Knee pain. How do I ease it? Every time before I start running I have to do a long knee warm up ritual before every running session, then I start running, and if I stop to relax the muscles and try to start running again, it's even worse...

My weight is proportionate to my body height(BMR confirms this), but the knees are killing me. It's a sharp, strong drilling part in the middle of both knees, outside right and inside left, as circled.

Any suggestions/remedies/comments?

Sounds like your menisci, because if they were your ligaments you would be howling in pain and couldn't move. Take some glucosamine and chondroitin, increase your calcium intake to healthy levels, get 10-15 mins of sunlight a day, and gently massage your knees.
