alright, /fit/, I've got an EFA-related question. I'm looking to ensure I'm receiving a sufficient amount of Omega 3 and 6, but I looked at the labels for some soft capsules of fish oil, and they actually have less EFAs per serving than Goldfish, the delicious baked snack food, the nutritional label of which is pictured on the left. For those who might not necessarily know, it is my understanding that poly/monounsaturated fat, Omega 3/6, and that DHA/whatever terminology are all words for the same thing, so I'm wondering if fish oils have some aspects that Goldfish lack, regarding healthy fats.

Or you could just, you know, eat fish.

Fish tastes like ass and is annoying to prepare.

Nope, I stopped when salmon tasted like salt garnished with bird shit. I know "you have to prepare the right find of fish correctly" but it is too hit or miss for me to incorporate into my diet. Which is why people even use plain fish oil, which is why I'm wondering if Goldfish will fit the bill.

As a rule of thumb any large fish is inherently iffy. Tuna, salmon, and all of those really popular fish are the kind that start to taste like ass if they aren't fresh.

Tiny little fish on the other hand are always fucking tasty. The little finger length ones taste godly fried, but even baked they're damn good.

Red snapper fillet is also heavenly.

Fucking pussy, fish is delicious. Sprinkle some squeezed lemon juice if it tastes so bad.

So nobody's got an opinion on fish oil vs. goldfish with regards to EFAs?

Mercury from fish is vastly overhyped as a danger. According to the EPA standards, all the Japanese should be dead.

The only fish that have large concentrations of mercury are large, predatory fish such as sharks and swordfish. Even in those examples, you would have to go out of your way to eat enough to make you sick.

Ah... Mercury. The sweetest of the transitional metals!
