Hey /an/

Tonight I was walking my girlfriend home.

A about an 8th of the way there, a cat came out of a house. It was a black/turtleback cat, and it was really, really nice and affectionate. It kept rubbing us, meowing and purring(sometimes both at once!)

It had a tag and a collar, so it wasn't a stray, but it started following us. It crossed two roads, and before long it was getting confused and lost. It followed us through a carpark, too. My girlfriend decided to head on ahead so she wouldn't miss her train(But she did anyway D:), so I had to take the cat back home. It wanted to follow her, so I had to pick it up and carry it away for a little while.

Then it just lay down for a while. Eventually it started to follow me, although it kept laying until we got out of the carpark.

On the way it kept going into the bushes until it found the proper place to go to the toilet, and it even buried the droppings. It was obviously a well-trained cat.

A little while after this, disaster struck. Good cat went on the other side of a hedge for a moment, and then another cat came out. It was a black-tipped creamy white cat, and it started to moan and hiss at Good cat. Then they started fighting, and good-cat got scared under a car. This was well outside Good-cat's territory, and the new Evil-cat was just waiting under the next car, so that it could savage good-cat some more. I had to scare it off before good-cat would follow along (on the other side of the street). When it crossed the road it almost got ran over...so it hid under another car. Eventually it started to follow me again, and despite being really worried and cautious, it made its' way back to its' territory, and when it was outside the house it came from, it just lay down and relaxed. I made it home safely after that, as, hopefully did my girlfriend(she's still on the train at the moment.)

My girlfriend decided to head on ahead so she wouldn't miss dinner(her parents get real mad D:), so I had to take the cat back home. It wanted to follow her, so I had to pick it up and carry it away for a little while.

Then it just lay down for a while. Eventually it started to follow me, although it kept laying until we got away from the playground.

I got home fine, graded some papers, and went to bed.

The cat was probably in heat, that's why it followed you.
