/fit/, I've been slowly increasing my calorie intake so I can get out of starvation mode. I also go on my treadmill for an hour a day, but when you add more calories and see no progress because of it, you get discouraged. Anyone want to make me feel better?

Wait, you're increasing calories AND cardio?

I'm lost.

My nutritionist and I figured I'm eating only about 700 calories a day. We're boosting it up to 1000 and going higher... I've gone up since Tuesday, but like I said, I really haven't lost much since I used to, and so, I'm a little sad.

Oh, if I didn't specify, we're going up to 1000ish until mid April when I have an appointment again, but yeah.

I'm sorry, I'm still a tad lost, what are your goals? were you suffering from an eating disorder and you're trying to get to a healthy weight, or what?

Oh, I don't think I read your post correctly. But, I've been trying to lose weight since late January, and have successfully gone from 196 to now, 159-160. I did, however, eat too little. So now, my nutritionist says I must increase my intake, so we're slowly going up at a pace where I can be comfortable. I still need to lose about 25 lb, though... And because my metabolism has slowed down, it has trouble burning the new calories I'm eating. I also work my ass off during my hour long cardio I've been doing for some time, so seeing no progress has been discouraging.
