/fit/, would creatine supplements be good to take on a normal diet that mainly lacks in Creatine from food such as meat etc?

I'm not talking about using it for athletics purposes, but in general. I have creatine monohydrate, but am wondering whether long term low dosages can damage (kidneys?) in the long run?

low dosages (3-5g a day on non workout days) will not hurt your kidneys unless you already have kidney problems.

if you're that worried, take beta-alanine instead.
