would it be less terrible for you? Considering you need a LOT of protein and carbs post workout to bulk.

Obviously it's not optimal... but would it be alright? You provide your body with carbs and enjoy yourself a little as well.

several post-workout mixes have some sugar in them to create an insulin spike to help you absorb protein (assuming you are also taking protein postworkout), so ya it wouldnt be the worst thing. still not recommended ofc

ya i remember a creatine i used to take had 75g of sugar per serving specifically for an insulin spike. it's not a bad idea as long as you are bulking as it is obviously going to put on some fat as well.

It's better to drink it before the workout.

Anyway, the phosphoric acid is bad. Most people have too much phosphorus in their diets, and so they excrete the excess.

The problem is that calcium goes out the same door as phosphorus, and most people don't get enough calcium.

You need calcium to build your body. Avoid drinks containing phosphoric acid such as sodas.

Ironically enough, if you remove the gas out of it, coca cola is a pretty decent drink after excercise. I'd advice other kind of drinks, like banana-milk-sugar but it's pretty decent for being such a piece of crap.

Fact and protip: Also great for cheap suntanning.
