Is it normal if he looks like he's having a full-on seizure?

My cats do that all the time.
I think they dream about being a lion stalking gazelles in the African savanna.

My cat will, sometimes, go into full body twitching and even make noises. Sometimes it wakes him up, like he was having a nightmare.

He will even go into the really deep sleep in my lap, where he goes completely limp. First time he did this he hit his head on the arm rest and didn't respond.

I thought he had died in my lap but, I saw he was still breathing. He woke up while I was trying to put his head back into a comfortable position.
