hey americans- how do you like your "health" care system?
do you enjoy having to pay outrageous premiums? do you like not being able to go to the doctor because it will cost you too much?

In America, health care is only for the rich and healthy.

no wonder your life expectancies are much lower than the rest of the civilized western world.

vote for mccain so that your "health" care system stays the way it is-- nonexistant-- and the rest of the world won't have to deal with your stupid shit as you all die off. Long live capitalism, AMIRTIE

actually, government intrusion (as opposed to capitalism) is part of why it's not great.
but most of us can afford it just fine. and those who don't have it generally instead bought a flat screen tv.

tl;dr fuck off troll

in canada, people have to wait for months just to get an mri

i had to wait 6mts for an acl surgery, which takes about 2 hours of carpentry with a saw and a drill and a knife

i would rather pay for it then wait that long and put on seventy pounds from nonwalking

Keep it that way. The idea of free Universal health care will not work in America.

You're not the only one anon. I'm forced to wait for three weeks for therapy sessions and another month to approve my subscriptions for medication.

most states in the country do have a health care system to help you if you can't afford it.

Everyone has equal access to medical care. The system is run poorly and it always will be, but I much prefer it to having some people not receive treatment because of their economic conditions. It's not as if private health care is without its problems either, there are tens of thousands of horror stories about insurance companies fucking people over.

In a well organized society medical treatment should not be for sale.

I wouldn't mind the healthcare system here in the US all that much if prescriptions weren't so fucking expensive. It isn't right when old people have to choose between food and their meds because even with their SS checks they can't afford both.

ehhh, I'm sure this comment will come back to bite me in the as, but once your old enough to require many many different medications just to stay alive, I think you had better be able to afford it... Then again, I guess America doesn't support euthanasia so it's a bit unfair for me to say that.
