/fit/ I'm a noob to the scene, but I've been going to the gym every day the last five months. I just got a new tattoo on my chest, 4 days old, and was wondering if I should still be avoiding the gym?

The tattoo artist said for atleast a week, but now I'm really itching to get back.

You aren't itching to get back, you're just itching. It's an allergic reaction to that thing on your chest.

A poor choice of wording :(

hei
how do you go to a gym every day ?
you should be resting 42 hours
or are you just in some yoga/spinning classes lawl.
if you're working out, and going back the next day, you're doing it wrong.

Do EXACTLY as your artist says. I'm assuming you did a lot of research, looked at tons of artists, and picked a reputable artist with an amazing portfolio. If you did that, follow his instructions exactly, he knows what's best for his tattoos.

If you just walked in and got a tattoo, it's probably shitty, so do whatever you want because you deserve a bad tattoo.
