Persians?

The pushface Persians are horrible deformed abominations that should all be neutered and allowed to go extinct within a generation. Also, breeding for deformations should be outlawed.

Dollface Persians on the other hand are fine. Pic related.

OP here. That cat looks like one of mine. However, her sister (from the same litter) has more of a pushed in face.

I didn't buy them for their looks, but because I had a cat who passed away. These guys needed a home, and I didn't want them to be separated. They were the last in the litter and they were only kittens. I would never let them breed, I love them too much.

They have the most affectionate personalities. I'm away at school and I miss them so much.

pushfaces have all sorts of nasal problems. plus, it's weird to watch them meow.

In the worst cases they can't even eat without help. And that is fucking sick.

She caught a bug once and ate it. You could see the whole process.

I agree, they shouldn't be bred to look so extreme. This is what she looks like. I'm lucky to have a healthy one, although sometimes if I am in bed she will try to rub noses with me and only then can I hear her breathe.

It's horrible that many of them suffer the way they do.

lulz @ the thought of leonidas being defeated by the persians

All the flat faced cats I've ever seen have been ill-tempered. My cat is a long haired stray, but has a normal looking face, which I hear is becoming more popular now.

I love cats. ALL KINDS OF CATS. Not Persians. Persians are ugly and have breathing problems. I don't want a cat that suffers to breathe, snuffling their entire lives, looking like someone kicked it in the face.

I would never breed for a pushface persian, nor do I think it should be done - but they seem to be the same in temperment as other cats. If one was at the pound while I was looking for a pet and we clicked, I'd get it... but I would never buy one from a breeder.

Perrsians suck. Theyre ugly, inbred, and they leave hair everywhere

I used to know a persian breeder. That lady was a psycho bitch. I found out that she ended up having to kill like half of them for various birth defects and she'd let her psychopath son bash the kittens over the head to kill them or throw them at the ground and stuff. Then sell those without any obvious problems for like 800 bucks.... I hated that woman.

I always thought so. She managed to make me dislike Persians for some reason. I don't know why it made me dislike the cats themselves but now people who like Persians piss me off and their cats do too. Stupid Persians...

No really, there are laws against that kind of stuff. The anon wasn't just saying that as a hypothetical situation.

Persians are terrible.... all of their 'Persian'y attributes are negative things for the poor kitties. Just let it have a normal face so it can breathe! Also, they're so inbred now that things like that crazy breeder that anon mentioned happen. Things like that happen when you're trying to get the flattest face you can and the goofy legs and stuff
