Hey /fit/. I just ate some pasta, and it was like one a half servings. Now, I just realized cooked pasta weighs more than uncooked. I didn't over eat, did I? I measured it when it was raw, and it was 88 grams (serving was 56 grams, for 180 calories). But, when it was cooked, it was well over 200 grams. The box didn't specify cooked or raw, which is why I'm worried. I only ate 270 calories, right?

Dude, the only weight added was water. Water has no calories, therefore cooked pasta has no more calories than raw pasta.

He is asking if they weighed the pasta before or after to determine a serving size. If they weighed it before, then he ate 270 calories. If they weight it after, he ate over twice this amount.

All you have to do is look at the chart and look at servings per container. Do the math and if it's the same weight on the front of the box, then they weighed it before and you consumed 270 calories.

What he's saying is should he have eaten 88g of cooked pasta or 88g of uncooked pasta. Obviously, 88g of uncooked has more calories. (ie. if you cook it to becomes 100g, so 88g of that is only 88% of the callories of 88g uncooked). That's his question.

I'm pretty sure it's uncooked. You are fine op. You could always look at servings per container and the net weight of the box and figure it out.

Point is he meant that when cooked the weight was 4 servings worth, and if they meant cooked (which they didn't) he'd ....have eaten 4 servings worth- which would be a lot more calories. I don't think I fucked that up..
