Dear /fit/,

In the past year and a half, I've dropped 111 pounds, from 325 down to 214, through pure calorie counting. I'm a rather large-framed person, so at 214 all I really have is a bit of a gut remaining, nothing HUGE per se, but I do have the problem of "loose skin" on my upper arms, thighs, and back.

Now, some sources I've read say that this is simply subcutaneous fat and it'll tighten up as I continue to lose fat, which I'm trying to do. I'm also doing some weight training for the sake of rebuilding the muscle I lost while dropping weight. Do you know what sorts of exercises I should be doing to tone up those areas?

DUDE, do you have a Vagina on your neck like fat bastard! ROFL. Anyway you gotta build muscle under it or see a cosmetic surgeon.

How old are you?

Also OP I went through the same thing I went from 316 to 210 in 2 years.

you will need surgery to remove the excessive skin

How much excess skin do you have? If you have an almost ridiculous amount, you can donate it- seriously.
It'll be surgically removed and given to burn victims who need skin grafts.

It depends a lot on your age. The younger you are the more "elasticity" your skin has and the more it'll be able to bounce back. With that big a weight loss, it probably wont take care of all or even most of the loose skin. The next option is to put on muscle mass and fill up some of that skin. Surgery is the final option and shouldn't be taken lightly.

My advice is to treat yourself to the surgery if you can. You deserve it after all that work. Just don't get in any big hurry over it! You don't want to get it whacked off and then lose more weight and be back to "floppy".
