Ok, serious advice:
It's not worth it, OP. Again let me say it in caps:
IT'S NOT. WORTH IT.
Not being offensive, but you sound like you're relatively young. You have a long way ahead of you, and plenty of time to overcome these "anxieties".
Seriously OP, find something you're passionate about. Art, writing, martial arts, sciences...ANYTHING you have a knack for. Find people who hasimilarve the same interests. Use the internet to your advantage (craigslist, etc...)
I'm serious OP, you don't want to get to a point in life where you would regret not putting some serious effort into fixing your "problem". In fact, chances are good you have no problem at all, you're just a little hesitant.
Just fucking DO IT. Whatever it is you always wanted to do. There are no "ways" to fix anxiety.
I personally found that the best solution to the problem is to act like there is no problem.
Time is precious, OP. Just think positive, and have a little courage.
That girl you wanted to talk to, but can't?
FUCK IT, OP. GO THERE AND SAY SOMETHING. GROW SOME BALLS.
You know why? because fear of regret >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> fear of rejection.
If God forbid she told you to fuck off, FUCK IT. She's only going to reject you ONCE. You'll get over it in no time.
If she agrees to go out with you, you'll be wondering if there was ever a problem in the first place.
Take it easy.
