Sup /an/

I found this in my house
I live in northwestern united states
any clue of what it is?
>> Maybelle !Xe0eUYi8yM
Sorry, no clue what it is, but I would really like to know too! I found one nearly identical, black and a bit smaller, last summer in the basement where I work. I searched the 'net over and could not identify it.

I live in central Ontario.

My first guess was a Brown Recluse,
but those arnt really found up here that often,
and they have a violin shape on their heads,
and this one doesnt really have one (though if you look at it right it kinda has one)

Its fast as hell, i stuck it in a container for the time being, it shakes the box when it jumps around, creepy as shit.

glad to know some one else doesnt know what it is
>> Mr. Macky
I do not think it is a Brown Recluse. If I remember correctly, they have hairless legs.
I could be wrong though.

Perhaps its a Wolf Spider?

We found dozens of these almost the same size when we where first moving in..(this is the biggest one so far)
mostly in the garage and woodpiles out back
>> Anonymous
I was going to say huntsman spider but it looks too small to be that.
>> Anonymous
Brown Recluse.

Let it outside away from your house...

I caught it a few days ago, and it was just chilling in the sealed container with a weight on it.
and now its fucking gone....

Definitely not a brown recluse. They are much smaller than that.
>> Anonymous
Definitely not a Brown Recluse. I live in the Southeast and we get a heck of a ton of those things. Friggin' scary!

same as this one I caught. I live in england.
>> Anonymous
I'm in england too, it's the most common type of house spider I see, up north anyway.
>> Anonymous
(cont) but normally they are fast as hell, there's no way I could get one to pose next to a key.
>> Anonymous
You dumb shits. That's a hobo spider. Treat it with respect because its bite can cause lesions.
>> Anonymous
correct that is the hobospider

you can tell by the markings on it's back.

they look like tire tracks.

and the general size.

they're all over.
>> Anonymous
definitely a hobo, google it. We got em all over where I live
>> Anonymous
You wouldn't believe how often I see those wolf spiders where I live (Chicago).

Also they aren't poisonous, but their bites hurt like hell.

Literally all spiders everywhere are poisonous you dumbshits, it's how they kill their prey. The only thing is how potent it is and for what prey it's designed.

stfu faggot, ever heard of camel spiders?
Not all arachnids are poisonous, but most of them, so don't insult somebody who spoke the truth.
>> Masterwork Bastard !wl59mComes

Camel spider is not a spider.
>> Anonymous
>>241942

All TRUE spiders are venomous, as in, they inject their victims with venom to paralyze, kill and / or begin their digestion.

Camel spiders are not true spiders.

Spiders of the genug Uloborus have no poison glands.

I like how there's all these experts claiming that's a hobo spider when the only way to tell them from about a dozen other species is by looking at their genitals. It could be one of any number of similar looking hunting spiders or wolf spiders, but it's definitely NOT a recluse.

>>241942
solfugids aren't spiders retard.
>> PornInvolvingDrugs
>>241681

Also the brown recluse is much smaller, it would nearly fit on the handle part of the key, leg to leg. They're so small they have 6 eyes instead of 8.

its a key....

Confirmed: hobo spider. I live in the Pac NW, too and coming from Texas my first fear was that they were brown recluse spiders. Having spent a lot of time around wolf spiders I knew it wasn't the same.

And yeah, their bites suck. A little hot and itchy like a mosquito bite but painful like a boil. :\
