hey fit how much more does muscle weigh than fat?
ive been working out, but not too excessively or anything and i cant tell if ive just put weight on or muscle

You should see the difference not at first, but you will know if it's fat or muscle. If you can't and it's that noticeable, and if you don't have a strict work out plan I'm going to say fat.

It's basically like this. One lb of fat takes twice the space one lb of muscle does.

In other words muscle is more dense than fat. So if ur mostly muscle you will look much smaller than someone who is the same weight as you, but carries more fat than muscle. Idk the exact numbers... google it.
