PETA doesn't give a shit about anything but animals. People, insects, bacteria, and viruses don't count as animals.

Alright, let me rephrase that. PETA doens't give a shit about anything but mammals (excluding humans), fish, birds, and reptiles. Anything else thats alive apparently isn't important enough to care about.

Nevermind that billions of bacteria as killed everyday in lab experiments all over the world. They aren't fuzzy and people don't have an emotional attachment to them so they don't matter. And since PETA is so concerned about the exploitation of living things, shouldn't they and ALF break into laboratories and factories that are involved in the making of bacterial pesticide to set them free so they'll be free from human oppression?

And since the goal of PETA is for total animal freedom with no exploitation from humans at all, that means every animal everywhere would need to be released, pets, captured strays, any animals being used in food production, etc. But I don't think that would work out to well for many of the now freed animals. Many of the animals that would be released have spent their lives in controlled conditions, having everything done for them, how would those animals fare if there were suddenly cut loose from the structure they've known all their lives?

tl;dr PETA has fine ideas about ending animal cruelty, but they take themselves to seriously and don't practice what they preach.

I'll take that bacteria idea even further. PETA members should all give themselves AIDS. Why? Because your won body had a natural defense system set up of phagocytes, natural killer cells, complementary cells, eosinophils, interferons, T cells, B cells, and even acidic liquids like stomach acid and urine kill bacteria. And processes like inflammation and fever serve to even further hasten to death of the foreign cells.

By infecting themsleves with HIV/AIDS, they're hurting their own immune system and their own natural cells, and letting other foreign cells take over their systems, letting those cells live on, not being subject to the harsh treatment of the bodies natural defense systems and instead giving them a nice warm and moist place to live and grow. Until they die, then the insects and decomposing bacteria can come in and do their jobs, making even further use of the body after death.

By the death of even a single member of PETA, billions of lives could be saved.

Remember, think of the bacteria.
