Never starve yourself. I always eat every 2-3 hours, no matter what time it is. If I'm awake, I need to eat. And post-work out meals are the most important meals you can ever eat.
Also, are you trying to pack on muscle? If so then you need to be eating a shit ton of food. CLEAN, HEALTHY FOOD. It's not very calorie dense, hence the massive eating in a vain attempt to jack up your calorie quota. You should never feel hungry, EVER. Hell, some people set their alarm to wake up in the middle of the night just to eat and go back to sleep to give their body more nutrition.
Bottom line: EAT
