I'm pretty sure I'll get saged for asking a stupid question that has a different answer for every individual, but how many calories does everyone burn off (or aim to burn off) per day/workout (cardio)?

Personally, I burn off around 522 (500 run, 22 in the cooldown) and I'm trying to lose weight (5'8", 165lbs -- yes, maj0r fatty)

I just run for about an hour, but I'm also wondering whether I should start cycling too.

tl;dr -- how many calories do you burn off per day/workout

i don't know bra', i lift weights and don't got a counter giving me a generic number.

same weight as OP.
I actually aim for 1000 calories/day.

I usually run for about an hour and try to eat some 1500 calories/daily but it usually ends up being more like 2000 and with the run i'm at 2500 so yeah, I aim at 1000 / day but usually fail miserably and end up at 500 / day.

personally i'm gonna start taking up cycling and swimming aswell just to get some variation as I heard that's good for yee.

I'd say that walking around/general living in the day counts towards a few calories (not that many mind).

I'm taking up swimming too, might warm up cycling (100-200 calories or so).

How tall are you?
