My late, great German Shepherd.I had him for 14 years. Had to put him to sleep because he was in so much pain with hip dysplasia.I'm a man and I cried as they put him down. I dug him a good grave, wrapped him up in his blankets, placed him in a very large rubber container and buried him.If you have a dog, give it a hug. And when I say dog, I mean an actual dog. Not a tiny little breed.I miss him...
i had a german shepherd named wolfy when i was younger.we had to give him away because he bit our neighbor.
>>144779so did yur pa put em down or did you do the manly thing and it down yourself?
>>144782Nah, the neighbour is still alive.
>>And when I say dog, I mean an actual dog. Not a tiny little breed.Wow, way to put tasteless vitriol in an otherwise touching eulogy.
>>144930is either a cat-fag or small-dog asshat
>>144778ANIMAL KILLER! If you loved him you would never have murdered him like you did.
murder is reserved for ppl
>>145200German Shepard laughs at your logic!
I had to put my 14 going on 15 year old labrador/german shepard mix down this year because he had cancer. I cried.
>>145200All hail the Doggie Messiah!
His name is Taz.He is... let me think... almot 19 years old now.He still run and jump (well... not as much as when he was younger I think). Now he is with his real owner that wanted to be with him for his last moments (he has other dogs that don't like Taz, that's why my morther in law had him for many years).REALLY nice dog. But deaf. Not yet dead. Love him much :)
>>144778Don't worry, crying tears while putting down your old dog is the manly thing to do.
sorry to hear about that op, dont feel bad about the crying, I cried as well when my Great Pyrenees was put down due to cancer. She was a great dog.....
>>144930Exactly my thought. I dunno, I have a spaniel-sized dog who I love dearly, am I supposed to not hug him or love him less because he's small? Great logic.
It's never Lupus.
>>145773Lupus? Oh God, is it lupus?!
>>145773Sometimes it is.
Ugh, little dogs. If I can't smack it around to make sure it knows I'm alpha, I don't wanna touch it.Rottie/Shepherd mix. Think he's just as prone to hip dysplasia, OP? He's only 90 lbs.
>>144778why the rubber container?
Good point. Bodies need to be able to decompose like everything else. The dog's dead.
