Rest days

:(

I don't do them. I know it's bad for my body but I don't care. I think I'm addicted.

Yes, I will be taking this back to /fa/ with me, the lads will enjoy it...

I generally don't let myself do more than 5 consecutive days. It's a pain in the ass to just do nothing but I think overall training is harder with them than without.

I fucking hate rest days.

And I'm on Rippentoe so there's 4 rest days a week for fuck's sake.

I get ill on rest days

I have rest days when I'm really sore and actually don't feel like working out. On rest days I often go for a jog or something similar though, not just sit around on my ass all day

i used to love rest days

but now i hate them because they are the most boring days in my life

i try to take 2 a week now, last time i tried 1 a week i ended up going 18 days straight and pretty much burned out. my performance was so bad that i was literally beating myself up mentally and going into depression for not hitting my target reps or weight.

shit happens, take rest days or you'll go crazy

same, my front squat 1RM right now is 160#, mmy deadlift max is about 255#, my back squat is probably about 200# or so but I never tried a back squat 1RM as I prefer front squats a lot more

if your squat is more than your deadlift then your core muscles must be very weak compared to your legs, or you can't grip the weight enough
