Ok /fit/,

I've been looking for a healthy protein bar for a snack food/ after workout boost and have been unable to find anything to my liking.

I am looking for a bar that does NOT contain the following: high-fructose corn syrup (or related trash), soy product of any kind, gluten, sugar substitutes.

It should also be low on sugar say 8g or less.

Does such a bar exist?

tl;dr I need a healthy protein/carb bar w/out HFCS, soy, or sugar shit

pic semi-related: corporate trash

4. Walk away disappointed with Kmart's/GNC's/Walmarts/every stores health sense.

I think these are the highest quality bars out there.

30g of protein per bar, 30 grams low glycemic index carbs, and plenty of "good" fats.

Only minor problem with these is that although they taste pretty good, they're as chalky as hell, so have a glass of milk or water handy to help with the chewing.

No other bar fills me up quite as well as these.

You can look here for more nutritional info:

Oats 3½ cups 2.00

Totals:

1 serving = ¼ of batch
600 calories 57g carbs 52g protein 15g fat 8.5g fiber

The totals are not completely EXACT.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl, mix then spread it all out on a pan or plate(use pam spray). then cut in to 4's. Then chill it, and eat them when ever you need them calories.
Try adding nuts, dried fruits. The original recipe called for regular milk, but I'm lactose intolerant.

Whey looses its quality when it is baked. Just do a milkshake with milk, whey, banana, honey and peanut buter.

No baking required!
Just mix, then throw it in the fridge.
4 servings, so you just pull one out of the fridge when ever you need it.

PROTEIN BARS HAVE CHEMICALS AND CHEMICALS ARE BAD FOR YOU, FLIP THAT SHIT AROUND NEXT TIME YOU ARE GETTING READY TO EAT ONE AND SEE IF YOU CAN IDENTIFY ALL THE INGREDIENTS AS REAL FOODS.
