Hi /an/! I'm facing a problem here. I can't recognize the bug in this picture. I think it's some kind of a tic with lots of offspring.. Could you tell me what this is?

Well, it certainly is NOT a tick. Some kind of larval insect probably. It looks a little bit like an antlion so it might be something related to them.

I wouldn't be so sure. Antlions are in order of neuroptera and this definately isn't.. Neuroptera's have wings.

I'd say it's a Hemiptera order bug. I'f one asks me, I'd say its an aphid

This is a lacewing larva. The stuff on its back is detritus it has used to camouflage itself. It's a beneficial garden predator and can do you no harm. Also, it's spelled "tick" and looks absolutely, positively nothing remotely like a tick.

And people who kill insects just for wandering into their house are fucking ingrates.

How can you know a word like Neuroptera and not realize that people are referring to antlion LARVA? They are wingless, look exactly like lacewing larva, and are much, much more famous than the adult stage. They are also called "doodlebugs" in some circles.
