Whats up fit? Normally don't post but do lurk a bit. I've been working out after a 1 month hiatus and my squat strength has decreased by like 1/2. So far my progress has been gradually getting better.Anyway I've been getting this pain that won't go away. It feels like muscle pain (not bone) and hurts when I contract that part of the muscle. Because it is a commonly used muscle its always contracted, and I have to lean my head back all the way so that it won't hurt for a brief while. Its been 5 days and the intensity of pain hasn't gone away (its not too bad, just annoying/tiring). SOS???
You just pulled something. Keep squatting.
The smart thing to do would not to do anymore squats until your body heals otherwise you could do more damage to yourself.
Try to stretch it, not orgasm of your life stretch but enough. Also if you want to keep your leg strength up you could always try a leg press. It won't be the same as squats, but it's better than sitting on your ass not squatting.

Stop exercising. Do not stretch, rest, keep it warm. You might try to get a professional massage though.
