Beta Fish Anonymous
i have one female beta fish that lives with one zebra danios and i want to add more fish to my aquarium. do you know of any fish taht can live with betas other than zebra danios?

cories, neon tetras, harlequin rasboras, otocinclus, rummynose tetras, cardinal tetras-- pretty much anything small, not frilly-finned and not nippy

Really, female betas aren't nearly as aggressive as the male counterparts. They usually do quite well in a tropical community tank.

every inch of fish needs its own gallon of water. 5 1-inch fishes = 5 gal. 3 3-inch fishes= 9gal, etc. stay away from long fins

Do you mean square inches of surface area along one side of the fish, or do you mean a head-to-tail length measurement? Bit of a difference with regard to angelfish, tetras, etc.

Also, name your new fish biscuit.
