I have a problem /fit/

My right arm is much weaker than my left arm. I'm left handed btw. But I'm wondering if this is normal. I can't really do curls with dumbbells with my right arm unless I do my left arm simultaneously. Another thing is, that if I do a lat pull down (machine, I know, but still a concern in general) my right shoulder feels like its dislocating somewhat as I pull down. My left arm is fine. But it gets to a point where I'm unable to move my arm anymore because my shoulder has "locked"

So, could these two be related? And, is it normal for your nondominant arm to be significantly less stronger than your dominant?

To solve this... should I simply lift lighter weights with my right arm and more with my left?

You masturbate a lot don't you?

try not using the left arm for any lifting for a while, work the right as much as possible.

If I could I would. But I'm lacking the appendage.

But, not more than 3x a week. Plus I switch it up. Not the problem.

Sometimes with dumbbells it seems easier to lift with my left hand. Probably cause my right arm is exhausted from doing curls/etc etc.

So dont worry about it.

The left arm is usually stronger than the right one because its closer to the heart, or so they say.

Tell that to mine. I think it didn't get the memo.

Do barbell curls.
Move your hands further apart for pull downs. Or just do rows.

Yes, this is normal. Your best bet is to avoid exercises where you grip the same bar with both your hands at the same time and do the same exercises with dumbells or separated handles. The idea is that you want to push just as hard with both arms and when you fail with your right, stop the routine. Over the course of a couple months they should even out with each other.

OP here
So is it okay that I do curls with both my arms at the same time? Other wise, I wouldn't be able to do them at all with my right arm. Doing it along with my left arm appears to make things easier... iono why.

Sure, go ahead. Watch your form though, it's easy to lean into it or swing when you do both at the same time ;)
