You have the same problem 90% of the world has. You don't understand hard work.
You can lose any amount of fat you want, if you work hard. You're probably not exercising enough, or correctly. You're probably exercising away like 200 calories and eating like you exercised away 1000.
Running a mile on a treadmill in no way shape or form means its ok to have fucking cake. I hate people that are like "Well I went to the gym today."
Please, I bust my ass for 90 minutes 6 days a week and am lucky to burn 500 calories. Which is what, like 5 cookies?
