After I do deadlifts, I feel DOMS in the crook of my arm (the place opposite the elbow), especially when I straighten my arm. Is this supposed to be there, or is the weight I'm DLing too heavy and fucking up my joints and tendons?

sounds like you're hyperextending your arms when you lift, should be bent a little i believe
don't lock your elbows and rest the effort on your joints, bro.
Pretty sure you're supposed to keep your arms straight, at risk of tearing your biceps.
