Hey, /fit/

I have a goal of losing about 30 pounds, but don't really know where to start.

In my apartment complex there is a treadmill, and a full weight bench, along with dumbbells, those slanted 75 degree sit-up things, etc.

I'm new to all of this, so pointers are appreciated.

Problem areas are:

Thighs, bitch tits, stomach.

Where should I start, what should I do, how long, and how often?

Any help greatly appreciated.

High intensity interval training,

warm up
1 minute on a high intensity(7-10)
1:30 minutes rest on level 3

^
is 1 rep
repeat for 6 reps

Burns less calories than cardio during the exercise but raises your metabolism for a good day afterwards.

That is not HIIT, that is just interval speed training, dumbass. (which is likely better for the OP than HIIT anyway, so no harm done)

If you were truly at your max VO2 effort (as HIIT calls for), you would not make it anywhere near 1 minute.

Theres a training program that calls for max v02?

Ouch.
