The Florida Aquarium has several Isopods on exhibit, in unpressurized aquariums; the Fort Worth zoo also has a couple. The temperature stays about eight degrees celsius, so they need to stay cold. They are also kept in the dark.
Apaprently, they eat small fish, worms, sponges, etc. Basically, whatever they can get their mouth pieces on, since food where they live is scarce. Dried shrimp and fish food work in captivity; its probably not best to keep them in an aquarium with fish swimming around and sponges and such as decoration, as they can adapt rather well to both a surplus of food and a lack of food.
I've been looking in scientific journals, looking for one that has their life span; although I even perused some from the 19th century, none stated how long they live.
