Buy your OATZ in bulk. I get mine for 75 cents a pound at Whole Foods - this is cheaper than the generic brand at normal supermarkets and they're organic (not that organic is a deal breaker for me, but if I can get is for less, why not?).
I eat mine in skim milk with flax seeds and a bit of vanilla protein powder for flavor. Also consider using ginger, a sugarless preserve, or just about any dried fruit.
