I'm an ectomorph (6', ~140lb) and i haven't worked out in a few years. I decided to start working out again doing some push ups, crunches, and squats. However, i've always had trouble working out my pects. So /fit/, any suggested workouts to build muscle, specially the chest?

try to work yourself up to one armed pushups.

there are two ways to make it easier
1 widen your legs O-|--<
2. do them off of stairs, or chair or something

If you want to use weights, then benchpress is always good. If your trying to build mass then remember to keep your reps between 6-12 and try to go to failure.

building mass quicker is really more like between 4-8

Low reps works for building strength not really mass.

i bought a weight bench (olympic sized) for home. I've seen some great improvement in my chest doing bench presses with proper diet to build bulk.
