Found a bird Anonymous
So I found this bird sitting in my apt parking lot, and just walked up to it and it didn't fly away (let me pick it up) so I think it might be hurt. Wings and legs look good and seem to work fine - fluttered around my apt a little and clung to my finger. So does any one know what kind of bird it is or if it is an adult/juvenile? Looks kind of like a nuthatch to me.

Looks like he's a Black and White Warbler.

Wow what are the odds of finding a live warbler laying on the ground? Slim to none.

Beautiful bird.

OP here. Since he doesn't seem hurt I guess I'll let him rest a bit and then try and release him in the park by my apt.

birds have lots of bird diseases

As long as he doesn't eat their shit or inhale the bird he is more likely to get sick from wiping his ass.

They do got the mites though...
