greetings /an/I need to know the name of this.. thing in the pic. Got it from a really tall thick tree found somewhere around Central America. Some friend said it's called "poró", but all i could find under that name was Erythrina poeppigiana which has pretty much no resemblance.
Can you give us more info. What was the colour of the flower originally: the same or lighter? How many petals (I can't tell if there are 4 or 5 of them)? What kind of bark did the tree have?I wonder if this friend of yours meant Poro-poro?
>>245475oh man my grandma used to have this tree in her front yard, but I can't remember the name.
5 petals, and yes, a bit lighter and stronger colors.I'll probably go and take some more pics of the whole thing in a while, sorry I didn't have in mind that by the time I picked it up.anyway, thanks
Looks like a hibiscus of some sort.
Hi OP, it's the bloom from an African Tulip Tree, latin name Spathodea campanulata.
>>245737woh, you just made my day and saved my ass.thankyou!
why, are you being held in an internment camp and they are threatening to kill you if you cannot find the binomial nomenclature for a plant they give you...
>>245741somewhat close, just add donkey anal rape with sandpaper condoms and alcohol based lube.. lolNah, I'm having a similar task to this guy/gal>>244477But it takes about a few minutes before the tulip turns all dark and ugly so I need some more picture references.
