I'm ~250lbs., 6' 3", and looking to lose some weight.

Right now I'm doing 40 minutes on the treadmill in the afternoon and 40 minutes on the treadmill in the evening.

I eat an omelet for breakfast, three small natural soft tacos (not Taco Bell, tomatoes, lettuce, good chicken, no cheese) for lunch, and random things like fish and chicken for dinner. I only drink Vitamin Water (lolfag) and water. No soda, coffee, etc. I'd estimate my daily calorie intake at about 1700-1800.

Is this a good recipe for weight loss, y/n? If not, what should I change?

Ramp up the intensity gradually on the treadmill and consider alternate weeks of intervals to change things up...Add some weight training to build up muscle mass and increase your resting metabolic rate.

Doesn't look like you are getting enough veg...consider the g.i. diet for a sensible take on this...and allow yourself one cheat day per week so you don't go insane (and so you can sustain this for the long run.

jeez. 3.9? Whenever I run and I need to rest to catch my breath, I walk at that pace.

Also, are you eating 1700-1800 calories or do you mean that's the total calorie intake after subtracting the calories burned from exercising? If you mean you're only eating 17-1800 calories, then you need to eat way more. You're starving yourself, even if it doesn't feel like it.

Op. Get rid of all excess sugar and flour. Eat sprouted bread with no flour. Eat mainly VEGETABLES and LEAN MEAT. Drink non sweetened (NOT SWEET, NO SUGAR SUBSTITUTES) tea, water and non-fat milk. eat fruit.


Be as active as possible.

Dude that's too fast. You're gonna pull a muscle. But seriously, that's like.. a normal paced walk not I think I'd get hungry and go eat before I got tired from doing that. Try going at 45 to build up cardiovascular endurance, then slowly move it up .5 speed every week.

Loose the eggs and tacos, also, the Vit-Water.

Drink more water, eat leaner meat. (Substitute chicken with turkey)

Also, you're going a bit too slow on the treadmill, really, you might as well just walk 1-3 miles everyday. (Which would actually be more beneficial.)

Judging by height and weight, your total-calorie intake (Minus BMR) seems fine.

The person eating healthy on a deficit will lose more fat than someone eating badly.

Vary up your foods mang. Eat some almonds or some blueberries or something.
