I'm reading Farley Mowat's "Never Cry Wolf" and im really enjoying it.

Has anyone else read his stuff?

I remember tuning in the TV and there was a guy on there pissing all over the place, it happened to be the movie version. Then I read the book and found out what it was all about. Yeah.

Yep read it a little while ago. there is a movie which is inspired from it also called "Never Cry Wolf" which was done in the early 1980. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086005/

The bit that has drawn some contravesy in regards to his book is that he understated how much cariboo/elk (whatever the deer things are up there) the wolves eat. He made it out as if the wolves eat more rodents than big herbivores.

But yeah its a good read. Theres a few good ecology books out there I'm making my way through which clarify a few things up.

Also look up "Shawn Ellis", and his documentry "A Man Among Wolves".
