The Baby Food Diet
What are your thoughts?
I have to lose 50lbs by May 31st.
Right now I'm consuming 200-500 calories a day.
I think the little pots would be a lot more convenient that having to measure out my food.
I'm a 6'1" tall male.

If I'm consuming only 200-500, but supplementing properly, I don't see how its 'retarded'. Exercise creates a deficit of energy by burning calories, so either way, a deficit is a deficit. When all vitamins, minerals, protein, and fiber are accounted for, how can this be a problem?

Yeah you definitely need to eat more calories.

Severely restricting like that only slows down your metabolism so that when you do go off the diet (unless you really plan on eating baby food for the rest of your life) you will gain all the weight back plus more.

This. I say increase caloric intake, and if you still want to eat baby food, eat it every three hours with enough food to get your calories up to at least 1500 a day AT THE VERY MINIMUM. Your BMR will decrease so much on just 500 calories a day that your body will think that it is starving and start to cannibalize itself.

I did the same and have lost over 20kg through just eating a small amount each day. when you have lost some weight try running, and maybe do situps and pushups to reduce muscle wasteage.
