They killed the gator afterwards. Why'd they have to kill it? They should've let the dumbass on crack get eaten!

I agree, that's very annoying.

When predators get a taste for humans, they probably start associating us as potential food. I think thats the logic around killing animals that have attacked people i guess

IMO any animal that manages to catch a human deserves to keep it as a prize, especially if that human was doing something retarded in order to get caught.

No one wants a crack dependent alligator, or a crack dependent anything for that matter.

It has to do with the laws concerning nuiscance 'gators.

Any alligator over four feet in length that gives people trouble has to be killed. Under four feet in length, they're still young enough to be relocated. Any larger, and anywhere you take them, they're just gonna' try to go back to where you got 'em from. And they WILL eventually make it.

There are two things that I find regrettable about this story:

- They rescued the idiot.
- They killed the gator.

Hey, maybe they should use alligators against crack addicts. You know, find crack houses, open the door, let in 20 or so alligators, close and lock the door, wait until the screaming stops, take the animals back to their river.
