The rule of thumb is that under 10% bf(or is it 8%?), and your abs should be visible, provided you have relatively strong abdominal muscles. For weight loss, you can do a 40/40/20 split (40% carbs, 40% protein, 20% fat), or ketogenics. I don't know much about keto, but it involves using fat stores as energy, so you'll be eating no carbs, but plenty of fat.
