The obvious problem is protein. It's easy enough to get your greens and your Omega 3s. I assume you wont be taking fish oil, flax oil is OK alone but not ideal. If you aren't vegan you can get Omega-3 eggs (and peanut butter but it is made with flax so there's no point).

Animal proteins are complete proteins. You cannot find complete vegetable proteins and so you must mix and match to get all your amino acids. However, if you aren't vegan you can drink milk/ whey protein and eat eggs which will help out a lot.

The key is to vary your protein sources and DO YOUR RESEARCH.

OP here. Thanks for the reply.

I have Quorn products available at a nearby store with mycoprotein - will this fulfill the protein requirement?

Vegetarian here, I'm pretty fit and very healthy (cardiovascular etc.)
My approach is plenty of fruit and veg (might seem obvious, but some try to subsist on a diet of chips & beans), aswell of moderate amounts milk, cheese, beans, nuts, etc. Just keep your diet balanced, I'd recommend some vitamin/mineral supplements also (I take iron).
Besides some very minor issues, for the most part vegetarian diet is healthier
