So, /fit/, what is your opinion on walking as exercise? Not necessarily power walking, but just going out for a nice hour long walk.
Always a good exercise.

You have to walk a LOT for any meaningful results. Even an hour of walking is only 300 cals. or so based on your weight.

walking for too long promotes muscle loss. Walk no more than 90 minutes continuously.
