hey /an/
I have a question for you.
I have a guppy here in a sobe bottle (sorry the pix a little blurry) and I am wondering if it will live. The bottle is, I believe, big enough for such a tiny fish, but I'm more concerned about the oxygen transfer.
For all of you out there that think this is animal cruelty or something like that, let me remind you it is a fish, and it is perfectly content so long as you feed it and give it clean water.
Thanks.

Enjoy your dead fish.

Indeed, enjoy your dead fish.

Even if everything elsewould be ok, it has way too much space to swim. It's general health will collapse due too little excersice.
And it has no hiding place->stress->we all know what stress does.

No, your fish will die.
Guppies need at least 5 gallons of filtered water to be able to survive, and that doesn't mean they're happy.

Enjoy your dead guppy asshat.

It will die shortly.

It will suffocate. There's not enough oxygen being disolved into the water.

get an O2 pump/bigger tank.
theyre not expensive, and the life of your fish depends on it.

Just get a regular 10 gallon tank, 5 gallon if you're lazy, buy a filter, air pump, light, and you're set.

If not, dead fish, etc.

Its not getting air, so to give it air dump a bit of water out of the bottle so that its 1/4 air and then shake it hard!
Also enjoy your happy health fish and ignore all the retarded bleeding hearts in this thread.
