something wierd going on in my neighbourhood Explosive
lately(two weeks ago) I have noticed very small insects in the air, it started on a road near my school, that was when i first saw them, at least 30 in the air, it was really scary apperantly i was the only one who saw them but i showed my sister and my friends and they saw it too, those insects are spreading to my whole neighbourhood, they are flying wihite small insects, and there are thousands of them all over, i can see them in the air outside all the time, they look like small white butterflies in large groups? does anyone know what it can be?
btw i live a distance of 3 minutes walking from a zoo.
that fly in the picture doesn't have anything to do with it by the way.

Sometimes when it gets real cold instead of raining it snows. To the untrained eye it could look like millions of little white bugs. No you know!!!

It sounds like serious business!

If they weren't white, I'd say they were fruit flies, but I don't know. Where do you live geographically?

how about lake flies?

There's something weird
in your neighbourhood.
Who you gonna call?

GHOSTBUSTERS!
>> Animal Control
I'd say you have an infestation of either trialeurodes vaporariorum or bemisia tabaci. Both are harmless, so I wouldn't be worried.

May flies have clear wings, not solid white, they also have two antennae like things coming from their abdomen....

I'd search any bug classification website and email the webmasters with that pic, those are pretty weird looking!

Those aren't moths and those aren't butterflies obviously

If they are mayflies, give them a day or a week at max. They will all be dead by then. Next year they will be back again so why not breed dragonflies and get their larvae ready for the next year.

What you should be more wary of are the Africanized Killer Bees. They will sting you and your mayflies and your dog because they are coming, coming to get you. Coming to your house, those damn Africanized Killer Bees. If you live in the cold regions, then they will wait at the border, waiting for their habitat range to spread because of global warming. Then they will come and they will get you, damn bees and they'll make love to your honey bees and those honey bees will be Africanized. Then you will be shitting bricks becuase now you have these Africanized Bees and those Africanized Bees. Then what will you and your precious mayflies do? Those mayflies will die before the bees will come. Then who will be left for these bees to sting. Then you'll post another one of these threads.
(Puts up a picture of a brownish butterfly)

You got Africanized Killer Bees.

What? I agree Africanized Killer Bees. But you know what you should be afraid of? Global Warming. Its destroying the world on a logarithmic scale and we are to blame. Soon you'll be submerged underwater. Its going to get you. Its creeping up to you. Soon you'll be posting on this forum a future thread:

these are actually white flies. I worked extensively on them back when I used to work in an entemology lab testing pesticides. The fuckers love bean and zucchini plants, they usually stay away from tougher leaved plants.
