I have been running for a bit now, and last night I got a blister on the ball of my right foot. Inspection of the stock insoles that came with my boots shows it is worn through on the that spot. However my left insole isn't worn there. As such my question is two fold. What is a good brand/model of athletic insole(male size 15 us shoe)? What can I do to correct my running as to not put so much on the ball of the right foot?

Cute wittle kitty!

Also, just go to a specialty store that has a machine that shows whether your foot pronates/supinates when you walk. Dick's Sporting Goods has one (at least mine does). You CAN do a home test by wetting your foot and walking over a piece of paper, but you'll still need a store that knows what the hell pronate/supinate means, all of which will probably have a machine to check it anyways.

To fix your running posture, try "tip toe" running. It won't necessarily correct your favoring of your right leg, but it will virtually eliminate the impact of running on your feet.

Run in small clockwise circles.
