Hey /fit/I don't usually come here, but I thought i would give this place a try.I am very inflexible. I cannot reach my toes. On a sit and reach test i got -6 inches, when most people get atleast 3+. How can i be able to reach my toes? Someone please help.I've been uhh, computer chair bound for maybe 6-7 years... I'm in highschool and i got a -6 on the sit and reach test in gym.my height is 5ft, weight 105 and female if that matters. I don't get exercise EVER normally, but recently this past week ive been running a mile everyday on my treadmill. anyone have tips how i can finally reach my toes? I want to be able to within 3 months hopefully.
Try yoga, worked great for me.
keeping try to touch your toes. Every chance you get, try to.
How do you think people get more flexible? By stretching more.
best time to stretch is when your muscles are warm i.e. by doing a warmup or something, also, google PNF stretching
Second on the PNF stretching.
Bend down and touch your toes, I'll show you where the wild goose goes.
I'm like this too! I've never had flexible thighs, and I've been told it actually affects my back because it pulls my hips forward. I can touch my knees and that's about it. (tall skinny guy)
