I've recently come into some funding and additional living space, and am now able to invest in a few pets that I have always wanted to keep. Two at the top of my list are sugar gliders and a leopard tortoise.

Are these two animal species who would live well together? I would want to give these guys plenty of space, so I have been thinking of building a large terrarium out of a room in my house. I'd like this space to be home to more than one pet species, cause it will be a considerable investment.

Any other suggestions of what animals might live well together in a large indoor terrarium?

The mods really need to start doing something about obvious trolls instead of just deleting pictures because it's getting to be a bit much.

What makes you think that this is a troll, may I aks? I don't see why a land-dwelling vegetarian couldn't live in a large habitat with a tree-dweller.

Ever heard the word biotope? How about humidity? Do you think it would be a good idea to keep chuckwallas in the same 'terrarium' as a flock of Amazon parrots?

since you seem to know so much about keeping animals, why not help answer OP's questions instead of being an internet hero? they obviously don't know fuck all, which is probably why they are asking for help, so stop being an asshole and put yourself to good use.

I don't know how feasible this would be, but hey, animals do it all the fucking time in the wild so if you do it just right it could possibly work.

First off, I'd pick two species from the same environment, that are not competition to one another, and wouldn't eat each other and are not prone to aggression or shit.

Because if the OP is being serious he's an idiot who would be better served by picking up a fucking book or using the internet to do some real research rather than going on 4chan and saying "HAII GUYZ I WANNA USE A ROOM IN MY HOME TO BUILD A GIANT TERRARIUM FOR TWO SPECIES OF ANIMALS FROM DIFFERENT CONTINENTS ADAPTED TO TWO ENTIRELY DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENTS" like an 8 year-old with no grasp of reality.

I was really thinking of designing a room-sized pauladrium for a green iguana and a lion. any other suggestions?

OP:

Although you are on the right track, trying to incorperate several compatible animal species into one nice habitat, you may want to reconsider your tortoise breed. Leopard tortoises grow to be quite large, need a lot of roaming space, and prefer to live in a more arid climate than you could provide in this shared environment.

What about a red footed tortoise instead? It prefers a more humid climate like sugar gliders, and their ideal temperatures are also very much the same.

Make sure you go and read a few books on each species to help you furthur decide if this setup will work for you and your animals. Best of luck to you!
