I saw this little bug crawling on my fridge today. It looked like the attached picture and was about a quarter of an inch long. Any ideas what it might have been? Thanks.

it's a MEGAPEDE, YOU'RE FUCKED

Bumping for Anonymous to get his bug recognized.

When I was in elementary school, I saw what I know now is a house centipede, and I wasn't able to sleep until almost the morning.

Six legs, it's not a centipede. It's probably a springtail, a collembola.

But hell, it could be anything given the drawing.

Nah, aren't megapedes made of several round spheres? And only found floating above the Nazca plains?

Heh. Ah way back when Enix was not tied to Square, and back when Square actually made new games.

Silverfish have long antenna, are longer than half an inch, and have three filamentous tails.

It's Space Herpes.

Surely OP would have noticed the pincers at the back of an earwig or that the bug was silver if it was a silverfish?
Moar details required for indentification.

wasn't that the thing that came outta Chekov's ear in Wrath of Khan?

If it was a silverfish, OP would have also surely noticed the three "antennas" on the extremity of its tail.
