They aren't that expensive. Shop around and wait for sales and stuff. The most expensive sling I ever bought was $15

0_0 that price was a) for an adult female b) poecilotheria metallica
neither of which being cheap

Yea I could get slings all under 15 dollars but then I would only have g. rosea, obts, and b. vagans, or slings that are 1/4" or less

So give me advice on breeders to go to get a p. metallica for 15 bucks

WTH? Spiders are a lot cleaner than dogs or cats. They don't puke hairballs on the floor. They don't roll in shit. They don't lick their own assholes with the same tongue they use to lick you. Speaking of which--they don't get any form of saliva on you, nasty or otherwise. And, they don't smell.

No they just escape and kill your kids.

$0, because I'm getting a scorpion (Or 2)

You're right. Spiders don't do a single fucking thing.
Enjoy your novel spectacle.

Over $200 for a sling, and probably over 300 for an adult male.

I don't see why anybody who was smart would pay that kind of price though. They seem to be super popular even at that price. Which means in a year or two there will be so many people breeding them that their price will go down by probably 3/4. That's the thing with spiders they have hundreds of babies per pair.

Yes, but they're a spider.

What is the OP image of and why are they so expensive? If I want to look at a spider I'll just go in my shop, which is infested with k. hibernalis. Alternatively, I can go in the woods and look at n. clavipes or various other more interesting web building spiders.

Yeah, but you'd have a pet that scares more than half of the nation.
