It's common. Don't feed her for a couple hours before you put her in the car, and try feeding her some ginger snaps (they help with carsickness).
Otherwise, to get her used to it, put her in the car ALL THE TIME. It sounds like she gets overexcited/nervous, so to get her used to it just start putting her in the car and sitting in there with her for a few minutes, then getting out again. Slowly build up (start turning on the engine and sitting in the car with her, but not going anywhere, then when she's used to that put her in the car and drive around the block - just 5 minute drives at first). After a while she'll realise the car's nothing to be nervous about.
