But, you have to have the confidence and style to pull it off. That's why it matters what YOU think. If you enjoy your body, I would suggest making sure to stay in the size 10 area. The other thing though, since your short, make sure your body has a shape to it, but not any bulges (curves are great; a fat ring or a belly pouch? No... lose weight). I know stores fluctuate very badly, but 12 to 14 to 16 is very, very easy to do. Make a goal to stay at a size 10. If you still don't like yourself, upgrade your goal. If your current boyfriend and you stop dating, and you want a change, upgrade your goals. Don't listen to too much on here, because in the real world (and especially away from the coasts if you are American), size 10 with a good fashion sense (knowing what looks good on you and how to pull it off) is hot. Just remember, it's a good place to be if you do want to change. It doesn't take too long to drop from a 10 to a 8 or 6 if you decide you want to be smaller.
If I were you, I would NOT set a goal to lose XX amount of weight. I'm make a simple plan to go walking every day (jogging if you enjoy it) and eat right. Yoga or (this is a really good idea) work on your flexibility. If you lose a little weight, you lose a little weight. It won't necessarily change your body, but it will make you look and feel better. If it does change your body, it will give you a little muscle tone/shape, which is what a lot of people desire. Drinking lots of water will help. A little bit of exercise will help. Even if you don't notice or you don't drop any sizes, the effort will make you look better to those around you. So, good luck OP. Ask yourself some questions first about what you really want.
