So /fit/, I'm sick of being a fatty.

For the past month or so I've been following the routine of snacking (with vegetables or fruit) every two hours, with lunch, dinner, and breakfast thrown in there for good measure.

Every morning I jog about a half mile, and walk about 1 (size of a lap around the local lake) and in the evenings, I go to a martial arts class for about 3 hours, 4 days a week.
at the end of the day my shins hurt like fuck, but it's getting better.

Soda is gone, candy is non-existent, and all though it makes me drool like a fucking saint bernard when I walk by them, no junk food chips. If anything, I get triscuits every now and again.

Tl;dr, I'm 22, 280 pounds, 5'9'', and I'm already 15 pounds lighter.

I want to make it a goal to do something involving exercise for at least an hour a day. Is there anything I've missed? I've been wanting to try HIIT for my morning jog, but my shins hurt so damn much from just the jogging, I'm not sure if it'll cause more damage or not.
Also, what should I do on the 3 days I don't have class?

Pic Half-Related. Goddamn I'm hungry.

HIIT will rape you. Too heavy and not in good enough shape.

At your weight you really shouldn't be running. Shit's hell on your joints. Try biking or cycling. And don't even think about doing HIIT for a while. It's an ADVANCED workout for people who are already in good shape.

Well fuck me, that's why my shins hurt I guess..

I love to bike, but my ass always hurts like hell after.

Of course, I love to swim too. If I go the swimming route, should I go with short, high intensity swims, or just swim for long distances?
