Okay /an/, help me out here. I'm doing a project on lazarus taxa (organisms that were thought to be extinct but then suddenly turn up again, like the coelacanth and that bivalve I can't spell...gryphia?). One fellow I want to use I can't for the life of me remember the name of, so I can't do a search for its picture. It looks like a very angry shrew, with reduced ears, small eyes and a long snout. It's brown in colour and the most common picture of it has it sitting in a green blanket. Can anyone help?

Also, let's make this thread about Lazarus taxa. I give you Megladon. Not one of them, but awesome nevertheless.

True story: I went to high school with Megla Don. Not sure if it was girl or boy.
