hey /an/

my cat, ManCat, is about 8 years old. i don't think he feels very well because he's been really coughing and just looks lethargic. today he wont eat and it looks like he's losing weight.
could it just be a hairball? or is this something more serious?

i know most of you are going to say VET ASAP but the vet's closed. i am going to take him tomorrow.

my mom and her friend just rusehd him to the emergency vet. within 5 minutes after posting he got really, really bad.
i think he may have been poisoned somehow

a couple minutes after i posted he started drooling and panting and then he stopped breathing. my mother gave him CPR and rushed him to the vet.
the vet says he is very anemic and has a mass in his stomach- we will know more tomorrow. it may just be a hairball that he couldn't pass or it could be a tumor.

but what amazes me is that he is FINE right now. he is eating, drinking, and purring. after my mom gave him CPR he came to. the vet thinks he just passed out.

Doesn't really sound like hairball symptoms. Could still be lot's of things though. Good luck.
