Step 1: Drive to wilderness, bring shovel and dog in box
Step 2: Dig hole with said shovel
Step 3: Put box in hole with dog in it
Step 4: Bury, put something heavy on it, put a tombstone type thingy on top

It's what I've always done with cats.

Dumbass, you don't bury cats!
You have them mummified and buried with you.

If you have the money, you can put him in the freezer until you can get him cremated.
Seriously.

Vets usually will dispose of bodies as well. But his corpse will just be tossed around along with a bunch of other bodies before they are thrown into an oven.

Now I have a question.
What do you do when you have a cow, horse, other large animal, etc when it kicks the bucket? It'd take a lot of work to bury a horse. Or an elephant if you're managing a zoo.

It's damn hard to find a good mummifier that knows the proper practices and uses fine quality salts and rosin... I hear freeze-drying is the way to do things these days. You can just pop your kitty in the freezer until you are ready to begin your own journey into the West. Just make sure your tomb is equipped with proper cooling facilities. If you get a medium-sized pyramid, I hear they throw one in for free.

Agreed. If you were to die, she would eat your corpse.. it's called love.

Most local farmers that I know of just use a backhoe to bury them with.
Feed lots and factory farms have them ground up and added to the feed so they can spread deadly diseases, though.

That dog originated from /an/, not /b/.
