Sodium is one of the most important nutrients to get. Fuck, you need sodium for EVERYTHING. It makes you think quicker, react faster and nourishes blood and organs.

There's no solid evidence that too much sodium does anything bad to you aside from possibly making you dehydrated if you eat too much sodium and neglect to drink adequate water to balance it out.

Here's a protip: Every single synapse in your brain (you have billions of them) needs sodium and potassium to function properly.
