I bought this cactus at trader joes today and have no idea of the breed or how to take care of it. can anyone help?

it's really good for sun burns and other skin related problems, you just need to water it regularly (4-5 times a week) and it need some sun light

should probably want to wait ill it's bigger for that. oh and try to plant it on the ground as soon as possible, cacti normally have extensive roots and may not grow properly (or at all) if the pot is too small; i mean, unless you want bonsai cacti.

My mom has tons of them in bases, and they grow pretty good, and she use them a lot, if you put them on the ground they will grow really, I mean reaaaaaaaaaaally big.

No they aren't. Cacti *are* a family, namely cactaceae. I'm not sure what family the aloes belong to, but they're monocots whereas cacti are dicots.
