Fuck being fat.

216. 6'4".

I want to lose weight. I ate about 1500 calories a day in the last month, but the returns aren't enough anymore.. So what do I do? I try and try to do cardio, but the shit is so boring I can't do it for longer than 5 minutes..

and onto weight lifting... my arms have such little strength that I can't do more than 3 pushups before getting owned, so I don't think I'm ready to be lifting weights.. I'm-a thinkin just doing as many pushups/situps as possible, and maybe doing some jumping jacks inbetween?

but i rly wanna get to 190 by june, and in the last month i've lost like 2-3 pounds so what the fuck do I do. HALP!

Stop fucking pussying out and go do some cardio. Jesus christ.

Wow. My fat girlfriend can do more push-ups than you. Achieve upper body strength not that of a 7 year old boy, then come back, because I don't think anyone here can help you right now.

I have exactly what you need OP. Before each meal, religiously, do five pushups. Seriously, if you can't knock out five, maybe you need to see a doctor.

Once you are able to do five proper pushups per meal with ease, up it to ten. Once you're at the point where that is easy I'd normally recommend doing 5 pullups and 10 pushups but that doesn't seem likely.

OP here, I pushed myself like a bitch and got to 10, but it was not an easy thing :(

When I do pushups I do them quiet slowly and draw out every movement, I always thought that was better for muscle development.. should I continue to do that, or do the quick pushups that most people do?

canvas all the local gyms at 'peek' time, find the one with the hottest girls, always pick the tread mill in the back, start running and look at a girls ass the whole time.

Exercise isn't suppose to be a walk in the park.

There are other ways to do cardio than jumping on a treadmill or jogging.

Is there a sport that you enjoy? Basketball, soccer, raquetball, anything where you move around and breathe can be a source of cardio training.

Run three miles a day, that's 12 laps at the highschool track, or give yourself a place to run to so you're not bored. Download a new band you've been listening to via a torrent and listen to it on your iAIDS.

Unless, I guess you exercise by walking in the park.

Go to this site, do the 5x5 for beginners program. stronglifts.com

LEARN TO COOK AND EAT HEALTHILY. you should probably eat around 2500 or so healthy calories so that you can build muscle while burning fat. some cardio for extra burning on the weekends is a good idea too.

Building muscle will add weight, however, it will also increase your caloric demands, which means your body will automatically burn more calories while resting than if you did not have these muscle. Burning more calories=burning more fat. This means you get strong and skinny. yay strong and skinny. only thing is you need a gym membership where they have a power rack. do not use machines. the end

If you can manage it, try doing High Intensity Interval Training. It's recommended to be between 10-15 minutes and is hailed to be the best cardio for losing weight.

To start off with, try doing a decent amount of pushups each day (maybe 8-10 for you) and your strength will grow exponentially. Yeah, slow and steady is better; people only do them fast because they're impatient!

some good information over here

be sure you ingest a decent amount of protein every day, to assist in muscle growth. stop taking in anything with high fructose corn syrup or other very sugary items. try to cut down on fatty things with little nutrition (avoid fast food places, try not to eat out so much).
fruits and vegetables are always good. eating 4-5 smaller meals a day (as opposed to 3 squares) will help boost your metabolism a bit. you'll probably be hungry all day, but you gotta deal with it. if you buy things that are chewy it helps fool your body. i like celery with some light ranch dressing. meals with brown rice and some meats or berries are usually filling (rice is a filler, after all).

as for the pushup thing... just deal with it. i go with what arnold says and do as many as you can, then do five more. so when it starts burning and it's hard to go on, just push yourself and do five on top of that. by the end of that five, you shouldn't be able to move =P give yourself a minute break, then move on to a different muscle group for a little while.

drink plenty of water. 90oz a day, at least. 120oz if you're working out.

tv back on... lost my train of thought... back to tv...

remember guys you don't want to be the creepy guy at the gym. so always stay in the back row ( on the tred) and if you're lifting always look at gym ass by using mirrors.
