was curious... anyone on /fit/ use New Blanace shoes for running?Currently I have a pair of DR. Scholes that my doctor recommended but they fail. They are comfortable but when it comes to running they don't give much impact support.Someone was telling me NB shoes are pretty pro for running, any users that can confirm if they like the NB for running? Or can recommend a good brand for impact support/comfort for hour long runs?
I ran 20 miles on sunday with a pair of NB shoes. They aren't godly or anything but they weren't crap either. They felt exactly the same as my Saucony's. I think it really depends more on the foot than the shoe.Go to a FleetFeet store if there is one in your area. The people there would be able to help you a lot more than all these /fat/fags.
>>293625kk good idea, I'll go this weekend when I have some free time, my current shoes piss me off for running.thanks.
BUY PUMA MOTHERFUCKER. I DID, NOW LOOK WHERE I AM!
>>293611i have them, i got a sole replacement too.. feels godly compared to my vans.. however dont buy gel inserts shit lasts like a week.
pros could easily outrun you even if they are wearing bowling shoes
>>293639in all seriousness, I use puma and they're the most comfortable I've experienced for extended amounts of time.
Asics, son. NB aren't bad, but I've never have very good luck with them as a real running shoe. Also, the fleet feet suggestion is good.
