speaking of stabilizers, i find that when doing leg presses like in OPs pic, that if i bring my legs all the way down as close to my chest as possible, it really works my lower abs and the very top of my legs. since i started using the leg press i've been seeing some crazy vein action

If you don't see results after a while you may need to work your lower back so you can go up in weight. Atleast that's what I've been told by a few trainers and coaches when I ask why I cant go up in squats.
