Calorie Shifting Anonymous
So, a few of the many "lose ridiculous amounts of weight in a ridiculously short amount of time" websites offers up calorie shifting as a method for losing weight. After researching it a bit I can't find enough on either side of the argument to either confirm of deny that it is more effective than maintaining a regular daily calorie allowance.

tl;dr Pros/cons/effectiveness of calorie shifting versus eating the same amount of calories per day.

how is this even a diet. Don't most people eat different amounts of calories for breakfast lunch and dinner? It seems like the only thing it adds that's different is sometimes an extra meal?
