So I got that peanut butter that has oil on the top (pic is the same brand too). Every two tablespoons has 210 calories.

Now, if I empty out the oil, how many calories do you think will be decreased?

That's not the best manner in which to lose weight.

Counting calories is good, but this is excessive.

Eat your delicious peanut butter and jelly sandwich and then hit the gym.

Or hit the gym and then eat the sandwich as soon as you are done lifting weights.

Look it up.

Peanut oil is good, friendly oil. And peanut butter is delicious. As long as you get the good stuff that's just peanuts and salt.

nooooooooo! the oil on top is supposed to be mixed in with the peanut butter, this just means you bought good peanut butter without all the preservatives.

tl;dr mix oil up with the rest

The oil is supposed to be mixed in dipshit. It's just natural separation of the peanuts, since it's nothing but smashed peanuts ( and maybe salt).

Stir it back in and stick it in the fridge so it wont separate again. If you pour that oil out the peanut butter will become dry and shitty tasting.

By the way, pretty much all peanut butter has around 200 calories per 2 tblsp. Sometimes more if you buy the really sweet peanut butters.

I wish I knew whose bright idea it was to add HFCS and sugar to peanut butter so I could shoot 'em. I also want to hang the retard who put hydrogenated oils in peanut butter just so people didn't have to stir their peanut butter anymore. Hay guyz, lets kill everyone with trans fat so they dont have to stir a knife or spoon for 3 seconds.

You wanna know who put hydrogenated oils in peanut butter? A friggin genius, that's who.

Someone who knew that they could use cheap, unhealty ingredients in the product and market it to fat, lazy people who want all the work done for them. As much as I hate those people, I gotta respect their money-making brains.

the most common message we hear is "oil is bad for you" and "eat low fat/oil". there's a variety of better and worse oils. that one's supposed to be mixed back in, it's separated into it's components sitting on the shelf.
