what animals yawn?

mammals, birds....

Sometimes my ball python would open her mouth wide and shut it. And I don't mean when she's about to eat or finishes eating. Usually when she wakes up. Maybe her jaw unhinges in her sleep, or something.

I think any animal that needs an extra intake of oxygen to the brain once in a while yawns.

My leopard gecko has yawned in front of me a few times. I've seen videos of snakes yawning too. So... reptiles too.

i don't know much about ants, but spiders do that after they molt. they stretch all their appendages and stretch out their chelicerae (mouth parts with the fangs) which sort of resembles yawning.

it's more of getting everything situated/set in than to do with getting oxygen to the brain. in fact, oxygen doesn't get to the brain of a spider via their mouth.
