How to increase metabolism
1.) Go running before you eat breakfast, will set the pace for the rest of the day
2.) Eat 5-6 SMALL meals a day, will keep your metabolism active the entire day

2. Have a cup of green tea after every meal
3. Have raspberries with your morning oatmeal/cereal (not technically metabolic, but raspberries have Raspberry Ketones which help metabolize fat)
4. Coconut oil. It improves thyroid efficiency, in addition to the benefit of dietary fat making your metabolism relax and be more willing to burn stored fat

Yeah, saying "lol exercise and your metabolism will go up" is utter bullshit. I could exercise [cardio] 3 hours a day for a year and it would still be just as hard for me to get up that much energy in a year as it is now. I know, I've kinda been there before.

My sister went from slow to hyper fast, but she had to get diabeties and have trouble nailing down her insulin usage for it happened. I really wouldn't recommend that to anyone; OD'ing on insulin for a long time until it fucks up your metabolism.
