Wait. Wait... what the fuck is this? This has to be shooped.

Holy shit. I can believe as far as the falcon(?) abandoning a catch this size only because it's too large to easily kill... but what the fuck is this?

Isn't a bird's neck slightly thicker than what we're seeing?

It looks so real, though. This is insane. Also, proof of no god.

How would blood circulation work after having most of the flesh ripped off your neck?

I used to have a neighbor who had a flock of pidgeons that would fly around the property in a big circle from his barn and back. Sometimes hawks would grab these pidgeons and eat them up in the big trees around our house. There were always piles of bloody feathers lying around, and once in a while a half eaten pidgeon would drop out of the tree as I was walking by and I would see or hear the hawk flying off.

Indeed I have. It doesn't look like this. The bird I pictured is featherless, and although it's not a gull, this is about the right proportion for a bird's neck relative to it's body.

The maimed gull has literally been stripped to the bone, which is really fucking with me, and making me call a shoop. How is it able to stand for even a second?

That said,>>190395poster's pixel argument doesn't seem too strong as you can find the same pixelation all around the bird's head. Still, there's some good shoop out there.

Ever twisted a chicken's head off? It runs in circles. Perhaps a similar principle is operating here?
>> Anonymous
>>190453
It would be able to stand if it's spinal cord was still intact. I don't think it would be able to keep its head upright without neck muscles though.
>> Anonymous
>>190453

Chickens were bred for meat. They're bulkier and chunkier than a natural flying bird, that's why their necks are so much thicker. And that seagull's head is still feathered, which makes it look a lot bigger than it really is.

Someone should have shot that gull to put it out of it's misery.

This is either bullshit, or an amazing shot a bird the second before it falls over dead.

Come on, I worked at the Monterey Bay aquarium for two years, and I've seen a fair number of gull rescues during that time. I can absolutely guarantee you that a de-feathered gull's neck is not pencil-thin. The bones alone account for what we're seeing in the picture.

Pictured is a seagull skeleton.
>> Anonymous
ITT people think they're doctors who know what they're talking about. Including myself. It's possible for something to survive without their skin for a short while. Of course shock sets in pretty quick and you are bleeding pretty bad. This seagull wouldn't have survived for much longer than these pics were taken.
>> Anonymous
Can we not argue and just drool over how cool a concept this is?
I really don't give a damn if its shopped or how large a seagulls neck is or how long ect, but ZOMBIE SEAGULL
