That is definitely a brown recluse. They live almost everywhere in the united states, but people almost never see them because they're very careful to only move about when it's dark and quiet. Their bite is potentially very harmful if not treated, but many people are bitten and never know it.

The male Kuculcania spider, named after Kukulcan, looks very similar, but is much larger, doesn't have the same dark patch on its head, and doesn't have three sets of eyes. Also harmless. Ironically, the female looks like a huge black widow and is also harmless.

Bullshit. Brown recluses 'round here do not care whether they are seen or not. I find at least two every day in my house, just chilling on the floor. My mother's been bitten and had her leg almost rot off twice by them.

I have this superstition... if I don't squish any of them, they'll never bite me. Been working so far.

Same here. Where I live (tulsa) it isn't uncommon to see a brown recluse out in the open.
>> Anonymous
Right, I know, they're extremely common spiders, but most people who have them in their homes never know it. Under normal circumstances, the spiders will only come out to look for food when it's dark and quiet, plus they're small.

except its clearly not a spider

Female k. hibernalis looks nothing like a widow to anybody who knows anything about spiders, just most people don't know anything so they assume any black spider is a widow. It's ass is fucking fuzzy for crying out loud!

How the fuck did they get 2 blue lobsters?
>> Anonymous
>>262321
technically lobsters are blue. that one is either a young lobster or a crawdad. though it is really blue so it is most likely a river blue crawdad cuz the lake ones are more likely to have spots.
>> Anonymous
isnt that considered a blood sport and illegal? I dunno about it being illegal in japan but im just saying.. kinda sad to see that blue lobster die :[
