It's the Ringworld!
Ringworld > Halo
Halo is thousands of miles in diameter. The Ringworld is 93 MILLION MILES IN DIAMETER. Booyah.

It look like Halo. What was first? And what is the size of the biggest of the 7 halo. (probably less then 93 MILLION MILES IN DIAMETER)

The concept of ringworlds has been around for decades, long before Halo, and is actually a fairly common concept in science fiction.

As for the Halo sizes...I'm assuming they're all the same size, since they're all built by the same race for the same purpose. Maybe as they went on, they got better at it, and thus made different sized Halo's, but I'm leaning towards them being equal sized.

if they were all built around life sustaining planets, theres a good chance they're all around the same size

the Ringworld (Niven-Ring) is a simplified, modified version of a Dyson Sphere. Niven was the first to postulate it, in 1970 though, not really that old.
the Dyson Sphere concept was first written about in 1937 (Star Maker, Olaf Stapledon), and it was formalized in 1959 by Freeman Dyson.

"Halos" and Ringworlds are both puny in comparison to Dyson Spheres of course.

OP actually looks more like a sectional cut of a very large Stanford Torus than a Niven-Ring or Halo.

Spoiler warning:
2006-1970=36 years = 3 decades and 6 years.
:P

In any case....it seems like a while back, in my hardcore nerd days, there was a race in Traveller (a GURPS setting) that would build dyson spheres around the suns of rival civilizations...cutting off all heat and light and eventually causing those planets to die out.

Ah, to be able to go back to those days when I worked 20 hours a week and spent the rest of my time hanging out with friends...this 'responsable' living on my own and working full time stuff....it's for the birds! The birds I tell you!
