>>318431 It ain't pretty. English hunting has always seemed silly to me, an American dove and deer hunter. There's no real sport in siccing dogs on a fox or getting dogs or servants to flush out thickets so you can shoot anything that comes out. Sure, we use lures and bait here in the same way a fisherman might, but when it comes down to it it's you, the gun/bow, and the prey. Except in those hunting lodges where rich folks pay 20 grand to pretend to hunt in a paddock and are guaranteed a trophy buck that's been selectively bred for its antlers.
