How many days of pregnancy left in rats once the teets are visible?
I'm not exactly sure because I didn't note the date when they got it on.
Pic's related, it's the mommah.

my guess is she'll give birth soon
cause they groom the hair away from the nipples
in preparation for nursing
the duration period for rat pregnancy is approximately 3 weeks, so if you suspect she did the dirty sometime in the beginning of the month, then she should be giving birth within the next week.

Aww. She's so cute.

But will probably devour her children.

>But will probably devour her children.

The infanticide rate is only 3% in wild rats. Probably a lot lower in domestic rats, which are more docile.

You can mostly handle baby rats from 1 day old without their mother bothering too much about it (ie without her eating them). Best to handle them as early as possible.

That's a myth, handling babies does not make the mother kill them. Mothers kill because of stress, lack of nourishment, and other factors listed in the article here>>299792.

I never said that she would eat them, I meant, you can handle them at that age without fear of the mum eating them.
