So here's the thing...

I'm 5'7" and I weigh 125 lb. As a male, that means I am a puny Auschwitz fag. I know for a fact that I will never be xbawks hueg with muscles, so I'm not all that concerned with bulking up. What I am interested in is taking advantage of the fact that I am fairly flexible (for example, I can bend backwards and touch the tops of my feet to my face... not like my forehead, but my whole face. Don't ask as to how I figured out how to do this...).

So, I'm wondering if there's anything good out there that would be some type of exercise that requires flexibility.

Ballet.

Lifting girls above your head all day is a good work out. Also doing splits while lifting girls?

First off, 5'7" 125 is not Auschwitz small, at least in 99% of the population. It's small, but not concentration camp thin.

Secondly, you probably never will be X-Bawkz hueg, but you DEFINITELY could put on a good bit of muscle to that frame and start looking a lot better. Don't just say "I'm skinny, i cant get musklez, oh no poor me". You don't have to be x-bawkz hueg to look good, or be healthy.

As for the flexibility stuff, fuck you. Do some yoga.

Unless they weigh like 50-75 pounds... uh... yeah.

But that is a possibility, I suppose... thanks.

Ballerinas aren't that light but they're not that heavy either.

Well I am thinking about doing some minor lifting, so I suppose I'll see what happens.

But lolo, unless there's more to yoga than doing basic stretches, I don't see the advantage of it.

Yeah, yoga's probably not necessary for you.

Anyway, seriously, look into some weight lifting at least. If you start eating the right foods, and the right amounts, and couple it with some lifting, you'll at least gain SOME muscle. You obviously consider yourself skinny now, so I'm sure you'd be happier with even another 10 or so pounds on your frame, which is definitely achievable.

As for your actual question, I still have no real good answer for ya. Good luck though >_>

There is body-weight lifting such as hand stands. There are other poses as well that rely on lifting body weight.

Its not all just stretches.

Ballerinas are ungodly hot. I had 2 friends who where both in ballet for 10+ years and they had the most amazing bodies. That in itself is reason enough to start ballet, to be around attractive (though unattainable D;) women all day.

Another nice benefit about ballet is, while building muscle, you also build self confidence. I mean, you'd have to be pretty confident to wear spandex.

I hadn't actually been considering ballet seriously before this, but I suppose it does make sense...

Oh damn.

I was essentially the same as you OP, I started working out a good 4 months ago. Honestly, just find a buddy and weight lift, you'll thank me later. I've gained a good 8 pounds, and it really shows.

what's the point in doing "minor lifting" or "light weight training"? if you're gonna lift there is no reason not to lift heavy.

You get to touch ballerina bums all day. Its like the best work out ever.
