Greetings, /fit/.

My squatz has been going up pretty nicely so far, but I have run into a problem. I cannot seem to figure out a way to keep my wrists from bending back. When I try to keep them straight, the bar feels like it is going to roll off my back and I cannot keep it in place.

So basically, how to I keep my wrists straight while doing squatz? Thanks.

Put your thumbs over the bar.

I do.

You're unintentionally carrying a lot of the weight on your arms.

Find a better spot on your shoulders. Take the weight off.

Hang the weight from your dick.

I see, thanks. If I absolutely need to, I guess I have no choice but to reduce the weight as well.

Gently stretch your wrists daily until flexibility improves?

How do go about stretching my wrists exactly?

In return, more squatz booty.

Okay, good way to stretch your wrists is to do cleans and front squats. That way your wrists will adapt to the range of motion and increase your flexibility without doing any pointless stretching.
It's always a good idea to alter between normal squat and front squats, anyway. They beneficial to each other. For example, I do front squats on my dead-lift day to preserve my lower back.

Also, I've never had any problem with positioning the bar or having it rolling off. Try positioning the bar higher on your back.
Now, deliver more squatz booty please.

I'm assuming OP is doing low bar squats, in which case wrist flexibility has nothing to do with your problem. Keep your elbows up so that your can keep your wrists straight, and if you can't get your elbows up high enough, then widen your grip a bit and work it back inwards gradually.

Seriously, can you all just shut the fuck up if you don't know what you're talking about.

stretch your chest a little more. I'm not sure how fucking complicated this is.

Or start doing deadlifts.

Stretch your shoulders.
