Unfortunately opportunity isn't what it should be for many people, especially in places with less-than-ideal economies. I have a degree, graduated at the top of my class, and am damned good at what I do, but when I lived in central Missouri for a couple years, the market there was totally saturated (3 colleges in Columbia, MO, nobody leaves when they graduate), and I ended up working as a line cook at Red Lobster. Fucking sucked, but there you go.
Agreed that stress is bad and shit jobs suck, but sometimes it's what you end up having to do for a period of time to make ends meet.
...and why is this in /fit/?
