Anyone been affected by this pet food recall?

Our cat stopped eating and started acting strange, so we took her to the vet. They determined that her kidneys were failing, and there wasn't much they could do, so we had her put to sleep. I assumed it was from old age (she was nearly 14). But then this stray cat we had been taking care of for a year began acting the same way, and sure enough his kidneys failed and he's gone too(he was about 2). We heard about this and our food pouch serials match.

Luckily none of the pet foods on the master list are ones we buy or ever have.

They are grossly understating the amount of animals that have died from this. I think "officially" something like ten animals have died. The real number is probably in the hundreds maybe even more than that.

One woman has actually died as well, attempting to trick her pet into eating.
