I have three cats, a rabbit, and recently got a dog. The cats are freaked out about the dog, and the dog is going nuts about the rabbit. How can I get the cats less tense, and the dog less excited? If you need more details just ask.

How long is the rabbit's penis?

first off, you take the dog across the river, leave him there, come back for the cat, take cat across river, trade with dog, take dog across the river, trade with rabbit, take rabbit across the river, then finally come back for the dog, cross the river one last time.
everything should be solved after that =)

When I had my rabbit my dog used to go mad after him, but eventually learnt he was not supposed to eat it and acted fine. We'd let our rabbit hop round the back garden for exercise (it was fenced in and concreted, so no chance of escape), when we noticed the dog wasn't around. Looked outside and he was licking the rabbit. Obviously he'd been doing it for a while and the poor thing was drenched in slobber. Maybe he was trying for a taste :p

This was the same dog that thought my guinea pig was a squeaky toy when we first had him...

Anyway, is your dog still a puppy? They tend to get excited over most things. Let the rabbit hop round the same room, but keep the dog in your arms or on a lead. Don't let it strain or try and go for the rabbit- repremand it if does, and praise it when doesn't go for it. Eventually it will learn that trying to eat the rabbit is bad.

As for the cats: well, they're just freaked out by the new thing. Give them time to get used to it. Make sure you still spend plenty of time with them though and stil give them treats, otherwise they'll see the dog as the reason you stopped giving them attention and resent it.
