Wanna know the secret to losing weight and feeling great? Wanna know the way to turn those scrawny legs/arms into tree trunks? Well I have the answer for you.
It's called hard work.
It's not called going to the gym WITH A BOOK and being able to read it while you "exercise". It's not called doing 20 min. of weightlifting for "toning". And it is definatley not thinking that just "cutting the carbs or calories or fat" will work.
It is about getting out of your comfort zone and doing something about your fat ass and out of shape body.
There is a reason why there are so many of you /f/at faggots out there and so few of us /f/it tards. Because getting into a fit shape AND keeping it takes hard work. This involves removing yourself from your chair/couch and getting yourself out of your comfort zone.
Guess what, you are a 6'1 320lbs (~150kgs for you eurofags) guy and you want to lose weight. Guess what the answer is... MOVE. Get up off your cheeseburger with extra fries and DIET coke ass and move.
What's that? You are a 5'4 145lbs (?kgs go fuck yourself eurofags) girl and you want to lose your pouch and tighten your arms? Then MOVE.
If you don't have a gym membership you FAIL. If you take a book to a gym, you FAIL. If you just use the elliptical/bike/treadmill/stepper you FAIL. If you just do crunches every nite before sleepy time and then every-now-and-then do pushups you FAIL. If you have been "working out for months and see no result" you FAIL, really fuckin hard.(cont)

Here is the answer to all you /f/at faggots endless questions after motherfucking question about losing weight before school/prom/4chan panel. Lift weights and do cardio, but do them until your muscles are fatigued and your heart-rate is elevated like a motherfucker. It will hurt, it will be difficult, and you will want it to stop. But guess what, it WILL NOT get any better, it WILL NOT get any easier, but you will ALWAYS want it to stop. You just keep on going, keep lifting, keep running.
If you stop, then hey, the world needs fatties too. If you cop-out, the world needs losers too. If you keep going at the same speed and same weight and never increase, hey the world needs faggots too.
So before you lay your sob story on us about how you want to drop 70lbs. before school starts in 2 weeks try and see if you are up for it. Go lift weights/run for a while until it hurts. If you want to lift heavier, or run longer/faster then I say welcome to /fit/. Please stay a while and drink in the knowledge from other fit people. If you don't/can't deal with the new comfort level you need to maintain, then there's the door my /f/at friend. Now you know why there are so many faggots like yourself.(cont)

In closing, don't waste our time with questions about what's the best routine for a "never worked out before evar and i'm 23 tee-hee omg mybffjill". Google work-out routines you dumbfuck, try them out. If you don't like the feeling of being out of your comfort zone you know you don' t have to bother us anymore. There isn't some amazing routine that will never hurt, never make you sweat, and never make you sore or tired. Because the guys/girls that are fit, they deal with the pain until they like it. Because they realize it will be with them everytime they finish a set, everytime they burn through another mile.
We all think about why we have to do another set of squatz...How easy it would be to just go 1/4 of the way down and then back up. Why tear are legs up so much? We all think about slowing the pace down a bit...Letting us catch are breath and maybe finish a mile early. The only difference between /f/it and /f/at is one type keeps on pushing, the other yields. Which /f/ are you faggot, which /f/ are you...
tl;dr: read it fatty, you don't have anything better to do.
ps: the picture (both male & female) are shopped

This is shit. You don't have to put 150% effort in just because some idiot on the Internet has a problem with you being fat. No, you don't have to feel pain to make progress, that's just for the hardcases. If you want to be a bodybuilder, take OP's advice, but if you want to just lose a little bit of weight and get lean, then 20mins. of weightlifting and reading a book while you exercise is fine.

Run a lot per day. Long distance. Even your legs will remain small, as the muscle gained from running long distances is actually kinda' small (look at marathon runners)

5x5 Heavy Squatz
5x5 Heavy Deadlift
5x5 Heavy Bench
5x5 Heavy Shoulder Press

Follow this up with Creatine stacked with some amino acids and 1.5x bodyweight protein. Consume close to 5,000 calories per day and get 8 hours of sleep a night.
Doing this will keep you very lean and just a weee bit toned. You might pack on maybe...i dunno 2-3lbs. of muscle, which is perfect for a FAGGOT like you.

The greatest feeling you can get in a gym or the most satisfying feeling you can get in the gym is the pump.
Let's say you train your biceps, blood is rushing in to your muscles and that's what we call the pump. Your muscles get a really tight feeling like your skin is going to explode any minute and its really tight and its like someone is blowing air into your muscle and it just blows up and it feels different, it feels fantastic. It's as satisfying to me as cumming is, you know, as in having sex with a woman and cumming. So can you believe how much I am in heaven? I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym, I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home, I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage, when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. Its terrific, right? So I am in heaven.

