is it possible to train a cat to use the toilet?

my cat is pretty smart I guess, she was potty trained the moment she came into the house.

I've read lots of good ways to do this.
There was this one video on youtube that was so easy to do and seemed to work. Ill try and explain.

you move the litter box into the bathroom, leave it there for a few days so the cat is familiar with pooing in the bathroom, then get a box and put it directly infront of the toilet, and put the litter box on top of it. every few days add another box so the litter box is getting higher and higher. And your cat has to climb higher to reach it.

when its up to level with the toilet, put the litter box ontop of the toilet lid, closed of course. leave it for a few days so the cat knows he has to get ontop to do his buisness, then move the litter tray inside a container and put it INSIDE the toilet bowl, leave for a few days, then remove the litter box entirely.

so, now, the cat should get used to doing his crap on the toilet.

I have NO IDEA about flushing though xD

I know a few people who have done this and it's worked for. No idea how they got their cats to flush though.

I dont see any point in teaching a cat to flush anyway. when you need to go, you can flush it. making the cat flush is a bit much.
