not really, though dogs tend to gorge themselves on cat food and get sick. Maybe put the cat food on a table or something out of the dog's reach.

Minor problems - dog food has lower protein content than cat food and lots of carbs, while dogs may find cat food a bit too "rich".

So basically, in EXTREME circumstances, eventually you'll get a malnutritioned cat that eats twice as much and becomes obese and diabetic from the dog food, and a dog that vomits and has runs everywhere because of the rich cat food.

Um, actually, cats need certain amino acids that aren't found in dog food (such as taurine) that are essential for eyesight. Cats who don't get these aminos actually will go blind. It's best to keep the cat out of the dog's food so it doesn't get full on it and not eat its own food.

The dog will just get fat. ~shrug~
