Ok, I've had this tank running for about 6 months. It has 3 African cichlids in it

The biggest fish, an auratus cichlid, hasn't been eating lately, he'll TRY to eat, but he'll regurgitate his food instantly. Is this reason for alarm?

Pretty sure it's a male, it's a black and white auratus cichlid.

You need to stop letting your fish read Cosmo

I have had african cichlids successfully breed offspring many times. They spit out food when they hold the eggs or fry in the mouth this is a good time to move the fish into a tank where the other won't eat the young but don't over stress the fish. If not you'll be lucky if a few young make it a few weeks.

I think one of my auratus changed color once. I'd monitor the fish more, see if you can see babies. They get a weird little bump under their jaw once their mouths start to fill up.

Post your setup. Your fishtank is barely visible, but what I see looks shitty.

If I would be a fish I would hate living in such a tank.

Whats the tank setup? The beer bottles and stuff kinda look spiffy. I always wanted to try out a setup like that inside my tank but I was worried some of my fish might get stuck inside the bottle. =(

this tank is filthy. Clean it. get test kits and find out what is out of order with water quality and then fix it. are those cigarette butts floating at the top?
