Hello /fit/

I come here asking for help. I'm a total newfag when it comes to /fit/ness.
I'm quite a skinny guy. About 5'8", 120ish lbs. I don't mind being a skinny kid, but I just wanted a few tips or little work out things I could do to bulk up a bit. Crunches, push ups, a shit like that. Just to get a little muscle and have it be toned. Enough were it's noticeable. I'm not trying to look like a body builder or anything.

I've been trying to gain weight but it's quite hard. I have one of the fastest metabolisms ever, by the way.

Any and all tips are greatly appreciated. :D

Also...
My body is already a bit toned. I played ice hockey for almost 9 years. You can definitely see ab.

Unfortunately there are no weight sets that I can access right now.

to look huge will take years of dedication.

follow this advice>>176271

basically; eat as much as you possibly can consume in a day, drink a fuckload of milk as it has lot of calories, lift heavy and sleep well. if you follow this you'll have reached your goals in around 6 months. but you'll want to keep training to maintain your gains, if not to improve them. endorphines are addictive.

I've failed at something I'm trying not to accomplish? Yeah that makes sense you dumb fucks.
To much muscle, not enough intelligence. ?

The point they're trying to make is that you do not have "one of the fastest metabolism ever" and that it takes YEARS of hard work and dedication to even hope of getting huge and looking like a bodybuilder.

It gets very annoying when we hear people say
>I'm not trying to look like a body builder or anything.

Because it's a flat out ignorant statement.

yeah good job, that makes no sense

So your inteligence comes from the fact that you are skinny little piece of shit ?

Sorry but I don't follow that logic.

intelligence* Lr2Spell, first of all. And it comes from proving you wrong I suppose. Ironic?
>>176703
Well, excuse me then. I'm not looking for an intense workout to gain huge muscles, like most of the people on here. Just one that I can build a little muscle.

But the thing is, I do have an extremely fast metabolism. Even my doctor has told me that.

every little tiny bitch says they have a fast metabolism, i use dot weigh 120lbs, i ate my way out of it.

why the fuck wouldn't you use a program thats designed to build tons of muscle, and reach your goal 5x faster than if you just dicked around on machines and "toned"

Well the only way to gain weight is to eat more.

I'm 130 lbs 5'7" right now. idealy i'd be 140-150

But I do not want to dedicate the time to eat a large meal every 2 hours and spend my income all on steak and food.

I need 3000-3500 calories a day, counting shakes, to stay at 130 lbs. 100 lbs naturally if I don't work out and eat 1500 (from normal hunger) I don't want to make eating a job. Maybe if i played a sport where I needed to be bigger, or was vain, but I don't gain anything from getting bigger that i'd use.

Can do my work in construction fine, never had issues lifting anything. Don't compete.

Forcing down 5000 calories a day for a little bulk isnt worth the exchange in my mind. Im fine with working out to stay in shape and maintaining 130 lbs right now.

You're skinnyfat. I was lucky, and all the tiny ammount of weight I had on me was muscle. Not saying much though.
