everybody repair/rest time is different. if your workingout and eating enought, and your progress is slow and you may need to rest longer.
most common is the 1 body part a week, arms/abs day, legs/back day etc.. that give each body part 7 days to repair,
it also common for begainer with no mucles to workout everyother day, but onces the progress start to slow down or stop u'll need more rest.
