Hay /fit/! I used to do Tae Kwon Do but recently our branch broke of from the International TaeKownDo Alliance (ITA).

We now do a combination of Tae Kwon Do and Jujutsu. What should I think of this?

Yeah, it's a good thing. As a martial artist, basic ground-fighting knowledge/skills are very important nowadays.

I agree, without ground combat expect to get a beating in a real fight.

Brazilian jujitsu is ten times better than traditional, so I'd suggest taking that.

For your sake look into a better striking art than TKD. It's not useless, but there are better ones out there.

Why take bjj when you can take judo, afterall bjj did originate from judo and they share pretty much all the techniques plus you can throw people.
