Black spots on chin Anonymous
My cat has black spots on his chin. I can feel them when i scratch his chin but now i'm afraid to hurt him buy rubbing the spots wrong. I've just been considering them blackheads. and saying he has "cat acne" Is this correct?

Pic related, thats him. I couldn't get a good picture of the spots though.

so that's what it is! my cat has it too.
Buying a ceramic bowl for him immediately. I'm relieved....thought it was cancer or smt.

Yeah, my cat gets them as well. Never caused any problems, I tend to get rid of them when I feel them there.

Consider washing your cats chin with a damp cloth every now and then, afterall, it's not like their tongue has rasps on the underside to do it for them.

My sisters cat had this. Yeah its cat ache, try some antibacterial soap, or like human ache pads/hydrogen peroxide. If its super serious vet can give you pills for it.

Some cats react badly to nylon collars too. Mine wears a properly sized leather dog collar.
