Progression Thread: Week #2 koji150 !COj0ATNiLw
Since I didn't see this here I figured I'd start it.

This week:
6'3"
205lbs
20.7% body fat

Started taking Creatine and Glutamine and have noticed a huge difference. At school I was able to do many more reps and lift more, and I'm so excited to head to the gym to get a real workout. I figured I'd post this before I left.

As they say in this mystifying century, "Fuck" the "haters"! Continue with your sojourn into Physical Culture!

Remember that this journey will last your entire life! Your "cre-a-tine" will require greater intake of water, as it floods your muscle cells with nourishing fluid!

Good show!

Tell me about it. I've been drinking about 1.5 gallons a day while on it. I've noticed if go about 3 hours without drinking anything I start to get a headache (the first sign of dehydration) but a quick chug gets rid of it quickly.

Why would you take Creatine at this point??? By the looks of you it you are just starting and should see good gains without any supplement!

There are times when a beginning Physical Culturist feels the need for an external source of power! I remember when I was a lad of twelve and bellied up to the bar for many fortifying pints of Barr's Iron Brew! The "scientific" effects may have been minimal, but that hoppy froth reminded me of my goals and fired my journey to the training-halls as if I were filled with sulfide of hydrogen!

153 lbs
I walked about more this week, walking about 12 miles, which helps one of my goals to be more active walking/jogging-wise. I've doing more dumbbell work this week too.

Week 2, same weight

I have been doing cardio every single day except I today which was a rest day.

The thing on my arm is from donating blood, I gave 2 units of red blood cells today.

Still around 152 lbs, but feeling much more fit after HIIT. That shit is amazing.

Didn't get to work out on Monday/ tuesday becuase of some conflicts, which I hate with a passion. Still got right on the ball on Wednsday thursday and today though.

And it looks like 99% of the people from last week dropped out.

We must have had a hundred people in the first round.

Did we really drop out that quickly? How in the hell did we manage a world wide protest....

First post...saw this last week, but can't transfer pics from camera still soo:

Starting stats: 5'2 F 170 lbs (fatty McFat!)
Goal: ~110 lbs

This week: 165 lbs (most of it was water weight obviously)

Alterations made:
More water less soda
1400-1600 calories per day
1 hour light cardio almost daily

Quite out of shape and thus easing myself in. Feel really good after my workouts though so it gives me a lot of motivation to keep at it. Hoping to add some yoga and pilates in this week.

This week:
On Wednesday weighed in at 207lbs and today at 209.6lbs. Ive been eating a lot cleaner, and I feel I have gotten stronger and gained some more muscle mass. I do a lot of cardio 5 days out of the week lasting about 2 hours a day, and weight circuts on top of that, as part of my Crew team's practices. I'm been able to do more reps and to run longer distances, and start to feel that nice ache of my abs starting to develop more. I took pictures and More or less I look the same as last week though. :/ I'm too tired to post em now, so ill make it part of the eight week collage.

I'm still here, but my camera is a piece of crap, and thus crapped out on me. That being said I went, and did stick to my workout routine, added about 20 pounds to my bench and the same to my squat. I'm not so sure about my squat form so I don't think its that much of an accomplishment.

TL DR: I'm too lazy to fix the fucking camera.

Not much noticable difference from last week in this pic, but the scales say I've gained 4 pounds, though I don't quite believe that, and I can definately see the difference.
Been doing 30mins a day, working on different muscle groups each day so as not to overdo it.
I've been eating shitloads of food as well
>> Meat Popsicle !!00dMPp6qrDw
Been sick all week, so only worked out twice. But these are results.

Weight:271 (guarantee that this is all water and muscle that was lost while sick)

There's really no point in it unless Progression_Guy comes back and does the bookkeeping. I'll play along though, since I'm keeping my own pics anyways.

Started at 141.6, and this picture is at 239.6lbs. Only because my cheat day was on Thursday, which left me with extra pound. Even this morning (Saturday), I'm down to 238.8.

I think this was my tripcode. I hate tripfagging :(

I've been eating pizza and shit, and performing in a musical. I just finished the musical Sunday, and I got sick. I've been eating better the past couple days, but haven't gotten back to my best nutrition and exercise yet (today, though, will run if it warms up a bit).

>a headache (the first sign of dehydration)

So that why i have such a bad headache yesterday, being outside all day i could barely take a glass of water.

This week, not much of a difference. But i admit i didn't do a lot of cardio. But i did strengthening... and lots lots of squats. I think it can't be seen, but when i try to sit i FEEL the difference. It hurts so bad.

If you're drinking that much water a day and going 3 hours makes you feel dehyrdated, something is going wrong. You should suffer the effects of dehydration for like, 8 hours of normal activity.

I just made my own thread with both weeks yesterday; to see if there was a noticable difference. Lats are the only thing I could see. It's funny I like how I look in the pics I've taken better than looking down or in a mirror.

151.6->154.4
Goal is 170.

Fellow /fit/fucks,

I propose to you a deal. If one of you is willing to serve as a thread creator for my articles, for I am unable to do so myself, I would reward that anon with access to my personal knowledge of diet, nutrition, and strength training. I would be willing to answer any questions for that anon, provide tips and even create routines. All I ask in return is that you copy and paste what I ask you and submit.

My knowledge is 95% accurate and completely based upon scientific studies and personal experience, something which I cannot say for the majority of the posters here.

It's a progression thread... if you're trying to log your progress, shouldn't you be allowed to participate without being criticized?

Anyways, I think I lost about 1lb of fat, and I was able to move up pretty significantly in my lifts.

~200lbs
Have no idea what my body fat is
Bench: 265
Squat: 275
Deadlift: 290

your squats should be way higher then your bench, but your lifts in general are pretty nice.

Oh my fucking god. That's like me. I'm like 5'7" - 5'9", and around 170lbs+.

I feel flabby. Thighs, and ass feel hueg. Getting a hard gut under the flab, and my pectorals could have definition, but are fail, cause there's probably flab covering it too.

I wanna lower my body fat %. Would running help? Cause running doesn't seem to do jack. I'm starting to focus my foods to salads, and sandwiches. Trying to cut back on whites now, and less white rice.

Sure if you're trying to progress and tell what you're doing, thats great.

When you post a pic and are like "lol same as last week, 8% body fat" its retarded. If he had been like "increased this lift" or "changed this" thats one thing.

But he's obviously not trying to lose weight, and probably just posting the picture because he's already where he wants to be.
