I have this problem with my cat's litter

Its this all natural arm and hammer stuff that is all brown. It isnt normally dusty or anything, and it clumps very well. Anyways, I like using this litter because its all natural and I can flush it down the toilet, it breaks apart easily after it gets tossed into the toilet, and theres no harm to my septic tank.

The problem is that my cat seems to get it stuck in between his toes after he is done using it. It gets all over the floor and at night, he goes and does his business and then jumps on my bed, leaving traces of litter all over it, along with paw prints.

I tried getting one of those mats with the treads so when he comes right out of the box it falls into the mat, but theres still some risidual bits of litter that gets all over the hallway.

Can someone reccomend me a better mat or a better litter that is flushable and wont stick to my cat's toes? Something heavier so it stays in the box?

I think I might try and clean up one of my unused hallways and just leave the box at the end, with lots of mats in between to get to it and then to leave, so most of it can fall off before he gets to my bed.

What are your thoughts, /an/? enclosed is a picture of my cat, his name is Fatty.

I use the crystal litter and it only tracks a couple of metres away from the litter box. The main problem is my cats dig too vigorously and spray the litter all over the laundry floor -_-

I use a litter called Swheat Scoop. It is 100% wheat, clumps well and is flush-able. Unfortunately it also gets tracked out of the box so isn't much help. It is good litter though besides the tracking problem. I keep it at the end of a closet and open the door at the other end which helps some. I wish I had a solution to offer, but I don't.

My cat has that problem too, then I saw this box called the clevercat, what it essentially is is a medium-size rubbermaid tub with a lid, with a hole in the lid for the cat to jump in/out. Haven't had a problem since. Just use it without the lid for a week or so, then put the lid on and watch your cat to make sure he uses it. It's surprising how easily he adjusted.
