Hellooo /an/ I live in Colorado, but my sister accidentally brought home a lizard from Texas. we've taken care of it and bought a tank and all the appropriate items. but now, an apparent she, just laid eggs! wtf do I do?

P.S. what kind of lizard is she anyway?

If those eggs are fertilized or that species of lizard can reproduce asexually, you may become responsible for a serious problem in Colorado.

Keep the lizard if you want, but flush the eggs down the toilet. She'll likely keep laying eggs for the rest of her life.

She looks like a skink to me, and as skinks are pretty common anywhere in the US, she shouldn't be responsible for causing a weird migration issue.

Anyhow, unless you want baby lizards, your best bet is to kill the eggs. If the babies hatch, you could try selling them to a pet store, but I can't guarantee that they'll take them.

Yeah, Texas lizard in Colorado = freeze to death, unless it's a hardy lizard, in which case they probably live in Colorado anyway.
