Galah Anonymous
About a week and a half ago I posted here about a galah I found with an injured wing. I'm happy to say that I released him this morning and after toddling around on the ground for a while, he flew away :D

The wildlife authorities never got back to me. They probably would have killed him too, when all he needed was a place to rest up and eat parrot seed where predators couldn't get him.

Yay! \o/

Yaaaaay Galah!!!

The same thing happened to me with a dove. :( It was all running around and unable to fly. Had a nasty scabby wound on it's chest. Brought it home, fed it commercial birdseed and gave it water. In a few days it was kinda fluttering around, so I started taking it outside and tossing it up into the air to see if it would fly xP Took a few more days, but the little bugger finally got it. :)

Yay rehabilitated birds!
