in after Wendy whippet

I really, really like them. I think they're one of the most gentle amongst dogs, and although they are very loyal to their master, they won't follow him or her mindlessly. I like that.

ALSO WTF THEY RUN LIKE THE WIND AWESOME.

The funny thing about skinny running dogs like whippets and greyhounds is that they're really, really hot to the touch. It's probably just the thickness of their coats (or lack of it), though, since most longer-haired dogs of any size don't feel so hot.

There are a few people who visit the local dog park with their dogs like that, some of them gotten early and some rescued racers. Some of the time they play, and some of the time the owners spend walking the dog around the perimeter of the park, building up slow-twitch muscle.

I have a rescued greyhound or greyhound mutt, he never raced was just picked up in a park, and he is very hot to the touch. When he lies down next to you, or on you, you will sweat quite a bit wherever you are touching him, it's like having your own heated blanket.

I always assumed he just ran hotter than a normal dog because I've never noticed weimaraner's or great dane's with equally short hair feel that hot.

They do feel like little space heaters. Apart from having no undecoat, maybe their metabolism is slightly more active than that of other breeds because they can't store fat that well? I dunno lol.

Also I think that next to corgi's, they're the only breed with buttcheeks.

So ... think this product would sell?
Buy my whippet heatsinks.

~~~SUCKERS!
I read somewhere that greyhounds and whippet types were once used for snuggling with ppl who were ill, esp with arthritis....the heat helps to keep pain and stiffness away.
They're alright if you like puny shivery dog. They don't really seem to be of much use to anyone. Vets love them because they have super-thin skin and delicate bones and they come in almost more than any other breed. :)
