hey /fit/currently im in my second year of college, and i joined the boxing club... at 214 lbs. im cutting weight to get to 175 (im 182 now), but im a little concerned. In the first 4 weeks of training i cut 20 lbs, and after about 3-4 more weeks i am where i am now. im concerned because the week before last i was ~191, last week i was ~188 (basically a trend of -2 lbs after the initial 4 week loss), but this week im 183. I thought i was starting to plateau, but why this jump?for my diet i usually have fruit, cereal, two glasses of water, maybe yogurt and maybe a boiled egg. for lunch i have either a turkey or tuna sandwich with a pickle spear, and for dinner either a grilled chicken sandwich or chicken and rice with corn/carrots. this week however (due to an altercation with one of the ladies that makes sandwiches) ive been changing my lunch to be a chicken caesar salad with lite caesar dressing.im thinking maybe since i have less sodium in me (from the eating less turkey and tuna) im retaining lass water. im not sure though, just a thought. any ideas, /fit/?btw i wont be able to post until later tonight, so keep the thread alive!)
oh, and since changing my diet to have the caesar salad, ive been adding another meal, since it doesnt fill me too much... but the thing is im eating more then...
>>82144It's because you've already torn up you excess water wieght, largest fat cells, and sped up your metabolism. From here on in, it will be even harder and harder to lose wieght.
you're lucky you're still losing weight as fast as you are now
Your doing great actually. Just keep with the cardio, since I'm assuming your doing it for boxing. Maybe you can try some HIIT. What cardio are you currently doing?
