Dear /an/,

This is my cat Blackjack, he died today, at 15 years old.

I'm sad.

He was a beutiful black Nebelung, extremely intelligent, wise, affectionate, all the good stuff, a very contemplative cat. All he ever wanted in life was to sit in my lap and purr while i played videogames, or just watch me while i did stuff.

He was in perfect health, never got sick a day in his life. I found him dead underneath a quilt rack, laying in his favorite position.

=(

He was lucky enough to go peacefully. Sorry for your loss.

We lost one of our two Siamese last spring. He was a great cat too, very affectionate and loved it when you read to him.

Sorry for your loss, losing animals sucks.

So how are you going to prepare his corpse? Some kind of stew or maybe jerked?
>> Anonymous
put his corpse in a freezer until you can stuff him
>> Anonymous
taxidermy and install a fleshlight port.

sorry for your loss

Sad to hear that your pusscat has passed on, but please don't cremate him and put his ashes into an urn and place it by your TV/computer/shelf etc... my auntie has placed her pugs into a purple urn and set it by the TV. It's creepy.

Maybe if you hadn't jerked it all day in front of your cat, he wouldn't have an heroed.

I'm sorry about your cat. Losing a pet is one of the hardest things we go through.

15 is a ripe old age for a cat and it sounds like he was one of the more fortunate cats on this Earth.

You're fortunate to have had your cat for so long, and so peacefully. At least he didn't go though any debilitating diseases or accidents that where he'd have to be euthanized.

And you're also lucky to have had a cat that had a good personality.

Sorry to her about him Anon, he sounded like a good friend..and I'm sure you were to him too.

Sorry for your lost.

One cat down, a billion more to be chopped up and served in restaurants.

I feel for you buddy. My cat was 17 when he had to go. It was really painful to take him to the vet. He was just too weak to go on.

I cant figure out if i should bury him in the backyard of this rental home, or go out in the forest somewhere to bury him...

He's outside wrapped in a t-shirt in a box, the freezing temperature is preserving him until i figure out what to do. (ground is frozen)

I dunno if he would want to be buried close to me...gah im so confused.

pls halp /an/

Should i bury him out in the woods or close to me? (i wont be living here much longer)

Eat him so he can be inside you forever

All of my cats were buried in our family's backyard, but my parents have been living here since the mid seventies. I'd say bury him somewhere nice in the forest, where you could visit him later on if you so choose. Remember to cover the grave with large heavy rocks though, otherwise you might come back a couple of days later to a hole and parts of the cat dug up by local scavengers :/

Did he drop any good loot?

Most vets can refer you to cremation services (or offer transportation themselves) if you're wanting to keep him around you until you find a suitable burial ground. Or get him taxidermied. It's a little less gross to most people to bring ashes rather than a full-on corpse, though.

Sorry for your loss.

That cat is awesome. He looks like Wolverine if Wolverine was a cat.

2 copper.

I'd recommend skinning the fucker and wearing the skin as a hat.

Cremation. Or the forest, because that's a epic place for a cat.

That was a lovely cat. It lived a good life though, and Nebelungs are fucking gorgeous (didn't know they came in black though..)

Anyway: Cremation is the way to go. Specifically.. VIKING FUNERAL. Put him in a box, add a sail, toss some lighter fluid on there, and then send him off to eat the rats in Valhalla.

For extra creepiness, turn his ashes into body paint and hunt down anyone who was mean to him.

Pour bleach on the pet's box/bag itself and then again over the dirt once he or she is buried. Keeps scavengers away.

And fucks up the environment. Or, I could put some heavy rocks on the grave and achieve the same effect.

Just don't bury him at that old Indian cemetary, or you'll shit bricks...
