We just got a dog, a mut but with more grey hound than anything. But... she is scared of men, and I am a guy. She is 1 year old and came from kuwait. I was wondering what are the odds of getting her unafraid of men?

It should really only take a few days to bond but several weeks for her to come out of her shell. Attach her leash to your belt so she goes everywhere you go, and give her treats when she's not pissing on your shoes in fear. Talk in a happy high pitched voice like a retard when you're addressing her (seriously), but also talk normal around her a lot, play your music, invite your friends over, etc so she gets used to her new home.

just let her take her time, the more she becomes familiarized with you the less scared she will be. My mom's dog was scared of everyone but my mom when she got her, not she's a big mush face.

It takes as long as it takes. I've worked for years with feral cats, and it just depends on the animal. Usually it only takes a few weeks of being gentle with them, and they learn that people can be trusted. Treats, a low slow voice and actions help this along.

not very likely after you fucked her
