Hey /fit/,

I've actually started caring about my appearance and decided to cut some weight. I lost about 20 pounds, but started to notice areas of my skin (that I couldn't really see before) that are... unnaturally dark? I would say it's dirt I'd never pay attention to wash because they were more concealed by my fat... I've been scrubbing these areas extra for quite a while now and they don't go away. How do I get the dirt out?

tl;dr Dirt stains on skin, how do I deal with it?

Dirt...stains? Like...soil, earth, literally dirt? Or nonspecific filth? I don't know what the fuck you've been rolling in, but I doubt it could permanently stain your skin. I suggest seeing a dermatologist about it.

your skin is not dirty.
the darks areas are hardened skin or reddened by your weight.
give it time, it'll go away.

It's not like there's a texture to it or anything, with fucking plants growing out of it. Just slightly darker skin. Maybe I'll post a picture.

Also, goddamn it, I shower every day. I'm not some sort of filthy greasy dirt creature. Though maybe I was, as a kid.

If it won't wash out, there's no texture, and you haven't spilled anything fucking weird on yourself, why would you think it's dirty? Wait a few weeks to see if it goes away, then see a doctor.

This probably wouldn't hurt either:
