i took this picture of a tiny lizard i found in italy while sight seeing , there were lots of these guys all over the place. they ran through grass and hid in the holes in the rocks.i have to say i hate italy very much and i never plan on going back, though these little guys were neatjust thought i would share
forgot to tell you how small, about as long as a finger and a half and 1/2 as thick
The most common lizard here in Finland. About the same size as OP's animal.Apparently OP's lizard is called sand lizard in English. Not sure about that, though.

looks like an aligator lizard, they can get almost a foot long if there a few years old. looks close to it but not sure, referencing,>>319122
>>319123>>319135Sorry for being ambiguous. The one in the picture I posted was a viviparous lizard. I thought that OP's lizard was a sand lizard, but apparently that's not true.
