Just fucking keep it, is my point. Toss it into a pickle jar with airholes, some dirt, a water dish, and give it a couple crickets every other day. Dust the crickets with vitamin supplement every other feeding (~$12 at a pet store, but it'll last for 100 geckos' lives). Shit, if you're the kind of guy who enjoys building shit, you could make a decent display enclosure and stick a whole bunch of those fuckers in. This is one of many animals here that you shouldn't feel bad about taking from the wild and keeping. They do great in captivity, there's an endless population of them in your yard, and they're entertaining. HOW IS IT NOT IN YOUR BEST INTEREST TO KEEP THEM?
