Zup /fit/ - Right, I stated this '100 push up challenge' yesterday. I'm just wondering how I should incorporate it into my existing workout.Should I do this push up thing 3 days a week like it recommends, cut out chest/arms from my workout [as to not over train] and keep everything else the same?Or just focus on the push ups for now and keep my diet going as to not risk over training any other muscle groups.Or something different? HALP.
Alternatively, don't do it at all because it's ultimately fucking pointless.
>>405944Why is it pointless? This is the first time I've actualy been able to feel my chest getting a propper workout. So whyyyy not do it faggot?I think the whole '100' thing is bullshit. I just want to train my chest well as It's lacking.
It's for endurance it won't build you any significant mussels
Just BP, the higher you max on BP, the higher the quantity of push-ups you can doi started with 20 pushups the most, then i started BP, never did a push up, now i could do 90 push ups non-stop
if you feel that your chest is getting a proper workout then just do it. its all that matters. no need to do pench presses for 2 years just beacause someone else feels it as a proper chest workoutand fuck up your shoulders.
>>405965But I can never feel my muscles working as well bench pressing. This made my chest area ache the morning after much more than if i'd have done bench presses. Would combining them be quite productive?
>>405966Agreed.
>>405969i would use bench press only as a measure of progress and not as a workout if you are having problems feeling your chest while doing it. Otherwise youll just end up with constant shoulder problems and bad posture due over delevoped front shoulders. theres a large variation of pushups you can do. check out scoobys 60min chest workout for a great example workout http://www.scoobysworkshop.com/bigMenDoCry.htmYou should also try dips and see if they work for you
