hey /fit/,

i'm new to this dieting business and have a couple of questions:

1. should how tall you are affect your calorie intake?
2. i'm eating 6 small meals a day at about 2.5/3 hour intervals but i still remain HONGRY. will this wear off after a while?
3. temptation sucks. what do you do when your craving thats beckoning you to devour it?
4. what are some easy to make weight loss orientated type foods?

1. yes. calculate your BMR.
2. I hope so. Drink water, eat more fruits for fibre
3. Don't have any such foods in the house
4. Tuna/chicken breast/egg white on whole wheat, fruit salad, vegetable salad

Protips : No calories form liquids, only water
No fast food
Oats in skim milk
Large breakfast, medium lunch, small dinner
don't eat 2 hours before sleeping

to number 2, if you are only dieting, then you SHOULD feel hungry. If you wanna be a man then exercise and eat right. If you wanna be a woman, eat very little and be hungry. Up to you.

i am "exercising". mostly jogging. i'm TRYING to build up enough stamina for HIIT. but yes, i'm interested in being manly.

heres what helped me lose about 50 lbs
-no more soda or sweet tea,just water
-only eat meat,vegetables,and fruit that means no bread,cake,cookies,pasta,etc
-eat as much as you want,but make sure you workout hard 3-4 times a week and do a lot of moving around outside of the gym

if you eat only that I guarantee youll get tired of chewing all the time before you eat too much and if you got a good workout plan you should be fine

I dunno if your BMR calculator had a provision for activity level, if it did, subtract 500 cals from it and that should be your daily calorie intake for losing weight

You don't build up stamina to do HIIT, you do HIIT to build up stamina. If you can only do one interval, then do only one interval. That would be far more effective than some bullshit jogging.
