Alright, /fit/. About six years ago, I weighed 257 pounds. Well, I lost the weight too quick (over 6 months or so?) and now I have baggy skin, mostly on my abdomen. I weigh about 180 - 190 pounds now. What can I do to rid myself of this excessive flesh?

Pic unrelated.

I know how to minimize the baggy skin pre/during weightloss now. I just want to know what I can do to get rid of it post-weightloss.

Seriously, do I have to get surgery? Fuck. I can't afford that shit. Somebody please help.

certainly better than the alternative, which is gaining all the weight back.

Does that really work? Also, can you give me a rough estimate of how much the surgery would cost?

no idea, probably expensive, and it will definitely leave some nasty scars. if you ask me it's not really worth it.

What else can I do, guys? ;_; Anything?

Cost depends on what country you're in and your level of health insurance.

Ausfag here, lost 80kg. Got my surgery scheduled for March next year for my middle, we'll see how well I recover from that before setting plans for removing the excess from my arms/legs.

I have top level insurance (which I plan to drop as soon as the work is done) so the surgery costs me nothing, but without it it would have been around AU$10k to get my middle done.

Also, I'm asking not to bother saving and relocating my bellybutton - why preserve and relocate a scar just because we're born with it?

cause you're going to look pretty freaky without a belly button.

So no one has successfully "filled" their loose skin with muscle to make it go away?

yup, lost just of half my total body weight over 16 months :D havent weighed in this small since I was about 14 (massively fat my whole life)

Thats not physically possible, you know. Wait 8-12 months and a lot of it will tighten up again.... but if you're as huge as I was it'll never tighten up enough to not look hideous.

are you sure this guy isn't just trying to sell his book?
it would be great to see pics and stories of people (both men and women) who have lost more than 100lbs/45.45kg and got rid of their loose skin.

i haven't seen any yet.

oh yea i have filled mine to a good degree.....just a shit-load of working out i mean when your bag and thighs and abdomen and everything starts to get bigger it helps.....i actually had to stop jogging so much because i was addicted to it and just lift weights for a while recently because i kept just burning the muscle off when i was jogging.........but i first jogged and jogged and jogged and ate just protein and low carbs and not even much protein for a while like 100grams a day with 30 grams of carbs and just got myself as lean as possible and then i started to build up from there........
