Durring cutting they say that I should stick to a high fat and protein diet 'cuz the oxidation of fat gives off energy during hiit or pumping iron.

So how does this work? I thought I had to eliminate fat in my diet wtf.

Do I only eat high fats pre hiit? or all the time?

eat high fat meals after cardio, but make sure you have protein in each meal

Do not listen to this troll.

Dietary fat is NOT bad for you. You need it. Restricting any type of food will screw you over in the long run. Just eat normally, but healthy. Eating protein after workouts though is generally a good idea.

Polyunsaturated (which includes omega 3) > monounsaturated

yes, but make sure its not all of one specific type of nutrient - i.e. dont eat 65 g of fat if you only have 120 g of carb in a day (RDA for carbs is 300 g)

I don't understand, could you rephrase that for someone of a lower IQ?

What would you eat if you were cutting?

I think it'd be helpful for you to join www.thedailyplate.com and read up on the forums. If you only eat 1500 calories a day, you want to make sure it's balanced. The RDAs are balanced based around a 2,000 or 2,500 calorie diet. You have to lessen them for the proper balance if you eat less.

general consensus is to eat 500 less than your normal caloric intake when cutting. just balance proteins/fats/carbs and you will be fine.
