I started Citaprolam a week ago for chronic pain and depression and feel like shit. So sleepy all the time and weak. Also shakey and a little bit dizzy/fuzzy.

Anything I can do to counter it?

A study in the New England Journal of Medicine on a possible publication bias regarding the efficacy of SSRI medications in the treatment of depression suggests that their effectiveness and risk-benefit ratios may be greatly exaggerated. Of 74 studies registered with the United States FDA, 37 with positive results were published in academic journals, while 22 studies with negative results were not published and 11 with negative results were published in a way that conveyed a positive outcome (one positive study was not published and three negative studies were published with results that were portrayed as negative). Overall, 94% of studies actually published were positive outcomes; when published and unpublished studies were included for analysis, the percentage of positive outcomes was 51%.

One of the BEST things to combat depression is "Cognative Therapy"!!!

I urge you to 'lurk moar' about this.

I can recommend a book to read that may eliminate any shrink fees. This book is "Feeling Good: The New Mood Therapy by David D. Burns, M.D."

Meds are BS and Cognative therapy is just as (and in more cases more) effective as med bs.

Well I was previously on Nortiptyline and it helped immensely for the chronic pain. Painkillers helped little in comparison. Otherwise I would probably agree with you on the depression front. I had to come off the Nortriptyline however as it was fucking my heartrate up. The Citaprolam was advised as a replacement for the chronic pain and the depression as an afterthought.
