Dark Circles under eyes Anonymous
It's true when they say that if you hate the way you look, you only have your genes to blame.

Because i'm middle eastern, i'm doomed to have racoon eyes for the rest of my life. I've noticed that the skin under my eyes is exceptionally thin and i can see the dark veins around them. What are some long-term ways i can make my dark-circles disappear?

I've heard of a cosmetic surgery involving fatty tissue being injected into the thin tissue under the eyes. Is that a relatively sane option?

the correct term is sand nigger, but seriously try make up, it helps a lot

As a short term option, as someone has already suggested, putting cold things against the patches should get blood rushing to them and making them more 'alive'. This supposedly also makes them less puffy if anyone else has that problem

What are you an idiot? Don't answer that, it was rhetorical.

You don't need surgery. Neutrogena has a bunch of anti-aging shit that heals under your eyes.

Pat onto your dark circles and blend in very gently, add more if needed. If you can afford it, get Dior Skinflash or Yves Saint Laurent's Touch Eclat instead though.
Sleep on your back so that fluid doesn't collect , refridgerate your eye cream too.
But seriously there's not much you can do short of makeup or surgery, dark circles are inherited. Sleep more and eat as many vegetables as possible.

I found that my dark circles have come from smoking way too much weed.

Not really very helpful, but I'm going to try some of the ideas posted.

I remember hearing there was some sort of vitamin that helped with bags under your eyes, and that Preparation H is supposed to contain the particular vitamin which makes it helpful when rubbing into those bags.

i need a photo of your circles before i can decide

I'm female and I must say that make up does not cover up dark circles, unless you use huge globs of concealer, and that just makes you look tacky. I think at this point and time surgery on such a delicate area could only be bad news. I've just learned to live with them. If you have poofiness along with it, sometimes aspirin in the morning can help. If you're over 20, taking aspirin every morning is recommended anyway.

Try praying to your god. Oh wait, HE DOESN'T EXIST! Praise Jesus, amen.
