A whipscorpion is an arachnid but it is not in the same order as scorpions. They're more closely related to spiders

Pic is just a cave spider not a scorpion...giant bugs didnt die out but they evolved into smaller bugs, what keeps thm small is how they breath and the %s of gases in the air, less oxygen and they would grow to enormous sizes...
