so, after getting advice from the #fit channel, I went for whey protein powder. at the store, the one reccomended (economy, no carbs or fat, isosomething) was this. I was told any flavour bar chocolate tasted like ass (from #fit), so I got this one

it looked suprisingly like normal chocholate milkshake powder. I got this much in a scoop, and dumped it into a coffee mug.

All in all, this wasn't too bad. I expected it to taste like medicine, but it tastes like nesquick in water, which was suprising. I'm going to drink this once a day, and on exercise days (every other day) after my workout.

would you guys reccomend more of this , or less? My current diet is perpetually eating pears and bananas when I get hungry, leading to about 7 or so meals of single fruit unit.

I'm starting to be more aware of this, but for the moment, it is a good plateu. It's a very good comprimise to what was before (namely junk food and sandwiches).

When the time comes, I'll be ready to switch fruit to vegetables.

Except for berry fruit, fruit in general are useless. Very little in the way of vitamins.

This is what I eat every day for vitamins and nutrients. It's just about the most nutrient rich 500 calories on the planet.

You can't just eat fruit as meals. Eat fruit, but you need real meals. Have carbs (complex especially) in the morning and lunch, and save your fats for the later part of the day (though you can have them whenever). Have every meal be protein rich as well. Also, that little container isn't going to last you long. Just go somewhere that sells bulk food and buy a big bag of EAS. Flavor doesn't matter and shouldn't, you're not drinking it to exactly enjoy it. And don't let it replace food either, you should really only be using it after lifting.

also, nutrifags : please don't tell me to get more carbohdrates, I am looking to loose weight. this shit hasn't left me feeling energyless, I feel good.

Also, I'm a reforming fatty, so things need to be taken slow. I can't go from awesum tasty burgers to boiled lettuce in a day. This is working at the moment, and later, I will eat veg instead of fruit. But for now, it's protien powder and fruit.

my breakfast: oatmeal, turkey bacon, soy milk.

and then the rest of the day i'll get in more veggies and meat and maybe a low sugar candy bar or something just so i don't go crazy.

OP, put the powder into a bottle or some kind of sealed container, add milk (2-300ml), then shake it well, leave it for 5-10 minutes to dissolve, shake briefly again and then drink it. It will be smoother and actually taste alright.

what the fuck do you think fruit are, dipshit? They're carbs, stupid fuck. You're body isn't going to turn them into fat either. You're body takes excess energy (calories) and stores it as fat. It's why you need to keep carbs at NIGHT at a minimal amount, because you aren't going to be using any more energy much, be it from fat, carbs, or protein, and that insulin spike from too many carbs at night will cause your body to store fat.

Shakepros : it didn't taste bad. no, I won't use milk. If I have a leftover bottle sometime, I will use that though.

Dietfags : god. the biggest advice is to decrease energy in, and increase energy out. this means success. and i've done that.

also, I am very lazy. I have fuck all motive to cook food for myself, because, like 50% of anon, I live alone, and am a social monster (i hate people). I got no one to cook for. I haven't reached the amount of self love that makes me motivated to go "Hmm, I feel like expending effort to create a cullinary delight for myself!" Before protein powder, I ate pre cooked chicken breast from sainsburys. Before that, it was bread sandwiches and soup. Before that, it was burritos and sandwiches. before that, it was kebabs and pizza. So please believe me when I say that, for the moment, this is correct. Because goddamnit, I know it's not ideal, but at the moment, we aren't at ideal. We're at the metamorphisis, and we are changing. but I am still in the cocoon. I am not a butterfly, but I am not a caterpillar either.

Besides, I think this will help increase my metabolism.
