Toilet train a cat. Or get a snake.

Actually, a pig doesn't smell. Or shed. Or have fleas, on account of their thick hog skin.

Pig pig pig. I heard they get really big, however. I wonder if there are any local laws against owning one? Never had any experience with pigs.

I have a cat that doesn't smell. She mostly pees and poops outside, so that's mostly a non-issue too (obviously the cat toilet has to be cleaned from time to time, but even that doesn't smell if cleaned often enough).

If they managed to breed a pig with paws instead of hooves, I'd get one.

Get a pet rock, you olfactory princess on the pea.

(I would feel very uncomfortable to sit on that toilet...)

I hate pet rocks. Mine ran away from me the first time I left the front door open. It hit a car and I ended up having to pay for the repairs.

Yeah well paper is far more expensive and temperamental than rocks. I gave my pet paper away after it shredded all over my carpet the fifth time.

My cat pees and poops outside, too (unless she has to stay in for some reason, then she pees and poops in her litter box...or on the sides of it -_-), and she still has that wet cat smell. She grooms almost constantly, too.

It SHREDDED on your carpet? It sounds like a pair of scissors got near it and they had a bit of a fight. They really really don't get along. Paper is best kept in a pack environment, so yea it can get a bit expensive.

Sounds like you shouldn't have any pets though, if you can't even take care of easy pets like rocks and papers.

I don't really even know what "that wet cat smell" is like. Even when wet my cat doesn't really smell. (I know what the wet dog smell is like, though... eww.) I've been around other cats, some of which do smell unpleasant, so it must be an individual thing.

Of course not. My roommate took over pet care duties after the rock incident. He said he was tired of all the complaints he received from the neighbors.

I suppose it's better that way.

All furry animals smell when wet, some just stink worse than others. It's relative, because after a person is surrounded an unusual or strong smell for a while they just register it at "normal" and ignore it as part of their non-threatening surroundings. What is nasty to some people is completely unheeded by others.

I've been around cats that have smelled, but it later turned out they were either very sick or had bad teeth. I'm sure there are other cases, those are just the ones I've been around myself.

If you get them from a reputable breeder, they should only get 70-100lbs at most. If you get one from a disreputable breeder or a farmer you may well end up with a hog that weighs three times as much as you do.

That's when they're the tastiest. Pets get fed well...
