A heartwarming tale of wat NotHarblongCassidy !KzfKdB2Xmc
I was outside walking my dog and smoking a cigar about at hour ago, when I see the local stray cat dancing around on a yard across the street, only a moment after my dog violently yanked me in its direction. The dog was all riled up, so I took her home. I still had a lot left to smoke, so I went back outside. I just walked around by my house and eventually settled on a spot across the street. Just as my cigar was burning down to its last ends, I just notice a shadow by my feet and freak out. I quickly look and there's the black cat that my dog has been antagonizing for god knows how long.
The cat starts winding itself around my legs, so I put one arm up in case it decides to claw my shit up, and rub it with the other hand. I spend maybe three minutes just doing this and making baby talk with this cat. I decide to go in, and surely enough the thing follows me.
I let the cat run inside the porch with me, it wasn't even hesitant about it. I then get out my Zippo...
Anyway, the thing is having a ball, rubbing itself up and down everything, jumping around (knocked over a dictionary), occasionally running over and letting me pet it. It seemed very reluctant to leave. I took a piece of ry dog food, waved it around and tossed it outside and closed the door.
Good night, little CAT0 (strange, but that's what was on his collar).

lol, also, when I come inside I figured my dog had since jumped into my parents' bed to sleep, but there she was sitting on the couch, eying me very contemptuously at first, then happy enough to just sniff me all over figuring out WTF I had been doing with her mortal enemy.

Perhaps the cat was spying:

OP - have you been ogling /b/ too much?

Anyway... I have a stray cat too. I fed him, and now he constantly runs in front of my feet and causes me to trip. He lets me touch him as long as he doesn't see my hands, but runs away when you try to pick him up.

hmm... well, i had a stray cat that moved into my house. I didnt really want another cat so i kept in chasing him out. Next thing i know, he started being very nice to my mom to the point of hiding behind her ankles when everyone else is around. Maybe your cat was looking for a home and is doing the same thing? pic related:-

I semi-own a stray cat. Every once in a while I'll see it pawing at my kitchen window. I let it in and feed it. Then it curls up in my lap while I'm watching TV or reading or whatever and sleeps. Once it wakes up I let it out and he disappears for a day or two then comes back. Cute little thing.

I'd be more than happy to let it into my house if it weren't for my dad's allergies and my dog's probably-murderous rage.
