Is the pic related? If so, I'm not sure what you categorize weight loss under, but it can fall under Safety and Basic. You have less chance of heart problems or diabetes and all the wonderful problems that come with excess weight.
As for motivators, I still haven't found mine. I'm pretty sure it's getting a partner to exercise with, but school and work makes cooperating schedules impossible.
So what's working for me now is having a weekly schedule of when I have to exercise. Wake up 30 minutes earlier to do 30 minutes that will give me energy all day.
Other motivators that work for people are joining a gym (when you spend the money, you won't want to waste it).
That's some I can think of. You could also set a weekly weight loss (long-term is very daunting). If you also want to get some muscle, measure inches, since you should be losing fat and gaining muscle.