I believe the only way to sucess is doing some SQUATS... Non?

Not everyone has a body like yours. Some people can't do nearly as much, and others can do way more than you.

Most of the people who whine about overtraining are just fat 'powerbuilder' types with goatees. Are you an elite athlete? No. And don't even try the, 'well, actually, Division 1 blah blah blah' You post on 4chan, you're not an elite athlete. If you're not an elite athlete, shut up about overtraining.

I eat a very clean diet, do 2 hours of cardio a day, 6 days a week, and work out with weights three times a week. Most fags would consider it overtraining.

But it works for me.

Go eat some cake, powerbuilder. Picture related.

Spoilers: if you spend time getting into too good of a shape you are wasting time. Other than "picking up chicks" there is no applicable use of being strong in modern society. Don't waste your time dedicating your life to this shit just lead a HEALTHY and ENJOYABLE life. Take all of that hard work and put it towards something useful like your studies or actual job.

30 minutes of INTENSE running three times a week coupled with less than 2500 calories a day should keep everyone within a healthy weight. Fat people can only exist because of gross laziness and gluttony.

Maybe obesity is gods way of punishing such people and heart disease is him giving fatties the euthanization that will end their worthless lives.
>> Anonymous
>>94143
bawwwww

or maybe some people actually enjoy looking good and just going to the gym. 1-2 hours, 6 days a week isnt hard to do
>> Anonymous
yep... they stress a greater total muscle mass through a far larger range of motion. basically, SQUATZ are the most easiest way for your body to do a lot of work at once. a lot of work = a lot of results.

but don't neglect your deadlifts either.
>> Anonymous
>If you just use the elliptical/bike/treadmill/stepper you FAIL. If you just do crunches every nite before sleepy time and then every-now-and-then do pushups you FAIL.

I lost 80 pounds (240 -> 160) WALKING 40 minutes on a treadmill every day, coupled with maybe 20-25 situps and pushups a day.

Of course, I also had a sub-2000 kcal daily intake, but that wasn't much of a sacrifice considering my exercise routine was trivial and stress-free.

those are terrible photoshops. your speech was mildly good, but you ruined it with terrible photos. what, you couldn't find enough muscle photos on GIS?

And you call other people lazy? Way to water down any message you had. You're a fucking retard.

>>93750

Do you think you're special? Lift some goddamned weights. You will not get big overnight. You will not get big in 6 months. It takes years to put on significant bulk.

When you get to the size you like, reduce the intensity of your workouts and develop a maintenance program.

I really don't know where this idea came from that if you lift a dumbell once that you become a muscle bound clod, but man, it's gotta be one of the most pervasive and persistent myths out there.
>> Anonymous
>>94624

They're basically the best exercise you can do.

They work you amazingly hard, and promote the release of testosterone, making the gains you get from other lifts even better.

Start doing them, and do them now.

A long-ass time. I did it over the course of a year, dropping about 1.5-2 pounds a week. I knew that I was a lazy, undisciplined fuck, and that I'd never stick to a workout/diet regimen unless it was relatively painless. The result was that I had to be willing to accept slower, more gradual results. Slow and gradual they were--but they were results all the same.
>> Anonymous
It's easy to feel like a badass and automatically right when you say "IT"S ALL HARD WORK" but it's really not all that difficult if you know what you're doing, it's just that a lot of people don't know what to do and their health knowledge is limited to misconceptions so they do ineffective garbage. It's no cakewalk though.

Anyways no speech from me.
Food goes in your body, depending on what it is is how it will affect you.
When you exercise, depending on what you exercise will get worked out and more muscular/lean. The harder the exercise the better. Having the muscle itself improves your metabolism because it takes the body more energy to take care of than fat.

Theres your explanation to everything.

About a year and 4 months ago (roughly) I was 240 pounds. I am between 5'7" and 5'8" ... needless to say I was quite fat.

I'm still working hard to lose weight and work out and eat right, I'm not at my goal yet but I'm getting there. I'm currently 21 years old, weighing in at about 185 pounds, and still the same height.

No easy way around it, if you wan't it, you gotta work hard everyday (6 days a week, I cheat so bad on Sundays ^_^). Running, eating right (don't bash calorie counting, try it), doing some cardio and occasional weight training helps so much.

It sucks, it hurts, and you want to stop ... but after a while you expect those things to happen and you just accept them and keep on working ... or you give up and complain that you can't lose weight. Keep it up /f/it, anyone can do it.
