Ghetto Booty no more! Anonymous
Hi /fit/! Yet another fatass who has to look good for a wedding...[that and I want to lose my spare tire] 5'11" 320 lbs...and I want 50-70 of it GONE! Problem is, I'm on a very limited budget and tend to work nights. I need some help to get started on a "Weight loss for Dummies" routine. I have a flight of stairs and 2 sets of leg weights (one 10lb, one 5 lb) Can anyone offer some advice on getting started so that my will power will be enough?

If your simply looking to lose, then no more than 1700 calories (healthy shit please) a day spread over 6 meals, do cardio at least three times a week, but you can do it way more if you want to (wouldn't go more than 6 times a week). Go for at least 30 minutes and no more than an hour. Have fun.

1700 is a pretty severe drop for someone over 300lbs. At 320, your caloric needs just to walk around are probably somewhere around 5400.

So cutting that many calories is going to be hard and not really necessary right off the bat. I'd say cut down to 3000 for 2 weeks, then 2200 for 2 weeks, then get down to 1750 for however long until you hit your goal.

Have friend drop you off 250 miles away. Walk your ass back, eat at homeless shelter soup kitchens.

if you're that overweight, try removing all starch for starters. bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, gone. related products as well. start eating real, whole unprocessed foods.
