Help mis/fit/s,

I've been recently doing a lot of ab exercises and cardio, however I've been noticing something strange. Instead of seeing a good result in my abs, they actually look worse. Before I had pretty good abs, but now they are barely noticeable at all, even when I flex. Am I doing something wrong?

what's your diet like?

Basically I have cereal and a protein shake for breakfast, usually some pasta or meat with a bottle of water for lunch and a health bar, and a large plate of vegetables/meat/rice for dinner, with healthy snacks in between. I pretty mindful when it comes to my diet, I don't drink any soda or eat fast food, and if I'm hungry I usually just grab some fruit or something.

Might just be me, but I'm a 20 year old male and that sounds like a shit load of calories.

Nah not really, I've calculated it to just at my recommended calorie intake.

One last bump before I let this thread die.

lol if it looks worst then your cal intake is more than you are burning and you are putting on some bf

Ah I see, I guess I'll reduce my calorie intake then. Thanks.

i mean, when u say it looks worst, u mean you are putting on fat right? As in you can grab more fat around your stomach than before?

which kind of cereal for breakfast?

seems your best meal is after the whole day has passed by. i hear eating the zone diet is best, for every meal, huge or small. proportioned ratio of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. very roughly, one third each. check it out. that breakfast sounds horrible.

you need the most energy at the beginning of the day, you should eat a meal fit for a king when you wake. that's the time you've been the longest without food, and need it the most. but i suppose it depends on your usual schedule

I hate that I don't wake up hungry, I just don't get it and can't imagine eating a large meal

i only got halfway there myself. I'll only devour huge ass meals on days I really know I need the energy. Took a little practice, didn't work off bat. Was used to shit breakfasts equivalent to eating cardboard and milk. Now I'm OK half the time.

If you can get 1-2 cups water down first, the hunger came naturally to me. Not the first day, but after a few days.
