To anyone who has tried isometric training: How safe is it for your back?The program I'm trying now calls for isometric dead lifts and when I was trying them, I felt a lot more pressure in my lower back than I thought I should have, even though I kept my back as straight as possible. I don't have any leftover pain or soreness but I'm still concerned about it. Advice? Stories?Pic animooted for your pleasure

you sure your stance was correct? if you've got pain in your lower back it could very well be something went wrong with posture
