So, A few days ago I was diagnosed with appendicitis, and a couple of days ago I had an appendectomy. The issue here is I can not lift anything over 10 pounds for 6 weeks, so I suppose I can say goodbye to the months of work I've put in at the gym here.

My question is: Is there anything I can to prevent the lose of my lean muscle in these 6 weeks? What would yall do in my situation to not just loose pounds and pounds?

I'm an ectomorph, so cradio isn't really my thing.

Do your normal routine with 10lbs. The worst thing you could do is nothing.

muscle memory will save you don't worry. Just give it a rest, eat right. Try to recover quickly, 6 weeks isn't long.

isn't it that you can't lift anything off the ground over 10 pounds? as in, don't give yourself a 10 pound load to stabilize with your core so that you don't do any damage with the pressure? so you can do machine work and stuff on a bench, yeah?
