hey /fit/ are there any real consequences to a really sedentary lifestyle?I don't do very much. I mean sometimes I just turn off the tv and fall asleep on my couch at 3 AM and then wake up at 9 and turn it back on and lay there for a few more hours before getting up to pour a bowl of cereal. I don't know, I just don't like getting up to do shit. I guess I'm lazy. This isn't an everyday thing. I mean, I work and go to school every weekday so I'm busy for some 50-60 hours a week, but during the weekends all I want to do is lie here... and I usually do because I don't have any friends or a girlfriend or anything. I'm not here to bitch about that though. I'm just wondering if for some 60 hour span I do very little (I don't eat much either, I weigh about 145 right now) but the rest of the week I stay active, will it all even out? Is there a minimum level of activity I should do every 12 to 24 hours? thanks
no, there are no negative side effects to never moving. you should stop moving entirely. including heart function.
