I have been in doing the same thing as you really. trying to find a martial art that teaches you what to do in situations where you have to defend yourself.

I've taken, TKD, Aikido, Capoeira, Kuan Bup, Karate, and recently I have been taking some Progressive Fighting Classes.

All those do teach you how to fight, but the PFS has taught me the most about potential real life situations.
If I were you I would learn about and see if there are any classes near you.
It shouldn't be hard to find, most people who take PFS seriously eventually have to go out and teach classes as part of there training. I was actually surprised to see how many women come to these classes as well.

Here's the guy who created it at http://www.fighting.net/
Its pretty interesting.

NIGGER?!?!

It's the same shit as any other self defense class. It's not like there are a hundred useful ways to avoid a knife attack. There is one, maybe two ways. Not like a martial art where you have hundreds of stylistic variations on the same technique.

Stop plugging your bullshit and go kick a man in the balls.

Actually thats what they teach you.
FUCKING KICK THEM IN THE BALLS!
