I'm considering taking some weight loss pills. Any recommendations?
Long story follows:
I've always been chubby. I weigh ~10 pounds less than when I was 12. I'm 28. the least I weighed in the past 8 years or so is ~165, but that was from not eating. My car had died, and it was an hour walk to food, and not even a store. So I went once per day, or sometimes skipped a day. So I lost a lot of weight, but it wasn't healthy. And I still had ab flab.
A few months ago, I started at a gym. I've gained about five pounds of muscle, I'd guess, since the flab difference measures about the same as before, and I'm about five pounds heavier.
inb4 slow progress: It's one of those shitty things I've inherited from my mother's side.
So what does /fit/ recommend? There's a lot out there, and everything says everything else is shit.
