Anybody have experience with regularly using apple cider vinegar? I've heard from a variety of sources that it might help treat diabetes and obesity, and I know a guy that supposedly uses it to treat body odor. What the hell is the deal? I tend to lean toward the side that views these kinds of folksy "cure-all" remedies as bullshit, and a lot of sources similarly indicate that it is so, but I'm seeking all kinds of opinions, so spill it, /fit/.

What's the deal on vinegar?

You and your sources would be correct. Another homeopathic tale of garbage that, at best, serves as a placebo effect.

I am pretty sure this has nothing to do with homeopathy.

several studies that have confirmed the effects of vinegar on glycemic index.

Does he rub it on the body parts that are fat and odorous, or just drink it?

He just drinks it.

He rubs it on the odorous body parts and then drinks the mixture.

I drink it cause its supposed to be alkaline forming. Don't know if it really is or not, and it doesn't really matter cause its inexpensive.
