Hi /fit/
I am trying to workout my oblique muscles but I can't seem to find a good way to do so. Oblique crunches seem pointless because I feel no burn doing them.
(I'm probably doing them wrong but o well)
please /fit/
tell me some good oblique workouts besides oblique crunches

hands above head, hold weights if you need, rock to one side with your abdomen, hold for a few seconds, repeat on other side, repeat

so weights above head if needed?
and about how far do I rock to to the sides?

as far as you need to feel your obliques pulling back, i've been doing this for a few months with 20kg above my head, 30 reps seems about right at the moment, experiment though

does this hurt your back in any way?

but it doesn't seem to work??
I don't feel anything
probably because I don't have obliques

turn your legs to the side. Like, lie down as if you were doing a sit up, but then twist your waist and legs so that you are laying on the left/right side of your hip. Then do the crunch.

i get on something similar to this, stand on it sideways, grab a 25 lb weight one hand, and lean over and lift myself back up x20 times for each side. i increase how many times i do it every few times or so, and will probably be increasing weight to 35 soon.

Side planks.

use the small basic situp/crunch machine with weights, and TWIST your body while leaning back as much as you can.

Basically what you're gonna want to do is weighted situps but turned slightly left or right, more turn=more oblique work.

ENJOY HAVING A HUGE FUCKING WAIST AND ASS

I rage every time I see people doing them. Pointless unless you have an injury.
