But if you want to argue against spaying and neutering and proper humane husbandry and care, kindly sit on your fingers until you have a grasp of the issue at hand. Your stance of "we shouldn't have meddled in the affairs of animals, and now that we have, we should just let this unnatural man-made process proceed on it's suffering, blundering, destructive course" is ridiculous. Spaying and neutering removes hormones and removes hormonal drives, meaning no breeding "instinct."
And no, I don't like euthanizing scores of animals every day... but someone has to. And I know that when I do it, I do it as quickly and painlessly as possible, always with a scratch behind the ears or a kiss on the nose as the spark fades from their eyes.
