Hey /fit/,

I'm genuinely not a troll, just a noob here that has been lurking for the past week. I've noticed a few terminologies here that are confusing to me. I have a slight understanding of them simply by context, but not a true meaning. If you could simply give brief descriptions that would be superb. So here is the newb list:

-HIIT: What does this stand for? High... something something training? I'm guessing?
-Cutting: what does this refer to?
-Deadlift: not exactly sure what this means either. I'm assuming lifting extremely heavy "dead" weights?
-_x_: 5x5, 3x12, etc. My assumption has been sets of reps. Like 5 sets of 5 reps/lifts/etc. so a total of 25 actions?

Sorry for the newb questions /fit/, but after this I will then know and STFU. Also, Google hasn't been my friend with it either.

for HIIT and Deadlift the FIRST RESULT on Google was relevant, and to get past the emofaggotry you just had to add fitness or something to the search terms for cutting

also yes 5x12 etc has to do with reps and sets
