Sickness, /fit/. It's a fucking pain in the ass. I got sick twice in a row, so I missed about 3 weeks workouts AND I couldn't eat much for a large part of this time.I lost 20 fucking pounds... oh well, at least my body fat dropped down another percent to 5.5.How long does /fit/ think it will take to rebuild this damn muscle? Surely not as long as it would to naturally put on 20 lb, because that would make me rage.
you gain back muscle mass faster that was previously there. you'll still need to work for it, but not as long as it took to put it on.
Don't over do it. Warm up and cool down.Eat clean and regularly.Keep your flexibility up as your muscle tissue will regrow faster if it is flexible and has access to blood and nutrients.
tell me about it, I've been able to do my lifts but I haven't been able to bring myself to do any cardio, I just look at the stair stepper and get tired.
