Sup /fit/ i've been training with my friend in weight liftng and he's says he's found the perfect supplement which is Creatine. I've been very skeptical of this as i normally swear by doing the normal way (protein drinks and follow a healthy diet etc blah blah) however I've been thinking would it be worth taking it or is it one of these so called little miracle supplements which do fuck all? Also any side effects?

Creatine works, drink lots of water and be prepared to look different because it sucks the water into your muscles and may makes you poofy (monohydrate, the original atleast). You won't weigh as much when you stop using it and may not have same work capacity but it can speed your gains in strength/lean muscle. There has been a lot of research going on about it in the past decade, go check it out.

yes it works, and it doesn't just make you bigger on the grounds of water retention. It allows you to train harder and get that few extra reps that can make a big difference that's primarily what it's for and it's why athletes use it.
