Strange behavior of the body. Anonymous
I've had a weight problem all my life.

I was born large (12lbs 9 oz at birth)
To a poor family (poor families typically don't eat as healthy as well off families)
I took after my fathers side of the family who seem to have a genetic weight problem (not using that as an excuse just another reason why it is difficult for me to lose weight)
I had childhood asthma during a time when pill form steriods were used instead of oral inhalers. (this increased my appetite during those years)

Now the weird. Even though I am heavy I've strived for nothing but to be healthy. when I was 15 I decided I didn't want to be fat anymore so I took up walking, which lead to jogging, which lead to outright running. I never lost weight in any significant amount. At first I continued to eat the way I always did but after a bit of research I started measuring my portions and I never exceeded 1500 calories a day (I figured I was eating upwards of 4000-5000 calories a day before the change).

I have lived that life of running every day (I cover a mile in about 6 minutes now so my rate isn't an issue) for 9 years now, I've been lifting weights for 5 years now (good, heavy lifts too not lolcurls and bench only) since then I've actually gained weight (I attribute this to lean mass from weight lifting) I gained weight steady at about 1 rarely 2 lbs per month since I started weight lifting.

Before today I weighed 330 lbs at 5'10'' however I havn't ran or lifted weights in 2 weeks and weighed myself today for the first time in 2 weeks and I had actually LOST 6 lbs but I don't feel near as good as when I was running and lifting.

What the fuck is going on with my body? Why does alot of exercise and weight lifting make me gain weight while sitting on my ass makes me lose it? I'm sick of being fat.

Its Because you just lost some muscle buddy, What you wanna do is carve your body so it gives more definition to your muscles.

6 lbs of muscle in 2 weeks? that seems a bit excessive since I'm still taking protien. My diet hasn't changed much I just stopped exercising. either way I'm not so worried about being body builder huge I just don't want to be fat if I'm defined and muscular when I'm not fat then great thats a plus but even if I had to be skinny i'd like it better than being fat.

Thats my main issue, I can't get rid of this fat

what do you eat?

stuff like egg whites and 1 yolk, oatmeal made with water not milk, like 1/2 a handful of peanuts as a snack, my whey protein only has 100 calories per scoop, chicken breast thats baked and had the fat and skin removed before cooking. Like I said before I've not went over 1500~ calories a day in about 8 years. I always make my breakfest my big meal, lunch a modest meal, and a small dinner, 2 small snacks during the day and the before and after workout protein. if I was at home I would scan my logs to show that I've not been going over.

I know its not helpful to say but if you are healthy it doesn't matter how fat you are. Consult a doctor, and maybe consider liposuction if the fat is really bothering you, but I'd say if you can lift heavy weights and run far and fast you shouldn't worry about weight. The strongest people in the world are "fat".

in a way I do agree with you but, it truely is just a shallow thing. I'll be the first to admit that. Fat people are unattractive I think most of us can agree on that.
