So, will danios tear up betta's fins? I'm looking for some interesting tankmates for mine.
yeah, they will. Avoid tetras too, they really like to pick on long flowing fins.I'd go with ghost shrimp, just make sure they have a place to hide
I've got a friend who has guppies in with her betta.
>>133894Seriously? I've always heard bettas would ream male guppies because they look like them.
>>133868Unfortunately I look at ghost shrimp and just see bichir food. Harlequin rasboras? y/n?
just easier to let the other fish eat the betta and enjoy the numerous other variety of fish that aren't popular cannibalism targets
Bettas are little bastards, just do as>>133906said. Fuck the Betta, keep numerous nicer fish
danios would be fine. rasboras too. heck, most schooling fish would be ok. Just as long as you don't introduce other betta (male or female).>>133895male fancy guppies I would advise against. They're agressive and they do look similar to betta.
BRENDON?!!?
I have giant danios and the one attempt to put a betta in with them was a disaster.
>>134202you mean it was dinner amirite?
Ghost shrimp or whatever they're called are good too. The little invisible guys.
>>135009I bought some of those, but I think the pet shop may have snookered me...here's a picture.
