Cheat days. Most of us have them right? Well, post about your cheat days.

My cheat day is Sunday. I don't work out, and I eat what I feel like eating without going too far. Today I had a frozen Tony's Pizza, and a Blue Agave Full Throttle energy drink, and a sample ice cream thing from Wal Mart. Shit tasted good. But now my stomach is cramping up from the pizza.... which was 1200 fucking calories. Probably not gonna do a full pizza again.

Sundays are my cheat days too, and my "day off". I dont work out at all on sundays, not even cardio. I just relax. My diet is the same as the rest of the week, but I'm more open come dinner time.

I dont cheat the entire day, but if I want to eat something i've been craving I'll allow myself to around dinner/dessert time. I do not go overboard though.

I also have a special cheat day once a month. I dont eat candy/ice cream/sweets and so on for a complete month, and then for the first day o fthe following month I allow myself to have some candy or sweets. I thas worked out very well. It keeps my weak will power in check.

You guys shouldn't have cheat days, read the article on t-nation, if you can go 21 days cold turkey, adventually you wont want it anymore, its been 6 weeks I haven't had any bad drinks, and 3 weeks just water.

Cheat days sound retarded. I have cheat meals, maybe 3 max a week, while only allowing one to be unhealthy (anything I don't make myself = cheat meal basically).

Today I went to a diner and had part of an omelette with avocado and salsa and sour cream and cheese and shit, some bacon, half of a biscuit, and a bluecorn pancake with honey pecan butter. Shit fucking rocked.

Well, for breakfast I had oatmeal and eggs, and for my final meal of the night I plan on having some veggies, so its more like a meal than a day. I guess I'm just used to calling it a day.

People are different, and everyone burns calories at different rates. Me? I work out hard everyday, I run for miles (2 hours), do HIIT (hour), and weight train. Yet if I eat in any way less than perfect I put on fat.

My limit is around 1900 calories, and after that the fat starts to pack on. Not muscle, just fat. It's incredibly frustrating. if I touch anything unhealthy my body freaks. So I cant eat that slice of pie, even though I want to. I cant have that cookie, even if it's just 1.

You cannot just eat whatever the fuck you want and work out harder to make up for it. It takes a combo of diet and exercise. Only those with good metabolisms can pull off stuffing their faces with shit.

never had a cheat day myself but I ate a whole bag of tostitos tortilla chips at like 2 am the other night

and had some buffalo wings a few weeks ago, last bad drink I had was snapple a month or so ago

I don't need to eat cheat meals. I've learned to make incredibly delicious foods, and I've discovered healthy substitutes for most of my favourite foods.

For example, I make chocolate chip cookies, but they're mostly oatmeal with just a little bit of whole wheat flour, no sugar added, egg whites instead of eggs, and 3-4 semi-sweet chocolate chips per cookie.

I recommend any endomorphs with slow metabolisms who don't want to settle for anything less than their best do the same and avoid cheat meals. Reinvent them as functional foods.

Take days off. Overtraining is bad for you.

You do not do HIIT for an hour. I don't care who you are, you cannot do HIIT at the appropriate intensity for an hour straight.


And it sounds like your metabolism is fucked, you might want to try slowly increasing your calorie intake.

Let's say you're running at 5mph (a pretty slow pace) for two hours. That's 10 miles, which is about 1000 calories burned. Subtract that from your 1900 a day total and you only have 900 leftover. Only 4'nothing'' 80lb schoolgirls have a BMR around 900. Like I said before, your metabolism is fucked; you should try eating more, it's really the beset way to repair a damaged metabolism.

I know what you mean. I can't even eat store-bought or restaurant-made sweets anymore. If I want something like pie or cookies, I have to make them myself, without sucrose. Eating a pie you made sweetened entirely with fruit is far more satisfying than sitting around with a $4 grocery store pie playing MMOs feeling sorry for yourself.

My cheat day was yesterday as well. For breakfast I had a giant hamburger with cheese and bacon, together with frenchfries and chicken.. WITH DIP! :D
I then went to work, stopped by a girls house while I had a pause from work and had homemade pasta with a tomato sauce.. I usually don't eat that many carbs..
For a late night snack I had some onion rings, but only 4 or something.
And today it's back to my 1900 cal chicken/tuna protein diet.. sigh I love cheat days

Instead of doing that, why not learn to make delicious food? I mean honestly... the people who cheat are the usually ones who eat plain chicken breasts with a shotglass of flax oil to wash it down. You just go crazy on cheat days because you've been stomaching down horrible tasting food.

Learn to cook, like I did. You won't need to cheat because everything you make will be delicious. I was a horrible cook in the beginning, and everything was terrible. But I got better, and because I worked hard to learn how to cook, I don't need or want cheat meals anymore.

I don't have cheat days, but when I did atkins I did.

My diet now is fufilling enough that I don't need a "cheat day". If I want to splurge on a juicy bratwurst or an egg and cheddar sandwich, I'll splurge.

Cheat days are retarded, because it gives people an excuse to eat a shitload on that day and gain the two pounds they worked for a week to lose.
