Hey Anon need anti-shed pill for awsome corgi. google failed miserby awsome pic related
>> Anonymous
If Google failed why the fuck do you think 4chan has the answer? Dog shedding is natural anyways. Learn to use a broom you faggot.

corgi is the one true dog breed

all other = fail

we have a corgi and its the most fucking awesome dog i have ever been around...

but they do shed like crazy and it is impossible to keep hair off clothes
>> Anonymous
Just get a shedding wire and use it on the dog daily. That will keep most of the shedding at bay.

Mine tends to shed tufts of undercoat, and I've dealt with it so long I can actually recognize the telltale sign and pull them out before they fall off on their own.

PROTIP: There is no "anti-shed" pill. Hence why Google was ineffective.

Brush your dog, retard.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha. *ahem*

Corgis are double coated, and will shed like a mofo most of the time, and shed out whole other dogs' worth of hair twice a year when they blow coat. Putting your dog on a premium dog food and supplementing with cod liver oil and/or brewers yeast will help control unnecessary shedding between blow outs, but your dog will NOT stop shedding. Is that your pup in the pic? If you're complaining about shedding now, then you're probably going to seriously contemplate giving up the dog when it gets to adulthood, I promise you.

Fail for people who don't do their homework before getting a purebred.

Oh, and also, brush your dog. Take it to the groomer's twice a year when the shedding is the worst. And brush some more. Ask your groomer how to card the dog's coat, this will help. Perhaps you should invest in a Furminator, it's the same as carding and you won't buy a #40 blade that you don't need.

thanks Anon hes a year old now and i do my best to sweep his sheddings but i have to do so much that i dont get the chance to often do so the the house ends up looking like a ghost town with tumbleweed hair blowing by and feels like nothins been done

corgis are the best dogs in the world... so much personality.

they never stop shedding though. And it only gets worse as it gets older.

Even with daily brushing, you will still get hair all over floor/furniture. There really isn't anything you can do to stop that, so much as you can only minimize the damage.

buy a fucking slicker brush and fucking brush your damn double coated dog once in a while OP

Furminator. Get it. My cousin's a groomer and she SWEARS by it.

It's expensive, but if you were considering medication, it'll save you a lot of money.

you see, in the 7-8 months me and my partner were reading up on breeds before choosing our pup, i was pushing for korgi all the way.
i never once read in any of the breed guides about excessive shedding for korgi's, although before the stage of getting a comprehensive of the breed we happend to run into our baby "chug" willow.
was thinking of getting a korgi next but down to the size of willow, i think sticking with toy would be wiser, maybe a pappillion cross
pic not really related

in all the months you spent researching them, you never learnt how to spell corgi? What were you researching, picture books?

Furminators are really pricey, and do the same job as a #40 blade (which you can sometimes find cheaper, especially used, which wouldn't matter in this case because you'd take the moving blade out) when used for carding. You can buy Bamboo's alternative (http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2751493&utm_medium=googleproduct&mr:ref
