Does your body convert ALL unused calories to fat?

Lets say I completely binge one day. My maintenance level is about 3600 calories. What if I just in my room all day and ate calorie dense stuff like chocolate, peanut butter, and milk constantly? Like what if it totaled 8,000 calories? 10,000 calories? Would all the excess calories be turned into fat? Or would they get flushed out?
>> Anonymous
>>30592
no i'm pretty sure there is an upper limit to how much your body makes use of, like if you drink a gallon of water in an hour you'll just piss most of it out
>> Anonymous
Why would you do that anyways?
>> Anonymous
Question. What exactly are dense calories? How are they different from normal ones?
>> Beaver !D8rQiV7xz.
Eating 10,000 calories is not the same as eating 5,000 calories. It will mess up your body, and unless you're the fucking flash, you'll end up getting fat eventually.
>> Beaver !D8rQiV7xz.
>>30619

I've never heard of Dense calories.

maybe you're thinking of calorie dense foods? that's stuff like Mcdonalds, that have lots of calories, in a little amount of food, along with imparting little to no nutritional value.
>> Juggy !tr.t4dJfuU
Because I can. Sometimes I just need to binge haha

And no I'm not a overweight.

>>30592
Hey OP
I'm assuming you're incredibly hairy?
>> Juggy !tr.t4dJfuU
>>30619
Calories are calories. Foods, however, can have different caloric densities. If you take a liter of milk and compare it to a liter of olive oil, the oil is going to have a much higher caloric content.

Same thing with a pound of butter and a pund of lettuce, etc
>> Beaver !D8rQiV7xz.
>>30622

I've seen your pics, you're rather muscular.

Still though, binging is a little different from cheating. It's no fun to just down food and then more food and then even more.

I mean, 10k calories? That's not something healthy for you.
>> Juggy !tr.t4dJfuU
>>30623
No, I'm not particularly hairy. Why does that matter?
>> Anonymous
>>30627
Eating like that does make you hairy. I think you're hairy. What does "not particularly" hairy mean?
>> Juggy !tr.t4dJfuU
>>30626
Yeah, I didn't actually ingest that much. Today was my binge day, but it got me thinking how come all those extra calories didn't actually transfer over into fat. Something like 3500 unburned calories equals 1lb of gained fat.
>> Beaver !D8rQiV7xz.
>>30631

Well, if you do it once in a blue moon, then obvious;y it won't hurt you that much. And if you have a pretty intense training regime, the effects are even less.

TL;DR, you have a pretty good metabolism, at least I'd think so form your pics.
>> Juggy !tr.t4dJfuU
>>30628
Really? I've never heard of that. Why would eating like that make you hairy?

I've got some hair on my chest, but it's not dense. Arms are almost hairless, no hair on back, otherwise I'm pretty normal.
>> Anonymous

>>30638
Yeah, hairy chest.
Eating unhealthily can do things like that. It's all about hormone regulation (your diet is what affects your hormones more than anything). Here's a breakdown of how it works

Fats are converted into whatever sex hormone that you were predispositioned to make
Fat calories for males create testosterone
Fat calories for females create estrogen.

If you take in too much, your body starts creating the the opposite hormone to balance it out. So you have to eat either A LOT to balance it out, or little to not be hairy, or excersize to regulate this. You'll see fat people with tons of flush in their cheeks in their high school-college days because they've reached the "convert to opposite sex hormones" stage. But basically, the reason why most of America is hairy is because of all the saturated fats that tends to be in most of our foods. It has then become a "norm" for masculinity and such, but really, it's a type of inferior trait.
>> Juggy !tr.t4dJfuU
>>30643
Interesting. I can't make any conclusive judgment about you being right or wrong, but I do have a hard time believing you. Mostly, I have a hard time believing that America being hairy is a modern occurrence, and also that being hairy is the "norm" for masculinity only in recent times.

There are many other societies and cultures that don't have the level of fats that Americans have in their diets and yet are far hairier.

>>30653
Oh yeah? Name some. Iran doesn't count, because the men there ARE in fact very virile, and very gluttonous. How do I know? I'm Persian. Luckily I fixed up my diet so that I didn't end up like my race. Anyway. Name some. Prove me wrong.
>> Juggy !tr.t4dJfuU
>>30662
So you're saying that every Iranian that is hairy is like that because they're gluttonous? or because they're just naturally virile? And if it's because they're naturally virile, wouldn't it make sense that hairiness is a sign of masculinity then? lol

How come every obese person I meet isn't ridiculously hairy then?

your body actually converts excess calories to gay.

There is no way you eat just rice. You're definitely leaving something out. SPILL IT. Cooking with excessive oil? Maybe you're leaving out a detail that you think is minor, but really isn't?
>> RSI guy !HjbWRiSTJ.
>>30619
well... "empty calories" are foods deprived of all or nearly all micronutrients, that is almost no vitamins and almost no minerals. (white rice, white bread, processed foods, etc)

dense calories could also me nutrient-rich. it's a wonderful world of overlapping definitions
>> Anonymous
Hmm. I sometimes watch my mother make rice, and she usually just puts it in the water, drains, puts a tiny bit of oil, and then we eat. We sort of were shocked when we went to an Iranian restaurant and saw the chef guy just dump the whole can of oil into the rice. If you are Iranian, you know of the many rice recipes that exist, and we have them often (in fact, I don't remember the last time I ate just plain rice). Again, my mother doesn't really use much oil in our food at all.

I do eat fast food maybe once in a month or two, but I don't think that would make my saturated fat levels go too high at all.

