here is a close-up of the bulbs? nuts? whatever this plant was grown from.

None of the flower shops here speak english, and the only name on this one was "Green Ball", which is no halp.

I think your first picture shows an ordinary weeping fig. I don't know why the root/stem looks so unusual and perhaps that is the point of buying it, since they are normally sought for their tall, straight upright trunks and dark green leaves.

I can't remember what the second one is, but it's a very common houseplant sold usually with lucky bamboo thinghies.

meh, no the big root thingies are common, but I still don't know the name.

I only ask, cos one of the legs are all withered...

Mandragora is the genus name for mandrakes. Their roots are all below-ground, though.

That's called a Earthroot, you need 20 or something Herbalism to gather it. I think you can make weak troll's blood potion with it, if you know alchemy.

Indeed...

First one is Ficus microcarpa, the 'Ficus Ginseng' plant; the other plant is Castanospermum australe (Australian Chestnut species)

I think we sell those at wal-mart. It looks like one of the Ficus Ginseng Bonsai we have
