Would it be fine if I take a break during my week workout? I usually go everyday, but I seem to be burning out. Would it be fine if I take a break on Saturday and Sunday? Would my progress slow down if I only do Monday through Friday.

seriously, 7 days a week? You need to rest. If you're a cardiofag, try playing a sport instead of running on the mill. If you are lifting, you need to stop working out 7 days a week.

Try to stimulate yourself, keep it interesting. Sports if possible, even something stupid like a spinclass or cardio boxing

Ok, I'll take Saturday and Sunday off and just do Monday-Friday. Hopefully, I get rejuvenated.

I don't really like doing sports because I'm not really competitive.

try take a week off if you hit a plateau, helped me in the past. Now i just lower the weight, or put more weight on, and when that doesnt help anymore, ill take a week off.

Would walking my dogs be ok?

Remember new athletes: your muscles only grow in rest. No pain no gain is a foolish, self-defeating mentality that leads to needless injury. Your gains only happen during periods of nonactivity, so keep this in mind. There is a reason we experienced athletes alternate muscle groups while weight lifting, and take it easy on the weekends after 50+ miles of weekly running.

Actually its weekdays with lower mileage and weekends with long distance running. Unless you work on the weekends and have days off on the weekdays.
