building strength Anonymous
I can jog almost two miles, but I can barely do one push-up. I want to join the army around the beginning of next year, so I have about 2 months to get in better shape. What's a good, simple exercise routine (for starters) to start building upper body strength?

I can do 10 push-ups with 100lbs on my back but I can barely jog 1/2 mile.

Brace yourself for this, I'm about to blow your mind. If you want to be really good at push ups...

FUCKING DO SOME PUSHUPS. Seriously, the army PT requirements are a fucking joke.

for the military, you need to be able to do 50 pushups in a row, or something to that effect. and jogging two miles isn't shit. if that's all you can do, they'll break you the fuck down.

progress from kneeling pushups to normal pushups.
do a set once u get up.
another after u brush ur teeh.
another after u shower
another after u change
another after making your breakfast
another after eating you breakfast.
basically just keep doing em.
