My cat, the black one in the picture, is a 12-13 year old female that weighs about 4lbs.
She's started doing this thing in the last year where, when she sleeps, she goes limp, twitching and mewing in her sleep. The past few weeks, it's gone from just twitching to flailing like she's having a seizure... When she does this, she tends to fall off of whatever she's sleeping on and lands on the floor. At which point she wakes up, runs off to get a drink of water, then comes back to go back to sleep and falls off of what ever she's sleeping on again. Rinse and repeat constantly...
It's gotten to where I've taken to putting pillows along the base of her favorite sleeping spots (the couch, coffee table, side table, book self, etc) and crossed my fingers. Having checked with a vet, there's nothing 'wrong' with her they can tell, and it's not epilepsy... But damn I wish she'd go back to normal.

it's called the Vet.

...what are you feeding her?

Dumb ass, he said he brought the cat to the vet already. You DO know how to read right?

Holy fuck that's a tiny cat! Is it one of those super expensive miniatures? I had a 30lb male cat that would do the same thing. He fell off of so many things that he'd wake up and catch himself whenever he'd roll over in his sleep, despite the fact that he would be on the floor or otherwise in no danger of falling.

Nope...
She popped out of a neighbor-lady's cat.
Tiny and bullied by her siblings so I took the little rat home.

Get her a bed with high sides. Put it somewhere she likes sleeping and try to get her to use it.

I don't know this cat personally, but a lot of older cats I know start shrinking.

Wow, you got lucky. Miniature cats go for a LOT.

She didn't shrink... I utterly promise you that. She's actually gained 5 ounces or so this year. She's fat now. Ha!

And as for the bed.... I'm trying to get her to sleep in one again just for my sanity. Not know if she'll accept it, though.

I don't consider her a 'miniature' cat, really... She was just the runt of the litter. Nothing special.
