Cycling Reading Material/ Ask a Cyclist Anonymous
Hey fellow Cyclists, do you have any books that you would recommend? Just something detailing the best way you can get power out of the pedal stroke and such. Basic technique or training pretty much. If not, I'm sure I can manage looking around, if any of you guys want, ask questions about cycling as a form of excercise.

It's a triple, meant for long rides. Allows you to regain some energy spinning in an easier gear towards the end. By long I mean century rides.

Yeah,>>357184answered it well. It allows you to do a full pedal stroke, instead of a 180 degree stroke. You gain not only the ability to do that, but a proper foot position. Also, you can generally do a higher cadence with clipless pedals.

If you need a triple, you fail.

If you use the granny gear on anything easier than a 12% climb, you double fail.

I live around a few nice hill climbs, so I was thinking about getting it just for versatility sake. Would you recommend just a compact double? It seems that's what most people are going towards now a days.
