Yeah man, vegan is too unhealthy. Very difficult to get all your nutrients on a vegan diet.

take multivitamin's even if you just go vegetarian.

as much as i strongly disagree with veganism, and since we cant exactly stop you we might as well help... my main concern would be getting enuf protein, eat plenty of legumes such as chickpeas, lentils etc. i would also suggest soy products, unless your a man, soy has oestrogen in it (female hormone)

I am a vegetarian. I never worry about protein. I end up getting more than enough without ever thinking about. But as a vegan, you are going to have to monitor your protein intake. Here's what you need to worry about vitamin-wise:

Your B vitamins, especially B12 - take a B complex vitamin. They are stinky and taste bad, but you especially need to worry about this if you are vegan. Vegetarians can at least get b12 from dairy.

Omega 3s - take a supplement of flax seed oil, flax seeds, eat products with added omega 3.

There may be more, but those are the big ones.

Being a vegan is alot of hard, unneccesary work. I had a classmate that went vegan for some political reason or other but had to stop after two months because her doctor told her to stop.

She lost alot of weight, and she was already plenty skinny

If it's dead, you might as well eat it.

OP, why do you want to lower your place in the food chain?
>> cunt !iiA80eLVpY
props op i would like to be vegan but don't have the balls.

You're generally ok as long as you get your iron. If you're like a bodybuilder then you'll need to monitor your protein intake too, but assuming you each legumes and shit, you should be good.

Vitamins are good too.

Er, don't wear wool(and variations), leather and shit i guess.

being 'manly' isn't everyone's priority.

i love how fit regulars all think they're so fucking manly because they work out and grow beards occasionally - you spend 5 hours per week fagging up in the gym, most of you are fairly unhealthy and you go on the internet to discuss sexy physiques you saw in this month's Men's Health.

Who the hell said anything about manly? I said that by eating only fauna, he becomes a herbivore, which are of lower place in the food chain.

Looks like someone gave you a wedgie lately.

>I said that by eating only fauna, he becomes a herbivore, which are of lower place in the food chain.

and, what's the problem with that? i can't see any problem outside the average vegan scepticists that either think they're too manly for it or don't have the balls to go through with it themselves so insult those that do.

Yeah. All of those predators that hunt humans will have an easier time chasing him. Wait, what the fuck are you talking about you science cuntwaffle wannabe? Jesus shitting christ.

that's exactly what I was thinking. Lower in the food chain? ok, I'll remember that next time we are hunting each other for food. Oh wait, we do all of our foraging in supermarkets now.

Vegan is tough as hell, but not impossible.
>good stuff to eat
Peanut butter sandwich on healthy bread should be a regular event, along with mixed nuts. That gives a nice chunk of protein right there. Wal-Mart (I know, I hate it too) sells these General Value granola bars that are fortified with B12, which is the only thing vegans are in any actual danger of missing, despite all the phony nutritionists/meat propagandists. If you don't like Wal-Mart, you might have to settle for Chocolate Soy Milk & Cereal, both of which have B12 (and a variety of other good stuff). Most Americans eat TOO MUCH protein according to nutrionists, so don't fret too much about the "OMG PROTEIN!!!!" crowd, but do make sure you're keeping things in balance. Oh, also, Penne pasta is another good one. Omega-3, protein, great carbs, etc.

>stuff not to wear
Uh, buy pleather instead of leather. Everything else is pretty obvious.

I'm just vegetarian now, but I lost 80 pounds of pure fat on a vegan diet, and have no regrets.

How do you know you lost pure fat?
>> Anonymous
>>414806
I guess I can't prove it in a lab or anything, but I'm more muscular and powerful now than I was then, so it seemed like the clear conclusion to draw.
>> CWheezy !!bJFrM5LONOF

Ok, so your muscles show off more, because you have a loewr body fat percentage.

I can almost guarantee you were stronger when you were fatter though, unless you had like 0 muscle to begin with
>> Anonymous
>>414814
I'm not sure how you could almost guarantee me something about my body without ever having met me, but I can lift more weight now, I don't get tired as easily, etc. I'm not completely sure what point you are trying to make here. Or are you just asking out of curiosity?
>> Anonymous
>>414814

thats not completely true. If a guy is a bit more tone than he was in the past, he can still be just as strong, it all matters what kind of food you put into your body. If he was eating junk food, then maybe he was a weaker fat guy, but if he was eating quality food with protein in it, who says he can't be ripped and strong?

you will never been as fit, strong, or muscular as somebody who eats meat. enjoy

You can't lose pure fat.

You have better leverages when you're fat.
