More proof the squirrels are savage violent creatures!

I've always hated squirrels. They are nasty little bastards that kill baby birds and stuff like that. But I hate bunnies to, so this pic is okay.
At least rabbits make good food. I don't think squirrels do.

oops, you're right. From the thumbnail the thing that squirrel is eating looked like a rabbit head, but now when I think about it, it would be a pretty small rabbit head... And there's a load of feathers on the ground. Oh well, I HOPE that they would eat rabbits. Though it seems higly unlikely now when I thinkh about it...too bad...

If a squirrel wants a tasty treat
A yummy birdy can't be beat.

It might be hungry, but they're naturally omnivorous.

Cows munch down rabbits they find deceased (there's pics of it) if they've got salt deficiency.

Squirrels are omnivorous. That means they like meat, too. Just accept it, they're just as bad as humans.

if they are omnivorous does this mean they have a natural prey in the wild?

Do bird eggs and young count as prey?

video of quirrel eating bird:
http://www.ifilm.com/video/2706185

there was also a documentary I watched some time ago about squirrles in which the scientist were admitting that though they were supposed to be simply documenting the behavior of the animals they would find themselves yelling when one of the known cannibals would get too near other quirrels (especially the young). I could not find the video though.

Replace "scientists" with "aliens" and "squirrels" &"animals" with "humans" for interesting results.
