/fit/ I think I have shin splints. I have a throbbing ache on my shins during and after running, or doing squats. what can I do to get rid of this shit, its annoying as hell.

As sad as it sounds, no running until they heal is the best way to go. No sure about squats though. Should take about three weeks. I feel your pain though, I got stress fractures in my shins from skiing last year; was absolutely brutal.

I think I have the same problem as you OP. but shin splints sounds serious and that you have to stress the shins extremely to get it, which I haven't done.
I just thought I had some weak muscles surrounding the shin..

dont stress it for two weaks at least. get propper footwear and work on your posture.
but there are 2 different conditions that feel like shin splints, one has something to do with tissue that connects muscle and bone, and the other i forgot, i also forgot how to differ them, so you gona have to google t for yourself
