Ok, i use Kre-Alkalyn and i swear by it. I've also tried normal creatine, the difference is notisable but not drastically regards to bloating. Kre-alkalyn did remove the bloat and for that alone i would use it.
Regarding the absorbtion rate and the breakdown before reaching the muscle. I don't know if 5% or 10% or 99.9% is being absorbed. I'm not a scientist but i know that it DOES make a great impact on my workouts and the way i look.
