I just got a new budgie.. (picture similar, but not him: no camera)
I want to give him an aboriginal name, but have found only one limited translator..

He's a light blue-grey with big eyes. He's pretty small for his age, but is really confident and curious and playful.

Suggestions..?

How can you not know the pronounciation of Our Kylie? At any rate, Aboriginal words are written in english letters phonetically, so it should work out.

Name it Biscuit.

That.. that isn't a half bad suggestion. There is already a parrot called Biscuit, and a budgie is a small parrot.. and a triscuit is kinda a small flat biscuit..

I will tolerate that name.

>a triscuit is kinda a small flat biscuit

Bollocks.

The word biscuit derives from the french for "twice cooked". Triscuit is not a real word.

Triscuit is a brand of little cracker-biscuit things. Also, teehee, you said bollocks.

And I'll say it again. Bollocks. There.

you just wish you thought of it

Triscuit was already used for a pet anyway (gerbil, to be precise). Plus it isn't aboriginal.
