The best way to spot reduce (i.e. tone) is a mixture of using machines, staying away from squats and deadlifts, doing cardio (without HIIT), visiting crossfit.com, abstaining from oats and other high-carbohydrate foods, eating three large meals a day without snacks, drinking pop, taking in the daily recommended level of protein, and NOT doing stronglifts or any kind of 5x5 routine.
