What does /fit/ think of a 1800 calorie per day diet, for a guy who's just over 300Ibs, with 1 hour of cardio per day?do you think that's too little calories, or too much calories?According to livestrong.com I should lose 3.4Ibs per week, after taking into account my height and weight. 2000 calories per day, op.1800 seems a little low so it may cause you to plateau faster.other than that, it seems pretty good.

3.4lbs a week is too fast and you'll just end up with alot of extra skin because you didnt give it time to adjust to the change
Make sure that diet is clean.....stop the junk food and sweets altogether. If you do that, you could even prolly have 2000 calories a day and lose quite a bit of weight.....and yeah make sure you stick to that cardio plan
