Nose problem Anonymous
First time poster here. I've had this problem for years already and all doctors and specialists say different things.

Basically what happens is tham my nose gets these white little things coming out of the pores and they get as hard as follicles. the problem is it builds up like a scale and when i clean what looks like dead skin, all the skin under it gets inflamed. this also hapens incide my nose except it is more moist. God it sounds awfull but i'm not grossed out by it anymore. I just don't want to have to tolerate the same cleaning ritual every day and it also itches a lot.

A doctor said it was dermatitis, eczma and at one point that i have too much sebum. But the effects are far more different than i read the above diseases symptoms.

Another time they told me i'm alergic to dairy.

I'm sorry if anyone is grossed out but I need help.

Thanks

Oh it ain't that easy. I already told you i repeat the ritual every day and when i do it flares up really bad. i used all kinds of soaps and tried different stuff but i'm thinking it might be my metabolism.

I think I have a similar problem.

I have pretty large pores... made much worse by the overproduction of sebum or whatever. I have a shiny nose no matter what I do.

The pores get full of dead skin, and it looks pig disgusting... so I have to scrub those fuckers out everyday.

I'm thinking about rinsing with cold water to see if it closes the pores up a little... because they're fucking huge.

Yurp, sucks ass.

All I do is use some St.Ives scrub on it in the shower, to get all the nasty little bits of crap out. After that I'm going to start rinsing in ice cold water to hopefully shut them up.

It pisses me off. It gets to the point where I can actually use tweezers to pull solid strands of crap out of my pores.

I'm hoping it is just an adolescence thing and that my hormones will give in within a few years.

Do you also have dandruff?

Anyway, I guess have a similar problem in the skin on my nose and around it. Whenever I remove the "dead skin" white layer, the skin below is all red and inflamed. I believe this is caused by a fungus, similar to the one that causes dandruff. It "feeds" on your skin's sebum and produces some shit that is bad for your skin. Anyway, I only got better when my doctor gave me a cream to reduce the oil/sebum on my skin. But from time to time the white scale just comes back.

no i don't have dandruff but i heard about the fungus. i think the fungus on the head needs to feed on the dead skin to and if thats mesed up you get dandruff.

1. lukewarm water + exfoliating scrub
2. hot water (opens pores) + some sort of 'sensitive' facial wash
3. cold water (closes pores)

do that in that order?
