Sup /an/ When I need to fart, if one of my cats is somewhere accessible, I fart right on their heads. They don't seem to mind at all, if they did, I wouldn't do it.

Anyone else do this with their pets?

my friend farted on my dog's head and he was really upset. He went and hid behind the couch.

True.
And if it doesn't count as cruel, then certainly strangely sick.

Why? I fart on my friends all the time. The cats don't bear the entire brunt of it.

Every time I fart, my cat complains chirpingly.

My cat has farted in my face on numerous occasions. I'd call what the OP is doing "perverted justice."

That's because YOU ACTUALLY TOUGHT HIM HOW TO DO IT.

I fear the army of face-farting animals that will arise from this behaviour in the future.
When your pets breed they teach the next generation how to do it and that humans like it! And if they play with other animals, they will teach them too!

One day, this world will be taken over by farting dogs and cats!

This is the thing. I have a friend who farts like right up his dog's nose. This guy has something seriously wrong with his guts, and the stench is sometimes unbearable for the rest of us. Now, they say that a dog's sense of smell is like a million times better than ours, what must the experience be like? I can hardly imagine. On the other hand, dogs will quite happily go and get a good lungful of another dog's steaming, freshly laid cable, apparently just out of interest, so maybe human farts seem weak and bland to them.
