I have a very high sodium diet. I eat mushrooms a lot (usually fried, or straight from the package), and I usually put copious amounts of salt on my food (not only that, but I usually eat salty foods). Is this dangerous or beneficial to losing weight?

I was also wondering if it's detrimental to my workout if I work abs daily (no break day), usually 300-400 crunches a night.

ignoring your spinal erectors and just doing crunches is going to give you an anteroir pelvic tilt and you will have back problems. not to mention, your core is like a transmission, the hips are the engine

just doing ab work all the time is like having a 12,000$ formula 1 transmission in a used geo metro.

Start not eating less and less and you wont need it after a while. A lot of salt isn't good for you. Raises your blood pressure.

I don't understand your analogy, but the first part I'll take into consideration.
