/fit/ I'm 6' 275 or so. I was dieting and walking on a treadmill and using a weight machine doing butterfly presses, leg extensions, lat pull downs, ect. that my mom had at her house. I lost 8 lbs in a few weeks from it, then I moved out 6 or 7 weeks ago. I haven't done much exercising other than some dumbbell exercises and haven't really been eating right. I turned 18 2 weeks ago so now I'm gonna join the local gym (gotta be 18+, it's 24 hour).

I'm mainly going to be doing cardio, on stationary bikes, and ellipticals to help save my knees from walking til I lose some weight, but I want to do some lifting too.

I don't want to do free weights until I get in better shape and comfortable doing them (inb4 machines suck, I know they're not as good). I'll start doing them in a few weeks. But what's are good exercises to do with machines to get as full of a body workout as possible? I haven't been by the gym yet to see what all they have but I'm going to do a free trial to see if I like it.

Oh my bad I totally skipped that part. I used to only work out on a machine similar to the one in that picture. Ill tell you what I did.

Chest – Bench Press
Triceps – Pull downs (on the long pulley bar)
Legs – The little thing on the bottom, lift them with your legs.
Biceps – unhook the bar from the pull down pulley and attach it to the leg thing and pull it.
Fuck im sorry I don’t know the proper names for the exercises on them I hope that helped. I doubt it did.
