Okay /fit/

Football is coming faster than I have expected.
And as the results show I haven't gotten as big as I wanted to play on the line.

So, I'm gonna play in the secondary, the only thing is, I tore my Achillies tendon last season and ever since then my overall speed and acceleration has dropped quite a bit. I'm constantly strengthening my tendon, or at least trying.

So what I'm asking /fit/ what is a good exercise or workout routine to increase my overall speed for football.

Pic somewhat related.

I'm assuming you have access to football stands or bleachers of some sort.Run those, until you can barely lift your legs to the next step. If you're persistent you may see an inrease.

Or you can pull a sled with weights on it while sprinting as hard as you can.

unless you want to fuck up some other part of your body, maybe you should consider a different sport?

Think of what you might miss out in life just to be cool to a select group of idiots in highschool.

Other sports are fine, but I love football, so yeah.
Also, this sport is paying for college.

It's all worth it, this is the time of my life, I mean what am I gonna be doing for the rest of it? This is the only time I have to play football.

sure i guess. If you love it then do it.

But I suggest, with your personal longevity in mind, to find a new love.

If you are still in your teens, NOW IS NOT THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE. The next 20 years are.

Hope it all works out with the college thing
