Hey /fit/, I'm the guy who posted the thread asking about the coca-cola the other day.

Since then, I've been eating smaller meals more frequently - stuff like cheese sandwiches and rice and hash meat, coupled with bottles of water and diet ginger ale.

Now, my question is: what kinds of food are good for you, and what kind are bad? I know the obvious stuff like hamburgers are bad and broccoli is good, but other then that I'm kind of lost. Is having two slices of toast with cream cheese bad for you? Is having a bowl of rice and hash meat with soy sauce good for you?

This morning I had a bowl of cheerios with a banana sliced up into it, with an orange and a bottle of water for breakfast. Now, I would think this is good, but I remember hearing that oranges have a lot of sugar and can be bad for you or something so I'm not sure.

halp, /fit/

just calculate the amount of calories you have in a day and see if you're going over.

Fuck. Oranges aren't bad for you, wtf. Orange juice is what people were saying to stay away from as it is the equivalent of soda.

Eat oranges. They don't have that many fucking calories. And just watch the glycemic index and you'll be fine.

Going over what, exactly? I told you I don't know much.

google bmr calculator and see what you burn. don't go over that amount, and you'll be fine. of course, some calculators don't incorporate exercise, which you would have to do manually.

ultimately, see what works for you. if you don't see yourself gaining weight after following a normal regime for a month or two, you're obviously doing something right.
