Halp /fit/

A few days ago I felt a little overtrained so I took a day off. I ate my 2200 calories (normally expending 2800 a day) in mostly protein and carbs, but the next day felt no better, energy-wise. So I decided to take that day off too, except mostly eating from protein and fat to switch it up. All healthy sources, of course. Then today after a nice 9 hours rest (usually get 6-7), I got up and decided to exercise because two rest days is kind of discouraging for me and my high goals. So I got out there, ran a quick two miler, then got back and lifted heavy--just a few reps of bench and deadlift, all as heavy as I can for that few reps. This was nothing compared to how much I normally do on my days after rest days.

But now I'm dead tired again, feeling very slightly overtrained again, and I have no energy. I could fall asleep right now if it didn't fuck up my sleeping pattern for work tomorrow. Caffeine isn't working, more carbs, more food aren't working. And now it looks like everything I eat is only half-digesting, from the looks of the stool coming out.

So what if you take a week off?
It's not gonna hurt you.

Tried to overeat, resulted in a food coma before I could get there.

Change it up and eat more fruit for a day or two. Usually works for me.
