The best way to get better at pull-ups is... you guessed it:
MORE PULL-UPS.
Seriously man. If you max out at two, give it a minute, then hit the bar again and try and squeeze out another. When you absolutely cannot do another rep... give it another minute and try again. Then eat well and sleep.
After a few days you'll find you can do a few more each time, the number will grow pretty steadily until you reach 10 straight or so.
Then you need to throw some weights in a rucksack (10kg/20lbs) to start, and do the same pull-ups weighted. Your back will double in size in a few weeks.
Then go for some deadlifts, squats and overhead press.
