Hey /fit/

in 2004 I was 15 and weighed around 260lbs. I started wrestling and by the end of the season in the beginning of 2005 I was around 230lbs. Throughout the years I worked out off and on, so I always had muscular arms and a muscular chest which made my man boobs hang low. Now in 2008 im 19 and I checked my weight in July, I was 354lbs. I didn't feel 354lbs because I had muscle mass to me, but still alot of fat and flab. At the begining of August I started a routine which consisted of a 20 minute exercise which consisted of treadmill, sit ups, pushups, jumping jax and 5lb dung bell reps during all of this I wear a golds gym sweat jacket thats similar to those that the UFC fighters use to drop weight, with a sweat jacket over it. And I only eat one large meal in the entire day. 2 weeks into the routine I felt very tired at the begining of the exercise and I was told to only exercise every other day. So I ask you /fit/ am I doing this correctly? Will I drop alot weight if I continue? And if I were the sweat suit (UFC trashbag style one) during my exercise will it speed up the process?

Pic related, I look like a tiny bit thinner in size

Workout every other day, and eat 6 - 8 smaller meals during the day, rather than 1 large one.
The reason why your feeling tired all the time is because you dont have ay energy from not eating anything.

What I do is, right after I'm done eating I start my routine. And does the trash bag like sweat suit help speed up the process?

The 6-8 meals a day is good advice. As for the exercise I'm not to sure.

The only thing this speeds up your chance of fucking heart failure. Those UFC people do it to drop water weight over night before a weigh-in. IT IS NOT HEALTHY OR INTELLIGENT TO DO THIS IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER.

Sweating more does not mean you are burning fat. Sweating means you are overheating your body. If you trap the sweat in a giant suit, it's only going to overheat your body even more. Do you want heatstroke or severe dehydration? Please don't even attempt this and don't take your fitness tips from psychotic UFC idiots who take huge risks just to make weight.

I actually learned this technique from my wrestling coach, but thank you I will not use it anymore.

Heh, then your wrestling coach is an idiot.

Think of it this way. Running with a "trash bag suit" on is like driving a car with no coolant or air intake on the engine. You're just overheating it. What happens to a car when the engine is overheating? The engine block will eventually crack. You don't want the human equivalent of a cracked engine block...it's called death.

Wrestling coaches are good at what they're supposed to do, which is teach you wrestling. I've had three different wrestling coaches, and all of them were great to varying degrees at teaching technique, but none of them new shit about the proper way to train, although they think they do.

All of their knowledge is going to be fucking outdated as hell and sound like it's from a Rocky movie. Any time a wrestling coach tells you to do stuff, you put up with it during practice, but on your own time, use your brain.
