Okay, currently unable to get to a gym. Weights are fucking expensive to buy online in England, unless you want to buy say a 2lb weight which is obviously completely useless.

So, advice on what exercises or rather what set of them that can be done at home and coupled with running/biking to yield a decent body without spending ages each day? By decent I mean a combination of looking okay (more the "physically fit" than bodybuilder look) and utility, strength and stamina.

Male btw, not fat, not toothpick arms but not bulky either.

Picture is not solution, unfortunately.

Get down to a Powerhouse or John Lewis. Fairly cheap dumbbells...

I'm in a similar situation as the OP. I'm not looking to lose weight, just stay fit and healthy. I am limited to sit-ups, pushups and running.

- body weight exercises
- buy from a *gasp* real store
- makeshift weights (sandbags, etc.)
- martial arts (not bad if you ask me)

How are martial arts good if you don't have the muscle to begin with?

Before i started going to the gym, I go in great shape w/o ever using weights. I just ran everyday and did pushups and situps everyday. I'd usually run like a mile or two then do a few sets of push ups and situps and repeat for like an hour to an hour and a half. WORKS GOOD MAN

why would people go to a gym for strength training if they could do it at home for free? They don;t cause you can't. You wanna get strong and fit, lift heavy shit.
