1) Find your basal metabolic rate (Google it) This is how much you need to eat in a day to maintain you weight. 2) Eat 500 calories LESS than your BMR every day. Eat smaller meals and have snacks between meals. This boosts your metabolism. 3) Cut back on your saturated fats, trans fats, and sugars. Increase your whole grains and vegetables. 4) Run 3-4 times a week. Start with 20 mins. the first week and add 5 minutes every week. Be wary about your knees, at your weight you might cause damage. 5) Live a more active lifestyle. Walk to places you can walk to. Take the stairs. Do yardwork. MOVE.
Your goal is 1-2 lbs. per week. If you lose weight faster than that you're only hurting yourself.
