april 29: 188 lbs
may 29: 177 lbs
june 29: 169 lbs, bodyfat ~17% (just bought a caliper)

I feel like I didn't get as much progress (visually) this month. I did slack a bit, and drank way more than I did during the first month. I was hovering around 172 lbs for wayyy too long (nearly 3 weeks).

routine is 3 days of lifts (chest+tri, back+bi, legs+shoulders) and 5-6 days of HIIT or steady state cardio, depending on how I feel.

Nice progress on the dieting. Keep lifting, but don't expect muscle to grow during a caloric deficit. Just focus on getting cut and keeping what muscle you do have. Bulking can come later.

About the bodyfat: calipers, impedance, circumference... It's all way prone to error. The best way is to do the measurements the same each time and compare relative to the last reading. Comparing the absolute values to other people's will show how variable it all is.

Just curious: what does the circumference method give for you?
