Keeping my metabolism up Anonymous
Hey /fit/,

It's somewhat common knowledge that when you're trying to lose weight, you should spread your meals throughout the day so you're eating 5-6 times. I've been trying my best to do this. However, my meals in between my light lunch/breakfast/dinner consist mainly of fruit. Fruit doesn't have many calories in it, so does it work as well in keeping your metabolism up as foods that are slightly higher in calories? Unless I'm wrong and calories aren't even what raise your metabolism (which I think they are).

If you eat too little, your body will try to conserve energy and you will be tired. If you eat too much, your body will just want to go take a nap and digest everything.
