First dosage today, 2 scoops. Disappointed. Didn't do shit. I've tried NOXplode (shit) Armageddon (shit) and many other things. People tell me to get SP250 but that's damn expensive.

Anyone else tried this and maybe upped their dosage to 2 1/2? I have yet to find a good Pre-Wo, but so far this one has lasted the longest, but halfway through the workout I feel as if it's completely gone.

Should I up dosage? Or drink it literally 1-2 minutes before I start work out? I feel it hitting my head right as I start drinking it, so should I just do that?
>> Anonymous
i use this, used it tonight infact. i take between 2 1/2 to 3 scoops and if i didnt just eat it works fine. but 2 or less, and i don't feel it. And yes, drink it jsut before your workout because it kicks in fast.

I've used superpump 250 before and it kicks everything else you mentioned's ass, but its to expensive for my tastes

>>381259

Alright ill up it friday.

I wonder if I should eat my Pre-Wo meal 1 hour before instead of 30 mins before, I bet that would help too.
>> Anonymous
>>381272
you bet it would. the container says you should wait 2 hours after eating or 1 hour after a protein shake if i recall. and waiting does make a huge difference.
>> Anonymous
why don't you drink a fucking cup of coffee
>> Anonymous
all this means is you are not susceptible to the placebo effect and your caffeine sensitivity is extremely low.

don't waste your money on any of this "pump" shit.
>> Anonymous
>>381281

I take my whey 30 mins prior to my work out. Could I still push that back another 30 mins and have it affective still?

>>381288
It's kind of weird about these type of things. I thought it would work for sure. I'm prescribed Adderall and Rittalin (stopped taking, this is why). I had instant release tabs that were only supposed to last 3 hours, they lasted up to at least a day, sometimes 3 days.
-So, to add that into a question, does my body just piss this shit away and not even accept it?

2-3.

I'm just going to bring my whey back an hour before workout if I can, maybe actually 45 minutes, it should be out of my stomach, I'll eat 1 to 1 1/2 hour before workout, see if that works.

Appreciate the help.

>> Anonymous
>>381333

Creatine is in food. It doesn't benefit you that much at all. Little to none. Water retention, get some.
>> Anonymous
>>381335
I'm kind of surprised that you would take 2-3 scoops of NO Explode and not have good results but then again just saying it' shit isn't really saying much. Might just be how your body reacts to NO supplements, 2-3 scoops for most people is a lot. I'm 6'1 175 and 3 scoops would have me wanting to throw rebar through peoples heads.
>> Anonymous
>>381343

Yeah, I'm 6'4 239 right now. Cutting down from 268lbs, trying to cut down to around 200-210lbs.

I find it weird too, I just thought some of these products would blow me out of the water because of how sensitive I am to rittalin and adderall. I know they are amphetamines, but it's also a stimulant and a low dosage would have me up for at least a day.

But yeah, like I Said, I'll just move shit back in time and take this on an empty stomach. I'll drink it right after my warm up cardio.

>>381353
Might want to stay away from some of these Pre Work out powders, a lot of them contain creatine, not really helpful if you are trying to cut. And like you said you have taken a lot of other things, a couple of the guys on my team have gotten no results from their pre workout sups in a while because they have just built up such a tolerance to NO explode that they would have to be taking 4-6 scoops which is just not good for you.

Says the retard who has no idea what it actually does.

>>381361

I doubt I could find that much for that cheap. For decent coffee here you get a small pouch with like 20 servings for 8-10 bucks.

Plus, for 25 bucks this lasts me 25 work outs. Almost 2 months.

Longer than coffee would last me.

>> Anonymous
>>381368
unless he's gonna be weighing in for a competition, he shouldn't even worry about what weight he is.
creatine is good. EVERYONE should take it.
but preworkout supps are bullshit and no one should take them.
>> Anonymous
>>381374

It just gives you more ATP for a couple of more reps. I mean really? For 1-2 more reps? Wow, what needy supp!
>> Anonymous
>>381368

Yeah, I try to find products as of now that contain no creatine, this is one of them.

