ITT we post good quality, up to date pictures of Mesozoic reptiles, so no tail dragging and what not.
This illustration is pretty nice, except for 1 thing that's wrong. can you tell?

That's a tyranosaur, right? If so, then wouldn't the stegosaur and the pteranodon be out of place, since they lived during different time periods?
>> flange
no dinosaurs during mesozoic due to KT Boundary evernt that raped them into extinction

Animals drinking water downstream from an active volcano???

And still being alive?

Also: pic!

That one isn't dragging its tail or anything inaccurate like that...

Also, recent evidence suggests that Tyrannosaur was probably covered in feathers.

young T. rexes may have been, but there's still no evidence for the adults being fathered.

Yes that is a crocodile.

The T rex and the Pteranodon are correct, but the Stegosaurs are anachronistic.

I'm pretty sure every living thing is fathered.
Except clones.

What type of animals lose their feathers, or other such things, upon adulthood?

Birds do. The type of feathers they have as chicks are of a different variety than adults.

Damn, feathered dinosaures looks so wrong.
Also, what kind of "evidence" prove that rexes had feathers?
>> Demyx's Landmaster !!vjyCRKGc15d

They discovered an early tyrannosaurid in China, Dilong paradoxus, that had the filamentous downy feathers common to many dinosaurs there, including Velociraptor. From that the idea came that all tyrannosaurids had feathers, but the skin impressions found with some T. rex fossils show the pebbly skin typical of most dinosaurs. It's possible the young rexes had down of some kind, but lost it as they grew big enough to do without it.

FUCK YES AZDHARCHIDS YOU ARE THE CRAZIEST PTEROSAURS EVER!

>>258294
Not to mention that feathers seem to have been ubiquitous among theropod dinosaurs (which means most of them, or even all, may have had them)...

Suborder Dinosauria falls under the Class Sauropsida. Sauropsida is synonymous with Reptilia.
