I plan to make a healthier choice in my personal diet...currently I weight around 300 lb's and my height is 5"4. Also I'm a college student living alone in a dorm.

I plan to substitute Caffeine pills and Water (koolaid at meals with reduced amounts of natural sugar) for coke.

Sandwiches with whole wheat bread and ramen soup for Microwavable Tacos and Pizza's.

Bannannas and Apples for doritos and cheezits.

I will also try to limit my fast food intake to once a week.

My goal is to lose 20 lbs in 2 months.

i think it is unlikely you will lose 20lbs in two months with just these diet changes, but its an improvement. i'd suggest sticking with only water and something like 1% milk with meals

ou could lose 20lbs
but not with that diet

i made the fat guy thread

bananas are just starches
so are apples
ramen is terrible for you
caffeine pills are unhealthy for you
you shouldn't be eating any kind of raw sugar during the day

I lost 20 pounds in 2 months by drinking sugar cane based coke instead of HFCS coke.....

i lost 60lbs in 3 months by eating proper, healthy foods and exercising. so, blow me.

also you can't eat any fast food

just think if you eat a burger with 50 grams of fat
depending on how much you want to lose the weight 50grams should equal your fat intake for the ENTIRE week

cut out fast food completely, it is full of trans fat which is basically poison and will make you stay fat more than anything else.

also, ramen soup is very fattening and unhealthy

you should start by trying to eat as much fruits and vegetables as possible. do not drink anything but water (or occasionally milk). eat lean meat that you cook yourself (no bacon or sausage). get full on these foods so you can't even look at crap w/o wanting to get sick.

go for a walk, at least 1/2 hour, every day. and do 10 body weight squats and 10 pushups and 10 situps the best you can.

you are obese and will get diabetes and kill yourself if you don't do something about it now. no 'reduced amounts of natural sugar' bullshit... no ramen soup.... NO FAST FOOD FATTY

and your goal?

throw away the scale.

your goal should be to get strong and healthy and happy. your body will change accordingly.

I'm not trying to get perfect, i'm trying to get better. Thats pretty much all I can afford to do right now. Now I could try to do what you say, but during the transition time it would probably effect my grades, which effects my livelihood because I am in college. Are you willing to do my papers for me when I'm having caffeine withdrawals and pass out?

I don't want overexcessive crazy all or nothing diets. I want moderation damn it. Anything in excess is bad, even proper food.

Oh and also, I am not drinking Milk. I was allergic to it as a baby and still have problems processing it pure. Also I hate the stuff. Not to mention Milk really isn't that good for you beyond the baby stage anyways.

wtf? koolaid? Are u a nig? drink water dude.
>> Anonymous
No I'm not a nigger but I do think I need a bit of sugar in my diet everyday....everything in moderation says I.

Baby steps are very important in the path to become healthier. I am have never been able to just switch my diet overnight. I've tried, and I've tried hard, but truly it takes at least a month to completely turn your diet over.

You can change a lot in the course of a week, but you will cave in every week in eating something you know you shouldn't. Aka: Yes, you can change your diet, but you really just have to change your habits... and habits are very hard to break.

I once lost 30lbs in a week by living on ramen and big k cola. I also spent all day in a very hot room exercising, reading, and sleeping

>koolaid at meals with reduced amounts of natural sugar
huhwha? No. Just drink water, or mildly flavored seltzer water. I'm hooked on the stuff.

exercise ?
>> Anonymous
Although exercise is good for the body... I dont really think it benefits weight loss all too well (aka: more is done through choosing a healthy diet)

There's signs all throughout my gym at school saying crazy things like "30 minutes of swing dancing burns up 80 calories!" (or some other really damn small number)

".everything in moderation says I."
How do u weigh almost 300lbs if ur doing everything in moderation???

Anyway... Drink water, u dont need sugar. Healthy food isnt that expensive. Ramen?? seriously? nothing but empty calories. Oatmeal is an easy breakfast with fruit, cheap cheap cheap. Eggs are cheap, egg whites! Bags of frozen veggies, easy. Theres tons of food thats cheap and easy.

OP is an idiot. With a BMI of 51.5, for fucks sake.

YOU DONT NEED ADDED SUGAR IN YOUR DIET.

Also.. Caffeine pills and water? Ever heard of diet coke?
