For some reason I just decided to venture into /b/. In the midst of all the typical faggotry, someone posted this video:

Too bad that's fucking fake. It was done with a combination of a robotic hand and a human hand in an elephant nose. The people acting amazed are really actors.

It's CG, you idiot! The elephant trunk was superimposed onto an actor's hand

I was honestly thinking it looked a lot like a puppet, rather than CG...

On the note of things found in /b/, I would like to say given all of the intense pressure and all the crap being filtered through, /b/ sometimes acts like a clam. All the waste gathers up, some gets caught, and then before you know it, there's a pearl. I like seventeen spongebob have a happy ending day.

Does anyone have any evidence that this is a hoax or is everyone simply stating it's fake because they don't believe an elephant is capable of memorizing and reproducing a crude line drawing?

Yeah, you're right, the keepers keep drawing the images in front of them, and they learn. Thing is, everything on youtube IS fake or rickroll.

Actually the ones that paint live in a rescue center, and that's part of their enrichment activities. Most of them are retired logging elephants.
The site has some of the stuff they did themselves, and it's kinda weird looking. Mostly spots of color covering the page, they use different colors depending on what kind of a mood they're in. I can't remember the site right now, though.
