So I just realized all those preachers curls I have been doing have primarily been workings my Brachialis and not my biceps........
>> Anonymous
so does that make your biceps look more 'lopsided'? cause i want to know about this
>> Anonymous
It's not very tight on top on top but tough underneath. I just feel like so much time was wasted.
>> Anonymous
Haha, you fags care about how your biceps look.

Girls don't.
>> Anonymous
I wouldn't fucking care. If it lets me get Dumbells into place more easily for my military press then it's all good.

Oh, so that's why you vain narcissistic homosexuals do it then. Not like you couldn't just power clean it up.

they're semi-useful for bearhugs...incase you ever need to bear hug someone to death...
>> Anonymous
>>462333
I wouldn't mind giving someone a hug... if you... know... what I.... BAWWWWWWWWWW ;_;
>> Anonymous
>>462329

why dont you just get someone to help you get it up?
>> Anonymous
>>462333
Or just give a bear a hug back.

>>462338

Oh...you were trying to turn it into a sexual innuendo...but I use bear hugs to kill people...so...you're into...necrophilia or...?

Just bounce them off of your legs like everyone else, waiting for your biceps to catch up before getting stronger overhead is stupid.

You're probably doing them seated, but why not do them standing so as to build some core strength and balance. You could clean the weight into position then.

I JUST WANT A HUG DAMNIT IS THAT SO MUCH TO ASK?
>> Anonymous
>>462304

No unfortunately I can't. I DB military press 100s so I'm trying to get back to the point where I could easily curl the weight into position before I move up in weight.

>>462361

Yeah I am doing them seated but I could definitely try them standing. I'll do it in my next workout.

never did cleans though so it'll be a new experience.

LOL . . . wrong. That's actually the first thing girls look at, provided you don't have your shirt off.

Related rage story: I started my "weightlifting" years back with shit like curls and machine presses. Then I got serious and started squatting and deadlifting. I got hella stronger and my core got tighter, but my biceps shrank a little because I wasn't isolating them. People started tell me I was "getting smaller." Once I got comfortable with my power lifts, I reinserted standing barbell curls. After two weeks I was back at my max biceps size (mostly just an ongoing pump), and of course the same people were all "Man, you're HUEG!!!"

Like it or not, arm-to-torso ratio is an important aesthetic.

yea if youre going to do curls you should at least do them standing so you work your core a bit

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

people are fucking stupid.

ohwell, curlz for th gurlz. then. Shouldn't hurt my other lifts too much because I only do weighted pullups once a week. Deadlifts and powercleans otherwise...
