Try deadlifts. They're the best muscle-builder for your back (in b4 squatz) and after a few sets of those, you'll be walking stiff as a board for a while.
I went light yesterday, pyramided from 135 to 315, then back down with pull-ups supersetted. My lower back is killing. me. But hey, straight as a board.
