So, that would pretty much make Deinonychus the size the Velociraptors were in the Jurassic Park films. Besides, when people say "the size of X" they usually mean roughly its volume. Not its dimensions in direct resemblance. For example you might shape up the volume of a car to give a tail, legs, etc and still keep "the same size". Ass, talk, etc.
