Whats the best way to sleep so your spine/posture don't suffer?
>> rowerfag
sleep on your back

sleeping on stomach is hell for upper lumbar/lower thorasic spine...

side is ok too

What about curled up in a ball like I usually do?

i saw a diagram of how pillows affect your spine and shit

seems hard to ge the right pillow, though everyone seems to agree to sleeping on your back or with a pillow between your legs

I don't think it really matters unless you're terribly out of shape and/or have bad posture. Your muscles will automatically rest in decent positions. Stomach sleeping is probably worst though.

probably on your side right... if so that's what i do half the time and it's a-ok

generally the only thing to really avoid is sleeping prone

Advice taken. Thanks guys.

Pillow between your legs is definitely the best bet. Especially if you are lonely. Pretend it is the embrace of a soft, square woman.

I've always found spooning helps me sleep.

I mean, I'm more comfortable and less likely to roll onto my stomach.

Sleeping on your back is best. I have a very long standing habit of sleeping on my side, so it's hard for me to fall asleep on my back, but I feel better whenever I do. I had to stop sleeping on my side for a while when I cartilage in my ribcage was inflamed, and the compressing pressure from sleeping on my side aggravated it.

Sleeping on my side causes my bottom shoulder and arm to suffer unnatural pressure all night, and compress my ribcage inwards. Ever try sleeping on a hard surface on your side? It's awkward as fuck.

on your side in a fetal position

The fetal position only works if you are terminally lonely and want to die.

i find i can't sleep on my back, not because of body position or anything like that, but because all i can see is the light leaking into my room from the floodlight standards outside my window on the street. i got tired of blocking every trace of light, and now just plant my face into my pillow. urg.
