Hi guys i've had a slight problem with my push ups, Ive done a regime of doing push-ups every other day during the week but today noticed that i have weird clicking sounds coming from both my elbows. I'm godamn sure im doing it right but does anyone on /fit/ have any clue whats happening?

afaik its caused by weak triceps and it goes away pretty fast once you start doing them regularly.

you'll notice if you use a wide grip your elbows wont make the sound.

I still have this problem but i've noticed its gotten alot better over the past month.

But it's so uncomfortable. Is there any way to avoid it completely? Except not doing push ups?

Try working on your triceps with different weight routines, or spread your hands further out.

I had the same problem, but just in the left elbow and only in the morning (i do 50 pu's to wake me up in the morning). It's quite a creepy sound. Went away with time
