compound barbell lifts, olympic lifts, handstands/levers/planches, the only "core specific" stuff thats really any good imo are planks, L-hangs/sits/pulls, GHD situps, ab-wheel rollouts etc. leg raises/flutter kicks/static holds are good too.
thats all the core strengthening i've ever done - last night someone said the P90x ab ripper thing would tear me apart, I did it pretty quick and it was easy as hell.
tldr; train your core not your "abs", lower your bf%
