I'm getting a box turtle.
What should I keep him in.
I've read that tupperware things are good.
I dont know.
Anyone have any advice.

They can get pretty big. LOL a good sized Fish tank should do good just dont fill the thing with water. Give him like stuff to climb on. Even an Extra bath tub should do fine. :-p

put him in a different container to feed ( not in tank ) they are messy eaters....also feed them pellets and wax worms and other grubs

and get bottem feeders like shrimp to help keep the tank clean, also they love fish. you need a goood round eco system. floating plants will get eaten too.

i put mine in a cage outside..it was made out of chicken wire so it couldn't get out of it..make sure it has food and water everyday..they like tomatoes

Don't get a box turtle.

Go for one of the less-difficult species of chelodians. Herpetology student recomends: Russian Tortises.

They're about the same size of Box Turtles, but they're nowhere near as difficult to take care of.
