To add to the pool of questions, /fit/, here I go.

I'm currently an 18 year old male barely pushing 120 on a good day. I have VERY thin forearms which are probably my biggest insecurity followed closely by my thin legs.

I am wanting to gain maybe 20-30 pounds to put myself at about 150 or so. I am 5'11" and don't know if I'll get much taller later on down the road.

I've looked into gaining weight by doing some simple searches but all I seem to find is the all to famous weight-losing guides.

I try to eat a lot but I don't really do well in the morning when it comes to eating. I don't eat breakfast as for some reason I fail to stomach food during the morning...I don't throw up when I eat it's just nauseating thinking about breakfast. Lunch I'm usually fine though.

I don't usually eat anything past midnight the night before so maybe when I'm going so long without food my body is having issues?

Also, when I eat I find my metabolism or whatever digesting REALLY fast so I'm one of those guys that eats something then is on the toilet within the hour.

Any other information you might need to give me a basic layout of what to do to gain some weight and I'm willing to give it up.

Start out with "inoffensive" foods that cannot possibly make y'vomit, like grapes or something. eat some fruit every morning, and slowly segue into more substantial foods like eggs 'n' oats.

You don't really think you fully digest things in under an hour do you?

Eh, not sure if that's actually how the body works...from the tone I'm getting from your post I'm assuming not. However, whether that's food from the day before or earlier in the day that just happens to be digesting around the time the new food arrives in my stomach/digestion track, it's convenient...

You're full of shit and your body needs to make space. That's why you poop after you eat.

Should I worry about a minimum amount of calories I'm taking in or should I just eat healthy and eat a lot for now?

If you are not constipated it usually takes anywhere from 12-24 hours for food to enter and exit again

ok get to the gym, its great because you see people worse off than you and people who are better than you, in other words the perfect comparison.

Next look up "Starting strength", get a routine and get out there.

Mine is -
Mon- Back day
Wed-Chest day
fri-leg day

In between can be Abs or neck day it depends.

But you should be spending more time in the kitchen eating anything that grows and less time in the gym ( 45-1hr ) Start off with compound lifts and eat lots of eggs.

most 16 year olds can't bench their weight, but athletic kids can usually lift 1 - 1.5x their body weight

any plan for you to gain weight is going to involve manning up and eating
find some high calorie food that you can eat in the morning and eat it
i'd try bread and peanut butter, lots of it
then take two big sandwiches with you to school
for lunch eat a few stakes and lots of potatoes/rice/pasta
dinner is again meat a potatoes/rice/pasta
before going to bed eat again
drink 2 large glasses of full fat milk with every meal
