rinse/repeat until failure or fifteen minutes.

I'm not a runner, and I'm still getting the hang of jumping rope, which is damned convenient and will be great for me once I can get down the coordination to jump ad infinitum.

Until then is this a good HIIT routine?

Shadow boxing is gay. Unless you have been a boxer or are a boxer, don't do shadow boxing. Even if you have been a boxer and aren't boxing anymore. Don't shadow box. You'll look stupid. Plus, you won't get as good as a workout as jumping rope or even just jumping jacks.

They look stupid and are pointless to do. You should keep jumping rope and get better at it. If you're using shadow boxing as your rest time, just jump back and forth slowly instead. If you're doing HIIT for it, do jumping jacks. Get better at jumping rope though so you can do that instead.
