The benefits of eating only the egg white Anonymous
What are they?

I just ate the white of a boiled egg and I have the yolk sitting here. Trying to decide if I should eat it or not.

If yes, what should I put on it to make it taste better? I hate yolks.
>> Anonymous
suggested maybe tabasco sauce. I know it tastes good with fried eggs
>> Anonymous
Is the yolk not where most of the fat is?
>> Anonymous
Tobasco sauce makes egg yokes/whites taste better.
>> Anonymous
isn't it supposed to be yellow ?

>>134541
it's bad for cholesterol
>> Anonymous
>>134541
yeah but its the good kind. like, shit for your heart and brain and shit. cause some cholesterol is good for your body.. i dunno
>> Anonymous
>>134545
wrong. Due to certain enzymes in the yolk, absorption of the cholesterol is prevented.

It's more yellowy irl. Webcam turns everything bluey-grey.

So the cholesterol and fat of the egg is all in the yolk? No wonder people only eat egg whites :O

I always thought the yolk was the actual tasty part. If you don't even like the taste, then toss it. I, of course, never could, since I love yolk.
>> Anonymous

the real reason is that the yolk tastes like balls.

Nope, it's a boiled egg yolk. When you boil eggs, the surface of the yolk becomes that color.

JESUS FUCKING CHRIST TABASCO IS HORRIBLE.

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT, WHY DO PEOPLE EAT IT?
>> Anonymous
Yolk is great. Fat is great. You're all fucking living in the 90's. Fucking eat it.

They don't know any better, or they really like vinegar.

Yolks are high in fat and cholesterol, but as long as you're not eating more than ~2 a day you should be fine. A lot of people eat whole eggs for weight gain because they are relatively high calorie for their small size.

tabasco fucking rocks dickhead

I love Egg Beaters with Yolk. 40 calories per 1/4 cup (1/4 cup = one egg), and shit tastes exactly better in my opinion. Easier to make omelette's, as well.

You're a fucking moron. You don't know shit. Eat all the mother fucking yolks you want, you'll be fine.

you don't know what it means. in fact, you don't know shit. i could lecture you about hdl and ldl cholesterol. i could talk to you about fat in your diet and how it doesnt't do what it is thought to do by idiots like you, but i won't. because i am fucking sick of doing so to a million fucking idiots a million fucking times.

op, eat your damned yolks, they are really good for you.

Same butthurt fat guy.

FACTS: Your body produces enough cholesterol on its own.

Diets high in cholesterol and fat are linked to an increased risk of heart disease.

If you're so well versed in the differences between high density and low density lipoprotien, why don't you know this already?

Also, in after capslock.

Egg yolks taste good.

Only health freak cunts refuse to eat egg yolk. These are the same kind of people who refuse to eat prime ribeye steaks because they have 'too much fat'.

I.E. faggots. OP, eat your fucking egg yolks before I slap you with my gigantic steak-enhanced penis.

>Some epidemiological studies showed no upper limits of benefit from serum cholesterol levels; in other words, the higher is the cholesterol level, the better. These observations are understandable in Japanese population, where mortality from coronary heart disease (CHD) is rather low compared with Western countries.
