So I've got a question about weight lifting for you /fit/. Is it possible to get gains and only lift for maybe a half hour? I see some of the routines here and its like Monday 3x12 pec flys, 5x5 bench press and thats it. That's like 15 minutes. Am I really supposed to go to the gym for 15 mins and expect to see something?

There are studies that have shown that spending more than an hour working out diminishes gains.

Most of us I believe would fall in between the 45 minutes to an Hour.

And no, if you just went to a gym for fifteen minutes, you probably won't see any gains. You must have a misunderstanding.

no you gotta lift for 23 hours a day and down protein shakes in the other hour. no alternatives.

Yes, you can and will see gains. Probably more gains if you do more stuff in the 30-45 minute range.
