Ok /fit/, please help. Basically, I ate too little calories, I have to raise it. Monday of one week ago (not the current week), I went to a nutritionist and I only raised the calories for now by like 200-250 calories. Since that day... I have gone from 160 to 158. Why is my weight going so slow? It's only 200 calories! What do I do? I'm feeling so disappointed because of all the exercise I do a day with it barely paying off... I feel like just going back to eating less.

eat more lean meat :S?

? Needs moar comprehensible cohesion.

However "I ate too little calories, I have to raise it" - uh.. eat more? Try 5 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones. Try a protein shake.

If weight loss is your goal, cutting down on food below a safe level will not help, you will just burn muscle.

anyone else?

your question makes no sense man

Wouldn't that put his metabolism on overcharge for most of the day and defeat the point?

I'm asking for advice... I'm so disappointed and discouraged, I feel like just reverting back to eating less calories.

But I don't want to lose 4lb a month... I want something like 8 lb. I mean, if I wasn't spending so much time and getting so tired after an hour of cardio activity, I wouldn't mind, but doing all that for barely anything is very discouraging.

If you're not overweight, then you aren't going to achieve that easily. Work out harder, or deal with it.

And by overweight, I mean Biggest Loser overweight.

Because you are being so fucking stupid! I said 2lb a week was good, but you are complaining, so I told you how you could lose it faster because that's what I thought you wanted to read.

I'm a male. no camera found, by the way. note that I said I was underageb&. I come from a short family, but my doctor says I'm going to be 5'8" by the end of my growing period.

Okay... I know you're underageb&, but are you 7? 12? 16?

In any case, when you hit a growth spurt, you will lose some of that fat, but not all of it. I reccommend, if you are 16-ish, you should do something called "bulking and cutting." That means, while you are fat, you should lift weights every other day while eating a lot ("bulking"). That should build muscle tone. After a few weeks of that, you "cut" by doing mostly cardio and low weights (to keep your muscle). You will gain weight from the muscle mass, but it's good weight, so don't get discouraged. When you lose a lot of fat, you won't have as much stretch marks and flabby skin.

If you keep a good diet, I can guarantee that this will make you look great afterwards. Any other questions? Go to 7chan /fit/ and read the FAQ.

I don't really want to lift because I'm afraid of making my growth get retarded or even stop.

WELL YOU HAVE TO BUILD MUSCLE OR YOU WILL BE A FATASS FOREVER

losing about 2 lbs a week is already a lot of progress. this is the normal speed the body loses fat-weight. keep going for a month or two. did the nutritionist tell you to expect something else?

2lbs is nearly a kilo, that's a fair bit really, you don't want to lose weight too fast anyway as it can give you loose skin (that might happen anyway, but it can be sorted out)... As a lot of people here have said your question isnt very well phrased
