/fit/, how bad is coffee for you?

I know, the standard answer is only drink water and milk, but I like coffee sometimes. Its decaf.

I couldn't find the exact nutritional value of it (decaf Sumatra by Starbucks) so I was wondering how awful you think it is for my body.

P.S. I am not one of those fatties who pours fucking caramel and whipped cream on coffee. I just have coffee with milk and splenda.

Just drink it faggot.

It's not gonna kill you. Unless you drink moar than 2 cups a day.
Ideally zero a day is good though.

no, caffeinated coffee is good for you (as long as you don't overdo it)

raises your metabolism, gives you more energy so you tend to move more, etc.

decaf though? why? what's the point?

I think coffee can actually assist in fat loss

It's actually a very important chemical in those "weight loss pills".

Also, coffee is good before a cardio session, it's supposed to make you burn more fat.

I thought caffeine makes you dehydrate more. So how would that help with a cardio session?

Coffee is good for you. Caffeine raises your metabolism and anti-oxidants is good for ...stuff. But decaff is for old people. Just remember to drink 2-3 cups of water per cup of coffee to prevent dehydration

YOU SHOULD BE DRINKING A GALLON OF WATER A DAY. DEHYDRATION FROM CAFFIENE(which isn't true anyway) FROM A CUP OR TWO OF COFFEE IS NOT AN ISSUE.

caffeine is fine, the problem is that people tend to abuse it. When used in excess, it causes dependency, withdrawal, as well as damage to the central nervous system. I tend to tell people to avoid it because the average person doesnt have the common sense to use it in moderation
