Does not appear to be any plant life topics here in the Animals and Nature area. Needs more forests and gardens to go with the animals. Here is a small portion of my indoor forest... There is a full grown tiger in there somewhere!
COMMUNIST!that aside, nice selection. do you ever have problems with gnats/aphids/other invertebrae?
Er.. oops.. forgot I had the flags out!And YES.. they have been my enemies for many years.. as well as fireants and rodents! Just fogged the place today... so far the flies seem to be gone.
>>328647FIREANTS?! I'll never go back to Texas again.
I use to live in Georgia. There was fireants all the time! Even in Winter. Mostly because there really was no Winter... some of those palms lived outside! Nice to have moved to a fire ant free area. About impossible to get them out of a potted plant.
you are pretty cool anonWhat is the name of that palmate plant centered in pic2, I'm ashamed to have forgotten?
I THINK it is a California fan palm. At least thats what the sticker said when I got it at WAll-Mart. I have some seedlings sorta like it of Chinese windmill palms. Those can survive some cold conditions.
I sure hope the bug fogger killed all the critters in my plants. I'd hate to find another one of these in there! Silver dollar sized spiders..
