exercise prescription needs to be based on the ABILITIES and EXPERIENCE of your patient/client

in this case. find out what the individual has access to

"hey OP, what equipment do you have access to?"
"what is your athletic background?"
"are you familiar with weightlifting"

as the answers will be 'minimal, nil, and zilch'

i would recommend doing your homework on the bodyweight squat, doing lunges (long and deep), and glute bridges (http://www.trainwithmeonline.com/exercise_59_One_Legged_Glute_Bridges.html)

sadly OP, i can related. GF version 1.0 could deadlift 245 for a triple by 1.1 under my tutelage before she got replaced by GF version 2.0, who is still under these BW progressions and has a 'similar' situation, but do to lack of athletics

if you want bigger muscles you have to recruit your fast twitch muscle fibers. These (opposed to slow twitch) are bigger because theyre used for explosive movement(example sprinter vs. long distance runner, whose more jacked?) Anyways fucking squatz are the shit, but you can also do box jumps and shit to stimulate those muscle fibers. Point is you want bigger glutes and ass then you want to do 5-15 reps of an exercise.

OP I had the same problem and here's what I did to fix it.

Fire hydrant exercise:
1.Get down on all fours like a dog (wait for it...)
2) Starting with one leg, lift your leg out sideways as if you were a dog going to pee on a fire hydrant.
3) Try to straighten your leg as much as you can before bring it back down to your body.
4) Do this ten times, and then switch to the other leg 10 times. It will start to burn pretty quickly.
5) Do it for as long as you can every other day.
