hey /fit/ this is 3 months work. im 165cm/5'4 and 60kg/133lb so a bmi of 22.25. Using some method i got from wikipedia my body fat est is 13.6. how many kg would i need to lose for six pack to show, while burning fat im guessing to just keep up my protein intake so my muscles dont waste away?

might sound like a stupid question to some but i really dont bother much with all the biomechanical metabolism stuff, i just work out and eat how i always have.

You're going to lose a bit of muscle, there's no way around it. Keep ingesting the amount of protein you would to bulk, just taper down on the calories.

In other words, take in 150g or more of protein and drop the calorie intake about 500 below what it is now

If you're a 13% BF, you're abs should be showing more, so I think the estimate you took is off. I'm an offseason athlete at my uni, and I just had to report in for mandatory skin fold measurements. I'm at 15% and my ab muscles are still very visible.

You need to start adding more core exercises, do more HIIT, and diet if you want your 6 pack to be really pronounced.

150g protein sounds like a lot more than im prob getting now hah, guess ill go buy some shake.

yeah i only started doing core exercises in the last few weeks.
i didnt expect the body fat method to be very accurate as it doesnt take height into account, only waist size and weight.
just read about this HIIT you speak of, sounds sweet.
