I've been running for a year now, uphill incline outdoors. All of a sudden this week my left glute started to hurt. I know when I run that I focus on form, but I do tend to shift the work to different parts of my body when I'm running, my calves, my thighs, my glutes recently... I only do this when I start noticing some joint pain, like in my knees or ankles (nothing major but just starting to hurt a little).I rest enough during the week to recover, 2 days at times, and the pain goes away but whenever I'm running again, my glute starts to hurt (only at the beginning of the run, the first 10-15 minutes.Is this going to develop into a longterm problem? I don't want to go to my doctor and tell him I'm there because one of my buttcheeks hurts... and I don't want to stop running.Anyone experience anything like this?
