What is that? A dwarf lynx?

bobcat

Neither. Google them and you'll see that its to thin and doesn't have enough hair on the sides of its face.

The file name is 'perhapsold' so this was probably taken from a breeder's website. Its probably a mix or some sort of exotic cat.

i am op, i chose the filename myself and i know it is a bobcat, because a friend plans to buy one

I'd have imagined that's what you'd get if you managed to crossbreed a bobcat with a domestic, but a bobcat that lanky and small... I never knew they had that much variation.

it has just not grown up yet

lol, bobcats

Its still not a bobcat. It's ears don't even have the tuff on them.

It's probably a secret hybrid breed of bobcats and housecats that hasn't been made public yet. Just you wait, those things are going to hit the market any day now.

That means it's a "Bobbycat," or a "Bobbicat" if it's female. When she grows up, she'd be a "Robertacat."

It's an Ocelot.

Of course it is. But we are talking about the cat outside the window, no the one inside.

Not an Ocelot

American Shorthair, looks like.
>> Anonymous
That's not a bobcat, unless it's been hybridized with a domestic cat.
>> Anonymous
its a bobcat, its just a juvenille.

Probably a southern subspecies. Those tend to have shorter fur.
>> Anonymous

Its not a bobcat, lynx or ocelot.
The fur is to short, even for the any subspecies of bobcat. It doesn't have the fur on the ears like all bobcats do(even kittens). Fur looks to bright.. I don't even know where anyone came up with ocelot.
It doesn't even look like a pixie bob(bobcat mix), but its possible its one. Obvious some time of exotic cat, mixed or not.

The markings behind the ear hint that it has to be at least a hybrid of some sort. If hybridization between bobcats and domestics weren't unproven, I'd say it's a bobcat mixed with a shorthair, possibly an oriental.

Looks like a fishing cat.

OCELOT (or however you spell it)

How many times do we have to spell it out: it's not a fucking ocelot!
>> Anonymous
>>219238
I want an ocelot, they are so damn cute :/

Only downside is, they would rip and tear someone apart, like um... me, cause they are still wild.
>> Anonymous
IT looks like it has a short tail, but it's not fuzzy enough.

Serval

No, it's definitely not a serval either.

Everything but the face looks serval-ish.
Bobcat/Serval?

There is reportedly a lynx-serval hybrid in existance. It's possible, at least.
