hey /fit/ I'm thinking of making a homemade pizza later, is this a bad idea? I'm worried about the level of calories it would contain, but at the same time it could be a great tasty way of eating vegetables

Don't use cheese and it will be relatively healthy.

Or make a personal (5" or so) pizza. Pizza is one of those foods that makes it very easy to overeat.

Op Here
5" pizza's ain't gonna fill me up since I'm relatively greedy and I could easily eat a whole pizza from Domino's..

Any alternative to cheese would be acceptable? Like BBQ sauce?

eat some fucking cheese.

Cheese is a good source of casein protein. Best eaten before bed, because of slow metabolization rate.

It's the white carbs that would give me pause.

That's the problem. You eat 'til you're full like the fatass you are.

... There's a problem with that?
I've been stuffing my face since as far back as I can remember, every time I'm hungry.

Sure, I'm probably twenty pounds overweight, but that's due to the fact that I don't exercise at all, and barely ever go anywhere.

Yes there is a fucking problem with that, especially with pizza. Don't be a fucking dolt.

Then lose weight or get the fuck off /fit/, fatty

Most of us here are at least "trying" not to be fatasses. Go to /ck/, you'll find more of your lardy and lovin' it kin there.

OP Here
Umm well I don't think im a fatass perse, im 13.5 stones (85kg) and I go to the gym regularly.

An average pizza will set someone back 1000 calories, from what I read on the calorific intake on the frozen pizzas in Tescos.

Im basically asking for advice if you can enjoy a pizza but not have so many calories in it.

I think its unfair to be so abusive on /fit/ 'cos all of us are striving to lose weight. I read quite alot about exercising, benefits of water and all that.

I don't believe in takingthings to the extremes like bullshit dieting, but rather being sensible with everything, exercising and also food.

Thats why I wanted to know if anyone can suggest healthy alternatives for pizzas - Eating something nice but also healthy at the same time.

I used to eat alot of junk meals (don't do snakcs) like deep fried food and chips almost everyday, but because I managed to cut out soft drinks in my diet, I still lost alot of weight. But thats largely due to jogging 5 miles 3-4 times a week.

If I was you I'd try to incorporate soem form of exercise into your lifestyle as well.

you all suck, pizza can be very healthy! make a dough with spelt flour or whole wheat flour. Do not cover the entire fucker with cheese, but dont buy some fucking low fat cheese cus thats just plain shit, and of course... chicken and vegetables.

this is a healthy pizza, but that doesnt mean you can eat it for dinner each day, once or twice a week is fine, unless your on a faggotdiet, then its no pizza for you, ever!

Thin wheat crust, low sodium pizza sauce, low-fat mozerlla, TONS of grilled chicken and veggies = win.
