If Hitler had vowed to exterminate spiders instead of Jews, I would have supported his Der Fuhrer.

There we are, OP.
That is the right idea, right there

a bit rash aren't we? you support the idea of removing a key member of the eco system?

To be honest, I am not a fan of spiders, but wiping them off the earth would do dreadful things to the enviroment

Spiders are an important part of all ecosystems in which they exist.

Not to be a racist bastard, but Jews are people and people in general suck. I don't see YOU spinning silk out YOUR anus, now do I?

People in general do suck, but torture like the torture in Auschwitz is something not okay for any person. Unless they have committed a murder or rape, or something.

Auschwitz should have spread the charred ashes of a million-billion spiders over the earths of Europe. And all would have been well with the world.

On a related topic:

I read a while ago here on /an/ that pandas serve no purpose in the ecosystem in any way - apart from being awesome looking

Is this true? y/n

Or was some anti-panda fag being an anti-panda fag?

Pandas serve a vital role in their ecosystem by starting wars and controlling the media.

I don't get it.

But spiders aren't parasitic vermin that's after your possessions :(

"Once when I was walking through my halls, I suddenly came across an insectoid baring eight tidy legs crawling slowly up the wall. My first thought was, Is that a Spider? In Linz they did not look like that. I watched the arachnid stealthily and cautiously, but the longer I stared at the strange countenance and studied it feature by feature, the more the question in a different form turned in my brain: Is that a German?"

then we will CHANGE the eco system~

FOR THE BETTER!

True. They can;t survive on their own.If not for us, they'd be extinct.

They eat the ants in my house. Sometimes I try to throw them into their webs.
>> Anonymous
>>140971
That's not what I asked, I was asking if they truly serve no purpose in the ecosystem - even if it's something minimal, like keeping... babooz short or some shit.
>> Anonymous
>>140974

I've only ever seen ants eat a spider. They zerg rush any spider that wanders into their alarm scents.

So that's another good reason to kill spiders -- they feed those motherfucking, pain in the ass ants.

Maby you should go to auschwitz !
spider are important for nature , you not !

if not for us cutting down their bamboo forests and turning them into rice paddies, they'd survive just fine. Pandas eat tremendous amounts of bamboo, and because bamboo plants are highly invasive and does not readily decompose upon death, swathes of nothing-but-bamboo forests would be all too prevalent without pandas.

Except that we can manage cutting down all bamboo forests ourselves.

If our house wasn't infested with spiders, it'd be infested with mosquitoes.

SPIDARS STAY, KTHNX.

OP here.

I let those big giant mosquito-eaters live freely in my house (provided there aren't too many of them... 3 tops), even if their legs have the same general creepiness that spiders' legs have. I'm pretty sure these things, along with eating mosquitos, also hunt spiders.

This is why we need to genetically engineer a Uranus Spider Trap

I hope you're not referring to Crane Flies, most of them don't have functioning mouthparts, and the ones that do eat nectar.

Panda's are not fully adapted to their style of life. Their teeth are those of a meat eater and so is their stomach.

They barely get any nutrition from the bamboo they eat. That's why they eat all day long.

Should we rescue such a creature that really isn't adapted to its environment? That's an interesting question to think about.
>> Anonymous
>>141051

Look, I've seen many whitey idiots who planted bamboo and found out they were very invasive. You've seen how tall bamboo gets, right? They grow to that length and girth within half a year, and produce about 30-40 shoots at the base once mature. Humans just aren't good at eradicating invasive plants: look at kudzu.

>>141541

And because they eat all day long, they help thin out the bamboo forests.

None of the creatures on Earth today can be considered to be fully adapted; they are changing as the environment is changing. So what are you gonna do, cull the different animals in proportion to how well you determine them to be adapted to the environment? Well that's fucking goodbye to the tree kangaroos and humans for a start. I suggest you start with yourself.
