I'm 33, I spend each day entirely in front of the laptop. during hischool I did a lot of sports but this was many years ago. yesterday I started jogging again. Which good, non-sucking book (websites also okay but I would prefer a book recommendation) can you recommend that helps me make a training plan, read about running and breathing technique? I don't have marathon as a goal, I just want to get fit again.

tl;dr plz recommend me a good book on running/jogging kthxbye

Tom venuto's feed the muscle burn the fat, is a good book on general fitness, weightlifting, and weight loss, but books specifically on running, are something I dont know a thing about.

I wrote a book, here's an excerpt.

"Put on shoes, and start running. Do not fall down, or accidentally be walking. As you are running, breathe. If you do not breathe, you will likely pass out and die. Remember, run and breathe."
