Hey /an/, i was just playing with my dog and i picked her up and layed on the couch and I guess I hurt her leg somehow and she bit the crap out of my face. I have 2 small gashes, not too bad but I got so mad at her. I yelled at her and am generally in an angry mood. What should I do to prevent her from biting me another time if this happens? It's the first time she's EVER bit me.

Pic Related: it's her.

Show her who's boss by sticking your penis in her vagina.

If she's arthritic get her treatment so she won't think you're trying to kill her and react in self-defense.

be more careful when picking the dog up then. and go get some stitches.

She probably bit you to try and get away. Some dogs are very particular about being picked up, and if you did hurt her leg then that gives her all the more reason to want to escape.

Don't remain angry at her. Collies are very sensitive, and you don't want her to become a fear biter.

She's perfectly healthy, I guess i accidentally crushed her leg somehow and she got pissed off. You're right about the self defense but I just was mad that she actually bit me in the face. I don't think this will happen again though since she saw how angry I got. She's been really submissive since it happened.

True. She's sleeping right behind me right now. I don't want her to be scared but I just want her to realize that biting me was wrong.

I am always careful but it was an accident. My face is fine btw. Doesn't need stitches.
