I'm taking the 2 days push/pull routine (one day push, the other pull and the next rest) and today is when I'm suposed to restart the cycle but my muscles are still sore, should I do it anyway, or it would affect my muscle growth?

Overtraining is a reality. Getting some rest will almost certainly allow you faster gains.

The chances of him over training or being over trained are pretty fucking low.

People get so scared of over training that they wind up not training enough.

OP, what's your routine look like in terms of repsxsets?

I do pyramid sets, 5 sets of 12, 10, 8, 10, 12, increasing the weight, then decreasing.
