I need a list of foods I can use as treats for my cat.

I never bothered training my cat, so I'm not sure. There are dried fish treats in pet stores, although I doubt their safety or effectiveness. Try giving him a tiny bit of a fancy brand or type of cat food that he likes, and that you don't normally give him. This makes that cat food more special.
My cat loves shrimp and tuna or crab meat and tuna - try that.

I work at a pet store, we sell cat treats. Theyre basically the same thing as dry food, but with a stronger scent.

Treats dont work all that well with cats - they have only 15% the capacity for taste of humans.

My cat likes ham and begs incessantly for it. She used to try to get in the refrigerator looking for it.

My cats love turkey lunch meat.

My cat likes apples. Whenever I eat one, I give him a small chunk to munch on so he'll leave me alone.

Not many cats like apples, but its worth a shot. Just make sure they don't eat the seeds.

My cat loves nori (the standalone snack kind, not the sushi wrap kind). Fucker won't leave me alone.

My cat seems to like coconut milk, but I never gave her more than a tiny bit because I have no idea if it's good for cats. Although it should be, it has very little carbohydrates, and some brands(such as the one I use) have no or practically no sugars.

Cats are carnivores. They are only supposed to eat meat. Giving apples to cats it like giving chicken to a chicken.

What about cat grass? Carnivores don't neccessarily have to eat just meat. In fact, lots of cat food is mostly grains.

My cat loves cheese, sprinkles, and Temptations Treats.

Chickens dont know what chicken meat is nor cannibalism, they'll eat it.

Maybe they'll think it tastes like worms and eat it, but I wouldn't be so sure about that.

(Sweet) tea.

Apple juice.

Bottled water.

My cat will hunt me down if I have any of those. But, that doesn't really work as treats, so much as an occasional delicacy.

Shrimp, crab meat, the meat that the legs are connected to, fish, chicken, chicken livers, chicked gizzards, the stuff that comes bagged inside the turkey (gizzards, heart, etc) the turkey neck (boiled; is a good treat for anything that will take a nibble of it. Generally for dogs, but it you want to tear some of the meat off I'm sure a cat would love it), tuna, naturally, and I've found that the sardines or anchovies in a can are absolutely adored by them.

I spoil my pets too much, I know.

terrible advice. Just because certain food is not deadly to you, doesn't mean you should let your cat have it.

At the very least, go check a few lists of foods dangerous to cats. Here's one: http://www.dietbites.com/Diet-123/dog-cat-foods-to-avoid.html

everything2 has an article about foods dangerous to dogs, but doesn't seem to have one for cats yet.

Since a few people have said chicken...

Just the meat. Don't EVER give your pet any sort of avian bone. Birds have very thin, hollow bones, so they can splinter easily and you can see where that could be a problem if they swallowed a piece, or got it stabbed into their paw or eye on accident.

I had a cat that loved to eat the crust from my PBJ sandwhiches. which was cool cuz I hated the crust as a kid.

If we didn't put our dishes away, our cats would lick clean the pasta sauce and the ice cream bowls :\ Our cats used to chase after us at the sound of a chip bag too. They rarely got any.

Our vet suggested giving our cat RAW ground beef, which she loved actually. Never made her sick either.

Treat your cat with raw beef. Some of our cats liked ground while others preferred cuts.

I had a cat that loved to eat melons, especially cantaloupe
