Technically, that's not a wolf. It's Canius Rufus, not Canius lupis rufus. Wolves are ALWAYS Canius lupis with the subspecies following such as Canius lupis artoce for the artic wolf and so on and so forth. Canius rufus, the so called "red wolf" is closer genetically to a cyote than a wolf.
