Hi /fit/
I'm 21, about 6 feet tall and I weigh somewhere around 175 pounds. I'd say I'm pretty much average in every way. I don't work out but I ride bike alot and go swimming every weekend. In about 3 months I'll be having "an experience" during which there will be a minimal amount of sleep, food and water combined with heavy physical strain.
I realize that 3 months is not a whole lot of time, but I need your advice on how to increase my endurance as much as possible in 3 months without spending a metric fuckton of money so that I won't look like a little girl when the time comes :|

Also, forgot to add:
I only drink alcohol every once in a while, maybe 1-2 bottles of beer every other weekend and I smoke a pipeful of tobacco every other month.

Endurance. Stamina. Sufferance. How do I increase it?

>In about 3 months I'll be having "an experience"

You'll have no problems with endurance if you "train and eat right". Hope that's clear.

OP back. What the hell? Is all the advice you can get here is on how to enhance your abs?
Come on, stamina. Need MOAR of it. Any foods I should avoid/load up with?

He's right OP. We might bash Crossfit cultists for their faggotry, but your situation is exactly what the system was designed for.

I was adamant against crossfit for the longest time, citing the "one ass pick a saddle" saying and thinking it was for girls.

But after seeing the results my fellow bjj members were getting from it, I could no longer ignore it. So, over the summer, I tried it out for a few months and it was win.

It is true that xfit is never going to get you crazy levels of strength, but training for strength can be done in concordance with xfit.

As a GPP and metabolic conditioning combo, xfit has no equal. For athletes, it's intended to supplement/complement their existing training. So lifting for strength and lifting for metabolic conditioning/gpp can be done in the same day.
