So as not to be a disfigured freak, I do all my lifting with dumbbells and always do the same number of reps with each hand. I find that if I use a bar instead I can lift a lot more weight, but assume that it is righty getting the extra workout, which is what I am trying to avoid. Even after a year of this rule is righty still way bigger than lefty.

I actually have the same problem as you; my right arm is a decent amount stronger than my left arm, and it shows. Still attempting to correct this.

my trainer downplays the unequal strength, focusing on having equal reps done, always even when one side is more tired than the other. says they'll even out.
