Help /an/! /r/ failed me so you're my last hope.

Does anyone have an idea what kind of animal (or object) that's in this picture? to me it looks like some sort of animal from africa. Any Ideas?

There are no references in the pic which can positively identify its location, so it's possible this is a pic from the U.S. or elsewhere. The body shape is wrong for a raccoon but right for a cat, so I suspect it is a plain ol' gray housecat.

I'm pretty sure it isn't a cat, this picture was used in a competition once so cat would've been to easy...

Damn it, I thought this was going to be a combo.

I'd guess a wombat, but they're not in Africa

same retard. it's not a pig, the fur is way to thick and soft looking. I'm guessing that's part of the rump of a wallaby or kangaroo.

I don't think that's a pig. Yes, I agree that it does look like one at first glance, but it isn't quite right. The "back" is too arched up, and the wrinkles near the front are not right either.

There is any number of things this might be. It could be a pig. It could be an elephant's head. It could be a hippo. But what I think it is, is a picture of something completely different that is disguised by the cropping. This may even be a small part of a PERSON'S head: with the poor resolution, the compression, and the unusual cropping it is really hard to say.

But, I know Anon. And Anon is the kind of person who would crop a picture of a black man's head (note the Africa comment) and then claims it to be "some kind of animal", in order to get us all in on the joke.

left side shows shoulders and a long neck bent down. likely vegetarian and eating grass. as such, and it being in Africa, I would assume it's some sort of predator food. Gazelle? Impala?

Animals can't be vegetarians you retard.

Theres no way to be sure from the picture. It could be anything. Its so blurry you cant really tell if its fur, hair or hide youre looking at, idetify any anatomy, or get any scale. It could be a rhino, a buffalo, a warthog, anything that colour, taken from a weird angle.

That's beautiful.

as stupid as it sounds, this anon is right. animals can't be vegetarians. They can be herbivores. But vegitarians make conscious desicions to not eat meat in their diet.

both me and my sister thought wombat first, so i'm pretty sure that that's what it is

Are you guys serious? A pig? Pigs have bristly tough hair, that has soft plushy fur. I second the wombat hypothesis...
