Do you faggots do any research at all before declaring something a shoop?
>> Anonymous
I seen this on the news last night, that shit is creepy as hell.
>> Anonymous
>>342906
oh noes!!! i didn't do my research!!!

gtfo, you sound like my english teacher lol
>> Anonymous
Again? One of these seems to be born every few years. I hope this tiny guy lives. Not all of the twofaced kittens survive, but the ones that do tend to live healthy lives, although with some difficulties (especially if the middle eye hasn't developed properly).

the cat with two heads..... of terror!

(errr.... faces, rather)

Which would be what?
>> Anonymous

Get back to /b/, you stupid fuck.

Also, this board could use some more unfortunate mutations, like that kitten born with cyclopia.

Nah, it's still just one head with two faces.
>> Anonymous
Do both heads function?
>> Anonymous
>>343408
They aren't heads. They're faces. This sort of weird development caused by a mutation that causes the normal molecular switches that stop the development of the face at the midline to malfunction, splitting the head in two in the middle and adding more face on both sides in the space between. I don't think they've ever studied one of these mutants to see how far the spit goes. There has been some speculation as to whether these animals have a single brain or two separate ones, but it's actually most likely it's something in between: the frontal would look like two brains with two hemispheres each but at the occiput it fuses into a single two-hemisphere brain.

too bad its DEAD!!
>> Anonymous
>>343421
Heads, faces, whateve. I just want to know if like, all eyes work and the mouths function independently of each other or whatever.
>> Anonymous
>>343427
Well, as>>343426said, it didn't make it. Fluid in the lungs apparently. Had it survived, it would have been interesting to see if it would have developed four fully functional eyes. It seems most split-faced cats lose the eyes in the middle and have to turn their heads around to get a good view of their surroundings. It looks as though both the mouths were separate and fully functional. Too bad we'll never know how it'd have turned out.
>> Anonymous
I WANT ONE.
one kitty, double the loves.

the mother cat would make fun of her baby, forcing it to eventually an hero. this is why most mutant animals die.
>> Anonymous
I heard once that a twoface kitten survived a while, and the owners witnessed one face sleeping while the other face ate. Fucking awesome.
>> Anonymous
>>343460
That's probably Lil'Bit right here>>343403
Its other face can sleep while the other is awake.

It's an adult cat now, BTW. There's also a youtube video of an adult persian/himalayan with two faces that works as a therapy cat.
>> Anonymous
Seeing this makes me rage a little inside. They shouldn't keep this thing alive just because of its "cool mutation". LOOK AT THE DAMN THING.

Same feeling I get with hybrid animals, like ligers. Things like this just shouldn't exist on the face of the earth.
>> Anonymous
>>343703

As far as I'm concerned, if a sport is happy, healthy, and able to function with its deformities, then there is utterly no reason to kill it. It may even be of use as a therapy animal ("I lost my leg in a car accident but this dog can walk on two legs...maybe my life isn't over after all"). If, on the other hand, the animal is extremely ill or is in a massive amount of pain and discomfort or can't feed itself, then of course it should be euthanased. And deliberately breeding deformities into a breed (i.e Munchkins- people should be SHOT) is of course a big fucking wank.

>>343703
Yes, I agree! This kitten is an abomination. No animal with an unusual number of organs must be allowed to survive. We must exterminate it's kind from the face of the earth for blaspheming against the perfect order of God Almighty. Kill the deviants! Suffer not the mutant to live!! PURIFY THE EARTH!!!!½

on the news last night the announced it died.

"shouldn't exist"?
I think, once they're born, as long as they're not in pain, they'd disagree with you on that!
>> Anonymous
>>343714
(lol, doesn't work that way. Kroll or Warhammer Hog or whomever notwithstanding, this shit is the "will of God")
>> Anonymous
Yeah, but it has 2 faces.
It deserves death.
>> Anonymous
>>343747
Oh, so you claim to know what the "will of God" is?
>> Anonymous
>>343714
Adolf, stop this.
>> Anonymous
Then, why do we let humans with unperfect bodies live?
Trisomy 21 as well, their cells went wrong...
kill them all?
>> Anonymous

It's very likely this animal can't even eat.

There are some videos on you tube of two faces kitties, there is one video with a totally grown up adult cat with two faces.

The the 3 (or were 4? don´t remember right now) open at the same time, as well the two mouths. As i can recall of the video, the owner said the animal could not see that well from one of the other face's eye.

º_º, but the cat was really normal aside that...i'll put the link if i find the video *looking for it in jewtube*

the video of the two face grown up cat. But this one does not have two mouths, and it is so cute ;_;

Well duh, it's dead. Dead animals can't eat.

Two-faced cats that are alive manage to eat just fine. Don't invent concerns just so you could justify your hatred of abnormality.
>> Anonymous
i remember seeing this story the mother looked like a ragdoll to me and the father was a tabby moggy. The kitten was on the news again later than week, it died.

All known adult cats with the double-faced condition only have one functional mouth. The other mouth has no access to the esophagus.
