/fit/, i need some encouragement
or at least some motivation

i just picked up running, and each day i add on a minute.
i'm still slow, going at around 4 - 5 miles ph, but it keeps my heart rate up and i'm steadily getting better at handling my breath.
today i was supposed to run 14 minutes (i know, i know, pussy) and each time i set a goal for running, i always follow through
this time though, tonight, i only got to 11 and a half minutes before i had to stop and i'm pretty angry at myself.
has this ever happened to you? where you just can't finish some days, and it's just way too much? or am i just a wimp?

Take breaks in your routine or you'll tire yourself out.

Either take a day off, or go lift some weights or something, once you get better you can run nonstop but you'll destroy your legs starting off stressing them so much.

What else did you differently today? Did you eat less? Did you sleep less? Also adding a minute each day might be a bit too much. Arbitrary number is arbitrary.

i usually take one day a week off, and after that i'm usually not able to stop running, because i really like to, but sometimes it just gets boring/painful. lol

ehh, both, i guess.
not at home enough to eat a decent meal and 4 hrs of sleep

but if i don't add a minute each day, i kind of feel like i'm just stuck in the same spot and am not progressing, so i get impatient
