Anyone who writes this film off as a man in a costume is a close minded moron who knows nothing about zoology.

Uh... Didn't the people responsible for this video come out a couple years ago and say it was fake?
>> Anonymous
>>163751
No, but there are two different people who claim to have made the suit, or at least know who made the suit. These are separate people that do not claim to have worked togther, but on their own. So, since this has to be a hoax, you are in fact not seeing one man in a suit in that film, but two. At the same time.

Also, it's funny how this monkey suit can fool anatomists, primatologists and special effects experts, but any guy off the street can tell it's a fake. Yeah, that makes sense.

I'm not sure if it's real or fake, even though I've seen several sasquatch's. All the ones I saw were male. It looks close, but if it is real the sexual dimorphism is large.

>>163791
You mean sexual dimorphisms, since there are two of them, amirite?

sexual dimorphism already implies two

I really want to believe. I think it has to do with the lost romanticism of the American frontier. You know, the idea that we still have major unknowns regarding the wild in this day and age.
>> Anonymous
We still have major unknowns in the world just not on land. We still haven't explored much of the ocean depths yet.

Even minor unknowns can hold a few hefty surprises.

Really? Everything major on land is known?
Go look at google maps, and even in developed countries like the u.s. there's more unexplored wilderness where man has never set foot than there is cities.

There's a more recent video. A vacation vid in the mountains has a yetti (sp?) in the background. Nice sharp, modern video camera. I don't know why it didn't get more press coverage.

Also, Jay Leno made a good point. Now that nearly everyone has a camera phone in there pockets at all times, whay aren't there more UFO pictures?

Go out and try to take a picture of a bird with your camera phone, and then you'll see why there aren't more ufo pics.

NOW LOOK HERE. I've never seen one clearly, and no one ever has. So it must NOT exist. Just like the giant squid didn't fucking exist.

Now look. Maybe these sasquatches/bigfoots/yetis are just people with the same disease as (picture) Shaolin Grandmaster Su Kong Tai Djin (who taught 'current grandmaster' Sin Kwan The'). Maybe they just give themselves hair(body?)cuts.

I think it's a genetic disorder. Brief history on the guy:

"Su Kong Tai Djin was not a Shaolin monk but he resided and grew up in the Fukien Shaolin temple, having been left there by his parents who believed they had spawned a devil child. (Grandmaster Su Kong Tai Djin was born with a genetic disorder called XXX that promoted heavy growth of hair all over his body.)

The Shaolin schools of today, under Grandmaster Sin Kwang Thé, can trace their lineage all the way back to the Fukien Shaolin temple and to the first Grandmaster, Su Kong Tai Djin."

It's a wookie.

yeah, that explains why theyre naked and wondering out in the wilderness, they arent hairy people OR sasquatches. Just fucking fake.
>> Transcript of Dr. Jane Goodall's Comments on NPR Regarding Sasquatch Anonymous
http://www.bfro.net/news/GoodallTranscript.asp

Dr. Goodall: As for the other, you're talking about a yeti or bigfoot or sasquatch.

Ira Flatow: Is that what he's talking about?

Dr. Goodall: Yes, it is and ...

Ira Flatow: Is that the message I'm missing here?

Dr. Goodall: I think that's the message you're missing and ...

Ira Flatow: (To the caller) Is that right?

Caller: Pretty much.

Ira Flatow: (Laughing) I'm out of the loop. Go ahead.

Dr. Goodall: Well now, you'll be amazed when I tell you that I'm sure that they exist.

Ira Flatow: You are?

Dr. Goodall: Yeah. I've talked to so many Native Americans who all describe the same sounds, two who have seen them. I've probably got about, oh, thirty books that have come from different parts of the world, from China from, from all over the place, and there was a little tiny snippet in the newspaper just last week which says that British scientists have found what they believed to be a yeti hair and that the scientists

I didn't say it was about that chinese guy, or that I thought that.
My sister said that she thought what my friends and I saw in the woods were black hobo's with the same genetic disorder as that hairy chinese guy.

Does that disease cause humans to grow unnaturally wide shoulders and long arms? Also, I think it's easy to tell a hairless ape-like face from a hair-covered human face.

>>164047
Yeah, I'm sure that magicians are more qualified to assess the reality of an unknown species than anatomists and primatologists. Next time I want to learn something about apes, remind me to go ask the local illusionist.
