i have 3 otocinclus catfish. one has recently gotten extra chubby. does anyone know about breeding in captivity? such as, do they do it and how do i know its preggers and not just fat? pic related, although not mine.

Um, otos don't get pregnant. Pretty much only livebearers do.

anon, well, that isn't entirely correct. when a female fish is ready to spawn she sometimes plumps up up with eggs. so kinda sorta pregnant. pseudopregnant.
