Dear /fit/,

I'm 16 years old, 5'8, around 98 pounds. Scrawny, I know. I'm planning on getting into sports next year (tennis and cross country) and am looking to get a good bit more muscular because I'm tired of being a weak piece of shit.

I've been lurking here for a month or two now, and have even posted a few times, but now I want to be more specific. I have the money for equipment, and since it's summer, I can follow any workout you give me, time isn't an issue. A diet plan would be appreciated too.

tl;dr
I'm a weak teenager and need some workout and diet recommendations because I'm a noob. Also, nb4 SQUATZ.

Since you're planning on doing cross country, enjoy being a skinny faggot. Seriously, if you want to be good at it, stay skinny and just improve your cardiovascular system.

Getting muscle is mainly what I'm intersted in, so I'd be happy to just drop CC.

First of all, tennis and cross CUNTry calls for weakling little shits. So you'll fit in.

Take wrestling, or stop relying on sports to get into shape. Just work out on your own if it's that important o you.

If like some information there is this book by Jack Daniel PhD. The book is entitled Daniels' Running Formula.
I have used it and have great results going form 1:45:00 10 mile to 1:15:00. It also has training schedules for cross country
