LOVE HANDLE THRED GUISE

i'm a 20 year old male (lol typical) who used to be fat, but has since then lost a bit of weight and now could be considered *average*. however i have one problem. that problem is LOVE HANDLES. they are still so big from when i was fat and they always hang over the top of my pants and make me look really fat from a diagonal view of me (if that makes sense).

i've read a lot about shrinking them and how aerobic workout and general fat burning exercises are the *only* way to get rid of them, so i have been running 2-3 times a week and doing more physical activity in general.

MY QUESTION IS: what can one do to make their love handles NOT handles and firm them up as quickly as possible BESIDES aerobic exercise? i'm not even sure that there IS anything specifically you can do (i've heard like, side crunches before. i don't know) but i'm not very knowledgable on how to maximize body performance.

tl;dr best way to get rid of love handles, tips, etc.
