This is my mom's dog, Annie. We think she's mostly Parson Russell terrier with a teeny-tiny bit of saluki in her. (She loves to run and can get a little shaggy.)

This is my Cuban Knight Anole. He turned into a recluse and hides behind a fake log all day. I don't see him anymore. What a fag.
>> Anonymous
     File :-(, x)
>>344043
And this is my juvenile leopard gecko, Grendel. He's about three and a half months old now. He goes nuts for crickets and loves mealworms. He's still afraid of me although he's starting to tolerate me picking him up to move him more, since he's mostly stopped hissing at me when he gets uncomfortable. He's starting to figure out that I'm where food comes from.
>> Anonymous
>>344045
Are you giving him enough shit to climb on and some shady spots to cool down in? Do you have thermometers on both sides of the cage to monitor the cool and warm temps?

I submit, sir, that YOU are the faggot.

>>344048

His whole cage is full of things to climb on and the temps are suitable for this species. I'm not new to caring for reptiles.

When you keep numerous reptiles for a couple years, you learn that two thermometers aren't necessary. Being precise is a waste of time and energy, especially when it comes to generalist species who thrive in a variety of conditions. It's never constant in the wild, unless you're dealing with an organism that lives in one type of microhabitat under a certain species of grass off some tiny bank in the middle of the Amazon. But that's not the case with a Knight Anole. He lived in a 10 gallon with another Knight in it for 3 years in a pet store in Las Vegas. What I've given him is a palace compared to that shithole he lived in.

I'll admit that I need to get him a new UVB light that covers the entire tank and possibly redesign it so that he has a more stable perch (he keeps breaking the setup of grapevine and fake driftwood I have), but other than that, there are no problems. There is no issue with temperatures, just the lighting.

>>344055
No, it looks like a Rottweiler.
>> Anonymous
>>344068
What kind of terrible shit hole pet store takes 3 years to sell a lizard?
>> Anonymous
>>344071

Two lizards. They were on the bottom shelf. $20 each. Both in fantastic health despite being clearly WC and being in a shitty enclosure for a long time. I guess people prefer the ball pythons and leopard geckos those guys hatch out en masse. They had a giant tank with 200+ hatchling ball pythons for like $35 each.

The weird thing is, that store was the only one I've ever seen that had CB Gila Monster babies. $2000 for the 1.1 pair.
>> Anonymous
>>344075
CB gila monsters in a pet store like that sounds pretty shady.
>> Anonymous
>>344068
I retract my previous statement then. That ungrateful faggot needs to come out and bask in full view.

The reason I use two thermometers (just a liquid crystal one on the cool side) is because I don't have any fucking air conditioning and the temperature's pretty inconstant from day to day. It was nice out today (high 70's I think) so I've been able to keep the lamp at a lower intensity, though Grendel still wanders about (mostly when he's hungry; when he's got a bunch of mealworms and crickets in him he just wants to sleep).
>> Anonymous
>>344077
It's not just shady, it's illegal. They're a protected species in Nevada.

My kitty, Stormy. We found him when he was a year old. He was 5 pounds, had an eye infection, lung infection, and a broken leg. We got all those treated (though nothing could be done with the leg). Then we found out he has Feline Lukemia.

But I swear, looking at him, he's the happiest, healthiest, fattest cat ever. It's a happy ending for a sweet cat!

Aww, a friend of mine has a dog just like that. Her name is Cera and she(okay seriously I can't remember if it's a she or a he) is the dumbest little thing ever. So cute. We called her 'dog' though.

All of you have such cute pets! I have none, so I just lurk here and admire yours. :3

Heres my baby, Mimi. :3 She's a very tiny 11 year old, was a barn cat when we got her as a kitten. Now she's a lazy indoor cat. She's spoiled as hell.

Heres my mom's jack russell terrier. His name is, brace for it, Jack. He's a bully and a brat, my mom never trained him and doesn't discipline him.

This is our newest addition, Lucy. We're not sure what she is aside from black lab and... something. She's a very hyper 2 year old stray that we happened across. Unfortunately my brother decided that she was "his" dog, so she doesn't get nearly as much exercise, love, or food as she should. :(

I try my best to fill in that gap for her, but it's hard trying to dodge my brother. If he catches me with her I just get bitched out.

Wth, no hamsters anywhere? ;_;

This is mine, Doakes. He killed the first female he tried mating with. Injured the second one on the belly and finally got put in place by the third one, a paranoid bitch as angry as he was.

He was always the sweetest with me and the family, though. He looks like a dog, so behaved he is around us. And he comes when we call.

lol BTW the reason Ms Diva (the brown pit) has sores is because we bought her from a crack head just a week or so before that pic. Surprisingly, she warmed up to everyone in no time. They were starving her in the back yard because she wouldn't fight back :\

My kitten shortly after I found him and gave him a bath. He was in a car engine and covered in oil. Cleaned him up and took him to the vet. His eyes are all gooey because he had a respiratory infection, but it cleared fine.
