Nudibranchs are just too cute. Too bad they're mostly only a few millimeters long and are toxic.

Sorry, there are hundreds of species of nudibranch and I don't know all of them.
http://www.nudibranch.com.au/colour_white.htm try looking at the pictures there (they seem to be not working for me right now, don't know wtf is up with that).

Probably 'cuz we killed em all off.

My pet store sells these in the salt water department. They look like they have lacy fringes of colorful skin and are like an inch long. Sea slugs are awesome.

Very difficult to keep animals. Like Octopodes, they are susceptible to copper. Even traces of copper will destroy them.

You're lucky I love you.

Sauce is http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/2008/06/nudibranchs/doubilet-photography
and I'm pretty sure the species is Chromodoris leopardus ( http://www.seaslugforum.net/factsheet.cfm?base=chroleop )
I spent an hour looking at these fucking things and I am sick of nudibranches. WHY are there THIRTY in the same fucking family that have purple at the edges, but most go purple-black-white-yellow instead of purple-white-yellow?! goddamn. Glaucus atlanticus ftw
