Puppy/Dog Q's Eel !puRgtI1HCs
Hey guys. I have a 4 month old mutt (I assume calahoona/mastiff) and I want to know some things.
===TL;DR===
This is my first "big dog", up until now I've had toy breeds, and so now I wonder what I should expect from my new puppy.Her personality (so far) is laid back, not hyper. She's sweet and playful. Not really destructive.
===/TL;DR===

I want to know if it's normal for puppies her size to not be able to jump on the couch. She can put her paws on it, but can't seem to jump up.

How do I figure out how big she'll get?

Pic is of her.

Chances are she's either too scared or lazy to pop up there. Worst case scenario would be an actual medical problem. Next time you take her to the vet let them know just in case.

In my experience bigger dogs tend to be very calm and friendly and don't make a point to chew everything to bits once they grow out of puppyhood. Of course, make sure she gets proper training - you don't want an enormous disrespectful dog, as they can and will become holy terrors.

Make sure that your dog is properly socialized with humans and other animals.

It's called a Catahoula, not a Calahoona.

With mutts is always hard to tell how big they'll get, but a good way to tell is her paws and head size. If she has huge paws for a puppy, she'll grow up to be big. If they look normal for her size, she'll probably just grow up to be an average size.
