Sup /fit/, I'm looking to tone my stomach, it's slightly flabby now, but I want any excess gone. I could do crunches, but what other exercises are there as an alternative to crunches?

Do sit-ups. They'll tone you right up.

oh lmao

Crunching does not remove -anything-. You need to lose overall bodyfat.
>>227827Truth. If you want a six pack your body fat % needs to be 8-10%, for an 8 pack around 6%. Crunches and toning will make them look nice but only if you get your body fat down.
>>227087You cant burn fat on a specifik area.Sure do all the crunches you can, but make sure to take long speed-walks, swim or any other cardio for your fat% to drop.
my father is an avid cyclist. He has skinny, sinewy tanned legs like an athlete. But he still has a huge gut. There must be some cardio thats better suited to some parts of the body than others.
>>227880No, not really. Endurance athletes tend to have some of the shittiest "athletic" bodies around. You need to lift weights.
