I think that's the same kid. The kid's been with the snake since he was born, and she's completely docile around him.

Is there some reason reason aside from an honest interest why girls keep redtail boas, ball pythons, and corn snakes? I'm not saying like an actual sexual thing. But maybe something like how some girls are about horses and dolphins?
