What does /an/ think of shows like Jurassic Fight Club and Animal Face-Off? Which do you prefer?

Jurassic Fight Club makes up all sorts of unfounded, undocumented claims, often errs on the side of the least popular theories (i.e. Nanotyrannus is a separate genus and not just a juvenile T.rex), and STILL refuses to depict dromaeosaurs with feathers.

And yet it's still VASTLY superior to the immense, disgustingly moronic trainwreck that was Animal Face-Off. Better animation, better justification for the garbage they say (even if it's just replaced with slightly less spectacularly stupid garbage), and they don't have that shit with the scientists trying (and failing) to trash talk each other.

Jurassic Fight Club wins. It's not great (and as far as episodes like T.rex vs. Nanotyrannus go, not even good), but it still kicks the shit out of Animal Face-Off because that's just an endless abyss of pure shit.

The fact that Jurassic Fight Club has an episode all about pimping Albertosaurus helps. Pic related.

It pisses me off when I see featherless raptors.

Jurassic Fight club sucks hard. I don't get it. There's plenty of professional paleontologists being interviewed in the show, and they didn't think of checking their "facts" with them? At least they should admit when they are speculating. Some of the dinosaur models are out of date even by 1990's standards, especially all the raptors, and sometimes contain blatant errors. And don't get me started with "Dinosaur George"...

So when exactly was it proven that ALL raptors had feathers again? Oh it wasn't? Carry on.

It's kind of blurry, but this is a screenshot from the Leopard vs Gorilla episode of Animal Face-Off.

Yes, the gorilla delivers the killing blow via karate chop.

Yeah, just like we don't have proof all felines had hair. Enjoy your scaly Smilodon.

That would be pretty cool.
