ITT: Capsicum
Capsicum is apparently a chemical evolved in chili peppers to deter their consumption by mammals so that their seeds are eaten by birds and spread wider from the source (birds do not feel the heat from peppers). Apparently this strategy has not detered the eating of this plant by one mammal, people, especially a certain subset of humans that prove they are badasses by eating this small fruit. My question here is ARE HOMO SAPEINS THE ONLY MAMMAL THAT EAT SPICY CAPSICUM PEPPERS???

capslock is cruise control for emphasis, in b4 those fucking peppers, mudskip not related

He said no such thing. He only likened parrots to the stupidity of humans.

Except birds are somehow immune to the effects of capsaicin, and thus they don't feel hot for them at all.

OP's point was that Capsaicin was developed as a mammal-deterrent, but it doesn't prevent humans from actively seeking them out for the stuff that was meant to keep mammals away.
