It's pretty much a bad idea to try to keep a bee as a pet, right?

OP here, ahaha, the Pain is what initially inspired my love for bees. I love fighting him in MGS3, he's real cute.

Too bad he controls hornets and not bumblebees...

You cannot keep one bee, you have to keep the queen and her court as well as her peasants. And they don't like to be petted.
People keep them for their honey and wax, and they work for free.

i built a beehive in the backyard two years ago and bees moved in that spring and have stayed in it since... and when it rains they cling to the stems of the big pink cone flowers to keep dry and i go out and pet their little hairy backs and they get pissed and stick their legs up to fend me off.

I kept a bee as a pet for a few days once.

It was a cute lil' thing. Real fuzzy, and it buzzed when I petted it. But then I felt bad and let it go.

Other than that, they wouldn't last long, most likely.

Bumble bees are so cute and fuzzy. Too bad about the painful stingers...

This is what The Pain should've controlled.
Giant black shiny fuckers.
