Need a suggestion for a good cage for 2 rats.
Preferably not that big, since I need to keep it on a desk next to my computer. I'll be taking it/them back and forth a lot, so collapsible is a plus.

Martin's cages are good. If the rats will be running around elsewhere and wont' spend a lot of time in the cage, then it doesn't need to be too huge. For good size reccomendations, see http://www.rmca.org/Articles/cagesize.htm

There's a cheap option for a cage - get a $10 plastic container (with a lid) from a budget store usually, and then just center of the lid off, and hot glue some wire, then just poke a hole in the side for the water bottle. If you want to get creative you can add 'windows' on the side or add a second level using clear acrylic plastic. Takes about 2 hours to make, and is fully transportable in a car.
