Cat Leash Anonymous
Anyone here ever use a cat leash? Nothing better than the weird looks you get from your neighbors as you take your cat for a walk

Actually, yeah! I have two cats, one who walks on a leash fine and the other who prefers to be carried. Sometimes I bring them into PetSmart. =3

does bunny like it?

When we moved, we put my cat on a leash and let her walk around the yard so she could get used to it. She hated it, and we got tired of her pulling us in whatever direction she wanted to go in...like under a bush or some crap.

So we took the leash off her and let her roam. She knew where he food bowl was, so she wasn't likely to run off.

Definitely leash train your cat when it's young, you may need to leash them

We had a harness for our cat Kaboodle. Very important to have when we moved from Alaska to Nevada, he was well trained to stay on the leash outdoors, and to walk around for a break when we took the long car trips.

I tried to leash train my cat when she was about 6 months old, but she hated it. I even tried using chicken baby food and cat treats to no avail. Oh well, she's pretty happy as an indoor cat anyway.

I used a leash for awhile to get my indoor cat adjusted to being outside. We also had our other cat guard her while she adjusted.

But she never liked going out for walks. It was MY job to do HER bidding, ya know?

I once had bunny with a leash. I wouldn't say they like it, but they don't get pissed off and fight like cats do.

As long as chopped apples were offered, he was happy.

And we cat people who work there love you for it. I love the dogs, but the kitties make my day.

Also, no. It's PetSmart. Ever listen to the commercials? In the store or on tv, either way. I have to listen to those fucking commercial ads every time a good song comes on over the "PetSmart radio" channel playing in the store. I swear to god they plan it like that. Get you going with a good song, finally, then interrupt it with the annoying bitch's voice.

Every single one of those commercials, voiced by the man or the woman, ends with "That's -smart-. PetSmart!"
UGH.

I hate how corporate chains have to brand their "image" into your mind like that.

Petsmart doesn't even need to advertise. I went in Pet Co a couple months back and was pretty shocked at the disparity in pricing.

I didn't see anything there that didn't cost 1.5+x more than what it costs at Petsmart.

I pay .30 a can for my cat food at PS. Shit was like .70 a can at PC. I promptly walked out in confusion at how PC can still be in business and why there were people shopping there.
