DANDRUFF:
I have it. I want to get rid of it, permanently. Specialty shampoos don't seem to work. I've tried Head and Shoulders, Neutrogena T/Gel, Selsun Blue, and probably others I'm not remembering, they've had no effect. Being outdoors in the warmer months seems to make it go away, but when winter comes around and I hibernate the flakes start falling again.

head and shoulders, first get buzzcut, get something to nurish your scalp and then use like a conditioner once per week and shampoo everyday, dont wear hats and dont scratch head.

Thanks, but that's pretty much what I do now. I wish I could grow my hair past 1/4", I have to buzzcut it constantly or the flakes get worse. I use moisturizing conditioner every day and I don't wear hats. I just want to have normal hair without dandruff, dammit.

I used to be the same way. And Im a girl and have long hair. Head and shoulders made it worse. Moisturizing products didnt help. Just some minor changes is what got it to stop. I found not using any heat products helpful, use a normal shampoo. Like dove beautifully clean. I usually shampoo twice (either everyday or every other day), and then conditioner. It keeps the flakes away.
