I changed my diet from random shit to mostly unprocessed fruits, vegetables, some meat, and started taking multivitamins. Noticed my menstrual cramps were only very occasional and very weak as opposed to noticeably painful on the first day. Since eating healthier, I've also begun to notice Midol actually working somewhat (usually I'd take it and it would do nothing at all). TL;DR - good eating habits?
I hear exercise and crunches are good for warding off cramps too.
