Anyone ever overtrained? I have, and I need to take next week off. What can I do during the week to keep from feeling like a lazy slob, though? Go for walks?

overtrained how exactly? if you lifted to much then take a run. if you ran to much then lift.

I trained 5 days per week every week since June and flailed my muscles each time. When I stopped making progress last month, I switched up my exercises ("muscle confusion"). But I'm feeling more sore lately, for longer periods of time; and I'm feeling my core muscles straining under loads. The BAD kind of straining.

Only weak fags have the possibility of over training. That being said, suicide is your only option.

>>What can I do during the week to keep from feeling like a lazy slob,

catch up on some other work around the house...rotate your tires and change the oil in your car....or clean the gutters....anything that's productive but not necessarily physically demanding.

Yes, unless you're a performance athlete, you'll fuck up something. Weight training is to demanding.

You can train still but not weights brah.
