You were lucky that you fainted in a place with no sharp corners and moving objects... things would turn out differently if you fainted while crossing a road or something.
Hypoglycemia can also result in brain injury (i coundn't find the term in the translation dictionary... but its kind of like there is too much water in your brain... and you die >.<) but that is usually the case with severe hypoglicemia
Excersis more rather then not eating any carbs...
Btw if you won't eat enouph protein (about 120+ grams per day) you internal organs WILL suffer, such as you can get a lupos distrophy of your liver, anaemia, your legs can become swollen (too much liquid in them, cause of the lack of proten in your blood)
