Hey /fit/,

will 40 sit-ups a day every day/eating healthy do much for you? I'm trying to make my abs more visible, I'm up for recommendations

Repeat with me: Abs are fucking worthless if the rest of your body is made up of dough

OP here, last time I weighed in at a hospital I had 5-6% body fat ratio if I remember correctly, one of those, so I'm not a dough body I don't think

Well then, you should do more exercises. /fit/fags will tell you to start powerlifting, but I think bodyweight exercises work well. Here's a comprehensive list: http://www.myfit.ca/exercisedatabase/resistancetrainingexercises.asp?exercises=Free%20Weight%20Train

Alright OP here AGAIN, just looking for a little advice, picture is in fact me flexing as hard as I could, to me and probably everyone else I look like a fatass.

How do I fix this grotesqueness, I JUST started eating healthy again after a long break from boxing.

Also as you can see the red line on my mid-section was from my one little stomach crease when I sit down, shit sucks.

I have a great Y center around my area, I guess the smartest move would be to start going again. They have a really nice pool. As for running I'd prefer to do it on a track by my house, so I guess due to my location I'm in some luck, although I'm sure everyone has a place to do that stuff somewhere.

Why would I post a picture of myself and be trolling you dumb fuck, I obviously don't care what people think, I mean shit I go to the beach and don't give a fuck why would I care what anonymous thinks? Besides, it's all for the sake of good advice, I'll be completely honest I was thoroughly convinced sit ups were the big secret but I came here and found otherwise.

You don't need bigger muscles. You need cardio. Lose some fat, OP. You got some. HIIT, cardio... just get out there and start moving like a motherfucker.

As many have mentioned previously, cardio is important. But 40 sit-ups are NOTHING, i normally do about 300 sit-ups and around 4 sets of around 150-200 crunches. Of course starting off most people cant do that many, but in no way am i trying to put anyone down. The important thing to remember is to keep at your routine, at a scheduled time each day.
