i have a question for anyone whos ever had bulimia or purging disorder, after you were done purging did it seem like you threw up less than what you ate?

After purging, it seemed a lot less - but most of it is partially digested by stomach acid and watery. Most of what you get up is water.

Indeed. I've heard from many credible sources that you retain anywhere from 30-50% of the calories that you attempt to purge. Which the average BMI for bulimics, even those who purge "everything" they eat, is 25-26. Bulimia sucks, better to just not eat at all.

Sometimes.
It depends a lot on how quickly you purge and how thorough you are about it.
I find that if I purge within 15-20 minutes of eating I can get most of what I ate back up, though getting the last bits out takes a lot of work and usually leaves me feeling terrible. I've learned to be OK with not getting it all out, and now I aim for getting about 80% of what I ate back up.

Other Anon is right about water though. Purging drags a lot of water out of your system, so you should always drink something afterwards so you don't get dehydrated.

only because that includes the fat goth bitches who threw up once so they call themselves bulimic even though they aren't committed to it. bulimics aren't as skinny as anorexics but all the ones i know are still quite thin.
