Let myself set up the situation. Roommate doesn't do any strenous exercise. He used to being a farm boy growing up and taking wrestling in high school. Had some time in the military as well but he had a cushy time there. What he does now is Calisthenics from time in school and the military and some bits and pieces of yoga and pilates. No strengh training and no cardio, despite that he keeps in rather good shape. Eats rather healthy most of the time, his only indulgence is alcohol.

Now recently switched from drinking skim milk to drinking soy milk. He's been getting stronger and loosing some more fat. His body fat percentage is already in the single digits but going lower. A little jealous at how easy this all is for him.

So is soy milk as much of a miracle drink as this scenerio makes it out to be or am I just tripping?
