So I see tons of these threads on here but mine is a bit different. I'm 6'2" and have weighed around 140-145 since I was in like 8th grade (20 now btw). I'm wondering how I can gain weight and bulk up but there is a catch. I have IBS, lactose intolerance, and acid reflux so just about anything I eat gets shit out pretty fast. Any help would be appreciated, I have a friend thats a nutritionist and amateur personal trainer but he can't seem to figure a way for me to gain weight without going on creatine which I don't want to do since I heard it fucks you up and after you stop using it you lose everything you gain.

Blech, acid reflux? That rules out like all normal protein.

Drink protein shakes with crushed multivitamins and with a bit of alkaseltzer.

Alright I'll give it a shot, I have mega whey and regular whey powder, but ya they've always gone right through me.Do you know of any that don't taste like total ass too? I know they aren't supposed to taste good, but I've tried mixing banana, peanut butter, and everything under the sun I've been reccommended and I still have to hold my nose to down mine. Also, should I take them everyday regardless of if I don't workout?

Mix some fiber into it, but there's no real way to make it taste good. Eat it before your lifting, unnecessary before cardio.

Whey protein does come from milk, however, it should not contain lactose, but check the nutritional information.

Creatine is digested in the body to produce chemicals that can have a negative effect on the liver and kidneys. This is most likely to be due to the increase in blood plasma products rather than any inherent toxicity. It is perfectly safe when taken with a nutritional diet as a supplement.

In regards to IBS, can you stomach raw eggs? A smoothie with a banana and two raw eggs can give you 13grams of protein relatively well if you can stomach it.

For the acid reflux and IBS, the esters of protein supplements can be taken up faster. Look for (supplement name) methyl ester, or ethyl ester, such as creatine ethyl ester or methylated whey protein.

ya, I can stomach most light things like eggs or salads and stuff and actually do ok, fish and chicken is usually ok for me as long as it is not fried or anything

With IBS, wouldn't it be better to eat simple starches as opposed to grains with a lot of fiber in them?

You need to think foods that will slow their way down your intestines.

White bread and creamy peanut butter maybe?

OP again, are there any certain exercises that would maximize bulking up?
