You will tell us about your gym, the people that goes there, etc..

Mine is about 40x80 meters. Atleast 40 different machines. 2 squat racks. 6 Benches (one is inclined, one is declined).
If you choose a free trainer or one that you pay, there is no difference, really. They all give you isolation and machine exercises, because they're the easiest to teach. I saw the private trainer teach a girl how to do the squat. Football squat ROM and it took her a whole minute to do 6 reps FTW.
The people there thought ignorant are usually friendly, but some of them seem to forget they're in a gym so they talk really loud, scream (gb2 nightclub metrofag)
I feel really bad, since i'm the only one exercising like a real man.

Pic related: it's an average noob at my gym.

mine isn't that big, it's missing a lot of essentials like a rack for SQUATZ... fairly large cardio room (10-12 ellipticals, 10-12 treadmills, 2 stairmasters, 2 rowing), average weightlifting/machine area, couple leg machines. Casual place... prime time hours get way too crowded. Only 49 cents a day though, which is why I still go there.

I go to 24 hour fitness because there's one right next door to my work. Shitload of machines (both cardio and weight), 5 benches (3 flat, 1 incline, 1 decline), 1 power rack, 1 squat rack, one of those wierd deadlift stations. It's fine for what it is. Tomorrow I have the day off work and I'll get the chance check out the old school gym in my neighborhood.

Unfortunately not all 24 Hour Fitnesses are open 24 hours...at least not in L.A. anyway. Pretty stupid if you ask me

I wish I had access to a gym with olympic lifting platforms and bumper plates instead. Also I have never engaged in any acts of niggertude, and I resent your implication that I have.

I go to my school's gym since it's only 60 bux a semester.

It's got 1 bench, 2 incline benches, 1 squat cage, lots of dumbels, 4 olympic bars, a nautilus cable thing, a bunch of those machines, and lots of bikes and other cardio shit. It has pretty much everything I need. Not much floor space though.

Going to a pretty big university this fall though so I'm expecting a bigger gym.

My first gym was a YMCA and it was pretty decent. Everyone was nice and kept to themselves, there weren't any assholes. The free weight room was separated from the machine room, so the serious lifters wouldn't get interference from noobs.

Then I went to a really chic health club and was mostly surrounded by annoying soccer moms.

Now I'm at an old-school place where the guys dress like they're from the 80's and practically live there. It's small and run down but I like it.

my gym is a uni gym on the edge of town, it takes a half hour bus ride to get there, but its quieter than my uni gym, and the weight room is massive by comparison. 8 power racks, 4 incline benches, 5 regular benches, two squat racks, some cable machines that i don't know how to use, and three walls of free weights. costed me £26 for a membership for a year, and £3.40 per entry. not the cheapest, but it'll do for the next little while.
the people aren't talkative, but are polite, and the guy who showed me around had the WIERDEST stutter i've ever witnessed.

I go to a pretty nice - yet small gym, it has 2 floors
1/3 of the bottom floor is a room which they hold classes , 1/3 of it is a cardio room with shitloads of different machines....30 in all ...then the last 1/3 is machines ..about 15-20....the second floor is mainly freeweights with 6 benches , 3 squat racks and 4 free bars...and a shitload of dumbells ...overall its nice ...its only $15 a month ($100 initial fee ) there are the typical soccer moms...sexy ass teens ....then the roid heads outnumber everyone.... I make it my duty to teach the sexy ass girls who are doing something wrong or teach them how to do it .... the majority of the time i get a date ....its a nice place to meet wumenz

i go to a local "health and fitness" place, its pretty goddamn large. its got 4 tennis courts, 3 racquet ball courts, a basketball court, full size indoor track. a pretty large weight room with 3 squat racks, 2 smith machines, 5-6 regular benches, 2-3 adjustable benches for incline/decline, a shit ton of machines and a seperate area with like probably 25 treadmills/ellipticals/stationary bikes the crowd there is pretty much split between old guys who play tennis and younger college age kids, a lot of them i used to go to high school with. they also do all the classes and tanning and shit, i like the place and its only 24 bucks a month

I go to my loca YMCA and its pretty good actually. 1 Bench, 1 Squat, and a bunch of machines and free weights. But my schools gym is amazing in comparison, 4 squat racks, 8 benchs (2 incline), 4 deadlift platforms, and assorted free weights and machines.

me again - there's hardly any women in my gym, save a couple pro athlete types who warm up with my max squat :(
theres an upstairs with a heap of treadmills and bikes and rowing machines, but i've only been in there once. theres a machine gym room that i never use, and a bunch of squash courts i've never used, but would like to, coz squash looks immense. come to think of it, my gym's pretty awesome.

i work out in my schools weight room with my team. we have 2 olympic lift stations with racks and benches, plus 4 other flat benches, 1 decline bench, and 3 incline benches. 2 racks of dumbells (with dumbells from 5-100 lbs on each), 3 squat racks, and an assortment of machines such as a leg curl, leg press, leg extension and preacher curl machines. We also have 2 dips stations and 3 pullup bars. We workout very seriously in there, no pussy shit. Theyll kick you out and tell you to join a gym if you dont act seriously and lift seriously. We do all our cardio running around the school grounds, or sprinting on the track/football field. Plus my school is an all guys catholic school with about 800 students, and we have power house wrestling, football, soccer, powerlifting, cross country, and tennis teams, with state playoff qualifying teams in other sports such as swimming and basketball as well. But all our benches are old and decrepid and 1 of the machines doesnt work. But other than that all of the equiptment is nice although a little rusty.
