I don't come here much (ever) but we all know about asking /b/ for advice; so I come to your arena and hope this finds you well and doesn't piss you off.

I've been sick the last few days. I did the usual Vitimin C and Echinacea.. but I was also handed these combination lozenges which had the two above.. and Zinc. This was my first experience using Zinc. Now, I'm 20 years old and by no means do I usually have problems getting an erection, but holy fuck it seems like for half an hour after I take these things I have wood.

I could be watching a Disney movie in a pastel covered room with light piano elevator music playing in the background and I'd still have an erection. Is this common?

tl;dr Zinc gets me hard apparently.

Seriously, though. A 30-second google search of "zinc" and "sex" or "erection" indicates it has something to do with sexual function, but I couldn't tell you what.
