I saw this posted on /b/, what type of reptile or amphibian is this? I've never seen one before. By the appearance of its head it looks like it would like to spend a bit of time in wet sand?
Just been watching the post, apparently is a hammerhead ground lizard from South America, looking it up now.
it's an extinct creature that actually lived millions of years ago. this is a sculpture some dude made of it.
looks similar to those creatures from Pitch Black
>>99784heh, yeah. only good film with vin diesel.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DiplocaulusIs the extinct creature.
Yeah, it's a fake of an ancient salamander. No such thing as a "hammerhead lizard", either.
>>99785WRONG! Saving Private Ryan was excellent.
>>99926Not a salamander either but a lepospondyl. An amphibian though.
>>99931Saving Private Ryan is one of the worst movies ever made.
>>99974fail troll is fail!
star wars
>>99778that was proven to be a hoax. srsly.
>>99778it's an extinct species. that was a hoax. i think it was made out of wax.
>>99784Am I the only one who liked Chronicles of Riddick?Anyway, this dissapoints me. I knew I'd seen one in a dinosaur book as a kid, but I was hoping it was like a coelecanth (or however it's spelled) and not extinct.
