Honestly? Until we get a good FAQ here, just go to 7chan, go to their /fit/, and check out the FAQ there. Read it, and get an actual exercise plan going, not just some "PULLUPS FOR XBOX HUEG SIZE" plan.

If you're too lazy, doing those Pullups will help, but 80 of them is bordering less on strength gains and more on endurance gains, and you wont be working your whole body. I'm sure you want some leg strength for rubgy as well.

Try something a bit more varied. You say you do 80 every day...how many can you actually do at a time, before temporary muscle fatigue?

Regardless, look into doing some of these too:

Squats/Leg press
Deadlifts
Bench press/pec fly
Lat pulldowns

And, in a 2 month period, no, you probably wont gain a huge amount of strength doing just 80 pullups a day.

Oh, I should go on to say, the reason I suggested a medicine ball is that its what most professional athletes use to build strength. The reason being is that you tend to get more natural motions when using medicine balls and build strength that is more useful in the sport of your choice.

I know basketball players and football players practice with them. Think of shooting hoops with a medicine ball, then when you go back to a normal basketball, you've built the strength you need to shoot that basketball farther and better.

Medicine balls. THey are a great way to do total body workouts. Get a good size one and do normal exercises with it. Buy some ankle weights and do pullups (80 is silly. try getting 20 with a certain weight without a break-perfect form!). Basically, workout hard enough that all your muscles hurt the next day. Make sure to modify your diet to have more protein or supplement to repair them.

I totally agree on the weight stuff, but if you're a lazy asshole like myself, you can just get a backpack and fill it up w/ weighted items and do pull ups/chin ups from there.
