why would ANYONE buy a mutt? u know there like 1,500-2,500$$ for a MUTT?!?!?!?!?!? go to the fucking pound.... i bet u u can find one.. or something similar

now on puggles themselves, they are WAY to hyper, hard to train... ive met a few.. and quite a bit of those dogs were re-homed... go to the pound... dont get some inbred mutt... its the most retarded thing ive ever her

pic is of my doxie-Beagle x her name is dixie and she is the most amazing dog in the world... and i got her from a pound, i had a l"Lhasa-poo" she was 16 when we had to put her down... and 50$ when we got her, FROM THE POUND! now u go online and those dogs are stupid expensive and the money u pay for them dosnt benefit the animals like it dose at shelters...

just think about it before u do it... puggles area RUINED MUTT!!!

They never said they planned on buying one, ass. Breeding two different breeds of dogs with eachother isn't inbreeding them, either.

I've never had experience with a puggle, but I wouldn't trust this anon's shitty advice at all.

Agree.

Also, I've NEVER owned a pug or puggle, but I've never known a bad beagle. They've all been highly intelligent and obedient dogs. So I assume a puggle can't be too far off the mark.

... after making the "puggle" they start inbreeding them to keep specific trates. becouse they are a mix bred dog the way they can look varies so u get a litter that is really attractive BOOM inbred dogs!

i have been working with dogs my entire life i know about a lot of things that goes on in a lot of dog related fields

ive never met a puggle that didnt have one behavioral problem or another. my cousin has one... and hes fucking tapped. i dont know... hear what u want to hear.. i was just trying to help, but apparently im wrong whatever

on size... there a fucking mutt... ive met one that was 10lbs, i met anothetr one that was 30+lbs... u never know what u get w/ a mutt... good luck

Both beagles and pugs EXCEED ten pounds in terms of natural size, how the hell..?

what are you on, anon?

I've met two Puggles at the vets. I can't give you an exact size, but one was much bigger than a pug, while the other was around the same size as one.
I'm not fond of Puggles at all.

sorry but I agree with this guy. go to the pound, pick up something nice there. puggles are just a designer dog bred for people who want a fashion accessory and not a companion. they are really cute, but have horrid personalities.

but yes Mutt>Purebred any day, but a puggle is just stupid.

When I worked at the Humane Society, our management always had us tell people looking to adopt that mutts usually have better lives than purebreds.
In my experiance with genetics, dog's offspring always gain the best atributes of its parents. Its probably a natural thing, aiding in the progression and stability of the species.

Bleh, pugs and puggles are some of the most annoying dogs i've ever had the displeasure of living with (roommate has two, gets all bitchy about my 1 cat)

One, they have horrid personalities (they bark and bite all day long), it takes a good, long time to toilet train them (roommate got a puppy from a puppy mill last spring, and it's still pissing and shitting everywhere, but I mainly blame that on her)

two, they're prone to all kinds of medical issues, including but not limited to: Upper respiratory infections, bad teeth, heart problems, obesity, etc. That my friends, is thanks to years and years of genetic inbreeding.

Just say no to purebreeds. Not to mention, there's a high likelihood that you'll get one from a puppy mill, which, there are so many things wrong with that (plus, most dogs coming from the mills have mites).

Go to your local pound or humane society and save a life.

also, inb4 "catfag!"
I've had 3 dogs in my life over the years. 1 malamute/husky mix, a golden retriever /chow and a rott/german shepard.. I'm just not a fan of purebreds OR small dogs.

Wow, pissing contest much?
My personal experience with Puggles has been great. I have a close friend that owns one, he is certainly very sweet and affectionate. A little on the hyper side, but once you play with him a bit he settles in comfortably on the lap of anyone kind enough to let him.

I think you should spend sometime with one of the little guys before deciding, its not like the replies to your post have been much help. Good luck. =)

jesus christ, puggles are fucking disgusting ugly mutts. please go rescue a goddamn dog from the pound. this shit pisses me off so bad

I don't like puggles because their appearance can very so much. Some are hideous and some are adorable. Some look like you punched a beagle in the face so hard you shattered its entire skull, and some look like adorable little long earred/snouted pugs.

I would just get one dog or the other, not some faggot designer breed.
