hi /an/
im planning to adopt a puppy from a local asylum in a future period.
the thing is,its autumn now and winter is approaching,so i dont know if it would be wise to adopt a puppy now or wait for spring,so it can develop a bit until next winter,or it doesnt matter?
i will keep the dog outside (and occasionaly let it in ofc),seeing as i have a big yard

Don't worry about it. I got a puppy in the winter and there was no problems with housebreaking, it's just that if the snow gets really deep you'll have to clear out an area for them to go do their business. Don't keep it outside during winter, though, especially if it's snowy.
