I posted a while ago about aphids and flies in my garden. My Chinese mantis oothecas arrived yesterday, unfortunately, one of them hatched in the mail...imagine my horror opening the box and having all these bodies fall out...ugh. Anyway, I did manage to save two of them and I'm planning on keep them as pets. What I'm really concerned about, though, is humidity. My house is almost always at 75-80 degrees, but I live in a really dry environment, (like 8-20%). How many times a day should I be spritzing the sides of the tanks? I did when I first got them yesterday and this morning, both seemed interested in drinking. I'm just worried about how much is too much or too little, especially when they start wanting to molt...Pic related, that's them.
get a container for it (they like to hang upside down....at least all of the mantises i had liked it). put a thick stick it can climb on and a paper towel on the bottom. keep it wet but not drenched in water. get a spray bottle to spray it when it dries out...you can also spray the mantis lightly with it and theyll drink the water on their body...do it like every other day.

>>236224Ahah, yes, of course. They're in separate tanks, I promise. Thank you though, very helpful!
