Sup /fit/. I've been working out almost every day, if not every other day. Monday-Sunday, on Mondays/Weds/Fridays 10pm-12pm and 6pm-9pm. And on Tues/Thurs/Sat/Sun I go only around 5pm-8pm.

Now been doing this since July, and I've only lost 30 pounds; now 218. What I have mainly been doing is lifting weights in different work outs. Shoulders, Chest, arms, abs, (legs sometimes)

Ever since July I haven't really been able to increase my max in weights. Still stuck at 225 pound bench, but only able to do 1-2 reps. Curls, still stuck at 45 pounds, and haven't tested my triceps max.

So I'm wondering, if I should just continue to tone my body out by burning fat off and just shaping my body, or continue to body build. I'm not an expert at all the work outs and physical fitness, just been lifting weights like the average Joe.

Any suggestions?

Oh and I also just started running before working out. 3 miles on the treadmill before lifting weights.

So any fitness people got some advice for me?

Cardio afterwards always, or on off days.

30 lb loss seems resonable being that you have probably gained some muscle weight. Keep at it, focus more on cardio and or diet if you want to lose more.

OP here,

Diet is problem for me tho. I can't eat much at all. I'll get full after a simple salad and such. Some days I don't even eat at all. I come home from work, and find nothing available to eat (healthy that is) and just forget about it and continue other work or projects I have to do. Then go to the gym and do my routine.

I only drink water also. And a lot of it.

My stomach is really strange tho, none of my doctors really have helped me at all. Whenever I get anxiety, for example, "Hurry up and get to school!" i'll have to take about a 30 minute shit. Which sucks, because this happens when ever I go out. I'll be out lets say the mall, and a friend would say we were gonna go somewhere else, far away, and I'd have to go take a shit for 30minutes while they all wait for me in the car or something.

I was told this was probably my diet, but how could the stuff I'm NOT eating be causing this.

When I do eat tho, I eat particularly steak, boneless chicken breast, or salad. Sometimes with a side of canned corn/lime-a-beans/string beans and what not.

And also, why do cardio after working out?

My only advice is to do more leg work.. aka, squat. Squatting is good for more than just your legs.

Diet, well, if you have a medical condition, then you'll have to fix that.. you won't get anywhere without eating enough.
