Cardio problem. Anonymous
Alright /fit/, I have been jogging around this field near my house everyday for about 2 weeks. When I first started running I could run around it a total of 4 times for a couple of days. Then two days later I could run around it 6, and I kept that up for about a week, but lately I have been getting really tired for some reason. Today I tried running and got extremely tired from only running around it 4 times. I run in sets of 2, then walk once, then run another 2 times around, and so on until I get tired.

My diet is pretty crappy, I have been eating alot healthier but usually ill screw up by eating something really bad like instant noodles or something. I'm 5'10 and about 200 pounds. I'm aiming for around 165-170, in other words, to get as lean as possible. Then from there I plan on toning up my body, but not building muscle mass, I'm trying to avoid any excess meat on my body as to remain as agile as possible.

My main problem is, it seems like i'm progressively getting more and more less fit, despite jogging everyday, am I doing something wrong here? What should I do in the future?

Thanks in advance.

bump, anyone?

Might be sinus problems or you might be sick. Get some nyquil at night for a few days and see if its good if that don't work. I have no idea.

Sounds like you just burnt yourself out, try running every other day.

Doing the same thing everyday will not necessarily make you better at running. Resting actually helps you improve your running. Take a break and i'm sure you'll find that it'll be all good.

Also, change things up. Instead of aiming for six laps everyday, aim for 3 laps at a faster pace. Then aim for 7 or 8 at a slower pace.
