Big, lazy babies, ready to lay around with you until you're ready to play with them. I'm sure they can withstand the heat because they have very high endurance, but I live in a place where the temperatures rarely get above the high 80s. They're very good inside/outside dogs but I wouldn't suggest tying them up for long periods of time, because that makes them want to go after everything they can and after being tied up for a while, they'll want to get away as fast as they can and will try. Keeping it outside would be fine if you've got a really big yard or place to keep it, and plan on spending lots of time with it so that it isn't alone for too long, because mine were prone to fence climbing when they got bored, then they turned into (great) house dogs. :) Good luck though, hope you find a breed that you like.
