sup /fit/My fitness level has suffered greatly over the past 5 years (been writing a lot of code for certain projects, working on 3D artwork, etc. Lots of junkfood and not much activity)I used to do a lot of activities akin to freerunning, and used to love to skate and snowboard. Now when I watch freerunning and skate videos I miss being able to do that shit again.I wanna get back in shape.I am completely uninterested in body shape. I'm not looking to build up proportioned mass in certain muscle groups blah blah blah. My interest in getting in shape is completely about functionality. I'm looking to develop a good strength/weight ratio with good endurance and resilience. What's the best training method?I've been running lately, and a few dumbbell exercises. Five inches dropped off my waist, which was well overdue. However, I still can barely do two pull-ups, my shoulders hurt when I climb and I tire a lot sooner than I would like.I hear military training systems are good for taking the focus off aesthetics and putting it on functionality.Comment too long. Pushups, situps, pullups, and jogging every day until you can extend your boundaries. Really, just do what you can until you can do more.
I swear to god, these "ohshi how does I unfat myself" threads are taking over the world. Do 15 sets of kegels and drink a quart of Febreeze-- I hear it's low in carbs.
>>90867he said he wasn't bothered with aestheticshe didnt ask about losing weighthe simply asked about the best way to train if one is not interested in the superficial side of the fitness racketyou're a fag dude. quite looking for excuses to piss and moan. nobody gives a shit
