Post an animal's skeleton and we've got to guess what it is.
>>Dinosaur_skeleton_Monaco.jpg
Liopleurodon?I'm a biologist, let's see if that counts for anything....
You guys are fucking retarded. it's a whale.
PS- Go back to little biologist's school.terrible.
Notice, no teeth.DON'T LOOK A GIFT WHALE IN THE BALEEN!!
Im gonna say Blue whale
>>299021Didn't count.
that looks like a baleen whale skeleton, contrary to the pic name. And if it IS the Monaco Oceanographic Museum (and the architecture implies it is), that is a skeleton they didn't have the last time I was there.
Ok so wtf is it OP
>>299051>BALEEN!!BALEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN
Well, a baleen whale.Narrow long jaw, so not bowhead or anything like that.Flippers are smaller than I would expect but since it has kind of a hump on it's back I am going to say humpback.
Yes yes, it's a baleen whale. Correct.
I can't tell a blue whale skeleton from a fin whale whale skeleton, especially when there is nothing to reveal the scale. Which one is this?
you sure? this looks like a neopluridon too me.
>>299324That's because you've abused drugs. Sane sober people know there is no such thing as pluridon, much less a neopluridon.
Minke whale? Is this a photo of the Peabody Museum?
>>299974You might not want to include the name of the species in the photo you post in the Guess the Skeleton Thread. But thanks for trying anyhow.
>>299180I think that's a Camarasaurus, or at least some kind of Sauropod.>>299974cat>>299974
>>299180Damn, I'm not sauropod-savvy enough to recongize a skull from this perspective with any certainty. I guess I'm going to have to go with Camarasaurus too.
>>300166I'm pretty sure that's a cave bear (Ursus spealeus). It's obviously an old skeleton and the proportions match.
>>299018i am nearly postive that's from the harvard museum of natural history. i used to go there all the time as a kid. the skelaton actually had baleen back then though, so i can't be sure...
>>300218A cleft-footed animal of some sort. Probably a deer. Or maybe an okapi?
>>300218An elk?
>>299018
>>300302Dog.
>>300302vieled chamelon skeleton, male
>>300321killer whale

>>300166a bear. note the plantigrade legs
Dman it its a damned shooped cuttlefish
No one will be able to guess this.
>>300455Sea Cow, Dugong or Manatee.
>>300321I swear Killer Whales have the most awesome skulls.
>>300462You bastard you're close, but no cigar. You'll never get it.
>>300483stellars sea cow
>>300490god damn it
>>300514lol pwnt

>>301293Capybura?
>>301294nope.
>>301293Wombat?
>>299021>>He's a whale biologist, better listen to what he says.
>>301354nope
>>301293It looks like some sort of freakish lagomorph that's been put together all wrong. It might be a hyrax though, the skull seems right, as do the general proportions.Next time, a bigger pic, please.
>>301370you're right, it is a hyrax. i cbf searching through google images for a better picture.
>>301293tasmanian devil?
hahaha
>>299648i think you feel a lot like this
>>301893Rhinoceros.
>>301893That might be a Teleoceras. I don't think any other rhino has such short legs.
>>301950echidna?
Guess what's inside of this exoskeleton.
>>302147Sweet mother of god, get the shotguns
>>302147Rosie Odonell
>>302147In all seriousness, isn't that a coconut crab?
>>302174no, its the coconut crabs good for nothing cousin garbage crab
>>302147I want one.
>>302174Correct, sir.
>>302344Lemur?
>>302350Could somebody please permaban this "save as 4chan.hta" retard?
>>299684i think you feel a lot like this
>>302344flying lemur!
Hey guys, can you identify this spider for me? it' shuge and is protecting this garden from harmful bugs.
how about this fella?
>>302405Easy, that's a Pacman.
i put this together for my domestic animal anatomy class. pretty easy to guess...i assume.
>>302493
>>302406Oh, you got me there.
>>302493That one is not real. That's an artist's CG work of a fictional animal, it has been posted many times on 4chan. I think that maybe it was supposed to be Tom from Tom & Jerry?
>>302540Yeah, there was a thread of cartoon animal skeletons a while back.
>>302176lol
this thread has an enraging lack of answers
>>302496pig?
>>302540Not CG. Those bones are real... or rather they are real objects but not real bone. Pic very related.
>>299018grinmanI'm a biologist, let's see if that counts for anything....
>>303758McDuck's nephews?
>>303758Cute, are there any more?
>>303924Well, I have Donald Duck...
>>303927And Bugs Bunny. There are other skeletons made by the same artist, but I don't have pics of all of them.
