Fit: Whey, Muscle Milk, or other? Anonymous
Hey /fit/; well, I'm winding down towards the end of a 5 pound jug of ON's 100% Whey Vanilla Chai and another 5 pound jug of ON's Caesin. As i'm sure most of you do, I take a scoop of the whey before and 2 after working out, and a scoop (or two) of caesin before bed. Before I go order another 5 pound jug, should I continue with whey, or go with the other stuff (i.e. freak fix, muscle milk, etc?)

Thanks.

It depends on your intent. ON Whey is my favorite source of protein, and if you're just looking for a good protein shake then you're good with ON Whey. If you're looking to gain weight get a weight gainer (Cytogainer is really good, take it post workout only).

I don't know what's with you fit faggots and your anti-supplementation. It's natural protein, it's cheaper, fast absorbing and has great amino acid chains. Back in the day I'd take 2-3 2 scoop shakes a day. Stop being such pussies.

Op here... wtf is this about?

I'm about 160-170 (no idea tbh), and I don't want to really bulk up yet; my body is still a reservoir of fat... its going through a drought, but I'll start bulking when I see legitimate veins on my biceps.

Has anyone here actually tried muscle milk/freak fix? Whats the real difference between it and whey? I thought that the max muscle the human body can really synthesize is around 12 pounds a year + or -.

Huh? I thought that was generally a bad idea?

Presuming I haven't eaten a regular meal, I'll take a scoop with water an hour before working out and a NO/preworkout supplement immediately before; even if L-arginine doesn't do shit, I love the placebo effect
