>>401431 You should realize that swimming for exercise is some of the most monotonous boring forms of getting fit ever. I swam on the swim team for 9 years, I hated it. If you want something to get you fit fairly fast, and not have to worry about joint damage much, I'd get on a real bike. It's nice because you can have a good change of scenery, fresh air at your face, and listen to music.
