Hey /fit/, I've got a question.
When I work out, I only rest for 30-45 seconds in between sets. Then I ride the excercise bike for 20 minutes 3 times a week. Is this sufficient cardio?

no need to be so hostile, man.

I'm 5'9" 155 pounds. I want a little more definition. I do high reps too.

lol. With how high your heart rate is between sets, you should be perfectly fine. I would add a bit more cardio obviously if you want a bit more muscle definition though. If you're doing a normal biking set, try doing interval training. Push yourself VERY hard for 2-3 minutes until your heart rate is over 150, then back off and go lighter for a few minutes, then back to heavy, etc... Try to maintain 150+ heart rate the entire 20 minutes.

Also, I'm a MAN.

That's fine. Are you a fatass? I ask, because it's generally harder to keep such a high heart rate on a bike, unless you're obese.
>> Anonymous
Nope, I'm not fat at all. I pedal around 18-20 mph. Maybe this is it?

Is it still challenging?

Yeah it's definitely still challenging. I find myself really counting down the minutes towards the end.

18-20 mph on an exercise bike is hardly 18-20 mph on the road. don't be a fag - hit the road
