I used to, when I was like 13 or 14. I was pretty depressed and it basically replaced the emotional pain with physical pain. But in the long run it really doesn't help, it just drove me deeper into myself and my depression, which I gladly managed to pull myself out of with the help of friends and family. If you are feeling the urge to self harm I find hard, heavy weightlifting can help, it provides the physical distraction without the damage, but of course what you really need to do is talk about your feelings with someone, find someone to help you through your pain.
