Need help, can't do a pullup, what type of training should I do to get me to be more capable of doing a pullups?

Me again. Congrats! really. If you can do that then, you only need to work on low center of gravity-type exercises to get to your goal. Also always set little goals. Start pullups --> get good at them -- do them often, etc.

You sound like you need to get real low to the floor and do repetions .... SLOWLY, it won't take long for the muscles to feel something. If this doesn't work, then tire your arms out with more wokouts before your try this and you will feel it.

You will be working your biceos and triceps if done properly. You will feel it and know.

Get a chair and stand on it so you can grab the pullup pole easily, make sure your chin is above the pole.

Slowly lower yourself to the ground.

Repeat.

People can't do pullups? Shit. And people are recommending using weights so that someone can do a pullup? Just do pushups, many different types to work all your upper muscles. You'll be pumping out muscle-ups in no time.

You are missing the blatant troll.

OP, surely you can do assisted pullups? Start cranking those out, with less and less help, until you can do a few pullups by yourself. Then do a few sets of pullups every time you workout, incresaing the number you do as you get stronger. Eventually you'll add weight. YOU'LL BE HUGE. OTHER LIFTERS WILL HALT THEIR EXERCISES TO STARE AT YOUR RIPPLING BACK, AND AS THEIR WEIGHTS COME CRASHING DOWN UPON THEIR BODIES, YOUR BODY WILL BECOME A BEACON OF HOPE TO THEM AS THEY SPEND WEEKS IN RECOVERY.
