ID this bug! Anonymous
(pic definitely not related)

Caught a strange looking bug in my bathroom last night, and would like some help identifying it or, at least, finding out if its dangerous or is a pest.

From the top, the body looks like a pear, with the head being at the smaller end, although I can't see any eyes. The body is actually flat, measuring about half a millimeter thick, 1-1.5mm wide and 2-2.5mm long.

There are four legs on each side, and two giant claw-like formations extending out from around its head, like a scorpion. The claws are about 2.5mm long, at least as long as its body.

Although its very small and probably insignificant, I have never seen a bug like this before here in Canada.
