You will build endurance over time. I was the same. I couldn't go more than 2 blocks without my sides splitting at first and now I run 2 miles. Don't run so hard to the point you're about to pass out to begin with. How long have you been at this? Don't put yourself down yet. Yeah, it is pathetic but remember the feeling of this moment because you WILL change if you keep at it. It's proven fact man.
