hai fitizens. i've been doing weights for about a month now, 10kg bicep, tricep curls both at 3x20. and 4x10 pushups. i've noticed its become relatively easier over the time, and i've slowly increased the weight and reps. but the physical growth isn't noticeable. and i thought since it feels easier to do, that i would be putting on muscle noticeably. can you guys explain what is happening or why i can't see it?

inb4 fat covering muscle. i'm 6ft1 at 80kg. and its not fat.

tldr; workout not bringing results i expected.

Try higher weights with less reps and modified press ups.

e.g. 15kg at 8x5

what's happening is you're getting rid of fat, and building muscle under it. eventually the fat will be gone, and you'll start to see an increase in muscle size. just be patient, sometimes it takes a while. also, increase the weight more, and decrease the reps, that will build muscle strength, but not muscle endurance

one month isn't long enough to expect noticable gain, also the easier an exercise becomes the less it's working. Your body is awesome at adapting, you have to switch it up, add more weight, always push yourself
