Swimming foods Anonymous
Hi /fit/.

I like swimming, however I don't know how to plan meals around it. As a young boy every time I went to the beach I had to hear several family members tell me that I shouldn't eat before entering the water because it could get me SEVERELY KILLED. So nowadays I still go to the pool after at least 3 hours have passed since my last meal. As you can imagine I feel pretty energy less and end up my training with a lot of hunger.
So I was just wondering:
* Do you eat before swimming? And if so:
-> What do you eat before going to the pool?
-> And how long before actually entering the pool?

Just drink the water as you swim since water is a carbohydrate it's like swimming in pure energy dude.

lol 3 hours waiting

might as well not go swimming for the next few days if you ate something

but srsly, half hour wait is fine, maybe a little longer if you ate something as heavy as pizza or fries

its not gonna get you severlly killed idiot.

It'll just give you a nasty stomachache followed by diarrhea.

I'm gullible but lets not get carried away, shall we?
Water is clearly a lipid.

30 minute wait is fine unless you ate something heavy, then you need to wait about an hour..

Generally before I go swimming I eat something like a banana.. sometimes I'll jump right in to the pool after eating and and I've never been hurt or anything by it, but I could just be lucky or something. :\

I was always old a 20 minute wait between food and swimming, you've been trolled, OP.

Don't go hungry.
