Hello, /an/.

I was recently browsing the online classified adds site, and I happened across a giveaway cat.

It's from my city's animal impound, and they don't have much information on it.

It's an odd eyed longhaired 'domestic' white female cat.

It's completely free, but it isn't spayed, so I would have to incur this cost.

Two of the three dogs we had died last year, and all that's left is a four year old chihuahua.

I had a cat growing up, and I want one again. How can I convince my parents to let me get it while I'm living at their house?

I'll be moving out again in about a month, but I don't want to wait to get a cat.

Walk up to the impound lot (hehe) and ask them nicely. I'm sure they'd love to tell you.

I meant how do I convince my mom (dad doesn't care) to let me get this cat?

poison your parents

4chan is the wrong place to ask for advice about that. You know your mom better than I do. I only see her on weekends when I have spare change.

prove you know how to take care of it?
or bribe her.

but, why?

Here is a better advice,
Get yourself a nice big cat suit. Put it on when your parents are at home and then walk around the house while meowing loudly. eventually your parents are going to give in and will beg for you to get a cat.

Would you really put yourself so low to get a measly cat?

Just get it and hide the fucker inside your room. Then act really "ashamed" when discovered.

IT'S ONE FUCKING MONTH!

I am always surprised at how fucking fast a month goes by. What kind of crazy fantasy world do you live in where a month is a long time?

For starters, I wouldn't get your hopes up about this cat in particular. It has been advertised, plus sounds beautiful, so odds are that someone has already scooped her up.

I would really suggest waiting until you move out to get a cat. That way, they wouldn't have to adjust to you AND a big move. Less stress on your new kitty! Also, try to pick a pet based more on personality than its looks. If you are really interested in a pet cat, go to your local shelter and take the time to find a cat that 'feels right'.

Good luck!
