THE SECRET Anonymous
Hey /fit/, I'm 185cm, look it up if you don't use the metric system look it up. A year ago I was 116 kilos or 255 pounds, now a year later and 2 months later I'm 65kilos or 165 pounds.
And do you want to know my secret? Drop all unhealthy foods, stop drinking soda, start drinking water eating vegetables and fruit and get some fucking exersice. It's called fucking willpower, and that's the Secret, if your fat and you just can't seem to lose that weight then you don't have enough of it.

WAS GONNA SAY 65 kilo..you would be 2cm taller and 10kg lighter. that would be fucking lean. Congrats though for doing it. Got any before after pics, always liked them.

192cm (6"3 I think)

jan 2007 - 130kg
august 2008 - 81kg

I'm gaining weight again though, but its muscle.

As a point of interest how did you start out? I went to the gym for a month but shit was very demotivating, I had a personal coach and I now know the guy was full of shit.

So I took up swimming for 6 months, lost the bulk of my weight that way and went running when I knew I wasn't putting any excess strain on my joints. Back in the gym since July, this time a lot more knowledgeable and prepared.

OP here. Started losing weight in my summer job and lost around 10 kilos. But when I went back to school I thought "Fuck I'm not going to gain that weight again" so I started to go to the gym and eat healthy. Now I go to Fitness Boxing 3 times a week and it's fucking great. Will try and find some pics for you.

Good job!

I have similar experience. I am male, 186cm and I was 110kg, now I am 90kg. Roughly a year ago I was on a vacation in Japan for month and I lost some 5kg there. I liked that very much and by cutting the junk food and sweets (I love sweets), when I returned home, I have lost the rest. And also by not overeating.

Nice job dude, my problem is I have half willpower. I go to the gym constantly but don't eat that well. I'm trying to fix that though, doing the six meal a day crap with no pop except for one or two on the weekends, we'll see how that goes.

OP here. In my case it was nearly all about changing my diet. But I couldn't just drop everything, I love to snack but you just have to find healthy substitutions for your unhealthy foods. Thankfully I love nearly all vegetables and fruit so it wasn't that hard, you just have to find something to replace the unhealthy foods with healthy foods that you like, the hardest thing was giving up Coke. I haven't had coke for half a year and I still have to fight the urge everyday, but it's totally worth it.

Martial arts are one of the fastest ways to get DA ULTIMATE BODY OLOLOLOL!!!11!1
Why sweat in the gym by just rising muscle mass, but while training fighting you get amazing reflexes, agility and even more strength than gymming. Am i rite?

It doesn't matter how much weight I lose, I have really bad loose skin from being fat.

I went from 275 to about 150 over the course of a little more than two years and my body is all fucked up from it. Maybe if I lose another 25-30 pounds it would fix the loose skin, but probably just make it worse cause I'd be at a BMI of like 15...

Oh well. I have a weight loss success story, but I'll never show pictures of it :p, I looked better fat I think.
