/an/, people often describe things that humans do as being unnatural or violating nature. Now, I may be wrong here but aren't humans natural? We're animals, right? So wouldn't everything we do be natural? How is a forest fire caused by lightning any more natural than one caused by a human? Humanity = Nature

Nature = God
Humanity =/= God
Humanity < God
Humanity < Nature

Hobbes summed up the 'natural way' best, I think: "We are here to devour each other alive."
If you're not doing that, you're 'unnatural'.

I can't see the picture but in any case. yeah we are unnatural in every way really. we live in a way that is not natural. and thats why humanity is doomed to whipe them selves out. we are way too many for our own good.

Humans often think they are not part of nature. In fact this belief is deeply ingrained in the western culture. Yet in reality, there is nothing unnatural except for the supernatural (which has not been proven to exist) so anything and everything around you is essentially natural.

So, next time you wonder about this, remember that "natural" usually does not refer to things pertaining to the natural world but "things that did not require human cultural evolution to exist".
