Seated Behind Neck press. Anonymous
Today I was doing my new workout, which now consits of a Seated Behind neck press. The trainer at my local gym told me not too do it. Something about fucking my neck or shoulders up. he recomended I stop it and Use a shoulder press machine.

Should I use the machine or continue with the SBNP?

Pic unrelated.

'USE A MACHINE' CAN NEVER THE RIGHT ANSWER

BNP are awesome, and are a sign of healthy shoulders and demonstrative of proper scapula function. they actually are teh only true vertical plane movement.

if they 'hurt' or you suck @ them, its because YOU are unbalanced and weak, not the fault of the movement.

Anyone who tells you to use a machine over free weights needs to be kicked in the balls.
