I already put it out and it flew away after some time. I think it was just distorted or shocked or something.

they are called swifts not swallows. Look it up. They can't walk well, they have very short legs
>> Anonymous
swallows have very different wings than that, its a swift. very cute.

Local jargon. We don't call anything a swift here, at least, I've never heard anyone do so.

You need to get your monitor fixed. While the cat ears picture was a little hard to see, this one was perfectly fine.

If you ever find one of these, the best thing to do is take it upstairs and let it fly (Or throw it if you have to) out the window.
They spend all of their lives airborne.

113665 maybe I'm blind already... because I couldn't see very well IT WAS A BIIIIRD!!

You know, if every one else can see it and you can't, that probably means either you need to take of the sunglasses, no matter how cool they look, or, you need to fix your moniter.

wait what? ALL of thier lives? explain, could this be the evolution of fantastical creatures that never touch the ground? That lay hovering eggs in clouds and have lost the need for legs? Cuz that would be awesome.

in before Skyfish.

It is a Swift, and that's not some jargon, that's what they're called. They nest like most other birds, so don't literally spend their whole lives in the air, but AFAIK, that is the only time they stop flying. They even sleep while flying, which is pretty cool.
The nests are made in a colony, with the pairs of birds coming back evey year to use the same nest. I don't know if they fuck in the air, or when they get to their nest.
Like>>113668said, you have to throw them out an upstairs window, because they can't take off from the ground. If they land, they die.

I looked up the "Vultureswallow" as we call it in Holland, and yes, they do even mate airborne....
>> Anonymous
A young swift may spend 2-3 years in the air without landing once. At that age they usually start mating. They need to land to nest, but everything else they do while flying. They can even drink on the wing.
>> Anonymous
wow... swifts sound like neat little fuckers
>> Anonymous
that's kewl looking, kinda like a little plane.

"they even drink on the wing" explain. Do they jus fly with thier mouths open in a rainstorm of cloud? Itd be really cool that in a million years or so (given we dont wipe them out from above somehow) they will never EVER land. Mate, Eat, Lay eggs and pew pew in the air.

In Holland we have a bird called "Paradise bird" because legend has that it didn't have any legs so it would stay in the air forever.
