Question for you /fit/,

When doing sit-ups or any other sort of stomach exercise, does anyone's lower back start hurting like hell after doing a few reps? I'm positive I'm doing these exercises correctly yet I still get pain in that area for some reason. Any ideas?

Your lower back muscles are weak. As they get stronger, the pain will stop happening. Alternatively, you could have some kind of legitimate spine problem, but that's highly unlikely. If it really bothers you, like way beyond normal muscle aching, see a doctor.
