hey /fit/ i'm male 6'1 about 200 lbs looking to lose some weight.. but honestly i don't know where to start.. obviously a diet and shit but what else and what to do for a diet? I've never actually tried to lose weight before.. right now i've got a bit of a gut (maybe more than a bit?) .. i sit in front of my computer all day an eat a lot of junk food. rarely do i get out. i figured i would start eating better, ie less junk food for starter and start running on teh treadmill we have in the basement... any advince /fit/

also.. im pretty unmotivated to do things.. not sure if i'm depressed or something due to being a fucking fag lurking 4chan but im trying to become more motivated (theres a girl)

If you fail with the girl will you fail at getting /fit/? Do it for her, but for yourself as well. As for a diet, use common sense. If its made of sugar, or is processed, its probably bad for you. Make it a habit of eating healthy 80% of the time, and it becomes a lifestyle. Working out always helps with depression, cardio or lifting. If you are interested in lifting, google starting strength wiki as many on /fit/ will suggest. Start out light, dont burnout. GL dude!

30 min walks
10kg dumbells
30 min excercise bike
60kg chest press machine

worked for me took it slow and easy, now im fit and toned.

Eat healthy shit, and don't over eat. Get some fucking exercise, pushups, pullups, dips, squats that kinda shit (Fatter you are the more effective bodyweight exercise is lol). And do the exercises all the time, between doing other things, anytime you have a free minute. Schedule shit is boring. Go run and shit. Basically don't sit on your ass in front of a computer all day eating junk.

You couldn't possibly be failing harder. First of all, the girl that there is doesn't give a shit about your body. The issue is that you're a faggot with colossal confidence issues, and possibly also no personality. Fitness is great and all, but you deserve fair warning that it has nothing to do with your problems in life.
