What's up /fit/,

I'm looking to tone up, I have a gym membership but hardly ever go... basically I've been possibley 4 times in the past 3 months.
This is down to my lack of motivation.

I'm 5'6/7 in height and around 12.5/13.0 stone (about 175 lbs).

Can't say I get much excersize at all, but my body hasnt really changed in months, pretty much just stays the same.
I don't over eat - cereal in mornings, soup/bread/small sausage roll for lunch and variety of meals at tea but nothing crazy calorie wise.
But I'm a big drinker, I love my lager - I visit the pub once during the week and no doubt about it friday/saturday will involve beer - I don't really want to change this as I enjoy it.

Basically I think what I'm after is something to start me off that will set me on the path for starting the gym properly - few times a week.

Any suggestions?

Forgot to mention - my moobs and beer belly are the main cause of concern.
I wouldnt say I'm FAT, but damn they need to go.

go to the gym with a friend or go to the gym and make friends to go with. Meeting people there will actually make you go. Works for me

Yeah that's the thing, I've a good friend in the same situation as me but worse, he's a no go.
Other friends I know who hit the gym are big time and I couldnt keep up and would just look like a complete tard.
Also with meeting people there, the gym isnt in the nicest of areas and I dont think people would get along with my 'kind'.

Tom Cruise is 5'7'' and about the same weight OP. He's classified overweight by BMI, but he's pretty ripped.

OP read stronglifts if you want to go to the gym.
If you just want to lose weight, it's all about cardio (eg. HIIT).
Diet is also a major factor.
You're probably not eating right. Eat a big breakfast, gets protein and lots of fruits/vegetables for snacks.

well im sorry but postin this is gonna help you. Your problem is your own in this case, motivting yourself can be a bitch and its up to you. The best fit can do is possibly post some cool videos and troll you
