guise, is there any large benefits to drinking purified bottled water than normal tap water? i know that it's good to drink a lot of water (a gallon a day, if not moar), but i just wanted to know if purified was better in any way. thx

No difference unless you live in... Africa?

>(a gallon a day, if not moar)

Unless you're sweating a dickload, that's too much. Drink enough so that your urine is consistently light yellow.

Buy a water purifier if you're worried about impurities.

I thought the goal was to make the water consistently clear.

I did some googling and found this page with a pee chart on it: http://www.firerescue1.com/columnists/Jim-Upchurch/articles/426726-The-Pee-Chart/

nice, thanks. so 100 fluid ouncez is 28 fl oz shy of a gallon...so i guess somewhere around a gallon would be fine to drink every day.

i don't know if there's any truth to this, but i've heard that purified water is actually not as good as tap water, because, while they do take out the 'bad' things in the water, all of the good stuff is also taken out. so i would assume tap water is fine.
