[x] We will outlive nature and then move to another planet which we have found earlier and have inhabited.

Too many "have" words though.

And if we'll have to leave earth once the sun begins to expand. If the human race is still alive. Optimistic attitude ftw!

I should really read my posts twise before I press submit :/

how can we outlive nature when we are part of nature?

There's a good chance we'll destroy all life on Earth, turning it into a new Venus, and there'll be nobody to outlive anything.
>> Anonymous
moving on to new planets = never

Long after we make the planet uninhabitable for ourselves, there will be life in the form of bacteria. Maybe nature will start again. There should be plenty of time left before the sun goes haywire for another entire global ecology to develop.

The Earth has gone through far more shit with asteroids and mass extinctions in the past than humans can ever inflict on it. Life is fucking impossible to totally kill, especially bacteria. And even if the Earth itself somehow blows up, that doesn't mean life is completely gone already. NASA has been struggling for years to try and get rid of all these bacteria attaching themselves to space probes, especially the ones that end up in Mars. There's a possiblity that Earth bacteria are already on Mars along with all the junk they've sent there for the past 40 years.

we sent stuff to mars before the moonrace? coooool =p~~

We will destroy all life on Earth, and it will become a planet of glorious mechanical purity.
>> Anonymous
well do either of two things, we'll kill ourselves and nature will recover and create a new intelligent species in 50 thousand years or so, or we will be on the brink of destroying ourselves where we will desperately send ourselves on a somewhat self sustaining space craft to another solar system where we think theres a planet with a human sustaining enviornment. where we will get there in a few hundred generations and then fuck the place up

Yep, shit was sent to Mars since early '60s by both USA and USSR.

Who knows, maybe we're the second or third or whatever version of humans. Humanity could've been destroyed, rebuilt, etc. etc. OH SHI- DIVIDE BY ZERO

[X] A fleet of Vogon constructor ships will demolish Earth to make way for a Hyperspace bypass. Thankfully, the dolphins will have had enough sense to evacuate before this occurs.

The problem with humans as a recurring industrialised civilisation is that we've already used the easiest extractable resources for things like Iron, and have been doing so for thousands of years so any civilisation coming after us is gon have a hell of a time getting as advanced.

So Nature > humanity, but humanity will not always be humans so future non-human humanity possibly outlast nature.

[X] A good majority of the human race will die off, we will be genetically extinct, nature will perish for a while (till humans are all gone) and resiliate back to normal.

Hey, the paperwork's been on file, we've no reason to complain.
