It's a sea cucumber or something similar (I forget the exact name). It doesn't have eyes on the side of its head, that brown chunk is just detritus.

One of the last times this was posted there was a link to the website where they have a big collection of photos of the creature.

Sea cows have two lumpy paddles for legs and the face of a toothless walrus.

Sea monkeys have bulgy insect eyes, antennae, about 10 pairs of weird featherlike legs and you can see their guts through their skin.

Sea hares are brown slimy giant slug-things with thin membraneous wing-things extending from its sides.

Sea horses are spiny ugly little fish with freaky trumpet-mouths and prehensile tails which lay their eggs in the male sea horses's stomach.

Sea pigs have 12 feet and a clump tentacles for a mouth, not to mention the tentacle-things growing from its pink, slimy looking back.

Is everything more fucked up in the sea?
