Hey /fit/,

Lately I've been eating a lot healthier but I still have a pretty big sweet tooth. What are some good ways to satisfy a sweet tooth without eating a lot of junk?

Pin definitely related...my biggest weakness.

make hot cocoa with baking cocoa. Has like 15 calories per tablespoon. aslong as u don't put too much sugar it should be good.

Dark chocolate. 70% cocoa or higher. But don't eat 10kg of it in once of course. When you get an urge to eat candy, grab a fruit instead.

mangoes... they aint chocolate, but they do the trick

Just whatever it is you wanna eat. If you torture yourself with a bland diet and never treat yourself with something good you'll end up failing.

I'm not on a very strict diet or anything, just eating better. I know you have to treat yourself sometimes but I'm worried of treating myself too much. It seems like everyday I need some sort of junky thing.

Fruit and dark chocolate. And 1 cup of ice cream on your cheat days.

If you must use a sweetener, use honey instead of sugar. Better for you, +thermic effect ftw!

a little ice cream now and again can actually speed up weight loss (I mean like, half a scoop or something little). Dark chocolate doesn't have many calories in it, either. I think two fingers of dark chocolate kit kat are like, 106 cal. Also if you like fruit, I guess you could eat a lot of that. I think fruit is a rip off compared to real candy.

Berries. They're more or less why you crave sweets in the first place.

the slow churned, no sugar added ice creams are 90 calories per half cup. I get the Publix brand for like $4, shit is good.

If you want a candy bar or something, try a protein bar once... I'm a fan of Detours, they taste great.

I have a bag of small Reese's PB cups in my freezer. I eat one whenever I'm craving chocolate/sugar. Craving gone.

This is the best suggestion. Sometimes you just have to have the good stuff. There's a place by my house that sells amazing nanaimo bars, I cut them in half and throw a whole bunch in the freezer. They're only about 110 calories each.
