Hey /fit/.

I have a problem. I want to slim down, but I have no weight training equipment, and I'm too poor to afford a membership at the gym. Another thing is that I have a real problem with doing repetitive things. Like push-ups I have trouble getting through them cause of sheer boredom, but clap push-ups I can do forever.

I really don't know where to start. I've read stuff about HIIT and having a good balance of cardio and strength training but quite frankly I'm clueless about where to start.

Look up "The Naked Warrior". That's probably exactly what you're looking for.

get an mp3 player, or blast music from the computer while working out.

sounds like you need motivation.

I don't think I'll have a problem with getting motivated. My stomach is getting unacceptably large, and all my friends are toning up.

$40 AT B&N FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF... I'll check it out. Thanks for the suggestion.

Oh wow. Thanks a lot!

So I got a resistance band for $20. Was that a good idea?

Return it and get a squat rack instead.
