Hey /fit/

I want to get fit but can't afford gym membership nor do I have much room for a weights bench and set. I do have a decent set of dumbells with weights and have access to more.

Firstly, can I gain muscle, lose weight and get fit with just dumbells and a running routine?

And second, what reigeme should I do?

Start with one of the full body workouts from http://www.exrx.net/Lists/WorkoutMenu.html. Don't worry about doing any of the italicized muscle groups yet. Pick exercises that use only dumbbells.

I like the Couch-to-5k running program at http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml. There are podcasts the tell you when to walk and run so all you have to do is get out there and follow instructions.

You can definitely get in shape with running and dumbbells. It is all I use.

Yeah, dumbbells are generally enough for a full workout.
