hey /fit/fags,

i run a lot (30-35 miles a week). i'm going to begin marathon training as soon as i pick a marathon.

i'm going to start a new core program, which is basically this: http://www.runnersworld.com/article/0,7120,s6-238-263-266-12415-0,00.html

for these exercises (the first two) how many reps should i do? it's basically holding a position, but it doesn't specific how many to do (other than to do the routine three times a week).

Hope you are done growing. I marathon trained as a sophomore and had irreversible damage done to the growth plates of my knees by the end of my junior year of high school. Marathons are for adults.

lulz you fail. I ran the marathon Chicago marathon, training my junior year, summer, and then the begining of my senior year. And I'm not stunted or anything. lrn2 taper

what kind of strength training did you do? any cross training (cycling, etc)?
