overgrown verruca?

Looks like a corn, something I had a while ago, and it also looks like you've been picking at it. Try something like Bazuka. That stuff works like a charm, but it will take time.

this person is correct. It's a callous thats been picked at. I have them on my feet because I run alot. Use lotion every day and if they get really bad then use a nail file and scrape them off. You'll know you got one off when the file starts to hurt. Callouses are dead skin mainly and dont have nerve endings.

either a callous or a plantar wart

a doctor is fine too

I knew what that was the second i saw it; the slit down the center is a dead giveaway.

It's a wart, and i used to have those all over my hands. You can try cutting it off but im over 9000 percent sure it will just grow back. You could also try the nitrogen freeze, but even that doesnt take sometimes.

I got rid of mine by taking a pill for heartburn, actually. There is a pill called "Tagemet" I believe (spelled it how it sounds) that is used primarily for acid reflux, but a side effect is that it gets rid of all warts too. Talk to ur doctor, either way.

It is a plantar's wart. I had a badass of one on my foot for nearly 4 years, and tried a variety of salycilic acid treatments.

Finally I found this liquid salycilic acid in a bottle that i would drench and dry it on the spot twice a day for a few months.

Yes, my wart was about 1/2 inch deep and nearly the size of a dime.

agreed. the center of the slit is where the root starts. If you cut it off and miss even a little piece of the root it will grow back in a week.

It's a wart. Don't bother trying to cut it off, it doesn't work. They are harmless and mostly painless, but quite ugly.

I had one for years on my toe then one day it just dried up and fell off. This was at the same time that I started taking a lot of vitamin supplements, although in all my research I've never read that that might help so your mileage may vary.
