Sup /fit/fags. This is a googled image of basically what my gut looks like, which I've never been pleased with. I'm 5'11" and I weight fluvtuates between 220-225. Suggest for methods on how to lose some, because I know you have nothing better to do with your time.

As far as weights go, I have one dumbell with about 50 lbs of interchangable weights which I know is next to nothing, but I'm not really looking to put on muscle just yet. I DO have a (rather long) jumprope and a resistance thing which I have no clue how to use. What I really need is some home workouts I can do with the minimal equipment I do have. I also have access to a community pool which is hardly occupied.

Maybe even a /fit/fag diet? I start days (ones I wake up in the morning) with eggs, grits, grain toast, then nothing else is really planned, though dinners are usually balanced with meats and veges. I stay away from sweets and junk food like chips, never had much of a taste for them anyways. I've cut out most all soda, I drink water and tea (with sugar). Any suggestions there?

Anything else that can help feel free to ask.

Yep, cycling's good. If you have the room I'd get a stationary bike and just cycle your brains out. Coupled with rowing, did wonders for me. Once you're closer to 200 take up jogging

Yes, you are. Building muscle uses calories. Weightlifting increases metabolism more than just cardio. Having muscle uses calories.

There was a time in my life where I couldn't do a single push up. Start with doing them either on your knees or with your hands on a countertop, table, or chair. Both of these make it easier.

For pull ups, which are also something at one time in my life I couldn't do at all, either jump start or do negatives. Negatives are where you start with your chin above the bar and lower yourself down slowly. Do enough negatives and you will soon be doing full pull ups.
