Okay, so I didn't eat all day, save for two powerades and a bar of chocolate before doing circuits tonight for rowing.

I was on the verge of throwing up towards the end. I feel brilliant and a bit achey, but that's all good, however I need to get the timing on meals and stuff sorted out so that I won't really be on the verge of blowing chunks, but still have the energy ready for me to burn. I always seem to eat too late or not at all.

So what's the ideal time of eating before exercise, and what's the best thing to do during exercise when you feel like ass and dying.

Also, I train for rowing 4times a week as a novice, how the fuck am I meant to fit in normal gym sessions without overworking my muscles?

The best way to stretch out hamstrings would be great too, mine are quite tight atm, no matter how much I stretch.

Pic kinda related, it's what I expected rowing to be like.

Yeah, and I know it was stupid of me not to eat all day, especially before training, but 9-5 lectures and I really wasn't all there this morning after a bad night of sleep.

And I decided to have a quick session in the gym during my lunch hour to try and wake me up. It didn't help.

WTF are you doing eating sugar and chocolate for your entire caloric consumption for the day, then you go rowing. no wonder you want to vomit.

Yeah, I know that.

Like I said, a bit of a dozy day for me, I cocked up so many times in labs too, but that's a different story.

Newcastle University, so the standard is quite high. Even for a normal rowing crew.

I woke up late, had to get to lectures, went to the gym during my lunch hour because I felt tired and hoped it'd wake me up. Ended up staying quite late because I had to finish an assignment which I thought I'd finished.
