My cat Daisy gave birth to a kitten out in the hallway. We found the kitten alone in the hallway, and Daisy in my sister's closet. We put the kitten in a cardboard box, and put the box in his momma's closet, and shut the door. We don't know what's going to happen next.

We have one other cat than Daisy, but he's neutered. So we think that our cat got fucked by some neighbor cat or something.

Is there anything we can do?

Pic unrelated.

OP here.

How old should the kitten be before we give him away?

one single kitten?
weird.
but you shouldn't put it in with "mom". you should go get kitten formula and a syringe (without a needle obviously) and feed it. it will take a lot of work. google that shit.

also this is what you get for not spaying your cat.

OP here.

We've got Daisy and her kitten in my sister's room, out of the closet. We think she's going to have more soon. We called a friend with a lot of cats, and she said that the reason Daisy left the kitten out in the hall was to let us know what was happening.

Thanks for all your help, especially>>235083

if the labor seems pained or takes too long I would take her to a vet immediately. things can go bad..
