I hit the proverbial "plateau" or so I think. I have come for advice.

3 Months ago I started to run everyday and changed my diet to vegetables/fruits/leanmeats. The past couple of weeks, I started to start taking a little bit of Whey Protein everyday after the run to maintain muscle while losing fat.

I started around 190-195 and am currently floating around the low 170's. My goal is to be down to 160(5'8") and then gain muscle as I lose weight from there. I have no desire to be any lighter than 160.(top of weight bracket for Judo competition)

Should I add weight training to my routine(3 days a week?), should I stop drinking protein until I get down to 160, should I run more? I'm afraid if I plateau'd at 170, I won't be able to make it down to 160.

ideally you should change up your routine every 8 weeks. weights should help, either an upper/lower split, front/back&lower split or full body, depending on how many days you want to commit
