Also, you have to consider that if you're really hueg, your BMR could well be like 5000 or 6000. Considering that it's actually really hard to eat 4000 calories, the slightest dietary cutback might mean you'd be eating way way way below your maintenance, which means rapid weight loss. As you lose weight, your BMR drops, and you settle into a nice 1000 calorie deficit.
