Is there a lot of sodium in salt?
>> Anonymous
Nah, tons of protein though. Pour it on everything.

I dissolve two tablespoons into every glass of water I drink. It's good for you, boosts your metabolism.

Sodium in salt? Nah, thats just a myth, salt is a great source of energy, virtually fat free and 0 calories, it just goes right through you. Use pleantly....jackass

Fuck mixing it with food and water. I eat it by the spoonful straight out of the container. Shit is so good for you, I eat at least a pound of it a day.

If I may, I would like to hijack this thread.

My dad's been consuming about 1/3 cup of salt per day for as long as I can remember, no joke. Strangely enough, he has no problems with high blood pressure whatsoever. To this, I simply must say WAT.

How is this even possible? He also smokes a couple packs of cigarettes per day; does nicotine have some sort of counteracting effect on the salt?

i think theres quite a bit actually

NaCl with some I to keep it from being hydrated.

No, it's the opposite actually. Nicotine is a major factor in high blood pressure.

I guess your dad has good genes.

Salt can't CAUSE HBP, only exacerbate it.
