dear /an/

my friend has a pomeranian, full breed, and a nice - almost perfect blonde coat.

every time i come over i play with the dog because his dog is just an overall perfect pet.

hes 3 years old and he never gets a bath but looks healthy, mainly because he swims in the pool.

now, /an/, what do you think of the pomeranians?

personally, they're my favporite of the small breeds.
Now, is this a toy pom? or your basic pom?
i personally prefer the smaller ones.
But if you're thinking of getting one, i can definatly say it's in no way a bad choice ^_^
just do your research to learn the basics of the breed in general and now just your friends dog =P

op here, i personally would like toys because i have always been the person whom likes smaller animals, mainly because large dogs like german shepards are harder to take care of, they need more food, and the whole thing just ends up costing more.

go for it then ^_^
they're an adorable breed. My grandma had one for the longest time and she was by far my fav. even out of my own pets.

a teacup pom (under 5lbs) is probably what you want. they are very fragile, but adorable.

I consider my pom a toy, even tho he is about 15lbs. I jog with him often, so it is mostly muscle.

We had one when a friend of the family had puppies. Since we lived in the country and our dad was old fashioned (no dogs in thew house) he was an outside dog. He ended up pretty much running the neighborhood and was the most awesome little bastard ever. His name was Tiny.

Then he got hit by a semi :(
