Aim for around 150-160 with a decent amount of muscle, BF for the average joe healthy should hover around 13-ish.

You can't just have a proper weight determined by height, have to consider broadness, muscularity etc.

Regardless, average for that height I would expect to be in the ranges of 145-160

You could try calculating your BMI. However, it's only variables I think is weight, height and your sex so it doesn't distinguish between fat and muscle mass, but it might give you some place to start.

Personally I think you could have almost as much as weight as you can get, as long as practically all of it is muscle. Healthy bodyfat percentage is always single digits imo.

Wow, played with G.I. Joes a little bit too much when you were a kid, did you?

Well, that went a bit over my head I'm afraid. I'm not an iron-pumping, keyed-up beefcake if that's what you mean, at least I'd hope not.

G.I. Joe dolls made since the 80's sport an inhumanly cut and muscular anatomy. In fact, if you were to extrapolate their size to that of a normal person, they would theoretically be able to bench press as much as 1500 pounds. It's been implicated along with Barbies and other pop culture icons in the current epidemic of unrealistic self-image.

The fact is, a single-digit body fat percentage may get you looking ripped as fuck, but it just isn't that healthy.

Ah right, I didn't know GI Joes had such consequences! As far as the bodyfat % goes I'm just giving my own opinion, or maybe preference, as a fitness enthusiast. Having said that OP don't get too preoccupied on the digits, when I started out I just wanted to get happier with what I seen in the bathroom mirror. It was only later on I started monitoring and calculating and shit.
