Hey /an/, my cat has a really greasy fur. Any suggestions? And don't say "bath", last time I bathed her it nearly cost me my life.

Perhaps she needs a more high quality food. I've noticed some cats get greasy fur/flaky skin on food normally considered good like Iams, Science Diet, etc., so do some research and switch maybe.
I've heard of adding salmon oil to dog's diets to improve their skin condition (which in turn improves fur). Can anyone confirm if this would work for a cat?

Bath

If it is an inside only cat, try taking it outside and letting it roll in some dust/dirt a little bit. The dirt will absorb some of the oil allowing the cat to easily clean the oil off. It's a problem that my indoor cat has as well.

Iams will make your cat greasier still and smell worse. Their coat condition is based alot on their diet. Try some better cat foods but not the Purina/Iams/rendered reject garbage.
I swear by "wellness" brand. My cat is very healthy, great fur, and even smells nice thanks to natural cat foods.

Pour talcum powder over fur and brush intensely. Should clear that grease away and you don't have to give the cat a bath. If she doesn't like brushing either then get a second person to hold the cat while you brush/bathe her. Show her who's boss!

Seconded.

Talcum powder and brush, op. make sure to rub in the talcum powder to the skin so you get the grease where it's from.

Drop the cat in a solution of water, lime and sodium sulphide. Guaranteed to get rid of greasy fur.
