I got 2 fish and I'm in doubt weather I -have- to boil the water then let it cool off or I can just pour water into the bowl right away.

Do -NOT- fucking put goldfish in a bowl. Jesus, I thought people were more informed these days.

I don't know about you, OP, but the water from my tap is perfectly fine for fish in my area. Although, you do need to purchase chlorine remover. Brands that I'm familiar with are Fritz and Chlorinex. Follow the directions on the bottle, add to water, happy fish!

I have never had a problem with using tap water for any fresh water fish actually. Also, the chinese used to take dumps in koi ponds and the fish would just eat that shit up, literally. So the toilet water thing actually has some truth to it.

You can use tap water but you need to match the temperature to water water the fish is coming from, and you need to remove the chlorine.

I'm not sure why you would boil it at all.

If you honestly couldn't find the answer to this on Google, you're pretty bad.

Buy a bottle of fucking decholorinator. Better yet, take the goldfish back to wherever you got them so they don't have to suffer through living in a stagnant little shithole.

1) Tap water is fine as long as its not ridiculously chlorinated

2) THIS IS NOT /B/ DAMMIT

I had a goldfish that lived for 7 years in a little fish bowl filled with tap water! His name was Zero.

Buy a bottle of dechlorinator, and don't put it in a bowl, put it in a fish tank, 10 gallon minimum. Don't forget aeration. Do NOT boil the water first, let it cool, and put it in, that would make the water quite flat...then your fish would suffocate.

I'm sure he was very happy having his growth stunted and being bored out of his little fish mind all day every day for 7 years.

The next puppy I get, I'm just going to keep it in a box. Convenient and easy!

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

I hate you people who can't be bothered looking up how to take care of a fucking fish.

10 GALLON TANK. Get one, then treat your water with Prime then go here and read about proper goldfish care.

You make me rage.
