I've been lurking this forum for a couple of days now, and I have something to say:

If you don't know what you're talking about, please shut up. Unless you're a doctor, a competing bodybuilder/powerlifter/olympic lifter/misc, or a personal trainer, refrain from answering questions. You have much to learn. And yes, I fit into one of the aforementioned categories of competitive lifters.

The human body isn't like /b/. You can't pick up on a meme and then just spout it wherever you may. The human body works holistically, and what works for one person may not work for another. It is essential that incorrect advice is eliminated in this forum. I want this board to succeed.

tl;dr -- 95% of you need to lurk more.

Powerlifting actually.

Do you have a competition you're hoping to compete in?

Nice try, but we all know this board is doomed. Just enjoy seeing a pic of a cute fit girl every now and then and laugh at all the bad advice given out. Odds are this will become THE board to troll, at lest before it dies a sad fat death.

Yeah, the best part is that every skinny fuck or fatass posts their own thread like they're some unique circumstance, and that they need some special program different from everyone else.

but 1 have teh hyooooooge 19 inchbicepts, cut l1ke d1am0nds, amirite?

and op, I'd like to say that even though I don't fit into any of the aforementioned categories, I could be a personal trainer if you give me a week. That doesn't mean I know wtf I'm talking about. A shit ton of retards in the doctoral profession or w/e think they know what they're talking about, when they're really just retarded. Case in point: I was told to stop taking creatine cause "all that extra protein is just rattling around in my kidneys doing who knows what kind of damage." and another one telling me to gtfo my JW. you know what pt at the gym, I don't know or care your name, FUCK YOU.

Point is, even if you're not a PT or a doctor, you MIGHT have some good advice if you're a huge nerd and just study this shit for a hobby.

That said, I'm always learning new stuff. That doesn't mean that the basic advice of "eat a lot, spread it out throughout the day, 40/40/20, lift a lot but don't overtrain, etc" is bad advice. Far from it. Basically everything i learn only reinforces that.
