Hey /fit/, any of you do track?I do the 400M and 800m.I have a problem, I just went for a run and my legs felt weaker than normal and I just couldn't push properly.I eat pretty healthy and had a good dinner, did I not eat enough or something.. Anyone know? I'm doing the 800M tomorrow.Also, any tips for running the 800m?

To run 800m good. You have to practice for a 900m/1000m run.To run 400m good. You have to practice for a 500m/600m run.

Leave strength training for the off-season. In-season, the only thing you should be worrying about is your endurance and keeping in shape. RUN RUN RUN. Google some specific training programs, or even better - ASK YOUR COACH.
