YO /fit/ please help!!
My arch has been hurting/feeling really tight after doing exercise!
based on this pic id say its the plantar fascia, seems to run along the length of that. Maybe centered a little bit in front of where it's pointed. No pain at all in the reddened area. WTF GIVES?!

I thought maybe my shoes were the problem so I've been running barefoot lately but its still been bad by the end(though not AS bad)

If I do too much it almost feels like its tightening into a claw and hurts a shitload. Please help!

Perhaps your shoes gave too little support...

Seems likely to me, running barefoot when you get problems with your feet when wearing what I can only presume were general running shoes that weren't made to fix anything you don't have is fucking retarded...

How long have you been running in bare feet?

It takes a while for your body to adjust and compensate for different stresses. (Strengthening muscles, bones, tendons, etc)

Well recently just a couple weeks, but this has been a nagging problem for years now.
I used to play a shitload of soccer basically every day if not multiple times a day and it would always partially bother me. Doctor's just told me to get those foot inserts which did/do nothing.
hopefully it wont be so bad once i lose some weight
