Hey /fit/. My back hurts from doing squats or rowing or pullups. Not sure which.

Anyway, I've been doing gentle exercise biking and swimming to try and recover. Are there any barbell exercises I can do to work my arms without risking my back?

tl;dr what barbell exercises don't use the back at all?

Assuming you're talking lower back, try doing front squats. Because the weight is in front of you, you can keep your back pretty close to straight up and down, so it puts a lot less stress on it than a back squat.

I meant to say what barbell & dumbbell...not just barbell.
