I'm a typical /v/ and /a/ user which says a lot about my level of health.

Today I joined the campus Taekwondo club and almost passed out after 5 minutes of running and ended up throwing up for 10 minutes.

What are good excersizes for making that not happen?

Running, until you like it.

Me too, but that doesn't say anything about my health...

Dude. First day of my powerfit class, we did 10 laps around the track as a warm up (I thought we were done and I was happy I made it, but fuck) then we had to run 2 more miles. When I got back to the locker room I fucking projectile vomited after drinking some water. Only happened to me the first day, and I was fine after that.Your body just needs to get used to the stress man, I guarantee you if you stick it out you'll be fine.

lose the sterotypes and start conditioning yourself. that means eating right and mantaining a workout that has a profound effect on your heartrate. jumprope, jumpingjacks, pushups till you fail, situps till you fail.

if you honestly lasted only 5mins and then threw up for 10 you need to do more then just attend that class. but you wont, so just give up right now.

Get your ass right back to the dojo.

Also, if you are new to high intensity (or at least high relative to your current level) exercise then you may have been unaware of the dangers of eating soon before exercise.

Note that it depends on WHAT you ate pretty significantly. The only times I've ever barfed during or after exercise have been after eating bagels. Which is odd because that's what they ALWAYS give away at fun runs and the like.

The best thing you can do for yourself is stay away from heavy or big meals 2 hours before Taekwondo, drink a lot of water, and go back. If the workouts are at an intensity level so high it makes you want to vomit then you've found a good taekwondo club.

I made some posts about other martial arts in this thread (http://zip.4chan.org/fit/res/133551.html) If you're looking for a lower intensity martial art you might consider others.

You threw up. Since you're a whale that would be a good thing. Go COLD TURKEY. Eat nothing but lentils and cottage cheese for both of those foods are high protein, low calorie foods. and do lots of cardiovascular exercises to get your heart rate up. This will lower your blood pressure and improve circulation.

Don't listen to these faggots. Start doing more tae kwon do and you won't get tired after some months.
