Is this normal behavior for a cat? Iron Man !4gwlqtupE.
The blonde cat on the left... she turned 1 back in March.

Well...
Ever since I got her, when she was only a few months old, she's had a little bear she carries around. Just a little teddy bear, maybe an 1 1/4 inch tall. She carries it around, she talks to it, she gives it baths..
And when I say talks to it, I mean non-stop. She makes the most adorable noises with this little bear.

Is that odd?
I've never had a cat like that before.

She's... quite the talkative cat even without the bear. If I say anything directed at her, she mews back. If she jumps, she mews. Whenever she first sees me or my boyfriend, she starts a series of almost barking noises while rubbing her forehead against our legs/hands for attention.

I... can't even tell what kind of cat she is. Just that she's sandy blonde, has yellow eyes, and six toes on each paw.

I've trained her to at least understand a few terms, but she's not really smart enough to learn too much.
The one on the right though... she's a criminal genius. She turns off lights, she unplugs consoles, she shuts off my computer...

Both of them have learned how to open doors, though. Round knob or lever-knob.

It's fun to try to have a conversation with Gobi (the blonde one), though. I say mew, she always mews back. I've almost gotten here to where if I mew twice, she mews twice.
I think she mimics me. Sometimes I'll see her sitting at my computer the way I do, staring at my monitor with her front paws infront of the keyboard and her back paws on my seat.

More pics of her? Better ones, preferably.

I've only got two, sadly. The other one is a few pages back.
Both were taken with a webcam that I can no longer fine.

Your cat is not blonde, she's orange (or ginger for the eurofags). She just happens to be a lighter shade. Stop calling her blonde.

Or don't, lol. I don't care.

It's not unusual to have a cat copy what they see you doing. The phrase "copy cat" comes to mind...

My cat's extremely nosey, and she'll try to include herself in almost anything that I'm doing. It's okay. It's normal. And it's even better when they mimic you. Let's me know she's paying attention and knows what the hell I mean when I say it's time to go out for the night.

She has her very own Pooky.

Dammit OP, you made me d'awww.

I'm not sure about her actions, but I seem to remember hearing at some point that cats with talkative owners tend to vocalize more.

6 toes and it communicates with other objects??? Must be a mutant cat...

Congrats! You have a polydactyl cat. We breed them. They are smart and have wonderful personality's.

OP that is so fucking adorable. I want to see a video of her talking to the bear. oh my god it's so cute just thinking about it. My little cat likes to just walk around and talk. she'll usually talk to me if I meow at her, she'll meow back

I doubt extra toes miraculously create a personality.

The extra digits... they do nothing!
