dear /an/

Recently I discovered a dandelion in my yard. While as such it is not that extraordinary of an occurrence, this was slightly different, you see the dandelion is 6 feet tall. A google search revealed to me that the worlds tallest dandelion is barely over 4 feet tall. However my dandelion has 8 separate flowers on it, which makes me think it might not be an actual dandelion. Does anyone know how I can identify if this plant is in fact a dandelion before I go pester Guinness?

pic related, but not my weed

Thanks for the advice, any ideas on dandelions? or are you the residential hallucinogenics expert.

a pic would help, or maybe a detailed discription

sorry, I don't have a camera.

The stem is about a diameter in width, it has long wavy blades and it has many leaved yellow flowers. Honestly the only term I can describe the stem/leaves/flowers are "they look like dandelions" which is sorta my whole conundrum. I'm thinking that if the flowers turn into little puffballs, it will help my worlds largest dandelion case, but it could be days or weeks before that happens.

Are you sure it isn't a sunflower?

Without pictures this is only so much conjecture.

As cool as that sounds, I don't think Guinness is going to just take your word for it even if it is a dandelion.

That means, "take a picture."
