Runts that turn into beasts Anonymous
dearest /an/

i write to you to discuss little runt kittens that turn into big kitties

I had one for 14 years... hold out your hand, flat, palm up, and she would fit in that space, with room to wiggle

she turned out to be a huge cat (not xbox huge)
she was around 20 pounds during her adult life... i know that some may call her overweight, but she never had health problems... she did live a happy 14 years

anyways does /an/ have cats that have began as tiny kittens and they turn into giants of the feline persuasion?

current or past cats... i'd just like to know if i had a mutant cat in my possession for all these years

stories are good too

Comment too long. Clickhereto view the full text.

Was it a maine coon cat?

no, she was an american shorthair tabby

>>118207

yes. that is a moose, in a pool

Shopped. Mooses only live in Canada, and no Canadian house has a pool.

My cat was dumped at the pet shop I worked at when he was just a day or two old. So small, so helpless, just like a little white tic tac that I had to wake up for every two hours. I had another cat come under my care under the same circumstances about a week later, and she was a little older but he kept growing and growing and she remained tiny.. it went from her beating up on him to him being twice her size and just totally overpowering her.

We've looked around at other cats and decided he's probably a maine coon.. so kinda figures he's gigantic. I've heard that he might still be growing, too. He'll be two years old at the end of the summer.

Sounds like yours mighta just been a big cat. :O

Pic related, not the right xbox though. I gotta get a new shot.

Uh... I'm pretty sure that Alaska and the entire northern portion of Europe and Asia are not in Canada, fucktard.

>>118218

awww, that's cute... as long as they get along... good for you anon for taking care of a tiny kitten and giving it a good home, it warms my heart to hear stories like that

and as for other anon's arguing in my thread, moose do exist outside of canada, even if pools don't exist INSIDE of canada

My brother has a huge cat (not the biggest I've seen, I knew a lady with a cat that outsized most small terriers) named Freddy. Freddy also has loose skin around his gut that hangs down like a lion. He is also, approximately, the density of plutonium, or feels like it when you pick him out. He was the runt.

And he gets the everloving shit kicked out of him by his aunt, who's this tiny slim slip of a cat, if he gets out of line. Also, he's the only one who will play with their new kitten, which is hilarious to watch. Unfortunately, not staying with my brother any longer, so no pics.

i grew up in New Hampshire and we'd see moose every once and awhile. they were usually mothers with babies in the spring.

my cat tiger is 35 inches from nose to tail.

I had one of those. He died fairly recently of Feline AIDs and Leukemia. D:

His name was Pee Wee, because he was in fact so small when he was born. Boy were we wrong. Most of the fat that you see in this picture turned to muscle. He was one badass cat, and I miss him a lot. :X

Right, but Mooses dont live there. Mooses only live in canada. ask them, fusktard.

Moose are in Yellowstone, too.

A) You are an idiot.

B)Also, the plural of moose is moose. Not fucking mooses. Your fourth grade education was obviously a FAIL.

What's a fusktard? And why is someone who says moose only live in Canada calling someone else that?

Obviously a troll. This is blatant sarcasm...come on, people. :X

This is Snow. He is terribly inbred. He was six weeks old in this picture, and weighed less than a pound.

Now he is two years old, and weighs about 20 or so. Yes, he is fat, but his body is HUGE. Seriously, two foot long torso, covered in muscle. His head though is tiny. He also bites everything. Fucking retard. I hate him.

It looks like we may loose snailkitten's runt, escargot, to "failure to thrive" :(

>>118783
oh noes!! can you do anything to save her?
>> Anonymous

the fuck is "failure to thrive?"

I've tried bottle feeding, but she won't nurse. I've been putting a few drops in her mouth (She's too weak to even cry), and I think that's why she's still alive. She won't nurse at all from snailkitten, despite me seperating the other kittens, and opening her mouth and shoving a nipple in. My mom (Who has fostered hundreds of newborns, and raised exotic cats at the local zoo) is coming over tomorrow, to check things out. My vet said to just separate her and let her die. WTF?

>>118816
It means they fail to grow and they die. It's kinda like SIDs or "crib death".
>> Bitter Anon !!WJLRQ1cwCyZ
Oh jesus. I said loose. What the fuck is wrong with me. /wrist
>> Anonymous !4X8vLLNDE2
lol what?
>> Anonymous !4X8vLLNDE2
>>118819
I'm so sorry. keep trying to force feed her, stranger things have happened... I've had kittens who were weak at first and thrived later
>> Anonymous
>>118823
Hand/bottle feeding her might be the only way to save her. Did you get some KMR (Kitten Milk Replacer)?
>> Bitter Anon !!WJLRQ1cwCyZ
>>118827
>>118860
I've tried putting karo in her mouth, tried plain syrup (sugar+water), different nipples on the bottle, and two brands of kitten milk (KMR and Just Born). She wiggles a bit and kneads, and doesn't even make whiny noises anymore :( Right now, she's tucked aginst my chest in a pair of shirts, because snailkitten moves her out of the nest.
>> Anonymous
>>118864
try using a syringe to feed her... obviously not the pointy as fuck kind
>> Anonymous
>>118864
also wipe her bottom like her mom would to promote pooping
>> Bitter Anon !!WJLRQ1cwCyZ
>>118199
Sorry to derail your thread

>>118865
Tried it. I can't get her to swallow, and I don't think it's okay to just jam the fucker down her throat and inject food into her stomach

>>118866
Been doing that for all the kittens cause snailkitten is apparently a shitty mom.

I've fostered kittens older than a week, but never had one just kinda waste away, and dealing with 3 day old kittens is totally new.
>> Anonymous
>>118875
There are small tubes that attach to the end of syringes that you can put down the throat. Also, squirt some in, close the jaw, rub the throat. If she doesn't swallow or suckle though, odds are she's fucked. Sorry :(
