1 Year prep for the legion Anonymous
Hello /fit/ I have one year time to finish my landscaping/gardening education, after that i'm joining the French foreign legion.

I was hoping /fit/ could help me out getting into moderate physical condition, to best whatever training(or afghanistan) is gonna throw at me. I have acces to a Gym, and a curved bench with one 8 kilo dumbell at home.

I hope you can suggest me anything that focusses primarly on building endurance, strength, toughness and balance.
I'm 1,95M 66Kilos I'm skinny always have been, but somewhat muscular and tall, strength is above-avarage.

dragondoor.com

crossfit.com

the former are kool aid drinking kettle kweers

the later are also kool aid drinking fags, but have more generalized endurance.

both are utilized by 'operators' as they stress muscular strength endurance, especially by means of body weight.

do that and run a shit load.

In the legion there's one thing you'll do over and over and over again and that's march.
So, how to prepare? Get a rucksack, fill it with 20kg weights, put on some military boots and go walking for 10 km, 15 km, 20 km,...
The final test is the Marche Kepi Blanc, at least 50 km with full gear.
If you are really serious, forget weights, just march.
