That's not a cat... is it?
Technically it is a cat, but technically, so is a lion.
why the hell s t n your house? hope it's domesticated. also, i think it's 'fishercat' but i'm usually wrong.
There's a whole series of pictures of this cat doing things around the house, like sitting on the table by a woman that kinda looks like Prokofy Neva, fishing for a catfish in a bathtub, and several of it sitting on a tuxedo cat.
>>60801Thats a fishing-cat. A "fishercat" is related to weasels.
>>60819This one?
lol, the woman looks like a typical nutcase cat lady and it seems they're so poor they use SONY cardboard boxes for nightstands...yet own some weird fucking wild animal. god i'll never understand poor people.
>>61136I dunno, I'd opt for a box-as-nighstand if I had a wild animal, so it wouldn't chew up expensive furniture. This would especially make sense if they were wild animal rehabilitators or something.
This looks more like an Iriomote Cat from Shima, Japan. It has the white spots on the back of the ears, and whites around the eyes. Also has rounded ears and the back claws do not fully retract which can be seen in the foto.

Mayaa!
how would one go about acquiring one of these cats?
It's definitely NOT an iriomite cat. They look completely different.
Iriomote cat says nya.
You probably need a permit to keep one. Check with your local Wildlife and Fisheries department.
Somebody post moar fishing cat

Where's the one of it fishing in the bath tub?
>>61254I'm pretty sure this one belongs to a Russian couple who adopted him from the Moscow Zoo. Google it. Apparently though it gets along fine with their other cat. Though they do fight, the fishing cat is generally very gentle around his "mom".

>>61314yeah i was going to say that fucker in the bathtub looked like a typical russian/slav
>>61318I was gonna say that it looked like a catfish, myself.
There are fishing cat - domestic cat hybrids called bagrals or viverrals that are kept as pets. They seem to be more rare than other hybrid cats though. You'll be lucky if you find even a photo.
Apparently, the Fishing cat is threatened, so I guess they will be very hard to get as pets. Too bad. :(
Not an Iriomnote...Sure looks like it as I've only seen pictures of the cat. But that there is an asian wildcat.Fishing cat(Prionailurus viverrinus)(Felis bengalensis iriomotensis)YAMAMAYAA!
This cat rules. Anonymous wants!
>>61135Anyone else look at this pic and immediately think "yiff in hell" or is this just my own personal problem?
>>61498I guess you don't keep any cats or dogs?
>>61498Cat owners usually have 2 choices: Let the cat sleep on his bed, or listen to it scratch at the bedroom door and yowl all night long.If you have to get up early for work or school, pick the first one.
My cat would roam the streets at night.
>>61320lol, why the fuck does it keep sitting on top of the housecat??and is it more of a cat or a badger like animal?
>>61498You've been way over-exposed to furries if that makes you think of them. So yes, a personal problem.>>61533Fishing cats hybridize with housecats. That makes them both not only felines but damn close relatives too. For reference, badgers probably don't crossbreed even with any other mustelids.
>>61533I don't know why Fishing Cat sits on Tuxedo Cat. I haven't seen regular cats sit on each other like that, but I have seen them sit on a person.
>>61781It probably does it because it CAN.
I'd like to think that Fishing Cat posted the first "Disregard, that, I sat on it" meme.
