the last few days i've been near-constantly anxious, with everything that comes with it (jittering, fast heart beat, palpitations, frequent toilet visits, can't sleep easily etc.) The problem is, I can't identify anything making me this way - aside from maybe the anxiety itself, though thinking about it just exacerbates it, and isn't the cause. There's no trigger, thus, I don't know how I can avoid it. As I say it's only been the last 4 or so days, so it's very confusing to suddenly be this way.

Any idea what the problem could be? Perhaps some strange bug I've picked up? Or possibly something more sinister... I'm gonna go to the doctor tomorrow probably, see about finding some answers or at least some medication so that i can function properly again, but I thought I'd get an opinion here too. I hope this is just a short-term thing...

Could be any number of things, most likely caffeine and/or stress. Or drugs. Try eliminating any of the above and see if your anxiety fades.

the only caffeine i drink is tea, no coffee. stress.. like i say, nothing really on my mind at the moment that could make me stressed, aside from being like this. and, no drugs either. heh

i guess i should also mention i tend to be worse in the evening. i'm not as bad after sleeping. seems to get worse as the day goes on.

Its ghost sickness, didn't you watch the newest episode of Supernatural. You have to salt and burn the remains of the ghost that has attached itself to you, good luck finding who it is.

did that. while fapping i felt absolutely awful, afterwards i felt calmer for about 10 minutes. i'm trying to avoid jerking it because it's so uncomfortable. i have to breathe really heavily just to avoid heart palpitations.

You're suffering from anxiety, I got it from dropping too much acid at university. There doesn't need to be a trigger even a small bit of anxiety is enough to send you into a bit of spiral where you worry so much about the way you're feeling that it makes you feel worse

You just have to realize that there's nothing wrong with you and refuse to let it get out of control. It will go in time but by all means talk to the doctor about it you will feel much better.

"Dr. David Carbonell describes panic attacks and Panic Disorder as a "trick". First, it tricks the sufferer into believing what they are experiencing is dangerous, for example having a heart attack, fainting, insanity, and/or "doing something crazy", when a panic attack presents no danger. Second, it tricks those afflicted into doing anything they believe will help them, which can make the panic attacks worse. These activities would include avoidance behaviors, trying to control panic attacks (for example, by taking deep breaths), fighting panic attacks, superstitions and rituals to avoid panic attacks and excessive self-protection. (Carbonell 2004)"

do a bit of research into anxiety and panic attacks, it's realy really common, it's because of it that people develop irrational fears of things like buttons and going outside or obsessive compulsive disorders. Those people are losers though

Hope you get better soon bro I know how shit it is
