Perfect Pushups Anonymous
I've been doing these at work, since they're available here. Haven't been that heavy on working out for a few years, since leaving high school.

I'm trying to build up my chest and arms doing these things. Have also been mixing in some pullups after work. Been mostly doing the pushups in rep-sets of 8x6x4x2 of the regular, far and close positions.

Will this help?

I've seen these assisted pushup things before, they are fucking expensive for floor handles.

are you getting a superior workout then if you'd do normal pushups?

it actually looks better for the wrist, but I can't justify paying over 20 bucks for the fucking things.

yea it is definitely a superior workout compared to normal push-ups. Probably one of the better fitness equipment deals out there imo

Try doing these pushups called "Phelps pushups". These are bit heavier than normal pushups but it works out a bit different places than normal pushups. Place your left arm like 10-15 cm further than the right arm. Then switch sides. Pic related.

Too bad pushups are a crappy fucking exercise to begin with

It feels just as natural not to rotate as it does to rotate your arms, punching or pushing up. I think that these would just hinder your stability and possibly injure you if you don't have the strength to balance yourself.

I have it, i love it.... i can't really justify spending ..however much they cost. but I had the extra money so... why not? besides i dont have access to heavy weights so i wanted something to be comparable to a "bench press" like lifting activity.
It does really help activate every muscle in your core, especially doing them with your feet elevated and with a slower tempo

I've always wanted to try and do vertical push-ups with these, would I have to worry about them breaking on me or slipping?

Nah, they're really solid. Have tough grips on the bottom, and are built pretty damn well.
