So I'm thinking of getting a new pet, but I have no idea what sort. I'd like something that's reasonably small--no larger than a fat cat--and somewhat sociable. It doesn't necessarily have to be furry, so reptiles and others are in. I'm not interested in cats, dogs, mice, hamsters, or (probably) rabbits. Any ideas, /an/?
Guinea pigs if you want something cute and dumb. Rats if you want something cute and smart.
>>210896Cats if you want something cute and aloof. Fish if you want something pretty and boring.
>>210903Cheese if you want something smelly and delicious. Popcorn if you want something quick and easy. Wait, is this /ck/?
ferrets stink
Cornsnake if you want something boring and dumb. Jungle Carpet Python if you want something awesome and made of win.
shitty copy pasta attempts if you want something big and dumb, decent comments if you want something small and useful
>>210893I remember one anon who had a flying squirrel as a pet. Apparently they are nocturnal, so you can leave them caged up during the day for them to sleep, and they really get attached to one owner.
What about birds? Budgies, lovebirds, parrotlets?
I think you need do define "somewhat sociable". Are you thinking about something you can pick up and hold once in a while? Something that will actually come to you for affection? Do you want something that'll stay in a cage most of the time?
Ferrets or rats!
Corn Snake, Budgie, Cat etc
