I want to try that HIIT thing which was said to be more effective then slow pace jogging. How long should I run/jog and at what speed on my treadmill? I heard one guy said 10mph, 5 times around 30 secs each? Also, what's the best way to lose calories? Possible to do in a living room other then jogging?

Se it to 25mph then 40mph for sprinting on an incline of your choice, that outta do it.

You forgot to put the airplane on the treadmill.

Treadmills are shit.

Even ellipticals are better.

Jump rope if you don't have a place to run.

i do HIIT on the elliptical. i go 30 seconds hard (90% max speed) then 30 seconds medium (60% max speed) and do that for about 20 minutes. but im just a fat fuck trying to lose weight.

Elliptical is okay for fatties. And people with joint problems.

And people who don't want joint probems.

Anything wrong with elliptical for regular cardio? I heard it has better calories/hour than treadmill.

most exercise machines are notorious for miscounting calories. just get your ass moving and get really sweaty. personally, if i jog/run on a tread, im sweating more and burning more calories than going medium-high on the elliptical.

No. Only running outside/treadmill is better.

Elliptical can really go either way. I use it regularly because of knee problems, but use maximum resistance the whole time. If you're one of those mallrats who goes one or two on resistance and can read a fucking magazine while doing so, aintdoinetriet.

Fucking works.
