Looking for some advice.

I'm 5'10'' and weigh somewhere close to 240. Obviously overweight and looking to change it. Been riding a bike for 5 miles a day (and climbing as endurance grows) as well as incorporating a few other exercises.

Any suggestions?

Exercise alone won't help, you probably need to change your diet as well.

No sweets, cut down on empty calories. Consume skim milk, fish, fruits, vegetables, wheaties, kidney beans, peanuts, ect...

Drink tea as an anti-oxidant. Make sure you get enough Omega-3, Vitamin B, C, E, Magnesium, Potassium, Water, and Salt. Many of those vitamins you sweat out during intense exercise.
