Being in a hot shower is like being outside on a really hot day, you body sweats to cool yourself off. Just stand under cool water for a minute or two before you get out of the shower and your body wont have to work so hard to cool you off because the water will have already done it.

I use that deodorant depicted in OP.

Works really well.

go to a doctor and get some prescription antiperspirant

my friend in high school had this. he'd be sitting in class in the middle of winter sweating through his sweatshirt. he got some really strong stuff and i guess it helped, we didn't talk about it too much.

Gets some prescription deodorant. I have the same problem but beware; the prescription stuff will burn like a mother fucker for about and hour when you put it on before you go to bed. Keeps your pits mother fucking dry though.

Seconded, worked wonders for me. Put it on before you go to bed.

The "clinical strength" shit they sell in stores is a load of bull, though. If you can't find certain dri, then get a prescription.

I had the same problem and gave this a shot.

It itches like hell when you put it on, but you only need one or two applications a week.

not sweating is not healthy. I WANT to sweat when I go to the gym. moar.

you're still overweight. Congratulations on your reduction. But you still have an extra layer of insulating fat around you that other people don't. You should always sweat more in this heat than the rest of us. He should continue to do more cardio to reduce that.

So then the question becomes, how the fuck do you prevent sagging skin? I heard a few lose it slowly, maybe with some oils rubbed in? I think for the existing sagging skin you're already fucked. I don't have a fucking clue.

I know I am. I'm still dropping weight and I do lots of HIIT. however I know people with my build who don't seem to have this problem.

also, you can't prevent sagging skin in other way than not getting overweight. normally it reduces itself over time, but in extreme cases surgery is the only option. an oil is fine too, don't think it'll do much though

200 lbs (former 230), 6'3" 21 yo guy here

basically you have to get something with aluminium oxide in it, be it Drysol or CertainDry; where I live it's called Etiaxil, and what it does is - it physically blocks sweat glands wherever you apply it. I've been using it for a year, applying it two times a month. Your body does get used to it though, and soon you'll have to do it every 3-4 days.

There are cons, though.. It is said that the aluminium going to your bloodstream is accumulated in your CNS and brain and will later contribute to Alzheimer's and Parkinson's desease.. but I choose to ignore this in view of the immediate benefits and social ease it gives me

Also to compensate for dry pits you'll start sweating from places you'd never expect, It's been 30 degrees celcius here for a few days now, and I come to class wearing shorts and literally have streams of sweat coming down my socks from under the knees! Oh well, might as well try putting it down there.

yours truly, Anon
