Follow GI? I'd go see your GP to get advice if you think you may have a family tendency.

There are a couple of different types of it, depending on what your body metabolizes well and what it doesn't. Each type correlates with a certain food type, simple carbs and proteins being the two that I know of, but I bet others are out there.

Type 1 is genetic I think. To avoid type 2 just don't let yourself become obese, especially if you're over 35.

how do you have the time to find a site like this and post on it without being able to research something as general and well-published as diabetes? you are a fucktard and no one should humor you, or the masses of other posters like you, with a response.

You are at risk if you smoke, drink, are a fatty, dont exercise, have high blood pressure, eat unhealthily, have a relative who has it.

the 3 biggest risk factors are age, fitness, and family history

if you're over 40, overweight and have an immediate family member with it, you will get it.
