140 isn't bad. How tall are you? Obviously if you're 5'5" then that's a different story.
There are tons of web sites that will tell you what free weight exercises you can do. Your biggest issue, by far, is your diet. You have to find some way to eat without resorting to fast food. Buy some of the "healthy" frozen dinners on sale (South Beach, etc), lean chicken breasts, anything besides fast food.
