I dunno how well this would work with a semi-wild rabbit but uh
I had a rabbit who you could almost always get to follow you if you took a few steps away from him, then paused and looked over your shoulder at him.. a few steps more, pause, look over your shoulder, repeat. I read about it somewhere and it worked for me so uh, yeah. Apparently, that's rabbit talk for hey, follow me!
Maybe after a few days of getting used to your presence in the yard, the rabbit would be inclined to follow. They're social beasts, after all. Mebbe you could offer some greens too, parsley and cilantro bunches are super cheap and rabbits love them.
