So I went to a PT and he said that my meniscus and ligaments are just fine and that the reason my knees are stiff and clicking is because I've irritated the tissue under one of my kneecaps (clean and jerk accident- I stepped out during the clean rather than the jerk and my knee buckled inwards, duh).He said my knees are kind of weak and loose going inward and outward from my body, and I'm inclined to agree. So. How can I strengthen my knees and make them more stable?
Do i really need to answer this?
in after squatz
Yeah, I used to squat hardcore before I damaged my knees. What else?
lunges, leg extensions, renegade lunges, with SQUATZ
I heard lunges are bad for your joints (especially weighted lunges) because they put too much forward momentum on your knees.
Pistol squats are the king of knee exercisesDon't do them if you're not strong enough, progress into them (search google)
squats on wobble boards and eventually exercise balls
