did it in coordination with a diet change, not a fad diet.

high protein diet. not necessarily a low carb diet, just jacked up the protein. i dont eat carbs during dinner, though.

example of what i eat nearly everyday:

low-carb slimfast, banana for breakfast / or three eggs

two scoops whey with water mid morning snack

workout

two scoops whey with water post workout

run/bike

lunch - meat, greens, and some fruit

usually a late snack. usually something like a couple handfuls of blueberries and some strawberries.

dinner - 2 chicken breasts or 2 pieces of fish

i lost 15 pounds of fat the first month and a half, i'm 5' 7" and i went from 175 to 160. i'm now around 163.
