I've always been a really skinny guy with an awkward frame, but now that I'm starting to fill it out with muscle, I realize that my classic pencil neck is going to start looking out of place if I don't start working it out.

So I ordered IronMind's "Headstrap Fit For Hercules" and it just arrive yesterday afternoon. I loaded my weights onto it and did the exercises as they instructed, took it off, and all I can say is..

I cannot support my right now. This is fucking awesome.

A+, 10/10, would buy again---IF IT WOULD EVER BREAK. The fucker can hold up to 1,500 lbs. I want to meet the guy who's using 1,500 lbs on this; specifically so I can say "Hey. Why are you even doing that jesus christ."

It was uncomfortable at first, because I was confused as to how it was supposed to fit for working different areas (say, the sides, as opposed to the front and back) but's it's actually fairly comfortable once you figure out how it's supposed to work.

I've seen more uncomfortable-looking headstraps, actually.

What exercises can you do with it? And why do you need a huge neck? Do you want to look like this guy?

I have a disproportionate neck because I use my head for everything. It looks normal, but when I tense it, it practically doubles in size and tendons fucking appear EVERYWHERE.

Neck strength is useful if you have a frail neck and you don't want to break your spine up top if you trip, or if you're into physical contact sports where there's a risk of neck injury.
