Does running in humidity usually negatively affect your performance?

I feel like I'm running in water when I go running... because its never NOT humid. I think its fucking up my running times-- I never run on treadmills.

Yeah, I prefer running in cool weather. I like the feeling of the cold air going through my lungs.

I've lived in the South my whole life, and dry air fucks up my throat. I guess it's whatever your body has adapted to.

Definitely does. Try a treadmill. It's a better way of guaging your actual performance, since it mitigates environmental factors.
