off you go to the vet to check if he has a chip and for him to check his teeth for age.
My guess is six years.

I have full intentions on finding the owner and have been attempting to,I have filed reports with all "agencies" I could think of, Posted on the "lost and found" on craiglists ect.

It's been quite a few days now

He/She looks sad. Pics on telephone poles and in supermarket maybe?

It is by no means a sad dog, from what I see. Very Very playful just mellow when I took the picture.

That's good. Looks part Lab.

aww it's adorable.
I hope you find its owner. If not, will you keep it? Please do. It'd suck if it landed in wrong hands.

Take it to the humane society and have them scan for a chip.

Will any shelter do this?

If I can not find the owner in a resonable amount of time I will be keeping the dog,I would never allow it to go to a stranger that wanted it. Only a trusted friend or family member

The HS might not "release" the dog back to you since it's not yet your dog. Take it to a vet and ask for a free chip scan. Insist on keeping it if anyone tries to take it off you. It will just end up getting killed at the HS since it's older. You can call in the description to local shelters if you want, since the owner may have called them and given them their number.

Not a bad idea,I will try to give the shelters a call. I spaced that one.

Any more ideas on a possible breed other then "lab"

Haha, I asked my mom if she knew what it looked like, and she's getting her dog book out XD We're sure it's a lab mixed with something... anyway, she also says that if it's fixed, it's over a year old- if it's female, you can always feel the scar on their lower stomach. Do you know how much it weighs?

Aha! My mom agrees with me- it looks like a lab-boxer to me :)

I would have to guess around 50 LBS or so,Don't have a scale to find out

I'm thinking it's a lab/hound. Probably fairly young.

Op Here.

Think I might have to agree with the Black Mouth Cur

If you see the dog from differant angles during the day you would have to agree.
