The Perfect Creatine? Anonymous
I went to Popeyes and GNC today asking about Creatine, both of them tried to push me towards CEE or Kre-Alkaline, and some Triphosphate stuff... All said to bypass the bloating and other inherent flaws of Monohydrate...

I see a lot of guys on here and elsewhere saying it is just another scam to make money, that there is no difference and that I might as well save my money and go mono.

Are these guys just purist who don't really know what is better, is there some sound science to what people are saying about the other Creatines?

Some help plox?
I googled around and I don't really know where to look... Thinking maybe some of you guys might be in a position to know.

GNC employeess get commission off of all muscle tech and GNC branded products, so if thats what theyre pushing you to buy and you dont know exactly what it is... dont.

Monohydrate is fine.

Ok, i use Kre-Alkalyn and i swear by it.
I've also tried normal creatine, the difference is notisable but not drastically regards to bloating. Kre-alkalyn did remove the bloat and for that alone i would use it.

Regarding the absorbtion rate and the breakdown before reaching the muscle. I don't know if 5% or 10% or 99.9% is being absorbed. I'm not a scientist but i know that it DOES make a great impact on my workouts and the way i look.

only faggots that take too much get bloated from monohydrate.

OP:
get something with the creapure label, such as http://www.dpsnutrition.net/get_item_un061.htm

don't do a loading phase. 3-5grams a day. no more.
don't buy overpriced, gimmick creatine.

So one serving of that stuff would be more then adequate for a guy just trying out for a nice athletic build?

People take more then 5grams a day of this stuff?

get wal-mart creatine one thing of it is like 12.00$ and lasts for a year....I've never had any problem with bloating/anything with it.....

common now, your telling me I should buy supplements from wal-mart... Shit is probably made in china, full of "extras"

srsly though, aren't there differences in quality?

>come on

anyways, I don't see why it would make a difference, creatine is creatine.

You make wal-mart sound like some dude pushing ecstasy at a rave.

The place isn't known for having high quality things, cheap things in abundance yes, good deals on certain stuff, but as far as health products are concerned I'm just a bit put off.

hint: you're being fooled by stores that sell the same shit for a higher price to think that lower priced stuff is of shitty quality. it's the same shit.

There must be a process through which the shit goes through in order for it to be able to be put out on the market.

I am sure there are different levels of quality, or purity involved.

pro tip: its ALL made in china

if it doesn't say creapure, don't trust it.

cee and kre alk are marketing ploys. mono is the way to go because it is the cheapest and just as effective. creatine by nature causes water retention, and thats a good thing. if you arent bloated then you arent taking enough

So with any sort of creatine if I stop taking it I will slowly "deflate" back to normal?

The sales pitch both places had revolved around how mono gave illusionary results since it was all bloat conditional on continued mono intake, whereas the other kinds absorbed better and you kept the muscle even after going off of it.

Why would anyone deflate?
