I'm about 30lbs heavier than I'd live to be, complete with flabby thighs and a pudgy little gut.

What are some good exercises for losing weight and NOT gaining muscle? I just want to be slim without serious muscle definition.

Exercising in general encourages fat burning. Probably cardio.

From the way you're talking I'm guessing that you're a girl....Or a very feminine guy...If you are a girl do not worry about gaining muscle. As a woman, you are unable to gain "manly" definition. Lifting weights is great for a woman's figure. Do cardio with squats, abs, and dumbbell workouts...all the shit you see everyone else doing. Also...The number one thing you can do to lose weight is simply lowering your caloric intake...Losing weight does not necessarily require exercise, although the healthiest way to go about it involves exercise.

Actually you won't lose much weight unless you eat less. A great deal of the calories are already absorbed at that point. Most bulimics don't lose weight at all. They usually stay where they are when they began. This is obviously not the case for those that greatly restrict their diet AND purge...Anorexic/Bulimic

Victoria's Secret models beg to differ.

Also, complex carbs are not taken till the intestines i believe, so it depends on what you eat. I am only joking in case youre stupid enough to do what I say though. You'll run into more problems than it's worth.
