so /fit/ what decide strength besides size and time training?

My little brother is 20 pounds more than I am and 2 years younger. Hes been lifting for 1 year. Me 1.5. He is heavier than I was after 1 year of lifting (by 30 lbs) and weaker by about 50 lbs on most lifts.

Does age factor into strength or is it CNS? Because I thought if someone is larger and consisting of muscle mass they should be stronger.

Are you shorter than him? He would gain more weight if he was taller simply because his muscles are longer.

CNS all the way, also leverages on particular lifts, if he is taller and lankier than you have a distinct advantage

Well, if you're ashley tisdale I'm not surprised that your brother gains more weight than you do. I'm sorry to say it but unless you want to take a bunch of steriods you will never get as big as a man can........

genetics. And fucking tisdale is pretty hot.

Also i bet you aren't training anywhere near as hard as him.
