Hi /fit/ my chest is weird. It’s called Pectus excavatum. It doesn't annoy me during everyday life, but I do feel ashamed in some situations. Fortunately my deformity isn't that severe. Kind of like the picture. (which isn't me btw lol).

Should I get an operation?
>> Anonymous
i have the same problem. i will post pics later. fortunately the deepest part is right in the middle and is almost symmetrical as it spreads out. The right is a bit more caved in. But when I am wearing clothes it looks like I have a fucking ripped chest lol.

Hey
I had the same thing and had it operated a few months ago. Thing is, I'm a girl and now my boobs are pretty much fucked up.
But since you're a guy, definatley go for an operation.
My sport skills really went up since I got it fixed xP

Oh and... there's no way you could get rid of it without operation.

i didn't even know that was a medical condition, i thought thats just how some people happen to be, due to genetics.

This is actually fapworthy. I imagine all the silly magnets i could place on you, then you could pretend to be like that robot girl from small wonder. I even have an outfit for you to wear.

vagoo or gtfo

Hrm. I have this too. They say if you lie on your back and do leg lits, that it will help. I haven't seen too much of a difference. Though I will say that when I was really militant about doing pushups every morning, shit was a lot better looking!

Not a very clear shot, but they really don't look that bad. I wouldn't worry about it.

where did you hear this? why/how could that possibly do anything?
(I also have this, though not quite as bad first 2 pics)

I hear the operation is horribly painful. As long as it isn't affecting your health you should leave it alone. Unless you walk around with your shirt off all the time?
>> Anonymous
>>54632
I want to be able to take my shirt off when I'm at the beach or something, at least.

For some reason whenever I see this topic I keep thinking of those car dent removers I see on infomercials.

It is painful but I got a lot of painkillers. The abstinence symptoms were probably worse than the pain I actually felt. And if this affects your health (which the doctors test before they do anything) you should go for it I think.

Can't believe no one has said this until now.

Because, unless you have a very mild case of a funnel chest, it won't do shit. In this case, the only thing sport can do is giving you a better posture.

Larger pectorals will increase the size of his chest and make his problem less noticeable. Wtf are you talking about?

I would totally do a shot out of an indented chest.

By growing muscles you’ll only be accentuating the dent.
>> Anonymous
if you got a dent on the other side, and got fat you could sport some mad cleavage
>> Anonymous
>>54872
More like the dent is accentuating the muscles. His is only a slight dent, it won't even be recognised as a deformity.

my good friend had that, he didn't get surgery, women love him.,
>> Anonymous
>>54906
ditto. But they love him for reasons other than his chest.

I also have this. Sometimes when I run it hurt a little at the way top of the dent. It freakin sucks, but I try to keep my heart rate nice and steady, then it doesn't even bother me.

Sometimes I hold my breath, and kind of hold in my breath (kinda hard to explain) It pushes out the chest a little bit, and I always try to keep a straight posture.
