So /fit/, I'm a skinny 5'6 120 lb guy who had planned on seriously packing on some muscle over summer now i'm home from college. I've lurked /fit/ for a while and the first part of the recipe seems to be EAT.

However this first stumbling block seems to be the hardest for me. My stomach only seems to be able to hold so much food. Any more than an average three meals a day seems to be more than i can handle and i end up feeling too bloated to exert myself in any meaningful way. Is there any way to increase the amount of food my stomach can hold or increase the speed at which food passes through it?

Protein shakes before and after exercises and bulk up on pasta. Once i lose my weight i dont plan on piling on muscle, only a little to even out any loose skin and for definition.

If you cant eat that much just split your meals into 6 a day.

I can pack in enough protein no problem, it's the calories I can't do. I was mainly doing this because I intend to start either boxing or Jiu Jitsu when the next somester starts as they both look incredibly fun.

You can try switching to gainers instead of regular protein shakes, and doing at least 3 per day, that should help.

I'm mildly apprehensive about taking most of my calories AND protein through supplements. This is probably just consumer fear over UNNATRUAL HSSSSSSSS food. Is there any danger or downside to consuming what i need this way?

I think you just have to split it into 6 meals and start to love food. You need a gradual build up of your food, i reduced my food intake and i now find it sifficult to eat the same amount as before.

I don't see why it should be a problem, as long as you get all the essential vitamins, minerals and fibers your diet.
