RUNNING AND SHIT Anonymous
ive started jogging and i wanna know should i try to extend the duration of a single long run or should i do sets of runs? at the moment ive been running around the outer edge of a park maybe like a mile or a mile and a half total distance, i do that a couple of times, catch my breath and do one more. should i be pushing it and trying to extend it to 3 times round in a row and then eventually 4 then 5 or should i be continually catching my breath and trying do as many separate laps as i can? separate laps seem like id be running for a longer total time but then like anyone can run 10 miles doing that. im not looking for to lose weight BTW i work on my muscles and i wanna be all round healthy. whats good?

Extend your workouts, but gradually. How often do you run? Every 1 (if you're running 3-4x/week) or 2 (running 1-2/week between gym sessions) add a lap.

rest as much as you want before the extra lap.

if you are doing this kind of exercise you arent trying to kill yourself, but its better to rest 20 mins and do a bit more than to do nothing

i do two or three times a week, ill try 3 times but depends if my legs are recovering from pistols. lets say in two weeks i should be up to 3 in a row, rest, then one extra, and in a month i should be doing 4 in row with an extra, is that good?
