Learn as much as you can about logic and critical thinking, Learn all the logical fallacies and cognitive biases. It won't increase your RAW PROCESSING SPEED or whatever but you will be smarter in other ways.
But yeah, concentration is just as important as being smart. You will do better at everything if you focus on it, and that includes thinking.
And try to keep learning new stuff out of school. Pick, say, one subject a week, just anything that interests you, a historical event, or whatever. Then review it a few times in the following weeks. The key to remembering stuff is to review it. If you just read a wikipedia article every day you won't remember stuff very well.
There is also a lot of stuff you can do to prevent your intelligence from deteriorating with age. Don't do shit that kills your brain cells, eg. consistently skipping a lot of sleep, heavy drinking.
