/an/ please help I found this adorable little bird while I was walking the other day. It was right outside my school, and he wasn't close to any trees at all, I think he's a baby because he can't fly, but he tries to. He was just sitting in a corner against a wall and looked like he was sleeping. I was hoping that by the next day he might be better but he was still there today, not in the same spot of course. Here is a photo I took with my cell phone, sorry for the poor quality.

Is there anything I can do to help him? :<

Really? Just make it a nest? I know for sure I couldn't bring it home, my mom would never allow me to. Will he eventually learn to fly on his own? I'm sorry I just know next to nothing about birds.

i have two of those in the grass in my backyard, they seem to be being fed even without nests

looks like a baby mocking bird. i took care of one once but I forgot what I was supposed to feed it. if you can figure it out i remember that thing being a real pig. no problem feeding it at all.

Are you sure the parents aren't visiting and feeding it? Isn't that pretty common? If that's the case, removing it would probably do more harm than good.

It's a mockingbird. Take it to a local park or something. If it's outside your school, there's bound to be some cruel faggot who would kill it for the lulz to show off to his faggot buddies.

pretty sure its a robin, when i had one it looked exactly like that as its chest was starting to fill in.

Looks like either a mocking bird or a robin to me. It will learn to fly, do not worry. Its parent(s) is probably nearby, coming to feed it, so the bird is probably fine. Birds like these often leave the nest before they can fly properly, and it's perfectly normal. If he is still there next time, just move him into some grass so he won't get stepped on.
