yo /fit/fags help me out, whenever i squat my lower back gets really sore during my last rep or two, and after the set, and the next day when i wake up my lower back is extremely stiff & sore. This is inhibiting my progress as right now, i'm squating 5x195 on my last set, where as i truly believe i could be around 5x240 if it wasnt so painful, i stretch beforehand, but maybe i'm not stretching my back enough.

are you rounding your back

squats shouldn't hurt your back at all, deadlifts sure, squats no

in all seriousness, try practicing your form with a broomstick or something similar with a big mirror. Look at your profile, your feet, your chest and head and most importantly your back to make sure you have the right form.
