hey an/ need advice

si i have this cat, he is an indoor can who recently was bit, i took him to the vet, they cleaned him up and gave me some pills, my problem is that the vet told me to keep him inside for 45 days, he is an out door cat, usually just comes in to sleep, eat, and be loved. now he is miserable, just sits by the door all day and meows, when he sees that he is not going to be let out he lays down next to the door, i am trying to make him feel better, by playing with him and opening the windows so he could look/smell out side, but he just sits by the door, looking sad- its been about 10 days now that this has been going on, what should i do? just ignore his cries? should i say fuck it and let him out, if he gets bit again he can just get over it or suffer through it and die- i cant afford any more vet bills for at least 2 months.
fuck this sucks- any advice?

Keep him in for the 45 days. You must. It may help to open a window and make a cat seat for him. If you're lucky, he'll lose interest in outside (yeah right!).

It's a shame, but I guess he'll just have to be kept in. Be careful about opening windows, though - he might escape.

He just thinks you're punishing him, and he's wondering why you won't let him out. but you should NOT let him out.
Make sure you play with him alot, give him lots of love to get through it so he knows it's not his fault.
One of my cats did a similar things when he was injured and we had to keep him in.

Yeah, you really just have to grin and bear it. By showing affection and playing with him, so he knows you're not mad, you're already doing the best you can.

op here

he is rejecting me, when i give him love and pats he just curls up real tight and pulls his head away from me- his usual behavior is to stretch and head but, and he wont play just looks at me indifferently- and he usually goes nuts when you tie a his mouse to a ribbon (we call it cat fishing) i have even picked him up a few times and brought him away from the door and tried to offer him wet food- HE REFUSED IT and returned to the door (he has been eating at night while we are asleep)
what else can i do to try to win him over, i have tried ignoring him and spoiling him, but he really wants out.
help!

well if you're REALLY desperate - maybe try to find a place that sells cat harnesses. Then you can take him outside, but keep an eye on him.

OP you are a stupid fuck. If you let your cats selfish cries for what got him screwed in the first place for then I suggest letting your cat out so it understand that your his bitch and he can get anything he wants cause you want the problem to be over.

Harness isn't a terrible idea. He might hate it, but he's as desperate as you are.
