I'm massively fat (like 20st) and need to get sexy by August. Fitness is ok, but i have to look trimmer and slimmer. How can I do this in a way that won't completely destroy me?

What sort of exercises should I be looking at doing daily/weekly?

Also, I'm going to trim back my diet. I'm a guy. What sorta calorie intake am I looking at?

Diet and exercise, fatty. August is like 22 weeks away. At your weight you could probably lose some quick pounds then average 3lbs a week afterwards.

In 22 weeks you could lose between 40 and 75lbs. That is like 3-6 stones, if I remember my units.

Start restricting your calories down to like 2600 a day and exercising on the treadmill and elliptical 45 minutes a day, 3-5 times a week.

Start using weights, 3x10 reps with a weight that makes 10 reps difficult. Ease into it, dont overburden yourself and most fucking importantly DO NOT GIVE UP. DO NOT STOP GOING TO THE GYM. DO NOT START EATING LIKE SHIT.

If you do any of those, get the fuck back on the plan immediately. 22weeks is 154 days. If you can have 125 good, healthy days with the 30 or so 'mistake' days spread out in them, you will achieve your goals.

At your weight you're eating like 4800 calories. You could easily cut down to 3500. You'd probably be safe to go down to like 3200 for now, cut more later.

Exercise is a more reliable way of losing weight than following a diet. Eat your usual set meals, and make them good. Every one will count from now till your target time. Plenty of greens. Lean meats. Carbs are a different issue.

The trick is to gradually lower carbs as you lose weight through exercise. Otherwise, your losses will be little more than fluid levels fluctuating.

What I'm saying is, go jogging. Don't just cut out some types of food and think your day is done. As for starting exercises, think simple. Do you have access to a gym?

Assume that you need 10 calories for every pound you have to stay the same size. Starting eating the amount of calories that someone much smaller than you would eat and you'll lose weight in no time.

At 280 pounds... fuck, uhm eat 2000 calories a day until you're down to like 220 pounds, then eat like 1800 calories a day, and so forth. Work back the amount of calories while having a good work out routine and you'll lose a lot of weight.
