You should eat a diet with 20% to 30% of good fat in it. That means fatty fish (salmon, halibut), olive oil, avacados, and other good shit like that.
The bigger thing is moderating portion size. A decent amount of water intake will help you control your eating because a lot of people eat when they're really just thirsty. So drink glass or two of water before a meal (and during the meal as well). Finally, fats also help you feel full. You could eat a can of tuna a piece of fruit and still be hungry, but if you eat the small tuna steak drizzled with a little olive oil, you'll feel more full (at least, I do).
