>> cichlid !!WhOQyKVA829

A draft horse is fine too
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft_horse
It's a broader term for "big hugeass horses". While clydesdale is the name of a breed.

JESUS JONES!!! OP's horse looks like some king of super horse ment to be ridden by gods of old!
>> Anonymous
Damn, you could have like three people ride one of these.
>> anonymous
Only>>343815is a Clydesdale, and possibly>>343811, although it looks like it could be a Shire.
These individuals pictured here are from different breeds of Heavy Horses, such as Ardennais, Percherons, Brabants, etc.
They have been bred to be used as Draught Horses.

I WANT A GIANT HORSE

In Texas, we call these horses. The rest need names as to distinguish size so we know how much smaller they are.
>> Anonymous
>>344271

Most horses I've met have had fairly nice personalities, mind you, draft horses generally have very laid-back attitudes. It's usually the twinky horses that are more prone to having schitzy or prick-ish personalities.

Draft horses have awesome personalities. They're very good-natured.

Prove they're not fake. I know there are some big horses out there, but I've never seen horses THIS big. Plus, all three of those pics look fake.

As for personalities, I think horses are a lot like dogs. The smaller ones are annoying little shits, but the giant breeds are really chill and sweet.

I remember when I was a loli I saw a clydesdale for the first time at Universal Studios and I SHAT FUCKING BRIX. There exists a picture of me next to one of the horses when I was eight making a :O face.

Of course. Didn't you know I was the authority of things currently in existence? It all goes through me.

Draft horses were bred that big not just for show and to pull heavy wagons and stuff, but also as chargers for knights. All that armor, plus shields, weapons, etc. weighed a shitload.

The knights only rode their chargers in battles and tournaments and so on; the rest of the time they rode regular horses.

>>344450

That's not precisely true. Draft horses were developed from breeds/horse types that were used as destriers, but strictly speaking a destrier and a draft horse are two different things. It's much the same as saying Thoroughbreds are actually Arabians. They descended from Arabs but they're not quite the same.

Horses are pretty cool.

I saw a show on Discovery years ago that explained how horses came from the some rodent-like creature humans evolved from.
>> Anonymous
>>344484
Yeah. keep in mind, all mammals are descended from a common ancestor. (and so are all living things for that matter)

You may not be too far off the mark here. Most draft breeds were bred to be "war horses", stout and muscular to carry the weight of an armored knight. The horses were often armored too, making them four-legged tanks.
