Hey /an/ I have a plant here that i found while walking around that has a strong minty or sage like.

Ive been looking at common sage or lavender plants and it doesnt seem to fit with anything ive found now, but it definitely has the scent of a mint like plant. Something like vicks vapor rub... either way im going to dry it and what not for its smell but i would like to know what kind of plant it is, could you help me /an/?

i did see flowers on it, that resembled the structure of lavender or sage plant in the way that it have a spear budding with flowers, of blue or lavender coloration. The plant was low growing and ground cover like. the stalks were 10 to 13 inches in hight.

Russian sage?

I grew it a few years ago and I don't remember what the leaves look like, but that's the first thing I thought of when you mentioned the flowers.

yeah no square stem...hmmm

other interesting feature i can think of is it has the silver like center stalk with that fine hair all over it...kind of fuzzy i suppose. And as far as the flower, the blossom doesnt spread quite as large as that, or seperate from the main stalk. Also the plant is acting as a ground cover, rather than a bush or as a plant that is coming from a central location in the grass.

still unknown : /
