Hey, /fit/, fat tub of lard here. Been throwing down about 30-45 minutes of cardio a day and eating properly for nearing two months now. It's nice that I need a belt to keep most of my pants up.completely random picAnyway, I got a scale that is supposed to calculate body fat percentage. It has me down at 38 percent body fat, due to me being a fatty. But I have read that these floor scales only measure the lower bad, and just use that as an estimate of the rest. Which could be inaccurate. Now, my problem is, I'm pretty sure it is being innacurate. Seeing as I currently weigh 310 pounds (better than when I started, at least), I calculated that would mean that I have 117.8 pounds of fat on me. No idea how accurate THAT would be. But given the body fat percentage charts I have seen, the absolute minimum percent to be reasonably normal is 25 percent. Which means I would have to reduce my percentage by 13. Which would be about 40 pounds of fat, this still leaving me at over 250 pounds.I am thinking that it might be underestimating here. But then, as long as its measurements are the same each time, then it should, at least, be able to tell me if I'm really losing fat instead of muscle slightly better than a normal scale.
I wish my friends shaved my leg and drew TES symbols on my leg when I was passed out.
get the old fashioned ones. nothing digital.
