As a former fatty, I'm happy to have dropped 4 inches from my waist and lost about 40 pounds. I have since gained back 15, but with a lot more muscle.
Yes, I took fat burners, but only as a supplement to diet and exercise. Now it's all about creatine, whey, and SQUATZ!
I despise my chunky ex-brethren. I used to think losing weight was impossible as well, but then I actually did it. Was it easy? No. Was it a fast? No. Was it worth it? Hell yeah.
tl;dr: No more excuses, fatasses! Eat a damn salad with a bottle of water, then do some damn cardio!
