So I re-introduced HFCS into my diet, mainly because someone bought this "Lemonade", and I gots 3 pimples now. Bullshit! I'd like to think it's coincidence, but I'm pretty sure it's not.

HFCS is the devil

umm, even bread has HFCS pretty sure 99% of the population gets plenty of it.

Only shitty bread has HFCS, and not in the same amounts that drinks have I'm sure

HFCS breaks down in the body exactly like sucrose.

It's not magic, it's not deadly. It's just fucking sugar.

"breaks down"

Your body isn't as simple as you like to think. Lots of hormones regulate your body and some hormones are induced to act upon consumption of certain foods (such as sugar.) Insulin is a prime example.

Sort-of.

Sucrose is 50% fructose, 50% glucose.
HFCS is 100% fructose.

Sucrose: 50% glucose 50% fructose
HFCS most common form: 45% glucose 55% fructose

Sucrose is a disaccharide, but is partly hydrolyzed by the stomach acid, and the remainder is rapidly digested in the small intestine. Absorption characteristics are virtually identical to the constituent monosaccharides.

What does it fucking matter?

What I was intending to say was that our bodies don't react in isolation - we are a whole. Even as sugars are simply broken down there are factors such as time of day, energy level, calorie budget, genetics, et cetera, which will affect the effects.

I get free drinks from where I work, so I got a iced-tea (with HFCS) and then a got a nasty stomachache. I tend to avoid that stuff and eat organic.

Jesus, you people are girly faggots.
Anything is fine in moderation.
Just don't overdo it and you'll be fine.

No one even denied that. But HFCS in moderation? No thanks. I guess heroin in moderation is good too. Meth as well. Fuck you.
