I had no idea how my hoya rope would flower. It did...and only once. Just this one damn cluster as pictured. The flowers were like velvet, though. 'twas nice.

Also, does anyone have one of these red/purple hibiscus plants? Where do you live? Mine didn't start blooming until fall and it seems all pooped out now. The flowers were amazing though, since they are a weird fleshy color the camera made too pink.

hoyas seem to do really well with tons of light - though not direct it seems, and a little bit pot bound. I've had hoyas for years, and the only time one did was when we let it climb all over the kitchen.. its probably like 20 feet now, and it flowers like crazy. It's also the oldest plant, like 70 or 80 years..

I want to move mine, and my GF says we should just replant it. I'm against this since the roots crawl over and into everything, and have sort of permeated and clung to the terracotta pot. I thing I'm just going to hammer the pot to loosen it and then put it in a bigger pot, pieces and all.
