I tend to foster kittens from time to time, so it was no surprise we ended up fostering the kittens that were dumped at the nearby park to die. Tully ( the one pictured) was smaller than his brother but more affectionate and lively.Turns out god had bigger plans for the kitten because he was tested positive for feline leukemia when the kittens went to get fixed. Tully will be put down after the vet is done using the poor thing as a test subject. A kitten who was so happy at my place, is going to die alone with strangers regardless of how humane it is and I'm going to miss him.
My cat lived for eleven years with feline leukemia. That whole "put them to sleep the second they test positive" is bullshit.
