ITT we bitch about our genetic disadvantages.

I have a really broad ribcage. It's a mixed baggage because it makes me look buffer. On the other hand, it's harder for fat to settle on top of it, so it all hangs down off my belly instead, so even at better than normal weight for my height, I have a horrendous midsection. And then the little fat that does settle on top of my pecs takes the form of fat lumps. Oh, and if I try to lose fat, it scares me because when I still have a belly to get rid of, my ribs show and I look nearly anorexic from above my midsection, and that sometimes discourages further fat loss.

Over-exaggerated for sure, but that's just the name of the game. What's your unfortunate disposition?
>> Kung-FU !!yKQtbs254kV
I have weak fucking legs. Not sure if its a disadvantage though as I have yet to develop them further.

squat max 185, bench max ~190 (I've been bench a lot longer than squatting) :(

That sucks, but keep on training them legs and you will be able to handle tripple the weight.
>> Moonmauler !!LgNbdvCFAuN
Thalassemia. It's just more motivation for me to excel though. It makes being able to run a sub 3 hour marathon all the more sastifying. I'm not there quite yet, but I'm close and I fully expect to achieve it.

my body just seems to pack on muscle and strength when i put a solid effort in. i make sure to train every part of my body hard and eat enough, and its so fucking weird! im getting stronger every week and i dont know why!?!

please help, i think ill be stuck like this forever!

My big toe has a fucking tumor on it. It's small and not malignant but fuck, it hurts when I run. Swimming's a no go too for the splashing is just painful.
>> Anonymous
My body's mostly fast-twitch muscle fibers. The gains come with ease in sprinting and all around strength training, but endurance work is a major battle for me. I'm trying to get into military shape by practicing ruck marches, long distance runs, and Crossfit, but it seems that endurance work is always going to be extra difficult for my body.

My hips are fucked up. They're not sexy and round, but there's an indent between the hips and thighs.

It's like I have a perma-muffin top. And no matter how much weight I lose, it's always going to look like that.

>>166281
Same here. That's why I'm on a quest for 7-8% body fat.

Left knee is wankered, its agony if i bend my legs a lot, like in squatz, if anyone knows how to make it stronger then please, share.

>>166238

>> Anonymous
>>166287

Are you squatting right?

Squats are like the one best exercise to strengthen your knee joint; if done right that is.
>> Anonymous
>>166306

Im barely squatting at all, it hurts a lot and i have never known whether to persist in the face of it or to ease off.
>> Anonymous
>>166319

And by barely squatting at all i mean im not doing them often, but im doing them right, hip below knee ect.
>> Anonymous
>>166287
It might be your kneecap shifting to the side, I only bring this up because I currently have this problem.

I recommend going to a podiatrist or physical therapist to make sure, you'll probably need an xray at least. The last thing you want to do is ignore your knees because you can fuck things up a lot more if you just keep pushing them when something is wrong.

Bad back. I work through it, but I have to see a chiropractor about once a month.
>> Anonymous
i'm similar to you OP. I'm like 170 pounds with a noticeable pouch on my stomach, but you can see all my ribs.
>> Anonymous
>>166336
I guess I'm in a similar situation. I think the fat on my stomach is very noticeable but the rest of me is pretty thin. SO I'm stuck with losing my body fat and gaining muscle.
>> Anonymous
I was born with slow metabolism. I can only crap once or twice a week.
>> Anonymous
Same as you OP.
No matter how little fat I consume or how much I run, it never goes away.

I'm lacking the motivation to lose weight. 3 out of the 4 voices in my head are telling me to go for it, but should I really listen to them? Usually their advice gets me into trouble.
>> Anonymous
>>166350
I'm pretty sure that has very little to do with slow metabolism. It's probably because you eat very little fruit/vegetables/other healthy food.
>> Anonymous
I have really weak ankles and knees, so squatting and working my legs is really hard/painful.
>> Anonymous
>>166403
Well I'm not really sure, and my mother told me I crapped once a week even when I was a baby.
>> Anonymous
I do not have abdominal muscles, the surrounding area where the muscles should be just picks up the slack. My tummy is like a void.

I don't know if what I have has a name, the closest I can come up with is 'chronic patella dislocation'. Got it from my dad.

I can do squats with heavy weight and run without a problem, but if I strike the ground at just the right angle with just the right force, my kneecap will slip out of place and I drop to the ground in agony. This means pretty much any activity involving rapidly changing direction (basically all sports) are out of the question. Just the other day I was walking along grass and stepped in a shallow hole, and that two inch difference in elevation was enough to pull the kneecap out.

Even worse is that my knee never swells up or shows sign of injury, so nobody really believes me or can understand what it's like to walk around with a ticking time bomb in your knees. And I'm treated like I'm lazy or cowardly because I turn down invites to basketball or whatever, knowing my knee would give out in ten seconds.

Also, I have pretty bad trigger finger and I wake up with claws every morning. Takes hours before they warm up enough to use.

Oh, and I have bad rotator cuffs that feel fine 90% of the time, until one random day I'll wake up and be unable to move my arms.

My joints just fucking suck.

my body is unable to break up billirubin so it remains in the blood stream. My eyes will gradually turn a whitish yellow throughout my life, I'm 17 and it's already beginning to happen. The bright side however is the chances of me getting cancer drop, since bilirubin neutralizes free radicals, also I'll get to look as if I constantly have Ebola or something, if it accounts.

I had a tarcel coallition in my left foot. It is a condition where the fibers in my my foot were fusing together so that i would have one big bone structure in that foot instead of multiple bones. Made walking and running extremely painful, and i had to have it surgically fixed when i was 13. Im now 17 and have a 7 inch surgery scar in that foot, a sewn nerve in the scar because the surgeon sucked, partial numbness and loss of control of 3 toes on that foot because of the screwed nerve, and arthritis in that foot.

The good part is that insurance covered the surgery.

The bad part is that according to my doctor their is a 85-90% chance that ill develop the same thing in my right foot and have to go through the same surgical procedure on that foot before im 25 :(

Wide, womanly hips. They can't get much smaller than's in the picture. Also bad lower back and poor flexibility makes it hard to do SQUATZ and deadlifts.

I have a curved penis. Apart from that and heart palpitations I'm pretty well off, I'm tall, pretty smart and have tonnes of natural talent. Hooray for mom & pop.

I have to eat 3500 calories a day to even stay at 130 lbs. If i eat less I get even skinnier.

You fat fucks may like this since you get to stuff your faces, but i have to eat twice as much as I would comfortably to even look slim instead of like a bag of bones.
