In a box. Anonymous
She's not as spiteful when she's in her box. The large eyes are 'overpressurized' (Glaucoma). She's slowly going blind because of it. Also, the vet bills are non-trivial, since we have to take her to an animal opthamologist. Yeah. An cat eye-doctor.

sorry if I sound flippant, but your cat's hueg-eyed expression really reminds me of this pic for some reason. D:

No shoppage. She actually appeared in a Vet. book as an example.

no officer, see, this pound of hash is for my cat.

This is a brilliant idea. How long does it take for a cat to go blind, anyway? I'd think they could still use their whiskers to find out where they're going, right?

I'll never understand people that waste their money mantaining sick pets. Its just a goddamn cat, put it down and get a new one from the shelter

Even a blind cat can make a fine housepet, as long as you don't let it out.

Blind cats can even catch mice! It's possible since they have a keen hearing and all those whiskery hairs (vibrissae) in different parts of their body. They don't need to see it as long as it makes sounds and causes the air to move. Air movements sensed through the hairs also allow them to move around objects.

Her name's Tulip. Actually, my GF refuses to watch `cartoons'. This is Tulip in her Devil's costume (my GF is one of *those* people). She mostly rolls around & ignores it.
>> she CAN see Anonymous
Tulip can see just fine, actually. This cat means the world to me. I could never put her down. Just because she has big eyes does not justify her being put down. She is one of the most clever cats I have ever seen.

Besides, another day another joint... JK

My dog recently developed some massive cataracts. He's now blind, but is in fine spirits and gets around surprisingly well.

/r/ more pictures of Tulip and her mistrusting eyes.
