How do you maintain your diet willpower? I do great on going to the gym and working out, but my diet is what falters first. Generally towards the end of the day I'll want to eat. I also get the urge to eat when bored, which is bad, obviously. I'm not obese, bf 22%, but want to drop 10% Bf.

So how do you stick to healthy foods and fight hunger and temptation?

In return, hot chick decline press.

life style change instead of a temporary effort. Learn to make healthy foods that you think are tasty and learn that food is just food and even a bite of the best tasting junk food will last only a few seconds but the time it takes you to burn it off is much much more

if you live by yourself all you have to do is stock the fridge with the bare minimum of what you are going to eat for the week. It's a little harder if you still live with your parents.

Try keeping a steady supply of cold water bottles if you feel that you have an oral fixation. It also helps to stay busy with something that will draw your attention so you are not constantly thinking about eating. Good video games help.

My problem is at work, mostly. There are bagels every morning, free lunch from take-out places, candy, chips, soda, string cheese, nuts, all of that, constantly everywhere.

I do an ok job most of the time, but lately it's been getting harder to avoid all this stuff.

I drink a lot of water as is, but will maybe up my consumption. We do buy fruit and veggies, but eating carrots and snap peas when everyone else is eating pizza and KitKats sucks.

Yeah, it is. Look into a website called Flexible Positions for some /fit/ related porn.

Personally I just keep beating myself up. Telling myself that I'm fat and ugly and weak. I've done it for too long though and sometimes I just want to kill myself.

Yeah, I've tried tough love. I usually just call myself a faggot and eat the kit kat anyways.

>>292613
Nuts aren't bad, but if you eat a ton of them they're not great calorie wise. I could eat mixed nuts or cashews or almonds all day long.

thanks.

This also helps me stay focused. I keep it on a wall of my apartment. I also dont own a fridge. If I buy food I either eat it or it will spoil, simple as that so I usually dont bother keeping food at home

I dont do it for the health factor. I do it to feel attractive. I'll keep going until I believe I am attractive. Whatever the cost is in flesh and suffering, I'm willing to pay it.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you're doing it for all the wrong reasons.

But he's doing it.

I am still trying to find that drive within myself. I'm not bad looking and have decent muscle. I'd look awesome shredded. Yet I've been at 22% bodyfat for like 3 months with no progress.

stop eating for a few days. The human body can live for about a week on energy supplements before crashing and passing out. I've done that a few times if I have a hectic work schedule or dont feel like sleeping.

oh also if you're hungry and getting headaches just down some tylenol. They will suppress it nicely.

you eat healthy throughout the day, i can say i havent had 1 hunger urge in the past half year of eating clean

you eat so much (even if you are on a caloric deficit) that you rarely feel hungry, and even then you can just eat some fruits or cottage cheese and it'll pass

that and if you have a goal no temporary pleasure is going to stand in your way of a long term goal is it?

EAT FOR RESULTS NOT TASTE
EAT TO LIVE DONT LIVE TO EAT

so what's the right reason? we're all going to die sooner or later, these days you can catch cancer from anything, and people die all the time from a variety of unforseen causes. Whats the point of working out and building muscles and stuff when it can all be taken from you in the blink of an eye?

The less food I eat the less toxins and chemicals I put in my body.

I have a lot of trouble. The leanest I'd ever been was somewhere between 9-12% BF (I think inching more towards 12%), and I felt damn lean, even though I was only one notch above "normal" or "good". This was probably the high point of my life, but afterwards I got very, very depressed and demotivated, began eating like shit, and now I'm anywhere from 15-18% and have no desire whatsoever to lean back down. Well, I do, but I just don't care enough.

You have to talk to yourself in your head and decide if you're ready to bear it, grit your teeth and just tough it the hell out. You need a high mental and physical threshold. Some guys are skinny/naturally lean cause they just don't like to eat, with the rare occasion that you meet someone with a super fast metabolism. For us hungry men, it's a constant battle against yourself.

I dieted for 6 months, went from a ridiculously high BF to the 9-12% I mentioned, and I had never worked so hard for something in my life, and it felt great. But now, I'm just too depressed and demotivated to do anything else, even outside of my body composition goals. You have to want it, it's not going to come to you. You have to REALLY want it.

OP just need to buckle down and i THINK eventually you will stop.

I used to eat sugar and fat like crazy, I changed my lifestyle to eating healthy foods ONLY.

The first month i wanted to actually punch walls during cravings but now if its not whole wheat or a healthy choice I don't even give it a second look.

Candy, soda and fast food even make me cringe for fucks sake and I used to live off the stuff.

Eat when you are HUNGRY.

STOP WHEN YOU ARE FULL. (make sure you eat slowly so you can tell before you stuff yourself)

All this mumbo jumbo about food groups etc is pointless when it comes down to it.

I eat whatever I want but only when I need to eat and I'm not afraid of leaving food on my plate if I'm not hungry anymore. Combine this with watever exercise you do and it works great.

Before you eat something just take 10 seconds and think "Am I actually hungry?"

V-Diet cured me of your dilemma OP. I'm not promoting Biotest or any of that shit, I didn't even use Metabolic Drive that much when I V-dieted, just random protein powder. But after this diet you basically change your perception of what food tastes like. Apples taste sweet now, oranges are desert, and I love salads veggies and lean meats.
