Fish Oz !!1JAFiZR20hb
I need suggestions for an unusual fish for a 10 gallon aquarium. I was thinking dwarf puffer. Anything else work?

yeah, a bigger tank

10 gallon is too small for most "unusual" fish. Dwarf puffer would work, or you might want to get shrimp tank, or a pair of small shell dwelling cichlids, or something like Dario, or one of the smaller Killi fish.

You could get a seahorse, but only if you know exactly how to take care of it. They're not very hardy.

Not really an option, but thanks for the input, wiseass. I'm low on space, so 10g is my best option.

How does one go about setting up a shrimp tank?

Not OP, but I am also interested in a shrimp tank. I love shrimp but going to store every week is expensive.

How about a crab tank? I could go for some crab.

I don't think shrimp need anything special. I used to feed ghost shrimp to my cichlids occasionally and if they didn't get spotted right off the bat, they'd usually live pretty happily in the plants until they were eaten.

They are really cool to watch though, especially when they're fed things like frozen food, snatching bloodworms out of the water and munching on them. You could watch them digest it, basically. I'm not sure what other kinds of freshwater shrimp are available in the pet trade, though.
