One of my friends has a dog (very similar to one in picture). Yesterday, his mom fed the thing a glazed donut (plain, no chocolate), but he's concerned about feeding dogs human food (a neighbor's dog died from eating something bad).Dog food is still probably the best thing to feed dogs, but are donuts safe? The dog seems to really enjoy the treat. No ill effects as of now.
Is it good for him? No. Will it do damage in the long run? Probably not.
I feed my golden retriever table scraps all the time, but never chocolate or grapes. He's been healthy all his life and the vet hasn't noticed anything yet, so I'd say a donut is probably fine.
No, they're definitely good for dogs. Feed him as many donuts as physically possible.By the way - the whole chocolate thing is a lie. Chocolate covered donuts are especially good for dogs.Cheers.
