What are the muscles located on at the hips that sometimes show a seperation between the lower and upper body? If you have these defined how did you do it what advice to you have? Can anyone achieve this look with proper exercises? What are the exercises called and the reps needed? Do you need weights or a machine? Please give adivce pic related.

those are mine, and I've never been concerned with them. I dont work out much too. I just play sports from time to time, and overall I'm pretty active, but thats it. I guess genetics have much to say in that matter

I've got these and I've got a pretty lofty bf% compared to the cut mag guys.

I think its probably because my obliques get hit pretty good during my lifting.

Although, I do have a pretty classic adnois phsyique naturally, my stomach is indentical to the statue when I cut down.

Side planks seem to work them, but I haven't been doing them for long enough to know if they actually change appearance of them. Worth a try tho.

Hey OP I never had those cuz I was a bit chubby but I started eating only healthy foods, running an hour 4 times a week and i do Ab Ripper X (p90x) 4 days a week.. one day off one day on pretty much.. and you see that on me now.
