I won't lie about that. But I'm not a bodybuilder. I'm just looking to become decently strong and healthy and, as a side-effect, look better.

I'm not telling you that for vanity. It will prolong your career if you choose to pursue the game into Uni or even pro. Muscle will help protect you. It will also make you explosive so you can break tackles and make them if you have to much better. Technique is important, but can only carry you so far.
If a defender is like 100kilos and lines you up for a good open-feild hit, you're fucked at your size.
Power cleans, squats, deads and shit will help your game. As will adding some lean muscle. You won't hit 200lbs quickly, but you can add a good 5-10 lbs in your off-season.
It won't slow you down. Trust me. I wrestled olympic style and when I went from 190 to 205lbs, I was much faster and stronger. Guys couldn't over-power me in my own weight class (82 kilos) anymore. I could even do well against some bigger guys.
