Why don't they do this to cat threads?
Nobody think it's fun to eat cats, but rabbits are fair game. Fucking trolls.

there's a rabbit under there..

Oh I don't know.. Maybe because they were domesticated to be used for their meat and fur, eh?
>> Anonymous
>>291599
Yeah, Dwarf rabbits were bred since the 15th century for meat. Really.
>> Anonymous
>>291599
if you eat rabbit meat in excess, it really is ANYTHING but good for you. There just isn't enough fat on them to sustain a human, and you literally will go insane if you rely on rabbit meat for your meals.
And something tells me rabbits such as dwarfs, mini-lops, and other-such, were not bred to be used to eat and/or for their fur. Rabbits like Angora and Rex, maybe- for fur, but I really doubt meat. For an occasional 'delicacy' if you want to be a pretentious fag, or be a tough guy and eat a rabbit (?????), I guess you'd... go for it?
>> Anonymous
>>291623
Well, that is true if you're trying to live off them in the wild, but if we're talking about a domesticated animal bred for meat, you would probably have access to milk and butter to supplement your fat intake.
>> Anonymous
>>291623
Why would they go through the trouble to breed a Dutch rabbit, for one? Their markings a so precise, they'd be better off breeding either white and black rabbits, if they want to take their fur.
In any case, no troll is eating mine.

There is no problem in eating rabbit meat if you are not only eating it.

The problem is if you try to survive only eating rabbit meat in cold weather.

Big and medium bunnies like the flemish giant were breed for meat, the small ones for pet and most of them for fur...
>> Anonymous
>>291623
wrong. if you only eat rabbit meat (thats ONLY, nothing else) you'll eventually die because it takes more energy to digest it than you get back.
>> Anonymous
I'm not the type to go and kill for food. I'd rather someone do it for me, but I'm pretty sure for the ones that are killed for food, the people aren't expecting to survive off of them.

Also, the fur itself can also be eaten, and the skin can be used to make jerky or to create heat for the chest area (if surviving in the winter.)

The Peta picture though is uncalled for. Along with the yummy bunny.

By the way, show 'em again and I'll show you puppies and kitties that are used in many different forms, that I'm sure no one would like to see.

Keep the cute ones coming and not the horror.

oh good grief, rabbits will eat their own young if tainted (touching them when they're too young), stressed, or sick. I guess bunnies are SICK BASTARDS WHO EAT MEAT hm? Get a grip. Yes for animal rights, no for delusional hypocrisy and attention-whoring

This is totally off-topic. Why don't you go disrupt somebody else's thread? You've done a great job so far. Don't limit yourself to annoy people who like rabbits. There's a brand new cat thread. Show us how much of an internet though guy you are.

You don't think people eat dwarfs? Wrong.

>>291623
Who the hell said anything about eating ONLY rabbit? Durr moron.

>>291711
The Peta babies were already dead. I got bored. And it WAS a yummy bunny, tyvm,

>>291748
Contrary to popular belief, rabbits do NOT eat their babies if they smell like people, etc. They may eat them due to a lack of something in the diet, something spooking them, etc. Not because they smell different.

>>292016
Whatever, troll. You're not eating my rabbits, and nobody else's here rabbits, for that matter.
So, I suggest you find more luscious trolling grounds.
