Do you really trust yourself to have your VERY FIRST EXPERIENCE with a new pet be in breeding it? How arrogant. Buy yourself a pair of same-sex rats (pref. male) and acquaint yourself with them first. Get to know how they work, learn about their behaviors, get close to them, THEN decide if you'd be ready to handle more than that. Rats do require a nice amount of care and play with their owners, personally, and while they are small pets, they are STILL pets. Which means they need love and attention from you, the owner. I don't know why you seem driven to own so many rats. It would matter more if you just had two BFF rats who were exceptionally attached to you, instead of 30 who barely know you and probably, you being an inexperienced rat owner, won't be socialized properly as individuals.
