From my research Methoxy 7 is better and (thus far) less risky. Neither exactly have the years of testing I would like though so Im hesitant to go either creatine or methoxy 7.

Intramuscular water gain is the same as gaining muscle mass.
Although some people do get really bloated with creatine
>> Anonymous
Creatine doesnt build mass, its increases your body's production of ATP, which is what your muscles use to convert to energy. You need this energy to expand and contract your muscles. In summation, creatine increases strength.

To all these dumbfucks who think creatine causes you to retain water, GTFO and go back to lifting with your shitty highschool football team. Its not the creatine that causes you to retain water, its the free radicals left in cheap creatine from the production process. As well as all the extra shit companies throw in there to 'supplement' the effects.

I recommend GNC branded creatine powder. Cycle off every two months for 2-4 weeks.

I use creatine and its all water weight that is increased, but it does give you that extra bit of energy to pull out those last few reps.
Thats all.

LOL.. i am using creatine and i am not gaining weight at all but loosing fat and gaining muscle. Have seen no signs of this "water weight" you all seem to experience.
>> Anonymous
yes, you gain a bit of water weight with creatine, the amount more or less determined by genetics. if you write off creatine saying "just water weight" you're fucking retarded. You're not using creatine to get instantly lol hyooge. You're using creatine, because what it does is converts ADP to ATP, renewing your energy sources, and effectively allowing you to lift longer. Which equals more muscular hypertrophy. If someone says "once you stop using creatine, you're just going to lose all the weight you gained, it's all just water weight," punch them in the face, for a number of reasons: 1) they don't know what they're talking about, you're doing them a favor; 2) They're either speaking out their ass and regurgitating what they heard from their freshman baseball coach or something who's fucking retarded, they're going to tell you protein powder is bad for you, or they actually have had experience with a bit of creatine and went on it for a couple weeks, and then stopped, and realized that they lost the weight they had gained, because THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO PUSH THEMSELVES OR EAT PROPERLY.

So yes, you will gain a bit of water weight. That's a given. That's how you know it's working. Plus, water weight is capital g Good. As the intracellular water content increases, the muscles cells are basically tricked into increasing protein synthesis in addition to trying to up the ATP:ADP ratio high. So that's good, too.

However, some people complain about the cost. That's because they're looking at shit like green mag and sizeon and overpriced things. Thing about it is, you get the same effects from just buying the 20$ creatine monohydrate (the straight up white powder). Yeah, the more expensive kinds have a bit of extra crap in them, but it's basically arginine bases and dextrose and shit. You can get the same stuff out of having a gatorade with your creatine mono, IF you really care that much.

If you want to go for some creatine, you might want to load, but you really don't have to. I say do it though (load = 5 scoops/day for the first week, then the normal 2 scoops/day). Good thing about creatine is you don't have to cycle it, btw. Since it's not doing any damage to your body, and there's no reason for it to develop a tolerance, you're good to go for years.

tl;dr creatine is the shit, anyone who says otherwise is an ass.

Id agree with everything youve said except not cycling it. Creatine can be bad for the kidneys, especially if you dont drink a lot of water to flush it out. To be safe i always recommend cycling off of it for 2-4 weeks every 2 months.

"dumbfucks who think creatine causes you to retain water, GTFO and go back to lifting with your shitty highschool football team."
>>373743
um, apparently you don't know that lifting with your high school football team is the best. such people have the best gym etiquette, best form, and best nutritional know-how of all the gym patrons. this of course doesn't apply to everyone. i'm just sayin. i learned a lot of good stuff in high school.
sorry your mom wouldn't let you play football. i know that's an assumption.

best nutritional know how? Mhmm... thats why you always hear shit like "creatine causes you to retain water" FROM said 'athletes'.

Punk ass kids think that just because they lift for 30 minutes 3 times a week they know everything. Sorry to tell you, your shitty minimum wage paid coach doesn't know anything.

Maybe you're an exception to the rule, but thats it. An exception.

but seriously. Met-Rx in the white box.

ok i was gonna start a Met-Rx thread, but instead i'm gonna spill the beans here.
if you go to your local General Nutrition Center (GNC), when you hit the door you'll see all the new junk that comes out all the time marked down to $25
but somewhere obscure you will find 2 or 3 boxes of Met-Rx marked way up $59.95 etc. you might even have to ask for help finding it.
they want you to buy that cheap junk, not the good stuff.
what kind of supplement does the worlds strongest man endorse?
i'd be very interested in hearing any negative thoughts about the product. seeing as how i can't find any faults in it.

I'm on the last days of my 500gr creatine pot..
Results:
Some kgs higher with bench press, but clearly results on my body

If you should start it depends on how long you are training and how serious you are in it..

The problem is that you fags take the creatine, BUT YOU FAIL TO WORKOUT HARDER BECAUSE YOU SUCK AT LIFTING.
