Got a question, probably a silly one. I've recently picked up smoking (feels good man). Also, I'm trying to bulk up, cause i'm kinda scrawny. Anyway, I heard that smoking can affect gaing muscle mass, cause of boosting metabolism, thus slowing it down. Is this true or some kind of bullshit?

I've never heard about that before. The solution is pretty easy though, just eat more.

As someone who smoked a pack a day for 4 years, quit, and got serious into running... Your energy levels and circulation will be much, much, much worse when you smoke than when you don't. Yeah, maybe it'll affect muscle growth directly. Even if it doesn't, it will absolutely affect your energy levels, which will absolutely lower the quality of your training.
