6'1. 185 pounds. Not drastically overweight (for my height, I should weigh about 175~180, right?), but I still have some flab around my stomach and chest. It's a pain in the ass, too, because I've been running for maybe 2 weeks and doing pushups, dumbell squats, situps, and eating *relatively* healthy. However, I've yet to see any drastic signs of change.

I don't even CARE about muscles all that much. I just wanna lose the fat. Although it doesn't seem to be moving.

So, /fit/, sorry to add to the threads of HELP ME LOSE WEIGHT, but what should my intake of food be? Running alone should help me lose fat, but it doesn't mean anything if I don't change my diet. I mean, hell, I just had Ramen Noodles and chocolate for lunch. That can't be good.

Oh and an apple, but still...

How much running? And how many pushups, situps, and squats have you been doing?

On average I run about 25~30 minutes a night. 2 sets of 25 pushups and situps. Squats I do 2 sets of 15.

Do moar. Lots more. If you want to lose 5 lbs you really have to work hard, especially if you're already that skinny. I'm 5'10 and 190 lbs and I run on average 2 hours a day and do around 200-300 pushups a day. Add weight to the squats if you can't run because your legs get tired. Also, are you running till you're out of breath, or do you just stop running because you think that 25-30 minutes is sufficient?

Shed a tear.

I suppose I could do more, but I'm pretty damn tired by the end of the day. Still, no excuse. Maybe I should up the ante, although I find losing the weight much more important than gaining muscle mass.

It's usually just what I find sufficient. I run for about 4 or 5 minutes straight, then walk quickly until I'm able to go again. I basically just run around my neighborhood until I wind up at my house again and it's usually 25~30 minutes.

Hmmm, typing it out like this sort of makes me realize how lacking in dedication I am.
