I managed to see two even with our mucky skies. I'll be going back out at 5AM though, to see if I can snag a few more.

It's kind of chilly here in milk bag country. I went out my bedroom window and sat on my roof for about 15 minutes before getting bored. I really wanna see one though =/

the few I saw were very bright and unmistakable, but I had to be out a while. One actually was weird in that it looked as slow as an airplane but it definitely wasn't one, and it never burned out.
But most were instant and very bright. Some were short, some crossed the whole sky.

my mother and I saw about 15 or so - we drove out to a rural area of wisconsin

we did see two slow moving ones - pretty neat, not sure if the orangy smaller one moving E to N was a satellite or a meteorite. The first was kinda duller and thick moving E to S.

Some had trails, some did not

I saw 30 over the course of the evening.

I too saw one of those faint airplane ones. I thought it was a satellite or the space station, but it didn't look right. It was going NE.

I saw Over 40 of them last night here in the north of the UK. The sky was clear for the first time in the last week and we had a great show. I managed to see two of the ones that skim the surface of the atmosphere - really beautiful - they seemed much slower than the others and were in view for around 3-4 seconds each.
