The water is murky because I just got done with setting up the sand/rocks.

Anyway..

I'm getting ready to put some fiddler crabs in there. I plan on four. I've done all my research, but I never did find the "compatibility" answer: Is it best to get two pairs of crabs, or one male and three females or all male or what? I just want to avoid fighting and lost limbs.

It's a 20L tank. Thank yooou.

Can you really have crabs as pets? That's pretty kick-ass. Where would you buy them though, would a pet-co like place have them? Or could I just buy some lobsters/crabs from the tank at shoprite :p

Haha, yeah, I had some when I was a little kid. They were pretty badass, so I'm trying again when I actually know wtf I'm doing..

I'm getting mine at Petsmart, but I'm sure they are at Petco too or any petstore. Don't let them tell you they're freshwater crabs! They're actually brackish water and won't do great in fresh.

You can keep them with fish, too. My old ones were kept with mollies and guppies mostly.

You can find anything on the internet. Shipping cost sucks though.

Fiddler crabs =/= lobsters or crabs you find at supermarkets.

Most pet stores will carry small freshwater crabs common in the pet trade.
