time for a serious post:

great dinner dude. you've got your meat (what type) hugep late of salad, water, banana...overall this is a very healthy dinner but if you told me what your specific goal is (gain weight, lose weight) i could tell you more.

but if you're looking just for a healthy dinner than that's good enough. maybe throw a half cup of some brown rice.

Why do people suggest brown rice over say, white rice?

more fibre. you have to make your calories count.

Thanks mate. I also got the cod liver oil capsule (I take zinc, vitc and that every day). The burgers are grilled quarterpounders (100% lean scottish beef). Salad is mixed salad (Raddicchio or whatever its called, lettuce and something else i don't remember). Good idea about the rice I'll look into it. I actually like it more than white rice (well occasionally). Well target is as always burn fat, gain muscle. Not enough time to work out today but managed to get an hour and a half of bmxing which wasn't bad.

well i could give you more pointers if i knew what your goals were.

gaining weight: more rice, more meat, milk and maybe some bread.

lose weight: switch to leaner meats like turkey and chicken and fish.

if you're just trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle an give yourself the proper nutrients to do so then you are doing alrite.

In that case I'd cut out the banana and eat some cottage cheese instead with what you have now

Well to gain weight (muscle that is), my best friend, who I have to admit issuper-fit (around 188cm, 90kg, 4-5% body fat at the most), eats the boiled egg-whites of 6-8 eggs when he comes back from the gym. Said he wanted to get protein from something other than whey powder etc. Is he taking it too far? I'm considering this method as well, since I'm gonna start full-on weight training soon.

leaner meat?!?! He said it was 100% lean. How much leaner can you get?

Help me out here, why do we want fiber? How does it make my calories count?
