I'm supposed to go for a run today, only 2 miles but I've got a cold, it's about 3°C outside and my run on monday is what brought my then-nearly-over cold back even worse.Any alternatives? I'm not signed up to a gym at the moment, so treadmills etc are out.Pic related, part of the route I sometimes take.
>>420437that is one fucked up bridge
>>420440obviously a lift foot bridge for ship traffic.OP could try jump rope, or burpees.... OK do 20 minutes of jump rope and then 100 burpees at your own pace and check back to let us know how you faired. I just did 30 minutes of stationary bike with arms and feel much better. yesterday was a leg day so I am pretty beat up.
Does exercise actually do anything to your immune system?
Try tabata intervals, doing burpees.
>>420452l2type faster
>>420448>>420452Sounds good, though I lack any kind of skipping rope and have no desire to take out the lights in my room, but burpees and star jumps sound good.
>>420460funny you would say that about jumping rope. I was thinking the same the other day since I can not really do it outside anymore (high winds and very very low temps). but you will notice the rope does not go that high over your head. sure it is a mental thing for a while but doable. even in the basement with ceilings I can touch with the palms of my hand while on flat foot and can jump rope just fine.hope you enjoyed whatever you decided to do, star jumps and burpees.
>>420505Not done it yet, I prefer doing my exercise later in the afternoon. Old habits from school I guess.Just found a scarf, tempted to warm up inside with star jumps, wrap up and brave the cold.
