Wait, what is all this shit about humans' actions not being natural? So if a non-human animal, like an ant, domesticates another non-human animal, like aphids, then this is also not natural?
Why do humans have to be so special? That's too anthropocentric; the things that humans do-- making buildings, herding, mining, creating technology, that can be seen as OUR nature. It's not like there aren't animals who do similar things. Furthermore, the term "nature" itself is abstract and human-defined. There's no distinct line between natural and unnatural, and if you think there is then it's just your opinion that YOU made up. What is natural and what is not natural is SUBJECTIVE and therefore meaningless. So anyone who uses the argument "feeding a cat a baby mouse is not natural" better provide some fucking hard evidence.
Oh, and to people who don't care about the baby mouse's pain: I hope the same happens to you. And to people who DO care about the baby mouse's pain: GROW A FUCKING SPINE. And when you do, go to a factory where they kill (read: mechanically separate) caged cows/pigs/chickens/etc.. to make pet food and then tell me they're not suffering just as much. I'd rather feed my cat single live mouse than a can of friskies.
