Powerlifters are just fucking retarded overcompensators. At least people into fitness for vanity look good. Powerlifters just look like fat white trash.

I use to do like half of a clean (I'd stop before I'd move the bar into a FS position) to help my shoulder injury (rotator cuff).

1handed pushups and 1handed pullups. i do them to show off midway through the routine, not as part of any real routine.

squatz, deadhang pullups, weighted dips, powercleans/overhead presses, barbell lunges, and dragon flags.

i know these exercises fairly normal for the most part, but they're fairly uncommon in my gym, where most people are bicep curling, dumbell shoulder pressing, and fucking around on the machines.

Uncommon?

barbell complex (usually 4 sets with increasing weight) - 6 reps of
deadlift
upright row
hang power clean
front squat
push press
back squat

all without putting the barbell down
quite possibly the best warm-up ever

I'm not a pretentious asshole in the gym, so I don't do any "uncommon" lifts. No need to make yourself look like a tool fucking around when the basics will continue to work no matter how big you get.

Most people who need to do weird shit in the gym are lazy asses who think this next new thing means they dont have to work out as hard.

Just look at OP pic, look at his flabby, flabby thighs and tiny calves.

pistol squats with weight in a suspension backpack. even amputees should fucking do their squatz

I squat one set on one of those inflatable discs to test my balance and get the hinks out of some of the muscles.

foam body rollers. love stretching with these

i'm the only guy that i've ever seen at my gym doing turkish get-ups. it's the only thing i use the kettle bell for as well.
