yep plenty of people gain strength while in a caloric deficit

pretty sure people go a bit too far with this one. ive been working out since july and have quadrupled(lulz) my strength while staying at ~2k calories a day the entire time.

though I did start with laughable strength all around (bench pressing just the bar was almost too much). I weigh the exact same(155lbs). im sure its a whole lot easier to pack on mussel eating a metric fuckton of food, but i feel like Id be a whole lot more satisifed being at a very low bf than being huge. at least for now.

this usually changes slowly as you realize you can get bigger, and then cut to the same bf%

Ditto. I've been running on a calorie deficit for the past month and a half and I've been getting stronger weekly. I'm the stongest I've ever been in most everything.

Gaining strength while losing weight is so cash.™
