Hey /an/. My family loves animals. We have 4 corgis but one will die soon due to old age and cancer. I get to pick out the next pet. I have been really into schipperkes for the past two years, and want one to be my loyal friend through the ages, and they look like tiny werewolves. I also want a long haired scottish fold to be my 4chan cat, but wouldn't know where to find one. And my family has never owned a cat.

I R NEED HALPZORZ! which one should i go with?

Dogs are more fun, but cats are easier. Take your pick.

get another dog. they will kill the cat if you get it, and your ass will be bawwwwing in here to unsympathetic ears like another dumbass OP.

that's what i've been doing for a while, but haven't asked people with experience.

go eat hickory smoked horse buttholes from a cup.

Did you think that your corgis shed a lot? That Schipperke is gonna out shed them all. You'd be surprised how much undercoat is in that fur.

Oh, and for finding a Scottish Fold? Breeders. Duh. Try CatFancy for a listing, Google the mofo, etc etc. If you're gonna go all out and get a fancy pants breed, you should get the best that you possibly can. Same goes for your barge dog, too.

Die in a fire.

OP: Schipperkes suck.

OP: I've lived with schipperkes since I was pretty young, and honestly I never liked them much. Obviously this is just my particular experience with these particular dogs.. but they've never seemed to be as happy-go-lucky as other breeds we've owned. I'd do some thorough Googling of the breed and see what pros/cons you can find.

I would just choose any of the cats my family has had over any of the schipperkes any day.

Bitter does not buttsex cats nor does he give reach-arounds. Reach-arounds are for fags.

My first dog was a schipperke, and as long as you get them young (as in a few weeks), you can personalize them with your cats and they won't try to eat them.

They tend to howl a lot. They get really defensive, so make sure that if there are children around, the dog knows the children.

They are difficult to train. Obedience is a serious problem, and they do not like to answer to names. You virtually have to send a schipperke to a professional trainer, unless you have trained a lot of dogs. Otherwise, they will shit on your clean, white carpet.

Enjoy.
