Coffee before a workout.[Good/Bad]
I dont see why not...caffiene will make you more active
bump
I would have to say bad, but I'm completely not certain.
Coffee is a diuretic. Chug double the amount of the coffee you drink, in water, before you start your workout. Otherwise, it's good -- a bit of sugar, and some caffiene to get you going.
I've heard that it slightly reduces gains, but I don't know how credible the source is.And shit, whatever gains are reduced, you should make up for with increased intensity.I drink 1-2 cups before I lift.
Caffeine blunts blood flow to heart during exercisea simple google search does wonders
green tea is better :/
>>36522blunts?
coffee is for fags, enjoy needing coffee every morning because you're addicted. just get your fucking diet in order if you need "to get started" in the morning. faggots.
im talking like 30+ oz of coffee before a workout.
I've heard stories of people running in the marathon stage of the ironman taking caffine at mile 16 for that little extra boost.
caffeine a few minutes before a workout is a godsend. lots of people that I train powerlifting with will drink an energy drink while training.I personally take caffeine pills about 20 minutes before I lift.
>>36712>>36711just what I wanted to hear!(also, this sounds crazy, but 30 mins into the workout when you burp from actually have digested the coffee the smell is awesome. coffee + bananas omfg good)
>>35990I fucking love coffee but it sometimes gives diarrhea. Not a risk that I would want to take when lifting heavy weights.I'm probaly the only person with a coffee allergy. It's like life itself hates me.
Dependence = bad
If it gets you motivated, it's good.
Just make sure its black coffee with no sugar, otherwise it will be working against you from the extra calories
when I drink coffee it is 30% skim milk + tons of sugar or sweet-n-lowmedium-dark folgers. about 30 oz total
>>36745Drink gobs of green tea. Still stimulates you, and is cheap.
