healthy fast food? Anonymous
I like to have a burger meal after hitting the gym, but I've been thinking about switching for something more healthy. I mean, all that sugar and fat isn't the best after-gym food, even if it has proteins.

But what is a better choice then? A subway sandwich? Or a pizza with decent topping?

What do you guys have? No protein-shake please.

Subway ham and turkey sandwich on wheat. 6" or footlong, doesn't matter.

I'm so confused, so rice is good? I know chicken is great, but I thought rice was a no-no, or is that for fat people trying to lose weight? I'm trying to gain and build muscle.

Rice = Protein, IIRC.

RICE=CARBS

but if you're not some kind of chink or nigger-ape you should be eating brown rice anyway, which is much better for you

Try chick-fil-A they have some nice chicken sandwiches. The chargrilled chicken sandwich, imo, is darn good. Plenty of proteins but not heavy on the calories (low fat). If you're going for healthy-ness opt for the cup of fruit instead of the fat laden fries and sip on a water instead of a soda.

If you're leaning towards healthier fast food, Subway is the way to go.

Now, normally, I would say to anybody with a less then moderatley active lifestyle to stick with Black Forest Ham, Turkey and Veggie 6" subs with no cheese or mayo, in this case, you're working out constantly so you can actually get anything you'd want out of that 6 grams of fat or less menu.

Bad side, though, is that Subway subs contain A LOT of sodium.

Dumb question, but what is bad about sodium?
