Nah, head is too big. I don't know, really. It looks like a mix between collie and dachshound.

she was wandering around a liquor store and she ran away from me at first (into a residential dead end)...she seemed pretty confused and i know she didnt live in the dead end street since she couldnt decide which house to hide in. then when i went down to my knees and called her she slowly came.

Definitely a sheltie. I have one that looks almost exactly like that.

It's a sheltie. Used to have a dog similar.

Yeah, that nervous attitude definitely confirms the breed. Shelties are skittish as hell.

i found the owner! yay for sheltie! i was driving around the area i found her and i found 2 huge signs that said "LOST SHELTIE".

it's great that you found the owner so quickly

a week ago there was a husky sitting on my doorstep. a purebred somewhat groomed husky. it was awesome. she was WAY TOO hyper though, and it took 5 days to find the owner. apparently she had been lost for 4 months, but her nails were trimmed so i guess someone else was taking care of her

Huskies aren't that bad. Arctic and antarctic research teams often eat them. Huskies can pull the weight of extra food for the entire team on a sledge from point A to point B. On the return trip from B to A, a few (presumably the least relaible) dogs can be eaten, since the stock pile of food is diminished by this time, and there is less weight to be pulled. Sustenance + fewer mouths to feed.

They are reported to be both delicious and nutritious.
