Hey /fit/ me again.

I have started going to the gym more often and I usually run on the 8 speed for about 30-60 minutes.

I now weigh 127 lbs (im 5.8 ,17 year old), i went up a bit when i started working out due to muscle gain but the running makes me loose some weight. I have started eating more healthy stuff, but I still eat ALOT when I do eat.
I eat some kind of like allbranberry shit when i get really really hungry in school cuz otherwise I will die due to rage.

My problem is still my fat tummy. How do I get rid of it? Tips? And no throwing up kkthx

Eat what you used to always eat, but do strength training (not cardio). You'll replace fat with muscle. Then you can eat more while exercising to continue to build more muscle.

Oh Yeah, I dont want to build muscles. And I definately dont want to gain weight so I'd rather not do any like muscle gaining superman the hulk exercises. I just want to LOOSE the fat on my tummy, not convert it into fat.

>convert fat into fat
That can't require much work.

should he be on the weights anyway?

i hear you shouldnt really hit them till you are nearing the end of puberty

You're not going to convert it into fat. Only burn it off until muscle is left.

Weightlifting won't make you superman huge unless you purposely go out of your way to gain mass and bulk with a specific diet.

Regardless, if you're trying to get rid of your belly keep doing cardio to burn fat but throw in a lot of ab exercises.

>rid of your belly .... lot of ab exercises
Oh no you don't.

Why not? I began weight lifting at age of 16. Didn't stunt my growth or anything, my height is a very basic 5'11.

OP here. I got a typo, i meant not convert it into big fat MUSCLES. Sorry lol. Anyway, I am doing only cardio and abs, should i go less on the abs and more on the cardio? Anything else than just running?

Let me reiterate: I meant he should do ab exercises for his muscles to grow while he does cardio to burn the fat off of them.

after he specifically said he doesn't want to build muscle?
Anyway, building biceps'll burn fat from the stomach just as well as abs would. If he's determined not to build muscle, OP just needs to do lots of cardo.

Mix in swimming & cycling, much better for your joints as well as arguably being better exercise.

I heard it can mess with bone strength quite significantly whilst they are developing increasing the chances of bone frailty in older life.

Oh sounds good. Altough I do believe swimming is good for the whole body, since I have slim to none upper body muscles I will GAIN alot when swimming, but I'll try to cycle on a low speed/power for a long time today. And another question, Should I drink Gainomax after the workout? Yes/no? I get them for free btw.

The only issue with weightlifting having stunted growth for kids was because earlier, a lot of weightlifters used steroids, which had sped up the calcification of bones, thus slowing growth speed.

In reality, a fucking 4 year old can hit the gym if he wants to.

knowing that now pisses me the fuck off. i used to swim competitively and my trainers wouldnt allow me to hit the weights because I was 'too young'.

Figure out your bmr and eat 200 calories less. swimming will not make you bulk up, neither will weights, basically impossible to bulk up on a calorie deficit. lifting weights burns more calories/fat than cardio. You should eat the right amount, cut out sugar, flour, alcohol, do some circuits on the weights then do HIIT.

they wouldn't let you do it because it'd make you heavier, since you'd be building up non-essential muscles.

Then eat less, duh. You'll look like the pic you posted, but hey, belly fat will be gone.
