Hey /fit/

I'm about 5' 8" and I weigh around 160lbs. I have a bit of a gut and I'd like to get rid of it. I don't have the money for a gym right now, so I'd like to know what kinds of at home exercises I could do to get into shape.

Also, I'm not the healthiest eater in the world. I never drink soda or eat sweets, though.

Run or do cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. This will make you "crash" or "bonk", depending on your muscle mass. This is a good thing, even though it hurts. This means that you have run out of glycogen in your blood and your body has switched over to burning fat. Fat burns slower than glycogen, so your muscles will get sore and you will get tired. FIGHT THROUGH THIS for at least 15 minutes. This will help you lose the fat. Then have a carb-heavy breakfast. Aim for about 400 calories, with 300 from carbs and the other 100 from protein. Then wait an hour to an hour and a half to do a second workout. Lift weights and do abs 3 days a week, do another intense cardio 3 days a week, and rest one day a week. Only do the morning cardio 3-4 times a week, too. Count your calories. You're 5'8" so aim for right around 2400 calories a day with 50% carbs, 30% protein, 20% fat. Do this for 8 weeks.
