Here are some moar pics to add to your GBH thread. I got within 4 feet of this guy and he was not perturbed at all. I watched him/her for almost an hour and he caught two minnows just by standing there waiting. Awesome bird is awesome. And brutal as shown by this none original content>>259999:-P.

And by brutal I (>>260157) also mean fukken smert. He was just sitting there (bottom right of foto) when a herd of about 6 kids comes screaming and carrying on (its a public garden) and never notices the thing.

not OP, but Anhingas are great birds to watch too. They spear fish on the end of their beak. Sometimes they drop the fish :( I took this at a park in Florida over Christmas.

They are not as pretty as GBHs though.....This one be a' chargin' his/her laser!!

SNAKE BIRD! :D
I saw one in Florida when I was about 7-10 or so. Also saw an Egret, althiough I don't remember what species. Probably a Cattle Egret.
