/fit/, is there anything you can order in Chinese takeout that might be remotely healthy that won't destroy your diet? Normally I've gotten sauce-less chicken and broccoli with white rice on the side, but is there anything else?

Already drink nothing but water and the occassional tea at work

Relevant to my internets. I'm going to some chinese place tonight.

I was considering ordering out tonight so that's why I was asking

You don't take-out that often, so who cares? One meal won't fuck you up.

Eat it all in moderation, and be aware of the calorie content of some of the sweeter sauces, and you should be safe.

Well... is there anything HEALTHY? or is it pretty much all terrible for you?

order something with lots of vegetables and nothing breaded or too heavy with sauce. try and steer clear of noodles.

chicken with vegetables is a good example of something good.

hmm

Minimal of anything that's fried or high in sodium.

I'm glad I hate sodium/salt products, not because its bad for you, but because the taste is awful

Chinese food is healthy. Chinese take-out is made for white people and is trash.

But most sit-down real chinese places have the healthiest food you can get as long as you don't order the 'white people food'. Like General Tso's Chicken.

Shame that's all I can get around here, the bad stuff made for white people. Maybe I just need to study the menus a bit better
