Hey /an/, does you pet sleep in bed with you? My cat likes to curl up next to me in bed. Pic is kind of related because it's my cat sleeping.

My cat used to sleep on the pillow beside me but after I bought him a heated bed he wont get out of the damn thing. The heated bed now rest on the spot the pillow used to beside me.

When I was a kid, my cat would rest his forearms on my shoulder between my torso and arm. He died five years ago of natural causes.

My current cat would sleep between my legs when he was a kitten. Now he sleeps on my bed during the day, but at night he sleeps on my desk chair.

My sister's rottweiler lies next to people. Especially visitors. I once spent a night on her couch and the dog wanted to be next to or on top of me. She's a big dog, too. She wanted to keep an eye on me, I guess.

my dog is part german shepherd. he finds the need to patrol the house and around the house every 2-3 hours. he sleeps on a couch and watches outside.

My cat sleeps next to my head. Half the time I wake up to cat ass. It sucks. But its nice when he curls up next to my chest. He's teh warm
>> Anonymous
my cat sleeps stretched out on my chest.
to bad i toss and turn like crazy so if i want to keep my company, i have to hold her while i turn and she'll readjust herself to get comfortable again.

still doesn't last one since i turn so goddamn much and she gets fed up with it.

My male cat sleeps on 'his' pillow, the one beside mine. It's also the one without a cover on it, so it's covered in his hair.

My female ALWAYS sleeps between my legs, and I'm a very restless sleeper so it bothers me when I can't roll over. I've only kicked her out of that spot once, otherwise I just move around where she's laying.

My ferrets fall asleep on my bed after playtime :3

Our cats only sleep on a bed when nobody else is sleeping there, i.e. during days and evenings. Sometimes they've stayed in bed with me until I fall asleep, but after that they leave and find another place to sleep in. Apparently I move around in my sleep too much and they don't like that.
>> Gen
My cat sleeps on my stomach or ass, depending if I'm sleeping face up or face down. She'll also sometimes use my legs as a bed instead.

Otherwise she sleeps in my chair.

my cat >NAPS on my chest and >SLEEPS on my knees. neither position is very convenient, but both are cute. :-)

My cat (looks like this one) will sleep on my bed during the day and evenings. Preferred spot? Any clean clothes left on the bed for later sorting. If I'm sleeping in and he comes up, he'll curl up in the crook at the back of my knees (since I tend to be in a fetal-like position)

My cat sleeps on whichever pillow Im using, right above my head. Like a hat.

I have three cats, they compete for bed space at night. One has a habit of creeping under the covers when I'm asleep (I don't allow it when awake). The other two are both content to lie atop the quilt. I often wake with one cat in the bed and two coiled on top.

I sleep in the same position. My cat loves it when I sleep on my back so she can get on my chest, but my knees hurt so I usually sleep on my side. She lays in the dip in my waist, then.

Oh, that is adorable.
I don't have a cat though...

My dog sleeps next to me in my bed. He curls up sort of behind my legs because I sleep on my side.

My dog sleeps on a chair and a half in my room most nights but sometimes he stares at me over the armrest with scary glowing eyes until I let him up on the bed. At that point I give up on having any space or covers because he slowly pushes me off the bed...

Yeah, 65lb greyhound mix not good at bed sharing. Pic of him taking up way too much bed.

he doesn't sleep with me. But he does say goodnight every night. it's cute. He hops up and sits on my chest and loves on me until he thinks I'm asleep. then he goes to wreak havoc elsewhere

lol, sometimes i leave my quaker parrot outta the cage and he likes to sleep on the pillow next to me at night. Too bad theres always a pile of bird poo the next morning. :(

Occasionally one of mine will come into my room

Sometimes she'll choose the wool blanket
Other times she'll sleep between my legs in the bend of my knees to make sure i can't move without flinging her across the bed.

One of mine used to, but one time she lay on my back, giving me the impression I was being held down by someone and couldn't move (heavy cat). Sleep drunk, I started panicking, waving my arms and trying to get up. Cat wasn't happy.

Current cat almost got killed some years ago. She had positioned himself behind my dad, who was sleeping on his side. He then turned around, squishing the cat. Luckily he woke up, noticed he was lying on something fluffy, pulled the cat from under him and gave it a heart massage. (lol vet) She started breathing again after a while, but now she refuses to sleep on a bed anymore. She does still come to wake me up though, and only on weekdays. She nows to let me sleep in during weekends. No clue how.

