Lats, /fit/.

Seems to be the hardest muscle group for me to target.
Currently do Lat pulldown and Deadlifts, almost never get them to the point of being sore. Any tips? or other exercises?

both, but i'd lean more towards wide

also, hang weight from your waist. i'm 6'2 175lb and i hang 25 for wide pullups and 35 for chin ups. i'm sure there are guys a lot stronger than me that can hang a lot more

Are you keeping your elbows pinned and using a thumbless (i.e. thumb over with other fingers) grip?

Close grip bench is supposed to work your triceps

Yes to thumb thing, what's elbow pinned mean

Imagine you're doing bent rows or something similar, when you pull the weight back your elbows should not flare out, they should be kept in a straight line to the rest of your arm. Your elbows should end up almost against your body. If you have any lat development you could do it now and you'd actually feel your lats tense up as you kept your elbows pinned.

I've been doing weighted pull-ups for a few months and my back has exploded. I use many variations, wide and narrow, overhand and underhand, parallel grip, etc.

The most important thing is technique. Just imagine and feel your lats doing the work instead of your biceps. When doing back exercises of any sort, it's important to do the pulling motion fast and explosive. Be sure to pause and "squeeze" your back at the top of the movement, like somebody is going to hit you there. Then lower it at a moderate pace, about 2-3 seconds.
