Anyone know it it would well to get a cat while one lives in a one room part of a college suit? pets are allowed, but would only one room be too little space? its on the 4th floor so it cant exactly go out through a kitty door, and its also downtown with lots of traffic, i could of course get 2 so it wont be alone, but then wed be even more crowded in here i guess.

Are cats very sensitive to noise and smells? this isn't exactly a relaxed nice and quiet home, lots of people forcefully banging doors and other oddities is the norm here.

Wait till you move out. Not only is cooping a cat up in one room all day kinda mean, the smell alone will drive you and your roommates to distraction. Yes, cats stink.

I knew a couple who lived in an oldsmobile with four cats. The cats didn't seem to mind much, as they sleep about 20 hours a day anyway. But the smell was unbearable.
