I don't know if anyone has asked this but I'm 6'2" and 150lbs. That's pretty light at my height. What is a good way to gain weight? I heard eating peanut butter sandwiches might help but my metabolism is so fast that anything I eat will probably be burned off by the next day.

There's no way to really bulk up without months and months of sweat and pain, sadly. Get on a good steady workout routine and eat a shitload of food(you'll need it).

Ill say now that you don't want to. Gaining weight is much easier than shedding it. However i recommend that you start weightlifting/running or a sport of some kind to build up that hunger and build muscle at the same time.

But if your looking for fat just go high carbs and sugar and you'll be a fatass in no time.

Workout a lot, eat a lot. And if all else fails eat before you go to sleep. That last one is usually a no no, but as long as you're working out it should be fine.

OP here. I've heard the only way to gain weight is to do exercise but I haven't done exercise since 10th grade of high school and that was a looong time ago. Also, I ate McDonald's every day for a month straight. I gained about 5 pounds.

I don't think the OP wants to gain 5lbs of fat.

Well lets get this clear do you want fat or muscle weight? if you just want to be a blubbery fatass just keep eating and sooner or later your metabolism wont be able to keep up with your body and you'll gain that weight. If you go on a exercise reign with a semi healthy diet you'll gain muscle weight and look alot better, its harder but well worth it.

If you want to stop looking insanely skinny(beanpole-like), I don't suggest running to build muscle. If you start long-distance running, after a few years you get this super-lean look, like a looooooooongcat cheetah or something. Running is great exercise though, it's what I do myself to keep in shape.

Plan on eating around 3,500-5,000 calories daily. 1.5 to 2 grams of protein per pound of TARGET bodyweight, an equal amount of slow-burning "good" carbs and a smattering of healthy fats. Do some cardio three times a week after workout, but keep it to a minimum. Lift progressively heavier weights focusing on the squat, the deadlift and the bench press or overhead press.

Use creatine and whey protein to supplement your training and eating habits. Take fish oil and glutamine.

If all else fails, a gallon of chocolate milk a day and Taco Bell twice daily. This may result in you becoming a fat fuck, so only indulge in this last option if you have tried EVERYTHING else.

OP. Yeah I kinda ran track during high school which made me this middle distance running skinny looking guy. I'm not trying to be a fat fuck, I just want to gain some muscular weight and have some base to me. It's kinda embarrassing to be at a kegger in college and dance with a girl only to have her huge ass move you around the room because you're so light.
