The cat keeps destroying our toilet paper.
Any easy solutions for this besides moving the roll out of reach or setting the cat on fire?

Well, obviously she's more entertained with the toilet paper.

get a toilet roll cover or leave the roll out of reach

I cured my cat of this bad habit many years ago. Put a roll of TP in the middle of your floor somewhere. Preferably in a room with a TV or computer, because you're going to have to hang around it. When your cat goes to shred it, squirt him with a water gun. Repeat as needed. My cat needed two hose-downs before she started avoiding toilet paper like the plague.

Good luck.

if you put something with bad taste in the paper? (don't use pepper, it will burn you too)

Put it in the cupboard under the bathroom sink. In most bathrooms, you should still be able to open the cupboard door and reach for it without getting off the can.

That's what I had to do, as my siamese kept ripping it apart, eating it, then puking it on the living room carpet.

My cat did the same exact thing, except with tissue paper. Left bits and pieces all over the house. The "water gun approach" would be a good idea, as long as you're not using a high-powered water blaster on the poor cat. I used a spray bottle, picked up from the dollar store. Spray the cat when needed (don't overdo it, though) or just take the toilet paper away and stuff something else, like one of his (his?) toys in his face. He'll learn eventually, hehe.

This is what we did, and I hope it helps. If not... well, I tried :/
