i love gym jones site and i frequent the crossfit site...ive heard a lil bit about IF but not read about it to really know how to implement it. have you tried it? i havent been physically active for the past 5 or 6 months now...you think it'd be fine for me to go ahead and jump into it in a couple weeks?
i've never done IF, as I found my home with paleo diet (50-60% fat, 25% protein, 15% carbs @ 2000-2400 calories) and it's been amazing so I'm not switching anything.But I guess it wouldn't hurt to dive right into it, I know I probably couldn't do it as I'm hungry quite often usually within 3-5 hours after last meal.
whats your body fat percentage? and do you use a fat supplement, i mean like those containers of flax seeds n what not. i can't imagine how i could do IF, i've got my classes usually 10am to 3pm...unless i can break my fast as soon as a wake up and do my work out before leaving for classes and eating in between...
i can't say with any definite answer, but i estimate around 8-10%
i don't use any fat supplement, all my fats come from nuts, meats, butter, yogurt, cheese (soon to cut that out), fish, and oils (coconut, olive, and canola)
