Hey Spart/an/s. In b4 shitstorm.
My cat is declawed. She was already declawed when I adopted her and would never have had this done to any cat.
I am considering getting a second cat to keep her company so she doesn't go insane and stuff. Would it be recommended that I adopt a cat who is already declawed as well regardless of their disposition towards other felines?

No it doesn't matter. Declawed cats can still interact just fine with normal cats. I have a declawed cat and whenever one of the other 2 normal cats is doing something she doesn't like, a swift smack to the face does the trick and the normal cats learn to leave her alone.

As long as the two cats get along, it's fine to have one clawed and one declawed. I also adopted a cat already declawed, and then later adopted one who has claws. If they fight seriously, the declawed one will be at a real disadvantage, but this usually isn't a problem if you use your head when picking out a cat.
Just for the sake of your declawed cat, if you're really worried, adopt a cat who is of the same gender and younger than your current one. That way it's automatically lower of the pecking order and is unlikely to start shit.
