Hey /fit/s I have a question for you guys. My trainer at the gym changed my training programme and has made quite a big change in the machine/free weights exercises. I used to do 4 sets of 12s everywhere whereas now I do 3 sets of 10s everywhere. This means that I have added at least a third more weight everywhere since it was to easy otherwise. He has also coupled this programme with interval training at the treadmill. What is the guy trying to focus on?If the thread stays live long enough I may upload a photocopy of the programme.Cheers

Bodybuilders who strive for bigger muscles and "bulk up" typically do reps in the 8-12 range. Power lifters, who don't give a shit about size, on the other hand very rarely do any reps above 3-4.
