Hey there /fit/So I posted a while ago about my routine in the gym, it was ripped to pieces, I was given some good advice and I took it on board. I've done the reading and I will be starting the Stronglifts begginer 5x5 next month - despire /fit/s reservations I will continue to do my routine untill that time (thats probably only 3 or 4 more times of actual gym stuff).My problem is this - Stronglifts says no smith machines, but this all my gym has. No power racks at all. So I can do all the lifts, but not as nature intended.Going to another gym is not an option, and I have neither the money nor the space for a power rack in my flat. So, is it ok to just go ahead and use the smith machines as I literally have no other option? Or should I think of something else.And by I, I mean you.Attaching the same image for those who read the last thread.
im sure your gym has a bar and weights so stop being a pussy and start power cleaning the weight up and then front squating like a man
OP here,Good point that Anon. Seeing as the suggested weight is literally just the bar on its own at first Im pretty sure I wont even need to power clean it up.I mean, I guess I could. That'd be more manly right?
