This clause specifies the information requirements for the Class of person application module. The information requirements are specified as the Application Reference Model (ARM) of this application module.

This subclause specifies the ARM entity for this module. The ARM entity is an atomic element that embodies a unique application concept and contains attributes specifying the data elements of the entity. The ARM entity and definition is specified below.
A Class_of_person is a class that has only individual people as members.
EXAMPLE 1 'Stress engineer' is a class of person.
EXAMPLE 2 'Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers' is a class of person.
EXAMPLE 3 'Belgian' is a class of person.
NOTE 1 Set theory relationships can be used to define a class of person who is a stress engineer and a MICE, but not a Belgian.
NOTE 2 The entity Class_of_person in this part of ISO 10303 is identical to the entity class_of_person in ISO 15926-2.
