>>2935 You can get paralysis or death from driving a car and fucknig up once, parkour's no different. You start out slow, you learn how to roll first and then you learn vaults and precisions. You never do anything that wouldn't be safe with the skill set that you have. The dudes you see jumping from building to building and jumping down 2 stories have trained for years before they get to that point.
If you want to get into parkour, generally, people come from 1 of 3 backrounds. They're either gymnasts, these are the best because they just have to learn how to navigate an evironment they have all the skills and strength. Or you come from a sports backround, there's several guys who played football and just thought to dick around on some railing, these guys have the stregth but lack all the finess, they normally resort to scaling something head on instead of using their enviroment to the fullest. Then theirs the lazy fuckers who saw videos of it and actually gained up the courage to go to a jam, they have no strength, no stamina, and can maybe do 20 pushups and run 200m without getting winded. This, as you can tell, is the hardest place to start.
There's proably a forum online for your area, normally by state and start there. Go to a jam, see if you like it.
