Are there any animals besides humans that keep other animals as pets?
>> Anonymous
Probably not habitually, as few animals have the resources to devote to another animal that isn't their offspring, or one in which they've evolved a symbiotic relationship with. However, it's not unusual at all for animals to adopt offspring of another species as their own - which could possibly be interpreted as pet keeping behavior. (Think of people who replace having children with keeping pets.) But that's more often thought of as misplaced parental behavior.