I usually sleep on my side with my legs bent, so my dog would curl up and sleep cupped in my legs.
>> Anonymous
My dog sleeps either on the side of my pillow or she rests herself on my back if im sleeping on my side.

no, but my cat likes to go to sleep right in the middle of the bed before i want to go to sleep

and triple especially if its on my coat too

The family pug Charlie a.k.a Mr. Charles every morning for the past week has woken me up so I can get him in the bed (or sometimes he jumps in by himself) then he worms his way between my girlfriend and I underneath the covers and we both fall back to sleep. Then my girlfriend wakes up with a "puggerful" surprise. Also three of the ten cats sleep on the bed at any given time. But the house is huuuge so it can handel the hordes of cats and 3 pugs.

I don't like animal hair on my bed and fleas/worms are not nice either.

My cat usually take up half of my bed, he slowly pushes against me until I end up between him and the wall. Fucking adorable bastard.

Yeah, all of them do. Pic related. When I'm not sleeping, they all sleep where I sleep (the side of the bed they are on now)

But when it's time for bed, I push them to the other side of the bed. I know it sounds like it'd be easier to just sleep on the empty space, but they take over wherever I slept the night before so it's redudant.

That said, in the days I owned a Malamute, GSD, Siberian, and Labrador at the same time (may they rest in peace) they all slept on the bed, somehow. Though, I had a King Size bed in those days, not a Queen like I do now, so that made it slightly easier.

The Malamute, Husky, and GSD slept in tight balls, taking up minimal space, but the Lab, of course, slept sprawled all over the place.

One cat sleeps at the end of the bed, the other sleeps by my side. It's unfortunate, since I'm allergic, but I suffer through it. Neither of them sleep directly on me because I move around too much in my sleep.

Girl hands+boobs=female, you dullard.

My cat will usually sleep on my chest or on my side when I am lying like that. I have to move to get comfortable so it usually will either sleep at the end of my bed or crawl through the cloths chute into the other room. My pug though is a different story, any spot on my bed will instantly become hers when she pushes me out of the way.

Oh come now, I was just trying to be funny. :3

Anyway, my cats changed around where they slept a lot. I had one that always slept against the wall at the foot of my bed. Another who would usually sleep on the pillow next to me or above my head. He also liked to switch between my sister and I.

Don't worry, I lol'd. I usually keep myself out of pictures I post on the internet, but since this thread is about resting* with animals....

Anyway. My sister's kitten sleeps up behind her head. That's really cute too. But when she was a baby and just coming over for visits, she liked to sleep in a pile with her siblings like so.

Niggerhusky's cat is d'awwww cute!

*Was going to say sleeping with/sharing a bed with, but it sounded so dirty...

Oh, shit, I miss cats.

My cat never slept in one specific spot; she'd visit all of us. Occasionally, she'd move to the head of my bed, right in my goddamn face, while I was asleep. Meaning I'd wake up with a face full of fur and all the respiratory problems that come with it.
>> Anonymous
One of my dogs sleeps in my bed because it hates the puppy and he puppy cant get one the bed.
The cat also sleeps at the foot of the bed, and my macaw falls asleep on my shoulder all the damn time.

Before I moved away from home my dog would always sleep with me, under the blankets. Shes a Boston terrier so she snored really loud :)
>> Anonymous
Whenever I head back west to my family's place, I end up sleeping on a couch whereupon our shar-pei/lab mix immediately climbs up and lays down on either my legs or stomach.

That and I usually end up falling asleep and wake up with another lab's nose in my face.

These guys seriously never leave me the fuck alone. I guess I must be the best thing since sliced bread to them or something.

When my kitty was little, he would curl up right on top of my collarbone and sleep there. He's too big for that now. Now he just sleeps on my legs or stomach. He likes my fuzzy blanket.

I also used to have a fucking huge cat who would sit on my chest while I was sleeping and try to steal my breath. True story.
>> Anonymous
My cat sleeps upside down in my armpit with her head on my shoulder, and she sits next to my face and purrs really loud and tries to lick my beard, so I hide under the sheets.
