>>250865 I'm not sure what you mean. Like I said... this is my third duck.. the first one died when it was young because of something unrelated, but it was fine swimming.. the second grew up fine and flew away, and I never like.. taught it to do anything. It loved water and swam ALL the time...
>>250915 I have a three acre yard and a pool, so it's ideal for raising a pet... indoor might be a bit rough.. but they are fun pets. They're a lot of work though, because with imprinting, they want to be with you CONSTANTLY, and they poop everywhere. I personally think those diaper things are really ridiculous, but I guess you could.. when they're young, they're going to follow you everywhere anyway, though as they get older, they become more independent. It's a fun pet to have, and definitely an adventure, but you're going to need time and energy to spare, and proper room.. because once they get older and start flying, having them inside would be a mess.
>>250916 A lot of farmer's markets and feed mills around here sell them. I bought this one from a little farm that sold chicks and ducklings.. they're quite cheap; usually $3-5.
Pic related; same one as in OP post.
