Have any of you tried/heard of the 6 week body makeover diet?
Did you manage to NOT break the plan? How long did you do it?
Results?

That diet plan gives you a meal-by-meal, day-by-day plan for food. That is the nonsense kind of diet because it doesn't do much to alter your natural eating habits, which you would generally go right back to after the 6 weeks is over.

Adapting a new overall diet, as opposed to just eating exactly what some list tells you to, it always more effective because it becomes your natural eating habit while bullshit fad diets only produce a cycle of dieting, binging, dieting, binging, etc.

The point they're making is that any diet with a set "finish date" is going about it the wrong way.

You can't just do everything right, get to the level of fitness you want, and then quit because you've achieved the results you sought. You'll immediately regress, and the results WILL go away.

Your goal should be to make a lifestyle change towards a pattern of eating which you can maintain (and enjoy) for the rest of your life, not to buckle down and endure misery for a few weeks until you get what you want.

FYI, the 6 week body makeover plan is not intended to last only 6 weeks. The name is misleading, I know. You are supposed to follow the plan until you are at the weight you want to be, and then continue to use the healthy eating habits you've learned from the program.
