Hey /fit/,

Sunday I started my dieting/exercise regimen in earnest.

Its pretty weak as I have not done any sort of strength training in months. So I was doing sets of 15 pushups and 30 situps.

Anywho, I mixed sets of 50 jumping jacks into there, and now my calves are hurting. Is it safe to run 5 miles today or did I mix in the wrong exercise?

I'd take it easy at first and rest your calves. Go hard when you feel you're ready but at first take it easy. Go shoot something instead.
