Listen up, you underage faggots. You're about to get a lesson in female society. Watch closely, you may just learn something.
Nine times out of ten, women aren't dressing for men. They're dressing for other women.
Yes, that's right, you're not the object of their attention. Live with it. In the company of men social status is determined largely by achievement. In the company of women, achievement generally comes second to looks. A woman is conditioned from the day she is born to be concerned for her looks, that everyone is judging her by her looks. In some professional areas, makeup is considered part of attire; it's one of the many reasons I got the hell out of admin, because the constant pressure on appearances and constant striving for social status was driving me insane. NOT wearing makeup, especially, for example, the higher class of receptionist of secretary, will result in deep shit. Even if one is not expected wear makeup every day it's expected that they wear it on occasion; job interviews, for example, if you're not at least wearing lipstick it's like showing up in a crappy shirt. Even if you're interviewing for 'dirty' jobs and you're expected to spend the day in men's clothing, covered in oil and coal tar (I love the mining industry) if you're in a formal meeting you're expected to dress formally. Formal dress for a woman means makeup and an itchy face.
