/fit/ i was good today... i think.

heres a list of everything ive eaten today.
1 large salad with onions, carrots, cauliflower and about 3-4tbsp of Caesar dressing and a very small pinch of shredded cheese.
2 cups of potato soup
2 cups of steamed cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots with 1cal of dressing (salad spritzer..it tasted horrible on steamed veggies)
7 sticks of juicy fruit(didnt EAT it but i know it contains sugar.

after all this a went to the gym and burned 100cal on the seated bike
200cal on the treadmil
and another 200 on the eliptical.

anything i should change about this? can i lose fat with this plan if i do it every day?
i am trying to lose fat. I am 6'3.5 and weigh normally from 207-215 (it fluctuates over days and im sure its the scale because its electric)

The bad news is this is not a diet, it's an eating disorder. The good news is a diet is simple. To lose weight, eat 10x your weight in pounds in cals. If you're 215, you can lose weight by eating 2150 calories per day. Eat your bodyweight in pounds in grams of protein. So 215g of protein per day. The rest is carbs/fat as desired. The exact ratio is up to personal preference/your unique metabolism. I lost my weight by doing this and limiting carbs as much as possible (remember, fiber counts towards your total calories, but not towards total carbs).

Got it? Good luck. I lost >80lbs doing this and working out around 6x per week (twice a day when I was up to it).

you need meat man, lean meats like chicken, basically any lean meat and fish is good too if it isn't fried.

There's thing thing I like to call protein. Maybe you should look into it.

Fiber is not metabolized by the body for energy, therefore it does NOT count towards your daily calorie total.

what meat is good for me? obviously ground beef is a death sentence. grilled chicken? any others?

also what veggies can i eat to make up for protein? i thought there was a veggie out there that did...

also what if i used this as a base and built onto it?

ive heard treat days reccommended.

if i chose to have these once a week my treat will be a BIIIIG cup of tradewinds green tea and a can of progresso italian style wedding soup. i dont get cravings for sweet things....
hey next time i got to the grocery what should i pick up? take in mind i live in a shitty dorm with nothing but a microwave and vegetable steamer.

FISH should be one of your best friends if you want to loose weight. It's full of healthy fats, that thin your blood and help lower LDL(BAD) cholesterol. Also trimmed pork loin is very lean, and tasty if just lightly seasoned and grilled.
As for beef look for 90% lean ground beef or leaner, Flank steak is as lean as chicken breast, tritip(trimmed) is fairly lean, Eye of round is also pretty lean.
If you don have meat in your diet you will most certainly lack b-12, and most likely calcium, zinc, iron, and vitamin D.

how do i do any of that living in a dorm? i can get some microwave buttergarlic salmon (not fried "grilled") and i like the taste even microwaved. will this work?

George Foreman Grill - I'm sure you can find one for cheap on craigslist.com
And a small fridge shouldn't be to hard to find either.
Just do what you can, but remember that the more muscle you have the easier loosing weight will become, and to build some quality lean mass you're gonna have to get some protein.
Chicken breast, thighs, and canned tuna are cheap and full of lean quality protein. Just check out your local market meat section every weekend, and I'm sure you'll find something thats both lean and on sale.
Good luck!

the tuna sounds doable but my faggot ass dorm wont even allow G. foreman grills.....fucking faggots like thayre asking us to eat all our meals from fast food or their diner which the only healthy think there is the salad.... i really hate the niggers at eastern kentucky university.

They wont even allow you to have a hot plate?
Dude........ I'm sorry.

Classic grilled chicken sandwich on whole wheat no mayo, small salad, and an iced tea or diet coke is pretty healthy at McDonalds. But you'd have to be kinda rich to afford that a few times per day everyday.

im pretty sure the school (more than any other) is a cash scam.....they just started charging people a fee as much as it is to live on campus to live off campus....... also for the first year youare forced to buy their meals...FORCED thay make you put money into what we call "flex" dollars that you can only use on campus and ONLY ON FOOD. AND no matter how much you have left (meal plans and flex) at the end of each semester they wipe your account and all your meal blocks are gone......also the drop date on classes is the week after they start so you have no idea what the class is even about yet and then you cant get your money back... i hate it....but at the same time im sure other Univ's are worse so im afraid to transfer...

also they have no max on how many books a teacher can require (i had 6 for one class) and half the books you buy they already have a new edition of on the shelves so you cant sell the REQUIRED one back...

also on sellback day your lucky to get 1/5-1/8 of what you paid for the book..

i remember having a 130 dollar bok they bought back from me for 25 i think..

Go to them gym whenever you have time, not when people aren't going to laugh. If anyone laughs, remember their face and beat them up when you get stronger.

Looks good, except your missing one vital nutrient: Protein.
Include some grilled chicken, tuna, salmon, etc ASAP. Once or twice a day.
