whats a good natural solution for getting rid of mosquitos?

I dont want to spray dangerous chemicals all over my house. What if I fall on the floor with my tongue out and lick the ground? or I try and eat one of my pillows in my sleep? what if by some crazy chance I find a wonderful girl and we have animal sex on the floor?

halp.

Get some cups and spread small cups of water all around your house before going to bed. Overnight, the water should mostly evaporate, and the moisture in the air will keep the mosquitoes from being able to stay air born for too long. Do this for about a week, and they'll have either all died of starvation/dehydration, or a great amount of them will.
The one's left over cant be easily swatted down in the next day or so.

There you go! Easy, free to kill off the buggers, although it takes a while. Keep swatting them any chance you get during the week though!
Hope you find that animal girl!

OH! almost forgot!
They're not attracted to food like flies are, they're attracted to heat. If the weather around you is cooler, try turning on a space heater next to an open window/door, as to attract them out of the house. You may also want to keep some water cups around the space heater, since the heat will make it evaporate quicker, and will affect any mosquitoes to pass through the area.
Also, set up any fan you have in the house. The more air circulating, the harder it is for them to fly.

how does turning your bedroom into an ultra humid environment kill off mosquitos that breed in ultra humid environments?

1. Rape the mosquitos
2. Come
3. ????

They're not specifically attracted to heat, they're attracted to heat plus the carbon dioxide mammals exhale.

If you can figure out where they're coming from (anywhere within reasonable distance that has standing water) you can drop a mosquito dunk, which is usually a little thing like a toilet bowl cleaner that's at least 10% Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis. It's a bacterium that is really toxic to the larvae.

You probably wouldn't want to put it in anything that's a source of drinking water, but otherwise it's harmless.

Option two would be, uh ... raise dragonflies. Or maybe get a pet praying mantis.

For biological warfare lulz, B. thuringiensis is closely related to B. anthracis, Anthrax.

Eat a match head, or if you have sulfurous water, drink it. If you have sulfur in your system they'll leave you alone. I live in Louisiana, and I can personally testify that this works.

Simple, just don't use the dangerous chemicals.

Permethrin is a very effective insecticide. It is a naturally occuring chemical in certain flowers such as chrysanthemums. It is also very safe for people and pets. Get some insecticide containing permethrin (easily found) and spray 'em with that.

Strychnine is also natural and found in plants. That does not mean you can put it in your pudding.
Some Phytotoxins are even known to cause cancer.
