Hey /fit/
I'm really skinny. 5'4" and 97lbs. (Inb4anorexia. I eat enough.) I'm extremely out-of-shape, though. I can't bend down to touch my toes. I can only make it to my knees. Yeah, it's really bad. I really want to be more flexible and maybe a little stronger. The only exercise I do right now is a bit of running.

So, how should I go about this whole thing? Should I just stretch a lot? How long/often each day? I'm clueless.

WTF, I'm 5.4 at 133 and i don't seem that built.(martial artist) you are fucking anorexic.

As a muay thai fighter, i'd first of recommend you to put some weight on but starving to death then if you wanna get stronger lift heavy and strech.

Strech after lifting, strech on rest days, whenever you find some time strech. Start slowly, don't push yourself too much too fast and you'll a difference.

But for god sake's if you wanna get stronger start eating.

Here's what I usually eat in a day:
Breakfast: Two chocolate waffles, a bowel of cereal, a banana, and a glass of strawberry milk.
Lunch: Sandwich or burger. Yogurt. Some strawberries or blueberries. Soda or smoothie.
Snack tiem: Cookies!
Dinner: Some kind of meat with some kind of pasta or rice. Juice or soda.
Dessert: Ice cream!

I can't eat anymore than that at once. I've been trying to spread out my eating more through the day by eating more fruit and stuff for snacks. But yeah, as you can see, I'm not anorexic. I just don't have a huuuge appetite and I guess the rest is genes. I don't starve myself. If I feel hungry, I go eat some junk food like a normal college student.

Anyway, I will that. I don't have a gym membership, but I have some old weights and stuff I can use. They're not really heavy, though.

I know a 5'2'' girl that weighs 96lbs, she's quite fit.

The lack of flexibility at only 5'4'' is pretty bad though. Yes, you need to stretch. A lot.

yeah, I don't want to be a huge bodybuilder chick or anything. Just strong enough to carry a heavy box upstairs or something without hurting myself (has happened before).

Eat a caloric surpluss and start lifting weights. You will not become xbox hueg and you will not become a bodybuilder woman unless you want to and focus on it. If you focus on lifting weights and eating right you will gain muscle and be stronger and that's it. You won't accidentally wake up and go "oops I'm disgustingly buff lol"
