Crunches Anonymous
Is it best to do crunches slow or fast? like 1 2 3 hold, then you rest, then do 2 2 3 hold rest. Or just slam them out ONE TWO THREE FOUR.
Picture related (it is supposed to be "the pub" from Safeway which is roast beef, grilled onions, blue cheese honey mustard and lettuce. but instead they gave me this shitty chicken sandwich thing with tomato and blue cheese, assholes.)

slam them out as it is HIIT

crunchs are a waste of time. Do weighted situps.

Form is really important when doing any exercise. You will make it more intense if you go slowly and focus on form.

actually both versions (slow or fast) suck

because crunches are fail and are quite possibly the most useless, least transferable to everyday tasks, and most likely to contribute to postural dysfunction of almost any exercise.

you want strong abs? squat and deadlift. follow any gymnast routines (attn 'bw only crowd')

something i read put crunches like this:
if you keep bending a credit card back and forth eventually it's going to break.

whether or not the spine is the exact same way , it made me decide to quit bending my back while working my core.
