hi /fit/ friends,

i want to start doing HIIT. i've been researching it on various websites but i always like your advice best. i was wondering if it was alright for me to use the elliptical instead of sprinting/walking? any difference at all?

as long as you can get above 85 percent of your maximum heart rate in explosive bursts (which should prove to be difficult with a machine) then go right ahead.

I use the stationary bike on a high enough setting that it feels like I'm riding through mud, and it works great.
