What do you do when your cat wants something, but you can't fucking figure it out, and your cat starts to get frustrated and goes kinda nuts with the meowing and the pawing and rubbing while you're standing there like, "WHAT THE SHIT DO YOU WANT?"

Picture related. She just about drove me NUTS tonight before I figured out she wanted another can of food.

I had just fed her, though. After her extra can of food and a good petting, she went outside. I didn't know she felt like seconds tonight.

maybe she's chunking it back up outside for a family of kittens then ;p

I highly doubt that...

I just wish I could speak whatever cat language she's using. It would save us both a lot of time and frustration.

my parents cat who im babysitting usually meows/chirps a lot to get my attention then will lead me to the bathroom, where she jumps atop the toilet and continues to chirp/meow to get me to lift her to the sink, turn it on a little bit, so she can drink that sweet sweet tapwater...but lately she does the exact same thing, but wont drink the water and just jumps down....then DOES IT AGAIN THE NEXT MINUTE

ITT lack of reading comprehension skills.

Why do cats do this? It makes no sense, not to mention it's wasting everyone's time when they do crap like that.

Whenevere my cat does that it means she wants to be picked up.

My cat meows all the time, and for no real reason. I check the food, check the water, open the window to see if she wants to go out, pet her, etc. I eventually just go sit in my room, the cat usually jumps on the back of my recliner and licks my hair for a few minutes.

If the food and water are fine and the box is clean and it doesn't just want attention...
Just put it outside. Damn cat.

My cat and I can speak a few words

If you make something up that sounds similar to her style of meowing- something she could say herself she'll learn it

Make the same noise each time you give her food to call her, make the same noise when you clean her litter box so she associates, and giving water, and letting her out. She'll learn it and use it when she's thinking of it.

When my cat is still hungry she knows starts meowing "Ummmber-rau" for food. Anytime I say it she knows exactly what it is and answers back.

Cats can learn to come to their name if you train it right, they can learn any other words and vocalize them if they are able to

I taught my cat how to say Moo. Now everytime he wants out, he says. "Meoooo."

Do what your ferret says, then post pics and a lengthy explanation for your behavior on /b/.

My cat navigates by echolocation. It's really annoying.
