I'm not really into breeds of cats. All my cats are/have been regular old shelter cats. However, I really wish I could get a cat from Lamu island which is off the coast of Kenya.Supposedly they are a relic population descended from cats brought there in antiquity by Egyptian traders. From the few pics I've seen they seem to have the OSH/Siamese/Sphinx build with the long slender bodies and wedgy heads with big ears. Haven't heard what sort of personality they have.I'd imagine though that importing a cat from Africa (if it's even possible) would require extensive BS and probably a long quarantine.Thoughts?
