kills it brings it to you and drops it at your feet, you try to pick it up but it carries it under the poarch to eat it. My Cat Patches used to do it all the time with mice, small rabbits and birds

if it's anything like my cat, it'll stalk closer and closer to the rabbit until it realizes they're the same size, and hide behind something watching the rabbit until it leaves.

My cat always used to kill rabbit babies and bring them home. Once I woke up with a rabbit head in my bed.

The cats of a friend of mine once found a nest of baby bunnies outside. Not wanting to kill them all in one go, but not wanting to leave them outside where they weren't easily accessible at all times, they carried them gently into the house and hid them in the basement. Then, over the course of the next two weeks, every so often someone in the house would either find a baby bunny or find the remains of a baby bunny.
