Height Anonymous
I've got a son who plays guard on the high school team and he's 15 and I would guess about 5ft 10. He hasn't started shaving regularly yet but he does trim it down about once a week or so. He's been obsessed with his height lately, I suspect because of a girl.

I myself am about 5ft 11 and my wife is about 5ft 3. Our kids look like they're going to be bigger than us though since our daughter is 11 and has been predicted to reach 5ft 9.

My question is: are there any foods that can help him grow taller and what foods should he avoid? He exercises a lot so that helps. Would vitamin supplements help? What kind of milk is better (full fat, added calcium etc)? I don't want anything too radical, but that is for me to judge so thrown in all your suggestions please! :)

Enough protein.
A lot of calcium.
A lot of sleep.

dunno if this is trolling or what, but my brother and I both drank a pint or two of half fat milk a day when we were young. We're both 6'6. My other brother didn't, and he's 6'3.

Probably just genes, but I just sayin'.

Eat right, and lots of calcium for healthy bones. Kids grow when they're sleeping.

I've never seen someone try so hard to cover up the fact that they're 15.

Don't forget lots of sunlight or supplemented Vitamin D, calcium is not taken up by the bones unless there is a good amount of Vitamin D present.

lol, 5' 10" isn't even short. Or atleast not for a girl unless you want to date an amazon. But 5' 10" is short for basketball so kiss your NBA dreams goodbye.

OP here. No way he is getting into the NBA anyway, I don't think.

Not a troll, not 15. It's not /b/, remember?

Then why did you bother to mention that you've started shaving? Underage B&, all of 4chan is 18+

Possibly to indicate amount of growth? If he was prepubescent he wouldn't have a problem.

That's true, still doesn't hurt to be tall though, right?

No, it doesn't, but there is no point in being concerned about it if you are tall or at least average height and it does hurt to have self esteem problems for no reason.
