What's the best protein powder for someone who's never used it before and someone who hates the taste of milk/gets sick from drinking milk/will mix it with water probably?

Whey's been shown to have a better anabolic effect. If you only use one protien use whey; though some people use egg protien, soy, and other proteins in combination. Nothing you should worry about at your stage though.

Whey is one type of "pure" protein found in milk. usually you make a whey shake right after the workouts because during that time the body tends to absorb the maximum protein it can.

When people drink milk most of it gets wasted, i think more than 60% gets out. it's also very expensive compared to lets say eggs. Even whey powder is more economical since you get more protein per serving.

Whey is fast absorbing, best right after workouts.
Eggs are really cheap and nutritious.

I really like Optimum Nutrition whey, preferably in chocolate. It's the only protein that I've had that doesn't taste disgustingly sweet. It tastes kind of like powdered chocolate milk, like ovaltine or quick or something.
