Depends on how strict your vegetarianism is, but since you mention dairy products, how about cow milk (8 grams/cup) soy milk (6.7g/cup), yoghurt (5g/100g), eggs (6.5g each). You can also switch to higher protein grain bread such as soy and linseed or a multi-grain. Also, with the exception of whey protein, most protein supplements are produced by bacteria rather than animal sources.
