So....I've heard eat more carbs? But in those two weeks, I became suddenly hungry and was eating even more of them than I usually do, so I'm a little confused as to why my metabolism seems to have things so backwards. I usually eat all sorts of horrid things, like fast food and soda and chips, so it's really ironic that I'm so thin. At the same time, it might be partially explainable by the fact that my appetite is finicky and more or less nonexistent for long spaces of time, particularly when I'm going through a depressed spell (I eat hardly at all when I'm feeling down, and I feel down a lot of the time). If I run out the door to work in the afternoon, sometimes I'll forget to eat until 8 PM at night....or later. I usually don't even remember that I haven't eaten until I have sudden onset dizziness and feel like I'm about to pass out, and then I have to stumble to the kitchen for some pop tarts or soup or something. It's really sad.
So, /fit/--I'm not really much one for working out, so focusing on the dieting aspects at least...what can I eat to help me gain weight? And when should I eat it? I feel like a breeze could blow me over right now, which is kind of annoying. Any tips for helping to regulate my food intake?
