Sup /an/ heros.
my dog is very sick, vet offices are closed for the fucking 4th weekend
here is what happened.
My ex GF kept the dog for a year, and suddenly she got pregnant. My exGF couldnt keep the puppies or the dog so she gave it to me. After a week my dog had a miscarriage. She just got skinny really fast. I tried giving her food but she would only eat very little. Her bones ended up starting to show so i was waiting to get paid today to take her to the vet. But when i got home she was just on the ground, i picked her up and took her to my room where she just vomited dark red blood. It was not thick, looks like cranberry juice but smelled like rotten food. I've bought a bottle and gave her some milk and pepto, i plan on giving her some gerber in about 30mins. Anything else i should do, everything fucking going to be closed till monday.

the dog will die, and your ex girlfriend will subconsciously blame it on you. but it doesnt matter, because its your fault anyway

Sounds like she's on her way to dying, seriously.

There are, uh, emergency vets, you know?
>> Not a Vet, but...
sounds like the dog either has cancer or swallowed something big/wierd and it got stuck in the intestine somewhere. I do know that you're not supposed to give dogs pepto with milk, though...

This is why cats are superior as pets.

for gods sake, take the dog to an EMERGENCY VET. they'll be open, trust me. do NOT give her milk..why would u give a dog milk? they're lactose intolerant, please dont. pepto is okay.

Emergency veterinary clinic. Even rural areas way out in the boondocks have emergency veterinary services available. And it should go without saying, but you should have taken her in a lot sooner, after the miscarriage or when she was losing weight. Vets offer payment plans for a reason.

OP, I had a golden retriever that died in a similar manner. You really have my condolences, it's a horrible way for a pet to die. The day my dog threw up all that blood and died (on the way to the emergency vet's no less) was one of the worst days of my life =(

The best thing to do for her is find a local emergency vet clinic. This is something that is very serious and could kill her. Do not wait!
