Ok, /fit/, pardon any newfaggotry here, because it is my first time posting on this particular trial board.

Anyways, last Sunday I did something very stupid.
You guys know Veet, right? Well, I tried to use it on my bikini line (in b4 no girls on the internet, etc, etc.) It worked on the place I tried it. The hair came off, but I got a rather nasty burn on my skin. When I put it on it started to sting, but I figured it was nothing so I left it until the 3-minutes was up, by which time the pain had become almost unbearable. I know have dry, itchy, and in some spots raw flesh where I used that stuff. Ouch, motherfuckers.

My questions for you are these:
First, is there anything I can put on the burns to help them heal up faster? Anything I shouldn't use?
Second, I'd like to use this stuff on my underarms as well, but I'm afraid it will give me burns there as well. Is it likely to be different on other regions of my skin, or will I most likely encounter the same thing? Is there any other hair-removal type gel that is less likely to burn? (I remember using some sort on my underarms a few years ago, it didn't burn me like this. The thing is, I can't remember what kind it was. Might've been Nair, not sure.) Which types/brands of the stuff are for more sensitive skin, and what are your experiences with it?

Thank you for your time. Picture unrelated.

Might be an allergic reaction. Check the can.

And no, don't use it anymore.

Wax it.

You're meant to do a patch test first on each area you want to use it. Maybe you just get irritated by it? Try tiny patch on your underarm then wait 24hrs.

is this your first time using it? a lot of people complain about this, and i read somewhere before that it was due to sensitive skin

OP here. I don't think it's an allergic reaction, I did read the can. I have very sensitive/dry skin, so that's probably it. I didn't do a patch test because I've used the stuff before (not sure if it was the same brand, again.) I'll do a patch test on my underarm and see how it goes, I guess.

OP again.

I just tried it, and it started to irritate the skin so yeah, not gonna use this kind anymore. You guys have any idea what brand/type I might have used last time? I believe the cream was a light tan-ish color, and not as foamy as the stuff I just used.

Dunno OP, I'm not a faggot

Dunno OP, I'm not a faggot. Also tans are fugly.

if you post some pics it would help us to diagnose your problem further

You're probably just allergic to Veet, but they do have "For sensitive skin" types. If you didn't use this brand before then you don't know if you're allergic, not all hair removal creams are the same. (I had an allergic reaction with Nair but not Veet).

OP again. I considered trying the "sensitive skin" variety, but I figured it wouldn't be much different than the regular. I shall try that next, I guess, and if that still irritates my skin I'll try Nair.

As for pictures, sorry guys, no tits for you, this thread's subject is not relevant to them. Tomorrow I will try to post a picture or two of the burned area(s)
