Fail cause it tastes bad?

I'm drinking a Muscle Milk Light right now and I want to know how good it is based on its nutrition.

whenever i just HAVE to buy a PWO shake, I usually go for the promax stuff. It almost never clumps, and tastes pretty good.

i usually don't like to waste my money, because i have protein powder at home that's like, what, 70 cents per scoop?

looks pretty standard. not as much protein as a lot of other shakes, but not as many calories, either. you can probably get more for your buck elsewhere.

Instead of starting a new thread I'll ask this here. What is the best supplement for gaining weight? Muscle milk? This Promax stuff? WAT IS IT?

Thanks guys. I guess I'll have to do some shopping around. The reason I ask is because I can buy bulk muscle milk at Sam's.

Any other brands I should look out for other than promax?

just get some whey protein and drink it after your workout. it doesn't really matter which, but Optimum Nutrition is the go-to brand for most people. if you want something you can drink after workouts and anytime else, I like syntha-6 (whey, all the caseins, milk isolate, egg; expensive but tastes incredible).

honestly, before you buy protein, you should see if you can get lean protein from other sources. you need 1g/lb of body weight, so if you don't feel like you can get that in your diet, then go ahead and buy a supplement to push it over the edge. you don't really NEED them though.
