It's technically nature, I think, but how many of you Amerifags can see the planet that's unusually close to us? Southern sky from the East coast here. I think it's Mars, but I'm not sure.
It's pretty easy to spot. The last few months it has been pretty close and you should be able to notice it because of slight orange/red tint. I wish I could go there one day. :(
are you talking about the lunar eclipse?east coast here, and that's the moon.

As of this post, Mercury is around the same distance from Earth as Mars, if not a bit closer. Both are closer than Venus.
