u live and learn,

i hurt my lower back trying to picking up a girl over my head, i also hurt my left shoulder blade when i became traped under the weight on a incline bench press.

what i learned, don't do stupid stuff, and
WORKOUT ur lower back.

and if u have a dull never ending pain.
building muscle up around it was the only way for me to get read of it. that pain can stay their for years. assuming u don't need a doctor.

heart pain is because you did it too fast!

losing weight seriously affects your necessary blood pressure. your heart needs time to adjust.

on top of it, you've started lifting and probably built some muscles. if not previously fit, capillary rammification and shit needs to be done to help distribute blood to new muscles. hence forcing the heart to distribute faster/ work harder.

you're overworking your hearth into a heart attack.

take it slower.

Well, you can't help genetics.

Heart disease is usually hereditary, and what you did probably delayed the heart attack by more.

Also, you squatting wrong was not our fault, it was yours.

You weren't more healthy then when you started to work out, you just made a poor decision ad are unlucky

Sounds like a good old fashioned case of going overboard. Don't do that, you'll hurt yourself. Check.

I will not blame anyone for my poor form - that is entirely my fault. I find it very hard to follow instructions or videos though, especially as I don't have a mirror. Maybe I should hook a video cam up or something.

I don't think it was going overboard, since I've taken a rest from all exercises for 3 weeks due to the back problem.

Maybe it was the weight loss? I'm 5' 11" - was 168 lb start of March, I am now 153 lb..thats less than 1 lb a week though, so not rapid loss.

Thanks for the replies /fit/
