what is the best way to heal muscles and get rid of soreness fast? i worked out yesterday and am very sore and just found out my team needs me for a race tomorow and i dont want to be sore

I heard that exericsing when your sore helps as it lets blood into the muscle or somthing can't remeber the source

eat some high protein foods, sit in a hot tub, stretch, etc.

sit in a pool or a hot tub for a little while. keep your bones and muscles from bearing weight. don't swim hard if you get in a pool, but stretch out.

light exercise can help, like walking just to get blood flowing to muscles.

A sports massage would be the best (but pricey) option, or you could try foam rolling

get plenty of sleep, muscles only rebuild while you are sleeping. sometimes even taking an hour nap can do wonders for soreness
