that's scary, and sad.
>> Anonymous
Poor thing. =(
>> Anonymous
It's not sad. The cat and other cats probably don't even know his face is gone.

Awwwwww how UGHHH!

I noticed, it made me feel bad for it even if it doesn't feel any pain, so yes it is sad.

After reading the page, I'm not bothered about her face at all.
I can't help but think it would be hilarious to answer the door with her on Halloween and scare the shit out of children.
>> Anonymous
Cute, I feel sad about her

:(

I cried :(

It's not that bad, really. It wouldn't even bother me at all if they had somehow managed to insert eyelids.

put that shit to sleep.

That has to be the most disturbing thing I've ever seen in my life. Not even fucking joking.

I mean... what the fuck. That's sick, but at the same time AMAZING.
Not many animals, much less cats, could survive something like that.

But it makes me wonder, wouldn't that exposed issue hurt? I would think so without any skin and fur to protect it, and it looks like it would have a hard time breathing in general.

This is some gruesome shit, and it makes me a little sick to the stomach to look at.
But holy hell, if you can find a better survivor, I think this cat deserves like... some sort of cat version of the nobel prize in just fucking awesomeness.

PLEASE euthanize this cat....

She has a whole blog where she pimps this poor cat.
I'd say a mild case of Munchausen syndrome by proxy.
If she likes it, great. But don't go around pimping the cat for sympathy.

its not actually raw flesh... it's scar tissue... but they have to put lubricating ointment on it since scar tissue isn't as stretchy as normal skin and is prone to cracking and chafing. So, while it looks shiny and raw, it's jsut the ointment, and isn't painful. They do the same thing for human burn victims too.

Get that poor cat a toupee.
>> Anonymous
As long as the cat's in no pain and seems happy enough, no reason to euthanise. But still. Dayamn.
>> anonymous
can it even see? how does it keep its eyes wet?
>> Anonymous
>>292447
If you read the blog you'd get your answers.

Okay, to answer the question, apparently, yes, it can see. It can catch flies according to the blogger. Eyes are kept wet by artificial tears that're dropped into the eye through a teardropper.

I'm not>>292447, but I found myself incapable of reading said blog. The cutesymumsydiddumsdarling first person stye and sheer fucking dreadful, dreadful writing of the whole thing made me want to go out and beat something to death, preferably the person who writes that crap. Somewhere in all the vomit-ridden mess there's a fascinating story but...BLEH.

Pretty much. Chase's story is intresting and even has a moral, but it all is kinda buried under cutesy cute bullshit.

It's owner is apparently a chink, who lives in the orient. Why not steal some eyelids from one of the ten billion cats a day they eat? Shit, it's not like he has to feel sensation in them or move them. They'd improve the quality of his life tremendously just by keeping moisture in. 10 vets, and none suggested some kind of tissue graft?
