Hey /fit/, I've had this black dot on my heel for a little over a month now. Just wondering what exactly it is.
I've tried washing it to make sure it wasn't a stain
I've tried rubbing off the skin to make sure it wasn't lodged underneath.

Ever thought about plantar warts?

It's a friggin mole, sunspot, beauty mark, black freckle, whatever the hell you call it, it's a deposit of melanin in your skin that make the area dark.

While it's uncommon to have moles in areas where you're not exposed to the sun often (provided you're not underage b&) it's not unheard of.

I have a mole inside my ear canal.

Bit to blurry to recognize...

Does it look similar to this

Not really, it's just a black dot. I figured it wouldn't be a freckle/mole or whatnot because it was on my heel.

looks like dried blood clot under skin.

OR AIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Unlikely as I've been using nail clippers and a pumastone every few days for the past month.

yeah but that's under your skin right? your heel skin will keep growing over it, and the clot will stay there a while. like an underskin scab, from stepping on something like a tack or even a pointy rock. heel skin is pretty thick, so you can layers of it over the dried clot. carve in there with a razor blade if you want it out that bad, take it to "any lab test" for a biopsy. or just ignore it. you'll be ok. it doesnt hurt right?

I had exactly the same thing on the top of my finger a few weeks ago. I had it for a month or so, in the end it hurt a little to type but about two weeks ago I woke up and the thing had just fallen off. I had a put in my finger for about three days and now it's recoverd back to normal. Still don't know what it was though.

Nope, doesn't hurt at all.
I carve in with the nail clippers.
