Hey guys, i'ts me again. I've posted before and some of y'all might remember me.

Ok so yeah. Weighed 265 at 13, have lost 135 lbs, want to be 111ish, have done a great job so far if i do say so myself.

So much to my suprise, my mom actually offered to get me a personal trainer because she's so proud of how i've done and she wants to see me do well as far as putting myself back together. Out theory is that ifi do some really good weight work i'll not only tone, but the muscle i'll build will help fix the badlookingness of places where i have excess skin.

I thought about using the training service my college's gym offers because it's discounted, but is there anything I should be looking for in a trainer or gym specifically, given what i'm trying to achieve. Also, from experience, what can I expect from a decent trainer (I dunno, i guess i'm assuming some of you have had one before).

go to 7chan /fit/ and read their sticky. there's a list of ebooks. download them and read them.
Inform yourself, that's the best thing you can do.
Then judge the trainer on your own knowledge.

I need it in extra skin problem places. The underarm wings need to be tailored, so like lots of Triceps stuff, and a shitload of ab to hide that there and My inner thighs are a problem. I don't really know what to do for that other than lose more weight but I don't wanna look like a skeleton. My Quads and Calves are already pretty rockin because i've been training myself for a while, tho i'm sure it's pussy work compared to what a real trainer will put me through...

Well, you'll have to lose the fat to get rid of the flab. But if you replace it with muscle, you won't look like a skeleton. Which is what you have planned I gather.


I never had the problem of pushing myself until i cant move. I do have the problem of eating right though. I'm a pussy in the kitchen, but manly in the gym.

I don't know how much a personal trainer costs. I lift on my own too. They'll set you up with a weight lifting routine. Do you do much lifting now? or just cardio?

for the extra skin issue, some anon a while back suggested a bath in epsom salt and red wine vinegar. No clue if this helps at all since I haven't tried it yet the worst that could happen is that you smell like grapes and salt water.

I concur. As a femanon who's also 5'5 and 52 kg (114 lbs, although that's all fat and no muscle whatsoever), you look great. Besides the upper arms, everything else is great. Most women usually have some flab on their upper arms anyways no matter how much they weigh.

Yeah yeah, like i said, aiming for 111lbs, i'm still a jogger/swimmer/long-distance walker (ie:active person) with a carefully watched calorie intake that never exceeds 1300 unless its because I got pissy and ate an entire bag of spinach more than i meant to.
I do some weights every other day, 5 or more sets of 20 leg press, Fly's, and crunches of various kinds so i don't get bored. When i'm stuck socializing with family i've always got a weight in my hand and i'm doing bicep and tricep stuff. And I get plenty of protien because i take a powder in addition to eating good protien friendly veggies.

But seriously, can anyone tell me what a trainer might do? Hasn't anyone here had any experience with a trainer? Were's the usual helpful-internet-douche that actually has information that's relevant to my interests?

Goal is to look good much more naked. Because i really like being naked. =/

Not a personal trainer but.

I can give you some help.

Sets of 20 are not going to do shit. You need to lift heavy. You won't get buff. Sets of 8-10. And you shouldn't be able to lift more.

For triceps, start bench pressing. It'll build your triceps very well. Do incline and flat. Dips also work.

I'd reccomend
3x8 Bench
3x8 Incline Bench
3x 12 dumbel flies
3x 5 Military Press

That'll get your triceps as well as other areas.

Do
3 x 8 Barbell curl
3 x 8 Bent over rows
3 x (Not sure how many you can do) chin ups
3 x 8 Up right row

And for legs

Yours look good but if you want more muscle
3 x 6 squat
3 x 6 Deadlift
3 x 12 Dumbel lunges

Also do abs a few times a week. Do weighted decline sit ups.

Cut weight down to 111 if that's you goal.You'll need more protein, and less vegetables if you want to build muscle. After you get the fat off eat around 2000 calories a day of clean food heavy in protein and start lifting. you'll build muscle and get the slim but tight body look. You CANNOT get big on 2000 calories a day, regardless of how much you work out.
