Hi /fit/First post here. Id' like some advice on my diet.Basically I eat a lot of carbs - a lot. Most of my diet consists of vegetables, brown pasta, brown rice, bread etc. I also eat a lot of beans etc.Thing is, my diet is low sugar so I don't put on much weight at all. I'm about 145 pounds and 5'8". I can eat mountains of rice and pasta and it doesn't change my weight. I also don't eat a lot of fatty stuff and only have cheese occasionally. Is this OK to do? Will that much carbs have an adverse effect long-term?
yes it's called Hyperinsulinemiapretty much the cause of cardiovascular diseases, cancers, diabetes, insulin resistance, and whatever else you can think of that's bad for you (Alzheimer's, autistic kids, etc)
Any more serious replies?
Actually OP, you seem to have a better diet than most fatties posting here. Are you a runner, or do you eat all the carbs just because? A low sugar diet is a good thing, but you may want to up the protein and fat to put on weight.
>>461846No, I don't do any exercise and am happy with how I look mostly. Just wondered if there was a thing as too much carbs.
