Hey /fit/izens

Next weekend I'm going clubbing. What happens when you go clubbing? What do you do?

I get the impression it involves noisy music, standing around, drinking, and possibly dancing. It sounds overrated.

/fit/ related because
1) other than my friends and family, /fit/ is the closest thing I have to friends and family.
2) Dancing burns calories.
3) Mis/fit/s seem more likely to get out than most other anons.
4) ??????
5) PROFIT

That seal is so fucked.

But yeah, basically what you already said.

For added fun, substitute "standing around" with "meeting new people."

clubbing, by anon:

step 1: queue outside
step 2: pay entrance fee
step 3: queue at bar
step 4: pay horrendous prices for shitty drinks
step 5: queue at cloakroom
step 6: pay for someone to look after your coat
step 7: make way to dancefloor
step 8: commence dancing
step 9: repeat steps 3 and 4
step 10: dance more

theres lots of queueing involved. sometimes there are fit women but i never know the rules of trying to fuck them, so normally i just dance and drink. sometimes if i dance well they approach me, but not always. if you're in britain you have to go outside for a cigarette. getting drunk is unlikely unless you have much money to burn.

it is overrated really, pick a fight if you're bored or try to get to know the bouncers, they're not used to that.

you queue at the bar before hanging up your jacket? wat?

not that i've ever seen a queue by the bar (unless its at a formal event).... mainly just elbowing past people. those of us who are smart and know where to stand usually don't wait too long...
>> SQUATS
Instead of dancing try doing squats on the dance floor. You will burn more calories make sure you bring a barbell with you as well. Good luck anon

I lol'd. Cheers for the responses guys, sounds like what I expected, but worth a try anyway.

The "getting drunk is unlikely" bit is pretty upsetting, but I'll be getting alcohol in my bloodstream beforehand at a mates place.

depends what club, but at my favourite one, yes, i get a drink before i out my jacket in the cloakroom, as the bar is closer to the entrance and the cloakroom is closer to the dancefloor.

i didn't mean a single file, organised queue by the bar, i meant a fucking slew of people about 5 people deep waiting to be served drinks, but then i go to popular clubs.

lol'd, sounds like a plan.

How old are people at clubs? I'm 18, and although I've got friends in my age group that go, I never really saw it as a thing for people < 20. I thought I'd be too new at life for it.

where are you?

i live in the UK, and here its hard enough to keep the 16-17 year olds out of the clubs. i'm 20, and usually clubs i go to are filled with people between 18 and 30.

in america, i haven't a clue, i always figured they were stricter with ID there since you have to be 21 to drink alcohol. but its only an assumption, i've never been.

Melbourne, Ausfailia.
Legal drinking age is 18, get into clubs at 18, etc. But of course underageb& still ends up in clubs.
