Why are there a bunch of dead winged ants by this wall in my apartment that I rarely see?

If my apartment was full of flying ants, then why wouldn't they go further than that wall where I am guessing they came in? I would have seen them in the kitchen, etc. otherwise.

Should I leave the ant carcasses there to scare off other potential ants? Or do ants not work that way?

Ants are retarded and Woody Allen. There's no point.

Winged ants are new queens and males. They fly off and make a new colony somewhere. The males don't serve any purpose other than to mate, so they die off quickly. Same goes with bees.

Do not leave dead ant bodies. If an ant finds a dead ant, they might send others to investigate and attack whatever killed it. Not that they'll attack you, but you'll have more ants around the house.

This made me laugh. I had pictured a bunch of ants underground plotting an attack. Then bombarding the house with spartan styled outfits.
