I keep seeing ads saying that yogurt helps digestion and that I should buy some expensive brand with fancy ingredients and eat it every day. I do have minor digestion issues, so I wonder if it's true or total bullshit? Worth a shot? My problem isn't really lack of fiber, it's more of just certain foods turning to diarrhea, usually when under stress.
And why can't cheap regular yogurt work? And do I really need to eat it everyday?

What should I look for? All yogurt contains bacteria of some sort.
I particularly like Greek yogurt, no idea if it's effective though.

protip: all real yogurt contains live bacteria that helps your digestion, called probiotics. Watch out for flavored yogurt as many contain lots of sugar or fake sugar.

Thanks! So I can just buy any damn yogurt I like then. Good.
You'd have to fucking love self-deprecation to eat plain, unflavored yogurt because it tastes awful. I mostly just stick to vanilla and mix in some granola. I don't eat more than 4 ounces a day anyway.
The real question is if this will actually help at all, or if it's just a scam.
