They really arent that bad. The first one I had we got from my brothers friend, my mom had made a comment about how she liked it so they just gave it to us. She was a little hyper at first but calmed down alot. Was very good about not shitting in the house. I just know she was inbred though, one of her pupils was very tiny, and the other HUGE. It's possible she was blind in one eye aswell. She died two years ago when she dislocated a disk in her back. :/
And, last month I recieved a little male, not quite a year old. Is pretty damn hyper but my two older dogs have helped calm him down quite a bit. He's pretty quick to bark like all dachshounds are. But all in all he's a pretty good dog.
I HATE tea-cup's though. I prefer the original doxxie, much larger and stronger and could still kick the shit out of a badger like it was bred to do. Just my opinion...
