Got 2 pet rats. They stay in here, and it gets to be pretty hot in here. Don't know the exact temperature, but i'd guess its somewhere between 70-85 degrees fahrenheit (colder during the colder seasons, of course...). What temperature range is safe for them? Could they get sick from that kind of heat?

The internal body temperature of a rat is higher than that of a human. You should also note that they're endothermic and thus, like most animals, are far less sensitive to temperature than reptiles or amphibians. They're fine at room temperature.

If it gets to the point where you're uncomfortable (like during an ungodly hot heat wave) then you should worry about cooling them down. Misting them, cooling them with a fan, or just moving them to a cooler place works fine. Their needs are by and large the same as yours.
