Alright /fit/ I have a question.

I've been running in the evening and it's been doing wonders for my weight. I hit a plateau after biking every day for 30-50 miles a day. Now that it's cold I've started running and working out with weights and resistance workouts.

My questions is I have work at 6 am every day. Takes me 20 minutes to get to work. My gym just changed their times to open up at 4:30 every morning during the week days.

Will it speed up my metabolism if I work out in the morning for a half hour? All I'm going to do is maybe jog for a bit then walk at a high resistance level.

half an hour of pretty intense training is fine.

Anything to get your heart rate up.

I lift at 3 am every other morning. Gets me so fucking pumped for the rest of the day.
