I've been eating small portions and healthily for a few weeks now. 5 meals a day, and 45 minutes of walking to get rid of the fat.

My problem today is I have no healthy alternative. House is out of food, mom's going out to eat. She's leaving money for chinese food, and that's my only option.

What do I do /fit/? I know missing meals is terrible for me, so what's worse? Also, what's the best thing I can order, while not ruining my diet/exercise plan?

They should have a steamed vegetable dish. Order that with rice, eat it.

If ordering chinese:
No rice or brown rice
Steamed Chicken + Vegetables
Light Garlic sauce on the side

Actually really healthy. A lot of chinese places also have "Low Carb Options" which will basically be what I just said. Look for that on the menu.

White rice isn't unhealthy despite what many people say. The garlic sauce is fatty/oily and probably more unhealthy than the rice, tell them to go light on the sauce.

Sadly, 45 minutes of walking won't really help you lose that much weight any way. Either up the tempo or walk for a couple hours a day.

And just order veggies and rice, or a non-fried meat. Problem, solved.

truth, i worked landscaping all summer and i was string trimming. i was walking 8-10 hours every day and didn't lose ANY fucking weight. i would estimate i walked at least 15-20 miles most days.. all i got for it was foot pain that lasted 2 months after i stopped working.
