right

i bought some chalk so that i can grip the weights better, since i cba buying gloves. basically my problem is that i've been carrying it around in a ziplock bag in my pocket; and i was wondering if you guys had any advice on a smarter way of dispensing it while in the gym that didn't involve a ziplock bag, or a tray full of chalk next to every weight rack (which unfortunately don't exist in my gym).

Yeah, I bought a big box of chalk. I work out in my basement, but still.... how do you work the big blocks? I just bust a chunk off and powder it up.

i thought i'd make my own chalk-ball with an old pair of tights or something. failing that i'll just cut a pocket off an old pair of trousers and put a carabiner on it and attach it to my belt.
i've pretty much been doing the same thing - break a chunk off and powder it in my hands. i could continue that way but it'd be nice to have an effective way to dispense the stuff.

Buy a chalk bag. Usually found in the climbing section.

Prolly 10-20 bucks.

Dot it.

It's from the new James Bond movie. A homage to Goldfinger, but with oil.
