If you're in horrible shape, which you obviously are 'cuz of the moobs, start with biking or swimming. After a while move on to running. Don't run on cement. Don't jog.

Cut your food intake down. Do Tabatas 2-4 times a week.

Add a refeed day now and then. I do it by feeling with great results - then again, I HAVE some feeling. For you peons, feelings are gay (no matter what feelings), so you better stick to some plan a big, burly guy gives you.

Why is swimming not as good as running? Biking I can understand because the bike is helping you out.
