Hey /fit/,
I'm 5'7", 135-140lbs and about 17% body fat.
I have a bit of a stomach, love handles, and flabby thighs. I want to lose 10-15lbs, tighten up my abs, and get rid of my love handles. I started regular cardio exercise about 4 weeks ago. I was thinking of trying what

is doing. Any other suggestions or better plans?

run.

Also, by cardio, I meant Ultimate, so sprinting and a fair amount of running, but not long distance.

running will not make you lose that much weight. eat less food.

run.
no soft drinks (i.e. anything with high fructose)
keep carbs to a mininmum. stay away from 'enriched ' foods, flour and grains mostly.
NO hydrogenated oils.
you could try enzyme supplements with meals.
And run.

I would, but now that thread is deleted. He essentially did core exercises, at a bagel sandwhich (or the like) for breakfast, an orange around 10 A.M., an apple for lunch, a banana around 3 P.M., and what he called a normal dinner. He said he lost 40 pounds doing this.

Eating less isn't the answer, you need to eat properly.

Any recommendations for some CHEAP healthy food? Maybe just stuff that isn't too bad? I mostly live off of instant noodles.

It is the answer. You can eat less while still eating properly, you know. I've been doing that and I've roughly lost 17 pounds already, more or less.

Like the others said, just run. Run everyday or every other day. Frankly, I try running everyday, but when a leg of mine is sore I stop for a day (warning that the leg or legs are getting exhausted) and then run again the next day.

Scary, though, because once you get used to it, you never want to stop. The endorphins give you a natural high, and being faster and more efficient made me even more interested.

I once ran 2km in 17 minutes. Now it's down to 10, and I think I'm reaching a plateau. But otherwise, trying to top yourself is fun. Weight is just lost naturally as long as you eat less (but still properly). I don't eat much, but I've only gone into starvation mode once, and that was because I fell asleep. :c

I said it was scary because I wasn't fat in the first place, just really sedentary, and my metabolism more than allows me to eat any shitty food and still remain relatively thin.

I'm really slim right now, though. And running is very fun, also. 5'8" at 132lbs, 11% body fat.
