Hey /fit/I'm in Taekwondo.I need some advice on how to build some speed and power in my kicks, and strength in my punches(I prefere to do a few strong punches since im mostly kicking),I'm lifting weights for this,...pic somewhat related.
and also, do i need muscular strength, or just muscular endurance because this sport relies on power and speed
just do some beginner strength program like starting strength or westside for skinny bastardsif you don't want to go to a higher weight class watch your diet
squatsthe speed comes with practicing with correct technique.
Take up boxing for punches.
