Okay so I'm a very over weight girl (230lbs and like 5'2) and I'm trying weight watchers for the second now. I just started today. Does /fit/ have any exercises that I can do at home to help the loss of fat in the butt?

I know I can't spot lose but I want some exercises to help with the butt that I can do at home.

What they mean by spot reduction is that you can't lose weight from just one portion of your body. If you want to exercise, you'll be losing weight everywhere in your body, which is probably just as good.

The point is that any exercise you do will not have a direct effect on that particular part of your body. Your body doesn't just selectively choose to metabolize the fat in your ass just because you're working your ass out.

Alright. Thanks for the help... I will have to get back on my dance pad and start trying to run, I have a bad knee. But thank you all anyways!

you really shouldn’t be doing high impact exercises like running at your weight, you’ll fuck your legs/ shins.

Go cycling or walking
