Question

I'm using the daily plate to count calories, and i've just noticed that the recommended protein intake is so low, im often doubling it or more if i take a protein powder after I work out.

Today, i havnt had dinner yet and i'm at about 108 grams of protein.

Are there any negative effects of getting too much protein in your diet?

Should i stop taking whey powder after i train?

Yes. Fucking your kidneys in the long run.

1.8g/kg of lean body mass is generally enough for anyone not on steroids. But it depends on how much you eat in total.
