sup /fit/, I'm sure you guys get a thread like this daily but ill go ahead and ask anyways

what are some good around the house things to do if I don't have a membership to a gym?

I know I read something about throwing sandbags or something and biking, well i have a stationary bike which I use but I'd like to get some upper body muscle

so yea anything I can do that is cheaper than getting a gym membership or buying a home gym?

Dude, if you are in college or high school (i hope not the latter) then there is ALWAYS a gym you can use.

If you are beyond that, invest in freeweights or just manipulate around heavy shit in a similar manner (i hope not hte latter)

also don't forget of the benefit of manipulating your own body, a pull-up rod is a nice thing to have around and easy to install, and you can always get your core pushup and ab workouts done on any old floor (perhaps using a couch to act as a toe counterweight if needed).

Just buy a barbell and a bench. That's really all you need.
