/fit/ you can answer some health questions too, right?

I am a 19 year old wimminz who first started getting her period at 10. However, I have never had a monthly schedule. I have always gotten my period only every 3-6 months. I am sexually active now, but use condoms and birth control, and again, this has always happened to me.

Is there something wrong with me?

probably. Are you very athletic or thin? Or very fat?

I'm no vag doctor nor do I own a vag, but from my very little knowledge it should be monthly and if it's not then you're really skinny.

Go to a doctor. They know shit and got stuff to put in your vag. I got stuff to put in your vag but they won't solve the problem.

If OP is an athlete it's called Female Athlete Triad. It's most common with runners.

Another possibility is you're anorexic.

if you're on BC,it should regulate your period, shouldn't it? do you not get your period when you take the sugar pills?

you may have high testosterone for a chick. female athletes often have irregular or nonexistant periods. exercise raises your testosterone levels, even aerobic like running/biking.

birth control pills can "right" your hormone balance. many women take them just to reduce pms.

ask your gynecologist. and get as much calcium as you can. put a drop or two of milk or orange juice in anything with caffiene in it. caffiene dissolve calcium from your muscles and bones.
