Wow, this thread is retarded but actually makes some good points. I've been a boxer for 2 years OP, so i'll do my best to help. First off, like a lot of people said, that form is key to any punch. The better the form the more damage done. The best place to learn form is not from internet pictures but going to a gym and letting a trainer teach you/evaluate you. Believe me your always going to be a little off on form if you teach yourself, best let a professional at least give you some pointers. Now all this being said if you don't have any strength behind your punch, well then your in a for a long drawn out fight where your going to have to rely on wearing your opponent down with quick combinations. Course this works very well but you asked for increased punch damage and the best way to do that is increase strength throughout your entire body. The power of a punch (when done with correct form) comes from the legs upward. So your going to have to hit the weights a little bit, but for the love of god nothing like a bodybuilder split. High weight and low repetitions is where it's at. Other keys of the trade are bodyweight exercises (one armed pull ups, bodyweight squats) and unusual training methods like sandbag shouldering and like someone else mentioned hitting an old tire with a 8-10 pound sledge hammer (you will feel unbelievable manly after doing this). Also, never ever neglect the heavy bag, use it at least twice a week. Doing all this or even some of the things i've mentioned will make your punches do some solid falcon punch damage. A good place to find exercises or general knowledge about increasing strength is Ross Enamait's Infinite Intensity book, or just go to his website rosstraining.com. They have a ton of free articles to help you out.
