Enlarge the pic, and look inside the circle, sort of to the right. You'll see something crouching near the treetrunk, looking at you.

Dobhar-chu here, pic is the headstone of a grave of a person that the Dobhar apparently killed. The womans husband killed that Dobhar, then as it died it let out a whistle. Another one rose from the creek/river and attacked him until people came to his aid.

It's a cat (or dog) with its skin removed what the fuck is so "crypto" about this? >_>
>> Anonymous
>>215845
lol, no. Animals don't look like that when you remove their skin. Not to mention, dogs and cats don't have fingers. Probably a hoax or some severely deformed and sick animal but not as simple as 'an animal with its skin removed'.
>> Anonymous
>>215849
huh? have you ever seen such an animal with its skin removed?
think again.

That is a rotting skinned cat.
Definitely.

The form of its body and especially the skull speak for this.
The feet look exactly like paws with their skin removed and the length of the body, as well as the muscles you are able to see.

Also its belly was cut and someone stomped on it with a boot so the guts came out. :(

its mummified. google mummified cats and you'll see that its not a cat.

its some sort of mustelid.
>> Anonymous
>>215858
i take that back, it probably isn't mummified.>>215857
dammit, look at the front legs. do they are to short to be a cat's and its body is to long.

these are cat paws. they look nothing like that.

Those are not SKINNED cat paws.
Skin a cat first before stopping by again.

Also: Pic was the cat before it was skinned. :)

Look at it, the body is NOT too long (even if it was: Longcat is loooong).
Also the legs are not too short.

You may say that because you think of cats as those cute fluffy predators that catch little mice in your apartement.
Now, why is it fluffy?
Because most of the volume is made only with its fur.
Remove the fur.

Also, cats tend to hump their backs when they are still alive, so of course they seem shorter.

Hold a cat like on the longcat-pics and you will see that they cats tend to be pretty long and have relatively short arms.

Also, someone STEPPED on this cat (you can even make out the position of the kick in front of its back-legs) so it was a bit flattened and got even longer!

Forgot the pic of the unskinned cat.

Cat digits don't get longer when you skin them.
>> Anonymous
Allright, I compared>>215873
with>>215673
and the similarities are obvious.
Poor kittie. :(

It's a skinned cat. The back leg looks exactly like those of the cat.
The length of the part between front-leg and forehead fits.
The length of the body doesn't fit to the dead one but I've seen longer cats plus that dead kittie had pressed its guts out. :/

The skinned paws also look like paws if you look closely (especially the back paws).
The front paws are a bit irritating but if you look closer you can make out the claws and the little broad pads (don't know the english word for the leather-like little pads on a paw that touch the ground when they walk) especially on the right paw.
The left front-paw looks jsut different because it was turned left a bit, but you can see that it could be a paw, remember: that is a skinned cat, of course it'was very thin, it's only the bone with a bit of muscle around it, there's no leather-skin and there's no for at all!

what are digits?
>> Anonymous

>>215673
Yes, actually, and after removing the hide the musculature and bones in the joints are a lot more easily distinguished than in the pic. You also tend not to get so many wrinkles unless it's been soaked in formaldehyde or a like preservative.

The pic looks more like some putrefying mustelid with severe mange, like the 'chupacabra' coyotes that are commonly found completely bald (much less hair than in the pic) in Texas.
