FUUUUUCKKKKKKK

hard to tell without knowing where you are, approx how big the things are, and without being able to see the back of the second one. they both look like orb weavers tho, which means theyre quite common and nothing to worry about. the second one might be a redback tho, in which case you should FLEE!

I'm in australia

the second one isn't a redback, I've had enough experience with them to know that

HOLY SHIT THAT'S THE SIAMESE DEATH WEAVER

Pfft red backs are skinny with a black back bit with a red strip on it, the rest is pitch black

That's not a red back.

Believe me

not completely sure..but they look like some species of Nephila http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nephila
http://www.xs4all.nl/~ednieuw/australian/nephila/Nephila.html
http://home.gwu.edu/~kuntner/australia.htm

just a guess.

that first spider is making me feel sick

OP are you an ausfag? Cos that would confirm the second is a red back Need more pics of the second too.

did some more digging and theyre both golden orb weavers (nephila edulis) despite the first one looking silver. theyre quite common and will bite if you piss them off but arent venomous. they both look like females judging by the size and leg markings.

I think you're right about the first one
this pic from one of those sites is identical to it

>>209357
yes I am; it's not a redback
>> Anonymous
>>209360
the second one has a single, much smaller spider messing around on its web too, which I'm guessing is the male

not always, here are some assorted redbacks
>> Anonymous
>>209363
yea thats either the male or lunch. i missed the yellow/orange hue of the web the first time i saw the second pic but thats your guarantee that its a golden orb weaver.

you know that little tickle you feel on the back of your neck right now?

guess what that is

Fuckin A.. It's official, there are aliens and millions of years ago they dropped a nuke on Australia. How else could there be so many Fucking huge ass maw your face off spiders, killer snails and the platypus all in the same damn (large) island?!

Oh and..

BURN IT WITH FIRE!

>>209361
could you take a dorsal (backside) pic of the second spider?

>>209360
i think you're wrong about them being venomous, but they still aren't dangerous to humans. you are correct about them being female however.

>>209363
it's either very tiny, or i'm very blind. i don't see the male..
>> Anonymous
I only see one spider.
>> Anonymous
The second one looks like a headcrab lol.
>> By-Tor
Some type of Nephila, that's for sure. they yellow and black banding gives that away. also the white carapace.
