I have had dry, chapped lips for 6 years and I've had enough Anonymous
I've used vaseline, lip balm, lip moisturizer, and I'm currently using a breast cream for my lips.

The problem is my lips get superfucking dry in 4 hours, so I have to keep putting it on. I can't go a day without it.

My Doctor called it a "fetish" and that I stop using it, well I did. Guess what happened? My lips chapped the fuck up, skin was peeling off, I was bleeding, etc.

Am I going to be like this forever? Nothing is working.

How long did you go without chapstick?

About 3 days, then it started peeling (which I thought was good). I gave up at 5 days and went back to using it.

Drink more water and make sure you are getting enough fats in your diet. Your lips are just thin skin, so hydrate.

Also, make sure you aren't licking you lips a lot. It sounds silly but it makes a difference.

your diet is lacking in vitamins and minerals that sustain healthy skin.

I also have OP's problem but I vaseline Lip Therapy. I'm allergic to a lot of the other stuff. Plus you got to make sure what ever you use doesn't have menthal in it. Apparently some people get really addicted to it from their chap stick. With vaseline your only using 100% white petroleum so their is no harm for reapplying it several times a day.
