I'm an active person and I'd consider myself in shape. The problem is my eating habits. I want to start a healthy dieting regimen but I honestly don't know where to begin.

no i don't mean eat cold turkey, I mean set a diet for yourself and never look back. It could be small at first, like 'i will never eat at any type of fast food restaurant again'

and then don't ever again

4 or 5 months later make another diet rule. like 'i will never drink a soda again'
and then fucking don't, ever again.

If you want to be successful at anything you need discipline. there have been so many times that my family would all go out to kfc or some shit and I would sit through the whole meal just drinking water, really fucking hungry and just drinking water. then I get the fuck out of there when they're done and eat real food.
