Dear /fit/, I'm not hungry anymore, have I fucked up my body? I've been on a diet for a couple months now (1000 or less calories a day, with no exercise.) and have lost about 20 pounds. Now I'm 160 6'1" and have been walking (just got back from a 1 hour POWER WALK) and I've also started lifting weights. I've lost no more weight these past couple weeks though. I still have a bit of a gut I want to get rid of. There is very little muscle gain, so I suppose that could be why I haven't gained weight.

However yesterday and today I haven't been hungry one bit. I lifted yesterday, walked today, and haven't been hungry since breakfast. Should I be worried already, or is it too late to decide? I just don't want to go into starvation mode or whatever it is.

P.S.
My breakfast yesterday was rather large, tortilla, eggs, sausage, bacon, cheese, and salsa.

Today I've only had a 120 calorie yogurt, and a 130 calorie oatmeal packet..

Under 1000 calories?! No exercise?! Are you kidding me!!!???

You seriously need to revamp your diet, you are only hurting your body!

Do you wanna speed up your metabolism?
Put down your fail diet and do this.
Throw away your soda and junk food if you haven't already.

Eat a healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Grab a small healthy snack in between each meal.
My metabolism sped up from eating like this.

Srsly, how so? If I'm not exercising then I'm obviously burning less calories then everyone else, if I want to lose weight (without exercising) then would 1000 be reasonable?

I still want to loose weight though. I drink water like a mother fucker, does this really work?

There is a right way and a wrong way to lose weight, and your way is definitely wrong. In order to properly and healthily lose weight, you should exercise while eating more than just 1000 calories a day. Your body need more than that to function properly, and God knows what kind of calories they are...could be crap calories for all I know.

I eat plenty of veggies and fruit. I have usually a salad a day, and then healthy everything else. (Whole grains, no fast food, no sweets)

Define "healthy"?
I lost 50 lb in the span of two months doing what the OP did, except combined with three miles of running each day. It's been 2 years, and I've kept it off pretty easily without daily exercise, and my doctor says I'm in top shape.

Where is your "healthy" now?
