I'm a retard and haven't been on 4chan in so long I hadn't heard about you guys. So, here's the deal. I'm trying not to troll or anything because I'd honestly like some advice.

I'm moving in with a roommate this summer, he's a big guy and I want to help him lose weight because he's a little short on willpower, so I'm gonna help him out. We're definitely going to exercise as much as I can make him, so that's the first good step. He's sold on the low-carb stuff, which I think is bullshit, to a certain extent. I mean, he's all about avoiding as many carbs as possible, but without carbs to fill him up, he eats more, and that's just as bad, isn't it?

So here's the deal. I'm not paying rent in return for being his bitch for a few months while I try to find a job. So, I'm in charge of meals in the form of lunches for him and dinners and the like. Is there anything I can make that would make him think he's not eating carbs while filling him up so he won't be likely to chow down on fast food in addition to whatever I make him? Or should I STFU and believe that reducing carbs will help him out?

tl;dr low-carb meals, is low-carb bullshit or not, help make fatty un-fatty

low carb can actually work (but not for everyone) as long as he's not eating MASSIVE amounts to make up for it.. and a low carb diet shouldn't ever be kept for a long period of time unless you really love heart disease

get him to exercise and eat high protein foods - they fill you up.

in short: big lump of meat on fishing pole on end of treadmill

A lot of lean meat.
Good for protein.
Chicken (without skin) and fish are good.
