Hey /an/, I need a little advice.

I'm a long time rat-mama, (Got my first rat at about age seven.) And I currently have nine fuzzy cuddlies.

I just bought a (VERY) young hairless rat from some bigshot pet store. Female. I named her 'Mutt'. :3

My question:
Is it better to bathe hairless rats more frequently or less often then furred rats?

What I use normally for my rats is Johnson's Moisturizing Baby Wash, works for skin & hair/fur so product isn't a factor.

Can /an/ give me a clue? Along with any special care tips that are significant to keeping a hairless happy and healthy?

Pic very related, but not actually Mutt. Mutt is much more cute. :3

i've never owned one before, but i would bet that they tend to get dry skin and frequently need baths.
try google and see what you can find. there's all sorts of websites on how to care for them

I know for the case of hairless cats, more frequent bathing is required because oils that normally would be evacuated from the skin by hair build up over time. I would bathe it more often than your other rats, Hope that helps a bit.
