hey /fit/, I have forward head posture, not as extreme as in the pic but pretty close. people would constantly tell me to stand up straight so now i walk with my back curved slightly inward to hold my head up straighter which is even worse for my posture. I desperately want to correct my posture, has anyone else overcome this problem or similar posture problems?
how do I fix this?

I got this shit too from being slouched over on the computer too much...I think my spine grew a bit hunched over so now my neck makes a sort of sideways U shape if I try to pick my head up and look up.

deadlifts.
>> w/ CSCS + BS in exerc phys
find out how to train the

POSTERIOR CHAIN
with a side dish of FACEPULLS
and finish off with a FOAM ROLLER for dessert

then also
cease the silly benching, slouching, TV/computering all day, etc

but NOTHING you do in the gym can compensate for the posture clusterfuck that occurs during the rest of the 23 hours of the day, 7 days a week. change your entire lifestyle

I have a bit of the same problem too.

I've noticed that since I've been doing free-weight exercises designed for upperback/shoulder conditioning that my posture has improved. My shoulders aren't as hunched forward and my neck seems straighter. I even feel as though I'm standing a little taller.

Yoga might help a bit too I guess.
