Sup /fit/,I'm ready to start weight training and have lurked here quite a lot. I know so far that what I want is a 5x5 program, but there are quite a few out there. I'd like a decent one from the start so that I don't waste my time and switch to some other one. So far I'm settled on Starting strength. any other suggestions/confirmations?also quick question, should I bulk for 2 months then cut for one all year, or bulk for 9 months then cut for the rest of the year?pic related. please forgive any ignorant mistakes I make and refrain from acting like the pope.
starting strength is simple enough, stick with itand the bulking and cutting depends on your size already, probably bulk first for awhile though
