My uncle once told me pushing weights up (starting position being weights in each arm, with arms being in a position as if you're flexing your biceps and then lifting up) is better than normal reps for your biceps

He said it works out more than one muscle

of course its a load of bull, but I'm no fitness expert, so is it true? The working of other muscles, I mean, not the "its better for biceps).
