Moths are awesome. Anonymous
Why don't they get any respect?
>> Anonymous
Because they bumble around in your face, live in your clothes and leave dusty shit when you kill them.

I recently saw some of those feathered wings around my house, believe me, they aren't that interesting and only the size of a bigger mosquito.

One of those flew into my house (North carolina) he flew around for a few minutes hitting into walls I left the door opened and the dumb bastard flew 1 fucking inch I kid you not to high, hit his head on the top of the door and flew into my hallway and behind a desk, I tried to get him out but Couldn't find him. Next day I find him crawling on my floor, so I put him outside on some of my house plants.

He died amongst my plants =(

The wierd thing is that they shouldn't be anywere near where I live.

Eumorpha pandorus

This website will help you find local species, though it is probably rather incomplete.

The families that most people find pretty are Sphingidae, Saturniidae, and Papilionidae

You should take a long sleeve shirt with your arms only halfway around and flail around like them
it is a great way to realize how their brain works!!

Moths are absolutely spectacular, under-appreciated insects. One of the many local moths in Oregon.
