Update: She's a bitch. No kittens. She took a nap, then got up and started playing with random things (stole a pencil, a bottle cap, etc). I took a nap in here in the hopes that she'd settle down and birth some babies.
I think the "labour" was babies settling and getting ready to come out, but that she's been upset or scared and kinda.. crossing her legs. There are still little heartbeats (zomg cutest thing ever) and even slight pressure lets you feel the babies shifting around (zomg creepiest thing ever), so they're still alive and kicking.
I was really worried for awhile, then my mom explained to me what happened when the bobcats at the zoo had kittens: Two days of this kind of thing, followed by just a few minutes of actual contractions and birthing. So, since she's a slight hybrid, it's not out of the question that this is "normal". Still, if she starts bleeding, temp rises, or I can't hear heartbeats in her abdomen, she will be going to the vet. Sorry for false alarm, folks, but kittens will be here within a day or so.
>>112619 >>112613 Normally, I'd take that stance too. But, as others have pointed out, she WAS going to be spayed, and it was a houseguest that let her slip out. My other pets are all up to date on their shots, fixed, and are happy healthy creatures. And OP sucks because he's a faggot, not because he lets his cats outside.
>>112627 If there are any that resemble her, I will DEFINITELY use that name. Great suggestion! >>112672 My psudeo-Christian family nixed that name. I will however use it as a nicknam>>112683 e for one of them, much like I call snailkitten "stupidhead butt face" (which she responds to, bleh) >>112683 Technically, snailkitten is not an invasive species. As loth as I am to agree with trolls, cats are pretty destructive... but natural selection and all that rot.
<- Snailkitten being groomed by her "brother". I allowed him a short visit because he was crying and pissing everyone off.
