hello. i woke up today to find my fridge door halfway open and small blood spots in the kitchen. the first thing i suspected was my cat. upon further investigation, i found my cat's left paw a little swollen. do you think she hurt her toenail trying to get inside the fridge? any reason to panic? should i just end it all? when will this all go away....

Vet. Call a vet. Seriously, we here at /an/ tricked an idiot OP to pick up a sack of black widow eggs. He said they were squishy :D

So if you want to I dunno.. look out for the well being of your kitty, CALL A FUCKING VET. Do it before bitter anon recommends amputating the paw with a wooden spoon or other nonsense.

amputate the paw with a wooden spoon.

So what was your cat getting at in the fridge in the first place? Inquiring minds want to know.

the "IM UR FRIDGE EATING UR FOODS" pic has made a lot of damage to the cats...

Might as well take him/her to the vet. Beforehand, though, squeeze the paw gently. Does kitty seem in pain? Look the paw over for wounds.

Most likely an infection. Especially with the bloodstains pointing to a wound. Take your cat to the vet. They'll fix it in a jiffy. Just be prepared to hear your cat scream like you never heard it scream before.

I would NEVER do such a thing.

Everyone knows you use rusty metal spoons to amputate. Fucking retard, lurk moar.

My kitten crawls into the fridge every chance he gets, too. I left him in there once, for like a minute. He didn't seem to mind. And he wouldn't come out when I opened the door again. He was too busy licking the condensation on my orange juice carton. >.>

If it's still swollen in 48 hours or your cat starts to seriously limp, go to a vet.
