How much does a weightlifter diet costs, monthly or annualy? I'm considering a 36k$ job but dunno if i'll have enough to continue my hobby.

Membership ~60 monthly
Protein at 2 servings a day ~40 monthly
Vitamins ~30 monthly
Pre workout shake - ~50 monthly
Creatine ~50 monthly

Other food costs - No idea. Too much variation

Those other costs are based on the basic needs and what I myself have taken. So that's like under 3k a year just for supplements.

How much money do you save not getting wasted at the bar on the weekends? Put that in the calculations.

$2 per lb of boneless chick is your protein

much cheaper than protein powder I think...

It's probably around the same cost of smoking if you want fast progress.
>> SQUATS
You might be able to save some money if you buy the equipment and work out at home.

i have added 60lb to my bench press, 160lb to my deadlift and 140lb to my squat all since may '08 on a diet that costs me about $15/day if i do it right. 3 meals of whey shakes with 1/10g per lb of body weight in carbs, 2 regular meals (50g protein, 1/10g/lb body wt in carbs per meal) spaced out over 3-3.5 hour intervals. i have also lost over 30lb.

Vietnam was an essential fight against Communism, you hippy.

monthly i spend probably 300-400 dollars (rough estimate)

most expensive items would be
100% pure whey protein
carlson's fish oil
animal pak multivitamin
and the fact that I buy all my meat from http://www.grasslandbeef.com

i bet if you bought cheap shit it would cost you 250ish
