I was under the impression that if you kept an athletic physique, toned.. without a ton shitty choloesterol blocking your arteries... youd do fine...

And that maybe really buff guys are just putting too much wear/tear on their bodies... constantly asking their cells to multiply and shit... and also just consuming so many calories... kinda sounds like "furious and fast"

Well we don't really know yet because exercise as a hobby hasn't been around that long. Most people did plenty of physical work back in the day, and health and nutrition came second to working to put food on the table. It wasn't until the 50's and 60's that we had more leisure time and we could go jogging or lifting.

I don't think exercising is going to extend your life more than a few years, but hey, there's such a thing as aging gracefully. I intend to keep up this lifestyle the rest of my life. I don't want to be whining about my joints or aches when I'm 40

I'd assume you're more likely to have bad joints and aches if you exercise regularly.

You know, id rather have bad joints than WEAK ligaments and tendons.... you can get some glucosamene for that pussy joint shit... imagine what we can do in 40 years

Plus, a healthy heart and functional lungs... goes a long way right?
