Application module: Class of connection of product | ISO/TS 10303-1159:2005(E) © ISO |
This clause specifies the information requirements for the Class of connection of product application module. The information requirements are specified as the Application Reference Model (ARM) of this application module.
NOTE 1 A graphical representation of the information requirements is given in Annex C.
NOTE 2 The mapping specification is specified in 5.1. It shows how the information requirements are met by using common resources and constructs defined or imported in the MIM schema of this application module.
The following EXPRESS specification begins the Class_of_connection_of_product_arm schema and identifies the necessary external references.

NOTE 2 See Annex C, Figures C.1and C.2 for a graphical representation of this schema.
This subclause specifies the ARM entity for this module. The ARM entity is an atomic element that embodies a unique application concept and contains attributes specifying the data elements of the entity. The ARM entity and definition is specified below.
A Class_of_connection_of_product specifies a connection mapping between classes of product.
The nature of a connection between individual products may be specified by indicating a class of connection of which it is a member.
EXAMPLE The relationship 'pump suction pipe connection' between:
that indicates there is a suction side connection between a pump and a pipe, is a class_of_connection_of_product.
At an instant in time, the cardinality for this relationship is follows:
The connection between individual pump P_1001 and individual pipe FW_1001 can be classified as a 'pump suction pipe connection'.
NOTE 1 The cardinality for the relationship is within the scope of the Cardinality of relationship application module.
NOTE 2 This entity is identical to class_of_connection_of_individual in ISO 15926-2, where the relationship is between classes of product.
