As with most herbal products, they lack hard data and controlled trials. Most of the claims are anecdotal and, of course, they are not regulated by the FDA for quality nor efficacy.

Pfizer dropped the patent on the active compound a few years back (probably because they found no efficacy) and somebody else picked it up and claim they have data, but have not released it.

Exercise.

You'll eventually get used to it.

New diet is not eating as much junk food as I did, I'm an emotional eater so I'm used to eating when I'm bored or depressed so lately been munching on a lot of salads, fruits, veggies. I don't eat a whole lot of meat and if I do its either grilled chicken or seafood mixed with my salads. Oh and been trying to keep up with eating eggs too and some dairy products, mostly fat free yogurt or soy milk.

The word on the street is that most stuff that claims to have Hoodia Godonii in it, doesn't have enough to make it effective. There is more product on the market than is actually exported to most major countries. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoodia_gordonii
