Sup /an/.
I've got some cat and cat related questions.

1. If I buy the hueg bags (like from Costco) of dry cat food, does it ever go bad?

2. I have a xbox sized cat named Jezebel and a pint sized cat named Clarice. I got Clarice from a neighbor of mine. Just recently, another neighbor told me about how the first neighbor would round up all these cats and feed them poison. Apparently, Clarice was the only one that survived. She has trouble eating anything but kitten food (including the "sensitive systems" food). Since switching to kitten food, Clarice has stopped throwing up, but Jezebel has gained almost 10 pounds.
tldr; What should I feed my cats to stop them from puking and getting fatter?

3. What kind of toy would bring the two cats together? The only interaction they have is Jezebel clubbing Clarice after Clarice has used the litter box.

Pic kinda related.

1. I'm assuming it's dry food in which case it's mainly wheat/rice based. It'll go stale like any cereal if you don't eat it fast enough. Fast being dependent on how well you seal it and the humidity of the storage area.

2. Don't feed them both the same food, and get your vet's recommendation on Clarice, that's not an easily answered question.

3. You can't necessarily make the cats like eachother, you may have to simply be content for them to just tolerate one another's existence. Also, general rule for number of litterboxes is 1 per cat plus 1 spare. Get yourself 2 more litterboxes.

I would if we had room for another litter box. I'm a poorfag and live in a 2 room apartment. It's not that we can't afford it, but we want at least one room NOT to smell like cat shit.
They've never fought like this before. It might be the fact that we just recently had our 10 year old dog put to sleep. He had arthritis in his shoulders, could barely walk, and his teeth had rotted.

I've never had a box of cereal go bad. Maybe it has, and I just didn't notice.
Anyways, Clarice can keep down wet foods. So what's a good type that isn't fucking Fancy Feast?

Wet foods are actually upsetting to your cats sensitive stomach (dont give wet food to kittens unless your vet says to and it is FOR kittens only). Try mashing up dry food with warm water.

Your cats might be puking because they are "indoor cats"? If they are they will have more hairballs and eat more because they have less to do and so throw up more. You can try giving "feedings" like you do to dogs where you only feed them a certain amount of food a few times a day instead of leaving food out all day. Check your cat food bag to see how much food your cat needs per day and divide it into 3-4 parts per day if you can and give them seperate bowls at feeding time.

Really, it's going to depend on what you're feeding now. Clarice might have an allergy to corn or soy, which are both pretty popular fillers in low-grade cat food (and also popular allergens). You mentioned "fucking Fancy Feast".....were you talking about how crappy it is or about the price? If you're worried about the price of Fancy Feast, then you shouldn't be looking into wet foods at all, as premium wet foods will cost you much more than Fancy Feast.

Also, try feeding your cats twice daily instead of free feeding or only feeding once daily. You can control how much Jezebel eats, and you can make sure that Clarice isn't wolfing down her food and upsetting her stomach.

As for toys, most cats like feathers, so go get some feather wands and feather mice. Also, this terrible torture device: http://www.amazon.com/Booda-Light-Chaser-Cat-Toy/dp/B00106R9QQ

Clarice isn't a kitten. She's actually 2 years old.

You only read the tl;dr, huh?

Fucking Fancy Feast because it's fucking horrible.

Er no, I am a trained in animal care and work with a veterinarian and animals every day, if you're going to ask for advice then insult any advice you get without an open mind to the fact that people are trying to help you without any personal gain, then dont ask please.

She has a weak stomach from being poisoned as a kitten. No allergies what so ever.
If you REALLY think I insulted you, get the fuck off 4chan now.
