Beast Skills... Anonymous
Anybody here frequent the site?

I've just stumbled across it and as a result have begun desperately trying to do L-sits on my floor.

Do any of you guys possess any beast skills?

thanx brah.

just did the L-sit and flag pole, couldnt do any others. these realy just seem like feats of strength not much use for them other than impressing people.

feats of strength are always to impress people. that way they know how much a beast you are and what kinda skills they can expect to get rammed into their face should they try to step to you.

thus we have beastskills.com

You can flag pole properly?

Thats pretty sweet.

I imagine for a fairly adept gymnast/bodyweight exerciser, the majority of the stuff on the site is nothing new... but for a lifter sap like me, these bodyweight feats are a might impressive.

I've just spent the last two hours feverishly trying to one arm push-up. I started by off-setting my arms (one resting on a raised surface) to put more emphasis on either side with good sucess. Doing maybe a 5 set of those seems comparable to a hefty dumbell press.

As for L-sits, I already have the tricep strength and most of the abdominal strength to get into the hold for a few seconds, but I can't get onto my fingertips.

Obviously I've been trying fingertip push-ups (tough) and I can see how easy it would be to pop a finger out if you really went for it, so I'm stuck doing a couple at a time.

I think it'll be some time before I can go up on my tips.

Other than that, the strength for the one handed pull seems to be there, I just can't keep my grip long enough to complete a rep... I think I'll try and pinch some plates.

As for impressing people... that has a lot to do with my motivation, but there is also an element of self-challenge in there. Mostly I want to be able to walk on my hands or waddle around the house in an L-sit like some kind of psycho parapleigic.
