Okay, so i weighed myself last week, decided on a goal weight, and i've beet eating great foods all week, cutting my calorie intake to 60% of my resting metabolic rate. (making sure not to go into starvation mode.) while still having a signif. calorie deficit. Plus i've been doing moderate cardio all week. Everything points to weight loss. I feel better, i'm motivated and i'm happy.... However I just stepped on the scale for the first time since last week, and i lost only one pound. ONE LITTLE POUND!??! what gives?

yeah, i guess I want moar results but w/e.

wait, OP you cut your cals below your RMR? RMR is just the # of cals you burn by doing nothing all day long. Its not a true value of the number of cals your body burns throughout the day. You may need to re-evaluate.
And yeah, 1 week is not nearly enough time.

1-2 lb is most you should lose a week... You're fucking lucky you lost anything, though. I've been plateauing for two fucking weeks now and damn depressed.

op here ...yeah, my body burns about 3500 cals while just doing nothing all day. i eat about 2000 cals a day. add cardio onto that. maybe i should eat more.

nobodies BMR is that high.

Unless you weight like 350lbs or something.

plateauing = adaptation. let yourself go one day a week, switch up your exercises, eat different foods.
