Dear /an/

My dog's nose just started bleeding a couple hours ago. It seems to have stopped now. My dog is a golden retriever and is about 11 years old.

I looked up dog nosebleeds and found this

>>In older, larger breeds such as the golden retriever or German shepherd, a common cause of bleeding from the nose is cancer of the nasal passage.

Does anyone know how common they would mean when they say it is a common cause of nosebleeds :'( I'm gonna take my dog to the vet tommarrow but I'd hate to find out he has cancer.

Pic unrelated.
