Hey guys, need a couple suggestions

Well, my stats are 21 years old, 5' 9", 265, sporadic eating habits (that's changing on it's own already) and I'm about to start hitting the Gym (this Friday, in fact) with a lot of motivation and I'm really looking forward to losing some weight

THE PROBLEM is that I use to be 350. Then I dropped down to 250 over a period of 3 and a half years. Now, I'm starting to gain weight again, and I want to kill this shit. In fact, I want to grind it into DUST. The problem? I don't know how to go about this again.

I have a cosplay coming up. Yeah, I know this isn't /cgl/, but that's the reason it's really becoming an issue again. And so I've decided to tone as MUCH AS POSSIBLE and lose the tire in time for Fanime. So the motivation is there, I'm getting ready and... fuck.

I have NO IDEA how to go about this. I'm terrible at distance running, but I know I have to do it. Can I get some advice on the workout and diet I should be taking? I'm willing to eat whatever is needed, and I'm going to be going to a 24 Hour fitness, so suggestions?

Yeah, I sorta did XD

I lost the weight and I know the drill. I'm not only looking to lose, I'm trying to tone and actually get to a point where I can start showing off the body. But I've never tried to actually TONE to impress before.

Oh, despite the bottle, I don't drink unless it's an occassion. No shit, that was apple cider I got at MikomiCon

Well I don't know diet wise, but exercise wise, you should run on the treadmill a shitload. I run at higher speeds for about 25 min. But obviously you need to start low and build your way up. Also I guess diet wise I would suggest not eating a lot of sugar, i.e. desserts and sweets, bread, and junk food. Come on, supposedly you've lost 100lbs b4, you can lose another 100!

Try swimming. Swimming will definitely help you tone, but you have to run a bunch to get rid of that guy, man.

Well be sure to also give your body time to rest. Rest is just as important as exercise.

Well, cardio and swimming have already been put on the table but a good bit of weight lifting wouldn't hurt. Pull-ups, Squats, and Combo exercises like "The dumb-bell press, curl and squat" are some good one I suggest.

As for diet be sure to drink plenty of water and eat regularly, I like the Abs diet plan where you eat 3 healthy well-portioned (I mean "well-portioned" because I follow the nutrition label and make sure I'm getting exactly one serving) and three healthy snacks to get your metabolism going through the day. try

Holy shit. Thanks, Golden Joe! I'll be sure to take a look at this site ASAP. However, I hate to admit, I can't do a pullup. It's sad, really. But hell, I live, right? And I'm working on that. Right now I'm focusing less on Strength and more on size, and maybe speed. I'm leaving the strength training to my Choi Li Fut instructors.
