Velocity diet. Anonymous
So, hey guys.

I've just drunk my first shake of my next 95 motherfucking shakes.

I've just downed my first two salmon oil capsules, picked the remaining milled flax seeds out of my teeth, popped my thermogenic pill, choked a little on my calcium and mulitvitamin and as soon as my workout buddy gets up we're hitting the gym like it INSULTED US.

Just thought I should let /fit/ know.

Pic not even in the slightest related.

Good job man, keep strong.

Read up on it. Similar to most high protein, low carb diets. Sounds expensive for the shakes & pills.

How much is it costing per month?

It's actually not that expensive considering your actual grocery bill will be miniscule for the duration.

I'm doing my own modified, personalized version of the diet, but the gist of it is the same. My hunger's like a roller coaster for some strange reason. One minute I'll be craving pizza hardcore and an hour later I'll have no appetite whatsoever.

So far the diet's showing good progress though.

For sure. This thing is bruuutal.

One thing I added myself to the diet though is I eat baby spinach like it's my job. Spinach is like one of the most calorie sparse foods that exists, so even though I'm downing a huge bag every two days, it's only 100 calories for the whole damn thing so it helps with the hunger while not spoiling my efforts.

OP here. So far I've only spent $44.00 in total for 908g protien powder with micellar casien and 2 pouches of milled flax seeds. I may need more protien powder down the road, but I have at least enough to last a week and a half.

I already owned the rest of the supplements. One thing for certain is this is going to be assloads cheaper than eating real food for a month.

yea i did something sorta like that. Just wat i did is to reward myself for keeping on the diet on sunday i allow myself to make 1 strawberry/banana smothie and replace 2 of the protien shakes for the day with that. Its nice to get the taste of some real food once a week.

OP again. I feel the same. The diet says not to supplement with greens if you're taking a multivitamin, but I honestly think that's bullshit. They give you the reason that you want to "re-train" your tastebuds to crave healthy food... but I'm not sure that's worth skipping nutrients.

Getting a bag of spinach to nosh on sounds like a really swell plan. I'd already decided to add a few strawberries to my morning smoothie to up my carb intake a little so I wasn't putting too much strain on my liver.

Give it time, you are adjusting to dropping all the bad shit like sugar and carbs your body craves. I was the same in my first few weeks of a similar diet, after about 1 month it decreased and now 3 months in i dont crave "bad" food much. Likelyhood is you will get faster results than me, here's my stats so far:

5'10

3 months ago: 280lb
now: 235lb

No, its not muscle i've been losing.

Good luck with the diet and get an ultimate goal, it helps keep you motivated.

hey guys. i started the velocity diet last friday and i plan to stay on it for 30 days. So as of today i still got 22 days left.

So far in 8 days ive lost 11 pounds.

Anyone else want to post there results so far in the diet?

OP yet again. You've just made me realize I should post my starting stats...

166cm
118lbs (as of this morning, according to my scale)
20% bf.

Goal: 12% bf, 115lbs?

>>146940

Female i hope?

And 3lb of fat will very unlikely be 8% BF.

skewed omega-3 EFA = increased oxidative stress
vitamin E GO!
mixed tocopherols GO!
gamma tocotrienols GO!

>>146948

Yep, female.

And I know that 3lbs of fat is not 8% body fat. I hope to get some nice muscle gains on the diet as well, as I haven't been eating as much protien as I should for substaintial muscle gain until now. I was really only lifting to regain the strength I lost due to some medical crap.

118lb sounds extremely light for someone wanting to diet though, can you post pics?

Oh hey, you're right. Thanks for the tip anon.

It might be light, but the velocity diet is supposed to shed fat. I want to get cut, not get skinny- I think I'm thin enough as it is. I have no camera atm. I will get one and post a before and after at the end of the diet, though.

Sorry i meant your weight sounded light for someone wanting to diet. So i guess you are skinnyfat then?
>> Anonymous
>>146976

More than I'd like. Which is to say I still have enough fat to lack definition, but not enough to be skinnyfat.

Good luck! That's a tough one to stick to.
