How do you get your small animals to quit biting?

remove their teeth

Depends on what small animal.

If mouse or rat, throw it at a wall every time it bites you.

Mother fucker will survive and just come back to its cage.

Don't do anything stupid like throw them against a wall or drop them when they bite. That will only make them more afraid of you.
Seriously though, rodents do like to be handled. They like anything to do with getting out of their teeny widdle cages. Take the animal out of the cage, give it a treat, and put it back in. That way it will get used to LIKING coming out of the cage... therefore, will bite less.

if it bites you, just put it back in the cage for like 30 mins. then take it out again.

Also, wash your hands well...if you smell like food, they're gonna bite. Or if you pet another animal before handling them, they may bite out of fear.

Yeah, make sure you don't smell like anything edible. Wash 'em good with some stinky soap to make your hands unappealing.

I suggest laying your hands flat in their cage, palms, up. Leave it there perfectly still until they venture up to YOU. Don't chase them with your hands and don't grab at them.

If you're not that patient, you can try using a toilet paper tube. Once they're in it, lift it up and hold your hand out in front of it so they walk out onto your palm.

What small animal are you talking about, OP?
