Hey /fit/,

I want to start the 10-minute trainer program but I don't have the resistance bands that they attach to a door and are needed for some of the workouts (specifically upper body). Are there any alternatives that I could use to hold me over until I find a set? Would a light weight of some sort (dumbbells, random objects around the house) be good to help provide some resistance to a workout?

With a set of Dumbells you can pretty much train your whole body.

Resistance bands suck, I used to use one for modified pullups and it snapped one day. Get dumbells.

Sorry, 10-minute trainer is one of those DVD workout programs, and there are different workouts set to target different areas (cardio, upper/lower body, total body, etc.)

Yeah, I've heard that before and figured they might work, but I was just wondering if they would be much different. (Bands=more eresistance, dumbbells=more weight)
