Hey /a/, I need your help.

I'm looking to buy myself a pet snake for Christmas - but I want the most mallow, tame, all-round-huggable species possible.
The sort that I can carry around without worrying about it flipping out and biting into my face, you know?

Size isn't an issue. I'll be getting it as a baby(?), and i'm in Australia. If that helps any.

Sorry if I sound like a complete idiot, /a/. It's probably because I am.
Thanks~

Pic mostly unrelated.

Just realized that I forgot the entire point of this thread. :/

Just mallow snake-species suggestions, please and thankyou.

red tail boa. nice and mellow, stay a decent size.

Most pet snake varieties are mellow if you handle them enough. Don't handle when about to shed and a couple days after shedding (eyes will cloud over.) Snakes are super bitchy when they're about to shed.

Boas are awesome.

10 to 12 feet is more than most can manage.

I'd say get a rosy boa, they stay on the small side about 4-5 ft, I have no idea what snake species are allowed in Australia :(
