I have a problem with my cat. He keeps losing his hair on his stomach! It started with just a little bald spot, then it started growing bigger and bigger. It's gotten so bad that it's engulfed his stomach and 4 inchs up! My vet says to put some anti-deppresents on him but I keep forgetting. So I turn to you, is there any problem with a seven year old cat losing his hair? Is it natural? I had two cats put to sleep recently. Could he just miss his friends?

they make anti-depressants for cats?

Try changing his diet to something better, he could just be having a allergic reaction to his food, or maybe you should listen to your vet. Set an alarm on the time you need to put the medicine on him.

The past couple of days I've been putting it on him. He's squirming. I have to put it in his ear. He keeps running away.

I'll try changin his diet.

yeah, a lot of stuff sold as food to anything these days is severely unnatural and can cause crap like this. adding daily drugs can only add to the problem.

You have to give him an antidepressant in his EAR? WTF?
