Do you mean you're not a music guy in the "I don't know what's out there that's good" way? Or the "I don't really listen to music" way?

If the former, coming to 4chan for music advice is the worst place you can go. They're all holier-than-thou in their pseudo-hipsterness. Either that or DRAGONFORCEDRAGONFORCEDRAGONFORCE. Just listen to whatever gets you feeling pumped up and motivated.

If the later - why do you even care? Just work the fuck out.

Rock or hip hop or rap or what? Give us some idea.

I listen to (hed) PE when I lift, and Iron Maiden when I run. Just listen to what gets your adrenaline pumping.

I'm big on metal and rap when i work out.

And no joke, I have some classical on my workout mix, Ave Maria, O Fortuna, Ride of the Valkyries, etc. It's a trip man.

But on a lighter-note OP, listen to some Pendulum

Tarantula, Slam, Blood Sugar, Fasten your Seat belt, Hold your color, Voodoo people,

Justice, and DJ Shadow. Great cardio music.

LOVE YOU. METALHEAD FTW.

It depends on if you like steady 4/4 shit to keep you nicely in rhythm for your sets, or if you get pumped from wicked technical/innovative stuff. If you're like 95% of the fags out there, you'll love Metallica or Rap when you're working out.

I like prog/tech metal while I'm working out.

I can't imagine not being "a big music person."

You should listen to whatever pumps you up, makes you feel good, motivated, powerful.

Soundtracks or licensed music from your favorite movies/games. Stuff that makes you feel like a swaggering badass with bards singing of your exploits.

ocremix.org is agood place to start if you're a gamer.
