Hey /fit/. Question time.A good friend of mine has cerebral palsy and multiple sclerosis - he's strictly wheelchair-bound and has limited movement in his arms/upper body. He also has some metal fixtures in his back.Today he was telling me that he needs to put on weight, or else the metal fixtures in his back will start hurting him again. Granted, his diet mainly consists of pizza/cookies/other crap. My question is, how can my friend gain weight (without exercising, no shit) without completely ramping up his cholesterol, as I fear he might be doing?
do protein bars fall under other crap?also, good luck to your friend OP
buy him a Hungryman frozen breakfast
>>6154OP here. No, I don't think he eats protein bars. What he eats is mostly limited to the campus cafeteria is serving + the occasional sort drink. You recommend any particular brand of protein bar?
>>6201Most protein bars aren't too different. It's more important that he finds one he actually likes. Some of them are not exactly the easiest things in the world to consume. Bottled protein drinks might be easier or even some sort of protein formula that can be mixed in with milk and whatnot.
>>6201Given that's he's wheelchair bound and of limited mobility, a weightgainer shake might work better than bars.
