Hey /fit/!I'm finally glad they added this board... anyway, I have a question regarding weight loss. I've been losing weight steadily over the past few months (about 45 pounds total, approx. 10 pounds per month). It's working great imo, but I'm having a trouble spot- my stomach. Everything else on my body has been deflating at the same rate except for my stomach. There is a definite decrease in its size, but not nearly as much as the rest of my body (face, legs, arms, etc). Is there anything I can do to help this? I have heard that building more muscle in the trouble spot will help it faster, for example working on your biceps/triceps will get rid of fat on your arms if that's your trouble spot. Should I be doing more situps? I do about 30 per day along with the rest of my exercise routine.PS- Just in case you need to know, I started off at about 264 pounds, now I'm at 219ish.
>>11793So pretty much it just takes time for certain spots to lose fat?
>>11783Spot.Treatment.Doesn't.Exist.
Abdomen is one of the last places that fat is stored when lowering body fat %. Just keep working at it with cardio and healthy eating.
I'll do my best to keep at it, thanks guys.
>>11798yup. As I have been told, you first lose the fat stores that are the newest...the oldest, last.
