for morning lift routines:

A. Eat breakfast then lift.

B. Lift then eat breakfast.

Which is better?

I'd say eat a light breakfast an hour before so you have some extra energy in the system. When I work out in the morning usually I'll have a scoop of protein powder and some Gatorade beforehand.

If you full up and go straight to weights, you're going to puke if you're exercising correctly.
