Anybody know what kind of bird this is? I know it's African, but that's it.

It's a Knysna turaco. It's actually related to cuckoos, roadrunners and the hoazin.

No living bird is closely related to the Hoatzin.

Their closest relatives the doves are less than a 10% genetic match. The Hoatzin's relation to turacos must be insignificant.

The grouping of hoazin with Cuculiformes was a mistake based on errors and a small sample size, but has yet to be corrected in e.g. wikipedia. It's not really clear what the hoazin might be most closely related to (even the columbiform connection is poorly supported and could end up being a mistake) since it doesn't seem to be closely to related to anything.
