Hey /an/I have a sister, and this sister is a fairly ....irresponsible person. One year, she got some cockatiels to raise. The first one, however, gave my parents parrot fever, hospitalising one of them for several weeks. During this time, hardly anyone socialised with the baby bird( for obvious reasons). They eventually got a second one (???), which didn't give anyone parrot fever. However, due to the irresponsibility of my sister, hardly anyone takes the birds out and plays with them. They're hostile and neurotic, as they were mostly raised from a young age by...no-one, and I feel incredibly sorry for them. They are mean and nasty, and receive almost no love and treatment (except from my girlfriend, and occasionally my mother), my sister refusing to take them out because "they bite".Is there anything I can do to help make things easier for them? I can't let them go, because they wouldn't be able to survive in the wild, and I don't know if they can actually become nice again. I just don't want them to suffer needlessly because of the heartless actions of my sister.
sounds like a troll.... probably same guy with the abused cat thread
If this isn't a troll, offer to take birds, get leather gloves, clip wings, handle, etc.If this is a troll, who gives a fuck - that's some goddamn honey!!
it is delicious cock..atiel, you must eat it!
I really don't think this is a troll...My mom had a cockatiel and she didn't know how to care for it properly or tame so it was a vicious biter as well.Birds are not easy pets, I wish people would realize that. :\Don't have any advice for you OP.
