burning stomach fat? Anonymous
I've been doing ab work-outs since the beginning of school and i've increased on my weight *45+25 pd plate on my stomach* but I have like a little thin layer covering them. What is there I can do besides jump rope to get rid of that fat?

Pic very unrelated

Crazy new fad called running. And to be honest 65 pounds on your stomach I mean...what's the range of motion on that, an inch? but anyways it's your diet.

Yeah, since it started getting warmer outside our weightlifting coach has been makin us go out and run 5 laps. Nah, I can bring the weight doing sit ups.

mix it up. if you've been doing weighted sit ups for an entire school year, i would guess your body has gotten used to it.

adaptive response, right? try exercises you're not ready for. overhead squats. planks with weight on your back, etc.

We just started snatch squats which i've done before so weight is about 95-100 pds. Also been doing hang crunches with 25pd db between meh legs.

Well, since you can't hypertrophy your core, and spot reduction is a myth, just lose fat if you want your abs to show up.

And mix up the ab exercises you do. I mean, working out your core is a good idea, having a strong core helps in everything, but there are a ton of thigns you can do, not just crunches

Hypertrophy is muscle growth and yeah you can nubcaeks l2fitness. OP dude, it's your diet but honestly considering what you're doing I wouldn't give a fuck. If you're doing full barbell snatches and hanging leg raises with dumbbells of that weight, the only missing element is diet. Since you need those calories for your workload....get over the six pack mindset.

Yes, i knwo what hypertrophy is, but your core has a very very small potential for growth. This is the main reason why no one was really really big abs, but instead have abs which are relatively as large as them.

Do some research before speaking.
