I live in a small suburb in Eastern Texas that doesn't have many insects. But, a few minutes ago, while I was mowing my lawn, it began to rain. Wind was blowing pretty hard all of a suden, and I went to go inside. But on my way in, out of nowhere, a big, huge, swarm of bugs blew overhead. And, I mean, it was huge! Probably over four hundred bugs, all of them dragonflies, randomly blew about ten feet over my head. After the huge swarm went by, a steady stream of dragonflys continued to follow for a couple minutes, but there weren't as many this time.Like I said, my area is by no means full of dragonflies, which makes this especially odd. Also, as a side note, the dragonflies were heading North. So, I want to know, has this ever happened to anyone else? If so, then why the Hell were there so many dragonflies just now?
