Weight loss exercise is all about reaching your target heart rate and staying there for at least 30 minutes.
Do this calculation: (230 - your age) * 0.7 Divide that by 6 During any exercise you do, check your pulse for 10 seconds; if the pulse is greater than that number, you can let up a little if you are exhausted. If it is LESS than that number, increase activity level.
As for "the best" exercise, it is anything that you can keep doing. Seriously, try anything and even do a little bit of everything to keep yourself interested.
