I was 270lbs
then in 1 year i dropped to 170( first pic)
then 3 moths later i bulked to 185(2nd pic)
now im going to cut.
What is the best way to cut without losing muscle or keeping muscle loss at minimum?

i've been doing this....i bulked up and now i'm trying to take the fat off by walking 12 miles a day or so.....the guy talks about how when you jog you burn 60% Lean body mass and 40%fat but when you walk you burn just mostly fat without burning lean body mass and yada yada....I've been eating like a pound of chicken and protein shakes with water.....raw vegatables....a little bit of fruit....pretty much only time i'm having carbs(dextrose) is with my oats and b4 and after i lift.......i think i've already dropped like 5 pounds of fat in 3 days or so....3 hours at a moderate pace on the treadmill....and a little bit of excercise bike when i am being too lazy to walk.....

DUDE. you def. should cut down to around 10% bf this time. You will thank yourself later. High Protein Modersate healthy fat, zero direct carb sources, Its called a KETOGENIC diet similar to atkins and it works. good luck

so I've been looking into this for awhile now to cut excess body fat I read that unless you have epilepsy or Diabetes you shouldn't do the ketogenic diet for more than 1 to 2 months it says its low in carbs moderate in protein and high in fat like creme and butters. so my real question how do you do this because none give you a real diet to follow. Do I just eat steak bacon and cream? I mean I want to cut down to 10% body fat and this seems to be the only way to do I I'm at 20% and I've seemed to plateaued in my fat loss and muscle gains.

meh if you get too ketogenic you just end up losing muscle mass......just walk for hours everyday until you are done and then watch yourself and you won't have to do it again......running burns too much lean muscle mass when you are already pretty low....just walk and walk and walk and walk.......i lost like 5 pounds and i'm pretty sure it was mostly fat in 2 days just walking about 40 miles (6-7 hours of walking)...no stretch marks on my arms like i lost LBM....sometimes i used to jog 3 miles in 20-25 minutes and suddenly i would have stretch marks showing on my arms......also if you go to a local frequently used jogging path you will notice the numerous guys who just walk for hours at a time.....do sprints twice a week for cardio endurance......
