Got a question for /fit/.

I have been lifting 3 times a week and swimming laps on my off days.

I hear you have to eat alot to gain muscle, but I am already kinda flabby and want to lose fat but gain muscle.

If I eat 6 high protein meals a day will the fat eventually go away?

btw I know this is a stupid question to some, but I really want to improve my life and overall health so please help me out if possible.

pic unrelated.

Why don't you try asking a trainer at your gym?

You know that all /fit/ is going to tell you is "DO MOAR SQUATZ."

losing fat and gaining muscle at the same time is tricky.
Protein is high in calories too, so you might get fatter.
I'd try to do one thing at a time.
Bulk and Cut or vice versa.

So no whey supplement, eggs, chick, and fish?

What would be a good diet to get cut and lose "flab on?

it really depends what you want to achieve.
Do you want muscle now? Then eat protein, but expect to gain some fat too (maybe).
Do you really want to get slim fast?
Cut your calories down and that includes watching protein intake.
Of course you can try to do both at the same time, but there is no guarantee that you'll like it.

cool, thanks for the help.

average man needs 2500 calories a day.
Cut your diet to 2000 and you'll lose fat every day a bit.
Of course you can include protein in those 2k to retain your muscle.
