I noticed a while back that our mother cat was doing the same thing. Not so much blood on her mouth as there was saliva. I had to feed her seperately from the other ones since they'd steal her soft food.
Long story short I took her to the vet for an exam while everyone got their shots updated and he said she's got the cancer in her mouth. A tumor in her mouth. That will get bigger. And eventually she wont' be able to eat.
Take your cat to the vet. It could just be a tooth problem.
