Did anyone ever try this thing and had good results? I'm considering doing it and am interested in your opinion of it /fit/

Those lips look familiar...

Try it out for a few months. It works very well for some people and it's the best for mild to moderate acne. If you have severe acne, it's better if you try something else. The only bad thing about it is that you have to keep on using it when you're clear, or you'll start getting acne again.

So it just holds the acne back and doesn't actually solve it for good?

>>306941
nope. Kinda sucks doesn't it?

The best thing you can do is buy some Tretinoin (Retin-A) from overseas through the internet (You need a prescription in the U.S.) www.4rx.com is pretty good. I have been using their Tretinoin, you will break out and peel like a maniac the first two weeks, then you won't ever see a pimple again.

Uhh yes. How can I solve it once and for all then?

I used accutane from september through february of last year, have been on the regimen with a different moisturizer since i came off it, & my skin is perfect.

>Same anon here.
Also, you only apply tretinoin at night before going to bed, then wash it off in the morning, so it's really low maintenance and highly effective.

Used this & the other two retinoids (differin & tazorac) for a year. Shit sucked and completely ruined my complexion.

Nothing besides accutane cures acne. & accutane is rarely permanent. You'll be broken out while you're on it & then clear for 6 months after.

Best bet is go on accutane, then go on the regimen, like I did. been on it for 18 months and have had maybe 15 pimples during the course of that time.

OP here, I won't use accutane because the side effects are kind of scary and my acne is only mild and not serious. That's why the regimen from acne.org seemed good to me because it doesn't seem really drastic.

How did it ruin your complexion? I haven't had any problems...

Accutane is amazing. 6 months clear? Try forever. It will get rid of 95% of everything, and you can easily deal with the occasional whiteheads that popup.

my only problem is that I touch my lip and chin when I get bored - which makes me break out there. Soon as I get past that bad habit..

Side effects? Dry lips? Dude, carry a lip balm that moisturizes. Sun burn? stay out of the sun. Suicidal thoughts? That's bullshit. The only people that kill themselves using that are the ones that were going to kill themselves before anyways. Correlation is not causation, motherfucker. If you are worried a medicine is going to make you an hero, you are one weak, homosexual.

If you have a pizzaface, you need accutane. Bite the bullet, it's the best. I am in my mid-thirties now and it was one of best things I did.

Me continued. This label was on the bubblewrap on each pill when I took it 15 or so years ago. Any other accutanefags that recently took it and can tell me if that same label is on it?

Yeah, it's even worse now. If you're a girl, you really really have to go out of your way to get accutane. They have this stupid system called ipledge or something that makes you take a pregnancy test every month. You have to then show the results to your dermatologist so the dermatologist can input it. If you don't do this within 30 days, you have to wait another 30 days to get more accutane.

I did it and got great results was already rentin-a micro for months. All I did was replace his "benzoyl peroxide" with the med I was already on. Holy shizz I've been on it under a week and getting great results.

Isn't accutane for really extreme cases only? Or can it be used in mild cases too?
This "It gets worse before it gets better" shit scares me a lot, damn, I'm always around people whether it's work or friends and right now I'm sort of tolerable as my condition is only mild but I'd hate to think what will happen if it gets worse. I'll probably be reluctant to leaving the house.

The 3-step "regime":

1. benzoyl peroxide
2. More benzoyl peroxide
3. More fucking benzoyl peroxide

What a load of shit. I tried that benzoyl peroxide crap, along with washing my face in 2% sacilyic acid three times a day, and wearing sunscreen to even look out the window. I get the same amount of spots no matter what, and I'm just going to ask the dermatologist for accutane next time I see one.

You're going to be hard-pressed to find a dermatologist to prescribe you accutane for mild acne anyway.

>>307014
If you don't think the side effects are worth it, then your skin isn't bad enough to need it. For people with bad acne, dry skin is NOTHING in comparison.

I'm currently using the regimen and it works, it's cleared me up 80%+. Check out the forum on the site and gallery to see success stories etc. It's the best thing I've ever done for my skin. How strange, I'm always on that site and then I come on here for the first time and there's a topic about it :S

Don't let the 'worse before it gets better' scare you. That's like any acne medicine, even Oxy. You bother the equilibrium and it flares - but then it all goes in your way.

I agree with the anon that stated that if you are worried about dry skin, then your acne isn't bad enough. Mine was, and it was a simple choice. I got my parents to agree (I am the anon that had it 15 years ago), but they made me pay for it. Best investment ever.

As for taking this with mild acne, no. Accutane isn't what you are looking for. Oxy wipes will do it for you.

Eh it worked for me. My acne is mild and on my chin.
Just get the Neutrogena On the Spot, its a alot cheaper and the same thing, low bp %.
Wash your face, apply it vigoriously, apply lotion afterwards if you want. I didnt, my face is oily.
