If you want to learn to kick people, go to a kickboxing gym.You can avoid dehydration/hyperthermia by not using your muscles, staying in the shade, dressing lightly, consuming electrolytes, or killing yourself.

Biking isn't going to build your leg muscles. Squats and deadlifts with heavy weights will.
