Is it true that drinking fruit juice is just as bad for you as drinking soft drinks because of the carbs in fruit juice?

rawr, most of these 'simple sugars' are fructose. fructose does not spike insulin as it does not need to in order to be absorbed. therefore it won't fuck with your insulin sensitivity. the only issue is that it doesn't create a leptin response, so it won't make you feel sated/full. generally i find i don't want to drink too much anyway so it's not really an issue.

and after glycogen stores are replenished, all excess energy will convert to fat. complex carbs or not.
