Sup /fit/

I love swimming, it's my favorite traditional exercise.

I do laps for 45 minutes every morning, but I was wondering if anyone knows a really good routine to follow between the different strokes. Or is freestyle the best way to go?

I alternate between freestyle and breast stroke to conserve energy but I don't know that it's any better of a workout to switch strokes.

funny, i swim the same amount OP does, but due to cold and lack of time i do it in the afternoon.

my guess is that different styles exercise different muscles. i try to do a little of everything.

OP here, I go to an indoor pool otherwise I wouldn't do it in the morning either. :P

Swimming is for fish.

I'm a goddam land mammal, and last I checked, I had legs for running.

Interval training - Google it with swimming, basically varying pace, and strokes.
