How do I get better self discipline? I binge eat way too much :C
>> Anonymous
binge on healthy food by surrounding yourself w/ it. also you can take up drugs, some of those can keep you from eating. though you'll be fucked as far as discipline goes.

Put less food on the plate.

I'm at my dads place and he has all sorts of unhealthy stuff in the fride. Maybe it'll get better once I go back to uni.

Maybe start a food diary so I can see what I'm eating.

The main problem is discipline. Sometimes I wish I had slight anorexia.

I did run before summer vacation. My spine is fucked right now, somehow, I even have slight paralysis in my left foot. Not sure if running is good with that condition.

I wouldn't say I'm fat. I just have bad eating habits.

this guy is right: Assuem that you are inherently lazy, meaning you won't go severely out of your way to get something, so if you remove any of the really bad stuff in your house, or places you go regularly, you won't eat it. You'll crave it, but because you, and everyone else, is lazy, you'll find something else to eat, and if thats a healthy thing, you're on your first step.

eventually you'll stop craving some of the bad stuff, and start craving the good stuff.

also, you should invest in rubber bands. Take one that fits just loosely around your wrist. When you have a craving, snap the rubber band hard on your wrist. If you actually have a binge, do it twice, then keep going about your day.

something you need to know about discipline is that when it breaks, you need to go on about your life, and not dwell on it. If it happens, keep going.

Good tips.

I particularly like this idea:
>also, you should invest in rubber bands. Take one that fits just loosely around your wrist. When you have a craving, snap the rubber band hard on your wrist. If you actually have a binge, do it twice, then keep going about your day.

Only problem is that my gf is a recovered anorexic and she would probably start asking questions if she noticed the rubber band.

Whenever I feel like binging, I jump on youtube, type in "fat" and watch a few videos. Not only do I lose my appetite, I feel like working out/jogging afterward. 2 stones 1 fat dead bird. Lost 60 pounds(fat) since May doing this.

That's a good tip :D And 60 pounds is a lot, way to go.
I think I want to lose 15 pouns, guess I could do it in 2 months if I quit eating so much unhealthy food.
