I've had exercise induced asthma since I was 5 and I still exercise frequently. I take a puff of my inhaler before I start and then again if it starts acting up. Once the wheezing goes away I'm usually good for quite a while. The more cardio you do, the less severe your attacks will be. For medication I've been on and off Singulair, though I'm honestly not sure how much it actually helps.
