Do it like you would with weights. Start slow and raise the time you spend in the sun little by little. day 1: 30 mins day 2: 45 mins and so on. You don't want a sunburn, shitsux. Once you have a good basis, you can try out going near water. A river, lake, pool, will greatly enhance sun power due to reflection. Be careful! Check your skin and if you feel it tingle, stop sun-bathing. A sunburn gets really bad after one or two hours, so you might think you are safe, but at night you'll feel like a lobster.
