Yeah, in Soviet Russia, the organs transplant you.

They did some really abhorrent mad scientist grade experiments besides this, including sewing two separated dog heads to a third body, and kept the resulting abomination alive for some time.

Goddamn this is old and very fake you dumbshits. Don't you know that when you remove a fucking head from a body it dies? And you can't revive it by pumping some blood back into it, what are you all 12?

Sorry but no. The experiments were real and well publicized. The film in question is believed by many to have been staged and contain falsehoods mainly for PR purposes. The severed dog heads only lived like this for some minutes, but they were functionally alive for a short time.

So they were real, but like most Soviet things during the time it was heavily bullshitted for GLORY OF MOTHER RUSSIA?

The wiki article seems to say that too, what with some things not matching up and some things that obviously didn't work in any kind of helpful way.

The point is, they did cut a dog's head off and revive it for a short while.

And heads have a habit of not dying right away, sometimes staying alive for almost as long. Also the Wiki article pointed out some unexplainable things that don't add up, like the collapsed veins.
