Found it today buried in some cardboard.Absolutely HUGE beetle.sorry about the horrible picture quality.. done on a non-focusing phone and it was crawling at a decent clip for a beetle. :) more pics inc.

sweet! those are hard to find. rhino beetle, something..but name her bessy or something.
Female Lucanidae usually have pointy protruding jaws. Not hueg like the males, but usually just longer than the head. Mandibles look too short. I wager it's a large scarabeid, or scarab beetle.
