Not really because running's main use of energy is to propel your body forward, and up and down any slopes. You could do it but you really wont burn a lot of energy and honestly you wont like it and will stop after a few days. What you could do instead is get a box or something and do step exercise on that, like the step up and down type shit. That way you really are using muscles to lift you and do action.
