k so cottage cheese, questionwhen cutting whats the best, lowfat, nonfat, regular?i'm guessing nonfat, but do they all have the caesin(sp) protein in it that you should have before bed?
Stick with lowfat. It doesn't taste as bad as nonfat but still has ~180 calories/26g protein per cup. Great snack IMO.
I think all cottage cheese has casein protein, could be wrong though
If there is one thing that I've figured out from this thread: My knowledge of latin is superior to yours.

1% or nonfat, just depends on your taste. I actually don't like it at all, so I don't eat it, but it's a great snack anytime after dinner or near your bedtime, because of the casein protein.
everyone post a recipe for someone who does not like cottage cheese. What can one add to make it bearable?
>>246600Try scrambling it with eggs/egg substitute. The eggs tend to turn out just slightly watery, but you can fix that by tossing them around in the pan for an extra minute or two. Masks the taste quite a bit.
Is there anything that's NOT cottage cheese with the same benefits?I fucking hate that shit.
>>246980me too but nonfat isnt bad at all, doesnt really have any taste to it and i'm fine with eating it before bedbut low-fat tastes fucking awful
>>246980Quark, sorta. Casein protein supplements.
