Hello /fit/, fatass /v/irgin here.

I was looking at exercise bikes, and then I found this little thing. I like the concept especially because my room is rather small and I do not think I could fit a bike in here.

This also seems like a good idea because it beats the hell out of just being sedentary and doing nothing.

What do you think?

Here's the link so you can take a look for yourself.

If you are a fatass this will do nothing for you. An hero.

If you're going to cycle, get an actual exercise bike. That thing is the equivalent of moving your legs past your knees around until you get bored. It's barely exercise.
I used to have one and the thing was unstable as fuck. It just slides further and further away from you if you attempt to apply any force ie USE IT

Here's an idea: go outside.

Looks like there is no range of motion.

Go jog outside if you don't have room for equipment in your room.

Fuck it, I guess I can't fight it any longer.

I just get embarrassed when I jog outside. Man tits flopping about and all that.

It doesn't look too bad.

Try before you buy bro'
Also read the reviews on amazon from people who've actually bought it.

Jog on the spot, then. Do it violently enough and it will tire you out.
Though you'll feel much less ridiculous/likely to break something doing it outside.

Could also get a jump rope and find somewhere without too many people. Or go swim laps at a YMCA, plenty of non-fit looking people there no one will care.

I've done that before, it's pretty stupid feeling but I just cover the windows and make sure I'm never seen.

Sounds like a plan, I liked swimming a lot as a child. I don't know why I stopped.

Swimming is a great, low-impact, full body exercise. With diet you will see results in no time.

You should realize that swimming for exercise is some of the most monotonous boring forms of getting fit ever. I swam on the swim team for 9 years, I hated it. If you want something to get you fit fairly fast, and not have to worry about joint damage much, I'd get on a real bike. It's nice because you can have a good change of scenery, fresh air at your face, and listen to music.
