My mantis egg sack hatched while I was at school, and I managed to keep two of them, after I let the rest go at a park.
(There mum was a giant one that I saved; she was moderately squished, but healed fine, then died in a month, because it was December, after all.)

I did some research on how to take care of them, and I bought some of those wingless fruit flies, but my babies are just terrified of them, and won't eat. Are my mighty hunters in danger?

What advice do you guys have on this matter?

Also, ohmigosh I have babies!
I had a stupid grin on my face all afternoon when I got home.
I love these little guys. I'm going to need names for them...

You should ask a girl what to do. If all else fails try mashing up the fruit flies and leaving a few for them to eat?
