Been on a chameleon kick lately thanks to a recent employment, but wondering if there are any Herp Pet Rescues in the NJ, tri-state area.

>>144135Thanks, we know you can repeat 4chan culture, great, now stfu.
Herpes.
Have you taken care of a chameleon before? They are difficult reptiles to take care of, especially if you have no prior experience.
oh shit, you mean tropical lizards with prehensile tails aren't indigenous to newark?
>>144166I've done the herp thing before..and currently and I am aware of the care they require...this is not simply some fleeting interest hence why I would actually like to adopt instead of just buying another shitty animal from another shitty pet store..like the one I work at.
>>144174Okay.In that case, get the tank all set up long before even looking for a chameleon. You've got to make sure everything's working now (it needs to be humid, and have a dripping water source for one) and it really sucks to bring the animal home only to realize the fucking water spout doesn't work like it's supposed to and leaks all over the fucking place.http://www.anapsid.org/societies/newjersey.html
>>144206I know I know I know. I'm not new to herp care.
That is so cute! x
>>144257I feel your pain, herp care is a bitch. It sucks that the medicine can only suppress the sympyoms, amirite? We'll never have a cure, will we, Anon?
>>144257>>144296I lol'd so hard...
