Spider ID Anonymous
My feet have been getting bit by something every night over the past week. I cleared out the area near my bed and found nothing. The window near my bed has an opening between the panes which I realized yesterday so I set up a trap of tape to see if I could snag anything attempting to enter. I found this spider in the morning and was hoping one of you could help me identify the species and tell me if it is capable of biting me.

I should also add that it's only about 2 to 3 tenths of an inch in length

Every spider is a brown recluse here.
Well, except the jumping spiders.

It's not going to bite you. Spiders aren't raving lunatics running around and biting everything that moves.

Something has been biting me though. And as of yet, this is the only thing I've found lurking around.

spiders don't bite people in their sleep

I highly doubt these bites are from spiders that sneak in at night.. I'd sooner believe you had fleas. :P

As for the spider...looks like a Scytode sp. aka spitting spider.
