A pigeon has made it's home on my apartment balcony, and I know I shouldn't encourage it to stay but there's one problem: it's lain eggs and hatched two baby pigeons (there's a third egg, but it's on the other side of the balcony, most likely dead). I found out that baby pigeons eat something called 'pigeon milk' that is produced by the mother (sort of like regurgitated foodstuffs) but I'm more worried about the diet of the mother since she seems to be doing her own scavenging, occasionally leaving the two babies in the cold. What exactly do pigeons eat?

I forgot to add that all I have right now is uncooked rice.

I like where this is going.

The wild pigeon knows how to feed her own kids. Leave it alone.

Leave an open heavy dish of pigeon food by your balcony for her. Various wild bird food, crumbled muffins, bread.

Check ur local wild bird store.

In different pet stores, you can buy special premixed sacks. A typical premixed sack weigh 50 pounds and consists of Canadian field peas, popcorn, milo, hard wheat, maple peas, oat groats, red millet, white millet, canary grass seeds, rice, and hemp seed.

Push the flying rats off the balcony, or alternatively enjoy your bird shit related illnesses.

Just go buy a sack of birdfood, dude. Something with as big a seed-range as possible. Add peanuts and crumble up brown bread. They usually just peck up junk from the gutter.

When the mother is gone, take some string and tie the youngs legs to the balkony. Leave some slack, but not so much that they can fly away once they are big.
Then eat them.

Buy a BB gun and pop the diseased little bags of shit in the head, then throw their bodies off the balcony. Then clean the area thoroughly.

I LOL'd but are you seriously suggesting eating on of these dirty, diseased and utterly disgusting creatures?

This makes no sense. How is a pigeon any "dirtier" or "diseased" than any other animal? And even if they were, that is what skinning and cooking is for!

Pigeons eat all sort of grains. The ones on my balcony feast on rice, sesame seeds, whatever. There's just one problem: they invite their friends.
Fuckin volatiles

I would.
heard they're tasty.

Uncooked rice swells in birds stomachs and kills them. Nice job killing birds.

Depends. Raw? Nope. Cooked? Sure thing. I have no idea if I'd like it or not, but I'd give it a try.

Here's a simple little fact for ya: Cooking kills germs.

Also, remember- pigeons are incredibly stupid.
