Hey animal board I never use? My dog has fleas. Two treatments of vetrinatian goop and a month later he still has fleas. And apparently no one in my town does flea dips anymore.

So, I put one of those injury cones around his head and nuked the rest of his body with insecticide. They're dying in droves, and he seems fine.

Good move?

Also, should I apply this same treatment to my 30 pound cat?

Money is tight this month, and the last time I went that route I spend a fair bit of coin on something that didn't work.

What you need is a brick, a sack and a body of water more than 1 foot deep.

Perhaps you should TAKE IT EASY.

shave them both , scrub them hard and use the vet goop on places they go.

You just bought some random insecticide not meant for pets? Sounds like you poisoned him, regardless of the cone.
Also, flea-bomb your house. Just because they're off him doesn't mean they aren't in your carpets and sofa waiting to get back on him. You can buy flea-bomb in the store, but it requires not being in your house for a long time.
And for fucks sake, don't light a match while it's going cause your house will esplode.
