thing that most people, especially girls, do not understand, and spend considerable amounts of energy denying, is that weight loss is counter intuitive. >I really don't eat that much food. that's the key. You should be eating a lot, but it should be spread out throughout the day in 6-8 meals. I'm just going to spout the general stuff that works for everyone here: 40/40/20 protein/carbs/fat, 2.5-3.5k calories a day (for a girl). a 30/50/10 or whatever spread is good, it really doesn't matter too much for you. what matters is that you get enough food, and enough fats (btw, polyunsaturated fats = your friend). When you don't eat much, your body goes into 'starvation mode' and basically stores all the food you eat, usually as fat, rather than digesting the food, going 'o i really dont need this imma get more soon' and passing right through. When you eat more and spread it out, your metabolism speeds up, and what you eat goes into energy rather than storage, and you basically lose weight by living. If you call that living.
It sounds like you're active enough to be confused about a 'weight problem' because you've heard about diets and you've heard about exercise and stuff. Keep in mind that for most girls a proper diet is the key part about weight loss/gain, since a modicum of exercise is more or less unknown.
tl;dr work on your diet: eat moar, eat smarter, lose weight
