A is for Acomys cahirinus, easy!
You fail at your A, B, C's. Go back to kindergarten.
But I won't guess the rest. It's 1:26 AM!!!!!
>>199301Good job.
>>199305Thank you. I grew up in a biologists house, so I used to luv such animals. Now we have 5 cats, a giant dog, two turtles and an extremely fat albino rat. Oh, and a big Theraphosidae spider (how ya' call those in English???)
>>199312/r/ of your extremely fat rat. Preferably doing fun stuff or being ultra cute.
h - harbor porpoise
I- IbisR- Ribbon sealS- Springbok
y - yellow-bellied flycatcher
v - vaquita
f - flat-headed cat??
A - Acomys? A genus of spiny mice..I want to know what M, N, O and K are..
g - gerbil
b - buteo
p = prevost squirrel
z - zebra duiker
>>199335I've been wondering that one for awhile now, but I think you're right
>>199337But gerbils arent obscure. There must be some kind of catch.
>>199344yeah, it reminds me of fishing cat. LOL
x - Xanthus hummingbird
u - ultramarine lorikeet
Hey uh you guys know that a furry did this chart, right?http://us.vclart.net/vcl/Artists/Roz-Gibson/
>>199354Of course Bitter would know this.
>>199354OH GOD NO, FURRIES ON 4CHAN? UNHEARD OF
B = Brown Thrasher?L = Lark?S = Stantler [I couldn't resist].
J = japanese martenL = long-trained nightjar (Macropsalis creagra)
>>199365I know because I tried to cheat, alright? I googled it and and found it and then vomited.>>199366I dont know if you know this or not but we generally hate furries here. I thought perhaps anon would like to know that he was studying something that was created by someone who faps to dog dicks.
>>199372K = Kalij Pheasant
>>199372>>199378E = emperor bird of paradise
>>199376Many a post ago, we had a bit of an exchange about furries. If I recall, you were enlightened to the fact most furries don't fap to dog dicks. But then the thread was saged in to oblivion. Tear, tear.Anyway, a good 90% of FurAffinity lurks. It's rather strange. Most of us yell YIFF IN HELL FURFAGS too.Off-topic sage.
>>199332s isn't springbok, springboks have a curl to their horns.
>>199376Yeah, Bitter. Just keep telling yourself that.
>>199390You must be thinking of some other triptroll, because I really don't remember that. I already know most furries don't fap to dogdicks. They fap to "anthropomorphic people"'s dicks. When you "yell YIFF IN HELL FURFAGS"etc, is that like a republican bashing on gays? Like, the lady doth protest too much?
>>199395In my case, it's because they usually post furry porn, and more than half the time furry porn is fucking gross and full of cottage cheese.
>>199337>>199345Definitely not a gerbil. Observe the tail. I do believe that is a grass mouse. Also, A is an African spiny mouse. They make wonderful pets. I used to own a few.
>>199406could be a grasshoppper mouse, inch for inch one of the most vicious fucking things on the planet
I only got Ibis and Harbor Porpoise :/
>>199335correct
>>199411It could indeed be. Unfortunately, barring any obvious unusual characteristics like the spikey fur in the spiny mice, pretty much all the damn small brown mice look alike to me.
is u a princes parrot?
>>199452Does "princes parrot" start with U, dumbfuck?
>>199452lol someone missed the point of this game
>>199351beat me to it.They are pretty.
Roz Gibson is a fucking furry, liek, a huge fucking furry that draws furry rape comics for a living.
It doesn't matter how much of a furry the artist is, this picture is not furry.C looks like a guinea pig, but Guinea Pig doesn't start with C. Its scientific name does, but even scientists call them guinea pigs.
>>199545God, you fucking idiot. The whole fucking poster is by scientific name. That is the "joke."
P is meant to be a pine martin I thinkHowever that is not really that obsqure if you live in the UK as it is a quite well known but rare animal that has been making a comeback thanks to conservation projects.
C is definitely not a guinea pig.
C is a Cape mole rat.D is De Brazza's monkeyP might be a Pale giant squirrel, but I'm not sure.
>>199332isn't it a ring seal?Q - quail?
>>199550no, it's not, and you're the idiot.
>>199341i'm pretty sure that's correct.

t looks like it might be a jay, but none of these- http://www.camacdonald.com/birding/Sampler6_Crows(CrowsJaysMagpiesTreepies).htmlook quite right
>>199698on second thought i think it's gotta be the tufted jayhttp://www.camacdonald.com/birding/TuftedJay(JO).jpg
ok i think i got it, though i'm still not sure on a couple. please offer any opinions you may have about the choices i've made.a- african spiny mouseb- barbary falcon (or perhaps brown or bat falcon)c- cape mole ratd- de brazza's guenone- emperor bird of paradisef- flat-headed catg- grasshopper mouse?h- hourglass dolphini- ibisbillj- jackson's mongoosek- kalij pheasantl- lyre-tailed nightjarm- moonratn- new zealand lesser short-tailed bat?o- otter civetp- prevost's squirrelq- quebracho crested-tinamou?r- ribbon seals- sunit- tufted jayu- ultramarine lorikeetv- vaquitaw- white woodpeckerx- xantus's hummingbirdy- yellow-throated warblerz- zebra duiker
is J a Japanese marten or Jackson's mongoose? The yellow colour fits Japanese marten perfectly, but from the only very low quality photo of Jackson's mongoose I've found, and the descriptions I've read, that species has a brown or gray fur with yellow only on the throat and neck.
n is definitely not new zealand lesser short-tailed bat. the one in the picture is naked, i remember them from borneo. might be naked free-tail bat or something.
>>199815now that i see the marten, i think you're right.>>199820you could be right as well. there are so many bat species, and so few pictures of most of them. if you find any good references, please post them.
>>199820It's a Naked Bat (Cheiromeles torquatus). Naked bats do indeed belong to free-tailed bats, but it's not part of the species name.
>>199879sounds good. any thoughts on q? i'm pretty sure the one i put is wrong, but i couldn't fing anything else that would work.
>>200071looks like some kind of rail or crake or quail.
heh, I'll try.C= cavyG= gerbil?I= ibisL= lyerbirdm= mongooseQ= quailw= woodpecker
>>200116Wow, way to go Faily McFailson.
>>200116yes, it was so obvious all this time. the word "obscure" in the title of this drawing was just to throw us off the track of animals such as the gerbil and the woodpecker. you're aces.
>>200146meh, atleast I (think) i got the lyrebird correct. The only starnge bird starting with the letter L i can think of.
>>200261THIS is a lyrebird you retard! When you fail this hard, at least have the common sense to own up.
>>200266and..? I may be wrong, so what. But a "long-trained" nightjar doesn't look anything like the picture either. Why, /an/ do you take everything so fucking seriously like its a life-or death situation.
>>200268/an/onymous does not forgive. Lurk moar.
n - nigger
>>200268observe the whisker-like feathers around the mouth of the L bird, and the wideness of the mouth (the better to suck goats with, my dear). these are common characteristics of nightjars. now look up lyre-tailed nightjar. it could also be the long-trained, but i couldn't find any good pictures of that.the only one i'm still in doubt about is q. it isn't built at all like a quail, but beyond that i'm a bit stumped. the quebracho crested-tinamou has potential, but i can't find enough good pictures of it to prove or disprove it.
>>200343A button quail maybe? But it starts with B... but it still is a quail.eh, cant be it then.
