Sup /an/.I don't usually come here, so forgive me if this is a repeat topic, but have you guys seen this show? It's basically about a giant compound for stray dogs and whatnot, and the people who work there. Those people fucking love dogs, they go and search the most disgusting locales you can imagine looking for stray animals, and if they find one they consider the day a huge success. They fix up the ones with problems and try to find them homes. They had this Chow on there the other night named Bruno that was all fucked up, he walked to the left and drooled a lot, brain damage. At the end of the show he apparently got bloat, so they put him down and had this elaborate funeral for him.The guy said the most beautiful thing, he said something like "these chimes always ring on the day of a funeral, and that's because Bruno is running around on a rainbow bridge and the air he's kicking up is to let these chimes ring and let us know that everything is better now."I cried manly tears. :(tl;dr: This show is fucking awesome but sad at the same time.
It's too sad, I can't bear to watch shows like that.I can watch humans getting decapitated, no problem. But when I see a dog with a serious injury I have to change the channel.
I saw it, it was on last night.. :(I cried manly tears too
