Should i be worried about this cat asiansushidude
Earlier this evening, i heard a cat meowing as though it was desperate for food. I being a cat lover immediately went outside to see what was up. I find a small Orange Tabby, that looks roughly like the image that i have posted. I tried really hard to catch it, because it was very very cold. I had managed to corner the cat, and was able to barely touch it, though it clawed at me. It managed to get away. Now the cat is somewhere out there in the cold. Should i be worried for it, and how can i catch this cat? Should i catch this cat? Thanks for your input

cats are for fat faggots, and since you're a gook you'll probably eat it
>> asiansushidude
you're disgusting, i am actually worried about the cat. The temperature right here is under 50 degrees F. Its very cold outside. And no, i am not a "gook" you racist bastard, and i won't eat it. I intend on bringing it to a animal shelter.

If you wanna catch the cat, use a blow dart in the thigh. It'll cripple it for a few weeks though.

Don't let the trolls get to you, they sometimes like to trickle over from /b/. I would be worried for the cat personally, if you see it again maybe try to coax it with some food to come with you. Cats can suffer from frostbite and worse so if it's really that cold and you can offer it shelter you could try if you'd like.

leave food out for the kitty

It might take some perseverance (or money) but you should be able to catch the cat. If it's freezing outside and the cat is that small, essentially a kitten, it has little chance of prolonged survival in the wild (and by wild I mean outside of human care). You could ask for a local animal shelter or similar if they have any advice on trapping a cat. They might even be able to provide you with a trap for the job (this depends much on where in the world you live, though).

Always mind that the cat could belong to someone. It may have run off and gotten lost. So if you do find it, it would be worth finding out if someone in your area has lost a cat that fits the description.

Thanks for the support. Even though i a wear a sweater, i am still freezing cold. i can only imagine how cold the little cat is. Man, haven't been able to sleep all night thinking about it. Yea, I'm going to leave food out, and try to catch it again.

I did some research on the matter, looking at profiles of Orange Tabby's at various ages. I am estimating that the one that i saw is roughly 5 - 6 months. I think someone may have abandoned it. Does anyone know its chances given this information? I pray that the cat is well, and that i can catch it soon. Thanks for the input.

It has probably found some temporary shelter to sleep in, so I doubt the cold will kill it all that soon. Even my cat begs to be let out despite the weather being freezing outside. So cats can and do survive cold and hunger for shorter periods. But long cold winters? No way. Just make sure you rescue him soon, and the risk of serious injury or illness will be small.

Silly anon. A cat that small can't eat a whole dog. A rat would do just fine.

let the weather freeze up the kittie abit before going for the kill.

I hope the awful fucking thing freezes to death somewhere near your bedroom window, so in the spring you can smell it rotting, making you cry like the little catfag bitch you are.

OMG. T-T i almost managed to get the cat, and it just ended up climbing into a car. The cat entered through where the tires and the axle connect. I tried to get it, but it climbed much deeper. T-T i waited for nearly 2 hours next to the car. I put out some Tuna as bait. It just kept meowing periodically, but it stopped meowing. I hope it didn't get stuck, or worse suffocate. Do cats immediately respond when the car gets turned on? Do you suppose the cat fell asleep and it will just wake up and get out in the morning. Thanks.

LOL! That just made my morning. Holy shit are cats stupid creatures.

The car was probably warm, so it was seeking a warm place to rest. From our own cats I can tell that they'll be running scared the moment the car is turned on. The only problem would be if it has managed to find a place it can't easily get out of fast enough. Do you know who's car it is?
>> asiansushidude
I wasn't my car thats for sure. I also don't know whose car it belonged to. T-T. I left a note saying that the cat had climbed into the engine of his/her car. I also found an article online that mentions how to get cats out of the engine. I pasted those onto the person's car door. I hope the cat doesn't get killed by the car. T-T

>>334039
Well, you've done what you can, so rest easy. If the cat can be saved it will be. I doubt even a cat-hater would want a kitten stuck in their engine.

Oh fuck yeah, I hope it screams when the car is turned on. I just hope it doesn't fuck up the poor guy's engine too much.
>> Anonymous
>>334053
Well, if the guy cares about his engine, he'll check it for any cats BEFORE he turns it on. But of course this is a bit too complicated for a /b/tard to understand.
>> asiansushidude
Oh No, Its starting to rain. I am now really worried about that kitten. T-T

On the SLIM chance OP is not a troll -

1. You trap a feral cat in a cage trap baited with smelly tuna or anchovies. Your local dog catcher (aka Animal Control) might loan you one.
2. If the cat settled near the radiator fan; which is a natural choice since it's a wide, somewhat flat area, his skin will be sliced off when the engine starts.

I have actual, real life experience with both 1 and 2. None of that is imaginary speculation.

Go old school. Put a box out with a stick holding it up tired to a string. Put some food in the back and wait for kitty to come out. Wait for the cat to eat some and pull the string. Don't pull it too hard ot the box will freak the cat out more. Expect to be scratched and bitten while you retrive said feral cat. notify us of how bad the cat attacked you with clear pictures so we can laugh at you for actually taking someone's advice on 4 chan.

On firday just half an hour after trick or treating was finished a little cat jump onto my porch. We thought it was another black cat but he was a smoky gray. We believe he was dropped off or got away from a bunch of idiot kids that thought it would be good for a sacrafice. (I live behind a big forrest area. And there are a lot of fucking dumb kids around doing stupid shit. One was cought on live TV for throwing out a firecracker out his window. The news woman almost shit herself, that was a few years ago. Fucking stupid) Anywaysthe cat isn't fixed and he's a holy terror right now. We will get him fixed and he is a part of the family until the economy tanks so much that we will actually have to eat our cats to survive.

>>334071
Yea ill try that, hopefully the cat is still alive, its freezing cold and raining right now. It might just decide to stay in that car. T-T.

You sound like a real cunt. Maybe YOU should crawl up into the engine and fuck your little cat friend. T-T

>> Crazy Cat Lady
OP, u can always create a little home for him/her in your back yard or porch (if you live in an apartment) i use this big rubber maid box, cut a hole in it, put some old blankies and junk in there to keep it warm. make sure u point the door/hole away from where the wind comes, or where rain could get in. put a bowl of water and food, once the kitty know where good food and water is it'll eventually warm up to you.
>> asiansushidude
>>334194
Well I would, but at this point, i think the kitten may have died. It hasn't been around all day. Sadness. T-T If it does turn up, ill make it a home.
>> Crazy Cat Lady
>>334362
just cuz he's not around for one day doesn't mean it's a lost hope. he may have a few different home he visits, as most strays "homeless" kitties do. once u build him a home and put food out, he'll stick around more.
