I would like to get at a new Mp3 Player. My primary use is when working out and would like to spend <USD300.

What do you fella’s use / recommend? There are so many in the market now it’s easy to get lost. Thanks.

Ipod I would say. If you're gonna use it mostly for working out, I say a nano. Or a shuffle.

My own little fuck you to convention: get a Sansa Clip.

Like a Shuffle, but half the price and you get a screen. Mine fucking rocks.

Do what I did, find someone who is getting rid of their old iPod (in my case it was a 30GB model) because it's broken. Only get it from them if it's the HD or the battery, I'm not sure how easy screens are to replace + how much they cost.

But I got the broken iPod for free, and I bought the replacement HD online for 40 bucks. Took about a week before I was able to actually use it, due to shipping on the HD, but in the end 50~ bucks was well worth it.

I use a cheapass MP3 player for mindless cardio.

However, the little earphones keep malfunctioning or end up getting destroyed, so I always have to get new ones.
