4 Information requirements

This clause specifies the information requirements for the Class of containment of product application module. The information requirements are specified as the Application Reference Model (ARM) of this application module.

NOTE 1  A graphical representation of the information requirements is given in Annex C.

NOTE 2  The mapping specification is specified in 5.1. It shows how the information requirements are met by using common resources and constructs defined or imported in the MIM schema of this application module.

The following EXPRESS specification begins the Class_of_containment_of_product_arm schema and identifies the necessary external references.

EXPRESS specification:

*)
SCHEMA Class_of_containment_of_product_arm;

4.1 Required AM ARMs

The following EXPRESS interface statements specify the elements imported from the ARMs of other application modules.

EXPRESS specification:

*)
USE FROM Class_arm;    --  ISO/TS 10303-1070

USE FROM Class_of_product_arm;    --  ISO/TS 10303-1077

USE FROM Product_version_relationship_arm;    --  ISO/TS 10303-1020
(*

NOTE 1   The schemas referenced above are specified in the following part of ISO 10303:

Class_arm ISO/TS 10303-1070
Class_of_product_arm ISO/TS 10303-1077
Product_version_relationship_arm ISO/TS 10303-1020

NOTE 2   See Annex C, Figures C.1and C.2 for a graphical representation of this schema.

4.2 ARM entity definition

This subclause specifies the ARM entity for this module. The ARM entity is an atomic element that embodies a unique application concept and contains attributes specifying the data elements of the entity. The ARM entity and definition is specified below.

4.2.1 Class_of_containment_of_product   EXPRESS-GMapping table

A Class_of_containment_of_product specifies a containment mapping between classes of product.

The nature of a containment relationship between individual products may be specified by indicating a class of containment of which it is a member.

EXAMPLE    The relationship 'containment under pressure' between:

that indicates a gas can be contained under pressure in a pressure vessel, is a class_of_containment_of_product.

At an instant in time, the cardinality for this relationship is follows:

The containment relationship between tank T_27 and batch of gas 2001-10-30/B2 can be classified as a 'containment under pressure'.

NOTE 1   The cardinality for the relationship is within the scope of the Cardinality_of_relationship application module.

NOTE 2   This entity is identical to class_of_connection_of_individual in ISO 15926-2, where the relationship is between classes of product.

EXPRESS specification:

*)
ENTITY Class_of_containment_of_product
  SUBTYPE OF (Product_version_relationship, Class);
  SELF\Product_version_relationship.relating_version : Class_of_product;
  SELF\Product_version_relationship.related_version : Class_of_product;
END_ENTITY;
(*

Attribute definitions:

relating_version: an instance of Class_of_product that has containing members.

related_version: an instance of Class_of_product that has contained members.
