Hey /fit/,

I think I'm coming down with an eating disorder. I used to be a major fatass but now have only 2% excess body fat (16% total). However, my problem is that when I eat a "bad" meal, I start to feel extremely guilty and will work it way the fuck off by doing cardio at the gym.

For example, yesterday was my weights day. However, for lunch I had like 6 slices of pizza (smaller square slices). This is a bad meal, so I did enough cardio after my weights to burn 700 calories. Today is my cardio day, but since I sitll feel bad about yesterday's meal, I stayed on for an extra 30 minutes. Just enough to see the machine roll over 1000 calories.

One of my friends tells me this a form of bulemia. What happens if I keep this up?

I still get about 2000 calories per day through healthy meals / protein shakes, in case you were wondering.

I do this too. I don't really think there's anything wrong with it, and honestly, cardio is a lot healthier than vomiting.

Your friend's right, it's exactly like bullemia. Except it's mathmatically healthy and instead of turning into a toothless twig you stay at a healthy weight. As long as this light guilt doesn't turn into life crippling remorse then you'll be fine.

I'm not sure whether to rage or lol. Anyway, this is what happens to most people when they want to get slim and actually succeed. If it persists after you have a sexy BF% (like between 6 and 9%), then you should probably talk to someone about it.

Actually, disregard everything I just said if you're a girl, because that's a healthy BF% if you are.

If you don’t repost this comment on 10 other pages I will fly into your kitchen tonight and make a mess of your pots and pans.

Cool. Yeah my goal isn't to get to 14% and stop. I set goals for myself and then decide on the next one. For instance, right now my goal is 10% body fat. When I get there, I'll buy myself a couple of nice pairs of shoes and an armani blazer or something.

My goal is 6% body fat. So I still have a long ways to go. It's just sort of been becoming distressing.
