probably the best thing you could do would be to do pushups. i know its kinda lame sounding, but when you do a lot of pushups, your muscles will both increase and refine, and when dealing with fat on the surface of muscles, having a larger muscle surface both decreases the "fatty look" and encourages fat loss. increasing muscular endurance also increases the amount of glucose stored in your cells, and your bodies best source, apart from carbohydrates, for glucose is fat, so keep doing pushups, even if its only 10 a day, progress will be made. If your still quite large and cant do pushups, or do many of them, lie on your back with a heavy book, raise your arms straight in the air, and slowly lower your arms down to the ground above your head and go back up, slowly. this is a great way to increase strength.
