hi, /an/. First time here, but I figured I could come to you with a question or two.

I'm thinking about adopting a rabbit today. He's male and intact, but I also have a male neutered cat at home. The rabbit came from a home with a female cat, but I was wondering if my cat being male will have a different effect. Basically, do rabbits mark territory like cats? Is he gonna like, pee everywhere? I'll have him in a roomy cage, but curious as to if he will piss the walls or something.

Rabbits are shitty pets. They don't do anything and always end up getting killed.

get a Tarantula instead, cats fucking LOVE Tarantulas.

Males tend to pee then hop. If your cage is wire, I would put a plastic shield around to contain.

p.s. if you add vanilla extract to the water everyday, it will cut back on the smell.

He's going to fucking piss and shit everywhere until he gets neutered. I promise. He also might hump your cat until it attacks him.

Warning: they are extreamly boring pets. My fish interact with me more than the rabbits I've owned... they are cute but useless.

I am perfectly fine with boring pets. My cat is of similar quality.

I think yours is just defective, my rabbit follows me around the room and periodically demands I pet him by licking me. He also will hop into my lap randomly and try his best to climb onto and sit onto the keyboard.

They do. You will have to neuter him. Also, litterbox train him and let him roam free. Most, if not all rabbit rescues won't give bunnies to live outside or in cages. If it's a responsible place, they will make you sign a document saying so.

Each rabbit has a different personality. Mine gave himself the job of an alarm clock.

Not OP, but my rabbit can't roam free yet due to me owning cats and a dog that likes to hunt, I hadn't planned on getting a rabbit mind you, I kinda found him outside, I live in a place with practically no animal rescue organizations at all, and no native wild rabbits so I think someone didn't want their rabbit anymore and just let him loose.

I also have a fuckton of cables all over the place, I did however set up a large-ish space for him to live in, namely some adjustable metal fencing in a 10 foot by 6 foot rectangle, I am in the process of rabbit proofing my room where the enclosure is and plan to do the rest of the house, and see if I can't introduce him to the cats. I plan on letting him roam free in my room when it's done, and other parts of the house but only with my supervision.
