I've been reading up for a few days looking to make my new workout. From what I've gathered it seems that like bodyweight exercises are superior for balanced physique and toning. Your muscles are meant to move around the weight of your own body so I would like mine to do so efficiently. If my body gains weight my muscles should just grow evenly, and this is what I am after. I've been doing variants of pushups, squats, dips, sit ups etc. Does anyone know of any other movements I can try that do not involve any added weights? What I'm really looking for is something to widen chest as pushups are beginning to give appearance of man boobs
does pistol mean plyometric? just started diamond/staggered/incline/decline and tpushups (pictured)also squat against a wall and hold it until failure not quite ready for hand stand pushups but i'd like to include them in my next workout plan (I change routines every 4 or 6 weeks)
plyometrics is jumping onto a box usually 12"-24" high, helps with explosive movements for Olympic lifts, but I can't see how it won't help you.
V- ups for the core.
you could buy some rings and start doing exercises on them
Google gymnastics. Thats all you will need.
