Conservation of Flowers Anonymous
I need to purchase a flower a day before I deliver it to a girl, how do I conserve it so that it will retain it's general freshness?

Do I put it into water, into the fridge? Does it need light/no light?

keep it in your pants

Keep it in the fridge.

Protect it from smelly foods.

Trim the bottom 1/2 inch off the stem in a clean, oblique cut with the sharpest knife you have, put it in an inch of water in a glass in the fridge.

lemonade is the best thing ( sugared water if u not got any) will keep it in good shape.

when you cut the bottom cut it at an angle, anywhere from 30-60 degrees is fine

Cut the flower in water too. What I mean is submerge the stem in water, then cut it at an angle. A little bit of bleach in the water will also preserve the flower, just make sure you don't put in too much. If you don't want to use bleach, if you can get ahold of someone's birth control pill, crush it up and dissolve it in the water that you'll be putting the flower in.
