just wanna know something. I have a bit of a gut (not obese, i'm 5'9 and weigh 168), and i just wanna know, if i just strictly eat salads for a month and run daily for about 30 minutes - an hour, will that get rid of the gut at all?

Probably. Maybe not if you soak the salads in dressing. In other words: count the calories and do it right.

If you strictly eat salads you will probably be consuming i dont know, perhaps 600 calories a day. In other words, no you will not lose that gut, at least until your body has sacrificed a shitload of muscle. Create a calorie defecit from your BMR and do cardio i.e. running, high protein, low (not 0) carbs, cut sugar, alcolol etc..

That depends on your definition of the word salad. Mine always include lots of protein. Eggs, tuna, salmon, chicken, nuts -- all good ingredients for a salad.

yeah it'd just be a basic generic Chef Salad sans dressing that I pick up from Kroger.
