That's a generic orb weaving spider.

They are venomous. ALL spiders are venomous. That's how they kill and eat prey. However, if you're wondering if it is harmful to humans, NO, it's not. That spider is harmless to anything other than bugs.

itt people who repeat exactly what I say with slightly different and more elaborate wording in order to appear expert.

Heck, it's got nothing to do with appearing to be an expert. It's to make the point CLEAR to dumbass anons out there.

Oh, and if you think that "exactly" and "slightly different with more elaborate wording" are the same thing then you need to have your head examined.

Your first post was correct, but it lacked credibility.

It's not generic. It's an invasive species from Africa called Crusifera (because of the Crucifix design on the abdomen). They thrive here because of the weather conditions.

We have these in Alaska. We call them pumpkin spiders. But you very rarely see the males because they are very small. This is a female that is full of eggs ^^ They are not poisonous, but will leave a mark.

Let em live. Spiders eat the bugs that are actually dangerous, transmitting diseases and such. Also, being exposed to insects and animals at a young age will prevent allergies later in life.
>> Anonymous
kill it with fire
>> Anonymous
seriously, burn it away. I would rather kill it and be safe then having it bite my kid...

Fact: all spiders are venomous.
Fact: venom kills you.
Fact: kill it, or you're screwed.

I had one of those living on my fence in my backyard one year, it was interesting to watch killing bugs and stuff. One day I saw a tiny spider (the male, I presume) doing a dance in front of the big one. I didn't stick around to see if he got laid or got eaten though.
