Hair loss Anonymous
So today I unclogged my shower drain and found a huge clump of my hair in there. Then later I noticed that it looks like I have a small bald spot on the back of my head. Im only fucking 19, and am very depressed right now. My dad lost most of his hair in his 20's, and now it looks like its going to happen to me. Does anyone have experience with Rogaine or something that might help? Even if I could just stop most of the loss now, that would be amazing. This fucking sucks.

ps pic is from google but I almost look like the before picture.

Recessive gene is passed through mom, not dad.

Happens to everyone. Hair falls out naturally, very frequently. Probably a lot more during showers.

welcome to life. now are you going to be a faggot about it or are you going to man up and shave your head?

Give rogaine a shot, but be wary of taking the next step of getting anything surgical done, there's a lot of dodgy operators in the field, and even for professional operators, results can be less than impressive.

Face it friend, you are fucked. Rogain and surgery are merely false hope for people who don't want to spend metric fucktons of money to keep their hair. Grow a beard and start lifting weights. Then you'll look a hell of a lot more badass than someone with a full head of hair.

I call (utter) bullshit on this, where is your backing for this assertion.

Yeah but in the mirror I can definityly see a bald spot getting started on the top/back of my head. Ill probably try Rogaine and hell even surgery if it comes to it; I already have a fat face, huge nose, red lips, ill-placed moles, and close-set eyes - I don't need to look like a complete circus freak.

But is there an option for people who will spend said metric fuck ton?

Lol, ask Donald Trump.

Cut your hair really short if you don't want to shave completely. A friend started doing that and now he actually looks 20. He looked way older with a big circle of thin hair on the back

lol, enjoy paying $50+ a month for the rest of your life for a hormone treatment that we don't fully understand.

uhm, no.
>However, research has also shown that a person with a balding father also has a significantly greater chance of experiencing hair loss

the buzzed look is in, and a LOT more manageable. Get a really nice set of barber clippers and keep up on them. You'll never have to pay to get your hair cut again.

if I ever started balding I would kill myself on the spot. There is no other acceptable solution.

I am a little older than you and within the past couple months I have started losing my hair, just up above my temples but it is obvious to me. I notice hair around the sink and on my pillow. And the thinning is pretty obvious.

But there is no way in hell that I would mess with hair transplants or rogain or any of that vain prettyboy bullshit. I have used my balding as an excuse to exercise even harder. Now I have a real reason to lift hard. If I continue to wallow out of shape I'll eventually be all bald and out of shape, if I continue to lift I'll eventually be bald but it won't matter I'll be buff and I'll shave my head and get an earing and white tshirt and all the ho's will call me Mr Clean and wanna suck my cock. It will be awesome.

So whats it like to be a weak pussy who can't deal with life?

lol, I love how everyone hates the idea of balding. 85% of us are going to be bald eventually. I'm part of the 15% that has a SHIT LOAD of hair, and wont losing hair till 60+

I'm balding too, so I've done a lot of research into this. Rogaine works only on the crown of your head, but as soon as you stop using it you'll start losing your hair again. Propecia is a pill you can take that'll regrow your hair all over your head, but it costs too much money. Hair transplantation is VERY expensive, like $1 a hair follicle, and most surgeries run from 2000 to 7000 hairs being implanted. Now this will last only 6 months before you need to go back in for a 'touch-up', which means another 3000-5000 hairs being implanted. And the surgical clinics will lock you into contracts that make you buy Rogaine and Propecia from them, where they jack up the price. There is a shampoo out there that I've used, it's called Super Hair Energizer. It's like $25 just for the shampoo, but it instructs you to use just a little, so I've had the bottle I'm using now for about 8 months now. I think it works pretty good, before my hair was following out in clumps and it slowed down the loss considerably. It's been 2 years now since I started using S.H.E., but my hair is receding too bad now, so I just gave up and cut it real close.

What you need to do is go into a hair salon and ask the stylists what's the coolest hair-do they can do for you. Most likely if the receding is bad they'll tell you to shave it all off or get something like Matt Lauer has. I'll tell you what, trying to hide your balding hair is the WORST thing you can do. People notice it more, its just better to say fuck it and man up, accept your condition. You can't do anything about it, so learn to live with it. Change the things that you have control of in your life, like your health and wardrobe. Just because you might be 'ugly', doesn't mean you can't look good.

Pic related, I have a Matt Lauer hair cut, plus a better physique. Watch him on TV and see how bad his thinning is, yet he still looks good.

Im wondering how big a factor diet is. If you were to start getting in shape and drinking only water/fruit juice/fitness drinks, and cut the fast food shit completely, would that make much of a difference?
