Well, I'm still recovering from anorexia nervosa, and there have been times when I've fasted for 48 hours and been OK. There was one time when I had heart palpitations, but no heart attack. I was just wondering what going too far would be considered, so I know not to go that far.

>>350090
Then your question would have to be: How much must I eat to be healty and not much time can I pass without eating....
>> 350075
I can run 1.5 miles in under 10 minutes on the treadmill, but when i try to run the same pace on the track i get nauseated on the 3rd or 4th lap and i have to slow down to not throw up and my run time end up being between 12-14 minutes.

Is this just because i dont practice enough on the track (rarely) or could something else be wrong?

med student OP

my left heel achilles clicks when I do my daily hour runs.... my doc appt is in 2 months since he's booked up... any suggestions? a friend said to let it rest for a week.. but at least walk around the block a few times to keep it active.

Running on treadmill is much easier than running on a track

Okay, here goes. I've caught a cold and I'm worried I might damage my heart if I go to the gym tomorrow, at least that's what everybody tells me. But I read somewhere that you should never skip a gym day, just do the exercise with like 50% power. What should I do?

Also, how can I tell if I have a tight foreskin or not? I'm afraid to ask a real doctor because it's such a personal problem.

Since when? Any pain? Doesnt sound like a achiles tendon problem. I think it articular. Unfortunatly, I dont know what your doctor could do. He will probably refer you to a physiotherapist.
Your plan sounds fine, dont over use it but keep it active.

>>350104
It will not damage your heart. Go train if you feel like it. (But honestly, I dont think missing one day is such a big deal...)
Foreskin: does it hurt?
Yes? Go see doctor (dont worry, he saw a lot of foreskin before)
>> Anonymous
How far back should the foreskin go? Mine goes just behind the head and won't go any further.

g2adoctor and get it checked. Can't help you over the interbutts.

>>350159
well the purple part, the head... you know the hue it has....
>> Anonymous
>>350158
it depends on the person.
Just behind the head is good so it doesn't reduce head sensitivity.

I'm not OP. and>>350161and>>350159
are me too.

I'm sure you're a troll.
But in case you're not, go to a doctor. Blood is coming out of your penis. If blood is coming out of anywhere you should go see a doctor.

Do you comment on other fit boards on different chans? If so, if you are that incredible faggot, you are fucking stupid and no one should take your advice.

Why does diastole initially lower in mmHg at the onset of exercise, but then return to normal over the course of a steady state bout?

u r being judged

>>350209

You suck at trolling.
>> Anonymous
>>350218
lol

are you serious?

it is HEALTHY in ALL normal people for diastole to drop and systole to increase at onset of exercise

.that.is.fact.

i was asking our Doc friend WHY does this occur and WHAT MECHANISM causes its reversal? (ie. systole back down, and diastole back up) during a steady state bout...

What's a good musculoskeletal reference for the hobbyist guy-trying-to-get-in-shape, not a career med student? I have access to a good medical library and I checked out Gray's Anatomy last night on a whim but it turns out that's not as useful for people like me as I thought it would be.

Hell, just list the names, authors, whatever of any textbooks you remember being assigned.

Not OP, but i am a fellow med student and athlete

What i do is stretch it out first, have someone push your toes toward your body while you sit on your butt. Or stand straight up on the sides of your feet.

After you're done stretching ice the fuck out of it. Also the obvious advice, dont work your legs too hard for a few days, and avoid a max power activity/work out for a week or more if neccasary.

>>350726
I meant to outsides of your feet, standing on the insides is not good.
