whats this bird? Anonymous
2-3 of these birds have been attacking a stray cat that freqently visits our yard, we think because it stole the babies fron thier nest.

they sorta have a crow "caw" but are much smaller and brown, and have long tails.
they constantly bob thier tails and display thier wings in a very funny way.

been wondering what type of bird it is for a while. im in Los angeles if that helps, but locations probably less useful for finding birds :p

its aids taken the form of a bird. I suggest doing a barrel roll followed by sticking it in her pooper.
it kinda looks like a pidgeon with a shadow on it.

It sort of looks like a Jay of some sort...

Going to venture a guess and say it's a Mockingbird.

Wow you guys are idiots. That is obviously a pterodactyl, get an assault shotgun, assemble it, and mutter, "Clever girl..."

It's a mockingbird, without a sliver of doubt in my mind. Does it have broad white stripes on the underside of its wings? Yeah, that'd be a mockingbird.

The only other birds I can recognize are starlings and grackles (left and right in the picture I posted here), though.

Lol, it`s a nigger bird.

That would be a mockingbird. They attack anything that gets near when they have a nest, or when they are bored. Really common birds here.

Mockingbird. State (and terribly common) bird here in Texas. Poster above is right, they'll attack anything if they have a nest. So I'd stay away from where they're attacking that cat at because the little bastards will hit you too.
