Yellow jackets, on the other hand, are evil. Watch out OP, they do bite for no reason. They smell fear, or just the sweat created by fear, and follow it. I know you want to be nice and relocate them, but do the world and yourself a favor, and just kill them. If you are able to knock the nest down without getting stung, they will move on to a new location. They don't bother with old nests if they are tampered with (At least from all of my experience with them).
