To lose some weight, my plan was to go for more but lighter meals, like 6 200 cal a day.

Problem is, I was about to make myself a PB&J just now, but the peanut butter alone was 200 calories.

So, what kind of food fits this diet? I haven't looked around the kitchen to see what else I can eat yet, so I'm just looking for ideas.

Don't lose weight, lose fat. Work out + eat good. People assume eating healthy means eating less, you need to eat to stay healthy and lose weight. I eat almost 4000 calories a day, of all good food, lentils, wheat bread with turkey, chicken, protein, all kinds of fruit, veggies, etc and I can't even gain weight if I wanted to. Exercise to lose weight, don't starve yourself.
