How does a blind cat behave?
Does it bump into stuff?

I am also curious to this matter.

According to messybeast.com, a blind kitty relies in a combination of scent, hearing, and memory to navigate around a house and will therefore not bump into stuff. My experience confirms this, as my kitty was blind for two years (according to his vet), but I had no idea whatsoever. He could even play with random objects without a problem.

He used to when he first started losing his sight but now since he knows where everything is in the house he does fine. But he still walks slow because sometimes hell be a little off center

my sister has a blind cat...i think it could see a little bit when it was a kitten, but its eyes were always super dilated and by the time it was 1, it was totally obvious that it couldn't see.

but it pretty much behaves just like any other cat. it plays with these toys and is able to find them no matter where they end up...she does bump into things when being chased by my cat, though. the funny/weird thing about her is that she always wants to sit in the bathroom sink

i think cats just sit in round things cause my cat sits in my egg-chair ALL the time.
