Thanks. I hope the Burmese gets big, it's a male so it will be much smaller but that's ok with me for a first time giant. He's 3 1/2 feet now.

it should get pretty damn big! i've never had any pythons or boas.. just corns and a king. one day, i'd love to own an Atheris of some sort...too bad there's no anti-venin! they are gorgeous snakes though..my favorite by far based on looks alone.

my snake seems to like iron maiden. :D

What do you mean, you hope? Dwarf burms are almost unheard of.

he means he hopes it gets big. i guess the males are noticeably smaller than the females. he isn't hoping for a dwarf.

um, its a burm. burms get big.. like almost 30 feet big.

Then the idiot that bought it at a petstore that told them if you keep it in a small tank it'll stay small bring a very large and very pissed snake in a very inadequate tank to my boyfriend to rehab.

If he wants a big snake, he should get a retic.

I'm the guy with the burmese. The record is around 27 feet for Burmese pythons. Males tend to average around 10 to 14 feet. I'm hoping for about 14 (upper end of size range).

That's what I mean by I hope. I didn't want a female and have a 20 foot 200 pound snake on my hands. But a larger than average male will be nice.

My cat Tojo. My dad named her that because he thought she was a guy... until she had kittens(which we kept).

One of her babies, which ended up being the prettiest out of the litter. I'm too lazy to post the other two but they are cute also.

My personal tankcat, Mickey. He lives with my mother (We've had him since I was in middle school. I've since grown up and moved out, but I chose to let Mick stay in the only home he's ever known)

Now before the flood of "omg you're a horrible pet owner for letting him get that fat" let me elaborate.

He was raised from a kitten with a beagle we adopted. Henry and Mickey were BFF. The long and short of it was that Henry was about 12 years older than Mickey, and when he passed away in 2000 Mickey took it HARD. Not unlike my mother, he found solace in food. And in general, two depressive fatties shouldn't be left alone together.

But why Tojo? That's like naming my axolotl 'Hitler'.

My axolotl. He didn't really have a proper name before, but now I'll call him Hitler.

I honestly have no idea. My dad wanted to name her something Asian, but I don't know why he chose to name her Tojo.

I wanted to name her Alexander, it would've been better. :(
