Hey /an/ I never really post here but i've got a problem, my pet pink and grey Gallah has recently started pulling the feathers out on her chest, What's up with her and how do I stop it ?

Take it to the vet.

Well I'm not sure if you're actually allowed to have gallahs as pets <.<

It could be due to stress, let her out of her cage more or get her used to one the 'tie leg to post with small chain' things you see some big birds tied to.

She might be bored, try putting toys or even a mirror in her cage, is it big enough? she may even have lice.

1. Stress.
2. Boredom.
3. Discomfort arising from cage's current location.
4. Bizarre attempt at nestbuilding.

er... you can. They are extremely popular pet birds here in Australia, 3rd to the Budgie and Weero.

yep agree with others
Our gallah was doing that too, he was bored as hell.

It's best if you can let her out of her cage and let her walk around and play, but after we went and bought a much much larger cage some wooden toys and seed bells helped out ours to entertain himself he stopped doing it

If you can't afford a vets, run down to the local petstore and have a talk to one of the bird people there under the guise of buying a bigger cage or buying some bird seed
