Ok /fit/,
I am 18, a freshman in college, and I could use your help. I have been playing hockey, baseball (catcher), and swimming for most of my life up to now.
My diet hasn't changed in college unfortunatly, and I am looking for an exercise/diet plan that isn't rediculus but could help me get some upper body strength in, and lose some general fat all around that i've build up over the last year.
As it is now, I never exercise, really busy between academics and clubs. Is there anything i can follow to help me casually /fit/'n up?

Pic related, its me, about 5'10 and 160-165 lbs.

Also I don't believe that you're so fucking busy you can't find 4-5 hours out the entire fucking week to work out you lazy fuck. enjoy being average and lonely your whole life.

I highly doubt youve been swimming that long, if you have, then your not doing something right. Unless by swimming you mean go every month? Change that, go at least 3 times a week, swimming lengths. At first i would just go with 10 lengths then rest a few minutes then go again. DO that as long as you please. Then once you feel like you can do it, swim 5 lengths as fast as you can freestyle, then breaststroke 2 lengths and rest. Alternated breaststroke with butterfly is you want. Doing the dolphin thing for a bit of fun. Swimming, helps build muscles effectively, and helps get rid of fat, I found it help me more than doing HIIT and weights tbh. Then the other three days you can go cycling. On spare day, just rest. Thats probably poor advice, but hey, it worked for me

also diet change. Protein, carbs, fibres. Steak, chicken, nuts fruit veg water. And if you are really going for upper body stength then follow the swimming thing i wrote

Swimming isn't a bad idea but to gain a lot of muscle mass you need to lift weights, because as far as swimming goes you'll plateau in your muscle gain pretty quickly. It is extremely efficient at reducing your BFI (body fat index), however.

WHY THE FUCK DON'T PEOPLE POST PICS IN THEIR FUCKING UNDERWEAR? JESUS FUCKING CHRIST THERE IS NO GODDAMNED REASON TO POST YOUR DICK ON THE INTERNET. I SWEAR TO GOD IF I WAS AMERICAN I WOULD CHECK WHO'S DUDE THAT ROOM WAS AND FUCKING RUIN YOUR LIFE SHITFUCK COCKS

Anyway, op, if you won't excersise you won't look good.

That is just sad.

True, but it can save a lot of time as a lot of muscles are constantly being used, look at Michael Phelps, the mans a monster. But yea, i agree weights really do help if you know what exercises do what part of the body

you are obviously an idiot and didnt understand the question, i have motivation i do WANT to work out, but i didnt know where to start, i dont have 3 hours a day to dedicate to workouts, i can do an hour a day easy, and more on weekends, i am not intending to be lazy >_>

>>453914
Ahh, and I'm glad i could be of some help, I'd also like to add that you should do weights also as it can actually make a big difference, Gym then swimming straight after was what I used to do, could give that a try

>>453930
well i found my old swimming instructor from highschool's email, im gonna see if she'll make me a regimen
>> Anonymous
>>453919

>> Anonymous

That would be best, she'd know more about fitness swimming than me, my instructor taught me jack. Still managed to be one of the best in my team however =/

Honestly I see nothing wrong with my posture, i think the picture is a bit misleading. Considering my mother is a chiropractor i cant imagine her not noticing something like that
