Fennec Foxes? Anonymous
Anyone got pictures? I know there are a few people in the states who keep them for pets.

kitsune ?? ^^

From what I've heard about them, they're extremely active and good diggers, so they can cause some problems involving escape and the such

Where the hell do you go about getting one of these? More importantly, how much...?

Exotic pet stores where it's legal. My guess is more than your average pet.

They run for about a thousand bucks here in the states. You gotta find breeders.

Fennec fox, I used to have one a few years ago. Mine cost $1,000 for a baby female, not sure if that's a normal price or not. Be warned they have a terrible smell! I don't mean their feces or cage, I mean the fennec fox just smells bad. It has something to do with the desert being it's natural habitat, something like that. They are kinda cool but not worth the trouble IMO. Had to get rid of mine because it was illegal where I live. Even if it is legal you have to get all kinds of permits and junk otherwise if you get caught with it and don't have the permits it will be taken away. They aren't very trainable and are pretty skittish. Very cute looking though.
