I've always been skinny due to high metabolism. (5'8 120pds)
and everyone always told me that once I'm older my metabolism would slow down and I'd gain wieght.

I'm 28, 5'9" and have high metabolism. You should take advantage of it. I eat pasta every single day, work out about twenty minutes a day, and stay at about 150 lbs.

My dad's slowed down when he was 58. He weighed the same from freshman year of college (when he stopped growing) until 58. I force-fed myself and started lifting, and have gained about 50lbs in 4 years. It's not impossible, but you just have to eat 6+ meals a day every day. My BMR is about 3500. I'm a guy, but that doesn't matter.

I had the same problem OP, I fixed it by eating a shit ton of meat every night.

such as steaks, chickens etc... I gained 20 pounds, so I was 140 something, but then I stopped and dropped back down to 120 pounds.

Because his book is an excellent way to teach yourself/others how to properly perform and understand each major compound movement. He doesn't just tell you do keep your back straight, shoulder behind bar, etc... while deadlifting, he explains exactly why it should be done like that. I don't know about his program though, I've never tried it myself, but his book has definitely given me a better understanding of the lifts I'm performing.

ur not that skinny OP. I am currently 5'11" and workin on 115lbs. I eat two of every meal and exercise, and the muscle gained from exercise is the only reason i am above 105.
