Trying to build muscle and lose fat at the same time is very hard to do, and not time efficient. If you bulked one month, that is eating a lot trying to gain mass, then the next month changed your diet and exercise to cutting the fat while keeping the muscle, you would be stronger and leaner than if you had spent two months trying to build muscle and lose fat at once.
