Looks like a brown recluse to me. We had lots of those in my old apartment in Lawrence, Kansas. I would kill it and put out some sticky traps if I were you.

Note, all mentions of brown recluses are likely to be trolls around here. They are the "battletoads" of /an/ so to speak.

Here is a picture of an actual brown recluse for comparison. Your specimen is merely a common harmless house spider.

from what i understand, they are found throughout florida and their range extends beyond our border.
