my mom was fishing and a bat flew into her fishing line and somehow the line went through the membrane of her wing. i was successful in removing the line from her wing and put her outside in an orange tree. i'm concerned as to if i should give her more attention. problem is i don't have anything to keep her in. atm she is still in the tree also if i do find something to keep her in what should i feed her and how would i go about feeding her? plox help!

If it's a fruitbat, try giving it fruit.

If it can fly, then let it go. If it can't fly, then you probably can't take care of it. It might eat whole fruit, but I bet it really wants insects. You should try to get in contact with a rescue organization. Unfortunately bats with damaged wings are usually either fine or have to be euthanized.

It isn't a fruitbat. Almost all bats in the continental U.S. and ALL bats in Florida are insectivorous. Beetles, moths, and mosquitoes.
