Ok /an/, it's question time. Sagebomb this if you deem it stupid. My friends and I evacuated for Gustav, so we're tight on cash. One of my friends brought her cat, but it looks like she may have a urinary tract infection. I know cranberry pills are helpful with humans, but do you think it can help cats too? Thanks for any help. She's really upset for her cat.
> cranberry pills might have some beneficial effectsFixed.Take that cat to a vet and give it real medicine instead.
Gods, if you've ever had a serious urinary tract infection yourself, you wouldn't consider cranberry stuff as 'helpful'.Vet plz + antibiotics.
Cranberry is good for preventing urinary tract infections and helps get rid of existing infections when taken with actual medication. It isn't an effective treatment in itself.
>>301004>>301002Just as I thought. I only suggested it because she was thinking about it, but didn't know if she should because humans =/= cats. They're going to a vet right now, so thanks for the replies.
