Hey /fit/. I'm going into my 4th week of working out, gradually stepping up the intensity each week. Anyway, in addition to losing fat and gaining muscle, I also want to gain some more flexibility. What are some good exercises to increase all around flexibility? I already stretch before and after each workout. I'm a male by the way.

Not OP but I have a question about Yoga...

There's a bikram yoga studio down the road, and I was seriously thinking about checking it out. I'm not looking at learning all the Hindu history and names and everything (like the yoga class I took through school) but I would love to be a lot more flexible. Should I take a look into this studio? Or should I stick with on-campus classes (I mean sessions without the damn Hare Krishna teacher)

does yoga make you lose weight??
>> Spoony.Commie
No, yoga is ineffective for losing weight, at least compared to weights, and then cardio. It may be good for you, it may make you feel good, it may make you more flexible, but it's not the best use of your time. Also, don't stretch before your workouts; doing so weakens the muscle temporarily. Do active stretches if anything.
