does anyone else get their pets high? I've been holding my rabbit up and blowing pot smoke in her face for a year, she gets all pillowlike and aloof. share your stories/pics =D

pic related, it's my bunny.

I let my rat drink alcohol now and then, but he's a real tough guy, he doesn't get drunk fast.
>> Anonymous
Rabbits have very sensitive lungs, don't expect her to live long.
>> Anonymous
>>277014
ohfuck. uh, does the fact that the smoke is vapor from a bong change anything? (she's 5 years old now)
>> Anonymous
never got a pet high, but my family had a basset hound when i was growing up that LOVED to drink beer.

he'd slurp it up and swagger and snort around the backyard...

that rabbit is enormous

I am not predicting the longevity of your bunny, but I suggest you take her to a rabbit knowledgeable vet. She is five, that's like middle age for a rabbit. A check up is always good at this point. Is she spayed? Does she eat a lot of hay?

yes, and yes.

That's great. Give her some veggies and not much sugary treats like carrots and stuff. Again, a check up would make you both feel better. I lost two bunnies to pasteurella, they were born with it, they lived long, but still. I am concerned with their lungs.
She's a beauty, awesome bunny. Take good care of her.

You're a fucking retard for treating your rabbit like that.
>> Anonymous
Oh go to hell. That's animal abuse you fucktard.
>> Anonymous
>>277165
I doubt that calling him names would make him stop doing that.
>> Anonymous
Animals belong in the wild. If you take one into your home and feed it and give it a name, that just as much animal abuse as getting it high. What I am saying is that while they may have no personal choice in the matter of whether or not it gets high, they also have no choice between being free or living inside.

My wording isn't exactly perfect but I don't really see a problem with this, you're not really hurting him and he is just going to die anyway, it's a friggin animal not a child.
>> Anonymous
I like getting high, but OP is a retard.

Basically animal abuse.
>> Anonymous
/r/ing rabbit sitting on an xbox
>> Anonymous
No. Alcohol and drugs tend to do horrible things to the insides. Living long is not something drugged up animals tend to do.
>> Anonymous
>>277194
You have a pretty twisted sense of reality.

Certainly don't condone OPs activities... But

damn, you must feel really intelligent typing that, too bad you have no idea how stupid what you just said is.

=/
Only have a ps2/ps3/pc.
I'm really not a stupid/cruel person, my bunny licks me and binks so much more when she's high, and her lifespan maxes out in 2-3 years, so I might as well have her happy as possible until them.

how is any of this different from giving cats catnip?
or are you guys worried about the rabbit's respiratory system?
>> Anonymous

>>277218
Yeaaahhh, but so far as I know, catnip doesn't hurt the cat. Bong smoke, cigarette smoke - they have all sorts of other crap in them and bunnies lungs are a hell of a lot smaller than humans so it's going to mess them up faster than it would a person.

OP, if you start taking care of her now, you could have as many as 5-7 years with her. I didn't know they lived that long until I had my own. http://www.rabbit.org/care/facts.html

<-- THAT'S a big bunny.

These threads are so fucking dumb. Why you would come onto a forum and ask this kind of shit is utterly beyond me.

Fuck you for forcing your rabbit to smoke pot.
It would be different if she sought out the smoke on her own, but you are forcing her to do something against her will and instinct.

People like you need to be dragged out of bed by the police in the middle of the night, lined up against a wall, and shot.

Calm down. It's just a fucking rabbit.
>> Anonymous
>>277855

Seriously. But I do disagree with getting animals high. My friends used to want to get my dog high but I said no. I think he got high just from contact sometimes but I dunno.
>> Anonymous
ever seen a drunk raven try to fly? gave a wild raven a timble of homemade pochine, flew off and fell to the ground a few moments later, i took it home and its been my best friend since. i still give it a few drops once and again, it loves it.

Rabbits are natural.

Cannabis is natural.

Therefore, its not a problem.
>> Anonymous
>>277935
Infallible logic.

I've never purposely try to get my cats high, but sometimes they'll come in while I'm smoking, hop on the bed for a contact buzz and chill. They never seem to mind.
