/fit/, I have realized that I have a superiority complex. I am never mean to anyone, but within my mind I have many thoughts against others. This is natural for humans, but how do I overcome this? It is unjust. I have thought of myself as a pretty good person up until now.

You don't need to conform their weak ideas of 'justice'. It's all a tool used by people like you to manipulate the masses.

You don't need to 'be a pretty good person'.
You are a person that is better than virtually everyone.

Accept it, and embrace it.

Secretly everyone knows that they are superior to everyone else.

Use your own belief of superiority to help other people be better!

That's what I've been doing for so long and I'm so negative all the time, I criticize everything, I have 4 friends total. I think this is the root of my unhappiness.

Don't tell people what they're doing wrong, just do it better than them and smirk.

Well criticism doesn't help unless it's constructive and in the appropriate setting. Don't give people advice when they don't want it. You should instead offer them help with becoming better people. Help them with simple things that you can do without hurting their ego (no one likes a hurt ego).

I don't get angry. At all. I can't cry. I'm always happy, or just in a slightly bored mood. I've made a lot of enemies by not getting mad about stuff. Lost girlfriends too.

It's like I'm missing out on what other humans can do naturally. I feel alien sometimes.

Then I go back to being happy again.

I'm in the same boat. I hate a lot of my closest friends

Only it's rare that I show anything of which I'm feeling. So usually I look completely tired or or :-|. I'm happy around my friends that I like, to the point where you can tell. But most of the time, people don't know what I'm thinking.

I can't help feeling superior than my friends. I know it's bad. I try not to do it.

It doesn't help that they are complete idiots though. Really my friends are idiots and the guy that spends time with them, which is me, is also an idiot.

One thing I do is to get drunk so I just don't give a shit about what they say.

Also my drunk rant shuts them up for the most time so I stay drunk.

I'm better than everyone in this thread.

This is extremely common. Most people with an average or slightly above average IQ experience this at some point in life. It's all a matter of realization. Once you realize you're better than everyone around you, other surrounding thoughts as to the justification of this superiority and your self image become more important to you.

As stated, there's really nothing you can do except embrace it. Once you've made this realization you can't unlearn it. You'll never be some dumb guy in the corner saying dumb shit ever again (unless you're pretending).

I have an enormous superiority complex, but am extremely smug about it, to myself. Most people would say I'm shy

Since you're on 4chan I'm going to assume you're a male between 14 and 30.

You're swimming in testosterone, you still have the immortal feeling of youth and everything's been handed to you on a plate. You're a natural asshole at this point and there's very little that can be done about it until you get a little beaten down by life.
