Hey /fit/,
I've got bronchitis. I got it for the first time in my life earlier on this year, but very recently (a few days ago) I got it again. I do smoke, maybe for one and a half years, maybe two. I'm quitting now, as I never want to have this illness again. What I want to know is, do I have chronic bronchitis? When I first got it I told the doctor I didn't smoke, as my parents were with me and they think of me as a good son (I'm not underage b& by the way), basically the doctor this time said its a chest infection, bronchitis and gave me some pills and told me to rest up. I've decided I'm never smoking again (which means no drinking for a while) but I'm really worried that this reappearance of bronchitis may mean that I have chronic bronchitis, and despite my decision to quit smoking, it will return. What do you think /fit/? I need some wisdom here...
Have some porn.

you don't feel like smoking now, but believe me, a week after this bout has cleared up you'll think "maybe if I just smoke one a day", and less than a month later you'll be back to whatever you were smoking before you quit

Yeah I know, I'm doing the whole fucking quit thing. I fucking know its gonna be hard and I wish I'd never started but I grew up in a house full of smokers, and everyone of my friends smokes.
Its not an excuse, but now I realise that medically I could be facing getting this fucking illness again I really mean to quit.

Look I just want to know if I am looking at chronic bronchitis, and that once I've quit smoking, will this illness come back to fuck me up again?

It depends. But if you only smoked for less than two years, and you got bronchitis, I'd assume that you may be likely to have it again. At least more likely than not. For sure though, quitting the habit would really help the situation.
