I have yet to find any of my tarantula's dull, they each have their own personalities. I have a B.smithi(Mexican red knee) that likes to think its arboreal, which is kinda bad, because when its bigger a fall of even a foot or so can kill it(causes internal bleeding, sometimes they lose a leg).
I would have to say the funnest one of mine to hold and watch is my A.versicolor, they are so incredibly active, everytime you pop the lid it comes for a visit. Then hops around on you.
One of the coolest things is watching them all make their webbings, for that reason whenever someone asks what a good starter tarantula is, I suggest a pink toe. They barely ever bite(if they do you obviously did something it didnt like) then can be handles, but you have to watch out for their ranged defence capabilities(shooting poop). They can be handled, and they get to a nice size and look pretty cool. One of the only tarantula's I have seen girls just fall in love with, simply because of its hot pink toes when its bigger.
