What is /fit/s opinion on different bodytypes. It seems tons of people here from the posts are ignorant and think every person has the exact same genetic potential.
>> Anonymous
I think people put too much emphasis on their body types. Fat people go "BLAFRGH GENETICS ITS TUFF 2 LOSE WEIGHT" and skinny people go "BLAFRGH GENETICS ITS TUFF 2 GAIN WEIGHT". While it's true genetics can make things harder, everybody uses it as a fucking excuse instead of just putting more effort in. Yes it makes it more difficult to reach your goals but does it make it impossible? Fuck no you lazy shits. Unless you have some sort of genetic disorder you have absolutely no excuse to put blame on your "genetics". There are guys out there who are losing hundreds of pounds through hard work and they never blame anybody but themselves for their shitty lifestyle.

We have always been told there are the 3 standard body types:
· Ectomorphs - aka - skinny
· Endomorphs - aka - athletic
· Mesomorphs - aka - fat

But in a world of over 6,797,000,000+ people in it, these three body types cover everyone? Generally speaking, Yes. Realistically speaking, NO. I've always felt that people can beat genetics. It's the attitudes, willpower, and overall lifestyles of the people that truly determine the body they have.

True.

Body types are used too often as an excuse for a person's shitty physical state. The truth is anyone from any body type can look like a fucking fitness model with enough work.

Body types are not a limitation, unless you are competing at the very elite of bodybuilding competitions.

Lack of willpower is the true limitation, and if there's anything all fat people have in common it's that they make excuses like no other.

body type is a hurdle. it's why my skinny friend can't gain any weight after years of lifting and scarfing protein shakes, while i am prone to gain fat but can also build muscle easily.

Your skinny friend isn't eating enough. If he says he's eating enough, tell him to eat more. I am>>56634, and I am what you would call a perfect ectomorph. But through my determination I've put on slabs of muscle, and people are surprised when they see me with my parents (my father is a beanpole and my mother is the skinniest person you will ever see).

Eating 4000-5000 clean calories daily isn't realistic for manly, financially, and comfort wise.

I don't even count my calories, I just make it a point to eat 5 meals of lean meat and organic vegetables each day.

Beats looking like a skinny fuck when you're applying to be a personal trainer.

lol organic

the only difference between organic and regular produce is you have higher priced poops. congrats.

I ate 5 meals a day and protein shakes and didn't gain weight. With 3 work outs a week and no cardio.

I was about at 2500-3000 calories a day.

I need around 5k to gain more weight. I'm 110 lbs if i don't work out. rail thin. 130 right now.

I probably COULD force it down my throat, but i'd be miserable all day and nauseous. I'd rather just keep up my current weight.

Vegetables don't build mass. Why the fuck do you bother if you're skinny?

lol don't be mad that you wasted your monehz on shit that is no different than regular produce.

lol, pic related.

anything can get the label organic.

This sounds like the thread to ask this in.

Do endomorphs build muscle fairly easy? I know losing fat's a bitch (down 30lbs myself and still going) but once I get to 180 I plan to bulk up. Will putting on muscle be much easier for me then an ectomorph?
>> Anonymous
>>56667
Yeah. It will be easy.

I buy my vegetables straight from farmers who refuse to use GH and insecticides. Pretty common thing in rural Australia. Costs about the same, and doesn't taste as bland imo

>>56669
oh i apologize since that's a different story. i thought you were one of the fucktards that bought "free-range" poultry and "grass fed" beef along with packages which state "organic" in big menacing letters. Carry on.

Good, it's been fucking difficult getting down from 245, 35 lbs to go. Don't want building muscle to be such a bitch.
