So bulking up, how do you guys do it?
You just eat a lot of (healthy) food, take a bunch of supplements, and then work out?
I know the food wouldn't be junk like Doritios or ice cream

Also, I really don't want to use supplements (creatine, etc) as I really don't have the money

You eat more calories than you use, it's simple.

Correct and gainers are here to help you add some calories, and protein supplements to add some calories. Don't mention creatine now because the minimal requirement for it is proper diet.

It just doesnt make sense to see people not eating enough AND taking creatine. the creatine doesn't do anything in these conditions.

Creatine+lots of hamburgers (seriously)+peanut butter+heavy lifting. Gained some good weight by doing that.

Is it true when you eat then work out, most of the blood is in the digestive track instead of the muscles cause little growth?

Depends on how long the wait is between when you eat and lift. I know a couple guys on my team that like to eat a protein bar or drink a shake before they lift and they think it works for them. But most of the guys tend to eat afterwards. It's really preference/ trial and error.

Like you said, Gainers are a good way to 'add some calories' but it's better to get them from your food. When trying to gain it's important to see what your calorie intake was before you started trying to gain to see what it should be. For me I was getting around 3,000 calories a day (I was 6'2 150) Now that I'm trying to bulk I'm getting around 7-8,000 (6'2 170) But this is after around 2 years of hard lifting and dedicated training for a sport.
