So i heard a news report on a study about weight lifters that drank cherry juice and that it helped reduce the length and severity of DOMs , the reason your sore the days after working out. i looked it up and found that is was the Anthocyanins in the cherry juice that caused it to work. Anthocyanins are antioxidants that act as pigments in dark red, blue, purple, and black berries, fruits, and vegetables, such as black berries, blueberries and purple carrots.

V8 V fusion, the berry flavors anyways, are high in these anti oxidants, and for the past month or so that ive been drinking it, the only time ive been sore was for the 2 or 3 days i went without it. i swear by the stuff, is works wonders on soreness, and has many other benefits too. its 100% juice, no added preservatives or sugars. and unlike most juices, it isnt comprised of mostly apple juice.

I'm glad someone else swears by this stuff too, but me for other reasons, my favorite flavor being the orange or strawberry.

I was unaware of the benefits of the darker flavors, though. I have a bottle of it in my fridge, I'll have to check this out.

This stuff is delicious. Supposedly, you can get a full serving of vegetables from drinking a glass but it definitely cannot replace solid vegetables.

Also, don't drink too much at once - there's about 25g of sugar in one serving.
