Hello /fit/,

I am a 22 year old 6'4 22lbs, I am in decent shape but I enjoy to smoke and drink. I am in decent shape, but no where near the jaw-dropper I want to be.

I played football and had to get pretty bulky for that, but I found my agility was greatly reduced.

I am looking to join the fire-fighter school next year and I am looking for a endurance building regime that doesn't make me the classic marathon runner.

I have tried palates and loved the lean and mean look, but was hoping there was a more hetro-sexuial method of getting that look.

So, any tips on endurance and the palates without the gayness.

Ashtangi Yoga (power yoga) rules. You can buy a book or video and do it at home. All you need is enough floor space to do push ups. It's kind of what that palates stuff is based on, anyway.

Yeah, I have tried a few types of yoga and offshoots. I recently purchased the Wii Fit and I have to admit, the yoga side of it is something I hate doing, but the results are tough to fight.

It just feels so gay! Kind of like I need to be in a locked basement so no one will ever see.

hey there champ, do you mean Pilates? I am a road bike rider and do Pilates along with traditional gym. I don't worry about anything "being gay" if it get results and you shouldn't either
