This is my kitten Bukowski. He is the greatest cat I've ever met in my life.

He's adorable and loves me more than anything. Obviously a cat will (typically) love it's owner, but this little guy is ecstatic if I'm just in the same room as him. If he just sees me he purrs and starts making little chirping noises. He always reaches up to my face and paws at my beard, as if it was something he could tangibly get.

This is one of the best pictures I have of him. The other one is his brother, Calvin. Calvin is an ocicat. Bukowski was the runt of the litter and is inexplicably long-haired and without any ocicat markings.

He's adorable.

CUTENESS OVERLOAD

As cute as those kittens are, they are in no way ocicats. The word you're looking for is tabby, which is a generic standard colouring variation for domestic cats without an "exotic" heritage.

Sorry, your kittens are only special in that they're gorgeous - nothing more.

Mother was near pure ocicat, father was manx. Yes, they're ocicats, even if they didn't retain a lot of the characteristics. Look at Calvin's face: you can see it.

Father was manx, yet both of them have full length tails. Mother was ocicat, yet the only evidence of this is a generic tabby pattern on one of the kittens.

I hope you didn't pay anything more than normal kitten prices for these two, because seriously, there is nothing special about them.

I'm not claiming they're fucking goddamn purebred ocicats, I know they're not. They're just kittens and I love them and I happened to mention that they've got a bit of the blood in them. They were free, thank you.

Bukowski is a neat name for a cat.

I work at a vet, and see "Mr. Freckles," "Spencer," "Princess," etc... too often

Thanks. Named for the writer Charles Bukowski. Calvin got his name after about 2 weeks of not being able to think of anything that suited him. I have one other cat named Achilles.

Adorable cat you have there, OP.

These are my cats, Pollux (the black one) and Pixel.

Pollux is a silent type, usually outdoors, doesn't ask for much. The dogs stay away from him.
Pixel is a whiny cat screaming for attention when he's looking for me. Both cats prefer to lay on piles of paper instead of cushions/bed.

Very cute. Pollux does look very mellow. My cats are the same way about paper, if I ever leave paper or notebooks or anything like that on the floor, they just radiate to it. Calvin tends to like plastic bags a lot too.
