Guys... I'm afraid.
The cat of my bf is loosing weight.
He was 5kg few months ago and now he is less than 4kg...

But as you can see, he is still playing. And he eats as much as before.

I would bring him to the vet if he was MY cat but the mother of my bf is his owner...

(btw, the step-father of my bf give milk to the cat, can it be the reason why?)

worms maybe

Best bet is worms or the type of diet is making him poop alot more
>> FatOldBenzGuy
I'd have him checked by a vet.

good news!
her owner bring him to the vet tomorrow
he is really bad today... just sleep... he asks for food but not like before.
I really hope he is not dying. Even if this monster wakes me up at 5 am almost everyday, I love him...

Don't worry, its probably just worms. Lots n lots.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's worms either. Vet will give ya some medicine, probably pills or something to put in his food. Then ya just gotta wait for him to crap out piles of dead worms. That part is gonna be a bit nasty, in case you didn't read the previous sentence.

try adding some nitrogen-rich fetrilizer, and make sure he gets plenty of sunlight.

keep us posted

oh noes, don't want him to become green.

I told you we ALREADY gave him meds against worms.

So, he is back from the vet. He thinks it's nothing but the cat has to come next month to see if he is back to normal. He could have diabetes.
The vet did all the vaccinations he didn't have last year.

Now he is sleeping.

I think he will be alright. He woke my gf and I up this morning, he hadn't done that for a week.

de la Suisse, naturellement.

If you allow him to play with threads he could be dying from his inside being tied up and cut by the thread, I'd take him to the vet immediately and have him check him out even if he's temporarily better.

maybe its just good exercise

Don't worry about it, I NEVER let him swallow the thread. I'm very careful with this.

Hey I work at a humane society...but do you know if they switched foods for the cat?
Has his temperament changed at all?
If no, I would take him to the vet cause he could have diabetes that is usually why cats will lose a lot of weight fast while still eating!! Anyways I wish you the best of luck...and by the way She is SO CUTE!!!
