That poor rat.
It's not a behavior problem that caused this, it's likely a genetic issue. There are quite a few rats that are "genetically obese", meaning that once they gain fat, they dont get rid of it. I'm not even sure those ARE testicles: look at the bottom of the foot, there is a large lump (FYI, I have male rats, and yes those do look like ratballs, but there is no visible penis sheath.. but it could be covered in fat/tumour)
Also, please, for the love of all that is sweet and good, euthanize that rat. It has fucking stretch marks. Stop feeding it crap and clean the fucking cage if you can't part with it.
