I know this isn't /ck/, but they're yummy too. The tentacles are wonderful when marinated and fried in garlic butter. If you separate the body cavity, cut it and spread it out, you can cut shapes from it (like you would with gingerbread dough) for decoration. You can use the ink to make a delicious black risotto. If your guests are squeamish about eating tentacles, a crab is fine too.
