You are on 4chan, I wouldn't be surprised if most of the users were 21 years old and still living in their parents basement.

like you're supposed to do university and move out when you're 21. fucktard with elementary schooling and a shit job, are you?

Stop trying, it's your parents house, it's your parents rules, when you move out you can have your own dog. For obvious reasons they dont want a shitting pissing dog in their house.

Grow up and move out.

Having a puppy will make you feel way better than if you didn't have one, it's worth the trouble of cleaning up after them and training them, without a doubt. That being said, I don't really know your age or your situation, but argue that you'll take good care of it, and that they won't have to worry about it at all. Is it house trained already? Where would it stay? Are things you should consider first. Make sure you're ready for one, if you are, bring one home one day. Parents will shit bricks at first, but then grow to love it just like you do.

Im 19, and have been living on my own for a year while attending a university. Also my friends and I make fun of the people still living at home (because A. they are most likely poor or B. they are antisocial and scared of dorms) I'm rich enough to live in a condo, so i dont live in the dorms.

In my country a new culture has sprung up over the past five or so years; because of drastic housing shortages and the massive amount of money needed for tertiary education, virtually everyone under the age of 25 is still living with their parents. I managed to get out at twenty one, but I've been sharehousing as it's impossible to live by yourself. There are entire families being crammed into one bedroom apartments. I ended up moving back home due to a variety of reasons: my parents became ill and I became the carer and mortgage payer, housing grew so expensive that I simply wasn't able to afford it, and I was over sharehousing. Over it. I've met ever variation of psychosexual freak known to man, and every single fucking house I was in contained at least one person suffering from OCD. I managed to escape a second time earlier this year. I have an entire house to myself but I've had to move three hundred kilometres inland to get it. The pleasure of being able to leave a jumper on the lounge or a glass in the sink without someone throwing a screaming fit and threatening to burn my things is unbelievable. (I had one flatmate who used to threaten to call my mother. The hell?)

Anyway, between one thing or another, people in my country are staying home longer and longer. There's simply no choice. I had to go out west to get my job, and not everyone is suited for the mining industry.
