i think it's a horseshoe crab. but, it's funny, horseshoe crabs aren't crustaceans at all. they are actually arachnids.

Notostraca (not horseshoe crabs, different order etc), sold as triops by a few vendors. I thought about getting some of those a while back, and creating a mini ecosystem of sea monkeys, triops, and whatever else is in the family of freeze dried packet animals. Triops would eat the sea monkeys, of course, but that would be interesting to watch.

Horseshoe crabs aren't arachnids. They're Chelicerates but are either Class Merostomata or Xiphosura, not Arachnida.
