Dear /fit/ How do I knew when I had enough exercise for one go?

I mean when should I stop a workout in order not to overdo it and damage my own muscles or underdo it and get no good results? Do I have to keep a record for every day?

In exchange for infromation I post you some Jelly Rolls!

Aim for no more than 60 minutes of lifting and 60 minutes of cardio per day.

You typically get the best results from 30-45 minutes of cardio that brings your heart rate to 70% of its max.

If you're on a machine that count calories, use that as a guide. I go for about 350 cal before I call it quits.

If youre going everyday, try to burn about 250 a day at a good clip.

Also I drink exetreme amounts of tea with lotsa sugar becasue I hate coffee, I drink tea when I get up and when I eat and when I get heome when I get to bed, all the time.

HIIT is about twenty minutes a few times a week. Definitely worth looking into.

If youre serious about getting fit, start by cutting the sugar and eating a bit more food. You don't have FORCE yourself to eat, just buy some healthy food and have it around. When you exercise a lot you will naturally get hungry and eat a lot.

I recommend jogging as it gives you a full body workout, which is what you need. Swimming would work too, but jogging is more practical. There's lots of websites on the net which give advice for beginners. Seek em out if it's something you want to do. That's how I got started btw.

I don't recommend HIIT for someone who isn't already athletic. Better to start easy and work your way up.
