Mastiffs. Anonymous
Why,
Hullo Thar /an/ I've been looking into getting a mastiff someday. I've never kept a large breed dog before. The only dogs I have ever kept are a cairn terrier, two dachshounds, and a chi/dach mix.

I've been reading up on the on sites like dogbreedinfo and whatnot and I really like them.
I'm just not sure wich type of mastiff to get.
Neopolitan(spelling?) Bull, etc.

TL;DR: Talk about Mastiffs.

I wish it was mine aswell.
Female.
25'
It just died one day.
Guy who had it got an autopsy done and found that it had fatty deposits around its liver.
Other than the fatty deposits it was a perfectly healthy snake and the owner of pictured reticulated python has kept and bred many reticulated pythons before.
Heres another pic of her...

My aunt used to breed mastiff's. I love these dogs to death, big couch potatoes lol.. They only require like half an hour of exercise a day or their joints go bad.... However their life span suffers due to how big they get, from what I am told about 7 years is about it which makes it hard.

In lines of which type I cant really tell you, she had a Bull Mastiff and one other kind which has escaped me atm and tbh I never noticed a difference....

Thanks.
I've been searching aroind and reading up on dogbreedinfo and whatnot. I'm leaning more towards bull mastiff though.

At one of the local petshops a lady that used to work there had a Mastiff, it was the calmest dog I had ever met. Even wagged it's tail slow! Whenever I'd kneal down to look at a fishtank or something it would throw itself down right next to me and just beg for attention, lol.
