I'm put out. I'm a total fatty, of short wide build (female) but since january I've been kicking ass, and sweating no less than 1 hour a day 5 days a week, and allowing rest during the weekend. My first weight loss was 15 pounds in 31 days. Now I find I've gained back 5. My eating is still as it was when I started my diet, and I'm able to suck my gut in farther than I ever have been able before. Even the photos I took in my skivvies show progress from last month.

I'm in no rush to put myself in the hospital trying to run too prematurely, and likewise I'm not interested in starving myself, as I'm barely eating 1000 calories a day as it is.

Anyone have a similar story? Did you eventually progress again?

And yet, its the most common and popular.

I'll have to try breaking up meals then.. but I'm scared it might lead to snacking temptations you know?

Anyhow.. I do DDR for 35 min to work up a good sweat (jumping around sure will do that), then proceed to squats, crunches, 5lb arm curls, calf raises while my heart rate is up. That gets done mon-fri. The weather is getting warmer so I'm sweating even more.
I'm trying to get the courage to walk, but I'm not in the best area, and gas is money.

I've definately gained muscle and I don't mind that, but I'd like to start to lose the actual weight again. I'm on a plateau of sorts I guess.
I'm probably just going to have to keep at it and hope the pounds shed again soon.

Fair enough, but bare in mind that for actually getting rid of the weight running/jogging/walking, or even swimming is better than DDR and weights.

the closer you get to achieving legendary leaness, the more stubborn that last bit of body fat becomes so you have to push yourself even farther if you want to torch it

Oh sure. DDR is more or less a tool to help me build some stamina (as well as fun), which is working. I'm coming from nearly 10 years of minimal activity apart from clicking internet mouse and feasting on chips and pop.

When my guy has less OT at work, I'm sure the walks will pick up.

Well my new reason for needing my weight to be less and watching it so obsessively, is because my folks have a treadmill thats gathering dust in their basement, but it's got a 250 limit on it. I was weighing in after waking up and using "the facilities".
If I didn't take photos of my progress I probably would have given up by now. Glad I didn't. :)

I'm just so exceedingly impatient. I want this fluff gone!
