WHAT IS THE #1 LIZARD FOR BEGINNERS?

i have been researching green anole's, some sites say they are great for beginners and some sites disagree

i am looking for a lizard that is easy to care for, as i have never owned a reptile, i have some money to set up a tank, and wanted to know what /an/ thought would be a good choice, i am looking for 1 or 2 small easy to care for lizards, i dont care if they like to be handled or not, and no snakes (i like them but my boyfriend doesnt like small snakes and the tank i have would be better for something that likes to climb as it is taller than it is wide)

Crested Geckos are insanely easy to care for. They don't need a heat lamp, they aren't that picky about their food. You just mist them once in a while, feed them crested gecko food and some fruity baby food, clean the tank now and then, and that's it. I've had mine for about 2 years now.

I would post a picture of mine, but they're all very blurry. Here's a random pic.
