Out of curiosity, is anyone familiar with the concept of someone getting sick when entering a car from the odor within? It's been happening to me since as long as I can remember. At the same time, I also get the same symptoms when I enter certain buildings. I naturally suspect I'm having a strong reaction to something present in the air. Any idea what it might be?

Happens to me all the time, especially if its a warm car. I've never thrown up from it, but I have come close a few times.

Happened to me when I was young. Staying after school near the bathrooms when they cleaned them made me feel like I was going to pass out from the chemicals. I learned to stay away from them.
Also, air out and clean your car and don't use all those god damned air sprays and shit. Just clean and leave the doors open for a few hours.

some people are just more physically sensitive to certain smells or magnetic fields than others... some are *very* sensitive. It is proven and understood medical science.

Fairly rare, but definitely not in your head.
