Something NOT related to weight loss:I did a 210km (130 mi for you Americunts) bike ride. Mid-way I felt a sharp pain in my leg from the knee down, nurse at a rest station insisted it's stiffness and I kept riding. Upon finishing I was in way too much pain to even walk, so I limped to the medical tent to be seen by a real doctor. His initial guess was a worn out cartilage in my knee. To confirm this I went for an ultrasound and x-ray. Technician told me (even though she technically should not) that the ultrasound showed nothing wrong with the knee and I am awaiting results on the x-ray.If this is a worn cartilage what can I do to help with the recovery aside from rest?
Google it.
Google turned up RICE. Already did that.
You can try to supplement with glucosamine/ chondroitin.Besides that, nothing but rest, light training maybe and in worst case injections or surgery.Fuck your knee and you're fucked.
See a physio then.
