Dear /fit/, I do a lot of pullups where I go up and the bar goes behind my head and then I got back down instead of doing chin ups

What muscle(s) does this work out besides biceps?

Behind the head chinups/pullups/press are useless and dangerous. Do regular ones instead.

i wouldn't say entirely useless but they do put more strain on your rotator cuffs than i prefer to. but i absolutely do agree that regular ones are probably better.
