Hey, guyz, I just recently heard of this HIIT thing and decided to give it a try. My weekly schedule would be toHIIT the treadmill for about 20 minutes a day 6 times a week. But I also want to incorporate weight trainingas well. But I don't know when to do the weight training. Should I do it after or before the HIIT training,or should I just do HIIT one day, weight training the next day and do it every other day.?
Alternate HIIT and weight lifting days. This is because HIIT requires the same types of recovery period that weight lifting does, so doing it every day will quickly cause overtraining.
alternate days OR, do HIIT before breakfast, and lift in the evening.
