pull-ups are fucking tough. i'm little and can do like, two max. what other excercises can i do to build my lats?

also, any tips for working your rear deltoid more than the front?

Do some cable pulldowns. Then again, even if you can only do two at a time, your strength is probably going up anyways.

The best way to get better at pull-ups is... you guessed it:

MORE PULL-UPS.

Seriously man. If you max out at two, give it a minute, then hit the bar again and try and squeeze out another. When you absolutely cannot do another rep... give it another minute and try again. Then eat well and sleep.

After a few days you'll find you can do a few more each time, the number will grow pretty steadily until you reach 10 straight or so.

Then you need to throw some weights in a rucksack (10kg/20lbs) to start, and do the same pull-ups weighted. Your back will double in size in a few weeks.

Then go for some deadlifts, squats and overhead press.
