Hey /fit/

I read a guide a few days ago about losing weight and it said that having 1 day of no limits to eat (as in eating what you wanted to eat but is actually bad for your weight losing) is okay.

My question is, do you guys do this? What particular day is best?

Thursday.

it keeps the cravings from getting too bad and you going crazy. but I would NEVER set aside a whole day to do that.... more like once in a while, when the cravings are really starting to talk.

Sunday is all you can eat at the best Thai place in town

Thai food means I "binge" on delicious shrimp, fish and low fat cutlets and fillets like chicken and beef, with plenty of vegetables and brown rice.

So my cheat days are actually pretty healthy. But to me there is nothing I'd rather eat on that Sunday then fresh Thai food.

I dunno about a cheat day, but it's good to have a cheat meal once in a while, throws your body off and helps kick your metabolism into gear, your body adapts and gets used to things so efficently, even eating clean 100% of the time. Once every two weeks have a pizza and a 6 pack of pilsner or whatever pleases you.

Like everyone's saying....a whole DAY is a terrible idea. It can totally undo a weeks worth of good nutrition.
A cheat meal rocks. Just try to make it lunch so you're not packing down 1500 calories right before bed.

As for when...it just depends. A lot of people do it on their rest days...but I prefer to do it the day before my rest day while my metabolism is still going strong from my morning workouts.
