Here's some for-home advice. This may sound gross but when your cat has diarrhea, take a stick or something and poke at it. If it looks like it has mucous, blood, is green, or has worms in it (they don't have to be alive), your cat needs an antibiotic that you can only get from the vet. If you go to the vet, take a stool sample with you.
Also, since your cat has diarrhea, go out and buy a small bottle of a juice for small children that has electrolytes in it (in the pharmacy isle, ask a pharmacist if you cant find it). Put some of this in the cats water and make sure they are drinking. I'm not sure about the limping. Also, if you can post what antibiotic you are giving the cat that would help.
