>>92620 You do NOT get 'sick and weak' without both. No nutritionist would agree with anything you've said. If you are in a situation where every meal could be your last and you are malnourished and always hungry, yes, you need the nutrients and vitamins from meat. But, unlike cats, who NEED meat to be healthy (because they go blind otherwise), we can be perfectly healthy without it. I'm 22 and I've eaten meat all my life. It's when I realized how easy it is to not eat meat and still be healthy that I decided to stop. For most of us, it is a _choice_, not a necessity, and to argue otherwise is to exercise in denial. (Unless you can rationalize arguing against anatomy, physiology, chemistry and human biology.) Yes, human beings have canines, and canines are designed for eating meat and not plant matter. But human beings also have large brains that are, apparently, designed for solving problems and making dreams come true. (See: Air planes. People weren't given wings, but they were given the ability to create them. Also, see: submarines, space shuttles, air conditioning, mosquito repellent, toilet paper.) If you have regular access to a computer and the internet, odds are you do not live in a world where eating meat is for survival. It's for pleasure.
