So I'm a 20 year old male and I've been smoking pot everyday since my 18th birthday. I was wondering what the chances of developing lung cancer are at such an early age or should i be fine to smoke for another year or so and then quit. I get winded from running up a single flight of stairs and can feel a slight rasping when i inhale deeply. I dont smoke cigs either but I worry that pot may be just as bad because i smoke so often (3-4 times a day every single day)

Is there a good chance i could get lung cancer at an early age?

I highly, highly, highly doubt it. Pretty sure all it does is cool it down, making it easier to inhale. Still just as bad on your lungs.

dude, do some research. weed has chemicals in it that help avert cancer.

No, no, and shut up.

Smoking pot erodes the lining of your lungs just like cig smoke can. Because of this, your chance for infection is greater. Weed smoke isn't packed with carcinogens, but it will still increase the chance of getting lung cancer.
