I have been packing myself a bento lunch every day for portion control, and it has been working really well. Lots of different foods makes lunch more satisfying and filling, so I don't have cravings during the day. Problem is, my boyfriend and I make all sorts of random crap for dinner, and I usually eat too much just because I'm not sure when to stop (and he eats a ton). Any suggestions on ways to cut down my dinner intake?

Pic related, it's a bento I made (banana bread, yuuum)

Dude, I didn't say I porked out and ate a pack of bacon at dinner. Just that I can't eat a 500 calorie dinner with my boyfriend - he is italian and piles food on my plate. And cooks lots of pasta. My evening meals are not consistent with the rest of my diet.

With bentos its really easy to determine appropriate portions - not so much otherwise.
