up your metabolism, if you eat smaller portions you dont have to feel-as-crap if you dont have the healthiest things on hand.
