I'm an 18 year old girl, I am 1m53 (so short I know...) and my weight it 66.6 kg.

As you can see, I am overweight, and I was wondering: Should I try to lose weight on my own or should I look for help from a dietist? I already tried to lose weight myself...I lost 12kg which brought my weight to 57 kg, but in a few weeks I ended up going back to 66. I didn't gain more weight, but it was a huge slap in my face because I was very happy to lose more than 10kg. Now, I think I should just look for help instead of doing everything on my own pace. Not English..sorry for mistakes.

If you gained 10 kg in a few weeks it should mean you lost water, not fat. Start exercising, go to a gym, the trainers can help with diet aswell. No need to pay double.

Thanks. Another question: How much weight should I lose in a month so I won't gain a lot back in a short time?

Congratulations, you write better english than most mis/fit/s.

But yeah, what>>364437
said.

How long did it take you to lose the 12kg? You don't seem grossly overweight (depends on your muscle/fat ratio, but since you're talking diet I'm guessing you don't lift weights much).
I think a dietist might be overkill, but maybe one or two consultations couldn't hurt.

/rs/ for a book called "Burn the fat, feed the muscle." It will give you an idea on what to do and how to do it right.

The thing you said basically sounds that you just lost water weight and nothing more.

Healthy is 1-2lbs a week. It will trail off to 1lb or less eventually as there is less to lose.
>> I posted this on another board, but I decided I needed a larger audience. OP
