Hey /fit/ Ive been using a cross trainer atleast i think thats what its called, anyhoo a weights machine, along side my free weights. But ive also started pushups and sit ups more frequently. Anyway, whenever i do pull ups ive gone form doing about 3 then dieing to 10 which i think is pathetic still. Now i dont actually do them at all thuogh and i want to start so i can build endurance and strength.Anyway two questions. What muscle groups do pull ups actually effect? I'm guessing Lats, biceps and chest? possibly deltiod.Second is, my parents will kill me if i put a bar up permanently anywhere and theres no trees here and the lcosest gym is like 20 miles away so like it'll costy me too much personallly in transport and i dont fancy cycling that far every second day. So is there a temporary bar i can get for door ways and stuff? howm uch do they cost and what ar they actually called?Pic unrelated

Well there are trees but they dont have strong enuogh or low enuogh branches.
Playground monkey bars work for pull ups, if you have any playgrounds near you.
