My kitten has a really stinky butt.
Is this normal, and if not, what should I do

I don't. I smell it whenever I'm close enough to pet the damn thing.

Does it stink more than an ass should?

It proabably just needs its anal glands expressed. There is really nothing as terrifying as a cat with infected anal glands. Being in the same room with one can seriously damage your sense of smell for months. I would describe it as "Abomination even Cthulhu is afraid of". The worst part? They scoot around and spread ass-puss everywhere. You have ass-puss in your house, Anon.

Take it to a vet. Supposedly its really simple and can be done at home by even a retard.. but you run the risk of being shot in the eye with cat ass-puss, and really, the only thing you can do after that is commit suicide.

They have glands that secret oil into their poop to mark their territory. In kittens the ducts from these glands to the pooper are really small and can become blocked and they back up all that stinky oil. Hence, the stinky ass that lingers on stuff. Take the cat to the vet and tell them you need the cat's anal glands expressed. If you have a vet you are already taking it to they should do it for just a few bucks, but if they haven't seen the cat before they will want to do a physical before which will run 40-50 bones plus the expression. Most cats grow out of it eventually.
