Hey /an/

Im after a new cat, and was wondering what breed of cat you guys would recommend. i currently have a Burmese, but unfortunately she seems to get lonely whenever im not around, so i was hoping to get her some company.

so /an/ whats you favorite breed of cat, and why?

Normal, non-pretentious ones?

Unlike dogs, cats are just fine the way they are and do not need to be distinguished with human conventions like breeds.
Whether you get a purebred Russian Blue or a big-boned tabby from the Humane Society you're assured the cat will be a cat.
Anyone who goes to buy a particular breed of cat is an effete faggot or they're in it for breeding kittens to sell other gullible folk.

of course! its presumptious to think that cats bred for different personalites, traites, and mannerisms though the generations would actually act different from breed to breed! wow you are so smart!

why not go the the cat fanciers association (google) website and look up what the typical burmese is like. sure you know, but you could look up the other breeds and see what would match or join the forums?

SIAMESE, hands-down.

far more intelligent and interactive with people than other breeds.

plus they have that awesome voice...

I had a siamese, awesome cat, she loved me so much that she'd never get angry at me. She could attack some other people if they annoyed her, but she would never even take her claws out when I was annoying her a lot.
