No, 25% of energy used goes to mechanical work, running, and the rest 75% is heat, in winter your body doesnt need to sweat and so on so less energy used on transferring body heat away. That would en theory make you able to run longer on the same energy, or at least not be as sweaty and so on. F
Furthermore its not winter all over the world atm. only on the northern hemisphere.
