I went to sleep at 12:15AM or so (with the intent of waking up at 6:00AM), and I was a tiny bit hungry, but it was easy enough to ignore

It's now 4:03AM, and I'm awake again (woke up unprovoked around 3, took me an hour to realize that I wasn't slipping back in to unconsciousness)

I'm quite hungry, but I don't get to eat for another 4.5 hours (oatmeal + banana at 8:30AM, 90 minutes after the HIIT I'll perform around 6:30)

should I eat some pickles or baby carrots to be less hungry, or should I just wait it out? Thanks, pic semi-related

I vote carrots and water, just because pickles are gross =/

pickles are actually awesome, but it's more a matter of whether or not I should eat as opposed to what exactly I should eat

I could wait it out (I plan on trying to go back to sleep soon), but I can't tell if running would be more difficult when I'm this hungry, or if it'd be more difficult with a bit of food in my stomach

I love eating baby pickles with steak or something.
Yumm

OP is going to drink some water, then ignore hunger for now and attempt to go back to sleep

The thought of HIITing with something in my stomach is unpleasant; I feel that once I wake back up and start running, the hunger will go away for a little while (probably)

OP couldn't go back to sleep, so he's going to eat some pickles

fuck -_-

I feel you OP.
Ever since I've been exercising, I got so much energy sometimes I can't sleep. Then I end up getting hungry, and I eat a snack. Fuuuuuck -_-

I ate four pickles; no calories or harmful stuff, but still

does this make me a bad person?

Nah. Once I ate a whole bowl of hot noodles. :(

If your hungry, eat. Don't sit there starving to death and not being able to sleep just because it screws up your routine a little.
