So, I was bopping along on my exercise ball today, which I just use as a chair when I'm home.

Somebody made a comment to me today about damaging my brain from constant bouncing, comparing it to shaking babies, or some stupid analogy.
I thought it was a load of crap, but still made me wonder whether there could be any danger.

What does /fit/ think?

And yea, I'm probably bouncing quite hard on it for 3hrs+ each day, that's why I'm curious.

no, it only occurs during violent shocks or accelerations, the adult skull, unlike an infant one is fused together and well solid.

you should feel immediate pain if you are experiencing violent body shifts
wich a mere exercise ball can't provide unless you fall on your fat skull.

get rid of the sharp corners and you'll be fine
