Poppy fizz Anonymous
Good morning, /fit/

I've resolved to cut cola out of my diet (sweet, delicious cola...), and all other species of soft drink too. I'm going down from about 2 litres a week (about 67.5 fluid ounces for americans).

I'm fairly well new to this whole self-improvement thing - has anybody else tried similar? Does anybody know what kinds of results one gets from this kind of action?

America measures soda in liters too.

I've been cutting out coke from my diet for around 2 months now. Trust me, its worth it though. I don't know about OP, but I had pretty good skin. I'd get the odd few pimples here and there, but nothing on a serious scale. I don't get as much as I used to now since I cut sodas out of my diet. I've also saved a lot on drinks between uni and home (about 1.5-2 hours >_<) by drinking water from home/fountains instead of buying something along the way. I also noticed that juices and that tasted slightly better. I was used to drinking coke and getting a mouthful of fizzy crap, but then I changed to juices and they seemed more "full" I guess is what you could call it. It just seemed to have a bit more flavor.

you shouldnt slowly cut soda out of your diet. Force yourself to do it cold turkey. I used to be a skinny ass bitch, drinking soda cans like it was going out of style now i gained 35 pounds and eat extremely healthy and workout like a madman.
