hey /fit/,

been lurking here for a while now and i know its been stressed numerous times that its impossible to pinpoint a specific area to 'lose fat' from. I'm a 21 year old female, 5'7'' and about 115lbs. I don't work out as much as I'd like to, but I have a generally decent build. My stomach is mostly flat (on the good days), my obliques are pretty defined....HOWEVER, i have this silly little ring of fat around my navel area that i lovingly call my 'donut'. I want to get rid of it, but at my current BMI I don't think it might be worth it. What does /fit/ think? And if i should try working on it, any tips?

tl;dr: my stomach: how flat should i aim for?

I lovingly call fat a donut.

You've given it a name. Good God, you have fucked yourself.

OP here,

if you can excuse the terrible lens glares and my disgustingly deformed rib (I'm pretty sure i have an extra floating rib on that side)...there's my donut.

and>>107512, you'd be even more horrified to know that I've named my breasts after hockey players.

For better feedback, show a frontal shot and a profile shot. A quarter turn obscures most of the fat.

[OP] i suppose....this is one of my bloaty days (oh the joys of womanhood) so i'll just keep doing my regular routines and poke it every once in a while when it gets in the way =)

thanks /fit/

again, crappy picture quality, i should clean my mirror. heres the front, with me kinda puffing out my belly to show you the full effect of it (and a worst case scenario perspective of sorts..)

i can't really do a profile view, for some reason i lack the ability to take this picture myself. if my roommate comes home soon i'll ask her to do it for me

Don't worry OP, most women have a tiny bit of fat on their stomach, even when they are active. It's one of the joys of being a women.

OP here,

>>107560.... i lol'd

and for the most part, my body never usually bothers me, it's just that wonderful time of year (spring) when the warm weather starts rolling in and you have to bring your winter "insulation" out from hiding and see if at the beach it'll make people run in fear or not

=)

I'd wear a tee-shirt two sizes too small to accentuate it.

obscure?
