Help please ID this animal Anonymous
Ok, so I come home and right in front of my door is ...this.
I had no idea what it was so I just backed off a bit and snapped this pic. It saw me, but didn't seem to care, and eventually just sauntered off on it's own into some bushes.
So what is it, /an/? Is it posionous or vicious or what?

That's a domestic cat. It may be feral, but it can't do you any serious harm unless it's rapid. It's not poisonous -- as a general rule of thumb, furred animals are mammals and mammals aren't poisonous.

That is one fucking gorgeous cat.

except for the duck-billed platypus and the echidna, which have venomous spurs on their back legs, and shrews which have venom in their saliva. But unless you live in australia or are eight inches tall you're fine.

Very pretty kitty.

In after Satan,

That being said I wouldn't trust a strange cat and further than I could punt him. Cats don't just wander into new territory without trying to take it over, scratch stuff up, scent mark, whatever, and a cat scratch can be deadly.

That is the Death cat, he's come to keep you company in the last remaining hours of your life.
