>>253098 ... my 3 are AWESOME! i have 2 males (Dunkin and Gully) and a female(Brewster) the boys are best as pets there much calmer (after they hit about 8 months) My Dunkin goes EVERYWHERE w/ me (if i can bring him) and he mostly just chills in my hoody my female is a bit of a nipper but ive found females to be a bit more high strung (ive had 6 ferrets all together 2 of witch were female) only one of my males EVER bit. now on the smell... yes they have a smell to them... but if there kept clean (bedding, cage, litter boxes) they stay pretty stink free (stink meaning Ew stink they always have a smell as ive said) they are a bit of work.. they need AT LEAST 4 hours of out of cage time a day and if there given that when there IN there house they sleep really soundly they are also not cheap... i spend at least 50$$ at the pet store a month and im not even going into vet bills a year REALLY look into what ur getting into if u want a ferret... there amazing little animals if u know what to expect, and a burden and a half if u dont oh and also if u REALLY want one... look into getting a young adult from a ferret shelter that way they will be out of the CRAZY 24/7 baby stage AND u wont have to litter box train them and they will have all there manners i have the time for them... so they are the most amazing little animals ive ever had ... but u need the time or they become irritating neurotic little beasts
