So this guy likes to hang out in my backyard enjoying the flowers. It has this long hose-like snout thing that it unrolls and sticks into flowers and (I assume) sucks out nectar. Is that it's mouth? Anyone know?

I forgot what it was called, but I think most buttflies/moths have that apparatus for getting nectar.

It's a kind of hummingbird moth, I think the species is white-lined sphinx moth, though I'm not entirely sure.
