Fitness Pill Anonymous
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/7535770.stm

Too long, not gonna read?: Fitness pill gets you fit without exercise, mice prove results.

In tests, mice were able to run 44% further - suggesting humans may be able to do the same without prior training.
>> faggot !kzxLmJyzX.
Although it will have benefits for those with diseases, if it is ever used outside prescriptions and sold on shelves (which sounds pretty likely) it will promote even more laziness.
>> Anonymous
If that happens, since everyone in whole world will probably end up taking them, it won't change a thing. Instead of us who work out just being stronger than the rest, we'll be EPIC.

Hopefully, i'd be disgusted if hard work gets completely beaten by a pill and exercise becomes redundant...
>> Anonymous
Lets wait a little while and see what the debilitating side effects are.

They announce one of these miracle pills once every couple of months.

for most people who work out regularly, working out isn't a means to an end. "fitness is a journey, not a destination" that pill, if it exists, will change nothing. only the bodybuilding community will "benefit". guys on it will make ronnie coleman look small, smooth and aesthetic in comparison. america will continue being the laziest, fattest country in the world.

Well, I guess they can't say that saying about magic pills not doing anything.

The chemical formula is C21H18F3NO3S2

>What's more, GW1516 has a relatively simple chemical structure and can be synthesized easily. Evans anticipates that athletes will seek their own sources of the drug - if they haven't already.

HOW THE FUCK DO WE MAKE THIS?

I guess I could try. The only thing in there that would be hard to come buy is the Fluorine.

>If you like exercise, you like the idea of getting more bang for your buck. If you don't like exercise, you love the idea of getting the benefits from a pill.

Basically the weak become strong and the strong become even stronger. We're one step closer to becoming a super-race of humans.
>> Anonymous
>>250948

Amen to that.

On top of this, we got exoskeletons coming for US soldiers. Genetically enhanced humans, on top of cybernetic enhancement. Fuck yea, joining the Army is going to be so fucking cool in a few years.

Fuck yeah for some reason you just got me REALLY FUCKING HYPED ABOUT LIFE FUCK YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH BUDDDDDDDDYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!

I really want to try this... I'm already considered pretty damn fit, but going on something like this would be so much overkill it would be awesome.

Except it will sterilize females, and when the inventor realizes this he'll be forced to activate the nuke beneath his cathedral.
>> Anonymous
One question, does it make the user break limits they wouldn't otherwise be able to surpass?

Like in the case of the mice, going 62% further, what if the other mice just trained longer? Would it eventually level out, just making the drug a quick-start to success?

There are always consequences. The human body is more complex then any of us can imagine. Even with the current progress and our knowledge of chemistry and biology.

44% isn't anything. Compare a marathon runner's endurance to a couch potato taking that pill and the marathon runner's going to win 100% of the time.

You do realize it's 44% doing nothing?

Okay, I could seriously suck your dick for posting that link.

But FUCK, $400 for 5mg? Anyone have any idea at all about dosages for humans?
>> fancy medical term !CESB7V1aLA
Alright according to this:

http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT00158899

There are currently 12-week human trials going on with "2.5mg, 5mg and 10mg Daily Doses". At $400 per 5mg, I don't think that's going to work very well.
>> Anonymous
>>251874
What's wrong with that? The patients don't pay for the drugs in clinical trials, and $400 isn't unusual. This is why prescription drugs are as expensive as they are, there are tons of expensive trials and studies.
>> Anonymous
usually something that is new and good is very expensive. lets hope this shit will work
>> Anonymous
if this thing actually lives up to the hype (which i really, really doubt that it will), i'm pretty sure i'll an hero
>> Anonymous
drugs are only expensive in amerikkka. You can get the same drugs for 1/4th or 1/20th elsewhere on the planet.
>> Anonymous
>>251899

I have taken several prescription drugs. I have never payed more then what would be converted to ~13$ US.

lol, why don't they focus more on genetic engineering..run 44% faster at birth...no need for pills.
>> Anonymous
If it sounds to good to be true, guess what?
>> Anonymous
Waiting until successful human trials. I wouldn't buy them online either.
>> Anonymous
Didn't read the article but does it mention any side effects like anal leakage?

And>>250961exoskeletons sound cool and effective but when enemies get the same technology the battlefield will be far more dangerous. If we see mobile suit mechs in our lifetime we're fucked.
