I've been taking Centrum multivitamins. But now I'm hearing about how shit these vitamins are. Care to elaborate if this is true, also what other multivitamins would /fit/ recommend.

Most vitamins are formulated for old people. If you're eating healthily you don't need to take vitamin supplements unless you have some sort of disease.

I'm no expert, but I think they're the best because they contain the exact RDA of all the vitamins you need. Every other vitamin I've ever taken has had like 8000% RDA of vitamin B and such shit. That's not good for you.

I used to take the old formula Centrum before they supposedly "changed" it. Once I finished the bottle I switched to GNC's Mega Men Dietary Supplement. I did feel a slight improvement in energy, but then again it could be a placebo effect.

Either way, the Supplement Facts indicate that Mega Men contains almost double of most the vitamins listed on the Centrum. I only became aware of this after cruising some fitness sites.

But then again, as someone pointed out. Depending on your diet, you may not even need vitamins.

btw, I take vitamins because I get strange reactions to seafood and I'm lactose intolerant.

That's why I take GNC's Mega Men.

cheapest vitamins available. lowest quality and as such are less absorbed. Go to a correct supplement store, not a stupid one that has this shit.
