Lately I've been feeling that my kitty doesn't enjoy being inside with us anymore. He comes inside, eats, meows weirdly, eats, meows, then I'll finally get so annoyed that I will let him out. Yet everytime I come home he runs in the house, and then ten minutes later he wants out. Well today he brought me a live baby rat. I love him.

A stray we feed left a dead chipmunk on our doormat. Well, I thought it was dead at first. Then the poor thing moved it's leg and blinked at me. :( It wasn't really a gift I wanted, but it's the thought that counts.

So... we put the shocked, now coming back to life baby rat outside, and let it scurry away. our cat went out... and came back with it ...haha.

One of my cats likes to bring me presents, mice, rats, birds, and even a bat once. It's funny how a cute little fluff ball can be a machine of small animal slaughter. O_o Usually she tries to bring them in the house, but I don't let her so she leaves them on my 2nd story window sill for me to clean up otherwise they decompose there.

One night, she's meowing at the window so I wake up to let her in, not noticing that she's got a huge rat with her. She runs in and plops a dead rat that's almost half her size onto a table of makeup/toiletries. I pointed at the rat and told her to take it back outside, but she just smelled my hand and sat down, looking cute and innocent. -_- I put it in a bag and put it outside to put in the garbage in the morning. The cat seemed confused and offended at what I did to her present. She got all huffy and wanted back outside immediately. In the morning I found the bag torn open and the rat gone, probably eaten. At least it didn't go to waste I guess...

Every time the stray outside brings a "gift", he sets it on the doormat and stands guard over it there all day until one of us shows up. It's really cute, except for the blood-all-over-the-doorstep part.

Everytime my cat brings me something its always alive(we think hes a teeny bit retarded, he doesn't ever land on his feet). When he runs in the house with it and lets it free I have the task of catching it and putting it outside. Usually its just really big Grasshoppers, so its okay. But rodents are no fun indeed.
