Sup /an/

I'm thinking of getting a betta again. I used to really like keeping them, had about five at one point in time. After moving a couple of times, I stopped getting any more and they eventually died of old age. My question to all the fishfags out there: I work and odd schedule which means I wake up in the morning, spend three to five hours at home, go to work, then get off at midnight, come home and spend about three hours awake at home. Would it hurt my betta if I schedule his light timer around when I'm home? There'd be a good eight to nine hours in the afternoon/night when the light would be out, then come on for three hours from twelve to three AM, then go off for eight hours while I'm sleeping, then come on for another five while I'm awake in the morning at home.

tl;dr : Would it hurt my betta to split up his light timer. On for most of the morning, and then off until midnight, then on for three hours, then off until morning?

Pic related, it's my very first betta.

Might cause it to stress a little but i doubt it would kill it

he won't care, and it'll save you peak time electricity too

Don't put him in Ramune instead of water.

just get a thick black peice of cloth to put over the bowl when you're up real early or up real late.

Good eye there. It was actually next to the tank at the time. Just one bottle but the hex shape makes it look like two.
