It's not genetics. It has to do with how active you are, and how much you eat. You don't eat enough, and you might be too active. I don't think being active is bad as long as you eat enough. IN fact being active is fucking awesome. Not start a food journal and record everything you eat. Date it every time. YOu will pretty quickly see the problem. GOOD LUCK.

No I used to be 122 and about 5'11 and I ate as much as I would like and was only partially active. If you start to work out and take a weight gainer you will pack on the pounds I weigh 137 now and I'm pretty sure the extra weight is 99% muscle.
