hi /fit/
i need something to snack on and all i have in my pantry are saltine crackers. y/n?

I fucking love crackers. I got a huge can of soda crackers a while ago, and ate a shit load every day. Wasn't until a while ago when I discovered each cracker was 20 calories... They were big, but still. Oh well. Anyway, go for it if you want.

y, but don't make it a habit.

Drink plenty of water or herbal tea with them. one reason people overeat salty foods is that they get thirsty, and subconsciously try to quench their thirst with saliva from... guess what... eating more salty food.

Not OP, can I indulge in some tostitos/salsa every once in a while? I'm 150 lbs and five foot nine trying to build muscle.

But holy shit i need a snack.

Substitute those with reduced fat Wheat Thins or Triscuits. Then, dip those in Hummus. It's fucking delicious and healthy, and god knows those qualities don't go together often.

i agree with the hummus which is delarshus, but wheat thins and triscuits are fatty and salty and have bad ingredients. get some whole grain crakers or even whole grain bread and toast it.

don't forget, even when you snack, ou should be eating primarily protein. have half a can of tuna before you even start in on your carbs and fats.

True, just saying that it's a better alternative to saltines.

Now, pita bread is the fucking bomb with Hummus.
