Could these bites be bedbug bites? They look like mosquito bites but i havent been bitten lately as far as i know. They just show up out of the blue and itch for a few days, then calm down to a red dot about a quarter inch in diameter. I dont see any indication of bedbugs, but i dont know what else they may be.

I had those all over me for a while, my mom said that they are chiggers. They're little red spider things that like the bite the shit out of you, and they burrow in your skin. So yeah. Chiggers. Change your bedsheets often and don't wear clothes you've been outside in for very long once you're inside.
Hope that helps

This is why no one should listen to their mothers.
Get educated. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chigger Chiggers do not burrow into the skin. Ever.

OP here, I live in the northern part of Illinois if it helps any. I will also look into chiggers.

This is coming from someone educating themselves from wikipedia. Either way, it could be looked into.

Only because Wiki is the easiest and least time-consuming to pull up. Shall I perform the Google-fu for you, and find the same thing in several different forms? I've got an insect guide, but my scanner doesn't work. Shall I go buy another to show you the pretty pictures?

Just because Wiki sucks ass and loves edit drama doesn't mean it doesn't hold some correct information.

You should know by now that actual, intelligent, rational beings only take up 0.01% of 4chan.

do they swell up a lot and feel almost pressure sensitive?

if you push on them and they hurt, not like a ton just enough for you to notice, then they may be bed bug bites.

they also tend to come in 3's

(im currently living the nightmare)

OP here, is there any way to get rid of them without calling the exterminator? I have found two, one was about 4mm long, and the other was about 1mm long. There cant be a bunch of them or i would find more of them, right?
