So, I've heard everyone here on /fit/ rage about green tea as an alternative to water. I want the benefits but...

I can't stand it. I've never liked tea, and when I tried it again to today I could barely get through a quarter of a glass. Is there any way to make green tea tolerable for non-tea drinkers without nullifying the idea of a healthy drink in the first place?

Honey and lemon/other fruit juices with low sugar content.

whenever I drink hot tea I usually add a little cinnamon and vanilla extract, makes it taste pretty good I think

I'm not OP, but I do love my tea. I've never had Oolong but have always wanted to try it. Is it similar in taste to green tea or entirely different?

Entirely different. I suggest you try it, if only once.

Well that's just fucking ominous.

Quite bitter, has an aftertaste.
Leaves can be infused multiple times because it's very strong.
The restaurant my family goes to every Chinese New Year serves Oolong after the very large meals because according to them it speeds up metabolism. They serve it on a giant platter full of ceramic shot glass-type cups.
I just drank a liter of it today for shits and giggles. Got very jittery and was extremely quick and aware. Did an SAT practice when I've tried before and filed due to boredom.

It's an acquired taste. Force it down.
