Eeeeeee.

I found this guy stuck to my back. I thought it was a scab at first, but when I yanked it off, I noticed it had legs.
:< You can't really tell from the picture, but there's a tiny white spot in the middle, I think that's where it was attached to my skin.

Can someone tell me whether I should be worried or not?

only if you find bulls-eye red marks

OP here, thanks for your help!

Ew. I've picked ticks out of my cats' skin but never had one attached to me.

As for the question, a circular red rash around the bite is a symptom of Lyme disease (it will appear in a few days usually) but ticks can carry other diseases. If you get fever, flu symptoms, headache muscle or joint aches or muscle weakness within a week of the bite, it's best to see a doctor ASAP. Also, keep the tick with you so it can be studied.

check to see if you've got it's head there...cuz you can rip the fuckers body off while it's still buried there eating you..

i had one attached to my dick before...add that with watching Ticks when i was too young to watch it left me traumatized and fearful of these buggers. they don't worry me too much now...only those fat white ones scary the bejeezus out of me.

It's a tick, not a spider.

A small remarkably tough bloodsucking critter. In itself, not a big threat to anyone, but it is the vector of Lyme's Disease (also called Borrelia) which IS a big deal.

So go get yourself checked by a doctor. Easy enough to cure in it's early stages, potentially lethal in it's late stages.
