hi /fit/,
I'm trying to lose weight. I'm not overweight, but I'm still chubby. And with my diet, I'd probably slide into the overweight limit in a year. [I'm a girl, by the way]

So far, I've been walking everyday. I'm starting small. I walk one mile in about 15 minutes. I also do sets of sit ups, push ups, and work with weights. [not alot. two 3-pounders].

I'm eating smaller portioned meals, and I've replaced all my usual sugary drinks like soda or lemonade with water, and I drink diet green tea, also.

That's about it. I've only recently started. Do you guys think what I'm doing is ok? Do you reccomend doing something else? Or have any suggestions?

It's a good start.
However, you still need to increase your exercise periodically. Once your current workout stops being a real effort, do more, whether it be increasing your weight load or walking more.
Try a bit more cardio, since that's what burns the calories most. Weights are important too, though, so don't be afraid to go up a notch once you get used to the small ones.
I commend you for cutting out sugary drinks. That was a big problem for me initially.
