first time on /fit/.

I work long hours and am already skinny - i just want to get somewhat toned so my question is...

the perfect pushup - worth it? effective? thoughts other than "fuck you, fag, eat 8 eggs and drink protein and work out 3 hrs a day"? I've heard good things...

You can a unique muscle from the turning motion when performing the pushup.

It makes traditional pushups more entertaining.

Still, go for weightlifting if you have that option.

Good for improving push-ups and toning. Still, it's a bodyweight exercise, you won't get big with it. You need to lift if you want to get big, no way around it.

You might notice your chest getting slightly bigger, I did when I first started doing normal push-ups.
