So, /fit/, I started on a diet at the beginning of the month and have kept it up so far. I try to eat as very low calories as possible. On average, I'm probably getting less than 500 calories a day, and I try to run to lose 230-240 calories a day. I've lost about 20-21 lb so far. But, I'm fucking hungry. What do I do?

You are putting your body in starvation mode. I would suggest increasing your body's caloric intake, even though you are guaranteed to gain weight, and try again.

1200 is the absolute lowest you should go if you're cutting calories, and even then you should limit how long you eat that little, because your body will begin to store every bit of food as fat the second you eat it.

Rather than dieting to the extreme, eat healthy, lean proteins, lots of vegetables, some fruit, etc. Cut out soda, alcohol, and junk food. Focusing on eating healthy and exercising it off, rather than focusing on eating very little, will make a very big difference. Doing it the healthy way will make you thin for the long run, rather than until you start eating properly again.

Unless a doctor says so, no one should be eating under 1750 calories, really. So up your calories to 1750 and exercise more.

Spread your meals out, you'll be less hungry and eating more on this plan. You'll lose weight safer. Eating 500 calories a day means, basically, as soon as you stop you're going to go back to eating how you used to (more than 2000 calories, I'll bet, but lets say say 2000). That is 1500+ calories a day. Seven days a week. That is 10,000 calories per week more than what you were eating. Congratulations, you just gained nearly 3lbs of body fat in a single week.

It's just that... Every time I have ate less and exercised, all that happened was that I lost absolutely nothing after two weeks and gave up when I lost motivation.

Also, Coke Zero or Diet Coke is alright, no? I've been drinking it for nearly a decade now since my brother obtained diabetes, and it has no carbs or calories.

500? dude, that's dangerous, you're literally starving yourself, and losing any muscle you had.

that's because it's not all about eating less. it's about eating the RIGHT things at the RIGHT times.

How does this sound:

Breakfast - Bowl of Frosted Flakes (and not those fucking serving sizes. I dunno who the fuck can eat just 3/4 of a mother fucking cup of cereal)

Lunch - Peanut butter sandwich, some sort of fruit

Dinner - As a Persian, I eat rice a lot, so most likely some sort of rice recipe my mother will make.

Perfect my plan, please.

frosted flakes have sugar up the ass, so you might want a different cereal or food

Also, carbs, such as rice, aren't great around dinner time. Brown rice is better than white, but still not great. Scale back your rice and replace it with extra protein. I know some Persians who eat really late, too, so try to not eat the rice past 6pm if possible.

Cheerios. Oatmeal. Bran. Granola cereal. Stuff that lacks marshmallows and the word "Frosted" or "chocolate."

This is impossibly hard. A Persian's diet is mainly white rice. Of course, my mom doesn't add oil or anything to it, she lets people add butter to their rice when it's hot. I never do, though.

Also, we usually eat around 8 PM. I don't think we have ever ate around 6 PM, so I dunno if we can even do that.
