Visitors coming over, seeing my retarded black cat and going WOW HE'S SO FRIENDLY. So what do they do when they see my little girl cat? Run at her and try to sieze the poor thing. Then complain about the scratches and how antisocial she is. She's a proper solitary cat, you dickwads, and the black one is like a dog in a cat's body.

I'm trying to teach the new Maine Coon kitten to NOT scratch and bite people, so I tell everyone NOT to use their hands to play with her. Use your hands to pet her and stuff, and use her toys and sting to play with her. What do they do five minutes later? Mess with the kitten with their hands to get her to use her teeth and claws. wtf. It may not hurt now, but when she's bigger, she'll be able to cause some damage like my other cat who's fully grown and KILLS MY HANDS AND ARMS when she thinks I'm trying to play with her belly.

The kittens claws are starting to grow back in and be sharp (they were trimmed before we got her) and she can bite a lot harder now, and all the retards that insist on getting her to attack their hands are now getting scratched up and bitten very badly and have decided that they don't like it. Duh. I'm very annoyed with those dickbrains for teaching her to bite and scratch our hands. Fortunately, the kitten seems to have learned that I don't like it when she attacks me, so she mostly fucks up other people.

I have the same problem with teaching my dog certain things. I'm trying to stop her from jumping on people and mouthing when she plays (she doesn't know how rough she can get yet). I've told everybody in my family and everyone who visits to ignore her when they first get in the door until she calms down and to turn away from her if she jumps, but instead, everyone greets her with hugs and a high-pitched voice that gets her even more excited.
What's even worse is that people insist on rough housing with her even though I've stated many times that we need to be careful how we play with her or she's just going to be encouraged to bite, paw and jump. My boyfriend and aunt are the worst offenders and I'm beginning to think I should just beat it into them.

I say "psst!" and then ignore her for a while after she bites or scratches me, so she hardly ever does it anymore, and if she does, she looks at me with big eyes and quickly licks the area as if saying "oops, sorry :("

She is really smart. A little too smart. Enough to be annoying. She knows how to open all the doors in the house (accept the heavy ones that lead outside, thankfully) she plays fetch, but whenever I toss something into the garbage, she wants to fetch it. :( I keep her out of my bedroom because there's too many little things in there that are the right size for her to pick up (she likes to move things around and hide them) but she's learned how to perfectly mimic the way my adult cat scratches at the door, so I open the door thinking it's her, when the kitten runs in and hides in a tight spot that I can't get her out from. She waits 'till I'm distracted, grabs something (like a sock or a tube of chap-stick) and runs out of the room to play with the item in another part of the house.

I also hate it when my adult cat starts scratching up the side of the couch, so I "pss pss pssst!" at her and she stops, but then she goes behind the couch, out of my sight, and starts scratching the couch again. AS IF I DON'T KNOW WHAT SHE'S DOING. So I pull the couch away from the wall and stare her down until she leaves and she looks at me like: "O_O wtf, how did you know?!"
