No, in captivity they've still got a bacteria-laced bite.

I saw a show where they were showing how the bigger reptiles are smarter then we think. They had a dragon that only liked one of the three reptile keepers.

She would be hostile to the other two but, the one she liked would be calm and sit in his lap while she was petted.

Show also showed that crocodiles and alligators can be trained. They even can learn their names.

I saw some TV show where this guy had a pet alligator.. or crocidile.. same difference.

anyways, it was docile and the guy took it to kids birthday parties

Varanids, like Komodo Monitors, are among the smartest of the reptiles. My male Savannah Monitor absolutely loathes everyone except me, and he'll only tolorate other people touching him when he's on my shoulder.

So I don't doubt a Komodo could tame down to the point of playing favorites with its keepers.

Any crocodilian, on the other hand...

It's already been said. Insurance. Insurance. INSURANCE.

Crocodilians are way too unpredicatable...

People get too comfortable with animals like that. It's something you can never do when you work with reptiles, because no matter how docile they might act, they aren't domesticated by any means and could easily turn on you.

It's stupid to interact with a crocodilian like that, and a little cruel for the animal. They aren't house pets.

Apprantly he didnt want to get all close with the croc at first but it would claw at his mosquito net so it could lay in bed next to him and stuff so he just let it do whatever like climbing into the chair next to him as in the photo. also this picture lol
