I just had my cat put down. He was blocked, and I was completely broke so i couldn't pay to even have him operated on. I've had him for about 11 years, and pretty much can't remember anything before I got him. It hasn't even been 12 hours and I'm dying without him. If you have a pet, and you love it, please take care of it the best you can. I know there were things I could go to have saved him, and I feel so shitty knowing that I didn't, but I showed him all the love i could.

He was "blocked"? Is that another way to say "constipated"? Or did he swallow a yawn ball or something?

When they don't have a perfect diet, older male cats are prone to urinary blockage because their kidneys can't dissolve the salts and minerals and other stuff. If untreated they can't urinate, which leads too cardiac arrest.

Did you take the body home and fuck it after it was put down? This way ti cant claw your penis off. THEN WHOS IN CHARGE NOW!?

That really sucks OP. :( I had the money to at least get my cat unblocked ($800) but he has a inflamed bladder right now so it still hurts him to pee but the antibiotics are working so.

What would be a perfect diet for a caft? My cat gets Inova and other spensive kibbles in addition to Merrick cat food.
