New crab and angel fish Anonymous
What do you guys think? They are in a 30 gallon tank, just upgraded it from a 10 gallon. This is the first time I've had an angel fish, but it seems to be doing fine. When I got the crab, it was missing its small claw, but it seems to be growing back.

Your blue substrate hurts my eyes. Your tank might be big enough to stop your disabled crab from taking out chucks of your angels fins but dont be surprised if he does

i guess if the purpose of the tank is for the crab to mutilate the angel fish, then yes, it's great

You could break off your crabs good arm, or put a little rubber-band around it

OP here. The angel seems to float too high up for the crab to get at it. There are some other fish in the tank as well that are bottom dwellers, but the grab doesn't seem to bother them in the slightest.

some crabs bother fish and some don't. It depends on the species of crab...and how plentiful food is, of course.

The claw will grow back when it's shedding.
Some crabs really are not interested in fish.
Maybe you got lucky.

How does the crab eat without its small claw? I thought the big one was only for mating

OP here, he uses his big claw the same way he would have used the small claw, just less gracefully.
