Well, you called my bluff.
Anyways, here's what you need to do.
Go see a doctor. Make sure that you can even work out. You think I'm kidding but if your knees are too weak to run then why in the hell would you want to do that before you build up your knee muscles?
Anyways, start off with light cardio after that. Get your heart rate up to 100 during your warm up, then shoot for 135-140 on the elliptical or the treadmill. The elliptical is easier to get your heart rate up on and it's easier on the knees.
Next do some basic stuff with weights. Try lunges if your knees are feeling up to it. Do calf raises and all that jazz. Actually, go to a gym and have them give you a free tutorial on free weights. That way you know you're not fucking shit up on your form like I did today and just hurting the hell out of your neck.
Anyways, do that, get free weights, like 2 12 pound weights, do what the trainer says to do. WRITE SHIT DOWN.
Put down the McDonalds but don't kill yourself with dieting.
