/an/, I'm considering getting a corgi. Not anytime soon, because I still live with my father and he tends to RAGE at the thought of pets, but I'm trying to convince him to let me have one as an early birthday present.

What should I know about corgis when I start looking for one? Any good advice for when I finally do get one? My last dog (who had to be put down in March) was a Golden Retriever, so I'm used to active dogs, just not smaller types.

I know my girlfriend's Corgi is evil. It's very aggressive, barks, pisses all over the house, and has attacked people numerous times. I think this is more because of her mom's animal rights attitude, so she would never even scold the dog for the bad behavior.

He does have a lot of energy though. You need to be able to spend lots of time taking care of them, or else they get into trouble. My girlfriend's is also very smelly, and bathing him doesn't help. Hope this helps.
