take a recovery shower after working with barbells 3-5 minutes steaming hot 2-3 minutes freezing cold and repeat 2-3 times until you feel better
get massages bi-weekly massage yourself every 2-3 days with one of those rolling things (i use tiger tail) take anti-inflammatory foods, onions/garlic/fish/omega-3 fish oil/anything high in omega-3 as oppose to omega-6 (which promotes inflammatory) sleep 8-10 hours a day if you find the pain unbearable then you might need to rest more, but if it's just sore then work through it
