PetFinder 2: Success! Anonymous
Hello /an/

If anyone remembers from the other week, I was griping about how hard it's been to find a decent home for two guinea pigs (that's them in the pic). Well good news - I finally got a legit email and met with the people the other day. I was told they already had two male pigs but that doesn't mean they were taking good care of them, thus a visit was in order.

To my amazement upon entering the prospective home I saw a huge bag of timothy hay. Off to a good start. I saw their pigs, both healthy and in a large custom made cage. They knew what veggies to give the pigs, they knew how to cut nails, I spied a phone number on the fridge that said "vet". Success! Finally a good home. So now this couple's had the pigs for 4 days and the wife calls me with updates. Everybody's getting along and doing great. A happy ending :D

tl;dr Adopted two guinea pigs to a good home... now post your pigs!!!!

OP here. Don't bother. I'm not offended by pictures of cooked guinea pigs, it's part of the normal culture for many people. Nothing wrong with raising an animal for meat, as long as it's rasied humanely.

I used to have a guinea pig, but it came down with a really bad sneeze and I didn't have money for a vet. Since my grandma eats anything (she's from Europe), I gave it to her and she threw her in a pot of boiling water. I was only a kid, but after I got over being horrified of it squealing and thrashing about, I realized it was kinda funny. Wish I had pics.
