However, giving good conditions they will reproduce. Now, I like snails so its not a problem, but some people hate them. Just in case if you face snail infestation and do not like it you can do following: 1. cut the food intake, do not let any fishfood to fall on the floor of the tank, remove dead leafs from the plants 2. gather snails by the hands, using snail traps, or a piece of vegetable - put it in the tank overnight, take it out in the morning covered in snails, repeat 3. get snail eating fish - loaches, some guramis, puffers (careful - puffers are bullies) 4. antisnail medications with copper, careful - if you have any shrimp it will kill them too 5. take apart tank and boil/soak in bleach everything in it
