A while back I accidentally clicked /fit/ instead of /fa/. I poked around here for about an hour, read some advice.

Someone was posting, asking about a good way to lose weight and you guys responded with "do you really not have enough time in your day to walk 45 minutes?" That comment changed my life.

I've been walking, and then jogging, first a mile, now 2 miles. I'm sure that'll grow too. I was never horribly out of shape, but now I'm more fit, my skin looks better-- still pale, but now actually like alive people's skin, and I'm just HAPPIER. It's like I was trapped in a pattern of non-activity, and now I feel ready to just bounce up and go at any second, just from jogging 45 minutes a day! I just wanted to thank you. It's amazing what a little push of change can do. Thank you for pushing me, /fit/.

It was me that made that comment.
You can repay me with sexual favors.

You're welcome. And your pic was awesome.

This board is a cesspool. Any life-changing tips would be erroneously gleaned.

However, the end justifies the means in this case. Well done and keep it up.

WORK OUT HARDER

I have to say, /fit/ has helped me as well.

It used to be very easy for me to waste a whole off-day (I work hard 4 days a week) doing nothing but trolling the internet. Now I make sure to read fit whenever I'm on the tubes and as I read more and more about fatties and fitties it motivates me to make sure I get out.

Hell, I often work out while readin /fit/. . . in an hour I'll go do my interval training . . . but really, /fit/ helps me keep my eye on the prize and helps remind me how easy it is to push yourself every day.

that said, there's some terrible advice on this board.
