These guys invade Europe at the moment.Scientists don't know what exact species they are or where they come from.
They flock together in "colonies" and if threatened begin to move their bodies up and down, creating a pulsating carpet.
Completely harmless to humans though.
>>249265Since when were Harvestmen dangerous at all?
>>HarvestmenThat's a scary name
>These guys invade Europe at the moment.haven't seen them :/ where do they infade europe?

What, those things? I've seen a few solitary ones outside my house.Freaking creepy.
They look like daddy longlegs. Nothing new.
I haven't seen one recently, but those mobs must be interesting to watch.

I'm sure these are just harvestmen (or daddy longlegs)There used to be tons of them nesting outside my primary school
>>249535I see your confusion. "Daddy longlegs" is also a common name for the Crane fly, which does have wings and looks like a giant mosquito. The other posters are talking about spider looking guys like in the picture.
Looks like a big fuzzy bunch, would love to see some!
used to live in the southern US, those things would mass the door to my basement, but they were totally harmless...kinda like land brittle-stars really
>>249264I was walking through the mountains near me one day, and I stopped to rest on a rock. As soon as I sat down, I noticed that the ground was COVERED in daddy long legs and they were all vibrating.i lol'd and left.
So, wait, are they arachnids or insects?
>>249753arachnids. but no real spiders
Star candy for the soot sprites
