>>292594 The Pixel Cat (felis pixilus) would be on the endangered species list if people were aware of how rare they truly are. Because of their small size and digital anatomy, scientists have long believed that they simply lived among other pixel creatures within digital photos, MS paint drawings and watermarks for places like deviant art. However, a recent scientific study has shown that most of those pixels are comprised of such low quality pixels that the Pixel cat and other Pixel creatures simply refuse to live there. With the ever increasing numbers of blurry cell-phone cam pics, outrageous and imposing watermarks, and poor oekaki drawings, the natural habitat for pixel creatures is shrinking daily. A few digital naturalists strongly believe that the Pixel Cat population will reach almost zero within the next decade is more is not done to protect them and their main food source, the Pixel Mouse, pictured here.
