My cats like to follow me into the bathroom. Is that weird?
>> Anonymous
Dude, so do mine. It's like they know you're gonna be stuck there.
>> Anonymous
No, mine does too. She walks in and makes me open the cupboard under the sink. After that she'll sit and stare inside, go inside, or meow at me... then she'll leave when I do. I have no idea why she does it though.
>> Anonymous
Mine follows me sometimes. The worst part of this is that, if I'm sitting down, he makes himself cozy on my lap and happily purrs there. Though this is a nice way to relax when on the can, I suppose. Better than reading the back of shampoo bottles.

I have a cat and a kitten. The cat follows me into the bathroom and jumps on the sink or my lap depending on her mood.
The kitten will come in and go sit in the shower. Or she'll bat at the cat and pitifully mew at her bigger, older friend. Other times the kitten will just watch a few feet from the doorway.

No. My cat runs into the bathroom as soon as she hears the lid go up because she loves to drink from the toilet.

Perhaps they love the smell of shit.

My cat loves to come into the bathroom right after I have a shower. I think its because I take really hot showers and its always really steamy/humid afterwards. Other bathroom habits of my can include drinking from the toilet and sitting in the tub/shower after its just been used.
>> Crazy Cat Lady
may cats love to come into the bathroom. we just moved and this new place has a big gap under the door and it freaks out my roomie when he sees the paws coming from under the door.
patty cake likes to lick my legs when i get out of the shower, tanto and perseus will just stand there and stare, and my yoda cat(which my parents still have) used to try and jump into the bath w/ me.

cats are attracted to feces

My cat does that too, usually in the morning or late at night when I shower. She used to drink out of the toilet too, but she stopped after I bought her a fountain water dish. She seems to like drinking running water; she always drinks from the fountain, not the bowl.

My cat likes to do that too, I go to the bathroom, and he stands outside waiting for me to come out, he even does it when i'm in the shower

My cat cries If I don't let him into the bathroom with me. Most of the time he doesn't even want anything, he just doesn't like the idea of me being in there without him. He also does everything>>314451's cat does.

Only when you let it lick your ass when you're done shitting... did you let it lick your ass?
>> ????? !N8Yn.I/WbM
my bathroom door never really closes fully so anytime i'm in the bathroom my cat will push the door open and invade my privacy. but the second I flush she is out of there. gotta love cats.
>> Anonymous
My cat would camp outside and wait for us to flush, then she'd rush in to watch the water go down. Sometimes she'd just stare into the toilet.
>> Anonymous
No, I close and lock the bathroom door when I use the toilet or take a shower.
>> Anonymous
Fuck, my cat uses my toilet to shit.

I'll just be waiting outside the door waiting for her to get done so I can shit, shower, or piss. Bitch.

My cat follows me into the bathroom and poops in its litterbox while I poop in the toilet.

if its wierd? naaaah
>> Self Macro San !5vnVUh2snQ!!nQN
I've had my cat try to take swipes at my penis. I don't pull it out or go naked around it anymore.
>> Anonymous
My cats are obsessed with the toilet flushing. They don't try to drink from it or anything, they just stare into the bowl as it flushes. I'm not too concerned though; they do this with the printer too.
>> Anonymous
>>315441
how do you flush a printer?
>> Anonymous
My cat does the same thing, and cat's I've had before him.

Either all of them were weird, or your cat is normal.

If you think about in a two year old child perspective it's makes more sense.

"What are you doing in there? Let me in too!"
"What's that?"
"Where does it go?"
"Play with me!"
"Why are you pooping in there? Just dig a hole!"

>"Why are you pooping in there? Just dig a hole!"
I think that exact thing to myself every day.
>> Anonymous
My cats do this too. Cats are just naturally curious and the ones that get really bonded to you like to be where you are, AT ALL TIMES, sometimes.

My kitties love to drink out of the sink ,so if someone is in the bathroom they'll try to get into the bathroom with them or wait outside and quickly jump up onto the counter and look at the person with those big cute eyes.
That or lick the bathtub after a shower.

It seems kind of unfair. They love being with you when you take a dump, but when you look at them while they're shitting they get an awkward thousand-yard-stare look.
>> Anonymous
It's quite obvious to themselves they're taking a dump but they don't know about humans dumping nature.

Holy crap, EXACT same thing here. Like, verbatim.

And here I thought I was the only one who did that...

My cat won't come into the bathroom. Instead he waits outside, and as soon as I close the dor starts meowing and/or pawing underneath the door.

My dog doesnt come in the bathroom. My ferrets do though, if I don't let them in they claw at the carpet. And when I flush they like to prop themselves up to see it go town the toilet......

Mine wants to drink out of the sink. He reaches under the door and rattles it furiously if I don't let him in.

Leave your door open?

Only one of my cats follows me into the bathroom, and if I don't let him in he sits outside the door and furiously paws at it until I either let him in or walk out.

Whenever I take a shower he lounges outside the door and licks my legs when I get out. Whenever he needs a bath I just pull him into the shower with me and he loves it. Even when he's soaking wet he'll still rub against my legs and purr.
