/fit/, I am 18, 5'11ish and 238 lbs...
I want to lose weight, and have no idea where to start, guessing my diet...
I drink soda... A LOT OF FUCKING SODA (Guessing eliminate or ween/drink diet)
I smoke weed (IDKLOL But munchies sometimes get the best of me)
I drink Alcohol on occasion with my friends (High sugar from the alcohol blah)
I eat a lot of high calorie shit, while sitting on my ass and playing WoW.
Like I said, no fucking idea what to do to get into better shape...
I don't want a six-pack or anything, I just want to lose some weight and my bitch tits.

wrong. Eat 5 smaller meals a day. 2 of them should only be fruits and veggies. Make sure your biggest meal is breakfast, and they get smaller, until dinner which is the smallest.

How often is "on occasion" and in what proportions? Any more than 3-4 drinks a week (and not on the same day) is not good for your liver. So cut it out.

Pot IS carcinogenic. About as much in a joint/cig ratio as cigarettes.

However, as pointed out, it takes one hell of a pothead to smoke the same amount of pot as your average smoker smokes tobacco.

Still, I don't see any reason to smoke pot. In addition to all the disadvantages of smoking cigarettes, its illegal and further complications can come up from smoking it (failed drug tests for employment, wrong place + wrong time tossing you in jail, etc.)

You remind me of how I was a year ago, and I weighed exactly as much as you did and roughly the same height ( im 5'10.) And i had 90% almost the same exact habits; frequent online gaming, no exercise, shitty ass diet, didnt have a pound of muscle on me, couldnt bench or lift for shit and the good ole MJ.
I was able to to go down to 214, and gain 10 pounds of muscle, throwing me to 224, though now i need to tone and make my muscles more defined, and lose my keg with more cardio.
The things that i did where :

1. Cut out all processed junk food. All i ate for 6 months where lean cuts of meat, vegetables, and fish. NO FAST FOOD WUT SO EVER.
2. Drink Nothing but water. I stopped drinking juices and teas because they have sugars, and at 238 you dont need anymore of that shit. NO SODA WUT SO EVER.
3. CARDIO. CARDIO. CARDIO. Run. When i first did cardio at 238lbs i could barley hit a mile without having a fat attack, but like with anything you need consistency and practice. Up the amount you run progressively as you get used to it.
4. If you can, get a gym pass or something. being at a gym helps motivate you to lose the weight.
5. If you can lift some weights. Dosent really matter on how much, just some. Wight lifting helps drop the pounds.
6. Keep at it and dedicate yourself to your plan. There where times when i wanted to give up, but fucking you just cant. Think about that your life depends on this, cause seriously it really does.

7. FUCKING PROFIT

do this:

eat cereal and a fruit at breakfast. try to eat good cereals, like those fiber ones. otherwise, eat Total or Special K. remember to fucking measure and eat the normal serving size. when I was fat, I poured so much damn cereal in the bowl, probably at least three cups.

for lunch, eat some sort of sandwich. there are many good kinds to eat, such as chicken, turkey, tuna, or at times, a peanut butter. don't add useless junk to it, like cheese or mayo.

I can't really recommend something for dinner, since I'm not quite sure what you eat. stuff like pasta, soup, sandwiches, rice, etc. remember to measure up.

bookmark this site: www.calorie-count.com, and check everything you eat to make sure you don't overeat. measure everything.

the basic thing to remember is that you shouldn't eat more calories than you can burn everyday. to figure this out, check out this site:http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/. Note that, it does over calculate at times for overweight people, but it should give you a general idea.

cardio. do some damn cardio. there are many great things to do with cardio, but it's sometimes harder for fat people. do not do running. running will fuck your knees up, and if enough damage is done, you'll be living with knee pain for the rest of your life. instead, do things like biking, ellipticals, or walking on treadmills. These things can be boring, especially when you first start, so try to head out to a gym, since they usually have a tv installed into the machine. do 30-60 minutes of total cardio a day.
