I continue to lose weight with a good mix of weights, cardio and diet, but I was looking for some tips that I could do to make sure i'm making my mid-section (core?) as small as possible, other than situps, crunches and reverse situps. Any tips?

To fix that problem you need to keep cutting and then do a clean bulk.

in contrast to all the retarded relies above, I'll try and give you some advice: The only way to get rid of your belly, is to start running a lot (3 times a week) on a slow tempo, for a long time (at least 30 minutes)
Doing exercises for abs at that place won't do anything about your fat ovethere

Two-times marathon runner and former obese pile of shit here. Start running, go to www.runnersworld.com and make yourself a program, just be careful in the beginning so you dont overtrain (Just got shin splints myself a week a ago). If you can clock 20 miles a week you will start seeing results in short time. Personally i love chocolate more than my own children, but since i run so much i can eat whatever the fuck i want to. All the more power to you if you want to keep eating healthy tough. If, after a few of weeks you decide that running isnt half bad, you can motivate yourself by signing up for a half-marathon or maybe just a 10k, if you feel like it. Guaranteed to impress friends and family.
