This cat keeps coming by my house, I stopped feeding it a month ago becuase it keeps leaving me dead mice and birds as presents on my doorstep but this thing just keeps coming back. I can't afford to have another cat so I can't take him in. How do I make it leave me alone /an/?

The 2nd one.

Stop feeding it. If it has so many extra birds and mice it'll be fine. Scare it a few times by yelling and sudden movements.
But how could you not want it? :(

Why don't you call the local shelter to come pick it up?

Wow, you really didn't read his post, did you?

but cant you tell it's showing you its love by giving you dead mice and birds as presents? You'll break its heart ;_;

1. Why don't you just shoot the cat while you're at it. Local shelters will just euthanize the cat after a period of time. The cat is doing fine, the cat is able to provide for herself by catching delicious varmints and sharing them with a human being.
2. I live in a neighborhood where there are several cats. One time I presumed two of them were simply strays but in the past couple of months I discovered they were simply being moochy and had a home. You'll break someone's heart having the cat caught, put in a cage then euthanized when her owners think "lulz she's out wandering".
3. She's not hurt or sick, she's just giving Anonymous some guilt.

Silly me! I forgot shelters exist just to kill animals and be mean.

I understand your point, but in states like Wisconsin, people have turned feral cats into a problem that have really had a negative impact on a lot of the native rodent and bird species.

More like an idiot. Do you know how overcrowded most shelters are because of the unwanted and stray animals? Especially cats. Russian and American prisons (more the latter nowadays) seem like luxurious estates in contrast to most animal shelters.
The situation can be so dire that euthanasia is the only way they can reasonably manage.
It's very sad.

Yes. I work at a shelter. Private shelters exist. No-kills exist (not that they usually have great conditions, so I wouldn't really suggest it). Fosters exist. Hell, Craigslist. I wasn't suggesting they dump the cat at an overcrowded municipal shelter. If the person is that desperate to get rid of the cat, they'd figure out a way.

OP here
I can't it actually belongs to my neighbors down the street who are total pricks and only let it in at night becuase it 'has fleas' upon my own inspection I could see their full of crap. Either way I've noticed the cat has been thinning slightly. I've looked into calling ASPCA or something and there's nothing anyone can really do in terms of helping it. They've even announced that they barely take care of it, as they saw me feeding it one day they rolled down the window of their overly expensive car (The owner is a divorced stripper with 3 kids whom she takes about as good of care as the cat. Either way shes making alot of money somehow.) and yells out "oh you can have the cat if you want, hun" and then speeds down the road at ninety miles per hour with an obnoxious giggle.

P.S. Thanks for making me feel guilty ;_;

Take it in for now and find someone trustworthy to take it.

Thing is that I don't want the cat. I have insuffecient jewgolds to take care of it and still be able to go home and have food.

My current four cats I've had since birth. They were born in my backyard and I've been looking for homes for a while. Too bad I forgot I was an anti-social faggot and don't have friends to dump these adorable kittens on.

Take the cat in. Find them good home.

I think you missed the point so I'll spell it out more clearly for you.

premise 1: >I can't (take it to the shelter) it actually belongs to my neighbors down the street

however: "oh you can have the cat if you want, hun"

If you are allowed to have the cat, you are allowed to do what you wish with it as a responsible owner. You feel you can't take it to the shelter because they own it, but they've also said that you are free to HAVE the cat. If as the new owner of the cat, you feel you can't take care of it, etc. etc. etc. You get where I'm going with this?

Alright, it sounds like it needs a home. You need to take some action in this if you want to do what's best for the cat.

Find a small local shelter (petfinder shelter search, select by state, etc) and contact them or post on Craigslist (NOT free-to-good-home unless you want to risk it being the next zippocat) and hope some good samaritan answers. That's what I'd do.

tell the owner to give you litter box and all the food (im assuming she at least has that?)and if u really feel guilty then you should do something about it,like pawn shit for food moneys. if not then let it be a cat and eat birds and mice,they dont mind.

take it into your house and fuck its brains out. trust me it wotn come back after that.
