Hey /fit/
I've been dieting for 6 weeks now. No soda, no fastfood, lots of fruit and veg, drink only water and vegetable juice, snack on nuts and tuna.
And doing stronglifts 5x5 for 2 weeks, slightly faster than suggested because I'm already kinda strong.
From this process I have lost 2 pounds. What am I doing wrong?
This is going from a life of no exercise and Burger King 5 days a week.
My BMR is 2477, but Stronglifts says I should be eating 4252 kcal daily. Which should I follow?

According to http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/ I have a BMR of 2477.32.

The calculation at the bottom of the Stronglifts 5x5 page gives me 4752. Subtracting 500 (Because I want to lose weight) gives me 4252.

Hey, I just finished a cycle on stronglifts. I had a restricted calorie diet but gained about 10 lbs. I think that since the rep amount is 5, it produces a mix of bulking and strength training.

I'm going to try going lower on the rep amount (down to 3 max). Maybe you should too if you just want to get stronger without the bulking.

I recommend trying the cambridge diet, my mates have tried it and lost 2-7 kilos in around 4-5 weeks time. It's not expensive seeing how you don't eat anything else during this period of time.. it tastes like shit after a while though.

It's not meant to be kept up for any longer than a few weeks but it does give you a good start at your weight loss.

Two of them who tried looked alot, I don't know, healthier afterwards or something. They simply had really clear faces without any zits, looked fresh.

- Btw, you don't train whilst being on this diet. As for what you're currently doing wrong, I don't know, are you training all the muscle groups?
