Hey mis/fit/s, I work a physically demanding job for 8-10 hour shifts 4-5 days a week. I want to eat better overall and have more energy so I've been taking lunches in instead of eating out or buying junk food on breaks. However, I'm already sick of the typical lunch foods and I need some suggestions.

The facility has a fridge and a microwave, so I can keep food cold (or frozen) and heat them up if need be. I need specific suggestions for snacks that are healthy and will give me a much needed energy boost, and ideas for lunches that will fill me up and tide me over til the end of my shift (usually I'm starving by 4.)

Beef really isn't option for me, but chicken and fish are. I also like most vegetables and almost always pack a spinach salad as a side in my lunch. Please suggest something other than sandwiches though, because I've been eating them like fucking crazy and I need to take a break. Thanks in advance.

Cook some meat, brown some veggies, add water and stock. Cook, add some noodles. Take to work an dmicrowave.

Instant noodles are great if you have a kettle - you can add as many vegetables and pre-cooked chicken as you like to add taste too.
