From the start of the weight loss to a few months in I went into a cold-turkey style diet. 900-1300 calories a day. I got a job that required hard fucking work all the goddamn time (cart boy at targay) and yeah. When I lost 60 lbs I looked in the mirror and didnt notice a goddamn difference. In my eyes I looked the same. Around october I got a gym subscription and upped my food intake. My diet consisted of cereal with skim milk, salad, beef jerky and raw lunch meat. Granted it would make any nutritionist cringe, it seemed to work.
Now I eat a lot of fruit. I cant afford beef jerky, but I still eat lunch meat + sourdough bread (5g protein a slice, fuck!) sandwiches. No mayo, no cheese, no bullshit. 1400-2200 calories a day, usually going by 'am I hungry?'
I started doing cardio a month or two ago. Starting was the hardest part. I would go on walks, then longer walks, then longer walks, leading up to 2-3 hour walks. I then moved to bike riding cause its m'favorite. I now do 18 mile bike rides a day.
