Dear /an/,

I know it's not a good idea to adopt a pet based on looks alone, but damn I want this cat. This has got to be the prettiest cat ever!

this faggot also thinks that pitbulls, border collies and huskies are just dogs. they need no special requirement or training.

The discrepancies between cat breeds is far more subtle then they are between dog breeds. Certain breeds have certain tendencies, but the differences between a Siamese and a Persian seem somewhat insignificant when compared to the differences between a Yorkshire Terrier and Great Pyrenees. Obviously, Siamese tend to be more vocal and active then your average Persian, but behaviorally and nutritionally they are more alike then different.

If you just want a moggie, though, you can pretty much narrow it down to a certain build or coat color, then find a cat who's personality suits you. In cats, individual personality usually trumps breed or appearance.

I don't think border collies and huskies belong grouped with pitbulls.

Border Collies don't belong with Huskies either, he simply pointing out that different breeds, at least in dogs, has different requirements.

would be kind of cool to see a dog sled pulled by border collies though

Why not? all 3 breeds are different and all need different types of attention to detail in different areas. Collies are high energy, Huskies like to escape, and Pits (like all terriers) are prone to animal aggression.

Its nearly impossible to guess a cat's eventual temperament from a few minutes observing it in the pound or pet store. You may as well base your choice on looks.

Thats neither King Cat, Tulip, Bike Cat or Snailkitten. Fail Cat IS FAIL.

there's always room for more /an/ adopted cats, but they need more than just 2 pictures to win our hearts. Regular presence is key!
