Question /fit/, will push ups and the variations (diamond push ups, 10 sec push ups) be enough to gain pecs such as the ones show in this pic?

And if it isn't enough, is there a work out that doesn't require weights to do it?

Or will I have to go to the gym and do bench presses/incline/decline?

I can't afford a gym membership. I have to pay for school, food, rent, and utility bills.

I'm not talking about only doing the generic push ups tho.
What about the one handed push up, the clapping push up and the push up where you elevate your feet?

uhm not. to get pecs like that. u need to work out. and take many. many supplements. if u want more toned pecs though, try wide hand push ups that targets your pecs more. but no u HAVE to work out with many supplements in order to get pecs like that

well.. 1 handed push ups dont work your pecs too much, it mainly works your tri's and shoulders, and elevated push ups work the top of your pecs rather than the bottom, which is where all of the definition comes from. to work the bottom u would need a decline bench press. or something similar

It CAN, but I don't think you can get enough weight to safely stay on your back for it to be too amazingly useful.

But, do all variations of pusups, including having your feet raised, as well as leaning into a wall with your hands on it aimed out to the sides a bit. Not sure which muscles it works exactly, but when I tried wrestling they had us do that, so meh.

Push-ups are useless. Even if you do them with your feet raised, you'll never get the kind of definition nor mass that you want.

even proper diet and proper weight training will not guarantee a chest like that. its not some secret formula to get a chest like that. it depends on alot of things, genentics being one of them.

its why there are some people who can do the brad pitt workout/diet from fight club and still never look like that.
