This is my kitty, Figaro, drinking out of the toilet.

Yes, she does have a water dish. No, I don't know if he got dropped on her head when she was born....

Kitty loev flowing water.
Don't worry, many cats do that. If you don't like it just drop the lid on the toilet...don't be an asshole and do it while the cat is there :|

My kitten actually likes to watch inside the toilet while I pee in it. He fell in once.

My cat used to do that too, when she was with her old owner. She's still perfectly healthy, so don't worry about it

But I don't let her do that anymore when she's with me, though.

Yup, my cat has done that for a long time too. I guess cats do it because it's always cold and its 'freshened' on a more regular basis.

Be careful if you use those toilet cleaning pucks that you drop in the tank though. I knew someone who let their kitten drink from the toilet that subsequently died from puck chemicals.

One of my cats will only drink out of a glass or mug full of water in the kitchen sink. If theres nothing there, it doesnt drink, even though the other two cats drink out of their bowl no problem. If I pour the water from the cats bowl into a glass and put it in the sink, the cat will drink it. Ive changed the bowl, tried plastic metal and ceramic, makes no difference. Cats are stupid.
