/k/fag here, and I could use your help. Is there any way to visually tell if a toad, yes, a toad, is a male or female? Pic related, toad 10min ago.

That looks like a frog. Toads typically have dry, bumpy skin.

Not exactly helpful.

No shit? I mean it's rare to have toads, here, I can't believe a frog would make it this far. Thanks for the insight.

Just 'cos you don't see them..

Better pic would help. They all look the same on the bottom. Gender differences will vary between species.

Dissect it and see if it has either testes or ovaries.

Thanks for taking an interest. Here's a pic of the top side. I almost wish I could keep it for the simple fact it followed me, but then again, he should be free, and he will be. It rather.

Fuck that, I don't want to hurt it, I'm just genuinely interested in it.

I'm illiterate.
Annyyway, OP, if you still haven't ID'd the frog, a region of the world and ecosystem would help. It is difficult to tell gender without knowing species. Some frogs have females that look vastly different than males.
As>>255395mentioned, what you have there is a frog. Frogs tend to have long limbs, smooth slimy skin, and are usually found in moist areas or in a body of water. Toads have very rough skin, they are generally short and stocky bodied (hence calling a short unattractive person a "toad"), and are usually found on the ground, under some sort of cover or debris, like a brush pile or bush.
Without knowing region, I would estimate that OP pic is of a female Hyla of some sort, possibly a green tree frog (most common tree frog in the lower US). IIRC throats are generally darker on males.

Nazi's actually implemented anti hunting ordnances and wished to force cats to be belled.

Listen to this anon

Most likely a female green tree frog

look for the graspers on the toad's forefeet, where he grips the female. Also males tend to be smaller. Wikipedia might help, or you can find a field guide at the local library or Google.

It's a treefrog. It's a male if you can get it to croak, otherwise it's a female.
>> /k/ikekip !!67dt4IUGU3T
Thanks for all the responses, never once croaked, or made any noise for that matter.

Eastern Nebraska actually. No major waterways or lakes for about 20 miles.

It's called a White's tree frog. I had some as pets a few years ago, and they were great. Very cute. It was probably someone else's pet and they let it go. You should keep it as a pet if you can. Just needs an aquarium (no water) with sticks and leaves and shit. They like to hang out in the upper corners of the aquarium. TAke it to your local pet store for more information
