ok fit. serious business here.
hear out my story

i have been going to the gym for 2 and a half years. i weighed 240 when i started going there. i am at 181 right now. im trying to lose weight and get muscle at the same time through that whole time. the thing is im not making progress enough to make me happy.i lost 9 pounds over the whole summer. this sucks for me because many of my buddys are loseing weight a lot faster than this. im on a decent diet. high protien, low carbs. i dont know what to do at this point because i thought id be a lot more bulky and slim now. but im sure you know what your talking about /fit/ so i come here and ask, what is the best way for me to lose this fast. id like to go down 15 pounds of fat by mid november. pic is of me, tried to give some angles. any certain workout types would be great i just need to lose this as soon as possible

If you want to lose fat just do a load of cardio, you will lose some muscle but after you reach your desired body fat % you can start gaining muscle. I tried to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time and it was hard for me.

OP here. i started doing a lot of ddr. after 2 weeks on there i can do calorie burn mode and get off 250 calories. but as far as what i eat, i dont really say i eat a lot. but I eat until full. some days that 600 calories, others its probally 2500. i cant find a center on this. i was thinking mabie just ddr, run, trampoline, and dips, pull ups, push ups, curls but idk what really works for me at this point. if anybody else has something similar id like to hear what they did or what someone would reccomend for me to get as slim and lean as possible. ill do whatever.

usually 2 hard boiled eggs in the morning, an apple somewhere in there, cereal (honey bunches of oats) sometimes, go to the gym, have a protien bar then a mixture of other things for the evening. sometimes lowfat chicken to whatevers in the house.

You already have an acceptable diet, but I will say this.

Whenever you get extremely hungry, eat green vegetables (spinach, romaine lettuce). All I can say now is just do cardio until you lose the amount of fat you want to lose.

2 sets of 3 leg machines, 6 upper body machines, 2 stomach machines, lower back and neck machine. my buddy is fit as hell with using free weights but i just dont have them at the house nor do they at the gym. my weights on the machines are decent. from 80-200 depending on what and 12-25 reps on different certain machines. this is just dissapointing for doing this 2 days on 1 day off for this long (missing days for when im sick of corse) but yea. ill do anything to get this gone asap

he lives about a half hor trip from my house. so that isnt really worth it... im guessing crazy amounts of cardio? if i did high protien and ddr, running would that work?

Buy a set of adjustable dumbells or something from WalMart then, I think my first set cost me like $20 or some shit, lasted for about 2 years. Might have to buy some additional plates, but won't run you too much and free weights are worth it.

free weights are the fastest route you can take to your goal. hiit can also help, much better than steady state cardio
