Hey /fit/

I'm trying to lose weight and build muscle at the same time, I was 300 pounds and now 260 after 1 months of working out, which includes running in the morning and doing cardio in the afternoon, and some weight lifting. Everything above my chest area is coming along well, however the chest and stomach area still have some fat, is there any way to get rid of it effectively without going to the gym or using equipments?

40lbs in one month is pretty savage.

I'm not sure, if that is a good rate though.

OP here, I'm already going around and under 2000 cal a day, with approximately 900 in the morning, 600 for lunch, and 500 for dinner, is that good enough?

Even so, 40lb in a month is extreme and i highly doubt it was all fat.

1. You cant spot reduce fat
2. If you dont want to put the work in, why are you bothering?

if you are 5'2", then keep doing what you are doing.... If you are 5'10+, I would recommend dropping the morning run and doing a single cardio session after the workout, no more than 3 times per week. You dropped a lot of weight, bu that is normal out of the gates. you will taper off, and plateau. The extra muscle will help you burn extra calories.
