well, just something on your last point, a six pack isn't always dependant on diet, it's alos bodyfat.
The guy I'm lifting with is about 6'5, 250 (And is trying to get to 265, but he can't gain any more weight. Ha!), and you can still see he has a 6-pack, but there is just a bunch of fat over it.
Also, circuit training is a bunch of crap, don't do it. Think of lifting weights as trying to get stronger, and not losing weight. Circuit training is doing low effort a bunch of times, to simulate cardio, and it jsut sucks, don't do it.
