Bonsai Anonymous
Yesterday I bought a bonsai, but as soon as I came home I realized that I didn't know how to correctly take care of it. I browsed a couple of sites, but I'm still quite confused (I don't even know what kind of bonsai I bought, I think it's a Ligustrum but I'm not sure).
Any good advice?

There's a 99.99% chanche that it's gonna die wheter you take care of it or not, so don't even bother.

i had a bonsai once for.... i think a year or so.
anyway, give it each day a small cup of water (i think 'round 3cl) and each 2 weeks use liquid fertilizer. (mix less than 1 cl fertilizer with a cup of 3cl water)and throw it in.
for the rest try to keep the leafs daily wet and
cut some twigs if they become too long.
I'm not a pro at this but these are actually the basics i gave my bonsai and he did fine.
I wish luck to you and your bonsai

To take care of it well, it's best to know what kind of plant it is, and what that plant needs. Pretty much any tree or shrub can be used for a bonsai, so there's no one way to take care of them.

Not if you have any idea what you're doing

well thats ok because this is a plant, and not an animal.

No, it won't die if you got a native plant and keep it _outside_. Bonsais for rooms are often semitropical plants that need the climate of their native country.

also, use bonsai fertilizer, no normal plant fertilizer.