I think you're just making shit up about saturated fats and being hairy.

And what do you mean by Iranians being gluttonous? I go to Iran every two or so years, and rarely see any fat person at all.
>> Juggy !tr.t4dJfuU
>>30690
Okay, so then you're also stating that the body already regulates the levels of estrogen/testosterone in your system. So if you're eating so much that you have a lot of extra testosterone in your system, which is supposed to make you hairier, then your body would just produce more estrogen, which would keep you from getting too hairy.

If you're saying that it takes a long time to reach this "convert to opposite sex hormones" stage, then all overweight males would be hairy, which isn't the case.

So at which point does the body actually start getting hairier? Diet may play some hormonal role, but I hardly think I have hair on my chest because of what I eat. Your original assumption of me being hairy is wrong too, as I don't think I'd fit anyone's description of "incredibly hairy."
>> Anonymous
>>30709
Fast food? Well, I guess with that fact, you could take into account the many different types of growth hormone in cheap meat. And I have friends and family in Iran...and I know for a fact that they use A LOT of oil :X And yeah, I know the different recipes. Some of it's pretty healthy, I must agree. Then again, some of it is not quite so healthy...I know for a fact that my statement on food and how it affects hormone regulation is true.
>> Anonymous
if you're just eating rice you'll get scurvy. enjoy that.
>> Anonymous
>>30713
Still, I said maybe once a month or two. From that, I don't see how I could get too much saturated fats.

What rice recipes are unhealthy though? I think as long as there is a low amount of oil used, any of them are good.
>> Anonymous
>>30715
It's not just rice. You'd know what I'm talking about if you grew up in an Iranian household, but yeah. Also, I eat other things, such as pasta or fish.
>> Anonymous
>>30712
Well yeah, that's where it gets tricky. There is a point right before the "too much fats; convert some to estrogen", that might make you hairy. Or then again, if you keep it up long enough, your body may stop the converting, since hairiness is something that is symbiotic with aging. I mean, I just noticed that an American-Japanese person will be huge and hairy as fuck, while a Japan Japanese person will be generally hairless and such. Same goes for other countries. I think that's pretty good proof.

as for>>30719
When it comes to oil, a "little bit" in every meal or so tends to become "a lot". Oil is something that adds up QUICKLY. When 2 table spoons of thing such as peanut butter or just plain butter contain 190 fat calories (25 percent of your daily intake of saturated fats), then oils and such will add up quite fast.
>> Anonymous
>>30723
Pasta, fish, and rice; enjoy your scurvy!

>>30736
Scurvy?
That's funny, considering I'm assuming that
not every person in Japan has scurvy...?
I think you people try to make things that aren't quite necessary into just the opposite; necessities. You can live without a heaping pile
of meat with a gallon of milk to accompany it.
In fact, it's better if you do.
You won't get scurvy from eating only fish and
rice, or else I'm pretty sure Japan would be
fucked.
>> Juggy !tr.t4dJfuU
>>30735
I know tons of American-Japanese families and they aren't any hairier than their counterparts still living in Japan.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS "A LITTLE OIL"

Scurvy is a vitamin C deficiency. You can get it through lots of different fruits and vegetables, though not really from rice and meats.

THAT'S 2 X 3, HARD TO DO, BUT THAT = 6
YEAH, 6 TABLESPOONS
OKAY, SO THAT'S 75 PERCENT SATURATED FAT EVERY DAY DUMB SHIT
WHO KNOWS HOW MUCH RICE YOU HAVE?
WHO KNOWS HOW MANY TIMES A DAY?

If it's a small amount, your body raises it's temperature to burn them off
(protip: the body likes homeostasis)

If it's a moderate amount, it goes to fat

If it's a large amount, some goes to fat and the rest comes out as greasy diarrhea.

Still produces the hormones, regardless of how it's burned. This information is irrelevant. It's simply something else that happens to the fat along with it creating sex hormones.

I DONT EAT RICE THREE TIMES A DAY
I EAT BREAKFAST
MAKE MYSELF A SANDWICH AT LUNCH
EAT DINNER (OFTEN RICE BUT SOMETIMES SOMETHING ELSE NICE)

THEREFORE

IN A CUP OF RICE THAT I EAT

I EAT TWO TO THREE TABLESPOONS OF RICE THAT HAS BEEN MIXED WITH ALL OF THE RICE WHICH MEANS THERE MAY BE HALF A TABLESPOON OF OIL IN THERE AT THE MOST.

Question, sorry if I hijack your thread or anything. But I've noticed that people who are trying to get fit generally emphasize eating lean protein, so my question is this: Can you be eating too much protein and having it go to waste, much like the calories? I've been told eating too much protein at one time will just negate the beneficial effects of the meal, but doesn't it just stick in your intestines for like..a week?

If it is common knowledge, then we'd all know it. Here. Let me find a source for you.

>Carrying excess body fat elevates your estrogen levels, and that may cause your testosterone levels to sink
from http://www.timinvermont.com/fitness/boosttes.htm

What this source is saying is that you elevate estrogen levels when you're overweight and elevate testosterone by being a healthy weight. So this means that all skinny guys should be hairy, and all fat guys should be hairless.

Unless, of course, body hair growth is genetic. Novel concept, eh?
>> Anonymous
>>31540<-- me

On CONSUMING fat (from the same source)
>If you want to raise your testosterone score, eat a diet that includes about 30 percent fat, and not much less.

So eating some fat = testosterone. Storing most of it = estrogen.

This still suggests that all ripped people should have shitloads of hair, and fatties should be hairless, which is not the case.
