I'm getting my fire eel tomorrow. Anyone have any experiences they want to share about them?

Also, this board needs less cats and dogs and more other pets. Seriously, everyone in the fucking world has a cat and/or a dog and we don't want to see more fucking pictures of them. Thats like the other half of the internet (first half is porn).

Fire eels are cool, and they're not too hard to take care of. They do get fucking huge (length wise) if given the room. They can be shy at first and will bury themselves underneath your substrate if they can or find a tight space for themselves. They're mostly passive from my experiences so don't put them in with too overly aggressive fish. As for feeding. try live black worms or blood worms if you can. You may have some difficulties when you first start feeding cause of their shy nature. That and for the most part, they're nocturnal. Eventually, you may be able to get him to feast on frozen foods, but try feeding at night for a better success rate.
