OK, I am really worried about my health. Recently I came down with athlete's foot. OK, I got some powder and started keeping my feet clean and dry. Done with that, then yesterday, I notice my tongue is all yellow-furry-ish, I thought "OK, must be from food colouring" so I started brushing my tongue but MY TONGUE IS PERMANENTLY YELLOW. And then tonight, in the bathroom, I noticed a dark red patch on my penis, under the foreskin, and tiny red dots appearing around the tip of my penis. Is this all fungal and related to the Athlete's foot? Is it absolutely necessary I go to the doctor?

I'm 14 and also to embarassed to bring the penis thing up with my parents, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

You do not want a fungal infection to get serious on your genitals, ever. Tell your parents that you need to see the doctor; tell him about the problem; he'll give you antifungal ointment for it.

As far as your tongue goes; that's completely harmless. It's actually caused by by enlargement of the papillae on the surface of the tongue, and the yellow tinge is a result of porphyrins produced by common bacteria that live in your mouth. The enlarged papillae can be caused by anything from mild dehydration to breathing through your mouth too often. Again, it's completely harmless.

Sure, but if the rash doesn't start to get better in a couple of days, absolutely see the doctor.
