So, /fit/, I'm well aware that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and according to some sources, you should make it the largest.I'm a student, though. I don't have ANY time in the mornings, not even for instant oatmeal. Is it worth it to grab a FiberOne or a Cliff bar on the way out the door, or should I just wait until lunch (I eat at about 11), and save myself the calories?Suggestions for good breakfast-bar type things are always welcome!
Wake up earlier and quit making excuses.
>>109684Get up early.
>>109680That's what its all about. Go to bed earlier if you have to. It'll be worth it.

>>109688It's true, Canadafag and attending through the summer ;_;
Alright, alright! I get it! I'll get up earlier!That said, are breakfast bars really a worthwhile substitute for a full meal?
>>109691Not unless they have about 40g protein, 5g fibre and are made of eggs, oatmeal and whey powder.
>>109692I'll check what I normally buy, but I'm fairly sure mine are junkier than that.Is something better than nothing, though? Most days I just go without.
how hard is it to cook Oatmeal or have a bowl of Special K.heck just make some oatmeal cookies have drink with milk/protein shake.
>>109694God damnit. You know how long it takes to cook 2 strips of lowfat turkey bacon and 2 eggbeater eggs? ~6 minutes if you use a higher heat. You have no excuses not to be able to get up SIX MINUTES earlier to make a healthy breakfast.Then, surely you must have SOME days where you have more time in the morning. If not, that's okay. On the weekend, make a big batch of oatmeal that'll last the week. It takes about 1 minute to reheat some oatmeal.HOLY SHIT SEVEN MINUTES TO PREPARE BREAKFAST FUUUUUUUUUUCK THIS IS TOO HARD
>>109701Christ, man! I'm a student! I've got a shared mini-fridge and a barely working microwave! How the hell am I supposed to make bacon!I can't even EAT bacon!
>>109703With a blowtorch.
>>109710Education major. We don't get to play with the fun stuff.
duh. eat the fucking cliffbarotherwise your metabolism doesn't start at the right time
>>109679Dude you always have enough time. Wake up earlier.
You can cook bacon in the microwave, as well as tons of other breakfasts (eggs, oatmeal, grits, sausage, ect). Don't make excuses, find answers.
Just dont sleep at all OP. Go out and catch a fresh fish, stuff it with eggs whey powder and oatmeal, wrap it in bacon, cook and eat throughout the night then go to Uni.
Breakfast should be moderately larger (definitely the largest of the day), because you have more time to burn the calories. I'd eat about 6 times a day if I were you, with it going in this pattern:Largest(breakfast) - small(snack) - medium(lunch) - small(snack) - medium/small(dinner, and only before 8:00, or two hours before you go to bed).
