Training my Bunny. Anon
Dear /an/

I bought a lop ear bunny a few days ago from a local pet store. He(She?) is doing well and loving her home. One question though:

How can I train him/her to drink out of a bottle?(with the little metal ball on the end, I don't know what there really called) instead of a dish? I heard of putting them near eachother, try squirting it at the rabbit, with no avail. any suggestions?

Pic related, its Thor, the said rabbit

those things are humid at the end, if you left the rabbit without water he'll find it sooner or later

put them beside each other.
if the rabbit picks the dish give it a firm punch.
if he choses the bottle, give him a carrot.

repeat until he learns

yeah, that is what my rabbit breeder told me to do, first I was like wtf. then I punched my rabbit.

Now he drinks out of the bottle and doesn't afraid of anything

Why do rabbits look so much like cats?

because they are both rodents

other bunny related question. somebody gave me this girl bunny. she looks lonely. is there any way I can tell if she's spayed? maybe she needs some bunny action, if you know what i mean.

also, how can I go about finding her other girl bunnies so she can have some friends? is there a bunny social network other than bunspace.com?

Please, take her to the vet and get her spayed. Two female bunnies with fight and hurt themselves very bad.
Don't breed her. Rabbits can have one litter a month with nine kits each! Get her a neutered male bunny as a companion. There are tons of rabbit rescues around and their bunnies are already neutered/spayed. Look for a rescue in your area.
Spaying your female will prevent uterine cancer among other things. There are enough pet bunnies that are abandoned. please rescue one.

Or 13, like mine had 2 weeks ago... It's ok, they all already have nice owners.
