In addition to fruits, fish and some veggies, I eat approximately 600 grams of whole bread (that's a whole bread, mind you) and approx 200 grams of high-fat cheese a day.

Is this bad for my health? I just can't control this compulsion to eat bread.

(by the way, I am not fat)

How big is a serving of this bread and how many calories are in a serving? Same with the cheese. There's the slim probability that you're not going over any magic numbers with these two items alone, but there's also the very high probability that you're going over magic numbers with the other stuff you eat.

I've never been much of a cheese-eater, but I've been known to put down a loaf of bread in my day. Yes, it's unhealthy. Not just from the calories that taking in, but from the amount of carbohydrates. While we all need a lot of carbs to get through our active days, a loaf of bread is just way too much. If you can't limit yourself to a little bit for right now, start slowly cutting back.
