What kind of regimen does /fit/ use to have clear skin? Also, does drinking alcohol/coffee, and smoking cigs/pot, have any effect on acne and skin complextion and what-not.

yeah you fucking junkie, your skin will look dirty when all you eat is crap and get high. eat clean food, quit junking it up and your skin will improve.

So, does that mean no alcohol? What will cigs/pot do?

eat your weed. muffins are good

better lung capacity = more oxygen = clearer skin, among many other things

Just milk should be fine. Milk makes me break out horribly, same with yogurt. Cheese and ice cream are fine for me though.

Alcohol can dehydrate you. That equals bad skin. Cigs and pot should be pretty much neutral for your skins health, but I'm not really sure on that one.

My face wash regimen!

Every morning and evening:

Wash face with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide (Acne Free)
use alcohol free Witch Hazel toner (Thayer's with rose petal)
Moisturize with non-comedeogenic lotion (cetophil)

The peroxide cleans out your pores and has anti-bacterial properties, witch hazel supposedly tightens your pores and is good for your skin (alcohol free is best since it won't dry your skin. You will probably have to go to a natural food store like Whole Foods for this), moisturizer keeps your skin from getting dry and irritated.

Tips:

-Wash your bed sheets regularly
-Use witch hazel toner to wash your face off (just swab with a cotton ball) then moisturize after you workout or do something that makes you sweat a lot
-drink lots of water
-avoid staying in fast food places or restaurants where you can feel the grease in the air
-avoid eating insane amounts of sugar

Now that's just stupid. The bacteria that can cause acne has a hard time living in an oxygenated environment, but breathing better does not equal oxygenated pores.

+1 on the dairy thing.

Studies of cultures that don't have dairy in their diets have shown little to no acne.

not eat grains, legumes, or processed garbage

haven't had any problems in almost a year, except once i ate some birthday cake and had a few breakouts the next day

That might be a bit tricky because I work in a place like that. And also, is it completley safe to cut out milk, and what should I eat to get whatever I am missing.
