sup /fit/i recently started weight lifting again after a long break and ofcourse i got DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) and its a fucking bitchis it safe to keep working that area or should i wait until the pain goes away?
I've heard that lighter workouts help flush the lactic acid buildup that causes the pain, which sounds about right as working out mainly floods the area with blood.So yes, but do a much lighter workout on it.

Wait until the pain goes away. Recovery is just as important as the workout.
