You need to get you and your neighbors to buy bug sprays made for the size of roach which you are infested with. Also buy the gel on my post photo and apply it in corners where roaches nest (the box will give you some good spots).

You can temporarly clear them out if you use this on your own apartment, but they may come back in the future if your neighbors don't do something to stop them.

you can always catch some tarantulas in the wild and release them in your house.

Thanks. I appreciate it. We actually just bought the gel stuff recently but haven't used it yet. These are little apartments. One neighbor, not to be stereotypical etc, is a gay guy who's apartment is impeccable according to my gf. Spotless. The other apartment on the other side is presently empty. That can't be good.

There are lots of restaurants on our street, and a pizzeria under our building. I know it's a losing battle but I want to fight the good fight. Happy to hear about the gel bit, 'cus we just bought that. Thanks again.

Best idea ever for roach infestations.

Yeah I used to have a roach problem myself. It was only limited to the kitchen. They kept coming back no matter how many times I stomped on them so I got the roach killing gel and applied it along the crevices of windows, under the fridge, on the floor crevice of cabinets, and inside cabinets too. Within weeks all I would ever find of them is dead or extremely weak roaches.

Boric acid kill roaches, and it's much less toxic than other stuff. You get can a big bags of it cheap. If you don't have young kids or pets, then just sprinkle a thin layer over your entire floor to ensure success.

Supposedly baking soda (+sugar?) should help kill them off, too. We used to have roaches really bad because of the previous owners of the house but the roaches mostly (as in I went from seeing at least 1 a day when we moved in to maybe 3 all of last year) died off without chemical warfare after two years...

First of all, do a thorough clean-out of the house (with vacuum cleaner and a bottle of methylated spirits) and make sure there is nothing wrong with your plumbing - no drips or leaks. Replace rubber washers on taps if you must. Cockroaches are MORE attracted to moisture than anything else.

Roaches can and will eat ANYTHING, so even if you consider your apartment clean, the roaches can love it. Examples are stacks of damp newspapers, crumbs fallen out in the pantry, contents of your kitchen rubbish bin and the kitchen drains, slimy mold growing on pipes and bathroom walls.

Now, get some boric acid and sprinkle that stuff in places where roaches are likely to be. Common places are behind kickboards of kitchen cabinets, behind bathroom cabinets, in cracks in the walls and holes. Easiest way to stuff it in cracks and holes is to get or make a funnel out of cardboard and tipping the powder in.

Then get some roach gel and seal all the outside entrances where roaches can come in. Balconies, window frames, under the door and around the doorframe.

Now that you're done with it, vacuum the house regularly to clear out the roach carcasses. Remember to do this again after about 3 months.

Burn the house down.

BURN THEM ALL.

Get that gun and blast them cockroaches back to hell. Failing that bombarded your apartment with 100000 rads, or 1000 grays of radiation.

We must kill them. We must incinerate them. Pig after pig. Cow after cow. Roach after roach.

1. Cut a plastic drink bottle in half. Make sure the walls are high enough.
2. Fill with a couple inches of beer.
3. Place it in a way that roaches can get in easily but not out.
4. Empty when it gets too full.
