does /b/ know any way of training latissimus without a pull-up bar? :/
Dunno. I guess you should ask /b/.
Dumbbell rows. Or a rowing "machine" if you have access to that. Some thing attached to a wire that you pull towards you horizontally.Try to keep a strict form so that you feel you're working your lats.
>>476793pull with your elbow
>>476802doing these with an olympic bar will give you great overall back mass. great exercise.BB, DB rowspendlay rowsDB pullovers (elbows slightly bent to emphasize lats over pecs)basically a lot of row variations. if you throw in cables you have even more exercises you can do. This is why I love training my back, there are SO many exercises you can do to keep from getting stagnant
>>476803gotta get a muscle there first! brb
Lat Pulldowns.
bench press, if you're doing it powerliftring style.
>>476793pulling toward your chest works the deltspulling toward your waist works the lats.
>>477919Pulling towards your waist works the delts too. Maybe not as much as pulling towards your chest though
>>477919any of those pulling motions will incorporate the rear delts, middle back, and lats. it is the degree to which they are recruited that changes depending upon motion, hand grip, etc.
>>476803yea listen to this guy.imagine your hand is a hookdont wrap ur thumb around the barand focus on pulling ur elbows in and bringing yourshoulders tgt
