My baby bearded dragon is showing signs of being scared of people like running away or hiding. I talked to a few people and I've got mixed answers. Some say to leave him alone until maturity. Others say make sure he gets alot of handling by different people. Which should I listen to?

Continue to handle him. Not too much, but every day for a short time. Be gentle, just hold him and let him feel secure by supporting his body. DON'T neglect him until he's older, if you do he will NEVER like being handled. Be extra gentle when he's baby because he's more fragile but it shouldn't make him any more scared of you.

If your beardy puffs up his beard and hisses a lot of the time, or shows aggressive behavior, you should probably be more concerned, because that means he actually feels threatened.

I agree with gentle handling. My brother-in-law has a beardie, it begs for peas. Its adorable.
