Currently I run 3 times a week for 40 mins doing last man up (8 people jogging a track at pacer's speed, last person sprints to the front and shouts "Last man up!" etc.) and interval sprints.. we do that mon wed fri, on tues thursday sat I do random machines in the gym 2 sets of 15 on each machine in a room

This isn't changing me how I want it to... So what should I do?

Don't you just love when /fa/gs come into /fit/ with their toning and fear of SQUATZ?

No seriously, Why is it a bad thing to have a goal?

If I said my goal was to be 180 lbs and bench 260+ you probably wouldn't say shit...

I think people have this idea that they will lift weights for a week and suddenly have muscle like ronnie coleman, with all of their old fat sitting on top of it. It takes forever to get bulk. Heavy lifting will speed your metabolism, tone you up, and help every aspect of your physique. It gives you results that you can see, and that will motivate you to keep at it.

This.

And it's not like one you start lifting you will gain mass uncontrollably. One day you might wake up and say "this is enough, I'm at my goal" and you can back off the training. But until you realize that, fuck you. Enjoy your useless cardio and skinnyfatness. At least you can weak skinny jeans!

Fucking Christ. WORK ON YOUR UPPER BODY. Doesn't matter what you do, just do something... it looks horrible right now. Push ups, military press, bench, flys, whatever. DO THEM. You're legs look alright, but you need to catch your upper body up.
