true. at least other forms of cardio are better. Since you are surrounded by water, it robs your body of heat meaning that your internal body temp is not elevated following activity. This means you will not be burning as many calories following exercise like you would from cycling or running. Also, swimmers tend to hold a small layer of fat to improve bouncy

Actually, professional swimmers do cardio out of the pool because their body fat amount is on average around 12% naturally, and they have to shed some extra pounds to get some speed but that's not very easy to do inside the water.

Remember that these substances isn't that important and the body only need about 10mg a day and the reason most vegan do not get enough is because they tend to eat the same type of fruits and vegetable every day instead of mixing it up and eating what their body needs. Also if you don't want to work that hard there is also supplements, its not like its such a taboo on this board.

my godfather was a butcher and I was talking to him about the protein quality and the corn feed and living conditions are absolutely true as well as very detrimental to the protein quality. Not only that, but it is very difficult to find meat raised otherwise because a lot of those organic or grass fed labels are total bullshit. I am not saying this to get people to become vegetarians. But it needs to be pointed out that the majority of meat consumed in America (and a few other countries) is poor quality and a far cry from actual meat. If I had a ranch and could oversee the feeding, and living conditions of my livestock, I would have no problem eating meat again. Until then, I remain a vegetarian. I hope others will be more conscious of their meat quality because this is a serious issue
