Greeting /fit/, I've been lurking over the past few weeks and realizing how unfit and faggoty I've become. So, I'm I'm going to do this from tommorow.
Mon: Jogging (8km)
Tues: Weights (using dumbells)
Wens:Jog
Thurs: Weights
Fri: Jog
Sat: Swim

The question I wanted to ask is I also play sport (used to play many, now down to handball) and last time I did something like this I noticed my speed slowing, was I just a fatass or is it the result of training? Is there anyway to fix this? I'm adding skipping into my exercise regime as I heard this helped...

If you want to speed up, do SQUATZ (builds leg strength) and sprints (builds power to use that strength)

yah squats make you faster. Also jumping. Just jump as high as you can 10 times in a row every day. You'll notice big speed increases.

Ok, squats, cool.
What do you suggest for sprints? Suicides? Or should I just be incorporating the sprints into my jogging? (before or after? What sort of distance/time should I be sprinting for during my jog?)
