Is your face the last place you lose weight from?

I've lost 30 pounds, need to lose 25 more, and I have noticed a difference in how I look, apart from my face.

Thoughts?

yes, face and palms are the last

wat?

nobody loses their fat in exactly the same order, but usually the first place you gain in is the last place you lose from unfortunately

if your face still seems too fat after hitting your goal weight, don't be afraid to get lipo or something

WTF? If you still look fat after hitting your goal weight...lower the damned goal.

It all happens over time, some places in your body will lose more fat than the other, but surely if you keep at it you'll see it will start shaping up.

er, if you're happy with the amount of fat in your body but not your face, losing more weight (if it's still mostly coming from your body) isn't going to do you any good.

i lost fat in the face first

I have never seen a person with a fat face who would be worse off if they lost more weight.

This is why I hate analogies and people who think they prove points. What this guy is saying about fat people is that they would be better off to just lose weight even if it doesn't affect their heads. How is your analogy relevant? Logic, you dong

That's not what I'm saying(But it is true). What I am saying is that you have a fat face because you have too much body fat. It would be nice if you could spot reduce, but you can't.

If you still have a fat face but you are "Happy with your weight" then it means one of two things. Either your face is the only thing that still has fat on it (By some miracle), in which case all the fat you lose after this point will have to come off of your face.

Or 2, you are satisfied with being fat. In which case gtfo my /fit/

we're talking about people who used to be fat, until they got down to a normal/low weight BUT STILL HAD EXTRA FAT IN THEIR FACE. we're not talking about people who are still fat.

the other guy implied that nobody who was normal/thin could still have a fat face because he had never seen a person like that.

It didn't sound like an claim of existence as much as it did a claim of prudence in doing something, for example, "I've never seen someone who was unhealthy who would be worse off with better diet". But I suppose it was a claim of existence, so whatever

No. You are talking about people with "Normal weight" who still have a fat face.

I am telling you they are still fat.

when people have a fat face, it's not always about having a huge amount of fat. it's about the placement of the fat. if you have a recessed chin for example, there's a good chance that there will be more fat and extra skin below your jaw on your neck, no matter how low your bf% is. you could waste away to nearly nothing and still have a disproportionately fat face. it's not just about being in denial about how fat you are.

OP here, what I am saying is, I see plenty of before and after pics of people who have lost loads of weight, and their faces look really different.

But i'm half way through my weight loss, and I dont notice any huge difference in my face, so what Im saying is, do you just have to become really fit before your face becomes sculpted like a proper weight person?

wherever you want to lose fat from will be the last place you lose fat from

its a rule of nature

Well the first thing to keep in mind is that most official Weightloss photos are fake. They say before and after, but no explicit claims about what the picture is "after"

Often it is after plastic surgery, liposuction, a personal makeup artist, and then some photoshop for good measure.

But losing weight will definitely eventually tone up your face. If it hasn't yet just keep going until it does. Exactly when you lose your face fat is genetic and there's no real way for us to tell you exactly when it will happen. But fight the power.

I've lost 40lbs and am 5-10 away from abs, my grandfather(ex-plastic surgeon) said when I hit my goal and still have a double chin I should get surgery, even then he said it should of come off by now as I did lose face and chin fat but still plenty left
