Sup /an/.

I've got a bit of a problem. My cat, Bim, is fluffy. Horribly fluffy. As a result, he always ends up getting seeds and dirt caught in his fur. He's an outdoor cat, you see.

Anyway, he also brings in ticks. Big ones. They get caught in his fur, which is so deep and thick it's just plain hard to get them out. We've tried shaving him down, but damn. He's just too fluffy.

Anyway, what does /an/ think the most effective method to getting him tick-free would be? Is there some kind of shot or something? A particularly good collar?

get your animal to the vet for removal of any present parasites and inquire about what you seek.

I know he may "DO NOT WANT", but maybe a bath?
