Scales Fatass
Nothing makes you feel like a fatass then going to the store and buying a new scale every other day because the scale you bought the other day won't measure your fat ass. The lady at walmart recognizes me and goes "oh, that one doesn't work?"

I weigh upwards of 300lbs and I'm following The Hacker's Diet which follows trends based on daily weight measurements. What does /fit/ reccomend as a personal scale?

Go to your post office and ask if you could weigh yourself everyday there.

I wouldn't worry about your weight until you get it lower-- it'll help save you some humiliation and it might help with your self image. Instead of focusing on a number, just try to be healthier and with time you can buy a scale once you lose some weight.

You'll be able to tell more by how you feel and start to look than you will with scales. It's also a hell of alot more motivating when you suddenly realising that you're doing something you do regularly but it's suddenly easier.

I wouldn't sweat scales too much, just start exercising and eating right, all that cliche shit

OP here. I've already started the excersize and the healthy eating. I know I've dropped weight, but not sure how much.

The scale helps determine how your metabolism changes so you can track trends in your weight, etc. The book really stressed it

I just feel stronger and see the muscle bulging. that was already enough for me. Then I felt literally stronger, could run longer. Then, THEN. Then I started craving the muscle-burn. The real indication a workout is working properly.

I to also say Fuck the scales.
