since i've been taking some multi vitamins with magnesium and zinc my pee is all bright yellowish (kinda like flourescent yellow)

I don't feel bad or anything but i can't really

sleep more than 6 to 7 hours.

is all this normal?

I've heard its because of the magnesium

the label reads

Vitamin C (as Calcium Ascorbate)300mg
Nutrient/Herbal Powder Base260mg
(Providing Alfalfa, Rosehip Extract, Citrus Bioflavonoids, Rutin, Siberian Ginseng, Echinacea Purpurea Root, Suma Root, Spirulina, Lecithin, Dong Quai, Oat Fibre, Parsley,Watercress, Hesperidin Complex, Guar Gum)

Bright yellow pee is usually caused by a flushing of excess water-soluble vitamins, most commonly B-vitamins.

Whenever I take my multi, within the next couple of hours, my urine is dayglo yellow, regardless of how much water I drink.

you're peeing out the minerals your body isn't using

Dude, very rarely will you have to take multivitamins- pretty much all the recommended daily intakes of vitamins are in the food you eat (unless you are anorexic).

If you're not overdosing on the pills, then there's no reason to stop. You're just flushing out the excess when you urinate anyways.

Just don't depend on them for your needs, it's better to get it through fresh fruits and vegetables (and meats, whatever) than from the pill.
