How can I stay inspired for my homeworks outs /fit/ ?

I don't know what i've been trying to do, just get in better shape really.

I use 2 dumbbells, 8 kg each. thats roughly 18 lbs. I usually go to my room, i don't know the name of all the techniques, i do 20 bicep curls i think they're called, 20 of the ones where you stand with your arms staight and push your arms backwards, sometimes i lay on my bed and attempt to benchpress using them but i dont know if this works, doesnt feel like it does. Sometimes i do starjumps, 200 or so.

anyway, after i do like 20 of each thing i get tired and give up, it nevers feels like i've done anything, most likely because i haven't. How do I stay motivated to keep going?

I think I would be more inspired if I knew what I was doing. Basicly I just want bigger arms and to be bigger, I'm average at the moment. What can I do with 2 18 lb dumbells?

Pic related, me atm.

they sell 18lb dumbbells? any who, your 18lb are the problem.... u'd be better off just using your body weight than those things. either get a gym membership, or train using your body weight, im assuming you weigh more than your 18lb dumbbells correct? Try dips, incline/ decline push-ups. handstand push ups. have anthing to do pull-ups on? do em.

You need heavier weights. If you can do 20 of something, the weight isn't enough. You should be maxing out at 5-12 reps.

As for motivation - after you've fixed your equipment problem, you should keep track of the details of your exercise and try to improve. Weight and reps per set.
