hey /an/ whats the name for this kind of ab-normality? my brother says its poly-dachtomy (I don't even know if thats spelled right)
>> Anonymous
Not sure what it's called, but it has to do with inbreeding
>> Anonymous
Polydacty, it's pretty common actually. It won't do the cat any harm.
>> Anonymous
It's called a FREAK. MUTANT. KILL IT BEFORE IT BREEDS.

Both are right. Polydactyly is the state of being a polydactyl. Poly=many, dactyl=finger.

come now anon, it was only a matter of time before cats evolved thumbs and took their rightful place as supreme overlords

i thought about it but i like kittens too much. im taking this little guy with me when i move again. my parents already agreed to take care of my cat for me seeing as how it would be difficult to move a mother and 4 kittens across state.

The descendants of Hemingway's original polydactyl cat still live in the Hemingway House, which is now a museum. There are about 60 cats, but only a couple of them unfixed so that the line doesn't die out. I'm guessing they only leave polydactylous ones unfixed.

I agree, I thought the "abnormality" was that a man had the body of a cat and human legs, and was standing on a nudie lady's back!

Okay, I'm squinting really hard, and I don't really see the-

Oh wait, there it is.

I hear them referred to as "double pawed" cats. It looks really cute if they're long furred; like giant clawed mittens. We had a cat like that named Monsterpaws.

Sometimes one of the nails will curve and grow into the cats paw when it gets older. Take care of that; it's probably very uncomfortable. Otherwise, all this does is give them more claws to climb your leg with.
