So /fit/. Generic pear-shaped girl here.

In the past 6 months I've gone from 85kg to 75kg and my waistline has gone from 91 centimetres to 84. (This is just from changing my diet- it's given me the motivation to start exercising again.)

However, I have noticed that my massive hips haven't lost a single millimetre. They remain a ghastly 116.8cm, EXACTLY the same as they were before I lost the 10 kg. I know I still have a lot of weight to lose but shouldn't I have lost a bit from my hips if I'm losing centimetres on every other part of my body?

do you have a lot of fat there? if so then, no you don't have to lose weight from them right away, your body takes it from where it will, just because somewhere is the first place your body stores fat doesn't mean it will be the first place it comes off

no training whatsoever leads to fat losses in a specific area. No matter how you train, the whole body looses fat, and the regions that put on fat fastest will loose fast the slowest. It's bad, but there is no way around it. Just do some regular long interval training so that your body gets more used to fat burning.

We're pretty much never going to believe an OP is a girl without pics, and rightfully so. There's so many gender-bending pathetic weirdos on 4chan.

I lol'd!

It's just your body type. You're an endomorphic female. Endomorphs always have wide hips, and being a woman more so because nature intended you to give birth.

Don't fret, though. As long as your body fat is low, wide hips look great. Men love curvy hips, as long as a girl has some boobs and isn't fat.
