I feel for you, I really do. But you know what? This is why we tell you people TO KEEP YOUR FUCKING CATS INDOORS. At least build an enclosure if you must allow it outdoor time.

For mourning purposes I suggest you either bury or cremate your former companion. Should you choose to cremate it, some places should allow you to keep some of the ash in a pendant-like cylinder for you to always keep with you.

pfft, darwin.
At some point cats will be smart enough not to cross streets.

you aren't OP are you?

Just because you're mad at a cars that don't slow down doesn't mean you can write sentences without punctuation. Punctuation, like brakes on a car, are essential.

Isn't that like demanding people to stay home so you won't hit them with your car?

people of legal age and of no mental retardation are responsible for themselves. Children, retards, and cats (arguably retarded children, no matter how much I love them) cannot be left unsupervised in an area like a fucking street where people will swerve to purposely hit them. Expecting a cat to realize that a car contains a being intentionally trying to make road kill out of it, and to "look both ways" is foolish, as is comparing them to "people" capable of identifying the risk.

Humans have the sense to look both ways. Some cats do, many cats don't. Also, there is no reason for a cat to go outside.

OH FUCK, PEOPLE CALLING INDOOR CAT KEEPERS CRUEL, INCOMING

When I was 7, our German Shepherd puppy got lose and I ran after him. Before I could catch up, he ran across a busy street and got hit by an F150. Luckily, he was perfectly fine (we brought him to the vet and he had no damage whatsoever). But the driver DID stop... to scream and bitch at me. It was traumatizing :S

bet your ass never let the dog get away from you again or try to cross the street haphazardly to this very day amirite? his yelling wasn't exactly justified, but understandable.

Again, my cat is just fine. There's nothing wrong with her staying outside. :)

She's 17, going on 18. If anything kills her, it'll probably be old age.

Some cats are just not smart enough to survive out doors. If you think you have a stupid cat (like say the idiot falls off your balcony and breaks its leg every time it gets out) then keep it in doors. If you think your cat is smart enough to handle him/herself or you are willing to accept that there risks then let it outside.

So does that mean OP can't cry?
