Dancing Spider Anonymous
dear /an/

The other day I saw a spider 'dancing' (somewhat) around the corner of a noticeboard

When it moved it kept the 'dancing' motion and continued it's motion, swaying from left to right and up and down in a wave-like motion

I can't seem to find out what species it is as I don't know the game, so can any of you help me out?

It's about as big as the tip of a finger and looks something like the picture here, but it's body was more like just a round ball and orange in colour

Some spiders do that in an attempt to evade being swooped from their webs from birds.

nope, not like that either; it has a single, round elipse for it's body and has thin, stick-like legs

yeah they do that when i blow on them sometimes, but once i was admiring this really cool looking spider, and he dropped down on a string a few inches and spun around a few times then went back to the center of his web. smart spider? i dunno why else he would seemingly show off like that.

no telling..especially if it "looks like" the spider you posted. which by the way, is a dead spider...probably male but can't tell.

Dont know the name in english. In germany it is named Zitterspinne (shiverspider?). They live normally in caves or cellars. The shiver is to protect them from enemys, they become invisible for the most animals.
