Most salads you buy out from a restuarant or fast food joint have added sugar, too much shit in them, and too much dressing.
A responsible, home made salad is fine. But remember, even corn, beans, green peppers, olives, and onions have calories. So if you have some huge ass monster fucking salad topped with tuna, you could be eating like 800 calories, which defeats the purpose of 'just having a salad.'
Eat lettuce with a few veggies, tuna or chicken, and very light, if any, dressing. Hot sauce and black pepper make a fine addition.
