Creatine really helps in this aspect. Your body uses ATP for energy, but this substance only lasts around 10secs if you're going all out, this is why you can only sprint all out for short distances. Creatine suppliments increases the amount of ATP you can store.
When you take creatine, it's often advised for bodybuilders to take a loading dose when you start off - don't do this, this is only effective if you want to get bulky. For endurance it's best not to take a loading dose.
Also generally getting stronger, especially in your legs will be really beneficial for sprinting.
