My friend has this problem where, whenever she stands up after sitting for a little while (most especially when she gets out of the car) she has a brief dizzy spell, and stands there rubbing her eyes for a few seconds. She says during this time, she "can't see" and has to wait for her dizziness to stop and for her vision to clear up before she starts walking. What might be the issue here? From what I hear, her mother tends to have this sometimes, as does one of her grandparents. (Or at least, they used to, I don't know for sure).Said friend is rather skinny. Not anorexic by any means, but I think she is technically underweight. I know for a fact that she doesn't eat well - she loathes any vegetables and it's damn near impossible to get her to eat them. She has a very small appetite and gets full ridiculously fast, which obviously doesn't help her weight any.My guess is her diet/weight might have something to do with her dizzy/blind spells but what does /fit/ think?

>>360292>>360304I'm already there, so this is irrelevant.
Orthostatic hypotension, do your own research, etc.
