RAEP SPIDER IS RAEPING

Jumping spiders have this eerie inquisitiveness about them. I was watching one next to my pool, when it turned around and began staring at me. Mind you it wasn't just looking in my direction, it was scanning my face. I found that amusing enough, but then it purposefully scuttled towards me. Genuinely intrigued, I allowed it to climb up my arm and onto my shoulder. I walked around my backyard for a bit, all the while observing this strange little arachnid perched on my shoulder. It fixed its attention on a particular bush, looked at me one last time, and jumped. Very cool.

"The order Solifugae is a group of arachnids, containing around 900 species. The name derives from Latin, and means those that flee from the sun. The order is also known by the names Solpugida, Solpugides, Solpugae, Galeodea and Mycetophorae. Their common names include camel spider, wind scorpion, and sun spider.

Solifugae are not true spiders, which are from a different order, Araneae. Like scorpions and harvestmen, they belong to a distinct arachnid order."

OP's pic is not a spider.
one of it's names is camel spider, but it's more closely related to scorpions and ants.

Latin name is Solifugae.

While everyone (even arachnid-lovers) agree that solpugids are ugly as sin they are quite awesome creatures.

Spiders inject their prey with paralyzing poisons and/or build intricate webs to catch their prey.
Solpugids scoff at such faggy methods.

Solpugids use their superior speed to run their prey down and their muscular jaws to eviscerate it. No subtlety here just pure power.

Another thing that runs total counter of other arachnids are that they almost never sit still. They are always milling about at breakneck speeds for some reason or other.
They more or less live out their lives in a constant berserk state. It might be nasty and brief, but we are still envious.

Despite the godawful image quality, I'd guess that's a spiny orb weaver.

I had a tiny jumping spider (slightly less than one cm) live in my keyboard.
It came out through the key-spaces to forage, and would return some time later.
But now it isn't around anymore, so I might have crushed it typing something.
