I work out daily as I am in the army tho this just started about a week and a half ago. Any ideas on what the fuck I did to myself and how to fix it.

Shitty running shoes? Tried running on softer surfaces? Poor form?

REST. I know it's hard in the army but you need to rest it. The occasional hurting isn't bad. You just overworked it. The snap and pops then searing pain from heavy lifting is what you have to worry about. The lower body receives a lot of impact from running etc. The things your doing in the army are really high stress. Just try to not but a lot of stress on it and give it a couple of days. If it still hurts see a doctor.

make sure you know what's wrong before you try to run again. running through pain can do permanent damage.

Its been about a year since I bought running shoes. But I kinda brushed it aside as it is only the right.
Only concrete and asphalt to run on and my form hasnt changed since basic and this is the first problem ive had

good shoes is the best thing you can do for yourself. Especially with all the running in the army. Also, if you use the steel-frame backpacks like the canadian army does, it'd probably help to use your own internal frame bag, purchased through the army. much more comfortable.

yeah, it happened to my dad. He always used to run through his achilles tendon pain and now he has chronic pain that makes running painful. Ironically enough, he just joined the army reserves at age 50.

improper care for your lower extremities can, but not always lead to something like this. make sure you stretch properly and take some cooldown time before ending exercise. after a shower, you might wanna massage the troubled area a bit to help loosen it back up from your workout. if you aren't already taking a vitamin supplement, i highly recommend it.
