What should my daily calorie breakdown percentage be between protein, fat and carbohydrates during weight loss?

I heard it should be protein60/fat20/carbohydrate20, amirite?

And is it true that if your protein percentage is below that you'll lose more weight in muscle, and less in fat, regardless of activity levels?

Help would be appreciated /fit/.

high protein moderate fat VERY LOW carbs are best for weight loss. 1.5 grams of protein per lb of lean body mass and .5 grams of fat """"" NO direct carbs sources. the fat will fucking fly off. do some very low intensity cardio too

Well I've been on a 1500kcal per day diet for 2 weeks now, and I do 1 hour minimum of stationary cycling per day, so I sort of am already doing that. Skinny.

There is no macronutrient percentage that is perfect for everyone. People are different. Anyone telling you otherwise doesn't know what the fuck they are talking about.

Hmm, ok, I just thought there may be a rough guideline.

carbohydrates are not your friend, fatty.

Don't worry about oatz, and focus on getting your heart rate up to fat burning level for at least 30 minutes a day. DO WORK.
>> Anonymous
Oatz are carbs and you need carbs so eat them but only as much as your diet lets you.

If you are allowed to eat 100g of carbs a day that doesn't mean you can eat 100g of sugar. And oatz are one of the best things you can eat for carbs.

How high should I get my heart rate up to, without risking a heart attack or something of that nature?

By the time I get up to 180 and keep it going for around 3 minutes, I feel like I will pass out and die. 200 doesn't seem possible.

But then the fuck do you take a normal shit? Or have functioning kidneys and sufficient energy? I've tried having that much protein before. I was tired, sore, and very bound up.
Honestly, though, if you eat 3-5 oz animal protein 3x a day and enough, but not over-doing it on healthy fats (FISH OIL and HEALTHY SATURATED FATS, ESPECIALLY COCONUT AND THOSE WITH CLA MAKES YOU LOSE WEIGHT) and fruit and vegetable carbs. You will lose weight. Just eat in moderation with exercise.

Also try caloric cycling for a little while. Keep your body guessing. Don't starve or gorge your body either. Just eat richer things one day your body isn't use to and maybe another have light, mineral-rich, soup the next.

Because the elves control the carbs, and if you eat the carbs the elves control you.
And no-one wants to be controlled by elves.
