Help with a puppy who is biting Anonymous
Aside from noraml chewing and puppy stuff, he will bite (mostly playful)any male who gets there hands near his head. He does it sometime with me, but never with females. My vet told me to start putting my hands near his mouth so he gets used to human contact. But when he interacts with males he bites feet and hands, even though it is playful I want to break him of this habit as soon as possible. Any suggestions. Pic Related here is my puppy. Barkley is 10 weeks (7 in the picture) and is spring spaniel/ red heeler

Let him, he is so damn adorable that he can get away with it. I don't know too much about dogs but I do know that when you go to approach him, don't have your hand raised, try to keep it low so he can see it and pat him under the mouth first.

Pull his teeth out

I think more than anything it would just be a bit of puppy-playful-ness. He should grow out of it, I know my puppy would do similar things. If you want to try and stop him, just give him a soft smack near the nose or nip him near on the neck and speak with a stern voice. Try not to overdo it though, you want to sound dominant, not mean. Barkley should probably pick up on it over time and eventually should stop altogether. Watch him if he does it to other people though because it should be up to you to discipline him if it happens, he may feel a bit odd about a stranger telling him not to do something.

Yalls retarded. Bitch teething. Just give him some toy and shit and he'll be fine.

He'll be fine. My dog used to do that too, and she grew out of it. Just make sure he doesn't bite too hard - if he ever does, you can easily let him know he's being too rough (lol, like he could be, at that size) by yelping like a puppy in pain and he'll get the message and stop (and he'll also be able to recognize the reaction in other dogs he plays with).
And as another person said, you might want to buy him a chew toy. He's probably teething or something, so you can't just stop him from biting anything.

A 10 week old spaniel puppy biting? How unusual! OP, you'll have to take drastic measures. Start by surgically removing most of his mouth.

He's playing dominance games with the men. The best way is to get the men to ignore the puppy at least during this stage, so the puppy knows even trying for a game of dominance won't work.

Bite him right back until he cries.
