Don't drink any soda. At all. I used to think it was bland (and it is) but the water is what you need. Don't think about what you're missing out on and it's exactly what it's supposed to be. Get a few lemons and cut a slice and squeeze it in there if you want, it takes pretty good. Only drink water for a week and you won't miss it at all.
I've only drank water for the past 2.5 years. Had a few teas only when I go out somewhere nice to eat. You don't need to buy the shit in the bottle either, if you're a city boy filter your water and keep it in the fridge.
