Overweight faggot here (see name; shit bricks). I've recently started to work out again and limit my calorie intake. I work out at least three times a week for about an hour. I spend around 20-30 minutes doing cardio (riding bike/treadmill) and the other half lifting weights. Will I lose weight if I keep this up? should I step things up?

Also, a secondary question, when do I up the amount of weight I'm lifting?

as always, pic unrelated.

Do more cardio. Cardio burns more fat than lifting weights, lifting weights is more for building muscle (which will be difficult to do on a calorie restricted diet).

Start doing HIIT, or just increase your current workout to 1 or 2 hours.

up the weight whenever you can do the # of reps you're shooting for
