If I start running like five miles using High Intensity Interval Training EVERYDAY, will my muscles begin to shrink from being overworked? Can't I just run during the weekdays, rest on the weekends? Doesn't chilling+sleeping for like 15 hours after the HIIT count as enough recovery?
Or would i HAVE to set aside the following day of my HIIT to recover, in order to sustain my muscle??

I wouldn't bench at all (not strong enough yet).
I'd just lift weights (bicep curls) a few hundred times every other day or so.
