My ball python has what looks like a piece of shed stuck to his eyeball, i have tried to remove it with a wet Q-tip but it will not come off. I know that if left on can constrict the eye ball and cause blindness. Does anyone know of any other method of removing the shed? or should I just hope it will come off on the next shed cycle.
Pick up some natural canola oil at your grocery store. Blot it carefully with a Q-tip, the canola oil should dissolve the dead skin.
man, the same thing happened to my ball python all the time!
cant you get the snake into a bowl of water and soak it (I see them go in there in petstores) I would think thats how they take care of that?
Scotch Tape. Roll it around your finger sticky-side-out, and go back and forth over the eye. Eventually it'll pick it off.
>>87546canola oil dissolve dead skin?? dont be a retard, if you own any snakes sell them as you dont know shit!if the eyecap is still not off just up the humidity and it will come off at the next shed.
