I hate cats & life Anonymous
I'm a lonely guy, 34 years old with no relatives whatsoever.
My life's a routine.. one day a co-worker suggested me to get a pet, which sounded like a nice idea at the time..

So, one way I saw a stray kitty, captured him and brought him home.
Turns out the fucker is a genius, and that he *loves* me.
What I mean with genius, well I threw him small objects (like ping pong balls) and he brought them back like a dog.
I once repeated that so many times his paws had sweat lol

So, that cat got cancer and died.
I cried for weeks and from then I'm in a really bad mood.

I didn't even cry when my mother died. It's so weird..

/an/, why get pets if they are going to die before you? ;_;..

yes, and last. im not getting any more

you get pets to make their lives better... they way that cat made yours, for however long or short. think of the pets in cages that would benefit from your attention, and your benefit from theirs.

however, as a cat owner, it would appear to me that you would most benefit from a dog.

The happiness you give them and the happiness they bring is infinitely greater than the sadness you feel when you part ways, no matter how much it hurts. I know it's cliché, but impermanence is part of what makes life so special, and that extends to pets. They're here to be with us, for a while, and we appreciate the time we have with them. When they have to go, they go. But they go knowing they had a home and a family/owner that loved them and cared for them and made them as happy as a cat can be. And we have to let them go, acknowledging that they brought us so much joy in such a relatively short amount of time.

tl;dr love.

Sorry to hear that about your cat.

Just remember that you made it happy during its life, and it made you happy. You now have the opportunity to make another animal happy.

things die, people die....
I try to focus on enjoying life, enjoying the day-to-day, and finding an adventure in everything.

ProTip: You need a Giant Turtle or a Macaw.

You've brought tears to my eyes, anon. Maybe I'm just a wimp, but...what you said is terribly true. Sad, but true.

Anyways, OP, when your first pet dies...it's really really hard and it feels like you never will ever want another one. But some time you'll realize how good that cat's life was because of you, and how good your life was because of the cat, and you'll remember all the fun times you had together...and you'll want that again.

I don't know if you've seen this, OP, but here:

It will make you cry most likely, but I'm terrible at putting things into words and this will probably explain what I'm getting at better.

Gore lied, kittens died!

Everyone and everything dies, that's just the way life works. That doesnt't mean it's all a waste. Don't think about the end, think about the way you walked together. You had a great time with your cat and whenever you look back, you should be happy and grateful.

I had many pets, and many died already. I cried so much ever time. But as soon as the grief settles, I'll remember how we played and cuddled -- and I'll smile for them. :)

You must be a pretty big pussy. I missed my first cat when he died. I missed him a lot, I still do. However I've had pets since then (or rather my family has). Now that I'm on my own I need to get another though.

You are the best proof that only giant pussies own cats.

Fist of all, you're a faggot. A huge faggot.

Second, stop being so emo. You're 34. How many years of fun did you and the cat have? What would you have done without the cat for all those years. Quit being such a punk ass bitch, everyone and everything you know will die, move away, hate you, or whatever.

But, there is cloning. $50,000 but it's possible.

Update: The company closed, but get your cat's blueprints and wait a few years. THEN clone.

It's obviouslly about the sex that comes along with having an animal.
