hey, /fit/ I have a problem.

I'm a local rmusician in a band, and the only black member.

that being said, I am the only fat member, if you look at me you can see i'm not HUGE, but i have some pudge I'd want to get rid off.

my problem is commitment.

I want an excercise routine to help me thin out, but isn't boring or tedious.

there has to be some way, could you help me out?

I'll write an awesome metal song for you if you help...

eat food that don't have high fructose cornsyrup, or hydrogenated oils in them.

Eat five smaller meals a day. Look up high intensity interval training. Lift some weights, while you do cardio, that way you'll retain the muscle you got as a fatty.

Here's my advice for getting in shape: Stay away from the high-salts and arti-sweetners. Cut the amount of carbs you eat in half. (If you eat three sandwiches a day with 6 slices of bread, have 3 instead.) Cycling is all well and good but I can't see how you're going to get around running. Its a must in my own experience but walking/hiking ain't bad either. Oh yeah, drink water when you work out or when your thirsty.

Finally, get a Gym membership, it doesn't have to be fancy or have the bitches from the fitness mag's in 'em. Just a treadmill and some weight lifting equipment. 30 minutes of cardio to burn fat, 45 mins of weights to build muscle. (SMALL breaks in between each exercise)
