ingrown hairs Anonymous
i keep getting ingrown hairs on the tops of my thighs, i even found a large one on my ass that was turning into a significant sized zit.

i don't wear particularly tight jeans, or have massive thighs, what causes this/ how do i prevent all these blemishes on my upper thighs/ass?

i have the same problem but on my arms

perhaps you're not washing well enough?

otherwise maybe you have folliculitis. though it doesn't sound as severe.

so do I. i went to the doctor and he said "that's nothing. just wash with a glycerin soap and bathe every day."

fucker also told me they were mostly scars. i've had this shit since i was 12 and the bitch ass ho tries to send me away as if it's nothing. next time i go i'm not taking no for an answer (when i ask for a referral for a dermatologist.)

OP here
i use a loofah and wash my entire body every day with soap. Folliculitis seems to just be the name for what causes the spot. are there any simple remedies, like say, using clearasil or something stupid on my legs?

those didn't work for me. maybe the wrong soap?

I assume that you are a girl and shave your legs. Then the reason is probarbly that you shave against the direction of the hairs. It get's a very smooth and close shave, but usually results in ingrown hairs, so don't do that.

I have a friend who wants to try out using Nair for Men on his legs and chest, but he's worried that using this product may lead to ingrown hair problems?

What should I tell my friend? Do you think he'll be okay?
