why dose my cat get so affectionate when i sing?! shes a sweet cat, but not like when im singing. she rubs my face and makes little "purr-meows" and just sets up a big fuss over me! WHY DOSE SHE DO THIS?!?!?!!?!?!

not quite wrong but not quite right. cats will purr when they are in pain, giving birth, or more commonly when they are happy, it is a way for them to draw attention to themselves and therefore get what they need/want from other cats as well as humans.

My old cat would do this. She was the most crotchety thing EVER, but when I sang, she freaked out and got all lovey-dovey.

its weird! i mean my cat is far from crotchity... shes very sweet, but she just cant get close enough to me!
