If someone is working out (which is implied by "cheat days") then why can't they just enjoy a small amount of delicious tasting food? He's not saying pig out on everything you want, is he? While healthy foods taste good (no argument there) some foods just taste damned good and will never stop tasting bad. I can attest to exercise and diet changing your like for different foods. The last time I had McDonalds was about two months ago, and it was so greasy I vomited in their bathroom.

I think the real problem here for you guys talking about loving cheat days is that your bodies haven't adapted to the health thing yet. The point to where the bad foods don't satisfy you. It took a while for me to get there but it happened gradually.

MCDONALDS IS SHIT. so is most fast food. those are not good "cheat" foods unless you really really like something there for some reason.

the only reason i say this is mostly bullshit is because after a year without soda, i still crave it and still enjoy it whenever i allow myself to have it (which is not very often.) the only thing i've grown to dislike is doritos. it smells like feet to me now, except for ranch. i still like those.

For a month I cheated every Friday.

I lost the weight I needed to lose every week. I like to think it kicks my metabolism's ass to eat like that every week, but regardless if it does or not I lost weight.

I recommend at least trying it.

Also, fuck moderation. Change what you eat, not how much of it. The latter got me no where.

Another way to look at it is that protein+fat make up more than 65% of the total energy present in the pizza, so realistically speaking, for certain kinds of diets it isn't too bad. I mean, if you're lacking in fat for the day, you could do a lot worse than that.
