That's the reason I probably will never have one. Sure, they're wonderful for company and are truly loyal but I've known several and they all just seemed so happy when they got to be loose in the woods, finding prey for master, etc. Like they were fulfilling their place in the world and it satisfied them immensely. Aw, crap, I'm getting all misty-eyed, remembering those old-timer dogs now gone. :D Good memories.
