Do the tails of animals that are living in captivity curl often? Does it mean anything? Like that killer whales' dorsal fin?pictured:Chinchilla
All Chinchillas have curved tails. It's just how they are. They can straighten them out if they feel like it, but that is rare.I've had rats, mice, gerbils and cats and none of them developed curled tails.
Shamu (the original one, they keep dying and new ones get the same name) was in a way too small tank for his size. As long as you keep a pet in an appropriate sized tank/cage they should be fine
