>>17039 err the conventional idea of toning muscle is that your muscle is naturally a blob shape, and working it out cause it to become square shaped, when in reality the more muscle there is, and less fat, more the visible the 'conventional idea of muscle tone' is. so working them out can cause them to look more tone, but you can do the same by loosing weight. like i said earlier, skinny people can have a 'toned' six pack without even trying, but have absolutely no 'tone' in the pectoral muscles because they dont have enough muscle to show through the skin and thin layer of fat. in this scenario, attempting to 'tone' them by working them out would actually show results, not because it changes the shape, but size.
