Yes. It teaches you muscle-exercises and the step game is fun. Also, if you're too self-conscious to go jogging irl, you can do it on the spot and it records it etc.

At the very least it keeps a record of your weight and creates a chart so you're motivated to keep going.

Everyone knows it doesn't. But it will actually affect your health, in the sense that any exercise will benefit you.

Also, the charting function helps people stick to their goals (as shown by that Nike thing, which has motivated alot of people)

I think this game is a great supplementary tool and worth the money if you've already got a Wii. It helps a lot with balance and teaching me new yoga poses and giving me more options for cardio than dragging my ass outside every day.

But it's not like you'll get ripped, and you need to do other strength training, and you need to have good eating habits also.
