Anyone of you own one of these (any models, not this one in specific)? If so, would you recommend it to someone who maybe needs to just lose a paunch of 10 pounds or so fairly quickly and is ready to work out 2 hours+ on a daily basis for about 4/7 days of the week?

I'm getting the Bowflex Xceed Plus Home Gym, by the way.

Save yourself some money and buy the SelectTech dumbbells and an adjustable bench.

It's easily the best purchase I've ever made.

I'm not sure how I'd go about losing the stomach from the weights, though. Can you guys expand on it? Thanks for your input.

Lifting weights will raise your metabolic rate long after you finish lifting. The higher your metabolism, the more calories you burn. The more calories you burn, the more fat you shed.

muscle= higher metabolism = more calories expended sitting around. do cardio to suppliment weight loss if you want it quickly.

For you no but its still good to burn more calories. And if you work your muscles you will burn more calories when you run/job/swim ect
