Meet Denali. No, I didn't name him, I just picked him up from the shelter and he was already named. Ridiculous fucking name.

Anyway, what do you guys feed your dogs? They gave me a bag of Pedigree adult, the food they've been feeding him. Not only do I want him to eat something better, but it seems to give him terrible gas. He won't stop fucking farting. So, what kinda food would be better and remedy this as well?

My dog used to eat pheasants. So I'd say pheasants.

just rename him

take him to lavender town to see the old man

failing that just don't use his retarded name, and reward him when he responds to whatever you want his name to be. he'll get it eventually

Also, don't give your dog too many scraps, or too much 'people food'.

Their digestive system can't take too many different foods like we can, so when you give them too many different things, their bacteria in their intestines go a bit haywire, and hence, all the smelly farts.

By the way, most animals don't have such a tightly closed sphincter as humans do, so you never hear it unfortunately.

Actually... he can be quite vocal with it. Not too loud, but you can hear it brraap a lil bit.

I've also heard that if their bowls are on the floor, that can cause a bit of a problem, and that you should use those things that elevate them a little bit. Any truth to this?

yeah, its easier for them to eat slightly elevated, if they are large dogs. its easier on their neck in the long run.

True. My dog started to cough and hack when he ate from the floor, so we put his bowls on a footstool. It's about up to his "elbows" in height, but he hasn't had any more coughing fits whiel eating since

haha. I had an adopted dog named Henry. We were goign to change his name, but the odd name ended up fitting him pretty well.

Just liek to say it's awesome you adopted a dog, instead of going out to find some purebread puppy. What is he? Looks liek a boxer and something else.

Actually, he's a fullbred boxer. With a big head. The pictures give his face an odd look for some reason.
