Ok /an/ I need some help. I am having reoccurring problems with ringworm. Now, this is blowing my mind because I got the cream from the doctor, it went away completely, and came back in a different spot. I am an incredibly clean person. Too clean maybe. I shower twice a day, wash my hands at least 40 times a day (yes I have terribly dry hands because of it). Ok so I treated that ringworm, it went away and now I have it in another spot. 3 different spots of ringworm within the span of a month.

So I called the vet and asked them how to know if my cat has it, because I didn't want to spend money on a vet visit if he doesn't since I just took him a month ago for a scratch near his eye. They said check for bald patches. Well, he has none. But I have noticed sometimes he does this thing where he chews at his left paw. I looked on the bottom of it and there is a small pink looking wound. Can cats even get ringworm on their paws?

Sorry I know it's long but thank you for any help you can give me.

Of course they can. If you're getting reinfected and you're not around any other animals, it's probably coming from your cat.

Also, washing too much like that can spread the fungus as it's not killed by washing.

I think it's Neko-Coneko. Coneko (or maybe Koneko, I fail), is Japanese for kitten. Weeaboo, etc etc.

And man, sorry to hear about the ringworm thing. Kitty ringworm medicine is like eighty fucking dollars and you have to feed it to them with a syringe. >.< Luckily my cats are dumb and will eat wet food even if I put yucky medicine in it.

If you're wanting a cheaper remedy, Black Walnut extract, or the juice of the fleshy outer skin of walnut. Not English, Black.
The tree actually uses chemical warfare, makes the ground around it inhospitable for flora to flourish. Fungus isn't too keen on it either.
I recommend the extract over the skins, extract doesn't stain.
My cat likes to kneed when she's petted. So everytime she did I'd end up with ringworm where her claws dug in past my pants. So I wiped them down with the juice everyday, both on her paws and my spots. Got rid of it for good.
