Okay /fit/, I'm a little be confused right now.

I have a decent workout plan set, I was gonna start on machines for a week or two then move to full body workouts. Problem is I just finished a twenty minute interval on the machine and it said I only burned 100 calories. Is something wrong with me or the machine?
