This is all I've eaten today, I'm really bad about not eating in the morning, some days (like today) I'll wake up at like 8 and skip breakfast and lunch and not eat tell around 5 or 6. I usually eat better than Fast food stuff but I need to go shopping and my roommates left our kitchen a mess.

Basically, what are some good things to eat and when? I'm really not a good cook and I don't usually see the point in siting around for an hour cooking something just for myself. Are those healthy microwave dinners really healthy?

One of the key factors is you must eat 3 meals a day. Not one. And they all have to be healthy.

Try a bowl of wheat cereal with non-fat milk in the morning, a salad with real greens (not iceberg) for lunch with a low-fat dressing for lunch and then you can get your protein at night with some cod or halibut which are particularly high in protein for a fish.

If you must resort to microwave dinners, Healthy Choice does make some decent microwavable meals. They aren't too tasty, though.

What are you trying to do, lose weight? If you truly want to lose weight, you will sacrifice the taste and convenience of food in order to make the choices that will lose you the fastest amount of fat and maintain the most amount of muscle.

You know what to do. Get familiar with very basic amounts of biochemistry and proper nutrition. You may lose weight eating a shitty fast food burger a day but you'll regret it later.

If you're only having 1 meal a day, your body will get used to it and slow your metabolism to hell. Eat at least 3 meals a day, 6 small ones is best so that you have your body constantly digesting food which will make your metabolism run faster.

Actually, fools don't realize you can cook healthy food that is still delicious. So basically, they fail with that junkfood/fastfood thing there.

Also, you should plan your cheat day so that it is the same day every week. And the cheat day only works if and only if no other shit food is eaten the other six days.
