My cat is an outside cat, and as natural its a hunter and brings us home ''gifts''. At first it would just be a small rat or a bird, and then she stopped for a while. Shes 7 years old, and shes overweight, but she started to bring things home again, and she likes to aim high. Shes bringing home rabbits and adult Robbins and other things now. The rabbits aren't adults but there not baby's either. There like medium size and have full fur. Declawing isn't really an option as theres other cats around here and shes been in fights before and has been beaten up pretty badly so were afraid if shes declawed and she gets in a fight, shes gonna get severly hurt. Keeping her in isn't really a option either as shell annoy us till we do let her out or will quickly run out when we come in and out. As i said before it cant be that shes hungry cause she is overweight as said by the vet, and that she always has food most of the time. Is there a way to at least stop her from bringing in the rabbits?tl;dr my cats 7 years old fat keeps bringing home rabbits and adult birds and other things, declawing and keeping her in aren't options how do i stop her from doing this?pic semi related, as my cat is a calico, though it is not my cat
Put her down every time she brings something home.Example: You're a fat sack of shit, maybe if you spent less time eating birds you would get a boyfriend, you whore.Or, you could euthanize her.
i hope you're trolling, but i fear you are not. cats are hunters by nature and you cannot stop them. just accept the gifts and dispose of them when kitty isn't looking. and never ever declaw a cat, outdoor or indoor.
