Otters: way cuter than ferrets
>> Anonymous
Actually the word is "superior"

Way smellier than ferrets too... :) Otter spraint (read: SHIT) smells like super concentrated rotten fish... which it mostly is. Otters are very shy and its difficult to get close enough to observe them. If you can though - usually at around dawn or dusk at a slow-flowing bit of river - you can see them being very playful in the water.

Looking at this thread so far makes me think otters aren't superior to ferrets, but neither are ferrets superior to otters. They seem to be on an equal level of cute.

Yes, indeed...
>> Anonymous
is it possible to have an otter as a pet?
>> Anonymous
GET THE TABLE EATERS!
>> Anonymous
Possible, yes. There's a classic book written by a man who did just that. "Ring of Bright Water".

Now, is it advisable? No. But it -can- be done. Just not by you.
