Okay /an/, I need your help. Lately, I've been finding very strange-lookging "cocoons" near my window, that appear to be made entirely out of lint.
Even stranger than this, is the fact there's always a little hole in it, and in it, a worm that looks like it can go out of any time it wants.
Up until now, I've just been squishing and chucking them in the trash can, but it really begins to annoy me; They won't stop appearing.

wtf kind of bug is this?

why not try to let it develop instead of killing it. you might get some butterflies.

Could be a caddisfly, although most of them live aquatic, but who knows.

Get a better picture of the worm or let one mature and see what comes out.
