Fiber Anonymous
hey /fit/ lemme ask you something. Is there a way I can get all my daily fiber, without any carbs? I'm sitting here eating some All-Bran cereal and its only got like 17% carbs per serving, but I'd rather it have none. 17% carbs for 40% DRV fiber

Why do you hate carbs?

I'm not even joking. My body will turn it all to fat. I don't have any way to prove it to you, but if i eat one medium pizza or something all of it turns to fat.

Yes, this man is trying to convince us that the law of conservation of energy is wrong.

I've actually got this book. I thought a cheat meal would be ok but I guess its not. so no simple carbs then ever again.

and another thing, muscle weighs more than fat, so even if my body was eating its muscle it should still look like i lost weight according to the scale. but it doesn't.

also im 6 foot 2 and 175-180 so i dont think thats considered fat at all.

cheat meal != cheat gorging.

cheat meals should always be counted into your caloric intake, and shouldn't be more than 2 a week.

>not have it burn off
Jesus Christ. How do you know it's fat? How? It's frickin' water from all the salt and increased glycogen stores.

thats what im saying one meal was eaten that day, granted it was a very heavy meal caloric wise, but still only one meal.
>> Anonymous

but by making the one meal of the day, you effectively replaced 3+ meals with pizza, thus making it a cheat gorge day, and not a cheat meal.

i see your point, but i thought it was the calorie count that mattered

all calories are not created equal :)

really? so a measured 25 calories of pizza to 25 calories worth of chicken won't burn the same amount of time? i thought that was the entire fucking point of creating a way to measure the energy within food. if calories aren't 1 to 1 then the entire system is a joke. im pretty sure calories are created equal, because when they test a food substance to see how long it burns to aquire how many calories something has, they dont say ok this burned 10 mins this burned 15 mins, lets give them both a rating of 30 calories, they would give one 30, and one 50 because calorie is a unit of measure thats like saying ALL INCHES ARE NOT CREATED EQUAL LOLOLOLFUCK YOU PISS ME OFF

Don’t choose empty calories & “junk foods”

All calories are not created equal. If a calorie were just a calorie, then any two
diets at the same calorie level would have the same effects on your body composition
regardless of their macronutrient profile. If a calorie was just a calorie, then a 2400-
calorie diet of 100% sugar would have the same effect as a 2400-calorie diet of 100%
lean protein - but it doesn't! “Junk foods” have little or no nutritional value and they
don’t boost your metabolism. That’s why they’re also called “empty calories.” You
simply cannot eat “junk foods” on a regular daily basis and expect to get good results.

yes but protein and fiber require an energy response from your body to process simple carbs do not....
>> Anonymous

wow you really are an idiot. of course all calories are an equal amount, like inches. but a calorie from PROTEIN is not the same as a calorie from SATURATED FAT. its like an inch of brick compared to your one inch dick. same inch, but two different things. you fucking dumbass.

a calorie is just a measure of energy. there are calories in a pencil. that doesnt mean eating a pencil will give you energy.

1. Go to health food store
2. Go to those bins with all the obscure grains and shit
3. Get bran, should be VERY light, VERY cheap, and be paper-thin flecks of what looks like brown paper. I say all that cause I think it's called different things in different stores. It's basically the stuff they throw away when they make bread, cause you can't make flour out of something that dry
4. Eat a spoonful, washed down with water, before every meal.
5. ???
6. COLON CLEANSING!
