Of course if you take in too much protein and creatine at once, over an extended amount of time you'll do damage.
Protein, is harder for your liver to break down than most things, including alcohol. So you can imagine if your cramming that shit down 24/7 plus a tonne of eggs, whey protein and so on, your liver is going to go into overdrive to process it all.
Generally as a rule, just don't go ape shit on the stuff and you'll be fine. All things in moderation.
