Hi /fit/ so I decided to join up with a gym about 2 weeks ago. The resident personal trainer set me up with a starting weights routine to be done 3 times a week + as much cardio as I want. In the routine he included a plank. I'm supposed to hold the plank for as long as I possibly can, twice, with a minute between planks.

Problem is, doing a plank is boring as fuck. I have to hold it for like 5 minutes at a time. What I'm asking for is something to replace the god awful plank in my routine.

Stick with the plank, if you want something else (easier) then don't bother.

I just find it really boring, I'd rather do something with some weights or something where you move, rather than lie around for 11 minutes.
