After so many years, I went ahead and took charge into taking care of the orange tree, since no one else in the house knew how to take care of it, and it's finally begun to blossom.

I can't claim to be an expert gardener though. Does anyone here know a way to get rid of ants and other unwanted insects on the tree without scaring those that would stop the process of pollination?

Nasty looking critters.

It's interesting that I see green lacewings quite often, but I've never seen its larva.

2nding the biological control idea, especially if you want to eat the oranges. Ladybirds are particularly effective vs aphids.

Make sure whatever bugs you use have been imported from a faraway land. That way they'll overlap with the native insects and you'll have double the chance of success.

Okay, I'll try the Ladybugs, I just hope they aren't too expensive. Anyway, there's no problem in having too many Ladybugs is there? And do they get rid of ants?
