Also, change your doona/blankets so they don't smell of her pee, and/or wash them with a lavender or citrus-scented wool wash.
And you know, it may just take a while for her hormones to settle down after being fixed so she might grow out of it. But I think it's a good idea to encourage her to find somewhere less icky for toileting.
Oh, and is she an indoors cat? If she's not, she may be meeting other cats outside and getting anxious/territorial, hence peeing in odd places. Indoor cats are the way to go, IMO.
