Fatfag here... anonymoys
Okay, here's the deal.

I'm gonna go to army at an year from now. It's either that, or two years of civilian service + stamp ''This one's a homo'' to the forehead.
And frankly, I'm a fat-bastard. Not obese, but quite overweight.
I know it's gonna be hell for fat-pricks, so I've decided to start excercising again.
Would 1 hour in the gym + 1 hour of active swimming three times a week (also dropping snacks) be enough?
I'm 196 cm tall and I weight 117 kg, I thought about dropping something like 10 kilos (Even more if possible) before the hell starts.

What kind of program would be best? To concentrate in dropping weight, or should one hit the weights too?

Your advides are more than welcome, /fit/fags.

Picture not related, but still awesome.

Okay start doing cardio, and I mean now. Do around 15 mins of jogging today if you can. Don't modify your diet too much, cutting down on calories is a bad idea, it fucks up your metabolism (I know people are going to challenge that statement!), and it's simply better to lose weight though excercise anyway. But it would be a good idea to cut out fast food/soft drinks etc from your diet though.

So yeah do a whole body workout 3 times a week (see link for dumbell excercises) and cardio every other day or something, and the once you get yourself to basic training you'll be one of the best prepared guys there!

Since one hour is counterproductive really, and too intense for a beginner.
