Alright, every post in this thread is clearly trolling, but let's get one thing straight:
Whey protein does NOT fuck up your liver. However, whey is full of branched-chain amino acids (the main reason for taking it is to get these), which are metabolized via your liver, and consuming too much (I.E. >4g per pound of body weight) will overload your liver temporarily. Consume ANYTHING in that kind of excess and you're going to damage to something. There have been absolutely NO studies that link non-excessive consumption of whey protein with any kind of liver damage. In fact, there was one study where they gave a bunch of Hep B patients 25g of whey per day and they showed IMPROVED liver function.
