Will crunches get me abs like this?
THUMB PENIS
can't spot-treat fat, etc etc.
>>116522While you can't spot-treat fat, you certainly can spot-treat muscle, and the combined effect of building muscles in the problem spot and burning some general fat is close enough that you might as well act like spot-treating worked.
>>116522While this may be true, it's totally useless advice.
>>116529not really, crunches don't burn enough general fat to make a difference, especially considering abdominal fat is among the hardest to get rid ofyou'll have nice abs, but no one will be able to see them under the flab
>>116560It's not advice, it's a true answer to a stupid question.
>>116529Truth. Adding muscle to the area, even if you aren't burning fat, makes it look better.
>>116593Wrong. If you have enough fat that you can't see your abs underneath it, then building them up will just push the fat out. You'll end up looking fatter.
sad but true
Lose weight + do weighted crunches (take a weight plate and do crunches with it on your chest or better behind your head).Repeat this routine for some time.????Profit.
>>116609yeah. I personally find weighted crunches (weight behind the head with your head hanging off a bench) to be awesome
Alone? No.
I have problems with ab exercises because they agitate my neck. Any advice?
What about doing leg-lifts? Keeps your upper torso and head vertical, no strain on your neck. And man, you can get a good burn going on your abs with those
>>117743That's a good idea, but is it going to exercise everything though? I thought leg lifts only work your lower abs.
>>117747Swing your legs in different directions. Far left and right, you should feel it in your obliques.
