lol, another question thread.

I've seen these things in north and south carolina. They're about as large as the average person's big toe, and are colored like dead leaves. I have no idea what they are and Wikipedia isn't helping.

I took some pics of one of these emerging from it's old skin. If I were at my other comp I'd upload them. Did you know those things live up to 17 years in the ground before they emerge and shed that skin? true story
