Hey /fit/. I just got done running for 30 minutes.

I ran at what seemed to be a steady pace for the first 25 minutes and picked up the intensity for the last 5 minutes.

The area circled really kills me on my left leg only. Did I do something wrong?

Well, its a pretty common to mistake to kick ut up a notch towards the end. Instead you should start cooling yourself down and walk the last few hundred meter. Try stuff like running at top speed for short bursts while your are in the middle of running instead.

As for your pain in the leg.. i recommend taking a look at this site http://www.runnersworld.com/channel/0,7119,s6-241-0-0-0,00.html and see a doctor if the pains continue.

Look up IT band syndrome in google. I get the same pain. You have to build up really slowly.

I had that once for 2 months solid. Doctor said I had Tendinitis. It sucked, but he said I could run on it, it'd just hurt for a while til it got better on it's own.
