Don't you ever feel guilty eating cows?
>> Anonymous
No, but I once ate a guilty cow.
>> Anonymous
I'll start feeling guilty when they stop being delicious.
>> Anonymous
Nah, but I feel guilty when I eat a wabbit
>> Anonymous
That's a bull you nigger.
>> Anonymous
No, I don't connect with cows well.

DO YOU EVER FEEL GUILTY ABOUT BEING A PETAFAG?
>> Anonymous
but that one gif of a pig being cut in half alive by a chain saw made me realize how i love bacon more than live pigs and dont care if they get slaughtered. same with cows.

I felt a little guilty about eating a cow we bottle-fed as a calf... But then I found gristle and chunks of bone in the mince, so I didn't eat it again anyway. Go go shit butchering!

We also caught a couple of wild rabbits in traps when I was a kid. They were delicious, but I feel a little guilty about that too. Other than that, any meat I eat, no, I don't feel guilty.
>> Anonymous
Absolutely not. They were raised to be eaten, and I will eat them. If humans were raised to be eaten, I'd eat them, too.
>> Anonymous
Nope. Cattle are treated really well around here. I sometimes feel a bit guilty eating factory-farmed chickens, though. I believe food animals should be treated as well as possible, even if that means we'll afford to eat less meat.
>> Anonymous
I feel bad about eating pigs because I kind of like them. I think they're cute.

Don't you ever feel guilty about sucking off bulls?

You know what's funny? If a cow suddenly went psycho and hurt/killed a human, the community would rally together and shoot the animal. But we systematically slaughter these cows on a daily basis and they don't rally up and mass murder us.

I know they don't have the capacity to think up this stuff but what if they did?
>> Anonymous
Not until the one in the pic looked at me like that.
>> Anonymous
>>252970
They would be peoples.
>> Anonymous
I more feel bad about the way we raise the cows than I do about the fact that we slaughter them.
>> Anonymous
>>252941
Pigs are also pretty intelligent. I can't help feeling that eating pork is a bit like eating dog, although I can still do the former but probably wouldn't the latter.
>> Anonymous
Cows fart global warming. It's eco-friendly to eat them. That's why they're cutting down the numbers of Kangaroos in Australia.
>> Anonymous
>>252987
seconded. there are some animals that just exist to get eaten by other animals. Rabbits, for instance. and besides, if we didn't eat the cows, some predator would, and being shredded alive by wolves is much worse than what goes on in a slaughterhouse.

I am not justifying the mass murder of anything, I am just saying that this is less of a ethical delimma that it appears. do you feel bad for eating brocoli? fruit wants you to eat it, but the plant themselves would much rather you left them alone.

that said, the conditions that some of these animals grow up in is abominable. if we are simply going to eat them, why do we have to torture and imprison them? its all in the name of our comfort and profits. I think it would be much easier on our collective minds if we knew that these animals were living their lives free from disease, predation, dangerous weather, and starvation and actually ENJOYING it.
>> Anonymous
>>253008
actually, 80% of methane that comes from a cow comes from its front end.
>> Anonymous
>>253009
>being shredded alive by wolves is much worse than what >goes on in a slaughterhouse.

while i'm sure thats a horrifying and agonizing way to die, i don't think its worse than what most cows go through.

and no i don't feel guilty about eating cows even though i think they're pretty cool.

>Don't you ever feel guilty eating cows?

no, never!

ever see no country for old men? i think i rather get popped in the head one good time than have my guts eaten out of me while alive.

Actually, it is a valid issue. See, you need to grow plants to feed cows. From the plants to the cows to people, energy is lost, make meat not very sustainable. We could feed more people if we didn't factory farm meat the way we do.
>> Anonymous
I'm a vegetarian, so I don't eat them.

(In before 100 people crying about Peta.)
>> Anonymous
no, but i do feel guilty when I fuck them
>> Anonymous
I don't eat cows, I eat steer. Cows are for milking.
>> Anonymous
A little. But then I realize how god damned delicious they are and keep chewing.

