Alright /fit/

I came here in the 29th complaining of nausea and diarrhea and some of you gracefully pointed out it's probably just a stomach virus.

It got worse on the 30th and slowed down on the 31st. I went to the doctor about it on the 4th and got a new game that I couldn't even finish after a week due to the nausea getting to me.

On the 12th, the nausea peaked again with diarrhea.

On the 18th, the nausea peaked yet again only no diarrhea.

On the 19th it again peaked and I went to the doctor to have a blood test. My blood test came back completely normal.

My doctor put me on 2x dosage of the medicine she put me on November 4th, and it was supposed to help in the first day. If I wasn't better by today I'm supposed to call and they're going to stick a fucking camera down my throat.

So given how inaccurate your shouts of "STOMACH VIRUS" were, what do you think it is now?

It's never lupus.

Are you taking any L-carnitine or other fat-binding supplement? If so, stop.

Gastric flu isn't that uncommon and can take months to shift.

It is just possible you have a tumor, so get that endoscope exam asap. If you're lucky it'll only be a lipoma pushing into your digestive tract. If not, it could be a retroperitoneal Liposarcoma or GIST, and you need that thing out of you as fast as possible.

Perhaps it's some sort of stomach polip? All I can say is that you needn't worry about the endoscopy. I've had serious vomiting and nausea for the past 6 months with an endoscopy in the 2nd month out of those 6 and it wasn't half as bad as people made it out to be. Due to the cause of complaint (vomiting/nausea) they couldn't do it while I was awake so it was done with general anesthetic. Perhaps you've already undergone operations where they put you to sleep but it was my first time and I must say it was an interesting experience. No ill effects from the endoscopy afterwards, no sore throat, nothing (aside from the original symptoms obviously).

tl;dr Endoscopies aren't as bad as people make them out to be (unless it's up the rear end like a colonoscopy, in which case good luck).

You were out cold, so I don't think your experience counts. Either way, it's almost been a month and I'm ready to have them stick a camera down my throat just to see if they can help.

I've had something pretty solid about my collar bone area, I mean I can feel it when laying down on the inside and now I can feel it while swallowing. It sort of slows down whatever I've eaten/drank.

Best case is something minimal, worst case is some horrible type of cancerous tumor.

Apparently I was cleared for active cancer by the blood test? Everything came back OK. I'm 18 so at least time is on my side, you could say. I will be calling the doctor's office tomorrow and they'll probably send me right over to the hospital (like a seventy-five foot drive) for the endoscopy.

Is it bad that I'm in enough misery to WANT them to stick a camera down my throat? Shit, that should say something. (Though I'm feeling quite fine right now.)
