My cat -- eats lettuce/corn/potatoes... Vegetables in general (save for onions, thankfully)

What I'm asking, /AN/ is: Is this habit bad for him? His mother ate Vegetables as well so maybe it's a trait? OR something he's lacking in-diet?

pic related, my baby when he was a baby. <3

That's hilarious, I've never heard of that before. I guess you should just try to add in more things (like beans for protein) to give him a more well-rounded diet, though I have no honest idea. That's just my common sense giving a suggestion.

My cat used to love cheese. Wouldn't take any other human food but that.

Oh, he'll eat anything I have for the record, 99% he gets what he wants. But also I take great care to make his 'treats' limited as possible so he'll eat what he has in the bowl.

But that sounds like a good idea, mixing in a few veggies in his food -- or buying the food that has veggies (or was that only dogs?) mixed in.

Some cats like veggies, but it's best to limit them. You should also make sure he gets enough meat. You don't want a blind cat on your hands.

You ahve to make sure he gets enough meat/protein, the food i feed mine is mostly meat but has a good mix of veggies and/or fish depending on what you get and it's all human grade too.

He absolutely loves it, it costs a bit more but he has so much more energy and his coat looks gorgeous.
