I has a mouse in my basement. Baby I think he's super super tiny. I have a no-kill trap the that mouse went in, then came out of, I'm guessing he's not heavy enough to spring the trap.

Leave him be, allow him to become your new friend who lives among you, but in the shadows.

Update. I has two mice
They are very young mice and the little shits arnt afraid of anything. I saw them running around again tonight. So I just reached out and grabbed one- then the other just climbed up into my hand. I dropped them in an empty beer pitcher and tossed a grape in for them. They are LOVING the grape. Really cute little shits.
So- Am I going to catch Haunta or something from handling them?

Clearer pic, please. Looks kinda look like a pygmy shrew in all the blur. What region do you live in?

and one more.
What should I do with them? no stupid /b/ bullshit either. I dont want to kill them? can I just dump them outside or will they get back into the house? how far away should I take them to let them go?

I live in central kentucky. and no promises on a clearer pic. i cant get a good pic through the glass, and second they wont sit still.

They wont survive on their own i dont think, if theyre young enough to be caught easily by you then they'll be easy prey for a faster bird or cat

they look like only a couple week old, get a tiny cage from petco and some bedding and keep them as pets. mice are incredibly easy to take care of

Take them to a wooded area at least 100 yards from your house and let them go.

If you keep them you might be able to use them to lure out the other 100 or so mice you probably have in your home.

aww so cute! They look like two baby peromyscus.

Also don't worry about haunta from them. You get haunta from breathing in the dust from dried P. maniculatus feces and urine. So you're more likely to get it by sweeping up your basement than handling them directly.

fuck, I was going to suggest switching to a kill trap but I lost the bloodlust when I read that they just walk into your hand.

If you are planning on keeping them make sure they are the same gender.

They're so adorable. Keep them.

OP here
I took them like a mile from my house, and every-one elses suburban home, and let them free in a little park area. But I'm pretty sure there are more. hopefully I can keep snatching them up and I wont have to resort to deathtraps.

It's okay. The mice will be duly eaten in the park. LOL BIRDS

If you've got mice that size they're breeding... Prepare for an infestation. Traps have never worked fast enough to eradicate mice in my house... GL.

I had mice in my room about 3 or so years ago pretty bad. Felt something crawling on my leg as I was sitting at my desk one time. Pushed out my chair to see a mouse crawling on my leg so I backhanded the thing and it slammed into the wall under my desk and died. Was a new experience...
