Thinking about getting a bearded dragon sometime soon. What are your thoughts? Are they easy to take care of?

and also, how long do betta fish typically live. I've had one for three years, and I do absolutely nothing to it. It's had fin rot for about a year and a half but just won't die. I also clean it's tank once a month and just leave all the windex in the tank before I refill it.

Your fish will die soon, of old age if nothing else.

You should not get a bearded dragon if that's how you're treating your fish.

I used to have two anoles that lived about two years. I'm usually caring for my pets, but this fucking betta fish is indesctructible.

Bearded Dragons are very easy to care for once they are about a year old. The small babies, the ones you'll find for cheap and at reptile conventions usually, tend to have a high mortality rate. But this is normal for most reptiles.

They are very approachable, tend to be a bit lazy, but fairly friendly. I don't remember off hand, but think they're mostly insectivores, where as an iguana would take veggies and such.

Reptiles aren't something you should jump right in with though. Do your research. They are better ornaments and decorations then actual pets.

You are to lasy to care for fish, wich takes about 10 min. a week. Why do you think you will have enough time to care about lizard?

great pets, but go to www.beardeddragon.org/bjive and talk to people there before you decide to get one. they do take a lot of specific care..

You leave windex in the tank and don't rinse it? That's your problem dumbshit. Bettas are pretty hardy fish. Each one I've ever owned has lived 2-4 years and I know someone that's had one for 6.

God if you fail this hard at taking care of something as simple as a betta don't even think about getting a bearded dragon.
