sorry if this is a stupid question. but i was wondering if you're eating fatty foods, like a small bag of potato chips, if it's better to eat them all at once or spread it out through the day. in other words, is there a limit on how much fat your body can absorb at once? It seems like at some point, there would just be too much to take in and you'd shit the rest out, but i have no idea.

Fat you eat does not translate to fat on your body. There are two types of vitamins, water soluble and fat soluble. You need both. Fat provides insulation from cold and protects organs from physical impacts. Fat lubricates joints.

If you want to become fat you have to go out of your way to overeat while sitting on 4chan 16 hours a day.

but how does absorption of fat work? i know with vitamins, like vitamin C, you can absorb a set amount and pee the rest out, so i'm wondering if it's the same basic principle for fat.

This is correct. Fat will be broken down in your body into sugar, with byproducts leftover depending on the type of fat, which may then be reconverted and stored in your body as fat. It will only be stored as fat if your calorie intake exceeds your calorie usage.

IE. Eating a bag all at once rather than spreading it out is like eating a sandwich all at once rather than spreading it out. It won't make any difference, unless you're talking about spreading it out over like a year so that you're actually reducing the total amount of chips consumed.

If your trying to get bigger and stronger you need fat. Your body can't live off of protein alone.

refined sugar surge > insulin surge > fatty deposits kept arteries and around body.

trans fat potato chips > is just fail
