Militaryfags or civilianfags, any of you try the Armstrong pull up method? I'm wanting to go to Marine OCS next summer and I'm currently at 21 pull ups but my goal is to hit 40 by next summer. Not to show off or anything but that is just my personal goal.

It seems I have hit a wall as I've been stuck on 21 since September no matter how hard I work.

OP here, here's a link to the pullup program for those who don't know what I'm talking about.

I joined the military. They sent me off to Iraq where I killed a sandnigger and ate his heart and brain. Now I can bench over 300 pounds and have an IQ of 150

I never actually tried this, but some of the others in my unit did. The ones who actually stuck to the program improved quite a bit, but they sucked at pull ups to begin with. I don't know how much improvement you would see if you can already do 20, but I don't see how it could hurt anything.

Give it a shot, and good luck with OCS.

Impressive, OP.

What's your run time and # of crunches?

I'm also considering the Marine Officer route but I'm only a freshman in college. That and my run time is fucking pathetic. My pull ups and crunches are fairly good but I really need to work on my run.

Running is brutal on us big guys. :(
