Do fast food chicken strips have any nutrition whatever? Unlike globs of gray grease matter, chicken strips are not processed (they're cut pieces) coated in batter and deep fried. I'm sure the batter and deep fryer aren't all that healthy, but are the chicken strips still somewhat nutritional?

Looks like what I did this morning

yes, the chicken is chicken. It's protein.

they have protein. that's it. There are better sources of protein that you should go to. everything else in them is bad for you.

The chicken is good.
The fried batter is bad.
The sugary shit filled sauce dips are also bad.

shave off the nasty encrusted stuff

it'll probably the same as eating white chicken meat

OP here. I love the taste of Wendy's chicken strips just as they are and never use the dipping sauce. I'm pretty vanilla when it comes to my food.

Never put dressing on salads.
Only have ketchup on burgers and hot dogs.
Peanut butter on white toast.
Never put butter on dinner bread/rolls.
Usually only drink water, though I sometimes have chocolate milk.

As far as fast foods go, fried chicken stuff is probably the best (or least worst). It has a less than ideal amount of saturated fat, but if you're bulking or you just need a quick energy meal when there's no alternative, it's not going to kill you. Just don't go crazy with it.

Really, you can eat almost anything if you eat in moderation.

Even if you shave off the breading, it won't work, the chicken was soaked and saturated by the oil. Think of it this way, would you be asking the same question if you dipped a chicken strip in some motor oil?

NO chicken strips are not worth the little protein they have. make some at home if you want some cheat meals

Rubbish, they are all made from mechanically reclaimed meat. Thats when they put chicken carcasses into a large grinder/press and basically squeeze the remaining meat off the bones. Its the worst quality meat possible.

Unless your getting these from a place that specifically states they are using fresh/frozen whole chicken breasts.

i think it's been a year since i've had wendy's. man, i miss that sweet and spicy hawaiian sauce. anway, that stuff is still usually somewhat processed. you'll get protein, but it's definitely not worth it. go for the grilled chicken if you're eating fast food.
