Red Spots/Stains on Penis Anonymous
Hey, /fit/

I'm having a chronic problem with my penis. I have those red spots that appear from time to time around the head (and sometimes in the head, as the form of a stain). This has happened the last two years. The first two times that I went to a doctor (two different doctors) told me that it was only bacteria and he gave me a medicinal cream (Tetraderm) which made that stuff disappear.

The third and fourth time I went to the doctor (yet again, two different doctors, one quite qualified), sent me to the lab to get tested for herpes (along with some other stds, like HIV, HPV, hepatitis, syphilis, etc). I tested negative for everything, both times (there was an 8 month gap between evaluations).

But still, this keeps happening. And every time it happens, all i have to do is clean up and use that medicinal cream, and that stuff disappears in a couple of hours.

They (almost) never hurt, nor smell.

What does /fit/ thinks? Anyone had this problem before or something like it? Is it only bacteria or maybe herpes (someone, not a doctor, told me that the herpes virus was very difficult to detect).

Picture related, its my penis. Its flacid, so any kind of "small penis is small" comment wouldnt make any sense.

Please help, /fit/.

it clears up within hours of application?

If the antibacterial cream clears it up, then its prob a very strange bacterial infection.

The fact taht its on your dick, leads me to think that it is a viral strain of herpes, but I dont know what genetial warts actually looks like.

Questions: Do you pull your foreskin back and wash your dick every day in the shower? Do you shower after sex? Do you wear condoms the ENTIRE time you have sex?

o yea, I know its your dick and all, but a better picture would help, since all i can really see is that little spot...or is that it?

I tried to take a better picture, but couldnt (I'm still trying though).

The last time I had sex (or any kind of sex) without a condom, was almost three years ago. Since then, I use condoms every time.

As for the questions:

a) Almost every time I shower I pull my foreskin back and wash it. When I'm in a hurry, I dont do it. (One doctor told me it was a higiene issue)

b) Yeah, I shower after sex

c) I use condoms every time since three years ago.

Also, sometimes I masturbate a lot. Everytime I finish, not everytime I go to the sink and wash my dick. Sometimes I just clean with napkin. And I noticed that when I get those red stains/spots, there are slight remains of dry semen. So maybe it could only be bacteria or a higiene issue, but I dont know.

ok, it looks blotchy...and part of your head looks pale...coincidentally where the blotches are. It doesnt look like they are bumps though. Am i correct in my observation?

Yeah dude. This very well could be a hygiene issue. But in general, you need to pull back ur foreskin and wash your dick every time you shower, and ESPECIALLY after you have sex (and make sure you pee too if you arent wearing a condom if shes on birthcontrol and you both are tested clean of stds)

When you jerk off, be a little more hygienic so that your semen dont sit and curdle between your head and the foreskin.

but answer my question about the paleness

Yeah I know, higiene should be a priority.

Regarding the paleness, its not, its just a lighting effect of the camera flash.

By the way, this is a picture from 2 minutes ago. The red bumps (not really bumps, more like reddish flat spots or stains) are almost gone. And I just applied the antibacterial cream less than an hour ago.

quick question:

did u jerk off before the blotchy rash appeared?

You might have just damaged your skin enough for bateria/fungi to attack you...ie why the cream works.

As in, do you use lube or lotion when u jerk off? Probably should wash your hands before you touch your dick too.

Do you get the blotchy syptoms after sex too?

if you do use lube or lotion, u might have an allergic reaction to something in it...

but the fact that the antibacterial cream works, its prob the beaking of the skin and bacteria getting in.

SO, my verdict is:

1 Be gentle when you handle your dick
2 Wash it with the foreskin pulled back at least once a day; an additional time if you have sex/jerk off
3 After you wash it, make sure that you dry the head of your dick before you roll your foreskin back onto your head
4 make sure that when you pee, you pull your foreskin back

Proper hygiene should prevent any further symptoms

good luck anon

Hmm interesting question.

Those blotchs appeared this morning, just after I masturbated. And i never use any lotion or lube while jerking off. Its mainly dry hand humping.

Never has happened while/after sex.

Thanks mate, Will do that, religiously.

I would shake your hand, but...ehm, you know.
Update: rash/stains/spots are completely gone. 1 hour and a half after applying the antibacterial cream

NP dude. Glad my advice is appreciated.

Just dont take the 'washing' to the extreme. Use soap, but dont use antibacterial soap, which would kill any healthy bacteria on your skin, while strengthening any of the tougher bugs.

Your skin is a natural barrier to intruders like bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Just keep it clean, and your body will naturally protect you.

happy for you that the spots are gone. =)

Wash your penis dipshit

It sounds like you have balanitis, which is just a fancy term for an inflammation of the penis head from bacteria.

Be gentle when you fap and throughly clean the area with pH balanced 'sensitive' soap, like Dove. Just give it a quick wash in the sink once a day.

wtf is with people washing their dicks in the sink? Are you a homeless scab washing up in a public restroom? I dont think so, since you have internet.

The sink is where you wash your face/hands.

Take a fucken shower.

Wear boxers. Tighty whities can foster more bacterial growth because your boys are scrunched together all sweaty. Mustard nuts isn't fun.

o hi. Easy solution to this is...

TAKE A SHOWER ONCE A DAY. If you get sweaty and dirty at some point in the day, TAKE ANOTHER SHOWER. If your clothes get soiled/dirty, STOP WEARING THEM AND WASH THEM.

There. Solved your bacterial growth problem.
