Dear /an/,
What breed is my dog?

Moar dog. She's sleepy!
>> Anonymous
How sweet. I really don't know what breed, but I think she wants you to buy some carpet so she can lounge around every conceivable place inside your home in even greater comfort. :)

That's the dog breed. The rarest of its kind.

I BOUGHT HER A DOGBED, BUT SHE JUST SLEEPS ON THE HARDWOOD
IT COST FIFTEEN DOLLARS, AND SHE DOESN'T EVEN USE IT

Aww, cuddlebump.

No need to "shout". I was certain you did, and was just joking. Hence the smiley. :)

Silly dog. Why do you sleep on the dirty garmets I throw upon the floor?

Haha. Dogs know best!

Looks like a cute mutt to me. Maybe golden retriever + chow chow? Golden + some kind of spitz to get the pointed ears and that particular face shape.

My cat didn't sleep in her catbed for well over a year. Then one night, after it had accumulated pollen and mildew and had been rained on countless times (we'd thrown it out onto the porch), we looked outside to see her curled up and dozing in it. Now she's attached to it and will sleep wherever we put it.

For the months, the most she would do was sleep *next* to it. I guess it finally dawned on her one day that, "Hey, maybe I'd like to try getting in."

If you have to ask, it's a mutt.

I looked around and your dog looks most like a finnish spitz (pic). Maybe a crossbreed between that and something else?

I love those doggies ^^ They are so nice and good workers.
Plus their color is awsome.

One of the nicer mutts that exist in our world i must say.

Hell yeah, Finnish spitzes rock. They usually have an awesome personality and are quite, um, talkative. :D
"Hey, howya doin'?"
"Owwowow whooowahwahwahwhoah!"
"I... see..."

Damn, I'd like to get one, but I may have to move into a city and their 'talkativeness' isn't such a good thing in a city ^^ Also I think it deserves a huge yard to guard and where to run. So maybe when I'm older.

True, you just can't teach it not to bark. They just "doon't ha' the pow'r!" Also I don't think they'd be really happy as indoor dogs. And I think they should hunt. That's the reason I probably will never have one. Sure, they're wonderful for company and are truly loyal but I've known several and they all just seemed so happy when they got to be loose in the woods, finding prey for master, etc. Like they were fulfilling their place in the world and it satisfied them immensely.
Aw, crap, I'm getting all misty-eyed, remembering those old-timer dogs now gone. :D Good memories.

Yeah, I agree with you. It is a working dog so it should be given a chance to work too. I've been hoping that one day I will have enough time to learn some hunting, and maybe then I will have one. If I don't, well, I guess I'll just keep admiring them.
