What in the fuck did it do

Just a bad molt, it was regenerating a lost leg and it failed to do it right and ripped off all of the exoskeleton around that leg and coxa

that one actually isn't mine but a friend of mines

could it have been a parasite? looks like something burst out of it.

either way that sucks. i've never had a smithi before.

my pic is hazy because it was taken through metal screen.

That's a lovely P. cambridei

but no, it was missing that leg, but it was a nub not dropped at a joint, apprently when it molted the leg wasn't regenerated right and it ripped off its new exo with the exuvium...it was sad for ryan(the owner) he was going to mate the boy with another molt.

cambridgei ;) she was one of my favorites. i just wish she would've come out more instead of waiting till i had to sell her to decide to be more outgoing. my favorite species.

that sucks about the bad molt. i've had a couple experiences with bad molts, though none that bad. once i had a spider wind up with 1.5 fangs, and a couple of times i've had to take a small wet paint brush and get the last of the exuvium off the abdomen. never fun stuff to deal with.

heh was thinking that after i posted. irminia are a close second for me. i just like the subtle coloration of the cams i guess.

actually bought my irminia unsexed from ssw and it turned out female!

I still haven't figured out why the demand for these is so high, I mean yes its a lovely spider, but it looks almost gaudy like a GBB...

hah yea, that's me in the other thread. i sold them cause i'm joining the military and wouldn't be able to care for them for a while. rather than burden someone with a bunch of arachnids and a few snakes, i just sold the lot of them. still have one spider that someone is watching..actually have to hit them up and figure something out as far as selling it goes. also have one last corn snake that my friend is gonna watch for me.

yea, those P. metallica are pricey bastards. i guess breeding is slow going so far..then there's the hype about them. eventually they should become cheaper as more breedings are successful.

they do look nice though hah.

really didn't get the colors good in this one..but michael jacobbi had this one at ac06.

Man that sucks, why go into the military? What T are you keeping?

I was really surprised that botar sold one his adult females, luckily it was a guy on AB who bought it so it still might get bred this next year

what I'm interested in is a pampho species this guy in the uk's got, it's the chicken spider I think

here's another, turns out they are communal

>>182724
are you the same person i was talking with?

what species is that??

well..i need a good job haha that is the basic idea. previous jobs were crappy and just getting me by but nothing more. i'll be an officer at least. also i had no health insurance at all at my last job.

i come from a big military family too, so it almost seems natural.

the t i'm keeping is this guy (unfortunately it is a he) Xenesthis sp. "white" by far the most expensive t i've ever bought.
>> By-Tor
>>182729
yea I'm the same guy, that's my ab name

yea I think the only person I've seen with those is ssw, I can't remember if swift had any, but that's a hefty price, higher than p metallica if I remember right--- No wonder you're holding on to it

those are some Pamphobeteus sp. right?

yea, that spider cost me $175, so i wanted to keep it. was hoping it was a female though. :(

just trying to find someone to buy it for mating purposes. kinda hard though.

pre-molt pic.
>> By-Tor
>>182733
yea they are but they guy in the uk is the only one to have them and some of the taxonimist over there

just keep putting up ads on AB is your best bet, maybe venomlist?

i think i posted it on VL. that site has been fairly slow the last times i've been there. honestly haven't been there in a while.

i shot you a pm on AB to let you know who i am on there.

yea, that sucks botar sold his female. didn't put 2 and 2 together when you posted it earlier. was gonna sell him to gearheart but he is hell bent on a trade. told him i couldn't do it because i'm going into the military, so he offered store credit. without a job right now..i need the cash ahah..not credit for critters i can't keep for a few months at least.
