Eat well and start walking - anything that gets your heart rate up. As soon as you're fit enough to jog, do that. Then run. Then sprint like a motherfucker.

Just keep pushing your limits and you will get there eventually.

Find some healthy food that you actually enjoy. It's easier if being healthy isn't a punishment. Often times, that means cooking a teensy bit. Hey, it helps with self-discipline too.
Don't start off with something unreasonable "I'm gonna cook twice every week!" Just try cooking something healthy (or just cooking) once, then maybe again some other time.

Too fat to run means you either walk, bicycle, row or swim. You eat uncontrollably and you have to stop doing that. Eat more healthy food

If you eat healthy your sense of taste changes. Especially if you eat a lot of raw foods, what will start out not being tasty will get tastier and tastier. I've gone from using lots of dressing to barely putting anything on salads because of this, and I like tomatos much more now. Another pleasant side effect is that junk food becomes less and less appealing.

Also, walk as much as you can each day.

If you're that heavy, you don't need to run, unless you plan to fuck your knees up. Get your head in the game, realize you're going to have to change some of your habits to lose weight. After you're properly motivated to do this (and you're sure you'll stick w/ it), modify your diet and begin eating clean. Finally, once you're routinely eating clean and well adjusted to that, begin exercise.

3. Once you're ready, walk for 30 min (if you can't make it to 30, do as much as you can and work your way to 30)
Increasing by 5 min intervals per week, work your way up to 60 min/week. When you're muscles have adjusted to this and you've lost enough weight, use the same method for jogging. The most important thing is to jog NOT STOP. Keep the legs moving.

If you can make it to 60 min of jogging everyday, now you're free to persue light weight lifting and running/sprinting/HIIT.

From this point on, you no longer drink sodas, sugary fruit drinks, or alcohol, or coffee. You now only drink water and unsweetened tea.

From this point on, you no longer eat white bread, ever.

From this point on, you no longer eat any pork product or processed meat, ever.

Form this point on you no longer eat any other fat/sugar combo candy crap snacks at all.

From this point on, you avoid fatty add-ons like cheese and sour cream and mayo. Lean meat already has enough fat in it.

Food is now on there for one purpose, to feed you protein and good carbs as efficiently as possible. You do not care about how it tastes, if it has the nutrition you need, its fucking delicious.

-Buy cans of chicken breast, and frozen boneless/skinless chicken breasts, eat one a day somehow no matter what.

-Buy eggs, boil them, peel them, and put them in the fridge.

-Buy cottage cheese. Learn to like it with berries in it.

-Buy beans, learn how to cook and eat them every day.

-Buy bananas and toilet paper

-Buy oatmeal, one flavored instant, and one big tub of the boring unflavored. Mix them half and half every morning for breakfast with a boiled egg and a banana a multivitamin and a glass of milk. This is more important than any other meal. You fucking eat it and love it.

Eat 5 meals a day. Never get hungry, never get full. Get some carbs and protein a couple of hours before your workout, and take some more protein and carbs within 30 minutes after.

Great advice. There are those (Mehdi of Stronglifts comes to mind) that would state that he should start lifting weights right away - which builds up muscle mass (obviously), but then turns up the metabolism from the weight workout as well as turning up his daily bodily calorie needs.

But, if you must, keep some tea packets if you're one of those fat morons that think that water tastes bad.

I run a mile 3 days a week, and I'm also on week three of the 100 pushup challenge so I do my pushups the same day.

I have one day off, so the other 3 days, I'm doing:
50 sit ups
100 squatz
100 crunches
an hour of stretching

I'm working on getting my sit ups to 100.

Just do what i did, stop eating and pick up smoking while drinking a shitload of water and pair that with alot of walking, preferrably while listening to good music because that gets your heart rate up ever so slightly.
