Dear /fit/,

I've been stuck with a pretty annoying problem lately, I have chronic bad breath.

I've been brushing my teeth & tongue twice a day since i was young, but i still seem to constantly have bad breath. I have to chew gum constantly to mask it, I've been wondering if anyone has any advice or can give me some insight as to the cause.

The only thing i can think of that could be it is that i have a really really long tongue. Which makes it almost impossible to brush the back of my tongue

Could that be it?

I eat 5 small meals a day, so I'm pretty certain that is not the problem...

Primary i eat tofu, sushi, and vegetables.

I don't drink anything other than milk, water, and tea. So i doubt it has much to do with my diet.

The smell is caused by bacteria. Rinse with a 2% solution of hydrogen peroxide.

Fucking Asian's and their raw food. You know there's this thing called electricity now, it lets you cook food. Or you could always use good ol' propane. But no, you fucked up slanted eyed bastards.

Protip: you may have mild acid reflux. If so, this will cause bad breath.

Check for tonsil stones. They're whitish and come up around the back of your mouth. They smell awful and can cause bad breath.

if you're eating trash food, your will have trash breath

best bet is to try and improve your diet to include less sat/trans fats and more fruits/veg/mono fats

Drink more water... like constantly. Some people's problems are directly attributed to milk... try stopping that for awhile, and if it does nothing, then start drinking it again. Also, you don't mention your flossing, mouthwash, or dental check up habits. Cavities?
