FAD DIETS Anonymous
I'm sure we've all heard them: the remarkeable diets that are so complicated are far fetched but promise to shed 20 pounds a month. All the fat people, skinny but unathletic college girls, and fags that think 100 crunches is a workout start talking about a new diet every fucking week.

Let's hear them guys..whats some of the most ridiculous bullshit you ever heard?

The worst i heard was some girls in my public relation class talking about a fruit and water diet. You drink a litre of water and as many fruit as you want for three meals. They said it was the best because you never have to go to the gym and since alcohol isn't a solid food, you can still binge drink 5 times a week and lose weight. The whole semester not one of these slam pigs looked any different or lost any weight...

i knew a girl who advocated the beer and cigerette diet.

for real, she lost about 30 pounds freshman because she would drink about 10-15 beers every night (1000-1500 calories) and smoke during the day to curb her appetite. She also slept so fucking much she barely ate.

I remember hanging out with this girl for a whole weekend and never see her consume anything more than 200 calories in real food. Everything else was beer and alcohol.

chicken tacos with a bunch of jalapeno's and hot salsa though is pretty decent.......have you guys tried those carb balance tortilla's they are pretty tasty...i also like the whole wheat ones but they aren't quite as tasty as the carb balance ones....

all that ACV does is slightly reduce the glycemic index of a meal if you take a diluted tablespoon 15 mins or so before eating.

the are nutrients in it but the amount is so small that it's neglegible

maybe too much hydrogenated vegetable oils and polyunsaturated fats from vegetables than monounsaturated fats and saturated fats from good animal sources.

but i doubt anyone that is obese has a diet that is more in fats than carbs, it just wouldn't make any sense because they are obese because their liver is built up fat from trying to process the hundreds and hundreds of grams of carbs they consume and makes them very inefficient fat burners.

Insated of scoffing my idea, research it and figure it out for yourself. It's out there. I'm sorry typing in "apple cider vinegar" on google isn't bringing up any articles. In case you found out, google doesn't count as research.

Not sure if anyone else mentioned it, but there's two that I know of:
-The Grapefruit Diet: The one where you're supposed to drink a glass of grapefruit juice before each meal and half a whole grapefruit each day. Supposedly, there's some "miracle property" in the grapefruit that helps you lose weight. It's been debunked, and says that if you lose any weight, it's due to the fact that you sucking the glass of grapefruit juice before the meal makes you less hungry.

-The Hollywood Diet: you can actually find this one in Walmart (which is how I saw it in the first place). It's this powder that you put in water and suck down. Within an hour, you're puking your guts out and your ass turns into a fire hose. Supposedly, you can lose 5 - 10 lbs. in 24 hours, but it's more because of dehydration than anything and it's DEFINITELY not healthy.

There was some other diet that I can't remember the name of now. You drank this stuff and fast for like...two weeks. It would make you shit out sludgey rubber stuff that was supposedly your body "cleansing itself" because it had nothing else "bad" to put in your system, and would get you to lose about 10 - 15 lbs in those two weeks.

The onus is on you to produce proof of evidence of when you make a claim. Not Anonymous. You're just a little bitch that's butthurt over the fact that there is NO evidence supporting your claims. In fact, I found direct evidence on PubMed contradicting it's benefits.
