hey /fit/ my lower ribs stick out a lot. they stick out as much as my chest does.

i was wondering if anyone else is like this and if there are any exercises that can push them back in.

Jump up in the air, and make sure you land on the front part of your rib cage. Should push them back inward in no time!

Muscle in that area might make them appear less prominent though.

I am like this too, I have no idea what easy/good ideas to try.

What I'm attempting now is: eat more, a lot more, and drinking a more water, a lot more.

What I'm going for is just increasing the size of my abdomen, through diet and exercise I'll be able to control it, then I can define it.

Try working your serratus anterior (Boxer's muscle). That'll put a bit of meat on those ribs and fill them out a bit.

My ribs are like that as well. I think they call it the butterfly cage or something. Anyways, it's genetic, so you can't do anything to make them not stick out. What I have is even worse, one of mine sticks out far more than the other one. Just do serratus, pecs, and abs, and you may be able to cause your ribcage to look smaller in comparison. If all fails, just try to relax, you look fine.
