Fellow mis/fit/s,

I have a pair of 35 pound dumb-bells at my house. What's the most intense work-out I could get out of these things? I use them for curls but to be honest they are a bit light to get any power gains off of them.

I'm all about finding some sort of low rep, high difficultly exercise I can do with these, HALP!

Dumbell flies
Anterior deltoid exercises
Join a gym
Get a barbell
Do some pull-ups/dips until failure.

Don't work the same muscle group.

the most intense workout would be throwing it in the air and catching them in a juggling motion

I'm getting a pull-up bar for my house.

Obviously gyms have all sorts of good stuff. That's besides the point. I want to be able to go to my back-yard and actually do an exercise that will push me.

I think the weights are a little too heavy for me to pull that off just yet. . . but hell, I'll give it a try.

Thanks! That looks like some interesting shit.

I'm all about quick and ugly exercise. My favorite HIIT exercise is sprints up a 60 yard soft-dirt hill that reaches inclines of 45%. After only 5 or 6 of these I'm usually so fucked up I can barely walk home.

By the way, I do "thrusters" all the time . . . because I couldn't figure out what else to do with these dumbells that might help me burn cals. I just didn't know to call them Thrusters.

Can't do legit pistols with the weights yet. I tried.

I'll tell you, I just gone done doing that Tabata method with thrusters. That shit is fucking insanely intense. By the end of it I could barely hold on to the weight and my shoulders and biceps are screaming.

Good shit!

I have to add. I went and got my lunch. This involved walking up and then down a hill. The up part wasn't much of a problem but the down part was surprisingly difficult, with how blown out my quads were.

Tabata method FTW!

Do the tabata style thrusters workout with 35 pound weights, then come post some shit. Then again, you'll probably be too worn out to type, fatty.

no seriously, you're probably fat. if you can curl 35 pound dumbells easily and you don't know any other exercises you either have VERY DISPROPORTIONATE biceps or you're fat so 35 pounds isn't a very large amount of weight to you.

if you were skinny, you wouldn't be able to curl the weights easily

if you were fit, you wouldn't have to ask 4chan for exercises.

Sir, now that you've been introduced to the tabata method, check out this site. It will put the hurt on you if you can commit yourself to it, but it's worth it.

Good luck!
