Help me out /an Anonymous
i woke up with a whole bunch of bites on my fingers, all the way up to my knuckles, but nowhere past that. they're tiny bites with a little bump about the thickness of a sewing needle or smaller. in the right light you can see an almost translucent dot of pus underneath the skin. they're annoyingly itchy and come in small clumps, lines, or off by themselves. i don't think they're bedbugs or fleas because the bites are restricted to the fingers. i've heard of some type of bug that only bites the hands and face, but i can't find anything except on my fingers. so, what's biting me?

I had something like that recently, but a couple were on my arms too (but mostly contained to the fingers). They also weren't itchy, more like uncomfortable. A friend of mine is an EMT and told me he thinks they're flea bites.

Sounds like fire ants. I had the same thing, trail of translucent bumps along side of foot.
