/fit/, is it true that sushi is truly good for you in terms of dieting and such?

If so, what kinds are best if anyone knows?

Seriously guys, does anyone know? There is a sushi restaurant place near here and I can afford it. I know fish is good for you, but I dunno about sushi.

sushi is lean meat, if i'm not mistaken, and is an excellent source of protein.

pregnant women should stay away from it due to the possibly mercury content, but most everyone else can benefit from it.

it's quite enjoyable, start out with things like tuna and salmon, they have good texture and flavor. experiment from there.

the japanese basically live of sushi.

Sushi is fucking good for you.
Don't get any fried rolls, though. Gets stuff with lots of things like tuna and salmon and what not.

Be careful what you get.

A lot of the rice rolls are loaded with mayo, which means its loaded with fat.

Straight sushi is OK, but stay away from stuff like Spicy Crab/Tuna, and similar rolls
