Yes, but only if supplemented with Hydroxy-cut

I'm asking for serious. Christian Bale as Patrick had an AMAZING body. I don't have the time nor money for a fitness studio, so I thought of starting with normal running and stomach crunches.

Imagine sitting in a boat, you take a bucket to the water, there isn't a hole in the water right? thats how human fat works.
>> Anonymous
>>439948

YOU CAN'T LOSE FAT IN CERTAIN POINTS OF YOUR BODY.

It's that simple.

In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches

You cant target fat loss.
You don't have 30 minutes of your day that you can spare doing cardio outside for FREE?
The only way you will ever look like Christian Bale is if you drop your body fat percentage to 6%, only then will you have a valid reason to start doing stomach crunches, otherwise you aren't doing any good when that muscle is hiding under layers of belly fat.

Did you know that Whitney Houston's debut LP, called simply Whitney Houston had 4 number one singles on it? Did you know that, Christie?

There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman; some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me: only an entity, something illusory.

Also run on a variety of surfaces - road, track, grass etc - so that your muscles dont all get used to the same thing.

If even you use a treadmill, do it barefoot.

I would start with devoting around half an hour of your time to this a day. Run at a good speed for one minute, then walk regularly for three. Repeat until time is up. Do this for a week.

Week two, run for 1.5. minutes in every four minute period.

Build this up till after around six weeks youre running close to 30 full minutes a day. After this, just increase distance each day, dont care about time TBH. Stretch after sessions to warm down, never before them.

stomach crunches = bigger/stronger muscles
bigger/stronger muscles = more energy potentially exerted
more energy exerted = more energy required

one type of energy is fat, which is burned last on your body (besides muscle tissue), meaning to burn more fat, you need to eat less energy. Energy is measured in calories, and to burn even more fat, you need to have bigger/stronger muscles.

Thus, ab crunches can/will effect how much fat you can lose, but will not lose fat by itself.

True, I'd rather see a schedule of 1 day of squats, followed by 2 rest days, then 2 run days (5 day schedule for casuals) in a row, to improve that run time.

Monday: SQUATZZZZZ (as many as you can do before muscle failure, make sure you can still walk afterwords though... you won't feel pain but you'll be walking funny.)
Tuesday: Rest, if you did your work on monday, you should be having a problem just walking, don't bother running in this state.
Wednesday: If you feel up to it, run, if your legs are still sore, don't. It's that simple.
Thursday: Rest if you ran yesterday, run if you rested yesterday. Your legs might be still sore, but now its not because they are still healing, you need to stretch those puppies out, running is awesome.
Friday: RUN, RUN, and RUN SOME MORE.

Repeat that and you'll probably increase your run speed and duration. Following the APFT, probably after a month or so of that schedule you can run 2 miles in 14-15 minute range pretty easily, unless your some ridiculous lard ass.

From what I can tell you right now, if you work with this regimen, you aren't going to last, either that, or your knees will fuck up within the first month.

You might want to check this site out for your "magical" six-pac ab solution:

You don't burn fat by doing crunches you just exercise your abdominal area, you can burn fat in your stomach like you do in any body part you have to do an cardio activity (as in running, swimming and hard cycling).

don't forget to put on an ice pack while doing your stomach crunches. It helps with the puffiness around your eyes.
