I did some major SQUATS two days ago, and today's weightlifting day again. Problem is my quads are sore as hell.

What's the best way to deal with it? Ignore it and load up the bar again, lower the weight, or leave squats out of my workout?

when i've been sore from squats and lifting day comes around again, i usually start light and see how it feels, most of the time after my first set my legs are hardly sore at all since they've got some blood flowing again and it will feel much better for the rest of the day.

do a light set and see how it feels.

How sore? Normal "I just lifted a shitload of weight in a fashion my body is not accompanied to" sore? Or can't walk sore?

If the latter, skip it, you're not healed enough yet. You should be sore but not really hurting.

also if you do some kind of warm up (5 minutes of jogging/stationary bike) you'll get the decreased soreness too

You should be good to go, unless you actually injured yourself and pulled something. I do squats every other day and it's fine. Take some glutamine after your workout if you don't feel like you've recovered enough.

I'm "I groan when I sit down" sore.

But since I ran my usual 3km yesterday with a little bit of HIIT in there I'm guessing I'm not sore enough to puss out.

If your muscles are sore it means they haven't repaired yet which means you shouldn't further destroy them. If you exercise while your muscles are still sore you will see less gains than you would if you let them recover, in extreme cases you will even lose strength/size/endurance
