Last time I went to Walmart the bettas where in tiny plastic tupperware cups that looked warped, were barely half filled with water, and the water looked absolutely FILTHY. I mean completely disgusting. I could barely make out the fish in one of the cups. One was dead. I was going to bring this to the attention of whatever associate was in pets, but couldn't find anyone, so I asked someone in a nearby section and she was like, "Oh, Tim is working in pets. I'll call him." and then I heard them ask for him over the loudspeaker and nobody ever showed up. Lovely. So I just let the woman in the other section know, "Hey, well I just wanted to tell him that the betta fish need their water cleaned immediately. It looks like they're dying, and one is already dead from no care." And she just shrugged and said, "Okay, I'll tell him if he shows up today." FILLED ME WITH CONFIDENCE, I TELL YOU.
