So /an/, today i woke up and found out that my 3 pet turtles died. They're generally left outside in a tank with a metal grill over it. Some animal apparently came, snatched them out, and ate one of them, leaving the other 2 nearly dead. They're all dead now. WHAT ANIMAL COULD IT HAVE BEEN, /an/? I NEED MY REVENGE.

What kind of turtles did you have?
>> Fawkes
where do you live? what's the wild life like near your house?
>> Anonymous
It's your fault for leaving them outside with just a metal grill over the tank. Opossums, raccoons, hell, even a hawk or crows could have gotten to them you dumbass.

this is the only place i've ever seen someone say 'IT'S YOUR FAULT FAGGOT' to someone whose pets just died (and of course this isn't the first time)

red eared slider i guess they were called.

they had been outside for around a year already, and I've never seen a raccoon or anything like that in the 12 years I've lived in the Bay Area

raccoons live all the fuck over the bay area you idiot! fuck! you are dumb as shit aren't you?

If you're looking for revenge on whatever killed your turtles, you might as well kill yourself.

raccoons are most likely to have eaten turtles

DO THIS.

Why hurt another animal because you failed to keep the ones in your care safe?
Animals do not act maliciously, they are creatures of instinct. It is therefore impossible to take any just revenge on an animal. Read Moby Dick sometime.
If you are seriously considering hurting what killed your turtles simply for revenge then you should take a good long look at yourself.

Bonobos conduct acts of war

A lone fox will kill baby fur seals up and down a coast with no intention of eating them. Reports put the number of deaths well over a hundred.

Animals fight and do "mean" things all the fucking time. Don't be a naive douche.

/an/
I put down some rat poison and dog food on a dish in my turtle tank, what are the chances the coon(s) will come back tonight? im hopeing they will smell it and return.

REVENGE WILL BE MINE.

Open a can of tuna. That will attract whatever came out. Mind you, it will probably attract a ton of other animals too...

LOL LIVE TURTLES SMELL LIKE TUNA LOL
>> Anonymous
>>257612
...the point wasn't to mimic the smell of a turtle moron, it was to draw an animal out into the open. Fucking dumbass.

i understand the your "theory" behind it, but it fails.

>>257617
oh ok then, i guess raccoons and cats don't like fish...
>> Anonymous
>>257619
cats dont have anything to do with this argument, you fail as using them as a example to prove your point as they are unrelated.

i never said raccoons dont like fish.

OP, using a can of tuna will be guaranteed to bring whatever got your turtles out into the open. The smell is potent enough to draw them from a good enough distance as well.

You think flies killed his turtles?
>> Anonymous
It sounds like the animal that killed your turtles is... you.
>> Anonymous
perhaps you should not kil another animal because you failed to keep your turtles safe. if it was a racoon...then there could be dozens living in your area...why kill any of them when you're not sure which one it was. more importantly....why are you being a asshole and killing another animals needlessly? what if a neighbor's domesticated animal gets to your "brillant" trap first? then you're guilty of killing someone else's pet.......
>> Anonymous
>>257752
yet another reason why domesticated animals should not be allowed to roam free. if they are to be outside, it should be supervised. we keep dogs leashed and in kennels, but cats get free reign? not fair.
next you're gonna say it's the driver's fault that your cat was running around on the freeway at 3am, right?
>> Anonymous
It's not the animals fault for being careless. Take a look in the mirror and blame the retard you see looking back at you. Maybe cut him a little bit, for revenge?
>> Anonymous
>>257783
when was the last time a cat running around on the street jumped up on your chest and started violently licking your face? or ran at you barking?

>>257608
you can and WILL get a huge fine and/or jail, community service, whatever, if you kill someone's pet and they catch you.

Nature is amoral. So that point still stands.

Either way, you are a faggot.

>>257401
>i love 4chan
>i

So are you. Perhaps the reason they are dead is because of your own actions.
>> Anonymous
>>257600
Animals do not understand the difference between right and wrong, as has been said, they are amoral. Sure, animals kill other animals, sometimes needlessly, but when they do so they don't understand the 'wrong' that they are commiting and make a concious choice to commit it.
Revenge is action that commits a wrong in payment for a wrong commited. If no wrong has been committed in the first place how can you have revenge?

As an addition to this, if you killed a problem fox to in order to save said seals I woulnd't have a problem with that. You would be doing it to save the lives of other animals rather than to take petty revenge on an animals for actions that it essentially has no control over.
