What sort of snake is this, /an/ ? I found him crawling around in my drive way and took a few pictures before moving him safely away from the potential death trap. =(

I wouldn't be surprised. I've seen Eastern Worm Snakes as far north as Niagra Falls.

In NC too, I caught one, it was on our roof somehow.. looked like a bird had pecked it and dropped it up there...
he was pretty lax once I had it in my hands.

the small brown snubbed nose thing, is a "earth snake", "worm snake", "earthworm snake".
