Never posted here before but, i've been interested in building up some more muscle and getting rid of some fat lately.
I just have a couple of questions to ask.
I'm 17 years old, nearly 18, 6foot 1 and about 13/14stone.
I was wondering, what weight dumbbell/barbell should i use first off? cos i don't want to overdo myself straight away or use something far to weak?
How often should i straight using weights a week?

try 15. if you can do more than 15 consecutively with each arm, then go up to 20.
