best bike Anonymous
Fatass here, thinking of getting a bike and learning to ride. What would be the best bike for a beginner?

Depends on where you're riding, mostly. Whatever you do though, get a hornless bike seat. Your future children will thank you.

the cheapest you can find.

Biking on the street/ sidewalk. Casual stuff, not racing or anything ( lol ).

Would one from a thrift store be acceptable?

Well the best thing to do for getting used to riding a bicycle, especially ones with a mutigear system is to find a nice big empty parking lot and just ride about, get used to the balance of the bike, the type of maneuvers you can make, cycling throung the gears and finding the appropiate ones, practicing gently using the brakes.

By the way how fat are you? Because yes you can be too fat for a bicycle(and the bike can break under too much weight).

With bikes you get what you pay for.

258

Lose some weight by walking or jogging a litle bit first, get down to around 220, then you will have to worry less about your bike breaking or your innertubes exploding, especially over bumps.

You can get a nice road bike for 650 dollars,

At 258 you are going to need wheels with a high spoke count. Either go to a good bike store and see what they recommend in your price range, or just get any old mountain bike with no suspension.

You don't know how to ride a bike?

Nope, have been a combination of fat and poor all of my life.

Always wear a helmet. Your head has a nasty habit of cracking open easily on the pavement. I see so many stupid people riding with no helmet.
