What kind of spider is this? Is it dangerous? Should I be afraid? They get into my house every so often :[.

Southern California, Spider is orangeish/brownish in color, bigger than a quarter in diameter with legs spread.

brown recluses don't live in Cali. they're mostly found in Florida and more humid states

They are not native, but every now and then they show up in furniture and shit shipped from the south. Its unlikely, but not unheard of.
