DANDRUFF Anonymous
I've been using T/gel from Neutrogena, Head and Shoulders, T/Sal, and I've been washing my hair about every other day, but the dandruff JUST KEEPS COMING. It's itchy, annoying, and just rains down in little white peices every time I reach up and scratch my scalp. My hair is naturally shitty from genetics, but doing this isn't making it any better.

tl;dr: help me get rid of this annoying dandruff.

don't use any shampoo but head and shoulders for a couple of weeks.

Will work fo sho. Maybe wash your hair every day for a while too.

Worked for me, don't haven't had a problem with dandruff for years, except when I'm out of H/S for more than 2 weeks at a time.

Stop killing your scalp. Give yourself a few days off. Wash only with water for a week or so. Intoduce some very mild shampoos. The milder the better.

I used to have dandruff all the time as a kid, now I don't.

Now my skin seems to flake everywhere else.

What's a dude to do.

Did you try Head and Shoulders intensive treatment? The one with selenium sulfide? (blue one.) Works fine for me, but if I stop it comes back. Even if it's just for a few days.

Try solid shampoo from Lush.com ...

This is the bar I use bi-weekly for dandruff...

SOAK and FLOAT - Eliminates dandruff with a unique campfire recipe
Tried everything to soothe your dry, itchy scalp? Soak and Float's unique campfire smell (caused by the presence of cade, an essential oil that comes from a tree in the juniper family)

and what I use regularly...
SQUEEKY GREEN - Refreshingly herbal for squeaky clean hair
Virtuous without being boring, Squeaky Green is a fantastic shampoo for hair and scalp, even helping to reduce dandruff. Nutritious nettle, restorative rosemary, purifying tea tree and stimulating peppermint pack its little green body with riches for your head.

STOP CHANGING SHAMPOOS

This is the major thing you can do to stop the dandruff, use H&S or T Gel and just keep using it, IT WILL WORK!

Swapping between washes does not help.

Nope, they have some solid shampoo that smells like patchooli but I stay clear of that shit.
