I need some advice /fit/
I've had eczema behind my left ear almost all my life, I've learned to manage it with hydrocortisone cream.
The problem is, I seem to be developing it on my face now. Its across my eyelids and the hydrocortisone(any sort of lotion really) burns enough that I'd rather keep the eczema. Except I really would like it gone if possible.
Anyone have any ideas?

yeah me too. i get it on the back of my lower neck in this pretty big patch so i try to wear collared shirts a lot. it used to be much worse, all over my arms and legs when i was a kid.

to treat, my parents have tried all sorts of chinese herbal things (inb4weeaboo, im chinese) but what seemed to help me the most back then was eucerin or cetaphil. or something i think you can get in most chinese herb places called zambuk but not sure.

Don't worry, I'm a eczema leper too.

Anyway, somewhere I read that eczema is an allergic reaction to either something you've eaten or something that you come in contact with. Most common culprit on the ingestion side is dairy and wheat. Most common on contact is lotions and detergents. Start there?

I stopped eating dairy a while ago and mine hasn't come back since.

I have some eucerin. I hadn't tried it since trying some fragrance free face lotion my mom has left me temporarily blinded and crying like a bitch.
Now I truly understand all those keep away from eye area warnings. Shit is sensitive as hell.

My little sister had this.

My mother put emu oil on it twice daily, it got rid of it.

I don't know if this is a coincidence or not.

It might be something you're eating.

I dropped caffeine, sugars, and starches from my diet and my scalp eczema stopped bugging me along with a host of other problems.

agreeing with these sentiments

fiddle around with your diet to see what might be triggering your reactions. my eczema broke out crazily whenever I ate cereals and breads

hell, at least I lost a lot of weight

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF allergies. Could be anything then. I did catch my mom washing my towels with Downy(fucking allergic as hell to it) that could be it, but the one behind my ear only flares when I'm really stressed/tired/sick(I don't even have it right now)

I cut down on dairy, but it just seems to help me not have a head full of snot. Outside of that, last time I was tested for food allergies I was 6.
Milk, wheat, soy, peanuts, oat, eggs. Soy is fatal, so I don't touch that shit, but hell I get my flu shot with no issue.
Why do tasty things hate me?
