holy fuck /fit/, my mussels ache from working out yesterday

wat do you guys do to help cope with this? i know mussel pain is a good sign but goddamn they hurt

After I slack off of squats for a month and do them again I can barely stand up straight the next day.

And theres not much you can do for the pain unless you have narcotic painkillers, advil doesn't really work anyways. Just deal with it for 2 days or so.

oyu probably didnt have a warm up or cool down.

warm up by stretching for 5 minutes(look up PNF STRETCHES), then take a 10-30 minute job to get rate up, that'll help your body be ready for a workout and not make it work so hard all of a sudden.

once you are done wtih the main workout repeat the warm up process except run first then stretch, and refill in fluids too. this relaxes the body and gets it back to normal state. from their your body feels like you haven;t really worked out. it's a good thing cuz it lowers the damage your body feels later on

dont take any OTC pain relievers such as advil, they stunt the growth of mussesls. Just drink alot of fluids, water, etc, eat some calcium and stretch periodicly threwout the day, that should help asap. also pee alot.
