Sup /fit/I'm about 5'9 and around 200 pounds and am attempting to lose weight. I've started doing 30 minutes on a gazelle style machine directly followed by 30 push-ups every day. I'm not on any real diet plan, I just sort of eat less than normal and avoiding junk food.Will I see much progress this way or should I have a more specific diet plan?

sounds fine.i'd recommend a calorie counter for at least a day. you'd be amazed how much you learn @_@http://fitday.com/also, perhaps 45 mins cardio to guarantee results.
