Is it possible to make a black rose?

Food coloring? Spray Paint?

Need one for Valentines Day

Spray paint, can you say face palm.
maybe soaking in the food colouring it would give it a blackish look but not pure black.

With paint or dye, yes.

Naturally, no, I don't believe so. IIRC we can get pale blue roses, greenish yellow roses, and a dark purple, but no black.

Paint it black, with some blank paint you can keep it black. But do realise it take some effort to make one that keeps real black.

i know that if you buy a white rose and put food coloring in the water then the rose will change to that color, however to get it black you'll need to create black and not dark brown and keep the water that color heavily other wise it turn out grey. And i'm not 100% sure this will work but it will be your best chance and having it look real. spray paint i'm pretty sure will just wilt the rose they are very delicate.
