If you raise then well they won't be hostile, but they will never be cuddly or anything.

Also, most of them die of Wobbly Hedgehog Syndrome because domestic ones are pretty much inbred to all hell. That's the real name for the disease, look it up.

If you put them in your hand when theyre rolled up very carefully, they won't penetrate your skin and give you aids.
>> Anonymous
You can touch them unless the relase there spikes
>> Anonymous
You can touch and pet hedgehogs without any problem. The spikes wiggle around on their skin. Just don't try to hit them or press down hard and you're fine.

...oh, and don't try to bite them...
>> Anonymous
They're not pointy enough to hurt you, wild or domestic.

If you keep your hand open the force of them shoving their spines at you is spread evenly, and it's just light poking.

That said, I've got tough hands. If you're a pansy (does picking up a cup of hot coffee hurt you?) it'd probably be too much to handle

Hedgehogs can't release their spines.

Drive across the fucking border and smuggle one in then.

Petting a hedgehog is like that trick where you sit down on a bed of nails. It doesn't actually hurt at all unless you do something stupid.
