Hey /an/on I need your opinion, should I adopt a 1 month old female pitbull ? If not she'll probably go to a shelter. Anyway I alredy have a dog, an Epagneul Breton 3 years old.
Pic somewhat realted.

Unless you've spent time thinking about getting another dog and have adequate money, no.

Seriously, do you know how many pitbulls go into shelters each day?

If you have the means and the resources, and she gets along well with other dogs (which means yours), then go for it.

Animals are kinda like potato chips. You can never have just one. :3

Except for responsible people who know they only have money to support one animal.

Question is do you have the money and patience to raise a pit bull? I've personally have never raised one but they're supposedly a bit harder to train and such? If you do get her, socialize her a much as possible, and get her well trained so we don't see her on the nightly news please.

Also, If you don't mind my asking what happened to her/her mother that you'd be adopting her when shes only a month old?

What sort of sick fuck lets a dog be adopted at 1 month old?!?

more misconceptions and exaggerations about pit bulls. if anything they are more loyal and obedient than most breeds.

it's the fucking owner, not the dog, fucking shitheads

>>231186here. I'm sorry you misunderstood my meaning that wasn't what I was implying. then again it's easily its easy to see how, I typed that poorly

Any dog can live happily in a home, but if the owner isn't experienced enough to take care of that dogs specific needs then the dogs can turn violent. Same principle goes for all dogs and not just pit bulls.

Only reason I mentioned the news thing was because for some odd reason or another the media likes to pick out pit bulls and dogs that look similar, often ignoring when another dog breed does the same.

I personally love pit bulls, Everyone I've met was very affectionate, if not overly so. So again I apologize if I sounded like one of those "OMG PITBULLZ ARE TEH EBIL!!!111" People.

and if you can take care of 1 month old dog and you have time and money (and patience) to take care of 2 dogs, take her.
Just remember that she is still so young! She will still need mothers milk, so you have to buy that thing from the shop (or at vets, dunno where you can buy it) and feed that to the dog for some time.

Also, if the bullie is with your other dog from such a young age, I dont think she will have any problems with that dog. But also remember that you must socialize her alot!
My brother has a bullie mix, and she comes along well with the familys other dogs, but she doesnt quite accept other dogs. It always takes few days or maybe even few weeks to accept other dogs. But after she accepts them, she is the nicest dog with them.

And also, even tho people say bullies are aggressive, they arent. Like my brothers bullie, is the opposite. She is afraid of everything and loves everyone.
Just raise your bullies well, and they'll be the nicest dogs ever!

For example, watch the videos of this bullie:

That hideous pig beast in OPs picture is such a corruption of what a pit bull should be. Only nigger dog fighters want their dogs looking like retarded, squat legged idiots.
