ATG SQUATS Anonymous
How many of you anons actually do them? the pussy smith machine does not count.
>> Anonymous
I do them. As long as you do the appropriate weight, the only reason not to go the whole way down is you dont want to work harder.

I used to, but I figured why bother going to deep if I'm trying to work my quads and not my hams so much. Now I just do them a bit past parallel.

I started it yesterday and my lower back and thighs are nice and sore. Also my ass hurts.

This normal?

I do squats, but I think I'm barely passing parallel and my knees are suffering for it so much so that today I've started to consider giving up on squats.

On my next weight day (tuesday), I'll play with getting true ATG ones, though. Maybe record my form for the internet to critique as well.

Yeah, it's normal. That happened to me the days after I first started squating.

If you aren't able to walk well, it's normal also.

I ATG squat 1-2 times a week. The entire first year I worked out, nothing happened to my upper body.
I was a real n00b and only trained upperbody, ofc I got stronger - but nothing seemed to happen - my body never got more muscle..

My mentor kept telling me to squat.. And finally I began squatting twice a week and then my upper body came as well.

I usually ATG squat 5x5x110kg once or twice a week
