There are dangers associated with eating raw fish, but I assume your relatives know how to avoid that or they'd be dead by now. If you consume no meat, you need to make sure you get enough protein and B vitamins, which can be very difficult on a vegetarian diet, so I suggest you take a one-a-day type of vitamin and if you don't have meat or eggs, try to have beans and brown rice once a day. Your gut may rebel for a while, especially if you're accustomed to a diet of French fries and pizza, but it will all work out in the end.
