I wanna start running, but I'm a bit confused as to what type of shoe I could get. I took the "wet sole on paper" arch test, and I looked lucky enough to be a "normal" arch. I'd just need to find a wide-fitting shoe, most likely.

However, I have a bit of a problem.

I've always been pidgeon-toed, ever since I was a little kid. Would this make a change on what shoe I should buy? Any advice? Thanks.

I've got some cheap Asics, they're rather nice.

Get any shoe and just run, I know a guy in the Navy who is a marathon runner who is flat footed. Don't read into shit so much and just do it.

DO NOT buy the cyclones, or any starbury shoe. They are cheap, but still not worth the money. They are very poorly constructed.

I run 1-2 miles daily, and the cyclones lasted me about a month before I literally could not wear them.

Oh yeah, best pair of runners I've had (light and durable) were new balance.

I have a pair of Saucony that the guy at Dick's told me were awesome. They aren't too bad.
