All-time favorite dino for sure.

TROODON IS THE WIN. ALL OTHER DINOSAURS ARE THE SUCK.

T. rex may be the king, but I'm the biggest predator dinosaur!

Spinos are the best.

Diplodocus is this year's Dilophosaurus.

FALSE. ALL DINOSAURS ARE NOTHING COMPARED TO THE GLORY THAT IS TROODON.

He can beg all he likes, and he'll still be wrong. He got owned by Matthew Broderick, after all.

Also, please note that Godzilla is not a dinosaur.

You're thinking of Zilla, the American TriStar remake. And Godzilla is a dinosaur, he was mutated from a Godzillasaurus (clever, I know).

But a new dinosaur recently discovered was named Gojirasaurus.

Regardless of the source material, there is a fatal flaw in your insistence that Godzilla is the ultimate dinosaur.
>he was mutated from a Godzillasaurus
>was mutated from
>mutated

I put forth the fact that Godzilla is not a dinosaur, just as the X-Men were not people, and therefore exempt from the conversation.

Nitpick, nitpick. Okay, seeing as Godzilla is the next step in dinosaur evolution, he can't be a dinosaur anymore.

Have some Gorosaurus instead (Ha! I win anyway!)
>> Bitter Anon !!WJLRQ1cwCyZ
>>148426
Hey, one mutant is not a step in evolution. If he had managed to breed (Lets not get into the whole godzuki or whatever the fuck he was debate), then you could say that. But he wasn't. It was just one.

I will admit that Gorosaurus is a little awesome. But not as awesome as TROODON.

Ugh, don't get me started on Minilla either. Freaky Stay Puft Marshmallow Kaiju thing. Godzooky was from the Hanna-Barbara Godzilla series in the 70's, which was almost as bad. He was a flying reptilian Scooby Doo.

Troodon was smart and cool, yes, but he can't stomp your house or incinerate your city. Hmm, maybe the creature in "Cloverfield" will be a giant Troodon?
>> Bitter Anon !!WJLRQ1cwCyZ
>>148429
TROODON (it must be in caps) might not be able to stomp your house.. but he will plot with his friends. They will sneak into your home, rape and eat your pets, then your family, and then last, he will come for you. TROODON knows no mercy.

Best at sitting by the river and slapping fish, you mean. Spinosaurus was the end result of an entire family of theropods (megalosaurs) being relegated to the role of second tier beach-combers once carnosaurs stepped in to take their ecological niche as dominant predators.

Hence the reason Carcharodontosaurus and a host of abelisaurs/noasaurs served as the primary big game hunters of the very same ecosystem Spinosaurus inhabited.

Yeah? Well, your wrists are broken. So there!

Also, picture is an accurate reconstruction of a Godzillasaurus.

But it had a sail.

>>148473

So did Dimetrodon, which actually DID dominate its environment.

So worship Dimetrodon. Not a dinosaur, but the closest you'll get to a sailbacked dominant predator.

Incorrect. That was a rejected concept for the Sony-Tristar Godzilla, if I recall correctly.

This here is the Godzillasaurus from the Godzilla films. The actual dinosaur, Gojirasaurus, looked more like Coelophysis, and was only about twenty feet in length.

>>148387

yeah spinosaurus probably had weak jaws compared to tyrannosaurs, since all it ate was fish. giganotosaurus was even bigger
>> Anonymous
>>148480
Actually no, that's just a picture of a model kit, made by a guy famous for dinosaur and movie-related sculptures. Cool though.
>> Anonymous
>>148490
Then again, Tyrannosaurs had the strongest bite of any known dinosaur. All the others basically just concentrated to rip some meat off the bones, while T. rex bit through the bones and crushed them. The dinosaurian hyena, in a way.
