what does /fit/ think about rock climbing? (by way of a workout - benefits.. etc)
Enjoy falling.
Enjoy being able to do 1000 consecutive pullups.
Rock climbers are some of the scariest strong hands I've ever shook with.
I dunno about outdoor rock climbing, but indoor is perfectly safe, you meet great people (plenty of hot chicks love it), and you will get in fantastic shape. Do it.
I did rock climbing for a few years in college. I swear to god it was like my hands turned into steel. I just wish there was somewhere I could do it without paying the huge admission price. Inb4 go outside, I don't feel like breaking my skull again.
thats how a guy can get really defined forearms.this thread answers questions from another post on /fit/
>>59052Haha I'm the OP from that thread. Good to know it does, I've also been interested in rock climbing.
climbing is fun and is really good for building strength and muscles. I'm pretty bad at it and don't do it regularly at all (fatty) but I have a friend who works at the local climbing centre, and others who are really into it, and they have fucking amazing bodies.
Climbing's fuckin' amazing. It's a full body workout if you push yourself.I'm a climber and last time I checked, I had somewhere aroun 7 or 8 % body fat. It feels good.
i had a friend we called "chubby carol" whenever anyone brought up BMI because he was obese by it's measurements... 5'5" and fucking ripped climber
