I used to work out in highschool, but after graduating I stopped.

I started again recently, and find that after working out I cannot straighten my arms (muscle hurts when I stretch).

Is it better to stretch out the arm and ignore the pain, or keep it bent until it feels better?

Do you stretch after you're done? If not, then start. You should stretch for 10-15mins. If you do stretch, then idk, stretch more lol.
