To the rabbit owners here on /an - what kind of cage do you use to house your bunnies?

this one. it has a thick plastic grate so that its probably not bothersome for the rabbit to stand/sit on and her craps can fall under it.

my cage looks sort of like this. we've got one bunny and she's a "blue" silver marten (we think. found her outside, all beat up). it hasn't got a grate that she walks on, just chips in the bottom. the door's usually open and she hops around the house. biggest cage we could find, but i'd still like for her to have more space.

My rabbit's cage is probably the same size as your picture, OP. Of course, the cage is her space, but she gets to run around the living room/kitchen area (bun-proofing is a bitch). She's never closed up unless something big is going on or if I'm taking her with me on a trip. I use a much smaller cage for travel.

Mt Bunny has no cage, we gave up on it. the entire basement is left to the bunny to hop around in. It helps that its unfinished, best of all the bunnys is litter trained (naturally is a smart bunny) so he knows where to go. I don't like keeping bunnys in cages very much, they do enjoy the bility to run around a lot.

I have a 3 level Leith Petwerks (that's their actually spelling) Bunny Abode. It's 4ft long by about 2 feet deep. They have enough room to run around and fly up and down the ramps if they want to while I'm at work.
