Hi /fit/
I've lost over 50 pounds in the course of 2 and a half months. It feels great, but unfortunately I have been left with excess skin and stretch marks. I know this probably has been asked many times before, but how do I get rid of it?

YOU SHOULD HAVE FUCKING EXERCISED AND GAINED MUSCLES YOU MORON
>> Anonymous
stretch marks you're stuck with to an extent, they'll fade somewhat.

excess skin should retract to an extent, but if it is a massive amount then you'll need surgery to remove it.

Eat at least 5000 calories a day. Eventually you'll gain fat to fill in your saggy skin

Give it a year to contract itself. If it doesn't get better after that you will have to consider surgery.

You can try to put some muscle there too, but don't expect much.

its healthy to lose like 25 lbs in 2 and a half months but

50?

mine is much worse than this after losing 130lbs, quit your complaining :(

tone for great justice, tone tone tone! itll help to an extent, bur yeah retracting skin takes ages, my big bro went from 18st 4 to 11st 5 in a year (and im somewhere along those lines myself, we had really shitty eating habits and piss poor diets, fixed)

but a year later the strechies faded and with toning such as cardio, situps, pressups etc, his body stretched back into shape (awesome shape actually, goes to show work hard and reap the rewards)

kudos for the extreme weightloss, and wtf at the same time, surely you knew that could happen, just dont freak the shit out about it and let your body deal with it, though some of that zinc shit can help hide the appearance of the strech marks

1. Skin: stretchy skin is bodyfat still. Sorry, gonna have to lose more bodyfat to tighten it up...
2. Stretch marks: what's the big deal? They look awesome and are a sign of accomplishment. Fuck ridding them, can't do it anyways.

How in the hell did you lose 50 pounds in less than 3 months?

Ah, I did the same. 50 lb in 2.5 months... but you know, it's really no good at this point. I took have some loose skin I'm gradually working down via a HEALTHY diet (hint: venuto) and the same exercise regime. Being skinnyfat isn't fun, trust me.

Learn to sit straight fags. I have them too and I know damn well that they don't come from growing tall too fast.

Funny because I have them on my legs too, I have them ever since I hit 6'2" when I was TWELVE years old.

It was cool at the time, but now, shitsux.

I actually don't have the best posture, but I fail to see how slouching sometimes would net stretch marks on my back, (or legs for that matter.)

Anerobic exercise (weight lifting) will tone them back.
The effects of weightlifting increase the grip of muscles on bone and skin. That's how they get their "hard" bodies.

it's been over a year for me and it's still all there, I just tuck it into my shorts if I take my shirt off

If your belly was just stretched out, then it would get smaller again.

In your case, skin cells multiplied like hell in there, the only way you're going to do anything there is by surgery.
