another fart thread Anonymous
so what does /fit/ do to relieve protein-shake induced indigestion, i.e. farts?

i've found smaller doses help...i do 2 scoops per shake now instead of 3 or 4...

also, i've found this happens less w/ soy protein but more w/ whey protein...are my suspicions legit? would casein or soy be a solution?

i never used to fart much/at all. About a month ago i started trying to eat healthy (just for the sake of trying to be healthy, i wasn't overweight or anything).
Before i used to eat shitloads of fast food, now since trying to eat healthier i fart a lot.
Though i don't drink any protein shakes.

Your body has probably lost the flora that thrives off vegies because you've starved them for so long with fast food, it should get better, try a probiotic

i only get that if i drink whey + milk many times per day (like 4 or 5)
if i don't mix whey and milk i'm fine
even if the quantities remain the same

Enjoy your farts, they are a sign that your digestion system works well.
There is nothing to be done except to enjoy them, especially silently in the elevator.
