How about this one? It looks similar.

That is a boxing spider.

OP's pic is a Pugilist spider.

You're wrong, it's a fucking fisticuff spider, did you even fucking LOOK at the goddamn pedipalps!?
>> Bitter Anon !!WJLRQ1cwCyZ
>>148621
Fisticuff spiders generally have smaller, less bulbous pedipalps, though they are more aggressive.>>148598's spider shows the classic "uniform" of a boxing spider (note the 'belt' about the midsection), while OP's spider has the classic stance of the Pugilist spider.

I see /b/tards have spilled onto every board now.

>>148624
What? I wouldn't be caught dead in /b/!

Mostly because if I was dead I wouldn't be browsing 4chan. I'm pretty sure I could add a clause into my will that someone has to seat me in front of a computer and use my fingers to post "lol posting dead zombbyyyy", though.

im sure the ppls in /k/ would really get a kick out of that one
>> Bitter Anon !!WJLRQ1cwCyZ

Well, I would be afraid they would come shoot up my family, mistaking them for zombies, but I'm pretty sure my internet stalker would get here first and kill them (my family) with a cricket bat.

THEY DONT HAVE TO, IVE ALREADY SHOT THEM AND EATEN THEM. FUCKED YER DOG TOO
>> It's a wolf spider Zip
I'm pretty sure it's a type of wolf spider, which is a type of jumping spider. They can get kind of big. Theyre generally nice, and eat bugs that you dont want in your house, and arent poisonous. Theyre bites do hurt, but you have to REALLY piss them off to get them to bite you.

What. The. Fuck.
I hope you're a troll and not really that retarded.
>> Anonymous
what? Wolf spiders are pissy little fucks, they bite over everything but they aren't poisonous.
Oh, but their bites hurt like fuck.

Anyway, I don't think it's a wolf spider, its mandibles look to big and the wolf spiders I've seen (while they have had big fangs) haven't got teeth that big. Chances are because of big teeth you're safe when it comes to poison.

The two stripes on its cephalathorax are common to most house/grass spiders, which it appears to be. If that is the case it is harmless. There is a chance however, since I am no expert, that it is a Hobo Spider. If that is the case take caution as some reports state that the bite of a hobo can cause necrosis.

It's a fucking female hobo spider. >_> google it retards.

Unless you live in NW, don't worry. Its definitely a house spider. I saw one the other night climbing the wall behind my computer. These guys are big, but harmless. Lots of them in the Northeast here.

Uhm, all spiders are venomous. That is how spiders kill their prey. However, the venom of most spiders is not harmful to humans. 99.9% of spiders on the planet could envenomate you and there would just be a tiny red "bite". Only a tiny handful are of concern, such as the brown recluse, black widow, and funnel web.

Wolf spider

Their bite hurts, swells up to one or two inches in diameter, and gets full of puss.
>> Puddin
It's not a wolf or hobo spider.

That is 100% without a doubt a male grass spider. You can tell by the stripes, legs, and the boxing glove like limbs by it's mouth. (I'm too tired to be technical, so shoot me)

You are a retard. Wolf spiders look nothing like grass spiders.
>> Anonymous
Grass spiders and wolf spiders are the same thing or completely different things, common names are the fake way of describing things, use scientific names. But yes it is a mature male(enlarged embolli on the pedipalps) it's harmless and not a hobo spider...doesn't even look close to a hobospider. Don't worry he's just out trolling for spider booty

We must live in different countries then, in mine wolf spiders are very much unique and easily identifiable.

Grass spiders are tiny, and live in webs.

It's a grass spider. They're fucking fast, too. Trying to catch one without hurting it is a feat.
>> Anonymous
>>149725

Correct.

It's a grass spider, also known as agelenopsis. They're harmless but fairly large for house spiders and fast as hell.
>> Anonymous
It's certainly not a brown recluse or a wolf spider. If you go outside to an inside corner of your house, or next to a rainspout, you might find some of these spiders have made very dense, flat webs with a funnel on one end. I've also seen them make webs in bushes. They are some sort of funnel weaving spider, possibly a grass spider. Probably completely harmless.

It's not a goddman hobo spider. It doesn't even resemble it. It's a grass spider.
