one of my cats has had little, fingernail sized scabs on the back of her neck for a while now. I have no idea what these are, but they didn't seem to be bothering her so I forgot about it. lately I noticed the other cat has one on the back of his neck too. what the hell are these?
If she wears a collar, it may be that, just take it off her until they go, if not, its still prolly nothing to worry about
>>343276nah, neither cats have collars. very weird.thanks for the reply!
Might help if you can get some pictures of it.

It might be as simple as fleas. I've had cats that scratch from fleas until they got a scab there and then the scab itself keeps itching so even if the fleas are killed they keep going at it.

Do they play-fight a lot with one another? I know my kitties always got scabs on their neck area due to play fighting.
>>343781Yeah, mine used to have that a lot too. They don't play as much now, so they're gone.
