don't have any scientific evidence to back it up but i used to be a couch potato with major shitting problems that sometimes even fiber supplements couldn't fix. then i started running every second day for half an hour and i shat like a supertrooper, without changing my diet at all. and when i stopped running, so did the shit. i haven't exercised very regularly since then but i have added prunes and lots of water to my diet. it helps but not nearly as much as the running did. also, my old job required some heavy lifting and my poos were big and satisfying, though not very regular. running made me very regular, and each time delivered satisfying results. and that is how my poo and exercise routine relate to each other.
