What do you guys listen to when you go to the gym?
what the gym plays on it's sound system. random delightful pop music. fuck yeah, pink. fuck yeah, outkast.i like it. i don't need metal because i am already fucking insane from endorphins and magic juice. if they played metal i'd kill someone and/or do something stupid and injure myself.
Gonna listen to this freshly downloaded 'Best of Motorhead' compilation next time I go. Sounds a bit slow though.
I don't go to a gym and don't have an iPod or other device. You can get a full workout with just a bar, a set of stairs and a track.
Meshuggah, Mr. Bungle, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, that sort of thing.Or I forget the ol' Cowon and I'm fucked, doomed to listen to Jack FM's braying bullshit ?newNEWnEw? hits
>>20341but i do, thanks for being an elitist prick though.
Fallout Boy. IT. GETS. ME. PUMPED.
either heavy rock/metal or fast technoMy current top pick would be rammstein
>>20344mr. bungle is fucking awesome.
my current list has manowar, entombed, godsmack, fear factory slipknot and atreyu
>>20352I'm not an elitist prick, I'm just a cheap bastard.

>>20385lol
Naruto Official SoundtrackLinkin ParkTrance
storming new capricabear mccreary, battlestar galactica season 3 soundtrackwayward soldier, same artist and OSTtwo great tracks
>>20400I would kill you.
>>20407whats stopping you?
Brotha Lynch Hung. Something about a gangster rapping about murdering people and feeding their bodies to his pitbulls just gets me pumped.
I just added a lot of Daft Punk to my player, testing it out this morning
I listen to audio books. Right now I'm listening to the second book in the Deathgate Cycle. It's very enjoyable.
>>20438Same here. In fact, I usually just watch Interstella 5555 on my Archos while working out on the elliptical or treadmill. It keeps me distracted.
>>20528Archos' are sexy, I like my Creative Zen Vision: M though.Personally I either listen to inspirational music like K'naan when I'm jogging or weight lifting, but if I'm on a stationary bike or the like I will watch episodes of Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares.
>>20420A goddamned series of tubes.
>>20400Took some balls to post Naruto original soundtrack, but I do as well, that weabo shit is all upbeat and energetic and its alright.example for ignorantfags:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pf_HabmkE3kits not to everyones taste but doesnt automatically mean its sht just cos its vaguely related to Naruto
Upbeat jazz and long prog rock shit to get my mind off the fact that I'm bored as fuck
Right now I train at a CF gym, so I'm usually too winded to listen to anything.I used to play the hell out of some Motorhead, though. Old gangsta rap, like Ice Cube or Onyx, worked pretty well too.
Trance and House music...Keeps me goin'
Death metal, it gives me a powerful feeling
Drill'n'bass. Shit genre label, great music.
Daft Punk or something upbeat.I have been meaning to make a gym playlist.Sometimes I plug into the TVs at the gym, but only if something good is on.
>>20571Hahahaha.Daft punk is always good for the heavy lifting days, though.
DragonForce and J-Pop.
creepy. Me too, and that's some weird shit. I got other stuff too, but that constitutes a large chunk
Hard bop, swing or baroque.
My gym always has gay pop radio on :/
Slipknot's self-titled album. Something nice and angry for that heavy lifting.
EUROBEAT
political debates and philosophical podcasts
my own slapping thighs
To catch a predator, audio version...
I am going to go to the gym in 15 minutes, and I will listen to nothing but Eurobeat. If I die of a massive heart attack brought on by anxiety and nerves, I will make sure to write "sup /fit/" on the wall in blood, sweat, and tears.
Video game music. Last boss music gives me endurance.
