goats are tasty, loligoats (cabrito,pictured here in the rather creepy but traditional way to cook it)are the so called "typical dish" here in Monterrey, just make sure tat if you are eating grown ups , you let them soak in fresh water for a wile before cooking, goats tend to save water ans in doing this they acumulate salts and uric acid that makes the flesh bitter and tough, when possible stick to younglings and wash them throughly
