LITTERBOXAN. Keep the cat in an enclosed room, such as your room or say the laundry because until the kitten learns to consistently go to the litterbox and whatnot, it's kinda dangerous for it to be around.
Get a nice sized deep plastic box, the ones they sell in IKEA, and put some bricks or something next to it to lead up to a step. Most litter "trays" are just plain retarded and they don't know the value of going to china.
Also, when you get the chance, get an all-wormer.
Introduce the cat to wet food when you can. I find that a nice combination between dry and wet food keeps the cat most healthy. Also, keep plenty of water around.
