I had a Turtle. After about five years it became obvious she wasn't going to stop growing and that we simply couldn't give her the environment she needed, so we donated her to the local Aquarium.Moral of the story, do you're research before getting any pet. I wish we had, but at least I knew her while I did.

I had a red-eared turtle (i think that's what they're called) a long time ago.I called him Mr. T.My dad was a science prof at the local High School so we kept him in a tank in one of the bio labs. Then one friday afternoon some idiots left a pile of paperwork on top of the part of the tank lid that had his breathing holes.He was dead when we got back on monday.
