>>55634 hes just joking, as supplemental lifts, hack squats, hack deadlifts, trap bar deadlifts are fine.
not being an expert lifter, you should stay away from these and learn proper form with a straight bar.
its quite simple, 3 things
1. never lose the arch in your back 2. bar comes up off the ground before your legs straighten 3. pull back not up- stop when your torso is vertical
do you want a video, or is that easy enough to do? there are smaller details like 4. bar is touching your shins in starting position, drag it up scraping your shins 5. keep your head facing forward on some distant point on the wall, not too high or low- eye level. 6. its okay to arch your upper back, but always, ALWAYS, keep the lower back tight it should look like ) 7. grip the bar shoulder width, grip it overhand, or regular grip it doesn't really matter (overhand works your static grip better) 8. try to keep your weight evenly spread out on your feet- but dont be afraid to put weight on your heels, imagine a deadlift as pulling a drowing person out of the water into your boat, HEEEEEEEEAVE backwards (remember to stop heaving at vertical)
dunno what else, theres lots of minor things you will see when you actually perform the lift, good luck.
