I have two bunnies, and this is what I feed them every day: -3 types of fresh veggies in the morning, 1/4 cup pellets -3 types of fresh veggies in the early evening, 1/4 cup pellets -Fresh hay is available all day in their litterpan- hay is very important to their digestion! Make sure that it is NOT alfalfa hay, as that has too much calcium in it. Orchard grass and Timothy are the best hays. I just get a bale of timothy every few months.
Every night I give them each a papaya tablet to help prevent hairballs. Every 3 or 4 days I give them each a little bit of Petromalt for more hairball prevention.
For the pellets, make sure that they have at least 15% fiber content, but the higher the fiber the better.
With veggies, try not to feed them high content vitamin A veggies every week. I give them romaine lettuce every week, plus an herb, and I rotate the herbs and third veggie for variety. This week they're getting parsley and collard greens. Next week they're getting celery and cilantro.
