You should go see a doctor or a dermatologist, they'd know. As far as polysporin goes, if yours is even close to that bad I doubt it would do anything.
I went on Accutane for 6 months, cleared it all up, but you may have to go on it for longer (maybe 18 months, don't know) depeneding on how bad it is. Work out, always change/wash your pillowcase, every night, wash your face twice a day and always dry it off with a fresh cloth or towel. Also, don't touch your face unless you washed your hands. Basically, don't let anything dirty touch your face. You probably need a referal form a GP to see a dermatologist, but check around.
If it's really bad, Polysporin won't do anything except maybe clog your pores. Also, don't put cremes on your face, those clog pores. (unless you need to) I wash with Spectro Gel, works really well for me.
I haven't heard anything good about oxyclean but if it works for you then whatever.
