I have a fluval 104 and 304. Both are leaking. Is there any advice for fixing this problem? Is this a common problem?

You must evacuate your vault immediately! The water chips are failing!

I would run to an automotive store and buy some gasket maker. I've used a gasket maker for an old motorcycle engine and it worked excellent. The makeshift gasket worked excellent four thousands of miles til I sold it. I'm sure it's still holding up.

OP here. I'm not really looking for alternate pumps, but for means by which I can fix my current ones.

Honestly, Fluvals suck.....even their smaller submersible filters suck...... get EHEIM filters. I got a classic model running for 5 years straight with no replacement parts or anything.

Yes, Eheim or JBL rule.

EHEIM OR GTFO OP

Eheim's are awesome, but from what I've read the ECCO model is shit. I have a classic because every forum I went to had people saying how they've had theirs for years. Only downside is the loose media but that can be fixed.
