LIVE WORMS AnonymousPrime !/RDa1B/y1o
Where do you get your live worms to feed your pets /an/?

I can't seem to find them anywhere to feed my Bichirs. I have frozen blood worms of course, but I'm talking about larger live worms.

No petstore I've visited seems to have them at all and Google isn't being my friend today.

Also, a pic of Scott Hall, my 5" Senegal Bichir, being his awesome self.

And blood worms/nightcrawlers.

Seconding fishing supply.

Also, if you have a Petsmart in your area, they're supposed to carry red wigglers, earthworms, and nightcrawlers. Or, at least, they did when I worked there. You could probably ask them to order some.

I practically live at those Petsmarts, didn't see them at all but I might've missed them. Thanks and I'll go check the bait shops later today.

You'd probably have to ask one of the employees to get them for you. We kept ours in a refrigerator in one of the back rooms.

Feeding your fish live worms may make them overly aggressive. Once they get the taste of live food they may not wanna kick the habit and they may start to eat each other. Although if you insist on feeding your fish live food you should consider feeding them sea monkeys. Technically it's called brine shrimp. You can get it at any pet store that sells fish, and it's pretty cheap. Just don't feed them too much cause the shrimp will die in fresh water after a few of hours and clog your filter.

Well, I usually feel them pellet food (Been using Arowana sticks, algae waffers, and frozen brine shrimp) but I do like to give them something live every now and then as a treat.

My Delhezi was actually leaned toward live food at the store that I bought him from but I managed to bring him around to the algea waffers (cunched into pieces and then thrown in) and the Aro sticks.
