Can I do cardio on my days off lifting and my days on. I plan on doing like 30 mins each day, then eventually starting HIIT. Does doing cardio on rest days fuck up muscles in any way?

Why does everyone still say cardio is the best way to get rid of fat when studies seem to show that weightlifting and HIIT are the better solution?

You can't just jump into HIIT or you'll fucking die, you should start with cardio first. Those aren't studies, some ignorant bitch

But you have to remember. Most people that are out of shape physically can not start doing HIIT until they have built up some sort of endurance, something cardio helps with if your doing it right. For people starting out, doing cardio along with your weightlifting is a good step towards future progress. If you were a fatfuck, do you think you could run for 20-30 secs 10 times in a row and not have a heart attack?

Weight isnt really relevant, i'm around 250lb (5'11) and i can do HIIT because i did around 2-3 months cardio prior to it with a decent diet so i wasnt an unhealthy fuck. HIIT is more about your level of fitness than weight, problem is people assume to be physically fit you have to be at your ideal weight.
