So i've just started doing some lifting, all I have is dumbells, heres all the exercises I do, was wondering if I'm missing any vital exercies. I do about 3 sets of about 12 reps with a 30 sec break between sets for each exercise, I have no idea what the weight of the dumbells are, but it takes alot of effort to do 12 reps.
-Flat bench dumbell press
-Single arm dumbell rows
-Two arm dumbell rows
-Dumbbell Lunges
-Dumbbell Squats
-Dumbbell Stiff Leg Deadlifts
-Dumbbell Calf Raises
-Dumbbell Extensions
-Standing Single Arm Dumbbell Extensions
-Seated Dumbbell Curls
-Dumbbell Concentration Curls
I do this one day, then have a day of rest the next. I use light cardio to warm up for the lifting. I was wondering how I could improve it, and is it a good idea to do cardio on the days off, or the days I do lifting.

cardio isn't completely pointless, like HIIT is still okay.

but all of it should take a backburner to lifting weights.

think about humans as animals, we aren't gazelles or cheetahs. we are apes, we swing around and lift stuff and throw things, we are more made to lift weights than do cardio.

humans are designed to hike, more than run, unless you are a kenyan
