Less than 1% of all bats in the entire world actually has rabies at any given time. Bats, like dogs, cats, and other animals, can CATCH rabies but they don't carry it! Bats get "dumb rabies" usually, meaning they will only attack if threatened. Bats are not rabid-prown; in fact, skunks are probably one of the most common animals to get rabies.
