>>69993
It's a slow-worm, its a kind of lizard, its not a snake, it hasn't got legs though.

And it's the onely ''snake'' that can lose it's tail and grow it back, I used to catch them when I was still a young boy.

I guess it qualifies for this thread, that a lot of people seriously think dolphins are a kind of fish.

But then there are people who think humans are a mineral instead of ape, so...

Thats really a screenshot for the upcoming Legend of Ecco: The Dolphin of Time game, which mixes the Ecco the Dolphin: Tides of Time game with the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time game, resulting in an awesomely expansive game where you control a sword and shield weilding dolphin attempting to save the Tri-Force from the Vortex Queen. That chest probably contains the Compass for the aquatic dungeon that Eccolink is in.
Its probably from an old shipwreck. Lots of stuff is on the ocean because of those.

Oh, you'd be surprised. Quote that follows is from a site I came across the other day.

>As was Pam Thompson when she wrote this concise rebuttal of our answer to the question "Which of these is not a mammal?"

>"the question re mammals - all the answers - shark, whale, dolphin - are
mammals"

>One feels sorry for Pam in so many ways, but particularly because she had actually taken the time to do some research before braving the perils of mental activity. But in true ******** fashion, when informed of her error, she tried to shift the blame onto someone else

>"And I did check out the info on sharks - on the internet - got some
bad info - go figure (overseas' site)."

(I put the **s in myself to avoid drama)

"The Dumb America Award singles out someone who deserves particular recognition for distinguishing themselves in the cause of demonstrating American stupidity. Please nominate your candidates for this prestigious award by emailing us here"

That's a terrible example.

It's not demonstrated as a common misconception held by a lot of people.
It's shown as an example of especially blunderous ignorance and stupidity.

Dolphins are fish (pic related).

What you are referring to is a porpoise. The only mammal that can/should be called "dolphin" is the Atlantic bottle-nosed dolphin. Anything else similar is a porpoise.

That's a dolphinfish. The only kind of dolphin without the word "fish" in the name is a mammal. And I seriously do not believe you are insinuating that the imbeciles that think dolphins (or porpoises or whatever sea mammals) are fish even know dolphinfishes exist.

"Dolphins are fish (pic related).

Please refrain from posting your erroneous opinions as fact. There are many species of dolphin - many more in fact than there are of porpoises.
