Diet affects acne, right?

I'm a little skinny poor college dude who eats a lot of ramen and pizza and microwave calzones and shit like that. I'm not overweight, but my forehead and back just look like utter hell.

What SHOULD I be eating to help?

Glass.

Stop eating junk food, you KNOW its not good for you. Switch to lean meats, vegetables and some carbs, dont overdo it on them.

Avoid fatty, oily, greasy shit.

Start using facial cleansers to clean out your pores and use facial scrubs to lift dead cells off your face. If acne is still a problem, use one of the popular spot/acne creams, dont know what they are called but its Clearasil in UK - contains hydrogen peroxide, probably one of the main ingredients for it to work.

Diet has nothing to do with acne. It's a myth, believe me.

FYI, you're supposed to eat pizza through your mouth, not rub it all over your face and back and absorb the nutrients via osmosis.

diet has nothing to do with acne.

except dairy, i have definitely noticed a DIRECT correlation with myself. may be due to the concentration of hormones in the milk or something.

high amount of fish oil, fibre, greens, sweat alot and shower right after.

hit the sauna

use the regimen on acne.org

even if it may not affect acne, eat healthy stuff like fruit and vegs

Diet does not affect acne, unless you rub the food you eat around your face. Wash your face normally but otherwise sometimes its just genetic if you have it or not, and then the only thing to do is drugs, I recommend accutane, it's pretty much impossible for it not to work. Go ask your dermatologist if you dont believe me that your diet IN NO WAY contributes to your acne. And no not even dairy.

Diet DOES affect acne inadvertently since different foods triggers different chemical reactions in your body, which in turn may be seen on the condition of your skin.

Whatever the case you'd be better off eating healthier even if it doesn't affect your acne.

Food isn't all that important (unless, like we've been saying, you make it interactive with your face). Mostly it's just genetic - my dad had it bad, and my uncle had it so bad that they wouldn't let him into the Navy (being afraid it would lead to major infection).

The best thing you can do is wash your face with plain soap (not that antibacterial shit) regularly, to keep the oil from building up, but not to the point that your face dries out (which can make your acne worse).

The other day there was a thread about acne on here, I had it really bad but ate a healthy diet and exercised regularly and all that shit. Turned out that washing my face w. warm water and soap twice a day was my problem. Now I splash cold water on my face instead of washing and goddamnit, my acne cleared up in a few days. fuck yeh.

DO NOT USE SOAP on your face! Use a cleanser specially formulated for it. Soap will just dry you out and leave you worse off than before.

Also, never touch your face, don't use high pressure water when washing it, etc. There are no miracle cures, but if you do everything right, you ought to see some results.

1- You cant avoid the acne, is a vital part of being young
2- "special diet food" cant avoid it, but some like peanut butter can be worse so eat healthy like no grease or lot of sugar, avoid lot of sauce too eat basic like fruits no grease meats and carbs like rice or potatoes at grill, basic food american

3- Try to take some sun in the beach that helps a lot

4- clean your face like 3 times a day with special soap for acne and usea special cream too

5- Finally amerikan, my english sucks thats forsure and this tips will not help you to avoid acne but at least you wouldnt look worse
