itt, inspiration stuff seen at gym Anonymous
I go to an LA Fitness, and have been doing so for a long time. About five or six months ago, I saw this 14 year old that joined up and started exercising. I only go to the gym for 3-4 times a week, and have always seen him there doing cardio. The front desk people have told me there has not been a single day when he hasn't come, actually. Also, whenever I went in and saw him on an elliptical or something, he was always still on it by the time I left (usually an hour later). Anyway, it's really evident that he's lost a shitload of weight. So, I talked to him recently, and he said he's lost 52 lb. Well, god damn, I've never seen so much dedication from someone so young. What worries me is that he told me he started to lose weight just for the chance to ask this girl he's liked for years... I mean, just for the chance to ask. I'd feel fucking terrible inside if she rejected him.

Well good for him. Wanting a chick at that age is strong stuff, especially with a fucked up family life, I was the same way.
If he gets rejected then he has a much better chance of getting another chick since he's in better shape and his confidence will be up.

I wish I had turned around when I was 14 and decided to be healthy. Oh well. Do you know his stats, OP?

Regardless of his reason, he is doing the right thing.

lol sounds exactly like me, except i was 19, and i lost 150lbs instead, but i was actually rejected :(

that's what I was thinking, that wouldn't he be like aw fuck -binges- if he got rejected.

after my rejection, i went and ate 24 krispy kreme donuts in one sitting, then decided i had come too far to ruin it

Yeah, I actually asked him. He's currently 5'4", 144-145 or so lb. He said he started at around 195-200 lb and was 5'3". He says he has about 10-15 more lb to go, at which point he'll start to maintain. He said he probably won't be as thin as he wants at his goal weight, but I told him he still has the rest of puberty to go, and the fact that he'll still probably lose weight initially while trying to maintain.

You should introduce him to lifting weights, if he's that dedicated to something as trivial and mundane as cardio he should seriously do some lifting. If that girl denies him, teach him to whack a bitch.

damn, thats good shit. throw some muscle on that youngin and hell be swimming in his dream girls pussy every night IMO. take some pictures of him at the gym next time, thats not weird at all.

Damn. I've never had more than 11 at once in my whole life.

I'll probably help him start out on weight lifting soon, though I dunno how responsible I want to be held if I fuck up somehow and he never grows anymore. I think it's fairly obvious from his current age and height that he's only going to be 5'9" or so...

OP here. I talked to him in the gym again today, and asked him if he had any before and after pics he could provide for me to post on a fitness board. He said he didn't take any before pics, but he said that he may be able to contact his teacher, who took a picture of his class in December, which would be the latest picture of him before he started to lose weight.

Dude that fucking sucks...150 lbs?! How are you doing these days then?

I mean, I started losing weight because of a girl I've known for 10 years now and we hardly see each other, but when we do, I can't stop thinking about her for the next few days.

Hopefully I have more luck than you did. :\

But first to lose this 60 lbs.

Maybe so, but I think it'll still be better for him in the long run.

He is doing it nonetheless.

Something intelligent on 4chan?

Oh shi...

still waiting for people to pick up on the fact that he's asking a 14 year old for pictures of himself, ostensibly to put.on the internet.

Wonder how the teacher is going to react. My money's on calling the police.

OP here. Don't worry, I've been talking to him at the gym recently, and he said he's fine with me posting a picture of his progression. It's not like he's going to be sending me fap material of himself.

Get him lifting. Having a bunch of loose skin will destroy his confidence levels.

How do I go about on doing this? I didn't start lifting until college, not really sure how you start out someone who is 14.

Get him on a high school football-esque program. 3 days a week. Get him doing bench, squat, cleans, deadlifts etc. Also pull ups/chin ups. Basic stuff.
