/fit/ help

I did like 2 hours of running/jogging yesterday (I'm 280lbs) and the impact must of fucked up my muscles/bones because the inside of my hip (around the groin) hurts like a motherfucker whenever I walk.

It's probably muscle strain? but how do I help it heal, and how do I prevent it. what kind of cardio can I do without using that area of my body

Elliptical machines are your BFF until your fat ass can handle the impact of your fat ass bouncing around.

what's the difference between Ellipticals and Cycling machines?

Sitting/standing is the main difference.
Elliptical machines make you move your arms more so you get more of a work out, but that's mostly just my opinion. I can't say for sure that this is true.

Also, 2 hours of running/jogging is a pretty long time. You probably just worked too hard for 1 day.

Jogging is old school cardio. I do jump rope which is much easier on the knees and I can burn 600kcals in just 30 minutes.

Jump rope is fucking super, I like to do it too. But, I doubt a 280 lbs guy who can't handle jogging is going to be able to jump much.

Recumbent bike, if you can tolerate looking like a pussy.

it sounds like just plain old muscle strain due to you being a lazy fatty.

But you should be concerned for your joints at your weight, run on a treadmill or track at the very least if you like jogging. Second on the elliptical or bike, and I'll throw in a vote for a rowing machine.

Good luck
