Okay, so yesterday was my birthday, and even though I told my friends not to get me food or cake for my birthday, they fucking did anyway. I wasn't going to be rude, so I ate like 3 yesterday, and two today. (it's all gone so I won't be eating anymore).

Unfortunately last night, I bruised my big toe and I don't know what I did to my little toe, but it hurts like a mother and it's swollen. What can I do for cardio while my toes heal? I usually do 20 min of stairstepping and 30-40 mins of running.

this is by far one of the best forms of cardio. I used to row in college and this is the most demanding cardio workout you can put yourself through. just PLEASE make sure you have the correct technique. Ask someone who knows how to erg/row and have them show you. If you don't you can injure yourself, as well as waste a lot of time on the erg machine.

Is there anyway I can do it with free weights? There's no erg machine at my gym (I asked about it a couple months ago).
