so I was thinking of getting a husky for my birthday. I'm not sure on the breed yet, although I know I don't want a smaller one. Got any advice? this is gonna be my first dog.

Get a siberian husky, they can be destructive but they are very smart, friendly, and awesome

don't bother, they're too high maintenance and can get REALLY pushy.

If you can dedicate every living moment to it, go ahead.

Don't get a husky.

If you train it correctly, it wont be terrible, just a little giddy. But if you poorly do it, It may tear up your couch and dig under your fence.

So invest in dog school? or just get the spray bottle?

you should look into getting a Goberian; half husky, half golden retriever. The beauty of a husky, the temrement of a golden. Good combo.

BE THE ALPHA MALE. Okay, I can be firm like that. As long as I don't have to be a dick to the dog.

hilarious note, my brother has a miniature doberman that will actually reach into his mouth and yank whatever he was eating out.