Also, when I get off of a product I didn't like, I wait about 2-3 weeks before I start another. Fuck doing 4-6 scoops, I would NEVER do that.
>> Anonymous
lol this thread is so fucking sad its funny

apparently creatine, the cheapest supplement in the fucking universe and the most studied and proven supplement is useless, but (supplemental) arginine(the "active" ingredient in most of these overpriced preworkout scams), and extremely overpriced caffeine are worth spending shitloads of money on.

i realize how futile it is to post this, but im going to anyway.

And compare the creatine side effects to that of NO. NO you just could the shits and dizziness. Creatine? Holy fuck, where do you start?

Little to none? Now you're just attacking creatine because everyone who says your shit doesn't work knows creatine does. Read some studies.

http://www.quackwatch.org/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/DSH/creatine.html

"A 12-week placebo-controlled study of 19 weightlifters in their mid-twenties found that the creatine group could lift more weight and had greater increases in fat-free mass and muscle-fiber size than did the placebo group. The researchers thought that the creatine let the athletes who used it train harder"

And I could sit here all day and pull up some Muscletech reviews that show a 900% increase, right? Give me a fucking break, YOU do some research.

>> Anonymous
>>381458

>Dehydration, cramps, gastrointestinal distress, and sometimes fucking seizures.

Dehydration and cramps are directly related and are not a fucking problem if you drink enough water in the first place. Never heard about stomach problems and havent experienced them myself, but it sounds like an extension of cramps. If creatine caused seizures, then why would it be so popular?

Quit forcing yourself to hate creatine because you're stuck in an argument about it. Be open-minded and read some shit about it
>> Anonymous
>>381461

That's not how science works. There's something called repeatability, and it has been shown time and time again the shit works.

i think you guys are missing the point

on pubmed, creatine is THE MOST RESEARCHED sports perf. supplement in the world.

universally accepted to A. work and B. be safe
(in people with proper renal function)

now assuming those to both be true, you must realize that even if it DOES WORK, it does NOT work that well, especially if you are a big meat eater and have had experience with the product already.

no body w/ iron game experience gives a shit about it.

hyping creatine is the ultimate "HEY GUISE, NEWFAG HERE"

its not a big deal, and the % change in helping you reach a 400lb squat or DL is extremely minimal.

tl dr: if you are going to bother, get the micronize monohydrate. you a total supp company sucker to go w/anything else. like 12 for half a years supply....
>> Anonymous
>>381468

That's fine, keep linking me that. But I can sit here and say there is 'repeatability' on many a products that people claim are Placebo's.

You can think I'm 'bashing' Creatine, that's fine. There's a good and bad to almost everything. You're on here bashing my product, that's fine. It's what you think. But don't sit here and tell me that Creatine is perfect.

I was actually really debating whether or not to get on CEE later. But really with Creatine, it just helps you pump out a few more reps, a few more. If you're so desperate on pumping out a few more reps, you can easily do it without it. Not fucking hard.

All the facepalms in the world cannot possibly suffice for this thread.

Anyhow, I've used everything (and I'm a heavy skeptic).

NO Shotgun by vpx worked best for me. You get hydro whey, amino acids, creatine and glutamine. Pretty solid pre-workout ingredients. No carbs though, so I complement with some oats.

Also, I strongly recommend learning how to channel your energy, concentration and focus through mental means. NOTHING gives you an awesome workout like a positive attitude and the iron-will to overcome your weakness and push yourself past your limits.

oh idk i just googled, was interested. this is what was on there

"Despite the claims of some in the supplement industry, there exists ample scientific literature to suggest the efficacy of Nitric Oxide products. The following was written in May 1996 in a document prepared for the Royal Society and Association of British Science Writers:"

"Summary research papers continue to flood the scientific journals and insights into the biological activity and potential clinical uses of nitric oxide (NO): a gas controlling a seemingly limitless range of functions in the body. Each revelation adds to nitric oxide's already lengthy resume in controlling the circulation of the blood, regulating activities of the brain, lungs, liver, kidneys, stomach and other organs."

etc.
>> Anonymous
>>381580
and that says nothing about the ingestation of large amounts of arginine leading to greater NO synthesis.
