Hey /fit/ I've been lifting for about 3 months now and everything is slowly increasing (as expected) except my bicep curl! For some reason, I haven't risen on that. it's stuck at 20lb dumbell /40lb barbell. Any suggestions?

I started off at 25 lb. dumbbells a few months ago. I did it for like a month and now it's too easy that there isn't any point in doing it.

Am I doing something wrong? I've tried variations. my chest press and stuff is nothing to be ashamed of, but for some reason my curl is the only thing not increasing at all.

contrary to popular belief, the bicep is a small muscle group. You are likely overtraining. at three months in, expect your other muscle groups to follow suit. suggestion: drop your bicep work entirely for a month or two, then try again. you will not lose any size or strength in biceps during that time, as you are training the shit out of them during all back training movements. as a beginner, focus on compound movements. avoid isolation too much as you will overtrain. stick to squatz, bench, military, rows and pull downs/chins for the first 6 months. maybe a year.
