I know the much repeated phrase on here that:
"You can't lose weight and gain muscle at the same time"

So what would it actually do for your body to do weight training one day and cycling the next repeatedly?

I want that pic as a poster I have decided

Cycling is less fat-burning than jogging and certainly more muscle building.

Therefore in that case I would expect you to retain more muscle mass.

what will doing weight training one day and cardio the next actually do?

Depends how much cardio.

If you use more energy then you're eating, bad shit.

However, if not, it's all good. You should be doing some cardio along with weights to keep your heart healthy. Just not enough to start losing weight.
