Sup /fit/

I was in a car crash 9 months ago and I look like a pregnant whale from being inactive for most of that time.. I need to get back into shape. I just want to be thin again and fit my old clothes, being muscular isn't my motive here.

Not sure about the work out yet, but I plan to eventually do 5000m in the pool each morning and 45 minutes HIIT jump rope/running/cycling after school. Right now I'm managing about half of that.

Started a diet 3 weeks ago:

2 slices of rye bread and 25g whey powder for breakfast
1 banana & 1 Animal Pak for lunch
1 can of tuna chunks in water for dinner
2 spoons of cottage cheese around eight

If you can offer any advice.. I'm just working with common sense here, having never been in a position where I've been unhappy with my body before I don't know a great deal about fitness.

I have a strong feeling that you will bland your diet into oblivion shortly.

Variate your protein/meats. Learn to use spices and make decent meals from basic healthy components, etc.

Variety is the key to life. I would get rid of the Animal Pak and the banana for lunch and substitute it with lean meat, preferably vegetables or fruit with a lower glycemic index, and some healthy nuts like almonds or cashews.

If you are looking to lose real weight, you should kill all processed carbohydrates from your diet, and even try to get rid of the cottage cheese. Eat your green vegetables and lean meats.
