sup /fit/,

I'm trying to cut fat so I've been doing about an hour and a half of cardio each day in 2 45 minute sessions. (swimming and then pic related) I was wondering, how often should I eat and what should I eat?

How many calories should I take in and how should I spread that out?

be prepared to lose around 5 pounds due to DDR in approximately a month and then PLATEAU PLATEAU PLATEAU

DDR is tcomplete shit for exercise and really does absolutely nothing for you

in b4 anecdotal stories attempting to prove otherwise and bullshit data from the DDR calorie counter

oh /fit/ you faggots, ddr is fine to start with, especially since OP is swimming as well. if exercise is fun, you'll stick with it longer, even if it isn't as beneficial as running or whatever

If he can SWIM for 45 minutes, I doubt DDR will do anything good.(compared to running/rope jumping etc etc)

or he could go faster and longer on DDR and not PLATEAU PLATEAU PLATEAU

it still raises your heart rate, it's better than doing nothing. just the swimming would be great, but DDR is just another little thing that helps. nobody's trying to sell it as the perfect cardio.

He still wastes his time, if you are gona do some cardio, then do it right and don't whine like a faggot about it being boring.

he probably wouldn't do the extra 45m of cardio if it weren't fun. exercise/health isn't something that the average person sees as the main focus of their life.

OP Here,

I lost over 100 lbs, (and I'm not even shitting you) playing absolutely nothing but DDR every day for about a year, no special diet or anything. I lost so much weight because it is fun and it made me stick with it. I began swimming as soon as I wasn't so fat that I felt bad taking my shirt off in public.

I will continue to do these 2 forms of cardio in conjunction with eachother, because it's effective for me.

I'm sorry if you hate DDR, I play it for fun more than anything else.

I'd really appreciate an answer to my original question though, because I know jack and shit about metabolism.
