Probably a couple going down the throat too. That's when he was small enough to eat crickets. Since early May when he woke up, he's grown by 4-5 inches and gained a ton of weight. I'm feeding him raw turkey, fuzzies, and large roaches now.

From a decent breeder, about $120-$150 depending on size, availability, and the time of year. Summer is the best time to get one since they're hatching out for two of the major breeders: Sisco Reptiles and Varnyard Herps. I got mine from Sisco.

Some alternate tegus like Reds, Blues, Whiteheads, and Giants will cost you more though.

That's how I got my Argentine from Colombia. There are a lot of sketchy fuckers on there. I'd play it safe and get it shipped from a reputable breeder than get it from some sack of shit.
Rainforest Reptiles is a good example of a sack of shit. Never buy anything from that guy.
