Hi /fit/,

I haven't really been doing any significant excercise up til now, but I've recently started cycling a fair bit to and from work. I'm also trying to lose about 10 kilos, and up until now I've aiming for a low-calorie diet. But as I've amped up my excercise levels, I'm finding I get too dizzy and tired eating what I'd otherwise consider to be healthy and get this weird metallic taste. After a long bike ride today, for instance, I was so lightheaded I splurged on brownies upon arrival at my destination.

For a 65kg female, BMI 24.8, about how many kC should I be consuming in a day, if I do all up about 1 1/2 to 2 hours intense cycling? What sort of foods are good to eat if you're trying to lose a fair bit of weight and be energetic enough to do cardio like this? It'd be really awesome if someone in a similar position could give me a sample of the sort of things they ate in day. Thanks all.

Why? Why did you post that. Does insulting other people somehow temporarily block the complete and total failure that is your life?
