Hey /an/, I never come here to post, sometime to lurk but now I have a question, so today my dog, who is pictured to my left started limping and not putting any pressure on one of his back legs. He was okay this morning but when I got home from work my brother informed me he started walking funny. We adopted him from animal rescue and they told us his back leg had been broken when he was a puppy, and he's always run a bit wonky because of it. It was humid today, so I figure it just made his joints ache, but is there something a vet can do if my dog has arthritis? Or should I take him in?Large picture, but he's my little buddy so who cares.
Uh, I should mention he isn't acting himself. JRs are usually pretty spazzy, but he was very calm, and went straight to his cage instead of coming to sleep on my bed, even when I called him.
try and take him to the shelter or at least contact them, most of the time when you get an animal from places similar to the spca they'll help you out on medical problems that occur after they informed you about the problem before adoption..... good luck
