Went for a hike in my backyard today. This is pretty much the first time I took pictures, so don't expect some amazing photography skills.Abandon mineshaft. Its flooded, so I can't explore it :(
Very steep drop beyond that. Sorry, didn't get a picture of it.
I'm usually cooped up in the house, so it felt pretty awesome going out. Along with growing up in the suburbs as a kid, I just never realized how "green" nature is. Its pretty awesome.
woah! amazing! how much land do you have? and.. where d'you live?
Some people were camping in this area last week, which is all fine and dandy. I'd love to do it myself one of these days.I just wish they didn't leave their trash behind. Its a fucking pain when a beautiful view is upset because some ass left his beer cans and women's pantie (which was hanging from a tree for some reason) behind.
>>102532Not our land sadly. This is mostly from behind our backyard. Some developer owns it right now. Planning on putting up some riverside condominium which will be a pity if they did. The neighborhood I'm in is trying to block it, but i doubt they will succeed.
>>102534To give a better view of where this ishttp://maps.google.com/maps?um=1&tab=wl&client=firefox-a&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&q=Point%20Marion%20PAPoint Marion PA, its right on the boarder of West Virginia and Pennsylvania. The blue marker is where the house is (old maps, so they haven't updated with the recently built house). I was walking a bit north of it to the river.
Found this fellow next to the river. Almost didn't see him until I saw some rustling in the grass.
Came out a bit blurry, sorry.
I like how this one came out. Probably one of the better pictures out of the bunch.
Last picture of the river, I think its the Monongahela river, not 100% sure though.
Also found this fellow on the way back home. Can't stand these type of bugs. If it has more then 4 legs, it creepy me out.
Not quite sure what this building is suppose to be. It was filled with trash.
A bit hard to see, but there's a stand in the trees. Probably an old deer stand for hunters. Ton of deers out here.Well, thats the last picture. Hope you like them.
>>102525Search for a switch in the surrounding bush. Step on it, and it should drain the the mineshaft so you can enter. You still need the flippers though, as some parts of the dungeon are still flooded.
>>102553hahaha win
>>102553epic win
>>102545oh god, you live in one of those areas, KILL IT WITH FIRE>>102553lolnice area you live in, i've go exploring more, with other ppl, how knows what will pop-up or if you discover a dead body in that house
