Dear /fit/,

I'm 6'3, and over the past 6 months I've gone from 230lbs to 165, and I have this hideous extra skin bullshit around my waist. My pecs and arms and legs and everywhere else filled out fine, but I can't get rid of this goddamned floppy loose shit. Can I fix it, or am I fucked for being a fatass teenager?

Pic unrelated.

I have been. I run a 6 mile trail 4 days a week, and I can actually run most of it without having to slow down. That's a big part of how I lost all the weight. I eat pretty regularly, and I get lots of fruit, veggies, a little meat. I try to mix it up. What am I doing wrong?

HIIT, huh? Well, if I'm reading my google right, I sprint/walk/sprint/walk and so forth until I collapse. Is that about right?

I went down from 250lbs to 160lbs and i had a shitton of xtra skin. Over the years it's tightened up, skin has a good amount of elasticity

it will tighten up again. It will take years though, so unless you're willing to have surgery done you're just going to have to wait.

Peppermint oil is good in small does on small heavy problem areas but apart from that it's just a matter of time

late teens or twenties or wouldn't worry about it. i dropped 120 pounds over about a year and got the same thing. it was gone in a couple. keep at your muscle work because that certainly helps. muscle takes time to develop really well and properly. this is the reason that some say bodybuilding is a middle-aged man's game. always remember that
