hey /fit/

I think i need some help. I'm 176lbs and 5'10. i used to be a size 32 waist but now i'm a 33. I'm age 24 now and when i was 21 i weighed 160.

Am i getting fat?

I don't mind cardio but weight lifting has never appealed to me and i have a poor diet, mostly consisting of Subway sandwiches, Spaghetti for dinner and lots of soda.

I need help

You aren't getting thin. It'll get worst as you get older.

What do you want to do? Bulk up, gain muscle?

Get thinner?

Become a pr0n star?

I'm 19 and weigh as much as you did when you were 21... you look much better for that weight than I do, and even as you are now, you look better. Shiiiiit. You don't appear fat, sir.

just get thinner in my abdomen. I don't want a six pack because i'll never have the time and energy to put the work into it.

i don't want to bulk up because i've spent thousands on suits with high armholes so keeping a thin upper body is needed too. (thats why i shy away from weights)

You can't spot reduce, if you want to lose weight, you just lose weight.

As for the whole lifting dilemma, you won't gain muscle without eating a calorie surplus.

Any, at all. Kay? What weight-lifting would do is skyrocket your metabolism, which is why I do recommend it. Trust me, saying that you don't want to look all bulky from lifting weights accidentally is like me saying I want to learn how to play Guitar, but I don't want to automatically start playing like Jimi Hendrix. It takes pure dedication.

Anyway, start eating six small meals a day to maximize your metabolism. If you want to avoid a gym, start doing bodyweight exercises, here is a simple routine you can do in an hour in your house.

Do that Mon/Wed/Fri, then do some sort of Cardio on Tues/Thur/Sat. Take Sunday off.

Fat will burn off, and you'll be a sexy Nigger in no time.

Any questions?

Every meal, get some lean protein. Chicken, Tuna, Turkey, Jerky, Trim Steak (holy fuck it tastes like shit), any type of Fish, EGGS delicious eggs. And you eat that goddamn yolk, there is no correlation between dietary cholesterol and heart disease.

For your first three meals, have some complex carbs. Oatmeal, Yams.....and Oatmeal.....Wheat Bread, maybe. Don't avoid carbs, but it's bland shit.

For your last three meals, replace Carbs with Healthy fats. Flax-seed oil, is the best, but any type of oil is basically perfect. Just a spoonful of oil on a small chicken salad, or just drink the spoonful and eat some chicken with hot sauce.

For your last meal, I recommend skim milk for your protein, Casein is a slow-burning protein, and you want to keep your body fed as much as possible while sleeping. Starvation is fucking bullshit. Avoid fat-free cottage cheese unless you fucking hate yourself.

Also, if you ARE going to a gym, then I highly recommend doing a compound routine instead of the bodyweight routine, weights are always better.

If you do decide to do Weight-training, that's a great routine.

Also, for servings, close your first. Examine how large your fist is.

That's your serving size.

Most people have a slight six pack underneath their belly fat. Getting a six pack the likes of the guys in 300 takes a lot of work, but getting the slight definition just takes fat loss. It's not that hard. Bulking up takes a lot more effort and dedication.

Everyone has a "six pack" underneath their belly fat, without exception.

I mean one that will actually show given a low enough body fat percentage. It is possible to have abs so thin and undeveloped you can be emaciated and still not have a visible 6 pack.

Ah I think I see what you're saying. I've just been trying to dispel the myth that the visible abs are muscles, most newbies don't understand that they are actually tendons that sit on top of the real muscles.
