Is the bot fly laying in your skin fatal?
>> Anonymous
>>202965
no, you just have a big maggot crawling around under your skin until:
A) you dig/bait it out
B) it metamorphasizes, crawls out, and flies away

Don't forget that the maggot is actually EATING YOUR FLESH so yeah it would hurt and is better to get it out as soon as possible. I saw a show that had people who had huuuge ones in their arms.

You know what's neat about Japanese hornets? Japanese honey bees have developed a novel defense against them. They swarm the hornet, forming a big ball of bees around them, then they all vibrate so much that it cooks the hornet to death. A few die, but it keeps the hornets from calling its buddies to raid the hive and kills them in a really horrific way.
