Alright, I'm joining the army in exactly two weeks, and while I have met and exceeded the physical standards, I want to be in the best shape in regards to endurance.

Press ups and curls are no concern, but my run time only just meets the recommended level, and I want to be as fit as possible when I do basic training.

I have been running and seeing results, but in these last two weeks I want to improve my endurance and running time as much as possible.

What does /fit/ recommend?

You're gonna fail so hard when they ask you to do pullups

All the SpecOps are doing it.

Switch to a better branch when you're up for re-enlistment.

Tie yourself to the back of a car and tell them to drive. Tell them, that if they hear you screaming for them to stop to only speed up.

The fear of dying will keep you going and will give you excellent results.

You should do calve, thigh, hamstring exercises to strengthen up your legs which will allow you to push off the ground harder giving you more speed. while doing this u must continue your running though, you can obviously increase it for more results.

seconded. have fun being armor support or rear echelon while everyone else is doing the actual fighting. I'm sure you'll really feel like you made a difference and made a good decision.

Appreciate the first real advice, though I'd be lying if I said I didn't find the other trolling humorous.

Would probably be relevant if I were American.
