Go to an orthapedic doc. Last one was? Try another. He might sugjest an M.R.I.
You might have torn of displaced something. Most likley your maniscus. No not that scary. Happens to a LOT of people, guys and galls. Even the freak that is me.
If you can't afford the procedure. Try a glucosamine suplament. You can find one at your local sports nutrition supply store. It helps to lubricate the joints, and encoragese the joints to create new padding. Not a solution, but an option for improvement. It will take a week or so for you to notice a differece with the suplament so give it time.
Until then try to streingthen the muscles around the knee. Nothing high impact. Just to try to take some of the stress of the joint and put it on the muscles. Good luck, and take care.
