Sup /fit/?

I'm 6' 0", 207 lbs. Mostly fat though I do have some muscle.

I'm fairly active, but only eat once or twice a day. After some lurking on here I found out that that is pretty bad for me.

Anyway, is there a way to speed up my metabolism so that I can lose the fat more effectively?

Somebody said something along the lines of 200 calorie meals, 6 times a day? Is this good advice/should I start doing this?

http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.htm

Also, the site above, given my info, says my ideal weight is 190 lbs. I was thinking about 170-180 should be my goal. Should I stick with what I came up with or listen to the website?

Pic related, my general shape is the third set from the top.

OP, here to help. Go to Bermuda (Yes, yes, I know...just play along with my story because it's not long and there is a lesson to be learned), drink a lot of water, then go out for a swim with a knife tied to your leg, because there are sharks in Bermuda. OK, start rubbing your crotch once you're out far enough that you can't see the bottom of the ocean floor and the island is a barely visible speck on the horizon. You will probably be very tired as well, because this is the most exercise you've done in your entire miserable existence, but start jacking off in the salt water because you're pumped and ready to become a new man. Once you're pretty amped, pull at your knife and draw a few claw marks on your hands like the ones Wolverine has. The sharks will be there shortly (if they are not already there). Don't panic, just take your knife, look at it like you will never see it again, then throw it as hard as you fucking can toward the horizon line. Swim back, and as the sharks viciously attempt to rend the flesh from your bone, take your fucked-up bloody stump hands and thwack them against your assailants while keeping your penis as erect as possible. There will be so much adrenaline in your blood stream you could probably rip a live sand shark in half and play a puppet show with the halves as you make your way back to the island. Hope this helps!

Judging by his weight at the end, I'd guess about 5'8"-5'10" (173-178 cm if you don't use the retarded Imperial/US system), maybe shorter.

What is the story behind the OPs pic?
What did he do. I look roughly like the guys first picture. By the end of months, i want to like like the final pic.

>>like like
oops. meant look like

these progress pics are misleading because i'm betting he had already bulked by the first picture and was cutting.. so there could be an equal amount of work before these were taken, or some, at least.
>> Anonymous
Thats a lot of cutting.... I dont know why someone would do all that just to bulk up....

Is cutting 72 pounds after bulking normal?

Seconding that. Look at his back and triceps.

I guess i should start cutting then. What is the best way to cut?

Sometimes fat guys just like lifting weights. He probably didn't 'bulk up' to that high, there is too much fat. He was probably just a fat guy who also had lots of muscle, like a football player.

I was in/am leaving the same boat. I was at like 255lbs, a lot of body fat, but also a lot of muscle. Now I'm down to 230 and as the fat goes, the muscle, long hidden, is looking pretty good. Still need to lose like another 25 or so.

some anon said there are models paid to get fat and get cut for advertising purposes. Look at me, all thanks to this ab-trainer I lost 50 pounds in 3 days.

Reduce your calories and do cardio and lift.

If you watch the documentary "Bigger, Stronger, Faster" which comes out on DVD sometime in September, they talk to one guy who admits to being a paid "transformation model."

Also, if you just buy fitness magazines, you see some of the same guys over and over again because they're on retainer. You can also see the muscle on them. Pecs always look muscular rather than fat and the bellies look hard and distended rather than doughy.

I already lift a little. I used to lift a lot about 2 years ago, then i picked up a little game called WoW....
I plan on biking to college this year. Its about 5.6 miles to get there. I do need to cut back on food. My dad buys the food and since he never gains any weight, he buys a lot of junk. Cans of ravioli do get old after awhile.

Yeah, and alot of guys do it by putting on alot of water weight and then dehydrating afterwards to give the appearance of even more fat loss.
