Any tips on avoiding lower back pain? I stretch and do the movements correctly, but as soon as I amp up the load, my back gets fucked. I mostly get hurt deadlifing, but other lower back centric exercises will do the job. Someone recommended Romanian deadlift but that didn't help much. I've been having this problem for 15+ years. Doctors and physical-therapists are of no help. Fuck. Help?!

How about you work your lower back specifically with lower weight, working up to where you need to be?

im sure you already do this, but try to work out your back more so it can take the stain of the squats. Im sure some time of your life your performed them wrong and now your fucked. Not much i can recommend beyond that.

and no fucking gloves or straps. for some reason seeing people wear those irritates me especially when it's so unnecessary and not needed.

Try building up your abs; they work as accessory muscles to your back when you lift.

if you've had this problem for 15+ years surely you know what is wrong other I GOT BACK PAIN?

Noone can suggest an effective remedy until the problem is exactly understood.

We do have a few doctors of some kind, as well as a couple of exercise and conditioning specialists, but try to filter their advice through all the shit that gets posted.

something THIS serious can NEVER be touched unless its a clinical setting w/full diagnostic testing.

i recommend seeking a specialist. this will cost a butload, but do the full run thru. you will have to reverse 15 years+ worth of your body's adaptations to what went wrong.

also, regardless of what these fucktards say, it should be common sense, but ill say it anyways:

NEVER do ANYTHING that causes PAIN, especially concerning you lumbar spine.
