I am working towards being able to do planche pushups.
I am doing massive amounts of close grip incline pushups, wide grip pull ups, jackknifes, and planks.
I have been practicing the frog stand for about 2 weeks now. I am getting frustrated. I can do it, but my max is about 15 seconds.
You have any tips for increasing the duration of holding the frog stand?
besides practice.

my goal is 90 seconds.

wanna learn how to squat?

you squat, you dont do leg extensions.

wanna learn how to deadlift?

you deadlift, you don't do hamstring and lower back exericses.

You need to practice the primary move most of all. if you're not doing it, don't expect to learn it. you can add all the supplementary shit if you want but you need to practice the fucking move.

Also, it's a whole bunch of ligament and tendon strength involved. Doing weights will not help you achieve this goal.

Do pseudo-planche pushups with your feet on a wall.

Dips won't help anywhere near as much as pseudo planche pushups, handstand pushups, or tuck planche isometrics

is it your upper body thats wearing out?

I started these recently, and i find if you raise your butt and legs by using your abdominals its quite a bit easier.
