I'll keep it short and sweet, /fit/.

Say, hypothetically, I used to be bulimic. And suppose I've stopped making myself throw up, but find it happening anyway. Is there any way to stop that, or at least cushion the damage until I can ask someone that isn't the internet?
If there's one useful post among the useless shit, I'll be amazed.

I'm going to see a doctor at some point, this is just until then. I don't need therapy, since the psychological part is gone and I'm not MAKING myself throw up. It's just happening.

I'm a guy, and I was manorexic for a long time, but I know from my bulimic friends/ED therapists/doctors/psychologists that vomiting can really really mess up your insides bad. I'm not exactly sure how to stop it as I never had the disorder, but I'd say try to willpower yourself from it. If you find yourself about to puke, go take a drink of water, or lie down, or go for a cool walk or something. Also try eating many many many little meals if you can't take in too much all at once.

Well it could be that you still have large portions of food when you should ease back into it to keep it down. If it was not too long ago that is.

heavily dilute your stomach's acid levels if you feel nauseous. A lot of water will help lower the level of acid present, so when you do vomit it will do less damage to your esophagus.
