Hey /fit/

I've started eating well and doing exercise a week ago, and it's working. I was weighting in at 210-215lbs a few weeks ago, and now I'm around 195lbs. I run 20 minutes on an Elliptical Trainer every day, and I'd like to do squats maybe, because I have a bench. I'd like to get advice on some exercises that will help me lose weight, not get motherfucking ripped.

Also, I've been only drinking water and eating like 3 apples and like 2 bananas a day, sometimes an omelet. Is this bad for me ?

OP Here, I'd like to know if it's better to keep a steady pace during 20 minutes of running or (like I did yesterday) run faster for 2 minutes, slow down for a minute, run faster for 2 minutes, etc.

Jesus christ, you are losing retarded amounts of muscle, and not a lot of fat. Holy shit, do you have no clue about nutrition ? None at all ?

I can't even begin to tell you whats wrong with your entire diet plan. Sweet titty fucking christ.

Go to t-nation.com. Read all the diet and nutrition articles. Shit, read all the articles.

I've started eating that, but I didn't always do that. Hell, I used to sit at my computer, eat 2 of those frozen dinner plates, and then eat some chips and do nothing all day.

What should I eat ? I mean, I don't do the groceries cause I'm 18 and I live at home with my parents, and they eat mostly shit, like pizza and pasta and whatever the fuck. There are some fruits, cereals (Cheerios honey and nuts), bread, water, and oatmeal (fruit flavored). So I don't really have to choice but eat fruit.

What are the thing I should avoid eating then ?
