Pullups @ home Anonymous
Sup /fit/, looking to get some kind of pullup bar or something so I can do some lifts while I'm waiting on random shit (cooking, etc)

A standard door mount one seems weird, can I close my door, what if my door frame is cheaply made, etc etc. I only weigh about 150 pounds but still.. I will be gaining weight (hopefully) and I don't want the wood to tear out. Also I am moving into an apartment soon, and don't think the landlord would be too thrilled about drilling into my door.

Is there any other way to do pullups at home? Like a floor standing thing or something that would be fairly cheap? Thanks much

pullups while cooking/ what the fuck?

I carry barbells around the house and exercise while I wait on random stuff. OP made me realize I'm not the only one that does this.

I used to do 20 pushups every time I cooked my breaked. I could do 20 pushups before my eggs were cooked.

if it's taking you that long to cook eggs, you're doing it wrong.

A power tower would work, but it'd be easier just to span a galvanized pipe with two flanges across a hallway. When you leave, just patch up the holes with some wood filler and paint over it.
