My yard has yellowjackets, and you guys are probably the best ones to ask about this. Yellowjackets. How do I kill 'em? They keep coming out of a hole in the ground, and they attack EVERYTHING that gets close, making it damn near impossible to mow that part of the yard. What's the easiest way to wipe these spiteful beasties off the map?

go to lowes, home depot, wal-mart etc...go to the lawn and gardening section, get some wasp and hornet killer.

This stuff can shoot about 20 feet, so you can just stnad back and spray them....if it touches them, they are dead instantly...I just did this with a red wasp nest on Monday

wasps are strongly attracted to anal lube. lube up your asshole and lie spread eagle in your yard. when a wasp lands on your asshole, clench it with all your might. repeat.

These ones live underground, with the entrance (a hole about the size of a quarter) being the only exposed part of the nest. Could I stick the nozzle in that hole and pump the nest full of poison?

Better yet, pump it with gasoline and light it.

You don't want to get that close. Just stand back and spray the entrance to the nest, making sure to cover the hole and put a good coating on the immediate area. Do this at night or very early morning so that they are all in the nest and not active. As long as you soak the nest, it will kill them all.

take a small shovel and make the entrance to the nest larger. make sure you do this in the middle of the day. cut your arm several times, using a razor blade. spray your cut arm completely with Raid and stick your arm down the hole. they will think it's nectar and will want to get onto your arm and lick the nectar off. wiggle your fingers too.... they may try and play with them.

Put a wasp there with one of the yellowjackets and watch it bitch-slap her in the face. :D

Jesus christ, the most obivous answer here is lighter fluid + FIRE. Fill that fucking hole with whole can of fluid and watch them burn and blow up. I did this other day with my friends while enjoying some beer. The scray part was though few were still flying around for a good minute or so while they were on fire. SHIT WAS AWESOME.

Agreed with most of the above, there have foaming style wasp killer, I would use that. Be careful though, the stuff is really nasty if it gets on you, and it will kill any grass it touches.
