I had nearly the same problem. I was 5'7" and weighed around 170. I noticed my stomach was getting big, went from 30 waist to 34. I cut out cheese from my diet. And started eating more fruits and veggies.
Started a workout regimen. Chest/Tris, Back/biceps. Abdominals everyday! It works.
Now I'm around 156 and feel alot better. I think the biggest thing was cutting out cheese. You simply don't need it. Start getting your calcium from other places, OJ with Calcium, multivitamins etc.
