Here's a few pictures I took today.
If you recognize the species, please do tell me what they are.
I'm not so good when it comes to naming insects.

looks like a 14 spotted ladybug. Propylea quatuordecimpunctata.

I want to say that's a red shouldered stink bug, but I think their wings are not that dark.

I can't tell what this is without looking at its back, but I like the picture a lot.
>>139790
What kind of web was it in, an orb web?
>> Anonymous
Also, where do you live? If it's outside of the US I can't ID the spiders.

Uh oh, lots of replies.

Firstly, I think the 14 spotted ladybug is correct.

>>139891
Stinkbug would sound correct, as children we used to hear stories about how they smell, so it's propably the same insect.

>>139894

I could spot no web, but it did use spider silk to move around in my room. I've spotted it about 10 times now. See attached photo for another angle.

>>139813
The "garden spider" is propably Araneus diadematus or something close.

Eep, wrong image file.
Here's the second angle of the spider.

I can't figure out what family it goes in. A wolf or ground spider maybe?

Count the legs if you don`t believe me...

What family is "Garden spider," pray tell? None, because it's a fucking vernacular term for orb weavers, which this spider>>140483most definitely is not. OP said it was wandering around using some silk to anchor itself, and did not build a web in the several days he's been observing it. In conclusion, you are a stupid fuck who should keep his ignorant butter-hole shut because he doesn't know shit about spiders.
Picture related, look at that fancy butt.

OP, where do you live?
