in order to properly asses whether there is progress or regress, you should always, ALWAYS try to simulate the conditions in which you took your "before" picture as closely as you can to your "after" picture.

with the pics you posted it's really hard to tell whether any change occured because the lighting between the photos are so drastic, and lighting is EVERYTHING with body photos.

that or you could GTFO.

I started with a clean bulk, and ended up losing a lot of BF from it as well. (DEC-APR). I worked to maintain, or even cut a little more for summer, but lately I have been eating horrible and not lifting since summer started, and I'm worried that it's affected how I look.

What does /fit/ think of my progress from Dec-Jun?

Could you post your height and weight at 12/07, then weight each of the subsequent months? Did you lift hard to gain muscle, or focus mostly on cutting those six months? Also, any cardio and how was your diet?

Overall, good job. Could use a little arm and chest work. Can't tell as far as the legs and back. Don't worry about the weight, you could probably gain five lbs. and get stronger much more easily.

thats tricky buddy. you look good- how much can you eat? if you cant eat that much then do less cardio, if you can just shovel food down like its nobodies business 2 days a week say doing something like 5km runs and some dynamic stuff like a circuit with light weights and bodyweight exercises wouldn't hurt.

But remember, you will only turn into a useless pile of flab if you don't lift heavy and 3 or more times a week. If you stick to a solid routine, and can eat a shitload cardio is fine in moderation.

You are trying to just build, then strip away the fat later.

Wow, from that first picture it looks like you have a body shape almost exactly the same as mine. It looks like you have a bit of a lead on me, especially in the legs judging by that Jun 08 picture, although if you ask me you look better at December 07 when you had a bit of fat on you, if youve gone down in BF theny ou probably arent eating enough, i have the same problem really, i just cant manage to eat all the food im 'supposed' to.
