Is it true that it's better to work out in the morning before you eat anything? It seems like it would be a bad idea because your body doesn't really have anything to run on without eating anything.

glucose is gone, goes straight to the fat.

its good to do cardio in the morning not work out

I hate cardio before eating, personally. I feel sluggish and tired and it's hell to try to get through the first ten minutes. If I eat breakfast, wait an hour, and then go and do it I'm not only able to go for longer, I don't feel as shitty when I'm warming up.

The reason you're told to do cardio in the morning is not so you can burn fat straight off, it's because that cardio will then increase your metabolism for the rest of the day- just like eating breakfast.

You have to ingest stuff before, during, and after the cardio workout. You can't perform well without energy, you need fucking carbs. Again, you need energy to burn the fat.

Slaves do all that hard labor work and eat only one meal a day and look at how little fat they have

This is a not a good thing. The point of exercise is to exhaust and break yourself down so you can be built back up again stronger. The sooner you reach your limit, the better off you'll be.

I guess it might be okay if you're aiming to be an "endurance" athlete, but most people going to functional strength and looks will want to avoid that.
