dear/fit/ , I am going to my contact lens follow up today.

The first time I went I started to panic because I couldn't get the things out of my eye, and I ended up eventually getting one out but losing it..

I sat there and pinched and pinched at it, but my eye ended up getting super red and I had to quit for the night

tonight I go back to try again

am i fucked? should I give up? or should I keep trying?

I don't like wearing contacts for sports. If you get hit, they sometimes just pop out. I prefer to look like a dork and to just wear the goggles.

Well I'm more talking about like... going to the beach and swimming and stuff. I always wanted to wear whatever sunglasses I wanted, plus not have to muck about without any glasses on while swimming. Also like at concerts and stuff.

try getting laser eye surgery. It'll probably bring you to much better then 20/20 and it's semi-permanent.

agreed, but I only recommend it if the OP is older than 21.

Slide them onto the sclera and use both index fingers to get the contact out, that might be easier. I'd hate to chance scratching my eye with any other method.
