I have a pet bearded dragon, and I agree with what everyone else said about bearded dragons making great pets. They're interactive, lively, spiky but cute, very docile, will sit on your shoulder and like (or at least they don't mind) being handled, are exotic and interesting but not vicious or hard to care for.
They need a lot of stuff, of course, especially is you want a plump, happy, and spoiled pet. Like, they eat a ton of a crickets and they should eat greens too (regular veggies like romain letture are fine.) And of course they need heat lamps and UV lights and big tanks and everything.
But if the OP already has experience with pet lizards, a bearded dragon should be really simple.
