Totally serious question /an/. Well, not so much serious as pondering I suppose. Animals, other than humans, don't communicate verbally that much, right? Just mostly through body language and expressions and all that. Do you think it's possible that some animals can read each other's minds? Within species of course - perhaps even with other animals? Or is this completely ridiculous and animals are just extremely perceptive?

it's like with sign language. People have trouble learning and understanding it because they're used to using their ears for verbal language. if you start off with only body movement, you become more used to tracking body language than listening for verbal cues
