This is me 20 days ago.

Since then I've cut all my calories from 3500+ to below 2000 (between 1200 to 1500), and stopped drinking soda pop. I started doing 30 minutes cardio (exercise bike) three times a week, and doing 100-200 situps a day. Although the outcome isn't very noticeable, I'm proud with myself.

Good job man keep it up, I would suggest working out as well, unless you're comfortable with current muscle mass.

I wish I could do my own routine at the gym, but I can't afford memberships (and the closest gym is a town over :<).

A few years ago, when I was in highschool, I took part in the weight fitness program, where we did circuit routines every other day, and swimming on the remaining days. I didn't see very good results with it.

Even though I worked out every day, and did cardio every day, at the end of it, my body fat percent increased from 11% to 19%, but my weight remained the same (160 lbs). This confused the fuck out of me, and even to this day I don't know how this is possible.

I've seeing results with my in-home exercises, though. Maybe when I can afford a membership, I'd just go for the pool, and maybe treadmills, etc.

You don't need gym equipment necessarily to work out. Use your own body weight. Pushups, squats, lunges, pull ups if you have anything for that. There's plenty of stuff in a normal house hold you can use to work out.

You burned off muscle mass and probably were retaining water, or even possibly gained fat.

Cardio eats muscle.

My one rep max for everything was increased, though. My measurements were also increased.

not if you are complementing your aerobic activity with a weight training program, and you are consuming a sufficient amount of protein

weight isn't really a great barometer of fitness

He just said his bodyfat percentage increased, not his BMI. I don't exactly imagine how that increases eight percent, you stay the same weight, and there wasn't an increase in fat.

It minimizes it, it doesn't completely deter it.

The obvious answer is that you are on anabolic substances.

i mainly say this about weight because althought it seems common sense to weigh yourself with consistency in his case he may have been dehydrated weighing himself one time, etc.
