Don't fret missing meals or eating too much/too little. Life is not always ideal, and the #1 reason people freak out is because they miss a workout or meal or eat unheathily for awhile. Fitness is a long term goal, you aren't handed a magic pill when you reach your goal that maintains them for the rest of your life. And life is life, it will not go ideally. You can go a week without eating breakfast, or not being hungry for whatever reason, and keep working out and seeing gains. You can over eat for a week and see gains.

At the same time, sometimes gains are not as noticeable as we'd like. We can reach a plateau, dip below for some reason, and you simply have to keep going. Freaking out because you stop for awhile is stupid; try different exercises using the same muscle group. You just have to keep powering through, using your head to figure it out. "Just shut up and do it. Stop looking for anything more then saying you did it."

It's only when you completely fall out of sorts that bad things happen, and that's stuff like eating like shit for a couple of weeks with zero exercise. Even that is easily recoverable from with some hard work, and not the end of the world. I am so tired of "I ATE A BURGER TODAY WILL I GET FAT", "I MISSED MY EXERCISE TODAY, WILL I LOSE ALL MY GAINS" shit. Look at soldiers. They go out in the field, and end up with huge amounts of labour, with very little food, with a complete lack of sleep. And you know what? They lose weight/muscle like a motherfucker. But they gain it back.

I am so sick and tired of people trying to make what's simple for a toddler into some complex science. Fitness is easy, easy shit. You get what you put in. Nothing more, nothing less.

Oh. And after a workout, you should be tired, but not unable to move and function, while being completely sore. For fucks sake. DOMS is a sign of idiocy and the road to injury. You're trying to destroy your body for a short period of time, not for the next week.

stop whinging

Getting fit is hard work, it takes sacrifice, determination, and perseverance. If it was so easy everyone would be in amazing shape.

Whining? You're the faggot. Getting fit is not hard work. It takes effort, but if it's the core of your life, then you're doing something very wrong.

It is easy. It's just an unpleasant inconvenience most people aren't willing to accept

no no, not whining, whinging, like what a dog does. No matter how much weight you loose and how fit you become, you'll still be that fat fuck underneath.

so, sticking STRICTLY to your workout plan every week is not completely necessary?

Whats ops weekly exercize schedule like?
4-5 times of lifting and maybe 2-3 hrs of cardio?
How much are you running a week if at all or do you just do some sprinting to maintain leg muscles?
