When I got to work out, I normally do half an hour on the ellipticals, half on the stair stepper, and 45 minutes running. I'm exhausted when I finish, but I'm never sore the next day. Am I doing weightloss wrong, or is feeling sore not necessary?

Fairly certain am not of Kryptonian origin, but my parents have yet to broach the subject. Yet.

You only get sore if you do new / different movements that your muscles are not used too. If you do the the same shit every day, eventually you won't be sore. Say if you switch to a resistance/weight routine, I'd bet you be sore as fuck after your first few days. Then it'll eventually go away.

Okay! But, is my current routine effective for weight loss? I've got my heart rate up and all, but if I'm not sore after I finish, it never feels like I'm making progress.
