I have diarrhoea anonymous. I came down with a gastro bug on Wednesday, and as such have had diarrhoea since late Wednesday afternoon.

Everytime I go to the toilet it's like someone's opened the flood gates and water comes pouring out.

Is there anyway to stop this?
I've been drinking water to replace the fluids that I'm losing.

no moar water buy pedia-lite will replace your electrolytes better then gatorade.

Yeah, too much water will mess up your fluid balance, causing your body to either toss it out through the rear or the front. And for fuck's sake eat something, that'll hardly make the runs any worse.

It's a good cleansing of your colon. Apparently your body is trying to get rid of something not good inside.

Good cleansing? It's horrible. Is there anyway to speed up the process so my intestines don't feel so bad?

Anon I had the exact same bug. Besides the back end problems, my stomach felt like it was a typhoon of gas, constantly making noises. After 1.5 days I went and got Pepto Bismol and it worked perfectly. Make sure you eat stuff high in fats, toast with jelly is perfect for your stomach. Also try to eat some bananas.

Look, there are commercially marketed tablets that will temporarily stop the diarrhea, it's marketed under the name Gastro-Stop.

Having said that, it won't clear the bug or the shit from your system, and you will have an uncomfortable feeling of "bubbling up in your guts" the entire time you're on it.

yeah, I had some of them the other day, but stopped taking them.
Fortunately i seem to be on the up and up, as today it's not like water.

Don't you hate it when it feels like a fart, but it's really poo? I ruined 3 pairs of good underwear that way.
