Hey /an/ i need some help.

Recently i was given the task to take care of a ferret for 3 days (it's from one of my sister's friends), but thing is that i know crap about ferrets or how to take care of one. Wikipedia just made me paranoid about later finding the damn ferret dead later.

Can /an/ give some tips about taking care of ferrets?

Do you let it out to exercise? Ferret proof the living fuck out of wherever it goes. Ferrets more or less play by getting into whatever they can. They usually try to eat rubber, which of course can give them intestinal blockages. So pick up things like pencil erasers, pens with rubber grips on them, etc.

Thanks. There isn't much problem since with pencils and stuff like that. What worries me is the power cables of my computer and fridge or some holes with broken glass and stuff.

Is letting the ferret out on our tiny ass apartment a good our bad idea?

They don't usually chew wires like a rabbit or something would. I'd be more worried about him getting behind the fridge and into the walls or something. He should have a fews hours out of the cage each day.
