I saw this posted on /b/, what type of reptile or amphibian is this? I've never seen one before. By the appearance of its head it looks like it would like to spend a bit of time in wet sand?

Am I the only one who liked Chronicles of Riddick?

Anyway, this dissapoints me. I knew I'd seen one in a dinosaur book as a kid, but I was hoping it was like a coelecanth (or however it's spelled) and not extinct.
