I have a question about HIIT cardio.How I've been doing it is I'll follow a DVD cardio max program and, after each set, quickly pause the DVD and do about 20 seconds of jump rope (which usually shoots my heart rate to around 80% of max).Is mixing up the workout like this truly considered HIIT? Or does it have to be the same exercise throughout, only increasing the intensity every minute?I don't have access to any cardio equipment and don't have any expanse area to walk/run.
