So, for the last year or so I've been lifting M-F (cycling between chest/tri, back/bi, shoulders/legs) running for 3 miles, and then grabbing some protein. While I've gotten much stronger, I've pretty much plateaued. At least weight wise, I'm stuck at 170 (sometimes I hit 168, then go back up to 172, et cetera).
So, I'm thinking of changing my workout a little bit after reading about this HIIT stuff, and also having a bit of protein before the workout as well. So it would be:
Warm-up for 10 minutes
HIIT (starting with 5 minutes I guess with 30/30, and moving up from there)
Lifting
More protein.

What are your thoughts? Alternatively, what are some better things I can do. I don't really care about time tbh.

Have some gone off eggs with that.

always run after lifting. in fact, decrease the amount you're running altogether if you're trying to gain weight.

the gaining weight part is simple. calories expended must exceed calories taken in. eat more. supplement with protein if you want; take it after a workout with some milk and maybe a piece of fruit.
