Upper arm pain... OP
Hi /fit/,

So I added squats to my routine relatively recently, about a month, and have been gradually upping the weight (5x5) without problems. Until, since the last week or so I've been getting pain in my upper arm muscle, as a result of squats (back squats)... nothing else brings it on.

The pain is on the inside of my arm, and is an aching bruise like feeling, hurts to poke it but it isn't excruciating. It's where the pulse can be felt, about 3 inches down from my arm pit.

I don't feel it when I do anything else, stretching my arms doesn't effect it or bring pain, chin-ups, bench press, bicep curls, barbell rows, nothing else effects it. Only squats.

Has anyone experienced anything like this before? Or does anyone have any idea what it may be? Should I rest it, or cut squats for a while? Can't afford a physio appointment at the moment and doctors here don't tend to cover this kind of thing so I'm turning to you /fit/. Much thanks.

Shameless bump to get it back onto the front page...

I have no idea, get it checked up or something?

That's sort of the problem, doctors here don't tend to cover this kind of thing and I can't afford to visit a physiotherapist right now.
