Bearded Dragons are very easy to care for once they are about a year old. The small babies, the ones you'll find for cheap and at reptile conventions usually, tend to have a high mortality rate. But this is normal for most reptiles.
They are very approachable, tend to be a bit lazy, but fairly friendly. I don't remember off hand, but think they're mostly insectivores, where as an iguana would take veggies and such.
Reptiles aren't something you should jump right in with though. Do your research. They are better ornaments and decorations then actual pets.
