Hey /fit/

I'm 20 years old, 6ft, 203 lbs. I've got the idea of getting healthy in mind but have a lot of trouble properly applying it.

I've got no job or school atm(Wooo, 4chan), run about a mile a day now and have a few basic, but normally half-assed workouts(Curls, Rows, Crunches, SQUATZ, Deadlifts, etc).. The problem is I can't manage to EAT.

I think my calorie intake a day has been averaging 800 or so a day but sometimes that's just a fast food burger and nothing else for the day..

So I need a diet.. Easy to make or ready made foods, CHEAP foods.. I honestly don't care what I eat, it's a chore.. I only drink water, but am open to drink (Shake?) suggestions too.

Do you want to gain weight or loose weight?

You should eat eggs and oatmeal in the morning, drink a whey protein shake for lunch and have different things for dinner such as whole grain pasta or some chicken. Eating healthy is a hell of a lot better than eating hardly anything, no matter what you want to do.

800 sounds too low but you should be including general activity as well as your routines and workouts. the dietary advice in the post above is good.

Lose, my goal weight is around 160-180 with muscle and pretty much just to look good, I don't have very much muscle mass and the running is still a strain on me(Likely because I run on only water).

Breakfast is the meal I have most trouble with.. So like, two eggs and a packet of oatmeal would be a full breakfast?

Two eggs is great, don't use butter in the pan, just PAM or the bare teflon. Hard boiled is good too, you can boil a dozen and that will last you almost all week. And a packet of oatmeal with skim milk instead of water, but the plain kind, not the added sugar kind. Fruit and yogurt is a good idea too, a cup of vanilla yogurt with cut peaches or berries, and some granola on top if you like it.

I'm a Nutritionist, and so far, these posts are giving sound advice.

If you're looking for cheap, easy, and fairly tasteful foods to help you gain a better calorie, fat, protein and carbohydrate intake, seriously, just these things.

Skim Milk, Oatmeal, Whole Wheat Bread, Peanut Butter, Bananas.

A few PBnB sandwiches and some bowls of oatmeal in milk every day will help you tremendously.

If you run a mile a day, have a packet of these before or during the run:

electrolytes, you can use them

Make a shake with protein powder, milk, olive oil, and flax seeds/oil. I have the same problem as you, and that's what I've been doing to get by.

good advice is good. i'd also think about cottage cheese too (low fat). good proteins in it that burn at a slower rate.
