Hey /fit/, I think I broke my body.

I haven't worked out in years. The last time I've honestly done anything was back during PE of Highschool. I'm not FAT fat but I'm definitely out of shape. A week ago I did as many pushups as I could. 30 was my max in one go, but I did continued reps until I couldn't literally do one more (without going supersaiyan of course). In total I did 57 pushups. Right after that I ran for 3 miles and almost collapsed when I got back, I almost threw up and passed out, but I got some sugar in me and survived it.

Like I said, that was a week ago. My problem is I still can't move. I tried doing pushups again just now, but I can't do one still. I can't even raise my arms above my head without agonizing pain. I feel like John McCain. This is why I come to you /fit/. When the hell will I be normal again and what did I do wrong?

It's called stretching

It's also called not getting enough protein for recovery. But props for the effort - this is a great start.

Start slow, don't jump into it like that.

You probably fucked yourself for a while. Last time I did something like that (with pullups) it took me about 2 months of rest to recover. Next time ease into it more.

Oh so I need protein? If I start eating proteins will I be able to work out soon? Sorry, I know literally nothing about fitness and admittedly haven't lurked long enough. The spirit is there though!
