So I started squats a few days ago. They seem like good shit. What are some other necessary compound exercises i can do? Deadlifts? I dont know any others.

Not quite. Both are full body workouts really.

Squats are mainly legs and the butt.
Deadlifts are mainly legs and the lower back.
