I've had a pain in my foot (pic shows where) for about 3 or 4 weeks now. When I stretch it (toes pushed up toward the front of the knee) it hurts a little, but feels like I'm relieving a bit of the pain. It doesn't fully go away, though. There's no bruise or discoloration, either.

Foot massages KILL. When someone focused on that spot it was near blinding pain, and it did next to nothing in terms of relieving pain. If anything it hurt more the next day.

Anyone know what I might have done? Bruise the bone or something? I can't even pinpoint it to a new pair of shoes or anything like that. It hurts and I want to know WHY

You probably sprained something, your metatarsals are small weak bones that can be easily injured

It's lupus

anything I can do for it, or do I need to just wait it out?

Fortunately, the toes dont bend as much as the fingers do so you won't really have to worry about splinting it (if it is sprained) i still say you should check it out tho. but for now i'd say leaving it alone, icing it, wearing comfortable shoes. if its swollen you should really check it out

Deep under-callous blister?

L-ATC in training here (currently just a student athletic trainer)... could be what>>107140said.... could also be a stress fracture (these are quite common in the foot) or a problem with the sesamoids... rest and ice are recommended...

vist a doctor (MD, not DO) or L-ATC
