I have a betta and today I noticed that its right gill seems a bit swollen. I just got it back the other day, haven't had it in weeks, and have noticed that it's been a bit sluggish. What should I do for it?

It's called Conditioning Salt, and can be found at Petsmart for about 1.99 for a small container that'll last you your entire life. :P

I had a betta, was fine one day, was heading out the door the next and the fish was GONE no sign of a carcass anywhere. Shelf is too high and small for cats. I figure she must've jumped out, landed on the floor, then got eaten by a cat or dog.
