The big things to take from that book are: 1) Write shit down. Meals, exercise, everything (try fitday.com, it remembers what you did/ate last so it's easy to use). It helps keep you honest and on track for your goals. 2) If you fuck up, don't derail everything. Get right back on the next day. 3) Eat and exercise often. I like to eat constantly, so I do what they recommend and eat 6 small meals a day. And working out everyday (whether it be cardio or weights) will help burn calories everyday, but not get you burned out.
