Hey /fit/ I want to do pull up at home. Can you recommend me a good removable pull up bar? Only problem is I'm living at someone else house right now so I can't set up anything permanent.

I've seen these type of pull up bars at wallmart and some other stores but I'm afraid of damaging the door frame. Anyone have a pull up bar of similar design?

How long would these things last?

I havent had mine for too long, but it seems fairly sturdy. Be carefull not to over-tighten the nuts on the bolts that pass thru the plastic part, it strips easily.

Do NOT get any that don't screw into the wall or otherwise use some hardware to attach. No matter how you twist those curtain-rod style pullup bars, they are NOT secure enough and will drop you on the back of your fucking head.

And yes, I was stupid enough to try it.

shit, then I'm screwed (no pun intended).

make your own. Screw it into baseboards, use a thick steel pipe for the bar.
