high intensity interval training.
Basically any activity at 90% of maximum for x seconds, and a lower intensity for y seconds. usually y is less than twice x.
SO, sprint for 15 seconds, walk/jog for under 30, go back to sprinting for 15, etc. Works on any activity you can reach a high intensity doing.
You begin your routine with a 4 minute day, and slowly work your way up to 15'ish minutes. Only do it at most every other day; your body needs to recover from the high intensity.
