/fit/... I am... troubled.

So I've been dieting for the past 50 or so days, doing 30 min casual workouts daily. On my diet I consume 1800 ~ 2000 calories a day (oatmeal n fruit breakfast, salad or pasta lunch/dinner, fruit or pretzels as snacks). No fast food, no candy, no sodas. I'm 5'3" currently 254lbs (fat as fuck I know, that's why I'm dieting). Workouts are either riding bike for 35 ~ 40 mins (its a 6 mile round trip) or doing DDR when its hot as fuck outside (25 ~ 30 mins, all Heavy 7 ~ 10 foot songs).

I started at 281, and was losing, like, 5lbs a week (fuck year!) and this past week FUCKING WALL. Monday 53.3 lbs, Tuesday, 53.1 (Hm, just 0.2 lbs its usually drops 0.7 ~ 0.9 lbs a day), Wednesday, 53.3lbs (WTF), Thursday 53.8 lbs (60 NIGGERS). I've been weighing my self in the same pajamas every night at roughly 9:00pm (right after I shower from doing biking/ddr) and I haven't eaten anything out of the ordinary, just the same stuff I've been eating the past 8 weeks.

You hit the wall huh? Now you just need to lose the water weight (dehydration) and donate a lot of blood. Get rid of your teeth and maybe get lightweight dentures. Cut calorie intake to about 1200.

If I had gone a whole week and weight myself and found out I had gained a pound (instead of loosing 5 like I normally do) I would have said to myself fuckit, diet doesn't work, pass the goddamn doritos. It's like my drive to keep going, push harder, and who knows, I might start weight training one of these days (eye glimmer).

start weight training. get over the fact that you're going to be sore and gain pounds. adding some muscle is one of the best things you can do. i'm not saying go crazy and bulk up (since fatty muscle looks terrible), but do lots of reps. also, lots and lots of legs. biggest muscles, so they have the best return.

Whats happening is your body is adjusting to your new fitness. You need to work out for 10 minutes longer and cut your diet 200 calories further. Eat only lean proteins, and no pretzels, they have a shitton of salt. This should last you a long time.

OP is 5'3" and 254lb, even walking is a workout at that height/weight.

OP - stop this daily weigh-in bullshit. Your weight varies day to day, i checked mines once a few months ago and it was 5lb heavier the following day. Weigh yourself first thing when you wake up, not when you go to sleep as i said above your weight varies day to day. Try dropping your carb intake and increase the intensity of your cardio and add in weight training, without dicking around with light weights.

You shouldn't bother continuing to lose weight if this is your current attitude. But that's just my opinion.

You want to lose weight, go do HIIT.

Riding your bike for 40 minutes is ok, but you better be pushing yourself and not riding the bike like a pussy.
