Sup /fit/,

I'm in need of some advice for diets/meals. I used to lift and try to body build and all that jazz, but due to being too busy with school and various other things, I don't really have time to go to the gym anymore nor easy access to one. It's been about a year already since I've stopped lifting seriously, and about three months since I've stopped going altogether.

I'm currently ~156lbs @ 5'7", little muscle tone left and a gut due to inactivity from the gym. I've given up on trying to build a good physique, but I still want to be able to look decent in well-fitting clothes. I guess a way to do this without hitting the gym again is to change my diet. Right now, I'm eating "normally", with a meal consisting of meats, carbs, and some vegetables. I'm also not eating that many sweets, and don't drink soda.

So, /fit/, what do you suggest I change in my diet to get rid of my unsightly belly? If I was not specific enough with my diet, perhaps offer me a link for a good type of meals to cut down on fat over a period of time? I'm not in a big rush to get rid of it, but losing ~10-15lbs within the next several months would be nice.

how busy can you be to spend a few hours a week lifting some weights? it's not all about diet, although that certainly will help, but if you're not in any sports or your job doesn't require you to do a lot of physical labor you should be doing some strenuous physical activities at least semi-regularly. human bodies were meant for it.

If you just want to lose some weight do this:
Calculate your daily calory needs (internetz) and stay 500 calories below that each day.
Some exercise will help sinc you burn more cals, but it's not a must.
you'll slowly lose weight.

As stated in the OP post, I've moved and the gym is now pretty far away. I don't want to walk 40 minutes to the gym and 40 minutes back from it a few times per week, since I can't afford to spend take that much time away from studies, since my grades are really fucking low.
