Help to gain weight! Anonymous
Hey /fit/
my gf is less than 100 lbs. doc said at her height and age, she should be more than 100lbs. She used to have iron deficiency anemia and doc told her to take iron supplements and Vit B. The anemia is gone but she is going back to doc again because she is underweight.

Doc told her to eat alot, and do exercises that gain muscle (ie weights), no exercises that burn fat (ie running). I try to get her to exercise but she usually doesn't want too. I try to make her eat more but shes usually to full for a second serving. I dont even make fun of her chubby stomach anymore, i just want her to be healthy.

What can I do to make her gain weight? What foods to eat? Foods that are high in calories but low in mass, so shes doesnt fill up her stomach quickly?

Dump the bitch. This will in turn send her into a downward spiral of depression, and she will eat. A lot.

I heard peanuts had HDL (good fats) in them. So prob peanuts right.

I'm not so sure about protein shakes. I'm kind of wary of those manufactured health supplement stuff. From what I heard ppl that stopped drinking them just lost the weight they gained.
Not to mention the diarreha.

first of all
if she doesn't want to gain weight, you won't be able to make her
but lets say she changes her mind, and decides that she wants to get bigger

a) heavy weight training - none of that pink dumbbells shit
squats, deadlifts, overhead presses, rows, ...
starting strength would be a good program for her to follow
(no, she wont get too muscular, trust me on this one)

b) cardio
in my opinion she should still do some
short duration, high intensity

c) food
lots of protein, good fat, unprocessed carbs
the diet is the same as if she would be trying to lose weight (except that cheat meals in addition to her normal meals aren't much of a problem), she should just eat more
a lot more

if she does all those things, she will gain weight without becoming a fat bitch in the process
