Hey /fit/, I have a question for you.

How am I supposed to wake up in the morning feeling reasonably good, rather than groggy and disgusting?

I currently go to bed on weeknights at ~11pm, and the aim is to get up at ~7:30am so I can be at school on time. That's enough sleep, right?
I set my alarm for 7:30, but I usually end up sleeping through it. My mum comes in to wake me (yes, I'm underage) and I feel like shit as soon as I open my eyes 'til at least half an hour after I've woken up.

if you have to ask, you're not getting enough sleep. why the alarm clock then?

i feel the exact same way when i get up. having a nice, hard workout during the day helps me sleep better at night. as far as feeling better in the morning...idk. when i take my multivitamin like i should, i have more energy making it easier to get up.

8 and a half hours is plenty, is it not?
