Hi /fit/.

I have a problem with fast-food, but not like you think. The problem is I can't find enough food for cheap. I only weigh 135 pounds although I typically eat like a fatass, probably because I run a few miles everyday and have a fast teenager metabolism. Anyway, I was just wondering what you recommend for guys trying to bulk up without spending 10 bucks buying two meals. The cheapest option I've been able to find so far is to go to Taco Bell and buy 6 tacos for 5-6 bucks, or go to McDonalds and buy 4 or 5 double cheeseburgers off of their $1 menu. I know that's not the healthiest type of food to get, but the only thing that is a genuine concern for me is the sodium.

So /fit/izens, where should I go get lunch for less than 8 bucks that is filling?

If you're anything like me, super skinny that can't gain weight nomatter how much I eat..

- Then start to train, use heavy weights and eat like a mofo. Problem is, yea, it's expensive. Ideally you'll want a high protein diet consisting of quality protein such as chicken, eggs and whey protein (found in protein shakes usually). Fastfood generally don't give you this, it's also quite expensive where I'm from.

I'm eating this every day...

Porridge 'n eggs (boiled/cooked/raw/whatever)
protein shake
chicken filets with eggs
protein shake
normal dinner, usually something with pasta.
Evening snack, normal sandwich etc
2 raw eggs which i pour down with yoghurt before I go to bed.

Both egg and chicken filets are relatively cheap where I'm at so they make out the major part of my calorie intake.

Chipotle is a weight gainers friend. Don't rely on it all the time, but if you need 2000 Cal in a meal it's great.

Op here back from lunch

I got a plate full of chicken fried rice, 3 crab rangoon, and a plate full of sweet and sour chicken, and a drink (I picked green tea with a splash of some Hi-C for the calcium bonus and better flavor) for 7.98.

If money is a concern why the fuck are you eating fast food? Oatmeal, whey powder and natural peanut butter are all cheap as hell. I mean it's fucking 2 dollars for a tub of oats and 3 dollars for a jar of peanut butter. That's the cost of one goddamn fast food meal. Bags of whey are a bit more but you can get a huge bag at Costco or Sams club for cheap. Put those three things in a blender and drink that bitch up.
