For the same number of calories, clams have more protein, less cholesterol, and no fat at all. Canned clams usually don't cost any more than solid white albacore tuna anyways. Fresh-water fish, especially bottom-feeders like catfish, carp, and tilapia, typically do not have any detectable mercury, and walleye, pike, and bass have much less than salmon and tuna.
I've been eating my stores of tuna and salmon but I don't think that I'll buy any more after I'm finished with them. I go through it fast enough that frozen fish would still be good, and catfish is fucking cheap as hell.
