Tails of cat kills Barksalot !!bUy38Am5hmk
Oh, hai! I’ve been gone for a few weeks but I’m back… for now. Did I miss anything truly epic, or just the usual whale and horse penis threads, and all that??

Anyway, I was walking my dog the other day and came across the neighbourhood stray cat. He’s a feisty fella, but has his affectionate moments where won’t allow you leave by constantly walking in front of your feet until you pay him with meat. The unusual thing this time was that my dog, who is friends with the cat, became agitated and started whining. I noticed a feral glare in the cat’s eyes and that’s when I saw the neat pile of fresh entrails lying next to him...................

.....Below this, usually welcoming cat was the beheaded body of a teenage rabbit, and as my dog and I garnished our undivided attention upon the scene, he casually began to stick his head inside the corpse to separate the nutritious goo from the skin........

Interesting how you were just chilling and taking pictures.

.....I decided to leave him and when I returned later, he had just finished cleaning the insides, leaving a neat, hollowed out boneless shell – perfect for slipping over your coffee cup to keep it warm or in his case; a fashionable, temporary “hat” as he tried to remove every last residue of sweet, nourishing blood.

TL;DR: What things have you seen a (or your own) cat kill?

That is hunting instincts for you.

Eh, my cat has so far only killed 2 birds. The first time he tried to eat it, but could not.
Second time he ate the whole damn thing and the only trace of it that he left was a couple of feathers. It was cute watching him parade around with the dead bird feeling like a macho man...

We had a barn cat named Reese - gorgeous tortoiseshell cat, and affection to the point of irritation. (She would actually jump on you, cling to your chest and expect you to cuddle her.) She was probably better suited to a family with kids except she was a killing motherfucking machine. She'd sit and wait on a stall door for a bird to be disturbed out of their nest, then jump and bring the bitch down (sometimes two at a time if they were close enough together). She's crawled through rafters and eaten an entire nest of baby birds, routed out and demolished the mole population, and of course, ate her weight in mice every day and left their innards for you to step on in the feed room.

The next day I was walking my dog again and noticed strange noises from a distance. They became louder and I saw the cat emerge from behind a tree, with a rabbit in his mouth.
He was 100M away from me, but casually watched as I tied up my dog and walked towards him to rescue the creature, but he ran off when I got too close.
The area is full of dogs and he has managed to survive the last two years. I saw him caught in a trap once, and as the council worker tried to put him into another cage, he managed to get free, use the man's face/head as a springboard and run off. He can be affectionate if he wants to, though and when he was a stray kitten, he used to break in and steal food from my cat's outdoor kennel.

Delicious.

My cats kill loads of things.
Birds, rats, mice, gophers, snakes, etc.

The only picture I have of any carnage is this one, though.

My family has two outdoor cats that leave things on the doorstep occasionally. The biggest was a full grown squirrel. Birds and rats are most common, though.

One time, they killed a cardinal and left it on the front porch. One of our two indoor cats saw it and really wanted it, so she dashed out the door when we let the outdoor cats inside and immediately grabbed the cardinal's severed head in her mouth. We wouldn't let her back in with it, though, so she just stood there, staring in through the door, howling around a mouthful of cardinal head.

My cat immobilized a rat, then my dog comes along rolls on the rat and bursts its internal organs out through the ribcage.
