Alright /fit/ im even more depressed now, Posted 2 days ago that I was 303 and was down to 276 in a couple of weeks of exercise / alot better diet. I have been eating a little more calories (up to about 1500) on recommendation. Now heres the problem, 2 days ago I posted i was stuck at 276 for 5 days straight doing the same thing I did to lose all the weight, now today I have actually gained a pound somehow.... wtf is going on!?!

FYI Gym for 1 hour + a day 6 days a week is what I have been doing. Mostly 1 hour of eliptical with heart rate between 150 and 170 followed by some weights.

it could be so many different things. You could have retained a little bit of water. you could still have some shit in your stomach.

the most likely answer is that you've actually put on some muscle. Muscle weight is good weight, it will help youburn more cals. 1 pound of muscle = an extra 30-50 cals per day.

and stop weighing yourself everyday! your weight fluctuates too much to do that. do it once a week.

Make sure you're keeping your metabolism high by eating frequent meals (6 a day), eating breakfast, keeping active all day and drinking plenty of water.

OK listen to me. FUCK WHAT YOU WEIGH. It's about what you look like. All kinds of factors can change your weight.

Are you drinking enough water?
Is your diet high is salt?
Did you get more muscle?
Did you weigh yourself after you ate?

You need to really get into lifting brah.

Read this. Put some muscle on your body. It makes it easier to lose weight.

Also you can try switching from elliptical to HIIT. If you think your body can handle it.

Also you can't do the same thing to lose weight. You constantly need to door more. It seems like your body got use to the same routine so you don't burn as much.

complete noob here but what is HIIT and how does it work?

You didn't "gain one pound". One pound is so well within the normal weight fluctuations you get *without changes in body composition* that you can't even count it.

All right brothers, Who will stand up with me? Who will help fight against this tyranny of HIIT?

4 min of HIIT exercise is supposed to beat 1 hour of intense cardio?

Who has the sauce on this? I can see it being better than 20-30 min of moderate cardio, but better than an hour is getting ridiculous.

This year on the Tour de France, everyone trains by doing 4 min of HIIT. Marathon runners now train 5 min a day! It's a new world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because it's better numb nuts. One hour of running burns more calories, BUT it burns a large amount of muscle compared to HIIT. The longer you do normal running the more muscle starts getting eaten away. Why do you think marathon runner are so small compared to sprinters.

What this guy said. Unless you're a boxer or something, fuck your weight, go for looks. What satisfies you more, looking in tip-top shape, or having a lower measurement when you stand on a box of springs? Seriously.

He wants to be smaller!

And I call BS on the catabolism after 1 hour of cardio. I want sauce on that too.

And thanks for calling me numbnuts. You hurt my feelings
