As an experiment, I've started taking fish oil and st. johns wort; if the effects I've experienced so far are placebo, I'll take a healthy dose of placebo any ol' day. My mood is lifted, level and my ever present level of generalized anxiety is diminished substantially. Appetite is curbed, memory seems better; specifically recall speed. I'm having less trouble keeping my mind focused on one thing at a time.EXAMPLE: My first day I went out at lunch and bought the pills, then took two of each with food and sat down at my desk to get to work on a programming project they've been pulling every IT guy they can find who slings code into. Next thing I know it was 5:10 and I had written what would have usually taken me 2 1/2 days of fidgety half work to do. I was so locked into the code I forgot about myself for five hours.Is/Has anyone else used one or both of these supplements? What have your experiences been like?
