My options seem to be rerelease it to the wild or feed it to my python who actually does need to eat.

Lizard is tiny-small, it's body being about an inch and a half from nose to base of tail. Python is a little over a foot and a half. How would that work out?

It's a skink. Dump it outside.
>> buttwheat
looks like a young blue tail skink

Let it out, it's not poisionous and completely harmless.

Doesn't look like a skink too me, the head seems too pronounced. Not sure though...

I found one of those outside of my house too. It died in my hands, apparently it had been squished by a box.

It crapped on me right as it died.

Little bastard.

It' a baby alligator lizard. You should keep it. They make great pets, and they have lots of personality. You shouldn't feed your python wild caught reptiles. They can easily give it a disease or parasite that it's immune system can't handle.
