Hi /fit/

My gums bleed very occasionally, they dont look very discolored, but I am slightly worried.

I honestly don't brush often, but i do floss daily, and use Listerine before bed, and during the day if i remember to grab it before my commute.

I clean the plaque from my teeth often with the flossers, because I dont brush enough for the plaque to stay away.

Also, when I eat harder foods, like a toasted sandwich or an apple, it feels as though my lower gums are being pushed on as i bite, and I have no way of knowing if that's normal besides asking. In general it seems my gums are further back on the inside lower gumline than I think they should be.

Im wondering what i can do to improve gum health, besides Brushmoar.

>TL;DR: I'm stupid and lazy and my gums are starting to go downhill. halp.

Yes, indeed some people are blessed with rock-hard teeth and no cavities.
That does not include your gums though and just wait till you get older.
Your teeth and gums may be fine now, but once your defense system gets weaker, you'll enjoy cavities and parodontitis just like everyone else.
If you don't brush, there will build up calculus between your teeth and gums with the years, which will cause problems.

Well, then you explain how a person I lived with who had the exact same dental hygiene regimen as me and ate similar foods ended up with tons of cavities while I had none.

Genetics. Doesn't mean that he shouldn't work harder on his teeth--I'm just saying that not everyone is the same.

Sterilize yo toothbrush wit Listerine fo 30 seconds to kkeyiilllll teh bad bacteria. Especially in the bathroom, fecal related germs and bacteria be everywhere yo.

I thought I had VD but It was a dirty toothbrush. I had huge bloody lesions, then I started sterilizing before use and nothing now.

or you could use a new toothbrush every other week, as you should anyway.

dentist says brushing the gums is more important than the teeth sometimes. They're too sensitive and will bleed the first few times.
