What are some good back exercises you can do without equipment? I'm currently doing leg lifts and crunches for abs, but I've heard it's good to balance it out with back training.

Don't fail me /fit/
SQUATZ. Pullups.
>>279285pullups require equipment :(
>>279291you MUST have a children playground near your house, amirite? iamrite.also, you can do bent-over rows, deadlifts with sand bags.superman extensions are good, too.
Moron, get some fucking equipment, what's your problem? "Ehh durrr I needs to strength my back, but durrr uh I have no epmentz"
>>279291No. They don't. They require a heavy door or a local jugle gym, with favour to the jungle gym.Upper body:PushupsPullupsAbs/back:Bicycle crunchesSide CrunchesBack Extensions with legs raisedLegs:SquatsLungesHeel raisesQuad Strengthening Leg lifts:Mountain climbers
>>279298i live in a 25 m^2 student apartment, and i'm too busy with other stuff to go to the gym. i only do a ~30 min exercise before i go to bed (i've gone from managing 0 pushups to being able to do over 70 just from that, so don't tell me it doesn't have any effect).
>>279296yeah, though i'd feel pretty silly exercising there.
>>279298lay off the 'riods man
>>279311>i'm too busy with other stuff to go to the gymwe can't help you until you stop lying to yourself
>>279331it's true. i honestly have better stuff to do with my time than go to the gym. i'm not looking to be a body builder, i just want to improve my current condition somewhat. i know i can get good effects with relatively little training -- as i've seen great gains doing other exercises before going to bed -- without using equipment (and i appreciate the people who pointed out things like doing pullups using heavy doors and the like), and i'm not looking for more than that.
>>279338you're not aiming high enough
>>279346this is probably a flamebait, but i don't even find extremely muscular bodies very attractive, and i wouldn't want to have one. i'm looking for some nice middle-ground.
>>279347that means if you go beyond your current goals, you'll end up very muscular? how about just becoming muscular?
>>279347OH GEE YOU'LL GET EXTREMELY MUSCULAR JUST FROM GOING TO A GYM. IT'S LIKE INSTA MUSCLE. NO REAL COMMITMENT REQUIRED! IT'S MAGIC!
>>279350muscular is what i'm hoping to accomplish, and i'm sure it can be done without equipment. i have lots of other stuff going on in my life, so this is kind of a side-project (of the 30-minutes-before-bed-time kind). still, i see pretty nice effects.
>>279353i think you missed the point. it's about priorities, and what you can accomplish at home vs at a gym. if i wanted to have a bodybuilder-type body, i'd go to a gym (or if getting fit was a higher priority for me and i was willing to invest more time).
dorsals are solid, and even if you don't have equipment it's not that hard to get a sandbag and do some burpees deadlifts and shit with them.
One that hasn't been mentioned, swimmers. Lay on your stomach and alternate raising one arm and the opposite leg.
>>279358Why don't you just go to the gym for 30 minutes then? =\
>>279402He's a jew and doesn't want to spend the money. I'm like that too.
Supermans!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_M7Oum7VbkU&feature=relatedlike so.
Chin-ups and Pull-ups.
