Hey guys. Since /r/ buries anything non-porn-related under porn (though I tried anyway... got buried under porn) I have a request.

Anyone have that convincing but fake picture of a scientist, in front of the ocean, holding a CG-animated Eurypterid (sea scorpion)? Pic related.

I think what you're talking about might have been from one of those BBC shows. try checking there.

As do I. They guy who mentioned BBC was right, it is from some special thing they did.
But sweet jesus, that'd be sweet as hell.

That'll do nicely... thanks a lot. Though I remember another higher-res one with the guy facing it towards the camera. Now that I know where its from I can probably track it down, but anyone who has it I'd appreciate it.

First thing I tried. Your Google Fu is clearly superior.

looks like Nigel Marvin from his series "Prehistoric Park" on Animal Planet ... at first glance it seems like a cheap Jurassic Park ripoff, but really it's a creative and entertaining way to educate about dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures.

All I tried was "sea scorpion" - maybe you just didn't notice it. First page, but it was the only instance of the image that i saw for a number of pages. I think i went to about 7 trying to find a better one.

It's called "Sea Monsters". I'm not sure if it's an episode of prehistoric park or a spinoff. I'd be inclined to say episode.
