Hey /fit/
I'm slightly (15ish pounds) overweight and have been doing the Rippetoe Starting Strength program for the last two months. To lose the weight, while I'm lifting I've been eating 500 calories under my required BMR while keeping a 40:40:20 Carb:Protein:Fat ratio.
The picture attached is my fitness goal. It'll probably take months more, but my question is this:

Right now I'm doing the Rippetoe SS Program and am on a slight diet. How should this change if I want to reach my goal?
I see a lot of people here who talk about plateauing and assigning each day of the week to specific muscle groups. When would I or should I be doing this? When should I switch over from the Rippetoe routine to something else? How would I know when to switch over? Also, how should I be changing my diet? Eat more, eat less? How much more or how much less?

Eat more and lift until you find you can't add any more weight.

Do SS for another 4 months and EAT MORE. You do not need to split up the body at all until you reach decent weights on SS. Decent weights which you will struggle to reach unless you start stuffing in some good calories.

Worry about losing the weight after you've built the muscle... not at the same time.

Thanks very much for the advice. Some small questions:
1. How much more? I'm 5'7 and about 150 pounds. My BMR is in the 1800's, should I go up to 2500 or something?

2. What are the decent weights to be reaching in these exercises? What sort of milestones are there?

3. When in the future will I be switching from a bulking to a cutting cycle?
