>>183356 Last I recall, planarians are quite fragile. Our 11th grade biology class (2001?) had some, and we put them in depression slides to observe under low power microscopes. The only problem was that we used tap water. ~ 30 seconds after immersion, they stopped moving. Shortly after that, their bodies can be seen to literally disintegrate (instead of smooth, it turns fluffy, sort of like cotton).
