i bet if everyone on /fit/ read this article before posting we wouldn't have 90% of the posts on /fit/

what say you?

>do Something Daily
questionable

it's not saying exercise daily, it just says do something active daily

how can this POSSIBLY be incorrect?

god knows 393004 that you certainly are NOT in a position that this would hurt you

or is it your precious faggoty rippetoe who demands it?

who wouldnt even be allowed to lick the anal hairs out of louie simmon's shit. Simmon’s and the westside/conjugate guys and Oly lifters do up to 16x training sessions per week, most often just GTG and GPP stuff. the world does not revolve around you solitary 5x5 session

fiber is overrated, i get anywheres from 10-25g a day from vegetable and fruit sources. getting 50g of fiber from wheat bread will not help you at all

Yeah, they juice. So does everyone else at their level, and westside is still the most successful powerlifting gym in north america.

If there was no such thing as anabolic steroids, these motherfuckers would still be the strongest people in the world, and you'd still be a tool who makes up excuses as to why they are.

Also, not that great of an article, there were a bunch of things I disagreed with.

That's probably because you're a fucking moron.

I'm still waiting for any bad advice I've given to be pointed out as bad. Hit me up when that happens, and I'll tell you why you're wrong.

what do you disagree with? and don't tell me this and that aren't for elite athletes, because i doubt everyone on /fit/ wanting to know isolation ab exercises is looking to be the next michael phelps

A lot of the things said there are not absolutes, but said like they are.

such as:
"More is Better When it Comes to Working Out"
Well, sometimes it isn't. If you're doing full body stuff, then no, more would probably not be better. If you want to be a bodybuilder though, they often work small muscle groups 6 times a week.

"Carb/Sport Drinks are OK Before, During and After a Workout"
Well, it depends on the person, again. Also, because these carbs are fast absorbing, if you're feeling down or tired during a workout, then a bottle of gatorade will often make you feel better and finish the workout properly.

I mean some things were good, ad some things weren't.

did you read the article or did you just read the bold text, because after the bold text (the popular assumptions) they debunk those assumptions

Did you read my post? And where I pointed to the places where there are benefits to doing what he debunks?

Bodybuilders and people who actually work out hard enough for Gatorade to benefit them aren't generally the sort of people who this article targets anyways, faggot. This article is for dumbasses who go to the gym and have no idea what they're doing there and how it benefits them. The information is all good with regards to its intended audience, so stop being a troll about it. Christ.

Compound and Isolation workouts are not mutually exclusive.

"I see it in every gym, people giving 110% doing some of the craziest things. People spending hours and hours in there daily for 7x a week, yet they look the same month after month."

It looks to me like it's people who work out hard, but do stupid things
