OP what you're doing is endurance training. You're not going to lose weight quickly by going this route.
If your xbaux hueg, then what you need is a good mix of cardio and weight training, but not too much.
What everyone is saying here is that too much cardio and too much weight training will just end up catabolizing your muscles. Catabolizing happens when your body runs out of its stores of energy and begins to draw on muscle tissue, eating it up literally to provide you with energy.
Catabolization occurs roughly after the 45 minute mark of any strenuous activity, be it cardio or weight-training.
DON"T GO OVER 45 MINUTES!
You're defeating yourself. Whats going on is that even though your endurance is going up, you're eating away any muscle that could have been gained. Your metabolism goes down, and you end up at a weight-plateau. 0 progress.
You need to grow muscle to lose that weight. You're doinitrite, just too much at one time. Tone it down, let your body rest and recover (growth hormones are released when we sleep). I bought Ahnold's bodybuilding for men, and even he emphasises not to make the training sessions more than 45 minutes.
