Am I a serial killer /an/?

I know this is animals and nature, but does anyone here really hate animals? Like despise everything about them.

This isn't to say that I starve, beat or kill them or anything, but merely that I hate them. In the same way that someone dislikes people, I don't want them near me, I laugh at and belittle dogs and cats whenever they're around me, I refuse to call them by their names and won't help them out when they have fucked up on their own.

I can find an animal cute, looking at all the Welsh Corgis and Santa in one of the other threads made me smile, but the moment that I lived with those dogs would be the moment that I wanted to blow my brains out being around them.

Why do I hate animals so much /an/?

I wish I was trolling.

I generally think animals are awesome, so long as they're nowhere near me. I hate pets, and wild animals when they are in my vicinity.

Take it to a shrink.

Seconded. We don't care the least that you were attacked by a dog when you were 4 and it 'almost killed you'.

I mostly hate animals too. Especially dogs. Dogs the most. Any animal that comes and stares at you when you try to eat, as a matter of it's nature, is a bad fucking animal.

I have a hilarious story for you guise. Once upon a time i lived with a german shephard. Now this german shephard was special, because she had a thyroid problem, that made he so fat that she literally blocked doorways, hallways, and spaces between the furniture with her disgusting bulk. What an annoying piece of shit. The dog was miserable, just lying there all day, disgusting and depressed, and blocking whatever fucking doorway she felt like blocking that day. So one day I crept over to her in the middle of the night, with not one, but TWO plastic bags, and taped them over her head. Oh it was HILARIOUS! She was gasping and choking and sputtering, and walking around banging her head into cabinets as she slowly, mercifully, finally died. Sadly, she managed to punch a small hole in the bag with her nail, and got a little bit of air, and i just didnt have the heart to tape a new one over and suffocate her all over again, despite the hilarity I had witnessed. In the end she got to live, another day. Until the day comes when I creep out to her again in the middle of the night, of course.
And they all lived happily ever after, except for the disgusting dog who surely wont live too much longer after this posting.

Who knew people who liked animals hated /k/. I guess because of the hunting? Grow up.

Anyway, if you haven't torture the animals, I'd say no, but I think you're one of those people that could get arrested in states with good Samaritan laws, and could crash your car if you witnessed a car wreck because you stopped to gawk.

Personally, I've never been able to be cruel to animals. Too many good experiences with them, I suppose. I just wanted to pet and play with them and feed them.

I did know a couple kids who tortured animals though. I remember going to the pond with a group of kids at one point, and they thought it would be fun to break open duck eggs, and poke the fetuses, then fling them into the river. Seeing it disturbed me, and I could never hang out with those kids again.

I also had a friend who liked to flip turtles onto their back, and leave them in the road. I'd often find them like that, and have to pick them up and take them back to the pond area. He also liked scooping fish out of the pond and poking their eyes out and burning them. We got into a lot of fights over stuff like that.

Seeing as he was a skinny, whimpy blonde white kid with glasses who if pushed into a fight would scratch with his nails, I think there's a good chance *he* did become a serial killer.

Actually I don't hate /k/, I own a gun for the occasional white tail hunting trip. It's just that they take everything so seriously, and it can be a laugh (not to mention easy) to troll them on the simplest things. They're very gullible.

I agree with everything else you said though. The guy who posted that horrible image, in all likelihood was probably trolling, and probably has only killed flies. If he wasn't, however then he has issues. It is very possible, and sometimes it's people you don't expect (I mean hell, either zippocat or shoecat was killed by a fucked up asian woman)

OP, that's an interesting problem. I've known plenty of people with strong instinctual dislike for /certain/ animals, but never for /all/ animals. What is it about them that you find distasteful (or does it differ)?
