So /fit/

I presume most of you have heard of these "Detox" diets. They mainly consist of light exercise, multivitamins plus your daily caloric intake comes from a fluid mixture of Honey, lemon juice, water, and cayenne pepper.

I've been thinking (hell, more than thinking, i've already got the ingrediants) of trying it for a short span (7 days). What is your opinion of this? Does it work, is it a scam, etc.

I know various people who have done it; one said she dropped 10 lbs in 2 weeks (which to me sounds unhealthy), and another guy who did it for 2 months to various results. They all ranted and raved, but I'd like to get /fit/'s opinion of this matter.

Thanks

That kind of a diet lacks fibre. Detoxing diets are a crock of shit - liquid shit, which is what this diet will do to your guts.

Ah thanks.

Yea I had my doubts about it, but for some stupid reason I bought the stuff for it anyways. Ah well, I can make some carne asada with the cayenne and lemon juice.
