Stretch Marks Anonymous
I've had stretch marks since the hit of puberty and I have them in a few areas, namely breasts, thighs and hips. I've used two products, but they require daily appliance on the skin and you tell me it's a nice sensation to have creamy legs and bewbs.

More than that, there's no way to get rid of them completely, as much as I know, so my motivation to use the products kinda flunks... Still, as you can barely see in the picture, my stretch marks got white from using the products from time to time (or getting older), which is a lot better then the purple colour they came with (see Wikipedia's for a picture of that!).

So, /fit/, what you gotta say about it? Any experiences or advices to share?

I've got stretch marks on my stomach. They became less noticeable when I started going to the beach more and got a tan.

You've actually read wikipedia on it, and you think the products HELPED by letting the stretch marks form scar tissue? That's what the white stretch marks are. Scar tissue. It's there for life. The products did jack all, because even if you left it alone, it would turn to white scar tissue ANYWAY.

Stretch marks are literally parts of your skin being torn apart, and blood rusing into the area, which causes the initial purple/red colour.

Tanning causes the outermost layers to turn darker and hide the stretch marks a little over the years, but you've got to live with it.

Most stretch mark products, including Palmer's Cocoa Butter, is supposed to be used to PREVENT stretch marks happening by injecting fat into the skin and making it supple. it does nothing to existing stretch marks, purple or white.
