where does /fit/ get it's whey protein? im looking for a deal
anything i should keep in mind to avoid?
>> UTi
I first started getting Whey from GNC, but found out how over priced they are from frequenting these boards. Best deals I normally find are at my grocery store.
>> %@$swordy !Sw4xsrAEgk
just ran down to the local rite aid, prices see to be a lot harsher than the GNC online prices
>> %@$swordy !Sw4xsrAEgk
my bad i was looking at the gold membership prices
fuck gnc is terrible

get cytosport cytogainer.
I thinks is the best protein you can get.
Just take 1 serving after working out.
I gained five lean pounds in 2 weeks.

I got fucking like 10 lbs of some shit for 60-70 bucks (woulda been 160 if I bought it IRL @ GNC or some shit)

go to sweetdeals.com and lurk some until you find it, hueg thread about getting some baller deal on ON whey tubs, basically anything over a 70 dollar purchase you get like 10-15 bucks off, and its $35 per huueg tub which is usually 35 for a small one irl, anyway i just order from there. lasts me almost 6 months for that much

ON sucks, it has sucralose in it.

cytogainer is hands down the worst protein blend you could possibly take post workout. the only reason you gained 5 lbs is because your diet was fucking pathetic to begin with. any source of excess calories would have put weight on your skinny bitch frame

I highly doubt that.

What does /fit/ think of Body Fortress Walmart Brand Whey Protein?
>> Anonymous
>>362604
Optimum has a natural version too with fructose
, so stfu fagget.
>> Anonymous
>>362604

Some of it has sucralose, some of it doesnt. The natural shit uses fructose or stevia.

Gold Standard Vanilla Ice Cream and Double rich chocolate has no Sucralose. But their Vanilla/Banana Casein has Sucralose.

Body Fortress at Target cost me $13, has 14 servings, 52g of protein, and 210 calories per serving. So it's very inexpensive.

If you know someone who is a costco member, i was able to get this shit for ~40 bucks and its lasted me 3-4 months and I still have about 2 pounds left. Comes with 6 pounds and 27g of protein per serving.

They sell those for $30 here. They used to be $32. Even when I was visiting Cali they had it for $32.

I use this but in chocolate. Tastes pretty good with milk, but then again since I'm on a protein diet where everything tastes bland as fuck, my taste in things have been fucked.

So does it actually dissolve easily like it says?
>> Anonymous

Nope. Unless you use warm liquid or something. Warm milk makes sense; water sounds too gross.

I'm going to become rich and famous once I invent a protein powder that isn't a clumpy mess.

if you use a shaker cup pretty much anything will mix decent

Has anyone bothered with the thought "you get what you pay for?"

considering people here (theoritically) care about 'eating clean' and 'health', wouldn't the goal be getting QUALITY protein?

you realize there is NO GOVERNING TESTING BODY WHATSOEVER ON SUPPLEMENTS, some 75% plus supplements purchased from stores FAIL 3rd party lab tests for truth in labeling, even MORE disturbing is the presence of filler, even the same, toxic 'nitrogenous' substance teh chinese were just having with their powdered milk, because it has a similar profile as protein does and is cheaper.

TLDR: spend a little more and ACTUALLY GET what is labeled on the bottle. Buy from quality companies. if you bitch you cant afford it, why do you even 'need' protein powders in the 1st place?

protip: It AINT going to make the difference
