HOW THE FUCK... Anonymous
... do I get addicted to exercise? How long is this supposed to take? Goddamn I've been at it for 3 weeks and it's still the biggest chore to move my ass to the gym. I feel a bit better after I'm finished my workout but I'm not feeling any sort of euphoria or endorphin rush at any point during or after.

Picture related, because I want to feel like cumming whenever I lift weights.

Yeah, that's cool and everything, but HOW DO I GET ADDICTED TO EXERCISE?
>> Beaver !D8rQiV7xz.
Come back in two months. Go out with friends, and see if they notice any differences. A few chicks have complemented me on my gains.

you DO know he was hamming it up for the film right? the producers thought that a straight-up documentary on body-building was gonna be boring. so they told the director to create a loose storyline. the director told Arnold to be an asshole on the film to create drama and thus Pumping Iron was born.

>the director told Arnold to be an asshole on the film to create drama
I WILL GIVE HIM... THE WRONG ADVICES...

If you don't enjoy the exercise you are doing maybe you should try something else? Another sport maybe? I don't know if you can get addicted if you dislike it from the beginning.

Well I was hoping if I work hard enough I could get addicted to the rush of endorphins, but that hasn't happened yet...

shoot heroin before lifting

and then soon after you wont even have to lift to get high off lifting!

I wish exercise was as addictive as cocaine.

I have a similar problem, I never feel like going to the gym, and the beginning is always hardest because even after 3 months you just begun.

Best advice I could give: exercise at home. Always worked for me, music I like + not having to go anywhere whenever I want to exercise. You should try it.

Working at home is both a blessing and a curse. No commute, no fees, no noobs doing curls at the squat rack, final destination. But at the same time more distractions.

fxt, although working at home has some of the same benefits and problems

Once you and/or women notice shit working.

I like lifting weights way too much, if I did it all the time I wouldn't get any gains though.
>> Anonymous
if arnold liked lifting he wouldn't have ended up where he is, which is as a fat, weak girlyman. he probably gets winded pulling up his pants. OP is similarly lazy. if you dont like working out, you never will.
sad but true

Those 'flabby pictures' were of him BEFORE filming Terminator 3 but AFTER HIS FUCKING HEART SURGERY.

Schwarzenegger remains in better shape that most men his age.

Yes. There's that one pic where he's not lean but IIRC he was in the hospital or some shit around that time.

He's nothing like he used to be, but he's still in pretty good shape.

oh lawd a 60 year old man not looking as good as he did when he was 30??? NO SHIT FAGGOT
>> Anonymous
OP your attitude is what's making it hard to enjoy. Stop telling yourself "this should be happening now". Seriously.
Just focus on how you can feel your body being pushed and stressed. And if it isn't being pushed stop working out because you are a pussy who won't push your limits.

Also; girls, compliments from friends help.

it feels like cumming it's great!

Lifting weights and whatnot never cause the feeling of euphoria for me. The motivator is noticing how your muscles have improved - lifting heavier weights off the bench compared to a few weeks ago etc.

If you want a nice endorphin rush I would suggest that you take a nice hard jog before or after gym. Start out slow to get your muscles warm, stretch, then run 2+ miles. You can use the treadmill of course, but I think running outside is more pleasant.

you need a workout partner. That way you both motivate eachother.
