MYTH: Staring at a television/computer monitor gradually destroys your eyesight

FACT: This only applies to old tube televisions/monitors. You may stare at flatscreen anything for as long as you like, but it will still hurt when you leave the room into brighter light.

fact: Most of /fit/ are fat bloated nerds who will never improve, too lazy and unmotivated to leave their chairs and lose even a single one of their hundreds of pounds, causing themselves to spiral downward into a self perpetuating circle of self loathing, depression, weight gain, and destruction of self esteem.

And y'know what? They deserve it.

Actually looking at an object at the same distance (computer screens, television, reading books, etc.) for too long can make your eyesight worse.
It helps if you take a lil walk and look at things that are close and far away, to make your eyes adjust to a different distance.
Or just turn your head and do the same.
