OK, I have my 29gal fish tank going, and I have about 10 little zebra fish in there for starters. There is a slight white haze. What is the have, and how do I keep the water clear? I was eventually going to put live plants in there. Will that help?

White haze is either dust from substrate, tiny micro bubbles from filtration/water addition, or you have a bacteria bloom going on in your water becuase your substrate/filter has not been adequately colonized by nitrifying bacteria.

It should clear up withing a few days, you can try a water change if you want, or go buy some bacteria seeding potion. A couple low light plants would help since they would bring a shit ton of bacteria with them and use some of the nutrients the bacteria are feeding on..assuming it is a bacteria bloom. Also wipe the inside of the front of the tank real quick firt to make sure it is not just substrate dust that has settled on the glass and obscuring the clear water.

Most likely it is still cycling. The tank needs some time to build up a biological filter to get rid of ammonia and nitrite. All you can really do is make 25% water changes every day and wait until it clears up. Do yourself a favor and look up the nitrogen cycle and get yourself a water test kit that can test for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH, and hardness.

there could be a variety of causes:
I suspect a bacterial bloom. If you have only been cycling with fish for a few days the increase in fish waste has likely caused a pop explosion among the bacteria in your tank (the good ones.) If it concerns you, do a 10-25% water change.
It also might be your substrate - some will leach crap into your water. If you got standard gravel from the hobby shop you should be cool though.
If the water stays hazy make sure to check the water quality.
Good luck
