So I was walking on my campus the other day when I saw my freind standing on the grass, with some sort of hawk with his back turned at my freind about 2 feet away from him. I went to see what was up, and when I got closer, I noticed that the hawk was stretching flesh from the ground. Apparently, he was eating a squirrel. It was pretty fascinating that the hawk didn't fly away from either of us. It seems that animals are more humble at my school...
i've been seeing a couple on the drive to the store since there's a half mile of nothing for the last several years. the other night i just walked there and noticed a hawk watching me the whole time. they really don't give a shit.
What a boring story

We have a red tail hawk that has lived on east and south central campuses for the last three or four years. He almost flew into me once trying to get a squirrel.
