So I have a fitness test coming up in a month for a job and I need to be able to do the "sit and reach" but when ever I place my legs flat on the floor in front of me, my Gastrocnemius and right behind my knees (feels like the ligaments) get really tight. IT becomes real difficult to reach forward. What can I do to relax these muscle and improve my stretching in my legs?
<that
onething I don't understand is those stretchs are suppose to stretch your hamstring (the upper back leg muscle right?) but I feel it all in the lower back of my leg and behind the knee.
>>92666behind the knee is probably because the hamstring tendons run therein the back is probably because your back rounds due to tight hamstrings
>>92680sorry if I was unclear, I don't feel any tension in my BACK, just the back of my knees but thanks for the input
>>92721okthen just read the part about hamstring tendons
