/fit/, What is overtraining? Give me an honest answer. I'm 13, pretty fit, and I lift weights (mostly upper body.) I'm not on a specific diet, and I don't really have a set workout- but I work out hard. Are you supposed to work your muscles as hard as you can when you work out? I go to the gym once a week and do 4 exercises plus the ab machine. I can feel the soreness in my muscles for 2 or 3 days after working out. Is it better to train frequently and not train the hardest you can, or is it more efficient to work out the hardest you can, even if you feel strained? Personally, I wouldn't be able to stomach the latter, as I feel like I have to try my hardest when it comes to physical exercises.
Pic unrelated, not gonna make Anon feel bad.

you shouldn't work out when you're 13, it'll stunt your growth
