shedding aside, corgis are great little doggies. big dog personality in a smaller package. no more zomg huge poops and no more yapping.

agreed. for everything except the yapping.

More often than not I can't keep mine quiet. Forget about peace and quiet if someone knocks/rings the doorbell. But I'm aware that it's probably largely in part due to my not training him to keep quiet.

He's super active though and loads of fun to play with. Wouldn't trade him for the world.

You really can keep the shedding down to a minimum if you get a good brush (i picked up a furminator personally) and give'em hell 2 or 3 times a week. really does wonders for the shedding.
