They taste good too.

I saw this thing on octopusses (or octopa?) on a documentary once, it showed that an octopus could move through a construction which basically was two cube-shaped tanks connected by a tube. No matter the size of the octopus, if its beak (?) could fit through the tube it was able to move from one tank to the other. Weird thing seeing an octopus in cilindrical form.

Neither, the plural of octopus is octopi... i think

Many species of octopus are able to change not only the color of their skin, but the texture as well. Giving them the ultimate camouflage.
example : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckP8msIgMYE

Octopus are the most intelligent of all invertebrates.
They have been proven to have both short and long term memory. They have also been reported to practice observational learning, and can perform a task after they see a human, or other octopus, preform the task. Such as, unscrewing a jar.

Also, they can eat fucking sharks

there're three different and acceptable plurals; 'pusses, 'pi and poda (i think?), but the word "acceptable"... Wiki wax's trollish on it.

I was swimming once of florida, and three small cuttlefish (...?) were swimming past. For very good reasons, I'm going to say there was a Ma, Pa and babby cuttlefish. All three stopped in front of my brother and I, and the smallest swam over to us while Ma and Pa remained where they had stopped.

Babby cuttlefish literally just swims over, and has a curious look at each of our faces. Once he'd checked out both of us, seperately, he rejoins the parents and they go off on their merry mollusc way.

Weirdest thing ever...

(photo related: its a cuttlefish.)

If I were a superhero with one animal's natural abilities, I would have the abilities of a cuttlefish.
I could barely imagine the potential I could have with extremely adjustable skin texture and color, long foil-like fins along the sides of my legs, torpedo-like arms, and a super-dense beak. On top of that, I can remain as intelligent as I have been.

Fuck, I love octopi.

"Otto the octopus wreaks havoc

Otto is constantly craving for attention and always comes up with new stunts so we have realised we will have to keep more careful eye on him - and also perhaps give him a few more toys to play with.

“Once we saw him juggling the hermit crabs in his tank, another time he threw stones against the glass damaging it. And from time to time he completely re-arranges his tank to make it suit his own taste better - much to the distress of his fellow tank inhabitants.”
Staff believe that the octopus called Otto had been annoyed by the bright light shining into his aquarium and had discovered he could extinguish it by climbing onto the rim of his tank and squirting a jet of water in its direction. The short-circuit had baffled electricians as well as staff at the Sea Star Aquarium in Coburg, Germany, who decided to take shifts sleeping on the floor to find out what caused the mysterious blackouts."

Smart AND edible. mmmmmmmmm

Octopi are awesome, their extremtely smart animals, and a strike by one of their tentacles packs more strength than 20 grown men.

Squids are as well, you'd never figure such a seemingly harmless animal to be so aggressive when it hunts.
