squats, deadlift and other uber exercises laughing man !EyknVYKAcc
I want to do them right, therefore I'm looking for an ebook with detailed explanation which is filled up with the latest discoveries of science. Something sports and health oriented.
Does /fit/ know such a book can deliver a source?

I found this one on 7chan: http://rapidshare.com/files/96508172/Starting_Strength.pdf.html
Haven't read it, though it looks somewhat dated.

For the most part, muscle building and strength training have been the same for like 60 years. The squat has not changed.

Seconded. Olympic lifts have been pretty much unchanged for a long ass time. I'm sure you can find basic form instructions for squats, clean and jerk, etc. on the interbutts.

You'll probably read this alot, but just make sure you have the form down pat before you start lifting heavy. Olympic lifts, and in particular squats can be really hard on the lower back if done incorrectly.

that book is excellent, so is the weightlifters encyclopedia but you won't find that one on the net.

Yes, you are. Always do them RAW. RAW as hell. You, naked VS squat bar.

no, but it does put the bar higher on your back, and that puts your lower back at a disadvantage

Ok, forget my stupid comment about the book looking dated. Next time before I judge a book I should read some pages. This book seems to be fucking great.

Squat: Just remember to keep the weight on your heels at all times, always look forward, and go at least slightly past 90 degrees.
