Anyone else have a cat that ALWAYS lays on its back? My mothers cat never sleeps any other way. We've had about 15 cats over the years (Only 4 right now) and none of them ever did this. It is cute though.
I love cats on their backs. They have to be really trusting of you first though to expose their stomach.
>>132678I love cats on their backs too. Three of our cats let us touch their tummies.. but our newest one doesn't. She's very untrusting... We actually rescued her... Her owner had died and was dead for almost two weeks before anyone went to the house, and she survived with no food and water. So she's a bit nervous now. She's coming around though.
My parrot loves laying on his back too.. its not as cute as the cats of course.
>>132689actually i think your parrot is a lot cuter than any cat....
>>132707I want to grab those balls

>>132675mine lays on its back every once in awhile, but usually sleeps on its side
My cat rolls on her back to get people's attention. If you pet her she'll roll back too. It's so SUPA KAWAI
Yep. here's my cat showin some belly fur.
>>132675Disco cat?
How am I the only one that noticed the disturbing cords in OP's pic? Is the cat some kind of adapter?
>>133005Fukken lol'd
My cat is actually the opposite. She alway lays on her belly. And she HATES laying on her back
Cats have to be trusting, relaxed, and submissive to do it. Also, it seems to be common that it's something that fat cats do.My cat is always doing it. Pic related. It's him.
Actually, I've noticed that it's really only fat cats that do it. I think all their fat gives them better balance or something.
my fatty
I have a fat cat who does it occasionally, especially on hard surfaces.
>>132675This behavior is usually linked to breathing problems in cats, so it's often seen in overweight animals. If your cat isn't overweight, it may have some problem that is affecting its breathing.
>>133270Ahh, explains a lot. He sometimes snores :)He's really not THAT overweight but he's gettin old.
hello ladies...
>>132678hey thats my cat! lol
