So every year in San Francisco in the Union Square Macy's windows they do a display of different cats and dogs that are up for adoption. I'm usually ecstatic about this, because it's so cute. But I wonder if it's a good thing for the animals. This year they have them in little sno globe looking domes with weird ass shit in them that don't look comfy for them. Anyone else seen this? Got any better pics then I could get? (stupid flash)
You can see how this cat has been forced to sleep on some weird display... thing.
>>193087He looks pretty comfortable.
>>193088Yeah, I guess cats can sleep on anything.
Well on one hand, the cats are probably stressed from being surrounded by people for much of the day. On the other hand, there's a chance the cats will find a better perminant home. The decoration doesn't factor into it because cats can't perceive the concept of "tackiness".
>>193091It's just that some of the decorations seem a little dangerous or pointy. I guess I didn't get any good pictures of those. Maybe I'll go back tomarrow. And yes, there are SPCA guys there waiting to help people adopt them.
I've seen cats sleep on a pile of boots before. Cats sleep where ever, when ever, how ever they want, if it looks comfy to them, they'll sleep on it regardless if it looks uncomfy to you.
>>193116This person speaks truth. Granted they could have tried to make it more comfortable for the animals, but cats will often sleep in the dumbest most uncomfortable places by choice.
I went back and got moar pictures! Here's a dog they had in one.
Some of them had more comfortable beds then others.
