Alright, I need help - I am completely in the dark about fitness. I'm 5'4" and about 205lbs (due to the unfortunate fact that in the last year, I had surgery and stopped eating raw foods) and wanted to know what are some good exercises, ASIDE from doing shitloads of fucking cardio that will help me lose weight and keep it off?

Also, what's the deal with interval training? Is it something I should do?

Thanks :)

Shitloads of cardio. And the lifting of the heavy things.

HIIT? Yes. But you probably sprint like a down-syndrome penguin, you fat fuck, so wait until you can handle it.

18.350. 6'5.

I'm huge. I have had an epitame that all of ym fitness problems are my fault, and mine alone. No one is going to lose this weight for me, so I have come to you /fit/f or advice.

My biggest problem, is that I have never eaten right in my life. Parents would always come homef rom work tired and just get fats food and rarely cook at home more than 2times a week. I a mjust learning how to cook and I don't really know what foods ot get at the store. I know every meal should have a complex carb/protien/fiber(?) but I don't know what heatlhy foods are good and how to preapre them. (Just learning how to cook)

I have bene reading Burn The Fat, Feed the Muscle, and wondering wha tother books you guys recommend (Can't afford Strength Training ,si the new ver much bteter than the old?)

I have never been in a gym, outside of school, before and I have no earthly clue how to lift weights. I just moved to a new town so i don't have any friends to show me the ropes. Should I ask for advice att he gym or wut?

What ways do you guys track oyur progress? Are there any specific computer programs?

Thanks guys!
