You can find the numbers easily via a google search, but here's the basic plan: Make sure you can do lots of pull-ups, sit-ups, push-ups, be able to run 3 miles, and be able stay in the ruck marches.
>>201947That pretty much covers it, yeah.
>>201950THREE fucking miles? Is that it? THREE?Fuck... THREE?The British regular army gets trained harder than that.
>>201954That's just the physical fitness test--they have to run a hell of a lot more than that.
Wasn't this thread on /k/ a second ago? You'll probably have better luck there with all the military and military wannabes. In /fit/, you'll just get a bunch of requirements that are higher than what the real ones are, and a bunch of lying dipshits saying how much more they can do and how Marine physical training pales in comparison to their rigorous regimen of SQUATZ and HIIT.
>>202803How dare you insult our SQUATZ
>>202799^^^^Me again.Seriously man. Just run and get good at running. Once you've got that under your belt make sure you can do crunches and situps for a day straight. They quarter deck in boot camp as a punishment and depending on how lucky or unlucky you are you can seriously have your body beat. They basically just take you to the side and tell you to perform a specific workout and yell at you telling you to hurry up and do them as fast as they can. For example: Theyll say mountain climbers and you have to get in position, and start fucking hauling ass like you're on crack within the next second. At any given time during that workout they will tell you another workout and you have to switch and start moving fast as fuck within the next second. The goal is to wear you down. The faster you go and the harder you work, the less you have to deal with. It can be as short as five minutes or as long as an hour of nonstop killing yourself. Most of the workouts require you be in good aerobic condition and that your abdomen can take a lot of nonstop work. The better you perform, the less agony you have to deal with in the long run.
I'm in the marines right now. Only thing officers care about is CURLZ FOR THE GURLZ
>>202813lol, fucking officers
