One of my guinea pigs chatters its teeth at me whenever I approach the cage and scuttles away every time whenever I try to pet it. How can I train it to not be so fearful and stressed?

Also, what are some tricks or routines that I can teach to guinea pigs?

Hand feed it. Pet it without picking it up. If it bites when held, pick it up using oven mitts and hold it on a towel. That way you won't jump when it chews on ya and further re-enforce it's fearful behaviour.

You're trying to acclimatize it to you, once you're familiar it won't fear you.

Some guinea pigs, even ones tame enough that they call for attention when you walk into the room, will run when you try to pick them up. It's a personality thing.
