it doesnt matter but cheap creatine can draw water in your muscles so it's smart to take it after to keep up hydration during work outs. creatine needs to build up in your system (loading) and then you take a maintenance dose 5g a day to keep the levels elevated so it really doesnt matter when you take it, but most suggest after. if you think it gives you a rush then by all means take it before. it's smart to try both and see how your body responds.

I was JUST about to ask this same question.

What's up with the "loading phase"? I've heard everything from 1 tsp/day to 4-5 doses of 1 tsp/day for the first 2 weeks.

obviously you dont lose creatine results, it simple adds a phosphate group to allow atp be replenished. it naturally occurs in the body, creatine sups just make this process optimal so that you can get out the extra rep and progress faster. in no way does taking creatine itself and muscle, though some can cause water retention in the muscles, but these are not factored into the gains associated with creatine.

for 4 days take 5g 4 times a day. that's the general rule of thumb. also cycle it. 30-90 days on, then the same off(well at least a month off)

pointless and a waste of money unless ur just looking for BIGGER MUSSELS that will go away even just after the loading phase.

just take 3-5 grams a day.

>>353809
only wants BIGGER MUSSELS and not strength

ok, so looks like 5g (1 tsp)/day should be fine.
