I would like to purchase some Giant Stag beetles, Atlas beetles, or Japanese Rhino ones.

Does anyone know of any website where they would ship the eggs or larvae in order to rear some of my own?

not the OP, but I have a similar question. I've been looking to get a queen ant, but haven't been able to find one on the internets. Also, anybody have ant colonies?

Holy shit. Crypt Lords exist in real life.

I keep catching them in Animal Crossing.

Hey when I was in Japan this summer, I went to a Toys R Us and they sell these little containers with those beetles inside. If it weren't for customs, I totally would have bought one. They're all the rage in Japan among little kids it seems.

They train them and make them fight eachother. It's pokemon, but in real life.

I think at least in the U.s. you need a license/permit. Customs is worried about invasive ant species. This is why ant farms don't give you a queen and the colony dies in a couple weeks.

As do I.

No, they wont allow them at ALL, same thing with the species of beetle I was hoping to acquire. Fucking laws, but they are there for a reason. :[

Go outside and find an ant hill, capture the queen. Or just get one when they grow wings and swarm.

It's illegal to ship queens, yep.
