You'd lose weight better and more safely with a negative calorie approach instead of starving yourself.
Start your day out with a reasonable, healthy item to give you some energy. A bowl of oatmeal is an example. Just don't feed yourself junk food.
Throughout the day and for Lunch eat negative calorie foods.
For dinner have a nice baked chicken breast, fish, or hell even beef or pork. Have a nice negative calorie vegetable with it.
This method will be much better for your body and you will actually lose more fat faster than starving while keeping more muscle.
