/fit/,

I have some back issues/questions. I think my back is really messed up. I think I'm genetically set up in such a way that I have terrible back flexibility and range of motion, and I didn't until just recently become more physically active in my life. I'm wondering if you could recommend to me some good stretches to get my back into motion as well as a way to work out my back without weights. I think I've also injured my back, but no one's been able to tell me what I can do about it...it's like right above my right ass cheek, in the area that connects my lower back down into the muscles in my legs. When I bend over sometimes, it have pain in that area, and I can feel it stretch when I do ham-string stretches. Does anyone know what area in particular that is, and any way to help it recover or become repaired? Its been like this for awhile now.

Thanks in advance.

ask a chiropractist or orthopedist for good advice.
We can't diagnose you over the net and there is nothing more serious than your back.

why not ask a shaman or your local supermarket checkout girl for advice while you're at it

say what you want, my doc is both, sports medical and chiro and he works wonders.
Chiro is not like some mystical chinese mumbo.
You got a back problem? They know how to fix it and fast at that.

They know how to temporarily relieve the symptoms, and maybe fix a couple of the more minor problems. See an osteopath if you want to *fix* the problem and save yourself some money.

ps - Chiropactors aren't real doctors, osteopaths are.
