so apparently im so out of shape that i pulled a muscle in my lower left back after 2 days in my ped 100 class. this thing hurts like a bitch, so what are some exercises or stretches /fit/ would recommend to make it heal faster?

stretch it out 2 times a day, ice, hot 5 min/cold 3 min/hot 5 min/cold 3 min showers
so i should apply heat for 5 mins, then cold for 3 mins, then heat, then ice...?are there any specific stretches i should do? i also heard that sleeping on a stiff board would help, but that just sounds retarded
