Hey /fit/. Where can I buy Pollen? I'd really like to try some as I've heard it is a "super food". Very nutritious and I've heard... it tastes good too. I looked all over the nutrition, health food, supplement, vitamin sections of the local supermarket and couldn't find it. I even looked by juices and by Honey. No dice. Where can I find this elusive item?

search for royal jelly.

Bee Pollen: is regularly used for strength and endurance. It has been used successfully to treat a variety of ailments including allergies, asthma, menstrual irregularities, constipation, diarrhea, anemia, low energy, cancer, rheumatism, arthritis and toxic conditions. Bee pollen contains 22 amino acids including the eight essential ones, 27 minerals and the full gamut of vitamins, hormones and fatty acids. Most importantly, bee pollen contains more than 5,000 enzymes and coenzymes. It is the presence of enzymes, many of which have immediate detoxifying effects.

Royal Jelly: rich in protein, vitamins B1, B2, B6, C, E, niacin, pantothenic acid, biotin, inositol, and folic acid. It is know to help with bone fractures, kidney disorders, bronchial asthma, pancreatic disorders, stomach ulcers, insomnia, skin disorders, mental fatigue, anemia, and depression. It is also know to support organs and body systems. Controversial in use since it is invasive to the hive to collect. I recommend using only in extreme deficiency or for short periods of intense stress. I have experimented with Royal Jelly and from personal experience found it to be a powerful tonic food that could dramatically improve mood, energy and immune response under intense stress.

Not just any bee jelly friend, it is the bee jelly that the queen feeds to larvae that she wants to become other queens instead of workers. Thus, it is a hormonal fucking freakfest!
>> Anonymous
>>245424
Royal Jelly gets fed to every larvae. However larvae destined to be a queen are only fed royal jelly and a much larger amount of it.

My parents have had bee pollen in pill form around non stop for over 8 years now. When I still lived with them they would encourage me to take it often when I would start to feel sick. I can't really say I felt anything, but I never really ever got full on flu's or more than a few days of cold symptoms.

>>245473
So they use it like some people use Vitamin C Tablets?
>> Anonymous
>>245645
Yeah like idiots use Vitamin C tablets. If one more person tells me they over load on Vitamin C when they are sick I'm gonna lose it.
>> Anonymous
What about raw cacao? I've heard that that is the most nutritious food on Earth.
>> Anonymous
>>245645
That works fine with bee pollen, but vitamin C is water soluble, thus fail.
>> Anonymous
>>245657

Wrong. Megadoses of vitamin C are the only way it works. If you get a cold you can nuke it by taking 20,000 mg.
>> Anonymous
>>246094
Wrong Wrong, puny doses like that will do nothing. You need to take at least 200,000g to seea any results. Double up if neccesary.
>> Anonymous
>>246150
So you want us to take 200kg of vitamin C when we are sick? I dont even weigh 100kg, you are retarded.
>> Anonymous
>>246154
You are puny. What kind of sick man sends BABIES to post on /fit/

>> Anonymous

treat ? but i'm allergic to uh pollens I suppose. How does that work
>> Anonymous
>>247318
If you took small doses over time you might lose your allergy. Most allergy treatments that are not just Claritins involve exposing you to what you are allergic to.

>>247420
so basically can immunity be built against everything bad if taken in small enough quantities? course i'm absolutely positive there's some stuff that no amount is safe but i'm dumb.

I would just like to point out that joking aside loading up on a shit ton of Vitamin C is totally healthy. As long as it fits in your stomach you are probably good to go.
>> Anonymous
>>249486
I wouldn't say it's fully healthy although it is a water soluble vitamin. Loading up on 1 type of vitamin or mineral can affect how your body absorbs others.
>> Anonymous
>>249499
Yeah it blocks all the ones that cause colds and causes the cold fighting ones to be super absorbant. Vitamin C is a miracle cure! Hurble dur!
>> Anonymous
>>249545
It's one thing if you're sick, take some emergenc. Other wise you don't need 1000% of the daily.

pollens for bees not for humans. you aren't a bee

Most of you are just wasting your money your body cant absorb that much Vitamin C so you are basically just throwing it away.

Because there's no such thing as "detoxifying". It's bullshit.

i agree with this person, i read a credible article calling out the bullshit of 'detoxifiers'

Healthfood store. Not the grocery store or a supermarket, but a store specifically designed to carry weird shit like that.
