YO /fit/ please help!!My arch has been hurting/feeling really tight after doing exercise!based on this pic id say its the plantar fascia, seems to run along the length of that. Maybe centered a little bit in front of where it's pointed. No pain at all in the reddened area. WTF GIVES?!I thought maybe my shoes were the problem so I've been running barefoot lately but its still been bad by the end(though not AS bad)If I do too much it almost feels like its tightening into a claw and hurts a shitload. Please help!
Perhaps your shoes gave too little support...Seems likely to me, running barefoot when you get problems with your feet when wearing what I can only presume were general running shoes that weren't made to fix anything you don't have is fucking retarded...

How long have you been running with shoes?How long have you been running in bare feet?It takes a while for your body to adjust and compensate for different stresses. (Strengthening muscles, bones, tendons, etc)
>>204837Well recently just a couple weeks, but this has been a nagging problem for years now.I used to play a shitload of soccer basically every day if not multiple times a day and it would always partially bother me. Doctor's just told me to get those foot inserts which did/do nothing.hopefully it wont be so bad once i lose some weight
