Hey guys.

I found a bunch of duckings near my pond and I decided to take them home to raise them. I built a small box for them in the garage. I've never taken care of any animals before. I put some bread in their box but they don't seem to be eating. Also how do I make them like me? All they do is stay in one corner when I come to the garage.

might want to soak the break in some water, don't feed tiny ducklings hard, dry bread.

If you hang around them long enough and feed them, they'll slowly become accustomed to you and less frightened, mind you, since they're feral born it will take longer than ducklings you hatched yourself or bought from a pet shop as they will be scared shitless AFTER YOU FORCEFULLY KIDNAPPED THEM AND TOOK THEM HOME.

If it' better find a way to keep the warm as they haven't grown all their feathers yet, considering the picture you provided. But being in a group like that, they'll probably be warm enough in a corner together.

If you want to let your ducklings out into your garden (because they should get exercise and forage for small green vegetation) you better watch out for predators, namely cats and crows that will snatch the ducklings from under your nose. Oh, and ducks do like a swim once in a while.

When they grow up, you can clip the sides of their wings so they can't fly away, or enclose them in a tiny cage whilst fattening them up, then you EAT THEM. If the ducklings turn out to be geese, you're going to have a ton of cleaning to do if you don't EAT (some of) THEM.

Do what this man says, with more emphasis on the eating. Duck is the most delicious of birds.

"Ducks do well on non-medicated pelleted mash as a staple, supplemented with fresh vegetable trimmings, chopped hard-boiled eggs, tomatoes, cracked corn (keep out of ponds if you have fish), garden snails (NOT if you use snail bait or pesticides), worms, night crawlers, bloodworms... They enjoy floating coy food occasionally."

Its illegal to take wild waterfowl as pets fyi.

Did you just find them in a box or did you have to chase the mother off as you picked off her young one by one?
