I'm curious about the viability of breeding mine.

He's 14 months old, and on the small end of breed standard(which is here is good). But then I start hearing about mailing sperm and stuff. Is there any market in the old-fashioned way(seems cheaper than frozen sperm from champion dogs) or should I get him snipped?

Honestly, unless you're involved in breeding already or you're in with a breed club, I don't think that you should be contributing to the overpopulation of animals, purebred or not. The main purpose of breeding dogs nowadays (especially for dogs who don't have "functions" like Frenchies) is to improve the breed.

Not a champion? Probably shouldn't be breeding 'em. Breeding shouldn't be a profit deal.

My vote: snip snip.

if you don't got papers, he ain't no purebred. if you don't pay to have those papers registered later, hes not a purebred.

lets say thats not a problem: while highly lucrative as a business, nobody keeps a stud dog realy anymore, its a hobby or a job, and if its a hobby, your going to probably loose money.