>>253229
I LOLed at this... I agree with the sentiment that if we did not eat them other animals will. Besides You can always complain about a certain nutrient source being unethical. Is it more un ethical to kill a cow for streaks or farm and harvest dwarf pines for Christmas trees (yes they are relatively dwarf tree since full grown pines can grow from 60 to 120 Feet)... Both take 2 to 3 years to grow to preferred size... So is it worse if it can moan in agony or if it can not...
>> Anonymous
Yes, of course it's worse if it can moan in agony, you twat
>> Anonymous
ur a fucking ugly cow

So if I come to your place and 'weed' every single plant at your residence no harm no foul right, just as long as I do not kill any animals for my potluck stew...

One can feel pain, one can not.
I'm not a vegetarian or anything of the sort, but stop using fucking stupid arguements.
>> Anonymous
>>253279

Now that's a fucking retarded argument. Does that mean so long as I prevent an organism from feeling pain, I can go on a murdering spree of fatal morphine overdoses? Killing is killing, regardless of whether the other organism is greater or lesser, the pain felt or not felt.
>> Anonymous
no :D thanks, cows.

thows.
>> naoaki !SuGoi1xGaY
I don't eat cows, but I wouldn't feel bad if I did. I do eat birds, fish, and cute little lambs, and they are all delicious
>> Anonymous
Wow- I saw this cow in my dream last night (only she had four horns), and than she turned into a giant Irish wolfhound.
>> Anon
Fuck no. I raised several of the sobs. I have learned to loathe them. Stupid, nasty, bastards. Only thing they're good for is milking and eating.
And I do believe, if they had the chance they'd eat you. Interestingly enough, from fellow farmers and personal experience, if they have a chance at meat, they'll take it. I've seen them gladly eat road kill that's made it to the pasture. No protein deficiency. Mineral block, pasture, grain provided. Walked right up to the freshly dead cat and licked/chewed it clean in an hour.
So in theory, if a cow/bull killed you, he may end up eating you eventually.

Cow eating a wayward chick

My grandmother had a hard problem keeping the cows away from the damn chickens. They don't even require the meat to be dead, they will gladly chomp up a live chicken.

You know whats the best type of cow?

Veal.

Man I sure do love the taste of suffering.

I did that's why i became a vegetarian but i wont press that upon you, but if you feel guilty about it it may be something you want to check into, oh and ignore PETA those ppl are dicks about it i think it's a persons choice to eat meat or not.
pic related only because if i wouln't eat a cat i wouldn't eat a cow.
>> Anonymous
OP, this cow... it looks incredibly suspicious
>> Anonymous
>>253336
Personally I have no qualms about eating baby animals (shorter life equals less suffering, right?) but there is something perverse about the way veal is grown.

Eating a cow. That's just pure evil.
>> Anonymous
I buy free range animals now as i'm ok with eating animals but not with animal cruelty. Its more expensive so i also eat less meat. one exeption is if i've been out on the piss then I will eat factory farmed chickens as I don't think asking if they do freee range keybobs in the keybob shop would do me any favours.

No. You see, I understand where my food comes from. So you go veggie, don't eat the pretty cows and piggies. Good for you. But Has it ever occured to you about where those wonderful grains and vegetables that you base your diet on come from? Just how the organically grown cotton you're covered in is produced?

Ever seen a thousand acres blasted to salt flats through too much irrigation and rice farming? Ever seen just how land is cleared to produce your food? The destroyed ecosystems? The extinct species? By the way, that computer you're typing on was produced in a third world country from petrochemicals using substandard processes that released many dangerous chemicals into the environment. The electricity that's making it go was produced through fossil fuels or nuclear power. Hell, if you're lucky it was something 'clean' like hydropower- which was made by daming and diverting a river, another series of ecosystems that are now royally screwed. Solar power? Nice try. Made in China, mate.

Conclusion: Vegetarians who don't eat meat because they don't like the taste and they object to the way the animals are slaughtered are people who have made a lifestyle choice that can be respected. People who say "Boo-hoo, those poor animals!" are brainless city fuckwits who have no idea of where their food comes from, how it's produced and what mass production does to the environment and ecosystems. Likewise all their other objects and shit.
