Evils of cleaning Anonymous
At my workplace, We recently have to clean the floors now, so I took on a task of cleaning the back hallway which is a MESS, probably hasn't been mopped in at least a month and as we are a restaurant, tiles don't go well with grease and whatever junk we have, so I used a deck brush to clean the floor (aka scrubbing it....) for about 40 minutes and I had pain in my stomach area and that kept up because I still had more cleaning to do, the area was probably about 50sq. ft at least and could it be possible that I strained my muscles in that area because I was scrubbing to hard?

Tuesday night is cleaning party so will be sure to have camera with me now :P

Also call-in sick today but it wasn't until I found someone to cover my shift I remembered what I did....

sounds like a work related injury. if you're in america, you never have to work again.

That is the abs doing something they almost never have to do. If it feels like a burn (like when you do situps), that is what it is. If it does not feel like a burn, then it is an injury and you should probably stop moppin'.

Also, switch sides regularly, assuming you haven't concluded that it is an injury. That'll at least even out the workout ;)

I see, I did switch sides but I am left handed (not that that means anything) so yeah itsn ot really a burn, well not that you mention it, its kinda one I suppose but I'm just going to go with its a injury from doing something that I don't normally do.....

Can't wait till Tuesday night...I suggested I pull apart the beer cooler which means I get to move like 10 Kegs + packs of bottles and such....goodie
