Hello /fit/,

I am 5'11" 230lb. (of mostly fat). I am 18 years old. I have no idea about being /fit/. I'm also relatively broke (I do full-time internship and college, not much $).

Three months ago I decided that it was time to start working out and eating healthier. I'll admit, I'm not on a strict diet and don't think I could abide by one. I simply stopped drinking soda and all of that bullshit (0cal drinks) and started eating healthier by cutting down on sodium, bad carbs, fast food, etc.

My work out? Well, as I mentioned above I honestly can't afford nor really want to go to a gym. I've been doing what I can at home:
Daily I do:
30 minutes on exercise bike
20 pushups followed immediately by 20 butterfly curls with 20lb bells
35 situps

I know, it probably sucks ass, because I've seen minimal result - I expected 3-5lb off within 3 months but I haven't really budged. I really want to focus on working my man-boobs off.

I'm not looking to be toned or any of that, just want to cut down to 180-200lb, and lose the man-boobs.

So, even though I've drastically improved my dietary habits as well as exercise about 2000% more than before, I'm not going to lose any weight until I go on a strict diet?

eat more healthy food and less unhealthy food and exercise more.

Your college tuition doesn't include a membership at the college gym?

Start running! Seriously, aerobic activities burn alot of fat and calories. You don't need to stay on a strict diet just cut out all the bullshit like you have and eat more but smaller meals. Don't forget to keep uping your exercise regime also.

Consistency is key to any regimen, exercise or diet.

Don't expect results if you exercise randomly and don't keep a lock down on bad foods.

Thanks for the advice. I've been trying to eat smaller meals, and I've cut pretty much all of the "bullshit" out of my diet. I'll start running tomorrow.

But I'm really self-confident about my man-boobs. The attached picture is more or less how my body looks. Any advice strictly pertaining to getting rid of man-boobs? I know cardio will help, but specific exercises are always welcome; I'm hoping push-ups and butterfly curls will help.

From the bulge in those pants you're pretty well equipped. That goes a long way in offsetting other defects.

Amazing self-confidence, because most people would try themselves to sleep if they were as ugly as that body. No one will ever love you, fatty.
