Hello, /an/.It's a cat question.My year-old cat has recently developed a bald-ish spot on her back. It's not totally bald, the fur is just really short, but not like it was cut evenly. Her fur is kinda long naturally, so if it's not pushed around the right way, you can't even see the spot. The spot doesn't seem irritated, and she's not scratching it. I haven't changed her food or anything recently. She has a vet appointment to check it out, but that's not for a few days yet. So, in the meantime, what is wrong with my cat?In return, I give you a wholly unrelated isopod.

Do you do any sort of topical flea treatments (Frontline/Advantage)? Sometimes those cause fur loss.
ringworm, maybe. Get some Athlete's foot creme and put it on there.
