Dear /fit/,

I need to lose about 5-6 pounds in two days. Thats after a 2 hour workout, 5 miles of running(split into two sections), pushups, pullups and 20 minutes of sitting in the suana, this all with a sweat belt, trash bag over my torso, T shirt above that, sweat shirt(hood up, sleeves down), running shorts and then sweat pants over that. From running, the calories I burned were in the 700-900 range, not counting anything else i did.

If I eat about 600-900 calories a day, and do the above workout twice a day for the next two days will I burn 5-6lbs?

I am also considering using epson salt as well, to shit out another 2-3lbs.

Halp /fit/. Halp me plox!

I need to do this so I make weight to ship out for bootcamp(Marines).

My weight is "fine" however, my pullups are lacking and I can't pass the minimum, if I can hit 207(currently 212) I don't have to worry about pullups.

Tuesday afternoon I will be able to eat whatever the fuck I want, just from tonight 'till then I need to burn 5-6lbs.

Then you are weighing in.

Spit into a cup for 2 days. When you go and weigh in you'll feel like shit, and it won't be the healthiest activity, but it should work.

Also, don't eat.

Oof. You're gonna get your ass kicked so hard at boot if you're doing this to make weight. How soon do you ship after MEP?

My running and situps are fine, just my pullups are shitty(I'm hitting a mental wall, I can crank those fuckers out on a counter-balance machine, just when I hit the bar I can't).

I have no doubt I'm going to get my ass kicked in bootcamp, everyone does. If I need to be pork chopped I'll be pork chopped, but I just want to fuckin out of here.

I go down for processing/shipping Tuesday morning which leaves me with tonight, tomorrow and monday to do what I need to.

Should I keep up with hardcore PT along with not eating? Also I've heard that not eating will make you gain weight(word of mouth sort of thing)

Super-low calories diets can cause you to gain weight. Not eating can cause you to stop losing weight as fast. It's a complicated system of responses to starvation stimuli. If you're really set on this, you're probably got the best chance just keeping up what you're doing.

One pound of fat is approx ~3500 calories. Assuming you need to burn 5 pounds, you'd need to lose 17500 calories.

Depending on your body size you lose a certain amount of calories just by living. For me I need about 2200 to sustain my weight. If I burned 1500 calories through intense exercise it'd mean I burn 3700 calories in a day, if I then ate 600 calories I'd be at a 3100 calorie deficit.

3100 X 2 = 6200, a far cry from the 17500 needed to actually lose the weight. You'd have to lose the rest of the poundage through water loss and crapping.

There's no point in losing water weight at a sauna or whatever several days before your weigh in. You'll just put the water weight back on again, and if you don't drink, you're heading for the hospital. Losing water weight is something you do immediately before your weigh in, not several days before.

Some people have several pounds of fecal matter in their intestines, a good laxitive before your weigh in might make you lose a few pounds. If your pooper system is healthy though, you won't lose much at all because it will be pretty clear anyway. Again, this is something you do shortly before your weigh in, if you do it a few days before you'll put some of the weight back on.

If you're doing this to make weight for a fight you should have left yourself more time. This kind of thing should be done more gradually. You're probably screwed.
