I know I posted this picture about three or four times before, but this time...I'm asking for consolation, or something to cheer me up...

my cat, Maxine, of six years, passed away due to an inoperable tumor pressing her kidneys against her other organs...

And I miss her so much already.

This was a horse I rescued in 2002. I never thought much of a cough he would get after working out. I thought it was just exhaustion because when he was not working he was fine and very spirited. He had a very dramatic life I think, for the 5 years that he lived. (Would have been 5 this may) He was in a farm, his mother taken away when he was 3 months old. (normally foals are weaned at 6 months) Sold to me, trained by me. Moved up north 1400 miles. Went through his first winter Cause TX has no winter lol. 30 is our lowest lows and he was getting use to -5 where we moved to. He was then sold as a show. then to new jersey almost went to a slaughter house then died in a hospital..... fun right?

Wow...your Kat is beautiful. <3 Does he have a reddish tint to his fur, too?

And your horse story is amazing. Though he had a terribly sad ending, you still tried to rescue him, and that's what matters. Maxine (the cat I had) was rescued as well, probably from an abusive home. Thank you for sharing your story.

I would have made the story longer. Like ad in the point. From New Jersey he was taken to PA for a sale barn. sold for about $400 the owner I first sold him to picked him up from there over night and brough him back. His heart was pounding at about 140 beats per minut. Normal is like 30-40 Temperature was fluxiating, he was in pain, had a stroke, and then died ;-;.. geez I miss him but I wasn't there to see him go. And yes, He is a blood bay. He didn't have papers. No background. Had a spirit of a hundred horses. He will be missed. And your cat was very beautiful as well. I have a thing for black cats with yellowish eyes. ^^ They are so pretty. And thank you ^^
