I really wish we could bring them back to life.

Somebody, please insert giantism genes into chickens and turkeys, OK?

So we can arrange gladiator fights with them..

didn't know Therizinosaurus was that tall.

and yeah, Spinosaurus is the largest meat-eating dinosaur. Grrrrrrrr.

Therizinosaurus could take on any one of them (were they alive at the same time). One swipe with those claws, and the fight is over...

Not if the T. rex snaps the Therizinosaurus hot-wings with its jaws, as T. rex is the only one capable of effectively crushing bones.

Okay, so here's my take on it:
Mapusaurus is long but lightly built, so it would probably be scared away by Spinosaurus's sail. Mapu first out.
Spino will be the second out, because although it can intimidate the other dinos with its sail, it is without any efficient offensive weapons. Plus the sail itself presents a weak spot, where other dinos can attack for massive damage.
Carcharodontosaurus and Giganotosaurus will fight till Charchar bled to dead and Giga severely wounded.
Big Rex will loaf around and watch his fellow theropods kill each other (thanks to his slightly bigger brain-from Coelusaurian ancestry.), then heartily scavenges upon the dead/dying.

And then snap the Therizinosaurus's hot wings and eat him too.

Ahahahaha! xD Godzilla.

>>158028and yeah, Spinosaurus is the largest meat-eating dinosaur. Grrrrrrrr.

But the Spinosaurus had narrow, weak fish-eating jaws. Fucking pussy. He wouldn't have the jaw strength to snap a T-rex's neck like he did in the Jurassic Park movie

You're forgetting that "hot wings" is a plural. While old rexy is chewing on the other arm, Therizinosaurus can use the other turn him into Theri-shish-kebab.

Therizinosaur claws were actually very brittle, despite how they may look. They were not used as weapons, they were used to hook high-reaching branches and bring them down so the animal could munch some leaves.

I mean, it was a herbivore, after all. Not all theropods ate meat.

And Spinosaurus was an awkwardly-built beach-comber with weak jaws, fragile teeth, and arms placed far too lowly to be useful as weapons.

This fight is really only a three-way between Tyrannosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, and Mapusaurus. And seeing as none of these guys really had arms they could use as effective weapons, it pretty much comes down to sturdiness and the most lethal bite, the second catgory of which Tyrannosaurus has the unquestionable advantage in.

What about Tyrannotitan?
>> Anonymous
>>158255
Tyrannotitan was basically an updated version of Giganotosaurus. Bigger, but with smaller arms. Not a match for T. rex.
>> Anonymous
>>158257

Isn't smaller arms better? Like T-Rex had super tiny arms so that it could have a bigger head. Wouldn't the same thing apply to Tyrannotitan (or any other Carcharodontosaurs)?
>> Anonymous
>>158259

Theoretically yes, but you also have to consider why each animal got a bigger, nastier head. Carcharodontosaurs were designed for shacking up in mobs and picking apart titanosaurs several times their size one bite at a time, so they didn't quite have a crushing jaw strength or reinforced teeth, just really, really sharp teeth to make slicing off a chunk of calf muscle a lot easier.

Tyrannosaurs on the other hand (or at least the later tyrannosaurine group), gained bigger heads for the purpose of single-handedly manhandling similar-sized prey, doing the most damage in the least amount of time for the quickest kill.

I wish they'd finally do a dinosaur film that did justice to the awesome power of Tyrannosaurus' jaws, the only dinosaur that could bite huge chunks out of solid bone. FUCK YEAH!
