so I'm thinking about trying a new 5 day split but some of the exercises are shit like


>Flat Bench Press (vary between 4x6, 3x8, 10,8,6)
>Incline DB Press (vary between 12,10,8 to 3x12 to 3x8)
>Decline DB Press (vary between 12,10,8 to 3x12 to 3x8)

and I'm very much a fan of the 5x5 and want to continue stronglifts to put on plenty of mussle when I'm done with my cut but for now I think a 5 day split would better suit my cut, anyway can I do 5x5 with a 5 day split with these exercises?

You're still doing about 25 reps with 4x6 3x8 or 10,8,6.
You'll still put on some muscles, but the routine seems to be unnceseary complicated. I heard the chest grows quickly in size with higher reps so maybe you should try.

OP, I do something similar. But not exactly, I try to balance Power and Endurance.

My shedule for exercises.
1st day, 4*2-4, 85-95% RM.
2nd day, 3*15-20, 15-20% RM. (same muscle as day 1)
3rd day, rest.
4th day, same as 1st day.
5th day, same as 2nd day.
6th day, rest.
7th day, rest.

RM check, once a month.

Why do you rest two consecutive days? Is it to fill your 7-day routine with something? You could just make it a 6-day routine instead.

Wow, personally i think Incline DB press is the best chest exercise.. To me it feels easier to get "contact" with the muscles atleast compared to flyes or flatbench.
