How important is grip strength?

Pic is of the hand grip I bought earlier today.

Grip is frequently the weakest link, failing before your big muscles will fail.

Its important so you break knuckles while shaking hands.

brotip: grippers suck. do pullups and switch up your grips. reverse preacher curls and barbell/dumbell wrist curls are good too, just stretch out so you dont get a tard hand.

Buy Captains of Crush or Ivanko. Everything else is a waste of time.

Bullshit, the best arm wrestlers and kings of grip use them.

You can make your own thick grip dumbbells, you can make your own block weights (google it), you can do a lot of at home projects to make grip better. Grip is ESSENTIAL it can easily limit the number of reps you can do and limit certain heavy lifts no doubt. Like my grip right now runs out when doing kettlebell snatches. There are different types of grip strength with pinch and crush being the main difference. You can google the details about those. There are different drills/moves for different goals so honestly doing heavy deadlifts and heavy pullups will take care of most common grip problems.

well, anything else you need to do. honestly overhand narrow pullups SHRED those muscles up top, and the curls really work the insides. try it. if you dont like it use your gripper. I walk on forearm crutches all the time, so grippers are useless to me; but the pullups work great.
