Hey /fit/, halp.

I'm about 5"11-6", 175lbs. I'm not that fat, but I'm definitely not skinny. I want to lose up what I've got, and I need some guidelines. I've went down from 210lbs already, and weight loss has gotten harder even though my diet has stayed the same. I can understand that. Exercise wise, I usually spend 30 minutes skating a day, and on sat/sun I usually bike for 3 hours each day. It's not real intense biking, it's just around town stuff. I've been dieting for two years, and I've gotten impatient with it. I've completely given up sodas for tea/water, limit junk food, ect.

easiest way to lose weight/look better is simply to gain muscle.

this requires lots of heaving lifting and a strict, but most importantly CONSISTENT diet.

I don't know anything at all about muscle building/lifting. I started going to the gym a few months ago, and I couldn't keep it up because my schedule is very inconsistent. I go to school/work, and sometimes I only get a day or two off a week.
