dear /an/

I recently moved to a new house after being in one that was infested with fleas. before we moved we vacuumed all the furniture and our mattress and treated our cat with advantage before and after moving.

what is the likelihood that we brought the fleas with us? my kitty is still scratching a lot, even though I can't find any fleas on him and I concerned we may have brought them with us.

thanks in advance.

pic related. my kitty.

Advantage should take care of them. I wouldn't worry too much.

flea bomb. Also if he's an outside cat you'll want to treat your lawn too.

OP here: he's not an outdoor cat. the reason we had fleas at our old place was because one of my roommates was had an outdoor cat he didn't take care of and got infested with fleas and ticks.

I've already bought flea spray and sprayed the couch and all the cushions down with it. should I still flea bomb?

better safe than sorry OP. when i was little one of our cats had a really bad flea problem and he ALWAYS slept in my bed at night. Apparently they bit my legs while i slept, went to school one day and a teacher though it was chicken pox, sent me to the nurse, nurse said they were flea bites, CPS was called and etc..... not fun.
flea bomb, get her advantage, and good luck
