The whole conversation is retarded. Animals (Humans are animal, keep in mind) do have the same emotions than humans do, they just handle them differently. Dogs are embarrassed when they are caught doing they know they weren't supposed to be doing (so they understand that some actions lead to certain emotions in humans and react to it) Cats (atleast mine) has learned to manipulate people to act as he wants (to let him out, to give him treats, to pet him etc) by acting in a certain manner (= purring, being friendly, getting anrgy and starting to meow loudly if people don't react the way he wants)
Yes, other animals beside humans feel the way we do, the feelings just aren't as unnnecessarily complex like ours and they don't handle them the same way humans do.
