hey /fit/. when i open my jaw beyond a certain point the right side of it at the point marked at the picture hurts. it's been like this for 2 weeks. if i put my fingers on the left side and right at the same time while opening my jaw, the left side feels smooth but at the right it feels a bit like the bone goes out of place and then back to place when i close it down. what is it? what should i do?

nope. it's super jaw cancer. shit goes undetected until your jaw falls off and you die.

jesus christ just help me, this shit forces me to eat with tiny bites
>> Anonymous
>>158471
once your jaw falls off, you wont have to worry about eating.

>>158473
It doesn't fall off. Jesus christ, it's cancer, not gangrene. Trolls these days.

lol, OP shat himself.

It's the beginning of Polio

Actually my father had the same symptoms a year ago before he passed. Turned out to be a tumor. By the time he started to feel the pain in his jaw, it was already too late.
>> Anonymous
I'm sorry, but you have microancilliarangiofibulariomyosis. The only way to fix it is to recreate the scene in Cast Away and knock your back teeth out with an ice skate, then your chomper should work like a charm.

are you saying i have less than a year left to live?
>> Anonymous
>>158507
i am going to try and hit the right side of my jaw a few times with my fist maybe it somehow dislocated and i can put it back in place
>> Anonymous
>>158515
Let us know how it went
>> Anonymous
>>158515
You can't punch the tumor out of your jaw. That's crazy talk.

If he punches it enough it might dissolve and solve the problem

op here will someone answer me seriously please?
>> Anonymous
>>158592
Yes, I will. We will get through this together. First I need t know if you have any powertools. Specifically, a drill. We're going to fix you right up.

Planning on bolting it down?

Hey Dickbutts OP, I have the same condition as you, went to see a doctor about it. It's a tendon popping in and out of place when you open and close your jaw, often accompanied by a clicking sound, there isnt anything you can do about it but she advised me to stop excessive unneccesary cheewing, eg. biting nails and chewing gum and it would probably go away. You can get weird retainers to wear at night to stop you clamping your teeth down but I didnt get that. It's especially alright if you're still growing as it could be your jaw hasnt caught up with your skull yet.

>>158600
so it just went away on its own for you? how long did it take? thanks for the first serious answer
>> Anonymous
>>158616
well, at first the doctor thought it was the tendon and that it'd go away on it's own, but it turned out to be cancer.
>> Anonymous
>>158616
Ofcourse it goes away over time you idiot. That's what your body does over time when you don't hit it with blunt objects; heal itself.
>>
>>158616
Well it isnt gone completely yet but I can open my mouth all the way without any pain or discomfort, about a year but I suppose it varies a lot from person to person and how bad the condition is.

>>158621
you're just pretending to be the other guy. also, i don't think i have cancer.
>> Anonymous
>>158628
Well you're not a doctor, so what the hell do you know.

>>158626
a year? welp this is absolute bullshit
>>
>>158634
yes Dickbutts OP. it is absolute shit. maybe you can get surgery to correct it but in my case it wasn't neccesary. I suggest you use the internet doctor. google.

I fucking love this thread

>>158638
if it's not cancer i guess i can live with it, it's not that bad.
>> Anonymous
>>158647
pretending you don't have cancer isn't going to make it go away, OP. It's time to come to terms with your illness.
>> Anonymous
>>158651
it can't be cancer because i havent lost any hair
>> Anonymous
>>158657
chemotherapy (the cancer treatment) is what causes hairloss. not cancer itself.
