Trip Mcfagamous
So the other day my dog died in his sleep and well he has been a part of our family for years so we are planning on having a funeral for him. The thing is it won't be for a couple days as the family has to travel and I'm sure we all know that things don't preserve that long naturally. So please kindly give suggestions on techniques to preserve my poor dog. I'm not sure how my family would handle it if when they arrived that Gert was inedible, I only hope that you can help.

So that's the picture you took of your dead dog when you found him?

Wait, what?

Throw him in the freezer.

Yes, freezers are good. But so are jars and pickling vinigar! >:3

Seriously. 4chan is not the place for this sort of quietion.

why when you have a perfectly good fireplace?
>> Anonymous
well you should just cook him up now and store him in the fridge

Sorry to hear you lost your doggy, but please tell that your funeral practices don't actually consist of eating him, because that's just too fucked up. :O

4chan is exactly the place for this sort of question.

Put the dog in a big ziploc and put it in the freezer, we used to keep all sorts of dead animals like this back when we had a deep freeze. (when we finally got rid of it a few years ago there was corn in there from 1986)

This has got to be a joke. Your going to eat your dog? That's fucked up.

So you mean "The Incredibles" were actually animated decomposing corpses?

if you do end up eating this dog then I would like to see some pics of the preparation, and eating, preferably with smiling relatives.

Do what my family once did, do a viking funeral pyre, and accidentally set the neighbors dock on fire.

yeah, because the dog will totally feel it. dumbass.

You want to eat him or bury him?
>> Anonymous

It's meat. The only reason there's a taboo against certain foods is because some people are retarded with "ickiness." It's fucking food! Everything is goddamn food except waste material.

And Christians. Oh, wait...

There's nothing inhumane about eating something that's dead. It may not be entirely healthy to eat a dog that died of unknown reasons and was allowed to lie around for an unknown time, and certainly it's not normal, but inhumane it isn't (unless someone who doesn't want to partake is forced to eat too).
