Help me out PLEASE! Anonymous

I need some help. I've been on a steady program for about 7 months and 2 weeks ago I had some major life changes. I also inherited a weight machine (fairly recent, great quality) and a super-techy treadmill (has an lcd screen/internet access to download workouts, videos, etc).

I am really not sure how to be MOST affective with my time. everyone says 'HIIT', but I'm really not sure how to tailor it to me. I am 5'11", 170 lbs, and i'm looking to lose 15 to 20 lbs + bulk up w/ muscle a bit.

I think i just need a bit of guidance, because every time i ask, the only answer i get is "hiit and free weights". Also, I have ABSOLUTELY NO ACCESS to free weights =[
