So do reasonable workouts and work up to fucking crazy, everyone starts somewhere. :P
As for protein, there's lots of places you can go to get whey protein, whey protein concentrate, is your best bet, 60grams of that in 2 glasses of milk and you're ssettt!
If you've got a heart condition, that'll limit your calorie expenditure being able to go through the roof, hence you'll have to rigourously limit your calorie intake.
This means lots of fibre and protein, keeps you feeling fuller for longer, aswell as SOME carbs, prefferably complex, not sugary carbs, and no carbs after 3pm (simple and easy)
It's harder for vego's, but that's your choice, so I guess you gotta run with it.
For the record, whey's made from animal products, but not the meat itself, so unless you're a paranoid super-vegan, you shuold be sweet.
