I brought my husky home for the winter break. she's two years and fully trained, usually goes a full 10 hours at home alone without peeing, but here at home she's pissing on the carpet at least four times a day. I walk her every few hours and sometimes she urinates, but as soon as we get in the house, she finds a new spot and soils it.

what's the deal here? is she trying to mark her territory? it's been almost two weeks and she won't stop, it's driving me nuts.

What kind of infection would make her piss indoors? I was just at the vet right before I came here for a full check up.

A good ol' fashioned urinary tract infection. Animals just like humans get a constant feeling of extreme urgency when they have one.

You need to wash the spots with an enzyme based cleaner to break down the scent molecules that keep her coming back. Most pet stores should carry such products as Nature's Miracle or Simple Solution. If that doesn't work than you may need to see the vet, but I doubt you'll need to.

I will try this, and visit the vet if it gets worse. Any tests I can do to see if she has an infection?

They now have tests that are made for humans, but could work....don't know. They sell them at drug stores near the pregnancy and other tests.
I like the pet stain cleaner by Bissell. You get it at the hardware store and it is a lot cheeper than the other stuff. Works great.

P.S. NO DOG SHOULD HAVE TO WAIT 10 HOURS TO PEE. DO YOU WAIT THAT LONG? NO!!! GET SOME PEE PADS FOR A CORNER OR WHEN SHE GETS OLD, YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!!
