I have a six-year-old German Shepherd mutt, though he looks almost purebred. Only difference is that his back really is straight, completely, and his fur's very short except on his tail. He's a very nervous dog, though, and suffers a lot of separation anxiety. If I'm home, he's perfectly well-behaved and the greatest dog I've ever known, but when I'm gone, he will go so far as to claw out window screens or jump fences to escape, I can only assume to come look for me since he's never acted that way in my presence and he does try to follow me everywhere. Still, he's a fantastic dog when he behaves himself. German Shepherds FTW. I do prefer larger, more wolf-like but still manageable dogs, and he even howls like a wolf on occasion.
I don't have a photo of him, but he looks a lot like this one.
