It's in the jar, anyone can identify?
>> Anonymous
Tried feeding it a roach, doesn't want to eat
Still don't know what kind of spider it is
Situation critical, bomb has been planted, aids in the pool

closest thing i can get for you is that it is a wolf spider, so it is an active hunter, and as far as species this is all ive got Dysdera crocata

can spin a web but prefers not to, dunno what it eats, but thats as close as i can get hope its right, dunno what to say, it lives in closed in spaces like caves empty logs and garages, try giving it a larva kinda thing..like a meally worm <.<

In after wolf spider.

I'm putting my beans in woodlouse hunter, or something similar. They're getting pretty common on the east coast.

Just put it outside. You won the spider lottery. For once it's an outside spider that wandered inside instead of an inside spider that wandered up from the basement.

That actually looks more like an inside spider to me. I'm in Louisiana, though. We have house spiders (Kukulcania hibernalis) that look almost identical to that. I don't know how far north they range, though. How big is it?

I almost want to call it a Brown Recluse, but without a clear shot of its backside (NOT the abdomen; its back) that has a darker brown decor of a fiddle/violin.

Woodlouse Hunter, I'd say.

OP, we need a clearer picture of the spider to ID it.
