So I've been doing a bulk and cut cycle, and I'm three months into bulking. I'm 5'7" and started at 139. Now I'm at 157. I noticed in the mirror today I'm getting rounder in the stomach. My waist has jumped from 29" to 31" However, I still have a pretty clear 6 pack, it's just sitting on top of the roundness. My diet is 5 meals a day with a 20/50/30 split of fat/carbs/protein

Am I gaining weight too fast? I've been naturally lean all my life but I'm worried how hard it will be to cut the fat. I feel like I should start cutting now, even with another month to go.

pic just for lulz

if you are as big as you want then yes

otherwise wait till you are done on your cycle cause if you want to bulk later you will just get as "round" all over again

You could probably cut back on calories a little bit, but it's probably easier to wait for your cut cycle. There's a reason powerlifters always have big bellies.

Do you do ab work? Building up your core will actually add to your girth, and it sounds like that's happening, because if it was fat, you probably wouldn't have visible abs.
