Dear /an/,

This morning I saw the neigbours cat attacking a young pigeon in my garden. I chased the cat away and took the terrified and wounded pigeon into my home to keep it safe.
It now hides behind everything it can find and is still in shock.
What should I do to help this poor animal (pic related)?

Let nature go its way, give it back to the cat.

Give it to the cat. With luck, the cat will later place the remains of it on your front porch as a gift for you. All shall be well.

Nah, this is the 4th pigeon taken down by that kitten. He always makes a terrible mess of the etrails but doesnt eat anything, he just leaves it for someone to clean up.
I fucking hate that cat, he will not get this pigeon.

Don't insult the fucking rat. Rats are way smarter, friendlier, and carry less diseases.

the bird is already dead it's just too stupid to know it. Remarkably it found someone even dumber than it to come rescue it. Enjoy your avian flu.

Areas with a lot of pigeons are often plagued with shit everywhere, thats probably why there are a lot of bitter people.

Aren't there like erh.. pidgeon farmers (dunno the real translation) or something in your neighbourhood?

Catch the cat next time and send the vet bill to your neighbours (as a ransom) claiming their cat attacked your pet bird in your yard.
Monnies for you and one punished cat :3
