So /fit/, post-weight loss guy here. (Down 40 pounds)

All went well, except now I'm thinking of toning my stomach, but wondering what difference it'd make given that the skin on my stomach hasn't settled to my new physique (It's loose). Anyone have any experience with this?

Pic definitely unrelated.

Just do it, can't be bad.
Once your skin ain't flabby anymore, you'll have some muscle.

40lbs isn't a lot, so your skin can't have been stretched TOO much and it'll likely be able to recover fully. You should always do ab work, if only to help stabilise your spine if nothing else, but remember that ab visibility only really depends on your overall bodyfat - if you still have fat on your stomach, you won't be able to see your abs no matter how many situps you do.

It's not uncommon if you had rapid weight loss. It should shrink up over time. If it doesn't removing the excess is a relatively simple medical procedure.

Had that in mind if things weren't going well. How costly is it?

Built a lot of muscle as well, if I'd just dropped the weight and stayed lean, it'd be a much more considerable drop.

Go in the sun more. Lay in your backyard or go to the beach. Tightens up your skin.
