Judo vs. Aikido

I've heard they're similar, does anyone have experience in one or both of these martial arts?

They both suck in the real world, and that's really all that matters. If you try to do small joint control shit on someone, like wrist throws, who trains mma/grappling/boxing... expect a knee or uppercut to the face. Fag.

Screw both and take catch wrestling.

Learn some BJJ instead.

I did judo before I moved for college. Pretty good actually. I mean, it isn't like its hard to grab someone's shirt or anything to get them closer to toss them. Just expect them to grab you on the way down and always end up on top.

Aikido is "supposedly" one of the beast arts for unarmed and armed melee combat.

Judo is a sport, therefore it involves matches and competitions where you can put to the test what you've been learning. It is also a lote more brutal than Aikido which is a martial art, i.e. a lot of theory and little practice with no one but helpless partners.

But it's not.

Judo due to the fact that it doesn't pretend to have it's "uses" in combat although can most definitely give you a great advantage if taken to the ground. It is an Olympic sport. It's a great form of exercise and is a very popular sport outside of the US.

Unless that Kung Fu is Sanshou Kickboxing, no.

You should explore the concept of MMA, which is taking the best out of each martial art and using only the small bits that are effective

Can someone please show me a video of a judo student beating a boxer? Or a MMA trained person? Just like a youtube vid or something.
