Tea Anonymous
I'm trying to quit soda, but I can't stand JUST water.

Right now the best stand in is unsweetened iced tea, probably has something to do witht he caffeine addiction I've cultivated.

I cannot stand sweet tea. Mostly I just have plain old Lipton, every once in a while some lemon, and on the odd day some green tea or weird spiced somethign or other.

Does tea have some horrible health side effect I'm not aware of? It has to be better for me than soda, but it probably isn't better for me than water?

GAH, fucking soda, I hate it so much..... ahte it and love it.

Fuck, I still remember the days in which I ate junk food, and had too little sleep before a whole day of kickboxing before me.

It was like being drunk with pain.

Flavored seltzer water is like very watered down soda. Try that. Then maybe just seltzer. Then plain old water. Then cry your fatass to sleep because you had to ween your system onto WATER.

We water it down with massive amounts of alcohol.

it is difficult if you're really used to soda, etc.
You could try half&half and slowly diluting the tea to water.
I can't really remember how i did it (its kind of an ongoing struggle mostly), but a lot of times its sucking it up and dealing with it.
Or putting a bit of lemon in the water.

get some Gatorade power and mix it in to make drinks.

How is gatorade a better option than tea? There's like 50 calories per serving of gatorade- and they measure a serving as basically a shot- to tea's 0
