I just found this outside of my house and brought him inside as he seemed hurt. He took a nap and now he seems fine and i was thinking of keeping him as a pet but he won't eat anything, can you help /an/?

Looks more like a starling... Seems big for a sparrow... Seems bigger than an adult sparrow, and his beak is the wrong type.

I've worked as a bird breeder for 40 years. The only way you can help this bird and ensure his survival is to throw up in his mouth. If you do this he will accept you as his mother and allow you to feed him. Do it now.

If you're in North America and can confirm its a house sparrow or starling, you should not release it, it is an invasive species.
