This is Sheba. She's eighteen years old, and was recently introduced into my house. We had her in my room for a while to get the other kitties (much younger) used to the idea. We let her chill in the entire house now, and let's just say - she dominated. My rodent killer kitty and my face eating kitty are frightened over her. She's ruling like the Queen she was supposedly named after. While she seems really fine, and it's not quite so obvious because of her fluff, she feels VERY skinny. Like she has lost weight. I don't see her eating, and food is readily available to all cats downstairs, but I also don't see her wanting to eat or going to her old food bowl when she hangs in my room.Should I be worried? Is the skin-and-bones thing her age, or could there be something wrong?Again, I don't see her eating - she could very well be, but I have noticed her being a lot lighter/bonier.

Yea, its just her age. Don't be surprised if she starts drinking more as well, cats tend to get kidney problems as they get older. It's all nothing to worry about though, you would notice if she wasn't happy and well :)
Every cat I've ever owned has gotten kind of scrawny and bony as they get older. A friend of mine refers to it as "old cat syndrome".
