I'll forgive the grammatical error because Poms are the best thing in the whole damn world.

Another one. He was rescued from a puppy mill (they were raided and shut down by the state) when he about two, and as far as we know this was his first experience with snow. He didn't like how deep it was, but was more interested in the camera's clicking noise when it takes a photo. His tail only curls properly when he's happy or excited, so that's why it's hanging funny in these pics.

I have never in my life seen a well behaved (read: doesn't constantly yap) Pomeranian, though I suspect this has more to do with the personality of the people who own them.

Do they all wheeze like they're dying constantly? I knew one lady that had one that did this for attention. It really made you want to put the poor thing out of its misery. She kept keeping it alive through perverse sciences before it turned into this zombie-like abomination.

mine barks, but i'm not afraid to scold her about it, so she barks a great percentage less than most poms. i've never hit her, and her worst punishment is me using a deep angry voice towards her, she knows she's done something wrong if i use it

poms are really independant for a toy breed, so it's easy for them to take advantage of their owners, and most pom owners allow themselves to be taken advantage of because they think everything their dog does is "cute." it's a lot like when parents think it's cute when their baby grabs something out of a strangers hand and giggles, but the stranger just wants to drop kick the baby...

it's not complicated science, people just need to be more responsible about their pets.

Neither of mine are yappy either, their barking is pretty much isolated to the doorbell ringing and while I'm fixing their dinner. They'll also promptly quiet down if I scold them about it.

i think people just isolate pom ownership to old ladies who can't control them, or rich people who don't care

they're a great breed though, i love mine to death

All small breeds are equally shit and shouldn't be allowed to live.

Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life.

Can you give it to them, Frodo?

A pomeranian looks like a mockery of a wolf.

I'd approve of feeding a Pom to my Giant Schnauzer and/or Rottie, so Poms are win.

Wouldn't it be redundant for pom owners to come out of the closet? Everyone already knows...

My pomeranian is really well behaved. He doesn't yap often and shuts up when you tell him to, sleeps in the windowsill all day, doesn't beg for food and will jump in the pool and swim when the family's out there.

But my grandma has a pom who's senile as a boat, can't hear a thing and can't see three feet in front of her. She barks at the sofa sometimes.

Mine isn't yappy. He gives the initial bark and comes to get me. If I'm not interested he drops it. He does a multitude of tricks, obeys just as much as a big dog.
Smart little shit too. He's taken to herding. Midget dog herding Midget chickens...
He doesn't wheeze. Actually, he's an easy to keep dog. I was told I'd need to groom him a lot. He hates being brushed, so he doesn't get it often. I occassionally cut a knot off. But way less than my mother's annoying ass yorkie or her shih tzu.

I've known two very well-behaved poms, and they were great, especially for toy breeds. But yeah, both of them wheezed.

I agree that it probably comes down to the people who own them, not the dogs themselves. The two aforementioned dogs were very intelligent, but they weren't given the run of the house. Result: Better life for everyone.
