When working out in the morning is it better to eat before working out or after?

Before. While some people think that doing cardio fasted can help you lose fat faster, I disagree.

Lifting weights before eating breakfast is just a retarded idea.

I dont know much about the nutritional aspects. I've just stuck to small amounts of carbs before I work out cardio, and protein after I'm done doing lifting. Seems to work. My muscles don't hurt as much when I'm done working out, and they're bulking up decently, while my weight is dropping as well.

Anyone that can give a better opinion on what to do would be appreciated, not just for OP, but myself as well.

I just felt a huge difference in endurance this morning during my usual run. Instead of eating a granola bar right before I ran (I get out of class, eat one, and then run), I had a bowl of cereal before I went to class. It was awesome, I didn't even feel tired after I was done.

liquid food before workout is should be good

Proteins are slower than carbs to get into the blood, therefore i would eat protein and then carbs to get your insulin levels up

But dont worry about getting your carb depots refilled.

All personal trainers I've met have given me shitty advice and shitty training schemes that involve lots of machines and core-balls, and no free weights.
