Hello /an/
There's a bat in my room, no idea how it got there. Methods to get it out and more importantly, will it turn into a vampire?

Open your windows. Turn on all your lights and wait for dark.
If you get bit your going to have to go to the doctors.$$$$$$$$

Just eat apples, an apple a day keeps the doctor away. I choose this one.

It's pretty obvious, bat in room -> how to get it out.
Anyways, after flirting with it to see if it turned into a sexy man and this not occuring, I managed to trap it in bin with tennis racket and it's now back in the wild.
Thanks for the helpful tips /an/!

I had the same thing happen to me a couple weeks back. I didn't catch it and he got in my storage closet and I never saw him again...

In areas that animal control officers exist you can call the city/county to remove it. The issue isn't how to get it out. If it wants back in the issue is. How/where did it get in? You could have 50 of them in your celling and never know it. They are harmless. My last time having to deal with one. WE got a used fridge. We unloaded it from off the truck to the ground. AS i got off the truck to lean it back pick it up and carry it into the house. I looked down there was a bat pinned under the front right leg of the fridge. My buddy leaned the fridge back to start carring it in before i could say anything. It flew straight in the closest dark area to it My open door 6 feet away. I never told my wife and we never saw it again. Try opening your window at night it should go out and never return. Its in your room by mistake. It does not want to be there.
