Hiit
sup /fit/

I've been running 30-60 minutes about 4-6 times a week the past... while, and I want to switch to doing HIIT now.

Can /fit/ recommend to me a good idea of how to start it up? I have fairly decent endurance, I've been jogging for years, but I'm sure HIIT will kill me. Also, how many times per week. It would be in addition to moderate weight lifting (I'm stuck using a bowflex over the summer till I move back to college and use the campus gym) 4x a week.

help muh out

search HIIT in wikipedia, in the article there's another link to an article that has a table with times of everything etc

Are you speaking of: http://musclemedia.com/training/hiit_table.asp?

I'm looking at Table 2 and it's only 4 minutes? Do I rinse and repeat? I thought HIIT generally was like 15-25 minutes?

I've looked around and what I've gathered is to run/jog @ 30 sec intervals till dead. Is that the general idea?

The table is supposed to ease you into HIIT by an 8-week plan. If you can go longer than 4 minutes on your first session, just go for whatever you can and pick up on it from there.
