Weightlifting thread

Been Lifting For: 9 months
Goals: currently at 180lbs bench press, 210lbs by the end of year.
250lbs Squat, 310ish by the end of the year (weak legs)

Bench: 150lbs
Deadlift: 150lbs
CURLZ: 50lbs

Goal: Reach at least 190lbs body weight.

because there's no fucking point to it, you look like a chooch doing it.

curls are at best a supplemental exercise, they're fucking throwaway work at the end of a workout like calves or lateral delts or something, you really don't have to do them at all

Lifting 2 years, 19yrs old 5'8 200lbs
Bench:incline 225 (6 rep 2x) flat: 245 (6 rep 2x)
Squat: 275 (6 rep 2x)

Goal: ...Get down below 10% BMI

My workout style is different. Start at 6rep max 2x then 10rep max 2x then 12rep max 2x. I guess you could say its more of a muscle endurance style. Do 6 sets for everything.

Dead: 600lbs (max)
Curls: 65's each hand for 5 reps /proper form

Raise the weight to 45kg and do 5x5 instead of to 8. Even 3sets of 5 will probably be enough if you're just starting out.

Full body or a split? If it's a full body then try for 5x5 if it's a Chest/Tri day then do 3x5 and whatever your other excercises are, etc. Maybe throw in some decline/incline if you feel you can.
