I'm not turning anorexic. I just want to lose some extra pounds! Anonymous
How many of you have these experiences with the people around you? And exactly, what do these people do as a result of your supposed "anorexia"?

My Experience (which you can skip if you want to): My family keeps thinking I'm turning anorexic from eating healthy. Whenever I'm over my Mom's house, if I mention anything relating to weight, she'll rant on how I'm don't need to lose anything. Then she bakes a cake and tell me how delicious it is. SABOTAGE.

Protip: OP wants to be anorexic and is pissed people are catching on. Enjoy your cake.

It is delicious cake. You must eat it.

just be more low key. stop talking about weight, calories, how healthy or unhealthy food is, etc.

if someone offers you food and you don't want it, just say you already ate. if you're going to a restaurant do the same thing and just get a diet coke.

if you keep mentioning things like how fat you are, etc. then you are just an attention whore.

who knows. i'm like 40 pounds overweight, and most of the women I know (all at least somewhat fat, and all dating skinny guys) tell me I look fine.

i think that's just how women talk to each other, though.... i don't care, that's why i eat my jerky and do my squatz.

I WON'T ENJOY IT.

how tall are you and whats your weight?

heres what you do to convince them your not annorexic. whenever possible, let them see that your eating. Just let them know that it is also healthy food. Because you cant eat healthy proportions of food and have annorexia so that should shut them up.

My family is similar. When I state that I should eat this or that, which I will be creating myself, instead of my mother's fattening food, my mother and father force the notion upon me that I don't need to eat anything. Comparatively, they also sabotage this by making me eat more gruel than I'm used to. Even worse is, they will not allow me to wake up in the morning for a brisk walk or jog, again, sabotaging any cardio I want to receive.

Unfortunately, I cannot stay low-key as my parents are quite strict. If I stay later where I should be by ten minutes, I continually receive phone calls, to the point where I just turn off my phone.

Also, I'm underageb&d, so I can't move out, or the like.

My mum and everyone I work with insist I'm not eating enough, I eat about 2000 calories a day at the least, usually a bit more than that. It's perception, nobody else around me is cutting.

Are you old enough to get a job? If so start using the money to buy your own ingredients. If not then don't worry. I've learned the best way is try to know what you eat by learning to cook. This way you control your diet After a while they may get used to the notion of you exercising too.

I've come to the conclusion you're a cunt.

Also, what's the deal with parents forcing shit on their kids? Am I the only person who doesn't have insane fuckers for parents?

Yes.

As the kids grow up, food is usually the last thing the parents have control over. I suppose there is a fair bit of "you live in my house but think my food isn't good enough?" going on too.

Mind you, these people are our PARENTS. During the times when THEY were young, they took up various stupid diets and remedies (anybody think tobacco?) of the era to make themselves look more attractive, and were only hurt by it. Plus, they lived in an era where slghtly plump was the popular look.

Okay, my parents are both morbidly obese, which is why I used to be so fucking heavy. Let me give you an example of what kind shit my dad makes. Especially since the divorce. So whenever I go to visit home, I usually do end up starving...

Peanut butter and butter sandwiches, yes, together, on white bread. On average, he will go through at least 2-3 loaves of bread a week, tons of peanut butter, and go to buy about 2-3 packages of butter. Since he overuses it in EVERYTHING. He also bought himself a deep fryer for Christmas and has regular "Fry Feast" nights.

These are where he deep fries French fries, pizza rolls, egg rolls, etc. PLUS He buys Tyson fried chicken...and deep fries it. In Vegetable oil.

I hope I'm in his will, because the man will be dead very soon.

My mother cooks like Paula from Food Network, and refuses to make anything healthy, they feed everyone nothing but junk food and yell at me whenever I tell the kids they need to go exercise or something.

So yeah, you are the only one - Actually, I don't believe you have any parents, enjoy your AIDS.

I live with my parents, and my mom was so proud of the progress I made that it's rubbing off on her. But yeah, I used to be a fatty. My parents never taught me good eating habits. I basically had to figure out everything on my own.

>just get a diet coke.

A diet coke is not healthy you retarded americunt

I think he was referring to just having some pretense of not completely refusing to order anything due to your subtle heath plan

it sounds like your parents are sabotaging you allright OP. 2000 calories a day is not anorexic. Don't listen to your obese parents OP, keep up the good work. I don't even think they have your best interest at hearth, they see you doing something they don't have the willpower for, and start feeling uncomfortable.

Dude, just do what you want and fuck your parents. There are kids your age out there that are doing crack. You're just trying to eat healthy and exercise. If it becomes a problem, tell them you'll go to family counseling. They'll take your side and maybe make them see reason.
