Sup, /fit/

My girlfriend and I are both trying to shed some extra fat (i.e. most of it). However, this is the first time in my life I've actually committed to diet and exercise. I just started going to the gym, but what sort of foods should I aim for?

Fruits and vegetables, obviously. But how far am I allowed to venture before just canceling everything? What sort of foods should I avoid? On a similar note, most vegetables make my girlfriend violently ill. Fruits are OK, but I need some variety. Any suggestions?

Greens are awesome: asparagus, edamame, artichoke, bell peppers, spinach, parsley, yum!

Jesus H. Christ you're right! God, why didn't I see it when she dragged that corpse through the living-room or when she spent 45 minutes licking herself?

Actually, that was kinda hot.

Sounds good. Oh, I forgot to mention, I'm a culinary student.

She liked bell peppers, but not a lot of the other greens. I'll eat about anything, personally.

I was kinda hoping that there would be some sort of substitute so that she could keep them down. Would having her eat fruits, lean meats, and supplements suffice?

Pasta is difficult, particularly because it fills her very quickly. Everything else is great, thanks.

>Fruits aren't healthy

you're retarded.
Fruits are healthy, you just have to know how to manage your carb intake.

if you're eating fruit you shouldn't have too. problem isn't fruit, problem is the insulinogenic starches and other ultra-processed bullshit that people eat. if people actually ate their fruit and vegetables (could probably leave out the potatoes) their wouldn't be a fucking problem.
