/fit/, I am overweight but I run on a treadmill for 30 min a day. My knees hurt. Is this a bad thing? What do I do to stop it?

OP -
I do not promote running or jogging as exercise unless you are training for a marathon. This high impact can destroy your knees and make it hard later in life.

I recommend using a stationary bicycle machine, an elliptical machine, or a rowing machine for your cardio.

Your knees will thank you.

i lost fat like a motherfucker using kettlebell swings. won't fuck up your knees either, unlike runnning.

Typically, you want to keep moving for more than an hour, as your body will begin to burn excess fat at that point.

Look up "HIT" if you don't have that kind of time.

Stay away from ANY fatty foods, no cheating. Also, try doing some weight lifting, the more muscle you have, the easier it is to keep off fat.

I've read that after an hour of cardio, you are burning more muscle mass than fat. keep your sessions between 30-60 minutes for optimum fat loss.
