...in all reality, dont do it to "get in shape or build muscle", start running and lifting weights like every other person and maybe do parkour as a hobby to supplement working out.

It's more strenuous than orthodox running and has about the same exercise benefits.

If you really wanted to pursue it, make sure you make big, exaggerated motions with your arms and legs to burn calories quicker. However, building muscle would be more difficult with Free-running.

Obviously, solely it isn't a good idea for a fitness routine but in conjunction with an ordinary choice, it'd help.
