/an/ I have a small problem.

My cat slipped, and out of fear ran about wildly and got himself stuck in one of those fly catching tape strips.

Myself I had placed the strip elsewhere, but it seemed a moron thought it would be wise to place it near the spot where my cats eat (and most flies reside).

I got the strip out of the cat, and proceeded to try to wash it and cut out the most disgusting clobs of hair afterwards.

The washing procedure didn't go as planned, but I have washed quite a bit. What do I do now?

Put some vegetable oil on it. Try it in the bathtub, you'll have to wait a few minutes after putting it on for the stuff to dissolve. So good luck holding the cat during that time so he/she doesnt lick it. Then wash the area/cat how you normally would (cat shampoo? or mild soap) then dry the cat.

good luck
