Protien Shakes Anonymous
Whats up /fit/

I have a question about protein shakes. What do you guys take? I'm looking for something that will increase my muscle size, but I don't want to bulk up too much. Basically, I want to be cut, but not huge. I don't know if that makes any sense for you.

Currently, I take Muscle tech Nitrotech Hardcore, which has 20 grams or Protein per serving. I take two servings after I work out.

I currently weigh 205, 5'9. I actually lost weight, before (about 6 months ago) I weighed 235.

Sorry if I sound like a dumb ass, but I'm curious to know, what do you guys recommend?

Ignore all these people who are saying that supplements are bad. There's a lot of negative press around supplements, and they are all incorrect. Just look around to pro level bodybuilders. All of them take these supplements to compete.


As far as protein goes, you are taking the correct amount at the right time. Directly after your workout and do not exceed 50g/hour at any time. After that, I'd suggest taking another shake before bed, and if you still feel prolonged soreness, maybe one when you wake up. Do not worry about 'bulking up too much'. Gaining significantly in size will take months to happen, so you'll be able to tell long before it arrives that you're getting too large.
