So did I. I gained alot of weight last summer because I only rank soda instead of water in the heat of day.
Since newyears I made a resolution not to drink soda or eat chips and chocolate on week days. So far I havent touched any chocolate at all, had a few handsfull of chips one day. (I used to eat several bags a week) and only drink soda on weekends. (I buy one bottle and finish it by sunday). I still drink beer on weekends though.
You should also check your eating habits. one tip: HAVE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH. people who skip breakfast usually end up gorging themselves at night. Not only is it fattening, its also bad for your stomach.
When I get munchies in the evening I eat fresh fruit, like oranges or pineapple. it tastes good and your can eat all you want. (except bananas)
