>>121623 WRONG http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/180301.stm This basically says that a rapid evolution has occurred with elephants, seeing as ones without tusks weren't killed, and seeing as it was a rare mutation that occurred quite rarely among elephants, and that it usually involved that male not getting to breed, it meant that the genetic "flaw" wouldn't continue to the next generation. However, their lack of tusks means that they're the only surviving males, so they get to mate, and pass the genes forward.
There you have it, evolution.
