Yeah, I have a 'love handles' problem too. Another concern is that when I was young, I had gynocomastia (basically, small breasts.) Doc went in, cut out the breast tissue. One unfortunate side effect is that my nipples are now concave (and a little lopsided. Can't tell in this picture though). I am hoping that, if I cut the fat on my chest and below it, they will flatten out. So, I have more motivation than just abs. We'll see how that goes!
I am still lifting weights, so I am hoping to keep the muscle mass I have, maybe even grow a little bit despite losing fat (still trying to keep my protein intake up). Once I slim down, I am planning on bulking again, trying to put on strictly lean gains.
Anyways, am I hearing that my goal for love-handle free, maybe even ab definition, should be around 170? That seems really low, considering I am 6'2", but then again, I was 185 about 8 months ago, before bulking, and didn't have abs then. I do have more muscle now though. I will keep at it!
