I tried to put it aside (into the vegetation) but it was already semi-dead, tried to push it but some drop of a yellow fluid were under him, I suppose it took some beating before

that was a Sphingidae (hawk moth) caterpillar. If it was on the ground, it was probably looks for some soft soil to pupate in. Dunno what species, but it looks distinctive enough that google would tell you
