So /fit/,
I recently got a gym membership and I've been running/lifting a little, seeing good results.
Anyways, yesterday when I came home and got in the shower, I saw on my right shoulder, near the armpit, these weird marks.
They're definitely not stretch marks, I can't feel them on the skin, they don't hurt, not the same color, and they're not going in one angle like stretch marks.
I've had stretch marks before and these are definitely not stretch marks.
What they are are a dark red/rust/brown color, 3 spots about the size of a dime and 5 lines that are scattered across each other horizontally, vertically, and diagonally, looking completely random in how they formed.
They have no texture, the skin feels completely normal, not sore or anything.
I just started benching and I'm only lifting 125.
What are they? Burst blood vessels? torn veins? Are they permanent?
Pic related, except it's on my right shoulder, not left.

Sorry, poor collegefag that can't afford a camera.
Maybe I'll borrow my room mates when he gets home.
The picture is a bit off, though, the marks are more of a dark rust color.

I'm DEFINITELY not over doing it, I lift very little.
Also, if they are stretch marks, how do you explain the spots?

This? I've only recently got them probably around the same time I increased my bench.

No.
You'll notice yours are a pink color, go in one direction, and leave a different texture on the skin.
Mine are dark rust/brown, sporadic direction and shape, and have absolutely no texture or feel.
They almost look like a bruise I would say, but why are they only on one shoulder and I haven't been doing hardly much lifting to even be sore after or had anything hit me.
wtf.
