You can get protein all over the damn place. If it is/was alive, it contains protein. What you actually want to ask is, what vegetarian foods are protein-dense and provide a good amino acid profile.

OP listed the primary sources of protein for veggies. Also viable are most cereal grains, especially in high-protein varieties, as well as pulses.

To obtain a complete amino acid complement, veggies need to consume protein from a range of sources - no one plant is a complete amino acid source. The common mixture of rice and pulses is a good example. It is advisable to avoid relying on corn (maize) and legumes for the bulk of your protein, without regular supplementation from another source, as both are deficient in tryptophan.

Depends on how strict your vegetarianism is, but since you mention dairy products, how about cow milk (8 grams/cup) soy milk (6.7g/cup), yoghurt (5g/100g), eggs (6.5g each). You can also switch to higher protein grain bread such as soy and linseed or a multi-grain. Also, with the exception of whey protein, most protein supplements are produced by bacteria rather than animal sources.
