I just pressed Ear wax down my fucking ear canal, and I now pretty much deaf in the left ear.

HOW DO I GET IT OUT
>> Anonymous
Go to the doctor and they can get out with this really long tweezer thing.

Is there a way besides going to the doctor?

Use your pinky finger to get some vacuum/suction-like science going on in your ear

That's how I've always done it. It just takes a few hours so be patient and gentle

it will melt thanks to bodyheat in a day or so

hydrogen peroxide might help with small buildups, but it also might just melt it down enough to create a worse problem

Mix some honey with water until it goes quite runny, then warm it to above body temperature, and pour it in your ear while laying down.
Remain in a lying position until it becomes cold, then turn your head over and empty your ear.
I've eard that works.

Wow, this is some bad advice.

Alright. Go to a drugstore. Buy an ear irrigation kit, follow the instructions, and you'll be good as new.

I get a lot of earwax every fall and doing this once clears it up. It actually feels pretty nice, and afterwards you can hear so well you feel like you have superpowers.

EASY answer
take a shower, let warm water in your ear hold for a minute, bob the water out.

not advisable to do that often, water can get into the inner ear which causes some major issues.

There's a reason the ear is designed to create an air bubble underwater

The heat and steam from a hot shower should do enough to melt normal ear wax.

OK I had this fucking problem in BOTH EARS once...

I went to the doctor and she took some syringe with a tiny tube and stuck it in my ear, and blasted all the wax out with water that was in the syringe. The water goes way into your ear and then back out, flushing the wax out. It worked really well. I tried the peroxide; didn't fucking work at all. You can buy the syringe things for ear cleaning at a pharmacy, probably.

I've actually seen these things advertised on the internet before. Just do some research and you can buy one for like $20.

same here... i used to wear earplugs everyday cause i worked around planes. then one day i put them in and i couldn't hear out of one ear. I went to the doctor and she used a big syringe that shot water into my ear. it actually felt good... like an ear canal enema. it flushed out a giant wad of earwax about the size of a peanut. she did it to my other ear too, the one i could still hear out of, and a giant piece of wax came out as well.
