Seriously, fuck pandas. They deserve extinction.
>> Anonymous
Are we talking animals brought to extinction through human means or by natural means?

I assume human means, to which I will say: all of them...

What is the name of this animal? I'm really curious.

Death adder? What the fuck?

Why would you want that thing to live.
>> Anonymous
>>279193

Because they're a fascinating species with a unique hunting strategy occupying a vital role in ecology? Besides, they're only dangerous if you're stupid enough to step on one. It's the ones that move around a lot (tigers, taipans, browns, mulgas) that are the frightening ones.

is OP's picture a tuatara?

Yep, that's a tuatara all right.

They are recovering, albeit slowly.

Poecilotheria regalis, the Indian Ornamental tarantula will probably only remain alive in captivity before mid-century. A lot of tropical tarantula populations are being decimated and don't look like they'll recover. Captive specimens won't have anywhere to go back to either.
>> Anonymous
Same here, but we can continue their numbers in captivity.
>> Anonymous
>>278862
Black footed ferrets are making a recovery in the wild. I sincerely doubt they will go extinct, unless some sort of genetic disease crops up.

"I felt like putting a bullet between the eyes of every panda that wouldn't screw to save it's species"

On the other hand, I get an impression there is something psychic behind the Panda breeding problem. Like they don't want to repopulate because they are aware of it being pointless and cruel to bring more into a world of suffering and/or captivity. The pandas choose suicide as a response to what the Human 'stewards' do to the world. Ah whatever, fuck em all. Everything dies.

I think I saw them at the aquarium in Osaka???? Not sure since species names were written in Japanese and Latin only and I don't remember Latin names well. Picture looks similar though.
