I got a 220lb barbell set and going to do Starting Strength. Later on i'll buy heavyer weights but atm I'm 140lb 6'1 19age so it should last for a bit.

Hey /fit/ quick question, What should I buy first a Bench for doing bench press OR Squat stands so I can do heavy squats and overhead presses without cleaning it. The next month i'll buy the other one.

tl;dr Bench or squat stand.

Op here thats what I've been doing but I can't go that heavy and thats why I said.

My press is up to 80lb so I've been doing 90lb squats, and just adding a rep on each workout, untill my press goes up.

Alright guess you're right, I'll get the bench so I can get use to doing the exercise with propper form and start increasing the weight.
