Hey /fit/. I'm a college athlete coming off an injury. I'm working on a strength training regiment.
For this reason I'm working on a list of all the major muscle groups. Starting here is the legs. Tell me if I missed anything

---------
Gastrocnemius
Soleus
Peroneus Longus (Eversion)

---------
Anterior

How do you think I made the list?

If you know all the muscles, then its no problem to find out action, origin, insertion, tendon and ligament connections, etc.

exactly, I just want someone to double check my list to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Once I got the list I want, then I'm going to set up exercises to strengthen and balance the opposing muscle groups.

Then you might want to include the hip muscles and glutes.

The first link has all the muscles you need compartmentalized. I can see by looking at the page that you missed some muscles already.
