I knew some vegan kid last year who was 5'8" and like 105 lbs who decided to do swimming one year and gained ~15 lbs of muscle. However, being a vegan and a complete douchebag, 7lbs of that muscle atrophied away during track season because all he did when we had to weightlift was whine about how we shouldn't have to do it.
