drink tea, coffee is for homosexuals. men drink tea and it's good for you

I drink tea, but coffee's fine. Lumberjacks and construction workers drink coffee, so I'm not sure how that's less manly than tea.

If you keep it black (or at least... blackish) And dont add sugar, then Sure! Very few calories, and lots of caffeine for fatloss and intense workouts.

Stay the fuck away from starbucks, though.

There's no coffee other than black coffee.

I remember once my mom put cream in my coffee when I went back home to visit. I thanked her, then added some salt to cancel it out since pouring it out would have been a waste.

Adding salt to coffee is also a bad idea.

That was stupid. A little cream isn't bad. Now, if she would have added a fuckton of sugar, I'd understand your disgust.

I don't drink it. They make it way strong here at work. And once the serious buzz drops, I'm too tired.

I drink 4-5 cups of BLACK coffee each day at around 350mg of caffeine.

Following by 200mg of caffeine in my preworkout drink.

Followed by ~150mg of caffeine from tea at night if I'm studying.

TOTAL: ~700mg of caffeine.

Followed by sleep.

I love coffee, but the way it makes you piss is brutal. Especially if you drink it in the evening, and when you finally sleep, you keep having to get up.

Coffee NEEDS a little sugar. Otherwise its dumb.

I once started this topic, and it got no replies

Personally, I love coffee. I'll list the pros and cons for it, though.

Pros: Slightly more "energetic". You'll become more efficient for a few hours

Latest studies proved that it was healthy for the heart and helps greatly to prevent prostate cancer.

Cons: It's a drug, creating dependency.

After years of use, you'll need much more to achieve the same level prior. Which also means that if you forgo a cup of coffee one day, you'll be much less efficient than the times before you even had coffee, considering all other variables are constant.
In my opinion, it's very healthy, but only in a limited amount. A small/medium cup each morning is probably all you need to maintain benefits. If you want to stick to the healthy side of it, try having one black each morning, to avoid the fats and sugars in the cream and sweeteners. Then brush teeth furiously to get rid of a disgusting smell on your breath.

Also, cheap coffee = better. Starbucks is up its own ass with marketing ideas, making everything higher price to make it more appealing to upper class people. They do however use non-U.S. coffee beens only, and always choose the finest beans.

How can you possibly drink coffee without adding a little bit of sugar? Sweetener perhaps?

OP concurs.

I love coffee and drink it every day, usually with a lot of steamed milk. I actually love the "thick" texture. Coffee when I want a hearty, thick hot drink; tea when I want something more delicate.

It won't hurt you unless you drink unholy amounts, but this is true of everything.

You drink it black.

Actually, studies show that you do NOT become more efficient because of caffeine. You may work faster but the quality of work is not as good.

Also, you must brew coffee right. 4-5 minutes for a cup of coffee, grind your own beans, and you'll have an excellent cup of coffee. If you have to add sugar or milk you don't have a good cup of coffee. High quality beans are a must, and it's worth it.

Blacker then a moonless night, hotter and more bitter than hell itself. That is coffee.
