Sup /fit/. I'm in the course of losing weight. I'm just shy of 5'2 and I am a guy age 21. I weigh about 140 atm and no, none of that is muscle. I don't have a massive gut or anything though it's getting apparent, however my shape is obviously unhealthy. As far as I can remember I've always been fairly doughy and had moobies/man breasts/etc. They've always seemed to be there even before gaining the bulk of my weight (weighed 130 before soph year of college).

Ultimately, while I want to lose weight, but ultimately I want to be rid of these man mammaries. They made me self conscious through High School and ultimately be truly disgusted with myself impairing both my social life and love life greatly. I didn't swim, go without a shirt, nothing. Now I really want to because I'm in the prime of my life, but that will be gone soon and I don't want to remain a slob all my life and embarassed of my figure- though I'm not sure if the cause of my 'breasts' is from being overweight they have certainly increased in size as I got fatter.

Ultimately I'm wondering if theres any real way to get rid of these moobies? I was told they can't be rid of through exercise or weight training and that the only way is through surgery which will leave alot of scarring.

jog/bike/swim/[insert other cardio] 30 mins a day
watch what you eat, don't eat after 6pm, or 5-6 hours before you go to bed

Yeah, I've got the idea on losing weight in general, but I'm wondering how to get rid of the moobs. I havent lost enough weight to make a real judgement, just wondering if it's even possible to get rid of man breasts or if i can only be done surgically?

Hey bitchtits...don't waste time with surgery until you try the logical thing....DIET AND EXERCISE. Once you've shed a good amount of fat, built some aerobic endurance and hopefully some muscle...then see if you still have boobs that require surgery.

Try getting skinny for free (running outside, smaller portions, simple activities) before attempting to get surgery.

Relax. I never even mentioned surgery as my option. I am dieting, I am exercising. I was just trying to get information if ANY of these will actually get rid of my moobs or just leave me with dangling flesh.

Pictures would help us judge whether it's a hormonal thing or a fat thing, and how you will look when it's done. I've had the same thing for most of my life (though I'm probably worse than you, used to be 285 pounds and now I'm 190, muscled, toned everywhere except for a bit of a paunch and some fat hanging from the pecs and a bit of flab on my ass) and so I can only give you advice from personal experience based on your image.

I haven't got a cam to take pictures, but my pic featured is just a topic starer- mine aren't near as bad. They don't sag down upon the rest of my abdomen. They're fairly perky infact.

What I've got pictured now is more close to how they are. I'm thinking they're hormonal, because I've had them since 6th grade and at that time I was only about 125, if that. I wasn't fat.
