Jogging for 30 minutes burns about 250 calories. It helps if you have an iPod with kickass music to help keep you pumped the whole way. Yes, I know it doesn't seem like much, and it is quite strenuous, and boring (even if you're not tired) but 250 calories, or even 500 calories is a lot. If you jog for an hour, that's like, more than a whole meal right there.
