i can't believe you made a thread about this. fuck the brand, just go to a shoe store and tell the assistant you have wide feet and want running shoes. IS IT THAT HARD?

I don't wear Nike's but the kind of shoe you should wear for distance running depends entirely on the shape of your feet. if you have low arches or flat feet, you'll need a shoe with arch support to correct overpronation, if you have high arches you'll need a shoe with increased stability.
neutral arches: doesn't really matter.
most shoes are designed for a heel footstrike but if you have a mid footstrike (which is actually better for speed), you'll need a shoe with cushioning in the mid or forefoot.
also, if you have wide feet I recommend new balance as their shoes come in several widths.
