/a/, google has fail me. Do you a place in the US where they let you pet large cats? (lions, tigers etc.) like sanctuaries, rescue sites?

Uhh, depends? There are Big Cat sanctuaries in the U.S... I know of a local one in my area. But it's privately owned... so it really depends on where you live and such. If you want to see if there are Big Cat sanctuaries in your area, maybe call the local ASPCA or Humane Society. Sometimes these places affiliate or collaborate together.

Buy a bobcat or a lynx from a dealer. Teach it to protect and fight for you.

Wild predators are called "wild" and "predators" for a reason. Unless they are thoroughly tamed, or bred for docility, you probably shouldn't be petting them.

these are big cats. Big cats are very territorial and do not like being touched by humans. You can see and look from a distance but its not recommended that you touch. Because big cats can be affectionate one second and want to devour your arm the next. Second NEVER get a wild big cat kitten as a PET!!!!! NEVER!! NEVER!!! You will get very angry or unhappy when they get older and it will become very very unhappy when it gets big.
