What does /fit/ think of enriched white bread? Is it a bunch of bullshit?

Otherwise, what kind of nutritious bread does /fit/ recommend? I don't like plain Jane whole wheat bread.

It's just white bread with grains sprinkled on, not good for you.

Whole wheat or bust. White bread has a high glycemix index, no nutrients, no good carbs, not much fiber.. etc.

There has to be something better than just regular whole wheat. What about multi-grain breads? I'd like to try something with a hint of sweetness. I always found regular whole wheat bread a tiny bit bitter.

What about local bakeries that are making their own bread? Any specific type /fit/ can recommend?

Multi grain and seeded breads are usually made with whole flour, not wholemeal

Stick to wholemeal bread

Ezikel bread. Check the frozen food section.

Hey /fit/, not OP, but I have a question. I recently got this bread from Whole Foods called Bran for Life. The company that makes it, Food for Life, makes this other bread that I believe it's more known for, Ezekiel 3:9. But anyway, This is a good step up from what I normally eat, since I've been eating that Nature's Own 40 calorie bread for months now... Here is the info of the bread:

Ah! You are familiar with the brand. Is the one I got good? It has the same amount of calories as the Ezekiel stuff, but with a 2g of more fiber a slice. Also, how do you eat frozen bread? I just left it out over night...
