Sup /fit/,Which muscle groups do you train on which days? I'm getting into lifting and want to know what goes best with what in your experience.. Such as Back/tricep on monday or Chest/Tricep on monday etc...Cheers..
stop this
I do; shoulders/tricep/chest on monday, and bicep/back/legs on tuesday, recycle repeat - no lifting sunday. Light abs every day.
>>204681
>>204683I do this, but with a rest or cardio day (depending upon mood) on every third day, not at the end.
Why don't you guys just do a 5x5 program, where almost everything is included in one day?
>>204718Depends on your goals. The routines proposed above are more body building oriented while 5x5 is more strength based. You'll get stronger using a 5x5 program while you have better control over how your muscles develop with a multiday split.
I'm assuming you're just starting out?If you are, you should do all the major lifts to start recruiting muscles before you start targeting specific areas.

>>204786No, I understand they've probably been bulking for a while, but you can only really bulk to a certain amount until you just look like a fatass unless you have your shirt off.
>>204779And can I watch? Samefag here, by the way.
You just need to make a program where you let a muscle group rest for at least 5 or 6 days except for abs, they can be worked more often. Also put in rest days for your whole body to catch up. Although this is entirely dependent on your level of strength and size. More advanced lifters need more time to recover because more muscle fibers are torn.Group muscles together depending on what exercises are done. Chest goes well with triceps since many chest exercises also work triceps and vice versa. Also don't group big muscles with big muscles like back and legs.Just some simple rules that are good to know.

heres what i do for my strength training:chest and back one day, arms and shoulders the next, with abs everyday, and for legs, heavy cardio does the trick.
>>205399You're really neglecting your legs if you depend on heavy cardio.
