This is my recently acquired 9 year old purebred Ragdoll, Honeycreek Mystique. Or Mysti. Does /an/ approve?
yes, those are the fires of hell in her pupils. that, or she's chargin' her lazers...
nobody needs a purebred cat. but kudos if you picked one up for free.
i have a purebred siberian and he got confused with a street cat so i got him at much lower price.im still wondering to this day how in the hell that happened.
make sure you brush everyday and everyWHERE, under armpits, ass, under the neck, everywhere.Also, she's absolutely stunning; beautiful eyes. i approve.
>>176161There are people who don't know that cats have different breeds. There's 'cat' and that's about it.
A pic of my ragdoll. He's awesome
Such fluffy kitties...I can't wait to get one ;_;
>>176158I did indeed get her for free. She belonged to a friend who ended up being allergic (she had previously belonged to the friends friend, until he had to move and couldn't take her with) so now she lives with me and the previous owner gets to visit her, but not be plagued with allergies 24/7.pic related
She doesn't look impressed, I thought they were friendly? Also, is it true that ragdolls go completely limp when you pat them? I've heard it said they do, but I'm not really convinced.
Jesus, that is one pretty pussy. I dub thee Purdy Cat.
>>176668Mine does (#447). You can just pick him up and carry him around and he stays limp. It's really weird - I've never seen a cat act that way before. I can't say for any others though - he's the first I've met.
I hear they're friendlier than most cats and more, um, pliable? relaxed? Something.I like cats because they relax me to begin with, and I was thinking of getting a ragdoll if I could find one for free... is it worth the look? Or will all cats be as friendly? (I know they'll all be as adorable)!
>>176668mysti is very friendly (sometimes annoyingly so as she meows a lot to demand attention) but she doesn't do the going limp thing. she loves cuddling, but hates being picked up. not sure why. she *loves* having her tummy rubbed. which is very odd for a cat, especially a female.
she also has some other weird quirks, like she will only lay on her left side about 95% of the times i've seen her sleeping. i find this weird because she doesn't seem to have any tenderness or anything on her right side and doesn't mind being petted there. she also likes to lay down with at least one of her back legs in the air. and her eyes seem much more reflective of light than any other cat i've ever seen.
>>177047I think Marilyn Manson just tasted your cat.
>>177046try washing your hair sometime pls.
