I've been taking Whey protien for the past week after every work out. My question is this, it goes 28g of the supplement to 250mL of water. And it has 23grams of protien per 28grams of supplement. At the moment I only take 28g after my workout, is that enough?

yes, but you should be eating plenty more protein throughout the day in the form of actual food.

eat your breakfast young man.

Overnight, your glycogen stores are depleted and if you don't eat breakfast, your body goes into starvation mode starts using muscle for energy.

Also, regarding shakes, they should be used for muscle recovery by drinking them ASAP after your workout. You need to eat protein throughout the day to keep your metabolism up and to make sure it's being used efficiently in building muscle

you MUST eat a real breakfast in the morning. i'm assuming you're trying to get bigger - if so, eat fruit, toast, eggs, meat if you can, MILK - at minimum. if trying to lose weight, cut out the milk and the toast.

it is the most important meal of the day. you will NEVER reach your goals without eating breakfast.

Ya i have the shake right after my workout. But if I don't have time for breakfest, I can't have a shake? or what are some good, healthy breakfest ideas? nothing that takes long to cook.

I'm trying to get big, but first, trying to lose my extra stomach fat(I dont have fat anywhere else really, play alot of sports). So I do HIIT about 3 times a week and just plain running for the other 4 days. At the same time, I'm trying to gain muslce, thats why I take the protien.

Make a bunch of hardboiled eggs during the weekend. Take a couple with you on your way to school. Bananas. Toast with peanut butter. Fried eggs are actually much faster than you realize. Ham sandwiches. All sorts of things.

Eat big to get big. Shakes are great for supplementation and getting quick, fast-digesting protein after a workout - but they are not a substitute for real food in any way shape or form.

If you want to gain muscle, you need to strength train.

Alright guys, thanks alot, cause i wasn't really sure about everything. i also have a stupid question, which I know I'm going to get flammed for. You can see only the top part of my upper abs. I go to the gym 6 times a week, and I always run/HIIT, which usually burns 150-250 calories, then do weights, how long do you think its going to take till you cna see all my abs?
