I think I'm a little confused by all the info about squat form I've been reading on the Internet. Is that supposed to be my bottom position in a squat or that's just a stretch exercise? The width of the stance I assume when I stretch like that is too wide and I can't really squat deep like that. I do better with a narrower stance. On the other hand, I've read that people with long legs need a wider stance. Is that for people with long legs period or for people with long legs compared to their torso? (I'm have a long body, not just my legs)
A.) People have different body types.B.) People have different body types.C.) People have different body types.See, A, then B, then C.
>Is that for people with long legs period or for people with long legs compared to their torso? (I'm have a long body, not just my legs)Just do what feels right really...
Does someone here use this stretch exercise to determine his squat bottom position?
>>482305I can get lower when I have 120kg on my back...
>>482312You probably think you're getting lower, but in fact are doing partials.
>>482317No I'm too self concious about my squat form to do that.I don't go rock bottom in the heaviest squats though. Because I'm a pussy... Too afraid of the rounding lower back. (fucked up my back in the deadlift some time ago) and the lack of spot and safety bars makes it dangerous. Less time and space to get the fuck out from under the bar.I always go beyond parallel to ground.193cm, 85kg
