HOUSE RABBIT NEEDS A GOOD HOME Juice
Hey guys, I live in Marietta, Georgia and I have a perfectly personable HOUSE RABBIT that I need a good home for.

His name is Charcoal, he's black with brown streaks (makes him look like he was rolling around in some dirt - very cute) and the bottom of his feet are white.

He's Litter box trained, harness trained, and loves hopping around the house and going for walks.
When I say litter box trained, I mean he urinates in the box 100% of the time and gets the majority of his droppings in there (rabbits can't control their droppings like they can their urine).

He, however, is not neutered.

I acquired him last semester from a pet shop in a mall where he was being abused by a group of teenagers, but I'm moving and my room mate has two HUGE dogs that kill everything in their path, so I'm terrified for his safety.

Please let me know if you are interested by replying here or IMing me at:

Aw. I'm fairly close (Clemson, SC), but I already have more animals than my small apartment can handle. Have you contacted the North Georgia House Rabbit Society? They're very nice folks, I adopted one of my buns from them last year. They might have room for your little fellow.

Adorable rabbit.. Id love to have a rabbit but I'm in the same boat. Very territorial dogs :(

Gah, I want this bunny, but I live all the way in NYC, so it'd be cruel mailing him to me.

Dammit. I want the bunny but i live down in Florida, near Tampa. ;o; Too far~

What's wrong with mailing an animal overnight? 1 night of discomfort is infinitely prefereable to being mauled by dogs or some soccer mom buying it to give to their shitty children.

If OP were to have to give it to a shelter (hopefully not) they will keep it in a kennel 24/7 and it will sit in its own waste for the majority of the day.

Awww...too damn cute! It'd probably be better to ask friends and see if one of them, or someone they know, could adopt it.

If they give it to a regular shelter, this is probably true. Lots of places just don't know what to do with a rabbit (and some owners, too). However, the House Rabbit Society is a rabbit-only no-kill shelter. They've got their shit together and all of their rabbits are very well taken care of.

To the OP: Ask around with your friends and classmates. I got my first bunny when a friend graduated college and couldn't take him with her.

I am in Knoxville TN and am very tempted, but I would not be able to devote the time and attention that a bunny deserves.

I echo the comments about the House Rabbit Society - they're good folk.

Kill the dogs.

Also recommending the House Rabbit Society. I adopted my bunnies from there, so I know they do a great job taking care of and finding new homes for bunnies.

I already asked around - Nothing :[

I went to their site and they were all like "due to so many rabbits, we're only able to take ones that are marked to be euthanized in shelters"
I'll contact them, though, regardless. Thanks :]

Give it steel teeth and claws, and a set of plate armor. It'll show those dogs who's boss.

lmao
He already tries to beat up/rape my cat XD
I suppose full battle gear WOULD be an option to defend him against the brutes.
