I'm a fat shit and need to lose weight, so I'm limiting my calories to about 2100 and then I'm exercising. I don't know if I'm doing it right though. Does anyone know more information about calories and how they actually affect weight?

That's exactly why I'm watching my calories and what I eat. I even started a journal so I can record what I eat daily and what the nutrition facts say about the calories and the fat.

to a degree, but that's not the most important thing.

if you eat 3000 calories of whole grains and vegetables or 3000 calories of pizza, you're still getting 3000 calories. Digestion issues and nutrition will make the first choice fatten you slightly less, but it's not a big difference.

Just control what you eat by writting down EVERYTHING you eat in the whole day. Doing that helped me alot.
