Good evening /an/, let me introduce you guys to my Mantids, unfortunatly i lack a camera so i'll have to use pic's i've found off the net, this is my favourite that i've kept so far Idolomantis Diabolica a.k.a. Devils Flower Mantis, pic is an adult Male, the ones im keeping at the moment are alot smaller

these are my 2nd favourites, Gongylus Gongylodes a.k.a. Violin Mantis, again the pic is of an adult male and the ones im keeping are young

another big favourite of mine is these little guys Phyllocrania Paradoxa - Ghost Mantids, had plenty of these guys come and go and got them in all sizes at the moment, pic is an adult female, with a green morph to her, these guys are normally dark brown

only just got this species and the ones i have at the moment are tiny, under 1cm, looking forward to when they're adults though as they're going to get to a massive 12cm, they're called Pseudempusa Pinnapovis - Peacock Mantis pic is adult female

They sit around talking to themselves about how awesome they are.

These are stunning pics, amazing what the natural world will produce for the survival of a species. Mantids have always been a favorite of mine and these examples are absolutely gorgeous.
