Armchair ethologist here. I have a few questions about cats. First, why do many cats lash out/ get pissed off if they are walking somewhere and you pass them or try to walk in front? Does anyone else notice this? Also, what is up with that spot above the base of the tail that makes cats arch their backs and sometime lick their noses? Does it have a name? What is the point of it?
anyone?
someday cats will destroy the world and create catland
1. Cats are ADD. They are either trying to "catch" you because they think 'ooh look a distraction' or they are trying to follow you because they're just being a copycat.2. They do that because it's like someone massaging your prostate.
>>309867nasty. on point number one though, the cats that i know that do this will run faster to try to get in front after swatting ankles. also ears are flat, not up as in play. are they smart enough to want to be the "leader"?
