So /fit/, I've come to lament

I've been trying to lose weight for a good 2 years now. And I haven't lost a pound. I changed my diet completely, did all kinds of different trainings, even tried supplements from time to time. And yes I'm still the same fatass that I always been.

imo losing weight comes hand in hand with exercise and proper diet. Counting calories if you are goal oriented.

Of course losing weight is easier than keeping it off, gluck

Well no shit. You're going to revolutionize fitness with that kinda thinking.

How overweight are we talking? If you are over 100 pounds overweight look into the lap band or gastric bypass, at extreme weights losing anything is hard and sometimes that is your only option.

I don't think there's anything to revolutionize. It's always been this simple and if the OP mentioned nothing of exercise, even the most basic of information can help.

Try for some different goals initially, strength goals, or distance/time goal if you're a runner/biker/rower/etc. It's easier to improve your strength and endurance if you're an endomorph (which I'm assuming you are) than it is to just lose weight. Work on that, then after you think you're reaching a plateau in your other, unrelated improvements, then look into losing weight.

I'm getting this from observing atheletes in high school - the fatties that cared mostly about improving in the sport they were in seemed to lose weight as sort of a side-effect, whereas the non atheletes that were losing weight for the sake of losing weight rarely had as good results.

Actually, I at a point had reached a point where I spent 14 hours a week at the gym.

OP hasn't tried hard enough.

I was just like you, OP, until a little while ago

Joined the gym, and 2 months later, here I am, 30lbs lighter.

If you want to lose weight expect to work for it.

If you're serious, and you haven't lost any weight from 2 years of serious trying then my only advice is to seek medical advice.

Jesus. If that didn't help, you're fucked.
