sup /fit/,I just came back from the gym. Did some cardio (non-HIIT this time). While I was doing cardio I could see the power cages and squat racks.No one went below parallel except for one guy.This same guy was doing squats for half an hour. Just squats. Then he started deadlifts, I left after his 3rd set of those.While he was doing squatz, he was doing a pyramid type routine.He did 10 sets of 3 reps each.First 5 sets were squatz where he had the barbell on his traps and while he went down for the squat he raised his arms up (kind of like overhead press) and he held them liek that until he ended the rep, then put them back on his traps again.What is that called?Then he progressively added weight and continued to do 5 more sets of 3 reps.Is this a good way to work out?Comment too long.
