hello thar /an/ , first time im asking for help here.
i just got my first kitty, she is about 4-5 months old (not sure) got it from a friend.
she is very docile, lets me carry her and stuff, but as soon as we got to my place she hid behind a suitcase in my room and shes been there for a while now.i guess she is just scared of the new place...should i just let her stay there until she feels ok and strats going around on her own?
i'll post pics of her soon :]

yes, it's normal for kitties to hide when they change home. our cat hid in a pillow case for 3 days. after 4-5 days they get used to it.

Yep, it's perfectly normal. Also, you should keep her indoors and provide a litter tray for maybe a week, just so she knows where home is, and where she gets fed, otherwise she'll probably scoot when let outside.
Pic not really related.

My cat did the same thing. Perfectly normal. My cat hid in a corner in the bathroom for a day or three. I just kept his litter and food in there until he was bold enough to venture outside.

I missed him sleeping with me those few days, though ;-;
