There's no way of stopping them ;_;

I had some squirrels trying to get at some suet I had out. But this was during the summer and it was melting. So after they ate the suet, and tried to climb back up the thing holding the suet basket, they would just slide down. It was quite pathetic.

Have you tried bullets?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydLiasdJeoo a humane and hilarious way to stop squirrels from stealing your birdseed.

...though, I don't mind feeding squirrels, so I won't ever get one.

haha

the one at :24 almost had it figured out. :P

a friend of our family had this thing mounted to the side of a tree. it was basically just small rod sticking out of the tree with a ball bearing on the end. attached to the bearing was a piece of wood kinda like a 2x4. on one end, there was a weight mounted, and on the other end was an ear of corn. the squirrels would jump to get at the corn which would make the thing start spinning and the squirrels would get tossed off.

I just shoot them. 7.62x54r makes one hell of a mess.

My granddad has made a hobby out of trapping squirrels and relocating them to a gold course.

Just do that. A few hours in a cage won't hurt them.
