Dear /fit/,

I have no problem with exercising enough and general good eating habits, but I have one problem that I cannot seem to overcome. I have a craving for sweets, I've managed to cut out sodas completely, but I still want to eat something sweet every few hours.

Can /fit/ recommend anything to help me, or do I just need to work on my willpower?

Who cares if you eat something sweet? Cut your portion size in half and it won't matter.

If your craving something sweet have a little. If you do not give into your cravings every once and a while your much more likely to have a binge.

You might also be craving sugar because your diet isn't giving you enough energy.

Get an ant infestation in your house, so every time you want to eat something sweet and delicious, you have to ask yourself: is it worth grabbing a handful of this and cramming it in my mouth knowing it is full of ants.

worked for me.

eat them, but work out twice as hard

You'll have to go cold turkey. Just forget about the sweets, or keep your mind on other things. Remember, it's alright to binge on a cheat day.

At least you admit it. There's this other fag on /fit/ that keeps arguing for and justifying drinking 1 can of soda a day, as if he's lying to himself.

You can try chewing sugarless gum, or taking your favorite sweet and just using it as a reward system...
Or if you are having a really hard time with cutting it out i've heard supplementing with chromium can help
