I now understand what /fit/ means by someone 'curling everything in sight.' Today at the gym EVERYBODY was doing curls. Two guys doing spotted curls in the squat rack. Curls at the bench press area. Barbell curls at the INCLINE bench area. Curls at the cable machines. And perhaps most surreally, curls at the curl station, with ISOLATED BARBELL CURLS IN BETWEEN.

I swear I saw one guy do all of these in sequence, though it could be that all those douches looked the same to me. And maybe it was 'arm' day, but nary a tricep exercise in sight.

I am far from being a paragon of fitness, but I couldn't help but be amused by this. Thank you /fit/, for showing me the way not to be like these guys.

Nothing, fags saw they can't get biceps so they tried to hide this fact by making up that curls are an inferior exercise.

its not that curls are inferior, its that people who only do curls are inferior

pretty sure anyone could get biceps easily so i don't think that's a correct assumption

When you go to the gym as much as I do, you see a lot of people's workout regimes day to day and some of them are really terrible. Like, one guy I see arrive for three-four days in a row, he does bicep curls, shoulder press with terrible form, side raises and bench press, repeats it for two hours. Leaves, and comes back to do the same thing the next day. Then, he's MIA for a week or two before he comes back.

Obviously he has terrible results. I think he's getting fatter, and his biceps are tiny. He's probably more hungry from the increased activity, but he does so little to burn fat that he is gaining. In the time that he has gained maybe an inch of bicep circumference, I have gained more than 6.
