sup /fit/, i need help when it comes to meals

I'm totally fucking lost on where to begin, and it's pretty overwhelming

if I'm trying to lose weight (but only doing cardio) what would you suggest eating?

and if anyone is doing that currently, prz poast some of your meals

Meal 1: 1 cup cooked oats (non-instant kind)
2 whole eggs, 4-8 egg whites scrambled
Piece of fruit
Snack: Fruit and Protein shake
Meal: Chicken breast, Salad w/ DRESSING, Brown rice.

my goal is to get to 160lb when im 230lb at 5'9", i just want to trim all the fat and be toned as fuck, i have no desire to be super built atm, so what foods does anon reccomend to eat, covering breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks and snacks?

Just do the velocity diet if you're serious, don't waste time and energy, ignore everything you think you know about nutrition, do the vdiet, come out looking like you've been at it for a year, and enjoy the new, leaner you. follow with anabolic diet for epic results.

where did you start when it came to this then?

I've gotten everything else planned/mapped out except my food routine which I would like to plan for the next few months

all I know in a nutshell is, lean foods (chicken ,pork,fish,meat)

strictly water, which I have been doing. no fast food obv, and fruits & salads

just when it comes to picking the correct things and preparing it correctly I am lost
