It looks like a fine generic 5x5 program for beginners. Do it, with emphasis on the deadlifts and squats.
It's good for strength. If you have never worked out in your life this is a good program too do. Just make sure you eat enough healthy food. Your metabolism is going to jump through the roof and you need food for energy.
