Losing mass, but gaining strength. is it posible? I have no interest in bulking my muscles, I want strong ones instead of hueg ones.

increase the number of reps you do and decrease the weights that way you will increase your endurance also eat healthy and not alot of junk food so you wont gain unwanted mass, this is to build endurance which in my opinion is true strength because you can last longer than steroid addicts.

Increase the poundage and sets, decrease the reps for strength. 5 sets of 3 reps at 85-90% of your 1RM will get you strong and won't have your gaining mass.

1-4 reps increases pure strength but not muscle mass
4-9 reps increases both strength and muscle mass
9-15 reps increases strength, muscular endurance, and muscle mass
15-30 reps increases muscular endurance with little or no increase in muscle mass or strength
50-100 reps increases muscular endurance and cardio-respiratory endurance, with no increase in strength and a possible loss of muscle mass or fat

I see.

I will most likely balance out

A 1-4 rep with a 15-30 rep routine then. Thanks.
