Howdy /fit/Been searching about and I'm wondering what's a good pre-workout stretch routine or warm up routine. Been getting too many pulled muscles. I must be failing bad.
stretching pre-workout causes injury and decreased lifting capacityjust hop on the treadmill for a minute or two to warm up, if anything
the best stretch is always to do the movement you are trainingif im working my way up to squat 200X5, ill do 45X5, 120X4, 170X3 and then finally the 200s.
The greater the weight, the more intermediate "warm-ups" you should do.I call it "looking for exploitable weaknesses", and "grooving the nerves/MRUs".
