is white rice healthy? if not then what are some alternatives? and if forced to eat white rice then how much would be an OK portion. trying to lose fat and gain muscle here.

Yeah, doesn't really concern me to be honest. Maybe if you were eating nothing but rice all day every day it might become a problem after a long time, but seriously, as part of a balanced diet it ain't gonna make shit difference.
