Hey /fit/bodies, I need a review of my health!

Every other day i do 3 sets of each:
1.5 miles in about 11 minutes followed by
bicep curl, 60lbs, 7 reps.
tricep curl, 50lbs, 7 reps.
squats, 70lbs, 10 reps.
bicycle crunches, 14 reps.

I eat decent, noodles, fish, pork, lotsa fruit and vegetables. Nothing deep-fried. I'm 6' 155lbs, and not seeing too big of an improvement. I've been doing this workout for about 2 months (increased weights about 20 lbs each), what am I doing wrong? I think i need more protein, but don't know what to eat for it, please help!

that routine sounds a bit taxing. well to me being as im out of shape and all. the fact that you do that puts me to shame. but any way more power to you. it sounds pretty good

forget curls, do compounds.
Try stronglifts 5x5.

the only real exercise you're doing is squatz. do the cardio on your off days.

if your goal is strength, /fit/anon recommends stronglifts 5x5. it's set up around compound, full-body movements, which is what a serious strength training routine should revolve around. curls are silly

Exchange pork with lean steak.
Use whey shakes after workout.
More protein sources: Buttermilk, soy milk, curd, cottage cheese.

Thanks for the advice, I'm looking up stronglift 5x5 now.

2 months ago it sounded like a horrible idea to me too, but now it's not too bad...it's a start, which is the most important part.

bicep curl, 60lbs, 7 reps.
tricep curl, 50lbs, 7 reps.

????????????????????

you're only working out your hands.

i'd suggest doing pullups and bench press ....

If you are going to do stronglift 5x5 , ask advice to a real life friend, or coach if you are not familiar with deadlifts and barbell row, otherwise chances are you are going to hurt your lower back
