alright /fit/

Time to see how badly you guys stereotype people based on their height and weight. My height is 5'7" and i weigh 191 pounds right now. Do you think I sound like a week little fatty or a strong person who works out everyday. Just based on the 2 pieces of info i have given you.

How many pullups do you think i can do? I will post the awnser in 5 mins with some moar info about myself. Lets see how close you guys can get to the truth...

.pic unrelated i just love shannon elizabeth

It's hard to say.

I know a guy that's about 5'7 and he weights about 200 and is an absolute tank. Ripped as fuck and could probably lift a bus.

5 at most with proper form. You are overweight no matter what you think. Deal with it.

i'm sure you're a hero.

i don't think any body necessarily judges people by 2 numbers. it's when they say, "help. i'm 5' 7" and 200 lbs and i'm a load. i've never worked out. help me /fit/."

that's when people get judged.

now go do some pull ups fatty until someone cares.

Height and weight generally mean nothing. It's all about your body fat percentage.

Seen 250 pounders with 10% body fat.

Seen 120 pound girls who were probably sitting at 35% body fat.

Both of the above are uncommon, though, especially in the USA. Hence why we have stereotypes. I mean, just growing up in the US, my average peers (including myself) did not and still generally do not invest TONS of time into working out. Most of us just stayed regular by doing fun things like playing basketball as a group of friends or some kids were into skateboarding. If you told me about a person in my town who was 200 pounds, I'd just naturally assume he or she was pretty tall or just carrying extra fat, because that's what I've been exposed to my whole life. Basically, anyone who was over 170 pounds and male or over 140 pounds and female growing up in my area was just plain fat.

Stereotypes aren't always bad. Many of them are just based on an average, but some are based on racism and such. I definitely don't think all black people are criminals or only eat fried chicken. In fact, statistically, prisons are more full of white people nationwide in the US than blacks or hispanics. Yet, if you asked me what percentage of people over 200 pounds were also over 20% body fat, I'd have to make an assumption of about 70%.

This is Op Here

right now im overweight a little but workin on cutting the rest of that down. Right now ive got an FMI of 24.1 so im not just a fatty with a body fat% of about 18. Right now you can see the sides of my abs and i have very good pecs and my arms and legs are good 2

I can do 16 pullups with proper form, and about 22 if i swing my whole body around like a nood while i do them.

I look great with my shirt on, but when i take it off i still look a little overweight. >>> My goal for the end of the summer is a weight of about 170 with a body fat % of around 10 and an FMI of 25-25.5 Then id just look like a really short natural weight body builder, just when there not at 4% bodyfat.

These are my maxes on major lifts right now.

Benchpress - 270
Squat - 510
Military Press - 185 (my military press max sucks i know)
Deadlift - 435

I had a buddy who was 5'8" 240 lb or so, and he was an absolute tank. Maybe 15% bodyfat, but incredibly strong, like world's strongest man strong. I don't know if he could do that many pullups though.

You have a BMI of 29.9. Which is fucking OBESE.

You are either body builder big, or lying.

Pics or get the fuck out.

im on a Bulkind diet and body building exercise plan right now. I was thinking about entering natural weight body building competitions for a while, but then i met brad steer and realized that i badically didnt have the genetics to be a competition level body builder. Im to short thick looking, So i cant look lean enough for the competitions

your military press is fine compared to your bench (~68%)
the squat looks more suspicious because it is higher than your deadlift

Looks are deceiving.

height: 5'10''
weight: about 135 lbs

i am a fucking weakling (and it is almost an understatement)

You sound like a fucking wanker to be honest, I bet you've conveniently "rounded up" on most of those figures. Fat kids can be cool without seeking false approval from the internet, mmk?
