Chin up bar. You can get one from a "big5" type place for $10 on the right day. The cool shit is that this type of thing is "LULZ old" by faggots and their fancy schmancy gym memberships. so laugh at them. If you seriously google "chin up bar doorway" you should get enough hits and whatnot. Watch out for shipping costs. Big5, walmart, etc. You will find one.
Your push up sets are to high and too many.
Think about gravity, and like I said, you can make them a whole lot harder and "heavier" with different angles.
Shoot for 8-12 reps max, 5 sets max. Better if you can get reps down to 6-8, but that might be a fuckhuge backpack.
Same for your chins.
Not sure if you can do chins at the moment, but just remember to put the bar in a conspicuous area so you are temptred to do them frequently, don't go to failure, and eat and sleep like your life depends on it.
Chicken is a pretty cheap source of protein in America, but wheatabix sounds like you are an aussie? Not sure what the going rate is. How about eggs? jack up your eggs, they should be relatively cheap.
