Ok, /fit/, I've been having a problem for about half a year now. Basically I have a small little pouch of fat around my lower belly area, I'm not sure how I got it. I tryed to get rid of it by exercising and eating right, what I did was run on the treadmill for about 25 minutes everyday for 3 months, I ate vegetables/fruits/meat etc. and drank a lot of water. I didn't eat any junkfood or drink any soda. Now I still have this pouch, and it hasn't even gotten smaller by one bit. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Could anyone help out?

Keep eating clean, gain some muscle, do some HIIT to burn off the fat.

it's a genetic issue but can be overcome by hard training/exercise not just diet (although diet counts the most)

holy shit I have this problem too... I tried pretty much what op has done, and it's gotten a lil smaller but its still there... I'm only 19 though, people keep telling me it'll go away eventually if I keep at it.

At around age 21ish you'll get a little bit taller and that should help you pop it out, but all you have to do is build your body more. Make every muscle bigger, put weights on your chest as you do sit ups, crunches, and tie weights to your legs when you're doing dips. This is to make your abs BIGGER which will make that pouch seem smaller/more spread out. Also, HIIT on your non-lifting days. Tabitha runs, dawg.
