I'm moving into uni halls next week, and was wondering if /fit/ could tell me some cheap high calorie and high protein foods for bulking, and possibly suggest some meals I can prepare that don't require much cooking skills.
Thank you in advance

Although they seem expensive, whey protein powders are an extremely cost-effective way of increasing your protein intake.

When I lived in the USA I used www.dpsnutrition.net. $65 + $5 shipping for 10lbs of 82% whey.

Now I'm back in the UK, I use www.myprotein.co.uk, check this shit out:

http://www.myprotein.co.uk/bulk-supplies/unflavoured-protein/impact-whey-protein-(unflavoured)-(refi
ll)/

10lbs 80% protein for £31.

Also, there's an online meal plan generator where you can enter shit like daily calories & protein & carbs and it'll create a meal plan for you (with recipes and shit) to match the amounts, http://www.epic-nom.com.

I don't know how the price situation is in whereever you are from, but you can probably pick up a lot of good vegetable protein sources for dirt cheap. Lentils tend to be especially cheap, and contain about 24 grams of protein per 100 grams of dry lentils. Soybeans are a bit more expensive, but have about 1.5 times more protein. Other beans are decent, too, as are different types of peas.
Soy protein pulver is half the price of whey here, as well.
Then there's milk, eggs, ground beef, chicken...
Grains can fill a percentage of your requirements as can seeds and nuts.
