I have two guinea pigs. The brown one is fairly timid but is okay with people petting it and doesn't squirm much when held. The yellow one is the more aggressive of the two, but it darts like mad whenever I try to touch it, even with one slow-moving finger. What do you suggest for calming/taming it?

I dunno man sometimes they just don't want to be picked up.
Maybe the only reason the brown one is so docile is because it's completly terrified and thinks you are a predetor.

I dunno my guinea pigs never minded me picking them up and stuff but I kept their cage stuffed 24/7 with grass. They were fat as fuck and ran around sqeaking all day long. I also had a dog who would run around trying to stab them with his nose like it was his god given duty. They had a lot of interaction with other animals so I guess maybe they were just used to outsiders disturbing them.
Maybe just play with the yellow one more often? Try hand feeding him a carrot. Like don't shove it in his face just hold it steady at the other side of the cage and wait.
