Just remember that human bodies respond much more efficiently to animal proteins. And remember that each form of animal protein has different, vital amino acids.
Protein is not all the same, just like carbs are not all the same, but the FDA doesn't bother to break it down for you on the nutrition labels.
I'll say this: Make sure you regularly get protein from red meat, poultry and fish. They'll all different. It doesn't need to be daily for each, but since a week has seven days you may as well break it thusly:
Monday - Fish Tuesday - Chicken Wed - Beef
And just keep up a cycle like that. Don't get accustomed to drinking whey proteins too often. They're helpful, yes, but too many people exlusively chug whey shakes thinking it's a wholesome way to get ALL their protein...and they're dead wrong.
