yes you could lose weight but at the same time if you under eat you'll lose muscle mass, which is bad. The best thing to do is work out maybe 3 times a week. I just had this talk with my gf she want to lose weight but not workout so much, so I had to explain that the best way to lose fat is to run, she a little big not like huge or anything but got some extra weight. so im gona say the same thing i told her, best thing is to run if your to large to run start with walking and leg excises to build leg strength, then jog a little, then jog a lot. Tl:Dr yes you can but if done wrong it can hurt your body, running is best if you cant run do to weight read above.
